Best Western Ocean City Hotel & Suites

The place was the dirtiest best western I've ever stayed in. I stayed there last year so they may have improved things but I would never stay again at this point. For the same money, you can stay in a dozen different places in Ocean City, which are superior with better views and amenities. And certainly cleaner.

Strongly consider looking for another hotel. I have stayed at this hotel before and never experienced any issues. This visit I had an issue with the parking and asked the desk clerk to speak to the manager. The manager refused to speak to me and was on the property. Possibly in the office behind the front desk. No solution was offered. The breakfast that was offered was horrible. On the four mornings we stayed we had to go out for breakfast it was so bad.

A group of college friends have been getting together each September for golf for the past 30 years. This was our first time staying at the BW Suites. Rooms were excellent, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The price for the rooms was much less than we had paid at other locations. It was definitely a price performer and would stay there again.

Great hotel. Covered and open parking. Good size lot for midtown. Located close the bridge and walking distance to many restaurants & bars. Staff is courteous & helpful. Breakfast in the am. Hotel has upgraded a bit during the last few years. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Not bad for the money but for one reason or another I caught an allergy attack in which it has never happened before. I stay here every September for bike week but this one wasn't as good as the others. I can see the filters were dirty so every time I went to the room I couldn't breathe but when I left I was fine

Stayed at the best western last weekend. Hotel staff are amazing, very friendly and helpfull as soon as you step into the hotel. We had a Queen suite was more than enought room for our party which made our stay very comfy.

Room was not clean and had bad smell. We had to clean the room ourselves. We had to leave one day earlier than what we paid. Breakfast was a mess. 200 people trying to eat in a small hall. Not worth the money paid.

The bathroom was dirty , the hotel halls have a very bad odor. I ended up leaving early due to the hotel cleanliness. Unfortunately was unable to get a reimbursement for the days I didn't use the rooms . I would not recommend !

Hotel was clean, complimentary breakfast was decent. We loved the hotel was close to restaurants and Dunkin, mini golf and a souvenir shop. Also a very quick walk to the beach (which was way more less crowded then the beach is along boardwalk). The drive was quick to get to boardwalk (just 5 mins). Overall, our only complaint was the beds not being super comfy but they definitely weren't the worst we've ever experienced. Would definitely stay here again!

When I made my reservation online, I requested a quiet room away from the elevator. My request my denied. On the day we were to arrive, I requested an early check-in. Again, my request was declined. Our only complaint about our stay/room was that the sheets were scratchy. It felt like we were sleeping on sand.

Nice location, friendly staff, beach is across the street, many places are walking distance, a bus stop is close by, it's not close to the boardwalk so having a car is a good idea, breakfast is served every morning, a pool would be nice, parking lots are close. I requested a crib was guaranteed one but didn't have one in the room when I arrived. It was not a big deal. The room space is nice and I'm glad we stayed here.

Worst hotel! There is no lobby or nice communal area. The hallways and elevators have no A/C and smell like fish. It was the furnace of hell. They don't have regular housekeeping service, just “tidy service” and swap out towels, but leave sand all over the floor. The only thing appealing is that the rooms are a good size for a family, but nothing worthy beyond that. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

The place needs an update. Not terrible but could be so much better. We got a room last minute and the staff was great. They made the stay so much better. Small cleaning issues when we checked in. But nothing to get worked up about.

It was a last minute trip. Just to get away for a couple days. Hotel was clean worker were nice. Breakfast was good. We love that it's a block away from the beach. We didn't have to go far to restaurants. Everything you need is near. I highly recommend this hotel. We will stay again.

4/5 because, while clean and reliable, this hotel has the absolute worst hotel breakfast anywhere ever. The (watery, from powder) eggs are inedible, the from frozen pancakes are dry/crusty around the edges, the chicken sausage is slimy, and the "sunny side" eggs are also crusty around the edges/not real eggs/definitely from frozen. They do have plain bagels, bread for toast, peanut butter, apples and oranges, and cold cereal so I was able to get some sustenance in the mornings. I tossed a plate or two of food when I couldn't stomach it. Even with the breakfast being included, our crew of 18 found themselves going out to eat in the mornings. We stayed here a couple of summers ago and thought the awful breakfasts were due to covid. Not the case. Now for the good - this hotel is clean, you can't hear the people in the room next to yours, good shower pressure/temperature, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, plenty of parking, great location, and friendly staff. The only thing I can knock them for is the breakfast.

Hotel was clean and very welcoming . Close to the beach and a few stores. Also close to Seacrets. Breakfast at the hotel was a plus. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Looking forward to coming back next year

Great location. Room is clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Bed is very comfortable Breakfast menu needs more choices. Optimal parking spaces. Definitely needs a waffle maker. Room308 bathroom sink needs drain work.

I don't recommend anyone to book this hotel. the room was not cleaned at all it was so expensive and not cleaned compared with the money I paid I was not satisfied with the room price and the standard of the room.

No pool but that didn't bother us the beach is right down the street. The bus stop is right by the hotel. There is shops.a little store restaurants near very nice area.next door is a restaurant a little pricey but they have bowling an games for kids to play an win prizes. A shop with shirts an stuff right down the if you needed something fast.

Hotel was very clean. Rooms were spacious. We had adjoining rooms which made things easier. Nice pool with a lift chair which allowed my 95 year old mom to enjoy the pool for the first time in over 40 years. Staff was very friendly and professional. Restaurant had great food and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there for our next visit.

The room was very clean and a good size. Plenty of room for everyone to move around. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is wonderful. Right in the middle of town. You can walk to several good restaurants and amenities.

It is hard to associate the Best Western brand with this hotel location. The brightest spot about my week-long stay was the staff, and nothing else. Even the Internet access was spotty. I had to warn my daughters from touching the walls of our bedroom because from an angle, it was easy to see why from the reflection of light. There were forever stains on some of the furniture. The bathroom was extremely tight there's barely room for the door to swing open. There's a permanent acrid smell from the carpeting, such that lying on the edge of the bed assaults the node. The bedding has seen better days and the pillows were adequate for a dollhouse.

Some relatives from upstate New York were coming to the Delmarva area for vacation. They had never been to the Ocean City/Bethany Beach region before, and of course, OCMD is my favoerite northeast Atlantic coast beach. So even though they were staying in Delaware, i chose to stay here. The room was nice and clean. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff was just so nice and friendly. I might just stay here the next time I am in town.

Room was very spacious and clean. Everything was in good working order (no issues with tub, shower, air conditioner, fridge etc.) The continental breakfast that was offered was very nice. All of the staff were friendly and helpful! Definitely will stay again!

Good breakfast that is included, clean rooms, cold A/C, good sized rooms, noise free rooms. Parking easy as well. On bay side but close walk to beach, convenience store, putt putt, fractured prune and Johnny's pizza.

Stayed here for the first time, for 3 nights. Front desk staff are very friendly and welcoming. Check-in was easy and quick. Breakfast was very good - consisted of fruit, scrambled egg, pancakes, French toast, cereal etc. Cleaning staff are very friendly and obliging. Location is excellent and the rooms are very spacious. Hotel does not have a pool which was fine seeing as though the beach is literally across Coastal Hwy. The ONLY downside was the carpet in the corridors - looks like it has been there for many, many years (dirty and discoloured). Would stay here again.

Stayed here for a sand soccer tournament. The room was clean and plenty of space for 2 of us. We had a small living area with a refrigerator and microwave and then the bedroom area. Hotel was close enough to walk to the beach and stores.

Excellent Hotel. We have been coming back to the same hotel for many years. Familiar faces when during our stay. Good breakfast, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Walking distance to Secrets, Mackey's, Fagar Island, and Sky Bar.

I enjoyed the room and the food. Although it was very hot in our room and seemed the AC did not go below 69 which was annoying as it was very humid and gross outside. Had a very hard time sleeping because of the heat.

Was amazing. Staff are incredible. Never staying anywhere else. Not only were the staff kind, warm, and welcoming, the place was clean, and I had no issues. Felt very safe with COVID safety and the location was great! Next to fun activities, food, and beach. Going back next weekend due to experience being wonderful.

I always stay at the best western hotel Plus but this time i stayed down at the other best western hotel and i always enjoy myself . i love that it's a place called ailly oops right next door where you can take your children and grandchildren you can play games eatin and have alot of fun

Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious. Rooms had coffee maker, fridge and microwave.Free breakfast was great with a variety of options for children and adults. Parking was convenient, on premise.

Excellent hotel, best customer service! I'd highly recommend this hotel to family and friends. We've stayed here for the past 10 years, always a great experience. Grateful for the people who continue to make our trip to this hotel more enjoyable every year!

I had a Queen suite for my family, and the beds were atrocious. There were yellow stains, which I assumed to be urine on the sheets in both beds. When I took off the sheets, the urine stains soaked through to the mattress. In addition to the urine stains on the mattress, there were long hairs on the blankets. This room looked like it wasn't cleaned in months. I complained to the front desk and they said there were no other rooms available. I told them that I'm not sleeping on urine stains or anybody else's DNA/body fluid stains. They found a room for us at the Best Western Plus a block away. When I got there, one of the beds had yellow urine stains on the sheets. It didn't seep into the mattress this time, so all that was needed was clean linens, which were changed after I complained to the front desk again. If you stay at a Best Western, make sure you check the linens before you sleep in the beds. This stay is a one and done for me. I will not stay at another Best Western. They are too dirty for me.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. We went on an impromptu trip to the beach and wanted a room for a night. The location was excellent, the room was very spacious and clean and, all the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. We came early and were able to park in the lot to go to the beach. They actually called around 12:30 letting us know that the room was ready early. Although we didn't eat breakfast it was nice to have coffee in the morning. This was a nice, clean, and reasonably priced room.

Paid $932 for 3 nights and there wasn't a pool, had to chase people down for clean towels, tub was kind of dirty when we got there. I definitely could have stayed at a different hotel for way less! Just disappointed.

The Bowling Alley/ Arcade/Restaurant next to the Hotel has great food. Their were live sharks in the fish tank. Awesome. A great place for breakfast was the Sunrise Dinner. Located right before you walk on the board. The Breakfast Burritos were awesome, and the French Toast was Great. Must visit.

The hotel is a little older but in good shape. We stayed here because of price and I felt that it was a good value for the money. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and responded to any and all of our needs. The free breakfast is a nice feature and adults and the kids enjoyed it. Saved us a lot of money not having to go out each day for breakfast.

I would highly recommend this BW hotel. Breakfast was delicious, well stocked, and kept clean. The front desk staff was friendly and the cleaning personal were outgoing. Rooms and hotel are clean. Great location to walk to area restaurants. One block from beach. I have been staying at this hotel for years. One negative is the TV could have been bigger.

Hotel was clean (pretty much all I ask for in a hotel). Front desk staff was nice. They all took to time to listen to my chatty 3,5, and 7 year old. We did not try the breakfast because area seemed to be crowded when we went. Location is great.

The staff here was GREAT. They made our stay a phenomenal experience. We recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean, friendly, fun and welcoming stay. We felt like we were in the heart of everything even though we were not on the boardwalk.

The Staff was super friendly, nice, accommodating, helpful - you name it all! It is what really made our stay super awesome. The cleaning staff asked us how the room was, if it was clean, and if there was anything we needed. I just felt like everyone genuinely cared about our stay/experience. Only giving it a 4/5 because it's not the nicest place around but location + price is great compared to other places in OC. Definitely recommend!

I paid $79 a night and feel that was fair for the area mid week. Staff were courteous especially the lady running the breakfast on 5-20. The breakfast was great with varied hot and cold choices. Fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, cereal and pancakes. It was nice to have a breakfast after Covid precautions easing up. I also worked out in the gym which was ok considering the price of the room.

Found this place on Groupon, and it was worth finding. Great centralized location to everything at the beach. There were great restaurants & plenty of things to do, all within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again.

Easy to find and close enough the action. Love the suite with the small whirlpool tub. Will consider when we go back. May look at the other rooms they offer. Customer service was great had flowers delivered and was 8n the room waiting when we returned

I want to take a few minutes to say wow! We stayed at the hotel 15-19 for a softball tournament. I am a clean freak I brought my own cleaning stuff, sheets and blankets. But I didn't need to use them. They're team we're selling on top of things keeping things spotless during this Covid. I was very nervous and concerned going there having a previous bad experience at it differently named hotel. So to see this was so nice. It was not just one person cleaning it was a team and to see what they did made me feel so comfortable about staying. If I asked for extra towels or anything They were right on top of it. The front desks people where amazing as well! breakfast started little later and we would leave early for our tournament and they would have bags ready to had to us. It was just a really nice Experience and I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on a brief three day getaway for my birthday. This is a good location at midtown OC, you can walk to Seacrets and Mackey's and there is a great place next door ally oops. It is bayside so you have to cross the street to get to the beach, but it's affordable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. When we first checked in we dealt with Ritchie who was wonderful. He always had a smile on his face when we saw him in the hotel. Everyone else we encountered was very pleasant too. They were constantly cleaning the common areas. Everyone wore a mask. There is no buffet breakfast, you do get a bagged breakfast in the am which has a piece of fruit, a breakfast bar and a muffin and you can get juice, coffee, yogurt and cereal in the breakfast room. I understand this was due to COVID but do wish there was a hot breakfast option. They made us aware there would be no housekeeping during our visit but that was okay. The housekeepers knocked on the doors and offered more towels and we took them up on it. The room was clean, and mostly modern with the exception of the bathroom which was in need of some updating. The room is large and has a couch and a desk. The only negatives were the wi fi was useless so don't rely on that. It was free but I could barely check email on it. Also it was very noisy. It felt like there were elephants above us and there were constantly kids running up and down the hallways screaming, early in the am and later than one would think in the evening. On the last night there I was kept up at night by very loud booming music outside which was more bout the location than the hotel.

The front desk team was absolutely amazing. They greeted me each time I came in and remembered me throughout my entire stay. I had a few issues but Alexis the manager was great in finding a solution to my problems. Thanks to the manager and front office team I will definitely consider returning in the future!

First the online pictures showed a pool, there was no pool. The mattresses moved way to easy. The one front desk person gave lots of missinformation about the breakfast which lead to another desk person being really rude about it all. For the price (which was outrageous by the way) I would never stay again. If it wasn't for getting my parents to be at an important wedding I wouldnt have gone.

Desk personnel were absolutely wonderful. Very friendly, remembered me from past stays. Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice place in OC, MD. I love coming back year after year. Always very nice, clean.

I usually stay at Best Westerns when I travel if they are available. We've stayed at this Best Western several times over the years and have always been pleased. The staff are friendly and helpful. I did notice on this trip that certain things (on the third floor appear to be getting tired and worn....corridor carpeting, wallpaper and a few things in the room. I would still recommend the hotel and plan to stay at this location in the future.

This hotel was very reasonable, clean and quiet. The room was quite clean, with nice towels, coffee, a large refrigerator for a hotel room, a microwave, a nice granite countertop for food prep, a fold-out couch and coffee table.

VEry nice room with fridge and microwave and coffee pot Breakfast was better then expected and FREE wifi also included although not very fast but is FREE as well. For the price I would not hesitate to stay again.

If your lookong for a nice place to stay with a good price & a good hot breakfast in the morning this is a good one! The staff was great and the place was clean and had all the amenities you need for a good stay. A short walk to the beach or to the nightlife.

The Best Western never fails to deliver great service. We had another wonderful visit at the Hotel. The booking was smooth and easy. Check in was a breeze. Alexis's staff was always friendly, helpful and courteous. Our king suite was lovely. We had two wonderful rooms with a television in each room. The rooms were very clean and pretty. My favorite place to stay in Ocean City because the Hotel offers you so much value for your money. The location is great and close to everything. Parking is very easy with minimal walking. We found that the Best Western runs a nice quiet Hotel and is great for a variety of guests. Families, couples, seniors, business associates, individuals and of course young adults are all welcomed. The Hotel offers a great Courtesy breakfast and it saves time and avoids the crowded restaurants. The manager and staff strives hard to please. They go the extra mile in Hotel Hospitality with great service and it shows. Thank you for always making our visit wonderful. See you again in the near future.

We were under the impression that we would have a view of the sound when we booked this hotel. Unless you are on the 5th floor (the highest level available) don't plan on seeing anything. The hotel itself was clean and the desk staff were very nice. This hotel does not provide breakfast since there is a cafe on the premises. Another item that was not well advertised. Disappointing since BW is known for providing their guest with breakfast.

I stay at this Best Western on Coastal Highway every year, for the last 5 years and although I have acquired more affordable units, my husband and I continue to come back here to stay and have never been disappointed! Looking foward to year #6...

The Best Western was absolutely clean; the bed was comfortable; individual controlled thermostat ws nice as the temperature fluctuated from needing heat at night and AC during the daytime; the staff friendly; the breakfasts were good and plentiful.

If you wanna go to a very unprofessional place, come here! We called before we took the trip to ocean city to ask if there was any available rooms and the person who answered the phone said yes. After that I asked if could I bring my emotional support dog with me, and he said that I only had to bring the paper work. When we got there he denied us a room, we explain that we had already spoke to him. I understand the fact that they don't allow pets, but that's the reason we called and asked. I think it's very unprofessional to agree, and when we show up for who knows what reason he decided to change his mind. Very bad customer service. DO NOT recommend.

My friends and I loved it! It's only 1,000 feet from the beach, you just have to cross Philadelphia Avenue to get there. The boardwalk inlet parking is about 3 miles away but you can always find more parking along the way. It's clean and convenient for families that want to spend all day outside, like at the beach (which is more private where this hotel is located, not as cramped as on the boardwalk) and mini golfing. The only complaint I have is they don't have paper TV guide (it's Channel 7).

This older hotel could use some updating however the location was great for our purposes. Close to the beach, close to restaurants and stores, close to bus stop for trip to boardwalk. We found trash left in our room from previous guests and our trash wasn't removed by the cleaning staff after our second day. But all in all, this place worked for us for this trip.

The front was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean. Conveniently located near the convention center. The breakfast was more than a continental breakfast. There were eggs and sausage along with pastries and toast.

We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. The room was very large. The area with the sofa bed is sort of situated in its own area. There is some privacy between the bed area and sofa area which is nice. The room was clean. The beds were so so. Not bad but not great. Water pressure in the shower could have been better. Doesn't have a great view. No balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel is only 4 floors but there is only one elevator that takes forever. We ended up taking the stairs most of the time. Lots of free parking spots. There is no pool. The free breakfast was decent. There is a good selection of foods to choose from. It was good enough for free. Although it does get crowded and there is not a lot of available seating. So you'll either stand around waiting for a table or take the food back to your room. You will have to cross Coastal Hwy to get to the beach. The location is good. Close to a lot of food and shops. Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, beer shop, Candy Kitchen. You can walk to Macky's which is a wonderful restaurant. Overall it's a good hotel for price, location and cleanliness. I would stay here again.

Located just across the street, easy walk to the beach. Surrounded by a variety of restaurants and next door to a mini-golf. This was a great, affordable place for my family of 5 for a quick overnight beach vacation.

Our room 220 was over the fitness room and we had problems with the noise from the air conditioning unit below us. It was extremely loud and it vibrated the floor when it was running. We were unable to take a nap. Every night we had to call the front desk about it and they said when everyone was out of the fitness room they would shut it off. Also the ice machine was close by in the hall, making noise. Our room was clean except for the tub and toilet.The walls looked freshly painted and it was a nicely decorated. The beds were a bit worn. We had fresh towels every day and the room was kept clean. The carpet was older , but they had a newer hardwood flooring in the entrance way and bathroom. It looked nice. We recommend getting to breakfast early as it gets crowded and the breakfast area is small. The lady cooking was friendly. The hotel was conveniently located to everything. Over all this place was a good deal for the money, for the time of year we were staying. When we checked out the man at the front desk said he'd have the manager contact us about the noise from the air conditioning unit in the fitness room. He knew we were unhappy about it. He said that they want us to be happy with our visit. The manager never contacted me. So I guess the manager didn't care if we had a good visit and that we were happy.

This was a inexpensive place that we enjoyed. Close to the beach and close to the shops and eateries. Its a little dated but for us it fit the bill since we just wanted to be close to everything for a good price.

We stayed at the Best Western for a night in Ocean City because we decided to extend our vacation by a day. So, we booked the hotel at the last minute. I haven't stayed in a BW for a long time, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel was clean upon arrival, and was located in a decent spot in OC. The receptionists were polite, and got us our room keys quickly. Upon entering our room, it was sizable, with plenty of room for the six of us. There was adequate space to put our luggage, and stretch out. The room was clean, and everything was as advertised. The complimentary breakfast was decent. It had a good variety of things, but no more than would be expected for a free breakfast. The staff preparing the breakfast were friendly, and the food was refilled quickly. Overall, for the price, the size of the room, and the complimentary breakfast, I would definitely come back to this hotel for a quick stay, but because of a lack of convenient beach access, and its location, I would opt to stay at another resort, or condominium for a longer-term stay.

We continue to book our vacation at his particular hotel. Its very clean and tidy. The people are very cordial there. They serve a great breakfast. Its really fun...the folks there are just like family. We love to see them every year. Our family would totally recommend this Best Western.

This hotel offers all the amenities needed to have a great time in Ocean City. I have been staying here for the last 3 years, 2-3 times per summer. The people are great. I will be returning soon, August 2019.

We booked the BW because it was one of the few hotels available on our dates and because of the great price. When we got there I realized two of the reasons for the great price might have been the lack of balconies and the dated-looking exterior. It may not be the prettiest hotel in OC but once you're inside you'll find everything you need for a great stay: a friendly and professional staff, a free continental+ breakfast (the plus for some hot items that are served daily), free Wi-Fi, jetted tubs and, most importantly, the beach across the street. I could go on for a long time about the other amenities and the advantage of BW's central location, but it's the people who put this hotel in my top 5. From making the reservation until the time we left, James made us feel like we were his only guests. James is the first front desk staff member to personally come directly to our room to make sure everything was ok (it was)! He and fellow front desk attendent, Ritchie, also made great recommendations for restaurants and activities. And I have to give special praise to Mrs. Martha, who works the breakfast area. Without going into detail, she showed a lot of patience after a young child made a mess while in the line. Yes, kids make messes, but the child's parents acted as though Mrs. Martha was their personal slave and therefore no apology or even *offer* to help should be expected from them. As soon as it was possible, Mrs. Martha quietly and efficiently worked her way around the other guests to clean up the mess. After Mrs. Martha went back to work behind the counter, I told her that she showed more patience than I would have. James, Richie, Mrs. Martha and also Paige, the Housekeeping Manager, made our stay one of the most relaxing we've ever had and we'll *definitely* be returning.

Drove in from BWI, stayed just one night. We had two teenage granddaughters along, and it worked out great. Quiet well air conditioned and plenty ou space. Breakfast was included, but we had too much to do. I had a senior moment and forgot my favorite pillow, they worked with me and provided the phone number to have it picked up and shipped. Very nice folks at the desk, which is rare these days....we'll be back.

We have come to this hotel for about 10 years, and I always feel at home when I come. Everyone is friendly. The beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast are good-lots of variety. Right in the center of everywhere that you want to go to.

A good value for family trip. Large room with separate sitting area, 2 tvs. Allowed us to spread out a bit after many hours at the beach. Its a mile or so to main boardwalk area, but beach access is across the street.

I am giving the BW a 4 1/2, better than a 4 but not quite 5. We have never stayed here and they were offering a buy 2/get 1 night free promo that happened just at the time we were planning a trip. Got into town a little late (nearly 7 p.m.) on Sunday evening and were greeted warmly by James . What a great friendly face to make you feel welcome after a long, long day. He should train others! I had asked for a higher floor room towards the back of the hotel, and we were accommodated. The hotel all over was clean, bright, didn't look at all run down outside or inside. The halls were clean, new carpeting, and well lit. We opened our door and the room too was large, clean, and well kept up. Didn't have signs of wear at all. Bathroom was large enough, ceiling fan worked, and there was a full size countertop. ONLY complaint here is that the toilet was so low to the ground that both my husband and myself had difficulty sitting down without holding onto the counter. We are in our late 60's and early 70's. But the beds were very comfy, 4 pillows on each bed (soft and firm), the air conditioner was quiet enough for sleeping and worked well. Curtains were clean and fresh too. Free breakfast in the morning was your typical hotel breakfast of eggs, sausage, assorted breads and bagels, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and fruit cups and fruit juices, coffee, and milk. Plenty of choices to start your day. Everything was fresh and what should be hot was hot, and vice versa. Somehow, our room was missed being straightened up on our second day there, but as soon as I mentioned it, it was handled promptly by Leanne who was very friendly and fun to talk to. All of the workers there were friendly, said hello, and asked if they could get us anything. The only reason I gave them a 1/2 point less than 5 was because the hotel was supposed to be no dogs, but there was one there that someone was perhaps trying to pass off as a service dog, but if it was, it was very poorly trained, and not trained like any service dog I've been around. So I think they pulled the wool over someone's eyes here. I would definitely stay here again though. Very nice.

We are reward members at best Western hotels. So we were given a free stay certificate and decided to use in Ocean city for Crusin event. Since our condo checkin wasn't until Friday. We stayed here for Thursday night. Great place. Awesome staff. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast in am are amazingly delicious. There was a lady in the kitchen who makes the best sausage gravy. She is so pleasant and always smiling as serving the guests some bacon. I wish I caught her name. The hotel is conveniently located on Coastal highway. Definitely would recommend. Make sure you try the awesome biscuits and gravy.

My husband and I booked another visit at the Best Western in O.C. Alexis the manager runs a wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet. The decor is pretty and comfortable. Parking is available on site. The first night of our stay we experienced a very loud and noisy neighbor. We called downstairs and within five minutes they handled the problem. I thanked the morning desk clerk for such a quick solution. I was told management handles all situations quickly and with a no nonsense policy. Another good reason that I love this hotel. The place is a great place for families and couples. I feel like I am out of the loud party scene. We will visit again soon as the hotel offers the best in price, cleanliness, amenities, free breakfast, quietness, and a great staff to deal with. What more could you ask for?

We had a groupon for 2 nights on the weekend for 150 bucks so decided to go for it. I was surprised it's an older building but well kept. It had just one elevator so used steps often. It was clean and no strange odor was noticed. Our window did leak a little bit but it had rained heavily over night. The bed was probably the weakest point. It was not even level slopped with your feet above your head. But all and all I would say it's fine but it's not 3 stars more like 2 stars. No pool and breakfast was ok. Small area but the staff kept up well and were very friendly. The gym was doable the equipment was older and made some noises. I did not have any real problems.

Overall a very good value for the price. This appears to have been an older property that was remodeled into a Best Western and it was done very well. We had one of the largest rooms (considering the price) I have stayed in for years with a seperate seating area with TV, Desk, sink, refrig, and microwave.

The entire staff were helpful and efficient, from housekeeping to the breakfast staff. The front desk greeted everyone with smiles. Its my favorite place to stay. They were very informative of what was going on for the weekend, the places to have fun, and the places that were having events

Outstanding hotel 2 blocks from the beach. Room had nice flat screen TVs and extra room with sofa. Place was less than a block to amazing pizza. Highly recommend this place for nice room, location and great breakfast. Staff is very caring and professional.

I was in town for a cheer competition and knew that we wouldn't spend much time in the room. This was PERFECT. A sink to clean out water bottles, a decent sized fridge, a sitting area so not to disturb sleeping teen. Beds weren't bad either! The only complaint was that the windows were very thin and I could hear every street noise/wind movement (it was VERY windy the second night). But again, totally worth the money. Breakfast was basic, but good. Every staff member was friendly. Will definitely use again.

Stayed 2 nights while attending an event at the convention center in OCMD. From check in to check out everyone extremely friendly and helpful at the hotel. Our room was great and the breakfast in the morning was just what we needed.

Not given room service due to a staff not informing us of when the cleaning staff would be finished! No apology, remorse or did she try to amend or appease us of this issue! Will never stay here again

Stayed for one night for a family event in the area. Room was average and clean. What made our stay really nice when we checked out at 6:30 am before the included breakfast started at 7, the man who checked us out on Sunday, December 16, gave us some danish and fruit for the road. He could not have been any nicer. We did not get his name, but hopefully he is recognized based on the detail above. Best Western is lucky to have such a nice person working for them.

We stayed at the Best Western three times and have always enjoyed our visit. The hotel manager does a great job running the hotel. The staff is extremely pleasant and the hotel is spotless. The customer service is outstanding. The Best Western is in a great location and it is nice and quiet. Our rooms were clean and lovely. I have always contacted the Best Western first to book my visits at Ocean City. They also offer complimentary breakfast as a added bonus. Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised with your stay. We were very happy with our stay and we will be book the hotel again.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the best western in Ocean City MD for a weekend vacation. The room was clean and inviting. There was a microwave and mini fridge and a couch with 2 queen beds. The beds were comfortable and the room was nice. In the morning they served breakfast and I have to say the sausage gravy and biscuits was absolutely the best thing they had. I was shocked that a "continental" breakfast would tast so good. I would recommend and stay again 10 out of 10

My husband and I decided to book a last minute stay. This hotel happened to be $70 cheaper than everyone else. We did have a bit of a set back, the kids in the room next to us caused a malfunction with the sprinkler system which in tern, set the fire alarm off. Next thing you know fire trucks were at the scene. While I was very reluctant to continue our stay in fear for our safety. Devin, the Assistant Manager, was very accommodating and arranged for us to move to an upgraded room. He displayed an exceptional work ethic by staying hours past his shift to help with the clean up. Thank you Devin for all your help!!

Drab interior, bathroom outdated, breakfast was very limited selection wise and nothing at front desk to acquire for snacks. Price was reasonable and other hotels we normally stay at had been booked for months. This was a last minute trip so to speak.

Older hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised at the clean accommodations. We stayed in mid-Sept. so the rates were very reasonable Just across the highway from the beach. We had a very nice, week-long stay for not a lot of $$$!. Continental breakfast was good.

Went down for ocjw. Wish pricing matched quality. Carpets were very dirty and staff was not the most helpful. Bed comfort was nice and the hotel is in the perfect location. Parking lot needs to be redone.

While we rent a condo every summer, getting to Ocean City can be a beast. Traffic on the weekends can be herendous. So we decided to go a couple of days early and beat the traffic. This Best Western was so affordable, it was clean, comfortable and provided us with a free breakfast. We will continue to do this every year from now on. Wish they had a pool, they do offer the use of one at a nearby hotel. It was very small and located on top of a marsh, that was riddled with flying insects. So, I'd go to the beach and. Are a fun day of it. The staff here were really. Ice, and helpful. Plan to go there next year to once again avoid traffic. We are seniors, so the only issue would be staying on the other side of coastal highway. For us, we have to drive across the highway. For you young people, no problem. Great place.

This is a nice hotel on the bay side of OC. The room was good size with the only issue being the bathroom door essentially had to be slammed to close it. I asked the hotel cleaning room staff to clean our room while we were out. We returned to a still Dirty room and were upset. Thankfully when we stopped by the front desk they apologized and when we returned from dinner the room was clean with new towels. Thanks to the desk staff for their help.

This hotel has become our place to stay every time we are in Ocean City. It is a nice beach hotel, great location, clean and good continental breakfast. With every year visit we have noticed the eager to improve their stellar service. Breakfast is better than before, staff is attentive and make you feel welcomed, rooms are remodeled every off season and they are nice. Beds are comfy! A big praise to Alexis, Ritchie and all the staff! Good job guys.

We had a great stay. The location is great - close to the beach, convenient to good food and some shopping, but just a bit out of the huddle and bussle around the board walk. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast included some hot options, which was nice. My only trouble was the wifi didn't work during the weekend when the hotel was more full. During the week the connection was weak but workable.

Close to the beach and other fun family activities for young kids. This was far enough from hustle and bustle of board walk to not be overwhelmed with that but close enough you can still go down and enjoy it.

Stayed here 7/4 - 7/7. First time in OC not in a condo in decades (just wife and I this time). Staff was uniformly great, from the woman who handles breakfast to the front desk staff who hooked me up with everything from food recos to use of his bottle opener for my beer. Stayed on fourth floor. Room was great. One elevator, but no issues with it. Room had king bed, was redone, ac worked great, liked the little frig. Be aware that if you crank it to "6", your beer will freeze. Little issues -- fourth floor hallway is g-d awful hot - no ac in hallway - wtf. As for the bathrooms, two issues - please, please, please, put in the curved shower curtain - cant stand when the curtain hits my leg. Also, the bathroom door doesnt stay - it always swings towards the shower, and bangs against it (which sucks at night when others are sleeping). Beyond these minor issues, good stuff. Breakfast is sufficient - its free and good enough. Parking is plentiful, park whenever you want. Location is great - middle of OC, can walk to Seacrets, next to OC Brewing Company (pretty empty, might be on way out?), Dunkin Donuts, pizza place, fractured prune, sunsations and bad monkey (good subs) all within two blocks. cross street to beach, no biggie. Would love a pool but you get what you pay for. would stay here again.

This was our first stay here but won't be our last. The hotel is in a great location for beach access, far enough away from the busyness of the boardwalk, but only one block over from a great strand of beach. The room was pleasantly large, it was awesome for my son to have the sofa bed and his own TV. He said the sofa bed was ok after he found for the right spot to sleep in, and the large closet, kitchenette type area and bathroom were very nice. The jetted tub was amazing and made for a great relaxing night after a long drive. Breakfast was good with standard fare and the staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a fantastic value for a great stay.

It had been a long time since we vacationed in Ocean City MD. and we were just spending the night. We needed suggestions for everything!! The staff in the Lobby had great suggestions for dinner and ice cream! Next morning breakfast was a real treat-real food, prepared well! We look forward to returning to OC and BW!

Recently renovated, nice large rooms . Have stayed here many times .Reasonable rates , especially during the off season, nice location. Note No pool, or view from room ,not an issue for us. . Nice hot breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

Arrived Friday, May 4th, 2018 and stayed til Sunday May 6th. The front desk check in staff were awesome. Very attentive and they upgraded my room to a nice suite because I am a rewards member! My room was clean and newly renovated. Had a nice living room and the bathroom was clean!! The bed was comfy. I caused my toilet to clog (LOL) and they came right over and fixed it! All stays include breakfast. Coffee was awesome and they offer eggs, sausage, breads, pastry, oatmeal, cold cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices, pancakes and just about any breakfast food! Overall I have enjoyed my stays over the years at Bestwestern Hotels. With the rewards program, good service, clean rooms.why stay anywhere else! Oh and one more thing, this hotel is right across the street from the beautiful well maintained Maryland beaches!!!!!

I decided to go there during the off season to avoid all the summer crowd. The only thing that kind of annoyed me its that they didn't have the pack n play crib I requested, ready for my baby. It was fixed later though :) Other than that We can say we have a really nice experience. The stuff was really nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place. It's a block away from the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here and absolutely loved it! All the employees are very nice and super helpful. They had a sign that said they had gluten free options. When I asked about then I was so delighted to learn that ALL of their bread- white, wheat, raisin, and bagels were gluten free. I had to ask again to make sure I heard correctly. The bread were all normal sized, soft, and the taste was like heaven on my palette. If you are allergic to gluten or have celiac disease, this is the place for you to stay!!

The hotel was excellent. The room was more than we expected. We were there for a conference and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be returning here for next years conference. Thank you..

We have stayed at the Best Western for St. Patrick's Day weekend for many years. The staff are very welcoming and personable, especially Alexis, Devin, James, Richie, Victoria, Nelly, Miss Martha and Paige. The rooms looked great with the recent renovations. The artwork featured by a local artist accented the rooms. We look forward to our stay each time we visit the Best Western!

Very clean hotel, would highly recommend. Check-in and check out staff was very polite. They offer breakfast every morning but we only had the coffee we didn't make it down in time for breakfast.. The area for breakfast was also very clean.

Haven't been to Ocean City for quite some time. We enjoy going down at off season with less crowds and great rates. We usually stay with Best Western and this was our first stay at BW Ocean City. We stayed in a two room suite. Giving us plenty of room. Free breakfast to start the day always makes your stay great. We encountered the first snow storm of the season but still had a great time. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Even in the winter months there is plenty of places to go and things to do. The room was clean and hotel staff accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and to go back again soon.

I paid $50 for a nights stay. Amazing . Clean room . Friendly & professional staff. You can't be the location . Walkable to many restaurants , 7/11 & Dunkin' Donuts . I would surely go there again. I would recommend this hotel to family & friends!

We have stayed here many times. Nice place for the price. They are currently undergoing some room renovations. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Always coffee available in breakfast room. There is no pool & not much of a view depending on which side of the hotel you stay on. This is not an issue for us.

We needed a place to stay for one night and this was the closest BW to our destination. The price was very reasonable (IT is the off season) We got a 2 bed suite which was much more than we needed but was very clean and roomy. The hotel looks well maintained and even though it is on the bay side I would consider it during the summer season. Had to leave early so we missed the breakfast but BW has never disappointed. overall very good value.

Came down to OC for an oyster event and the hotel was in perfect location. Close to everywhere. Check in and out was a breeze and our room was clean and quite large. Perfect choice for quick getaway down beach!

Rooms need desperate remodeling. Tv cable was terrible few channels. Toiletries were poor quality. The mattress was old and very lumpy. Fan didn't work in the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The Best Western Hotel was a great deal for a great price. The staff were friendly and professional. It was a great location and within walking distances of shops and restaurants. The rooms were neat and beds comfortable. The continental breakfast was an extra perk. The only draw back was the furniture in the rooms were a little outdated. I would definitely recommend this for a nice get away at the beach.

We usually go once a year off season to OC and have stayed at plenty of the hotels - I think our favorites are the Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and the bigger Holiday Inn, and while I would gravitate to those in the future if the price was right, this did the job. The room was plenty big and comfortable/quiet enough, fitness room looked decent although I didn't end up using it, and breakfast did the job. It was clean and the wi fi, room key, and elevator all worked pretty efficiently. Window views seemed to be mainly of the parking lots. Not a standout hotel among the others, but fine with no issues.

Place is excellent to stay. Has good service and staff is always pleasant an helpful. Also Alexis the manager is helpful with us planning to stay at another Best Western when traveling out of state to make sure that we get good accommadations.

This was not the Best Western I've come to know. Very bland. No lobby. First floor hall crowded with racks. More expensive than off season should be. It did the job. Nothing bad. Good location. Not what I'm used to with Best Western.

We stayed here during the week. It was very nice. The room was cleaned everyday and the breakfast was really good. The only thing was the hallway was warm and the windows on the outside of our room were not clean so it was hard for us to look out.

Booked this hotel for the price value and location. Older décor, but room was clean and well appointed. Entire staff was excellent, from the reception to the breakfast service. Very attentive. Visited during off season, so guessing rates would be much higher during peak. Will definitely visit Ocean City again, and will specifically consider this property.

I highly recommend this place!! I had a wonderful time with friends staying here and Richie was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. The breakfast was great as well which is hard to find at a hotel sometimes. I'll definitely come back.

After a bad experience at another BW, we were totally surprised at the excellent facilities and staff. After a day of driving, relaxing was the key and relaxing it was. Would recommend it for all. This was our first trip to Ocean City and it was a great experience.

Was there for bike week and was very close to everything.First time in the area and realized was a great spot to crash at the end of a long day.Just wished they offered a free continental breakfast but was a great stay

The staff and service were great, but the condition of the facility is starting to wane. I had room 205. It was dark, rather smelly, and had old paint and ripped and repaired couch cushions. The worst part of my three-day stay was waking up in bed to find a big bug crawling on me. I thought it was a bed bug, but the manager said she inspected the room and could not find any bedbugs. The hotel seems to be quite noisy . . . noise coming from the street, the hall and from the other rooms. I would also say the quality of the mattresses is not very good. They were too hard. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep in this hotel. I've stayed at this hotel three years in a row, but I think it is time for me to move on . . .

Newly reminded and clean. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was nicely decorated with little to no carpet which I like better than carpet. Room was attended to each day and restocked. Breakfast was basic and enough variety. Would stay here again.

The hotel was clean, beach is a block away and boardwalk a few minutes away by car. Free breakfast was good but limited on items. The staff was nice. The only issue for some might be the wifi so I had to use my phone as a modem for my laptop. Needs renovations in the rooms but other than that it was a very good experience.

The only good thing I can say is the front desk staff is friendly. The hallways are extremely hot. We walked into the bathroom of our room to find a used wash cloth on the shower road. Looked over on the kleenex box to find a pubic hair. The mattress was horrible. We were trying to get our luggage rack through the hallway. The maid's cart was in the way. She was sitting inside the room looking out into the hall. She watched us move her cart and never offered to help. The breakfast area is small and cramped. Can't hardly get to the food and finding a seat next to impossible. It is not close to anything and the price we paid was more than we had paid at other hotels which were a lot nicer.

My wife sister and myself booked for 4 nights at this place because of the offer of breakfast being included, that was a big letdown with the cold french toast scrambled eggs that looked like powdered eggs. coffee so light and weak with no test. Then there are the rooms with there 1990's furniture the lack of outlets in the rooms very uncomfortable beds that left us with back pain. the only saving grace for our stay there was the staff, they were great courteous and helpful. as far as everything else it was just adequate.

Stayed here for 2 nights and got a great deal with booking.com. The hotel isn't 5 star luxury but it is a great hotel for the location in Ocean City. Very close to main bars and close to the beach. The breakfast was good and had plenty to offer. We would definitely return at the right deal to this hotel in Ocean City

Great hotel, great experience and great price. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Its a great price for the room amenities. The location is excellent is terms of walking to the beech. The beech is also not too crowded in this location.

My sister and I were just planning a day trip to the beach. I looked for last minute deals and found this midweek. The staff was friendly and helpful. They called us when our room was ready as we arrived really early. The room was large, quiet and clean. We has two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. The room had a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The location is a short walk to the beach and there are some good places to eat within walking distance. DD and Fractured Prune are next door. We would stay here again.

Stayed at this same place 4 years in a row. Staff is exceptionally friendly. The first time we stayed here there was a problem with our AC and they had to move us but comped us for that night. They went out of their way to accommodate us!

the Best Western in OC is wonderful and affordable if you want to get away for a few days. the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is filling and tasty, the hotel is a walk across the road to the beach. it is warm and friendly. the value is exceptional.

Great location even though it's not ocean front. Convenient walking to many great restaurants.Breakfast is included but it's very basic and crowded with cold food. The bedding is very simple but clean.

Let me first start by saying that this property is one block from the beach. It is in a great location, especially if you want to stay a little bit further away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. With that being said, that was about all that is good about this property. The staff was friendly and checkin/out was quick and painless. We did not complain about anything during our stay but I am sure that the staff would have been attentive to our needs. The room was a very adequate size with two full sized beds (not queens), and a sofa bed. The mattresses on all of the beds were very well worn and not very comfortable. There was a very noticeable sag in the center of the bed I slept on. The bath towels were small and extremely well worn...probably should have been replaced months ago. They were very rough and not soft on the body. There was also a very heavy layer of dust covering the dressers. I wrote "dust me" on it before we left. It's hard to believe that this room would have passed inspection by a Housekeeping supervisor...if there even was an inspection. There was also a large amount of exterior noise. Whether it was birds in the morning or construction people erecting a sign out front, you heard it. The furniture, mattresses, and bath towels all need to go. This hotel is in dire need of a makeover ASAP. Now lets get to breakfast. It had the usual continental breakfast, which was fine. The website says that there are pancakes, but there never were any pancakes. They did have pretty decent French Toast, however. Their eggs were fake and runny. They were not very appealing to look at and did not taste very good either. The coffee was fair but not all that great. The free in-room WiFi was so terribly slow that it was pointless to even try to log onto it. It took minutes for a simple web page to load. Then it took a few minutes more to navigate around the site. It was better just to use my cell phone. All in all, this property needs a lot of work...and quick.

The room was very spacious, the staff was incredible. We tried to keep the sand to a minimum, but staff left the floor spotless every day!! Front desk employees had recommendations for us on where to eat, and even though this hotel didn't have a pool, they were able to send us to their sister hotel! Perfect hotel for the price! No bells and whistles, but a nice room and friendly staff!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western, Ocean City, Md. The staff, room and parking was excellent. The room was very clean and the atmosphere was great. The location was great only one block from the beach.

We decided to stay in this hotel while we were in Ocean City. Checking in was easy, we stayed in room 319. When you first walk in to the room, there is an ice bucket and some other stuff. There are also free toiletries in the bathroom. The jetted tub was a little weird. The beds are comfortable. The next morning, we went to the breakfast room, the breakfast was good and they had free newspapers for guests to read. Later that day, we went to the beach, while we were gone, housekeeping only made one of our two beds. The Next day we checked out and went to Washington DC. There were a few pros and cons of this hotel though, Pros •Big Room •2 TV's •Free Breakfast •Small Kitchenette in room with sink, microwave, and mini fridge •Bus Station is close •Convenient Store is next door Cons •No Pool •No TV Channel Guide in Room •Boardwalk is kind of far •Not too many restaurants nearby

Loved this hotel! Price was great! The room was very spacious and accomdating as well as the breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff girl Payton was a sweetheart. Answered any questions I had! Def would stay here anytime im back in the OC area and will recommend it to all my friends!

We go to Best Westerns a lot. This hotel did not keep up with what we are used to. Let me start with a positive: the staff was respectful, courteous, and when we requested something they delivered to our room quickly. They gave us the towels we needed for girls with long hair. Now for an Ocean hotel, it had palm trees for the decoration instead. (Although they were nice). But it was so dull in colors and drab. Not uplifting. The breakfast was not good and it was cold. We had to heat it up with the microwave. The eggs were extremely salty.(although, that is Ocean City's motto stay salty;lol) Something was going on and off all night under our room with a loud grumbly sound, like a compressor, which kept us up. We could not hook up a DVD player or game system to the tv since all the input buttons were broken. The sofa bed dipped way down in the middle and slanted to one side while the head and feet went up. The queen beds you roll into the middle. And the pool is 4 blocks away!! We will not return to this hotel.

This hotel is very old and it need some upgrades the bathroom the carpet and most all the breakfast is terrible. But overall if you want to be close to the beach you could staying in this Hotel and they do not have bugs.

Reception staff seemed bothered when checking in, rooms were very outdated . Couch was not stable Cleaning staff rude, again bothered if you asked for something, Waited outside rooms to clean, felt very rushed in the morning A lot to be desired..never coming back

Room was clean, hard hard beds so uncomfortable, no room service (which sucked) big & spacious tho, no pool, pulled back the sheets on the bed & the beds look gross, people at desk were helpful, quick easy check-out

The kitchenette was small but functional. The pancake machine was yummy but slowed down the breakfast line a little. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They could spruce up the rooms with some new decor. Overall enjoyed our trip.

We stayed her 3 nights after a baseball tournament in Delaware. Check in was fast. The suite was very nice! It was spacious and very clean. Latoya, our housekeeper did a great job each day. She even vacuumed for us which is rare in a hotel until someone checks out. The other staff was great too. The breakfast buffet was excellent each morning with a wide selection to choose from. The hotel is in a great location because you can walk to the beach using the crosswalk to cross the coastal highway. It is not on the boardwalk so it is a little quieter. The internet went in and out. We had to sign in a lot. The parking lot was very tight here, so don't park near the poles. This hotel only has one elevator and we had to wait for it for up to 5 minutes sometime. This is one of the only hotels in the area that offers a free breakfast which saves you a lot of money with a family of 5. The air conditioning worked great. The room was a little run down for the money. We will stay here again but look elsewhere too as this hotel can be a little pricey for the run down rooms.

This is our third time staying here. It is always a great place to stay. We noticed that the breakfast and some room were improved since our last stay (2 years ago). Only small complaint, it is a little expensive but worth it. Good location as well.

Coming here for years and won't change. Upgraded breakfest menu. Now includes scrambled eggs and sausage. Great location. Walking distance to Mackey's and Secrets. The only negative is the Wi-Fi is terrible.

Devin was the best front desk person ever. I asked him for some suggestions for dinner and things to do in the area because we've never been here. He made some really great suggestions, and was so helpful. I will definitely be back here because of him!

Had a lovely room big enough for 2 adults and 2 children..love the coffeepot in the room.Not on the Boardwalk but that might have been a good thing. Service was wonderful and free breakfast was a time saver and it was a good selection. Jacuzzi tub was nice also.

One night for business. Convenient location, but the property is in desperate need of a renovation. Apparent wood framed construction in this hotel is getting saggy and you can feel it as you walk down the corridors and when you see the cracked floor tiles in the bathroom. Noisy through the wall HVAC. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast selection. Free parking.

Came for our 20th wedding anniversary for 3 days, it was a very very nice hotel. Room was clean and hotel staff were very nice. Breakfast was great too. Have stayed here before and will continue to stay here, one of the nicest in mid-town OC.

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect. The hotel was clean and updated, our room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. Ty at the front desk was awesome! He helped us find a great seafood restaurant and Miss. Martha in the breakfast room was very friendly and took pride in her job and making sure all the breakfast guests were happy and taken care of. The complimentary breakfast was perfect and had a nice selection. For the price, it was above what we expected.

We came to Best Western as an add on to our weekend getaway we already had planned and just needed a room for an extra night. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and decent upon arrival. Except my pregnant wife and I were highly disappointed upon exiting the elevator onto the 3rd floor. The entire hallway reeked of marijuana. At first our room was fine but then around 1115pm the smell made its way into our room. Highly disappointed in this. It is uncalled for and hotel staff should be more aware of what is going on in their "100% smoke free" rooms/ building. Will never return.

The hotel and service was awesome! We enjoyed eating together at the continental breakfast! Servers and Staff were friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again!!!

Spacious, rooms, comfortable bed, upgraded wood flooring, and great seperate living room area! The rooms are very clean. Their don't deal staff go above and beyond. The complimentary breakfast is great!

Would not pick any other hotel - employees are a hoot! and has a prime spot (few blocks from seacrets) i would come back again and only come back to best western - they have an automatic pancake maker :)

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the gentleman at the front desk. The decor of the hotel was very nice, and our room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast, and I especially liked being able to choose the strength of the coffee. All of the members of the staff we encountered were pleasant, and I look forward to staying at this Best Western again.

My husband and I stayed here recently. The room and hotel were very clean. The staff was friendly. The location was great. Check in and out was easy. The cons were that if you are staying in a room towards the highway, it can be noisy. There were no screens in the windows. The elevator was beyond slow. Last but most definitely not least was the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Definitely needs to be upgraded. Overall, I'd recommend a stay here if you can handle the uncomfortable bed. I however won't stay again until the beds are upgraded!

Hotel is in a prime OC Md. Location. Rooms were good, however they are in dire need of a makeover. The "04" line was very noisy due to the hydraulic elevator. Hotel staff was very helpful during the check in/out process, but they had no identifying name tags nor uniforms depicting that they were staff. Only that they were behind the counter.

The hotel staff was very nice. The room need a upgrade new furniture while it wasn't bad I have stayed at many other Best Western's for me on a scale of 1-10 I give this hotel a 5 while it wasn't bad it could us a up grade.

first of all the suite i had was nice.suite with 2 beds and a couch .. the room was spotlessly clean ,actually the whole hotel is...my room featured a temperature controlled room worked great to your liking.. small fridge with microwave .... and a tub with jets . and a daily morning buffet style breakfast with limited options was offered was also great... the parking is also good especially for those who dont like hot cars , you can park underneath the building where it is shady a plus for 100 degree summer days... the staff at this hotel is top notch friendly.... the management Alexis and her team are awesome ....... now here's the bad on the hotel a staff member cant fix ,, the reviews on the beds being hard are true... and if your overweight you will not fit in the small tub..other wise if u like extra firm beds and don't take baths this is a perfect hotel....

This Best Western is a clean, well managed, friendly hotel. But it sure is a weird looking property! From outside its more functional ... its a building in a parking lot. Inside its what you expect. The place is clean, staff inviting...all of them. Rates were reasonable, just wish the breakfast bar had more options, because its in a resort area a pool would be nice. Overall we would stay again, I 'trust' the place

We stayed here for one night and the hotel was vey affordable. The room is very large and very comfortable. Very centrally located and had all that we needed for an overnight stay. I would recommend this place again and would revisit if in the area

The staff was extremely attentive. Thw room is large, clean, and thw jetted tub is a plus. Breakfast is carb heavy continental. Coffee, tea, fruit and hot chocolate were available all day. The double queen was nice. The HVAC in out room had a problem and Alexis manager and Devin Asst. Manager were amazing!

I've stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are always super helpful and nice. Breakfast is great. It really is a great price for the size of the room in the off season. The only complaint I have is that the mattresses on the beds are much too hard!

The front desk very friendly at check in. The hotel is at a great a location for the St. Patty's parade. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room faced the street so you could watch the parade from the window. Breakfast had many selections and the coffee was good. A suggestion would be to hand out some sort of St. Patty's accessories. The room fee increased about $30 from last year.

We just got back from a get away weekend the hotel was very clean and so was are room. Our room was very large it held to queen beds and a pull out sofa and you could still move around with out running in to anything or anyone. The breakfast was good my husband and several other guest that we talk to loved the pancake machine I was happy with my coffee and bagels with cream cheese. Everyone at the front desk were always helpful and were awesome to talk too they were always helping us with info om what do to do and places to go eat since it was off season and a lot of places were still closed, Price of the room were great. We will definitely go back. Also would recommend this to friends and family as a great and relaxing place to stay

We always like staying here. Great location, good staff. We will be going back. Alexis is awesome. Breakfast good could go up a notch and comfort of the beds too but overall it's great. Price is good too. I like what they've done to the fitness area.

My friends and I stayed here over the Labor Day weekend for 4 days. The checkin was quick. The room was average an decent with all the regular amenities coffee maker, iron, tv, alarm clock. We didn't have any issues with our stay. The fitness center is a joke with 1 weight machine, 1 eliptical and a fitness ball. The breakfast was decent with the usual muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast, oat meal coffee and juice. I would recommend this location for a quick inexpensive and no frills stay.

We stayed here for a weekend in OCMD with friends. Older hotel, but it was very clean and within walking distance to everywhere we went. If you're looking for a decently priced, clean hotel - this is it!

Although the hotel can use some updates, the room was very clean and comfortable. Beds are older and firmer than most. We were on the top floor. Plenty of sunlight. Spacious. We loved that the bathroom and the "kitchen" amenities were in a separate space, and the "kitchen" counter space was a big plus. The complimentary breakfast was limited. There were peeled boiled eggs in the fridge otherwise no other forms of protein, but the quality of the spread was good. Staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is close to the convention center and situated in the middle of the strip convenient either to the inlet/boardwalk or to Delaware.

Got into town late and selected this hotel because of the price and the fact that it had covered parking and the ability to check in and unload without having to get wet--there was a driving rainstorm when I arrived. Front desk was very helpful and receptive, but the hotel was obviously old and could use some updating, both in the public areas and guest rooms.

The Best Western was okay for the price paid. It was close to everything. There were these 4 Drunk guys in the hotel that were running up and down the hallway making all this noise. Breakfast was good. Coffee machine was not working well. Coffee was very light colored.

My husband and I stayed here for our Anniversary and Endless Summer Cruise week. Again the staff are awesome. Alexis without saying is a great manager. I met Devin and he is great too. Very personable. I like that. Lady doing Breakfast is a sweetie. See y'all soon :)

First visit to this hotel just for a night trip to Ocean City. Picked here for its walking distance to Secrets. Clean simple hotel but the rooms were large and had 2 beds and a couch which was nice. All we needed for the night.

We've stayed at this BW many times before, though this was our first "off-season" stay here. The hotel is next door to the OC Brewery with easy access to very good (though not great) craft beer. Easy to catch a beautiful sunset by a quick walk to the foot bridges that go to Fager's just one block uptown. Cross the avenue to get to easy ocean beach access at 56th or 55th. In season parking is strictly enforced to one car per room, keeping parking ample and safe. Off season it's a free for all as you'd expect. High clearance to leave the bikes on the roof with no concerns. Staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast is fair with limited, modest quality selections, though add a half star for the friendly b'fast server, very willing to make your machine-made pancakes for you. Coffee is available all day and also fair quality and taste. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Like many others, they should get rid of the unnecessary bedspreads which we throw on the floor every night. Everything in clean and working order including our fridge and microwave which we get a lot of use out of. In season or off this is a very good value, especially considering the 72 hour cancelation policy, which not many OC hotels offer. Especially due to the high value, empty boardwalk and beaches and absolutely no traffic, we will likely switch to Oct OC trips and stay at this BW for a comfortable and inexpensive off-season OC vacation.

We stayed one night. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable but we were near the elevator and found it a bit noisy. The breakfast could use some improvement and the space was quite small.

This hotel is centrally located a block from the beach. There is no pool. It is value for the money since they offer suites with sofa kitchenette and microwave/refrigerator. Room nicely decorated and bathrooms spacious. Good value for the money

I was hoping for some type of beach, water, garden or lawn view since it was on the beach peninsula, and it appears to be a summer tourist town There was none! The view we did get was of the hotel's parking lot...(forget the water) not even a garden or lawn. Breakfast was okay, but the pancake machine (yes a machine) was not functioning. When it did work, the pancakes were great. No hot breakfast...no eggs other than boiled, bacon, omelette, hot cereal goodness. We ended up going to breakfast a Denny's for the rest of the stay. Staff was nice, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean. WiFi worked, but you have to log back in every time you return to the hotel/room.

It's a budget motel, so the price is right and the desk ladies were nice. It goes downhill sharply from there. The street noise and the smelly rooms are both unbearable. The breakfast was pretty bad. Don't waste your time staying here.

We loved our stay here. The room was big as was the bathroom. It's right across the street from the beach, which is very convenient. There are many different places to eat although some can be pricey. The front desk lady suggested a few places that we could walk to. We ended up going the Touch of Italy. The front desk lady was spot on with her recommendation. We would stay here again.

what a great place to hang out & ride our harleys! it was very crowded but still very exciting to participate in the festivities. Great places to eat & shop. and the ocean was just a short walk from the hotel. we went down to the end of the boardwalk by the inlet & took the $3.00 tram ride .

My stay at the Best Western was good. The customer service is always great. The breakfast had good choices, however I had to remind the lady at the breakfast bar that there was no creamer and to please refill the water pitcher. I always like to get into the bathtub when I stay at the motel and the tub was not as clean as I thought it should be especially when I turned on the jets, foam appeared with an unpleasing color... the TV in the standard room was placed in a way that it was not good viewing to the entire room. Maybe a bigger TV would solve that issue. Overall I would still recommend this Hotel for a brief stay. Economical, best buy for my buck. I will return next year.

I wish there were something good to say about this property, but there just isn't. The rooms are deteriorated, smelly, and generally uncomfortable. The staff is uncaring, the complimentary breakfast is disgusting....this was one of the worst travel experiences we've ever had. Shocked that this is a Best Western property.

Room was great. Very big, much more then expected. Elevator was slow so we used the stairs. lol. Continental breakfast was ok, but opted to eat out. Check in was quick, check out was quick. Expensive by $70 in my opinion, but earlier the driving home to come back the next day,

This hotel was fine. Good for families with young children but would be better if it had a pool. It was clean with a short walk to the beach and comfortably fit our family of 5. Breakfast was okay. Front desk staff was friendly. AC worked great. Overall, we had a great mini vacation!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at this hotel for our annual trip to ocean city. It's a lower cost hotel, so it doesn't have the frills, but it was clean, staff was friendly and everything worked. We had a room with a king bed and sleeper sofa. Plenty of room for a couple. The bathroom was on the small side, but it was clean, functional and had a whirlpool tub. Read many reviews complaining about the continental breakfast, but hey, there was cereal, pancakes, pastries, breakfast breads, fruit and hard boiled eggs, And it was FREE. The only negatives were no pool and being a lower cost hotel, there were families with little kids that you could hear running the halls, but can't really hold hotel responsible for them. Would have no problem staying again.

this hotel is one of the best in the Best Western Chain. the staff is excellent, the rooms are very nice and clean. the AC works well, the internet is very fast, and the front desk clerks make it a mission to see you have everything you need to make your stay warm and pleasurable.

A good hotel for families, right across the street from the beach (a 3 minute walk). A few miles from the boardwalk, and close to arcades, restaurants, markets, and mini-golf. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Only downside was very slow WiFi (not the biggest thing in the world, but noticeable).

This hotel is very straightforward. Simple rooms and decor, nothing fancy, which is what we were looking for. The room was nice, though sheets were a bit scratchy and towels seemed past their prime. Overall clean though. The breakfast was fine. All carbs (pancakes, bagels, etc). The breakfast area is a makeshift collection of chairs and tables. It got fairly loud with all the screaming kids, but that's the fault of parents letting their children cry, not the hotel's. The staff was fantastic (and the reason for four stars instead of three). One of the front desk clerks, Amanda, was extremely kind and helped my boyfriend I and navigate to the boardwalk for dinner one night. They also allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot after we checked out while we enjoyed the beach for a few more hours. The cleaning staff was also very polite and welcoming. Overall, we wanted this trip to be a budget beach getaway, and this hotel fit the bill.

Although this hotel was across the street from the beach, it was easy to access the beach via a pedestrian crosswalk. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Decor is a bit dated, but for a family beach vacation it was fine.

Were staying here for one night the front desk check in is very helpful and pleasant we arrived so early but was able to change into our swim wear and enjoy the beach before the rain. The room is clean and very spacious has all the amenities for and over nite stay for left overs from the beach or Restaraunt..also the free breakfast in the morning

the hotel is beautiful on its appearance. the room is large enough. but its floor and the furnature doesn't match very well. they make the room it not as clean as it should be. the decoration of the bathroom is also not good enough. the work on the corner of the floor is bad. the tub is beautiful but it doesn't look clean enough to bath in. the staff is nice in the hotel though.

My family and I recently stayed at this Best Western this week. Our room was very clean and cozy and the beds were very comfortable. My kids liked the fact that they both had their own bed to sleep in and actually fought over who would sleep on the pull out sofa. I loved the fact that the tub was actually a jacuzzi tub, it was very relaxing to come back from the beach and be able to shower to get the sand off and then be able to soak in the jacuzzi tub. The staff was also very friendly and very informative. We were able to get an early check-in and they even left us have a late check-out, (even though they were sold out that night) since we wanted to go to the beach one last time and didn't want to have to drive 4 hours covered in sand. Breakfast was excellent. No, they don't have eggs or any type of breakfast meat but for my family it was the perfect selection of food. The hotel is perfectly located between the Assawoman bay and within walking distance to the beach. We didn't have a view of either from our room but that didn't matter to me, because as soon as you walked down the hallway to where the elevator was located you could see the beach from there. If we stay in the area again we will definitely be back to stay at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

This hotel was clean and very close to the beach. For the price, it was a great location. The only complaint I have is that the internet was very slow. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and quiet. There was a great restaurant right next door.

We arrived to Ocean City without reservations and came across the vacancy sign. For $183 a night, it wasn't a bad deal. Beds were comfortable, showers hot, staff friendly, continental breakfast. I appreciated the line to dry swimsuits in the shower. The room is a bit weathered with paint chips and not as clean as I would have preferred but it was manageable. The rooms had a lot of space and decent amentities (wifi, fridge, microwave, DVD player, cable TV). You do have to walk across a major highway to get to the beach and you absolutely MUST use the crosswalk as traffic is always busy. The elevators are EXTREMELY slow. We walked the stairs most of the time. There is no view of anything from your room besides the neighboring hotel. There is no pool either. I agree that parking spots are tight. The only entrance is from the highway so if you are at the back end of the hotel, you are doing a lot of walking. You can exit out the back but not enter. We presume they do this to control the younger adults who get a room for a bunch of friends so they can monitor who is coming and going. It met our needs, but I doubt we would stay again. P.S. Get better coffee. The coffee from the machine in the morning was awful as part of the continental breakfast, I expected better.

Our experience with this hotel was very positive. We did a long weekend with family and the entire family stayed here. The front desk personnel were happy, helpful and kind. The hotel is clean, pretty modern, and affordable. Parking is a bit tight, but the positive experience made it worth it. I would definately recommend if looking for a good hotel that is not right on the beach.

Just stayed two nights paying $179 per night (booked the trip last March so there were few reasonable deals). Our room was just so-so; it was adjacent to the elevator (room 202), so we could hear it running very loudly. Complained this to the manager, but she said no other rooms were available. (Also, the A/C made strange noises, but the elevator's was worse.) The room just seemed dirty (we always wore our shoes in the unit). We came here last year (had a better room), but this visit taught me that I should spend a few more dollars and experience a much nicer stay for my money. Won't be coming back to this property.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western in Ocean City. Amanda and all of the other staff went above and beyond. The rooms could use some updating, but the location is great, and provides easy access to the beach, restsurants, the boardwalk and mini golf.

No matter what time of year I stay here, I am happy. The staff is always helpful, courteous. One thing for sure, I see some of the same faces each time so that tells me they like working there. I am happy with the suite when I have four of us, gives us some space. When I take the kids, they love having their own TV and sitting area. Thank you again for taking such good care of us.

My family and I have been coming to this Best Western in Ocean City for the last years. We go to Ocean City for about 5 days each time and have found that it is the best value for our money and what we are looking for during our beach stay. Here is what to expect: 1. Recently updated lobby and breakfast room 2. Daily breakfast with hot and hot options (good amount of tables and chairs). The lady that runs the breakfast room is so sweet and friendly. She remembers us ever year! 3. Four floors of rooms. We like to stay on the 4th floor because the walls and ceiling are NOT very sound-proof. You will hear guests in the hallways, but not above your head. 4. The rooms are a good size for a family of four. I like the layout with the bathroom and the kitchenette separating the bedroom area from the living room/TV room area. 5. The bedding is not very high-end, but comfortable enough. 6. The bathrooms are spacious enough and clean, but not updated for a while. 7. House keeping comes every day and does a pretty good job of cleaning and making sure the sand is out of the carpet and bathroom (especially the tub). Tough job!!! :) This hotel is a great value - not fancy, but nice and comfortable enough since most of our time is spent at the beach and getting out to restaurants, etc. It's in a great location (mid-town) with a short walk across the highway to the beach. There are also a ton of good dining options near-by.

I realized this was not a five-star hotel when my husband made our reservations, so my expectations were not high with this hotel. We needed a clean hotel to fulfill the need for our three kids, my mother, and the two of us. We had 2 queen size beds, a sofa bed, and had to purchase a inflatable bed since they don't provide extra beds. The staff were awesome, the hotel room was clean, and the breakfast was good. Yes, the breakfast is all starches except hard boiled eggs but hey it was free. We went to Walmart and purchased some fruit and veggies and stocked up in our room mini fridge. It was a great location, not too far from the beach and several restaurants. My only complaint was the weird smell the room had when we first arrived, like smoke maybe. I just got a febreeze plug-in and went on with our vacation. No other issues! We stayed for almost a week, and I would recommend if you don't need any thrills or extras :-)

Excellent Hotel. Close to the beach and entertainment! The staff was friendly and highly professional. I wish that the breakfast had a few more choices, with higher health/nutrition value, but it was adequate. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable. A plethora of information was provided on the local attractions and features.

Upon checking in, Kelly at the front desk was friendly. The room smelled fresh. However, the bed was EXTREMELY hard. For the two nights I been there, I woke up both mornings with my back hurting. The first night I stayed which was a Saturday was a miserable night. Approximately around 1:00am I woke up hearing a storm that sound like it was inside my room. I laid there thinking I was dreaming. As I try to go back to sleep the waterfall was getting louder. I then jumped up out the HARD bed to walk toward where I heard a waterfall. Just what I thought! There was a waterfall in my room coming from the inside window seal. I immediately removed my bags and contacted the front desk. The front desk sent up two security guys. The one security guy with curly hair, shoulder length asked the other guy to go get a tool as if a tool can seal the cracks in the ceiling. It need serious caulking or drywall done. The security guy said there was nothing he could do and that they were sold out. In the mean time he gathered some towels and cleaned up the rain. Thank god the storm finally stopped. My daughters and I had to sleep in a room for $300.00 a night with rain falI in our room. I cannot be the only one who experienced an waterfall in this room I stayed in. Sunday morning I called the front desk to speak with the manager, Alexis. The manager was not aware of the incident. In addition to that, she wasn't apologetic. She did not apologize, all she asked was did I want a room change. After the fact I did not need a room change. It was not calling for rain today "Sunday" and I am due to check out Monday morning. The manager did not offer any accommodation toward my $300.00 a night rate. I was credit $50.00 dollars on my bill.... .$300. for a room to sleep in rain. If the manager was in my shoes she would not want to pay $300. to stay in a room with rain. It was a horrible experience!!!!!!!!! I should be credited more than $50.00... UNACCEPTABLE. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience and the attitude I was given from the manager.

The rooms were super clean, the staff was really friendly, and the location was fantastic. We were less than half a mile walk from everything we wanted to do. We didn't need any special amenities, so this was perfect for a place to rest and wash up before heading back out to the busy city. Would definately stay here again!

I got a room on this hotel want to be, i think privately own, it was all good at the beginning, suddenly late at night i heard a door knock, did not pay attention to it, figured it was someone at the wrong room, a few mins later an employee of this hotel open the door and asked me to get out of the room, because there was "marijuana" consumption inside the room. I suggested maybe it was the door next to me, he did not believe me and search my room for evidence. finally after searching and not finding anything, not even smell, the employee leaves, but not without treat me to call the cops if i do it again! REALLY? It was obvious the kids down the hole, yet they picked on me. This was a very frustrating experience, very upsetting and way out of place. I will strong recommend people NOT to use this hotel. YOU CAN GET KICK OUT OF THE ROOM AT THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FOR NO REASON!!!

The hotel is located very close to Coastal Highway - perhaps 30 ft. away at the closest end, so you get quite a lot of road noise in the rooms on that side of the building. In addition, the rooms near the elevator are very loud. The hydraulic drive of the elevator makes a loud humming sound which is pretty overwhelming in the rooms closest to it. Parking is very tight and limited to one car. The breakfast was fine. The rooms were decent, not great. There are no water views from any room. My main complaint, however, is that the manager on site was not very accommodating nor seemed to acknowledge that the property is substandard. I often stay in Best Western Hotels when I travel and like this hotel chain a lot, but I would not recommend this particular property.

The hotel was sufficient, but damp. true it's at the shore but the air circulation did nothing to keep the air, and therefore the room, did not keep things dry. The elevator was extremely slow and noisy in the room. The breakfast was all starches. The only protein was hard boiled eggs.

staff is not helpful and paid more attention to their phones then to the issues at hand.. my family and i had to sleep on a floor where a bus load of people were parting and smoking marijuana... unacceptable.. i got no help from the staff..

Great room, very clean, and modern. The free breakfast was also very good. It was in a great location and in walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the beach. Next time I'm in Ocean City I will return.

This hotel is one block from the ocean. Busy front road with easy crossing due to well placed and abundant traffic lights. Opening windows and AC. Ok breakfast and good Keurig in room coffee. Nice staff.

All in all was a good stay. Little musty smell when you first walk in and a little bit of racket now and then at night But, close to the beach and a good location. Breakfast was good.. service was good. helpful great time

Great hotel--- modern rooms--- clean BUT no pool or patio area on property must go 5 blocks to "sister" hotel. Continental breakfast served fresh - friendly staff. Excellent customer service. I would stay here again. Overall the visit was nice. The hotel is near many stores which was great.

I really enjoyed staying at the Best Western in Ocean City, MD. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel in a central area in OC. Convenient to restaurants, after dinner yogurt and other fun OC activities. One of the highlights of my stay was Nelly who runs the morning Continental breakfast. She is so sweet and helpful. The breakfast is perfect your vacation day. Delicious pancakes, hard boiled eggs, a couple different cereals, muffins, fresh fruit. Nelly cares about the guests and will make your experience happy.

This was an affordable place to stay for 2 day getaway. Not high end but clean and good breakfast. Parking we thought was tight with our truck. If planning on walking to boardwalk it's too far so that was just bad planning on our part. Only a block from beach but must cross highway first.

Very pleased with my first stay at this location. Because of the quality of service, the spacious rooms and the reasonable rates, Best Western is always my first choice when looking for a hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

We spent two nights at this location prior to Memoriakl Day. The traffic was light and the accomodations were comfortable. It is in a convienient location and we enjoyed our stay. The Continental Breakfast offered a good variety and a plesant arrangement in a nice sized room. The facility is an older property that has been well maintained. Great value for the price.

Only needed a room for one night Tuesday for an overnight getaway. The front desk staff were very friendly. Our room was clean. There was a coffee machine also in the room. The only thing I could complain about is that the towels were very rough and scratchy. A small fitness room was available with 3 cardio pieces and a weight machine. We decided to run outside since it was a beautiful day. A continental breakfast was provided until 10:00 a.m. Very nice lady was available to make sure everything was supplied/stocked. Cereal, breads/bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and some fruit. The most unique thing I saw was a Pancake Machine. Yes...push a button and POOF, two pancakes come out hot and ready.

This has been our go to hotel for the past 2 years. And every time the staff is friendly and very nice. The hotel is very clean! Not very expensive either. Definitely will stay here next time we go back

My stay at the Best Western was very nice. It was off season and very quiet. The Best Western is centrally located on the Bay side. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The free breakfast offered lots of options and everything was very good. I will definitely go back.

The suite was clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everything was as it should be. I will definitely use the Best Western for future stays at the beach. The beach is pristine. The boardwalk is lovely. All in all a much needed pause in a way too busy life.

Alexis and her staff were great. I used reward points to pay for my 3 night say. I was expecting to be in a regular QQN room, but when I arrived Alexis had upgraded me to a QQN suite. Very thankful for the outstanding service. Hotel was beautifully decorated. Good breakfast. Very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ocean City Maryland.

went for bike week. weather was awful but we made the most of it. lots of great places to eat. walked the main streets & boardwalk. this hotel was very reasonably priced. got a complimentary upgrade to a king suite . very comfortable king bed with lots of pillows. 2 flat screen tvs so my husband & I could each watch our own.

We stayed here for three days ocean view king room. So beautiful to wake up to the sunshine overlooking the ocean. Two balconies one facing ocean in the living room the other in the bedroom. So pretty. Worth a trip we will be coming back next year. Very reasonable pricing

As always, my stay at the Best Western is very pleasant. I would definite recommend staying at a Best Western when traveling, on business or vacation. The service is very good. Staff are accommodating and helpful when needed. Clean, convenient and a very good location, as it relates to the Convention Center. Good food near by.

Changed my room location to accommodate someone else after I have made reservations a month in advance. Good thing it had an elevator. Gym was too small and did not have an exercise bike. But overall, it was an average place to stay for the 2 nights.

Booked here because of other favorable visits to Best Western properties. On arrival I was immediately alarmed by the condition of lobby area and had second thoughts about staying. This place needs some serious renovation work. Everything I saw from the lobby, to the elevator and hallways were rundown and quite like walking through a bad B movie about hotels. The room was clean but again really run down. Old bath-fitter type tub and shower. Even the towels needed help. The staff were polite and provided helpful answers to our questions about the area in general. The hotel location is mid-city and there were several stores and shops within easy walking distance. The location and efficient hotel staff are the saving factors of this review.

This hotel is very run down. The price was cheap but honestly there are other hotels in the area with low prices that are much better. Although the linens were likely clean the room seemed very dirty! ! On a positive note the staff was friendly and it was close to nightlife like secrets and fagers island.

We were in Ocean City on one of the coldest days of the year, off season. The first room they put us in blew cold air, no heat. The second room blew warm, but had a broken vent, that we had to open to allow the heat to come out. The towels were very rough & scratchy. The complimentary breakfast left a lot to be desired...we have stayed with other Best Westerns with much better food, & choices! As far as the good points go - the room was quiet, and clean.

Good place to stay in Ocean City. The hotel is really clean for a beach hotel and at a very decent rate. The staff was polite and very helpful. The hotel wasn't that busy so they upgraded my reservation to a suite..sweet..

I stayed 2 nights. I was very comfortable and satisfied, although I didn't really have much time to enjoy the amenities. Staff was very nice and attentive. This sentence is being added because I got notification that my review was too short. Very aggravating!!

Hello, we only stayed one night in December. But the room was clean, the staff was friendly. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, hairdryer, couch, king bed and TV. We did not spend much time there but the bed slept well and the shower pressure was nice. Oh and the tub had jets, but we did not have time to use it. We were on the 4th floor and elevator ran quickly. All in all would recommend. In summer, it would be a good location near all the best bars and restaurants and easy walk to the beach at the cross walk at the light (do not jaywalk on coastal highway!).

Very good, clean, quiet, safe. I go to Berlin to clean my parent's home. All I need is a clean quite safe place to sleep. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Best Western Very clean The carpet looked fresh, I could not hear anyone else in the hotel but as I was 2 doors down from the elevator- I could hear it twice only. It was a quick and easy departure.

We took advantage of the mid week, "Stay 2 Nights, and Get one night free deal". This could not be beat. My family of 4, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, came to the beach for a mini Fall vacation. The automatic upgrade to a suite fit our family perfectly. We were very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. The continental breakfast saved us the cost of having to pay for breakfast, and the hot fresh coffee, 24 hours a day, was a fantastic perk! The entire staff was always helpful and friendly. This is the best deal in town, if you are looking for a getaway on a budget. The location was great too; just one block away from the beach, and a fairly short drive to the boardwalk. We cannot wait to come back and stay at the Best Western Ocean City Hotel and Suites!!!!!!!!!

The Hotel rooms are very clean the housekeeping staff were top notch professionals. We was there 2 years ago and really enjoyed the Breakfast. I was a little disappointed to discover they don't have the waffle maker anymore but the breakfast was still ok with them now having a pancake maker, What stood out to me the most was Alexis and Amanda at the front desk. From the first time I called to check on the room availability until the time I checked out 5 nights later I was treated with the utmost RESPECT and always Greeted with a smiling face and a friendly "How Are You"? They also helped us with SUGGESTIONS on places to eat and things to do for entertainment!!! THANK YOU ALEXIS AND AMANDA for your kindness it went along way in determining what Hotel we will be returning to for a future stay.

This was a pretty good motel. The staff were friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. There was a good hot breakfast. The only problem that I had was getting my bike and gear inside the motel/hotel. The main lobby wasn't handicapped accessible. You have to go into the parking garage on the South side and go up a ramp. The elevator was big enough to get my bike upstairs.

This is a great Hotel , don't let the appearance fool you . The staff are awesome ,the rooms are comfy and clean. Yes the beds need an upgrade,but when your tired and want to get away it will do. My husband and I have been staying there for about 3-4 yrs now twice a yr and the service and Atomospere is so great that we can't pull ourselves to stay anywhere else.

Loved my big room. Staff was very friendly, dispite the crowds and wind and rain. I was there 2 nights in the midst of a major storm that closed schools and a car rally! Very noisy because of the car rally. All in all it was a good experience. Their breakfast was great! I especially liked the pancake maker which I had never seen before! Oh, and it was only 2 lights off Rt. 90 on Coastal Hwy. OC Brewery right next door plus a dunkin donuts a block away.

This is an older building located directly on the Coastal Highway. The rooms were clean and well maintained.The air conditioning units are somewhat noisy though. They offer a continental style breakfast included in the price. Although it is nothing special and consists of mostly pre- packaged goods. The staff was cheery and polite enough.

Great staff all day long. Breakfast was great and plenty but do not look for breakfast meat as it was a true continental spread with a great variety. The suites are your best bets especially if you have little ones with you. Refrigerator, microwave and a sink area.

My husband and I were on our way up here and I was looking for hotels and without seeing them and the area I was kind of sketchy about doing one through expedia. It turned out lovely and it is absolutely clean, very nice room, very nice staff, no weird smells, everything was great. Definitely will be staying here again.
