We needed one night's accommodation close to shopping and the USA/Canada border, and the Summit Inn, fit the bill. The room was large, clean, and the beds were comfortable. However, the room was dark as there were only two lights in the main room. The bathroom was clean and there were sufficient towels and amenities. The breakfast was good, but there were a number of items eg., bagels (?), and wheat bread gone. I asked a staff member about a refill of the items and was told there was none left. All staff were very nice. Ample free parking. The pool and workout room (not used by us) looked very nice. All in all a positive experience.
We stayed at the Best Western Summit Inn on our trip to Buffalo in August. The hotel was close to shopping and grocery stores that we wanted The hotel itself was ok for a short stay. The room had a comfortable bed. It had a strange window/balcony that didn't look outside but instead looked into the pool area. The pool was really nice, but by the end of our stay, it seemed like a filter broke, and the water got cloudy. Just outside of the pool area there were some video games and vending machines. Breakfast was nice. They had cereal, muffins, breakfast meat, fruit and pastry.
Distance to the places we wanted to go was great. Close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was good with a good selection to choose from but no real cream for coffee. Rooms were nice but AC was quite loud. Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Good location and the continental breakfast are good, lots of choices. Free parking overnight. As for the room, their outlet is not good, hard to charge phone/tablets. It's clean and mattress is comfortable. Their pillows are smaller than the standard.
Smooth check in. The hotel is MASSIVE! The hotel goes towards the back, so even a room halfway down the hall is a long walk. Its only 2 floors. The 1st floor has all these different "levels" to them. The middle of the property has the pool, arcade games and snacks/drinks. The room was a nice size. WiFi was a good speed, bed/pillows were comfy. Shower never got that hot but had good pressure. Bathroom fan is LOUD! Most of the outlets near the bed were all worn out, so nothing stayed plugged in. Hotel was very clean and updated, no noise issues, huge parking lot. Several places to eat and such nearby. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel.. only complaint was the outlets were loose so charging phones was difficult. It's close to non tourist stores and restaurants so traffic isn't bad and it's only 10 minutes to the NY falls. It's also close to Lewiston and others towns.
Very clean and comfortable. Facility looked to be recently updated. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Beds comfortable, rooms very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would reccomend it highly. Lots of places nearby to eat and easy access to the falls, not too far.
Stayed with kids on a family vacation/roadtrip. They've made some newer updates to flooring and look of the rooms, but the hotel is gritty. When you look closer it's dirty. Breakfast is poor, pool looked unclean. Our fridge was broken but luckily we had a cooler we could fill up with ice from the ice machine. The room had a moldy smell, especially when the AC kicked on. Both the AC and bathroom fan were obnoxiously loud. We paid something like $180USD for the night, but would definitely have expected a better experience for that price. Would not recommend, and I'll think twice before booking BW in the future.
Hotel is in a run down condition. Staff is very rude to people of color. They talk back to black & brown people and think other's are dumb. They marked me no show even though we called and informed we will be late. After argument reservation was reinstated on condition that I will be paying for remaining 2 nights at discounted rate without no show charges for previous night. While checking out, all the charges were reverted. Breakfast is horrible, room is dirty with minimal or no lighting. Room service is available only if you stay more than 4 nights. Be ready to clear your trash & dirty linen by yourself. Total waste of time, money and energy staying in this horrible place.
Never again! This location has been going downhill from rooms, customer service to breakfast. Spend extra $ and stay somewhere else to get a decent hotel to stay. Spend your $ somewhere else. No real protein options for breakfast and it's packed with lots of kids.
Highly recommend the Best Western Summit In on 9500 Niagara Falls Boulevard. Please check out my social media pages for video shout out of your hotel!
The rooms don't have exterior windows; the windows look onto a hallway that has exterior windows on the opposite wall. You can have a little daylight by keeping your curtains open to the hallway, or you can have privacy in a blackened room. Even with the curtain open, the room felt cavelike. That wasn't a deal killer, though. The real problem was the AC, which didn't cool or ventilate the room adequately. I had planned to stay two nights but moved to another hotel after the first night.
Sad excuse for a tourist destination hotel. Our room was a disaster.. from the toilet barely flushing to the storage drawers not sliding out, the tub leaking all over the floor. We were never offered a different room and the neighbors we had were very obnoxious and tried to get into our room in the middle of the night on more than one occasion. We called the front desk so many times it was embarrassing and finally you just give up. We were told numerous times thing could of been taken care of, but there was only one person at the front desk so they couldn't do anything. We complained to each front desk person about all the issues, and filed a complaint with Booking.com as well. They said they investigated and were told by the hotel management that all our complaints were taken care of in a timely manner. We received an email telling us this. What a joke. Will NEVER stay at a Best Western Hotel anywhere again. Ownership does not care, and apparently are liars as well. Our toilet finally overflowed on Sat and we were told to come and get a plunger and fix it ourselves. They did not have a person to fix it. The outlets in the room did not work! The manager came into our room and said yes he knew they did not work, but basically there was nothing he could do. We stayed there 7 nights and paid a premium to do so. Just a horrible experience and very disappointing to say the least.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting the falls. This hotel was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Our room was clean and spacious. It has a nice indoor pool and a fitness room with nice equipment. The coffee and breakfast was good. The staff was professional and accommodating. The property is well taken care of and clean. It is only a short ride to the falls I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Good hotel and location, near shopping, airport and not far from restaurants. Not too far from interstate HWY. Indoor heated pool is a nice bonus. Breakfast included which is nice as you don't have to venture out in the morning looking for something to eat but does need improvement especially compared to some othe BW hotels. 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby is a nice touch. Free parking. Clean grounds outside as well as the room and hotel.
Stayed here again before our anniversary and it was wonderful, as usual. Friendly staff, warm atmosphere and options. Enjoyed cookies at front desk
i have staed here many times in the last 3 years, great price, clean rooms and staff was great. location is near shopping and outlet mall, only approx 4 miles from falls
We stayed here for 4 nights. There was no cleaning service at all. No one even came in to empty the trash! Also, if you wanted clean towels you had to go to the front desk to acquire them. The hotel has been recently renovated and looks very nice
We always enjoy our stay at the Best Western Summit Inn in Niagara Falls, NY. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the amenities are great. My family enjoys using the pool and fitness centre, even if we only stay for one night. The location is close to shopping and restaurants, this is the only place we stay when we visit Niagara Falls, NY.
Beautiful hotel in a nice area of Niagara falls. Close to all attractions and shopping outlets. Rooms were clean and recently renovated, really nice quiet place to stay. Nice size pool too with small arcade area.
Breakfast was a joke. The sausages were undercooked (which is extremely dangerous) and so were the potatoes. The eggs tasted like fluffy water. The waffles were good to have. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our sheets had just 1 bug (that we could find)
The hotel was okay for the most part. Check in went fine. Not enough trolleys for moving luggage. The pool was available but we didn't get a chance to use it. Fitness room could use dumbells and a bench. There was one equipment that had adjustable weights. The other strength equipment used pneumatic pressure, which doesn't allow for heavier strength work. But there was sufficient cardio equipment. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had egg and sausage so was alright.
Hotel room was very clean and odor free, quite reasonably priced, and convenient to shopping. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great price for area, free breakfast had lots of options and rooms are clean and nice. Lobby was renovated not too long ago and now has a nice area to sit and relax. We come every year at the same time to celebrate my Mom's Birthday. Highly recommend this hotel!
Best Western Summit Inn Is the only place we stay in Niagara Falls NY. The service is outstanding and they are constantly updating the hotel. It is very clean and conveniently located to the outlet malls. I highly recommend this location.
As usual the room was clean, breakfast good and staff extremely accommodating. This has been my hotel of choice for many years and will continue to be hopeful for many years tot come. Good location theat suits my purposes.
Always a clean, quiet and comfortable room. Included breakfast is ample and delicious with tea, coffee and juice available 24 hrs. Open and clean dining room. The pool is well kept and is just the thing to sooth tired muscles after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Easy access to amenities and major roads allowing easy and quick access to Buffalo and the Canadian border.
Good 1 night stay while shopping. Close to mall Friendly staff. Room was pretty clean. Pool was nice and HBO was nice touch. Breakfast was good also. Wifi in room(105) was very weak, so if they could fix that would be perfect stay. Would stay again
This hotel is older and maybe doesn't look like in the most modern area but I would definitely stay against. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Even though it's older the rooms are very clean and quiet.
There wasn't anything exceptional about the hotel or the stay, except the pool. There is a pool. Everything, including the pool, seemed in good condition. They left us in peace (I left the do not disturb sign on the door) and collected the garbage we left outside the room (in trash bags). We were able to check in early when a room was available, that was a plus. We used the pool, which was actually quite nice now that I think about it. There were two decks with table and chairs. No kiddie pool. 3 and 4-foot deep water. The curtains in the room were very effective at keeping out light (this seems hotel-standard). They provided a crib for our son - very firm mattress, the crib.
Hotel was very clean and we enjoyed our stay! Staff was wonderful and the breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again. Only negative was the bathroom was very tiny which makes it a little harder for big guys haha! Pool was clean and location is great!
The hotel was close to everything and it was clean. It had a nice selection for breakfast. The hotel was busy for a week day. Check in was quick but we preregistered. The pool seemed nice, didn't use it. Didn't have any room service but I preferred not having anyone in the room, if I needed anything all we had to do was ask. We will be staying there again.
Bad location and spoiled our trip to Niagara Falls. This is more like a Motel 6. Having previously stayed in a Best Western Plus this one was a Minus. If you can cancel your reservation do so immediately
Went overnight with family to do some shopping. Very close to all the stores we wanted to visit. Indoor pool was amazing for the kids and the included breakfast had everything we needed and was very appreciated. Also a very clean hotel. The only reason I gave 2* on value is because when I booked I thought it was in Canadian currency but when I got my saw my credit card it was almost double the price I expected. Otherwise great home base for a shopping trip.
This hotel was nice and clean. The rooms were lovely and beds comfortable. Breakfast was great. Plenty of choice and nicely presented. All staff were friendly and very kind. Would stay here again if visiting Niagara Falls.
Excellent stayed. Everything very close. Specifically Niagara Falls just 15 minutes away. You can go Canada with in 30 minutes. This is my positive experience. I definitely recommend this hotel. Location wise best location.
Firmer bed than we like. Was a bit further from the falls than I expected. Restaurants were also a distance. Breakfast was good. Was not located in the best neighborhood. Ok for the price. Quiet room.
checked in on saturday, room had two double beds, Mattresses were not the most comfortable, kept thinking i miss my casper mattress at home, house cleaning was non existent, had to grab towels off the house cleaning cart, had to discard trash myself, room above must have had kids , were running rampant, called front desk to complain, still did not stop. breakfast was pretty good. went to use the pool one of the days i was there, lots of people in pool overcrowded
In comparison, the hotel was affordable. It is about 15 minutes away from the falls, but it is an easy drive and near shopping areas. The added benefit of the breakfast was well worth it. Two small concerns: the beds were extremely firm and the fan in the bathroom was loud (and there was no way to turn it off since it was on the same switch as the light). Would stay here again.
Hotel clean and the carpet was new. Beds comfortable. It's about 17 minutes from the falls, or 2 minutes from the airport. Take a helicopter ride over the falls for $620 for 4 people if you care to. That is with a discount coupon found on a map at the front desk of the motel. There were some water problems with the sink and tub but we dealt with it. Also, our tv remote didn't work so we had to use the buttons on the side of the tv. Breakfast was good, nothing extraordinary but we enjoyed that. I noticed the plastic juice cups were the smallest I've ever seen so you might want to take your own.
Hotel is clean and well kept. Bed and pillows good. about a 15 min drive to the falls. Neighborhood around hotel a bit sketchy but not at hotel. Rude guests from a ball team drinking in the hall and kids running up and down halls after 10pm. Try to get a room away from away from large groups! Otherwise, we likes this place & would stay again.
The lady working the front desk is amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is located off the beaten path, about 15 minutes from the falls, but is perfect because it's not so crowded. Great ice cream up the road (De Dee's Dairy). Good breakfast (sausage links, waffles, eggs, potatoes, etc). Beds were a little hard and the pillows were too fluffy for me but that's my personal preference. Water pressure fantastic and pool was nice. Overall, clean hotel. Don't let the looks of where the hotel sits to steer you away. It was a safe place.
I travel to the area and stay frequently. I had never stayed at this BW before, but called and they offered excellent pricing. The room was clean and comfortable, which is all I require. My room was not fancy but not at all outdated. Most importantly it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels and the bathroom was spotless (dirty bathrooms are my trigger haha). The breakfast offered had lots of options and was offered until 10, which is so helpful when you decide to sleep in a bit. Will definitely stay again.
They are very conveniently located. Breakfast was good. Room was poorly maintained. Staff was unfriendly and checkin took forever. They were also rude when we asked for toilet paper refills. Bring your own toilet papers.
Nice hotel, good pool, reasonable breakfast, pleasant staff. Walking distance to Niagara Falls international airport. Would use this hotel again on a visit to Niagara Falls or on a flight from Niagara airport.
We stayed here while we went to a football game in Buffalo. The hotel was convenient to the highways and only a half hour from the stadium. The room was clean and comfortable. It is close to several restaurants and the falls.
There have been a lot of changes since the last time we stayed here. Rooms have been updated, the ladies ( didn't get their names) were great to deal with and to talk to. We were in room 112 and it was quite comfortable. For a quick breakfast, it was good and the coffee from a machine was very good and hot. Will definitely stay again.
It's been almost 3 years since we have been able to come to the states, due to border restrictions. We always stay here due to the convenient location and we have always had no problems each time we are here. This visit was no different. The only difference is as soon as we walked in we noticed they have been doing some renovations. They have completely revamped and renovated the front entrance and the breakfast area. Check in is always easy. I know they are looking at renovating the rooms as well. I do hope they do something about the fans in the bathroom. They are very loud and come on when you turn on the light (no separate switch). That fan can easily wake the dead. This location does have the USB ports here. I have been to other locations and this isn't always available. They had just started serving the breakfast recently and it was limited options at this time. It was enough of a variety that everyone could have something. We look forward to returning in 2023
Stayed at the Summit Inn for two nights to do a little Christmas shopping before heading back to Ontario . Had an amazing experience . Friendly staff , good internet connection and the food was like something prepared in your own kitchen . Room was clean and well kept . The pool is just another added bonus not to be missed . Excellent overall experience . Will return in the near future . It's my one stop and shop hotel been visiting this location for many years and haven't been disappointed yet and don't think I ever will be . Sure to recommend to friends and family . Thanks once again for the family oriented environment .
The Best Western Summit is conveniently located in the shopping area of Niagara Falls and they have a free local shuttle Bus which takes you to all the local attractions/shopping outlets. Hotel itself was recently renovated and was very clean and quiet. Bed was comfy and the heated indoor pool was a blast.
convenient location, near airport. friendly staff, tv too small. did not use pool or have breakfast, got there to sleep before morning flight it served its purpose. not expensive, but i was not there long enough to evaluate amenities
We booked 5 rooms for 3 nights. I would recommend the hotel, as it's clean, comfortable and close to Niagara Falls. I would recommend the hotel providing customer service training to Blake. He was our one and only issue for our stay. When we arrived we asked if we were able to use the dining area to order food in, or to play games (as we had two younger travelers). We were told it would be no problem to use the space. We only had to ask the attendant to turn the lights on when we wanted to use it. The first evening we ordered from a local pizzeria and enjoyed it in the dining room. It was so nice to not have to drive any further for that day and enjoy each other's company (10 in total) in that space. The second evening we approached the desk and asked for the lights to be put on, as we wanted to play some games. Blake quickly said NO. When I told him the manager told me Sunday it was not a problem, he said it's per the employees discretion if they want to turn the lights on. (It's literally a flip of a breaker). He refused. The following night we asked another worker and she gladly turned the lights on for the kids to enjoy their games. It seems that only Blake had an issue being friendly and accommodating to travelers who just wanted to spend quality time together. If it is Best Western's policy to allow the employee to choose if they will turn the lights on, it should be a uniform decision as it really provides inconsistent accommodations for travelers staying multiple nights. It's truly a shame that a clean, well located hotel has Blake behind the desk. We'll absolutely be back to the area, we just may not choose Best Western because of Blake.
Excellent customer service, hotel as described on their website. Breakfast was good, the area was clean and refilled as necessary. Having filtered cold water, tea, juice and coffee available 24/7 a bonus. Room was clean, well stocked with towels, shampoo, soap etc. nice quiet location. Great value !
This hotel doesn't even deserve zero ratings.we had booking confirmation and after driving to Niagara Falls for 9 hours , we got to know that they gave our room to someone else and wouldn't agree that it's their mistake . Staff was very rude didn't apologize or offered any compensation , one of the staff members was such a cheap low class person that she jumped on my husband and tried to snatch his phone .. it got so ugly that we had to call the COPS!! We had 2 elederly persons and 2 young kids with us and we had to find another room in Niagara Falls at last minute where almost everything was sold out . It was a nightmare and we are going for a lawsuit with Best western .I wonder how this business is still open . The lobby rest room was dirty as hell.
4 night stay with no maid service because of "Covid", uh, that's over... No microwave, should have checked the web site, but I just assumed. Great full breakfast. Shared balcony over indoor pool was different, but you could bar the door. Check the front door when you leave, did not close on it's own.
We travel a lot, and when we can, we choose BW hotels. This hotel was a little different than the typical BW's we stay at. Apparently, it was a convention type center at some point? The first-floor halls towards our room had several ramps, the carpet was worn enough that it rolled making it difficult to push the luggage cart. I will say the front desk clerk the evening of our arrival on 7/30/22 was pleasant, although she did not recognize us as Diamond Reward members, she was quick to ensure we were registered for all possible points. We did not receive a Diamond thank you for staying gift either. She did, however, provide us with a list of local restaurant options and answered all of our questions, Our room had an odor to it, which was concerning for me. It basically smelled like a very old building. When we ran the a/c unit it caused the room to feel damp. The lighting in the bathroom area was rather dim, which resulted in a led lamp purchase for us so I could see how to dry my hair properly. Our a/c unit was dusty as well. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast area very large and the attendants kept it well stocked. The room itself was spacious. One of the main reasons we selected this hotel is due to my allergies, I cannot stay in hotels that allow pets. This particular location does not accept pets. This seems to be a very busy hotel. It did bother me the rates even for BW members was so high, granted it was weekend nights - but almost $500.00 for 2 nights is a bit much considering the appearance of this hotel. If in the area to visit Niagara would I stay at this location again, maybe. A lot will depend on Trip Advisor reviews in the future.
We booked our room for a week in July back in March, at $1100+. We received our emails from Booking.com and Paypal saying it was paid in full. Fast forward to July, drive several hundred miles and we're at the front desk. My fiancé shows them our reservation and email saying it is paid in full. The women at the desk say it isn't. So we get ahold of Booking.com and Paypal and have them forward further proof all payments went through and our reservation was confirmed. Nope, both women said we weren't paid up. Neither bothering to call a manager or get it figured out on their end. Now we are to the point of calling Best Western Customer service and amazingly a manager just appears out of nowhere. The manager agrees that we are paid up and have a room reserved. Worst front desk service I've ever had. I ask for a discount because of the absolute load of BS we had to put up with and the unprofessional behavior of their front desk. Can't be done because we used Booking.com. But they'll upgrade us. Sure, sounds good. Upgrade came with a leaky tub because it isn't level. (Room 130) Awesome upgrade. TLDR Bad front desk service and coordination with booking website. Room 130 has a leaky tub surround and using a third party site will keep them from giving you a discount/refund of any kind. Housekeeping was fine.
Found a foreign substance in the bed. The staff asked us to smell whether it was poop or chocolate (we declined.) The next morning the manager had the audacity to blame us for planting the substance and was incredibly rude about the whole situation. The customer service was so bad with the manager it was almost surreal. No accountability, and blaming the guest? Unreal. We were already staying in a king suite so why would we have wanted to move? It defies logic. Our stay was so bad that we are going to file a complaint with the corporate office. If the owner is reading this, your manager sucks at his job!!! Don't stay here. Pictures speak for themselves.
Was looking for a Hotel to stay and while we were in town for our daughters soccer tournament. The room was nice and had no problems at all, the pool was bigger then other pools I have seen in other hotels and it was nice. Breakfast area was nice and big. Front desk was very nice and so were the other people that worked there. There was not complaints from us at all. I would stay there again.
A nice place place to stay when visiting Niagara Falls or Buffalo. Centrally located to the falls, shopping and everything the area has to offer. The beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Free hot breakfast in the morning.
We travelled on the East Coast for two weeks and my sons ranked this NUMBER ONE of the five hotels we stayed at. We got a suite because I'm not good at sleeping in the same room as my kids. It was huge and not very expensive compared to regular hotel rooms. The main room had two beds, a couch and tv, and bathroom. The bedroom consisted of a king bed with door. My husband went out the two nights we were there to pick up food and went shopping for a few incidentals we needed. Everything we close by. The Niagara Falls tour went went on picked us up and dropped us back off at the location which was nice. Breakfast was good. My younger son especially liked the poppyseed mini muffins. I picked this hotel because of the indoor pool and arcade, but my sons didn't take advantage of either. I took off one star because both nights there was a semi truck parked outside our room in the parking lot that woke us up early in the morning when it started it's engine. Not sure if it was the same truck or different one. I was thinking maybe the hotel has some kind of deal to let them stay there so I didn't complain to the front desk.
After my wife and I having been loyal customers of this location several times a year for the last 12 years, it's unfortunate that they have gotten to the point where we will be looking elsewhere from now on. Traveling from Canada when we were finally able to, again, we were saddened to hear that they no longer provide housekeeping service( which is usually a staple of the hospitality industry ) they always had , and we were always impressed with the quality and tipped the staff very well upon leaving. However, the first time back in the post travel restrictions era, we were told we could “ request” housekeeping . We assumed this was for the peace of mind of any customers who didn't want it. We requested it , but it was no more than simply making the bed haphazardly and changing the towels. This time, when asked, they claimed they were “ much too busy to provide housekeeping for anyone other than the construction workers.” So.. we are paying over $400 to stay in a small room with a mini fridge for 3 nights, and have to “ throw the towels outside the door and go get fresh ones from the front counter every morning, as well as make the bed, tidy the room and clean the sink and counter every morning . Not the end of the world, for sure, but when there are quality hotels offering these services in the area, why would we spend our money here? It's like the restrictions of service during Covid showed them how much money they were saving by not having a housekeeping staff , and they decided to keep it that way Sad.
Nice hotel. Rooms are clean but small. Would have been very crowded for 4 adults. Breakfast was ok if you like carbs. They did have powdered eggs and sausage links . Mini muffins, white bread, waffles, cereal, Activia yogurt , bananas and apples. Need sound proofing as kids were running up and down halls alot! Pool area very clean and nice . We would stay here again!
After reading all the reviews, we booked this hotel based on cleanliness, free breakfast, and an indoor pool. All were better than expected. Cleanliness was our number one concern. The staff were very friendly, and the location was good for us. GR8 stay!
Cleanest and safest hotel I ever stayed in.Close to all things needed and easy access to Niagara Falls.I cannot say enough about the friendliness of staff.A safe and quit location for all.I would recommend to anyone with family and beyond!
This hotel was a great value and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and service. Appeared to be recently remodeled and ckean. The breakfast was a grab and go but all you needed. Service was very good.
I stayed here for a number of days and nights and My Stay was EXCELLENT. All Employees made sure My stay was very comfortable and I had everything I needed. All Employees go Above and Beyond to make your stay Enjoyable. I Definately Recommend this Hotel. You will not be Dissapointed.
I had a wonderful time breakfast was delicious coffee was great even a little coffee maker was in the room hotel management was very kind and patient would love to stay again I had so much fun and it is was so close to everything
Really no complaints about this property. We were looking for a reasonable rate even if it was up the road some from the falls. And this was a good fit. The drive provided many places to dine anyways. No problems to speak of in the room. Everything worked fine. Grab and go breakfast was fine too. Sausage breakfast sandwich, yogurt, fruit, pastry, coffee, juice ... were all good, although after the third time we were tired of sausage. Did not use the pool because we spent so much time at the falls, Fort Niagara and other places, but it looked nice. We will most likely stay here again.
I don't know what the standard price for this hotel, but if you get it for under $100 like we did (quite a bit under actually), there's very little to complain about this hotel. It's just around the corner from the Military Rd outlet mall, Target, Walmart etc. making it great for cross-border shoppers. It's about 10-minute drive to the falls. It's not in the most elegant area. and the parking lot didn't feel 100% safe due to this, but we had no issues, so maybe I'm being unfairly judgy. Due to Covid, there is no continental breakfast right now and the breakfast area is closed off (except for the microwaves). Instead, they have a grab-and-go breakfast in the front lobby but they do do provide coffee, juice, fruit and a microwavable breakfast sandwich thing. The pool looked great, although we didn't partake. The room was fine. Nothing to write home about, but what you'd expect for the price. We found a couple of hairs on the floor in the bathroom, and the room was in slight disrepair (the usual things you find if you closely inspect most comparable hotels such as baseboard separating in spots, stained caulking, minor ceiling water damage etc. Nothing too outrageous and none of it made the room feel dirty or uncomfortable. Given the other hotels/motels in the area, I would gladly stay there again if the price hadn't increased too much.
I visited Niagara fall in November first week. After reaching there, I stayed in Best western Summit Inn in New York. This hotel is close to the fashion outlet of Niagara Falls. I wanted to stay in a hotel near to my destination location, Old Fort Niagara and Niagara Falls. Accessing shopping centers, local restaurants, and entertainment options is very easy. Best Western Summit Inn is a well-furnished hotel with air-conditioning, free parking, 24 hours front desk, and a non-smoking room. I got facilities like a swimming pool, gym, huge and fully loaded dining area. Cook and staff were trained. Food and rooms were upgraded. I would have been more than happy If I could get some more space in my apartment. But it's not costly & worth my expenses.
This hotel room was dirty.breakfast not good just grab and go .Carpet nesty smell come. bathroom have big hair wall have stain so many problems, we never come back this hotel.staff not friendlly. so nopoint we go complain for room.
This is a great hotel for people on the go. Newly remodeled clean and management seems to make sure the have happy and pleasant staff. Easy in and out and very quiet. We have stayed here two to three times per year for the last 8 to 10 years visiting family and it has always been the same.
Great staff and the owner is hands on. This covid thing is being played out cause they have food you can put in microwave for breakfast. It would actually be safer to get a meal and sit down instead there is compacted folks getting coffee and using microwave ovens.
Bring a swimsuit and workout clothes. Both amenities are at this location. Room was well appointed, clean, etc. Location was good for what I needed. There's a bowling alley next door, restaurants close by and near the tourist sights. Breakfast was fine. Easy to take on the go, too.
hello, I just been travelling with my two daughter in august to Niagara falls. We stayed at Niagara falls on the American site. WE loved our hotel, the pool, I could do laundry , free parking. Is just when I booked the place in April of this year , the price included hot breakfast. I understand Covid-19 guidelines but I feel like some more could have been done then just wrapped up muffin, banana or apple option and yogurt. Of course there was a coffee or tea and orange juice. But when you travel with two kids and planning all day at Niagara falls to go sightsiing I was looking for little more when that. YOu can buy invdiviually wrapped cereal or oatmeals and have a milk next to it . The dining room was big enough people could make distance as I think they would. I was dissapointed. Luckily I had my own cheerios and oatmeals made nice breakfast in our room other wise all was good
We have been traveling for two weeks and staying in Best Western hotels along the way. Best Western Summit Inn was - by far - the best property in terms of cleanliness, aesthetics and amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. The lobby and hallways were appealing. The pool was clean. The mini-arcade area was an added bonus for the kids. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. We stayed at multiple Best Western Plus properties that would be put to shame by the Best Western Summit Inn.
Stayed here recently for family trip to the falls. Check in was quick, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Was educated of changes due to Covid which included limited breakfast options and no housekeeping during stay upfront. Was able to request towels etc by calling front desk. Room was clean and comfortable. Room had mini fridge which was helpful. The only weird part about the room was the sink faucet was really close to sink so when we used it the counter would get wet. Pool was nice and hotel is close to many stores and yummy places to eat. Falls are only 10 min Away. Check out was seamless. Would recommend.
My hotel room was filthy (dirty sheets with visible makeup and hair, no towels, hair and dirty cups and used toiletries in the shower, dirty feet prints on the bathroom floor). When I requested cleaning services and ultimately a new room, I was refused and then yelled at by staff who told me I should be grateful that they checked me in at all since I arrived in the morning, even though I paid full price for the night before and for two days overall. I checked out early (after only 6 hours) and requested a refund - the manager is refusing and saying that I am lying. Worst hotel experience ever! I was driving overnight from out of town and had called ahead to check availability. The receptionist told me they could check me in that morning but I would have to pay full price for the night before - no problem, I was happy to have a place to stay after driving all night. When checking in, the receptionist said that there was a problem with the room and it wasn't ready even though we had confirmed the reservation hours before. After waiting for 20 minutes, we were given the keys and we went to the room. Not sure what happened in that time but it was not cleaning or re-stocking...Exhausted from driving we wanted to sleep but then realized the bed linens were dirty, with visible hair and make up markings. I called the front desk and the receptionist herself came to change the sheets. She said that the bedding was "gross and unacceptable". Once the sheets were changed, we immediately went to sleep. When we woke up 5 hours later, we wanted to take showers. I went to the bathroom and was appalled to find the floor filthy, empty used cups and toiletries in the shower, and worst of all, a layer of hair all over the shower floor. I called the front desk to ask for a new room and they said they would send a manager. A man came with cleaning supplies (not sure if he was a manager or not) and said that he would clean the shower. We said that we just wanted a new room, as that room obviously hadn't been cleaned after the last guest and needed to be cleaned top to bottom. This man started yelling at us, saying that we should be grateful that they were going to clean the shower at all, that it was our own fault for checking in in the morning (despite paying full price for the night before as I mentioned). He said that there were no other rooms and we should be happy to have this one. "Next time don't check in in the morning," he said, as if we had a choice. We were upset about the dirtiness of the room but absolutely appalled by the horrible customer service! I have never experience anything like it before. Instead of apologizing or offering solutions, everyone at the hotel treated us as though we were the problem. We decided to go somewhere else. The customer service and quality of amenities being far far below expectation, we thought it was reasonable to ask for a refund. Especially since we were leaving just 6 hours into our 2 day reservation! The front desk refused to give us a refund or put us in touch with a manager. I have been trying to get in touch with a manager now for the last 3 days and every time I call, the manager is "out". Today, the receptionist told me that the manager put a note on my account that says no discount or refund. I am now working with Best Western's corporate staff to hopefully procure a refund, but it has been very time consuming. I would absolutely not recommend staying that this hotel, the customer service and amenities are some of the worst I have ever experienced.
We had a good stay at the hotel. We when on a tour that picked us up at the hotel. The rooms were nice and the staff was friendly and seemed to work hard. They had Covid breakfast but looks like they have a big dinning room. When things open up should be good. They are a few fast food places close and some sit down ones. I will stay again.
The hotel pictures look great but the surrounding area is dicey. I was concerned about even staying here for the night. We did not but rather booked elsewhere quickly. Poor representation online - not the whole story.
Noisy room with kids running around at midnight, breakfast options were not up to what was expected. I doubt I would stay at this location again. Was not satisfied with the room or the service of the room.
Large family traveling to Niagara Falls. We needed 2 rooms. Both rooms were clean. The bathtubs drained slowly (but drained properly) and the faucets were not the correct size for the sink but that was the extent of our complaints. Everything functioned well. There was a fridge in each room. Microwaves were all located in the main lobby but it was workable. Towels were available for the pool at request at the front desk. Front desk staff was knowledgeable of the area, friendly and approachable. Room and hallways look a bit outdated. I'll take outdated as long as the room look maintained and cleaned. Continental breakfast was simple but no complaints.
Please don't waste your time and money here. We rented two nights for $318, but stayed only one night (6 hours), rushed out the next morning, sacrificing $160 — it was that bad. First, there was an awful damp/musty smell. There were also stains in the halls and in our window curtains, and headboard, not enough lights, bathroom arrangements were ‘off'. This was the first time we felt dirty even after shower (LOL).The overall atmosphere felt cold, dark, boring and bland. The quality we received isn't worth the money. Only the front desk/ entrance looked renovated and cleaned but the entire hotel needs a serious renovation and maintenance as well…….then, they can charge people this much money. We learned from the front desk employee that the owner himself was cleaning these rooms due to employee shortage. We understand the current labor shortage situation but don't understand why this hotel was charging so much for crappy business. We moved to Hampton Inn Lockport/ Buffalo which is also a 2-star hotel but worth every penny we paid ($203).
Over all a pleasant experience, Was told when I booked that they had a hot tub which they ended up not having. The mattress was nice and firm and I slept very well on it however the pillows were very soft and did not give good support. The room décor was a little outdated but overall a pleasant experience considering we had a semi private balcony overlooking the indoor pool.
Very nice hotel property. Also the rates were very reasonable. The property was close to our destination. Plenty of restaurants nearby for our dinner needs. Felt that the location was safe. I would definitely stay here again.
Bed bugs was in room 208 the first bed and the manager tried covering it up by saying they didn't see any bugs after 4 days later of entering the room when I have the pictures of the bugs crawling in the bed and the two fresh red bites
Everything was clean, rooms were cozy and spacious. Staff was friendly. Location was good for tourist, only being about ten minutes from most attractions. Would recommend staying here. Breakfast was still offered as a grab bag in the morning (due to covvid) wifi and coffee were available 24/7.
We stayed at the Best Western a few days ago. The room was clean and the location was fine. The bed was comfortable and this was a great value for the location to the falls. I would stay here again when coming back to visit Niagara Falls. It is about a 20 minute drive to the falls!
The hotel was very clean. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was great value for the price. Breakfast was good. Better than continental. Rooms very very quiet. We would stay here again if we come back.
This was our fourth stay. Lobby is currently under construction. The remainder of the hotel is clean and tidy. Parking is free. Plenty of Canadians here for Park & Fly. Niagara airport is 6 min down the road. Sabres Key Bank Center is an easy 34 min drive. Target, Tops, Tim Hortons are all just down the road. I'd also recommend the outlet mall in the area. Wifi worked on each stay except for this last one in room #220. Pool is great. Basic breakfast included.
Hotel lobby was under construction. Temporary entrance was not clearly marked. Finaly did find it. Hotel room was great, everything worked well. Would recommend this as a great place to stay. Especially if you are flying out of Niagara Falls International Airport.
This facility has some great amenities including a heated indoor pool that actually feels heated, and a hot breakfast not matched anywhere else. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient.
We recently stayed here for one night during a visit to Niagara Falls, NY. Front desk check-in was smooth...room was clean...beds comfortable. Breakfast was good with a wide assortment of hot and cold items to choose from. Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was quite low, but there was still plenty of hot water. Would stay here again.
Stayed here one night. Got a great AARP rate. We arrived early and was able to check in and access our room. Very clean. Comfortable beds, and able to control temperature. Breakfast was very good!! Didn't use the pool. Have to go in the back for the desk as they are renovating the front. So that was a bit confusing
Clean well appointed hotel. Breakfast is awesome as they have waffle machines. Also other foods available. This hotel looks newly renovated and they are doing a good job. The only complaint was the towels. I know people have a tendency to take towels but I don't like scratchy towels. Otherwise was a nice stay.
Have stayed at this hotel several times and they never disappoint. Clean, comfortable rooms. Customer service is helpful and friendly, breakfast in the morning is a great way to start your day. Pool is an added bonus, will continue to come and stay here.
Our stay for three nights was excellent, breakfast was very good, the room was very clean and quite. We would for sure stay there again. Our room was large with a couch in it and we also had a balcony over looking the pool.Excellent stay no complaints. The bed was awesome for sleeping also
staff is always very nice. hotel is always clean. rooms always clean. good food at breakfast. location of the hotel is excellent very close to a number of restaurants and shopping centers. great bowling alley next door to hotel
The room was clean.. limited breakfast options.. Hotels in the area allow complementary parking if you are staying at the hotel. Checked in late after flight from Florida and the front desk clerk told me I need to pay $20 for leaving my car. I was not informed about this when I dropped the car off before the flight. I have stayed at this hotel before and parked without being charged. Apparently this hotel charges a parking fee when you book through Expedia. The funny thing is I didn't book this through Expedia (I used Aeroplan points and have done this before without being charged at this hotel)
Had a great stay. The breakfast here was amazing. Staff were helpful and nice. The room rate is a little bit expensive for the area and location. It is located very close to the Niagara Falls IAG airport With our stay at this hotel, they allowed us to park our car here instead of paying big parking charges at the airport. Has a swimming pool but we didn't get a chance to use it.
Desk clerk wasn't very friendly. Should have hot chocolate too for hot chocolate lovers.Have mini donuts for the kids so they can have a little snack . Also they need too ask for are points to be added on.
Nice hotel in a great location for what we needed. Breakfast was good. It had both hot and cold items such as eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffle makers, yogurt, cereals, breads, sweet pasteries fruit and all choices of drinks. Pool was good. Service was good
Christina and staff are all amazing and friendly. They do their best to ensure the guests are comfortable, happy and satisfied! We have been coming to this location for almost 10 years because of the excellent team!
We really like this hotel since it is close to Niagara Falls NY airport. You can park your car for free if you stay over night. Next day take a taxi 5 min. to airport. They offer a free breakfast which is really good. Very clean and organized with a variety of foods including cold cereal, waffles you can make, scrambled eggs and sausage. They are the first place that have hot containers that part of the lid is plexiglass so you don't need to open it if it is something you do not want. Love that! The rooms are up to date with lots of towels. Still prefer no rug on the floor but that's just a preference. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The last time we stayed the weather was terrible and we worried if our flight would be cancelled. They checked for us plus printed out our Allegiant ticket which saved us $5 each. Also close to Military Mall and other outlets for shopping.
Our stay was wonderful from check in to check out. Everything was very clean and staff was very friendly. There were lots of things to do in the area --shopping, restaurants, etc. We will definitely stay again if in the area again.
The check in was quick and simple. Our room was adequate, nothing special but it was clean. The heater did seem to run relentlessly all night which was a bit annoying. We didn't get to the pool but understand it's a bit of a draw. I would stay here again when in the area.
Stayed here before and after shopping, easy to find after crossing border. Wonderful, friendly front desk staff, no matter when they were engaged. Renovated breakfast area gives lots of room when choosing items, this time they had three hot items instead of the usual two. Milk dispenser was meant for coffee cups, very slow and painful if you want a glass of milk, the little stream made for a long visit, to fill a glass. There was juice, coffee and yogurt available during the day. No hot tub, but pool is stated as 82 degrees, usually try out pool, but not this trip, 'we had a shop till we drop' trip. Other travelers commented on pool temperature. Room was comfortable and well furnished with charging ports.
This hotel had a great location, close to malls and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean, reasonably quiet and staff was friendly. It was also very reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
One of the best values in the area . Clean & welcoming . Great complimentary breakfast & coffee & tea . Pool area is always pristine . Mike & his staff are top notch & so good to deal with & always eager to please !!!
Stayed for 2 nights. Reserved one room online through the hotel's website. We were visiting to attend a Buffalo Sabres hockey game, and the positive reviews and AAA rate convinced us to give the Summit Inn a try. Our room had two double beds, and a folded crib was placed in our room for our late arrival. It did not take us long to set it up, but it was an inconvenience to occupy our child well past bedtime. We did enjoy the complimentary breakfast during our stay. The food was well stocked, and we liked the BW waffle makers. The area surrounding the hotel is functional with restaurants and grocery stores within driving distance. We also visited the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA (five minutes away). While the Summit Inn met our needs, it did not seem any different from the older hotels along the stretch of Niagara Falls Boulevard. We will likely forego the 30-minute drive and stay in Buffalo for future visits.
Great place and very affordable Good breakfast Close to all shopping Have stayed at this location a dozen times.....for girls shopping trip Highly recommend this location Only 10 mins from border and easy access
We recently stayed at the Best Western Summit Inn for a cross border shopping trip. We are always amazed at how clean the hotel is. The rooms are decorated very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had lots of towels which is always a problem at other hotels. The room offered a fridge which is a nice bonus. We also enjoyed the FREE breakfast which offered more than just muffins and danishes. We had sausage, potatoes, eggs, make your own waffles, toast, cereal, yogourt, fruit and coffee/tea and juice - well done!
The hotel was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful. This hotel is perfect for a shopping trip as it is close to the outlet mall. It's even better now that most of the renovations are completed. The pool is larger than most since this is a older hotel that has been updated. Excellent service. We will be back.
our first night was great but second day while in our room after asking for nobody to enter our room we discovered the cleaning staff was in room while we clearly had the privacy sign on the door, also later in the evening after coming back from shopping and dinner while getting changed to go for a swim we had people coming into our room the hotel gave our room and keys to it to other guests it was the most unsafe and horrible experience we have ever had and although they comped us for the night we never received an apology and they couldn't seen to get us out of the hotel sunday morning quick enough we never left the room after sat night till we could put all of our belongings in the car so we knew they were safe. they tried to tell us we were supposed to check out sat morning and check back in so they knew room was occupied sat night even though they clearly had reservations for both nights and had put them on credit card
Stayed here for a night before a flight out at Niagara airport. Have stayed here a few times in past as well. Room rates are good but outstanding service is what continues to bring me back late night front desk check in was amazing also park and fly option if you book your room directly through hotel saved us a bunch!! Hotel is very close to outlet mall and many restaurants. Will keep coming back every time I fly from Niagara.
Older hotel. Very clean and rooms were large with nice decor. Food is just okay nothing exciting there. Hotel was quiet and in a good location for going to see the falls. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.
So glad we stayed here for our visit to the Falls, rather than nearer to the town centre. Ample car parking, great hospitality, lovely swimming pool, varied and satisfying breakfast, a peaceful sleep, and all at about two thirds of the price of hotels nearer the Falls. And when you have a free pass issued by the hotel for a trolleybus which stops right outside, and takes you to the Falls in less than half an hour.... you can't lose.
nice clean quiet hotel.....good breakfast.... close to outlet shopping and a quick ride to shea's buffalo....nice pool..... very pleasant and helpful staff...fast check in and check out.....definetly will stay here again
This was a nice hotel close to Niagara Falls State Park. The hotel was had a good breakfast as well as a nice business center. It was easy to get to the park from a centralized location. Lots of eateries around hotel
Was back home in Niagara Falls visiting a couple weeks ago. The lady at the desk gave one price for a 2 night stay, on my Best Western app I had a different price. The service was great, clean room and the breakfast was good. Its the second time staying there and there will be a third on my next trip home to visit.
The hotel was kind of out dated. But it was very clean and the staff were super friendly. We didnt get the best room though. And it was loud. We didnt eat at the hotel at all but should have. The breakfast looked good.
Nice hotel, clean, quiet. Typical Best Western. I am interested in a good nights rest and a good solid breakfast and I always get them at Best Western. This was a great place to stay for a couple days while we checked out the falls. Staff at the desk were great, gave us some great tips on where to eat local and their picks were fantastic. Very helpful. I will stay here again next time I am in town.
really friendly personal on point with everything for the cost was amasing all there advices in where to go and where not to go.Beside that front desk was really helpfull on telling us where is some places to go as a family and where will be kids frendly as well.
Overall, the stay was great. Very clean, staff was super friendly. The breakfast had a big selection for everyone; however, both mornings when we got there the potatoes were luke warm or cold but otherwise everything was good! Would stay here again for a weekend getaway!
Enjoyed our visit very much. Staff was friendly, rooms were perfect with a refrigerator. Large breakfast area with good food choices. Close to Niagara Falls - about a 15 minute drive maximum. Very easy to get to. Would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed a great one-night stay here on the night prior to the Bills/Pats game at New Era Field. The service was great, the breakfast was much better than expected with a variety of fresh fruits and juices, eggs & sausages, make-your-own toast and waffles, muffins and coffee/tea. One within our group had a cut and was given a small aloe plant, which did help. We were very impressed with the last item, but with our overall experience here!!!
Two mornings in a row the water was malfunctioning, scalding hot no cold... we reported the front desk attendant recorded the wrong room number, not sure whose mistake that was, but had the same problem next morning
Great location, only minutes to Niagara Falls. Nice hotel. Our room was fantastic. "Weird" smell in public areas though. Maybe use febreeze to freshen up the public areas. Decent breakfast, even though they served the same thing both days we were there. Nice breakfast area.
Stayed for 2 nights on visit to Niagara Falls. 15 minutes drive to the Falls State Park area and near to airport. Seemed to get a good rate at $80 per night which was good value. Breakfast good with lots of choice. Swimming pool well maintained although a bit cool.
Stayed for 3 nights, rooms are modern and clean! Amenities are on point, great indoor pool area, game room, laundry facility, Hot full breakfast bar with spacious dining room, quiet and very quaint! Highly recommend this place!
Mike the owner and his staff have always been good to us. we travel several times a year for shopping and at times with the grand kids. they love the pool. hours are great as we shop late lol. breakfast has improved tremendously over the years. its clean and quite. Management is always available.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, the breakfast had several options including fresh fruit, waffles, sausage, eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, milk and juice. The room was comfortable and not cramped. Everything has been updated so amenities were great.
I booked this hotel so I could leave my vehicle there while I flew to Florida for a week. It was nice after arriving back in the evening to have a comfortable room to stay in and a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Staff are very friendly. I wish they had a shuttle back and forth to the airport.
The staff at this location are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and everything is in close proximity. Sight seeing and shopping is excellent. Within 30 minutes you have access to a huge outlet mall and regular shopping malls. Many restaurant options as well.
Pros: Room space was good. Value was good. Breakfast area was huge, variety was average but plentiful. Staff friendly. Cons. Water pressure was fine at the faucet but kind of low after activating the shower head itself. INTERNET WIFI IS ATROCIOUSLY SLOW.
Room with one king bed was spacious, clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked well. Given the heavy tourism in the area prices are high relative to the value provided by this hotel. The breakfast buffet, although well-stocked, was exactly the same each of the three days we stayed there. The dryer for guest use needs help - it was unable to completely dry an average load of laundry both times we washed clothes, and required a second run. Some rooms could be more subject to noise than others: ours, toward the front of the first floor, had kids running on the ramped (hollow?) floor outside, and first-floor rooms near the pool could probably hear the video games in the hall outside the pool. So, if you can choose your room, choose carefully.
Very comfortable beds & linens ! Delicious hot & cold buffet breakfast included free. Great heated indoor pool ! Location of hotel is great for shopping, visiting Falls or flying out of Niagara or Buffalo airports and it's quiet hotel too !! Looking forward to returning to Best Western Summit Inn !! Thanks for another excellent mini family vacation !!
The location was about 5 miles from the Falls, but close enough and parking was free. The hotel was very clean!!!!! Breakfast was good and had many choices (same stuff every day) but is included (free)
This hotel has a good location close to the airport, outlet mall, restaurants and Downtown Niagara Falls, Ny. Plenty of parking for everyone. It's a 2 floors building wich doesn't get that crowded, and good continental breakfast every day.
upon arrival the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with info concerning the area. the rooms were very clean and the beds were great. they have a large breakfast area that is well stocked with a good variety of food for everyone
Hotel was very clean. Looked fairly new or newly renovated. Included breakfast was good. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. About a 15 minute drive to the US Falls. Free shuttle also available.
Breakfast lacking in flavor and variety, room clean and comfortable, a little small, same breakfast options all the days of our stay, egg things were burnt the last day, sausage was too spicy, and other wise tasted like cardbiard
Finding a hotel in the Falls that is affordable is a challenge. The Best Western Summit Inn was affordable and clean. Our bed was very comfortable, our room was spacious and clean, and the (included) breakfast provided the basics- eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and waffles. It's about 20 mins. from the Falls area, but that was ok with us. There is ample parking. The staff was friendly and pointed us to a currency exchange not far from the hotel. This hotel worked great for us.
Very very clean, friendly and helpful staff, great free breakfast and close to attractions and restaurants. Stayed here on a recent vacation to Niagara Falls and it was great. Only a 10 - 15 minute drive from all the main attractions. Some great restaurants nearby. Small game room for the kids (and adults). Nice sized indoor pool. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!!
Everything was perfect at this hotel from the check into the rooms to the pool to the breakfast in the morning to the staff everybody was nice and I like that you could park your car without paying an additional charge that was a plus nice hotel
We had a 2 queen bed room - very comfortable & clean. Breakfast was ok. I would stay there again as long as they get a new day manager. We were flying into the Buffalo/Niagara Falls International Airport. We were not familiar with the Buffalo/ Niagara Falls area. I wanted a hotel near to the "Falls" & this one is about 15 minutes away from the falls & I thought about 15-20 minutes away from the BNF International airport. We were arriving after midnight so I called the hotel & asked about a shuttle from the airport. I said airport - not the Buffalo/Niagara Falls airport. The girl that answered my call and questions said that they did not have a shuttle but gave me the name of a taxi service that charged $7 a person to bring us to the hotel. She gave me their phone number. Great right? Little did I know that there was another airport right down the street from them. The Niagara Falls airport...that was the one she was referring to. WE get to Buffalo & call the number - "oh sorry we don't come that far." ?? What?? I was given misinformation. So we had to either pay for a $60 cab ride after midnight or rent a car. So we finally get there about 2 am. I talk to the manager the next morning to suggest she have desk people ask more questions - like which airport are you flying in from. The employees are familiar with the area - visitors are not. I asked for a little compensation - perhaps on room rate - maybe $10-15 off. She said they didn't do that and rudely implied that the whole problem was my fault. So much for "BEST"!
Booked this hotel based on the TripAdvisor reviews. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed one night. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Perfect for our family to get a quick bite before hitting the road. This hotel is a great value for the price. Worked well for our family budget and needs. Cleanliness and comfort being top priorities, the Summit Inn delivered.
Came to Niagara falls for two days with family and decided to rent two rooms through CheapTickets.com the total price for two rooms was $480 upon arriving to the hotel they had already charged me an amount that was not the correct. Next day I went to the front desk to fix the problem and the young girl who was busy playing her game on the computer “Dominó”gave me attitude could not answer any of my questions. When I explained to her the situation with the charges she told me “ I AM NOT A BANK “ “ CALL YOUR BANK “ “ ALSO TELL YOUR BANK TO RELEASE THE FUNDS “all of this without even looking at me. So I called CheapTickets.com and they told me and they have to honor the right amount so I went back to the front desk and I asked to speak to a manger to what she responded “ there is not manager “ not looking at my face and continuing playing her game. I told her I would speak to a manager next day. All she replay was “ok” . So I decided to call CheapTickets.com and a representative asked me to speak to whoever was at the front desk so I out of nowhere she decided to put her game aside and look in the computer again and this time she found the reservation and decided to honor our reservation that we made through CheapTickets.com , this is not the way you treat a customer if you are not happy with your job then you should not be workings in customer service. You have to honor any transaction that is made by CheapTickets.com or other party. I will for sure to come to the Niagara Falls but next time I will be more careful that this hotel don't charge the wrong amount. I am not happy with the way I was treated by the young girl at the front desk.
Would definitely stay again. The people that worked there were so nice. I had a lot of questions as far as trying to get around. They informed me about the trolley that stopped out front. They also called a cab for me and told me how much it was going to cost for where I wanted to go. Breakfast was good. Hot eggs & sausage and make your own waffles. Beds were comfortable and I got a good nights sleep (4 nights)!
I highly recommend this hotel. The check in, check out was real easy thanks to Samantha. The hotel is clean and well worth the price I paid for it. Breakfast was good enough to fill you up to start your day. The pool was great and relaxing, never crowded or hard to enjoy. There are people who nitpick and complain about the smallest things in their reviews that dont remember that they dont live there, only renting a room to basically shower and sleep there. I loved my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Samantha was the best at her job. The only complaint I could think of was the padding on the bed kept slipping off, but a really minor issue. I'm a member of the other big chains of hotels and this hotel ranks right up there with them. Stay here, you wont regret it, I didn't.
This place was amazing. My kids really enjoyed themselves. They have a pool and game area for the kids. They also have breakfast daily. They also offer the customers hot tea and coffee all day. The check-in process was convenient and quick. The one thing that I did not like was that we had to get towels from the front desk.
Room had a odor which was overwhelmingly. Not happy. I wish they had taken care of. Hotel is a bit further away from the Niagara Falls. Big breakfast area and people working in the breakfast area are very helpful and nice.
I stayed here last minute because my previous plans had changed. They were very accommodating on short notice and all the staff seemed to be very pleasant. The room was ok only downfall was the balcony to the room was right above the pool so you heard all the noise from the time the pool opened until they closed and even sometime after it was supposed to be closed. The Bess were comfortable and it was clean. The building inside could use so work and updating. The breakfast was included but it wasn't very good and the chairs in the dining area were gross. Looked as if they had been wet in a flood or something. Overall not to bad.
Courteous staff, quick check in, bonus to find out there was a trolley service included to go to Niagra Falls. Was able to enjoy the sights and not have to maneuver traffic. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed 2 nights in king room. Room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, shower good and breakfast fine. Check-in staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. A little bit away from the Falls but trolley-bus right at the door or easy with the car. Would definitely stay here again.
I would highly recommend a stay at Best Western Summit Inn, in Niagara Falls NY. It is a very clean, reasonably priced hotel. The staff are very helpful & friendly! Very attentive to your needs & at your door within 5 minutes if you have any issues! I stay there at least 2-3 times a year & am always very satisfied! Very clean rooms with very comfortable beds!
This hotel is away from the craziness of Niagara which was nice. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast had a good selection. The only negative thing was that the faucet was set too far back from the sink so when you washed your hands of got water all over the country get top.
the staff were very warm and welcoming. everyone greeted you. perfect location for our purposes. the pool was clean and well kept. my husband enjoyed using the workout facilities. would definitely stay here again .
Niagra Falls, NY has some areas that are sketchy. This hotel was away from that. It felt safe and was very clean. Updated or brand new fixtures and decor. Lovely service. Low price. No bugs. No smells. Just a clean comfy place. Close to the falls ( like 10 minutes)
This hotel is a bit of a mess, it's so uncoordinated and looks like a blot on the Best Western Landscape! Brown carpets, red chairs, blue curtains in the breakfast room, not a single picture, just a non atmospheric mess!.....just smacks of a really low budget hotel that bought all their mismatched furniture at an auction for the lowest price. It also smells musty and weird. Come on Best Western make this place feel less like a hovel and sort it out to your usual standards!
Was very impressed by this hotel and the accommodations. The rooms seemed recently updated. Extremely clean. Only stayed 1 day but will definitely stay longer next time I am in this area. Checked out the pool area and gym. Very clean and inviting but was on a very tight schedule and was unable to enjoy the amenities. Cafe was very clean and offers coffee, juice, water and iced tea 24 hours. They will also allow use of the dining area for a place to eat take out food after hours. Generally this hotel is what many hotels should strive for in making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. Nice job everyone!
We stayed here because my husband booked it, sight unseen. HUGE mistake! No hot tub, cold pool, lots of chlorine. Floors in hotel have ramps that give. My knee didn't like that. At all! The elevator is off the lobby so it's a long walk to the room. Dark carpeting. Dark room. Beds slept well. Breakfast is unbelievable. Luckily McDonald's is just down the street. Couldn't drink the coffee at hotel. There was a refrigerator in the room but no microwave.
A nice Best Western has clean rooms, a lovely pool, and a convenient location to both the Fashion Outlet Mall (about 5 minutes) and The Falls (about 15 minutes). Breakfast is the usual toast, waffles, hard sausage, strange eggs, and cereal. Other than the breakfast, it was a nice 2 day stay.
Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Clean room, amenities and pool. Decent breakfast to start the day. On site ample parking. The location was good for the use of public transportation to falls etc. Parking at the Falls can be expensive.
Nice place! Indoor pool and gym, breakfast everyday from 7am (BYO milk if you need a diary alternative but there is a 7/11 walking distance). I took a 12 minute Uber to Niagara Falls which was super easy. Internet was good. There's nothing else around other than hotels in this area. I would stay here again!
Facility is top notch. Staff is more than helpful, friendly, and informative. We will highly recommend this facility to our friends and family. The breakfast was well planned and laid out. Just the start needed for a busy day of travel.
Service is always great I never have any problems when I stay at this location I definitely recommend it to others from the front desk staff to the housekeepers to maintenance 2 overall staff is great will definitely stay there again and working with others
It's fairly new place with lots of amenities like swimming pool, fitness center, free breakfast with lots of choices, close to shopping area and highway, staff were friendly and provide excellent service.
I've only been in probably 4 or 5 BW hotels, but this one was best by far. clean room with all necessary accessories, good breakfast with plenty of room, good shopping possibilities close to hotel, good parking, unfortunately we didn't have time to check out the pool and gym, but should I ever return to Niagara, I won't hesitate to book this hotel again.
Always great service. Staff at desk are always very helpful with anything you need or require. Very large breakfast area & good hours with lots of choices of breakfast food - hot & cold. Clean & quiet.
Great location on Niagra Falls Blvd, about 6miles to the falls & loads of free parking. But it was outdated & could do with a re-furb, to be honest. Room was clean & served it's purpose. Free breakfast was a bonus, with juice, yogurt, coffee, cereals, hot items, bread/bagels, make your own waffels(yummy), pastries & fresh fruit.....but the only down-side was paper plates & plastic cutlery!
Room was so dusty!!!! Hacked and sneezed all night.. checked in went sight seeing came back to our room late. Took a shower didn't notice how bad it was until we already laid down was around 1130pm. We figured it was too late to do anything about it at that point in the morning we went downstairs spoke to the manager she looked at me and said why you didn't say anything about it yesterday I said that's because we checked in and we left and didn't come back till very late so thought that I would just bring it up to you upon checkout she had a terribly snooty attitude I then asked if I can speak to the bigger manager then she and her reply was what's the problem I'm giving you a discount the problem was too disgusting dust that I had to inhale all night and she said to me it will the room was just cleaning this morning as you can see by the inches of dust on that lamp that room has not been dusted down and quite a long time will never stay again or recommend to anyone
From start to finish an excellent hotel. Great breakfast, modern and immaculate room. Very professional staff. The price was way below what I would expect to pay for this great hotel. I would recommend it to any coming to Niagara Falls
Perfect location to stay where you decide to visit Niagara Falls. Just 5 miles from the spot. You can arrange your booking easily through using hotel internet address. The hospitality and room service is excellent.
We recently stayed at this establishment for one night & it is better than when we last stayed years ago. Considerable upgrades to property but still has the old fashioned rooms. The complimentary breakfast was not satisfactory as the eggs were very much like rubber & the flat sausages were so hard they were difficult to cut with a knife. The breakfast room has been upgraded for the better. The people @ the front desk were efficient & friendly. In a pinch, we would probably stay here again but not too often.
Stayed at The Summit Best Western in Niagara Falls. This is was our 3rd time staying here. Great time every time. Breakfast is hot and plentiful. The breakfast ladies are outstanding. The Summit's indoor pool is larger than most hotels and we can enjoy even when the snow is flying. We love it. We can't wait to visit again.
We love best western as a whole we r elite members! But this hote is far from company standard we have ever experienced! The pool odvioisly was having issue with mold as they had huge vents threw out the pool area . The smell was horrendous, my kids where gaging and couldn't even stay in there long enough to hit the pool both are younger children and they LOVE to swim nothing keeps them away that was the main reasons we booked this hotel . They were upset the whole trip and mad as well that they didn't “clean the garbage smell” as they called it . The worst part was I let the front counter know ( had to walk down as the phone in our room didn't work) she did NOTHING. She seemed to already be away and gave me the line a manager would be contacted and the pool cleaned ??! The pool didn't need cleaning the building itself was the issue u could see the roof totally destroyed and they had wood decks all taped off as if that may have been a source of the problem from water leaking into the build and on the wood to rot or something. But definitely a structural issue not a POOL issue . She also stated the manager would contact me. Which never happened. Next day as we were leaving I then adviced the new guy at the counter and he looked surprised and said well the manger doesn't come in till later today and she would have never informed me of this and that he would pass the msg to manager and they would contact me. Here we are 2 days post hotel experience and nothing !! I have never experienced anything like this with best western and would like to advice anyone that is looking to use the pool to be prepared !
Phoned ahead asking for downstairs room for my handicapped walking dad. Placed us in the furtherest room. Mixed up our reservation. Wanted to overcharge quoted rate. Blamed everything on nw booking computer program. No mention of gift bag or extra points or even upgrade for being members. Very noisy with many people in hotel. Nice room. Average best western breakfast. All our concerns were at checkin
Stayed here before flying out to Florida. Clean and comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast included. Close to nice dining. Unfortunately I did not know I could leave my car here for the week for free.
We always stay at this hotel when visiting this area. Rates are reasonable and the indoor pool is clean and warm. They also provide a decent free breakfast. Close to the fashion outlets for shopping and there are many restaurants close by as well as delivery for the best pizza ever... Buzzys
We opted to stay overnight crossing from the border to save time plus for one nights stay you can get to park your car for the duration of your trip at Niagara Falls airport. Since there is no reserved parking there you may as well do this as it is cheap but nicer looking than other ones in area and lots of restaurants around. Plus the continental breakfast included is really good!
I have never stayed in the area before, it always seemed to far from where I wanted to shop, but they had a great pricing offer so I thought I would give it a try. Well for the price of one nights stay at a Best Western in Cheektowaga, we stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The place is clean, the front desk was nice, accommodating and helpful. We will stay there again, as my husband put it, we have a vehicle so no big deal with travel.
great stay rooms are large pool was nice staff were great.free breakfast was good great location our stay was two nights and we have been to other motels but this one every body from the cleaning staff to front desk were great
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Close to airport. Park n Fly feature seals the deal. Good value. We have stayed here five times and each has been a very good experience.
This is a great choice for any Canadian wanting to do a park & fly. We've used this hotel several times. Nothing exceptional about it but it's clean and convenient. We enjoy the restaurants and shopping nearby as well.
Came back to the recently renovated Best Western Summit Inn. I found it clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the outlet mall, with plenty of dining options nearby (5 minute drive). Pool was clean, with the water and room warm enough even in the -20 cold snap. Staff was unfailingly polite and friendly Breakfast was more substantial than the usual continental - with hot food and yoghurt available, along with typical continental offerings. The beds were comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and the room came with a fridge. The only negative: if you have one of the adjoining rooms, the sound from the next room really travels - we had a screaming baby next door and didn't get a whole lot of sleep the second night. Still, not a huge problem in the grand scheme of things.
Stayed there in Feb, Room heat was off when we checked in.. Took several hours befor room got warm, pool was nice breakfast was good but halls and room was cold.. employees were very nice. No towels in pool area had to go to front desk to get towels and no hot tub.
Stayed for one night, the beds were good. Had a really good breakfast which was free. The staff was nice checking in and out.Had heater inside room which was good.Got a good rate booking online through Best Western website.
spent the night recently at the Best Western Summit Inn with three other family members.it was easy to find, and even though we didn't use the pool, it sure looked inviting.our room was VERY clean, nicely decorated, and VERY comfortable. breakfast had a VERY nice array of tasty foods to choose from--everything from eggs, sausage, homefries, that big waffle and plenty more. VERY yummy!I hope that we get to go back for another stay.
The room was fine and the staff was friendly. We spent most of the time at the Falls and not around the hotel, but it was a pleasant stay. I've stayed at many Best Westerns in the past and if you're a fan of an affordable place to stay, this is the one!
Had a good stay great customer service my only complaint is I really didn't like the beds they made my back hurt they were to firm. Best advice for any hotel is when you have a room with 2 beds is put 1 firm bed and one soft bed in it so they have the choice or give them the choice when booking Don't make them all the same
The room was fine, the pool was nice, but we asked for a late checkout and they told us they could only extend for 30 minutes, after that we'd be charged for half a day. That might be understandable if the hotel wasn't almost completely empty. Also, our room was never turned over once we checked in. We only had the do-not disturb on the door for the first night. Basically if you miss that knock at 11:30am, that's it for the day. Nothing unforgivable but measure your expectations with this place.
Friendly Staff @ check-in. Friendly hotel employees. Will definitely stay again. They need more selections for their breakfast but everything else was good. Exceptional clean rooms!!! Hotel is in a good location. just needs more lighting in the room.
Best Western Summit Inn - Niagara Falls USA is a welcoming and very clean hotel. This is the only place we stay when we are in Niagara Falls. The staff is fantastic and always courteous and willing to assist with any of our requests.
Comfortable, clean, affordable, just what I expect from BW. When ever we travel we look for BW's because of consistancy in quality. The only thing BW could improve on would be consistency in pricing which can vary greatly.
It was my granddaughters birthday so we selected this hotel because of the indoor pool. The rooms were very nice, the staff very accommodating and the complimentary breakfast was good although more choices would of been nice. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank you
It was a good place to stay, the people are very sweet. Highly recommend especially since it's only like 15 minutes if you take a cab to the falls. Plenty of food nearby and things to Keep you busy. They had the pool, the free breakfast, and were clean.
We stay at this hotel most times when we stay in this area. It has always performed to our expectations. Check in was fast. Check out was fast. Breakfast was a little bit on the carb side but still has enough choices.
We stay here every time we come to the Niagara/Buffalo area and we have watched the continuous remodeling and other repairs/improvements over the past few years. The venue just keeps getting better. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are pleasant and very clean. We also enjoy the pool. Breakfast is generally good although the selection is a bit limited.
Recently stayed at the Summit Inn Best Western for a shopping excursion with the hubby. Very nice hotel - clean and well looked after. The hotel is close to all the shopping areas so we were able to come and go as needed (in case we needed a break!). We enjoyed the breakfast "free"!! and will be back again in the Spring for another round of shopping.
I experienced some things that made my stay a little sour but I will come back because I like the location and the room and prices aren't terrible. One bad stay does not make a bad hotel. The hotel needs to work on friendliness and organization
This hotel is on the edge of town, but it is a great place to stay if you are exploring the area. The room was a normal size and had a fridge, but no microwave. The hotel was quite big so some rooms will be quite a walk from the front desk. The breakfast area was huge and very well managed. The food choices were fantastic. We did not have a chance to take advantage of the pool, but it looked clean and well looked after. If you don't want to drive to the falls from here, there is a bus right outside the hotel that you can take downtown. We elected to drive and park on Goat Island. It is about 15-20minutes from the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful in there suggestions of what to do and where to eat.
this location isn't the best for seeing Niagara Falls. Older hotel and a little difficult to get around in the hotel. The bed wasn't all that comfortable. The rooms were also located around a indoor pool, which became very noisy when people were in there swimming.
Nice motel. Easy to get to. Great breakfast selection. Away from major traffic centers in the area. Room had king size bed, desk, couch, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker. Separate lavatory sink from bathtub and toilet.
My mom and sister and I stayed here for our annual mother/daughter shopping trip and it was ideal! The room was huge with 3 beds so we were all comfortable and no one was tripping over each other or luggage/packages. We will definitely stay here again.
Fabulous accommodation! A little bit of everything for everyone!Very reasonable!Perfect for everything we wanted! Location was great! Breakfast was great. Dining room was spacious. Next time we will make time for the pool!
it is a good hotel they need to make it no kids allowed and less noise and more tv channels and more breakfast choice and they need to fill up the milk and my mom went and told they guy there was no milk and he left
Great clean room, and the usual amenity's. Staff was great as well and the breakfast was good. My wife and I were looking forward to using the gym as that is one of the things we consider when booking a hotel. When we first checked in we look quickly to see two tread mills two elliptical's and stationary bikes as well as hydraulic resistance machines, this is a step up from most places so we were excited to try them out. Well come to find out the two treadmills did not work, the cycles were vandalized and the labels were pulled off. The buttons on the equipment were mashed and collapsed so basically the equipment was not usable. Well at least we can use the hydraulic machines. Sadly the bushings were worn on the hydraulic shocks, some of the seats were cracked and would pinch when trying to use the equipment. My wife made mention of this when checking out and they seemed surprised,, I guess not many people use there facility? The pool looked nice but we did not use it.
This hotel was very clean the staff always had a smile when every you spoke to them. They were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was fresh and the staff always ensured the trays were full and the counters kept clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed here during our trip to Niagara Falls. The price was significantly cheaper than other hotels closer to the falls. The rooms were very clean and included breakfast was always hot and tasty. Kids loved the indoor pool and onsite arcade games. The staff were all very pleasant and professional. Will definitely stay again.
Really enjoying our stay. Cleaning service is polite and on top of things. (Reminder to tip those staff because they earn it!) Our check-in guy was efficient and knowledgeable. Thanks for saving us a lot of money by giving us free Metro trolley passes! Our room was clean so was the pool. Loved the little arcade zone and options for parking and entry. Continental breakfast and eating area were really nice and expansive. Also, 24 hour laundry! Our only complaints were the pool not being heated (oh well, at least it worked, right?), the plug outlets in our room being loose and our tub not having a stopper. Other than that, golden! Best hotel Wi-Fi speed I've ever been lucky to have!
Our stay here was very enjoyable. Our room was very clean and pretty. The motel gives their guest a free day pass to take the trolley, which took us right to Niagara State Park, where the Niagara Falls is located. The breakfast was very delicious.
Best Western provided me the best service one could have. Great and supportive staff, and clean rooms in an excellent hotel overall! I would strongly recommend everyone to try Best Western Summit Inn, Niagara Falls, New York.
Niagara Falls has been on my wife's list to see for many years and this was the year we finally did it! We wanted to keep this trip to a reasonable cost, so we chose a hotel on the U.S. side just a few minutes from the Falls and we are glad we did! This was a clean, comfortable hotel of moderate cost with a very friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to one front desk staffer, Samantha, who was very helpful in relocating our room closer to the elevator. (my wife has some mobility issues). The breakfast was good, What we thought at first were what we call "egg patties" (if you've had them, you know what I am talking about) were really eggs and tasted like eggs as well. Reasonable cost restaurants were located close to the hotel along Route 62 and there was even a nearby Wegmans, The drive to the Falls was only a few minutes and we got to know it quite easily. We would most likely choose this hotel again for a return visit.
I planned this needed getaway for my husband and I for the weekend. I read the reviews before selecting the place to stay our first time in Niagara Falls. I wanted it to be perfect. And. It was ??. Quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great with so many selections. The staff was polite and helpful. I didn't use the pool but the kids in the hotel looked like they were having fun And that was nice to see. Location was close to everything which was great too because I'm a nervous driver in unfamiliar areas. We had fun and got some much needed rest.
Was there only a weekend. People were friendly and helpful. Pretty centrally located between attractions and restaurants. Definitely would make Best Western my choice next time in the area, as well as recommend to friends.
We enjoyed our night here. Room and hotel were clean; everything went smoothly. Our 4 year old loved the pool. We enjoyed breakfast. Our only minor complaints were that not all of the outlets in our room worked and the pool towels were small and rough.
No real complaints with the room, stayed for four nights and with 4 people in the room there was definitely enough room, maybe add a small couch for sitting, like in the rooms with the King size bed. The front desk was extremely helpful and the Housekeeping Staff was amazing. My daughter loved that they folded her sleep wear and arranged her stuffed animals and pillows on the bed. The indoor pool was a little chilly but relaxing, only issue with the pool is that the towels that are provided are very small, should give the same size as the bath towels.. The breakfast was adequate, the furniture needs to be updated. Would stay here again...
This is a nice hotel. They have a nice indoor pool and a really good continental breakfast. There was a line at the waffle maker, so I skipped over that. The sausage, home fries, and eggs were good. The kids enjoyed the muffins also. The kids also enjoyed the arcade games right outside the pool area. Our room was super clean and the staff was helpful. We would definitely stay again.
We only stayed at Best Western's on our road trip due to the AAA discount. This was the saddest Best Western we stayed at during the trip. The staff was not that friendly and the hotel needs some serious dusting and remodeling. The bathroom door was ridiculous and dirty.
Have stayed here several times because of the location and the indoor pool. Was disappointed this time. Had hoped several upgrades would have taken place with the remodeling. Pluses are the indoor pool, free breakfast, and friendly staff. But the lampshades in the room were dirty and stained and I was disappointed there were no scrambled eggs. The eggs that were served were awful. Best Western needs to pay attention to these details.
Place is old but was clean and pleasant. Staff very good and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was good and had an excellent selection. Could use more handicapped parking spaces. We did not eat dinner there so unable to rate meal.
The pictures of hotel do not match what room actually looks like! Room was very small. Said there was a bathtub/shower. There was no bathtub just a shower. Staff at front desk when checked in was rude. The breakfast in morning was good.
I have stayed in this Best Western Hotel due to the great location near where I wanted to go to visit with friends and family. Everything was perfect. The only thing I could have used during this week was a little more counter space around the sink for doing hair and make. Also, a place for a box of Kleenex.
first of all, the staff was incredible. very helpful, friendly, and seemed to enjoy their job. Indoor pool was great. water was good temperature. great way to relax at the end of the day. price was reasonable (less than 300 for 2 nights). breakfast was more than just waffles, although the waffles were the best. laundry on site which came in handy both nights. About a 10-15 minute drive from the falls. Wi-Fi was instant and hassle free. Would I stay here again? In a New York minute.
This was a good place to stay while sight seeing in the area. Rates were reasonable for location & time of year. Check your AC controls to make sure they work, we had trouble with ours in rm#224. Breakfast was typical waffles, eggs, sausage, home fries, Danish, cereal. Staff was very pleasant.
I just finished my trip to Niagara Falls and stayed at the Best Western summit inn. The hotel was nice, alittle outdated though. The problem I had was with the continental breakfast. On the 2nd day of my stay, two pieces of rye bread fell on the floor. The employee pick it up off the floor and said 2 second rule and put it in the toaster. Totally unprofessional!! On the 3rd day I find out I've been eating turkey sausage and I hate turkey! Other than that, the stay was ok & I would recommend it to others!
The room was comfortable, but a lot of noise all night. For over 200 for one night with tax I would expect less noise. Breakfast was good, they do need to add sugar free syrup for the waffles. The staff were all very friendly and professional.
This hotel is kind of dull on a drab commercial highway. However, it's clean and conveniently located between many western NY and Ontario destinations. Most importantly it was safe and quiet with relatively up-to-date guest rooms. The lobby and front desk need to remodel, though.
Stayed there while visiting the Niagara Falls. It was a pleasant stay... nice, newly renovated rooms and hotel's facilities. There is an indoor pool (you can ask for towels at the front desk) and small arcades for children. The breakfast is complementary to your stay and it is tasty... Definitely I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning the trip to Niagara Falls area (about 6 miles away from the falls).
The hotel is great for the value, really close to the falls, has a pool and mini arcade area for the kids. The rooms are clean. The bathroom was newer remodeled. Breakfast room was large and had lots of options
Stayed in room 144. It was a LONG walk back there, even when parking on the side entrance. Hallway was a little dark. Entered the room, checked it out and turned on the AC. It never seemed to get too cool but luckily, it was adequate. After unloading the car, took my shoes off, only to find out the floor was wet in several areas (not something the staff would have noticed because I'm sure they don't walk around barefooted). can you say potential mold issues ??. then I noticed 2 toothbrushes on top of the sink mirror... Really?, Lots of dust everywhere, water bottle on the floor under the bed skirt, the hand bar screw plate in the bathtub wouldn't stay causing potential cut/scrape issues. Took several flushes to empty the toilet. I did not report any of these issue because we were only staying the one night. Expecting to be asked when I checked out if there were any problems, I would have mentioned them... but I was not asked. Checkout was very mater of fact... here's your receipt...
As a couple we stayed July 16/18 to July 18/18 to shop at the Fashion Outlet Mall on Military Rd. only a 5 minute drive away. Ollie's Outlet is on the corner as you turn on to Military Rd. & a Walmart Supercenter is on the left just before the Outlet Mall. The hall from reception is very long and it just happened our room was 2 from the end so we had a long walk to breakfast both mornings. There was an entrance half way where we could park our car and it was very quiet back there and we felt it was safe. The breakfast was excellent...hot eggs, sausage, potatoes and then everything else you usually get. The bad points were the hall carpet was very, very stained and the seats of the chairs in the breakfast room were the same. I switched my chairs both mornings trying to find a cleaner looking one. Our room was small with 2 double beds but clean and the bathroom door was in front of the toilet so it was awkward to sit down but it was clean and there were plenty of nice white towels and the water was hot. The wifi worked fine and our large screen TV was great. We wouldn't stay here again because of the filthy hall carpets and especially the dining room seats. It's unfortunate because it's so convenient to shopping, breakfast is excellent and it's quiet. It's expensive for what you got in the cleanliness dept..
We stayed here a week and have 0 complaints. It is far enough away from downtown that you don't pay downtown prices, but close enough to get everywhere you need. The rooms were really nice, only complaint is that the lighting is very dim when you walk into room. Only has light right above bathroom, but nothing by full length mirror. Wish we had a microwave too. Housekeeping did a great job with our requests of extra towels. Beautiful pool area, game area and large breakfast room. Also has onsite washer and dryer. If full you can find a 24 hr laundry across street. Most of front desk was nice. We had a great experience with one worker who answered a question I had about people who leave their laundry in washer for hours. Loved her. If we go back to The Falls sometime, this is where we will stay again.
Far exceeded my expectations. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Great location for Niagara Falls activities. I found the hotel on Expedia and got a great deal thinking that it would just be a place to lay our heads. But the hotel and the room were very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay in another Best Western.
This BW is pretty basic (yes it is not a Plus). Our family stayed here just this month and the overall I would say is average. The first evening we got in the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, when we got to our room we noticed that there was water running from somewhere in the mini-fridge onto the carpet. We notified front desk and in no time a 'maintenance guy' (not sure what his job was) came to our room to 'fix' this problem by placing a towel at the bottom of the fridge (lol I could have done this myself). He reassured us that someone would come tomorrow to take a look ....I am still waiting on that person. In any case, the fridge worked and it was not my carpet! We were on the first level and close to the back entrance - very convenient if you have kids as it is easy access to the room, pool and outdoors. The pool is a salt water pool - which was kind of cool. The other guests were friendly and pool towels were readily available. Breakfast was typical BW standard. The only thing that really blew me away was the cleaning of the breakfast room. The breakfast lady literally used the SAME cloth to clean the counter, the floor (she was brushing away some bits of cereal that had fallen to the ground with this same cloth). This cloth was then used to continue to clean the top of the counter and the INSIDE of the cereal dispenser (throws up in mouth and thanks God for a well functioning immune system). I was too shocked to mention anything to her....my mouth literally hit the floor. We can do better than this BW...please do better. On a good note, Ponderosa breakfast is nearby in case you need an alternative buffet breakfast. Overall, basic hotel - higher price than it should be. We paid USD$158 for one night and used points for the next night. Next time I would spend the extra cash and travel the distance to stay at the BW Plus. Hopefully that is much better.
We checked in Thursday July 12 after a very long drive from Illinois and the staff was very friendly. Our rooms were very nice, bathroom was clean, sheets were clean, the pool area was nice too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the hotel. I wish the hotel I stayed at in New York was as good as this one.
Lovely hotel with an amazing breakfast. I spent the night here as I could not pick up my rental car until 4:30 in the afternoon. I would have liked a later check out, but they could only offer me an extra 30 minutes. I spent the day in the lobby and in the breakfast area, where the manager allowed me to go. I wish the pool had been outside, then I would have spent my time there. Overall, I would stay here again!
The hotel was nice, pretty clean and everything looked to be working alright. It is a walking distance from the falls (like 15-20 min). It is close to some restaurants and the casino/mall thingy they had. It is also 10-15 min away by a gas station (by foot). They acknowledged my membership which was nice. The only thing I did not like about the place was that they charge you for toiletries? My dad forgot his shaving cream and razor so I went downstairs to ask for some and it turned out that you need to pay. Weird, I am used to having those for free in other Best Westerns. Anyways, we enjoyed our stay.
Conveniently located on one of the main access roads, this property is a low rise one. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Decent parking available. The indoor pool does not seem to have a shower area! Also please carry your own towels from the rooms since they are not easy to find near the pool - apparently owing to pilferage issue! Breakfast comprised of a buffet with eggs, waffle station (yes - fresh can be made), muffins, juices, coffee and cereals. Decent sleep and go unit. Very responsive housekeepers and the lady at the front office - kudos!
We stay here at least once or twice a year and find the hotel consistently very good. Over the past several years we have gone through a series of renovations with them, each one making good improvements. This time we were very happy to see the renovation of the front and breakfast room area almost completed. It was wonderful not having to dodge roof leaks! The room are very nicely decorated and well furnished. Ours had 2 double beds, a desk, cabinet with fridge & storage, and a very spacious bathroom area. My only complaint, being a "big" guy, was the small-size toilet.
We booked this place as a last minute stay and were surprised by the hotel condition and amenities. Phone support was excellent in finding the best rate. It is either recently renovated or fairly new and in good condition. Great breakfast (warm) and we experienced no issues other than the actual booking process. When we first started looking for a room at this location, it was listed for $110 on Booking.com. However, after an hour, it went up to $180 and this price fluctuated among several different online booking sites such as Kayak. We ultimately called and asked for a government rate because I am military and paid about $150 before taxes/fees (approximately $180 total). So, we were very troubled by the price fluctuations in such a short period of time and from one site to the next. Other than that, a great stay!
The drive to the falls is not bad it is close by. They have a great breakfast that comes with the stay, the workers worked continuously to refresh the food. Rooms were clean and well updated. outside of the room wasn't as well kept as the rooms. the workers were helpful. There was a indoor pool many people were having fun in it. Also one thing we learned 3 days into the stay is that they will not make the beds if personal items are on or around the bed. This was frustrating at first but it shows that they keep away from your things so i guess that could be peace of mind. At the least you know they have rules in place to guide their workers for you safety and your items safety.
We stayed at this hotel the 2nd week of June for our Niagara Falls trip which might be an off peak time because our room rate was much lower than it is later in the summer. Using GPS, the hotel is about 15 minutes away from the falls and we left each morning by 7:15 to beat the “rush”. The drive was quick and painless. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast during the entire stay. The sign says that breakfast starts at a 7:00 am but we usually ate at 6:45-6:50 to get a head start. Our king bedroom was clean and well maintained by the housekeeping staff each day. The only minor issue we had with the room was the somewhat low pressure from the shower head but it wasn't a big deal. There are several restaurants and stores within a 15 minute radius. The staff was friendly and we felt comfortable parking our rental car in front of the building each evening. The hotel is being updated but it didn't impact our stay. We didn't take advantage of the indoor pool but it looked well maintained. If we ever decide to visit Niagara Falls again, we will definitely stay at this hotel especially in early June before the peak tourist season.
We stayed here during our visit to Niagara Falls. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. There is a good Mexican Restaurant a short walk away. It is very close to a mixture of shops and the Fashion Mall. It was a quick drive to the Falls so very well positioned.
We stayed here while we visited Niagara Falls, only about a 8 min drive to the falls, lots of food and shopping nearby, even an outlet mall. Rooms were clean and updated, comfortable pool area was really nice. Even had a self serve laundry so you can wash and dry wet things from the falls.
Stayed here as it was 50 bucks cheaper than others. Room and entire hotel is remodeled. Pool area was heated and very well kept. Breakfast was good and only 7 minutes or so from the falls. 2 queen beds fit my family of 4 perfectly. Outlet mall and Interstate are very close. Bowling alley next Store has a nice set up and bar. We will stay again if In the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great place to stay and get away from the turmoil around the Falls. Easy access to get to all attractions in a relatively short time. They are currently doing some remodeling but it does not impact your stay. The only dissatisfaction I had was with the elevator location. The elevator is located near the lobby and if you have a room at the far end of the hotel it is a bit of a walk when you get off of the elevator. Not much you can do about this except deal with the walk.
Stayed with family on our trip to Niagara, very close to Airport and well connected with roads. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The food spread was OK. Prefer rooms located in third floor. value for money.
They offer a great hot breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, I slept very comfortably which I normally do not when I am away from home. My grandchildren enjoyed the indoor pool which was clean and pleasant.
We took our grand-daughter's to Niagara Falls for their Christmas present. The hotel was easy clean and easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and the hours of availability were more than adequate. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The outside looks unappealing, but the room we got had been recently renovated and was one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was very good. The same thing every day but several choices. Fried egg, potatoes, sausage patty, bread, bagels, mini pastries and muffins, Waffles, oranges, apples, Bananas, instant oatmeal, cold cereal, orange or apple juice, and the coffee and tea is available at all times. Indoor pool. Location bit in the downtown area which we preferred. Good neighborhood. The front desk people were always pleasant and very helpful. I would stay here again. Two negatives. Nowhere in bathroom to hang or place things and hangers are too close to floor for normal length tops.
I would stay at this hotel any time. Rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly. Every question I had was answered. I can just recommend this hotel to every person who need to stay in a hotel.
We did not stay at the hotel. Reached hotel, did not find it upto the standards of world wide Best Western chain and reputation. No tubs in bathroom, view from the room is too commercial, too much traffic scene, under rennovation now. Booked from Booking.com for $333 a night, almost NY Manhattan rates. Now fighting for refunds. Never book with booking.com, they have a very incompetent customer service
We were looking for a place near Niagara Falls that was inexpensive. We have a large family so we had to rent two rooms. The price was very reasonable for two rooms, and they even accommodated our request for adjoining rooms! The staff was very friendly, and the front desk attendant gave us some great tips on seeing the falls! Our rooms were very clean, the breakfast was good, and the pool was very clean as well. We would definitely stay there again!!
My family of 5 adults stayed in 2 rooms at the Best Western Summit Inn. We primarily choose this hotel because I lived in Niagara Falls growing up and I knew it was clean and in a safe neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by what we got. Rooms 110 and 112 were clean quiet and updated. Samantha at checkin and checkout was efficient and friendly despite being quite busy. The staff at breakfast were fantastic cleaning up through out my morning meal. When I commented on the fact that I was impressed she replied, “you are why we're here. You're the reason we have jobs.” Clearly everyone at the hotel feels the same way. You can see the care they each put into making your stay special.
Stayed at the Best Western Summit Inn so that I could fly out early from Niagara Falls NY. The hotel is in really good condition. The room was updated and clean. At breakfast they had poached eggs and not the instant ones. I can't say anything bad about my stay. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Location is acceptable, in a "Hotel row" but looking a bit tired now. The hotel seems to be undergoing a refurb. What was most surprising was the breakfast. Pre-cooked apart from the waffle maker and very limited fresh fruit and produce. Eggs (sort of fried) and Sausage patties, and diced potatoes. No evening meal at the hotel, in fact, doesn't seem to have a kitchen, a first for a Best Western for me
We have stayed in this hotel 3 times. Always seems to be under renovation or construction. They also do not seem to care about the reservation request that we made months in advance with regards to the type pf room we wanted and messed it up 3 times now and refuse to help in any way to change that. We will not be back there are plenty of Hotels in this area to take advantage of for your shopping requirements.
Excellent service and the rooms were completely renovated and the entire interior was new and update, including the furniture. The establishment was absolutely spotless even with the renovations going on!
When you check out make sure you don't gets doubled charged. They take your money and maybe in a week you may get your money back. If you don;t check you may end up paying to much. Everything was good just don't like to pay twice for the same days. It's not your money so stop taking extra.
A very nice Hotel just a short distance from the Canada/U.S. border. Close to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. Good Breakfast. Excellent Mattresses and bed linens. We stay here often for a weekend get-away.
The staff was excellent but the keys didn't work had to go back out to get back in . Then finally settled in the tv blacks out and staff said it's a problem that always happens . Staff fixed it then go to have a bath and you need to get a cover for the drain before you can use it . Staff comes again I guess they can't trust people stealing a $,25 cent rubber cover. I will go to another hotel next time . Oh yeah the tub was cracked too !
The Summit Inn has been our go to place in Niagara Falls for almost 30 years. We enjoy it's close proximity to the shopping on Military Road and the easy drive to Amherst. The staff have always been great! From helping me with a car repair one year to this year, the manager, came in on his own time to resolve an issue with our digital box for the TV. The rooms are always comfortable and although we didn't use it this time the pool is our favourite of all the hotels we have stayed. Great family place to stay.
This is about my 4th time staying here and I am very impressed with the renovations. Rooms are great. Front desk staff are great. Breakfast is ok. Pool area was too cold...Pool is warm but air is cold. Will stay again due to the great rates.
If you are flying out of the Niagara Falls, NY airport, then this hotel is only a few minutes down the road. It is also only 5-10 minutes from the outlet shopping area. Check-in was good, staff was quite friendly. Room was a good size, and clean, but the HVAC unit didn't seem to put out a lot of heat and kept cutting in and out all night, resulting in a poor sleep. There was only one blanket on the bed, so we were cold all night. There is a free breakfast buffet which is adequate, but if you are looking for a good breakfast, you might want to try finding something else.
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. Turned out to be a good choice. Quiet, clean, good breakfast. Great little Mexican restaurant just down the street. Close to shopping. All good.
In Niagara Falls for a week and opted to stay at this Best Western in process of renovation. Great updates in process and the rooms/amenities are nice. Breakfast is an upgrade from the standard motel fare, with a very attentive breakfast staff. Pool is fabulous, exercise room is spacious. Desk/support staff can be a little rough around the edges likely due to the neighborhood and local clientele. The feature that is the deal breaker for me is the constant pounding that goes on about 22 hours a day. Not due to renovation activity as none was occurring during our multiple day stay. It sounds like our room was located under a gymnasium with Olympic weight lifters in training. Not sure if the sound was just the result of the nearly constant door slamming by other patrons. Doors can be modified so idiots are unable to slam them at all hours. My advice; make the modifications as I won't be staying here again despite how wonderful the place and staff are. Not getting any sleep due to constant pounding is more impactful than a fabulous place where I am not permitted to get any sleep.
We have stayed several times but won't be returning. Rooms and parking are reasonable and decent, however, after checking out I realized I had forgotten my new phone cord and charger in my room. After calling twice and being told by the same person that he would check on it, he never called me back. I told him to make sure everyone knew that I would be returning for it on the 31st. Upon arrival on the 31st the desk clerk was unpleasant, disrespectful and defensive about my lost article and told me rudely in no uncertain terms that it was not there. We are shocked by such unprofessional and rude behaviour by the desk clerk and very disappointed if the staff would stoop to such a level to just keep guests' lost items.
My parents and I stayed the night before seeing Niagara Falls in the morning. We arrived late in the evening & wasn't impressed by the exterior of the hotel. But don't let the outside appearance fool you because inside was a great clean hotel. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was squeaky clean. The employees were friendly and accommodating with fast check-in and out.
We always stay here for a night to catch a flight out of IAG - Niagara Falls NY Airport. The breakfast is always a great bonus in the morning, rooms are warm and clean. Conveniently located a $5 cab ride from the airport and the beds are very comfortable.
Visited a couple of times before, but hadn't visited for a few years. The pool offered me my daily swim. It's remains very clean, friendly and offers spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. So, we hope to be back, same time next year!
Plenty to do in the area, very close proximity to the airport, but not close enough to hear planes going overhead, and a short drive from the Canadian border. Lots of great nearby restaurants as well.
Advertise that they except cash upon arrival with credit card reservation and no deposit necessary but when you arrive, it was a huge ordeal. I personally would prefer to find another chain to deal with rather then have the aggravation and confusion
Our first time staying here the front desk staff were amazing check in went smooth. The room was very clean bed was comfortable. The free breakfast had a variety of food from eggs sausage yougart cereal to toast or begals. The pool was a good size and clean. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay
It's a good location very close to the Fashion Outlets, several plazas, Target, and <30 mins away from the border. My main purpose of the trip was just to shop, relax and have a mini getaway. It may not be the place to stay if the sole purpose of your trip is to see the Falls, as it's about 15-20 minutes way. Despite the outside appearance (which seemed to be under construction), the rooms, lobby, and other common areas are clean. It has the typical Best Western atmosphere to it. It may look a little dated but there's nothing wrong with that. The salt water pool was a comfortable temperature and easy to go into. Note that there are no change rooms. You can ask for towels at the front desk. Continental breakfast consisting of the typical cereal, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, sausage etc. are served alongside coffee, tea and juice. The breakfast room is always open so although they clear out the food, you still have access to the coffee, tea and juice at all times. My partner is a personal trainer so of course he went to use the gym. Apparently the equipment is a little outdated but I'm told that it'll be their next project! I didn't require room service / house keeping services so I can't comment on that. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. It's affordable and was in a good area. I would stay here again.
Have been staying here for over 30 years when in the area. I've watched it change over the years but am most delighted with the renos I've seen in the past few years. The addition of an elevator was most welcome. The rooms have been freshened up and are now quite stylish. Each unit now has a fridge (GREAT), and all the furniture and bedding is new. Even the heating/ac unit is new. Great indoor pool, large enough to do laps in. The big star of the show is their comp. breakfast. Hot, help yourself foods included: hot eggs, sausage patties, breakfast potatoes and waffles, along with other fare such as: yogurt, cereal, assortment of breads, danish and oatmeal. Drinks include: OJ, milk, coffee & tea & hot chocolate. I'd give this comp. cont. breakfast an A plus. The hotel was very empty when we were there (only 5 or 6 rooms occupied) so in the morning, we got a knock on the door asking if we were going to stay for another night (that has never happened before) and within seconds of this happening a call from the front desk "have you had your breakfast yet?" Very strange. Front desk and lobby need to be revamped. I think the "dumpy" look to it would set people off staying here. Would recommend this place, inexpensive and certainly worth it if for nothing other than the breakfast. Oh, they've changed the sign outside and are doing major renos to the exterior. Almost drove right past the place, so keep your eyes peeled.
A nice and relax stay for a shopping getaway trip. Location is close to an outlet mall, and also to the Boulavard Mall areas. A nice breakfast with hot foods and the usual breakfast items was included.
Hotel staff were all friendly and efficient. Room was very nice and very clean. Breakfast was nicely maintained each morning. Check in and out were quick and easy. Would recommend. Would like to come back when the construction is complete to the front of the building.
I always stay at BW Summit when in Niagara Falls. Close to lots of amenities always have clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice complimentry breakfast is a real bonus. Not to mention free coffee and tea 24hrs.
We just checked in yesterday for our 5th annual stay. WE stay every New Year's for about 5-6 nights. 2 years ago we eloped to Niagara and stayed here too. The front of the hotel right now is deceiving, it's under construction, but that's not really a big deal. I don't know why people are marking the hotel down for this....they are renovating, to make improvements....relax. The breakfast is the best it's been, eggs, sausages, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, toast bagels...I could go on, It's perfect to set you on your way, again, don't know what people are expecting or wanting, maybe steak and mimosas????? Breakfast is fine the way it is! The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Pool is awesome. This time when we checked in, we somehow ended up in an accessible room....I went to the front desk to find out why and if we could move, The person at the front desk there was nothing to move to with King Bed, until a few days later. Informed me I should have called to confirm (reserved in October) that we not get an accessible room. Find that kind of weird, but we will make the most of it I guess. Will miss the bathtub as it only has an accessible shower. Bed is super comfortable as well. Overall, we would't stay anywhere else when we come to Niagara. You get the best deal here and overall I couldn't recommend it more. If you are looking to have a specific King Bed room with a couch, like ht epics online, call to book (that's my only recommendation for reservations)
Booked a night here for my family...we flew out of niagara the next day, so really only have a first impression of this hotel. Only had one small issue, the front desk didn't have any indication that we needed the parking while we were away. Which is true, because when I made the reservation I didn't see anywhere to make that note. I went back to the front desk in the morning and spoke with someone else and got it all squared away. Other than that, the hotel was clean and well kept. Had all the necessities for a small breakfast...which tasted ok. We didn't use the salt water pool or the vintage arcade games, but they looked decent. I'd recommend this hotel for a multi night stay.
Well what started as an unpleasant experience turned out wonderful ! There was a chance I needed to go to Niagara Falls NY for a meeting so booked my favorite hotel the day before. No problem as I could always cancel by 4 pm on the next day right. Wrong, cancellation is now changed to the day before. Meeting cancelled at 4:30 went to cancel after 4 can't do it. Well rather than sulk I decided that since I was going to be charged I might as well make the trip and enjoy the pool. I am so glad I did. Hotel is undergoing some renovations but didn't look like a construction site. Greeted by the friendly front desk staff, as always, and headed to my room. What a room. Completely redone and beautifully decorated with high end furniture, comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Very Impressive. The pool was heated 82 degrees as always but now salt water. Very pleasant experience. The breakfast was always excellent and still is. In my opinion one of the best free spreads I have encountered in my travels. This was a very good hotel before now I consider it excellent. Well done Best Western Summit, or should I say well done Best Western PLUS, Summit Inn!! Because it sure is a plus now. As a further note every staff member I met were pleasant and helpful. The lady at the front desk, who I believe has been there for some time, offered me some advice for my ongoing vertigo which I plan to try in the New Year. Thanks!
Very friendly front desk staff. Wonderful experience in the room. breakfast had the staple items, fried eggs and patties were wonderful as were waffles. Pool is consumer friendly, with friendly hours, unlike other major brands on Rainbow Blvd. This is why we keep coming back
Hotel was clean, breakfast was good and the staff was friendly! Indoor pool was warm and clean. The hotel is very close to the airport and the outlet malls. 15 min from the galleria and blvd malls. Free parking when flying and the price is great! I would strongly recommend this hotel. We are staying again in 2 weeks and in February as well.
older interiror, workers not overly friendly, room was a good king room, couch was soiled? Under construction and parking was taken with construction things, a perfect area for christmas shopping. Staff need to be more professional our check in was like we were disturbing there meals
Room was very clean. Service was excellent. Internet worked perfect. Pool looked good, didn't have time to use it unfortunately. Beds were not as comfortable as other hotels we have stayed at previously. Breakfast was okay, bit bland. But for the price you cannot go wrong.
This hotel is the perfect place if wanting to shop the Factory outlets. Surrounded by many restaurants, gas stations and other stores. Provides a great breakfast to start the day in a room where you can easily find a seat! Currently, doing lots of renovations around the hotel. Rooms are clean and quiet. Internet was very good. Staff is very friendly. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.
I was in town for the funeral of my Nephew. This is my favorite place to stay when I come to the Falls. Located to stores and restaurants, some within walking distance. Staff responded to any concerns I had during my stay, I recommend them to all of my friends when they visit the Falls.
Spent 5 nights with Hubby & Great Niece visiting family. Easy to get to, everything you need in the area..food, gas shops. Breakfast was great !! and according to my Niece the POOL was AWESOME !! Was a little worried when i saw the outside but they are in the process of redoing it.My only complaint is they need a new Wash/Dryer. That might be in the works.
Breakfast area under renos but still served a great breakfast including three hot items (eggs/sausage/home fries), waffle irons, fruits, yogurt, hot and cold cereals. New furniture and lamps in the rooms. Bathrooms have been redone with new ceramic tiles. Pool was nice and clean and warm water.
This was the first time staying at this location. Found the checking was excellent, the rooms where great, very clean and well organized place. The breakfast was better than most and there was lots of room. Did not use the pool but the pool area was very nice and supper clean
Close to shopping and restaurants - nicely decorated rooms - good breakfast included in room price. Currently undergoing renovation to the exterior of the hotel but the rooms have been recently renovated. Friendly, helpful staff.
I knew the hotel was undergoing renovations. But I never expected what we saw when we pulled into the parking lot. Once we got over our initial shock at the appearance of the exterior of the hotel (my wife nearly cried- it looked like it had suffered a fire or major deterioration - I have never seen a Best Western in such a terrible, almost abandoned looking state) and the musty smell in the reception area, we were able to give our assigned room a more honest and balanced appraisal. In spite of our initial shock and dismay, we decided to stay. The room was a standard motel room- with comfortable beds, clean linens, towels, and well-maintained bathroom. It did not have a musty smell nor did we encounter noise from the renovations. The hotel was quiet. The pool was of a good size and well maintained. The water temperature was on the cool side but not cold. We did not use the exercise equipment. Breakfast was typical for Best Western – not fancy but certainly more than adequate with several hot items and a good choice of breads, fruits and yogurts. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are the heroes keeping this place going despite all the renovation. If you stay here, it's because of the staff, the reasonable rate and proximity to shopping. Just don't expect it to look like the pictures.
Very pleasant stay at this Best Western. It is close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone. Breakfast had a lot of options.
Very Clean, recently updated hotel. Rooms are modern. Great Breakfast. Hotel staff is very friendly. We will stay here again when we visit the area. Location is close to restaurants and tourist attractions.
they need new mattress and we had to listen to a heating system in the room it was noisy that was room 118. parking in the lot some people aren't parking in spots and are parking along side and it makes hard to get to get your car out.
1) Was offered a good rate based on registration as Best Western member. i did not get that rate on arrival. 2) Reserved 2 room through trip advisor; I got one room available and had to pay for the second on arrival
We stayed over night here it was nice and clean beds a bit uncomfortable..they have a nice swimming pool towels available .. Brekfast was great coffee juice cerale fruit bagels and waffles over all a good place
Last time we were in Niagara was 10 years ago. Last time we stayed on the Canadian side, so this time we stayed on the American side. My wife found a mug with a barrel on it. There were lots of other things we observed.
Stayed here for three nights. This is a good place to relax at night after a day of shopping. Room was clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast was satisfying. Even though they are updating the exterior, it did not interfere anything.
I booked our reservation online and chose this because of the price and the reviews. When we pulled up to the hotel, we became skeptical. We assumed they were remodeling the outside of the hotel but were not sure. (Not exactly located in best area of town.) When I went to check in, I asked the desk clerk (Javi) if the rooms were better than the outside looked. He basically ignored my question and refused to answer me. We went to check out the room and it was very clean and had been updated. The clerk then asked me if the room was okay. I told him yes but I would have appreciated him answering my question in the first place. He said he likes his rooms to speak for themselves. Told him probably wasn't the best way to handle a customer's questions. He then went on to tell me they were expanding the front of the hotel. That would have been nice to know when we first asked. Very satisfied with the room. Breakfast was the normal hotel hot breakfast.
We were not told it was under going remodeling. When we pulled up to check in it looked abandoned and didn't look like anything we wanted to go into for safety reasons. It had holes in the outside of the building, and the gutters were torn down. We were not advised ahead of time so it was a real shock. We still had to pay for the room cause we reserved it even though we weren't advised of the mess.
We were a little worried when we pulled up and saw the front of the hotel with a construction crew present. As it turned out, it was a great stay. The clerk was very friendly and outgoing, performing a quick but thorough check in. He even had time for a little small talk as he was moving things along. The room was clean and modern. Although not a Best Western Plus, it was a very nice Hotel. Breakfast was the standard fare, but stocked well. The construction was confined to the outside front of the Hotel so there was no disturbance in the room. In fact, upon departure, the construction crew stopped until we were clear and one of the crew even held the door open for us. I would recommend this hotel if in the area. Might not be the closest to the Falls, but you get your monies worth.
Stayed at the hotel to meet friends from Wisconsin and also reserved a room for them. The room was redone since the last time I was there and it was very nice. I did have a problem with the outlet being loose and would not hold my curling iron, but they fixed it as soon as I asked about it.
The night my boyfriend and I spent at the Best Western Summit Inn, located in Niagara Falls, NY, it was our first time ever visiting the state. We traveled from a small town in Maine to the most western area of New York just to go to a concert. While looking for a place to spend the night, I came across this particular Inn. Prices were reasonable, plus Internet, an indoor pool, and complimentary breakfast sold us. Our room was quaint and spelled like berries. The bed was comfy, the towels soft, and the location was convenient. My only complaint during my experience at Best Western Summit Inn was the lack of toilet paper in our room's restroom. Even though I forgot to request for more, it was still inconvenient, especially in the middle of the night. However, overall, my stay was beyond recommendable. My other half and I have recently discussed plans of a yearly visit to NY. Chances are, we will be staying here again.
A great stay at a reasonably priced hotel with good amentities. The hotel has recently been renovated inside and is presently being renovated outside as well. The pool was welcome after a day out and about. We had the pool to ourselves most of the time.
The rooms smelled of mildew, carpets were damp, zero value for the money. Embarrassed I had wife and kids with me! I will rethink BW based on my last two stays. Overbilled and crappy value. I was really let down by this property.
We had delays, cancelled flights on our way to Niagara Falls, so through no fault of ours, we didn't make it to the hotel on the night that we planned. However, I was in touch with them throughout the day and kept them up to date, until it was a sure thing that we were not going to make it there because the airline could not get us there until the next morning. They tried to get me to sign in over the phone because they said that I was going to be charged anyway, which I found to be ridiculous. Then, when we arrived, the desk clerk had absolutely no empathy at all for the fact that we had gotten stuck in BAL and had to get a hotel there and she was going to charge us for the previous night at her hotel even though it was beyond our control. To top it off, she gave us a room right next to the elevator and the stairs...people running up and down the stairs at all hours! Even the employees in the breakfast room were rude. Like we were in their way or something. Nasty people at this place...I would not ever return here! Do not recommend this place!
We spent 4 nights here in late Sept 2017. I found this hotel to be a nice place to stay. It was on a main street but not a real heavy traffic street so, you had easy access to area attractions without a lot of traffic until you got closer to downtown and the Falls.. Less than 3 minutes from a major outlet mall with plenty of food choices around. Just down the street towards town was a great little local bakery, over on Military Rd (I think it was) was a Mighty Taco, great tacos!!! Now for the hotel itself. We arrived at night and was kind of like "Oh no, what's this place? War zone?" Well I soon learned the canopy and facade were being renovated. Once inside, the lobby was decent, a little aged but, it was clean. Our room was nicer than I had expected it to be and the bed was very comfortable. Overall everywhere I went in the hotel it was clean. The breakfast area was well kept. The breakfast choices were fried eggs (no runny yolks all well done), waffles that you made yourself, sausage patties, fried potatoes, oatmeal, bagels, toast, cereal yogurts, a few items I might not remember and juice, coffee and milk. My best shinning star at this hotel was the front desk staff, especially Javi. They were all helpful but, Javi was the best by far, helping us with local information and suggestions of things to do and places to eat. He made our stay much more pleasant. We felt safe in the area. If we would return to this area, this would be the first place I would call to book a room.
The hotel was very nice. very clean and comfortable. The pool was so nice. My daughter and I loved it. And breakfast was the best I've seen at a hotel. Not crowded and a lot of selection. I would stay again!
Always fun going to Niagara Falls - took the Maid of the Mist - lots of fun. The hotel is fine - good, reliable and comfortable. I would stay there again without any hesitation. The location is convenient - easy to get to.
The hotel was clean and comfy. The staff always had smiles on their faces and were very friendly. The breakfast area was huge and breakfast was good, especially for us Canadians...healthier than most. We used the room for a team meeting and get together. Beds and pillows comfy. Only thing I didn't like about the room was the shower curtain. I wished the pole was a bent one so the curtain wouldn't come close to me in the shower. The outside of hotel needs work, landscaping, plants, and painting. It might still be under renovation on outside. Front lobby had only chairs. A couple couches and/or live seat would have been nice. Overall great place to stay.
Not as nice as a pricier place but clean and a goid place to stay for a fair price. The outside is under construction currently. The vanity area smelled musty but there was no mildew or mold. The lighting in the room was too dim for us.
I just returned from a visit to Niagara Falls, NY on a relaxing trip with a friend. This hotel is clean, fresh and friendly! The breakfast was good, the staff, (especially Maria and Deanna) were outstanding. Everything was clean and neat. I was apprehensive about staying at a Best Western, boy was I wrong! The only complaint was my walk to my room! 247, if you plan to do a lot of hiking and walking at the Falls, ask for a lower room number! Its a drive to the falls, about 15 minutes, but well worth the time.
We spent three nights this week at the Best Western Summit Inn in Niagara Falls, NY. We found it to be quite satisfactory. The "continental breakfast" included sausage patties, eggs and browned potatoes - every day. The large dining room is better than a crowded nook. The swimming pool is quite nice. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.
My husband and I are both over 65 so we appreciate the comforts of home. This Motel was convenient to the places we wanted to see, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of things. Very friendly staff and a room easy to move around in helped us to relax. Nice pool and game room. Breakfast area was roomy and provided a good selection of food items
We always stay here on our shopping trips to Niagara Falls and Buffalo. The hotel I always clean and comfortable and great value for the money. The location is perfect. We are never disappointed, and stay is always pleasant.
Very clean hotel with helpful staff & a great morning breakfast with huge breafast room to seat all guests. Close to Military Road for shopping & lots of restaurants nearby. Lots of parking & fast elevator for those on the 2nd floor.
This was a good stay, very clean and comfortable. The staff was cheerful and helpful. It is fairly close to Niagra Falls. The breakfast was good and well presented. The breakfast room is available 24 hours so our group could have a place to meet which was a bonus.
I stayed in one night and really liked the place. very clean hotel, the room and i had really good breakfast. everything about this hotel i liked it. I'll definite stay this place again. it was cheap and good.
I have reviewed many hotels over the last several years and I am usually very positive. However, this hotel appears to be declining in many ways. Our room had only one trash can in the entire room, the coffee machine in the lobby did not work the second day, you had to go to the desk to get pool towels (this is a very long walk). The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. It just seems to be one bubble off good
was a great hotel for price. the breakfast was great. I do wish that they would have bacon. I don't like sausage. the pool was great the towels could be a little bigger. the towels in the room were good and I liked the towel holder.
I found this hotel on hotel tonight for a reasonable price for 1 night. Its 15 mins away from the falls which is great. Breastfast was decent and the beds were very comfortable. There were some issues during my stay. The staff here is very unpleasant. The lady in the front desk has no manners, very rude when asking her if I can check in early. Housekeeping came to my room THREE times to check what time we were leaving. The third time they came with the hotel manager or owner is what it looked like and she basically kicked us out. I have been to many hotels and this has never happened. I have checked in early and have checked out late with no issues. Once again the staff was very rude and not welcoming. I would not recommend anyone to this hotel. Take your business else where.
I would stay at this hotel again. Nothing fancy, but everything worked. Room was neat, clean, functional and comfortable, business centre was funtional, fitness room was well-equipped and open at reasonable times. Breakfast was nutritious, with lots of choice. Lots of restaurants and fast food choices nearby, and a very safe neighbourhood.
We enjoyed our trip to Niagara and our stay at Best Western. We found the hotel to be very nice and clean, good full breakfast every morning, and a very easy commute to the downtown and Falls area. parking downtown was reasonable and plentiful.
Good location, 10 minutes drive to falls and 3 minutes to outlet. Nice place to stay for family travel. Room is clean and Wifi speed is ok, breakfast is nice, only pity is that is checking out time 11:00am is too earlier, if it can extend to at least 12:00pm will be perfect.
Around 5-10 min drive from Niagara falls, Has a restaurant and bowling alley right next to it. Supermarkets and fast food just a 2 min drive from the hotel. Breakfast was good and the rooms were nice and clean. Staff were also very friendly.
I was disappointed in the limited space available in the room. The entry doors are totally inadequate for passing through if you have any luggage. The male representative who checked us out was warm and friendly, but other personnel didn't seem to care if we were there or not. The hotel has a great pool area, but we didn't use that.
We went for the weekend to see the falls. This BW hotel was only about 20-30 mins. away (depending on the traffic) and we found it to be convenient and a good price compared to those hotels closer to the falls. We've never stayed in a BW and I admit, initially I was put off by the outside appearance which was a bit run down but inside it was clean and pleasant with a helpful and friendly staff. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The set up with the sink outside of the bathroom was odd but it was fine. The only thing I didn't like about the sink was that the faucet was set too far back and so whenever it was used water went all over the counter but that's not really a big deal, we just kept a towel nearby to wipe it up. I'm not a big breakfast eater so the offerings were fine for me but my husband felt there wasn't enough variety. There are a lot of restaurants in the area (most not of the "fine dining" variety but there are many of those nearer the falls). We didn't use the pool but there is one. Our son enjoyed the mini arcade that is located outside of the pool area...bring quarters, lol! Overall, we had a fine stay and it was sufficient for what we were there for.
This hotel was far beyond what we expected. The room was great and looked like it was recently remodeled. The breakfast was above and beyond anything I've ever had at a hotel. There were eggs and sausage and three waffle irons along with lots of toppings.
Came for a softball tournament, had ajoining rooms with grand kids.Clean, comfortable ,amenities good.Breakfast more than adequate.Price good.Close enough to drive to falls ,not walking distance.People friendly.would reccomend and stay again if in area.
Best Western Summit Inn is excellent as a motel. The breakfast area is huge and could be used more effectively so guest are not all crowded into one straight line. If they would use the long serving island area from both sides it would be easier to get oatmeal ready without waiting for the long lineup of toast and waffle makers. Just some rearranging would allow for a more efficiently run morning routine.
The hotel is not far from I-90. Our room was clean and comfortable enough. The hallways were clean. But like many Best Westerns I have stayed in, they just feel average. The shower was weak and many of the plugs were not snug enough to use for charging cameras and phones. The sink countertop was minimal in size and outside the bathroom. The breakfast room was very spacious and they had a number of offerings. The food was average. We took a Gray Line tour into Niagara and the pick up point was straight down the street about a mile or so right by I-90. There is a nice shopping center on N. Military Drive with several options for eating out also on that road. The staff seemed courteous and helpful. I did not have any problems with the hotel and would consider it again. I gave it a 4 because 5 has to be an awesome place!
We stayed here while visitng the falls and found the facility to be clean and well maintained. We got a clean room and the wifi(free) was good. they served hot breakfast every morning and had an ndoor pool and fitness center as well. there was plenty of parking and the staff was pleasant. it is ~20 mins to the falls and they also have a shuttle to the falls from the hotel
During my stay I lost a diamond earring. The back was found in the bathroom and the staff offered to take the trap out of the sink to check. The housekeeper found the diamond behind some luggage and returned it. We had already look around the suitcases so she must have really searched to find it. My many thanks to the staff.
$300 a night for a tiny room with two double beds, not queens. Yes, there was a soccer tournament in town but the hotel wasn't sold out as I went on two different hotel websites while we were there to see what the price is normally. Ironically the Summit Inn was shown to be available on the day we were there for $159. Even if the price was reasonable, it would only merit three stars. Staff was friendly, breakfast was typical of most chain hotels, but the rooms were very small.
the hotel is about a 5-10 minute drive to Niagara Falls, but easy to find & near shopping & restaurants. The hotel staff is helpful & the rooms are spacious & clean. There is a small, but nice pool with plenty of seating for a quick meal outside of the room or members of your party that do not wish to swim. Breakfast was a nice variety & pretty tasty for a breakfast buffet @ a hotel. Would highly recommend.
Had a great time!!! Had a king and 2 queen beds and was perfect with lots of space for 6!!! Had pizza delivered but took an hour. Used the pool a little cold, would have been nice if they had a hot tub!!! But we all had a great time on our vacation.... I would stay at this hotel again!!!
Don't judge based on outside appearance it's very nice inside. Clean and pleasant very nice indoor pool staff was very friendly and helpful breakfast was ok close to the falls and Niagara State Park overall a good place at a reasonable price.
Room was very spacious suite for 6 people. Beds were awesome and everyone slept well. Very clean. TV was huge. Room overlooked pool, kids loved that. Breakfast was very good. Would stay again if in area.
I love this place. Very close to everything and room are very clean. Staff is amazing and friendly. Front desk is always willing to help and the cleaning staff always polite. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
My fiance and I stayed here during a weekend trip for a concert. We ended up going to the falls (which was only a 20 minute drive) and attending our concert. There are plenty of dining options nearby and shopping options as well. There was so much to do, I can't wait to go back! The pool was great and the staff was extremely friendly.
This Hotel is a very good stay, room is a decent size very clean. There is a big pool as well as Pin Ball and Video Games in the Pool Lounge area great place for the kids to play and hang out. We have stayed twice now and the only complaint we have is the noise sometimes at night LATE at night. Parents are to blame mostly but the Hotel staff should walk the halls and act on the noise complaints. Great Breakfast the next day all in all a great stay !!
Our family and some families that we are friends with all stayed overnight at the hotel. The rooms, pool, and building were very clean. They allowed us to use their cafeteria area to order out for food so the families could eat together / hang out together. We enjoyed our stay.
Very convenient location !!!, super close to Niagara Falls Park and all the recreation areas. They offered a trolley service to get in to the park that was easy and super convenient!!!Prices very cheap. Hotel was clean!!
Check in was a breeze, our room was lovely and clean. Glad there was a refrigerator, and it was nice and quiet. The pool was large and the hotel provided towels as well. The little arcade area was a hit with my son. The drive to the Falls was only 15mns.
Went on vacation with the family in the mid July 2017, the hotel was clean, nice and quiet. We stayed in a double queen room, everything was great: the room was clean, the bathroom was clean, the room was quiet -next to us was a family with two small kids but we have not heard them at all in our room. The wifi was great. The hotel was recently updated, they don't allow smoking or pets, so it does not smell. The hotel has a pool, and a fitness room, but we have not used them, but they both looked nice. We had two breakfasts there during our stay, everything was fresh. The staff keept the dining room clean, and the room itself is of a nice size, so you won't be feeling cramped during breakfast. Also, the coffee station was accessible after the breakfast time was over, we refilled our mugs upon leaving. The hotel is in close a proximity to all kinds of restaurants on the Niagara Falls Boulevard, it was not an issue to find a place for dinner. The hotel staff was nice and helpful, the check-in and check-out went without issues. We would stay there again.
Great location and friendly staff. Pool is nice to cool off in. 10 minute drive to Niagara Falls. After getting directions to the Falls, the front desk personnel went above and beyond and helped us navigate to see the best parts of the Falls.
A clean, quiet hotel with several choices of restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a short distance from Niagara Falls, had a pool for the kids, and a decent breakfast service. Our only difficulty was managing our huge luggage cart through the front doors which had to be held open manually.
It was conveniently located between my relatives and Niagara Falls so in that regard it was a great location. The pool was well kept and the staff offered towels upon check in. The breakfast quality was OK. Not the greatest breakfast but there were items that met the need for a quick eat and dash. As compared to other places in the area it was above average for the cost. Hallway noise was an issue. They
We were in a large family group and the hotel staff accomodated us quickly and given the attached rooms. Breajfast is Standard for this type of hotel but i felt the cleanliness and the quality makenit stand amingst the top in this category of the hotels.
The cleanliness of the hotel, room and pool area were better than what we expected. Breakfast was good and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. Only downfall was the beds were way to firm for us so we didn't get a really good night's sleep.
Hotel itself was clean, breakfast included did not have a great selection. As far as distance to the Niagara Falls, I think there are better hotels closer to the area, I also noticed the Canada side was much better kept and more activities to do around. If your on a budget and want to stay real close to the Niagara Falls airport then, this might be your place to stay. If I visit again I will staying on the Canada side. Also don't expect any views of the falls, your miles away from even looking at it. Over all had a nice time with husband and kids.
Charging $184.99 for the first night, then raising it to $269.99 is outrageous. Taking advantage of people because there are tournaments in town is not right. $269.99 for the quality of this hotel and the area it is located in, is highway robbery. Our team (and the girls team) has stayed there the last 2 years, but not at these prices. Completely put off by this particular hotel and the Best Western name.
The motel was clean, staff friendly ... breakfast was not abundant but everything was Fresh and eating area clean. If you like to visit wineries this Motel is close to all of them. I would recommend to a friend if looking for a place to stay for a night or two.
When we pulled up, we were slightly concerned as it looked like a very cheap hotel. Man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Inside was very modern and comfortable. Rooms were quiet, very clean, and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.
Though hotel is old, its well maintained and very comfortable. Rooms were tidy, beds and pillows clean and comfortable for a good night's rest. Morning breakfast had variety and was good. Staff were very polite and friendly. Will definitely recommend for families.
WeStayed 4 nights for business. The handicap ADA room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a good variety of hot and cold foods. The staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. Check in and check out was rapid and thorough. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it for business or leisure.
Was Average but the room did have plenty of room for family. Hotel was in decent location to attraction but not a whole lot of information available. other then that the hotel was average but the breakfast was not very good. Could have had more variety and easier access to the breakfast.
My family stayed here while visiting Niagara Falls - it was a few minutes outside of the downtown area but I wouldn't recommend staying in the downtown area because the roads/traffic is a mess and it looks like the zombie apocalypse is about to be filmed...a lot of the stores/buildings look run down/unsafe! We had a room with 2 queen beds and a couch in one room and a king bed in an adjacent private bedroom. There was also a kitchen and bathroom. The indoor pool was a nice size; we had to ask for towels but luckily the housekeeping laundry area was just outside the pool area. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Compared to nearby hotels with smaller rooms and more expensive prices, I would definitely recommend staying here instead.
The good: check-in was quick and easy, the rooms were clean on check-in, the breakfast was good (sausage, eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, pastries), they accommodated our request for adjoining rooms, and the pool looked good although we didn't use it. The not so good: had two rooms, and one of the little frig's didn't work (although they replaced it after we asked), the housekeepers took our towels but didn't clean the rooms the first day (stayed three nights), the door in the bathroom wouldn't open all the way (scraped on the floor, had never been installed properly - seriously?), and the exercise machines in the workout room were pretty worn; the first one I tried to use was totally dead. Overall not bad, but noticeably lacking in some areas.
Super friendly staff, great rooms, indoor pool, wi-fi, fantastic hot breakfast served daily, only about 10 minutes from the falls and the price was great. Save yourself some money over staying at one of the pricey hotels overlooking the falls, this Best Western is well worth staying at
The carpets & rooms seemed a little run down for a 3 stsr rating from AAA. But the heated indoor pool and laundry facilities were s big hit with the rainy days we experienced. I had to laugh at the pool towels that u have to request from the desk. They are tiny! The location was good for day trips to Buffalo & Rochester . Great location to visit Niagra falls! Guess thats why the rating was higher.
I stayed here on 18 June with my family, Very good location with ample parking, v good staff, very neat & clean hotel, rooms well equipped with bath room, ironing board with iron, TV, fridge, nice beds, WiFi etc. Gym, swimming pool, Free breakfast in the morning 7to 10.30 with good choices, check in/out very fast, highly recommended for luxurious & comfortable stay
And great and reasonable place to stay. Good complimentary breakfast. And coffee available all day. Shuttle passes made readily available as are maps or directions .pool is kept sparkling clean and at perfect temperature.
Overall review of the facility is first class. Rooms impeccably clean, Great Shower, easy to operate, water pressure. Beds first class, quiet rooms. First class hotel. From the look of the rooms they have been refurbished recently.
Great location to enjoy the Niagara Falls area and other points of interest. I have family that lives in the area, but I prefer to stay at a hotel located nearby. They are employed in the hotel industry, yet they know our preference will always be this location. It is very comfortable and the staff is very responsive, and helpful.
We traveled from KY to Niagara Falls for a visit to the State Park. We stayed the night at the Best Western Summit Inn. There were four family members in our room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean and comfortable and we didn't feel too crowded. We were tired from the long drive and the beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep. We did not use the indoor pool, but it looked nice. Walking to my room, I noticed a guest laundry, which we didn't need, but I always take notice of these when I'm traveling, because often we do utilize them. The breakfast was decent. A few hot items, fresh fruit, waffles, pastries, juices and coffee along with a nice sized room for breakfast. The hotel was an easy drive to Niagara Falls. It was a nice place for a family visit!
Great location if you are shopping at the Fashions Outlet Mall! Check-in was quick and efficient and they offer a good breakfast as part of the room deal. Rooms were comfortable and there is an indoor pool for those who would wish to swim. I would recommend for families and for a stop over. Good value for a clean/safe and friendly hotel.
Good value for the money. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. And the location is close to the falls, the border and several local attractions.
Gorgeous and friendly place to stay. Comfortable beds, swimming pool, excellent breakfast included. Lots of stores up and down Niagara Blvd for anything you need if you forget anything. They have an arcade area for kids... or adults. I wasn't expecting so much to be offered for breakfast.
Away from busy Falls area but close enough to drive. Located near outlet mall and restaurants. The indoor pool was largest have seen and well kept. Overall, this hotel was very clean and kept up. The breakfast was great and didn't lack choices.
Loved this hotel. Couldn't find any faults. Comfy beds. Lovely bathroom. Very clean. Great location. Stayed for two nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice pool. Lovely breakfast. Very nice friendly staff. Lots of places to eat nearby. Didnt want to leave
Although the remote was missing. I told the desk person and she gave me another remote and showed me how to program it. All in all the hotel was a good place to stay, close by to many restaurants a amenities and 10 minutes to9 Niagara Falls
Very nice place, would stay there again.Breakfast was hot and nicely served. Good selection. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was tasteful done in all grey. Should of gotten something for a reward s member . Each time we stayed before at other best western we have.
As a truck driver, we stay in many hotels through the whole year, and we chose to stay at this Best Western on our vacation to Niagara Falls NY. Great place to stay. Will stay again for sure!! If I have any issues, it was that the bed was a little hard for my liking.
This is an older hotel that was renovated and is very well maintained. To confirm our rating, we have been coming back twice a year for at least 3 years and plan to go back. There price is very competitive in the area.
Beds were not up to best western standards. Exterior and interior need upgraded. Parking lot was rough and had a lot of puddles where cars parked. Heater in room kept going on and off in shot cycles and was noisy.
Everything seemed clean and the staff was kind, professional and efficient. The rooms are a bit too small because there isn't much space for the luggage and the showers need a liner because water gets all over the sleek stone floor, which becomes slippery. The kids loved the pool. It was clean and the area looks well maintained.
We stayed at Best Western Summit Inn in July 2016 for an overnight rest stop. We look for a budget priced place when traveling, that is non-smoking, and inviting. Because we are budget minded, we don't expect the Taj Mahal, but we do expect a clean, bug free room in a safe location. This hotel met those qualifications. COMMENTS: ROOM: Spacious room had Queen beds, dresser, flat screen TV, remote, couch/chair, table, coffee pot, small refrigerator. It was off an inside hallway. Also, there was no comforter on the bed. Instead, there was an extra sheet covering instead. That is a plus in my book! BUGS: There was no evidence of bugs (I looked!). ELECTRICAL OUTLET: On the nightstand there was a light that had extra outlets in its base that made the charging of electronics easy. ODORS: No unusual odors. POOL: There was an inside pool which we didn't use, so can't really comment on. BUILDING: Looks as though the building was recently updated. AREA: I didn't notice loud noises, and I felt comfortable in the area. OFFICE STAFF: friendly staff RATING SCALE: Let me point out my "rating scale". An average rating means clean, but there was dust along the floor boards. I give an "excellent" ONLY to places that have absolutely no dust buildup anywhere (including corners and offer a free hot breakfast). I use the following scale when rating: 1 star: Yuck… would not return 2 star: Slightly better, but still would not return 3 star: Budget priced, with issues that may or may not have been resolved OR higher priced location with unresolved issues. 4 star: Either a budget priced location with no issues OR a higher priced location with issues that were resolved 5 star: Either a budget priced location with no issues and the room and surrounding area was absolutely clean, newer, well appointed with a hot breakfast provided OR a higher priced location with expected greatness due to being a higher priced location and EVERYTHING was worth paying the extra price. Bottom line, 3 stars or better indicate I was satisfied and would stay there again.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for so many reasons. The staff are great, especially the woman who runs the breakfast area. She keeps it clean all the time, well stocked and is very friendly. Also the waffle maker has a cute heart shaped Best Western logo - nice branding there, BW hotel! The room we stayed in was large with a king bed and sofa bed. The bed was super comfy. The pool area was super clean and large. Now the downsides which are not so terrible really. In the room, although the shower head was somewhat modern, the water pressure was verrrrry weak, so I think that is the only thing that could use an improvement (p.s. Best Western if you need one, I know a great plumber in the area if you need help with that area!!). Secondly the pool was a perfect temp and the pool surrounding area is so huge that I could definitely see a jacuzzi being put in there. It was a downer that there was not one, although I did know ahead of time that there was not one. I just think having one would bring even more and more customers especially since I did not see many jacuzzi options in the area. There is so much unused space in that pool area. I was also surprised that there was not a towel bin area in the pool area. In more hotels they offer a place where you can get towels for when you are using the pool. Also if the breakfast could offer hard boiled eggs I think those are so popular, you can just grab one and go if you want. Also not a huge deal but there was no whole wheat bread option. With these minor things overall it was still a great stay and I will definitely consider this place again when visiting the NF area.
Close to the outlets mall and eateries. Close to the border too. We arrived late after 9 pm and on check in we were given 2 key cards. We walked to the rooms which was quite a stretch for a tired person and our allocated room couldn't unlock. We walked back and explained the situation and we were given newly programmed cards. My husband went to try and they did not work. The attendant came and tried unsuccessfully and she said the battery on the door must be dead. So she allocated us another room. Other that the room was clean and comfortable
I enjoyed the people and the time spent at this hotel. Its in a very good location, close to food and not to far from the outlet mall. They have a nice pool and a very good breakfast in the morning for the guest
Best Western Summit inn, Niagara Falls, NY was close to so many places - shopping, restaurants, the border crossing, and all the the region offers. It had an inviting, clean and well cared for entrance and parking, that continued through the hotel. Our room was a good size, plenty of towels, a very comfortable mattress and FIVE pillows! All very nice!
Mattress and bad quality was not good. Room and lobby was good. Had better experience with other motel. Not impressed. Had better experience when last time i paid 60 dollars per night with super 8.... Here Paid 100 dollar.
Just staying one night is good. it's a little bit far away from the Buffalo Niagara Int'l airport. Taxi fee is a little bit expensive from airport to the hotel but the prices of room is cheap compared to the facilities of the hotel. the breakfast is served free and it taste good. the server at the restaurant was really kind. I enjoyed comfortably. If I could smoke in somewhere inside hotel I would be more happier.
We planned a two night vacation stay in Niagara Falls to see the falls and to shop. The room was chilly and damp. My wife got sick. The next morning we checked out so that I could take her home to her doctor. The hotel charged me for the next night even though we did not stay. The hotel should be responible for conditions that they create.
The hotel was clean. It had a nice pool and water was warm. Breakfast was nice too with waffles, eggs and sausage. We would definitely stay here again when staying over in Buffalo for shopping. Factory outlet mall only few minutes away.
Things were ok here. Some minor things but overall it was ok. Rooms need a little more lighting snd the furniture updated. The beds were clean and comfortable and we felt at home during our stay due to the great attitude of the staff!
We visit this hotel a lot of years for our shopping in the states. The staff is friendly, breakfast is consistently good and the rooms are being renovated to be more modern. The location to Military mall is just a few minutes away and there is a lot of restaurants close by.
Great location 5 minutes drive from ghd niagra falls Plenty of places to eat near by also bowling alley next door for extra entertainment Room very good we had family room for five of us number 227 two doubles one queen/king double and a sofa bed Parking just outside, swimming pool fitness centre etc Very good choice
We have stayed there many time. Hotel has been up graded and is very nice. Other than the way the eggs are cooked at the otherwise great breakfast the hotel is perfect for us coming over the border to do a little shopping. Will go again for sure.
Great place to stay... A few leaks thought building and broken furniture in rooms, but has plans to update and remodel. Biggest issue is with front desk staff name Flo...She is very inappropriate, unprofessional, and rude...She yells at children and talk ignorant to guest...She called the cops on guest when she causes the problems and distroyed hotel property by pulling cord out of the wall from computer room when it clearly states 24 hour business center just to make a point..She is way out of order and does not need to work directly with the public...
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are very clean and updated, they offered a tasty breakfast with options like eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes and much more. They had a beautiful large indoor pool area and an arcade which we really enjoyed. I always appreciate free internet and a business office for printing tickets, etc. The fitness area was well maintained and had all the basics. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and attentive to details.
This hotel is a lovely find. The rates are wonderful and the rooms are comfy. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. It's close to the falls and there are many places around that help a traveler out.
We chose this hotel because of location and I understood it had been recently remodeled. The rooms and the halls have been redone but their cleaning staff is not doing their job! The place was a mess. The two photos I attached are in the first room I was given the chair was filthy as you can see and the belt laying on the chair was left behind by the previous occupant. We were given another room on the second floor that was acceptable. The photo of the gold colored chair is one of the chairs in the dining area, they all looked pretty much the same. My daughter didn't even want to sit down after looking through the whole dining room and trying to find a clean chair. I am pretty good at letting things slide slide but this was disgusting. I provided these photos to the management staff, they did change my room but nothing else was offered.
I haven't been to a BW in forever but when we did go we choose this one because it had an indoor pool, that was a must for the little ones. The staff were very kind to us and attended to our needs and so very friendly. My son forgot his tablet and his stuffy, they took the time to call us to tell us we had, the honesty alone was great! The room was clean, the pool and area was clean and the breakfast was delicious. Shopping malls were so very close I recommend this hotel. We had nothing but a great experience
We stayed here when we went to the casino for a concert. Nice and clean. Some of the other motels on the "Blvd" look a little seedy but this property is modern and very comfortable. We only had coffee in the morning but breakfast looked very good.
This hotel was very nice. The pool was nice, no hot tub but can't have it all sometimes. Very good value for the rate. Breakfast was quite good. The staff were all terrific... I would reccommend this hotel. Lots of restaurants etc. near by
We stayed at this location for two nights November 13 - 15. The staff on the reception desk were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel has obviously been newly renovated and our room very nicely furnished and had a very tasteful decor. The hotel is a lot bigger than it appears from first glance. It has a indoor salt water pool which was very clean ..could have been a little warmer for our tastes. Breakfast is included with the night's accommodation and it was great - everything from yogurt, hot and cold cereal, fresh fruit, waffles, eggs and sausage - something for every taste. Coffee and juice were available 24/7 in the breakfast room. This hotel is very close to shopping and a short drive to the Falls. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends and family and will definitely stay there on our next trip to Niagara Falls New York.
At least in November, it offered a great price. Only 6 miles away from the Falls, with free wifi, breakfast and parking. Indoor pool and gym. Friendly staff, clean, and many restaurants nearby. It's a big hotel but did not look packed (it may be so during the summer).
Been staying at this hotel for years. Always good service. Clean and accommodating. Great when kids were young as pool is open late and very clean. Also small arcade near pool. Has been updated since early days. Breaky goes till 1030am which is great. Same management for years.
Buffalo Ladies shopping trip and stayed at Best Western Summit Inn a great Hotel Rooms clean and spacious , Swimming pool area excellent Staff very friendly and helpful Breakfast is very good and there is 24hrs access to Microwave price is competitive with other Hotels in the area but I recommend you stay here. They also have Handicap accessible rooms and an elevator that goes to 2nd floor
Clean, comfortable rooms. Competitively priced. Good value for the money. Staff is eager to please, very attentive. Have been staying there 2 times a year for the past six years, and I'll keep on using this motel.
Super clean hotel with friendly staff and reasonable rates. The beds are very comfortable and nice updated bathrooms. Good location for shopping and lots of food choices close by. Very easy check-in and check-out.
This was exactly what we needed after spending the night at a shady motel the night before. Front desk lady was very friendly and gave us a CAA discount. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Bed was comfortable and the only improvement we could think of was to replace the pillows as they were old and lumpy. But other than that this hotel had great amenities and the price was right. We would stay here again and recommend it!
Regular front desk people must have been off the weekend that we were there. Professional but not socially interactive front desk people this time. Breakfast was lacking hot eggs, but had hard boiled, love the signature waffle, did not try the pool, which we regularly do because of social commitments. Clean, comfortable, quiet even though we were beside the stairs and elevator. Quieter than normal which was appreciated.
This hotel is so affordable and it is extremely nice! The rooms are all newly renovated and the pool is super clean!! Best place to stay minutes away from the falls! Only downfall to the room is there is no microwave, but there is a mini fridge!
Even though we were exhausted and irritated with bank card issues when checking in, there were two wonderful, friendly, charismatic and accommodating ladies who made checking in easier and feel like home. We were blown away as to how friendly and accommodating they were. With bank card issues while using in States - one of the ladies let us use their own cell phone to make sure we were able to speak to the bank and get a room. The manager (whoever they are) should be proud of their evening staff - these two ladies especially. They're there at a critical time when travellers are exhausted, frustrated and sometimes hungry, and are quick to make sure our stay was pleasant and our needs were met. Will be back. Thank you to the staff who made BW feel like a home away from home.
Eating in the dinning room with HUGE garbage cans catching the rain coming in the ceiling was not very good for the atmosphere for eating to say the least. The tables were never cleaned between patrons, sticky, plates left laying and dirty! carpet disgusting. The food was terrible as well ended up eating FROOT LOOPS!
Most of my stay it rained but I was able to see the falls and see most of the city and do a little shopping . Coming back to the hotel was always nice being greeted with a warm sincere Hello and awesome atmosphere. Very quiet and safe enough for me to feel comfortable.
We selected this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews and price. We found the hotel to be clean and our room and bed comfortable. The property is surprisingly deep and was much larger than we thought from our first impression. Renovations have been completed on much of the hotel, but there were some serious roof leaks in the breakfast area (we came during a particularly rainy and cold stretch of weather) that the staff was making their best efforts to capture and handle. The lady in the breakfast area was very warm and friendly - a great ambassador for this hotel.
The hotel had clean rooms with a very nice bathroom, decent breakfast and spacious swimming pool. From the outside the hotel looked small but inside seemed much bigger. I would have given 5 stars if there was a microwave in the room but overall nice.
Stayed heer many times before. Very clean. Renovations nearing completion. New baths, rooms very nice. Greeting staff very cordial and helpful. Dinning staff very courteous .Breakfast buffet and dining facilities real nice. Top notch exercise room. A great price for the area, only a short distance from all the Niagara Falls sights.
We love staying at best western. This is very nice place to stay if you are visiting Niagara Falls. They provided grab to go treat if you are unable to eat breakfast at dining room. The hotel price is very reasonable.
We enjoyed our stay. Lots of restaurant in the vicinity. A few minutes drive to Niagara falls state park. Parking is big. There is an indoor swimming pool. There is also a big bowling alley besides the hotel.
We stayed here four nights while visiting Niagara Falls. It's not right near the falls, but a short distance (5 miles) away so still convenient. Niagara Falls Blvd is the main drag, so there is a lot closet to the hotel - Wegmans, Tim Horton's, drugstores, etc. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, because everything was clean and new looking. Our king room was very clean and quiet (most of the time, see below), with a common balcony that overlooked the pool. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and well stocked (plenty of towels). Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Two negatives were while we were there. They were working on the roof - and it sounded like elephants were marching and rolling barrels on the ceiling in our room. We were out most days so it wasn't too bad however, one night they worked until well after 9PM and we were woken up around 9:45 by the sound of a nailgun (or some other hydraulic type tool). Other than that, this was the quietest hotel I've been in in a while - no noises from the hallways or the pool were noticeable in the room. Breakfast was also problematic. The room was a good size and clean, but the quality of the food/equipment was lacking. They had the usual waffle makers, one of which was broken the second day we stayed. They had no real butter, only vegetable oil spread and when I ventured to try that, four out of the four packets I opened were off color and looked like they had softened and re-solidified several times. I did mention it to the young woman stocking the fruit, but she just told me "That's all we have." I also heard another guest complain that the juice machine was dispensing warm juice. We skipped it the next two days to get breakfast somewhere else - there's only so many butterless English muffins and flabby sausages one can eat. In general though, this was a good value hotel and I would stay again (once they finish the roof).
Smelly, gym doesn't open til 8:00 a.m. which doesn't help if you work, broken items in gym, guest rooms were dark with missing light bulbs. Housekeeping only allowed to put one light bulb in each light fixture. Spoke to front desk, but front desk clerk states they "just don't know how to help". This was on a weekend that it appeared to be busy.
This trip was made to celebrate the retirement of a friend. My wife and the other couple decided that Niagara Falls was the place for this celebration, Upon arrival the front desk staff was friendly and answered a few questions about the area. The king room was spacious, clean, quiet and easy to access. Everything worked well with exception to the television which seemed to take a while to warmup. After which it worked fine. Beds in this hotel are very comfortable and maybe even new. The decor is a little dated but well kept. The hotel staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. Breakfast was normal Best Western fare. It was hot and the variety was good. The breakfast area was very clean. Checkout was quick and easy. Again the front desk staff was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to a friend relative or anyone looking for a mid-priced hotel.
This was a very nice place to stay, it was easy to find. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, well stocked and better than most non-Best-Western hotels. We had a pleasant stay and would stay here again if in the area.
The hotel rooms appeared to be recently updated and were very clean. The exterior and lobby were a little dated, but also clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a great price for a hotel that was an easy 10 minute drive to the falls
I really enjoyed my stay here. I went with my siblings for a weekend stay and they absolutely loved the indoor pool. The staff was all great and friendly. They were also very helpful in finding places. The location was about a ten or fifteen ride to the falls and was close to many stores and gas stations. The rooms were a nice size but not big by any means. The only problem I had was the breakfast which wasn't horrible. I enjoyed it but it could've been better.
The swimming pool is nice and clean except that no hot tub and sauna in the area. It would be better if there is a restroom also. This place is one of our favorite BW hotels in NY. With a fridge TV, sofa, aircon and nice lights, the bed, pillows, duvet, bed sheets were good and working. The only issue was the dirty toilet bowl under the ring. Also, the attitude of the housekeeper was not good as she was not courteous and helpful. The front desk staff were nice, courteous and helpful.
At first we were worried when we drove from the falls to the hotel -- but it was better than we ever expected! Breakfast was great! A light bulb burned out and they had it replaced in a heartbeat! Wifi was excellent! It was very safe.
*)Very close to Niagara, though its not in the downtown, wont feel the drive. *) Rooms are clean and neat. They have indoor pool, would be great to relax after a day of walk in Niagara and they have some gaming stations too. *) Food is good, with timely refills *) Overall, had a good stay
Ask for handicapped room..got one first floor..however very small..no closets or place to hang towels..ironing board and iron or room size fridge...not up to best western standards...Ask manager they are trying to figure it out...clean hotel friendly staff..h poo wever room should n oink t be rented until this was figured out
We stayed here so we'd be close to the Canadian border for our Niagara Falls visit. Breakfast is barely breakfast (we ate at Denny's nearby). The hotel is small, rooms are small, Internet is slow (when it works).
Closest to Niagara falls Airport within walking distance.Enterprise rental car is 2 buildings to the right for easy pickup. Hotel provides trolley tickets in case you need to use the bus. Breakfast has variety with with waffles/eggs. Comfortable room with business center/printer for printing tickets. Friendly front desk staff. About 6-7 miles from Falls park. Some restaurants are nearby but you can always take trolley to explore. Would have been nice if the hotel provides free shuttle
Very clean.and staff very helpful. The location was great for what we wanted to see,and the staff provided maps and directions to local point of interest. The cost per night was quite reasonable ,compared to other sites.
The personnel were terrific. Checkin and out easy. Breakfast way above average, with fresh fruits, bagels, waffles, et al. Open early and coffee and snacks available thru most of the day and evening. We got a room overlooking the pool which was not used by many. The pool is indoors. Bed was wonderful, shower was tiled and clean, very quiet during our three night stay. Only 15 minutes from the Falls and the list of recommended local restaurants was also terrific, notably Buzzy's, Como's and of course, any Ted's hot dog/burger spot. TV's had large HD screens and included HBO. We love the Niagara area (we're from San Diego), and anytime we're fortunate to return we'll always stay here.
We stayed 1 night to catch or Myrtle Beach flight the day. Clean, quiet, and easy unloading access from the rear door. Breakfast is awesome and they let us pro he car there for the week while we were in MB. Great place for a quick overnight.
I stayed here with my boyfriend and his son for one night during a trip to Niagara falls New York. We got a great price and the hotel was everything we needed. We swam in the indoor pool which was clean and had plenty of seating around it. Our room had two queen beds which were comfortable and there were lots of pillows with different softness/hardness which was nice. The bathroom was a little strange. Just a toilet and shower behind the door and the sink and mirror in the main room. That was actually helpful so I could do my hair and makeup while the boys showered. The strange part was there was no tub and no partition between the shower and the rest of the floor in the bathroom. So even with a towel down the water splashed onto the floor and it got soaking wet. Perhaps this is a handicapped shower but there were no signs of the room being especially for handicapped individuals. That's not a huge deal though just a minor abnormality. The breakfast was adequate and well stocked but the coffee was pretty gross. We checked out in the morning to go to the falls and then go home. It is about a 15-20 minute drive to the falls which is worth the price difference for the room. And there is a Starbucks on the way which is a treat for me since we don't have one in our town. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
We have been using this hotel for our NF/Buffalo stays for years now - keep coming back as the quality is consistently good at a reasonable price. Over the past year, they have made quite a number of renovations to the exterior and interior. Our bathroom appears to have been totally re-done. There were a few roof leaks in evidence, but staff told me that project is being undertaken shortly.
Overall clean facility. Good distance from the falls. Descent neighborhood. Lacked a closet and needed a bit more light in room. But well worth it. Staff was good and room was comfortable. Bed a little bit high for my 73 year old mother.
Great Value for the $. Very well maintained property. I would stay here again when visiting Niagara Falls. It is around 5 miles from the hotel to see Niagara Falls waterfall on the US side of the border.
Stayed two nights, Sept 16,17,2016. Rooms, including bathrooms, have been remodeled since last stay (5-6 years ago). Quiet, clean, A/C worked well. Great breakfast included in room price. Didn't get a chance to check out pool. Will do next time
We were two couples traveling to Niagara Falls on a four day road trip and knew nothing about the area so we chose this Best Western from a AAA tour book based on location and daily rate. What a surprise to find a newly renovated facility that was clean, located a reasonable distance from the Falls and staffed by a helpful, friendly staff. We were checked in by Christina who not only answered all of our questions, recommended places for us to visit, but then proceeded to help us unload a larger piece of luggage by climbing into the back of our van when she saw us struggling with it. I had read reviews that complained that the complimentary breakfast included hard-boiled eggs rather than scrambled, but the facility doesn't have a kitchen, and there were so many other selections, that the absence of scrambled eggs just wasn't a problem at all. The ladies staffing the breakfast area kept it clean and stocked and were very helpful. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone thinking of visiting the area.
The property did not look appealing either from exterior or interior. Hallway carpets in the first floor need updating. However, for one overnight stay, our most important criteria was getting a good night's rest so it wasn't all bad. But the reason this BW property wasn't rated lower was because the hotel front desk was very friendly, accommodating, and seemingly aimed to please. They appeared to be on top on guests' welfare and were very professional and pleasant and they showed they love their jobs. We had to leave BW by 6am after our overnight stay and the front desk person offered us breakfast and grab bags to go even though breakfast was not open until 7am. This kind of gesture goes a very long way to making anyone's day. Also another plus going for this BW property is its proximity to a variety of dining establishments.
Another very enjoyable stay. Staff are very friendly and knowledgabe. We arrived at 2 am from Fort Lauderdale, everything was already for us upon arrival and where allowed a late check out. This location is close to to the airport, and every amenity imaginable. Thanks Christine and Amy
The room was clean and the service was great. Breakfast was decent. Worth the price. Plenty of parking space and it is not too far away from the attractions. We drove but I heard they provide passes for the shuttle and the shuttle stop is just outside the hotel. They have an indoor pool which was clean and well maintained. I would definitely go there again.
The hotel was very good overall. The front desk folks were friendly; the rooms were a good size and very clean. Housekeeping personnel very attentive and efficient. Breakfast had a good selection and the room was large with plenty of seating. The indoor pool and game room was better than average and well kept. There was enough parking close to the building and was free. The only negative was a fairly strong chemical smell in the hallway. It was not overpowering and did not smell in the rooms.
Although this hotel may seem outdated-the rooms are actually updated, pool area is large and open (not stuffy like most), staff is super friendly, breakfast has a few items that could be added to make it perfect but it was free. Great price and easily comparable if not better than other hotels across the street for double the price.
Not sure the reason for the recent negative reviews. We found the front desk to be very helpful and polite. The room was spacious, two luggage racks, and clean. The king bed was comfortable. And the room was quiet, even on the ground floor during Labor Day weekend. Breakfast was crowded, especially all kids wanting to make waffles, but I'm a yogurt and granola person. We have been traveling for three weeks across the US, we have not been disappointed yet with a BW.
Check in & check out was FASSSTTT ? We stayed for 3 nights and drove to Niagara Falls State Park every day, which is only about a 10 minute drive. Public transportation is available for minimal cost and the front desk can provide a pass for a free trolley service that picks you up right in front of the hotel and takes you to the park. We parked both in front and side of hotel, both entrance doors are near. Hotel is near to a lot of restaurants/fast food/stores where you can purchase any necessities (Dollar General, Family Dollar). Rooms were up to date and very clean!! I travelled with my mom and she inspects everything!! Rooms passed her test. There's a pool, on the smaller side, but was never occupied when we stayed. The workout room has outdated machines, but I doubt many workout during vacation =) they do have wall to wall mirrors so if you do zumba/yoga it's perfect plus they have towels/water machine in the workout room which is convenient. Now the most important part for us… BREAKFAST =D (we always book free breakfast hotels) they offer 3 types of cereal, oatmeal, waffle maker, coffee, juice machine, bananas, apples, tangerines, whipped cream, 2 types of bread, toaster, English muffins, hard boiled eggs, sausage links, mini danish, mini muffins, granola, yogurt in purple package I want to say it was Dannon, but I'm not sure… the bfast essentials are covered. Breakfast sitting area is very spacious and has a tv, the breakfast bar is also spacious but can get crowded at times. Overall a great stay, I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
We stayed here for our shopping trip to the outlets. It was close to many stores and restaurants. Lots of parking at the hotel. Rooms were clean. The kids loved the small arcade and the indoor pool. Breakfast was included and it was a great continental breakfast with your own waffle making station.... Not sure why other reviews are complaining about the FREE breakfast. Lots of places to sit at breakfast too. Will recommend this place to others.
And one night was enough! The two blond girls at the frontdesk, were the most uninspired hotelemployees I have ever met! Room is ok, but needs work and is outdated. Indoor pool is nice but offers no changing rooms, that makes it a bit awkward when returning to your room in your wet swimclothes. Breakfast is a joke, skip it if you want to eat anything good. It is all prefab, processed, full of fats and sugar stuff. So nothing really tasty to find here. I don't understand why hotels keep offering this junkfood. Love your guest and serve a good meal or don't serve anything at all!
I was a little disappointed with the rating on tripadvisor for this hotel. It certainly doesn't deserve the 4 stars it has. The hotel is quite old and it's starting to show. The bathtub in our room didn't drain properly so while you're showering you're standing in a pool of dirty soapy water which doesn't leave you feeling clean. But that wasn't the worst part, after I showered and started to dry myself with the towel, a huge ball of hair fell out of the towel. I was already half way to drying myself off. This was the total turn off. The breakfast is also pretty low on options. There's no omelet counter. Also the boiled eggs they had kept were ice cold. The self service waffle maker was a good idea but you'd better come in early if you want to get a shot at making a waffle. All in all, definitely not worth the money I paid for it.
Hotel was older, but was very nice and comfortable. Room decor was older style, but neat and tidy. Location and access to things we were doing was pretty convenient. Would stay again. Breakfast variety was good.
We stayed here because we were booking last minute and the reviews were good. Don't know why. While this is not a terrible place, I really cannot think of how it rated as well as it did. The bathroom ceiling over the tub had clearly been damaged by leaks at some point. There were worn parts around the shower. Again, now awful, but certainly not meriting anything other than evaluation as an average sort of place where you can put your head down for a night if you need a place to stay. The outside looks better than the inside. We were there during hot weather, and the AC is one of those window units that goes on and off all night.
Perfect for family stay or mid budget accommodation near to attractions. Rooms were neat and clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast served if guests are still eating. Good enough for what we needed. What I liked is their breakfast options and location of hotel to the falls.
We stayed at the Best Western Summit over Easter weekend. We had a fantastic time. We arrived and I ask if we could up grade our room to queen beds instead of double and they were able to do this at no added charge. The breakfast in the morning was good nothing fancy but still good. The pool was very inviting . We would stay there again. It was my husband , myself and 2 grandchildren 11 and 14.
stayed at this hotel twice. Last yr. seemed to be better w/no real problems. This yr., could not get the dampness out of the room. A/C was on, but done very little for dampness. Bedding felt wet. Overall cleanliness was good. Bathroom was dated, but, functioned ok. Left early in a.m., because of the moisture problem.
Located in an older part of town with Motel 6 and local low end motels around. 200 steps ( I counted) from our room to exit a desk. Large , clean room.TV and Internet worked well. Desk person friendly. Free breakfast ( last Marriot stayed in cost $20 per) just ok BUT IT WAS FREE. Enterprise rental close and $7 cab ride from airport... much cheaper than airport. De Dee's ice cream close and NOT TO BE MISSED !! Tour of falls picked us up here which was convenient. Front upper hallway smelled but could have been from new carpet.
Our room was dingy, dark and the faucet was useless as it barely hung over the basin!! Obviously not the original fixing, and when used flooded the area!! we also had an extremely noisy A/C. we reported it the receptionist, who just replied 'they are all like it!'. We asked for it to be looked at and went out. Upon our return, at gone mid night, our A/C was still noisy! being English (???) we never took it any further but come the morning we wish we had........we were either too hot or too noisy to sleep. We had planned a 2nd night, but the receptionist was so frosty and unhelpful we decided to just leave!! Breakfast was ok, kept running out of things. One plus, there was a laundry machine to use.....im easily pleased normally?? sorry we wouldn't recommend this one at all, there are plenty of others to choose!
Stayed for 3 nights. Room was good size and I especially liked how the bathroom was perpendicular from the room, which offered privacy too. Had a fridge which was helpful. Clean all around. Kids loved the pool which was large for a hotel pool. The free breakfast was decent. Had breads, waffle maker, sausage, cereal, fruit and hard boiled eggs. Would have liked scrambled eggs for variety one morning but overall good. There were plenty of tables in the breakfast area and we didn't have any trouble getting a table for 4 every morning. The front desk staff and the breakfast area staff were friendly, smiled, and were proactive in being helpful when they saw someone look lost or questioning. Plenty of parking. It was a easy to get to Niagara Falls State Park...about 7 miles or 15 minute ride and never had trouble finding parking there. There are some fast food restaurants nearby and a good pizza/sub place (David's).
Rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable, pool too small, not enough luggage carts. We had a leak in ceiling from rain but we were offered another room. Overall I was satisfied and I trust Best Western and will use it in the future. Price was a bit high but it was the weekend.
Very clean and friendly service. Good location right near everything. The breakfast was really nice and included with stay. Coffee and tea was available 24 hours in lobby. Pool was inside and really nice. Definitely one of the nicest hotels I saw in the area.
Woderful! Everyone was so friendly, and so accommodating. Breakfast was amazing! and Everything was so CLEAN!!! I'm a huge stickler when it comes to a clean hotel, and this was great! Best way to celebrate getting engaged at Niagara Falls. They also have a HUGE indoor pool and a game room!
Stayed at another BW at another city the 4 previous nights. The BW at Niagara was inherently better and perfect for us. Room was clean and comfortable, Wi-Fi worked properly; biggest thing was the breakfast area was huge compared to our other stay previously at another BW. Plenty of room. Smelled clean. Extra lock on the door was comforting also
This hotel was very good to stay while at Niagara Falls, NY for business or pleasure. They had nice and clean rooms and good size of continental breakfast in the morning. Staff was very friendly. Few comments: Depending on your room location, you may have to walk a long walkway. TVs are good but remotes are not great. It is minor issue for us as we didn't go to watch TV anyway. Still worth to know!
Value for money hotel with ample parking. Checkin process is smooth, even late in evening. Good facilities including swimming pool. Free wifi & fairly good breakfast. Stayed for 2 nights. Good value for facilities provided. Close to restaurants & shopping area
We stayed here for 4 days, the only complaint that I may have is that they could have served some scrambled eggs instead of boiled eggs at lest two of those days, everything else was great. The gym is very nice along with the access to coffee 24 hours a day.
Service from staff was great. Room was above average . Breakfast lest desirable then used to at other Best Westerns. The cost of room was higher then the value of the room. We traveled to west coast past May better deals in La then here.
This was my family's first time to Niagara Falls, NY. This hotel was reasonably priced for a tourist town. The pool area is very nice and has an awesome non-slip surface. The rooms were as expected, with some small annoyances. The furnishes were nice, don't get me wrong. But...there was just a few things that screamed "owners were on a budget" to me. The bathroom counter was extremely small. The sink basin was large and the faucet was nice, but they weren't a good match. The faucet BARELY reached into the basin. Washing hands produced a small pool of water all over the already undersized counter every time. They really should have added a gooseneck faucet with that sink. Water pressure was a little light for the shower, but not bad. The free toiletries were literally the size of my thumb. For a family, it's just ridiculous. Now, with that being said....the service was great. You could call and ask for anything at any time - be sure to ask for extra shampoo! Free breakfast was nice and as expected - waffles, pastries, cereal, juice, bread, bagels, etc, even some hot sausage. The staff was constantly on hand making sure that all breakfast items were full and available. The entire place was clean and quiet. We had a room towards the back of the hotel and had multiple car haulers parked in the lot overnight. We never heard a thing through the windows. Slept like a log. I would definitely recommend the hotel, with the knowledge that the room is a little tight and the bathroom is a little on the economical side. For the location, it was a great value with just minor annoyances. Enjoy!
On the surface this place "looked" good at the height of tourist season. But what we actually got was unsatisfactory and bizarre. Neighborhood is sketchy. The Electricity didn't work in the rooms! The room stunk of mildew when we walked in. The sink drain was blocked. The A/C was old and loud. The shower curtain didn't keep the water in the tub and water got all over the floor and the mold was visible in the tub, amidst the grey tile! When we asked about peanut butter for breakfast the waitress told us that it was "nut free", but then I saw walnuts in the mini muffins. The bird poop on the Windows made for a lovely view of the parking lot. For nearly $240, I feel like it wasn't a good value. This is a cheap nasty hotel painted with a coat of lipstick for tourists.
We stayed here again at the beginning of June and it was another great stay.Great pool, breakfast, and staff. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Niagara Falls State Park is just about a 10 minute drive. Thank you Best Western.
For convenience, value, and great breakfast and pool, the Best Western Summit Inn is a wonderful place to stay. This was our second time at this facility and everything went smoothly. It is close to Niagara Falls, great restaurants, and is right next to a bowling alley with 24 drafts on tap.
The bed was very high to be able to get my 91 yr old mother into, as well as to get her safely out of without sliding on the floor. No towel bars to hang washcloth or towel, no closet in the room. No wheelchair was available to assist my mother. The ramp(incline) to get to the disabled room #102 was difficult for my mother to get to with a walker.
If you have trouble walking, be warned the hallways are long and, at least on the first floor, there are ramps (good for wheelchairs, not so good for hip/back problems walking uphill). Other than that, staff was pleasant, breakfast food was decent, room was clean, beds comfy, ac worked, and water was hot and plentiful. Pool looked nice, with two raised decks for watching the kids swim. We didn't use the pool, but that's a nice aspect of it. The front doors to the lobby are not automatic, but the doors around the side of the building are. We didn't realize this until we had muscled our stuff through the push/pull front doors, so maybe this tip will help someone :) Overpriced, imho, but I guess because of being in the Niagara falls area even though its actual location is on a strip-shopping center kind of street. There are plenty of chain restaurants in the area to grab a bite. There was an outlet right next to the bed that had no cover on it. We didn't bother to report it until checking out, so hopefully they took care of it. Not safe at all to have such a thing in a place where many families with young children stay.
This was a very nice hotel for the area. Recently remodeled rooms and plenty parking. Large breakfast area. Nice pool area. We took the trolley shuttle to Niagara Falls which wasn't that far away but due to the shuttle's route, took 30-45 minutes. Save on parking fees and the hotel gave out free passes. Nice perk.
My husband and I always stay at best western hotels because you can usually count on them to be good. I will say this one in Niagara Falls NY is pretty nice it has been updated and looks nice inside but it is the most expensive one I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was good too but not better then other ones so even though it is summertime I really believe $250.00 for a standard king room is really high. It ended up being over $300.00 with tax.
This is a surprise. The neighborhood doesn't look great, but the hotel is nice and clean. Rooms are larger and clean. Breakfast area was open, nice, clean, and had drinks and snacks available thru the day. The pool area was very nice but no hut tub. Flo, at the front counter, is very knowledgeable of the area and was a great help. I was satisfied with the price/value. I wish the grab and go bags were available all day, like they are at the BW Holland. Close to Everything!! Loved that!!
My room have a free coffee machine to make a cup of coffee. The breakfast is small place and the food noting else to pick them. The indoor pool in so small no room to swim and the fitness room is small nothing to pick to do loss weight.
This was a short visit for my sister and I to see the Falls again since we had not been to Niagara since we were Teens! The Hotel provided us with excellent service, a very comfortable, clean room and a delicious breakfast. We were extremely pleased with the Summit as it exceeded our expectations. Would stay there again.
So we just went to the states for some shopping and we have stayed at this hotel in the past, but it has changed, we liked it before the hotel offers breakfast, and still do, the receptionist been there for a while, looks miserable, the price of the hotel has increased why, they did some Reno's bit for a beat western not worth it. The elevator stinks, the breakfast layout needs to be re-planned, the waffle station should be on its own so people can get to the other food. Also maybe put the plates and forks on its own so that it's accessible, and seriously, we are trying to get out our food the employee cleaning the counters, really wait till no customer are away from the food and then wipe the counters. Also where the waffle area is the garbage can with a lid, wrong Choice waffle batter all over and the cups for the waffle batter too high to reach for kids. I think management should really have better look at the setup, I also called front desk and no one ever answers, I needed extra blanket and to find out what time check out is, good luck the miserable receptionist must of figured too much work to answer the phone. I really don't think we will go back One last thing spider webs all outside by the flower pots, not welcoming. The smell in the front lobby, isn't inviting. Thanks for waste of time we left will never come back unless there is noticeable change and worth the price. Your Reno's need a lot of work and so does the employees if you don't want to work go elsewhere.
I prefer a Hyatt or Holiday Inn but I'm on a budget now. I was impressed with this Best Western. It was very clean. I let the baby crawl around on the floor which I'm really funny about. The room seemed small but it was comfortable.
The staff really make this hotel outstanding. They will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. The amenities are top notch. The location is near many restaurants and a mere 10-15 minutes away from the falls. Breakfast was amazing and the staff made sure it was always well stocked. They even have a "to go" service if you want to grab a bite in a hurry. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The pool is huge and there is a nice area surrounding the pool so it never felt crowded. There were also plenty of chairs and tables to relax or set things on. The parking is plentiful and none were far away from an entrance.
Quiet, comfy beds, nicely updated décor, always love a mini frige, clean, everyone was pleasant. I did not have the breakfast as I was going to a breakfast meeting. The pool looked nice although I did not get to use it.Great location It is just 5 miles from the falls and shopping, I will definitely stay again when in the area, and would not hesitate to refer friends and/or family here.
Clean decent place about 20 minutes from the Falls. Close to Niagara international airport. Breakfast had good continental options. Rooms look ok. We stayed on the 1st floor. Noise levels were not too bad. Bathrooms can use some updating. Friendly front desk staff. Check in and check out were quick.
Stopped over before seeing the Falls. Fifteen minutes out from the action at the Falls. Nothing fancy, but pretty good accommodations. Good customer service, especially at the breakfast bar. We appreciated the hostess's recommendation for dinner.
Hotel recently renovated. Room updated, fresh very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast included a plus (eggs would be a nice addition). Indoor pool, fitness room and business center very nice. Staff top notch! Excellent Niagara location and value!
This hotel is about 10 minutes from the Falls and a good value during a holiday weekend. The check in clerk was great and the appearance of the hotel as you walk in is good. We did however experience some problems which were not resolved during our stay. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par. There were strands of hair in bathroom area and food particles on carpet near the bed. We also found it strange that a 3-4 star hotel would not have digital HD channels on their TV. We brought it to the attention of the front desk and the night manager came to our room but she was not helpful. After a few minutes of pressing a few buttons, she simply said "we don't have HD channels". We spent $125 a night and no HD. She responded "we spend $10,000 a month for cable TV and basically walked out of the room. Not a professional response from a manager. We will not stay there again
Best western hotels have never let me down. I don't believe in using expedia or hotels.com just to save few bucks. Their cancellation policies are terrible. The hotel we stayed at decent breakfast, clean rooms, nice pool. They should think about adding a hottrub or two. Gym equipment was very good. wifi speed was excellent and that is what kids care about. No one cares for what is on TV nowadays.
This hotel is in great shape with a very nice pool area. The room was very clean and the wifi worked. The free breakfast was very good with a couple of waffle makers and hard boiled eggs. There were also many other choices. I would stay here again.
Our family of (3) had a very nice stay at this hotel. This is an excellent hotel about 10 minutes from Niagara Falls. Looking back on our trip, we are glad we chose to stay away from downtown instead of right by the falls. The downtown area is very busy. Hotel is very clean, offers friendly service, and a nice continental breakfast is included. The pool area was great and also very clean and well kept. The negatives are very minimal and are not even worth mentioning in this review. If you are looking for a nice hotel to stay at by Niagara Falls, this is an excellent choice. We were given a nice AAA discount as well!
Booked in quickly after rejecting the Days Inn and it was surprisingly good. It is a motel style after all but couldn't really complain. Its not up market but clean, helpful staff, great pool, carpets were good, ice on tap, beds comfy and clean, breakfast adequate to start the day, unlimited coffee, decaf too. All in all great value.
Clean, comfortable affordable. Friendly staff ! Conveniently located. Just ask that no children be placed over your room if you want a good nights sleep. The beds where very comfortable and evidently "jump-able" :)
Nicely remodeled hotel within 10 min of the American Falls. We did a Grey line tour where a tour bus picked us up to the falls and returned us back after the tour. It was good to do because they got to park closer to locations at each stop. Breakfast was okay and they had a good size room set up with lots of tables and chairs. Easy check in and check out. Many restaurants in the area and the front desk Has a llist of recommended places to eat!
Older and dated facility, but clean rooms, breakfast and fair price. Do not expect anything upscale. This is a good value for those who want to be close (7 miles) to the Falls without paying the price. It is a straight shot to the Falls from the highway in front of the motel. Good for families as well as couples.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Not sure why fitness room doesn't open until 8, as we needed to be up and leaving before that time, but it does have a treadmill, elliptical, bike, and multiple weight machines.
Driving down Niagara Blvd is depressing. It is like Radiator Springs from the movie Cars. But this hotel sticks out. Very well kept, clean, nice front desk. Rooms are right for a short visit.. Prices were right as well..
This stay turned out be enjoyable. The owner checked us in. everything was handled smoothly rooms were comfortable but I thought they needed a little more light. Lay out of bath was a little awkward but after a little time we were able to work with it. When we asked for a recommendation for eating they gave us a prepared list. We this found a couple of restaurants that were excellent. Thank you.. .
It was fantastic. The cleanliness was spot on. The staff was pleasant, courteous, The hotel was 7 minutes away from destination and we were given great instructions. When it came till to leave THEY went on the internet and got the directions, printed them out and went over them with us.
This motel is well-above average for motels along the major tourist routes in US Niagara Falls. While not as close to the major tourist attractions as many, it if an easy, short drive to the Falls area – and there are numerous shopping opportunities in the immediate area. The price was fair, given our visit was during peak season. The continental breakfast is very limited – the usual bread/cereal products, boiled eggs, and small sausages. The room was clean and attractive. My only complaint is the lacks of accessible feature for persons with mobility challenges. The front door is not an automatic door, requiring the visitors to open the door by hand – rather surprising these days. The rooms are aligned along a single long hallway, with two awkward ramps, with only a couple of outside doors. My room, despite my request for an accessible location, was located at the very end of the hallway. There is only one small handhold in the tub and none for the toilet. The beds are also surprisingly high – I am 6'2” and my feet could not reach the floor when sitting on the mattress. This could be an unnecessary problem for a shorter person even with good mobility.
This hotel is very reasonable priced for the area and close to the falls and plenty of restaurants. I did not use the pool or any other equipment. The hotel is at the end of a renovation project rooms are updated clean and larger compared to other hotels in the area
Stayed here last week for the first time. Room was immaculate and the pool was a plus. Breakfast wasn't very appealing, but it was ok. I would have liked some eggs and fruit. Very friendly staff and close to restaurants. I would stay here again because I liked the pool.
It was located next to many restaurants and was easy to find. It has 2 queen size beds and was clean. The kids loved the indoor pool. We recommend it was a good deal for the great rate. And it was only a couple miles from Niagara Falls state park.
My wife and I booked a king bed at this hotel while staying overnight in Niagara Falls NY. About a week prior, the Desk Clerk called me and advised that some of the rooms near the room I had booked were being refurbished and she had concerns that the noise level may not be to my satisfaction and If I wouldn't mind being booked into another part of the hotel with 2 queen beds. I of course had no objection. Upon our arrival she advised me that the refurbishing had taken place and she was able to book me back in my original choice of room. She also made some very helpful suggestions as to where we could dine that evening. Our whole experience at this hotel was very pleasant with a great breakfast being had the next morning. A great time!!
I'm not a fancy guy and really, our goal was to get away, go to the Falls, and just browse. The one great plus here is that the trip to the said waterfalls is quick and painless. There is plenty of shopping in the area should you choose to do so. Even thought the hotel property sits on a busy road, the room was quiet, comfortable, and in good repair. This place is built like a tank. The pool was clean and warm. The beds were given 5 stars by young kids - so maybe they were just exhausted (GOAL) but I believe them. Yes, there is a bowling alley next door but that did not offend me. There are also some room construction projects going on, but really not excessively early in the morning. We left by 9AM both days we stayed to go have fun, so I can't speak for any noises later in the morning. Just be aware, there is definitely some interior remodeling going on. The hotel staff is generally friendly. Some do speak broken English, but that's okay. We never had to ask for anything. Shower was good, breakfast was good, and the parking is safe and secure. Well lit and in good repair. Because of that, I'd recommend this property as a good value.
Best hotel of our trip so far. Clean rooms and very comfortable. Great pool. Large and very clean. The breakfast room was very clean and the food area was kept clean as we ate. Someone was always checking to be sure that there was plenty of food and coffee. Best coffee of the trip so far also, including truck stops and restaurants.
We have been staying at the Summit for a number of years and always find the staff most welcoming. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfortable. The grounds are kept beautifully. Close to great shopping and other attractions. Would not stay anywhere else.
This hotel was perfect for us. It was very clean, staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast has good variety. Waffles, sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, toast, cereal and fruit. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Best Western as a great place to stay.
Stayed her with my family whilst on a fly drive holiday across New York State The hotel was located just a short distance from the main area of Niagara Falls. Good location as it was not too far to drive after visiting the Falls, although during the day there were planes overhead these stopped at night and the hotel was very quiet. The hotel had good facilities including a swimming pool and laundry.
Breakfast just O.K. Would have liked warm eggs with my sausage and toast. Rooms under repair. Why put guests on 2nd floor over rooms being worked on. Tile being hammered out, drilling, tile saws and more.Should have complained but would have to repack and i'm sure they would not comp me at all for the inconvience.
Pool is great. Kids loved it. Easy commute to Niagara Falls. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast included, although don't expect any scrambled eggs or bacon. Usually sausage and make-your-own waffles, plus cereal and other breads and muffins.
My wife and I stay at this hotel very often and we are always extremely satisfied. Money well spent and great value. A great start to a long trip, or just a weekend shopping getaway. A nice pool area and early morning breakfast are a definite plus when we travel!
Best WEstern is known for being excellent. WE have always enjoyed our stay except this trip/ The "breakfast" consisted of cold sausages and ice cold hard boiled eggs (?) The waffle machine was broke and either burned or didn't cook waffles Also, several smaller motels had offered free shuttle service to the Casino and to the FAlls. Why didn't Best Western offer that? It is big enough to offer that service. This was a disappointing event for me.
We had 17 in our group. I have no complaints about this hotel. We had a great time in Niagara Falls. The kids loved the indoor pool. The free breakfast was a nice start to the day. The front desk employees were always friendly and helpful.
The 2 bed double room was nicely decorated. However, it was too small and not enough space to move around. Need soap dish in the sink area. Enough to eat at breakfast, but please provide real eggs, as the artificial eggs provided is the only let down.
In town with husband to visit Niagara Falls late arrival was greeted with a smile , quick check in . Clean room , a little dated , but clean. Close to major highway easy access to major attractions and good food. Have not gotten a chance to do breakfast nor the pool since we just got in , will return to update post :)
The hotel was close to shopping and was quiet . Breakfast was very good and the area of the meal was clean and bright. Rooms were clean and updated, the bathrooms were also clean and well maintained . The beds were firm and clean.
This hotel is in a great location close to border shopping and restaurants. Compared to the motels in the surrounding area this hotel is on the higher end in terms of quality and amenities. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. The room is a smaller size but was clean and seemed to have had some updates. The wifi was a great bonus and no issues with its function. The kids loved the pool it was clean, warm and salt water which was nice. Like many other hotels the pool towels were very small and so I would bring my own towels next time. The breakfast area was clean, well stocked, but would have like to see some healthier choices of bread and cereal. They did have fruit and yogurt as a healthier choice. We would return here as it was a great deal for this property, we are Hilton members so this was our second time at a best western and we were pleased.
Pleasant stay. Loved the pool. Enjoyed the breakfast. Best sleep I've had in months!!! My family slept very well, too. Check-in was great, quick, efficient, professional, friendly, informative....Pizza from Budzby was good, delivery time reasonable, didn't hear traffic from street even though it is a very busy thoroughfare
Less than what I am used to with a Best Western. Breakfast was sub-par. At 12:31 another guest had been given our room key and tried to open our door. The clerk in the morning said "oh that was a funny story...you were given the wrong room at check in....a regular guest was given the same room key" Not Funny at all at that hour. No compensation, no mention of additional points, nothing other than to say that it was funny. Very disappointed. We were on a visit to Niagara University - if my child decides to go there, it could mean many more visits over 4 years....I would have to seriously think about staying there again because of this incident. Overall, it was just OK.
I have stayed at this location with my wife many times. Never been disappointed and very friendly staff. Property well maintained and very clean. Beds are very comfortable. They also have a great breakfast.
Staff at this hotel care so little and are so not helpful that it might have been a better experience to sleep in my car. It sucked big time and you can tell that the management of this facility also wasn't overly interested in guests having a good experience. As they say, excrement flows down hill
Excellent and friendly staff, clean rooms, great hotel location for shopping and attractions. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast makes a great start to the day. Pool is very clean and a perfect size for family fun.
We stayed here recently for 1 night while on a shopping trip. Great service; receptionist was very helpful. Great room with a really nice firm bed. Very good continental breakfast with waffles, sausage, and others.AND the pool was an added bonus.Very convenient to shopping malls.
Good: staff, bed, pillows, bed sheets, breakfast, carpets, other fixtures, pool & gym Bad: heater (noisy), ceiling damaged, bath tub no stopper, no whirlpool/sauna The hotel is almost perfect but requires to improve on the bad or missing important pieces to complete the comfort during the stay.
We stay at this property every time we are in the Niagara Falls, NY area. It is consistently good and clean. Staff is friendly. Good BW breakfast. Nice indoor pool. Close to shopping. They have done quite a bit of updating since last year. Our bathroom was totally refreshed. There was evidence of a roof leak in the bulkhead above the TV - that still needs attention.
My husband stayed here for 2wks on a work related trip. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was close to restaurants and activities. This hotel was a great stay and would highly recommend. My husband was very pleased overall....we are planning a family trip back to this hotel in the summer. Only 2 cons .... breakfast would be better if it started at 6am for those who are early risers and would of liked to of had a small microwave in room.
Clean room. Great breakfast. Especially love the waffles. 24 hour coffee and tea. Prox card entry key. Close to mall, restaurants, and everything in the area including the airport. Quiet. Lovely pool. Good climate control in room.
Stayed for 2 nights, room spacious and clean, good air conditioning, good room service, unfortunately got a 2 double bed instead of a king, breakfast was ok but repetitive on the second day, got to make our own waffles with golden syrup, yessss :)
This hotel has undergone a good renovation. That includes all areas of the facility. Great outdoor parking that is free. A free breakfast buffet is served each morning. The breakfast is your typical free hotel breakfast but served in a proper room. Has a big indoor pool for the kids. I would stay here again.
My family recently stayed at this hotel for 3 days starting on March 13, 2016. I was very disappointed by numerous things. First many of the outlets did mot work and it was hard to charge our electronic devices. I was happy that this hotel have breakfast, until I saw it. I was very disappointed in the egg paaties. Most hotel has a scrambled egg, not a round very thin patty. Finally one day when came back ro our room after housekeeping cleaned the room. I was very grossed out to see patches of blood on the top cover on both of the bed. We had to call the front desk and ask for more linen. I was glad rhat it was our last night. The front desk staff was not very friendly or inviting. Many of my other family members stayed at the Four Points hotel and it was much nicer for only about $5.00 more. I wish we stayed there.
Good value, clean and modern. Have stayed there a few times and always have a good experience. Excellent breakfast, which includes protein. Easy access to the room I always get my room preference. Will stay there on my next trip.
Good place to stay. Close to Niagara Airport, they have no shuttle, but a taxi is around $6. You can Park,Sleep and Fly here. Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. Hotel front desk staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms are reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet was shall I say, "really gross".
I spent a night here and thought it was a very well rounded hotel. I rarely swim but I had a sore back so i floated in the pool a half hour and it was great . I had the free breakfast and it was pretty good there was d.i.y. fresh waffles, lots of yogurts, bagels, fruits and cereals etc. I walked the 200 feet to the bowling alley, bar and restaurant and had some wings and appetizers- all very good. I was also very impressed with the location for shopping.
Clean and fair price for the rooms. No adjoin rooms available. Service at front desk was not great! Pool was good Need extra blankets in rooms Close to shopping and restaurants. Parking free and close to doors
Good service . Nice breakfast . Very clean . The linen , bedding , pillows , mattress , towels are all excellent quality and well maintained .We will return . Well located near all restaurants , stores and airport .
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times when flying out and returning to niagara NY airport. Always a great experience.Staff are always helpful especially considering the arrival and departure times
worth the money except for the water pressure. Beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was nice. Hotel was nice and clean with no problems with noise. Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so-so.
The Staff were friendly, mild nod for greetings. The rooms were normal. Not the cleanest I have experienced. Hair in the sinks, and on the hair dryer. (Glad I didn't have a black light.) My alarm clock didn't work and when I asked assistance in the matter, it was deflected and not taken seriously. ( Yay cell Phone Tech) The Chairs in the two different rooms were ready to collapse. The breakfast buffet was good for being included. The fresh waffles were a nice surprise. I cannot speak to the price comparison for the area, but there has to be better for the price.
Our hotel was clean, neat, and nicely decorated. Staff were polite, friendly and professional. We had a wonderful room with a clean and comfortable bed. Internet access was speedy and easily accessible. There were restaurants and a mall close by for shopping and dinner. All in all a great getaway spot that we will use again.
Stayed here on way to another town, near eateries, they have some close by eating placed and other attractions. Pool was enjoyable, although no hot tub. Breakfast was the normal links and flat eggs, with cereal and pastries. Enjoyed all day coffee and juice. Bowling next door, very good pricing on Sunday nights.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the affordability of this hotel! My family and I stayed there for three nights during my son's hockey tournament at Niagara University. My first impression was how clean the bathroom and room itself was never mind the hallways and common areas. The breakfast is advertised as "continental" however, there were many hot selections such as waffles, eggs and sausages. All the breakfast items were really great! Although the hot food and pastries are removed, the breakfast room is open 24 hrs. for microwave use, hot water, etc. We were on the first floor and had easy access to our vehicle at all times. The games in the game room area are very reasonably prices (25 cents for Ms. PacMan) as well as the snacks in the vending machine and the guest laundry facilities. The pool is well maintained and the location is only 5 or 6 miles to Niagara Falls. There are many amenities in the area. I am very busy and never take time to write reviews, however, I was so happy with the price of this very clean and convenient hotel, I felt it necessary to give back what I could.
Best hotel check in/out that I have had. Super friendly staff, easy to talk to and very helpful. Great quality in the room, accessibility to everything. Enjoyed breakfast that is part of the room. Room was quiet, easy to get to. Nice big TV for viewing. Excellent facilities such as, pool, workout room and snack/drink machines.
Hotel and room very clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Indoor pool, fitness center and business center convenient. Less than one mile from Niagara Falls airport and excellent park/fly/stay value. Basic breakfast buffet included. Comfortable beds.
Stayed here for one night for a weekend shopping trip with my sister and kids. I decided to book this hotel since I had some leftover gift cards I wanted to use. Because my princess sister was indecisive I kept changing the room type. I initially booked a best value rate that had cancellation available. Somehow when I changed this reservation to a different room type I didn't notice that now the best value rate was now non refundable (I just assumed it would've been the same). Anyhow, eventually I settled on the suite (2 queens and a King bed) since my sis insisted on her own bed. The hotel looked pretty empty when we arrived. It was a Friday night, and one of the colder weekends of the winter. Not many people at the outlet either (only a short drive away). The woman at the front desk checked me in and asked for a credit card. Since this is typical I didn't think anything of it. When she handed me a statement of my receipt I inquired about how I could get the gift cards applied to my bill, and this is when she informed me of that rate I booked. At that time I was pretty positive that I didn't book an advance purchase rate, but any rate she refused to refund the card and process the gift cards. I wasn't demanding or rude, but I felt I was dealt with in a very condescending manner. Honestly, how much would it have really costed them to process the refund and keep a satisfied customer. Ultimately, it was my error for not double checking and just assuming the policy was the same since the rate type was the same, but it could've been handled in a nicer way. I later found out she was a manager! On to the room. It was on the second floor with a shared balcony overlooking the pool. It was huge! It was just one large room with the 3 beds in it, but the kids were happy to have the extra floor space. The room was clean and in good condition. There was even a sofa in the room, but no desk just a small table. For a room that size at $117/nt it was a decent value. But with the poor exchange rate (CDN$) it didn't feel like such a great deal, especially since I was paying out of pocket now instead of using gift cards. The kids enjoyed the pool, and it was nice being able to see down from the room (luckily my sister was happy to go down to the pool with them while I got some quiet, alone time). ;) Complimentary wifi was pretty fast and no issues here. Breakfast the next morning was pretty no frills. About 3 different types of sugary cereal, some different flavored fruit yogurts and oatmeal packets. They also had apples and oranges, plus sausage and those scrambled egg rounds. There were only two waffle makes, but one was out of service so that created a ridiculous line so the kids didn't bother to get them. The pastries were the typical dry, packaged kind. Some mini muffins, and two types of danishes, plus bagels. My sister had the oatmeal and I brought my own packet oatmeal from home, and of course the kids opted for the pastries and a scrambled egg. The egg was overly salted so they didn't finish it. I'm generally not a fan of hotel breakfasts and this is probably the first time I didn't go to Original Pancake house for breakfast (was on a diet at the time). Personally, I generally find these hotel breakfasts mediocre, but I guess depending on what you like to eat in the morning you may not mind. We had an early lunch at Cheesecake factory so that made up for the bad hotel breakfast. The only other issue we had was that our tv wasn't working, and when we tried to turn it on the light would flash like it was turning on but never did and kept making an annoying clicking sound over and over. We eventually pulled the plug since we couldn't sleep. I didn't bother to let front desk know until the morning, since it wasn't a big deal to me. The woman in the morning was very pleasant and said she would let maintenance know about the problem. Overall, it was an average stay at best. Personally, I would not stay here again. The value to price paid ratio wasn't great. There are a lot better hotels near Boulevard mall and Walden. I almost booked the new Home2suites by Hilton with points, but again since I had the gift cards I thought I'd use them up (funny it didn't work out that way anyway). I travel quite a bit, and I'm generally not hard to please as long as service is good and rooms are clean, but this property just fell short.
This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. It's clean and provides a nice place for short stay. Their breakfast area is spacious, choices are abundant. There are two self-served waffle makers, (may need to line up to get your own because each takes 2 &1/2 minutes to make ) syrup available ( just no whipped cream nor icing sugar though). There are also muffin, danish, white bread, whole wheat bread, English muffin, bagel. Toaster available. Choice of cereals. Coffee & Tea available. Bed is comfortable, the heater is quite loud and noisy. In order to have a good night sleep, you may have to turn it off but then it will be too cold.
The employees at this hotel are the best and this location is very close to the Falls without paying the Falls prices. Lot's of good restaurants in the area also. If you want good selections just ask the front desk staff they are very informative of the area.
This hotel is nested between & extremely dilapidated motel & a bowling ally. It is a family owned and operated hotel & you would never know it by how unpleasant the front desk manager Kristina speaks to you. She is extremely condescending and rude. There was a problem with the reservation, she did not treat us as a paying guest, rather like a huge inconvenience.,SHE LACKS RESPECT!!! The room had no outside window: instead it had a sliding door to a balcony over looking the pool and shared by 3 other rooms, YUK!!! The lighting over the mirror was dark and dingy: making it hard to apply make up & for my husband it was hard to see shaving.the breakfast was of lower quality than of Best Westerns we had stayed at. We would not recommend this hotel at all and due to our experience with the front desk. Due to this horrific experience we will NEVER stay at another Best Western again.
Stayed 1 night at the BW Summit Inn recently. The room was recently renovated and was clean. The property was clean and nice sized. Staff were generally nice. The only minor issues include the two front glass doors. They were too close together, where if you open one door the the other would bang into your or your luggage way too fast. These were not sliding doors either. The doors were also not handicap friendly, if this is important to you. The other issue was that the lighting outside for parking lot on the side of building was not as good as it can be. As I was unable to find a spot in front of hotel, I parked on side of building. Lighting could have been better.
Stayed for one night to spend for a weekend break as well as for a Christmas shopping for a better deal. The pool is great but would be better if a hot tub, shower/dressing room, and a spa are available. The complimentary hot/cold breakfast was good. It's unfortunate to witness that a Female Room Attendant (FRA) was badmouthing loudly a male housekeeping staff without any considerations to the guests passing by along the hallway. Any issues could have been better handled. The FRA was calm and polite despite the insults made by the FRA. I heard it's a matter of simple management or approach. The situation occurred was disgusting and not acceptable.
Clean, and comfortable. Close to the outlet malls and the Niagara Falls Airport. Breakfast was ok - nothing exciting but plentiful. Nicer than many of the other places in the area! Lots of restaurants nearby
very clean room and helpful staff on front desk. close to airport and only 5 dollars cab ride to airport and very prompt when called free Wi-Fi free breakfast buffet cold cereal, eggs, waffles, tea coffee and fresh fruit
If you're flying out of Niagara Falls NY airport, this is a great park and fly destination. The airport is literally 5 min away by cab. Hotel is tidy with a nice pool and close to several restaurant options.
I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past for work reasons. I reacantly returned to see that they have transformed it inside and out. fresh paint and newly update rooms with pleasant and charming colors. I most definatly will return.
My sisters and I were very pleased with this hotel. All staff were friendly, room was perfect, very clean and welcoming. The mattress very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, a great assortment to choose from and food was constantly refilled. Location was perfect as I needed to be in between Lockport and Niagara Falls.
This is a very good hotel that is close to shops, coffee shops, and the Fashion Outlet Mall. Only about 10 minutes to the Mall on the local transit bus. It is clean/very helpful and courteous staff. The breakfast is a hot breakfast, though it advertises continental breakfast. So that is very good. would highly recommend this hotel, at Summit Inn whether you have a car or rely on the buses.
Decent hotel for a decent sleep. Comfortable beds. Dining room was dirty and the ceiling tiles were disgusting just needs to be cleaned or replaced. Vacuum carpet after people leave their tables. Front desk service was very good
Amazing value for the money; nice breakfast; great staff and location close to outlet mall; Only issue some noises coming from other rooms during the night; however, not a deal breaker; probably the largest breakfast area I've seen in any hotel that we have stayed at
It is obvious management is continually striving to improve this property. We have been here several times, and the quality of the hotel gets better with each visit. Our room has been re-decorated, and it is very nicely done. The bed was very comfortable, and I would like to have it in my home. It appears the breakfast area has been expanded, and there was no waiting for a table, which is a common problem in most other hotels. We have stayed at this hotel, by my count, seven times, and the experience keeps getting better. I did not rate this hotel as excellent, because, in my mind, there isn't a hotel in the world that rates excellent. This hotel is as close to perfect as it can be. Well done.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, we were able to check in a little early, the room was satisfactory and the staff was very helpful with directions. We did have breakfast each morning and it was both healthy and filling.
Have stayed at this property a number of times as we like the location and proximity to shopping venues. You can see investment being made to the property in the guest room décor and enhanced security measures for entering the building. However, investment in staff would be something that should be considered. Colleagues that I encountered during my stay were disengaged and went out of their way to not make eye contact or even to say hello.
The staff are great, very friendly and informative. They are renovating and the rooms look great. The new beds and pillows were so comfy that you just did not even want to leave them. Kudos on great beds! The swimming pool is clean and sparkly and very peaceful. the included breakfast was everything that you would need. We come back here every year would not think of going anywhere else. They are really taking very good care of this hotel.
Hotel was just fine. The breakfast was nice - plenty to eat, a nice variety. Hotel was neat and clean, friendly staff. Location was good to get to the falls and many other events. Very easy to find. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area.
Nice rooms clean and tidy Got there late after 1 in the morning lol with no problems checking in staff were helpful and still awake the bed was nice there was free wifi. good shower nice and hot good size car park breakfast was ok.
had a late check in. staff were tired but friendly and helpful. visited family before heading to our double queen bed room. spacious enough for us to use our pack n play for our 18 month old. when he finally went to bed I found blood stains on one of the bed top sheets. it was late so I did not call service just told front desk in the morning. they were apologetic and gave us a discount on the room. she was very helpful. breakfast was good I enjoyed the sausage and waffles there was a nice variety of food for us to enjoy. we will be back next year when we make our yearly visit.
My wife and I came to Niagara Falls from the Pacific Northwest for the first time.... We checked into this hotel based on Tripadvisor ratings, location, and price... This was a nice hotel a few minutes from the falls, out of the hustle of downtown. There are many restaurants, Sams Club, grocery stores, and Walmart nearby.. The room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. The only downfall was we could hear the people talking in the room next to us, and rude people letting their kids run up and down the hall yelling at 8:00 in the morning. I understand this is not the fault of the hotel, and not a deal breaker for us... If ever in the area, we would absolutely stay here again.
Our only issue was children running the hallways and not much staff could do about that. Otherwise great friendly staff at front desk, very clean and a good breakfast selection. Other guests seemed pleased as well, did not hear to see any negativity.
The staff very nice. They had a nice sense of humor. Hubby likes that. Room was comfortable and clean. It was relatively close to Niagara Falls. It was also close to a number of restaurants. We booked at another Best Western and was somewhat easy to process.
Room was clean and comfortable. AC/heater worked fine. In room refrigerator. Close enough to Niagara Falls. Nice free breakfast with make your own waffles, sausage, eggs etc. Only complaint... extremely low flow shower.
Always friendly , clean and fresh. Love going here they remember you from previous visit .. Close to all amenities and shopping. Swiimming pool great, rooms very clean and updated. Breakfast amazing , staff awesome.
Warmly greeted, room was really clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent. The breakfast was good, with lots of room to sit and eat. Bacon would have been a good addition. Overall a very nice place to stay.
I paid $597 a night but it's worth it because I can't find any room in town that night so I paid. Breakfast staff was very nice and front desk was helpful. Next time I will stay again but I will book in advance..........................thank you
Not sure what I was expecting, but it served it's purpose. Beds weren't the best but it was somewhere to sleep. Location is good if traveling to the falls. Parking lot filled up fairly quickly. Fire alarm went off very early in the morning. It was a false alarm, but we were never given the all clear.
great staff easy check in easy check out very very very clean hotel great beds will all ways stay here great price great area close to all shopping great parking close too room we were late checking inn but had no problem our room was held with no deposit
We stayed here one night. Our receptionist was great and additionally gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant . The motel appears to have been recently renovated to a very good, modern standard. The decor is lovely, our room was very well furnished and equipped, very clean and had very comfortable beds. Wifi is fast and included in the room rate. Whilst not on Main Street the motel is well located, not far from downtown. There are numerous restaurants in the area and outlet shopping. Breakfast was served in a large airy room. Perhaps not as great a choice as some other best Western's but more than adequate. This motel is very good value.
Nice and cozy hotel within driving distance from the Falls and multiple restaurants and cafes. Staff is extremely friendly and carrying - we have had a great experience there, including quiet area, great breakfast and very affordable price!
Recently spent 2 nights here at the Best Western Summit Inn. Friendly, attentive staff, clean rooms and delicious hot breakfast. Great "Mom and Pop" authentic Italian restaurants close-by. Don't get caught-up in the hype by the Falls. Great Value!
We used the suite, we had 6 adults but could have comfortably fit 8. it had 1 separate bedroom w/ a King size bed. and the main room had 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. Very clean and the hot breakfast (eggs, sausage) was not bad. Withing 12 minutes to the falls.
Excellent helpful staff that all were open and friendly. They went above and beyond to insure my wife and and I enjoyed our mini vacation at the “Falls” The breakfast was an added plus and actually delicious.
What an ugly place to put a motel. But it is close to the airport. Motel itself is in great shape. Looks good from the outside. Even better on the inside. Front desk people were wonderful. Very well informed on the area. Where to go for everything. How to get there. What not to do (don't drive into Canada if only going to Niagara Falls. Walk across the bridge!) I would give this place a 10 if possible.
Spent one night at Best Western on way to Niagara Falls. We were very surprised to see the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. Beds were VERY comfortable. Bathrooms were clean - no grunge or mildew. Rooms were nicely appointed with flat screen TV and air conditioning that didn't wake you when it turned on. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The Continental breakfast was more than I was expecting. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the facility and would have no hesitation about staying there again or recommending to friends.
Nice clean rooms and not far from attractions. Staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast ok but not up to Best Western standers in the past. We ask about Trolley system and were given tickets for the day unfortunately when we took it down town and then was ready to get back on they never showed back up and was told they ran stops about every hour waited 2 hours and ended up getting cab back to Hotel at a cost of $25.00 should have drove and parked. Not the Hotels fault.
Overall, the hotel was nice, the room was clean & large. However, my wife's son is in a powered wheel chair. The hotel did not have automatic doors so that we could get him in easily. The breakfast was good. Would I stay there again, yes. I jsut wish they would upgrade the doors.
Stayed 2 nights, about 6 miles from the Falls, very friendly and helpful staff! The room rate was $88. I felt the parking lot was safe and well lite. Breakfast was OK, the usual. WiFi was weak. Restaurants, shopping and bowling alley next to motel. I would recommend this motel to anyone. If your a smoker not much place to smoke. I normally travel on a motorcycle and I would feel safe to park in lot, no covered parking. Hope this helps.
Pros: Friendly staff. Easily accessible. Good locality. Good food though the options were less. Cons: Not sure if the linens are changed when a new guest check in. One of the bed in our room had dirty sheet and blanket.
