Best Western Osaka Tsukamoto

Positives: - Staff is friendly and polite. I would like to specifically call out Mr. Swaragi who was very helpful in the check in process. He should be rewarded for great customer service. - Bestwestern Tsukamoto has laundry wash and dry machine, so we were able to do laundry one day. - As Diamond member, the hotel upgraded me to a larger room which was helpful since I am very claustrophobic. - Train station is 3 minute walk. - Overall, a good hotel for low budget. Negatives - Most staff members dont speak English which makes it very hard. - When we made the reservation, it was impossible to reach the hotel staff by phone. Nobody answers the calls. - If you don't buy breakfast and want to enjoy their complimentary coffee, the lady wouldn't allow to sit in the lobby area. -- Not too many hot options for vegeterians.

Nice place for the right amount of money. Very good BW Diamond Select recognition. Staff was friendly and proactive in resolving some issues. The wifi wasn't very convincing but they gave me a Rakuten mobile wifi modem which resolved the problem. I was a bit disappointed when I realized the sometimes precarious noise level from within the hotel. One could actually hear people stomping on the floor above and everyone opening or closing a door on the same floor and from the room above,also the drainage noises. Funnier even, the trains from outside didn't reach your room, the other people's noise were . I like the free coffee in the lobby and the rather spacious -08 rooms, the smaller ones looked really cramped, so thanks again for the upgrade. They had a drip coffee machine in the room and all the other things you encounter in Japanese hotels like kettle,air cleaner etc. The cleaning was impeccable, the staff does a meticulous and flawless job. The train station is around 300 meters away, a Life supermarket likewise. Another one (called piatto forte(why italian when no one even speaks english?) ) is around 150 meters away. You can actually walk to Osaka by going to Jouso bridge and walking over the Yodo river, it takes like 45 minutes,really nice walk by the way. Careful , millions of bicycles crossing the way…

Great location, 5 minutes walk from/to the train station. Amazing staff members. Breakfast - must try! Very pleased with our stay! Clean facility. Highly recommend especially if you travel as a family. The staff is very friendly, helpful.

very near with JR Tsukamoto, have many minimarts and restaurants around the hotel. Staff are very nice, can keep the luggage before you check-in in that day. The toilet in room is too small but it's ok with this price.

This hotel is conveniently located next to a JR stop that takes you to Osaka and Shin Osaka often and quickly. The neighborhood it's located in is also a nice area with good restaurants, bars, stores, and a jogging path. I loved that it was both livable and accessible. The standard room is basic, but usable for a business hotel. Enough space to open luggage and move around. The one drawback is that you can tell that the non-smoking rooms used to be smoking rooms because there is a lingering smell of cigarettes in the room. If you are sensitive to this then I recommend you book elsewhere.

This hotel has a great location in Tsukamoto and is convenient to cafes, shops and a shopping arcade, all located around the JR station. The hotel is one train stop from Osaka station, then a very short walk. It can also be reached by a 1600 yen taxi ride from Osaka station, The (twin) room was clean and spacious and very quiet, and had coffee and tea making facilities. The foyer of the hotel has a breakfast buffet, tables and chairs, and a vending machine. Although we arrived early, we were able to store our cases and walked around Tsukamoto until the room was ready.

I LOVE this Hotel so much!!! The hotel is so nearby the JR Station and lots of stores or places to eat surrounding the hotels. I LOVE IT!! Nice little french cafe in the corner of the other road. Gifts shop, KFC , McDo, convenient store, sushi small resto and great environment. I'd love to recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Osaka. The hotel room was super clean, a bit spacious and room amenities were all so nice. I lost my key card in JR but the front desk said it was fine, we do not need to pay any fee for the lost key card. Again...LOVE This Hotel so much!!!

Visited Osaka in April 2019 and stayed 2 nights at the Hotel. It was one of the best hotels during my holiday in Japan. The front staff were very friendly. The rooms very spacious and every thing was clean and neat..Quite a big bathroom and the products in the bathroom were of good range. Will recommend it to holiday makers..close to two metro station. The only downside is no coffee sachets. In this day where Japan sees a mixed travel generation, coffee should be a must.

At a minute walk to Tsukamoto St., just one stop from Osaka St., and a bargain price, this was a good choice. Hotel has all the necessary amenities plus a cheap breakfast buffet. On the down side wifi and lighting in the room didn't always work, and some of the staff didn't speak English very well. Still I recommend this hotel.

Excellent service, great value and centrally located. A couple minutes walk to Tsukamoto station, lots of restaurants close within walking distance. We would diffidently stay at the Beat Western Tsukamoto again.

I needed a convenient location for access to Shin Osaka, Osaka and Umeda stations. BW Osaka Tsukamoto was the best choice. The hotel is a five minute walk from Tsukamoto station, itself only one stop from Osaka station. Perfect!

I do not understand at first why the hotel has few reviews online it deserves a lot of review If you are looking for A not too expensive hotel to stay this is hotel is Perfect for the price and its location,it is a business hotel near I think a residential area but 5minute walk from the JR tsukamoto Station which is 1 Station from Osaka Station of JR loop line we got lost upon arrival since we took the exit near KFC wherein the exit should be the yoshinoya side, Find the Family Mart and the Hotel is few steps away. What I love most are the very Accommodating staff which will always serve and greet you with a smile the hotel provide small but clean rooms but with all the basic needs for your stay

The hotel is at most a five minute walk from Tsukamoto station. There is an authentic feel of Japanese culture within the area. People were on their bikes who just parked them around the station without locking them. There is a McDonald and heaps of local restaurant and stores. You can take the shinkansen at Shin Osaka which is two stations away. The staff are quite helpful and communicate well in English. The room is small but very tidy. Coffee and tea are available for free 24/7. Based on location, good customer service, and hotel facilities, we will stay again at this hotel should there be a chance to visit again Osaka. It's worth the price we paid for the hotel.

This hotel is not in a busy area, so for us it was PERFECT. They are only about 5 minute walk from the station and the neighborhood is quiet but close to local restaurants and a grocery store. It is just a hop skip and a jump to Osaka station and a very safe neighborhood (not that you get many unsafe neighborhoods in Japan haha). The hotel staff are extremely helpful and while the breakfast buffet is small, it is very tasty with a lot of variety. They also offer free coffee and have a vending machine. Our room was not super big, but it was perfect for two people and a lot bigger than some places we stayed at in Tokyo. They have a mini fridge and umbrellas for your use. We had to make 3 separate reservations which put us in different rooms, however the staff was so helpful in changing it allowing us to stay in our same room. The staff's English fluency was not perfect but it was enough that we didn't have any issues communicating. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The hotel is clean and the staff is kind, helpful and friendly. Close to restaurants and shopping, as well as the train station. Our room was immaculate. Stayed 10 nights and will book again when returning to Osaka.

We stayed at Best Western Hotel with my friend and our family. Though the room was quite small the basic needs were met. Walking distance to train and hs a direct train access to the airport. Staffs were doing their best to meet my needs even its hard for them.to communicate well in english. They arranged my luggage delivery to the airport since I cannot carry it walking up and down to the stairs going to the train station with my 7 y.o daughter to be considered. Though expensive fee but serves its purpose of convenience. Going to dotonbori was quite a walk but your attention will be focus on shops around you. If you will explore in Osaka this budget hotel is recommended since you only need a bed after those tiring tours.

I stayed this hotel for five nights in my first visit to Japan, It was little bit away from city center of Osaka but it is ok because it is just two minutes walking distance from Tsukamoto train station which is only one station away from Osaka station. So it is easy to back and forth to Osaka by train every day while I was staying in Osaka. Staff was quite friendly and very kibd, room was very clean but it was little bit of chilly early morning. They gave us enough blanket and so it was warm enough to have good sleep but it was still chilly room temperature in the morning. I think that hotel need to provide individual heating equipment for old people. Other than that it was very good and worth to stay this motel.

This hotel is conveniently located within 2 mins. walk from the JR Tsukamoto station. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood with several convenience stores in the vicinity. Great service

Very good, easy to travel because nearby JR train station can be walk 1-2 minutes. All staff are nice and very helpful. All area easy to find foods and goods also bars and stalls. There also has the public bath nearby the hotel.

It is very close to the central Osaka, just one stop to the west from Osaka station. In spite of the quite convenient access to the central terminal and commercial areas, here the town of Tsukamoto is a quiet residential zone. I prefer the quiet environment. The hotel is near to Tsukamoto station, just a few minutes walk. Though it is not a commercial area, we can easily find out a variety of shops around the station, within a 100 metres -- fast food stands, 24 hours opening kiosks etc. Business travelers who are familiar with this country can find every thing within the street around the hotel and the station. The hotel service is excellent and perfect. The hotel in not luxury, and furniture and equipment look a little bit old, they are maintained in a very clean and proper condition. The room is equipped with a proper closet, a refrigerator and every fundamental stuff. Instant noodles, a microwave oven, vending machines for drinks are available at the reception. Free coffee and tea are also served there. Everything needed for average Japanese business travelers are available. My room is faced to the railway and highway road, but it was very quiet and I found no problem staying in the room.
