We arrived very late at the hotel. We are extremely tired and hungry. We went straight to the restaurant and we found everything what we needed at this moment. A very dirty hotel, hair everywhere, poorly cleaned windows, and stains on my bed. On top of that, the noise from the street is terrible since it's located right in front of a main avenue. I do not recommend it. One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at.

We had a pleasant stay at Best Western Darbar Delhi. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing place to unwind after a busy day exploring the city. The breakfast was decent, though it could benefit from a bit more variety. The location is convenient for getting around Delhi, although the road outside is quite busy at times.

Best Western Darbar is a small hotel from the Best Western chain, located in Paharganj / Main Bazaar, directly on a very busy main road. Thanks to an interior room without windows, our stay was surprisingly quiet, which we appreciated a lot. The room itself was functional, cozy and well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable, among the most comfortable we had during our trip. The room offers air conditioning, a relatively large TV, and a nicely designed bathroom with a modern washbasin. The shower is rather small, and while good materials are used (as often in India), the finishing could be better – still acceptable overall. The breakfast room in the basement was a pleasant surprise: beautifully designed, cozy and inviting, far nicer than expected for a hotel of this size. Breakfast is served as a buffet with fresh omelettes on request. While it does not reach the level of larger hotels, it is very good considering the size and staffing of the hotel. A special mention goes to Ahish Daya from the breakfast area. He is very friendly, attentive and genuinely caring, always keeping everything clean and assisting guests when needed. We also appreciated the possibility to store part of our luggage at the hotel during our Rajasthan tour, which was handled professionally. Regarding late check-out: While a late check-out was initially approved, it required a room change around noon, which caused some inconvenience as we had to repack and reorganize our belongings. Later it became clear that a late check-out until 5:00 pm is charged at 50% of the room rate, and after 5:00 pm the full room rate applies. This significantly affects the price-performance ratio, especially considering that comparable hotels (including ibis in Bangalore) offered better overall value. Overall, the hotel offers comfortable beds, a nice breakfast area and friendly staff, but the late check-out policy and pricing should be considered carefully.

This is a small bw property, and the location is very busy. But the pricing was reasonable at a time of pooja and diwali. We took the two bedroom suite, where the rooms are a little smaller than usual. But they do have bigger rooms, we were in a medical trip so we needed connecting rooms. Their cuisines are amazing, the chef, the restaurant crew. Oh and all of the restaurant crew were amazing. Satyam helped us with booking, Ankit helped us carry my mom in wheelchair, Farhan and Vandana helped us extend our stay and although they had a booking for the extended days they managed the other guest by offering him suitable alternative. Kim went out of his way to send a guard with me to go to pharmacy for emergency medicine at midnight. They sent us breakfast to room for my mom who's a patient and could not move, stored our ice gel packs in their deep fridge, sent us ice multiple times a day. Although their food isn't most suited to our palate it was okay. The room service, cleaning and maintenance guys were very nice, they asked us everything before taking as junk, any paper or anything. This was a pleasant 7 day trip!

We had an excellent stay at the Best Western Dabar. The hotel was an oasis of peace in Delhi. The rooms were luxuriant and quiet with excellent showers and AC. We loved the staff in the buffet, especially Anshu, chef Vinder and Wortmal, who made sure every experience was wonderful and they looked out for our children and made sure they were well taken care of. We will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely horrible & terrible Room Service with pathetic thick Chapatis which is never expected from a Best Western Standard. They are not trained enough to check whether they require to serve the basic Cuteleries along with the food. Till the time the cutleries reaches the room tonight after 20 minutes the food is bloody cold.They don't even bother to pick the calls on time to know what the guest is having a request & forces the guest again to call the reception for the same to request for the cutleries.The Room Service really lacks a lot of training. Soup spoons were given, where there was no order for soup. But 2nd time also there were not a single Fork given so that the guest can have the food comfortably. High time to pull up the socks for basic training to maintain the minimum standards required. Absolutely unexpected from a Best Western hotel.Simply pathetic experience. My Room No -306 - todays order was 3 portion Chapati, 1 Aloo Jeera & 1 Kadhai Murg. Everytime the Kadhai Murg comes with a different taste . God knows how it changes. I had ordered the Kadhai Murg thrice during my last & this visit which is within a span of 9 days only. Pls take serious care for improving the service standards.

Reasons why to stay: 1. Safety: My friend and I (F) stayed for four nights and we never felt unsafe, it is located right next to the road that is lined with hotels. If you you go out during safe hours its better, 2. Cleanliness: spotless, would recommend. Clean towels, sheets, bathroom and everything 3. Location: pretty much accessible to a lot of places like, Connought, New Delhi Station, R K Ashram Metro station, not very far from Airport (30min drive) 4: Breakfast: Dominantly veg, Milk and cereals, fruits, Lassi, shake, juice, tea, coffee, yogurt, Idli + south Indian food items, potato fries, paratha, egg etc 5. Staff: Friendly and kept their distance weren't ‘into your face' type. Front desk was open 24x7. To note: The double occupancy room is the same size as an average master bedroom size I think I have covered it all.

The hotel is in an excellent location and the staff is very friendly and helpful in everything the food is great as well as the rooms are beautiful and very clean. I wish the mention regarding Ms. Vandana as she really helped us in everything possible way she could as we were in a difficult situation going back and forth to Kashmir. Until we got back to the hotel again she really supported us in everything and we got to the hotel again. And stayed in the hotel until we are able to return back to Sri Lanka

Very nice hotel in a rather chaotic and noisy street, an oasis of calm. Lovely room and bathroom. Breakfast was good but waiter rather indifferent. Early take-out breakfast provided for early airport departure. Very comfortable and clean.

Absence of breakfast, lunch and dinner facility inside the hotel. They are giving USED TOWELS after servicing the room. Ambience of the hotel is not good. Very poor service. For tea they are charging Rs 130/- per cup . I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Booked 2 connecting rooms due to having small children. We were told that there would be Queen beds in both rooms and a restaurant at the hotel. We checked in and were told that the restaurant has been under refurbishment for the last few weeks and is not open. Why could we not be informed of this before. We were told that there would be 2 queen beds in the rooms. The beds were only doubles. One of the showers was blocked and the water overflooded and went all over the bathroom floor. We told the receptionist about all this. The surrounding area is very busy, congested and hectic if you've got kids. The local taxi driver told us not to go out at night. It's not safe. I know its not the hotels problem but we were told that the area (Paharganj) is a red light area and there's alot of drugs and thieving going on around there. None of this was mentioned in any reviews of the hotel or area. We had booked and paid for 4 nights. After 1 night we decided to check out because we felt uncomfortable with the area and the hotel facilities especially with the restaurant being out of order and having young children. No refund was offered because we had booked the hotel through a third party.
We unexpectedly stumbled across this great hotel after our original booking with a hotel cancelled 1 hour before arrival. It exceeded expectations with fantastic family connecting rooms, clean and spacious enough. They accommodated us very well for a last minute deal.
It's a very excellent hotel. The staffs are amazing and attentive. They took good care of us All the staff are cooperative Thank you best western maharani Bagh. It was a very good experience to be there with my wife Restuarant Hostess Anju took special care for us.

This hotel is located in a very busy area. There is a constant traffic jam to come and go from here. Walking around is not possible because the sidewalks are filled with everything but comfortable space to walk. There is constant honking on the road so it is not pleasant to walk more than a few minutes. If you stay here, you need to plan on extra time and getting a taxi to go elsewhere. The hotel is simple but clean and well-maintained. Everything was working properly and was well kept. The lobby is pretty. The exterior of the hotel does not do the interior justice. We were a little nervous when we drove up to the hotel in that hectic and dirty street. But once we walked in, we felt very comfortable. We had no issues with our room. The AC sound is a perfect white noise because it drowns out the outside noise. We were on the first floor but even at the back of the building, there was noise at night. The staff at this hotel was extremely polite and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food available. We had dinner here one night. The only dish I would recommend from what we ate is the chicken biryani. It was very tasty even at room temperature the next morning. Overall, if you want to be in this neighborhood and can handle the traffic, this is a perfect hotel. Don't plan to walk to even Connaught place. I would recommend it based on service and comfort.

The air conditioning system was poor, fan was noisy. The room rather felt humid sometimes. Breakfast is not included and restaurant is overpriced. The food was decent but you can visit Darbar restaurant nearby which is if the same owner. I'm particularly not happy with the room size and ventilation, I also complained about this at the reception but they told me that no other room was available at the moment.
Stayed at BWD for a night as had to catch early morning train. The experience was decent. Room was clean, bathroom fittings were in good shape. There was no window but since it was only one night , it wasnt a big deal. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant and food was really good. (for some reason they dont give finger bowl and your if you want to wash your hands then you need to go to the common restroom on the lobby floor) . Hotel is located 5 mins from New Delhi railway station. The front desk manager was helpful in arranging cab for 5.30 am check-out. Ola/Uber is totally unreliable in Delhi. (basis my one day experience). Overall BWD is a good option if the intent is to just spend one night for onward journey.

We had a great flavored breakfast, and had the pleasure to get to know many new Indian dishes explained by an excellent hosts in resturant called Manej and Rahul. We have tried Bhature, Chole, Lyonnaise beans, coconut chutney, etc and everything is delicious.

We stayed at the Best Western Darbar for a 3 night stay visiting from the UK. For us, the hotel was comfortable but there are improvements that can be made. We had booked the hotel through Agoda. Prior to booking, I noticed that the hotel offers rooms without a window - the standard room. For a small uplift in price, a deluxe room with a window was available. We therefore went for two deluxe rooms. On check-in, the reception staff tried to change one of the rooms to a standard room and told us it was an upgrade. We declined and said we wanted what we paid for. Breakfast was basic with not many options. However, the two waiting staff are very friendly and attentive - they are an asset to the hotel. The room and shower was clean and hygienic. However, during my three night stay, I didn't have a good sleep because of road noise and noise from the hotel itself. It was very annoying. Perhaps the soundproof could be improved on the windows. We ate at the restaurant - I had the pasta which was not very nice. My parents had a curry which they enjoyed. Water bottles were provided (1 per day) - for one day, the room did not get cleaned which after a long day of travelling to Agra was very disappointing. All in all, the stay was okay. At the very least, staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and hygienic.

Room: Very good room, with tea/coffee making facilities, iron, wardrobe, comfy queen bed, tv and plenty of electrical sockets. The rooms have brilliant air conditioning and also a ceiling fan to keep you cool. Good shower and bathroom. Hotel is CLEAN and hygienic. Room is serviced every day and a free bottle of water is provided every day. There is also some space of the rooftop if you need some air. Staff: Staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. There is also a security guard 24/7 and reception is also open 24/7. Restaurant: The restaurant is also open for ordering drinks and food when needed and room service is available. There is no alcohol available. I would recommend that the hotel improves their menu, as there is little selection but also another number of restaurants within walking distance. Location: The hotel is very well located in the city and you can get a tuk tuk / taxi or Uber right outside.

I am a female solo traveler first time in India. The BW staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There was always a fresh bottle of water each day. . The restaurant food was outstanding. It was so good the first night, I decided just to eat there every breakfast and late night dinner to try the different dishes after I got back from touring. Mukul Sharma the captain and Pantai, the cook went above and beyond in making me feel special. They explained the different dishes and gave great recommendations.

I stayed at the hotel due to some personal business in Delhi and found the hotel good and upto standard. The location is close to New Delhi Railway Station and that is a major advantage. Rooms are well equipped and food from restaurant is also good.

Spent 5 nights here in total and it's worth its price. The staff here are ever so helpful, especially the doorman, who went out of his way to help me, even escorting me to the place, making sure I didn't get hit by passing traffic. Also, Makul, I think his name was( I may have got that wrong as I am hopeless with names even though he told me when we first met. Anyway, he works in the restaurant at breakfast time. He was not only friendly and helpful, but even remembered the types of eggs I preferred and the all important black coffee to start the day. As I said, all of the staff were great and they really cared about my welfare. As for the rooms, they were big enough and very clean. I had a front-road-facing room and, although there was a constant honking, as is the case in India, I had no trouble sleeping even though I am a light sleeper. The only downside was slow and sometimes intermittent wi-fi, but I find this almost everywhere I stay. Location also is good and you can always get a taxi or auto-taxi right outside the door. Would definitely stay here again,

Very clean, well designed, cozy rooms. We had a suite that slept a family of 4 very comfortably. Hotel is well located, less than 30 minutes away from Delhi attractions. Staff is courteous and helpful. The original hotel we had booked in canceled at the last minute and BW Darbar came to our rescue. The restaurant staff is excellent. Reception staff, young man in the afternoons and young lady in the afternoons were extremely helpful, helping with taxis, directions, expectations of what to pay in taxis, tempos etc. Very enjoyable food in the restaurant, clearly a competent chef. Staff in the restaurant helpful and engaging. All in all, they made the stay at Best Western very enjoyable. Chef's name is Manas, and principle staff in the restaurant is Mukul Sharma.

I booked this hotel 6 months in advance based on many reviews on Tripadvisor, Hotels.com, and Booking.com. It was selected for location to shopping outlets in New Delhi and its proximity to the airport. I should have known things were not quite right when I got an email just 10 days before check-in to advise the room type selected would not be available due to government mandated closure of the selected room type. I was told 2 deluxe rooms would be made available to me to replace the family rooms that were put out of commission. We arrived at the hotel around 3am after a long flight from London, even at that time of night you could clearly hear outside traffic, honking of horns and just rude people in the hallways. In the morning I realized there was no double glazing on the room windows, then when trying to take a shower there was no hot water in my room, my other room had a broken shower door. After discussing these issues with the front desk it was clear we had to move to a different hotel. As a professional that books large groups around the world for hotel stays I certainly cannot and will not recommend this hotel, especially for tourists.

We stayed at the hotel for just one day but we found the rooms very comfortable and clean. The staff was very cooperative and helpful and accommodated all our requests. Buffet breakfast had a lot of options to choose from, and most of the hot items were freshly made. I'd say that this hotel is good value for money and if I need to come back to Delhi, I will stay in this hotel again.

Hotel was very well located in extremely busy Paharganj area. The staff was very professional and willing to help. I stayed in 2 bedroom family suite. Rooms were clean and tidy. The disappointment was with the internet speed and TV channel line up. The internet speed was pathetic even when you are connected on only one device. The TV channel line up just the free stuff(channels like doordarshan and few music channels). This was not fixed even after complaining about it. The bathroom drainage needs a fix. Overall I was happy with my stay despite the challenges mentioned above

I rarely write reviews but the service was so awful, I had to. The waiter did not greet us. When we asked for sweetener, he kept pointing out the sugar, and the one glaringly empty bin that should have contained the sweeteners. Finally he managed to find only 2 packets and made no more effort to find any more. We ordered 3 cups of coffee but he gave us only 2 and we had to reorder. We ordered 3 orders of fried eggs. It took a good 10 mins to receive 2 orders and an additional 3 mins for the 3rd although only 1 additional guest was present at breakfast. When the food was delivered, the water's attitude was as if he had done us a great favour and that somehow we were disrupting his day.

The hotel is on main road and the interior of the hotel defies the area it is in. I was apprehensive about the location but Hotel room and ambience made me comfortable. Slightly pricey though. 24 hour room dining should be an option as I arrived late due to train timings being such.

The hotel is located near the station. It's a short taxi ride to Connaught Place but the real Delhi is just outside if you want to try it. It was good to have a clean, comfortable, air conditioned place to retire to. Typical BW standards. Staff mostly very helpful especially Vandana on reception. For the uninitiated, this hotel has no bar (like many other hotels here) which is a great pity for us Brits. There are some bars nearby however.

We booked big room deluxe one. Aadil gave is Superior small room , attitude was not good. After paying money we have to request for our rights , restaurant was not providing water whenever we take meal. We have to request they said go in room n drink we are having meal in restaurant and not giving water at all. I have never seen restaurant without water. It seems they were trying to save water bottle.big cheater. Hotel looks good with interior but aadil and all staff member need to learn what's hospitality

I stayed for almost a week at this hotel. Yes the neighbourhood is very noisy and traffic prone, but it was a very pleasant and a peaceful stay. Great food and in-room dining service. Chef Manas, Mukul and all staff members were very helpful and courteous.

Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations. Located on a very noisy street where horns are constant 24/7, the hotel has very good sound proofing to allow rest inside. The AC in my room worked well in the hot climate, not always a given in this part of the world. The staff was friendly and spoke english well. The shower was awesome, with plenty of hot water. Wifi was fast and never failed. Only complaint is that breakfast was not included when redeeming points. This is not normally the case for western hotels.

We stayed at Best Western Darbar for 5 days and our stay was very nice. The staff at the reception was also very courteous and helpful and helped us for an early Check in without any hassles. The restuarant in the Hotel was very clean and the food they served was freshly made and very very delicious. The two boys Mukul and Anand who served us at the restaurant were in their toes and gave us extremely quick and fast service. They both had smiling faces all the time while serving us. The Chefs Manas, Manoj and Pankaj of the restaurant specially asked us for our tastes and made food as per our request. The Aaloo Paratha was just too good and it was always served us piping hot. Be it Parathas, Omelet, sandwiches, tea, coffee,Chilly Chicken, Fried Rice, paneer chilly were all very very delicious. In short our stay was very pleasant and memorable at the Best Western Darbar.

I was looking for a property for one night stay close to New Delhi railway station as I had to catch early morning train and I opted for this property . Complementary breakfast had a good variety and everything else that we ordered tasted amazing. I was very much impressed by the staffs over here. I stayed in the hotel for almost a month in May and in June I have visit this hotel again. Good place to stay in, calm, well mannered staffs. Vandana, Vinod & team are very helpful and manage front desk very well. Mukul, Manas & team handle dining very well and make food very delicious. Bhagwan & all housekeeping staff's are aslo very friendly. Great location , when I think about ambience.. really a great place to stay, good relaxation area. Staying is really comfortable in the hotel having all the required things. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Delhi.

We were in this hotel for a week stay. We took family suite and it's spacious and the room services was awesome. Neat and tidy rooms. Coming to food We had the complimentary breakfast, with the option of live counters. Fluffy cheesy omelette, Parathas, breads, Kulcha, fruits, cereals,juice, tea,coffee,cold and hot milk,sauté vegs, south indian idli,sambar,chutney ...what not..all are superb. My kids enjoyed the stay here.I would like to thank Restaurant manager Mukul Sharma and chef Manas Mondal always with us to have a best food experience. Dheeraj senior Stewart always one call away to help us and the best house keeping team. We were worried when booking the hotel about the safety of our belongings, but after coming here we experienced the security and safety . They have lockers in wardrobes were you can reset the pin and keep your valuables without any tension. Not only lockers, it's safe if you are keeping your valuables unlocked... Only issue I faced is the slow water flow in bathroom showers. You have to be so patient to have a perfect bath. since it is located near to New Delhi railway station and all foreign consulates, Public transportation has never been an issue. Best option in Delhi to stay with family.

I had gone to Delhi for my US Visa interview. Carrying important documents and needing a hygienic and safe stay, I chose Best Western Darbar. The room quality and amenities were beyond my expectations. The food was good and the breakfast was worth the money. The staff was quite hospitable. The hotel was just at the junction and easily accessible. Thoroughly recommend the stay for anyone!

All the staffs in the hotel are very helpful. Very neat and it has Good ambience to stay. Mukhul in the dining area was very courteous and helpful in explaining the menus and providing the food. Highly recommended.

Nice experience, came for business visit. If you're planning to stay in Paharganj then you should definitely check out this hotel, hotel is very neat and clean with all business amenities. Restaurant facilities is too good with supportive staff and delicious food. I would specially like to take a name of Mr Mukul Sharma from restaurant staff, he's too cooperative and supportive. Restaurant food is too good and the biryani prepared by the chef Manas was delicious. overall I definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel and restaurant staff is very accommodating and service oriented. My parents and I stayed at Best Western Darbar for 4 nights. We were well taken care of. The food was exceptional! All thanks to Mukul (sp?) and Chef Manoj. If you ever visit Delhi, I strongly recommend to try this hotel

A very stylish, modern and clean hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and room is very comfortable! The staff are incredibly welcoming and professional. They have a lot of knowledge about their services and surroundings. Special mention to: Mukul & Manas - Menu has a variety of options but they also prepare and arrange freshly made delicious dishes on request. Very organised and friendly staff. Vanthana & all front desk staff - Always happy to help. Attentive, informative and helpful. Bhagwan - Very polite and trustworthy. He does a very good house keeping job. Location is ideal and well connected. Wonderful service. Great experience. Excellent hotel.

We had lunch at the hotel. Person incharge was Mukul and chef is manas. Food taste is very good and hygienic. Mukul have managed the food serving very well and chef manas have done a good job. Appreciate Mukul and team for their efforts to serve clients and offer best hospitality.

BEST BREAKFAST @ MUKUL AND HOSPITALITY@ BHAGWAN We had breakfast at the hotel. They had very good varieties and was made to order for you and served hot at the table not like buffet, which I really liked. It reduces waste and you would also like to eat freshly made items . Person incharge was Mukul, he managed every thing very well along with coordinating with kitchen staff and bring things down to your table. Appreciate Mukul and team for their efforts to serve clients and offer best hospitality. Keep going Also staff is very polite and helpful you should once meet "Bhagwan" from house keeping he is always smiling and does all work with a beautiful smile on his face and with full dedicated. He reminds us to KEEP SMILING.
Rooms were excellent to stay overnight, Room service was neat and clean, Service was excellent, Room amenities was good beyond the expectation, location was best part to hunt the hotel. couple and family friendly.

The hotel is located in the streets of Paharganj but once you step in you are isolated from hustle. Very close to New Delhi station. Staff are very polite and go extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Restaurant food is served hot and fresh, special mention to Mr. Mukul Sharma who ensured that the food is customised to our palette. He was polite and always served with a smile. Great experience and looking forward to visiting again.

I loved the breakfast. Pav bhaji and idli was next level. I would like to specially mention a guy named "Mukul", who was really very generous and polite. Overall hotel us very hygienic. You get a very relaxed feeling over here.

I had booked through Hotels.com for 4nights. Room is not match with pictures which mentioned on website. Staff is rude, they talked me liked they obliged on me for my stay. Housekeeping is so poor that h/k didn't change bedsheets or even pillowcases. I got smelling all the time of food from restaurant.
Clean rooms, polite and helpful staff, overall excellent stay. Location in Delhi good for our work purpose. Breakfast could do with a little more variety l.. but the quality of food was uncompromised..

Have stayed with family for 5 days .Rooms are well clean and Value for money .All amenities provided Iron box,dryer,Extra towel,internet,Non smoking zone everyday rooms are cleaned .Very close to New delhi station and also for Visa purpose.Safe for family.Overall a nice hotel .

Room & bathroom size very very small No water pressure in washrooms Told to change & give bigger rooms & bathrooms but saying you have to pay extra for that Very very dissappointed to this type of attitude of best Western Darbar

One of the best hotel in paharganj area with luxury vibe! I stayed with family for a week in west darbar and the service was excellent . Rooms were super clean and house keeping did their best job offcourse ! I must say best western darbar is the most descent hotel of new delhi. Looking forward to stay more !

I have been here last month and the service was outstanding, the staff was welcoming too, making the overall stay a very good one. However parking was allocated in another location was of concern but the place is at the entrance of the busy road and still well connected all round than most hotels in Paharganj. Staff was not at all creepy as in the hotels nearby, very accommodating, wearing smile making the stay a sweet one
