Room quite small, but clean. Charging for parking at this place was silly at best. Extremely convenient to the airport. Nearby restaurant served decent food. somewhat pricey for the quality.

Nice hotel right next to the airport. The room was clean and adequate for one night, a little on the compact side. Paid for an evening meal. A buffet with a good choice of food. The only surprise was an extra charge for the shuttle bus to the airport in the morning. Most airport hotels I've stopped at offer free shuttle service

An overnight stay after flying in from UK. Perfect and economic. Taxi 250 NOK. Clean comfortable small room, big enough bathroom with powerful hot shower. Simple self check in and out. Nice touches of extra linen, fans, ironing boards available from help yourself stations. Lounge and bar with simple food and drinks, also in house vending machine for drinks and nibbles, separate restaurant a short walk away. Very adequate breakfast to suit all tastes. Good coffee. Friendly staff available if required. Comfortable 15min walk to airport to collect our hire car. Aiden suited us

Good location close to the airport. It's a low budget hotel so to be fair you cannot expect much. Room was small but clean, so okay for just spending a night. The noise level in the morning was high due to people leaving and after 4am it was basically impossible to sleep even with airplugs. The dinner was overpriced with 275kr for a cold burger, so I would recommend to find somewhere else to eat for dinner.

Stayed 1 night after late arrival. At midnight stuff was there, self check-in is easy. Single room is small, but you absolutely do not need bigger. Taking into consideration that it's the only one hotel near airport, I was surprised with all the services they provide: 24/7 access to the dining area, where you can make tea, or take hot water. At midnight guests were still there sitting, having some snacks. But no noise in the room at all. Breakfast was nice as well, a little bit of everything you need. And self check out is easy as well. Zero complaints and a big surprise why others complained.

Great place, as long as you have a car. In general areas surrounding it are beautiful, the climate is nice (sometimes). The best thing about the hotel is the people, honestly the staff has been absolute saints. The fact that it's so close to the airport adds to its functionality. If you don't mind a bit of mud and hard walks, you'll love the mountain hikes. In conclusion, if you come prepared... you'll have a blast! Also the cakes are fire

5 minutes by taxi from the airport. About 20/25 euro Lovely helpful and friendly staff. Easy check in and I'm definitely not tech savvy. My single room was equipped with everything that I needed. My bed was pretty narrow but comfortable and the room was spotless. Fantastic shower. Really helped to wake me up after a full days travel the day before. This is not a boutique hotel but it is quiet, spotless, with lovely staff. Thank you.

Truly an awful place to stay. Rooms barely fit the beds and one small chair. The whole bathroom is about 1.1m x 1. 5m. Norwegian prison cells are more spacious than these rooms. Not kidding. Search it. There is no staff anywhere. The dirty dishes from breakfast were piled on dining tables by 8am with no workers to be seen. We needed to stay two more nights in the area and left this hotel for another that was 15 minutes north. It was half the price, very comfortable, and had lovely staff.

The self-checkin is a bit rubbish... A member of staff was on hand to help but got a bit snippy when I needed help... The rooms are small but adequate for one night and it is convenient for the airport (but you have to walk along a main road with no pavement for past of the way!). The shower is good, as was the food, although since it's self-service it was no surprise to find a hair in one of the dishes...

Perfect hotel to spend one night before my flight. Located a short walk from the airport. Beautiful views from the rooftop terrace. Dinner was a bit pricey but it's Norway and an airport hotel, you can't expect the prices to be cheap. You're getting a lot of food for the price though and the breakfast buffet was great.

Horrible night, when Kids go to bed at 8:30 and a first fire alarm at 9:00 pm. We all go outside. The team say it was a false alarm manually triggered. Then it was not sorted. It rings again at 9:30. And at 10:30. And then again at 00:02. It was okay between 00:02 and 4:30 when we left for the airport. They cannot say it is sorted. Yes the fire alarm does work well. But when a guest manually triggers the alarm, this should not happen twice. There is a problem either with the system, or with the management. And there should be another hotel, close, to make healthy competition. The team when we arrived was helpful enough for the check in, and the dinner buffet was good.

Everything you need for one night before the flight and even more. Very clean, modern building, sauna and fitness, breakfast from 4 a.m., free shuttle to the airport.

Best about this hotel is the location but also the level and efficiency of self service. Loved the grandma's kitchen vibe in die dining room where the meals are hearty, wholesome and fun.

Small rooms, unable to control temperature in the room, WIFI good, no coffee in rooms. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel very convenient to airport with reliable shuttle to airport.

Staying at Aiden was a lovely experience. We arrived late in the evening and were treated to a delicious dinner. This was most welcome after a long journey. Our beds were comfortable and breakfast the next morning was another feast. Thank you for 5⭐️ treatment.

The rooms were very small and so was the bathroom. The walls were thin and you could hear your neighbors talk durning the night. The showers seem to be just placed on the bathroom floor, and leak everywhere because of this. However, it's an extremely convenient location and is better than sleeping at the airport.

Great room for the price. No frills, but has all the basics. Has a restaurant with good food for dinner and breakfast. The handicap accessible room was very large. The only thing I would change is the towels. They look like rags.

Very very close to Narvik airport but not safe to walk to or from the airport due to busy road no sidewalk and hotels hillside location.Taxi fare from airport was extortionate even for Norway but the hotel does offer a free shuttle to the airport at certain times - best to check with staff The room was basic but very clean and fresh and joy of joys excellent lighting (so many hotel rooms are so gloomy) The room was quiet .Buffet evening meal and breakfast were very good value - the breakfast as good as much more expensive hotels in Norway. The hotel has a modern vibe and super helpful staff especially Vasillis

Jerry and the staff at this location were fantastic. Cheery, helpful and accommodating and made us feel comfortable for a short one night stay thanks to a cancelled flight. Quick walk to airport but didn't even need it - for a 615 flight there was a 5 am shuttle that had us to the airport at 5:01 and at our gate through security by 5:07. So easy! Not much around the hotel at all but a very pleasant stay. Surprisingly good dinner and breakfast (fresh salads, warm bread, muesli, stovetop dinner options). And well equipped gym (even a squat rack!). Unfortunately the sauna was closed while we were here. Everything felt clean.

Great service, very friendly staff, super convenient for the airport

The room was never cleaned the two weeks i stayed. You have to pay 180 nok (about 20 usd ) for parking each day! In the middle of nowhere!! The rooms are really small and look less inviting than a workers rig room from outer Canada. You pay a lot for very little, recommend to drive to a proper hotel in Harstad, Tjeldsund, Narvik or something if you can, it costs about the same for a room three times the size. The soap in the shower went empty the second day so I had to pick up a hand soap from the hallway closet. Towels are not switched out and you have to walk through the entire hotel to drop off your dirty ones and pick up fresh ones. The breakfast is good though and there is a sauna and gym even though they are usually full until closing hours. The self checkout works ok but it is very annoying to have to call the staff each time you have a question or want to buy a beer. Dinner is expensive (300nok) and usually tastes the same each day (ok but not very good). Overpriced beer in cans is available, no tap beer.

Had a great stay at Aiden Hotel in Evenes! Clean and comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, and a great location. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it and stay here again!

One of my most memorable stays in Norway. I initially chose this hotel because I had an early morning flight, and its proximity to the airport (about 1.3 km away) made it very convenient. But beyond the location, the overall experience was excellent, with truly warm European hospitality. The hotel offers a fully equipped gym, a sauna, and even a deck where you can try to catch the Northern Lights, which adds a special touch to the stay. The rooms were very clean and thoughtfully maintained. I especially appreciated the quality of the hand wash and soap, they didn't feel like the typical mass-produced hotel products, but something more premium. Small details like this really stood out. The TV with built-in Chromecast was also very useful, especially for relaxing and streaming content. The breakfast setup was another highlight. Since my flight was at 6:30 am, I could only try the cold breakfast, which starts as early as 4:00 am. Even then, there was a great variety of options, including breads and spreads, and everything was well presented. They also provide an airport shuttle in the morning, which turned out to be very helpful. I had initially planned to walk to the airport, but the shuttle made things much easier and more comfortable. Overall, this was one of my best stays during my Norway trip. Considering I was backpacking and staying across a mix of hostels and hotels, this place really stood out.

You are charged for parking for a hotel just nearby the airport. There is plenty of space, a little bit special due to my opinion. Room was very small and simple, but clean. The signing of the rooms was not sufficient. We had to ask other guests where to find our room as the reception desk was not occupied. The room number was missing at the door, so we had to test with the keycard to find the right door. The hotel has an early bird breakfast starting at 4 a.m. which was very good.

Very expensive hotel with poor connection services to the airport: the shuttle only works in the morning; if you arrive in the afternoon they force you to take a taxi that is outrageously expensive (almost 50 euros for 2 km). Room was very small and had a weird and unpleasant smell. Rest ok

The hotel is okay with a good breakfast, didn't sleep well that night because there was a generator or heat pump that was very noisy all night. had room 208 facing the parking lot. told the staff, who said they would sort this out during the day. nice staff 😊😊

I wouldn't stay at this hotel for more than one night and ONLY to be close to the airport (~10 min walk). The electronic self-check-in is lazy and actually makes you do more work in the end (inputting a lot of personal information on arrival). The rooms are painfully small, cold & uncomfortable, and, again, should only serve as a place to rest your head before an early morning flight. The eating/gathering space on the first floor would probably redeem the stay a bit, but we didn't eat because it was insanely priced. We ate at the little restaurant that was like a 3-minute walk away. And, we did appreciate the shuttle, but note that it ONLY runs at a few specific times per day! We had a 6am flight to Oslo, so luckily the 5am shuttle worked, but they wouldn't pick us up from the airport outside of the 3 designated shuttle times.

Had a nice stay at Best Western Harstad. One night only. Friendly staff, had dinner that was ok, not fancy but ok. Simple and good breakfast. The room is what it is, its not high standard but had a good night sleep and it was clean. Had room with window towards the airport, but did not experience that much noise. Overall I had a good experience. The only thing thats not so nice is when you leave for the airport you have to walk a long the highway, with a lot of traffic and the polar night this time of the year it is a bit sketchy when you don´t have a car.

Thought the price for a night at this hotel was ok. When we arrived we had to pay for parking. ( new to us) Suddenly it was a expensive night. Also it is a small parking place. So i had to put the car near a wall and take a chance that not ice from roof would fall down on the car. We had to put the sheets on the bed ourself. Very bad extra bed on the family room. Not comfortable at all. Staff was good. Breakfast was ok.

Simple amenities, lovely buffet breakfast, great view from terrace. Laid back vibe in bar with board games. Evening meal not vegetarian. Worst bit is the walk from the airport in the dark… no pavements! Not for the faint hearted m!

We chose this location because of late arrival, thinking it was a walking distance from EVE airport. It is about 18 minutes walk. I called the staff 2 days before arrival to find out more, I was told it was not recommended due to no street light, very dark, no sidewalk and will be walking on the side of a 'highway'. She recommend we book a taxi, cost bout 250nok ($25). 2 taxi companies contact info were provided. I called right away, the taxi company told me to call back the afternoon of my arrival. I did but was told too busy to take my booking and I ended up booking with the 2nd taxi company which charged us 500nok ($50, a ripoff) for just a few minutes ride. Here is what we found out. There are street light not pitch dark. Only a very short distance was on the 'highway'. It is just a 2 single lane street, not exactly a highway. Breakfast was excellent, lots of variety. Room is tiny. Tiny sink and a very small table.

The room has the charming of a plastic bag (they call it allergic friendly, but it's just easy to clean). Nearly no staff, guests do everything themselfes, even clean up tables after breakfast. Online check in didn't work. Breakfast was ok, so I gave 2 points.

Avoid this hotel – they do not honor their commitments. I stayed at Aiden by Best Western Harstad Narvik Airport. My booking included in writing free parking, confirmed both in writing and at the reception desk. Despite this, I later received a parking fine. The hotel admitted responsibility and twice promised to refund me after asking for my bank details. More than two months later, no refund has been paid and the hotel has stopped replying to my emails. This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable from a hotel operating under the Best Western brand. I strongly advise other travelers to avoid this property.

I was pretty underwhelmed by the tiny room we had with even smaller beds. Our sink was so small and so low it felt like a urinal. You couldn't put two suitcases down in the room and walk to the bathroom without tripping over them. However the room was very clean! I was having lots of trouble with the Internet and the sweet and technically savvy housekeeper, Monsicha, helped me get on. When my Internet dropped again shortly thereafter, Jerty and Ellen in the reception area were able to help me. I really appreciate it the staff's willingness to assist me and I gave this hotel a higher rating because of it. It's only about a 15 minute walk to the EVE airport, which my husband and I did. As long as you have decent wheels on your suitcase, you can save money on a half mile taxi ride. There is also a restaurant right next-door to the hotel that's rated decently (we did not eat there). There's also a Circle K very close that offers drinks and snacks and bacon wrapped sausages. The included breakfast in the morning was decent. The TV has at least one or two English channels. It was self check in and self check out. The hotel served the purpose for which we got it which was to be close to the airport for our morning flight back to Oslo.

We had been to this hotel for many times due to the location. But find this is a ‘hotel' full of loopholes, extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. 1. Overcharging: The hotel charged more than the actual booking amount and only admitted their mistake after repeated complaints. 2. Severe security breaches ：The most unbelievable thing is that they assigned us rooms that were already occupied. After checking in and opening the door, we found that someone was already staying inside. This bizarre incident happened not just once, but twice! On one occasion, someone was even in the shower—it's easy to imagine how shocked and helpless that innocent guest must have felt. 3. Poor service attitude: The hotel receptionist had a very bad attitude during check-in. She was cold and unwelcoming multiple times, and every time the rooms she assigned to us had some sort of issue. 4. Chaotic and irresponsible management: This hotel offers different prices for double, twin, and single rooms. However, we were charged the higher price for a double room but given a cheaper single room instead. When we approached the receptionist, Christina, to request a room change, she first brushed us off, claiming that there were no double rooms available. Later, she said she was unsure whether the double rooms had been cleaned—despite it already being 17:00, well past the 15:00 check-in time. 5. Lack of basic amenities: Many times our rooms had no hairdryer, and no one resolved the issue. We hope the hotel manager will take these issues seriously, improve service quality, and ensure that guests do not feel disappointed.

Given the price for Norway hotels it was much better than expected, especially having read some of the other reviews. The room is small and basic but clean and the bed is comfortable. There is ample free parking. Staff were friendly. We ate dinner there and breakfast was included. Dinner was reasonable value and quite nice, a buffet of salmon (and some other fish), potatoes, salads, cold meats, cheese and bread. The Northern Lights came out above the hotel just after checking in, around 18.00 on 21 Dec. Later on we drove a few miles to the sea for better views. Would stay again if we need a stop over by the airport.

Booked a double room.. Got a single room. Very small room. Bathroom was spacious . Evening meal choice was poor . Would be nice to get the room you booked. Taxi price to hotel was only £4 each unlike the extortionate prices others reviewing quoted. Nice roof terrace . Staff polite.

Had a terrible stay. At check-in, we were not able to check ourselves in due to an error with their systems. Despite ringing the bell, we had to wait 40 min for a staff member to come to help us. She was super rude! Checked into the room. They are absolutely tiny and very uncomfortable. Linen wasn't the cleanest. Gym and sauna facilities (which were an attraction and reason why we booked) were out of order. Requested assistance from staff a couple of times. We received reluctant support almost as if the staff were doing us a favor and didn't want to do their jobs. The breakfast in the mornings was very mediocre. They are extremely expensive given what they provide. We stayed in a 4 star hotel in Narvik the evening before which was cheaper, and made this hotel look like a -4 star.

I arrive hier for one night, new hotel is just 0.9km from harstad airport katvik. Very nice, friendly staff on reception. Clean room, with own bath, shower, air condition and satelite TV, was enought for enjoy my stay. Thank you for great experience with beautiful mountain view.

The refurbishment of the hotel has not been finished yet, but rooms are clean and quite. The hotel is cheap (norwegian prices) with a good ratio quality/price. Dinner and breakfast were both good and large. The rooms with lake view are sensibly more quite than those on the road side, if you keep the windows open.

if you are looking for a hotel close to the airport to catch an early flight than is a good option.The rooms are new and spacious. The breakfast is self service and in fact the least we had during our trip in Norway. but that is not why you book this hotel. The hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport - only 2 min drive.
