We stopped overnight at this Best Western and were mainly pleased with it. We had a roomy suite with a comfortable king bed and had a good nights rest. The breakfast was quite good and the staff very efficient. I downgraded one star because the toilet would run without constant jiggling as the plumbing inside it needed to be replaced.
This hotel is opposite the downtown area. A one minute walk to the most delicious little Mexican restaurant and an easy walk across the bridge into town. This hotel also had brand new Frigidaire air conditioning units which were whisper quiet and appreciated for a good nights sleep!
My family of four stayed here for a friend's wedding last month - along with most of the wedding party and guests. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, the rooms clean and well stocked, and the pool and hot tub were a huge hit. If I am back in this area again, I will definitely stay here.
Nice clean hotel with large rooms - stayed 3 people in room 107 (two queen beds). The beds are good. Large room - Frigede, coffee maker, table and 2 chairs. Very Friendly staff. Breakfest is included??and fine.
Typical friendly and clean Best Western right off the I5 at Rouge River. Two stories with good wifi and TVs as you would expect in all the rooms. There is an included free buffet breakfast. More than continental but nothing extravagant. Biscuits and Gravy seemed to be present each day with either fried or scrambled eggs and alternating bacon or sausage. They have a waffle machine which produced decent waffles and decent coffee and all the rest. The staff was very friendly. There is only one ice machine on the first floor, so I always had to walk down stairs but this in no way bothered me but if you are older you may want to stay on the first floor (of course they have elevators). There is a lovely walking trail right along the Rouge River just across the street, so you can take advantage of that if you wish. As I was visiting my father who lived about 2 miles away this was a great base of operations and a modest price.
The room was clean and smelled fresh. Everything is in good working order. The window opened for fresh air. The prices are affordable. The breakfast is good and the coffee is good. The staff is helpful and pleasant to deal with. The river is across the street, which is not busy, and you can go walking there. There is a convenience store right next door.
We traveled up to grants pass to see the area, and visit family. The hotel had a nice breakfast. The walls seemed to be super thin, so you could hear other guest walk down the hall. On the last night that we stayed, we ordered pizza. The staff of the hotel let us use the dining room to eat in!
Everything about this BW makes it one of my favorite places to stay when traveling in this area, the staff are always friendly, the beds are firm, and it is right across the street from a beautiful walking path.
This is nice hotel with very friendly staff and a good location to explore the area. The rooms are quite large and the beds were comfortable. We had two good nights sleep and there is a pool to cool down in. There is a free breakfast which is adequate. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance and some reasonable bars. We would recommend both Mexicans and try the Cattlemans for a drink !
Traveling with an elderly woman who uses a wheelchair is not the easiest thing to do, but the staff at this Best Western made sure we had everything we needed and was totally comfortable. The location is beautiful and the rooms were everything we had hoped for. Can't say enough about our wonderful stay there.
Clean hotel very near I-5 freeway access. Free breakfast with excellent, out of the ordinary free breakfast. Rooms clean, beds sagged in both sides. Pets allowed. Friendly staff. Excellent location for all that Rogue River offers.
Great little hotel off the freeway close to the river. Nice Mexican restaurant across the street with good food and reasonable prices. Rooms have USB outlets and freezer compartment in the fridge, both of which we find very useful. Good water pressure and forceful shower head. Rouge River have highly chlorinated drinking water so bring bottled. Breakfast was typical with sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, and scrambled fake eggs. Plenty of seating area. The only negative is with the city of Rouge River in that the homeless have taken over the beautiful river walk and picnic area. We started to walk the trail but turned around, very disappointing. Overall this hotel is a good location and all priced.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. Had my dog with me and they are pet friendly with a doggie gift bag. Nice area to walk with my dog. The rooms are more sound proof than many. Restful sleep and stay.
We always stay here on road trips heading back from Seattle. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Very clean and staff is accommodating. There's a great Mexican restaurant across the parking lot and fuel and grocery store are just across the highway. The GM Brian is always very friendly and accommodating. Nancy provides a decent breakfast and great conversation to get your day going. A friendly place indeed.
Driving from Rohnert Park, CA to Seattle. We always try to stay at Best Westerns but had never stayed her before. I made a reservation the day before for a king suite. Check in was a breeze and the room was ready. I commend Kassey, the front desk clerk for her efficiency and friendliness. She is a benefit to the organization. The room was great. The hotel was quiet, clean and extremely comfortable. We had a great night sleep, very quiet and peaceful. Good selection of channels on the TV.I had an opportunity to talk with the GM Brian, upon checking out in the. He was friendly and answered all of my questions. A great little breakfast with delicious sausage. They set a standard for Best Western Plus. We will stay here again.
Loved our room, very clean. Very spacious very pretty Nice kitchen. With table and chairs. Beautiful counter tops, well supplied Very clean. Sweet staff on check in too! We will definitely stay here again!! You should plan on staying here when you can!
Checked in late night. Brian was extremely helpful. We were able to use the lower price I found online, no problem. In the morning, Nancy had breakfast going. She had everything well stocked, very clean and helped make me waffles. Both Brian and Nancy were quite informative about the local attractions as well as offering general knowledge as to each town. (we're here to look at property to buy to relocate). The rooms here are great. Bed is very comfortable. Room also has a comfy chair with hassock. A desk. A refrigerator and microwave. TV. Little coffee pot. Iron and blow dryer. A very clean bathroom with tub. Outside has hot tub and pool. There are also upgraded rooms available as well. We stayed in a room with a kingsized bed, so, it was just a basic room. Freshly painted and very clean. Stayed two nights.
The BW Inn at the Rogue Near Grants Pass is an excellent motel at a reasonable rate. The service is exceptional We would like to mention Kate, kassie, and Evan in reception as well as Amy for Breakfast and Robin, Heather and Cindy in housekeeping as well as the maintenance Man Bill. The cleanliness is of the upmost highest quality. I have never viewed such a clear and spotless pool in my seventy years of existence. The food at breakfast time has so many choices from waffles to eggs, cereal, toast, yogurt , biscuits and gravy as well as a meat choice of the day of either sausage links, patties or bacon . They have assorted beverages and I have gotten coffee at many various times of the day and night. I would like to mention that an outstanding business is contingent upon the leadership provided to that business. Brian as General Manager can be proud of his staff and for the quality of his property at the Inn at Rogue River.
Stayed here New Years. Kate was beyond wonderful. Showed up after a not so great experience in Medford Best Western. She saved the day. Kate was fast, efficient and charming. Everything one would want in a service industry. She moved the room closer to the hot tub. Offered help with bags, had a recommendation for dinner that was SPOT ON. She is the type of employee that a business is lucky to have! The room was nice. Comfy beds and pillows. The lighting in the bathroom was odd. Dim at best? Hot water, clean bathroom. Great and well stocked breakfast. I would recommend anytime.
First let's be clear about one thing: There are no 4 or 5 star hotels near Grant's Pass. This hotel gets 3 stars on many sites; my rating compares it to other similar hotels. It's truly excellent! It's in a quiet location, 6 miles south of Grant's Pass and one block from the Rogue River. The staff members are friendly and efficient. The included breakfast has scrambled eggs and meat, fresh fruit, breads and cereals. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. We liked the fact that the toilet and tub were in a separate room from the sink and makeup area. The bed was comfortable; we had a good 9 hour sleep. There are extra plugs in all the lamp bases and 2 USB charging ports by the bed. There's a fridge and microwave and a nice quiet heating system. The internet is free and fast. We stay at this hotel every time we are in Grant's Pass and will continue to do so. By the way, we paid $74 plus tax for one night in a standard room.
We just finished a two week stay at this very fine hotel. If you are ever in this area or even as far as Medford, Oregon. It is worth the extra minutes to stay in this hotel that provides excellent service and meets the needs of every guest that is there.
Very quiet, friendly staff, great breakfast! The Mexican restaurant next door was a plus!! Great food and friendly people. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were clean and quiet. The front desk friendly also.
This was the first time we had stayed with Best Western with our pets and it was great. They even gave us a pet care package with poop bags and treats. It was very sweet of them. The rooms are clean and perfect for humans and pets. The staff were great and the breakfast was hot and yummy. We will stay there again.
The hotel is very nice. Room was clean and quiet. It was a pet friendly room because I travel with service dogs. There were many travelers with dogs while I was there. Breakfast was good. Always had hot water for showers/baths. My only problem was I had some Christmas gifts hidden under one of the beds. They went missing while there during my first visit. They claim they were never found in the room but I brought them in and didn't take them out.
The Best Western Inn at the Rouge in Grants Pass Oregon, or Rogue River City, as it is sometimes referenced, is a fine hotel destination. The hotel interior is warm and inviting. The location is right off Interstate 5, but you feel like you are a million miles way in a secluded river setting. The staff is friendly and caring. Definitely a great place to stay!
Although the price initially seemed a little high, the inclusion of the services made the hotel very reasonable. We had spent the previous night at a different hotel, which was less expensive, but which had no pool or breakfast. Adding a hot breakfast made the Best Western actually less expensive than other hotels when you consider the cost of breakfast for three people.
Good value, quite location, super staff, we will be back. We love this location near the Rogue River in the small town of Rogue River. It is listed as Grants Pass, but is out side of town. We stay here when we have to fly out of Medford.
Heather Cindy robin Magen amber Evan Jamie Renee all did beyond their needs to To make me feel welcome help me book check into and leave my room thank you for the great night to relax thank you best western
It's super clean. Very quiet. The breakfast bar is always great. And above and beyond - the staff is always there to help, with anything you need. Especially Brian, Kate, And Kassie. Just an outstanding place ... Period
The reception staff is extremely helpful, explaining the areas in the hotel, showing us 2 comparable units, giving us the low down on the restaurants in the very small town of Rogue river and assisting in other ways. Our stay was excellent and on the way out we got a bonus for our next stay which we will use next year.
Pleasantly surprised. Expecting a continental breakfast, but it was actually pretty substantial. Staff were super friendly. We appreciated the hot tub, after a long day of skiing at Crater Lake. Room was clean, and best of all- I got the first solid night of sleep on our trip, as they don't use strong smelling cleaners that trigger my asthma. Big thanks to them for that! Tip: check out the excellent taqueria that's almost next door. Definitely worth a visit.
This is the best and pretty much the only place to stay right in Rogue River. It's just across the river from the town of RR so you can just walk, technically the city is Grants Pass but trust me you are in Rogue River. I love this hotel, they have a great breakfast, comfy beds and super nice art work of the city's sights in the halls and the rooms. the poll is a nice treat in the summer when it's 100 degrees too!
We've stayed at the Best Western Inn at Rogue River, Oregon, several times now and plan to stay there each time we travel through that area. We like the fact that there are very nice pet rooms. Everything was perfect!
My wife and I travel frequently to visit family and friends, and always choose a Best Western. This one is one of our favorites! The lobby is clean and inviting, with a cozy set-up if you want to just sit and relax. There's a free-to-guests computer in the lobby, and free wi-fi in the guest rooms. Rooms are always clean and well-supplied with the amenities, and breakfast is delicious. The staff is professional, courteous, and always friendly. Conveniently located to restaurants, banks, and other shopping needs. Absolutely a fantastic deal!
Beautiful hotel, but they never seem to remember to get my wake up call put thru. This has happened 2x Breakfast is great and the rooms are always clean and quiet. I don't think they forgot to wake me up on purpose.
I had good initial impressions. The hotel was clean and staff was great. The room was good too, until I sat on the bed. It was lumpy, hard, and not level odd enough. I took out my iPhone because I thought I was crazy and sure enough I was right. If the point is to find a nice place to get some sleep I cannot recommend this place. Unfortunately, several people in my group all agreed. We started by talking about how we got poor sleep and eventually all agreed the lumpy, uncomfortable bed was the issue. I've never experienced that before in a hotel.
Best Western Inn at the Rogue in Grants Pass is a nice place to stay when in the area. Entire hotel is very clean, comfortable rooms and beds. The breakfast room is very pleasant with nice options for breakfast. They even offer gluten free/allergy options on request. Staff is very friendly and helpful
This hotel was a bit older, but the rooms have been renovated and they are very clean. There was a slightly musty smell but room overall was satisfactory. Brady, the check in clerk was very helpful and directed us to a great place to eat. Breakfast was ok- not outstanding.
Loved the location and Staff. Quiet, serene area just far enough away from the Interstate to escape the road noise while still being easy on / off. Great breakfast buffet. Our new "home away from home" when visiting Grants Pass.
The Best Western on tbe Rogue River in OR is a very nice place to say. The location is terrific. Local restaurants are OK and both Grants Pass and Medford are reasonably close with many things go do and many restaurants to choose from.
This is a very nice hotel, had no problems whatsoever. Nice location and easy to find from I-5. Rooms are clean and if you use a "Do not disturb" sign, the housekeeping team leaves you a little note telling you that they respect your sign and if you need fresh towels to let the front desk know.
I stay at this hotel many times, its very clean, quiet and professionally managed. I find when you stay at some hotels you get to know the staff pretty well and you can tell that the staff really cares about the product they put out. They run a great hotel, great location (right on the Rogue river) perfect setting and great breakfast.
Arrived late, left early. Linens were clean, rooms were nice and neat. Allowed pets, which was nice and they had a designated pet area outside! Breakfast hot and cold continental- standard across many hotels! Older building but room had been updated. Bed was comfortable 3.8 stars. Probably will stay here again when visiting Grants Pass!
We have stayed here on several occasions and typically have no complaints. This time we checked in and went to our room on the ground floor, it was clean but there was a strong urine odor. My husband went to the front desk where they switched our room. We went in to the second room , it was clean, but the tile in the entry seemed sticky. I went to use the microwave and the door was dirty and thought they needed to clean that. Went to sit in the chair and it was as if food exploded on it, found that a bit gross. The next morning I got up and saw a little bug crawling on the floor, which turned into a line of little bugs--ants, what I thought seemed sticky obviously was something not cleaned up. I do like this hotel and this is the first time we have had any complaints. As I said they did move us right away, but perhaps a look at cleaning is in order. They are a pet friendly location and on all previous stays have been clean, and no odor in the rooms so I would say this visit was not the norm. I will stay again.
Clean hotel located right off the freeway. Beds were comfy, room was clean. Internet worked very well. Rooms were quieter than most hotels. We did not hear our neighbors, but you could hear a little highway noise. Not bad though. Complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage etc. Staff was friendly. Great Mexican restaurant next door. Dog friendly hotel, all rooms accessed by interior corridors, ran into some not so friendly dogs in the hallway. 2 stories, no elevator but staff available to help if you need it.
A good location for our exploration of the area but limited access to restaurants or shops. Our room, 122, was well maintained and had a good selection of facilities although unusually for this trip had no complimentary water. We did try to walk into town to eat but unfortunately it was closed!
Great little Best Western in rogue River, Oregon. The hotel is across the street from the Rogue River. Clean, quiet, good beds rooms, Just outside the little town of Rogue River, made a nice stop over for a quick trip to Medford from the Oregon Coast.
We enjoy our stays at your hotel every time we travel south. Your rooms are always clean and quite. The staff is always very happy and helpful. Easy exit from the freeway and good restaurants close by.Overall this is a very nice place to stay. Would recommend it to anyone.
A Quiet , clean hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The wifi internet is easy to use. The HD TV had all the channels you could probably want. It is conveniently located just across the Rogue River from downtown and just off Interstate 5
Best western is a great hotel if you're looking for just a stop, sleep, shower, and go. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. We will always stay at Best Western if we're on a trip that's all about driving and not staying!
Best Western Inn at the Rogue has nice, bright, clean rooms right in beautiful Rogue River. The breakfast is great - a buffet of hot and cold items served on real plates with real flatware. This hotel has a friendly, helpful staff and is in the best location to visit Rogue River.
This property is in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. Prices are very fair. The location is excellent and the Mexican restaurant next door has great Mexican food. Great night's rest in a very good Best Western hotel.
Very nice BW. Great front desk staff, clean and quiet rooms, and an excellent breakfast which was included at the restaurant that is connected to their hotel. Also, very convenient access from the freeway.
We arrived at this beautiful hotel, looking to book into our rooms. Apparently the company we booked through made an error and only booked two people per room. Evan, the front desk rep, was extremely gracious and accommodating. He put us completely at ease and very capably took care of us. The hotel is so lovely...clean, modern, amazing service and so comfortable. Sooo happy to be able to rest here tonight with our family in this stunning Oregon location! Thank you, Evan, for making all the difference for us!
Excellent stay experience at Best Western, Rogue River. Great location, appearance, cleanliness and very amicable staff who goes above and beyond their duties. Hot breakfast options could be better for Vegetarian/Vegan choices.
Quality and a Most Relaxing Stay. This hotel is a hidden gem! The location is hidden off the road and surrounded by a beautiful park setting and the Rogue River. The hotel staff is friendly and exceptional - eager to make this a quality stay for you. Enjoy!
stay here and enjoy rogue river as a base for the local wine country,,very pleasant and helpful front desk ( Kate and Kassie) .good spacious rooms and a great breakfast to set you up for the day...across the carpark to a good mexican bar/restaurant charming owner......scenery great....you won't go wrong see pic don't know who the swimmers are!!!!
Paula was amazing getting us checked into this gorgeous place considering we were walk ins with no booking. Rooms were clean and the stay here is worth it just for the scenery alone!! Gorgeous river walking distance from the hotel, and a great price (especially if you have AAA) to top it all off. Kate checked us out in the morning and we will definitely be back for a longer trip in the future!
It is not a luxury hotel but it was a nice place to stay on our US tour. It was also very pleasant to be able to swim outdoors. Raiden on the front desk was very helpful. We ate across the parking lot at the Mexican place which was tasty.
The Best Western at Rogue River is a favorite getaway for me. It offers a pool, fitness center, wifi and internet, and is just across the river from the little town of Rogue River. I eat at Bee Gees Restaurant and love shopping at the Pharmacy, just behind the restaurant. It's like an old time department store. The town offers other interesting venues, as well.
This has been the best hotel I have stayed in on this trip. It lacked nothing, and everything was as it should be from the fabulous breakfasts to the cleanliness of everything, and the friendliness of all the staff.
O.K. ...My wife loves coffee in bed, And I have to roast it before we step out of the house and onto an airplane. Though 5 star is great, not for roads trips thanks... Best Western is consistent and this place is a better than average BW hotel. The front desk are Oregon friendly, as are the cleaning staff. Though dinning in the area is sparse, it suits the midway point and the price point between Grand Pass and Medford. And there is no traffic around. Good for wine tours in that sense.
I've stayed here 4 times this year with my dogs and have been extremely pleased with the accommodations and the friendliness of the staff. I would be happy to recommend this Best Western to all my friends, especially my friends with dogs.
Staying here for a couple of nights on the way to see Crater Lake. This is a comfortable hotel with friendly staff and good large clean rooms. Rooms have all the usual amenities (except a safe), aircon is effective and not too noisy. The complimentary breakfast is a nice bonus and is very adequate. There are several restaurants in town across the bridge about a quarter to a half mile away which you will need as the hotel does not offer dinner - unless of course you like Mexican food in which case there is a place next door!
Well run facility. Front desk staff (e.g., Kate and others) were excellent - friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel was incredibly clean (lobby, room, breakfast area, pool area, etc.). Good variety of hot and cold items for breakfast. Kudos to the Management and the staff for such an excellent job and thank you for our enjoyable stay.
This property will definitely be on our list for next time. The rooms are very well appointed. All of the staff are very accommodating. The breakfast has quite a few choices, to please any palate. We recommend this to other travellers.
Had a good stay , great location. Nice Mexican restaurant right next door . Beds are alittle hard is my only complaint . Very easy to get to. Stayed in the pet room which was nice had no carpet on floors .
We look for hotels that will provide ease to the community and a quiet location. This hotel met our expectations. the community was small and charming. The hotel staff was gracious and gave several recommendations for dinner options. We enjoyed the Paisano's recommendation. We enjoyed our stay. We would definitely come back if in the area!
Clean, comfortable, friendly and affordable. Nothing fancy, but we weren't looking for ambiance here. For a place to stay on the way to our destination, it was great. Good service, decent breakfast and a short walk to the river and bike trail, too.
Made our reservation online. We were minutes away. We literally showered , watched a rerun of Forrest Gump and were asleep by 10:30. It is nothing fancy. But for a hundred $$, it got the job done. Breakfast: cold scrambled eggs, terrible sausage. So I opted for a yogurt, Raisin Bran and lots of water. Again, it got the job done. Staff was very friendly!
This is a nice quiet , clean, place to stay. Great staff who are very helpful. Location is great right next to the Rogue River. we have stayed here on previous occasions and will continue to use this hotel when visiting Oregon. The Mexican restaurant within walking distance has great food.
This particular Best Western is the best one we've encountered so far (we are frequent Best Westerners). When we arrived we realized that we booked the wrong dates. Was that an issue with them? Absolutely not. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was good, well staffed and very clean. Kudos especially to Paula Turley (I hope I didn't massacre that spelling) at the front desk who made us feel as if we were checking into a 5-star luxury hotel. Not only did she accommodate us in spite of our booking error, but she was so very welcoming and professional. She gave us a great restaurant recommendation (River's Edge), and even called to make a reservation for us. All this at a Best Western. Totally impressed and will stay there again when we are next in the area. You rock Paula! I hope to see you again on our next visit.
A great place to stay, very good room, great staff, good breakfast, helpful. My husband dropped a hearing aid outside the entry; the staff found it and is sending back to us. Great service. We have stayed there a number of times and plan to continue to do so.
Best hotel we've stayed in for the money. Have received much less for much more money at other hotels. The town of Rogue River is so quaint and peaceful. The location of this hotel makes for easy access to Grants Pass and Medford.
Great nights sleep, excellent staff, breakfast was very nice, the staff on arrival were very accommodating and helpful, we would stay again in the future the pool was also very nice outdoor with jacuzzi
We had a great stay on our stopover from San Francisco to Seattle. Hotel is great. Food and gas nearby. We will stay again if down this way. Check in and check out easy. Rooms clean and comfortable and breakfast is served.
Clean, friendly and comfortably situated across the street from the Rogue River. Traveled with both my dogs and boy oh boy talk about pet friendly!! The staff loves animals and made sure to make extra bacon and sausage so they could have left overs for the dogs.
Great location, staff very helpful and sincere. Rooms and hotel very clean, located steps from the river. Recommended the mexican restaurant next door and it was excellent. Located right off freeway but not close enough to hear it.
comfortable, clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff. hotel is well situated to freeway without freeway noise. Would have been nice to have a nightstand for each of the two of us, but upgraded decor eliminated a second nightstand requiring one of us to get up at night if a glass of water is needed.
This Best Western is better than the most recent Best Western Plus where we stayed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The amenities were reasonable. The room had two queen beds, a small table for the laptop, several lamps, A smaller than average sized flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, a coffee maker and a microwave oven. Each bed had three pillows. There is a good free breakfast and the parking is also free.
This hotel is a little jewel. Sparkly clean and comfortable. The location is between Grants Pass and Medford so I could use it as a central base for business meetings in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they genuinely made you feel like a welcomed guest when you arrived. As an added bonus, the Rogue River is just across the street! The front desk suggested a wonderful family-style Mexican Tacqueria restaurant a short walk from the hotel. It was fantastic - we ate there both nights! (There is an awesome salsa bar!) This was my first stay at this particular hotel but the next time my travels take me to Southern Oregon, I will definitely stay here again.
The putter appearance is very simple and parking was a little confusing. Other than that the inside was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. Location is great and not too far from Grants Pass.
A good BW hotel with a very friendly and skilled staff. All request and questions were met qualified, fast and with a smile. Rogue River is a good stop-over and a good stop when visiting e.g. Crater Lake, as we did (1½ hour drive to the rim of Crater Lake).
My wife and I stayed at six different hotels over a ten-day road trip. We had the best overall experience at this hotel. The premises are clean and well-maintained. The staff are very friendly, down-to-earth, genuinely caring, and helpful. It is apparent that they enjoy their jobs.
My wife and I have stayed at this Best Western several times during our visits to the Rogue Valley. It's not fancy but the rooms are clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly and the location is convenient. Also, the room prices are quite reasonable. Breakfast is ok but not a strong point.
The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The towels were a nice quality. Glasses instead of paper cups, as I like it. Selection of pillows. Appliances worked. Ice machine was easily accessible. There was a park on the Rogue river, right across the street. This hotel had the friendliest employees I have ever encountered at as hotel. We were greeted every time we were passed and with a smile and a genuine friendliness. The breakfast was better than average. LOVED this experience. Will stay here again if we go back to this area.
I have stayed here a few times over the years and it just gets better and better. Rooms are large and clean, pool was warm, staff was friendly, my dog is welcome, breakfast was as good as you get at a roadside diner (good enough), and located across the street from the Rogue River. About half way between San Francisco Bay and Seattle so it makes for a welcoming break. I'll be back.
When we got to Grants Pass, we had been on our amazing road trip for 21 days! It was a pleasure to stay there, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the help offered by the staff. While we were nearing the end of our trip, and were a bit tired, our stay revived us! Thanks to the staff of Inn at the Rogue!!
Right across from Rogue river, just south of Grant's Pass. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Paula recommended a restaurant and even called in reservations for us. Breakfast was constantly being refilled and kept full. Not much in the immediate area, you have to drive a few miles into town for restaurants.
Everything about this Inn especially when it comes to Service and Pleasantries is superb. Clean, comfortable beds, food presentation at breakfast, the nice attitudes of its personnel and of course when you leave - you will be rested. There are negatives - just two: lots of spaces to park, but away from the front door and not well lite. Night people looking to take are happy to see "NO to LITTLE Lighting & Security around the Hotel". Aside from that - you will want to come to stay at this Best Western Hotel. Not just once - but again & again. Some nice people work at this facility.
This might be the only decent place in Rogue River to stay, but that doesn't mean the hotel rests on it laurels. The room we stayed in was spacious and fully appointed, and the beds comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast is included, and for American tastes it's probably quite adequate. For foreign visitors it's, well, somewhat foreign. It would be worth getting a room on the upper floor (first or second depending on which country you're from). A heavy-footed overhead made things rattle in our room.
I am so glad I chose this hotel rather than the one a few miles down the road, it was a realy nice setting and location in the cute town of rogue river Oregon. my girls enjoyed the pool and hot tub a lot, it was a clean and quaint motel with friendly staff, I would stay there again and again!!
All employees were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and all amenities were available (coffee maker, shampoos (etc). Air conditioner worked very well! I would totally stay there again if the need arose. I'd recommend anyone stay there, too. Easy freeway access and gas station close by.
This was our first visit to the area on our way back to our home in Northern CA. with our positive past stays at Best Western Hotels, we picked this motel and were not disappointed! I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in visiting this lovely location.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. From the minute you walk into the lobby you are greeted by employees that obviously enjoy their jobs. The rooms are clean along with the rest of the hotel. The breakfast is served hot and plenty of it, even the coffee is great. The breakfast staff led by Lucia ensure you will start your off right. This is our second stay and we will stay again when we come through.
Friendly, efficient staff. Quiet, well-maintained property with comfortable, nicely-furnished and well-maintained rooms. AND at breakfast we were treated to real metal flatware and porcelain plates/bowls/mugs! What a treat since hate to use disposal items. Great experience and we plan to stay again whenever we travel to Oregon.
Very quiet and nice, near the river, away from the city noise. Helpful at the desk. Very clean, with great amenities . Comfortable accommodations. Had glass and cups in the room, NOT plastic, like most.
BW doesn't disappoint!! Nice comfy clean rooms, great breakfast bar and the customer service was great! No elevator and my hubby has some difficulty with stairs, The desk clerk helped us carry bags up to our room ( she volunteered to help) and upon check out a really nice maintence/custodian guy helped us carry bags down. I think his name was Jeremy. It was such a nice experience to have great customer service! Thx BW this is why we are loyal BE customers!
This is the 3rd year in a row at this hotel. All security features worked and building is in very good repair. Breakfast was presented well and kept full and at the correct temp. Choice of real dishes and utensils , beside paper/plastic is nice. Room was clean and a quite quiet ac unit, that actually held a reasonable temp. All staff were very polite and helpful.
Rooms are spacious and clean! The Staff was helpful and hospitable. The Breakfast was hearty over all exceeded our expectations. The bedding was too hard for our liking but that is just us!!!! Near shopping, dinning and river very nice.
As always, Best Western is it reliable place to stay. Was here for rafting and zip lighting and was very happy to have this cool comfortable room to come back to you. The staff was very accommodating him and I would recommend this to anyone
very accommodating with our group of 4. Kept all rooms together and very comfy and clean.. What a beautiful place to stay and very reasonable. Had a nice pool and hot tub, good breakfast, and close to all our attractions during our stay
This is an old hotel that hasn't been updated much since I stayed here 20+ years ago as a kid. It's now just a low-to-middle-end Best Western. This was the second Best Western for this trip, and it was much worse than the first. It's clean, there's nothing specifically wrong with it, it's just a little below average. If you're just staying for a night while passing through, and it is a good deal for that night, there's nothing wrong with staying here.
This hotel has excellent rates, a super serving staff, great food, a clean and well organized hotel with a clean pool, clean grounds. The staff is very professional and go out of their way to accommodate all visitors. This is our second year coming here and we will be back again next year. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable.
The pool was warm and clean with ample size pool towels. Loungers and the hot tub were also great. the staff was friendly and knowledgable of the area. My room was clean and comfortable. The wifi was fast. The gift shop had great beverage choices and hats and t-shirts
What a lovely surprise this Best Western is! Wonderful staff, clean rooms, the river and trails are a fabulous addition! Way above expectations and will stay again when we are in the area! Thank you for a pleasant comfortable stay.
Room was clean and staff were super helpful and friendly. Nice walk down to the river and breakfast was good with very clean breakfast room. Would love to go back to this town and hotel. The rooms have fridges and microwave which is nice when on a long road trip.
This hotel was a gem of a find in the Rogue River area. The staff was amazing and extremely friendly and courteous. Christina was so helpful and just positive in every way. She made us feel right at home. This by far one of the most dog friendly hotels we've stayed at. The location was perfect for our three-day excursion along the Rogue River which was a jump-off point for many of the fun activities we we had planned. The value was well worth the stay as well. Rooms were clean, housekeeping was attentive, pool was well-kept, and the breakfast was good as well. We would highly recommend this place and it's top on our list of return venues.
Over the years, we have stayed at several hotels in Grant's Pass. The BW Inn at the Rogue is not only THE best hotel in Grant's Pass, but also one of the best hotels we have stayed at within this category of hotels. The staff was AMAZING! After a looooooong drive on a very hot Sunday, we arrived exhausted and were immediately greeted with understanding and compassion by Kate. Note...there is NO ELEVATOR in this 2 story hotel. Thankfully, we were placed in a first floor room because we had 2 weeks worth of luggage. We don't like first floor rooms (the noise is always a problem) and were very nervous about overhead foot traffic. No problem in spite of a hotel full of guests. The rooms were very quiet and we never head a peep from any of the guests or staff. The beds were comfortable, the room was a nice size for 3 adults and we loved the fact that the vanity was located outside the bathroom so people could get ready while one person showered. Everything was exceptionally clean. The "complimentary" morning breakfast had a wide variety of choices including cereal make your own waffles, Chobani yogurt, toast, some fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and other various items. I would consider it an above average offering for a hotel. Ate breakfast by the pool while a young family enjoyed a morning swim. Very clean and inviting area. The hotel is located across from a park and the Rogue River. We took a walk there after eating dinner at the FABULOUS Mexican restaurant located within a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Upon check-out, Kate (the same Kate who had been there the night before), Paula and Kassie took a few moments to chat with us and bid us farewell. We greatly appreciated how friendly and caring all of the staff treated us and the others we watched them encounter. Side note...on this same vacation, we spent the night at a Best Western PLUS in Kent, WA. It was almost $100 more per night than the Rogue Inn and not nearly as nice. If you are in the Grant's Pass area and need a place to stay, our family HIGHLY suggests this BW.
We stayed one night on the way to WA. The staff was super sweet and helpful. Carried our bags upstairs (there is no elevator) and gave our dog a cookie! There is a nice park right across the street that is perfect to watch the river and let the dog run for a bit. Would not hesitate to stay here again
Fabulous staff and very clean hotel. Stayed 2 nights with exceptional service from the staff. No elevator but a very short walk up. Offered to carry our bags. Not necessary. Breakfast is good with a variety of choices suitable for everyone. Close to restaurants and a great walking trail after a long day in the car. Definitely would stay again.
I've probably stayed in a few hundred Best Western hotels around the country and I think this one is one of the best. Excellent and helpful check-in staff who gave a great Mexican restaurant recommendation which was outstanding. Very clean room on the first floor and it was very quiet and the hotel was completely full on a Saturday night. This stay was for only one night as we were on a road trip to the Napa Valley, but I would stay here again without question. Highly recommended!
I came in ready for a nice stay and unfortunately caught a bad cold leaving me with a fever and feeling pretty bad. I only wanted to sleep. The room they had for me was upstairs. There is no elevator and two flights of stairs when I was dragging wasn't something I looked forward to. The two ladies behind the desk noticed and offered a downstairs suite to help out. Amazing attention and wow was I thankful. Room clean, good breakfast. Can't sing their praises enough for what they did.
The location is beautiful. The service is great. They have a pool and a weight room. The breakfast didn't have the healthful options I would have liked, and the coffee wasn't great, but overall it was a good place to stay.
I was here as part of a reunion, and found the staff to be very welcoming, particularly Kate at the front desk. She was there when we checked in and out, and was very helpful. Comfortable and spacious room, nice breakfast in the morning. Plenty of parking and a quick walk to shops etc. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.
I was quoted $80 per night. Becuz I have AAA, Best Western Rewards, and multiple rooms. I made reservations in March. Office claimed that the petson working there, did not take into acct the special event wkend. I was expecting them to honor the quote. They took my credit card number by phone. And it was given in good faith. I reserved 3 rooms fir 2 nights. Then I pd for another room for friends who forgot their credit cards, and live in Wash State. Richard and Debbie Hatch in room 107. None of us recd the price quote that was given.
Brian P, General Manager at Best Western Inn at the Rogue, responded to this review
Thank you staying at the Inn at the Rogue. I would like to apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the room rates. The weekend you reserved is a special event weekend, as the Rooster Crow is held annually in the town of Rogue River. No discounts are offered during this weekend; however staff did mistakenly quote you a discounted rate in which we honored on all of your party's rooms. Again, we regret this miscommunication and any inconvenience it caused. The management and staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue.
This hotel is without a doubt one of the cleanest and most comfortable I have stayed in. It is top of the line. The beds are extremely comfortable, not too hard and not too soft. The continental breakfast had an excellent selection and was very tasty. It is offered from 6:30 to 10 and they keep bringing a good supply up to the end. The rooms seem to be recently upgraded and they are very quiet. It is located across the street from the Rogue River. We.will definitely be going back when our travels bring us to this area again.
We did not know what to expect when we arrived in Rogue River, Oregon for our nights stay. Boy, we were very impressed. Although we arrived later in the day, the hotel staff were friendly, the room was roomy and very clean. The only drawback was that we could not get delivery of food from the local restaurants at the time of day we arrived. Not the hotel's fault. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast was delicious too.
Our room at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue was very clean & comfortable. We stayed 6 days and were able to feet at home immediately—the staff was welcoming and very helpful. Getting up in the morning and enjoying a complimentary breakfast before we set out on our adventures was another plus. On days where the thermostat crept toward ninety the pool was so refreshing. The next time we are in this area we plan to stay here again, for sure.
Great property....clean, good location, ...everything you'd expect from a BW. The people make it great! Brian Paine, in particular, made our stay much more enjoyable with helpful hints and willingness to assist us in any way possible. Although there is no elevator in this property, Brian provided help transporting our cases of wine up and down from the second floor. It was also nice to be remembered and recognized each time we entered.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were on the first floor and overall the hotel is quiet. Breakfast was good, real plates and coffee cups not Styrofoam, nice touch. Across the street from the river, makes for a nice close place to walk the dog. Overall nice place and would stay there again.
This location is not a place you would want to stay if you want to get a good nights sleep. We stayed there to check out the areas around it for a possible move to Oregon. The small town is a little quaint across the bridge, but the Motel is nothing to be desired.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Inn at the Rogue. On behalf of our entire team, we would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Our staff here at Best Western “Inn at the Rogue” strives to provide excellent service and are sorry your experience with us was not up to those standards. The Rogue Valley does have quite a bit to offer with the river just across the street. There is excellent fishing, rafting and boating nearby. We hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience. The management and staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. Manager Brian Paine was super helpful, cordial, and accommodating, in sorting out a reservation issue (not of his or the hotel's making). He and the folks at reception made us feel quite welcome. It was a great stay and we would recommend this hotel to all who pass through.
We stayed at this hotel on a road trip through Oregon. We were particularly impressed with it because, unlike many places, this one offered a comfortable couch in the room along with adequate lighting so that we could read in the room. The staff were attentive and helpful and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat dinner. If you want to stay there, though, you should be aware that even though the address is in Grants Pass, the hotel is located very close to the exit for Rogue River.
We stayed at the Inn in April and appreciated the handycap facilities in the room. The grabbars were where they should be, making access to shower and toilet easy. Most places we stayed at had them any which way, but not where they were of use.
We stayed for 2 nights at the Inn at The Rogue. Room was small but comfortable and clean. Had queen beds that were also comfortable (firm beds with pillow top). Staff was friendly. Breakfast was standard BW - always good, not fancy. Note: outdoor pool - could not use because the weather was too cold, though it was June. Liked the setting on the Rogue river. If you are a fisherman, it is ideal.
We checked in very late and had the best night's sleep on their plush mattresses. The rooms are very quiet, clean and comfortable. We had 2 queen beds and had lots of space, did not feel crammed into the room. Breakfast was fresh, hot and had some of the best pastries-not your usual grocery store/Costco selection. Will stay here again! Easy access to the Interstate, wonderful park along the river to walk the dogs.
Had a wonderful suite upgrade just because of my point status. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The full breakfast was outstanding, There was an attendent who kept everything full and clean.. A wonderful experience
Have stayed at Best Westerns fore years and this location was below standards. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty and heavily stained. Pillows old, lumpy and hard. The upholstered chairs also need to be cleaned. The rest of the room was pleasant. Had issues with the free full hot breakfast, had to request refills on the hot items and bread selection. The waitperson was not having a good day and all of us trying to enjoy the start of the day did notice. I did bring these issues to the attention of the gentleman at the check out desk.
clean, comfortable, friendly staff ,referred to good restaurant spent one night on our way back from a trip to California.Very interesting town would like to spend a couple of days exploring the area. There is available jet boat trips and white water rafting for the adventurous types!
We stay there at least twice a year. They do everything they can to make your stay comfortable & are accommodating to your needs. Big shout out to Brian & Paula for being so helpful & nice. The breakfast is very good & I absolutely love their coffee. The rooms are clean & the beds are comfortable. See you guys again when we visit our parents in Rogue River! You have become our home away from home!! Thank you soooo much!
Was a very nice Best Western. Wish we would have had more time to stay, and use the amenities. But we were inroute to another place. Will definitely put this on the list to stay at again in the future when we visit the area.
I was traveling with my dog, and they have specific rooms for pets. My room didn't have carpeting, which I really like, because pet rooms with carpet can be really smelly. The room was very clean, with nice amenities. Even though the hotel was full, it was so quiet! I really appreciate this, because I'm a light sleeper.
We came upon this hotel quite by chance after an enforced 200 mile diversion, and were made most welcome by the friendly staff. The hotel is situated close to the river itself, and within a few minutes walk across the bridge from the town centre. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the hot breakfast excellent.
Excellent night's sleep Quiet location Rooms recently refurbished but no new construction odors at all Good restaurants nearby Clean and upscale furnishings This is our hotel of choice in the Grants Pass area
I'm pretty picky when it comes to hotels & this hotel although older was very clean, quiet, it had nice comfortable beds, a nice breakfast bar. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. I seriously have no complaints & would not hesitate to stay there again.
Great place to stay with your dog. There is a Grassy area for your Dog just outside the buildings door for late night early morning Dog business. Great small park just across street with river access so your dog can play in it, you can also put Boat. Try the Mexican restaurant next to hotel its a Great place to eat
We stay at this hotel to visit friends that live nearby. It is really the only hotel in this area. The rooms are nice, roomy and newly refurbished. The breakfast is fine with quite a few options to choose from. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice and we heard that the kids loved it.
The staff was excellent and courteous,, conducted themselves in a professional manner,, we experienced a booking-problem the manager on duty fix the problem immediately without any excuses. Our housekeeper Jordan was very professional and accommodating to any of our request.
The Hotel is located across the street from a park and the Rogue River. The hotel provides easy access to highway 5 and they across the river from the town of Rogue River. Beautiful Quiet location. The Hotel is small but still has all the amenities for an enjoyable trip.
We have stayed here before and find it clean, quiet, and comfortable. Excellent staff. A convenient little store next door. They offer a free breakfast as well. We live in the next town and when our AC has failed in summer we stay here on the warm nights. I like the fact it is not over run by noisy unsupervised kids.
Nice friendly staff. Hotel has recently been renovated, rooms are clean. Very little noise during the night. Easy access to freeway and located in a beautiful town. Water pressure in shower is only issue I had during our last stay. Local restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel.
Overall this is a very nice property but I am highly recommending this motel based on the quality of their pet rooms. The room we had was exceptionally clean and pleasant, so much so that I could not tell that it was a pet room at all. The staff were all friendly and accommodating and the breakfast above average.
This is a very nice Best Western property. Rooms were already very nice - clean; comfortable bed; no mystery odors - and they were updating with new furniture while I was there. All staff were helpful and friendly during my stay, but it was what happened after my stay that was even more exceptional. I left an expensive piece of equipment behind and didn't notice it until I got a call from staff. Brian very carefully packaged it and sent it to me. This equipment has some fragile pieces and I was concerned about it arriving intact. Not to worry. Brian nestled each piece in protective "bubbles". Over decades of traveling for work I have occasionally left things behind. This is only the 2nd time I recovered the lost item. It is the first time a hotel has contacted me about an item and to have them handle it so carefully - well, I will figure out a way to come back just for fun. I recommend Paisano's Italian Kitchen in Rogue River for lunch or dinner. It just gets better and better and it was wonderful to start with.
Despite the zipcode, this hotel is located 10 miles south of Grants Pass in the village of Rogue River. That may not matter to you if you're traveling Interstate 5 and just want an excellent place to drop anchor for the night for a reasonable price. On the other hand, if you are going to Grants Pass, and have business in the town itself, understand that you will drive 10 miles to get there. All that being said, the reviews don't lie. This is a nice place. I strongly suggest you eat dinner at Piasanos wihich is a half mile walk into town. Trust me: after a long day of driving the walk to and from the restaurant feels really good.
When being greeted by two funny and cheerful ladies like Paula and kassie it makes the rest of the stay that much better. Pool is a little small but perfect for your kids and warm. Hot tub is in the perfect location. Would like an outside shower to counter the high chlorine in the pool, could put it in the corner by the hot tub.
Stayed at Best Western Inn at the Rogue for 2 nights whilst on a coach trip with other couples. The allocated room on the ground floor was comfortable as were the beds. Free breakfast was also on offer. Recommended
The Best Western Inn at the Rogue was a nice hotel. No free breakfast, but they do have a restaurant attached for meals. The rooms were clean, and smelled fresh. I was worried about highway noise, but it never bothered me. The only complaint I have, mold in the bathtub area. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, across the beautiful Rogue River.
Kate at the front desk is amazing. I have traveled for both work and pleasure and have stayed in several 5 star hotels. I have never received the amazing service Kate provides everyone I've stayed in Rogue River. She goes way above and beyond for every guest. Best Western in Rogue River is clean, quiet, and extremely comfortable at such a reasonable price. I highly recommend Best Western in Rogue River Oregon.
This is a great place to stay. Good location, friendly staff and very clean rooms. I have stayed here many times and have always been satisfied. I often have my dogs with me and the proximity to walking trails and a meadow makes for easy exercise.
The staff was always available to assist us with requests. The room was very comfortable and clean. Great location, near the river. We stayed for two nights and we will return to the Best Western Inn at the Rogue the next time we visit Grants Pass. My sister also had a room there and she was very happy. The breakfast was nice too!
We stayed April 29-May 1, 2017. The room was outdated, but CLEAN. It also had carpet, which is a negative. The bed was very comfortable, not super hard but not too soft either. The shower and toilet are in a separate room, but the sink is in the main sleeping area, which is not always convenient. A large refrigerator and microwave were provided in the room, as well as a coffee pot. We've stayed here before and were confident that we would be happy with the decision.
My first impression when walking in to the lobby was very positive. The staff was friendly and checking in was easy. The room was a bit on the small size for two queen beds. Instead of a desk it had a small table and two chairs. The room was quite clean. Had a good sized fridge. The microwave was small. Lots of TV channels including all of the HBO channels. Lots of accessible outlets. The only real downside to the room was the noise. Being an older hotel there was not much in the way of soundproofing. I did not eat breakfast but I did notice the breakfast room had real dishes and real high quality flatware. The pool was located outside, Appeared to be plenty of parking. However if you are towing a trailer it might be tight. All in all this place went the extra mile to make it a good place to stay. Rather than cut corners to save a little money they went ahead and spent the money on the extras that make it a nicer place to stay. It is a good location whether you are just stopping for the night or spending several days exploring the Rogue River area.
If you are looking for a comfort stay and exceptional customer service from ALL the staff, this is the place to stay. From the minute we walked in to the lobby, though there were two people in front of us, we were warmly greeted. The housekeeping staff the next morning were so cheerful, you would want to join them just to share their joy. The breakfast staff attentive and ready to ensure you got a good hot breakfast. Looking forward to staying there again and exploring the town.
We make an annual "trek" to visit with friends and family as well as a stay at the "family farmhouse" in WI. We go through many states to visit those we are close to. We always try to make it a point to visit Best Western Inn at the Rogue, Grants Pass, OR as well as a stop at Yaks Restaurant in Dunsmire, CA. This makes our trip most memorable and we feel at home and special. After a trip this year of 9,666.6 miles this year this was truly appreciated :-)
This was one of four BW's we stayed in along our way on our on trip. This hotel was renovating the lower level of the building so we stayed on the second floor. The hotel does not have an elevator. That said, the stay was great. Pleasant reservation staff, large room with spotless bathroom and comfy beds. Very quiet as hotel is located away from the freeway. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Nice spot for what we were needing. Simple, clean, wifi was nice given the spotty reception in the area. Mini fridge in room was nice and handy, good standard breakfast complimentary. There wasn't a lot immediately nearby the hotel, but there was a nice river walk out front.
I have used this Best Western before and came back to it. If you want to go out to dine, you will either have to settle for a small Mexican restaurant nearby or drive into town a few miles away. Fortunately, a decent free breakfast is available onsite. Rooms are very good, and I have never had any difficulties with the staff. I am rating sleep quality down a bit only for this trip, as fumes from remodeling were strong in my room.
Check in was fast and efficient, rooms are very clean. Continental breakfast is served in the morning with 4 different choices of coffee. Hotel comes with a microwave, refrigerator, personal coffee maker, iron and ironing board in the room and a blow dryer.
Nice Best Western, close to I-5 on the Rogue River, walking path across the bridge. Nice to have a place to walk after a long drive. Clean and comfy hotel. Nestled in the woods by the river, some highway traffic noise, but not bad.
Very nice Best Western. Great location off of I-5. Easy to find, but far enough away from the freeway that you hear no noise. It's very clean, they take a pet, and there's the usual BW breakfast. Friendly, efficient staff. I stayed here to check out the hotel as we will be staying here in September when we do a tour with our old cars.
We showed up on a Friday around 3pm to check in for a two night stay. The internet was not working, wireless or hard wired on the guest computer. The hotel staff said they would look into it but no one seemed that concerned. I felt like they were just waiting for it to fix itself. We don't have smart phones with data so we rely on wireless internet. Having it not working during our whole stay was very disappointing. Other than the internet issue, the staff was very nice and helpful, I would rate them a 5. The room was nice and clean, the heater in the room worked and was not loud. The TV had lots of good channels to choose from. The breakfast was average, but not bad. And I liked the fact that the hotel was out of the way. No elevator to the second floor that I saw, but I am sure you could get a first floor room if you cant use the stairs. Overall a decent hotel but I wished the wireless internet was working!
Only misses an excellent rating because a bit near the main road, so road noise is a minor issue. Very welcoming and efficient staff, especially Kate on reception. She gave us good local information and took the trouble to check my BW points .. I had left my card at home. Great breakfast.
Any time we are traveling through Oregon to California we make a stop here. Always welcoming, good breakfast and we can bring our two little dogs!! Convenient, easy parking, staff are always helpful and interested in what we need.
Came down to Rogue River for a family visit. Staff was super helpful & friendly even though we did not have a reservation and needed a room last minute. The hotel accepts pets. Hot breakfast was good & there was a great selection even though we ate very close to the 10 a.m. cutoff for breakfast. I'd certainly stay there again if I'm in the area
We've stayed here twice now, and have been very pleased. Access from Hwy 5 is easy; the rooms are clean, with comfortable furniture, good heat/cooling;free breakfast with a good selection. The desk people are all friendly and very helpful with restaurant suggestions, etc. Be sure to check out the river walk that's just across the bridge -- especially nice after a long drive on 5.
Recently stayed an evening at the Best Western at Rogue River in Oregon. We were delighted with the room all fresh and looked brand new. Everything in the room was picture perfect. The receptionist was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast provided was the best we had on our entire trip and the help (Eileen) made us feel right at home. I will highly recommend this to all. What a great experience. Thank You!
Very nice hotel with excellent service. Breakfast area was nice and had a very welcoming atmosphere. This was one of the nicest hotels that we stayed at on our 14 day road trip across the western United States. Highly recommend to others.
Had extreme rain in the pass and decided to find a BW sooner than Salem. Rolled in visibly drenched as a solo rider (aka: motorcyclist) and they welcomed me with a $135 room. When I said I'd move on to Grants Pass they came up with a $100 room. Ordered in a pizza and bought their onsite beer ($4.50 a can!) while waiting by laundry drying my clothes ($2.00 a load!). They weren't going to let me park the bike under the front awning (out of the driving rain) until I said I would have to move on to Grants Pass because my harley will not start the next morning after a night in the elements. Faced with me moving on, the conceded. The room was fine, but byob and because there's no nearby decent restaurants, plan to eat first.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Inn at the Rogue. On behalf of our entire team, we would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. We regret the misunderstanding when you arrived. We had noticed you were tired and wet from the road and thought a large room with a Jacuzzi tub might be just the thing for you. We are sorry you felt we were trying to take advantage of you, but this was not our intention. As for restaurants in the area, there are some very good ones just across the river, in the town of Rogue River. Pisano's for Italian is one of our guest's favorites, as well as Tarasco's for Mexican. We hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience. The management and staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. Stayed in room 216 on 10/21-23/2016. First day come into room and wife noticed a Dirty pair of Sock that were left behind!! Day 2 come back to room after being out for several hours at around 6-ish pm Garbage was not Emptied:(( That final night got up to use Restroom could not go back to sleep, because Paper Thin Walls, TV Cranked Up Loud and Noisy, Ignorant, and Disrespectful neighbors in room 218!! Tried to be Patient and waited for a while to see if Noise would Possibly die down but, No Joy!! Called Front Desk at around 4am guy at Front Desk said, "No Problem, I will handle it Sir" only to find that he basically Blew Me Off and did nothing to Rectify Problem!! I Definitely Do Not Recommend this Armpit of a Hotel!! No Way!! PS: Had a Death in the Family.

My son turned 15 and since our home is too small to have people over we rented a room at the Inn at the Rouge and the room was large enough to keep 4 teenage boys and myself uncramped and with the amenities I was able to keep them pretty well entertained. It was great not having to cook breakfast for a group of teen boys and they really thought it was cool to have so many choices.
Checked in last night was greeted by what didn't feel like home it felt more like they just didn't want to deal with us. came down for breakfast and it was amazing needed help from front desk this morning with my reservation and Amanda was great!! So friendly helpful and was right on top of her game she is definitely a best western addition!! The room is nice no highway noise which was very pleasant thank you for a wonderful stay!
very clean--food was hot and clean--good choice to stay for fun and work... the staff checks to see that you are a guest and not a stranger.. the rooms are very clean... nice space...there is a pool, hot tub and exercise room. they are close to Medford and Grants Pass and right by the river..Easy freeway access.
We felt we were given a very sparsely furnished room with the carpet removed and only the barest of necessities because we had a 7# chihuahua dog. Our previous several stays at this motel were the exact opposite. If you don't want pets here make it a no pet policy, but please don't lower your superior Best Western standards.
This is a quaint hotel. It is really clean and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I work out of town often and I will always stay at the Rogue Inn whenever I am in this area.
It's near the freeway but across the river from it, so though it was easy to get to and from, I didn't hear the freeway noise at all. Don't know if the room above us was occupied or not, but I didn't hear anyone up there either. Bed was comfy, room clean and well appointed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast room was well managed, with a good variety of breakfast food.
This is the second time we have stayed here. This is a VERY (yes, I used capitals) nice property. Very clean, very bright, very quiet. Very comfortable bed, very thick towels. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean grounds. Wide halls. There is no elevator to 2nd floor. Pool and hot tub are outdoors. The breakfast consists of waffles (regular and the sweet batter), biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries, bagels and bread. Cereal (4 choices), oatmeal, yoghurt, fruit (apples, oranges & bananas), ice water, juice (apple & orange), coffee, tea. And you can use the usual paper plates/bowls and plastic utensils OR use real plates, bowls, cups, glasses and silverware!
We like this place for visits between Grants Pass and Rogue River. Easy parking, very nice hot waffle breakfast and comfy beds. They are friendly and helpful and it's a quiet scenic area with very easy access on and off the freeway.
Convenient stop off of the N/S I-5 in Oregon. Usually preferring a stop in Ashland, they were full and we headed north and were pleased with this stop near Grant's Pass. Located close to the Interstate and just across the bridge from the town. Several restaurants close and a good Mexican in walking distance. The hotel was clean, the breakfast OK and they have a pool and a fitness center. Not a bad stop.
I had booked this hotel based on reviews I read and I wasn't disappointed. I absolutely loved that the hotel was so clean. The people were nice and they serves breakfast. Someone said it was really good. I'd say it's standard fare. Good enough for sure but basic. I liked the small touches like glasses instead of plastic cups and the housekeeper folding the towels in shapes, little things. One review I read said the pool was a disappointment. It had a pool and a hot tub. I don't really know how a pool can be disappointing. If I can swim in it, it's good to me! It was clean as well. It's easy to find and if you are not familiar with the area, that's important. I have my own rating system that I call the sock test. 3 pairs of socks on your feet is really bad and down the line. I was okay with walking sock-less and I don't do that often in a motel. I would definitely book again.
Lost in the dark, being blinded by headlights, ended up the Best Western Inn of the Rogue. WOW! We couldn't have found a better place to stay. Exceptional service and a friendly, pleasant attitude from every member of the staff with whom we came in contact. Although visible from the freeway, the room was quiet. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding with a large variety of choices including waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits and gravy in addition to cold cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, juice, etc.
Nicest Best Western I have stayed in as far as cleanliness, friendliness. Seems to be newly remodeled rooms, very tasteful. Staff was 10+++. We arrived after a long drive, very tired . Staff insisted on helping with luggage . They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Although we often travel with our RV, sometimes we leave the RV parked and just go with the suitcases. When visiting the Medford/Grants Pass area, we stay at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful. We recommend this location for your next visit, or traveling through the area.
Location, facility and staff made my business trip great! I stay at this hotel every time I have business in the area and will in the future. The convenience, room cleanliness and cleaning staff are very good!
I find Best Westerns solid in general, but this inn was by far the *best* Best Western I've ever stayed at. Well maintained and run, with staff that was unfailingly upbeat and friendly and responsive. This franchise should be a model for other Best Western inns, not to mention motels in other chains. We stayed for three nights and it was a pleasure, from check-in to check-out.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the BW Rogue. Location is approximately 10-minute drive from Grants Pass area (take 99 from hotel to Grants Pass). Easy access to the river, right across street to beautiful park and the river. Hotel Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Hot Breakfast is served with eggs, biscuits with sausage gravy, fruit, cereal , etc. - just about everything needed for great beginning. Small, but adequate, pool area. Terrific parking and fairly quiet except for the close proximity of I-5. I suggest an upper floor (no elevator) as only negative was poor sound insulation. My room was downstairs and had heavy herd of buffalo above me (LOL). Close-by Mexican restaurant (walking distance) which was terrific. I would also recommend the River's Edge restaurant (on 99 toward Grants Pass). A little pricey but you will be amazed with food and location. Should I return to this area I would definitely stay at this Best Western.
Met by very welcoming and friendly staff two hours before check in time and were given our room straight away. A very relaxing well appointed room. We were given a map with directions into town, and also a map of California and Navada for our onward journey. The swimming pool and spa were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very well presented and of a high standard.
Upon arriving at the hotel, the first room we checked into was very dirty and had an offensive odor. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room. The second room was marginally better than the first. However, it was was late and we decided to stay. After cleaning many items in the room and spraying air freshener, we managed to make a rather unpleasant stay into a tolerable one. On a positive note, the location was good and the breakfast buffet was good.

The hotel needs some renovations but overall it is a nice facility. The breakfast was substantial and good for a hotel. The service was very accommodating and attending to our needs. This is the best and only choice if needing to be near Rogue River, OR.
We arrived and were greeted with smiles. Checkin was very helpful. The rooms were very clean. Free breakfast was great. The Rogue River area is a nice area. Stay here if you are in this area. One of the best hotels in the area. Much nicer than the Best Western that is in the city of Grant's Pass!
This hotel was in a great location for exploring the area. The Rogue River is right across the street, Grants Pass is nearby, and many wineries are near. It was a little close to I-5, and we could hear the road noise. Otherwise, our room was very comfortable, and the staff at the hotel were great. There was plenty of free parking, and the complimentary breakfast was above average. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the TV had a large selection of channels.
The listing shows the following address: 8959 Rogue River Highway, Grants Pass (Oregon), OR 97527. The truth is that it is in the city of Rogue River, several miles down the 5 freeway. When I arrived at the Best Western in Grants Pass I was informed that my reservations were in Rogue River, and the clerk advised that this happens all the time, and "somehow they got a Grants Pass zip code, even they are in Rogue River." The desk clerk in Rogue River also confirmed that this happens a lot. THEY KNOW ABOUT IT AND THEY DON'T CORRECT IT!!! Rather than being literally across the street from my family, I was down the road several miles, and missed out on opportunities to spend time with them. Additionally, the pool in Rogue River is plain and boring, and not nearly as nice as the one in Grants Pass. When selecting the Best Western I specifically looked at the pool, as I wanted to spend lots of time there, with the pretty trees.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We would like to apologize for the confusion regarding our location and certainly understand your frustration. We have addressed this issue with the city of Rogue River and found that addresses are determined by the post office and they assign addresses. We are listed in the zoning for Grants Pass and that is the reason we have a Grants Pass address. We are very sorry for the confusion, and hope you will consider staying with us again in the future. The Management and Staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. Brian Paine [email protected] 541-582-2200
Staff very friendly and nice. Room had a little bit of a cold feel because of not having any rugs or carpets. However, that also made it cleaner. Internet connection could be stronger/faster. Breakfast was good. Beautiful setting. Overall, very good place to stay. Also allowed our small dog! Always a plus.
This is one of the nicer BW hotels we've stayed at. The room was huge and I liked that it wasn't carpeted (however, that is probably why it was noisy above us; I would recommend a room on the 2nd floor). The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. The breakfast was very nice also. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
My only regret is that the world's best pie shop, which had been located nearby, has closed. That would have made it pure nirvana! The grounds and maintenance of the facility made this an exceptionally relaxing and refreshing stay, much more than ordinary. Staff and management were all helpful, neat in appearance, and friendly.
We had a three night stay in this property at the end of August. As it was the #2 property on Trip Advisor, I booked it without hesitation. Initial impressions were the property is about 8 miles East of Grants Pass right off the I-5 freeway. Not a whole lot around the property, but I guess that is a positive depending on how you view it. Staff was friendly and we were given a second floor room (202). None of the rooms have a view of much other than the parking lot. I believe two of them actually have balcony's that overlook the pool area (small) but other than that there is not much to look at. Property does not have an elevator so request a 1st floor room if you do not like or cannot use stairs. Room was clean with somewhat older furniture, newer flat screen TV on a stand with the basic assortment of channels. Beds were very firm and I suspect they were new or brand new. If you don't like firm ones, you might want to ask to see if they have older ones or ones that are less firm. Vanity is outside of the shower/toilet area which we prefer for this size room as it allows one to use the shower or toilet while another one is not getting steamed out of the bathrooms at the same time. The bathroom vanity was a newer one with a larger countertop with a single sink. It also doubled as a coffee station. There was a small microwave and fridge on the ground in the corner of the room. HVAC unit is the typical wall unit, but looked to be a newer one and worked well even on 90+ degree days. Room was clean with the normal assortment of towels, ironing board, iron and a hair dryer as well. The free breakfast is what you would expect from any other property of this type. Our only issue with our stay came on the first day. We left early after checking in the night before and returned to our room to find that my wife's cell phone charger was missing. I also found out later that a pair of Nike Elite socks were also missing. We, in 17+ years of travel together have never, never allowed housekeeping to enter our room. This time they did, even thought the DND sign was place on the handle which someone must have removed. My wife inquired at the desk to find out why our room was cleaned and to find out what housekeeping did with the charger as we did not suspect (at that time) of any foul play. The front desk said they would check with the house keeper that cleaned our room and get back to us. Forward to the next afternoon when we returned. My wife again asked the assistant manager about the issue. She said that she or someone else spoke with the housekeeping and they did not have the charger and did not know what else to say. My wife pressed the issue to find out why out room was cleaned in the first place and why our belongings were missing. She did not have an answer for that and proceeded to tell my wife that maybe we misplaced the charger or left it someplace else. IE: trying to deflect blame back on us. My wife assured the manager that we had done nothing of the sort and felt insulted that the manager would suggest that after our room had been entered by their staff that there was NO possibility that someone could have taken the changer, even if on accident. Here is where the story gets interesting. The following morning my wife spoke to a housekeeper in the hall to see if they knew anything about the missing charger and if they could help track it down. The person told my wife they they were filling in for someone and it was not their normal job. After that conversation ended, my wife went back to the front desk to see if they had found a solution (replacement of refund) and told them that she had spoke to the person cleaning upstairs. The person at the front desk said my wife had just spoken to the HEAD of housekeeping. Nothing like being lied to by the person in charge of people going in to your room everyday. In the end, the GM gave up their personal charger to make things right. I did not find out about the socks until after we got home. I guess I will refrain from staying at this property every again and probably not at this flag again if their customer service people like to lie and cover up for others bad actions.
We have been here before! We stopped in Grants Pass to do the Hellgate Jetboat again! Prices are okay. Easy to find off the highway. We asked for a first floor as there is no elevator. The room is updated mixed with older stuff. There is a refrigerator and microwave. The front desk employees were very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean! I was woken up at 5 am hearing the shower in another room. They had a full breakfast and it was very good. We would stay here again.
We have been a fan of Best Western since our stay in Shelby MT (Shelby MT BW sets the standard for all other BW's for us) 2 years ago. This is a great lil' hotel, however it's in a very questionable area. When I had taken the dog out to do his business around a 10:00 pm, an officer pulled up & told me I'd be seeing a lot him during the night as he patrols the area throughout the night due to the rampant drug problem in the area. Aside from that, everything else was fine. Super Friendly, courteous staff. Great Room. Great with our dog!!!!
A nice hotel with easy access to I-5. The rooms are tastefully furnished, the bed comfy and the staff friendly. My only complaint is that the tv aspect ratio was wrong and there was no fixing it. However, aside from that, everything was excellent.
I was on my way to San Diego and stopped here for the night. The hotel staff were friendly and my room was clean an well appointed. I had breakfast in the morning, it was good and included biscuits and gravy as well as sausage. The scenery here is really nice and the hotel is right on the Rogue River. I would also recommend the Mexican restaurant about a block away.
This is a small town out side grants pass and has an excellent Best Western for business or family. The River is just across the street with a park. There is a Mexican Restaurant that makes good food for a Great Price. The Hotel has everything needed without a lot of extras. Good Breakfast and Clean rooms
Professional, welcoming and friendly. Room was large and quite comfortable. Pool was wonderfully clear and right temperature as very hot day in Rogue River. Cookies at night are a nice touch. A wonderful recommendation for a small true Italian Restaurant, quite small but or so good! Room surroundings comfortable along with a comfortable bed and very quite. Excellent morning breakfast and ample for those that might have a larger appetite. We give this a 100% recommendation.
We highly recommend this hotel. It is situated in a secluded and quiet location. Very clean and spacious rooms. Full hot breakfast. Friendly and accommodating staff. Walk to park and Rogue River. Restaurants and shopping in walking distance.
Stopped here for one night on a big road trip. What a pleasant surprise! Exceptionally clean, and so quiet. The pool is clean and awesome. Our kids loved it. Breakfast was better than any other free hotel breakfast... Same general foods, but it was clean and well kept, and they had real plates and silverware. Real plates! That I could not believe. I highly recommend this place. Thanks!
We stopped overnight at this Best Western after calling and talking to the friendly staff person (Paula) to see if a room was available. The room was clean and comfortable and all of the staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and included eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles and more! We would ask for a non-adjoining room next time as we felt that sound travelled more easily between the rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to get some new pillows; they were quite lumpy :)
Check in was super quick and easy with Gemsy and Mackenzie there. They were very polite and professional. The lobby is beautiful and our room was more than expected. Clean and cool when we arrive in the 110 degree weather. Wonderfully clean with every convenience including a small charger on the desk with 2 outlets and 2 USB charging outlets. Even the microwave had 2 outlets on it for ease of use. I would highly recommend staying here!
I liked this hotel way better then most of the Best Westerns, for the price and quality this is worth your money and time very nice rooms and staff. it has a great location easy to get to and from. It sets right across from the Rogue River which from my room was a great view of the river to look at and watch. its a lot cleaner and nicer then the Best Western up the road in Grants Pass, so if you can stay here at this one.
Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly and offered to assist with our bags. Lots of smiles and a great attitude by all. The hotel was very clean, quiet and the bed was the best we had in a week of traveling. We would stay there again without hesitation. There is a nice little park across the street from the hotel, right on the river.
In Grants Pass for family business and needed a place for four nights. We got a multi-night discount. That and the fabulous breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy, fresh-made waffles, etc.) made it a great bargain. Best Westerns have really stepped up its game; the rooms are modern, clean, and well-appointed (ours included a microwave and fridge). Conveniently located right off I-5 right on the river about 8 miles from the center of town. Friendly, helpful staff. Two-story but no elevator. However, the staff will cheerfully help you with your luggage.
Nice clean rooms. Great continental breakfast like most best western's have. Helpful staff even with late checkin. Would stay again. Wish we had a day to explore, will do so next time. Door handle hard to use, but issue was resolved by staff.
We now stay in this hotel when in the Grants Pass area. The staff are consistently friendly, the rooms consistently clean and neat, and the location convenient to I-5. And it's quiet -- better insulated than many similar motels. Plus we enjoy the park across the street with the Rogue River flowing through it!
This property is right off I-5 for easy accessibility. The room I was in was spotless and quiet. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good as well. I'd stay at this place again if I was in the area..
Whether you're passing through on I-5 or checking out the sights and activities in nearby Grants Pass, this is lodging that I would definitely recommend. It's a nice yet convenient distance from I-5 and very little (if any) night-time noise from Rogue River Hwy. The reception staff is very friendly, the cleaning staff did a great job on our room and the continental breakfast had a very nice selection which varied a bit each morning. The pool area was very well kept as well. Very enjoyable three-night stay!
clean and care to pool and spa area. Pet friendly so be prepared for noise. Barking dogs was not my idea of a comfortable rest. We reported this to the front desk and they just apologized. I understand about pet friendly but would not have booked here even tho I love dogs and have one as they do not monitor them.
If you are traveling to this area this is the place to stay. Very accomodating staff, good breakfast and just across the street from the Rogue River. Very relaxing. The town is quaint however does not offer much if you are looking for other type of activities. Great area to just look around. Be aware Oregon is Mary Jane legal and there are grow farms every where.
Pretty much what you would expect. Nice and clean and the WiFi worked. Loved that it was just a cross the street from the Rogue River so it was fun to walk over with my dog to give him a swim on a warm day. Very nice dispensery right next door if you are into that.
Air CoolingSystem very noisy. Dog in next room yelping and barking ! This was one of the worst nights stay anywhere which offered airconditioned rooms in a country setting. Its a place that caters to people with dogs.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Thank you for bringing the A/C unit to our attention, which we did have replaced that day. We do have policies for guests that bring their pets, which states guest cannot leave their pets unattended in their room. Unfortunately some guest choose not to follow the policies, we did try to contact the guest and were unable to reach them. This is not a common occurrence, most of our guests that travel with their pets are very mindful of other guests. I hope that you will consider staying with us again so that we can have another chance to provide you with a superior experience. The management and staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. This is about our 10th- 12th stay at this location. The manager Brian and ALL of his staff continue to provide SUPERIOR customer service. ALL of the staff which includes housekeeping, maintenance and food service are ALWAYS friendly and continue to ask if they can help you in anyway. Smiles are always on their faces and they ALL work so hard!! On July 25, there was a large group that filled the breakfast room and was quite hungry! Breakfast food continued to be placed out for all by the young lady without issues. She worked VERY hard to make sure all were fed and full! She continued to smile and be very helpful to all. Thank you for your hard work and serving all of them. After the crowd was gone, she continued to make sure we all had what we needed... and continued to provide her excellent service. I am so sorry I forgot her name. She needs to be recognized for sure!! The entire inn is immaculate. Housekeeping /maintenance staff work very hard in keeping the inn in excellent shape and o take pride in doing so. Desk staff will always make sure to you are pleased with your room and always are there to meet any needs you may have. They are seemed so sincere! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU AT THE BEST WESTERN INN AT THE ROGUE!! Corporate office.. take note of this staff and manager and recognize them please!!!
3rd. stay for same purpose, will use again next year. The property was well kept, in good repair, and all safety features functioned. Breakfast was well stocked, fresh and a good variety. Did not use pool but it was crystal clear so it should have been good, deck around pool was clean and in very good repair. Very little "water noise" in AM, room to room was quieter than most. It is not a take away but they do not have an elevator.
Great rooms, service, quality and condition of the hotel is above average. I would definitely stay there again in the future. Plus it's the only GREEN hotel in the area if that makes a difference in where you want to stay!
The inn is in very restfull and relaxing setting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommended several resturants in town to eat in. Town was within a walkable distance and the river was just across the street. I would happile recommend it to my friends and will stay here again the next time I am in the area.
Excellent staff very helpful and always smiling. Great base location for activities. Good breakfast. Had the grandchildren with us on a special weekend and this BW helped make it. Will definitely stay here again.
We stayed a couple of nights here while pursuing activities in the area (rafting) and found it be very comfortable and pretty nice amenities (pool). It is conveniently located for Grants Pass restaurants and local activities, plus short walk across the bridge to Rogue River little town. Staff is very friendly and helpful, seem to all like being there.
Hotel is nicely located next to the Rogue river and just outside of Grants Pass. Good access to I-5 and US Highway 99. Staff were attentive to our needs, making recommendations on activities and directions. Just sorry we forgot to enter stay in our Best Western membership.
We changed our plans at the last minute and ended up at BEST WESTERN Inn at the Rogue. This location was clean, had easy access, and superb customer service. Beau helped us get settled in and Quinton helped us during checkout. We got information on the wine tour they participate in and look forward to returning for this fun event!
Check in was very easy. The staff is very nice. Our Room was very nice and clean. The bathroom Is great. Plenty of hot water. Pool, spa and small workout areas very clean and nice. We were able to check in early. Breakfast was hot and there was plenty to choose from. This is a well cared for Best Western
We stayed at this hotel as they noted a pet friendly policy which we needed for this visit. Generally a decent hotel for the price with a couple of issues. First, they added $10 per night for a pet fee - I did not have a problem with this other than it was never mentioned in the reservation process even when I called to confirm the stay. Second, if you are placed on the bottom floor beware - the floors are thin and you can hear every footfall from above particularly if they place a large family above you. This staff was nice but not helpful when it came to alleviating the incessant pounding from above that went on for some time. We would likely stay again if traveling with a pet on the condition of a upper floor room but would otherwise go back to our favorite The Weasku Inn.
This is the 3rd or 4th time we have stayed here to visit friends in the area. The staff have always been helpful and pleasant. The breakfast in the morning is always fresh and well stocked. The rooms are nice and looks like newly redone. We had a trailer with and there is lots of room to park.
Nice facility located right next to the Rogue River. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Only downside is there are no elevators for the 2nd floor. Staff is willing to assist with luggage, etc., but we just asked for a room on the first floor and luckily, they were able to accommodate us. Breakfast was the usual eggs, waffles, etc, but food was good, plentiful and the area was kept clean. We've stayed here twice now and will definitely return on future trips.
The Best Western Hotel in Rogue River, Oregon is truly a little jewel. There is absolutely nothing negative that I could say about it. Over the past ten years, we've stayed there often, usually checked-in by long time staffer Paula. She, like all the staff are friendly, helpful and competent. The breakfast ends at 10AM for non-early risers and is quite plentiful and delicious. Everything is kept clean and in good working order. The beds are very comfortable, the room has plentiful coffee/tea and the bathroom is fully stocked with everything including shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. If you need more of anything, all you have to do is to ask the staff and it will promptly be delivered. As I've said, we've stayed there for years and nothing about the hotel looks or seems dated. When we travel with our two small dogs the staff always make them feel welcome and the hotel only charges a $10 pet fee per night. Right across the street is a lovely little park right on the Rogue River and the attached walking trails offer great exercise while enjoying the beautiful lush pathways and rush of the river. When we are traveling, we will always stay at this Best Western because it truly is the best in the west.
Nice and clean, spacious and functional. This was a overnight stop with some fun with Hellgate Jetboats. The breakfast was tasty, the staff nice and helpful. Decent beds. They keep with the Best Western standard which always makes for a good stay.
The entire staff is so friendly and helpful they really made our stay relaxed and enjoyable. It is a well kept property and so so clean. There was always a staff member cleaning whether it was moping the lobby, cleaning the railings on the stairway, dusting the lamps down the hall or outside areas. The staff always greeted you with a smile and a hello. The only thing I may change would be to have a softer bed. My bed was to hard for me but many other guests would prefer the firmer beds.
This BW is in a Great Location right across from the Rogue River. This is a small town with a wonderful walking trail. We traveled with our Dog and he was warmly welcomed here and given a MilkBone treat. The Breakfast was fresh and welcomed with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and waffles.
This hotel is in a great location right next to the river. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff is very informative and helpful, beautiful property. Price is a little steep for a BW but it is summer months. Would recommend this hotel
clean, nice staff, close to all amenities across the pretty bridge first time there and I will return when in the area again soon. Visit it is very cute and right off the highway. Dogs are allowed, I will bring mine next time!!!!!!!
Beautiful location, just across from a pretty park and the Rogue river. The room was exceptionally quiet for a great night's sleep. Lovely lobby, friendly reception, and a comfortable room. We definitely will stay here again when traveling along Highway 5!
Located adjacent to the Rogue River and the Depot Street arch bridge. Very nice property in quiet location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.Motorcycle friend. . . even providing hose and rags for bike cleaning.
We stayed at this hotel last year for our daughters wedding. We came this year to come for vacation and we stayed longer in part because of last years stay. This years trip was a longer and we knew we would have a comfortable bed and great service from the staff. Breakfasts were so great and we were so satisfied with the internet service offered. It was a wonderful trip because we were able to focus on our visit and had no worries Thank youl
We spent 2 nights at the Inn at the Rogue Hotel and found that the front desk staff was very helpful in finding us restaurants that were open over the 4th of July holiday. The location of the hotel was very nice as were the facilities in the hotel. Our grandchildren especially enjoyed the nice pool.
We stayed one night at this hotel on our way home from the airport in Medford. We were pleasantly surprised!! The hotel itself is older and looks a little run down on the outside but it was clean and the staff in the morning was very friendly and helpful!! Also the hotel was very quiet and there is a lovely trail along the Rogue river right next to the hotel and if we had time we would have walked on that a little further. There was a large family of geese with their little babies floating along.
I stay at this hotel a few times per year as I travel from California to Washington. The service is excellent and the rooms always clean and comfortable. Location is great for those traveling with pets. Easy access to a walking path along the river and meadow for the dogs to play.
Room was okay. Nothing great but not terrible...until I tried to sleep on the bed...felt like a concrete block! If they would get new mattresses that are more comfortable I wouldn't have any problem staying again but I will call and ask first.

Very nice, clean, convenient place to stay in Rogue River, OR on your way from Crescent City, CA to Crater Lake, OR. Easy access from I-5 freeway to Exit 44 for Crater Lake. Very helpful excellent staff. Gave us places to see on our way to Crater Lake we did not know about and LOVED when we stopped. Excellent breakfast. All in all a GREAT place to stay. I will stay again when in Rogue River, OR
Stayed one night, on a road trip. The hotel was fairly new, clean, modern and the staff was helpful. Went to the pool and hot tub which were nice. The breakfast was pretty decent. It is right off the freeway and within walking distance of a number of restaurants. Try Paisano's Italian Kitchen. Cheap, great food, unique.
Location is very close to I5 and yet serene and quiet. Hotel in very good shape and well maintained. Staff knowledgable and friendly. Good Breakfast and internet speed up to standard. Will definitely stay again. Only caveat is that it doesn't seem to have an elevator. Highly recommended.
Staff and helpful friendly. Enjoyed our stay. Will probably stay again. Recommended restaurants to us. We did go to the Mexican Restaurant recommended by the staff and were pleased with the value and quality of our meal.
This hotel has the whole package, everything was just as it should be. Normally I can find something to complain about when traveling, but I was completely happy here. Great staff. Super clean and cozy. Nice breakfast selection. Seemed like everything I could possibly need had been thought of. Nice pool/spa area. Okay, if I had to make one complaint it would be the mattress was pretty solid and hard to sleep on. Nice pillows though! Hard mattress was the ONLY thing that wasn't okay for me.
My wife and I stayed here on a trip to Oregon. The hotel is located across the bridge to The city of Rogue River. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We had a corner room with two windows and a hot tub. It was spacious and clean. We took a day trip to Crater Lake NP which is about 2 hours away. The staff was very helpful in recommending a place to eat and the town has lovely murals on several buildings.
Rouge River is a charming little town. The hotel and staff were great. Staff gave a great recommendation for dinner where the locals eat. It was awesome. The hotel was clean and pleasing upon driving up. The interior was clean as was the decor. The room was very clean and the decor again was very nice as was the bed. The internet worked very well. I will stay here again.
Just wanted a decent place for an overnight while on the road. We found it. Hotel staff at check-in recommended a restaurant just up the road for dinner. Very nice. Hotel was clean, quiet and breakfast was predictable, but complete. Wish we had more time to explore the area.
After a long travel day, It was a pleasure to find this Jewel.. The staff and facilities is exceptional and i felt secure and found much needed rest in a quality environment. I would definetly recommend this place to anyone.
This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. Comfortable beds, refridge in the room. Breakfast is good. Will come back. Very busy hotel so book ahead. Manager said there are many nights this summer they're already full.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we called for directions to there from another location they assisted and upon request suggested restaurants in the area that had good food. And they were right!! The room was clean and comfortable as usual. We've never been disappointed with Best Western rooms, and this one did not let us down. Although we only have coffee, the free breakfast is always fun too.
The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The room decor was pleasant and user friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and the river is just across the street. They even supplied a bottle opener! We will definitely stay again.
We stayed here for 1 night out of our 3 week westcoast road trip. Lovely location, comfy rooms, ok breakfast. Nothing to complain about if you're not sure whether to book... just book you won't regret.
We were exploring the Rouge River, Applegate valley and Ashland so we wanted a centrally located hotel at a reasonable price. The Best Western fit the bill. The service was exceptional. Everyone we came in contact with was helpful and friendly and went out of their way to ensure we got the most out of our visit to the area. The hotel has been recently updated with new paint, carpeting and light fixtures. The bed linen were great although the bathroom towels were not at the same level, a little tired, There was a large flat screen TV but the rest of the furniture was dated. There was a full breakfast with lots of options, free wi fi, outside pool, hot tube and workout room. Great value for the price.
This is the best room ever with or without a pet for a reasonable price. Right away when we walked in the room, I thought everything spotless. Love the vinyl floors and real wood furniture. The room was spacious and everything worked. How amazing. Have I reached 200 words yet. What's that about TA?
We stayed here one night on our way back from a one-week "roving" motorcycle vacation. We'd recommend staying here. The rooms and beds are comfy. The breakfast room is clean with a good selection of food items. And the STAFF ARE WONDERFUL! They went above and beyond to help us with directions, maps, and other info.
The new carpeting and recently remodelled room appeared A+ to us. The king-size bedroom with amenities was exceptionally clean and had upscale soap and shampoo. The bedding was lovely and room air conditioner/fan was precise in its cooling. Real utensils and plates, not plastic and paper in the well maintained breakfast room. Service was friendly and efficient. As we left a groundskeeper was blowing the parking lot clean. Altogether the best Best Western we have stayed at. Without comparison, it was elegant. We would stay here again.
motel was nice, lack of restaurants nearby. Staff & service was excellent. Convenience of ice not so much. Breakfast items were ok, but not enough room for prep for the amount of people. Parking was good.
We really only were there a short while, since we attended a friend's 50th anniversary. Exhausted when we returned to the inn, but slept soundly. Breakfast was fine, with quite a variety of cereals, yogurts, waffles (not the big size, but made in manageable quads) and of course the scambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. All in all a pleasant stay.
Tucked away from busy I-5 there is a BW that we hadn't stayed in until now. It is such a gem-great rooms with a chance to park car under your window (for those, returning from long trips, with car full of trip souvenirs that you wouldn't want to loose), great breakfast and very nice staff. They remembered me from my phone call! We will certainly return to try out 6-footer pool!
This was the third time I have stayed at the Inn. The hallmark is the over the top service. The GM personally is at the front desk during the day, and is very engaged in trying to make your stay enjoyable. All the front desk staff are knowledgeable about the area. The inn is right across the street from the Rogue River. Walking trails and the town of Rogue River are just a very short walk.
Very clean; nice and accommodating personnel; just painted and new common area carpeting; reasonably priced. We have never had a bad Best Western stay. Was just an overnight stay, but even the pool/spa looked welcoming. Recommended!
An outstanding hotel property, well worth the stay. Daily breakfast was excellent and even served the needs of a diabetic diet, which is rare. The rooms were excellent. The only negative I encountered was there were no elevators (it is only a 2 story property).
Nice hotel, upgraded and awesome pet rooms. Very quiet and in a beautiful location directly across from the Rogue River and the very nice town of Rogue River. An excellent location to decompress and slow down and enjoy the scenery.
Very nice setting. Quiet, off highway location, and a well kept Inn. Morning breakfast was very good. Nice private pool location on site. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful about site amenities and area dinning choices.
The three most important things I rate a hotel room by are: 1. bed - too firm, couldn't fall asleep 2. tub/shower/sink drains - not clogged, yay! But...leaky, noisy toilet. Boooo - another reason I couldn't fall asleep. 3. Bedding - plain, white and clean is good! Soooo, hence the meh.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a brief review and for bringing up your concerns with the noise coming from the toilet. We are so sorry and will inform maintenance and have that taken care of, so it is not an issue for your future stays. We are very sorry that you had a hard time sleeping and hope that your next stay with us is a more comfortable one. The management and staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. We weren't sure where to stay and thought "Best Western" should work! Have stayed at BW before and they have always been OK. This one is OUTSTANDING. From the time we entered until we left EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE from EVERY member of this staff! Hands down....THE BEST IN TOWN!! Clean, friendly & nice breakfast.

Thank you so much for taking the time to acknowledge our property and hard-working staff here at Best Western Inn at the Rogue. It brings us great pleasure to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We have a wonderful team of employees, and it sounds like you were able to experience that first hand! Thank you for choosing the Best Western brand and we look forward to seeing you again in the future! The management and staff at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. We have stayed at this Best Western many times and have never been disappointed! It is located in a beautiful area and the hotel is quiet and very nice to rest your head after a long day driving! The local area has a few great restaurants and the hotel is just across the street from the Rogue River for those fishermen that carry their fly rods!
Loved this Best Western! We are BW fans as they are dog friendly. The suite was very spacious, clean and reasonably priced. The people were so friendly with special thank yous to Micheala, Paula, Bo and Gesly. Even the resident cat is friendly and provided excitement and exercise for our dog. The breakfast is one of the best we have ever experienced at a BW. The location is super close and an easy walk to the Rogue River. Restaurants abound nearby within walking distance or an easy less than a mile drive into Rogue River proper. They proudly display they have been rated 9.0 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best. I would give them a 10.
We had a very nice stay at this Best Western in Rogue River. In terms of friendliness, Micheala and David were so cheerful and helpful. They made us feel like valued customers. This was the second time we have stayed there, and we definitely would stay there again!
We came across this hotel accidentally. We were driving from California to Oregon. So once we crossed the border I started looking for a reasonable place to stay for the night. This Best Western Inn at the Rogue came up so we booked it. Getting there is a treat. The drive takes you off the main highway down a lovely windy road near the river. We arrive at the hotel and are greeted by the most warm and friendly hostess, Michaela. This lovely young lady was meant for hospitality. She greeted us with all the warmth of an old friend. She was friendly and informative. Just a pleasure after a long drive. Once in our room, I was so happy to see wood flooring instead of carpet. (No allergies here) Comfortable beds. Very clean rooms. The next morning, not a continental breakfast. Nope. A full breakfast, bacon, eggs, waffles, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee... everything! I highly recommend this hotel. The only trouble that could bother some people (not us), there are only stairs to the second floor. Not a problem for us, but could be for others.
Third time here in as many years. Not only the same superb front desk service, but by at least two of the same people - and both were just as friendly, as helpful, and as nice as the last two times. So well taken care of in and out it looks like it is new, when in fact it isn't. Have seldom seen a place as neat and clean as this anywhere. Very comfy beds, very, very quiet, and smoothly functioning wall mounted air conditioner (unlike most of the clunky, thump on and off all night types in most places like this) made for a very restful nite out. Decent pricing, perfectly fine, but not luxurious, warm breakfast in a spotless area finished it off. Now, this is how to succeed in this business. Won't be the last time we'll stay there.
Went here based on previous reviews. South of grants pass by about seven miles. Rooms were clean with special remotes for the tv's that looked like we didn't need to wipe them down. Shower was updated with a nice head on a gooseneck that was above my head and the shower curtain rod that curved out giving us plenty of room. Bit of noise from the nearby freeway but not bad with the air conditioner running. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The most confusing part of the experience with this facility was the reservations, I always thought best rates were given if you called direct, when we called the clerk said to find the best rate on the Internet and they'd match it. Trip Advisor had the best rate so we just booked it with them.
Great little town on the river with several key historical point nearby. Pisano's Italian Kitchen was great place with home cooked food. Small town atmosphere with just enough services to shop local. I will be back
We stayed overnight here. The staff at check in was friendly and efficient. The room was large, clean and nice. The gentleman at the front desk recommended several restaurants in town for dinner. We ate next door at the Mexican restaurant which was very good and very inexpensive.
Rogue River is a beautiful setting and the Inn is just across the road from a park and the river. This is a dog friendly hotel and park is perfect for walking the dog and taking some time to relax next to the river. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is across the bridge from I-5 and is very quiet and easy to find. Plenty of parking. I did not stay for breakfast but there were plenty of items to take on the road.
David at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the location convenient to the rest of the Rogue Valley. Breakfast was pretty complete, with just about everything you might ask for from a free hotel breakfast (hot food in addition to the normal fare). Beds are comfortable, and the room was quiet. Overall A+.
Very pleased with the excellent customer service - from when I first called to make the reservations to check-out. Rooms were clean and nicely designed. The breakfast room offered a lot of food but I was eating light. If I return to the area, I most definitely would return. And...very pet friendly, but wish other guests would pick up after their pets.
David made our stay at the Best Western! He was extremely friendly and helpful. He even gave our dog a welcome gift - a dog biscuit. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the road. We appreciate that they are dog friendly. Our room had a tile and linoleum floor and the pet charge was only $10. There's a large grass area next to the parking lot.
We stayed one night during an early heat wave in the area. The room was nice and clean. We turned on the air conditioner when we checked in around 3 pm. It cooled for a while, but after a while only the fan worked. We had plans away from the hotel for the rest of the afternoon and early evening, so it wasn't huge deal. When we got back it had cooled down enough outside that we opened the window and it was enough to cool down the room. We both had a good night's sleep and I have to say the mattress was one of the most comfortable we've slept on in a hotel. The smoking area right at the main entrance was a bit tacky, and any non smoker wanting to sit outside to enjoy the evening has to deal with smoke. The staff was as friendly as one might expect and there were no other issues. Breakfast was as one might expect at a hotel, not outstanding, but not too bad either. We would likely stay here again if we're ever in the area.
Spent one night here while in town on business. The night receptionist, David, was awesome! Quick check-in, helpful info, and funny. Room was pretty standard, but updated and in good condition. No complaints.
David was a huge help. The service was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The hot tub was nice and warm. The pool area was clean. The breakfast was nice. The lobby was very welcoming. I was highly recommend this motel to others traveling through or staying in the area.
When we had Oregon trip, we had stayed there one night for being close the crater lake. To see over crater lake or rest in entire journey, it is a good choice. Near the I 5. Very clean room, great breakfast and convenient stuff. That was so soothing. But there is not suitable, if you dream a long vacation, there would just beaten track.
I had hoped to do some walking on the river. However, it was getting dark and rainy. So, I walked the hotel, back and forth, to get in steps. Nice long hallway. The carpet in the hall is a bit beat, but the rooms are just lovely, and quite large. They were absolutely clean, with great mattresses. Staff was very helpful. Also had a hot tub, which I enjoyed (somehow I did all the driving on this trip, and a hot tub at the end of the day sure takes the kinks out.) Breakfast was more than adequate. There were a couple of restaurants just a few blocks away over the bridge. Would stay here again!
Great little hotel to overnight in when on a road trip. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and breakfast pretty decent. Most of the staff were quite friendly, though I found the staff in the breakfast area a bit rude. I will gladly stay here again though.
David checked us in and made sure we had a great stay with his helpfulness. The motel is close to the freeway but far enough away not to hear the road noise. It was an easy off the freeway and an easy entrance back to the freeway. The places to eat close by w The Motel was clean and the breakfast was very good. were many and all seemed to be good choices. Again I must stress the help we got from David and the manager in checking in and checking out was above and beyond a normal check in or checkout.
We always use the Rogue Inn for its great staff and the rooms are always so clean, and its quiet location.Great night sleep here always. They serve a good breakfast and it starts nice and early in morning, which is really nice as we like to head out early in morning.
Pet friendly room with artificial wood floors instead of carpet (made it feel more clean). Microwave and fridge in room, beer available in lobby, all nice touches. Easy check in and check out. Quiet location
The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. A great first impression to the hotel. The room was clean and had all the accommodations listed with the hotel. The breakfast was as decent as expected. There is a nice walk path by the river to do after a long car drive.
friendly ,efficient, clean, A comfortable stop after a long day of traveling. Recommend this motel to families traveling in the beautiful area around Grant's Pass. We stayed here on return from Crater Lake.
Very clean and comfortable hotel and all the workers very sweet and welcoming just the kind of folks we need in all the hotel industry. Housekeepers smile and welcome you they make you feel very welcomed. Breakfast was excellent and well stocked and wifi was great no problems. We will definitely go back.
Very nice and ambient atmosphere. The staff is great. Nice pool and Jacuzzi. Walking distance from the park on the Rogue river. Had an amazing experience. Nicely located from all the main tourist attractions. We drove up to the African Safari on first day, the other day up to Crater Lake. Felt great taking a dip in the hot Jacuzzi after coming back all tired.
We had a great weekend. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They were able to take our bikes in and store them for us until we needed them. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Will definitely come back!
If your doing Business in Grants Pass Oregon, or just traveling for pleasure this is a great location and place to stay. It has all the amenities you'll need and is in walking distance to downtown Rogue River. Also is located next to the Rogue river for fishing, rafting and hiking. Also there are plenty of golf courses within 10 miles. When I'm doing business here in Grants Pass Or. this is my 1st choice to stay.
We stayed here one night, while traveling to northern Oregon. upon check-in, the staff was great and asked if they could help us with anything. They even gave us restaurant suggestions. Our room was clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Just what you need after a long day's drive. The property is in a quiet area, too. If we are in the area again, we will stay here.
This hotel is ideal for a short trip or passing through Oregon. No frills but clean rooms, friendly staff and you can't go wrong with a free hot breakfast in the morning. Right on the Rogue River. Shops, gas, restaurants all nearby. I'd definitely come back.
After a long two day drive, we stayed at this hotel right outside of Grants Pass. The front desk staff was amazing. Paula Turley and David Diaz were both extremely helpful, accommodating and so kind. David immediately helped carry our luggage to the room and they both continued to help with any of our questions or needs. The rooms were super clean and very updated. It even has laundry facility, in which David and Paula kindly kept us happy by offering us lemon water and good conversation while waiting. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone.
Hotel was very nice, neat, clean great location and the rates were very reasonable for just stopping in. My only comment would be the breakfast, it was very nice however very typical of a "cardboard" hotel breakfast. I compare against the Walla Walla, WA Best Western which is by far the best I have had at any Best Western in OR, WA, MT, ID, WY, CA. Best Western in Tri-Cities, WA comes in an extremely close second.
This hotel was very nice. Went for a weekend get away. We got the room with Jacuzzi in the room and it was wonderful to just relax...... The breakfast was included in our price and it was better than most continental breakfast's..
Although the weather was very disagreeable (rain, wind and snow flurries), the Staff of the Best Western Inn at the Rogue, made our visit very enjoyable. As with past stays, our room was quiet, well maintained and comfortable. We recommend this Best Western as an excellent stop for one night or several nights. You won't be disappointed.
You can always count on good consistency with Best Western. Not the very best but they are very good across the board. Had issues with Priceline.com reservations but they were very helpful in getting things straightened out. I will definitely go back to Best Western hotels because I know what to expect.
the room was very clean, the staff was awesome, there were lots of pillows and the locations was great. Beds are firm (if you like that). breakfast was good and hot. We stayed as part of a large group and they were very welcoming and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again on our next visit.
Stayed here during a brief trip. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. There is a small fridge and microwave in the room. The TV was a bit on the small side, but was a newer flat screen and had a decent picture and an O.K. selection of channels. The bed was a bit on the firm side for my taste, but overall not to bad. I was not a fan of the linens on the bed as they were quite scratchy and there was really no comforter at all. We had a bit of a noise issue as there was quite a bit of banging on the walls at around 11:30pm. We stopped the next morning for the complimentary breakfast. The food was well prepared, warm, and had a decent selection. The breakfast room was large and clean and the decor nice and airy. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I had a good night's sleep at this Best Western at a reasonable price, happy to be off the road in sloppy and nasty driving weather. The hotel is nothing special, but it is well set up for its category with great wi-fi and useful desk furniture. Also, the price was right.
Beautiful hotel. Right off the highway but quiet. Very clean and dog friendly. Confortable beds and tons of tv channels on a large screen tv. Has a nice gym, pool and hot tub and guest laundry. Good breakfast choices including waffles, scrambled eggs, pastries, cold and hot cereal, bacon or sausage. Would definitely stay here again!!

In an area known for it's lack of excellent customer service, the Inn at the Rouge's staff meets the standards expected of a major metropolitan 4 star hotel. The hotel is clean, the morning breakfast is fresh and well-prepared. Even the coffee was good. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks so much for the lovely stay!

Zach at the front desk was helpful, friendly, and professional. He gave the beginning of our stay when we checked in a very positive feeling and that positive feeling continued through the remainder of our stay. We wished we could stay longer than our one night! Room was fantastic! It even smelled fresh and clean, and indeed it was. Even the toiletry items were a huge step above what we usually find in our room. It was so great to stay somewhere that was obviously well taken care of and really clean. Would highly recommend staying there and we will certainly go back when we are in this area!

Beautiful hotel. Best staff over any Best Western we've stayed at. Great amenities! Nice pool and hot tub. Next to river. Would not stay anywhere else in Rogue River!!! Great breakfast. Close to fun activities for all ages. Would highly recommend this for families, couples or solo's.
We have stayed at The Inn at the Rogue many times while traveling between our home in Sequim, WA and the Bay Area in California. The inn is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff is friendly, and eager to assist with whatever we may need. The check out is quick. Breakfast is wholesome, the dining room is clean and kept that way. For these reasons and a few more, we will continue to stop at The Inn at the Rogue whenever we are traveling along I-5 between Washington and California. We have to make another trip to California soon, and are already booked into the inn for our overnight stop.

Stayed one night. Very friendly and efficient staff. Room was on first floor by parking, we could hear cars and people most of the night. Would ask for upper level or other side if we stay again. Rooms were very clean. Bed a little firm, but comfy. Room was good size. Had fridge, microwave, coffee pot.

The room was clean and plenty of room in the one bed room I stayed in. It was reasonable. The people very friendly. The downside is I thought from what I read that it was going to be quiet. Not really as it is located just feet about a football field away from I-5 interstate! So you know what that means. Also the directions were very misleading as to getting there. If you are coming via I-5 no problem. If you are coming over 199 from Crescent City on the coast, beware the turnoff is very poorly marked and it took me quite a while to find it, not being familiar with the town of Grants Pass. I won't stay again, because there was nothing to make me ever want to come back to this town. I need to mention the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were very fluffy and nice.

Room has everything you need for an overnight or 2. We had a queen suite which has a sofa bed also. Lots of pillows, good sheets, great towels, spotless and in great condition. On top of that, the jacuzzi is heated all winter and let's you sit outside but stay dry if it rains. Lots of outlets to charge devices, free parking, wifi and breakfast, which has lots of options. Nice touch that they use metal cutlery, not plastic and the glasses and cups are washable instead of throw away plastics. Sink is a bit weird in that it's separate and near the door. Gets crowded with personal toiletries plus coffee maker and hotel supplies. Still, well stocked supplies and nice to have glycerin soap.
After paying for a secoud night at hotel witch needed to be paid by 11am. At 115pm i was told my guest was not allowed at the motel or on property.... Confused one cause i rented room and sister met me with nephew and niece to visit and my understanding is a d.n.r. in their book is a do not rent she is not renting yes she stayed part of last night but i was not told anything till today and agreed would not let her stay the night. But the insisted on kicking all out and off property now 215pm fully out of room told no refund so screwed out of 140 cause u didnt say anything till after i pay for another night hhhmmmm. Customer service 0 help with manager contact 0 so i would say ask to run all visitors before u pay a night

We truly regret this situation, as we don't like to have guests leave the property as a DNR (Do Not Rent). However, when someone is DNR'd it means that they are not welcomed to return to the hotel, even as your guest, due to a condition of a room, or an incident that involved other guests or employees. It is true that you rented the room and you sister was not a registered guest, but stayed anyway, not being recognized by staff until the following morning. Your sister was aware of her status with our hotel and was informed of this on numerous occasions. We would like to clarify that only your sister was asked to leave the property. Unfortunately, we were unable to return payment for the second night as the room had to be put out of service due to being heavily smoked in. The staff were very helpful when I had a problem finding the place , they gave me perfect directions of how to find them. Great friendly staff and great location, would recommend to anybody that wants a clean beautiful place to stay.
Wonderful staff...was greeted with a warm breakfast and a smile from the server. Heather, our housekeeper, was all smiles and was very kind to my dog. April, the laundry lady is my favorite and most welcoming person ive met. overall it was a wonderful stay and I was happy they were so accommodating to me, my fiancé and our dog.
Always clean and friendly. Staff is always great, fast internet and easy parking. Cleanest place in town, quiet area and worth staying in RR instead of Medford. Worth every bit of the extra drive. Best Western in only 30 seconds off freeway exit in small town environment next to the river
We got this hotel on a $60 Priceline bid in December 2015. We've stayed here several times before. It's in a nice quiet location, off the highway. The rooms are large. The sink is located outside the room with the toilet and tub, -- which we like. The staff members are friendly and attentive. The free breakfast is one of the best we've encountered at any Best Western. It's a winner!
Doing frequent road trips with the dog, we've stayed at many Best Westerns because they are reliably pet-friendly. Most have been perfectly adequate, but we probably wouldn't visit again absent the Fido factor. The Inn at the Rogue, however, is definitely a cut above. We found it attractive, clean, quiet, friendly, and most relaxing after a long day of driving. It beat the Best Western Plus we stayed at the night before hands down. The details: Our room was large, nicely decorated, clean and very comfortable. The carpets were a calming light green, not the matted dark brown that makes you wonder what you're walking on. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms open onto a bright inside hallway, not the parking lot. The location is lovely, with a riverside park just across the road, great for dog and people walks. Paisano's Italian restaurant is a quick drive over the bridge into town, providing a very good takeout option so we didn't have to leave the dog. It was a real pleasure to spend a night here in comfort, like actual guests instead of second-class dog owners. We'll definitely be back.
We had a great experience at this property. it was super quiet and clean. breakfast was good. the staff was super friendly and pleasant at check in and check out, and at all times in between. it was easy to find, parking was terrific. bed was great, towels were really thick, shower was super. our only disappointment was when we found no coffee available in the breakfast room in the evening.
My husband and I arrived late in the evening and the woman at the front desk was so nice and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We definitely will stay there again when going back through Oregon.
This place is far enough off the main highway that you hear now noise at all. The rooms are very open and comfortable, even without an elevator the staff was more than happy to help with your baggage which was very helpful after a long day on the road.
Spent two nights at Rogue River to be close to our son. He was schedule for heart ablation the next day after our arrival. Every thing went well, so we only needed to stay the two nights we had planned on. I know down the road, we will be going down there again, so we will be staying there.
We stayed at Best Western for one night thinking it would be a nice change....WE WERE ABSOLUTELY WRONG! Key card machine wasn't working until an hour before checkout so we had to have someone come up every single time we left the room. Then there was a cockroach that even the employee was scared of. No refrigerator or microwave either.. Definitely not worth the 100 bucks we paid.
Staff (Paula Turley), Really went out of her way to answer questions of the area. Made us feel really welcome. So much we ended up staying one extra day. Rooms was clean and nosie level was really quite. We will be back and spend more time there
clean room, excellent staff, excellent breakfast, definitely would stay at this hotel again, would recommend to others, excellent restaurants close to the hotel that were easy to access, very easy to access from the highway, enjoyed the exercise room
You always know what you are getting with a BW hotel but this one is better than most. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and a well presented breakfast. The receptionist recommended a great restaurant in town and we enjoyed great Italian food at Paisano's in Rogue River.
Hotel is always clean, staff is always friendly and helpful. I stay at this particular hotel whenever I'm in the area. Walker Insurance works with many hotels and we find this to be in the top tier of those we utilize for our staff. The front desk people are always very courteous and the complimentary breakfast area is always clean and well stocked.
My family and I booked this hotel after making a last minute change in our itinerary. Our suite room was large, clean, comfortable and homy. The front desk staff, Paula, was very pleasant, helpful, and welcomed us with a big smile.
We enjoyed our stay, we were comfortable, treated kindly and the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was professional and very helpful. We stayed in the fall in cold weather, look forward to staying in warmer weather and experience the beautiful surroundings.
We were looking for an overnight stop in Oregon and selected this Best Western based on Trip Advisor reviews and location near the Rogue River. The room was comfortably appointed and quiet. Perfect for a good night's sleep. We would return.
We checked in late at night, and really didn't get to experience the area till the next day. When we checked in, I believe Brian was at the front desk, and he was very accommodating. The rooms were very clean, and spacious. In the morning we went down to breakfast and Leslie was both helpful and friendly. As we were leaving we noticed we had a flat tire, and the staff there was very helpful in helping us located someone to look at it.
Besides being off the freeway, I told the manager that the best aspect of this facility is that they used real plates and glasses and silverware at the breakfast service -- so much superior to the paper plates and plastic utensils so ofter found in motels. And real glasses were also included in the rooms instead of the usual thin plastic cups wrapped in plastic, much preferred for our evening martini. The front desk staff - and manager - definitely displayed their friendly, can-do attitude. It was a joy to stay there. I would highly recommend stopping at this Best Western in Rogue River during your travels.
My wife and I have been taking our family to visit my brother in Grants Pass for the last five years, and we have always gone to the Best Western at the Rogue. We have always enjoyed our stay, and will tell anyone heading into the area to stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean, and the furnishings are comfortable.
The staff at this Best Western is very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the beds are comfortable and the room on the 2nd floor was very quiet. All in all a great stay for a reasonable price They serve a nice breakfast with a smile. Our only complaint is the appearance of the carpet throughout the hotel. It needs either a good cleaning or replacement because it is very dirty. The location is very convenient off the freeway but without the noise of I-5. It is located across the river in a very pretty location.
The staff greeted me with a warm smile, were very friendly and courteous. The General Manager even took time to say hello and asked about my stay. The hotel exterior and interior looks modern, is clean and well maintained. The room is spacious, smelled fresh, and clean. Also, the bathroom was very clean and smelled fresh. I will definitely return to this hotel on my trip through Oregon next year
Zach, at the front desk was very quick with the check in. Extremely informative about the layout of hotel (parking in relation to my room, amenities, etc.) He had offered to carry the luggage of the guests checking-in in ahead of me. Later, he suggested a hike for me and printed directions for me. I ate at a restaurant he recommended and was very pleased. I would recommend this property to anyone! Clean rooms, refridgerator and microwave in the rooms.
I arrived here fairly early - about 3:00 pm - and was greeted by two lovely ladies at the front desk. They were very helpful in checking me into a ground floor room. The room was the nicest on my whole trip and was very clean. Everything worked, too. The breakfast was as advertised and very nice.
Almost thought this pet friendly BW was closed. The front entrance does not face the road and there were no cars in the lot near the road. So be aware, hotel lobby is at the end of the building away from the road . Otherwise easy check in by helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room with usual amenities that you come to expect at chain hotels. Breakfast was above average for BWs. We took the desk clerks advise and went to nearby (maybe 1mile across the river) Italian restaurant - Pissno's. Best lasagna ever! Don't miss it. Check out their reviews.
We love it here and plan to return. The staff are professional and friendly, the hotel is quiet and comfortable, and the amenities were all perfect in working condition. The pool and hot tub are clean and a good temperature. The fitness room has a little of everything! Easy walking distance to town with bike paths. A nice riverside park is across the street. Friendly local businesses are pleasant and helpful.
run like an upper tier chain hotel - breakfast was the complete continental breakfast not the coffee, juice and rolls - very clean and quiet - staff was a great help as to what was in the area both for necessities and enjoyment - general manager Brian Paine runs a real nice place
We only stayed at the Best Western Inn at the Rogue for 2 nights, but we found it to be a really nice experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We felt like we were part of the family there. We had a need to change our room assignment when we checked in. The front desk employees quickly retrieved a gift basket that had been placed in our booked room, and they brought to our revised location - with a smile. Even the room attendants smile and greet you. If friendliness and helpfulness are high on your priority list, you will be delighted with the Best Western Inn at the Rogue. Happy Travelling
the hotel was great - very clean and quiet - looking forward to staying there again. its very easy to find off of the freeway and its located on the river - beautiful scenery! the swans outside were too cute!!! the staff were very friendly and helpful. there is a convenient gift shop and the breakfast was great. awesome trip!!!
Great Hotel just off the 5 & right next to the river. (Road layout exiting the Fwy is a little confusing be careful). Parking is free & there were plenty of spaces. Check in was smooth, quick & no problems. No elevator but we were offered help upstairs with our luggage. Standard 2 queen room with fridge & microwave. Bathroom with bath/toilet combo (wash basin in main room) water pressure good, no fluctuations in hot/cold. Internet: very good connection. Had to re-connect a lot but signal was good. Beds comfortable. Breakfast; good variety of the usual hot food (sausage, bacon eggs), cereals, pastries etc. Pool. Was a good temperature & clean. Hot tub. Was not always hot! but when it was it was great Laundry. i love hotels that have a laundry. Not cheap but so good to have.(change available at the front desk). All the staff were friendly & polite would stay here again if in the area.
Location is excellent. It is immediately across the road from the Rogue River, just off I-5 at the town of Rogue River. River walk and state park are just across low river bridge. Location affords close access to river rafting; area wineries are located in virtually every direction. Keeping in mind that this is a river resort, the rooms and common areas are spotless and neat. Property is unassuming in its architecture, but the management maintains the property with no noticeable blemishes. Pool and hot tub are outdoor and not large, but they are appealing and sparkling clean. Staff really tries to accommodate needs and concerns, and the staffers are quite knowledgeable about area attractions and restaurants. The atmosphere exudes warm hospitality. This is the third stay at this hotel. I plan to come back for a longer stay next time.
My sister and I spent one night at the Inn at the Rogue. We usually have good luck with the Best Westerns we choose and this one did not disappoint us. We rented a room with two Queens, as opposed to the suite, because we were only staying the night. The room was very pleasant and clean. The bed was so comfortable I had meant to check the mattress brand but forgot. Front desk personnel were very warm and friendly. We got in late and were hungry. Asked the desk if there was any good food to be had in this tiny community and we were told to go back across the bridge. A little Italian restaurant was recommended. We figured it would just be "okay" as there really wasn't any competition in this tiny community. Thanks to the desk's recommendation, we enjoyed the absolute best pizza we have had in years. We live in Vacaville, CA, and the only comparable place is in Sacramento. No disappointments during our short visit to Rogue River!
Friendly staff that showed they cared about us. Gave an excellent recommendation for dinner. Wish they would have had a truly handicap accessible room for our friends. Paying extra extra for bars does not cut it!!!
We arrived in the later part of the evening, and were warmly greeted by Zack at the counter. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. Zach offered to assist us with our luggage. At breakfast the next morning we enjoyed an atmosphere and a spread of food the likes of which I've not seen in many other hotels which were much higher priced. Christina and Lesley were very kind and helpful, keeping the dining area clean and presentable. I shared my thoughts of appreciation with the manager, Brian Paine. He was most gracious. I told him my wife and I would certainly stay with them again should our travels bring us through Grants Pass, Oregon.
We were traveling from Seattle to Santa Rosa and this was an over night stay. We arrived late and the front desk staff was outside having a smoke break. He was cordial and ask if we needed help with our bags. I have an allergy to smoke and so we did not stay and chat. Our room was fine. Though we have stayed at nicer and more recently upgraded Best Westerns. The best part of this short stay was the breakfast attendants. They were friendly, smiling and helpful!
My review was basically that the hotel needed an infusion of spirit. Nice people, not happy with their jobs. This was not the first time we have stayed at this location but we may select another hotel on our next trip.
A beautiful BW right across the Rouge River perfectly located next to the interstate. Quiet and comfortable, this made a nights' stay an easy option as we headed North to Washington State. The only issue that I saw was there s no elevator, (or none was pointed out to me) This meant schlepping luggage and a pet up two flights of stairs, normally not a huge problem, but an earlier back injury caused this to be a bit of a problem. As more boomers travel later into their years, hotels would be wise to upgrade to bathroom grab bars, higher toilet seats and elevators to assist those going through temporary or permanent changes.
