Great location, nice size room, breakfast selection good. Wonderful walk to goteborg central throught the park. Great value for money

I was charged twice for my stay and have not received any response to the emails I've sent requesting a refund for the second charge. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I expected better customer service and accountability. I hope this issue gets resolved soon, but so far, communication has been nonexistent.

The name on hotel is Center, not Sure as listed on reservation 😡. It took of a bit of time to figure out where to go as the name on bldg was not the same. The site listed free parking. I called hotel before I booked and they told me there was free parking across the street. When we arrived after searching forever for the right place, we were told that the parking was 20 minutes away and in a pay parking lot. Then we went in the room and there were beds for two people not three as we had booked! Not a pleasant experience finding and checking in to this place. Room was tiny, but clean and updated. Lobby and halls old and shabby. The site didn't give correct details. Disappointed in BW .

Good rooms and unlimited tea and biscuits, breakfast was nice with a range of options,the waffle later in the day were excellent as well. The hotel is located in the centre and has excellent transport links and is easy to walk to and from the centre and different areas to explore.

House keeping staff behaviour was not acceptable. Not recommended at all to other guests...just the price was cheaper as compared with others.... i have been there with my family. nOT RECOMMEDED FOR ANYONE

There is a first time for everything. First time I've ever been asked to give the receptionist both our ids who stayed in the room, just in case quote: “ if there is a fire and we only find your skeletons, we need to be able to identify them”. The rooms were at the most ok and the breakfast was at a minimum required level.

The room was not clean, empty bottles of previous customers at the window; the main light was not working, the door of the bathroom was damaged, the room service never cleaned the room during a stay of 4 days. The breakfast staff was terrible, to sit somewhere I had to clean myself a table from the leftovers of previous clients, while the staff was just walking around

The dining room is inadequate with overcooked pre-brewed coffee, the tea/coffee/juice machine needed to be replaced or at least regularly cleaned. It was an okay breakfast buffet, though not the Best Western standard. In the room the cleaning was not done properly and one bed was broken and the toilet would not flush out properly. Got you quickly a new room which was better, the cleaning was still not good enough. Had noisy neighbors who were taken care of by the front desk and there was generally a lot of noise, bu we got a good night's sleep, which was the most important thing.

The hotel needs to do some renovations. Carpets, stairways and curtains in the room are not acceptable. The room can‘t be made dark at night. Breakfast room is not inviting. Selection of food is okay but there are not enough seats. Price value dows not suit. Too expensive for what you get.The elevator stops between the levels. You have to carry your luggage up to get there.Staff was friendly. No shower cabin just a tub with curtain.

Most importantly, this hotel is located between 2 busy roads. No matter where you are in this hotel, you will hear the road noise. If you are on the top hotel floor, there is still another floor about and those folks can be loud. There's also a church just down the street that rings the bell more often than it should. Overall, there are lots of noise problems. You are better off staying somewhere else I would have checked out after the first night, but ended up leaving after 2 nights because the other hotel I wanted to move to didn't have availability right away. I only did 2 of the 8 nights I had booked due to the noise and other frustrations.

The hotel is located at a good location in the city centre, 10 minutes walk from Gothenburg Central and close to one of the botanical gardens. The staff members were very friendly. Breakfast buffet was decent and many choices for warm and cold food and drinks.

RUDE RECEPTIONIST EVER I booked this hotel in wrong date and found out a few hours later. I tried to the hotel but the hotel refused to refund anything as it's a non refundable term. I understand their policy so I just tried to rediscuss with them to see if there's any other possibilities. So I phoned the hotel and the lady in the front dest was super rude. She didn't even let me finish my first sentence, harshly criticized me instead. I asked her politely if I could talk to an manager or file an complain against the policy, then she went crazy and yelled at me 'there's nothing you need to complain, you made your own choice!!!!'. I tried to explain more but she refused to listen and talked loudly when I tried to make a conversation. I didn't even insist to the refund, all I asked was a normal communication but the hotel failed to do it. For people thinking to stay in this hotel, please be careful. Even if you check in successfully, you might still get yelled at or insulted by the receptionist for anything or any normal request as they don't care about the clients at all and have no willing to help on anything.

We stayed for one night. The hotel is very close to the train station ( ~ 10mins on foot) and offers a good international breakfast, even though the variety is not big. The rooms are nice and the bathroom is very spacious.

Me and the wife recently found some very cheap flights to Gothenburg and doubled down on a great value long weekend by booking this very reasonably priced hotel (we roughly paid around £250 for 4 nights). It had everything we wanted when we weren't planning on spending much time in the hotel; four walls, a roof, a decent bed, tv and a great shower. The staff were all fantastic and it was a good location to everything that's going on in the city (around ten minute walk to the main centre, about the same distance to the train/ bus station). Issues with this hotel; - Housekeeping is hit and miss, we had dust everywhere around our room and you could tell the floors don't get a good sweep. - The hotel is very noisy at the minute, I think some rooms are getting renovated so there's a lot of banging about come 7am. - Tea and coffee are only available in the breakfast room. Albeit 24/7 but there's no kettle in the room. This doesn't bother me too much as we were out for breakfast every day but some people will hate this. Overall this is a totally fine hotel at a great price. You get what you pay for!

Really disappointed with my stay as wanted to love this hotel. I booked a twin room as wanted the space but was allocated what resembled a cupboard with a single bed and a very small desk yet was still charged for a twin. The hotel itself wasn't dirty but there were stains on the curtains and on the sheets. It was impossible to sleep at night due to the lack of air con and the road is so loud next to the hotel you cannot have the window open. The breakfast was pretty poor. The only positives are the great location (can get everywhere by walking) and the free juice and cinnamon buns available all day in the breakfast room

Okey stay. We were a few friends. Its close with nice parking area outside. We got a queensize bed it was awesome. Staff was polite but tired on guests. Close to a nightclub no noisy. Nice area to the room. Simple but nice.

Very clean and basic room with TV, desk, good Wifi. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is quiet with a lovely park nearby. A grocery store and shopping district 5 minutes away on foot, city centre is 10 minutes away on foot. When entering the hotel, you have to take your luggage up 10 steps, and then 5 steps down to reach reception. Another 5 steps up to reach the lift.

I booked modern room showed in photos but receptionist gave older room with old furniture and old little bathroom. When checking online there is only photos of the new rooms with modern furniture and new bathroom. It was not possible to get the room of the photos only the old room even the hotel was almost empty. There was better rooms available but not given to everyone by cold worker. Lobby has free drinks but that won't help with the poor experience. I didn't feel like spending time in the little old room when booked new modern room and it was expensive.

Everything was good, except from the noise from the street (even with closed windows) kept us from sleeping and the heat in the rooms - because you couldnt open the windows during night time (too loud).

The room we got was smaller than the room we had selected on booking.com. This was a family room for two adults in addition to two children who were supposed to share a bed-sofa. The price was rather stiff (2425 SEK) for one night. The beds were good but the windows were poor sound insulated, so an outdoor concert in the nabourhood was heard rather loud with the windows shut. There was no air conditioning. Breakfast was very good and we could make waffels, coffee and tea when we arrived in the afternoon. We parked our car on the premises for 150 SEK a day.

Comfortable and friendly. Close to main city, only 7 min walk. They invite guest to participate in baking waffles in the afternoon. It was easy to park the car for a low amount of money and if I needed any supplies/facilities during my stay then they were happy to help.

Easy check in and out. Friendly service. Rooms are useful and have enough space. Breskfast was ok. The location is very good and near to the city. We would come back. The price is good for these kind of hotel.

Beds were good, thats about it. Breakfast was ok. Lightswitches broken, tv not working properly. No AC and bad ventilation. Lots of traffic in the area. Staff was nice and friendly. Run down hotel that could be a pearl if they did some renovations.

From the outside, the hotel looks like a concrete block. Well located on Parkgarten, fairly near to the station and with a lovely park opposite. It was much better inside the hotel. We had a lovely welcome from the receptionist who pointed out all the things we could have 24/7 from the breakfast room. That afternoon, there were make your own waffles, along with drinks, biscuits, cake, fruit etc. The room was quite compact but well appointed. Wi-fi was very good. Breakfast was a buffet, with not a huge choice but adequate. Only downside, having to carry bags up and down steps to/from the front door. I'd stay again in the future.

This hotel is only 10 - 15 mins from the city centre or central station. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are nicely appointed and spotless. Good selection at the buffet breakfast. Also there is free tea, coffee or juice 24hrs from the breakfast room that you can take back to your room. When we were there, you could make free waffles with jam and cream between 4pm -9pm. Damn tasty they were too!
