Wonderful experience for our short stay. Free parking and free shuttles to the parks were super helpful. They have two hot tubs that were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Above all, the staff went above and beyond to make as feel welcome, especially Ivo at the front desk, who helped us everytime we needed something with a smile on his face. His warm hospitality truly made our trip! Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel off Universal Blvd. The location was convenient, the hotel was a good value, and the staff was very friendly. Luciana in Guest Services checked us in and really stood out. She was professional, welcoming, and took great care of us from the moment we arrived. She made the check-in process easy and made sure we had everything we needed. Great customer service makes a big difference, and Luciana definitely delivered. We really appreciated how well she took care of us and would stay here again.

This hotel is our go-to place when we go to Universal! Clean rooms and overall hotel, close to the theme parks, and plenty amenities for such a good value! The hotel staff is absolutely amazing! Vamden at the front desk always greets us with a smile and is incredibly helpful and welcoming. Daniela is also always smiling, friendly, and happy to assist with anything we need. They both consistently go above and beyond to make our stays enjoyable. We truly appreciate them and love seeing them every time we visit!

Our check in guest rep was great! We walked in without a reservation after going to another hotel that had roaches in the room. She was kind and patient! Rachael at the buffet was amazing too!

We picked this hotel because of its location. Nope, no expensive parks for us. Hotel sits near many, many Little Free Libraries. Staff was very nice. Room was superb. Size, electric outlets, view, lighting, furniture. Weird was the faucet adjustment in the tub. Each morning we saw a ton of busses taking folks all over the area. All about Location.

The room is nice and cozy, the grill has really good food and Rachael at breakfast is always in a great mood and ready to serve!

The room was clean and smell good with a nice aroma. The pillows were very comfortable including the bed. The only problem was the water was not hot for a nice hot shower, it was cold. Breakfast was good and the food was hot and fresh. Rachel is a bundle of joy to any atmosphere. She went above and beyond her task.

A couple of years ago, a friend of mine, recommended this hotel, and I couldn't be happier with it! It's the only hotel I stay at when I go to Orlando now. Great location, Great, staff, Great service!! You always see the staff cleaning, organizing, painting, keeping the hotel in tiptop shape. About a year ago, I had the pleasure of meeting staff member Ramon Alvarez. He is always very friendly and happy to help in anyway he can. He is super fast, efficient, and truly an asset to this company!

Everything was perfect, since I arrive there I felt like I was safe. The girl in the front desk was so nice, and Octavio who was serving breakfast was so friendly always with a smile and asking if all in the room are fine.

A special thank you to Mr. Ramon for quickly fixing the refrigerator issue in my room, Chef Joan for the great food, and John the special bartender, for his outstanding service on Friday and Saturday. The room had problems and there were people outside room using hallway as a phone booth. I requested a new room and had difficult with the front desk. The new room was subpar. The bathroom door on the inside was all broken up. The walls were really dirty. The vanity was falling off the wall. You could see where they tried to fix it but it was still separating from the wall. There was a constant noise in the bathroom. Really not good. I had to request a second refrigerator because first one didn't work. The second one was not much better. I wound up using the second sink with ice in it for refrigeration. I would never stay at a Best Western again if this is the level of rooms. The restaurant and service were great. The food was superb. That was the only thing that saved my trip.

Amazing atmosphere right from the front desk. The staff speaks english, portuguese and spanish, which was a great plus. *Big shoutout to Ivo, who helped us with such kindness. Free parking and shuttle service were very convenient. The rooms were clean and had a nice view, although nothing particularly special; but worth the price we paid!

Extraordinary location if you're visiting Universal - there are even complimentary shuttle buses to the parks. The rooms are clean, and the value for the price is excellent. The staff is amazing (and if you get the chance, look for Ivo at the front desk - he's incredibly kind, helpful, and truly stands out). Free parking is a great bonus, and the jacuzzis are perfect for relaxing after a long day.

A group of 11 friends n family visiting Universal Studio's stayed at Best Western Orlando Gateway for 3 days and it was an amazing experience. Jhonny at the Bar went out of his way to make us feel at home and also suggesting what food to order and what drink to try. Kids were happy with the food that was served and the adults had fun with trying different drinks.

I will definitely be back. The breakfast was nothing special, but the price for the hotel is fair, the rooms are clean, and the location is perfect. On top of that, Ivo at the front desk was one of the most caring and captivating people I've met in a while. I'm truly glad I chose this hotel.

Rooms were okay. bathroom was outdated and not hygenic at all. age and heavy use was clearly visible even though they invested A LOT in paint to cover it up. Basically it is just a worn-out comfort-inn with make-up paint. Plus is the location, price and free parking.

I am giving this place 5 stars because of the people who work here. Every employee I had an interaction with was incredibly kind and courteous. A special shout out to Rachael, at the deli/snack counter there. It was lovely to come downstairs to her good energy in the mornings, while grabbing coffee and breakfast.

Nice pool, 2 jacuzzis each at a different temperature. Several quiet elevators. The in-house deli and market were well stocked. The hotel bar had a great atmosphere and the bartender Jhonny really knew his stuff! Great quick drinks and he took care of the tables!

I've stayed at scores of Best Westerns for the past few decades and NO OTHER offers what this one does! Has everything you need, or want! Pool, full fitness center, restaurant w/bar, business center, plenty of free parking, FULL breakfast (at a cost), in-room coffee, complete snack shop/deli, with beverages and gifts! Great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, great views and extremely clean. You cannot go wrong here!

Second time staying at this Best Western and we had an amazing time once again. The AC unit wasn't working 100%, but Ivo helped us as usual and quickly fixed the situation with a smile on his face. It's a safe place with lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Always worth it if you're looking for a clean and quiet option in Orlando. The bar is also really good!

This hotel was old and not clean. I stayed for three nights. My room was never cleaned, my bed was never made. However, I know the housekeeping staff did visit my room because I had a stack of new towels on my sink. The main light in the room would not turn off until I flipped the switch about 10 times. The corners of the room were filthy. The Internet stopped working, meaning the TV would not work. Every time I returned to the room, my key card was no longer working, so I had to go to the front desk to have it fixed. I would not recommend this hotel.

I don't remember his name — I think it was Joan. I know he was of Venezuelan origin. Last night (Sunday) he attended us in a very kind and professional manner. I truly wish everyone were like that. Honestly, 5 stars for him and for the place. Thank you!

Good location for Universal Parks. Room was good, bathroom a bit tired, shower head needed a good clean. Don't eat there, breakfast was cold and not worth the money - eat out. Check out was 11am but they cut off access to internet and TV well before check out. The draft coming out the air conditioning unit was terrible as the cover was broken and despite the light being turned off, every time the fridge kicked in the light flashed blue (room 609)

My fiance and I went for breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. From the food to the service , we went around 10 am and the cook Maria was attentive of whatever needed to be replenish, she made fresh French toast, hash browns and even tho the eggs were filled she still made a fresh batch and took the other eggs out. I believe that is good hospitality, being attentive about the food she is cooking and she made sure everything was replenished as well.

The service at the hotel was very good. We went to breakfast and the host Octavio was very helpful and let us know about the breakfast buffet service. After we got our food he made sure we were okay and would frequently go around the tables asking if we and others were doing well.

This affordable hotel has been updated and it's nice. It is very close to all of the major theme parks. It isn't a 5 star resort, but our room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed. The breakfast was well-stocked and the hot options were filling. There is a LOT to choose from at the breakfast buffet.. eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, fresh fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, cereals, etc... The highlight of the stay was Luciana at the front desk. She was SO helpful in SO many ways. She answered all of our questions and ensured we had absolutely everything we needed. We will stay here again!

This is my go to hotel when I stay in Orlando and not on Disney property. The lake view room is my favorite and stunning. The rooms are always clean, parking is easy, close to Universal parks, the onsite deli has a wide variety of items and they also offer a breakfast you can purchase. I feel that the value for this resort is amazing. Luciana has checked me in the past three stays and she always greets me with a warm smile and friendly manner. She has gone above and beyond to make sure each trip is nothing less than excellent.

Service: 5, I had booked 2 rooms adjoining for our family. Upon arrival after 4pm they did not have adjoining rooms ready yet, so one room was upgraded to a King from 2 dbl. Ivo took good care to make sure we knew all we needed to about the facility's amenities. Facility: Rooms: Bare bones necessities in the room; shampoo/body wash combo & conditioner, 1 make up wipe and a tiny hand soap bar. Prepackaged coffee type maker, not Kuerig. Small fridge & microwave. Giant TV. AC was incredibly loud, but it drowned out the fireworks noise from the theme parks. Walls were somewhat thin; we could hear the dog next door bark and our grand-baby cry. Floors are 100% vinyl as they accommodate animals. Pool was lovely; towels available and 2 hot tubs at different temps 100° & 104°. They even have a separate sunbathing area called their ‘parent refuge'. Gym: didn't try Deli: has made to order coffees as well as drip, lots of pre made sandwiches and made to order food as well. Charcuterie, alcohol and pre-packed fruit, ice creams, as well as fresh scoop ice cream. Restaurant on premise: didn't try. Restaurants near by: 5⭐️ to BJ's Brewhouse; Monday night 1/2 off large pizzas!

The room was very nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and the comforter was very good and warm. And hospitality was amazing. Also the gentlemen named OJAVIO in restaurant for breakfast buffet he is amazing and so friendly and kind and always has a smile. I love this hotel the location is perfect. Definitely recommend this Best Western Gateway hotel.

We had a beautiful view of Volcano Bay and more from our 6th floor room. This was a quick 3 night trip to Universal, and our 5th or 6th stay at this Best Western. It is not fancy or deluxe but clean, safe and comfortable and very convenient for visiting Universal and the surrounding area. The staff are caring and helpful and this hotel has everything you need. The pool is basic and no frills but there are also 2 spa tubs to go in when you get chilly. I will be back again for sure. I have never eaten there but they have an onsite restaurant and it offers a full, hot breakfast buffet for about $16 each. My only issue with this hotel is that I feel the resort fee is a bit unfair as they don't have a lot of extras and the pool is just a basic pool.

So we arrived at the best western last sat for a night to go sw aqua glow unfortunately weather didnt workout anyway we were greeted by luciana amazing welcome from her right from the start she upgraded are rooms for free which said on one side of building were nicer n newer so all is good. But ny bro got his room ac wasn't working luciana took good care of him switched to another room ! My room was pretty good despite ac blowing loud which I never cared but made flapping noise in 346 must be fixed for future stay for people ! Overall good experience ! Will be back !

I stayed at best western Orlando Gateway hotel 7299 universal Blvd on 08/12/25 to 08 /13/25 and it was a wonderful experience, Ms Carol at the front desk is one of the most amazing person I have ever come across,she would go above and beyond compliance to make my sure every guest are well taken care of. This was a last minute plan to go to Orlando and visit the theme park. Looking for a hotel that was within our budget and close to the park, Best Western did not disappoint. Parking was free.

We came to a birthday party in Orlando for one night, and needed a place nearby to stay for one night. A friend recommended staying here as it was close to where the birthday party was. I travel all the time and little expectation as we just needed a place to put our heads down as we were arriving late at night. Good thing we had no expectations as the hotel was immediate a bit smelly from the rugs laid down. The room itself was a generic room which at least had a refrigerator. But the pillows looked like they came from a summer camp. The television worked sporadically and there was no free coffee that was freshly brewed available for free.. Can't remember the last time I saw this.

Incredible service. I spent a week with a very large group and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Rooms were freshened very regularly and breakfast was served every morning

I was here with the Mississippi Lions All-State Band for our Orlando vacation/competition. The staff always treated us very nicely. Not only this, but the rooms were pretty nice and ALWAYS well accommodated with fresh towels and the sorts. I do not have a single bad thing to say about this hotel and its employees. Really made a great time even better.

I booked a room with yourselves via the App Hotel.com for the event of 12th June 2025 as I was due after travelling from Norfolk Virginia via Philadelphia. Unfortunately upon landing at Philadelphia I learned that the onward flight to Orlando was cancelled. After much confusion and amongst the 100's of other passengers in the same situation I realised I wasn t going to get to Orlando that evening. At 18.24 12/6 I called the hotel and spoke to Yash and advised the above' He said the reservation would be cancelled. No charge. Don't worry about it. I heard nothing som on 17/6 8.05am I rang and spoke to Evelyn, who stated no show charged but released security deposit, charged as a no show. She said she will speak to yash who is the night manager get him to ring but he may not be able to dial International. I provided my Email address she said he would email To date i have heard absolutely nothing from Yash or Evelyn despite your promises. i have left 8 messages on the Hotel App where you claim you will respond by email, I have disputed the transaction based on the above conversation - yet you have invited I be charged The only thing you appear interested in is a review - which I am more than willing to give based on the service I have received so far the hotel refused a refund and completely contradicted their own staff

Old, Dirty Bathroom – Awful A/C Noise – Uncomfortable Beds – Discrimination at the Front Desk This was honestly the worst hotel experience of my life. The bathroom was old, dirty, and smelled like urine. It was disgusting and totally unacceptable. The air conditioning made a loud, horrible noise all night long, making it impossible to sleep. The beds were old, hard, and way too small. Extremely uncomfortable. But the worst part of all was the discrimination and verbal abuse I suffered from Luciana at the front desk. She was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. I felt humiliated and mistreated, especially as a guest with a disability. If you don't want your trip to Orlando to be ruined, PLEASE DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Lucana was so welcoming and friendly. We had a great stay. Although it was brief it was great. We enjoyed drinks by the pool. Everything was clean. Breakfast was great. And the staff was amazing. Thank you best western for another great stay!

The hotel as a hole was pretty good, the room was nice and location made everything easy. But the best part definitely was the service, from the receptionists to the ones responsible for the room cleaning Best breakfast service ever, thanks Rachael Deli!!!

The hotel is tucked away in a relatively quiet area. Not much food outlets or convenient stores nearby the hotel. We had to take about a 10-minute walk to International Drive where there is a supermarket Walgreens, a gift shop and a few food outlets. There is a bus stop to take the “Link/Lynx” buses which has a day pass costing USD4.50 (you can purchase this from the driver when you get up the bus). Using the ‘Maps' app, we can navigate our way in Orlando for the entire day. No issues with check in and staff is helpful. Room size is comfortable and clean although a little dated. The air-conditioner in our room is a little noisy and the toilet door does not close properly at times. The room does come with a microwave which is great as it allows us to heat up of food. There is no cleaning / make-up and of the room on the second day although they do provide fresh towels. Overall not too bad a stay in this hotel.

Every time I come to Orlando, I stay at this hotel! I always receive the best service in the world! Luciana manages to outdo herself with every stay, always giving me all the support and assistance I need to make my stay perfect! The rooms are great, clean, and well-maintained! The breakfast is excellent, with a full buffet! And the view of the lake from our room is always an extra bonus that brings back good memories! I'm leaving this review specifically to celebrate Rachael's overflowing kindness and compassion. I chaperoned a group trip to Orlando, and from the standpoint of an adult who wants his students to see good examples of humanity and care no matter what field you are in, Rachael is the personification of those ideals. The hotel has many deficits, leaving just one worker in the breakfast buffet area. When Rachael was working, she tirelessly was cleaning off tables, asking about how the students were doing, checking on the food supply, etc. On days when Rachael wasn't there (specifically when an older, grumpy Hispanic fellow was working in her place), the students were quite upset. Rachael also was a standout employee in the convenience store, and when she saw our students were without aloe, she found a giant bottle to help us out. Best Western better treat her well before a higher class chain such as Hilton, Marriott, or IHG rightfully snatches her up.

The lady in the restaurant, Rachevel: Kitchen, is the most amazing person I have ever met. She is unbelievably kind and considerate, and quick to offer anything she can to make our days and breakfasts better. She is so bright and happy and she was so eager to wish us all a goodbye. I hope she has an amazing life and I hope that other people get to experience her the same way we did, because she is a sun of a person.

It's a great place for a vacation! The breakfast is always good, like they have everything what you need for example bacon, scrambled egg, french toast, biscuits, waffle, pancakes, orange juice, apple juice, etc. And the staff were very kind.

While there were complications with our room and it caused much frustration, I knew I could always be excited to go to breakfast because of the one and only Rachael. She goes above and beyond with everything she does from taking my plate to being a genuine person who is absolutely amazing. She's the best worker here and there is no way she is getting paid enough for her beautiful hospitality service.

There were certain things we think could have been better regarding the hotel but the staff was the real highlight. Specifically Rachael, who we've seen working the store in the hotel lobby as well as in the kitchen and breakfast area doing her absolute best to make sure everyone is taken care of. She's treated me and all of my friends with great kindness and respect and consistently given us attention to make sure we had our best experience. 5 stars to her all around. She's the only employee who we truly noticed as she made herself stand out with her above average care and kindness. She deserves a raise!

No free breakfast, but very close to Universal Studios. No luggage cart for us to use. I did see 1 . The plugs on the nightstand didn't work. The makeup light didn't work either. The hot water didn't get hot but it did get very very warm, if you turned on the sink first.

Great for a one night stay. Enjoyed the pool and convenient location near I-95 and Universal Resorts. Free parking was a plus, easy walk to ice cream and Waffle House. Room a bit small but surprisingly quiet. Comfortable beds. Lobby newly decorated, everything we needed for the night!

After a long day of travel and inconvenience Ivo at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and kind! I really wish they had a breakfast included with the stay considering we have to pay a resort fee and don't even get daily cleaning. The rooms could certainly use new air conditioners to be in Florida but all in all it's an okay stay.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience here at this hotel. If I had known in advance, I would have booked a longer stay. The bed was originally going to be two doubles but was upgraded to a King for us, which I'm so grateful for. The front desk person, Evelyn, was delightful ? she helped us to ensure we got transferred to universal studios and she helped us get an Uber to the airport at checkout. She was so friendly and patient and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We definitely would stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel to others. Special thank you to Evelyn for going above and beyond in customer service.

Rooms are very clean. Staff is vwry friendly. Complementry luggage storage for same day. Hotel is near by universal studio ($8-10 in taxi). Swmming pool is good with two hot tubs. Drinking water is available in Gym up to 10 pm and extra money for breakfast.

Very clean. Good, cheap rates and right around the corner from Universal! The tv's were smart tv's. The staff was very nice at check-in and check-out, especially Ivo. There is a restaurant and a little convenience store in the lobby for small needs when you do not feel like leaving. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean and fresh, although there is a little age to this facility, I couldn't help but be impressed with the cleanliness. The look, the feel, the smell. Everything from the pool to the bar, is well kept and clean. My hat is off to all of the staff.for this. The front desk staff helped me out a lot. Evelyn and Barbara had the shifts for the time I was there. What impressed me the most was not their working skills but the fact that they had been well brought up, well before they decided to come to work. This kind of quality upbringing brings more to the table than your typical pencil pushing front desk clerk. The feeling you get is one of confidence, that you are in the right place and that your needs will be met. Really, that's what matters. Once you cross that threshold, your worries can disappear. I posted a review on Google, but thought I'd add my review here since this was such a nice hotel: Wonderful hotel in Orlando near Universal Studios for an overnight stay. Price very good, Friendly and accommodating staff, really nice rooms, excellent customer service. There's an adjoining restaurant (Sharkeys) open for breakfast lunch and dinner and a nice pool and hot tub. The hotel has an snack shop where we could grab snacks, sandwiches, drinks, souveniers, etc. before heading over to the parks if you don't have time for breakfast. I believe this hotel has shuttle to the parks, but we didn't use it. We are members of Best Western's rewards program, and they upgraded us to a really nice room with a great view. We only live a couple hours away and would definitely will stay here again (it's close to Universal and we are passholders) when we come to Orlando and visit Universal Studios. At reception we were greeted by Gabriel who explained all the amenities and strengths of the accommodation with friendliness and honesty. In the rooms we found comfort, cleanliness and coziness and at breakfast we were very well received with cordiality and interest in serving us. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Older hotel however it was clean. 30 min from the airport. no Complimentary breakfast. No hot tub. in the middle of the universal area district. I would return for a short stay in the future. Not bad for the price we paid as we used points. It wasn't the fewest points but wasn't the highest either

This hotel is is clean and very accommodating. Rachel who works in breakfast always brings the flood to our table since me and my mom are both in wheel chairs. During breakfast she is always checking if we need anything. She is a good hard worker. Also Rebeca at the front is so nice and accommodating. She always helps. She has excellent customer service. Also fast check in. Ms. Pamela Anderson she is the house keeping supervisor is always on point making sure the rooms are extremely clean. She will ask if you need anything. Jherusa has very good customer service. She is a good director. Extremely nice and helpful. I recommend this hotel. I had stayed 2 while my house is getting repaired from the hurricane.

This hotel was disappointing. I went on a group trip and stayed here and while it wasn't horrible there were some issues. #1: Every single floor smelt like weed. I'm not sure who was staying on the 3rd floor this week but lord you need to air out the room. #2: It's unclean. Not sure what happened to my friend's bed but there was a stain on top of the covers that looked like dried blood or (hopefully not) poop. #3: Roaches! I found a hole in the floorboard underneath the desk that a few roaches crawled out of. I told the front desk about this and nothing was done. This hotel is conveniently close to Universal and affordable. Other than those two reasons I wouldn't stay here again.

Terrific stay starting with front desk check in with Rock Star Luciana! Very clean and up-to-date property with everything I needed except would have liked higher temps and less wind haha. Will definitely stay here again when not freezing in Wisconsin.

Very disappointed with the hotel. Tried to talk with a manger while on stay about the room rate dropping around time of checkin. He was not available. In the room, (1) the safe did not work, (2) the knob in the shower was loose, and (3) the card on the back of the entry door was missing with emergency/fire instructions. After my stay, I called the hotel manager, Mike Gush twice, and no response. Sent an e-mail and then a response from front end manager, Puerta . Then a 'staff member' called and left me a VM (without their name to call back to). I tried to call back and got VM. Then called corporate office and customer service people were helpful. I was promised some compensation by Yash, the night manager, but never sent it or connected. Called him several times! Lot of wasted time trying to followup with a staff that really did not seem to care... If you want to take a gamble of a hotel, good luck. If you want a quality experience with responsive staff, this is the WRONG PLACE for you!

After a bad experience at another hotel, we booked the Best Western. When we got here, Maria was so helpful, kind, friendly, and informative. She gave us SO MANY tips and fun places to visit. This trip is for my daughter's birthday, Maria absolutely made her feel so special and made the experience at The Best Western absolutely a wonderful part of our trip!!!

It is simple. This hotel has roaches. Stop and buy bug spray if you plan to stay the night. I did report this to the desk. I did not see the bugs till the morning / stayed one night. They asked I submit the picture to their email, which I did. Some folks may not mind sleeping with roaches. I do.

Me and my wife arrived late in Orlando and were able to check-in at the BW Orlando in no time ! The receptionist Ivo was of great help and made sure we had everything we needed, he explained everything and even offered to upgrade us to a better room ! Great and friendly service, 100% recommend !

I had a good experience staying at this hotel, it has a great location nearby international drive with many restaurants and shops close to the hotel, and also has a very competitive price, front desk Luciana and Maria did an excellent job helping me with all that I needed during my stay

John was very friendly, helpful and quick to check us in. I have Diamond status and we appreciated the room upgrade positioned next to the heated pool. John also gave us local recommendations and we've had a great experience. Everyone here has made us feel at home.

Perfect location, nice 3 star hotel. At the reception. We were hostess by Luciana, who gave us great tips on how to move around Orlando and to the universal park she deserves five stars regarding the hotel. It was a nice three star with clean room and comfortable bed. The location was five stars right next to the shuttles to Universal Studios

We paid $35 to check in early just to find a cockroach in the bathroom less than 5 minutes after walking in. We were “upgraded” to a new room that was not an upgrade at all. These rooms are so dirty they clearly don't clean. Hair in the towels, sheets, and counter. The AC/heat does not work well at all you'll be sweating, freezing, and it's musty. The beds are so uncomfortable. It was so loud between rude guests running and talking in the hall at 12am and someone pushing a cart at 1am you won't even sleep. The front desk could not care less that you have roaches they say they “sorry” but can't offer any compensation because they “fixed” our problem of having roaches by moving us to an “upgraded” room. After complaining all we ended up getting back was a $14 resort fee which is a joke. Read all the reviews before booking; the response to this review like all the others will probably be them saying thanks for telling us, we'll take this info so it doesn't happen in the future…but they have reviews years old that mention roaches and cleanliness issues so beware they won't fix that.

Amazingly welcoming staff, especially Lucianna, she was smiling and joking even at 11pm when checking in. All the staff is nice and the hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Definitely a come back to place. They offer shuttles to Disneyworld

Great hotel. Located just as good as any of the universal hotels not on site. The staff are very good. Big shoutout Ivo who was extremely helpful throughout our whole stay. The room was clean and spacious, the windows were privacy protected, the swimming pool was great, and walking distance from many restaurants and shops.

Our stay at the Best Western was decent. The hotel is situated at a convenient location from Universal Studios and also has a shuttle for transportation to the park. The room was comfortable and our check in was smooth and friendly thanks to Carol at the front desk. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options in offering and the staff was ensuring the stations had food in them at all times. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great stay for a night passing through the city of Orlando for work. Breakfast is a buffet and was supported by Rachel who was very proactive and friendly in getting us sorted. Would suggest reflecting on adding non-pork options for those with dietary restrictions.

After a long day of work, it was so refreshing to arrive and be greeted by Luciana. So warm, welcoming, and a bit of a jokester, she made me feel right at home and helped the work day just melt away. The moment I & my husband got in the hotel lobby, the comfortable soft cushions of the seats attracted my exhausted husband from NYC flight. Then I was greeted with smile and warm hospitality of Evelyn at the front desk. She was able to attend to all my inquiries and questions because this was our first time short vacation in Orlando. I will start off by saying I stayed 3 nights needs updated badly. The head lady upfront didn't help with any issues I had . Like wanting to change the channel in lobby . However the next day the other 2 ladies 1 being rebeca was awesome changed the channels in the lobby for me no issues. Actually took time and change it 2 times as I had the wrong game. She needs to be promoted . the breakfast here is really good and fresh , the crew been here for awhile and super nice not sure his name starts with O . And they have a basketball court most places don't. The room is hot not sure why have wood doors on the ac . Also dinner here is expensive and wasn't that good for the money .

Great location! Good staff. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Yo have a lot of options to eat nearly. Universal and Sea World are close to this location. The price is good and you can use your Best Western Rewards point, without any limitations.

This place is a DUMP. Every time I got my towels changed they were dirty with hair and stains. I asked for them to be changed out, and was told that they would. I put teabag envelope in the fold of one because I was suspicious that they were not really changed out. So after I requested they be changed again due to them being dirty, I still found the teabag envelope. The AC unit made a horrible noise when it came on and the cover fell off and no one came to fix it even after I notified the hotel via text. Our door kept getting stuck due to so many layers of paint. The bathroom was dirty on arrival. We had two sinks but we were only given one bar of soap. This is something that should come standard, a bar soap per sink. This isn't something I should have to ask for every day. The Wi-Fi was horrible and did not work. My Wi-Fi speed checker wouldn't even register the Internet signal. You could not stay at this hotel and be a business traveler. I'm not sure what the resort fee covers because breakfast is not included. I guess it's more or less a parking fee. Other than the price and close proximity to Universal Studios, this hotel has nothing good to offer. It has been given the landlord special on more than one occasion with paint covering up imperfections left and right. Also- I had a reusable straw in my cup and it went missing on the second day. I asked if housekeeping had put it somewhere and I got no response. I will never stay here again

Whenever I visit Orlando, I stay at the Best Western Orlando Gateway. It is undoubtedly the best value for money in the city. Starting with the exceptional service and attention during check-in (Luciana is hands down the best, without question) and the outstanding assistance provided by the entire team she leads! The breakfast and deli services are also excellent. The location is perfect, and if you book a room with a view of the lake, the sunset is simply breathtaking. This will always be my home in Orlando. Ever since my first visit, inspired by reviews and recommendations about Luciana, we have never chosen another hotel! Luciana, thank you so much for taking such great care of us during all our stays! You are simply the best, always! See you soon!

Very good stay clean and juliane deli in the shop was,so friendly and helpful and,had a great smile. I travel her often and normally stay here due to the location and friendliness of the staff . The room is always fresh and clean and the location is great.

Our stay so far has been great. Ivo was very helpful and funny. And I had a problem with my room card, and it was fixed very quickly. We still have one more night here , had to leave a review in case I forgot. We are planning on going to universal studios.

I want to leave this review specifically for Carol. We stayed for three nights and were initially placed in a room with a shared door where we could hear everything, including loud laughter at 3 a.m., and we couldn't get any rest on the first night. The next day, Carol kindly assisted us and helped us move to a more isolated room. We are incredibly grateful for her help.

Checking in was easy but when I got to room it had mildew smell and the beds were questionable on if they were clean. I saw the sheets have stains. The room it self was worn out meaning old everything. I happen to kill a roach during my stay which I decided to checkout early. My tip to you is pay a little more for the peace of mind.

Best offsite hotel to stay. Best prices, free parking, 2 hot tubs, pool, fridge and microwave also no charge. Staff at front desk, Luciano and rest to cafe and restaurant are always so friendly and helpful. Easy access to universal all day. This is a Universal affiliate hotel also.

Luciana was the first person we met at the hotel. She was super nice and made us feel like we were home. She gave us all the information we needed about the hotel and checked us in quickly and efficiently. We judge a hotel on that first experience.

Luciana at the front desk was great . She was very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. It's also very close to Universal, about a mile and a half away. I loved how soft the pillows were. We had a great view of the lake from our room.

Here the smell of marijuana is very strong and many people arrive drugged and bother those of us who are sleeping. The noise between rooms is heard a lot and they don't let you sleep. In my experience you could hear many people having sex and it was very uncomfortable. Also, they don't change the sheets or clean the room. I spent 8 days with dirty and messy sheets. In addition, in our room the refrigerator was short-circuited and generated sparks at night which made us feel very insecure. On the contrary, the buffet is a success since the staff is very friendly and attentive. In addition, the price is affordable and there is enough variety. In general, I can say that the hotel is beautiful but it is very expensive to have so many inconveniences.

The Manager and Desk Staff were very warm and happy to see us I've stayed at many Best Western Hotels in 4 different states This hotel needs a major remodel, Rooms were in poor working order, WiFi, was less than useable, A/C worked but was falling apart Towel rack in bathroom fell off in my hand And “No Free Breakfast” which is a big part of our budget

Ivo was amazing! Helpful, kind, knowledgeable. The hotel itself needed some improvement. It was clean. The TV froze frequently, the light flashed frequently throughout the night, shower curtain was ripped, grout was falling apart etc. Good enough for a night, but I wouldn't want to do an extended stay.

The only reason I give this even a poor star is because Luceana was very nice and made the check in process so easy, other than that it would have been a terrible. Now the hotel itself would never get my business again. Pros: Luceana who checked us in was excellent. Coffee was complimentary but the taste was good. Cons: Very overpriced for a 1 star hotel Very outdated Rooms smell musty Air conditioner barely works and is super super super noisy. Carpets and floors are dirty The water pressure is horrible The tv remote didn't work Some of the lights don't work Nothing is included not even the coffee $2.65 for a med coffee usually all hotels have a least complimentary coffee. Elevators feel like they are going to give out at any time. I told the cleaning 3 times we weren't leaving yet at 8:30am and she still was trying to come in the room. Don't go to the welcome package they offer when you check in it's of course the old come sit in our presentation bs

Our purpose was staying a few days to pass Hurricane Milton, but our experience was that of a nice, caring, and warm getaway. Luciana and Carol at Front Desk are always on top of everything and make the process of checking in/out amazing. In addition, the care they out into their guests can be seen with each and every interaction. The service alone sells this property for the wonderful price it is.

Rooms are older, dirt in corners of the bathroom, the bathroom door hits the toilet, bathroom very small. The water pressure was weak. All the furniture was chipped and peeling. The bed was comfortable. There were no luggage carts when I arrived nor when I left. The young lady at the desk finally radioed the housekeeping and found me one when I arrived after waiting. But I just didn't bother asking when I left, I just made 4 trips back and forth to my car with my things. There needs to be a sign stating that carts should be returned or there will be a charge added to your account, or the hotel needs to invest in more carts. There was a misunderstanding on my rate and room at check in and the young lady that originally checked me in was all smiles and friendly but after the misunderstanding she never spoke or made eye contact with me again. I did go to the hot tub, there are 2 one is very good and the other has weak jets. Both were very clean. There was a lot of smoking and vaping around the pool which I didn't appreciate. I don't like the resort fee or the high cost of breakfast that most hotels give away free. I am not sure I will return with the cost of breakfast and the resort fee makes the low rate unappealing. There locating is right beside Universal Dockside hotel.

Loved the convenience and amenities. Beautiful pool and hot tub and I had a beautiful view of volcano bay and a watweview. Plenty of parking. Great bar, convenience store, breakfast buffet, store. My Airbnb cancelled due to Hurricane Milton and we had a wedding so our family reserved there because of their great cancellation policy up to the day before. We weren't going to the parks but it was a Great location and very safe and family or couple oriented close to international Drive but you really don't need to leave your hotel for anything but you can if you want. Plenty of restaurants around.

Joan was the most attentive person. Kind and very helpful and an amazing cook. Johny was a great bar tender and always made us smile. We will be back again and again and we will keep coming back. We love this hotel. Nothing is too much for any of the staff. Xx

A very good hotel with nice staff. We were greeted by the lovely Lucinda when we checked in. The room was nice and clean? Minus one star because it was poor noise isolation between our room and the room nextdoor, and because the airconditioner was very loud.

We had a wonderful time and wanted to give a shout out to the front desk worker named Ivo. After a long day of travel he welcomed us and made sure we were well taken care of. He got us a beautiful room on the eight floor. We could see Universal Studios and SeaWorld from our room.

A basic hotel doesn't expect much… a bit rundown no smart tv's … pretty standard . You can get a better deal and much nicer modern rooms at the hotel literally next door but honestly the highlight of this hotel is people like Evelyn at the reception :) . Such a sweetheart always smiling and welcoming you with a warm attitude and genuinely helping with everything even with the super heavy bags which is not part of her job cant thank you enough really Also people at the cafeteria/ mart inside were nice and cheerful as well as the housekeeping To sum it up some of the people who work here definitely make up for this old hotel in need of a renovation

Went to Orlando for Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights opening weekend. The staff at this hotel are always amazing, especially Luciana at the front desk. They always make us feel like family, and go out of their way to make sure our stay is the best. Octavio in Sharky & Jacks at breakfast time is also a highlight of our trip. He is always smiling and anticipating any and all needs we have.

The only good thing about this hotel is its proximity (1.6 miles) to the Universal Theme Park entrance. The bad: room 749; king with sofa bed. Most uncomfortable sofa bed ever. The cushions were badly and suspiciously stained. In drastic need of replacement. The shower had, at its best, lukewarm water. The aircon was so horrendously noisy we had to shut it off in the middle of night to get any sleep. The toilet barely flushed. The towels had stains and dirt on them. The staff was polite, but it's not their fault the hotel is old, and as another person said, is in dire need of updating. Parking is 'free' but there is a $15 'resort charge', for a hotel that clearly is not a resort. Translation: parking is $15. Granted the room price is under $100, but the owners need to do a thorough room-by-room check of all amenities in the room and cure what needs fixing.

I chose this hotel as the website indicated it had shuttles to Universal, which it does. But they leave at 7 and 11 in the morning, you have to give a day's notice also. The return shuttles are at 5 and 9:30. I was advised we could walk to another hotel and use their shuttle, which defeats the purpose of staying at this hotel. It is centrally located and fairly easy to get out of. We ended up driving to Universal and spending $32 a day to park so not sure it was worth it. The website indicates a $14 a day resort fee (not sure I would call it a resort) but they actually fee was $15.75 a day. Nice laundry services and we did not use the pool. The restaurant was clean and the room was clean. The shuttle service really annoyed me as that was the main reason we were staying there.

We experienced a terrible stay here, our room ac did not work, reported it, could not move due to hurricane, they do not respect the Do Not Disturb signs, housekeeping very disrespectful property management was same way (birds of a feather flock together), bathroom faucet sprayed everywhere, worst Hotel stay ever not consistent with BW brand standards! Night staff did not know how to check in my additional rewards points room that was to be comped via points. They offered extra points for the ac not working but all I wanted was a flawless uninterrupted stay. And i am Best Western Diamond Status traveler military and family vacationer of over 25 years I do not recommend this property dated, needs upgraded beds ( ours upon checkin had a blood stain down the corner of the bed after we checked for bed bugs as I do in all hotels), technology and staff that speaks English as there was a reverse language barrier where the housekeeping and front desk staff could not communicate well with guest's speaking English because they spoke Spanish. Definitely going to send my own review to DOD!

Hotel is disgusting! Smells musty and moldy when you walk in. Had to have key cards reset 3 times because quit working. Bathtub. Slimy and not clean Toilet not working correctly Front desk manager needs lessons on how to deal with problems Tried to charge for smoking in room. They sent someone that doesn't speak English to check the room with me. She opened the door and sniffed and said cigarettes. I haven't smoked since 2016. I told manager unless they have proof to deduct off my account. She then informed me I am banned from this hotel. Suits me just fine So dirty and problems would never go back anyway!!!

I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service we received from Rebeca during our stay. From the moment we arrived, Rebeca was extremely attentive, helpful, and polite, always ready to assist with any need that arose. Her fluency in Portuguese was a huge advantage, as it made communication much easier and made us feel at home. In addition to the impeccable service, the hotel itself is wonderful. Everything was very clean, organized, and comfortable, which made our experience even more pleasant. My husband and I loved our stay and will definitely return! We are very thankful to Rebeca and the entire hotel staff for making our trip so special!

The day I came to this hotel was the 20th of September and my stay was 3 days. This was my first time booking with best western and I was very disappointed with my experience. I won't plan on booking here again. The Room I was assigned to was extremely dirty. The walls had black/brown stains on them, the bathroom smelled of urine, and the tub was nearly covered in black spots all around. As soon I walked in, I tried to turn the light on that was above the door, only to find out that it flickers very quickly and barely works. Also the doors to the hotel were a challenge to open. I had to run my key a good 5 or 6 times before I actually got the door open and at night, or even in general, when I've tried to lock the door I found that the locks do not work so the doors are still able to be opened even when locked. The beds had some type of bug/insect in them because every morning when I woke up, there was a new bite mark on my arms and legs. I have no clue what it was, but I constantly felt things crawling around my body. The AC did not work very well either, the room was always hot no matter what temperature I set it to. I couldn't stand being in there, so I had asked to switch rooms. The second room was more decent and clean, but my family and I stepped out to the pool for a couple hours to allow our room to be cleaned and when we came back, we discovered that the maids had been in the room, but did not clean anything. They took the trash out, and replaced our dirty towels, but the beds were not made and the floors were not swept. (there were things on the floor prior to us switching rooms.) I do suggest helping improve on the cleaning please. The tv also did not have a lot of channel selections, there was barely anything for my kids to do when we were just spending time in the hotel because there were no kid friendly channels. I ask that you please fix that also. Disney experience: My family and I had went to Disney world for a day and planned on taking a shuttle bus back to the hotel. As I was at Disney, I called front desk to ask what time their shuttles ran. I continuously got put on hold and no one would pick up the phone unless I called back with a different device or unknown number, only to get on hold again. By the time they picked up the phone. We had missed the shuttle time. I asked if that was the last shuttle for the night and the guy told me yes so I spent almost $60 on an Uber back just so we could have a ride, but when I arrived at the hotel, a lady we talked to told us that shuttles ran all the way up until Disney parks closed. I was very frustrated that the man gave me false information in which I had to spend money that was supposed to be used to feed my kids, just to get us home. I could've saved my money had I been given the correct times. I wish I could give this experience a 5 star, but it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Rafaela provided excellent customer service by assisting me with resolving an issue with my reservation. Once I got past that hurdle, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean the room was and I felt so comfortable. I suffer from severe allergies and finding a hotel room that does not trigger health issues in me is a challenge. Sleeping in the bed was great. I would definitely stay again if I need a place in Orlando.

Rafaela at the front desk was great! We got in really late at night and she made everything super quick and easy and we were in our room in minutes!the room was great with the exception of a slow flushing toilet that got clogged the morning we left. Besides that it was a great stay!

After a bad experience at another place I had a great staying at BW Orlando. Checking in late was easy and Ivo assisted us really well providing some tips on how to get to the parks and where to grab something to eat after midnight. He was very kind! The pool was great! Downside is that they only have compementary water at the gym.

This hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and very relaxing. After many activities in the area we needed a good nights sleep and found it here. Everything was perfect from the extra towels to the exceptional customer service. Carol at the front counter was a real delight and made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Best Western!

In the past month I have stayed in this hotel 3 different weekends for the Halloween event at Universal! Hotel has great location if you are going to the parks! Bedrooms are clean and beds are super comfortable! I haven't had the chance to dine at their restaurant but they are open in convenient hours, they also have a café that is open during the day when the restaurant is closed! Staff is fantastic! I had Luciana and Rebeca checked me in in different days, they gave my boyfriend and I all the needed info about the area and the hotel! Big shout out to them! I will definitely be choosing this hotel in my next visits as well!

Excellent location. Really close to Universal and a lot of restaurants and attractions. The room was clean and the mattress and the pillows were so comfortable. I loved the lobby area, looks nice! The staff is great! Especially Ivo who helped us checking in. He definitely got us off to a great start for our staying.

We had booked a hotel prior to this one which unfortunately had let us down greatly! We needed a new hotel close by asap, we booked the Best Western because we have previously stayed with them before but never in Florida Orlando. When we arrived our expectations were very low coming from that nightmare beforehand, so when we were greeted it was Amazing!!! Especially the front desk worker Ivo! He was very compassionate and friendly due to our not so great experience just before. He was very helpful, ensuring us if we needed any recommendations for restaurants/activities he'd be more happy to help. He was very thorough and helpful (We are very grateful and appreciative for your help Ivo!) . The resort was great! Our bedroom was clean & had everything you would need for your stay. It was very cozy and felt safe. The breakfast buffet was amazing! I would 1000% recommend staying here.

Great location and wonderful experience with the front desk. Ivo was helpful and answered all our questions. It made our first night on our first trip to Orlando super relaxing. Room was as described and bed was comfy. The pool was clean and the area around it was well maintained.

The hotel is very well located, close to Universal. In addition, the room is very clean and spacious, has a hairdryer and coffee maker. A special mention goes to the service, which was a 10. Ivo treated us very well and resolved all our demands. We are satisfied with our choice.

Front desk staff are amazing. Was able to get a later check out. Great room with great comfortable beds. Located so close to Universal Studios. We have stayed here many times and it feels like returning home. Near other great things to do besides going to the amusement parks!

The bartender Johny was amazing, Carol helped me and was extremely polite and patient with me during check in. Rachel in the connivence store was super sweet and the rooms were so comfortable and clean. It was amazing to see both jacuzzi's working properly this go around. A++++

Luciana was the best, from the begging to the middle to the end, her costumer service skills are top tier, me coming from the hospitality industry also (restaurant manager), I know the importance to take good care of all guests and know how hard it can be to handle all guests wishes and complains, and she did an amazing job!! Always offering us the best, and since it was my birthday, she made sure to even include some perks just for me, that made me feel so special and honestly it's pretty rare to my self to fell impressed to a customer service since I expect so much, but she did a great job and definitely made me now a customer!! I come to Orlando at least 7 times a year and I'm glad I found a hotel with points and great staff like that!!!!!

It was great! There were a few issues with the hot water in the bathroom but it was resolved swiftly by incredibly friendly staff. Namely, Luciana and Roderigo. Luciana was very sweet upon our arrival, offering us an upgrade with reasonable pricing and good restaurants in the area. She should get a raise. I've been coming to this hotel for three years now and I haven't ever regretted. Can't wait for next year! (Or maybe in a few months!)

I came to this hotel on aug.20-22 & the very nice young lady Evelyn was at the front desk was very helpful, very informative on BW hotels. Once I check in the first night, I was surprised to see her the next morning working also like she never missed a beat. Carol was also very nice & welcoming. So glad I chose my 2 night stay at this particular hotel. everyone is so nice you forget what world you living in! lvo, made the check in process quick, professional, and personal. The room was clean, comfortable an pleasant. Purchased breakfast at the cafe, reasonable price and quality. Close to attractions. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

I never write reviews but I really needed to write this one! My stay was wonderful thanks to Ivo at the front desk!! I had to arrange an early check-in due to my flight arriving earlier and he was so helpful and accommodating. He gave me a list of places to visit and restaurants to go. He also ensured I got the best room available based on what I booked and explained everything about the shuttles to parks and best transportation options to each place. Ivo genuinely cared about our stay there and made himself available for all questions and everything else we needed while we were in Orlando. The rooms were great and well cleaned, location was perfect!

Every time I come to Orlando, the Best Western Orlando Gateway is my home here. The hotel is very well located, close to everything, has a great price, and the best part is the service. The hotel reception was amazing, especially Ivo, who was very helpful and attentive, answering all our questions clearly. The breakfast was delicious and the beautiful couple in charge, Maria & Octavio, took care of us splendidly. A beautiful experience!

My stay at the hotel was wonderful. Ivo at the front desk welcomed my friend and I and was very attentive and helpful. He recommended us places and restaurantes to visit based on activities we were interested in the area and also explained to us everything about the shuttles and transportation to the parks. There was also some remodeling and improvement being done on our floor during the day, and Ivo offered to change our room to a different floor but it wasn't necessary since we weren't there during the day! Overall, we had a very good experience staying at this hotel and will absolutely stay here again.

I've arrived late and Ivo helped me and my family with a great customer service. the hotel comfortable, very cleaner and is really close to Universal parks and the free shuttle was really helpful. i would definitely book a staying once again!!!

Clean, fresh stay. Great overall experience. Excellent service, maintenance was helpful and fast service and housekeeping showed great communication as to servicing the room. My sister loved the bed pillows. Surprised that no one at the front desk knew spanish to help some guests out at that time considering this is Orlando but I was able to translate for the staff and they were fast to respond and help those guests.

Fantastic 40th birthday stay, suite was clean, staff very helpful in accommodating our extra night due to our flight cancellation. Luciana was fantastic and eased our stress and went out of her way to assist us! Fantastic location and easy access. You can walk to Universal from here in 30 minutes

Very clean room, comfortable beds!!! The reception is very friendly in especial LUCIANA, she is so nice and very helpful ❤️. The pool area is so clean and warm i love it. Close to all the parks very convenient. Will for sure come back next time in Orlando.

My experience with Best Western Orlando Gateway was theeee best and Luciane was the greatest. I would definitely recommend this hotel and also visit again. Great location, food and service hands down. If you in Orlando I'd advise that you check them out.

Good location close to Universal Park and a restaurant area (5 min drive). Staff in general was very helpful, sharing with us some locations for dinner and to get around. Ivo attended us at the check in and he gave us all the help needed with lots of patience.

Luaana the manager helped me out so much when I arrived after my flight was cancelled than been awake for 48 hours during a international flight it helped having someone so nice to help me out and upgraded my room so I had a more comfortable stay

We had a great experience at this Best Western, John and Nate at the front-desk were especially courteous and helpful, providing food and recreational recommendations to try over the duration of our stay. They had clean rooms and great amenities

We are diamond plus members. used points. room rate low but the charges were high. as customary with Best western breakfast is included, but not at this location. we were requested to pay $14.99 for breakfast. the hotel staff was nice rooms clean etc.

We arrived at the hotel in the early morning, IVO helped us with our reservation, he was very friendly, with excellent customer service. People like him are the ones who help a company to keep customers coming back. Congratulations to the hotel for having a STAFF as him.

The hotel has nice comfortable rooms, with everything needed, a nice large pool, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Good value and better experience compared the more expensive "resort hotels" next door.

Nathan and Ivo welcomed us and were very attentive and friendly. They certainly made our experience special. Everything was very well explained in a quick and practical way. The hotel in general pleased us, only the room that left something to be desired in relation to the A/C that had an unpleasant smell.

Theo hotel has a fantastic location, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff team is always super friendly. Nathan and Ivo were great, I was very well attended, great service! The room is basic but is all you need, I stayed one night, everything was clean. The location is almost perfect, 7 minutes away from the Volcano Bay and very close to all you need, there is a Walmart 9 minutes away.

Great staff (Luciana is the best!) great location next to universal studios, but not expect a lot about the room. A little dirty, old furniture, shower is ok but needs a renovation in general ! Hope I didn't find any bed bugs, just a little insect…

Symei was amazing. She assisted me with my check in and was phenomenal. I arrived really late around 10:00……………………………:upon arrival symei provided great service and clear instructions she even explained the map which was very helpful as the property is kinda big

We are so thankful to Nathan for the way he received us at check-in! We had such a bad experience at a different hotel that we cancelled our reservation there and booked at Best Western. We arrived disappointed and frazzled but Nathan instantly put us at ease with his warm welcome, kindness and efficiency. He was even so patient and gracious while I had to deal with cancellation aftermath from the previous hotel. Not only was he so welcoming and professional, he decided to upgrade us, complimentary, to make up for the bad experience that he wasn't even responsible for. When we got to our room it was nice and clean and we got just the perfect amount of TLC and service. We had a few extra requests further into our stay and again, we were received with such courtesy by Nathan, Luciana and Sumei. We definitely know where we will be booking next time we come!! A very big thank you to Nathan, Lucian's and Symei for turning a disaster into we wonder stay!!

Our stay was great. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help us get checked in early after disembarking the cruise ship and we even were able to get a room upgrade. We would definitely stay here again.

Always stay at this hotel then walk over to dockside for their food and transportation. I love getting free rooms and cheap nights.

Nice clean. Room . nice pool and Jacuzzi. Staff friendly. Very close to everything. We went to sea world. Less than 10 miles away. Would very much recommend.

Luciana at the front desk was very welcoming. Room was clean and had a very nice stay. Asked for a ground floor room if available and request was granted. Will be staying here again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Orlando area.

Highly recommended if you are traveling to Universal Studios! The experience here was made incredible by Luciana! She treated my wife and I with the highest level of hospitality possible, smiles, travel advice, very contagious positive energy and professionalism. I love the way Luana had so much joy when she checked me into my room. The hotel and very clean and well kept. The room is very big and spacious so you don't feel cramped up. I like the fact it has usb charging ports just in case you left your block…..

I had a great experience at the Orlando Gateway location. Luciana was very welcoming and helpful with getting me settled in. My room was very comfortable and clean. The coffee bar and restaurant are nice conveniences. I would stay here again.

I travel for business and I stay here often. Luciano and Rebecca always make it easy for me. Very helpful. They remember me and all my preferences and go out of their way to make the stay convenient, restful and stress free. When your in a resort area it is sometimes difficult to find a crew that adapt to the needs of a business traveler.

The hotel was great for the price. Very nice view as well. Luciana at the front desk was really good to work with as well! Very personable. She even upgraded our room just because. Was checked in and out within seconds. Definitely would recommend. 5 stars! ⭐️

Lucian's was great and very thorough and informative and was very hospitable!!! She sold us an upgrade room and it was worth it with the view of the lake and Universal Studios. She also provided us with several Brazilian Restaurants that we were interested in dining at.

Very pleased with the customer service at the deli and the front desk of this hotel. Rachael, in the deli, works constantly at getting orders done and making sure the customer is thoroughly happy. She even took time to ask us how our vacation was going when she had a short break.

The hotel is nice and clean! We go there often, the staff is very attentive. The parks are just around the corner. The pool area is big, the gym is just what you need when you are away from home. If you get, hungry, the Deli is right there at the main floor.

I enjoyed my stay for 3 days it was a wonderful experience. My girl RACHEL from the deli took care of me my whole stay just to make sure I ate very good. She looked out for me and my son, she's a very caring and loving person. I wish it was more people like her on earth! This is a great hotel to visit for a reasonable price! I love it here!

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is very nicely located (close to International Dr) and had options of food and beverages on the lobby. The staff was so kind and caring like I haven't seen in a while. Honorable mentions to Evelyn. She helped me with questions I had and made my staying at Best Western even better. It's nice to feel that someone cares and does everything one can to help with unsolved matters.

Needed a place to stay last minute on a very busy Orlando weekend and we love Best Western Premiere & Plus locations so we thought this might be ok. We were wrong. This hotel has a very seedy clientele and feels unsafe. The lady at check in was nice and offered an upgrade for our $20 a night. She said this would be in the newer remodeled part of the hotel and is higher up therefore quieter part of the hotel. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The room was just ok, nothing special and a little worn and dated. The bathroom was pretty yucky with mold in the shower. But the worst thing was our neighbors in the connecting room. Apparently some people were having a wild drug or alcohol induced sex party. And they were loud, so loud we could hear everything. And at all hours of the night that was unacceptable. Around 1am we knocked on their door, no answer. By 2:00am we couldn't take it anymore, this had been going on for hours so my daughter banged on the connecting door and yelled to stfu. But that didn't stop them so around 3am I had to call the front desk. They were super fast responding and we had no more issues that night. The people hanging around the hotel were also pretty sketchy, people were just lingering around the parking lot, smoking weed and hanging out. I just didn't feel safe there with my daughter. We will not be going back.

My wife and I stayed for five days in this hotel in a vacation trip to visit the Disney and Universal Parks. It was a very nice stay, The hotel is very good, close to Universal Studios and other points of interest. The staff was very kind, especially Rachel from the Deli shop. We really recommend this hotel for other couples and family

We were kind of skeptical due to the fact that best western is hit and miss with their quality of partners, HOWEVER! In this case thanks to EVELYN it was a worry free expirence. She let us look at all 3 types of rooms prior to booking to ensure that the rooms met our standards. She also help me find some of the more in depth discounts to maximize our spending budget on attractions and not just our stay. She was very helpful and very kind! Thank you Evelyn for making our first trip to Orlando a positive and friendly expirence!

Rachael in the deli made our stay wonderful she's so welcoming. Makes everyone feel great walking past 10/10 hotel. If your traveling and looking for somewhere cheap I highly recommend best western staff, rooms and the views and pool outside are beautiful.

There was a power outage, with very limited assistance from hotel! Daughter sprained her wrist, carrying luggage down the stairs! Have a picture of room not being cleaned! That was what we saw in the dark, can only imagine what we would have seen if the power was on! Had to use cell phone flashlight to make it to our room and back down the to lobby! Lack of lighting and assistance by hotel employees created a dangerous environment both physically and mentally! (A lot of potential for crime/ assault) Unable to enjoy any amenities of the hotel!

We were very well attended by Nathan, Evelyn and Stefane. They were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Everyone who works at this hotel is very friendly, especially Nathan, who was very polite and welcomed us very well.

Great and very friendly service from Luciana, Evelyn and Rafaela. The rooms were very nice and extra clean. Receptionist service is the best. They upgraded my room and I was welcomed back. I plan to stay again next time. Everyone is amazing!

I really enjoyed my stay here. My family and I went to Seaworld and Universal. The hotel was nice and the room we stayed in was clean. All of the staff were nice, especially the lady in the deli section Rachael. Every time we went down there, she made sure we got what we wanted and were satisfied. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Florida and will return to this hotel when we come back.

Overall we had a decent stay. I love how close it is universal studios. It's literally a straight shot 5 mins down the road. The shuttle is useless if you want to get there for early admission to the park which was included with our hotel stay. They don't even come till maybe 7 and you have to reserve them. Which for early admission you will want to be at the park by 7. So I paid for parking everyday at the park. The front desk staff was nice. There is a hotel fee you have to pay that is $15 a day that I wasn't aware of so you're basically paying for parking there as well. Breakfast is NOT included but they do have a restaurant in the building. They didn't open early enough for us to try it so I can't review it. The room had a slight old smell but once I turned the ac on it went away. The ac to me personally was not as loud as some people were complaining about. It actually helped me sleep cause I am used to noise. The bed is slightly uncomfortable because it's on the hard side and I am used to softer beds. The pillows ARE NOT PILLOWS! They are the size of a throw pillow for a couch. Bring your own!! I was so tried I still slept though so it served its purpose. The sheets were clean and the floors were clean but could've been mopped a little better. The sink in the bathroom was nice and clean and the bathroom itself was clean. The shower pressure was fine. I wouldn't have taken a bath though didn't seem clean enough for that. Their little hair dryer worked fine. The fridge worked fine. You do get fresh towels every single day which was nice but house keeping only comes every 3 days as long as you fill out their form requesting it. That's a bummer cause that's a part of the hotel that I think should be everyday. Day 3 we ended up having a huge leak in our room with puddles of water on the floor. We called the front desk and they were very nice and sent someone rid it away. Once the maintenance fixed the problem he called housekeeping himself to come clean up everything and we didn't have any issues after that. The door to our room didn't go all the way to the floor so we had light shining in from the hallway at night and you can definitely hear people. I would stay here again though cause the price was better than most.

Had a great experience. Quick and simple checkin/checkout. Comfortable beds and pillows. Accommodated late checkout. Best part of my stay was my experience with Rachael, who works in the little shop/deli. She was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back and refer this hotel.

This is my favorite hotel. We travel here every year. I love Symei. She is such a professional always giving us the most care and best room. I really appreciate her. The service is always excellent and we never have any problems in our room or on hotel ground.

Great location 5 mins from Universal. Rooms are spacious and clean. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice try the waffles. Friendly attentive staff. Shout out to Rachel Octavia and Maria. Good facilities, used both the pool and fitness centre

Room was very nice and clean. Luciana at front desk was extremely helpful, friendly and got us to our room quickly and painlessly. Wish that Sharkey & Jack's was open past 10pm. Pool and hot tubs were clean and wonderful for relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed our Orlando visit.

We spent the night before our early flight at this hotel; and, received exceptional customer service from the front desk ladies, Luciana, Symei and Rebeca. They were all very welcoming and professional, offering a quick check in (which makes such a difference when you are tired from a long drive). The hotel is in a central area, with lots of parking, reliable wifi and a good coffee shop. Our room was spacious, clean and beds comfortable. We really appreciated that they don't use single use toiletries anymore, and instead have a good brand of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a convenient dispenser. It's certainly a nice hotel with reasonable rates. Only downside is that they don't offer breakfast included with your stay (but, they offer a good coffee shop in the lobby)

5/5 stars for Rachel in the Deli! So helpful and gave us directions when made wait for our room! Definitely a good place to rest our heads quick while at the parks.. close to lots and Ubers everywhere! Thank you guys again and hopefully we'll be back soon(:
