Staff very friendly, clean and comfortable rooms. Every time I went to the reception, they were friendly and supportive. The entire staff was knowledgeable about the entire city and the facilities. I will definitely stay here every time I visit this beautiful city. Thank you very much best western
The hotel is sophisticated and the location is good near to the river bank, but the rooms are too small and the services are not upto the mark as the kitchen was reluctant to take orders even though the time was not up, the reception lady was nice and welcoming and helpful, the bathroom was small and the shower space was small considering i am just 5.10 and around 44 inch shoulder size. not much to mention more its a decent hotel for a nights stay.
Very small property near the old town of Kutaisi, next to the river. The room was comfortable but the breakfast area was cramped. Parking can also be an issue. There is a rooftop restaurant which is nice and the staff there were eager to please.
Oh this hotel will beat all the 5* . Everything was just excellent. Staring from staffs , location , breakfast, room & service. Nothing to complain. Our family enjoyed the stay . I will highly recommend Best Western Kutaisi. There staffs in the breakfast area were just too good . Thank you for the service.
Had a great stay at Best Westen Kutaisi. The staff is very hospitable and kind. The rooms were very tidy and clean, overall we had a great time in the hotel and by the way restaurant menu is very diverse and has a beautiful view of the city. In the whole hotel is a very good atmosphere.
Best Western Kutaisi, a hotel of dreams. A night mare though. But still a dream. On arrival (2 am) the first room was dirty. The second room was incredibly small, had the thermostat set to 27 degrees, broken toilet and the third room did not have a king bed, as promised. Decided to stay in the sauna and to sort things in the morning. The whole process took 90 minutes, not what you want when you get off a long and delayed flight. The next morning I spoke with the front office manager, she offered an upgrade to a suite and complimentary dinner. I accepted. In the evening I went to bed. I noticed the room was in need of renovation. The next morning I took a closer look. The room was filled with mold and fungus. I spoke with the manager and demanded a full refund that was granted. Unfortunately I came back home with a nasty respiratory infection. I informed the manager, he did not even answer that part of my email. The rooms that I stayed in are below every standard one would expect. Housekeeping is very poor. Hygiene below acceptable level. Soundproofing non existent. The suite room was a health and safety hazard. The hotel promised to take action. My recommendation? Avoid at all cost. Don't be fooled, this is not a hotel with an international standard.
I had the great fortune to be able to visit beautiful Kutaisi, where I stayed here at the brilliant Best Western Kutaisi. My flight was very, VERY late, and I didn't arrive at the hotel until 03:00! This was no problem for Beka, the front desk professional who warmly greeted me with a smile. I stayed in Room 103, and it was beautiful. Everything was absolutely spotlessly clean and inviting. The room was modern, meticulously appointed with 5-star amenities. Robes, thick and oversized towels, a very modern and brilliantly functional shower system, slippers and a comfortable bed were most welcome. The breakfast was also extensive and freshly prepared, with classical continental selections, as well as absolutely delicious Georgian delicacies including fresh cheeses and desserts! Special thanks to Lika for her attentive and professional service. The rooftop area is not to be missed, with incredible views and delicious food and drink services. There were spaces both inside and outside on a meticulously maintained open and expansive sitting area which featured stunning views of the city, the river, the Soviet-era mountain gondola, and the massive mountain range near the city. Special thanks to Reži, Diana, Natia and General Manager Vako for such a wonderful stay. The location is top center, and the service is top quality. I look forward to my next visit to this wonderful hotel and the beautiful city of Kutaisi.
The hotel has great location. Kutaisi does not have any hotel more than 3-star hotel and among them, The Best Western is perhaps the only one which is part of a chain. So be advised that you dont have much choice. As a result, what you get is comfortable bed and proximity to the centre of the town. That's it. The rooms are old. I stayed in #102. The bathroom has wheelchair assisting set-up making it uncomfortable for young family like mine. The roof in washroom was damp. The carpets have not been changed ever since the hotel started. The roof top restaurant has basic food option. The breakfast option is very limited. No other option than espresso and americano, not even capuccino. There are no disposable cups. There is no concept of creamer.
Reception was arrogant and overbearing. The promised parking lots: "Oh, just no space". The room: dirty and (ok - that is Best Western): very small. Location is ok; you just cross the bridge to be in the heart of the city. But except location the hotel and the staff is a no go!!!!
We booked our trip two months in advance directly on the best western website, we arrived at the hotel to find our reservation was cancelled. They accused us of cancelling it ourselves when in fact we later found out there had been a change in management and some reservations had been cancelled as a result. We ended up in a very tiny room with 1 bed for a family of 4 as that was the only room they had left that day. The room they gave us still had trash from the previous visitors, and then they charged us pretty much the same price for that room as the suite we had booked. No attempt to make the situation right. The breakfast was average. Will actively avoid Best Western in the future.
The location of the hotel is strategic and has a river view… The breakfast buffet had a range of cuisines that I liked. The room was spacious and I was lucky to have a river view. Spent my sunsets on the hotel's rooftop in the cold weather. But above all, I want to thank the staff especially Archil, Keso, Bato & Nini… they were cheerful, helpful and professional. On my last day I had to leave very early so they prepared for me a lunch box with coffee so I don't miss my breakfast… definitely visiting again. With love, Norma
This hotel is very clean and spacious! The rooftop restaurant had some of the best food we had our whole trip! The staff was very helpful, and we had no problem communicating with them, in english, and russian. The service seemed very personal, and we will be staying here our next trip for sure!
Nice hotel in the city centre by the bridge, great view of the river, clean room, well kept. Very helpful staff. Could not take advantage of the breakfast, but we were kindly offered breakfast box. really nice thought.
I stayed here twice during my trip to Georgia. The first time, I arrived at the hotel close to midnight and was quickly checked in by the friendly receptionist who spoke English very well. The second time, I arrived in the afternoon and everything worked as swiftly then, as well. My room was not very large, but adequate. It was clean and in good condition and would nicely fulfill all four star criteria. The bed was large and comfortable and there were sockets by the bed. The desk was large and in addition, there was an armchair in the room. A 0.5 L bottle of water was provided, not replenished. There was a safe in the room, too. The curtains did a good job keeping the room dark. Noise insulation was poor, though, so you could easily hear other guests in the corridor and adjoining rooms. Wifi was free, fast, reliable and unlimited. The bathroom was not very big, but adequate. It came with a walk-in shower with good water pressure both in the handheld as well as the overhead shower. Amenities included slippers and a bathrobem which was impressive! There were individual bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion as well as bars of soap. I appreciate the minibottles as these are far more hygienic than the wall-mounted containers some hotels choose to put up on their bathroom walls to save money. My room was inclusive of breakfast, served 7–11 in the ground floor cafeteria. Breakfast came with both hot and cold items. The selection wasn't huge, but there were cheeses and cold cuts, fruit and vegetables, yoghurt, dates, eggs, sausages and even omelettes prepared on request. I paid 61 EUR/night, including breakfast, and this hotel of international standards was well worth it. I don't know if it has three or four stars, but apart from the room size perhaps, I woud gladly award them four. The hotel has a good location next to the White Bridge and a ten-minute walk from the heart of Kutaisi. The taxi ride to the airport takes about 30 min and costs 30 GEL.
A wonderful hotel that left only the best impressions. Firstly, the location is convenient, there is literally everything you need nearby, as well as beautiful places for a walk. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and tidy. From the lobby to the restaurant on the 6th floor, everything is pleasing to the eye. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The beds are as comfortable as possible, resting on them after a long journey is a pleasure. The staff is friendly and willing to help and advise. Breakfast is included in the amount of accommodation. It is varied and very tasty. Lunch and dinner can be eaten in the restaurant located on the 6th floor, where the food is simply excellent. I would like to say a huge thank you and recommend it with confidence for a holiday.
Nicely located in the center of town by the bridge. Super friendly and professional staff , the best we've encountered in Georgia. Suite was roomy and had the most comfy bed and sofa. Included breakfast was very comprehensive and delicious! Definitely the place in Kutaisi!
Friendly staff especially nini gabunia <3 beautiful place and good service, chill music and Cozy environment, beautiful view and everything to make you satisfied, A delicious drink, I recommend you to visit this place and unwind after a tiring day
The hotel is located in the city centre and right next to the pedestrian Tetri Bridge. The reception area is quite small and the predominant colour is grey. We had a Deluxe corner room and the extra space was well worth the expense. There was a walk-in wardrobe with plenty of space to spread out. We had a living room with TV (not working), bedroom and spacious bathroom. There was safe box; bathrobes and slippers were also provided. There was plenty of seating and tea and coffee-making facilities were in the lounge. Good lighting. The bed was huge and comfortable. Walk-in shower had great pressure and was easy to regulate. Breakfast was fairly standard and staff seemed dis-interested.
The hotel looks nice from outside , things go quite south once you have checked in… not even sure where to start . Hand towels with holes in it , tv not working ( when I mentioned it the reply I got was “well tv does not work in any room “) minibar not working , disastrous breakfast buffet service . Staff not trained to say “we are sorry “ and not trying to learn from mistakes . The second day of our stay , after I complained about hand towels with holes ripped in it , we found once again towels in terrible conditions , unacceptable for a hotel chain that in Kutaisi charges one of the highest rate per night . Best western is not a 4 or 5 star I know … but here can be considered a very expensive option . Please make sure you train the staff to be empathic with guests and get things fixed on the room . In the bathroom the geberit button for flashing the water was coming lose and fell all the time in the toilet , not nice as you can imagine to pick it up from there . We mentioned it and of course no one came to fix it . Will never return and I will avoid best western in general moving forward .
We stayed at hotel for just one night on the way to Mestia. Hotel is modern, conveniently located. With great on site restaurant on the top floor with beautiful views and food service. Special shoutout to Beka, our wonderful waiter that night. Hotel also has a breakfast room with nice selection of breakfast meals. Would definitely recommend this hotel
We stayed here for one night. The hotel doesn't have a pool or gym. The receptionists were nice but made a mixup at check out. Everything went well in the end. They told us that we didn't pay for the second room even though we did. Just make sure you insist on your point and don't pay twice! The room was a bit tight. It's okay if you had no luggage. The room was clean and comfortable with coffee and tea as well as complimentary water. The location of the hotel isn't bad. It's right at the Belly Bridge. If you cross the bridge, you can get to many restaurants and shops. I would stay here again if I had to visit Kutaisi again. It was a pitstop for us.
Well, there is nothing much to do in Kutaisi (as a city) but the hotel is located right at the river (cable car) and some other small attractions. The only branded hotel in Kutaisi.. prices are not soo crazy.. Ms. Lana (General Manager) was very supportive and did some amazing stuff for us at the terrace (thank you Lana).. Breakfast was fine (could be better) as it was a small set-up, rest all were good
Lovely location right next to the bridge which is a tourist attraction. Rooms are crammed but neat and cozy for a night's stay. Dont expect views as the window is not designed for it. We checked in at 10.30 and reception said we can order food or go to restaurant in the hotel till 12. I called restaurant at 11 for food and they say kitchen is closed. When I said reception mentioned its open till 12, they say they don't know about it. I had to walk out of hotel, go hunt for a late night Wendy's and buy food for family. Breakfast had small spread but was decent and manageable. Recommended for small stays where you will spend most time of the day outside and use hotel only for sleeping.
We are so happy for making our first trip to georgia. Memorable and Happy as ever expected! Thank you to Miss tekla, Miss lana, Mr. Ravez, Mr Datu and all the hotel staff who always make sure that our expectation will be given to us. They welcome us with a soothing taste of their coffee and ofcourse miss lana's smile, Mr datu make sure that our things are All safe. Miss tekla always give our needs immediately. And on August 8 they prepared a surprise dinner for us for our 14th year anniversary! We ate here at their restaurant with the best food and with the helping hands of Mr. beka, Mr. Goga and Miss Natia. Keep up the good work Best western Kutaisi and hoping for more costumer that will experience satisfaction and happiness in your hotel! God bless BEst western kutaisi , God bless Georgia! From. mr Jayson and Mrs.Rhej Rivera
Stayed 12 nights in Georgia and this was by far the worst stay, the city of Kutaisi is gorgeous and calm but this hotel was dirty by all means. Broken balcony door and bad odor everywhere. Nice staff though and nice roof top restaurant. Never staying in BW again in any other city I think since it's an international hotel it should stand to the standards of the Brand.
BEST BEST WESTERN HOTEL IVE BEEN TO with great views delicious food served in the restaurant as well as on breakfast, attentive caring and helpful staff, great rooms with modern design and great cleanliness, especially liked the front view.
Very friendly employees and a beautiful hotel in Kutaisi. The bed was soft and comfortable which is uncommon in Georgia, at least to my experience. Room had a nice French door balcony and don't forget to check out the roof top restaurant and bar. The music on the rooftop was a little bit loud but overall an excellent stay!
We stayed for 2 nights at BW Kutaisi at the beginning if the month. The property is very conveniently located by the Riverside and is a short walk to everything that is the city centre. Kutaisi is a very small town per se and the rooms are sufficiently spacious to meet visitors need for a short stay. The breakfast served has a decent variety and is sumptuous enough to start the day with full energy. The hotel also appears to be fairly new and is well maintained. Recommended for your stay in Kutaisi.
This hotel was a perfect stay for my two kids and I. We booked the deluxe suite for a reasonable price and I enjoyed my own room away from my little rascals. Having two bedrooms was pleasant (with a sliding door in-between) but the only negative was the fold out couch/bed wasn't comfortable at all. This didn't affect my review as I have never found a comfortable fold out couch/bed combo. The location is excellent for accessing the pedestrian areas of Kutaisi as the White Bridge is out the front door and the Red Bridge is a block northward. The hotel's food options were both solid... the breakfast buffet has an adequate selection (could use more refilling more often though, all three days we were waiting on the kitchen to catch-up to demand) and the rooftop dinner was excellent with lots of fun options. The bartender was cool up there too and did some custom drinks not on the menu for house prices. The front desk crew were all cool with their own interesting stories (if you talk to them for a bit) and super professional. They can help you with anything you need in the city! Great stay overall and a chance to have modern amenities, space and peace before adventuring to the areas, mountains and caves nearby!
Very professional service, prime location. Great for family, spacious rooms, got separate room with sofa bed as well, extremely spacious and well organized bathroom. Breakfast is served early which enables you to plan your day better
The Front Desk Team were fantastic. They helped us arrange parking and directed us to shopping. Your wonderful breakfast attendant was smiling and cheerful! Thank you for bringing a delicious fruit plate to our room!
Great hotel! Fantastic, very central location, good restaurant at the top, excellent staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Special thanks to Neliko at the front desk - she arranged for an early check-in for us which was much appreciated as we arrived after an overnight flight
The hotel has all that it takes: very nice bed (it's worth a special mention), comfortable room equipped with all necessary stuff; a very nice rooftop bar/restaurant. Highly recommended. There was a strange smell that I didn't like but got used to it soon.
The rooms are reasonably sized. The breakfast was perfect. Best location, and everything is nearby. The hotel staff is accommodating, and I experienced the best customer service. I want to mention the name of Neliko. I highly recommend this property for short and long stays.
Amazing hotel, best in Georgia for sure and better than most of Best Western chain hotels I've been to. Very clean rooms, nice style, great staff with smiles plastered on their faces and delicious breakfast.
Overall awesome experience...starting with great location (city center), caring and helpful staff (Maria, Igor, Neliko to name few of them), flexibility from Hotel Team in arranging everything we wanted.
stay in the hotel for my family was like a fresh air sip in the grey fog of our situation when we stacked in alien country far away from home! thanks for whole Team, who did they everyday job with sincere smile!
The carpet was very wet and smelled very bad and . the room had bugs in the bathroom and setting room. Good internet. Good location.very near from the center. The Breakfast was good. Different foods and drinks.
The hotel was clean and tidy, hotel personnel was very polite and helpful,i would like thanks Neliko for her hospitality and kindness, she prepare good breakfast for me since i was leaving before breakfast time,i'm waiting my next trip to best western.
I spent couple of nights at Best western Kutaisi, which is ideally located near white bridge. The property is fairly good but not with any views but we can see Bagrati cathedral from our hotel. Breakfast was very minimal and not upto the expectations , neither the ladies at the counter as they don't seem very eager to serve you better. On the other hand , the reception staff and all other staff were excellent through out . If a travel again to Kutiais, I would definitely prefer BW as my kutaisi stay.
Very nice linens, bathrobe and towels. Great bed and clean room. Perfect location in Kutaisi. Beautiful view of Bagrati Cathedral from my room. I was very pleased with my choice of hotel and would stay again if return to Georgia.
excellent hotel, good staff. good restaurant. the best location in Kutaisi. staff is attentive, smiling. food is delicious. hotel is located in the center of the city and its easy to see sights on foot.
Horrible hotel. Overpriced for what they offer. Very limited breakfast, small rooms and staff was not so nice. Rooftop terrace restaurant was overpriced too. Food was just bland. They should offer more when they charge such a high price. I had higher expectations.
Stying on Best Western Hotel didn't met my expectations at all. I did face many issues regarding the cleanse, customer service, broken items as well as breakfast. I did request someone to fix the security box on the room, they didn't I did asked for Ironing machine and Ironing board, they did't want to bring it from other costumers which was there since last night. I did report cleaning issues as well.
Highly recomended!! I visited the hotel for one night, the room was excellent, also used the hotel car, driver was named Rezo and he was great, he drove us from Kutaisi to Tbilisi, he was a great profetional and nice to chat with!
The Best Western is located in center of Kutaisi just at the White Bridge. A short walk gets you to the interesting Historical Museum, and to the central square. Staff do everything possible to ensure you have a great stay! And best of all, the rooftop grill and bar finally included some very nice local and natural wines on the menu.
Kutaisi is a beautiful little old town and this hotel is right next door to the main points of interest. The property was excellently maintained and spotlessly clean. We dined in the terrace restaurant, which had good local wine and dishes. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed. I didn't have any problems parking. My flight arrived at around midnight, but there were no problems checking in so late. I would certainly stay here again.
My husband and i visited this amazing hotel in August and it was unforgettable, stuff is amazing, food is super delicious, and the most important , it is super comfortable for relaxing , especially fluffy beds, highly recommended
I was there for several days and I have to say that everything was pretty good. Rooms ware comfortable, Breakfast was delicious and on top of that, I'm really happy about the way staff treated me as a guest. Thanks guys
I visited this hotel with my family. Simply amazing!! Really, clean rooms with comfortable beds, high class toilets. Highly recommend for family trips. Rooftop grill restaurant had an amazing view over the city, and food OMG! tasty, delicious, fresh and the best part was the staff that made our stay even better, they were always smiling, always ready to help. Hotel has an Italian restaurant on the first floor where cooks make an amazingly delicious pizza. Thank you! Will definitely come back again!
Very good place to Stay when in Kutaisi. Excellent location and a very comfortable rooms. But most importantly very helpful and sympathetic staff. I had paid full amount for a night for a room and due to a sudden change in my plan I had to leave earlier. Lana Sulakvelidze, very understanding and friendly Guest Service Coordinator offered a very generous partial refund that really helped. Thank you very much and I'm really looking forward to visiting you again soon.
Best Western in Kutaisi is very comfortable both in location and service. You get your moneys worth of customer service and comfort. Special thanks to Zakaria and Elizbar, who provided great service during breakfast.
The only western standard hotel in Kutaisi. Nice building, excellent, very convenient location, large, bright and clean rooms, very well designed. Large bathroom with all the necessary toiletries, wardrobe and sleepers. Breakfast area is located on the first floor, foods are good but missed very much some typical Georgian dishes. Staff was friendly and helpful. So, in general, the best hotel in Kutaisi, highly recommended!
Really good hotel for a short stay in Kutaisi. Here are the Good and the not so good part of it. Good: - Location is wonderful. Located right next to the White Bridge. - Staff is helpful and friendly,. - Room is clean and have all required amenities. - Rooftop Restaurant / Bar is really nice and have good selection of local wine (I really like the semi-sweet wine recommended by staff). Not so Good: - Breakfast - Although food offered was good but it was pretty much tailored to western Europe. I would have loved to eaten some local dishes in the breakfast, what a Georgian eats in their breakfast. Georgia has such a lovely cuisine, the hotel should ot shy from putting some offerings in their. - Value for Money - Considering the prices of hotels locally, I think it was a lil expensive (again keeping other local hotel prices for comparison). These are the only two reason for giving a 4 instead of 5 rating.
We stopped by Kutaisi to visit Gelti Monastery and Bagrati Cathedral and were delighted by this brand new Best Western Hotel situated at the bridge over Rioni River. We worried about booking issues as we saw on Tripadvisor. Fortunately, we did not have any problem with our bookings for 5 rooms as it was confirmed through one of the large hotel booking sites. Across the river there are several restaurants. The front staff that checked us in spoke English but apart from that English is limited in this property. They do not have bell boys and you need to bring up the luggage yourself. The rooms were modern clean but one of our rooms (out of 5) had a serious leak from the down pipe of the wash basin. Since we only had a night, we let the hotel sort it out next day. The hotel has a roof top restaurant and bar that comes with a live band. It appears well patronised by the local when we went up there to have a look. It is true that the room windows are not "sufficiently" double glazed and some street noise can be heard but they went away after 11pm. Although the breakfast area was small, the breakfast spread was sufficient which we enjoyed very much after the tour group left at about 8.30am. We enjoyed our stay and will certain use this property the next time in Kutaisi or recommend it to our friends coming this way.
Nice hotel in the center of Kutaisi. Rooms are big and quiet, bathroom perfect! Very friendly personnel at reception desk, breakfast with good choice, personnel in breakfast room not very interseted in theit^r job....
I have to echo other reviews about how comfy these beds are. We stayed at some lovely hotels in Georgia, but nothing as comfortable as this one. The service was great and the bathroom had really good water pressure. Perfect location.
Soooo comfortable that it felt like a nest! The best mattress I encountered in the country! Great staff too. They offered directions and were polite and pleased when I attempted a few Georgian words. This location is in walking distance of so many things and right at the White Bridge. We also got a free breakfast.
The ubicación is perfect only 2 min walking a cross de bridge untill de city center The room is a bit little bit the bed is very comfortable Kong size Very clean in general The breakfast is adecuated and the staff is very nice
Our room at Best Western Tbilisi, though small, was very clean, brightly lit and air-conditioned to beat the summer heat. The king-sized bed was capacious and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant serves a delicious array of local fare and barbecued meats, in an alfresco setting with panoramic views of the White Bridge spanning the River. A relaxing place to unwind after a long road trip from Tbilisi.
We really enjoyed our stay because of the perfect location close to the river and the city centre, the rich and varied breakfast, the cozy room and the friendly staff. A special mention to Lana that made a great effort to help us. I definitely recommend this hotel.
We were 2 nights in the Hotel and found it perfect. Excellent location and brand new facilities. The first evening we had dinner at the rooftop restaurant and the dinner was excellent with a great choice of local and international food. Definitely a food choice!
We stayed 2 times in this hotel and we found the hotel as the best value for money. The friendly professional stuff the clean and equipt rooms and a special front guard Mr. Zaal that help us, make our saying very comfortable.
We spend three nights in Best Western Kutaisi and were really pleased with the level of service - with special mention to Lana and Zura at front desk (plus the guy who handled our check-in, which I had missed his name), who provided much needed assistance with our on-line check in for outbound flight. The hotel is clean, comfortable and located within easy reach to many bars and restaurants in the city, the only minor issue would be the height of WC seat ... Which is a little too tall for my wife!
The Best Western is a modern hotel built in the perfect location - just few steps from the beautiful, pedestrianised White Stones bridge on the river Rioni, and the old and lovely city centre on the other side of the river. The views from the terrace are fantastic; the restaurant is also there, so a dinner al fresco is a pleasant experience. The room we had was small but well appointed; the staff very kind and professional. Because of road works, the hotel is difficult to reach; but then this is true for the whole of Kutaisi (perhaps the whole of Georgia...), so I would not single it out for that!
Very good hotel with friendly staff. Near city center. Comfortable room with good amenities. Good and tasty food in restaurant. We were serviced by Lana. Check-in and check-out were fast. There is a little problem with road which is totaly mass destructed.
We had a great experience from check in to check out. We arrived quite late, after a long flight followed by a long drive from Tbilisi. We had dinner at the hotel, and the food was delicious. The rooms were warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this for anyone who decides to travel to Kutaisi.
BW Kutaisi was a great hotel. We stayed there one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. As we were on our honeymoon they kindly gave us a bottle of champagne and some delicious fruit - Thank you Zura Lomtadze and Lana! I can definitely recommend BW.
Cozy, bright, airy, modern hotel with very comfortable rooms and bedding. Service is very good. Wifi works well. Really cool rooftop bar/restaurant. Delicious breakfast buffet. Cross the bridge and you're in the centre of town. Highly recommended accommodation in Kutaisi.
(Closer to 3.5 stars) Given relatively limited higher-end hotel options in Kutaisi, I reserved and spent 3 nights at the Best Western here. While I enjoyed my stay and the hotel is generally very comfortable, there were some cons that offset the pros: Pros: + New hotel with comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms, sparkling clean + Great prime location right next to the White Bridge + Helpful, friendly, attentive front-desk staff + Welcoming fruit plate was a nice touch Cons/could use improvement: - Rooms are definitely on the small side and generically "Best Western" - little local color or flair - When I got to my room, a loud buzzing sound was coming from the minibar fridge. I called the front desk and they sent someone up... ultimately the fridge had to be turned off for the duration of my stay to stop the buzzing. The a/c was intermittently quite loud as well. - Despite it being June and hot, the bed had a heavy winter comforter on it. I emailed the hotel a request to replace it with a lighter summer blanket (I was out for the day and did not have a local phone) - there was no response and the blanket was never changed. - Breakfast room is small; if the hotel is fully-booked (e.g. with a large tour group as it was during my stay), the room gets full and it can be tricky to find a place to sit. - Given the above and that this is Kutaisi, the hotel is on the pricier side for what it is (I paid US$120/night). Still, despite the quibbles, overall I had a good stay here, and appreciated having a modern, clean, comfortable option in such a great central location.
i was in kutaisi only for 1 night and everything in this hotel was awesome, bigest impression was location of Best Western Kutaisi, everything was near to hotel, staff is very helpful, rooms are clean and breakfast was excellent,
This hotel was the best I have stayed at during my travel to 12 different countries. I had booked a Deluxe King Suite which was worth the money. Staff at reception, coffee shop and roof top restaurant was very welcoming and always available whenever needed. Our stay was made comfortable. Food at roof-top was nice and there are options available at in-house coffee shop. Amazing stay and nice experience. Thanks to all at Best Western Kutaisi
As the review title, the hotel location is very nice; lots of activities and shops nearby including the Belybridge / white bridge; the bridge with glass bottom blocks. A restaurant on rooftop gives a great view of river, mountain and river sound. We booked a suit and was great with two adjacent rooms with double bed (each). All services, bathroom, cleanliness etc very praiseworthy. Although the view of river is not directly in front but sideways but still quite good. We tried rooftop restaurant but very less options for vegetarians like us, had to manage with soup, grilled veg and rice. On the contrary the breakfast was quite good with lots of fruits and other usual options. Overall quite comfortable stay.
The staff at the Best Western in this Georgian city went out of their way to make my stay comfortable (In this case Mr Zura). Enjoyed the rooftop with the lovely view of the river and city as well. Fine breakfast and good cappuccino too.
Best Western Kutaisi is located close to the river on the opposite side from the centre of the city but within easy walking distance. I chose the hotel for my last night in Georgia before heading to the airport for its relative luxury compared to price and convenient location. Check in was friendly, with the receptionist speaking good English, but it turned out I'd been allocated a room that wasn't ready, even though it was mid-afternoon. This was soon rectified and I was given another room that turned out to be comfortable enough with a good clean bathroom (though the toilet was weirdly high!) and king-size bed. It overlooked the street and there was some traffic disturbance from a departing group coach early in the morning, even though the road ends in a pedestrian bridge just along from the hotel. Breakfast was good standard international fare. On leaving I asked the receptionist to call a taxi for me to get to the airport and I was offered the hotel's car and driver at 25 GEL - probably about 5 GEL more than an outside taxi but convenient and reliable without the need to wait or haggle.
The hotel was hard to reach by car as some of the roads leading to the hotel were worked on. Parking availability depends of the time one arrives. We managed to find a parking spot, but it was along a narrow and busy street. Importantly, the car was not damaged. The hotel turned 100% non-smoking and the staff is friendly and informative. We had a room on a higher floor which was spacious enough (long, but a bit narrow), with a good bed, bathroom with rainshower and a view of the river. Internet is a bit slow for uploading pictures, but fast enough for your regular surfing. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and regional dishes, We had dinner at the restaurant and in the cafe on the groundfloor and all three meals were tasty and freshly prepared. When in Kutaisi, highly recommended.
I usually avoid hotel chains as my preference is for trendy boutique hotels. I nevertheless selected Best Western as the choice was limited in Kutaisi for sleek modern hotels. The hotel is well located and its chic modern design was up my alley. The rooms are quite small. We were there for 2 nights and returned for another night. On our second stay, our room was even smaller than the first. The restaurant on the roof is well designed and has a wonderful view so having a meal there is recommended. The receptionists are excellent. On check in, they gave us our rooms quickly and offered to deliver our passports to our rooms, thus avoiding inconvenience for us whilst waiting for their paperwork. I would have rated this hotel 4 out of 5, if not for the poor breakfast spread.
We stayed here for 6 nights and absolutely loved it. It was a great base for our time in Kutaisi. The rooftop area and restaurant is lovely and the food was great. Staff were so nice and friendly. Our room was perfect. It was really clean, comfortable and big. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. We did some day tours with 'budgetgeorgia tours' who collected us from the hotel each day and I would highly recommend them. We did the canyons and caves tour, a city tour of Kutaisi including the monastery, a borjomi rabati and vardzia tour and white water rafting combined with a trip to racha mountain area. Fantastic!!!! We can't wait to return to Georgia and I highly recommend this hotel.
Wasn't sure what to expect, as it was my first time in Kutaisi. But really loved this hotel. Modern, big rooms. Lovely marble bathroom. Breakfast was also very nice and fresh. Want to come back already.
This was hands down the best wine tasting dinner we've ever had.Restaurant Manager Mari made us all feel welcome,She was super knowledgeable and was excellent at teaching us about wine descriptions. The whole experience was an absolute joy. The wine was delicious, food pairings were delightful and the conversation was fantastic.A great introduction course.Very nice management. We're recommending this experience to everyone we meet, and will definitely be returning in the future.
My waiter team was exceptionally friendly and thankfully not too much in the:”where you from what are you doing in here?????” way friendly. Just normal. What I prefer and that was that. No exceptional dinner experiences but really exactly as I would expect it and maybe a bit better but not super special. But really really solid. You can really good food with high quality meat but ghetto prices I have been served by Nano Or nunu Or nanto Pretty and super fast waitress who was not bothering me. Like... you know... just being a bit too motivated I can't stand that. They were great. Yihaaaaaaaaaa
Our family stayed there for 4 nights in November. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Hotel staff is very polite. They assisted us many times in different situations. Rooftop restaurant has a best views of Kutaisi city center. They serve very good food there. My advice is to order green salad, duck soup and cheese plate. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time.
Stayed on a number of occasions during November 18. In total four rooms. Modern hotel (appears recently renovated). The rooms are compact but comfortable; and everything works fine including the hotel wifi. There is no iron or board in the room. Breakfast if ok with the usual spread of buffet options. The hot items don't appear to be refreshed often - if at all - and can look pretty sad. Coffee machine for guest use is poor and you'd be better asking the hostess to knock you something up on her machine. The young front desk staff and breakfast staff are all lovely and very willing if help is needed with anything. All had good English and all were a credit to the hotel. The hotel is close to town and a short walk to all amenities. However, there are a few things which guests will need to get their head around: - prices quoted (online - either hotel website or third party agents - and at front desk) are all in USD but yet the final charge is always in GEL. At booking you know what you are paying in USD but not in GEL and not - in my case - GBP. I could never get the three accurately reconciled although the discrepancy was only a few GBP, but never in my favour! -you'll have to get used to close scrutiny from hotel security. At check-in they'll appear and be standing alongside you. When asking a question at the front desk they'll appear and be standing alongside you. When checking-out they'll appear and be standing alongside you. You get the picture? And don't expect a smile! Guests for some reason appear to be a problem about to happen and the clumsy way of managing that concern is unnecessary and not always comfortable for guests. As an aside, on check-out I was always told 'we need to check your room first'. - the rooms have a tendency to get too hot for some reason. In November both the cooling and heating options of the air-con had been disabled. The only way to cool the room was to open the floor to ceiling windows, which obviously lets in all the noise and then over cools the room (at least in November!). So you close the window and the process starts over! - the hotel has a couple of onsite taxi drivers. You would be advised to agree the charge in advance with the front desk and ensure the driver is aware. To get to the airport a charge of 30 GEL will likely bee quoted. The WizzAir minibus which can be booked online and which is just as comfortable costs c4 GEL. When next in Kutaisi I'd probably stay here again given limited options; you just have to get used to its ways!!
Myself and my wife have just returned to England from our first trip to Georgia. We chose this hotel and we weren't disappointed! This is a fabulous hotel , well run and with great food and service from the breakfast to the roof top restaurant and bar. We tried the rooftop restaurant for lunch on our first day and we were served excellent food by excellent attentive staff. Stunning location to eat our first lunch in Georgia looking at snow capped mountains in 77 degrees of sunshine with a great view of the river and town ! Rooms are modern and clean , we were lucky enough to overlook the river and cable cars from our 5th floor room. The hotel reception staff organized our trip to the Prometheus Caves and our return back to the airport for us - and both trips very reasonably priced and spot on time! (Special Thanks to reception staff Lana & Zura, as nothing was to much trouble for them during our 4 night stay) In summary this is a fantastic hotel in a great location for the town center with excellent attentive staff and deserved of its title of ‘TripAdvisor no. 1 hotel' in Kutaisi.
Best Western – Georgia Review During the last week, I dined at (3) three different Best Western Hotels in Georgia (Tbilisi, Kutaisi & Sairme) and stayed the night at (2) of them (Kutaisi & Sairme). This review will be posted on all three hotel Trip Advisor pages as a means to cross-compare the hotel brand but VERY different hotels. Also, it's a nice forum for the BW Owners to understand where they stack up on the pecking order of things ---- CHECK-IN BW Tbilisi – N/A BW Kutaisi (5 / 5) – I booked on Hotels.com in order to get a slightly better rate but this also sometimes confuses the desk attendant. Zura & Zura (both named Zura) were extremely helpful and provided comprehensive check-in information. We knew the hotel amendies and BW Sairme (1 / 5) – Total check-in time (30 mins) because the desk attendant couldn't find the Hotels.com booking. I booked the same exact method in Kutaisi & Sairme – yet they were unable to figure it out. Training – training – training – I blame the owner 100%. Furthermore, their English was very average and they couldn't properly articulate what they wanted to say. No hotel information, no information really whatsoever. Then it gets better when they give us the wrong room. We booked a king sized bed but alias we were given two twins. We come back down and wait longer on the bed. Again I blame the manager here (not the attendant) for lack of training. Then it gets better when day #2 rolls around and our key wasn't working. I asked for a new key and the new desk attendant simply pulls a key out of the drawer and says “it's a universal key” and will work with your room. 1) You dont give a master key to a random guest so they can access other guests room (Major security issue) – 2) He didn't even align it with the system to register it with our room. I'm sure you already know what happened – I get to the room and surprise it doesn't work. Lastly, we utilized the pool nearby that isn't affliated with the hotel (we were never told otherwise) and it costs 20 GEL / person. We pay 40 GEL and use the pool. Afterwards the kind owner who had good integrity tells us that BW covers the pool fee and its free if we are staying at the hotel. Awesome news!!! But it would have been really nice to know that information yesterday when we checked in lol --- I would have given them at least a 2 / 5 but since they gave us a “master key” or at least he thought it was a master key that's a major no-no. #1anddone ROOM & ROOM SERVICE BW Tbilisi – N/A BW Kutaisi (4 / 5) – Great layout, solid mini-bar, nice shower, big bed. What else to say about the room. Oh yea – they provided with the miniature shampoo, soap etc. Ordered dinner one night and they had a separate direct line to the kitchen. Solid service / good food. Service (4/5) / Food (4/5). BW Sairme (3 / 5) – Small “king bed” no mini-bar, BIG terrace but only one chair, prison-style soap dispenser. We ordered dinner one night and the front desk was not prepared for our order. Firstly, I ordered once and was told they would call back to confirm the order. Never did. Called again and had to give my order to another person who spoke better English. No desert selection. Food (3/5) / Service (2/5) at least they could call me back rather than the guest having to take the initiative. DINING-IN BW Tbilisi (5 / 5) – I've been to this hotel (3) three times now for either coffee or lunch and both the food and service have been 5-stars. If I was to compare the three hotels, I would say that Tbilisi ranks #1 in service & food compared to the other two BWs. The hotel location is solid at UN Circle and they have a great back terrace area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in Tbilisi – specifically Vake area. I already had a few clients stay here and loved it. BW Kutaisi (4 / 5) – Solid service, they helped us find a meeting location. Great food and amazing views of the city. We noticed a lot of locals going there for dinner moreso than the actual guests. Its definitely indicative of a solid, local restaurant that can market to locals and guests alike. Food (3/5) / Service (4/5) BW Sairme (3 / 5) – Before I get into the dinner, a simple side note. The WC or bathrooms were extremely hard to find. You have to make it dummy-8-year-old proof whenever you install your signage in any public place. Ordered dinner here and overall average for both food and service. Food (3/5) / Service (3/5) Overall, I'm glad that we were able to try out all three hotels this past week and compared to BW in the US, the Georgian versions are far better. BW brand in the US isn't exactly commensurate with their Georgian brethren nor reputationally solid. So its refreshing to see BW doing big things for Georgia.
Arrived at 1am in the morning with a group of 6, a very quick and polite check in. Rooms are comfortable with all the standard amenities. Good selection at breakfast, hot and cold. The location is a 10 minute walk to downtown, it will be quicker when bridge in front of hotel is completed. Good size comfortable bed, fridge a bit noisy. I would say this is the best place to stay in Kutaisi. A good roof bar with a nice view, beer and wine at a good price , all very cheerful and happy . Everyone at the hotel spoke very good English
One night isn't enough to take a comprehensive view of an hotel but on the whole we were satisfied with our 15 hour stay in the recently built Best Western, located just to the west of the river, near a pedestrian bridge. It's about 1.5 km from the central square, so not as central as many of its competitors. The décor is bland contemporary and there's a rather 'squeezed' feeling everywhere. Our room was compact but well-equipped and everything worked. The breakfast offering was good but the room in which it's served is too small. WiFi was free and easy to use and the staff were pleasant.
I booked three rooms for two nights, using BW's own website. Due to changing travel plans I need to amend the booking to one night only. The hotel refuses to help, insisting that the booking can only be amended online. But BW's website doesn't provide that service - I can only cancel the whole booking (without penalty), which I don't want to do. The responses to repeated attempts to explain this to the reservations team at the hotel (Zura Lomtadze) have only resulted in increasingly curt and unhelpful responses. Why so difficult to make a simple amendment to a booking?
I am usually a Best Western fan; however, this BW(quite new, very clean and modern) was too small for the tourist market it serves. Large groups come in and over-run the hotel, causing incredible bottlenecks at breakfast in the tiny restaurant. The waitresses did their best but couldn't keep up. Coffee pots were empty when we had breakfast - you're not served at your table, thereby causing a bottleneck near the coffee pots. Our room was clean and modern; however, we were reminded of rooms in Japan, known to be tiny. The bathroom had one 15" towel bar to hang two large towels and no where to hang your washcloths (you must bring one from home if you use them). The counter surrounding the sink was miniscule and barely held our toiletries; fortunately, there was a shelf beneath the sink. The lighting was good; there is a safe, refrigerator and coffee/tea set-up. Unfortunately, there is no service elevator for luggage of large groups to be transported to the ground floor to be put on their bus; therefore, guests are kept waiting on the ground floor for at least 5-7 mins. to use to elevator. It is quicker to walk! One night was enough for us.
We checked in yesterday and was given a not so good room. After we complained, we were upgraded to a suite. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The suite was very spacious. However, it's only after we've settled in that we discovered that the housekeeping did a terrible job. There were lots of ants on the table and the sofa had food scraps on it. We did not call to change as it's only 1 night stay. In room wifi was so slow that we can hardly use it. Wifi in public area was pretty OK. Rooftop restaurant food was OK, service was so so. Location was good but the white bridge outside the hotel was closed for renovation so we had to make detour to cross the river into old town. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect, very good view of the bridge which directly connects you to the market, but unfortunately it is under construction now. Rooms superb, very spacious, like the interior in the room. breakfast very good. We were there for 2 nights had fun.
We were on a trekking holiday in Svaneti. We flew into Kutaisi and so it was our start point and end point for the holiday. It was a great choice. We arrived at the hotel at 1am and the check in was slick and friendly. At the end of the holiday, it was great to have a bit of luxury for the last night. The only disappointment was the roof top restaurant - maybe we chose the wrong things but some food was great and some wasn't. I think the restaurant is probably trying to be more than it had the capacity to deliver. It wasn't bad but just don't expect too much. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Would stay at this hotel again.
The check in was a breeze. The rooms are simple but good enough. The breakfast is limited but everything is so delicious. Kutaisi is a small town and the hotel is well located. However the bridge connecting the hotel to downtown is under construction so it takes around 10 minutes on foot to reach downtown-normally it would take 2 minutes only. And they have a beautiful roof top bar with good views of the city. The service is impeccable as well.
Do NOT book a room in this hotel....... We had a booking in this hotel and just a few hours before reaching the hotel we received an email saying that our booking had been cancelled. Then after half an hour we got through the reception and the person told us that the reason for cancellation was that the credit card through which we booked had expired. Even though my credit card was expiring six years later and we had just used it earlier in the morning. They said that they will call back after some time but they never even messaged. It was the WORST experience we ever had with any hotel in our whole life. Luckily we got a booking for the same night at HOTEL LILEO. PLEASE NEVER BOOK A ROOM IN THIS HOTEL AGAIN.....
My husband and I stayed here for three nights at the beginning of last week. The hotel is very comfortable, modern, clean and with fabulous food on the rooftop restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful, including Lana, Zura & Teo. I would thoroughly recommend.
We spent two very comfortable nights in this new hotel by the river in Kutaisi. Our room was small but well equipped, with a Juliette balcony allowing you to open the windows over a view of beautiful trees. It is located very conveniently for walking to local restaurants, and as it is on a small side street leading to a pedestrian bridge over the river, it is very quiet. We enjoyed the views over the town and river whilst having a drink on the roof terrace. Breakfast was very nice, with eggs to order if you wanted them.
This is a recently bulit hotel in a modern style. Nice rooms, nice breakfast, in the middle of the city. We had a lux room, which was really specious. I was only missing the fitness facilities. Would come back any time.
For a two-day trip to Kutaisi, stayed at this hotel. The location is away the main area of the city, where many of the other hotels are. But this was not a drawback since the city is not that large and it doesn't take long to get around. There is some construction on the hotel's street but there is easy access. The staff was very nice, especially the morning breakfast area crew. The main elevator had a problem during my time there, but the staff were very prompt to assist and bring guests up the service elevator. Rooms were clean and hotel was quiet.
The staff on the front desk are enthusiastic, charming and very helpful, but they are the only aspects of the hotel which are beyond the ordinary. The standard rooms are cramped, although the beds were very comfortable. Barely room to unpack properly. The cooked breakfast really is poor (apart from the fresh omelettes) the bacon and sausages were very unappetising: they ran out of most fruit 90m mins before the end of breakfast on our second morning. There is a nice rooftop restaurant and bar, but the piped music is obtrusive, while the food there is over-salted and disappointing. They need to try harder.
New and very reasonably priced. Clean and well-managed. Nice breakfast. But dining in the Grill (6th floor) was less than satisfactory. Lamb chops tough and waiters too anxious to move us on; could not really relax as they rushed to clear between courses. Next time in Kutaisi would have B&B at this hotel and dinner elsewhere
We just stayed for one night but experience is amazing. River view from hotel balcony is great . You can here the sound of flowing water . Roof top restaurant is best place to have beer with friends . Hotel staff is very good specially the roof top bar staff.
We stayed for two nights as a family and had a wonderful time. Room was spacious and clean, and staff was very friendly and helpful. On the second night we had dinner at the rooftop terrace which had amazing views of the city and great food. Special thanks to Giorgi and Lika who served us at the restaurant!
This is possibly the best hotel in Kutaisi and very well positioned across the river from the old town via the White Bridge - which was closed for maintenance. The hotel also needs maintenance. The lift/elevator failed when we were inside it locking us in without light. This is probably because of a security system that requires the use of a room card. The basin stopper was jammed so that you could not fill it. Neither was fixed during our stay nor was there any attempt to do so. However this is frankly typical of Georgia except in selected private establishments. The hotel is inexpensive by west european standards and you can open the windows though you cannot turn off the air-conditioning. It is cheaper at weekends. The beds are large enough for four but that leaves little room to sit except on the bed. There is nowhere to place a large case. Staff does not speak adequate english, so checking-in is a long and complex process. There does not seem to be a manager, although someone rushes forward to try to force you take the lift/elevator when you are trying to use the back stairs. The rooftop restaurant has good views and an external bar area which serves drinks whilst you sit in sofas and large arm-chairs. It is very pleasant when the sun is out. But it quickly becomes cold when the sun drops below the mountain. The staff apart from one lady do not care for customers an leave all the doors open whenever they exit to the bar. As the restaurant is entirely glass you soon become cold. You have a very long wait as the coach parties of Germans dine and breakfast very early. Once they get to the dowstair breakfast buffet, you cannot get in there, even if you should want to. Some of the women are helpful, but the male waiters are idle. The food is Ok and fairly priced but tends towards pizza/pasta rather than the excellent georgian food that you can find in the small town centre. Kutaisi is nicer than Tbilisi. It offers the same mix of Orthodox churches, monasteries, botanical gardens and cable cars to amusement parks. But the weather is better and there is far less traffic. It is afe to walk the streets here. There are many stray dogs who approach tourists for food. One brought his entire pack of five from the restaurant to sleep outside the Best Western. where the staff also fed them. Georgians other than priests are not unkind to dogs, but they have had such a tough life from Russian colonialism that they have little generosity toi spare for dogs. When we solicited help at the Kutaisi airport - miles from any hotel or fountain for water - for a starving puppy, we were met with boot faces. Still that is Goergia - take it or leave it. It will help if you can speak even a little Russian, since Georgian words are entirely different from all other languages, except for a few Turkish food names.
Located in a convenient location, the hotel is great base to discover the area around Kutaisi. Very nice terrace view, which looks over the river and Bagrat Cathedral can just be seen from here. A very short walk to the Colchis fountain and restaurants.
This hotel has a small front desk, small elevators and small rooms where one can barely unpack from a regular size suit case. Ideal for overnight business trips The breakfast menu is limited What makes up for everything is the fact thathe location could not be better - it is where everything is happening in Kutasi. A room on a high floor is preferred
It is excellent hotel with great location almost on the river side. It is in walking distance to center and offers a good view from the rooms. Hotel personnel is very attentive and will provide you check-in on ease! Rooms are nicely decorated (rather many items and some squared seating elements are not needed), but other than that, good! Sleep quality was also great and can't complain! Very good cleanliness! Spacious bathroom... I also would recommend to go for the breakfast! Great coffee to start your day, good choice of various food , local and more traditional - international items to try.
My firs trip to Kutaisi was made all the better, because of my experience with the Best Western Kutaisi Hotel.Location is very beautiful. The rooftop terrace also. The staff were most kind and helpful to me in every way possible. I would like to express my special gratitude to the waitress Mari. She was amazing, very friendly, charming and balanced. She helped me with setting up tours, directions, recommendations on dining and helped me with all my questions and requests. The Hotel is a good value and i will surely stay here ,on my next visit to Kutaisi. Thank you Mari and Thank you Best Western Kutaisi.
As the name goes it is a very good hotel. It is central and next to the river. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean. A mini bar and the usual amenities were there. The roof top terrace affords a good view and is great for a drink. Breakfast was substantial. Highly recommended.
An excellent hotel which is highly recommended if planning a trip to Kutaisi. Location is right next to the White Bridge , rooms are clean with comfortable beds though a bit on the smaller side .Friendly and helpful staff , excellent but limited breakfast spread , perfect for a short stay / business trip. Good restaurants and bars close by with city center within walking distance. For travelling to other tourist attractions taxis are a must . The roof top bar has good views and serves well made local appetizers . A special mention here of Lika ( who was our steward ) for her charming and welcoming smile , attitude and helpful nature. Lika truly epitomizes" service with a smile"
The hotel is located in the city centre at the end of the famous White Bridge. The employees are very friendly and informative. Breakfast is acceptable. In comparison with the same type of hotels in the capital Tbilisi, this hotel is definitely 20 to 25 Euro per night overpriced, offering very small rooms. Given the size of the rooms, it's strange that the interior designer decided for a King Size bed (200x200 cm), an oversized stool for the work desk and a giant waste basket in the bathroom. I was alone but with two people this room would have a constant traffic jam. Also the white metal construction, hanging in the bar/restaurant at the 6th floor, is a design failure. The lobby has contemporary furniture but is missing the cosy feeling, needed for hotel lobbies in these days.
During our tour of Georgia we wanted to visit the Prometheus caves and sleep over in Kutaisi. When I booked the hotel online I was a bit sceptical due to Kutaisi being rural. What a surprise! The hotel is neatly situated on the river, very clean, staff with excellent english and spacious rooms. The rooftop restaurant was the highlight. Food was very very good although a bit pricy. Stay nowhere else!
Our room was very clean and comfortable with a wonderful king size bed. The Terrace Bar gave excellent views over the city and Lika gave outstanding service. In fact all staff we friendly and helpful. The WiFi is excellent which is important. The centre of the city is just a few minutes walk away which makes the hotel even more desirable.
Went with my husband had a good time, we stayed on the 2nd floor. the staff were so friendly with a smile every time. the hotel is very modern, in a good location. the room was large, modern, big tv, bed double king size bed. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. both had the best sleep ever. Plenty of wardrobe space, with dressing gown, slippers, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. Good large shower with plenty of hot water and a good toilet with a good height which we both thought was so good. The breakfast was very good, we had fresh porridge made for us every morning, you can also order omelettes made to order. Had a good selection for breakfast, cereals, breads, toast, jams, cheeses, marmalade's, water, juice, coffees, teas, fruit, nuts, and vegetables. A good selection to please everyone. the roof top terrace was amazing, having drinks and relaxing in the comfortable chairs. Lika was such a nice and friendly waitress, We did not have dinner at the hotel as we like going out to try different restaurants. We cannot fault this hotel. It is one of the best we have stayed in a very long time, such good value for money and such nice and friendly staff. Well worth every penny we have paid. Cannot wait to come again. Everything was 100%. You must stay here, you will not be disappointed!!
It's a very good hotel in a central position of the city. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Hotel staff very gentle and helpful. I appreciate the restaurant on the terrace. Good food and very nice service by Lika.
The room was clean and nice. The bathroom was really modern. We could see the river from our room's window. The roof top restaurant got great food and the restaurant manager was very nice. Breakfast was excellent and a lot of choices.
We stayed only one night. Decent room & Comfortable stay. Did not have dinner at the rooftop restaurant as we had outside the Hotel, but enjoyed the breakfast with better varieties, at least better than the other hotels around in Tbilisi.
Yeaaaaahh, everything this hotel was great!!!I only got breakfast.it was so good with this price. anddddddd a girl “Mari” with a very kind heart. One who loves dogs almost as much as she loves to laugh. She's always carrying around a smile. She is suuuppppeeerr cool . Your “Mari” is strong, funny, cheerful, loving, and kind. Love all the Maris,But your Mari is the best! omg, maybe i'm inlove with her.Today find this review card in my jacket, please say hallo to my little girl. Miss Georgia and Kutaisi.
Clean modern hotel with helpful friendly staff and great views as well as top quality food in the rooftop restaurant at reasonable prices. Breakfasts are slightly lower than the standard you would expect at top international hotels but staff do their best to keep customers happy. Reception team are top class and helped sort out our travel problems.
We came many times for coffee and dinner to this restaurant during our stay in Kutaisi. We really enjoyed our meal and the view on the terrace. We would like to say a big thank you to Lika for the attentive and personal service! She was very pleasant and made us feel welcome! We highly recommend this place!
We came on our last evening just for a drink on the rooftop terrace but liked it so much we stayed for dinner! We enjoyed the amazing views, the music and drinks. Lika has given us an amazing service and made our visit very special. After the drinks which we enjoyed outside, we had dinner inside the beautifully designed restaurant and the food was up to a very high standard. The restaurant manager was very kind and attentive and made our visit very special!
This is a great hotel with extremely helpful staff, a great location and a wonderful view from the bar and restaurant on the top floor. We couldn't have wished for anywhere better. One thing was a bit strange in that we stayed here two separate nights and on both occasions we had to ask for shower gel (even though body lotion and conditioner were there). However that was no problem - it appeared as soon as we asked for it :-)
Soon as we walked in, guest relations couldn't locate our reservations and we were told there is NO WATER! we had to wait for 5 hours without water and to make things worse, signature restaurant of this hotel offered us inedible food with excess SALT! when we complained they apologize and charged us for the whole meal! that's not it, we didn't have water in the morning and we had to scream our heads off over the phone since the security guard doesn't understand english, again we waited for water for 30 minutes. no apology nor compensation offered for this worst experience as a traveller
I stayed for one night at the BW Kutaisi in April 2018. The double room was clean and comfortably furnished and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated and also very clean. The hotel has an excellent location, right next to a bridge over the river; on the other side, 2 minutes walk away, are several city parks, nice caffes and the main boulevard. Service at the BW was good, although the staff tended to have a limited command of English. That said, it was possible to communicate and the staff were uniformly kind and willing to help. ON the negative side, the frigobar in the room was very hot - it simply was not functioning and it did not seem possible to turn it on, despite my very thorough attempts to do so. Furthermore, breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Still, all in all, an excellent choice for Kutaisi. I would stay again, without a doubt.
Thank you, especially to Lila in the rooftop restaurant for making me feel so welcome and valued, even remembering my name. Anna, at reception, arranged my transfer from Kutaisi airport to the hotel, for 45GEL = bargain! The driver was there to meet me from the 02.50 flight from Luton and drove safely to the hotel. The hotel is right next to the White Bridge, so near to shops and the cable car up to the sleepy little amusement park. Everything is very reasonably-priced. Lila was almost apologetic that I happened to choose a wine that cost 12GEL a glass. There were far cheaper! I'd missed breakfast so had coffee and tiramisu on the rooftop - a lovely treat. The ground floor cafe where breakfast is served is very average but the upstairs restaurant is good and has great views. Good-sized room, clean and well-equipped.
We stayed 3 nights having this hotel as our base, the hotel is located right at the edge of the "white bridge" just at the edge of the old town, so its perfect in that sense. The hotel is modern and clean with very attentive staff. We were very lucky to get room 202 (ask for it when you check in) as it had a dressing room, living room, dual aspect patio doors and a fabulous bathroom with huge walk in shower. The hotel also has a lovely roof terrace for drinks (apart double price of local restaurants but still cheap, so under £2 for a large beer) and a restaurant, again compared to other restaurants was expensive but the food and ambience were great. We had a lovely meal with wine for under £30. The hotel also arranged a car back to the airport for us for circa £9 which was good value. There is not a great deal to do it Kutaisi although its charming, it is great to explore other sites like the caves and canyons - we went to tourist info and spoke to a lady call Ana (she was simply brilliant) and she arranged a driver for the whole day for us taking us to the 2 canyons and 2 caves - this cost 100 gel (circa £30) and well worth it. Next door to the hotel is the white stones restaurant on the river, good food, cheap and great views so would recommend If you are planning on staying in Kutaisi, I know compared to other hotels this is expensive, but it is more than worth it - for me its the only place to stay.
Didn't stay here but visited the rooftop bar. Although the ambience and location are good if it is warm, I had the worst Georgian food Ive tried during my trip and a very expensive and questionable aperol spritz. It tasted like orange juice from concentrate with soda water and was very cloudy. I would recommend eating and drinking elsewhere for a better and cheaper experience.
Having experienced the stay at Radisson Blu in Tbilisi and Rooms in Kazbegi, stepping into this hotel honestly is an anti climax. The room is small but clean, bathroom is decent. The aircon is not adjustable though it's rather warm. So I open the balcony door instead. That means it's really noisy I'm just staying for one night so no complaints. But if you are staying for a few nights, there's not much facility here
On first glance, Best Western Kutaisi is arguably already one of the best available in Kutaisi, given the limited choice available. Without a doubt, I think Best Western meets the required international standard. Modern rooms, very well-kept and clean. Breakfast is good. Service staffs certainly do their job well. My only minor comment is that their lead-in category room seems a little smaller than most other international hotels. But for a good night's sleep, this certainly meets the mark for a value-for-money option.
Our room was clean and views were lovely. Unfortunately, we stayed here the same night a football team stayed and they were up literally all night running in the hallways slamming doors and shouting. We called the front desk several times but there was not much they could do. Neither of us slept much because of the noise. The bed was comfortable and we did have WiFi, which helped the night pass more quickly. We wanted to eat at the hotel restaurant because it is one of the few truely non smoking places in town, however, we were told that he football team had a reservation two hours later that evening and they were unable to let us dine. The hotel has a great location in downtown and honestly it was fine I think we would have enjoyed it more if we had not been there the same time as that football team.
Hotel rooms are comfortable with good beds & linens. They have a cozy breakfast room with friendly staff. It's an easy walk across the river to downtown with interesting shops, great food markets and cafes.
Very nice hotel and location I liked it so much With great service especially miss Natia I liked the restaurant as well i and i am coming back The price is responsible and deserve it I believe the best location in kutaisi
The hotel has a great location and a very nice view of the old town. The rooms are excellent, very modern, new and very clean. Also the rooftop bar is great with an overlook to the city and the river. Great place to stay if you are visiting Kutaisi.
We stayed in the BW for four nights and the hotel fully met our expectations. It was clean, modern and had reliable, fast WiFi. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The hotel is well located, close to the old town and the cable car although there's not much in Kutaisi to see or do. A good hotel at a great price - what's not to like?
Good size, comfortable rooms with a high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast had something for everyone, including omelettes made to order. We ate in 'Cafe Tizziani' every evening during our stay and would highly recommend the pasta dishes. However, for me personally what stood out about our visit was the staff. Each and every member of staff that we encountered was polite, friendly and genuinely looked happy to be at work, which was a breath of fresh air and really gave this hotel an edge. I would definitely recommend it and would return in a heartbeat.
Well organized room with all amenities, a little on the small side because of a very large bed and hassoks that take up too much room. Adjusting heat is problematic...too hot unless the window is open. Staff is very good, with special recognition to Lika in the restaurant...Speaks good English in addition to Russian and Georgian...whatever you need. Good breakfast and a roof top restaurant that is pleasant and enjoys good views.
The hotel is located in a beautiful location. ..The rooms were quite comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good. But the restaurant that serves breakfast is quite small and has limited seating capacity, so please plan accordingly.
i loved the town its nice and warm. the hotel was clean and cosy..... also it has great view on the river its just near the tourist info center andnear the park. they breakfast is not too bad...and at night there is no housekeeping service...
Nice, modern, clean, but a bit small rooms. Excellent bed. Average breakfast. Staff were trying really hard to impress, but unfortunately it could be the training was not up to standard. Over all, nice place for one night's sleep. Last advise: stay away from the roof top restaurant. The service and the food we got was really poor.
Thanks to Natia at the front desk. Super helpful and so cheerful. She got us the best room in the hotel with a nice view of the river. Room 408. And the river looked so different from day to day with more water passing through. It's a small hotel but has everything packed into it. Tight breakfast but just the right stuff. Superb rooftop place. Block a table early on else you will miss the outdoor seating. The young manager at the rooftop also was very helpful and got us a nice table. Keep it up, folks.
We stayed at Best western Kutaisi. The room and the whole place is nicely designed, clean and welcoming. But to be honest this took us by surprise and completely off guard when we ordered dinner for our 2 kids. We ordered 2 hamburgers, which looked appetizing. But OMG, 2 hours later we learnt they were a disaster(!!!) the kids spent the night in the toilet, vomiting their soul. It was a nightmare and so disappointing especially as this was the only case of unsafe food in the whole 12 days in Georgia and in the least expected place. Stay away from the hotel restaurant!!
Stayed three nights at this hotel to explore the sites in the region. Hotel is new, clean and very comfortable. We were three people so took a non-smoking suite. Beds were comfortable, rooms spotless, staff was extremely helpful. Food in rooftop restaurant was excellent and it has a great location.
We used BW Kutaisi for a couple of nights as a base to explore the natural wonders of the area. I wished we stayed more at this modern and welcoming hotel. The bed (king size) was huge and very comfortable and the rooftop restaurant was very very good.
hotel is very good location very good sttaf reception is helping our client they are profishinal i meet Natia is realy help us and give us more information about city and our group was 12 Rooms are very happy
This hotel opened in April 2017 and lives up to international standards. Great air conditioning and fantastic shower. Restaurant on top floor and breakfast on ground floor are a little cramped for a group of 6. Excellent dinner with desserts to die for. Receptionist helped us to room with bags. Rooms are not large but functional. French windows can be opened fully which is nice. Town main square is 5 min walk away. Lovely ladies at reception.
A nice restful evening was provided by Best Western Kutaisi. Warm greetings from the staff, a comfortable room, two nice meals, and a great view of the Bagrati Cathedral were enjoyed by my wife and me. I can easily say this is the best Best Western we have ever stayed at, and felt more like a European boutique hotel. Well done. I will return.
Impeccably friendly and attentive staff, good English, clean and comfortable rooms. We even got upgraded to a suite for our last two days, free of charge! A great experience, and worth the extra money to have a strong base of operations for our explorations in beautiful Georgia. Really the only hotel worth trying in Kutaisi, thank you Best Western for a wonderful holiday.
A great hotel with fantastic service! Location is excellent! And on our next visit to Kutaisi we will stay here for sure! Georgia is a beautiful country and the people are amazing. The service in this hotel reflects just that!
I spent one night here in my way to Batumi. The room was nice and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was served on terrace and was ok, but had limited choices. There were no bell service so I had to carry the luggage by myself!
Arriving late in Kutaisi earlier this month, we were glad to have chosen the Best Western as we felt very welcome and were checked in quickly so we could wash the road travel and hiking off of us quickly and with glorious hot water. The hotel is located in the old town by the river and the rooftop terrace with the view over the city is wonderful. The staff were all very professional, helpful and there was always someone around with some English but we still tried out our Georgian which got us a strange look at one point so we switched it up haha. The rooms were modern, clean and quiet, the included breakfast was quite good for an included breakfast and even though the rate was a bit higher than we could have had at another hotel, we felt it was worth the extra to get the better comfort and service. Overall an excellent stay and we would stay here again.
You would be hard pressed to find a better location in Kutaisi and the best views to be had are at the rooftop restaurant and bar. The hotel is nicely appointed, comfortable bed and showers. Suite has a pull out sofa and a door separating that space from the master bedroom making it ideal for families. The complimentary breakfast was very good. All that said, it is the service where this hotel really stands out. We had a bit of a complicated reservation (switching rooms twice) and the front desk made it smooth on our end. Also the breakfast staff and cleaning staff are top notch - in constant motion to provide a first rate customer experience. You feel the pride in their attention to detail and responsiveness. It is a relatively new building so there are glitches but the staff was always quick to respond when we pointed those out.
The hotel is located in the best area of Kutaisi, has views on the main sights of the city and really nice design - modern with some Georgian features. The rooftop terrace bar is a great place to relax after a busy day and have some tasty food :) The stuff is very friendly. Excellent hotel, very cozy and nice, where you will feel like home. Highly recommend!
The hotel is located in a great place near the river with an excellent view to the aerial. Rooms were a bit small but were just enough to fit us. Beds are super comfortable, breakfast was great. They have a rooftop restaurant with great views.
The rooftop restaurant at the Best Western Kutaisy is a lovely contemporary place with one of the best view over the city. The food is very good Eauropean and Georgian and very nicely presented. We highly recommend this restaurant!
This is a new hotel, very close to city center, very clean & nice rooms, breakfast was free with the room & was good, had good Georgian & other choices. Good free WiFi.You can walk to the main square, there are nice cafes & restaurant s & shops within walking distance.
We landed late at night into Kutasisi airport and were so happy to find this nice modern hotel to stay in. We asked for a quiet room and got just that! Beds were comfortable and hotel was new. The next morning we were served a wonderful breakfast buffet! Best breakfast of our week long trip!! Great coffee!
A newly opened hotel, conveniently located a few meters from a pedestrian bridge leading to the old quarters of Kutaisi. Rooms were cosy and well equipped, with a practical bathroom. Breakfast was average. Friendly staff.
Loved the hotel! So much more than i expected! :D beautiful design, comfortable bed, fresh breakfast, amazing terrace, central location. Hotel is in the middle of renovated Kutaisi and next to the most popular attraction in the city (white bridge). Price is also very acceptable. Best hotel in the region <3
A modern, clean, stylish, welcoming and friendly hotel with a super location, right at the famous Kutaisi White Bridge. The location is strategically excellent for site visits and business meetings. Love your lightnings!
Simply amazing! Stylish hotel perfectly located in a very heart of the city, rooms are cosy, extremely clean and comfortable with high speed of internet, breakfast was better than expected, loved Rooftop terrace restaurant with delicious Georgian dishes and stunning views over the city. Staff is friendly and always smiling, their very special touch makes a stay outstanding. Experience is priceless! I will definitely return back!
It looks like the best and pretty expensive (comparing other hotels) hotel in Kutaisi with nice service and accommodation. Good quality breakfast with decent variety. There is a restaurant with Kutaisi view on the top.
Brand New, modern and luxurious hotel in the second largest city in Georgia. Very clean and the rooms have all the necessary amenities and products. The beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is not very rich and does not have many options but the food is generally good. You must enjoy a coffee or a cocktail on the roof bar with breathtaking views.
Fantastic hotel with a wonderful staff, genuinely friendly, attentive, welcoming and very helpful! Very stylish, the rooms are clean and modern. Also the hotel is in a great location with an amazing view! Highly recommended!
I'd highly recommend everyone this hotel in Kutaisi. I have been to other hotels in the city and this hotel stands out, by far. I'd highlight the location which is right in the center of this city. Staff are very kind and helpful but, Most of all i absolutely loved the roof top lounge where you can eat, relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
