Really nice property. The staff was helpful. I like the coffee machine that had so many choices. The room was clean and nice and spacious. The breakfast had many choices, and everything was very good. We enjoyed the stay and would be glad to stay here again.
Clean hotel, comfortable bed. Easy check-in. Walking distance to 3 restaurants which is nice. My main problem is with my dog. They charge for a dog but have no decent outside dog area. The area they directed us to is a ditch area with no lighting and they do not provide poo bags -unlike most BW Hotels. I have my own bags but some less responsible dog owners don't!. The other problem worth mentioning is they do not offer upgrades to patrons with dogs -again, unlike most BW Hotels.
Always excellent service. The staff are always nice, breakfast is always easy to go and plenty of it. Every time I come here I'm never disappointed. This is the only place I would stay if I'm in the area, unless they are all booked out then it will be a sad day.
I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. I noticed some improvements and the hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The staff was personable and very helpful and the homemade cookies were delicious. Location is great tooo,
Great front desk staff. Nathan was great help and super service. Nice location next to excellence eateries and bars. Also got to watch the Tesla dealership load new trucks....there pretty ugly. A little more house keeping could go along way in the rooms. Unmoved furniture was not vacuumed under and a buildup of debris was present in our double bed room. Also the fridge looked pretty ragged and unwiped down.
Coffee maker broken, door latch broken, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in shower empty and one was broken, stain/spot on white bedspread, sign in breakfast area saying not to take any food with you. All in all, this was not a good experience
This hotel was not up to par for BW. 1 towel in room. Shower hard to manage. No hot water in morning. And overpriced. I brought this up but no reply. I will write a letter to BW and ask for partial refund. I will not come here again. I will call corporate. BW can do better.
The staff is great. The people are very helpful. The pool is nice and large : The breakfast buffet is beyond great. There is lots more food choices
I've stayed at many Best Westerns and this one just did not meet my expectations. The continental breakfast was excellent. Great variety and attentive staff. The hotel however is in need of renovation. The room did not feel clean. There was pet hair on the carpet, chairs and bed as well as popcorn left from previous guests on the floor. The noise level in the room was high, constant slamming of doors from people exiting their rooms/the building. The gym and pool area also felt run down. The gym was very humid and had visible water damage and mold. There was a very loud machine noise in the pool area that made it hard to enjoy using the hot tub and pool. Unfortunately I would not stay here again.
I stayed here briefly for one night with my son while traveling through to the West coast, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We found it very comfortable. Noah at the front desk was very attentive and super friendly. The complimentary breakfast was great. Our biggest surprise was a pool table that was free to play. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed that, and it made our night. Overall a very nice stay at a great value hotel.
Guest services were very accommodating of special needs family member. Check in was a little slow, but ok otherwise.
Had to wait 45 minutes for some unexplained reason to check in while other front desk clerk checked two other people in without a problem.
First room was not cleaned properly, but besides the point they were excellent on moving us to a cleaner room, and overall stay was excellent shout out to Noah at the front desk for helping me with signing up with a membership and overall stay he deserves a raise
The hotel is in a great location. Close to a walking path along the river and close to shopping. The hotel has a nice little pool. The included breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold items. The hotel is pet friendly as our friends brought their dog with them.
The rooms are larger and the bed is extremely soft and comfortable. The location makes it very quiet and they have a few nice touches. They have a good breakfast including eggs, hash-browns, bacon and sausage. In the evening they have a happy hour for B/W diamond members which is a nice touch. Overall a very good stay.
We have stayed here a couple times and it really is a great place. Is it super fancy with a ton of amenities? No. But it is comfortable and consistent. The rooms are a nice size, the beds are comfortable, linens are clean, parking is easy, in-room coffee is appreciated. We like the included breakfast, even though they do run out of items prior to the end of the breakfast time slot. So go early if you can! Staff here is the best! Super friendly and helpful! We had a problem with our A?C unit - it was making a terrible noise! We called down about 9pm to report it, in hopes that someone would come look at it in the morning. Well, within an hour we had two guys investigating the issue. They actually ended up swapping the bad unit with one from another room - that night! Let me tell you, that is customer service! Over and beyond customer service! They have earned our business. Every time we visit the area we will be staying at this hotel!
As rates continue to increase in the Spokane WA area I ended up going further out. However this was not a bad thing as the property was still in a good location to the Spokane Fair/Event Center as well as a planned Antique Mall in Post Falls ID. Modern, clean outside and in and a very comfortable room and GREAT breakfast daily with two very attentive attendants, friendly and efficient and helpful.
This hotel is great. Super nice staff. Free breakfast daily with loads of choices. Beds are very comfortable. Room was very clean. Property is very well maintained. Happy hour mon - thurs. Free drinks and Nick is awesome! Great dining right around the corner and five minutes to loads of stores and restaurants. Close to freeway. Pool and hot tub. Great value!
Very nice Hotel with an exceptional staff. Professional and helpful with answering all questions I needed answered. Nathan was courteous and friendly throughout my visit. He greeted me and checked me out in a professional manner. I will definitely be staying at this location again.
Will definitely use Best Western Plus in the future. This facility exceeded our expectation for being friendly, price, clean, and the location was perfect right off of I-90. We shopped at the Spokane Valley Mall which is a short 5-miles up the road. This facility is located near many good restaurants and venues.
Family and friends. Good times and bad. It was nice to come back to the hotel and not worry about anything there. We got a good night's sleep. We had good food in the morning. Nice staff and people. I'll definitely tell others about this place.
Property was in a great location. Clean upon arrival and very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and beds were VERY comfy. I like that they do not enter your room unless you request them to. Breakfast was great for hubby as he loves all things breakfast..
They were extremely helpful and thoughtful of my Mom and I under trying circumstance. Mom was in a wheelchair and I had never driven her around in one before. She had little usage of legs and we had been already driving for 6 hours that day. She really appreciated the good breakfast for the last leg of the trip. Only problems noted were in regard to minor changes to a handicap room.
Wow - we loved this hotel! After staying at a precious best western where we had a TERRIBLE experience and I vowed to never stay at another best western ever again, I was hesitant to keep this reservation but I'm sure glad I did! The breakfast has stellar options, elite items that you don't get at other hotels and the staff is so amazing. They make you feel welcome and happy to ne there. Maybe I will continue to stay at BW just because of my experience at this hotel.
Hotel was very clean and the rooms comfortable. Shampoo dispenser was empty and I couldn't get the TV to the channel guide. In room coffee is a plus.I didn't use the other amenities like the pool or gymm. Good restaurants close by and breakfast was very good.
Everyone is great and the most caring staff. The rooms are great and well taken care of. This Best Western is the only one we have stayed at that have a wonderful happy hour. We have stayed at this Best Western for at least 30 times. They are close to shopping and just off of I 90.
It is easy to get to right off of Interstate 90, and is close to restaurants. The staff were helpful, pleasant and kind. The facility and room were very clean and quite comfortable. I basically was in my room only at night, as I was visiting family and friends in the area. The check-in and check-out process was painless. There was not a lot of noise from other customers, the parking is adequate, ,I was able to park right outside my window on the first floor.
A cousin near Newman Lake was hosting our family reunion, and this was the closest hotel. As a. Senior, my price for 2 nights was about $245 including tax. WAY more than I anticipated for this rural area. Room was clean and quiet, but for the price I expected my room to be serviced. It was not. I did tell the front desk that the refrigerator in my room wasn't working. They did service the unit and, at least, my drinks were cooler…but never cold. Breakfast are was clean and tidy due to the diligent efforts of the 2 young women working there.
We loved the pool, gym, and Pepper room(games, tv, pool table, foosball, hang out area} were open 24 hours for the kids as long as an adult were present. Not like some hotels were kids are kicked out after 9PM. We had 4 families traveling in our group with kids from 9-14 yrs old and they all had fun hanging out, swimming and playing in the Pepper room. The manager and the staff were awesome! Really made us feel welcome. Great hot breakfast with lots of choices. Great location between Spokane and Coeur D'Alene and about 35 minutes from Silverwood.
We spent the first night in a very warm room because the AC was not working (got into the mid 90s) We should have been moved immediately but it took until noon the next day. I felt like we wasted a whole morning getting the run around. The front desk was friendly and felt bad but for the price, we should have had some compensation.
Our room was large and clean. However the best feature was the “happy hour” hosted by Nick. He was a great host and the snacks were good. Lots of games were available for guest use. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay at this location again. Breakfast was plentiful and well served.
Traveling as much as we do it was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. You will not be disappointed if you select this hotel to stay at if in the Liberty Lake area. Probably one of the friendliest, and most dedicated to make the traveler comfortable that you will find.
The staff was very friendly and approachable. The rooms were ok, not the best but not the worst. Our room was clean, free of bed bugs, and stocked with a few towels. The door lock barely worked with the card, the beds were caved in, and the curtains were broken. They really need a new contractor, the towel rod was hung unlevel, the shower dispensers were barely hanging on the wall, there was no grout in the floor tile, and the wall around the ac was damaged.
The hotel had a great location. They were doing some remodeling so it was dusty and a bit smelly, but that can't be helped. The front desk worker was walking out by the front door when we pulled up and seemed annoyed when we went to check in around 4:30pm. The room was nice, but there were several stains on the drapes. We didn't have any shampoo or conditioner in our room, but the staff provided us some upon request for free. The hotel's location is amazing. It is well groomed and easily accessible. Would stay here again.
I felt so welcome, everyone was so friendly. I'd stay again for sure and would recommend to others I love my dogs were welcome. There was alot of amenities most hotels don't have. They plowed the sidewalks right away to make sure everyone was safe
My husband loves the breakfasts here. I liked it too as well as the layout of the room. The sink and mirror are outside of the bath and toilet. Very convenient. The beds are comfortable and the heating/cooling system worked well.
I first stayed at this hotel and was impressed with the service and quality along with professionalism of the staff and rooms. However, since my first experience was so good I decided to book again. The second time booking I was greatly disappointed in some of the staff and then the overall smell in the room and noise. When we got into our room there was an awful strong smell of either fresh paint or some oil of some kind, it was very strong and nauseating. My husband chose for us to open the window and let the room air out which was fine, but then the TV needed to be unplugged and then plugged in again each and every time for it to turn on, the guide on the TV would intermittently stop working, there was a significant difference in professionalism between the day and night staff, and when asked if there was something they could do about a neighboring rooms toilet running all night long they reported that they could do nothing as the room was occupied and they would not fix it so my husband could not sleep at all during the nights we were there.
Easy exit from the highway, close to nice eating establishments. Supermarkets are also nearby if one prefers to eat it. Fuel is close too. Substantial breakfast served daily and varied from day to day. Fitness center has a recumbent bike, weight machine and an elliptical trainer, ab bench and a TV to watch while working out. The bed was very comfortable and the room AC/Heat was very easy to operate. Overall a very nice stay.
Except for the the wine (Barefoot) served during happy hour and the fact that hard cider/tea is not kept stocked the rest of this stay was really nice. The beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The rooms are clean and and the staff are really nice.
This was my first stay at a hotel in over 4 months that wasn't for business, and I wasn't disappointed. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Amenities were plentiful. Rooms were clean. And they had a good breakfast. Overall I had a great stay.
I was disappointed with this stay. Pros: Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good and a really nice large spread. Cons: Checking in, the staff didn't even smile, and seemed grumpy in general. We weren't told that the water was turned off, so went to our room and my travel companion used the bathroom, then found there was no hand soap so squirted some shower gel on her hand and then had no way of washing it off. We called the front desk and were told "Oh yeah, the water is off for a bit due to maintenance." (Wasn't that something that could've nicely been told to us as we checked in a couple minutes before?) We asked for hand soap and never did get any. There was barf in the public bathroom near the pools, the pool smelled strongly of strange chemicals (similar to nail polish remover or spray paint). The other reviewers aren't kidding, the elevator takes an ETERNITY. No idea why, even when no one is using it, it is sooo slow. It also makes a squawking noise, and we were near it so all night whenever someone used it we got to enjoy that. The coffee bar could use some cream/creamer that doesn't have sweetener in it. The facility is nice, hope they can improve the service/upkeep of it.
Listed as a three-star property, this facility rates two stars at best. Slack management is evidenced in several areas, including leaky plumbing in rooms, substandard housekeeping, poor staff follow-up to guest requests and, most notably, an excruciatingly slow elevator that often stops on the seconfd floor -- whether summoned there or not. All in all, not a satisfactory experience.
We stay here quite often due to the location near our kids, however, each time we leave disappointed, thinking we need to find somewhere else. We are diamond level members, and have been at a lot of their hotels in many states, but always have an issue when staying at this one.
Carpet was SOAKING wet due to them JUST shampooing. Family was slipping and falling walking from carpet area to tile area in room. Room was muggy and smelly. No TP, shampoo or body wash. Only 2 towels for a family of 5. It was like pulling teeth getting more TP and towels from the front desk. No towels for the pool. Staff kept reminding us that check out was at 11AM, it was only 9AM. A generator in the sprinkler room kicked on at 5:50AM waking my 3 children up. Husband complained to the front desk and manager, they weren't helpful at all, stood there with a blank look on their face. Didn't offer anything for our crappy stay. Not worth the $300 that we paid. Check in was easy, the guy was great. The free breakfast was decent.
Great price, so many awesome breakfast options, clean room, right off freeway! We always enjoy staying at this hotel! Right between Spokane and Idaho, its a great spot to stay so you can go back and forth between the two.....
My son and I stayed here for our trip to Silverwood Theme Park. It was a great location and a great stay for our first time this North. There was also a great bar and grill across the street, and it was close to the freeway. Breakfast was hot and fresh, just what we needed, with a great value!
The breakfast buffet was great! The room was very clean, and hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating! It was our first stay at a Best Western and we would definitely stay again! It's a very great hotel for the price! Bonus points for the 24/7 pool and hot tub!
Liberty Lake is in a great location with all the usual amenities required for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here a number of times and never had an issue. There are a number of eating venues and supermarkets very close by so you can either walk or drive.
Very quiet, clean room in a fairly convenient area. Excellent check in experience, very nice staff. Breakfast was warm and tasty. Only complaint was a faulty toilet whic did not get fixed before we checked out. Thankfully there were restrooms in the hall across from our room.
Positives: plenty of parking and the A/C worked well. Pool was good. Back door supposed to be locked but wasn't…that was unsettling. Cable wasn't working…went down the first night and another guest was complaining about the same thing. They said they'd send someone to look at it but never did. Subsequent calls to the front desk revealed that the general consensus with those on staff was that “management didn't pay the bill” so everyone was having this issue. Ice maker on our floor was broken and staff said it had been for a while. Elevator was very slow so it was super inconvenient. Leather on sofa in room was peeling badly…very dated looking. Comforter stained. Screen on window had a big hole in it. Some days trowels were soft and plush like normal bath towels. Other days they felt like sand paper. A little consistency would be good. When cleaning of room was done they didn't do things like give more toilet paper and Kleenex. We had to walk down and get those. Staff was so busy on cell phone at front desk that it took them time to acknowledge us…not the end of the world but unprofessional. I asked for extra blankets. My hubby sleeps hot and likes AC and I freeze so I wanted extras. We were told twice that all were in use in rooms until we handed someone a $20 and lo and behold they found extras right away. Overall the hotel probably needs a new GM and some money dumped in to bringing up to standards. We've stayed at many Best Western and this was by far the worst.
Beautiful quiet & clean hotel off the main drag, easy walk to great restaurants. Loved the staff & rooms and happy hour was a wonderful surprise! Breakfast (not a big deal for us) was really nice too.
We did a late night stop on our way to Denver. The facility was easy to find - 1 block off of I-90 in Liberty Lake. The room was nice and quiet even though there were many kids in the facility (Summer Vacation). They have a beautiful indoor pool that is available 24 hours per day. The place is within a block or two of a variety of eating or drinking establishments. We tried True Legends across the street - it was a great choice.
I stayed here one night with my husband on a road trip. Clean rooms. Quiet even though next to a freeway. Great breakfast and nice happy hour in the evening. Everyone was super friendly. We would stay here again.
Great place to stay' great value ! We were travelling thru and did not have a reservation however the front staff helped us cheerfully and quickly. There was happy hour when we checked in which was a fun surprise. There was many options to chose from and the attendant was friendly. There are restaurant options within easy walking distance. Breakfast had many choices. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Our Robotics Team spent 2 nights here and it was just perfect. We had 50 people and the breakfast was the best, hot items were delicious, waffles, bacon, egg dishes. And, we used the breakfast room for our nightly meetings that even had a pool table. Rooms were clean and large. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. To top it off there is a new Tesla Service Center going in next door and the supercharger stations were working and we charged our T-100 which saved us tons of time.
This hotel is new. Great condition. Super comfortable bed. Far enough from the interstate to be quiet. Very close to the centennial trail which is a great place for a nice walk. Paved and right along the river.
My husband and I and our 2 dogs stayed here during my 5 week radiation treatment in Oct-Nov 2021. Staff was excellent on every level and facilities suited our needs. So now we are back for Chemotherapy Treatment and staff knows us and go out of there way to meet our every need.
Admitting was VERY good, very nice and helpful gal at checking, later at "happy hour" gal tending it was REALLY helpful and nice and very personable, I would hier her for my company! Checkout was whatever, gal was on the phone didn't even look at me. Overall great experience, pricey, but hey I don't think a room should be more than $40.!
Excellent stay! Loved the Thursday Night hor d'oeuvres and drink and hot breakfast each morning. We enjoyed the perfect temperature of the pool and jacuzzi. Our room was clean and we used the microwave and the mini fridge.
Excellent front desk service. Pool and spa is open for 24 hours. Happy hour was much appreciated after a long drive, offered beer or wine 2 drinks complimentary with salsa, chips and pretzels. Clean environment. 4 floors. Very nice lounge and breakfast areas. Pool table in lounge. Very nice hot and cold breakfast items. Right off of I-90 highway. Nice suite rooms. King bed is firm. 4 pillows. Hairdryer provided. Very happy with our stay.
Convenient location by freeway with an excellent Restaurant next to hotel. Excellent breakfast, much better than the normal. Housekeeping could be improved, poor job of vacuuming. Room needs updating. Entire staff outstanding.
How is this inn ranked a plus. When I arrived the toilet had feces and cleanser in it. The shower did not work properly. Stains on carpet. Promised a hot breakfast only to confront a sign the following morning that would not happen.
This was surprise for the price point. Very nice room, quiet and comfortable. The added morning breakfast was a real treat with lots of choices and clean surroundings. The only complaint would be the elevator, which was noticeably slow. The location was perfect for our needs, with quick access to Post Falls and CDA Idaho, plus Spokane and the surrounding area. A very nice experience.
I was visiting my daughter for my grandsons first birthday. They live in Post Falls. It was only a couple minutes down the road. Overall It was a nice stay. Nothing that would make me not want to stay there. I however did think it was odd that a large part of the parking lot was Harley Davidson Parking only painted on the parking spots at the hotel when I arrived. I thought am i staying at a biker hotel? I was at the hotel for two nights and was there off and on during the day and evenings. I never once saw a free cookie in the free cookie offering. As far as the room there were two lights burned out over the sink, which I would think would be fixed even though it was plenty bright. I did find a lighter and a handful of change between the couch cushions in the couch in the room. Also the toilet filled up several times when not using it. It was the very first time that I have stayed at a hotel that there was no maid service for the three days and two nights that I was there. Maybe its just the area but I just thought over $160 a night was a lot I would think more like $120. I always felt safe, and I only ever saw two Harleys, and they parked near the front door.
This hotel is short staffed. I had a reservation and room was not complete for check in. There was fecal matter on the floor, in the public restroom. To be fair, if they had more help, this could be a great place to stay. Centrally located to many amenities. Room was clean.
Staff use Covid 19 as an excuse to to do any serious cleaning. I heard this multiple times. If they took is seriously they would each be wearing a mask, as required in Washington State and use gloves when cleaning. I saw zero cleaning going on in the common areas, such as the elevator, door handles, tables, front desk were guests are constantly touching that area. Prime breeding grounds for Covid.
We stayed 2 nights. Our experience was awesome. Maria kept the dining area spotless, makes certain all units are working properly, had a large variety of food items, fresh and/or packaged. She's happy, friendly, and pleasant to talk with, very attentive, ready to serve and sensitive to her customers' requests/needs. She made excellent rosemary potatoes and had biscuits in a warmer; there were 2 waffle irons available; one made regular size & the other made 4 smaller size (my favorite); all are not offered at other BWs we've experienced. Anna, at front desk Front, is very friendly, pleasant, happy, very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. We arrived late morning, she told us our room wasn't ready; she gave us an estimated time it'd be ready; we called prior to estimated time & room was ready. Rooms are like new & very clean; everything worked. Our king bed was very comfy with soft sheets. There's Happy Hour Monday – Thursday 5PM to 7PM! Location is around 17 miles (an easy drive) to/from Coeur D'Alene. We definitely recommend this hotel.
My standards for hotels are pretty high, and this one makes the grade. Rooms were big, clean and comfy. The hot breakfast was nice. We took advantage of Happy Hour and used the pool table. Staff were super friendly and helpful. This place really cares about their guests.
New, well kept and maintained, very clean. Great happy hour! Nice lounge and game area. Great breakfast.,very clean area too. huge selection, well stocked, hot food hot cold food cold. Welcoming and very friendly staff.
We checked in to find our room cleaning had not been completed. Bed was made but there were dirty towels in the bathroom and no clean towels, toiletries or kleenex in the room. The carpet was also dirty. We called the desk and they sent a pleasant young man to do a quick cleaning, vacuuming and towel service. It delayed our dinner plans about 40 minutes. He advised me to ask at the desk for tissues as there weren't any in the stock room. On the way back from dinner I stopped at the desk to pick them up. Next morning at check out the desk clerk, who appeared to be about 18 years old, recognized us pleasantly, asked about our stay and printed our receipt ($196.00 including taxes). My husband asked if Best Western would compensate us for our time and inconvenience of the previous evening. She said she wasn't authorized to offer any discounts. He asked to speak with the manager, and when she returned she replied "he wants to know what you want." My husband answered "$50?" She left and spoke with him - we could see them talking through his office window - she returned and said she'd give us a 20% discount and would email us a receipt because the math would take a few minutes. I told her I would wait for it. She printed the receipt again and she had taken $20 off. I replied "that's not 20%." She said he told her to take off 20% which would be approximately $20. We asked again to speak with him and she said unfortunately no, this was all she could do. He lied to her and to us, indirectly, and apparently took us for fools. I did tell her we'd be writing a review.
Hotel is good for travelers without pets. Area for pets to relieve themselves is a steep drainage ditch in rear or an equally steep retention pond in front. Poop bag dispenser was broken and empty. We had our own, but no receptacle was available. Currently major construction across road is noisy and very congested.
The pool and hot tub were in desperate need of cleaning. The hot tub was green. There were bugs crawling on the floor in the pool area. The soap dispensers in both our rooms were not working or completely empty. Broken towel bar and no hand soap to wash our hands by the sink.
We have stayed here many times over the years. The rooms are clean. The beds are great. It is convenient to Interstate I-90. It is also close to some very nice restaurants. The breakfast venue is small, in as much as seating is limited, but the breakfast offerings are quite extensive. Usually, this property offers a no-cost Happy Hour every evening. Last night we each had a glass of nice wine and some munchies.
We had originally booked our Silverwood weekend at a far less reputable motel. Fortunately we were able to cancel that stay after seeing that motel in person and moved onto this Best Western at the last minute. What a relief!
We were on a 3 day tour with a high school aged steel drum band our daughter played in. There were 25 kids, 1-2 parents per kid & a few other family members. Liberty Lake Best Western was very accommodating to our large group & we had a great experience there.
I enjoyed my overnight stay here during my rushed road trip. The hotel was clean and in new condition. There are nearby dining options as well as a gas station and convenience store. My room was quiet. I couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. There was a good selection of TV channels including HBO. This hotel served my needs very well.
We had problems with my wife being able to access the bed, toilet stuff, sometimes late response to cleaning. Maintenance and front desk staff helped us with every problem. Maintenance people were especially helpful when seen in the corridors, at breakfast, and when asked. 24 hour pool is outstanding
We've stayed at this hotel for a number of days over the past 12 months or less. I chose it for convenience to I-90 East West travel and the area is new and growing. The hotel is clean and people especially nice, friendly and helpful. Never be afraid to ask for their help.
This hotel is a well taken care of facility. Breakfast has a great selection and staff was very attentive to cleanliness. Easy access to interstate as additional amenities (food, grocery, dining). Pool and hot tub were clean and appropriate temperatures.
Quiet Rooms, very clean, HOT shower, plenty of parking, and now again have begun serving the Complete Breakfast. Had by far the most outstanding (from scratch) morning breakfast spuds ever, we cleaned-up on those. The Staff at this location is Very Attentive, we notice this and appreciate it. It's our 4th stay here, and the Owners are making continuous upgrades, outside, inside common area's, and in the rooms. We will be back to this location when heading thru, thank you for the great stay, r/ John T Silverdale,WA
I've stayed at this location several times. The customer service is always top notch, The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The location makes it easy to get to and from the hotel, yet it's away from the hustle and bustle of Spokane.
We would most definitely stay here again. Worth the extra bucks for a quiet place to rest after a long day of driving. Very clean and extreemly comfortable beds. Decent breakfast options; cold cereal, juice, coffee, toast, bagels, etc.
Good safety measures Nice room.... large bathroom and sink area The fitness room was very, very small and the cardio equipment didn't work. The hot tub was broken. But we were there for family so that didn't matter too much. Though a nice hot tub would've been nice in cold February
We enjoyed our overnight stay. Window was difficult to close fully, with a small gap, due to the window sitting a bit crooked. We played with it a bit and got it to close. It did not disturb our comfort in any way. Also found a sticky spill on the carpet, which we were able to clean with water. It was probably unnoticed by the vacuum cleaner, but discernible walking with stocking feet. Again, did not disturb our overall sense of comfort..
Newly renovated and a few cosmetic projects needed to be finished in the room but didn't pose any problems. In our room, the vanity was open to the sleeping area so that was a bit disruptive when sleeping. In all, it was a very nice room, clean, and very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel needs to upgrade towels and furniture. Comfortable bed in a nice sized room. Good location if visiting Idaho or Washington and by freeway. Located next to a great BBQ restaurant. Very reasonably priced.
Very welcoming and inviting staff. Have no complaints or negative encounters to speak of. They need to bring the cleanliness of their pool and jacuzzi up. It needs some attention definitely. In my room shower was barely luke warm.
This hotel was absolutely great. Friendly and helpful staff, all were smiling (you could hear it in their voice) rooms were clean, the breakfast bar was clean and open. Quick check in. I felt that I was important to them.
This was the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. The constant door slamming was overwhelmingly loud. It shook the walls and rattled our door each time. We can hear water whistling in the pipes when someone turns the water on. We can hear the people next to us talking. We can hear the people above us stomping around. It sounds like a heard of elephants when a few people walk down the hall. Cars are parked right outside our window so we hear the engines, people and music from the cars. We had a break from the door slamming from 11:30pm to 5 am. If you need to sleep longer than that stay somewhere else. We were here for a tournament at the HUB. There are hotels in Spokane Valley that are just as close as this one. Next time we will stay there. Oh and the room was not super clean...chip crumbs on the couch, floor not vacuumed, and hair in the bathroom. But this was even overshadowed the overwhelming noise.
Active construction during our stay no laundry no spa or pool (chemicals not Covid) I went to reception re; Fridge broken the manager looked at me and ignored me manager also walked around facility of 3 days not wearing a mask
Nothing extraordinary or unsettling. Was visiting town to pick up a service dog which I made very clear when I made the reservation. Although that information was clearly noted I was still charged a pet fee. If I have not learned anything in the last 18 months, I definitely have learned that I need to check, double check and triple check everything for accuracy.
Stayed one night (too many) on Oct. 30, 2020. Motel was far from capacity. Location was convenient but that was the only plus. Requested a room on back side of hotel. Was given key for a room on front overlooking a roof. No view whatsoever and unable to view our vehicle from the room. Had to leave room, walk to end of hallway to see it thru a window. At check-in I was asked to fill out our to-go breakfast choices. At check-out I had to ask for the to-go bags. Very poor food quality. Tossed all but the granola bars and juices. Absolutely no confidence that Covid-19 precautions are being taken at this hotel. No notice at front desk and no info or evidence of sanitizing in-room. Bare minimum essentials provided. No extra towels or toiletry items. But there is a long list of items your account will be charged if you steal. TV, pillows, towels, lamps, etc., and I was worried that we would be wrongly accused and charged after the stay with no way to prove we were not thieves. Poor hotel quality for the $$ we paid. Will not stay again and certainly will not recommend this hotel to other guests.
The front desk boy super rude and not very knowledgeable. Room was gross did not clean the phone or remotes and can't dust and the desk has food from I am not sure when yuck! I have stayed in cheep last small hotels that are better they should not be a plus
Great stay at the BW Liberty Lake. Traveling across the country and had a wonderful time at this hotel. Great staff and very nice rooms. Clean and comfy beds. Great breakfast bag option and staff was very nice and helpful.
I came out for business and had a great experience. Staff went above and beyond to help me with an issue (you know who you are, Elizabeth). Good hotel for a fair, modest price (about $100/night). I didn't use the pool but it looked like a good, clean one if you are looking for a hotel with one. Also, great coffee, supermarket, food, gas, and shops within a mile of the hotel.
Stayed here for a week in October 2020, Very nice room on fourth floor, king size comfortable bed, clean room, nice couch/desk/lamps, coffee pot/microwave/fridge in room, bathroom was a bit small, but had a separate area in the room with Sink/mirror/counter. Very wonderful staff, everyone we met all week! Clean hotel and quiet rooms. I only wish I would have used Priceline to book instead of my BW membership, would have saved a couple hundred dollars.
BEWARE!!!! Make sure to check your bank statement after you stay here. My wife, kids and I stayed here. The hotel was ok. Not great but not bad. When we got home my wife was looking at our bank statement and saw a 250$ charge. We contacted the hotel. Thier story changed several times but either we were charged because someone smoked pot in our room or maybe it was just cigarettes. They in no way tried to contact us to let us know we would be charged. We told the hotel that none of us smoke so there must be some mistake. We were told that it was thier word against ours. It gets a little more shady still. We asked to talk to managers and were told they were in meetings each time we called. We found out we had been speaking with the manager the whole time. We contacted Best Western corporate they could not help. We have disputed the charge and are waiting to hear.
Traveling during Covid-19 this place scored high in cleanliness and observing their own mask policy. Rooms were big, beds comfortable, and would stay here again. They did offer a breakfast but we declined to avoid any unnecessary expose. The place looks new, not sure how old it is but everything inside looks well taken care of and in good order.
I thought this Hotel was pet friendly. We checked in thinking that Best Western was pet friendly we checked into a room and then got kicked out because our dogs weighed more than 30 lb and we never got our refund back for the room for one night and we got charged for our pet deposit $30.the manager Sue was supposed to give us our money back for the room since we couldnt stay there and I never recieved it back. I was charged $243 and I never got that money back. Sue should have gave me my money back right then but she was too busy on the phone to even talk to me. False advertisement.
The Library Lake Best Western Plus is a nice hotel and seems to be kept very well. Reasonable rates and easy access from Interstate 90 are both a bonus! The staff is friendly and the bed was very comfortable! I will definitely stay here again.
I am so super impressed with the customer service I received, as well as the quality of amenities, location, ease of check-out, and friendly staff. Oh, and the price was right on for the modern King suite I stayed in. I can't say enough good things about my experience at Best Western Plus. Way to go!
The hotel was very clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I stayed here because it was very close to my sister's house. The hotel has very easy access off of I-90 near the Idaho-Washington border. I love the Best Western Plus brand, but in general I would say this is not as nice as they typically are. Room decor is dated and worn, but very clean. The bed was comfortable. Pubic group rooms were appropriately closed due to CoVid. My real issue is related to the CoVid precautions. The Spokane are is seeing increasing CoVid numbers at this time. In our 2 night stay we did not see a staff member wearing a mask. At check in there are no physical barriers such as a plexiglass screen (which would allow staff to safely not wear masks) or a simple barrier such as a table in front of desk to keep the public distanced from staff. The next night I stayed on a BW+ in the very small town of Orofino, Idaho that had taken appropriate precautions - even though there have been zero cases in their county. Because of CoVid, their typical breakfast was replaced with pre-packaged Grab & Go style. With the limits in place, they did an okay job with that. Since I am on a low carb diet, there were no options for me. I'm okay with that because the options for pre-packaged food are limited.
Think twice before staying here at the liberty lake location. Staying in room 307 today with my boyfriend. Went to go get food and caught the front desk girl in our room. Apparently extra sexual activity is part of her new covid 19 room speciality. Embarrassing and the most disgusting, unprofessional and most unforgettable, lesson learned, experience. Cant believethat people actually do thos at work and know that pregnant girlfriend will be leaving and clear her room card so she cant get back in,so that this sort of thing is even thought of let alone done. Regardless pouring rain and having to get a ride with all luggage i managed to grab so i quickly could leave before i ended up going to jail for lossing my cool in the most hurtful and devastating moment of my life. I will never stay at a best western and will tell all of this experience and the video i took to prove it happened at this hotel chain. Thanks best western for keeping it classy..... Shannon James
In qeneral the service, breakfast and rooms were excellent. I would say “ stay at a BW before a none chain motel. There prices are very close and the excellent upkeep is worth the little extra compared to a “ Bargain hotel”
Furniture needs some upgrading and repairs are pretty sad. I would not expect this of a BWP. The breakfast saves the day though. The breakfast was amazing. I do wish they would stop sliding the bill under the door because the sliding across the tile always wakes me up.
The hotel is wonderful and the staff is super friendly. They have everything one could need and the social hour was fun. The worst part is the sleeping aspect which is the most important whilst staying at a hotel. They had 4 choices of pillows on the bed from soft to hard. Pretty cool until you realize each pillow is a 1'x1' square. For a person who moves this became extremely frustrating to stay asleep. It had to be the most uncomfortable sleep I have ever had at a hotel and I stay in hotels 60+ days a year.
This is unfortunately hard to type as we love staying at Bestwesterns and never feel we are taking a chance, Liberty Lake Bestwestern has issues for sure, the staff are friendly but not engaged. The hotel is not very clean and we would not lay it on the staff. The hotel has a smell that some might find disturbing as for the pool and hot tub well look to see if you think you should get in. We will not stay at this location again, the convienence of the local area is just not enough.
Met with smiles from the moment we entered. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were sparkling! EVER single person we encountered from front desk to housekeeping was kind and had a huge smile. It was very refreshing!
Best western plus peppertree inn at liberty lake is one of my favorite places to stay. They are always so kind and courteous to all their guests. I stay for business and for family trips when I am near Spokane.
For the cost of the room, I give this an average rating. The front desk person was helpful and pleasant, but the room, housekeeping and food was substandard. The lighting fixture in the room was broken and damaged, yet no one has bothered to replace it. Paint drips are located on grey tile throughout the bathroom giving it that "Cheap fix Motel 6 look." While body wash, shampoo and conditioner are complimentary and located in shower dispensers ....by the time I got done pushing each dispenser 50 times (not kidding) to get the proper amount for shampooing and conditioning I was plumb wore out and extremely frustrated. The breakfast is always a nice addition which is included in the price, however, they could make some adjustments in the way that the food is cooked to make it a bit tastier. Some of it was simply inedible. I found the mattress extremely comfortable. My poor rating for cleanliness is due to couch pillows that end up on the floor most of the time (or under someone's street clothes or their pet) being placed directly on my 'clean bottom sheet' and up against my sleeping pillows with the top sheet and blankets pulled back. That is a pretty big No NO. Overall, you should have a decent stay here as long as you are not expecting luxury or attention to details. (I travel frequently and have stayed in just about every hotel available). I hope you find this review helpful.
Had to make 2 different reservations because of member points use. Asked reservations if I had to check in twice because of it and they said no because they were together. First night was good, but came back the next day after shopping to find the room not made up and key card not working. LA couple hours after supposedly straightening things out someone tried to enter our room. The front desk had checked him into this room while we were there. Had we decided to go out, this guy would have had access to our laptops, cameras and luggage. No communication between cleaning staff to say our stuff was still there at cleaning time, front desk staff to look into the reasons why and central reservations My wife didn't feel safe in the room that night and when the manager contacted us the next day, he apologized and offered us points from Best Western corporate and, as we already received a 10% discount for being a Best Western Rewards member ,which made us feel like we were not as valued as full paying customers , he would offer us a $8.55 discount on our room and hoped that we would visit again in the future.
Visited this location a number of times recently, as it is on my way to see my Folks. Good service, friendly staff, nice breakfast, good wi-fi connection, convenient. Bathroom was small and cramped....
This is a wonderful place. Clean and friendly. The rates of the rooms are very competitive. The options of breakfast, pool, and quick access to the freeway is an ideal location. Place is always clean and functional.
Great breakfast, I look forward to it every visit. Variety, more than a typical hotel continental. Good service, easy to find a staff person. Nice stay, we'll be back. Great location, easy to access freeway. Nice nearby restaurants, Starbucks & frozen yogurt shop.
The hotel was nice. Needs to have the paint in the rooms freshened up. The pool open 24hrs and the game room was a very big plus to the stay. Quite area after the hustle and bustle of Downtown Spokane. Great place to just get away.
The staff are very nice and and the rooms are extremely clean! I stay at this hotel a lot for work, and I have a bunch of different options to stay at. I always want to stay here if there's is availability.
I stayed at one in Liberty Lake, Washington with my wife and kids and we enjoyed it so much the kids barely wanted to leave for our scheduled vacation events. With a swimming pool, televisions all around the recreational room, pool table, video game machines, and great food. We will choose Best Western every time
Great hotel location is perfect right off of freeway for easy access, great breakfast options has everything a guest would need. Staff is what makes the hotel stand out the most to me they are extremely helpful
We have stayed at this hotel several times and like the remoteness so we don't have to worry about our vehicle. Always clean, food is good, and the staff is very friendly. Only problem with our last visit was lack of hot water for showers. Would however, recommend this hotel to others.
Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was well appointed, clean and quiet. The breakfast was unexpectedly great. Off and on the freeway was easy. Wifi was fast, who could ask for more.......not me
Close to our destination at Liberty Lake. Clean facility, check-in was speedy, lots of parking. The room was clean and modern. It's close to stores, golf courses. Breakfast was a delight. Attendants did a great job of keeping everything stocked .
We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was spacious. Elevator to make moving items easy. Speed of cheaking in was prompt. Full fridge ,microwave, modern stylish sink, room gave a spacious feel. Great for doing business and leisure .Would stay again.
Easy in Easy out Breakfast outstanding, Bar across the street, gas next door, right off the freeway, quiet clean and well organized, great staff, easy parking and very clean! Will stay there again on our next trip!
I travel for business and stay here often. I really appreciate the mon thru thurs evening "happy hour" as it appeals to my frugal ways. It keeps me from spending too much at the restaurant. The social bartender is a great person. Very helpful and accomodating, high energy and knows the local area. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. I try to Stay at Best Western as much as possible and this is one of my favorites. The breakfasts are above average even for Best Westerns'.
We stopped here on our way from West Yellowstone to Northern Washington. Check in was efficient, staff was friendly. Husband got a good tip on a jogging trail. The room was clean, ambiance pleasant. Beds were comfortable. It was very quiet at night! There was some painting going on, not a problem for us. Breakfast was excellent, the room kept well stocked and clean. See photos. Absolutely recommend this well managed motel!
With exception of a couple Room Material Issues, it went very well! Our Jack Russell's loved it, the Hotel Staff (Devon), Social Bartender, Breakfast Service Staff, all were outstanding and for me, this is what makes the 'Stay' at a hotel for me, they treated us right without kissing our _ssess, you know what I mean, appreciate all of your efforts!
If we were concerned with the traffic noise, being so close to I 90, we needn't have been. This place lives up to Best Western standards and then some. We were greeted upon arrival and invited to Happy Hour in the Guest Lounge, once we were checked in. The staff were very friendly and made our Anniversary Get-away very special.
This hotel was by far the worst hotel that I have ever been to in my entire life. To start things off, WE FOUND HUMAN FECES INSIDE OF THE POOL and the hot tub was filthy. They didn't even do much to clean the pool. The housekeeping was also horrible, they only gave us 2 towels for 5 people and they didn't bother to change the dirty towels on the second day. They said that they would clean the room but all they did was sloppily make the beds. They also didn't provide any trash bags and they trash cans were broken. The microwave also ad a very foul odor and both the sink and toilet were clogged. The curtains were ripped and there is so much more that i have lost count. 10/10 would NOT recommend to anyone who doesnt want to have a horrible stay. I would very much love a refund!
We stayed at the Best Western Liberty Lake as our family had tickets to go to Silverwood on the weekend. The hotel was about 40-45 minutes away and was easy to travel to and from. There were many restaurants and shopping options nearby. Friends had already booked another hotel that was booked when we decided to join them. However, the Best Western was MUCH better than their hotel in many aspects, such as our breakfast was much better, our wifi was better (their's only worked in their lobby and our wifi worked everywhere). We would definitely book the Best Western again!
Stayed here to visit Silverwood, 30 minutes away from hotel. Breakfast were great, staff was friendly but AC system wasn't sufficient at cooling room. Pool and hot tube were great and very clean. For the price it is the best option in the area.
For me the location is ideal. Close to work and friends. The problem is that the hotel needs a renovation and while it was great 3 years ago when I stayed there for the first time, it now looks too old compared with the competition.
We were on our way home after a trip and decided to stop early in the day. The front desk staff at this establishment was outstanding and since I generally stay at BW Plus facilities I could rate them as one of the best. The room was large and well furnished with the beds very comfortable. Easy on/off access to the Interstate and 3 restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was good and I was satisfied with our choices. I would stay here again.
Our family was nearing the end of a 3 week family road trip vacation when we stayed at this BW plus for 1 night. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful with advice on nearby restaurants. We were upgraded to a family suite which was a nice touch after 3 weeks on the road. The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean. The complimentary breakfast was average. We could not use the bathroom exhaust fan as the bearings were shot and emitted a loud screeching sound. Front desk staff were receptive and made a note for maintenance to fix the exhaust fan. My son and I were not impressed with the pool or the hot tub. The water in the hot tub appeared cloudy from accumulated use and needed cleaning. The pool had sand on the bottom and hair floating in the water. It appeared that the pools filtration system was not working or inefficient.
Many of the previous complaints for months or longer from other reviewers are still true. The pool is still cold, the hide-a-way bed in the family suite is still broken in our room. The air conditioning is broken in our room. The fan works, but the air does not cool. The rooms are dirty, the pain is chipping. I have never stayed in a BW-Plus in this poor of condition. The front desk girl however, was kind and tried to accommodate us the best she could. We let them know about all the problems, and apparently according to the reviews, others have let them know as well. The owner would, in my view, be compared to a hotel "slum lord" since nothing is getting fixed. I think the "plus" is false advertising and should be removed from the name. I will never stay here again. Furthermore, it makes me reconsider ever staying at a BW of any type in the future.
I stay at a lot of Best Western properties, and I am familiar with their tiers. This one was not a BW Plus, more in line with their standard offering. I would have expected a nicer more modern hotel. On a positive note, motorcycle designated parking was a nice touch.
We've stayed at this property several times and have never been disappointed. The rooms a clean and functional, the staff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts are fresh and plentiful and the experience is always top rate.
If I could give 11 stars I would! We were so welcomed when checking in to the Liberty Lake BW. Jeffrey and Megan were so kind and helpful. After getting into our clean, spacious room, we asked if they would provide us a bucket of water and rags to clean bugs off our bikes. They were the only BW on our trip that knew exactly what we were requesting and provide us each with a bucket, rags and even checked on us if we needed anything else. The laundry room was clean and both washer and dryer worked great…$1 each. We were able to park our bikes by the front door which was very nice. They have a pool table that helped us wind down for the evening after a great dinner at the next door restaurant. Breakfast in the morning was great! If every in the Spokane/Liberty Lake area, will for sure stay at the BW again! Best experience of all 6 BWs we stayed at during our travels through the NW!
Room was dirty and not clean. Found a bag of marijuana right under the bed. Had 2 kids in the room so thankfully they didnt find it. Turned in to front desk and they acted like it was no big deal. I now know why I only stay at Hilton properties.
We traveled from Arkansas to Spokane Valley to accompany our daughter and her family on their move here. To say we were very tired upon arrival would be an understatement. Upon arrival we found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was wonderful and it felt good to get a good nights rest. We originally planned to stay two nights while everyone unpacked everything from the move, but decided to stay an extra night so the granddaughter could spend a little time in the swimming pool. Breakfast was awesome with a good variety. The cookies in the afternoon were awesome as well. Y'all didn't disappoint me in any way. It was a very pleasurable stay.
Lots of amenities and we loved the recreation area . The staff was friendly and breakfast has plenty of options. It is a great place to stay with children . They even have a happy hour in the recreation room
Relaxing and nice place. Great location with easy access to lakes, hiking, trail riding, Silverwood water and amusement park. The views from our suite were as breathtaking as the fresh clean air. Plenty of casual dining locations to accommodate the most finicky taste buds
Our overnight stay was great. The room was nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. Everything looked new and clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good with the usual options of eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, juice and coffee.
One of the best hotels on our vacation. Very friendly personnel, convenient to highway, clean, quiet and the breakfast was excellent with great variety. We would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.
Dirty, poorly maintained, dirty, noisy, poor follow through with complaints and if you have any kind of medical condition (especially PTSD) do NOT stay here!!! Oh did i say it was dirty... They say they are Pet friendly but there is No decent place to walk your Service dog unless you want to go to the field across the street that is riddled with glass, trash and syringes! I would say, on the positive side, if you have children and you don't care about cleanliness, this is the hotel for you! The pool is open 24hrs. For those of you looking for a restful night sleep...don't go; (at lease if they put you on the lower 2 floors, I can't speak of the others) For those looking for a decent breakfast, this they do have! The gal that takes care of this (at least while I was there) works single handedly to make sure it is hot, well stocked and keeps the dining room clean, all while maintaining a nice attitude and a smile!!!
I'm a Best Western Platinum Rewards member. I've stayed in a lot of Best Western motels. This is the first negative review I've written. But this was so bad it needs to be said. First, my wife emerged from the start of her shower telling me there was no soap, no shampoo, and no lotion in the dispensers. Hey, these are big dispensers so for all three to be completely empty it must have been a loooong time since anyone checked them. Second, there is no bedside clock. A small thing, but important to me. Third, the worst, at around 2 AM a rhythmic foghorn sounding hotel machinery sound jarred us from out sleep. This went on for about an hour before ending. Trust me when I say, it was LOUD! Fourth, as a platinum member the client is supposed to have an upgraded room. I gave them my membership number when I called this motel for a reservation a good 8 hours before arrival. I got in late,in the dark. This-morning I drew the window curtains open and found a large hotel machinery unit with massive air ducts on a roof 10 feet from my window. Not only noisy but what a great view. This motel stinks. Stay away.
Loved the free breakfast! The hotel was clean with good amenities. There's a few restaurants nearby as well as shopping. We mostly stayed here for a quick overnight before heading back on the road and it was perfect for that! Overall value was absolutely excellent and I'd definitely stay here again!
Love the atmosphere! Staff was great and rooms were clean!! Would definitely stay here again! Close to a lot of local restaurants. 24 hour pool and great breakfast. Don't forget to get 2 free drinks during happy hour for best western reward members!
We arrived at 5pm and the staff was cleaning our room which seemed bizarre. Walls are dirty and need painted throughout, bedspreads stained, lots of damage everywhere in hotel. Sheets seemed clean. Pull out couch mattress horribly stained. Indoor pool not heated and filthy. I dont think the pool or hot tub are maintained. Both dirty and cloudy. Kids were so excited to swim but it was too cold and I made them shower after. Gross. Plaster called off ceiling in pool room. Best parts: comfy beds, EXCELLENT breakfast. Very nice staff. Overall the WORST Best Western we have stayed in.
Quick friendly clean. Breakfast has lots of options and always stays stocked and clean. The room was very clean never ran out of clean towels! Internet high speed. The staff is friendly and always there when you need them!
This hotel is old and has had a five gallon makeover. Rooms are noisy and just OK. Access doors are never locked which makes you think anyone can enter at will. Front desk was not interested in serving us when we checked and there was no line up.
Upon arrival, Thursday March 21st, 2019, hotel had our 8 rooms scattered throughout hotel, after 30 minutes it was rectified. Rooms were booked in November 2018. Beds comfortable except pillows are literally size of throw pillows. Next morning, while showering, noticed shower curtain bar was barely attached to wall and would not permit curtain to stay closed in front, dumping water all over floor. Complimentary breakfast was awesome and we'll stocked for entire stay After most of our group left for day on Friday March 22nd, 2019 in the AM there was a large water leak a few rooms away from ours. The hotel turned off water to entire property without letting anyone know. My wife was getting ready to take shower and called me and said no water. Our rooms were not affected by water leak although there were many rooms that were. Upon returning to room after being out for day on Saturday March 23 2019 when attempting to enter through side door, keycard did not work. Entered hotel through main entrance and proceeded to room, keycard did not work. Keycards did not work for 2 other rooms in our group. I returned to front desk and asked why cards were shut off, they could not give answer. I asked for manager (Annie) and asked her same question, she could not answer, instead blame was placed on me for possibly "de-magnetizing" keycard. I assured her that was not the case. Security issue; There is a rear door with keycard access directly to elevator foyer This doors keycard lock is missing and crashbar is locked open. This means ANYONE has access to hotel and elevator. I asked front desk clerk if door can be locked, he went and looked at lock and said no. I cannot recommend this hotel
This was a nice Best Western hotel. The breakfast area has an adjoining great room type space with pool table for guests. We did not have time to try the pool, but it looked nice. Breakfast was good. Best Western is pet friendly, but does charge extra for a pet. We stayed as we were passing through on a cross-country winter road trip, the only room available was a king suite. The pull out sofa-bed, which we used for kids, was one of the cheaper, thinner ones I've seen, and not comfortable, plus it was broken. But the king bed was blissfully comfortable. Comfy pillows and duvet.
If you are registered as a Best Western customer, take advantage of the 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM complimentary beer or wine plus snacks and meet other customers to share information. We had a top floor room which was extremely quiet
Clean, quiet, with a great breakfast, super staff. Very easy access off the interstate with lots of choices for eating out or having pizza delivered. I will stay again on my way back and forth from Montana
This property, among what BW calls its "Plus" brand of motels, is perhaps the worst BW I have ever stayed at (and believe me, I have stayed at loads of MB's all over the world). Where do I begin? Well, for starters, there was a party going on when we checked in that had spilled into the hallway in front of our room. I asked the night "manager" when it would stop and he assured me that it wound end at midnight. Well, it didn't and at 2am I had to call and demand that he do something. He did not. Next up, a drain in the only sink in the room was clogged. I didn't bother calling that in. If a "manager" couldn't contain a party in his hotel, what did I expect him to be able to do about a clogged sink? Answer: nothing. Parking is adequate but not near the room. The breakfast is pathetic. All total, and after a nearly-equal bad experience at a Plus property in Billings, and after many years as a BW customer, I have decided to hang it up. I will avoid BW properties. Highly recommended that you not stay at Liberty Lake Inn and proceed a couple of miles down Interstate 90 to the Mirabeau Inn in Veradale, Washington, which is where we ended up and were very satisfied with the experience at a price that was nearly equal to the BW.
We thought this was a great basic hotel. It was super convenient to the highway 90. Close to the Spokane valley mall. On our trip we were in Coeur d'Alene to golf show and eat as well as Spokane to shop (Trader Joe's), so this was in the middle. The comp breakfast and happy hour very well done. Breakfast was fairly extensive for a comp buffet. Waffles pancakes maple syrup eggs (scramble and rounds for sandwich) cereal toast bagel English muffin biscuits and gravy ham bacon fruit yogurt cream cheese. The happy hour had beer and wine as well as snacks ( ham, salsa, chips, pretzel, peanuts cheese and crackers. The bartender, John, was super friendly and attentive. It's not the Ritz but seemed really good value for what you received.
The BW Liberty lake is in an ideal location for shopping at Spokane valley mall and other outlets with you generally only 15 minutes away. There are several eating options within walking distance , pizza place and the sports bar “Legends” only a 2 minute walk and good drink and food. We had breakfast in the morning both days and it was very good and the dining room was kept spotless and a great selection of items. The room was a decent size and also clean with a very comfy bed. There are a couple of strip malls in the area so you can get whatever you need.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff are very accommodating and breakfast is excellent. The area is safe and easy access to the freeway. The facility is clean and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
Good basic stay off freeway. Ample parking. Small eateries and gas station next to property. Hotel clean and well kept. Some areas showing age. Daily breakfast good, basic, hearty. Dining room and play room with ample seating for breakfast. Property looks to have had a renovation done some years ago. Still looks good. Clean, kept, and feels safe. Swimming pool and jacuzzi looks clean and maintained and are equipped with hoists for those in wheelchairs wishing to get in and out of the water. Insert praise and applause for this here. . Few problems experienced: . 1. Noisy creaking floors above us. Room above guest room 201 needs to be looked at. You could hear every creaking footstep guests made up there. Condition reported to front desk. Highly doubt if report made it to property management. Same report being submitted to BW corporate offices by this author. Please avoid room 201 until condition rectified. . 2. Cabinet door where refrigerator is housed is missing. Refrigerator noise when compressor kicks in. Odd how housekeeping missed this during room check. . 3. Refrigerator in lobby next to front desk is very loud. Rereigerator motor heard throughout the lobby and waiting areas. Odd how property maintenance missed this. . It is what it is. A BW Plus..Clean..Safe..Comfortable..Ample breakfast.
Toilet ran all night. Spots on sheets. Filled with loud kids running amok like they live with wolves. Check in dude was super nice. He should probably find a better property to work at. Where does that terrible bacon come from
Not sure why this is a BW Plus property. Nothing outstanding. Not the greatest location....but clean and comfy with a very good breakfast. Would rate it a 3.5 if I could.Really skimpy on the towels in the room.
This hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are a nice size and our King included a couch and table. All counters were a granite type. Wifi was free and good. Our bed was comfortable. The really good part was the breakfast which included cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage but also included lots of extras like yogurt, waffles (with strawberry topping), cheddar cheese, bagels, muffins, etc. There was lots of room to eat. The lady looking after it was working diligently.
Checked in and was delayed slightly while the staff went our of their way to assist other travelers who were having issues which were ultimately resolved satisfactorily. Most impressive. Our reserved rooms were ready and check-in went smoothly. Rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean and of a good size. Excellent TV and large choice of channels. At 5.00 pm we were treated to a happy hour in the lounge area with drinks of all sorts and a nice selection of snacks. Event was well attended to hotel guests and was a very relaxing way to wind down after a day of golf. The bartender was exceptionally attentive to the guests and made sure everyone's drink was full. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. Pool and hot tub were well kept and good to use.
The room was nice & clean with a good size mini frig & microwave. Bed was comfortable & free wifi. Maintenance & touch ups would be good to give the rooms a clean new look. Did not use pool or breakfast.
Super hotel for the money and location, just over the border from Coeur d'Alene on the Interstate 90. Very comfortable & quiet room along with a fantastic breakfast and Happy Hour Monday - Thursday.. Would recommend this hotel all day long.
We stopped here on our way from Montana out to our beach place in WA. Easy access off the freeway. No significant highway noise in our room. Kids and people in the hall sounded a bit loud but overall quiet and peaceful. Quietest would likely be the 4th floor. Pleasant staff, very accomodating. Toilet/shower/bath self contained in a fairly small area (~ 4.5 x 5.5). Sink, mirror, etc near entrance to room. Complimentary soap very nice. Nice sized room with a comfortable leather couch, desk, roller chair. Flat screen tv with fridge & microwave under in cabinet. King bed that is one of the most comfortable I've slept in. Nice linens. I'm happy to know we are staying here on our return back to Montana in a couple weeks.
This hotel is old. It smells like puke and their best room was nasty. Staff did their best to be accommodating but it was gross. Cleanliness is not a priority at this hotel. Breakfast was terrible. Powdered eggs were used. Coffee was great. Would never go back.
If you do not care for your personal belongings this is a hotel for you! We had two instances. Stayed here for two nights and Upon check in we were given room keys. When we opened the door to “our” room it was occupied with someone else's belongings. We immediately returned to the front desk and were given another room. The following day we went to Silverwood (which was great) and upon returning later in the evening our suite door was open approximately 8”. We went into our room carefully (in case someone was inside) and found the radio from hotel staff left behind. Our door likely being left open for at least 6 or more hours. I did notify the front desk and returned their radio. They apologized and said they would follow up with the employee. No further follow up with myself or explanation. I rarely complain but needed to post this to protect your self. This hotel needs to have a serious review of their policies because two incidents of similar nature in one visit is a serious concern for all. Be careful where you stay!!
Great break, love the walk over the freeway, lots of parking and restaurants around. The helpful desk help was a big help and had great suggestions. Breakfast was well covered and the help had smiles.
We always stop at this hotel, great accommodations, very nice staff, e celebrate breakfast and close to a couple of very good restaurants. Rooms are nicely equipped with lots of room. Great value for the money.
We flew into Spokane, WA and were on our way to ID and MT. Liberty Lake is not far outside Spokane on I-90E with BW lodging prices slightly less than those in the city. Staying there shortened our longer drive the next day. What a lovely hotel! I've nothing bad to say about it. The pool is adjacent to the registration desk. The entrance is at the opposite end, but there's a window in the wall between the pool and the desk, which made me comfortable. Sometimes I swim alone. Not during the stay, though. The pool is larger than many hotel pools and was being used by a number of very nice guests. The water was a bit chilly when getting in, but I warmed up quickly when I began to swim. The rooms were a good size for three adults and two queen beds. I've nothing bad to say about the breakfast buffet; nothing at all. The staff could not have been friendlier. They transmitted a hometown feel. The Assistant Manager, who, for all intents and purposes is now the manager, was there when we checked in and also when we checked out. Although she was on top of things, there was no feeling of dominance. She and every employee were not above performing whatever task needed attention and immediately stopped whatever was being done to attend to a guest's needs. This was a team effort in which every employee I encountered had a vested interest.
I've stayed here 3 times, most recently in July. I've always booked a king suite, and the rooms have been clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is hard to beat. They have biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, bread, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, and a variety of cereal. The staff has always been polite and helpful. I recently had an issue during my July stay where they accidentally double booked me and charged me for two rooms. I made a couple calls to speak to the manager, and after explaining their mistake, she promptly refunded the second charge. The manager and staff were polite and helpful throughout this matter. I highly recommend staying here if your visiting the area, or just looking for a room for the night!
We picked this hotel as it was between Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. We were happy to find 3 walking distance restaurants and a gas station/convenience store right next to the hotel. When we arrived, the front desk person was no where to be found. She came out from the back on the phone and was on the phone during the check-in. She did indicate my BW Rewards status (thanks!) and did let me know they forgot to have housekeeping set up extra towels as requested, but there were brought up to the room soon after arriving. I was happy to get to checked in early. Every time we went by the front desk though (we stayed multiple days) the front desk was backed up with 1 person who was often on the phone and helping check folks in. Not a great system. I will say we didn't get a great room view-wise, but it was a little too warm to keep the curtains open anyway. The room was clean and cool. Somewhat awkward with the 2 large chairs and small table, but spacious enough for our family of 3. Housekeeping was quick each day and were friendly. I was so happy at breakfast to find both gluten free and dairy free items. Thank you! We also enjoyed the coffee and water available throughout the day and also took in 1 week night happy hour which was fun and appreciated. Great snacks and drinks from a friendly, efficient server. The pool sadly was cold. Very cold. No one wanted to go in, but the spa is not allowed for children. So we had told our kiddo there were be swimming each night but instead we found a nearby park with a splash pad and did that instead. Overall, I would recommend. Good location. Nice amenities.
This is a great location if you are RV/Trailer shopping as there are 4 major dealers within a mile of this BW. Our double queen room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Good hot breakfast choices and a happy hour with free drinks in the evening. Maeghan the front desk staff was doing a great job of double duty at the desk and working the bar for Happy Hour. Bathtub spout did not shut off completely so they are wasting a lot of water. While the pool is indoors, my wife said it was really cold to swim in. Would stay here again if I am in the area. Area feels safe with lots of eating choices close by.
Close to I-90. Beds were very comfortable. Small room with two queens and two chairs packed into them. Double vanity/sinks are outside the bath/toilet, which actually worked very well for our two adults and two kids. One elevator which is very overworked in the mornings as housekeeping is out very early and they use it too. Inside Pool looked nice and is in good location. Breakfast was typical fare but had potatoes which was nice. Good waffle maker. Breakfast staff hid in their alcove talking the entire time we were present. Guests were all nice enough to do their own busing. Ice machine wasn't working properly. Halls, floors shows some signs of wear for a new hotel. Overall, good. I'd stay again.
Booked 2 separate rooms through Booking.com, a sales channel Best Western has chosen to use. Arrived and told only had one room. After much discussion, clerk went back to see mgr. who was in pool area. She required me to go out and get my reservation which I did. The reservation was one page, had two separate rooms clearly delineated (Double with 2 queen beds and a king suite) under ONE CONFIRMATION NUMBER from Booking.com. Clerk who had only been employed there 1 week went back to mgr. and informed her of confirmation and relayed my strong request that she come out and talk to me. She refused. She required this confirmation before she would allow her clerk to assign the second room!!! Clerk then assigned the two rooms. A little later mgr. came out to front desk but refused to acknowledge me or talk to me!!! Great customer focus especially in front of a new employee. This entire process took almost a half hour with 6 people sitting in a hot car in front of hotel!!! Other issues included smoke alarm in king room had been removed and only wires dangling from ceiling; ice maker on 3rd floor not working; noise from above with kids running around room and hall. To be fair, Jill the overall assistant mgr. was extremely apologetic for her mgr's actions at check in and provided a credit for our troubles.
2 adults and 2 children stayed 2 nights. We had a double queen room. The room was laid out nicely and came with two lounge chairs and a double vanity outside the bathroom. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The A/C seemed to function well. Breakfast was your usual fare and I give kudos for the lady attending to it as she was constantly smiling despite a huge crowd. The toilet constantly ran, the tub filled when the shower was used and there was no fixture over the bathroom light. We also returned to the hotel in the evening, planning to swim, but were greeted by a sign indicating it was temporarily closed. We also had to go to the front desk for tissues and enough towels and wash cloths. We would likely stay here again.
In the past I stayed often at this Best Western. Not anymore, after the last weeks experience. After check in on Saturday I walked from the lobby to the elevator and noticed an ugly bed sheet tacked to the wall partially covering a big hole. I assume that some work was done on the wall and needed to be covered somehow. The hotel room looked nice, the bed couch a little worn. The bath room light did not work properly. It flickered like crazy. No big problem, I am a practical person. I removed one of the defective fluorescent tubes. Now the light was a bit dim. Not a big problem. I used the desk to do some reports on my laptop. I noticed that the arm rests on the chair were loose. The next morning, I told the front desk person about the light and chair. I was told that the problem would be taken care of. On Sunday at 7 PM I returned from work and nothing was taken care of. I called the front desk and was told that the maintenance person was in my room and was not able to find any problems. Fine with me. These were minor problems anyway. Later on, I finished a work report on my laptop and felt a sudden sharp pain on my upper leg. I inspected the chair more closely: Hotel maintenance (Unless the chair came from Goodwill) attempted to fix the loose armrests (usually attached by threaded metal screws ) by driving 2 wood screws into the chair seat. Since they were too long they were poking the person in the seat (me). I see great potential of injury for a child playing on the chair. And overall this is a totally unacceptable way of fixing things in a hotel. I went to check out the next morning. Next to the front desk, in the laundry room there was a young woman, folding sheets. I asked her for the hotel manager. She told me that she is the manager. I again explained about the problems especially about the sharp wood screws in the chair. She told me that there is no hotel maintenance working on Sundays. So I was lied to when I called the front desk on Sunday. She was very apologetic and discounted my room. 5 stars for her. Also 5 stars for the breakfast selection, coffee and the kitchen staff! Overall it seems that the hotel has declined since last year in regards of up keeping and maintenance and I will not book it again.
This place is clean, quiet, and convenient to a good restaurant. Excellent bed.Nice to have an elevator. Location is good for our purposes when we travel from Montana to the coast. We will stay here again.
We stayed one night on our way through. Staff are really helpful and pleasant. They needed to spend a little more time on the rooms. There was toothpaste in the sink and toilet paper in the toilet. Furnishings have seen better days. All in all though I can't say it was a bad experience and I wouldn't refuse to stay again. We really enjoyed the breakfast.
Upon arrival the gorgeous views began. The property is lovely and the staff was very welcoming. Erik took great care of us with check in and lots of explanation of what was on the property. Service in the restraunt and bar were excellent. But the view from the restraunt and bar was the best! We sat inside near a wall of windows with a view that couldn't be beat! Our room looked out over the Columbia river. We sat on our deck and watched birds and boats. So relaxing! We will definitely be back!!
This hotel is in a fairly quiet location. Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend, and the hotel was full. The front desk staff was very nice. Breakfast was great, the beds were super comfortable. AC / heat unit had a fan with a continuous option, very helpful drowning out the noise of guests with stomping and screaming children. They allowed dogs with no extra fee, and there was plenty of room to walk the dog away from the hotel. My only complaint is that the cleaning staff did not come around until about 4:30, at which time we no longer wanted maids messing around in the room.
Most of the hotels in this area are very close to I-90 so I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet this property is! Very comfortable room; nice size. Great staff. Very happy! Will stay here again as the need arises.
Love the location . Everything you need nere by. Funny part is theres a 5 star restaurant in the strip mall right next to hotel lol. The staff is frendly and for reward mebers during the week they give a glass of free wine
Great hotel, fantastic breakfast and great location. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and the hotel was close to many restaurants and shopping in the area. If you are in the area I highly recommend this place.
Good location, friendly staff, good chocolate chip cookies & a great breakfast. Only problem was closet door could not be opened & repair could not be made till the next day. Pool & hot tub were very clean
I travel for a living and this is one of the nicest hotels that I've stayed at. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. I've stayed at this location twice and both times have been great. Its close to food and in a quiot location close to hwy.
We really enjoyed the staff team at this property. We were exhausted upon arrival, and the young lady on the desk was such a welcome site - bright, warm, friendly with a glowing laugh... she is a treasure. To be honest, many deficiencies in a property can be overcome by welcoming staff. While we didn't partake, the site hosts a 'happy hour' for guests on weekdays - nice touch! The breakfast room was spacious; they also have a pool table for guest use. The pool appeared clean and clear - we didn't use it, but it looked very inviting. The room had a little older case goods, but was comfortable overall. The bed was great - we both commented on it the following morning. Room was quiet, and we slept well. Separate vanity/WC helps in getting ready in the mornings. We have stayed here before, and will stay again in our travels to the area.
The staff had our room early and the room was clean and very comfortable. They have breakfast and after hours bar and pool table. Our room was clean early as,we're visiting kids that's important. Great restaurants and stores close by.
We had the best stay ever here. The staff is courteous and friendly. Took very good care of us. We enjoyed the pool with our family. The breakfast was great with lots to choose from. The location was great and it was quiet. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent staff.
Good stay in good location just off I-90, with plenty of grocery/restaurants nearby. Rooms have individual Heat/AC units on the wall, and had trouble controlling temp. Sofa beds not very comfortable, but acceptable. Decent pool and nice social/gameroom off lobby.
I was hesitant to stay at this hotel because of it's location right off the interstate - but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, the rooms were clean and in decent shape and no road noise. The beds were incredibly comfortable - which I would have never expected at this hotel. The bed platforms stuck out pretty far which was a tripping hazard (several times) and made it hard to maneuver around the room with more than one person. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was the strong air freshners in the lobby/main floor. It was flowery and very strong - but thankfully didn't seep up to the 2nd floor where we stayed. I may have had to ask to change rooms if we were on the 1st floor. For the price - I'd stay at this hotel again.
Property is located about 15 miles east of Spokane Valley just off the expressway. It was less expensive than staying in the valley, and worth the travel. Room was large and clean although the mattress and pillows were a bit too firm for our liking. Since there were six pillows on our king sized bed, maybe they could be hard, medium, and soft?
Bot a bad stay , and the breakfast guy / desk clerk was friendly and had it ready about a half hour early! A few kind of iffy things though .. A plastic plaque sitting on the shelf with the prices that they charge if items are stolen or broken ,, The other was a label prominently displayed on the toilet "Hold handle down to complete flushing" - Makes me wonder exactly how long the toilet wasn't working properly! By the time they printed the label , I could have fixed the toilet!! It isn't exactly rocket science! Included pics of both..
This is a nice, clean hotel in a quiet area. I will be staying there again soon for business. However, they have put these HUGE bedframes in rooms that can not accommodate them. We were constantly hitting our legs on the corners or tripping over them. They take up too much of the already small space...this was a very poorly thought-out purchase.
I travel often to the area...this is my preferred place to stay. Clean rooms, great beds, personable staff and a great breakfast. I was given a room across from the pool area and there were lots of kids yelling and having a great time... but I wondered if I would hear them from my room. When I opened my door, I noticed that there was sweep on the bottom of the door that sealed out any outside sound. Great attention to detail!
Comfortable, clean, convenient and affordably priced. We had a block of rooms reserved for a volleyball tournament at the HUB. The hotel is just a short drive from the tournament facility. It is a very accommodating hotel for families and team events. We were very pleased with the amenities and atmosphere. We will be back.
Illness in our LIberty Lake Family, made us consider an alternative. This was a perfect place for us. Clean, comfortable beds, with a nice breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Our choice for an overnight break on long drive to Montana. Easy stop right off I90. Love that our dog can stay w us and free breakfast. Nice comfortable beds. Quiet. Please fix hot tub for our next stay!
We often stay at Liberty Lake BW when we are on a bike trip. Always happy with everything. Good hot breakfast, comfy bed, gas station and Restaurants right next door which is nice so we can get out of our gear and walk to supper. We will be back.
Great staff and a great Happy Hour Host! He enjoyed serving guests and made you feel as though you were family and was "at home". Hotel was very convenient to shopping and eating. Staff were very friendly!
I was in town for business. My experience with this hotel was very nice. the happy hour was a nice bonus to my stay. the staff was very nice. The person I was traveling with we had the option of moving 25 miles closer to where we were working, but with the experience and the added benefits such as happy hour was a good reason to stay!
Stayed 9 days at this hotel. Hotel is good, bed above average, breakfast: above average, staff: professional and friendly. I would recommend it if staying in Fairbanks. Pool was out of service. Hotel décor is old and somewhat dated but comfortable.
We had a great nights stay at this best western. Location is nice and close to the interstate with easy off and on. Very nice hot tub and pool. Very nice breakfast. Would stay here again next time through.
The room was decent, roomy enough . the exercise room was ok. Breakfast was good,Sunday they make you omelettes. I have stayed more than once and will stay again. Close to Freeway so easy access, and a couple of decent restaurants within walking distance
Very clean, well maintained hotel. Breakfast is good, have real scrambled eggs & selection of breakfast meats. The desk chair had a loose arm, called front desk - within five minutes it was replaced. Great response to a minor issue!
The staff at this property is extremely courteous and attentive. I'm not sure if it is a regular occurrence, but the night we stayed at this hotel, there was a Happy Hour. Best Western Rewards members received two free drinks. There was wine and beer. The gentleman working the bar was extremely courteous. The breakfast in the morning was well-organized and kept clean. I would definitely return to this location in the future.
We chose this Hotel because the Holiday Inn Express was full for our date of travel but all and all it was a quiet and comfy room. The king bed was just right and room was clean. We had our dog with us and I expected to pay a deposit but learned on check-in that Best Western no longer charges for pets. The pool had just been cleaned and refilled so the water was still chilly, hot tub was not very hot but 5 year old granddaughter preferred swimming in it rather than the chilly pool. I would consider staying here again.
We had a very nice stay at this Hotel. Breakfast was great with fresh omelets available as well as a wide variety of other breakfast foods.. Something for everyone. The bed and pillows were super comfy cozy! Very Clean!
Great hotel. Good location and easy to find. Very clean rooms and hotel overall. Friendly staff. Breakfast was hot and very good. Coffee was of good quality. The kids enjoyed the pool and spa. The beds were very comfortable.
We were in the area for a basketball tournament and we had several friends and family staying here. It was a great place for all of us to gather, the kids to swim, relax, and enjoy the fitness center. It was also nice having the restaurant next door.
Very nice experience. Our room was quiet. It had a comfy bed, and nice shower. the breakfast was very nice. Eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy also, fruit, yogurt and waffles. Check in went very smoothly. We really loved the hot cookies :)
Rooms were great and so was all the staff. I will defiantly stay at this hotel again if I am ever in the area. All the staff went above and beyond. Thanks for making my stay great. The pull out bed was really springy. But other than that it was awesome.
My second stay at this property, was even better than my first. Great staff, clean property, excellent room. Quick access to I-90 without the traffic noise. I found the breakfast to be top notch. A hockey team (literally) ate in the room and they had enough food and space for all the guests.
Outstanding and remodeled hotel. Nice services...There was a complimentary Happy Hour (beverages & appetizers). Also, a very nice breakfast. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet! You WILL enjoy your stay here!
We had an enjoyable stay. Hotel was super busy and that created noise in the hallways and stairwells, but to be expected to some point. We were very surprised to find the front desk staff had baked some cookies for hotel guests as they arrived back from their days excursions. Yummy!
Staff friendly Hotel needs a update we have stayed here many times, we now see the wear clients should be told if pets are on the same floor, as spouse is extremely allergic. Noise of a barking dog Breakfast and happy hour are good A note to all Best Western Hotels...please provide some smaller pillows for neck and spine problems, we always have to bring our own. Some pillows are far too big
Warm cookies on check in and a great hospitality happy hour! Nice recreation lounge with pool table and several big screen tv's for watching several different sporting events. The beds were firm with a pillow top for softness. AC unit very quiet. Staff all very friendly and accommodating.
I always stay at this BW when in Spokane or passing through. I like the location a way out of town but with handy Interstate access and it's a quiet location. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and good size. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. With eggs cooked to order. The price was very reasonable.
Stayed during a business trip. The room was clean but the walls and paint were very scuffed up and marked up. It was comfortable enough for a short stay. Three was a nice restaurant across the street. Easy access to the freeway. And the check in was very friendly.
We need a plsce with s hot tum drove 20 miles back just to get one but it wasn't working. Room had viable dirt on surfaces & floor tub had dirt ring & white powder on sides & floor dirty enough we didn't use shower
Conveniently located near the freeway and Washington-Idaho state line. Staff are friendly and facilities are clean. Breakfast are ok; biscuits and gravy were good, usual hotel scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon; Danish and pastries weren't fresh. Pool and Spa heater broke and weren't heated which was never fixed the entire time we were there. Overall, it was a good experience.
We stayed here on a weekend shopping trip to Spokane. Since we drove over on Friday night, the location was excellent as we didn't have to navigate the Spokane traffic until Saturday morning. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. While our "special requests" were not guaranteed, all our requests were fulfilled to our satisfaction. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent although the room was crowded and we had to wait for a table to clear out. For price and convenient location, I give this hotel a Very Good.
We chose this hotel because it was a little further out so we expected it to be quieter. And it was. Would stay here again. King room was great. Even though the hotel was full, it was pretty quiet. Exercise room was nice - treadmill worked great. There was a full hot breakfast with pork patty, scrambled eggs , gravy and custom omelettes on demand. I would be happier if BW committed to having more healthy options like organic granola, plain yogurt, cut up tropical fruits, organic whole grain bread, etc. Difficult for vegans like myself to eat well - no potatoes for example. Who eats gravy for breakfast? Overweight people of course, which the breakfast room was sadly full of. I think people would eat healthier if there were healthy options on offer. Even the oatmeal was instant and sugar loaded. I would love to see BW make a commitment to serve healthy foods. You would have my total loyalty.
The hotel staff are amazing!!! They are so polite and caring!!!!! This alone would make us go back. The breakfast is so good too! We had the family suit. It is big!! Never expected a room that large. It has a separate room with an actual door. There is space to walk around in the room-not cramped for 4 people and 2 of those are teenagers. There were some issues in the room, but the hotel staff took care of it right away and will continue to make improvements. Sofa bed is being upgraded soon and a rollaway worked good as a substitute for it. The main beds were really really comfortable! I would go back and recommend this hotel to anyone!! It was clean and I can't emphasize enough how great the hotel staff were!
Well I needed a place and booked this place months in advance, I was going for a job interview because my wife and I were moving to spokane and needed a place to do our research and get a great night's sleep. The bed was very uncomfortable like the springs were shot, the bathroom tile was dirty, the internet was horribly slow, and the breakfast including coffee was garbage like they don't know how to make anything have flavor. John at happy hour was the best thing that place has going for it and I would probably only return to come see him as he made our stay the only thing that was great. The pool table needs to get repaired as the felt is horrible and the pool cues are all trash.Hot tub was missing dial to get the jets going
Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The fresh cookies at check in were a nice touch too. The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The breakfast offerings included eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh made-to-order omelettes, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and beverages. I am in the area on a regular basis and will make this my first choice whenever possible.
Each year for last three years have stayed at this motel: rates are very reasonable and motel is clean and quiet. Room attendants fell below expectations this trip, missing one day entirely and neglecting to check on soap, cups, wash cloths, etc. on other days. However front desk was more than willing to supply. BW member nights have improved on snacks and wine / beer offerings. Excellent host for the "happy hour". Mattress in need of replacing.
The liberty lake Best Western is all about the guest. They provide exceptional service and amenities. There is a wonderful breakfast area which serves happy hour and pool and a setting similar to recreation room with wide screen tv. Guests are invited to use the pool 24 hours a day. The staff is always cheerful and helpful. I would recommend this motel without hesitation.
The staff is always wonderful. They handle any issue from maintenance to billing in a quick and polite way and attitude. It's not home but they treat you well and make your stay away from home as stress free as possible.
This Best Western was clean and the Breakfast is very good. We were tired after a very long day. It was good to see a smiling face at check in. The food was sufficient. The people taking care of the Breakfast were very cordial.
This Best Western is very consistent in superior quality when compared to other Best Westerns. The bed is comfortable, the staff friendly and courteous, and their breakfast is hot and delicious. Although we missed the omelettes which are prepared Saturdays and Sundays, the scrambled eggs with ham was delicious and superior to other BWs. We look forward to an opportunity to once again stay at this BW.
We arrived 2 hrs. early and were able to check -in. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and quite large. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast....waffles, build your own omelet and the other usual breakfast items. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again.
Was a great stay from the moment we walked in the door. Was greeted with warm cookies when we walked in the door. The pool was relaxing and clean. The breakfast was very good and the omelet bar was unexpected.
Beautiful BW all around! Best breakfast and omlette ever! Thanks Lori and thanks Maureen. Very clean, very quiet and very convenient. Nice decor and guest king room well set up. Eeven had happy hour Monday through Thursday with a couple of complimentary beverages. Thanks BE!
This hotel has the corner on customer service. Honestly they do hospitality very very well. So they don't park your car, and you don't have a bell boy to tip, but from the moment you walk in you know you are welcome. Friendly helpful caring staff greet you. And most amazing of all they have a free happy hour {4 - 7pm} where they serve you wine, beer and food! Yes it is absolutely free. There is a 2 drink limit, but this is unheard of anywhere else. Rooms are clean, comfy and spacious. This will be our Spokane Hotel. We traveled for 1 month, this was the best hotel. Not because it was fancy, but because it was friendly and caring.
We stayed at Best Western Plus Liberty Lake as it is a short drive to Coeur D'Alene, ID. It is not worth the price. It is close proximity to the resorts, so you are paying for location. I chose this for their 24 hr large indoor pool/spa. The pool was supposed to be heated. It was not. It was under 70 degrees, not warm. The water was filmy, the pool didn't seem clean. The spa was closed, yet no indication on their website or when I called prior to making the reservation. Also was not told at check in. Check in was another story. Upon check in was told they were booked solid. I told her I had a reservation, which she never asked. She was on the phone and never did end the call or put call on hold while checking me in. Provided wrong directions to parking, elevator and where our room was located. Breakfast was not good. Stale cold cereal, cold overdone rubber egg discs. Mold on the cheddar cheese slices. Bread for toast was also stale. An off brand yogurt, when I read label it didn't have real fruit. Strawberry was chemical induced. Seattle's Best coffee was really good. The rooms were crammed with too much big furniture. The sink/vanity was against the wall and across from the toilet/shower room. Had a room w/2 queen beds. The bedframes were very large. This left about 3 inches of a walkway between the end of the bed , floor and where vanity was placed. There was only room on one side of each to enter/exit. One of the beds was up against a pony wall. Just not a comfortable layout. The beds were saggy. Water pressure in the shower was good. The shower was small and narrow. Like the rest of the place.
Beautiful hotel, kind staff, and very nice room. Room amenities were excellent. Breakfast Bar was very well supplied and foot was very good. Helpful staff to alert us to local attractions and gave excellent directions.
By far the Best Best Western I have ever stayed at! All the employees were wonderful!! Props to breakfast stay, housekeeping and front desk, they were all great. Very friendly. Hotel Is nice and clean and updated. The 24 hour pool and hot tub was a plus. I cannot wait to stay again!
The first time we stayed it was less money and better quality. This last time was not. It was very expensive, their was very little hot water for the shower in the morning, and when checking out we could not find anyone. The internet was very poor. The bed was good and it was quiet at night. I don't think I would recommend this hotel to anyone unless prices go down and service improves.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and an excellent omelette station prepared to order. Given good advice and maps for local attractions. Choice of restaurants nearby.
This was our first time staying here and it met all our standards, the room were very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly...They had a very appetizing breakfast that catered to everyone's preference. Would definitely stay here again!
We stayed in the BW for the second time while visiting family in the area. It is perfect for our 4 family members and our small dog. The breakfast is always good and it is very convientent. Thanks for a great stay.
The motel facilities and staff met our expectations in every respect. The location was ideal for the wedding we attended in Spokane and for playing golf at Trailhead GC with friends from Post Falls, Idaho.
We've had more misses than hits at this hotel. Won't be going back. Cleanliness definitely needs some work. Carpet was filthy and stained, tile was sticky, and bathroom smelled like urine. Beds were comfortable enough, but finding black hair in one of them made me question if the bedding was even changed. Happy we were only staying one night on our drive home. Got in late, and left early the next day. Breakfast was less than mediocre. 2 sinks outside bathroom in middle of room, and very inconvenient shower set up. Just a toilet and bathtub with no hooks or shelves to place toiletries on while showering. Not a good set up for families.
My family and I got stuck on the end of the building near one of the doors. No insulation or seals on the door and it moved about 1/2 inch when jarred or when someone open the exterior door. All night it sounded as if someone was knocking on our door. The hotel staff did nothing about this. Also encountered two very large brown spiders in the bathroom. No water pressure. Also all the rooms have metal rings around the beds so watch the kids.
Comfortable beds, clean pool. Good breakfast with great selection. The maid was very nice and helpful getting us linen for the pullout couch. Made sure we had everything we needed. The location was easy to get in and out of as we went to Silverwood. The hotel also had discount coupons for Silverwood.
Just stopped for one night but was really impressed with the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, good communal area for the kids with pool table and computer games. Swimming pool was an added bonus. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good with loads of options and attentive staff. Good options nearby for dinner.Would recommend staying here.
Very comfortable, staff pleasant and helpful. I'm on oxygen 24/7 and was placed close to outside door for easy access. Appreciate that very much. Kids enjoyed the pool and the fresh-baked cookies. I would recommend this BW Plus to friends and family travelling through the area.
I had good stays here prior, but room was not clean, smelled bad, and price had jumped, asked to be moved nothing available, can't cancel as you will be charged, got no help. Sorry won't be back and don't recommend.
I've been to the Best Western Plus Liberty Lake Inn many times and am always very pleased with the stay. The rooms are great, comfortable, and clean. The staff are accommodating and friendly. And the hotel is convenient to Spokane while much more quiet than others in the city.
The young lady that checked us in was very friendly and informative. The 2 free drinks each (beer or wine) that were offered to Rewards members was a pleasant surprise. Being able to take them to our room and unwind was even better. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. Even just off the highway, it was extremely quiet. Excellent proximity to all amenities in Spokane area.
Hotel is clean, comfortable beds and located beside a couple of good restaurants and a terrific Conoco Gas Station that has every snack and drink you could want, which is great for us to be able to park the Motorcycles after a long day of riding and be able to walk to supper. Breakfast selection was very good, with eggs, potatoes, sausage, as well as the usual fare. we will be back!
The entire staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Buffet items were hot and tasty. Made to order omelettes were a nice addition. This is not a five star hotel but they make the most of their facility and it is certainly a place to put on your list of quality motels.
Always a pleasure to stay at this location. Second year in a row with no issues with services. Breakfast is always a great bonus, love when they have the omelette bar open. Also the pool is great the kids love it!
Wow. This place is full of amazing people. We stayed twice on our way to and returning from glacier park. We had an emergency event @2am and Austin was wonderful. He helped in several ways. Directions to the hospital extra washcloth and tissues etc. so wonderful and thoughtful. Anne and Jill helped with restaurants and reservations as well as travel advise. The hotel is located in a quiet area with a great refreshing pool. Thanks for an amazing stay
Very friendly staff, clean room, excellent service. The breakfast was really good and the staff kept everything stalked up. The pillows in the beds are pretty small, but other than that the beds were comfortable, quiet, and there was plenty of parking.
Great location, 24 hour pool! Staff is courteous, professional, and love staying at this hotel. Sunday,, they even had a staff person making personal omelettes at breakfast upon your request. Site is on the outer, west side of the metropolis, Spokane!
Everything was very nice until the dirty floors experience in the main living space. Perhaps they should put a mop down in all areas that are not carpeted. It was the filthy floors experience that ruined the better review experience.
Don't stay here unless they change!! I had 4 rooms with six adults in our group. No one was happy with their room. Dirt and food crumbs every where. Doors, ac, tv, luggage cart, broken. Breakfast cold. So disappointed, I always stay at BW when possible and this was the worst ever!
Rooms were very nice. We had a few odd issues in the room and they were promptly taken care of by the staff. Their breakfast had a large selection of items all that were fresh and well stocked. Fresh made to order omelets on the weekend were a nice bonus. The staff was very friendly and caring. Location was easy to find and very convenient.
Waited at front desk for 5 minutes before someone arrived to check us in. Bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioner didn't work properly. Drapes were off the hooks causing problems with closure. We were very disappointed.
Nice facility, un-repaired maintenance issues, no clean sheets. Reported problems, no action by management. Good parking, quiet rooms, veeerrryy slow elevator (only one). Additional characters to complete this review xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx.
Best Western at Liberty Lake, WA was good value with good stay. Hotel in good location for Spokane / Coeur d'Alene area. Complimentary breakfast was good too. Will go back to this hotel if i am traveling in the area again.
This hotel was clean, quiet, and a short walk away to a meal. Everyone was helpful and very courteous. First time we'd ever experienced made-to-order omelets at the breakfast bar and had patio seating. It was a real treat for us. Thanks everyone at BW Liberty Lake.
My wife and I spent one night at this Best Western hotel on the way to Glacier National Park. We found the front desk personnel to be very attentive and helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. Although we didn't use it, the hotel had a very nice indoor pool. Food options are nearby but are limited. We went about 1 mile away from the hotel and found a very good place to eat. The free breakfast was OK, but not to normal Best Western standards. The servers were great, freindly and helpful. I just found the quality of the bacon and sausage patties to be average. We would go back to this location in a heart beat. It is in a beautiful area, appears to be a fairly new hotel, and has great workers.
nice.clean, great breakfast and nice staff , the breakfast even included fresh omelets made to order, even has a small rec room with a pool table, video games for the kids and a small bar with a happy hour
After my stay at a different hotel chain a few days prior to my stay here, I was so happy to be back at a Best Western. My experience at Best Westerns have been very good. I will never exchange price for cleanliness or service again. I love this hotel chain, and get good service consistently.
3rd bed (a foldout, which we needed for 6 people and was the reason we booked the suite we did) had the top 3rd broken and was unusable for an adult. Luckily, we put two kids across the bottom 2/3. They were out of pillows, so we had none for the foldout. Tub was covered in dirt and hair, towel rack was busted off the wall, outlets didnt provide power, TV was broken... staff was friendly, though.
We stayed two nights. It was well worth the Money. I will definitely stay again. The only thing I would have preferred is if the check in staff let you know about services offered for example we checked in thursday and they had happy hour for an hour after we checked in and by the time we looked at the info in the room it was over. Other then that our family really enjoyed the stay. Awesome pool and hot tub.
This was our second time staying at this Best Western. The rooms are a nice size, light and tastefully decorated. In most hotels there is only one easy chair. Here they have two leather easy chairs with arms, so easy to get out of. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Breakfast has a great variety and is very good. One of the better hotels for breakfast. The employees are very friendly and upbeat. Only drawbacks: only two luggage carts for a large hotel; only one elevator for four floors; harley davis parking is the closest parking to the door leaving the handicap parking a distance away; no luggage rack in the room or hook in the bathroom.
Great staff, geat location and clean hotel! I woild recommend this hotel for the pool, hot tub and comfy beds. Breakfast staff was amazing and the food was good as well. My daughter and I had an amazing experience.
I ordered two rooms, one for the g-parents and one for my daughter and her two under 11-aged children. Our sleeping accommodations were perfect. We had one room large room and a "family room with two two beds in two separate rooms. The grandchildren love the sleeping arrangements. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than average. My only complaints were the sink in our room didn't drain properly and there was a shortage of hot water. Our daughter was troubled by either of these issues. I will stay here again.
We have stayed at this hotel every 4th of July for the past several years while visiting relatives at Newman Lake. We've always had a great experience in the past. Unfortunately, this year was an exception. We reserved a King suite again this year to accommodate our two teenage boys. Our King suite last year was at the other end of the hotel and we loved it. The first thing we noticed about room 222 was that it smelled funny. The suite had an odd smell all its own and the bedroom off of the suite smelled like dog urine. We made note of the fact that the hotel allows dogs; something we hadn't noticed during our past visits. Overall, the room had an "unclean" look. White walls in the bathroom and the main living space were filthy. Maintenance in the room was shoddy and gave the impression that the they either didn't care about the quality of the repairs or that the money wasn't available to make proper repairs. I pulled the hide-a-bed out for my oldest son the night of the 3rd and discovered that the frame had been destroyed by prior "guests". I went to the front desk to inquire about the hide-a-bed and his inability to use the bed. I was told, "We were supposed to have told you about that when you checked in. All of the hide-a-beds are damaged beyond use in all of our rooms." I was offered a roll-away which I declined. Fortunately, my mother & father in law were staying at the hotel as well and my son was able to bunk with them in their extra queen. Their room also had a funky smell... We requested a roll-away the next day which was promptly delivered by the staff. Unfortunately, they did not include any sheets or blankets for the roll-away single. My son took one look at the roll-away mattress and opted to bunk with my in-laws again. Pros: Good parking Convenient access to I-90, Starbucks, Albertson's, etc. Decent rates Good breakfast Nice indoor pool Laundry on location Good shower water pressure & temperature Very comfortable beds Cons: Rundown atmosphere Poor quality maintenance Lack of maintenance Unclean Dated Very dirty (222) Odor in room (both suite & bedroom) Slow sink drains We've always enjoyed staying at this Best Western location. Nice staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Unfortunately, this year was a deal breaker for my wife and in-laws. As such, we'll probably look elsewhere next year.
We had such a wonderful room! Super clean it had a separate bedroom which we didn't know we were getting. Pleasant surprise. Free breakfast with a wide variety of choices. You can get discount tickets to Silverwood there. Worth the stay if you are going to Silverwood.
Very clean with personable staff. Good quality and a fair price. They offer a Happy Hour (complimentary) on Monday through Thursday with 2 free drinks and a light supper. Nice touch. Breakfast is the ordinary BW breakfast which is adequate but nothing special. Recommend.
We arrived late and just wanted to go to sleep. The first room they gave us had not even been cleaned. We walked in and the room smelled horrible. There were pizza boxes on the counter dirty sheets on the couch and an unmade bed in the main room. We went down to the desk for a new room which they gave us with the only explanation for the dirty room being it was clean in our system. D9N'THE THEY CHECK! So we get to our new room and go to use the bathroom and the toilet was dirty, there was hair all over the tub and soap scum on the sides of the tub. There was no sheets for the hide a bed despite the fact that we indicated in our reservation it would be needed. So I went to the front desk again to get sheets and they didn'the have enough clean so they gave us some dirty ones. The girl at the front desk was too worried about hanging out with her boyfriend than helping us. We all slept on top of the covers because we were afraid to get under them. Needless to say we won'the be recommending or staying here again. Very very unsatisfied and for a supposedlyhigh rated high priced hotel I expect a whole lot better quality.
Very helpful staff. Was given goodie bag on arrive, nice touch. good linen and towels. Very comfy bed. Very clean pool. It was nice having Perkins restaurant attached with 15 percent discount, very reasonable prices
Very accommodating for my business needs when traveling to the Spokane area. lots of evening activities and meal choices close to hotel. Recreation choices as well included several golf courses, hiking and biking trails.
Stayed here after a day at Triple Play. Nice big room, conveniently located off highway and near easy dining options for a family. Hotel was well kept, pool and hottie were perfect and breakfast was amazing!
This is fairly conveniently located near the freeway but not too much freeway noise. Our room was noisy from the air conditioner and rain on the air conditioner that carried into the room. Front desk staff were new to their jobs. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was a nice, clean confortable room with ample space. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was just what we needed to send us on our way the next morning. Waffles, eggs, sausage and a bagle. Enjoyed the stay very much.
Sink too tall, toilet too short or no bars to assist. The desk staff were super and did their jobs skillfully and cheerfully. The whole hotel generally looked clean and comfortable. The area was pleasant and the hotel was easy to locate and reach from the freeway and was close to the training center I was going to attend classes in.
Always enjoy our stay with you. Sorry we were too late for happy hour! Traveling with a dog, you are near to great walking trails and parks. Our meal at the Bistro that was recommended more than met our expectations
Couldn't have been more perfect. Helped with everything we requested no questions asked with smiles on their faces. The staff was a true definition of customer service and positive attitude. I will recommend this location to everyone I know heading to North west
Overall the Best Western in Liberty Lake was "OK." We had to change rooms after our first night due to a plumbing issue, but they accommodated us quickly. There was a leaking pipe in the 2nd floor hallway with a trash can placed under it to catch the leaking water; this remained there for the duration of our 4 night stay. We had to remind the staff to clean our room a couple times. A bright spot was the staff in the breakfast area; they were very friendly and helpful.
Quality for the value was excellent. Room was clean & there was a microwave & fridge. Location was perfect with easy access off the freeway. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel. Our only complaint was the quality of the coffee. It tasted like dirty dish water.
The front desk and breakfast ladies were very helpful and friendly and always asked if everything was okay. Rooms are updated and comfortable. The breakfast was great, they even offer made to order omelets on weekends.
As a long time Diamond member with BW . I was surprised to walk in and get hit with a very strong chemical smell . This smell was throughout the property I also noticed that the lobby furniture looked like it was from 1980 The most concerning to me was the horrid conditions of the pool and hot tub . The hot tub was barley warm with a really strong chemical smell This makes me think the water had not been changed in a long time , and someone was adding chemicals to cover that up The chemicals were also off in the pool The property had broken ice machine and a broken door leading to the back parking lot ? Is this place for real ? This place needed a deep cleaning , from tile on the walls coming up to dirty corners throughout the whole property How does a property in this level of disrepair make a plus rating ? This property is a classic example of a property that's " running on the cheap" They want to put a the least amount of money to fix or upgrade the property I have seen this before . This property will not be a BW in a few years Gross I will never return
This is a great spot to stop just off the freeway on the border of Washington and Idaho. I loved the comfortable bed and the nice choices for breakfast. The internet speed was more than adequate that you normally find at chain hotels. Parking was ample.
Love staying here when I am traveling in Spokane/Northern Idaho area - a better value than downtown hotels. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is always attentive. Good eats are within easy walking distance.
I thought I found a deal as we are a family of 6 & it is just impossible to find 1 hotel room for 1 night that will comfortably fit as us all. We are state employees and the rate was honored which is fantastic. We booked the king, queen (bed room) with a pull out sofa. Surely this would work for us? The room is good, king & queen beds are just plain comfy, but the pull out sofa was so misshaped, my 7 YO boy had to sleep on the ground. To be fair, we are so tired from our trip, he fell right asleep, so I did not even complain- I cannot fault Best Western as I did not allow them the opportunity to remedy the situation. Front staff was friendly & helpful. We did not have time to play in the pool or hot tub. After supervising facilities management for a number of years, my overall impression is that this property could use some good old TLC compared to other BW+ we have stayed, but the room was clean, we were treated well & overall it was a positive experience.
Good location, the staff felt you welcome when checking in, clean rooms, internet working well. Breakfast was good and well served. Recognised me as Diamond member when checking in. Quiet location and easy to find.
recommended.. nice place near to all shopping , food and theme park. i can say i will choose this hotel if we have another trip going to silverwood theme park. front desk and the breakfast staff are very polite and easy to talk. i can say we love this hotel..
Easy access, near good restaurants, pool, great hot breakfast, comfy beds, new large flat-screen TVs in both of the family-suite bedrooms and a nice sitting area. The front desk was friendly and helpful. An excellent value for money.
This was a great spot to spend 2 nights while touring Grand Coulee Dam. The bed was comfortable but we found the main floor noisy but it gave us a chance to do a load of laundry before heading to Canada. They give complimentary soap and dryer sheets so laundry wasn't as expensive as most BW's will charge for these items. Breakfast was great and lots of it........good job kitchen staff.
Very nice room at a reasonable price. Internet connection was very good. Close to Coeur d'Alene and even closer to Spokane. Food within walking distance if you like designer pizza and pricey drinks. Plenty of food choices within short, easy drives.
Freindly staff at check in, and at check out. Clean, comfortable rooms, easy acces from the freeway. Fantastic breakfast, great varity, and presentation. This hotel wqs a great value for the price you will pay. I feel Best Western have set the bar for a hotel stay in this price range. Thanks to Best Western for keeping a high standard in this price range.
Well located with amenities all around. The staff were friendly and were more than willing to help in any way they could. The rooms were spacious, modern and well equiped. The breakfast was very nice as well.
Best Western is my "go-to" motel. Always a comfortable bed and friendly service, as well as a hearty breakfast. This stay included all of the above, but the details were lacking. A very nice property, it appeared the remodels were "on the cheap." The "industrial" sink/vanity was matched by a '70s era headboard. The window valance was a fabric that did not match with the drapes. I reserved a room for four; we had three towels. The pull-out bed had no sheets or blankets and was--according to my daughters--very uncomfortable. A wonderful public area on the main level included a pool table. It wasn't level, three of the four cues had no tips and there was no chalk to be found. A wonderful amenity which was essentially wasted. A standard breakfast for Best Western, the attendants were enthusiastic and friendly--very proud of their motel and their breakfast. Finally, as a "Diamond" member, I usually receive a "goody bag" or additional points. There was no mention of either. This is not a bad stay, but it could be much better with minimal effort. For nearly $200 a night, it should be.
Close to shopping centre and restaurants, has all the amenities. Staff exception, to making the stay comfortable. Room was well appointed, andvery comfortable king bed. Coffee and tea available in room. There is a full breakfast each day as well as a Happy Hour each day at five.
great customer service, close to restaurants and bars and service station for gas or any other needs. hotel needs some updating but overall great stay. breakfast buffet was average, but overall good. close to the freeway and easy to access.
Softball season! We have stayed at this property several times over last 3 years. We love the location outside of traffic areas. Great food within walking distance. Great service everytime! We will be back.
The stay here was great, one of the better places I've stayed, One thing I would like to see though is more catering to the vegetarian diet, I like biscuits and gravy and they always put sausage in their gravy
All I can say about this hotel is that it seems to be aging. Everything is still there, but the small touches seem to be waning. The Managers reception was looked forward to by us, but now it amounts to a couple of glasses of discount wine/beer and taco chips, nobody stays to chat or socialize.
With a 2 bedroom minimum and a high cost for a room, I rate it poorly The property has had a cheap renovation done to it. Fitness room needs repair and maintenance. Food is standard. Staff are friendly and helpful Could pay less at a nicer hotel, had it been available. We had no choice but it has given us a good reason to book hotels in advance so we can be at better properties for a better price.
The beds were comfortable, but the rest room had sheet rock patch and no paint. The desk chair was in poor condition. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The breakfast had a good selection and the staff was helpful in keeping everything refilled.
Pleasant stay. The front desk ran out of change for the washer. Decor was real nice. Wish there were more options for breakfast. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were horrible. Staff was friendly and rooms were quiet!
Very nicely remodeled and polite staff. This location has a happy hour! Beds where a little firm and pillows to small. Otherwise it was a great place to stay! Would stay at this location again in the near future
the full breakfast is just great, a supper way to start your day without having to go somewhere else to eat before you can get going. the pool is nice and open late and during the week the offer early evining lite snackes to guestes aas well
I was pleasantly surprised how nice this motel was for the price! We had a great stay and the surrounding restaurants were perfect for a family! Our kids got to swim--nice pool. Breakfast was a plus and I will definitely stay here again!
I have stayed at the Liberty Lake Peppertree Best Western about five times. Easy access, nice rooms, nice breakfast, no complaints. This location is ideal for me and I always enjoy my stay. I would advise my friends to stay at this hotel.
I have to say this is by far one of the best Best Westerns I've ever stayed in. The room spacious clean and well taken care of well worth the money. The staff was great, breakfast in the morning was awesome. Overall amenities great. I don't know what else to say I've stayed at Hyatt,Marriott but this last day at a Best Western Plus has confirmed my loyalty to Best Western. I will be stay there again. I've already told friends and family about this place and if you're reading this and you're going to Spokane please consider staying at the Best Western Plus Peppertree.
Stopped here on the to missoula montana. I requested a quite room on the top floor. The staff was cheerful and honored my request. The room was clean, TV had good channel select like, bathroom clean with great shower. Bed was okay. Great visit. We will stop here again.
This is a very quiet safe property with good amenities. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Size of rooms is very good. The breakfast was good. Close location to Spokane or Idaho. Lots of things to do
We have been staying at this hotel when going to the Spokane area for 10 years. It was a top-notch hotel under Peppertree ownership. The new owners are cutting corners and it shows in the condition of the rooms. The electric plugs on either side of the sink did not work. Had to plug my hair dryer in across the room, and did not have benefit of a mirror. The TV remote worked poorly; I wore out my thumbnail pushing the channel, volume and mute buttons multiple times before a channel would change. We turned off the TV and decided to read. However, the lights in the room are so dimly lit with low wattage bulbs, it is impossible to read in bed. The double queen rooms have limited space, and there is no place to hang a toiletries bag or wet towels. There was coffee spilled on the bed frame; I cleaned it off. The magnets on the shower curtain were creepy with slime. They need to hire a cleaning person with a bucket of hot soapy water and a brush to get down on their hands and knees and clean the baseboards in the bathroom. The signage to find this hotel is very tricky, especially when exiting westbound I-90. Go 180 degrees on a roundabout. The view of the hotel is blocked by a convenience store. There's no sign on the main street pointing to the side indicating the hotel. And then, when you turn, you may see a very small, red sign on your left half-concealed by a shrub. We like Best Western hotels, but we cannot recommend this hotel any longer if you think you are getting a Best Western PLUS experience.
Stayed here on a stopover driving cross country with 6 in our party. Was more than adequate space. Fold out sofa bed looked uncomfortable, but I didn't sleep there. Pool for the kids, free breakfast and great restaurants close by. Not much else though - seems like a stopover place.
The restaurant was excellent. There was work underway on the trim which left screws in the parking lot. The door on the east side needed repair - handle missing. Despite all that it was an excellent facility
This was my 2nd time staying at the Peppertree Liberty Lake Inn. Check in was fast and the front desk staff was nice. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room was a bottle cap left on the carpet. Not good. The wall near the trash can wasn't cleaned and had a bunch of junk stuck to it. The sheets were clean. The water pressure on the shower was great. The breakfast was yummy, loved the pancakes. The breakfast staff were friendly and kept the food stocked and the area cleaned. I would stay here again.
Very nice hotel to stay at with a truly great restaurant, Hay Jay's, across the parking lot. We always stay here on our return trips from Seattle. The rooms are very nice and have very comfortable beds and pillows. Overall a great place to stay at a good price point. Hay Jay's is a wonderful bistro style restaurant / martini bar.
Driving from Vancouver to Ontario and back, we stayed at this hotel both going and coming back. Both times, the service was great, room was clean and the beds comfortable. Hotel was full, but very quiet. Unfortunately, up too early and on the road to try the breakfast...maybe next time! Only thing is that they should finally fix the back door, as it was broken for both stays although a month apart.
This is an excellent choice for an overnite stay. As we usually attempt to use BW inns, this one stood out. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and well organized, and the breakfast.....wow! they serve omelets of your choice. One of the best breakfasts we have come across. We will stay there again when the opportunity presents itself.
Hair in tub, remnants of previous guests on floor, popcorn, blood on the side of a chair, lighter in chair, entry floor filthy dirty as discovered after wiping up water dripped after coming back from pool. Hot tub cold. Employees smoke at front door. Employees dressed like the are at home lounging or going to night club. Tv stand too big for room, couldn't open all the way to access fridge. Fitness room very small and crowded. Breakfast omelet maker told us to go get things for her to make the omelet.
Very modern and clean room. Some of the best furnishing we've encountered. Great breakfast facilities with a separate room for relaxing and playing pool if desired. Happy hour with two drink limit. Very nice staff also.
As a tourist this was easy to run both directions to see the area. Staff was welcoming, friendly. Room was ok although bed frame a bit worn from being run into on the corner. Slept great. House keeping staff should use a checklist as 1 day forgot fresh towels and washcloths, next night forgot to restock coffee and cups. Quickly remedied by front desk. 2 out of 3 nights happy hour not set up until 15 mins after posted opening time but adequate once set up and staff pleasant. Breakfast not up to standard of most BW places. Gravy mixture for biscuits always cold. Waffles turn out well. Overall adequate. Clean place to sleep.
When I make hotel reservations I never use the online system I always call the hotel because my boyfriend lost his leg last year so whenever I make our reservations I always make sure the room first of all is wheelchair accessible and that the shower is wheelchair accessible and I specifically ask if he will be able to drive it into the shower. When I asked your front desk her words to me were absolutely!!! We came from Granite Falls which is a 6 hour drive and got in very late. Boy, was I surprised and very disappointed when we went to our room and found the bathtub, not a shower that he could drive his wheelchair into. I called downstairs to let them know they had made a mistake and was told, we are very sorry but the rooms with those type shower are already taken. I called a lot of hotels in the area but of course it was very late and sadly, no hotels had that type room available either. I am not sure if you are missing a leg, but I can tell you, it takes a lot to be able to climb into and out of a bathtub. Then there was some type of seat fastened to the wall but you have a bar at the end of the tub so even if he could use the seat provided, that bar was in his way. The next complaint I have is when we checked in, I asked the young man at the front desk where we could park so he could get his wheelchair into the hotel. He said he didn't think he could that he would probably have to use the front entrance! Well, I decided, if you have wheelchair parking, they must allow wheelchair access so we drove around the side to find that of course there is wheelchair access. As a side note, when I called the front desk to let him know how unhappy we were about the room and that the reservation person assured me about the room, he said, sounds like she may need some training. I said I believe you need training also because your handicap parking does allow wheelchair access! It was difficult for my boyfriend to get around in the room so it shouldn't really be considered wheelchair accessible. Also, it was on the second floor so if there had been a fire and the elevator wasn't working, he would have had a difficult time getting out of the hotel. There should be a law against putting someone confined to a wheelchair on any floor except the first floor! The next thing I will let you know about is there was a holder for tissue under the sink but it was completely empty. There was the soap holder in the shower; however, they were not labeled except for the conditioner so there was no way of knowing which was supposed to be shampoo or shower soap. On the positive side, our room was very clean and nice and the staff were very pleasant. Our beds were so comfortable, I slept like a baby.
Lackluster property in a pretty depressing little corner of The Redoubt. Better to keep driving to Spokane or Coeur D'Alene if you're just passing through. Nothing specifically wrong, just misfiring on most cylinders. Dark, musty, cluttered. Slow elevator. Minimal in-room amenities. Worst part for me was housekeeping banging on the door at 8:30am, waking up my whole family. If you go, try to pizza/pub place across the highway. Nice vibe.
Everyone was very friendly and professional. One of your housekeepers who was cleaning rooms near our entrance, stopped to open the door for me. It's the little things that go a long way and I appreciated it. I work in the hospitality industry and I was impressed. My husband said he liked the variety of items offered at breakfast and was surprised to see an omelet bar....very nice touch. I also can't thank you enough for welcoming our canine daughter, and at no extra charge, to boot! Should we find ourselves in the area in the future, we'll definitely be staying with you again. Keep up the good work!
Overall very nice for an overnight stay, some of the furniture and art were old and the desk chair didn't work too well. But the breakfast was great, omelets cooked to order in the breakfast room and other precooked items
This location is a bit out of the way but it was great for a business trip to the Spokane Valley. The Breakfast was great and I guess they have a happy hour for the Best Western Rewards member. There is a Sports themed restaurant across the street. Plenty of Parking a easy access to the I-90. This was a win for me.
This was the worse Best Western property I've ever stayed at, very disappointed to say the least. When we got there, at first, the decor was very nice. Upon closer look and unpacking, the lotion was half used, label was partially off, clearly they reuse the lotion. The toilet had hair under the seat and was dirty, as well as the tub had hair around the edges. The decor pillows on the bed had huge stains on them, the phone on the desk was broken, the sheets were dingy, almost gray looking in comparison to the pillows, and the worst was there was a blood stain on the comforter. Our room didn't get cleaned and we were there for 3 nights and didn't get clean linen or anything. The hot tub didn't work and there was bubbly scum floating on the top of the water and the back door to the hotel was broken and the handle laying on the ground for days, unfixed. It was a terrible terrible experience.
Very friendly staff, very clean, comfortable rooms. Nice beds with nice linens. In room coffee & tea.Rooms have everything needed. Nice breakfast area, clean & great food. We will definitely stay here again
Just a night stop on the way from Kalispell to Seattle. Breakfast choice was excellent with a member of staff preparing individually designed omelettes. Sadly our room was tired and unwelcoming. The desk chair was falling apart and the interior design just didn't work despite the money that must have been spent on marble/granite tops and leather sofa. The bed cover had a sheen that showed every un-ironed crease in it. The noise transmission from rooms above and through the corridor door was unacceptable.
The staff were very good from check in to check out. The breakfast staff were extremely good. Would recommend this Hotel to friends and Family. The location is out from the downtown core but is easy to get downtown if you need to.
We have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns all over the U.S. and Canada over the years! I had checked a couple of days before arriving and rooms were around $129/night. We did not make reservations because we were not sure if we would stop here. We came in around 4 PM on a Monday and they said they had one room left and the price they quoted us then was over $170/for the night. We asked what happened to the price we saw two days ago on the Best Western app and the girl told us that the closer you get to the night you want and if they book up fast the price goes up. We have never had that happen to us before!!! We then said that we would go down the road to the Best Western at City Center in Spokane around 14 miles away and she brought the price down....before we were done she came down to around $141! She also said the hotel in Spokane City Center was probably cheaper because they are larger and have more rooms. We still felt it was highway robbery but we were tired and decided to stay. Our room was a nice size. One chair had a broken leg, the furniture was mismatched with old and new, the desk chair looked like someone has been chewing on the seat! Two different countertops. The trim around one of the fire sprinklers was missing. We went down at 6 PM for "happy hour" which was 5-7PM and they were out of "white wine" and their snacks were empty!!!!!!!! The room was clean but the shower curtain was dirty! Breakfast was good. Wifi was good.
We were in Spokane area and spent 4 nights at the Best Western Plus Peppertree Liberty Lake Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was good with some variety and the hotel had a happy hour each evening where you received a complimentary drink. During our stay we were golfing and there were numerous courses with easy driving range of the Inn. There is a pub/family restaurant across the street with good food and, as well, many other locations to eat are within easy driving distance. Would recommend this as a place to stay.
First let me say that the breakfast is not the typical Best Western breakfast. There are fixings to make a breakfast sandwich with multiple types of cheese and meats. Room had two sinks, microwave, and fridge. It was also a good location for trips to Silverwood. There is also a pool and hot tube (but the hot tube was closed) and a small business center. However, I struggled about giving it three stars instead because: *when we checked in the room the comforter had a huge tear (which they replaced since we didn't want them to think we did it); *one of the sink stopper was broken. When we told the hotel they told us to fix ourselves which we tried but a part was missing. When we told them hat they never fix it. *the hotel says they offer toiletries if you are missing them including shaving cream but the hotel staff say hey never had shaving cream.
The hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean. They had conditioner & lotion in the rooms which is a nice touch. Some hotels only have shampoo. The hotel had a great restaurant next door that you could walk to. The staff was very friendly.
I hope that the hotel cleans up their entry way, parking lot and all the glass doors. While first entering a hotel is very important to have a good first appearance, and I was disappointed with the lobby I did not feel as if it was clean. The hotel was in a great location for easy access to get on and off highway. The beds were comfortable.
Stayed one night, the first room had not been cleaned yet. So it took more time than I would like to get in the room after a long day on the road. The room was nice. The A/C worked very well, cooled the room off in a hurry. There was plenty of room in the breakfast area. The best part about the stay was the Bistro next door, amazing food.
We have stayed in Best Western Plus facilities a number of times when we travel as they are generally very clean and well managed. I was somewhat disappointed in this one due to the general overall condition of the rooms. We traveled with my parents who are elderly and have issues walking. The room they were assigned was to be an ADA room but it was in poor condition. There was a strip missing between carpeting and tile entry which created a ledge and a huge tripping hazard. Their bathroom was missing several bars or they were not even attached - screws missing. Our room was clean and nicely appointed and we had asked for the top floor at the time we made our reservation and when we were not placed there, they moved is immediately. The woman who was working the morning breakfast was incredible! She was making coffee, waffle batter, replenishing everything and moving fast but always had a smile on her face and was great! Thank you for having this great treat for lodgers in the morning! This specific site caters to families so there were many children staying there. With a nice pool, the kids enjoyed themselves a lot. Dogs are also welcome so you will see dogs around the hotel going into rooms.
We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting family. We asked for a quiet room due to length of stay. First room was next to AC units & vents for hotel; second room was at end of hotel right next to a bar & busy road. You get the idea of what they think is a quiet room. On the third morning, we put all towels on the floor so we could get fresh ones. When we got back that night, the maid had taken the dirty towels off the floor & hung up our dirty, wet towels on the towel racks ...... no clean towels. I know they were the dirty towels because not only were they still wet, but had my mascara marks on one of the towels. I complained & they gave us $30 off the room that night. The next morning, we put the card on the bed to change the sheets. When we got back that night, the bottom sheet had been turned inside out & put back on the bed. I know this as there was a blood spot the size if a dime on the bottom sheet. The blood stain was still there on the bottom sheet. After complaining, the sheets were changed. Room is outdated, worn, needed dusting, has seen better days. You could see where painters had stopped painting the second coat of paint on the wall (about 8" below the ceiling. Breakfast food was typical hotel breakfast food; the breakfast room is way too small for the size of the hotel so customers wind up standing or taking food back to their room. CANNOT recommend this hotel.
My family hosted a reunion at the Liberty Lake Campground and my fiancé and I are not much for camping, so we decided to reserve a hotel room. The front desk staff was very pleasant and attentive giving us all the information we needed. I appreciated the breakfast staff wishing us a good morning! Very pleasant way to wake up as you sip on a cup of coffee. We enjoyed the king size bed which was very comfortable. Cable TV worked well, internet was a little patchy, but appreciated. There were a few issues with housekeeping unfortunately. When we entered the room, there was a Cheezit lying on the floor and we saw the crumbs led down the stairs, so it's possible one of the housekeeping staff was munching on Cheezits while cleaning. I did also find a little speck of mold on the shower curtain and some stains on the down comforter after the decorative top cover. Other than that, we did enjoy our trip, I'm not so picky about cleanliness, but I thought it might be good to note for future reservations.
If you stay at a Best Western Plus you know what to expect and this hotel was no different. The staff was very pleasant to deal with. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub at night and had a good breakfast in the morning.
I would rate the staff snd service as very good to excellent. The value not so much. Though this is as relatively new property it may be the worst motel for room design ˆI have seen in ages. The closet is just to the right of the entry door. You get slammed by the door if using the closet when someone enters the room. The bathroom is just to the left of the entry door. The shower at my personal residence is not much smaller than the bathroom. Because of size use of the bathroom at night is very difficult for us older folks and is made even more difficult by the lower toilet seats. I won't go on with my other gripes regarding room design.
This is a fairly new hotel with a free happy hour, Monday Thursday. That was a nice surprise! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and there was a nice resturants and a pizza place within walking distance. The swimming pool was very heavily chlorinated; not sure if it had been recently cleaned, or that was normal, but both of my children were very nauseated by the amount of chlorine in the water. The pool table in the recreation center was missing cue balls (there were only 3), and it did cost extra to play pool. Overall, it was a very nice place!
If you don't mind smelling cigarettes at a NON-SMOKING hotel, you might like this place. If you don't mind noise coming from a nearby bar, you might like this place. If you don't mind not being able to open the window for some fresh air (because there were no screens), you might like this place. If you don't mind dirty linens being left in the drawer, you might like this place.
Very surprised after our long drive to receive the family room. The decor and amenities were very nice. The updated clean hotel room provided the comfort and sq footage our family needed after a long road trip. The staff was great and would highly recommend this hotel if traveling through the Spokane area.
The check in was so smooth and easy, invited us in. Smiling faces are a delight to see at the end of a long day of driving! Clean and sparkling rooms. Very quiet, that's important to me. There are few choices within walking distance, and pricey for my pocket.
My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times. It's our go to spot when we visit Spokane. Rooms are very clean and spacious. I would suggest asking for the 4th floor when staying in the family suites that consist of a king bed in the main part of the room and a queen in a separate bedroom. It can get loud with younger children running and jumping aka a heard of elephants above you. Overall a great hotel.
Overall good value for your money, I don't recommend staying on the first floor as it is very loud and I was woken up several times during the night and there was only one desk attendant to help and he was pretty busy. Breakfast is good but crowded get there right away!
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the poor, stressed out young ladies at the front desk did a fantastic job considering the mess. (Angela, Mckeenzie, and Jill took a lot of abuse from several families because rooms were not ready. This was at 6 PM) I rented to rooms for my family and we waited 45 minutes before getting a room. Room was not ready the first two nights then the regular house keeping showed up on Wednesday our last night. Sorry but I have nothing good to say about the hotel itself.
Extremely disappointed this year. There is a new owner. I visited the hotel for 4 nights in July 2015 and wrote a great review. Wonderful staff, super clean, great happy hour and very outstanding breakfast. I had these expectations when my family and I checked in July 22, 2016. I was bragging it up. The waitress in the breakfast room told me of the new owners. No special order omlettes, no happy hour on Friday and my comforter was soiled. The ice bucket had water in it. Also the hall and stair rugs were soiled. As a rewards member I considered $193.00 very high for the quality and service. Breakfast was very predictable and cheap quality.
The rooms so full of furniture and are so poorly designed that I felt like I was staying in a 12' camper trailer. The décor was not conducive to resting. The paintings just made me feel queasy. With a picture over the toilet, there was only room for one towel rack in the tiny bathroom and it was situated so close to the toilet I was afraid it was get soiled just hanging there. You had to move the towel to get to the TP. You almost have to jump in the tub to shut the door and the door is in the way of the toilet unless the door is closed. The shower curtain in our room was falling down so that it stayed in the middle and let water out the sides.
Rooms were nice. I liked that they had a common room with a pool table etc. if you didn't want to stay in your room. Would be great if you were staying with friends to have a place to visit. The pool was nice though we did have a hard time getting towels. Breakfast was really good. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
We've stayed at his BW many times over the past several years. We were always pleased. They used to host a happy hour in the evenings, and had an omelet bar in the morning for breakfast. Those have both been discontinued. We also noticed the grounds are not well kept. There were weeds everywhere, and trash in all the flower beds. We will not be staying here again.
We are BW customers, frequently stay in BW around the Northwest. We checked in and noticed the front desk clerk was new, although polite. I presented a $25.00 rewards certificate to be used on our bill. The first night was pleasant, room was comfortable and nice. The 2nd and 3rd nights were disappointing, as the family staying above us were noisy both nights, one until about 2:30 AM and the next until after midnight. I reported it to the staff and they indicated they would take care of it. Upon checkout, no discount for our stay. In fact, when I looked at our bill, found the 25.00 coupon was never taken off our bill. I had to reprint it again for the front desk clerk to remove it. When I complained to corporate, they apologized without follow-up. Disappointed is a understatement. Holiday Inn will likely get my business back...
what a wonderfull stay from the cleaning men and women to the front desk and everyone in between. The biscuit and gravy breakfast waffles, bacon, sausage, orange juice cold fresh milk etc.this place is great. The staff is warm and welcoming, therooms were very clean and i mean very clean and comftorable one of the employees was exceptional dionna she made my girlfriend and myself feel so comftorable,it was truly a great vacation thanks to you good people i could go on forever thanks again
Lobby had broken floor tiles that created a tripping hazard. There was garbage stacked up at the back entry, being a Wed evening I wonder how long it had been there. Was still there when we left on Sat. Elevator landings were dirty and were not mopped the three days we were there. The breakfast items were all cold except the coffee.
Our family used to travel to national parks around US. We chose to stay at BW in Liberty Lake for 1 night. There are excellent place for rest. The hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is very close to local attractions. We strongly recommend this hotel to stay.
Stayed one night . The hotel and the room were wonderful. Very clean. Had breakfast in the morning, which was included. It was better then average comparing it to other Best Westerns in the State. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy. 2 different kinds of juice, cold cereals, sorted breads, bagels/cream cheese and Danish. There was also a waffle maker present. Plus coffee, regardless and decaf and hot water for tea
Beautiful spot. Nice and clean. Great location. Not too populated. Good breakfast. Great service and nice beds. Would highly recommend to anyone staying near Spokane. Fairly reasonable for the nice room and location.
We stayed 3 nights for a family wedding. The faucet in the tub was running for the whole time, although we reported minutes after checking in. Were not told that it wouldn't be fixed because they were waiting for a part to come in. We also found that the sink was very slow. That also wasn't fixed, although the maids tried to clear it. This is not an old hotel, but from my experience, the maintenance is poor.
We stayed at this hotel and I slept like a baby! Which is a big deal since I have a bad back. Great bed, quiet room, excellent breakfast! The room had a comfortable sitting area, large screen TV, a desk and chair, a refrigerator, coffee maker and a microwave. The bathroom was clean. The continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, danish, and fruit. Breakfast also included juices, milk and coffee. We would definitely stay here again. A restaurant within a 3 minute walk is Hay J's and it is amazing. Looks like a little bistro but it isn't -the food is four star. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here and the menu was outstanding.
This would be a great hotel for a family or individual and even for a group because of the size and condition of the rooms and amenities. I hope to see improvement in their "group sales" area as our planning, check-in, and check-out were not well organized and we had many issues related to that leading up to coming and throughout our stay.
Not the most beautiful facility, but very adequate and convenient for overnight travelers! Just looking for a clean comfortable facility on our road trip and we found it. Staff recommended a wonderful area restaurant for dinner and it lived up to the recommendation. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Staff helpful. No problems.
Nice and Clean Hotel. Needed extra rollaway bed and blankets and sheets and they were easily delivered. The breakfast is pretty good but I have had better at different Best Westerns like more fresh fruit (blueberries), bacon, etc. Overall nice and clean hotel with great service.
Everything was very cool, especially the ladie Mauren who works in the breakfast, she was so friendly and help us with information about place to visit. We enjoyed the weekend there and want back soon.
This property is a great value for traveling. Quiet, safe, clean and friendly. I appreciated the nice breakfast in the morning and the refreshing swim and relaxing hot tub in the evening. Beds are comfortable and it's a quiet location. Free internet makes getting some extra work done easy.
This hotel was very nice and clean. While everyone we dealt with was nice, Dionna more than anyone else went above and beyond to accommodate our group's needs in the meeting room. I would stay here again because it's a nice property, but in particular because of the great service of Dionna. In my travels, I don't run across people this devoted to their guests needs.
Rooms were not cleaned from day to day. Beds unmade, towels not exchanged. Amount charged for room was more than indicated on the check out receipt, $185.42 versus $139.07. We were part of a group renting several rooms while attending a local event. All of our group reported problems with housekeeping.
This hotel is very clean. Received excellent services from the front desk . The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice added bonus to the stay. Did not have time to swim in the pool but it to looked very nice. Will definitely stay here in there in the future.
overall experience with the hotel was very good, the breakfast offered was tasteful, diverse and well presented. room very clean air conditioning could be improved a bit hard to get a temperature set.
We stayed here on our way east on I90. The room was clean, well appointed and quiet. Check in was easy and we were there in time for a beer at their Happy Hour, a pleasant additional surprise to us East Coasters. They have coffee 24/7 as well as a pretty complete breakfast buffet. A bonus was a great trail, Liberty Lake's Centennial Trail, less than a half mile away following along the Spokane River. This time of year the trail was surrounded by a bonanza of wild flowers. An added bonus to a nice stay.
Although close to the interstate, this is a quiet location only a couple of exits away from the Spokane Valley Mall. My room was quite large and airy, although the bathroom is very cramped. Some of the furniture and fixtures are in need of updating, with chips and marks. Four stories high, this hotel has a very slow elevator that is also frequently used by hotel staff. The door to my room has trim to keep the sounds from the hallway out, but it also kept the door open if you didn't purposefully close it. My bed was very comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean. The TV was 42" and had HD channels including HBO. There were a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in and enjoy the room. The desk was adequately sized for work, although the business chair has seen better days from lots of use. The bathroom is very small, with two marble topped sinks outside in the main room. Getting in and out of the shower/bath requires navigating around the toilet. And sitting on the toilet requires closing the bathroom door and knocking your knees on the toilet paper holder. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as you can't be certain what is in the dispensers! The breakfast was good, with fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, and coffee. There's also a refrigerator and microwave in the room, although no utensils.
We decided at the last minute to go from BC to Spokane area. We had some BW rewards certificates to use but still didn't want to spend a lot. Was quoted a rate before leaving, and I confirmed it a few times whether it was "all in" or plus taxes. After being told it was "all in", I booked it and we arrived that evening. On check in, we were charged "plus taxes". After actually talking to the young lady who booked me in, the manager took over and made sure to adjust the price to make it down to where we were supposed to pay. This manager, Michelle, was amazing to say the least! She was by herself for a while and the hotel was full. She was a trooper and kept her calm and dignity while dealing with multitudes of people. The king suite we had, had the best bed I've ever slept in. It was so comfy. However the pull out that our friends slept on was just springs. So down I went and talked to Michelle about getting extra blankets to put on the mattress to try to cushion it a bit, which did make a difference. The breakfast was great and the 3 ladies working were very diligent to make sure there was fresh food available and clean tables always. All in all a great experience we look forward to trying again soon
We had a pleasant, hassle-free night after a very long drive. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous, our room was exactly what I expected with comfy beds, clean, and within easy walking from the parking lot. The breakfast was pretty standard affair, but hot and with a reasonable choice of healthy options.
Although right off the freeway rooms are quiet and beds are very comfortable. Good internet and a surprisingly expansive breakfast selection. Happy hour from 5-7 and bat keep very friendly. Great experience.
I stayed here with my 14 yr old daughter on May 26th. Our stay was OK. Not bad, but not great either. Some of my complaints about our stay are not the hotels fault, it was more other people being extremely inconsiderate of others when they stay in a hotel. I was woken up at 6 am by a 7 or 8 yr old yelling down the hall to his mother. Instead of the mother quieting him down, she was yelling back down the hall to him. That was followed by kids running up and down the hall and being loud. All before 6:30am. Both times we arrived and both times we left, there were inconsiderate people blocking the driveway and didn't care that I needed to drive into or out of the parking lot. Onto the hotel- there is one elevator and it's pretty gross and slow. Definitely needs a deep cleaning. We checked in and then went a checked the room to make sure it was clean and ready for us, then we left for a few hours. When we returned, my daughter went to get on the Internet and needed a user name and password. I looked on my check in stuff for it and all over the "hotel pamphlets"- nothing. Had to call the front desk. Kind of a pain. Not a huge deal but wouldn't it be easier to inform people when they check in instead of having everyone call the front desk for it? Overall it was OK for the price. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. I did not like the cheap shampoo, conditioner dispenser in the bathroom and the layout of the room was odd. I would probably stay again if the price was right.
The hotel is very convenient to the interstate and there is a wonderful restaurant close by, albeit, it is expensive. I have stayed here many times without incident and actually consider this my go-to place in the area. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Our bathroom was a little cramped and that was annoying. Have said that I will stay again.
We have been staying at this hotel for 8 consecutive years as a group of couples on a golf holiday in the Spokane area. We have always enjoyed our stays and the staff have been so accommodating. The rooms and common areas have been updated and this location is comfortable and clean.
Hotwire rated this hotel at 3 stars, and I have to agree with that rating. The room was nice enough to garner 4 stars, but since negative points irritate twice as much as positive things impress, it's just a few things that would stop me from giving 4 stars. They have gone "green" by eliminating individual shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and have installed a dispenser on the shower wall, which would be OK, except the "FULL" conditioner was plugged, and I was unable to get any conditioner from it. The cleaning staff should not only fill it, but make sure they work. Although the room was modern and very nice, the bathroom was old and dated. Needs a remodel. And the toilet paper brand was as rough as using photocopy paper. But those three small things aside, I was still very happy with my stay. When booked throught Hotwire, the rate I paid, I think was still a very good deal. Pool table and video games were available in the lounge room, free internet, and complimentary breakfast made this a hotel I'd return to.
The staff was great and we were treated like family. The hotel has a pool table that we enjoyed learning to play. The happy hour was great - drinks and food and friendly staff to take good care of us. It was like being at home.
We stayed here for the shopping checking in on Friday 5/13 for two nights. When we first checked in the room was completely clean. We had three children with us 2 under 12 years and a baby, we got dinner through a drive thru and ate in our room, we made the kids clean up all the mess and put their trash in the trash. The next day we went shopping all day, no one took a shower so the bathroom wasn't a mess. When we returned on Sat. night, our room had not been touched! A short note was on the bed explaining that they could not touch our beds because we left some personal items on the beds (somewhat understandable) I work in a hotel and have over 20 years experience in the field, this was un-acceptable for a hotel with the brand Best Western, an excuse for the housekeeping department to do NOTHING I mean nothing the bathroom was not cleaned, no clean towels or wash cloths no trash emptied (it was full from our drive through trash) we taught our kids to have respect for the room but the housekeepers (for lack of a better word) did not do a thing......I normally do not say bad things about hotels because I know there are hard workers in this field and the competition is getting greater, but this was totally wrong. I hope someone with a Title will recognize this and do something about the staff in your housekeeping department, they are the backbone of your establishment and deserve to be appreciated, but NOT this department..... The pool was terrible it had scum floating on top of it and slime on the bottom.
We stayed here for the first time, and our customer service was so adapting that we came a second time. I am always visiting Spokane and I love to stay at Peppertree. I get my family to stay here now. We are a young couple with 3 children and they make us feel welcome and our children love it too, especially the breakfast in the morning.
Easy access to I-90 we stopped in to check on room availability. The Best Western website showed much higher rates than what I was able to get walking in. Front desk gal was very friendly and helpful, sorry I didn't catch your name to mention here. Plenty of parking, room was very clean & comfortable. Great big TV, wifi, coffee in room, fridge, microwave and seating area and hot breakfast included you can't go wrong with this location.
Great service. The TV controller did not work in the morning after our stay, so we could not see what the weather was going to be like on the way home. Other than the TV remote not working the next morning all was great. Friendly personnel, room was clean and everything worked except the TV remote the next morning. The breakfast was exceptional.
when i checked this hotel out on the internet at the best western site it said there was an outside pool with slide but when we got here -no slid nor outside pool, what hapened to them???!!! becides that the stay and staff were/are great
Upon entering our room we found the bathroom to have been poorly cleaned and we had to call for housekeeping to return while we were out for the evening. There was a sticky stain in front of the sink also that never did get cleaned and we ended up wiping that up ourselves. There was a spilled drink mess in front of the elevator that you had to step around and that never did get cleaned up (we didn't report it ourselves but housekeeping walked right over it every time they used the elevator). Poor housekeeping here.
This hotel is perfect for couples, family or business. We rented the family suite for a girlfriend weekend trip and were very comfortable. There was a King bed in the main room and a separate bedroom with a Queen size bed. The mattress was extremely comfortable! Hotel is located right off the freeway only a few minutes outside Spokane. Well worth the drive and a great value. We also visited couer d'Alene which was about 15 minutes in the opposite direction. Great central location. The staff were professional and accommodating. The breakfast was well presented and the attendant was friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze and getting the receipt under the door make check out even easier. This will be our first choice anytime we are travelling to Spokane!
This hotel is ideally located right off an exit from I90 west. Easy off, easy on. Quiet location. Seems fairly new. Our king room was relatively roomy and had a comfy sofa to sit and watch the TV. Bed was comfortable. Having a mini fridge as well is always a must have for me. Free breakfast better then average. Only minor complaint is they need to upgrade the shower head. There is a gas station next door with a well supplied convenience store or short trip over the highway will get you to a drug store or grocery store if you need something. We will likely be back in the near future.
I prefer Best Westerns for the price, cleanliness and overall comfort. The in house breakfasts are usually a great perk. I travel a lot and have found BW to be my preference. I have stayed at this particular BW Plus on previous occasions and am very satisfied with the staff, treatment and overall amenities.
The Best Western Peppertree in Liberty Lake Wa is the best place to stay when in the area, It is quiet, clean, comfortable and it has the best staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. All of the staff are well trained in customer service and do everything possible to make your stay a very pleasant experience.
The room was very nice until a needle got stuff in my heel. The front desk person that checked us in was very nice. As we waited on the elevator, it opened we stood back and the employee plowed right by us. After the needle got stuck in my foot, took it to the front desk to advise them that they might want to run the vacuum better, the same person that almost ran us over coming out of the elevator, took the needle and said oh. No apology or anything else. On the other hand the breakfast was pretty good and the person running it was very nice. Nice eggs (not runny or overcooked) either bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy and the good old stand by waffle. I recommend staying here even with the needle in my foot.
This hotel has a great staff, clean rooms and nice pool area. They were very friendly and were generous in their efforts to make sure any question was answered and that we were taken care of at all levels. I will definitely be staying here again.
I usually stay at this property any time I am in the Spokane CDA area. Quick breakfast makes this a good value. Usually top Internet availability and good access to I90. No noise issue and beds are nice. Plenty of food places nearby with two within walking distance.
I like the way the rooms are set up and the granite counters, Beds are comfortable, room is clean, nice open floor plan, decent breakfast and happy hour. Fitness center and business center needs an upgrade though.
I found this BW Plus to be an excellent stay and would recommend it anyone traveling or visiting the area. I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and professional. The free breakfast was great, well presented and clean. The breakfast attendant did a fabulous job.
The website indicates week day reception / happy hour and a placard in the room lists a happy hour with beverages and light dinner. The first night we received beverages but there was no food. The large TV in the lounge area was not functional and the one employee there did not know how to make it work. We attributed that to she was covering the duties of two employees as one had called in sick. She is to be commended for her excellent attempts to help us out and she did an excellent job. The second night a young girl was in the lounge and she provided us beverages for happy hour, when I inquired about the light dinner she said they haven't had any food for a while...I suggested they then remove the web statement and room placard that says there is... I asked if she could get the TV to work and she said she has never been able to get that TV to work?? The pool and hot tub room had a sign on the door that said temporarily closed for service. We asked about that and she said it has been under repair for a long time?? The room was excellent and the breakfast was excellent and the employees were excellent. We were very pleased with everything except the happy hr / reception advertised as light dinner that had NO food at all and the non functional TV. Seems to me that if it has not been working for a while some one would fix it... The dead hot tub that said temporarily down for maintenance that had been down for a while was disappointing also. I would think those are amenities that were advertised and an adjustment of room rate would be appropriate? If nothing else stop the advertising of light dinner a reception with light snacks if there isn't any.
Hotel appearance and staff were great. Bed very comfortable. Only sink and mirror was in the bedroom area (right across from the bed) very odd, have actually never seen that before. Breakfast not as good as other BW properties.
We stay at the peppertree on most trips to Spokane ,Wa. and or CouerD-alane ,Id The Rates are good and we can go to either Spokane or CouerD-alane.from there. Resturants are close and we have always been treated well.
It is a great hotel in a great location but the night management staff is unable or unwilling to control the noise at night. There were people coming and going virtually all night, slamming doors, talking loudly in the hall and taking showers. Management was unresponsive and ineffective in taking care of the problem.
We used this Best Western as a stop-over on our way to Glacier National Park. It had well appointed rooms, the breakfast was good and it was easy to find. There are several restaurants nearby of reasonable quality.
We had a one nite stay and we look for comfort , King bed was just right •,pillows were lumpy not up to par, only two bath towels . Just skimpy. The room had an upscale look to it the lack of towels down graded it a bit Otherwise it was clean and nice and quiet. Two great places to dine very near -- walking distance.
Hotel staff were not friendly. I had to go three different times to the front desk to get my key to work during my two day stay. The way the rooms were set up were awful. The sink was basically right in front of the bed you slept in. Staff didn't even know how to use a gift card until I said, I'm not leaving until someone can do it. I asked for a receipt. They didn't even have computer paper to print one out. They took my email address to mail me one. Never did receive it though.
I have stayed at this hotel three times and I will book this hotel again. Everything is just the way I like it. I like the choices on the television and the internet service is very good. I like the breakfast choices, hot waffles, yogurt, etc.
We live close by, just over the boarder in Idaho and wanted to get together with our family for a birthday party for one of our grand daughters. We needed a pool- she got one of those mermaid fins as present. The Peppertree Inn worked out great. The pool was excellent- Kids had a ball. Rooms were outstanding. We made use of the large dinning room for a joint dinner meal. And enjoyed the hot breakfast the next day.
found this on a general hotel search looking for accommodation while visiting Spokane. Lovely place with great amenities, easy access to Spokane and much better value and atmosphere than closer in. 24 hour fitness/pool for adults, real complimentary breakfast. We've been in Spokane frequently and not found a good place to stay until this one.
Hotel was very clean. Staff was especially helpful and courteous, going so far as to loan me a DVD player and hooking it up for me. We were on a golfing vacation and there were several good courses nearby.
With a pool, full breakfast, and close to pizza we love taking our kids here. This was our second visit to this hotel, and we really enjoyed it. Love that the pool is 24 hours. My kids loved the amount of channels for tv.
Lovely room, the bed was so comfortable, didn't want to leave it. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast the typical BW style, could be improved, but guess it is due to ease of serving and costs.
Overall the hotel was fine ,staying for 2 nights were happy, then walking to our car after check out , discover glass broken , car vandalized. The parking lot was full upon arrival , so parked close to trash bins. Area is well lit, though apparently did not dissuade burglars. Disappointed no contact from management , ie. offers of assistance , as we are non US residents. We have traveled extensively in the past decade with no issues like this. We do keep valuables out of car, so did not lose anything other than a large deductible on our insurance. Recommend park as close to front of hotel as possible.
Up to the Best Western standards....would have liked to stay longer but management would not extend stay at the rate I originally booked....very disappointing Excellent indoor pool and a 5 Star breakfast
We frequently use this high quality property for Spokane visits. They have a large indoor pool; an advantage in the inland Northwest. They are also serious about recycling, and I appreciate that. There is a basket in the room, a bin at the elevator, and breakfast offers non-disposable utensils, plates and glassware. The breakfast is also quite good!
I wish I could've taken the room with me when I left! The decor, amazing; the bed, Huge and Soft; the overall appearance, clean and fresh! Our stay at this hotel was just a stop over on a long road trip and we considered cancelling the trip to spend our 2 weeks in that room :) The only negative I felt about this hotel is the pool area. The whirlpool/hot tub was not very hot and there was little to no oomf from the jets. Otherwise, even breakfast was great. Fresh, hot food was constantly being replaced and there was someone there making fresh breakfast burritos for you!! If you are passing through Spokane Valley and need a place to stay, stay here! You won't regret it :D
We travel several times a year to Portland and Seattle, and we always choose to stay here at Liberty Lake. This hotel is everything you could ask for - super clean, comfortable beds, great staff, and a wide-range of breakfast food to choose from. Plus it's much less expensive than similar hotels in Spokane.
Free beer with check in??? Heck yes! After traveling all day, when we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was happy hour, which, at this best western, means free beer! And quality draught beer from a local brewer, which was fabulous. We lucked out because we didn't have any neighbors or much hallway traffic, because you can hear EVERYTHING from the hallway in the room. Our room was clean and new. The lady bartending during the happy hour bar (and was also there serving breakfast) was extremely friendly and fun. The pool and whirlpool were nice. My credit card did get charged for 103$ that wasn't explained. After I made a couple phone calls, they refunded my card and had no idea why it was charged that amount. I had booked through hotels.com and was already charged 121 from them.
