SureStay Plus by Best Western Litchfield

Room was very nice and clean. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Will stay there again. There was quite a group of us staying there to attend a funeral so we spent a bit of time hanging out in the common areas and were always treated pleasantly.

This is a wonderful hotel with a staff that went above and above our expectations. We were there for a family wedding in town. We arrived with 150 cupcakes for the wedding and Carrie, the General Manager, arranged for us store them in another area outside our room to keep them cool. She couldn't have been nicer! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious! Vickie was wonderful in the breakfast room and made sure everything was stocked. She was also friendly and helpful at the front desk. The lobby was nicely decorated and comfortable. Thank you for helping to make our special weekend so much fun!

The manager was extremely courteous. I was booked into a handicap accessible room, which was not intended but ok. I don't know how anyone in a wheelchair could possibly stay in that room. On the upside, the experience was OK. It's the best hotel in the town and conveniently located.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. We did not leave as my wife did not want to stay in New London or Paynesville, as her father was in these towns, and she didn't want to be where her dad no longer was. On arrival, we were informed that they room we had requested on the first floor had been given away. I booked this room in March, and the local staff blamed this on Expedia. I did not book this on Expedia, as I know it is far better to book on the Best Western site, as I stay in these hotels in southern Arizona. We were offered nothing for our inconvenience, other that its not our fault.... Immediately, we noticed that the carpet is absolutely filthy. My wife had some brand new socks and within 5 minutes, the bottoms of the socks were absolutely filthy. I can wear my socks outside and get them less dirty than my wives socks were. She left the pair for the local team to see just how dirty their facility is. Plus the room smelled, probably due to the HVAC unit not keeping the humidity down. My wife decided to take a bath, and when she started the water, she noticed several pubic hairs. Does your team not clean the tubs???? Also, the there is a nice layer of dust on the tiles used to create a kick board inside the bathrooms. Shows your staff doesn't know how to clean. Another major problem was you had to slam the bathroom door in order to shut it. We would have reported this but were afraid we would be moved to a worse room. Oddly enough, once you got the door completely shut, it would easily open. Someone has done a poor installation on the door. We intend to post a video of this nightmare on Yelp and other sites. We also had an incident one morning when we got a knock at the door, despite having the tag requesting privacy hung on the door knob. When I answered the door, I was informed that they needed to do a linen inventory. I informed them that my wife was feeling ill, and was still in bed. They insisted that they be allowed to just jump in to count the towels in the bathroom. My wife screamed "NO", and I slowly closed the door. This is a level of incompetence on your local staff. They need to understand the privacy tag is there for a reason. Our night, there was an issue with the fire system continually alarming. This prevented us from getting any sleep once this started. I finally had to call the front desk to find out what was going on. In this situation, I have had other hotels notify the guests of ongoing problems, keeping them informed. I was so happy to leave and check into a Hilton hotel in Minneapolis. The first thing on the wall was a statement about if you have problems with a stay and it isn't made right, the stay is on Hilton. Amazingly, we had not once issue at this hotel.

We came here for a family get together. They were accommodating to our requested room location/pet free room. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Stayed on a Saturday and it was not terribly busy. Enjoyed pool (little chilly at first but aren't they all) and hot tub. Breakfast was really good compared to other places. They have breakfast sandwiches, eggs, meat, among many other good items. Breakfast attendant was very nice and personable! Complimentary bottled waters too.

We always stay here when visiting family in that area. They are always consistently friendly and the rooms always clean and comfortable. The staff truly seem eager to assist and are very welcoming from the minute you enter the lobby.

Room was clean, beds were comfy, pool and hot tub were great! The breakfast in the morning was great. The first day there were cheese omelets and bacon in a hot dish, along with breakfast burritos & egg sandwiches that were in the frig. Super easy to warm up in the microwave. Next day the hot plate had scrambled eggs and sausage. There was also the rest of what you would expect in a continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Lots of close restaurants and a Walmart practically next door.

Great place to stay.....modest price, clean room, temperatutre control, easy to use shower, a good night's sleep and excellent complimentarty breakfast....all with friendly and helpful hotel staff members

Rooms were clean, friendly staff, breakfast not great. Area restaurants are limited to mainly bar food. It was fine for a business trip but I don't think I would stay there for a personal vacation. There isn't enough to do in the area or close good restaurants.

This hotel was very clean and quiet. I stayed in one of the suites. Everything was very clean. Plenty of towels for the jet tub as well as the bathroom. I got a very good nights sleep in the comfortable beds. The breakfast was hot and had a wide selection of items. Breakfast area super clean as well. Very nice lobby area.

Honestly, the stay surprised us. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was very clean and updated. The breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub was good. Overall, it was a great stay for a town, the size of Litchfield.

Hotel was clean and looked nice, the room was in good shape, clean and orderly. The Breakfast was great. everything from hot waffles, meat, eggs, to cold foods like cereal, yogurt, danish etc. The service was very good, room rates were a little higher than i wanted to pay.

While pricing seems high for Litchfield, the staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, the room was immaculately clean and even with pets allowed there were zero noise issues on a fully booked evening. There were more breakfast options than I expected there to be and it was hot/cold as it should be and tasted great. Pool/hot tub area was clean, easily accessible and open late into the evening. Overall, I was initially off put by the price ($180 all in) but in the end I would say I understand the value received for the money and am happy with the spend.

The hotel was very clean and well kept, however the staff were a nightmare. During our 2 night stay, I dealt with two different gals at the desk, and they were extremely rude and disrespectful. Usually I can overlook this when staying at a hotel, but they made our stay miserable.

We enjoy staying here!!' It's so clean and comfortable! Nice staff too! The breakfast is super good! Wi-Fi works good. Your by Walmart and places to eat. It's so relaxing. It's like your not even staying at a hotel! ;)

I enjoyed a good night's rest in a clean, comfortable room. The facility was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. I would recommend this as a reasonably priced, nice place to rest your head.

The staff were very helpful. One quick note. Do not put your room key card in the same pocket as your phone! My key got demagnetized the first half hour I was there, but Anna at the front desk was very quick to help me and set up a new key.

There aren't many options for lodging in this quaint little town in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but Sure Stay is the only option in my option. Their facilities are clean, organized, and very well managed. They are evenly spaced between the grocery store and Walmart which is very convenient for replacing everything that you inevitably forget to pack, and have their own parking lot with more than enough space to accommodate all their guests. They offer a considerable number of conveniences for your comfort including a large, clean pool, indoor and outdoor tables, a working business center, 24-7 access to warm and cold drinks in the lobby with caffeinated and caffeine-free options for both, laundry facilities, ice and vending machines, and complimentary breakfast from 6am-10am daily. The real reason to stay here is the friendliness of staff who will gladly have a ten minute conversation with you when they aren't busy, answer any questions you have, recommend restaurants, give directions, and even lend you a phone charger when needed. This is an overall very pleasant facility run by a great team of people, and no other hotels in town would be worthy of even two stars. If you are reading this while planning a stay in the Litchfield/Atwater area you should save yourself some time and book with Sure Stay immediately.

Stay was perfect for our hockey tournament weekend. Room was clean and comfy, breakfast good and great location. Our front desk woman was a gem. She was so accommodating for our large group and was so happy and friendly. I wish I could bottle her up and put her behind every hotel desk! She made our stay exceptional.

Front desk staff exceeded my expectations. They were kind and conversant and I could tell how they genuinely cared about the hotel and the customers. The rooms are not new but very well cared for and clean. I will definitely be staying here in the future if buisiness brings me back.

If you are looking for a place to stay with a group of kids. This would be the place. Such great customer service and they made our team feel wanted. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be recommending this location to our other teams.

Great hotel- efficient, clean, friendly, good breakfast! My husband and I were in need of accommodations and decided on this hotel. They gladly took our reservation when our phone connection wasn't good, telling me they would hold the room for us without a cc # being given (due to the difficulty with connection). Always nice to talk to a live person who is helpful! We were pleased with the room and the breakfast was very good.

Had a wonderful stay. Fast service. Workers were very nice. Worker even brought up an extra blanket so i didnt have to come down stairs. Swimming area was well kept we spent alot of time in the pool and hot tub

The staff were very accommodating when our party arrived at different times late at night. The room was comfortable and clean. Even though the place was full, it was very quiet. They had covid precautions in place but were still able to have a complimentary breakfast which was going above and beyond during these times since a lot of places have just done away with it.

My check in experience at the hotel was great. The person behind the counter was very friendly and did everything she could to accommodate my needs. I interacted with three other people during my stay they were lacking in basic friendliness skills. I mentioned the lack of friendliness to the manager of the hotel when I picked up my bill. It was apparent she was not interested in hearing my feedback. Ask for the first floor if you have luggage there is no elevator. This would not be my first choice if I were back in the area

The hotel is clean, free breakfast is great, and the staff make you feel like family! The pool is fantastic, with plenty of towels and shower and bathroom. the hot tub/spa is spacious and fabulous. location is great. near restaurants and shopping centers.

Great hotel. This is one of the cleanest hotels that I have ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful very friendly. Always a great place to stay when traveling to Minnesota. From the time you enter the hotel until you leave you always feel welcome there
