This is one of the best Best Western Hotels we have stayed at, and we have stayed at a lot of Best Western Hotels. We have their loyalty card and always book a few days ahead. At the Coeur d'Alene hotel the staff were very friendly in all the areas from the front desk to the restaurant as well as the people cleaning the rooms.....well done Best Western Hotels...
Great staff! Everyone was very pleasant. Very clean room. Breakfast buffet offered a nice variety. Dining staff were very kind and helpful! The bar setting was very nicely situated. The location offers a nice variety of eateries. We would highly recommend the Best Western Plus in Couer d' Alene to anyone visiting the area.
The beds were comfortable. the room was very quiet. They are a dog friendly facility and even gave the dog a gift bag. It had small treats and a duty bag as well as the rules for dogs in their building. It was a really nice stay. The restaurant below had good food. The breakfast was warm and delicious. I will be staying here every time we are in Coeur d' Alene.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable, pool and hottub area are set up nice with a nice outdoor area. The complimentary breakfast was the best we have ever seen or had at a BW. Lots of fresh options and a good assortment of breakfast items. We stayed at this location as we were going to Silverwood for 2 days. Would stay again.
Pay extra for a poolside room. If you have kids with you it is so worth it. The breakfast buffet is the best. Location is great. 25 minute straight shot to Silverwood . Many well known restaurants nearby. Also go to 4th Ave for antique stores. You can swim up to 11 pm.
Outstanding accommodations, great location, amazing price and the best free breakfast anywhere, is just a little of the experience at the Best Western Plus in CDA. I won't stay anywhere else.
Crystal, in the lounge, is Absolutely Phenomenal person, Hooah Sis, she learned a new drink. I recommend asking her for a steak shot and try it, you will be surprised.
We love staying at here!! The breakfast, staff and rooms are always AMAZING!! You won't be disappointed staying at this hotel.
It is so rewarding to find staff that are interested in your comfort of stay. From having dinner in the lounge (Crystal) to breakfast in the restaurant (Glenn) the staff are welcoming you to your table. Very refreshing to see true customer care.
Nice hotel with great amenities. Breakfast is a highlight. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy access to golf course and restaurant.
Staff at the Coeur d'Alene Inn bent over backwards to make sure we had the best experience, problem free. Food served was great at all the various venues, rooms were spotless and staff very friendly.
We stayed one night and where so impressed with the hotel that we changed a future reservation at another hotel to this one. The breakfast was one of the best we have enjoyed at a hotel. We will be back.
Excellent customer service, amenities, location, breakfast. Was in town for family get away in CDA. Perfect choice for our stay as everything was 5 star!
Breakfast was cold and not good at all. Thermostat in room was not working. Room was too hot. The price was high for the lack of quality.
Excellent customer service, great value for my room, great smelling hair/soap LOL, very clean - I was so surprised!
Stayed here for two days, and absolutely loved the accommodations. Great room,, GREAT SERVICE! (such a wonderful change from so may other places). I've stayed at "hundreds of hotels" over the past few years... This hotel sets the GOLD Standard! I will go out of my way to stay at this hotel any day of the week! I cannot say enough about how nice this hotel stay was. PS. I don't write reviews often, but this hotel is an exception!
This was our third stay in the Best Western in Coeur d'Alene in the past few years. We love it. For this trip my wife and I spent our 35th anniversary here in the Honeymoon Suite, LOL. It's a great suite, private bath area, nice sized room and a comfortable bed. Climate control was separated for the bathing and living areas, which was really nice. Staff were wonderful - so friendly! Very busy breakfast on our morning, but everything went smoothly and the breakfast attendants were on top of everything. It's a great hotel when spending an evening (or more) in CDA!
I have stayed at this location for many years and never had an issue! Everything is clean and the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. The restaurant is on point the food is so good and always fresh. Would recommend this location to anyone.
The location of this hotel was great for visiting our family in Hayden, ID and for sightseeing near Coeur D Alene. Easy freeway access and the included breakfast was great. The room was clean but a bit dated. Mattress and pillows need to updated.
Was a great place to stay, very clean and staff were wonderful. Breakfast was yummy too. Pool area was very clean always had towels and if not when called they came quickly. Would stay there again for sure and recommend.
The rooms are good size and very well kept. It shows a little age but it is extremely clean. The on site restaurant is very pricey. The breakfast is very good. They give a pretty good selection but not quite as good as some of the reviews listed. The ones in Pasco and Walla Walla are better. Not really their fault but the parking lot was a mess as they have no place to put the snow and there were no dry parking places anywhere.
This was one of the nicest Best Western's we have stayed in. Although the hotel itself is not new, it is nicely renovated and seems new. I loved the artwork in hallways depicting sights and activities unique to the area. The facility is very clean and the staff was courteous. Excellent value!
Hotel Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk. No “frills”, but clean, comfortable bed, good free breakfast buffet and well maintained property. Very good at keeping parking lot cleared during snowy weather! Huge plus for us!
I am a rewards member at the Best Western, so I stay mostly at Best Western when I travel and Coeur D' Alene Best Western Plus was my all time favorite!! From check in, the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the breakfast and checking out. Very professional and excellent customer service!!!
This hotel has it all! Great restaurant, free hot breakfast, lounge, cozy, clean and carpeted rooms, GREAT Pool and fitness room. Our beds were luxurious and comfortable. We stay here every chance we get when we visit this area.
Clean, comfortable, and convenient. A lovely property located near downtown Coeur d'Alene and right off Highway 95. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Friendly service and good value. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
I drove 2 more hrs in the night just to make.it back to this hotel and I would do it again! I love how the beds are so comfy and cozy! And the staff at the desk was very nice to talk to. Only dislike was the TV channels I don't want to buy a subscription to just watch most of the channels
The breakfast area was presented in a classy manner, with a roomy buffet room and restaurant-style booths/tables rather than dinette/diner chairs on tile. Breakfast choices included 2 hot meats, hot/cold eggs, complex carbs, simple carbs, juices, yogurts, and biscuits/gravy. Multiple staff assisted in breakfast service/dining. This was a high-quality breakfast experience. I only interacted with the staff 3 times during my multi-day stay, and all 3 times they caught my attention in an impressive way. The staff who checked me in was very professional, friendly, and rose above the check-in staff at other chain hotels. (Additionally, they were able to accomodate my floor choice.) I experienced the same helpfulness when I locked myself out of my room. Thirdly, upon check-out (days later), the clerk was equally professional and friendly and COMPETENT. BW CdA Inn was staffed noticeably better than other CdA hotels in that class. The fan in my room can be set to white-noise in addition to maintaining an appropriate temperature. I would love to stay here again. There's a lounge area which looked very inviting. Parking was EXTREMELY convenient. The location is exceptionally close to multiple dining, gas, grocery and shopping choices.
Booked a regular queen room with points . Upon check in , i Was upgraded to a jacuzzi room with a king bed for free without even asking for an upgrade. , even with our pet! This made our entire trip a blast. Best service and spotless room . Will definitely be staying there again.
This hotel has the nicest employees. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast buffet is awesome. My husband loved the omelet station. We had great drinks and appetizers in the bar. The room was clean and quiet. We will stay here whenever we're in town.
I've been a Best Western fan for years but the BW in Coeur d'Alene exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and tastefully furnished--as expected. It's located at the main crossroads so It's extremely convenient for those coming into town to visit Silverwood (a gorgeous park which is so much more than a place to ride water slides). What really stood out was the great food at the hotel's restaurant--which is located just across from the reception desk. The buffet breakfast had a really nice assortment of well-prepared food including a station where you can have the cook "build" your omelette. Later in the day and if you like turkey, I highly recommend the turkey dinner. Not only does it come with a very generous stack of perfectly cooked turkey, but the mixed fresh vegetables are perfectly stir fried in a very light sauce that was so good that I wish I could get my hands on the recipe. And yes, this is one of the BWs that serves warm cookies in the evening!
First time stay at this property and was very impressed. Right along freeway but was not an issue with noise. Close proximity to area. Rooms appeared to be updated and were very comfortable and spacious. Had onsite restaurant and lounge which were very good and nice. Employees were very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is great. Every staff member we had interaction with was so nice. They have an awesome continental breakfast and restaurant. The bar has a great feel as well. The pool and hot tub are fun and clean. The room we stayed in was clean and big enough for my family of 4 to stay in comfortably.
room clean, noise level ok, bathroom is a bit on the small side, shower pressure low but acceptable, breakfast bar and coffee is stellar, Mulligans restaurant very good along with the staff running it. Overall I recommend
The staff were so helpful and polite, well worth the stay, if that was all there was to comment on. How ever they also had one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. All the meals were top notch. A must stay if you're looking for quality care and service.
This hotel is always clean and everything in working order. The breakfast and breakfast staff is over the top! Bring tip money because they deserve it!! Any time of year or day the staff is friendly and helpful! Love this place
Outside of downtown so you cannot really walk anywhere. However, good freeway access for doing day trips to other locations. Large rooms, nice beds and bedding. Very ample breakfast with hot and cold selections. Plenty to eat. Bar on sight. Fridge in rooms. Friendly staff with some good suggestions on restaurants and activities in the area
We travel quite a bit across the states and I can honestly say that this is my favorite hotel to stay at. I have never encountered an employee here who doesn't smile and offer to help if needed. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The restaurant food is delicious and served by friendly faces. The bar drinks are vert good. The prices are very reasonable. Overall the hotel is very welcoming and they make you feel at home.
The hotel severely overcharged me for a very small room with a queen sized bed and limited amenities. Keurig in room was broken. Found a bug in the bathroom and had someone smoking directly outside my window on the first floor. Breakfast was cold by 8 despite running til 9:30 with very limited options. Can get more for less almost anywhere else without fear of being scammed.
It was Clean. The staff were friendly. The price was good, they even gave us a discount as we were the for a medical appointment the next day. I have never had a complementary breakfast at a hotel that was hot with as many entrees offered. Hand down the best breakfast ever.
Erika at front desk was amazing. The staff at breakfast was great! Decent buffet breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, toasts, tea, coffee. Some fruit and cereal, etc… Beds are comfy! Pet friendly… great stop off the highway! Stay here!
We stayed here to visit our grandson for the 1st time who just turned 7 months. We had an 19 hr drive and stayed at many hotels along the way. By far this was the absolute BEST!!!!! Erica was AMAZING! She knew how important it was for us to have a nice large room to have family over as we visited and she cared so much about our stay. She always asked how each day went and if we needed anything to let her know. Thank you Erica. We will be back most definitely! I used the fitness room as well. It was perfect for what I needed. I used the treadmill several times. We also had to use the laundry room , nothing bad to say about any of it. It will be our go to hotel for every visit to see our grandson ❤️
I travel often and have stayed at different properties, from budget motels to high-end hotels. I can say without reservation that the Best Western Coeur d'Alene is among the best. Before I first stayed in a Best Western property many years ago, I envisioned the chain as one with budget motels lacking in quality and services. My first experience changed my opinion, and subsequent lodging across the U.S. has almost always been at Best Western properties. I have yet to be disappointed. While the quality of Best Western properties varies from location to location, (expectedly so, though always good), the BW Coeur d'Alene is, without a doubt, the best. The location is ideal, the property itself is modern and exceptionally well-maintained, the rooms are immaculate, the staff is friendly and helpful, the rate is reasonable, and the included breakfast is second to none. If you've never stayed at a Best Western property, you will undoubtedly be pleasantly surprised; if that BW happens to be in Coeur d'Alene, you're unlikely to look elsewhere for future lodging options.
This hotel went above and beyond to make our stay great. At check-in, the receptionist gave a thorough overview of the hotel features and provided a map to guide our parking choices. She gave us the welcome gift bag for our dog and also included info about the pet relief area. The breakfast was one of the best free breakfasts I've had in a long time. The toppings bar for the eggs and waffles included salsa and other yummy foods. The fruit was fresh, and there were so many options (2 meat types plus biscuits and gravy, many types of pastries). The coffee and tea station also had lots of options! The hotel was very clear and well decorated. If I had to offer one minor area of improvement, the mattress was not my favorite but I think that's always partially a personal thing. Thanks so much for your hospitality!
Great staff both friendly and helpful. Clean, well maintained property. Great included breakfast. Had a great lounge in the hotel, with good food and great service that really helped us unwind after a long day of travel.
The property was nice with an onsite restaurant, bar, pool and whirlpool. We happened to be there on a Friday night when they had live music with a gentleman who was quite good with his acoustical guitar. We ordered food and had drinks which were also quite good. Breakfast was served in the restaurant area and was quite good, the best I'd seen since before the pandemic began. The room was ok except for the bed. It was listed as a single queen bed but it felt more like a double bed. We felt like we barely fit. Not so good for two old people. The A/C worked well.
We just held out annual family reunion here. They provided us a lovely banquet room where we had a blast! The place was so clean and the staff very on top of everything. The banquet room was just down the hall from the indoor pool and hot tub. It made it very easy to take a break for a quick swim and to play with the kids. You really can't beat it, included full breakfast, live music in the lounge, very accommodating, and convenient location. For sure we will be back.
Warm, friendly staff accommodated our family reunion in one of many sizeable banquet rooms -- including constant refreshment of food/drink. Pool is open late and breakfast is open early. Great little sports bar too. Highly recommend!
Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and nice products in the room. Delicious food! We always look forward to staying there! The pool and spa area is a great place to gather. Can't wait for our next visit!
This hotel is always clean and has very friendly staff! The restaurant is great and has a fabulous salad bar! My daughter loves the pool and the rooms are very comfortable! My family and I love staying here!
Conveniently located; very helpful & friendly staff. Outstanding breakfast selections, well presented buffet. Food was absolutely delicious, with multiple items for choices. Wait staff were professional & friendly. Very clean & updated. Definitely a great place to stay!
The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to go and things to see. The onsite restaurant dinner was very good, bartender is very friendly. This inside pool was very relaxing. The hotel is so close to everything and very easy to get everywhere.
This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. We were delighted with the friendliness of the staff, the food and how clean everything was inside and out, We had laughed that we'd go back to Coeur d'Alene just to visit this hotel again for breakfast!
The location, the people, the breakfast, the lounge, the spacious and comfortable rooms and the great rate made this a perfect stay in CDA. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I visit that part of the state.
A really nice place to stay. Great breakfast nice bar and lounge and great staff. Front desk helped with airplane reservation and went beyond helpful. Pool was nice and clean. The bar staff was very attentive.
I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a restaurant, lounge, coffee in lobby, hot tub and pool, plus a fitness area. The food was excellent! Complimentary breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. I travel a ton for work, and this stay definitely made work more fun. It was also VERY clean!
We had a great stay! Very nice complimentary breakfast, it had a great variety to meet our whole parties needs, nice customer service/front desk help, anytime we had a question or needed help they were quick and efficient, clean rooms, great location. I'd definitely stay here again.
Great customer service by letting us check in early. Very clean room. Nice pool area. Awesome free breakfast with lots of variety. Good food at the restaurant they have in the hotel. All staff was helpful. Everyone seemed happy.
This inn is a credit to the Best Western Plus brand. Extraordinarily helpful and friendly people, clean rooms, quiet, well-maintained. An astoundingly amazing breakfast including an omelette station, lots of hot food, prepared perfectly. Well worth the price. A welcome stop on a long trip for us. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay, close to park and free breakfast. friendly and helpful staff. Having a pool and gym was great, food was very good at the hotel ,rooms and hotel very clean. We had a good stay and looking forward to another trip at Best western plus.
I have stayed at this Best Western several times in the past, and can say that this is a very nice Best Western hotel. Great, friendly staff. Best breakfast you will find at a hotel. The rooms are good size and the location is right off the interstate for easy access.
Very nice hotel with lots of amenities like an on-site restaurant. Very convenient off the highway, and next to a gas station. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent, with staff that went out of their way to accommodate us even though we arrived 10 minutes before they were supposed to close.
This facility was excellent and met or exceeded my expectations. In the past I had the opportunity to spend many weeks in motels several times a year covering areas from Florida to Alaska and California to Washington D.C.. This facility provides a place to stay above the norm for the price.
The entire staff were friendly and attentive and we were pleasantly surprised at the breakfast "crew". All aspects of our stay were to Best Western plus high standards as we have become to expect including the full hot breakfast.
This Best Western Plus in Couer d' Alene is super clean with quality bedding and towels and wonderful pool and jacuzzi as well as outstanding breakfast buffet. They even have a dog park. This has the same quality as Hampton Inn and Suites and great value for upscale comfort and stay. Please note that is a Best Western PLUS in Coeur d' Alene right off the freeway and NOT a Best Western (which from experience equates those to Wyndam Properties as unacceptable accomodations to the point that we rather sleep in our van). We would recommend this Best Western Plus in Cd'A. Great value and well worth your stay.
Easy freeway access to very clean and comfortable accommodations. Happy Hour with our delightful server, Jody, was a perfect end to a day of travel. Breakfast options were terrific. Front desk staff were very welcoming.
This Best Western was one of the nicest I have stayed at! Location convenient, rooms comfy and well equipped! Restaurant was great! The staff and customer service was exceptional! Will be returning next trip for sure!
I travel often, sometimes for business and sometimes for pleasure. I usually stay at Best Western properties because they are consistently well-maintained and typically offer a great value. My wife and I stay at the Best Western Coeur d'Alene (ID) several times a year, and have never been disappointed, (it is easily comparable to much higher priced hotels). The rooms are always very clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best we've ever enjoyed while travelling.
I held a conference at this hotel over the weekend for approx. 120 attendees. The hotel exceeded my expectations and assisted me in all my planning. It is a fabulous venue to host an event. many people traveled from out of state and were amazed by the hotel and its facilities. The food, the conference room, the staff and banquet manager were great. Everyone complimented the experience.
Very disappointed. Rooms were small. Beds were not very comfortable. Pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was stone cold. Don't get a room on the second floor, noises from roof extraction fans was terrible. Lounge was nice. Staff friendly. Oveer priced.
Best free breakfast of any hotel we've been to in the past few years. They have the friendliest staff, plenty of parking, clean, comfortable beds, great location, and warm pool. We felt welcome and safe. It was a great stay. Thank you!
We stopped here while in town and stayed for a night. The food in the restaurant was filling and appropriately priced, the atmosphere in the bar was fun, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a mishap in the pool area when we were there so we couldn't use the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book here the next time we're in town.
Great stay, excellent breakfast bar. Bar and grill are excellent. Absolutely centrally located. Great pool area for the kids. Be looking forward to coming back. If you're looking for a place to stay, This Hotel is Highly recommended
We attended the Steeling the Mind Conference in town. Every staff member was friendly, courteous, helpful, the food was great, and the beds very comfortable. We stayed here last year and will do so again next year. Thank you!!!
Amazing breakfast topped off a great stay at Best Western Plus CDA Inn. Quick check-in, clean, well appointed room and a restful night's sleep all at a great rate means I'll never stay anywhere else when I am in the CDA area.
Hotel lobby was very clean, staff is always friendly, and room was comfortable. I enjoy staying here when I come to town for business. The hotel is close to everything, which makes it very convenient.
We love it everyone was so nice and caring will stay again soon. Love how they didn't mind all the noise with all the gymnastic family's there. Hope to come back real soon and stay with u all your the best
While the stay was great, we had issues with charges. The room was booked in person with a gift card but they charged debit card and was told it was too difficult to reverse it. That's extremely stressful especially when it hits the bank account so a mini vacation turned into another stressor!
I travel a lot for business and finally decided to take a break and being my family (husband and 2 kids) to the triple play waterpark /arcade. The rooms are super clean ( I'm a psycho when entering a room before even bringing my belongings in) I have to check all the nooks and crannies. The staff that I didn't communicate with were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in the many years I've stayed at hotels, including about 30 best westerns. Thank you for making my family feel warm and welcome.
We were not planning to stay at a hotel...but we got a flat tire after hours and had to wait for morning to get it replaced. I reserved the room online on our way to town, the keys were ready for us at the counter when we got there. Fastest check in ever!
Have never found a more consistently clean , pleasant and enjoyable hotel to stay at. The included breakfast buffet is always clean and with a wide variety of foods to choose from, always satisfies ! just plain enjoyable to stay and great value!
Welcome to Idaho. Coming from a state with a mask mandate we were pretty surprised to enter the hotel and find not a singe staff or guest wearing a mask, despite this being the peak of the omicron surge.
Excellent place to stay. Very close to everything in CDA. Great room, Excellent breakfast. Bar and Lounge were great as well. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Will absolutely stay here again.
We love staying at the Coeur D'Alene Inn because it's convenient, the parking lot is spacious you can always find a place to park even if they are full, mulligans bar is wonderful and often has live music on the weekends, but you cannot hear the music past the lobby. The rooms are nice and quiet well kept, clean, everything we could ask for. The swimming pool is excellent, the staff is awesome. A really great place to stay! We stay here a few times a year and expectations are always met and we keep coming back - professional and pleasant, Convenient and modern, clean with great sheets and beds.
We love this Best Western, friendly staff, center of town, clean, great breakfast. They have live music on weekends. The pool is covered, yet wide open area to spread out. This is our first choice when staying in north Idaho.
Came to Coeure d Alene for a short shopping trip. When checking in we were informed that they had upgraded our room twice and ended up with a beautiful king suite. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a very nice place to stay.
Very pleasant staff in all areas of hotel. Very pet friendly; with many doors to go outside throughout building. Easy across the both highways and shopping. Nice having restaurant and bar on site. Would certainly return if in area
A regular 1st night stay on a long road trip, always look forward to the clean rooms, good food, friendly service and a hot soak in the hot tub after a long day on the road. This hotel is by far the best bang for my buck. The kids love the pool and good breakfast selection.
We stayed for a few nights going to several different places in Coeur D'Alene. The location was great not on the lake but easy access to it. The B.W. Inn has a restaurant, lounge, fitness room and indoor pool. All of which we used. They also has some conference rooms which we didn't use. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so because of location, friendly staff and on site amenities.
The TV was not smart, the guest were loud in the court yard and running the hallways, and the room was outdated. I expected to be comfortable but my back even hurt the next morning from the bed. I don't have back issues. The best part of our stay was the nice staff.
Brandi at the front desk is so very helpful and bubbly. Christina and Katie work the weekends and are of the exact same quality. They are always cheerful, happy, and helpful in Jesus Good Name. The hotel is warm, quiet, clean and very quaint. I am a travel RN and expect excellent quality for the value which the Best Western Plus of Coeur d' Alene provides without question. The breakfast is very fulfilling and there are several amenities and a free bus system locally that is safe and worthy of utilizing to enjoy the coffee shops, library, parks and absolutely gorgeous Lake Coeur d' Alene that God has given to us. I am a fourth generation native of this area, and I am glad to finally be home once again to enjoy all the beauty and grace in the name of our Great Lord and Savior. Amen to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. Please come and visit, and be sure to stay at the Best Western Plus on Appleway right off the freeway on Interstate 90 and 95. You'll be very thankful no matter what time of the year you visit!!!
This hotel was one of the best that I have stayed at. The location was clean inside/out and everyone was friendly and helpful. The free morning was one of the best breakfasts with a variety of hot food..I would strongly recommend this hotel.Best sleep ever.
I travel several times throughout the year and usually stay at Best Western properties because of the value and quality of the properties. In general, Best Western properties are comparable to many full service hotels, but far more reasonably priced. I've stayed at many BW properties over the years, and while some have been better than others, all were clean, reasonably priced, ideally located, and comfortable. However, the BW Plus Coeur d'Alene is the finest BW property in which we've stayed. The property is well-maintained, staff are helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet is excellent, and the rooms, though basic, were very comfortable.
Had a nice stay at the Best Western Plus and we found the location to be fantastic! The hotel was close to Silverwood and lots of other Coeur d'Alene attractions. Being close to the highway, it was also convenient for an overnight stay. Breakfast was busy, but nice that it was included in the price of our room.
Upon arriving the lady at the front desk welcomed me in, she was very pleasant during check in. She explained the breakfast and lounge hours and about the live music on Friday and Saturday. My room was very clean and well stocked. Onsite restaurant had good food, bartender was very friendly and told me things to do in the area.
All was well until my socks got soaked through because of wet carpeting. I'm glad room came with hair dryer. 20 minutes later socks were dry. Management didn't seem too worried about this. They said on checkout, "We'll look into this." No compensation except , "We're sorry."
On a westward trip down highway 2 up north. Decided to drop down to Coeur d'Alene for a break. Stayed here for a night. Very nice, everyone friendly. Always go to the lake for a view. We decided to eat in the bar area, It was nice, Good food, nice atmosphere, Headed back north the next dat.
My daughter and I were traveling very late in the evening. We had a very frustrating day of setback in our flights and travel. It was about 2 am when we decided to just find a hotel and crash for the night. I wish I could've remembered the employees name at the front desk, but he was so very friendly and helpful! He was the beat part of our travels that day. The hotel beds were very comfy!
We spent the night here on a long road trip so the hotel had lots of previous hotel stays to compare to. It excelled. We were greeted and in our room promptly, the room was quite nice, clean, and comfortable. The dining room provided an excellent meal for dinner and when it was more crowded at breakfast (we are covid careful) we asked if we could take ours back to our room and not only was it OK but they provided a tray. Gloves were in use for handling serving pieces. All staff we interacted with were wonderful. Would absolutely choose this hotel again if we were in the area!
The staff at the Best Western Plus in Coeur d'Alene Idaho make the stay here worth it. The rooms are not the most upto date or that spacious, but a family of four (with smaller children) can be comfortable during their stay. The restaurant food was amazing (not the continental breakfast) when you order from the menu. The location was nice, close to Silverwood and no GPS required. It's a straight shot north to Dilverwood and south back to the hotel.
We visited this property since it was closest to the event we were attending, "Too Broke for Sturgis" at Cruisers Bar. Its located right off the freeway. Plenty of SAFE parking for your Motorcycles and well lit and clean. The rooms has your basic BW bathroom items, Keurig coffee maker, fridge and microwave and the rooms are well stocked an clean as well as the hallway leading to the rooms. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We loved the coconut shrimp!! The breakfast was pretty good as well, you have the BW basics, waffle maker, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, dry muffins (don't eat them they can soak up Lake Coer d'Alene), biscuts & gravy and of course the coffee which taste like garbage. Hiking trails nearby (Tubs) and close to downtown for tourist shopping during the day, than in the evening hit up "Cruisers Bar" you won't regret it unless you act stupid and throw you out. I figured this place was $300 a nice because it is in Coeur d'Alene.
We love staying at the BW Plus in CDA. Positive employees, great breakfast, clean facilities! The only negative- which won't keep us from returning- is the lounge shuts down at 9 - no matter if there are 2 customers or a full lounge - what a lost opportunity.
This Best Western is a very nice hotel and very close to Lake Coeur d' Alene. The city center is also close with shopping, bars and restaurants. There is also many restaurants and just about anything you may need just a block or two from the hotel.
Excellent customer service as soon as we arrived. Very clean. Nice lounge/bar/restaurant. Nice rooms! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was delicious. Had access to wifi. would definitely reserve here next time.
If you are going to Silverwood stay at this hotel. Their breakfast is fantastic. The customer service has always been top notch. The staff was friendly and I got our tickets from the front desk which is so much easier then getting them at the park.
My complaint relates to how the room was advertised vs. what we found. We had looked at pics of a king-sized courtyard room that had a table with 3 chairs, pillow top bed, and sink/vanity outside of the bathroom. We were traveling with our 7 year old son and those attributes were important to us and worth the $200 more cost vs other similar hotels. We had to switch to a double queen courtyard room at checkout and it appeared the room attributes would match the king-sized room description. We were unhappy to find the room was completely different. The beds were hard (not pillow top), there was a table with 1 chair so we couldn't eat together, and the sink/vaniety was in the bathroom which makes getting ready much longer. Outside of being disappointed in the room, the hotel amenities and staff were great. Great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, and lovely pool area.
The Coeur d'Alene Best Western Plus is a fantastic place to stay while visiting Northern Idaho. The staff, facilities, rates, and customer service are impeccable and outstanding! My wife and I have stayed there several times during our relocation to CDA. We highly recommend this Best Western Plus for all travelers.
We just got back from a family trip to Coure D' Alene and stayed at the Best Western. The staff was over the top accommodating for our group of 12. The whole process from reservations, to dinner, rooms, cleanliness, pool, drinks in the lounge... it was all above and beyond. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking.
I was a bit skeptical about staying in a location so close to the freeway and major streets, but I was surprised to find that the room was quiet and comfortable, even over the noisy 4th of July weekend. The room exceeded our expectations. We didn't use the restaurant, but did have a couple of drinks in the lounge. They had live music on Friday night that was nice, and they have quite a few TVs to watch sports. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay.
This hotel is at a busy intersection and at first glance it doesn't look like much, but Surprise, it is actually a lovely hotel with excellent service! It also has a Convention Center, a bar and a restaurant. We stayed 2 nights in a very comfortable, large and pristine king-bedded room. Beds were extremely comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. Breakfasts were a full hot buffet with many choices using real dishes and silverware. The pool was delightful & is covered but doors also open to the outside with additional seating. This hotel is extremely well-managed and the staff seems happy working here. It is also a short drive to downtown Coeur D'Alene. For us it was perfect!
Great location off highway and very nice staff. Pool was nice and clean. Was really great at answering requests for extra amenities and making the stay as comfortable as possible. Will recommend to friends and family
If you wanted to find a great location, great breakfast buffet, bar service, and decent restaurant service with reasonable prices, look no further. Easy access to the interstate and only 5 minutes to downtown, shopping, and numerous other restaurants. Has a great gym with working machines, weights, pools, hot tub, and my room was always cleaned with just a phone call when I would be out of the room visiting the many local attractions. I would definitely stay here again if in this area. I had a ground floor interior room and it was very quiet. You can request one near the pool or near the bar. One minor comment is that the bar closes at 9 PM. If you get up early, the gym opens at 6 AM, but the long hallways and 2 floors make for excellent climate controlled walking, plus the desk agent will give you pods for the Keurig.
Great place to stay! Clean and quiet. Friendly staff. Pricing is very competitive - especially if you sign up for their rewards program. Bedding is very comfortable. Room amenities include microwave, small k-cup coffee maker, and mini-fridge. The complimentary breakfast buffet is amazing! Wide variety of options, fresh and delicious. Restaurant staff are friendly and efficient. Location has easy access to freeway and main roads.
My wife and I spent one night here on our way to South Dakota. For the most part this is a standard Best Western. The beds were good. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely. The location is fairly close to the freeway and not that far from downtown. The two things we liked about this one was the pool area and the breakfast. The pool was enclosed and was very nicely done. Their is a restaurant on site as part of the hotel. As usual with Best Western, the breakfast was included with the room and was one of the best breakfasts I have had at a Best Western. We would definitely stay here again .
Not only does Best Western Plus in CDA offer great rooms, comfortable beds and amazing atmosphere, the breakfast is the BEST anywhere. Additionally, the price was more than reasonable and the location extremely convenient. Thai is a great place to stay!
1. Fast wifi - I was able to work on my laptop with no wifi delays 2. Great breakfast - buffet with good gluten free options like eggs, bacon, sausage and fruit. Other than that, the room and hotel seemed average. I didn't use the pool. The room was fine but I expected nicer for $141.
We loved our stay at the Best Western. The staff were so attentive to our needs. This hotel provided a great "home base" for our stay and excursions in Coeur d'alene. We had a great time. Thanks to all at the Best Western!
[verse 1] Idaho Where I long to go The Lake Coeur D'Alene hotel needs, budget please [verse 2] yes, i know, best western i go 90 overpass turn in to red sign it glew [instrumental break with the saddest harmonica solo ever] i meant ‘glow' letters on chateau staying there depicts basic rooms, clean bathrooms [verse 3] but although Rain or sleet or snow pool and hot tub are under below glass roof, conference rooms go beside her in my own private ida the place not skid row in Idaho
THE ROOMS were very nice and the beds excellent the showers were instant hot water and stayed that way none of the running cold in a few minutes like so many Motels. I would recommend this motel to any one wanting a nice but reasonably priced place to stay
Great stay rooms are clean well kept and comfortable. Free breakfast in the morning is very good. Staff are easy going and professional as well as the Mulligans employees. The internet is the best that I have found, bring your Xbox!
I stay here about 12-15 times a year. Friendly staff, clean and well appointed rooms, good internet and a great lounge. The rooms are quiet, beds are comfortable and the 12pm check out is great when arriving late.
Booked online, check-in was easy and staff told us the easiest way to get to our room without having to go thru the lobby (during COVID). Room was clean and buffet breakfast was handled well. Gloves were made available to breakfast guests (although not everyone used them). I felt as safe as possible, considering that it was a buffet.
We like staying here for several reasons and the staffs positive friendly attitudes are great. The rooms are very nice and clean with lots of room. We eat some of our dinners here but the hotel is close enough to other restaurants to eat out if you want. The food is very good and the free breakfast has a good selection of tasty foods. We stay here when we are traveling to do business in Spokane, Washington because we prefer this place over the Spokane hotels.
My kids loveeee the pool in the hotel couldn't take them out of there :-) the water temperature was very comfortable . The restaurant in the hotel has amazing food and great service. We slept in late so missed breakfast ..but even though they were serving lunch we didn't have a problem to get breakfast.
We had a room in the courtyard that was only steps to the pool/hot tub. They were both great! The free breakfast was amazing especially during COVID compared to other places. Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable!
Outstanding property well managed and very well operated by loyal personnel. everyone I talked to was extremely gracious, kind and helpful in all things customer service. This hotel is well located in the Coeur D`Alene area and very central to all local shopping and Lake front entertainment. extremely comfortable and very well appointed property. Great Bar and Restaurant with and outstanding breakfast buffet included with the room.
It was very nice and clean and I will definitely be going back there to stay. The staff was great and very friendly. I like that there was a breakfast buffet that you got to have in the morning and not just a few things to choose from.
We have stayed in half a dozen Best Westerns over the last nine months. The one in Couer D'Alene seemed to take no regard to public safety and protocols. No hand sanitizers, wipes, etc to be seen. No signage as posted requesting people to wear masks as other Best Westerns had. On entering the hotel behind another unmasked couple, they were neither offered masks not told about any policy, nor asked to mask up. We were seriously unnerved by this and almost cancelled our reservation. As it was getting dark and we thought this may be an anomaly we decided to stay. Instead of giving us a list to check off for a bagged breakfast to lessen exposure, we discovered the dining room open to the public. After the fourth unmasked person we met going to our room, we sequestered ourselves and left promptly the next morning. The lax attitude toward public safety especially towards seniors and those immune compromised compared to the other Best Westerns (some in Idaho) was atrocious. Paradoxically, we went to Costco in the same city and we're treated with large sign and reception stating the public must wear masks and everyone did. Needless to say we will not go back to that hotel but will find another with a more responsible world view.
Loved our accommodations. Pet friendly even on top floor. Only thing I didn't get that I asked for was a regular blanket. I hate those comforters. Free goodies, wine& beer, but just a little disappointed in breakfast selection. Probably damn Covid reasons. Waitstaff even gave my poodle a turkey paddy. Will return, good location and parking.
This is by far one of the cleanest and most professional properties we have ever stayed at. The cleanliness was exceptional and the staff very professional. One of the best breakfast buffets we have ever had. When we checked in, we even got a special puppy package for our pet. If I could give this hotel a higher rating than 5 stars, I would.
We stayed here on our way to visit family and were so impressed that we booked again for our return a week later. Both times the rooms were exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable and staff were courteous and friendly! It was an excellent hotel and experience! We will make this our go to from now on!
The Service was excellent, the staff very friendly, it was extremely quite, the beds were comfortable . The location was great as it was easy access from the freeway. Also great price I would highly recommend this location.
What an amazing breakfast buffet. Absolutely love this hotel and the staff. Don our server this morning was outstanding! He is so welcoming and friendly. It was a treasure having him help us this morning. All the staff is just amazing. We will definitely be back!! The Sotins
I travel several times throughout the year and usually stay in Best Western properties. Although some are nicer than others, I have never been disappointed. The Best Western Coeur d'Alene looks unassuming from the outside, but the interior is anything but. I would rate the quality of this "motel" as comparable to any mid-price, full service hotel. The lobby was immaculate and inviting, the breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly. For the price, you won't find a better option.
Always the best stay. Great staff. Housekeeping, awesome as always! Restaurant and Lounge, very attentive and great attitudes! Front desk, THE BEST! A company is NOTHING without their employees. Even when going through a pandemic you have people who'll work through it all. Hotel employees should be considered "essential workers" as well. Management here, are EXTREMELY FORTUNATE to have such great and hard working people.
We stayed for six nights. They accept guests with large dogs and we were almost bitten TWICE by an aggressive Pit Bull whose owner could barely control it. Thus it is not safe for children as long as they allow large, aggressive dogs. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are adequate, though small. The hotel needs some updating---our bathroom door was warped and did not fully close, and there are no vent fans for such a small bathroom. The door knob came loose but we tightened it. The beds are good quality, and they do have ironing boards. Bring your plugs---the walls between the rooms are very thin, and there is a lot of noise from the hallway.
The BW Coeur d'Alene Inn is a gem in the BW family. Everything from the accommodations to the food and to staff the was outstanding. We felt that they really wanted our visit to be enjoyable. We will be back!!
We rarely write reviews but thought this experience warranted some comments. This was the first hotel we've visited that had paper-thin walls (maybe we've just been lucky until now). We heard way to much from the neighbors, even when they were simply talking on the phone. No issues with the staff and special kudos go out to those in the dining area. Just wished the customers respected the covid rules more strictly. Not surprised cases are increasing given what we saw.
We gave the hotel 4 stars for their service, price and lovely breakfast. Unlike the review that did not feel they took the COVID-19 serious we would disagree. We appreciate Idaho taking it serious and requiring mask but not freaking out! The room was clean, the service friendly, lovely buffet breakfast and you can't beat the price!! We stayed one night on our way to Montana. Coeur D'Alene is a wonderful town.
The hotel was very nice, but seriously, a breakfast buffet with no masks or social distancing? THAT is unacceptable. Dont turn an international health pandemic political and not follow health guidelines. Come one Idaho!
We were greeted by friendly staff. The hotel is very nice & clean. The room was great and the beds were super soft. We ate at the in house restaurant. It was ok,as normal higher priced ,but the convenience was nice. I did notice when we hit the freeway east there's a cracker barrel on the same street as hotel.
Well kept nice property, centrally located to everything. Skip the grub but staff and everything else was great. On site restaurant was rated good but just so so in my opinion, highly suggest skipping breakfast or have them heat it up before you eat.
After 24 nights on the road, each at a different hotel, we found the Most Outstanding one! This place rates a 10 in every category! The staff, bar, food, rooms, beds were excellent. This should be a model hotel that others strive to be like!! Highly recommend BW Coeur d'Alene Idaho!!!
So nice to finally have breakfast at a table with choices! Room was good and bed was soft. Pillows were all foam and too fat. This was a good choice for a hotel but I probably would have stayed downtown if I had done more research.
Exhausted after a 6 hr drive, we pulled into this lovely BW! Also starving, but unable to get a table at our favorite restaurant until late, we were pleased to see that there was one in-house here! Brandi cheerfully checked us in! We found a table at Mulliga n's and had a yummy meal in the bar area, but there's a restaurant section too. Thank you, Crystal R, for excellent service...Daniel and Henry in the kitchen. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, sparkling clean bathroom, etc. And, free hot breakfast in the morning, cooked on sight! Thank you, Josephine, for starting our day so joyfully! We will certainly be back!
Horrible hotel I booked trough Priceline and we only got one queen bed for 5, luckily we had inflatable mattress, we got charged $210 for this room. The pool is very small only and crowded. The service was good, but the room smelled so bad. Will never be back!
we had a dirty towel in our room covered in makeup Toilet did not work properly and at breakfast we found a hair in my wifes oatmeal....When we pointed these issues out to the from desk the lady just handed my wife a card and said you can call him and let him know...We have been BW Rewards memebers for several yrs and only stay at BW properties this is one we will never return to
Employees were super helpful and nice. Very comfortable bed in the room and pool area for the kids. We didn't get a chance to try breakfast since everyone slept in. They said the hotel was full but it was quiet and we slept great and we were on the first floor!
Great stay, as usual! Staff here always goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for all guests!! From housekeeping to front desk to restaurant staff. Awesome people, great environment. Home away from home, definitely. :)
We stopped in Coeur dAlene for a day/night to enjoy the beauty of the lake. My family of 5 was not impressed with this hotel. It is in a very busy, fast food area. Nothing nice around hotel. It was about a 10 minute busy drive to the lake front/park. The staff were not friendly and had no interest in giving suggestions on what to do in area. Our room smelled like cleaned up pet urine. But the room/bathroom were clean. Trash cans around hotel were overflowing and smelled at each entrance. The breakfast was the only saving grace for this hotel. Due to COVID, we ordered our breakfast from a menu and were served our food- restaurant style. Service was great and food was great. We were pleasantly surprised by this. For the price, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Service was great, hotel clean, nice pool, great hot breakfast. We couldn't have asked for a better Hotwire deal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend and wished we were staying longer. Centrally located.
My wife and I was driving from San Juan Island and was having a pretty crappy day with things going wrong all over the place. An hour and a half detour, not being able to find any food for hours, we just needed to relax and a hot tub would do the job. After calling this place we decided to go ahead and book a room at this place and thank God we did. Kristina and Grace turned things around for us and a really crappy day was made a little better by these two gems. The service at this place is top notch especially from Kristina and Grace and the pool and Hot tub has amazing hours and allow their guests to relax. Thank you Kristina and Grace we will return because of these two wonderful employees.
The hotel is in a convenient location, pleasant staff and clean. Room Pros: -Big Rooms -Clean -Nice decor -Comfortable mattress & pillows Cons: -The room we were in was a corner room next to a busy door. People were coming and going a lot which woke my husband and I a few times. That was a unfortunate as we were tired and wanted a good nights sleep. -The fan in the bathroom didn't work.
Very clean and bed was excellent. Check-in was quick and easy. Amenities could be updated but overall a good stay. Restaurant was excellent and overlooking the river was lovely. The food was great and service was great as well. Location was super being close to the river and town.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. My family and I enjoyed the swimming pool til they were to tired to swim. And we lived the fact that we could order our complimentary breakfast to take back to our room.
This BW is centrally located for all you may want to visit while in the area. The staff was cordial, it is clean & quiet and offers all the regular amenities. I've stayed there befor and will again when traveling through.
From the time of check in to check out. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Very beautiful property as well! The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh as well. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family..
I loved the lobby and the lady running the check-in counter was a hoot. The bar/restaurant had good food. The room was clean and comfortable. I will stay here again. I travel for work and usually pull a boat and parking is great. A little tight going in and out of the main drive but, not a huge deal.
On our way to Yellowstone we stopped here. No reservation but they were able to accommodate us on the bottom floor! Very inviting lobby with a fire going and freshly made cookies! Room was clean, bed was cozy and towels were fluffy! Had complimentary breakfast downstairs in Mulligans the next morning. Staff was polite and food good. Would definitely staff there again.
This hotel is great. There's a large pool with oversized hot tub. Theres a great restaurant on site with room service available. I travel often and always stay here. Cant say enough good things about this place.
We had a great and comfortable stay. The beds were very good . The included buffet full breakfast was delicious and a great time saver. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was friendly and helpful.
We stayed here for a night. Clean room and hotel. Very accommodating for us to park our long towing rig in the back. Said we were welcome to use as many spaces as we needed, which isn't very common, so thank you very much for that! Excellent food in Mulligan's restaurant, which is in the hotel. It was very busy, but the wait staff were so friendly, and worked hard to get customers their orders as quickly as possible. We sat in the bar, which was fun and had a great atmosphere. Even live entertainment, which I don't really see at hotels. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here. If we ever come back to Couer d'Alene, this is where we'll be staying!
This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and kept up to date. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of options and food was hot. Great night of sleep with minimal outside noise. Easy access to freeway and many options for dining in or out.
This is a great hotel with many close by places but also includes a great resturant on site that has a large menu with many options for just about everyone. They also have a fitness room and a great breakfast.
We were not expecting this great of a hotel in Couer de alene Spotless clean, nice decor and great restaurant & lounge Ate breakfast lunch and dinner Customer service exceptional Great location near fwy but very quiet. Updated room and bed very comfortable. Can't say enough positive comments Super happy highly recommend
Very clean, wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful in the business center, very pet friendly and kind to my animal! I will stay at best Western of Coeur d' Alene every time. I have also stayed at the resort and would read this Best Western right along with it on quality and cleanliness of the room and staff.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and nice. Centrally located for whatever you want to do in Coeur D'Alene. Breakfast was a nice touch and done well. We will definitely be staying here again.
This is an older hotel but the service and rooms are very good, and is in a great location. This hotel has one of the BEST breakfast selections of any free breakfast you will encounter. Great service and location as it also serves as a regular resturant.
The staff professional and friendly, the restaurant and bar/lounge top notch, everything is on site at this hotel. The trout is to die for, the best trout I have ever eaten. All the food was prepared wonderfully. Exceptional service inside and out. There was a lot of snow on the ground so when you have everything you need on site, its very simple and take the stress away so you can enjoy your visit
The overall experience was quite good. Restaurant food selection is very good, staff very courteous and professional. Room was very nice, very clean and well set up. My only negative would be the bar could use a better porter, or stout on tap.
The staff is amazing, not just in one department but in all aspects of the hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious, and have wonderful amenities. We came up for a hockey tournament, the hotel is in a central location to just about everything you would need.
We stayed the night after one of the comedy shows. The bar stayed open a little later to accommodate the people from comedy night and the breakfast was wonderful in the morning. It made for a great in-town getaway night. We look forward to staying again for the next comedy night in March.
The staff at this location were helpful and friendly. The complimentary hot breakfast was a nice added touch. The pet friendly room was very clean and they even provided a feeding dish. There was good value at a great location.
The Hotel was clean and Mulligan restaurant was average. But I will never do another New Year Eve celebration again here. The pre party at Mulligian sports bar was a flop. The Band they had misrepresented and advertised wrong they said they played 60,70,80s music. The band took 2 hours to set up didn't start until 9:00pm and the only music they played was 50,60,70's. Seriously I felt like I was in a a nursing home the band members were so old in there 70's-80's. The old man that was on the saxophone was more interested in his phone on stage then playing his instrument. There music was horrible it was so off tune and muffled. You could tell when they were just trying to get by on the song, This was such a waste of money I wish we never bought tickets to it who ever hired this band should seriously look for a new job this was not entertainment. We left after 45 minutes hoping it would get better all it did is get worse. We went back to our room because there was better entainment on the tv then this band. We walked back to the convention hall where this band was at 11:30 it was so bad there was only about 15 people left at the party the band wasn't any better we left for good and watched the ball drop on TV. If I knew it was going to be like this I would have stayed home or gone to other celebration we were invited to. They should have given everyones money back that paid for tickets.
great hotel, close to everything that we needed to do, easy access to hotel, pool and hot tub great ways to relax at end of day. breakfast was good as well as good food in restaurant in general. great overall experience
The stay at this property was our 4th or 5th time. Every time we stay they meet or exceed my expectations. This is why I pick this hotel. Good price for the quality of the stay. The staff are great also.
We highly recommend this hotel, we always stay there when visiting Coeur D'Alene, ID. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is delicious and my husband enjoyed the pool and the hot tub.
Our first stay at the BW+ Cd'A Inn was most enjoyable. The facility and room were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Mulligan's is a great restaurant and the complimentary breakfast is exceptional. Don't hesitate to give them a try!
Hotel staff were very helpful. Pet friendly hotel made our travel easy. Room was very pleasant and roomy. Very convenient location close to the interstate in Coeur D'alene. Hotel was very accommodating to our needs.
The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was way more than I have ever seen for a continental hotel breakfast, super good-fresh food. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a restraurant and bar in the hotel (which we didn't get a chance to enjoy), but next time we stay we will check it out. All the staff that we came in contact with were super nice, helpful and friendly! We will for sure stay here again!
Location and Convenience excellent Staff excellent and very helpful. Friendly Services and amenities excellent. Downstairs sports bar a lot of fun! Food at the bar was great! Breakfast excellent. Great experience!
The Best Western is clean - well organized - quiet - breakfast is well done and a newspaper to boot. It is in a good location close to freeway. The staff was helpful and courteous. Checking in and out was a breeze.
Great stay at BW Couer D' Alene. Right off the 90 and 95. Restaurant and bar on site. Full breakfast free with room. Restaurant had great food for dinner. Coffee and refrigerator in room. If you needed more coffee or anything, it was a call away. Convenient gas station and store right next door. Will absolutely stay there again.
Our room was wonderful. Clean and comfy bed. Front staff at check in was quick and efficient. Housekeeping was friendly. Everything was great until I headed to the breakfast bar Saturday morning. It looked like a war zone! Food all over the floors, dried ketchup and other food remnants stuck to the breakfast bar and to the hot dishes. Nothing had been replenished and there was no one around to ask for help. Sunday morning was no better. Restaurant was packed with a line for the buffet-problem was-there was very limited food left. Food wasn't being replenished, plates were crusty and dirty and so was the silverware. There were 3 or 4 waitresses that did not clean any tables off and were too busy talking to friends to even help anyone. My husband waved twice to a waitress to see if we could get the table cleaned or a menu to order breakfast and they just walked by. We grabbed coffee and left. The place was so dirty and everything was unattended. It looked like it was run by a bunch of toddlers.
Had an enjoyable time. Very nice room, great breakfast and playing with my granddaughter in pool was fun. Got a great night of sleep. Room was well supplied with everything I could think of.. Friendly staff. What can I say? Try it out.
The Best Western Plus Coeur D'Alene Inn is a very clean and up dated motel that is convenient located to CDA, Post Falls, and Spokane for some of the best shopping in the area.Their prices are reasonable for the area.
Great staff. Beds are comfortable. Rooms spacious and clean. Great breakfast. So quiet....can't say enough good things about this hotel. I have stayed at many hotels during my vacation and have been completely unhappy until now
I stay in Best Westerns most of the time when I travel. This is one of the best! Nice clean rooms. The complementary breakfast was amazing! A huge spread of breakfast items or you could order off the menu. Very nice staff also. I will definitely stay here again.
The hotel was clean, in a nice area, and had a nice restaurant/lounge on the premises. The free breakfast was a buffet, and it was excellent... a nice surprise. I would stay hear again in a heartbeat.
IF your in Coeur D' Alene this is the place to stay to avoid any problems in which you might have run into at other hotel. These people know how to make your stay enjoyable. Will be staying there anytime I'm in the area.
Contacted several hotels in the area and this one was the friendliest and easiest. Seemed to appreciate our interest. Beds were super comfy. Food was great as was the customer service. Will be back and will refer.
This is a fairly typical Best Western property. Their less expensive rooms have a single, queen size bed and are tiny. What makes this BW stand out is their awesome breakfast. Good service and good value for the area.
I stay here alot and it is always clean. the staff is great and you really dont need to go anywhere as the food is great. the only con would be the breakfast options i would like to see a change as i stay there alot but for the average travler it is good.
Very good restaurant and bar area. Nice location and pleasant staff. Pool and hot tub too! Convenient to highways. Stayed at several best Western Plus motels with refrigerators in the rooms, but this one is superior to most.
Spent 2 nights here on a business trip. The place was very clean and the staff was great. Room was very clean, comfy bed and a huge TV. It was really great to relax in there. Breakfast buffet was probably the best included breakfast I have ever had. Real food, real bacon, lots of choices and pretty good coffee. One drawback was the restaurant closed at 9. Seemed early for a hotel. Overall, a great stay.
We stayed here two nights in a one bed queen room (with microwave and refrigerator). I have to say the hotel is very quiet at night so we slept very well even being next to the guest laundry room and not too far from the elevator. The beds are comfortable, the only complaint I have is the sheets are not soft but kind of on the scratchy side. The room was very clean and well maintained. There are elevators which are nice when you are on the second floor. The buffet breakfast which is included with your room was fantastic - hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, french toast, a variety of muffins and breads. You can't lose with this breakfast. We ate in the restaurant one night and the prices are reasonable and the food was good - fast service! All staff were wonderful to deal with from the front counter staff, the restaurant staff, and even the maids. Parking is abundant and well lite. It is close to Costco and other grocery stores. We were very happy with our stay and would stay again should we be in that area.
I thought this place was fine. Super efficient check in. Friendly staff and good free WiFi. Clean and comfortable. Restaurant food was good in the evening, there is also a bar. Breakfast was fine too although it utilized a lot of disposable ware. Downtown area is quite a distance away.
This Best Western Plus is right off the highway and the perfect choice. The rooms are clean and up to date , and the hot tub is a great asset. Should we have a need, this will be our go to place in the future.
Great service, room size great / updated and price reasonable . Free breakfast in morning very nice and a wide range of food, free morning paper. Right in town and next to freeway. I would stay here again
We try to book best western each trip As I need special accommodations and they have a good selection that serves me well. Haven't had a bad night at any of the Best Western hotels except for one in Utah outside of Zion National Park. I took a fall of 40-50 feet and got a free helicopter to St Geoege. When my wife went to check out and gather up our luggage they were less than helpful and charged us for that night. She was in no mood to contest it and I was in surgery.
Amenities were great as usual, as the service was exceptional. Rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast, WiFi, and Pool were great! Keep up the good work! I will continue to stay here as long as I visit the CDA area.
I just was married there last weekend and it was wonderful. The honeymoon suite's hot tub was just fantastic to lounge in and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean and there was a newspaper under our door in the morning. We switched rooms during our stay and they were able to move our things between rooms for us while we were out and about getting married. The reception room was easy for all the guests to find and they decorated it in our colors and provided centerpieces. The servers at the bar were knowledgeable and attentive. All the staff were completely on top of things, making sure everything was perfect for us on our big day and even accommodated a number of last minute requests. The food was scrumptious and the steak was perfectly cooked. For the guests that stayed overnight, we even had our after party in the pool which stayed open until 11.
So amazed with how all the staff says hello and genuinely asking if they can help answer any questions or make my stay more comfortable. From breakfast to getting shuttles scheduled - the staff was so nice. Room was very comfortable and clean. Stayed here for a conference that was hosted in nearby resort-the guest at other location had horror stories for such an upscale location. This Best Western never gave me a reason to complain. So much enjoyed my stay!
We have stayed here many times. We love the service, the bar/restaurant right in the hotel, the drinks, the food, the location. However this time we had one complaint....the food came to us cold for dinner and the breakfast food was cold too. The food tasted great, as usual, but the temp was cold. I think it went a bit downhill since Gene retired! :-)
Clean, convenient hotel stay for a one-night business trip. Arrival and departure front desk was friendly. Restaurant dinner was convenient, open until 10 pm for my late arrival, and morning breakfast was also adequate, comfortable, clean and convenient for my quick eat-coffee and departure for business that day.
We stayed at this BWP during a sixteen-day cross-country trip. I evaluate hotels based on cleanliness, comfort, value, convenience, and friendliness. This hotel checked all the boxes. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and price was reasonable. It's near the highway. Staff was friendly, and check-in was easy. They provided a treat bag for our dog and had a dog bowl in our room for her use. The breakfast buffet was above average for this type of hotel with real scrambled eggs and all the other typical breakfast offerings. Highly recommend this place.
Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Room was clean, well appointed. Staff were pleasant to interact with, excellent service and food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Would stay here again.
We have stayed here for the past two years and have always left feeling like it was another great getaway. This hotel is very clean and always welcoming. The rooms are nicely decorated and inviting. Will definitely be back next time!
This is a first class hotel without the exorbitant fees of other great hotels. During our entire vacation every aspect of staying at the Best Western was excellent and peaceful. We will stay here again on our next Coeur d'Alene holiday.
Stayed at this hotel on our way to a car show in Great Falls. It was conveniently located and we found a great restaurant Cosmic Cowboy Grill that you must check out. The trip on both legs was at this location and met up with friends who stayed at the same hotel and we introduced them to the restaurant and said they had a great experience also.
Very old property and stinks! No where near the value for the cost to stay PLEASE travel the 9.5 miles more to post falls it has a new and what looks like very nice best western plus property. If I would have known it was there I definitely would not have stayed at this horrible property. I was embarrassed and ashamed I brought my wife to this place.
Enjoyed my stayed at the Best Western Plus CDA Inn, the staff is so friendly, going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I would recommend this Inn to all. The service was outstanding, staff very friendly and they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The cleanliness in this hotel is exceptional, they go above and beyond. The courtyard is so relaxing to enjoy coffee in the morning, or enjoy the pool and hot tub, and the exercise room.
I called to make a reservation for 2 persons,2 nights, requested senior discount. The person at the reservation counter took the reservation and my debit card information; then said, " that will be $256, with tax and senior discount". The room was clean and quiet and the hotel is in a very convenient location, so no complaints there. When I went to check out, I found that I owed over $500. Shocked would be an understatement. Our room was clear down the hall, away from the entrance door and the elevator;. I was surprised that since I had requested the senior discount that we had to walk so far. All in all, I felt like I was ripped off.
My two sisters and I took my elderly folks back to CDA so they could enjoy a good, old fashioned 4th ofJuly where they grew up and met over 70 years ago. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of places to stay. The front desk was fabulous and the accommodations were top-notch; the breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had. I can't wait to stay here again and HIGHLY recommend booking your stay here.
Great location in town.... easy to get anywhere.... everything around it... hotel offers so much... amazing continental breakfast... even a omelette bar one morning.... many other amenities..pool, lounge, restaurant
The room was fantastic. Clean, modern. Had a good smell to it. Super comfortable. Had a fairly good view! The service was very good. The employees were nice and very helpful. They gave us a map to our room. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding as well! Large selection. Organized very nicely. Food was good. Overall very good experience.
Our guest room smelled like wet dog-zero water pressure in the shower. Terribly uncomfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom has no fan-so if you're staying with anyone else they get to hear exactly what's happening in the bathroom. Lovely. Wait until they update guest rooms to stay here.
I had promised my family a trip to Silverwood . This hotel offered a lodging and tickets to Silverwood in a single package. We were able to enjoy are visit to Silverwood and know we would have a good place to sleep and have a good breakfast. The lounge was quiet and had many Big Screen Tv's. The restaurant had a good selection on their menu. With take out service.
I may not have been thrilled with the location (30 min drive to Silverwood and corner of busy street) BUT, very clean and the free breakfast was the best I've ever had! From cold cereal to fresh fruit to hot dishes such as biscuits and gravy, bacon, potatoes, eggs etc. You could even make your own waffles and made to order omlets! They also provided the daily local newspaper each morning (who does that anymore?) We had a room just outside the pool area that was great for the kids. A great place for a family to stay other than vicinity to stores and restaurants etc...(But then again, not much else in that area available)
Great location, close to restaurants and downtown. There was a very nice bar and restaurant on site although we didn't eat there it looked like a great spot even frequented by some locals. The rooms were clean and excellent WiFi and AC.
Three nights here to enjoy our first visit to CDA. Rooms were clean and well stocked. Location worked well for our plans - which included Silverwood Theme Park and a lake cruise. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive and we were pleasantly surprised to learn kids eat free in the restaurant as well. Maintenance was a bit lacking - we had burnt out lights in our bathroom and our sink didn't drain well.
Pleasant stay and nicely appointed guest rooms. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located near dining and only a short drive from Silverwood Theme Park. Breakfast was very nice and offered a good selection including omelets. The pool was nice, but a little cold. The only issue was the poor water pressure in the shower. All in all this was a great pick and would happily return in the future.
I have stayed in this particular property since 1986 and it has always been a great experience. They have very comfortable rooms, a relaxing Lounge, a wonderful restaurant with outstanding and tasty meals, plus they have one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. I have been in 100's of hotels around the US and many in Europe; this property rates among the top. The front desk is friendly and knowledgeable. Thank You!!!
I travel and have basic criteria for the places I stay. If they are not met, I will refuse to stay there again. This hotel didn't meet the 3 basics: 1) the bed must be comfortable 2) the room climate controls must function properly keeping the room at the temp I set with minimal fuss/noise and 3) there has to be water pressure in the shower. The "Worst" Western failed at all 3. In addition, the staffing at the front desk was minimal and easily distracted instead of taking care of the customer in front of them. The old building had little sound-proofing and was very noisy. If you MUST stay here, and have an issue with walking make sure you get a room close to the front of the hotel. Having a room on the second floor in the back of the hotel means you're going to be getting your steps in, whether you want to or not. Would not recommend.
The location is great. Walking distance close to everything you need. Staff was great. Kelly at the bar is full of information on the area and makes great drinks. Your only minutes from downtown, seconds to the interstate to get to any other location. 20 minutes from Spokane Airport
Check-in girl on July 28th at 4:00 PM was extremely rude and unpleasant. Had no sympathy for anyone or anything. Seriously ruined my mood. Tried to check-in early like 30 minutes beforehand, she shooed me away so quickly! She needs a reality check, princess!! The whole check-in process was a headache thanks to her snotty attitude. I had issues with my TV but didn't bother complaining considering I didn't want to deal with her. PLEASE teach this girl some customer service skills, honestly an insult to your property all together. Breakfast was the best part of the stay. Rooms were dated, while lobby was beautiful. Price was a bit much considering the rooms were old looking and the staff was CRAP.
We chose this property to avoid having to go downtown as we were on motorcycles and wanted good access to the interstate. We were unaware that there was a lounge/restaurant on site and the breakfast buffet provided the next morning was one of the best we have seen at any Best Western.
My husband and I always enjoy staying at this property and have never been disappointed. They often change up the breakfast options. This time they even had fresh peaches!! They also had an omelet station along with the usual options.
Stayed 4 nights and was dry pleased. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was large and comfortable. The pool was very well maintained. Facility was very clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable and no problems with noise.
Whenever I travel I usually stay at a Best Western due to overall excellent experiences. CDA BW is great ... I stepped into the lobby this last trip and turned to my friend I was traveling with for work and stayed "it's good to be home!" I stay at BW's for both work and pleasure trips.
My husband and I traveled to Caspar WY to visit family we stayed our stay was wonderful. The room was very clean and well appointed. Bed was very conformable Breakfast was very good each morning. Fresh fruit, eggs, some type of meat, waffles. yogurt, cereal, etc. We would defiantly stay there again.
I booked a one night stay price was $239. I recieved a email confirmation with a total price of $ 326.12 all add on fees that were not revealed until after confirmation I call ed and tried to cancel but was informed the cancelation fee whould be total amount. One of the reasons I booked was because Trip advisor identified it as no cacellation fees. I am now stuck with this reservation. I believe Trip advisor should confirm that what the advertise, no cancellation fees is accurate and Best Western shoul reveal all fees BEFORE reservation is submittedc.
My wife and I decided to stay here on the last leg of our cross country trip and this was a great place to stay. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We paid a fair price for our room. We felt pampered and relaxed here. That's a feeling that we don't get very often. The hotel is easily accessible from I-90 at Exit 12 with a lot of stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again
We were on our annual road trip and started to get tired. Stopped at the BW in Coeur D'Alene as we are members of their loyalty club and it was literally a block off the freeway. Went in and asked for a room on the 1st floor with 2 beds. They upgraded us to a king with a couch right next to the pool. We had a door that opened to a little path to the pool. The room was large and clean and very comfortable. Stayed 2 days and when we head that way we`ll be staying again! The restaurant was good and the free breakfast was yummy !!
This Best Western is super nice. Nice rooms, good laundry facility, fantastic high quality breakfast with everything you could want. Good central location, minutes from downtown. I highly recommend staying here.
I booked a reservation here, while at the nearby theme park, Silverwood. By the time my family and I arrived, we were very tired. First impressions, pulling into the lot, it is clean, well lit. The lobby is easily accessible, as well as, very clean. The front desk clerk was very friendly and quick to get us our key card. She held a conversation with my kindergartner, making him feel very welcome. She pointed out where we could access drinks & snacks, or sit down for a meal. She was very thorough in showing us a map, with ways to access our room, and amenities. Online, I had requested a handicap accessible room and they were able to honor that request and ensured we had easy access from the parking lot. Very handy that there were luggage carts that made unloading the car a breeze. Our room was very pleasant...Clean, smelled nice, at a comfortable temperature, and properly stocked with essentials. When we walked in, it was very obvious that there were several meetings/conventions going on. Even with so many people present, we barely heard anything. Overall, a good experience, and we will book a room on our next visit to Coeur D'Alene
What a fabulous place to stay! The staff was so friendly and helpful! They went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. We were so thankful. The pool area was beautiful and my kids loved the yummy breakfast!
Very happy with my stay here. The location is very convenient to everything (especially the interstate). Room was very nice and clean. Pool was great as was breakfast! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
The hotel rooms were dirty. The sheets, pillows & towels were stained and unclean. There was spilled milk rotting on one of the tables in the room. The room was humid and smelled like cat urine. We got woken up by prank calls late at night and early morning. The housekeepers were very rude and unprofessional. There were beetles found crawling in the bed. The shower was not clean, there was hair on the walls of the shower. Overall it was not a great experience at all.
This hotel was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the pool area which was enclosed but had large sliding doors that opened up with lounge chairs and nice seating areas. Music was piped in and made for a lovely evening outside. The lounge was a nice addition.
Spent one night at the Best Western Plus while driving from St. Louis to Seattle. The property is located convenient to I-90, though some distance from Lake Coeur D'Alene. I arrived earlier than I expected - and well before official check-in time - but the Front Desk was able to find me a room in short order. The room I was given worked perfectly for me - it was in the corner way in the back of the property but with nearby entrance/exit doors. That made it easy to stash my bikes in the room for the night rather than leaving them hanging off the back of my car. The restaurant in the hotel served a good steak, although the martini I ordered was a little weak. Attentive service! I'm a tough reviewer, and to earn five stars I need to have my expectations exceeded. That didn't happen, but the property easily earns four stars and I would happily stay again.
We went on a family trip over memorial weekend and the staff were great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds a snow bathrooms were nice and clean. Everyone was impressed and loved this hotel. We also enjoyed the pool and poolside breakfast.
This chain and specifically BW at Coeur d'Alene was recommended by BCAA (part of CAAA). My road trip was much more pleasant than expected when I cjecked in with the staff and the ameneties available at the hotel. I only wished I had more time to take advantage of the other ameneties. Next time I will.
I found this to be one of the nicer Best Westerns I have stayed in. Very clean and excellent service. Friendly bar waitstaff and the breakfast was exceptionally well done. The swimming pool and gym are clean and the Jacuzzi was excellent as well. I would return here.
We stayed for three days and found the service to be extremely consistent and friendly. Everyone was very nice and that helped enjoy the stay much more. Our room was super and very comfortable - we wished we had stayed there for our entire trip; it was the best stop by far.
It appears that the maid didn't vacuumed the floor ( candy and dirt on the carpet. The sheet were never changed for the next guest of the bed was poorly made. Everything else in the hotel was good, esp the breakfast.
We had a very good experience here at the Best Western Plus Coer d'Alene Inn! What a gorgeous city!!! The hotel was very comfortable and close to the quaint downtown area where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to visit. Our room was clean, very comfortable bed with a selection of pillows, and very quiet. Would definitely stay here again!
Friendly staff welcomes you on arrival. The breakfast - Restaurant is large and offers a wide variety to please everyone. They were also good at helping us find the places we planned to visit. We definitely would stay there again!
It was a very pleasant experience and we felt pampered. We couldn't have had better service. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our first visit at this site and we are returning later this .On th.
Facility is very nice, all the employees were courteous and friendly. Mulligans has great food and the breakfast buffet is quite good. The only negative is that our beds were extremely firm making a good nights rest hard. If the beds had pillowtop mattress covers the comfort level would be higher
We had prebooked this hotel and liked what we saw in the writeup, but were a bit apprehensive. After all, writeup's promise the stars and everything This was everything they promised and more. We were warmly welcomed and everything was waiting for us. They have an incredible restaurant and pub on premise, with excellent food and great service. Highly recommend
This is a bit hard to find because it feels like it is tucked in behind buildings, but once you get here, it is nice and inviting. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were nice. The internet connection was very good. The pool and hot tub were nice, but they were always filled with kids, even later at night. Unfortunately, we were late for the breakfast in the morning. It would be nice if it were a half hour later.
Very kind staff. Inviting lobby. A great hot breakfast for free in the morning. Dog-friendly. Clean beds. Our double queen bed room had a mini fridge and microwave and small Keurig. Indoor warm pool and a hot tub.
This location is ideal for access to all things northern Idaho has to offer. The hotel is very clean. The on site Mulligans has great food, and a full bar. All of the staff are very nice and professional.
Great staff, accommodations, and food. The continental breakfast and espresso bar was great, atmosphere in lobby and lounge with a fireplace made it very comfortable. Very clean and comfortable rooms !
Overall, this was a good stay. The hotel and room is very clean and nice. The staff at the front desk was very nice and efficient. My only negative was the pillows were not very comfortable, but this is minor and I would definitely stay here again.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They provided excellent information as well as a map of the facility. The breakfast has a wide range of foods/ good selection. The lounge was nice place to visit with live music and excellent bartender.
This Best Western Plus in Cd'A was a sight for sore eyes after waiting for five hours to get by two avalanches on I-90. The front desk gal needed to be able to offer options for meals after 10:00 p.m. in town. We ended up at a Taco Bell down the street, as roads were very icy and Capone's Pub was closed early. Room was tidy, nice bathroom, fridge had freezer (a plus to us), bed comfortable, and complimentary breakfast was fine. The indoor pool looked lovely, but we arrived late and just wanted to crash. We'd stay here again!
My husband and I always enjoy staying at this property. They have a nice bar and restaurant on site. Staff is helpful. They always have an above average breakfast buffet. Fresh fruit, french toast, lots of choices. Indoor pool and hot tub which opens early. Have never had any issues.
Best Western is my favorite place to stay when on the road. I have never been disappointed at one of their properties, but the Best Western Plus in Coeur D'Alene is over the top. It is a beautiful, well maintained property. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and the staff is welcoming and accommodating in every regard. What sets this Best Western apart is its on-site restaurant, where we enjoyed the most complete Best Western breakfast-ever. More so, there is no need to search the area for a dinner dining site. We thoroughly enjoyed two dinner meals at the restaurant. The menu was more than adequate, and the food was excellent. As was the service. This Best Western is the best of the best.
Spacious rooms. Polite and Attentive staff. Lots of amenities. Complimentary breakfast buffet. Never felt for wanting at any time. All our needs were taken care of. Also conveniently located near downtown and the lakefront. Highly recommended!
My fiance and I stayed there as we were checing it out as a wedding venue. Check in was quick and informative. Our room had a sliding back door that was just across from the indoor pool and hot tub. The water was perfect and relaxing. They have a beautiful restaurant and bar and the included breakfast was delicious. If you are planning on a wedding there they are a well oiled machine and can match a number of color schemes.
We booked a room here two months previous to the date we were quoted a price and requested a first floor room. When we arrived we are on the second floor unable to change and $20 more for the night. They did only charge the quoted price but unable to move us to a first-floor room. We had seen a flyer on their New Year's eve party and understood there would be a band drink specials and hors d'oeuvres for the party the cost of that was $15. We purchased dinner which was delicious and proceeded to the party area. It was 8 pm the band had not started yet and only played until 1130. They were very good and played A variety of music. At the bar close down at 11:30 as well. I understood that would be a champagne toast at midnight but we were told we could buy a $20 bottle of champagne and toast whatever. I felt for the 15$ charge they could of had some kind of Munchies and at least a champagne toast. Biggest disappointment that I found was my understanding of what the party was to be and what it actually was. We got some noisemakers and hats and have a great band. We could've done the same By staying in the bar. The breakfast buffet was out of this world and it was included in the room price.
This hotel has everything you would need and more! Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant is to die for, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing and had so many options to choose from. If you are looking for a room in the Coeur D' Alene area I highly recommend you choose this hotel!
Highly recommend this hotel for even just to get away business whatever it may be you going to meet friends for maybe an evening nightcap or to watch the Gonzaga or any type of sports in their lovely Lounge. Had a little hiccup but I'd a month-and-a-half ago with one of their wait staff in the lounge but hopefully that has been taken care of other than that it is a wonderful Hotel the breakfast Superior the best I must say. The pool great pool great hot tub. The rooms always clean, staff friendly always willing to help. This Best Western is located very nice right off the freeway close to downtown close to shopping even if it wasn't I would still stay there just because of the experience that we have had in the last two years.
We had a very pleasant stay. We checked in on Christmas Eve. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotless and comfortable. And very quiet. The hot tub was perfect and clean as was the pool. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. A lot of food. We also had the Christmas buffet which was beautifully presented and excellent. All of the staff were so nice. Definetly would stay again.
If you're planning to get a good nights sleep while staying here forget it. The beds are hard and very uncomfortable. The walls are very thin and you can here everything that is going on in the a joining rooms. The heater was crazy. Going on and off all through the night making it very hot in the room. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly but no-one went above and beyond.
The Rooms were Very Clean and the Staff were Attentive to our needs. The Breakfast was the best that we have had at other Hotels. The Lounge was relaxing and the Bar Tender had quit the Sense of Humor, considering she had a few Gerks to deal with. Don't listen to Google Maps, there is an easier way to find the Hotel, it is right off I90.
I had read great reviews of this hotel so I decided to book it for a rushed business visit. I was disappointed. The room was small even though we had an upgraded room. The bed was not the typical pillow top mattress for a 3 star hotel. The pillows were uncomfortable. Side note is I am picky about my pillows. I like the hotels that have a selection of fluffiness and thickness of pillows like Holiday Inn Express. I have some neck issues and too thick of pillows mean my neck will hurt and I can not sleep. I had a tough time sleeping due to the pillows and bed. The room was very dark. Even with all of the lights on it was dark. The room was clean and decorated fine. They have a bar and restaurant on site which are okay. I just felt the hotel was decent not great and not worth the reviews I read convincing me to stay there.
My husband and I were amazed at the staff at this hotel! They went above and way beyond to make our stay special and comfortable. The room was beautiful and the food is great! Try the sirloin steak if you go here!
Stayed here three nights as we checked out local houses for sale. Very centrally located and easy to get onto hwy 95 or I-90. The hotel staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and well appointed. Took forever to get hot water out of the bathtub on most occasions.
This hotel in Coeur d'Alene is also close to Spokane, Washington, where my wife and I visited friends. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. The staff made sure that all our needs were met. After we left the hotel, we discovered that we had left a multi-port charging device behind. I called and was able to leave a message for housekeeping. The next day I got a call confirming that our device had been located. We made arrangements and it was sent back to us promptly. Great extra mile service!!
Impressive lobby, and great staff. These people are doing a good job taking care of this hotel. The hallways are clean and bright, and the artwork on the walls is clean. Our room carpet was clean and felt good underfoot. The bathroom was shiny and clean, and everything was in very good order. The door to the room was a surprise. Instead of having one of those ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger' door closers attached that would cut your leg off while you try to get your bags through the door, there was nothing. Yes, that's right, the door hung open all by itself! I love it! This meant that entering the room was easy and simple, just the thing after being on the road for 15 hours. The TV remote was contained inside a small bag that designated it as being clean. One thing that seemed to be lacking: Bathroom ventilation and sink drainage. The fan in the bathroom does move a slight amount of air, but I suspect the ductwork needs to be cleaned out. Also, the sink was horribly slow to drain. I didn't even need to use the stopper to shave... Breakfast employs real metal silverware! However, they need to keep the plates warm instead of pulling them out of what feels like a refrigerator because it makes the food get cold super fast. The food was good, and they have deserts that were enjoyable.
From our arrival to our expresss check out, we were thorughly impressed with Coure d;Alene Inn Hotel. Restaurant was fantastic, as we utilized the breakfast and evening menus.Maginficent restaurant staff, wonderful food.
the hotel was easy to find, right on the major intersection of I-90 in Coeur d'alene. The rooms were clean and quiet. the breakfast was a huge value for our family of 5. The staff went above her duty and personally delivered us a wine opener to our room. the pool room was great for our kids. I would stay here again.
My wife wanted to spend a few day's shopping in Couer d lene, our stay at the best western plus was enjoyable and relaxing. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and rooms clean and comfortable. The staff seemed to go out of their way to make sure you were satisfied with everything. The hotel was situated in a good area that was close to everything we were interested in and was easy for us to find. The hotel was close to two hiway's but was still quite at night.
I was looking for an adequate place for 1 night. It served the purpose. Close to I-90, free breakfast, free parking, & free WiFi. The room seemed clean. The WiFi worked. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay there again.
We stayed here after jumping ship from another place that was a mess. This place was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by friendly staff and placed in a nice room. The room itself was well furnished, clean and comfortable in every way. The dinner we had in the restaurant was good as was the free breakfast in the morning.
The hotel has great curb appeal and the rooms are clean, well maintained and comfortable. The bed and linens, towels and amenities were very good as was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We felt very safe here and would definitely stay here again in the future.
We have stayed a couple of times at this facility this year and the second stay was as good as the first. Quiet, clean and up to standard for a Best Western hotel. Rooms are super clean, service is great and the breakfast is hearty and comprehensive. Keep up the high standard and hard work folks!
We selected this hotel after our original hotel selection was booked for one night. We were extremely pleased with the hotel. Although the room was a little small, everything else about the room was outstanding - good beds, very clean, good amenities. Breakfast was very good. We also had dinner one evening and found the selection and quality of the food to be more than acceptable. We would certainly make the hotel a high possibility for our next visit.
Our sons were attending Boy Scout camp at Camp Easton. My husband and I decided to surprise them and make a mini-vacation of the trip. We picked the Best Western Plus based on it's location and a friend's recommendation. It did not disappoint. We had a basic room, but on the bottom floor, facing the pool area. Breakfast was FANTASTIC! I have never seen a continental breakfast like this one. So many choices, and lots of room to sit and eat. Guests were also welcome to order from the menu. Super Happy Hour menu in the bar. Overall, super place for family travel.
This was a great place to stay while passing through town. The breakfast was excellent. The room was quite comfortable and very clean. The front desk staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The room was quiet.
The staff at this hotel are very accommodating, and we all had a great party and experience. They were able to take our large group from the hotel to the lake for a dinner cruise, and back. Great drivers, great reception hosts, nice breakfast. I recommend this hotel for a great experience.
This location is perfect, right by the interstate, short drive down to the lake, always clean, always friendly, breakfast is always good. The pool is wonderful, I have family in town and they all come down to swim with us, the bar staff is friendly, good drinks. This last time I traveled there I took my dog for the first time. They gave her a treat bag with a toy, and have a nice little area for them to use outside. They put you in a "pet friendly" room, that is basically the same as the others, but on the first floor right by the door. Perfect for pet use. I love this place, it is our home away from home and it is just an extra perk knowing I can take my dog with me and not worry!
This was a very convenient place to stay for a couple of days as we explored Coeur D'Alene. It didn't start out well, as they gave another guest access keys to our room after we had already had all our things in there. It was the honest guest that informed us of the problem and the staff member who made the error did apologize. The rest of our stay was great. Our room was large and comfortable. Air conditioning was super quiet in our room. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was awesome, complete with made-to-order omelettes, lots of fresh fruit, bagels, waffles, pancakes, everything you can think of. There is a restaurant on site, which is not bad. I used the computers in the lobby to access the internet. The person who cleaned our room did a nice job. There are plenty of restaurants and other services close by, and the property is near the interstate. There was plenty of parking and the grounds were nicely landscaped. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to the heart of the city from this hotel, so it is in a good location.
Great property, super location off main highways and freeways. Nice and very helpful staff. Small but functional workout room. Clean, appears to be a meeting place for work and social functions. We'll definitely stay here again.
This Inn has close access to the freeway and located within short distances to a choice of restaurants including a fine restaurant within the Inn, and is easy access to the Coeur D'Alene Gollf Course with its famous floating green. The Inn guests are offered a complimentary buffet breakfast in its restaurant. We found the buffet breakfast to have delicious variety during our two night stay.
We stayed here at the BW, our room was nice. It was 201 which is in the corner and there were no other rooms on either side of ours this was nice to not have people next to our room. Everything looked clean and cozy. The breakfast was AMAZING. It was on par for a BW breakfast. Everything you could ask for was available. The server from the night before was also amazing, warm, welcoming and happy to talk to us. She spoke to use about my Father in Law who just pasted away. He came to the restaurant a lot, and when he brought my husband she was their server then also. Thank you (I can't remember her name but she knows who she is) you made a hard time just a little easier. There were a few things I found odd. While walking through the hall one of the housekeeping staff made a point to not even look at me let alone say hello, made a point to not make any eye contact. This doesn't make the guest feel welcomed. The FD manager was just as welcoming. When we checked in she sounded like a tape recorder, just going through her process. She was not welcoming I felt like she had better things to be doing. They dropped a newspaper under your door this was not asked for nor was it needed. Why would you give me a newspaper when I didn't ask for one this is such a waste. There seemed to be a lot of this, every room got one that I could see. Keep your newspaper. Great hotel, noting horrible about the stay, just odd.
I just love this best western, it was so confortable and relaxing. the staff are very friendly. Great service !!! It was very easy to check in and check out no problems with anything better then In expected.
Having never been to Cour d'Arlene, we were prepared for basic accommodations similar to what we experienced in Boise several years ago. The accommodations at the Bedt Western were several levels above even the soap in the bathroom was good quality and the breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit and fresh waffles and omletes made for each order. We will definitely stay at Best Western again.
Stayed here 3 nights. Staff could not have been more more kind and helpful - from making our reservations, to giving us directions when we were lost finding our way late at night to check-in! The room was very nice, clean, beds were so very comfortable, and all of the amenities were very much appreciated. The breakfast provided was exceptional! A restaurant was available for other meals as well. We were able to purchase our admission tickets for the Silverwood Amusement Park right at the front desk and given a map to locate it. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend it to others.
My wife and I stayed here while on a group tour with Globus Tours. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and attention to detail. As B&B owners we tend to notice these things. Jason, the manager, is a keeper! But with his leadership, BWP won't keep him long. This young man will move on up the ladder to a larger hotel.
I was super disappointed when arriving here this year in comparison to last years visit. The fellow checking us in was grumpy but that didn't deter our moods from spending the day at Silverwood, I think there must be some rooms redone and others not because ours was older clean but defiantly dated. Had a late dinner in the restaurant there food was amazing great service even though it was closing soon. One reason we liked this last time was the breakfast buffet huge spread but got two hairs in our food and didn't eat anything further, probably will look elsewhere for our annual trip, spending $340 Canadian is to steep for what we got.
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Coeur D'Alene a few weeks ago and I finally have time to write a review. On the plus side the hotel is huge and easily accessible from I-90. There is a restaurant and lounge. I didn't visit the restaurant but I did visit the lounge. The lounge is ok. Nothing fancy but it does offer a full bar. Now for the negatives. My girlfriend was at a meeting and had already checked in so a key was waiting at the front desk when I arrived. I quickly got the key and drove around to the back of the hotel where our room was located. With two bags and a backpack I made my way to the room only to discover the key didn't work. Our room was about as far from the front desk as you can get. I made the long trek back to the front desk. The hallways smelled faintly of dirty diapers. I got new keys and journeyed back. My initial takeaway is that the hotel seems tired. The decor in the room seemed outdated. Our room had two beds and they were both small and very hard. The pillows were very hard too. The bathroom was tiny and looked old as well. Being close to the interstate our room was a bit noisy, especially at 6am when the garbage truck emptied the dumpster outside our window. We usually run the fan on high at most hotels to block any outside noise, but the high setting put out very little air. In my opinion the hotel is in need of a remodel. If there were no other rooms available in the area I would probably drive on down the road rather than stay here again. It was just not a comfortable place to stay.
Pros: Check in was easy. The staff were very professional and helpful. We were given a room on the first floor away from the highway facing the conference center courtyard. The room was comfortable and quiet. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient and reasonably priced. The hotel breakfast was great with cook to order eggs and many extra choices. It was a comfortable night and check out was easy.
This hotel was very cozy, we loved our room and the front desk was very nice and took care of us. We also went to the restaurant there and got the teriyaki bowl which was delicious. Owen our server was very kind and helpful! Next time we are in town we are definitely staying here again!
The Coeur d'Alene Best Western is an extremely upscale property. The breakfast is outstanding with an array of breakfast items and also made to order eggs and omelets. Nice rooms, nice property and great breakfast.
A friend recommended this hotel. He said it was not the cheapest but well worth it. I agree 100%. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal (fresh cut fruit, omelettes, many hot and cold selections, waffles and pancakes). The restaurant had a good selection of reasonably healthy meals. Rooms were fine for us and the relationship to the Coeur d'Alene Resort was a nice bonus. Pool area was big enough to accommodate a number of groups.
This property was a wonderful place to stay. Great security, easy parking, very pleasant staff. Close to freeway, shopping. Easy access. Restaurant and bar on site. Check in was fast and easy. We will stay here again.
Awesome place to stay with the family. The swim pool is very good and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hot feel breakfast is really good. Short drive to Silverwood The rooms were very clean
The outside is dated but the inside is not. Rooms are comfortable and there is free parking, free wifi (slow at times) Indoor pool and hot tub with lovely patio area with shaded seating or you can sit inside as well. Complimentary local paper. Free breakfast buffet at the inhotel restaurant. The location also has conference rooms and a lounge. You will feel secure as all exits are keyed to your room key. There is also a fitness center and a laundry facility (coin operated). Our room included a refrigerator microwave combo and a keurig. Location is at the intersection of I90 and I95 for convenience. Nearby services include Mobil gas, Walgreens, Winco Foods, Cracker Barrell, and much more.
We will definitely return here when we travel this way! Staff was very friendly and courteous. Parking lot very clean and safe. Easy to access right off interstate. Very quiet. Excellent food. Mattress very comfortable!
Stayed 3 nights while in town for Silverwood. Hotel was very clean and the staff was great! The breakfast in the morning was good except for the last morning we were there they were picking up breakfast early, which seemed unfair, if you say the breakfast is served until 9:30, it should be there and fully functional until 9:30. The coffee was gone and put away, all the milk for cereals, etc gone by 9:15. Slightly disappointing.
Two nights at this Best Western location in Coeur D'Alene as we explored the area. Exceptional staff, clean room, free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, close to all amenities. We have no complaints whatsoever. We ate in the restaurant as well, the Liver and Chicken were very good!!!
This is a great hotel located in the heart of everything including only minutes to Silverwood Theme park. Great staff, great free breakfast including omelette station. Also has good restaurant and bar if your looking to relax. Indoor Pool, hot tub and gym. Great place for business or pleasure.
Stayed in 2 queen room. Room was decent and clean. Upon arrival the place is nice. However a few frustrating items. The beds are coil beds so if one person moves the other feels it. Also the TV. I could not make it change channels without going back into the menu and changing it. You can only see the channel type not what is on that channel now. Then when watching something it kept cutting out and getting pixelated. Other than that the hotel was comfortable!
Stayed only one night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would go there again. Very wonderful breakfast buffet. Shuttle to the lake was offered but we did not take it. The pool area was nice too. Restaurant was good and bar staff very friendly,
Stayed here for 3 nights for our family road trip to Silverwood Theme Park. Park was approx. 20 minutes away. We booked through a discount travel website. Upon arrival we discovered that we had been booked into a handicap room and it had a handicap shower. It wasn't a deal breaker but I was traveling with young children that are more bath kids than shower kids. I asked at the front desk and she told me that quite often when you book through discount websites they will default to the handicap rooms and in the future I should call ahead and confirm the room I have been assigned. She then went to work to try and move us into a different room, which took a bit of effort but she got it done and we were moved into a standard room with a normal bath/shower. Hotel was clean. Rooms had everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of hot and cold options and lots of staff on hand to restock for the entire breakfast service. The pool was very appreciated by my kids. It is located perfectly around a major highway intersection. There is a drug store across the street to pick up snacks and forgotten toothbrushes and lots of dining options nearby. I would definitely stay there again.
Stayed two night in early June. Newly redone, room was very clean, staff one of the most helpful during our two week road trip. Has a nice free breakfast in dining room, a nice lounge with live music, which was very good, interior hallways with key card entry from outside. This hotel also has a very nice indoor pool and the gym is attached. Our checkin and out were very smooth and access to I-90 was very easy. One drawback, could use another elevator closed to front of hotel. Places to eat are close, a conveince store at front of hotel.
Great location, clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. Was the perfect stop for our road weary family. Only negative I could give would be the bathroom in the Queen Suite was not large enough for two people to get ready.
We stayed for one night to watch the July 4th fireworks at Coeur d'Alene Lake. My family and I were overly impressed with this hotel. The place is very accessible and convenient. It's near the Mobil gasoline station and across the street is a Walgreen store. Wifi is fast and free. Parking is free. Fridge and microwave are available in the room. They offered shuttle services to and from the lake for the July 4th celebration. They have a covered swimming pool. One of the highlights of this hotel is their breakfast. It was superb. It is a buffet with lots of choices to choose from. They cooked omelets with your choice of ingredients and also cooked fresh donuts right out of the machine. I talked to the lady making the donuts and asked if this was the norm for this hotel and she said they do this every summer. Every food they served was delicious. The hallway leading to our room and to the lobby smells good, not musty or old. Their lobby looks grand and their Customer Service was excellent (from check-in staff to the breakfast staff). The layout of the bathroom is quite different as they utilize some of the space for the cabinet. So the bathroom is quite small but the vanities are of good quality. The room itself is not as big as some of the hotels in the area such as La Quinta. We will stay at this hotel again when we go back to CDA.
The pool and hot tub helped ease the aches in my back after a long day of driving. The rooms are quiet, comfortable beds provided a restful sleep. The breakfast buffet has everything to get you going for a long day of driving. The servers in the restaurant were so awesome. On our first stay, my son requested an apple for his breakfast but they didn't have any. On our return trip, he was so excited that they had a bowl full of apples. It made him feel very special, like they were there just for him.
All aspects of this stay were exceptional, all my needs were met and exceeded. Desk service was great as we were drop-ins, rate was fair and of value as were room and building condition, décor, comfort and food. I will try to include this one in future journeys.
The reason most people stay in Motels and hotels is to sleep. If so, you would think a motel would provide good pillows and a mattress that is so old it jiggles when my partner moved just a little. They are welcoming for our dog providing a doggie gift bad and bowls.
Friendly people and clean one level hotel. Electronic card keyed rooms. Limited tv and no Netflix connectivity. Excellent service in the restaurant and complimentary full hot breakfast buffet 40 minute shuttle to Spokane airport service from the resort.
Excellent breakfast buffet, beautiful pool, nice clean room, the staff couldn't be more helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant, the food was delicious and nicely presented and pricing was good. 5 stars!
The hotel is very nice looking and well decorated. However, the beds are horrible! Rock hard and the pillows are literally the size of 12x12 throw pillows...even the pillow cases are folded in half because the pillows are so small. A queen bed gets 4 pillows....thank goodness because they are also down pillows....so they are as flat as a pancake. I also noticed that while overall the room was very clean, the maid clearly doesn't like cleaning the toilet bowl....it had a yellow/brown film inside. I know it's not from the water as this property is on the city water supply (I use to lived in the area)...no this was just plain not cleaning and sanitizing the bowl. Since we only stayed one night it wasn't so bad...if we had to stay and extra night I would have asked for many more pillows and a thorough cleaning of the bathroom. On the positive side the staff at check in was friendly, looks like they have a decent breakfast buffet and the site is located right at the 90/95 intersection...easily for passing through on your travels.
This is a very professional hotel with updated cozy rooms (that is to say smaller but okay anyway) and a huge pool and whirlpool. The free breakfast is great. They are located close to the Interstate and have ample parking.
My wife and I were on our cross country trip from Portland, ME to Seattle, WA and we decided to stay here on our travels. We were going to continue to Seattle, but we were more exhausted than we thought. This was definitely a great option. I frequent Best Western and I'm a Diamond Select member. The staff members were great here and gave us a low rate. The hotel was spotless. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from I-90 at Exit 12. And the hotel is in a close proximity to a lot of restaurants and stores in the area. We will definitely return again and again
We stayed at this hotel in late June - early July. It had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. The pool was a lovely bonus and we enjoyed it thoroughly with our family. Restaurant staff were very accommodating to my requirement to eat gluten-free. Hopefully, they will carry on with their attention to guests with dietary restrictions as my gluten-free needs are not optional and I am very symptomatic. We would definitely stay there again.
Love this location. Everything is in one place I travel all over the Northwest and love that I can eat, go to bar and stay without driving to eat a meal. The food is great, the service in the bar was great. Morning breakfast was great
Always a pleasure to stay at the Cd'A property. Clean rooms, professional and helpful staff and terrific breakfast. The Fitness Center is tiny but has enough free weights and machines to get a sweat going. Cannot wait to go back.
Always have great service here. The staff are professiona and if you need anything they don't hesitate to help. Very impressed. This was our second time staying at this location and we will be back again soon.
The staff at BWCDA were absolutely superb and welcoming from the moment I arrived after an arduous 9 hour flight from UK to Seattle(worst customs in the world 3 hrs) and then onwards to Spokane. To be welcomed with a rea lblazing log fire was enough to warm the cockles of this Scotsman on a bitter cold night. During our 6 week stay they could not do enough for us always had a smile and a laugh.Food was always good although only once did I venture beyond the appetisers due to the size of the portions. To JJ and everyone thank you could not have asked for more. PS The Resort CDA has a lot to live up to...watch this space
What a great place to stay for families, being with a bigger group of gymnasts, we felt so welcomed, fed and taken care of. Especially as I left a pair of sunglasses (that I probably spent far too much money on) and when I called the hotel, talked to the lovely housekeeping staff who found them, held them, and are now sending them to me. What a lovely reminder of goodness in humans. Thanks and we'll be back next year!
A great place to stay with a convenient location near freeway access. The in house pub is a happy place for that night cap. Breakfast is in the restaurant area that is then closed to the public although not sure how this was monitored as seemed a lot of coming and going. We will be back.
We totally enjoyed every aspect of our stay. The restaurant was an especially nice plus. We split a meal and had more then enough. Our room was clean and quiet. All staff members were very professional.
Mattresses are mediocre, pool and hot tub are far from rooms, staff is great, but certainly NOT plus quality. No better than the Super 8 or Motel 6. Access to the motel is extremely. Breakfast is so so.
This place is so quiet , the rooms are very clean. The rooms are very nice size , and we loved the jacuzzi tub . The customer service did a amazing job . We are already talking about coming back next year.
Great staff, very friendly and our room is small, but very nice. My only complaint right now is the bed is not very comfortable. Spring mattresses are like that. They should update them. This is our first night and if things change I will update my review.
Second stay at this Best Western. The hotel is clean and comfortable and staff has always been friendly. Free breakfast is far better than average. I was here for a week and had forgotten my iPhone charger. The young lady at the front desk rounded one up for me. Yes!! Snowed most of the time I was in town. BW staff was constantly plowing and keeping the parking areas navigable. Thanks to all for making my stay pleasant.
I have attended a business conference at this hotel with several of my students the last couple of years. I have been very impressed with the customer service I have received. Reservations were easy and the hotel has been flexible with us. For example, one year we had to cancel at the last minute due to to inclement weather and the hotel was very gracious about. They have always been good to work with me and our students.
This is a very good hotel. Easy access from freeway, great food from restaurant, great service from bar, and an outstanding complimentary breakfast, with a helpful and cheerful and professional staff.
We have been staying at this hotel for one or two weeks at a time, once or twice a year. We are pleased with the accommodation, the staff and the food. An outstanding buffet breakfast is included. They have long-time staff members who treat us like family and we are always happy to catch up on their lives. The hotel location is excellent and there is always a lot to do in Coeur D'Alene. We have been on all of the lake cruises and river cruises in the area.
Unexpected business trip to Coeur d'Alene on New Years Eve brought us to this hotel. Great amenities for the value. Will stay here again. Breakfast was quite good and fresh. Bed was a little too soft for our personal preference, but again, the value was terrific!
I consider this hotel, et al, including staff to be a wonderful experience one should never pass up! receiving the hospitality experience and accommodation would be a challenge to be duplicated at any other location.
I traveled to Idaho and then to Spokane to attend two conferences. Weather kept me from traveling back home so I specifically chose to call this Best Western to ask if they had another room. They remembered my bed preference and everything was ready when I returned. It was clean, comfortable and friendly!
Great place to stay.Very fast friendly service .There rooms are clean clean..clean.. Awesome breakfast with great selection ( couldn't ask for more ) This breakfast was free so we expected maybe muffins, toast, cereal, coffee ect.. But we had a full buffet with everything you can imagine . Great staff. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Close to all amenities We saw the big bill board coming into the City . It was very helpful as we had no idea where to go and the directions on the bill board lead us straight to our hotel.
The facility has been refurbished with style and attention to the decor. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was pleasant and responsive to requests like more k-cups for the Keurig coffee maker or a trash bag. WE are very satisfied with the service and facility. The breakfast was tasty with a nice variety of hot food.
This is a first rate hotel with all the amenities one would expect. What really put it on top is the terrific staff. They really go out of their way to show hospitality. From the moment you arrive every employee you meet is welcoming and helpful. We loved staying here and it is hard to believe that it was so reasonable.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, great food and fare. Fitness room and pool+hot tub are clean and offer a pleasant atmosphere for guests. Room features high quality items from beds and bedding to bathroom and furniture items. Best value we have found in Couer d' Alene Idaho.
Day staff went out of their way to get us checked in early check in was super fast, room was great, pool are was nice, everything clean, family that visited was impressed with everything at hotel. We will always try to book at best western
The hotel was great. My girls and I liked to stay there. Lots of parking, fast check in and not crowded. The room was clean, and large. We used the pool and no one else was there besides us. No long line at breakfast.
Great staff, service, location and amenities. We enjoyed our stay so much we spent an additional day. Thanks again to all the hotel staff and welcoming our small pet as well. We would highly recommend this Best Western and will plan to return !
Last minute reservation was easy and worked great, and I even got an upgraded room for same price. Check-in was fast and simple by a very pleasant employee. The rolling luggage handlers was very useful getting by baggage to second floor. The late dinner accommodations were great, and the breakfast was handy. Checkout was fast and simple.
Lots of nice extras that add to your stay. Everything is convenient and a good breakfast - lots of choices. Parking is adequate even if you leave and come back later. It was a nice atmosphere to celebrate our short Holiday trip.
excellent place to stay. easy access clean friendly nice pool an hot tub. motel is well kept an is maintained as well as all other Bestwestern standards. I enjoy staying at Bestwesterns for this reason
While the staff is excellent and professional, the room itself desperately needs updating. We were in a double queen room which felt crowded and chaotic. The bathroom was atrocious. Very little counter space and you had to be Sherlock Holmes to find the electrical outlet. The hair dryer was not on the wall but down below the sink. Not a well-planned floor plan. The person who designs a hotel room should be forced to stay there for a week.
Much improved rooms. Great front desk staff. Good breakfast. We have stayed here many many times over the years as we travel to the coast so have seen the structural improvements. Appears there are more to come. Lounge staff is as poor as we have experienced and this is not the first time for this location. Too bad.
We stay here as a base to see northern Idaho. We put a lot of miles on the car, saw a lot of little towns we may consider for retirement. It was nice to come back to a comfortable big room. We take our dog and they were very accommodating.
We've passed this Best Western many times while traveling along the I-90. We thought the hotel looked stark and a bit dated from the freeway so we always chose other places to stay. But because we needed a dog friendly hotel and I wanted to use my BW points, we decided to book a room here. What a wonderful surprise. The reception area and lobby are beautiful. We weren't expecting that at all. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The guest rooms were great and the breakfast was top notch. We would definitely stay here again.
A great place to stay at a convenient location. Central to numerous restaurants and a nice restaurant in the hotel. Nice large TVs in the lounge for watching the game. Good breakfast. It was presented in the restaurant as a buffet and didn't feel like a hotel freebie. The staff were knowledgeable and went above and beyond. We arrived a day before our reservation and there were no rooms similar to what we had reserved. They got us in a room the first night and then got us into the first available room the next morning which was an upgrade from what we reserved at the lower rate and added bonus loyalty points. We definitely will stay here when in the area again.
Wonderful climate to stay in, eat at and have a truly relaxing time. I was there with my daughter, grand daughter and great grand son. We all enjoyed our stay and will return there again for a family get together. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had no negative situations at all.
I always enjoy stopping at this Best Western Plus, they are absolutely nice and accommodating no matter what you what. I especially like that they have a restaurant that way I can just stay at the hotel and not look around for a place to eat. Plus the menu has so many choices.
We travel with our pets, dog and cat, to Montana several times a year. This BW accommodates both unlike the two BW in Spokane. Excellent stay. Friendly, good food, excellent breakfast buffet and nice dining room especially after a long day on the road.
Really enjoyed the fall in Coeur d'Alene. It's a beautiful place to visit for fall. Food was very good. Staff were very helpful and several amenities close by made the trip very easy. I attended a conference at the Couer d'Alene resort. The shuttle to the resort was flawless.
If you read the address, you might think this hotel is tucked away on a quiet street. It isn't, but that's okay. It's easy to find, right at the intersection of Idaho Highway 95 and I-90. Even though it's right on the freeway, the rooms are on the back side, so we had no trouble with noise. Everything is modern and comfortable and there is a full-service restaurant within the hotel. Great for groups or families of any size!
Our choice when visiting the panhandle of Idaho. Great staff and amenities. Staff has been professional and extremely helpful during our last two trips to the CDA area. Go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will use this hotel on many trips to come. Everyone in our party was very pleased with the staff and location. We would all recommend highly.
Excellent stay! Super nice lobby, restaurant, and lounge area. The room had a Keurig coffee maker, clothes-line in shower, very nice bathroom, no slam toilet seat (safe for our 4 yr old), luggage carts at every entry, free Wi-Fi, nice convenient pool area, very nice complimentary buffet breakfast each morning. The staff went above and beyond. Everyone we dealt with were helpful, friendly and extremely professional. I don't get impressed much, but this establishment is doing it right.
WE enjoyed our stay at BW. Good easy access for I-90 and 95! Our room was comfortable! Plenty of good places to eat close by. The bed was great! Everything was clean. We got adjoining rooms as requested! Keep up the good work!
My stay at the Best Western Plus in Coeur d'Alene Idaho was very disappointing at Best. When arriving in my room I found a very long brown hair in the bottom of my tub. I also found hair in my bed linens. I received an apology and was transferred to another room but received no help transferring my personal items, nor did I receive any compensation. I was not able to get comfortable in my room for that 3 day stay.
A real pleasure to stay at the CdA Best Western Plus. The staff bends over backwards to make certain every detail of your trip is top notch. Very pleased with the comfort level of the resort and the breakfast is such a delightful surprise. I plan to stay here every time I am in the CdA area.
Excellent spot to stay and all services are quite close and easy to get to re:shopping and entertainment. The included morning breakfast was excellent and well presented as well as the staff were very accommodating. Pool facilities and gym were clean and well equipped.
This Best Western does not look like much from the outside but it is quite nice once you are inside. It boasts a pretty cool bar and when we arrived, quite a few people were there watching Sunday night football, and obviously having a pretty good time. The lobby is attractive and clean. Our room was spacious with a small, but nice, bathroom. Microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi. The beds are really comfortable. Breakfast is included: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, milk, yogurt, cereal, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal. Not gourmet, but good. This location is good as there are many places to dine and a Walgreens is just a walk away and it is a hop off the interstate. I would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The service is excellent; staff was welcoming and so friendly. The room was updated, clean and comfortable, and we loved the convenience of a restaurant on site. The buffet breakfast was delicious, though the flow of items caused us to search around for what we needed. This is one of the better Best Westerns. We will definitely be back!
This year we have stayed at several Best Western hotels. They seem to be always clean and friendly. And mid price range. It seems we can always depend on them. we have stayed at BW in Utah, Calif., Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
This is a great hotel- great breakfast and restaurant. The pool was nice. Everything was clean, and the staff was very polite. The location is excellent. The lake is close by, as well as shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
It was our first stay at the best western in Coeur D"Alene. Nice clean modern rooms, comfy bed and pillows. The hot tub was nice and hot, and they had a wonderful breakfast and staff were great. The swimming pool was too cold for me and we had to walk outside to get to the pool or too the rest of the building. Overall we would stay there again.
Brandi made our stay worthwhile! She is an exceptional employee whom, through her actions, clearly takes pride in her job and fully embraces customer service. Unfortunately, one lone wolf a few rooms down from ours decided to take it upon himself to violate the no smoking policy and as a result, my wife, kids and I had to bear the stench of cigarettes for the entirety of our stay. The staff quickly addressed the issue, but that did not alleviate the potent odor. Additionally, there were a few used tissues lying around our hotel room floor, tucked under the bed skirt. Overall, the staff was amazing, but the experience was not worth the cost.
When the drive became too long we looked for a room in Coeur D'Alene. One of the people in our party had stayed previously so this was a first choice. After booking 3 rooms on line we arrived to have our reservations printed out and waiting for us. The front desk clerk changed the names and added affinity numbers for each room. Honestly, I've never checked in so quickly. My double queen was immaculate, the bathroom while smaller was clean and for a one night stay, perfect. The next morning took advantage of the pool. The pool is a little hidden, but has a generous deck for spreading out if you are traveling with kids. The morning breakfast was one of the best for the free breakfasts you see offered. I'd definitely stay here again.
This is the nicest place for any type stay - we were there for a conference, but want to come back for a vacation. If you need a place to stop between Seattle and points east or visa versa - the BW is right next to the freeway, and you will have a great time. Great food, a terrific pool, great rooms - all right in the middle of town with everything handy.
From location to facilities to staff -- it is an excellent choice for the traveler. All staff were friendly, courteous, and professional with quick check-in / check-out. Full facilities with lounge, bar, and restaurant.
We had a large, clean room, with a comfortable bed, and very good food from in room service. We brought our dog and appreciated being able to have her with us. Convenient location and very quiet. We would stay here again.
overall stay was very pleasant, room was excellent, location was great, cleaning staff was very friendly, checked in late and was not feeling any love from lady at check in. room was upgraded but but i didn't even know until i got there because lady didn't say much other than direct me to the room.
This was simply a great place to stay! The staff was nice, the food was good and the location was central to all I needed. Nice pool area w poolside bar and restaurant service. Great place for a convention, but I was not here for one. Nice ADA accessible room!
A nice hotel. It is at a very busy intersection so a little hard to get in to. It was very quiet although it is right off the interstate. The staff was especially pleasant. We were there for a conference and the buffets were good, they supplied special meals for the people with dietary restrictions.
Nice hotel close to the freeway yet without the noise. There were many restaurant nearby to try. The hotel staff were friendly and the appearance was above average. The rooms and bed were comfortable. The breakfast was quite good.
This place is an amazing Best Western. One of the very finest we have stayed at. Excellent crew from the front desk to the housekeepers and it was just what we were looking for on our adventure road trip to Oregon. The management is very thoughtful with cool little touches like a Keurig coffee machine which we love. The room was spectacular, very very clean and super well appointed. It was obvious they really do care at this place. We have stayed here before, will stay here again and just continue to be impressed with this property. Well done.
I really have indicated our experience with the hotel and staff. The location was great and the service was on point and helpful. Would like to see the same from other hotels, including some other BWs.
Excellent motel. I highly recommend it. I spent 23 days on a road trip across the western US. This place was one of the best for quality. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, price was reasonable, great breakfast (which was served in the onsite restaurant).
We had passed thru the area many times on I 90 and decided it would be nice to come back and spend the night. The Best Western is the best so we always book them. Dinner then a movie and back to the hotel. Nice rooms with a lounge. Close to shopping and the waterfront area is a must to visit. We will be back.
We had great experience here. Outstanding service ... the staff was extremely helpful at every turn. My husband is in a wheelchair and they were so accommodating. The Accessible room was perfect. Nice & spacious all over, with a lovely roll-in shower. A really great complimentary breakfast, far beyond the norm, with lots of choice. The bar area was nice too. Live music some nights. One night our friends joined us for a card game, and they warmly welcomed us to play all night in the bar, even though we were just having soft drinks. At checkout, they were again above and beyond, not only helping me get the cart out to the van, but actually loaded our luggage into the van for me. No doubt this is our go-to place in Coeur d'Alene!
I just love this place, and return at least twice a year when in town for our conventions. The property is always well kept, clean, with gracious employees. At check in room wasn't ready, but weren't surprised ,as we were very early. So, we enjoyed a fine lunch in the dining room.after lunch, our room was ready and we got to take a rest before evening. We had dinner again in the restaurant. We chose this motel because of the cleanliness, great staff, and no hassles to find a place with good food. We ejoyed the breakfast buffet as well. The buffet was laid out very well, staff was attentive to any refills needed. The motel is an easy, stress free drive to the college campus..the only drawback is the parking. There is a lot of parking.but with the banquet rooms fully booked,it was a challenge to find a handicapped parking space.. so we parked as close as we could to the nearest door. By the time we finished our lunch, the group using the banquet rooms had dispersed,so we were able to move the car to the handicapped space by the door nearest our room. 2 of our group took advantage of the proximity of shopping and walked over while 2 of us rested.it worked perfectly for all four of us.i look forward to booking a room there again in the spring.
Always clean and great people working there they are open when they say they are and no shooting in the hotel. Close to all your needs , easy to find , no hookers hanging out , I travel 75% of my time and it is good to know I can count on best western to provide a great room
Nice clean hotel just of I90 exit 12. nice attractive lobby. Friendly quick staff at check in. Slight problem only on elevator for a rather spread out facility. Room was nice with a quite heating/cooling system. It was nice to have breakfast in an actual restaurant environment.
Well the room was as good as any in the price range. In fact as far as a room goes you could do as well in a less expensive chain. The up side of this facility is the on site restaurant. The dinner was well done and priced. Service was better than expected. Breakfast was much better than you would expect. All that being said, if you are just looking for a cheap crash for the night, this is not the place. If you want some nice extras then here is the place.
Room was clean. Waitstaff at the restaurant were attentive. Restaurant food was okay, not remarkable. Beds were comfortable. Shower worked well there were plenty of clean towels. Workout room was small but very well equipped. Beautiful pool that we didn't use although Hubbie hit the hot tub. Breakfast was better than most complimentary buffets: scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, french toast, oatmeal, fruit, pastries, cereal, etc.
I was quoted a price of $169/night for the room, which seemed fair based on the quality of the motel. However, upon checkout, a surcharge of $8.45 was added to the bill for exterior building and landscaping maintenance. This was clearly an example of the illegal practice of "bait and switch" and should be beneath the dignity of a major chain like Best Western.
Great steak appetizer. Great alcohol coffee drink with whipped cream. The room was huge, modern, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and focused. Got great directions for the remainder of our trip to Glacier.
We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel. The restaurant had really good food and the service was great. Breakfast was the best we have had at any comparable hotels. We will definitely stay at this hotel on all future trips.
This Best Western is an excellent motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and quiet. We liked the restaurant being located within the building. It had good food, great selection and the staff were fun to interact with. Great place to stay.
This is a very comfortable and clean Best Western with excellent staff. I know when I have to stay here that I will have a comfortable night's sleep. The fitness room is top quality, and the lounge staff is great. They always take good care our of conference meetings, too.
This was a beautiful hotel and the hotel representatives were very helpful. The rooms were very nice and with all of your requests taken care of. I have stayed in a lot of Best Western Hotel as I am a diamond member and this is one of the nicest hotels I have experienced. Great Job !!
We always try to stay at this motel when we are in that area. Every thing is usually up to par for making the stay enjoyable They are located so it is easy to get around town from there. The in house restaurant is really nice.
Truly enjoyed the Coeur D' Alene Inn. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant. Food delicious. This was our second time staying at CDA. I would highly recommend staying at CDA Inn.
On our way back from vacation in Canada and this was our mid point home. This was our first stay here. The check in was great, super staff. The place was very busy but had ample parking. The room was clean, on site restaurant that had a complimentary buffet. This location allowed for an on line check in but was not able to use it because of my location riot to arrival. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again.
From the outside it didn't seem anything special. In fact we thought it might be quite noisy as it is by a busy road and fuel station. But the rooms were spacious and the beds were really large and comfortable. Nice and quiet. Good covered pool and hot tub. And the restaurant was surprisingly good for dinner. Dan the restaurant manager served us and he was great fun and made sure our drinks were filled and gave good recommendations on the meals. They even have a free shuttle available or free parking in their sister hotel if you want to eat in town which we did on the 2nd night. The only downside was water pressure in the shower could be better. We were on the 2nd floor so not sure if that makes a difference? All in all would definitely recommend!
This BW is probably the BEST one I've ever stayed in, it was previously a Holiday Inn, so amenities are larger than an avg BW. New pool area and work out facility, exceptional front desk staff!! friendly, and SO accommodating. We had to leave early, and they did the right thing, but not charging us for the second night, due to fires and hazardous smoke. Will totally return when we can see the Lake
The hotel location is convenient to the Coeur d'Alene city center. They offer shuttle service to the Coeur d'Alene resort area and an amazing free breakfast! The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful! This is my favorite place to stay during my weekend getaways!
professional staff, clean rooms and having 42" tv was nice, pool could use some cleaning, very easy to access from interstate and downtown Coeur D' Alene and very close to good restaurants and gas station to fill up when departing
Our trip was for a wedding and our weekend was great the Facilities were great as were the staff. We will stay here again !! There affiliation with other resorts in the area was a great amenity especially for parking.
LARGE gaps under the doors allow you to hear everything in the hallway and letting the front desk know will get you nowhere. Breakfast is dirty and stops well before the advertised time. (at least the coffee brewing does!)
Great location, good amenities, with genuine caring helpful staff. Felt very secure and safe in the hotel and area. Updated rooms with great value for your money. Very prompt trouble free check-in and check-out.
Clean and quiet hotel. Kids enjoyed the pool. Did not try the breakfast. Location was convenient to many restaurants and not far from lake couer d'alene. Only downside was ac didn't seem to adequately cool the room, which made it difficult to sleep but not completely impossible. Overall decent stay.
Overall a fantastic trip. The lake is gorgeous. The entire team at Best Western Plus is attentive, professional and extremely helpful. All departments went above and beyond. From front desk to restaurant crew including shuttle drivers and housekeeping staff. Great place.
Just stayed here for a trip to Silverwood Theme Park (only a straight shot 25 min drive), but come to find out it was also the weekend of the Iron Man race so it was pretty busy all around the city. Overall the hotel was very clean and nice, rooms were cleaned very well, and any staff that I encountered were friendly and always greeted me as I passed by. Plenty of restaurants close by whether fast food or dine-in places. Conveniently located near Triple Play fun center and Silverwood Theme Park. Triple Play is only about 10 minutes away.
Rooms are nice but not cleaned, swimming pool was closed very bad. Almost go in other property. I was impress fro lobby and staff, but room wasn't clean.I called the front desk. And was noise, the receptionist was not helpful.
Nice rooms with modern comfortable beds. Great breakfast buffet, lounge is nice with fireplace and several large format TV's. Nice selection of bar food and drinks. Also has nice pool and gym for this size hotel
Nice place to stay, they had a great restaurant inside the hotel called Mulligans, the waiter we had was great he was funny and took good care of all 12 of us. The food was excellent. They gave a nice place outside of the pool to gather with friends we would stay here again
Location to Silverwood was perfect. It was easy to find off the freeway. Front Desk and Room Service Staff were very helpful. Rooms are newly renovated and comfortable. Pool is a basic pool, but the surrounding area is a nice place to hang out while the kids get wet.
Great Hotel --Easy to Find, great location. Easy drive to Silverwood & easy quick drive to down town Coeur d'Alene. Friendly Staff , very Clean , nice pool area --- court side rooms available. Continental Breakfast amazing -- best we have ever had .
This is a great place to stay. This hotel is well located, has great service, clean comfortable rooms and is perfect for business or pleasure. Great breakfast included with omelet station and all other types of food. Great bar staff and good selection of beverages. They also have a nice fitness center. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We were very pleased with this hotel, staff was very friendly, helpful and the free breakfast was very good. They offered shuttle service to town which was very handy. Highly recommend this hotel to others.
Drive down and went to Silverwood for a long day of fun in the sun so checked in late around 10pm, front desk was fantastic quick and explained the breakfast in the am pool etc, room was great, very clean comfortable. Breakfast was amazing a huge free buffet for everyone to enjoy worth the stay there for sure wow I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns but this was really great even an omelette station. Kids went swimming after and I have to say most pools are ridiculously cold this one was warm and perfect for once! Kids were shocked at how warm it was, will defiantly stay here again on our yearly trip to Idaho!
Normally I like Best Westerns but this was disappointing. The room was tiny and cramped. They let some convention set up a registration table outside our room so that made it noisy. Though close to I-90 this is a very congested area and traffic is miserable, making it hard to get to downtown CDA. Breakfast was good, but dinner at the restaurant was just average. No good restaurants in walking distance. We chose another hotel the next time we were in CDA.
We travelled down from Alberta and had a great get away trip. Our kids are add 10 and 11 and they enjoyed the pool in the evenings. After returning from the park each night we ordered room service and ate by the pool and relaxes while the kids swam and enjoyed the hot tub. The staff are friendly and the food prices are reasonable. We had a court side room which was nice because we could access the pool from our room. Great place, we will go again.
Never again. Horrible price for the quality of the room. I will be paying half of what I paid here at The Grand this next weekend. Loud music until past 1030. Dogs barking early in the morning. Whenever the next door door would slam our entire would move and shake.
This is a great location, a nice clean hotel. The pool and hot tub is great for the family. Breakfast better than avg for hotels. My bed and covers were extremely comfortable. Have stayed here both winter and summer, and both were great. Only complaint would be that they are always too full for us to use our points.
As much as possible we like staying in BestWestern. They are generally a good value and very nice places. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. We travel with our dog and they provide treats, bed, water dish, a toy for the puppy . Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable.
We stayed here on our way gor a week of camping. Brandi The Manager was a delight and absolutley wonderful to deal with. In fact all the staff was polite, friendly and helpful. What a great hotel. Clean, breakfast was really good. Kids loved the courtyard rooms with the balcony to the pool. We had the Jacuzzi suite gor my wife and I. We will be back!!
The staff we so accommodating. The rooms were clean. The price was a little high, but the restaurant, bar and swimming pool made up for that higher price. It was easy to get to Silverwood from this location. We will definitely stay here again!
Spent 4 days there to visit Silverwood Amusement Theme Park. Staff were very helpful. Enjoyed the swimming pool after spending each day out having fun, Order supper in and enjoyed the meals that were delivered in a speedy time. Spent the trip with my grandchildren and children. They enjoyed the movies they were able to watch prior to bed for their down time. Other restaurants are within walking distance. A very clean and enjoyable place. My family recommends it.
Friendly staff, clean hotel, love the pool and hot tub. Free breakfast was great. Nice variety of food to choose from. We will definitely come back and stay in Couer d lane Best Western. Loved the lobby area. Tastefully done.
A little pricey but very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here. Restaurant has great food, service, and prices. Complementary breakfast was good. Front desk was very helpful and professional. Pool and pool area is very relaxing. Rooms very clean.
This hotel is newly remodeled and beautiful and comfortable. The complimentary full breakfast pleased this bacon lover. The hotel guests get to use the facilities of the nearby resort for a fraction of the room cost. If you don't need to be on the lake at this great Idaho resort community this Best Western is the place to stay.
We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past. The lobby is very nice upon entry. We got the Silverwood package and a weeknight stay was nearly $370. Okay value considering you get 2 silverwood tickets, $25 silverwood credit, and $50 to restaurant Mulligans in hotel. Still seemed high price compared to others although we choose this bc of the package. The rooms were decent. The toiletries were not very nice qualify and I expected more from a high cost hotel. The beds were comfortable. The pool was fun for the kids and adults alike. The bathroom in the room is right on the hallway wall and seemed weird to hear people walking by and talking while your in the shower. Unfortunately the reason for the rating was the checkout process. Upon booking we used one card to hold room. When we checked yesterday we informed the front desk that we would be paying wwith a different method on check out and he said no problem. This morning when checking our accounts we noticed 3 separate charges trying to go through our bank. $25, $100,$100. We went to front to check out and ask what happened the manager who helped us said the gentleman yesterday was new and shoulve taken our alternative payment yesterday to avoid card from getting charges today. She said they could reverse them and take our other method of payment. I know how that would work and it would take days, meanwhile freezing our money until it's returned. We opted to pay as it was. Super frustrating because she seemed to want to make excuses for a new employee. That's alot of money when your on vacation and counting how to plan activities etc. Unfortunately we then spent one hour moving monies around to accommodate the mess. Bottom line is way you pay that much for a hotel things should be correct in how your money is handled.
We stayed one night in each direction of our vacation so two nights total. Each time we were greeting by friendly staff. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and they provide breakfast. I was especially pleased with the kindness of the staff.
We used this hotel as our base when we visited Silverwood. The kids loved the pool and the courtyard. Breakfast was amazing! We were able to have dinner at Mulligans too and it was fantastic. Our waiter Dan P was so helpful and friendly.
On a recent trip to Silverwood we stayed at the Best Western on Appleway. At the beginning, Clint was able to help us with our reservation, and print out our Silverwood tickets plus give tips. His personality and care for our group was outstanding! After a long, fun day we enjoyed ourselves in the pool that was clean and supplied with towels. I recommend this inn to anyone with a family.
The hotel was very nice for the price. The complimentary breakfast was a nice addition. The service was EXCELLENT. Missie even remembered guest's by name which was remarkable. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience here. I would stay here again.
This Best Western was a lovely stay. Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. The decor of room was so nice and the breakfast was awesome! The staff was helpful and how nice to get an apple upon arrival.
This hotel was a great choice. The breakfast was great with wonderful staff. I loved the pool area with the outdoor space. It was nice to be able to sit outdoors and watch the kids swim. The pool area was clean and spacious and the water temps were perfect. The lobby and lounge are nice.
This hotel has great staff and very comfortable rooms...the halls are super long, but once you get used to the layout everything seems handy. I love the breakfast, more comprehensive than any I have ever seen, and this is a great hotel for families. I was on business and it was quiet and convenient, plus they have refrigerators and microwaves, coffee maker in each room. Pool is heated and work out room is excellent.
I was very impressed from the moment I arrived. One of the staff arranged a Lake tour as well as shuttle transportation to and from the harbor. The onsite restaurant was very good and they serve a very nice complimentary buffet breakfast.
Every single staff person we encountered on this stay exceeded expectations. Scott in Mulligans is the hotel STAR! Employee of the Month for sure. Nice update on the property. Pool are was clean and so fun. Breakfast buffet was the absolute best we've had on a 3 week road trip. Couldn't believe the great food and delish made to order omelets. Loved having complimentary transportation to the Resort.
All was great except someone entered my room @ 4:33am. Not sure who she was & a bit scary. She didn't say anything l but sorry. I had my room secure, but that didn't help. The motel & rooms were great, but the unknown woman was scary.
Arrived in Cd'a on a hot July day and when entering the lobby we had to wait for several minutes for 2 workers to finish talking before we could finally get checked in. The hotel is clean and neat but lacks the attention of the workers you might expect for a $240.00 per stay visit! There are many, many options at that intersection of I-90 and US-95 to choose from and next time I will choose differently because of the high priced rooms at BW.
We stayed for 2 nights in June for our Anniversary! This property is close to the freeway rather than the lake/downtown but that should not be a deterrent for booking a stay! The rooms were spacious, very clean, unexpectedly quiet (given that the property was sold out both nights of our stay!) and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast buffet was a step above the norm and though we didn't take advantage of the restaurant or lounge, both are onsite. The staff was awesome! We didn't realize when we booked our stay that it was the same weekend as the CDA 1/2 Triathalon. Much of downtown was impacted and rather than try to negotiate detours, parking and crowds, the front desk arranged for a shuttle to get us downtown (it appears the property has a relationship with the resort on the lake as it was one of their shuttles)! We would definitely come again and stay longer!
Our family loves everyhting about this hotel!!! We have stayed twice and its the hotel that my 4 year old wanted to stay at for her birthday. The food is always good the rooms are always clean and nice and the people, everyone has always gone out of their way to make our trip and experince amazing.
This is the second time we have stayed while going to Silverwood. Awesome place with very friendly, helpful staff. The room was very clean and the kids loved the pool which was open late. Would definitely come stay again.
Great staff great facility would recommend it to anybody. They have a great breakfast the pool area is great for kids and family. Loved that they had Bar Lounge area a restaurant on site. Rooms were clean grooming fit our family of five just fine
We always stop in couer d'alene on our trips through idaho. Lovely town, great people, absolutely beautiful lake. Best Western here is nice and licated right off the highway. After a day of riding we checked into our room showered and changed. Called Uber and hit the downtown area by the lake for some happy hour. Got back to the hotel around eight and stopped in the lounge for dinner, great service and enjoyed a delicious seafood macaroni dish, husband had a fried chicken meal. Thank you
From the moment we walked in and we're greeted by Laura, I was very impressed with all the staff. The rooms were clean and comfy, the breakfast was excellent, all the staff were friendly and smiling. Very happy to stay here again
The Staff at this Hotel is Unfriendly and not helpful. Stood at front desk for quite sometime before being acknowledged. Online pictures paint a much better picture. This Hotel is is nice in the lobby but the rooms are junk. Rooms are small, bathrooms are very small. I would not recommend staying here. You are better off driving 30 mins to Liberty Lake, if this hotel is your only option!
Overall decent nights stay. I will admit my review is tempered by the following nights stay at the Coeur D'Alene resort. The Best Western just can't compare. A good budget conscious stay. WiFi was a bit slow but that is probably more a regional thing than specific to the hotel.
This hotel is right at the I-90 and US 95 intersection. I was a little worried the road noise would be an issue but once in our room you could not hear any road noise at all. We chose this hotel based on price and location since we wanted to go into Coeur d'alene and drive up to Silverwood Park. The rooms were clean, neat, and up to date. Nothing looked worn, tattered, or old. The free breakfast in the morning was a huge plus. A full buffet with an omelette station. We will make this our regular spot when visiting this area.
A home away from home. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Restaurant has a great menu and friendly efficient staff. Excellent pool and hot tub area. Our only issue was arriving during peak times as the traffic to turn into the hotel was hectic.
This Was the Best "Best Western" hotel we've EVER stayed at. Close to Silverwood theme park and even offer what they call "the Silverwood package" hotel stay and tickets to the park at an awesome rate. We will be back and will stay there.
This is easily the nicest Best Western we've stayed at to date. The room was clean and comfortable. The on-site restaurant and bar made it easy to relax too. The kicker was when we had breakfast, a young lady made omelets for those who wanted. The other food was also real and fresh. Can't go wrong here if you can afford it.
Yes a lil pricey, but its a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. Very nice and clean rooms. A female traveling alone, but felt extremely safe and secure here and that was a huge plus in my needs. Beautiful!! And an amazing bartender with the best personality ,so a definitely shout out to Kami! Your awesome.
Good location, easy to find, congenial staff, fast checkin and checkout service, good breakfast, close to other restaurants, gas stations, connecting freeways. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and have always had a good experience staying here. Love the newly updated and remodeled hotel.
We booked online, based on photos and area we were travelling through. Not much available due to Iron Man event. Our room, on main floor was a garden view of the gas station directly next to property...head car, truck, motorcycles, all night. Dated room with NO internet and weak wi-fi. Free breakfast was a joke, coffee was good. We only needed a place to sleep, but expected more based on price!
Stayed here one night for access to Silverwood Park. Nice and clean. Very accommodating. We did the Silverwood package and they let us pre check in early to get our discounted tickets and gift card. Pool was nice. Restaurant was good.
Excellent room with lots of help and excellent staff with one of the best inclusive breakfasts ever. I would highly recommend this hotel in Coeur d'Alene. Our famioly was there for a wedding and Andrea went out of her way to accommodate us in every way.
We stayed here just the one night, the room was very clean and comfortable. Had some drinks at the bar and the lady behind the bar was so lovely and friendly. We decided to stay for dinner, the meal was excellent portion sizes huge. After such an excellent meal and a few drinks we retired to our room and slept very well.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus, Coeur d'Alene and was very well taken care off, the staff was amazing. The hotel amenities were top notch and would highly recommend staying here.
I stayed here a year ago and went back because of the people. I just enjoy staying here because of well they make you feel and the way they take care of the guests when you stay. There is a lounge that is just awesome and the girls that work there are so fun and must say there is never a dull moment there the food is great and the atmosphere is great to and it just to put it out there stay here and enjoy.
We were very pleased with our accommodations at this hotel. Even though the hotel was located right off the freeway we did not hear any freeway noise. ;o) Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. It was quiet which is a big plus for us. It also came with a very nice breakfast buffet. The staff did a great job of making sure everything was kept full. They were responsive to the needs of their customers. The staff at the reservation desk were very pleasant and even helped with recommendations on where to eat, etc. We'd stay here again!
Nice place good breakfast! The hotel staff were kind, and unobtrusive. Pool was excellent for the kids and hot tub for adults. Room was quiet and despite being close to the highway; could not hear traffic noise
The room was comfortable, the conference rooms were good, the restaurant food was amazing, and the pool was a great way to relax. The shuttle to the Spokane airport was comfortable and a great value. Great place to stay in Coeur d'Alene.
Extremely pleasant front desk personnel who are only too happy to help with directions, etc. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel breakfast was very good as was the food in the restaurant. Overall, our stay was outstanding at this hotel!
The lady who welcomed us to the hotel was very astute and knowledgeable of the activities, restaurants and did give us a map with great directions to the several places that were available. We found the explanation, to us about the television channels was most helpful, as every town seems to have different channel numbers for their stations. Since we had arrived from a different time zone, she noticed we were not aware of the change and gave us correct time, in order we could make our connections properly.
We were welcome just as if we were family and made sure we had everything we need if not they would take care of instantly. No problem have out dog with us.He was accept like family too.The only thing is the weather was not the best and it was a long way to take pet to the area that they were to relive them self but we managed just find best part was the area was clean when ever we used it.
If relaxation is your goal I recommend this location, the staff is friendly, and you have everything at your fingertips. There is no need to go out to dine as they have pool side service delivery from the restaurant and lounge located on the property along with room service. The rooms are clean and comfortable and offer easy access to the pool and hot tub area.
I would have to say, if you are looking for a nice hotel that has everything, you should try Best Western. It's very beautiful property in a great easy location, in a beautiful town. It's well worth stopping and staying at. I was in town for business but managed to get out and check out the town which made it nice. Great staff and great Hotel.
Place is clean. Super friendly staff. More modern on the inside. Mattress was very comfortable. Pet area was easy to access. Spa and hot tub were clean. Loved having the sliding door going over to the pool from our room. Food in restaurant was very good. Breakfast needed a little help.
This was the very best Best Western Motel that we've ever stayed in -- comfortable, clean beds - firm but not hard, very clean rooms arranged well, and a real breakfast with many options of cooked eggs, bacon, etc. plus fresh fruit options, cereals as well. They also provided real silverware and real dishes.Much appreciated as easier, more pleasant to use, but also appreciated lack of waste.
The pool and hot tub area are very well planned out. You can play in the pool/hot tub and feel like you are out side. It's covered so you don't get sunburnt and the surrounding walls are actually glass sliding doors which make it feel as if you were out doors enjoying the weather.
Too expensive for one night. Traveling for a long time and was tired. There was some event going on, the rooms were price wise jacked up. I have been staying at Best Western Hotels for over 22-years, you would have thought with that on recored I would not have had to pay $200.00 for a bed to sleep in. It was not even in the busy season.
Good Location. It was easy to get to from the freeway. The hotel had a nice appearance inside and out. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was included. There is a restaurant and Lounge. I would stay there again if I was passing through Coeur d'Alene.
We stayed here two nights this week and were impressed with the clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. We did have trouble using the coffee machine in our room as we have at other Best Western Hotels, a Keurig type machine. I was less than impressed with the free breakfast, as this restaurant is open to everyone, not just guests of the hotel. They also had a menu breakfast ($3 off for hotel guests) which was very good, so my advice is go for the menu and forget the free.
If you are looking for something on or near the lake, this won't do it. It's two miles north of the lake. There are a number of accommodations closer to the lake. If you want a central location near the freeway (I-90) however, this is a good place. There is a restaurant and lounge on site, and a nice workout room and indoor pool. It is also pet friendly. The rooms have been updated fairly recently, and they are nice, but nothing spectacular. We had a "garden view room" which was great -- ground floor, sliding door with small patio & greenery. Very quiet, couldn't hear the freeway. I would rate the meals we had at the restaurant "average", and the accommodations "very good".
This hotel is owned and operated by the same group as the cda resort and many other successful restaurants in the area. As the other reviews indicate the pool, restaurant, and guest rooms are exceptional. Also, there are frequently large banquet parties put on by local organizations. The cda inn hits the nail on the head of all things important when it comes to a family friendly place to stay.
This hotel is easy access off the highway with lots of parking. This hotel is rated as a plus but it should be a premium as the restaurant an bar are very upscale. The pool an workout room are very family oriented. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a great place to relax an enjoy a great stay
The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is in this really nice building with big windows you had to go outside to get too. in my opinion, it was nicer then most hotel pools. There was also a gas station just across the parking lot to buy beer. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed last June during the Ironman 70.3. Easy to get to the coarse and close to everything. Staying again this June for the same race. A nice surprise was a to go breakfast for the athletes participating in the race. Very cool. Thank you
Upon arriving early from an early morning start on the coast, we were allowed to check-in and were greeted by a very personable desk clerk. I used my points and had no problem receiving a cute toy for our dog. That evening we dined at the restaurant and found the server very engaging and responsive. The prices were great as was the food! The bed was welcoming after being on the road all night so it was a great place to stop. I would highly recommend it based on my experiences.
I was wowed by the room I got. The hotel staff especially at check in on 5/3 about 12:30 was phenomenal. The young lady was pleasant over the top helpful and very pleasant. If I were to come to the area again, I'd very definitely stay at this Best Western.
The hotel is clean and nice but for the cost there are definitely better and nicer options with the same price tag. Our group was treated nicely, but we had over 10 rooms booked with our block. We watched the staff treat others very poorly. Also, I had family come to meet me and the front desk staff was very rude to them while they waited for me in the lobby as my meeting ran long. The pool area gave the best of both indoors and out which was unique and nice. They also had a good breakfast and wifi throughout the building. There was also a bar and resteraunt right there. The hotel is easy to access and located where you can also walk to various attractions as well.
Easter Trip to see grandkids in Oregon spent time shopping ,eating out at great restaurants ,site seeing ,looking for whales, seeing family and friends. Looking forward to the next time we go back to see family and friends!
The Best Weatern Plus has very nice-updated rooms. My room was on the first floor with courtyard access. The staff was friendly and I didn't have any issues during my stay. The property has easy access and ample parking and was easy to find.
This property is not a Best Western Plus property .....Best Western dropped the ball on rating this one as a Plus property. It is not and you can do much better in the Coeur D'Alene area for less money
Enjoyed my stay, Staff not as friendly as other Best Westerns. ROOM was very clean, internet was great! Shower was very hot, would have loved more shower pressure, then it would have been perfect. A little disclaimer, if you're not a dog person, try to request a room away from the barking.
Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly front desk people (Brandi, Clint, Missy). Is part of the Coeur D'Alene Resort family. Very well kept grounds, ample parking, inviting fireplace in lobby, computer and printer available for boarding pass printout. Spacious room: king bed, desk and chair, dresser, comfy reading chair with ottoman. Microwave and refrigerator. Complimentary breakfast has eggs, pancakes or waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, potatoes, rolls, cereal, fruit. Milk and yogurt kept in little refrigerator at breakfast buffet. Only negative is how some wait staff at breakfast stand around and complain about their hours or other staff. It wasn't apparent anyone was in charge of that staff.
Awesome hotel! Very clean, easy to find. Restaurant was fantastic! If you get Dan as your Waiter feel blessed he was amazing, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The court yard is really nice to walk though, just a great place overall. Our daughters are living in the area and this hotel with become our home away from home for sure!
I had a group of 20 teenagers and 8 adults at the BestWestern for one night. The staff handled my group rate request (made weeks in advance) efficiently and with great service. Check-in was a breeze. Check-out was a breeze. The facility was great....rooms, pool, breakfast...laundry...parking. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
This hotel has a great entrance and lobby area. The food in the bar and restaurant is great. The wait staff are extremely friendly and efficient.I would highly recommend this hotel. It is in a great location and convenient to shopping and the downtown area.
Very nice hotel at a great price. The complimentary was the usual fair except better tasting food and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. Can't find much to complain about except the squeaky bed!!!!
Excellent facility and staff. From check in to check out, the staff made this an excellent experience. The restaurant has awesome food and the lounge area is relaxing. I definitely recommend this location for my fellow road warriors as well as family vacationers.
We stayed five nights at this Best Western Plus while visiting family. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the lobby after a nice dinner. All the employees were so helpful!
Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Room was small but nice. Bed was comfortable and the room had large flat screen tv and a fridge. Bathroom was clean. Parking lot loops around the hotel and I was lucky enough to park my truck by the room window on the bottom floor. Overall the room was nice for an overnight stay and price was reasonable.
This hotel is used by the locals for events big and small. The banquet rooms are a bit overpriced, but adaptable to just about any group. Rooms are nice, but not very large. It has an indoor pool, a nice restaurant and bar. Easy access off of I90 and convenient to get downtown CdA where all the fun stuff happens.
This hotel is easy to find just off the interstate. They have a large parking lot. We were cheerfully greeted at the front desk and without too much bother were directed to our room. Our room was large, clean and quiet. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and swimming pool. The restaurant was very busy for dinner, so we ate at the Chinese restaurant around the corner. The breakfast buffet had a large selection.
I would have to say this was the top Best Western I have stayed at. The room was up-to-date with regard to furnishings. The room was very clean. The beds were quite comfortable. Maybe the "Plus" in the name refers to the great breakfast. The off-season room charge was very respectable. The food in the restaurant was very well prepared and tasty.
Very clean comfy rooms, curtious staff. Pet friendly, your pet even gets a great goody bag!! Have stayed here several times and will definitely return. Great location easy to find. The only negative thing is that I do not think that people should be allowed in the restaurant in their pj's, sock feet etc.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, for 1-night in early Oct ($99). The hotel was located at the intersection of the I-90 and US-95 in a cluster of hotels, gas stations and fast food restaurants. It was definitely not within walking distance to downtown, a 10-min drive down busy US-95 and local streets to the lake. Best Western plus quality was evident throughout, from the maintenance to the pool/jacuzzi to the bar and restaurant. Our queen room was large and decorated with dark wood furnishings (desk/chair, upolstered chair and ottoman, plenty of storage with a chest of drawers and closet); there was a microwave and a large (42 in) flat-screen TV. The bathroom was adequate but somewhat dated and the water pressure in the shower was low. There was a restaurant in the hotel, but it had a buffet feel rather than any sense of elegance. Much better was Mulligan's Sports Bar next to the restaurant, which had excellent food and great specials. On the night we dined there, the special was a free bottle of wine with 2 entrees; we had a liver plate, Jack Daniels steak and 2 microbrews for only $40. Breakfast, served in the restaurant, was excellent – scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, mini-muffins, fruits, juices, coffee – one of the best on the trip. Coeur d'Alene is a pleasant town with a compact downtown core and a nice lakefront. It is a good base if you plan to drive the many scenic byways (Palouse, White Pine, Coeur d'Alene Lake) between the city and Pullman. The Best Western delivers all of the quality you could hope for at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.
The Best Western in Coeur d'Alene is one of the best I have stayed at - outstanding staff (and not just one or two, but all of them). Coming back to this location us a no brainer. Access is goid from both I90 to Spokane and Seattle and 95 to Canada.
Would definatly use again if we had a chance. Very nice staff, good clean rooms, decent value. good location. Free breakfast is always welcome. Restaurant was a little above average. Never really have we had a bad experience at Best Western.
My mother and I had been on a 14 day road trip and this hotel was the last in our trip. We were tired. The staff and accommodations made it easy for us to relax and get a good night sleep. The room was beautiful, the bed luxuriously comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. We wished we could spend more nights.
Nice clean and beautiful; room and grounds. The pool area was spectacular. Would love to come and enjoy this feature when the weather is warmer, plus we arrived close to 10pm..too late for a dip in the pool.
We had a last minute reservation and got into our room quickly and out to the hotel bar for drinks in no time. Out to dinner with tons of options nearby and good selection and choices. Easy entry and exit from/to I 90 and back out on the road in no time.
The Best Western was a perfect in every aspect during our stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were delightful and comfortable and very clean with up to date furnishings including a 50 inch LCD T.V. & Keurig coffee maker. The lobby was inviting with couch and chairs by a warm fire for visiting. The breakfast is incredible with an all you can eat breakfast buffet consisting of thick bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, fruit and much more. Lots of restaurants and shopping close by and a short drive to the city center by the lake. Best of all the price was very reasonable. Hard to beat and highly recommended.
I booked this "accessible" room for two days for my elderly Mother, a month prior to arrival through hotels.com. The Best Western had wonderful photos of a nice hot tub and pool and my Mother suffers from arthritic conditions that needed the hot tub. When we got here, the hot tub was "temporarily" out of order. The front desk assured us that it would be fixed the following morning. NOT! Same story the following day. The complimentary breakfast items were all cold by the time they were dished up. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. The second day, the maids didn't even straighten up the beds, just replaced the coffee and toiletries. I am not impressed with this place for being a "Best Western Plus". Plus what?
We were on our way to Montana from the Portland. Made reservation for a night on the road. This was clean and had all we needed in one place, Nice bar and little restaurant, gas station next door and near the freeway. Good breakfast for the morning before hitting the road again. We made a reservation for the trip home before we left and it was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We told family about it and they also stayed there on their was to come see us the following week. We stay there the next trip through.
Not bad if you are a smoker or have dogs. Lobby and bar look nice but overall it is just a renovated Holiday Inn. Smoking is permitted at the doors so the lobby, breakfast area, hallways, and rooms reek of it. No, thanks, I can find my own breakfast.
We stayed for a week. all staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was outstanding. The room was comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the food at Mulligan's restaurant. I requested more glasses in room and they were delivered immediately
Would just like to say I wish all Best Western Hotels could be like this one. Clean, spacious, friendly staff, bar and restaurant with INDOOR pool. While out on the family road trip pulled over for the night and we are happy we did. If the chain could have a model this would be it !
We most definitely enjoyed our stay at the B/W Plus Coeur d'Alene. The property features an attractive lobby area, (v. good) hotel run restaurant and bar. The pool and gym are very good as well. Hotel room was very well appointed, really clean with a comfortable bed. We heard no noise from other rooms, the hallway or parking area. Bathroom was well lit and attractive. Shower/bath was great with no shortage of hot water. The included breakfast which is served in the restaurant from 6:30-9:30 was better than average. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. By the way, this is a very busy hotel. We highly recommend it!
Needed a get away from Bonners Ferry, Idaho. So we trekked down to Coeur d'Alene. Picked this place because I wanted know how well they lived up to the Plus. Worth it every penny. Got upgraded at the desk by the very friendly staff. Pool and Tub both very clean and well kept. The grounds very well landscaped and clean. I hope to enjoy the comforts of this place again. Although they are right next to the freeway slept quietly.
I travel a great deal, and see both the best and the worst of the accommodations industry including AirB&B, regular B&B, and hotel/motel properties. This property is exceptional - and here's why: Have a CPAP, iPad, Android phone, and Windows 10 computer (my family is poly) and possibly other electronics to charge? Rooms have *multiple quad outlets* everywhere. Did somebody forget your smartphone charger? No problem. Plus directly into the lamp - there are two ports. I can put up with a lot traveling - but wimpy WiFi really depresses me (and no, I don't Netflix!) However, WiFi here is the best I've seen - and yes, I do look at some videos, but I'm a musician preparing for the Fall season and I need to learn some tunes so I can play with others. ANYway, the WifI was very fast. The morning breakfast/brunch is better than most food-quality wise, but there was a bit of a clog in the line waiting for eggs (I'm a cereal person, so I zipped in). The property was pretty quiet (I was on the second floor). The room doors closed almost silently (unlike most KA_LLLUNK!!!) hotel doors. Loved the card key system too - just tap the card on the plate, and you're silently, and quickly, into your room. My hubby is scent-sensitive, and some hotels can present environments where Fabreze, Bounce, and Glade have terrible collisions and render the air difficult to deal with. At this property, only the towels had freshener in them, and not the bedsheets, so no late night sneezing and Stuffiness. Lastly, pillowtop mattresses, people! The place had pillowtop beds that were comfortable! None of those beds where you roll into the middle! And plenty of half size pillows (for those of you you might have joint or hip replacements, and need to insert a pillow between your knees). You know who you are. I would stay here again in a heartbeat...if only I liked Coeur d'Alene. I was underwhelmed by the town, but NOT the hotel. Highly recommended!
Attentive staff, very helpful. Relaxing rooms. Breakfast was outstanding each morn I ng with a nice variety of options. It would be nice to be able to access upper floors with a luggage cart more easily.
The hotel desk staff, the housekeeping staff, and the breakfast staff were friendly and courteous, and helped us to have a very enjoyable stay. We asked for and received a quiet room on the highest available level, which was very much appreciated.
We enjoyed our stay and especially liked the restaurant menu and pricing. The staff was most helpful. My husband loved the tri-angle bathroom mirror and lights and said it was the best he had ever used. The bed was comfortable and we felt safe.
I had just stayed at a Best Western in Chiliwack British Columbia. It was very nice. In comparison, for the same price, I felt the Couer d'Alene Best Western was bare bones accommodations. Our ground floor room had a slightly musty odor. The overall atmosphere seemed chilly.
As a Plus for Best Western it need another Plus. Clean, great staff and excellent restaurants. The free breakfast was the best I've found in 14 countries in the past 9 years. The only problem is the one elevator is in the far, far end and you have to go outside to use it. If you use a wheeled walker like me book a ground floor ahead of time.
We stopped at BW in Coeur d'lene for one night to break up a long drive to Seattle. Our stay there provided much more than what we had time to make use of, but we would certainly stay here again if we plan another trip in the NW of USA. The continental breakfast was a full offering of regular breakfast fare. Well stocked and tended to by staff. Our only complaint was the coffee pouches supplied in our room were too small for the 5 cup carafe in the coffee maker. This we discovered after making a cup of coffee that was way to weak. We did ask for more coffee from the front desk and re-made with two pouches, which was an adequate amount for the size of carafe.
Stayed at this establishment for 3 nights, while visiting family. Very large rooms, with very comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast was larger than most, with an excellent variety of items. The entire staff was very helpful, informative and would go out of their way to be helpful. Very pleasant visit. Will stay there any time we're in the vicinity. Thanks for a wonderful time.
We are on a road trip and like to use the Best Western brand for stopovers and this one did not disappoint. Very friendly reception, good room, free wifi. Breakfast offered the nice surprise that they had soy milk and gluten free toast.
Stayed again and was very pleased with our room. The room, hallways, pool area were immaculate. The help seem to enjoy pleasing quests and take pride in their lodge. The general manager walked around greeting quests and being sure everything was perfect.
Past experience with Best Western was ok but not great. That changed with this visit. To be honest we are Hilton/Hampton folks and this was our first stay at a BW "Plus". This unit would hold up well to any of its competitors. Fresh, new, comfortable. Breakfast buffet among the best in class. Chef out at least four times while we ate checking on the food. Staff also responsive. There were dogs barking outside our window for nearly an hour. I called the front desk to let them know. A short time later the barking stopped, the desk called our room and said that the dogs were in a car, they had found the owners and solved the problem. Cool. Location fine. 10' from the downtown area where we went to shop and eat. One negative which prevents me from giving a five star review ... there is one elevator on one side of the building. Our room was on the opposite side of the building and we didn't realize how far of a hike that really was. We are "senior citizens" and had a lot of stuff because we have been on the road awhile. Just not very convenient. Bottom Line: we will now look favorably on Best Western Plus. I would recommend this particular unit just be sure your are near the elevator if you have a lot of luggage.
This hotel is great for any occasion, business or pleasure, they have a full free breakfast, or there is a restaurant if you would like to have different choices, the rooms are very comfortable with a multitude of outlets for all your devices, very friendly staff, I would stay there anytime I am in the area
We were using our rewards points so we weren't really sure what to expect. They gave us the honeymoon suite! It was beautiful. It had a jetted tub, with plenty of towels and toiletries. It had a separate eating area with microwave and frig. This was a beautiful room, we loved it. Breakfast was a buffet. There was plenty of food, but the quality wasn't that good. Skip the gravy, it was extremely bland. The buffet is in the hotel restaurant. There's a beautiful pool area, with hot tub and workout room. Easy access to the freeway. We had nice, quiet night.
We stayed here overnight while we were on a driving holiday in the US. The rooms are modern, clean and well appointed. The location is right near the interstate (although far enough away that you do not hear any noise). It is about a 15 minute drive into the centre of town. The breakfast was nice with a good variety and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Stayed at this Best Western on a combo golf package with the Coeur d'Alene resort (they own the BW). We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite that was way more than comfortable. The golf arrangements were handled well and I really enjoyed playing the course again. We had dinner downtown in a new restaurant. Breakfast was average and a little confusing since they mix walkins and hotel guests in the same area. Major thanks to the desk clerk who check us in and premature congratulations on her impeding arrival.
ADA conference was hosting this event. Presenting a bid for a future conference to be in Seattle area. Great swimming pool and hot tube that was really hot too. We had great service at our banquet night with the servers too. ADA needs were met when needed too. Thank you
I took my daughter to Coeur d'Alene for a mom and daughter getaway weekend. We just wanted to relax, shop a bit and eat at a couple of our favorite places. The BW Coeur d'Alene was a perfect choice! The hotel is centrally located, clean, quiet, and has a friendly staff and great on-site restaurant! We stayed in a room on the courtyard by the pool. The beds were comfortable and the room was nicely decorated and clean! We had a small seating area with a couch and chair next to a sliding door that led to a nice patio complete with an umbrella table with four chairs. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best I've seen (and I travel and stay in hotels a lot!). The breakfast was set up in a large open conference room on a huge buffet table. There were fruits, cheeses, assorted breads, cereals and sweet rolls, assorted meats and egg dishes, hash browns and even a dessert table. It was a lovely brunch style meal. The food was fresh, replenished often and very tasty! I felt the price I paid for the room was fair for the quality of the stay. I would stay here again in a minute!
We were so surprised when we showed up to a huge, clean room, along with a great restaurant/bar (had some of the best appetizers) and right off highway for easy access. For what we paid, we were so pleased with the quality. Bed were comfortable.
the front desk staff was very pleasant. had dinner in the lounge. it was very good and the rum was excellent. the lobby was very spacious. all staff were polite and courteous. it's very nice to have all amenities on the property so you don't have to get back on the bike to go find a meal or a drink
Very nice hotel. Enjoyed the restaurant For a late breakfast the next morning. I left my chiropractic pillow behind and they were awesome. Had it marked and ready for our cousin to pick up. Excellent service.
This year I have spent a lot of time staying at this hotel, the staff are exceptional always happy and always looking to make your stay a good one. The standard of the rooms are very good. Great sports bar where you can chat, relax and have the a couple of 1910's
I try to stay at Best Western Hotels whenever I travel because of their consistency of maintaining clean rooms, amenities offered and their friendly, accommodating staff. My family stayed at a Best Western Plus hotel in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for one night and we were extremely impressed with the ambience of the rooms. The hotel was also very quiet and we both got a good night's sleep. The hotel restaurant was very reasonably priced and the food was very good.
The hotel is conveniently located right off exit 12 on I-90 and the turn-off to Canada, Sandpoint and Schweitzer ski area. From the hotel, a number of nearby roads lead straight into downtown Coeur d'Alene, an easy 5 minute drive. The hotel is new, clean and comfortable. It also includes a decent restaurant. We ended up eating there twice because their salad options are fresh, well prepared and a great bargain at about $ 10. The staff is efficient and friendly. The $ 230 price tag (plus various taxes and surcharges) seemed a bit steep, but we stayed there during Ironman weekend, when all hotels are full. A generous breakfast was included. We didn't bring kids, but saw several families with children of various ages who seemed to enjoy themselves. A place to come back to when we are in the area.
Booked online and when we showed up our online rate was doubled. Even though we had a print out of the internet rate we reserved under, the hotel would not honor that rate when we showed up to check in. Their claim is there was an error in their reservation system and it under quoted the room for the dates we had elected to stay. They would not honor the internet rate no matter how much we asked them to do so.
Staff was courteous and professional, room and general hotel amenities were very clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was well prepared. Pricey at almost $200/night, but an excellent hotel overall. Easy on/off access from I-90 and only a 10 minute drive to the downtown waterfront made it an ideal overnight location.
The Best Western plus in Couer d Alene is a great hotel for family's to stay at. It has a great free breakfast buffet with lots of food. It has a pretty good pool and a very relaxing hot tub as well. The pool is in a sunroom which is very cool. Plus the hotel is very close to stores and also to Silverwood which is what I went to as I stayed. They have a very good sports bar in there and the Service is very friendly and awesome. It's properly the best hotel you can stay at in Couer d Alene.
My wife and I stayed here for only one night while on a Globus bus tour from Seattle of the Pacific Northwest (primarily locations in Washington, Idaho, and Montana including Glacier National Park). In general, the accommodations that Globus provided were mediocre, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Best Western Plus Coeur D'Arlene Inn. There, the Inn staff greeted us with champagne and hor d'oeuvres which made us feel very welcome after a long day of traveling. Our room was good sized and appeared newly furnished and tastefully decorated. Although we did not have time to explore the rest of the facility, we enjoyed a good nights rest in a comfortable bed, and were refreshed and ready to resume our travels the next day. We did not receive as thoughtful a welcome at any other facility during our tour, so it stood out from the others as special, and it was very much appreciated.
We enjoyed a girls family get away prior to the school year beginning and we were happy that the shuttle service was made available to and from the resort so we didn't have to worry about driving or finding parking a most appreciated service!
This is the 2nd time we came here to stay and go to the Silverwood theme park. They offer discounted tickets and a package where you get $150 in dining credit and $75 in buddy bucks for Silverwood. The buddy bucks are to work for everything-even parking at Silverwood, however, not all the employees were aware of it and we sometimes had problems using them. Initially Kristina only gave me $25 in buddy bucks, luckily I had written down how many I should have gotten and when we went to leave for the park I went to ask about the shortage. She said right away, yes, I didn't give you all your money, I realized it right away so I set it aside for you. I thought this was strange since she knew our name and room number, why didn't she call us, or come to our room and give it to us? If I hadn't have remembered would we never have received the extra $50 we were entitled to? In addition, I asked her what hours the park was open, she didn't know, she referred me to the website, which I didn't want to look up on my small phone! They cater to park goers, they should have the hours! I also asked when the kids in Idaho go back to school, she did not know. I wanted to know if the park would be more or less crowded. I really did not think she was helpful. All the other staff were great though and I do like this hotel. In addition, the weather was going to be bad one of the days of our trip and we did not know if we would all go to the park on the 2nd day. We were short 2 tickets and ended up all going, but I realized after we paid $84.50 for 2 -I day passes, we could have purchased one- 2 day pass for $76.00 as they just print out two sheets, good for a month or so. She should have known this and done it that way! We stayed in room 155, it was quiet and I liked that you could have the fan run on low all the time to help block out any noise and you can set the temperature one degree at a time and it was a quiet air conditioner that did not make a lot of noise when it came on.
Only stayed one night in late July '16, centrally located, easy parking & ingress to the building , room was good , beds were great, reception staff excellent, it was very hot when we were there & the AC was in great demand, complimentary breakfast was very good, made the stay great value for money
My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus for one night as we were on a road trip and on our way to our final destination, Seattle. We arrived at the same time as around forty or so bikers on their way to Sturgis for a rally. The guys were great and the hotel reception staff were very efficient and soon had us checked in. Our room was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were at the end of a very long corridor but a rear door, with access controlled by our room key, meant we could move our luggage to the car with ease. We didn't use either the pool or the gym but the bar was excellent and was manned by a lady bar tender who knew exactly how to keep people happy and spending money! She was fun and, I guess, and asset to the hotel. We had a lovely peaceful night's sleep and I would recommend this hotel. I would add there is a gas station right next door which meant I could fuel up quickly ahead of our drive to Seattle.
stayed one night en route to Glacier NP. Comfortable room. Hotel very busy, but no problem getting table in restaurant. Food was unexpectedly excellent and waiter very friendly and efficient. Would recommend.
We had an overnight stay on our way from Seattle to Glacier National Park; the location being convenient to Interstate 90 with easy parking. Clean, spacious, quiet and well equipped room. Decided to eat at the hotel restaurant to avoid a drive into town and had an excellent dinner following recommendations from attentive and knowledgeable staff. Special thanks to Dan.
Very Disappointed with this hotel and it's staff. My daughter re-injured her sprained ankle by two kids swimming without any parent supervision. When I complained to the front desk they did nothing. The gym had broken equipment and the Krups coffee machine didn't work in our room. The halls were loud with drunk people. After eleven pm there was a loud knock on our door from Domino pizza delivery for a pizza we didn't order. Where is the security? This was an expensive room on the side of the freeway.
We had a long day of driving ahead of us when I got sick and we had to make an emergency trip to the ER. My husband checked us into the BWP Coeur d'Alene Inn as it was obvious we would need to stay over. We had stayed there before. Very convenient to I90 and in this case the community hospital (most people won't need that service!). Lovely room with plenty of space to relax. Breakfast not included here as they have an onsite restaurant. My only caution is that they apparently allow pets. Fortunately none was near us, but as I walked down the hall the next day, you could hear an apparently large dog "woofing" repeatedly. That could be a problem.
Beds nice, pillows stiff . Staff great. Breakfast average. ( not replaced well burned bacon yuk ) everything else was ok Nice lounge and tenders. Long stay for one hotel. stayed in 2 room neither air conditioners worked good uncomfortably warm rooms hard to sleep. First time in area don't know what my dollars equate to. But will either pay more to step up or much less for similar accommodations thought we were over charged for a small business group of 16 room nights compared to Anaheim, San Diego. Jury is still out on return and will shop more for or future business stays.
Was in town on business July 26 and 27. Our company policy is to reimburse hotels using GSA per diem rates. With the summer season this was one of the few that offered the rate so I reluctantly booked. I am now glad that I did. The hotel is first rate. I walked down the hallways to my room yesterday afternoon and the hallway was filled with housekeeping staff. As I walked there were people on knees cleaning door thresholds, another on knees in a room dusting base of dresser as I passed, another room furniture was moved to clean beneath. Individuals scrubbing and cleaning everywhere. Rooms itself was nice, small but nicely furnished. Keurig in room. Return to bar has all day (11 am to 6 pm) happy hour. Complimentary hot breakfast with house cooked items. Very nice. Everyone is extremely friendly and speaks to each guest. Very impressive!!!
Stayed 5 nights in July 2016. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They helped in arranging shuttle service and always with a smile. The fruit infused water in the lobby was so refreshing. The shuttle service arrived on time and were great tour guides. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious. The beds were comfortable and the room was tastefully decorated. The cleaning service kept everything clean and stocked. Mulligans had great happy hour specials. The pool was clean and always had clean towels available. The hot tub was clean, however the jets were oddly directed above the water level and unable to be properly adjusted. It was great to have access to the hot tub, pool, and gym at the Couer d'Alene Resort.
We stayed two nights while we toured Coeur d'Alene. Excellent accommodations, very comfortable, superb breakfast buffet provided in room price or you can order off a menu. Bar/grill for happy hour provides excellent prices and great appetizers if one wants to go that route. We will certainly stay here again in the furture.
I was here for a conference. Was impressed as I walked in the lobby to check in. Staff was super nice and helpful. My room was clean and quiet. Everytime I encountered staff they were always friendly. Room had a microwave and fridge. The conference rooms were very nice too. Would highly recommend.
Excellent in all categories. Easy access to I-95 & I-90. Front Desk and Dinning Room Staff very professional, courteous and friendly. Highly recommended. My Reviews are Brief and to the point. Being verbose is a waste of my time.
This is one of those hotels that you could tell someone put some effort into making it special. Extremely clean, extremely comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was incredible - omelets made to order! Really - you just don't find that on the road very often. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when we're driving through northern Idaho.
My husband and I are having our wedding night at the Best Western Plus Inn in CDA in September, and we were looking to upgrade our room, that someone bought us, to the honeymoon suite. Nicolette completely upgraded our room, with no extra charge, and said we would have a wonderful night! She was so helpful and sweet, and totally understood the situation! She's amazing! Thank you again, Nicolette!
The hotel appearef a littke old from the outside. I intended to stay on the best western futher west but they were all full dispite being 11 AM. Unlucky for me it was a Saturday. But i called and took it sight unseen. There was one room left. It took me a moment to relise how much they were asking for the room. The price of 225 popped my eye balls out.It was abig chunk out of mybudget. There was a bicycle race and when I arruved they were mega busy but i was seen to promptly. This hotel is big big scattered all over but they thankfully gave me a room on the girst floor ,very far side quiet ,and a short hop out to unload my bags. What i expect for this amount of money is a "wow-ness" a view, a happy place I'll always remember , a cunningly fixed breakfast with a chef tgat knows how to perfect a crepe. What did i get? Supreme service waitstaff and hotel staff crystalinely polite and professional a room brand newly decorated crisp sheets privacy with a comforting burrow like feel. was it worth it.? stay here and you decide!!
This BW is centrally located off I-90, Rt. 95 (goes to Boise) and downtown and lots to do. The BW is up to date, has nice amenities (pool, hot tub, laundry, etc.) and a very friendly and attentive staff. We stayed two nights to explore CDA, ride the Hiawatha Trail and enjoy the area.
Nice hotel to stay in. Very clean and staff was very friendly. They are also pet friendly which was perfect for us and the charge per night was reasonable. We did not have any issues really. The only thing is the cable options was not very good. They offered showtime and it didn't even come through, the channel was just static.
Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Staff was always checking to make sure that the containers were filled. Great variety. Comfy beds and oodles of pillows. Very sound proof. Great location. Only fault was having to call for dry towels at the pool. Took a while to have them replenished as well. Only negative thing I can think of. Wonderful time.
We had a great stay at the hotel; room was large, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and my husband and I enjoyed a nice breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold items.
My family and I found this Best Western to be as clean and friendly as Silverwood water/amusement park. From the full breakfast to get us going to the end of the day swim for the kids, this BW has it going on! We purchased the Silverwood package, two passes to the park, twenty-five dollars in Silverwood bucks and fifty dollars towards the BW restaurant, per each day. Yes we could've found a less expensive deal but this was beyond convenient and surpassed our expectations for lodging. We'd do it again!
Clean and modern. A bit noisy due to its busy location but top marks none the less. Good location and well appointed. Didn't try the breakfast but it smelled good. Very busy when I checked in but staff was working very hard to please everyone.
We were traveling with our dog so needed a pet-friendly hotel. They even provide a dog dish in the room. Comfortable and clean, bathroom very small. Pet area was convenient but but very small. Restaurant was surprisingly great, we had the crab and shrimp cakes and Idaho trout, one of our best meals on the trip. They did not know how to serve a bottle of white wine however, no wine cooler. And the wine we ordered wasn't on the list. Very pricey, but it's a resort town. Overall a very good but not great experience.
Very nice hotel, great staff, exceptional breakfast and wonderful restaurant. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help us. Certainly, went the extra mile, even when they were very busy. Check in and out went very smoothly.
We were so pleased with our stay. Every single staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. The place was exceedingly clean and comfortable. We slept soundly and enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning.
We arrived early but our room was ready for us so we were able to check in and have lunch in the hotel's sports bar. The waitress was friendly and helpful and the food was fine -basic bar food at a reasonable price. We took advantage of the hotel's complimentary shuttle bus which took us into the resort centre - a very pleasant and unexpected extra. Our room was clean and well-equipped and the beds were comfy. We had dinner in the restaurant. We thought the menu choices were good. I had baked chicken penne pasta and my husband had the baby BBQ ribs. Both were tasty. The buffet breakfast was fine - nothing fancy, but fine. We'd stay there again if we visit Coeur d'Alene in the future
After the good reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to stay here for 1 night. We had 2 small dogs with us and thought the pet fee was high for a Best Western. We stayed in a Best Western the night before and was not charged a pet fee. La Quinta does not charge for dogs and neither does Kimpton hotels. The La Quinta is down the street and we'll stay there next time since they don't charge a dog fee. On another note, we waited 30 minutes at least to check in. There were only 2 people working the front desk and even though we saw other employees, no one came to help. It was a similar experience at check out.
We were excited to stay at this particular Best Western when we first pulled in as it was new and upscale. The room was clean and staff very helpful until it came to breakfast in the morning. We went to the area where breakfast was to be served then became very uncomfortable. There was no sign showing where the breakfast was nor did anyone inquire as to our needs as the breakfast area was located inside a restaurant. We inquired as to what we were to do and informed to sit where ever we wanted. We did this for sometime then began to ask servers what to do until one of them finally stopped. It was very unorganized.
The hotel was very accommodating, the staff was great, took care of our every need. We were there for a conference. The bartender was great she made us feel welcome. Next time we are in Coeur d'Alene we will stay at this hotel again.
We come for the dog show once to twice a year. This is our preferred hotel. Always dog friendly, a wonderful staff, comfortable beds and rooms (working air conditioning), great restaurant, and easy location. We are pleased to say that the quality is consistent from year to year.
everything was well organized and staff were helpful. All immenities were super. Breakfast was a delight and lots of variety. Internet worked very well. Pool area was clean. Hot tub was a bit on the hot side. Very nice place to stay.
Came with my husband for a conference. While he was in meetings, I enjoyed the pool, Sun deck & exercise room. Milligan.s bar has great bar specials. Rooms are lovely. Comes with a wonderful breakfast. The staff couldn't.t be more helpful. Manager is rulemaking sure every t thing is in tip top shape. I would say this Best Western is my favorite property.
This hotel gives you everything you could want from a luxury hotel for a third of the cost. My kids and I stayed here on our way to Seattle. The staff was amazing...kudos to the training department! The bar on site was a nice touch after traveling all day. The hotel was beautiful and well decorated. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. My kids really enjoyed the pool area, they had it all to themselves for an hour. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast items at the free breakfast. I look forward to staying again when passing through!
Renovated in 2014. They did a lovely job. Love the lounge, conference area is beautiful. Came with my husband for a conference & enjoying the pool & sun deck. Includes a wonderful breakfast. You never can go wrong with BW.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene for two nights 5/28-5/30, 2016 in a double queen room. Actually, two different double queen rooms - our first night, we were put in an ADA room and the second night the staff moved us across the hall to a regular room since they had a guest that required the ADA room. The rooms were clean and the furniture and linens clean and well maintained. The room had all the amenities you'd expect - large, flat screen TV with cable, microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge. Lots of closet/drawer space. The beds were comfortable and although the pillows were those small soft ones, there were plenty on the bed to accommodate my odd sleeping positions. The pool was nice, clean and warm. You have to walk outside through a covered walkway to get to the pool area, which was slightly chilly since it was so windy, but it's not far. We ate in the hotel restaurant 3 times, once for dinner and twice for the breakfast buffet. Dinner was good, if even a bit pricey. The service was slow, but our waiter explained that the restaurant had a party of 30 people descend upon them without much notice, so he apologized and gave us free salad bar. The food was very good. The breakfast buffet was ok. Standard "free hot breakfast" hotel fare - eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage, pastries, cereal, yogurt and fruit. I was a little disappointed that the fruit selection was limited (red apples and bananas) and there wasn't any juice available at the buffet (you had to order that through the server). But it's what I would expect from a hotel buffet. The location is great. Downtown CDA is only 5-10 mins away and there are a lot of food options close to the hotel (fast food & chain restaurants). Overall, we had a nice stay here and would return if in the area again.
Great stay. Conveniently located and comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. The staff is incredible. Everyone we came in contact with was kind and genuinely seemed to want to work there! Great breakfast for guests- better than any other hotel complimentary breakfast. Refrigerator in room was very helpful as well. We will be back!!
We loved our stay. The room was comfortable and modern. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and restaurant-level. From the receptionist to the cleaning crew, we received only the most friendly and professional service. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
Had a very nice stay and dogs are welcome. Staff was very friendly and had such a great time that I extended my stay two nights! Hotel very nice and clean and the best very comfy. Such a nice friendly town that has everything and centrally located that it's a good center point to venture out and travel.
Looked at the pictures when we booked. Looked great. Picture of the lake, a golf course, big jacuzzi tubs. Wrong...Your on the interstate. Highway on one side fast food joints on the other. Stayed on a weekend and had a high school band above us. They were either practicing marching all night or breakdancing. Had to both go up stairs and talk to the "chaperone" along with calling up front. Luckily the AC is loud and somewhat drowned things out. The breakfast buffet would be good if they kept it stocked. Running out of bacon is one thing, but no forks for a half hour's another. We'll go back to Springhill Suites next time.
Very welcoming and helpful staff. The property is somewhat new and very nice, No dated and dingy hotel furniture, pictures, etc. Clean room, comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet with helpful staff. Smoothest operation I've seen for awhile. Good food, not overcooked.
The staff was really nice and professional, very good service!! I recommend it. The rooms and installation were in very good condition. The breakfeast was jummy... If you go there you can for sure considered this hotel as an option.
We had a great experience at this hotel good rooms, good service and great breakfast. Found it a bit high in price compared to similar hotels, and found a lot of noise transference from hall ways and neighboring rooms. We would certainly stay here again.
This was our second stay at a BW Plus. This hotel.even had a lounge which is a rarity with BW hotels. The breakfast was fantastic. It was a buffet with all of the good stuff. The parking area was covered which was a plus. The only downside was that the floor in our room was not leaned very well. There was very obvious debris on it. Overall it was a great stay. We always stay at BW and this was one of the best.
Clean rooms, fast internet, great location. Passing through town on the way to Squaw Valley, found hotel on internet, had great reviews. Decided to try it and was not disappointed. I recommend this hotel for short stays.
Great place. This is our last stop on our trip from coast to coast. We needed a pet friendly place and this BW had a vacancy despite all the convention attendees. Check in was quick and smooth with very friendly staff. Our room was exceptional - clean, well maintained. Each room has a microwave and fridge, flat screen TV and our room had a sliding door onto the pool courtyard. We had dinner in Muldoon's Sports Bar. It was very good. It's conveniently right off I-90. Highly recommended.
Such a lovely hotel!! Beautiful rooms, amazing grounds and a heated pool with spa. Can't say enough good things about this place. Quiet clean and gorgeous. Should be a five star. Free breakfast and a great location. Love this place
I stayed here for a conference. The property has recently gone through an upgrade and it shows. The mattress had not even the subtle sags you see when they are well used, and was very comfortable. And I love the new electronic touch locks. So much easier to use. The room was very quiet; not only could the traffic outside not be heard, I only heard my neighbor once. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is one of the nicest and most extensive I've run across. I would recommend this property.
This motel has easy access to freeway, shopping and restaurants. The staff is very helpful, rooms tastefully decorated and beds very comfortable. Windows were able to be opened so that fresh air is available. Newspapers are delivered to your room each morning, and it was pleasant to have a restaurant available for breakfast and dinners.
Don't spend the big money this full service hotel is a partner with the Coeur d' Alene Resort. Stay and play at an affordable price. The breakfast is hearty and even includes gluten free options upon request.
My experience here was coloured by the problems I had with our booking. We were given an online rate by booking.com and expected that to be it. Sadly upon arrival we were advised that this was not correct correct and charged an extra 25 dollars for our room. The receptionist was not at all helpful in the matter. Luckily, booking.com refunded the money to us, but I fear that some hotels may do this as a matter of course. What could have been a very pleasant evening was spoiled by this experience.
This hotel is very easy to find being in a central location. Staff are super friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast area is large with a complimentary hot breakfast. The restaurant food was surprisingly good and it was nice to be able to go to the lounge/bar for a drink after a long day of shopping!
Our state coroner association held our spring conference at the hotel and were pleased with the service and friendliness of all at the hospital. The room was great and the bed the most comfortable I have ever slept in in a hotel. The staff was great and checkout was a breeze. The conference facilties were great and we had zero problems. Thanks
We stopped in for a quick one-night stay on our way across the country. We were very impressed with the quality of this hotel, especially for the price paid. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. From the outside it appeared to be older and likely a little dated. Inside it is very nice and updated. The hotel is pretty large inside. the restaurant on property was great and the included breakfast in the morning was really above average. We enjoyed our short stay here very much! If we visited the area again I am sure that we would consider this hotel.
Very attractive Hotel - nice large breakfast area. Sports bar type lounge without going over the top. Complimentary breakfast had many choices which is very important to us. The workout area was exactly what I needed for a quick 30-45 minute workout. Although we didn't use the pool it was used by many guests.
Nice hotel...would definitely recommend! Our king room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Indoor heated pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was typical of Best Westerns with eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, French toast, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. lounge was nice...enjoyed dinner and live music (Fridays and Saturdays from 6p to 8p). Staff was friendly.
This is our fourth time staying at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it had received a "face lift." The décor was new and the front lobby had been remodeled. We had a wonderful time.
breakfast and service are pretty good. Too expensive comparing with other Inns. Generally it is a recreation city, not a lot of fun for young people. I will suggest to stay at Spokane at a relative cheaper price if you just passing through.
This was our second time at this hotel. Great location for easy access to the highways whether going North to Canada or West to Seattle. King room provides all the room we need including a microwave and mini fridge. I personally find the bed at this location a little firmer then I prefer but the hubby has no complaints. Bathroom is big enough for 2 adults to be in at the same time. Free breakfast is better than average but everything sits in warming trays including the waffles. I prefer to make mine fresh so I just had fruit and yoghurt. My husband likes the works. Bacon, scrambled eggs. The pool area is larger then the BW Liberty Lake location which seems to be very popular with families. This is our regular stop when we head home to Canada so we can do a little shopping. We will most likely be back.
We just stayed at the Best Western and could not have been more pleased with the overall experience. We will stay there again next time we are in town. Great staff, clean and comfy beds! Food in both the restaurant and the Bar were excellent!
We were very pleased with this hotel. It was extremely busy at the time we checked in but everything went fast. Our room was clean and our bed was very comfortable. The hotel is quite large and was very busy the night of our stay, but that had no effect on check in. We were in to our room quickly. The breakfast in the morning was very good with many offerings. The area around the hotel has many fast food restaurants should you elect not to eat at the hotel. Easy access off I-90
This Best Western Plus wasn't my first choice when looking for accommodations in Coeur d'Alene, but it probably will be next time I visit the area. Its "Plus" status is well deserved - the recent renovations make it feel much more like a modern, mid-range chain (think Hampton or Hilton Garden) than a Best Western. The amenities are excellent. It's located at the junction of US 95 and I-90 and close to plenty of dining options. Best of all, the rates were at least $30 per night lower than comparable properties in the area. Parking is a bit scarce and they appear to cater to teams (specifically, volleyball the weekend of my stay) so those might present issues.
My husband and I stayed here 3/29/2016. The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The pet fee was reasonable at $20 (we were traveling with one dog) and the room was a nice one, not one of the pet-designated rooms you get at some motels/hotels. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was one of the best complimentary breakfasts we've ever had, with fresh eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage, cereal options, etc. The front desk even provided a dog toy and treats when we checked in.
Our stay at the Best Western in Coeur d Alene, Idaho was excellent as usual. Whether staying for business or pleasure it is always a pleasant experience. It was our 28th wedding anniversary and we celebrated by attending the Blues Fest at the Coeur d Alene Resort.Thank you for a nice stay and a great breakfast!
Very nicely remodeled with a great restaurant and bar! Good sized rooms, nice indoor pool and gym. The staff are very nice and helpful. This hotel is owned by the same people that own the resort down town at a fraction of the cost.
The Best Western, conveniently located off of I-90 is a top class hotel as far as the Best Westerns go. The room was spacious, well furnished, clean and comfortable. I did not have the breakfast as I needed to leave early but I was able to take items with me that were already set out. Very nice. There is a restaurant on site and the hotel is convenient to several sit-down restaurants close by.
Everything was great. Good customer relations. Very attentive to concerns. If I had wanted to write at length. I would have Attended Newspaper School. The counter seems to be wrong. A person should be allowed to have a short response if that is want they want to express.
Found this hotel via Trip Advisor, late in the evening on our drive back to Montana. Although getting there was tricky via gps, there isn't a direct turn off the highway. They had a queen room available for us and our pooch. Hotel and room decor was a nice surprise, modern and up-to-date. The front desk was quite small and I almost walked by it to find a larger central area for check-in. The restaurant and bar are adjacent to the front desk and it was busy, so that caused part of my confusion. The front desk gal was on her way from the desk when I entered. She stopped what she was going to do to accomodate me, which was thoughtful and helpful. They even provide a pet gift bag too. The room was small, but met our needs well. We ordered our dinner from the restaurant and my husband went to retrieve it, delicious! The breakfast offering was okay. Great to have dining available on site, that's a plus. Friendly staff, great lodging. We'll be back.
We haven't stayed at a BW in years but will going forward . This place hit all the markers . Nice big room , pleasant decor . Free wifi . GREAT free breakfast . A little lax when we checked in as only one girl on and it was busy . Location is central ( though just about everything is here ) . Good price ( 117 through Priceline ) .
The staff, from front desk, to housekeeping, to bar, to restaurant are incredibly welcoming, friendly and asking how they can make your stay better. Nice public area with fireplaces. The front desk staff has wowed me with their energetic willingness to really help me out of a bind today: I booked a hotel room for 6 nights but found I only needed the first night. Because I had booked through Getaroom (I advise you stay away from them and book direct), I had to ask Getaroom for the refund and found them extremely, extremely difficult and back-pedaling in their interactions. Nicolette and Joelle provided above and beyond customer service, calling both Tourico (the other 3rd party vendor involved) and Getaroom to clarify that both Best Western and Tourico are fine with refunding my payment. Customer service. It's what gives or takes away your customers. I will not likely return to Getaroom, and the next time I stay with the good folks at Best Western Coeur d'Alene, I will book directly. (I learned from them that they can frequently match whatever other price you find online, and save you the third party headache.
it was a beautiful hotel, clean, great service. All of it was nice and an excellent rate. I would recommend this for sure. if in the area again we will stay here . really good breakfast. thumbs up thank you
The only complaints we had was that the breakfast food was not quite hot enough and I was unable to book our next reservation on my Kindle. We had to go down to the lobby area and use their computers. I forgot to mention that my husband pointed out to the clerk that one of the office chairs in the computer area had a back that wanted to go too far back. Time to replace it. We will stay here again.
This is a really nice hotel. My room was very clean and modern, and they put me on the ground floor which was a big convenience. The hot tub and fitness center are excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. They are pet-friendly and were very welcoming to my pets.I thought the breakfast buffet was fantastic-- lot of tasty choices. I'd definitely stay here again.
My family (wife, 2 kids, and a dog) just stayed here for a long weekend. The room was clean and looks to have been recently updated. The beds and pillows were comfy. The front lobby and restaurant looked very nice. My kids loved the pool. It is in a glass room but it is super warm and the water is like a bath tub. We spent a lot of time in there. The exercise room was also in really good shape. I would be happy to come back here.
We stayed here for a confrence & were very impressed with the comfort of our king size bed & room. The only thing I would change is the shower head was very small & didn't really point any place but down. Other than that we enjoyed our room. The free breakfast was good & the staff with very helpful & friendly. I would stay here again. Oh & I loved whatever brand of air conditioner they used. It was nice & quiet & cooled the room appropriately.
This hotel has the riendliest staff, from the most polite young man who thoroughly cleaned the room, to the front desk employees. This hotel is centrally located so it is only a short drive to many wonderful restaurants and shopping. The breakfast is probably one of the best I have had at any of the standard hotel buffets. You can ask for toast and a few other items for no charge, even though they aren't out. We used the indoor pool and hot tub daily.
Staff was excellent! You could tell they enjoyed their jobs and were very accommodating. Room was very nice, food was delicious and the pool and exercise areas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this property to other family and friends!
We had a lovely room with very sweet people who work here for our Valentine's weekend. Well worth the money and very easy to find and very easy to get out to see Coeur d'Alene sites, restaurants, shopping. It was rainy all weekend and we still had a wonderful time in the 'big' city!
If you are looking to stay near Triple Play but not stay there, this is the place to stay with the kids! The Best Western Plus of Coeur d' Alene surpassed all of our expectations! You would never know you are right next to I 90. The rooms are soooooo quiet!!!! They are extremely clean. We were going to stay at Triple Play and decided it was sensory overload to be surrounded 24/7 by the insanity. This Best Western Plus is 4 miles away straight up the highway and was a better idea. Heated, indoor pool, really large free, hot breakfast, on site, in the hotel, restaurant with reasonable prices and good food, including room service to the room or the pool! Very clean! Our room had a sliding glass door, about 6 steps from the pool room too. I highly recommend this hotel for families with kids!
We met with family to help celebrate an anniversary. The staff was outstanding. They worked hard to make our stay wonderful. Our meal was above and beyond perfect. Thank you to everyone for making our weekend an awesome memory
Just a very good hotel with great amenities- like breakfast and heated pool. Also, great lounge, and an extended happy hour. What else is there to say? And why do I have to have a minimum of 200 words anyway? It is just crazy. i have better things to do. dumb rule, change it!!
This was the first time we had traveled to Coeur d'Alene. Lovely city. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and the room was very nice and quiet. Not much on a view but the beds and comfort made up for that. The breakfast service and lounge was wonderful. Enjoyed the live music in the lounge. Loved the hot tub and pool. Not to far from downtown, but not really in walking distance. They do off shuttle service in the summer.
When traveling home from Keizer, Oregon it was getting dark nod I wanted to find a nice place to spend the night. Saw the Best Western from Interstate 90 and decided to stop. The clerk at the desk made it very easy to check in. The room was wonderful and extremely comfortable. For me the best was they had a restaurant, this way I didn't have to drive around a look for a place to eat. The staff here was just wonderful.
Had the Best Birthday weekend!! First we checked into the Inn, Amy the concierge was very friendly and helpful. Very easy and quick checkin. We went to our room and the room was perfect!! Clean and very comfortable, the bed was more comfortable than the one we sleep in at home. Went to Mulligans Restaurant for a very tasty shrimp dinner (at the Inn). The Food was spectacular! Then it was off to "Comedy Night" all in the same building. The next morning we had a breakfast buffet, all the food was very tasty. We will stay at the Best Western Plus Inn again soon!!!
Forget looking elsewhere for your lodging needs in Cd'A. This is the place you want to stay. The entire property is in fantastic condition, including a great restaurant and lounge. My family and I spent the Christmas holidays in town, and were made to feel right at home by courteous employees at every turn. If you want first class quality at great value, book your stay now. You won't regret it.
This is a very nice Best Western It was exceptionally clean. Had quality linens and comfortable beds. The breakfast was buffet style in their restaurant. During our stay breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, yogurt, danish, muffins, delicious bacon, and depending on the day either french toast, waffles or french toast sticks. I think there were a few other options too. The hot tub and pool were spacious and clean. I fully intend on staying here again.
Recently stayed at the Inn-hosted a large dinner party. Service &Food was wonderful. We stayed at Inn , enjoyed a very clean pool area and comfortable quite room. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet.m
The staff and amenities of this hotel make it very appealing to me. The hotel is located right at the intersection of I-90 and 95 in CDA, which makes it very accessible and easy to get places. If you are in the area, be sure to try the Local Deli and get a cupcake! Delicious! My favorite reason to stay at the hotel? My dog loves it. I travel for work, but I bring my dog with me in the winter when he won't bake in the car. This is hands down his favorite hotel to stay at. The staff has always been super dog friendly, the pet fee is very reasonable, and they always give him a welcome package with a squeaky toy and a few treats. I do wish there was a better place to walk him around the hotel, but he doesn't mind going a few miles up the road to the Central Bark Dog Park. All around, one of our favorite hotels to stay at!
Was a very enjoyable stay, Clean Quiet comfortable Pool and exercise area beautiful. Breakfast was a very good variety for everyone's appetite. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this Location to everyone I know! Definitely and great pick and good price also!
We spent our first night of a 30 day road trip here, and it was great. We had dinner in the lounge, which was very convenient. Although it's right beside the highway, it wasn't noisy at all. Our room was clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay again.
Everything about this BW was nice. Its is a lot bigger than it looks from the highway. Inside it is very quiet and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub. There was a very nice fitness room we just didn't have time to enjoy. For the price a very good value. The staff was super nice and the breakfast met the standard we expect from Best Western,
it wasnt the best that is for sure, there were several kids there for a basketball tournament and the were screaming and hollering all night and bouncing their basketballs, while that is not the hotels fault to an extent, i did have other issues like dirty water glasses in my room and it not being very clean, it needed to be vacuumed and probably some Febreeze spray, it smelled! it was not worth the price that is for sure! take out the basketball team and i suppose it wasn't horrible, i mean we would stay there again as it was a very pretty place and the restaurant there had great food (for dinner but breakfast sucked, potatoes were dried out, biscuits were hard, eggs were WAY to runny and the bacon was over cooked and greasy!) dinner was great!
We were treated very well by all staff members we came in contact with. Our check-in (early) was handled efficiently and actually we were upgraded! The lounge staff were informative in planning the best sites for our short stay. We will be back.
This was our second stay at this amazing hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and made to feel welcomed by the front desk personnel, including our dear friend from the last trip, Brandi. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. Everyone smiles and says hello or good morning. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff made sure that we had everything that we needed. The restaurant has fantastic food and excellent service. The complimentary morning breakfast buffet is amazing and a wonderful value. The sports bar was a perfect place to enjoy the game and a cocktail next to the fireplace. The bartenders were awesome. Our every need was taken care of with smiles. They booked an eagle watching cruise for us and gave us suggestions on places to visit. I just can't say enough about what a perfect place this is to stay while visiting this charming town. We had snow every day that we were there which made the hotel grounds look like a winter wonderland. Inside and out were decked out for the holiday season. This was the first time that my son and I had a white Christmas and this was such a perfect place to experience that. We will be back, perhaps next time during the summer months and the Best Western Coeur d'Alene Inn will be our choice of hotels again! Thank you to each and every staff member for making this such a memorable trip for us. Happy New Year!
This Best Western is perfect for everyone. We stayed here four nights this trip over Christmas and it was great. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the lounge and lobby as well as the great fitness room, indoor pool and spa. The Christmas decorations were very well done. It was nice to be able to walk around the entire warm hotel and view the cold snow outside. This hotel is very conveniently located near shopping of all kinds and the freeway. We have stayed here in the past and will be back again as we visit our grandchildren.
Very good facilities, specially for business. Friendly staff. Need to improve speed at Front desk. Breakfast was ok: needs more variety. Very clean. Nice swimming pool and whirlpool. I did not use the fitness room. A bit noisy, due to the amount of kids and guests. All staff was helpful with pet.
Meets my expectations for a affordable and clean accommodation. We had a power outage at home and the hotel was willing to take us in and reduced the rate do to our predicament. They could not been any nicer.
Had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus in Coeur d' Alene, I daho. Ate at Mulligan's for dinner and it was fantastic. The free breakfast the next day was good too. Nice and friendly staff. Immaculate hotel upkeep and room cleanliness. It is by far the nicest motel in Idaho!
This was one of the best Motels we have stayed at. Room was great, but really enjoyed the pool- water temp was the nicest ever. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was an excellent surprise. We got very nice deal on a Winter Cruise special they were offering. Our only problem was a door issue in our room- the bathroom door would lock and could of locked someone in.
Very comfortable bed an attractive room. Really like restaurant in hotel after a long day on the road. Nice not to have to find an outside place to eat. Restaurant fare is nothing special but decent selection and restaurant staff is very friendly. All in all, a great place to stay
Even with that it is just off the interstate in the heart of many services and restaurants shouldn't scare you with this hotel. It is a busy one but the staff maintains and cleans it very well. And it is very quiet
This facility was right off Interstate 90 in Coeur d'Alene and convenient. The room was well appointed, roomy, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A bar and restaurant were on site and the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. There was a wide variety of choices available and staff were readily available to help and bus your table. There were actual plates and cutlery to eat with as I don't really enjoy the paper or Styrofoam with plastic cutlery that is normally provided. Would definitely stay here again.
This was a real surprise for my trip. Decked out for Christmas and even had minstrels in the lobby. Staff was upbeat and helpful doing all they could. Food was great. Will always stay here when in the area.
We have stayed here before and the hotel and staff a great! Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location and even though close to the Freeway it is quiet inside. Everything went smoothly!
I stayed with my son and a cat for a week while preparing for a cross-country move. The hotel is very clean, very convenient and reasonably priced. The free breakfast was a pleasant surprise, as it was more than just stale danish. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. While we were there, there was a major power outage in the area so the place became very crowded. The staff remained responsive and professional during the unexpectedly busy time. Highly recommended.
This is an old Holiday Inn that has been refurbished. Stayed here for my honeymoon in 1980. Rooms were the usual "old school" hotel room, refurbished with new carpet, tile in bathroom. Water pressure in tub shower sucked...little or no pressure. Reservations were not on file when we arrived...they made it right however, gave us an additional 10% off of the AAA rate. Middle aged front desk clerk very kind and helpful unlike the young girl that I made our reservations with a week before who apparently didn't enter the reservation in the computer. We would stay here again...as the fall price we received was good, hotel nice for price. Didn't eat here even though the breakfast was included. Would recommend as a place to stay in CDA. Warning, this is a "pet friendly" hotel...if you have allergies ask for a 2nd floor room as the try it keep pets on 1st floor . I was a bit stuffed up while there still.
Congenial clean remodeled and comfortable. Nice indoor pool. Although it smelled of the chlorine as one would expect. Stayed here while looking fir property in area in September enjoyed the included breakfast great price 125.00 a night double occupancy. Would come again convenient parking lots of secured parking lot entrances close to ones room.
I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were quiet, clean and well kept up. The heater/fan was one of the best in a hotel room. It actually worked well! Room was clean, bathroom sanitized and clean. Beds were firm but comfortable. I really enjoyed an excellent breakfast buffet. Well worth the money and experience. Thank you
The room was spacious and well decorated. The complimentary breakfast was a very nice buffet. The best part was a beautiful and very clean pool, hot tub and workout area. This was a very nice experience for couples and families in a most convenient area of the city
Was familiar with this property years ago, but the updating blew me away. Very good experience and would stay again in a heartbeat. Staff was great, free breakfast was great and the room and bed were exceptional.
Price was not very good considering I know other people staying there the same night were there for the same reason I was and their cost was tremendously less than mine. I was told I would get a roll-away three different times and I never got it.
I really would rate this hotel 4.5 if I could. We booked the Scarywood package for this overnight trip. I was most impressed with the special touches of the room...a gift bag of candy with handwritten note welcoming us and the sanitized tv remote (hadn't seen that before). The boy's devoured the candy! I also liked the complimentary Sunday paper. The hotel is conveniently located to the freeway. The room was very clean and included a microwave, a small fridge, Free WiFi and large TV. The hotel also featured a restaurant and bar. The bar was busy with lot's of people enjoying themselves and looked like a nice place to watch sports games...alas I was supervising a group of teen boys for the night and could not partake. I noted the bar did have live music on Saturday nights. The hotel also has a pool (a must for families with younger kids), but my guys opted out. The hotel featured a complimentary morning breakfast in the restaurant area. The breakfast actually had fresh cut bowls of cantaloupe and honeydew melon which I have not seen at other places on par with this hotel chain. The breakfast also featured both hot (scrambled eggs, biscuits/gravy, bacon, and sausage) and cold items (cereal, pastries). I noted the room had nice seating options. We came at a busy time on Saturday and there was a bit of a line for check in, but the staff person who helped us was very nice. My only recommendation to the hotel is to have the breakfast time extended to 10 or later on Sundays for the October Scarywood weekends. It was difficult to "raise the dead" after getting back to the hotel at 2am from the park and trying to wake up for a 6-9 am breakfast. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay and we did enjoy the special touch! I do recommend this hotel for families looking for a hotel at a reasonable price with complimentary breakfast, and some extra room conveniences.
My husband and I recently attended a weekend conference. We opted to stay at the Best Western as the prices of the hotel where the event was being held were outrageous. The price was reasonable, accomodations were ready when we arrived. They had all the features of a large hotel, but were nicer. Everything was very neat and clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast that was included as there was lots of seating with more of a restaurant feel with booths and tables. We will definitely stay here again.
very relaxing, swam, went to go in hot tub but it was broke, pool was fun and had music. bed very comfy, they moved us up to the court side room -because we were a honored and respectable customers. :) thanks hotel personal- keep up the great work
Great stay at hotel. Everything far exceeded other Best Western hotels. I stayed because my husband had to stay in hospital overnight. Great location to hospital. Staff went out of their way and was very friendly no matter where I was in the hotel. Breakfast was great and so convenient to be available in the hotel. Would highly recommend staying here and I would stay again.
Convenient location to town and freeway, great breakfast choices at the buffet, and pool, hot tub and weight room pretty good for a hotel. Rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet compared to comparable hotels. I stay there every time I am in town.
Very nice place. They also offer a very nice breakfast brunch in the morning for the guests. The rooms were great. Nice bathrooms with a marble counter. Sterilized remote control which I have never seen before but have to say I was very pleased about.
The day we arrived was the day after they had the pool deck resurfaced and the fumes were so toxic you could hardly breathe. Didn't help that the phones didn't work either so no way to contact the front desk regarding internet connection problems. Service was good and beds were clean so...the only better alternative if you stayed downtown was the crowne plaza. They don't have a pool which we wanted- the whole reason we had booked here ??
I stayed here on my way home from Seattle. Staff was friendly, and quickly located me a room. The room was spotless, and nicely warmed up. When I woke up, a newspaper and my room bill had been shoved under my door, which I found a bit creepy. This place had a typical, tasteless hot breakfast, that I ended up throwing away. A nice place to stay, but plan on breakfast someplace else.
We stayed here for 1 night while going to Scarywood (Silverwood during Oct.). The staff was friendly the room was clean and quiet. The best part was the free breakfast which had everything you could want. We showed up before check-in and had no problem getting into our room.
The employee are very nice. Breakfast is good. Our family had been living in the Best Western Executive in Seattle center. I would say the Best Western PLUS in CDA is much better than the one we lived in Seattle.
Great hotel, nice rooms and the staff is great! The Free morning breakfast is a buffet with all sorts of warm your heart items. The food in the grill is great, I we were going to go out to a nice restarunt but after a meal there, we decided to spend the evening within the hotel. They have a free shuttle to the resort which was great. Looking for popcorn for the evening they went out of their way to find me a bag. Talk about service. I have stayed at hotels near this one for $20 less a night this definately was worth the extra.
This Best Western Plus has both a restaurant and a sports bar in the hotel. I was able to watch Monday night football in the sports bar and order my dinner served there too. Wish all of the Best Western Plus had this option
Even though we arrived before check-in time, we were checked in and had all our room requirements met. We always want to be on the top floor, away from the elevator, and other noise, and not have a door to an adjoining room. This property was exceptionally well-maintained considering that it was not "new" but was kept in almost new condition. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and are planning a return visit to the area to see the sights. The desk attendant gave us precise directions to a food store. The beds were comfortable and we are impressed with the B W Plus brand and amenities.
The hotel rooms are clean and decent size, the pool isn't very attractive. You are a walking distance from the shopping strip but can't walk to the old town and lake from here. There is a bar in the lower level that is cheap and decent, you have a microwave and fridge in the rooms and free wifi.
The Best Western was above average for the chain, which we used for much of our three-week trip. Convenient to highways 190 and 95, it's still far enough away that there's no noise. The room was clean and spacious with enough room in the bathroom for our toiletries (why is this lacking in so many accommodations???) The heated pool and jacuzzi were most welcome after a long day of driving. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Dinner in Mulligan's Restaurant was mixed, but the convenience was welcome.
Excelent accomodations. Handicapped room, adjacent to elevator on 2nd floor. Very quiet. Onsite resturant for breakfast, excelent, utilized real glass dishes and silverware. Food hot, good selection. Efficient service staff.
Exceeded expectations. I stayed here for a wedding at a discounted price ($89/night). American style continental breakfast, coffee to go in the lobby, early house-keeping, recent remodeling, all in all great value!
the hotel was very nice and clean, we had a pool side room, pool and hot were bigger than most hotels the pool temperature was perfect. the exercise room was well equiped. staff was friendly coeur d'Alene is a beautiful area
Everyone was very courteous and provided outstanding service. It was nice to have touch pad for the room key. The restaurant had great service and excellent food. Normally, we would have gone into Spokane to stay but decided to try this Best Western. From now on, we'll be using this Best Western when we pass through.
Very nice experience. Friendly desk staff greeted us, very nice room, great wifi, and swimming pool. They have an excellent restaurant/bar on the premises with great food and service. Can't think of one complaint! If we're ever in CDA again, we'll definitely return here.
