Best Western Oceanfront

We had the best time at this hotel! Clean, cost effective and great location! We loved breakfast and afternoon cookies! Staff was helpful and wonderful. Room was always cleaned and replenished. We have stayed twice and will stay again! Thank you for a great family Vaca!

We were here for 2 nights during very rainy weather. We could see the beach from our oceanfront room but never actually made it to the beach so we can't comment on that. The hotel is convenient to eateries and St Augustine (35 minutes). It looks like the rooms were very recently done and the decor was very nice and modern. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Safe in room as well as a fridge and coffee. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Parking is below the hotel and $12+ tax per night.

First and last time at this Best Western. The room was musty, the bathroom floor and towles would not dry, and the bed coverings had so many stains and pubic hair on them. My pillow had very long brown hair that was obviously not mine because I have very short hair. I went to tell the person at the desk, but when she looked up from her phone like I had really annyoed and bothered her, I felt intimidated and just went back to my room. I was worried that had I asked to change rooms, there would either not be one available, OR it would have been just as dirty.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff (Katie!) was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was so comfy and the ocean view from our balcony was spectacular! The free breakfast was the best free we've ever had. Yummy scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy and more. We'll definitely be coming back.

Awesome beach view! Traveled all the way through Florida and this was the best view. Stayed up listening to waves and woke up early and walked the beach. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, room was quiet and comfortable and water pressure was great, finally! Thanks for a great stay.

This was an excellent location for beach access, shopping and food. The parking was easy to get in and out of. Comp breakfast was good and had extended hours so you were able to sleep in. Rooms were quiet and nicely decorated.

This BW is beachfront and has ocean access. The staff is accommodating and there is parking available for a slight surcharge. Internet connection was great, rooms were clean and there was a free hot breakfast, although the breakfast area was small.

The entire hotel has been recently with the exterior painting in progress while we were there. The rooms were comfortable, beds, and pillows as well. Hotel was quiet while in an area that has a lot going on. Easy check in with ample staff on hand. Beach was clean, close to the pier, great restaurants and a great mix of people. We are seniors that used to live just north of this hotel and we were impressed. We will definitely be back with friends and family in the area. Also, this is only a 3 story hotel, so it is really small compared to many other options at the beach.

All the staff was very kind and Bella was very helpful to me and I appreciated her making sure I got the best possible rate. The room I stayed in (303) wasn't oceanfront or ocean view, but was very nice, updated (loved the big walk in shower), the room was very clean and everything looked fresh. Breakfast was good with a variety of breakfast choices.

My wife and I spent one great day and night at the Best Western Oceanfront In Jacksonville, FL. It was one of the best lodging experiences. We had a full view of the ocean and a direct path to the beach. The hotel pool was smalls but refreshing. After a night in a very comfortable bed we were greeted with a variety of hot and cold options for breakfast. There is a small cost for the secure parking.

Located on the beach in a perfect location . Amenities are perfect, Breakfast exceptional and cookies in the afternoon for a little afternoon delight! Parking convenient and safe. Staff professional and polite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My go to home while visiting my son at college

Room was nice and clean. The price to stay at the hotel was a bit high in my opinion and then to pay for parking for small spaces where your vehicle may or may not fit (while also worrying about other vehicles damaging yours by opening doors.) The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds in my opinion were very comfortable and the pillows were amazing if you like the balance between soft and firm.

Great location! Walking distance to beach, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was basic, but did have multiple options. Breakfast buffet was fresh and clean. Hotel rooms were clean and up-to-date. The beds are a little small but doable fresh cookies in the afternoon front staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend to stay here.

Very convenient location to beach access. There are also gift shops next door, and places to eat within walking distance. The rooms are nice, and very friendly staff. Parking spots are a little tight, and you have to pay extra to park (that is the only downside). When we go the Jax beach, this is where we will always stay!

The entire staff was friendly and efficient . However , the room has a very loud air conditioner . The bath has an extremely loud fan that comes on with the light as they are controlled by one switch . The lobby / breakfast area is quite shabby .For what they are charging for rooms the parking should be free , not $10 + per night .The breakfast was ok , pretty standard food .

Super friendly staff. They signed me up to get a coupon for next stay at any best western without me even asking. I'm excited to use it next week in SC. Room was clean and comfy. Didn't have time to check out the pool or eat breakfast. We were just passing through and were surprised to be able to book a hotel on the beach for the same price as others in town that weren't on the beach. Would like to go back and enjoy the location a little more. Only issue we had was that the shower did not drain properly. Didn't even let anyone know, as we were literally only there over night. Had asked to check out late incase we slept in. Ended up leaving by normal check out, but we're told checking out an hour late was no problem. I would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay! Staff was friendly and very welcoming! Clean facility. Beautiful views and very convenient location! We would definitely consider staying again if we were back in the area!

Staff was helpful and very polite. I would have preferred to have been given a chance to have a room with an ocean view and not have looked at the traffic and heard it all night. Room was clean, but small and we were in the very corner of the hotel with absolutely no view. There appeared to be ocean front rooms available. Had I know that I did not have one, I would have asked for it or stayed elsewhere

Hotel is in a good location for the beach and restaurants; staff was friendly and great. Room is just very small, the bathroom door will hit someone who may be near the refrigerator. Liked that it had a microwave and refrigerator; room was clean and everything worked.

I stayed here with my family since I had an appointment at Mayo Clinic. I used my free reward for being a BW rewards member. The hotel and rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There are bars and restaurants within walking distance that are open late so there is a little noise later in the evening but it's not too bad. Breakfast started at 7am and they had a pretty nice spread. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, bagels, muffins, pastries, juices and more- I wasn't able to try the food since I had a surgery and couldn't eat (and my family didn't get to try it because we had to leave just as breakfast opened) it smelled good though!

I was pleasantly surprised to see that somethings so affordable, located on the ocean, what is available for my stay in Jacksonville Beach. I will absolutely stay here again in the future! Clean rooms, and great service!

This hotel was great for the price we paid. Rooms are updated, comfortable and very clean. Our balcony had a lovely ocean view, we could here the birds and the surf. Brand new sliding door, clear clean glass. Bed was very comfortable. Microwave and fridge in room. Big newer TV with direct tv stations (no netflix). Staff was very friendly and helpful, Breakfast area is small, but they fit in a very good selection of hot and cold items. Parking fee is $10, and parking is right under the hotel, so very handy. They even bake hot cookies in the evening, Nice! Pool looked inviting, but was too cold to use in January, wish they had a hot tub. Close to the Fishing pier, and you get half off the pier walker cost if you show your room key. . I would definitely stay here again.

When we are able to get away, this is a favorite spot and our favorite place! Always friendly, easy to walk to the beach or our favorite food and beverage spots. We are pretty disappointed if there are no rooms available.

Beds and pillows are cozy. Quiet rooms, nice view of the ocean with the city view room! Nice private deck off of room. Great location with a lot to do by foot. Ocean is right outside the hotel! A block from all the city main events.

We were originally going to stay just one night in this hotel in Jacksonville the stay in Edgewater for the rest of our trip. We liked the room and the staff so we decided to stay for the rest of our trip for 4 nights

In town for the football game. Great place to stay for the weekend. Just a short drive to the stadium. Beautiful view of ocean from our room. Everything was very clean and updated. The breakfast was the perfect start to our day with several choices. Will come back the next time we are in town.

Nice hotel, room configuration was a little odd but it was up-to-date and comfortable. Great staff all over. Breakfast was nice including good eggs and crispy bacon. Located near a ton of bars, stores, restaurants, etc. I assume it's nuts here during spring break. The beach view was great. Sat on our balcony and watched people go by.

We found a location, food, electric charging station for our car, and staffing well worth the price. We enjoyed a two day stay and will be returning in the future if the rates remain as they are currently. However if you are a two car family, know that you allowed one parking space per reservation (there is Public parking nearby)

Needs to follow through with what employee tells guests. Was given one rate with taxes and charged another. Breakfast food that should have been hot was luke warm at best. Will not be returning to this hotel again.

Hotel has been updated Room was ok nothing special. We had an ocean view room. There is only one elevator and it was a walk to our room . Front desk was very nice Beds were comfortable. Only gave us one soap and wash cloth. We had to go to front desk for items that should of been in the room

We loved our balcony room. It was clean and well designed. We were there for a wedding. There are many places to eat within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a wide variety to choose from.

Affordable beachfront hotel. Updated recently; felt like a new hotel. Next to the beach. Small swimming pool was open in October, and was comfortable to get in at this time of year. No hot tub, which was disappointing, but for the price, the hotel is a bargain for a beachfront hotel.

Very nice place, felt secure too. Only thing was didnt know ahead pay to park. We could easily walk to shopping (which isnt much there). Beach is right there, small boardwalk walking area, food and bars close. Breakfast had great variety and clean. All staff helpful and nice and room was comfortable too

I absolutely love this hotel. When I come into Jacksonville I always try to stay here. The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the beds are amazing! You are steps away from the beach and several restaurants and entertainment options.

I chose this hotel, because my friend is a VIP member for Best Western. I was hesistant about it because I normally stay at other Hotel Chains, but I wanted to be close to my friend. I must say, it was a decent hotel. It's a small hotel with only one elevator. It's really close to the beach. The contential breakfast was really good, especially, the waffles. If you are trying to save money and stay at a decent hotel near the beach, Best Western Beachfront is the way to go. I only gave it 4 stars because of the one elevator thing and the rooms were okay.

We are from Georgia and had to come down for a doctors appointment for my husband. When we arrived the lady at the counter was one of the nicest people I have ever met. The location was perfect and the rooms were very clean and big. My husband and I will definitely be back in a few wks for his procedure and we will be bringing 2 of the kids with us. We can't wait!

I have stayed there in the past and knew the rooms were comfortable and clean, andgreatlocation. This year after remodel, beyond impressed with updates, cleanliness and friendly staff were great as well. Only place I'll stay when visiting Jacksonville Beach area.

Very friendly, polite staff. The location is the wonderful. The proximity to the beach is the best on the strip. There's security at night although it doesn't feel needed. There's souvenir shops across the street. Walking distance to food and fun.

Staff was great. Room Clean. Great location. Breakfast was great. Place was quiet. Liked that there was a restroom downstairs, so we didn't have to go to our rooms from the beach. Walked to eat dinner and visit small shops.

enjoyed staying at this hotel. the place is clean. the complimentary breakfast has about anything you could want. there were scrambled eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy, and bacon alternating with sausage patties every other day. there is a waffle machine with fruit toppings to pick from, as well as fresh fruit, bagels, pastries, muffins, yogurt, oats, cereal, various teas, and coffee, etc. seating is limited if you come later in the morning. the whole hotel looks like it has been painted and modernized. i slept better here and felt safer here than i do in my own home and home town.

This was the worse stay ever we felt so unsafe because police were all over at night and people we'll around the hotel no one at the front desk. I will not stay here again, it was horrible didn't even ask us how our night was or anything

This hotel is gross. The sheets are cheap. The furniture is old, worn, and cracked. Everything was pretty dirty with mold on the ceiling as well. Do not stay here. The quality is extremely poor……………….

The hotel was very clean and all of the staff that I encountered were friendly and very helpful. The beach was just a few steps away from the hotel. There were a number of bars in the immediate area to visit.

The hotel was unassuming and in a perfect location. The lobby was small and under construction, but when we got up to the floor for our room we were pleasantly surprised. We were able to walk to a few different restaurants for meals and the beach was right behind the hotel which provided a full afternoon of fun.

This was my first time staying in an oceanfront hotel. The location was great in proximity to the beach, everything in the area such as restaurants and entertainment were in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again

This hotel and staff have set the Bar so very high in the quality of service, girl appearance and functionality offered, and the quality of their offers offered complimentary buffet style breakfast menu that I must say out do the entire hotel industry... Everything there's people do in regards to this hotel from guest services, house keeping, sincerity, professionalism, issues and resolution techniques, day to day appearance and up keep of the ground and structure, etc.. is done properly, punctually, passionately and with the intentions of providing their guests with the most memorable and exciting experiences for years to come! Hands down best hotel I've stayed with so far, and I've stayed at every known hotel chain to mankind, and they are on point and a breathe of fresh air!!

I'm always comfortable staying here. It's right on the beach and within walking distance of plenty. They offer a small breakfast to get the day started, so my grand boys love coming here for our annual grand baby Beach trip. A little pricey for the small space but it works for me being able to spend time with my grand's. Beware of parking fee. They've never charged it before but this visit I was surprised with it at check in, which left a sour taste in my experience to be honest.

This hotel was convenient, clean, and comfortable. The location is right on the beach with adequate parking. The staff was nice and recommended a great seafood restaurant. The beds were so comfortable, maybe even more than my bed at home. The breakfast was delicious and the facility/rooms were clean. I would stay here any time I was in Jacksonville. Highly recommend.

Fabulous direct ocean view from balcony. Was able to bring breakfast back to the room and sit out on the balcony. The hotel is doing repairs, but the staff was amazing. Breakfast was good with a nice circular set up in the lobby. Great stay!

Location was awesome. The ladies that was working overnight were very friendly and courteous. Rooms are very clean, even while in the process of renovations. Definitely will be back. Beach access.....awesome!

This hotel has some of the best Customer Service I have experienced. The staff is super patient, helpful and resourceful. They are in the middle of remodeling the hotel and yet, they maintain a fairly clean and pleasant environment. The bed was super comfy and the room stayed crisp and cool. The room offered a refrigerator and microwave. I was able to store some groceries and they stayed fresh and cold. They offer Wi-Fi and Direct TV, so you have quite a range of options for TV entertainment. Closely located to the beach, you are literally within a few feet of the beach. They offer a decent breakfast of hot or cold (i.e. cereal, oatmeal, fruit, bakery items, etc..). Overall easy access to enter and exit parking area as well as street access. Definitely would stay here again in the future and highly recommend as option for a hotel stay.

Right off the beach great hotel parking as long as you have your as you have your pass in the windshield. Great local vibes With some decent choices nearby for restaurants and shopping. Perfect for Any type of vacation

We had a very pleasant time at the Best Western Oceanfront. The front desk staff was very helpful and very nice. We also really liked the breakfast each morning. The hotel has some renovation going on, but they do a good job letting people know. The hotel is very close to get on the beach. You basically walk out on a little boardwalk and there you are with the surfers and beach volleyball players- and the beautiful ocean! That was very convenient. We would stay there again in the future.

Out of all the hotels I have been to this past week, I told my friend that the Best Western was the finale of the trip. The room was like heaven. This was definitely a treasure of a hotel. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were so clean. The breakfast was hot and healthy too. Beautiful view from my room too! Just what I needed while on vacation.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything great about JAX Beach. Beach, restaurants, bars it's all here. Everything is within walking distance. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is just steps away from the beach. The pool is super tiny so don't expect to spend some real time there. But that's ok with the beach right there. The area is very safe with lots of things to do and restaurants. The parking lot accommodates only one vehicle. So my sister had to park across the street in a public lot. Her car was safe and we had no issues. The rooms are clean. The beds were OMG COMFORTABLE! Like I wanted to steal a pillow. I came home and ordered a pillow because they were so comfortable. Best night's sleep I've had in awhile. The bathroom was very clean. We were happy with the room. It had a fridge and microwave. The walls are sound proof. We didn't hear neighbors or anything. We had breakfast down in the lobby and the selection was good. They had waffles, pastries, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereal, coffee, juices, eggs, sausage, gravy, fresh fruit. The staff was beyond friendly. Really liked Katie and the night shift girl, long-haired blonde, whose name I didn't catch, but they were so helpful and friendly. We felt very safe here and we enjoyed our breakfast and good night sleep and the showers too. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is all about location and staff. They have a fabulous top notch staff and great location. But that's it, the hotel is in dire need of some maintenance and repair. It was pretty bad and obvious it's been let go over the years and not maintained which is a shame.

Three story hotel that has seen better days, however plans are in the works to improve its appearance. Oceanfront Hotel has a great view, really good breakfasts. Floors were dirty and needed vacuuming in the worst way. The beds were very comfortable.

Motel on the Beach with free parking. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Friendly and Courteous Staff. Amenities include pool, WiFi, and breakfast. We stayed in an oceanfront room that provided unobstructed views of the beach. Easy Check-in and Check-out.

Arrived a little early and had a nice chat with Jessa. She told me to come back in half an hour so I took a nice stroll on the beach and boardwalk. When I returned, she had given us an upgrade to a balcony room. Room was nice, clean and big. Met some nice fellow guests. The town of Jax Beach had a beautiful lights display, they decorated the lifeguard chairs. So cool and one block from the hotel. The included breakfast was very good. The biscuits were amazing. Definitely would stay here again.

I booked directly with Best Western quite a while in advance with a non-refundable reservation so I could get an ocean view per my request. Didn't get it. Disappointed. Close to a lot of shops, and dining, but we were there for only X-mas days, so the shops were closed. Not BW's fault. A lot to do close-by, and beach access is nice too.

I came from a few states away to visit the beach with friends. We arrived way too early, and decided to hit the beach before check-in. We parked at the hotel, spoke with the staff to inform them of my early arrival. They took down my information to contact me when the room was ready to allow me to check in early. We spent the day on the beach, then checked in early. The hotel is located right next to a beach entrance. There's an extremely convenient public beach shower and restrooms immediately next to the hotel. We walked everywhere. There are great shops and restaurants all around the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and sociable. The water pressure was great in the sink and shower. Free breakfast had hot eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Waffle maker. Cereal. Fruit. Muffins. Bagels. Apple and orange juices and coffee. Beds were super comfy and clean. Random black light thing by the bed to scan for stains I suppose. We had a good laugh at its expense. Beds were stain free! Lol.

Clean hotel, stellar staff, a great breakfast. Accommodating maid service. 30 steps and you are on the sandy beach right next to a long pier. Volley ball next to hotel to watch. Fishermen on the beach. Great ocean area for swimming.

We were disappointed with this Best Western. The pool is basically between the road and the parking lot. Technically, it is oceanfront but it definitely doesn't feel like an oceanfront hotel. The hotel website advertises a 'great view' but most rooms have no view. Our room looked at a neighboring building about 6 feet away. The rooms are basic, painted grey and quite depressing. Not a welcoming vibe for the beach.

The whole hotel is totally remodeled. The people are really helpful and nice. The bed was comfy and the beach was right outside. So much within walking distance. Can't beat the cost for the location and amenities. The one and only thing I would say negative is the smell I think that the ac made was a little funky but we became nose blind to it and it obviously wasn't enough to make us complain vocally about it.

If your looking for simple relaxation, peace and quite yet in the center of many amenities walking distance this is most definitely the place! The staff was absolutely down to earth and actually spoke with you, the breakfast was fresh, hot and clean area. And the beds, omgoodness like sleeping on a cloud! Highly recommend then to anyone!!

It's good hotel nothing fancy but up-to-date clean with friendly and helpful staff and nice pool area and you can walk right across the back to the beach. It is right in the middle of the beach area of Jax Beach so you really can't beat it for the location and it's not as fancy as some of the other ones out there but well worth the money

The room was nice and comfortable. The beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. The staff was friendly and helpful. Did have a toilet issue which was addressed by the staff. The girl taking care of breakfast was friendly and helpful and helping us find what we need. She kept everything full and available and was very pleasant!

Great location, very nice rooms, very nice people at the front desk. We plan on making this our new go to when in the area. We were very pleased with everything. The pool is on the small side but we came for the beach anyway.

Good- Our oceanfront room offered wonderful views of the ocean, boardwalk and pier. The pier is currently under construction but it was nice seeing the cranes in action. There are multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance. John at the front desk was very helpful; he delivered towels and cups to our room in a timely fashion. No problems with parking or WiFi during our visit. Bad- Guests must walk through a gate with missing bars to enter the hotel premises from the boardwalk. Our room with double beds was extremely small for 4 people. The room smelled of mold, layers of dust was on the walls and light fixtures. The carpet was spoiled and cups where still under the tv console left from the previous guests. The telephone, light fixture, tv remote, and clock all were broken and/or did not work. Housekeeping gave 3 towels and 1 plastic cup for 4 guests in the room. Thankfully, John helped us with that. Bring a tie back for the curtain leading to the balcony for easier access and for coffee drinkers, a mug. Coffee cups and regular coffee were not available during our stay. Breakfast was available with our package but we did not sample it. Breakfast appeared to be made to order. The pool is a little larger than a kiddie pool. Overall, we are not planning to return to this location.

We were here four nights and had the best time. The staff is amazing! The beach is perfect and location is great. It was very quiet despite being among several bars and nightclubs. Rooms are big and well appointed.

My husband and I took a 3 might trip in September. There are many and varied restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was clean, the beach was great, the staff was friendly, they offer free parking, nice breakfast, could not ask for much more.

Great on the beach hotel may need a little upgrading..all staff were excellent and breakfast was great! Never heard noise outside room and darkening curtains helped alot to sleep in! Not sure of neighborhood at late night but plenty of restaurants bars shops nearby..would stay again

We made last minute reservations for Labor Day weekend. The hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and fun, our room was clean and very comfortable. Great beach, easy parking, plenty of restaurants nearby made our stay wonderful. I would recommend to anyone!

Stayed here twice during the last 3 months. Both times for medical reasons(Mayo Clinic close by). We love this place. King size bed, very comfortable, and the Breakfast bar was full of treats. Oceanfront balconies a stones throw from the water and the A/C kept us very cool. Location has many craft food restaurants and pubs nearby. Dockside restaurant for god old southern fried seafood less than 10 minutes away.

The Hotel looks much larger in the photos. The lobby/breakfast buffet is very tiny. There is only one elevator and it's there as well. We could not find the access to the beach. There was a gate at the back of the property that was chain locked. There was a large hole in the fence to the right of it where it appears everyone was using for access. On day two found a bed bug on a pillow. Ended the trip immediately and notified staff. While I wasn't charged for the 3rd day I wasn't offered a refund on the previous two days either. Have no plans of returning.

This hotel was pretty nice other than the fact that the hallway carpet was heavily soiled and stained, and looked to be very old. It needed replaced. Also the elevator is ancient and was also very dirty on the inside. The rooms though, we are very clean and they smelled clean and they were very very nice. I thought that it was too much money to spend for the way the floors looked. I'm sure at $300 a night, they can afford to replace the carpet. That location was fantastic. It was right on the beach, but they kept the gate for the beach entrance locked the entire time we were there

Hotel was clean. It was convenient and close to everything we needed for visiting the Mayo Clinic. Staff was amazing and helpful. Restaurant and shops close by and easy access to the beach. Pool is small.

The bed was super comfy and you can see and hear the ocean from bed! Breakfast was awesome! This is a great option directly on Jacksonville Beach with shopping and restaurants all around! I can not recommend enough!

Perfect location to walk everywhere! Staff was friendly & very accommodating! Breakfast was fresh & hot. The fresh baked cookies at night was a nice treat too! Pool could be bigger & could have been tended to better during our stay. Just a heads up for those traveling with young children- there was the loud inappropriate music blasting from the bar across the street while we were trying to enjoy pool time with the kids. Lots of night life activity & people watching!!

My favorite place to stay in Jacksonville. The rooms are updated and nice. The bed is so comfortable! I love the shade parking. Coffee and tea at the front desk is always nice. Their soap shampoo are a good quality. They have hairdryers in the room. I've stayed a place lately with nothing in the rooms. The best location for the price. Close to everything. The Hookah Bar across the street is loud but the food was great and I couldn't hear the music in my room even though I was right in front of it.

Oceanfront King room. A lot smaller than the double queens though. Free parking. Continental breakfast only had a few choices. To be expected in these times. Internet was fast. TV was weird. Power button on back of TV. Remote only controls volume and channels. Good location. Walking distance to quite a few eateries and a Walgreens. . I'd stay again but only at a lower price than what we paid this time.

Easy access directly to Jax beach, multiple bars, restaurants and shopping venues. You can do everything you need without a vehicle. We were just 1 block from the music festival and only a 30 minute brisk beach walk to the Neptune beach area with more bars, restaurants and shopping. There were bands and dancing everywhere and lots of things to do!

Nice small hotel, not worth the money they charged though. Pool is not that big and it seems they don't clean it on the daily basis. Breakfast was the same the whole time we was there. Workers were very helpful.

The hotel rate quoted is only for the lowest priced night....not for the entire stay- that does not appear anywhere until you book the reservation and get the confirmation email. Incidentally- the email reservation quoted price was different than the actual price paid at check-out- it was only $3.19 more....but again...when is a price quote not a price quote...seems it is not when it's Best Western . I emailed customer service before my arrival about the room rates- they never responded- I called the 800 reservations line about the room rates and was told to contact the hotel directly- the hotel was unable/unwilling to do anything and referred me back to the 800 reservations line....uggh I completed an online "pre-check-in" to let them know I would be arriving between 2 & 4 PM- I actually arrived at 3:20PM and my room was not ready until 4PM. The front desk is frequently unattended- when they called to say the room was finally ready, I reported in at the front desk about 10 minutes later only to find no one there to check me in- had to wait yet again. Some of the desk staff are not friendly and are more about making excuses than about being accommodating. .The hotel sits right on the beach and the room is clean &the balcony overlooking the ocean is great. There was no phone in the room which I discovered when the TV remote died- walked down to the desk- which was thankfully attended this time & was given a working replacement. I did receive a generic "sorry...give us another try" email after completing the Best Western online review but I don't feel that addresses the fact that I feel "bamboozled" by their price advertising practices. Also- despite local ordinance requiring masking, many staff were not complying and they were not asking hotel guests to comply.

Right on the beach. Hot breakfast even during Covid. Hotel was clean and I always felt safe...both from Covid and from strangers. Staff was always friendly. Room was bigger than expected and bedding was super comfy!

Great location walking distance to several shops and restaurants and our favorite pizza place V's. We were in town for mayo clinic appt. and having an oceonfront room was very soothing and took our mind off why we were there..

I wanted a beach view hotel room for a 2 day family trip with my adult son. I was very surprised when we checked in it was fast and simple. The room was wonderful very clean everything including the channel changer had been cleaned. The view was exactly what I wanted. I also did not expect for the price we paid to have a in room safe, microwave, & mini frig. Breakfast was freshly cooked not just a box breakfast, due to COVID restrictions it was packaged for us to take to our room. I did not expect everything we got for the money we paid.

When we walked into our Oceanview Room the musty, moldy smell hit us. I asked the maid for a spray due to the smell but the smell returned later and we had to smell it all night. The hotel was sold out so I didn't ask for a different room but I wish that I had as it was miserable. I'm so upset that they would rent a room in that condition. I had paid extra for the Oceanview too.

Very friendly & helpful staff, awesome breakfast, right on the beach. All the oceanfront rooms were being renovated but we got rm #218 which did have a peek of the ocean. Within walking distance to everything. Little pricey but hey it's right on the ocean

We had a wonderful trip in April to this oceanfront hotel. Please don't let the comments deter you from this quaint, smaller hotel. We felt very safe in this area. The front desk staff were awesome and very friendly. Restaurants and stores were across the road and beside the hotel. We had a balcony in our room with an ocean view which was a nice surprise. We stayed on the 3rd floor. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much and will be back. This was our first stay in Jacksonville. FYI...At the current moment only 35ish rooms are open due to renovations so book early. Public parking across the road if you bring more than 1 car like we did.

What an amazing hotel on the beach. The free breakfast was delicious, and the employees serving were some of the friendliest I've encountered. Breakfast is way more than continental, and they've gotten the “to go” service down pat. Location can't be beat. They're currently renovating the oceanfront rooms and I'm looking forward to returning when they're finished. The bed was comfy, and I appreciated the different types of pillows. Lots of outlets for charging. Highly recommend.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I travel for medical appointments at the Mayo Clinic and only stay here! It's the best priced and in such a beautiful spot. You can hear the ocean and see it from almost every room or just walk outside and you're on the beach!

We had the best stay and most helpful staff. From an easy check in and newly remodeled room, to excellent room service, to safe breakfast distribution, easy checkout, called us cabs, and even shipping me a lost item free of charge that I left behind! Hands down best customer service and super clean establishment! Also great location oceanfront with lots of places to walk to nearby.

We had a wonderful experience. Every staff member was pleasant and friendly. Excellent location. The balcony was still under construction but the view was amazing. We will definitely come back again. Height recommended.

We had a fairly good time. The room was spacious, the staff was exceptional, the view was nice, and for a beach front property the room was very well priced. My wife and I will give Best Western greater consideration in the future.

The hotel was under construction and the view was of another building. The water pressure was extremely poor and the rooms were very plain. For the price paid I expected more than a mediocre experience

The Jacksonville Beach Pier is being worked on and the hotel is being worked on which leads to tremendous noise level, add to that the pot smell and the cigarette smell, not exactly what you would call a healthy vacation. Yes this hotel is on the ocean with an easy walk . The hotel is very dated, 1 small elevator, limited parking. Staff was not wearing their masks! Enough said about how they must be taking the seriousness of covid-19! Large room with microwave and refrigerator, walk in shower, teeny tiny balcony. Can't leave your door open to get the fresh air because of the noise and the smoke!

Very pleased with everything about our stay. Clean hotel and rooms following covid practices. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Made for a pleasant and relaxing Christmas. Highly recommend. A short walk to the beach. Great breakfast. No complaints.

I was very happy with my experience at this property. Everything was seamless, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Right in the heart of the action in Jax beach. The room was spotless with very nice decor. I will plan another trip there in the future.

From arrival to check out Staff had everything covered, Ròoms cleaned, food was amazing! loved the decor of the room, would be a neat idea for the DYI project at home! Best Hotel in the south by far!!

Decent view, could not open door due to repairs for balcony. Pretty quiet. Dead bugs in room. Phone did not work and we informed staff but no one came to fix it which wasn't a big deal for one night. Staff DID NOT WEAR PPE gear cleaning rooms... No one other than the check in staff that we saw were wearing them. Parking on site was nice.

We had a wonderful visit. The room cleanliness exceeded expectations and we were very impressed with the breakfast option. During covid-19, many hotels are offering only a cold breakfast. This particular Best Western still offered a hot breakfast that an employee dish up and boxed for you to take to your room to enjoy. Overall, a wonderful stay!

1. The inside -carpet/hallway smelled of animal//marijuana 2. There were baby cockroaches in bathroom 3. The balcony was not kept - rusty iron, table and chairs old and not clean 4. hair found on pillows 5. No bedding was provided on sofa bed(the mattress is cloth--soaks in body fluid..not protective covering on sofa bed mattress 6. just a bad smell throughout hotel. **looking at website pictures, you would THINK this place was good.

Very small rooms. Rather expensive for a studio room. No ocean view on oceanfront property even though it was requested. No balcony even so if you want to enjoy outside have to go down to over crowded parking area.

I'd have to say that we had possibly the best sleep on that incredible mattress. I liked it so much I intend to call back and check out the manufacturer. This hotel is on the beach for easy access to both sunrise pictures, wandering, shelling, and even shopping. It is within a block and a half of the town center park with the famous surfer girls. I would definitely return for the sleep if nothing else on that incredible mattress but also cuz the staff was so friendly.

I want to start out saying that we absolutely love having a get a way on the beach. We originally booked a stay at a nice hotel in Amelia Island; canceled the room several days before our reservation after we saw the forecast regarding weekend long rain. Within the hour though, we decided that it didn't matter in that we just wanted to get out of the house and wouldn't mind spending money because at least we'd be on the beach. However, within that time frame, our original room had already been booked and we had to scramble to find a room on the beach in the area. So, we ended up booking a room at the Best Western in Jacksonville Beach. This was our first time staying at a Best Western and we have no plans to a room at this hotel again - not because of the location, which was great; not because of the safety precautions in requiring the guests to wear masks, which we appreciated; not because of the front desk staff in that they were really nice/cordial to us (though I would suggest that they never say disparaging remarks about a guest in front of another guest, which I witnessed). I appreciated the way that the complimentary breakfast was handled; there was no open food items; guests were not allowed to make their plates; the hotel staff made to-go containers; the staff member wore gloves and a mask the entire time that the guest indicated what items they wanted. In any case, the hotel did not look nearly as nice as the photo online. We purposefully wanted a room with a balcony and a view of the ocean; we did get what we asked for but the photo was so very deceitful/misleading. Definitely not what we expected. The balcony could barely seat two folks comfortably; there were two steel-like beams on each balcony facing the beach. I am not sure how anyone thought this would be anything other than a complete eyesore! Plus, the balcony floor didn't looked very clean. There was a weird smell in the bathroom, in the hallway, and in the vending/ice machine room area. Fortunately, along with our masks and gloves, we also brought Lysol, clorox wipes, and bleach; we were able to wipe down everything before we got settled. This was the 2nd worst room on the beach I have been in; we happened upon a dud about 10 years ago when we booked a room at a lovely looking resort on the beach in St. Augustine (the online photos were not what we got!). As was the case back then, the money we spent was way off from the room itself; totally overpriced for the look/feel of the place. Next time we spend nearly $1,000, we will be sure to stick with what we know. Of note, the pool is located in the front area of the hotel, basically right next to the street. Certainly not a good idea from my perspective. It may be a good idea to try to make sure the folks who clean the rooms don't feel disenfranchised; I think I received only one return smile the entire three days of our visit though I saw the cleaning staff in the hallway every day, several times during the day. There were some other issues as well, but I choose to specifically contact the hotel/manager regarding those "household issues". In saying all of this, we were grateful that we were able to enjoy the sunset/sunrise on the beach; we enjoyed hearing the waves and the birds; we enjoyed just getting out of the house; sadly our lodging was far from up to par!

This hotel is in a great location, but a little overpriced due to condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the price was a little on the high side in my opinion, I would recommend it due to location.

Booked this hotel based on positive reviews. However, we were disappointed with this stay. The hallways were dirty and smelled. The hotel was not secure. The security panels for card access to stairwells were broken. Also, the hotel was being held up by metal poles (not sure if this was renovation, but didn't see any work being done). Finally, there was no shampoo in the room. Overall, we were underwhelmed with this hotel even for a basic hotel stay.

This is my family's 3rd year to stay at Best Western Oceanfront in Jacksonville Beach, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else! The convenience of this property is perfect! The staff is great! Not to mention since this particular hotel is only 3 floors, so the beach access is not overran as it is for the surrounding hotels! Thanks for another great year!

Considering we stayed during the pandemic, the staff here were very accommodating and professional. The room was clean, service was great, and staff were helpful. The only downside was we had a city view room (made reservations too late), but even with that, we had a wonderful experience.

Had a great time on vacation. Staff was great and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast every morning was hot and a variety. Check in and out was fast. Shopping and dining was within walking distance. Staff was very helpful with any questions.

I want to start by saying stuff at this hotel is so friendly and helpful. They are among the kindest hotel employees I've met. The affordable room with beachfront balcony view made the choice to stay here worth it. The biggest drawback were disrespectful patrons. So many were loud and smoked cannabis and other substances in their rooms and on the balcony. The smell of weed wafted through the air constantly. We stayed here several days and even though the patrons changed the behavior didn't. I felt very sorry for all that the staff face when managing unkind and unlawful guests. They deserve a raise and better support from whomever owns the hotel. This may be an OK place for easy going friends and couples. It's no place for the uptight. Personally, I would NEVER bring children or teens here. There's too much partying and possibly drug dealing going on around the hotel, especially at night.

Room was clean and comfortable. Employees were helpful when I asked for seafood recommendations. (They were right on with who they recommended). Hotel is located as close to the beach as you can be. Parking is a little tight, but I have found that to be the norm. Only downfall was the water pressure in the shower was not very good. But, the water did get nice and hot.

I had to travel to Jacksonville for a family gathering and needed a hotel in the JAX Beach area. The hotel was in a great location, wonderful view of the ocean and not so big that there were too many people. The hotel is close to restaurants and other shops. It is only 2 short blocks from 3rd Street (Highway A1A).

Three nights at Best Western Oceanside in Jacksonville Beach. The view from our balcony was beautiful and room was well appointed but that's where it ended. -Lolly columns supporting all the 2nd story oceanfront balcony's - except the end unit where we were (3rd floor balcony's were ok) Considering the price we paid for an ocean front room, the exterior needs updating !! -Security door in the garage leading to 2nd/3rd floors did not lock which did not make us feel terribly safe. We spoke to front desk about our concern. Maintenance was to check but it never got fixed. - Our room was not cleaned one day after returning from a long day trip and housekeeping was gone for the day. We've always had very good experiences at Best Western's so are very disappointed with our stay in Jacksonville.

The room was plenty spacious, but the view wasn't what I'd hoped. Somehow, though I thought I had reserved an ocean front room, that's not what my reservation showed when I arrived. However, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and the beach was just a short walk across the dunes. I do wish they had somewhere outside to easily wash off my feet. If they did, I didn't see it.

Our stay here was very good! Oceanview! From check-in to check-out. No issues. Our check - in went very well. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and it was excellent choice. Needs updating, but they are working on it. Breakfast could use some improvements.

This hotel suffers badly from outside noise. We've stayed there twice, once in a 'street side' room...there are bars that stay open until VERY late, and then we had leaf blowers wake us up at 5am. Second time, we thought we'd be smart and pay an ungodly price for an oceanfront room...nope, there are bars EVERYWHERE and I still didn't get much sleep. I was also a bit concerned at the scaffolding holding up all the balconies..for that kind of price I didn't expect that at all. All in all, it's in a great place for the beach, the hotel staff are good and friendly and very helpful. it's just. too. noisy...

My stay in this hotel was perfect, fast check-in, paceful place , near to the beach, a good and complete breakfast, with an upgrading for my room. Sadly, the cold weather and strong wind was with us Thanks for all.

Everything we needed for our week's stay. Room was exceptionally clean every day when we returned. All staff members were friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast food was tasty and breakfast area was continually kept tidy.

The staff was very nice and did a very good job. However the hotel was very "tired"! I paid almost $200 for an oceanfront room and expected more. The balcony was under construction with 2 large construction poles on the tiny patio. There was peeling paint in the bathroom. It looks like they're in the process of trying to fix up the place, but it has a ways to go. I personally don't think it was worth the price. They had a nice free breakfast buffet, and again all of the staff was very nice, polite, professional and helpful. Hopefully they will finish renovations and the hotel will soon be up to par.

Great customer service at front desk, nice room, clean bathroom, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Only suggestion is that the carpet needs deep shampooing. The room had a musty odor due to the dirty carpeting.

Traveled to attend Mayo Clinic appointment with my young daughters. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff we're very helpful and kind. The hotel is really small But the rooms are not. Very nice and big rooms which I did not expect. The area where the hotel is would be perfect for those who love nightlife however we did not hear any noise and had no issues with being there with my young daughters. The pool was very tiny however you are at the ocean so who really wants to swim in a pool when you have the ocean right in front of you. I have seen this hotel many of times but always booked on the other side of Jacksonville Beach. I wanted to try this hotel and I was not disappointed.

This was the 3rd time we've stayed here, because we liked it so much! But it's changed. When we came to check in, no one was at the desk! There wasn't a soul around anywhere to help us! Finally, the desk person returned...she was on a bathroom break, and the only one working! Our oceanfront balcony, smaller than what we've had in the past, had constant water dripping on it, maybe from the roof? It wasn't raining! It was impossible to even use the balcony. It seemed shabbier overall. The TV had very limited stations...another thing different from our other visits. The only thing that stayed good was the breakfast, and its location. We might try a different place next time.

Night two and final night...Unfortunately we could not cancel after our first five minutes of arriving ,and get a refund for our Friday and Saturday night stay.. Our Saturday night turned out to be more of the same.... Whole second floor smells like weed again! Thank God I am out of here tomorrow! Never again

Mayo Clinic to see about a liver transplant for my brother. Room was dirty and bath tub had hair in it and trash had not been changed or vacuumed found a kids sock near the trash can that had not been changed also a dirty wash cloth

Friendly staff and great location near the beach and good restaurants. Parking was not a problem. The work out facility at a close by business was helpful. The breakfast was always hot and a good start of the day

As a local, we had a decent stay at Best Western Oceanfront. The staff was wonderful. The building is older but they have made some upgrades. The continental breakfast is super convenient. The location is in a busy area with lots of great restaurants nearby and even if your room is a street-view, the building is oceanfront so you're steps away from the beach. It's not fancy but it totally gets the job done.

A wonderful oceanfront with a beautiful beach is just one part of a very happy experience. The people working there area exceptionally nice and very helpful. The front desk has Tamara who went out of her way to make our visit really memorable by suggesting restaurants and shops. The location is right in a location next to the park and easily accessible. Parking is a breeze with many covered spots. We will be back there soon!

This beachfront Best Western is in a great location - walking distance to restaurants, a Walgreens and Publix. Also there's a small "seawalk" (I think that's what it's called) for a short stroll right in front of it - and there is a boarded crossover to the beach as well. My room was nice and the bathrooms seem to be somewhat newly renovated. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of plugs (though not USB ports) for charging devices, including on the front of the bedside nightstand. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Particularly I want to acknowledge the very clean breakfast area with loads of choices (Quandra does an excellent job). There are waffles, bagels, breads, fruit, cereals, oatmeal (packages) - and more - and hot options that vary day to day (that included tasty scrambled eggs and then options depending on the day of bacon, sausage, biscuits). I appreciated the fact that for coffee real half-and-half was offered. Tables were quickly cleaned and food was promptly replaced as it ran out. Caitlyn (Kate?) assured me (when my travel plans had me arriving late) that I did have a beachfront room -- and Melissa and others at the desk run the check-ins and check-outs very professionally and efficiently. The rooms are cleaned well by housekeeping staff and I want to give a nod to Jackie - thanks! For those with cars, there is one parking spot available for each guest room. There's only one elevator -- but 2 stairwells that lead directly outdoors.

should have gone with the ocean view to get a balcony. would have liked some fresh air. other than that, great location. solid breakfast. clean rooms. had a little trouble with the room keys, but never had a problem getting them fixed.

The Best Western Oceanfront in Jacksonville FL could not have been a better spot for a relaxing night after a stressful holiday. The room was exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed! I requested an oceanview room and the view did not disappoint. I opened the balcony door and the roar or the Atlantic filled the room! We slept with the balcony door open and I don't think I've ever had a more relaxing night in a hotel. In fact, we had intended to continue our journey home early the next morning but lingered, taking a stroll along the beach before packing up for the next leg of our drive. The hotel is older, it seems, and is under some repair but it did not interrupt our stay. The included breakfast was adequate to get us on the road the next day. The staff was kind and friendly.

Rooms are nice, Breakfast is great, Oceanfront. Nice area to walk around.We enjoyed the beach are and there is shopping and a grocery store within walking distance of the hotel.I enjoyed the balcony from the room and had an ocean view.

We had a city view room, which was very spacious. We were also surprised that we could see the water from our balcony. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, great variety and we especially enjoyed the bacon which has been rarely included at previous hotels we have stayed.

Not clean room , found some trash with cigarettes at the back of curtain and balcony is unusable since so dirty cannot even seat on it, found left over ice cream as well on the fridge, overall not worse but bad experience

Checked in late on Christmas Eve and tired but receptionist was so patient and helpful. We saw her early the next morning Christmas Day and she was working again. We really appreciate people who are still kind even when they had to work over the holidays. I wish we had written down her name but she was a pretty redhead.

I was hesitant to expect much from this Best Western because I know others closer to base are less than stellar. However, I loved staying here! The room was large and the bed was amazing. The breakfast was really good, and I loved the waffles! The only downside to this trip was that it was over a weekend and the bar next door was EXTREMELY loud until 2 in the morning and I didn't sleep well the second night because of it. If you're a light sleeper like me, request a room away from the bar.

We booked a handicapped room and were pleasantly at the size of room and bath. The room, and the hotel in general, was recently remodeled and modern. There were ample electrical outlets and USB charging ports. Breakfast was excellent and the attendants worked tirelessly to keep everything supplied, clean and tidy.

We stayed here for a little over a week and OMG - the friendliness factor here is off the charts. Despite the tiny lobby, this is a hotel which offers world class service. We had a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the ocean. Yes, there were supports beneath our balcony to hold it up, but I'd rather have safety than looks in that case. Breakfast didn't vary a lot, but it does change as far as the meat courses go from day to day. There's a little cooler in the lobby which holds non-alcoholic drinks in case you need something when you return. There are TONS of restaurants within walking distance and the beach is just out the back door of the hotel. There's ample parking & again, the staff is incredible. I want to go back to this hotel just for that reason.

Great location, staff, service. It all came together what more can I say. This hotel is my go to hotel when I'm in the area. And I plan on visiting more often to visit my granddaughters and enjoy the JAX area.

I stayed at the BE oceanfront while visiting family, who live in JAX. This hotel hit all the points that I wanted in the visit, free breakfast, on the beach, free parking and relatively close to where my family live and easy to return to the airport at the end of my stay. Also it is very walk-able to a number of very good places to eat as well as the Deck the Chairs Christmas light display. I will stay here again in the future.

Older hotel that is a little rundown but under repair. Room was clean. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows and comforter. Cheerful and friendly staff that enjoyed interacting with us. We would stay there again. Was a block away from a great Christmas lights display. Better than average free breakfast. Great value for oceanfront. Only 12 mins from Mayo Clinic which we were in town to go to.

The location and view was great! The hotel was very clean and the rooms are nicely updated. The staff were also very friendly. The only negative was the heating unit in the room had an odor when turned on.

I know I rated this Best Western pretty high, but they deserve it. The rooms are remodeled with great taste, comfortable beds, huge shower, friendly and helpful staff, and great breakfast. The only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer.

This staff was amazing, the beds were the best they were so comfortable and the pillows were so nice. Very clean facility.. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this hotel!!! There's a little nightclub across the street so if you'd like to go out you can enjoy yourself Also the beach is right there!!!

First of all I was given the specific room I requested. Having stayed there before, I had stayed in that room and liked it very much. And I intend to stay there again when I visit my children and grandchildren in Jacksonville. I will be asking for that same room. Secondly, the breakfasts are very good. Thirdly, the location is uniquely right on the beach.

Located very close to the ocean and right next to several beachy type stores, The Best Western Oceanfront is the place to stay in Jax Beach! The staff was especially friendly and the complimentary breakfast each day was good. I will stay there again!

The only complaint I had was the water pressure in the shower needs a little more pressure for my liking. The room was very well made over. Breakfast was like most nothing extra. The front desk staff was excellent. Enjoyed the Balcony.

Spent thanksgiving break in Jacksonville with the whole family, my husband and I stay here and we were close to literally everything. Super cute and very clean room with an incredible balcony view of the ocean! It's in the middle of everything. As long as the prices stay moderate, we'll be lifelong customers. So relaxing, can't wait to go back. Free breakfast, which was very good, speedy WiFi and ideal parking. The lobby is very cute with a refrigerator full of beverages you can charge to your room and free fruit flavored water. I Literally walked out of hotel and was on the beach. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and activities all within walking distance from hotel. Not pet friendly so you would need to make arrangements for pets. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Jacksonville beach area!!

Clean, updated property on the ocean and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Beds were comfy, frig and micro in room. Out door pool but too cold to enjoy. Breakfast was standard, hot foods, cold cereal, intant oatmeal bar. Coffee was not that great.

The balconies facing the water front are falling apart and there are steel bracing holding them up. If you rent a room with a waterfront view you will be disappointed by having to try and look past them. They also take up much of the space on the balconies so you can not sit outside.

This was a 1 night stay passing through area. The oceanfront hotel location was great, near shops, restaurants & nightlife. Price was very reasonable compared to other oceanfront hotels in the area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However...there were some issues. First the balcony. The hotel was using some sort of makeshift poles to support the roof of the balcony. It was hard to tell if this was a temp or permanent solution. There were no signs or notices about construction, but being on the balcony felt like you needed to be wearing a hard hat. The poles took up most of the room on the already tiny balcony, so if more than one person was on the balcony there was a fear that one of the poles would get bumped and then the whole hotel would come crumbling down. Upon further review these poles were also used in the first level parking area, and again there were no notices or warning about the poles. The second issue was the security. The exterior door closest to the ocean leading to the stairwell required a key card entry, but the door opened freely with or without a key. Then from the stairwell there was no additional security into the hotel hallways. Any non-guest could gain access to the stairwell and the hallways. This was a big issue because there were young females in our party. We made sure to use the extra locks on the hotel room doors and not open the door to strangers. The final issue was regarding Reward Member recognition. Our flights were not until the evening after check-out, so I requested a later check-out so we could enjoy the beach a little longer. I was told that the latest check-out allowed was 12noon. I reminded them that I was a Diamond member (the highest level for this chain) but was told that didn't matter. So I have been staying in hotels long enough to know that late check-outs are not guaranteed, but this was a weekday, the hotel was visibly not full, and I wasn't requesting an unreasonable amount of time, just a little extra. I did in that situation expect my membership level would have allowed a little extra time. But to know that I was to get the same check-out benefit as any other non-member, and to be verbally and rudely told that my membership did not matter was enough for me to never come back to this hotel or ever recommend it.

Have stayed here previously. Enjoyed both visit. Location is great. Parking garage, Oceanfront, lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Great location, wonderful staff, condition of hotel for its age is good, the breakfast was excellent, lots of shops in area within the front door if the hotel, also check out the surf skate board shop next door . Blind rabbit and brick and Carabbas are a step away from the hotel

The rooms were spacious, the bathroom/shower was nice, the bed was a king size and the pillows, I would not have minded taking home with me. Loved the breakfast included. Nice assortment to suit everyone. There is no workout room, but the beach is right there for long walks, jogging, surfing. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, pubs, sports bars, a pharmacy and a grocery store.

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also well done with a number of choices. The Oceanfront is also close to a number of eating and drinking establishments. It was nice to be able to walk out the gate onto the beach without having to cross a street. The view from our room was excellent.

Nice room very clean, but shades really did not darken room well. I have trouble sleeping when there is ambient light, so it effected me. Also, you could hear a lot of street noise from the locals in the area. A large number of transients in the area may keep your guard up.

There are not many cost-effective lodging options in the Jacksonville Beach area, but we found that this hotel was not only inexpensive, but the location was superb. There are several shops, restaurants, and bars in the immediate vicinity, and the beach is essentially right out the back door. Our room was recently remodeled, so it was very clean and modern. Parking can be a bit tight for larger vehicles, but there were plenty of parking spaces. The complimentary breakfast items were fresh and tasted very good, but the dining space is very small. The only down side of our visit was there was an issue with the card reader at check in. When two different credit cards would not read in the machine, we were asked to go get cash to pay for our stay. After we refused, we were able to determine there was a problem with the reservation that we were ultimately able to resolve, then we could use the credit card. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone vacationing in Jacksonville Beach.

The Best Western Oceanview in Jacksonville was very clean and the front desk personnel were extremely helpful. Our room was actually ready a little early and the hotel was right on the beach front. It was a very enjoyable stay.

This is a hotel located in the middle of everything. You can easily walk to JAX beach, in 1 min, or many different local restaurants in just a few minutes. The staff are extraordinarily friendly, and the hot breakfast snd other assortments are excellent. The room was very very clean and the bed comfortable. Way to go Best Western Plus.

This was not my first time staying here for business. The rooms are nice and the breakfast coffee was a nice amenity. However - I requested my bill to be sent to me at check-in (for business expense) and called again two days ago to again request the a copy. I still haven't received one. I may reconsider staying again based on this hassle.

Rented two rooms took the wife in the sister in law on vacation the rooms were fine staff friendly courteous very helpful the pool on the other hand it's right on the street everybody walking by all the drunks had rude comments to say to my wife and my sister-in-law and myself smallest pool I've ever seen at a hotel I'd recommend people to stay there as long as they don't want to use the pool other than that I don't think I would stay there again myself

Had an ocean view room with balcony, couldn't ask for better. The room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast bar was delicious. Pool was great although I thought they closed it a little early. The parking was surprisingly good and the outside area was kept clean. Would recommend to anyone who wants a short walk to the beach.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone. We needed somewhere to stay last minute and chose Best Western because of the price, reviews, and location. It's right on the water, you can walk right out of the hotel and be on the beach. Super close to a lot of restaurants & bars!

This is a really great place to stay and truly gives you a "Home away from Home" feel. The entire staff is super friendly and always greet you with a smile and a hello. Breakfast is really good but gets busy quick so go early. Ice chilled water with orange slices in a container is provided in the lobby as well as fresh baked cookies. Room is comfortable and super clean and well stocked. The bed and pillows are wonderful. I slept better on these beds then I do my own bed at home. Book your stay here...I promise you will not be disappointed.

Excel location in the heart of JAX Beach and convenient parking. Ocean view room had excellent views! The room took on some water from the tropical storm and the beds were well used but overall a good place to stay and experience the area!

We stayed at this hotel for the first time. It was very clean and the location was outstanding. The front desk workers were very nice. Our room was on the 3rd floor and faced the ocean. I am definitely going to stay there again.

Small hotel, but had great warm breakfast, served warm cookies innthe afternoon, and took care of any issues. We were on the 3rd floor, and hardly had any water pressure in the shower. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping stores as well as bars.

We stayed t here for a night. Parking was free and it was beachfront. Our first room had a balcony we could not access because the door was broken. It smelled really bad and the AC was very old and noisy so we asked to change. The new room was fresher without a view. Beds were comfy. it was OK for one night but pricey for the quality of the place. We went to Neptune Beach to a prime resort for the same price the following day. I would not return. it looks like a bikers' spot.

Check-in was great, bed was great, bathroom was clean, service was friendly, breakfast was average, location was good. My daughter stayed with me on the last night and slept on the pull out couch mattress. OMG, a horrible odor of stale urine engulfed the entire room from The mattress. It was late so we put up with for the night, The odor stayed with me the whole day the next day. It definitely affected my stay at this hotel. I'll never book a hotel below 4 stars again.

Lovely remodeled new rooms right on the boardwalk in Jacksonville Beach. We were pleasantly surprised at this sparkling clean and modern hotel, breakfast included. Lots of dining and shopping in walking distance, too.

I find that Best Western's hotels do not have a consistent level of quality. For a little extra money, stay at the Hampton Inn or Marriott Courtyard. Note I have seen neither, but both those hotels have more consistent quality across the brand. I paid $200 to stay here for a wedding with a room that faced South. The staff was nice, but if this hotel was not on the beach, it would go for 60-70 a night. Glass sliding door needed repair. Lamp didn't work. Hotel has a great location in Jax Beach which has improved tremendously since I started going there 35 years ago. Nice "Boardwalk" Lots of restaurants and bars. I would stay here again, but I would prefer to stay elsewhere. I hardly spent any time in the room due to wedding activities, and it met my needs. Again staff was great/friendly. I just thought it was too expensive for the room. On the other hand, I booked day of event and the hotel was nearly sold out. Got a $40 cheaper price on hotels.com than BW direct website.

Beautifully modernised room. Shame about the view you from the side room. The hotel has an almost continental feel to it. Beautiful location. Full breakfast facilities that gets very busy. You would do well to check out the sign in the elevator which warned you about busy times for breakfast.

Hotel is right on the beach, you could not beat the price!! Pillows are amazing as well!! Had a great experience! Will definitely be back. I could sit on the balcony and watch surfers all day!! Loved it!!!

Was told when we checked in that we were given an upgrade of a patio room with a beautiful view of the city. What a joke. And the breakfast was described as wonderful. Not so. Horrible and very small and not big enough to accommodate the guest. Will never book here again.

Three story hotel right on the beach, however only a few rooms face the ocean. Our room was airy and clean with a king bed, sofa, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker No tub, but the shower was spacious. There was also a small balcony with a table and seating for two that overlooks some nearby souvenir type shops. Just a quick two minute walk out the back gate (of parking area) will lead you to a boardwalk and walking path to the beautiful sandy beach. There is a small outdoor pool, but no hot tub. Breakfast was served 6-10 am with a variety of options.

Great location, right on the beach. All staff (front desk, food service, housekeeping) were friendly and very helpful. Accommodations were comfortable and the room was very clean. Parking was convenient and covered.

With a last minute reservation, we were very pleased to land directly on Jacksonville Beach. A nice, clean, no frills room with immediate access to the Atlantic. Free covered parking and a well appointed free breakfast bar in the morning left us with nice feelings for this stay. If we are back in Jacksonville beach, this would be a place to stay again.

The location of this hotel is great steps away from Jacksonville Beach. The staff is diligent in keeping this place super clean and ready for its guests, the rooms are super comfortable. You will enjoy this place.

We love staying at this hotel. Very clean room and the staff is great! We had a wonderful time even though we were there on business. Love the closeness to the beach. We had an ocean view room and it's so nice to hear the ocean.

It was nice. Nice breeze from the beach. You can walk directly off the property and on to the beach. It was next to the beach but we did not get a balcony because they said they were sold out. Rooms were nice and bed was comfortable. Rooms are exspensive but it was ok. Sweet Check in girls at night. They were very people orientated. Breakfast was ok but it was continental. Biscuits gravy, cereal, eggs, bacon etc. It wasn't like a buffet but the girl that was serving did her best.

The hotel was nice. The view from the balcony was great. The person working when I checked in was very nice and friendly. The morning crew not so much. It would be good to have more than one elevator. Over all a good experience. I would stay again.

We stay at this hotel often because I repeatedly have to go to Mayo Clinic, JAX. The location right on the beach with restaurants within walking distance or a short drive, all good. But the air units are noisy and the rooms and balcony are not clean to our satisfaction. For these reasons, I am trying to locate a different hotel for our trip there in two weeks.

Location was very good, free breakfast, free WIFI, big room with a balcony, it was truly great. The staff was accommodating and they even gave us free cookies upon check in which was great! Staff was always smiling as well! Thank you.

Great room, great price and beach walking distance! We were looking in the area and exploring at last minute and discovered this gem of a hotel. The breakfast was great, staff was super friendly and clean rooms!!

The room was clean although it felt very humid. The view we had was of the adjacent building; it would have been nice to get a glimpse of the beach from our window. People were very courteous and helpful; no complaints. There's no gym. Breakfast area is very crowded.

1st street was close to everything. beach resturants bars shops. we were able to walk to and from the places we liked near by. brufeast was close too.didnt have to get in the car too much. beach street and 3rd street has a lot of stores and food places too.

Started off with the amazing staff checking us in. Helped guide us around the area. Then the Ocean-Front view- wow! Wonderful atmosphere - others on balcony a bit close but If you make friends who cares. The room was clean and comfy. Definitely will go back!

Smaller hotel but right on the beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel worked with us to adjust our reservation due to the hurricane. Made good recommendation for dinner, etc. Overall, nice stay despite the threatening weather.

This hotel is located a stones throw from JAX beach. The room was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable for a good nights sleep. Staff were polite and friendly and breakfast also good. If you are travelling to visit the beach/sea this is an ideal place to stay.

Great spot at a reasonable price! Walking distance to many restaurants/bars! Beach is just a walk past the parking lot. Staff is very friendly. Parking is a bit tricky with a larger vehicle, but not impossible if you're good at tight spaces.

Probably the best BW I've stayed at. It is in a great location with access to everything. The beach is only a few steps away. We had an ocean view - room 325 which was clean and fresh smelling upon our arrival. The rooms are very modern looking with fabulous decor and design. The room had a balcony which was well maintained. The chairs and table out there were spotless. I thought the overall set up of the room was good with its own little nook with a frig and microwave. There's a place right next door to rent bikes and chairs and the prices are very inexpensive. Wonderful and relaxing stay! Oh, and the beds were super comfortable with lots of pillows!

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel is close to everything. We will stay here again. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars. The bed was extremely comfortable. There is nothing like having a comfortable bed and pillows when you are away from home.

This is a great place to base your vacation at Jacksonville Beach. The rooms are well apportioned and very clean. The breakfast area and pool is small but it really doesn't make a great deal of difference as you are right on the beach, walking distance and central to restaurants, rental and souvenir shops for your beach needs. The staff is excellent and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Location, Great Staff, Great Room. The beach is out your back door, restaurants of every variety within 3 blocks. Do you want to try surfing, rent a board right next door. Or maybe start with a boogie board. Worth every penny!

This was our first time staying at the BW. I had two rooms. The hotel is decent, but the elevators are small. I made my reservation online and I noticed the price dropped and I called to inquired if they could adjust the price and the lady, I spoke with told me when I arrived the lady would adjust the price. When I arrived, I asked the lady about the price? She said they couldn't adjust the price, but her manager up graded my room # 323 to an oceanfront room but the sliding door wouldn't open. I told her I didn't want that room because my 7-year-old granddaughter would want to open the door and look outside. She told me the hotel was sold out and she couldn't change it. The same room telephone cord wasn't on the telephone and when I called to report it the evening shift lady stated the maintenance man had left for the day. I told her we needed a telephone in the room because a 7-year-old an 8-month-old was in there. The maintenance man did bring a cord the next day. I was in room 326 and my shower drained slow the maintenance man did check on it and the back off the remote control was broken. The first day both rolls of toilet paper were half full, and I had to request another roll and the second day she only put enough towels in the restroom for two people. It was 3 of us in the room. My rooms only had showers with no tub. I which I had known that in advance. The breakfast was good. It was too many issues on my stay at the hotel. The overall price I paid for both rooms wasn't worth the money. I will look elsewhere the next time.

The room seemed clean and updated but I believe I got head lice from the hotel. The hall carpeting needs to be replaced and the hotel exterior was in bad repair. Our balcony table was missing a leg. Location was good and parking was convenient.

The location of this hotel was perfect. Direct beach access, nearby dining and shops. Most importantly off main road that made it easy to travel to planned events during our stay. Will make this my go to for all my future travel plans to Jacksonville Florida metro area.

I had a fabulous time at Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront. It's close to the beach and the bars! The only downside is a light fixture fell and hit my partner. But guest services were very kind when we told them. I will be back.

The staff is very courteous. The rooms are clean and quiet. The hotel is located on the beach and close to many restaurants. Tje hotel is a great value for your money. The buffet has a good assortment of food. They serve warm cookies in the evening.

The staff & hotel rooms were very good. Very clean. Great location right off beach and within walking distance to several places to eat, shopping, & some night life. The lobby and breakfast area was very small. There was a pool as well and it was very small. It served our purpose and was reasonably priced.

When we first pulled up to the hotel we were hesitant. It does look a little run down. When we got to our room we were highly satisfied. The only thing we wished we would have had was a balcony, not all rooms have one. It is a basic room, but we didn't want anything fancy either. It's one of those you get what you pay for, but it is nice and clean so it worked great for us! The lobby is pretty small so we would grab breakfast and eat outside, the breakfast was great though! All in all, if you're looking for a place to get ready and sleep at night this is your place! The beach access is absolutely perfect!

I love the location of this hotel. It is right on the beach. You can watch the sun rise from your balcony. The attendants are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is wonderful. The beds are comfy and the room was clean and nice. This is the second time we've stayed at this location and it seems to have fallen into some disrepair since the first. Our door did not seal properly (.5 to 1 inch gaps around the whole thing.)so there was light from the hallway streaming in all night. None of the outside doors would take a key card so they were left unlocked. Minor issues really that are hopefully fixed by now.

We enjoyed our stay at the BW, staff was great and very attentive. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Hotel has easy access to the beach. There is a pool but it's on the smaller size, we didn't use it as we were there for the beach. The hotel is surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars all in walking distance. Saturday night was a little busy but the rest of the week was great. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to stay on Jax Beach.

It was a very great trip I must say. Always book best western when going out of town but this location was just superb, from the room to the view! The staff was very friendly as well enjoyed talking with them.

I know this is an older hotel at the beach and the renovation they have done is absolutely amazing! I will stay here again and completely ignore the other more expensive hotels at Jax Beach! Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Maid service was outstanding. Beach view was excellent. Best sleep I've had in months!

I was surprised of the quality of the hotel for the price and being right on JAX beach! I wouldn't recommend for a solo trip for women unless they aren't out and about at night. Right in the middle of all of the bars and every night (Thursday though Monday) I woke up due to ppl coming back from the bars. I didn't mind, wish I was out there with them! Ha! Their breakfast was good too! I actually ate there two mornings in a row (and I'm a huge foodie). Great spot, I will defiantly stay with them again!

The isn't much to the outside but the interior is very nice, and remodeled bathrooms make you feel like it's upscale and modern. Beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in a while, and I travel quite a bit for work.

We have been staying at the Best Western Oceanfront for approx. 5 years. We have never been this loyal to a hotel. The view from our ocean front room certainly is a draw. But, we could find that elsewhere. The staff is outstanding; especially Melissa. She recognizes us each time we arrive. She is family. We look forward to seeing her each year. Great customer service if really hard to find in today's world. She has it mastered!!! We already booked for next year!

The parking lot is small but the hotel is super cheap oceanfront and they have a souvenir shop beside pool is extremely small and was dirty and gated and infront of the side walk but the pier is beautiful and close to the hotel it's extremely dark take a flash light! The hotel was sooo clean and the lady up front was so helpful and nice and provided me with a preferred rewards member gift and the breakfast is hot and great fresh fruit offered and they also have drinks available during your stay as well

Great View!! The location is perfect, lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean. Even thought the exterior appears old, the interior has been updated with all modern amenities. I will definitely stay again, price was very reasonable for Ocean View.

Everything at the Best Western at Jacksonville Beach was up to our expectations. Service as good and friendly. Parking was easy in and out. The Breast was the Breakfast of Champions We will come back if the opportunity arises

We were very impressed with this hotel. The rooms were immaculate and the staff we encountered very friendly and efficient. The light and fun decor added to our enjoyment. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beach. The breakfast was nice and had a good variety of hot items like bacon eggs biscuits and gravy as well as a waffle bar with lots of choices for toppings. They also had some basic snacks and drinks availability for purchase at the desk in the lobby.

Beach front view terrific, beach front bar very convenient with pleasant atmosphere, evening lounge very pleasant well stocked with entertainment. Rooms clean and well furnished. exterior in very nice shape with what appears like new paint.

Hotel in a very good location. Can walk to restaurants and gift shops. If u want plaza/mall shopping will have to drive.On the beach which is great.all rooms not oceanview/oceanfront.rooms were a nice size. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay on Jax Beach,. Close to almost everything-near the pier, restaurants, night life and of course, the beach. Nice rooms, pretty good free breakfast. Covered parking. Reserve early if coming to events on the beach.

Nothing fancy but big spacious rooms that were clean and on point. On the beach and within walking distance to anything you may need or want including shops, restaurants, bars, and Walgreens is nearby for last minute items.

Very nice and clean facility. Located right on the beach and near plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment. All within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the bed and pillows were heavenly.

The hotel is a walk to the beach. Everything about the hotel looks old. There are a lot of homeless people in the area begging for food. Breakfast was good and the eating area was always clean. They served cookies in the afternoon. Drinks were always available. I stayed there for 4 nights, but my room only got cleaned once. Raven was a doll. She offered to clean my room after housekeeping left.

We enjoyed our stay here. This hotel is conveniently located next to the beach. The room was big and spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable. I love the modern decor of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly. We will definitely visit again.

I love how close to the beach we were. Breakfast was great and even better when taken to the beach to enjoy the sunrise. The rooms were clean and parking was nice being right there at the hotel. Enjoy!

Hotel is in a great location on Pensacola Beach. Service was very attentive. Got in late and hungry. Kitchen was closing but the front desk called down and asked them to wait for me. I had the Fish Taco's and they were excellent. Will stay again next time in Pensacola.

It was a spontaneous trip and no reservations were made until we got there... staff was very accommodating and attentive! I would go back anytime and recommend to everyone. Was an amazing experience!!

loved our room, we were upgraded to an oceanview and loved it except they were working on the balcony and the door was locked, which made the door a big picture window. We were very satisfied and the staff were great.

Room and hotel was very narrow, to the point of claustrophobic feeling. One elevator, very slow and TINY. No gym. Lots of noise and crowded breakfast area. I would recommend this place for college kids but not for families like mine this was more a party area than a peaceful escape. On the pro list, there were a lot of places within walking distance to shop and eat.

While the accommodations were a bit plain, which is typical of some beach hotels, the location was great. The only drawback was that housekeeping would start out in front of my room, but would skip it until late afternoon. Many times, I just asked for clean towels so that I could relax in my room without them starting to clean after I'd been at the beach all day. Breakfast was good, and my room had a great view of the ocean.

This hotel is very basic, but perfect if you want to spend most of your time on the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is free. Our room was clean and comfy. We enjoyed the above average complimentary breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is the easy access to the beach.

The location is excellent, beach, water, restaurants and bars were all very close. The room was recently refurbished and for the most part was very good. The walls and ceiling were tacky-60's finished and there was evidence of sloppy work and interface. Breakfast was very good, but crowded. With the exception of the food server, the staff were somewhat lackadaisical. Nothing had been done to the outside of the building and it looks poor.

Two things really negatively stuck out, the bathroom toilet ran the whole time I was there, someone is not paying attention, very annoying The security was very bad, right next to the boardwalk where there is a lot of foot traffic, including homeless people the rear door from the parking garage did not shut or lock and you can see from the rust and corrosion that it did not shut in a long time, this made me a little leery. Should be easy to maintain but it was not, shows you did not even look to see during normal maintenance. The breakfast was very good, and area was clean, the personnel was very helpful and nice

W had a very nice time. Not sure I'd give the girl a 5 but it was a little better than a 4. Times were very updated & nice. Little cramped in the lobby area during breakfast but it was manageable. Really enjoyed location as the was a very quaint bar next door with a wonderful group of bartenders.

From walking in the lobby to the clean room and wonderful staff it was a great stay. We were there to go to the Mayo Clinic and were excited to know that they had a shuttle available to us. We made the mistake of not asking the night before like we were supposed to do but they were able to get a hold of the driver and he took us for of visit in the afternoon. The staff really went out of the way to help us with everything we needed. A big thank you to the whole staff.

Hotel was ok. The photos looked nicer. The swimming pool is tiny as are the balconies. Not worth the extra money. Staff was nice and helpful. We found a huge cockroach in the room that remained there for the entire weekend. Must have been missed by the cleaning crew. Breakfast was great. There were lots of choices.

We wanted to experience the Atlantic side of Florida for the very first time. (we were not disappointed) The beach was clean and the Parasailing in St.Augustine was exciting adventure for us. Great deep sea fishing at Mayport.

Nice hotel..modern and updated with free parking and free hot breakfast..My only issue was housekeeping..The lady was super slow and never made it to clean our room and we were gone for many hours..other than that good choice!

It's right on the beach, next to the pier. Rooms are remodeled with a modern feel. They are a little small, but it's not like you'll be staying on the beach to stay in the room. Breakfast is free, and they serve up a pretty decent mix of items, hot and cold.

Nice location on the water the hotel staff was great, the complimentary breakfast was very goody. My only complaint would be the pool. Located in the parking lot there is very little room to walk around it. . This hotel has no outside space so I recommend a room with a balcony.

Great overnight- right at the beach. Close to shopping, restaurants, & the fishing pier. We had a great time at this hotel. There was covered parking, and the hotel had an elevator which was great for my elderly in-laws. There is a small outdoor pool, but we didn't use it because we were on the beach.

Dont be fooled be Beachfront . Hotel sits on Beach however the hotel has 14 rooms only that face the beach. The breakfast room is small and found eggs, waffles to be very dry. Towels are skimpy. When one pays 207.00 per night one 3xpects more.

You can tell that the hotel is older with some wear and tear but they've done an outstanding job remodeling it to give it a more modern look. The bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast, wifi and parking were great amenities you don't find very often. The best part about this hotel is the location! The ocean view can't be beat but the fact that you can walk to a bunch of different restaurants without ever having to get in your car was the best part! If we ever get the pleasure of visiting Jax Beach again, we'll be sure to stay here again!

This hotel is so accommodating, clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, very hospitable and I felt like they went above and beyond. The room was remodeled and very clean, amazing bed and pillows. The location is perfect right on the beach, steps away from sand.

We didn't feel welcomed. Ladies at front desk looked like we were bothering them the stairs weren't working also for some reason. Over all I don't believe we'll be booking again. We loved the location other than that nothing good nor bad seemed like we went to a cheap motel not a best western.

We were only here for one night but I would definitely consider a longer vacation here. Rooms Were very big, bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was better than going out to a restaurant! The location was right in the middle of everything in Jax beach so we really didn't need to get in our car until we left. The staff was also very helpful and friendly

Really enjoyed our stay here. Let me first say that we are not picky, snobby people. This was not a luxury hotel, but everything was very nice. We thought the breakfast was great. The coffee was really good. Eggs, sausage or bacon, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, fruit, waffles, bagels, yogurt, juice, and more. Every staff member we met were friendly & helpful. We were a little disappointed that the hotels on JAX beach sit behind a grassy area, so you can't hear the waves unless you turn off your air conditioning unit. We had a problem one night with a couple next door who brought 2 dogs in! of course they tried to say they were "service dogs" but they were not. And they were barking furiously around 1:30 to 2:00am. The front desk was awesome about it and even discounted that night for us. We were a little frustrated with how long it took to have our room cleaned. We only requested cleaning once while we were there. We came back in from the beach after 3:00 and they still hadn't cleaned it. But as soon as we inquired, they took care of it. We absolutely loved the Beachside Seafood Market Restaurant! Open air screening, excellent server and great prices for fresh seafood! Lots of bars within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Blind Rabbit Bourbon Bar & Restaurant. Publix was just a short drive away and we did go to the Target close by.

One of the best locations in the area. Exterior shows its age, but the rooms are clean and who can argue with breakfast every morning. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Great view of the pier and right on the beach.

I am a frequent visitor of this hotel. I normally stay around 2 or 3 times a year because it has always been my favorite. Best bang for your buck. But this last visit wasn't the best. There were water leaks throughout the hallways. The television, iron and telephone in my room did not work. Upon calling the front desk to complain about the television, I was told that it happens all the time. For the first time in three years, I wasn't happy with my stay.

No ventilation in the room, and window is not opening: health hazard! AC was broken and replaced with old but working one after complain. Awful odor in the room: stuff tried to clean fridge and AC(both were very dirty), but it didn't help much...

Flew to Florida last week to meet up with toddler grandkids and their parents. Beach was so close to hotel, rooms were clean and functional with traditional amenities like microwave, fridge etc. Staff was amazing - from early check in to check out. Shout out to June from housekeeping for above and beyond service! My husband loved the comfortable beds. Only inconvenience - Breakfast seating area was small.

Nice beachfront small property,can't beat the rates. lobby is a bit small,the free breakfast is small but decent. The beach was awesome,the surrounding areas had plenty to do within walking distance.Plenty of bars.

Seems like a fairly good location on the beach but we were not given the option to upgrade to an oceanview room when booking. The check-in clerk just added insult to injury saying we "just missed a free upgrade" when we checked in... oh well. Lobby / elevators were very cramped. Room was ok. "Breakfast" was one of the worst I've seen.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is a beautiful and charming hotel with ideal location directly oceanfront and surrounded by bars and restaurants for convenience. It is a local jewel ...dont miss this awesome beach experience

In a busy, somewhat loud area. Good for people looking to party, not good for people looking for a quiet location to relax. Breakfast was good and serving area clean. As others have noted, pool is very small and is basically in the parking lot.

Location was excellent. It was great to be right on beach and close to shops. We would have liked a gym and bigger lobby, as well as a hot tub in the pool, but rooms were spacious. Recommend this hotel and appreciated the free parking and breakfast.

We stay here because of the proximity to the fishing pier and the beach. The room, staff, breakfast, amenities, parking and location are tops! Highly recommend for anyone making a beach trip! Alicia, Jaime and the rest of the staff are very accommodating and pleasant!

I was supposed to stay here for a vacation, but ended up moving to Florida in the meantime. I called Booking.com and asked if they could cancel my reservation as I couldn't do it through Best WEstern website. I thought they were going to take care of it, but on April 8th, I received a call from the hotel and asked if I'd be showing up for my stay. I explained what happened and they cancelled the rest of my stay. I did have to pay for one night as they didn't know I was not coming as thye were not contacted by Booking.com and Booking didn't cancel the reservation.

Close to the beach. Walk through the parking lot to the beach. Pool is in the parking lot, on the street. Tiny lobby. Great breakfast. Restaurants and bars are close by. Staff is very pleasant. Tends to be an are of younger people.

Nice location right on the beach, with many shops & restaurants in walking distance. The room was clean, modern and nicely decorated. There were plenty of electrical outlets and nice fluffy towels. The bed was very comfortable and the amenities provide everything you need.

Stayed there for a show, we are production and stay at many hotels. This one is very clean, new pillows, soft beds, nice price. It's also walking distance to all the local bars, will be staying there again.

Parking is TIGHT and minimal. Not even enough spots for the allotted number of room this hotel has. Extremely pricey for minimal amenities even though it is on the beach. Breakfast area was NOT thought out... at all.... Again TIGHT SPACE in a very small, cramped area. Elevator was sketchy... Took forever to arrive and there are only 3 floors. Once in the elevator, it dips and makes you think the cable is going to break. Our room smelled AWFUL if the AC was not kept down below 70 degrees. Water pressure was terrible. Barely enough pressure to rinse off, let alone, wash my hair.

We made our annual pilgrimage to the Jax Beach Best Western and had a great time. It was a party weekend, so we took the peripheral noise for what it was. The staff was great and we saw many familiar faces. See you in 2020!

We stayed at this property last year, and we had a wonderful experience. When we had an opportunity to return to Jax Beach for a week this year to see our daughter, we booked here again. Our experience was not as great. Our first night there, we pulled back the sheets to find several hairs in the bed. After 2 calls to the front desk, we finally got a new set of sheets that fit. At the same time, my husband killed a very large "flying water bug" (roach), so they brought us a can of Raid. This all happened after 11 pm after a full day of travel. The manager comped us that first night, which we appreciated. The rest of the week brought us several smaller, but very avoidable issues, including: room left unlocked after housekeeping had been in to service the room, coffee service not refilled all week, no washcloths left for us after towels were changed, a second roach in the room, no room cleaning on one day, no tp or tissue refill after room was serviced another day, no shampoo left with toiletry refill (2 conditioners), and a very slow shower drain. It seems that the housekeeping and maintenance has suffered over the last 12 months. That said, we enjoyed the location right on the beach, and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. I just wish our experience with our room had been as good as a year ago.

I don't go to the beach to look at a wall.I am certain I didnot reserve this room type. would never go back there.I don't know if Booking .com, or Best Western made mistake. Two types rooms listed oceanfront and city view. This was neither, couldn't see nothing but wall of next hotel. very disspointing to me and my family.

This is a very nice clean motel. The staff Is friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. All updated furnishings. With a awesome view of the beach. In walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I will definitely be taking my family again for a enjoyable beach get away. Two thumbs up in my book .

Bed very comfortable with soft cozy covers. Nice sitting space and soothing decor. Area felt safe and inviting for all guests. Beach was nice and flat, making it easier for those with walking issues to maneuver.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our oceanfront room was comfortable and while the deck was small we spent a lot of time there. Breakfast was excellent. I was especially impressed with the coffee?. How often do you get a decent cup of coffee at a hotel?

Used to be a little run down, but rooms have been completely remodeled. Service was excellent. Location is perfect. Bargain for the area. Breakfast is included and your walking distance to great bars and restaurants and right on the beach.

Staying at this BW was definitely one of the best decisions I have made lately. I called last minute and Raven was super helpful accommodating my request & booking my room. The hotel is clean and the staff was super efficient & friendly. The manager Jamie was a ray of sunshine during breakfast. Full of tips on the local eats and activities. Highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is on a small piece of land. It has 3 real room locations, on the north side facing a very nearby restaurant, some on the beach on some on the south side with small balconies. The room we had was very clean but quite spartan with very little in the way of decoration. Water pressure was very low and it was hard to take a shower. Elevator is small and noisy Very side assortment of eats for breakfast, including the capacity to make your own waffles. Very small pool next to street.

This hotel was very clean and very small! It was a nice place to stay for our little couples getaway! During our visit to Jacksonville beach there was an art walk right around our hotel which was very fun! The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and bars and is also very close to the pier. If I were to stay again I would definitely get an ocean view room though!

We were in town for a visit to the Mayo Clinic and decided to take some beach time also. This hotel was a great choice. It is easy to get to the clinic from this location while also convenient to dining, shopping, nightlife and the beach. Our room included an ocean front balcony which was a wonderful place to unwind after a long day of medical tests, or have morning coffee. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The only reason I rated it 4 rather than 5 is that it can be somewhat noisy around the hotel. Would definitely recommend to groups, couples, families and singles.

Great location to walk on the boardwalk, beach, pier, or to bars and restaurants. Room was clean and comfy, breakfast was great (although tight quarters), and wi-fi was good. We did not pay the upcharge for an ocean view balcony, but got a good room in a good location with a partial ocean view from a small balcony.

What an odd motel construction. The property overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, but the building is turned the wrong way, so my room had a window looking into the office building next door. Lesson: Beware of the enticing title "Oceanfront." I could just as well have been in Peoria. The breakfast, front desk, room are nothing special, but you are close to the boardwalk.

This was my second time staying at this Hotel and I would 100% stay again. Rooms are modernly renovated and very clean. The hotel is walking distance to about 4 breweries and several bars and restaurants with beach front access. (No need for DD or ubers!!) Parking is free and convenient, and pretty much everything you need is within walking distance. Staff were great, literally nothing to complain about!!

everything with my stay went well. the location was great. Granted not really a family location but for last minute booking I couldn't ask for any better of a place. Our stay was excellent! Walk right to the beach from the hotel. Very nice room and the king size bed was very comfortable. Great bars and restaurants in walking distance along with very good shops. We will definatley stay there again.

It was our first visit to Jacksonville for the night. The stay was great. Soft bed, lots of pillows and the shower was very nice. Walking distance to Joe's Crab Shack. Beautiful beach view. Lots of lil clubs to stop and enjoy a drink. We will stay again.

They have done a great remodel on the property, modern and very functional. Clean and great friendly staff. I love a fee breakfast, they offer good healthy food and some less healthy food for the rest of us.

We chose to come to BW as we had multiple visits to Mayo Clinic Hospital. We have been treated like family since our first reservation, and now after about eight stays, the staff recognizes us by name. What a great way to recover.

Stayed for 3 nights. We booked ocean front with balcony room and the view was great and the room was nice. Only issue we had was with the balcony. It's very small with high concrete walls and the AC unit is out there as well, and its kind of loud when it kicks on. Our neighbour was smoking on his balcony and your so close together that there were times we couldn't enjoy our balcony. Asked staff if smoking was allowed and they said no and they did call that room but he continued to smoke out there. Restaurants, bike rentals and stores in walking distance. Overall, a nice place to spend a couple days by the beach.

Very spacious and clean rooms. Decorated with a cool beach vibe. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were most comfortable! The location was right on the beach and in the middle of all the Jax Beach action.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was really good to my standards. The beds were really comfortable. There was a short walk to the beach out the back door from the Hotel. The balcony was spacious enough for my family of 5 to watch the Waves as they crashed on the nearby shore.

We had no problem finding the hotel the location was amazing the rooms was clean the only problem was the coffee pot in the room but overall was a wonderful stay the breakfast was wonderful. The wait time was short

Far exceeded my expectations. Location could not of been better. Free parking. Location is on the beach so walked and saw the sunrise. Brewakfast was great. Staff was friendly. Rooms are very clean- even the remote in a sanitized bag.

Chose the ocean side room with two queen beds. The room was clean, beds comfortable, balcony was great and had seating, there's a refrigerator, safe, iron and hairdryer. The shower was large and updated. Keep in mind the room is pretty small due to extra desk and furniture. We didn't mind the size with three of us though. The breakfast y'all...so freaking good. Every morning is waffles, eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with optional toppings, yogurt, cereal, bagels, danishes, etc, and a cool coffee machine that grinds the beans for each cup. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Parking was easy and covered. And this place is surrounded by clubs and restaurants to walk to, as well as easy access to the beach. Great location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had to come in from out of town for Dr visits & went with Best Western oceanfront, & do not regret it one bit. We consider ourselves blue collar middle class & this was probably the cleanest friendliest hotel we've stayed at. I've worked in hospitality in my younger days, & the cleanliness was impressive & very important. I love it's on the beach, so just cross the boardwalk & enjoy the beautiful view of white Sandy beach. If we have a need to stay in this area again, we will stay here.

Just returned a couple of days ago. 2 doors away occupants were being very loud and many people coming and going out of room. Started about 11PM and finally ended at 2PM. Hotel was responsive and kicked them out, but somehow the occupants snuck in thru stairwell and returned to room 5 min later. To me this is a security breakdown that this was able to happen. Keys should have been accounted for and disabled when they were removed the first time. Again BW staff was responsive and gave a decent discount for our stay, but I would rather know I am safe. Also during this time. I called the front desk repeatedly for 15 min and got no answer. That was a bit unnerving! It occurred to me that desk agent might be checking things out, but they should have security for that. I came very close to calling 911 myself. No idea of desk agent had gotten hurt etc.

Didn"t realize oceanfront meant that you could only see the building next door from your window. Room was clean, lobby was very compact. It was right on the beach which was nice. Weather didn'tcooperate, too cold to walk on the beach.

We booked this hotel so we could be close to Jaxport for a cruise the next morning. We were were surprised and impressed with the service and the motel. Next time we come to Florida, we will make reservations here again and stay a few days.

Room was great, the area was nice. The lobby can use some remodeling. Good service for the price in winter. In the summer this place can ve pricey but the location dictate the price .I woukd recomend it for a weekend getaway ..

On a business trip, I wanted to stay by the beach without spending a lot of money. This is a small hotel right on the beach. I was not able to get a room with a view, but it was understandable since I was only staying overnight. Breakfast was the normal stuff you find, but I did think it tasted better than what I typically get at chain hotels.

The hotel was great. The receptionist, Raven, was lovely and upgraded our room to one with an ocean view; the room was large, clean, quiet and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.

This hotel is conveniently located and small but complete. It was quiet, and the beds were VERY comfortable. The ocean view room we had made it almost perfect. I say that because everything was up to par except that the carpets were VERY dirty! Also, the bathroom needed rehab because of moisture damage--maybe needs an exhaust fan??

We were so pleased with this hotel. The room was exactly how it looked online. We were traveling to Disney from Ohio and stopped in Jax beach for the night. My son had never been to the ocean so the plan was to play a little in the water and relax for a night before heading to Disney. Well, we got stuck in traffic and didn't arrive at the hotel until 7pm and it was dark. The front desk clerk was so nice and extended our check out time in the morning so my son could play in the ocean. She even looked up the time of the sunrise so we could enjoy that too. We can't wait to return to Jax Beach and stay at this hotel again! Loved relaxing and listening to the ocean!!

Excellent location and people. Hotel room was very nice with a excellent view of the ocean. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and genuinely glad to see you. One of the better hotel experiences we've had!

Perfect location. Great breakfast, clean rooms, friendly front desk staff. Excellent bedding that was so comfortable, I slept very soundly. Really enjoyed the magic coffee machine in the lobby and fresh warm cookies to snack on.

I loved the balcony view of beach. It had a comfortable bathroom with walk in shower. Good breakfast. Parking near to door. Elevator and services good. Fun neighborhood with lots of shops and facilities.

Hotel is comparatively affordable for the location. Clean and comfortable. Staff is kind, efficient, and helpful. Some restaurants within walking distance. Easy beach access. Not all rooms face beach, so request this if this is important.

Staff was again outstanding. Check in and out perfect. Our room was great. The young lady overseeing breakfast was continuously refreshing items and asking if we were able to find all we wished. Everyone asked if our room was as requested, if we needed anything, or had any questions. An outstanding team. Our second visit. We will be back.

This is the best BW I've stayed in. Very clean, great location and convenient to many great restaurants and services. Room was clean and the shower was awesome. I would highly recommend this BW to anyone traveling for business or leisure. The bedding was the most impressive of all.

Great hotel in a great location. We had an oceanfront room that had amazing views of the ocean. The balcony was small and needed some updating but still very nice. The breakfast was better than expected, plenty to choose from including hot food. We walked to Joe's crab shack and carrabba's to eat, several other places you could walk to. The airport was about a half hour drive. The staff were all very nice!

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western Jax Beach,Fl. Romm was clean,comfy and staff super nice. Def going back. Room was on beach near tons of bars and restaurants. We went to Lynches irish pub after dinner and had a great time. Everything was in walking distance.

I was all scheduled to go to Bimini, Bahamas and had to change my plans. So I started looking. I live in Jacksonville so I new it would be Jacksonville Beach because I couldn't travel too far. There it was Best Western Oceanfront. It was rainy so I wanted to check in early. Jamel Mullins, General Manager to the rescue. The room wasn't ready but she took my number. She offered her amenities (bathroom, drinks, etc) until the room was ready. She called in a couple hours just as I'd finished an early lunch. The room was awesome. King sized bed, microwave, frig and all right in the middle of Jax Beach. Full breakfast and great fresh coffee. Happy New Year!!!

This hotel location is convenient, the room and common areas clean, the breakfast was delicious, all of the staff was courteous. It is located close to the pier. I was just there overnight so I didn't have much time to explore. This was my first visit and I hope to visit again and again.

A huge balloon & a dozen yellow roses surprised me on my birthday. Exotic sunrises bathed my balcony. Six pillows on my sumptuously comfortable king bed. Lovely & clean spacious oceanfront balcony room. Professional staff paid major attention to every need & detail. Delicious hot breakfast every morning. All I can say is ... I love this place.

Paid for ocean front room at above average prices and expected above average accommodations. The balcony was tiny and there were tile missing off the roof off our balcony. The window unit HVAC unit was extremely loud. Not to mention we killed a cockroach the size of a small car. No internet connection for my laptop. Front desk said they knew about the problem, but IT department couldn't figure out. Had to drive to coffee shop to do my work. Staff was nice though.

Clean room, friendly staff and Awesome location!This location is a smaller facility but we found this to be a positive not a negative. We never felt that we were fighting crowds and that we got a lot of personalized attention from the staff.

We stayed there at the last minute due to unexpected medical treatment at Mayo Hospital. Staff became family and our rooms were great. The beds were so comfortable!! Breakfast is great. We already have rooms reserved in February for return visit to hospital!!

Everything was great!! Room was very comfortable with 2 queen beds and a large TV. Everything was very clean. Would highly recommend. A great breakfast was served in the morning. The receptionist at the front desk was efficient and friendly.

Hidden Jewel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The hotel is located right on the ocean and has a great view, as well as being convenient located to about a dozen restaurants and bars....walking distance. Stumbling across this cute and charming hotel was a blessing.

Stayed at Best Western Oceanfront for a long weekend. Great location in Jacksonville Beach located near restaurants, bars and shopping. Hotel staff was very friendly and service oriented. The room had a great view of the ocean and was nicely decorated. Did have an issue with sliding glass door not working properly and air conditioner was very noisy. Breakfasts were very good. Parking easy and convenient and you're on the beach

This was our first stay here and were were absolutely thrilled! Location is superb and facility is fabulous!! Staff were friendly, complimentary breakfast was excellent, super clean, and the bed was more comfortable than ours at home!

Friendly, helpful staff. Great value for the money, right on the Beach. Easy to get to Jacksonville itself, or down to St Augustine. Good breakfast! Definitely a great choice if you visit that area. A number of guests when we were there were repeat customers. A lot of JAX Beach in easy walking distance.

Great location to some great eateries, the beach, shopping, and good beer. The staff was outstanding here and very helpful. Friendly people at nearby establishments with great insight on places to visit. Highly recommend and we will stay here again

This hotel is small but in a great location on the beach and near restaurants. The rooms are recently remodeled and updated nicely. Opt for a room with a balcony. The only thing to mention is that the fridge and coffee maker are hidden when the bathroom door is open. The lobby is pretty small, which makes breakfast a bit congested, but it was clean and well stocked. Covered onsite parking for free is a bonus.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Jax Beach!!! Location is excellent, staff is extremely friendly, rooms are exceptionally clean. It's a smaller hotel but do not let the size fool you. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Jax Beach; it's within walking distance of all restaurants and bars.

3rd Floor, Oceanfront with balcony. Room was very clean but had musty smell and air conditioner was extremely loud and AC output was not efficient. GREAT location to various restaurants, sports bars and pier. Walking took about 5 minutes and adequate sidewalks to do so.

Plus it is on the beach...several negatives Very busy/noisy area bars, etc...Parking is tight...roooms are very small, updated and ok.One elevator....patios need improvement Did not try out the breakfast area very small areaBW probably needs to require owners to improve the property

Great balcony view of ocean. Beach is walking distance. Updated hotel, clean room, great breakfast included and coffee was great. Nearby restaurants and bars. Great for families or couples. Definitely recommend.

I would recommend this place to other visitors to Florida, my wife and I had a great stay. Breakfast was very good, eggs, Bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereals, patries. if you can't find something you like, well I don't know what to tell you. The staff go all out to please you, including maintenance and house keeper's.

Clean , efficient, good location , no probs with anything but I spent less than 24hrs here so keep that in mind .ice machine near room was handy , pool looked really bad was tiny didn't even try it , close to boardwalk and beach.

My stay at this hotel was relaxing. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants and drinking establishments. Not to mention just steps to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly.

Everything was perfect! The Hotel is not to far from the business district - Nice to stay on the beach while you work! Beautiful area to be able to get out and walk after a long day of work! Cute Little shops, great restaurants within walking distance all around the area.

This is by far the smallest hotel we have ever stayed in but it just might be my favorite. There's not much more you could ask for really. I spent hours upon hours looking for the perfect place to "getaway" for our 5th anniversary and was very close to booking another hotel down the road but was completely taken aback by the resort fees and parking fees that I knew I wasnt willing to shell out. I came across this little gem that offered the same view, large rooms, no extra fees and even a hot breakfast. I'm so glad we decided to stay here. We booked a king oceanview which was spacious and well laid out. Nicely decorated although not really "romantic" but still nice and the shower was awesome, it definitely has inspired us to give our own home's bathroom a makeover! The bed and pillows were awesome, probably the best out of any hotel we have stayed at. We enjoyed the hot breakfast except for the pancakes and waffles which weren't very tasty to be honest but the fresh cookies nightly were a pleasant surprise and completely made up for the pancakes in my opinion. There was some roof work going on but the workers were very courteous and we didn't much mind. All in all, this little hotel was near perfect. If they had a better pool they would be golden but it was so small and unappealing that we didn't end up using it but even so I don't think it takes away anything from the rest of the hotel. Thank you for providing a safe and lovely place for us to celebrate.

Have stayed here several times on our way to and from other southern Fla destinations. They are always working to upgrade the property--almost there! Very nice roomy rooms. Beds are great. TV is extensive. Breakfast is the best--not a big buffet like Embassy but plentiful and hot. Always nice to see Jamie at the front desk. She has become a fixture there. A great little bar right next door and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. See you next trip BWOF!!

Although it is an older place, it has been updated and kept nice. Staff very nice and helpful. Has a great hot breakfast. room updated and comfortable. Bed quite comfortable. The have a free shuttle which was great since I was not familiar with the area. Right on the beach!

Stayed here after hospital stay. Okay, not the best, Best Western I ever stayed at. The breakfast was adequate. Just a bit disappointed for being on the ocean. i dont know what else I can say. Why is it nescessary to have a 200 character review.

Room small but clean, a little musky but most oceanside rooms are. Every thing was OK. Enjoyed the ocean view. Great location. Good Uber service to anywhere. Eating and drinking places within walking distance.

We had an oceanfront room with balcony. Room was very clean andbed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. Eating area small, but was ok. All of the staff were very friendly and available. WiFi was down a few times during our 4 day stay but for only a short periods of time.

If you want a beach front hotel at a reasonable price, this is it. The breakfast is the very best. The view is incredible. The front desk staff is great. I apologize but I only remeber the name of Raven and Alyicia. The entire staff is great. The lady serving breakfast never stopped working. She was busy cleaning or serving everytime I saw her.

Overall experience was good, parking is limited Lobby is very small but clean and their rooms were good. The only issue I had is the price per night and in our room, there were water damage in the ceiling in the bathroom.

After some initial confusion about my reservation, the manager and staff corrected the problem and our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and attractive with a surfer theme appropriate for the beach. The lobby was nice with an attractive breakfast room. A hot breakfast was served every day!

This is a nice,clean, modern beach and surf themed hotel. It's in a great location, right on the beach near a boardwalk & public restrooms. Lots of restaurants, bars entertainment & even a Walgreens. All are within walking distance. It has a small pool near street & check in area. Fine for kids, but no real lounging space for adults.

We were in Jacksonville Beach for a Mayo Clinic visit and chose this hotel for the beach location. The staff was nice and the rooms were clean but the parking garage, interior hallways, elevator area and office/dining area was very cramped and hard to navigate

It's a TINY (This isn't a bad thing, I just was not prepared for how small it was) hotel right in the beach and downtown. It was clean. It had the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. Overall I was very happy with my stay.

Great locaction...right on the beach. Good size room and very comfortable beds. Sink is inside the bathroom which is very small. Breakfast was very good with nice selection and always replenished. Lobby and balcony were small. Overall, we were pleased and would stay there again.
