Best Western Green Valley Inn

Took my son for some birding and photography in Madera Canyon and stayed here two evenings. Room was clean and comfortable, front desk staff courteous and helpful, breakfast at adjoining restaurant was good (the hotel provides a voucher free breakfast), parking was good. No complaints, would stay here again.

Old hotel that needs updating badly. "Free" breakfast is not. Have to buy additional items you would normally get with a "free" breakfast. No way the staff could clean this hotel. Mold in the bathroom, bulbs burnt out, phone that didn't work, just plain bad all around. Night front gal was nice and helpful, daytime not enthusiastic about he job. Sold me room temp water for $2/bottle. Can't even put some in the refrigerator next to the front desk.

This location is ver convenient to many restaurants and the freeway. The in house bar restaurant is very good. Staff was friendly and the food was good. The hotel is dated and not kept up well at all. Housekeeping does a horrible job. Built up dust and dirt on tables and receptacles, filthy tile in the bathroom and disgusting carpet. Bed was comfortable and staff is nice. The choices in Green Valley are slim so this might be the best you can do. It's a shame because cleaning is an easy fix if it's a priority.

Pool not working despite assurances it was. This was a key reason to stay, booked an upgraded room to be close to it. Once there, it was obvious the pool wasn't working and never did the entire time we were there. Asked for a billing adjustment but was denied. Was then told management would call me to discuss but never did. Lots of dishonesty here, outdated rooms. Avoid it.

Great place to stay. Love their breakfast! Room was clean and comfortable. We stay there when visiting my parents. Enjoy the breakfast which you can order from several different options and it is made within a few minutes and served nice and hot!!

My family had a pleasant stay over the Christmas holiday. We picked this hotel over others in the area for several reasons: the complimentary breakfast is served in the restaurant, it has a hot tub, and there are queen beds, not doubles. It met our expectations. There are two bookstores, a Walgreens, and several other shops within walking distance.

I'm sure a manager will respond with something like, "We're sorry we didn't live up to your expectations," which they seem to rubber-stamp on negative reviews. Looking over the reviews, it's happened for years, with little improvement. Briefly, there were problems with lukewarm shower, non-response with a dog left alone howling in the room, Internet speed, TV connection, vending machines that accepted neither a credit card nor cash, overall structural and decorative upkeep and more. We've stayed at enough BWs, including this one, enough to hold platinum membership. This has degraded steadily over the years and is now one of the worst. Management has to wake up and invest in the property. Until that happens in a big way, I cannot and will not return.

This location only offers breakfast coupons for the 19th Hole restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Green valley has an abundance of older people and to see them waiting in line so long was heart breaking. When you finally get a table the food took way to long to be served. For a table of four only half of us received food the other half never came or was served cold. We observed quite a few people leave without finishing their food. We did the same . First time I have never left a tip. Too bad. This location is perfect for visiting relatives who moved into retirement communities. Additionally, rooms had broken furniture, the shower handle was broken and the Jacuzzi was not clean.

Clean, quiet and great value. Will definitely be back in the future. Staff was very attentive and helpful. King bed was extremely comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator were a bonus. Nice shower head.

Very dirty room, smelled like pets slept on bed, urinated on floor, toilet and sink not clean. Food crumbs on floor next to bed dust on mirrors, desk, tv cabinet, sheets smelled like they were not changed out from previous guests.

Use to be a great place in Green Valley- no longer. It's a cheap, low rate, substandard motel. Filthy carpets, mildew air conditioner, in great need of new ownership. This place has gone wayyyyyy down.

Always have a great experience at this hotel. Always comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly, professional, courteous, and go out of their way to make sure we have what we need. Food in the restaurant next door is pretty good too.

Friendly staff and clean standard room centrally located in Green Valley. Free light breakfast in the attached cafe/bar was good. I was able to walk to another restaurant and shops. I will stay here again.

We stayed here before and enjoyed it so stayed again this visit. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Complimentary breakfast options available at the restaurant attached and the pool is nice. We don't spend much time at the hotel due to all the sightseeing and family in town so we definitely like the price on this one the best also. Highly recommend. If we come back to the area will stay a 3rd time.

If you like to sleep with Cockroaches at a establishment where the GM Notah refuses to accommodate and tells you that you used your Military discount t and they are not willing to comp.the room only 20% and the Pool was filthy also and no working icemachines on first floor

The rooms are a little run down, and in need of an upgrade. The bath tub was extremely narrow, and easy to lose one's balance in there. Some of the hotel staff provide poor customer service. Requests made were neglected.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, great amenities, delicious complimentary breakfast. Close to the freeway, shopping, theater, restaurants, interesting tours, and other things to do and see. The beds were so comfortable that we were checking to see what brand they were! We will definitely stay there again the next time we head to Green Valley!

I would give this a -0 rating. The entire facility was dirty and unkempt. The furniture in the carpet were amazingly filthy. I was shocked that the management hasn't done some thing about this when it was so obvious. The windows in my room were so dirty you literally couldn't see out of them. It actually made me nauseous. I feared repercussions from the staff if I complained and as I was traveling solo.

Room was clean and well maintained,beds were very comfortable ,unfortunately the restaurant was beyond a joke come breakfast time ,not enough staff ,long wait to be served ,sometimes up to an hour when breakfast did arrive it was on three occasions in the first 4 days Stone cold ,cold eggs and colder bacon ,it's unacceptable for it to happen three out if 4 times ,for the remount ten days of our 14 day stay we stopped going to breakfast and no recompense was offered by hotel ,you expect a little more for the high rated charged during the ten show ,for over $2000 at least the breakfast should be edible ,expected a little more ,hotel needs to up their game with the restaurant

Best Western is usually my go to. The hot water was barely enough for a quick shower, mildew in the pseudo grout lines. Refrigerator barely got cold even after maxing out settings. Carpet in room old and filthy looking. Smelled like a second class rest home, musty and bleh. I didn't try attached restaurant for breakfast because i was so put off by smell and lack of cleanliness of room.

Bed was comfortable, bathroom spotless, carpet needed a little vacuuming. Loved the free full service breakfast, a rarity today. The food was good. Restaurant closes at 9 pm, would have liked to see it open until 10 pm. Elevator was loud, so I was glad I was down the hall and not across from it. Refrigerator a bit loud but if you use a white noise machine it drowns that out.

If you like a soft mattress and oversized pillows this is your place. Clean room and nice pool. The hot tub as lukewarm and jets didn't work. Breakfast is served in the dining room / restaurant. They gave you a menu with several choices. I had a 2 egg omelet with bacon and toast. The front desk staff are not customer service oriented.

Highly recommend. Very comfortable beds, good breakfast options, and convenient location. Staff was very friendly. Pool area was convenient to room if you request poolside/first floor and ample parking.

This is a clean and quiet place to stay. Check in was easy and check out was fast. Breakfast was in their hotel restaurant. The room price is high considering the time of year.Green Valley is not a vacation spot in the summer.

The hotel is located in the heart of Green Valley, AZ. Close to hiking, golfing and other outdoor activities. Several nice restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant/longe is decent. Friendly helpful staff. Nice size rooms and relatively quiet at night.

Stayed one night at this property when moving to Green Valley with furniture arriving the next day.. the room was clean but it was very dated.. The whole interior of the room, halls and other areas looked like they needed a good face lift. Property can be a bit challenging to find in the dark after a long 8 hour drive.. Amenities in the bathroom and towels could also have an upgrade in products available. Also when checking in there was no one at front desk.. I rang the bell twice and got scolded that I only needed to ring the bell once and the lady was not the friendliest person when checking in at 10PM at night.

This hotel needs a major overhaul. The worst is the carpeting throughout the property, including the guest rooms. They are beyond gross. Staff and housekeeping do their best, given what they have to work with. Would DEFINITELY not stay here.

We have stayed at the Best Western before and have always had good service and clean accommodations. It is a nice location with an attached restaurant that is enjoyed by the locals as well as hotel guests.

My husband and I have stayed at this Best Western at least 25 times in the last few years. We have always brought our 2 poodles. This time, the very hateful older woman at the front desk said we had to pay $20 for each dog. This was new for us. Was it a recent decision to charge for dogs. No, she said, it has always been that way. We asked to see the manager. She refused. She said I am going to charge your card anyway for the dogs. Terrible customer service. We were appalled at her attitude. Is it true that Best Western in Green Valley charges for dogs? In any case, we won't be coming again.

I would not recommend this property. The room I stayed in was filthy. The door security bar was broken. Bed side lamp was not working. carpet in room was stained and edges of the room were dirty. The shower control did not work and water temperature was lukewarm

My husband, sister, and I have chosen another local hotel for many years for our annual vacation to Green Valley to see family, and decided to try another hotel. We are so happy we chose Best Western. The service was great, rooms were very clean, and we had poolside rooms. Additionally, the continental breakfast was awesome! We will definitely choose Best Western in the future!

Very nice hotel, large room and nice pool. Lots of parking, nice lobby and restaurant on-site. For your hot breakfast you eat at the restaurant and choose from the menu items they provide for their hotel guests. On site desk clerk welcomes you and as he said "no powdered eggs here!". There is also a coffee station adjacent to the lobby. Large bathroom with all the amenities. Very quiet as well. Definitely recommend when traveling thru town. Lives up to Best Western standards.

Had to find a place on short notice due to business trip. This is an older facility but was well-maintained. And a read of the other reviews will show this is the best facility in town. Everything worked. The mattress was actually above-average comfortable so that IS a big deal. The desk help was very professional and kind. This is a 55-plus town and they were very patient. Extraordinarily so. The restaurant is very crowded and the serve staff is really over-worked. Mgmt here needs to staff more fairly. Had a couple decent meals but other days the wait line was just too much. Live music some nites.

Because this hotel is in the heart of the community it has a surprising homey feel. The large restaurant/bar opens off the lobby and acts as a natural gathering place for guests and community alike. Food was great and Free breakfast was the best served at any hotel.

I had to pay an extra $65. plus 21,000 points to stay for one night. Had to wait over 2.5 hrs to check in. The music from bar was as loud as a rock concert & the singer screeched off key. They would not close the bar door which was less than 20 ft. from where we all waited in line because the motel's washer had broke over a week before and there were not enough sheets. The beds sagged so much we had to try to sleep across the foot of the bed and still had awful backaches for 2 days. I asked for a receipt and they refused to give me one. They put an additional fraudulent charge f $30 on my credit card and would not tell me why. Breakfast was another disaster. They said the wait would be 20 min. as they had so many tables reserved???? After 40 min. we were seated. I ordered an egg, English muffin & 2 strips of bacon. After 15 min. we were served. I got two strips of fat. The waitress kept saying she would definitely bring ew bacon. The egg was cold. Told her not to bother after another 10 min. as we were already late to leave. Other folks walked out sick of waiting. The pool was over 100 degrees which is bad for anyone with joint replacements or arthritis. Housekeeping staff were very nice, but front desk & customer service not so much. The front desk people should sue the motel for hearing problems after being subjected to that racket. We could have stayed in Huntington Beach, CA for the 21,000 points. Sorry we wasted them on this dump.

While the restaurant had amazing food, friendly staff the cost of the hotel was a bit pricey. I was in town for the Tubac art festival and I stayed 5 nights. The room was clean and the room was spacious. I would stay here again but would think about it as the price is a bit high and really is my only reservation. Cost vs value I would say is fair however.

This is the place for you if you don't really care about cleanliness or staying in a "run down" property. Really looked and felt like we were staying in a low income housing project. Restaurant and bar were great....guessing they are the only reason the place is even still open.

Handle falls off water control in shower, loose grab bar hardware, no coffee cups even though coffee pot in room, worn out towels, no tissue paper in room, receptionist at desk ar 7 AM FOR 15 minutes, asked why my room cost. 20 dollars more than my brother and sister-in-law laws room was told rates change daily on when booked

Arrived to be told our room was not available due to internal problem, instead given a lesser room . Asked to speak to mgr. When manager arrived 15 minutes later, he was curt, unprofessional and uncaring of our needs. His lack of concern for the customer was evident in his dismissive attitude. A resolution to our situation needed to be handled through their corporate customer service department. That took two hours. Accommodations were ok, but couldn't open the sliding door to get any air in the room. Complimentary breakfast involved a wait time of 45 minutes plus. Understaffed? Basically, it's each man for himself here. Guaranteed reservation is not guaranteed and you the customer are not of concern to management. The attitude being, i can rent this room for more, so I'm not concerned.

I've been in customer service all of my working life and run into the so-so to bad customer service all of the time so, when I come across really great customer service, I like to let everyone know about it. The story starts when a certain booking company, who shall remain nameless for now, took my money and never booked my room here. So, I arrived, after a 2 1/2-hour drive to get to the airport, about a 3-hour flight, and another 2-hour drive from Phoenix to Green Vally Best Western to find that I had no room. Lucky for me, the person at the desk was Dawn (Underline her name since she's the reason I'm writing this and giving a 5-star rating), who took over ownership of my problem and fixed everything. I'm now writing this from my comfy and clean room here and plan on making the Best Western Green Valley Inn my home base for all of my future trips to this part of the world

I definitely do not recommend you stay at this particular Best Western Hotel. The hotel was unclean and the maintenance staff did not care to remedy multiple plumbing issues(slow drains). This hotel is also in need of remodeling, it is rather dated. However, the attached (independent restaurant -19th Hole) staff & food were excellent. Our family stayed here Dec.20-27,2021.

This location needs to upgrade. Things are starting to fall apart - the furniture, the fixtures, and even the appliances. The fridge in my room buzzed so loudly I had to unplug it .The overall appearance is old and dingy.

I've stayed at this hotel over the years because there aren't a lot of options in the area. The rooms are clean although sometimes smoky, and the staff are very nice, but the hotel has gotten old and the owners do as little as possible to keep it going. On my most recent stay, while using the shower (which tends to be a bath as well, due to the slow draining) the faucet handle fell off. The lid on the toilet tank had cracked and been glued, sort of. The towel rack was pulling out of the wall. The elevator was out of order (this was fixed, thanks!), the parking lot was super dark and believe it or not, the big Best Western sign out front didn't work for the entire 4 days I was there. What kind of motel doesn't even fix the sign so it lights at night? But it's very clean and the staff does their best given what they have to work with. No one expects the Ritz-Carlton at Best Western, but I think it's time to retire this property. Supposedly, they are going to do some serious repair work but at this point, it might be cheaper to start over, with new plumbing.

Incredible pool and work-out room. Great location - near a fabulous Italian restaurant and convenient to the expressway. Easy access to walking trails. One of the front desk staff was gracious and helpful - the other was not.

We've tried all of the limited options in Green Valley and came back to the Best Western for its convenience, proximity to our family and price. The property is in need of a major update. The carpets are grungy and decor is outdated, but our room was quiet and comfortable. We're looking forward to the hotel's much needed refresh.

We had stayed here 4 years ago and enjoyed the stay but this last stay was different. Everyone was very nice. Rooms seemed clean but are in need of renovating. Everything is tired and dated. The first room we had, the door into the room would not lock as you were leaving. There was no hook on the bathroom door and the bathroom door would not shut. There was no maintenance on site until later on Monday. The desk clerk had to move us to another room. The carpet in the 2nd room was sticky in one spot and TV remote only worked with certain buttons. The restaurant on site is good but slow. We will have to think about whether or not to stay here when return on our next visit.

Unfortunately I didn't believe the negative reviews. Always feel those are a bit dramatic. Not for this hotel. First, the good. Pool area, exterior & staff at hotel & restaurant are terrific. The bad: this hotel is old, dirty & in bad shape. Dust on every surface in room so you know it hasn't been cleaned properly in some time. Gross in any circumstances but unacceptable during COVID. Carpets stained, tiles in bathroom cracked or loose, tub doesn't drain properly so you get a bath and a shower at once, whatever spray they are using to disinfect smells awful. As a health inspector for another state, I'm surprised the cracked tiles alone passed because they are a hazard. The cleaning staff asked if we needed anything the second morning of our stay. I exchanged a few towels and discarded our trash & told her we did not need service in the room. My husband & I left to run errands & our teen & dog were in the room & cleaning staff returned 5x to try to get in the room. Our dog barking & the hand lock are the only thing that stopped them. It seemed suspicious to my son and us. I wouldn't leave valuables about when not present.

WiFi is so weak it only works sometimes, handle in tub comes off in your hands, hair dryer won't work because the breaker blows every couple minutes, no TV channel list, mediocre at best! they do provide a restaurant breakfast, haven't been there yet.

The front desk receptionist, Dawn, was the best part of the stay. She was professional, polite, and courteous. Then the rest of the stay went down hill from there. The floors creak and moan as you are walking to your room. When in the room the A/C didn't work properly. Connect to the internet for business, and it was lagging. Took a shower, AND a bath at the same time! Convenient! The room next to me had a small child and you could hear every stupid conversation clearly through the walls. Go to the restaurant to grab a bite to eat, the tables are broken and wobbly. Perhaps you enjoy eating while your table simulates an earthquake. This is your place to eat. Went to the business center to print some documents and the computer wasn't working. I can not recommend this place. If it was a Motel 6 I could, but I'm used to better from Best Western.

We have stayed at the BW Green Valley Inn several times. We lived in Mexico 2004-2016 and were in AZ at least 4 times a year. We were just through there on our way back to Mexico. We had looked forward to staying at the hotel. I had made all the reservations online with BW. My husband is a Veteran and disabled. We must have a handicapped room. At all of our other reservations we were given such. At Green Valley, the young man at check in was rude, said that we did not have a handicapped accessible reservation, I showed him my printed confirmation, he said too bad. We were put in a standard room that was so small my husband had trouble getting his walker into the doorway! We were to have stayed 2 nights, but checked out the next morning. I phoned the BW Tucson airport and was confirmed a handicapped accessible room. Very lovely place and even though nicer than the BW Green Valley (it has declined in recent years), it was less money that Green Valley. It is too bad that this young man ruined our evening and now I will let others know that Veterans, seniors, and handicapped had better watch out! We will never ever return! Plus, we were towing a small u-haul trailer and when I asked where we could park without inconveniencing others, he replied "park anywhere, I don't care!" We left the truck and trailer parked in front of the hotel's bar/lounge/restaurant for the night. We left the next morning! This is unacceptable! I waited a week to do this because I was so upset!

Rooms and common area exceptionally clean. Onsite restaurant and bar (not operated by hotel) has a great staff, wonderful service and terrific menu. Hotel is located within minutes of golf and a short walk or drive to other dining options. Hotel staff is upbeat, professional and ready to help whenever required. Second visit this year and it never disappoints.

Nice hotel, great customer service in a serene environment. Staff are excellent. Rooms are spacious. Pool is great. Resturant serves good food. There is a onsite bar which was so great. Everything about this hotel I liked.

Staff was excellence. One experience stood out over others, Went to on-site restaurant for an evening take out and was informed that kitchen closed at 8pm, it was 810pm. The host stopped me from walking away and said "wait, let me check". Returned with a "lets get order in now" and cook said they would make it. Thankfully for all my order was a simple hamburger request but they handled it greatly. Myself and my grandson greatly appreciated the results..

I've stayed at both this BW and the one in Nogales , AZ several times . I've never encountered the lack of cleanliness that I have now . In my parents bathroom there was a dead roach with accompanying feces (yes, housekeeping came and swept it out the door). In my bathroom there is a significant amount of roach feces on the floor . This lack of care makes me wonder at the stringency of the COVID precautions they're taking . This is our first venture out of our home in almost 2 years and we're only going to the dentist out of necessity. I find myself questioning what exactly is and isn't clean in the rooms . That doesn't make for a very comfortable stay .

The hotel is located near several golf courses in the Green Valley area. Hotel is spacious and clean. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant/bar is operated by a 3rd party and it does a very nice job at offering a cooked to order breakfast. Nice place to unwind with drinks after a busy day. A variety of other restaurants are also in the area.

We stayed here one night recently. The hotel is centrally located in Green Valley with an outdoor pool. Our room was clean and comfortable and offered a quiet place to sleep that night. The room was average. We did notice that none of the exterior doors and gates are secured to restrict access to guests only. Staff is generally friendly and helpful.

There are few hotels in Green Valley, and none of them are very good. The Best Western used to be the best of a bad bunch, but I'm not sure that is true any more. Our room was filthy. There were huge dust bunnies/hair balls on the floor. The bathtub had something black in it. The internet kept bouncing us off for no apparent reason. But the absolute worst part of our experience was housekeeping. The hotel has signs at check in and a note in the room saying there would be no housekeeping due to covid. Perfect, we didn't want housekeeping entering our room. However, housekeeping came in after our first night with no warning. You can't tell people they don't have to worry about housekeeping and then let unmasked cleaning staff into rooms.

Best hotel in the green valley area by far! Amazing breakfast, rooms where nice and clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helped with any need we had. The pool was nice and clean. We stay here as often as we can!

Loved the court yard and pool area. Great place for families to gather. The bar restaurant area is inviting with all the windows great food and service. Beds are comfortable we had a good experience there.

Excellent service all around. Check in to check out. Excellent Front Desk, Housekeeping, Cook, Lounge and "Carl" the Bartender is very professional and Excellent Bartender. Restaurant and Lounge one of the Best in Southwestern United States. Breakfast was/is DELICIOUS!!!! Hats off to all the staff...

Motel was great and the hot made to order breakfast was very nice. Would give the motel a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the restaurant. Unfortunately service in the restaurant was iffy. Most of the servers were good. One was terrible and a couple socialized when they should of been serving. The food was always excellent and well prepared.

The Restaurant is great, but the hotel has unusable internet speeds of 2-5 MBS - I could not even work and had to check out early and go to another hotel about 1/3 of a mile from there. Shower head not fully functioning, same with sliding door to pool, desk chair would not raise, AC seemed to shut off in the wee hours of the morning...

Ordering breakfast (included) from a limited menu is far superior to a breakfast buffet! The hotel was clean and all employees wore masks. The hotel also observed other COVID cleanliness policies including a plexiglass screen at the check in desk.

First time back at a hotel. Read BW cleaning policy and this hotel appeared to live up to the promise! Room door had "crime scene" type tape to show it had been Covid cleaned and no one had entered afterwards. Bar and full restaurant was great. Social distancing and masks were being observed.

substandard facilities like a worn-out rug. doors squeak, floors groan, amenities like a cheap hotel. chk-in/out was a painfully long wait. never again will we (3 rms 5 ppl) stay here. not worth the $

Stayed here two nights during a hiking trip. Hotel was extremely clean with proper Covid precautions. Outstanding aspect of this hotel is the friendly staff. Breakfast was included and delivered quickly with a smile. Food quality was average. Internet could be improved but this was an outstanding value at an ideal location for our trip.

Though old, this facility has been cared for well. The front desk staff was excellent and the breakfasts offered were good. We didn't use any other services (including anything in our room) because we were traveling with 2 animals during the time of Covid. Were it not for the much higher fees for pets, this would be a solid 4.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt like I was treated as family and they accommodated all my requests. Loved that they had coffee and tea available for me at any hour. Definitely going there again.

The only thing saving this rating from one star instead of two are the employees. They treated us very well and the service was generally very good. It's clear they are trying. The one other positive was the free breakfast, cooked to order. It was pretty good. The facility itself is another matter. This hotel is clearly past its prime and it shows. When we checked into our room we immediately noticed that the wooden suitcase stand, the desk, and the little table by the window were wobbly and literally almost falling over. We were afraid to put much weight on them for fear they would collapse. The floor creaked badly by the bathroom in our room and out in the hallway. The sink drained very slowly and the toilet clogged easily. The bed was pretty good and it was comfy, a positive for the room itself. The vinyl plank flooring in the restaurant was broken in spots and literally coming up in others, and it was generally filthy. When the ice machine in the restaurant went kaput, the staff raided the guest ice machine in our hallway; they were nice enough to give us some for our water bottles upon request so that helped. Oh, and the guests in the room next to us had a barking dog that woke us at 2AM on our last night there. We found out how thin the walls were from that experience. On the whole, the facility is in serious need of renovation and this really took away from our overall experience. Not really up to what we would call "Best Western Standards".

The hotel itself was average. The bonus is that it's connected to a pub with food and live music. With only four hotels in Green Valley, this one is centrally located, clean, relatively quiet, and convenient with a free breakfast.

Motel is in need of updating. Beds are terrible. Lighting in bathroom is dim and hard to see. AC doesn't cool very well. Low water pressure in shower. Front desk staff not following Covid-19 guidelines by not wearing masks. The adjoining resturant has a sign that say, Mask Required, but it is not enforced, Half of the dinners did not wear masks and most were high-rish senior citizens. Restaurant staff is very professional and friendly. I would not recommend hotel or restuarant !!

The hotel is very clean and adheres to the social distancing requirements. Our rooms were immaculate and the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable in this hotel and had no issues.

No one told us that they were only cleaning the rooms every other day. Really? That's helping to keep us all clean. When I complained to the front desk, I was told the only thing that he could do for me was to move me to another room. I said, "how about I move to another hotel?'. The desk clerk responded with"Okay". People were playing loud music and drinking beer from their hotel room doors around the pool. Then the beer cans and bottles were still there 2 days later. Dead bugs in the lobby in front of the restaurant and vending machines.

All bad. The room smelled like dog urine, dirty cups and beer cans left outside the sliding glass door, visible from the room, hair in the tub, flirtatious front desk person, but most upsetting was the restaurant. People doing karaoke, dancing, sitting practically on top of each other. NO MASKS from front desk staff- disrespectful of their guest's health and incredibly stupid. I had 4 nights reserved for business. Left after one. Rude and ridiculous as Arizona explodes with Coronavirus.

I stayed 6/13. Picked this hotel for the Jacuzzi and to explore Green Valley for the first time. The pros: Hotel is generally clean, appears cared for inside, landscape too but the 10 palm trees next to the pool/jacuzzi needed a trimming. Breakfast included. THe negative: This hotel is very lax on covid. Server no mask but was wearing gloves at least, so hopefully no contact. The bar & restaurant was packed as they do Karaoke during the day but I did not attend it. Things break down, fine I get it bad luck, the next day the jacuzzi still broken & no sign of it getting fixed soon. Day b4 was a party poolside as early morning around 7:30, I went back to the jacuzzi (at least heater worked so it was hot, no jet stream) the trash bin was packed with beer cans and pizza boxes, the jacuzzi had a cup and can inside and can here and there scattered along with a shirt someone forgot. Pool&Jacuzzi opens at 7am, just proof that they did not tidy/maintain/clean it before opening it. Heck, there could have been a floating body and they probably wouldn't even know it. I believe it is the responsibility of the hotel to notify guests if there is construction work or if their pools & jacuzzi are out of order as this is a big deal. I could have complained to the hotel about the Jacuzzi, but instead decided to leave it a well earned 1 star and let you all know how this hotel operates. I would not recommend at all a hotel where YOU have to check to see if what THEY offer even works.

Hotel was fine. On the older side but it's a bed and a place to stay. The shower was atrocious! The water literally came on for 9 seconds and then off for about 15. I double checked the valve and it still did the same thing. Now, I know you're saying, wait, this was at 7am with a full to capacity hotel so it can be expected....NOPE! I asked the front desk and they were at about 30% capacity AND I showered at 5am... Maybe just my room and i didn't have time to call the desk so maybe they would've had an answer and moved me? It's a very funny video of the water pressure though - so I can thank them for that.

Moving to Green Valley and needed a few nights at a local hotel. Best Western was suggested and turned out to be fantastic! Nice hotel, great staff and a welcome 'open' restaurant after a cross country drive! I will be recommending this hotel a lot!

The hotel was very clean, all staff very helpful, kind and accommodating. The rooms although older were comfortable for our 6 day stay. We enjoyed the quick easy made to order breakfast each morning in the 19th Hole. Coffee was always available. We ate dinner with friends at the 19th Hole one evening and it was very good with excellent service. Minor issues we encountered were the hot tub had some issues with bubbling, although it was very clean and warm. We would have like to see two comfortable easy chairs in the room for relaxing, one chair was the desk chair. Overall a good option for Green Valley.

Hotel is nice, clean and in a good location. Staff is friendly but in my case unable to help. My wife and I both use the internet and rely on it to do research and for me to keep up with work. The difficulty here was that the internet appeared to be working in almost every room but our room and the 2 beside it. Rooms 119, 117 and 115. Staff rebooted their server but it did not help. Telling us that the internet usually worked great did not help! I reserved the room using 20000 points and certainly do not feel I received value. If internet is important to you make sure you check it in your room before you accept the room. beware of room119

We always stay here. The workers are great as well as the 19th hole restaurant. The menu is great and the food and service goes with it. Freshly painted pool is clean and maintained. The hot tub is great especially on a cool day. Being from New England where it's freezing the hot tub was very comfortable in 70 degree temperatures.

Very good value and great location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The 19th hole restaurant is attached but not owned by Best Western. Their menu is good. Breakfast menu (included in the room rental) is just ok and never changes. It is a made to order breakfast but the choices are limited.

We so enjoyed everything about our overnight stay. Sitting next to the pool absorbing the sun to relaxing in the lounge. We loved the abbreviated breakfast menu...hot breakfast, cooked to order and never left the building. Sure beats the standard "buffet" breakfast.

This is a quiet and peaceful location, with one of the friendliest and most cheerful staffs that I have ever encountered. If you like to use the pool, get a ground floor pool view room, which has a walk our sliding door to the pool area.

This is our annual stop on our Way to and from Mexico. I was able to do laundry (only one machine) while I watched sports in the lounge. We were going to go out for dinner but the menu loooked great so we stayed. Clean rooms and great staff.

My stay at the Best western green valley inn was amazing. The entire staff from housekeeping to front desk was so helpful and accommodating. Yesenia who checked me in, Curtis and Barbara at the front desk were great. Shell and Norma in the housekeeping were always ready to help.Jose was really helpful when I had to get a lamp fixed. The hot tub and pool was nice and warm in the cold weather.Great team and a great place to stay.

With one person in front of us, it took 35 minutes to check in. The room #112 had an odor. The king studio turned out to be 2 old rooms with the connecting door missing. The tub would not drain as you stood in the shower. The 2nd shower, left over from the other room was too disgusting to be an appealing option. The water pressure at the sinks was very low and the faucet up against the sink back. The toilet would move when you stepped in the bathroom. The lighting was very poor in the bathrooms. The glass door by the bed was crooked so the bottom of the door had a gap that you cannot seal. We used a towel. The front desk had interest in hearing about any of it! The restaurant service was horrible. Without being busy, like five tables occupied out of 30, we waited and waited to sit. The first day the potatoes came out hard, like way over cooked sitting in a pan waiting to be ordered. The second day, after we sat, two couples came in after us, ate and left while we and another table waited for our food. I went to the kitchen to complain and ask for our food! Still waited! Like the order never went in! The table next to us, turned out to be regulars, told the manager they are never coming back. They all knew each other by first names. The bacon came out like rubber! What a mess! No offer to discount the food of course. The gym had five pieces of equipment, two broken and the other three were treadmills. After our Christmas visit with family, we thought we would enjoy the hot tub. Bad idea!!! We got in and were overcome with bleach and chlorine burning our eyes! We got out after 5 minutes and got back to our room to find it discolored my wifes suit and completely faded the brilliant purple and blue out of her suit!! That suit is 1 year old and was $200!! We went to check out and get a paper receipt. I was told I could not have a receipt because I used a third party. I asked her what she was talking about because I booked directly with them!? She told me no receipt and she did not know the total. Then walked into the back office leaving me stand there. We are so mad! This kind of service is unacceptable and has to be stopped and this facility cleaned up! I am sure this is a poorly owned and run franchise but where the hell is Corporate Best Western on this property. How is this the face of Best Western in Green Valley, Arizona?? Do they not go look at properties that bare their national name brand? Do yourself a HUGE favor and pick another hotel in this area.

We have stayed here at least 6 times, it just keeps getting better. Rooms upgraded so there are plenty of places to charge electronics. Always clean. Free breakfast a fantastic perk! Never had a bad experience her.

This hotel is easy to locate and has a restaurant just off the lobby. Our room was clean and the hallway rugs had just been shampooed leaving a fresh scent. Everything worked perfectly in the room, the beds were comfortable, the television worked, the internet was fast, the bathroom was spotless -it all added up to an ideal overnight. The restaurant is a bit pricey but average. Breakfast was in the restaurant with a coupon we were given. In addition to coffee or juice, we were limited to three items on the guest breakfat menu. Additional items were $2 each. We had a pleasant stay.

Most things were fine except hallway carpets were dingy, maid service didn't change towels and room had a bit of an odor. Otherwise everything was fine. The location was nice and quiet and the grounds well maintained. It was nice to have a restaurant on the premises.

I travel to Green Valley frequently and stayed at this property 10 months ago. we were concerned and surprised to see the back outside door key access completely broken. as a result of this, they just left the back door unlocked all the time. I did mention it to hotel staff at the time of our visit and certainly expected it to be fixed within a reasonable amount of time. I am visiting Green Valley again next week and am in the process of making hotel reservations. I am reading recent reviews stating that at least one of the outside doors is STILL broken!! are you kidding me?? At least 10 months now! it is obvious that management and best western does NOT take guest security seriously. security cameras are helpful after the fact, they are not preventative Please take care of your guests and address this issue immediately! it is unacceptable for that door lock to be broken for so long It makes me wonder what else is being overlooked, forgotten and ignored.

Business trips require a lot of courteous support. You expect your room to be cleaned, either pool or hot tub working. Internet and fax machines available and reliable or your work suffers.....Our work suffered the lack of all these items

The staff were very accommodating. Rooms were older but clean. Semi updated with carpets older. Pool clean and warm. Inner courtyard style so you lose the sun quite early. We only stopped for the night as we were going to the Missile Museum (a great place to stop and see). Vouchers for breakfast were a nice change to the standard hotel buffet. Only one elevator at the front of the hotel. The biggest downfall to this hotel was that the locks on the outside doors did not lock and were missing on at least one. Not the best security.

Very short notice and the price was the same as online when we called. We arrived into Green Valley Halloween night. The lady dressed as the great pumpkin was exceptionally welcoming. Rooms were clean and quiet. We had a really nice free Breakfast with many options. Also the waitresses were accommodating and smiling :) You won't be disappointed if you stay.

We quite enjoyed our experience here, the staff were professional and helpful; Leeiah was very accommodating during our stay. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start my day, I'll have what I'm having.

This hotel was a wonderful last minute stop on my way to Mexico. The rooms were very clean, the restaurant on site was convenient for breakfast and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I stopped in for one night and ended up staying 4! They made it feel like home.

The room and overall hotel had an old smell. Room was not properly cleaned with dust hanging from ceiling, carpet filthy, Squeaky floor & beds. Overall dated and smelled like it. Would not recommend anyone stay here.

Clean and spacious rooms. The attached restaurant serves certain breakfast items cooked to order free. They also have a bar. And while it's not a five star restaurant the staff is friendly, and it's good enough, especially after a day of birding in nearby Madera Canyon. I will most certainly stay again next trip.

very clean good service great location ac in room was very noisy and not working well had it set on 72 and it was never 72 in the room ( i like it cold to sleep) had maintenance man look at it he said it was working . NO it wasn't it needs a new thermostat!

This is a very nice Best Western Inn property. Service was fine and rooms were excellent. The only problem was they were painting the floors of the exits which led to massive confusion as to how to check out and load one's vehicle in the parking lots. It was a real CF.

Stayed one Friday night. The grounds are well maintained. Front desk staff were very friendly and fast with check-in and check-out. The room was a bit outdated but the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast is in their restaurant and is made-to-order which is nice (they do give you a full menu in case you want to order more than what is offered for free).

We stayed at this property in February of 2019. while there we were very concerned because at least one outside door(in back of hotel) did not lock, so anybody off the street could walk into the hotel any time of day or night. They had to leave the door unlocked because the key card lock was not only broken but completely missing. This is just unacceptable. it shows me that they do not have guest security and safety as a priority. We are heading back to that area in a few months and will most likely stay someplace else-unless this has been fixed. Breakfast was just ok, doors to the guestrooms did not feel real secure. Beds were comfy and staff was nice.PLEASE fix your outdoor door locks!

We stayed at the Green Valley Best western for four nights while we looked for snowbird property. The desk staff took excellent care of us. The motel was well situated for our search and had great amenities. Breakfast was cooked to order and free instead of the usual carbohydrate-laden sweet rolls and cereal. Maid service was flexible. The restaurant food was good. Overall, staying here was a good choice, and we were glad we switched from our original reservation much further north.

all staff members were helpful. bed comfortable options for not having the sheets washed daily room and bathroom extremely clean parking and access easy better signage to the lobby besides all the exit signs. a little confusing to reach the lobby

This is a very nice small property conveniently located in the middle of Green Valley. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are very good, it has a nice restaurant attached to the property that does a very nice off the menu complimentary breakfast. The pool area is very clean and attractive and user friendly. The wifi works fast with no problems and is easy to sign in to. I have stayed here many times over the years and it never disappoints. The rates are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

The doors don't lock (to get in to the building) which is a major safety issue, do not feel safe. The whole building smells of human feces and proceeded to get worse the farther in we walked, when we opened up the door to our room it smelt like we were in a sewer plant. The blankets and pillows are stained (pictures), there are mystery splatters on the sides of the bed frame and in the lamp (pictured). The toilet did not have enough water, causing it to clog extremely easily.The exercise room is a complete joke with broken equipment. The bottom of the pool and hot tub were both disgusting and filled with dirt/rocks, don't have an outside pool if you do not intend in keeping it clean. I feel like I need to shower just stepping inside this place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

My air conditioner had failed and needed a place to stay waiting on the replacement. My stay was very comfortable and relaxing and cooler! The service was great, the room was neat and clean and breakfast was great! Enjoyed my stay and will return there if needed and recommend Best Western to my visiting friends. Very nice!

My reservations were not in the system,a cockroach walked through my room.The front desk had problems locating my rooms.They took a long time trying to check me out.My assistant had to take a bath because his shower was not working.

Nothing out of the ordinary but generally a standard clean, quiet, and comfortable Best Western. Just what we expected. Breakfast was fine, service was excellent, and we had no problems whatsoever. Would stay again.

We have stayed here many years ago and I must say that it needs some updating and improvement. Also, beware that the Ninth Hole was under scrutiny by the Department of Health, you can read about this online. Checking in took a while as there was only one person behind the desk and a line in front of us. If you have luggage there are many stairs to where we were staying, not an easy trek. There was no toilet tissue in the bathroom, we phoned the desk and it was brought up but apparently these rooms are not checked before guests arrive. Not sure that we would return.

All hotels in Tucson were booked so we found this in an internet search. Best thing that could have happened. A little out of our way, but well worth it. Next time we are in Tucson area, will definitely stay here. Entire staff is friendly and helpful. Sit down breakfast was excellent and prepared to order. Evening meal was excellent also. Highly recommend this property.

The property was not clean, there was a horrible order in the hallways & room. (A/C not working property) Our room had not been cleaned, and when I brought it to their attention I was asked who gave me a key to get into the room. Also, we were charged twice on 2 different credit cards for our room. It was a nightmare weekend.

The breakfast is a nice touch as the restaurant is nice and inviting. The non smoking rooms were quite odorous. One of cigarette smoke, one of chemicals. Some attention may need to be paid to that. The pool and hot tub needed attention but...otherwise, it was a nice property.

Boy, has this place taken a nose dive since I last stayed here a few years ago. Here's what I've found in just 24 hours, only 10 hours of it on site--and why I'm moving to another place tomorrow: All phones are blocked for long distance AND toll-free, so don't even consider doing business here. The pool is as warm as a hot-tub. It was 75 and blazing here this afternoon; the pool was probably about 100 degrees. The actual real hot tub appears to have fungus--some very strange green hue. One gate from pool area to return to hotel rooms has a broken key lock--doesn't work. The breakfast was, at best, so-so--and the line for the free breakfast coupon you need to pick up every day at the front desk was 8 people long this AM, all waiting for a couple to check out. (Seriously--the desk clerk has to write down the name of everyone who asks for their daily coupon.) Note--the breakfast coupon is worth $6, which is a good hint about the food. Let's see. You can't turn down the air conditioner; they've got that locked and your room *will* be too warm for sleeping; in my experience, that's another way (like blocking long distance calls) that cheap hotels function. There's only one elevator for a lot of VERY long halls built in a square. Yes, they have step-free access, but you could push a wheelchair 200 yards easily to get to a room. But worst in my book, since I'm traveling as a single woman, is that at least the back door--the furthest away from the entrance--is never locked. It says it will be locked at night, but it's not. Just c'mon in. Terrible security. Outta here as quickly as possible. Try AirBNB, very nice places in the area, particularly with snowbirds now heading home.

If you have stay in Green Valley, and you don't golf, you are probably on your way from somewhere to somewhere, and Green Valley is the closest town. The Best Western here is your best chance of getting a decent meal, a decent cocktail, a swim in a pool and possibly a good conversation. There are dedicated golf resorts in the area, but they make you walk or take golf carts to get food and drink, etc. Best Western is the best centrally-located joint where you can get reliably decent drinks and service out here.

I stayed here while visiting family in the area. The property was very nice, the staff very helpful, the room large and pleasant, and the cook to order breakfast wonderful. I'd stay here again when in the area.

I have no idea how this hotel gets high ratings on this website. The general manager was totally unsympathetic and unresponsive to our concerns. We had reservations for 5 nights, wanted to cancel after our first night but were refused that request despite the fact the pool was too cold to swim in with our grandchildren, the hot tub was lukewarm and greenish, and the outside doors were never locked even at night. The housekeepers also didn't change our sheets when we left the sign on the bed indicating they needed a change. Go somewhere else if you want a hotel that cares if their guests are satisfied.

The hotel could be decent if it weren't for the bugs in the room and the way the girl at the front desk handled it when I reported it to her. The hotel offered no compensation whatsoever, no apology at all and seemed like she could care less about our experience.

I had high hopes as it was recommended by the family members we were visiting. It also received a Trip Advisor Award for 2017. During check in, we should have been clued in by the 3 other groups of guests that were lodging complaints. We were supposed to be on the outside of the building so the room would be quieter and have a view of the mountains, the room we were given looked at the courtyard and the pool. No view of anything but the hot tub, that's for later in the review. We found the luggage bench was broken and what looked like blood stains on the pillow cases. Called the front desk to ask about switching rooms. We were offered a different room, but weren't shown a map where it was, the other room was across the hall. We were told we'd need pack everything up and go back to the lobby first before we could go all the way back upstairs to the other side of the building. We decided to just stay in the room. The manager came up and removed the luggage bench and replaced it with a folding rack. The house keeping person said that the stain on the pillow cases was because of an issue with the dryer and rust spots or something. They replaced the pillow case. We also found a toe nail on the floor. The common areas haven't been vacuumed in I'm guessing weeks. There was a fake eyelash on the stairs I've walked passed 3 days in a row now. None of the exterior doors are secured. You don't need a room key to get in any of the exterior doors. There's a slot for the key card, and a sign saying it's locked. But the system must be broken or they've just turned it off. Went down to the pool, the pool looked clean but was cold. Hard to believe when it was 90 outside. The hot tub you couldn't see the bottom of. So based on that, we decided the pool and hot tub were off limits. We came back to the room after the first night. They made our beds, not sure if the sheets were actually changed. I know the floor wasn't vacuumed, toe nail was still there. Went down to get a cup of coffee in the morning, they don't have any available. I asked lady at the front desk where the coffee was, she snipped at me that I had to get breakfast. So I walked into the 19th hole (the restaurant/bar that's attached, I must say that place might be the only good thing I found during my stay) and asked for a cup of coffee. The very nice waitress gave me a cup of coffee, I offered to pay, she said don't worry about it. I told her about the lady at the front desk. She said they used to have a coffee area for guests, but have since stopped offering it. The alarm clock was also shorting out. I had set it before going to bed. It was blank when we woke up. Tried it in a different outlet and it worked. It seems to me that this place hadn't done any actual maintenance in years. I'm guessing they have a lot of rooms available, they just can't use them because of broken items. The parking lot wasn't even half full. There's a Trip Advisor award for 2017, so not sure what changed since then, but there's no way they should be able to display it now. Nothing has been updated it at least 15 years. No USB outlets in the room. The yellow stained plastic on the appliances tell their age. The A/C worked well, but needed to set it to 64. At 67 it never kept up. Staff was generally unpleasant. Building in general was not clean and in a general state of disrepair. If you stand at the front desk and look into their office, the amount of dust on the diffuser and ceiling tiles is just disgusting. Must be 1/2” think. I'll try to amend this review with some pictures. Bottom line, find an AirBnb or another hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I stayed there a few times a couple of years ago. Each time was a little worse than the previous. This time, I had the maid service knocking on my door of my first morning at 9am to clean my room. There were two tables whose legs were about to come off. They didn't include a blanket for the pull out couch. The hot tub was a beautiful shade of algae/slime green. The pool tiles were missing. The internet was spotty. The only reason why I stayed there this past time, and not at the hotel that I found, was because my new place closed after two years. I'm now looking for other places to stay. Also, their suites are not true suites. They are adjoining rooms with the door removed and a pull out couch in one of the rooms with the bed in the other room.

The hallway carpeting is dingy and needing a good cleaning or replacing, but, my room was just fine. Beds were quite comfortable--in-room amenities were very good, refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi. Even the in-room coffee! Was so happy to see no styrofoam cups, and, the coffee was decent too. I didn't spend too much time in the room, as it was basically a home base for my explorative trips in the area. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful.

We'd love our stay in this hotel. The staff is welcoming, room clean, confortable and quiet.The manager is very kind. I was surprised by the deco in the lobby, great taste!! Well located in town. Bravo!

Booked my room through Booking.com. Was not disappointed. The customer service was excellent. Complimentary breakfast was great! Wait staff were friendly. Would stay here again!! The 19th hole is a popular spot for people in the community.

I would not stay here again nor recommend this Best Western. First, the staff was friendly enough and there was no parking or resort fee. The AAA discount was $130 a night. This was expensive for a dumpy old hotel with many needed repairs, noisy rooms, and poor quality breakfast. We stayed in room number 160A, Right next to the stairwell. The room was very dark, they have small windows and dark, ill fitting drapes. The light fixtures were old with 40 watt lightbulbs. The shower/bathroom water handle was stripped, and fell of trying to turn the water on/off. I placed the handle, on the top of the toilet-thinking the maid would call maintenance to repair it but no, the handle was still laying on top of the toilet when we returned. The remote control for the TV didn't work. On March 1, we were were awoken at 12:15 AM, by a large commotion in the hall. I heard a muffled cry out from a woman then several bumps and banging. I thought someone had fallen down the staircase but then heard an angry mans muffled voice. I'm not sure what happened but I believe a suitcase may have bounced or was dropped Down a flight of stairs. Later the same early morning, around 4:30AM a huge commotion erupted. Lots of noise for about a half hour. We think a large propane tank was being replaced or pumped. Very noisy and a sleepless night. As you can see from the pictures, the pool towels were non-existent at 3:00PM the next day. The pool is old and in need of repair. Breakfast was the same as any hotel breakfast-heated up in a microwave, greasy, but served at the table. The restaurant was very loud-noisy. Oh and only one side of the bed had a place to charge cell phones or I pads.

The rooms were very nice and clean! It was nice to have a good restaurant on site, and the location was very good for us!! I enjoyed the closeness to the Farmers Market and other sites. Many things were within walking distance!! I would have given a five star rating but the carpets in the hallway and stairs appeared dirty!

Nice hotel, convenient to the area. We experienced 2 problems. #1 location of elevator, only one in the building and we were on the other side of the building and were told to just take the stairs. #2 bathroom toilet... sounds crazy I know but they are toddler size. Please see the picture. We are not large people, but had a problem with the size of the toilet seat. If you're a guy reading this you'll understand, no "tuck" room to do #2. I don't know how else to say it...

We enjoyed a full delicious breakfast with great service. We had two nicely sized queen beds. Our room was welcoming and clean. The fitness room had a nice selection of workout equipment. Beautiful outside pool.

The food in the restaurant is horrific. Do you have the most basic of food needs? Too bad. Do you enjoy eating over processed yellow cheese products? You've come to the right place. Do you enjoy puking after eating dinner? Well, this is your place.

We stayed at Best Western Green Valley Inn for the convenience of being close to Tubac and some other places we wanted to check out. We were in Tubac for dinner and were returning to Green Valley to find the Bar at this hotel was quite a popular place. We had a nice nightcap at a very reasonable price and a friendly conversation with a local. The King room was nice and large with a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. We did have a small problem with a slow draining sink and were assured by the front desk staff it would be taken care of. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We received vouchers for free breakfast at their café. The breakfast was not a buffet, you actually could order off the menu and have the prepared food served to you including coffee. It was very nice to have eggs cooked the way I like them with your choice of meat and toast (without having to stand at a toaster in a buffet line). The building is older but seems to be pretty well maintained. The is ample parking all around the hotel.

BF selected this hotel as his landing base for his birding excursions. It was pretty dated and the carpet smelled like it. Small pool, but nice hot tub. The doors weren't very secure either. Breakfast is at the hotel's restaurant, which was fast and pretty good. Happy hour had good specials. Okay place just to lay your head, not for an extended stay.

For the budget conscience traveller, The Green Valley Best Western is an ideal stay. It offers many amenities at a very affordable price. Overall a great value with breakfast included. Thanks for being so pet friendly!

This is one of the noisiest hotels I have stayed at. We could hear the people talking in the rooms next to us and the floor creaked when the people above us walked around. Also there were two big dogs down the hall that barked when anyone walked by. I asked to move to a higher floor but there was nothing available. The beds are hard and the sheets are scratchy. The breakfast was good and included and wifi was free.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinners. Comfortable and clean rooms. Great location to main streets to get around quickly to golf courses and other restaurants nearby.

I visited Green Valley in December 2018 to look at homes to purchase. My real estate agent recommended the Best Western Green Valley Inn and I made a reservation through Expedia. When I arrived at the hotel and asked that my room be located on the top floor I was told that I could only have a room on the first floor next to the pool. Of course, the clerk said she was unable to make any changes to a reservation made through Expedia and, of course, Expedia made no mention of the limits on the rooms they had prebooked through this hotel. No matter how many polite questions I asked of the desk clerk, she continued to be rude and unpleasant. I will not return to this hotel. Ever.

Great hotel with excellent service from front desk, to restaurant/lounge, to housekeepers smiling greetings, in hallways. I highly recommend it to all in the area for business or leisure travel. I plan to stay here exclusively when I am in the area.

First time staying at this BW. I usually stay at the Comfort Inn down the road. Wishing I had stayed there. There appears to be bodily fluids on the lampshade and ceiling (see attached pictures). Didn't get much sleep because it sounded like the people above us were doing aerobics all night. Finally called the front desk to complain. If you have the option, stay at the Comfort Inn.

This is a clean well run hotel is located near lost of shopping, tourist sites like Tubac Village and a short drive to great restaurants and the Mexican border. It has a great restaurant/bar and pool area with awesome service

This is one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed in. Inside and out it presents beautifully. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. We were greeted with a snack and bottle of water each - a very nice touch.The food service for breakfast is through a restaurant in the hotel, and it was very good food. They also offer exceptionally long hours - nice for those people who don't like to rush out in the morning.

Stayed 1 night for an early event the next morning. Best thing was the attached restaurant and bar. Good menu and good food. Cooked to order breakfast was timely. Very convenient. Windows in the rooms open to the outside - I enjoy the night air. However, my room opened to the pool area. BE AWARE - the hotel has an 11pm curfew on the pool! Probably good if you want to be in the pool. Terrible if you have an early morning and a family wants to cavort in the pool. All else about the property is typical of BW.

We enjoyed the convenient location of this hotel. it was located a few blocks from our folks home which we were preparing for sale. The pool was nice and warm which we enjoyed. Having a restaurant next to the hotel was also very convenient .

This hotel was rated the best in Green Valley. I would try something else, but the selection is limited. The decor appears dated. The wall HVAC wined for 5 second after shutting down every cycle. Must have been the fan or belt issue. The floor above ours squeaked and the occupant woke us by walking around all hours of the night.

My two sisters, my wife and I, stayed in two, 2-room suites for 7 nights in early November 2018. The weather was perfect - highs in the low-80's all week. We were there to visit my brother who lives in Green Valley. The hotel was clean, in good condition, and the outdoor pool is heated. The stay included a restaurant, sit down breakfast. The wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ate dinner there one night — we all had the small sirloin steak and it was excellent. There is s really good restaurant next door, Ragazzi Italian Restaurant - we ate there 2 nights. If you have time, go to Tubac, about 20-25 minutes south on I-19, for the excellent shops — and eat lunch at Shelby's!!!

We booked a free night at this hotel using our accumulated points. When we received our receipt in the morning we were charged 26.76 for room revenue, 1.61 city tax and 1.63 state tax. Total charge was $30.00 for a free room! Has never happened before at Best Western and will never again happen to us. Too many good hotels to choose from.

Visited the hotel in the way to Sierrita. Decent hotel but slightly aged. The good things about the hotel: breakfast selection, room size and bed quality. Things that can be improved: lighting so dim, bathroom quality. Staffs are good but did not help much with information about the area. Overall, will look at other options in the area.

This property is conveniently located in Green Valley. It is very attractive, the staff are efficient and pleasant. The room was comfortable and included all the usual amenities. The restaurant was top-notch, the free breakfast was an excellent value and dinners are very good, plus the service was always excellent.

The Best Western in Green Valley, AZ is very nice for the Best Western Brand. It is conveniently located in town and is very clean with a good layout of the entire facility. There is a fair restaurant attached bur there are excellent restaurants within walking distance. We ended up moving to the area and when guests visit, whom we or they don't want to stay with ud, we send them there.

I have come to look forward to certain things when I stay at a Best Western and this property not only met all my expectations but exceeded them. Even though the property is older and showing signs of its age, my two queen bed room with micro and refrig was large with a very comfortable bed, looked like it had just been painted, was very clean and everything worked properly. Staff was helpful, checkin quick, good selection of TV channels, free USA Today all made for a pleasant visit. Property is conveniently located not far from the freeway in a quiet area (I experienced no noise from the outside or from other rooms). Three things made this property stand out for me: (1) they have a regular restaurant on site that serves three meals a day with lots of choices. For breakfast you can select three items from a long list and each item is individually prepared. I selected a cheese omelet that was delicious (the three item choice is $6.99 for guests not staying at the motel) (2) I was there on a cool day in October and enjoyed sitting around the outdoor pool and reading and (3) there is coffee available 24/7. Highly recommend.

Very nice, clean hotel. Beds were comfortable. They have a very nice restaurant and breakfast was wonderful, not your standard buffet style, they give you a choice of eggs, meat, etc. and then cook it to order and this is included in the price of the room which by the way is very affordable. I would definitely stay here again. It is also close walking distance to other restuarants in the area.

Bed linen looked frumpy and hair found in sheets. Went to desk for new sheets and was promptly given some but without even a "sorry". Big toenail clippings on floor. Sliding door very hard to move which is probably why the handle is broken. Hallway carpets dirty. Pool area very nice. There are many repairs needed to aging facility but it is still a nice setup and our stay was good.

Very disappointed in the pool area - the pool was dirty and COLD! The hallways needs new flooring and carpet - I felt like I was walking on Velcro. I forgot my curling iron and curling brush in the bathroom and called them a few hours after I left - of course no one found it - yet I know it was left right on the bathroom counter to cool before packing! Front desk people not very helpful or friendly, just answered what they had to, that is when someone was AT the front desk.

My original schedule was to stay at the Best Western in Nogales, AZ, however, it was sold out, this hotel was the closest to my destination. First time I stayed here, although it is an old building, they manage to keep it within the hotel brand standards, fare is very affordable and the breakfast at the little restaurant was awesome. The lobby and restaurant/bar are fairly nice, but the hallways and rooms are a bit dated. The price is fair, and it includes breakfast. The breakfast selection is a bit limited, but what they do offer is of high quality. Not a place I would want to hang out at all day, but it's perfect for a home base if you have things to do during the day.

Friendly and helpful staff. The room is a little dated but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. The onsite restaurant is basic but the food is very good and the wait staff is excellent and fun.

We needed to book a table at a future destination, and had trouble with the international prefixes and the staff were extremely helpful in allowing us to use their phone to get through. Lovely room, great pool area and very nice restaurant attached.

I used this hotel for a local triathlon race. It was comfortable, quiet, and clean with a very friendly staff. I have a pretty strict diet and the restaurant was able to accommodate my needs. I would stay here again.

Clean and quiet hotel. Meal at the restaurant was fine. Only complaint was with housekeeping. Stayed three nights and got no fresh soap. For the price you would think that the hotel would replace the sundry items on a daily basis.

What a nice Hotel..The room was wonderful...Beds and bedding very nice..pet friendly a big plus...coffee in your room and in the lobby area..Breakfast fantasic...Grounds very clean..I am a fussy hotel person and this was a big plus for me...The only con was at front enterance was 2 benches and no place for smokers to put out smoking material....I would definatly stay here again!!

We had a discrepancy with our bill , and a Very patient young lady,Brooke with the help of her manager, was able to sort it out to the satisfaction of all. We always have friends and family stay at BW when they come to visit. It is without question the best hotel with the best location in GV.

Booked here because of proximity to the Madera Canyon where we planned to hike. Arrived around 3:30 and were told no rooms available until 4, housekeeping hadn't cleared rooms. No acknowledgement of our diamond status, no effort made to communicate with housekeeping. Kind of surprised but whatever. We went next door for a drink.(SMOKING happy hour btw). Returned to desk at 4:10 and told no rooms ready yet. Again she seemed to be blaming housekeeping but made no effort to find out what was happening. Then a room was ready. Per my husband the housekeeping person argued with thew reception clerk saying that yes there had been rooms all along. Again the desk clerk never tried communicating with Housekeeping department. So that was a drag. But the room was great, spacious and clean. Housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was at the restaurant and it was very good. I should add that, listening to our complain regarding our check in, the manager apologized and offered us bonus points. All in all, decent place to stay if you're in the area.

We stay here because its the best hotel in Green Valley and recommend it to everone we meet going there. The Hotel and Restaurant staff is extremely nice and always receptive to your needs. We think the rooms are very clean. the pool area is very nice and handicap accessable.

Background: I stay at this Best Western every 3 months or so when I fly to Tucson to visit my aunt. I generally leave my room at about 9:00 am and spend time with my aunt until early evening, when I return to my room. My stays are usually four nights at a time. I have been doing this since 2014. This is my best choice of lodging in the Green Valley area. However, my past two stays have been so bad I felt the need to write a more current review, particularly since my earlier Tripadvisor reviews contributed to this hotel receiving the Tripadvisor Excellence Award for 2017. In December 2017 noise around my room resulted in two sleepless nights before I was switched to another room. That room smelled like smoke and was not as clean as I expected; the window was propped open when I arrived to the room. Friday, 3/16: TV not working. After 2 unanswered calls to front desk I used my cell; Katelyn answered. Hearing of my recent knee replacement, she sent Brook, who brought up batteries & fixed it. Saturday, 3/17: went to fitness room; no disinfecting wipes. I told the front desk; over the five days of my stay there would never be disinfecting wipes in the fitness room. Ready for shower but drain was down; tried to pull it up with the knob but it came off & wouldn't reattach. I propped it in place with a disposable coffee insert so the shower would drain. Called front desk to report it: said I would be away all day so they could fix it any time that day. The drain wasn't fixed for 4 days. I also asked for extra blanket. 7:30 pm: no blanket, Katelyn said she would bring up a blanket from the stock room. 40 minutes later no blanket; I walked back to the front desk. No bell: I called back to the space behind the desk. Katelyn emerged, reached into the closet immediately behind her & got a blanket. She said she didn't know the maintenance man's schedule so wasn't sure when he would see the work order for the drain. 9:33 pm: opened the bed to get in; there seemed to be a pad between the sheets. The extra blanket was there after all, just between the sheets. I had to remove the blanket, remake the bed, then try not to worry about the blanket leaving something on the sheets. Sunday, 3/18: 6:10 am: no internet. After usual remedial measures I called front desk. Leah suggested everything I'd already done, then said she'd had no other complaints. I should bring my computer down to the front desk. 8:30 pm: despite specific note I left requesting sheets & pillowcases be changed--the bed was unmade, the rest of the room clearly only half done. I called front desk; clerk said a housekeeping person was still there & she would send her up. Minutes later the night clerk, Daniella, came to my room with new bedding. Housekeeping left so Daniella made the bed. Here I would like to say I truly appreciated the initiative shown by Daniella. Had it not been for her I would have had even less sleep. Monday, 3/19: I asked the desk clerk, Marcella, to have the best housekeeping person clean my room that day; I specifically said I didn't want the previous person or persons who had “cleaned my room” to enter my room again. Marcella, the clerk who checked me in when I initially arrived, earnestly told me she wants to be sure my stay is as it should be. The manager Wade was due in at 8:00 am but wasn't in at 8:45 am when I left for my aunt's house. 8:00 pm: the room was properly cleaned. This resulted in the best sleep of my entire stay. The shower drain was finally fixed! No word from Wade.

return trip with in 2 years, the staff were welcoming, rooms clean, gym and pool area as well. The bar & restaurant staff very friendly and the free breakfast is much more than one would expect for being free.

Rooms were well maintained. Front desk staff was OK. Ashley did't respond to everyone's "bell ringing" for about five minutes, which seems like forever. Restaurant has issues but it is not run by Best Western. We stayed eight days and got so sick of slimy eggs when we ordorded over medium that we changed to hard eggs and they really came out hard. Also some times they were "understaffed" so we were not allowed to sit at the empty tables and were told to wait in the hotel lobby! Had a fire drill at one o'clock one morning.

We have been staying at this hotel for over 20 years. It has been painted and there have been a few up grades over the years. I was pleased to see that the pool was heated this year because pools at this time of year are not usually heated because of the added expense. The breakfast fare is better than most BW as the variety is much greater. Let me just say you could stay here for a month and not eat the same breakfast twice. The service is slow in the restaurant so if you have a t-time plan ahead. The bed was great. The WiFi was great and our room was clean. There is ample parking for RV's. Also know there are many (n=4) restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. I recommend El Rodeo.

Any hotel has to provide clean bed linens, but there were blood stains on the duvet. Also, the inside of the bed side lamp shade was spotted with something red. I also visited the hotel bar, it was very difficult to get service, even though two waitresses were preparing napkins and silverware right across from me while they joked among themselves and didn't pay attention to patrons. This stay cost a bit more than $100 a night but because of the cleanliness issues I would value it at $50 a night. I just pushed the duvet aside and did not complain because I didn't want to deal with hotel staff who don't seem very attentive. This is an old property and the owner shows no interest in investing in modern and clean facilities. My mother lives in the community and I will be choosing a different place next time.

So many things wrong. I was in 3 different rooms and they were all filthy. One had ceiling tiles above the shower with water damage (shocker), one had a broken TV and we found stuff under the bed in another. On top of that, when I requested one of the rooms to be cleaned, I was told that it was past 1:00 so that would not be possible. If this is one of the best hotels in GV, driving from Tucson might be advisable.

We had never stayed in a Best Western before, so we booked a room at the Comfort Inn before arriving in Green Valley. It was the worst hotel experience ever. We checked out of there the next day and was so thankful that when we walked in to the Best Western, as we could immediately see the difference in quality. We were traveling with our special needs nephew and had some extenuating circumstances. During check in, Ashley went above and beyond to help us out. In fact, all of the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel and our rooms were quiet, clean, the beds comfortable and the wifi worked great. There was really good coffee available and having a restaurant on the premises was a big bonus! We look forward to coming back to Green Valley, but this will be the only place we stay! Basically I have written of the things I was & was not happy with. The staff as a whole, were wonderful. Mostly disappointed in the pool & spa not having heat. The room was okay, not the best, but not the worst either. We really liked being on the 1st floor and close to our car. It was a real plus.

This hotel is in much need of a remodel. Staff was very nice and the restaurant attached was good. But it a very tired place. In our room, shower faucet was so hard to pull on and fan was unbearably loud. The bed was pretty comfortable but squeezed with every move. The carpets in our room and in the common areas were smelly and dirty. At $120.00 a night (includes one pet) I feel was so over priced for the shape of this place it is a shame.

Clean room, very quiet, in a very safe community. Appreciated having a frig and microwave plus a single-serve coffee pot. Central location. Don't forget about the free breakfast. Ask about username for wifi at front desk; they provide password but expected username to preload, which it did not.

This hotel was in the middle of town and within walking distance to restaurants and our relatives we were visiting- very convenient. All of the front desk clerks were outstanding and very helpful and friendly. From advice at check in (a young blond woman) to the morning staff that assisted me in sending a document. All of the restaurant servers and bar staff were so friendly. Our housekeeper was very accommodating when we didn't need full service. This is the most friendly and helpful hotel staff I have ever encountered. Despite the restaurant servers being overwhelmed with customers Christmas week, they always maintained a friendly approach to the demanding seniors in Green Valley. I loved that the breakfast items were from the regular menu and cooked by the main kitchen to order. The salads are fresh and well-prepared. The people and the warm comfortable feeling of the restaurant/bar will keep me coming back. The Sierra Nevada hoppy ale on tap was great! Very minor faults that would have to be fixed at next remodeling: Small toilets, lack of air turnover in rooms probably can't be changed but the doors to the outdoors poolside rooms are helpful, the fridge in the room froze everything, including wine.

Best Western Green Valley Inn was a great place to stay, the rooms were comfortable and clean, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.The attached restaurant and bar had great food and a friendly and attentive staff even when they were packed on a Friday night. If they add a few more power outlets in the rooms around the beds this will be the perfect place to stay!

My main complaint with this place is the lack of convenient outlets for plugging in things like CPAP (receptacle near bed had clock in one outlet, light in the other). The outlet nest the desk/table is a reach for short phone charger cords. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great. Lots of free parking.

Would definitely recommend!! Everyone is super friendly, the breakfast is amazing and fast!! It is clean, quiet, very comfortable. The staff seems very eager to be helpful in any way they can. Even the cleaning ladies!

I would stay here again, the rooms were clean and quiet. Good WiFi. The best deal is the complimentary breakfast that is included. A real dining room where you order off a menu, excellent selection. We had breakfast there 3 mornings and it was very good every day. Service is excellent in the restaurant for dinner also. They have a very good bar with great bartenders. We would stay here again.

Courteous service and staff. Location is central. Wed is market day behind the hotel, local vendors of foods, arts and crafts. South of Green Valley is Tubac, an artsy village of Mexican crafts. For those who like to hike or bike, 15 miles East of Green Valley on Continental road is Madeira Canyon. Enjoy the area!

The staff was very professional, and very courteous. Great rooms with all of the necessary amenities. Conveniently located, and a decent breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is staying in Green Valley.

Rooms seem a little old. There were only two available wall plugs. Breakfast seemed great at first blush. Available 6 to 11 and order in restaurant from menu. Only three items plus coffee and rather bland breakfast. Understaffed. Waiter forgot to bring us our coffee and tea. It came after we finished breakfast. No refill. The next morning waiter said he was having trouble entering our order in the computer.

I'm so impressed! This place was so nicely maintained, rooms were clean, staff accommodating + friendly, good WiFi and the free breakfast daily. We stayed here for 3 nights and will certainly stay again!

There are not many choices of places to stay in Green Valley, and we think this Best Western is probably the best...large clean rooms and a decent breakfast included with the room. Friendly staff and the whole place runs efficiently.

Very comfortable place to stay, great staff. Great breakfast. Enjoyed room on the ground floor with direct access to pool, but there is no screen in order to have fresh air. Door is either open or closed.

Great facility in a great location. Much to do in the area, and all easily accessible from the BW. Check in was quick and easy, room was well equipped and comfortable. Restaurant service was excellent and the food was good. Nice pool area if you're here in warmer weather.

We were on our way to Mexico and decided to spend the evening before crossing the border in Green Valley. While we had a reservation we our room was not prepared when we arrived so we opted to go to the nearby Safeway to catch up on items we would need later in the trip. When we came back the room was still not ready so we spent a few minutes in the attached bar/restaurant until it was. Our room was on the second floor toward the rear of the property and fairly quiet. The room was well prepared and staff was friendly if somewhat unorganized at first. The plus was the restaurant that evening and the easy check out the next morning. Staff seemed much more organized in the morning.

Reasonable price and great location for a visit to Mexico. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Great food in the hotel restaurant with super servers. Several shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

The hotel staff were friendly, respectful and professional. Every request was handled promptly and with good cheer. The 19th Hole Bar and Grill was excellent for lunch, dinner and served a made to order breakfast which was well prepared and served promptly even during a very busy breakfast service. All in all, a totally enjoyable stay.

Clean rooms. Convenient to the border, grocery shopping at nearby Safeway is good. Nice pool, if not crowded. Hot breakfast was great-eggs, bacon, fruit. Several nice restaurants you can walk to from the hotel.

The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but it is a nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, served by voucher, in the bar was very poor quality. Certainly not up to the normal BW standards for a hot breakfast. Service overall was very good. I will stay here again.

We were supposed to get a handicap room. Upon checking in, we were told that none were available, so we were stuck. We had only four small pillows, and were told there were no extra ones. Later, we realized that the toilet was leaking at its base. We saw the cleaning crew in the hall, so we told them. When we got downstairs, we saw the maintenance man and talked to him. He was headed up to the room. We left and did not come back until later that night. The bathroom floor was still wet. We left the next day.

We were in town to visit family and I am very happy we selected the Best Western Green Valley Inn. The included breakfast was a great way to start our day. The staff at the hotel and especially in the restaurant were all very friendly. After a long flight and drive from PHX, I was so delighted to receive bottled water in our welcome package. It was nice to have the small refrigerator in the room. Some shaded areas by the pool would be a nice addition.

If you have low expectations of what a good quality hotel is like, this one is for you. Otherwise go with the more trusted name hotels, the price difference will be well worth it. Also suggest you look to other options such as renting a local house for your stay, there are many snowbirds that only live here part time.

I stay about 80 nights a year in hotels, almost all booked through hotel web sites. Best Western is the worst operating site out there. I wound up booking the wrong dates for the stay and never received any communications from the hotel when we didn't show up for a multiple night stay. When we called after getting an email to evaluate our stay (that we weren't even there for) to rebook the dates, the reservationist lsughed at me!!!!!

Hotel very well maintained; very clean; pool area meticulous; hotel staff very friendly and helpful; restaurant staff and food very nice; complimentary breakfast was very nice with hot food included on list with generous portions. Located very close to the highway and within close walking distance to several restaurants and shops.

We stayed here 2 times this year looking at homes in the area. Both times were good. The check in/out is quick and there is a free newspaper and free coffee/tea avail at all times. Breakfast is included at the attached restaurant and is cooked to order although I admit I prefer a breakfast buffet where you can just grab something quick. The room was comfortable and clean but a bit dated. The value was very good and we would stay here again.

Good food, friendly staff, clean rooms. Lots of locals come here to eat in the restaurant. The coffee all day in the lobby is very nice. We always stay here when we visit Green Valley. We really like this hotel!

We have stayed at the hotel in July and again in August for a total of 9 nights. Older building but nicely maintained and updated. Staff is excellent and willing to go out of their way to make your stay the best possible. We will return.

We only stayed 1night, if we were to have stayed longer we may have shopped around a little more. The value was OK (free breakfast helped although limited menu). The main reason we stayed here was location to where we were visiting. Although hotel seemed clean there was a unusual smell of maybe mildew upon entering rear of building. The decor of room may be be a little dated compared to the Hilton Garden Inn at The Phoenix airport which we stayed at the next night. If there would have been a Hilton near Green Valley we would rather go there and it was cheaper per night also. Location, location, location.

The place was clean. The staff was helpful. A nice place to stay. It was great having a pool, a place to eat right on premise. Breakfast was nice having a restaurant instead of a breakfast bar. Not modern but a great value.

Just spent 3 days at this Best Western. It is clean. The staff is very nice. Breakfast is good. BUT -- the decor is extremely tired. Horrible yellow walls. Grout in bathrooms filthy and breaking down around the base of the walls. An unpleasant moldy smell -- so much so that our clothes carried it to the next destination. And very loud air conditioners. Time for Best Western -- or whoever owns it -- to give this property a major upgrade/face lift. Too bad it's just about the only show in town.

This is truly one of the best places we've stayed at. The rates are always comparable, the rooms and area are clean, and the front desk are always friendly and accommodating. But our favorite by far is the free breakfast - it's at the restaurant/bar on the property - you get it made to order by the friendliest and most hard working servers ever! The bartenders are awesome too! We really love this place and always look forward to our stay here.

We stayed for four days while waiting for our furniture to be delivered. We were very pleased with the room, the personnel, the restaurant, and the overall experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel staff are very accommodating. This is a comfortable, laid-back environment. Hotel beds are very comfortable. Hotel is noticeably aging. Haven't seen any significant changes in last couple of years. It's still my hotel of choice in Green Valley. Free breakfast is very good.

Ashley at front desk was great. As the maid who clean my room did a great job also. It was nice and quiet. Found a like second hand book store in Valley shop next door, that was a good find. Took friend to Tucson for dinner at Cracker barrel. Love it.

Very nice staff and the room was clean but items didn't work correctly, it is in need of repairs and updating. Its too bad because there are not many places to stay in Green Valley. The restaurant was very good for the most part. A little under staffed in the morning but not a big issue. The staff tries really hard to keep up.

Rooms are always immaculate & clean (I'm a sheet checker)! Staff is always helpful and friendly and goes over the top to accommodate clients. Free breakfast ($5.99) every day you stay!!! It doesn't get any better than this!!

The reviews are right - this is a well-run, clean and pleasant place to stay. We had the King Suite for the two of us and it was great. Two bathrooms are always nice and I was able to get up early and watch the news and drink my tea in the living room while my husband slept. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. The housekeeper was very friendly and lovely. And the free breakfast is a hot meal that you order from the menu! No, this is not a five-start hotel, but it deserves a five star rating for excelling in it's own class of hotels.

We were in Green Valley, AZ for the funeral of our uncle. Our mood was not the best. but Front Desk Host - Brooke Bennett was absolutely fantastic. She was like a ray of sunshine. She never stopped smiling and just make our interactions a great experience. She definitely made us smile. I wish more people were like her. Restaurant waiter - Greg Hensen was also amazing. At lunch, he could now have been more friendly and warm. Greg continually checked to make sure that everything was okay.. with a great sense of humor and dedication. They made a difficult situation amazing.

While on a bird-watching trip, my friend and I stayed here the first two nights, then returned not only because of the location but because of the quality of the motel. I generally go for BW and rarely have been disappointed. This BW is near the interstate. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable. Each room has a microwave and a refrigerator, two amenities I always look for. The staff is friendly and helpful. I like this part of the state and gladly would stay here again.

This is an older hotel, but it was refurbished a few years back. It is VERY clean, the rooms are good sized with fridge and microwave, beds are comfortable, and the plumbing works well. The staff are friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast with choice of items is included in the price. It is centrally located and within walking distance of several restaurants. I have stayed here many times over the years and have always been happy there. My one gripe is that the refrigerators are usually turned to the coldest setting, so everything freezes, but if you remember to turn it down to the mid range, things will stay nice and cold. Really a good place to stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable bed, clean room, we were able to have our dog with us. Great restaurant. Breakfast was included in the room and it was a full breakfast, not like many hotels. Highly recommend the Best Western Green Valley Arizona.

Family get away to enjoy pool. We enjoyed the property amenities. Didn't even get a chance to enjoy the made to order breakfast..because the beds were too hard to get out of; very comfortable! We will be back to enjoy again, hopefully breakfast next time. Thank you!

Rooms are clean, beds comfortable A/C works wonderful when it was 110 degrees outside. They allow pets for a small fee. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good, great choices and varied menu. Will definitely stay there again.

Clean hotel, terrible air conditioners, terrible front desk staff. The 19th Hole restaurant attached to the hotel is awesome. Great staff especially Jesus - ask him for some jokes! They also prepare the complimentary breakfast for the hotel, which is awesome as well.

The Best Western in Green Valley is an excellent place to stay. The whole place is spotless and the attention they give to cleanliness is great. The rooms are very comfortable and extremely quiet. Every morning there is a full hot complimentary breakfast in the restaurant and each person orders from a menu. The food is good and very carefully prepared. Staying here made our trip most enjoyable. Checkin and checkout was simple and easy. I would definitely recommend this place and I would be happy to stay there again.

We travel to Green Valley reasonably often, and this Best Western offered the best value for the $$ we've had. The breakfast is a hot meal, made to order from a (somewhat limited) menu, which was a nice change from most free breakfasts where it's buffet-style. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff seemed welcoming and available to help.

We moved to Arizona in June 2017 and had the great luck of moving during one of the hottest Junes Green Valley has ever had. Our original plan was to stay in our motor home, but our poor generator just couldn't keep up with the heat. So, we packed up our essentials and our 2 little dogs and headed for the Best Western Green Valley Inn. We explained we weren't sure how long our stay would be since we didn't have an exact date for the closing on our house. Ashley at the front desk was extremely helpful and worked everything out for us. She was very pleasant (as were all the front desk employees). Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient to everything in Green Valley. A full made-to-order breakfast is included with the stay and it was very good each day we were there. Highly recommend!

Needs updating, needs more lighting in dark parking areas, restaurant always way understaffed. Comfy environment but dated. Very nice & helpful staff! Greeting with water upon arrival was nice, daily would be even better when its 104 out!

We booked this hotel During our road trip to CA, very clean, nice bed, staff was friendly. I booked via mobile and forgot to add one more person, so we missed one breakfast coupon , the front lady talked to the manager and she gave us one. Will definitely come back next year.

We stayed for four nights visiting family in the area and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and breakfast in the restaurant was very good. We will definitely stay again when we are back to visit.

The room and staff was excellent and we had no problems. Best part of the stay at this Hotel is the Breakfast that is included and the bar in the hotel. We have stayed here the last 4 years for our trips to visit family and have had the same type of experience two or three times a year. Other family members have stayed when they have visited also the last 3 years

We enjoyed staying at this Best Western. It has easy access to I 19 but is away from busy traffic and close to a diner with delicious food. This motel is clean and the room is comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Best Western style seems to be brown and cream. It needs brightening up. There is a restaurant with a limited choice at breakfast(included), which is served, no self service, so the server undiplomatically said a tip was expected! Restaurant is dull and poorly lit and dinner far from ideal. Rooms OK but glad it was only for one night

We're travelling thru & didnt read all the reviews, our bad. Check their website FIRST for rates, much cheaper than when you try to register, BUT they'll give you the lower price. $72/king. It's a family "golfers" motel with OK bar/restaurant, but sort of a dark, worn out motel. Our clean "hot" room, overlooked noisy pool with kids still yelling at top of lungs at 9:30pm. We think room may be haunted: weird TV turns on/off sporatically; bedside lamp shade suddenly leans as if something pushed it; toilet flushes by itself; ac works marginally and all of a sudden turns on/off with loud "clunks". Nope, we won't be back.

We LOVE Best Western, and we enjoyed the service at the room we had in Green Valley. Our only real disappointment was having an AC unit that worked fine, but made an incredibly alarming noise every time it cycled off. Other than that, we were told a non-smoking hotel, but our room still had that old smoking odor. It was not that bad, but could have been a bit better.

We always stay @ Best Western Green Valley AZ when we visit family there. good beds, clean & comfortable rooms and a good hot cooked to order breakfast too! We love the pool area especially to sit around at night and enjoy.

We , my wife and I, stayed here as part of a quick overnight trip to Tubac and vicinity. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around Green Valley. It's also near the Interstate making it convenient for exploring Southern Arizona. The girl at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Our room was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a hot breakfast, which was included in the room price, in the on site restaurant and it was all you needed to give you a good start for a day of hiking. We will come back.

Rooms were excellent value with comfortable beds. Front desk friendly, quick and helpful. Breakfast, was included in our rate. The quality and service not very good. Seem short staff. Oatmeal I had was not very hot. Pancakes were stiff.

Great place but, towels are small, old and dingy looking. Using a hand towel on your face can prove to give you a rash as they are hard and feel like sandpaper. They also need to switch to body wash instead of supplying a soap bar which dries out the skin. Breakfast is okay being it's free to guests, but I would prefer to eat elsewhere. The eggs were cold and their beans tasted old. Yuck. Other then the above the staff is really great. The pool area is fun and the bar is great. Rooms are clean.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Really know what customer service is all about. Will definitely stay here again. We were late for breakfast because we went wi the information in the room. The hostess in the restaurant still served us breakfast and was very nice and quick about it.

Traveling from Sedona Az to Las Cruces NM. Visited Tubac AZ. BW was conveniently, highly recommended and a perfect location. Clean, friendly, welcomed our pup, and we're extremely professional and courteous.

Good hotel and an easy drive to Madre Canyon. A bit dated, but nothing bad and the hotel and it's staff were great. I did a search before our trip and did not find this hotel and glad our GPS did as we were driving for Tucson.

Good spot if you're birding Southern Arizona. Clean, well maintained property, courteous, efficient staff. You order breakfast off of a menu in the restaurant (the 19th Hole). You get a good choice of 3 items included in your breakfast with coffee and juice. You can add extras for 2$ per item. You won't need to add though the breakfast was large and well prepared. Pool and hot tub in the central courtyard, workout room, and washer /dryers are available. The restaurant is open 7 days a week.

This one of the more expensive BW hotels in the area. Having stayed at the BW-Tucson International Airport Hotel and Suites, this BW hotel - Green Valley, and now the BW-Sonora Inn and Suites - Nogales, in the same week, I can say that this hotel, although OK is over priced and not as well appointed as it's nearest competitors. Further, from the reviews I read below this not the same place I stayed at. Specifically, our room and bathroom was in need of updating. The towels were also old and thin, they are in need of replacing. We appreciated the laundry facilities, which worked well. As for breakfast, it was an embarrassing experience. Specifically, we ordered a wheat bagel and since they had run out of wheat they substituted, without telling us, a half blueberry and half cinnamon and raisin. The morning before we ordered two different breakfasts and the waitress delivered two of what my wife had ordered. I guess I really didn't need the bacon. I know this is not the hotel's property but that is where we were sent for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western in Green Valley for 6 nights. We were vacationing and visiting family. I have never stayed in a hotel for longer than 2 nights in a row. This property is pleasant and while the bathroom could use some updating, we were comfortable. The staff was outstanding. Breakfast was terrific. The property is clean. It has a nice pool and jacuzzi area. Also has a small gym. This hotel is close to everything.

This is a comfortable, reasonable and fun place to stay. The pool courtyard has swaying palms and a nice pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dining room is excellent with a friendly bar service.

The BW in Green Valley is a good value if you want to be away from the busy-ness of the city and also stay in a clean, professional hotel. The rooms are clean and simple, just fine if you plan to spend most of your time in the outdoors. The property is quiet yet accessible to the interstate. Several decent restaurants are within walking distance. (Note to travelers who expect great coffee: you won't find it here, or anywhere in GV.) The BW Green Valley Inn is a good base from which to explore the sourthern region.

We stayed here for a week with our grandsons. The room was very clean as well as the entire hotel and grounds. Pool could be a little warmer but the hot tub was perfect. If you want to sleep in and you hang the privacy tag on the door the maid leaves a card for you to notify the desk if you want service before 1:00. This worked great for us and the maids were always cheerful and happy to help us. All the staff was wonderful, each person on the staff speaks when they see you. Several times we had questions and asked the desk person. Kimberly is the person we talked to most often. From pool towels to dinner suggestions she was a great help. Having just come from a family funeral Kimberly showed such empathy. She shared she had recently had a young friend die. Having that connection meant so much to us. When you are about to pull your hair out trying to get a child's iPad hooked to the internet and someone figures it out for you that's service. The staff in the restaurant was great. Breakfast was no problem you pick up a pass at the desk and it's cooked to order. You have quite a few choices. We didn't go hungry. We ate lunch at the restaurant twice during our stay. Lunch menu was great. Burgers were amazing. Now dinner is another story, the food was wonderful. Our grandson is autistic and decided for dinner he wanted Frosted Flakes cereal. The staff was so good and they let him order his Frosted Flakes, I had them bring them as soon as they could and I took my dinner that night to eat in the room. Which is another great option when it's time for the kids to get ready to settle down for bed. I also have to say we stayed right across from the elevator and never heard a thing. Thank you for offering such a great place to stay. We will repeat customers.

I was sort of torn on whether to give 3 stars or 4 stars, but the pluses outweighed the negatives. Some positive things.. Location - Convenient to where I needed to be to visit my relatives. Good central location. A Walgreens is within walking distance if you need to pick anything up. Breakfast - included with my stay was breakfast. I was quite surprised that this wasn't a typical hotel buffet breakfast. In the morning we had to stop by the front desk for coupons for breakfast at the attached 19th Hole. In the restaurant you're given a menu where you can have coffee/tea/soda and juice, and then your choice of 3 items: 2 Eggs, Omelet, Bacon, Sausage, Ham, Toast, Cereal, Breakfast Pastries, Bagel, Fresh fruit, whole fruit, etc. besides the convenience of having it cooked to order, it was quite good too!. If you're not a guest of the hotel the same breakfast option is available for $5.99 without the beverages. Rooms-Comfortable and spacious. Ours was poolside, and also had a mini fridge and microwave. Housekeeping- they were great. Never needed to ask for more towels, or to have room serviced. The one morning, we were running late so left the Do Not Disturb sign on the door when we went to breakfast. When we got back, there was a note in the key slot to notify the front desk prior to 1pm and they'll be happy to stop by and service the room or visit the front desk after 1pm and we can pick up sheets/towels. Some Negative Things.. A tad outdated- the room was not that up to date. Most hotels nowadays have a lamp with outlet convenient for recharging. The outlet by the lamp between the beds was occupied with the clock and the lamp. The next closest was the outlet by the sliding door near the desk, or on the other side of the bed near the wall. Just not ideal. A simple swap out of that one lamp between the beds would solve this issue. Bathroom-the tub was slow to drain, and the towels were very skimpy. Safe-unless I missed it for the 3-day stay, I didn't see an I room safe.

I recently stayed for 5 nights at the Best Western Green Valley and was very satisfied. Everyone who works there, from the front desk staff to the bar/restaurant employees, to the housekeepers, went out of their way to make sure everything about our stay was great. The rooms are clean and functional. The pool and spa are both very nice. The complimentary breakfast goes far beyond the sad croissant/fruit disaply you see at a lot of places - it includes a variety of foods like eggs cooked to order, potatoes, and the like, and was delicious. Best of all, the price was comparable to other area hotels that are not as nice. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Clean, quiet room with plenty of room. The recently installed elevator to the second floor has been a very welcome addition. The staff are friendly, and the included hot breakfast is wonderful. I stay in Green Valley quite often when visiting my father, and, for me, the Best Western is the the best choice for high quality at a reasonable price.

This is a convenient motel for touring around the Green Valley and Madera Canyon Recreation areas. We stayed in a first floor room and it is highly recommended that you check your room our for the noise factor of your, in the wall, air conditioner unit. Ours was rather, which may be expected for an older property as this one is. The in-house restaurant is very good and a real plus for convenience and breakfasts are served here too.

Our room was very standard for Best Western. A cleaning smell when we first arrived but that dissipated very shortly. The surroundings were very quiet. The bed and the pillows were quite comfortable. The cooked to order complimentary breakfast was basic but very good. Service staff at the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and helpful.

This Best Western is located in a quiet area, with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and is positioned for visiting lots of fun places including Tubac, Arizona wine country, and Madera Canyon. The friendly staff really added to making for a good stay. The hotel seems older, but the rooms are a good size with a fridge and microwave, and the property was comfortable and clean. Although we expected the regular Best Western buffet breakfast, the breakfast was available in the hotel's restaurant with a special menu offered to hotel guests. When I said that I missed the bustle of the Best Western breakfast buffet, my husband disagreed and said that he was enjoying the quiet restaurant and being served.

Clean rooms, quick check in and out. Free breakfast was below average, made to order, but not very good. OJ was some kind of wierd sweet drink, "omelette" was greasy with a wedge of velveeta. Bartender had a camo baseball hat and T shirt and was telling stories about his girlfriend's misadventures... not professional.

Hotels in Tucson where we usually stay were all overpriced and solidly booked because of the AZ - USC football game. Exploring further we discovered the Best Western in Green Valley. While getting to our meeting in Tucson took a bit longer on Saturday morning, our stay was very pleasant. The on-site restaurant, 19th Green, was a lovely surprise for dinner Friday night, and the provision of coupons for an actual breakfast there (rather than the usual rubbery eggs and sad fruit buffet offerings at most places) was a treat. We would definitely select this hotel for the next meeting occasion.

Checked in a little after 6 and was greeted by Kimberley at the Front Desk. She was very welcoming and upgraded our room upon request (BW members). This was our first night on a 7 night trip across the SW and this was much appreciated after a long day of flying. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub both in the evening under clear skies and warm breezes. The property is immaculately clean and all staff were very helpful if called upon. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was sit down, served, by Fernando, in a nice restaurant setting. The food was good, coffee was hot and fresh and Fernando was a great source of local information. We were craving Mexican, and Kimberly sent us to El Rodeo just down the street. Our trip is almost over and we've found no Mexican food in our travels that compares to what we had that night The margaritas were terrific, the found fresh, and we enjoyed hearing the chefs singing in the kitchen. Locals were packing the place. BW remains great value for our dollar and we look forward to visiting Green Valley again. And.....after much searching for a styrofoam cooler at every store we could think of, we mentioned it to Kimberly, who had one in the back another guest had left. She freely and gladly gave it to us and it stood the test for the week. Thank you Kimberly and Fernando for making a big difference to the start of our week.

This hotel is clean, quiet and safe. The staff are friendly and courteous - ALL the staff. The breakfast is made to order: not buffet style you see in most hotels. The rooms are spacious and very quiet; the TV actually has a channel guide: something missing in 99% of the places i have stayed this year. There is also a good hair driver, shampoo, conditioner etc. A sign in the bathroom says to ask the front desk if you forgot to bring something such as toothpaste. I will definitely stay here again and will highly recommend it. Great value for less than $100 per night!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. It had been a long time since I have stayed at a Best Western and I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, the staff were great and they had a really nice restaurant/bar. The complimentary breakfast had to be the best I have had at any other hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting the Tucson/Sahuarita/Green Valley area.

We travel through this area often and now we know where we will be staying from here on out. Super pleased with everything. Great night's sleep on comfy bed and pillows. A/C worked flawlessly, room very tidy. I wish we had been given password for internet upon check-in, that would have been nice.

Needed a dog friendly hotel close to Saguaro National Park and this Best Western fit the bill. Clean and comfortable for the most part; the pool was a bit chilly and had quite a few bugs in it in the evening, but not horrible.

This was the second visit to this hotel, and once again, I found the staff warm friendly and extremely helpful.It's good having a large restaurant on the premises as there are few nearby. I will be staying here again.

I stayed here for seven days. Check in and out was easy. My room was a little small, but fairly clean and modern. Pool was nice. Fitness room had three pieces of exercise equipment. The free breakfast in the attached restaurant was a nice feature. I was on the first floor and my room was quiet with the exception of a car alarm that went off in the middle of the night. Only negatives things were a broken shower handle, that was fixed, and a broken hair dryer that was never fixed. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Overall, not bad for the price. I had a 30% discount coupon which helped.

This hotel always has friendly people. The hotel has been updated and is nice for the area. Restaurant service for breakfast is always hit or miss. It is never properly staffed. The restaurant is owned separately from the hotel, but is a reflection on the hotel itself. There are times you might wait 5-10 minutes just to be greeted and served coffee. If you want a hotel where you can get your breakfast in a timely manner, stay elsewhere.

We just returned from a one week stay at the Best Western,Green Valley. This place rocks. The staff, housekeeping, waiters/waitresses go above and beyond when it comes to friendliness and customer service. We were lucky enough to run into the hotel manager, Kelly, and he was totally awesome. I had a very minor issue with the lights in our bathroom and he assured us he would get maintenance to take a look at it. Within a half an hour, he tracked us down in the restaurant to tell us that maintenance had checked out the problem. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was teriffic. We ate there for dinner on two occasions, and food was excellent. The rooms were exceptionally clean. If you are going to be in the Green Valley area, I would definitely recommend this property.

I travel to SE Arizona nearly every year for birding, sometimes with tours, sometimes with friends. But when in Green Valley, I always check in at the Best Western. Besides Green Valley being a good location for branching out to bird a number of nearby locations, birders receive a very welcoming discount upon registration! Breakfasts are very good where one can simply order off the menu. Clean, comfortable, nice amenities await you. I will be back next year to Green Valley's Best Western!

Perfect...I am a travel agent and travel frequently. This hotel is clean, friendly and well cared for. The complimentary breakfast was an added value! The hot tub was heated and situated by the outdoor pool. Both have wheelchair assist. We asked that our room be pool access and it was...just steps to the gate.

When visiting family in this area, this location meets all our needs. Restaurant and lounge are an added bonus. Would definitely be back the next time we visit. The staff has always been very courteous and helpful to us.

It was a vert excellent hotel experience, For a minimum fee, they accepted my cats. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful in every way. The breakfasts were very good, as were the lunches. The staff was very helpful and helped me find my way around Green Valley.

My wife and I are looking for homes in the area and stayed at this hotel. It is convenient to the Interstate and only a 20 minute drive to the airport in Tucson which was a plus for us. We had a King room on the back side for 2 nights and have no complaints. The room was nice, clean and suited us quite well. Only clink was the bathroom door didn't close entirely but a minor fix. The restaurant on premises is called "The 19th Hole" and also serves as the breakfast location. Before breakfast get a voucher to use and you pick 3 items from a list of different breakfast items. It was plenty for us but if you need a lot then you can buy your own. The food was good at breakfast and supper. All in all, a very good, quiet and affordable place to stay if you are in the area.

Even by the standards of "not much else to chose from," this was a poor choice. The room was dark and dingy with extremely tired furnishings. The same could be said for the bathroom. It was small, with very undersized towels and plastic cups. We couldn't wait to check out and head for our next destination.

Very nice room and great bed. Had big TV, wifi, and coffee available 24/7. Good breakfast and shower was awesome. No bad remarks at all. Highly recommended!!!! Very quaint town and quiet at night. Very friendly staff. Definitely will stay again

Needed a place to stay while having house floors done. They were great. Coffee bar all day. Clean hotel. Dog friendly.Location is right of freeway. Restaurant at hotel. Full service with bar. About a 30 minute ride into Tucson.

Didn't care for their limited breakfast voucher program where wait staff was involved (ate in the property restaurant) requiring a tip. Outside of property and pool area is updated. Rooms need to be renovated.

Stayed here twice in April, both overnight stays. First room was on the east side, which overlooked the back of the mall parking lot and was very quiet. The second stay we were assigned a room on the north side overlooking the staff entrance of the restaurant, which we quickly found annoying as staff would spend their breaks smoking and/or talking on their cell phones. We weren't sure if it would continue throughout the evening and since the room had an odor of stale Chinese food, we requested a different room and were graciously assigned one again on the east side which was much better. One stay we had a king bed and the other two queen beds, and both were very comfortable and clean. King room had an easy chair but can't remember if the 2 bed room did. The windows opened which is always a plus (at night we noticed a little freeway noise but it wasn't obvious during the day), but like many hotel/motels nowadays, the exterior wall air conditioner/heater was a little noisy so sleeping with it on could be a problem. Like a few other BWs we've stayed at, bathroom tended towards the small side but the shower was strong and the toiletries were nice. Wifi was also good and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. A hot breakfast was served in the restaurant and was very good and service was excellent (we did go early, though). Staff were always gracious and welcoming. The room rate was excellent for a Best Western and if we were to ever visit Green Valley, we would select this over the Comfort Inn which is a little too close to the freeway. We did have to use our GPS to locate as the BW sign can't be seen from the freeway and getting to it was a little convoluted (required doing a U-turn a block up the street).

I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotel properties, including Best Western. This is one of their finest properties. I recommend highly and will stay here again. The staff was friendly and professional and very helpful.

Exceptional attention to detail every day, all day...housekeeping so clean and thoughtful, everything in the hotel worked perfectly, super clean throughout the entire hotel, quiet, everything one could ask for, was FOR REAL. This is a conflicted review. My husband, two children, and myself came to visit my grandparents. After a crazy delayed flight experience, we found ourselves arriving to Green Valley several hours later than planned cutting into the precious time with aging family. Upon arrival, there was no staff at the Best Western. As in, zero. We rang the bell on the front desk several times. I even tried calling their phone number and could see the front desk phone sit there and ring. We pondered whether we should leave and find another hotel. My husband ended up going to the adjoining restaurant/bar asking their staff for assistance. The bar manager was very helpful and tried calling the hotel manager with no response. After trying to check us in herself, she found where the missing hotel desk manager had preprogrammed our room keys and allowed us to check-in. In Best Western's defense, the manager was extremely apologetic the following day and comp'ed us the first night's stay. The room itself was adequate size with 2 queen beds, wifi, and free breakfast at the adjoining restaurant. The room is clean, but definitely worn. The breakfast has to be ordered from an ala cart menu and is a little slow to arrive. But the food was enough and decent quality. For the cost and the location, the Best Western is still an adequate place to stay and we would consider it again.

My wife and I were here for four nights and the facilities were very good. The included breakfast was well cooked to order, from a modified menu of the regular menu which you could also order from. Get a room facing the pool. The room could have used two comfortable chairs to instead of perching one of us on the bed to watch the tv.

The place was clean, the food was great and I had a quiet room as requested. It was a easy drive from the Tucson airport. I came to pray at a funeral, and the motel is close to the church and cemetery Thank you.

Stay was great, just waiting for a table at breakfast, the restaurant was kind of unstable as to the seating of the guests waiting for a seat, also no ID was asked for to show I staid at the Best Western

hotel was very good to excellent except for the free made to order breakfast. was cool to cold. make sure it comes to your table at least very warm to hot. excellent location to see most of the sights around Tucson. out of the hussle and bustle of the city but close to everything.

This is a really good BW hotel. All the staff were extremely friendly and seemed genuinely keen to make the stay enjoyable. Partook of an early morning swim in the pool which was, to say the least 'refreshing', but the rooms were comfortable and the cooked to order breakfast was better than most BW hotels I've stayed at. Would have happily have stayed longer but the intention was for the hotel to be a one night crash-pad after the trip from London to Phoenix. Hit the mark on all accounts.

This Best Western is the best place I've found in Green valley. It has a restaurant attached to it so it've very easy to stay here. Some issues with bathroom repairs but these are minor. I've stayed here two or three times now, and would return.

Staff was very courteous and friendly. The in house restaurant food was fair, palatable. The relationship of the elevator to the parking spot to the room was not the greatest but at least there was an elevator which I was thankful for since I was driving all day and did not want to hoist my luggage up a flight of stairs.

We were trying to stay at the Tubac Golf Resort but they were sold out. Per Trip Advisor this seemed to be the next best option. We were very pleased with our room. The bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary sit down and order off the menu breakfast. Other reviews made the breakfast seem poorly done, but we had no problems getting served in a timely manner and the food was as good as any other breakfast restaurant. For the money, I thought this hotel offered great value.

This place is warm, friendly and great value for money. The area around the pool courtyard is inviting and well sheltered from the roads. A little oasis in the desert! Food is good in the 19th Hole and the staff helpful. We've been here 3 times and it's never disappointed. The area is genteel but had some good eateries very nearby.

This motel was very clean and comfortable. We especially liked the bed. The motel has all the amenities you might want. The location is superb, with many activities within easy distance. We would highly recommend this motel.

In general a satisfactory hotel - slightly impersonal because of its size but all staff were friendly. Good pool and jacuzzi- fitness room looked good though we did not use on this occasion.The evening meal in the restaurant was good - the breakfast included in the room rate was indifferent.

This is a wonderful place to stay with clean well kept rooms and it is quiet too. They have a nice pool with a spa. The breakfast is served free in there restaurant. The staff was cheerful and always willing to help with any request.

This is a very nice place to stay. They have the best breakfast ever. The restaurant and bar are right in the hotel, so you don't have to leave the hotel. I stay here every time I come to Green Valley.

The room was comfortable. We loved the pool and hot tub. Ate at the restaurant for dinner and got the free breakfast. People, the free breakfast was an order-off-the-menu breakfast, not a nasty hot bar. That alone will bring me back. You do have to choose from a special part of the menu for the breakfast, but the had a fantastic selection, wasn't cheapo.

Very nice room, great beds and wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Only thing I had to complain about was the water in the tub. Hot and cold were reversed and never had really hot water to shower with. Always just warm enough not to be cold. Stayed 5 nights, showered different times of the day and was always just warn enough. Complained twice but never had good results.

And this one is another good BW, with great food too! Only sad thing is that we drove here for a memorial and a wake, not a happy event. Having a good BW in this city was very convenient for us, and this is a very pretty town/city.

Hotel and staff are excellent. The best thing about the free breakfast is that it is free. Waited 45 minutes the first morning and left to eat elsewhere the second as the line was long and there are few wait staff. Food not worth waiting for.

We travel thru Green Valley each year. Our 1st visit to this property but will look no more in the future. The entire staff from registration to housekeeping were simply amazing. The restaurant/ sports bar was just what the doctor ordered after a long day of travel. Easy to find between I-10 and I-19 is very appealing. Breakfast was amazing! We look forward to our next visit. Kudos to all!

Our stay was ok, but my complains was not taken care. The rooms that was assigned to us, was ok. Bathroom was also clean. The pillows was not enough and it's too soft. Was not given a receipt when we check-out. How do we know how much we are supposed to pay? I was told, it will come through the mail..

Free breakfast and friendly staff. Hot tub and pool. Elevator to second floor. Sometimes there was entertainment in the lounge/bar - fun. I cannot think of anything else to say. How many more characters do I need to get off this screen?

The hotel is very clean and quiet. It is an older hotel, but has been updated. The decor is very nice, with a warm, welcoming affect. The problem was the dining room. The hotel offers a free made to order breakfast. The problem was - we couldn't get in. There were tables available. But the kitchen was behind. If we had stayed, it would have been a fifteen minute wait. This in my opinion is poor management. Would it not be advisable to have enough kitchen staff to accommodate the number of guests in the hotel??????

With my military discount, this was the most affordable hotel in the Green Valley area. There was nothing really special about this hotel, but the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was very small, but made my daughter happy. My two favorite things about this hotel were the free coffee and tea bar and the free breakfast. Although the breakfast wasn't anything special, just basic fare, it was a big step up from the usual continental breakfast that is free at other hotels. The breakfast was made to order. We each got to pick three individual items from the menu (such as pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, etc.) and a beverage. Since the breakfast is made to order, make sure to give yourself plenty of time, unlike a buffet or continental breakfast, you can't just grab and go. This is not a fancy hotel but it is very affordable and I felt that I got my money worth. It was also convenient to be right across the street from Walgreens. Having a restaurant in the hotel is always a plus too.

Great location just off the highway in a quiet, residential area. Rooms are well appointed, clean & well maintained. Hotel & restaurant staff are friendly, helpful & efficient. Nice bar/restaurant & a nice pool area. Hot breakfast included with the room charge.

We stayed for 1 month and was pleased with the Best Western. Great location with many golf courses, 2 casinos, and many attractions. Our rate included a good breakfast with a variety of items. The 19th Hole restaurant is attached to the hotel and has really good food. The housekeeping staff went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Our only problem was incorrect billing. The pet charge is only for the first week, and we were being billed for entire month. This had to be corrected twice. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

The Best Western was a life saver for us. Originally, we booked at the Comfort Inn which was horrible. We were able to get in at the Best Western and our stay was fantastic! The pool, jacuzzi, workout room and 19th Hole restaurant was Great! We had made to order breakfast that was wonderful! The breakfast was served from 6 am to 11am. The staff was very nice and friendly! They had a convenient coffee station that made fresh coffee everytime! We will definitely book here again!

Room was noisy and the rate on a Sunday was high at $121 with tax for this hotel. Further, I left one bag on the bed as I went to the Ace hardware next to the hotel. When I returned a check had been stolen from my bag. I had come up from Mexico to cash the check on an American bank. Ruined my whole trip.

Really one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. We usually try to stay in clean inexpensive hotels that accept our very old dog. This was way above the former and they treated us with our dog very well. We enjoyed, for us, the extra luxury and loved this hotel. It is in a quiet place and most hotels we stay at when we travel are just off the highway and I am always looking for a hotel in a quiet place. All eating establishments are near by. Really like this hotel.

We came to green valley to visit friends. We stayed for five nights and would come back from a long day of sightseeing. The restaurant has very good food. Breakfast is too small. Hotel could use new mattresses along with better towels.

This stay was our 4th. My 92 year old mother enjoys the convenience, comfort, and reading by the pool. the staff is warm. the rooms are comfy. The breakfast, while included, could be better. The location is in the midst of a nice sample of stores.

This is a great hotel for your basic needs. Clean, quiet, well maintained. It has the basics plus a nice but small pool and jacuzzie and an exercise room. Internet service on the first floor is good. On the higher floors in the past it's been less than optimal.

All in all my husband and I were very pleased with Best Western Green Valley Inn. Across the street was a Walgreen's and several restaurants, also the Wednesday morning Farmer's / Craft Market, which is worth a visit. The front desk, staff and maid service were very friendly and polite. The room and bed were quite comfortable. WiFi was good. The microwave and fridge were appreciated. We enjoyed the pool the first day, but didn't use it subsequent days because of the chlorine (no worse than other pools). The railing to the hot tub and pool was unstable, take care. Also the steps were not well-painted, easy to trip. The pool area was a pleasant place to sit. The other guests were very friendly. Green Valley, being a haven for the retirement crowd, we were not annoyed by screaming children at the pool. The breakfast was very good (except for the canned fruit cocktail). The downside was having to wait for service, as opposed to buffet. The freshness was worth it if you don't mind the wait. Always being in a hurry I was sorry there wasn't room service or the ability to order by phone and run down to pick it up to be eaten in room or poolside. Plenty of free parking. Be advised the rooms are built around the pool in a large rectangle. Our room, #251, faced the back parking lot and was a long walk from the lobby. Although we had a somewhat nice view of the mountains, we were awoken Thursday morning at 5:30 by a garbage truck that was loud enough to wake the dead. In spite of these minor complaints we enjoyed our visit and would stay again.

This hotel is conveniently located. It is clean, the service is good and food is excellent at restaurant. Needs a little facelift of halls and rooms, but not bad. Only thing is restaurant/lounge is very ugly, little run down and dark. The food is very good though, so unfortunate that atmosphere doesn't match.

I accidentally made the reservation for the wrong date. Neither TripAdvisor nor Best Western would work with me to change to the correct date. We have stayed here before. Yes it was my mistake but disappointed we spent money and didn't stay there.

A very good hotel overall; nice, well-appointed quiet room. Most of the staff were very attentive and often went beyond expectations to help. Nice surrounds and ample free parking. Complimentary breakfast was taken in the attached restaurant which is run as a separate business; I got the impression that we complimentary breakfasters were not considered highly by the restaurant staff. Some of the restaurant staff were professional and friendly, others seemed to hate their job and treat the customer with scarcely concealed contempt.

We stayed at Best Western with our pets, two pretty good size dogs. It worked out very well. The room we were assigned was very convenient for our needs. We were on the ground floor and close to an outside exit. Our room was spacious, clean and pleasant. As a bonus our free breakfast was an actual restaurant meal. My husband hates continental breakfast. On the down side, the extra charge ($20 per pet per night) for our pets seemed to be a little high.

Rooms are very good, dinner available in bar and grill. Wonderful meal and service. Excellent breakfast and service. Very good base for visiting Tubac and all the sights of southwest Arizona. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here recently for 2 nights while visiting family. What a little gem! We left another highly rated Inn in Green Valley because of terrible beds and isolated location. This Best Western is near restaurants, shopping and the highway in Green Valley. The staff was super helpful, 24 hour brewed coffee and the pool is wonderful (but a bit cold during our stay in February). The Pub - 19th Hole - is a very nice addition as well. Our rate included a hot breakfast each morning too. Overall a great experience, clean & quiet. We willl be back!

We have not actually stayed at the hotel because we rented a house for 3 mthonths but we have certainly enjoyed our time at the 19th Hole Bar & Grill. The food is good, we got to know the bartenders (Amber, Shay & Alex) as well as Greg & Amy who also own the Twist & Shout restaurant. We will definitely frequent this place. Love it.!!!

Stayed two nights while visiting the Pima Air and Space Museum and Titan II Museum. Quiet and clean rooms. Plenty of parking. At check-in, the front desk was not staffed for 15+ minutes, but I'm sure that was an aberration. Dinner in hotel restaurant was very good: excellent friendly service, plentiful portions, tasty and food/drinks were reasonably priced. Service at Breakfast in the morning at the same restaurant was not as good. Indifferent staff and slow service. Breakfast food just okay. Would stay again.

Totally pleased with quality and friendly nature of bldg, grounds and staff. Rewards program is not competitive with Choice hotels but location, staff , service and bldg made up for it. Desk clerk and restaurant waiter were exceptional. Beds were perfect. Coffee near lobby was top rate.

My husband and I went to Tucson, AZ for the big Gem Show that takes place every year there. We decided to stay at Best Western Green Valley Inn, about 20 minutes away from the Convention Center in Tucson. We were given a wonderful room with king-size bed. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in it. Coffee,with all those great International Delight creamers, tea and hot chocolate are served in the lobby 24 hours! We also received bottled water from the desk, free of charge. And the breakfast, which came with the room, was excellent! It was a made-to-order breakfast served in the restaurant inside the hotel. You could order pancakes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, ham, bacon--you name it, you got it! We stayed on the second level, and in the hallway was a little area where you could just sit and lounge, reading a book or checking email. WiFi was part of the room package, free of charge. My husband and I had a great stay. And let me not forget to mention the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to make you feel comfortable almost in a home away from home. If I return to the gem show next year I will certainly stay at the Best Western Green Valley Inn, that is if I can get a room there! It's one of the best places to stay in the Tucson area. And the location is exceptional! Very safe, and not far from shopping, restaurants, and a really great Safeway store that has a great selection of wines and beers.

We stay here every time we go to Tucson on business, or to Tubac for pleasure. Good location for both. Very good hotel. Only complaint is that the complimentary breakfast is not as good as it once was. But it's free, so why complain?

We choose this hotel because of the location. Have stayed at many BW properties in the past year. This one was OK, but disappointing. Room was clean, well decorated, but small. Not a particularly good value. They were busy, but not full. Our room assignment was a problem - next to the guest laundry. After talking with 3 different employees about our concern about the noise from the laundry with no offers to resolve. Around 10 PM, I finally INSISTED that the desk clerk put up a sign ("post it note) that asked guests not to do laundry after 11 PM at night. Probably won't be back, but would definitely ask for different room (i.e. not 123)

Taking a risk in a last minute phone call for availability, we found a gem. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location being outside the hustle and bustle of Tucson, but still close enough to hit the Gem Show. We hope to be back again!!

We always check reviews before we go to places that we are not familiar with. This was one of them. When we checked in for the afternoon the front desk was very professional. I loved the look of the hotel and how clean it was. I didn't know that the hotel had an elevator so I was okay to take the stairs to my roon. I didn't like my room because being as asthmatic and having children with severe allergies I could tell my room been smoked in. The ordor...uhhg If you are stopping to sleep for the night it is great. One very big plus is the dining area. I loved loved loved the breakfast. You have to go to the front desk to get the vouchers. I don't understand why she didn't give it to us until we checked in. Now with the dining area I think there needs to be more organization. We waited a while along with others but it was worth it we we sat down to eat our breakfast. It is a great hotel if you need a place to stay check them out.

Our week stay at this property was perfect as a base for my husband's hunting trip to the region. The made to order breakfast that was included in the room charge was so delightful as compared to the usual buffet at similar chains. The waitstaff was super friendly and accommodating! The front desk staff also receives praise!

Room was spotless and ready when we arrived. Convenient to the highway, but very quiet. Hotel staff was helpful & friendly and you get a voucher for a real cooked to order breakfast (not one of those powdered egg buffets!) Bed was comfy, linens appeared brand new. Could not have asked for more!!!

An older hotel that has been kept in great shape and has an attached full service restaurant offering a great breakfast, lunch dinner menu and bar. Hotel patrons get free breakfast. Keep in mind this is a sit down restaurant so service can be fast or slow depending on how busy they are and what you ordered. Lots of locals eat here too if that means anything.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during the gem show in Tucson. It's only 20 or 25 minutes away from Tucson gem show locations. I was surprised how clean and huge this Inn is. The entire Inn including the rooms is large and specious. The Stuff was all nice and friendly. There's a restaurant attached to the hotel and the guests can eat the breakfast for free. It's unlike the majority of the hotels which offer continental breakfast; Green Valley Inn offers hot, real breakfast at each table just like the American diners type of restaurant. You get to choose 3 choices from the list and comes with a drink of your choice. There's a coffee & Tea counter near the lobby and you get to drink hot coffee & variety of teas 24 hours every day. I took full advantage of that. :) There's a heated swimming pool & a Jacuzzi in the center of the building outside. You can use the pool until 11pm. Fitness room was also on site. Nice seating areas/sofas throughout the Inn in the hallway and it was really inviting atmosphere. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the frustration we got in the morning for our breakfast hour. The restaurant was very disorganized especially in the busy mornings. People are in line outside of the restaurant waiting to be seated. I saw many empty tables but there was not enough stuff available and they just couldn't catch up with clearing the table, bringing the food, and paying attention to the customers waiting. After being seated, we had to wait more than 30 minutes to be served the breakfast. The toasts were cold like hard rocks and the tomato slices and omelets were dry as if our breakfast plates were ready 30 minutes ago but nobody couldn't just bring them to our table. I saw some people got tired of waiting in line and left the restaurant with angry faces. Who has 30 minutes or 45 minutes of time to wait and eat breakfast in the morning? It should be quick and easy serving and customers should be able to get the breakfast within a short period of time and go about their businesses. I didn't eat anything there for lunch or dinner so I can't comment on the quality of the food for lunch or dinner. They have live bands on the weekend and I saw people were dancing in front of the band playing. The bar opens until midnight. Seemed like fun to be there at night considering the city is so secluded and nothing is available to enjoy night life in Green Valley. The breakfast was just average. It tastes just like the same as the other hotels with breakfast buffet. If they can't hire enough people to organize the restaurant better, I believe they should just switch to "serve yourself buffet style" restaurant in the morning. If they correct this restaurant issue, this hotel will well deserve the 5 stars. Overall, I will definitely use this hotel again.

The room was large, the bed super comfortable, the staff friendly and extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant food was very good. Excellent value at a very reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in the area again.

Good hotel in a good location to use as a base for sightseeing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the design of the hotel - a square building framing an open courtyard with pool and hot tub. Nicely landscaped instead of typical fenced-in concrete pool. Great place to relax and soak up the sun even in the cooler winter days. On site restaurant had good food and is pretty popular with people in the area. Hotel gives vouchers for cooked to order breakfast at the restaurant (The 19th Hole) instead of the typical buffet offered in most places. Room bathroom has been upgraded with better lighting, one of my major complaints about hotel bathrooms! I was there to visit family and site see, but my husband had health issues and we had to cut our stay short by 8 days. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit the Tucson / Green Valley area. It only about 20 minutes from the airport. I would have liked to have two club chairs in the room, instead of one, for watching TV, but that is a very minor complaint.

Absolutely the best of Best Westerns on our trip so far. The 19th Hole restaurant had a great staff. The bar had good drinks and again the staff very accommodating. In the downside the wifi was quite slow. We'd stay here again if traveling to Arizona.

We were headed to Mexico so this was a very convenient stop prior to Crossing the border. Very clean, and comfortable night sleep after a long drive. Pet friendly hotel. Staff was very nice and supplied us with extra blankets when we requested them. We would definitely make this a regular stop.

Our group of 12 just spent 5 nights at this hotel for my daughter's wedding in Green Valley. We were very pleased with our experience. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. We hosted a dinner for 24 in the attached restaurant on short notice and it was all handled well. The hotel is not fancy, but nice. The rooms are a bit small, but clean and comfortable. We had a great experience. Thank you to the hotel!

Try the heater/airconditioner to be SURE it runs QUIETLY before you get unpacked! Check room to be sure it is CLEAN before unpacking! Bathroom lighting is TERRIBLE! Guest room lighting is very POOR! frig was cool but NOT COLD!

Convenient for our purposes, very well maintained and an excellent restaurant on premises. We stay here twice a year coming and going to our home in Puerto Vallarta. We enjoy relaxing around the pool.

We stayed at this Best Western as it is less than 15 minutes to Sahuarita where our family lives. They have a wonderful selection for your free breakfast- table service - order off the menu. 24 Hour coffee in the lobby. The main highway (I 19) is within minutes. The rooms were comfortable with a microwave and fridge. I gave 4 stars as the décor was a little dated-BUT- we were not there to spend much time in the room. Ask for a room in the back of the Inn -second floor. Our room had a view of the mountains-awesome watching the sun come up!

We prefer to stay at this motel whenever we visit Green Valley. The beds are comfortable, staff is friendly and proficient, rooms are clean. Plus we can use the restaurant/bar and we can bring our dogs! The free breakfast is a perfect amount of food and so much better than the typical breakfast bar.

The hotel was centrally located near malls and golf courses. It offered free breakfast each morning and had a extensive variety of menu choices. The rooms were recently renovated and hotel was in the process of completing more renovations throughout the hotel. The rates were reasonable and golf packages were available.

Amenities are fine. Front desk needs work. We were never told we would receive breakfast vouchers. Check-in girl acted as if we were bothering her. Also, the whirlpool didn't work and there was no signage to that effect. Had to find that out after I was wet! Hotel cleanliness was great. Lobby was clean. Slept well!

Our hiking group spent two nights here while in town to hike Mount Wrightson. Room nice sized for two, clean, small refrigerator and coffee makings, very comfortable bed, quiet room so got great sleep, only issue with room was stained carpet. Desk staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in, checked out and when any questions came up. Restaurant staff were the best especially the ladies who waited on our table for breakfasts and our after-hike dinner. Wish I remembered their names so I could acknowledge them individually. They took good care of our large group (14 in all). Complimentary breakfast was not the standard buffet but a "to order breakfast" menu with enough choices for everyone's tastes. As another review mentioned, because it is a "to order breakfast", it does take more time then the standard breakfast buffet so keep that in mind. You ask at the desk for your breakfast voucher as you're walking into the restaurant. Didn't use the pool so can't comment. Free wi-fi in room. Convenient location, close to freeway, Walgreens and other stores. Don't know age of hotel, but I'll stay here next time I visit this area. The hiking member who chose the hotel and made the reservations is familiar with accommodations in this part of AZ but said she also considered TripAdvisor reviews.

We reserved a suite which is just two regular rooms with the adjoining door removed. One room has two queen beds, the other room had a sofa bed and a table with four chairs (and a TV, dresser, etc.). There are, therefore, two baths, two places to hang clothes (I wouldn't call it a closet as it doesn't have a door). The bedroom had a small table with two fairly uncomfortable chairs. There was room for an easy chair but that corner was empty with just a floor lamp. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well. Rooms overlooked the pool area; the sliding doors were not locked when we got there which was a bit disturbing. Carpeting is dark and somewhat stained. Rooms and baths are pretty outdated, it looked/felt somewhat like the older LaQuinta's. Outdoors is well-maintained and the pool area looked nice (didn't use it). Front desk staff didn't much seem interested, we couldn't even find anyone when we checked out. We'll pick another hotel next time we're in this area.

When you are visiting relatives in Tubac, AZ your choices for hotels are very limited. We stayed about 20 minutes away from Tubac in Green Valley that only has a few hotels. This hotel was very dated and very worn. It needs a face lift or better yet a remodel. It was comfortable and had everything we needed but if you stay there just don't expect anything but the very old, basic hotel room.

The room was just fine although we paid a deer price for it--no bargain close to the border for us. No courtesy breakfast either. Staff were friendly and helpful, the area was nice to walk in. Looks like the community is mostly retirees. Very few streetlights so it's best to walk during the daylight. Probably will never be back again--stayed two nights.

Generally comfortable and clean with good access to the highway and within easy distance to Nogales and the Border with Mexico. Older hotel but relatively comfortable - also has a pool for longer stays. Attached restaurant - dark and dingy with poor lighting but the food was reasonably good as was the service. Seated breakfast not as good as the usual help yourself and takes much longer, especially if you are trying to get away.

We have nothing negative to say about our experience with this best Western Hotel. It's walking distance to several good restaurants, including their own restaurant right there in the hotel. Southern Arizona tends to be high-priced this time of year, but we did not find that in the room rates nor in the best westerns own dining. Service was good, and the staff very friendly. It's also close to Madeira Canyon so we had a chance to take a nice country drive and get in the mountains and hike short distance. We'll be back for more!

Handy location and amenity of meal service on site and courtyard swimming pool. Located conveniently at edge of commercial center of old Green Valley, yet not next to noisy Interstate 19. May walk to salon, restaurants, bank , pharmacy, or other businesses If family's homes are full of guests, this is the next best place within a few miles of their homes, but I've not tried air B&B. However, I have paid lower rates in the shoulder seasons of resort destinations than during this hot summer week. Other guests during our stay were pleasant and considerate.

Nicely decorated rooms, AC that worked well, comfortable beds, great service from the front desk to housekeeping. Excellant breakfast. Will stay again . Easy to find off of I19, conveinent parking, Clean pool. Quiet setting, we felt safe while there.

Very nice as you arrive you have a restaurant attached to the hotel. In the morning you get a free full breakfast as part of your hotel charge. Pool and hot tub were great size. Clean and cozy! First time at Best Western and impressed with amenities! Loved the meals!
