Best Western Plus Dryden Hotel & Conference Centre

The location was right on main highway but not noisy. Great amenities at hotel: pool, restaurant, internet, fridge and microwave in room. The food at the restaurant was good and not expensive. Enjoyed having a main floor room due to surgery. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was free grab and go with many options

Decor is very tired. Found debris in the room upon arrival. Bathroom sink did not drain. Overall the disappointing experience.

Little details made this my favorite hotel of a 24-day trip. Clean and comfortable, for sure, with a nice restaurant attached. I loved having a door to the outside from our room, and that the restaurant was just across the parking lot (You can walk to it completely inside, if the weather is bad, but weather was perfect when we were there). I appreciated the hand-held showerhead, the efficient bathroom fan, the little sofa and coffee table, plenty of places to lay out your suitcase, and reading light and charging station at the bedside table. The cooked-to-order breakfast was a treat, and the night before, the restaurant hostess took extra care to make my take-out dessert extra beautiful.

Good location when travelling out west, resteraunt on site offered a sit down included breakfast enjoyed the eggs Benedict. Had the steak dinner it was ok and priced well $35. Room was clean and bed was encased had a pet friendly room and whole family had a restful sleep. Also enjoyed hot, tub, steam room and pool was very clean. Fancy complimentary coffee machine and water in the lobby also was great!

A very comfortable hotel in Dryden. The restaurant in the hotel is very convenient and has pretty good food. The breakfast is particularly delicious and it's great that it is served to you at the table, not a buffet. The room was very comfortable and had a seating area which was great for watching TV.

Loved this hotel, really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna! Love the old fashioned vibe - I hope they never renovate the pool!

We had to drive to Dryden for an emergency vet appointment. We called the hotel, and Tammy was on the Front Desk. She was absolutely amazing. She did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, giving us a room with an outside door (street level), for our dog. The room was clean, comfortable, and it was a welcome sight after such a harrowing trip. We then had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The servers, chef, even the housekeepers were so fantastic and Kind. It was a great stay, and we will be traveling there again next month. Without a doubt, we will be staying there. Thank you to ALL the staff there, for being so kind to us. You will not be forgotten!

Restaurant was terrible, sent back a steak sandwich twice and gave up - ordered it medium rare and came out of the Kitchen well done both times . Hungry ordered an appetizer which arrived with burnt hard brown cheese . Yeah - eat anywhere in town but here .

Room was clean and the experience was great we had our pet dog and he was given a treat and the food in the restaurant was great and we really were treated well

This facility is easily found, near alot of ammenities. The property has large rooms, very clean, microwave, very nice shower, fridge. Room was comfortable. Internet was easily gotten. Price was reasonable. A very nice pool area !!! unfortunately we were too tired to partake in it but another time we will. A VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY !!!!!!

The pillows were fluffy and the bed was very comfortably. The soap dispenser was pretty much empty, so I had to use shampoo to wash my hands, and the couch had a funny smell to it.

Exceptional place to stay! Beds are so comfy! Free fancy coffee and teas in the lobby 24/7 And a free breakfast! Anything on their menu The steam bath and pool make for a wonderful sleep! Anytime we have to stay in Dryden Ontario we choose this hotel!!

The room was very comfortable and nice and bright at night I have had takeout in past from B & B Roadhouse their restaurant and food is very good, especially their soups All the staff is great, and the property is very inviting, you fell home away from home

Breakfast was garbage. It was start to a bad day. Service was very poor. Buffet had no decent choices. They brought me burnt toast. It was poorly set up. My next day stay was at BW Moose Jaw. It was world apart comparing to Dryden BW Not going back to this property ever again

The staff at front desk were very helpful. The restaurant was nice. Food was very good as well as service. The room we stayed in however was on the bottom floor. The bed was comfortable but it really smelled in our room. The whole hotel could use a good refurbishment. We paid $300.00 to stay there and was not worth it. I would rate this as a 1 star at the best.

Great staff at the reception desk! Nice feeling to be welcomed especially after a long days drive. Had a minor issue with the outside entrance door to the room. That was taken care of right away. (Good job) Clean, comfortable, quiet and good food at the restaurant.

After a very long travelling day and arriving over five hours later than planned, the staff were extremely helpful and got us into our room very quickly. They asked if we needed anything else and wished us a restful sleep.

This hotel is conveniently located directly along the main road into Dryden and close to several grocery stores and fast food outlets, but also has its own restaurant onsite. Check in was quick and friendly and the ground floor room I had offered access from the parking lot (drive-up) or interior hall-way. I was surprised to learn my booking included a complimentary breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and included a Keurig coffee maker with a small selection of Van Haute coffee and Tim Hortons steeped tea.

I have stated this place multiple times and it is always clean comfortable and all the staff are always very helpful. The restaurants always consistent and delicious. I have rented board rooms and I've come with my family. Both experiences are wonderful.

We stay at this hotel every year on our way north to fish. Plenty of area to park boats, which makes this our favorite place to stay in Dryden. The restaurant has good food and great service. I highly recommend this hotel.

I always have a great experience at the Beat Western Plus in Dryden. Staff is great, food is very good and it is located in an area to get to other stores if needed.

I've been wanting to stay here for the longest time and I beliefs that this was an amazing hotel and I was right . I would definitely recommend to stay here and if you are planning on staying here make sure you book it 2 days in advance because it fills up very quickly

Another great stay in Dryden, the bathrooms have been refreshed, and the new smart Tvs are great. I was able to cast my phone to the TV in my room and enjoy my media from home. The food in onsite was great, and I appreciate the to go breakfast in the morning.

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent staff at both hotel and the attached restaurant. Included breakfast is awesome compared to most. Parking included is great and right at your room. Honestly wish every hotel was this great. Would absolutely stay again.

Highly recommend this hotel. The stay was great, rooms were clean and quiet. There's a nice lobby with a variety of hot beverages which was great to relax as we waited for our room to be ready (arrived early as it wasn't our intended destination but a snow storm prevented us from traveling further that day). Staff are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast is a voucher from the restaurant and you can choose any item from their regular menu (take out included) and the food was fantastic. Also ate dinner there and food was tasty and fresh. There's a large pool, hot tub and sauna. Only complaint (and minor) is that not all the jets in the hot tub were working.

Anh at the front desk was efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast at the restaurant was exceptionally good and once again the excellent customer service. Highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The customer service was excellent, the rooms were clean and the restaurant food was great! we enjoyed a restful and peaceful 2 day stay for a funeral in the area. Enjoyed a nice drink in the pub area first night we arrived because the restaurant was already closed.

Fantastic hosts! The room is comfortable and very clean. My queen room has a great seating area I was not expecting. This stop has everything you need with a restaurant on site, pool, etc. It is right off the trans-Canada so you don't have to go into town unless you want to. Very convenient. We stayed in a King bed room. We really liked the sink being separate from the toilet and shower - made getting ready in the morning much quicker. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The room was clean and quiet and we noticed signs in the elevator asking people to respect quiet hours. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that breakfast was included in our stay (this was not obvious from the booking information online so I didn't think it was included). Breakfast was served in the restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and efficient. The food was very good - choices included eggs Benedict, French toast, omelettes and a few other choices. We tried the eggs Bennie and French toast and both were great. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend this Best Western.

I try to stay here every time I'm in Dryden. Rooms are good, handy for food and pool, etc.. Lots of places close to shop if needs be. The staff are always friendly. Gas station close as well. Will stay on future trips.

Good hotel choices in Dryden are limited, and this BW Plus property seems to be about the best. It's located on the main highway, but far enough away that road noise is not an issue. "Convention Center" in the name is a bit of an embellishment, as it's about the size of your typical Hampton Inn. But it's nice enough, and a big plus is that it has a good restaurant and separate bar---both popular with locals. We had a two-queen room for just one night. The room showed some age, but was fine for us. It should be noted that the beds were pretty high, which could be an issue for some people. The bathroom was an older style (small sink area, etc.), but the shower was good. Staff were friendly. The hotel has a nice pool, but unusual for a hotel of this class, it has no fitness room. As noted above, we had good food for dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant---service was a bit slow, but it's good to have an on-site restaurant where you can get a full breakfast and a diverse dinner menu. Overall, the hotel met our expectations.

This was the most outstanding stay I have ever had , front desk was so friendly and understanding! It made us feel like we were at home . My son , dog and I were very happy and pleased with this stay and would highly remit to all our friends and family.

This property is always my first choice when i stay in Dryden. The staff are always friendly, check in always prompt. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Pool area is roomy, and modern. The food is decent and i have never had a bad experience, in the reataurant or pub. Always enjoyable!

Took reservation by phone and followed up immediately with Conf. #. Spoke clearly and unhurriedly to obtain all the information. Answered questions regarding dining options, and made helpful suggestions above and beyond the call of duty. Awesome Service!

My car suffered a serious breakdown outside Dryden midway on my cross-country trip from Montreal to Edmonton. I was in shock bracing myself for what would materialize as an over $5K bill. (That is another story...) My car broke down about 20 kms outside town so required a 3 hour wait and tow - and while I was relieved to get a place to sleep the first night - there was nowhere to eat (by foot) but McDonald's. I had a lousy experience the 1st night at a local hotel, and, realizing that my repairs were going to be time-consuming, decided to scout out new digs - what a great decision!! Enter the Best Western where my room cost $5 more, but the value was tenfold!! The manager, Kim, was so understanding of my needs and my stressful situation. Not only did she find space in a fully occupied facility, but the space she provided suited my needs to a tee, and she worked with me as we inched my reservation along - adding two days, and then two more and then one more...simply brilliant! She also gave me some great tips on points of interest in Dryden. The BW was fantastic!! My room was clean and had every bell and whistle - plus a tub!! Not only did the restaurant have great hours, but they had fabulous salads and fairly priced food, plus a great line up of regional micro-brewery beers. Oh - they also had breakfast included - which was great!! The swimming pool and hot tub were great - and I discovered a steam room as well! And, we had access in the lobby to great free beverages: coffee and tea, and water - fizzy; hot; chilled and alkaline! Marvellous! The room I got was ingenious as it had two doors; one which opened onto the parking so I could park my rental car - and eventually my own vehicle - right there. Did that ever help with repacking!! But more than anything was the kindness and the comfort offered in what was a very disruptive and disrupted journey. I can't say enough about Kim and her staff: I came in as a stranger and left as a friend. Bravo!! I know where to stay on my next cross-continental Odyssey!! Thank you all!

Room was dirty, microwave was filthy. No luggage carts available. Large hockey tournament group with no respect for others. Very noisy when we were trying to sleep. Terrible stay for the high price, but not much choice due to limited hotels in the area. Staff were great though!

After diving on treacherous winter roads it was nice to check in before the usual check in time. The front desk clerk personal checked to ensure our reserved room was cleaned and ready. We then were treated to a complimentary breakfast, where the service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and hot. The one thing that is minor everyone over looks is the T.V. channel card, how is someone suppose to find the network channels without this card. So thankful Best Western provides this card. I hate wasting time scrolling though channels.

Stayed for business while travelling regionally. This hotel did everything it promised to do and did it well. Room was cozy, price was very reasonable, internet was good enough to stream content, clean, great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was SPOTLESS CLEAN as was the lobby and restaurant where we had our breakfast that was included. This breakfast was unique in that is included servers and allowed us to order anything off the menu. The food was excellent! (I NEVER like hotel breakfasts and typically grab a banana and skip them all together.) A+ hotel stay! Highly recommend, especially with your dog!

Best Western Plus in Dryden is like staying away from home and being at home. Staff is very friendly for the GM to housekeeping etc. Dining room staff is very friendly, and service is very quick Parking is very good as well, lots of space and a Hybrid station for EV and Hybrid

This Hotel has all your needs covered with Excellent Staff and is my prefered stay when in Dryden.They Go above and Beyond When I asked for a King room and the Hotel was Full and they had none available I was given the Governors Suite with no extra charge which was totally unexpected that they would go the extra mile to please their Guests.

Wonderful stay in Dryden! Clean comfortable room. Plenty of parking for trucks with a boat trailer. Bar & restaurant on site, good food & drinks. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was also very good.

Excellent hotel in Dryden, Ontario. We had previously stayed at a competitor down the road. We enjoyed the stay here much better. We would definitely stay here again. Good food in restaurant. The restaurant staffing for breakfast could have used more people.

Other than no early check in service the experience was great. The bed and pillows were so comfortable would even purchase their brand if known. The dining room had excellent staff who engaged you in conversation and always had a smile on their face. The quality of the food was great and plentiful, was surprised how good the coffee was as it can be hit or miss at hotels.

Excellent experience. Very clean with a fresh new look. The staff was very nice and very professional. It had amenities unlike any other hotel or Inn for many kilometers away from Dryden. The free breakfast deal offered many options with lots of food if desired. Beautiful area to explore and plenty of great fishing we learned from other guests.

This hotel has been part of our travel experience over the years. This time, after a few years of not being here I was astonished to walk into a fully renovated building! It has the same great layout, but everything is wonderfully redone. The pool, restaurant and the great soaring entrance hall are very attractive. My pet friendly room was really wonderful, large, with a big soaker tub, a full size sofa, desk, and coffee table, comfy bed, a tv you could turn to watch on the bed or the sofa. and everything was sparkly clean. The door went directly outside with lots of area to walk the dog. The service was top notch.

We stay here on our travel east and then back west! Comfortable Hotel, great pool and awesome breakfast! The kids had an awesome time and we loved the food at the restaurant. Staff were nice and friendly!

We drove from Alberta to PEI and back over a 3 week period. This was hands down the best place we stayed. The room was excellent, the breakfast was exceptional, service impeccable. We wished we could have stayed there for our whole trip! If you are going to or through Dryden, STAY HERE!

We traveled over 2,000 miles with stops in Michigan, Ontario, Manitoba, and North Dakota, and this was by far the friendliest town. Some towns barely tolerate tourists, but every encounter we had in Dryden, from the grocery store, gas, station, and restaurants to this hotel, was with friendly people. The Best Western is an older hotel that is well-maintained and clean. We had a room on the main floor, motel-style, with our car parked outside our room door, which was convenient. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. We don't normally eat the hotel breakfasts, but our breakfast was included in the rate, and it was made to order and good!

We stayed on the 1st floor. Room smelled gross, Dryden itself smells like garbage due to the pulp and paper mill but the room had its own unique flavour. Asked for a different room but we were told we couldn't get a discount or another room due the fact we booked online. Not sure how that matters but we wouldn't stay here again. Rooms are small and poorly appointed. It is a motel disguised as a hotel.

The hotel was one of the best experiences in a long time, the staff were awesome, the service was the best and the rooms are beautiful up to date. The breakfast was beyond expectations so the whole stay was beyond our expectations, thank you for a relaxing experience.

Good service, staff were very friendly and helpful, clean room with mini fridge, coffeemaker, very comfortable bed, quiet sleep. Best part was breakfast at the restaurant was included in the room rate and customers could order any meal on the menu. Tips were not included but still a great deal. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Great way to start off the day.

Another great relaxing, hassle free experience at Dryden Best Western. The front desk staff were welcoming as always, and the room was amazing, quite and clean. After a long day of weekend work, I enjoyed a delicious Prime Rib meal at the B&B restaurant (Fri & Sat special) that really hit the spot. Restaurant staff were quick and attentive, the Steak was done perfect, even the veggies were flavorful

We were traveling to Fort McMurray from Kingston, Ontario and came to the Best Western for the evening. Could not ask for a better place to spend the night. Easy to find, friendly desk staff when checking in. Everyone we dealt with was exceptional. Very clean hotel.

My wife and I travel back and forth from Quebec QC and Golden BC every ski season with our dog. We stay in the same hotels after experimenting with many and we have established the best choices so Best Western is one of them.

I am beyond disappointed and angry with this hotel/restaurant. Our room is right next to the entrance to the restaurant. We put our toddler down for bed and left the room with a baby monitor on. We can see/hear her at all times. We walked 40 feet to the lounge to order dinner. Within that time a waitress took it upon herself to call the police, citing child neglect. Our server gave us the heads up (and said this is the second time the same waitress has done this to a family). I returned to our room to sit in the dark/quiet while my daughter slept. Within 15 minutes a police officer knocked on our door, waking our daughter. When the situation was explained he said we have done nothing wrong and he would speak with the staff to clear this up. I am disgusted at this woman's actions. She ruined our stay, and our road trip through this province has been soured.

This hotel is very clean and accommodating, recommend. Breakfast was served in the restaurant, little unusual. A bit pricy for what it was, due to the remote area prices are steep. The beds are very nice and comfortable.

The hotel is well maintained and the room was clean and spacious. I like that you can park right outside the door of many of the rooms. We ordered from the restaurant and the prices are reasonable and the food is good. This hotel has the best breakfast of any hotels I have stayed in. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stopped at this hotel on our trip across Canada. The hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very professional. We enjoyed the restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast the next morning. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Great service free full breakfast clean very comfortable rooms. I would definitely stay here again and tell others as well. The wait staff in the dining room were very good and the food was good as well.

I had an online reservation arrival error that was supposed to be non-refundable. I asked the front desk if they could make the change and they did. The breakfast was in the restaurant and it was anything on the menu, not just a smog of bacon, eggs, etc. We had egg benny!. Very nice room and staff. Definitely recommended.

They went above and beyond to try and make everything smooth and Co-Vid safe. Found internet to be spotty at best but wasn't a game changer. Restaurant has great food with great service. No need to venture out on the town to eat.

We had a wonderful stay each time we booked accommodations with the Best Western. Zero complaints & Max was treated kindly and givena doggy treat. I would recomend staying here above any other hotel. You won't be disappointed....unless they're all booked.

We found this spot on our road trip west and are so glad we decided to stay. The staff here are so professional and friendly. They are very helpful. On the way home I called to get a room and they were sold out for the night. I asked them to call me if they got a cancellation and within an hour they they called! Talk about great service! The rooms are spacious and very clean. Everything in working order and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The restaurant in the hotel is the #1 hotel in the town. Great food but make a reservation for dinner as they're busy on weekends. We'll be back.

The room was supper clean and the whole hotel looks and feel clean, towels were fresh and the bed super comfortable. With the pandemic cleanliness is our priority. The onsite restaurant serve a decent meals.

Clean, clean, clean. Rooms, and common areas very well kept. Attached restaurant was excellent. Would highly recommend this as a stop. Staff were friendly, and attentive in both the restaurant and desk area. Seeing staff picking up trash outside was a nice to see. So often exterior cleanliness is poor, so this makes a great first impression.

My last stay was my fourth stay at this hotel. I had a horrible experience during check-in. The clerk was not concerned when I said I would not be staying again as a result, her response " that is your choice".

The express check-in and check-out worked perfectly! Front desk and restaurant staff were courteous, friendly and efficient. I especially appreciated the front desk phone call enquiring of my satisfaction with the room.

Excellent service efficient check in rooms were comfortable and clean and really accommodated our dog we did not try the restaurant since we didn't want to leave a dog alone but we did take out which turned out too be very good

Excellent staff from the front desk to the restaurant. Clean rooms and great beds. The offer of breakfast included with the room was welcome during covid so did not have to eat a meal outside the hotel. In fact the restaurant was really good. Staff explained daily special which we ended up ordering. Recommend this hotel in Dryden.

I am and will remain a repeat customer! From check-in to check-out, meals (dinner and breakfast) and amenities are always great. The staff are friendly and well trained, and willing to help or answer questions with a smile. The rooms are always clean, and I always sleep very well.

The room was nice and clean except for a spider web or something like that hanging off the heating/cooling system. We told Pool and Hot tub were available when book, but when we went to use pool, NO Water in it.

It was a comforable stay. Breakfast choices were good. We were disappointed that the pool was closed, but as that was the government covid restrictions, I won't hold it against them. I was happy that I could bring my dog.

So first things first - we came here with our 3 young kids - drove 4 hours from Winnipeg - the whole time reminding our kids that we would be in the pool as soon as we got there. When I checked in I noticed there was no water in the pool. Mentioned to the woman at the front desk who basically laughed at me and told me it wasn't open. I asked why I wasn't told this when I booked and she replied “well did you ask” so rude I couldn't believe how terrible this made our stay at the hotel. We had nothing to do all evening with our kids. We would've brought games and coloring and play doh if we had known. Actually we wouldnt have taken half a day off work ans even stopped in Dryden - had we known about the pool. The breakfast was terrible (undercooked bacon and potato/fries) We called down for a couple items at 7 pm (shampoo and cups) and they just never ever came up to bring them to us. Horrible place - never go here !

Breakfast at Best Western in this location is served at B&B roadhouse. Ordered takeout for breakfast and experienced rude service from staff. She wasn't happy to be there or wanted to serve me. Loud and angry while taking my order. Didn't follow COVID protocol by not wearing face mask properly (nostrils were exposed). Had my dinner at this restaurant the night before and had a pleasant experience.

Easy check-in, beds we're extremely comfortable and staff was accommodating at the front desk. Rooms felt very clean with covid protocols in place. We also liked being able to back in in front of our room for easy unpacking in the evening and repacking in the morning.

My stay at the Best Western was good however the carpets in the room were filthy. I can see that they have done some renovations and overall it was a good stay beds are super comfy and the shower was amazing. Just the carpets were disgusting

Great room, great service and great staff. I recommend anyone to stay here if they are looking for a hotel. I stayed at the Dryden location, which looked out of place as it looked very high end and modern from the exterior, very imprressed.

Front seat staff were exceptional. Room and building were clean. I could not hear any noise around me. During covid they are still able to keep the environment safe and sanitized. It's actually nice not having housekeeping come to your room every day. As a travel nurse I worry about putting them at risk. Anything g you need is a phone call away.

On a trip across Canada to visit ill family member, we chose Best Western for an overnite along the way. We chose the Best Western for a bit better room than we had the nite before in the Motel 6. Big mistake. Average room, no continental breakfast or extras and an unbelievably high cost for the nite. Won't sleep for weeks after that Rip Off. Thanks for Nothing!!

Was stranded just outside of Dinorwic with a flat tire, so had to spend a night in Dryden. They took me as a walk-in, no issues at all. Super friendly lady at the front desk. :) Honestly, you can't really go wrong with Best Western. Was actually one of the nice BW hotels I've stayed at. The restaurant had pretty good food too, I might add. The hearty breakfast is exactly what I needed the next day. Would definitely come back if staying in town again.

We have travelled acrossed the country and USA, over the years, and have always enjoyed staying at BW. Our stay at BW Dryden was very disappointing. The non smoking room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. There was a draft under the door even though they had installed a screen door. Lastly the price was outrageous. The restaurant associated with the location was excellent, great staff and good food. Unfortunately we would not recommend this location.

We are always extremely pleased with the service we receive at the Best Western Plus in Dryden! Manager and staff are very professional and friendly. It is our "home away from home" when we go to Dryden!

Pros - Clean linens, beds and bathroom - Big Pro: the breakfast is cooked in the ground level restaurant and can choose from many choices based on a menu; good quality also. - Very efficient no contact service - A voucher was offered for one free breakfast (one people got free breakfast and the other needs to pay it) Cons - The breakfast is not included in price ($15 as I remember for eggs, bacon, hash potatoes, toast) - Expensive for Thursday night in Dryden - $177

It is always enjoyable to stay at the Best Western in Dryden. The staff there are very friendly the check-in and check-out is very quick I have never had a problem staying there the food in the restaurant is good.

The people were great friendly and very helpful with my stay here will stay their again any time thank you great people their for the wonderful 2 nights. The food was awesome the room was very clean and the beds were very nice had a great sleep here.

Stayed here last week. Our room was great, and very clean. All staff were knowledgeable and courteous and the on site restaurant provided a nice place to dine after a long drive. Breakfast was well beyond expectations, with Eggs Benedict and home fries, and there was a variety of other hot breakfasts on the menu. All in all a very pleasant hotel to stay at and we would certainly go there again for a one or more night stay.

Stayed one night. Room was tiny and cramped but good news is we could park right outside the door. Staff at front desk was not into it that day, no coffee provided in room using covid as an excuse and frankly the room was over priced for what was received. Will not stay here on our return trip

After staying at Holiday Inn Dryden, 2 wks before, decided to try Best Western this time; thankfully they had a Vacancy. Best Western far superior in all the ways that count ... comfortable beds ... cleanliness ... adherence to COVID protocols ... friendly Front Desk staff ... Would highly recommend.

Dryden BW was great at ensuring Covid-19 safety protocols were followed by staff and guests while still offering restaurant and other services throughout the day. Staff were friendly and helpful but not afraid to enforce safety protocols, ensuring that everyone was safe. The included full breakfast was excellent. We forgot our pillows and they mailed them to us - great service! I highly recommend this hotel.

Wow! This was our first time staying at this hotel and they would absolutely get our business again. We didn't have a reservation in town so when we pulled up to inquire about rates, they went above and beyond. We were travelling with dogs and their pet-friendly rooms were sold out. The front desk employee, Shawna, offered us a non-pet-friendly room which she made pet-friendly without any additional fees due to a manager's special on offer. Our rate was a great deal and included a hot breakfast from the attached restaurant. Most hotels are only offering bagged breakfasts due to COVID restrictions. In the morning, the restaurant was dealing with a system issue but took our order and it was completed quickly. And it was perhaps the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. The room was clean and comfortable, and although the bathroom sink area was a bit dated it was well maintained. The hotel is located right on the main road but we didn't hear any noise.

Great stop for travelling through with an EV! Great stay, clean rooms, friendly staff and EV charging on-site! Although we are travelling during the pandemic, we felt that all necessary precautions are in place.

An older Best Western but is very quite, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel conveniently located. Rooms are well appointed, and very clean with comfortable beds, and quite. Pet friendly and the location provides adequate area to exercise dog after day of travel. Even with the COVID situation the Hotel provide a full tasty breakfast for pick-up and eating in the room. Would recommend staying at this hotel when traveling in the region.

❌ Found a coarse white hair in food from restaurant. Big yuck. Obviously didn't want to eat the complimentary breakfast next morning. ❌ Also, bed frame was broken when we arrived and had to have maintenance come to our room to fix it. Not ideal after a long drive and you want to relax. ❌ woken up by the room alarm clock that was set to 5:00am. Assumed they were turned off by housekeeping like all other hotels I've stayed at. Tired long drive the next day as a result. ✅ We were refunded cost of the one meal with hair in it. ✅ Broken bed was promptly attended to. ✅ Staff were very friendly and helpful ✅ Easy to find, great location right on the highway

It was very clean, quiet, beds were great. It was worth the price. I originally was going to stay at the comfort inn however the front staff was not inviting. For the price they were going to charge me for the room I decided to stay at the best western. The outside of the build presented as safe clean and luxurious.

This was a costly room but the breakfast was free and the beds were very comfortable! Wi-Fi worked great. I thought the breakfast was a little tired tasting but they were quick with prep. Due to C19 we brought it to our room.

We were traveling home during this Covid-19 pandemic, with Ontario shutting down. Staff there seem to be a ghost (as is everywhere) shell of a larger staff. However, with their reality of possible lay-offs and personal risk - they were so very great. They showed care, compassion and exceeded duty to ensure that my family was safe, fed and we'll taken care of. I will be telling family and friends ofy experience.

I forgot how much I disliked this hotel until I arrived here. The brochure says “state of the art fitness centre” but I would disagree with that statement. My home gym has better quality equipment and more of it in this tiny room. It is awkward if you have more than two people in here at once. You can only have one person doing weights at a time due to space restraints. There also was no water or water jug at all when I was there. I had to fill up my bottle in the bathroom. There are no windows either and feels like it is a closet. My last visit the elliptical was annoyingly loud with a squeak and I let the front staff know. It was not fixed this visit, so I felt bad for anyone in the room. I tried to switch hotels, but the other larger hotel is under renovations. The picture attached makes it look big but it really isn't. The gym/swimming bathroom had garbage all over the counter. My hotel room was not dusted and there were leaves on the floor. I wouldn't want to stay here for longer than a day and unfortunately I'm here for almost a week.

Poor cleanliness in my room, garbage and a cigarette butt under the bed. My lunch order was forgotten and I had a long way to travel with kids. So I had to waste time finding another place to get lunch for my kids and then ended up having to drive in the dark.

Stayed at hotels that were half the price and got better value. Room lock didn't work. Bathroom wasn't very clean. Breakfast was terrible. Had to sign up to get a discount rate on the room which still needed up being $200 for one night.

I have stayed at the Best Western in Dryden many times and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Rooms are always in great shape and clean. Never any complaints and will definitely stay there again.

Steam room and a hockey game for the first night. Second night: gaming all night in my room... online... multiplayer all night. No connection loss. Bringing the internet cable next time cause i didn't even notice the internet hole thingie haha. Just a dope trip.

We have been staying here over the holidays for several years. I find the ground floor more convenient as we have an exit directly to our car as well as one leading into the hotel. The heating is excellent. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and the room had everything we needed to be a comfortable home away from home.

This is our usual choice for an overnight stay in Dryden on our way to or from Saskatchewan during holiday trips. While we were not able to take advantage of the free breakfast this time it is a great benefit of membership.

Nice hotel. Rooms are expensive for what they are. The heater was on full but the room was still chilly. Comfy bed and pool area was really nice. The restaurant was ok, nothing special but it was alright.

our hockey team stayed here with no troubles!!!! the restaurant and lounge provided great service and quality food!! Rooms were good and our kids and parents had no issues all weekend. Outside access to our rooms was the highlight especially with hockey bags.

This is a nice hotel. My room was on the second floor, and the farthest from the front desk. Wifi was great. Room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were great. Ample parking. This hotel has a pool and restaurant. A plus was that you can request a grab-and-go snack for the road, complete with a drink. Great Hotel!

I had the opportunity to stay at this location for 3 nights while supporting an onsite conference. The staff team was friendly and very professional. Everything from the room, to the conference space to the food at the conference and in the lounge were amazing! I look forward to returning!

Very Good hotel, I just recommend booking a week in advance. Their breakfest menu has very good selection in the restaurant and the buffet was excellent, they also will do room servi e from the lounge to your room.

On my way across Canada, from Vancouver to Montreal via the TransCanada Highway, I stopped overnight at this BW hotel. Predictable, comfortable, helpfull staff and reasonably priced. Not impressed with the very limited breakfast choice of scrambled eggs with bacon.

This is one of the better hotels in Dryden, definitely one of the best. The restaurant food is good I usually get the chicken supreme, gym is small but works, it is always clean and staff are helpful and friendly! Never disappointed

This is a nice clean hotel. very comfortable. Once renovations are complete will be excellent. The hotel is right on 11/17 with easy access to the City. There is a pub attached to the hotel with basic pub food.

I always have a great stay with Best Western. People are great, restaurant has good food, rooms are clean. When possible i stay there unless it is full. Easy check in and check out. Will continue to stay there.

It was an average hotel. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all nice. However they give memberships to Dryden locals to access the pool, hot tub, and sauna. So the hotel itself was fairly empty but the pool was busy with locals consistently. Quite a few locals also bring their own booze in which was a little strange with all the kids around. Be sure to ask at the front desk for pool towels as they dont keep them near the pool. The staff were nice and friendly overall. The rooms did seem a little pricey for the type of hotel.

We stayed at this beautiful Hotel while travelling with family.The pool was a delight with its very big slide for children.The water was at comfortable temperature.Rooms were spacious Breakfast in their restaurant though limited was sumptuous.Nice Hotel n nice staff .

Stayed here in August 2019. Room was clean. Had dinner in the pub. Some good craft beers and food was great. Had some kids running up and down the hall and then outside, but still managed to get to sleep.

If you are looking for a full service hotel with all the amenities, the Best Western Plus in Dryden is a sure choice to satisfy your needs. From check in to check out, they have you covered for food, drink, fitness and even a dip in the pool. Centrally located in Dryden they are a great facility with both front lobby entrance and drive to door entrances for lower level rooms.

The staff are always helpful and respectful. When we need assistance for anything in the room, they are prompt. I like the hotel is connected with a restaurant, lounge, and pool. I like the central location.

The room we had was very nice. We especially liked having the sink and mirror separate from the toilet and shower. We had supper in the restaurant and it was very good. Also reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful.

We really liked our choice on our way through Dryden. Room was clean, spacious and so well laid out. Decent price although does not include breakfast as we thought. On site restaurant is very good. Be careful where you park. Someone threw a hockey bag (was alot of hockey bags in the lobby) or something on my hood and scuffed it badly

We stay here each year the night before our fishing vacation. 4 years in a row now. Traveling 12 hours to get here. Later check in. They always save the same room for us per our request. Very friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Pool and hot tub are nice. Breakfast is great (be sure to become a member so it's included in your stay). We already booked our room for next year!

What a great hotel with wonderful staff. Our stay was fabulous and our complimentary breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay here again on our trips between Waterloo Ontario and Calgary Alberta.

Nice hotel like your average Best western but at $194 a night is too much when they offers others at $131 for the same room without breakfast (just need to be the right person with discount) , but you do get a nice $10 breakfast for free. Hmm $60 more a breakfast you can buy for $10 is not worth the extra cost.

We were driving home from Regina and Dryden was our chosen stop for the first night. We got the last room at this hotel- last room in town it seems. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet despite being booked solid. They were really accommodating about giving us a locked place to store a large tent on the ground floor so we wouldn't have to haul it up to the second floor. The hotel has a restaurant attached and the food was good- portions were huge! They have a selection of local craft beer from Kenora (I would recommend the Sultana Gold and the firehouse amber). The only thing I could say is the “free breakfast” isn't actually free. When we arrived the lady at the desk that checked us in said the price quoted was for one adult. If we wanted the “free breakfast” for all three of us it would cost an additional $10 per person. So not free. Not a huge deal- we hit the Tim hortons on the way out of town.

This property is a real gem in Dryden. The room although a little older was great shape and clean! Happy to say everything worked as needed and the out door access to the parking stalls in the morning made packing up super easy. The breakfast is served in their family restaurant, either the buffet or menu item. Good buffet and great poached egg on the eggs benny. Also had the pizza from the lounge and it was also awesome. Friendly staff, clean rooms, you can't go wrong.

Very comfortable room with lots of space and great beds. The staff were efficient and pleasant. The hotel is well laid out and it is easy to get a room with easy access to your car just outside. Our second stay included breakfast in the attached restaurant, which was excellent. Our first stay did not include breakfast and I have yet to break the code to making it happen every time. It is a bit on the expensive side, but worth it to me.

I have stayed in this particular hotel twice in the last 12 days as my family travelled across Canada (once on the way out west and now again on the way back). Over the last 12 days I've stayed in three different Best Westerns, two Comfort Inns, a Ramada Hotel, the Fantasyland Hotel in Edmonton, and a motor Inn. If I had written this review after my first stay here, last weekend, I would have given the Dryden Best Western 4 or 5 stars. We were just there for our second stay though and I was told that breakfast is not included with our stay this time (but I wasn't told why.. the woman at the desk "didn't know"). When I signed up to become a Best Western Rewards member, I was told that it would guarantee we always received free breakfast. As a side note, ALL of the hotels we have stayed at have given us free breakfast, except Fantasyland. When we stayed at the Dryden Best Western last week we received breakfast but not this time, for some unknown reason. It turned out to be a significant annoyance in that the McDonald's was busy so it took a long time to get our breakfast, putting us behind schedule - and I paid almost $30 for a crappy breakfast. It ended up being the most expensive night of our entire trip. More importantly, it doesn't make me feel as though my business is valued. Bottom line: Best Western Dryden has lost my business and any future recommendations I might otherwise have given.

Overall the hotel was clean and accommodating, nonetheless I did have an foul order in my room; that did not come the Mill. the Restaurant servers were very friendly however I order a cream of potato soup and it was not creamy the potato's were pureed and the Chicken wings I ordered were "Precooked" cold in the inside and hot on the outside.

I got married in Dryden ON this past July and had quite a few family and friends stay in the Best Western. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I had a slight mix up with my booking and they went out of their way to correct it. The serving staff in the restaurant, the lounge and the servers for the reception were all great. Thank you BW Dryden. I highly recommend!!

We arrived later in the day so we weren't sure if we would be able to get a room. The staff was very accommodating and we were able to get a standard 2 queen bed room. The staff were wonderful and the Hotel was very clean and inviting. If we are ever in Dryden again we will definitely make the Best Western Dryden our hotel choice.

Just like last year on the way to Silver Water Wheel Lodge our stay was great. Very nice staff in reception and in the adjacent restaurant. Well equipped, comfy, clean room. The king room has a couch(pullout) so extra seating for relaxing.

This is a Nice hotel with a pool that the grandkids loved. A Breakfast buffet was included in our room cost. The staff was very Friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We visited for a family wedding. It was a great experience.

A really great place to stay. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms are very clean. Everything worked. No issues at all. Free breakfast is actually fresh as opposed to microwaved sausage patties and half frozen bagels. Always my first call when I have to stay in Dryden.

I try and always stay at this hotel.. When I call the hotel directly to book a room, they are fast to answer, friendly and make sure that I get what I need. The process is easy to check in and to check out. The lobby and my rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is good. I enjoy spending time at the pool.

The buffet breakfast was cold, the room stunk, and I was locked out of my room for an hour before maintenance came to open it. I was delayed and hour and a half leaving and had to cut out some things I wanted to see on the way home.

Plenty of room for trucks boats Good food staff friendly. Nice to be able to eat and relax at bar without moving our trucks and boats. Food is good and breakfast free. Have tried other hotels in Dryden and my group keep coming back to this Best Western last 5 years

We found the Best Western to be ideal for a great night sleep the rooms are clean and good size. Once we checked in we simply pulled up to our room and unloaded directly into our room. Another door connected to the interior of the hotel and provided access to the dining room wiithout walking outside. If you like firm beds this is the place. The room charge includes breakfast for two of anything on the menu . The food was excellent and large portions.

The hotel has two floors. We were in a room on the upper floor which could be reached by a flight of stairs or a lift. Some of the rooms on the first floor were at the back of the hotel and these rooms had their own doors with parking in front of their rooms. The parking is free if you are staying at the hotel or just visiting. Our room had two queen sized beds. The room has a fridge and a microwave. The room had a large flat TV, an iron, toiletries and WI-FI (worked well in the room). There was no safe in the room which is very useful if you want to lock up your passports/ I-Pads etc. There was a coffee maker in the room or you could have free coffee in the Reception area. The only problem with the room was that there was only one bedside table between the two beds. There was two small chairs on the outside of the two beds. Really, it would be better to remove the small chairs and replace them with two small bedside tables. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and also has a large indoor heated pool - bring your swim suit!

All staff were excellent. Very helpful and pleasant. Rooms was clean and included a mini fridge and microwave and two queen beds. Breakfast was included. This place is pet friendly. Located just off hwy for ease of access.

Very beautiful and relaxing place to stay...room was amazing....sitting area was nice to sit and unwind before bed...large tv fridge microwave....nicely decorated....friendly staff....we had a problem with trailer and staff offered to fallow us the service station....a wonderful stay....thank you Best Western staff

Without a doubt this is an excellent place to stay....they give the term "Good Corporate Citizens" Creedence. I booked through the Reservation Line....I was talking to someone in the U.S.. As it turns out they hooked me for a month later than they should have,when I got to the Hotel ,the staff saw the error and worked double time to secure us a room as there were limited to none available in town. We were travelling from B.C. to Newfoundland...4 adults and two dogs .,thanks to Mike and the front desk staff we enjoyed an awesome night. The room was spotless.. quiet .,. reasonable ,costwise..plus complimentary breakfast if you're a Rewards Member, which I highly recommend....don't waste your money on other area hotels in my opinion...thanks again

You would think that trying to find a place to stop over for one night in Dryden, Ontario, population of only 8000, you would be hard pressed to find anything decent representing a hotel/motel. Not at the BW Plus. I was truly surprised and impressed with the size of the hotel in general, the cleanliness and the size of my room. Check-in and check-out was done very efficiently and a nice added touch was the to go breakfast they offered as you check out. If travelling across provinces like I did, make sure you plan your stop at the BW Plus in Dryden, Ontario

Service was awesome..front desk staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable . Room service is a plus. I definitely have no complaints about anything... definitely would recommend this hotel !

The rooms were very clean. I loved the decor. The heated pool was a pleasant find and hot tub was wonderful. My husband loved the steam room. The hotel was very quiet even with a kids tournament booked in. Didn't hear them at all.

This trip, they upgraded me for free because they ran out of rooms. Last trip I had my two children with me and I ended up eight eh stomach flu. The staff went above and beyond to help me. Late check-out, offered to accommodate us for another night although they were almost sold out of room. They are wonderful!!!

Nice hotel to stay at if you visit Dryden. Rooms are nice and the service is good as well. They also have a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good option to have your meals here, as there are not too many other places outside, unless you want to eat some fast food.

Stayed for my sons hockey tournament! Great hotel, great amenities! Sadly no continental breakfast option, but there was a great restaurant attached that had great service! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and love having the exterior door when travelling with hockey bags!

Big bight clean lobby. Friendly Staff. Clean modern rooms. Excellent restaurant/bar on site. Would stay again. They have a nice pool area and small work out room. I was surprisingly upgraded upon arrival, so that made my stay extra special. I did hear kids running up and down the hallway, which was a bummer, however not the hotels fault.

Always stay here for business. Love the location and services. I especially enjoy the pool and steam room.The food is good. Favourite is pad thai. Not a fan of the revised menu though.Rooms are a good size and clean. Central location

I am constantly out of town for work. I stay at a lot of hotels across Ontario and always look forward to my stay in Dryden. The front desk staff are always ready to greet you with a smile. The rooms are comfortable and the pool area is excellent for unwinding. Always a great stay.

Stayed here for one night. It was such a nice change. We received a coupon for breakfast in the morning and we're able to order anything from the menu or the buffet. Be sure to ask for one of the rooms at the back so your away from the main hwy.

I would highly Reccommend this hotel if you are staying in the Dryden area! It is the best hotel in Dryden and the convenience of the restaurant/lounge on site is fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and allowed me to check out early as my travel plans had to change due to a storm approaching. This is the only place I will ever stay when visiting Dryden.

The room was comfortable and the heat was easy to adjust. I appreciated that the sink and vanity were outside of the the toilet and tub/shower room. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The hotel does not offer a free breakfast, but they did provide us with free bottled water daily upon request. The sound of people speaking in the hallways (guests checking out) was easily heard in the room and disrupted my sleep in the morning. I would advise wearing earplugs if you are sensitive to sound/noise and do not want to get up early. When we arrived back to the room late on our first night, we found that both our keys did not work. We had a very cold walk (-20 degrees) outside from our hotel room door to reception. The desk staff person was rude and did not apologize for the inconvenience. We told her this had been a problem the last time we stayed at this hotel (we do not have this problem at other hotels). She did not seem to care. I was disappointed by this lack of customer service for a possibly reoccurring problem.

My first trip to Dryden ON and I chose the Best Western b/c of the location and many of the chain hotels (Hilton, Marriott) don't have a property there. For whatever reason the BW was kind and put me in the Trillium Suite )photo) so my experience may not be exactly like yours. My ratings: check-in experience excellent, parking excellent; most or all rooms have one door to the hallway and one door to the parking lot; in-house restaurant available for breakfast and dinner; excellent housekeeping; room clean and comfortable; zero noise inside the hotel or outside. Great value for the money. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

We used the helicopter landing pad which is very convenient. They even had it plowed for us even though we made a last minute reservation. Very much appreciated! The service was extremely friendly and stopping at such a place for the night that is a one stop experience. Nice rooms, lounge, restaurant and the proximity of a major gas station/truck stop is also a convenient bonus.

The hotel is very clean, modern and includes an excellent restaurant. I stayed for 3 nights due to a furnace/water line issue in my home. The staff were amazing! They checked in on me daily to see how my situation was going and offered to hold the room if I needed to stay longer. They made my really bad week that much better. :)

This hotel is my only choice in Dryden. Other than that is the Comfort Inn. Has the best amenities any Dryden hotel have to offer. If not available rather not stop at all. Restaurant breakfast was very good.

This hotel was easy to find on the main highway. It is modern, and the rooms are very clean, spacious, and well equipped. There is an indoor pool. Parking was available close to the room. Would definitely stay again.

overall a very good value as they have everthing you need in one spot, restaurant, lounge, pool and fitness centre complete with a hot tub that is handicap friendly, very easy to find along with a clean atmosphere

We arrived and the staff were very pleasant and greeted us with smiles. We went to the room and everything looked nice until I went into the bathroom to find that the garbage had not been emptied. There was articles with blood on them, hair, and other items in the garbage can. I called the main desk immediately and complained about my findings. They were very courteous and offered to get us another room, but it was after 10:00 pm and we had already got ready for bed. I checked the bed thoroughly to ensure the sheets/bedding had been changed, and we decided to stay in the room for the night anyway...even though I did not feel comfortable. I was informed that the Manager would be informed of what had transpired, but because it was a weekend, the Manager would not be in until Monday, possibly Tuesday as it was the September long weekend. I have waited a month just about for the Manager to contact me with regards to our room, and I have not received any word from him/her at all. I am very disappointed as I feel that the Best Western was the best place to stay in Dryden. We weren't given any discount, or anything to say that they were sorry that this incident occurred. There are other Hotels in Dryden, and I would definitely look at staying in one of them before going to the Best Western again. It wasn't a nice way to spend our 45th Wedding Anniversary!

I absolutely loved the Beet Western Plus in Dryden. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was great!!! Definitely higher quality than I am used to when on the road for business !!!!!

I always have a good stay at Best Western Plus Dryden the check-in is very quick the restaurant is good the parking is good and the staff are very helpful I would stay there again and I would advise people to stay there also.

I had the occasion to stay at this hotel while working in the Dryden area. The rooms were clean and well presented. The restaurant swerved s good variety of pup type food and I found the meals I had were good. I recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

We stopped in to this hotel for a short stay after 15 hours on the road (with another 15 to follow the next day!). We like the location - it isn't too far off the highway and there is a nice Tim's on the way out of town for quick coffee in the morning. From the moment we walked in to the hotel we were greeted like old friends. An enthusiastic welcome at check-in which was fast & efficient. The rooms are in great shape, beds comfy, lots of pillows, new bathroom, great big TV. The restaurant was a real stand-out. Really good food, lots of options, even better service. The staff asked us where we were from, where we were heading, and gave us some good updates on the forest fire situation. Good check-out experience. Nothing to complain about, other than the generally high prices for hotel rooms these days, especially in the summer.

As a pilot bringing people to Dryden for an annual fishing trip, I've stayed at all the major hotels in Dryden over the years and I'll have to say I'm most impressed with the Best Western. Rooms are comfortable and clean. But what really shines is the staff, well, the majority of them. I must say one employee really stood out during my stay for 3 nights this past week, Chelsea. I stay in hotels weekly and I've never experienced a more helpful and nice front desk person. I needed to make arraignments to stay another night when the hotel was booked... Chelsea took to EXTRA time to look for cancellations and help me when one came available. And on top of that she worked it out so I could stay in my same room. She did all this with a smile, it was apparent that she really cares about customers. Whatever she's getting paid it's not enough!!! Hope to stay there again my next trip!

A must stay to believe it! We stayed here on our way to Winnipeg in the Emperor Suite. It was beautiful, modern and the hospitality was above and beyond. The suite had two bathrooms, living room, dining room and even a double sided fireplace. It was bigger than my condo in Toronto! The huge shower with multiple shower heads was perfect and the stand alone tub was even better!

Spent one night there on our way back to Toronto from Calgary. Found the hotel very clean and comfortable.The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Found the front desk staff to be very informative. Would stay there again.

From the front desk to the restaurant, our stay again was top notch! Clean rooms, courteous staff, and the food is always delicious. Our 13 year old daughter loves the chicken strips, and when we came back into town later in the week for supplies, I called in an order for her! We do plan to return next year for our annual fishing trip, and The Best Western Plus will be the first hotel reservation I make for 2019.

Great food , nice lounge , the swimming pool & hottub are always refreshing and well maintained ... rooms are also very well taken care of and staff are attentive and professional - what more can you ask for !!

Quiet room, comfortable beds. Pool and hot tub were great. It was open until 11pm so our late arrival allowed the kids a chance to swim. Check was fast and we were offered grab and go snacks which were perfect for our long road trip.

I really enjoy staying at the Best Western in Dryden. The staff is very accommodating and the rooms are very clean. I am close to everything I need here. I have 2 choices for meals, restaurant or lounge if I am to tired after working to leave hotel.

Nice hotel, nice room, nice beds, nice staff, very nice breakfast (included) but the nicest yet- the POOL, hot tub and steam sauna combination! It was just renovated and the water felt so fresh and clean. We all loved it so much that we woke up early to use the pool one more time just before check out. Highly recommend this hotel to any traveller.

This is my favorite place to stay when travelling for business in the area. The hotel staff is friendly & helpful, parking is ample (and free), there is a restaurant and lounge on site. The rooms are clean and comfortable, everything you would expect from Best Western. Tip: if you are a CAA member you not only get a great room rate, there are also other perks (this trip I got free breakfast everyday!).

I regularly stay at BW hotels on trips for business and leisure. I've always found the rooms clean and comfortable. The service has always been great. I've never had any issue with BW hotel's and have stayed in multiple across Canada. I would highly recommend staying at any of them. They have consistent quality and an affordable price.

I have stayed at this location many times and I have never been dissapointed. Nice and clean hotel and the resturante is top notch. Very helpful staff rooms are nice and the bed is comfertable I will stay at this location the next time I visit Dryden for work

This hotel has very nice rooms.The bed is comfortable, good climate control, and the rooms have a mini-fridge. The best thing though is the walls must be well insulated because I could not hear anything from my adjoining rooms - and I was here a week. Not a cough, toilet flushing, drawer slamming or voices. I had great nights sleep! The restaurant attached to this hotel as great food as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Other than no hot tub availability it was a wonderful stay. Restaurant was amazing - staff and food were wonderful! I would absolutely reccomment this hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Always a good stay at Dryden Best Western. Easy to register, located in a good stop. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Restaurant and staff are good. Checkout is easy and fast. All in all i always have a good stay here.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We are over-the-road truck drivers and absolutely loved the king sized super comfortable bed. It totally revitalized and made our trip much more pleasant. Also very pleased to utilize their trucker discount. The fact that the hotel is directly beside a truck stop was the deciding factor when choosing a motel room for the night. VERY pleased that we chose Best Western

This is a wonderful place to stay if you're travelling through the summer! It has a restaurant with awesome chicken fingers for the kids, and pool for burning off the post-car ride energy, plus a hot tub and steam room for Mom and Dad to relax! Wonderful staff, with smiles on their faces at check in/out!

This is a lovely hotel with great staff and service. I would highly recommend for anyone travelling to or through Dryden. All amenities are clean and up tondate. The restaurant and bar all also great additions.

Unfortunately we booked at the same time there was a huge Minor Hockey Tournament being held in Dryden. I would say it was exceptionally noisy but that would be an understatement. Until around 9:30 PM the kids were allowed to run completely amok and rarely could you find an adult. Not the Hotel's fault but terrible parenting. It made our stay less enjoyable then it should have been. Remarkably it seemed to be exactly the same Government Rate room I had just under two years previously, unless there is another bathroom with exactly the same cracks in the tub area. Once again it appears that requesting Government Rates means you get a lower quality room...there is a pattern not just with this Hotel chain.

First hotel I ever stayed in where they hand you a sheet of hotel rules when you register. Was never greeted with a hello or smile by any of the staff the entire weekend .There was a fellow in a flouresant construction vest patrolling the halls at all times directing people to"Go to their room if they stopped to have a conversation. I had dinner in the restaurant. Ordered the prime rib which was the special of the evening. It took 45 minutes to get my food and it was cold when I got it. The hostess /manager (not sure who she was) offered me a $25.00 certificate for breakfast. I explained to her 3 times I wouldn't be there for breakfast. Got up in the A.M. and there was a $25.00 certificate for breakfast. So rather than waste it I went down and put it on a patrons table that was having breakfast and checked out. Would never intentionally stay here again.

My room was updated and very clean. Loved the pool and steam room. It was busy but clean as well. Food was also great in the restaurant. Had the Pad Thai. Centrally located in Dryden on the Transcanada highway.

had a nice clean room and had several meals which were all quite good. meeting rooms were nice and the staff was very accomodating. over all , a pleasant place for a convention with good service and friendliness.

We cannot say enough about the Managment Team, the staff & the ownership of this property. The staff were most welcoming on our check in & even though we were later than anticipated they made the room service available. We have a service animal & they were most complimentary of our Bentley. The room was excellent, the food was great & the hospitality outstanding. This property in a very small town rivals any property in a much larger city.

We enjoy the Best Western Experience. After a busy day of travelling to Dryden and purchasing our new truck, this hotel is a one stop place - restaurant on site, pool, hot tub and sauna as well as the most comfortable bedroom. As we are a seasoned couple, we enjoy a couch in our room to relax. The queen size bed was very welcoming at bedtime. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. Another plus point are the points that we accumulate to allow us to a free nights lodging.

I stayed here one night travelling through town. The rooms are dated, as is the hotel itself. Somewhat sketchy patrons hanging around the parking lot. Staff was super friendly. I think if I had to stay in Dryden again I would try the Holiday Inn just down the street. This hotel is also a bit noisy with the truck stop next door.

The parking in the front was filled with cars that were parked raking up multiple spots. The food was sub par. The staff was great. The room and building very clean. My sleep was disturbed every hour by the noisy room heater.

It would have been great to have been told when booking that there was a hockey team or two staying at the hotel and the noise may be at times very loud. It was not just kids making noise it was the parents too which does not set a very good example for their children.

Overall experience was good. There were centipedes in bathroom. Kinda old decor in rooms. I think the price is too expensive, why they charge so much I don't know. I did get a deal because I was there to see a theatre performance. But I found its was expensive .

The staff, the room,the food and the amenities were all great. Highly recommend staying here and I will again. I was here for work purposes and had a 2 day workshop that was catered by the restaurant. Both days the food was amazing.

Always a clean room and comfortable bed. The staff goes out of their way to ensure you are looked after. I find the rooms very open and relaxing. We ate in the restaurant and had the prime roast beef which was done to perfection and HUGE Yorkshire pudding to complement the meal.

Great place to stay in Dryden. Clean, comfortable rooms with a great staff in the restaurant and lounge. The hotel is located in the center of Dryden. This is the only hotel in Dryden that has a great restaurant, lounge and conference center all in house.

A little over priced for the accommodations and disappointing that breakfast was not included. We were offered a 20% discount at the attached restaurant for breakfast. The bed was a little soft for my liking.

The check-in was easy, and being a member of the Wyndham Rewards program lowered the price of our stay. The room was very clean and large. Loved the idea of the sink area being separate from the toilet & bath tub/shower. The only think I could suggest is that they get a better quality of bathroom amenities.

I've stayed in many Best a Western Hotels in Canada and this one is one of my favourites. It's clean, comfortable, competitive, and, there's a restaurant on site. You'll find a nice selection of menu items all day long, and, if you book with your CAA card can receive a great “made to order” breakfast in the restaurant... DEFINITELY the best hotel value in Dryden ON.

Spend a week here and the room was recently renovated. The property and staff were outstanding, the hotel restaurant was very good. I liked everything about the hotel. Usually, I complain about something - the bed, the AC, the bathroom, something, but this room was brand new and everything was in very good order.

I always stay here when I have work in the region. The rooms are comfortable and all of the staff are welcoming and accommodating. On this trip the restaurant was under renovations so only the bar was accessible for meals. The full menu was available but the place was full at dinnertime sometimes it was hard to find a seat.

This is a good hotel though rooms are a little dated. Restaurant has been remodelled and looks good. We did not have dinner there but did have a very good breakfast there. This BW does not offer free breakfast but does offer a 20% discount in the restaurant. Ads I said the rooms are a little tired but the beds are very comfortable. Staff are very helpful. We would recommend this hotel and will stay here again on passing through Dryden.

I have to give this hotel a 5 Star rating because they up-graded us to a lovely suite. It was much too big for the two of us but we did enjoy the luxurious accommodations. On the way back from vacation, we wren't up-graded but the room was still very nice and spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The major of the BW chain's Plus and Premier is the superior hot breakfast for quality and enjoyment. This Dryden Plus unfortunately decided to get rid of this and charge extra for its breakfast. Coincidentally it's shower switch did not work and made the stay doubly unsatisfactory. Too bad.

We had a comfortable stay....clean and comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The best part of chains like Best Western is you know what to expect and you get that.

Clean, Great Food, Great beds, Pool, Hot tub, on the highway, good internet, quiet and peaceful. great water pressure for the shower. Great Elite program. My only choice in this town. If it is full I drive right on through and push on for home.

They could not get my corporate rate for my stay, and did not give any consideration for my diamond elite membership. The staff was lousy and useless. After driving 12 hrs all I wanted was to be treated like a valued customer and received horrible service. Every other BW I've stayed with has been awesome until I stayed with the Dryden branch. Never again.

This stay was on our way back home and coming through Dryden. After spending a sleepless night in another hotel in town on our way out, I had booked this last room available at 4am! It was a double sized bed but that's ok; we fit on this at home. Our friend stayed at the other hotel again. Staff very friendly at check-in (as usual). We loved using the pool and hot tub. Our friend could even visit us at the Best Western and come swimming with us. Ordered pizza at B&B restaurant and took it back to our room with us after swimming. Very yummy. Clean rooms. Comfy bed. I appreciated the laminated list of channels for the tv, as we don't really watch at home so we are tv-challenged lol The double-bed room was just like the king room we had in Tbay but on a smaller scale. I really like that our sensitivities do not get riled up at any Best Western. The air conditioner was awesome and we used the fan just to keep air moving. Quiet sleep even though we were beside the pop machine. At checkout the front desk staff was again friendly. They gave us a bagged breakfast which was nice to take on the road. We also got a 15% discount on breakfast in the restaurant. Thanks. Only con was the price is quite high.

I have stayed here before and once again I am very happy with the service I got. Nice staff and a very clean hotel. Resturant is very good only thing that could use some adjusting is the price. Starting to get up there in price considering I was there on a Wednesday other hotels were a bit less but I know what Iam getting with Best Western well done again and next time out that way I will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and we were happy that it was a pet-friendly hotel. There was a pool, but we were sooo tired from our drive, we did not make use of the pool. They had a nice breakfast included. We would recommend this hotel to travelers.

For being a BW Plus this was a very disappointing accomodation. The carpets were not clean and the room had a bad smell to it. Overall the whole place appeared dingy and dark. We had booked this through Air Miles so we expected better.

Why is that many hotels including this one stick people who book through hotels.com in the scuzziest rooms they have. We just checked in an hour an ago and are in a room that is likely one of the smallest we have ever had. Back to a double bed for the first time in about 40 plus years.

The fridge was so noisy that we had to unplug it. The wind was blowing and the wind noise thru the door whistled so that was really annoying. The bed had a sag in the middle which was not really any fun as we both kept cramming up against each other.

enjoy staying in this hotel with my family. we are treated respectfully. the house keepers are always accommodating to our needs. prices go too high though, especially during busy times. we usually end up with one bed and the pull out bed.

This hotel has had my business many times through the years. I travel to Dryden to go on a fishing trip annually. I stay either at the Holiday Inn express or the best western. I liked the fact that they offered 20% off for using the restaurant for breakfast.

Stayed at the Dryden Best Western on a trip to Dryden to attend a weekend quilting presentation with a friend, while our husbands checked out local fishing holes. Our room was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the onsite restaurant, where we ate supper one evening, as well as breakfast both mornings. Note that breakfast was discounted because we were staying at the hotel. Tasty food at all meals. I had a reward to apply to our hotel stay, and there was some confusion even though I'd called the chain headquarters ahead of time to ask how to redeem it. Hotel staff handled the situation pleasantly and effectively, and did not treat it as an inconvenience. I'd stay here again if I found myself in Dryden again.

Bed is comfortable, had an elevator which is helpful for hauling luggage. Nice restaurant on site for a quick night stopover with late night arrival and early morning departure. Room was clean and roomy. We like a queen with a sofa to relax, rather than sitting on the bed(s).

We stayed here and in essence everything was ok. It was reasonably clean and comfortable. I must have missed something when choosing this hotel but just keep in mind that there is no breakfast. We were caught off guard however I assumed I missed something. At any rate, it's not a bad choice but for a one night stay it certainly did not live up to the "Plus" in it's name.

they went out of their way to find another night stay in the next twin we were going. the rooms were good and clean. Helpful at the desk courteous. called to check back with us to see if any thing we could use.

Somehow, this place is rated well compared to other options in Dryden... but that's because there really aren't many options in Dryden. First, they don't offer any sort of complimentary breakfast (both the Comfort Inn and the Holiday Inn Express advertise “full” hot breakfasts). Second thing is that their restaurant is awful - tasteless food and horrendous service (over 2 hours for a hamburger... did they have to chase down and kill the cow first or what?). Finally, many of their first-floor rooms are outside entrance (meaning, you're 3 feet from the trunk of your car). Some people may like that, but we don't and asked to be switched. We were told “sorry, we're full.” C'mon... the parking lot was mostly empty at 9:30 p.m. and many of the 2nd-floor rooms were dark. I don't believe that they were full. They just didn't want to switch our room. If you're looking for a place to stay between Winnipeg and Thunder Bay, I'd recommend looking seriously at places in Kenora. There are slightly more dining options there, too.

It is always a pleasure going to this location. Very clean, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the dining is excellent. Rooms are kept very clean and in excellent state of repair.

Large room. Very clean room. Toilet, linens very clean. Fantastic décor. Professional and friendly front desk staff. Hotel upgrade my standard room to Governors Suite. The room, the décor and furniture were fantastic. Hotel located beside the highway but far enough to provide quiet rooms. I had to meet clients in the morning of August 14th. I requested late check out when I checked-in online. I guess that is why the hotel put me in a suite where there is suitable furniture to meet with client.

I never been to a motel that the staff were as friendly and helpful as here. The rooms are great. I was extremely tired and got a wonderful sleep here, beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again. I look forward to it on my next travel.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good and in-spite of the fact that no-one there knows how to make a proper martini I was pleased with the prime rib of beef and our Canadian server was a joy, a pleasure and fun to work with. Our double room was clean, reasonably priced and the hotel accepted and discounted the room rate for AAA members. A free express/bagged breakfast is included for free and a 10%-20% discount for guests was provided by the hotel for breakfast in the restaurant and breakfast was great!

We had a quick stop over in Dryden. The front desk staff was very nice upon check in. There was a wedding going on and our room was on the first floor and it was pretty noisy. I would imagine that only the rooms on the first floor near the front were affected. The room was clean and beds were fine. Our favourite part was the breakfast in the morning. The waiter was friendly and accommodating and the food was very good.

The hotel was very nice. We were driving across Canada on our way home to Victoria BC and due to a fatality on the highway, we had to take a 3.5 hour detour to get to the hotel. We arrived at 11:30 pm very exhausted and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommend this hotel.

If you travel often, you come to expect certain quality standards from hotels, especially from the mega chains. This Best Western was as we expected - clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff and plenty of services available on set. We didn't anticipate the size of this place when we booked and did end up walking to the end of the building on the second floor to get to room. However, if accessibility is not an issue for you then it won't be a problem. If you do have accessibility issues, you may want to contact the hotel to ask for a room on the first floor or one closest to the elevators. Otherwise, a great hotel, right off the highway and in a prime location for anything that you will need while travelling though Dryden.

Four guys headed out for Canada for a week of fishing. We booked our stay just hoping for a decent room for the night, but our stay was great! The staff was friendly, the food was great at the restaurant, and the rooms were clean and neat. There was plenty of parking for my vehicle and boat, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. I will be booking my room for next year's trip!

This was a great hotel - wait times are a little long in the restaurant. The staff was friendly and my reservation was waiting for me. There is a lounge to grab a night cap - the pool is amazing, hot tub nice and hot and the steam room is to die for.

Motel is clean and neat, rooms are very nice and appear to have been recently updated or newly built. In any case the problem here was the restaurant. Waited for 30 minutes for a burger and order of fish and chips which were awful. Burger was tasteless and fish was a frozen nightmare. My recommendation would be to stay here but eat at your on risk.

My friend and I stayed for a night passing through Dryden and the front desk staff was lovely! They were very friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel was much larger than I expected and very well decorated.

My stay at the Best Western Plus in Dryden was great! Check in was quick and the front desk staff were very helpful with suggesting places to eat and things to see while I was there for the night. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Great bathroom as well! Fridge and microwave in the room was very handy. I'd definitely stay again! The perfect place to stop on your cross-Canada drive - super convenient location right on the Trans-Canada in the centre of all of Dryden's amenities.

This hotel is completely renovated & was very clean & quiet. Bed was GREAT!! Had a very restful night! Restaurant leaves a lot to be desired! If you decide to eat there, make sure they have kitchen staff!! The servers were very polite but the kitchen help was VERRRRRYYYYYY SLOOOOOWWWWW :(

Stayed 2 separate times on my family road trip, once on the way out west and once on the way back. Love the fact that they have drive up rooms which makes it easier bringing stuff in and out. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which has awesome food! The boys swam in the pool and they had lots of fun. Will always stay here when ever I am in Dryden.

Pretty much the only choice for a business stay while in Dryden. There are all the amenities of city life within walking distance. everything in town id a few dollars away by taxi. As previously mentioned you can walk to pretty much anything you need right from your room.

Best Western Plus has good amenities and is centrally located in Dryden. Staff is friendly and Restaurant is reasonably priced with excellent choices and portion sizes. Internet is seamless and TV viewing choices are extensive. Did ot try the pool but looks excellent.

Staff were kind and helpful. All of our needs were taken care of. We have already switched some future reservations on our trip to Best Western Plus. They went above and beyond to make our family welcome and comfortable.

We went to Ottawa for Canada day, from MB. Being that most times we stay at BW because of the cleanliness and friendly staff, pool and allows dogs. We found the beds not the greatest and had sore back. I would recommend this hotel and stay again

Clean rooms but the food lacks care poorly prepared and a over done $40 steak. When I told the waitress she didnt care and moved on with her duties. Another day I ordered a French onion soup and it came to the table luke warm and the cheese was not melted. on another occurance the server dropped off my food and never returned not even to deliver the bill.

Overall appearance of the building is great. I like when there is more than one way to access ground level rooms. Washroom sizes are very roomy. The food at the restaurant are great, including the breakfast. Overall experience is very pleasant and I would stay there again when given the chance.

Clean, Comfortable rooms, great beds,tv, lots of room for parking if your pulling a trailer. Awesome Steam room on a cold winter night or any night. Nice bar/lounge, good food, friendly employees. I travel through Dryden regular & it's the only place I'd stay.

Distinctly better than the average chain motel, but similar price. Complimentary breakfast was a real breakfast, not a fight over pre-cooked buffet, and the overall hotel experience was better than average

On a Business assignment for my Church, I travel regularly around the North Western part of Ontario, and a great night sleep goes a long way toward my effectiveness in my calling. I would recommend Best Western anytime.

Nice but older BW. No breakfast included. Just a grab and go bag. Know the rate you are quoted and check your bill. My hubby paid the bill and discovered later that it was wrong. The desk reception did correct it willingly when error was pointed out.

This hotel is one of the best I've stayed in. Exceptional service. Just have breakfast somewhere else. The pool was small but at least they had one. The hotel is new and very clean everywhere. I really enjoyed my stay!

We stayed one night. Check in was busy but still quick and the staff were very friendly and courteous. The type of room we reserved was what we got upon arrival. A late lunch was had in the B&B restaurant; pleasant server and good food. Room was clean with a good temperature. A nice feature is the sink separate from the toilet which is helpful when more than one person staying in the room. Nice clean tub and decent shower head pressure. Big closet. The bed was a bit soft for me but my roomie found it very nice. I really liked the long roll pillow, great for lounging on! The swimming pool was really nice to have with the kids. It was clean and a good temp. Hot tub and steam room fun too. All around good stay, will go back there for sure.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel was to stay at! Staff were so friendly and welcoming!! Our room was at the correct temp when we walked in and very comfortable. Had dinner here as well and the food and service was fantastic. Noticed the pool and hot tub looked very inviting but too tired to use. Will definitely try out on next stay! Will always return to this hotel when driving thru!!

This is my first time staying here. First of all, there is enough area for parking. I was traveling with a long trailer, so I needed ample parking. Once I checked in I was given a room close by to where I parked my vehicle. There is access from the outside as well as from the inside to the room. So if you forget something in the vehicle you don't have to walk a mile to get to your car. The room is pretty large in size and comfortable. Very clean and tidy. The location is very quiet too. The bathroom was very clean as well. only negative I have is that they don't offer free breakfast like all the other hotels do. I would definitely recommend.

For a chain hotel, this was a nice, clean comfortable room. The breakfast was plentiful and every employee we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The fitness center was pretty minimal, but that's our only complaint.

Enjoyed the short stay, wish we would of had more time to use the pool and have breakfast but running late on getting home so we had to push on. Recommend this hotel no matter your length of stay. People were friendly and staff was helpful but the price was a little much $$$ but we needed a place to stop.

I had a very comfortable stay during my business trip to Best western. I was Leary at first as it looked older from the outside, but the room I stayed was newly Reno'd. The restaurant was super busy as it was playoffs and 2 conventions were taking place. They warned me of the time to get my food, and it was worth the wait. The chicken dinner was awesome, I also had the apple crisp for dessert which was mediocre. But not a deal breaker. Tastefully decorated and comfortable rooms and beds! With the perfect room temperature as well...sometimes you get to the he room and the cleaning staff have the air on but this was not the case. The whole experience was very Welcoming.

The best Western in Dryden is very clean on the exterior and the interior all staff are friendly, I always stay at a best western because of the quality the hotel chains bring as well as the friendly staff.

We stayed there the weekend before last!... EXCELLENT accommodations, great service and loved the rooms and beds. Great location, they offered a hockey buffet. Food was excellent!..next time in town would no doubt stay!
