Best Western Plus Riverfront Hotel and Suites

Problems happen at night and in this case the fill valve in the toilet stopped working and maintenance was called. Management did all they could to help us [they succeeded, admirably]since we had planned for a very early departure

Very friendly staff, every member I saw greeted me with a smile and warm welcome. The hotel was clean and well maintained and is in a very quiet neighborhood. The breakfast area was very clean and many choices for breakfast.

My room was clean, the staff were very helpful and informative when I checked in and throughout my stay, breakfast was great and several options were provided and my bed was comfortable. I will definitely be staying in a Best Western Hotel again.

This was the first hotel that I stayed at where the was bustling. The room itself is quite small for the amount of equipment and people that use it. The treadmill was hard to get, another one would be helpful, I'm just not sure where you would put it. I was impressed that the gym and pool had 24 hour service but then at 9 PM our kids were kicked out for making too much noise in the pool I'm not exactly sure what to think of that. Is it 24 hour use or not? Set hours if paying guests have to be quiet in there after a certain time. Not everyone goes into the pool just to swim boring laps, they are going to have fun. There was a comment made by a lady at the front desk, I didn't get her name as I overheard her from the second floor balcony telling someone this hockey team will be checking out tomorrow they've already been giving a warning for too much noise in the pool and proceeded to make comments of how we were from Canada. Pretty ignorant in my opinion. I have never been to a hotel where adults tried to speak to staff as adults but in the end the paying customer was getting yelled at - horrible customer service! In addition, the breakfast is under cooked and flavourless.

The Best Western Plus Riverfront in Great Falls, MT is one of our favourite hotels to stay along our travels. We've stayed here at least four times and we will be back! We highly recommend this comfortable, clean and friendly hotel.

I love this hotel ! Must be one of my favourite from all BW I have ever stayed . First I was traveling with my dog and employees working were so welcoming to him And gave him all attention . I loved that they had market place and I could go and buy ice cream In the middle Of the night , not just vending machines ! There was stand with magazines about Montana , river path right behind the hotel to take the dog out , and breakfast selection was very good . Rooms were nice and clean and I didn't mind smaller bed . Well done ! Thank you !

So glad we decided to stay here. Kathy was awesome. We were able to check in early and upgraded to a lower level suite on the river side which worked out great since we were traveling with our dog. Very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed walking the river trail and the view from our room. Will stay here again.

Not only are they pet friendly. Pets are actually welcome! No hidden rules or fees. They also have EV charging which is a huge perk. Especially in a city with zero rapid charging infrastructure. Excellent front desk staff and a great breakfast! Very comfortable rooms in an easily accessible location.

This property is absolutely lovely. Mark at the front desk who checked us in was very welcoming and prompt in finishing the check in process itself. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. If we had to make one comment of a negative nature it's that the breakfast although plentiful and hot, is really lacking in healthy choices. Otherwise we would highly recommend this property!

I have stayed at this location 3 times in the last 5 months for business. I have appreciated the cleanliness, comfortable beds, friendly staff and convenient breakfast. I travel with a dog and the park-like riverside walk is convenient.

When we got there we were greeted with a smile by Laurie and Darla , immediately made best friends, the rooms were clean and beds were made every day and clean towels every day . The breakfast was great and service was second to none . I highly recommend this place. I thank the staff from the bottom of my heart. Great stay I will be back as I promised.

Some friends and I (and a puppy) stayed here for a nice overnight. The beds were comfortable, pillows great, location and amenities excellent. Staff are friendly and accommodating. It is quiet and serene. Great Falls is not that big of a city; but, the setting for the hotel is quiet. The hotel is close to the main thoroughfare making it easy to get to shopping and restaurants. In fact, there is an Applebees within walking distance! Thanks for a great stay!

FABULOUS PLACE! Service was great, beds awesome, pool nice, beautiful flowers all over the place. It's by the river and very beautiful. Highly recommend. I was impressed with the staff and the rooms were clean.

Had a group stay there overnight recently. It was a nice hotel and the location was very good. The breakfast was adequate. The beds were comfortable. Everything went well with the group. There were no complaints.

Beautiful location and friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Good night sleep and nice shower. Breakfast was offered but we didn't partake. Small sign indicated what would be served. Nice touch!

Our room was pretty clean, and our experience with the couple employees we encountered was good. Our room was quiet, the jacuzzi that came in our room was very nice, however there was an option for lights in it and the lights didn't work. Bathroom light was flicker-y. But we honestly enjoyed everything about our room. I did feel like the couch wasn't really great but it wasn't important to us, and it was clean anyways. We had a great time in our room and we'd both love to come stay in this hotel in a similar room again some time.

This is a great hotel. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was great. Breakfast was really good to. Better them most hotel breakfast. Front desk staff was awesome! Can't say enough good about Malissa and Kathy!

Very clean, breakfast buffet had a great selection and someone was there to help and restock, very clean. Pool open 24 hours, so we able to enjoy it a couple of times. Really quiet and the beds were comfortable. Beautiful view of the river, next time will stay in a room with a patio, so we could enjoy the river more.

The room we stayed in had one of the beds up against the air conditioning/heating unit. Terrible. Also, crumbs all over the kitchen flood and counter with sticky rings of food on the counter. There was a crawling bug on my pillow. The curtain was stained and gross. The mattress pad was thin and hanging out. I would never stay in this hotel. It was disgusting.

Beautiful grounds with gorgeous landscaping & great customer service! The manager was highly accommodating and even though there were a few things going wrong with our unit; they were fixed immediately!

This is a very nice hotel located on the banks of the Missouri River. The front desk person, Mark, was very nice and got us checked in immediately. The room was neat and clean. My only problem was the sink drained real slow. I left a note for housekeeping. The breakfast was great.

Just got back home today after spending the week (June 26 to 30)at this hotel. What a lovely experience! From the moment we checked in to check out, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Front desk staff were very nice to deal with. Tracy in the breakfast area was especially friendly and kept everything hot and plentiful. Every day was something different and a sign was put up later in the day to say what would be served the next morning. LOVE the touch free pancake maker! Eating areas were spotless and quite liked the fact the coffee area was separate from the food area. There were 4 regular coffee carafes, 1 decaf and 1 hot water so you could make tea or hot chocolate. This area is 24/7 so hubby liked going down for an after supper coffee (as did numerous others). A couple of times there were fresh cookies bagged up to be taken. Our room was on the ground floor and it too was spotless. Every day housekeeping came in and refreshed what needed to be (unlike way too many other hotels now). We did not use the pool or fitness room but hubby will probably use the pool next trip. The grounds were immaculate and very colourful with all the flowers. All in all, HIGHLY recommend staying here and look forward to returning. Thank you Best Western.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Great Falls MT. Clean, friendly, good location, nice beds. Get a river view room for sure, and if you can get a king riverside with ground floor. Also, Tracy that works the breakfast area is AWESOME, and the breakfast selection is well worth it.

We walked the Riverfront to get exercise after such a long drive. You can walk the pathway all the way to the falls if you are that adventuresome. The view is peaceful and quiet and the room is very peaceful. We love the Keurig coffee machine and breakfast starts early with eggs and sausage or yogurt and fruit whichever you prefer. We will come again when going through town

This is a very nice hotel and great value. Rooms are clean and the hotel was quiet. Good location on the Missouri River. Close and easy drive to the Russell Museum and the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.

Clean and modern rooms, nice staff, free breakfast, pool and hot tub open 24 hours which is nice. Complimentary electric vehicle charging which is a bonus. Would stay here again if I'm ever in great falls.

I got the king suite with the kitchenette. A bigger fridge would have been nice instead of the mini fridge, but it had plenty of storage space for dishes and dry goods. The room had a balcony with a nice view of the river.

I always come back to the Riverfront Inn and Suites because they always provide the best service. I have worked for BW and this one hits every one of my necessities. Spa suite with balcony (facing the Missouri River!), whirlpool, 24 hour pool and spa, great internet, HD TV, etc. Also being a Diamond member I was offered bottles of water and a free upgrade on my room. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

After traveling all day we arrived to a clean suite with a little Christmas tree lit and glowing in the corner! The staff cared enough to add a special touch and I truly appreciated it. Good breakfast with lots is seating available

The Social Security Administration decided I was dead and I had to get from Edmonton, Alberta to Great Falls Montana to show them that I was alive. That was a 10+ hour drive. When I checked-in, I got a wonderful up-grade to a river view room with a patio, hot tub and fireplace, I felt so pampered! The bed was wonderful also, and I was well rested for my encounter with SS the next morning. Wonderful Western Hospitality. It is a great place to stay.

What a fabulous little hotel. Super clean and the staff was so friendly. Great included hot breakfast with several choices. Great location by the river with dog walking paths. Yes you can bring your dog! It was nice seeing the pups. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one nite, travelling from Florida to Alberta. We wanted something that was off the beaten path and traffic. What a great surprise. We didn't realize the property was on the riverbank. Nice walking area, and felt safe. The check in process was smooth, and the girls were friendly, explaining all the features/areas of the hotel. The room was big and bright, nicely updated. Left before the breakfast was out, but the coffee/tea station was available 24/7 I think. The only slight negative I had was the swiggly, wavy carpet in the rooms. As someone who suffers from vertigo, and driving for 12 hours, I found the carpet especially bothersome...but that's just me.

We have stayed at this BW several times over the past 2 years to watch our son's soccer games. Every visit is a great experience. We love the riverfront balcony rooms with full kitchen and king bed and nice view of the river. Rooms are large, cozy and comfortable. We appreciate the extremely friendly staff and extra care they give to their job. The outdoor patio is very nice with the gas fireplace to hang out by in the evening. I love running the paths and trails that are close by. The breakfast is good, although I generally bring my own food too. Overall great place for the price. Highly recommend it.

Great place to say during our trip through Montana. Very updated hotel and clean with a great staff. Breakfast was pretty standard but clean and well presented. Decor was very up-to-date and location would be great if the weather would have cooperated for us.

It was a great stay. King spa suite alone is always worth the stay. The hotel has a beautiful view over looking the river with a great location in great falls. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have and will continue to stay at this property anytime I come to Great Falls.

Well, the pillows were musty smelling. We asked for them to be replaced and they were eventually. The staff at the desk were largely indifferent in their attitudes, as if they were reading a script for the first time--that was disappointing. Everything had the air of indifference. Except the staff at breakfast. The breakfasts were pretty good.

3 Years ago this was LaQuinta. Same owner, same beautiful property, and Best Western standard of excellence. Sadly, Wyndham lowered the standards of La Quinta. We moved our rewards program to Best Western and have never looked back! The prices are more than many properties, but the staff, breakfast, clean in and outdoor areas are all excellent. We appreciate all Malissa and Cathy did to make our visit to this great city on the Missouri River a real treat. Rooms on river side are quieter, but street side is only noisy in the morning. 2 restaurants are within walking distance. We love this property and will always make it our choice in Great Falls.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in September, 2022. We were vacationing in Montana and Wyoming. This hotel is a very nice property in a great location. It is right on the Missouri River in a park like setting with a path running along the river for some distance. We had a room with a balcony facing the river and it was very pleasant sitting on the balcony. Our room and beds were comfortable. The room was very clean. The hotel seems to be an older property, but it is well maintained. There were beautiful flowers all around the hotel and I very much enjoyed the ambiance they provided. Breakfast was the usual included hotel buffet breakfast and it was fine. The breakfast areas look as if they have been recently updated and they were very pleasant. There are only two things which prevent me from giving this hotel 5 stars and there is nothing the hotel could do about these problems. One is the trains across the river. They blow their whistles apparantly at a grade crossing and the noise travels very well across the river and into the hotel rooms. Usually there are no trains in the middle of the night that we heard, but one weekday morning there were at least 3 trains between 4am and 7am. The other problem is that there is not sufficient sound proofing between the floors. We were on the second floor and someone in the room above us started walking across the floor at 4am every morning. This went on until 7am at least. I have no idea what someone needs to do for 3 hours that requires walking across the room every few minutes. From other reviews I have decided that our problem was not an isolated one. It would be best to get a room on the top floor. One of the best things about the hotel is the pleasantness of everyone working in it.

Very nice clean hotel and the location was perfect. We could walk to Gibson Park and several restaurants quite easily; if you are up to walking. The room was nice and clean and the staff were great! Very friendly atmosphere. The only dowsides were that the parking was not great - full house and the lot on the North end had tiny stalls making it impossible to get in and out of the car, we did get one small door ding from another guest. And the sound proofing, if you are on the bottom floor, was not good. We had a stomper that never seemed to sit down one night til 3:30 in the morning and one night we had kids running back and forth overhead and it sounded like the ceiling was going to collapse. Next time will ask for the top floor. Overall, it was a nice stay though and the breakfast offerings were really nice.

Very pleasant hotel. Clean, quiet rooms. Ours had a view of the river which was a plus. The front desk staff were super nice and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was very quiet, even though hotel was at capacity Beds were really comfortable. Room was dark with curtains closed and A/C worked really well

Always friendly, fast check in, great breakfast, clean rooms, lots of easy parking, Well lite parking lot , if you get a river view, it's very beautiful , if you travel with pets there is a place to walk

We used the hotel for a family passing and this property served us very well. After our booking, many other family members booked here as well. We all had a great experience. There were a few places that we could gather and visit that weren't "in room" which was perfectly what we needed. The extended hours for the pool served our family very well, and we could keep a close eye on them while enjoying outdoor space. This was a great place to stay.

My husband and I really enjoy the whirlpool rooms for a quick, romantic evening to weekend without having to go to far from home. Rooms are spacious and clean and the whirlpool tub is definitely big enough for two!

This hotel is over priced for the condition, bed is terrible, bathroom small, out dated and dirty, more like a super 8 or motel 6, would not recommend this motel to anyone and will not stay there again, when I reserved the room I assumed it was nice based on its price….

We had a third floor room with a balcony overlooking river. Beautiful sunsets both nights! Hotel is right next door to McKenzie River pizza but not really walking distance to much else. The bed was comfortable and the room was roomy, however, the sitting room furniture needs to be upgraded. It was so dirty I did not sit on the chair or couch. Recommend you get a room on the first floor with a patio, especially if you have a pet.

Beautiful flower plantings greeted me, front desk were very helpful as I arrived too early to check in and sped up cleaning of room so I could check in within an hour. Very comfortable, clean room with a handicap shower. Very helpful hand carts for luggage in lobby. Delicious hot breakfast every morning. 2 restaurants within walking distance for dinner. I was alone in the room for 2 nights while my family attended a reunion at a remote ranch where they camped in tents.I could attend during the days.

The rooms are huge, the balcony views over the Missouri are breath taking. The wildlife over and around the river was spectacular, pelicans, ducks, sea gulls, and squirrels abound. A photography heaven. Morning squirrels at play with in feet of me while I overlooked the river, once in a lifetime experience.

Up to date and clean hotel room. Friendly staff and great breakfast selection! The rooms were huge and views amazing! The hotel is very quiet even though at capacity. Our jacuzzi suite had a fireplace and every amenity I could hope for!

Right by the river. Quiet for the most part except for the train whistle at 4:30 am. Super clean and well appointed room. Nice pool and hot tub. A bit more pool supervision would be appreciated but we would certainly stay again!

I paid a little more to have a river view. It was nice to be away from the road, a little quieter. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The light over the bathroom sink was broken when I arrived and the staff was good to get the light working. Breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold items.

I always have problems with the front desk ....there story and the reservation line need to regroup about the paying cash when you check out ....I get so tired of arguing with the staff at the hotel ....isn't the customer always right ...

The trip to Great Falls, Montana was for the sake of nostalgia, as well as to pick up an order at Montana Shipping outlet in Sweetgrass. It added a few more hours to the journey but we got a little holiday out of it. We hadn't been down here since 2015, so it was nice to anticipate the revisit. We stayed three nights at the Best Western plus Riverfront Hotel. It was good enough, but I am sorry to say, sadly in need of a redo. The overall appearance is quite shabby looking, perhaps a victim of the recession caused by the villain, Covid. So better times are coming, time to pull up your socks. Also, the breakfast buffet needs an upgrade. A good example to follow are the excellent breakfast menus put on by most European hotels. Certainly, we, who frequent N.A. hotels, deserve better, if not so, at least our taste buds do. The rate charged by the hotel did not reflect these deficiencies, fortunately we were able to pay with "points". But enough of the negative, because these are all doable fixes. The positive features of the "Plus" are of course, the friendly lady attending to the breakfast buffet and of course the great location. You are right by the"mighty Mo", the Mackenzie River Pizza Co. is next door and the ever reliable Applebees just down the road. There is ample parking available, great for those pulling in for a one night stop while returning from "RVing" down south. Also the outside appearance of the Plus is appealing, of course, enhanced by the location. I should mention that there was small room, just off of the lobby area where you could purchase items like toiletries and confections. So, we weren't here to critique our accommodation, we were on a trip of rediscovery. We had never spent 4 days in Great Falls before, so this time we took the time to explore the surrounding area. we took a nice scenic drive along the Missouri River, impressed by the fancy housing developments lining the river valley, a good sign that there is money being spent down here. A repeat visit to Giant Springs State Park was also on the list. It offers s pretty walk to the springs and some excellent views of the River and its sundry developments. One of the reasons Albertans used to travel to Great Falls was for the shopping. We thought that deals were to be had, this is not the case anymore. Nonetheless, there are some interesting shopping opportunities available, the North Forty Outfitters certainly falls into this category. It is a unique store, indeed. Holiday Village, in the "old" days was the place to shop, not so anymore, other than Scheels Sporting Goods, J.C.Pennys and a few other odds and ends, there are too many empty shops. Too bad, really. The old town has some interesting old buildings, the post office, being one, is located in an impressive old building. Also, a trip down here would be remiss if one didn't pay a visit to the C. M. Russell Museum. It is set on the grounds of the old Russell homestead. As well as featuring Charlie Russell art, it also features the works of others. This is a must see, well done! Actually, I forgot to mention, that we had a bit of servicing done on the Escape. This was done because it was convenient, not because of necessity. So if you fall into this situation or perhaps just need some attention to your automobile, might we suggest an establishment by the name of Great Falls Auto Repair. They offered good service, they charge comparable prices to what we would pay in Alberta. This pretty wraps up what happened in Great Falls on our trip of rediscovery. Would we do it again, maybe, but it would be closer to summer, this trip was in early April. A bit later time would afford us some most outdoor experiences, also, this has been a coolish spring, so the weather was not the most pleasant. Anyway, I expect the Best Western Plus to perhaps do some upgrades. Please take this as constructive criticism. A good visit and nice to head back home! Thanks.

We booked our stay for an Anniversary and first vacation without kids in 5 years. I called ahead to the manager to confirm that I could get a 3rd level to avoid noise from above, and about the train across the street. I was advised to book the riverside and I wouldn't hear it, and that if I booked it online the manager would notate for a top level. Excitedly I booked the room, and received the confirmation immediately with all details but the room number, which is not unusual. When we arrived the couple before us was disappointed to hear the top level was completely booked out to a company for the weekend. When I asked about the notation from the manager the receptionist stated their was no notes, and the supervisor interjected and Rudely stated that I would be on the second level, and had no other choice. Even though I booked, and arrived first, and confirmed everything. the manager would not be in until the day after we checked out. We decided to look at the room and make our decision and were disgusted to see fingerprints and smudges on all mirrors and glass, stains and "other spills" on the bed and headboard, and cigarette butts under the couch. we called all other hotels within the area and they were all booked for the weekend. Our nights were restless due to the train, a creaky bed, and the jetted tub in the room above us. we took an early breakfast. The waffles were the only thing worth eating. the juice/water dispenser was broken, and I couldn't stomach the coffee.

great location right on the river can't beat the view or location. Great for dog park right along river Dog park right down the road. Will be back Not far from shopping or interpretive center for Lewis and Clark

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable with a view of the river. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and a door separating the bedroom with rest of the room.

the times ive stayed at riverfront have always been pleasant and the staff has always been more than acomedateing they make it worth the stay !! you can walk the river sit out on your balcony (riverside) or you can sit down at the fire pit ,go swiming or just hang out in your room ! but whatever ive done ive enjoyed

First we had to find a place that would allow a cat. They did, and didn't do an up charge. Manager was super helpful and friendly, despite I'm sure being very busy. Room was VERY clean, bed was super comfortable. The rest of the hotel was also very clean. Our room was updated.

There is something special about how this hotel was designed. All amenities are right where you expect them to be unlike most hotels. Lots of areas to sit and visit on extremely comfortable furniture. Coffee room is across the hall from the breakfast area so super easy in and out. Ice cold water station a few feet away from that. It's located right on the Missouri River with outside seating, river walk trail blocks away from the traffic noise, yet still easy access to the highway. Quite impressed, and I travel a lot.

The included breakfast and the hotel's location are the best things about this place. With that said, it is getting to be an old hotel that has changed hands now a couple of times and in need of major updating. For the price and service I think there is better places to stay.

Our family was in town for a funeral. This was my first time staying at this hotel. Beautiful view of the Missouri River. There is a walking path behind the hotel. This was the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in Montana, employees were great.

Stayed here for business. Rooms were good and front desk ladies were nice. Breakfast was nice. They have a pancake bobot that's fun to watch cook your flapjacks. So if you're looking for something to do in the morning. Give that a spin.

We are pilot cars, escorting wind turbine blades. Due to closure at Canadian border we were unable to go any further. Brittany, who checked us in, went the extra mile to accommodate us. We have a small service dog and like being on first floor near a door. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We had a riverview room. The property is very peaceful and quiet. Easy access to shopping and restaurants. The hot breakfast was very good. This will be a definite stop when in the area.

Staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean, parking was adequate, and no complaints at all. Hotel is located in a convenient part of town with easy access to restaurants, etc. Fast check in and out.

The staff at the hotel is very accomodating. Easy check in and nice breakfast buffet. We had a king suite & it was spacious-- a bit dated but clean. Over looked the river so the view was great. Could hear the train but didn't affect sleeping.

Cozy warm hotel in sub degree weather with an awesome breakfast each morning. All you can drink coffee was available too! I enjoyed the fitness center and wished I brought a swim suit for the 24 hour pool and hot tub. Staff was super friendly.

I definitely recommend the king suite with the fireplace and jacuzzi. The room was comfortable and the views of the river were perfect. We still stay here every time we visit Great Falls. The entire hotel was spotless.

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with a stay at the Best Western. When we checked we were given a free upgrade on our room. The staff was so thoughtful. Our room was perfect…clean, quiet and good beds. The breakfast had everything you could want…we like staying here when we are in Great Falls!

This is the 3 rd time staying at this hotel in 2.5 years. Service is amazing, rooms clean, breakfast is very good with clean dining rooms and plenary of covid killer stations nearby the hotel common areas. Breakfast staff were the most accommodating we have met this trip. Would highly recommend

Even with a full hotel, the girls went out of their way to help all of the guest. I was taking my granddaughter for her 8th Birthday night, all she wanted to do is swim, the pool was great. Breakfast was great choice of pancakes or waffles, biscuits and gravy.

For cross border shopping, I normally drive to Spokane. I don't like driving through the Rocky Mountains during snow season, and with a need to pick up some purchases from vendors who won't deliver to Canada, I decided to use Great Falls as a receiving point, and spend a night there. We chose this hotel for our stay. It's a facility that could use a little modernizing. The fixtures in our room weren't shabby, but they have been around for awhile. The room and bathroom were clean, but wasn't happy to see a previous guest's food still in the fridge. Wasn't that happy with the queen bed I had - incredibly soft and may need to be replaced. Really disappointed with the front desk personnel. When I checked in at 3 pm, I asked what I could get for a late check out the next day. I was told I needed to ask whoever was working the desk the next morning to see what they could do for us. The next morning, one of the people who was there when I checked in was working. I asked as a Diamond Select level member how much later I could extend our stay, the front desk person said we could stay until 12 pm. Really? The hotel's website has their check out time at 12pm. So, she goes back to the office and says she'll talk to the housekeeping supervisor. After a few minutes, she comes back and says "We can let you stay until 12:30." While I took it, I wasn't happy. Thirty extra minutes wasn't much help to us. In a pinch, I wouldn't have a problem booking here again. That said, I'm not going to consider this place unless I have to. As a platinum member of Marriott's program, I'm guaranteed a 4 pm checkout if I need it. I'll have to consider the local Spring Hill Suites the next time I'm in town.

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay. The facilities were well maintained and the location - overlooking the river - was very relaxing. The staff was cheerful and extremely helpful. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Great Falls.

Would stay again, staff was wonderful. Furniture was out dated but comfortable. the location was perfect. We enjoyed the continental breakfast; we also enjoyed the hot tub & pool. We did have a little confusion at check in. We reserved 3 rooms & one got dropped so that was one little snafu, but it was ironed out... Otherwise, good!

The room was furnished nicely with a table and two chairs and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. On top of all that, the view of the Missouri River was splendid!

We needed to get away for a couple days, we also run a small motel, so it's a 24/7 job. A staycation was a perfect break for us. We stayed her before and knew this was a quiet and clean place to stay.

Excellent stay at the Best Western Riverfront Hotel and Suites. Hot breakfast was included in the price of our stay. Small parking lot but we were given ideas of where we could park our rig. Comfortable beds.

While the name and look of this property have changed, the exceptional guest service has not. Malissa and her team always provide a warm, homey environment to their travelers. i have the ability to stay at different properties with discounts, however i choose to stay with this team because of their attitude towards me and their other guests. Obadiah and I absolutely love BW Riverside in. The rooms are clean, updated, and so comfortable. The staff is friendly. The outside areas are clean and beautiful. It is such an enjoyable place to spend time with my boy and he loves the attention he receives. He knows the place well as this is our go to getaway hotel. He absolutely loves the king sized bed. I am still relegated a space about two inches past my body width, but it is still very comfortable.

We have stayed at this location every time we have visited Great Falls in the past 5 years and this time it is now a Best Western property (formerly a LaQuinta). The hotel is located on the river with an incredible walking path along the river and MacKenzie River Pizza next door. The property is well-kept and clean. We will be back.

BW is the absolute best in consistency. Love the service, the rooms and flexibility. Always clean and very well kept rooms. They always accommodate my crazy travel schedule. The absolute best! Stay at your local BW!!

Room was filthy! We found broken plastic pieces all over the carpet so it obviously wasn't vacuumed. Not to mention we found a dirty sock covered in hair next to the bed. Walls were dirty. Hairs in the bed. No excuse for a BW Plus room to be in this condition. Water also did not get hot even late at night. We checked in late and didn't discover most of the issues till the next morning, but the staff was not very friendly or concerned when we brought the issues up at checkout. Very dissatisfied customer and disappointed that I chose this hotel.

I always enjoy the stone and wood décor and this MT location nailed it. Clarissa is an awesome associate, she greeted us every morning with a smile as we ate our breakfast. She definitely enjoys her work.

The room and service were great. The WiFi could have been better. I got faster service using my own data. Breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. Check in and check out was super easy. Good room for the rate.

We stayed in one of the riverfront suites. The room was great. We had a chair and loveseat with a large television in one room. A two burner stove, sink, dishwasher, microwave and a small refrigerator across from the bathroom dividing the living room from the bedroom. The bedroom had a medium size television and a balcony overlooking the river. The view from the balcony was nice but could have been better. The breakfast area was nice but the food was so so. The eggs were cold but we microwaved them. We would stay there again but probably not get the river view room.

Amenities are amazing, view is awesome and staff is great! Good place to stay with pets and children! Had a lil issue with the ac unit but the maintenance guy got it fixed asap, twice! Beds are good and relaxing and so is the jacuzzi

We needed a stay for one night on a western road trip. This hotel was in a great location. The front desk staff very helpful. Room and bed were comfortable. Only negative was the sink in the bathroom had strange water pressure/flow issue. There is a MacKenzie River Pizza Co restaurant right next door that was convenient for dinner. Right on the Missouri River with walking trail.

Staff was very courteous, very comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast choices were plenty, room was clean, very beautiful scenery, yard parking lot was clean, pool area tidy with towels that were supplied and refreshed when low.

This is a new or recently-updated hotel. Modern bathroom tile and fixtures. Paint seemed fresh. Carpet reasonably clean. No ceiling light, but good lighting generally. The cleanest and best-maintained guest laundry I have ever encountered! Very friendly and helpful staff. Good temp control. Good desk/chair. They were doing an order-ahead bagged breakfast which worked well for us. The only reason this is not a 5+ is because the bed was too soft and sagged towards the center. Good location with easy access to everything you need.

My husband and I were on our way back from the desert driving to Canada. This is the perfect stop, especially if you have dogs. It's less than 2 hours to the border, there is a beautiful park amd river walk out back with incredible sunsets. We always stop at this location. Always clean and friendly with breakfast. Comfortable beds and good showers. Everything one needs.

The staff was helpful enough. Breakfast was limited choices with no description of the choices. You must make your breakfast choice the evening before and turn it in to the front desk. The room floor was very dirty. But the room amenities were fine.

First visit last month. Great family hotel. Nice location with views of the river for many rooms. Make sure to ask for a river view. Nice location to many amenities. friendly staff. Room was comfortably large. Shower/bath combo were great. TV and channels all acceptable. Very clean. Front desk was very helpful with advice despite a large conference in the city. We will stay here again and again.

we booked last minute so the kids could have some fun . the booking tok 2 minutes , checking in was a breeze . we used the hot tub, pool , fire pit and wifi. we had no issues and enjoyed our stay . would recommend for anyone looking to get away in great falls.

We have been in a few hotels now after / during this Covid period, and this is the first that was really clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and pool and outside area were all kept clean. I would love to have every hotel like this one. Definitely recommend to anyone going to the area. Bed was wonderful, and so was the shower. Breakfast, even "grab & go" was outstanding and more than we could eat.

Very friendly staff. Clean Rooms, Great Location. I have stayed there many times. Check in was very quick and easy. Grab and Go breakfast was well done by pre-ordering the night before. Really secure parking area with good lighting.

UPDATE THIS HOTEL ! I use Best Western because of their reputation for ensuring clean, well maintained hotels and rooms. We were traveling with a pet, but obviously this hotel "designates" certain rooms for pets, and the room we were in smelled like a thousand tomcats had been living there. The stink was overpowering, carpet full of pet hair, and worn beyond usability, torn curtains, dirty windows and slider door to balcony. Found bobby pins under bathroom sink, coffee stirrer under bed (what? Why no solid bed frame?) We reserved a king room, ended up in a king suite with a jetted tub, nice, but hot water rain out before we could fill it all the way. Small bathroom vanity, right near door, no way to lay out personal items, full length mirror on wall by door, so felt like there was no privacy. Walls in the shower area appeared to have mildew along the baseboard. There was only 1 bar of soap, and no soap dish at either the washing sink or in shower, so there was always a mess. The sink was a very shallow "bowl" sink and was useless. Old cabinetry in the kitchenette area, that didn't close all the way, missing shelves in mini-fridge. (We found out from friends that this was a former "La Quinta" Inn that BW took over. Great location, lovely from the outside, even the hall carpets and hallway paint seemed fresh, but our room itself, fell short of our expectations. Due to covid, breakfast was "modified" to be bagged, premade choices that we filled out a card for each day. No changes from day to on choice, and thank goodness the microwave actually worked because the "breakfast sandwich) was frozen and we had to go back down to get some napkins and paper plates to actually prepare them (I ended up not eating mine). Pre-packed fruit in jello, milk for cereal that had that day's date as the expiration, all "pastries", were nothing more than a pre-packed Little Debbie type cinnamon bun. I will note that the young lady at front desk was very receptive after our first night when I told her about the overwhelming smell. She sent housekeeping up right away to "spray" an odor reducer, which only masked the smell slightly. She was again very apologetic when I checked out and told her the smell never really left and I ended up buying and using an entire bottle of pet odor destroyer myself (which again, only slightly reduced the smell). She wanted to move us to another room after the first night, but due to a major event, there were no other rooms. I had to spray and steam the clothes we brought for the funeral we were attending and kept them closed up tight in a travel bag in the closet to keep them from picking up the smell. I would hope the hotel will take the time to update all the rooms, as it is a fantastic location on the river, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is a nice looking property with comfortable rooms but they really skimped on "free breakfast." We visited in between stays at other Best Western properties that offered full, sit-down breakfasts with eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, etc. This Great Falls BW property did not offer sit-down breakfast, just a very limited grab-and-go option of yogurt, granola bars, etc. It was a very disappointing contrast to the other BW properties that provided full breakfast service. They are delivering much less value to customers. At check-in, the front desk blamed it on staff shortages, which frankly aren't the customer's problem.

This was a great hotel on the river. We had a room with a spa tub and a balcony. We were able to enjoy both. The sunsets were awesome to watch from the balcony and the spa tub was very relaxing after long days of being out and about. Our son went and enjoyed the pool and hot tub both of which were nice. For us the only thing was the odor in the room. It smell like sour water. We reported it to the front desk they did have someone come up and spray some sort of cleaner, but the smell did not go away. We opened all the windows and the balcony door which helped to eliminate the smell.

Very clean, comfortable hotel in a great location! The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is a beautiful walking path along the river as an added bonus! Nice artwork and decor too!

We recently spent 2 nights in Great Falls. I was looking for a hotel that would be centrally located and I think this BW fits the bill. The best part is that it's right on the Missouri River, so definitely book a riverfront room with a balcony - we spent quite a bit of time sitting on our balcony with that fabulous view. The hotel is a short and easy drive to the Lewis & Clark Center or downtown for the CMRussell Museum. The daytime front desk staff was extremely friendly and very helpful explaining the special circumstances in place due to COVID. The late afternoon staff - who checked us in - were polite but didn't do much to explain the processes. It makes a difference; we didn't really feel welcomed until the next morning when we spoke to the daytime staff. Due to COVID, the hotel was not doing daily maid service but made it very easy to get new towels, toiletries and empty trash cans. Instead of a breakfast buffet, they had each guest complete a menu the night before and pick up their breakfast bag the next morning. They did a very good job with this - it's not just a granola bar, there are cereal options, hot sandwiches, muffins, drinks etc. It was well done and our balcony came in very handy for eating our breakfast. \\ We selected a suite and were very happy with the modern bathroom and little bar/kitchen area, all in good condition. The suite gave us extra room but I'm not sure we'd select a suite next time. The living room area has no windows so it's very dark (plus upholstered furniture was dark and a little dingy) and a little depressing. The bedroom was much lighter because of the sliding door to the balcony. Also note that the heat/air conditioning system in the suites is a little strange. There's one thermostat, so one room is always colder or hotter than the other. Still, the BW is a good option for a visit to Great Falls - beautiful along the river and much closer to sites in town than the other hotels out on the main strip leading into town or by the airport.

Hotel not too far off interstate right along the river. Easy check in, clean and there is a lovely path along the rover to walk or ride bikes. Close to restaurants and town. Hotel has bikes you can check out to ride along river. Good breakfast and quiet.

With a room on the main floor and a sliding glass door that opens up to the river walk, it is the perfect place to take your pet. The river walk is one of the most scenic areas in Great Falls. The paved walkway is safe and scenic. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. I found the staff to be very helpful.

Nice room with a river view , a no problem Best Western stay , the trains crossing the bridge about a half-mile away were rather noisy at 10 and 2 o'clock , though! Not hotels fault , just an observation ..

Room was very clean and comfortable as was the lobby of the hotel. We had a kind size bed with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub - real luxury after long day on the road. Would strongly recommend this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming providing great service both on checkin and check out! Will definitely be our stop over on our trip to and from Canada!

Hotel location was nice right by the river, the staff person that checked me in was pleasant and the room was fine. The grab-n-go breakfast was pretty minimal but the nice thing was that they gave you a menu to fill out and hand in ahead of time, and then when you stopped by in the morning they had your sack breakfast ready to go. Nothing outstanding overall, but nice and I would stay there again.

I loved staying at this Motel, very clean, stayed in a King Suite which was so nice had a Balcony so we could look at the river. Large room, great customer service. Pool and Hot tub was in a great location.

OK really nice room we got one of the rooms over looking the river. The whirlpool and fire place was super bad a$$. My wife loved it it was worth the extra money. Now this corvid thing has the breakfast thing lets say OK it sucked.

I stayed in one of the king suites. It was clean enough at first but then when I opened my "new" complimentary conditioner bottle I found a hair in it, like if a man was shaving one of his hairs fell in. Did they replace the bottle of conditioner? are they rebottling old conditioner? I threw it away without taking a photo because I didn't want to freak out my family. Just wanted to give you all fair warning.

This place is every nice, I like the décor and has the best very large pool and hot tub, water temp was heated to the just right temperature for both hot tub to pool. Thanks and the staff was so friendly

The front desk assistant was wonderful. Cleanliness and appearance of room was great! Riverside geound floor rooms are excellent if you have dogs with you with the room having a sliding glass door to exit thru.

Truly the best place to stay in Great Falls. Marlou is always so welcoming and genuinely happy to see us. Room 106 is our favorite - and Pepper loves being allowed to stay with us. Secured covered parking is fabulous especially when the snow flies. Quiet, clean, comfortable and historic. Celtic Cowboy serves a fantastic jaeger schnitzel for dinner and a great breakfast on Sundays. One of our favorite places to “get away”.

Our experience was good. Room was nice. Only thing was that there was only one packet of regular coffee and we didn't realize that until morning. The breakfast was good. Several choices. You are given an order sheet at check-in where you make your selections and everything is in it in the morning for pickup.

This hot tub suite with see through fireplace and walk out patio, room 127, will be one we definitely will be one we request again in the future. An excellent view of the river also. The staff was very friendly very helpful.

They need to clean rooms better found dirty sock at the top of the bed between the mattress. Holes in the bed over like a rodent got to them. I called for a play pen for my 2 month old I was told prior at check in that they would bring me one and didn't and I also went down there a second time before calling and they said They'd bring it but never did then when I called they said the no longer have any available. I was very frustrated. The baby has to sleep with us do to this and that is extremely in safe and increases the chance of SIDS. Thus causing me to get a terrible night sleep because I was worried constant checking in the baby. If I would have known prior to check in they were going to give away the play pin they said they were going to bring to my room I would have stayed some where else but by the time they let us know that we would not be getting a play pin it was late and we couldn't afford to buy a second hotel room else where.

If you are in Great Falls, a great place to stay is the Best Western. It has all you need plus... We reserved the pool for a family get together for an hour and were able to extend. The view was great out the river side and the room was cool enough to sleep-with all the pillows you want! My pre checkin request was not met, but no biggie. And they may be understaffed at present, but I'm sure when this Pandemic is OVER.... it will be back in the top ranking.

We enjoyed our stay here, I did knock down 1 point because though the room appeared very clean our dog did find a jerky stick under the bed skirt and my daughter found a couple toys under there. Other than that the room was enjoyable though.

There is nothing like have a river, a bike walking park, and geese on one side and a train yard on the other. The value was great for a suite with a balcony overlooking the river. The room is well laid out, clean, and service was good.

Talk about a view!! This hotel has the capability of being amazing! However, they need some honest feedback and improvements: Room 127- the right side of the mattress is completely broke down. Definitely needs replaced. The sofa is a great idea, but the one in room 127 was so broke down that it was painful to sit on, also needs replaced. Lastly, there was a coffee maker and coffee but no filter tray. Please ensure the spa jets are cleaned properly after each guest leaves. When the jets came on there was “stuff” that came out of them. Had to run the spa with water in it, them drain and rinse the tub before getting in. Overall the room and service was nice; this survey is honest and sincere from a seasoned world traveler. Best of luck!

Super friendly staff. Large room. Super clean. Right on the river park so the dogs can do their business. Good breakfast, Jimmy Dean breakfast you hear in your microwave, voice of drink. Second time we stayed here. Very good location.

My gal and I stayed here 12-23 2020 to 12-28-20. My girl friend and I have never had better time. Great room with view of Missouri River. Great staff. Clean rooms fully stocked. Jacuzzi, Fireplace. We were visiting family for the Holidays. It was amazing. This is best of best in Great Falls

If you are visiting the Electric City, this hotel is a must. From the clean and spacious rooms to the heated pool that is available 24 hours, we will definitely be returning. It's also a 2 minute walk to Mackenzie River and a 4 minute walk to Applebee's. Walk or run off your dinner on the Rivers Edge trail right outside the door.

We stayed in the king whirlpool room and it truly was like an apartment! The tub was in a separate area that was sectioned off from the rest of the room, had a living room, walk out door that faced the river. For an amazing nightly rate. We will be back...often!

Would recommend everyone to stay here. I have been traveling for years and I can honestly say, this was the BEST & IMPRESSIVE hotel by far. Breakfast on the go, very good selections, quality product, and fresh.

Everything about our stay was top notch. The front desk staff are very friendly and kind. The rooms are spacious. The hotel is clean and neat. The view of the river was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

We found some garbage in the room from previous guest. It indicates that they didn't sanitized and throughly clean well. We stayed 1 night, first I found a toy(Hot wheels car at the bathroom, then my toddler found a McDonald receipt under the bed, my husband see some few bottle cups at side of lamp shade. Last, there's a milk left in the fridge. So filthy, how come they didn't pay attention the cleanliness service that now a days is needed most.

It seems to be a very nice place with lots of manicured open space. The have a jogging trail going thru it and picnic tables. The room I had overlooked the Missouri River. The room was nice, good service checking in and out and the breakfast was acceptable as it is limited due to the pandemic.

We stayed in many hotels as we traveled across SD, WY and MT. This place was the nicest place we stayed with everything you want in a room, comfortable, clean, coffee pot, microwave, fridge and even an extra sink for mini bar or whatever which I thought was a unique room feature. The hotel offers some nice river views and is great for walkers. They have a nice outdoor hangout area with a fire pit. The pool was open, they said they would limit the number of people to time limits and groups if in high demand, but that wasn't an issue when we stayed, my mom enjoyed a nice swim. This is a 5⭐️ quality stay at a fraction of the rates you would expect to pay with the Amenities offered. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone passing through or looking for a getaway. I have stayed at other Best Western hotels that were not as nice as this place. The staff were courteous, friendly and are doing a good job keeping this place up to high quality standards.

The staff at BWP Riverfront went out of their way to answer questions and provided excellent customer service. Housekeeping! You guys rock and sometimes you get the brunt of people... You will not get that from me. Thank you for what you did for us. Awesome job, everyone. We will be back.

Stopped due to pending snow storm and found the staff to very helpful with dinner recommendations and what side we wanted to be on to view the Missouri River. The Covid-19 protocols were strictly followed and felt very safe during our stay

I found out that Best Western recently acquired a property in Great Falls. I called up and the Rewards Program was prompt and courteous. We watched our HS Football Team take on the City Team at Memorial Stadium. I took my grandchildren swimming which they have not done in a pool since March. The Missouri River was just out the back door of the property with a great walking trail, outdoor fireplace and tables for sitting around and relaxing. We needed this getaway just to restore a little sanity back in our lives. I would recommend and have already to my friends.

Convenient local. Along the beautiful Great Falls River Greenbelt. Very nice and relaxing spot. Paved river trail is just outside the door. Rooms are comfortable and nice. ( It was quite as clean as could be) Surprising for a Best Western + and especially during the Covid precaution era.

I think I keep coming back to this chain because the staff is amazing. However, housekeeping needs a major overhaul. I rented a two queen river view suite with a kitchenette for my son and myself. Being in the medical field and working 14 hour days during this COVID-19 crisis I knew they would not have breakfast as normal so I came prepared to cook my own. Upon entering the room I am mediately went to the restroom, because that's what you do after a long day and long drive...there was dried urine on the seat. I told the front desk about it and left for half an hour figuring they would have it cleaned by the time I got back. But, they did not! I started to put my things away, assuming they would be in eventually… I just discovered more filth everywhere. The dishes and pots and pans are thrown in a box with some newspaper, there is stuff in the bed that I am not even sure what it is, the dishwasher is disgusting and the ice bucket has a layer of...disgusting. After working out of town and driving back, I've already had a 17 hour day and I just want to kick back and relax! Sadly, the lotion is already used as well.

Location along the river was beautiful but trains run at night so its noisy. Attempted to provide breakfast during pandemic was very good. Bag breakfast included yogurt, muffin, apple slices, granola bar, microwavable mini quiches. Coffee available all day. Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We had to make a quick decision to return to Canada and was lucky to find a room at this hotel. The lady at the front desk named Kathy did an incredible job. 3 of us waiting to check in and a number of phone calls while we waited. She handled everything very well and remained in control and calm in a challenging situation. Later I came down for some advice to find food and she had some great recommendations and directions to make it easy. A bag breakfast for when we left early in the morning was a very nice touch. Hope to be back under better circumstances.

Hotel check in staff, appearance, quality, cleanliness, checkout, and even though their morning breakfast offer dining room was closed, they still had a bagged breakfast to go. I will be planning to stay at this Hotel in my future travels.

Had to make a quick return to Canada due to the pandemic and stayed at this hotel with a great location along the river walk. Staff were very accommodating and had made up pre-packaged breakfast bags for all the guests as their continental breakfast area was closed to the public.
