    « Wonderful Stay! »

Stayed here for 4 nights while in the Boston area for vacation. Pretty easy to find. Staff was wonderful, extremely helpful. One night we heard a beeping noise that got louder the closer to the bathroom you got, and didn't hear it in the hallway until we went down to the main floor and heard it loud in one of the unoccupied rooms. We told the front desk, they investigate and fixed the problem. Rooms were clean, and pretty spacious. The market with snacks and drinks were priced very good. If we're ever in the Boston area again, this would be our go-to hotel

    « Just fine. »

Clean room and comfortable beds, a little noisy early in evening but settled down by 10pm. Staff were pleasant. We didn't realize when booking online that we were getting a garden level room - the hotel is on a hill so there are several. Nothing wrong with our room at all, but something to be aware of when booking if you would prefer to avoid it.

« Great stay! Great property! »

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus in Danvers. The staff was friendly and helpful both in booking our stay and during our stay. The breakfast was great and our grandson loved the pool. The update to the property is unbelievable. It was a great stay.

« This hotel was comfortable and attractive. »

Enjoyed our stay and it was well located for what we wanted to do in the region. I will include Best Western in my future choices of hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easily accessible from RTE. 1.

    « Excellent choice! »

First time staying at this hotel and pleasantly surprised. Was in the area for a youth basketball tournament at Danvers Indoor Sports and this property (set up on a nice hill) was only 6 minutes away. Rooms were nice size and beds were very comfortable; got a great weekend rate, which also made this a no-brainer. The hotel offers a very good free breakfast buffet and there are also numerous restaurant choices within 5 minutes. Indoor pool available, although I didn't use it. Staff was very friendly and check-in was easy. SIDE NOTE: During some free time, took a gorgeous drive through the lovely towns of Ipswich and Gloucester (20 minutes away) and got some killer scallops at J.T. Farnham's in Essex.

    « Best Stay »

Everything was great, love the breakfast area lot of choice to eat and drink in morning, Room were clean, made it time. Staff was excellent since we got their. Room was Clean. Coffee was available 24 hours.

« Excellent accommodations and attention for our large wedding group! »

Jill Granger and all the staff were very helpful with arranging 40+ room reservations and function room rental for our large wedding group. Many rooms were available for early check in and all perfectly clean. The breakfast buffet had many delicious offerings and the pool area also great. The hilltop location and lovely green landscaping gives BWP a quieter advantage over busy Rt 1 traffic and congestion. Overall a great choice for groups or individuals enjoying activities and events North of Boston.

« Great Place to Stay »

I loved this hotel!!! Nice, clean, spacious rooms. Great breakfast & the staff was excellent. We arrived late on a Friday afternoon & the staff set us up with a great room & greay rate. I would recommend this establishment to anyone as business or pleasure. Five stars from me.

    « All good »

Room was very clean. Beds comfortable. Hotel within 20 minutes of downtown. Staff was friendly. I do wish the firepit was open. I would stay here again if I was visiting Boston on a budget. I always rely on reviews when booking. You can rely on this hotel to be clean and affordable. No motel 6 here.

    « Clean, comfortable »

My only complaint would be the awkward road/driveway access. Clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Rooms are big, not cramped. Pool is nice, no hot tub. Breakfast was good, waffles, eggs, sausage etc. Coffee/Tea available in lobby all the time.

    « Clean, Quiet, Relaxing »

Great Hotel to stay at. Room prices were good. Rooms are bigger than most. Location was convenient. Staff and services were polite and professional. Good hotel for business or leisure. plenty of food establishments in the area.

    « Best western »

Very nice hotel, a little pricey, good breakfast, great staff, comfortable beds, large rooms, very clean! This hotel was in a great location, close to Salem and Boston and only an hour to Plymouth. I would recommend it.

    « Wonderful night »

Hotel easy to find, close to highway. The room decor was pleasing, staff very helpful and friendly, room extremely clean, bed comfortable so got good night's sleep. Extra blanket available in room. Recommend to anyone

« The Most bang for your buck »

The most pleasant experience ever at Best Western. Super clean and extremely nice front desk personnel. I flew in from Georgia for a wedding in Beverly Mass. Had about 3 hours before check in. I called and explained my situation and asked the front desk clerk if there was any way I could check in before then and to my surprise, she replied yes. I was tired from the working all day and waking up a 3am so I could catch a 5am flight. Needless to say, this made my stay very enjoyable.

    « Comfortable »

Stayed 4 nights recently. First night, had group of young adults next door to us that were loud into the early morning hours. Asked to be moved, but hotel was sold out. Dealt with it and little sleep. Next few nights were quieter and more comfortable. Beds were comfy. Hotel clean. Breakfast buffet nice. Housekeeping nice.

    « Wonderful Stay »

Lovely hotel. Very clean and quiet. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. I did not try the free breakfast as I was on a schedule so I can't speak to it's quality. Would definitely stay here again though regardless.

    « Very Nice Place »

Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very Friendly. The hotel was recently renovated so everything is new. There isn't anything bad to say about this hotel. I look forward to my next visit. It has a lot more amenities then comparably priced hotels in the area.

    « Great Hotel »

Staff was very friendly. My young son was not treated like he was nuisance. The hotel was very clean. The pool area was also very clean. We were very happy with our visit. My husband and I were very happy with the constant availability of coffee in the lobby and breakfast areas. We would definitely stay in this hotel again!

    « College Visitation »

Clean hotel at the right price. Did not use the pool this trip but the exercise room and equipment were wonderful. Location is great and easily accessible to all of the North Shore. I did overhear during breakfast that some of the 1st floor rooms had water leakage issues, but everything on the 2nd floor (you enter the lobby on the 2nd floor) was fine.

    « Danvers hotel »

We spent 4 days there with my 2 boys and it was absolutely wonderful.Friendly staff. Beautiful clean rooms beautiful gym and pool very cool overall experience but more than everything best breakfast ever. Vacon eggs sausages and all you can think of. Wow

« Pros and Cons - it might be ideal for you »

Pros: -location is close enough to Boston and train stations to make use of mass transit. -Clean rooms, spacious breakfast area. - Very good breakfast options. - Small but well organized bathrooms. - Wall thermostat control rooms. - Friendly, helpful front desk representatives. - Delicious cookies and coffee in lobby area ( free/ courtesy). - Pricing is modest to moderate. I paid under $100. Including tax using a discount. They have many discount programs, so it is worth asking. Keep in mind this visit was in Feburary, not tourist season. Housekeeping tip was left in cash in the room, not included in the amount paid. - Large rooms with refrigerator & microwave ovens, irons, coffee. - Indoor swimming pool is small but actually goes from 3 ft to over 6ft deep. It is a small section, but people over 6 ft won't be limited to splashing around at their waists. I did not notice a handicapped lift but their might be one. If it is needed, you might want to call ahead. - Parking is easy just load & unload in front so you don't carry up and down a small hill. Cons: - An indoor swimming pool is important to me.I called a day ahead to ensure it was not closed for repairs. I was assured it was open and in working order. Indeed it was...if you like swimming in cool water. This was so cold, even children who could easily be tempted to try the Polar Bear Plunge, tried swimming, came out, and would not return. I also tried the water to see if I could adjust. I could not. I contacted the front desk and was told it must be a malfunction because it should be 84 degrees & maintenance would be informed. We were only there for one night, so I do not know if the pool temperature was corrected. - No hot tub, to be fair, none is advertized or claimed in any way - Breakfast seating is made of very high bar -type seats or low setting seats, placing patrons inches closer to the table top than normal. - Mattresses are very firm. At least that was the case in Room 406. This was a big con for me but might be a pro for someone else. I do think for some, lodging here would be an ideal find. The friendly staff, light decor, and clean conditions, and pricing are commendable. I wanted it to be ideal for me and my family because we will be visiting this area for the next few years, but the mattress and pool are important and were ill suited to our needs.

« Beautiful budget option in Boston suburbs »

We stayed here again for 1 night since the place has been completed. The renovations they did are great and modern. Everything is brand spanking new. Front desk agents were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and standard fare for this level of hotel. I will definitely stay again when in the area, which is often.

« Worth it for NYE »

It was an very good experience at this hotel. Staff was very helpful. Bed was comfy with clean room, coffee make was a little wonky but I wasn't bothered. Breakfast had great variety and very large clean dining hall. The only negative was that to get best economy rate for a room was NON-REFUNDABLE double bed with two adults. Please read the details before booking your stay.

« Easy location for a nice hotel »

Stayed here NYE as a way to be close to Boston without the Boston price. Great decision, very easy to find and easy access. Clean throughout, comfortable bed including the pillows, friendly staff, breakfast was good with tasty and very hot coffee. Very happy with our stay.

    « Family trip »

It was a very nice experience. The hotel waa very clean and neat. I stayed here seven years ago, before it was renovated and now it is beautiful I love the fireplace in the front lobby. And it's nice having a couple places where you can get tea coffee and hot chocolate. The staff was extremely nice and helpful anytime day or night. The new breakfast area is extremely beautiful and tons of room.

« clean, bright and comfortable »

Hotel was clean, bright and comfortable. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good. Lots of choices. My kids loved the pool. The rooms were spacious and clean. Great overall value!

« Great and close to Salem »

Everything was fresh and new! Great stay! Staff was welcoming and helpful. Beds were clean and housekeeping was exceptional at this property. Breakfast room was clean and had a lot of choices to get you filled up and included in your nights stay!

« great hotel when staying on the North Shore of Boston »

Excellent location, easy off/on for the main highways. Completely renovated hotel with all the facilities one could need. staff are very friendly and I will use this hotel again when back in the area. Particularly liked the comfortable public areas.

    « Vacation »

This hotel was just updated and it was done very nicely. Outdoor firepit, indoor pool and fitness center were great. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. In a very convient location to restaurants, malls and major highways.

« An excellent three star motel »

Convenient location. Caring staff. Nice rooms. Great beds. Good parking lot. Free breakfast in a nice dining area. The reservation people were very accomodating. Overall impression we felt was quite positive.

    « Mixed feelings »

The room cleanliness could have been a little better. The room was serviced during my stay, but the bathroom door was spotted with "something" and never cleaned during my entire (4 day) stay. I loved the decor. There was a mix up when I tried to extend my stay. It was rectified after much ado. The water took a long time to heat up. The room seemed unable to go above 68 degrees, regardless of what I did to the thermostat.

    « Very cozy »

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this Best Western. It is newly renovated and an excellent value. The breakfast was included and had lots of choices. It is very conveniently located to Salem, Mass and other shore towns close by.This hotel offers a both a comfortable and affordable experience.

« okay for the price »

Stayed here to be near several colleges we were touring. Better than I expected for a best western and a decent value considering... The room was clean enough and comfortable... however the elevators BOTH broke while we were there, staying on the fifth floor. Just found them taped off with CAUTION tape and we had to drag our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast was the usual for this kind of hotel... I would stay again simply because it was $50 less than most of the others in the area and decent enough for our needs to make it worth saving the extra money.

« This place is awesome! »

My friend and I decided to check out Salem the week before Halloween. We booked this hotel while it was still being renovated. What a pleasant surprise! The hotel was clean, the staff helpful, and the beds comfy! Mary at the front desk was an absolute angel. Every hotel should be as lucky to have a personable, knowledgeable, and fun person greeting their guests and establishing the face of their brand. We would definitely stay again!!!

« Great value all around »

I went solo on a business/leisure trip around Halloween. I wanted to be near the Danvers/Salem area to promote my costumes and props. Danvers is near the highway and several high-traffic towns and cities, namely Peabody, Salem, and Boston and just about whatever you want...a train, museums, at least two major shopping malls, you can find it within a few miles of this location. Staff are friendly and easy to access and the hotel itself has just about everything...two desktop computers, decent internet, a patio with a fire, a fitness center with a pool, and best of food. Free coffee and cookies all the time and a free breakfast with no shortage of options. Hotel rooms are clean and allow for plenty of light and the cable is good. My favorite part? Approximately $2000 for a nearly-two week stay. For the length of time, location, the amount of free extras and level of service, it's a deal to die for. If I had stayed in Salem, I probably would have paid $500 a night. Thank you for a job well done, BW in Danvers!

    « Great experience. »

Nice and clean. Very satisfied. Best night sleep ever. I actually took a picture of the tag on the bed to buy one my self. I would deffinatley stay here again and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    « clean hotel »

Hotel has been recently remodeled. Nice decor. Comfortable beds. Good-sized room. Complimentary hot breakfast a bonus. Great value 15 minutes outside of Salem where you will pay double the price. Close to highway.

    « Nicely refurbished »

Great hotel that was been recent refurbished and has excellent staff. The bed was super comfy and the room was very spacious. Everything worked as it should and the place is very clean and tidy - there is plenty of free parking onsite.

    « Very good »

Stayed here for one night while visiting Salem, about 10-15 minutes drive from the town centre. Overall a very positive impression from the hotel. It seems to have been renovated recently meaning that the rooms feel fresh and modern, with big beds and up to date appliances. Service was good with complimentary hot chocolate/coffee/cookies, and internet worked well. Sleep quality was very good, so overall nothing I could fault in the room. Breakfast was good though not quite up to the quality of the room. Paper plates and plastic cutlery, not a lot of cooked choice though we are used to English breakfasts. There was fruit, breads and bagels, yoghurts, cereal, a waffle iron etc so still plenty of choice.

Staff is awesome, rooms are clean, smoke free ( area outside for that if needed). No pets, Close to Rt.1 and Rt.95 . Close to restaurant ( no bar or restaurant in hotel) little plaza close by hotel. Safe neighborhood, felt very comfortable here.

    « Excellent stay »

Everything looked nice after the remodeling. We loved the outdoor fire pit out back of building near the indoor pool. We stay at BW every year for halloween in Salem. Its a short trip and alot of stores along the way.

« Best hotel I stayed in the USA »

we spent 10 nights this trip. Best hotel this one. Staff were always friendly and available. The rooms were clean, comfortable and better than we expected. we would recommend the Bet western Plus in Danvers to everyone. definitely will visit there again.

« Comfortable, clean and safe »

The hotel was above average in the atmosphere presented and it felt like a clean safe place to spend the night. Lots of well-lit parking and very close to the highway (I95). The breakfast was good although not a lot of choice and served in comfortable dining area.

« Stay here when visiting Salem! »

Just a short drive to Salem MA without spending big money! Rooms are brand new with most comfortable new bedding and pillows. Professional clean staff and hotel! Keep up the Great work and continue to be on point with your customers needs.

    « Nice Motel! »

We were surprised to pay $150 a night for a Best Western, but it's Salem in October close to Halloween. The rooms are clean. Nice large televisions. Comfy beds. Friendly staff. A nice place to rest your weary bones and a short distance from Salem!

« Great place to stay »

Great place to stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to main roads. Hotel has been renovated with a fresh and updated feel. Breakfast was typical but tasty. Nice patio with fire pit to hang out at and just relax after a day of sigh seeing in the city.

    « Excellent Hotel »

I and 2 friends stayed at the BW Danvers for a girls get away. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel was fresh and clean, including our room. Breakfast was included and the food was good. Location was convenient to our travel plans. Overall good value, and I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay there again.

    « Salem visit »

Great location from Salem..clean comfortable room. The staff was very helpful in diner suggestions. They recommended a Chinese delivery that was perfect. We were tired and the food was great and they delivered right to our room. Nice outside patio with a fireplace.

« Really nice place and great price »

Clean, quiet, and large rooms. Nice filling breakfast included and coffee available round the clock. Nice staff, lovely and convenient location. After walking all day, I would have loved to soak my feet in a hot tub, but they only have a pool. My only complaint, no hot tub/whirlpool.

« Very good choice for the area »

On a road trip adventure with another couple and chose this hotel. Could not have been more satisfied. Hotel is new and spotless. Very good breakfast with usual selections but was well stocked and clean. Good location and great price for the area.

« Nice room great breakfast »

Our 2 queen room was enormous but the bathroom a bit small. The door to the bathroom barely cleared the toilet. It would also have been nice if the 2 bathroom lights were on separate switches. Having both come on in the middle of the night is blinding. Unfortunately we didn't arrive in time to use the pool , wish it were open a bit later. The elevators are tiny, maybe 3 people and luggage, no more. The breakfast was lovely, except for the "eggs". They had a beautiful seating area/ firepit outside, see the picture, didn't have a chance to use it as we were only there for one night.

    « BW Danvers, MA »

Hotel is clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and convenient location - however, I must say the walls and doors are thin - you hear everything. Also, the cost for this room for one night seems extraordinarily high by comparison.

    « Great hotel »

The hotel was very nice, modern and clean. We had a king size bed and it was very comfortable. There was a large breakfast area with hot choices along with the usual continental fare. (The eggs were fake and gritty though). The gym was well kept and machines were in good condition. The swimming pool area was also nice. We stayed here to because it was so much cheaper than the hotels in Salem.

    « Great stay! »

The hotel was clean. The decor was cute and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of options and had variations each day. This is a great hotel! It is about 30-40 minutes away from Boston, 20 minutes to Salem. It is very centrally located.

« very clean and impressed »

I have stayed here 3 other times in the past the new look is awesome the hotel is clean and staff very friendly very close to salem .this time we got lift or uber to pick us up and drive us in every day to salem best thing we ever did no worries about traffic or parking will def.continue to stay and recommend to my friends .

    « Perfect weekend stay »

Beautiful place, hotel inside and out. Great convenient location easy access to get back to the highway. Great pool too! Breakfast food/room was awesome. Nice, helpful very friendly staff. Safe area. Would definitely stay there again.

    « A close to venues hotel »

The hotel is close to a lot of the venues in the Boston metro area. Easy to get to from Logan airport. The hotel had lots of brochures of places to see and places to go. We enjoyed our stay in Boston and at the Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel.

    « affordable and pleasant »

staff are friendly, hotel has been recently upgraded. Breakfast is fine. beds not so comfortable....otherwise, great price for the amenities that are available. convenient access to city of Boston and within 15 minutes to ocean

« New and well kep »

The hotel has a very nice new look to it and has a very clean appearance. I loved the Clean Remote. Definitely showed good attention to details in lodging that is looking to be up to date. Breakfast was fine in fact more than I thought there would be. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.

    « Very Comfortable Stay »

We stayed at this hotel after a long ride back towards Boston. It was very comfortable with a nice, friendly staff. When I booked this hotel several months ago the photos I saw were completely different than the outside looks now so I believe they were recently remodeled. The hotel room itself was stylish with new furniture and decor, but parts of the room had a sloppy paint job which may bother some people but not me. The bathroom looked modern with a granite look in the shower/tub and sink. The staff offered coffee and cookies when we arrived and a gift bag of fruit and water when we left - which was a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel.

    « Great stay »

We had a great stay at this hotel. Its about 16 miles from Logan Airport. Good Italian restaurant close by as well as a gas station. Hotel is very comfortable, very clean and the staff is excellent. Didn't get a chance to utilize the pool or the gym. Close to Salem as well. You can see Interstate 95 from the hotel.

    « Vacation »

Great location was very quiet never heard the traffic convenient location to mall and many restaurants. Staff very polite accommodating. When we arrived our room was not ready the young man could see we were tired and instead of making us wait he offered us a king size room instead of the queen that was available for the same price as what we had booked. Great customer service. Fitness center is not big but very nice pool was great. Room was clean Hotel is not big so you get the small town feel which is nice. Breakfast great variety to choose from Overall I would definitely stay there again.

    « Recommend »

Would definitely stay again. Rooms were spacious, clean and very accommodating. Loves how they put cookies out on the eve with the coffee. Nice added touch. With the newly renovations you can not go wrong with the hotel. Highly reccomen. Will definitely go back

    « In and Out »

Just needed a place to stay to make an appointment in Boston next morning. Nice price and location. Just renovated lately. Nice experience. At the moment this is the sweet spot location and price to Boston.

« Very Clean, Professional, Caring. Excellent stay, I always return there. »

The rooms are always immaculate and I have been staying there for many years when I travel to Boston. The large Breakfast Room is stocked with a fresh and diverse assortment of breakfast foods. The computers in the Lobby and the Guides for Visitors are easily accessible. There is an atmosphere of pleasant quiet, and the desk staff are very helpful. It is located in a lovely area but close to restaurants and other main access routes. I see retirees, family reunion groups, students, many French speaking and it is a comfortable place for everyone. I have a family member who is Special Needs and who has autism and long time staff come over to greet him and sometimes there are cookies out. He is very comfortable there. I recommend this hotel for the location, cleanliness, and desk Staff and Managers.

    « all around caring »

We did not expect this level of caring at the nominal price we paid for the room. Just all around GREAT! The location was a bit hard to find but well worth it. Desk clerk was humorous ( so refreshing). Oh, and the 'cookies', superb.

    « Excellent hotel »

This hotel was clean and neat - the staff was friendly and welcoming. It looks brand new inside and out. The room was really nice - very clean and neat and well decorated. Everything was in great working order. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were especially nice. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

    « August 2017 Wedding »

While booking my August 2017 wedding in Ipswich, MA I reserved a block of rooms as well as a function room for out of town guests. I worked closely with Naomi and by closely I mean emailed every couple of months and showed up at the hotel to check on the status of the renovations. Naomi was always answered my emails right away and was very patient with all of my questions and requests. She even offered to hand out welcome bags to the guests the day of the wedding and display a schedule of our shuttle bus. I have stayed at Northshore Hotel in the past and I was eager to see how the renovations turned out. You will not be disappointed as the renovations really improved the value and appeal of the hotel. The rooms are huge and the hotel provides a complimentary breakfast. Thank you so much Northshore Hotel/ Best Western Plus and Naomi!

    « GREAT! »

I don't even know where to start! Everything was WONDERFUL! We had a king size bed that was incredibly comfortable, the room was spacious, had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and more! The continental breakfast had a variety of items including scrambled eggs, ham, and sausage! Very clean! Nice staff! The only downside is the fire alarm went off at 6AM and we watched the firetrucks struggle to get up the curves of the driveway...

« Good deal and location »

I recently stayed here and it looks like it has recently become a Best Western. They are going through some renovations, but that wasn't much of a distraction. The room was clean, pretty up to date and very quite. We weren't able to use the amenities based on the times they were open, but overall this was a good hotel and for the price I think it is the most reasonable in the area.

    « Renovations but quiet »

Despite the renovations going on, our room was quiet. It was quite spacious and comfortable. The check-in was quick and a relief from 10 hours on the road. We choose this hotel as nothing was available in neighboring Salem, but would stay here again if we wanted to explore Salem again as it's a short drive and much less expensive than Salem accommodations.

    « Great staff »

Great hotel. Staff was absolutely incredible. Very helpful w/ any request we had. Rooms are large and really nice. Clean. Great pool and a large bfast w/ soo many choices. I was super happy and will def come back. Location is close to lots of restaurants and shopping. T is only 15 mins away, so super convient
