Best Western Plus Hotel Mahboula, Mahboula

It was a pleasure staying at this Best western Hotel, which is 5 minutes walking from the beach. This hotel is nice with excellent food and service. Your all staff is very humble and down to earth, your staffs were very responsive and was there at every beck and call especially Basudeb Malik, he always had the priority of preference regarding food also all the restaurant staff is very good and responsible. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed a lot. I will definitely stay there again.

To be honest, the hotel very comfortable, staff are really friendly and supportive, food was delicious, and following the safety standards. thank you for making our visit incredibl. Special thank to reception teams and (lyn).

The Hotel was well placed and I have stayed at this hotel quite a number of times.my work place is nearby and helped me to work from room.The floor in which I stayed was nicely maintained.Restaurant was not open and had difficulty in eating proper food,The restaurant below was good as an alternative.The GYM,POOL and Buisness Centre was closed during my stay.The main DrawBack is the lighting in the room as well as outside.It seemed quite gloomy and the hotel needs to improve a lot in this aspect

I stayed there for one night, but these few hours are more than enough to tell that Best western Plus was a very good choice. I liked the room a lot. Spacious and extra clean. Location is few steps from one of the big shopping malls. marina and water front is just 10 - 15 minutes walk. The check in expoerience was lovely.

Good to stay in this hotel, calm sleep. Near the beach and nice scene, parking is available, maintenance team responding on time. Reception taking calls on time. making up the room and topping up consumables. curtains are good shape. relaxing room

This is the first time I opted to stay in Best Western and needless to say the experience exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious with a good sea view from the window. All amenities were neat and well appointed. The buffet breakfast was good. I had one observation in the reception. The world clocks hung behind the reception - London time was showing the summer timing of 2 hours behind whereas it is actually winter timing which is 3 hours behind. I informed the front office assistant about this but unfortunately it was not rectified till I checked out. Wonder if they did not really bother about my observation.

A very reliable standard from the team here. Check in was quick. Food choice was good and well prepared. Decent rates and location. Would always choose this hotel when in Kuwait on business. Everything thing a business traveler needs.

Solid 4 stars for quality of the hotel and friendliness of the employees. Two restaurants, swimming pool and conference hall. Moderately priced. Not much to do in the neighborhood. Good choice for business travel.

This hotel is excellent value. The hotel staff are friendly and accomodating.high level of cleanliness with good facilities. The gym and swimming pool are excellent and the food is nice. The only thing that is a little dissapointing is the location. Mahboula is about half an hour by car from Kuwait City, there arr plenty of places to eat and a few shopping centres but nothing much else.

Good value for money. Breakfast menu is very good.Very close to Industrial area The room was quite spacious and all the required amenities were available. Had a pleasant stay for 2 nights at the hotel.

This was a return visit to Best Western Plus, Mahboula. The location is ideal for the locations I visit during my visit. The rooms are spacious, and well kitted. if any comment, the lighting is a bit on the dull side, but not a big issue. Breakfast is good... I actually think they are improving the choice, and that it is more plentiful than before. Thanks chef...great omelette...cooked exactly as requested!! the hotel is also very close to shopping malls and restaurants. Finally...only fair to mention that the staff in all areas offer good and pleasant service!!...thanks!!

Great hotel close to nearby industrial facilities. On the seafront close to lots of restaurants. Walking distance from a mall and having a decent gym and swimming pool. Courteous staff always available to help and a filling breakfast spread. Quite rooms even though the hotel is on a busy street. Will stay here again due to its affordability and quality. I recommend it to value concious business travellers wishing to attend meetings at the industrial facilities close by.

Location is strategic, we can go to office near Mahboula and also near to several malls, markets, and dinning place. The room was great and has indoor pool. It also has great breakfast food. Staff are friendly and helpful. This hotel also provide nice transportation to or from airport.

I travel to Kuwait twice a year.i always stay at Best Western Maboulah. They have great rates, wonderful service, and friendly service. I love traveling here. They are so welcoming and the rooms are great. The breakfast selection is also great. It is also nice and quiet. I stayed at the Hilton Resort (close by) but it was so loud and way overpriced. Best Western Maboulah is a hidden gem.

Very accommodating staff and were ever ready to assist. More Indian options can be made available at the Breakfast time. Masala Tea (Repaired Tea) will be added advantage Room Service was bang on and appealing

Nice hotel with nice helpful stuff, tasty food with varieties, clean and comfortable rooms, room service and room dining available all day, parking is available, car rental is available, nice gym and swimming pool, but poor internet speed, tv is bad,no ATM machine it is available in walkable mall beside the hotel and it is far from city center. It was second stay.

Often visit this hotel on my business trip, it is quite new hotel,rooms are nice, big and clean.The buffet at breakfast is ok. The staff at the recepetion is professional. At ground floor there's the Bufalo restaurant, usually spent a quick dinner it does not offer that much choises. Room rates are quite expensive but in the area there's not cheaper hotel at the same quality level.

Stayed here for two nights. Pretty good rooms and the view was nice. Across the road are a small restaurant mall with some good food so thats a plus. Little far from the city but close to the industrial area which is great for visiting customers there. Breakfast might need some updating but not bad at all. All in all it was a really good stay.

Bit disappointed over the nature responded by the reception desk to one of my visitor (male executive manager) who seek permission to visit my room after I too requested. if this is the case, then it is not the comfort that I expect from a hotel I stay..

I have stayed at the Hilton Resort regularly for 18 months but budget cuts took me to the Best Western. The room was large and clean. The two restaurants were open all day so I could eat when I wanted, the food was good and well priced. I had a few challenges with timings for the hotel cars but once past that that service was excellent too. I know we are saving considerably on our budget but I was not noticing any significant difference in the quality of my stay. Looking forward to staying in three weeks time.

I like my room and the bed is queen size and easy to sleep on. You have a big screen TV facing the bed and couch. You have a desk to get your work done on paper or laptop, free WiFi, and when I arrived it was a speedy check in so I could get a little sleep in. They delivered a basket of fresh fruit after I got into my room complimentary of the hotel. The bathroom was loaded with all the amenities you could need. They offer a free breakfast with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, pastries and many other goodies, plus they make fresh omelettes. After breakfast you can hit the gym or pool and work a few calories off. You have a mini bar in your room stuffed with goodies that are tasty and healthy. I would stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

This Stay was for a single occupancy and I stayed in this hotel because it is closer to Alzour area in which I was sent by the company that I work for to complete an assignment for 5 days. Condition of the hotel was perfect, spacious room and bathroom with shower, good water pressure with Cold/Hot water, sofa and large TV, small fridge and water boiler. The breakfast was including good variety of food, coffee, tea, and 2 types of juices. eggs/omelette by order. There was a small grocery shop behind the hotel and in hotel laundry service.

This Hotel was booked by the company so I did't pick it however it is a clean hotel, the breakfast was small but very adequate, with a good selection available, the staff are attentive but not over the top, ask and you receive, I only used room service once, the food, Beef stroganoff was ok but a little bland. can't really say much about the area as I didn't venture out, it looks not the best, but I don't think anyone goes there for a holiday, well I wouldn't. however there's nothing wrong with this Hotel if that's the area you want to stay.

Very good hotel for a business trip. Rooms are confortables with fairly big. The personnel is very dedicated and professional. However, rooms are noisy ( a Main Street nearby) and the patio need to be improved a bit. Except those points, I recommend it !

Stayed here twice already and both times were awesome. Really big and clean rooms and sweets with everything I need. Nice staff always ready to help. A nice restaurant with an excellent breakfast with all sorts of different stuff. In the ground floor there's a Buffalo's restaurant where we can have lunch or dinner. There is also an health club with a nice pool and a mini ciber cafe with computers you may use. I would go back to Best Western if I need to go to Kuwait city again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was a suite with modern décor and a good view of the Arabian Sea. The breakfast that was included with the stay was excellent as well as the kitchen staff. The hotel was courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again.

I am sitting in the restaurant now and I am so impressed with the quality of my coffee, the sweets and the attentive staff. Ryan and Ruth have made me feel very special here and they are very knowledgeable about what services and activities are available in this city. This is a top notch Hotel.

I am staying at this hotel for 40 days, So far I am comfortable here.Room size is quite big and clean. Hotel staff is really very nice and friendly. The number of members at receptions needs to improve at least 2 people.

If you do business outside Kuwait City area then it's convenient location. Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, pretty good bathroom, clean. Service desk is OK. Average in-house restaurant, but plenty of restaurants to eat just walking distance away. Beachfront is walking distance as well.

This Hotel is very clean, rooms are nice and big. The staff has been very kind throughout our long stay. The one thing that is outstanding is the free breakfast. It is amazing!! They have everything you could think of in a Buffett, plus the best Arabic coffee I've ever had!

BW Kuwait is a hotel facing the Arabian Gulf in Mahboula area. The place is in a bit of calm area and ideal for business travelers. I have been to this hotel 5-6 times in the last couple of years and enjoy their good customer service and courteous staff. On a couple of occasions have been upgraded from Standard to Deluxe rooms and once got upgraded to the Suite. All the categories of rooms are very spacious. The Hotel has all the amenities required for a business traveler. The breakfast is good as well with a good spread of American and local cuisines. A good 2-3 Malls & Food Courts near the Hotel make it a good dining choice for any visitor. Overall a nice and serene place with excellent views of the Arabian Sea.

The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is very good. Excellent omelettes and something new everyday. The rooms are large, as are the bathrooms. Good toiletries and fluffy towels. The gym is small and spotless, as is the pool area. The pool is a little unfriendly but clean and warm. It is a pity it opens at ten as many like to swim in the am before work. The restaurant is quite good and much less expensive than some in the area. There are lots to walk to and I would recommend the Indian one in the plaza, Zafran. We had a great stay there.

I stayed there for 16 nights, at work in Kuwait. An interesting country to visit, but so far no great "tourist site", more a place to do work. But the hotel in Mahboula was a nice hotel with good standard, and good service. Just suitable for people who has a job to do, eighter it is at the large refinery, or on ships in the nearby harbour.

The hotel is OK, the room large, the bed long and comfortable, a shower full of power. The AC also works well but I find ear plugs necessary. The front of the hotel is beside a well-used and noisy road, even 2-4 am when it's motor bike time. Yes they can be heard with the ear plugs in. Hopefully this will not occur very often. The in-room blurb suggests you close your doors with care. I can now understand why because they easily slam. Indeed even the scraping of a chair in the next room as someone gets up or sits down is very noisy and their TV can be heard too. The Internet is good and even though you get ‘connect and password' information with your room key, they are not necessary. The laundry was fast and efficient also, but the choice of TV is dire. There is an OK choice for breakfast. I tried the in-house TEX-MEX last night, large portions for which I have no idea of the cost, in terms of any currencies I know. It is my first time in Kuwait. The East Garden is the other on-site restaurant and as the name suggests it serves a choice of Indian and Oriental dishes. The staff like those on the reception, did not show a lot of interest I do have a Best Western frequent user's card, for which it was advertised I could get extra points for eating in-house. On my room key holder it says “Points never expire”. On the key itself it says “Your key to faster free nights”. None of this works however if your company books your room, unlike several other hotel chains whose loyalty cards that I have. This would fail the “Trades Description Act” in my country. The liked the free trip to and from the airport, it was efficiently executed. Guess what chain I will do my utmost not to stay at in future.

Nice hotel, with good sized clean rooms, good swimming pool and a small but OK gym. OK breakfast but some really good restaurants only a 2 minute walk away the Chinese and Indian are highly recommended

There is two best western and make sure you double check before booking. Mahboula is little out of the city. Rooms are okay and wifi Works as good as it can be. Freindly stuff. Good for business based on your customer location

The rooms large, clean and comfortable with large bathrooms. The staff are very courteous. I've spent over two weeks in this hotel and have tried most of the food on the menu which is generally quite good (but could be better). Internet service is great, and laundry service is quick. Highly recommended for the business traveler as well as families.

Good things first. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, gym fully equipped, pool is big and clean, excellent shower. Bad things, food in the restaurant is below any standards. I tried the steak, two types of burger and the club sandwich, and the only thing that was acceptable was the club sandwich which I guess they didn't need to cook. I didn't like the material of the restaurant napkin. It felt like I'm wiping with a poliester T-shirt. No rooftop bars or any content is also a minus for me. In general, it's OK place to stay if you eat somewhere else, and there are good choices near by.

It's really the best hotel from this chain that i ever visit, fantastic rooms very nice and gentle service and near the coast, in the middle of the city. The only problem is that during the weekend due to the traffic on the route i needed more that 1 hour for arrive in the centre.

The hotel is very clean, well serviced and convenient for local shops and restaurants of which there are many. The rooms are basic but well maintained and all you could want if on a business trip. If on holiday I would recommend the Hilton which is a mile down the road and has outdoor pools and restaurants.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and found it very nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble for them. My baggage was lost and they did everything they could to help me. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and I slept really well. Well done to the management for employing committed and kind staff.

This my second visit here and there will be many more. Stopped here with a friend with whom we used frequent this place allot back when it was located at another location. The foods still great. I will be sampling all of the menu on each visit.

Great service exudes The Best Western in Mahboula. This place is great. The rooms are clean, the staff are top notch, and they will accommodate you to the best of their abilities!! I salute them and their management. This property has a clean gym, an excellent business center, pool, and is only a short walk to the Persian Gulf!! The Buffalos Restaurant is located in the lobby and have the best lemon pepper wings I've ever had. Make sure you get the electric lemonade to wash it down with!! The staff are more than professional, and would rival any staff in a hotel chain in the US!! This property is definitely worth the stay if you are ever in Kuwait!!

It was a good experience the staff was friendly the was clean tidy but what i doesn't like the location its quit far from the kuwait the capital where ls the entertainment and the malls but in general it was a good experience and i recommend it

I spent here one week. you stay here just for logistic reasons if you must access the Industrial area nearby. Hotel is clean personnel efficient, room large and breakfast acceptable for the class of Hotel. Only laundry service is a little bit "basic". outside the hotel there are two small restaurant complex but ratio quality/price is not good .....better to go to the city

My company booked this hotel.... Check in was ok, room was clean and was given an upgrade which was very pleasant surprise. Unfortunately no access from room to small terrace outside. Breakfast was average. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I used a taxi driver recommended by the hotel over the 3 day period to visit clients and to be honest his prices were inconsistent and at times a pure rip off and I let him know it too....honesty is the key to success!! Never try and rob your customers...it will cost you!

Stayed here in April for a week on business. The price seemed very reasonable for everything we received. The hotel is very clean and the receptionist when we arrived was highly effective. Opened up room and was not disappointed! Really large suite with beautiful marble floor. Extra large (king bed) Desk for working at. Settee and small table. Large flat screen TV. The bathroom is amazing with a lot of bathroom products. Really impressed and replenished each day SUPER service by the house keeping staff at the Best Western!! Good mini bar selection, snacks in mini bar and 2 bottles of water left each day. Breakfast was a Buffett affair and it was outstanding!! From eggs to yogurt to cheeses and very good coffee. There was something for everyone. We ate a few times in the east restaurant the menu is very wide and varied. I ate a few items off the menu but the paneer curry was a firm favourite for me!! The indoor swimming pool is lovely. A really good temperature and a nice relaxing environment with sun beds to relax on. I most certainly recommend this hotel ????

I stayed only a few hours to get some rest before departing the country. However, this is an excellent hotel with outstanding service. Spotlessly clean, hotel staff super helpful. It is a bit pricey, like a lot of things in Kuwait, but I really have nothing bad to report.

I stayed in this hotel in November 2015 for about one week... I love this hotel because it has got a beautiful swimming pool a biliards two restaurants a couple of computers helpful for working and a really nice workers... Francis, the usher is a lovable person the most gentle I have ever meet in my travels... I advice this hotel to every one !

The hotel is situated in Mahbulla which is quite far from Kuwait city, but if your business is KOC related then the location is perfect. Nice clean rooms and pretty good amenities (gym, indoor pool). Decent tex mex style restaurant on premises. Walking distance to 3 food courts with many dining options. Overall a good business hotel provided you are there on a business trip and budget conscious

It was a good hotel, although a bit far from main city...which for me was good as Kuwait city could get crowded at times. The pool, gym and other facilities were good... Plus - Amenities, room size, breakfast, service...would stay there again.

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. All the staff including the waiters, reception and even security guys were very friendly and went out of their way to say hello or good morning. Food is good at both restaurants. The hotel car park is in very bad shape and needs urgent repair unless you have a 4x4 vehicle. One thing on the negative side is the hotel driver. He is very dangerous and should take defensive driving lessons. He really scared me to and from the airport. Over speeding (160 in 80 zone), changing lanes at the last minute to go to the exit and talking on cell phone when driving were just a few things. Check outb took 20 minutes even after confirming check out the day before and the night before it still took 20 minutes? Otherwise enjoyable stay.

We've stayed there for 2 nights. Hotel was cleani staff was very helpful and friendly. They have open buffet breakfast, it's not bad. But ala carte restaurant foods might be better. You can choose best western for your visit.

Labelling this hotel as a luxury one might be a bit too much and raise expectations which it won't be able to fulfill. Hotels are expensive in Kuwait, but, - possibly because it is newly built -, this one offered very good value for money, Would come back here for one or two nights, but be aware of its location. It is not near to Salmiya or Kuwait City, the airport ride about ten minutes. Airport to hotel I was charged 8 Kuwaiti, funny enough, from hotel to airport just five. Tex-Mex restaurant in the lobby is nice. Staff friendly and helpful.

location of best western Kuwait hotel is suitable for KOC related works, and it is descent to stay , with ocean view rooms , staff is pleasing , but breakfast served is same every day . Swimming pool is small and indoor. Gym is good .

I stayed at BW for 3 nights. The checkin and checkout was efficient. The rooms are big with the bay view. During day, the light outside is enough. The light inside is too feeble after sunset though. Could use some better lighting for the size of the room. The bathroom is also very big. The breakfast is sumptuous and service is good. The gym is well equipped. There is a pool table which I think hasnt been used in a while but works. The indoor pool is also good. I had a airport pick up arranged so had no problem in getting to the hotel. There was another guest from airport who was continuously smoking inside the vehicle which did not make the trip very comfortable. There are good food outlets available close to the hotel. The location is great if you have work with the refineries and or KOC. I will be going back here.
