High standard and excellent service. All staff was very helpful, kind and service minded. Bar area is very nice with cozy seating, good drinks and beer. Dinner was perfectly cooked and served with a smile from the great waitress. Breakfast was also very very good. Everything was presented nicely in the buffet with great variety. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. The Classic Vault Rooms were very nice, beautifully decorated, good sized with a small but nice bathroom. We stayed for one night and were very impressed by everything in his hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are going to Helsingborg. Tip: if arriving by car check when/if parkering area closes for the night and open in the morning, if you need your car. Pricing can be different for parking, the closest one recommended by the hotel is quite expensive.

Feels like slipping back to the 1930 s in the bar, great location, nice staff and just a vey nice hotel in a great locayion. Would recormend. Great breakfast and reasonle prices.

Really nice hotel in heart of Helsingborg. The interior is beautiful both reception/bar and the room. Breakfast good and well-assorted but not a lot of seats, so during peak-hours there will not be enough seats. Considering the overall feel and the low price we paid equals top rating!

Location was perfect...right in the city center! The hotel was unique (something we were looking for), being in an old bank. Everything about the place and room we stayed in (Junior Suite) really wow'ed us! We had a before dinner drink in the lobby bar and ate in the restaurant. The food was amazing! In the morning we had the free breakfast which was just as good and plentiful in the selection of choices. We were upset we only stayed 1 night, but if/when we go back to that area, we would definitly stay at The Vault Hotel again!!!

An easy walk, even with luggage, from the rail/ferry terminal, The Vault offers a comfortable stay with a distinctive and entertaining personality. From the charmingly quirky room decor and vintage elevator (there's also a modern one), to the relaxing lobby and dining areas, everything adds up to a memorable and relaxing experience. We especially appreciated the friendly staff and impressive breakfast buffet, as well as the restaurant's dinner menu. With a location in the heart of town, and the scenic steps leading to the medieval Kärnan castle tower just outside, The Vault makes our visits to Helsingborg convenient and even more fun.

When we arrived the walk up towards the hotel is stunning. The hotel lived up to the setting. The reception staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

I just love this hotel. From the very first moment, when I approach the building, to when I open the front door and see this wonderful lobby, to when the staff welcomes me, to when I enter this awesome old elevator that takes me to the cosy floors, to the room numbers and finally the nicely decorated room with a perfect bed. Sleep very well and start the day with some unique breakfast. The bad part of this hotel is when you have to leave. I would love to live there !!!

The global experience at The Vault was good (location, breakfast, room size/decoration, service) BUT you definitely need to REQUEST a QUIET room if you want to sleep well. We had the 217 room which was just above a night bar. The level of music was very high until 3 AM : impossible to sleep in these conditions.

Loved our stay at the Vault hotel. The room decoration is very unique and colourful. The breakfast buffet has an excellent selection.

I was given a room on the 1st floor right above a night club with windows having no sound proofings, so it was as I was staying inside the nightclub. Night club closed at 3pm. Asked the receptionist to change the room but not possible despite having several other rooms available. I asked for later check-out but couldn't accommodate there either and the behaviour wasn't nice either. Not service-minded at all.

It's in the center of Helsingborg, next to the castle and just 5 minutes from the train station, so the location is unbeatable. The decor is spectacular. When you arrive, ask if they can upgrade your room; they usually do if the hotel isn't too full. The breakfast is well worth it, and the gym is very well equipped.

The Vault Hotel is very close to the station and the center of the town. We were received by a very kind woman in the reception . She gave us a room with a balcony and the hotel was beautifully decorated in the hall and also the room. The elevator was old and very well kept. We had cold beers in the bar and enjoyed our stay and the most fantastic breakfast with so delicious food and coffee. Next day as we left, we forgot a locker to our bikes on the place in the back of the hotel . As we noticed that we had left it in Helsingborg, we called the kind lady at the reception, and she went out and found it and kept it for us. No problems at all. Only kindness and a very pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings in the best hotel.

The hotel is centrally located just under 10min walking distance from the ferry port. The breakfast buffet was also good and with an okay variety of food with lactose- and gluten free alternatives

An old converted bank, the lobby and rooms are quaint, the price value is great and the staff very friendly. It is an easy walk to shopping and restaurants as well as the ferry. We highly recommend this when visiting Helsingborg!

Elegant comfort and delicious breakfast buffet. This is classic hotel with flair and attention to detail. Very helpful staff and super location. Our junior suite had a fantastic view and all the amenities. Highly recommend staying in this hotel.

We did a night in Helsingborg with family, it was the perfect hotel with great service and location. It was easy to access and we received great service. We enjoyed our dinner in the Vinpublik, even if the food is simple it is great quality, and they have a great winelist.

My room (or vault as they call it) was beautiful and immaculate. The venue is an old bank and it looks stunning and they way it has been designed is very cool and quirky, with a trendy cocktail bar which doubles as the reception too. The staff were all extremely friendly, smiley and helpful. The breakfast was great too, I only wish I had more time to enjoy it! The decor is lovely and quite flamboyant but in a good way. Even the stairwell and the corridors in the hotel had a lovely smell! I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for couples exploring Helsingborg.

My husband and I stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday. The first night we enjoyed a package that included a welcome drink, 3 items each of their menu add well as half a bottle of wine each. From check in to check out, the staff were super friendly and attentive. The bartender, who also was in the restaurant remembered what package w we had and assisted us. I loved the design and details throughout the hotel. Pictures, fun little things everywhere both in the room as well as by the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was delicious, but a bit crowded on the Saturday. There's also a gym as well as sauna.

Best Hotel I have been to. And I have been to Schlosshotel Bensberg. I love the atmosphere, the design, the lobby, the breakfast, the rooms....just everything. And it is located in the very beautiful centre of Helsingborg.

This beautifully-renovated hotel is located in a former bank building in the center of Helsingborg's entertainment and shopping district. Our room was lovely and our check-in experience was excellent. Breakfast was very good too, with a good selection of local specialities (cheese from the region, Swedish pancakes) as well as international standards such as scrambled eggs plus good flaky croissants. We look forward to a return visit. One tip for travelers: if you're noise sensitive, you may want to ask for a room that doesn't face the street, particularly during the warm summer months. There are several pubs and wine bars nearby, including one attached to the hotel, and the party can continue late into the evening on weekends.

Thanks to Clarion Sea U, who failed in their booking of our room and then were VERY rude and did not do anything to rectify their mistake, we started looking for another hotel and found this gem. Amazing hotel and one of the best we have ever stayed at. Amazing, friendly service, great atmosphere, great location, great bar. Can't think of anything that could improve this hotel. My best recommendations! And thanks again Clarion Sea U, for screwing up that led us to this hotel MUCH, MUCH better!!!!!

I arrived late in the night, and this hotel kindly took me in as I was completely lost without reservation due to a booking error. The booking mistake in another hotel was my best mistake ever. Otherwise I wouldn't have had the chance to stay at The Vault . This hotel is a hidden jewel, and everything from the service to the rooms are amazing. Love, love, love the decor, the soaps and the wonderful bed. The person working in the reception was the kindest soul, and the breakfast was wonderful. I will for sure be back, and praise this hotel to everyone I know. My best hotel experience to date.

Lovely place. Has the air of a family run hotel (though it isn't I believe). Clean, comfortable, efficient, nice staff and nice rooms. Lovely old cylindrical lift from the time this was a banking building. It is well situated in the town, 5 minutes from the railway and ferry.

It was our first stay at the Vault, and it won't be the last one. We really had a great time. The hotel is well located. The superior room was nice, beautiful, quiet, confortable... The breakfast was excellent nice

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Perfect location, amazing staff, and comfortable rooms. We slept so well here. The bar is fantastic and the bartender, Love, was absolutely the best. The breakfast? I don't think it could be beat. It had something for everyone. I loved the ginger shots!

Booked this hotel on short notice as a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. It was the best hotel stay we've had in a long while. The hotel is stylish, full of charm, elegance and has a warm atmosphere, as well as a fantastic restaurant and bar. The breakfast buffet is absolutely lovely. We will be coming back again.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Helsingborg. From the moment you enter The Vault you're surrounded by a wonderful atmosphere. Everything and every design is thought through down to the last detail. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when we visited.

We have a great 1 night stay here on our way down the West Coast. A superbly decorated hotel with incredibly friendly staff. We had a good set of cocktails at the bar - a super setting The room was fab - an upgrade always goes down well! Highly recommended

Had a very nice stay at The Vault Hotel in Helsingborg. It can not be in a more central place. Walking distance to the sea, shopping and restaurants. Take a run or walk along the sea. The hotel have nice decor, and is a former bank. Friendly staff and a very nice breakfast

We had the most wonderful night at The Vault. Our room was beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the building is amazing. The old elevator was fantastic. The bar was just right for a pre dinner drink and the breakfast was delicious and again served in beautiful surroundings. We can not wait to visit again.

The hotel is not your usual type with very different styling. But the rooms are great and the staff ever so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They were very friendly and didn't expect us to speak Swedish (which was just as well). It was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Free coffee and biscuits/croissants available in the bar/reception throughout the day. It has a great, really old lift! The only downside was on Friday and Saturday night, they had a DJ and it was noisy, but as our room was out of the way we didn't notice. So if you want quiet ask for a room out the back. Note: there were no drawers in rooms and minimal hanging space.

Have stayed here several times. Always good, but this time everything was excellent! The entire staff is professional and personal in a very positive way! The breakfast is really good, great variety, very tasty, nicely presented and the attention to detail and cleanliness is high. The design and ambience is a fab mix of cool, cosy and a bit quirky. The location is perfect. The big bar around the reception is a go to place, also for non-hotel-guests, especially on weekends. Big city feel in a positive way…

It was a long time ago I was traveling somewhere. But this time it was a road trip down to Helsingborg, and my family booked hotel and we ended up at The Vault Hotel. Normally stay at a different hotel chain due do my membership, however my dad booked by Booking. But I cannot complain, because WAOW I'm so happy I tried this hotel, the staff in all department where amazing. The room design = so beautiful Reception staff = super service minded Bar = fantastic delivers drinks, and one that was very service minded who made a new non-alcoholic drink for my nephew every time, with a lot of fruit Restaurant/breakfast staff = super service minded and also very helpful when it came to my nephews wired food likings. Housekeeping - spotless I have one small disliking, however I think it has to do with Covid. But the bar staff and reception was the same, which in hectic periods will punish the service either in FO or F&B. I hope to come back soon again. Thank you

This hotel has an fantastic ambience that is a little bit crazy but totally cosy, the staff is very friendly and helpful at any time and the location is perfect as starting point for sightseeing, the Bar area is so inviting

If you are in Helsingborg to party all night and not sleep at all then this hotel is perfect for you. The hotel is situated on top of a bar and close to several discos playing loud music all night. For the rest of us who DO wish to sleep: Book another hotel! We were kept awake all night by loud music and people yelling to each other on the street. We will definitely not return to this hotel.

Nice, well furnished hotel in central Helsingborg. Unfortunately, they do not seem to be on top of the cleaning of rooms - fresh bathroom but bedroom dusty with stained carpet. Advertised on hotels.com that the hotel has parking but they do not.

Having a good vibe and feeling inside the room. There was no chance to sleep before 3:15am due to the highend noise inside the streets (Room 216). Breakfast were excellent and the staff also were doing a great job. We enjoyed the short trip and hope to visit Sweden soon.

Great place in the middle of the city. Our room was super small. I wish we could have rented bikes or that the personal could have given a little better advice about where to get coffee or what to do. With hotel stays there is lots of opportunity to give the guest a little extra inside tips to the city. Our room smells like we lived above a restaurant that fried a lot of food. We called reception once and waited 10 minutes on hold and then the phone just hung up on us!

Rare enough to find a hotel in which you would want to live immediately. The design of this hotel, located in a former bank building, targets my taste 100%. I found some decoration which I also enjoy in my own house. The moment you enter the hotel makes you feel.....wow. Nice lobby, reception, bar, lounge areas. Using this old elevator is certainly nothing for people with claustrophobia but worth trying! Through calm and quiet corridors you get to your room which embraces you instantly. Thanks to friendly service and good wine I spent some hours in the lobby lounge rest area and could totally relax. Super bathroom super bed nothing you will miss.

Everything just fine, very friendly staff, nice rooms, great location and overall a very pleasent hotel in an old bank office. If there is anything I could wish for it,s a parkingplace closer to the hotel, the location in a corner of the square makes this impossible. Still, my favorite hotel in town, i really like it.

Super friendly staff the welcomed me and helped with everything. I got a very nice room upgrade from Frida to a nice deluxe room. Location is perfect => super central very close to the fortress kärnan. In the basement you find the old bank vault where the super nice sauna and small cozy gym is situated. This hotel is a must stay if go Helsingborg and I truly think it is the best possible stay option in the city. Simply chose the vault and they keep you safe and nice.

Situated in a classical and solid building, originally built for a bank, this hotel has been established recently, after extensive refurbishing. Our room was very comfortable and -in spite of being in the absolute town centre- very quite, facing eastwards, towards the steep rise up to the medieval tower. There's no through traffic at night, but as there's no air conditioning, ask for a room at the back in warm weather! Elegant common spaces and an excellent and very varied breakfast.

Really enjoyed a two night stay here. The room was very nicely decorated and a good size. Only drawback was that for the few warm nights a year there was no air conditioning. Cool enough though with the windows open, if a little noisy. A room change was offered away from the street side but it wasn't so bad an experience that we wanted to move in the end..2nd night was quiet. Really great and considerate staff and service. Good breakfast. Great city center location Would book again.

A lovely place right in the heart of Helsingborg. Great location and very satisfying service. The art deco interior gives a smooth and elegant feeling. Plus the view from the outdoor part of the restaurant is one of the best. Cosy, stylish and good service hotel.

Really cool cityhotel in super charmy Helsingborg. Even though the room double deluxe was a bit tiny, I liked it as it was designed in art deco style and coherent with rest of hotel. Great breakfast with super generous opening hours and selective stuff to eat. The best was probably our welcoming receptionist on our arriving day - she was who made our experience worth it all! Dtated in room 106, and if you are sensitive to noise, try another room as this is right above the street.

Stayed at this hotel one night when in Helsingborg for a night out. Room was very nice, reception area pretty cool. But service at the bar was non existing son we ended up walking to a nearby place instead. And the breakfast was really disappointing, very limited of things to choose, not very fresh. And on top of that the coffee served was burned.
