Best Western Hotel Duchesne Inn, Duchesne

Very clean property and staff are wonderful! Randy goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. They clean your room daily and serve a full warm breakfast! Staying here is like staying at a nice hotel pre-covid days! Treatment is very refreshing because sadly covid has caused many of the customer service gestures to go away, but not this hotel!

The front desk staff was very friendly and fast to check in and check out. The pool seemed very clean and this kids enjoyed themselves. I travelled with two other families and we all had dogs. It was nice that we were on the first floor to make it easier to take the dogs out. The hotel was quiet and not crowded during our stay. This is the best hotel in Deuchesne and close enough to where we wanted to go for 4 wheeling. Note that when I booked it does say "full kitchen" but I didn't realize it had a stovetop too (my mistake) so next time I will plan on bringing easy things to cook! There are a few options to eat out here but mostly fast food and it gets expensive, so good to know next time I can actually heat up some things in the room rahter that spend so much eating out. Convenient location since it's right behind a couple of food options and a gas station (which is great when you have kids and need something).

This hotel really thought about people with accessibility issues. The room was near the elevator. It was very open and easy to move around. Everything was spatkling clean, the staff was great, and it was quiet. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

As soon as we arrived at the inn I was impressed by its fresh exterior. It had a new appearance. When we entered the lobby I was in love with it. It was so cozy and pretty. We were offered a room on the second floor, but the inn had an elevator for taking up our heavy luggage. It also had interior corridors. The room was beautiful and fresh looking like the exterior of the building. We didn't use the large refrigerator or stove and kitchen utensils, but some guests might find them useful. If you want to exercise, they have an exercise room with free weights, etc. The indoor pool was chilly, but the hot tub was just right. Breakfast consisted of a waffle from a waffle machine. You can make your own. There were hard boiled eggs, sausage patties, yogurt, fruit, milk, cereal, and bread. They also have a charging station for electric cars. The price was right and it's a good place to stop while on your way to the parks.

Gross. So gross. Sticky, dirty floor in bedroom. Thresholds caked with black dirt. Stained sheets. Pubic hair and dried pee on the bathroom floor. Hair in the bed. Food residue in kitchen. Filthy countertops you could write your name on with your finger. Furniture has stains and dirt on them. Rooms hadn't been swept or vacuumed or actually cleaned in who knows how long. We changed rooms, the 2nd one was just as gross. Management didn't care and shrugged it off, saying we were their only complaint in 6 months. Trip advisor says otherwise. She told me to write a note to housekeeping for her... She was the head of housekeeping. What? So now not only do I have to clean my own room of at least a month's worth of other people's filth, but I have to discipline your employees too? I've had better, CLEANER stays in 3rd world countries... literally. Basically, you'll pay to stay in a public restroom. We cleaned the floors and surfaces with the bathroom towels and water (it was late, and we had a death in the family earlier in the day and didn't have the energy to deal with this)... But this level of fifth is honestly a health hazard during a pandemic and is completely unacceptable. Don't stay here. You're literally risking your health if you do, and management is nice, but useless. I honestly question the validity of the recent reviews on here.

The hotel was very clean and I loved the images in the hotel room of nearby attractions. The hotel had very helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate a last-minute cancellation due to a reservation misunderstanding. I was very pleased!

Our host was friendly and courteous. The room was immaculate with a small kitchenette, comfy bed, plenty of space. We appreciated that breakfast had so much to offer. We were traveling with our large dog, and were made to feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

You may run into a couple issues, but Paul will do anything for his customers. He will spend all night to resolve an problem. We had hot water issues and he went to great lengths to get us a hot shower. Thanks Paul, will visit again.

When I pulled the blankets down to get into bed, there were numerous long strands of hair on the bed as well as stained sheets . They moved us to another room, those sheets were stained a disgusting yellow. Speaking to the manager the next morning he informed us that "now with COVID they change the sheets and pillow cases after every stay"??(didn't they do that before?). After having to switch rooms after 11 pm, the manager/owner didn't give us any discount on the room and instead offered " a good deal next time we came". The manager seemed completely fine with the fact we experienced dirty (used and stained) sheets in 2 different rooms

I usually get a little worried about staying in small town hotels, but this is very nice! They've recently remodeled so everything is newer. Loved having a kitchenette with an apartment sized fridge/freezer in the room. Starvation reservoir is very close. The staff was courteous and the hotel clean. They still had their full breakfast available. Definitely will stay here again!

Exceptional staff and customer service. Paul at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. I was very impressed! Rooms are comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing though! :)

Was nice to find a updated, clean, family friendly hotel in such a small town. The family suite with to king rooms and full kitchen and living area was a great option and value for our family of six. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't rate any of the extra services such as pool, breakfast, etc., as everything was still closed do to COVID-19, but based on the rest of our experience I have no reason to believe they would have met expectations.

This motel was very clean and taken care of. They personnel were very friendly and took very good care of the customers. They very quick about helping you when you called on the phone. The explained everything really well when I checked in.

It is brand new clean place and the staff is nice. But the designer was clueless in buying the furniture. You could sit at the table to eat because the chairs were too tall, your could sit at the desk because it was also too tall, to easy chair was so hard it hurt to just sit in it. And the trash can was so small it was full with just a few tissues in it. I even took pictures because it was so strange. Also the breakfast could have been wonderful but lots of the food wasn't prepared correctly.

Paul the hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. Our son was in a Wilderness Therapy Program out in the Duchesne wilderness. We needed a hotel in Duchesne for two nights at the end of his time in wilderness. I called a week in advance and the hotel was booked out do to the annual ice fisherman event. Paul took down my name and number and said he would contact me if there was a cancellation. I received a call from him a couple days later and he had booked us a room for two nights. The hotel is very clean with a good breakfast and great customer service. Paul and his wife took good care of us.

I've stayed for several nights in a row. The rooms are always clean. The staff was very helpful. The pool and other amenities were very nice and always clean. The breakfast was always really good! The staff were very kind to my children. My kids loved staying here! I look forward to my next stay. Highly Recommended!

Property was very nice and room was great. Excellent customer service. Complementary breakfast had many options. Front desk very responsive to requests and needs. Would defiantly stay there again when traveling in that area.

Nice place to stay if you need to be in Duchesne, we went looking for RE, but realized the area was not what we had in mind. Ended up near Duck Creek. However the this Extended Stay was a nice place to stay while there.

Very clean king room with kitchenette. Conveniently located near burger king, gas station (next door) and family dollar just down the street. Not much available for breakfast but we did arrive toward the end.

We had to adjust our travel and stay in Duchesne, and we stayed at this very nice new hotel/motel. Kudos to the manager and staff. Several big state parks, Flaming Gorge, and Dinosaur National Monument are nearby.

I paid for a room for two nights correctly stating that three people would be staying in the room. The online order receipt clearly showed this. However when I arrived at the Hotel lobby the general manager added a charge of $10 per night claiming that I only ordered a room for two people and that the third person required an additional charge of $10 per night. At checkout I tried to correct this by showing the person at the desk my online order receipt, but not only would she not correct this, she would not provide a receipt for my stay, claiming instead that she would have to check with the general manager and would send my receipt later. None came. I see now from other reviews that I am not the first to get this treatment. The hotel lobby and entry area were extremely dirty. A faulty alarm/emergency light buzzed loudly in the hallway. The room itself was noisy, with the refrigerator making loud noises and heater/ac unit providing more. The room layout is nice, with a small kitchen area, tiny dining table for two in addition to the beds. On the negative side the bathroom door handle almost fell off, the shower rail was loose, the faucet in the bathroom was loose and the drain wasn't working properly. Breakfast was lacking, with waffles providing the best option. Penny pinching is evident in the days old hard boiled eggs, watery yogurt, dry biscuits and pastries.
