It was my worst experience at a best western. Don't stay at the Enola best western plus on woodland Ave. it was out dated, dirty. The devour had holes and it was extremely worn. There was a constant banging at night that kept me up all night. Stay away!!

Played Armitage Golf Course 2.2 miles away then stayed at this hotel afterward. Easy access from RT 81. A nice dinner on RT 15 just 5 miles away in Maryville (Maryville Dinner) was excellent. This hotel was excellent for the price ($84) quiet, clean, nice beds, and a hot shower. Friendly and helpful staff on all shifts. Only drawback, breakfast- this chain will never put IHOP out of business.

The hotel was run down over all but that's not a problem. The problem was trash not being emptied and used towels in the bathroom. The room didn't appear to be vacuumed. I told the front desk and asked for a new room. She was nice enough to empty the trash but did not accommodate a new room. We were next to the exit and heard people going in and out all night. It was a horrible stay.

Rooms are dirty, sheets were stained and not changed over from previous guest, bugs were crawling on bed and near AC. We left and changed over to a different BW Hotel on busiest weekend in the area more distant from our planned vacation location, ended up costing more money as rooms were limited in the area. DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !

Overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor especially the carpeting throughout the hotel, bedsheets dirty, shower curtain dirty. Ice machines on all three floors were broken and not functioning. The AC unit at the end of the hall was broken and not functioning our entire stay. Refrigerator in the room was ok but the ice compartment would not keep anything frozen. Hair drier was broken and dangerous if plugged in. To end on a positive note, Raven the desk clerk was the best thing the hotel had to offer. She was friendly, very helpful in answering all our questions about the local area including restaurant recommendations and directions. Greeted everyone with that awesome smile and positive attitude.

Walked in to the lobby and was greeted with, reservation, me yes, clerk , ID, me ok , me, any place to get some food around here, clerk points at a take out menu on counter, hands me the paper I need to sign, puts the key on the counter and points to the room #. I THINK THAT WAS THE MOST UNFRIENDLY CHECK IN I HAVE EVER HAD, If you're going to be in the hospitably business, be hospitable.

Not at all well kept. Had to change rooms as my dog found uneaten food under bed in first room. Front desk person was unfriendly and disinterested. No restaurants nearby. Inconvenient. When I asked front desk clerk for info about restaurants, he threw a pamphlet at me. I will NEVER stay there again

We needed somewhere decent to stay midway on a road trip. Ignored the other reviews before me. INSTANT REGRET. This place is dirty. It took HOURS for the room to cool down to a livable temperature. Surfaces were disgusting. Hair in the floor. Thank the good Lord we all decided to forego showers because no….just no. I am literally typing this review from the room and I cannot wait to get the heck out of here.

I've stayed in hotels aa lot and find this hotel the worst. I am a platinum member and chose Best Western for a hotel that gave a good value and have stayed in BW many times and never had a problem until this stay.

I was in the area for an event and found several options in the area around $150 a night. However, I had a couple of Best Western gift cards so we decided to stay at this location despite it being close to $300 a night. The good parts - the location is very centrally located. It is easy to get to downtown Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg. Also, the lobby/entry area is very nice and the check in process was great. Plenty of parking, even with a tour bus parkers horizontally across several spots. Well lit outdoors. Shades blocked out light well. The not so great parts of the stay - The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the bathtub dripped nonstop. We were on the ground floor near an side exit and even with a sound machine on (which I use whenever I travel), we could hear the side exit door slamming starting at 5am as guest departed. This wasn't a big deal and wouldn't of prompted me to write a review, but the cleanliness of the room was a big issue. The room was pretty gross. The bathroom floor was really dirty, we found trash left in the mini-fridge and a pen cap on the carpet so it clearly hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. I ended up purchasing a pair of cheap slides locally to wear as "shower shoes" and in the room given the state of the floors through the bathroom/main areas of the room. There are many other options at a much cheaper rate.

Do not stay here. They gave me a confirmed price and charged me more than the amount that was confirmed after taxes and charges. Front desk was not able to change the charges to the confirmed price. Manager was not there and the people working the front dest either could not or would not change the rate to the confirmed amount they contracted this room for. I called again a few days after the stay and gave them my number so the manager could call me back. I never got the call back after 5 days. This is the main reason for this bad review. Will probably never stay at a Best Western again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice place to stay. Staff in the morning was very helpful and accommodating. TV remote never worked but the TV on our trip south didn't work at all in another BW; maybe it's a PA thing. Room was very clean, breakfast was what you would expect but the staff in the morning could not have been more helpful. Will stay at this place next year on way down and back.

2nd stay at this hotel and we will come back again. Very clean , nice rooms and smiling staff. Beautifully clean styled rooms and extremely comfortable beds, I will be back again. Stain on the carpet, used coffee in the coffee maker, microwave missing glass plate. Breakfast was really, really terrible. Just expected a better experience. Paid a higher rate the some other Best Western's nearby to get a nicer place.

I made two separate reservations for our daughters checking in from out of state. The one checking in Friday to Sunday arrived 6am Saturday morning to no reservation in the system, but they were able to find them a room to accommodate them. The other was checking in Saturday to Sunday arrived at 10pm to another canceled reservation to which they booked her another room. However, upon walking into said room, it was completely unkempt, as if housekeeping had not touched it. Front desk individual walked her through the entire hotel checking all rooms marked "clean" in the system until they finally found one. Completely unacceptable. Not one time were they offered a discount or anything for their inconvenience. I would have expected a call or email from a manager apologizing for the many issues that were had, but nothing. I will definitely second guess myself before booking with this company again.

Do not stay at this hotel. It was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The bathroom was dirty… our first room the tub wouldn't drain so we moved to another room. There was not a top sheet on the bed, the floor was dirty and the bathroom in the new room was just as dirty as the first. The shower curtain was stained and the shower had not been cleaned. There was also urine around the rim of toilet. When we left… it was a little after 6. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6-10. The fridge was padlocked and nothing was out. No staff anywhere. It was late and we had been driving for 16 hours and I had already paid for the room or we would have left. Horrible experience!!

This hotel is not up to the usual Best Western Plus standards! My husband and I were given a room with a bathroom that was not clean. There were urine stains on the toilet rim. The desk clerk said there were no other rooms available, and he came to clean the toilet himself. Later, I found a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The rug was stained in several places and had a 2" hole in it. An outlet behind one of the nightstands was pulled out of the wall. Only one of the nightstands had a lamp. The sanitizer dispenser entering the lobby from outside did not work. I should have demanded another room - very few people were staying there. We left very early the next morning as we couldn't stand to stay any longer.

My wife & I are 64. Travel a lot. Disappointed in this Best Western. AS unit not working properly, fire alarm beeping. Had to switch to different room. Not serving hot breakfast: "Our kitchen is too small". Also tiny eating area so plan to eat in your room. Staff not wearing masks. We would not stay here again.

This hotel is disgusting. The lobby is not clean. The floors are filthy… in the lobby, elevator, hallways and rooms. They have no housekeeping staff. Common surfaces such as the tables in the breakfast area and the buttons in the elevator are not wiped down and sanitized. The rooms were dank and musty. We were traveling with family so we had 2 rooms. Thankfully they connected because the bathroom in one of the rooms was so dirty it was not useable. We complained to the front desk about the black mold, dirt and pubic hair in the bathtub and we were assured it would be rectified AND they would discount the room. That NEVER happened. Unless you plan on cleaning everything yourself, I strongly discourage anyone from staying here.

FILTHY, we should have switched hotels but was to late in evening, as it was, we had to switch rooms three times, worst besides FILTHY CARPETS, was a big wad of hair IN BED!!!! not only were carpets filthy there was trash and what looked like raisins on the floor (they did not move so that's good) walls had some sort of stuff splashed on them, sinks and tub did not drain so had to rewash feet. I still feel dirty and it was enough to make me question ever staying at a Best western, which is NOT FAIR to the lovely INN we stayed in at Mendenhall which is also owned by Best Western.

"CAUTION: Unprofessional and Deceptive Management"

We have stayed at this hotel over a dozen nights over the last year and many times before. It is clean, affordable and convenient. Hotel staff (Josh, Nakia, etc) always helpful when you are there--eventhough they are grossly understaffed. Problem with this hotel is the manager--Mark Thompson--is never around and not responsive. On one stay our grab and go breakfast had expire milk because he did not order in time. Hotel staff went to Turkey Hill next door ON THEIR OWN ACCORD and got milk so the kids could have cereal. Pool was closed another time because Mark never got the water tested and chemicals done. Staff put a kids movie on in the lobby and made a bag of popcorn to entertain them while we did some work off to the side. Many other examples of a good staff covering for a lazy manager--Mark Thompson. Mark Thompson also never trains his staff on how to apply appropriate discounts, promotions and gift cards. Our last 3 stays we have tried to use the same gift cards and he has never trained them how to do it or authorized them to approve the use of it. These are simply Best Western gift e-gift cards with the instructions printed on them for how the Front Desk should apply them. He does not allow them to accept without his permission, yet he is never there to give permission. The staff went so far as to say they do not have his direct number to call him on. We stayed for 3 nights in a row a month ago and he never once came in, checked in or was available to the staff to approve. Each time they tell us to just check out and he will issue a credit card refund in when he comes in. After a month of calling the hotel, the management company and emailing them Mark Thompson has never responded or issued a credit. This is not the first time either. This hotel is nice, but there are plenty of others in the area that will respect your time and money better. This manager, Mark Thompson, hopes you will forget about it and he will make a few extra bucks. That is about as dishonest and unprofessional as you can be, in an industry that is customer focused. Rating is a solid 4 in my book, but they deceptive business practices of Manager Mark Thompson cut it in half to a 2. The fact that he has done this to us more than once (which means he does it to othet customers and it is intentional) cuts the 2 in half to a 1 for my rating.

Was traveling for business. Quiet and comfortable location. Hotel was nicely maintained inside and out. Rooms were clean. Staff was there when needed. Close to store and shopping mall. Fitness center is private, pool clean and breakfast hot.

The lamp when you enter the room didn't have a lightbulb. We told the front desk clerk and he said he didn't know where lightbulbs were located. He said the person relieving him would bring a lightbulb to our room. If he wasn't watching the Daytona Nascar race continuosly with the people in the lobby, he could have looked for a lightbulb. We never got a lightbulb for our desk lamp during our entire stay. The tissue box in the bathroom was empty. I asked the front desk clerk for a box of tissues. He said the hotel was totally out of tissues but he could give me some napkins. He gave me FOUR napkins in place of an entire box of tissues. I said I needed more so he gave me about 6 more. This is not adequate for someone with allergies. I have never stayed at a hotel that ran out of tissues and I travel very often. The ice bucket was extremely dirty. The soap dish in the shower was very dirty and looked like it had a lot of mold in it so we didn't use it. The tub was very slow to drain. There was a lot of hair behind the bathroom door. The carpeting next to the head of the bed and nightstand was filthy. It looked like it had not been vacuumed in a very long time. The breakfast was good. The price was reasonable. The hotel has the potential to be very nice. It has a pool and rooms with a microwave and refridgerator. It needs major housekeeping improvement and staff that know basic things for working at a front desk.

DON'T STAY AT THE BEST WESTERN PLUS IN ENOLA, PA!! Roaches in rooms, bathtubs that don't drain for the entire stay of 4 days, bathroom sinks that clog, blood stained and dirty sheets and blankets on the beds, trash on every floor next to the elevators that sits there for days, housekeeping who don't clean the rooms so there's garbage under the beds, microwaves aren't clean, room refrigerators leak, and a manager named Mark who says “take a message” and hangs up on employees when they call him to say the guests have found multiple roaches in their room instead of offering various solutions. Sad when talking to other guests they're complaining about the same issues your party is having. Even sadder when the employees complain to the guests about the state of the hotel. Oh and their elevator certificate of operation is expired as of June of 2021. Just called corporate and all they said is they would send the complaint to the hotel.

The rooms and hotel itself are maintained and cleaned regularly. Employees were welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was simple and easy. There was plenty of parking and outdoor areas. Impressed with the pet walking area. They even supplied bags.

This hotel should not be considered a "Best Western Plus" hotel. It was filthy, poorly managed and in serious need of repair. Considering the concerns of cleanliness over COVID and the return to travel, I expected at least a clean room. The room was filthy. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in years. It was disgusting. Stains in the tub and peeling paint in the bottom of the tub where they tried to paint over the stains. There was hair stuck to the walls, the sink, the tub and the phone. The furniture in the room was worn around all of the edges, pieces were breaking off and the refrigerator cupboard had holes in it that had broken away from what looked like water damage. When I asked to switch rooms, I was told there were no other rooms for the night. If I wanted a different room for the rest of my stay, I could move to a room with a broken bed. That did not work for my teenaged daughter and me. The upside of all of this were the staff members I spoke with. Although they could not help or offer solutions, they were kind and understanding.

Great place, close to Hershey Park, Chocolate World. Comfortable beds, clean room and quiet location. We will be back. Excellent customer service (thanks, Cheryl!). She dealt with any issue, even when Manager was not there. Congrats! Only negative point is for breakfast not being offered due to Covid. Most of the people are vaccinated and the ones who didn't get the vaccine, should not be traveling anyway. Resume breakfast or offer a discount. C-

Upon arrival we were greeted in the lobby by a drunken guest who was sitting across from checkin the csr should of told them to leave the area. My wife was feeling uncomfortably by the person. The csr charged my card 2xs when I had a free night than couldn't reverse charges said manager would be in in AM. Room was not cleaned dirty towels still in bathroom on floor behind door no soap or any towels anywhere except the used ones making you think were the bedsheets changed? In the am the csr said that there is no manager and he was unable to fix the charges. Said manager would call yeah right never did. I would rather sleep in my car than go back to this location. Go up the road to the new Fairfield inn

The rooms were not clean, paint peeling off ceiling, toilet seat broken, bedspread not clean, had dirt marks on it. Chairs in lobby worn out. I overheard the front desk manager telling a customer that Best Western lets people overbook rooms and they have no control over it. Best Western should be ashamed of this property. Definitely should not be classified as a plus hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights for spring Carlisle. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small yet comfortable. But, what was the odor in the bathroom. Smelled of curry or something so bad that we kept the door to the bathroom shut the entire time. Seemed to be there every morning but dissipated after showering. Also, very noisy in the mornings with the utility workers leaving their trucks warm up in the parking lot about 5:30 am every morning. Highway noise also. Need to have box breakfasts ready for guests when they want to leave.

Please enhance your cleaning protocols; the room was not properly checked after cleaning. The first room we checked into was dirty, the TV did not work, and the smoke detector had a plastic bag over it, from a prior guest smoking. There were French fries under the Ottoman, the refrigerator had a red sticky substance in and on it, and the bathroom had hair in it. The second room was better, but the refrigerator was also dirty. Breakfast goes fast; the breakfast sandwiches & bags were gone when I went down to the lobby half-way through the breakfast time window.

Staff courteous, hotel clean, price reasonable, convenient to I81. Breakfast shut down due to covid. box breakfast choices limited and ran out. cereal option only had 1 left @ 7am on a saturday morning when there were only a few guests, not sure what you were supposed to do with a cold bagel and cream cheese with no toaster available.

My room was clean , comfortable and a very nice size. One of the best things was Heather at the front desk. She makes you feel very comfortable and is always pleasant. This is one of the things that makes a difference, they are lucky to have her. It was a to go breakfast but a good one, with a good variety.

20/10 would recommend going to this location. Clean rooms, wonderful above and beyond staff, and quiet location. I was actually having a major depressive episode when I stopped at this location and the front end attendant helped me not feel so terrible travelling alone.

I stayed at this property a few times in the past when on business and when I came here this time I was very disappointed the front desk staff was very unorganized and lacked knowledge of their job. I was given three different rooms before I finally got a clean room. when I checked in Jose was very unprofessional wearing jeans and a beanie with ADHD on it. Every question you ask him his answer would be I don't know this isn't my position. Then when checking out I spoke with a young lady named Amber and she also was very unknowledgeable and her answer was I don't know you'll have to talk to my general manager but he's not here like normal. Best Western should really look at this property and the lack of leadership it has. I doubt I will be returning to the property there are too many other options in the area to deal with this unprofessionalism.

Delighted with friendly, knowledgeable, extra-helpful staff in a clean, bright, updated hotel. Stayed one night during pandemic when we were worried about cleanliness practices. Felt very safe. Appreciated that even though kitchen was closed, we were given a bag of breakfast snacks, plus coffee, tea, etc. were available too.

Good breakfast, friendly & helpful staff. Not the cleanest place though. No soap, lotion, shampoo or conditioner in the room...& the bed so very hard & uncomfortable. Ok for an overnight stop but not the destination. Unfortunately not what we've come to expect from best Western.

Very nice and clean. Easy check in/out. Wonderful location by Interstate 81. Price was very good compared to the hotel we usually stay at across the street. Had a little trouble finding it off Wertzville Rd.

"Dog friendly"

I really like the Best Western brand because the staff is always friendly. This was the case at this hotel. The front desk staff was very pleasant. Dog friendly rooms seem to require two queen beds so the room was cramped but clean and adequate for one night. There was no comfy chair, just a desk chair, but we made do. The hotel is tucked around a corner off the highway, very quiet. There was a government building and a school across the way which provided space to walk Fido. The roads do not have sidewalks, so it wasn't very safe to walk him there. The breakfast was the usual fare which was fine. The yogurt was especially good.

My stay at the Harrisburg Mechanicsburg area was a convenient area when reaching friends in the Camp Hill area. The hotel was next to a gas station for an added bonus and the staff were helpful to extend directions, etc.

"What is that horrible smell in the gym?"

This location was booked by my employer. Upon checking I was greeted by a very friendly young man at the counter. However, after that wonderful customer service experience; my entire stay was upended after entering my room. The room was extremely dusty and had a foul odor. Several of my colleagues experienced the same odor as well as dirty sheets. Upon inspection of the room I decided to go to the gym. The gym was horrendous, the odor knocked me off my feet upon entering. Gordon Ramsay, if you need a location in the Harrisburg area for Hotel Hell this is your place.

I am sorry for the bad experience that you encounter. I honestly wish you would have brought this to the attention of our front desk staff or myself so we could address the issue immediately. Overall, our stay at this hotel was very nice. The staff was very polite and our needs were met. The rooms were clean. We were there for the Pennsylvania Christmas Show in Harrisburg, and being that is facility is down the road from my son's home, it makes if a perfect location for us.

I do not totally understand though how our staff was not helpful when individuals were relocated and you were all offered the opportunity to relocate hotels on Saturday with no penalty as long as you checked out by the 11am checkout time. We hope that you will consider return in the future so that we can show you personally many of the positive changes that have occurred along with showing you that your most recent stay is not our normal.

The first room they gave us, Diamond members, was so tiny it did not even have one chair or a table for a laptop computer. Only after I complained did she acknowledge our membership and offer us either extra points or the baggie with water. And she gave us a better room with table and chair. Well, better is a misnomer. Yes, it was larger and quiet, but the light. Oh! The LIGHT! The window had a pull-down blind, no curtains. The glare from the ultra bright parking lot lights shined through the windows at the edges of the blind so much that we could read by it. The tub and the sink drained very slowly. Even by the end of my quick shower, the water was above my ankles. It was still draining slowly when we checked out. The lady at the desk said all the rooms had the problem and management was trying to figure it out. Staff, for its part, was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual, though the coffee had some body to it. We were supposed to stay there again on our return from our trip, but we cancelled the reservation and changed hotels.

This was the first time my husband and I have stayed here and it will probably be the last. It was an Ok-ish hotel. The walls are paper thin. There were not that many cars in the parking lot so I have to assume that there were not that many people staying there, so I have to ask the question ... "Why would you place people right next to each other?" We were up at 5:30 because the person next door was coughing and hacking ... or perhaps throwing up. Breakfast was the standard fare -- although the sausage was pretty good.

"Cigarette smell!"

When we arrived we were initially told that there were no rooms available until 3 PM, however, when someone else from our group arrived they were told that there were 2 or 3 rooms ready. We went back and asked if we . could check in and they then let us check in not 15 minutes later than when we first asked. The first room that we were given smelled strongly of cigarettes although its supposed to be a smoke free hotel, the room was also very dirty and looked to be minimally cleaned. When we talked to the front desk about this all they said was "It's supposed to be smoke free" and "I have to apologize" but stated that there was nothing else that they could do. Later that night we went back to the front desk and spoke to Brad (who was a big help) and he said that it was not acceptable and he would find us a different room. He ended up giving us a better room that was cleaner and did not smell. The beds were like sleeping on a concrete pad as well. Other than Brad, the staff seemed rude and the maids obviously did not do a great job. Would not stay here again.

It fills me with sadness to write this review because the people there were so lovely. My stay wasn't what you'd call stellar, and it felt like a lack of training that perhaps was the culprit. Best Western has certain standards for a plus (including the way you're supposed to be greeted as a member) and this didn't hit the mark. The room needed a deeper clean than housekeeping could normally be expected to do, but there were also some things that could have been cleaner on a surface level. The first room I was assigned smelled terrible (like mold), but I was immediately given another room. The second room had a big chunk of carpet out and the tack strip was exposed. Stepping on that didn't feel so great. The carpet was also stained, and there was scrudge in the bathroom. The room itself was very small, and had the feel of a microtel. I would have rated it 2 stars, except the people were so nice. I left my water bottle and a fella came running out to give it to me. And it's got all the standard amenities and breakfast, so it has potential with just a bit of help.

The hotel was renovated 2 years ago but because of wear and tear there are some issues coming up. Our maintenance team is in process of fixing the issues. The ease of check in and check out was great. I got a good rate online when I made the reservation. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. Everything worked and it wasn't too noisy which made it easy to sleep. The breakfast bar was OK but pretty limited and repetitious but what was available was good. Great location next to a gas station, convenience store, and the highway exit just around the corner.

Just a short way off the interstate, with an easy entrance and good parking. Nice facility, easy check-in. The room was a little bit small for the two beds, but very comfortable and clean, but obviously not new. The breakfast was just what we expected, nicely laid out with the usual Belgian waffles and scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. It's a keeper. Not real close to Corvettes at Carlisle, which may well be an advantage

I had a perfect stay here. The room was clean and modern. It was very quiet however the hotel was nearly empty the night that I stayed. The furnishings and linens were very nice. The hallways were bright and clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was close to a typical Hampton or Fairfield breakfast with unusually good coffee. Just a few very minor issues: the room door was tight and had to be pulled shut, the pillow were somewhat soft and the plasticware at breakfast was a little cheap. These are all trivial comments and I would be thrilled to stay at this fine hotel again.

"Hotel is loud, rooms could use some updating"

The exterior of the hotel looks nice, the lobby is ok, the staff wasn't all that friendly, check-in was a little slower than normal but that was ok, Our room was decent although the night stand was broken on one side (which I reported to the front desk staff). The doors do not close automatically so you definitely have to pull them shut which leads to a lot of guests slamming them shut. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in the other rooms.

The front desk staff is not trained. No acknowledgement of my Platinum status. After waiting for the clerk to finish her conversation she gave me my room. The carpet was all ripped, the furnishing looked to be from 1960 and there was not even a chair in the room. No place to set up a computer. So back to the front desk to switch rooms. The second room was marginally better but not by much. There are NO restaurants in the area. Go to the hot bar at the grocery store. For $100/night I expected more. Breakfast was microwaved fare (I watched her make the eggs) stick with cereal. Check out was also by another untrained staff and took way longer than it should have as he tried to navigate the computer.

I was highly disappointed when I booked online and paid and chose for a King room with a pull out couch for my husband and our 4 year old. When arriving we were given a room that looked more like a closet and no couch. When we asked Tonya at the desk she said she had a bassinet or pack and play. She then explained this is the problem with booking online that they promise things they dont have and that this was a problem for her GM not her. I then asked for their contact information then. She danced over that and then said they were full and that there was nothing she could do. My sister canceled her room that morning so I had asked well isnt that one that would be available? She said she couldnt assign me that room because I was assigned the king. I ended up switching rooms with my parents ( who were only two so they took the closet ) and we ended up with two queens. If they were not staying as well I don't know what we would have done. It was so unprofessional to throw your GM under the bus. At check out Tonya asked I hope your stay got better, " you wanted to rip my head off". That definitely put a bad taste back in my mouth. I just wanted what I paid for and not to have my son sleep on a poorly vacuumed floor. You not only lost 1 customer....but 3.

Spent 6 days in Enola, visiting our son and family. Stayed at the Best Western in Enola PA. Everything was so clean and the employee's very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and the outdoor pool was great on the very hot days. I will go back on our next visit, without doubt.

"Stay Somewhere Else"

As a new Blue member, this property leaves much to be desired. The rooms, although spacious have very old air conditioner/heating units and they are extremely noisy. The walls at this location seemed to be quite thin compared to many other hotels I've stayed at and I travel a lot. The staff never smiles or seems happy to be there and the free breakfast is great, but plan to eat the exact same thing every day if you stay for multiple nights. Oh, don't expect housekeeping every day either.

We provide a breakfast that includes many options including eggs, meats, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, Danishes, bagels, yogurt, and fruit. We do provide housekeeping daily. I'm not sure of your situation with a do not disturb sign, or miscommunication between our staff, but we do clean rooms daily.

We got to discover dirty condoms in the room, so that was nice. They also didnt change the sheets or anything on of the days we were there. I actually don't even think they came in to clean that day. Probably wouldn't stay there again!

We were not impressed with this hotel and will not stay here in the future. As soon as we arrived, we noticed our toilet needed repair. When I went to the front desk I was told we would have to wait until the next afternoon! The toilet ran all night--not happy. When I was ready to take a shower the next morning, I found hair in it--really not happy! We were there 2 days and I couldn't wait to leave. The people were friendly and the breakfast was OK.

We came here for the Carlisle carshow. The room was not clean. The carpet is stained all over. The tub had hair in it. The towels were damp before we used them and had hair still in them. The tub did not drain correctly and had to ask staff to look at it. Paper thin walls so we heard the room next to us all night. We also faound a strange plastic tube filled with liquid on the side of our bed. The breakfast was ok but not many options. All the doors besides the front door do not unlock even with a key card. The staff seems friendly but does not seem to put the customer first. Would not stay here again. Very disappointed in this hotel due to it being a best western plus.

"Great hotel and great location"

You can pay 2x's as much for hotel in Hershey that is not nearly as nice and clean. Easy to get to and from places off the highway. Got to downtown harrisburg in less than 5 minutes and to Hershey park in less than 20. Breakfast was what you'd expect and didn't really change much day to day (no fruit by Monday). Nice affordable gas and convenience store next door and any store or restaurant you could want was 5 miles away. Lobby was new and inviting and rooms looked to be renovated recently. We were on 1st floor so you had to always run the AC unit or it would get musty and the tile floor would get damp...but it was 90 degrees out so we were OK with that. Would have given it a rating of 5 if the breakfast was comparable to other BW we've been to and had the pool been open. Memorial day weekend, 90 degrees out and no one thought to get the pool open?!?! Front desk said they weren't going to have anyone come in over the weekend and check on it either, so the kids were very disappointed. Would definately stay again, but will have to call first to make sure the pool is open!

Drove from Santee SC to Harrisburg on I-95 with this hotel as our destination. Traffic was bad so we arrived a bit late, but hotel was easy to find and easy to access. Room was standard fare although there was only one chair in a room obviously intended to for two people. Hotel was fully booked (we were traveling at the end of March), but when we arrived for breakfast around 7:45, the room was empty and some of the breakfast choices were gone - people were obviously on the road early. Still, the food was good and we slept well, which is the main consideration. There is no restaurant at the hotel, but they provide directions to places that are close by, which was a bonus late on a Sunday evening.

This hotel has improved their survice from Jun 2018 and our recent stay March 2019. The beds are still hard and its difficult to get a restful nights sleep. The breakfast experience has improved as being hot and stocked through out the breakfast time frame. There was always an attendent watching over it. They did not stock pastry rolls which we missed. I would recommend but realize their beds need to be upgraded.

Clean room and slept well. We went down for the advertised “full” breakfast. The forks, coffee, yogurt, fruit, milk, orange juice, eggs and sausage were all gone. The gentleman at the front desk stated “We had a large group” and proceeded to sit there. Very poor planning without any service! Unsatisfactory!

This hotel is very comfortable with nice rooms. Somewhat lacking is the breakfast, the selections are very limited and seating area is small. This hotel was originally another brand and then converted to a BW so I am not sure what can be done about the breakfast arrangement, but it does need some attention. Other than that, a great stay as always.

We needed a place to stay since my wife was scheduled for surgery the next morning. What complicated things is that it needed to be pet-friendly since we had our Yorkie with us. This hotel fit the bill. I've read some other reviews here saying that the rooms were not clean. That was NOT our experience at all. Our room was very clean. The staff was both gracious and helpful and the rate was very fair. The only negative was that the side door locks were broken which meant that entrance to the building could only be made through the lobby. Not a big deal normally but since the temperature outside was -7, it was inconvenient. The bottom line is that we would use this hotel again.

Room was filthy, cobwebs, used bandaid on windowsill. No fruit and English muffins were not fresh. Cupboard was detached from wall leaning on one sideThe keycards were not working to get back into the hotel side entrance Staff was very nice at front desk.

New management must try harder. We founds food crumbs left by previous guests and coach roaches in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I did not bring up the issues as we just wanted to move on the next day with a long drive to get to our next destination.

I will never stay at this Best Western ever again!! From clerks being missing to no soundproofing in the rooms it was a horrible stay.. I stay at a lot of places and this by far is one of the worst ever. I only chose this location because of being close to where I work and I needed to use a travel card and points before they expire.. so I figured I give myself a little vacation from home. When I arrived the first room they gave me was way down at the end of a hall, I am handicapped and have a hard time walking far distances so the clerk was nice enough to switch my room. She moved a little closer to the elevator. I got all settled in only to find out the TV didn't work. I called the front desk and apparently you need a direct tv box in the room, umm why was there not one in this room in this first place. So I was offered another room or a discount on my stay. I chose to move to another room because I like to be able to watch tv. I tried to go to bed early since I had to be up early for work, needless to say it was after 11 until I got to sleep because of all the noise from other rooms, it is ridiculous have some common courtesy people. From people slamming doors, to dogs barking, people talking loudly, and TVs that I could hear plain as day. I had one more night here and since I couldn't cancel I figured I give it another shot, but mistake, shortly before 9pm the noise starts again, why do people wait to this time to decide to be noisy.. I had enough and packed my stuff up, checked out of the hotel.. it was a complete nightmare from check in to check out.. they really need to remodel this place and add some soundproofing, how are people supposed to sleep at this place. I rather sleep in my car then this place again. If you want a good nights sleep go elsewhere! I wish I would it taken some pictures but I was too angry and just left, the carpet is filthy, chipped paint on the walls, mold around the window, and missing caulking in the bathroom. Only plus was the bed was comfy and plenty of pillows from the little sleep I did get there.

Overall I would say this is a very nice hotel. We did have problems with the hot water, but we did not mention it until we left. We were traveling with are Beagle and it is a great place to stay with pets.

I've stayed here a numbe of times. In fact I will go a bit out of the way to stay here. Hotel is up to date, clean, close to Rt 81. Beds are very good, breakfast better than most BW. Great showhead!!!

This my first stay at a best western. I must say for the amount that was paid compared to the good nights sleep I got, NOT BAD at all. This location was within minutes of the location I was visiting for business during the week and offered hot showers, comfy sheets and pillows. Awesome pillows by the way and a nice fitness center. This is definitely isn't the Four Seasons or even a double tree but for an under $100 a night stay, you can't complain too much I think. Would stay again if visiting Harrisburg.

We stayed for one night; check in was slow because we had been assigned the same room as another party. Finally straightened that out although not sure how. Room was clean; bed was comfortable; it was quiet so we slept well. Stairwells were obviously not cleaned on a regular basis. Just appeared that hotel was not being well maintained in the public areas. The breakfast bar and service left a lot to be desired; "hot" items were cold and not much selection. There were no coffee cups and when we asked about it were told that they had run out and their shipment had not come in. Note that we were the only ones there at an early hour. When I showed surprise at not having coffee cups was told that we could either use one of the tiny cups that go with the waffle maker or we could double up on the clear plastic water cups, followed by "Life Happens". Couldn't believe this response; person very obviously didn't care about customer service, politeness, their job, etc. Would not recommend this hotel solely because of this experience.

Our reception could have been more friendly. The beds were comfortable but the carpet in the room was very stained and dirty. Breakfast was not up to Plus standards. We grabbed a hot drink and headed off to Cracker Barrel.

Hotel is a little dated but was ok. The carpets throughout, however, were absolutely filthy. The powdered scrambled eggs were awful, the orange juice had a strange taste and there was no fresh fruit. Awful experience but the staff were very nice.

I checked into this hotel (9/22). When I went to my room, there was a strong odor of air freshener. I was there at 3pm, and there were only a half dozen cars in the lot. I called the Desk immediately and requested a room change. I was told there were no other rooms available. (? they reserve by room number). I checked online and there were rooms available. So I went to the Desk and asked nicely for another room, saying there were rooms online. I was told sorry, no, and I left within 15 minutes of arrival. I had asked to speak to the Manager but she was not there. I think it was a small request as it was done prior to them being busy.

No aircondioning in the lobby. Carpeting throughout the property and in our room has large stains and is torn. Found big black hairs in my bed sheets. Paint in bathroom is chipped away. The whole property is in need of renovating.

"Sheets Not Cleaned"

Most hotels in America do not clean their sheets between customers. Most hotels are smart enough to actually clean their rooms to a decent extent, in order to avoid this suspicion. The Best Western in Enola is like most hotels, but unlike most concurrently. When we first checked into our room, I noticed a towel left in the bed, which I assume was to soak up urine. I went to the front desk and asked for a change of sheets. Rather than giving me sheets, the woman there kindly offered to switch my room, expecting that the sheets had not been cleaned in the first one. We were conveniently moved to the next room over, where I again noticed that the sheets were dirty, laced with hairs, lightly stained, and absent of crease marks, suggesting they were not washed and folded. Though the hospitality and breakfast are always fine at BW hotels, I would not sacrifice my body to this hotel again, as there are many in Harrisburg and its vicinity.

We stayed here on a quick weekend trip. For the price, the hotel seemed reasonable, given the pictures and that it looked newly renovated. When we got in our room, there were cobwebs everywhere and torn carpeting. Upon pulling down the bed, the sheets were covered in brown stains. We were moved to a new room that did not have a stained bed, but did have broken lights and a non-functioning TV. When taking a shower, the water got luke warm at best. I definitely will NOT stay here again.

We had a great stay with 2 of our grandchildren (7&8). They had a great time in the pool. We had a nice, clean spacious room with 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave. Breakfast was very good with a variety of hot and cold items.

We recently stayed here on our drive up to Maine and boy was it a pleasant surprise! The beds were super comfortable and the room very clean. It also serves breakfast which is very important when traveling with teenagers. The location is nice just off the interstate and is only a few minutes drive to quality restaurants back in Mechanicsburg. We chose Carrabba's and they did not disappoint! There is also a gas station/convenience store within walking distance of the hotel which is also a bonus. We found the staff to be very nice and welcoming also. A great value here!

Wow--did we get lucky or are these bad reviews from disgruntled customers? Breakfast--Scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels (4 varieties) & then the cold items & 4 options of cereal. CLEAN AREA. Room--Spotless, Quiet, abundance of towels, Best soap, lotions, shampoos I've come across. CLEAN. Truck Parking is available within the shared lot in the rear & also on the street in front. Outdoor picnic tables near the pool...which both were also CLEAN! Cant wrap my head around the complaints that were written? We stayed 3 nights & never encountered any problems & will definitely stay here again.

Even to stop for a night this hotel is not worth it. there are a lot of hotels around to pick. the hotel is in bad shape, rooms are hidious (we asked for a change because the first one had a very strange smell , but it was the same in the other rooms ) , breakfast is just junk food, and the location is not great. this hotel needs a little maintenance and relooking

We believe this was a Microtel by the lobby and room set up....Brand take over and perhaps updating to be a BWP.....? The room was spacious with 2 beds. It was rather dusty though. Otherwise clean. AC worked well, but needs cleaning. The beds were comfy and the bedding was clean with no holes or stains. Several pillows on each. Bathroom was a decent size and there were plenty of towels. Wifi worked well. TV was a good size and they had a decent lineup. Need to know: Guest laundry Truck/trailer parking Elevator Fridge/microwave Our only complaint was the housekeeping staff and the slamming of the doors. We find this rude enough from guests, but staff.....?! A door stop or old towel would solve the issue. Please consider implementing a No Door Slam policy. Otherwise, we were very comfortable and pleased with the room. We would stay again if in the area.

Stayed just one night for a business trip. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous and the hotel had all the amenities I needed, and was clean and well kept. The breakfast area was pretty crowded and wasn't stocked very well the morning I was there, so I ended up having to skip breakfast and eat a the restaurant where my meeting was held, which was disappointing; however the staff was apologetic and said that it is uncharacteristic for the hotel. I'll most likely stay there again when I have business in Enola.

We stayed there on the way to a tournament as a part way stop. We received a bag with 2 waters, trail mix and candies at check in. The rooms were clean. The staff friendly. The beds are fair, not super comfortable, but not hard as rocks either. Breakfast had the usual choices with sausage and bacon, waffles you make, cereal, eggs etc. It was good. We aren't picky, so the place was fine. Only complaint would be staying on the road side is noisy starting at 6:00 am when trucks start going up the small hill outside. I would recommend the other side if you want a quieter sleep. It is right off Route 81, so easy to get in and out of. There is a convenience store next door to get gas, food etc.

Breakfast area was still filthy in the afternoon. We brought a group of boys & girls rugby teams and needed a washer/dryer. The washing machines coin holder was full and no one at the hotel could empty it so the wash machine could be used. Had to wait for a manager or someone with authority to empty the machine. The hotel was aware there would be about 30 players and that the wash machine was needed. Overall the facilities were not clean. There was still pancake batter lying on the tray/counter in the afternoon (I think breakfast was over around 9:30).

Check in was very slow because the girl didn't seem to know what she was doing and had to redo for both of our rooms. The food area was filty. My family refused to eat anything for breakfast. The bathrooms were filty. The drain for the handicap shower was green with slim or mold.

Stayed here after a day of fun at HersheyPark and not wanting to make the drive home, while tired. Nice, clean hotel, though our room was smaller than others I have stayed in. However, it was fine for an overnight and did have a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. An excellent breakfast bar with a choice of blueberry/chocolate chip batter for waffles or pancakes, along with scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal and the other usual breakfast bar fair. Staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend, will be returning for anothe Hershey trip later this year.

Very clean hotel with comfortable beds and generously sized rooms. WiFi works great. Great place to stay on my business trip. I was able to unwind after a long day on the road. The staff is attentive and the cookies were delicious!

"Nice Decor. Thin Walls"

I really wanted to love this hotel. The decor is modern. The room was large and well laid out. The front desk employee was pleasant, cheerful and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good, with lots of choice. The big let down was the thin walls. It's a place to sleep for goodness sake. If a hotel can't adequately provide that most basic of necessities then something is wrong. We could hear the people talking next door and they weren't being loud. The snoring didn't help either. Best Western deserves credit for the big revamp they have completed on many of their properties. This one needs work.

"Disgusting Hotel! Do not stay here!"

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Someone or something left feces underneath my pillow! It was a traumatic and hurtful experience for my son and I. I contacted the corporate office via e-mail and HAVE NOT been contacted by them yet. I stayed in the hotel February 22-23, 2018. I have pictures, video, and I made the front desk come to my room to see it for himself!

My family was assigned this hotel as part of a boys volleyball tournament. Upon arrival all 3 of us remarked at how small the room was. The bathroom counter space included a section over the back of the toilet making me wonder how much water splashed about whenever the toilet was flushed. Our room was on the ground floor next to the stairs, which I assumed would be noisy (and was correct). What we didn't count on was having a family assigned next door that had 2 small dogs that barked whenever we moved around in our room. The walls were thin enough that I could tell you where that family was headed on the next leg of their trip. The breakfast area had a decent selection, but no variety (hot entree was microwaved scrambled eggs and sausage all 3 days). Later one morning I went to get a glass of water from the juice machine, but it was locked. No worries, I thought. I grab a cup of tea instead. No go - the coffee machine with hot water spout was locked as well. There was a small, but functional workout room. Unfortunately it was not open 8 am. Every morning we heard people at the front desk complaining about their room or stay.

Room was dirty!!! The bathroom had hair in the floor, sink and toilet!! Clearly no one cleaned the bathroom. The shower head is almost falling out of the wall. The door to the room lets in so much light due to being off center. I had to put towels around the edges of the door, (Yes towels would fit in the door jambs!!) The air conditioning smells terrible when it turns on. After I got back to my room from an afternoon out I noticed housekeeping had been in my room, the only thing they did was make the bed. They didn't take dirty towels!!! OR Leave clean towels or wash cloths!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO IS STAYING IN THE AREA TO BOOK A ROOM AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS, IT IS ABOUT A MILE DOWN THE ROAD!!!!! THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL EVER STAY AT A BEST WESTERN HOTEL!!! I WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR!!!! OH AND SOMEONE LET THEIR DOG CRAP IN THE HALLWAY ON THE FIRST FLOOR!!!

I'm at my wits end and I have a short fuse with the lodging crisis in this country. It seems I always end up in a crisis room. The keys would not work on the exterior doors so I was left standing out in the bomb storm and the WiFi is not working and will never be fixed since it works periodically also the tub has no plug for the drain and when I call to question there is no maintenance man to be found also the phone is making a buzzing noise so I can't hear the front desk at all what a crock of crap this is no best western plus it's motel 6 on steroids! Oh! And I just tried to print a page yes one page sorry can't do it here! Printer is broken!

"Not very clean rooms but friendly staff with large king rooms."

First of all, there needs to be housekeeping and maybe a manager doing spot checks. We arrived at 930pm, were very tired after our 11 hour ride, had another 5 hours to go next day and there was a lot that could have been done BEFORE our arrival since check out is noon and this hotel was at about 10% capacity. 1. There was (Maybe cat) puke sprayed down the dresser which was nasty to say the least. 2. Extra roll of toilet paper would be nice but certainly ANY toilet paper would have been great. Yes the roll was empty and the back up roll storage was also empty. Luckily there was tissues. 3. Coffee pot and coffee in room is great but only if there is actually cups to poor it in... 4. Part of housekeeping should be to make sure the ice bucket is empty, which it wasn't. It was full of water. 5. Now the bed. While comfortable it was, the "poop spray (or chocolate, as I like to tell myelf) across the top spread was disgusting and beyond words. Not like you could miss it all over the WHITE bed spread on the bed you made??? These are only the bad side of this room. There were some nice things also

We uses a reward night for our stay. We were very satisfied with the room and location. Easy access to I-81. In a safe quiet area. We did not notice any road noise in the room. The rooms was clean and in good order. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend this hotel and we will stay if in the area again. Just a quick overnight stay so did not use any of the facilities or the breakfast buffet.

We have been staying in Enola for 20 years, so have tried several hotel brands. Glad to see Best Western is now available. They just took over the hotel in July, and it's very nice and the price is reasonable. Convenient to I-81 and our family.

"Nice, but charged twice what was advertized"

When you get to the hotel you had chosen, tired of many hours of driving and they say you the price is not good anymore. And they offer you a room at double the price advertized, it is not pleasant. The hotel is nice, the room is nice, breakfast was fine. But disapointed... Then many children sit in front of your door making lot of noise...

Stayed there Nov. 3 - 5 for my grandsons hockey tournament. The Suite was great. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed having the extra space. Room was equipped with refrigerator, coffee pot, iron and ironing board. Everything was clean and staff were very courteous

I called the hotel to make a reservation and Corinne (I believe) was working the reservation desk. She made the reservation and was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived she completed the registration and added my Rewards # so I would get credit for the stay. She asked if we had eaten dinner and if we needed a recommendation. She gave us directions to a local restaurant as well as a coupon for a free appetizer. The King room was large and comfortable. It includes a sofa and ottoman which we didn't use but noted that would be really handy on some occasions. There was also a tall bar counter with a small sink and underneath it were a small fridge and microwave and a coffee maker on top. The coffee supplied was Wolfgang Puck. My husband has a cup before breakfast and said compared to most in house coffee in hotels it was good. There are double shades so you can make the room dark. The room was quiet which is important to people like me that are light sleepers. I checked both the bed linens and the bathroom for cleanliness and they were clean. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The coffee maker allowed you to choose strong coffee or regular or mix the two (which my husband did). There were assorted tea bag flavors. I enjoyed the Tazo Earl Grey tea. There were scrambled eggs and link sausage, breads, bagels, cereals, oatmeal as well as the hot waffle or pancake makers. The waffle maker is easy to use and works great just be sure to fill the cup up so you have a perfect shaped waffle. It will be monogramed "BW" in the center. There are also fresh juices, whipped cream, yogurt etc. Even though I've stayed in number of BW hotels with much of these offers I would say this was the best I've had. The eggs and sausage were good not overcooked or dry. The pancake batter was better. The Orange Juice didn't taste great it may have not been really fresh but everything else was great. We didn't use them but there was a meeting room on our floor and washers and dryers in the room where the ice machine is located. I imagine that could be handy for the business person or family traveling. Overall this BW property is one of the nicest I've stayed in and I will stay here again. If I were to say anything about the hotel was not perfect it would be the linens (sheets and towels). They were clean but not the most comfortable, They both could be softer. My husband didn't notice but they were rough compared to the ones I use at home. Management does deserve acknowledgement for their staff. Refreshing to deal with professional and friendly staff who care.

We enjoyed our stay at this best western hotel. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We ha a king size bed and the room also included a bar set up with a sink and stools as well as a sofa which made our stay quite comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.

"Great facility even better staff"

The Hotel front desk and housekeeping staff went above and beyond expectations. The location is great and located near the interstate. The room is spacious and the bathroom not cramped. The free breakfast could use some more options on a weekly basis, but overall items were fresh. If you are working or visiting downtown Harrisburg it is a short commute in.

"Worst BW we have stayed in."

Our room was not very clean, dust on the furniture. Bed sheets and pillow cases were so wrinkled that we couldn't tell in they had been changed. Entry light bulb was burned out and security latch was ripped out. Breakfast choices were minimal. No orange juice and only green apples as fresh fruits. This will be the first and last time we will stay at this BW.

Other than the beds not being made properly, the lobby, hallways and rooms were well kept and clean. The young man at the front desk could not have been more pleasant. The rooms were quiet. I did use the iron but had to put a cloth between the iron and my clothes because the iron had build up on the bottom that may have come off on my clothes.

We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel on our one night stay. The hotel appears very new and well maintained. The room was nicely decorated and was very clean. The free breakfast with a wide variety of offerings, was a nice treat in the morning before we were on our way.

"Nice Hotel Good location"

Located just off of I-81S this is a very nice Best Western and I will stay again. The room was clean, I heard no noise from people outside my room, no traffic noise. I had work to do and was happy with the easy of using the free wi-fi and the desk was a great size to spread out the paperwork needed to complete my task. The bathroom was very clean, water pressure great, and the towels were bright and fluffy. The breakfast selection was minimal but had the standard powder eggs and bacon, cereal and milk, juice and tea/coffee. There were make your own waffle and pancakes available too.

The staff from check in to check out was wonderful, I can't say enough about everyone! Helpful, cheerful and a great sense of humor. Our room was very clean, linens sparkling but there was a funky odor in our room (#222) that I believe was from the carpeting, mold or mildew in nature. I do not have allergies but it made my nose tingle in an unpleasant manner and sneeze. This was a Microtel property previously that we happened to stay at 2 years ago and it needed upgrading at that time. The carpeting is the same now as then although a gal at the front desk told me it was professionally cleaned. It needs to be replaced! The location of this property is great, easy on easy off I81. .

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding at Fort Hunter Mansion. It was just a 15 minute drive, and very easy to get back and forth from the hotel to the wedding location. The room was clean and spacious. We stayed in a king suite, it was nice to sit on the couch and put my feet up while travelling. We enjoyed the hot breakfast to get our day started, too.

When I departed after a family funeral service, the staff had breakfast early so could have breakfast before heading for the airport. Well our room could use updates and the air conditioning didn't work, we were offered another room, but had already unpacked so we stayed in it. Just kept going on and off all night. Breakfast was good, staff was nice. If we didn't have the problem with the ac it would have been fine.

I arrived to the hotel about 10:30 at night last night and it is right off of Route 81. Super easy to get to. Rooms are clean and open. I like the bench seat they designed in the window that covers the AC/Heat unit. Nice place for luggage. The breakfast area isn't the largest I have experienced at Best Westerns, but it is a clean environment for a quick breakfast bite. For those that have read my other posts, you know I am kind of a Wi-Fi snob. It is such an important service component of the guest experience, and higher bandwidth offerings are available than the 2-4Mbps service I had each night here. I'm not streaming anything so on this stop it wasn't that critical and the web page loading was actually pretty good at these low bandwidths. My ultimate Wi-Fi performance continues to be Best Western Burlington, VT at over 50Mbps for free Wi-Fi. I would definitely stay here at Best Western Plus Harrisburg Mechanicsburg again!

Overall the room was nice and we liked the location. House keeping didn't do their job to make up the room nor restock the room during the stay. The front desk staff did the best they could working both the check-in/out and work the breakfast area at the same time.

"Great Customer Servive"

I had recently stayed at the Best Western in Enola. From the very beginning I felt welcomed. It was a very clean place with friendly staff. The young girl at the front desk, her name is Kristen, she was a delight! She had a very welcoming personality and very outgoing. She seems very knowledgeable and anytime I had a question, she was always very helpful! I definitely plan on coming back! Thank you for a great visit!

"When housekeeping misses it outweighs the hits"

At first glance hotel is modern and bright. Parking is good and so was check-in. Opening the door our room looked the same....but......housekeeping was below par. We found old leftovers in our fridge, hair in the sink that wasn't ours, dust and hair in the bathroom floor. Only a quarter roll of toilet paper on the roll and not a single replacement roll in the room. Naturally, we felt sketch about the overall cleanliness of the room after that The next morning I went to grab a a towel for the shower. All the neatly folded towels except one were damp.....yuk. Breakfast is typical. Get there early or you might not get a seat. Perhaps ours was an unusual experience....for their sake I hope so. A Giant and Weis supermarket is down the road, as well as some fast food joints and local restaurants. Very convenient to I-80.

"Nice Clean Room - Less than 30 Minutes from Hershey"

Everything was great for our stay. Close to Hershey Park for a reasonable price. No problems checking in or out. Nice clean quiet room. Internet worked well and breakfast was good. Easy on/off Route 81 as well.

Assigned an occupied room. Unbelieve with this age of computer integrity that Worst Western put me in harms was as unlocked the door and tried to enter only to be saved by the deadbolt lock set in place

The woman who checked us in was very confused. She said that our room had been given away. She had said it was only her second day, so she called for help checking us in. Caroline came to help and was wonderful. She was very professional and polite. She checked us in quickly and we went to our room. The room was fine other than the carpet felt wet and had lots of stains all over. We went to the parks during the day and noticed that housekeeping had not come at all while we were gone (even though they were cleaning other rooms next to us while we were leaving). We called the front desk the next morning to ask for our room to be cleaned because we needed fresh towels and the carpet needed vacuuming. We came back and again the room was untouched. This continued for the length of our stay. We did not have one cleaning during our stay despite our calls. The day that we checked out, housekeeping attempted to let themselves into our room FOUR times starting at 8am (waking us up). We told them that we were checking out at 11am but they continued to come back again and again. The last time they came up I said "I am literally walking out in a min, would you mind coming back in a few min?" The woman replied "Well you need to be out by 11am." We were out by 10:55am and went to the desk to check out. We sat at the desk for ten min waiting to be helped because there was nobody around. I finally asked one of the housekeepers to help us find someone. The woman finally came up with one of the other housekeepers, never apologized or asked how my stay was. She asked what room we were in and when I told her the housekeeper started giggling and she had a smirk she was trying to hide. Not sure what that was about but it irritated me so much that I just took the receipt and left. I will be placing a call to the manager tomorrow about the unpleasant stay we had.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very cheery interior with modern decor and updates. Pool was awesome and very clean. We enjoyed our stay here.. close to Hershey and relatives. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

Full disclosure - they did send us up to a room already occupied. But mistakes happen and it was remedied quickly. Front desk staff was extremely polite and helpful and the hotel very clean. The price was good for a room with 2 queens and it also had a microwave and fridge. Parking wasn't an issue either. Overall very good. Beds were perfect and allowed for a great sleep. Only downside was VERY loud fellow quests but that can't be blamed on the hotel. Great place and I highly recommend it!

Nice motel, nice pool, good breakfast, but since it changed from Microtel to Best Western, they are now gouging prices for the Carlisle car shows. The elevator was out of service for 24 hours and the stairs were accessible at each end of the hallways.

We stayed in Enola PA on recommendation from a friend. The Best Western was the best rated hotel and now I know why. Their staff is friendly and accommodating . Our room was very clean and the pool was nice. Just what we needed after a long day on the motorcycles.

"Some good some bad!"

Check in was perfect. The young lady who checked me in was fantastic and should actually be on day shift running the show. She was pleasant, personable, and helpful. Day shift, quite lacking, Computer in their computer station worked but printer doesn't and after 3 attempts and ten minutes wasted, I went to the front desk, waited for the girl to come back from one of the offices in back, and she said they knew it didn't work, that I needed to e-mail it to the desk and then they could print it. Back to the computer, e-mailed my boarding pass to the address she gave me and waited. After waiting several minutes, she said that we could try from the office computer, and see if that works. Since I had spent approximately 30 minutes trying to get my boarding pass printed to save time at the Philadelphia Airport, where I still had to drive to, I was saving any time. I ended up leaving 30 minutes late, with no boarding pass, and still a long drive. End result; Missed my flight by 5 minutes, had to re-book which caused me to arrive back in Las Vegas 2 1/2 hrs late. Also they had a baseball team of youngsters who thought the hallways and stairwells were play areas. Does no-one in a Hotel inform the supervisors of these kids that other people are trying to sleep and not to play and yell in the halls?? It may be my last stay, especially at $100 a clip! The rooms themselves are fine and housekeeping did a nice job.

"Great Staff"

This was a very nice stay for myself, my daughter and my two granddaughters ages 7 and 8 The pool was a perfect size for them and allowed us to relax and watch them have fun in the pool. The staff was very helpful, extremely friendly and did a overall great job Because of that we will definitely book a room at this hotel when we return to the Harrisburg area

the hotel was ok. While I had difficulty checking in (room was not ready and was asked to move my reservation to a "sister" hotel) which I denied for the second time being asked, they were nice enough to provide some bottled water and snacks for the room at no additional cost. Room was quickly cleaned, and therefore, soaps and shampoos were not replenished and we had to make a trip down to the lobby desk to ask for some.

Amazing staff. They went out of there way to help and recommend places to eat. Rooms was excellent. Front desk staff was very kind and knowledgeable. One minor issue in rooms but Mike from maintenance took care of it right away!

Overall this is a nice place. I am not very happy about the cost or the fact the manager refuses to take the coupons the hotel has in travel books. She will give a discount, but not much. She does not seem to care how long you have been using the location.

"MULTIPLE things wrong"

Didn't have maid service for two days (after being promised they would MAKE SURE we had it after the first day of not getting it), didn't have hot water for two days in one of the rooms, room key stopped working after they messed up our reservation and had us checking out early (booked hotels 4+ months in advance), and on top of it they overcharged us.

"Awful room cleanliness"

If you like a clean room and clean towels, or just towels in general, they don't do that there so save your money and stay elsewhere. We went there for a 5 night stay and decided to roll the dice and stay at a Best Western. We have never stayed at one before so we thought, "Why not give them a chance?" What were we thinking?! We should have gone with what we knew and stayed with the chain that we usually do for either business or pleasure. We were here for 5 nights and we didn't get our room cleaned or fresh towels. We have to ask for them after going on the third day of our stay. Unacceptable. We didn't feel like a hotel guest but rather a huge inconvenience to them. For shame!!!

Stands out among other "passer-by" hotels in the area. Clean, neat, reasonably priced, serves breakfast. Fridge, TV, microwave, coffee-maker in the room, clean bathroom, comfortable beds. Absolutely recommend for short-term stays.

A very pleasant overnight stay. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated and very clean. The hotel was newly renovated and looked like new. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel was easily accessible from the Interstate.

Everything was very clean. check in and check out was quick. only hiccup was there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, but they brought one to the room very quickly so it was no big deal. Over all I will stay here again, nice place.

The King room was very nice. It provided a separate sofa with counter and sink above the refrigerator. I also liked having a safe in the room. The bed was very comfortable and overall was satisfied to give this hotel a A+ rating!

Wonderful surprise...our GPS listed Microtel. Remodeled 7 months ago. Everything is updated and clean. In the room...nice little sink and countertop near the microwave. Lots of outlets near the bed for charging electronics. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location...right off the exit with a large grocery store only minutes away (we eat in the room). The breakfast area was very nice but the food wasn't the greatest. Whoops...thought the carbon monoxide detector was a thermostat (weird placement). This will definitely be a regular stop for us.

My wife and I stayed here last night after a long day of driving and this hotel was exactly what we needed. The Best Western is conveniently located off of I-81. We used a coupon from the I-Exit app that gave us a great rate. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our standard rate room had king bed with a separate sitting area as well as a counter with stools, fridge and microwave, often called a mini-suite. The room also had a decent sized flat screen tv, ironing board and hair dryer. The room was clean, the bed and pillows comfortable. The window had two shades, a translucent and a room darkening. We couldn't get the room darkening one to come down. No big deal, but we will report it on the way out. Since we haven't yet gone down, I can't review the breakfast, but I saw the breakfast area on the way in and I expect it to be just fine.

Checked into this hotel after a disaster at the Red Roof in Harrisburg-Hershey. I was met by cheerful desk staff and a lovely, brand-new hotel in perfect condition. The room was sleek and well laid out, bathroom large and spotlessly clean, beds comfortable. Still smelled like new wood! All the amenities and a very helpful and cheerful staff. Breakfast was abundant, fresh, well presented and the breakfast area large and cheery with two TVs showing morning news. A wonderful stay at a very reasonable price--and great location. Perfect for Gettysburg and Hershey as well as convention centers.

checked in for 1 night, was told place was just redone with new furniture, etc. place looked really nice. free morning breakfast could use a little improvement and variety. priced nice. staff was very friendly and helpful. will stay again. best beds and pillows I had in any hotel in a long time...

The breakfast was good with many things offered - It was nice to leave there for a day of sightseeing with a nice filling meal. Coffee and three kinds of juices available 24 hours. The staff we had dealings with were helpful but the manager Larry went above and beyond helpful. They are fortunate to have him as the manager for their hotel. If I have any complaint it was the first morning we stayed and at 4:30am someones's rooster alarm went off and not only did they take a while to shut it off they put it on snooze so I got to hear it again. So thicker walls would be a good improvement.

"Improved But Still Wanting"

This hotel was recently renovated - however, the new owners did not take adequate time to properly clean the rooms - construction dust was everywhere. The rugs in the hallway and the room had lots of lint and dirt. Considering the price that I paid, I did not expect "top quality" - I primarily look for cleanliness and it was lacking.

We reluctantly stayed here after our original hotel overbooked and didn't have room for us. The lady at the other hotel recommended we come here and I looked at the old pictures of the stained carpet and sure did not want to stay here, but this was the only hotel available and the lady promised me it was completely renovated. She wasn't lying! This hotel is wonderful! Everything is new, beautiful and clean! The breakfast is standard continental breakfast and was very clean and fresh. Give this hotel a try!

The Best Western at Enola was outstanding. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and it even had a small couch in the room as well as a counter top with small sink along with a microwave and fridge. We enjoyed our stay.

"Fantastic Renovations"

Couldn't drive any longer and needed a place to crash. This is undoubtedly the best, Best Western I've ever stayed at. Modern, clean and right off the Interstate. Rooms are spacious, staff is excellent and the price was awesome!

"Great decor, high value, and convenient."

This hotel provided a room with nice décor and conveniently located off the interstate. It has a very good value for the area. It had been recently renovated and Roman shades on the window was a nice touch as was the multiple component picture on the wall.

The motel staff was great in every aspect. The rooms were very clean and vary quiet. Its has a nice size pool which is not to deep for the little ones. The hot breakfasts on the weekend were great and again the staff was great at there jobs. Checkout in the morning was vary fast and nice.

"needs improvement...but still good"

this has been a newly renovated best western for a week.. you can still smell the paint. What they need to do is send an inspector to every room to make sure the place is ready to open for business. After 3 room changes, the final room made the grade. The beds are firm and they are big; each one had a sink, a microwave, a micro frig, and a flat screen. The first 3 rooms they gave us all had problems and this should have been taken care of before opening for business... no lights, leaking frig, rusty frig... staff was superb... overall, when this place is ready for business, I intend to return. One thing that was a real pain in the kazoo was having the microfrig on the floor... esp with all of the empty space available on countertops and cabinets etc...

We were happy to get a handicap room even though we did not have a reservation. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The room very clean and breakfast good. I would recommend this property to anyone. It would have been nice if the price were lower, but value for dollar was really fair.
