Room was clean, comfortable, staff very friendly, breakfast AMAZING! Location is right off the interstate, lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Asked for a local place to have lunch and it was so good, City Cafe. Would definitely stay at this location again!
Bed was very comfortable. Roach in room. Hot breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and different choice of meat each day. Had pancake and waffle iron. Kitchen staff very kind and attentive. Front deck staff at check out acted put out when asking for a receipt. Pool not open. Pool very small. Suite is nice having door between living room and bedroom. Coffee maker in room not working. Next door to venue we were going to for a party.
This hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and nice. Easy to find, right off the interstate. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Breakfast was very good. Very nice hotel and very affordable. We didn't use the pool, but it looked to be clean.
I originally had reservations at the IHG hotel next door but later switched to the BW+ after the IHG wouldn't allow all 3 of the dogs in the suite (1 dog was a service dog, the other 2 were there for an AKC show). BW+ allowed the dogs and accommodated us in a King suite with separate bedroom. The hotel staff was exceptionally dog friendly, greeting us with treats each morning. The breakfast was the best I've encountered at a hotel in 12 years of traveling for shows. Every day had eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage or bacon, waffles and pancakes with toppings (choc chip, honey, etc), bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and the juice wasn't watered down (looking at you LQ). The breakfast bar is replenished quickly and whether you eat at 6:30 or 9:30 the food is fresh and hot. Their is also a coffee machine that offers cappuccino, latte, cocoa and other options. The bed was comfortable and the a/c system has digital wall control. There is plenty of green space for your pets with bags provided. The hotel grounds were kept very clean as was the indoor area. There's an outdoor pool, however it was closed during our visit. This was my first stay at a BW+ as I'm usually at a LQ, Residence or Candlewood suites, but I will definitely be looking at other BW+ as the price point was significantly lower but the service and rooms were equal. Hopefully, other BW+ are as good as this one
The pillows are the worst Ive ever used and the bed was very uncomfortable. The a/c was terribly noisy. To the point that I finally shut it off. I woke up 3 hours later and it was 79 degrees in the room. If I hadn't been so tired from driving all day I would've asked for a different room. To top it all off, when we decided to leave at 5:30 am, the elevator wasn't working. The staff told me that the elevator periodically quits working. I'll never stay there again!
Great bedding. Extremely comfortable room. Fantastic wilderness pictures on the walls. The hotel has been remodeled in the last few years and is really impressive. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will stay again when I travel the same route for business
Stayed at this location for almost 2 weeks with my wife on a business trip. The staff, especially Monica, Marilyn and John were outstanding, and made us feel like we were at home! The hotel was very clean and in a location that made it convenient to traveling to any place in the city.
We have stayed at this location before. It was just as clean, quiet, and relaxing as before. I enjoyed sitting by the pool. Our room was very clean, smelled fresh, and our bed was very comfortable. After a long day of driving, my husband and I were able to get a good night's sleep and continue on our 1,400 mile, three day trip. Breakfast was hot and delicious.
Very clean. The floor passed my "white sock" test with 75%. Breakfast (included) was well stocked: waffle station, biscuits/gravy, scrambled eggs and much more. Easy on/off I75. We will stay again if passing through TN. Indoor pool was clean and well-maintained.
Easy access to and from interstate. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Best Western continues to be my hotel of choice. Traveling cross country is a choice for many and BW offers the best rest for your money. Breakfast does vary between each hotel but it is delicious.
Staff was friendly and nice. Check in was fast and easy. Because I was a rewards member I got an upgrade.
clean. bathroom was very small and toilet is very high but the room was very clean and the do take pets. breakfast was good
Quite often the hotel level are not what they promise, however, here, the Plus level, is well addressed. This was not my first stay in this area, and was not disappointed in the encounter.. Having been a previous dedicated hotel consumer, I found that in time foreign owned enterprises, just simply did not have a first workd skill set nor standard. Best Western Seems to be of a different mind set. They seem to be striving to be a group apart. Here this is self evident.
The hotel was clean but there is painting chipping everywhere. The door was badly chopping, bathroom Vanity & other furniture. Breakfast also was sadly lacking, nothing tasted right.
We always stay at Best Western. We've tried various ones in Chatanooga over the years driving to Florida. We will be staying here from now on. The hotel felt newly renovated. At check in we asked for an upgrade as we are Best Western members and we were given a bigger room, a suite. It was spotless, big, very quiet. The breakfast was the normal food but the breakfast nook area was all very clean and well stocked. I've attached a few pictures. Please please keep this Best Western top notch.
Most comfy bed ever! I also love that the curtains were blackout curtains! I was able to get A wonderful night rest after a very long day.
The beds are so comfortable n the room was spotless ...the staff were super friendly n welcoming...Matthew the maintenance man was super helpful n willing to stop what he was doing to help me with the espresso machine (complimentary)by the way . The desk clerks were awesome wonderful experience over all will Def be back
Nice big clean rooms. Everything we needed was available. Very friendly staff, updated tv and amenities. The purified water in the lobby was a nice touch. Good location as well, we felt safe in the area. Close to restaurants and supermarket.
I had a very good experience, checking in and checking out. The rooms was clean. The bed was very nice and so was the pillows. Breakfast was very good and I was impressed that they had food alternatives for dairy allergies. Overall, a very good experience
The hotel was so clean and amenities seemed brand new. It was also in a great location. We had our pet with us and they were super accommodating and gave her a pet and a treat when we visited. We enjoyed our stay.
Lack of television was a big letdown. Just direct TV free with ads. Not what I was expecting for the price. The room was super spacious with nice guest room. Liked the idea of a wall thermostat but you have to know to turn the window unit on first..would have been nice to know.
This hotel was nice. We walked in without a reservation and thankfully Candice at the front desk helped us to get a good rate using our AARP discount. The room was clean and plenty big. I don't know why you wouldn't stay here. Glad we found this hotel.
The entire staff at this hotel is extremely friendly and they take pride in their work. It's very clean and the pillows and beds are comfy. My husband claimed it was the best night's sleep he's had in years.
My husband and I stopped here on our way to Florida. It was a quick check in and very clean room. Nice choices for breakfast and friendly help. We would stay here again. The young man who checked us in was also super nice, telling us where the nearby restaurants were and greeting us every time we walked in the door
We had a great experience, from the warming welcome and entrance with all of the decor and gnomes to the most comfortable bed ever! Everything was lovely and clean, exceeded our expectations for our short stay!
I had high hopes because this place had good reviews. However, the sink was cracked and just patched instead of replaced, the bathroom had a strong smell of mold, where there most likely is some kind of water damage that was not treated because you couldn't see anything, but the smell was extremely strong. Even after I complained and they sanitize the room there was no change in the level of the mold smell. There was paint missing on the doors. I reserved a regular king room and I got a handicap king room and when I said that's not what I reserved they said well that's all that's left. The deadbolt didn't work because it was installed improperly so they did fix that the second night but the first night I was not secure and the woman gave me a lot of attitude at the front desk about it like it was my fault. Room was rundown, and I probably have spores in my lungs from the mold., I would've been happier paying a third of the price for a room at this level and at least I would've gotten what I paid for. Lots of noise in the hallway, dog yapping and barking at night, and cars outside.
Water pressure in the shower was pathetic, the drywall was peeling, the sink did not drain properly. But the most disappointing part of our trip was that you had a fee for EV charging. The Holiday Inn next door had 2 free chargers. I have used the charger company that is at your hotel many times and never faced a charge before.
Staff was amazing and courteous, from check in to the breakfast staff. The site was clean and kept up as a whole. We did notice the elevator was not available, though our room was on the first floor. Everyone was professional and courteous.
Other than the elevator being out of order and a little bit of noise above us this was a very nice stay. The poole was outside and closed for the season. The place has been renovated in the past couple of years. The room was very clean.
Room odor was very mold and musky. Staff did nothing to accommodate another room for handicap husband as elevator for the other two floors was broken. Did not receive a solution or a discount after complaining to both night and day clerk. Breakfast was awful.
It was very clean and staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the pool area. The breakfast was also very good. We went to Cleveland for white water rafting at High Country and they too we're outstanding. The hotel's location was convenient to eating establishments and shopping.
This was our first stay and it won't be our last. Very clean, modern decor, and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was pretty decent. They had biscuits & gravy, sausage, and eggs for hot food along with the waffle machines. It didn't affect us because we were on the first floor, but their elevator was down while we were there. My only negative would be that there is not much pressure in the showers, but very hot water.
Liked · The overall first impression was that we chose a decent location in a safe area near the college. Based on my travel experience, the value was a little bit overpriced, and with a week's stay, normally I would have received several perks and a substantial discount. The hotel was affordable and private but I did see other locations that I will keep my eyes on for our next visit in the future. Having a potential business in the area, I suspect that I might be in the area more often. The building was in good repair and had no unpleasant odor. The room seemed freshly remodeled and painted with lovely wall hangings. The beds were in good condition and the bedding spotless. The suite sofa-sleeper was adequate but not overall comfortable versus similar accommodations in the area. Considering that we were in town for a weeklong conference at Lee University, I was surprised at how few people stayed on this property. Because of the lack of being overly full, we had minimal noise during the night and felt comfortable getting rest without disruption. The only time we had to ask for the noise levels to be addressed, the staff took care of it without further issues. The policy of this hotel was that room services were provided every three days. For my family, I would say this was not exactly the best idea and felt like we needed to fend for ourselves by getting towels and toiletries often. The toilet paper quality was fine but the roll size was in question. My suggestion would be a different brand to provide a better value because, at home, my family would have used maybe 2 rolls at the same time we used 7 at the hotel because they were small. Disliked · The elevator being out of service was an immediate issue and it was not resolved during the week we stayed. I am disabled as was the lady that I reserved the other room for and we were unable to climb stairs. Luckily we were both given rooms on the bottom floor unlike originally planned. I would say that it was our luck that we had canceled our third room for a wheelchair-bound person because the property would not have been acceptable to her. The AC system was not efficient or capable of serving the entire room. The suite was like a sauna without venting for any comfort. The restroom was poorly designed, tight, and unventilated. The toilet was wedged between a wall and the tub with no room to sit properly and with no circulation vent, it allowed human stink to linger for everyone. Lack of privacy was also a factor as entry to the restroom had no door and the suite had to disturb the sleeping area to gain access. The hair dryer did not work but my girls brought their own to use. The doors drag the carpet and are hard to open & close which over time is going to ruin the carpet. It seemed like the flooring under the carpet was uneven which will cause issues for carpet replacement sooner than needed. At checkout, I was disturbed when my bill was overcharged by over $220. Initially, I was told that the tax rate had increased but I disproved that being the issue. We had to endure a long process of explaining and showing my confirmed booking before finally making some adjustments. There were two adults, a 17 & 16-year-old for the room that slept six and the website clearly states that children under 18 stay free with each adult. The manager did make an adjustment but I felt like this was not handled in the best way. In all my years of using Booking or similar services, this is the first time I have ever had problems with pricing being an issue.
Elevator didn't work, rooms were on third floor. I was sent a text message the morning of the stay for a link that would expedite check in. Upon checking in I had to sign forms and answer questions as any other time. Don't understand the purpose of the text.
The pillows needed to be larger even though they were comfortable. Just a little small for the bed size. Loved the coffee in the room. Great TV channels. The fridge was great. The room was clean and well kept.
The room itself was pretty good, however, the bathroom was extremely moldy smelling. There was no exhaust fan or and type of ventilation. The door always remained closed. Also, it was a pet friendly room and the previous occupants apparently had an animal that peed on the carpet. My dog immediately picked up the scent.
If you want a quiet night of rest, do not stay on the 1st floor. You will hear every single footstep above you. Also, check your room. Our walls and the TV had black stuff (looked like someone threw coffee) all over them.
The Hotel was good and considering some others I have stayed at, I honestly love that they serve Sausage Biscuits and Gravy Daily! Other's serve it occasionally! The Sausage and Biscuits are good because it fills me up without being so full that it's harder to drive.
Pet friendly hotel. Clean. Quiet. Nice pool area. Nice dog area. Stayed on 1st floor. I travel between OH and GA quite often so I stop in Cleveland TN overnight as a 1/2 way point. Previously I was staying at another hotel that always put you on the 2nd floor if you had a dog and it was loud and more expensive. There was very little grass and never any poop bags regardless of paying a pet fee. Overall Best Western proved to be much better for me personally. The staff at BW was also way more welcoming to both me and my pet.
One of the nicer Best Western Hotels. Looked nice both exterior and interior. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The room was very comfortable. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Very clean hotel. Would definitely recommend.
My toddler dropped a few fries upon entry to our room in the hallway outside our room. Our hands were full so proceeded to u load our belongings and when we returned back to hallway a few mins later roaches were on the fries.
I didn't bring a pet but I would. Clean, renovated, quiet, everything I want in a hotel. I had to ask for help to make the shower work. I didn't understand the faucet mechanism but help did come and was helpful. Nice staff/people, quiet, convenient to absolutely everything in Cleveland, TN You bet I would stay here again.
We stayed in a "King suite with full kitchen." There was not one single piece of kitchenware in the kitchen. No pots, no pans, no cups, no knives, not even a bottle opener. We asked the front desk and were told to use the continental breakfast plastic ware, and that they no longer supply anything else. Why offer a room with an oven, range, and full kitchen then not supply kitchenware? Nobody travels with their own pots and pans. The living room area of our room was also lacking adequate lighting. Other than these two things, everything was pretty good.
Great place to stay at a reasonable price point. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Cleveland is a great place to stop and it is and is right off of I75. Gas and restaurants are in close proximity to the hotel.
Room dirty. Bathroom. Refrigerator dirty inside. Air conditioner filter filled with dust and cobwebs. Really bad!!! Other than that, the hotel was OK. Parking was included, and spaces were always available. Breakfast was included, and was not bad.
We sold our house and our other house wasn't going to be available until the next day so we decided to stay at a hotel. I'm so glad we chose this hotel first of all the guys at the front desk John & Deonte were wonderful they are very kind, respectful and helpful. These guys greeted us everytime we walked in and made us feel so welcome! The hotel was very very clean and nice the beds were soooo comfortable also the pool was nice and clean it was very relaxing just sitting around the pool. So if you ever are traveling through Cleveland Tennessee and need a hotel please check out this hotel you will feel like you are at home and you will feel appreciated. Thank you John & Deonte for making us feel so welcome!
I had been looking at rooms in the Cleveland area and everything seemed so expensive. Come to find out, there was a large conference in town that week, thus the higher room prices. We typically book with another chain simply for the rewards but the price for the room was just too far of a stretch for us. I found BW+ Magnolia Inn on TA and after looking at it, seeing the price and talking with my hubby, we decided to book it. I'm SO glad that we did! This is NOT a brand new building BUT it has been COMPLETELY renovated and it is so nice. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on it but I will say that we WILL be back again when we are stopping in Cleveland!
It was a great stay!!! The pool and room was super well kept! All of the employees were extremely nice and it made me excited to come back to the hotel! It was great for our little family trip!! 10/10 :)
I stayed at this property June 13th - 17th 2022, Room 217. I had no negative issues during my stay. Room was pretty up to date, micro/fridge, great A/C! Breakfast was standard continental, clean facility. Plenty of restaurants close. Used exercise room once, it was fine. Mention to John, Katie, Amanda in the lobby for being professional and very helpful. Matt and Jen did my housekeeping, very pleasant. Great spot for a quick overnight, and back on I-75. I would stay here again. Thanks!
Very nice, newer and CLEAN! Lady at the front desk who checked us in was pleasant and helpful. Room was immaculate, all amenties perfect. Breakfast was okay, what you would expect , eggs, sausage and waffles. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
