DO NOT STAY HERE. The room I stayed in had bed bugs! There appeared to be a new mattress, that I am assuming they used to mask the bed bug problem they have but bed bugs live on the headboard and box springs. The room smelled on mildew and there were stains all over the walls and head board. I only stayed because there were no other available hotels due to power outages and the hurricane.
This hotel is under new ownership per locals. I had reservations but when I checked in and saw room it was extremely dated and looked dirty. Asked to change rooms but that was just as bad. Got refund and went to Hampton Inn 1 mi away and so glad I did. Huge difference. I've stayed at many Best Western hotels but this one is not up to par at all.
The room was overpriced. Bathroom exhaust vent filthy, torn tattered shower curtain, Loud AC, shower head so low you had to scrunch under it and the carpet did not look real clean. Bathroom door beat-up, missing wood. Clean Bed, and breakfast area.
This is the third time and possibly last time I stay at this hotel. Its location is perfect and the staff is nice. But the shower was covered in black mold. The bottom 5 inches of the shower curtain inside the shower was black with mold. The grout in the shower was covered in black mold. I thought I was being punked. I could post photos but I am not into shaming establishments since most of my reviews are positive. The mattress creaked and the room smelled of mold and the bed comforter smelled musty. There were 2 giant water stains on the ceiling too. If the hotel used Tilex or had a clean shower then it would be a fairly nice place to stay.
Room smelled like mold, white comforter had big yellow stains. Stained ceiling and stained drapes. No pullout couch in suite area- just 2 sitting chairs. 1 old washer and dryer- no timer.. people do not know when to change out laundry. Burning sinuses, tightness in chest, difficulty breathing and nausea feeling induced while staying at this filthy and disgusting hotel. Seek other options.. wish we did!
Arrived to discover that only a duvet cover is provided (no duvet inside it!!)!! The air-conditioner was EXTREMELY LOUD, so you could either turn it off and get hot, or keep it going but up the temp. but you would get cold with no duvet to us.
A perfect stop on our summer travels. VERY clean rooms, quiet, great breakfast, Everything was in working order and the staff was very friendly. Very glad we stayed here
We have stayed here several times. Well maintained facility with friendly staff. Nice hot complimentary breakfast We really like the convenience of the Cracker Barrel fmrestaurant next door for dinner. My wife enjoys the nice antique shops nearby. We will stay there again.
We booked this on a last minute quick trip to find somewhere new and fun for the day. The initial quote was from BW for $198.00 per nite. We looked and found it for $155.00 per nite on another site. Check in was a breeze, and the front desk staff, very nice and attentive. On the inside and lobby the hotel looks well done. We also wanted to just sit by the pool for a bit and unwind and have a drink, but the pool was closed despite it being 80 plus degrees. Our room was another story. We didn't look too close since we checked in and ventured back out. But later...There was mold all over the shower, the shower curtain was ripped many times. The door frame and door area inside the bathroom was just filthy. The light stand on the side of the bed, looked to not be dusted or cleaned for many stays. Any hotel that is a nation chain needs to do better. The shower head was also way too low. I am only 5 foot 4 and I had to duck to get water on me, I cannot imagine how anyone taller would be able to take a shower in there. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine taking off. We turned it off, but it became way to hot in the room to sleep. On a good note, they have a great breakfast. The area is clean and they keep it very well stocked- Many good choices for everyone. This was a one nite stay, so it was tolerable, but more than one night, I would have had to check out and find something else.
Broken security doors, broken lamps, mildewed bathroom, terrible sheets that didn't fit the mattress, mediocre breakfast, broken ice machine...we would've left immediately if we hadn't been exhausted. Avoid!!!
Just stopped in for an evening, a quick getaway to celebrate. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was very pleased breakfast had great choices and was well kept and was delicious.
Very nice Clean, facility. Well managed breakfast bar with hot food. Convenient to restaurants and the highway.we have stayed here multiple times on our way between Ohio and our home in North Carolina.we are Best Western points members which makes occasional stays free.
Stayed here on a Tuesday night right after the holidays. The hotel was very convenient to the highway. The room was comfortable and smelled very clean. Irving at the front t desk was helpful and gracious... what more could we have asked for ??
Stayed here last week going to sisters in Charleston Sc..now going home this is out halfway point..the ice maker did not work last week..and ITS STILL NOT WORKING!..Front desk lady has attitude..our room was not ready at 3 pm..never said any thing about breakfast.. UNREAL!..$3 Dollars to wash your clothes..$3 Dollars to dry...Holy heck!..I guess I'm putting the local owner's kid through college!..NO MORE!..and I'm a member..screw this dump..Hampton is across highway!
We were happy to stay here on our way to Charleston Sc. This is our half way rest stop for now on!.we stayed on the other side of highway at another well know motel and it has a musty smell so thats now history...very close actually walking distance to cracker barrel..huge fuel station across from hotel.. to get all your needs at great gas prices..then off ya go to your destination!
Switched rooms upon checkout due to nonfunctional toilet and closet door falling down. Second room had broken toilet flush handle, heat that wouldn't shut off and after asking each afternoon, still no new towels.
My husband and I go to this hotel every year and stay 4 days for the 100 mile yard sale and 3 days coming back home to Florida. Tammy is very friendly and is so helpful if I have any questions. She is very polite with everyone and it's nice to see her and the same people there when we go back. Noah is also very friendly and enjoyable to talk with. I can't complain about anyone there, they are all so nice and friendly. It feels like home away from home. I look forward to next year, thank you all.
I chose to drive an hour further past Wytheville VA as I prefer to stay in a Best Western "Plus". How in Gods name did this hotel achieve a Best Western "Plus" brand? This is one doesn't even deserve the standard Best Western brand. This is the second time I have been duped by the best Western Brand. I was travelling with a service dog toy poodle, papers in hand. I booked a king size bed/room. The lady at check in stated I could not have this room with my dog. She said they had a problem once with a guest who stayed in a room and had an allergic reaction and they assumed it was from a pet that styed prior. She said she would have to move me to a room with 2 queens in a different area for pets and would not adjust the price. I was too tired to argue. 1) This is a service animal and by law, can stay with me in ANY room I choose. 2) This is a toy poodle which is hypoallergenic. 3) This is a crappy hotel of which I have photos to share. The paint on the interior was bubbling and ready to peel. I walked barefoot on the carpet and didn't notice how dirty the carpet was until my feet got wet in the bathroom and left dirty foot prints behind. I believe once I have used my points, I will be moving along to Hilton Honors.
When we arrived at Best Western, the desk attendant was not very attentive to our requests. We asked about dining options, places to visit, etc. The desk attendant was not very knowledgeable. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job with tending to our room. The physical condition of the room was fair. Not enough receptacles for electronic devises, light in the bathroom needed to be replaced and the fan in the bathroom did not operate.
I was put on hold for 39 minutes and forgot about while I could hear every other customer's private and what is supposed to be secure information given. Upon arrival I showed the woman at the desk that I was still on the line with her. She went on to tell me that she makes lots of stupid mistakes and went on complaining about her job. The room had lots of mold/mildew on the ceiling of the shower as well as a bunch of peeling paint. There was a big tear in the curtain that was there to keep the light out. I reached out to the hotel and they simply gave me a tiny discount on the stay. Please do yourself a favor and do NOT stay here!
No room cleaning on multi night stay. No towel change. Had to go back to office at 9:30 pm to get clean towels. Shower drain slow slow. Toilet had mold growing in it. Customer service skills lacking when problems presented.
This hotel was very conveniently located off the interstate exit, check in was easy (did not have a prior reservation), the staff were helpful, the room was clean, breakfast room was decorated for Easter and the food was good. Thank you!
We stopped here on a trip home from Florida. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good (as far as hotel breakfasts go) - and they kept it stocked right up until the end of the breakfast serving hour. It was a great break from the travel, and probably our best hotel stop on this trip. I would definitely recommend it.
I was really in need a good night rest and all the hotels were full. They has available rooms and treated me very well checking in and out. Breakfast was not great. The TV, Shower water pressure, bed and fridge were all good.
We needed an unexpected one-night stay. The manager and front desk staff were extremely helpful and accommodating during check in. Every staff member we met was very friendly. Room was fine. Breakfast had the standard cold and warm food with enough options to choose from.
This hotel is in a nice, quiet location. It is right next door to a Cracker Barrel. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Very easy on/off to the interstate. Breakfast was nice, they even had biscuits and gravy. I I would definitely stay here again.
We had 2 rooms for family travel with 5 people and a small dog. Both rooms smelled damp and musty and needed more ventilation. We also had trouble booking on their BW website. I have been staying there for several years but the last 2 visits seemed to be going down hill.
Weekend Anniversary trip the stay was great! Staff was friendly and helpful, information on locate restaurant, was an excellent location to go over to Winston Salem, up to Mt Airy, and all around Yadkin Valley!
Older but excellent property with large comfortable rooms. Incredibly easy access off Interstate 77. Nice breakfast service included. Cracker Barrel right next door is a convenient choice for dinners.
Last minute stay at this hotel after a long day of driving back home from Fl. & reading online reviews about hotels in this area. Settled on this place and found it to be a good choice plus close to interstate.
I've been a long time user of Best Western whenever we've traveled. This hotel was perfect as far as accessibility to highways and with a Cracker Barrel right next doo! We were greeted by the receptionist at the front desk cordially. She gave us all the information we needed. We were not given any "reward" as a "platinum" member which was a little unusual. I looked around at the lobby and noticed what I thought was an American flag wrapped around the base of what looked like a Christmas tree. As a veteran, I don't like it! After our stay, I wrote to the hotel and the GM responded and apologized for this. I had made a second reservation in the same hotel for our return trip and was pleased to see the situation had been eliminated. The breakfast area was well marked and the food was very good. I would stay there again should my travels take me in the general area.
Couldn't get passed the ceiling with leaking spots & peeling paint. Even the room door has peeling paint. The bathroom tub would not drain so while you shower you stand in water! It also needs fresh caulking. One of the worst nights of sleep I've had on the road. Lumpy pillows and uncomfortable bed. The mattress seemed new but it was lumpy. They had just a mattress pad on the bed instead of a cover. That doesn't seem safe from people leaving bugs behind. Housekeeping needs to vacuum near bed, food and crumbs. The rest of the property seems to be taken care of. Nice staff & good breakfast. They have a variety of hot and cold items for breakfast. I had an egg and cheese biscuit and my husband a loaded waffle.
We stopped here on our way home to Florida. Easy on/off to the highway. We walked across the road to Cracker Barrel. BP gas station across the street had the cheapest gas on our trip. Pool was very nice. Breakfast was not exceptional but good enough to start the day.
Very nice, clean and modern hotel, with comfortable bed and pillows. Front desk staff and room services staff were very professional and accommodating. Excellent job, Best Western Plus! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
Stayed here the night of 7/4/22. Clean hotel with friendly staff. The free breakfast was 15 minutes late, the juice machine wasn't working, and they had no water available to purchase or give away complimentary. Lots of other guests were complaining.
We found this hotel as we were looking for one close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and boy are we lucky! The staff there were incredible! They night staff found us a pet friendly room (last one - phew), and were so helpful with finding a place to eat, getting extra towels, etc. The manager in the morning was INCREDIBLE! She even drew me a map to help me get to the Blue Ridge Parkway! And gave me her phone number in case I got lost! Talk about above and beyond service! The room was great and so was breakfast. I'm so glad I found this hotel!
I wasnt sure how to rate this hotel honestly. Its out dated for sure. There was a mix up with keys and my credit card was charged for a different room when i had paid cash. Jankin resolved my issue immediately. Thank your very much. Patty and the gentlement working with her were very nice. And my family also appreciated bobs help. Thanks again to all.
Very clean and modern. Wonderful options for breakfast. Big clean rooms. Definitely will stay here again. Would recommend this to anyone who needs a hotel on this area. Our next trip to Florida we will use this hotel again.
Have stayed here numerous times on our overnite to our place in Fl. It's convenient to the interstate, great staff and clean. Beds are wonderful although the room air conditioners could use updating. They are very noisy. Would've given it a 5 but the internet connection wouldn't work, disappointing. Also would like to have a coffee available in the eating area for us folks that get up in the wee hours, the coffee in the room is not that great.
Finishes in he room were awful. Seemed like they updated one wall and the headboards for the photos but the bathrooms were pretty bad. Pillows were the worst I have EVER slept on. They were so lumpy. Gave me a headache and the worst sleep of my life. Do not recommend staying here, especially for the price. Should be $50/night.
Easy on off exit I 81. Friendly staff/ Pet friendly. Only downside was that breakfast offerings were not as varied as other BW's. Cracker Barrel located just across parking lot with other fast foods nearby.
Check-in was quick and easy. Bathroom floor was not cleaned well. Card reader for guest room door was a little sensitive to use. Dog odor in room. Breakfast was very limited, did not see an attendant in area while I was eating. Common areas were very clean.
Drive a little further up the road for something hopefully cleaner. Patty on the front desk was lovely but she couldn't do anything to help. It was 10 at night…no housekeeping so she came to the room with an old wet rag and wiped the seat. The room had layers and layers of dust and really old. We weren't expecting the Shangri La but I was expecting for 200 we could use the toilet. Honestly so dirty we chose not to use the shower before leaving. Best Western should be embarrassed. Patty was kind and welcoming…the breakfast attendant at 5 am was very helpful and kind as well. I know it is Covid and places are short staffed but urine on toilet seats is a non negotiable.
We regularly use this hotel on our way to and from our home in Florida. The staff is always super friendly and the rooms are usually in perfect order. It is also pet friendly for your fur babies. They do have grab and go breakfast in the mornings which is good.
Wonderful clean stay, and fur baby loved it too! Staff was very kind, hotel rooms very well equipped, clean and most importantly quiet. Beds were extremely comfortable too. Location was perfect too! Gas station right across the street, restaurants near by and easy on and off the high way. Highly recommend!
This was a great place to stay to offset a trip to Charlotte for football game. This hotel was an 1:15 out and was literally .5 miles or less from I77. It was 2 stories and had very nice rooms. Breakfast did the trick seeing we are in Covid times. Lots of choices to fill your stomach. There is also a cracker barrel right next door, if that's more your thing. Would definitely stay here again if paying too much for Charlotte city proper.
Property is located right off the Interstate and has plenty of lighted parking. It appeared that lots of young Spanish speaking men were more than temporarily occupying the wing we were in. They were quiet at night but at 6am there was a lot of loud talking and banter in the hallway, it was like a college dorm...luckily for us we were getting up. There was a large garbage receptacle in the hallway, just outside our room, and it was filled with "household" garbage. Grab and go breakfast was horrible. I mean come on, I stay at BW because they usually have breakfast for guests. I prefer eggs and waffles over cheese/peanut butter crackers. I understand when covid was at its peak this was the norm. But now, hotels are serving breakfast again, get with it guys...luckily for us there was a Cracker Barrel directly across the parking lot. So only because of luck, was this stay acceptable.
For a new hotel, the water pressure is horrendous. I've sweated harder. The hallway reeked of some kind of air freshener, overwhelming. The grab 'n go breakfast was better than most. No justifiable reason to keep the fitness center closed "due to COVID." Just another loss of an amenity for no reason.
Stayed 2 nights recently at this Best Western and had mixed feelings about the stay. The staff was amazing and very friendly and helpful. However, the property condition and sanitation was lacking. One thing in particular that stood out was the amount of trash that was constantly in the hall and in large trash bins. Seems no one ever collected or discarded trash properly. In addition, there were stains of some type on our shower curtain and pillow cases. This would be a nice stay option if basics were taken care of.
We were traveling from Asheville on our way to Winston-Salem and stayed here to do a tour of 4-5 wineries the next day. Great location to access the Yadkin Valley wine trail. Before our winery tour we stopped at the Jonesville Visitors Center just up the road from the hotel. They had a lot of information and a great map of the wineries in the area.
The staff are wonderful and the amenities are great. We are always accommodated and treated well here. They are willing to go the distance to ensure you have everything you need, even in the midst of the pandemic. We appreciate businesses that can be flexible to ensure your comfort.
My family recently stayed at this hotel while in the area for a dirt bike race. The staff was great from check-in to check-out. The hotel was clean and smelled fresh. You could tell the staff took pride in their work. I will stay at this hotel again if I'm ever in the area.
Requested handicap room with roll in shower, bench seat attached to wall NOT plastic seat in shower area. Before placing reservation, contacted hotel directly and assured they do have that style of bathroom. Reservation made online. Called directly to hotel 1 month prior to trip and assured again my reservation was style I wanted. Construction on route 77 made getting to hotel hard. Arrived to the BEST clerk ever at hotel - Haley. She advised their handicap room did not have the bench seat instead roll in the plastic seat. Viewed room finding NO handlebars around the toilet. The toilet was extremely low to the ground NOT the 17” seat you hope to find. NO handlebars!!! In a handicap room this is unacceptable. Haley was very professional and understanding. She found us lodging at another local hotel that had exactly what handicap spouse needed. Haley, you made our trip so much easier. I appreciate your kindness. Thank you! Best Western please update your handicap room to meet the ADA standards. NO excuse for no handlebars around the toilet.
The bedspread was covered with stains & the whole appearance was a little seedy. If we had another choice we would not have stayed here. This was definitely the worst Best Western we have ever stayed at.
We stopped here on our way from FL to VT. Room was clean, but could use some updates. Bed was comfy and it was quiet. Breakfast wasn't that great. Air conditioner was loud. Folks at the front desk were very nice.
i just arrived at this hotel and i went to take my shower, everything was fine until i went to lay down. after laying for a couple minutes there are two bugs crawling on the bed. the restroom is nasty, overall this is hands down the worst hotel i've ever stayed at. i do not recommend what so ever.
Stayed here two nights, using it as a base to visit Yadkin Valley wineries. It was clean and quiet, far enough away from I77. Room was well-equipped and bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was a bit loud, but that happens a lot in roadside hotels. Our only real disappointment was the alleged breakfast: dry packets of oatmeal and grits, bananas, and sugary pastries wrapped in cellophane. We have stayed at other hotels that have figured out how to provide a varied breakfast in recent months. Is the owner trying to save a buck or two?
We arrived about 7:30pm on a Saturday night after about 9 hours on the road. We were relieved to have a quick check-in, a clean room and a comfortable bed. The night was quiet allowing for a good night's sleep. Everything in the room was operable. Several amenities were not available due to the pandemic. But we were just looking for a good night's sleep and that's what we got.
Restaurant right across the parking lot, so it was convenient. But $121 is pricey. We have stayed at BW before that were just as nice and $30 less. And this was the AARP rate. No Continental breakfast but a grab bag was offered.
The hotel staff 10/10. The beds were comfy, the bath room was clean, could've used a new shower curtain but wasn't terrible. We stayed in a pet room so it had a slight smell but wasn't unbearable, after awhile you couldn't even notice it. With Covid they had grab and go breakfast foods but we're still accommodating.
We came into Jonesville very late as we could not find lodgings in Charlotte. There was ONE room left, a suite, and Heather gave us that room. We were so grateful. I cannot make a full judgement on any particulars of this property as my feeling of gratitude is all I can relay. We had a comfortable night's sleep and in the morning, Steve, very kindly made us fresh coffee for our breakfast. Considering that we were out after midnight, we felt the cost was just, especially for the size of the room. While it did not appear to be a new property, it suited our needs quite well last night. Many thanks!
We stayed here last week as a stop on our way back north. The room was reasonably quiet and the beds were ok. The property is pet-friendly. The newer decor could not cover up the fact that this is an old hotel. Particularly noticeable in the ventilation system and the bathroom. Tile around the faucet in the tub was broken, countertop and fixtures in the bathroom were just old. There was someone else's hair on the bathroom floor, crumbs on the carpet, and overall the room did not feel clean. We would normally have requested another room but we arrived quite late after a long day and didn't want to take the time. As other reviewers have noted, they should not be advertising having a breakfast when it's just a few things like prepackaged muffins to “grab and go.”
This Best Western has been our go to when ever we visit the Grandkids in the Elkin area. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The internet always works and is fast for a hotel system. We'll be back!
Room was clean & staff was friendly & helpful with recommendations for restaurants. The noise from the trucks on the highway could be heard when they shifted gears in the early morning which woke me up. I was glad to have a frig, & microwave. It was comfortable & affordable. The drive to the New River gorge was a short drive & well worth spending the day& viewing this beautiful area.
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, lovely and polite staff. I would stay here again. The only reason they rank a 3 is that their grab and go breakfast wasn't what I expected. Cheese danish, banana's and not much more. Thought maybe they would have had yogurt or something else.
The hotel is nice, relatively clean after the renovation, except the bathroom was still very dingy and dirty, I tried not to look. The worst, absolute worst part was being woke up at 12:25 am with the pounding and screaming that lasted until 1:15 am, 2 phone calls were placed to the front desk, the first time being told they would look into it. Then calling back again that the pounding and screaming did not stop. I understand that the hotel is not responsible for its guests but the fact that when concerns were brought up they were not addressed, then the next morning when complaining about the issue again and we were told “what were we supposed to do, they are paying guests”; apparently that means as a paying guest myself, it doesn't apply to my family, since my child was afraid to sleep the rest of the night because they thought someone was going to try to break into our room. For this fact, no, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Would never stay in this hotel again. Someone staying at the hotel was locked out of their room by the person they were with and they pounded on the room door from 12:25 am to 1:15 am, before the hotel did anything about it. I did not appreciate it.
Reception and check in were very welcoming, rooms are clean and well kept. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Grab and go breakfast during covid, but no complaints. Highly recommend, would most definitely come again.
I guess COVID has hit this place hard and they can no longer afford to have housekeeping come to do a thorough cleaning of your room. Found an empty shampoo bottle in my bathtub when I pulled the shower curtain, which was ripped, over to close it. Ripped sheets greeted me. I am not unfamiliar with this hotel and have enjoyed staying here many times. Management was just about an unconcerned as could be. Don't expect help with a late checkout. If you're here visiting family and have personal issues, Jay will look through you. Guess the hotel business is hard and it's causing a less-than-personal touch to be given to customers. We're risking our lives by traveling places and stopping in a hotel could at least not feel like this. My dog says “Bring back the freaking dog biscuits, Cheapskates!”
We really enjoyed our room it was pet friendly And very clean. Steve at the front desk was so helpful in so many ways. Nice to have a friendly face at the front desk. The beds were outstanding! Just love them!
This place was great. Treated us exceptionally well. Felt like they really wanted us there. Gave us a welcome bag at check-in. Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. Convient location near food, gas, etc. Right off the interstate. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The photos make the facility appear to be highly updated and modernized. Some effort has been made to update the facility, however, it is very superficial. Bathroom fixtures are extremely dated, beds are loud and extremely uncomfortable (feel every spring in your side and back).
Front desk (Christine, I believe was her name) was awesome! Truly made us feel like family. We were in town for dance competition. She asked my daughter how the competition went and asked to see video and pictures. Made great recommendations for restaurant and ice cream.
Unclean rooms. Unclean odor and hot air with outdated air conditioning appliance. Unclean carpet and furniture with brown stains. No other rooms available in city so slept on top of all blankets to avoid exposure and still developed a rash the next day for unclean environment.
Good hotel for a stopover going north or south on I77 or stopping in the area. I liked they had a good roomy breakfast area with lots of food. Also an exercise room. Easy on off to the highway. Good friendly service. Clean room with plenty of towels. I would stop here again for sure.
Hello travellers, We recently spent one right here and it was a positive experience. This place is great for those travelling as it is right off the interstate and has several food stops and a Walmart near by. They are dog friendly and have a decent amount of space for walking dogs. The staff were friendly and the receptionist was particularly nice and helpful. Overall the hotel is in good shape, the room was clean enough and in good order (I stayed in a regular king bed room). The room was equipped with a large fridge, good lighting, a full size mirror, microwave and coffee maker. There is also free coffee always available in the lobby. There is a desk and small sofa seat (one person seat). The bed was comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again for an a one or few night stay.
I was traveling at night, in the rain and there was construction on the interstate. I had been traveling all day and knew it was time to stop. I pulled off at a random exit and found my port in the storm. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. There was hot chocolate in the lobby. After a cup of hot chocolate, a hot shower and a good night's sleep, I was ready for the rest of my journey. I stopped here in part because it was straight off the exit but also because it's beside a Cracker Barrel, I thought I would go for breakfast. No need to go to the restaruant, the breakfast provided by the hotel was more than adequate! I will definitely be a repeat customer.
I stayed in the hotel for a week when working out in North Wilkesboro. Very nice hotel and quiet location. There is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance of the hotel. They have a good breakfast and the hotel is clean. The staff is very professional. They have a KCup machine at night in the lobby outside of breakfast hours to make a cup of coffee with a nice assortment of flavors(Eight O'Clock is my favorite). As another guest referred to Patti, she and the entire staff are both very friendly and professional. They can give you directions for the local area businesses, recommendations on food, and other places.
I am always confident BW will meet my expectations. As usual this hotel is a good stop. I am a cigar smoker and especially appreciate a comfortable surrounding in which to enjoy a cigar with my coffee.
My wife and I travel for business and pleasure often. We normally stay at BW motels since I am a Diamond member and the BW normally are very nice and have affordable rates. This is one of the locations that I will not choose again. The stay was not all bad...The motel was clean, the beds were comfortable. My biggest issue was NO hot water!! There was very poor water pressure and the water was only about room temp at the warmest. I showered both at night and before breakfast. No change We had a suite..well two to be exact. The first floor suite blew the breakers when the heat was turned on so we were immediately issued keys to a suite on the second floor. I really am not complaining about that...things break and they took care of the issue right away. The second floor suite had a television in each room which was nice since the College National Championship Football game was on and we wanted to watch it. At half time we decided that we would watch the second half from the bedroom, it was a late game and we had been on the road traveling for most of the day. The TV in the bedroom came on but had no connection to any channels!! My other issue was the breakfast..the same variety of food items were offered as in most BW location. This was absolutely the WORST breakfast I have ever had at a BW motel!! Needless to say our food was wasted and thrown away. Upon check out there was nobody at the desk to check us out. I waited at the desk for about 5 minutes and then just left!! They did email me a receipt but I was not able to share my dissatisfaction with the desk clerk. I didn't expect a refund or any other compensation, I only wish they would address the issues so that this location would be as nice as most BW motels.
Everything we needed for a 1-night stay with a child and 2 dogs. Pet friendly room didn't look or smell like a pet room, nice and clean, and a dog bed was included in the closet. Parking lot was well lit and secure. Breakfast was perfect, something for everyone. Patti at the front desk was so sweet and genuinely caring - I wish every business had someone like Patti, let me tell you, the world would be a better place.
Very nice, very clean. Nearby grocery, gas and a Cracker Barrel about a two minute walk away. Very busy breakfast area but the staff stay on top of it. It is pet friendly. Ample free parking. Robin and Christina greeted us. Very friendly and welcoming. I love these Southern Best Westerns, bonus rewards and a treat bag as well! Would we stay again... Absolutely! Near Mt Airy home of the Andy Griffith show.
Spent the night in suite with hot tub to celebrate our anniversary. staff was nice and place was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh and available until 9:30am. We chose the area to go to Raffaldini WInery. Did not seem there was much else to do in the area and not many places to choose to go out to eat.
Staff was friendly and helpful room was clean..would have liked a few more towels...no biggie the hotel is far enough off the road and I-77 that I did not hear any road noise..so sleeping was good..had a decent choice of items for breakfast..this is the 5th time I have stayed here and I will continue to do so on my yearly trip to Florida

Often make trips to the area to visit family and friends, we usually stay elsewhere. Not anymore, we will now only stay here when in the area. This BW is well maintained as expected but what makes it exceptional is the staff, from housing keeping to the front desk. Special thank you to Patti and Robin. See you soon.
We always stay at this hotel when visiting family in the area. However, on a recent visit, I returned home without my much treasured Nook reader, containing a collection of over 400 novels. (One bag, one night, and straight home). I made many calls to the hotel, no one had stayed in my room when I started calling, and 4 calls later was always promised that someone would call me back. No one can even bother to return my call and I cannot replace $3000 to $4000 of reading material. This How I certainly did not deliver the level of service expected. Beware!
Attending an event in Elkin. This hotel is very convenient. Safe environment, nice holiday decorations. Room comfortable and nice amenities like bottled water in frig. Breakfast area very clean with bottle of hand sanitizer and salt/pepper shakers on each table so don't have to struggle opening little packets. Nice selection of teas in the evening. Have stayed here before and used the pool. Will def stay again.
The hotel was extremely nice! The breakfast area was very well presented ..the only. thing we had an issue with was the hot water not being and staying hot enough for a shower. Very safe and beautiful location!
I've stayed here several times in the past 6+ years, mainly for its location right off of I-77 and it's pet-friendly. Previously it has been a 'perfectly fine for overnight'. After my recent stay, I'd say it has improved and renovated and was truly a very pleasant hotel to stay overnight. The staff is friendly and helpful - they gave me an easy detour off I-77 that avoids a traffic backup that can exceed an hour. The construction has a 2-year project so I'M WARNING YOU, both north and south back up for MILES. Call the hotel as ask for the detour, you'll be glad you did. The room looked brand-new w/renovations, the breakfast was great, the grounds are spacious for walking dogs and plenty of food choices nearby. They have limited pet-friendly rooms so call ahead to reserve one.
10/8/2019 Stayed overnight while traveling to Isle of Palms, SC. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Motel was right off highway and easy to access. Definitely would stay again.
Was traveling from upstate NY to Atlanta. We stop at this Best western because of its convenient location. Quite close to Interstate, gas station and service plaza located across street. Cracker Barrel restaurant located within short walking distance of Best Western.
Pricey but nice. Staff members are so friendly, property is kept clean. Full hot breakfast with meat, eggs, waffles, etc.. We have stayed here before and will stay here again in the future. The outdoor pool area is fabulous too.
Conveniently located to Yadkin Valley vineyards, exceptionally clean, courteous and helpful staff, hot breakfast, and pet friendly. This was our first stay at a Best Western Plus and we would definiely return
This is a nice clean reasonably priced hotel. It offers a friendly staff, comfy beds, decent breakfast, nice new pool and lounge area and free parking. Convenienty located near the highway and next door to a restaurant.
This place is amazing! The cleanliness impeccable, breakfast is delicious, staff is so welcoming and friendly, the beds are so comfortable, and the atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and beautiful. I have stayed here every year for the past ten years and have never been disappointed!
The hotel was spotless clean. The property is very well maintained. Quality workmanship is obvious. Patti at the front desk was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place. The decor is very modern and updated. Adequate free breakfast.
This was an easy access from the highway. A clean property, a good and varied breakfast. Chick in and out was easy with a friendly customer service representative. The room air conditioner was very noisy and after about 3 am I gave up on trying to get back to sleep. The weather was such that leaving the ac off just left the room too warm to sleep as well. When I told the front desk at check out, I was told "sorry about that" with no offer to reduce my bill or otherwise acknowledge the issue. As a BW member, I expected more.
We picked this Best Western over the Quality Inn on the other side of 77 even though it was cheaper, because we thought it would be quieter, and indeed it was very quiet. We asked for a room on the lobby side and first got a room that was on the west side of the inn, right next to the lobby. We found out that we had to be more specific and ask for the east side of the lobby side. We did get another room further down the hallway and were glad that we made the change as the other room would have been much noisier when breakfast starts at 6:30 am. The bathroom was a little dated and the lights from the parking lot do shine into the room even though the drapes were closed. Breakfast was nice with eggs, sausage, and waffles for hot food items. We were happy to get a good night's sleep so that we could continue our travels.
Stayed here on our way south. Hotel and pool area where very clean and landscaped nicely. Room was comfortable and clean as well as quiet. We spent 2 days here before heading south again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sufficient but nothing special. Price was more than fair. Will definitely stay again.
This is an excellent value for the traveler. Even thought this BW is showing some signs of wear because of age, it is still very clean, maintained and comfortable. Staff is outgoing and personable. ONE BIG POSITIVE NOTE........they have a large American Flag displayed in the lobby an you enter.
I doubt there are any hotels of this class that are any nicer than this one. This hotel has it all: very clean, excellent beds, nice staff, good hot breakfast, very dog friendly. It is right off I-77 with a number of restaurant choices close by. We used it for an overnight stay on our way south and couldn't have been more pleased. Good rate too.!
We picked this hotel due to location just off of I-77, and would choose it again. It was a standard room of this level of hotel, the price was very reasonable, the room and common areas were extremely clean, and the check-in/ out staff were extremely friendly. The hotel gives you a small bag of snacks at check in and has cold water bottles waiting for you in the room fridge. We needed a good rest and a shower, and we got it.
I stayed here for one night. The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. They put me in a room located where I preferred, which I appreciated. The room looked nice and the bed was comfortable. I didn't have any issues with not having the room dark enough. The bathroom was pretty spacious too. However, around 8pm-9pm I smelled a strong cigarette odor in my room. I looked outside to see if maybe someone was smoking closer to the building, but did not see anyone. I opened my door and looked out to the hallway, and as I opened the door, it was like I was being blasted with cigarette smoke in my face. The entire hallway reeked of it. I smelled it when I was walking in, but it was a very faint smell, so I thought nothing of it at the time. Someone was either smoking in the stairwell or in their room. I contacted the front desk to ask if they had put me near the smoking part of the hotel and she said no, I wasn't around any smoking rooms and no one should be smoking near met. She was kind and offered to change my room if it continued to bother me, but I knew I would keep running into the same issue anyway, so changing rooms was pointless. She said that whoever was smoking would be fined the next day when the housekeepers go in and discover cigarettes etc. That wasn't really helpful to me. She also was confused that I was smelling anything since the "doors are sealed." Well, that's a total lie because I can see a bunch of light coming into the opening of the bottom and the side of the door. So, I decided to deal with it and put a towel along the bottom of the door to keep some of the smell out. I was worried the smell was going to get into my clothes etc. When I removed the towel that morning, it was covered in cigarette smell. When I left the hotel in the morning, the front desk staff was smoking right in front of the entrance and I had to walk through a cloud of his cigarette smoke while I exited the hotel into the parking lot. I had a headache all night and dealt with it, but I won't be staying there again. It's unfortunate because the staff seemed really nice, but because the hotel offers smoking rooms and don't seem to be very strict about the non-smoking section, that hotel isn't for me.
Stayed on way back from Ohio. It is pet friendly but the grass is so high that it makes "going" difficult for small dog. The room had an oder that was offensive. The bathroom appeared to have mold ( or dirt) around the tub/shower. The A/C could not be controlled and was loud. Breakfast was uninspiring. Not likely to stop again.
Staff was very friendly but the elevator had a strong odor. The second floor had possible black mold on the ceiling. Continental breakfast was nice but there were gnats flying around the waffle making area.
We always stop at this hotel while traveling through the area. Love the people! The pool area are quite large and we've always enjoyed swimming when we have time. The breakfast bar is always full and ready when we get up.
This was a nice hotel to stay at and I would have given it a higher rating if the light outside didn't keep us awake. There was only one see thru, white flimsy curtain, nothing to block out the outside light. The light pole had 4 big lights on it. At midnight with no room lights on, I could read in the room. Otherwise the room was fine. The complimentary breakfast had many choices.
We've been visiting this hotel while traveling to North Carolina for 25 years. Both the building and property keep getting better. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms are comfortable, quite and sanitary. Best of all, filling and delicious hot breakfast!
I always stay at this hotel when traveling between FL and NY as it is pet friendly and in a good location for me. Staff is friendly and there is a nice breakfast included in the room price. My room was neat and clean and stocked with nice toiletries and was reasonable in price.
Looks great outside and the staff is friendly but inside it is not very clean. Grout in bathroom floor was black with either dirt or mold; signs of a bad leak had been painted over. Won't stay there again.
Clean rooms but not stylish. The side entry door from outside was unsecure with a broken lock which is a safety concern. The room lacked a microwave but had a fridge with 2 free bottles of water. Pet friendly and at check in I was given a locally made dog treat for my dog. Friendly staff and an ok breakfast.
Awesome clean friendly place to stay I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was amazing and well stocked they never seemed to run out of food even right up to time for breakfast to end.
Selected hotel based on reviews and pet friendly policy. Just off 1-77 with gas & several restaurant options including a Cracker Barrel right next door. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Left very early, so missed breakfast, however, staff member working desk & breakfast set up brought us bagels & fruit. Coffee was ready. She was so helpful, making sure we left with hot coffee and toasted bagels. Will make this our regular stop on route South.
hotel has upgraded looks , but otherwise is TIRED !! overpriced ! this is a $80 - 90 $ hotel It is located next to Cracker Barrel , it is the only reason we stayed here . We will not use this hotel in the future
While on our last 2 vacations we stayed at Best Western. We found them to be clean, the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Breakfast was good and the coffee was great! Some that we stayed at didn't have exhaust fans in bathroom so mirrors fogged and room steamed up.
We have stayed at this Best Western Plus several times and have had an excellent experience each time. Traveling with a pet we are often forced to settle for poor lodging because many better hotels are not pet friendly. This Best Western Plus is the best we have stayed in. The suites are large and clean and the staff is helpful!
Our stay was in the handicap accessible room. Room was clean and roomy but no grab bars around toilet. No shelf space in the shower for soap or shampoo. No shelf space for the sink. No closet available. Room was considered pet friendly but the floor was carpeted. Reasonable cost for our pet ($20). Recommend you get a room that is not handicap accessible if available.
Had a bit of difficulty getting to the hotel due to ! 81 backups. Staff were informed about future plans for work done and passed those along. This hotel is friendly, geared to customer service and within walking area of a good restaurant.
stayed one night on the way home to Toronto, clean great service good price. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Florida. the self serve breakfast was excellent with lots of variety ,the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. and of course the price was right, roughly $200.00 for two rooms
I plan my stOPS along the way wherever I can find a BW. It's the hotel brand I can always trust. Always clean, price is moderate and all that we stayed at offered free breakfast which is great so you can just get on the road .
Very good location, close to the highway, fuel, and food. Rooms were spacious, clean, and the whole environment was comfortable. Walking distance for food was a bonus. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was adequate and properly serviced. Definitely will stay again.
Great hotel right off the highway. Stayed here on our way back from Florida. Clean and modern. Beds were very comfortable which made for a great sleep after a long day on the road. The Saturday AM front desk staff was super friendly! Thanks for a great stay!
Hotel was clean, breakfast was adequate, hotel staff was friendly. Had very little water pressure and even less hot water in the shower. In room alarm clock was broken and desk personnel stated it could not be replaced until maintenance came in the next morning.
This Best Western Plus has a great front desk staff. They are friendly, warm and helpful which is wonderful while on a long road trip. They looked after all of our concerns and even prepared a little breakfast to go so we would not be held up waiting for the breakfast to open. The hotel is lovely with all the great amenities. Our stay was very comfortable. An extra plus is that it is walking distance to the Cracker Barrel which made our dinner most enjoyable.
I walked through the door tired from over 12 hours driving and found an extremely helpful lady at the front desk. I had no reservations , but I was greeted very warmly and was provided an outstanding room that was extremely well furnished with a king size bed and a bath which was spotless and well stocked with all necessities. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. I woke early with a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very adequate and checkout was a breeze. I highly recommend this motel to anyone traveling this area.
Remodeled! Stayed here for a quick trip to Elkin, close enough to absolutely everything, it's remodeled smells and looks fresh and clean. The staff is VERY friendly. We had a room right beside the elevator, didn't hear it once or anyone using it didn't hear ONE door slam, now that's something to be excited about. Will absolutely stay again! THANKS BWP!
Had a king bed dog friendly room. Room and bathroom were very clean. Lobby was clean and nice. Great location. Felt secure. Nice area to take dogs to walk around and go to the bathroom. Very courteous staff. Very happy with stay.
Great find. Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. Beds are comfortable with decent pillows. Good water pressure in bathroom. 2 bottles of water in the room. Restaurant is steps from the hotel. Highly recommend!
This is a great place to stay clean room had freg no microwave in room had one in lobby tho I would definitely stay here again very nice staff ,they have restaurants in walking distance of the rooms thanks
Well maintained. Clean rooms. Price is right. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed Breakfast included. Right off the interstate. Beside Cracker Barrel Nothing wrong with this place. Would definitely stay again
Stayed one night on our way from New York to Florida. Nice accommodations and was very pet friendly. Hotel employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast available. Will definitely stay here again.
Great hotel!!! This was by far the cleanest hotel that I gave stayed in. The lobby and breakfast area was updated and decorated for the holidays. The staff is so welcoming, even at our late arrival. The rooms were updated and the bedding and mattress were so cozy. I will definitely stay again and recommend to all my friend who r traveling south. And the price can not be beat!!!
The hotel was nice and clean. They did have pet friendly rooms which seemed to be smoking rooms once upon a time. The hallway on the first floor smelled like cigarette smoke, but the room did not smell at all ( although it was pet friendly). The room was clean and the furniture were newer. Breakfast in the morning was good. The folks at the front desk were friendly and willing to go out if they way to accommodate us. Will stay at this hotel again if I am in the area
Room was quiet and clean. I traveled with two pets and I was given an excellent room with quick access to the outside. There was a nice clean area to walk my dogs. Breakfast was just okay. Eggs and sausage were excellent but the pancake maker did not thoroughly cook the pancake. I did not like the choice of pastries and the coffee was lukewarm and bitter tasting. Breakfast area was neat and clean.
An outstanding place to stay. Great location. Great breakfast, and an outstanding staff that makes sure that your stay is a great experience. I would recommend this motel to anyone wanting a great place to stay.
I stay here frequently for work, every staff you meet is friendly and always helps when I need something. I work during the night and sleep during the day and the cleaning staff never wakes me up. They work with you for cleaning services.
The hotel was very clean. It looked like it had recently been remodeled. I liked that the beds did not have a comforter but instead had clean white blankets. The staff was friendly. The staff reassured us any pets were kept on a particular side of the hotel. We had no allergy issues and did not see or smell any signs of animals. The breakfast was good and the pool looked nice. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
I came to NC to visit with family from different area's,they met me at this hotel over nine nights. We were treated very good by every one there,Manger and all of his staff went out their way to make it a great time.
It has been painted to look like it has been updated but it has not. Bathroom toilet was wobbly and the shower did not work properly, no pressure, not hot. The shower faucet was loose and the pull wasn't working right. The hallway smelled musty.
This hotel was very clean and the front desk was so kind. We stayed in a queen suite which had 2 TVs in seperate rooms and that was convenient for our children. They provided complimentary toiletries and sewing kit. There was a hair dryer and the bathroom was a decent size. Beds were very comfortable and room stayed dark with the curtains. There is an outdoor pool and free breakfast. Very convenient location just off the highway and next door to a Cracker Barrel!
We had a one night stay here and it was fantastic! Steve at the front desk was extremely helpful when we made our reservation and gave great suggestions on things to do and where to eat while we were in the area. Rooms were clean and quiet. Great stay!
Last minute stay for a break from the Florence rain in our travels and it was perfect! Everything was clean and well maintained, breakfast was plentiful with coffee/juices, baked goods, fruits, eggs/sausage, and I believe some waffles and cereal! Bed was soft and comfy and the bathroom had plenty of space and very clean! This put the Hampton we stayed at to shame!!
I always stay at this hotel as it is halfway between NY and FL. Staff is always friendly and helpful and a decent breakfast is provided. The hotel was recently nicely updated. Unfortunately, something went wrong with my room lock and I was locked out for 45 minutes after leaving briefly early in the a.m. to walk the dog. The manager had to use a tool to open the door then I could not close it again if I left the room or would be locked out again.
I choose BW Yadkin Valley Inn and Suites because of the location and I am always satisfied with BW service and rooms. 30 minutes from Stone Mountain hiking, picking areas, history and fishing. 30 minutes from Pilot Mountain hiking and Mt Airy home of Andy Griffin. Make sure to stop by the Angry Troll Brewing for awesome beer and burger.
We came to the area to visit our youngest daughter. This hotel had the best rate. We had a king size bed on the first floor. The lobby was nice. We checked in late in the evening. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice, clean and very hot. It took several hours for the ac to cool our room. The breakfast was standard, consisting of scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bagels, etc. The pool was vey nice and the area well maintained. I would reccomend this hotel. It is conveniently located right off I-77. We will continue to use this hotel when we come to visit.
This looks to be a fairly new hotel the rooms are wonderful and roomy they have breakfast from 6 am it is conviently located near a number of places to eat including walking across the parking lot to Cracker Barrel super good place
Jonesville and surrounding area nice to visit with plenty of entertainment options. Hotel check-in was our main negative experience. We reserved and paid online for a pet friendly suite with two queen beds. On arrival we were told queen suites could not have pets only a king suite. this might have been okay with roll away bed, but not available. We asked to speak to manager, he sent message with clerk, but would not respond personally to our complaint. Other than second floor ice machine being out of order all week, rest of stay was as expected.
we loved the room had two smart TVS and microwave and refrigiratorall the amenities were great . the service was fantasticmanager and other staff members were very helpful. Location of the hotel was great.
We didn't have reservations but they accommodated us and we had a great room & experience. Our room was comfortable, clean & quiet. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and amazing. The staff was very friendly.
Great last minute stop on the road. Quick and easy. Very clean. Night staff was so sweet. Breakfast was simple but tasty. And you can't beat free. Also very quite, I knew the hotel was full but couldn't hear noise through the walls.
Ashley greeted me and was extremely competent. She was quick to check me in, provide discount and offer extra towels. Hotel was immaculate and lobby was very nicely decorated. Hotel room was also immaculate, modern, and comfortable. I left extremely early and night manger went out of his way to provide breakfasts and snacks for the road.
This is BW Plus. The property is well maintained and very secure. Interior corridors with elevators. The entire experience from check in, breakfast, check out was very good. Staff is very concerned with guests satisfaction. Numerous restaurants are close.
Travelling North from Florida, my wife and I opted to stay at the Jonesville Best Western. It turned out to be a wise decision. The staff was helpful and accommodating. I forgot my razor, and they graciously provided me with a disposable one. Overall it was a restful stop on our long journey to Pittsburgh.
Our large room was clean and nicely appointed, the bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly, all our needs were met. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of things to choose from including both hot and cold options.
Room was extremely hot and took FOREVER to cool down when we arrived. Room was ground floor and steps from loud pool splashing. For the money We paid we were expecting a much better experience. Very disappointed
Stayed at this hotel for one night. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean with lots of parking and an outdoor pool (which we did not use). There is a Cracker Barrel in walking distance across the street. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Plenty of room in the room itself and the bathroom. Breakfast was nice and included waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, pastries, bread, juice, and coffee. Plenty of room for the guests using the space. Even though it was right by the interstate, traffic noise wasn't an issue.
First visit to this hotel. We were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk! She was so helpful and told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. We easily found our room and happy with the accommodations. Clean and just enough of everything. Bed was comfy with plenty of pillows and the room temperature was good. It was pouring rain on our trip north to this location and it hadn't stopped yet. We asked about any local restaurants and the lady helped us out again. Wish I could remember her name, she really enjoyed her job! We were very satisfied with the breakfast as well. Lots of choices and lots of coffee.
My family stopped here on our way south on I-77. We didn't make the reservation until a few hours before stopping, so we were grateful to get the room. The lobby and breakfast area were nicely renovated. The rooms were average rooms for this type of hotel. We were hoping to be able to do a quick trip to the pool with the kids in the morning before we started driving again, but the pool didn't open until very late in the morning (10am I believe). For the price, the hotel was a good choice for a quick road stop.
If your looking for a clean comfortable place to stay in the area stop here. We drove 20 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was worth it. Check in service was great. Front desk clerk could not have been more helpful. Pool was great Hotel clean very clean Breakfast place with good variety and very clean
The property owner spent a lot of money in their lobby and exterior and did NOTHING to the rooms! I reserved two rooms, one with a pet and they other for my daughter and grand baby. Our room STUNK, our daughters room had a malfunctioning AC, the corridor for that wing STUNK like cigarettes, we will NEVER stay there again. The reviews I read about this property was a BIG JOKE!
This Best Western is totally as described---neat, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, varied breakfast choices, and a very pleasant staff. It is just off the exit with a Cracker Barrel next door, but there is an assortment of restaurants within a very short drive. I would have given it a 5 except for the room a/c which ran all night---however, as that is part of this motel design, it is understood. I would return anytime if in the area.
We had found the Best Western Yadkin Valley through Trip Advisor reviews, and chose it for a two-night stay while in the Jonesboro area doing some family heritage exploration. We were not disappointed! The hotel was nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfactory, and the breakfast hostess one morning was bubbly with "Southern hospitality!" I know it is a convenient "Interstate" stop - so probably gets hard use by people just passing through. We found it to be, though a notch above the expected - a quality place to stay in the Jonesville area.
hotel is nice, just need a better maintense team tv in the lobby is broken and our ac in the room was broken. breakfast was standast. room was clean. staff was friendly. price was under 100.00 . a average hotel.
This hotel is just off an I-77 exit with a Cracker Barrel restaurant next door. Very convenient for travelers. It has recently been renovated and has clean and well decorated rooms and public areas. Our room was large with two queen beds. The bathroom was large with a tub/shower combination. Shampoo and body lotion were provided. Our room was quiet, with the exception of the noise when the AC came on which was distracting when trying to sleep. The pillows were too lofty for my taste, but that is a personal thing. The included breakfast was lovely, with scrambled eggs that tasted like real eggs. (Too many hotel buffets offer disappointing scrambled eggs.) We would definitely consider this hotel for future stays.
The staff was very nice & informative. We got the last pet friendly room located next to an exit which was perfect. Very quiet. The outside lighting in the dog area was perfect as well. The room was clean but smelled strongly of dog urine which makes it very hard to keep your dog behaving. One bed was good but the other kept making noise whenever you moved & had a hollow on one side making it hard to sleep. Breakfast buffet was not the best but did met minimum standards.
The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Great location for walking to cracker barrel. The breakfast was excellent and morning staff were cheerful and bright.. I would stay here again.
A great place to stop after that long drive or just relaxing on the way to somewhere. This place has everything needed to wind down and have a good rest. Just walk over to the Crackle Barrel Restaurant for a meal or just down the road for something else. Convenient off the interstate and easy to get back on. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The building has been remodeled and well maintained. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor pool area. Breakfast was great, with a nice variety of hot and cold items. Definitely a place to stay.
Clean, up-to-date room with very comfortable beds. Front desk provided dog treat for my pet upon arrival -- nice touch. Good well lit walking space around the hotel for pet. Cracker Barrel next door within walking distance.
Stayed here with my 2 dogs for a nearby competition. Everyone was very welcoming, and there is a designated potty area with bags and a disposal bin. The parking lot was well-lit, making me feel safe walking my dogs at night. Room was clean and everything was in good working order. I will plan to stay here again for future events.
Excellent customer service and the beds were very comfortable. All staff was professional and willing to assist my needs. The overall experience of my stay was excellent and if I have another conference in this location, I will certainly choose Best Western for my stay.
Best Western in Jonesville, NC is superbly located - across the street from a great restaurant and only a hundred yards from an excellent gas station and the Best Western is comfortable, affordable, an run by great management and employees.
Very clean hotel, soft comfy bed, large rooms, good breakfast, easy highway access, good local food. No highway noise, plenty of parking, one central elevator, very nice lobby and breakfast area decor, large soft towels and spacious clean bathroom! I stay in over 20 hotels a year. Much cheaper than Hampton which is nearby. Plenty local food to choose from.
After a long day driving this was a good place to stay .Very clean rooms. Very nice breakfast. Nice and quiet for sleeping .we definitely recommend this hotel and we will stay here again on our frequent trips to our southern home
Spent 2 nights. Days exploring the Elkin area. Best Western staff helpful in recommending restaurants and points of interest. Room was comfortable but would have liked an in-room microwave. Manager very friendly (as was all staff); he even served coffee and took care of the breakfast area on Easter moring. Looking forward to a return visit to the area and will stay at this hotel.
A BW can always be counted on to have a constant acceptable level f quality and service for a moderate price. The hot breakfast is as good as you can expect for a limited selection. Service is usually satisfactory.
If you're looking for a clean and friendly place to spend the night on your way up north then this is property is a good choice. It's easy to get to from northbound interstate and easy to get back on. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door if you want to grab a quick dinner. The hotel generally is very clean and that includes the rooms. Staff at front desk and in breakfast room was great and very helpful. Would stay again!
Have visited the Jonesville area for several years now and really enjoy staying at the Best Western Yadkin Valley Resort. The staff is always helpful, free breakfast and pet friendly rooms. We stay here when we are visiting local wineries and vineyards. It is centrally located for our purposes. Added Plus, Cracker Barrel is right next door for a hearty supper when you return from whatever your adventures may have been that day. Several other good restaurants within 3-4 miles.
Very clean. Staff was friendly. Dinner was a walk across the parking lot. Great to find a motel this nice right off of I-77. It was a surprise to find a place this nice and convenient in exactly the right place for us.
We stayed overnight here while on a road trip north. The hotel is very easy to find - exit off the 77 north and you literally drive into the hotel from the off ramp! The entire hotel seems clean, newly renovated and attractive. Breakfast was good (your standard waffles, eggs, sausage patty, oatmeals, juice) and the staff was attentive and friendly. There is a Cracker Barrel next door - we walked in at 9:50, had a great meal and were back in our room by 10:30! Wifi worked well, bed was huge (king) and comfortable. Only criticism was the shower was not powerful or hot, but it was adequate. We were very comfortable in this hotel
I am currently staying at this hotel and when I went to lay down from working on the power lines all day from the wind storm I noticed a brown spot on my pillow come to find out there was dried up blood and puss all over my pillow this is by far the nastiest thing I have experienced will not be staying again they clearly do not change there linens so gross wish there was something I can do
WoW! newly remodeled-spiffy clean- excellent breakfast choices-Stay here and you will not be disappointed! (get your discount coupon fron any NC rest stop) Friendly staff- well appointed rooms at reasonable prices..
Travelling from Florida to Ontario Canada this Hotel was pet friendly and a good location and next to the Cracker Barrel which was great. The room was comfortable, with micro and fridge and good internet. The breakfast area and menu was very good. Price was competitive .
The staff were vert friendly and attentive. Hotel was very clean and well kept. Nice lobby area and the breakfast was top notch. Bed was comfortable overall a great experience, very nice hotel I will definitely stay here again when in town.
I didn't complain because it was clean and they were nice, but I have emphysema and can't handle cigarette smoke. Even my clothes smell like it and we we're in a "non- smoking" room. Breakfast was average. We only stayed one night on the way north. I couldn't have handled two. I read on here that we should have asked for a room upstairs.
Rooms, lobby and exterior have been nicely renovated. Not luxurious but functional. Stayed in accessible room. Shower was little awkward and not very convenient. Pet friendly at reasonable rate. Breakfast was nothing special but filling. Would stay here again when in the area.
Although under renovations (almost complete), the staff and owner were very pleasant and helpful. Very good value for the room; would stay again at this hotel. Well decorated for the holiday season. Nice spacious room.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night while traveling to another state. This hotel was perfect for what we needed. The area was nice and we felt safe stopping here. The hotel was very clran and nicely decorated and the staff was super friendly! We will definitely stay here again the next time we make this trip!
Stayed here while attending a family birthday. Everything was perfect from the room to the full breakfast. I will definitely stay here again the next time we come down for a visit. Shout out to Brandi for her excellent guidence and shining personality. Truly a sweet person who made our stay wonderful.
The staff were helpful when we called to check about a pet friendly room, and they were pleasant when I checked in. The room was a bit run down, but it did seem to have a fresh coat of paint. The heat was either hot or off. The shower sprayed water up on the ceiling, where it cooled before dripping on someone in the shower. The dripping ceiling also caused the towels to get quite wet, while on the towel rack next to the shower.
We stay at this location when visiting family in the area. When I made reservations for this stay I mistakenly checked a smoking room. Brenda noticed this error and had a non smoking room waiting for us. That's going the extra mile for the customer. The property is under going a very nice renovation and looks great.
Great, pet friendly hotel. Nice reception upon checking in. Had a problem with the handicapped room as the door was on backwards and wouldn't allow access from room into bath. Hopefully it will be corrected.
Ventured from NJ to NC for a birthday party. Chose this one due to Brandy being so wonderful when I called to as questions as I do not know the area. Our room was perfect, the extra pillows I requested were in place, the breakfast was full and those little cinnamon rolls we're fabulous! I felt so comfortable there, I almost started helping the manager decorate the Christmas tree in the lobby! An Arby's within walking distance, and a Cracker Barrel right next door were both an unexpected treat! I had a great time, and I plan to stay again the next time I find myself in the area.
the staff were friendly and helpful. We were charged a pet-fee not disclosed at booking. The closet door was broken in the room. The beds were comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room which we appreciated.
Very happy with this place....will stay here again...rooms are nice and clean...internet was nice for me as a business owner...I had stayed at another Best Western in Winston...and they gave the same two internet options but one you had to pay for...which is ridiculous to me....FREE internet should be FREE regardless not free with this hidden charge we will sneak in on you...so kudos to this one for those both being free...staff was very friendly...I have no complaints. FIVE STAR in a small country town to me
Still undergoing renovations but was a good choice for our group. Great location and the price was good. Breakfast could use more variety of bagels and some English muffins. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. A/c heating unit was noisy and hard to regulate. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. We would stay there again.
I always try to stay at Best Western they are consistently updated clean and have excellent staff Enjoy their included breakfast above the norm This facility was no different The only reason I don't always stay st Best Western is because there is not one in the area I need to stay
Just renovated ! Most impressive, spacious and clean ! We will stay here again next time we come through this way ! Stay was very excellent and staff was very friendly courteous helpful and professional. Hot breakfast really hit the spot and the coffee was very good.
This vist was ot as good as previous ones. the first room had a saturated wet carpet and we had to change rooms. This was handled well. The 2nd room had a noisy rattling AC heater unit That was ot found until we were ready to go to sleep. The bed was comfortable and the facilities are very clean,
We have stayed here in the past. The hospitality and professional attitude of the staff is outstanding. The 2nd room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Upon checking in our first room had a saturated carpet. The issue was handled promptly. The second room had an issue with a noisy rattling heater. we were ready for bed and endd up turning off the heat. after that the room was quiet.
Stopped here to rest during a trip north. Every thing we had was excellent, Comfortable bed, great rate, excellent staff, hot / cold breakfast included and right off the interstate. I highly recommend this BW.
We usually stay at a different chain. This was a pleasant upgrade. The woman who checked us in even went as far as to check how many more stays we needed to get a free room. The decor and seasonal decorations were great!
This is a well decorated, happy hotel. The staff were all very happy and went out of their way to answer questions as well as research a local attraction. Dining is within walking distrance and it is an easy exit from the 77.
My family and I stayed at this hotel when we had trouble with our vehicle while traveling through North Carolina on a weekend. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The most outstanding part of our stay was the interaction with the hotel staff. The manager on duty, Mr. Patel, was aware of our situation and he arranged for us to stay longer in our room following the stated checkout time while our vehicle was being repaired. He and his staff were friendly and highly attentive to our needs and they frequently asked what they could do to make our unexpected stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. If I ever stay in the Jonesville area again, I will look at no other hotels than the Best Western Yadkin Valley Inn and Suites.
great location off I 81North, clean rooms, good night sleep, professional staff. and perfect am breakfast. Affordable pricing and quiet.:). Next time you and your travel group looking for good night sleep check in.
close to interstate so i did not have to travel very far to find it room was very clean with a large flat screen tv and coffee in room nice hot breakfast in the morning staff was friendly and ready to help
Tremendous staff. Very professional and friendly. They go out of their way to insure you have a comfortable and worry free visit. Rooms are clean and orderly, parking is easy. quick access from Interstate. A selection of reasonably pried restaurants in the immediate area.
We enjoyed staying at this Best Western. It was right off the interstate so easy to find, the staff was professional and knowledgeable. There was a Cracker Barrel in walking distance allowing us to get a quick meal after a long drive. Got back to the hotel and we could just relax. The bed was comfortable and temperature stayed just right. Got up in the morning and a decent breakfast and we were back on the road. For the price we paid we got exactly what we needed and wanted.
Great reasonable, clean and restful place to stop overnight. Wonderful staff!!!! Great restaurant ( Southern on Main). Short drive. Breakfast good. Beds were amazing and reasonably priced. They are putting in a new swimming pool and patio area. Will be back.
The room was very new, clean, well attended. The breakfast and internet services which, at my time of visiting, were included in the price, were top notch. I searched and reserved the room via my iphone while driving down the interstate!
Right now this hotel is under construction but overall this is a great hotel to stay at. They have everything that you need including WiFi, weight room and breakfast in the morning. There are under construction in the back of the hotel which they are installing a underground pool. They are in a great location right next to Cracker Barrel right off of 77 hwy. Customer service at Best Western is outstanding. What else can you all for?
This motel served our need for just a quick overnight stay. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is an older facility and shows some wear. Breakfast was barely satisfactory. This was a good value for a quick overnight. We were looking for a place to stay a few days in the future to do the wine trail, but this motel is only a quick overnight for us. More than one night, we would step up a couple of stars. We would stay again for a quick overnight.
We got a good nights sleep after a long day of driving. Room was comfortable, having a walk in shower was a bonus after having foot surgery and not being able to walk on it. The breakfast was convenient before we hit the road in the morning.
As always we stopped here on our way north and spent 3 nights. Quiet and always nice people who staff the hotel. Clean well maintained rooms never any problems. It was starting to get cold so we did not use the pool but in the right season it is a great way to end the day.
Was able to get a pet friendly room, at the last minute when I had to check out of another hotel which had roaches while running from Hurricane Irma. Jean at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely return. Was very clean and comfortable.
I always stay at this hotel on my way between FL and NY as it is the halfway point in my trip and because it has always been pet-friendly. This may be changing, however, as I was handed a sheet of paper listing new rules for pet stays (dog can't sleep on bed or be on furniture, must feed pets in the bathroom, etc.). I have always had a dog with me when I have stayed here and have never left any kind of mess and willingly pay the $15 per pet fee. However, I don't expect that my less than 9 lb dog will have to sleep on an uncomfortable floor when I am paying extra to have her at the hotel. She is cleaning than lots of people I know and makes not mess at all unlike people who are traveling with small children. I may have to re-think my travel plans in the future due to the new pet rules. The hotel is clean and kept up and offers a good breakfast in the morning.
Arrived late without reservations and was promptly greeted and had us a room in no time. Steve was the night clerk and went out of his way to take care of us. When back in the area would stay there again.
The Best Western is a lot better than they use to be with breakfast and wonderful suites. Cracker Burrel is right across the parking lot. You can't go wrong if you stop here for an overnighter -- or just to hangout.
Good location, very clean and helpful staff. Plenty of places to walk the dog. Great location for winery tours. Janesville is nice, also visit boondocks brewing (great service) and Round Peak winery with your dog. Will go back there again. Thanks you.
The exterior and lobby look like they've been recently updated and the rooms semi-updated. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Size of the in-room fridge was great! Hate the pet fee since my room is usually cleaner when I leave than when I arrived, but at least they've lowered it from $20/pet to $15. Extremely easy-off and easy-on for Hwy. 77.
We stopped here for the night with out any reservations. The service was great and the property was very clean and well maintained. Then breakfast was industry standard fare and was kept stocked and clean.
The hotel is pretty good but is getting old and needs an update. It is clean and we had a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast. The swimming pool was closed and there were areas where the wallpaper was torn. But all in all it is a good place to stay.
The rooms were clean, the staff was kind, friendly and efficient. The beds weren't very comfy... kinda hard. It seems to be an older hotel that they are trying to update and improve. Breakfast was unremarkable.
The hotel, its staff, and accommodations were great for our overnight stop-over. However, we arrived later in the day expecting to find dinner options because the hotel advertised " ten restaurants within walking distance of this North Carolina hotel.". There was a Cracker Barrel across the street but only fast-food that we saw, and really not within walking distance on the busy street. Disappointed in this fact.
Very quiet and the beds and pillows were exceptionally comfy. Very clean. Nice breakfast to get you going in the morning. We would stay here again. Great experience after a long day of driving from Orlando.
When we got up the next morning we found cockroaches on the floor of both rooms we rented and also on the floor outside our rooms. We told the lady at the front desk and showed her the pictures we took.
This Best Western was nice however their sanitation grade was a 'B' in their breakfast area. I didn't realize this until after I had eaten my eggs and sausage, however neither my husband or I got sick. However the hotel is graded an "A".
Located close to I-77, the hotel is nevertheless quiet. We had a large quiet ground floor room on the side of the building at a great overnight rate. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. When we discovered the in-room coffee facilities would only run to one real and one decaf coffee, a major marital rift was in sight - but we were speedily supplied with additional real coffee pouches. The complimentary breakfast is, alas, totally what you would expect from a mid-range hotel. It IS possible to do better, we have stayed in many other places with proper plates and cutlery, full coffee pot and no rubbery scrambled eggs or soggy sausage patties, . The swimming pool is closed until July, though that didn't bother us. If you go out to eat dinner (as there are no facilities in the hotel), I recommend Southern on Main (three minutes drive away).
This was a great night stay with dog. Hotel is very nice. The staff was great; while calling in for my reservation. Nice area to walk your pup. Grounds seem to be well maintained. Check in was very smooth. Check Out experience was good. Nice complementary water in the fridge – cold and ready to drink.
We have stayed at this pet friendly hotel several times while traveling. We have always had a good stay. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Needed tissues which were provided by the front desk very quickly.
The hotel was close to the highway and the staff was friendly. The hotel is overdue for a makeover. The lobby and breakfast area were nice, but the back stairwell where we entered the building needed work. Stairs were damaged, the plants in pots were dead and the swimming pool had no water in it.
The hotel- easy to find and worth your charges for overnight. The restaurant for food - across the street...walking distance. The place to fill the gas tank - within a few hundred yards. What could be better??
We had traveled over this portion of I-77 many times. I had not found a hotel that I would return to on subsequent trips - until now. After a busy day, I prefer staying at a hotel in a quiet area. This hotel certainly met that criteria as we could WALK to dinner at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant next door. Checkin went smoothly, our request for an upper floor was met. The room was quite and comfortable. Some in our group prefer a room with the sink inside the bathroom, that was the case here. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast room with large windows looking out at trees and a bird feeder, an excellent way to start the day.
Best Western can be counted on to have clean rooms, well appointed and a great Breakfast, and don't forget plenty of parking. while on the road I look for the best western signs as a place to spend the night, keep up the good work with your brand
This is a high quality hotel, we were well taken care of, got the best possible rate for the are. Was helped with directions and information about the area. Room was comfortable, great breakfast. Will plan on staying at this hotel again.
We had a long check-in process on a Sunday around 6:00 PM. Rooms were still not ready by then, but they were clean when we got into it. The bed was hard and the pillows were small. The ice machine on the second floor did not work and at the price for a place out in the middle of nowhere, this doesn't speak well. But on the good side the breakfast lady kept all the items stocked.
We just needed a place to rest our heads after driving 10hrs, and although they didn't have anymore basic rooms available Louis Ann (the nicest desk clerk ever) helped us out. We got a very clean jacuzzi room, and although tired we took her advice and relaxed in the jacuzzi before bed. Thanks Louis Ann! Worth the little extra:)
very pleasant and helpful staff. clean comfortable room. breakfast was satisfactory with good choices.close off interstate pool and very clean property.even a goodie bag when you register for best western rewards and already a rewards member
A nice clean convient hotel with a pleasant staff that includes a free breakfast and is reasonably priced. The room included a refrigerator, coffee pot and a Micro wave. The location was next to route 77 a Major highway. The Cracker Barrel restaurant is With in walking distance for a good Home cooked meal at a reasonable price. We would stop here again.
Modern, fresh, clean, reasonably priced. Right at I-77 exit, with Cracker Barrel across the street. Looks like a fairly new hotel. Plain outside, nice inside. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Great choice when traveling by automobile.
Third year stopping here coming and going to Florida. The beds are great, the pillows are phenomenal and the staff are second to none! They can't seem to do enough for you. The owner/manager gets involved and he is a great guy. Same thing - can't do enough for you. He's certainly in the right profession, makes you feel like family. If you don't stay at Best Western coming or going you're really missing out. We liked the pillows so much we bought 10 of them. He special ordered them for us so next trip there, there they were. I'm telling you, ABOVE AND BEYOND. Don't forget - Yadkin Valley, Jonesville North Carolina.
We booked last minute yesterday and stayed one night. (road trip from Florida) . Our suite had complimentary waters in fridge. Living room area, separate from bedroom. Perfect! Put kids to bed and watched television. We checked out today at 7am. Didn't use pool or eat breakfast but I did grab coffee and a few bananas. We booked at Microsuites in Statesville and cancelled after we arrived. (not a very nice hotel). Best Western staff was amazing when I called and told them, we needed space for 4 and non smoking. They had availability, clean room, and great location. (very accessible). Shower had good water pressure! We were very pleased for the price. Bonus- we ate at crocker barrel next door - yummy!!
After a long day traveling this was a great stopping place. We also ate at the Cracker Barrel right next door, very convenient. There were so many travelers staying here, the only rooms left were suites.
The room price went up because it was Friday. Room very clean and comfortable; Friendly staff.. Would stay again but NOT on the weekend=Rates too high.. Located next to Crackle Barrel and gas station. Great Location off the exit.
We were very tired after driving all day and when we got off the interstate we saw this hotel and stopped. Very comfortable night's sleep and a great breakfast in the morning. We started the next day refreshed.
We always look forward to our stay here on the way south. Staff genuinely care about guests and are always so cheerful and welcoming. The quality is a comforting constant and the staff (especially Patty) are a relief after a long drive.
They put us in a handicap room. If you use a wheel chair like my father in law you would have to go out in the hallway to get into the bathroom. The door to the bathroom opens the wrong way and you can't get around the door hardly standing up let along in a wheel chair. The shower was handicap but the shower head is so high Im 5' ft tall I could barely reach it. Then there was nothing to attach it to had to put it on the floor. Not very handicap friendly.
This Best Western was comfortable and staff was very friendly. More updated and clean. So convenient- right off of highway I 77 and next door to Cracker Barrel. A relaxing stay after a day of driving, with a hot cup of coffee offered next to the check in area.
When we got to Jonesville we first looked at another hotel. I didn't go into it because it looked run down on the ourside. We went to Best Western just a few minutes away and boy am I glad we did. Excellences all round. Great price, great service and great breakfast the next morning. Rated a 10 by us for sure.
This Jonesville N.C. Best Western is one of the MOST Friendly places to spend a quiet night after a busy day of extensive driving . Their Staff is extremely considerate , in choosing the " PERFECT " Room to meet one's needs . Its complimentary morning Breakfast is better most Breakfast Nooks , which is served by extremely CARING personnel !!!!
My wife and I along with 2 other couples attended the Grape Festival in Yadkinville and chose this Best Western because of the location. All of the employees were very nice. The entire property, inside and out, was very clean. My only complaint is how uncomfortable the bed was. It was way too firm. Other than that, it is a great place to stay.
This hotel is right off of I-77, but our hotel room was very quiet and we did not hear any traffic noise from the interstate. This was a good location for us since we were going to a wedding in the area. We stayed 2 nights. This hotel has interior halls and rooms are accessed from the inside. There is an outdoor pool which was closed for the season when we were there. The beds are queen size, which made sleeping with 2 in a bed more comfortable than a double bed. The room was clean, bathroom was clean. We had a mini-fridge which was perfect to keep our food in, and we also had a microwave in the room. The free wi-fi was good, although it would occasionally flake out, but came back right away. The free breakfast was good and served scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, yogurt, boiled eggs, raisin bread, bagels, butter, cream cheese, Belgian waffles that you made yourself by pouring in some batter to the waffle iron, juices, coffee, tea, milk. The staff were very helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others. If you have some extra time while in this area I would recommend Stone Mountain State Park in Roaring Gap, NC for hiking, picnicking, enjoying nature and it is free to get into.
Very quiet for being close to the interstate. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great beds. Breakfast had a good selection and was presented nicely. Would have been nice to have coffee available in the lobby during the day and evenings.
This property offers all the benefits a traveler hopes for, expects or wants! Location, service, cleanliness, amenities, friendly staff, great breakfast and very reasonable rates combine to make this property more than worthy of your consideration. I have stayed in Best Western properties as a leisure traveler more than 50 nights throughout 15 states over the course of the past 18 months and can say that, for me, this property ranks high in the top 5......even when compared to Best Western Plus properties!
On the trip home from Georgia (evacuation fron hurricane Matthew) we pulled in here about 9:30 at night. Had the sweetest woman greet us and assure us that there was a room available and she was more than accommodating. Hadn't stayed at a Best Western before but will certainly consider them in the future. Great stay, great service, and a very good breakfast (complimentary). Made for a really good, inexpensive stay.
Couldn't have had a better experience - spotlessly clean, friendly and professional staff, PET FRIENDLY (very important to us), easy on and off I-77. We were exhausted and delighted to find this absolutely super motel - slept like rocks and continued on the next AM awake and alert! WE WILL BE BACK!
We came to this area for my son's wedding. The location of hotel was very convenient. The service was good as well. We could relax and get ready for event. We did not use fitness center or pool but they were available for us.
Clean comfortable rooms...modern and up to date. Just off of Interstate 77, Cracker Barrel next door...north of Charlotte ,North Carolina...reasonable prices...a good value for todays interstate highway motels
I stayed at two different Best Westerns on my way from Connecticut to South Carolina. This one was more modern and had a little higher rate. Traveling with dogs means certain amenities are more important: a fridge, a microwave, good walking areas, easy access to outdoors: this had all. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the bonus is that there is a Cracker Barrel on the same property. Right off the highway for convenience.
Very comfortable stay ! Booked Deluxe Suite w/King Size bed, mini-fridge & microwave & separate seating area. Roomy. Comfy. Liked having separate sitting area w/wing chairs & love seat. 2 tv's. Very comfy King bed ! Best part ! Breakfast pretty good! Great sausage patties. Instant scrambled eggs, but not bad ! Liked that there was fresh bananas and yogurt. On-site washer/dryer appreciated. Long walk from suite room but still on premises ! Staff very courteous and attentive. Housekeeping was great ! Everyone cared if you were comfortable. Excellent location; easy on-off and easy to get everywhere.
Traveling along rt 81 from north to south this is a great place to stay ...lots of local wineries and a Cracker Barrel right next door with in walking distance ..... and the Golden arches are right up the street ....the rooms are clean and the management is friendly and willing to help any way they can ....we stay here every year and we never had an issue or concern .....
We had a nice stay. Very clean and better than most. The outside is not much to look at, but the inside is great. Nice seating area and Breakfast Dining Room. The king bed had good support and was firm, but not too firm. Large fridge, no microwave. Good ice machine. Bathroom was good. Two small bars of soap and a bottle of shampoo. Two bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. There was enough TP and it wasn't overly thin like many of the places we have stayed at recently. We ran the ac on the coldest with low fan. It was good enough, but we slept with very few blankets. I doubt it got below 72 in the room. The staff was friendly. Biggest problem was checking in. The computers were down. We had registered on my phone on the road with my debit card. We didn't have to pay until we got there and could cancel by 6pm. But because the computers were down it took 20 minutes to check in. After 10 hours on the road I was tired and cranky and just wanted a room. The free breakfast was nice. Fake eggs, the sausage patty was good. They had a lot of other choices. Yogurt bagels, cereal, waffles, toasts. Check out was a bit slow also as no one was at the counter. But it was just a few minutes wait. Good choice for the price.
Convenient to the Interstate - Above average staff and 'nice little touches' throughout the hotel. Very clean and friendly place to stay. Not the 'standard' hotel look. I would highly recommend it. Not many restaurants in the area though that serve wine or beer.
From the driveway, this hotel actually looks about half the size that it actually is because the second wing is completely hidden. It looked a little sad and dated when we drove up, but we had a good check-in and our room was exactly as promised. Room was very clean, maybe a little musty, but the AC unit helped with that. Breakfast was very substantial for a "complimentary" buffet, and the service was also good. Very convenient to many Yadkin Valley attractions. Two improvements I would recommend: It would be helpful to install thermostats in the rooms -- there was no way to control the AC temp, so we got a little cold at night. Secondly (and this goes for all hotels), think about adding some two-bed rooms with the accessible showers. My mom, who is 84, always asks for this but it is nearly impossible to find in most hotels if we want two beds. And we are an aging population...
A nice place to stay for that overnight stopover. Having a nice clean room with a free breakfast is had to beat for the reasonable price that you would pay. Having a friendly and helpful staff was nice too. This place is easy to get to from the interstate and is close to several eateries, especially walking across the entry way to a Cracker Barrel restaurant.
The hotel was easy to find right off the expressway. The employees were helpful and checked us in quickly. The breakfast was good and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The swimming pool was beautiful, we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool.
We are always in search of a clean, comfortable, affordable hotel to lay our heads for the night as a midway point to and from our annual trip to S. Carolina. This Best Western in Jonesville was exactly that! We got 2 queen beds ( not the doubles offered by many competitors) to sleep 2 adult parents and 2 college-age boys. Room was clean. Beds were comfy, sheets nice. Fridge in room. Free breakfast that was fresh and better than many. Just what we require as a mid-day stay over. We will stay here again!! Thank you!
I stayed here with 4 girlfriends for a winery touring and antiquing weekend. This hotel is perfectly located for our interests. Elkin is only about 2 miles and there was very little driving required. There's a Cracker Barrel just across the hotel's driveway...perfect for lunch! Staff members were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good and clean. Our room was comfortable. My only slight complaint was that the mattresses may need to be replaced soon. They were a bit hard. I like firm, but these were hard. The pool area is nice and private from streets. There are tables with umbrellas for eating outside if desired. We also gathered there in the evening for a drink and conversation.
I loved the location and accommodations for pets (i.e. yard space). Nice full breakfast in the morning. We felt very safe at this location. You can walk to the Cracker Barrell right next door. We will definitely stay here again! Very friendly staff.
If the area is where you want to spend the night this is in my opinion the best total deal around. The beds are comfortable the rooms and public areas clean and you get a decent breakfast included. The price I very fair if not even low compared to others in the area for a comparable room it is at least 25% lower. The Cracker Barrel is next door ant there are a few fast food places within a mile. My only complaint is that the tv is confusing as there is no proper listing in the room as to channel numbers. This is an important matter for any traveler so the can watch tv in an area where they have no idea of listings
I usually post up that we had a great experience. I contemplated sharing directly with the staff, but after thinking it over, there's nothing they could do. This hotel has an ownership/management issue. See it's not that the room was dirty- it was clean as a whistle- which is always my #1 concern. It wasn't that the staff was unfriendly - my #2- she was super! It really was that the condition and care of the property was lacking. Our carpet needed cleaning. The grass around the entire hotel was so long I was concerned about tics on my dogs. Finally, the pool was filthy, and had mold on the bottom. This can only mean one of three things - the maintenance team is gone, management doesn't care, or owners won't pay. We chose the hotel because it was "Pet Friendly 2015" but I didn't see any evidence of it. We did enjoy walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner. So, if you don't want to swim or need to walk hounds in safe place - this hotel is fine.
Great Experience, clean, very friendly, very accomodating staff. I had driven all night and arrived early at 8:00am. They gave me a SUPER EARLY checkin and did not force any extra charges - like many other hotels do because they know your tired and just want to get to bed !! Very refreshing to see that attitude still exists and is practiced at this hotel
requested pet free area and got room with pet dander, mold and mildew smells. It also was not clean. Desk clerk was very helpful, however, in helping us find another room in the hotel that was bearable. Would think again about reserving a room here again.
Room was over priced at 135 dollars and the breakfast had no variety and was very unappetizing. The bed was uncomfortable and room had a musty smell in it. Found hairs on the pillow and bathroom tub had hairs in it.
We stopped for an overnight here on our drive between PA and FL. What a pleasant surprise. Rooms were large, clean, and quiet. King bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast included eggs and sausage as well as pancakes. Friendly staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Will stay here again.
Clean, comfy big beds, delicious hot breakfast. Great customer service from the front desk staff. Yummy cookies and sweet tea upon check in. Overall, a great value for our one night stay and convenient to walk to Cracker Barrel through the parking lot. We would happily stay here again if we were passing through again.
Stayed her on our way back to Ohio the staff was VERY pleasant. Hotel was kept clean. Price is perfect for a family of 5. Room was a bit smaller but ok for one night. Hotel is not real modern inside could use an update but again clean. Large outside pool with fresh large clean towels to use was very nice for our kids. Breakfast was ok not a huge spread like most. Coffee cups are tiny and they don't offer flovered creamers. We have had better free breakfast but it did its job. There is smoking rooms and pet friendly rooms but you couldn't tell which is a major plus! The Cracker Barrel is right nect door do you can walk right over ehich is also nice.
We were met with a very nice lady at the desk. Had no problem because we had a service dog. Room was clean and not smelly like some rooms when you have an animal. There was a restaurant close so we could pop over and back without leaving our animall too long. We had a good night sleep in the very nice beds in the room. Left refreshed in the morning.
The staff was amazing, friendly and cheerful. The room was just as described and very clean. The internet was slow but we were only there overnight so it was sufficient. The full breakfast was good with options for the whole family.
This was a great stop for a tired traveler. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Room was cozy. Breakfast was well laid out and convenient. I will definitely stay here again. Didn't have a chance to check out the pool. Will next time!
The hotel was in a very quiet location, so that helped get a great nights sleep. The bed was very comfortable; I liked the pillows which helped me sleep well in a "new" place. I would recommend this place for leisure travellers for sure.
One of the best Hotels/Motels we have ever stayed at while traveling without reservations. We were hauling a Harley Davidson on a open trailer on the back of our vehicle and the check in desk clerk went out of her way to ensure we could park in a safe secure spot. The room was spacious, clean and immaculate. Comfortable beds came with a hard pillows and soft pillows, a very nice touch. Bathrooms were large and very clean. The hot breakfast served in their dining room had many options and everything was fresh and cooked excellently. I can not find a single fault with this establishment from the people who work there to the Inn itself. Our stay was outstanding and I can not think of a better place we have ever stayed at for less then $100. Simply an outstanding place to spend a night or more.
I always stay at this hotel as it is high way to my destination and is pet friendly. It offers a good free breakfast and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. The only problem I experienced was a closed pool due to some maintenance problems.
We travel from WV to FL a few times a year. This is a nice property for our overnight stay. Pet friendly. Nice gifts for us and our dog at check in. We would stay here again. Nice area to walk the dog of the evening.
Stopped here last night after a long day driving. The desk clerk was very friendly and we got a lively room with two queen size beds. We have a small dog so we needed a pet friendly room. After we were settled in we noticed the room had a stale urine smell. It was late so we just decided to deal. When I checked our I informed the desk clerk and she just said "oh". No apology. The room was not cheap. With discount and pet fee it was $107. Otherwise hotel was nice, clean and good breakfast.
Clean room and convenient location. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the dining area was clean, organized and cheerful with a very pleasant server to assist with your needs.
Traveling Florida to Ohio stop in between what a great place to stay free breakfast clean clean did I mention clean rooms great staff fridge and tv comfortable lots of parking close to stores and eateries
This is a very comfortable hotel and it is a stone's throw off interstate I-77. Exit the highway and it's right there. The beds and pillows are amazing. The rate includes a full continental breakfast ( sausage patties, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, bagels etc.) Outdoor pool wasn't open yet. Good selection of quality restaurants close by. AND, the staff there is amazing, second to none. For the older folks or the handicapped, there is an elevator to the second floor. We stay there twice a year, going and coming to Florida. Good good place.
Liked the size of the room the beds were a full versus a queen. The couch was not a pull out. It was nice to have a separate space for sleeping. The beds were a little hard for my personal liking. The breakfast was nice and hot in the morning. I am glad that it ran until 9:30 because we did not arrive until 2 in the morning. This was a quick stop on the way home from Florida.
I've been stopping here overnight for 3 years s I travel between Pennsylvania and Florida visiting family. It has one of the largest breakfast areas of any BW so you are not bumping into each other. It's situated within walking distance to Cracker Barrel. This is a plus for me. After driving 7 hours I like parking the car once and not driving to a restaurant and back for dinner. There isn't much around it but it's a great stop for overnight.
On our return trip from Florida we decided to stay at the Yadkin Valley Best Western. Entering the lobby you have a nice first impression of the hotel. I found the room a bit dated. The carpet looked soiled and was an older commercial type. The chairs at the table were wobbly. My bed was not comfortable and the sheets were a bit scratchy. I would say an adequate hotel for one night with the price being about $100.
Been staying here for quite a few years on our return trip home. The quality is always consistently the same, excellent! The breakfasts are always good and start early and end late. Staff is consistently well groomed and helpful.
This is a modestly priced hotel, but it is very clean with a caring staff. It was perfect for a weekend when we were attending Merlefest. 30 minutes to the site. The breakfast looked just fine, but we opted for the Cracker Barrel next door.
The Best Western-Yadkin Valley in Jonesville is what you would probably expect. The service is quite good and the staff are all quite pleasant. Our suite was quite comfortable with an excellent bed. The only downer is the complementary breakfast. It is in need of a serious upgrade, especially the coffee!
Our son passed away not far from this hotel, at a Hospice House. The staff, front desk , house keeping could not have been more caring. There was a music fest close by this hotel and they were booked up for the last night we need to stay ,someone got us a room.
Stopped here on our way back to central NH ( snowbirds) this hotel is so far advanced than any we have stayed at we were taken back!! We make this trip every year both ways and wish we could find more like this !! we spend 3 nights each way , so we have many hotel stays under our belt ! THIS IS THE BEST !
My sister and I were traveling from Georgia up to Pa and needed a break from driving and encountering so many traffic delays so we called AAA and asked for help in finding a hotel that was pet friendly. When we arrived, the clerk was so very friendly and helpful. My sister was so impressed with the room and how clean it was. She was even more impressed the next morning when we went to have breakfast. She had not traveled in years and did not expect to see such great offerings!! My only complaint was that being on the first floor that when someone went outside to smoke, the smell drifted in when they came back in with such force we were choking. This happened when we were going to breakfast and also packing up the car to leave.
Room was very nice, when we walked in, it was very clean and cheer full .When we checked in the clerk was very nice and help full .Coffee and cookies were their for a quick break from the road,.Plenty of places close by to go out to dinner .
I try to always stay at Best Western when traveling. This location was exceptional. Super clean, friendly staff, wonderful rooms I don't know what more I could ask for. Staff was very helpful with my questions. My requested room was near the lobby and breakfast room and yet it was very quiet.
Convenient, pleasant stop on the annual pilgrimage from Ontario to Florida. Handy restaurants, good breakfast, fast and friendly service. Good stop half way between Ontario and Florida and avoids major city rush hours.
Have stayed here several times and never disappointed. Manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is immediately off 77 so easy off, easy on. We have recommended this Hotel to our friends that are heading north.
The only complaint I have is it took for ever to get checked in and then they didn't offer me the express check out which they do have. As a matter of fact I was told I have to stop by the front desk to check out. Other than that its a nice hotel for the age of the building and in a very relaxing area of NC.
We stayed one night at the Best Western based on reviews of motels within 20 miles of Jonesville. What a positive treat. Great staff and clean motel. Easy to get to off I-77 and noise from the interstate is blocked by a hill between the motel and the interstate. Breakfast menu includes eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt and other breakfast fare. 98% Dept of Health rating during our visit. Great value compared to other big name motels in the Jonesville area.
Have stayed at this establishment every year for threes years. Never had any complaints. Very friendly and courteous staff. Very caring with a personnel touch. Always look forward to staying each time we travel through the area.
I will not lie - I did not stay at this hotel on the date indicated as my plans changed a few weeks before my trip. I thought I had cancelled this reservation, but apparently I did not and paid the price of an unused room. That's my fault. However, I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years and it is one of our favourite stops on the way to/from Florida. There has never been a time when we have not received excellent service - even a year ago when I messed up a booking for the wrong date, but the manager assisted in fixing this mixup without it costing me a dime. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying overnight or for an extended stay. My marks of "excellent" are NOT an exaggeration.
We decided to stop here on our trip home from Florida. What a great experience. Great staff, very clean, modern, comfortable room. Bed was wonderful, no noise and great breakfast. Right next door to Cracker Barrel so you don't even have to drive around looking for a r.estaurant for dinner. We will return on our next trip
This hotel had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It was clean, staff were friendly and beds were very comfortable. There was a Cracker Barral Restaurant next door which made it easy to have a bite after a long drive.
Great place to stay and it being across the road from Cracker Barrell was very helpful. Clean and friendly staff. Nice breakfast area. Easy check and check out. We had 3 room for us and family and they were able to check us into 3 years when we arrived early.
Hotel is well located with several special perks: Kuerig coffee in the evening, spacious rooms, and very nice hot breakfast. Stay here , you won't be disappointed! If you enjoy wine, the location is close to several winery's in the area.
Driving back to Ontario from Florida we found the hotel a perfect rest stop...quiet and very comfortable, just off the Interstate. Sorry there wasn't more time to explore the vineyards and had it been a little warmer we would have used the pool!
Convenient location off the highway, but still quiet. Next to Cracker Barrel for dinner, While outside may look a little dated, the inside is renovated and clean. Rooms have white bed covers, bathroom counter is granite, room looks fresh. Breakfast included eggs and sausage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice experience for overnight stay. Good value; less expensive than Charlotte highway hotels.
Friendly and helpful check in. Great lobby and breakfast area. Room clean and nice with everything in place. Looks and feels very comfortable. Good location off of I77 with a Cracker Barrel next door and other convenience stores and fast food close by. I was travelling alone and had to stop over due to snow forecast, but and I felt very safe.
Heading to GA needed a Pet friendly /excellent value especially with added free breakfast hotel was clean" a must "Hotel staff was very friendly and professional . excellent pit stop for the night and easy access to I77 in less then 5 minutes
very nice and very dog friendly. nice employees and very helpful. Assisted when we inquired about where to eat. She advised us that the Cracker barrel had pickup and they were next door. I walked across the way to the restaurant and in 5 minutes had a meal I took to our room. room was very clean and the whole hotel was very well taken care of. Checkout was very quick also. We recommend this hotel very highly.
I don't know who wrote these reviews and even if they are true reviews as I personally can say this Best Western is outdated ,dirty and it was very disappointing after a long day. Chairs disgusting, bed shirts even worse. Beds not comfortable at all. Stay away.
The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The bed, TV, internet, size of the room with refrigerator and microwave made the stay very homey. The staff was professional and friendly. They offered special touches of hospitality like snacks and ease of check-in. Very affordable. For the price this hotel surpassed my expectations.
On our way to Florida, we needed a pet-friendly hotel so we decided to stop at Best Western. Although the hotel may appear outdated it was clean, priced well and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would use this hotel again on our way to Florida.
Stayed here on 26th of December while heading to Florida. Friendly and fast check in. Room was clean, freshly updated with good crisp modern tv. Wifi was good. Rooms were quiet and everything worked. Heater/air was a little noisy but worked well. Check internet for esaver rate. Will stay again!
We stayed one night. The minute we entered, we knew it would be pleasant. Clean and good hospitality. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. We were offered a discount because there was a hole and dirt on one towel. The only thing that bothered me, was the odor of breakfast that woke me at 6.00, but evething else was perfect
Outstanding service, clean rooms , great breakfast, quiet atmosphere. Truly relaxing. A giant thank you to all the staff for making this a restful stop over on the holiday . Even the dog had a great time. Was remembered by the staff with a treat upon arrival.
This was a very quiet hotel, clean rooms, comfy bed and friendly staff. We had our bikes with us and didn't want to leave them on the back of the car. They allowed us to take them to our room. There is a Cracker Barrel right next door and after riding in the car all day it was nice to be able to walk to dinner. I highly reccomend this hotle
We stayed here on the way to Atlanta since it was a good resting point. The rooms were clean although it wasn't the most comfortable bed but it was decent. All of the staff was so friendly and the front desk girl on check-in was fabulous. The free breakfast was decent too. We would have stayed her on the return trip but we took a different route. Definitely worth the money and it is convenient to the highway.
Decent, reasonable place to stay with your pet. The only thing I missed was an in room microwave for snacks. But, the hotel offers several take out restaurants very nearby It was a quiet, relaxing experience overall.
We were so impressed with this hotel that we purposely stayed here again on our trip home from Florida. Rates are mid-range. Upon check-in, you're provided with a small snack bag which came in very handy on our drive the next day. The room was excellent. Cracker Barrel is next door and we walked to it, but they also have a great breakfast selection in the hotel as well.. There is also a sign out front that states this hotel is motorcycle friendly (perfect for us!). I saved their business card so I won't forget to reserve there on our next FL trip.
Over all this is a nice hotel and the staff are very friendly. The price was high for a hotel out in the middle of nowhere. we had to stay here due to the Furniture convention going on in Winston Salem it was a hour away from where we were working.
Each year , on our way south from Ontario , Canada , to Florida , the Jonesville NC Best Western has the Friendliest Staff , who remember you from a year back , when one stayed there last ! This is ... just like coming Home ...!!!
I was really impressed with the room.bed was excellent, wanted to bring it home with me.staff was very helpful and friendly.the whirlpool was large and cozy as was the room that it was in.decorated very nicely.
What I liked about this hotel is it's pet-friendly with a reasonable fee, it's right off 77, easily found, it's clean and fairly quiet even though the highway is close and it feels safe, even in the dead of night. Good walking-the-dog property too. We'll be back again.
The people there made you feel at home and were very friendly. They went out of their way to help me find a place for a friend to stay on a Saturday night so that they could come to my son's wedding in N.C. BUT, our air conditioner would not work properly so it kept me up all night cutting off then on for about 3 minutes at a time. Too HOT to sleep!
I have stayed at this location several times. Not once, did I feel unwelcome in any way. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent for the value. Location off the interstate is superb. We will definitely stay here again.
Had a very nice, clean, large room and the price was very good using a hotel coupon book. Very nice clean lobby and breakfast area. Free breakfast had a nice variety, and presentation. The hotel is very convenient to Interstate 77 with easy off/on access. We were traveling and stopped to have dinner at a Cracker Barrel that's right next door, and realized there was a coupon in the hotel book for this Best Western, and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed, and would definitely stay here again, if in the area. Was also happy to see that they recycle, and had notices and containers for guests to use.
The hotel team was able to move our date ahead by one day on 1/2 day notice. My wife had an accident 2 days earlier, and we had to leave early. She uses a cane to walk. I didn't ask for a special room. We got put at the end of a hall on the 2nd floor. My bad. But, the place was sold out. I found that the rear door pass key unit was broken which forced us to use the long hallway. The mini fridge was noisy (froze), a lamp was w/o a bulb, and a bulb was burned out. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Very clean comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and professional. Can take pets and has many areas of grass convenient for my pet. Lots of restaurants close by. Convenient location for us. Would recommend it to anyone.
Even with all the extra people in town, both check in and check out time was minimal. the very profesional staff made our stay very enjoyable. we stay here on business and always feel very rested when we leave. we will continue to stay here every time we come to town.
Best Western in Jonesville, NC is a good place to stay. Staff are friendly and professional and the facility has pet friendly rooms. Although the room rates seem a little pricey, it is conveniently located off I-77. Staff are friendly and professional.
I stayed one night here on my way home. The desk clerk made me feel welcomed immediately, offering helpful advice and complimentary apple cider. My king room on the second floor was very clean and well furnished. Since I'm a reader I especially liked the bright lighting. My room fridge had 2 complimentary bottles of water. Breakfast was good, typical Best Western fare. Good location, walking distance to Cracker Barrel, and easy access to I 77.
First vacation in many years. This was a one night stop towards our destination. The staff was very friendly. The area was very quiet and peaceful. It was the right place at the right time for our needs.
Great room, great location of the property. We had the first room down the hall which I thought was going to be a problem bc it was so close to the lobby. It was not. It was a great stay at a reasonable price. Also we left our pillows and didn't discover this until we were well down the road. We called and Janki took great care to make sure the pillows were sent UPS. They arrived in two days as promised. Thanks so much.
Nice place to stay, great rates, friendly staff easy on and off of the interstate. Great breakfast. Some great restaurants near by. We were treated as if we had stayed there before and the staff took care of our needs in finding a good place to eat that evening.
There are 3 hotels in the immediate area. I usually choose Comfort Inn but the hotel was booked. This by far is the best choice for value and quality of service. The hotel staff and amenities were excellent. Will visit again when in the area.
We checked into a king handicapped accessible suite on 9/23/2015. The front desk staff was great. I found a dead bug - perhaps a beetle or a weevil? I showed it to the front desk and was asked if we wanted to move to another room. I said no, as long as it was dead, I could handle it. We went out for dinner. When we got back and pulled back the covers, we found a clump of human hair and dead bug parts on the sheets. We wheeled our luggage to the front desk - they apologized profusely and gave us key cards to a jacuzzi room at half price. The front desk called shortly after we got into the room to find out if it was suitable. I had just finished pulling back the covers and said that the room appeared to be okay. As soon as I hung up the phone, my husband said, "Look at this!" He was watching a black bug (cockroach?) crawl around the bathtub. I continued looking around the room and found more bugs crawling around. We wheeled our luggage back out to the front desk and told her what we found. She said she would refund our money and again apologized profusely. She said they had recently had the property sprayed. I will be checking my credit card statement for a refund. We ended up driving 10 miles down the road to stay at a more expensive hotel, but at least it was bug free.
The service was fantastic! The room was clean, the bed slept very well and the cleaning staff did a great job. Everyone was so helpful. We had a minor maintenance issue which was handled quickly by the service technician. We really appreciated the Keurig coffee maker in the lobby each evening. This hotel is VERY pet frinedly Stay here if you can.
