The Personnel Staffs made it welcoming. The room, although small and compacted but was clean. The internet service was average. There breakfast was good. It had varieties and the timing could be expanded. The parking lot was very compacted.

Fantastic staff. Gave us lots of directions and ideas to get around to attractions. Lizette victor and jesus and nick were major helps to us when we needed it. I would suggest having better tea and coffee in room facilities for the avis when the breakfast run is done.

"Noisy room, but not bad hotel"

The only thing I can complain about is the very noisy rooms. The hotel is at a corner of two very busy road wiht havy traffic, and unfortunatelly the windows are so thin, that it seems to you, that they are open... And they have a pool, whick is a joke, they should plant a tree instead of that ridiculous mini pool, in the middle of the parking lot. Otherwise this hotel is not bad, has a great breakfast, friendly and afficient stuff, and clear rooms. On the other side of the road there is a big shopping area with Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, Pollo Loco, Subway, Fridays, Ross - dress for less, and a huge supermarket also.

We want you to know that we definitely take the noise levels to heart, this is why starting mid month we will be replacing all our exterior windows with double pane glass to dampen the noise. We also agree that the Hotel is surrounded by lots of places to visit, so its a great place to stay. We would also like to correct something, we don't have a pool, its a Jacuzzi or also known as a hot tub, you couldn't expect anyone to swim in that ...Thanks again.

Hotel is 5 mil from airport. Well positioned. Equiped with parking and standard clean rooms. Swimming pool is Not really swimming pool. Breakfast is dsavy but you can make some choice. Food store, Fridays, Starbucks are near across the street

Good attitude and very helpful with our needs. Leticia and Lizette had great attitudes and very nice. The comfort of the stay was cozy and clean. I would recommend to stay there again. Price is a little high but worth it I guess.

Very clean and comfortable.Overall very satisfied with my stay. We stayed at this hotel with my mom and her brother.The rooms was well decorated and up to date. Room was neat & clean.Good thing is cleanliness.The staff was very friendly and helpful.Service has been great.We hope to come again soon!

"Not a great location"

We stayed here for 1 night after coming of a long flight from Amsterdam. The lady at the frontdesk was friendly, we didnt have to pay for the parking, which was great. The location of the hotel is not in a great neighbourhood, it is on a busy street where cars drive by constantly. The room smelled a but musty and it wasnt great, for one night it was fine. Wouldn't stay longer though. Wifi was working fine.

We are working hard to complete the work, however our Hotel is in a high demand area and are not able to get to every room quickly due to the low vacancy so we can't close down too many rooms at the same time so we move with the demand. Called and cancelled with more than 24 hours notice. Employee said it was cancelled. Best Western charged my credit card anyway. Refused to refund the charges because the employee did not provide a reference number. I have a screenshot of the call so they should be able to tell who I was speaking to. They literally robbed me, Victor the manager was extremely unhelpful and accused me of lying about it. Crooks

"Bottom of the barrel"

This is a bottom end hotel for accommodations near the airport. The pick up van driver is also the luggage handler and there is only one person on the front desk. The hotel is old and run down although they are in the mist of doing renovations. The hotel is very dated and is not in the best part of town.

"Three tries and still struck out."

First room - smelled like a cigarette and sinks didn't drain. Second room - smelled like someone just got finished smoking the biggest blunt. Which is fine if you're a smoker I guess...but I'm not so I don't want it in my clothes. Third room - smells nice. sinks drain. Yes!!!....no, roaches. Didn't get s pick of the big one...but here's the little baby. Ugh. I'm just gonna wrap myself into a burrito and try to sleep as best as I can...with the lights on. [still, I have to say that the young lady at the front desk was super sweet and very helpful. It's just unfortunate that this hotel is so raggedy.] not worth $135.

The receptionist at the front desk completely messed up my check-in process. She booked me twice for the same night. She did not comprehend anything I requested. She has horrible customer service as well and she's a liar too!

Hello Sir, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience with us, however your not being very truthful when you say our Front Desk Agent made two separate reservations for you. The fact is that you should be talking to your fellow traveler (R.H) who booked a second reservation for you guys and mentioned nothing upon check in. You made one through an online travel agency and the second through our reservation department, not directly through the Hotel. For one to assume the Hotel would know this is beyond me. I believe this is something that you should have been aware of and informed us so we may have been able to cancel one of the reservations, unless your original plan was to have your own individual rooms and changed your minds later. Knowing this we do not appreciate you labeling any of our employees as a liar when they had nothing to do with your error. Honesty is the best policy...Thanks again for your time.

"Best Western? More like a Worst Western"

This is clearly an old and dated property that shouldn't be part of the Best Western chain. It looks as shabby on the outside as it is on the inside. My room smelled terribly of mold and if I hadn't just arrived from a twelve-hour flight I would have insisted on a different room (though I'm not sure if that would have been better). The girl from the front desk sprayed some air freshener in the room so it didn't smell as bad, but that didn't help much. Everything in the room was quite old and it wasn't exactly spotless clean either. Also, noise from the street, the airport, and other guests (two "ladies" chatting noisily outside my room around midnight) made sleeping difficult. The only good thing was that they waive the parking fee for Elite members and give them bonus points AND a snack pack (at most other BW hotels you have to choose between the two). But considering that I paid about $120 for a night at one of the worst "Best" Western hotels I've ever seen, that didn't help much.

"Get a-way for a night"

The hotel room was very romantic and quite. The jacuzzi in the room was a great touch for a honeymoon get-away. The front desk was helpful. The breakfast was great. The parking fee no so much. The bed was very comfortable.

"Avoid this hotel"

This hotel has a very shabby appearance on the exterior, the front desk and the corridors. The rooms, however, appear to be in order, reasonably neat and tidy, The front desk staff were not helpful inasmuch as they failed to note our requests, as BW platinum awards cardholders, for late check out and shuttle service at 1.30 p.m. causing us to be late for airport check-in. I asked for a room away from the traffic, but was given one looking out on the main thoroughfare with heavy traffic around the clock. Could not sleep due to the din of noise.

It also sounds like a late check out isn't what you needed if you got to the Airport late. Part of our renovation includes replacing the windows on the street side with double pane windows to reduce the noise for our guest that stay in the front. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful. This is an older hotel; but is clean and is about to be renovated. Great place to be if you are going to be on flight the next day because the airport is close and they have a free shuttle service to pick you up from and drop you at the airport.

Renovations under completion are very nice. Staff was very courteous and professional. Parking spaces were small and challenging. Breakfast was tasty and the dining area was very clean and updated. I would stay at this location again.

"Dated exterior but comfortable room and wonderful staff"

The hotel wasn't as close to the airport as I expected and the exterior is dated. However, that first impression was quickly forgotten. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff is wonderful. My email inquiry about checkin and the shuttle was answered promptly in a friendly manner. The shuttle driver, Alex was helpful and friendly. Although we were late for our checkin after a delayed flight, John, on the front desk was very welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety at breakfast and Lisette on the front desk helped us plan an outing, stored our luggage and made us very welcome when we had a few hours wait before heading to the airport, using their free shuttle.

dirty. should not have the BW name attached to it. It was more like a hotel for hourly stays. check in was horrble and slow. no rewards program applied. allowed people he knew to break into the queue.room smelled moldy adn one of the chairs had been soiled on the seat. pillows are lousy.

"Great Location with Free Shuttle to Airport"

The room was comfortable and it was great for a 1 night stay. It was quiet so we managed to get a few hours sleep before departing early to the airport. The shuttle service was excellent with a great driver.

"Late airport shuttle, cold water didn't work"

I called for the airport shuttle when I was down at passenger pick-up. They told me the airport shuttle would take 20-25 minutes to arrive at the airport. 45 minutes later I had to call and ask where they were. The shuttle finally arrived over an hour after my first call. I know traffic is heavy in LA. But don't estimate 20-25 if it sometimes takes over an hour. Tell me 20-70 minutes if you have to. Also, the cold water didn't work in my room sink. It was scalding hot on both the cold and hot sides. I had to come down to the front desk twice to report this and ask for a place to fill my water bottle with cold water. They only offered me another room on the second visit down.

Welcome and service were excellent. Room was excellent. Breakfast was ok but could have provided more hot options. Free Airport shuttle was a godsend! Overall I would happily stay there again and would happily recommend it to others.

The Hotel was just ok the free breakfast was great the staff was friendly but the walls are thin you can hear people talking in rooms and outside it often woke me up it was too high priced for what you got.

We were comfortable in this Best Western for one night en route to our home in Oregon. Our flight from Costa Rica landed two hours late so our arrival at LAX was about 10:00 pm. By the time we went through customs, it was 11:00pm or so. We were glad to see the shuttle arrive quickly, and even with our late arrival, check in was smooth. If I was staying in LA for a few days, I doubt this would be our choice.However, for overnight the hotel served our needs well--always like those waffles in the morning. On our way to Costa Rica, we stayed at Best Western Airpark and we preferred Airport Plaza Inn.

We got a room with two king size beds which was very comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. However, I want to mention two employees who went out of their way to help us: Victor and Gita were extremely helpful in providing us with details about the area. We were visiting from the Washington, DC area and had a 6-yr old son and Victor suggested activities that the whole family would enjoy. He even printed details for us and marked various areas of interest on a map. We had lots of questions and Victor and Gita answered all of them patiently. Gita was also very helpful with making changes to our reservations last-minute. Because of Victor and Gita, we ended up extending our stay at Best Western 3 more days. Next time we are in the LA area, we will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you, Victor and Gita!

"Not what it seems"

I checked out minutes after checking in. I requested a refund but the manager said that policy requires I pay the first night. I understand the hotel policy but under the circumstances I think an exception should have been made. I was traveling alone with my daughter and I just DID NOT feel safe in this hotel. Police officers evicting a guest who was screaming in the lobby as we were walking in from a very very long flight. The rooms in this hotels are exterior rooms so you can see and hear everything. There was a man smoking by our window and the service people up and down the hallway. The police officers standing by that guest's room door. And then at check-out this man in the lobby sitting, rocking back and forth and sweating. He looked very sick. The manager was trying to help him. He seemed to know him and seems to know his guests. Other guests of the hotel shouldn't have to deal with that. I reserved somewhere else and I checked out. BW email says I checked out on the 6th but In reality I checked out on the 5th. That's only so BW can bill me for that one night. time. I don't know what happened here. These circumstances are beyond anyone's control but I (the guest) should not have to pay for it. "Functional"

This is not a pretty hotel in an uninspiring location. But it performed well functionally providing a clean, comfortable location the day before our flight. The reception was packed with people waiting for a transfer. The parking charge was a surprise - this should be better advertised. The breakfast room was small and packed with people.

"Solid clean hotel"

No nonsense hotel with good clean rooms and exceptional service. Shuttle took us straight to the airport and Wi-Fi was fast. Parking is easy and close to good restaurants and movies. We caught an early flight (5:30) so did not try the breakfast but the managers had a to go bag! Very accommodating!

Location and appearance is perfect for easy get away especially in getting to the Airport to catch your flight. Though, they charge money to park overnight which was not mention when booking through the internet.

"Quick layover in LA"

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were more than adequate considering it's a Best Western, and their decor is typically outdated, but this room was very comfy. Hot breakfast was good, lots of selection.

"Enjoyed this location"

While the location and appearance is less than stellar, I found it to be neat and clean. It was a very secure area with the parking inside of the hotel walls in an open area around the outdoor seating a hot tub. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. The building is a bit aged, but that is to be expected, it has been around for a long time. What I liked was the proximity to the airport, restaurants, and taverns.

"No Bells and Whistles"

While the accommodations were adequate. For the price, I would have expected a room without a stale, musty odor. I think with some upgrades to the hotel, it would go over much better. I have been to other BW and experienced a better overall experience from the lobby alone. The check in area was cramped and tiny. Appeared low budget to say the least. More of a Motel vibe...Eggs at breakfast were processed or powdered. Not appealing. Guests outside on balcony smoking marijuana can't add to the appeal. I was traveling alone and it was uncomfortable and a bit scary going to my room at night.

However I have learned to appreciate it, even when it hurts their is always some truth to what we are told. This is why we have implemented a renovation project at our location. We do have a non smoking policy in our rooms however we do accommodate smoking outside in the corridor. We do not condone the smoking of anything else. We hope to finish our project by the start of the new year and we encourage you to give us another chance upon completion of our renovation. "Convenient Bargain"

This hotel is a bargain for the area near LAX. There is a shuttle but we had rented a car. The staff was excellent, friendly and attentive. The location was in a nice area. The coffee in the room was not good. The room entrance was, motel like as it was outside instead of an indoor corridor. The cleaning service carts made a loud rumbling noise as they passed our room. The water temperature was tricky to manage. The breakfast variety was a redemptive feature. Having to pay for parking was a negative. Overall, I would probably go back anyway.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Although they were doing renovations during our stay, and we weren't aware of this prior to booking, they didn't start construction prior to 9am so didnt affect our sleep. The rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Absolutely would stay here again.

Smelled aweful, rooms were inconvenient and the spa was locked other than the maids that spent their lunch there, was a lingering smell at the hotel and the room that was unbearable and the screen/window was broken and not cleaned for years.

We were stuck in BWI and missed our flight to Hawaii from LAX. Made reservations for the hotel at BWI and rebooked our flight $$$$. So I was not in a good mood when we got in. The shuttle driver was great, the employee who checked us in, sorry forgot his name was very kind and caring. As I looked out the window I saw a Panda Express across the street and my mood really lifted. Real food instead of expensive tasteless airport food. The hotel is nothing fancy, it reminds me of a BW we stayed in Washington DC for my Mom's funeral. Has a courtyard in the middle with parking underneath. Only two floors so not a huge motel at all, that said the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a microwave and refrig. Had a good nights sleep, the breakfast was great with all the usual foods. Only oops were the seasoned potatoes, they were only seasoned with pepper. too spicy for me. Since this was an "unplanned" stop I needed to get a few things, in addition to the toothpaste and toothbrush the hotel furnished. There was a shopping center across the street with CVS, Ross and Ralphs. Oh and we walked past a restaurant which was closed as a new cooking show was being shot. Only in LA. Overall it was nothing fancy but clean, near restaurants, with kind, caring employees. Thanks Guys!!

Excellent customer service. Rooms are a little outdated and overdue for remodeling. Nevertheless the rooms are clean and cozy. Parking is a little cramped with tight spots. Excellent breakfast places are walking distance.

We picked this for the hotel shuttle p/u and drop off at airport. Only here for a 9 hour layover. Room was fine but location not a very nice one. Older hotel, only saw one employee who was doing his best but very slow and 2 groups ahead of us and 11:30 pm.

Room was much nicer and fresher than other hotels in the area. Staff was helpful, breakfast was surprisingly good. We went there to rest and take off and the hotel was perfect for the landing and the launching.

I stayed after a long flight from a London, arriving after 1am London time. First, don't bother with the shuttle on arrival; I called on a uk mobile five times for pickup and each time was put on hold without any acknowledgement. After the fifth time I caught a cab instead, and that cost $28, so factor that into the price of the room and it's not such great value - I should have booked the Sheraton or Hilton or Westin. The building and the room itself is a standard motel type - tired and a little worn but clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood is pretty urban. A TGI Fridays is very close by and I didn't feel unsafe walking there at 7pm local time. Breakfast is again standard motel issue but free. The airport shuttle driver in the morning was a gem and the reason I gave 3 stars; both parties on board were returning to LAX just to collect rental cars and he took both parties to the rental depots rather than to the airport. The guy who answered the phone to me five times the night before (I think his name was Nick) should speak to the shuttle driver about how to treat customers.

We tried 2 rooms and both had never ending noises in the walls and ceilings. Room smelled like smoke. Whole hotel (motel) smelled like weed when we checked in because there was a guy smoking a large blunt on the interior courtyard. Apparently that is exceptable there. Their night manager of 22 years is not real receptive of constructive criticism. Do yourself a favor and stay at the other nearby BW. We will definitely not stay here again. I stay in 7 BWs over the past 10 nights and this place was BY FAR the absolute worst.

We stayed at this this hotel for 4 nights last week and I would urge anyone staying there in the future to leave a cash deposit when checking in instead of handing your credit / debit card over for ID / pre authorisation purposes ..We gave my wife's debit card in and the receptionist swiped her card and said there was a problem with her card and it was declined ,so I gave my debit card in which the receptionist swiped on the same machine as my wife's was were it was declined so it was then swiped on a different machine to be told it wasn't being accepted so we had to leave a cash deposit which wasn't a problem ..The problem was that when we returned to the UK 5 days later our banks fraud team contacted us to say there had been unusual activity on our card in about 4 different locations in USA .we confirmed we had never used the card whilst in America except for checking in purposes at the hotel were they told us the card had been declined .The dates the bank gave us when the card had been fraudulently used were the last 3 days that we stayed at the Best Western Airport Plaz Inn,so it would appear our card had been cloned . We contacted the Best Western to alert them to this matter but were met with hostility and disbelief,they couldn't believe anyone in their employ could have used our card details fraudulently because they didn't have the security number for our card or our PIN number .We also thought this,but when we queried it with our bank ,they said it happens a lot in America because not many places there use chip and pin ,so when your card goes through their scanner it reads all your details off the metal strip which enables them to use your card .The bank reimbursed our money and it was really good that the bank were on the ball and notified us straight away about the fraud this experience though has made me very wary about who you can trust especially when a big company like Best Western is concerned and we won't be using their hotels anytime in the future M.Davis

Mr. Davis, As was mentioned in previous e-mails with you, your card was not cloned by any employee here at the hotel. You agreed that at no time was your credit card out of your sight during the check in process, that the front desk agent did not write down your credit card info and couldn't possibly know your credit card billing address. You were informed by the front desk clerk that when the front desk agent attempted to process your credit card for pre-authorization, that the card was declining and the clerk then made additional attempts to obtain approval and when that didn't happen he then proceeded to ask you for cash. The credit card machines that we use are very secure, prior to your credit card info being sent via hardwire transmission (not wireless), all of the numbers on the credit card are encrypted. I can also guarantee that your "alert to this matter" was not meet with any hostility but rather you were given an explanation as to why your card was swiped multiple times by the front desk agent and that it wasn't possible for the front desk agent to "clone" your card during the registration process. It is unfortunate that your credit card was cloned but that did not happen by any employee at our hotel but could have occurred at any point during your trip here to the United States. Really disappointed and probably should have been aware..... This is an airport hotel... long trip north stopping off in LA as traffic on 405 was terrible. This is a basic hotel and well over priced for what is provided. The general hotel is dated and a stale smell accompanies a general room. Staying away from Best Western and Hotels.com in future as this was not a great stop on a memorable family trip.

"OVERCHARGED OUR 3-NIGHT ROOM STAY"

Location: Best Western Airport Plaza Inn, Inglewood, CA Stay: Thursday 07/27/2017 - Sunday 07/30/2017 (3 nights) Room: 319 First off, how about hiring and training a front desk manager that doesn't play dumb (silent) or make up excuses for overcharging your room rate TWICE! My fiancée and I spent 30-45 minutes at the front desk on two different days of our three night stay at the Best Western Airport Plaza Inn and several times had to question and correct their overcharged nightly rate billing error + repetitive computer arithmetic errors!!! The Weekend daytime manager Dennis wasn't even apologetic to us on their obvious billing error (the rate in the computer was $75 more than my email confirmed online booked rate including taxes/fees) or didn't even talk to us face to face or show any basic customer service 101 skills. Daniel on the other hand was great with customer service, very apologetic to the room rate overcharge and super helpful if be it a little overwhelmed with our room billing issue coupled with other guest concerns at the front desk (yes there were several of us unhappy guests!). Next, our room's bed had a huge body indent in it on the right side closest to the door... like someone 400 lbs had been sleeping there for years? I had to sleep on my fiancee's side of the bed to avoid sleeping in the uncomfortable sag, especially because Inwoke up he first morning with back pain! (check the mattress in room 319!) Or how about something as simple as room service providing bar soap in the bathroom/sink area? Or a room where the A/C didn't smell like mildew or the carpet/drapes smelling like old 1980's era cigarette smoke!?! Or maybe addressing the issue with the Sunday continental breakfast room service running out of basically all food?!? No sausage, potatoes, waffle batter gone, all fruit, bagels, sliced bread and muffins... GONE at 9am!!! The continental breakfast was advertised until 10a and even the trash can was removed so one of the hungry breakfast guests could throw away their sugar packets and coffee cups (since all the food was gone at 9am!) In summary, we totally felt like we were cheated out of our $143-162 nightly room stay rate. I have stayed at $40-50 Motel 6's and worse that had better front desk manager service, better comfy rooms and free/stocked continental breakfast as advertised with the room and with rate. Super friendly staff. Clean, spacious, comfy rooms. Clean patio/spa areas. Close, easy parking. The airport shuttle was available for me to take to the airport to pick up my daughter, and ride back to the hotel with her. It was nice not to have to worry about the stress of driving it myself. Breakfast room is very small and confined.

If you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay near the airport then this is the place for you. Friendly staff, clean room and comfortable bed... All I really needed while I waited for a connecting flight the next day. I wouldn't have expected a lot more The location is terrible if you are looking for something else to do other than hang around the hotel but there are some fast food places around if you're hungry. Only complaint is the minor noise of people coming and going during the night and the air conditioning was very average. Wifi was the best I've had in a hotel! I would stay again

The staff at the Best Western was probably some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The staff even prepared us a minimum breakfast because we needed to leave the hotel before breakfast was served. This is a difficult property to rate in so many ways. Most importantly, our stay was completely uneventful and without incident or problems of any kind. The room was comfortable enough and quiet. But this is pretty much an amenity-free hotel. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel feels a bit iffy, and the room was very overpriced for what is--and what is not--offered. Just to add a touch of smarminess to our stay, the desk clerk, at check-out, demanded several times that we give the hotel "a 10 out of 10" review whenever we get the survey about our stay. Not only was that presumptuous of him (this was a problem-free stay, but nowhere near a 10 out of 10 type of hotel) but we found it to be both pushy and unprofessional, leaving a rather sour feeling with us despite having had no other issues or problems during our stay.

"Comfortable and clean"

I called for a shuttle from the airport and it arrived in about 15 minutes. The trip back took less than 10 minutes. This hotel seems off the beaten path and I was a bit unsure of the neighborhood. However, there is a Panda Express across the street, a Gas station nearby and a grocery store about a block away. The front desk staff was super friendly! Since we were leaving prior to breakfast the next morning, I was offered a Grab and Go bag which had a granola bar, orange and water. Very nice touch! The room was very clean, but there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the room, like a guest had smoked in there recently, nothing heavy and the smell wasn't in the covers or towels. Overall, a good hotel, but just not sure about the area. I might stay here again if I am simply waiting for a flight like I was this time.

I've traveled to Los Angeles for business via LAX airport many times over the last few years, and because of traffic issues have learned to stay close to the airport for depart considerations mostly. The price point is high for anything decent. Was pleasantly surprised to find this value in a not so tourist friendly section of Inglewood. Very clean and comfortable.

Rooms are a lot better looking than the exterior. I thought I might have booked two hotels and ended up at the wrong one. Great beds and bathroom amenities. Breakfast was good and plenty of choices. More than I expected. Window in the room wasn't sealing properly and you could hear some street noise easily. But really did enjoy the stay.

The request ride from airport was fast, about ten minutes. I kept getting locked out and having to change keys in the middle of the night. That was disappointing. The breakfast was hard boiled eggs in the fridge, yogurt, small bottled water, make-yourself-waffles, sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice and Apple juice.

I had a reservation on other hotel and they were fully booked for 2 of the 5 nights so I ended up looking for another commendation for the 2 nights, I was planning on staying for the two nights and then go over to the other hotel, which was much cheaper, but I ended up staying for 3rd because I loved the experience. I would recommend it to my friends and family in a heartbeat.

"Nicest people - super budget hotel"

The workers at this hotel are the nicest that you will ever meet. The team at the front desk are super helpful with anything even if it is out of the way. The lady in the breakfast room is awesome and goes above and beyond anything I have ever seen - she makes the waffles for you, cleans the tables up quickly - she is the best! The hotel is right across from Roscoes' Chicken & Waffles and Randy's donuts is nearby - not the bestttttt looking neighbourhood but manageable. What was new to me was the outdoor patio style hotel. Not really updated at all - super super basic hotel that would do with a face lift - but one of the cheapest in that area. Pros: Breakfast, nice people Cons: AN update to the rooms, elevator would be nice

its a 3 star hotel not fancy but it is close to the airport and a 9 minute walk to the car rental agency, lots of restaurants near by, hotel has a small pool and a room to wash your clothes, it also offers free parking, a nice breakfast nothing fancy and a free shuttle to the airport, in other words if it is for the night to catch an early flight like us then this is the place to stay. Rooms face a busy road with lots of vehicles at all times of the night, so vehicle noise can be heard from your room. However, best part of the stay was the front hotel staff they were fantastic and very helpful made our stay worthwhile

Best Western Airport Plaza inn was a lovely surprise. Having stayed at other hotels at LAX where there is basically nothing to do except eat in their restaurant.This is located near a shopping plaza and restaurants. Rooms are enormous. Staff are more than helpful. Free airport shuttle.Great breakfast included. Very pleased will stay again.

Headed to LAX for vacation. We had an early flight so we came out the night before to avoid morning traffic. Hotel was decent. Parking was tight. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good. 10 minutes from the airport. Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance.

This Best Western Airport Plaza Inn, Inglewood, California, has upgraded its business to the max. I have stayed at this hotel for the past 4 - 5 years. The breakfast dining room is superb. . .well stocked with hot, fresh food and coffee; well managed by Ms. Daisy - she did not let NOTHING run out and was always there to assist the guests. All guests were well fed and on to their next destination. The premises were extremely clean! Front Desk Staff were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to all their guests and did so with a smile and calm demeanor! Extremely business-minded staff. . .no exceptions!

"Terrible Shuttle Service, Poor Customer Service, Average Room / Location"

I booked this hotel needing somewhere to sleep for a 6-hour layover at LAX. I just needed a nearby hotel with shuttle service and a bed- a pretty short order. Once I landed, I called for the shuttle and was told to wait 15 minutes. After 15 mintues I saw the Best Western shuttle fly past without stopping, so I called the hotel back and was told to wait a few more minutes. Nobody came back. After 30 minutes, we took a taxi. The man at the front desk was not rude, but was not really helpful either. When we asked about a return shuttle the next morning, I was told it would run every hour, but not early enough for my flight- so I took an Uber back to the airport the next morning. The room itself was fine- not dirty by any means, but pretty old and had a strong musty odor. If I needed to stay more than just a few hours I would have been unhappy about it. The pictures of the rooms/lobby online must be very old or photo-shopped- the hotel does not look that nice currently. For what I spent on the taxi/Uber, I could have spent the same amount of money just staying closer to the airport (rather than 15 minutes away) with a more reliable shuttle service (and probably a better-smelling room). Overall, wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Good place to stay in LA. Near the airport, helpfull staff. Good parking place for cars. Only what I didn't like: at breakfast there is nothing veggies. I would like some tomatoes, cucumber or something other fresh.

Close to LAX, quiet. There is a little nightclub next door I discovered after checking in, heading out for supper. No real noise issue (even on a Sat night) There are many stores & restaurants nearby. They have an airport shuttle. Recommended.

I don't have a very high standard for most BW hotels, they're convenient and affordable but not luxurious. This BW should nearly be closed. Our non smoking room had clearly been smoked in and not cleaned. Our showers had 3-4 inches of water due to slow drainage, they charge $7/night for parking, the breakfast was not edible and it's in a very dirty, unsafe and unkempt area of LA. Spend a little more money and go to a decent hotel.

"This motel is not near the airport and was very dissapointing"

Our TA had booked this for us, whilst they have a complimentary shuttle service. It took us over 25 mins to get to the motel, which is not near the airport. The room is very dated think 70's decor. We had no sleep it was so noisy from traffic, sirens and a party, fighting and arguments which went until 5.15, motorbikes revving which we saw parked in the motel. We had another flight early the next day. The breakfast was ok and included in the price. Guests all smoked outside their doors which meant the smell of cigarettes was over powering and you couldnt avoid walking through it. I do note that many reviews that are good are by people who have done less than 4 reviews or just this one. I cannot recommend this one.

"Concert a no go, but good place to stay!"

We elected to stay here because of the close proximity to the Forum for the Barry Manilow concert, which he cancelled without our knowledge. We were very unhappy, but this hotel made up for some of our sadness. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean, all amenities worked well and were clean, the room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Coupled with a reasonable price, I thought this hotel was a very good value!

"Lovely Overnight Stay"

Stayed here after flight as an overnight stopover and have to say was pleasantly surprised as the reviews I had seen raised some concerns. Check in smooth and easy offered room away from street as quite near a busy road which was appreciated after a long flight from the UK . Had a king sized room and it was very spacious and clean. Large comfortable bed , only downside was the walls are very thin and got woken up by late arriving guests . Breakfast included and there was choice of continental , cereals fruit and even a cooked option , overall it was a good choice 5 minutes from the airport and excellent value . There is a car park charge of 7 dollars a night to be aware of as not advised of this until we got there . Would use again for stopover .

Friendly Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and ensure that our stay was pleasant. The rooms smelled clean, looked clean, and the linen looked/was clean and stain free. I had a pleasant nights rest and then got to wake up to a totally awesome breakfast for free that had almost everything you could think of (even my Soy Milk). How thoughtful is that??? "Nice Staycation"

My BF and I stayed in this hotel as it was close to my exam center and more affordable than others (booked directly on their website). It became our staycation after the exhausting test. Parking is $7 per night, and they allowed us to have 2 cars for the room (they have 2 small lots with 2 driveway entrances). Inside the room we had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, drying board, and safe. I don't think I heard anyone from the other rooms, just people as they passed by our room outside. Everything was clean, and I enjoyed having a little desk and a separate table to study and eat. The beds were comfy (extra blanket in drawer) and the tv was a big screen plasma. But my favorite part was the breakfast, served 6-10am. It was a full breakfast: waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juice, individual milks, spreads (yay for individual Nutella), toasted breads, and cereal. We were there every day. The staff was friendly too, always greeting us in the hall or outside, and when we needed a corkscrew they brought us one promptly. There's a few restaurants nearby too within walking/short driving distance (Pann's, Panda Express across the street, and Starbucks, Taco Bell/KFC, and supermarkets a few blocks down) and you have the option to order in from an in-room menu. Overall, a great stay!

Starting with checking, Lucas was friendly and fast, very impressed with his assist. Room was clean, well kept, up to date, and we were very pleased with our 2-day stay. If I had to pick out something, it would be the guy on Sunday doing the breakfast service. The gal doing this on Saturday had sealed all the breads in Saran Wrap, and Sunday they were not wrapped, so open to drying out and being handled by guests. Also on the guys shift, the coffee machine didn't work. Other than that, the stay was very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was like an island feel for me. It is quiet and the staff is professional and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable. Stayed here on my last day in LA, the staff were very friendly and helpful (especially when the airport bus was not available, the staff organised a taxi and paid the fee to take me to the airport). The location was conveniently located near restaurants, diners and of course the airport.

Disatisified with dishonesty of front desk regarding room rate. Will not stay here again nor recommend to anyone else. Dishonesty to fill a room is never acceptable. Martin the front desk receptionist quoted me a room rate and upon checkout rate was inflated and Martin was off duty.

We utilized the free 24/7 airport shuttle that the hotel offers. We called for a pick up via the phonebooth in the airport and the shuttle came within 30 minutes. It's also great that T-mobile and Panda Express are just across the hotel. The hotel also has vending machines for drinks and snacks.

I had a king non-smoking room and it was clean and very comfortable. Flat screen TV was awesome. When I checked in, the staff answered all of my questions. The shuttle was a bit late but we all got to LAX airport on time.

Overall it was good. Compared to the other Best Western Hotel that I frequent this one is lacking some of the key piece. This hotel does not offer breakfast. While is was a trip for relaxation, breakfast would be a nice touch. It's not often that I get a day or few off, but when I do I don't want to think about having to get up and go fine something to eat.

While this is obliviously an older hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in many Best Westerns and Hampton Inns during our Pacific Coast vacation. The staff at this Best Western was by far the warmest and the most helpful.

"Close to the airport"

We stay at this motel every time we fly into LAX due to the convenient location to the airport and taking the motel shuttle bus that is offered anybody who stays at the motel- The motel itself will need to be updated in the future at it is showing it's age but it was explained to us that there is going to be a lot of remodeling done in the next few years so will probably look a lot better when we come next time. The bed was very comfortable with lots of hot water for showers and that is the top most important amenities when we stay at a motel for such a short period of time. The motel is located in a pretty good location in regards to a variety of restaurants although you have to cross a couple of very busy streets to get to them. We will stay there again when we fly internationally and want to stay in LAX.

"Generally decent experience, but horrible shuttle"

The bad: The shuttles are totally unreliable. We were set for a 4:30 shuttle (on a 6:00 fight) but the bus didn't arrive until 4:55. The manager responded with phrases like 'have you guys travelled? You should be used to inconvenience by now.' or 'It's a free service we offer- what do you expect?' Extremely rude and unhelpful. The 'non-smoking room' had a subtle but undeniable nicotine tang. The hot and cold water indicators on the shower were backwards- I almost froze my cookies before I sorted this out. The good: The room was clean spacious, and had a certain unexpected elegance in its architecture. The staff- aside from our friend at the desk- were chatty and fun. The hotel seems to have a hiring conduit to Fiji. Overall- not a bad stay... but the apathy about departure times for an airport-servicing hotel was pretty inexcusable.

The best part of the hotel is its location as it is very close to Los Angeles International Airport and they have a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. Complimentary breakfast is good though the spread is limited. There are many other fast food joints nearby. Staff is helpful and they could arrange sightseeing tours very easily.

I stayed at this Best Western for one night due to an early flight out of LAX. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. There are some fast food restaurants nearby and a shopping center and coffee shop within walking distance. There is an airport shuttle although I didn't use it.

Hands down the worst stay I have had in years. Very slow airport shuttle, poor communications from staff, extremely moldy smelling room, and then - no coffee at breakfast. None. What is left to be positive about? Yes, the place was clean and it didn't burn down. No earthquakes or forest fires either. I know I'll stay away from it in the future. Oh, I forgot - very noisy traffic too.

This was a great stay. close to the airport with WifI and parking place. We did not use the breakfast as we stayed only one night. The hotel is close by the airport and has a free shuttle service; no stress to reach the LAX-airport within 15 minutes. We got a free upgrade to the bridal suite with a jacuzzi to our surprise !

We arrived on a delayed flight in to LAX after midnight with our next connecting flight at noon. We just wanted an inexpensive, clean room to shower and get some rest.   This hotel was a great find. The agent at the desk was friendly and helpful.  Having had such a long travel day I wasn't at my best for gathering information.  He offered us a late check out, a wake up call and told us where and when breakfast was available.  Without our having to ask, he explained the airport shuttle departures and added us to the list at our desired time. He was both welcoming and efficient - a quality that I always value. My first impression of the room was that it was dated, but very clean and more spacious than expected. The TV was new, and the furniture was all in good condition.  There was also a small refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was very good, lots of choices, and our ride back to the airport was timely. The drawback was the area surrounding the hotel was not impressive, but that is the perception of someone from small-town Oklahoma arriving in the city in the middle of the night.  We will definately keep this place in mind when we have long LAX layovers.

"Disappointing shuttle srrvicr"

For me, the most important thing with an airport hotel is a regular shuttle service. Unfortunately this hotel has a shuttle service but you have to call for it which inevitably means a long wait. Worse still, we didn't know that and so after 30 minutes waiting, another best western shuttle told us you had to call and offered to notify the hotel. 20 minutes later the shuttle arrived and blasted past us. So we just took a 30 buck taxi. Better spend the extra and stay in a hotel with good shuttle and location closer to the airport.

"Old, tired, noisey"

Built in the old 1960 urban style (parking on ground floor courtyard with rooms up above) this hotel is showing its age and lack of sound insulation, much like sleeping curbside if your room is in the front. Staff is friendly enough but cannot overcome the age and location of the facility. Now we understand why it cost so much less in comparison to its neighborhood peers. Would not consider staying here again despite manager's assurance to make amends. Thanks but no thanks.

This was probably a nice hotel but it's getting old and in need of a refresh. It's not bad but Best Western has higher standards and for this price it should be better. The staff was nice and there was parking space. Internet was unstable but worked most of the time

My husband and I aren't too picky, so we chose a hotel a couple of miles from the airport to save a little money. The neighborhood here isn't the best nor the worst. There's a small shopping center across the street with a couple of restaurant options. The room was nothing fancy, and our only complaint was that it was supposed to be non-smoking, but it was obvious as soon as we entered that someone had smoked in there. The odor even clung to some of my clothing, but for us it wasn't a big enough deal to mention at the time. I note it here in case some of you are super sensitive to the smell.

The garage parking lot for this hotel is really tight, so have a small car, nothing over mid-size. Nice and clean hotel and room, perfect for a quick overnight. Right off the freeway and a short distance to LAX.

I stayed one night at this hotel in between flights from London to Minneapolis. It proved to be a good choice and value for money considering how expensive decent (and above) "airport" hotels have become. It took about twenty minutes for the airport shuttle to drive from Tom Bradley Terminal to the hotel at about 7.00 pm on a Thursday. Unfortunately the arrival of the hotel shuttle to LAX was not so timely. I was waiting for over an hour and two calls to the hotel before it showed up. Although I was asked which airline I had flown in on there was no inquiry about which terminal. A request for the relevant terminal may have been useful as the American Airlines flight I was on deplanes from Tom Bradley and not the AA terminal. However, as I was in no rush it did not detract from a brief, practical and pleasant stay. The room was clean and quiet with an adequate free wi-fi connection. There is a jacuzzi on site and a number of eateries within walking distance. The room is also equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge and iron/ironing board. The bed provided a comfortable night's sleep which was followed by a very good breakfast buffet. The shuttle van leaves every hour on the half hour and there was no repeat of the previous night's problem.

Was never told about the continental breakfast and by the time we found out, they had used up their allotment for the day. Really. Awaken by loud hollowing in the parking area which was located under the rooms at 2:30 AM. Over all not a good expeirence.

Property offers attractive rates for LAX travelers. Location is in commercial and very unattractive area just 3 miles from airport. B'fast is included and decent. While rooms are large and clean the smell of stale nicotine permeates all the rooms. If you are not a smoker, or if you are allergic to cigarrets, this is not for you. The air cleaner spray can supplied by house cleaning did not even begin to cover the smell. There are better options, closer to the airport, and not that much more expensive. Free Airport shuttle is offered. Limited restaurants near by.

This hotel does not have a pool as stated. The area of town is not the best and there was only one accessible outlet in the room. The shuttle driver was very rude and argumentative and when we reported noise in the rooms next door, noting was done.

I chose this hotel because it's close to the airport since I only stayed for 8hrs due to an early flight. In addition, the price was very affordable and it has a worldwide brand name. I was so wrong choosing this hotel. When we walked out of a tiny elevator to get to our room, it smelled marijuana smoking. Then, we just wanted to go to sleep. We woke up in the middle of the night and I thought there was an earthquake. It was actually a man above our room stomping his feet because he was watching a basketball game and listening to a loud rap music. He was talking to another man and my husband thought that there might be a shooting. This was a horrible experience. You will not feel safe being at this hotel. Room walls are very thin and the neighborhood is not safe. No security guard or staff members are visible walking around the corridors.

I have stayed many times as this Best Western. It is near LAX airport and I often use it to fly out of Los Angeles. Over the past two years the property has gotten a little worn out. The carpet in my room was coming up and the sink drain was plugged. There was a noticeable odor of cigarette smoke. There were signs announcing the Hotel was remodeling, which I was happy to see. I hope to see the improvements the next time I stay.

Whenever I go to Los Angeles, I stay at the Best Western Airport Plaza Inn, Inglewood, for at least one day (the day before I have my flight at LAX). The hotel is close to the airport and has its own transport for LAX. If you prefer to drive yourself, like me, from there it is very easy to return a rental car. The parking area is spacious. The hotel is also located close to a very nice shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and clean. Outside, the balconies were not spotless this time around, but that was some guests' fault, not the staff's. Hotel was undergoing some renovation, which is good. The new breakfast area, on the second floor, is much better than the older one - much more spacious and comfy. Breakfast selection is very good - even bigger than that of other Best Westerns places I've been to. Last but not least, the front desk staff is very courteous and attentive. It has been and will keep on being the hotel of my choice near LAX.

This Best Western is fine for an overnight stay. It's close to LAX. I think for the it's location, the price is a little high, but it is clean. The internet was a bit slow. There is not an exercise facility, however there is a pool and jacuzzi.

"Pictures on BW website are deceiving"

Chose this place for a college tour. My college students didn't mind it and it was conveniently located near UCLA (didn't even need to take the freeway) & USC (about 25 minutes away). Service was good considering our complicated check in. My door malfunctioned a few times but eventually started working. Pictures online paint a totally different story. This place looks dicey, but I never felt uncomfortable walking around. Rooms are 60% clean if you really pay attention to details. Spotted a bug the morning of checkout and ran. I'd only recommend this place to someone staying less than one night and has low standards. I wouldn't return.

I enjoyed the super relaxing pillows and soft sheets. I stayed in room with jacuzzi with jets. It helped to relax and soothe me. The clerk in the office was new and my reservation was little complex. I was happy to see despite him not knowing he went above and beyond.

Just st stayed here with a friend. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms have all amenities you would need for a couple of nights stay. ie iron/board, microwave, coffee maker etc. The beds are comfortable, and rooms are clean. Breakfast included, which was very good. The area probably has a bad name, but we ate and drank locally, and had a great time. All in all, it's not the closest to the airport at LAX, but a good stopover.

Stayed here one night prior to taking a cruise out of LA. Very convenient and very good staff. We needed to attend Catholic church on Saturday evening and staff helped with directions to a Church very close by. We would return if we take another cruise out of LA!

It is hard to find a reasonably priced motel in the LA area that one would feel comfortable in. This motel was very nice, staff was helpful, and it was affordable. We were in the area to see the Le Brea Tarpits and the Museum of Tolerance, this motel was in a location that located near both and navigating was very easy.

"Run down place, on a shady location, last minute reservation"

This place is located on Centinela and S La Cienega blvd in Inglewood. The city itself its shady, this motel its a dive. Stayed again for a night, at around 10pm or shortly after, I heard a commotion outside, checked it out. I saw cops talking to this white drunk dude, who didn't pay his cab. A lot of ruffians looking characters in the motel. Breakfast was mediocre, choice wise. Not enough tables to accommodate patrons. Will I go back here again? Only if I don't have any other choice. Will I recommend this to others? Not if you want to experience what we've seen.

All of the rooms smell like smoke and I had to buy air freshener to dilute the bad, horrible odor. The complimentary breakfast was gas station quality and offered nothing healthy I could see. The hotel was convenient to a Starbucks and I suggest walking there rather than driving due to all of the traffic. The "pool" was suitable for one 3-year old, not bigger than that (although I do not swim, they advertised "pool"). You also have to pay $7/day for parking which is a rip-off but there is no place else to park.

Near the airport with shuttle service. Friendly and helpful staff. The manager, Danny is on top of all aspects of this hotel. If you bring your car note that there is a $7.00 parking fee that I was not aware of when I booked this stay. The WiFi worked perfectly. Bed was comfortable. My room on the second floor in the back was quiet, too. This was a good choice for a short stay.

It is a small hotel near LAX. The rooms are spacious and the bath quite adequate with separate vanity room. They have an airport shuttle available. Note that there is an extra $7 per day parking fee if you have a car. The WIFI worked well during my entire stay. They have both smoking and no-smoking rooms. My no-smoking room was quite fresh upon arrival with no hint of smoke. The staff are pleasant and efficient. I encountered no problems.

...surely not anyone who has actually stayed here. The neighborhood is not very good, traffic is constant, the hotel needs serious upgrades and the rooms are small with paper thin walls. They're trying here, but they don't have much to work with. The staff is very nice, though I'd prefer they not announce my room number for all to hear. Write it on the card packet, that should be sufficient. It's an open space design, with room doors opening to an exterior walkway. People are hanging out on the walkways, talking and smoking, even though it is a non-smoking area. I can hear activity through my closed door that is taking place down the walkway, so it should be no surprise that I can hear everything going on in the room next to mine - everything, down to toilet paper in use. Not a joke. The central open area is over the parking lot, so I can hear car doors banging and lock horns honking, and I'm on the top floor. I generously rate this hotel a two because the rooms are clean, but I should go with a one because there's an underlying "old" smell that I hope does not permeate my belongings. I travel often and stay at Best Westerns, Hampton Inns, etc., so I'm not expecting the Ritz, but this is definitely NOT what I would recommend to a business traveler or anyone with kids. Breakfast is adequate, but it is a very small area with only a couple cafe tables for seating.

"Average hotel but would not stay here again"

It was a last minute booking and we stayed at this hotel for 1 night in November 2015 due to its price and its location. We did not spend much time in the hotel except to shower and sleep. The room was adequate with standard amenities although dated. Our room faced the busy street but the noise didn't bother us too much. Breakfast was mediocre at best and there is no room to eat at the breakfast area. Would have rated this hotel as average if it weren't for them double-charging us for parking. We were charged for parking when we checked-in and we paid for it in cash. However, to my dismay, I came home after my trip to find that they double-charged the parking to my credit card as well! I immediately called the hotel and the manager said he would investigate by looking at the cameras. When I called back the next day to follow-up, he said that the camera footage does show us handing over cash for the parking when we checked-in so he would refund us. The refund took about 2 weeks for it to process. Although the manager was prompt to fix this mistake, it should not have happened in the first place. What if the camera footage was no longer available to be viewed? Lesson learned: always pay for everything with your credit card for record.

My sister got cut by unexpected shattered glasses on the bathroom floor and called the hotel staff. We couldn't feel any care from the staff. They didn't offer any first aid kit until we requested and not even an apology!! They just cleaned it up quickly and roughly and acted like nothing happened. We then found some more shattered pieces on the bathroom floor and called them up again. This time, they promised for thoroughness of the cleanup. My sister still found one little piece of glass though. Finally, we decided to file a claim at the front desk. A week after the stay, there was no response at all, so I called them to follow up for the claim. However, I called them 3 times within 2 days and still couldn't reach the manager or get any response. I then sent a message on their corporate Facebook page. The customer care on Facebook replied promptly promising they will follow up the case. Almost a week later, the front desk manager emailed me to apologize and promise to refund the room charge but I've NEVER got the refund or any communication back again.

"Convenient Option for LAX"

This Best Western Hotel offers a free shuttle to Los Angeles International (LAX). I was happy to see they were doing some remodeling. The property is starting to show some age and will benefit from the renovation. Parking can be a tight fit, but this is LA after all. There's a Starbucks just down the street, and a 50's style diner called Pann's which offers an outstanding breakfast. The room was clean and quiet. I'll be back.

I always stay at the Airport Plaza Inn when I travel to Los Angeles, as I know I will be treated like a client who actually matters. A wonderful property in the Best Western group, and a place to get a great night's sleep, with fast, reliable internet, an exceptionally nice staff, and close to everything on the westside, without the traffic gridlock of Santa Monica or West Los Angeles. I highly recommend it.

"Great for a quick stay"

They include, Wi-Fi (for us of the technology age), free breakfast, simple clean and functional rooms. We stayed for two nights, had no issues with the room or breakfast or anything else. The only thing that was unfortunate was having to pay to park on the property.

I got a good deal on this place, but unfortunately it wasn't a good deal, it was just cheap. The whole place looked and felt sketchy. The check in was fine, and the front desk was efficient and asked me if I needed an airport shuttle or wake up call right away. The room was dim, and had a run down feel and look to it. There were no bedbugs or anything, but it just felt wrong. the courtyard was noisy, and there were a lot of people just hanging around the hallway. There was a lot of shouting and loud music through the night, which was quite disturbing. The breakfast room is tiny inside, it probably wouldn't have been bad if it hadn't been raining in the morning and all the outdoor seats couldn't be used. I ended up having to eat in my room. The food wasn't bad, standard hotel fair. The bagels were very sweet, something I wasn't expecting from a plain bagel. Generally I expect more from a Best Western, and I will stay elsewhere next time I am in LA

Avoid this place at all costs.Very seedy dirty area.Screaming heard throughout the night as the hotel is open to the streets & anybody can walk right up to your room as there is NO security.Husband & myself have lots of bites on us since leaving this place.Very dark room,basic old fashioned.Spend the extra money on different hotel.The photos on website are very misleading as it does not look like this at all.

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel while seeing some of the sights before we returned home. Danny greeted us and helped us find travel arrangements. This hotel is close to the LAX airport, but not Disneyland and other attractions. There is a grocery store close by, pharmacy and fast food places to eat. Danny helped make arrangements for a hop on hop off trip the day we arrived, found a driver to take us the 34 miles to Disneyland the next day, and then Starline tours for our last day. The hotel has all the amenities of a Best Western but on a small scale. The breakfast area was very creative use of space and everything was there. We ate in our room each day. We had a very early departure and the driver was ready to take us to the airport. They do have free shuttle service. The rooms could probably use new bedding, but it is a discount hotel.

Friendly staff with clean and beautiful property. About a 10 minute drive to LAX. This property has covered parking and I always had a place to park. All of the staff, including the front desk, the maids, and the servers at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed one night after a long cross country trip. There is a shuttle but it took about 25 or so minutes from call to pickup. The motel is a low rise two floor property, simple and a bit dated. The area its in has a few walkable dining options as well as a market. Id say it was slightly seedy as far as areas go but I didnt feel it was unsafe to be out and about around 9pm. It was a fare value but nothing exceptional. Breakfast was simple and in a small room near the small pool in the middle of the property and parking lot.

I've stayed here three times and every visit has been completely satisfactory. Friendly, courteous and professional staff are eager to help with customer requests. Clean comfortable rooms. Strong Wifi connection. Breakfast room, shuttle van available 24 hours/ day. Just what I expect from a hotel at a reasonable price. Grocery store, Starbucks and other shopping amenities within an easy walk of a block or so. Try to get a room on top floor and away from the main street for the most quiet. I prefer Room Numbers 312 to 318. Overnight Parking charge is $7. Some websites incorrectly indicate free parking.

In contrast to most Best Western hotels, this one was very disappointing. It started with a disconcerting shuttle ride from the airport, with one if the worst drivers I've ever encountered. And I sat close enough that I could read the various maintenance warnings flashing on the dashboard including "low tire pressure" and "oil change overdue." The hotel itself showed a similar lack of attention, with lots of scuffed paint throughout the property. And when I left the room the next morning, the door wouldn't latch and I had to leave it hanging open. The breakfast area was mostly outside in the middle of the parking lot, and the quality of the food was lower than most Best Western hotels. The property lacks cham, with most room facing into the central ground floor parking lots. For plusses, the staff was unfailingly pleasant, and the hotel is near lots of dining and shopping options. Overall, there are enough comparably priced hotels in the area that I don't recommended this one.

Great place to stay, The TV reception is horrible. Front desk told me that all rooms have this bad TV reception. Do not stay here if you plan to spend a lot of time watching TV. On the other hand the TV issue was the only issue I had. Staff is Great and Rooms are clean. Staff was very accommodating.

Have stayed at this hotel before and was satisfied. This last trip there was a crowd of young adults who were using the room to party and cause trouble. I and other guest complained that these individuals were skate boarding and using hover-boards and were chasing each other on the 3rd floor walkway. They were using a boom box that was so loud it drowned out the TV in my room. I personally called the manager 3 times over an 8 hour period. It was obvious that the manager was intimidated by this group of people. I suggested he call the police if could not seal with it but the police never showed. Four other guests stated to me and my wife that they to had complained to the management with no action by the management. I will look for a different hotel than stay here on my next business trip.

We stay 2 nights at this hotel, 5 minutes away from LA airport, hotel offers free shuttle, good big and clean room. neighborhood it's ok but nothing to do in the surroundings ( need a car ) Breakfast is included, but basic, and the location is around the Jacuzzi area which is very small. If you need to be near the airport, it's a decent place to stay for one or two nights,

The room wasn't as bad as it seemed judging from the outside, but it's not great neither. For one night transit it was fine. The check in clerk was not particularly friendly, but the check out person was great. Both shuttle drivers were friendly and professional. Shuttle leaves on the hour and be sure to get to the lobby early as it fills up quickly. We were there a bit before 6am and they were already serving breakfast. That was a nice touch.

I stayed here for one night, and when I came out of my room to go somewhere, I noticed someone hit my rental car in their small parking lot and left the scene. It appears that a large vehicle may have backed into it, and the only vehicle that large is their own shuttle. I left a note to the manager, Daniel, to review their camera footage, but never heard a word. I've been a loyal Best Western customer for many years, and their rooms are always nice. This review is strictly about a manager not responding to an accident in their own parking lot. I will take it to their corporate office.

$7 to park in an unsecured space? why? Can get better security with TSA. Forget the pictures on the hotel website they are adjusted. Rooms are DARK and depressing. If you want sunlight in your room then you will need to be on the top floor with a hole in the ceiling. It is like being in the 1970s hotel. The pool fits about 2 1/2 kids. It is also your breakfast eating area (right next to the diesel trucks) Breaskfast is starches from Sams Club and a banana. there was NO Cranberry Juice. The place is hard to drive into during rush hours (basically all day). There was a picture on the website of the "lobby Business Center" but we could not find it in the 12 x 10 lobby area There was NO nightlight in the room and because our room looked out onto the outside walkway we had to close the drapes. We used the microwave as our nightlight.

great staff, clean rooms. I didn't have any problems with the wifi like at other hotels. Breakfast was good and the attendant was very helpful making the waffles in the morning for us. I just wish the eating area was indoor instead of outdoor, It gets cold in the mornings.

This particular Best Western property is so great - close to LAX without being under the flight path, near freeways, near the easiest arteries (surface streets) to DTLA and Hollywood, and not too far from Santa Monica/Venice. Perfect. The rooms are well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and there is plenty of (street-level!) parking --- no twisting, hairpin turn underground structure. I love this place. No pool, but there is a jacuzzi. A much better deal than the much higher priced Best Western properties in Santa Monica and West L.A.

Stayed 1 night here layover trip Seattle to Okinawa. Great price and easy to get too with their provided shuttle bus service. The hotel met my needs. Checkin and check out went smooth. Would stay there again.

This hotel is well situated if you're flying in and out of LAX. It's also well located for getting to places like Venice or Santa Monica. It might be better to avoid the airport shuttle bus though - it took about 60 minutes for the bus to arrive at the airport after I called the hotel, whereas a taxi fare would have only been about $10-15 and I would have arrived at the hotel within 15 minutes.

Its called an airport hotel but for me its too far away to be so called.You have to call the hotel to arrange a shuttle .First impressions are not good -the exterior is drab and the neighborhood is not all that pleasant. The tiny breakfast room extends to a fenced area around the tiniest pool I've seen at a hotel. The pool should be closed and the area roofed ,air conditioned and made more inviting.The lobby is small and is in need of refreshment .The staff are friendly and efficient - this is a plus.My room was large ,well furnished ,very clean if a little old fashioned in its decor.

It's not an expensive hotel - but for the money, it's reasonably clean with spacious, but dated / tired rooms. Definitely no frills but adequate and with some value eateries close by. For a one nighter before leaving it did the job. Would I go back - on business no, privately, maybe.

The hotel looks nice and is conveniently located near the 405 Fwy. Their is a nearby shopping center and several places to eat. The hotel employees were very pleasant but some of the guest were questionable characters. Some locals and I even saw a possible prostitute.

After missing our connecting flight, we were so happy to still be able to find a hotel with an available room at 23:45 at night. We were picked up from the airport with a free shuttle and the man who checked us in was extremely friendly. Even gave us some bottles of water and allowed a late check out free of charge. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A free basic breakfast is included in the rate.

We booked hotel because my husband had surgery scheduled at UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica the next day. Hotel was nice, quiet and clean, average value. A few restaurants within walking distance, plus a shopping center with grocery store, but area it is located in is sketchy.

A very nicely kept BW with a superb swimming pool in private outdoor setting. Wonderful fun for grand children. Great vacation place to stay. The staff were very courteous. The rooms were nicely appointed and clean. Everything functioned properly. We were very pleased with our stay.

Myself and my friends were on standby as we are airline crew and we got bumped off our flight home to Australia, so with limited money, and being 2am we were struggling to find a room in any hotel, when we rang these guys from the airport phones (as our wifi wasn't working and we didn't have international roaming on) very stressed out, they reassured us a room at a discounted price and to walk outside because our free shuttle bus was on its way. The gentleman driving assisted with all of our luggage and as soon as we arrived exhausted and stressed out, we were greeted with a bottle of water and a free donut! The wifi was very high speed and we were able to contact our families immediately. They turned around our entire night and we were in high spirits. It only got better when they extended our stay until 12:30 free of charge, so we could catch up on some sleep, also offering a free buffet breakfast in which we were pleasantly surprised by the variety. When we checked out they put our baggage in storage and allowed us to sit by the pool (with another fresh donut) and go to the mall until our 11pm flight, the staff also checking on us to ensure we were still comfortable (as I wrote this by the pool I am being offered water) We could not be more grateful for the helpful staff, especially Raj and PK, rather than our holiday ruined it was saved by these guys!
