The staff is very nice and helpful I don't eat any breads so in the morning when I go get breakfast the young girl will go out of her way to have me a sausage and egg set aside for me so I'm not wasting the bagel Sandwich that they make for everyone they always make sure you don't miss the special rewards you can sign up for under the best western rewards they are not a fancy best westerns but nice clean and the beds are comfortable

I'm what you call a cozy connoisseur.. I'm all about complete coziness and your beds and pillows are extremely cozy and your rooms are very clean and I appreciate that more than you know and no matter which one of your Best Westerns I go to in different cities in towns all of your staff is always polite and kind and helpful that's why I always stay at a Best Western when I'm away from home

The Best Western of Goshen is great. The beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and the rooms are clean. The owners and staff have treated me like family and I look forward to the next stay in Goshen. I have Stayed here for about 7 years and as an RV transporter it is much more comfortable than sleeping in my pickup truck.

In my opinion, if you're traveling through Goshen or Elkhart Indiana, the best buy for your buck is going to be the best Western in Goshen Indiana. It's clean safe comfortable rooms for a reasonable price don't hesitate.

Before the pandemic the breakfast was fantastic with eggs, sausage, bacon, fried potatoes, and more! Now it's terrible! This morning the highlight was a cold ham and cheese bagel! Time to try a new place! People want a good breakfast to start the day!

Rooms always clean, including bathroom and fresh smelling bedding. Great choices for hot breakfast, including juices and fruit. I've stayed a few times and I've never been disappointed. Near restaurants and shopping in Goshen. Easy access to expressways.

Best Western met all of our needs for the night! For a smaller hotel and being older, the breakfast was outstanding! We really enjoyed the homemade egg cheese and sausage bagel! Plus the extra grab and go's were great! I would definitely stop and stay again! Thank you for the hospitality! Well done!

We had a great room, comfortable and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, that we chose to sleep in, rather than go for the free breakfast. We're over 55 so we got an AMAZING deal on the cost. We're on a fixed income, so it's always great to save money.

Room temp was comfortable from the minute we entered the room. The room was clean and in a great location. Continental breakfast was just enough to refuel our bodies & hit the road for a 6 hour ride home. The room served it's purpose of a place to stay after the ND game.

Your beds are very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep! The breakfast was disappointing. No eggs and I needed a knife to cut the biscuits even after warming them in the microwave. It was nothing like what you used to serve. Your breakfast used to be the highlight of the stay and something I would brag about!

This hotel could really use some updating. The bathroom was less than desirable, not very clean. Staircase was unusable at one end, no elevator. Didn't feel the safest. I will not be staying there again

I was very impressed with this Best Western. Definitely value for the money. I have to admit when I pulled into the parking lot I had my doubts about this hotel but after checking in and seeing my room I was pleasantly surprised. Spacious room, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and on the desk is a note from the owner with his cell number on it with instructions to call him if things were not ok. When seeing a show in Shipsee its very convenient to stay in Shipsse but it is also a bit pricey. You will save lots of dlars by driving the 20 minutes to this Best Western. I will be staying here again.

Very, very clean! The bed was very fun Chabot, along with the pillows. I would stay there again. It was better than the last hotel I stayed at. Very very clean and I would recommend it or a short term stay for anyone.

I had no problems the staff was great, the was clean, and i was to get some well needed rest due to a quiet hotel, there are plenty of food options in the direct area as well as fuel, and shopping venues

It was a very pleasant stay. They had a breakfast with fruit pastries gravey and biscuits, and waffles. The room was spacious and very clean the bed was comfortable the bathroom was very spacious and nice.

Old fashion motel, the kind where you pull up to the door of your room and unload. I like that feature. The rooms are a bit dated and they could use more lights. It has a dark, or maybe dim, feel. However, the room was very clean, the bed was good, and the shower had good water pressure. All of those things made it a good stay. I will warn you the lobby could be a bit of a walk if you are not very mobile. Getting ice or going to breakfast could be a hike, and it could also be very cold in the winter. There are closer rooms, and you may want to make a request to be in that building if mobility, or cold, is a concern.

This was a last minute booking. While the building looks a bit older on the outside, the room was very clean and comfortable. The man at the front desk (I can't remember his name) was very friendly and organized. Comfortable stay at an affordable rate.

Our room had a window looking out into a hallway/stairwell. Very odd. Other than that everything was okay. It's a motel. Don't expect too much. We stayed in the building that was newly renovated. Apparently the other building is worse.

We had been traveling for four days and stayed at more expensive hotels. This hotel was by far the cleanest & cheapest. The owner was so kind, & you can tell he takes pride in the hotel. Nice place!

My husband booked our stay here through Expedia. The rooms and exterior looked satisfactory in pictures as well as glowing reviews online. We were given a room in the back portion on lower level. The room smelled of musty smoke, had very used furnishings and stained carpet. We asked for another room and was given a room close to front of motel. The floor was vinyl plank, room still smelled of old smoke and the mattress had to be 20+ years old! In the description, our room was described as having a pillow top mattress and updated furnishings. Maybe they were saving the nicer rooms for full price paying customers. We left the premises after two tries and stayed somewhere else knowing we probably would not get refund for payment. I think Best Western would be embarrassed to know their name is on this MOTEL.

I live out of state but work in Goshen IN. Every time I come here for work this is the only hotel I frequent. Everything from the friendly staff to the clean and cozy rooms to the amazing continental breakfast If anyone is looking for a home away from home this Best Western is where you should find yourself. Don't miss this great stay

Front desk ( Alex ) is professional and made it easy to check in and checkout. Clean room plenty of towels and coffee. Great TV in room and frig and microwave. There pet area is great Thanks Best Western

Nice access to downtown. Pricing rational. Clean , attentive, good size room. All the amenities available. Could have more breakfast choices perhaps. Had a faucet leaking and immediately offered to repair. Some pieces of the room pretty dated, it all in all a good experience.

This is an old and dated hotel. It's also more like a motel as the doors to the rooms face outdoors. I was greeted by a very helpful and friendly person at the front desk. No problems there. I did find the room quite dated and it had a bit of a musty smell. The room was clean. It must be near the train tracks as I heard them frequently. An okay place.

Great staff as always. Top notch customer service. Room clean and comfy as always. Rooms are big, great pillows and plenty of hot water. Next to a DQ if hungry. Has washer and dryer on site also. We will be back!! Thank you

Great place. Everywhere else was double the price so I was skeptical. Ended up being much better than expected. Very friendly staff that I interacted with. I had a minor issue with the door lock and wasn't going to say anything but they reached out to me and asked how the stay was going, so I reported it. Once I did that, they handled it immediately.

Room was NOT properly clean or cleaned. I had to clean room. Took pictures of the filth. Dirty furniture, lamp shades broken and not cleaned of dust. Window sill was filty. Top of AC/heat unit was covered in dirt, dead flies. Floor was not mopped and cleaned as my bare feet showed. Housekeeping staff is NOT properly trained on how to clean rooms and no one inspected their work. Whomever is in charge of housekeeping has failed. Staff house keepers weren't dressed to look "professional or looked like staff. No name badges on staff. House keepers spent more time visiting each other outside each room than working. It shouldn't take 3 young women to clean one room and it shouldn't take 3 of them over a hour to clean a room. Outside of hotel was dirty with trash lying around. Had to pick up several empty Corona beer bottles outside of room. Trash can outside room was full entire stay. Dog walk area was covered in poop from irresponsible owners not picking up. We stayed at this hotel last year and it has gotten worse since.

We were forced ti stay here for 2 nights as our RV was being repaired. The first night we had a shower plumbing issue. I called Scott at Front Desk. He immediately offered us another room but we were tired so we declined. We ended up having to stay another night and he persdonally inspected our room before assigning it! Very impressive!! We would definately stay here again!!

My husband and I had to be in Goshen for a funeral and stayed 2 nights at this hotel.Our room,312,was clean,quiet and comfortable.It is in the back of the second building so we did not hear the noise from the traffic going by the front building.This is an older hotel but has been well maintained.There is no pool or workout room.Breakfast was grab and go bags.Coffee and soft drinks are available in the lobby.This hotel provides basic accomodations.Nothing fancy but we don't need fancy.Anyone who does needs to go elsewhere.I'd stay again if in the area.

My husband and I transporter RVs so we stay here at least 1-2 times every month. We are so appreciative of Scott and his family for providing a great place for us to stay. They have a beautiful area in the back for walking your dog or hanging out. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the grab and go breakfast is perfect. The parking is perfect for RVs and trucks, they really take care of us there.

We always stay here when are in the area. Service is amazing every time we call to schedule a room. Our room is always ready and clean. Only thing that I wish would change and that's that breakfast go back to precovid.always a great stay!

Excellent staff, clean and comfortable rooms with easy main roadway access. DQ right next door for convenient fast food dining, or lots of delivery options. Large vehicle parking. Grab & Go breakfast options are good quality and nice variety. Coffee and fountain soda available in Office at check-in. Clean laundry and vending too.

Stayed five nights between April 28 and May 3, and wished I had stay somewhere else.. This is an older property which has had some "lipstick" applied to the rooms. There was no breakfast during our five night stay because of "kitchen remodeling" only crummy "grab and go" bags of stuff. In our bathroom, the shower head was 7' above the floor and immovable, the toilet was designed for children -- the seat height is lower than the height of the bathtub. Internet access was problematic most times of the day -- could connect to the wifi but couldn't access the Internet 100% of the time . . . very troublesome for a person on business who lives by access to the Internet. Also, this was not a great area for connectivity to T-Mobile cellular service, which is a fall-back position when Internet access is problematic . . . and here it was virtually impossible to obtain access. I am a BW Rewards Diamond Select member and burned up 90,000+ points on a stay that was maybe worth 60,000 at best. Didn't even get the usual, "Thank you for being a Best Western Rewards member" greeting. This property rates a very low 2-stars at best. .

This is the best place I've ever stayed!!! The people will go out of their way to help you in anyway they can The rooms are clean!!! I'm a traveling Nurse so I know! What a pleasure it has been to stay here!

Very nice staff, especially Scott & Nicholas (I believewas his name, works nights). Very courteous and willing to work with you. I booked thru a 3rd party but needed to cancel one of my days. They spoke with the 3rd party I reserved thru & honored my wishes. I would definitely stay here again.

The cleanliness and atmosphere of the hotel, the young man that checked me in last night was very friendly and accommodating for myself and my 2 fur kids... Best Western in Goshen, Indiana will now be my go to when I need to get out of my truck for the night...

The staff argued at check in that we had a king size bed and it was a full or Queen. He had to confirm with his supervisor that it was not. The room was dirty - dust all over the walls. The shower head was spraying upwards. The breakfast listed as hot online was a bag breakfast. The Internet did not work!

Tired older motel. Needs updated badly. No hot breakfast despite being "very busy" For $5 more, you can get a hot breakfast in a newer hotel within a mile of this one. Other reviewers love it. I picked because it had the highest reviews. Just be prepared for nothing flashy and very few amenities

Best Western, Goshen, is my motel of choice when I am in town for work. Consistently clean rooms, courteous staff, excellent rates and efficient check-in and check-out process. I visit multiple times a month and I highly recommend this hotel!

im not sure the gentleman that checked me out was an angel. i had dropped off my kids at school and on the way to the hotel i thought “ im so hungry “ and had been having a tough time since thanksgiving , coming in to check out he was so polite and friendly then to offer me free breakfast i got a muffin and a pack of peanuts thank you so much for your generosity no other hotel not even the high price hotels have ever offered breakfast whilst we check out so this was a blessing on a much needed time he made my day . thank you kind sir im not sure if his name is scott baker or if that was the manager either way GOD BLESS YOU.

The Best Western is my home away from home. A comfortable bed, hot showers, clean room, and WiFi what more can I expect From a motel? Friendly staff, located near local eateries, it makes my work life reasonable. I'll be back soon.

Owned and operated by the son of the man who opened this hotel. Loved the personal note he has in each room which includes his personal cell phone number! Honestly, he wants your stay to feel like home away from home! We will definitely stay again when back in the area!

This is a very nice property with clean rooms and a reasonably quiet location, which was easy to find. Grab 'n Go breakfast was very convenient and options were well varied. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

I stay at this location for business multiple times a month. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. The property and rooms are clean, secure, and well maintained. The check in process is quick. My choice for staying in Goshen!

We were having work done on our motorhome and stayed at Best Western, Goshen with our two dogs, a German Shepherd and German Short-haired Pointer. Being that our dogs require two *good* walks a day, it was VERY convenient that we were just a couple blocks from a beautiful 1.6 mile hike around Fidler Pond - a local birdwatching attraction. Scott, Sarah, Adam, Opelika and Della all made us feel completely at home, sharing treasures from their garden, and suggesting great hikes and local attractions. Storms took power out of half of Goshen for a few hours and they were kind enough to share their ice and make some refrigerator space. I can't say enough of their kindness and outreach. Super convenient location,, definitely a gem of a family making us feel right at home!!

Hotel and staff were fine. Noise level in my room could stand to be improved. I heard every truck, car, train that passed by all night long. Love how they did post covid breakfast with you filling out check list of choices and them having ready in AM for pickup.

Run down motel..Poor service. Dirty bathroom. Outdoor wooden stairs were falling apart and unsafe. There are plenty of other choices to stay in Goshen when I return there. Never going back to that Best Western again.

Only $5 extra a night for our dog and there was no weight limit. Decent space/area for our dog to potty. Rooms were good size. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Liked having the daily texts to see how our stay was going.

We we're just traveling through and needed a place to spend the night. We have had such good like with Best Western Plus the past couple of years, that we decided to stay here, even though it was a Best Western Inn. What a great choice! The front desk clerk was extremely friendly & helpful - we had made a reservation and everything was ready and check-in very efficient! The hotel was extremely clean & updated nicely. The soundproofing was amazing.....we got a great night's sleep. I was surprised to see a personal letter from the owner on the desk in our room. I haven't ever seen this before! We had no problems during our stay, but I had no doubt the owner would have been there to help if needed! Highly recommend! We will stay here again!!

Staff wasn't very nice, night staff played games with friends in lobby, was moved from the first room because it was so dirty and gross, the second room was lit much better. beds were rock hard, dirty tub and shower, water temp was inconsistent it changed from burning hot to ice cold on its own, room was dirty, building falling apart. Never again will I stay there. Never never never!!

While visiting family I really had a great stay. And the owner was very accommodating and kind!! Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. The rooms were clean and neat. I'm definitely coming back when I visit

This Best Western is the best motel that we stay at. During COVID-19 we felt safe and healthy staying here. We have seen consistent care being maintained by the owners. Their pride is shown both inside and out. We enjoy doing our reset at this motel. This motel is the standard that the RVing Labs look for!

This hotel is operated by courteous and friendly folks. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. They have a good sized yard for pets to play in and it has bags for pickup onsite. Dairy Queen is next to it for food or dessert.

We just had a quick stop at this hotel and we were happy with our stay. It was really great that they allowed dogs at a minimum fee ($5 currently). We were also able to park our truck and boat trailer there, though most spaces were taken.

The owner was truly a good and caring person, who makes sure he does all he can for u to enjoy your stay and be comfortable. I was actually only staying there due to a relationship issue and he went above and beyond to make sure I was good. Just don't hv many people like him in the world anymore!

room was okay. Location was great. Price was good for room but they changed my price when I checked out and added 2q dollars to my bill so be careful with that. The room is a little noisy being located next to road and layout.

The service here was good, the room was clean as we have come to expect from best western. Though the coffee pot in the room didn't work quite right we made do. The breakfast was good even though we didn't get there early and was getting old. Biggest issue was checkout, there was noone around for about 15 mins which ended making my day run behind.

They had hot soup in the evening. It was nice to relax on a cold evening with a piping hot bowl of Chicken Noodle soup. They offer an Excellent hot Breakfast selection. My pet was able to stay with me at no cost.

Great place to stay. I have stayed here a great deal over the past three years and the owner and all of his staff always go out of their way to make sure that you have a great stay. The breakfast is always hot and fresh.

When I first drove up to it I questioned if I really wanted to stay there but once I checked in, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Loved that there was a military discount. The owner also accommodated my request of first floor. The rooms were super clean and smelled fresh. The only thing I would change if anything would be the hardness of beds. (They were not as soft as what they could have been) internet was fast and easy to access. The location was perfect because it was only 5 mins away from the wedding venue I had to go to. It was also within walking distance of many restaurants. Price was also fair for 2 double beds. Would recommend to anyone staying in Goshen to stay here.

We where in Goshen for business. Unfortunately, a huge snow storm came. We had to extend our stay for a few more days! The staff where warm, friendly and accommodating! The room was large, warm and comfortable. It truly became our home away from home, for my husband, our 2 dogs and myself. Thank you!

had to wait 45 minutes before I was checked in, provided the wrong bed than what was originally requested, Bed was much harder than what I like and there was a good amount of road noise which did not help while sleeping on a hard bed

This place is a dump! Unfriendly staff. They overbooked pet friendly rooms so when we arrived for check in they wanted to move us to a smaller room. We had clearly reserved a larger pet friendly room. Will never stay at a best western again because of this experience.

This is an older property that the family has tried to keep contemporary. We were here in a pouring rain storm, on a weekend the Notre Dame were playing at home. The place was packed. We found the room spacious, and there was a real chair in the room. Always a plus! There is no close restaurant other than a Dairy Queen that shared the parking lot. Low medium on the restaurant. The friendly staff tried hard to make the stay as nice as possible. There was a very irate customer in the lobby checking in ahead of me, and kudos to the desk clerk who really went out of her way to keep this nut case calm.

All pet friendly rooms face the highway (100 ft. from door) and the pet area is at the back of the property adjacent to a railroad tracks. Difficult to sleep with truck noise, trains and cigarette smoke leaking in from somewhere.

This hotel is nicer than I expected. Our room was a good size and was very clean. We travel with our dogs so finding a hotel that takes dogs was a plus. There is a lovely grassy area to the side to air the dogs. The owners are second generation with children who want to run the hotel in the future. They want to know if you are not happy, their phone number is on a paper in each room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights while our 5th wheel was being repaired. And would stay here again.

It would have been a better rating it the water had drained out of the tub after you took a shower. When I reported it when I checked out if was like the guy didn't even care about the problem. The young lady who checked me in was nice and told me about the food in the area .

The staff were awesome. The hotel was very nice. Enjoyed my stay in Goshen. I will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the Goshen area. The hotel is very convenient to the factory and places I needed to go to.

No complaints. This is an older hotel but it shows its self respect in many ways. The parking lot is clean. The exterior hallways are clean. The room size (including bathroom) are just fine. The breakfast spread is thoughtful. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating.

I booked this motel based off other reviews. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked about food options in the area. Reasonably priced and nice breakfast.

This hotel was not what I thought. It is like a motel. There are 2 buildings not connected. We stayed in building 2 but the ice machine, vending machine, and breakfast were in building 1. Not convienent if the weather is bad.

Hotel has lots of pleasant updates. I think the owner is making serious attempt to renovate. But that doesn't excuse the animal urine smell in the room or the cockroaches. The breakfast had lots of variety which you don't see much anymore.

The owner clearly puts a lot of effort at keeping this property up and providing a good guest experience. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good. We were especially grateful for the pet policy which didn't charge extra and a nice area in the rear of the hotel where pets can be exercised. Near to both Middlebury (Das Dutchman) and Shipshewana. A very reasonable rate. Recommend if in the area.

Excellent hotel with an outstanding staff. We loved this hotel. Large rooms with comfortable beds, super clean, nice décor with a table and two chairs, refrigerator/microwave, desk, parking which is right outside the room, perfect location, and a staff that cares and makes you feel very welcome. The breakfast has a good selection of warm and cold food items along with free soda at breakfast. This is a family run hotel that takes pride and care in their business. They genuinely care about the guest. The hotel is undergoing updates but the construction cause no problems at all. We were very happy here and would highly recommend this hotel.

Make sure you read the fine print and don't assume it is a hotel. It is a good Motel but disappointing if thinking it is a hotel. I didn't read close enough so just make sure you do before booking. The surroundings are not very beautiful but the rooms were clean. Staff seemed friendly.

...and stay elsewhere. Trains, sounding their horns, as the pass nearby during the night. Transient workers with their large pickup trucks all about. Older property, in need of an overall facelift. Good luck.

We're driving home to Ohio and just got too tired so we needed a place to stay. Saw this best western and pulled over. Best decision we'd made all day. The clerk, at 12am, was kind, attentive, and cared about us. We got to our room, it was clean and fresh and the ac unit was blessedly quiet and cooling the shower had good pressure and was tall enough for us! I really liked that the owner left a personal note about the history of the hotel and his personal number if we were disappointed with anything. In the morning, they offered a full breakfast which was homemade and delicious!! Nothing was dry or old and all of the employees were cheery and lovely folks. My travel buddy even broke the waffle batter machine and the two women behind the counter jumped into action with smiles and giggles as we all tried to stop the flow of waffle goo. 10 out of 10 will recommend and will stay again if we're ever in the area. Great hotel experience.

I am a truck driver delivering trailers and they give us a great rate. I am treated very well and made to feel as if I am at home. Staff is always friendly and the room is always very clean. Breakfast is good and is refreshed often. Considering the proximity of the main road it is surprisingly quiet. Wouldn't consider staying elsewhere when in Goshen.

Property was in the midst of renovations, June 2019. Hotel staff was friendly and price was reasonable. Breakfast service exceeded my expectations and included protein and a waffle maker with the Best Western design on the finished waffle.

The staff at this Best Western were not helpful. The room was clean on the surface. The tile in the bathroom did not look like it had ever been scrubbed. Whoever painted the room had no experience, all walls were different colors with the paint lines going onto the next wall and/or door & window frames. Curtains did not match anything in the room. Pillows were well used and need to be replaced.

This hotel was older and in the process of making upgrades. The staff were nice, the hotel older but clean and accomodating.We will mostlllly stay here again. We felt the price was a little elevated since the hotel is older than many newer charging the same rates.

Stayed here many many times over the past 15 years always a clean comfortable stay with an excellent breakfast. Lately they been having some hash browns and corned beef hash with the eggs and great Donuts

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, wonderful shower head, and adequate breakfast. Stayed for 4 nights to attend a funeral. Only hiccup was that our water was cold the morning of the funeral so we either had to forgo our shower or take a cold one. The issue was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Train tracks are very close so be sure to bring ear plugs. Some guests don't know to be quiet after 11 so a posted sign might remind them that there are people trying to go to sleep. This hotel has exterior access to the rooms.

The rooms are clean and updated, they come with comfortable beds, and large flat screen TV's. There is plenty of parking for both cars and larger vehicles. The internet is fast and easy to sign-in to. You will enjoy a great breakfast that starts 4am.

The hotel was undergoing lobby renovation so that area wasn't the best. My room, a king, was large and clean. Big TV screen and Internet worked fine. Bath was clean with plenty of soap and towels. Rooms were a little dated in decor but well cared for. They have a fridg, /microwave, and I think DVD player as well (didn't use it). So overall It was a nice place to stay and I"d do it again.

My stay here started with me walking into the check in and noticing that it was essentially in shambles. The check in process took 15 minutes but we finally got our room. As we drove around back to the room we noticed that the place was all but deserted. We ignored it, gave benefit of the doubt and got out of our car thinking “it's early still, not many people have checked in”. As we unloaded our stuff, some being expensive valuables such as laptops and such, we were eyed by a group of people sitting off behind the dairy queen. We grabbed everything we had that had any remote value and locked the car about 8 times before heading to our room. Upon opening the door we were slammed with an odour of cigarette smoke, something that a non smoking hotel should never have. Unfortunately, it seems as if the rooms were never cleaned to get rid of that smoke. We also didn't have any blinder curtains so keeping anything valuable in the room would be a big problem. I sat down on the bed and tried to tough it out but eventually gave up when I realized that the beds were even sort of sticky and hard while my travelling partner noted that the sink water was off. After an hour, eyes stinging and throats raw, we gave up and ate the cost and left. Never going back.

I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns, this was my least favorite experience. Hair in the shower, and smoke smell in a non-smoking room, (room 413) at least the bed was clean, hence the 3 stars. Even though I stayed in the building farthest from the highway, sirens and road noise kept waking me up all night even through ear plugs. Also train whistles were annoying me all night! Other than that it was ok. I suppose it was better than sleeping in the car.

There was hardly and water pressure. The bathroom sink was clogged and the tub was dirty. The hotel looks run down and questionable neighborhood. We will never stay at this hotel again. Sadly our experience gives Best Western a bad name. I expected more from one of their hotels for what we paid for the room.

Excellent service. Always pleasant and ready to assist. Good breakfast and great hours. Our room was cleaned daily and everything was in great shape. We were visiting our daughter and her family for the holidays and the location is very convenient. We will definitely stay hereand again on future visits!

Stayed here for one night. The staff is nice. The property was clean and well kept. It's in a great location. There are plenty of food options available on the same street. Will definitely stay here again. Breakfast is available daily.

Stayed at the Best Western while in the Goshen area. My room was clean and all the utilities (shower, toilet and sink) were in good working order. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was available. My stay was good and the price was reasonable.

Friendly staff, got an early check-in even on a sold out weekend, clean, fair price, good breakfast (sausage, eggs, gravy, fruit, waffles, etc), quiet, on-site fountain pop machine Not good... Dated and older hotel, no secured entry, toilet did not flush well, no vent in bathroom, poor lighting, beds were hard Here's the thing, I wouldn't want to vacation at this hotel. However, this is great for a night or two (like for a game or concert). For the price point, it gets 4 stars in comparison to other hotels at the same price. It's clear the owner if very dedicated to trying to make the customers comfortable and satisfied. I would stay again.

I stay here on a regular basis. Tried a few other places but they would change policies and/or pricing Scott Baker runs a nice place for the value amd as an owner amd manager,you'll find him painting or working on upkeep quite often.

While the hotel was acceptably clean the street noise was very loud and there were some angry "customers" yelling at each other and pounding on something outside our door. Not a very secure feeling. I went by the reviews when i booked this room so I was rather disappointed in these aspects of the hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.

I am an amputee, so when looking for a room I specifically sought out and paid extra for an accessible room. Upon arriving to check in at the designated time, I was told that they had no record of my request for an accessible room, that they do not charge extra for an accessible room, and that they only have two such rooms...both of which were already occupied. I asked for a shower chair, which was provided, but the room had no grab bars or other accommodations, so I was unable to bathe. The front desk person failed to acknowledge or apologize for the problem, and did not offer assistance such as a call to other nearby hotels to see if they might have accessible facilities. This was particularly disconcerting because, although the hotel shows its age, it was clean, with a comfortable bed and a free breakfast menu which goes to great lengths to accommodate people with special dietary or food allergy needs....and menu selections closer to the high end hotels in multi-level chains. This may go far in explaining the rating assigned by reviewers. Unfortunately, the behavior of the front desk person offset these plusses.

As many of the other posts the breakfast was quaint but very good. Eggs, sausage, ham, waffles, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, cereal, muffins and milk juice and coffee. The other unique thing to mention is breakfast was served until 11am and was always kept supplied. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While the rooms were at a very good price they were dated and needed upgrading. The main reason however for the 3 star rating had a lot to do with the mattresses. In our opinion they were way to stiff/firm. If you like great room prices, great breakfast, friendly helpful staff and very firm mattresses you will probably give this a 4 or 5 star rating but for us the mattresses made for very restless uncomfortable sleeping.

Would not recommend this motel. Did not feel it was family oriented, more like a truckers motel. Room appeared to be clean but there was a bad odor in the room. They do cater to pets if that is your need. Could hear trains going by during the night. We did not feel this motel came up to BW standards. Check in staff definitely needed additional training.

This is an older hotel. Moisture issues in the bathroom.No fan in bathroom. Entry door leaked air, causing the air conditioner and condenser running on and off all night. Very noisy. No hair conditioner or body lotion. Only an open bottle of shampoo at the vanity area. (Ewww) At checkout, I was never asked if everything was OK. This always bothers me. I feel they do not want to know if customer is satisfied, they just want you gone!

I stayed here for one night while stopping during a long road trip. It is in an area with several stores and restaurants nearby. It was nearly 1 am when I arrived and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It is an older style motel where you pull up your vehicle right outside your room. The room was clean, but it had a slightly musty smell to it when I walked in. It wasn't bad enough to where I would ask for a different room, plus I was extremely tired and it was very late. Overall, a decent hotel for the price.

We stayed here for a wedding for two nights. We got a notification that the hot water wasn't working so we would have to shower in a different room. They did discount us $40/night which was great. The pillows were also terrible. They were square in shape and they were high and hard. I couldn't even use them, slept without a pillow which also is not comfortable. Not a place I would recommend.

After 5 minutes in this hotel I really wanted to give it 5 stars. The owner is obviously 100% committed to the business. Take a look at previous reviews for the letter that each guest is greeted with including the owners personal cell phone number posted at various locations on the property asking for customer input. Unfortunately we discovered that the hot water was out in our building in the , standing naked in the shower. I called the office to see if they were aware of the problem, and they said they were and that they would make an adjustment on the room rate to recognize our inconvenience, and they had a couple of rooms available for showers in the main building. When we open our room door to go to the lobby for breakfast, we found a note taped to the outside about the hot water problem (!) Arriving to breakfast, hot food supply was depleted and the waffle mix was empty. After waiting several minutes for the staff to reappear we had to go! We ended up with breakfast somewhere else on the run, having dealt with a shower delay and waiting around for breakfast resupply. Back at the hotel for our second night I called the office to double-check that the water was back in service, since there was no note on the door or message in the room about the hot water status. Come to find out it was still not working! I visited in person with the owner in the lobby and he made an adjustment to our first nights room rate then offered another room in the main building. Next morning I struggled with the wifi connection (internet not available), went in for breakfast and found the same issues, no syrup, no waffle mix, just a few pieces of other hot foods items- first world problems, unless breakfast is a piece of the puzzle you considered when booking the room. I asked the irritated front desk clerk about waffle mix and he disappeared to the back after rolling his eyes and groaning. That was enough for me! Unfortunately, the owner is 100% invested, but can't do everything. As I told the owner, I don't think I could manage all of the details in a hotel, and these two days are an illustration of how many things can go awry. My three star rating is a compromise between what I want to give this property for effort, and how I felt at check out. All that being said, we will be visiting Goshen again several times over the next four years and may give this property another chance. I hope they're proactive about breakfast, and consider putting on a breakfast host or hostess. A smiling face, well stocked supplies, and quick attention to customer requests could have turned our experience around. Breakfast is the last contact most guests will have with a lodging property, and are a great opportunity to make sure customers are satisfied. Mr Baker, don't under hire for this position, it's a deal maker/breaker.

Friendly staff, clean room, hot breakfast. A good value in a very convenient location. This location is about a mile and a half from downtown Goshen. I don't think there is a hotel coser. I will visit again.

We stayed for 5 days and we could not get new sheet for bed they put old sheet back on them they said we dont wash the because we are a green hotel..... The tv set to high up its truly a pain in the neck to watch there TV. The high speed internet is slow. Not happy and i stay at BW alot i love BW but if you can keep driving past thus one up...

When we pulled up, I was a bit hesitant to check in because it looked very old. The staff was friendly and the room was impressively clean. It was a very small room, but clean and updated nonetheless. The breakfast was pretty par for the course. The price was a bit steep for the room that got, but all the hotels in the area are a bit overpriced. I'd stay here again, if I could negotiate a lower price.

My wife and I stayed here on November 18,2017. Would not stay here again. It is way overpriced for what you are getting. Notre Dame had a home football game that had ended about an hour before we arrived, but it seems like in Goshen you would be far enough away from the stadium to not have to pay a "football day" premium. Our bill came to $142.12. This is a disgrace for what you are getting. I do not need much-a Motel 6 is o.k. with me. And that is what you are getting here-a very plain and basic room with no frills. There was nothing wrong with the room although it was old and tired looking. But to pay that much for this place was ridiculous. My advice is to continue southeast on U.S. Highway 33 a few more miles and stay at the Super 8 on the east.

Room was clean and spacious and also had a microwave and fridge. No issues with the WIFI or tub and sink. The room was on the back side of the property and parking can be somewhat limited. The front desk staff was courteous. Small breakfast area, with limited items compared to other Best Western properties. Noticed they have a laundry facility to use.

I wasn't going to give this hotel as high of a score as I did but what turned me around was the honesty of the staff and the quickness to make amends. I had arrived late at night after talking to a large men's discipleship class and was looking forward to a first floor room. The young guy on the desk (who I learned was new) tried to give me a room on the second floor. There was no way that I was going to attempt getting my bicycle and gear up and down stairs. The guy found me a room on the first floor of the back building but he told me that he couldn't use the special rate that I had gotten through Booking.com. I was told that the room would have been a few dollars more so I agreed. When I checked my bank balance, I found out that the difference was actually around $20 more. I told the clerk who was on duty in the morning as to what had happened and he apologized, honored the Booking.com rate, and refunded me the difference. The room was quite large and clean. I had a good night's stay. There was a strong wifi signal. Breakfast was okay. If you were hungry at night, there was a pretty good Dairy Queen next door.

Never again will we come back here. The staff was friendly but that's about all I can say. The rooms are old, need some updating. The cleaning staff obviously doesn't care to clean as if they did they would have found the Marlboro Cigarette Pack in plan site under the TV stand. As we are non smokers I took the pack to the registration desk ( as if they find you smoke in the rooms there is a fine) and all I was told was " sorry". The curtain by the door had a large stain, which I didn't want to take the time to figure out what it could be. The parking area has Cigarette Butts everywhere. The food they serve in the breakfast area is pretty good, the eggs, sausage and ham were luck warm. I am hoping all Best Westerns are like this one.

After driving through the delightful Amish country to get here, it was pleasant to find a spacious room with a desk and comfortable office chair, as well as a table with two more comfortable chairs, and good light from the windows. Parking spaces are large, and there is plenty of allowance for trucks. Breakfast is served from 4 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and includes Amish pastries. Our room was quiet. The Guest Directory lists some local restaurants, and there is a Dairy Queen right next door. The internet is easy to use and of good quality.

Checking in here during the afternoon the smell of freshly popped corn fills your senses. Always greeted nicely by the desk clerk on staff (it MIGHT be the owner!) has been my experience every time I stay here. The lobby feels like your living room which I prefer to the sterile corporate branded look. 5+ years later and my experience (again) was 5 star. The train horns and rumble in the distance (ever present in this NE Indiana area) I interpret as another "Welcome Back!" greeting.... Thanks BW Goshen family!

There are 2 sections to the hotel. The back is a little newer. We were originally given a room in the old section. It seemed fine, until we pulled back the beds and they had not been changed. We were immediately moved to another room in the old section. It was good, but overall the rooms could have been cleaner. It needs some updating. Bring your own pillows. They only have the very small ones. Housekeeping was very sloppy while we stayed several days.

The pictures online showed a much cleaner building. Once we arrived it was obvious the place was in a lot of disrepair. Peeling paint, water stains etc. The lobby was kind of tacky with knick-knacks all over and it was very tiny. There was no proper dining room and we immediately knew we wouldn't be eating breakfast there. The room was clean but the beds were so uncomfortable and the linens were so thin it felt like we were sleeping with a sheet on us all night. No place to plug in your cell phone charger cords at all. I had to connect my lap top to charge everything which was a pain. They definitely need to update the room. There was a mini fridge, a microwave, and a one serving coffee pot which was fine. The TV had a great picture and the internet worked fine. So it wasn't the most horrible night ever, it's just the bed was so uncomfortable and we were so cold all night we didn't feel refreshed at all in the morning. For the price it was what you would expect. Just be aware if you need a good mattress this might not be the best choice. A few upgrades in the room and some repair on the exterior of the building would help. I couldn't believe it was even the same place when we arrived.

I have been to many different Best Western in the world and I choose them because I know what to expect. That's why I chose this one but were really disappointed : smelly room, noisy, poor level of equipment, ... Even if the personal was very smart, I will not come back.

Currently there is a major snowstorm here in Goshen Indiana and my RV was snowed in. They took the time to plow the lot and make sure I could get out. Amazing people! Rooms are also nice and clean. Great place to stay!

We have stayed at this Best Western starting in October. We travel across the US and our home base is here in Indiana. We were given a reference to this hotel because we had dogs. They welcomed us and our dogs without extra charges. The rooms are very clean and the owner Scott and his staff are wonderful. Very accommodating. We go out of our way to make our reset time end in Goshen at this hotel because it is very clean and friendly. We had to stay one other place one night and we won't do it again. Best Western in Goshen is our home away from home. We are from New Hampshire and dfont get home often. Thank you Scott very much and to your wonderful staff. Brian Bigelow

Clean comfortable stay, very good breakfast large selection green peppers mushrooms ham sausage scrambled eggs, with all the fixin's ketchup salsa exedra. Good coffee. The night I checked in there was a large part of ham and potato soup very good.

This was a comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Our room was clean. We had a nice over-sized mini fridge that fit all our beverages and cold foods plus it had a huge freezer for that type of refrigerator. Normally we can never refreeze our ice packs but we were able to put all four large packs in the freezer so we could keep our items cold for the next day. There was a nice laminated note on the dresser explaining how the owner's father was an innkeeper and how important it was to him to make sure all his guests were comfortable and taken care of and how the current owner wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. I thought it was a really nice welcoming touch. I've never seen something like that in any of the hotels we have stayed at. You might have a little something welcoming you, but this was a somewhat lengthy letter that really added a little something. It felt very genuine.

Over the past few months I have stayed at this hotel iver 20 times. They are very nice people and the rooms are always cleaned. They go out of the way to make sure that your stay is good. I will always stay here when I'm in the area.

I drive for an RV company stayed the night there to get some rest and got in late and still had to check out at 11 a.m. to me that seems kind of wrong I can understand getting in earlier and tapping to check out at 11 a.m. but not if you come in at midnight or 1 a.m.

I always stay here when I'm in the Goshen, Indiana, area. It's the best value in the city for your money. It's close to popular venues, clean facility, and has a friendly staff. An added bonus is a Dairy Queen next door!

This hotel is run by management that takes a true interest in its guests' satisfaction. All of the staff that I've encountered have been very polite and focused on customer service. While it isn't a 'fancy' hotel, it offers nice, clean rooms, a hot breakfast that is open for many hours, a tolerant pet policy, a nice area to walk your pets, and is situated in an convenient location. It is a great value for your dollar.

The Best Western Inn in Goshen, Indiana strives to truly be as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The rooms are excellently clean and comfortable. They are pet friendly and our little dachshund loves it here.

This best western is ok for a quick stay. The room was clean but a little outdated, the water pressure was great, room was decent size, bed comfortable but the pillows are small and mushy. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner unless you want to smell like an apricot. Room had a mini fridge, blow dryer, tv, ac, and a coffee maker. Very noisy however; close to a railroad track & hospital as well as you can hear the person in the next room. No elevator that i saw. Plenty of parking and wifi available. Breakfast area is tiny and options are limited but you can pay $1 and get as much soda as you want for a day. The staff was very friendly and courteous at check in. Okay for a quick stay, easy to find.

This hotel is a frequent place to stay for transporters of RV's from the local manufacturers. So, it is more engine noise than usual. The front desk room also serves as the dining room and is small with not enough tables. Although Lawrence tried his best to put the hotel's best foot forward, he had too many other factors that subtracted from the balance..

One of the reasons we stay here is because they are pet friendly. The staff worked with us and our room did not seem to have any accidents by prior guests. Rooms were clean and we were rested. This was not our first trip...

if you don't mind a dirty , smelly room with bad internet and a shower that changes temperature then this is for you. I found old bottle caps and trash on the floor. between the bed and night stand I found 1/2 of some kind if pill. i never touched it and it took housekeeping 2 days to vacuum it up. they never found one bottle cap that was laying on the floor so I took it to the front desk when I checked out.. at $100 a night that is equivalent to $3000,00 a month. should be able to clean it for that. .

Friendly, helpful, clean. Very close to Goshen College, minutes from downtown, easy access to highways. Great place to take your dog--nice areas to walk your dog with doggie bag stations, welcoming policies. Some conveniences like computer/printer access, washer/dryer, hot breakfast from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. ish. Best Western rewards. My favorite place to stay in Goshen!

I have never had a bad night at this hotel, Scott and his staff are always friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are looked after and have a good stay with them. When I am in the Goshen area I don't stay any where else.

We really like this hotel. They have a very good breakfast and the rooms are very nice. The staff is also very helpful and professional. Also it is friendly! It sets in a good location with a Dairy Queen right next to it and a pizza take out place . Also just down the road is a Mexican restaurant.

this was a decent hotel. The staff was nice and our room was very clean. The breakfast was ok nothing out of the ordinary but the area was clean. We stayed here one night in order to be close to the start line of the Pumpkinvine Ride. We would probably stay there again.

This is an old.old motel that inspite of appesrent updating ,still remains old and unattractive. It is very inadequate compaired to competitive hotels. Breakfast facility very crowded and limited offerings. Has an u;nclean appearance.

Wife and I are full time RV'ers and had to drop off our fifth wheel to get some work done to it. We wanted a less expensive place to stay, so we chose this hotel. When we checked in, there were four other guys checking in who were RV delivery drivers. There were also about four other younger males just "hanging out" in the office. One was playing some horrendous music on his phone. Must have been a video because he was holding it for a very large guy to watch. The desk clerk finally yelled at them, and they turned it down. The desk staff was very friendly and polite and got us checked into our room quickly. We requested a ground floor room, which is what we got. The room was large with a king bed, microwave and refrigerator. Our room was very clean, neat and tidy. We were here two nights and had a good nights sleep both nights. The internet was very good, never had an issue with it. There are a lot of RV transport guys that stay at this hotel, but none of them got out of line or created any noise. In fact, most were pretty friendly. The breakfast was average. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage and ham. Pastries and donuts, cold cereals, apple and orange juice, toast and coffee. They even had a soda machine. Soda was free with breakfast and after that, you could get a 32 ounce cub or refill your own cup for $1 and refill it for 24 hours! Very clean laundry facilities with vending machines that were reasonably priced. This is an older hotel, but they have done a pretty good job keeping it up. As past reviews have said, there was a letter in our room from the owner with his home phone and cell numbers. That is the first time we have ever seen that! Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would rate this hotel above average - somewhere between above average and very good. If we needed a hotel for a night or two in Goshen again, we would stay here again.

We truly consider Best Western Goshen our home away from home. The staff is a wonderful balance of professionalism and friendliness. No grumpy faces, ever. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I especially like the in room coffee service. The surrounding grounds are pleasant to walk in and they have very nice pet areas. Shopping and good restaurants are near by

We stayed here for two nights. We stayed because the took our dog. We were put in the rear bldg which is mostly occupied by full time residents contstuction workers or Truck drivers delivering RV's. At any given night we had people drinking beer outside our door. Drunks yelling at their wives or dogs. People hanging around smoking etc. The place really caters to RV delivery drivers who get a special rate of 67.00 a nite. The last nite we were there there were 17 trucks with travel trailers or fifth wheels . If this is good for you the place is fine. We really just didn't feel safe there.

The hotel is older with stairs (no elevator). Pros: mattress was ok, large TV, good, hot breakfast, microwave & larger than average refrigerator, room appeared clean. Cons: Train blows horn throughout the night when going through town, lots of trucks coming & going from parking lot, bathroom could use updates, need softer bed coverings.

As a transport driver that is frequently in the area, this is my go-to hotel for a great night's sleep. The property is family owned and operated and the owners are well known by the transport industry. While the hotel is an older property, don't let looks deceive you. The staff is always eager to assist and I have rarely met a more dedicated group of team members. The beds are always comfortable; the showers are always hot with plenty of pressure; the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves and flat panel TV's. There is a guest laundry facility. Hot breakfast is available every morning as well.

When we checked in the desk clerk was very helpful. We needed a room on the first floor plus a roll away. She quickly accommodated us. When she brought the roll away she made it up for us. When asked for places to eat she was ready with help for that also. The room was clean and looked like it had been recently remodeled. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Three of my daughters attended Goshen College. I first stayed in the Best Western in Goshen seventeen years ago when I had transmission trouble after bringing the oldest daughter back to campus. I have stayed many times since. In terms of appearance, little has changed. The hotel is not a new building in the style of new chain hotels. If you want that, head down the street to the new edition of another chain. Or keep going a bit farther to an earlier rendition of the same chain. What makes this hotel worth every penny is not the appearance, but the service. Certainly, the rooms have been updated in these last seventeen years. They are always clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, the WiFi reliable, the amenities available. The service, however, is unparalleled. From the moment you walk into the lobby, you are met with friendliness and care. In colder weather, there is often a pot of chili waiting in the breakfast area. In the mornings, you have access to the usual hotel breakfast foods you would expect from a more expensive chain. The new coffee machine means you can have a cup of fresh coffee or hot water for tea at any time, too. Still, the thing that has always struck me was the letter the owner in each room. He gives you his home number and his cell, asking you to call if you have any problems with your service or your room. What other hotel have you stayed in that offers that? One of my first visits to this hotel, a lake-effect snow hit during the night. The next morning, hotel staff had shoveled not only the sidewalks but around each car in the lot, so you could take your bags to the car without trudging through snow. In all the years I have stopped in this Best Western, THAT has been the kind of customer service I have always found. As far as I am concerned, you can keep the newer chain hotels down the street, fancier though they may be. I will continue to book rooms in this Best Western, where I know I will be treated well.

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The owners are so rude and disrespectful. I drove from Michigan down to see my husband, my husband got out of work we took our stuff into her room put the kids in the room left the door open and sit outside on the balcony to smoke a cigarette, well the owner walked up to us it was super super super rude about us standing there smoking. Little did we know we couldn't smoke right there ok fine we will move. She sat and yelled at us threating to charge us more money and that she had several noise complaints from people. So we went about our night never went back outside. Got up that next morning got the kids ready to go down stairs and get breakfast. So we go down stairs I told the lady at the front desk. I need to check out of room *** well the owner walks up and says, "DO NOT EXTEND THAT ROOM" I politely said I didn't ask to extend it. Well she got super crazy, started pointing her finger in my kids face and was yelling at them cussing at them. Cussing Infront of them threating to beat me up. Very, Very, childish people. I also called because it had a paper that says if your hotel experience was not 9 out of 10 please call so I called and all the guy could tell me was, " I'm sorry" that was it. Never again. Had to have the cops come and everything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO MY WORST ENEMIES. I give this place NO star's.

This hotel has wonderful mid-century modern charm. We find something new and improved each time we stay. The rooms are so very clean - and quaint! The beds are super comfortable. It sure beats the cookie-cutter hotels we have stayed in. This hotel clearly has owners who care a lot about maintaining their property and offering their guests a unique stay! We love the old feel of a real motel!!!!!!

We have stayed here 3 times in the last few months and never had a problem. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our room is always clean and inviting. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The wifi is a little slow but otherwise it's a nice place to stay for a night.

We stay here often on business. Very nice with a good breakfast and a very nice staff . The rooms are a nice size with comfortable beds and for us it's great that they are pet friendly. Also it's close to a couple of places to eat. Our favorite is Dairy Queen right next door.

Great hotel. Clean facilities and a good hot breakfast bar with lots of choices. the place has got some age on it but they keep it up and keep it clean. Very hospitable staff. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff and management make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean and well maintained along with the entire facility. I am a "regular" at this hotel because of work, but there are other options. I choose this one even though it is farther from the office because of the staff and quality.

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Goshen, Indiana for a family wedding. Building was old but rooms were clean. I was awakened during the night many times by trains going thru the area. I thought it was too pricey. I should have shopped around a little more. Probably would not stay at this BW if ever in the area again.

Always wonderful to stay here. Staff is always kind and helpful. They treat you like family. We stay every time we are in Goshen. Rooms are always clean. Breakfast is fresh. Even got made to order omelets. It was a special treat for the guests on Sunday morning. This is a home away from home.

Everything I needed for the day or two I was there. I have to be back in that area next month for another family thing so likely to book my next stay there very soon. I found the stores I needed nearby and even within walking distance.

I always stay here when I'm in the Goshen, Indiana area because I can count on a quality room at a reasonable price. The people are great, always ready to help. The coffee is always good & available, breakfast is nice.

We discovered after checking in that there was a freight train line running close by. Trains not bad at night but in the early AM 6:30 on--they blew whistles all through town. I wish I had checked into the direct from the outside access--noise cars all night. We found that the shower head seems to be corroding badly as after turning it on and showering--there was a sandy residue all over the front of the tub. I did tell the front desk and I am sure that Housekeeping has to have seen it before we checked in.

Below average hotel, the owner asks you to call them if it was anything less then a 9/10 but I was told he was on vacation. I do believe the hotel is moving in the right direction but the staff need work. The room smelled badly like smoke and I complained the first night and I received air fresh spray. The second day of stay I went back and complained about the smokey smell in the room and was told that they would put an ozone in there while we were out and the man took down out number. We came back after a long day at Norte dame and the room still stunk. I went to the desk and meet the same young lady who handed me the air freshener and she insured me that it would be done on the 3rd day of stay. It was never done, I threatened to call the owner since I was hoping not to have to, but I was told they were on vacation. I hope his room didn't smell like smoke like mine did, in a non smoking room. This room had rust in the shower and no liquid soap in the soap dispensers. I asked for liquid soap 3 days in a row and was handed bar soap. If I can give any advise after reading this review is don't stay in the hotel where you check in. Ask for a room in the newly completed and redone rooms next to that building and you should be fine. We found this out from other people that were staying at the hotel that there rooms were in better shape. I would not give the hotel a 9/10 like the owner asked it will be a 4/10. Great place to just crash if you don't care about the looks of the place. Also please switch up the breakfast, it was nice that it was included in the room and to wake up to a warm meal. But eggs, ham and sausage three days straight got. Old. Switch it up every other day. Thank you for allowing me to stay at your place. It would have been better if your staff just changed my room into a cleaner room. I stayed Thursday through Sunday for a Notre Dame game.

Very accommodating. Friendly staff. Clean neat rooms, good breakfast choices. Each of the staff we interacted with were nice. They offered us a bag of popcorn from the machine in lobby and made some up fresh for us. Offered us to stay in the 2nd building where they had just remodeled. Room was spacious, fresh.

Would highly recommend if you are in the area. Very personable staff. Quiet, no unwanted surprises. Great value, comparatively speaking. Have stayed here several times each year and have never had any problems. Surrounding area is very quiet also.

Wonderful food, friendly and quiet place. Loved the short walk to DQ. Great that they are pet friendly and feeding the stray cats. Clean, large fridge. Many choices in food. Fresh popcorn at night. Food available. 4a to 11a and more brought out when gone. Cereal, eggs, cheese, ham, sausage, sausage gravy, waffles, donuts, toast, coffee, juice and told bacon on Mondays. Huge variety and all with price of room.

Best Western Inn in Goshen, IN was clean and quiet. We were not disturbed by road noise on the nearby street. and we never heard any noise in the hall or in neighboring rooms.The breakfast was good. But there is nothing fancy here. It's just a good basic motel.

I recently left a less than favorable review after a stay last week. The owner of the property took the time to call me. He was very concerned about what had happened and interested in fixing the problems. I can tell you as someone who travels a lot this does not happen much, if ever. Scott turned the below average situation into one that I feel confident will be rectified. We plan on staying there in the future!

What a nice place!! Had to stay here while RV was being repaired. So glad we chose to stay here! American Family-owned hotel that actually cares about your comfort and satisfaction! Watched the owners (and most of the emloyees) working out all day in 80°weather...painting and landscaping. Spoke to a couple of employees who had no hesitation telling me what a great place they have to work...nice people....awesome to work for. Happy people here. Nice park...very pet friendly.

Stayed here for an ND football game. Was in room 302. The room was non smoking. It smelled of smoke. As if someone had just finished smoking 10 minutes before we came. Upon getting to the room we found 2 large bugs. In the morning we found 1 more. There was mold and midue in the shower. Rate was $162 a NIGHT!

From the letter the owner left on our desk welcoming us to his family and our recently decorated room, to the free popcorn, beautiful landscaping in and around the very attractive pet area, yes you can bring your pet, we felt very much at home. We will try their included breakfast in the morning but it looks and sounds like it will be equal in every way to the ones we receive at Hampton Inns, our hotel of choice. They don't accept little dogs however, which is why we are staying here! Great find!

We needed a hotel that allowed dogs. I understand that those rooms are going to be less pleasant but the room was not very clean and it smelled very very bad. Animal urine and cigarette smoke. There was also a wasp nest somewhere near our door so we could not open the door or the wasps kept coming in. The Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We unfortunately had to stay 4 days. It did have a nice big fridge, good breakfast, nice staff and nice grounds for walking the dog.

Great place to stay, beautiful green country side views, cute little town, love driving around out in Goshen. They have a good breakfast in the morning, and friendly staff! I really love staying here!

This hotel is by far one of the best I have stayed at. the rooms are always clean and the breakfast is a real and good hot breakfast, not just a stale old continental excuse for a breakfast. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I'm an RV transporter and stay at this motel a couple times a month. They are pet friendly as I have two small dogs. They're staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and neat and very accommodating and I request a first floor room if at all possible because of my one little dog getting up stairs an they always fulfill my request which is great. Breakfast is also good and they serve it from 4 - 11 and everything is available at close to 11 which is very nice. I will keep staying at this motel because of service. Keep up good work.

Room was very dirty. Had not been thoroughly vacuumed in a long time. Very dusty also. Soaps, etc were empty. AC did not work and blew out very musty air. There was a 1 inch crack under the door that I put towel in to keep critters out. So not worth $90 a night!!

Great place to stay and staff are super. great value and the price is fab. Rooms are clean and close to great places to eat. Overall my stay in Goshen was graeat. The breakfasts are hot with a good selection of breakfast items and the coffee is always on and hot no matter the time of day. For work it is great to have a place where I can print of documents I need.

This place is nice and comfortable, also, there is no problems with the seedier elements of society that you tend to find in the Elkhart area. Staff is friendly and does a great job. I would recommend this to people looking for a nice quiet place to stay, but there is not much here for kids.

They start serving breakfast at 4 am. Anyone who truly works for a living appreciates that. Beds comfortable. Middle of a renovation now but didn't think they needed it. Only bad thing was I was in Goshen.

The room as excellent. King bed with lots of room. Bathroom as adequate. The breakfast was ok. The lobby was a little too warm to enjoy the meal. Overall a great stay for the money. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived on the last day of the local fair and the parking lot was filled with RVs and trailers so I was concerned about the noise. But the crowd was respectful and friendly (someone even jumped our car when we discovered a dead battery) and we conveniently parked in front of our room. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, clearly interested that we have a good experience. When we entered the room it had a strange and unpleasant odor, so we asked to borrow some air freshener. The clerk offered to switch our rooms, but we really didn't have time to bother since we were attending a wedding, and he came over immediately to spray the room. We were back in the room after 10 pm and the smell was still strong, plus we discovered that the carpet was wet! Also an upholstered chair was wet. We were leaving the next morning, and it was late, so we didn't call the front desk. Unfortunately, the smell and the humidity of the room made for a sleepless night. The room itself was clean, pretty, and had good towels and mattresses. Also, there was a microwave and refrigerator. All in all, a great room, except for the dampness. I'm sure that if we had called the front desk late at night to ask for another room they would have helped us, but that seemed like a lot of trouble for just one quick night. We were checked out before breakfast. I'm guessing that the carpet had been cleaned, but had not yet dried.

The hotel was very comfortable and quiet and we were on the front, facing the main road. It was also fantastic that the breakfast buffet ran until 11:00 on Saturday. We got in late so it was wonderful to be able to sleep in and still get a hot breakfast.

This is an older property that is very well staffed and maintained. All are welcomed including pets. Breakfast is very good and there is fast food adjoining. Rooms are clean and quiet and well appointed.

Although outdoor room access hotels usually give people the impression of a 'motel' atmosphere, that is not the case at this Best Western. The owners take great pride in providing a comfortable stay for their guests. The room was very clean and the internet slight above average for a hotel. I travel for a living, and great service is far more important to me than amenities, so if you're looking for a welcoming, accommodating stay, you'll find it here.

I stay in this hotel BW every time I am in Goshen, IN. The owner has put a lot of money into it in the year that I have been traveling back & forth from Syracuse, NY. Every one I have ever met that is an employee have been super nice except one. I cant really recall her name think it started with a "K" younger girl working on game night last year they were also doing a tractor auction the night she was working. This girl was down right rude like she hated her job. However it only happened once that I have seen her so I will let that slide. The breakfast is nice and simple they make gravy for those of you interested in that. Limited seating so get in there early. Free night points needed is 8000. I have stayed there maybe twice for free out of the maybe 8-9 nights I have stayed. I am giving the hotel 3 out of 5 I don't feel I'm being harsh at all by doing so. There isn't a pool or hot tub other wise I would have given 4 out of 5. My main concern was the game night I showed up they doubled the price of the room wanting over $200 keep in mind this is a simple BW not a Plus or Higher, no pool or hot tub & they were asking $200. That night we left went down the road & stayed at Holiday in for $110. Now all the other staff is friendly & like I said the owner has put money into the hotel. I just hate Price Gouging so I'm giving a honest 3 out of 5. If your looking for a simple nothing fancy, but clean, for the most part friendly staff BW Hotel this is it.

Everytime I stay here it is always great. The staff are very nice and friendly and usually get me the room I request when I make my reservations. The breakfast is open from 5-11 which is so nice if you want to sleep in a bit. The room is always clean and comfortable and a nice thing they have done is install shampoo, conditioner, soap dispenser on the shower wall. I always stay here when I'm in town for work and highly recommended this hotel. There is also a nice park close by where you can walk around the lake.

Considering that it is Goshen and the age of the hotel, this wasn't a bad stay. The reception at check-in set us up to want to like our visit. Extremely pleasant and helpful. It's a motel so it isn't our normal choice, but as motels go, it is fine. Comfortable bed, well-equipped room, good breakfast, and clean. We would do it again.

I won't stay anywhere else in Goshen, primarily because this is the only dog-friendly hotel option, but also because of the spacious size of the rooms, the convenience of the motel-style room access, the pleasant outdoor areas, and the extremely friendly and helpful hotel staff. This is exactly what a small town hotel is supposed to be and after many stays it feels like home away from home. Nice job, Best Western Goshen!

Our trip was to visit Family & Friends in the area. The rate we found was very affordable. Then we found that they were pet friendly. We were happy to bring our Dog with us instead of having others take care of her at home. Upon arrival we were greeted by nice staff and found the room to be clean and nice. Any request we had was answered quickly and resolved. They even had a supply of DVD movies at the front desk to borrow and watch in our room. Nick, the night manager, went above and beyond. He asked us what type of movies we liked and brought several of his in to us to watch. THANK YOU NICK! We enjoyed our week with you! Thanks to all! We will be back!

My family and I being homeless with our kids and cat, searched everywhere and found all motels wanted either a pet fee or didn't accept pets at all. Here at Best Western, the Owner and staff LOVE pets. To them, the pets are family too, which is how it should be for any pet owner. We were greeted every morning with a cheerful "Good morning, how was your night?" which makes you feel welcome and appreciated for your stay, The housekeepers came in daily to provide clean towels and linens and anything else we needed . The breakfast every morning was always fresh and awesome. Fresh waffles, fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and even green peppers and mushrooms for really yummy omlettes. Cold cereal was an option and so was oatmeal, but we loved putting together our own breakfast, and cant forget the bagels, donuts, danishes coffee apple juice and orange juice. The owner, Scott, and his staff, Nick, Pat, Stephanie, housekeepers and others all made the stay awesome! Highly recommended for all travellers with fur babies, They are ALWAYS welcome and theres NO PET FEES! My family even helped the staff on weekends with making our beds and keeping our room clean. The staff themselves done an excellent job, we definitely felt like family, so I guess thats why the kids helped...or at least offered to help the house keepers. Good times! You can definitely expect to see us again!

My husband and I stayed here for a business trip. Room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. What made this experience for my husband and I was the personal note from the owner that was in our room. In all the hundreds of hotels we have stayed in over the years we have never seen such care and devotion put forth. It really makes you feel welcome and at home. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was a nice and kind gentlemen. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank y'all!

We have stayed with them regularly as we are in the transit business. The last two consecutive visits they have not honored our requested reservation. The straw that broke the camels back was the reservation made at 8 am and reserved with a credit card because we would be there after 6pm. When we arrived they had given our room to someone else. They even went as far as acknowledging that we had called early to reserve. Unfortunately, we will no longer stay with Best Western. You can't trust that your reservation will be honered.

This motel saw to all of the things that make a guest comfortable. The chili that was offered for an evening snack was above and beyond my expectations. Our dog loved the dog park and the biscuits she received upon check-in!

Best western goshen is a lovely place to stay. When you hear, we treat you like family, they really do. It's very clean and everything is up to date. Wi-fi in all the rooms, flat screen tv's. All at a very affordable price. There complimentary breakfast in the morning is very good as well, and help yourself to seconds.

Hotel was nothing fancy, just a clean, quiet and comfortable room. Staff was very pleasant. Loved having a refrigerator and microwave in the room! Morning breakfast was very nice. Only potential downside - there is a train that does pass by occasionally.

Pat is wonderful. We stay here a lot. Rooms are nice, comfortable and always clean. They have breakfast, always a good selection but they need a bigger dinning area. They have laundry room. They are family owned, the father open the hotel and his family is doing well keeping up with that great feeling of caring about their customers.

The room was clean, basic, nothing fancy accommodation. We were just passing through, so it was just fine for our needs. The bathroom was beginning to show signs of needing some refurbishment, but was otherwise clean.

This is the ONLY motel in Goshen , Indiana that you can bring your pet and NOT get charged a daily fee for them to stay. Pets are warmly welcomed and are free. You won't find that anywhere else in Goshen. I've looked. The staff here is kind and caring and do go out of their way to assure a good stay.

Nice motel with laundry facilities. We drive for Star Fleet and we needed to stay two nights to reset our hours for DOT regs. Great staff and great service. Breakfast was good and many choices available. I want to take the bed hone with me.... very comfortable. Will stay again when we are back in the area. I stay at the Best Western in Goshen whenever I am picking up in the area. The staff is great, the service is great, the location is convenient for me and the hotel itself is very nice!! I have never had a bad stay here!!!

This is a good choice if you get a commercial rate. Go elsewhere if you want to actually what you paid for at the normal hotel rates. I have never been impressed with the breakfast here but I feel safe here with my vehicle full of valuables.

I travel for work and this hotel is a good fit for me with its great hot breakfast, fast WiFi and large flat panel TV with a large channel lineup. This is the only hotel I have seen that gives you the owners home and cell phone number to call if you cannot leave at least a 9 out of 10 rating.

This is an older Hotel with many new upgrades and they are still upgrading . The beds are all upgraded and are a good place to crash on your way thru. They serve a very good hot breakfast bar in the morning at 5AM. They are close to Walmart, pizza joints and many other needs you may have. Its not the Sherton but its clean clean and great staff to help you in anyway possible.

I stay at the Best Western In Goshen when im in town transporting trailers and equipment. I will sleep in my truck before I stay any where else in town.The staff is first rate and the facility is always clean.

Room was perfect for us. Hotel is pet friendly with no addional fees. Nice walking area for the dogs. Hotel offered popcorn in the evenings and a free hot breakfast, starting at 4:00am for the early risers.

My title says it all but I would add that it is heartening to see management/ownership so proactive in the daily operations of the property. One thing that review agencies like trip advisor does, that tends to discourage reviews, is that they insist on a minimum # of characters in a review. Amazon used to do this but eventually realized the error of their ways!!!

First the good points - the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and the tv was new and large. That was about all the positive pints for this hotel. The room had not been updated for many years - wall paper was peeling off the walls, carpet was dirty and stained, tile floor in bathroom was dirty, fixtures in bathroom were corroded, headboard of beds had not been dusted/cleaned recently, beds were advertised as queen but were actually full (we werenot able to sleep in the same bed).

We chose this hotel enroute home after a weekend celebrating my husband's 50th class reunion. The hotel itself was built by the father of the current owner but it has been updated to modern standards. The room was clean, the Internet worked fine and the selection of tv stations was much better than the previous 2 nights we had spent at an "upscale" hotel. There was popcorn, pop, and coffee available in the lobby at night and the breakfast was the usual waffles, eggs, cereal, juice etc. we have come to enjoy while traveling. We were there on a Sunday night and it was pretty busy. I do not know what the rates are because we used points to pay for the room. Everyone from the front desk staff to the ladies cleaning the rooms were very friendly and the customer service provided was exceptional. I do not know if there was an exercise room or pool but I would lean towards not. My only complaint would be that there were no selection of restaurants in the area other than "fast food" but that could be because it was a Sunday night. I would recommend this motel if you are in the area for a few days or just for overnight.

Made very very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Great rooms and facilities, including in-room internet, and internet access in the lobby. Great selection of foods for breakfast. Comfortable rooms, fully equipped. Very comfortable beds. Good location, easy to find. Close to the town.

We still consider this our best hotel. This hotel is our home away from home.The staff is the best, the rooms are great and the price is excellent. And breakfast, well it is the absolute best breakfast from a hotel that we have had in the USA yet. To sum it up, this is the very best hotel around.

From the road this BW does not appear to be the norm with nice landscaping. The BW is surrounded by a sea of concrete, sharing a parking lot with a Dairy Queen. Once you are inside the BW, the rooms are fairly nice and the breakfast is adequate. The front desk staff was quite friendly. There is a lot of train traffic in the area. You can hear the train horns day and night. The WI-FI is hit and miss, mostly miss.

This place is a real dump and my last experience at a Best Western. This is a very old hotel that is in the process of being remodeled. Our room was dirty. The bathroom smelled of urine. The carpet was wrinkled and needed to be re stretched. The threshold on the door was broken. In the evening there was a group men that carried their chairs outside their rooms smoking and drinking beer. My wife stepped on 2 large bugs. It is hard to regulate the temperature on the shower. The stopper in the sink does operate properly and lets the water run through slowly and when you do finally get enough water to use and you are finished, the sink is plugged up so it drains very slowly. Wallpaper was pealing off the wall. We declined the free breakfast in the unappealing area. Again, this is an old motel and most of the doors to the rooms are outside doors and not in a hallway. That should be a clue. Being rated on Trip Adviser as the #1 hotel in Goshen makes me wonder about the credibility of these ratings.

beds were super comfortable. rooms were spotless, bathrooms well stocked. breakfast buffet had waffle maker and eggs w sautéed mushrooms, ham, and sausage, and biscuit gravy had lots of sausage bits. Front desk staff very helpful and efficient.

I stay at this hotel location at least 2 times a year while driving from MN to the east coast for vacation. The staff is always friendly and the rooms are very clean and modern. I also enjoy the breakfast every morning before we leave to hit the road!
