Best Western Ocala Park Centre I-75

I stayed here for 5 days. Room was bigger than I needed. Very clean. Quiet. The breakfast is in a separate building located next to the pool behind the hotel. Very nice hot and cold breakfast choices. Location was perfect for my trip. The one thing I wish I could give a good rating on was there was no gym on site. You had to go down the highway to a gym club that validated Best Western patrons. Other than that I recommend 100%

This Best Western is a good, clean and safe no-frills hotel. Each morning, there is an extensive and well-prepared breakfast. The breakfast staff is excellent. It is a very clean hotel with attentive housekeeping staff. This location is convenient to multiple restaurants and stores; as well as numerous other businesses.

The purpose of this review is to let everyone know the quality or lack thereof of customer service. I used the Hotels app to reserve a room. The app changed the date without me realizing that had happened. I booked the room. I immediately realized that the date had been changed and I contacted them immediately to cancel the reservation. I was told that they could not help me and to contact the hotel on Monday which I did. I called the hotel and was told I had to talk to the app that I had used to book. The app customer service said they had to contact the hotel for permission to refund my money for a stay that I will not be making. According to the customer service, the general manager of the hotel said that I could not cancel my reservation and my money would not be refunded. I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware of how they treat customers or potential customers. I will NEVER stay at a Best Western again.;

I would give this place a 4.5 Ask for a room opposite the freeway. If your a light sleeper, it can be noisy. Breakfast - eggs and sausage medicore. Forcing me write to a review with 200 characters - why?

So many issues with this brief stay. 1. The overnight front desk agent was rude and short with responses. I inquired about the amount billed to my credit card because I didn't see the $100 gift card fee listed and she explained not to worry. She explained that the billed amount included deposit. 2. I awoke to ants crawling on the night stand and all over my phone. I recorded a video of the ants and planned to show it to the front desk agent during checkout, but another billing issue arose and I forgot to mention the ants. 3. The hot water in the shower was not working. Again, I planned to share this during checkout, but the billing issue took a while and I forgot to mention. 4. Upon check-out, I was greeted by Teri, she was pleasant and good to work with. I asked for a receipt and she gave me one. I went to my car to leave, but took a moment to review my receipt, only to find that my $100 gift card credit was not displayed. I returned to the front desk and asked Teri to check on this for me. She asked if I presented the email with the gift card details when I checked in, I told her that I had tried, but was told not to worry about it. Teri did further research and found that the gift card had been used on February 8th. I confirmed that she was right - I booked the reservation on Best Western's website and entered the gift card information at that time. I showed Teri the email confirmation. Teri called a number and explained the situation, and they told her that I was right, but she needed to call another number to get the matter resolved - the other number would not have someone available for another 2 hours. Teri called me 2 hours later and informed that I would receive a $100 credit to my credit card - I'm not sure when this will happen, but it hasn't happened yet.

This Best Western is in a great location just off I75. With a good price value including a nice breakfast bar. The staff was friendly and acknowledged us as Rewards Members. We had been traveling all day, stuck in traffic and needed a place to stay for the night. The best Western 1-800 Reservations helped us find a place and made our reservations for us. It was a nice experience!

Best Westerns have always been our 'go to' hotels. I'm not there for a vacation, so I dont need a lot of extra perks. Most BW hotels I've stayed at are simple, clean, safe, have friendly staff and are reasonable for pricing - this Ocala hotel is right along the same criteria. The hardest thing with this hotel is the parking is pretty small and the breakfast area is VERY small for the size of the hotel.

Convenient location. The front desk staff are awesome! As a Platinum member, I was offered an upgraded room as well as bottled water and snacks. Very clean room. Carpets looked brand new. Full hot breakfast. Great value!

Would never stay at another best western again it was the worst experience I have ever had that only cleaned my room once over eight days never again .Had to phone for clean sheets coffee soap shampoo and even toilet paper never again

Very nice hotel close to the highway and plenty of food options and stores. Easy check in and staff was very friendly. Clean hotel but the place does need to be updated. Breakfast was very good and had all you need to get you going. Would stay again if in the area.

I was looking for a more moderate priced option than the 200+ dollars we usually spend on a Hampton stay and decided to give this Best Western a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Our expectations were exceeded in several ways. The lobby and breakfast room are small and unimpressive, but the room was clean, the bedding as good or better than the Hampton Inn, and the breakfast had hot options and plenty for all. The air conditioning let me set it well below 70 degrees and was quiet. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Nice, clean hotel in Ocala just off the interstate. The room was good, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Breakfast was well done and they even had grits! That's something you don't see much anymore. Definitely recommend and will stay here again.

This hotel can be described as adequate. The room was clean and the bathroom had a useful separate sink area. The bed was comfortable and the room had an easy chair and ottoman, which were a nice touch. The halls were a little noisy, but the wireless internet worked well.

Spa jets didn't work, knob was missing. Tub in room was clogged so you had water up to ankles when you were done. Elevator was not in service. With that being said I would stay there again as it wasn't stuff that I couldn't deal with.

Had an excellent stay, 6 days. Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and safe. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Amenities were great, pool, corn hole, breakfast room, coffee all day, wifi.. A convenient location to our needs.

It was our first time staying at the best Western, and we could not have had a better experience. It's very close to the interstate, shopping, and restaurants. Every employee that we encountered was kind and courteous and engaging. We found the room to be spotless, the beds, comfortable, and the bathroom clean.

This location is convenient to everything in Ocala. Rooms are extremely clean, breakfast buffet is delicious. Pool, hot tub and fire pit are maintained and are wonderful at night. Staff is attentive and helpful.

The rooms are clean and the pool is a wonderful way to enjoy the evening after a long travel day. Breakfast options are plentiful and they have something for even the most picky! Great experience and we would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. It can be hard enough to find a pet-friendly hotel, and you're often rolling the dice with what you get. Best Western Ocala is a little old and worn, but it was very clean, which is more important to me than shiny and new. The beds were comfortable as well. The breakfast had some nice surprises that aren't found at a typical hotel breakfast. One drawback was that the room wasn't very soundproof, but the room had one of the old-fashioned bathroom fans (which I prefer to the new passive fans) and it created a useful white noise. We left it on, it drowned out hall noise, and we all slept well. I would stay again if we return to the area.

Excellent stay and nice breakfast in the pool clubhouse....clean rooms, maid very helpful..all the room amenities worked....room lacked a freezer but the from desk handled that for us with ease....clean breakfast. Very accommodating to Service dogs. Dog approved room.

Conveniently just off the highway and Dunkin donuts just down the street as well as a cracker barrel right next door. Breakfast was a bust for me as the eggs weren't that tasty. Bathtub shower did not drain very fast but nice hot water. Although the elevator worked it seemed a bit sketchy to me so I used the stairs for three floors. Probably would not stay again.

Great location but room was furnished with only the basic necessities. When asked for extra pillows we were informed they had none. Only 2 towels and one very thin blanket were provided in the room. Hallways not clean, very worn. Our floor was dirty upon arrival. Breakfast was good though. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Gave my husband a backache. We were there for 3 nights. Overall just an average hotel. Not up to Best Western standards.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Great variety of hot foods and take away foods at breakfast! Also, coffee stands out in the hall if you want to avoid the crowds. Very clean, nice rooms, good location.

Great location just off the highway. But very quite, , clean and comfortable. Very accommodating. Walmart right next door. Restaurant was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful. Walk in shower which was very nice.

We were welcomed to the hotel by Monika, the front desk person. She thanked us for being a rewards member, offered water and an upgrade! We had just finished a grueling 11 hour drive and that was so nice! The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a complete hot and cold breakfast available. The entire staff were so helpful. We will choose this hotel again!

Clean room,comfortable bed, friendly staff, good breakfast. Secure area. We would definitely stay there again. It was close to the freeway and easy to find. It was too cold for the pool but the pool area looked clean and inviting.

Poor customer service and rude front desk. I booked a no refundable room by mistake and immediately called to change it to the more expensive refundable room. They were not willing to help and were very rude on the phone. I travel to Ocala often and will not book this hotel again.

This is well run and on nicer side of this chain of budget hotels. They have a pool and nice very small outdoor area that fills up quickly on weekends. Offer one of the better breakfast spreads I have seen must must really get there when it opens as free food attracts large rude VERY RUDE these days crowd. Very few seats for amount of people trying to eat so suggest you bring some of your own ways to transport and eat elsewhere. Beds comfortable and was warm water for shower. Can walk to Cracker barrel and burger king easily if you have no mobility issues. Really nice to have sofa to sit and watch Tele!

1/3 during hurricane Ian stayed one night and they charged me over $500 trying to say to me that I extended my stay when I was already home the manager was condescending an arrogant and totally ripped me off and will not work with me that's why I am writing this review to let all of you know not to stay there the rooms are dirty the wheels are falling off the carts and the food is Dollar store quality would never go back I don't care how big the hurricane is

Our stay was very good. Our check in was quick and friendly as well as our check out. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was well plenitude and clean.

This hotel was very convienently located right off I75. Room was large and quiet, bed was comfortable and clean. The room, however, had a strong, unpleasant, stale odor (like body odor) and it was not clean. Corners, ledges, backs of table tops were dusty/dirty.

Found dried blood in my bed, so clearly the sheets are not changed in between stays. Normally I check a room but was so tired driving all night I didn't find it until morning. Normally I complain, but if they don't bother to check/change linens, that kind of decision comes from management, so why bother they clearly are behind this behavior.

From the moment I arrived I was greeted with a smile and courtesy. The entire atmosphere was great. The room was spotless and very comfortable. It was a good location for traveling North to South. Would recommend highly.

This Best Western is conveniently located next to I-75. They are in close proximity to many restaurants and stores. The free breakfast is a wonderful amenity they offer. One of the nicest things about staying here is the staff. They are always very friendly.

The hotel was great and service was on point all except if you are booking for a large group and want to be all on the same floor they tell you it can be done but when you get to the hotel it's not upheld. We needed all our rooms on the same floor due to having a team full of young kids and was told they couldn't hold the rooms like that until we were there in person. We booked the rooms weeks in advance. This caused us to be separated on different floors and had to find more chaperones for our children and being so far away from home this was not easy. Other than thos issues it was a great place

We were headed to Tampa for a cruise and we stayed in Ocala over night and got up the next day to drive in to Tampa. We were close to I 75 and we felt very safe. The room was nice and the free breakfast was pretty good too. We have stayed here before and we will stay again.

I have not one time been at Best Western that I had a bad experience. The room was always so nice and clean and spotless. I don't feel like I have to check the covers or sanitize the toilets. They take pride in making sure the rooms are clean like they would their own place. And that makes you feel very comfortable to stay at a place a feel you are able to sleep safe. This will always be my go to choice of motel any where I go.

Stopped on way home to Ft Myers and being stuck in traffic for most of the day. We usually stay at a higher priced chain across 75 and just thought we would try the BW. Half the price, rooms were spacious, well appointed and just as nice as the other. Breakfast was included and the tastiest hot breakfast! Cheese omelets. Scrambled eggs, kielbasa. Pork sausage, pancakes, and then the basic assorted cold options. To top it all off all the staff was pleasant and accommodating!

I have stayed at the facility before. It didn't seem as nice this time. I come to the area to visit family. The property does not have Smart TVs. There were several property maintenance issues noted such as a sticky door and a broken key lock access that made a back outer door unsecured even at night. There are several other properties in the same area at the same price point. I may try one of those on my next visit.

When I arrived the front desk had me already set up and checked in . I took less than a minute to be on my way to the room. That was very appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, everything worked as it should and the breakfast was much better than other hotels. Actually had real food on it.

If you're looking for southern hospitality and a nice hot breakfast, then Best Western Ocala is the one!!! They are kind, friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was a true winner. I was overwhelmed to see turkey bacon and home fried potatoes for breakfast. Finally, something other then pork for breakfast.

I original book from9/24 to 9/28 but check out on Tuesday bcse of the on coming hurricane I wasn't going to drive in raining conditions we didn't know how bad was going to get. And I ask to extend my stay on Monday they had book (Sold out) knowing you had tourist at least ask. I did they say need to call your third party. Booking.com have try numerous times to speak to them to get refund for 1 day due to hurricane. I call spoke to manager said don't matter if was book out early bcse of hurricane, they won't refund the money. And talk about weed smell in the hotel was awful. Not sure if this franchise but this management and staff will but Beat Western bad name. Never again in my life.

The front desk clerk Monika was absolutely horrid. We were traveling from Punta Gorda where my home was destroyed in the hurricane. We had a truck and small enclosed trailer. There were literally 40 empty parking spaces and we were backed up next to the dumpster. An employee came to our truck and told us we had to go across the street to the closed Cracker Barrel to park. Literally every thing I had left was in that trailer. I asked Monica if we could stay in the lot and she said absolutely not. I explained our situation and she still refused. Heartless soul less creature they gave up front representing their company. I am done with Best Western. Went across the street to La Quinta and had no problems at all.

Busy but easy check in. Very nice room, clean and well maintained, Comfortable bedding. Wifi reasonably fast. Downside - The legion of smokers just outside the hotel. Loud a/c in room. Carpeting in the stairwell behind the elevator needs replacing. Ice machine on 3rd floor "out of order".Free breakfast in the pool cabana but the staff were not engaging and overwhelmed. I would stay there again.

stood overnight here the service was awesome ,the rooms were immaculate . The breakfast was extremely good,fruit,cereal, juice bacon,sausage,eggs and more. The pancakes were made by an automatic machine( fun to watch) Great deal!!

Everything is always nice at this Hotel when we come. It's been a while since we visit. I had truly forgotten how uncomfortable the beds are to me., but I've made my own adjustments so I can get the rest that I was looking for. We will defiantly be back soon for some more much needed RNR. Thanks for the Hospitality as usual.

The rooms were perfect for the low prices I paid. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. Many reviews said the highway kept them up all night but I didn't hear a thing! Breakfast was alright, definitely not something for everyone though!

Very clean and safe with outstanding customer. Advertised hot tub not working and appeared not to have been for some time, no sign of progress. Limited healthy breakfast options, though yogurt was very good; bananas were green one day.

Stayed here with my wife and brother in law. This is second year in a row that we have stayed here in July. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. I rate it a four, but we had no problems at all and over all had a pleasant stay. Just don't expect the Ritz-Carlton,

I am so glad I chose Best Western. When we walked in the room I was very relieved. I usually check the bed and are very picky about the covers wondering if they had been washed. But this room was so clean and fresh. We enjoyed our stay is was very comfortable and relaxing. Great Customer service! I will definitely be going back for sure.

Your home away from home...beautiful and clean, staff super friendly and available to help with anything. Hot breakfast daily, includes eggs- scrambled, omelettes or boiled, potatoes, sausages, fruits, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and pastries. Conveniently located just a few miles from World Equestrian Center, Silver Springs State park, Rainbow River State park, OBS (Ocala Breeder's Sales) etc. Definitely worth a stop if you're heading or passing thru Ocala. And Josh at the front desk is top notch!

Clean and comfortable place to rest your head. This Best Western was your basic run of the mill hotel. There was construction going on on the property that we were not notified of prior to booking. The elevator broke down but was repaired by the next morning. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Was here for me and my family when went threw a tornado in march...great place to stay. Melissa and her staff went out of the way for us when we need a place to stay because we were in a tornado and lost our apartment

This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. I stayed one night. The room was clean and dust free. The breakfast was simple and satisfactory. The ladies working in the breakfast room kept the food stocked and the tables clean. I went swimming in the morning before zi checked out. The pool is heated. The hot tub was working and it felt great.

Good for a one night stopover,driving from Asheville to Sanibel room was clean,bed was comfortable,front desk check fast and friendly,breakfast had nice hot and cold variety.Close to highway,great variety of inner spots close by. However,beyond one night,not so sure.Rooms in the rear face 75,traffic VERY noisy,but the traffic noise is drowned out by the even noiser a/c unit.So if your a light sleeper,may not work for you,otherwise okay.

Clean Hotel with friendly helpful staff. Nice pool, hot tub and fire pit. Noise from highway a little loud if your room is on that side. Other than that location very good. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

I woke up at 3am to use the restroom and found this. My husband pulled down the covers and found three more bed bugs. Manager was rude stating all hotels have bed bugs and why did I wait til my third night to mention it. I truly wish I had known before I slept in the bed three nights. The stress this has caused is ridiculous!

Nice place amenities and staff. But if you get a room against the I-75 corridor you better not mind loud traffic all night long. I really liked the separate breakfast lodge area, very spacious. Nice bed and pillows.

Nice room and comfortable bed for a quick one night stay on our way to Naples, Fl. Good breakfast in the outdoor room near the pool. Reasonable rates. Nice area with plenty of good restaurants. Convenient to shopping as well. Would stay here again.

We felt that they were using Covid precautions to skimp on services like maid, towels, amenities, etc. There was a 10% damage fee added (which hopefully will be refunded in a week). It's old and in need of some updating. The price was still rather hefty for what it is.

Easy access off 200 and easy access to downtown, just don't try to go back down 200. That's a bear that doesn't need to be tackled. The light back onto 200 will get you across or back to the east and downtown if needed, but the right turn out and onto 200 farther west is much easier.

Okay the good is the overall room and breakfast. The housekeeping and breakfast help were very good and very friendly. Josh was good and another older lady but the management especially Melissa stinks. My car window was smashed in their parking lot and Melissa could not have cared less. She is an unfeeling person and one of the coldest employees I have ever encountered. Also, I am closing on a house in a few days and needed one of my credit cards to remain zero balance for underwriting and these idiots charged this card twice even though twice I have them my credit union card to use. The left hand does not even know they have a right hand. I mean really. How ignorant.

We stayed for an overnight during a road trip. Our room was extra comfortable: large with a sofa and chair area. Our only criticism would be that the towels were a little thin, and that the blanket was not warm enough. Breakfast was good, but the breakfast room (in a separate building) was a little too crowded for these Covid days. Restaurants were within a convenient distance. We would recommend as a place to stay while traveling.

This property is well kept and decorated. Clean common areas and room, with incredible small conveniences like an extra blanket for the bed. The staff took excellent care of me, and offered quick check in/out.

The staff was very friendly, very helpful, breakfast was a full hit meal, saved money on eat out, rooms where clean and neat. Close to I-75, restaurants within walking distance. Bathroom was very clean.

This was a pleasant place to stay at. The staff was friendly, the entire facility was maintained well. The room was in great condition , it had nice furniture, a comfortable bed with CLEAN bedding, good TV service and strong internet service. We had a quiet night of sleep. The breakfast area was spacious and clean and there was a good selection of breakfast items to choose from. We had a small service dog with us and the hotel had a dedicated nice area with doggy bags for our pet.

Beware of booking from a Saturday night to Sunday. This location jacks the room rate up to around a $100 more for the Saturday night stay! Handicap room was not big enough for a wheelchair to maneuver. Otherwise location seems to be well maintained and in a good location.

Nice rooms easy check in and probably the best Free Hotel Breakfast I ever had . The rooms were updated and very nice . Parking and entry into the hotel was simple and easy to do . Quiet nice hotel and we will deff be back

Location is perfect. right off the interstate, well maintained busy hotel. Pool looked inviting but the front staff was great. Friendly Professional and efficient. Cracker Barrel next door made it easy to stretch your legs after a day in the car. quiet even through the hotel was packed. Great internet. That is impressive

Great customer service. We needed a first floor room and the desk clerk did her very best to make it happen. Our room was clean and looked to have a recent update. In a very convenient location with restaurants & shopping close by. We would definitely stay here again.

Completely updated and renovated hotel. The hot breakfast was AMAZING and cooked at the hotel by Catherine. Scrambled eggs with cheese and cut ham! Just well beyond what we expected for a hotel at this affordable price level. Clean inside and out. Literally 60 seconds off I-75 in a safe section of town. Every single staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

This best western was nice and clean and the staff very friendly and always willing to answer or help with any questions you have. The breakfast was good and plenty of restaurants gas stations and shopping close by. My stay was great

We decided to stay here on our way home from Key West after getting a late start in the day. This was a great place to stay at. We have Diamond Select and the staff thanked us for our loyalty and gave us a snack bag and extra points. Our room was clean and comfortable. Even though the hotel is right near the interstate, we didn't hear much noise at all. Having a Cracker Barrel right next door was an added bonus. The hotel is easily accessible from I-75 at Exit 350. We would definitely stay here again

When visiting my mother and father in Ocala Florida I decided to give this place a try. The check-in process was extremely easy and the establishment was very clean. It had a nice pool area with a gas fire pit and cornhole games to play. The breakfast in my mind was very good for any free breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable. Location was perfect. Would stay here again.

Great rooms, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of anything you could want from hot to cold options, all fresh and delicious. ALL staff was very kind and helpful. Very nice considering we were there for a family funeral.

I was disappointed by this particular hotel, although it claimed to be pet friendly, i I did not feel like it was. First off, it is pricey ($30/night +$50 cleaning fee) for my little 15lb dog. What we didn't know until we checked in was there was an entire page of rules to follow. I felt like my dog was barely allowed to be on the floor. If you're not traveling with pets, I would recommend this hotel, but if your pet is part of the family, find another hotel.

We traveled with a service animal and this pet friendly property was very clean. The room smelled nice and everything was spotless. The staff was beyond accommodating and gave us a ground floor room as we requested. Location is amazing … right off I75 with Cracker Barrel in walking distance. Stayed there on our way to NC and one week later on our way home to Miami.

This is my second visit to BW Ocala Park Centre hotel. I was visiting family in Ocala aka horse country. Ocala is one of the fastest growing cites in the Sunshine State, with a southern charm and atmosphere. This BW hotel in Ocala is an incredibly under rated property. The staff has always been polite and friendly. The hotel prices are also comparable with other hotel chains in the area. I really enjoyed my visit.

Very peaceful, private, and enjoyable. Everyone (staff) was so friendly and accommodating. I would recommend everyone who is looking for a great value and great accommodations, also conveniently located, book your next vacation at The Best Western.

This hotel was once a favorite but after this last stay will be a "no". We have been coming here for 5 years and had not been back for almost 2 years since Covid. The hotel has not aged well. Monika at the front desk did remember us and was warm and welcoming, but that was where the good vibe ended. The room had a weird funk that never went away, the window was bolted shut so no way to let fresh air in. The walls are thin and we heard kids yelling and running in the halls all hours of the night. The decor is old and tired, carpets are nasty and threadbare, rooms need upgrades. Not enough luggage carts for the amount of guest traffic and the common areas are also tired. The breakfast was a joke, tables too close and the server could not keep up with cleaning and disinfecting. We opted to take food back up to the room since we did not feel safe. That option was a challenge, since every day a food or drink option was unavailable or very low...who runs out of Orange Juice in FLORIDA? Quality of food was not good, biscuits were rock hard after the first day and a request made for fresher ones was answered with a surly "don't have any". It was just too sad since we loved this place...time to find a new favorite. The prices were just not worth the services.

Simply the best place to stay in Ocala. Great complimentary breakfast, big heated pool. The rooms are as comfortable as you can find any where. I always stay at this hotel when I have the means. A true beauty!

Stayed at this hotel previously and have found that it is a great place to stay in Ocala with a great price compared to other hotels in the area. It is convenient to Rt 200 and several restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and courteous; the rooms are clean and comfortable. Definitely my choice in Ocala.

We changed hotel chains from La Quinta to Best Western Ocala and had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Rooms smelled fresh, breakfast was even being served, friendly caring staff. The outside amenities around the pool were truly enjoyable as was the fire pit. Wonderful hotel!

Best Western is usually great and this place was no exception. We did not reserve just popped in. Desk clerk was welcoming and accommodating. A minor problem in our room was immediately taken care of with a smile.

Hotel was good except breakfast tasted cheap and no waffles.Cofee watered down and bacon egg and cheese biscuits fell apart.Everything else was good for the price. Friendly staff clean saw no bugs has a pool

Check in was smooth and breakfast availability was great, but that is where the good ended. The entire hallway on the 2nd floor smelled strongly of marijuana, and my child had to walk through it! Did not feel safe at all in our room! Attempted to swim with my child, and watched 2 drug deals in the pool area!! I left as early as possible the next morning, and will never stay at this BW again! Terrible night!!

I always stay at this hotel when I go to Ocala. My daughter & her family live so I visit a few times a year. The hotel has always been clean, staff very friendly and I the beds are very comfortable. There's places to eat that we can walk to and not far from a Walgreen's and a Publix. Can't wait to return in a few weeks when my first great grandchild is born. See ya soon BW!

I had 2 pets with me that I would rather not board in a kennel because it's expensive and I would really rather bring with me anywhere. Best Western is pet friendly with pet fee and was convenient in that

This is the very first time I've stayed at a Best Western and was extremely satisfied. The room was clean and it seemed as though they had remodeled. I stayed at another hotel in the general area and I would never stay there again. They said that they had remodeled but that was not so. Also there were small roaches on the dressing table next to the bed. I will always stay at this Best Western to and from Florida. The hotel is well situated with fast food and family restaurant in walking distant and a gas station close by. Even though their breakfast was modified because of Covid-19, there was a variety of wrapped sandwiches to choose from, the cereal were in bowls and covered with plastic, even the fruits were wrapped in plastic. I left for my trip home with a full stomach.

I will say that check in and check out was fast. WIFI was fine. The room was clean, but had a weird underlying chemical smell that did not go away. The decor is old and tired. The entire building is old and tired. I have also stayed in several hotels in this area of Ocala and have never heard the road noise as loud as this hotel. You hear everything. Inside and outside of the hotel. There is one elevator. It is the slowest elevator I have ever used. We timed it. You can wait a full five minutes for the elevator to come, even in the middle of the night when no one is around. The worst issue about this hotel is the parking lot. If you go out to dinner and stay out past 10pm. Good luck finding a parking space when you return. This hotel seems to cater to transient workers. Big trucks and trailers park sideways and take up 8 and 10 spots each. We couldn't park and watched several other cars drive around and not find spots either. When I told the women at the desk, they shrugged and said that people don't follow the rules and there was nothing they could do about it. So you have a rule that you will not enforce? Brilliant. It's a long walk when you have to park at a surrounding business because you can't park at your hotel. Stay at the Holiday Inn. It's not worth saving the ten dollars a night for this place.

Great personnel--Rita, at the front desk, personified what hospitality personnel should be as did all staff we encountered. The breakfast attendent, working under virus restrictions provided a good hot breakfast--ham & eggs, sausage gravy, etc.--all in lidded, heavy container s that could be taken to your room...plenty of cold items, sealed pastry, etc. Thumbs Up--good job all around. The room was spotless as well!

The room was clean and comfortable and the price was very reasonable. We were pleased and perfectly satisfied during our stay. We left very early and didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that. Check in and out was fast and easy.

Workers are very quick, efficient, and respectful. My room was clean and came with extra grooming/cleaning supplies. What I liked most about my stay was, unlike holiday inn, they had a hot tub for me to unwind in. Truly a nice solo stay.

This is very over priced. Much better hotels right around that are higher quality for the same price. It's nothing fancy so just plan to sleep and go. The breakfast is not worth it plan to go next door to Cracker Barrel. If this was 70-80$ a night I would have said it's good but the price doesn't match what you get.

Our experience during this weekend was very relaxing as always I loved the idea of finally being able to have turkey sausage being that I don't eat pork or beef. We will definitely be back soon hoping that the jacuzzi be working.

No water pressure in showers couldn't even get soap out of my hair. Lady at front desk needs to get glasses or a different job. Took 45 minutes to check in because she had to literally get 2 inches from computer screen to see it then behind close to keyboard to hunt and peck the keys.

I was in Ocala because I was competing at the World Equestrian Center. This hotel was an easy drive to the facility. I stayed at the hotel for 11 nights and found it a great place to come back to after a long day at the horse show. I will definitely stay here again next year.

My children and self always enjoy staying at this hotel due to the wonderful staff. The staff are always willing to go over and beyond to help accomendate your families needs while you are a guest there with them. The staff respect your privacy and also offer hot breakfast in which many hotels no longer provide during this time. When traveling this helps to not have to make extra stops to eat. The staff also ensure that the rooms are very clean and we have never had to complain about the rooms or service that we have received while staying at the Best Western.

This hotel more than met our expectations! The hotel staff was extremely friendly and professional. The only issue was the showerhead was not great. I understand water saving measures are important, but that showerhead was not sufficient.

All of the staff were very nice. The hotel allows pets. I had always heard that usually doesn't mean cats, but they even let me stay with my two cats. The breakfast was pretty good considering we stayed during COVID-19 restrictions. I've stayed at some hotels during COVID-19 that give you a terrible breakfast. The pool was heated and there was a nice area to hang out and enjoy the fire pit. It was a wonderful stay.

Our experience here was great. Everything was COVID conscious from the front desk, to the breakfast the next morning. Beds were extremely comfortable and overall experience was great. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

We only stayed one night in the hotel. Staff were friendly, but during this COVID period many were not wearing their masks. The person at the front desk had a mask but not over his nose. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Hotel is off of a well trafficked main road so you could hear cars continually passing.

This hotel is an excellent choice for dog owners. The lobby and rooms are what you would expect from any moderately priced hotel, but they will accommodate your dog for an additional $25. The area around the hotel is suitable for walking your dog as well. Our dog is a well behaved 95 lbs German Shepard and he was well received by the staff and guests.

We booked our reservation on our way to Ocala and when we arrived the clerks were not attentive. They finally asked if we had a reservation and we said yes and told them we had a dog (13 lbs). One of the clerk's said that the reservation didn't reflect a dog and that it would up the charge which we knew. She also told us we could not leave the dog in the room so we weren't able to go for a quick dinner. The internet instructions were incorrect as we were unable to ever connect to the internet. The room itself was very nice. Reviewing based on having a 13 lb dog traveling with you!

A no frills lobby, with a quick friendly check in. Rooms have been renovated and despite an outdated layout, the room was very clean. Bring a sleep mask if light bothers you as the hotel is right off the interstate and while we did not hear road noise, light did come through our blinds. My only real complaint was the mattress. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Pre-made/wrapped breakfast sandwiches, boiled eggs, cereals, fruit...impressive for a COVID19 breakfast. Parking spaces were wide, and plentiful.

My Family of 7 decided to do an impromptu vacation to kayak the Springs. This hotel was so nice, the kids wanted to go back early to play here, They played in the pool while I enjoyed the fire pit outside. It was truly a Vacation!!!

Friendly staff, clean facility, nice rooms. We use to stay at a competitor but this place is nicer and costs less. It is good to have a hot breakfast with the Covid situation, which we didn't get at the other place.

Rooms were clean. Great location for softball famies traveling for tournaments there. Staff was friendly. Staff was able to accommodate my stay with our dog as although I knew that they allowed pets, I was not aware of the policy of how to book the room online as I did not see the options. I was advised that the ground floor was for pets. I never had a problem booking a pet friendly hotel and showing up with my pet. But as I mentioned, they worked it out with me. The other thing is that I did not like that my dog was not allowed to be in the room alone. This was a first as well for me in a pet friendly hotel. I am paying a pet stay price per day and per their site a $50 refundable charge if room is not damaged from the pet. Many hotels right now who serve free breakfast are not serving what they normally would due to COVID. They are doing grab and go breakfast which could be a muffin, fruit, juice, and granola bar,, etc. This was the best hotel for breakfast as they call it their enhanced grab and go. They had biscuits and gravy, breakstfast sandwiches, boiled eggs, different breads for toast or bagels and cream cheese.. everything was out in a Covid friendly environment. They had gloves so you can use to serve yourself. We would definitely stay here again!

Second time staying. It is now our regular stop over on our way to Sanibel. Love that pool is open til 10 so our granddaughter can get some of her energy out while I enjoy the hot tub. Walk right across parking lot to cracker barrel.

My stay at this hotel was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! And the thing that made it wonderful were the employees! First off, let me start by saying, I know the employees by name as I stayed at this hotel for about 3 weeks waiting on the sale and closing of my house. That being said, the first night I checked in, Melissa, who is the general manager of the hotel made me feel very warm and inviting while I was checking in. As the days came and went, Teri who also works at the front desk with another woman by the name of Monika would always speak to me as I passed by going out to smoke a cigarette. Which made me feel more like "family" instead of just a "guest" staying in a hotel. And then on other occasions, I felt with Josh, who is the assistant general manager, who by the way had a great sense of humor! During my stay, with my 3 month old kitty cat; YES, this hotel is also pet friendly!!! Cause if you're like me, your pet is FAMILY! During my stay i was bringing items in from my home, the store, etc. and always was asked by 3 gentleman if I needed help. Robert, who is in maintenance; went out of his way to gladly get me a refrigerator that wasn't freezing everything!! And was always willing to carry what I had and happy to unload or load whatever I had. And also had a wonderful personality!! And not only Robert always seemed to be there, but also Steve who never hesitated when I needed something fixed, like my phone. And also willing to help me carry anything I had in my hands. And then there was John, who is house maintenance who was always there to get me extra items that I may have needed such as towels, tolitpaper, etc. Then there was my wonderful housekeeper, Ashley, she kept my room spotless everyday!! Always kept my bed linens changed every few days and always would double check if there was anything extra that I may have needed! I really don't mean to write a whole entire book on my stay, I'm just trying to let everyone who stays in hotels that this hotel goes OVER AND BEYOND to make you feel welcome and treats you just like FAMILY!!! Not every hotel does that!! Especially now s days!! So if you're ever in Ocala, Florida; take my word, Best Western Ocala Park Centre is the hotel to stay at!!

I have stayed here before, with no complaints. The staff was fine, friendly and efficient. The room, however, was sub par. Amenities were sadly lacking...no lotion, no conditioner, and no tissues! I like to turn the temp down and use an extra blanket at night, but no extras to be found. I have a hard time blaming all this on Covid 19!! More like a decline in quality.

I stayed there on 8/28-8/29 for work. They have a large parking lot that fit my 26ft box truck and have the availability for larger trucks in the Cracker Barrel over sized lot across the street. The room was comfortable with good hot water and a comfortable bed. It's easy access to I-75 and plenty of places to eat.

I love this hotel and the salt water pool is my favorite! Family oriented and comfortable. Conveniently the hotel is within walking distance to everything including Cracker Barrel l and Cheddars. Comfy beds and clean rooms

BW hosted our baseball team. Great customer service and great rates! Clean rooms and great pool club house for groups. We certainly enjoyed our stay! Our team will happily stay again next time we have an Ocala tournament.

I stayed here with a friend for a weekend visit to Silver Springs and Ocala National Forest. The location is quite convenient as it is right off I-75 and near many restaurants and stores. Cracker Barrel restaurant is located right beside the hotel parking lot and other places like Chick Fil A, Chilis, and Olive Garden are just a couple minutes drive down the street. Our room was very clean and they seemed to be adhering to stringent cleaning practices. The only issues we encountered was in regards to the service. When we asked for things like towels or more toilet paper, the request would be forgotten and we would have to ask again. Then there was inconsistencies in information that was provided. When my friend called the front desk to ask how long breakfast would be served, we were told 10am. However, when we went down to eat there was no breakfast and the staff told us it finished at 9am. If it were not for little aggravations like this, my experience would have garnered a higher rating.

We had a great one night stay here as we were driving down to south Florida. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The check in person gave us suggestions on where to go for dinner and we enjoyed our night there. The price can't be beat for the quality provided. I would stay again if we were in the area.

Very clean including pool and hot tub. So happy our new yearly stop off on way to Sanibel. Granddaughter got energy out in pool, while my daughter and I got to enjoy the hot tub. Right off interstate and plenty of stores and restaurants around.

Exterior of the bulding was nice and clean. The lobby was sparkling. All the staff was freindly and helpful. Great accomodations for those on a budget. Our only issue was it was we had a difficult time locating the facility. That is not the hotels fault, just a heads up to have directions in hand and don't rely on the internet.

Rooms were recently renovated and were updated and clean. Bed was comfortable, larger screen TV with lots of channels. Room temperature, easily controlled. Nice breakfast area, coffee 24/7. Staff very nice and helpful. Tons of nearby restaurants.

Large rooms, and always super clean. Nice pool and jacuzie, also super clean. Rooms on the west side are nice and quiet. The staff is great. Good parking available, and added extra is a sweet fire pit outside with loung chairs around it give you a homey feeling. People actually chat with you. Nice!

Clean refurbished mid price range travelers accommodations. Convenient to expressway, many food choices, gas. Have stayed here before and will do so again. I recommend this particular way point to anyone traveling north or south on I-75.

Nice clean and comfortable room with free parking near to the main road south. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a free coffee machine in the lobby. We were given some good advice when we asked about the location for a morning walk. Shalom park just a few miles away was lovely. The hotel is just a short walk to Cracker Barrel where you can get a good evening meal. The hotel breakfast did not impress us. The small room with plastic knives and forks and a limited choice was poor.

My family and I stay at this hotel a couple times per year and have always had great customer service; however, this time it was especially outstanding. One evening we found our car wouldn't start as we were leaving the hotel for dinner. One of the hotel's employees from the maintenance department (Robert) went above and beyond to help us. He even stayed past his shift, on his own personal time, to help with getting our car up and running. This hotel is very fortunate to have such a considerate and conscientious employee such as Robert. Additionally, Kathryn in the hotel's breakfast room is outstanding as well. She keeps the place spotless and is so very helpful and friendly to all.

Rooms are nice, good amenities and comfortable. Front desk very helpful and wanting t please,they work hard at it. We had an issue and they did nt hesitate to take care if us. Very happy with our stay and the convenience to everything e did was great. Close to major highways easy access!

Room ok, like most Best Westerns. Breakfast not good. Can't believe in a Tuesday morning they ran out of plastic knives and also no regular waffle batter. Lady working in dining area, picking her teeth and then handling food. Won't be back.

Robert, one of the maintenance guys, was very friendly and helpful when we had an issue with one of the toilets in our room. he exhausted every resource to fix issue at hand before getting us new keys to room next door. We have stayed at Best Western twice on our trips to Ocala. Never disappointed. Check-in was quick and pleasant. We had a king suite which was large and comfortable. The hotel is in a nice part of town near shopping and restaurants. Do not hesitate to book a room here. They provide a nice breakfast each morning. Hot and cold items. It was a very pleasant stay.

We had a room with 2 double beds. The room is small but nice, clean and recently updated. It is clear that they take great pride in cleanliness at this hotel. Gotta love that and breakfast is also very good and included with your stay.

Its an older property thats been completely renovated so it seems newer, The beds and linens were fresh and comfortable the breakfast was good and fast but mostly carbs. The front desk staff is very nice and every kind of restaurant and shop you could need is within a mile of the hotel. The pool is heated and the hot tub is only a little warm not really hot. They are next to 75 so its very loud out there. Bathrooms are nice and the water gets very warm with a powerful spray. NIce big rooms.

We stayed at the Best Western at Ocala Park Centre last night as we have been working our way south from Wisconsin to Ft. Meyers, Florida. We were given a room on the 4th floor. It was nice and comfortable and clean. The only downside is that we're right off of I-75 (very convenient) but you can hear the highway noise in your room. The fan from the heater/air conditioner dampened it a bit. I'd stay here again!

Property was very humid and moist with resultant odor. Had fans blowing at each end of my floor to apparently help carpet dry but wasn't working. TV remote didn't work although maintenance came very quickly to repair. Staff was nice and room was clean and outside appearance was lovely but would not stay again due to the moisture.

In the course of traveling we stayed at this Best Western on Christmas night. The room was clean and had been modernized. The bathroom showed it's age a little but everything was functioning well. The breakfast was nice and my daughter was pleased with almond milk being available since she is lactose intolerant. The staff was top notch from the desk, food staff and even maintenance people. All were cheerful and quick to offer help despite it being a holiday. Would recommend for the traveling family a great value stop.

I returned to the motel a week later. The online booking agents at BW charged me more than my previous stay. The front desk staff and manager worked to give me a lower rate for the rooms. That restored my faith in BW. Thank you.

The Ocala Best Western was clean and comfortable. Being centrally located to downtown and our business to the west. Every employee was polite and helpful. The breakfast was not missing anything. The price was perfect for a multi-night stay.

The hotel appeared to be updated in some aspects but it felt like the "upgrades" were on the cheaper side. The room felt moist and it smelled as though they use to allow smoking in the rooms. They also allow pets and the rooms have carpet, which is disgusting to me. The breakfast was food, or what appeared to be food, I'm not exactly sure how all of that was cooked in only a microwave. I wouldn't stay at this location if I'm ever in the area again.

We happened to stop at this hotel for an overnight on our trip south. We got a great room, facing a gorgeous park, where we had a wonderful night's sleep in quiet comfort. The bed was very comfortable, the tv worked, the facilities were great. The breakfast was served in an adjoining building with a full range of delicacies, and a very attentive waitress.

We needed a place for an overnight and our stay at Best Western in Syracuse, NY was nice so we used BW again. The desk clerk was friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean; especially the bathroom. Breakfast was fresh and good.

We were fortunate Leroy and Monika were working at the Front Desk when we checked in. They welcomed us like family. We have visited similar locations as they have. Nice clean hotel with reasonable prices. It was a great location for us.

Our hotel room was spacious and clean. We had a room with 2 double beds. The odd numbers abut the road exit, so it's a bit noisy. The staff was friendly and check in was smooth. The breakfast was in the clubhouse room and had a lot of hot selections, including oatmeal bar, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The only drawback was a faulty shower handle which didn't allow the water to get very hot.

Hotel is in great location off of I-75 and near lots of shopping and restaurants. Price is fair and staff is very welcoming. Only drawback is that we didn't like what was available for breakfast - we ended going out to a local restaurant. Try to get an even number room as the odd numbers are on the back, facing I-75. Didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper, it may.

Stop over on rte to Tampa to meet daughter and husband and all visit with son and family and all go deep sea fishing. Weather did not cooperate 7ft waves,made boat captain cancel trip. We ate seafood,visited, sent the NC family back home and returned to our home in north Georgia. We'll try again A And stay in Ocala at this property again.Hopefully no airplane crashing too close to our hotel next time.Thst was scary and sad.

This hotel is in a great location with alot of restaurantr near by. All the staff from the front desk to the maintenance people give you a friendly hello. There is a outdoor cat that lives on the property we were told has been there for years, he also greets you and is friendly.

Firendly staff, clean rooms, and the kids enjoyed breakfast and the pool. The housekeeping here is top notch and everyone is so friendly. I always stay here when in Ocala and we will be back again. I really love the green program that you are running.

This BestWestern was better than most in the chain. Room was clean and well furnished, Their breakfast area was far too small and could not handle the number of guests in the hotel. The food was standard hotel fare, but seating was not available and it was located in a separate structure which is not opened until the 7:00 start time.

My room was not cleaned for 2 days. I reported this to the front desk after the first day and was told it would be taken care of. I had to report it again and a maintenance man was sent. No one at the front desk bothered to follow up with me about the problem.

It is always a great stay. Front desk people are always ready to help with ideas for dinner. The beds were so very comfortable and room itself clean and nicely decorated. Also a good selection for snacks, coffee, and breakfast.

From the both times I've stayed, This place is simply the best place to stay in Ocala. Extremely nice, helpful and fast front desk. That don't mind moving somethings around to place you in a better room.

Great staff, clean hotel with hot tub and pool, nice firepit and yard games (corn hole and Connect Four), and safe and convenient location. The only minor negative was highway noise from that side of the building.

Overall, the price, breakfast, etc. was acceptable. Clean hotel, updated feel/look. This hotel does NOT have a fitness center and the cleaning staff does not replenish items used (shampoo, sugar, etc.)

The added fire pit out by the pool and corn hole game are super fun additions to just relax after a big day of jeep events! Breakfast is always awesome.. The kids love to make their own waffles and we enjoy the hot foods :)

The Best Western Ocala provided a comfortable overnight stopover on a road trip to Orlando. The rooms were neat and clean. They have a complimentary hot breakfast that was satisfactory. Would stay here again if needing a overnight stay.

When traveling by car, I typically choose Best Western hotels - for the price, comfort of the beds and all around convenient locations. When I checked in I was greeted by name and found the clerk to be extremely polite and helpful. When I got into my room, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this property had the most amazing linens and towels. A much better quality than I had expected. The bathroom was spotless and eco-friendly. Not a bunch of small plastic bottles of toiletries going to waste. I would stay here again should my travels send me this way.

This was a little unexpected jewel. I've found quality at BW to be sketchy throughout the country. They can go from poor to excellent. THIS property was definitely excellent. The entire hotel looked very clean and neat. The room was large, comfortable and quiet and we were directly across from the elevator. Breakfast was pretty good considering I got there just a few minutes before closing. There was still plenty of eggs and bacon and all the other foods were in abundance. The thing I really liked about this property was the attitude of the help. EVERYONE was helpful and had a cheery attitude. The worst part was trying to get into the property. A little confusing in the dark. I'll definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

I have stayed here before and came back for the comfortable beds!!!!! Extremely nice staff and a tasty lil breakfast. The lady in the breakfast house was very attentive. I would be happy to come back here for another trip!!!!!!

Very nice hotel, nice clean room, close to many restaurants an a mini mall. They have a pool, hot tub, bonfire and game of cornhole :) Kathryn was very sweet and caring, she talked to us at breakfast, it made us feel very welcomed and appreciated as guests. Thank you.

We booked this hotel in the car via a roadside map. The price was right and we figured it would be an ok place to stay. We where extremely surprised at this place. It was immaculate, staff was very eager to help in any way, and the pool area was over the top. What a wonderful surprise. We will be booking this hotel again in April.

I love the stay and will do it again.my kids love the food. My kids sleeper like babys. They got in the pool and didn't have to worry about anything. I will be back again in a few weeks and I would love to see even one again

Very convenient, right off I-75 with all kinds of restaurants and stores close by. The large King room we had was spacious and very clean. There was a chair with an ottoman, pull-out couch, coffee table, desk and chair. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was great with two sinks, large walk-in shower. The breakfast was very good and the woman in charge of it was friendly, helpful, and kept everything well stocked! The staff at the front desk were also very nice. The issues were that the AC made a lot of noise and because we had a room facing the highway it was a extremely loud and kept us from getting a good night's sleep.

Needed a last minute reservation due to a horrific experience at the Springhill Suites just next door and found this gem. Small and nothing fancy, but incredibly professional and courteous staff. Full delicious breakfast, pet friendly, very very clean rooms,and convenient location. Great experience over all. Highly recommend.

This hotel met all our needs and it was a really wonderful stay. The front desk staff were extremely helpful when asking about dining in the area. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and attractive decor. We give this Best Western a big 5 stars and a thumbs up. Look forward to staying here again

My family took a last minute road trip from MA to FL. As a family of 5 in a crv we were eager to stop and stretch and give the kids a chance to get rid of some of that energy. We didn't arrive at the hotel till after 10 P.M. Maintenance was just finishing up mopping the lobby when we had began bringing ALL OUR BAGS in. We asked the reception area about pool hours and it had been closed for an hour. She immediately called the guy to see if he wouldn't mind unlocking it and reopening it just for our party. He obliged without hesitation even restarting the hot tub to reheat. He sat nearby not rushing us at all. The entire staff had pleasant and extra accommodating dispositions. The following morning the breakfast was free and outstanding. The manager came in and greeted everyone inquiring about their stays. They made everything really easy and comfortable. The grounds were clean and the rooms were spotless and comfy.

I have stayed at this hotel for at least 20 nights through 1 year. And I can confidently say that it has never failed my expectations. The staff is professional and service-minded. The rooms are tidy and clean. And the facilities are great with a Hot tub, pool and a nice bonfire-area for the evening. Through my year in USA, I have probably stayed at over 300 different hotels across the country, but I have never been to a hotel that gives me this much for the money.

Nice little hotel and newly updated and fresh. The breakfast room is outside the building by the pool area. Breakfast was good and lots of choices. I will say that the pool area was a nice setup and clean but it faced Interstate 75 and had a service road that passed the pool area also. The highway traffic noise at the pool was unpleasant for sure. Too bad they did not design the hotel so the parking was in the back of the hotel near the highway and the pool area in the front away from the highway and all the traffic noise.

I rarely stay at Best Western and was very impressed with my visit. This hotel is newly remodeled. So the decor and atmosphere has a nice clean look. Family friendly atomosphere. The staff was very courteous and professional. The rooms were clean and modern. You get your money's worth and more.

I chose this hotel over several competitors in the neighborhood and I was very pleased. It has just been redone in the past 2 years so it was very modern and clean. The pool and hot tub area looked nice. Unfortunately I didn't have time to use either. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. The only drawback was that they didn't have an exercise room onsite. They did, however, supply vouchers to use at a nearby fitness and spa center. Great place especially for the price.

My husband and I stayed there a few weeks ago for a little get away from home. The lady working breakfast Katherine was amazing and she was very friendly. During check-in we met a lady named Monika and she was very nice she was able to give us a nice list of restaurants in the area. She was also able to send my husband out for the best western awards which means we will definitely be returning. On our last day there we met a young man named Blake during check out and he was very energetic for it to be so early. He was also able to help us with our future traveling plans. The hotel was amazing and the staff was incredible I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Ocala for a visit.

Reward points were given, not offered, but that was ok. This is a "pet friendly" hotel only by the fact that your pet can stay in the room IF you are in there with him at ALL times. I would like to know how a hotel can be pet friendly, offer a free breakfast, but not allow you to enjoy it beause you can't leave your pet alone in the room AT ANY TIME which means you can't even leave your pet there long enough to go get breakfast and bring it back to your room -- unless you break your agreement and I do't do that. I actully follow the rules! I had to sign a paper saying I would not leave my pet alone at anytime during my stay AND that my pet was not allowed on the bed! Well, my pet sleeps ON MY BED at home so that was an issue for me and when traveling with my pet, I do things where my pet isn't allowed to go/do...so he stays in the room. Thats why I choose "pet friendly" hotels when I travel !!! Everywhere I have ever stayed with my pet, except here, takes my phone number to call me IF there is a problem--- and there has never been a problem! He is not a barker or a whiner. He is an 8yro, 15lb schnoodle, house trained, well traveled, well behaved dog! And for anyone traveling with a pet, we all understand, although we don't necessairly like it, that some pets are not as well behaved as our own but we accept the barking, or whining while their human is out of the room. ( And for people who don't like pets I suggest you stay a property that is NOT pet friendly as there are MANY more of them around and if you do stay at a pet friendly hotel, remember pets are there and some are not well behaved!) So I paid an EXTRA $25 for my dog to sleep on the floor and for me to NOT be able to have the free breakfast that was offered, ( I was told I wasn't allowed to take my dog to the breakfast area... and that I wasn't allowed to leave him in the room alone - so how am I supposed to enjoy the free breakast??)) Nor was I able to meet my friend next door at Cracker Barrel for breakfast as originally planned which (#1) is why I chose to stay at this location -Cracker Barrel is literally 100 steps away from the hotel and (#2) because I wasn't allowed leave my dog alone in the room!! So, yes I have stayed here before, even during their renovation, but the likely hood of me staying there in the future will depend on how tired I am... meaning I will only stay there IF I AM SO TIRED THAT I CAN NOT DRIVE ANY FURTHER. I live only an hour and fifteen minutes from this location but plan my trip home so that I stay here and can meet my friend at Cracker Barrel and enjoy a nice visit.

It could use a little updating but the overall experience was good. If you are looking for a place to sleep and take a shower, you can do that at a good price here. The breakfast isn't bad either. BW has a set menu across the board I think.

This is my 2nd business trip to Ocala and both times I have stayed at this Best Western. My previous experience was fairly good. Front Desk Clerk named Blake was very kind and breakfast was good. However, on this 2nd return, there was an even warmer welcome from Blake. He remembered me from my previous business visit 3 months ago and was eager to assist and get me checked in very quickly. He greeted me with a smile and the dialogue was professional and pleasant. I am on day 1 of 2 this trip and the pleasant employee named Katherine, that serves in the breakfast room, is attentive and equally eager to ensure that patrons had a good nights rest and were welcomed to enjoy a good breakfast. This has been my 2nd time staying. I travel a lot for work and this will always be my first pick when I stay in Ocala. Staff is wonderful and the gym is not onsite but one of the nicest I've ever seen

I have stayed at a lot of hotels in ocala. They always have had rooms done on time other have made us another 2hours. And my friends and I always had to rush to get ready for our church meeting.thank u

The room a little on the small size with 2 double beds in it but was clean and nicely decorated, We checked in an hour early with no trouble and the check out was very fast. I like the breakfast choices at BW motels. We had an early fight on a saturday and we wished they opened the breakfast before 7am on the weekends.

On our way to final destination,we did an overnight at Best Western. Room was clean, shower was great, staff was friendly. Breakfast was quite good. We felt like the price we paid for the room was a great value!

While not entirely hotel's fault, our stay was not pleasant due to a large group of obscene, noisy, teenage black girls that needed discipline. Midnight to 2 a.m. was profane language, laughing, loud talking, etc. on fourth floor, with poor results of management controlling it before about 2a.m. Hotel itself was fine.

We checked in late at night for a 2 night stay. Requested a queen bed got a regular. Sleep hard to come by. The lady Katherine was sweet and friendly and kept the breakfast pleasant. The room small but very clean. It is ridiculous that you have to pay more for a queen bed in which saves on washing 2 regular beds. In Texas they don't charge more for a bigger bed. Very disappointed

The renovations are beautiful! The lobby is warm and inviting along with guest receptionists. The room is big and decor is beautiful. All the comforts of home with a short stay. You can't beat the price for the stay.

We were very pleased to find such an outstanding hotel in this Best Western. Everything was excellent from the front desk staff to house keeping to the people staffing the breakfast room. The facility was clean and in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this hotel to friend, family or anyone and would definitely stay here if in the area again.

We went to Ocala to visit a family member in the hospital. The hotel was close to the facility and near many restaurants. The rooms were quiet, clean and roomy. The staff were very friendly. We will be staying there again on our return.

I had stayed in this hotel about 10 years ago. It was nice then and looks like its been renovated recently. The building on the outside look "dated", especially next to spme more modern hotels right next door. The interior however is modern and very well kept. It is located in a easy access, safe location with pleanty of dinning options close by. Only two complaints.The check in clerk wasnt very personable, and made us wait to check out while giving "direction" to another employee. On of the beds fitted sheets was too small and kept rolling up under you. Im not really sure how this could have missed by the staff member who made the room. The bed was new, but to soft in my opinion.

We stay at this hotel every year on our way to Madeira Beach. Nothing changes year to year, this hotel is always a great place to stay. Clean, well kept and ideally located. The ammenities at the hotel and the surrounding area offer you everything you could nerd.

Everything was great from the front desk staff, quiet , clean and comfortable room, and finally a good breakfast spread with helpful staff. Room was modern, comfortable and clean. Shower was awesome. Definitely will stay again on our next trip.

This property is within view of I-75 and it's very noisy on that side if the property. If you stay here, ask for a room on the front side of the property! Just an average BW in my opinion. Staff is very nice. Convenient to a Cracker Barrel and close to shopping and nice restaurants in both directions. Room was very clean, comfortable bed but pillows are not comfortable.

Hotel was very nice. Staff was fantastic, very helpful. The breakfast was above par for most hotels for sure, and the breakfast staff went out of their way to make sure you were fed. A bit of room noise from I-95. Not sure if that can even be addressed, and other hotels in the area would all have the same issue.

I stayed here last year and they were renovating at the time and it was a nice stay then.This time it was finished and looks very nice. Everything is clean and fresh. Great hotel, great staff, and lovely place to stay.

The hotel was very clean. The room and beds, especially the pillows were very comfortable. The refrigerator was definitely a plus. No complaints. Speedy check in and express check out. Excellent service. The price was reasonable with complimentary breakfast.

This hotel is clean. The problem is that there is more to a great hotel experience than a clean location. The truth is this is a 3 star hotel. At check-in, one desk clerk was WAY more concerned with getting the porter to take "extra towels, extra sheets, extra blankets and extra shampoo" to someone who had already checked in than he was in checking us in. I suspect someone had a few more people in the room than allowed by fire code, The second clerk was on the phone trying to get credit card information from people they were holding rooms for. She was explaining that they would sell the room if they could not provide. Neither seemed very concerned about those of us who had already guaranteed reservations and just wanted to go to our room. The room was clean but the sheets were rough as burlap and the bed was hard as a rock. A very bumpy rock. If all you want is a "clean" room, this is your place. For 162 I expect more. This was our first experience with Best Western and it will be our last

I visited Ocala for a 2-day business trip in December. I got into Florida late and was supposed to stay at the apartment my company had in town. However, no one left me a key to get in. Exhausted I pulled out my phone to find the nearest hotel and the Best Western came up. Upon arrival a little after midnight, I was greeted by a friendly front desk assistant who quickly got me a room. The room itself was clean as could be, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfortable. All I could ask for with an emergency stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ocala.

Clean all over. Excellent amenities, very relaxing atmosphere and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The housekeeping staff was the best I have seen in a long time and as I travel 80% of the year on business, that is saying a lot. I will stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone whether for business or travel. The location is excellent for travelers.

Very clean room & bathroom. Older property that has been tastefully updated. Good hot breakfast. Dedicated attendant working the breakfast area kept everything moving and toddy good high protien choices. Speedy check in & out with friendly staff.

Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. And so quiet, I got a great night's sleep. The breakfast area is a spacious space in a separate room near the pool, instead of the typical cramped corner at so many hotels. My one tiny quibble is that they offer microwave oatmeal at breakfast, but there is no microwave (I asked).

Exceptional value for the money. The hotel was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean throughout. Everything in the room functioned extremely well except the refrigerator which they were quick to manually reset so that it would work just fine. This was the best shower spray I've had in a hotel from any stay that I can remember. The breakfast was on par or better than other Best Westerns. All the staff that we encountered were friendly, courteous, and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Good hotel for the price. The breakfast was good and the lady working it was so friendly and nice!! Beds where comfortable and the rooms where clean. I social for sure stay here again.

We've stayed here many times over the past 4 years and had a good experience every time. We haul a kayak trailer, very long, and it's great to have a big lot across the street as parking adjacent to hotel is a bit tight, but adequate. Hotel is priced right, clean, very friendly, and helpful.

I called ahead and spoke too Sue to request a "quiet" room. I got a perfect room, and on top of that, because I'm a BW Rewards Member, I received an upgrade on the room. Bryan was excellent with our check-in, which was quick and efficient. And, one more word about their staff. As soon as we unpacked, we headed down to the pool. There was only a small "piece" of sunlight left out back, so we started to move a large chair over to it. There were two hotel workers who had just lit up the fire pit (nice!). They came over and carried our chairs to that one late afternoon sunny spot. This is a very attractive property. Our two-queen room was very sizeable, clean, and exceptionally nice-looking. There is an easy chair with a matching ottoman. The sink is outside the bathroom (I like that). And, of course, a microwave, refrig, and a coffee maker. There is a sizeable table between the two beds and two wall-mounted lamps, presumably one for each bed. Unfortunately, the arm of the lamps doesn't swing out toward the beds. And, in addition, the bulb is not very bright. What this adds up to is the light is inadequate, i.e., not enough light for reading comfortably in bed. From the bathroom, there was a constant loud "hum." While closing the bathroom door diminished the sound, it could still be heard inside the room.......very annoying (this was not the bathroom vent which goes on when you turned on the bathroom light). The shower was excellent.......water warmed up quickly, good pressure, and different settings on the shower head. Breakfast is in a separate building near the pool. You have to actually exit the back of the hotel and walk just a few steps to the breakfast room, which is pretty large with 11 tables. The breakfast selections were more than adequate: 3 kinds of fresh fruit, 3 kinds of cereal, pastries, breads, waffle maker, sausage patties, eggs....lot of choices. The coffee was excellent! Yet, one more word about their staff. The woman who worked the breakfast was terrific. She asked many guests, how is your room" or "did you have a good night?" She constantly filled and refilled depleted food. Lastly, you DO NOT want a room on the side of the hotel facing I-75.

Paper thin walls! We were constantly woken up by noise. We could hear every single person that walked down the hall, doors shutting, and people in the rooms next to us. The staff upon checking in and out seemed to really hate their jobs and acted like we were bothering them. Also at check in they tried to make me park my small trailer (even though it only takes up 1 parking spot) at Cracker Barrel. I thought that was ridiculous. I am paying to stay at this hotel, not the Cracker Barrel. I could see if it was a huge trailer that takes up multiple spots but taking up 1 spot is absurd.

Great stay. Didn't know what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised.. Friendly stall all around and a nice facility. The rooms are nicely furbished, a bit small and compact. The only downside was the pillows which were limp and a bit lumpy, perhaps too old and small. Breakfast was good. WiFi easy and fast enough.

I was moving to the area and decided to stay at a Best Western as found it on Booking.com. The cost was average maybe little less and decided to stay. The accommodations are adequate and overall comfortable.

The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The room was fantastic. Best Western was close to the hospital where my son was a patient. While I was worried about my son, Thankfully I had no worries with this hotel which made my life easier. Thanks so much for taking the worry out of our stay BW!

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Very clean room however like many nice hotels it did have that carpet smell. Not a bad smell just like a smell. It's not the biggest deal. The beds were comfy and ac unit was quiet. The free breakfast was okay for a quick bite. Staff were very friendly. Ive been very pleased with the best western hotels.

I always try to stay here on my way outa Florida. Its clean, convenient, the price is right and the breakfast is good. Most of the time I don't bother with reservations and have always had a room. I especially like the large rooms.

Beautiful, clean hotel right next to the interstate and great restaurants. Also hot complimentary breakfast to start your day off right. These people also went out of their way to provide me with directions for certain local attractions. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Hotel would have been acceptable if we had not been in an adjoining room where the guests left their whining, barking dog unattended while they were out. Even when they returned, their loud conversation could be heard through the doors even though I stuffed towels under the door.

This hotel met all our needs. Close to interstate with lots of restaurants within half mile. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was large with microwave and refrigerator and sitting area. It was very clean. Lots of stations available. It was quiet and beds very comfortable. Good breakfast with with many hot and cold choices. We will definitely stay there agsin

I was impressed by the staff. We arrived before check in time and the Manager was at the front desk. He verified our reservation and cell phone number, we left to grab a bite to eat and he called us as soon as a room was ready. When we got back he had upgraded our room so we did not have to wait any longer. The room was quite and quite comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast. Was completely refreshed and ready for a long day of traveling home.

We chose this hotel as it was right at the exit we chose and next to a Cracker Barrel. We have had mixed experiences in the past with Best Western but for the second time this year found it to be a good value. Very clean, well decorated, very comfortable bed and a great shower. The breakfast was standard hotel fare but displayed well and an attendant was very helpful.

Property was well kept up, rooms were redone and you could still smell the newness. Very comfortable beds, and shower was great. The continental breakfast had an assortment of food, from cereal, waffles, danish, eggs, sausage or kielbasa. Quick check in and quick check out.

I have seen places remodel but this place went top shelf. From the exterior to the lobby what changes. The rooms are fabulous with top shelf amenities. Want something different--try opening a drawer of one the night stands and smell the fresh cut wood it took to build it. With Sue at the front desk and Katherine over seeing the breakfast area's, this place will blossom with an increase in business. You need to stop and spend the night and find out for yourself why they are called the Best of the West in the East.

For a recently remodeled hotel, we don't ever remember being in such a drab, dreary room. Our first floor room was painted in dark colors, dark draperies, no pictures, and extremely dim lighting. The room was clean, bed comfortable. There is no carpeting, and the bathroom is extremely small. The lobby is sparse and uninviting. The outside entrance had two anemic-looking plants in planters. The breakfast is served in the outside pool house, located behind the hotel. The breakfast was decent with two attendants refreshing the food. Several guests were complaining about the lack of sleep due to barking dogs in rooms. There are many hotels at x350. Stay elsewhere.

VERY NICE STAFF, rooms clean, nice breakfast selection. Cojoining rooms great for family visiting, highly recommended. We were delayed in Jacksonville and we called and they gladly held our reservation with no problem.

Overall check in and check out was great. Nice, friendly service. I like that the check out time wasn't until noon. All staff was friendly and we were always greeted. with a smile. They emailed me the receipt so I didn't have to bother with check out.

Check was a very busy time, front desk staff was attentive and efficient. People were moved thru well without feeling processed. First room had an issue with the heater, overheated as in failed bearing smell. We were given another room no questions asked and apologized for the inconvenience, not necessary but nice none the less. Room was clean, spacious, comfy and quiet. There were other hotels around us as well as a couple restaurants, quiet relaxed area. Slept well, breakfast was hot and ready when we awoke, good to. One of the better mid range hotels we stayed at this entire trip. Will be looking it up this year.

Friendly check-in staff (not in a fake way). Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a fan, which most hotels don't anymore! Good breakfast selection. Would definiitely stay here again!

We appreciated that vehicles needed to display a parking pass to stay in the parking lot overnight. It was close to several restaurants. We enjoyed Chilis which was right down the road. It is located just behing the Cracker Barrel.

I'm sure our stay would have been better had we not been placed across the hall from the maid's laundry room, but whatever. The rest was fine. Also, the hot tub was out of order, and that's the only thing that I MEED any time I go to a hotel to make my body stop hurting from driving so far or from sleeping on a crap mattress. Good thing our mattress was nice. My wife also woke up without pain. That is very rare. It was an okay place to satay. Definitely affordable and worth the value.

I like the fact there is an elevator and rooms are inside. Breakfast was hot. Pool was great. I like that there are tables and lounge chairs by pool. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The front desk people were very nice. The elevator is a little slow, but no big deal.

The staff here overall is very friendly, professional & nice. I will definately stay at this hotel again. Because of my good experience hereI will try other Best Western hotels We really enjoyed our stay here.

I was here July 7-9, 2018 I am not finiky about my hotel unless it is a resort I plan to spend time at. This visit was just a place to sleep while visiting. I give the dates of my visit in my review because the place was going through much needed renovation. I was in room 501 which was at the end of the hall and quiet. However this hotel is right off the highway so you could hear traffic all night....it wasn't a problem for me, it was white noise but if you are bothered by this then ask for a room on the side not facing the highway. Beds were...firm, which is ok by my so I'm not complaining just letting you know. There is a pool which looked nice enough but again it was separated from the highway only by a fence. Hot tub covered by plywood, not sure if it was part of reno project. Breakfast is included and was just ok, several choices but I would have liked some fresh fruit other than oranges which were so juicey they make a mess when peeling. The staff...I feel bad criticizing anything because the staff was so nice and pleasantly answered any questions...a particular shout out to Blake at the front desk....I hope you stay in customer service you are good at it.

Pleasant place to stay and visit . Food and shopping within walking distance, sight seeing not to far away! The rooms are decorated tastefully and the beds are very comfortable , I love the fact that rooms come with fridge and microwave.

Excellent hotel that is currently undergoing renovations. Friendly staff and some fully renovated rooms available with comfortable beds and brand new furniture. Definitely a gem of a hotel located near many restaurants.

With construction being done - the staff was very helpful, so accepting the conditions- it was a 'good' stay. Room we stayed in was a finished upgraded room. After upgrade is finished will be a very nice place to stay.

The air conditioner worked, bed was comfortable, there was a lot of pillows which I love. The room was clean. I enjoyed my stay. The coffee left a lot to be desired. They were undergoing renovations so if you don't want to be up at 7am I'd wait until they are finished. Cracker barrel is about 20 steps away. They share a truck lot. We didn't check out the breakfast because we wanted to get on the road. I'd stay again, you can't beat the room for the price

Though the remodeling work was going on, our stay was good. Breakfast was good. Checkin/checkout process went well. Room was clean. WiFi connection was good. We didnt use other amenities. Price was high for Friday night stay.

There are plenty of hotels in this area and this one is starting to show it's age a little but still worth the money. The exterior has been given a "face lift" and it looks great!! Hoping the exterior upgrades transitions inside. Always a comfortable welcome place to stay.

Breakfast is adequate. The accommodations are basic and tolerable for one night . The exterior is not inviting. The interior reflects the renovations. The staff is responsive yet nothing special. Job done.

Upon arrival the lobby was under renovation and blocked off. Signs directed to entry via a fire exit. Followed signs to temporary front desk. The trip to check in was not inviting. The building is older with narrow hallways and low ceilings. Reservation was made on the BW website. Front desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. Room was a king on 2nd floor. Room was older layout. Sink inside the door as you enter. Combo Tub/shower. Shower head and water pressure/temp were excellent. Mini fridge and AC were quiet and efficient. Bed was average. Carpet, overstuffed chair and hassock were dated. Breakfast was in an outbuilding by pool. Choices included pastries, yogurt, eggs, bacon and sausage. Desk clerk was pleasant at Checkout.

Hotel was in process of being renovated. The room was large with a couch. Had microwave and refrigerator. Hot breakfast every morning. Had a pool but did not use. Right off of Hwy 75. Very convenient. Very clean. Front office staff very friendly and accommodating. Cracker Barrel right next door. Lots of restaurants along SR 200. Very quiet.

Even though I only live about 100 miles south of this hotel, the location gives me a break of driving time. I also enjoy the friendliness of the hotel staff, the breakfast, and location close to the interstate.

The hotel was the cheapest brand-name option in the area at the time we stayed. I'm reluctant to say “you get what you pay for” but there were a few shortcomings I'd like to point out: the lobby was under construction; the breakfast area was quite small given the number of guests; and the beds were also on the small side.

I booked a two queen handicap accessible room for 3/23/18 through 3/25/18. Arrived to be told there was no room available for us. Had to leave and find another hotel. Extremely frustrating!!! Spoke with General Manager Melissa Bookwedge this morning and was told that there was a room available for us that "I misunderstood." Was also told that I booked a single queen handicap accessible room (that the hotel does not have two queen handicap accessible rooms). I am a private caregiver for a physically disabled male there is NO WAY I booked a single queen bed. I guess I misunderstand a lot!!! One star is given to thank Sue on the front for her apology when we tried to book in on 3/23.

Room was good value. Location was perfect - easy to get to. Restaurant was nearby .Breakfast was good every morning , coffeee available in lobby until late. Staff was helpful both with room issue and helping on the computer in lobby.

Booked this hotel last minute on a 3rd party booking site at a low rate. Well, we got what we paid for. The hotel is in dire need of a refresh; from the hallway carpeting to the lighting to the pillows. The room had a moldy/musty smell that stayed on our clothes for the following day. Also, the room we were given was beside the highway (half the rooms are) and my gosh, it was super loud all night! I would not stay here again. I should mention that despite smelling gross, the room was clean. The staff was pleasant too. (Hence, the extra star in this review.)

Extremely high price when considering how old and dumpy this place is. Because of activities in the area there were not other options. My wife was sick so could not travel further down the road. We were charged over $300 for one night. Based on the age and condition of this place they are not worth $100 per night even if they were the only hotel in Ocala. I have paid over $200 per night at other hotels and I have never recorded a complaint but because of this experience I hope to never have to stay at a Best Western.

Worst hotel experience ever. Poor quality for the price. Bedding is uncomfortable. Hotel should get total renovation if they are continuing to charge such outrageous price. Overall worst experience at a motel. Tear it down or lower your price to motel prices since this is what it is. No words!

I recently stayed at a Best Western Hotel in Ocala , Florida,it was a surprise to me that a Best Western could be so nice , accommodating , so clean , so well staffed , in a great location that was close by everything you could want or need . Arrived early and to my surprise my room was ready . They have a great staff, manager , and a great spot for there morning breakfast area , just outside hotel in the pool room converted for breakfast use .

Clean friendly and great price. We traveled over 15 hrs and after a disappointing and disastrous previous booking at Ft McCoy we found a wonderful deal through TripAdvisor which helped ease our burden. I highly recommend staying here.

I am 65, and given a room on the top floor, a distance away from the elevator. Ice machine was on another floor. I noticed that the majority of the patrons on my floor were seniors. The breakfast was in another building which means you have to use your room key to get back into the hotel.

Headed north we booked from the highway, and easily found the hotel. Checkin was easy and the clerk delightful. The room was adequate after finding the A/C control. We slept well. Breakfast was average and unremarkable. Paint & renovations were in progress.

Our stay was fine. The rooms were clean & well maintained. Breakfast had lots of variety and good hours. Problem: items went missing during the day and mgmt has been unresponsive after multiple attempts.

Room away from street noise, asked and received a room close to exit to bring in luggage and got it. Got need direction to a restaurant, Walmart and bed and beyond. Very confusing place to get around at night. Excellent breakfast as usually for Best Western

They are really cutting back...rooms are small, clean, toiletries are minimal, pool is not heated...breakfast is okay if there is anything left..cheap coffee in room...yuk. Seems to be the least expensive in the area

Well cleaned and maintenance is fine, the age of things is showing. Time to tune up this facility. Paint, wall paper and bath fixtures are due for a change. It's a busy place, but it's showing it's age.

There were excellent service with this facility. The hotel personnel excised and the cleanest of the room was great. I wish I could stay longer and take more time to get to know your staff, they were excellent at customers. Great to know that there are people so efficient and cordial. Thanks

A little tired, reasonably clean. Friendly staff. Coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator in room. Shortage of convenient outlets for charging devices. Extensive breakfast bar with pastries, eggs and sausage. Rooms with poor sound insulation.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and are pleased to say it does not disappoint. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant on the property is convenient and the food is good.

Bottom line-we would stay here again. Reception area is nice. Front desk staff were friendly and able to adjust our reservation at check in. (BW rewards was less accommodating but that is not a hotel issue) Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. TV and wifi worked well for Netflix. Refrigerator was not working when we moved in but they sent someone up who checked it and plugged it in and it worked fine. Window curtain should have gone to the wall to better block the light from the parking lot. Sink is located outside of the bath and toilet area. Shower water was hot and strong. Tub had some minor discoloration. Breakfast fare was typical. Make it yourself waffles were very good. It was way to cold to use the outdoor pool.

I would Not recommend this hotel. Price was just ok, but this is a very “tired” hotel. It definitely needs updating. The carpeted floors have stains on them, and the walls are paper thin. Guessing the couple next to us was Not getting along, as there was lots of arguing going on. But front desk worker was lovely to help with the problem. Also, hope you don't mind going Outside to the pool building to get coffee & breakfast. Yes, OUTSIDE. It was Freezing outside, but out we went!

This hotel is well-maintained with attentive staff. The rooms are pleasant and clean. Lots of choices at breakfast, but be patient. The attendant was constantly playing catch-up keeping the food stocked. It is walking distance to many chain restaurants if you are prepared to walk a little further to cross at a traffic light with crosswalk. Easy to get to from I-75.

great experience. from initial reservation to check-in through check-out the staff and hotel was exactly how it should be. will definitely stay again in the future. the location is perfect for us to have a short ride to get to Disney.

In the last three days, we've stayed here twice as we've passed through. The staff upon check in were very nice. The room rates were good. And the rooms, including the bathroom, were very clean. Our rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. The free breakfast was ok. The laundry room was also clean and the rest of the staff were very friendly and cheerful. There is a little bit of road noise if your room is on the side of the hotel facing the highway.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The place was clean and the entire staff - from front desk to room cleaning staff and maintenance folks were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

This is always one of the places we aim for when travelling from Canada to Florida. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and very comfortable beds. It is easy to access and there are restaurants within walking distance - very handy.

Best Westerns are always located at various points of interest and convenient places to get off the road for rest. This hotel was spacious and slightly bigger than typical rooms and was a considerable upgrade. All the comfort and service we have come to expect from Best Western. Ocala Park Centre will be added to our list of stopovers when the need to break up the trip heading south into Florida for sure.

Good location, right off rte 75. Can walk to eating places, Cracker Barrel, McDonald's, Starbucks down the road. Friend forgot important items and Kohls right across street within walking distance. Good value for price.

One strange thing - had to leave hotel & go to another bldg for breakfast (in rain & wind), it was hard to find how to distinguish entrance from other properties. Don't know if we'd return due to this.

A most restful nights rest...Service was great...room was very nice..clean...breakfast was awesome!! Out of all the hotels that are in the Ocala area...dollar for dollar this Best western was truly worth the ride.

They didn't clean the room, the room smelled sour from the air conditioning vent. I was glad to go home! The housekeeping was at our door when we left and she did not clean the room! We got back after 10 PM to a dirty room! Pay a little more and stay somewhere else!

The room was Beautiful. It was very Large with a King Bed, Sofa with Desk and Chair with an additional Chair and Ottoman. The room also comes with a Fridge and Microwave. The front desk people are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this location on several different occasions and I will stay here again. There is a Cracker Barrel next door and a ton of Restaurants in the area.

This is a great location, friendly and helpful staff, and very clean and comfortable rooms. We Have stayed here many times, both with and without children. Location is easy drive to Crystal Springs as well as right off highway.

We were looking for a good place to stop for the night in the Ocala area. We found this hotel in a highway coupon book and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was very good.

The Best Western was clean and central location . Breakfast was good, bed were comfortable. One problem in 3 night stay. The cleaning staff. Knocked on our do it 4 times between 9 am and 10 am. Check out at 11, but of course we were not checking out until the next day. Thus was Thanksgiving day and I am disabled so it takes me longer to get ready. They wanted in to clean room and kept looking on do it, we told them we were not dressed yet. I did not like to be rushed on vacation. Plus it was our anniversary. I did tell the desk clerk. Other than that it was good.

This is a great place to stay. The personnel are great, it is clean, rooms and beds are clean and nice, breakfast has always been great here. When on 75 and going south, I always stay at this hotel for the comfort. It has always been a pleasure and I look forward to the new face-lift next year of this Best Western hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located near I-75 and many major stores and restaurants. The staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We would happily stay at this hotel again if we were in the area.

Recently I took a Florida road trip from Fort Lauderdale to Panama City Beach and decided to overnight at this Best Western. Back in June I stayed at one in Tallahassee and had a pleasant experience. Not so for the one in Ocala. While it wasn't dirty, it was certainly outdated and tired looking. The mattress was hard and felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. This is not an exaggeration. Let me sum my experience up by saying we slept in our travel clothes. Yuck!

It's not the Ritz, but it's in a quiet location, the beds are great, the rooms are clean and updated and the staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely make this our second stop as we head south!

Clean & convient off interstate 75S. Many places to eat within walking . Nice rooms. Friendly front disk. Overall a very wonderful place to stay. Beautiful setting. Breakfast many selections. Anytime traveling south we choose to stay at this Best Western.

We stayed at a very nice Best Western Hotel just off I-75 and Fl State route 200 in Ocala, Fl. It has a delish complimentary FULL self serve hot breakfast and is also adjacent to the Cracker Barrel hotel. Front desk staff are professional and personable. Room was clean, the cable went in and out, but that was the fault of the provider, not the hotel. Reasonably priced, has a great in-room hair dryer, ironing board and iron. Handicap room only has outlets on one side of bed if you need to plug in c-pak or other medical need equip and no king size bed offered in handicap room. Overall it was a very good stay.

Very easy access from I-75. With ample parking for my pickup and boat, and trailer. The caring, helpful staff is very welcoming after a long day on the road.... Rooms are large and comfortable, and perfectly clean... Breakfast was early, which is always a plus...

Upon arriving at this hotel, You will find the property eye catching, the front desk staff kind and full of smiles and professionalism, The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, The entire staff, Housekeepers and breakfast attendant go out of their way to please and accommodate. There are many large chain hotels within two blocks, I chose and will continue to choose this Property when traveling to the area on business or other. I recommend this property Bar-None to others

Our first time at a Best Western in many years but after this I'm sure it wont' be our last. Very clean accommodations, beds were very comfortable. We were very pleased. Only wish an handicap room had been available. We are Snowbirds & will be looking forward to Best Western hotels when we hear north in the spring.

just run-down!! not much else to say. they are being bought out and not being kept up!!!! all hotels we stayed at during our trip were great! outside and grounds were lovely at our other locations. you need to do better!!!

I chose BW because of its price and proximity to West Marion hospital. I was hesitant because of some negative reviews I had read. I was not disappointed. I thought the place was very good for the price. I think at times people expect the service and quality of a higher end expensive hotel in a lower scale hotel. The room was clean and the service was good. It served my purpose.

This hotel is very outdated but it's a convienent location and clean. The staff is caring and helpful. They answered the questions I had in a friendly manner. The fitness center could use some fixing up but had the necessary equipment needed!

Best stay in Ocala, FL. Amenities are outstanding, breakfast is piping hot with excellent selections. Rooms are super cold (which is the way I like it!). Very quiet for a day sleeper like me. Best stay for the price while in town on business.

Evacuated here due to Hurricane Irma for 4 nights and received outstanding service. General Manager Melissa seemed to be there the whole time and has an excellent staff who where also there through the storm. Sue, on the front desk, was able to accommodate our room needs. The bed and pillows were comfortable, refrigerator and microwave very convenient to have. Most definitely would stay here again.

The hotel had a good price compared to all the others in the area. All online listings said booked up, but I walked in and got a room cheaper then the listings any how and there was availability. The 4th floor smells of cat urine, musty, moldy wetness smell but the room is nice and clean. My experience with the staff was positive. Location was good and I overlooked the highway it was a bit close so I hear cars but it is expected. The AC fit my cooling preferences and the bathroom was to my liking, the only real complaint is the moldy wet smell. And upon inspection the carpet was still actually damp by the door where you can clearly see water damage on the floor in the door. I stayed in room 437. It looks like the last two rooms on this floor may have the same water damage just an observance. I used an air freshener from my car to help the smell, I really hope I don't get mold in my lungs! I've added some pictures of my room. The pool is small but serene, the breakfast area is small but nice. My room has a microwave and fridge both work. Bed is comfy and the number of pillows is AMAZING.

1. We were not given adjoining rooms. When we asked the woman at the front desk about this she told us that it was never a guarantee. 2. The rooms smelled of mold. Within minutes both my daughter and I began feeling scratchy throats. 3. The beds were extremely hard. My daughter had to go to Wal-Mart the next day and buy a foam topper for $70. 4. The ceiling (popcorn) in my daughters room surrounding the fan was extremely dirty. 5. We went downstairs to explain our findings. We asked the woman at the front desk if they had any other mattresses or rooms available and she said no. She told us that we could check out if we wanted to. It was 3 am and we had a 2 yr. old, an elderly man with disabilities and an impending hurricane and no rooms available anywhere else????? I said to her, where are we going to go. She had no answer. 6. There was a “no pet” sign posted at the front desk. The sign also said that guests would be fined $100.00 if pets were found. Governor Scott had asked all hotels to waive this policy. While it was obvious by the number of dogs and cats on our floor and in the lobby that people were bringing pets in, they never removed the sign. 7. My grandson spilled water on the rug. I wiped it up with a towel. It was obvious that the rugs were filthy. The carpeting in the lobby and the hallways were very dirty as well. 8. Our refrigerator was not working. When the man came to replace it, I found that the refrigerator, the microwave, the lamp and the TV had been plugged into two adapters that were then plugged into a two-prong socket. A definite fire hazard. (see photo) 9. The outside window was “milked” indicating that the seals were broken (see photo) 10. My daughters microwave also had to be replaced because it was not working properly. Overheating and shutting down. 11. The pool area was in disrepair. The pool deck was raised and a trip hazard. The surrounding features were broken. 12. The certification for operation for the elevator was expired. 13. Neighbors notified us that our power had been restored about 2pm on Tuesday. I asked the front desk if we could check out and not be charged for Tuesday night and they said no. I asked several times if there could be any exceptions and they said no, that there was no one there to clean the rooms. I knew otherwise as we had just had a conversation with the housekeeping staff on our floor 10 minutes before and after the conversation with the front desk staff. After communication with customers relations I was given a credit for one night for only one room. Overall, this is a hotel that appears to have had little updating or maintenance and I would never recommend it.

Stayed in room 334 at the Ocala BW for mandatory evacuation during Hurricane Irma. The rates were reasonable, the beds are very comfortable, the free breakfast was great, housekeeping staff was wonderful. During this very intense time, this hotel went above and beyond to accomodate all types of evacuees. The staff was worked to the max, even when I'm sure they would have rather been home with their families during the storm. They allowed people with their pets and large quantities of belongings, food and supplies. They never lost patience and try to make everyone comfortable. Hats off to the outstanding staff!!!

I was heading home ahead of the storm. I had stayed in this hotel before and while it isn't their finest it was ok but this time it is scraping the bottom of the barrel. The sheets were so scratchy I couldn't stand it. My electronics wouldn't stay plugged in. The plugs just kept falling out and not just one or two. I was very disappointed. I will never stay here again.

We evacuated from miami trying to find somewhere safe. It was very hard to find hotel any where since a lot of people were doing the same thing. I appreciate that this hotel accepted my family include my dog, normally they aren't pet friendly but they accepted us with our pet for this situation.Very kind of them. Thank you!

This was a great Best Western to stay at. Plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Breakfast was okay but the coffee was actually brewed and delicious and bananas and yogurt with breakfast was appreciated.

This hotel was older but well kept. The room was a bit small but it was clean, and that's the most important thing. All the employees we met were all very professional and nice. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Also when you are in the area check out Big Lees BBQ, the best BBQ ever!

Best deal around highly recommend this Best Western.. Very clean, comfy room , firm mattress and soft pillows ....no tea though.. There is constant coffee available 24hours, free newspaper. Breakfast Ok with very good attendant on duty replenishing items constantly ( could do with much better quality bacon however} . Altogether a very good overnight stay. RV

Would stay here again if ever in the area. It was wonderful!!! Having the breakfast near the pool area was really pleasant. Everyone made this visit pleasant. All hotels should be this nice and clean.

The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. We heard absolutely no street noise despite being facing onto a busy road. Only negative is they dont offer the Best Western reward points when booking with them.

We loved this property. Cracker Barrel was right outside hotel. Check in was great. Got 500 bonus points due to being a Reward Member. PLEASE SIGN UP FOR THEIR PROGRAM...best around. Breakfast was in a building not attached to the hotel. This was kind of cool. Everything tasted great. The rate was very nice. A great value.

Customer service was OK but the front desk forgot to smile. Elevator had no AC so you swear from the first flight to the third. Room was nice but had a bad musty smell so three stars because I called them first and instead of coming up with the spray they had me go down even though I told them I had already settled in for the night. Once I was at the desk then they said they could come up and spray or I could do it myself. I chose to do it myself. They said they'd be up to pick up the spray in about 15 minutes to get it. They never came so I left it in the room.

Rate was good. Rooms had a musty smell toilet did not operate good (had to call maintenance) bed frame was broken on one of the beds.. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. Breakfast was good. typical continental. Coffee was good

Great place to stay...quiet, convenient, affordable, nice, large suite...nice pool, great breakfast, comfortable bed and sofa, great internet, wonderful place to stay, convenient parking, lots of restaurants nearby, walk to Cracker Barrel

Hard to find at night! Very poor illumination around. Helpful staff. Too cold room (62F at check in time). Old bedding and (especially) towels with bleach smell. Nice breakfast (omelette was especially great!), really hot boiled water (not warm but HOT). Fruits and yogurts.

very accessible, clean, reasonable, professionally run hotel. Would recommend it to all my friends. Had one of my best breakfasts on the road @ a hotel. Planning to stop again when we go on another road trip in this area.

We were on motorcycles Going south . We got off at the exit but no signs telling you which way to hotel. When we found the hotel, it was beside the Cracker Barrel. The hotel was clean outside and inside. Rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel has the things you look for in a hotel,friendly staff,good check-in and out. Breakfast was good for a quick get away.The hotel is motorcycle friendly. That is a plus for the ones that ride.

We were pleasantly surprised with the low rate but great quality of this hotel, even though there were other hotels around it that were quite a bit more expensive. Friendly staff. Will stay at this place again for sure if in the area.

Reasonable rates, comfortable room, great location and friendly employees. Easy on and off for I-75, room was quiet. Breakfast was standard fare but edible, Cracker Barrel was right next door if you wanted a better breakfast. Room had, fridge, coffee pot, TV was good and the King bed was hard which I liked and got some great sleep. AC was awesome.

Love staying at this motel on my way south. Seems pretty new and in a great secure area of town. Great hot breakfast at six o'clock. Beautiful pool area also. Have stay here many times before and will definitely do so again. Staff is very nice and helpful.

We had a great time with you and will recommend you to our family when they are going to be down there. The hotel was very nice and clean the beds we're comfortable and I slept like a baby. Over all the experience of the accommodations was well worth it.

The motel is very nice though rooms on the backside are against the Interstate and traffic can be heard. Breakfast was good and served in an attractive room. The rate was reasonable and the building attractive, and conveniently located right off the Interstate.

Hands down the best night of rest that I have ever had. Nice and quiet, AC was excellent, Wi-Fi was convenient, Breakfast selections were outstanding, staff was very professional. Best Western is always the place to go for an excellent nights rest.

This hotel was a very nice. Our room was clean and well maintained. The bed was also very comfortable. The one thing I didn't care for was the pillows! Using 3/4 small pillows makes no sense to me. I carry my own. We just had fruit from the standard breakfast bar and it was fresh. Coffee was good and plentiful. The employees were polite and friendly. We did not have any problems with our stay or room.

Excellent stay. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offerings were above and beyond what I expected. Many choices, from make your own waffles, hot food ( three kinds of eggs, bacon and sausage) , breads, oatmeal, cold cereals, muffins, fruit, etc. and all was very delicious. The breakfast lady kept everything stocked. The room was clean and quiet.

We were greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way at check in to accommodate us and switch up rooms so we could be closer to a relative who was also staying just through the weekend. Room was clean. Lobby was also nicely put together. The location is perfect for us as it was merely minutes from people we were visiting and we felt safe and secure away from home. Pool was as clean as could be expected during rainy season in SW Florida (meaning there were only a few leaves here and there that we had no problem skimming out ourselves). We will definitely make the Best Western Ocala Park Centre a regular place to stay for our frequent trips to visit family and friends in the area. Thank you for an awesome experience.

I have found a new favorite place to stay on m frequent trips to South Florida... Reasonable, and convenient... Right next to I-75. A Cracker Barrel next door is a plus.... Friendly caring staff... Well equipped, and pleasant breakfast at poolside...

Very nice visit , will stay there again in the future. Everything is close to this location as far as shopping, food & entertainment. I will tell all my friends and family about this location and how affordable it was to stay here. Its located right off the interstate but is very quite and you hear no traffic noise so I was very happy about that, normally that doesn't happen when the hotel is so close to the busy road.

Hotel was a good hotel for family to stay for the night. Clean, comfortable bed and a good breakfast. The breakfast attendant lady went out of her way to prepare a great breakfast for us and make sure our entire family had enough to eat.

Stayed twice- on the way to and from miami. Both times were great- comfortable, excellent price, clean, convenient. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast. There's also free internet that worked well. It's kind of hidden behind a bunch of other hotels but come find it to save at least $20!

We arrived late night without a reservation. Hotel staff were courteous and efficient with check in. Very pleased with room and it's amenities. Breakfast was adequate and well presented. Breakfast staff personable and helpful.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Best Western Ocala Park Centerl in Ocala Florida. We would recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in that area. The room was fresh and clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the nice hot breakfast and pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel was under renovation and they had sticky notes on the doors for the room number. I know it is hard when renovating but, maybe something else could have been done. The pool was full of flying ants

This hotel is right off I-75 and around the corner from the main commercial strip in Ocala (restaurants and stores). As mentioned in other reviews, the property is in the midst of a renovation. The friendly staff, good location, and overall atmosphere make the painting projects not a big deal. It is a relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel is somewhat difficult to find off 75 but once found is very nice. Quiet, clean, good breakfast. Able to find shopping and restaurants nearby. Pleased with everything about stay. Would stay here again if in area. Very pleased with stay.

The visit to Best Western can only be described as mediocre. The room had two double beds, the only thing available on line, and was much too small for two people. Perhaps a couple might have been more comfortable. Leave any baggage you don't need in the car! The breakfast bar was not appetizing unless you like eggs that look and taste like plastic. Most other offerings contained vast amounts of sugar. The coffee was acceptable. Overall the room and grounds were very clean and the staff friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located right off of I-75 behind the Cracker Barrel restaurant. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offers a nice breakfast in the pool house in the back next to the pool, has a workout room, and a business center. However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovation with post-it notes for room numbers on the doors, lighting fixtures removed from hallways (meaning rather dark halls), and walls where wallpaper has been removed in preparation for new paint. Nothing was happening in the rooms, but I hope that the renovation can be completed soon.

All in all to get a hotel like this in Ocala for 75/night was a great value. Hot breakfast was good, bed was comfortable, room was clean, nice refrigerator and microwave in the room, close to many things on the main strip etc. Given that and most other places right off I75 and Route 200 will run you 110+/night is why i gave it an excellent rating for that area. But it had a lot of "quirks" that you should know about...... 1. This didn't feel like a Best Western hotel but was some other hotel that BW took over. It is a bit older in appearance and there was nothing special walking in the place. I just didn't get that Best Western feel if you know what i mean. 2. It is right off the highway and if you are thinking about sitting peacefully in the pool area you are almost drowned out by the noise. I didn't hear it the room as much (facing the same direction) so I slept well (yes the bed was comfortable!) 3. If you plan on working at the desk it is right next to the A/C unit which blows directly on you. I had to work there for several days with a major breeze half the time and freezing being right next to it. I eventually covered up half the A/C vents so i could still cool the room and work at the same time. 4. Not a lot of places to walk to from the hotel. I like to go for walks in the morning as part of my exercise routine and in attempting to do so found myself kind of boxed in to a 3 block area. This section has busy roads and the sidewalks are limited in length 5. For some reason you need another card to access the fitness room. And the card expires each day so you have to go back down to the desk to get it reactivated. I asked why don't they just use the room keys and i got just a shrug and no answer 6. Also they told me the fitness room is only available from 8am - 9:30pm! Apparently where they put it can disturb some of the rooms around there. I'm an early riser and snuck in at 7am with no issue but just be aware of that limitation 7. I didn't get a good vibe from the staff. They were all just emotionless doing their jobs with the exception of one or two people. No heartfelt greetings or smiling faces. They were just there. So if you want a place at a reasonable price with a clean room and good breakfast and close to many stores and restaurants then this is a very good choice. If you are looking for more then be ready to pay 30+ more per night.

I stopped here last night and it was a most enjoyable stay. Great water pressure and volume in the shower. The room was spotless and included a refuge, microwave, tv and a desk. Iron and ironing board also. The staff was outstanding and the room rates were awesome. Breakfast bar was wonderful with fresh juices, coffee and even a huge waffle iron. I give this place 5 stars!

Stayed here while visiting family in the area and had a clean room and great service. It's close to everything (right off (I-75 at Route 200) and has been updated nicely. Will definitely stay again when we visit Ocala.

This proved to be a quiet and clean choice. The room, as well as the common areas, appeared well maintained. The carpeting, bedding, walls, and bathrooms were all reasonably clean. I was comfortable staying here and would recommend.

We are here right now. Hotel itself is clean and nicely maintained. Our room however, is extremely damp and musty making it hard to breathe. There are no other rooms available and we're only here for tonight. Window is wide open(4th floor) for fresh air and the heat is on in hopes it will help dry out the air. If this stay was longer than 1 night we would have left.

Great location for being close to amenities. Although one of the older hotels in the area - very nicely updated and compares to the new ones in the area. Prices are always cheaper than anywhere else. We have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times over the years.

This place offers great value and comfortable accommodations, right off of the Interstate. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. And we took advantage of the easy-to-use inexpensive in-house laundry. The staff was helpful and friendly. And the hotel's proximity to restaurants and shopping was a big plus.

This is an updated Best Western and had all the amenities that we needed for a one night stay. We always appreciate a refrigerator and microwave being available, even if we don't always use it. The front desk personnel got our room request correct when we made our reservation, and followed up perfectly. Shame to be surprised when everything goes without a hitch, but it was a pleasant surprise. They were very nice at check in. While updated, the ceiling in the room could use some TLC, but nothing serious. Breakfast was in the pool area, and it was so crowded when we got in, that we just grabbed a coffee and hit the road. Food selection was the normal fair you get in a mid priced hotel. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Clean, efficient, modern. Good, solid Best Western. Room has small refrigerator, microwave and small coffeemaker. Room pretty quiet, even though the odd numbered rooms face the interstate. Biz center and sitting area adjacent to check-in desk. Noisy, water pipes in the walls--intermittent noise. Good breakfast.

They always seem to have a attitude and don't know how to work the computer the rooms where nice no issue there just the customer service was not good. They need to have more friendly staff at the front desk

We had no reservation this time, yet we were treated as if we were cordially expected. I always love staying in Ocala! Best Western made it like home. The room was clean, the personnel was cordial, the bed was comfortable, and we were completely rested! Thank you, Best Western, Ocala.

The TV wasn't working and the man sent to fix it was rude, angry, and insulted me. Then never fixed it. We could not watch the TV channels we wanted to watch. It was a very miserable night. The location was hard to find.

Great value for business stays. Helpful staff,clean updated clean rooms? Nice variety on breakfast menu. I bypass other hotels and REPEATEDLY pick this for total package of this property. I stay at this hotel 12-16 times a year

We only stayed here one night. It was a nice room, very convenient and comfortable. They are next door to a good restaurant for breakfast if you don't like the free breakfast. Which by the way was good for free.

My wife and stayed at Best Western for one night. Room was really good. Comfortable beds and spacious. The breakfast was fine. My wife was very pleased with Monica who was at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful in answering some important questions that my wife had. Would stay there again if visiting in the future.

Stayed overnight for a car show nearby. Hotel was easy to find and near food and gas choices. Check-in was fast and easy and staff was great. First thing we noticed when we opened our room was a musty smell which we thought would go away but it didn't. Asked front desk for some air freshener and they sent up the security person with Febreeze to spray which helped for overnight. Otherwise room was very clean and comfortable. Front facing room was very quiet. Breakfast was good - standard fare hot selections and was busy early. Nice pool and public areas. Would stay again but will check the room for odors first.

I stopped here on my way home, primarily because of the convenient location. The staff was professional, and I was given a choice of a room on either the 1st or 2nd floor. The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints. I did opt to take the stairs as the elevator very slow. Although I did not take advantage of them, the motel does offer a fitness room and a pool. Breakfast left a bit to be desired, but I should not complain as it was complimentary. All in all, I would stay here again.

Friendly & professional staff, clean & well maintained facilities, comfortable room, great hot breakfast, a business center that works and easy access, what more could you ask for for less than $100 per night.

Wife and I stayed for an overnight in October. We booked right at the counter and had no issues getting a great rate. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the hotel was quiet, (during the week so could be different on weekends.) Issue I had with the hotel was the location. Could be tricky to get to through the throng of other businesses close to it.

This hotel is in a handy location, right near I-75, and close to shopping & restaurants. The rooms are nice. They have a good breakfast, all the usuals + greek yogurt, oranges, bananas, and 3 hot choices. This hotel is right next to I-75 & parallels it so if you want a quiet room make sure to specify that you need one on the west side away from the interstate. My only complaint is that their wifi is very slow.

After a long day of travel, it is so great to have lodging that is convient off the interstate. Clean and confortable rooms, friendly service. Wonderful swimming pool. Good hot breakfast. . Loved the stay, and will return.

Very nice front desk staff. Enjoyed having the USA Today delivered under the door and the breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the room smelled like it had been heavily sprayed to cover up some other odor but since we only paid $52 thru an exclusive, nonrefundable, non-changeable AAA deal and we were only there for one night, we just dealt with it.

We were on our way to our resort & needed a place to stay during hurricane Matthew and this was the only place that had a room for 3 days. We enjoyed our stay. Beds were extremely comfortable & breakfast was very good.

Great location with many eating places close by. Second stay there and got the room I had requested on my on line reservation. Very nice pool area and good hot breakfast with a great variety of items to choose from.

Hotel is conveniently located right off I75 and close to resturants. front sliding door would not open and service personnel had to be called to pry it open. It was repaird the next day when we left.. A/C was top notch, very quite so you could rest all night without hearing it turn on and off and put out very cool air to keep anyone very comfortable.Skip the breakfast as its eggs look like a plastic toy that your pet would play with. Just go next door to Cracker Barrel.

Spent 3 nights at the Best Western hotel in Ocala it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were cleaned and tidy. The staff were excellent,I was in and out as I was visiting with family and upon every return they were cheerful and kind. I would recommend this Best Western to family and friends .

Large comfortable room with plenty of light to read. It has a nice large pool There is excellent breakfast with a good selection including the waffle maker. Coffee and fruit are available in the lobby.

I needed to travel from Riverview, FL, to Spartanburg, SC for the Labor Day Weekend. We left on Friday afternoon and stayed at this Best Western Friday night. It was a stormy night, with wind and rain, but I had a reservation, and the stay went very smoothly. We enjoyed a great breakfast before we left. I have stayed at this unit quite often, and would recommend it to anyone.

My dad was having surgery at the hospital and it was going to be first thing in the morning so my mom and I decided to stay over here for the night. We didn't get to use all the amenities but it was a friendly and clean environment. We got there at 10:30 at night and checked out at 5:15 in the morning. It did exactly what we needed. Bed and shower.

This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were Clean and comfortable. It was in a great location. This property had the best hotel breakfast we experienced on our whole trip. The staff was helpful and super friendly.

While passing thru, I opted to stop and rest here after a long and weary road trip. This place is nestled among the other giants in the industry, however, when it comes to quality in a few areas, it is not in the same league. The pillows were not of a std., length nor consistent in their density. The hot water for showering was more temped.

While venturing out of Fla., I stopped here for the night. what seemed to be a good location, was not so. It like many of its competitors, is nestled within a lightly forested area. However, the road noise from the truckers is deafening. The pillows on the bed were ~ half the normal size while the density was not consistent. The bed was a bit too hard. Here, and what seems to be at all BW hotels, breakfast starts at 6:30 A.M., a half hour later than most. The staff was cordial enough, yet seemed to lack that certain something which say they are in their element. The breakfast area is out side within a separate building, located before the pool. Here among Courtyard and Hilton....it is a tare among the wheat.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super nice. I was very impressed with housekeeping-she took the time to make our son's stuffed dinosaur look cute on his bed. The building and grounds were clean. Breakfast was good! We would stay here again.

Great staff, Very Clean room, nice breakfast, good WIFI, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker in room. And very reasonable rates!! Would highly recommend and would definitely return. Our stay was for 6 days and had a great experience. Excellent easy access location.

Nice & Quiet room. Staff very helpful & organized. Quality of breakfast items lacking and display had utensils placed on unsanitary surfaces. The hotel was otherwise very clean and located in close proximity of stores and restaurants.

Stopped here on the way home after a full day at the Magic Kingdom at WDW. It was very late, but check in was a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff we encountered were very friendly and I would not hesitate to stayhere again.

My family stopped here late for one night on the way home from Walt Disney World. It was just a quick stop, but hotel staff were nice and it was clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay again.
