    « Perfect for Columbus Events! »

    Stayed here while in town for The Justin Timberlake Show at Nationwide Arena. It's a 10 minute, $12 Uber ride to the venue in the heart of Columbus. Room was great, comfortable beds and clean. Breakfast was far better than most free hotel breakfasts. An Employee named Crystal made our stay quite memorable. I believe she was part of the custodial crew but went out of her way to accomodate us during breakfast. I so enjoyed her conversation and smiles it was hard to say good bye. I go to Columbus a few times a year and will be going back to this hotel to visit w my friend, Crystal!

    We love this hotel. It is extremely clean and the staff is friendly! The breakfast buffet is a nice bonus. What we really liked the best was the fact that it is close to downtown and very convenient if attending an event. The convention center was a simple 8 mile drive. We have recommended this location to many of our friends and family!

    We stayed here for Ohio State graduation. Family came from out of town. We couldn't have been treated any better!! Very clean and close to freeway and airport. Rojer, Krystal, Connie, John to name just few were cheerful and helpful throughout our stay. Beth really has a great crew and is a reflection of her.

    « Everything was absolutely awesome! »

    We were greeted by a very friendly staff and even though we were tired they made everything easy and painless. Breakfast every morning was always a variety and that made it interesting since I never know what I wanna eat. From the general manager to the maid service were friendly and always said hi, to me it's the small things that matter. Upon checking out that was also an easy process and I signed up to be a Best Western member. Some minor things like the plaster was peeling but overall y'all still get 5 stars.

    Nice place to stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Downside, room somewhat noisy. Street traffic and sirens annoying. Airplane traffic pattern over motel. Room a/c system could be improved. Bed was comfortable.

    « Excellent Staff at a Clean and Conveniently Located Hotel »

    Our experience at the Best Western Port Columbus was great. The staff and cleanliness make the place. We were in town for the Women's Final Four and chose the location to be away from all the hustle and bustle downtown. The Best Western is near the airport, yet only a 10 minute car ride to downtown. It was quiet, very clean, had a decent breakfast, and the staff were awesome.

    My husband and I were coming in to town for a wedding so I looked online for a hotel near the reception venue and found pricing online. I decided to call the facility to see how they named the type of room I was looking for and had a wonderful experience speaking with Rajer Brown, in their reception. He told me to book online if that suited me, but to call back and he would assure that I did it correctly and that I would be receiving just the type of room that we wanted. I did book online and called back to confirm. He worked with me and helped me beyond measure. What a great employee. They should be happy to have him.

    Stayed here for one night, nice Hotel, Pool was nice, but could use a litte scrubbing around the edges some mold is showing,Room was nice and clean,bed comfy, breakfast could have had a few more choices,but was ok,Staff was friendly.

    « Not What I expected »

    I gave them only three stars for a couple reasons but I will preface this review by saying one item WAS quickly taken care of. The good: The room was clean. I'm sure that is the most important thing guests look for. The location was convenient, right off the expressway and close to the airport. The first problem I had was the plunger in the sink. It was stuck in the down position and when washing my hands the water would not drain. I reach underneath the sink and was able to manually move the connecting arm up and down but the plunger still did not move. I mentioned it to the front desk on my way out to dinner and they had the issue corrected before I returned. THANKS! The not so good: The heat did not work very well. I had to turn the thermostat all the way up to 74 and the warmest it registered on the wall unit was 67. The room never got any warmer than that. (Granted it was pretty cold outside that night but the unit did not seem to be working correctly. The bad: The coffee pot in the room did not work. Yes it was plugged in. I added the water and it just wouldn't turn on. Since it didn't work I dumped the water into the seat and saw that maybe it was better that it did NOT work. Several pieces of "black stuff" poured out into the sink. Not sure if it was dust bunnies, mold or anything else but I was glad I didn't drink it. I did wander down to the breakfast area to grab a cup of coffee and brought it back to the room. Lesson learned - DON'T drink from room coffee pots anymore. Never know how long they might just sit there.

    « Fine Hotel but Avoid 115. »

    I spent the night here after moving my daughter to Columbus before flying back home. The hotel is fairly new and more upscale than typical Best Westerns. The staff was friendly. I deliberately left a couple of shirts because I had to use a carry on and was flat out of room. I should have left a note telling them to donate them. Someone called not long after checking out to tell me I'd left them. I did have a problem. It wasn't awful, but was kind of irritating. I was in room 115. Shortly after arriving, I heard a big clunk, then a big bang that sounded like it came from above. Then, it happened again. And again. First I figured kids were in the room above, but they must be awfully big kids, I thought. After it happened a few more times, I decided it must be a weight room. I went up and discovered it was a regular room. What could they be doing up there? I woke up a couple of times during the night and, again -- clunk, then bang. I was up by six a.m. and it happened shortly after awakening. I happened to be glancing out the window at that time and there it was. The room is next to the door leading to the rear parking lot. The clunk was luggage hitting against the door, then the door banged shut. That happened every time somebody walked out of the rear of the hotel with a bag. Without a bag, it just banged. They need to figure out how to have it close without a bang and maybe pad it to subdue the luggage clunk. Anyway, if you get 115, you might want to ask for another room if noise bothers you. Other than that, the hotel was great. Breakfast was typical hotel hot breakfast, which means it was good. I used WiFi to watch a movie on Netflix with no buffering. The shuttle to the airport left on my schedule. Recommended.

    I was going to book this room through a major search engine but I had questions. My wife an dc I were headed west and l needed to leave our car and l needed to know if tbe Best Western allowed this so i called them, the young lady was so helpful and accommodating l booked through her which included parking and a shuttle to the airport. When we arrived at the hotel we were upgraded to a King Jacuzzi room. The room was very nice, my only comment is the Jacuzzi was so large that it would take more than an hour to fill l mean it was gigantic. We arrived late and had to get up way to early so no Jacuzzi for us. The front desk gentleman was great at check-in amd at 4 am the front desk man and shuttle lady were great as well. We will definitely be back.

    Enjoyed the stay, always a relief to realize that your choice of stay wasn't a blowout or disappointment . Pet fee affordable! Staff was great, beds clean, bathrooms clean! Pool liner maybe time for fixing. Breakfast was a slight disappointment. Milk and juice not up to par but that's not too important. We will be back if ever in the area:) enjoying the Best Western Plus's!

    The gentleman who checked me in was absolutely wonderful. I'm an assistant manager at Best Western Plus Whitewater Inn and I must say I would be proud if he was one of my employees. Also, the ladies at checkout as always are delightful. They make sure that you had a great stay and are always so personable. All of the staff looked very professional! Great staff!

    The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Beth made it seem like visiting with an old friend. The rooms were clean. The pool was closed for maintenance. If we had planned to swim, would have been disappointed since we didn't know prior to check-in. Overall everything was excellent and I would recommend it.

    « Trouble with shuttle service »

    The hotel itself was fine. The problem we had was with the shuttle service back to the hotel. We were told that as long as we were in the airport before midnight we could call and be taken back to the hotel to pick up our car. Our flight was delayed but we arrived at the airport at 11:40 pm. My husband tried to call the hotel several times but there was no answer. He left myself and the kids to get a taxi to go get our car. Upon arrival at the hotel, he found the shuttle driver and front desk person chatting and drinking coffee. He asked why there was no answer and was told it was after 12 but it was not. He showed them the calls on his phone and asked to be reimbursed for the taxi ride but was told that was not possible. I feel that it the shuttle should run until the hours we were told otherwise we might have parked at the airport instead. I just did not like the attitude of the front desk.

    « Worst Stay Ever »

    Fire alarms (false) going off all night and extreme noise. Apparently there was some family reunion taking place and the kids and adults wreaked havoc over the entire hotel. Hotel staff did nothing to control. Hotel staff allowed the false fire alarms to go on multiple times all night, not allowing us to get any sleep.

    The staff here is so wonderfully friendly and helpful. Every inch of the hotel is spotlessly clean. Our dog is always welcome, and the pet rooms are located near the exit, which is super convenient. The complimentary breakfast is really good...so many tasty choices! The dining area is warm and inviting, and kept so CLEAN. We stop here when we drive from Illinois to New York, twice a year. It truly is like staying with a friend.

    ****DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL**** They will lie and say u smoked in ur room and will go as far to plant the evidence and say u smoked so they can charge ur CREDIT CARD AN EXTRA $250!!!!!     The front staff were very nice. Let us check in a little early since a room was ready. Put us close to elevator when I said husband had trouble with stairs - the elevator had been closed due to maintenance the day before and I asked if it was working. Room was clean. The pool looked nice though I did not use it. Had a nice exercise room. Breakfast was not too bad - eggs, waffles, ham, potatoes... Just be a little cautious of the back entrance. We came back from our visit and a car load of people were taking off, looking at us kind of weird. When we got to the back door, there was a piece of cardboard or something between the lock and door so they could get in without a key. We removed it and told the front person. Made me a little uneasy, but nothing happened. The front person thanked me and was very nice. They need to check it periodically. Otherwise, everything was fine and we had a good time and a good night's sleep. Would definitely stay there again.

    They treated me like I was a king. Very, very friendly. When Best Western found out I was a gold member, they told me, how bless they were that we decided to stay with them. The room was perfect, they also asked me if I wanted the first floor or third. They also had healthy treats for our consumption. The gym room was clean. The staff were egger to ask how my day is going. Always asking if there is something else we needed. My wife was impressed as well. The next time we come to Columbus Ohio we will be saying at the BW col Airport

    This is my "go to" hotel when I go to Columbus for business near the airport. Rooms are very comfortable with good internet service. Staff know what service is. Easy 10 minute drive to Easton to experience great restaurants, and huge shopping area and entertainment.

    We stayed here based solely on the fact that when I called the hotel before I booked, the lady that answered said their complimentary airport first shuttle to airport leaves at 4:00 a.m. (I had a 5:45 a.m. flight). When we checked in hotel, the front desk said "4:30 a.m." !!! Needless to say, we got very nervous as it was cutting it close to our flight; but we had already prepaid. It's only a 5 minute trip to CMH airport but was heart pounding mad dash. Eventually made our flight 2 minutes before plane door shut. Long line/busy at TSA. (Other than that, I would have given this hotel 5 pts.) Had I known about their 4:30 a.m. shuttle, I would have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn where they have "on-demand" shuttle service to airport even at wee hours. Suggestion to hotel: perhaps, you need to disclose airport shuttle hours on your website... it helps. Other than that, this is a very nice clean hotel with hospitable front desk staff (especially the evening shift guys). Very good full breakfast. I love that its served early from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. (based on those hours, we will definitely stay here again)! There is variety and the menu changes from bacon to sausages to something else everyday so if you are stuck here for a week, you wouldn't be eating the same thing everyday. There is also grab & go for those early flights. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers. Our comfortable well-lit bedroom had a microwave, small fridge, & coffee maker too. Lots of lamps and plugs/outlets for charging. The bathroom door (its a huge door) is somewhat annoying because it practically sweeps through the entire bathroom space. I love that they provide you a normal bar of soap (not those teeny tiny ones that melt after one use)! The vanity is separate from the shower/toilet. The linens, towels, beddings are all white clean. Had glitches with cable/direct tv during thunderstorm. Definitely will keep this hotel in mind next time in Columbus!

    I had a great experience while staying for a work function. I got in a little late, hotel was quite comfy and clean room. Staff was very polite. The breakfast provided was also not bad. I would definitely stay again.

    Had a four night stay with five friends. excellent staff. Chrystal was breakfast "hostess with the mostest". We felt welcomed like family. Saturday night when lobby was crowded with guest they opened a conference room so we could gather in quiet. quickly supplied me with forgottton toothpaste. Thanks for making it memorable long weekend for us.

    « Bigelow Family reunion was excellent »

    Out of town family members were pleased with the rooms and hotel accommodations. Big shout out to the crew members that didn't hesitate to assist us with our needs. What was even more amazing and challenging was that the staff crew was able to handle two separate family reunions going on at same time that whole weekend. Hotel manager Beth Sweet is the best! Rajer Braden Ronell Karen Verna Gleen ( I may have misspell the name ) and everyone else who I may have overlooked to mention!

    Overnight stay for early flight. We use this property because of their location to the airport, shuttle service and "park-n-fly services". They have recently remodeled the property and it is a very comfortable place to stay..

    « Not a good Experience! »

    Do Not Stay Here!!!! Stayed here the weekend of 10-13-17, Room was not clean when we arrived , John the night front desk employee was very rude and not helpful at all. Hotel was noisy all night long, the guest next to us had very loud music on all night long, called front desk about noise , he told me he would take care of the issue but never did,music didn't stop until about 5 am, Swimming pool was dirty. Won't stay here again, don't recommend anyone to stay here!

    first time traveling in a long time, this was a pleasant experience and I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. staff was very friendly too. I received a room upgrade and appreciated having the jacquzzi tub.

    I was very pleased with my room. The hot tub was amazing!!! The room was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast looked ok, not a lot to chose from. My overall experience was great!

    We stayed there for a couple days, overall we are happy to stay there again if the pool is clean... Pros: - Nice & helpful staffs - Hot & Cold breakfast - Free Shuttle to Easton & Airport Cons: - Pool was closed for the first day due to some issue... Then we tried to swim the next day, it was open but the pool was very dirty. As we saw only 1 or 2 of the returning jets are working...we are very disappointed. We want to swim it is one of the main reason we pick the hotels. - We found hair in between of the blanket & blanket sheet... - Booking said Free area shuttle within 5.00 miles which is not correct won't go downtown...so pretty much is Easton & Airport only - We called a shuttle and said coming...but then waited almost an hour...

    Although not in downtown Columbus, this hotel was affordable, clean and had easy access to the highway to get to and from downtown. It provided free parking and breakfast. Pumpkin spice waffles were delish!

    This was a great place all I seen was MacDonald's and Wendy's in the area when we asked of other places I found out they have a shuttle service how great it was. The room was great slept like a baby. I had a early flight the hotel has shuttle service that got us to the airport on time. they had to go bags for those that wanted them. Coffee and other things were available even at 4AM.

    My sister and I were in Columbus for a wedding when Hurricane Irma hit our home state of Florida. The airlines delayed our trip back home. We wanted to return our car to save on expenses. That meant we wanted to be close to the airport, restaurants and if possible, a courtesy van. We just happened to find this Best Western that met all of our needs. But we didn't expect to be treated so well! Elizabeth Sweet, the general manager runs a very clean, well maintained property. She also has the talent to hire the best staff! Front Desk manager Connie Brigman and Guest services Manager Rajer Brown were awesome. The van drivers were great. The first driver was Michael and he was a hoot. He kept us laughing. The last driver to the airport was Karen. She was small but mighty. She lifted our heavy luggage like it was nothing. We had several drivers between Michael and Karen. I can't remember all their names. But they were always ready, willing and very accommodating. Ms Crystal G made sure the dining area was spotless and the breakfast items were hot and plentiful. We loved her infectious laugh! We were at this hotel from 9/11/17 to 9//17/17. We were treated like family the entire time. Can't say enough good words about this establishment. Priceless!

    My visit to Columbus was for a relatives wedding. Family and friends stayed at the port Columbus Best Western at a reasonable group rate. The location is great close to the airport, restaurants and stores. The hotel is safe, clean and the staff was absolutely fantastic! Breakfast was good with a decent variety of hot and cold healthy choices. Ms. Crystal, Crystal, John, and Ms. Karen and Anna were fabulous and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

    My family stayed during a time when we were displaced for a day. The General Manager went out of her way to make sure we were able to check in early- which we truly appreciated. Staff was was friendly and helpful. However, the housekeeping staff was loud in the morning yelling to one another down the hallway. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was out of service. The room was clean and smelled good. A few spots in the bathroom were chipping paint and the toilet was leaking, which I reported. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Overall we felt like it was a good value and would stay again.

    This property is the type of hotel you look for when traveling. Staff are friendly and look to help in every way. I wish I could mention each and every staff member individually to say thank you. I stayed here in July 2017 and when I returned to the area in August again stayed here. I was welcomed back in August and having had a bad experience at another hotel (due to location of event I was booked at another place) my return to this property ensured future visits to Columbus my hotel would be here. Much better to drive an extra few miles when you 100% peace of mind in your hotel.

    Great place, but had to wade through a cloud of smoke since the hotel placed the smoking ashtray immediately outside the front entrance. The staff was very apologetic since it sometimes gets sucked into the lobby itself. I understand this is a Best Western policy, not a local one.

    This is a very clean, well-kept property very near the airport. It is very quiet away from freeways and aircraft noise. The rooms we occupied were clean, comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with good selection of hot and cold items. We would return here again.

    Stayed here for 3 nights - very nice hotel! Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly! Manager, Beth, even took a pkg that couldnt fit on the plane, down to Fed Ex to be mailed!! Surrounding area was quiet. Food nearby. No complaints AT ALL!!!

    Booked last minute at great rate for overnight stay, All Easton hotels unavailable so needed another option to be close by for business meeting.. Worked out better than expected. Beside the value compared to Easton, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And having stayed by Columbus airport on previous trips I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was. Friendly staff - not only will I return but definitely recommend for families or business travelers.

Prices are well within what this class of hotel offers.

    General: I stayed 4 nights in a room on the ground floor. Even though it was little cared near some of the housekeeping facilities there was very little if any outside noise. Although the hotel is in a direct fly over zone from the airport, I never heard an aircraft. The room looked just like the promo photos. Amenities etc: All appliances were functioning and clean. I used the microwave, coffee maker and fridge which was a welcome edition. The fridge was actually cold which was a welcome surprise. The tv also worked with access to plenty of channels. There is a tiny fitness area and indoor pool which I didn't use. For such a budget friendly hotel I was quite surprised by all of the offerings. Breakfast: Standard American breakfast with lots of options including eggs, bacon or sausage and potatoes. Pastries, cereal, fruit and other breakfast items were also available. The ability to make my own fresh waffles was a delight. I don't think the hotel was crowded during my stay but the breakfast items were plentiful and well stocked. Facilities/Other: Pleasantly surprised by nice and clean computers available for use and good wifi throughout. The main lobby was spacious, always clean and pleasant. Near by there are plenty of options for food within walking distance, including a convenience store. The Staff: AMAZING! In a nutshell, what makes this hotel a standout is the staff. From the shuttle drivers to the front desk to the housekeeping staff, I was blown away by not only the consistency of care they provided their guests but just downright friendliness. I've travelled domestically and internationally for most of my life and it is few and far between that I'm surprised by fantastic service. The management staff should be proud of their team and I do hope that they are rewarded and incentivized to continue to perform at these levels. I've stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels where the service pales in comparison to what I experienced during my stay at the Best Western Port Columbus. Small things: The room wasn't perfect, a bit dusty and obvious signs of repair were visible. My sink and tub were also slow draining. Also wished I could have opened the window for fresh air but I call it human error and I couldn't figure it out. A few spots/stains here and there BUT these things were very very small and frankly not disruptive enough to warrant a complaint. I've stayed in pricey hotels that had the same small issues. Summary: Great hotel for short stay, road trip travelers, families, business and frugal travelers. If I return to Columbus, I'd choose to stay again!

    This hotel had a great bed. Our room was nice and clean. However the pool had mildew around edge. We especially liked the breakfast. My kids liked that they even had whip cream and mini chocolate chips for the waffles! The breakfast attendant was very helpful.

    Front desk staff were very professional and nice. Location was very convenient to the airport. Room was clean and everything was working. Used the swimming pool and thought the water felt like it had a film on it. Thought they could of kept it a little cleaner pool water. Overall I did think this was a good value for the price.

    My wife and I used to stay at this hotel regularly when traveling through Columbus during our summer vacation. A few years ago, there was a physical altercation among some guests that management ignored until another guest called the police. The management at that time failed to handle the situation, failed to explain to guests what happened, and never responded to my complaints. I swore I would never stay there again. However, under pressure from my wife who like the proximity to friends in town, I relented and booked a room. When we arrived, I immediately notice a change. The two gentlemen at the desk were very professionally dressed in jackets and ties. They greeted us and immediately checked us in. The check-in procedure included a requirement to read the hotel's policy on partying in rooms, noise, drinking and other activities that might be detrimental to other guests. Our room was on the first floor as we requested. The room was clean and fresh with two double beds. It had all the usual amenities such as flat screen television, coffee maker, microwave oven, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, arm chair, desk, alarm clock, etc. The air conditioning system was very efficient and the free in-room Wi-Fi worked well. We left early the following morning before breakfast but there was complimentary coffee available in the lobby 24 hours a day. We did not take advantage of that or the other amenities the hotel offered such as the business center or pool. The room service was a new experience for us. Grandma's Pizza and Pasta, a third-party company, offered menu items and a delivery service to the motel. We ordered the turkey club sandwich, crispy chicken sandwich, onion rings, and soft drinks. There was a severe thunderstorm with local flooding so the food was a bit late arriving. However, William, our delivery man, arrive with the food still hot. A charming hotel gesture checkout feature was a ?Grab and Go? bag that contained fruit, bottled water, and a snack. Morning checkout was very efficient. I was so pleased with the changes and the staff, we booked a room on our return trip through the city a week later. That was also a very pleasant stay. Best Western is back in our good graces and we will book rooms there again next year.

    Both of the beds in my room had 4 small throw pillows instead of real pillows. Did Ohio have a shortage of pillows? I dont get it you have one job as a hotel that is to provide a bed The hotel staff was friendly and very nice. The hotel needs some work, but if you need a cheap one night stay this place will do.

    We stayed here for a baseball tournament. Our room smelled like stale smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The pool looked green and the rooms felt unclean. The breakfast was not good. Neither our safe or the remote worked.

    The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The hallway was dark and smells like curry. Room was ok but the mattress was too soft that it hurts my back. The breakfast was average. It is not in a safe neighborhood I guess because there were people begging for money in the gas station right in front of the hotel.

    While on tour with the band Larger Than Life, we had a stop in Columbus for a date in Easton. The promoter had booked us in a rather unsavory place. I immediately looked up this hotel and booked it on the spot. Was VERY happy I did. The place is clean, the pools is fun and most importantly the workers (front desk and manager) are very accommodating. The free breakfast could have been replenished a little bit better but it was still good to have.

    Excellent location, price, breakfast. Slept like a baby! Best rest ever! I was exhausted upon arrival, had been turned away from other hotels in that area. Beds were clean and comfortable. The price was considerably lower than others in the area, while the room was more comfortable. I was amazed at the other accommodations, such as a microwave and a refrigerator. Clean linens and the staff was very nice! The night attendant was unable to locate me in the computer, but the morning clerk more than made up for his ineptness!

    We stayed here just one night as we had to catch an early plane out, it was very clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, we did not use any of the food service or amenities. Within walking distance to several food businesses. We stayed on the first floor and it was very quiet, no problem with overhead planes. Great shuttle service that helped us with the return of our rental car and transportation to the airport in the early morning hours.

    This hotel is a great value for the money. Nice Breakfast options. Rooms are a bit small but very nice and clean decor. Every single staff member asked if we needed anything and was always smiling and kind. From the front desk, to the housekeeping to maintenance. We were there with 10 baseball players and their families. The hotel staff went out of their way to put us all together and to make sure we had everything we needed.

    We like this little hotel. The staff is great, the rooms are clean, they provide parking for a reasonable amount, and great shuttle service to the airport. We had a reservation sanfu that nobody can seem to solve, though. I've called numerous people so I am done with that. If someone reaches out to me to solve the problem, great. If not, I won't be using Best Western again anywhere. I'm sure there are other Columbus hotels in the area that would like our business.

    No air conditioning in the common areas of the hotel. Slow internet and my room need a deep cleaning. There was old food in the refrigerator and under the beds was dirty. However staff was super friendly and welcoming. I think after a good cleaning and some repairs this has the potential to be a good hotel and a great value.

    Reservations were quick and easy with the mobile app. Upon arrival I was immediately recognized and thanked for being a Diamond club member, offered my choice if drink and snacks or points towards rewards. Staff was dressed professionally and acted accordingly. Speedy check-in, information about what was happening in the town entertainment wise that evening as well as a recommendation for a great restaurant for dinner and the experience was complete. Highly recommend staying here anytime you're in the area if you enjoy professional service by quality individuals.

    Hotel was clean, well-managed, and convenient to Columbus Airport. We had one of the best staff experiences I've had at BW or any other hotel and felt as if we'd been cared for very well. Breakfast was good (BW is upgrading their breakfast experience in their basic hotel line) and the overall hotel value was very good. We had an issue with the thermostat in our initial room and were immediately (and without even asking) moved to a new room.

    We recently stayed at this hotel while in Columbus visiting friends. This hotel is close to the airport, and there was no problem finding a parking spot in their lot. The room was nicely sized, it was clean, and it was nicely appointed with amenities, all of which were in good working order. (To our surprise, the room even had a hot tub.) The staff was friendly and efficient! The free breakfast was good and included the standard BW hot and cold fare. Only small issue that we had was that they were changing out chairs in all of the rooms on the morning of our departure. Was a little difficult getting our luggage out of the hotel, but the workers and staff were courteous and helpful. We would stay there again if in the area!

    This was a very nice comfortable room. I has just been re done and was in very good condition. Nice roomy shower and bathroom. Beautiful marble sink/vanity. the bed was very comfortable. AC was in the window and loud but not as loud as the planes. Breakfast was delicious with hot items as well as yogart cereal and Danish. Real good coffee too. Front desk folks very helpful at all times. I would definitely stay again.

    This was our first weekend stay at this hotel. In the past we had stayed at three other hotels in the area. We liked the exterior and the amenities offered, so we decided to try it. Check-in was easy and the front desk person was helpful and friendly. The room was adequate and comfortable. They have free internet, a fitness center, and a pool. The breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. The real problem with our stay was that we left the room at 10:30 am to go to a football game and returned to a room that had not been touched by housekeeping. That is totally unacceptable to me. I had to go to the front desk at 10 pm to get clean towels. They gave me 1/3 off the cost of that night, but cleanliness is more important to me.

    I typically chose this hotel when I come to Columbus. It is convenient in regards to the city, but it is a high-way drive away. It's nice when DT Columbus is crowded due to OSU games and such. The pool area is really nice and the rooms are fairly decent. I would recommend this hotel for a night or two.

    The hotel was super clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room was extremely small, as well as the bathroom. We tried breakfast on the first day but didn't bother with it the second day. They eggs were rubbery and the tator tots were very chewy. It was close to a couple of fast food restaurants and gas stations. It was very central to where we needed to be.

    I called for a shuttle and 20 minutes later I called back, apologies were given and they sent cab for me that they paid for. Same for the return trip to the airport. This was above and beyond service that I expected. Front desk associates Rajer and Sabrina were so helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and so was the room. Breakfast was included and very good.     I have over 4700 people who follow me and let me tell you I mean every word in my reviews. This is a hotel that offered friendly service from moment of checkin to check out. Ok, so I got it on Hotwire for about $30 less than actual. You here some horror stories about best western. I walked in around 9pm and was greeted by the front desk girl with a big smile and an ill be right with you. Room was a little dated but no remote for tv, no problem she came a brought me one right away with a smile. Breakfast in morning was good and Beth the manager was so kind and personable and just a nice experience. I come to Columbus 3 times a year with my boss, I have to stay elsewhere with him; but when I come myself, will absolutely be back. Hotel is doing some construction and there's a really big sign as you walk in. If you book thru 3rd party don't blame hotel and write review based on that. The 800 reservation center should however tell you; great stay, thanks Beth and your team.

    Room was a good size (2 queen beds) with sink in the main room; separate bathroom. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and had no problems. Breakfast was fantastic, with lots of options. I used the swimming pool (larger than I'd expect for this kind of hotel) and the hot tub - very nice pool area. They are in the middle of renovations which will help freshen it up a bit for sure. Staff were very friendly and helpful when I arrived - although I had some challenges in my booking directly with them. Location is only 5 minutes from airport, and there are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

    Not a bad place to stay for the night. Definitely pre-arrange a shuttle, I didn't realize that was an option and the cab fare from the airport was a little ridiculous.     There are a bunch of really bad reviews for this place but it's really fine. The room was fine, small, but nothing unusual. Yes, the pool is right off the lobby but so what? People walk in and out, no one cares if you are in there with your family. Yes, I saw a group of rough looking characters, but you're not sharing your room with them. For the $, this place was fine.     Stayed a long weekend at this BW property based on the generally favorable TA reviews and for its proximity to the airport (2 miles). I had an early flight out and was at the airport in a jiff. The hotel and the grounds are neatly kept and presentable. My room was a double with a small microwave, a small fridge for snacks, and a flat screen TV with the usual cable channels. The AC wasn't overly loud nor was the fridge. Wi-fi was slow at times but overall okay. Though my room was near the elevator it was pretty quiet my whole stay. The complimentary breakfast was fine ? not what you could call deluxe but more than adequate to prepare a person for a day of work or play: scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage, toast, pastries, fruit, juices, and waffles. The coffee was just okay. The breakfast area could be somewhat bigger in my opinion but at least the volume on the TV was low enough that I could ignore the inevitable morning litany of murders, crimes, and scandal which other hotels seem so intent on forcing on their breakfast guests. From what I could tell, the other guests that weekend varied from families with children, those attending the Ohio State Fair, and business travelers. The last time I was in Columbus, I stayed at a different hotel (i.e by the Dublin Irish Festival) and the management handed out a notice warning against late night revelry ? here at the BWPCA, no fears about late night or revelry. You have to have a car because there isn't really much nearby and certainly nothing you might call nightlife unless you consider Speedway, McDonald's, Wendy's, or Waffle House night life. The property is right next to the I-670 on ramp so downtown is a straight shot of 10-15 minutes drive. My bottom line for TA travelers is the BWPCA offers comfortable, decent value lodging near the airport.

    I just wanted to say how incredibly delightful my stay was at your hotel. I had an insane work week and when I arrived, the front desk staff was nothing but sweet and accommodating. I specifically remember Brittany made my stay go smoothly and she was very polite. When I got up to my room, I was pleasantly surprised to see a giant whirlpool jacuzzi bathtub in the corner of my room. I can't tell you how excited I was. This is exactly what I needed after a stressful week. It was such a kind gesture and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The breakfast in the morning was top notch as well. I really appreciated the upgraded room and I can assure you I will be staying at your hotel every time I visit Columbus. Thank you again to you and your staff for making my stay an amazing one.

    Spent the night while attending the Ohio State Fair and had a very good stay. Staff were very friendly. We actually left an item in the room and called back to see if we could get it back. Thanks to Clark and Connie we received it in the mail within 2 days. So I feel they went above and beyond and I thank them very much for that. Would return to this hotel if back in the area.     Three families stayed here before flying out the next day. Used the Park and Fly package. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is located only 5 - 10 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic). Found it to be clean, the bed was comfortable. Did find the pillows to be lumpy. The indoor pool was nice. Close to fast food eating facilities. Shuttle was on time and driver was courteous. Did not hear any planes. Made reservations here for my next trip in September

    « Very bad experience - car break in »

    On our second night - four cars parked in the hotel parking lot got broken in. Including ours. Window smashed, some small items stolen. Lots of headache. The hotel staff was very helpful with calling the police and cleaning up the mess in the car, but we will not be coming back to this hotel for sure. Obviously there is very little effort put into keeping the parking lot safe, if nobody from the staff notices that the cars are being broken into...

    We asked for a quiet room and they provided a room on the 3rd floor and although the hotel was full, the guests around us where quiet too. The room is a little small, but we weren't there to just stay in the room. They had ice water, fresh fruit and coffee always available in the lobby. Great experience. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

    « Airport Shuttle driver--fantastic »

    This hotel is about 5-10 mins. from the airport, depending on traffic. Room was clean and spacious, and met our needs. We didn't use the pool, but it looked well-maintained...you can see it from the check-in desk in the lobby. Our flight was early and they offered a wake-up call if needed. Breakfast buffet was your basic choices and they had a pre-bagged grab and go if you wanted that instead. Not too fond of the coffee, but that's just me b/c I am admittedly a coffee snob. They offer long-term parking here that can be added on to your room. If you book directly with them, you can ask when you reserve it. If you book through a 3rd party site, like we did, you will have to ask when you arrive. The charge will be a separate transaction. All desk employees were efficient and very friendly. The best part of this stay was the shuttle driver. I don't remember his name, but he was wonderful. He was our driver both ways, and remembered us from. He was so friendly and genuinely seemed to like his job. I recommend this hotel for a business and anyone who is in a hurry.

    Stayed here with our two teenage sons the night before an early flight. The location is great and, even with other families staying there and enjoying the pool, the property was quiet at night -- a must when getting up early for a flight the next day! Breakfast was fine and thankfully on time at 6:00 a.m.

    We only stayed one night before getting on the plane back home. The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It had a large Jacuzzi tub which we did not use as did not have the time to sit and relax. The computer in the lobby was not working and the night auditor offered the computer behind the desk for us to print our boarding passes. We also asked him to get us a cab to the airport and he said the shuttle driver would be there in a few minutes, so he went and got the van and helped us load our luggage so we were ready to go as soon as the driver got there. Great customer service! Different then the gal who checked us in. She needs to smile more and be a little friendlier. Overall a great stay.

    Our Senior men's team has stayed here now three different times for a men's tournament . The hotel has everything we need as a traveling team . The staff is very friendly and helpful . This is the first time we utilized their free shuttle which worked out very well also . The morning hot breakfast is typical of what you find at most hotels . We have nothing but positive things to say for our stay at this hotel .

    Clean, comfortable, and friendly. Carpets and furniture need updating but it was better than I expected as I don't normally stay at Best Western hotels. They allowed early check in when we arrived and the hotel was easy to find. Close enough to uber for a reasonable price to the downtown area for events.

During my continental breakfast the service from an employee named Valissa was exceptional, and resturant quality. The room was clean. The relaxing hot tub was just what I needed after a long drive.     We just needed a place to stay that was close to the airport and included transportation to the airport. This hotel fit the bill. We didn't have time to use any of the service, but everything was clean and comfortable. Our shuttle drive was very friendly and helpful.

    The hotel was close to the international airport, easy to find, clean and comfortable. The lounge chair in the room was a little old, hard, and stained, but everything else was good to go and a great value. The breakfast was great. We've paid thirty bucks for a family breakfast at a fast food chain while staying at other Columbus hotels because their "Complementary Breakfast" was stale toast and old fruit. Best Western did it right, though. I ate all I could hold, and when I travel, the diet goes bye-bye at the door, sausage included, baby.

    This hotel was a little farther away from OSU than I wanted but after finding out they had a shuttle and free breakfast, we went for it! It was a great place to stay! Very clean, and a extremely helpful staff. Only disadvantage was the shuttle picking us up after the concert because it was a 20 minute drive both ways so we'd be waiting for quite awhile. Other than that, everything was great!

    Very quiet, comfortable. Friendly staff. The shuttle will even take you to the Easton shopping center for dinner or whatever, and pick you up. A very nice convenience. Lovely pool and hot tub.     Travelled from Pittsburgh to Port Columbus for a graduation commencement at Capital U. Arrived at 2PM sharp and was greeted by a front desk team of Connie Brigman & Brittany Lash. They were quick to ask if we were AAA members which saved us over $20 each. They offered good advice about local eateries and local things to do. Each time we passed the desk they asked if everything was okay and were SINCERE about it. A great experience. Please commend the staff for myself and my extended family travelling with us!

    More basketball travel for us... This time, our tournament brought us to Capital University in Bexley, OH. This Best Western was only a 10 minute drive, and what a nice place. All the staff were very nice, accommodating and friendly. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, which with our ball team, DID NOT go unused. The breakfast was very good. Especially the first day. The property was very clean, which I am a stickler for. They are about to go some renovations, so although it was a very nice property, I guess it is about to get even nicer. Also, want to thank Beth for all her help with our team reservations. GO PONY'S!!!!!

    The hotel is good. Minor issues were there in terms of bedding and internet. Internet got addressed suitably. Staff can be friendly to customers. The breakfast is not good and was really cold. The guys were not too helpful over there. However this is a good place for a overnight stay to board your flights as very close to Airport. Too cramped and need to plan the space bit better.

    I stayed here a few days and the experience would have been nice except a couple of incidents. Firstly, I had booked the room via booking.com and despite receiving an email confirmation the hotel had done nothing about it. I arrived after a long flight only to find out that the hotel was full. The receptionist seemed to indicate that the same thing had already happened many times. Instead of booking me to another hotel she eventually removed somebody else's booking and got me a room. Secondly, despite the generally good breakfast, I once got milk that was very badly off already. Luckily I did not get a food poisoning for my return trip. It is unfortunate since generally the staff was nice and the hotel pleasant.

    I had used Best Western's website and searched for a room for three people. It gave me a list of suitable rooms and I chose one called "King Executive Suite." Sounded nice. I figured I'd let the kids share the king and I'd sleep on the fold out couch or a rollaway. When we arrived at the hotel, there was some kind of dubious activity going on in the parking lot - two big bashed-up looking vans were parked around the side, music blaring, and overly filled with people who were yelling back and forth to each other and wandering around. When I parked near one of them, I got several threatening glares. Ignoring this, I parked, gathered up the kids, and went inside. Check-in was slow. My kids and I finally got to the front of the line and got our key. On the way to the room, housekeeping people were in the halls with their cart and there was at least one person who seemed to be there "visiting" someone who was cleaning - they were very noisy and blocked the hall. We waited, then had to ask them to excuse us so we could get to our room. When we got to the room, my first impression was that the room was tiny for an "executive suite." There was only the king bed - no fold-out couch or room for a rollaway - how were three people supposed to sleep in this room? I also could hear lots of noise from the hall and the adjoining room - it was not well-proofed. The bed had been very hurriedly made - the dust ruffle was jammed between the mattress and the floor in several places and it looked unkempt. There was a big dark stain on the bedspread that looked as if it had absorbed something off the floor. I hoped it was coffee. The whirlpool area was a small built-in alcove in the room, which was completely filled with the most enormous whirlpool I'd ever seen - and it was surrounded on all sides by floor to ceiling mirrors. Plastic plants dangling down from the ceiling and carpeted steps led up to it, finishing the look. It was really something else. Not what this girl was looking for. Since we didn't have enough bed space for the three of us, I had no qualms about asking for my money back and heading elsewhere. There are tons of other choices in the area and we ended up at a nice clean spot down the road for the same price. The lady at the front desk was gracious in being sure my credit card was not charged for the room. That was the only positive in the 20-minute experience.

    « Disappointed beyond belief! »

    We decided to make a weekend trip with our family to go to the Zoo.mthis hotel was fairly priced (military discount) and not too far from the Zoo or the Cheesecake Factory. We reserved two rooms for two nights, for our party of four and one toddler. To begin with they had no roll away beds. Ok, we can adjust. But, when it's ten o'clock at night and your 3 year old granddaughter is trying to sleep, and there are inconsiderate people running up and down the halls, hooting and a hollering to each other, one tends to get a little irritated. So, we thought, they will calm down and go to sleep. No, Saturday afternoon it continued. To the point I went downstairs and made management aware of the situation. All the desk clerk could say was ok. My daughter comes down, she too addresses the desk clerk, again, ok. Apparently the desk clerks and the mgmt aren't too concerned about their guests to allow such disrespectful behavior to continue even AFTER it was brought to their attention TWICE! Let's not forget to mention the two young boys smoking pot in the corner of the parking lot. I mean seriously people? So, we checked out today, my husband expressed in his calm stoic voice how disappointed he was in his stay, the desk clerk attempted to apologize. Really? How hard would it have been to get the disruptive guests under control or ask them to leave? In all of my years of traveling, I've NEVER had such a horrible experience. We will be back to Columbus, but I promise you this...WE WILL NOT stay at another Best Western again. This one has ruined it for all. Congratulations!

    Good location to MAPFRE Stadium and no traffic in and out of the city. Also good location to Easton Mall. I would most definitely stay here again. The pool and the hot tub were barley used so we were able to be there by ourselves. No splashing/chaotic children.

    We have stayed at this location for over 6 years. This is the cleanest I have ever seen it. They have repainted and scrubbed every wall and door. The staff is still very friendly. The Sunday morning breakfast was a little bit of a let down because the stove broke. But there was still more than enough to eat. There were people that didn't understand that waffle's, assorted cereal's, yogurt, bagels, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, hot oatmeal, coffee, hot tea, and juice still made a good breakfast. All and all it was a great weekend get away.

    Lady at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Key card entry pad on our door was not working at 10:30pm when we arrived back to the hotel for the night. We were locked out of our room until 12:30am before they FINALLY changed the batteries and could get us in. I was so unhappy with their lack of motivation and lack of caring. Cleaning person didn't even let the front desk know they couldn't get in to clean our room due to the keypad and nothing was cleaned or restocked. The bed sheets where stained and so where both chairs that where in the room. You couldn't pay me to sit on those! So unhappy with cleanliness of hotel and horrible staff!

    I have stayed at this Best Western before and this stay I was disappointed with the housekeeping. I was especially disappointed with the front desk as though I was given and excuse. It was expressed to me that perhaps I stayed in my room too long or I had a sign to not to disturb. That wasn't the case. I had left my room to exercise and ate breakfast. I came back much later and the room still wasn't cleaned.

    They should have done better when it came down to it. I called 3-4 times from my personal cell phone to alert the desk staff of the children ringing my phone. It was constant during the night. I was advised to just take the phone off the hook. By morning, I was about to leave and check out, I thought about the phone being off the hook. I placed it back on the hook and YES...THE PHONE RANG AND IT WAS THOSE SAME CHILDREN. The clerk at the front desk said they knew of who was doing it but, obviously, NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT!

    The Staff at this hotel is so helpful. They have helped our group and made my job extremely easy because of their accommodation and professionalism. The rooms are comfortable and clean and well appointed. If you are going to the airport or picking up people from the airport, there is not a better hotel in Cbus. Especially like the sales and desk staff. Also a nice pool and hot tub.

    My husband and I stayed here last night for a Flyers game at Blue Jackets stadium. The Flyers stunk. The hotel did not. I was immediately inpressed with how friendly the staff was. The young lady at the desk was well dressed and cleanly pressed and smiling very genuinely. She was clearly thrilled to have us. She took several minutes to welcome us to the area, recommend a few places to visit and asked where we were from. I asked for extra pillows and she found us two. We had a problem with our credit card and needed to shred it and she took care of it. She commisserated with us after the game and brought me a fat stack of paper for printing in the morning in the business center. The cleaning staff was efficient and incredible. The entire time we were there someone was cleaning and wiping down. Our room was spotless. It is the attention to detail that always impresses me. Things like window sills that are wiped off and undersides of lampshades being clean impress me. This place was like that. One cleaning staff person was even wiping down the third floor base boards in the hallway last night! Yesterday afternoon I took advantage of one of the cleanest and most well tended pool areas I have ever had the pleasure of using in a hotel. First, let me say it is a beautiful facility. Little touches like wooden walls and mosaic tile make it a pleasurable place to spend time. Second, the cleanliness mentioned earlier continued here. Third, as a once lifeguard and current mom, I notice safety features and was seriously impressed with an obviously well stocked first aid kit, properly appointed backboard, appropriate equipment for poolside. A properly labelled and obvious emergency phone was also a huge positive. The only negative here was that there was not a towel hamper. Finally, our breakfast. I do not stay at hotels that do not do breakfast. This was by far one of the best I have had. The coffee was strong enough, everything was kept at the correct temperature, they had one of those wonderful industrial toasters that makes perfect toast. If you like sweet breakfast they had fixings for waffles, and muffins. They had wonderful sausages, eggs, and even home fries. We really couldn't have done better if we had bought breakfast elsewhere. Also the coffe bar is open 24 hours and is stocked with yummy flavoured creamers. This was a great experience!

    I stayed at Western Port Columbus one night before my flight out of Ohio. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and close to the airport. They also have a big pool and a Jacuzzi. The hotel provides free shuttle (drop off and pick up) to a shopping/dinning/night life area near as well as to the airport. I enjoyed my stay at Western Port Columbus and will stay there again if I go back to Columbus.

    stayed here for a conference at the greater Columbus convention center was a 7 min drive without traffic was 15 min with traffic. was wonderful hotel was quite had a hot tub/spa wichi was nice and heated pool. Breakfast was good and staff was sooo friendly. I had forgot my toothbrush and they were happy to give me a new one. very clean very friendly the spa needed a good scrubbing at the top edge but that was my only complaint. comfy bed and pillows nice room. quiet

    « Terrible Service from Manager, poor breakfast food, noisy toilet »

    Terrible experience at this hotel. The manager was rude and told us that everyone was waiting on us to get on the bus to leave for the Arnold when she was telling us this 20 minutes in advance! She forced us to finish our breakfast because "everyone else was ready and waiting to go". The shuttle was supposed to leave at 9 and she was rushing us at 840. The breakfast food was terrible and extremely greasy but to be expected with free breakfast food. The worst part was our toilet made a VERY LOUD grinding noise every 5-10 minutes all day long. The noise was so loud we had to keep the TV on through the night to actually drown out the noise. I will never stay in a Best Western. I would recommend if you are going for the Arnold in the future to pick someplace a little more classy and pay the extra money because this was NOT WORTH IT.

    Stayed 3 nights and will not return. Staff was unprofessional, and not very helpful. The main issue I had was with the staff. Also every interaction I noticed with other guests at the hotel, the staff was unprofessional with. The morning manager was the only exception to this.

    Reception at this Hotel made everything just perfect! Kind, friendly, and extremely helpful despite an obvious heavy booking during my one night stay. Shuttle bus was punctual except for a pickup request from the mall which was about 30mins late but it was fine given the time to spare. Room was spacious and clean with the standard Best Western amenities included; TV, Coffee Machine, Hair Dryer. Placing the Hotel near the airport(approx. 10 minutes) and a 5 minute drive to the Apple Store made it perfect location for me. Rain and an outdoor mall made my shopping experience not so comfortable. They do have a Large cinema at the mall if you're interested in spending time watching a movie. Breakfast was somewhat limited, I didn't quiet understand the concept of breakfast without a fruit basket but then again I hopefully didn't know where they kept the fruits. My room was quiet and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless clean. I certainly would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on a short business trip in the vicinity. Again, I would like to compliment the professionalism of the staff which helped me throughout my stay up to the last minute drawing my attention to keep an eye out for an expected snow storm expected to cause airport delays.

    As a hotel it is fine, above middle grade. Location is great for Port Columbus airport. The breakfast is all right, what we go to eat of it in the early morning. Make your own waffles, bagels, stuff like that. OK. What sets this hotel apart is the GREAT staff they are really nice people.

    « Worst Western...bedbugs and more! »

    Aside from the bedbugs, broken toilet seat and paper thin walls, this is the first hotel I have ever stayed at where the housekeeping staff runs the place. They would begin cleaning noisily at 9 am and asking us when we would be leaving our room. We often saw staff in the breakfast area helping themselves to the food. One evening, we were shocked to come back to the room and find that it had not been cleaned at all. When we complained we were told that housekeeping had gone home for the night. After much insisting, we were moved to a clean room. No bedbugs, but the safe didn't work nor half the lights. There were also a lot of odd people hanging around; one night a policeman was having an argument with some "guests" in front of the main door and the pool was taken over every night by a bunch of guys with several crates of beer. For me, never ever again!

    Desk clerk reissued our room at 9pm and we were horrified when the new guests walked in using their newly issued key cards. Front desk was rude after we questioned them on the issue. Management response worse than the desk clerk. Couldn't get clean towels, room wasn't serviced... many other hotel options on the surrounding blocks, seriously save the distress and don't even go there.

    « Vandalized vehicles!!!! »

    We stayed here for 4 nights while in town for a horse show, while there 2 of our trucks and one other truck had windows smashed and items stolen. Come to find out the hotel has had their surveillance cameras turned off. We have received different stories from every employee that we have been in contact with as to why they are no longer on. Not only are the robberies not being recorded, but having no video surveillance also puts all guests at a big risk. We have not had any luck speaking with management or corporate about these issues we have experienced. It is safe to say we will never be staying at this hotel again nor will we ever recommend it to anyone after the terrible experience we have had.

    The room was straightened, but could smell that it was an old room, not a new clean one. The hallways were loud - could hear people talking all up and down the hallway. We opened up the blanket and found hair strands - highly nauseating to say the least. Blankets should be washed upon every visit.

    We stayed at this hotel to park and fly, The room was clean,and the staff was friendly but when we returned home we noticed our spare tire had been stolen. We also were scheduled to stay upon our return but the hotel had overbooked and a room was not available. They offered an alternative hotel, 13 miles away at the same rate we had booked with Bookingbudy.com but we decided to return home instead of stay another night in Columbus.

    good place to stay near the airport. easy access to car rental return. Many places to choose from to eat. We liked The Marriott Grill down the street, pricey but good food. The breakfast served was the same as other places. when checking in the lady spoke fast and did not seem to care that we had arrived...the check out man was very pleasant.

    « Vandalized Vehicle!! »

    We stayed here based on the Park and Fly aspect of the stay. On our return October 11, 2015. We found that the back window of our vehicle had been shattered out. We immediately went to the front desk and the gentleman working said that he had only been there a couple weeks and didn't know what forms needed to be filled but recommended that we call the police. Then he followed this statement up with, "well there have been a lot of break-in's here the past couple weeks before you guys arrived." We were never told that there were any break-ins, had we been told this information we would have just simply parked at the airport for a lot cheaper. Not only did they not have any idea of what to do, we were not offered any assistance in cleaning up the shattered glass that was all over their parking lot. We are incredibly unhappy with our experience and will never stay here again, or recommend any one staying there.

    This was a clean, friendly, reasonable place to stay. The room was clean and smelled good when I walked in. The check-in, as well as out, was easy and quick. The hot breakfast was simple but tasted good and came with the deal. The location of the hotel I'm sure was good if I was using the airport but other than that it left a little to be desired. There was nothing but a few fast food places to eat and only one pub style establishment that was closed. There are no attraction near by and it was a little noisy due to highway traffic . I would go back but just if I had to find a cheap place to get out of the rain.

    Stayed at this hotel for two night and thought that every aspect of my stay was fine. The only minor problem was that the room is not as sound-proof as most guests would prefer. Voices from the adjourning rooms and loud footsteps from the room above was annoying to say the least. But this one complaint was not bad enough to stop me from booking this hotel again.

    Not a bad hotel over all. The hot breakfast was a nice touch, although the biscuits could have been heated up first . The room was clean, but if you have a bad back or are the type that moves around a lot when you sleep, the mattresses are like rocks; so be prepared for some stiffness in the morning. Also if you have one of the rooms with a sleeper sofa, they will not be made up when you arrive. You have to do that yourself, and the sheets etc..are in a plastic bag by the door. The guest shouldn't have to do work to be able to sleep, it should be done before they walk into the front door.

    It needs to be updated from top to bottom. bed uncomfortable, carpet worn, hot tub nasty. the outside of building was the best sight. location was wonderful and peaceful.... If you could just upgrade this would be the best kept secret to a renown place to stay in columbus

    The Best Western is average. I wish a major Airport Hotel would offer some breakfast for those catching early flights - I left at 5:00 a.m.. The room was clean and had a large flat panel TV and coffee. My bonus was a nice walking track, at a cancer research center, near the hotel. The track was nicely landscaped, and I saw a pair of deer just beyond a narrow stand of trees along the path!

    « Worst night's sleep ever! »

    Worst night of sleep ever! Our teen sons slept in the king bed and my husband and I slept in the sofa bed. The sofa bed was terrible. You couldn't get comfortable because you could feel the springs with every move. The sofa bed was fine to sit on, but this should not be offered as an alternative bed. Hotel staff wasn't very accommodating either. They would rather talk among themselves than cater to their customers. Would not recommend this hotel.

Take Interstate 70 East to Interstate 670 East-Airport-Stelzer-Johnstown Road Exit off Johnstown ramp. Turn right onto Johnstown Road.
