We were more than pleasantly surprised at our hotel stay in Dayton. The room was clean, swimming pool was nice for the children. Breakfast was good and the dining room was a pleasant space to eat in.
This BW+ is the nicest we've been, and we car travel a lot. From the get-go, the registration clerk was helpful and kind and friendly, explained near-be restaurants, we decided on delivery since we were tired and she knew exactly who to call. Room was waaaay cleaner than usual, the grounds are beautiful, the little historic town of Dayton WA is adorable, lots of restaurants, shops, beautiful.
A nice hotel for such a small town! Bedding and bathroom towels were good. They need to up their game on Shampoo and Conditioner. Nice lobby and friendly greeting! I only partook of some juice and a roll for breakfast but everyone in the breakfast area seemed happy! I definitely would stay here again!
This is a great hotel. Elizabeth at the front desk is awesome, great breakfast and good location. We were in Dayton to work on an estate and this was a good place to come back to each night.
Every time we've stayed here the staff is very welcoming and nice. The place is very clean and the breakfast is great with many choices.
We had to switch rooms as first room had brown stain on the comforter. Second room the bathroom was dirty. Sticky residue on counter, dirt on edge of backsplash and tub had film in it. Front desk person nice and apologized for the comforter. Breakfast offered was mediocre at best.
One of the nicer and cleaner Best Western Plus properties. Always a pleasure to stay here. The price is a little steep considering the locale. I wish there was more to do in Dayton. There used to be, but now it's a dying little town, which is sad.
Lovely modern hotel. Warm and spacious lobby and public area with fireplace and decor reflecting local farming community and history. Excellent customer service and breakfast. The nicest Best Western we've stayed in.
I've been staying at the Best Western Dayton WA location since it opened around 10 years ago. The room costs have been going up slightly over the years like many other Hotels I stay at. This past year they have skyrocketed to over 100.00 extra per night from last year and the services have not changed 1 bit. 220.00 for the room per night is out of control. My friends and I will now drive the extra 30 minutes to Walla Walla for our Hotel stays, less money and the same amenities.
Poor check in and check out. Booked direct with hotel and found I pay much more than was available from booking sites, I felt the room was overpriced. While the room was clean, the bed was uncomfortable and too bouncy, so any time I or my wife moved it woke the other up. We both woke tired and sore. The bathroom had a bare minimum of towels and tiny amenities, and the hard water crusty shower head made the shower under perform. The indoor pool was cold and the spa a disappointing lukewarm temp. Breakfast was ok. Had to hunt for plates and utensils that were oddly in different locations. The breakfast was no banquet but had adequate fare.
It was so fun to stay here as it was sort of a very mini vacation. Used the pool and had a wonderful time. Breakfast was awesome. This hotel is very nice place to stay. I was surprised to see such ah nice hotel this far out away from larger towns, it was so great.
the bestwestern in dayton washington is our favorite bestwestern (we've stayed at many throughout the u.s.) the area is absolutely beautiful and the hotel is great. the hotel is located within a very easy walking distance of the downtown area.
We were a group of 5 motorcyclists. The hotel was very new, clean and comfortable. We needed that after riding in 105 degree heat. The rooms, lobby, and breakfast were excellent. The service was great. We didn't use the indoor pool but it looked terrific. Good for business travelers or family.
I constantly stay at hotels for my current 100% travel job. This hotel in four years is the first to charge me for a additional night after checkout. Very pleased by the cleaning of the rooms and the breakfast.
The breakfast, pool area, and hot tub were excellent. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel was very quiet. The front desk staff were helpful and courteous. The only fault, if any, would be the consistent strength of the Internet Wi-Fi.
Dayton is a tiny town in an agricultural area with an excellent Best Western. No fast food and limited eateries on a less than vibrant Main street. But the BW is worthy of the "Plus" label. One of our finer BW stays....
I met a friend half-way in Dayton, WA for a one night stay in this hotel so that we could plan for an upcoming retreat. The room was ready for us when we arrived early, it was impeccably clean. The staff had great recommendations for dining. On the day of departure they offered us a table in the lobby to connect to the internet and finish our meeting (well past our check out time). It was a very awesome experience and I would choose this hotel even though the price was more than others in the area.
The staff is very friendly and helpful! I stayed for three days and had great service. If you are planning to do Bluewood for a few days I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms are nice and updated. They serve a breakfast bar in the morning which is great for fueling up before you hit the slopes. The hotel is walking distance to downtown Dayton and restaurants in close proximity. I highly recommend !
This is a hotel that lives up to it's name as a PLUS. The rooms come in a variety of sizes with all the amenities you would want. The pool was clean and the hot tub was hot. Desk staff are welcoming and the cleaning folks are friendly. I've stayed here multiple times and recommend it warmly.
I was happy with the prompt checkin after a long drive was nice to get in my room quickly.Gal at the desk was quite informative told me everything I needed to know including exactly where my room was an what time breakfast was plus internet access code.I checked in with all questions answered before I could ask them myself
Wonderful place to stay on our road trip through Washington. The room was clean and quiet, bed was super comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the short walk to the quaint downtown for dinner.
Clean room. Great front desk help. Outside temperature was 108. We were on motorcycles. We were looking forward to getting into the pool. The pool was closed!!! We were most upset the pool was closed. There was a maintenance failure.
The employees were awesome. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was not working (in AUGUST!) the guest laundry facilities were not working and even after two reminders they did not refill the Poopy Pouches in the dog area. Despite the problems we would stay there again.
Great customer service and nice hotel. There was room for truck parking. The staff gave wonderful suggestions for places to eat. They looked up my hotel points for me. The room was comfortable and quiet.
Was in town for a funeral. Definately would not recommend this hotel. Seemed to be some shady stuff going on. Garbage over flowing outside for the 2 days we were there. Outdoor pool is not in use and covered . Rooms not ready at the check-in times. Room was very unsanitary. Used condoms in the stairwell, and furniture covered in body fluids. I felt as if we were staying in a brothel. Vents were covered with plywood , snack machine empty.
Dayton was the place we wanted to stop on our trip, for no other reason was it would be enough traveling for the day. There was not much selection there, but after reading reviews of other places decided that spending a few extra bucks was worth it - and it was! Our room was so clean and comfortable, breakfast was really nice, able to do a load of wash, and the lobby was large if you needed room to hang out. We wished we were staying there another day!
please ref my EMail 6/20: I see that you are minimizing my review/comments during our stay. We went to the breakfast at 6:20AM not at closing time. Already there were empty hot dishes and others were commenting and asking the attendant. Eggs were replaced only, not others. You ignored my comments on the badly worn carpeting. With the hallway dark (no lighting) tripping and being run over by the staff/carts was common. The staff comments were, no lights available, etc I see you are not offering any compensation to us? Henry
The Hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are clean and the staff are all professional and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Great place to stay in this little town. I will Definitely stay here again when I'm in town.
Clean and well kept property. Amazing nice decor. Friendly staff and town. Good landscaping. We are big fans of best western. Close to our family in starbuck. Will stay again soon. Loved it. Good breakfast
Very polite staff, quite and clean. Beautiful town. Nice local restaurants. My family and I drove to Palouse state park and also Steptoe Butte state park. Beautiful scenic spots for the family. Perfect location of the hotel.
I'm a gold member in the BW rewards, and this was a disappointing experience. The attention to details and the lack of maintenance in the hotel was obvious. This place has gone down hill since they first opened a couple of years ago.
This hotel was the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed at. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms so spacious and well kept and the staff are very caring to ensure your trip is memorable. The value for what you receive is excellent.
The sweet little town of Dayton Washington sports a great hotel in BW. Affordable and so clean and comfortable. The breakfast was diffeent both days we ate there. Good selection of food and great coffee. I will return for sure.
Its a simple hotel, but well kept. Clean and in a nice little town with good places to visit. Its tough to find places that allow pets and are affordable. This is a great option to fit all our needs. The staff was helpful and kind as well.
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Very hard working gal was running the front desk, breakfast and cleaning rooms all with a cheery attitude. Large room with a Comfy bed. Has a great breakfast in the morning with egg and sausage and the chocolate chip muffins were the bomb!!
Hotel offered very nice clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom facilities were excellent. Had a wonderful comfortable easy chair with ottoman in room. The breakfast was delicious and we had to leave very early one morning; but the Clerk made certain that there was some food out that we could take with us.
To be honest, if I had more income, it would probably change my rating because I wouldn't expect as much as I do for the price that I paid (not just this stay, but basically any hospitality business charges ridiculous amounts in my opinion), but for me personally, to spend over 100.00 to sleep in a bed that's been slept in by who knows how many ppl, in a room that who knows how many ppl have been in before me, & not even have the opportunity to take advantage of the amenities to at least feel like the 10 hrs I have to work at my job to make that amount of money is worth it for me... I think you would just have to experience a stay for yourself/& make up your own opinion or review as to if you get your money's worth & if you have a valuable experience then great & if you don't then my or anyone elses review isn't going to change that, & if anyone else out there is like me...it kinda sucks when you have such high hopes or expectations & then they aren't met & things don't necessarily live up to the hype & then the let down disappointment is a bit more drastic...so all in all my advice would be to weigh out & make your own decisions or judgement calls because you can't really rely on anyone else's narrative to tell your story. I will say though, that due to the market competition & whatnot & the fact the town is limited in choices (supply & demand I guess+inflation) it was the less expensive & more modern choice of places to stay, but I haven't been exposed to life of luxury or the funding to alter my point of view just yet. I'd stay again if they're the best (or the only I suppose) option I have
We had a great room with plenty of space for 4 women to spread out with ski gear etc. and our sitting area was a plus! We had a nice soak in the hot tub, a good nights rest, and breakfast was really nice with so many choices from yogurt and cereal to bacon and eggs.
Previous experience was AWESOME but last one was below expectations. Satellite TV provider (unknown) wasn't working. All we were able to access were local stations. Front desk indicated they were aware of the problem and couldn't assist us; attempts of previous requests to the service provider had been unanswered. We should've received some compensation due to the price of the room but none was offered.
For what you get it's not worth spending the money. These rooms way overpriced for this size if town. Make sure before you go that all the amenities are there. No pool, no hot tub, shortened breakfast. Just plan was not worth $370 for 2 nights
Nice CLEAN hotel, rooms nicely done, lobby very clean, breakfast area well kept. Breakfast was great! Lots of items to choose from, there was something there for everyone. Pool area closed due to Covid rules.
best and most comfortable stay in any motel in many years rooms are bright, and well furnished. The bed was the most comfortable of any motel bed we have ever experienced The staff made you feel at home The breakfast was much more than we expected with sausage and eggs with gravy great coffee and muffins
This was a lovely hotel that accommodated a very large group of people seamlessly and effortlessly. Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. It's even pet friendly! I highly recommend it! It's close to a ski area and gorgeous wedding venue too.
I was really impressed by this hotel stay. The spacious room was nicely furnished, comfortable mattress, pillows, and linens. Nice bathroom tile and vanity. Super clean and quiet! The staff were all very professional and pleasant. The only negative was the Covid-era breakfast offerings, but the breakfast area was well attended and kept clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Dayton is my home town. It is a quiet, scenic, wide-open place with friendly people. A recent event brought our family together. We needed this hotel for “overflow “ lodging. The hotel and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The property and people reflect the feel of this place: calm, friendly, comfortable. Even with some covid restrictions in place, the morning breakfast was really nice, served in an open, inviting dining area. There was a hot entree and home-baked muffins. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. We booked on fairly short notice during a very busy weekend. Not enough rooms were available immediately, but the desk agent made a note to call us in the event of a cancellation. Which they did. This place exceeded our expectations. Very relaxed, comfortable stay.
I have stayed here several times, always clean and accommodating. It's great to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Location is good for walking Main street. The A/C works. Parking seems safe. The pool is closed now due to COVID.
Passing through a small town new to us, we were pleased to find a spacious room in what seemed to be a newer building. The bed, linens, and pillows were comfortable. The A/C unit was not too disruptive to a good night's sleep. A few other guests were in the hotel but we heard no noise other than a couple of cars in the parking lot. My only suggestion would be it offer a few microwaveable food items, as there was almost nothing to choose from on the small Main Street at 8 pm.
Very friendly people at the front desk. Willing to go out of their way to help you. The motel was very taken care of very clean. Good amenities. They Have a barbecue out on The patio to use and it is very clean.
Outstanding service, very clean and continental breakfast. If you are playing in the snow at Bluewood, they have a ski storage room. Not more than a half hour from a fun day at Bluewood Ski area. The pool area looked very inviting, but is closed due to covid. Hopefully will get to use that on a future stay.
It's one of the only hotels in town, but it's great. Friendly staff, clean modern rooms, good amenities. They are doing a great job working within the COVID restrictions, which can be difficult. Here are more words to hit the minimum 200 characters.
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Stayed here for two nights. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot in room. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked. I was going to stay 3 nights and they let me cancel the last night no problem.
Beautiful and comfortable room The facility was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and will always choose this facility when coming to stay in Dayton. Thank you!
Everyone is always friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was appreciated but was not as good as usual mostly due to vivid restrictions I think. Our coffee maker did not work in our room but everything else was great. I stay here everytime I visit my son. About 8 times now
We really enjoy this Best Western in Dayton. It is close to everything, clean and friendly. I would recommend. It is nice and quiet and we got a good night's sleep. Our room looked out over a rolling wheat field.
I love the quiet of this hotel. Even though it was full almost to capacity I did not hear anything all night. The surrounding country is so appealing and beautiful that I am always drawn to this place.
Dayton is a great place to base from for killer day rides around the area. You got Ponderosa pine forest to the south towards the ski area and rolling hills of grain in every direction,Skae River and Paulose Falis all in range...And sunshine.
Excellent! We love staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is great, the pool is fun for the kids. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel is well-kept and cared for. Great location right on Main Street.
This comfort oasis was unexpected in such a small town. The staff could not have been more helpful. My room was large and beautifully decorated. I was very comfortable and will definitely stay here again if my travels bring me this way.
I've really enjoyed my stay in Dayton, WA. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and neat and the staff maintain it meticulously. After the a cold snap with snow, the parking lot was plowed and the walk ways shoveled immediately. The breakfast buffet was very good and the attendant very cheerful and friendly. Nothing negative to say about the place, great (2) week stay.
We were visiting family living just outside Dayton this holiday and there wasn't room for all family members to stay in their home so we were looking for an alternative. We have stayed in some of the other motels in Dayton, and even rented a house for the week one time, but we found the Best Western Dayton to to be the perfect base of operations for us. The rooms are spacious, beds very comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful and accommodating. And the in town location meant that we could walk to anywhere in town, had a secure place to park and leave our vehicle and the drive out of town to our relatives place was just minutes away. We will definitely be staying here again!
Clean and up to date. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice pool area. Great snack bar for the kids to buy some treats from. Great selection for the breakfast. Not a bad price for the amenities. Would stay there again.
We stayed here as a family this passed summer. The hotel was very clean, and well maintained. The rooms were great and the air conditioning worked great. It had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. I loved the lobby and main sitting area. It was well decorated. I haven't stayed at a Best Western for a very long time and this would have to be one of the best! Looking forward to a return visit in the future.
Oh my gosh. This is not the Best Western hotels I remember as a kid. Honestly I was very concerned so I drove decided to commute and extra 45 mins one way further down to Walla Walla and stayed at the Hampton Inn. On my way to work I drove by the Best Western hotel and saw how new and nice it looked from the outside. The Hampton staff was poor at best, doesn't have a laundry room or laundry service, and the hot water that you get from the thermos to make hot tea taste like it came from a coffee pot. The hotel is old and tired. In contrast, Teresa & Jeanie went way over the top, this place is quite nice and new. I haven't eaten their breakfast yet but anything is better than the Hampton and I'm excited to try it out because I've heard really good things about. This place is WAY better than the Hampton Inn in Walla Walla. You will not be disappointed. The only issue I have is the remote does not work on the volume for the TV. I'm sure they'll get that fixed once they read this review.
People were very friendly and the rooms were clean and nice. Would stay there again. Breakfast was good and lots to chose from. Not alot to do in the small town but had several food places to eat in town. Was there for work.
The Best Western in Dayton WA is a "BW Plus" property--but it is a cut above the many similarly-rated BW hotels where I have been a guest. Part of the reason is that the hotel is only a few years old; but it is very well maintained. The Breakfast Bar is the biggest draw for me: fresh biscuits and home-made salsa every morning.
Jeannie, You should be very proud of your Hotel and your staff. As a worker, who spends most of his time on the road and away from family, a kind voice, and a smile, and a clean, safe room are simple pleasers most take for granted. You and your staff succeeded in all of those categories with flying colors. After 36 years on the road, my trip to Dayton was my last and home is where I will stay from now on. When Mrs. and I travel for pleasure, my first choice will be Best Western and they will be measured to the high bar that you and your staff have set. Thank you again for all of your kindness.
Great place to stay! So clean and very nice. I always enjoy Dayton so much. Staff is so nice. Love the atmosphere such a great place to stay for such a small town. Great places to eat and always very enjoyable!
Really nice place in a neat small town. We checked out the local brewery, Fire Chief?, and it was great beer and good food. Nice walkable community, quiet, and in a wonderful part of Washington, full of rolling hills, farmland, and a slice of old Americana.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great!! The pool and hot tub where great. The location was nice as we were visiting friends in Waitsburg and it was only a 10-15 min drive. What a beautiful area!!
We were extremely pleased with our stay! Beautiful and Clean with an extremely comforting/homey feel in the decorating. Comfy bedding, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast and the kids got to enjoy the indoor pool and loved it. Staff was all extremely helpful and kind. We WILL be staying again!
Room and lobby were very clean, friendly staff, safe area and easy parking. There were several selections for breakfast, which made it easy for this vegan to have something to tide me over until lunch. If you enjoy good coffee, this is not the place to have it, but a small price to pay for the rest.
We only stay here when in Dayton. It is newer, clean, comfortable and they go out of their way to keep it that way! Beds are comfy, rooms and bathrooms are immaculate. Breakfast is amazing! Too many things to list, but they have hot hod cold options along with healthy options and excellent coffee! Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you there to hunt, be sure to let them know so you can take advantage of their hunters discount. The hot tub and pool are great too!
Staff and hotel good but they did not honor rewards points at front desk. Said that had to be done online, not at front desk. totally BS when they dont honor their promotions. and we shouldn't have to read thru small print to see exclusions.
Love the setting very clean staff was helpful would stay again if chance would arise. The breakfast was delicious and a awesome selection. Rooms were very clean beds comfortable. Liked the coffee in the evening also
the gal at the desk screwed up charging my room to my credit card so I got a fraud alert and a hold on the card until I called them and straightened it out. We had to use my wife's card in the meantime. If this affects my credit rating you WILL hear from me.
This spot is a nice respite in between places, and allows one to rest well. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious! There are several places to dine, and it is easy to find in town. You'll find that he amenities are accessible, and easy to use. There's a pool, fitness, room. You'll be walking distance from some local historical sites, and nestled among the hills in the region.
Dayton is close to Walla Walla, and this is a lovely hotel with a helpful staff at a great price. We have stayed here several times, and it is always immaculate. Don't miss the Wenaha Gallery of you enjoy art. It is nearby , and has a fine selection .
This was one of the nicest motels we have visited. The employees were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The breakfast was a step above what you get at most hotels. Attendant made sure we had everything we needed.
The place is clean, quiet, with lovely decor and friendly accommodating staff. The pool/hot tub was great, and enclosed for colder weather use. We will definitely stay here when we are in town for the night!
I have stayed at this hotel several times and have never been disappointed. In my experience it is the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed at, and I stay in about 25 in a year. Breakfast has lots of variety and the rooms are always spotless. Dayton is a little gem of a town in an extremely beautiful part of the state. I'd go back here in a heartbeat if I didn't live 300 miles away.
We love to stay @ BW Plus. Dayton's hotel is crazy nice and a cut-above the usual great BW place. Staff, service, and accommodations are super and location is close to Walla Walla, wineries, hunting, and fishing. You can't go wrong here!
The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our family. She and her staff are kind, patient, and understanding!! The hotel itself is clean, accommodating, and well stocked with necessities! We usually stay at another chain hotel but after our visit here we will look for Best Western Plus Hotels more often!
Hotel was clean and bright. Lounging area was roomy with dinning/sitting area, nice size breakfast bar with adequate seating as long as all the guest didn't come at the same time. Room was exceptional with separate sleeping area and lounging area. Wifi worked well even with three of us on it at the same time, although my game was a bit hesitant in its play. There was a small refrigerator, krueg coffee maker, a microwave and an iron and board in the room. All were clean and in good working order. I was afraid I would miss my daily 3.66 mile 60 minute walk, but was pleasantly surprised to find the there was an exercise area with tread mill, bicycle machine and seat up bench available. Did not bring swimming stuff so was not able to enjoy the pool or the small Jacuzzi. Over all our short stay was vert pleasant and recommend the Dayton Washington Best Western to any who plan to visit the area or are just passing through. Oh, if you do stay, take short walk downtown to the Weinhard Cafe, the food is excellent, at least it was under the current owners, they are selling..
Staff was great. Was unable to check in at regular time, I called staff to let them know my situation and they were awesome. I didnt check I till midnight but the staff communicated that very well among each other. The staff member that checked me in also reminded me that I could check out later because I was a BW member which we needed.
Leisure trip around the PNW, led us to stay at this BW on the way out from Montana to the Oregon Coast. We were glad we chose this, as the hotel was excellent. While Dayton itself is not flourishing, it was nice to spend the night in a very good hotel in small America. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends, as the hotel, staff, and area were very interesting.
Always prefer to stay at Best Western. Nice hotels, nice rooms, and accept pets. Always have good breakfasts with many choices. Staff members have always been polite and very helpful. Always give us the best prices possible.
We had a family reunion and really enjoyed using the lobby for evening chats. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet and relaxing. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean and the breakfast was great with many choices Dayton is a great place for quiet strolls.
This is a good location right near the freeway, very comfortable room with desk for working and sofa. The fresh baked cookies in the afternoon is a nice touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Will stay again when I am back this way.
Clean, Friendly easy check in and out. Clean rooms and loved the breakfast and coffee available all the time. Having a restaurant across the "street" helped make our stay enjoyable. Suggest making reservation well in advance.
We had 3 rooms and arrived at 3 different times. The hotel worked with us all to make it easy. Breakfast was fantastic and different the two days we were there. The pool was nice and cool! and the hot tub hot! Enjoyed sitting outside in the evening around the lanai and visiting.
We pulled into the Best Western Plus Dayton Hotels and Suites at about 8 pm, after visiting the charming town of Walla Walla. We were excited about this stay as it was our award night from Hotels.com that took us two years to amass. (We love to travel and cherish the chances, but we aren't overwhelmingly wealthy.) Anyway, we arrived at the front desk only to be told that someone had already arrived with that reservation. (WHAT???) As it turns out, someone had arrived an hour earlier with my first name, and a name the desk girl thought might be a mis-spelling of my last name. (WHAT???) Anyway, the desk girl had to call her boss to unravel the mess but assured me that the boss would make sure she compensated us for the anxiety my wife and I were going through. After a long wait in the lobby, the decision was made to give us a different room from the one we had requested, though no compensation was offered. On the way up to the room, we passed another guest who had been checked into a room that had not been cleaned. (What's going on here?) The next morning at check-out time there was no one at the front desk? Departing guests were to go to a house phone and call for assistance. That's all well and good at 2 in the afternoon, or 6:30 in the evening, but at check-out time the desk should be manned at all times, so as not to delay people who may be hurrying out. At least, that's my opinion. Anyway, it is too bad that the desk was such a chaotic and unprofessional place because the room was fine and the breakfast appeared to be top-notch. Gotta pick it up, though, when it comes to customer service.
This hotel is amazing. Staff is great. Variety of breakfast choices. Fitness center always clean. Housekeeping super friendly and fast to get to your room cleaned. If you are staying in Dayton please try the Weinhard Cafe. Awesome food and staff. Hamburgers are amazing.
The hotel is the nicest place in the area ....Room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed and free breakfast in the morning that was good......Pool and hot tub were great after a day on my motorcycle.Wiil be here next year same time....
The hotel was right on the historical downtown street. We were able to park at the hotel and walk around the entire downtown. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The pool and spa were well taken care of and really relaxing. The rooms are spacious and the bed and pillows were just right at the end of our long day. The breakfast had a wide variety of tasty offerings. Dayton is a cute town with lots of history and family owned businesses. We will be back and stay at the Best Western again in the future!
Clean, well kept, spacious, modern facility. Friendly and eager staff. We actually plan our trips in Eastern Washington to be able to stop here. Though on the edge of town, this hotel is an easy walk to anything. Good breakfast. Easy parking.
This is one of the nicest Best Western's I have had the pleasure to stay in. I travel for work and frequent a number of motels across the country. This place is clean, friendly and extremely comfortable.
We ended up here due to no availability in Walla Walla WA or Moscow ID due to local events. This facility is fairly new with friendly and helpful staff. We had a pet and was welcomed. Would stay here again.
We had a problem with our refregerator and the staff went above our expectations to make it right. Service with a smile! Upon check in the male attendant was very cheerful and went abouve my expectations to see that we were very informed and gave us ideas what we could do in Dayton.
My husband and I had a great time when we stayed on April 2018 for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is nice and great service. We specially love the beautiful colorful furniture there were confy and stylish at the same time. Thankd for a great experience
This motel was very nice. It was clean, and very well kept. It was lacking nothing. The breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The pool area was clean and neat, although there were some folks in there with alcohol, which the signs said were unwelcome. They need to probably more closely monitor that.
Clean and modern Hotel. Our room for 4 adults was roomy and comfortable for all of us. The breakfast was very well stocked and the food was good. The breakfast room was comfortable and looked more like a restaurant than the usual hotel.
A wonderful, 5 star hotel in the middle of a quiet, little town. Leave the car parked and enjoy walking to the bakery, the old train depot, Elk Drug store, the hardware store that has a wide variety and all the other wonderful places to see and visit. Wonderful variety for breakfast. Easy access to Wi-Fi. Very accommodating. Drive about half an hour away to the little town of Pomeroy. Eat at Tonia's. Visit Meyer's Hardware Store, lots to see, and get ice cream or a latte while there. Visit Pomeroy Pharmacy for a large selection of all kinds of items and where greeting cards are one half off all year round. Dayton and Pomeroy towns - don't miss them.
I just dont have words for how awesome this hotel is! And the staff are so friendly & cheerful. Truly 10's across the board. . The hotel is clean & nicely appointed, but the staff make it wonderful. Breakfast was like a celebration every morning, the rooms are so clean & pretty. It was peaceful, and the beds are so comfy. The pool room was great!

This hotel may look like a suitable option for lodging when you ski in Bluewood, but the staff, Kevin the night manager and Eleanor the day manager, are incompetent to put it mildly. The computer system that this hotel has does not keep accurate records of the reservations. If you are using regular booking websites like hotels.com or orbitz, and if you pay thru other portals, then it might not be an issue. If you are booking on your own, then be ready to deal with the management team, Kevin and Eleanor, and be prepared to have a battle with them. They will not own up to their problems and mistakes and will treat you like a criminal and call you a liar in your face. I was humiliated and attacked by them. Even after I showed the email confirmation, which was sent out by Eleanor herself, there was never an apology. These people should not be in the service industry at all. I was so offended I thought about reporting it to Dayton Police department.
The front desk ladies were super nice!!We liked the pool and hot tub also. The breakfast was wonderful and full of verity. The room was clean and comfortable. We will be back for sure. Thank you, April
Best Western, Dayton, WA, has rooms to comfortably accommodate families of 5 and is clean and bright. Breakfast is sufficient and we especially enjoy the reciprocity agreement with Ski Bluewood such that discounts are available for stay and ski.
At the end of a 10 Hour drive from California I was very surprised when I pulled into this very new modern best western located what seems like out in the middle of nowhere. Well lit clean property with large parking lot for me to park my truck and trailer then greeted by very friendly staff. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds and modern amenities. Woke up to a good breakfast and again friendly staff were very helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to anybody in the area. A true “10” in my book.
This hotel is a great adfiaddi to the Dayton community and allows us to visit more frequently. Our kids love the pool and hot tub, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast is good for something complimentary.
We stayed here for one night between Coeur d' Alene and Portland. This hotel looked like it was only a few years old and was in good shape. Our room faced the back of the hotel and was very quiet. I noticed a lot of truck traffic on the highway, so not sure if the front rooms are noisier? We had our dog with us but there were no smells like some pet rooms in other hotels. Overall, the room was very clean and pretty large. There was a free continental breakfast and was what you would expect at a Best Western. Dayton is a cute place but very small. We walked our dog the length of the town and back. It was a Thursday night and other than a few restaurants, everything was pretty much closed by five or six in the evening. If you are looking for entertainment or many dining/bar choices, I would probably continue on to Walla Walla. However, if you are happy staying in a little town at a nice hotel, the Best Western is a good choice.
The facility is always clean and ready on time. The staff is professional and very helpful when contacted - particularly the day crew. Pleasant people, always have time to help us. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Convenient exercise facility with nearly new, good working equipment. And, there is a barbeque available on the outside deck.
You wouldn't expect to find a terrific Beat Weatern property like this one in a small community. Perfect stop over place between Walla Walla and Pullman. Thanks to the great staff helping with any request.
Great pet friendly place to stay! Room was clean and well appointed, convenient location, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was nice!! Definitely will stay again!!Only problem was they forgot to clean our room one day, but I went to the lobby and received clean towels. They apologized, and brought us cookies, water, & a nice note the next day.
Pleasant surprise for such a nice hotel in a small town. Great breakfast. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. Indoor pool and jacuzzi which was great after a long drive. I would recommend this hotel.
Clean, well planned rooms and public areas. Nice theme that matches the local terrain. Breakfast OK and well laid out. Only suggestion is to put in a 1-2 more towels, or perhaps thicker towels. If two people use the bath, and one washes hair, it was hard to get dry with only two total bath towels! Friendly staff.
Great hotel. Better town eat at Weinhard. Don't forget anything they will not call you. They won't ask if you have a pet nor is it on check in sheet. But they will call you about that. That's all I have to say.
Nice hotel in the small community of Dayton, WA. Staff was fantastic and the rooms were spotless. The pool area was clean as well as the outdoor seating area. The breakfast that was provided was good and the pastries from a local bakery were wonderful.
Very Friendly and Overall Service was Outstanding. We enjoyed the employees, breakfast, our rooms, and the location. We would recommend this Best Western to anybody. Our entire family enjoyed our time.
I have passed thru Dayton numerous times and have always appreciated the nice outdoor landscaping and hotel building itself, so instead of driving the 2+ hrs home i spent the night. I was able to have my dog for a fee, I was given a BW member discount, and stayed in a very comfortable, clean, king suite. There was a large lawn area for the dog but also a walk thru downtown is very pleasant as well. Breakfast was robust with both hot and cold meal items. I'm glad I took the opportunity.
Hello - Excellent stay! Thank you for being located in such a small town!!! My only complaint would be the shower!!! Not all of us are over 6 feet tall! I could not take a good shower and get a good rinse for my hair because the shower head was way too high above me. Maybe, put in adjustable shower heads so those of us under 5 feet 5 inches can adjust it down? Otherwise, I look forward to staying there again!!! Thank you!
Small town with an uptown hotel. Room was very nice, bed was comfortable. Toiletries were awesome, organic and smelled great. Breakfast options were great! Shower head is great for tall people! Although I'm short, it was high enough for 6 ft 5 person!
We really enjoyed the motel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean. The food was good and again the staff was so friendly and helpful. The parking was ample and the lighting was good. I would highly recommended this place to try
I was in town for a job interview. I booked this hotel in advance. I am glad I did. Have to say this has been one of the best experiences I can remember. The facilities were spotless. The rooms very comfortable and quiet. The staff was inviting and professional.
If you're sensitive to pets in your sleeping space, don't trust the rooms at this hotel.I tried air conditioning, opening windows, etc.The staff said they did not have dedicated pet-free rooms and could not guarantee that a pet had not been boarded with its owner in any room.
This hotel is super cute. Very nice exterior, and interior is even better. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, and a lanai that's beautiful and even has an outdoor cooking area. Has fitness center as well. Wi-if was fast, beds comfortable, and service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a fairly new motel in lovely, quaint Dayton WA. It is lovely inside and out and all staff that we have met are smiling, cheerful and helpful. I am a travel nurse that travels to Dayton several times a year to work at the local hospital and while I know it is most likely part of my profile in the computer I appreciate that they remember what company I am with, that my husband ,son and dog travel with me, that we prefer late checkout and try to pit us on the ground floor if possible.
This Best Western Plus is 5 star. Staff are very helpful. I have never stayed in a hotel this clean, even in Las Vegas. The pool area was spotless with plenty of towels. The grounds were professionally maintain. The little town of Dayton Washington is a treasure. Don
This is was our third summer staying here. Love, love, love this place! Hotel is 5 years old but looks just built. Landscaping is beautiful. Rooms and spotless, as is entire hotel! Great pool, hot tub and patio. Very relaxing. Staff is excellent and very helpful. We'll be back next year!
Enjoyed our stay. Loved the coffee pods, breakfast and the use of the great groom for games and socializing with our V-8 Tour group members. Staff was courteous and ready to serve whenever needed. What more can I say. Room was satisfactory, clean and accessible via elevator and cart.
I have been staying at this Best Western for a couple months now due to work. The rooms have been kept clean, the breakfast is good, and the stay has been enjoyable. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.
Excellent, friendly and clean hotel in a quiet city in the middle of rolling wheat fields. From check in to check out the stay was perfect from the perspective of comfort and convenience to the friendly staff and speed at which everything was done.
We stayed at this hotel for 1 night during our road trip across America. The rooms were big, clean and modern. Staff were attentive. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.
very nice place to stay. very clean and a very good breakfast. we were price gouged because there was a car show in town. check before you stay here to make sure there are no special events happening during your stay.
A typical Best Western - perhaps just a bit more spotless - than usual. Of course it's pretty new to Dayton. Service & staff was excellent. Breakfast had a good assortment of items. Pool is small but adequate. Quiet. I would recommend staying here!
New hotel located at the edge of town. Easy to find and enter/exit. Plenty of parking. The breakfast area was clean and we'll maintained. While the typical breakfast type foods (cereal, breads, eggs and a meat), the staff was very attentive to refill. Coffee was hot and fresh. Room was clean and comfortable.
Happily surprised to find this BW in the middle of the Palouse were it is virtually impossible to find a place to stay when there is anything major going on at the 2 nearby Universities. Beds were super comfy, rooms very clean, overall great stay. will be back for future Moms weekends.
Clean, friendly, excellent breakfast. Outdoor patio is very nice! Pool is awesome! Our trip was to see Paulose Falls but there was an incident there so it was closed for the weekend. Disappointed, but community is very friendly and helped us to make other plans to enjoy ourselfs!
Although a relatively new property, room designs were not well thought out. The bathroom door almost hits the toilet (be sure no one is sitting or their knees will get knocked), the desk chair doesn't fit under the desk so you have to move it next to the wall @ night so you don't trip over the thing. There weren't enough towels for 2 people but did deliver more upon request. Eliptical in exercise room wasn't working properly. Breakfast was a little below the standard for Best Western Plus. Next time when in the area, we'll go elsewhere.
A welcoming stay in a quaint little town. Staff were friendly and accomodations were relaxing. Would return. The addition of a desirable outside area including tables, lounges and a barbeque were nice additions.
Lovely decor, great breakfast and wonderful rooms. Would recommend staying here in this new and updated hotel. Wasn't a bad drive in to Walla Walla and the wineries. Dayton is a cute town and I recommend the Chief Spring's Fire and Iron's for a pizza and a homemade brew.
Nice location. Excellent accommodations and quiet atmosphere.always book our stay here when visiting family in town. Loved the breakfast and cleanliness of the entire hotel. Hot tub and pool is an added bonus.
The hotel staff were wonderful and the room was excellent. As basically located North of Walla Walla and south of Spokane and west of Lewiston this is an great location for food, skiing, hiking, water activities, etc. Breakfast is the typical however plenty of food for everyone. WIFI connection was surprisingly fast as well.
Dayton is a very small town. Made reservation with out checking the hotel out online. We wanted to stay close to where a family members funeral was being held. I thought it would be a older hotel. I was presently surprised when we pulled in. Service started before we even made it to the lobby. Staff member went in and brought us out a luggage cart without being asked. We were greeted in a warm and welcome fashion the moment we arrived at this nearly new hotel. This is a town that has a population of less than 3,000. I did not expect anything nearly this nice, and it was very nice and clean too. Their housekeeping staff does an amazing job. Diane was the housekeeper for our room. I like talking to the local people. She was friendly and knowledgeable our room was neat as could be. When you stay at Best Western Plus in Dayton Wa. Be sure to check out the Palouse waterfall and the statues in nearby Waitsburg. Small town America, I love it!
I have one thing to say about this motel. It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! I did not want to leave the next day, just to stay there forever in that bed! They also have a nice breakfast included.
I always stay at Best Western for work and pleasure. Staff is always nice and rooms are always clean. Locations are always easy for me to get I to with my truck. My wife and I only stay at best western when we travel as well.
Very nice, rooms are spacious and decorated nicely. Staff is friendly and the free breakfast includes a wide variety of foods. It has a nice pool and hot tub. We will be coming back for sure! All of the amenities are included, great hotel!
I read that there was no fee for pets here, and then I was charged. Why in the world can't you simply state your pet policy clearly on your website? Why is it such a secret? I have only a tiny dog. Any why isn't it possible to pay a fee to stay just a few hours longer? At most hotels near ski resorts, there is at least an option. Even though the hotel was virtually empty, there was absolutely no possibility.
Fantastic hotel, decor matched location of farming community with brands on the wall and a western appeal. Very welcoming. Rooms were spectacular and breakfast was great as well. Highly recommend if passing through on HWY 12.
We stay at this hotel every time we go to Dayton, which is usually twice a year, no less. We have never had to complain about anything there. The employee courtesy is always good. The rooms have always been nice. The breakfasts have always been good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the Dayton, WA area and needs a place to stay.
The staff was very helpful during our stay.... during check in, breakfast and in the evening. The rooms were clean, comfortable and roomy. If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.
Nice place to stay in Dayton, Wa. The only problem was The room that I reserved, was not the room that I reserved over the phone. It worked out fine. The breakfast is always awesome, love the cheese omelets.
Very nice hotel, very clean, pool and sauna were great. Breakfast was delicous and items were always available. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the bed was outstanding. Easy check in and out.
The staff was very friendly and helpful with questions. The room was clean and even with a full hotel it was quite and laid back atmosphere. One of the nicest hotels in town. Was in town for a family member that was in the hospital over Thanksgiving and It was a comfortable non stressful stay.
Our family stayed here for a couple of nights and were impressed with how nice and clean the hotel was. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. We will certainly stay here again, it was a great experience overall.
This is about 30 minutes from Walla Walla so if you are looking to visit Walla Walla, be ready for a little bit of a drive. Other than that it's a great hotel. The staff is friendly and even had breakfast going a little bit early which was wonderful since we were up and going at 6 am for the day's activities. The pool was fun for my kids and the beds were very comfortable.
clean nice place for Dayton Washington. a must place to stay if needing to stay in Dayton. the rooms were very nice and quiet. the staff was very friendly. we had a special request and they had no issues with helping us. the breakfast was very nice and had plenty of food/drink unlike others that skimp. the other hotels in Dayton are dumps and Walla Walla is 30 minutes away and most of theirs are dumps. for the cost I feel it is a home run.
Have stayed at Dayton's Motels previous but the BW+ spoiled us. Great service, bed, quiet and solid breakfast. Convenient parking close to town. An excellent addition to travel from Spokane to Walla Walla or Tri Cities - the back roads are the best. Love Dayton!
This hotel is very beautiful and well maintained inside and out. So very clean! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and one of the quietest hotels I've stayed.. The amenities of a Keurig coffee brewer and full breakfast made my stay so very pleasant. The hot tub and heated pool and the small fitness center were in great working condition and such a clean area! Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful with everything I could possibly need! The check in and check out staff were so friendly and always smiling! The breakfast crew was always checking the breakfast bar and coming into the dining are to make sure all was good. Such a nice staff of women! Not many hotel staff take this extra caring step. Thank you, thank you! Truly the best. I'll be back
Easy to locate hotel. Receptionists very professional and helpful. Room was very clean. Very nice setting for the breakfast lounge and sitting area. Nice work out area, although, I didn't have time to use it . Would highly recommend your stay there.
I spend over 50% of my year in hotels. This stay was for a little vacation. Extremely satisfied. Super Clean and modern! Staff was excellent. Not your typical small town motel. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
LOVE the comfy beds, the fact that they are pet friendly and their breakfast! I've stayed here before in business but this time was for pleasure.we would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Dayton.
This is the first and only hotel property my wife and I experienced during our 11 state and 5K mi. drive getaway that is way ahead of their competition. The hotel was not only managed above and beyond other BWPlus's, but instead of providing the old style and out of date bathroom w/ the tub/shower combo..ancient by todays standards....they gave their clientele a walk in shower sans bathtub. Outstanding! Why is this class leading? It addresses the real safety issues these old bathroom designs inherently have......slippery tub surfaces, improperly placed hand holds, hard to get in and out for us retirees adding to the existing safety issues. Ever almost slip on those ubiquitous slippery floor towels hotels provide?
New property and clean facilities. Was traveling with family and friends. Check in and check out was very convenient. We went to pool at the end of the day and it was relaxing. Hot breakfast was great too.
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. Interior of hotel was very modern and clean. We didn't have a chance to use the pool and hot tub, but looked like a nice area as well. Would highly recommend.
A beautiful building in a small town. Made this the hub for a wine tour of the area. Made several side trips to different wineries, and shopping in Walla Walla, Washington. If you are a member of the Eagles, they have a nice one downtown. Also a visit to Enterprise and Joseph, Oregon was worth the driving.
The Dayton Best Western Plus is wonderful. It is clean, the desk clerks are friendly and efficient, the breakfast was above average for hotel food, it was kept hot, full and the coffee was delicious. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. My only complaint was the Kuerig coffee maker....the coffee was too strong for us. We stayed e nights and hated to leave.
This place was great, I was not expecting much for being such a small town but everything was really nice. We only stayed from one night but everything was clean when we showed up and had no issues with noise.
Great Hotel in a great little town, also had great pizza in town. The room was very clean and very pleasing. I almost thought about staying one more day but had to leave. The staff were very professorial and were very helpful with my stay.
The staff was polite and kind and made sure that we all were signed up to get points. The bed was amazing...I slept like a baby. The hot breakfast was yummy and included biscuits and gravy, cheese omelet, fruit, waffles, etc. I over heard a hunter making a reservation and they were able to give him a "hunters" discount. Highly recommend this hotel!!
Beautiful place to stay for your trip to SE Washington. And be sure to stop by Dumas Station Winery a couple miles out of town towards Waitsburg. This is the way wineries used to be! Only 10% in WA are still Estate Wineries. This is one of my favorites.
Dirty wash cloth and a disturbing amount of long, black hair was waiting for me in the shower during my stay, which was GROSS! How can you miss this? This would have been a 4 star review, had it not been for the shower. Best place to stay within an hour radius of Walla Walla, by far, but check the shower first before stepping in. Attention to detail is key, when you are battling for consumers' dollars, and this hotel absolutely dropped the ball this time around.
My husband and I stayed here one night over labor day weekend and were very pleased with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the facilities were clean and comfortable. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of two reasons. First, the treadmill is a piece of crap and needs to be replaced. Second, the arrangement of our room was weird. We stayed in room 316. The bed was facing the window, and the television was on the right side of the bed. This may make sense if there had been a spectacular view out the window, but it wasn't. So we would have to crank our heads to the right to watch TV. We actually moved the bed so it was facing the television, and it worked out so much better, and seemed like it was the natural flow of the room. (Don't worry, we moved it back, I used to be a hotel housekeeper.) Other than that, everything was great. There were tons of channels, the internet worked, the breakfast was good, featuring baked goods from a local cafe. The town of Dayton is very cute and quaint. If you are satisfied with a slow pace then you would enjoy it there. I could have easily spent a few days. And the rates were reasonable. We paid $120 on Saturday, labor day weekend with no reservation.
The room was clean and comfortable. Best western quality. We will always choose to stay at a Best Western facility. Friendly staff ready to accommodate our needs as a family. If our children are happy we are too!!!
Nice stay. Rooms were clean and quiet. Quick walk into town. Dayton is a cute farming community with several good restaurants, it's not quite a tourist destination but that was fine for my friends and I.
Was a very pleasant stay. Staff were very courteous. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent each day and had a great variety of items to choose from. Would gladly recommend to friends. Would stay again.
Stayed twice this year. Both times were excellent. The rooms were clean, at least to my untrained eyes. Breakfast was complementary and ok. The pool, hot tub, gym were clean but closed at 10 pm. Good restaurants at walking distance but closed at 9 pm. Recommended.
The Best Western Plus in Dayton is clean, comfortable, and offers rooms at an excellent rate. The front desk employees were all very friendly and helpful, from making dining suggestions to making change. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The breakfast area was well appointed and kept clean and well stocked. Breakfast was a nice variety of fresh fruit, cereals, breads and pastries, and yogurt as well as hot prepared foods and a waffle maker. The hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants. Snacks are available for purchase at the front desk. The drinks in the vending machine were reasonably priced. The only thing we found bothersome was that the bed was situated in such a way that the air conditioning fan blew directly on it. Simply moving the large upholstered chair in front of the vents solved this problem. Dayton is on the cusp of being an up-and-coming little town. The BW Plus is a great place to stay when you come to explore the area.
It was a treat to visit this hotel in Dayton. So very clean and comfortable. Staff is delightful, friendly, informative, efficient and an asset to this property. Breakfast served and well presented. A+
I stayed for a few days to meet up with friends. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I was on the first floor and heard zero road noise. Breakfast is pretty good as well.Front desk people need to be more attentive
Stayed for a family function. I really like the beds. Hotel is clean and free breakfast is adequate that most everyone can find something they like. Staff is helpful and friendly. Pool is bit cold but hot tub is warm. The AC works very well.
My daughter and I are season pass holders for White Pass so we receive 2 day lift tickets at Bluewood with our season passes. I have never been to Bluewood so we decided to give it a try. Being a rewards member, I was more than comfortable choosing to stay at this Best Western and was not disappointed! This hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in was quick and easy and the ladies at the front desk were very polite and welcoming. The breakfast was great with more than enough variety. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! The pool and hot tub were great after a day of skiing. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves two nights in a row! We enjoyed our trip so much that we are planning to make it an annual event. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
This hotel is 4 years old, but it is kept so immaculately clean, that you will think that you are the first guest to ever check in. Had a chance to visit with a housekeeper in the hallway who said the reason it (this hotel) stays so beautiful is because the general manager is VERY detail orientated. We have only great things to say about our stay here, we love this beautiful community, hotel and all the things we encountered on our quick stay in Dayton, WA
The BW In Dayton is a clean, comfortable hotel with an indoor pool, a fitness room, and outdoor patio with a gas fire pit. Beds are very comfortable. A very nice place to stay in a really cute little community.
lovely building, enjoyed our stay. We were doing a Washington loop road trip and had stayed in Dayton before. It was hot, we were tired and this was the perfect place to stay. Refreshing & close to some good dining choices.
This is a great place to stay when in the Dayton area. The staff are terrific, the hotel is always clean and well-maintained and very comfortable. We love staying here and enjoying the pool with the grandkids!
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Dayton for one night while traveling with our motorcycle club. The hotel is very nice. There were 16 in our group and we had made reservations for 14 rooms. Krista was working check in at the front desk when we arrived and she was the best! She worked at lightning speed to get us checked in room by room and she was so pleasant and welcoming. She made sure to let us know that there was a place at the back of the hotel where we could wash our bikes, and when we went out there we found a bucket, soap, rags, and the hose all ready to go. Our king bed room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants. If you are in Dayton and need a place to stay, I would highly recommend this Best Western Plus both for the comfort and great service.
We prepaid for a suite for a stay in June several months in advance, planning to share the suite with our adult daughter. A couple of weeks before our stay, we reconsidered and went on line to book another room, hoping it wouldn' be too expensive, considering it was pretty close to our stay. We were about to book a room, when it was so much more suddenly unavailable because someone else booked before we could. We then looked at an identical suite that was almost $30.00 less than the one we had prepaid 3 weeks earlier. We booked the room and decided to call Best Western to see if an adjustment could be made. They could not adjust it through their central booking, but advised us to try with the individual hotel. They said it shouldn't be a problem since we booked at an earlier time when there was more availability, but since Best Westerns are individually owned it had to be the hotel who made the adjustment. We then called the hotel, finally got the manager who rudely refused to make an adjustment. After much hemming and hawing, she finally said she would refund if we wanted to stay elsewhere. There was no availability so we did keep the booking and stayed there in June. We did have a very nice stay, in clean spacious, new suites, but after hearing the manager abase a very nice employee within hearing range of the desk. We realized why the manager treated us so rudely and rigidly on the phone. A person with so few people skills needs to be in a different profession.
It's a surprisingly nice comfortable hotel. I come from a small town and I know firsthand that accommodations for travelers in tiny towns can be "quaint" or "rustic" or "charmingly homey" (read: 50-year old place with the original beds), this is not one of those. (if you're into that its okay too) I like the fact that there are squishy beds and I cant hear anything outside my hotel room.
The customer service from the employees of this hotel was excellent. The pool was always spotless, the outdoor areas perfection. The rooms were big with really comfortable beds. The breakfast was really great and they even had to go bags if you had a meeting etc.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to assist. as I walked through the lobby, the young lady that was working the counter stopped and checked if I needed any items as I had a bag of food from a local store. the room was great, the whole place was very clean. highly recommend this hotel to anyone that may be staying in the Dayton area.
This was a very nice hotel in a small town. The entire facility was went maintained, clean and comfortable. It's within walking distance of several restaurants. The continental breakfast was good as well.
This is a wonderful place to get a good nights rest. The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is extremely helpful. The hotel is located in a quaint old fashioned town. Great example of main street small town America.
Great Hotel!! Great Service!! The Breakfast Server was "Amazing!" The entire area was kept spotless and the breakfast items were continually being refreshed. The front desk was helpful and courteous!! Wonderful hotel all around!!!
We were on a "no destination" road trip when we needed to stop for the evening. Lucky for us we came across this hotel. We had our little poodle with us and had already been told no "Animals" at the first place we tried to stop. To our delight we were able to get a room and it was perfect!! The desk clerk was extremely nice, efficient and polite. There was a pet charge - but we did not mind. The hotel was nicely decorated and the price was very good - we are members of their rewards club. Breakfast was good - with a good assortment to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel. What a nice place.
Picked this location by chance as it was halfway between point A and B. Sure glad we did. This was a nice little town that takes you back to when living at a slower pace was so relaxing. There were many local restaurants withing walking distance and a nice little park in town too. Our hotel was a modern hotel for what the rest of the town appears to be but it still fit in. We would love to come back to this town and get to know some of the locals, very friendly. Our room was a good size and the bed was great. The breakfast area is very large with a good selection of items to eat. This is a must stay for when we come back to this area.
My third visit to this nice hotel was a pleasure as usual. Again we appreciated the 'washing station' set up behind the hotel, an opportunity to rid our motorcycle of road grime and rain spots. We enjoy this little town of Dayton a lot, and had another a good meal at the Firehouse Brewpub just down the street from the hotel. Discovered this hotel on a May birding trip a few years back when Walla Walla had no lodging available. So glad we were referred to the Best Western in Dayton, as it has always more than met our needs.
I stay at this Best Western about 4 times a year, while visiting family. Every time I check in, I feel not only welcome, but like I am home. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly. I have been staying here for several years, and have yet to experience a noisy time! They stay on top of the breakfast, making sure they do not run out. I highly recommend this Hotel.
1) I have a bad back and need a firm mattress. The beds were too soft, so I had to sleep with a pillow under me on the firmest bed each night, 2) the bed HAD DIRTY SHEETS. I'm glad I happened to check it by pulling down the covers and looking at it. I found numerous pieces of long hair and a lint ball from a sock. YUCK!! The front desk person immediately came up and changed them, but it caused me to lose faith in the hotel, b/c a dirty bed is a big deal to me. 3) I have multiple chemical sensitivities and my eyes were BEET RED the entire stay (3 days). It was really embarrassing since i was there with co-workers for a training. No amount of eye drops changed their color but they returned to normal after I left the hotel. 4) The elevator is extremely slow. The fastest way down if you're on the 2nd or 3rd level, after getting your luggage to your room, is the stairway. 5) you can open the window in the room only 5 inches and the heavy drapes prevent much natural air flow. That being said, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the breakfasts are great. I like that the hotel is providing business to the community and helping it's economy. Their conference rooms are nice and the heating/cooling system cooled the room down really fast. Rooms have an microwave and fridge too, and the overall appearance of the hotel is clean. It's a beautiful hotel.
Nice place to stay with friendly staff and good amenities. Located it a beautiful area of town and surrounding area is very nice. Rooms are quiet and very clean and the area feels very safe. Located only 25 minutes from Walla Walla this is a great option vs. staying in a bigger city.
Was here for a short visit delivering furniture to my kids. Love this hotel. It's always clean and staff are friendly. Breakfast is always excellent. Housekeepers keep the rooms perfectly clean and comfortable.
We stayed the night at this awesome hotel when we visited Dayton for a graduation. The lobby was decorated very well. Our room had super comfy beds and was clean and new. Everything was very updated and the front desk was so helpful. The breakfast was surprising in that they had biscuits and gravy, ham, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, and delicious pastries from a local bakery all for free!! Not your usual free hotel breakfast by any means. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. The management must be very good at their jobs because this place is truly a hidden gem.
Wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable, accommodating. You can't go wrong with this choice. The staff is very helpful. Nice, hot breakfast with lots of choices. The hotel is well maintained and shows pride of ownership.
Just an amazingly nice experience. We didn't think service and amenities like this still existed in motels. The staff was very helpful. The room was very comfortable. The cleanliness and appearance of the motel was outstanding.
I can't do a full review as we did not stay there. The hotel was completely booked the night we were in town. We did have a great experience with the front desk staff, specifically Annie. She went out of her way to find and arrange for accomodations elsewhere, at a great rate! Thanks! We will certainly try your hotel...earlier! Next time we are in the area. The lobby was very nice!
Our room was much nicer than we expected for a Best Western. We felt like we were staying in a high end hotel. Rooms are tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Our room had a King bad that was very comfortable. Nice breakfast included (eggs, waffles, juices, coffee, fruit and more); pool and hot tub and close to downtown. The lobby has a fireplace and large screen tv (to watch the Mariners, since the rooms don't have all the channels since directv charges for every room even if it isn't in use). The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Hotel is nice and comfortable, clean. All the things you expect at a BW. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Dayton is a nice town and BW is a place the stay. Nice breakfast, hot tub and pool. The one interesting thing was our room had a walk in shower, no tub.
This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great with lots of choices. The entire building is extremely clean and the pool and spa area are great. Outside gas BBQ and fire-pit. pet friendly!!!
just a real swell place, nice and clean, breakfast was much better than the Grapevine Inn in Sunnyside, WA a few days earlier. Staff very friendly. used outside fire pit but needs a wind breaker around the area.
This is a very nice hotel - quiet, convenient, and very hospitable. The facilities are top-notch and the staff is very accommodating. Breakfast is very good. It is a great place to stay in a very nice town.
My sister and I were on a road trip and had stayed at quite a few discount motels, we were on our way home and decided that a good place to get off the road for the nite would be Dayton . We were delighted to see this hotel as we came into town, so stopped and booked a room. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the lobby was beautiful, the room was spotless, roomy, very nicely decorated and well stocked. We even went back downstairs woth a glass of wine and relaxed in the big comfy lobby in front of the fireplace for awhile before going to dinner. The complimentary breakfast menu in the morning changes daily. Yesterday it was scrambled eggs, rosemary potatoes and bacon. There was also cereals, yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee etc. I couldn't think of even 1 improvement Is have liked to see in this hotel stay, it was perfect.
Located in the middle between the Palouse and Walla Walla, Wa. Hotel is newly built. Comfortable rooms, nice amenities, with breakfast. In walking distance to town. Diners close early at 8pm during week.
I look forward to my visits to Dayton and stay at the Best Western. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff are the greatest. They go out of their way to help you out. Dayton is a nice little town with some great restaurants. Between the hotel and the town Dayton is a great place to say.
We had a great stay starting from the time we checked in until the time we checked out. The hotel is clean ,perfectly appointed, and staffed by people who want to make sure you enjoy your stay. The hotel is centrally located in town, and as our pleasure, we were able to walk to tour many of the historic cites. As an example the court house, the train station square, and the veterans memorial. Our room was perfect,Comfortable, quiet and spacious. A wonderful visit.
Nice people. Nice room. Nice tv, refridge, micro. Nice brkfst. I would recommend this for lodging in Dayton. The hotel was very much decorated with farming, railroad, western motif. Desk staff nice. Easy to get to woods for outdoor recreation and to downtown for food and shopping.
We had a fabulous time in Dayton Washington. Service was excellent and friendly. The breakfast was good and kept very clean ,much appreciated.! Looking forward to our next stay. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
The BW Dayton Hotel is a great place to stay in the lower Palouse region. The facility is relatively new and very well maintained. The staff was very helpful for a recommendation on a restaurant for dinner.
Always helpful staff and clean rooms. Even when I forget something they usually get to me fairly quickly and let me know so that I can either come back and get it then or my next time through. Thanks.
As the primary hotel for Siemens in the area, i find it frustrating that your breakfast times do not align with the schedule of your Siemens guests. It is approx 45 minutes to site from the hotel with a start time at 7am, offering a full breakfast to those traveling to the areas wind farms would be nice
When we arrived we noticed how clean and modern the hotel was, from the lobby to the room. The breakfast area was clean and food was great. We were skiing at Bluewood and the hotel is a great place to stay as far as distance to ski area as well.
Clean room, comfy beds, nice breakfast with lots of selections, and dog friendly. We stayed there to ski Bluewood and has a great time. Lots of great restaurants in the area too. Staff was very nice :
A beautiful and undiscovered ski area at Bluewood with a fabulous hotel with nice breakfast to start the day. Beds are comfortable and the staff are well informed and very helpful. Check out the train station in town, court house, brewery and wineries in the area.
Elenor and her staff are some of the Best in the business !! I travel coast to coast with my job and stay long term in some places so i know hotels and this one was above and beyond... The lady's and Maint. staff worked hard to make sure guest were safe in the snow and ice they worked hard to keep sidewalks and parking areas clear ! Very friendly place tostay. I will stay here everytime I return to Dayton......
After driving from Pasco and passing through a number of small communities and "downtown" Dayton, my expectations for the property were pretty low. But when I pulled up to the hotel I was pleasantly surprised by the exterior and the interior of the property. The lobby, rooms and hallways were all in very good shape, the front desk employees were very friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast choices were good. If traveling to the area I would highly recommend this hotel.
All was good while we stayed!! The beds were comfortable, the place was quiet, and the breakfast was fabulous! The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. My son and I stayed at Best Western Plus while on a hunting weekend and we enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful staff, bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed love the decor and feel felt right at home hanging out in the lobby after our great great breakfast by the fireplace We had a pet room but it smelled clean and nice
This hotel is new, clean and staffed with an awesome group of people. They bent over backwards to ensure I was able to grill ribs for my team staying there and the evening was fantastic! The breakfast was great and varied each day...This is my go to spot when I am back in the Waitsburg, Dayton, Pomeroy area! A special shout out to Melody!
Very nice place in this small town. Breakfast was very good for a motel and the rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Would recommend this place to anyone. It has a pool and spa to complete you date night
My wife and I travel through Dayton, WA on a semiannual basis. Since the completion of the Dayton BW+, we have looked forward to staying at that facility. In Oct. we were able to spend one night at the Dayton BW+. We were very favorably impressed with the accommodations and service provided. Check-in was done very efficiently, but also with courtesy and helpfulness. The whole facility was clean and very sharp. The room was well furnished and offered us a very comfortable place to rest after a long day of driving. Check-out the following morning was quick and pleasant. The breakfast was quite good, including the additional menu items offered by the BW+ properties. We began our trip for that day well rested and fed. The BW+ in Dayton, WA will continue to be a regular overnight stop for our frequent trips through that area of Washington.
I booked this hotel as our first stop on our trip to the coast. We were very surprised to find it fairly new. Extremely clean and easy to find. Beds were comfortable and bedding very nice. They had an average breakfast. The only disappointment is the bath towels were small and cheap. You put so much work into everything else you need to upgrade your towels.
This is our favorite Best Western in Washington State. The facility is new and the staff is excellent. The town of Dayton is quaint and a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is pet and kid friendly
Friendly, clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. I wish they gave the Government discount rate on Fridays and Saturdays though. The nightly price has been steadily rising over the last 2 years.
This Best Western Plus property was a treat! We travel to football games in Pullman, Washington, and have been unable to get hotels in Pullman for several years. Thank goodness we discovered this hidden gem! The employee service was great. The continental breakfast was standard Best Western Plus fare, served hot and stations kept well filled. A great place to stay!
This is our favorite Best Western. Several times now my wife and I have had dinner at Patit Creek and the night at Best Western Dayton. Hotel is very clean and cozy with the best breakfast of any of them.
Meeting room very nice. We were not there long enough to be able to take advantage of the facilities. Room was very comfortable and relaxing. Had a very comfortable chair to relax in, which most motels have a chair that is not comfortable to sit in. Breakfast was very good for a motel.
The BEST WESTERN PLUS Dayton Hotel & Suites is what one would expect from its Plus rating. Not more, not less, but on target. It has all the expected amenities, it is clean and quiet and the staff are pleasant and professional..
We found Dayton was a tired uninteresting town. The hotels were booked in Walla Walla so this was our only choice. But, the hotel was solid. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than some. I'd recommend the hotel but if it's wine tasting you're doing, try a different town. (Waitsburg looked cute.)
Great location. The hotel is fairly new. I think a few years at most. Clean rooms and pleasant smell. The staff members were very friendly and professional. Hot breakfast was a big plus. We used the pool and jacuzzi around 8pm and were the only ones there.
A warm welcome is always nice and this one was. We had an upper floor, very quite. Clean room and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was room was bright and the food very good. Check out was easy. Will definitely stay there again.
We had no idea what to expect when we stayed here en route from Ritzville and the Palouse Falls State Park in Eastern Washington to Portland. Thank goodness we decided to take it easy on our drive and stay here rather than press on to Walla Walla (though I'm sure that's a nice place too) for our overnight stay. This is a fabulous hotel: quite/feels quite new, friendly staff, superb rooms, and a diverse and fresh breakfast in a lovely setting. The whole set up far exceeded our expectations for Dayton. As an aside, Dayton also exceeded our expectations - it's a great, big little town. We plan to travel through Dayton again to get to Spokane just so we can stay at the BW Plus hotel.
We booked this hotel through a Groupon and was very pleased. Dayton is a beautiful, small town full of older everything but this newer hotel stands out. It's less than five years old and being well maintained, very clean. Don't expect great internet. Upon check in we found a letter in our room explaining that the internet issue is being worked on but because they are a rural community it is an ongoing issue due to service providers. Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we 've ever had and we travel a lot! Coffee, teas, juice, milk, cereals, yogurts, pastries, eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffle maker and a breakfast burrito bar. The breakfast staff was very welcoming and great at keeping everything clean and stocked. It's a smaller pool and a tad on the cool side for indoor pools but it didn't keep our kiddo out of the pool. The hot tub was nice and they have a beautiful backdrop outside the pool room looking over the town and rolling hills. They have a nice outside sitting outside as well. We would have like to see recycling in the rooms and better internet but the friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere in the hotel makes up for that. We will stay here again on follow up trips.
The best hotel staff! Everyone is upbeat, very helpful and friendly. If there is anything you need, just ask. It will be handled with a smile. The rooms are clean and cozy. The nicest Best Western Plus we have stayed at. The pool and hot tub are very refreshing.
Our stay at this Best Western Plus was great! We had traveled over 3,000 miles by the time we found ourselves in the quaint, historical town of Dayton and we were exhausted. Krista, at the front desk was awesome. She checked us in to a spacious, comfortable, pet friendly room with a king size bed - something that proved to be a luxury when traveling with a pet. She was very professional and intuitive to all the guests as she handled several check-ins while juggling phones, all with a smile on her face. I reached out to the manager to give credit to Krista and the entire staff. Breakfast was above and beyond any other Best Westerns we stayed at during our vacation, (6+) with varieties including build your own burritos and omelets. Dayton was a highlight of our trip and we have told many of our friends of this beautiful town with exceptional people.
While we found the hotel met the standard of Best Western, we learned that this hotel has a policy of charging guests up to $40/night more when they book a short time before the stay. In other words, the hotel who aims their product to travellers will penalize the traveller if they book the same day as arrival. In the future we will negotiate the room rate on the phone when reserving .. or, more likely, stay somewhere else. I feel we were taken.
Pet friendly. Beautiful exterior and interior. Quality furnishings and high quality breakfast. Reasonably priced. Staff are very accommodating. Parking and well-lighted at night. Immaculate landscaping. The setting of a small and historic southeastern Washington town of Dayton adds to the stay as out the front door you stroll Main street with its retro (historic rural Americana) shops and eateries. Outdoor recreation abounds in the area. We stayed during the fall when the beauty of the rolling hills of the Palouse were bursting in vibrant colors. One of the best hotels we have stayed in for all of a traveler's boxes to check and we highly recommend it to all seeking a pleasant stay and memorable times.
Clean, well run hotel. We will be using this hotel on our next trip through Dayton. Best Western Plus is usually our first choice when available.. we enjoy the consistent value we receive. Keep up the good work.
We decided to stay in Dayton this trip to Walla Walla Wine country and really enjoyed seeing new things and staying in a very nice hotel for a very nice price. This hotel seems fairly new and is attractive inside and out. It sits up on a hill with attractive landscaping and an inviting patio outside the indoor pool and jacuzzi area. The king room was a good size and included a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge. The bed was very comfortable and all the furnishings were clean and attractive. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and was hosted by helpful and friendly staff. In fact, all of the staff members we encountered were warm and helpful, and professional. We are enjoying trying out the various Best Western Plus hotels and finding them a pleasant discovery!
for a hotel breakfast buffet it was pretty good. Then a short walk into the historic downtown of Dayton, with interesting stores and some very fine restaurants. Room was new, clean and quiet.would stay again if in the area. Get there early or make reservations as they were full and turning people away fairly early in the afternoon even though there was no special events in the area. There are not many alternatives in the town.
In short we love this place. It is clean, quiet and reasonably priced. The staff is first rate and friendly. My only complaint before was I was unable to find peanut butter at breakfast/\\. Well turns out they had it, and still do!! Dayton is a unique little town that we just enjoy tremendously.
I had read an article about Dayton in the newspaper. The article influenced me to want to visit the town. When the opportunity came stop there as part of a road trip, I started a search for lodging and the Best Western came up as the best. It wasn't that they had much competition, because Dayton is very small and it had maybe two other places to stay at. Since the Best Western in Dayton is fairly new, the condition of rooms, lobby and grounds were in good shape and clean. If you don't want to spend a night in the big town, Walla Walla, then head down the highway to Dayton and stay at the Best Western.
My daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the hot tub and pool while I relaxed and read in the room with the dog. I was pleased to find enough gluten free breakfast selections to provide an adequate meal.
When I entered I thought the hotel had only just been built. It smelled new, it was EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN, the service was excellent. Our room did not have a single mark on the carpet, not on a single piece of furniture has a scratch, bathroom floor and surrounds were just like new, the washbasin was as new, all appliances worked A1, the curtains were as new, yet the hotel had been OPEN for 4 years!!!! I must commend this hotel as being the best in its category we have ever stayed in. Plenty of bananas for breakfast, and hot breakfasts with bacon, or frittata, or eggs and fruit and cereals and were always being filled. This hotel was right on top of everything. When i asked how it was that the hotel was so spotless the Front Desk told me that they had an excellent cleaning crew, an excellent Facilities man, and every member of staff was proud to look after the hotel. Outside it was spotless, not a piece of paper to be seen, the garden was watered and free of a single weed, it was a delight to stay there, and we will certainly recommend it to one and all.
This Best Western Plus is as good as it gets. We've stayed in many inferior hotels for a lot more money than this hotel. The rooms were terrific - superior cleanliness, well laid out, and comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and efficient.
Nice hotel great breakfast only reason i didn't give them a higher rating was the wifi is terrible if that was fixed it would be amazing they did have a note saying they are working on it so my next stay might be even better
A nearly new best western in Dayton. Very friendly staff and clean well appointed rooms. Breakfast was very nice. Spa and pool area clean and easy access. Close to town with great meal options. Would recommend. Close to Walla Walla wine country.
Excellent value, great accommodations, pleasant staff. I would highly recommend this hotel, we enjoyed our stay even though the fishing was not that good. Dayton is a wonderful community with a lot of good family activities to enjoy
We had the best time. Everything was so new and clean and the staff was wonderful and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was awesome and changed daily so we didn't get bored. We will definitely be back!
Staff, room, breakfast....all First Class, and in a small town in WA. Now a destination in the SE corner of the state. I have to drive 50 miles from there for anything comparable. This was a fishing trip with a friend, and we really enjoyed our stay.
We stayed here for a pleasure trip and were very pleased with the hotel, rooms and staff. Very clean well maintained property in all respects. In my opinion this Hotel should be given a Higher Star rating.
Very nice hotel. Check in person very friendly and helpful. Provided information about restaurants in the area. With travelers who were biking. Had storage available for bikes. Rooms are very nice. Great breakfast buffet. Would recommend.
Thought it was a bit expensive for a BW. Not many choices in the area. Only 4 yrs old, so still in very good shape. Housekeeping was good. Morning breakfast was ok for what it was. Lots of carbs plus ham (very good quality vs "formed" ham steaks) and eggs. The room was quiet and even though close to the elevator, we weren't bothered by it. Bed was really comfortable and everything worked, including the sink and tub drained well.
Dayton, WA is an amazing small town with incredible history dating back to the late 1800s and very alive today. Oldest existing courthouse in WA and Train Depot. 90 Historic homes. Very clean community with lots of character, nice eateries and very friendly people. Best Western is the place to stay.
My experience was very good from beginning to end. Th staff were always polite and friendly when answering my questions. Rooms were perfect with everything functioning as it should. The whole place was attractively decorated that reflected the work and recreation of the community around Dayton. Good selection of fresh breakfast foods.
Our stay at Dayton BW Plus was fantastic. The receptionist was friendly in providing us with our requests. The price was exceptional with discounts. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was enjoyable. However extra blessings to the maid that cleaned our room and found my diamond earrings in the drawer and turned them in to the front desk. I had checked the drawer once and my husband had checked the drawer again and we didn't see them so she had a good eye and was truthful for turning them in. Fantastic management. THANK YOU.
Beautiful property in historic Dayton, Washington. This new hotel offers all the amenities and a decent hot breakfast which varies from day to day. I traveled here for an educational conference in August 2016 and brought along my wife and two young daughters. The customer service was horrible upon check-in. I brought in a paper e-voucher I printed off the computer. I called first and was told over the phone to "just bring it in" and they would work it out. Then upon arrival they were so confused I was told, "I've never seen a paper voucher before" by the front desk lady. Then for the next 45 minutes I was given the run around and finally had to call the Rewards hotline myself to get a straight answer. In the end, instead of having a true free night, I had to pay $30 out of pocket and the rep "added' a few more points as a courtesy. Come to find out my voucher was only good for 12,000pts and the Dayton hotel was a 20,000 point property. Would have been nice to know this over the phone. My two young daughters were very patient as we all waited near the front desk during this debacle. The front desk lady was so bewildered it was very irritating. She made no apologies and literally acted like she had no power to do anything. After I hung up the phone with the Rewards I paid for my first night and the extra $30 for the second night, which I had thought was going to be free. WARNING: Best Western Rewards fluctuate between 8,000pts and 40,000pts. The email vouchers they send you are only good for so many points and only at certain properties. I had no idea this was true until this unfortunate encounter. The Dayton property is average for amenities, clean because it's only 3 years old, but definitely not worth 20,000pts a night. For 20,000pts I would think breakfast would be served by someone with a smile and not a constant frown who never looks at the customers. It's obvious the employees are not happy or trained like other Best Westerns I've stayed at. 3 stars on hotel - 1 star on customer service.
This is a fairly new BW hotel . Staff are extremely helpful, courteous and meet every need. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The free breakfast has a variety of hot and cold food choices. I always enjoy my stay here.
People of this hotel went out of their way to guarantee that our stay was better than being at home -- yet the at home feeling. It was extremely clean, most comfortable. The bed was sooooo comfortable. My husband and I felt like special guest in one's private home. DO NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE -- no disappointment pending ever.
The Best Western was a very nice experience. Rooms clean and staff super friendly. Not much else to say. Newer hotel and is very clean and has a nice location. The girl at the front desk was cheerful and fun to talk with. We would stay here again if we do more business in Dayton.
We were warmly greatly by Eleanor who happened to be the GM. We stayed in room 343 on August 22 and 23. Had a king size bed which was so comfortable for us. Room was of good size with a nice comfortable chair and ottoman plus a business table and chair. Enjoyed the pool area and the lovely patio that they have outside of the pool area. No complaints about the breakfast. Because we stayed on a Monday and Tuesday all the museums in the area were closed. Oh well, maybe next time. We hope to come back to this quaint town and hotel.
This is an xcellent property, and the staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. This is a fairly new property and everything is in tip-top shape. The rooms are large and very comfortable. It is within walking distance of several excellent restaurants.
This is a well situated hotel just a few blocks from from the main drag. Our room was clean and modern. The pool and hot tub were nicely located next to an outdoor patio. We have absolutely no complaints, this is s good value and they operate a very efficient and we'll run hotel. The breakfast was no so good but there are a few nice restaurants down the street if you prefer a better meal and don't mind paying for it.
This hotel has the most comfortable beds and pillows. It is a newer hotel. We've recently stayed at Aria and this hotel honestly is better in terms of comfort, cleanliness. We've been coming to Dayton twice a month and the hotel is consistently clean with friendly staff. We value peace and quiet which we get here. Breakfasts are great. The room also has a fridge and coffee maker.
Beautiful small town vibe. Quiet, close to Walla walla, with plenty to eat, and drink in its own rite. Rooms are well done, and staff is friendly, and efficient. We only stayed for one night, but would gladly do it again. Parking is good, and it is easy to find.
This hotel is relatively new, 2-3 years and excellently maintained. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. My wife and I arrived with special needs after just being involved in an accident and the staff went out of their way to get us extra pillows, blankets, and more to help minimize our pain from our accident. Breakfast was good.
Very nice lodging for a small, out of the way area. I would highly recommend this hotel if you find yourself anywhere in the Dayton, WA area. The rooms were clean, laid out well, quiet. The staff were very professional and accommodating. The location was just what we were looking for (remote but close to larger towns) and we were just a short distance from a great place to view the meteor showers.
The Best Western in Dayton, Washington is fairly new and exceptionally clean. The check in and out was fast and easy and the parking lot is large and has easy access to all doors. The room we used had a very comfortable King bed, mini fridge, microwave and a quiet A/C unit that I could actually set at a constant comfortable temperature! The breakfast was adequate, fairly consistent with most BW's, waffles, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, etc. We stayed two nights on business and did not use the pool or gym equipment.
Great place to stay. Clean rooms and lobby. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast pretty good. Kids had a great time swimming. Great location to take a morning walk downtown and checkout the shops.
I stay here at least 3 or 4 times a year, when visiting relatives in the Dayton area. I have come to know most of the staff, and enjoy being greeted like a member of the family when I arrive and leave. This Best Western is really a gem and I can not think of another place I would even consider when in Dayton!!
This is my second stay at this property in less than two months. Because I mentioned our anniversary on the reservation, the hotel had a greeting card and gift in our room. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The desk clerk provided us with a list of restaurants in town with times and days they are open. They also provided us with a card that got us a free desert at the restaurant we chose. I would not hesitate to stay here in the future. The room was large and the bed comfortable.
Great place to stay in a beautiful town in eastern Washington. This hotel was spotless. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was your standard hotel self serve kind. it was very quiet , with a nice pool area as well.
When our grandson was selected for the state's baseball all-star team, I was excited to learn that Dayton was in route to the tournament. My husband and I had driven thru Dayton years ago and I remembered it to be a place that I wanted to come back and stay. I was also thrilled to learn that it has a Best Western Plus. The location was perfect to walk the town, have a bite to eat and then come back and rest in the comfy beds they offer. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Enjoyed the next morning also with the great selection of food they offer for a free breakfast meal. Highly recommend the experience to another traveler.
Wedding got evacuated due to fire, had almost 200 people, all met at BW in Dayton. The lady at the desk turned a disaster into a special event, calmed everyone, arranged the banquet room, the manager came in on her own time to clean last room for Bride and Groom. They saved the day, turned tears into smiles. These 200 people will never forget these people or this Hotel, totally #1.
Melody got us checked in efficiently, and answered all our questions about local food and tourist attractions. The facility is outstanding, clean and conveniently located. We were pleased with every aspect of our stay among friendly hosts.
Quiet and sits in a quaint and lovely little town. Very clean. Easy access for my business trip. Will certainly use this hotel again when I travel to this location for business. Recommend this hotel to travelers.
Great hotel, centrally located in Dayton, Washington. Nice, clean, updated public and continental breakfast areas. Great pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Lots of parking and room was clean, fresh, nice bedding and amenities.
Very nice motel, very friendly staff, great curb appeal, nice and quiet and clean.Very accomodating to motorcyclists. A great find in a small town. Easy walking to several restaurants from upper crust to brew house & pizza. We will be back!
Staff very friendly and helpful. clean. comfortable. would definitely go here again and possibly make it my destination. had a pet. nice location in town. right on main road, but traffic noise did not bother me at all.
I stayed for 3 nights while in town for a family event. This wasn't my first visit to this hotel, nor will it be my last. I've always experienced great service, clean & spacious rooms, quiet hallways, friendly service, and a delicious breakfast in the lobby here.
We come every year for Dayton All Wheels Weekend. The rooms are clean the breakfast is actually edible and the employees are polite, helpful, & personable. Especially the gal at the front desk in the evening
We have stayed at the Best Western in Dayton many times. We have never been disappointed and are always well taken care of. All staff are pleasant, helpful, and genuine. The rooms are spotless. You will not be disappointed!
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and we enjoyed the breakfast! This newer hotel also has pretty grounds, with a nice outdoor sitting area. We'll definitely stay here again.
We always stay here for the Buck Branaman clininc. It is clean, super nice beds and great breakfast and the staff is personable and pleasant like a small home town business. I love that small home town feel this hotel has.
We stayed here on a bicycle tour. Desk staff were cheerful and helpful. The room was decorated nicely. Bed is very comfortable. View from our window on the 3rd floor was beautiful looking out across the wheat covered hills. The hotel is quiet. This is a great place to stay in Dayton.
Stayed at this Best Western for a family vacation to Palouse Falls, excellent facility with a pool & spa that myself & kids enjoyed a nice outdoor seating area & good proximity to Palouse falls. The morning breakfast had a nice variety of food & well stocked, friendly helpful staff
Its a real surprise to find this quality motel in the lovely but small town of Dayton Washington (population @2600). Very modern, clean and well appointed. Ashley at the front desk did a great job--as did the rest of the staff.Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is better than average and the breakfast room is very comfortable. Indoor pool and hot tub are good. A plus for bicycle riders is a secure room to keep your bike. They outdoor patio is large with a gas barbecue and lots of seating and umbrellas. Great place to watch the sunset. Dayton itself is charming and has a couple of good restaurants.
We found the hotel to be very clean and well maintained. The rooms were modern and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast is the basic best western breakfast. We would request more variety (juices, pastries, breads, etc). This is in a small town with one traffic signal where the local bars have last call at 9 PM. The only store we found was a convenience store/gas station next door. We would stay here again.
This is the most clean and well maintained hotels in which I have ever stayed. The rooms are large very clean. The breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast. The location is within walking distance to several local restaurants.
Everything was great about this hotel! My only complaint is that breakfast is served at 6:00 am and that is when i have to be at work. It would be nice if this hotel were able to accommodate earlier work schedules.
We were in town the for a family emergency on 6/5. Even though we showed up looking a mess from our long drive in 100 degree weather the cool air conditioned lobby and friendly staff were very welcoming. This hotel looks brand new but the staff informed us it was a few years old. The grounds, furnishings, rooms, pool, bedding, and bathrooms are all modern/up to date and still look brand new to us. Next time we visit, hopefully under better circumstances, we will definitely stay here again.
I had never been to Dayton, WA before. The hotel is fairly new. The staff was friendly and competent. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast served had several choices that should satisfy everyone. The food was good. I would not hesitate to stay here when I am in this area.
The hotel looks brand new, however, the staff said it was several years old. It has been keep extremely clean and attractive. The staff was very pleasant and helpful about what to see in town. Dayton is a small town, kind of off the beaten path, however, it is a wonderful place to visit.
Newer hotel, spic n span throughout. Excellent full breakfast and large seating area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy ingress & egress from the parking lot and plenty of space to park. Always quiet, an enjoyable place to stay. I'll be back.
The people were great, the room was wonderful with great beds, the breakfast was nice--so glad we stayed there! The town was nice also but it was the beautiful Palouse area that drew us there, and the motel had pictures in their lobby to support the draw to the area.
The place was new, up to date, clean, and modern. I loved the country/farm decor throughout the bldg too. Service was exceptional, but then again that's what country folk are all about right? Will come back again for certain!
We really enjoyed out stay hotel was clean updated breakfast was great staff friendly and knowledgeable great parking nice place to visit. Friendly town I berry much enjoyed my stay I will be back soon
The hotel had a lovely staff, yummy breakfast every single morning we were there, nice small pool and hot tub, comfy beds. Recommend eating dinner at the Winehard cafe just down the street. Delicious!
This property is fairly new, extremely clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The courtyard was very nice and the grandkids enjoyed the pool. Our breakfast on Sunday was very good. My only criticism would be to have better breakfasts, more variety of pastries.
From the first encounter - via phone reservations - the folks were awesome. Details ironed out easily, changes made. The room was clean, the coffee pot and microwave worked! Breakfast hot and yummy. It was just an overall great experience.
...... A GIANT BLACK HAIR! See pic. Room had no bath mat. My towels were just set on counter. Another black hair found in shower. Apparently housekeeping forgot to finish the bathroom. The rest of the room was very clean. A/C worked great. The floors are kind of thin and I heard the movement of folks upstairs as they simply walked around. If on upper floors, get a room at the east end so you can take the stairs instead of growing old waiting for an extremely slow elevator. If you're on the west end there is a lot of pool noise if kids are whooping it up. This place seems to be a real hit with the Harley crowd. One guy went out at 6:15am, started his very loud bike and let it idle while he smoked a cigarette, then turned it off and went back inside. Thanks for the wake up rumble (NOT.) You have to ask the front desk for body lotion. Breakfast was better than average and very well attended. The black out curtains in my room didn't close completely and let morning light in. If you like strong coffee, this is your place! If you want creamers, they have good stuff in the lobby. They also leave their juice machine on all the time...nice! All in all, a good place, I believe my dirty bathroom was a rare mistake. I would stay here again.
My second stay at this hotel and again my experience here was excellent. Helpful staff and an easy walk to quality meals in this charming, historic town. Great breakfast and all in all a very comfortable stay once again. We were on a 16 day motorcycle trip, and my husband was surprised and elated to find a hose, bucket of soapy water and towels set up behind this hotel. He immediately put these to good use. What a thoughtful service to provide for guests.
everything was perfect. the town as well. its new. quiet. and one of the most beautiful morning settings.. waking up looking at the rolling hills is stunning. again the hotel is new so its clean and easy to feel good.
This hotel is relatively new and is immaculately clean. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Facility has a large breakfast area and provides a decent selection of food option for the included breakfast. The location is ideal for photographing the Palouse between Dayton and Walla Walla, wind farms 8 miles north of Dayton, and Palouse Falls about 1 hour northwest of town.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Nice breakfast, well kept. I used the spa and salt water pool, plus seating is available outside. An easy walk to the charming downtown area.
Dayton is a wonderful little town in the gorgeous Palouse country of southeastern Washington. We make a spring trek to the region every year, and staying at this great Best Western is a fixture in our plans.
I selfishly would like to rate them a 1 so they won't get busy and I won't be able to get a room there but seriously, great hotel. Clean, quiet, indoor pool, gym, good breakfast and wonder staff. We will stay there again.
Fine hotel, great little city, beautiful countryside. Great place for a weekend getaway, or a stopover on your way to Missoula. Dayton is being discovered. (No, I am not a member of the Chamber of Commerce. I don't even livre in Washington or Oregon.)
Dayton is a little gem ... hotel was very nice and the restaurant recommended was superb. Enough going on that it deserves a look see. Would suggest that staying in Dayton when you visit Walla Walla is a smart move.
Great place. Really like staying here. Kids love the pool and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast we had was good. Clean rooms. Close to the tucannon river canyon. My only complaint is it is kind of high priced for the area but its definitely the best in town.
The motel had beautiful landscaping, great rooms, great service and breakfast was fresh and varied. Manager offered extra service to allow us - after service and checkout - to change to travel clothes....nice.
For forty years we have traveled through Dayton en route to family. This is the first time we have had to spend the night and this hotel was a lovely respite from the road. The hotel is fairly new but was in the process of replacing the carpets. No work was going on during our stay but it was refreshing to see updates occurring to such a new property. The hotel sits on a slight knoll in town. We were a bit concerned that we would hear traffic but once inside that is a non-issue. The room was a generous size and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice selection of pillows. The room included a desk and chair as well as a comfortable chair and ottoman. The pool and patio area are a great place to kick back at the end of the day. The pool and spa are indoors. However there is a comfortable patio area with tables, chairs, lounges and even a fire pit. The surrounding landscape makes this a lovely spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. There is also a delightful exercise room with state of the art equipment and even room to spread out to stretch or do a bit of yoga. Breakfast was generous and the breakfast room itself is delightfully bright and welcoming. This facility is really lovely and I would absolutely stay here again.
This hotel was quite well taken care of, being only about 2 years old, but what was most noticeable, was the staff. Great front desk help (Kristan), Great breakfast lady, who kept everything working well, and being totally prepared. Room was very clean, very large, slept 3 adults w/o a problem/ l would highly recommend as a great place to stay in that area.
Best Western Plus in Dayton Wa. is located in a beautiful area of Washington state. Very good driving conditions, well maintained roads. Many roadside attractions. Wonderful for winery tour. Many interesting restaurants an opportunities for shopping. The location of this hotel, is delightful, offering a view, from a hill top, of the surrounding area. The grounds of the hotel are well planned and well maintained. Very clean ~ very pleasant and helpful staff.
We really loved the ability to sit outside with the gas fireplace. The room was very nice, and clean. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Good breakfast, nice dining room. Like the kurig machine in the room.
This is one of the nicest Best Western hotels we've stayed at anywhere. Comfortable, clean and great staff. Dayton is a very small town but a lot of fun to visit. Check out their old fashioned downtown. Also the Bluewood ski area is close by.
This was our 2nd stay at the BW Dayton. It's a new motel/hotel with all the amenities. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The only weird thing is the TV is at a 90 degree angle to the bed. It's impossible to lay in bed and watch TV, The included breakfast bar is well supplied with items including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, etc. Beware of the weekend room rates. It's much more expensive on Friday and Saturday nights.
We've stayed at more expensive, but my kids say this is the Nicest Hotel we've ever stayed in. We have 4 kids including a baby. This place accommodates every need for our Family with a smile! Truly great customer service and a really comfortable, clean stay w Nice Amenities. The best warm breakfast we've been provided from anywhere too!!
Stayed here for a weekend. The room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice complimentary breakfast. Everything is modern and up to date. There is not a lot in Dayton and this is undoubtedly your safest bet.
We love to visit Dayton, WA to visit with family but also all of the fun shops and historical places. The hotel is situated close to the main part of town, if you are a walker, and it has lovely views from the comfortable windows. We thank you for your friendly people and clean hotel.
I come to Dayton at least twice a uyear if not more. I have been coming to this Best Western since they opened. I stay here so much, that I feel like I am at my home away from home. The staff are the friendliest around, and the property is great. Never had a bad room here. Beds are always great. They have not only a pool and spa area, but a great BBQ area. Always plenty of parking. I have been here twice already this year, with another trip planned for August.
Have stayed here before and it is clean and quiet. Dining is within walking distance and there are several options. Granted there are not really any other lodging places in town. Dayton has a very appealing small town feel to it. The townsfolk we interacted with were all warm and friendly.
Loved staying at the Best Western Plus in Dayton for the Bluewood Bash. We enjoyed dinner at Patit Creek. We had great access to the town and only a short drive to the lifts. Beautiful day with the family.
great room, nice hotel comfortable bed , nice good rate , just wished the fridge and microwave were bigger since there is not a lot to do or eat in small town of Dayton , but has nice atmosphere and the people are nice and friendly
We were in town for a friend's memorial service, having arrived after a more than five hour drive. Shortly after our arrival, we made the decision to stay an extra night, not wanting to make the long drive home starting out late in the afternoon. The ladies and one gentleman that worked Friday night through Sunday morning were fabulous. They accommodated all of our requests, including booking us for the extra night, asking about local dining, needing extra bath towels and coffee, and even offered to light the patio fireplace for us. We felt very comfortable at your hotel and greatly appreciate the hard work of your staff to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Thank you.
The room was quiet and peaceful. This is a newer hotel. The room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. Everything was clean and in working order. A great breakfast is included in the price. I will stay here again. We didn't use the pool but it looked great. Checking in and out was quick and easy.
Clean, quiet rooms make for a peaceful stay in Dayton. Only a short walk to restaurants and a convenient jumping off point for hiking or skiing in the area, the Best Western provides a welcoming get away for us and our dog every time. The breakfast is the only thing that was distasteful, but it's about like any other hotel's breakfast. Half the hot food was missing or limited and what was there was rather soggy. The non-hot foods were fine, though extras like syrup and plastic silverware had to be asked for. Next time I think we'll hit up the bakery down the street.
This place is always a great stop. It's new, clean, and has a very friendly staff. The town of Dayton shuts down pretty early so if you're planning on dinner out on the town make sure you arrive at a decent hour.
Very pleasant stay in a clean and friendly hotel! Easy check in, a nice pool and exercise room...and a great 'beyond continental' breakfast in the AM. The rooms are fresh and comfortable. I even received a nice note from the cleaning staff.
Great hotel, very clean & very quite. Hotel personnel was very professional and helpful. I've stayed in many hotels and this one has been the best experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a down to earth kind of place.
Great hotel to stay at. Rooms are clean and well kept. The check in/out was very pleasant. They were busy, but very thoughtful for everyone waiting. Would recommend staying here for personal or business.
Located only 45 minutes from Palouse Falls, this is a great jumping off point for any of the hikes and site-seeing opportunities in the area. Not too far from the Tri-Cities if you need city night life, but for some R & R after a long day of photographing the area, this place checks all the boxes!
Stayed at this hotel for two nights in order to ski locally. Found the accommodation to outstanding in every regard. Clean and friendly with amazing breakfasts...creative and delicious every morning. Also got big savings with their ski package. Highly recommend!!
Super clean. All new. Awesome breakfast. Nice helpful people. Good desk area for working. Bath and Body Works soaps. Only bad thing was no tub in the bathroom. Shower only. Microwave, coffee pot and refer.
Great hotel in a great little community! We loved our stay! We will definitely do it again! Had some great little restaurants downtown Dayton. They where all very kid friendly. My family had a great get away!
Have stayed here at least once a year for work since the hotel opened. Staff is very helpful and the rooms are great. I just stayed in a room by the elevator and thought I would be able to hear the elevator, but I never heard it at all.
This hotel is fairly new and is very welcoming from the decor to the staff. Very clean facility, comfortable beds, great amenities, lobby even has a fireplace with plenty of sitting area to relax. Great for a business stop, or to stay during an outing to the historical town of Dayton or the surrounding attractions like Bluewood ski area, Waitsburg, and Pataha Flour Mill.
We stayed as family and friends to ski at Bluewood over new years this year. The hotel is newer and so everything was nice and modern. The hospitality was good and the typical hot continental breakfast is always loved by the kids.
Very nice hotel throughout. Clean, updated. We stayed in a suite with king bed. Nice big tv with a ton of channels. Perfect place to stay before a ski day at Bluewood. Breakfast was good with hot and cold items.
My wife and I stay at the B.W. in Dayton when we go to Ski Bluewood. It is the closest hotel to Ski Bluewood and the nicest one in Dayton. We have stayed here several times since it opened. The hotel is clean, rooms are clean and well appointed. Pool and hot tub area are clean, well stocked with towels. Fitness room has the basics for a workout. Breakfast is well stocked and surprisingly very tasty for the type of food. The staff has always been very nice and helpful.
Great staff, very friendly. Pool time was great. Breakfast food was typical, and plentiful. Tables were clean, no issues. We stayed in a suite, lots of room and it was C L E A N. Easy to find on east edge of town on hwy 12. This place can be busy on the weekend.
Extremely nice hotel highly recommend the staff were all very friendly breakfast was well prepared very clean in the eating area. Rooms are very nice outside sidewalks and parking area well maintained it had just snowed efficient in snow removal.
Very gracious staff from the moment we arrived! Very clean room, comfortable bed and a refrigerator and microwave too! We used the pool and hot tub. So nice to have it inside! Continental breakfast was great! Thank you !
This was out of the way, from our norm, but I must say the softest bed I have stayed in next too my own, hey I even thought about taking the pillows with me, lolol this little bit of comfort is great when passing by and not ready for the long drive it's a must stop rest stop and the breakfast was better than the Marriott!!!
We stay at the Best Western Dayton WA each year right after Thanksgiving. It is our tradition to participate in the Christmas kickoff weekend. We love the hotel, it is so clean and cute. The decorations are adorable, rooms are clean and comfortable, It is a smaller hotel and has a cozy feeling. The breakfast is always delicious and the swimming pool area is the cleanest I have seen. Thank you for a great stay!! We will for sure be back next year.
My husband and I decided to get out of town. It's not usually an easy thing to do because we have pets. Thank God for the Best Western! We were not only able to get out of town and relax but bring the furbabies with us for the ride. The hotel was clean, comfortable and situated in the area of our favorite mountain destination. The breakfast was substantial and better yet, it was FREE! I would recommend in heart beat. As a matter of fact, we will be going back in a few weeks. :)
One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Staff was friendly and professional. Lobby and rooms were exceptionally clean. Beds were comfortable. Had a good night sleep. Great breakfast on top of all that. Thanks Best Western Dayton, WA
My wife and I enjoyed the King Suite. It was very large with a comfortable sofa, chair and TV. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was very courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.
Looking for a nice getaway in Dayton Washington?! This hotel is top notch! It's brand new, nicely appointed and has a great staff! Clean, comfortable rooms, a wonderful pool and spa area and it's within walking distance of historic downtown. What a great spot!!
My check in was quick, and there was another employee coming on shift, and she offered to take my bag in. I declined, but I appreciated that she was willing to do that. All staff that I interacted with during my stay were cheerful and helpful. My room was clean, and no sound penetrated into the room. Sleep quality was great. The bathroom amenities were sparse, but were of high quality. There was a Keurig coffee machine in the room, with 2 pods. Very nice. The breakfast was very good, and I was particularly impressed with the salsa fresca that they had for the breakfast burrito bar.
Our expectations were the middle of the road since this hotel is located in a very small town. What we found was a very new facility that was a pleasure to stay in. The staff was very nice and helpful.
All rooms are open for people with dogs and people with animal allergies have no recourse. I was not told a thing when I reserved two rooms for three nights. By the last night I was totally miserable with allergies.
I didn't know what to expect with regard to a Best Western in a small town. I thought maybe it would be a tired hotel with not much to offer, but I was pleasantly surprised. The property was very well maintained and extremely clean which is a big plus for me. It compares with some of the more high end places I have stayed in the past year in large cities.
very clean very nice staff very helpful the hotel was new and they offered excellent service and breakfast to go if you were departing before breakfast was presented in lounge. i would stay at this hotel anytime that I'm in town. the elevator was a little slow but served the purpose. the stairs were at the end of the building making it a little difficult to use to access from elevator if you were in a hurry other then that it was excellent Thank you.
If you are someone who stays at Best Western Hotels, then you know what to expect. They are generally clean, comfortable and a good value for what you pay for. This Best Western in Dayton is above that. First, it is beautifully constructed and well maintained. Our room was beyond our expectation in comfort, which I have never written on a BW review before. The breakfast was really good and just a step above any other BW we have been to. Highly recommend!
Very clean, spacious and staff always ready to be helpful. Dayton is a delightful town. Would recommend this Best Western Plus to all types of travelers. Lots of fun shops, great coffee and hospitality in Dayton!
The Best Western in Dayton, Washington is very clean and quiet, and the service from the staff was very good. We especially enjoyed the very modern pool and hot tub facilities with a great view of the surrounding hills! The free breakfast was also very good and included do-it-yourself breakfast tortillas.
This was a nice clean hotel with friendly staff! Very affordable! We were here for a wedding and very happy to find out there was a hotel in town. The last time we were in Dayton we had to stay in Walla Walla and make the drive each day. If our travels ever take us to Dayton again, we will be sure to stay here again!!
We had not thought about staying in Dayton, but I am real glad we did. It was a great stay at a very nice hotel. The staff was GREAT!! The stay was GREAT!! Highly recommend this hotel!! There are also some real gems for eating in Dayton also.
Overall, great place to stay. Clean rooms, great breakfast and internet use. Coffee in room or in dining room. Rooms quiet and beds comfortable. Had to unplug a noisey frig' on the last night, but no biggy. Staff very accommodating. Will be back!
Had a nice stay at the BW in Dayton. Came with several friends on a Harley ride. Warm Cookies would have been nice as we were so hungry when we got there. I thought all BW had fresh cookies at check in. Other than that, it was a nice stop over on our way to Oregon.
