Best Western Hotel Parco Paglia

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, they organised my taxis to and from the airport during my stay. Level of English speaking is high, so easy for the international travelers. I did not try the breakfast as my days started too early. The room was big and temperature was perfect. Bed bit hard, but I like that, I slept well. The hotel is also very quiet which helps with a good night sleep. The only downside is that ( most hotels do this) there is the sign that if you want your towels changed put them on the floor. I left mine hanging, but they still got changed. This is not following the procedure as advertised or helping the environment. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Only the lights and TV worked No safe working no air con or heating. Very basic toiletries. Bring your own. Parking a nightmare. No spa. It's been closed for 5 years. Check your bill and your banking app at check out as I was charged 3 times for same stay.!

I was very happy with my stay at the Hotel Parco Paglia. Very friendly staff, which made the stay a pleasure. The room is functional, but very comfortable with a comfortable (hard) bed and pillows. I was very happy to see the hallway lights went on only when movement was detected so electricity wasn't wasted. Very nice breakfast - similar to other breakfasts in more luxurious hotels in Italy. One side of the hotel looks out at the old city of Chieti on top if the hill - but over a sea of warehouses (this being the industrial area - take a look at the picture). Very easy to get from here to downtown Pescara (About 15 mm in car) of Chieti. Also - very easy to get on the highway to Rome and no problem with parking. I was very happy with the hotel and will definitely stay there the next time in the area.

Stopped here with my family on our way to Puglia. The Hotel seems brand new. Nicely furnished rooms with good vital space. Breakfast was good with great selection of cakes. Excellent service. Not too far from old town Chieti. Overall a good Hotel.

Visted the hotel for two nights in the weekend. Perfect service by the staff. Price in the weekend is very nice, during the week a bit high. It's possible to park in frond of the hotel for free or in the garage for 5 euro per night. Breakfast is very well with plenty of choice and great staff. Rooms are large. Shower is a glass wall, so if you want privacy, then this may be an issue. Toilet is separate and not transparent. The only minus was have cloth hangers, but not a cupboard, so everything is in the open or in the suitcase. The bed, which was large, had no tables on the side. So, everything, including phone lies almost on the floor. But overall, an excellent place to stay. There is a bar, but no restaurant. There is a restaurant next door, which is more for families with children, But, the food is OK. All other restaurants are further away (needs car)

Our room was large with a very big shower and separate toilet. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was substantial. Location was a little removed from the hub but not to far to walk to the main strip.. we used this hotel as our base to see the unspoilt beauty of abruzzo..

My husband and i stayed in room 304, my 2 daughters in room 303, and my daughter partner and son stayed in room 306. All rooms were lovely and clean, large and very modern. Bathroom and toilet had glass walls, very unusual! The furniture is very modern, but not practical, as the overhead unit sticks out and we all hit our heads on it! The hairdryer is attached below the wash basin and cannot be moved, a very enclosed space to dry your hair, and even though a mirror is there, it is still a little dark to put on make up There is i lovely long unit in the bedroom, with shelves, fridge and plugs, so i sat there to straighten my hair, but no vanity mirror, which a woman needs to do her makeup. The beds are huge, and very firm. Fresh water is given every day for free, and also left out in the hall way for you to help yourself to, as well as extra toilet rolls etc in case you run out. We loved the breakfast, lots of cereals, yogurts, breads and jams, bacon and scrambled eggs, and cold meats and cheese. Good coffee and fruit juices, and lovely fresh fruits. The staff were lovely, did everything they could if we needed any help, you could tell that they cared for their customers. The hotel is in an industrial area, with a good cafe next door, and a 5 minute walk to Andys Bar just down the road on the same side as the hotel. You can also walk into the small centre in about 15 minutes, where we went to some nice bars.

What a shocking location! In an industrial area, nothing around for quite a few good kilometers. After we drove all day, we just wanted to go to a local restaurant and have something to see the day away. Unfortunately, we were told that the singer Mika was having a concert in the middle of town that evening and all the roads were closed so, couldn't even go in, even if we'd pushed ourselves. The receptionist told us we could go by taxi, but the fare didn't seem to be worth it, so we tried to find something close by. Total waste of time, as there was absolutely nothing around. The hotel next door, where we could see a restaurant was closed. The room was ok, clean, good enough for the night. The bathroom/shower room had a very strange/or very modern look: a glass 'cubicle' in the room... too little privacy with a child shared room.

Fantastic modern, clean and comfortable hotel. I truly recommend it. I traveled with my nephew and my daughter. The room has a very good size with shower and separate a tub. Room service and maids are fantastic. Best little secret is breakfast.

A great hotel to stay at, the staff is so friendly and courteous. I have truly enjoyed my stay. Home away from home.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is passing through this area. I rate this hotel 10 out of 10.

You would not even dream that in a Best western hotel you can get such a royal breakfast and such a nice staff, always smiling! I had the surprise of being offered the special desert and salad the Chef created for that day!! Breakfast buffet was very rich, with a large variety of local products, home made cakes etc. fresh orange juice and lots of fruits, as well as a great cappuccino completed the offer. The minimalistic design of the dining tables and chairs was mirrored also in the room: simple , sober, clean, with a touch of orange - the face towels! You can see it is a place where people like to work and be of help!! I even got the band-aid for one of my wounded fingers!! Thank you!!

A modern well run hotel on the outskirts of Chieti. It's actually located on an industrial estate. Rooms are large. Breakfast is buffet style and very fresh with lots of choice. Our bathroom/toilet was a very modern glass affair - perhaps lacking enough privacy for some. There is secure covered parking under the hotel. Next door their is a nice diner style restaurant with good choice and pricing that is very popular with locals. Recommended if you need to stay in the area for business or short break.

Hotel and hospitality is great. Laundry service is the worst. Do not use it. 1.) It takes up to 4 days to get your laundry back 2.) You will be missing some. We also experienced an earthquake due this stay. The hotel personnel did not comment nor ask if everybody was ok or needed anything.

Amazing value for money! I'll choose the best western everywhere I go based on my stay here. The rooms were very modern/ looked amazing, very clean rooms, great breakfast and staff were friendly/helpful and was super good price! Would recommend :)

We stayed one night only. the hotel is nice and very clean The room was a good size and the shower gave us a good laugh (is all glass in the middle of the room!). Breakfast was amazing, lots of different choices.The underground parking was a plus since we got there during a terrible storm!

Amazing breakfast and staff!! Very friendly and helpful. Very clean/new. Location weird - as others have said. Industrial, no way to efficiently get over the R.R. tracks to other shops etc.. (Turning left out of hotel was a bit quicker.) One restaurant next door quite good (excellent house red). Rooms very nice except for noise from other guests - echoing around the concrete, unadorned walls and floors.

I won't be original, so just say that as a vegan I was very happy with the breakfast. The hotel itself was neat and clean, shame we didn't make any pictures. This coastline seemed less picturesque and pretty than the one at the Amalfi coast.

If you are on your way to Rome the hotel is situated few min. from the highway price is fair compare to what you get the room was superb internet works perfect, in the vicinity there are few terrific meat restaurants, hotel breakfast is simply the best a very reach table with all kinds of food and in-special the Celeriac apple juice, not mentioning the fact that the crew can be asked for any demand and get's it in seconds.

Extremely modern rooms, glass enclosed walk in showers, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast buffet included! Fresh fruit, pastries, juices, coffees, ample selections you are sure to leave satisfied and quite full !

Huge bed, big room. Very interesting design, especially bathroom - entire made of glass, very good shower.. Good sound and light isolation - 3 curtains to avoid light in morning and no noise from street. Perfect location for Rome-Pescara highway travelers. Chieti center around 10 min drive away. Superb breakfast (1€) - from traditional Italian sweet pastry to variety of hams, yogurts, fruits, omelette, good coffee and nice personnel.

This hotel fulfills all you would want from a hotel. Staff are young, enthusiastic, polite and efficient. Rooms are modern and clean and breakfast is plentiful and good quality. It is also very price competitive. The only negative is the location. It is in a industrial area a few kilometres from the autostrada. This was a positive for us as used it to break up our journey between Florence and Lecce. We liked it so much we booked to stay on the way back.

I stayed in this hotel twice and definitely will go there again whenever I have to be around that area. Parking is guaranteed, staff is friendly, and the room is not an ordinary one. I must say the idea of the bathroom is very nice. The room was clean and the breakfast is excellent, a variety of choices for all tastes. Highly recommend this.
