We were extremely happy with how clean this hotel is. From the lobby, the rooms, to the breakfast area. Everything is stylish and new. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the Cheyenne area. It is a little easy of town but worth it. Thanks for a great experience.
Very clean bathroom. Caulk job was super! I couldn't find any mold. :) Sheets were great, they weren't old! Breakfast was great for a continental breakfast. Plenty of room for our dog to run. Safe area and very nice staff! Great one night stay!
The hotel was nice Eating area was small but good Staff was polite Most important is that there is major construction surrounding the hotel and no parking for trucks with trailers. It is hard to find the entry to the hotel in the dark We were told park in fire lane! So if you're pulling- until construction is finished- move on We also didn't find a restaurant nearby- in the dark
I only visited my family that stayed here. Was a dump. Dirty all over. The guest bathroom had water all over counters, no paper towels. The floors were dirty, the elevator was dirty. There seemed to be a lack of concern for the hotel by the employees.
This ruined our cross country road trip. Everything was great Except the bed it was extremely uncomfortable we woke up every half hour. We checked out at 7 am to look for another hotel so we could get rest. If a good nights sleep is important for your long travel don't stay here. People check in hotels to get rest this did not happen for us. We left with back aches and legs. This also changed our target date to get to our final destination.
Great experience. Worth the extra 8 minute drive from Highway 25. The young lady at the front desk was great, welcoming and the entire hotel was one of the Best “Best Western's” I have stayed in. Highly recommend. The steak house restaurant just down the road was recommended by the front desk and great as well. Thank You
This was one of the more surprisingly spacious hotel rooms I have had in a while, although my reservation specifically had listed it as a "larger room", so I don't know how it compares to one of the standard rooms. It was a very comfortable room and bed with a large TV and a kitchenette. Local TV stations were not coming in well on the TV so I couldn't watch the portion of the Olympics that were on broadcast TV, but the cable channels came in fine. I don't know if that was an issue with this particular TV or the hotel in general, but it was only a minor issue for me during an otherwise excellent and comfortable stay.
Everything from check in to check out was great! The sheets and blanket were sooo soft! I could have stayed in bed longer. Friendly staff, very clean and up to date. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in town. The price was very reasonable and breakfast had a good variety.
The amenities were fabulous. Cookies and coffee on arrival, a packet containing Q-tips and nail file in the room and a choose your own omelette included with breakfast. A great experience. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cheyenne.
Stayed here 2 years ago. You can tell cost cutting has hit. First - no local channels. Definitely ask for even numbered rooms, otherwise you hear truck air brakes all night. Breakfast definitely not as good. They offered a "make a breakfast sandwich" with a thin round premade egg patty/sausage/canadian bacon. Cranberry drink almost like water. Posted to be "build an omelet". Room relatively clean. Tub water faucet coming out of wall. Sink handle/stopper areas a little mouldy. Staff friendly. Easy check in. Key cards wrongly programmed for 1 night vs 2. And as luck would have it, had room right next to ice machine. Not good!
I was so excited for this hotel after a full day of driving and eating gas station food. They advertise a complimentary hot breakfast but unless you're up at dawn they run out of the sausage gravy and won't make more. Juice dispenser wasn't working. Eggs and sausage were hard as rocks. The green chili sauce for build your own breakfast sandwich was out too. It was 8am and breakfast isnt over until 930 so I guess people get cold cereal after that. Inside the hotel room the shower dispenser toiletries were empty along with the tissue. The front desk did give some bottles of shampoo after the fact.
Your manager, Susie?? is amazing. Even though she had worked an extremely long day, she was welcoming and friendly...the best of the best. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom counter was about 8' long! Good quick breakfast. Plenty of parking. Nice tidy hotel. Thank you!
Overall a great experience from making the reservation to checkout. Staff was knowledgeable, professional and polite. The rooms were clean upon arrival. Location was convenient from the interstate. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you.
I can't praise the entire staff enough for the level they went to to accommodate us! My wife got a sepsis infection on our way home from Cody and had to stay in the hospital for 5 days. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to deal with the situation including keeping an eye on our little dog when I was at the hospital. HIGH PRAISES all around!!!
The front office staff was very friendly and accommodating! The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were just there for a short time on our road trip but would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great experience!
We had a great stay here. It's a great central location to downtown Cheyenne. All of the hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Amy at the front desk is wonderful and greeted us every time we returned to the hotel. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of options including biscuits and gravy and green chili. We will stay here again for our next trip to Cheyenne! Thank you for a great stay!
Property is out of the way, located in an industrialized factory area with next to nothing around it; only food choice for night was across the street at a gas station with hot food and a Subway inside; we opted for Subway. The hotel actually. had someone's motorcycle parked right outside the front double-glass lobby doors for the night!!?? Just a below-average property for BW from our experiences, plus it was $200.00+ for a night...Ridiculously overprived. This is a big pass on the list of BW properties throughout the US.
The Best Western Frontier Inn is an oasis along the I-80 highway. We had a lovely stay! The decor was lovely. We had plenty of fresh towels and hot water. The bed was comfy, and the breakfast was delicious. This Best Western really lived up to the name.
Excellent service from the front desk staff. Made great pains to make sure we were not in a pet friendly room. Great staff and nice room. The only issue we had there was the sausage was a bit overdone for breakfast. This review wants me to make it up to 200 characters but I'm having trouble doing that. As I said the staff was excellent the beds were comfortable the rooms were quiet everything was good
Very friendly and helpful staff. The two queen bedroom was a little small in size. But, had a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. It was very clean. The breakfast were good. With many choices. We would stay there again.
Jamie, Aurora, Audi and the entire Staff at this location are to be commended on their professional and friendly operation of this property! I have stayed here through the renovation of the guest rooms, and the impending renovation of the common areas will add value to the property. The new room decor, and functional changes to the "Deluxe" rooms make this my "Go To" spot when staying in the area!
Lovely property so well maintained fabulous staff night and day from the Best Westerns an the East coast, we would highly recommend
The woman that checked us in on Mon June 3rd was great! Also, the young lady that handled the breakfast area, kept everything filled and hot! Clean, quiet and a great place, close to downtown and other areas.
I have stayed there once before and liked the place. It is close to the freeway and easy to get around parking a little tight but is OK. I liked the breakfast, and they had tea and lemonade out at night. I will stay there next time in town.
I have no complaints about our stay, it was great. What I like about Best Western is I can pay with cash and points. Not to many hotels do that.
This was a very nice chain hotel. The check in was pleasant and the woman at check in was friendly. The room was very spacious with a sitting area with a couch and table. We had a wheelchair accessible room with a roll in shower. The bed was very comfortable. Compared to other hotels in this class the accommodations are superior. The room rate included breakfast and they had hot tea and coffee available in the lobby. The room had a microwave and refrigerator and the lobby sold some instant meals. They also had an indoor pool and hot tub. We would have used the hot tub but there were a few young kids in it so we took a pass. The hotel is not right downtown which we appreciated
First off, the lady at the reception desk was excellent and you don't want to lose her! She is kind and very welcoming. The lobby is very nice our room was clean and comfortable. I can't respond about the breakfast as we will not be eating. We would 109% stay here when going through Cheyenne.
Akia was a life saver! Literally helped me and another traveler out instantly. Great service from her! The phones didn't work but I received a text and responded to it…not thinking anyone would respond. She responded and help secure lodging for me at a better rate and was very friendly.
Lovely staff. Amazingly modern and clean rooms. And best of all quiet. Great continental breakfast. Everything I needed was provided and I really have nothing bad to say about the stay. 10/10 I would stay again and recommend to anybody in the area that needs a place to stay to go here!
Great quiet safe place so stay. Our room was clean and the breakfast provided was great with a lot of choices. The location seemed to be out of our way but it was a quick distance and worth the extra miles.
We arrived about 9pm. Very nice girl checked us in. Room nice. Only complaint would be the bathroom lightning. I know, sounds minor. But the only 2 lights on each side of mirror are pry 6 ft above shining towards the CEILING & were “yellow”, so very dim in bathroom, coukd leave on all night & would not bother you. Lol. They should put daylight LEDs in bathrooms. Comfy beds. Very nice girl tending to breakfast. They had a crock of pork green chili. Hubby said good. He put it on his eggs very large variety. We would definitely stay there again. Oh, and I almost forgot, the lobby desk girl told us to order Mr. Jim's pizza, and they would deliver because the weather was so bad outside. We ordered at 9:15 knowing that they closed at 10. No problem. Delicious pizza!!!!
Very nice & clean hotel! Nice breakfast selection. Not far off I-25 & near a gas station. Pet friendly & quiet. Only complaint was the water in the shower does not get very hot. Water stayed lukewarm. I would stay here again though! Staff was very friendly.
This Hotel is exceptionally maintained, with a fantastic Staff. Ongoing remodeling of Guest Rooms will only add to the value! Internet could use a little help! But overall an excellent choice in the Cheyenne area.
This was a great property! Everything was so clean and kept! Breakfast was tasty! Staff was kind and helpful! Bathroom was spacious and didn't feel cramped. Everything worked and was in order. The beds were comfy. Lots of towels in the rooms. They allow pets for a small fee, but totally worth it. The property was quiet.
Clearly rhe 5 star reviewers were paid to do so. Desk clerk was curt , unprofessional and unfriendly. Made no difference to her that we had already logged 12 hours of travel time. And yes we were an hour early for check in, but she didn't even to check to see if there were any clean rooms available. I've been BW member for many years and travel extensively. Have never experienced this level of incompetence. Hotel decor is extremely old and dated. It took us quite a bit of fenangling to get the showerhead to work and the old tub is slippery so be careful. Breakfast was the usual fare. Was adequate. Coffee good and always available. Both the week and weekend attendants were extremely efficient and professional and friendly. Pool and hot tub down for entire visit. Fitness room was too claustrophobic to use. Beds need replacing. Had to buy heating pad to relieve back pain. I wholeheartedly do not recommend this property. Btw when we returned precisely I hour later, Aurora was desk clerk and very friendly.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel near Cheyenne, Wyoming. It is in close proximity to the Archer Event Center, where a lot of dog events take place. The room had a king size bed in it, which was quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly . The breakfast was a cut above because the first morning I was there they had real bacon and eggs. That alone gives them a high rating in my book. I very much appreciated being allowed to bring my pet. I was very careful to be a responsible dog owner by putting a cover sheet on my bed and making sure I picked up after my dog. PEOPLE, PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG! it's very rude not to. I will definitely stay there again!
Hotel was conveniently located right off the interstate, but we experienced no highway noise. Our room was nice and clean, along with a comfortable king size bed. Our check-in went well, and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and food was delicious. We will stay again!
Wonderful front desk lady Susie helped us out when we arrived at the hotel with a problem with our car. She called the rental company and handed us the phone, so that we could make an appointment to go to nearby car company. Furthermore she gave us an upgrade for the room, because we have had enough trouble today. How nice can you be, we were very grateful for Susie's help!! And the room is very good too.
Great service everyone was friendly. Breakfast was good, pancakes and snacks offered were nice. Could use popcorn for microwaves. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Loved the shuttle service. Happy hour was great too!
Stayed here while visiting the Cheyenne Frontier Days and loved our experience. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We felt very welcome and they treated us like family. They also provided a shuttle to and from the CFD which was beyond convenient and a great resource. Breakfast was good and the happy hour during the event stay was also a nice touch. Rooms were clean and quiet. Would highly recommend, especially if visiting during the Cheyenne Frontier Days.
Quoted one price $149.99 on the phone. Didn't send confirmation email. Surprise in the morning it's $159.99. Told the clerk she's so sorry. Sent a message to customer service. Of course no reply. ZERO customer service
We had the most friendliest cook for Breakfast named "Dan". He should be front desk greeter. The person at the front desk was not friendly and never smiled . We met the nicest couple Charles and Tracy. We suprisingly exchanged numbers. We never do that. .
Not a bad hotel, just a bad price for it. Staff was very friendly although a bit intrusive about my coworker when checking in. They said they required any guests last name and that he know my phone number (the one registered to the room) 'in case he were locked out and needed a new key card'. In spite of policy out of their control, they were all very nice and the breakfast cook was equally pleasant. The room was nothing bad but nothing spectacular either. The internet was molasses slow when it worked at all. My biggest grievance was that the room was advertised on Google maps as 190 per night however ended up being 239 in actuality. The location, while not dreadfully far from some dining and shopping by car, had only a pilot truck stop across the street within a short walking distance.
Very nice place to stay. The check in staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and well stocked with fresh fruit. Clean area for eating.
The staff here was very helpful in changing dates for my stay, even though I had a non refundable rate. The front desk was great and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
The front desk woman was cheerful and was not annoyed that we arrived late. She gave us a goody bag with snacks and water which was a nice touch. Breakfast was surprisingly good for hotel food. Someone made an effort to actually make it tasty. The young man working it was very friendly and attentive. Overall the property and rooms were good, but the staff made it great.
The girl who checked us in was very curt and acted as if our presence was a bother. She didn't smile back at me even once. The shower heat/cool adjustor was broken so the shower was either burning hot or freezing cold. The showhead was not adjustable and pointed straight at the back wall, leaving the floor flooded. The hot tube jets were so week that it was just a giant bathtub.
Outstanding customer service ~ kudos to Susie on the phone, Jeana @ check-in, Brandy @ ck-out & Shady, the helpful breakfast attendant. Everyone on staff was the perfect combination of friendly & efficient. It was a very cold night & the hot apple cider in the lobby was lovely. Room was very clean w/fridge/micro & free wifi w/ample signal. Nice linens & generous supply of bright white towels. Appreciated the automatic front doors ~ I hate trying to wrestle an overloaded luggage cart through manual doors, especially in inclement weather. Parking lot was well lit and I felt my vehicle was safe. Great value & I would definitely stay here again.
This was the best stop of our trip - great breakfast, clean comfortable room and wonderful staff. The beds were so much more comfortable than any of our previous stops. Not a lot of nearby choices for dinner, so we had to make the Subway work and even they were just wonderful and kind.
Haven't stayed at a BW for quite sometime, was glad I did. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice facility! Breakfast included which is a big deal for us saves some money. Pets were welcomed.. Would definitely stay here again.
This is an older hotel. Clean and comfortable enough but in need of some updating and repairs. The price made up for the minor lack of maintenance. Breakfast was good with waffles ,scrambled eggs but no fresh fruit.
Very nicely run hotel. Room was good sized and with mini fridge, microwave, and room safe. Large bathroom with a walk in shower with actual water pressure! I found their breakfast offerings to be complete and well presented. The staff was very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Wifi was good and consistently worked. The location of the hotel was better than I had expected. Right off of I-80, it is only about 10 to 15 minutes away from downtown Cheyenne and only 5 minutes away from a Walmart and Sierra Trading post. I would definitely stay again the next time I am in Cheyenne.
The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfy. We were near the elevator and was afraid it would be noisy but it was quiet and didn't hear anything. It was great. Great coffee and breakfast. Friendly staff and the hotel itself was very clean and well done.
Starting with Paul at the front desk, I appreciated eveything about the BW. This is the fourth one I've stayed in and I have never been disappointed. This is a place where the staff care about their guests and it shows in everything they do. Way to go BW!!
We were travelling to visit family and this hotel was the closest to the area we were hoping to be in. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the hotel as it does not appear to be a large building. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the area it is served in was very clean. I would highly recommend this property.
Spacious room on the first floor. We were near the pool and lobby, but it was quiet. No noise issues. Nice pool area! Everything was very clean. Breakfast was great - the attendant was friendly. Laundry is on the second floor at the end of the hall.
Newer BW hotel that is in great shape. We stay here at least 4 times a year. Very clean and updated. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The pre checking on mobile was a nice feature. Breakfast falls a little short of my expectations. They could have better choices. All in all a good stay.
Stayed in this hotel while visiting Frontier Days. It was very clean and breakfast was good. Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. They offered free shuttle to and from Frontier Days which made it so easy. They also had a free happy hour during our stay which was very enjoyable and we got to visit with other guests and staff. Can't wait to go back and stay again and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Cheyenne.
The front desk lady made sure we had a 1st floor room for our dog. There was a nice dog walk area. The location was a bit off the beaten path but it was very quiet which is always a bonus! The breakfast was awesome! I loved the local favorites on the buffet.
This hotel is about 10 minutes from cheyenne proper. Very clean and breakfast was good. Unusual green pork chili was good. Friendly staff. Near interstate and truck stop so some noise but not bad. AC is on off kind so it did come on during the night.
This hotel is ideally located for probes of Cheyenne. Parking is ample and secure. All facilities are sparkling clean and retain the fresh air appeal of newness and exceptional care. We stay here rather than any other property because there's nothing better than this gem. Staff top-to-bottom manifests superb training! Customer satisfaction is uppermost for this hospitality team.
This is my second stay at this hotel in the past two years. A very nice, clean hotel, friendly staff and convenient pet friendly rooms. I definitely will stay at this hotel again on my next trip through Cheyenne.
My family and I stayed here while attending the frontier days in Cheyenne. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They catered to our every need and made us feel right at home. We had a complimentary happy hour where we had a chance to meet other guests while our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. They provided free transportation to the park. I would definitely bring my family back to stay here again!!
I'm a teacher and all about trying to help make things better hence this post in hopes to make change because in sharing this directly with the hotel and contacting BW guest services they appear not to care. 1. I think it is very wrong for a hotel to charge you 100% in full for a room almost 27 days before your stay with NO notice. And the only way I found out about it was by calling last Monday because I was paying bills and saw this charge. 2. I understand I made the reservation with a deposit and have no problem paying a deposit to hold a room. A deposit is different than a non refundable, pay in full 27 days in advance with no notice. This should have been disclosed at our reservation and we would have NOT stayed here. 3. It is terrible that we were held hostage by this hotel. I called this hotel 10xs between Saturday and Sunday morning to speak with a manager. I was told they were gone, helping a guest, helping with a happy hour, and they'd call me back. Never a call back from Saturday 2pm-Sunday 8:30 am. Yet, when I finally called BW guest services, they called the hotel and miraculously got Jamie the manager, yet she wasn't there for me to speak to moments before I called guest services. ALSO, guest services acknowledged Jamie said I called Sunday morning, but she knew nothing about the 8 calls requesting a call back on Saturday? It appears to me either the receptionist from Saturday lied and didn't do their job, or Jamie was avoiding my call. My gut is it is option 2. (Provided guest services with screen shot of call Log). 4. We left the hotel we wanted to stay at to come here because we were held hostage and they could for no reason cancel our reservation. We are thankful they let us leave our bags in our room early, verses leave them in our truck box to be stolen; however, that was the only positive of our stay. *we didn't even want to be here *out check in took 25 minutes and the receptionist, although very nice, tried to charge me twice for my room and didn't know how to handle that I already been charged in full. *property smells *got to our room and our air didn't work and it was 90 degrees that day.(Glad we were gone during the day but made sleeping last night a challenge). In all fairness we did report this when we checked in as it didn't seem right. We were told to could freeze and to let it run at a warmer temp then turn it down. We did that and the fan started so we thought it worked. When we returned late last night that clearly didn't solve the issue but it was so late at night, and already being unpacked, and the hassle we had to try to switch rooms when we first checked in because of this concern wasn't worth it at midnight. *room was small and not as clean or well cared for as a property I would normally stay at. *we were forced to stay here or be out $228 and the property I was at the night before was nicer, cleaner, and -$60. Paying more this the quality of property was very frustrating especially when I didn't even want to be here. I share these details both because I am frustrated and but equally because I want to make a difference for the next person. *Please don't allow properties to charge you in full nearly a month in advance and the only notice you get is when you see the charge on your credit card statement. Then when you call and ask about the charge they then send you an email about their policy, 3 weeks after you booked. *please train your managers to call back a customer. 10 attempts and my only way to communicate with them was by calling guest services and they had to call them. Isn't that sad. In closing thank you for reading. I am unsure if you can help me at this point as we will be checking out soon, but I wanted you to know. Id never stay here again. Both our girls are Bw employees and this was our first time to use the employee discount. If this is the experience as a mom I would rather pay more and forgo the discount as it didn't save me in comparison to other hotels, but more over I'm frustrated with manager returned call. That bothers me the most then the fact I was charged with no notice. I shared this directly with the hotel and they didn't care as well as emailed BW guest services and they appear to not care either as NO reply. We also stayed at the Comfort Inn the night before, larger rooms, very clean, everything worked, well kept property, great location.
I have stayed at this Hotel in the past that is why was chose it again. It is close to my sons home and easy to get to downtown Cheyenne. Although, it seems that the pool was used mostly by the children of staff memebers.
The front desk people were very helpful and professional. The room was clean. Everything worked. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was a good selection and fresh. The worker kept everything refilled. The location is just off I80 and close to I25. I would stay there again and do recommend it to travelers. Restaurant's are an easy drive.
Great stop after many hours on the road. Rooms clean and quiet. Beds comfortable and great for a much needed night of sleep . Great showers and plenty of hot water . Dog friendly with path to walk around property and plenty of green spaces . Breakfast was nice and we left relaxed and well rested for another day of traveling .
great breakfast and super clean. Good mid line hotel. This one is great for a stop over- not very close to anything except a Caseys and subway. The clerk recommended T Joes Steak House about 5 miles away. It was good.
We came in for a night while moving to Alabama from reno nv. Our first room was hot, the fridge hummed loudly, and I couldn't get the TV to work. However, I didn't get her name but the gal working last night was awesome! She came up to try to get our stuff to work but decided to change our room instead. It was right a cross the hall so it was a quick trip!
The Best Western in Archer is a lovely inn set back from Interstate 80 but easily accessed from the highway. The hotel is very well kept, the staff are wonderful and friendly - typical Wyoming folk! The coffee was really good (sometimes, you don't get good coffee at a hotel . . .) and the breakfast was exemplary. The indoor pool and hot tub were a very nice addition. The room was nicely furnished, and the entire hotel had a pretty Western theme and lots of horse pictures, which is appropriate, because it is very close to the Archer eventing center.
Everyone theses days are short handed. They work very hard here. Very very friendly and so nice to the two dogs. Nice clean quiet room. I stayed 4 days. Plenty to do in Cheyenne. Nice pool an hot tub. Nice big dog park
Great place for stay. Pool was wonderful and a good temperature. Rooms comfortable and the staff was great. Our fur baby was very welcomed. There is a laundry room as well and complimentary snacks and water in the lobby. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy - also oatmeal available and fresh fruit with yogurt. Will definitely stay again!
Business trip to the area. Room, and other services were incredible. Coffee was great!!!!! Available 24/7! Breakfast could be a little better but staff was very helpful. Overall, it was excellent?I will be back!
They provided the best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff was outstanding and the cleanliness was spectacular. My family completely enjoyed all the great amenities they had to offer. Hot and delicious breakfast service.
I was traveling for business and driving cross-country. Well-seasoned travelers expect a certain baseline for most roadside motels, but this place exceeded all of my expectations! The bedding was luxurious, the shower pressure and sprayer was invigorating, and the breakfast in the morning was tasty! The staff was very pleasant and helpful without being overbearing. Truly a gem after a 14 hour day of driving.
"Susie" took great care of us when we showed up accidently at her location instead of the other Best Western in town that we actually had reservations with. She said it happened a lot and answered some questions I had. When we found out that the pool at her location was in operating condition we decided to stay here instead of our reserved location which was having "pool" troubles. We are very glad that we did. It was quiet, clean and quite pleasant. Susie made our stay exceptionally nice. We had our dog with us and were pleased to find out they were dog friendly as well. Not only was there a nice gift basket for us, there was an extra gift for our pup along with an endearing letter to our "Furry Guest" providing instructions and well wishes for her stay. It was a very nice touch. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in town visiting our family.
The shower was broken in my room. The cold water would randomly shut off during a shower and scalded me. No help from the staff. The breakfast was terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
We loved everything from the service to the comfy beds! The rooms were very clean! The breakfast was great! We loved the pancake maker❤️ the lady doing the breakfast was so sweet! We would definitely stay here again!
Large, comfortable rooms and a hot self-serve breakfast in the morning. Pool and hot tub looked pristine but we were too tired to enjoy it. Our bed in 101 had a sag in the middle, but otherwise the stay was fantastic.
The staff was fantastic. There were 2 high school basketball teams there in the morning for breakfast they all had plenty of food for everyone to eat plenty of space to kept the area clean and well stocked for other guests not only for the basketball teams. They made sure sidewalks amd parking areas we're cleaning a snow and ice to the best of their ability they were very concerned about your safety the rooms were very clean larger than I expected The beds beds were very comfortable I slept very well.
I would say this has been our favourite best western we have stayed at across America so far, the little added touches go a long way. From orange infused water in the lobby and the attention to detail the staff provides, we were more than pleased to stay and will be doing so again if we are ever in Cheyenne.
We needed to stop because we were crossing the country and were doing our best to find a hotel for the night that was safe, and had decent amenities. We were pleasantly surprised by the first contact. We made a phone reservation late in the day and we were quickly set up with a room and the check in was super fast along with our request for a ground floor room. The hotel decor was modern with a Cheyenne esthetic. We found everything we needed and the little touches like coffee, tea, and flavored water was super nice and they also had a section of welcome cookies. Our room was very nice and clean, the water water pressure was great, the king bed was huge and comfortable, and the heat and fan worked great, they have a fitness room and pool and a hot tub. My husband used the hot tub and it clean. There was no funky smell in any area of the hotel and in the room. What a surprise on our road trip. If you need a day or two this would be a great stop. The morning breakfast had great basics and a cool new touchless pancake maker which we thought was awesome. The staff were amazing and very nice and accommodating. And note there is a Pilot gas station across the street in case you need to fuel up before you leave. Right off I-80. We will be definitely putting this hotel in our notes for future trips. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards points those come in so handy.
After driving over 30 hours, I stopped in on a whim just to see if they offered an early check-in. Landon went out of his way to accommodate my ridiculous request and was able to have a room ready for me right when I arrived. I am eternally grateful for their hospitality, and advice on what to for the duration of my trip in Cheyenne. In addition, the room was lovely and clean, thanks Dawn :) For myself customer service is paramount, and they go above and beyond. Will definitely be returning here next time I'm in the area.
We have stayed here a few times in the last year. Very nice, comfortable rooms and beds. Never disappoints. Friendly staff. I look forward to staying here when we return to the area. Would definitely recommend.
Where do I begin? After a very long day of traveling, it was so nice to have our hotel conveniently located next to a gas station and in a quiet spot. Upon arrival, the front desk associate was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I've ever been in! It was so well cleaned and had the most comfortable beds and pillows. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in Cheyenne!
The place was clean, bedding wonderful, and we arrived 90 minutes before check in and Landon went out of his way to find us a room on the third floor that was ready to be checked into. Exceptional service.
The staff at this location will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Wonderful, friendly, smiling people at a clean well cared for motel. This is where I hang my hat every time I work around Cheyenne.
The hotel is a little dated but nothing to worry about. The air filters were clean and the room had been vacuumed properly. The Lady on the even desk was amazing! We asked about a local restaurant and she sent us to a favorite of hers. She was also able to help with all of our needs and questions. (Old people don't always remember everything!) Good value and quiet for the location and price.
Conveniently located right off the highway. Limited paved parking for oversized vehicles. There is a dirt lot adjacent to the hotel available for parking, but it was not visible from our room. Clean hotel. Pet friendly. Hot breakfast available.
I requested a handicapped room because I am disabled. The room was lovely and they even had a step stool with a handle! This helped me get into the bed as my legs are bad and I need that extra help. The rooms were clean. The staff was all wonderful. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again!
We were traveling with our puppy so pet friendly was very important to us. Speedy check in and check out. Nice friendly faces with smiles upon our arrival. Our puppy really appreciated her "Puppy Bag" at check in. At check out we appreciated our snack and water "TO GO".
We were passing through Cheyenne and weren't expecting much from our stay. However, this hotel exceeded our expectation. The friendliest staff, very fast wifi and a lovely breakfast. Would stay again.
problem with cleaning (first day = almost no cleaning and next day - no cleaning at all). when approach the front desk, at first she try to blame us (you left stuff on the bed?) and than she says: I'll let the manager know TOMORROW (after we left the hotel - what a joke)
The room was adequate and the beds were very comfortable. The location isn't great, out by the highway on the far eastern edge of town, but it's workable. They still don't have a regular breakfast service going -- a very overworked staff member has to retrieve your food for you, and the day we were there we came down at 8:30 a.m. and they were already out of oatmeal. Some staff wore masks. Others did not. Almost no guests wore masks in the lobby.
Hotel was clean, had nice rooms, well-run and the internet actually worked well which is rare for hotels. Breakfast was fine. The only drawback is that it's not near much of anything except I-80. We'd definitely stay there again.
We have stayed here several times and are pleased. Rooms are large, clean, and quiet. The only complaint I have is the poor internet service in the rooms. Beds are very comfortable. We will say here again.
We only stayed one night, but our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Check in was smooth and being a Diamond level rewards member we were upgraded to a larger room. It's nice when hotels recognize customer loyalty. Otherwise this hotel is a bit out of the way. being on the west end of Cheyenne. But its right off I80 so for most travelers it has very easy access. The complimentary breakfast was on the light side as some covid restrictions in Wy are still being observed.
It's an over priced hotel for what it is - breakfast was sub-par and rooms and amenities were just average at best. Nothing to do around the immediate area. If you can avoid this as a stop in your trip I would.
I stayed at several Best Westerns on a trip from the West Coast to the Midwest. This one was the most wanting. Ignoring the “funky” smell in the hallway and elevator, (I attributed it to the pool and poor ventilation). There was mold in the shower on the ceiling, the phone flashed “message” all evening, and when I called the desk, they told me to follow the prompts on the phone. Did that. Four times. No messages. Still a flashing light, fixed it, unplugged the phone. Little to no WIFI connection in my room, in the 21st Century there is no excuse for lousy wifi, ever. It seems to be a known problem, judging by the number of hotspot links that popped up. Please fix this, there's a thing called a booster. When the two bar connection on my phone (not their fault) out-performs the in-house wifi, it is time to upgrade. Breakfast was grim, I mean turkey sausage, and biscuits with canned gravy. Oatmeal that could double as wallpaper paste. I watched a guy eat four tiny tubs of peanut butter with a fork. That's how bad. I get it, COVID, but still not up to the standard of other Best Westerns on my trip. At $100 more than any other, I expected more from Cheyenne.
Called this hotel this past Sunday afternoon and reserved a room for Monday night. I was very clear about my request and the girl even repeated it to me. I arrived at 7:30pm only to be informed I had no reservation and the hotel was now sold out. Upon further investigation the girl informed me that my reservation was for the night before. Naturally, I knew this was a load of garbage because I've heard this story before....and so have my co-workers. You see, I'm a business traveler and my employer uses a hotel discount agency who negotiates our rates due to our loyal patronage. (I'm a Diamond Select member with BW Hotels) Like I said, I've had issues in the past, with several hotel chains, but never a BW. The most difficult part of this ordeal is....for the last year truckers and other business travelers ( ALL members of discount groups) have been treated like gold by these hotels because WE were the only customers they had. And now, I guess it's back to the norm. Thanks Best Western, Cheyenne, for reminding me that America's truckers are still second-class citizens (or maybe it's only when we're paying a discounted rate) Scott from TX
The check in was good and the front desk clerk was friendly. We stopped while traveling through Wyoming for the night. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental breakfast that was served to you. I would stay here again.
We were on a roadtrip vacation to Montana and this hotel was a fantastic stop that made me want to spend more time in Wyoming. The breakfast was also really good in the morning and got my family ready for the day on the road.
Very friendly staff and clean environment. Comfortable beds with nice size rooms. Great pool and hot tub even with children. Makeup towels in bathroom with a facial cleaning bar as well as shampoo conditioner and body wash provided with great water pressure.
Wonderful hotel with exceptionally clean rooms and great location. Just enough out of town to be quiet, but with easy access to all the amenities of town. Bed was comfortable and staff were very helpful and pleasant!
This hotel is very easy off/on from rte. 80, staff was knowledgeable and friendly, it was clean and comfortable (room, breakfast area, lobby). It's convenient for business and vacation travel in Cheyenne. I'll be coming back.
This is a wonderful place to stay would recommend it for everyone they made me feel very welcome. I will always stay here every time I'm in town on business. They need 5000 thousand stars and keep up the great work
Loved that I could bring my dog. Drove up from Denver for 2 nights with my dog and friend to get away (without flying). I had a King+ room. VERY nice. My friend had a king room. Lots of items for breakfast.
We appreciate the location of this hotel---just outside of town and handy to I-80, yet just minutes from multiple decent restaurants. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Check-in was quick and smooth. Our room was very clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Very nice shower and comfy bed, too. Will definitely be staying here on future visits to Cheyenne.
a little bit east of town off I-80. Great service. Breakfast room open for limited service and an attendant dishing out food rather than grab bags (which were also available). Very nice clean rooms. Good water pressure and hot water. Very high ceilings.
Traveling during Covid-19 was a breeze at this hotel. We felt comfortable, safe, and confident in the cleaning practices of the hotel. Most guests seen during breakfast time were truckers however there was one other family at the time we were there. We appreciated the hot breakfast that was served "to-go" style that included sausage, biscuits/gravy, eggs, and roasted potatoes. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit and coffee were also available to "grab and go." For a long haul road trip, this breakfast really hit the spot.
While we only spent one night at this hotel, they found a way, like all the other Best Western hotels to serve a hot breakfast each morning, I can't say the same for Choice Privileges Hotels. I commend Best Western for finding a way to take care of their customers during these strange days we are in. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and everything worked. If your in town and you desire a great Italian meal, go to Napoli's in downtown Cheyenne. Recommended to us by the young women who worked the front desk when we checked in . Checking in and out was easy. At first we thought we were a ways out of town, but hopping on the freeway gets you there in not time.
It is a very nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Commode would not flush, reported it. Sack breakfast. Due to Covid you only get one key, so keep up with it! I would stay here again. The last at the desk was very nice and made you feel welcomed. The indoor pool was opened, though we didn't use it. It did look inviting.
My wife and I stayed here July 4 & 5, 2020. Although this hotel is 2 exits from historic downtown Cheyenne, on I-80, the hotel is in a very quiet and safe area. The hotel, room, and bathroom were all very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. If I remember right, the room had a refrigerator with a freezer section. The room had multiple cowboy/Western pictures on the wall, staying in the motif of the Cheyenne/Old West area. We arrived around 9 PM and Tracy checked us in. Without me asking, she gave us an Elite member room upgrade. THAT is what I call great customer service. The next day, due to COVID-19, we asked about the grab-and-go offering. They had a choice of 2 hot items. I took the turkey dog wrapped in a pancake on a stick. It was quite good. In addition, they had 2 choices for each of 4 or 5 other categories of items. All I can say is that we stayed at 7 hotels during this road trip and this hotel had the BEST grab-and-go by far! But, honestly, I would have liked the hot breakfast. Oh, well. I'm sure we will be back in Cheyenne in the future and when we return this will be my go-to hotel of choice!
We were just in and out traveling through Cheyenne but were super happy with the hotel. The front desk staff was professional and friendly, the pool was open just long enough for us to unwind after a long drive, and the room was Very comfortable. I Highly recommend this hotel.
Check In went fine. Nothing notable good just average, No breakfast as advertised, Just a few junk food item to make you sick on your travel to the next location. Would not stay here again. Check out took for ever since nobody attended the desk.
I love the quiet location and the scenery. I really enjoy the best western brand. I do travel frequently for business with my friends and family. This location is definitely a great one to stay at if you come to Cheyenne, Wy.
My family and I stayed at the Frontier Inn on our way to Yellowstone National Park. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was great and polite. Convenient to I-80 and not too far from downtown Cheyenne. I would stay there again.
I was passing through the area for a business trip when I stayed at this hotel. I have stayed at this Best Western more than once and it is always a good review. It is always very clean and the staff is always very helpful. It is on the pricier side compared to my other Best Western stays.
Just the right place to stay after a busy day @ work after coming all the way from Canada. Very friendly staff and the best place to stay when you in the region. Well done staff and the management. All the very best and keep it up.
This hotel has very nice rooms, and a friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend it highly if you are looking for somewhere to stay when passing by. It is just off HWY80, and is used by many travellers, including long haul truckers.
Comfortable beds. Very clean. Tasty full breakfast with a nice variety of food. Nicely decorated in Wyoming western decor! Accommodating, pleasant personnel . We like Best Westerns. Reasonably priced as well. Stay here!
We stayed at this hotel before and liked it so much we wanted to stay here again. This is a great hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are very large and the beds are good. The only problem this time was the carpet was filthy and the desk chair was broken and very dangerous to sit on. So sad since we like this hotel so much. Will think twice before we come back.
Due to the weather we were snowed in here. This hotel is right off the interstate easy access to it, has great parking. The hotel itself is very clean, the front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, there was a large variety of good tasting food. We will definitely stay here again
The hotel was clean, modern and very comfortable. The pool was decent sized and deeper than a lot of hotel pools. They had a nice looking hot tub which was unfortunately empty for maintenance during our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of variety and was hot and fresh.
This hotel was very clean and I felt at home. The front desk lady was very nice and professional. Will definitely stay here again!! The rooms were very quiet and the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in a while.
The staff was amazing and sweet. It is a great and clean place to stay. The breakfast bar had a ton of variety and was excellent and included with your stay. Loved the cute little decorations. Linen was a 5 star hotel quality linen. Loved the shampoo and conditioner brand. Bathroom was spotless
Room was clean. Bed was firm. Got a good sleep. Easy access to freeway. Only problem was the slow response time at the front desk. Needs to be better manned, rather than relying so heavily on the Bell.
Interstate closed for 2 days, so we were there for 2 nights, Staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. Sidewalks were kept free of blowing snow, so we could take dog outside. Most of the guest there the 2 nights we were there were traveling home from Thanksgiving holiday, Interstate was shut down, your Staff were great.
Everything about this place was great. The checking in, checking out, staff, cleanliness, room, quiet, and food. I would recommend this place to anyone who is just stopping for a night or few nights. It is a great place. Location is easy to access, but not completely in an excellent location. It was all good though.
The guest rooms were well cared for and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the pool. The general manager was working the front desk when I arrived and she went out of her way looking up information about local sites and where I could get a map of the big boots.
Found a last minute deal online while traveling via the I80. The hotel was nicer than I'd imagined. Breakfast had salsa heated in a little crock pot and biscuits and gravy at the buffet. It was a well put together complimentary breakfast buffet. Friendliest staff in all areas from front desk to housekeeping. They allow dogs as well. Nice pool and hot tub. Book direct for best last minute deals! Beds! Super comfy!
Wonderful staff and a nice hotel! I don't have much else to say but flipping Trip Advisor loves to waist my time by making me type 200 characters. I am still short forty characters at this point so I will keep typing!
The hotel is east of Cheyenne on I-80. It is fairly new and is near gas stations and truck stops. The hotel does have an elevator. The room was very nice and clean and the bathroom was well supplied with towels. The internet worked well. There is a refrigerator but no freezer compartment. There was a second chair which was nice. The truck traffic was a bit noisy until we turned on the HVAC window unit fan and that really helped. The tub was not flat on the bottom - was curved and so a bit slippery - so use the safety bar. Breakfast was the usual eggs & biscuits and gravy. There was some fresh fruit - apples and oranges. The blue berry muffin was very good.
Just stayed at the Cheyenne Best western. Overall a fun and easy experience. All staff was helpful and friendly. Minor issues with breakfast bar not being full but situation was handled. Guest's that were checked in also were friendly and nice. Overall a pleasant experience and will be visiting again.
We actually stayed in Cheyenne because the hotel prices for the same weekend in Laramie were double the cost of normal because there was a home football game. We decided to check the cost in Cheyenne, and it was definitely worth the drive to save the money.
I booked my reservation for two rooms with two queen beds each directly with the hotel. At the time I booked, I told the clerk it was necessary for the rooms to be adjoining or right next to each other as I was traveling with my daughter and two grandchildren. I also requested the highest floor with the rooms not backing the freeway. After driving almost 1,000 miles we arrived at the hotel at approximately 9:30 pm. I asked about my requests and the clerk (Jeff) told me we were the last guests to check in so there was no chance of getting adjoining rooms or even rooms that were anywhere close to each other. And lucky us, we got rooms backing the freeway. If it hadn't been so late and we hadn't all been so exhausted, we would have looked for another hotel. I was assured when I made the reservation that the rooms would be assigned early on the day of arrival and I need not worry. The clerk I spoke to the next morning basically told me the same thing, but it was too late to make our stay what it should have been. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. A bus load of people showed up for breakfast, and there was only one person to assist them all and replenish all the food and drinks. I felt so sorry for her but she did her best and actually I think most people were happy with their breakfast as were we. I will never stay at this hotel again when I am in Cheyenne. All of our requests were honored by other hotels during our trip. Crummy customer service at this Best Western.
The room was nice, clean, and well stocked. The employees were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the breakfast also! The shower was not fancy but very clean and the water was super hot. Overall a great stay and would definitely come back again.
We booked our room while we were on the road. We usually stay at Hampton or Courtyard. This Best Western was great. We would stay here again. The staff was very welcoming. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.
Everyone at the checkin desk was so friendly and helpful. The provided menus for restaurants that delivered and picked a great one called Little Philly. Fabulous sandwiches with amazing prices. The room had a couch and it was spotlessly clean. We'll stay here again.
We stopped for the night on our way to Mt. Rushmore. The staff was very nice, even called our room to tell us they had fresh baked warm cookies in the lobby. Our room was very clean and that is what means everything to have a clean room.
At first, I was a bit disappointed that the hotel wasn't in Cheyenne (downtown area), but once I realized it was an easy 10 minute drive the location wasn't an issue. It's located right off I-80, but far enough away so you don't hear traffic noise. The hotel itself seems quite new. It is 3 floors and has an indoor pool and plenty of parking. My room was large and included a fridge/freezer, microwave, writing desk, two queen beds, large flat panel television, dresser, closet, safe and a large, modern bathroom. The common areas are kept immaculate. The staff was exceptionally professional and most pleasant. The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star rating is because I felt the breakfast needed improvement (ie: more healthy options such as bananas, oatmeal, granola and whole grain breads would have been nice) - and running out of yogurt by 8:30 on a Sunday morning was disappointing. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the three nights I spent here - after a day out exploring, it was nice to come ‘home' to such a pleasant environment.
Very nice hotel outside of Cheyenne Best Western Plus always has clean rooms with a decient breakfast a little higher price but worth it! I wlii continue to use them in the future Wish it was a little closer to town!
The Best Western is a nice hotel. Located near the interstate. Priced right and quiet. We were greeted by a friendly Lady who helped us with our room. She gave us their last room after I goofed up my reservation online. Best Western and the Cheyenne Best Western gave me a refund on my mistake. That's good customer service. Room was clean and very nice. Comfy beds. Nice selection at breakfast. The sausage links were the best that I had in any hotel stay.
Prompt friendly service. Clean pleasant quiet room. No surprises. Good breakfast presentation. Very conveniently located yet quiet and peaceful. Excellent overall experience! Have used this hotel before and would not hesitate to recommend and visit again in the future.
Was very happy with this property. It was clean, comfortable, had a great breakfast. There are 2 things that were wrong, 1 being the refrigerator being broken on top and 2 the safe was sitting loose on the floor of the closet. The Staff was helpful. And a great location for southeast Cheyenne. We are keeping this Motel on our list of places to stay again.
Tried to check in one hour past check in time and the room was not ready. Waited about 20 minutes. Once in the room, noticed that there was soap from the previous guest in the shower. It appeared that the shower had not been cleaned. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they told me they would give me a discount, but that did not happen. I've never been fond of Best Western hotels, and this has verified my feelings.
I wont ever go to another motel/hotel. This is a beautiful experience the jacuzzi and pool are awesome. Omg and the food I diddnt want to leave but i remembered i had a family so yea. This should be on everyones roadtrip scedule
Very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was good and location worked well. Hotel in nice condition. The Acoustics in hot tub area are very good if you love to sing but normally don't sound too great!
We didn't appreciate at all the way the staff faced some problems: first of all in the evening (about 10 p.m.) we discovered that the toilet (WC) didn't drain at all; when we informed the receptionist, we were given a device to try to solve the problem by ourselves (!!!) saying that the maintenance service wasn't available at that moment. Technical problems can happen of course, but it's the way you try to solve them that makes the difference. Anyway, we didn't solve the problem, of course, and we asked to change the room. After some time, we were given a new bedroom which had only a Queen size bed and a sofa bed (instead of 2 queen size beds, as we're 3 people). They told us that the sofa bed was ready, and when we discovered it wasn't, we were given sheets and blankets to do it by ourselves: self maintenance and self making the bed! Perfect service! Besides, the sofa bed was very unconfortable but there was no solution for that. The following morning we had a new surprise: because of an "unespected emergency", the full hot breakfast was not available!!!! No orange juice, no eggs, no bacon, no yoghurt, coffee only if required.. No words, no explanations, only a notice written on the counter were usually eggs are. Once again the wrong way to face the problem. We don't discuss about the emergency becaus it can happen, but a real person with some explanations and a smile would have been appreciated. But of course the real person at the reception was present at the moment of the check out, without apologies but ready to receive the payment. No reaction when we informed her about the several problems. Of course we have paid. When the usual mail from BW arrived, asking about our staying, we answered explaining exactly what had happened, the General Manager wrote back with the proposal of extra bonus points on our Best Western Rewards Membership (!!!). Never again!!!
Hotel seemed a little out of the way but once we arrived we were told all the restaurants you could think of were just one exit away. Which was true. We drove I-80 toward downtown Cheyenne and next exit did have many restaurants of all kinds. We were going to the Cheyenne Depot Museum the next day and it wasn't too far away about 7 miles. Room was comfortable and location seemed fairly quiet. Nice stay.
Have stayed here on previous trips and enjoyed the experience. Will stay here again when traveling through. The shower only room was exceptional. Would prefer this on every reservation. The breakfast was excellent.
We enjoyed our stay here; the rooms were quiet though the curtains let a little more light than we are used to (nothing a sleep mask wouldn't solve). The breakfast was standard fare for Best Western and was perfectly good. It's a bit outside of downtown Cheyenne but a reasonable drive to get downtown and back. Would stay here again!
Nice place to stay. The Breakfast is nice - not too crowded for the space provided. The selection is what you'd expect and its reasonably presented and makes sense. The room was nice, clean, and there were enough TV channels to satisfy.
THis hotel is out of town, near freeway and not within walking distance to downtown Cheyenne. The room was comfortable and functional. No frills but fine. Good counter space in bathroom. Water & snacks provided upon arrival if you sign up for membership.
I had a great stay at the Best Western Plus Frontier Inn. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was above average with plenty of options. Will stay again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We stayed for on night on a cross country trip. The hotel staff was welcoming, the room and bed were comfortable, and the breakfast was on par with similar hotels. The location is convenient to the Interstate and to many restaurants. We would stay here again.
We were on a 10 day road. Stayed at 5 different best western properties on this trip. This was slowest to check in, the only property that did acknowledge that I was a rewards member. I have never received a receipt from this stay. Lots of places to stay, avoid this one
Of my 18 days road trip this was by far the worst BW property and very poor value. I realize that it was during Cheyenne Frontier Day, but the service was BAD. We checked in for a 4 night stay, at 3pm and there were 3 women behind the desk, but only one was servicing customers, and there were 2 men under the desk area fixing something. AS a Platinum member I was offered a gift bag which included a bag of peanuts and Funyun but no water like all the other BW. While waiting to be checked in, one of the employee mention to guests that they were offering free shuttle to Frontier park but the time and sign up sheet was not ready and to call the front desk later. Really, in my opinion this should have been all set to go. If you are going offer such service, please execute it right or don't offer, especially since the possible time would start around 5pm, just 2 hour and not ready. We signed up for 6pm departure and return at 11pm, YES dummy me! When we showed up at 6pm there were 13 guest for 11 seats. While at the concert I got a call to change our return to 10pm otherwise we could Uber it back, so we missed the Lady Antebellum portion of the concert. Day 2, after we returned from the rodeo our room was not cleaned, when I called the front dest, I was told that the "Do Not Disturb" sign was placed on our door. When told her that we did not have that, she insinuated that someone did, "so confrontational", I just said this was unacceptable. They did send someone to clean the room. Note: 2 rooms next to ours had the do not disturb sign!!! They offer free beer and snacks in the afternoon, well we don't drink so instead of offering the snacks and beer, just give the guess the best service and a good price point, not be over priced just because it is Frontier day. The TV would go off for a length of time, and no internet at times too! The shower drain was slow to drain from the second floor. On the last day, at check out I stood in line because I did not want to take a chance if there was any error. Four guest deep and the receptionist is trying to split a bill for 2 female guest, and she can't do it!!!! She spent a good 7 minutes or more, than tells the guest she cannot do it, and she will have the manager fix it when she gets in!!! OMG! This is either under new management OR they need a new manager. They really lack customer service. Also note that this BW is located about a 15 plus minute from Frontier Park, and there is nothing around this location. If you are planning to go to Cheyenne Frontier Day try to find a location closer to town and maybe on or near Hwy 25, as it will be so easy to use the park and ride service , which we found out after our first day.
The Best Western Plus Frontier Inn was very comfortable! The rooms were nice and the breakfast was very good. Staff was very kind and they even sponsored a happy during Frontier Days. The room was a little pricey for the time we were there, but I do realize it was Cheyenne Frontier Days, and I am sure the hotels were all sold out.
Warm, comfortable, and friendly. Will stay here again when in the area. The bed was so comfortable that we actually got a good night's rest. I need to find out who the mattress is made by (I want one!).
Hubby and I was on way back from Yellowstone and decided to pull in since we were both tired...saw the best western sign so we usually have good luck with best westerns but this one was a complete letdown...first off it was extremely high priced..but we were tired so paid it..the lady at counter was nice so cant complain about that but she gave us a list of restaurants that deliver and bragged up a certain one named mr.jims as being the best pizza place so we went to room.they said about 45 mins so we changed and went to the pool.hoping for a dip...but pool water was almost as warm as a bath..terrible to put it mildly..I know it's a heated pool but it was crazy warm..hot tub was full so we went back to room...at first glance the room looked clean but there were huge crumbs next to bed and some under table..our room also had a scrap of wadded up paper under vanity so I'm wondering if it's the same as another person wrote about...shabby cleaning skills for a almost $200.00 a night room..also the toilet is close to shower and toilet paper is over by vanity.i had to strain to reach it..that's terrible..the bed was comfy and I hope the sheets were changed...I guess when u see so many crumbs and scraps of paper it makes u wonder..they really need to lay off the heat in pool..or call it a sauna....sorry best western...it sure disappointed us and so did the horrible pizza...it was bad....
Although this hotel is about 8 miles from Cheyenne Frontier Days events, they offered shuttle service to/from multiple times a day and night. This was greatly appreciated. The hotel was immaculate and the best beds and pillows ever. Friendly and welcoming staff. We will definitely stay here again. My dad was always a Best Western fan back in the 60's/70's, and I know why.
We have stayed here before and were pleased. This stay was also good. Very friendly front desk staff, clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was very good, a bonus for me was the green chile to pour over my scrambled eggs, something you don't see often.
I will begin with a positive--this hotel is close to the interstate making going places in and around Cheyenne very easy. That being said...even at checking in we knew there would be issues. the price quoted was not what we got charged--$30/night higher. Since we didn't have a printed acknowledgement, we said okay. That and the staff lady was very blunt and rude (in my opinion). The room looked okay, typical, but under the bathroom cabinet the floor hadn't been swept and there was a bit of trash under there, which remained even after housekeeping the next day. This goes for a bit behind the toilet, too. The tub had a bit of mildew on the side and when I went to use a new towel there was a glob of hair in it.The comforter on the bed was put on upside down. The curtains were so long that the air conditioner couldn't cool down the room when the curtain was shut. Breakfast was not even up to standards for a typical "free breakfast". The fat free milk was nearly sour both days. The best part about the meal was the orange juice. I would not recommend this hotel to any one. And if this was my only choice in Cheyenne, I'd drive 45 miles and stay in Laramie. Sorry--not good at all.
Great place! The lady that checked us in was upbeat, which was saying something since it was late! Room was nice and clean. There were a few aesthetic things that could be revamped but nothing that took away from our stay! The bed was a little hard for our liking but we still slept well!
I want to point out that they did try to remedy this with a very small discount. I read all the reviews and thought this hotel was going to be a sure thing. I want people to have this information so they can make an informed decision on staying here. When we arrived after a 15 hour drive we found something in our sheets. I called the front desk to have the sheets replaced. They offered to have them ready for me to pick up. *stare* really???? No, you can bring them to me. Ok, do you need a top or fitted? *stare again* um, both, the sheets are dirty. So she brings me a set and hands them to me. I guess I'll change the sheets....just what I want to do. Did I mention we'd been on the road for 15 hours. At least it gave me a good look over the mattress for bugs. I didn't find any. The refrigerator in the room was so loud. It kept going on and off. In hindsight I should have unplugged it. The attached photos show the sheet, and the disrepair of the bathroom. The tub sagged in the center so anyone with balance issues may want to reconsider showering there. I didn't take a picture of the watery eggs. Needless to say, we canceled our reservations for our return trip.
My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to California and this was a great stopover. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We paid a fair price. We got great service from everyone we encountered. The hotel is easily accessible from I-80 at Exit 367. We would definitely stay here again
Decent hotel. Same breakfast of scrambled eggs and links. it is just fine. The bathroom toilet kept running on but we shut the door and it was not bothersome. Not much to do around this place, so it is a one-night passing through kind of location.
Location is a fair way out from the city, not too difficult to find. The hotel itself is good. Easy quick checkin, Nice clean comfortable room with good bed. Pool very good. A good breakfast served in the morning.
Best Western is well run with good quality accomdation. Location is good for Downtown Cheyanne but not too inspiring for an evening stroll. Breakfast was fine with hardest working (and friendly) staff.
Coming home from long drive across wyoming and got tired of driving Called in advanced, got a room enjoyed the quiet and the rest No problems! Once again this is i stay at b/w A known quality while travelling
The hotel is a little bit out of town but that wasn't a big problem. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and plenty of parking. Breakfast was a bit limited but did the job. Wifi was fast and connected first time. I didn;t use any of the facilities. Would stay here again when travelling through.
Room very nice, Pet fee reasonable. Amenities good, room size great, Other people on floor also had pets but all was very quiet. Cost was a bit prohibitive for someone of my age. Breakfastroom nice size, food good, but could be hotter.
I like staying at the Best Western in Cheyenne Wyoming. It is affordable, and it is a beautiful hotel. The staff are friendly and it is only several blocks from my work, so very convenient. The breakfast is always tasty (green chili for the eggs). I will definitely stay there any time I'm in Cheyenne.
We had a reservation and arrived ready to rest. Our first room had a pizza box and beverages in there so it was not clean. The next room would not let us in with the keys. I tried the front desk again, still did not work. Fourth time to the desk and they had to reprogram the lock. After all that, the room was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was decent but do not even look at the oatmeal. Checkout was terrible. I rang the bell four times, a little louder each time because no one was at the desk. Finally the gal showed up from outside with cigarettes in hand... She was on a smoke break at a time when guests would be leaving and left the desk unmanned. Several 18 wheel trucks were parked near here and appeared to be staying here. The hotel is right across the street from a gas station/truck area/ Subway eatery. There is not much else nearby. So I would recommend a different location to others after all this. For my troubles at check in, you would think some complimentary reward points would be given. No offer made.
We're not the type to complain about anything or especially about small things concentrating on the positive and resting on our journey. This BW is short staffed and in transition so they deserve some degree of exception but I truly couldn't believe the hard time we received from the new employee at the front desk! Reservations were made through BW having received the reservation number. This person wouldn't accept or even look at our information even after pleading with her several times. Couldn't find our reservation, wouldnt respond or listen to communicate and didn't know policies of this BW. Thankfully, Michael stepped in to smooth out the process at the front desk and also added help with the continuance of our journey. Micheal and the management seem top notch and the breakfast was fair along with breakfast staff.
Do not stay here they tell you one price and charge you a higher price and the manager will not fix the problem. I have called and left several messages for the manager with no call back. When I went to the first room they gave me someone was already in the room.
Check in was a bit slow to an influx of snowbound travelers. However, the gentleman working the desk was efficient and friendly. My room was very nicely decorated and no maintenance issues. Very good water pressure and thick towels. The bed was extremely soft (just how I like it) but firm enough to not cause back pain upon waking. Mike from maintenance helped me get my cat from underneath the bed and cleaned the snow from my car.
Hubby and I were traveling back home when we had to stop in Cheyenne due to I-80 being shut down. We prefer staying with Best Western Plus because we travel with our dogs and they're always clean and accommodating. Our stay was pleasant and the bed was cozy. The staff here was very friendly. We'd like to give a special thanks to Michael. My hubby was eating breakfast and accidentally left his phone behind and Michael turned it in. Thank you Michael, we appreciate your honesty. If we're in Cheyenne, we'll definitely stay here again.
We were driving from the PNW to Texas. This was our second stop. Cheyenne sucks. The hotel was a nice refuge. I requested a King and got two queens, it worked fine. We were travelling with our three cat kids, so it gave room for all of them to sleep too. The tatted dude behind the desk was very cool, helpful, but a little too cool for us. Breakfast was pretty decent. Cute heart waffle maker. This was the most expensive hotel. In Cheyenne. Because I think they know, your choices are limited. Because the only people who visit Cheyenne are probably doing so while driving across the country or for business. Still, $60 more then the hotel in Twin Falls or Wichita is pretty cheeky.
This hotel was nice- clean and comfortable. Bed and bedding very nice and comfy. The only thing wrong and why it didn't rate a 5 is that it is very far out of Cheyenne. It is next to the interstate ( but very quiet!) and a truck stop. It is located in an industrial area, and not close to anything. It is easy to get to, it's just farther out than I thought. The hot tub was ok.. but we couldn't figure out how to turn it on, so no bubbles.
Stayed here on our way north for the sumer and booked this Best Western. It was a ways out of Cheyenne but the place looked almost new. There was some construction going on they were replacing the shingles as I went in to check in my wife noted there were shingle nails on the drive. We picked up what we could see so no one would get a flat and mentioned it to the front deck. The front desk gals were very friendly and helpful also suggested a steak house down the road which was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows. Breakfast was good and would stay here again.
Nice and Clean hotel. Bed was comfy and lots of pillows. Hot tub was amazing. Breakfast, what there was for food was good. I guess they were having appliance issues so there wasn't much to eat in the way of hot foods. I love Best Western's so was a little disappointed with that, but you can't help technology....
I stopped there when I was traveling for work to Colorado, it's outside of town a little so most of the people there were on business (which is nice because everyone is quiet and sleeping by 10ish) the staff was nice, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, it allows for pets, and the breakfast had ‘Southwest' fixings in addition to their other regular items. I'll stay there again over the other hotels in Cheyenne.
When we arrived it was late and we were extremely road weary. I had to wait at least 15 minutes at the counter before someone showed up. When the attendant showed up, he was apologetic but he was sweating like crazy -- it was weird. The entire motel was at least 78 degrees. Our room heater was not working and was set at 78 degrees. We had to finally unplug the unit and open the window to get the room cooled down.Provide a clean room. It was filthy with food on the carpet from previous guest, long black hairs on 2 of the bed pillows and the bathroom counter had not been cleaned at all -- there were crumbs and coffee stains on the bathroom counter. I don't care what the outside of the motel looks like or how fancy the lobby is decorated -- if my room is dirty it is disgusting.
Great place to stay check in was quick room was clean bed was very comfortable breakfast was average check out was quick internet was very good did not use the pool but walked by it looked really nice & lit up great hotel to stay at for the price
I spend several weeks a year at this location; they are super nice, helpful, the Breakfast is great, rooms are very comfortable, TV's are nice...you won't be disappointed! Parking is easy for large vehicles and the lot is well lit.
This property is clean, comfortable beds, good WiFi service and a hot breakfast, big room, big screen TV. We didn't stay long but the front desk provided a couple of places to eat while we were there...and they were good. We will stay again.
I don't usually review brief overnights on the road. I don't think it's fair to comment on stays that generally amount to a few hours and mostly asleep. I've been a fan of Best Westerns since I was a kid. I'm sad they changed their logo...it was a familiar sight for me during family road trips.Sure, there are ups and downs with all motel chains. BW is pretty darn consistent. Point in fact, the BW Frontier Inn in Cheyenne was way better than expected. Easy, friendly check in. Fabulous clean, above standard amenities. Bed was comfy. Towels fluffy and fresh. Nice toiletries. Hot water pressure very good. It's like this: a motel on I-80 in the midwest doesn't have to be fantastic because it's any port in the storm when you're driving across country. But Frontier Inn went beyond the norm. Management must really like being in the lodging business...they take care of their clients like they were family. Breakfast was fabulous. I want that pork chile recipe.
My family and I had a great stay while traveling through to Utah. Lots of parking, we saw many trailers in the parking lot which was great. The beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. The breakfast was actually awesome compared to many I've had and the attendants were wonderful and super helpful. I highly recommend staying here!
Their breakfast bar was out of this world. We ran out of coffee in the pot. It was replaced before I could get worried. The service professional was on top of everything. He told us about the area and made sure we had everything we wanted/needed.
We stayed at the BW Frontier in early September 2018. We arrived at 4 PM. LeKeith at Check In was ready for us. He was pleasant, efficient and professional all accomplished with a pleasant smile. Later he gave us some good ideas for dinner. The following morning, the breakfast was well prepared, plentiful and hot. Chris met greeted us as we arrived and pointed out the location of usually hard to find items. Once again, smiling, efficient, and professional. The room was clean, updated and very nice. Tina, Housekeeping, had done her job In an excellent fashion. This was our first stop of a 10 day vacation through National Parks and Monuments in Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. It was a great start. Thanks to the personnel at the BW Frontier, Cheyenne, WY.
The staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was awesome. Warm cookies, coffee and tea 24/7 at the front lobby, laundry room, pool, hot tub. What more can you ask for. If you have to leave your home you might as well stay somewhere that makes you feel like your at home.
Great hotel and staff rooms were clean and comfortable allowed my dog pool and spa were wonderful as well. Hotel very clean. They charge 20 per night per dog but was worth it to have him with us. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Cheyenne, Wyoming on our way to visit family. We lived the location because it was easy to find. Staff members were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast selection was good the the breakfast staff was most accommodating. We will stay again!
This is a beautiful well-cared for property, just off I-80. Friendly staff. No issues at all. Will definitely stay here again. It is on the East edge of Cheyenne, about a 3 miles drive to get to the old part of Cheyenne of you want to sight see.
Our stay at this Best Western Plus Frontier was very nice. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel, lounge and breakfast room and guest room were neat, clean and well kept. The location was convenient to highways and other town necessities.
All BWs we stay at are fantastic rooms, facilities and breakfasts. This particular BW was a little extra over the top. While eating a great breakfast with green Chile sauce, yum...Chris the breakfast attendant, took excellent care of an elderly man in a scooter chair. Chris even wiped down the chair after the man spilled coffee on it, and shined it up a bit extra! It's that kind if service we experience at BWs and what we will continue to come back to.
nice and clean, very comfortable staying, close to everything and good breakfast pool and gym is handy as well , nice and convenient .we had just a short stay . we wish to stay a little longer but we had to heat the road
The hotel is located a distance from town but very convenient to the interstate. However the interstate is being repaired and travel can be difficult. However the hotel is great. Quiet with all the items needed in the room. Good continental breakfast. Friendly and courteous service. Disappointed that many things are closing intown getting ready for winter. But the hotel as great.
What a difference a day makes. Unlike our stay at the roach motel in Alamosa, Colorado, where I felt I needed a biohazard suit, this place has it all. Has a new appearance and is fresh and clean. Quiet comfortable room with all the amenities. The staff is courteous and highly attentive. The breakfast is unlike most hotel breakfasts with so many good choices. You simply must try this place out. It's just awesome!
Room was very clean. Hotel is by the interstate so if the noise bothers you you might want a room on the opposite side. The interstate traffic did not bother me or my wife. Breakfast was good. Chris who is in charge of breakfast in the morning is very personable. Mike the maintenance man was wonderful when he had to come in after hours to fix our TV. Ladies at front desk were very nice. Gas station and subway are right across the street. Very convenient. This is a pet friendly hotel.
Traveling with a bus tour, we stayed one night at the Best Western Plus Frontier Inn. The room was very nice, the entire hotel was clean and neat, mattresses and pillows in good shape. We had a good night's sleep. Our luggage was delivered to our rooms but that may have been because of the bus tour. In our room was a small bag of goodies: a pkg of gum, a small pkg of cookies and one other item, can't remember, may have been a granola bar. Also two bottles of water. That was much appreciated. Can't say I got to sample the cookies. The cookie bar was empty when we got there. But the breakfast, the next morning was very good. Lots of choices, including several hot items. the staff were very helpful and friendly. Management should be proud of this hotel and its staff. It is modern and up to date. I highly recommend this hotel.
This was a nice place to stay, right off interstate and not too far from town. It was on the outskirts but was a nice 10 minute drive from everything. Not a lot of traffic and easy to get to restaurants and things to see. I thought it was quiet there even though they were working on the interstate right there, you didn't hear any noise.
After an argument with the front desk over the fact that we were a Best Rewards Member and we did not book through a third party and they had a coughing fit and couldn't talk (they need to quit smoking) we were upgraded to a larger room. The regular rooms are very small especially the 2 Queen bed rooms. Pool was very nice and warm. Breakfast was good and had great bacon.
I always stay here when I am in town for business, just a bit outside of down town but not far enough to make a difference. great breakfast. easy access from interstate, but not so close you hear trucks all night.
Check-in was painless. The room was clean and well organized. If I hadn't overheard a conversation during breakfast, I would have sworn this was a new hotel. Beds were comfortable, no noise issues, WiFi worked fine. It's been about 15 years since I thought of Best Western as a solid hotel option, but I was impressed. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman running the breakfast area, but he was amazing. We stayed at 7 different locations and that role is so vital to the customer experience. It's the last significant interaction you have with the hotel. Most of the breakfast staff we encountered seemed unhappy. But the service at this hotel was great and a perfect way to start our vacation.
We stayed at this Best Western on our way to Colorado. Lovely rooms, great and friendly staff. We had dinner at Wasabi Japanese Grill & Bar in town which was totally awesome too! We had a great time! I also find that if I book the hotel on their actual website, I can get a better deal.
This hotel was full of pleasant little surprises. I will absolutely be staying here for every trip to Cheyenne. The amenities were on point. You have to have the green chili at breakfast, it was restaurant quality. The staff was friendly, the beds were comfy, and we truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. If you're in Cheyenne, don't hesitate to stay here, you won't be disappointed.
Passing through Cheyenne and we experienced car trouble which caused us to stay in Cheyenne for several days. We were exhausted and the hotel desk clerk was extremely kind and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable and the cleaning staff was always available if we needed anything. Breakfast was delicious and the kitchen/dining area manager was terrific. He takes great pride in his work. We can't say enough about how well every one of the hotel staff took care of us. In fact, we found kind and helpful people throughout the entire city of Cheyenne and we appreciate each and every one of them.
We stopped here on our way home to California. The location was great, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was the usual hotel offerings, eggs, sausages, breads, waffles, but sufficient enough for our trip. Stayed on the third floor which was pretty quiet. Would most definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for one night while on 2 week vacation through the Midwest. The rooms were nice. However, the free breakfast was outstanding. The attendant kept everything stocked and asked everyone if they had what they wanted. He helped our niece figure out the waffle maker and provided chocolate chips too. Great service!
Very nice hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel chain I normally stayed in was full so this one was a little outside of town and available and turned out to be a quiet and very clean place to stay. Evening receptionist was very nice and recommended a good steak place just down the road which was also good
We've been on a cross-country driving trip for nearly 2 weeks and have stayed in BW properties wherever possible. The Frontier Inn is one of, if not the, nicest BW we've been in. The little extras make it stand out from the others. E.g., 2 bottles of water awaiting us at check in, the largest bathroom of any, one of the most efficient AC units we've encountered, a hairdryer (unlike the last two we stayed in), an extra bar of soap. BW's lamps with the outlets in the base are also very appreciated for charging devices and electrical appliances like CPAP machines.
We stopped at this motel on our way home from vacation and were very happy with it! We got a great room with cold air conditioning and a soft bed! The breakfast was also very good. I would recommend this motel to anyone!
As others have mentioned this hotel is close to the interstate and on the eastern edge of town. It's pretty quiet considering the closeness of the interstate but you can still hear some road noise at times. The room was modern, spacious and clean. There is plenty of parking available. It's a ten minute drive into town for food but there is a gas station opposite that has a Subway too.
Hotel was nice and staff great especially breakfast. Very good and employee was so helpful and personable. I would give hotel 5 stRzsif it had swimming pool with saline solution. it's dog friendly. Yes that is really nice
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very clean, spacious, and the help was great. I would stay here again. The bed was comfortable and I loved the sheets. A friend of mine had stayed there before and he recommended it and he was correct, it was well worth the stay and price.
We try to stay at a Best Western Hotel everytime we travel. Of all the hotels that we have stayed, we find the Best Western Hotels to be the best to stay in when traveling. We have never had any problems. The staff members have always been very pleasant. The rooms have always been satisfactory and breakfast always good. And also very important to us, they except pets.
The staff at this location were all very friendly! The breakfast was above average continental breakfast and the breakfast attendant was attentive and personable. The cookies in the lobby at check-in were a nice bonus. The room was clean and modernized and the overall experience was smooth for us on our quick pit stop through Cheyenne. The only downside with the hotel is the location; the hotel is located outside of the city center and in a more industrial area.
Stayed here while traveling north. The motel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast, had to leave too early. It is a bit out of the way, away from restaurants, on the east end of town.
Everyone here was easy to talk with and very friendly. The location is perfect and the person who checked us in was helpful in finding us a restaurant to eat at. Also the breakfast was very good and it was nice and warm. I highly recommend this Best Western!
Inn is right off the highway . It is clean and I really loved that the laundry room is on the second floor. The dog area has a lot to be desired but we managed. They had warm cookies upon check in which was nice and added to the comfort of staying. It wasn't too noisy even though we were close to the highway.
This hotel is clean and modern. The desk person greeted us warmly, and upgraded our room. She gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner. The hotel is pleasantly quiet, being set back a ways from the interstate.
My wife and I decided to stay here during our cross country trip from Massachusetts to California and we were definitely impressed with this hotel. The hotel was immaculate. The staff was amazing. The room was huge and spacious. We were given a complimentary upgrade because it was a special occasion and for the fact that I'm a Diamond Select Member. Sharon was a delight, as well. Anything we asked her, she delivered and exceeded our expectations. She was friendly and knowledgeable and this hotel wouldn't be the same without her. And the hotel is easily accessible from I-80 at Exit 367. We will definitely return again and again.
Hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Pool wasn't working during the stay. Just made it in time from Colorado because high winds shut down the interstate. Had a cookie on arrival! Breakfast is available. Hotel is a couple miles from the downtown area but easily reached within about 8 to 10 minutes. Would stay again.
Great place to stay and very convenient. Staff was very welcoming and couldn't have been nicer. Great with pets and even have treats for them! Very clean and comfortable. Quite, which is always a big plus.
Our stay was great. The only negative was that the pool was closed and we had been telling our 3 year old daughter all day that she could swim when we get to our destination. Overall, it was nice and we would stay again.
We had a very good experience. Convenient location, exceptionally friendly and competent staff, up to date rooms and first rate Internet access. The breakfast was excellent and a cut above other BW locations we have visited. BW has fine tuned their checkin-checkout process and it worked very well for us. The heating/cooling unit in our room was cranky, but the temp outside was in the 20's, so we were happy with what we had.
Sharon at the front desk is extremely polite and willing to go above and beyond what is expected. Chris, in the kitchen, is so friendly, kind, and courteous. If you want something that isn't out, all you have to do is ask, and he's got it for you. The complementary breakfast is hands down the best I've had from any hotel. The entire staff is wonderful, but Sharon and Chris really went out of their way for us. Thank you
The staff was very pleasant. The food services guy (free Breakfast) was very conscientious. The food was good, the breakfast area immaculately clean. He was pleasant to us and other guests, asking if we needed anything.
We have stayed at many different hotels through the years, but this one surpassed the others because of the staff. Every staff person we encountered during our stay was exceptionally nice & helpful, from the front desk, to the breakfast attendant, to the maintenance man. Our beds were comfortable, the room was clean. Breakfast included omelets & bacon, waffles & the usual other offerings. We filled our travel mugs with fresh, hot coffee & we were on our way after a quiet, restful night's sleep.
We have stayed at hundreds of hotels over 35 years. This stay in Cheyenne was bar none the greatest place we have ever stayed. Check in was less than 30 seconds. Warm cookies. Hot breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. Room was exceptionally clean. Seemed brand new. Will definitely stay again when we travel to Denver.
Clean, quiet, hotel located right off I-80. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. The hotel itself is very convenient and excellently maintained, however it doesn't have any draw to it. There are not very many restaurants nearby and there is no real reason to get off at that exit unless you need gas or a place to sleep.
My first stay at a pet friendly hotel. Perfectly clean quiet and wonderful! And very accommodating of our big dog! A special thanks for the breakfast manager who pointed out the green chili. Dinner at TJoes down the road was great too!
We were greeted promptly and courtesy. Being pet friendly made our decision to stay easier and the charge for our pet was very reasonable as well. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the outdoors for our pet as well.
A friendly greeting from the start! my check-in was very late, so it was nice to receive a nice greeting when you're tired from driving. The hotel is new enough that my GPS didn't give me the right directions (neither on my phone or in my car!) It was necessary to put in the exact address, instead of the "Best Western Plus Frontier Inn - They may not be aware, but there is a "Frontier Inn" in downtown Cheyenne! Otherwise, It was a good stay! The TV didn't work - it was stuck on the Dish Network 101 channel, and only 1 local channel from Nebraska! Thank goodness for the Internet. Since I was there on business, I could get my work done! CLEAN Hotel, as I have come to expect from Best Western! Top Quality hotel, Top Quality brand! If you're driving through, this is a must stay place!
We have stayed at this property several times. The customer service is always top notch. Love the location, and breakfast. The most recent December stay, we had a heater issue in the room, the front desk clerk immediately put my parents in a different room, and made sure they had everything they needed.
A very good Best Western Plus Hotel on the outskirts of Cheyenne with unusually good breakfast thanks to chef Christ Munoz. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable with a good internet connection.. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, as was the small fitness room.
Our room was clean and lacked nothing. All of the employees were friendly, helpful. The desk clerk even took the stairs, while we were on the elevator to bring us extra coffee for our room. The morning breakfast cook was amazing, food was hot fresh and he even filled special requests. There were fresh cookies in the lobby every evening. Definitely would recommend this hotel and would be our first choice the next time we need a room in Cheyenne.
My Friend who was travelling from South Carolina up back to Washington State made a stop here on his way for the night. Said that his room was absolutely lovely and the staff was friendly too. Made sure to stop and grab breakfast in the morning which he said was delightful as well.
I would definitely stay at this Best Western again. Clean, friendly, caring staff. The breakfast was very good! Loved the ham, eggs and chili sauce and items to make breakfast burritos. It was nice to have fresh baked cookies available upon check-in. They were delicious!
As always best western never lets me down. Always very clean and hospitality at its finest. The employees will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. And A+ for housekeeping doing a wonderful job
Ill be back in March and will for sure stay a this place. This is truly a pet friendly hotel and happily spend our money with them ever time we are traveling I80. The staff was fantastic and the coffee. We didnt get to try the BBQ because they are closed on Monday's which is understanding.
Chris in the breakfast service area was excellent. Made sure we had what we needed and was very friendly and helpful. Make our morning breakfast an extra pleasure. Food was good too! Rooms nice and comfortable.
Very friendly staff. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Spa was out of service, but the front desk clerk offered a sincere apology and a goody bag for the inconvenience. Nice selection for continental breakfast. Very nice gentleman working in the breakfast room. Convenient location. Will stay here again.
The hotel was being reviewed by a Best Western representative. The appearance could not be altered for a quick visit, so the appearance is in excellent condition. The heating system should be fixed or I would never recommend this hotel.
The location is convenient to interstate travelers. Facilities and staff were excellent. I was in the process of visiting family members (including new great-grandsons) in several western states. I also had my dog with me, and he was a welcomed guest, too.
We's driven for over 14 hours, so this hotek was a very welcome relief. And all the accommodations couldn't have been better. Breakfast was really good, and the gentleman standing by/serving in the breakfast area was very helpful with selections. Be sure to try the green chili sauce! Yum!!
Nice hotel and great location. My room was on the 3rd floor (top floor) at the end and it was a bit noisy. I could hear people moving in their rooms as well as doors opening an closing. The room was clean & very spacious and loved the bathroom with lots off counter top space. I had a nice size desk to work at and there was a frig and microwave. Bed was very comfortable, but pillows were a bit hard. Breakfast was excellent, eggs and Canadian bacon, lots of different breads and coffee was very good. Would have liked some fresh fruit, but that is just me. No restaurants withing walking distance, but I did find a great Thai restaurant a little farther west just off the 80. Took me 6 minutes to get there. Anong's Thai Cuisine. They also do carry-out. Was disappointed that I could not use the pool (it had foamy bubbles all over the top), but the hot tub was available. My rating of 4 was because of the pool and the noise.
This was a great stay with a warm welcome. Breakfast really was a hot breakfast with fresh choices. All of the staff went out of their way and we had a great laugh with them. We were on a road trip and this was a welcome stop!!
Wonderful facility, kind and friendly staff, great food for breakfast! Best Western is our preferred chain, but some locations are too expensive. This one was an excellent value. We very much enjoyed our stay!!
Very friendly welcome and fast check in. Conveniently located off of I-80 east of Cheyenne. A little far from good eating. Breakfast is disappointingly the regular fare that can be expected at medium priced hotels. Oven warmed eggs with American cheese that they call omelets. I would like herbal tea for a change.
I was looking for hotels to stay at during my cross country trip home. This hotel's location to the interstate and perceived newer age were what attracted me most, along with breakfast in the morning. This hotel did not disappoint. The front desk staff was very friendly and recommended a good local restaurant. The rooms were clean and the bathroom had good water pressure. The guy running the morning breakfast was super friendly and helpful and was definitely going above and beyond normal service. Check-out was painless as well.
Everything about this place was fabulous but what stands out most was our breakfast host, Chris, who absolutely was the most helpful and positive person I've ever encountered. He does his job so extremely well and makes everyone feel welcome like a friend. Give this man a raise. He is doing wonderful work. People remember how someone makes them feel, and he makes guests feel special and appreciated. He's a true asset to the company that I hope management recognizes and rewards as he's a rare find these days. You won't find a kinder human being in this world than Chris. Really. He made our day and his genuine smile lights up the room.
Fairly average, nothing special. I was surprised that the staff did not offer a room upgrade (all previous BW hotels upgraded our room automatically.) Not even sure if I received my double points and bonus point for the BW Fall promotion. Will be calling BW Rewards program about it.
Dogs are allowed here which is fine ,but when all you can hear is barking for hours on end ,it gets aggravating. Sleeping in day time?lol forget it .sign was in door everyday but still they try to get in room at 11 and 13:00 and clock is set for 16:00.i call front desk then the next day they park their cleaning cart outside of my room and have a weekend reunion there. I was one beer away of committing a felony. Maids were 2 girls two guys.
Can't say enough good things about this hotel! It is our second stay and I know why I kept this place on my list. Pet friendly (even give treats and poop bags), clean, quiet, comfortable beds, great breakfast, awesome service. Extra kudos to Sharon, who baked cookies and made sure some were left for us! We will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay at this property immensely. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous during check-in and check-out. Would definitely stay again if we visited this area again. Highly recommended
Being somewhat at the eastern edge of town, this hotel is in a relatively safe and quiet spot. Our double queen room was comfortable and relatively updated. The breakfast items were pretty typical for Best Westerns these days -- some variety, but don't expect freshly cooked items. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our pet-friendly room was indistinguishable from a normal room.
Great hotel for just passing through Cheyenne. Very easy to find. Quiet, very clean. Great fresh cookies on check in. Outstanding free breakfast. Located on edge of town, but that made it very quiet. I liked the steak house at the next exit that they recommended for dinner. Received discount at the restaurant for staying at Best Western.
The staff was excellent as was our room and breakfast. Staff was great with our pet. Just good folks. We will stay with them every time we are in Cheyenne. The Inn is well located, easy to get to, very clean and well maintained.
Very accommodating staff, we needed early check-in and that was NO problem. They asked if a King suite would be OK instead of the queen I'd booked.. well of course! Plus our little dog was welcomed and loved on. (I think Sydney? checked us in) The room was spotless, nice amenities--microwave, refrigerator, long vanity in bathroom, walk-in shower, and 24-hr coffee station. Breakfast was hot & well-stocked; wish I'd have seen the green chilli before I was full~ Chris is exceptional -- get him in management training; if I were still in work-a-day world he'd be MY employee now! He was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. I had occasion to see him be 'nice' when he got a 'ration of ...' from an obnoxious guest -- he handled it with a smile and a remedy ... he didn't know I saw the exchange.
The standard of décor and cleanliness was excellent. We were given a disabled room although didn't need one which made it more spacious, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was better than average with really tasty omelettes with additional toppings. The chef, Chris was very helpful in letting us know where everything was and even heated up the butter for toast for us. He took the time talk to us, which is unusual at a buffet breakfast.
We stayed at yet another BW, but this one was above average with very decent rooms and appeared to be very well maintained. The location was a bit awkward though with some distance to grocery shopping.
We have stayed at this place twice before and were happy. This time was completely different. The reservation was made and military discount issued. The fact that the senior discount was not is a great source of irritation. The girl at the front desk was not even able to get us to a room without getting help. She and the manager refused to give the discount and the manager refused to even talk to me. When they did get us to a room it was at fortieth and plumb. Forty miles from no where and plumb next to nothing. We are seniors and don't walk so swell. We took it as we did not want to waste even more time. I had reserved two queen beds. We found a king bed. As much as I hated to I had to go back to the front desk and wait even more and get things right, the clerk just was unable to perform and again no help from the manager, Patty (the phantom) Ramsey. We had planned on staying here on the way back, that will not happen. We had planned on using Best Western another 9 times on this trip while on the move. After dealing with the people at Best Western customer service I think we will find a decent place that cares about the customer.
Best Western is an excellent hotel! I have stayed there twice on separate occasions in the month of September 2017. I am thoroughly impressed with their customer service, the cleanliness of their rooms, and their yummy breakfast. Thank you and I will be back time and time again.
Stayed here for business for two nights. Hotel and rooms were very clean and well kept up. Breakfast had a very good variety and was well taken care of and presented. Breakfast staff did an outstanding job each morning. Front desk could have used a little more training on the computer system; couldn't figure out how to send me confirmation emails or print the correct receipts upon checkout. Overall a good stay.
We attended the St Joseph Indian school PowWow in Chamberlain S.D. & were on our way home. We stopped here for the night. We were given very good information about a place just down the road for supper. Staff was very helpful with every thing we asked.
Excellent hotel! Perfect for the traveler with easy access to two major interstates. Also good for the business traveler with proximity to local businesses. Staff is friendly and helpful. Located on the eastern edge of Cheyenne you do not expect such a beautiful, modern hotel.
We always stay at this facility when we are in the area. It is reasonable and yet comfortable. The facility is clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. It is located on the outskirts of the city but is still close enough that you can get to anywhere you want to go quickly. The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection and there was plenty to eat. I would highly recommend this facility when you are on area.
This was a very nice and very clean hotel, The Beds Were Comfortable, the breakfast had some variety and was tasty good. The hotel staff was very nice, helpful and courteous. Would definitely recommend.
First off this hotel is five miles from Cheyenne. Fine is just sleeping but inconvenient if a tourist. Staff was nice and room very clean, but for new hotel too many problems. One room too small to put comfortable sitting chair. Dining room chair in corner. Two, bathroom sink drain very poorly.
BWP Frontier Inn is an indoor entrance property. The Plus means it has extras the regular Best Westerns do not have. I called and got one of the last rooms for that night. Sharon was a great help at the front desk when we arrived. This was overall a great hotel. We did have two negatives that did not affect my rating however. First, the keys would not open the door. Apparently they were having a problem with the key programmer. Chris was kind enough to let me in with his pass key from housekeeping when he saw me waiting for my husband to come back with working key cards. The second set did not work either, so Sharon moved us to a room two doors down where the keys worked. It was early so no worries. We settled in and then went down to eat somewhere. Sharon had recommended a restaurant nearby that was excellent and would give us 10% off our meal. So we took her advice and went. She was right; it was delicious and we got the discount. We got back to our third floor room which was very quiet on the back side of the building. Everything was clean and the bed was get comfy. The other negative was the narrow tub floor when taking a shower. It made it a little uneasy on me trying to stand there. The breakfast was good with all the usual items. Sidney was checking us out in the morning and gave us the "grab and go" bags with water, fruit and cereal bars. That was a nice extra. We also got the senior rate. Theirs starts at 55 years. Everyone there was friendly and very helpful.
Was an easy to find Hotel just off I-80, and after a long drive passing many many trucks, it was a welcome relief. The room mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and clean. However, the exterior landscaping was pretty meager and better 'greenery' or some attractive stonework, or horse sculptures would go a long way into making the Hotel seem more welcoming.
This facility has always had a very gracious, courteous, friendly, professional staff that are very helpful. The rooms are very clean and quiet and comfortable. As a frequent business traveler I will not hesitate to stay at this facility anytime that I am in the area. Would also make a nice place to stay with family as well.
My wife and I stopped here on our way back home during a cross country road trip. The desk staff was very nice and prompt in their service. We even checked in early enough for free cookie service. Our room was very nice. The breakfast service was great. There was a very attentive staff member that greeted everyone, offered suggestions and made sure we knew he could help us find whatever we needed. That morning there was even a pork green chili to try! My only warning to travelers is that the hotel isn't near any restaurants so either be prepared to get back in the car to go get dinner, get dinner before you check in or have something delivered (we ended up getting pizza delivered to our room no problem).
We stayed over Labor Day weekend. Hotel was very clean. Beds are comfortable. Hotel was very quiet even though it is right off the interstate. Breakfast was very good with omelettes, pork chili, bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, cereals, muffins, danishes, milk and juices. There was also a sign to ask for gluten free options.
very clean. looked new but they said it was 10 yrs old. room is the usual. nothing special. good parking. a little above average breakfast for the usa. quiet though it is close to the freeway. the staff was very helpful and friendly. was there two nights before the eclipse so it was crazy and the staff still made it a pleasant visit. 24 hour coffee , tea, and lemon water.
Great hotel and staff. Rooms well appointed. The beds are great. The breakfast is a cut above the norm and well presented. All the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. I travel a lot and always look to stay at this hotel when in Cheyenne. Value is competitive but could be better.
Right off I-80 at the east edge of Cheyenne, the location is handy, thought not a lot of things right next door. Great facility, courteous staff, spotless room, clean, and comfortable. Everything I needed or wanted for the last night of an exhausting trip.
Friendly staff and easy on off location. Room had a nice setup with good shower and good breakfast! Bathroom had handicap rail and high toilet ( not handicap room). Would highly recommend this hotel to others.
This is a well-managed and comfortable property that is convenient to downtown Cheyenne and northern Colorado. We found the staff to be warm, attentive, and friendly and they contributed to the pleasure we experienced in our stay. Our room was well-appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and there was no noise from nearby roads or train tracks. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Cheyenne area. It was a wonderful experience.
Terribly messy breakfast area, overflowing trash cans, uncaring breakfast host, not customer oriented, out of food, tepid "hot" water, warm coffee, and to top it all off our bill was over $50.00 too much and the credit still hasn't come through. Not impressed and wouldn't stay there again.
Stayed here on our way to Colorado. This is a nice, clean, no frills motel. The lady at the desk during the day was exceptionally friendly and helpful, even when I made the reservation. Have stayed here before. They have a free breakfast. They are on the outskirts of Cheyenne so not much for eating places by the motel. There is a Subway across the street. It is very accessible and is right off the interstate.
A beautiful facility. Exceptionally clean, a testament to the housekeeping staff since this was the day after a full hotel for the eclipse. Very spacious rooms, and quietest hotel I've ever stayed in. Loved the fact that vending and ice are in their own enclosed area muffing any noise. Staff couldn't have been more attentive, particularly one lady whose name I missed, heading up breakfast at 7 a.m., always checking to see if I needed anything. Unable to muster up anything negative whatsoever. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
An upfront admission is I have not stayed in a Best Western Hotel in a long time. So I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in and found what appeared to be a freshly remodeled Hotel! The room was also very nice and seemed to also have experienced a recent updating. Ms Sharon was wonderful at check-in understanding we had made a long drive to chase the eclipse and my special needs son needed to get into a room as quickly as possible! She ensured we had an opportunity to grab a fresh cookie and had the basic information about the hotel amenities and breakfast. The front cover of the book looked GREAT! Unfortunately the rest of the book quickly lost its appeal. And to the GM reading this, I know the property was sold out to those silly people hoping to see the eclipse totality. I only make this last statement as being sold out may be offered as an excuse for what follows! The Pool. It was FREEZING! Even my son who will swim in just about any temperature water wouldn't get in. I went to the front desk and asked if they could turn on the heat in the pool and after some "hemming" and "hawing" she told me it had, "something to do with a pump." However, please note this same issue was raised in another previous review and the response to this review was the management team would be on it. If the problem is long-term due to a mechanical issue, then some sort of notification should be found on the reservation page. I would recommend something akin to, "our pool is partially inoperable and exceptionally cold due to a mechanical issue." Breakfast. A complete disaster. We got to the breakfast bar at 8:00 and ... there was no food available. The young lady told me, "eggs would be ready in 12 - 20 minutes." The cereal tubes were empty and looked like ravaging Huns had attacked the area as cereal was everywhere! No biscuits, bread, or even yogurt! Bottom line, the promised free breakfast was not provided. When a property is sold to capacity, a lot of extra planning is required to properly achieve expectations which were obviously not met for my family and those who followed us. Lastly, I reserved my room using an AARP rate. I was shocked to see that this rate exceeded the price that is listed on the placard on the back of the door. The card on the door states, "Maximum Room Rate To: $375.00." However, even my AARP rate was above this amount! I understand that demand for rooms exceeded the available supply due to the special nature of the eclipse event but I feel taken advantage of and that the hotel staff almost did something unconscionable by charging this rate. I did not know, when making the reservation, that the daily room rate that was quoted exceeded the maximum allowed. Someone in this hotel's management determined the max rate and posted it on the back of the hotel's door. However, the max rate stated was obviously an untruth. There are several other reviews which comment on the high rate charged for this property in comparison to other local hotels. I feel used! This book lost all appeal unfortunately and wasn't even close to being a bestseller!
everything is nice and new. and you will pay for it. not the best value (of the 3 places we stayed on our 5 day end of summer trip). pool was cold, they said there was a part on order. Hot tub was kind of cool as well. Rooms were nicely made up and a bit tight on space. Over all though, I would probably stay somewhere else next time.
Was Headed for Greeley for a meeting. It was late and decided to stop an hour short of my Destination. I called staff was very friendly and even gave me a better rate than was advertised on internet. Great sleep, Awesome Breakfast. Made for a great meeting that morning.
Our family stayed here one night on our way back home. Overall, it's a very nice hotel however for the location (Cheyenne, WY) I thought it was a bit overpriced even with the AAA discount. We have stayed at other Best Westerns around the US that were just as nice for less money. This is a pretty new one. I prefer BW hotels as they have great rooms and amenities.
Stayed for 3 nights with 2 kids on a road trip around the west. Perfectly fine stay here. Clean and convenient. The guy running the breakfast buffet was very friendly. We visited the Frontier Days festival which was a great experience - rodeo and rides for the kids.
Over charged for this kind of service, Although the breakfast was great and the dining area was clean. Rooms were very clean. But the noise from room above was to much to go to sleep After the third night I was ready to leave. Although I did stay at best western on my trip back to South Carolina. They debited my account the next day for four days only stayed three the fourth day took a week to get money back.
This was my first time staying at a Best Western in years, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience at this Best Western Plus. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the room decor was really, really cute! I would love to have that couch in my living room! Breakfast was fine (not a ton of stuff that I liked, but it was a pretty good selection). Bathroom was spacious and features a shower (not tub/shower). The toilet appeared to be placed off center - it was closer to the shower than the sink area, which meant it was a bit of a reach for the toilet paper, but it was do-able. Would definitely recommend to folks looking for a nice hotel in Cheyenne.
Clean friendly place to stay. They had a great breakfast included also. Well kept place and comfortable beds. They do accept pets which is a great plus. However there is an extra charge per pet. I would recommend this hotel
The hotel is located right off the I-80 on the eastern outskirts of town. Check in was fast and easy. They have a food pantry in the lobby where you can buy stuff to microwave or snack on in the room at reasonable prices. My room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. WiFi signal was great. The shower had plenty of hot and powerful stream of water. The bed was awesome - slept very well. Breakfast was a good buffet spread with a very efficient and friendly attendant on duty. Lots of parking including a large dirt lot opposite for Big Rig parking. They had an indoor pool and spa and a coin operated washing machine. I will stay here again for sure.
The staff at this motel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Very friendly staff.........Breakfast was great and the staff serving was going out of their way to make sure everyone had everything they need and were bright and cheery....Was a very refreshing stay.
Let's make it simple. The BEST WESTERN PLUS in CHEYENNE WY. is OUTSTANDING, A WONDERFUL place to stay. VERY RELAXING. PEACEFUL. QUIET. EXCELLENT STAFF. Have you ever got stuck in Wyoming during the winter when all the highways are closed due to weather conditions? If that happens - this is where you want to hang your hat. It is the closest thing to being home and that detour in your journey won"t seem so bad. Safe travel. (Road trip)
This was the first time we have stayed at this hotel and we were slightly disappointed. The hotel is on the edge of town so it was a bit of a drive back in to town for food. We thought this would mean it would be quiet but the land out the back seemed to be used for lorry parking so their engines were running. Upon check in the receptionist neglected to tell us that the pool was out of use - which was one of the reasons why we chose the hotel. She didn't even apologise when we asked if it was a temporary closure... it was just a shoulder shrug. The room was of average size and was generally clean but there was some bits and pieces around the bed that shouldn't have been there. When we switched the lights off to go to sleep we discovered one of the main room lights wouldn't switch off, it stayed on a dim orange.... which obviously disturbed our sleep a little. When we told reception in the morning (we were literally ready to go to sleep and didn't want to get out of bed and change rooms in the middle of the night!) they didn't seem to believe us - in daylight you wouldn't have noticed it was permanently on.
I stay mostly at Best Western hotels when traveling and feel like I know what to expect. This hotel fell a little short of the mark. It is obviously an older property and needs some improvements. There were stains on the bathroom counter and caulking patches that were unsightly. The elevator was really slow for only 3 floors. The management of the breakfast was lacking. Things ran out several times while I was eating. This hotel is also on the very outskirts of town and not close to any restaurants. I stayed here because of the Best Western brand but I think if I was to visit Cheyenne again I would look for something else.
No Restaurant or Bar on site, nearest one 2.8 miles away which is reached by either the interstate or an unlit back road. This means someone HAS to drive! Hotel very nice but its position fails it. Also if you are given room 230 and are light sleepers, ask to change, it is above the generator room!
I booked this hotel based on reviews from other Trip Advisors. It did not disappoint. The desk clerk greeted me by name. Fresh citrus- infused ice water complimentary in lobby. Room was clean, bed and pillows , decent TV and pool. And they allow dogs! The best part was breakfast- hot eggs, sausage, and green chili pork was delicious. Chris was an excellent host. I will definitely be back.
This is a clean, nice roadside stop. The staff are all friendly and the room was nice. The only major complaint is that the swimming pool and hot tub were pretty nasty. The hot tub smelled like it was really old unclean water. On the wall was a failed inspection report from a month ago saying they needed to close the hot tub until the chemicals were at a regular level - at the time of the inspection it just had a very small trace of bromine. It was nasty... So, if you, like us, were planning on using the swimming facilities I'd recommend bringing your own chemical testing equipment and enjoy using facilities that are not regularly maintained.... It was like being in a tub that was used regularly, but never drained or cleaned. Needless to say, we all showered after the experience.... The hotel could fix this pretty easily and I recommend they post the result of their regular chemical testing so that people can see that they are not swimming in months of other peoples dirtiness...
Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Staff went out of their way to assure the whole family was welcomed including our dog. The bedding was quality clean and comfortable, breakfast was the best we had on our travels so far and it was convenient to the high way
I have been staying at the best Western plus due to us having a pet and few hotels except them. I have been very pleased with the BW Plus regarding the quality of the room, the quality of the breakfast, and quality of the service
We checked in to this hotel and we're impressed with the cleanliness and updated furnishings. We inquired how old the hotel was and we're told it was 10 years old and had previously been a Sleep Inn before being renovated by Best Western. They staff still needs more training particularly at the front desk and in the breakfast area. The breakfast area was not kept well stocked not just food but plates and utensilespecially. The breakfast area was small and not laid out in an orderly fashion.
I scheduled my stay at Cheyenne Best Western during my vacation to Branson Missouri. My wife and I were extremely impressed with the hospitality of the front desk clerk who helped us find a place to eat as we were late checking in. The rooms were very elegant and accommodating. This hotel was a great stopping point in our trip and we really enjoyed our stay there.
We really enjoyed our night here. The only thing we wished was that restaurants would have been closer to this hotel. We really enjoying just walking to various places if possible after a long day of riding. Overall, the hotel was nice and would definitely stay here again once we are in this area again.
Nice room, hard pillows (a plus.) Easy to find and park. We went downtown on the way out to Rapid City, SD. It was convenient. Good breakfast - waffles! It was clean - even the parking lot ! ! I would stay here again.
We had a wonderful trip! The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub were warm and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. The welcome cookies were a pleasant addition.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and comfortable. It is very convenient to I-80. It's not convenient to any restaurants, however, except a truck stop. The pool is a pleasant little lap pool, only about four strokes long. Staff was efficient, if not particularly friendly. I'd recommend it as a stopover, not a destination. Eat before you check in.
The property looks like many "ordinary" motels. The surprise is inside. The breakfast was one of the best included breakfasts I have had, including the ones where a cook prepares the food in front of you. The eggs were tasty and fresh. The bacon was thick and delicious. But the real surprise was the house specialty condiment, pork green chili. This salsa-like sauce was flavorful with a back-of-the-palate kick and bite that brought out more taste in the food. Chris, the attendant, was friendly, professional, and made sure that everyone was happy (except the one old crab who complained there was no cream cheese -- they ran out and were waiting for resupply).
Staying at Best Western Plus made our trip more restful, enjoyable and within our price range. Service was friendly and helpful. Also, rooms were clean and the food was very well prepared and presented to the customers.
Want a clean, pet friendly, human friendly hotel right off the highway? This is the place but, make sure u have a reservation, it fills up and I've seen them have to turn people away. Great coffee and breakfast too
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The air conditioner did not work, the staff just opens your room door in the middle of the evening after one knock caught my husband in his underwear(not Cool). Then they charged my Credit card twice and made my account overdraw could not use my card all the way home (500 miles)
Staff at the hotel was great! The location was not ideal for us based on the activities we had scheduled for our visit as it is too far from the center of town. Next time we will choose a hotel nearer the area where we plan to spend most of our time.
Clean, convenient, right off I80. Excellent breakfast and friendly service from Chris and Kelsey. Stayed in a king room that was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Easy drive to downtown.
Like every Best Western I've stayed in, I would rate this as a commodity motel, clean, neat, comfortable, but nothing special. With that said, this motel stands well above all others we have stayed in. The staff is wonderful. They are knowledgeable of the area, helpful, courteous, and above all, excited about what they are doing. This is especially true of Chris, the young man taking care of breakfast. He turns the usual, bland, semi-continental breakfast into an event. I will stay at this motel again and recommend it to anyone traveling through Cheyenne.
This Best Western had very friendly staff, both at check in and in the breakfast area. Fitness Center had a few pieces which met my needs. There was an indoor pool and water temperature was satisfactory. Great sunset view. Right off the highway and easy to get back on in the morning.
We spent the night here after a long day of driving. The staff was friendly and our room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was simple but the eggs were real (not powdered) and everything was fresh.
We got settled about 2 AM after driving east on I-80 over Laramie Pass at 20 mph in the snow. The pass was closed for 28 hours after we crossed and I finally got to bed at 3 AM. The lady (during the day) at the front desk helped us a lot with weather information. The food was good. Lots of choices. They had a new green chili (nice and with a kick) item on the menu to which you could add cheese and green onions and ham chunks which was suggested to be added to the eggs. Biscuits and gravy were ok. Chris was very helpful with the food and continue to ask if there's anything else we needed. Canned whipped cream was available for the waffles and there were 4 flavors of syrup. The room was clean, updated and nice. They upgraded our room to include a couch. The sheets felt starched and I liked that. Very good overall and everything you would expect from a Best Western Plus including lemon flavored water in the lobby.
This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. There are several other selections available but we keep returning to this Best Western It is conlvient off I 80 and yet quiet. The staff is excellent and Chris the Breakfast Room attendant is one of the nicest in the business.
Very classy hotel, great staff and a great breakfast. There is very good parking for those with towable type trailers. nice room. We had to stay for awhile until the snow closed roads opened. the only dissatisfaction we had was the $ 22.00 pet fee for our tiny traveling companion.
This hotel had a great indoor pool and hot tub. It was located right off Interstate 80. The staff for breakfast was great and the food was good also. I slept well in the bed and I will stay here again....
Great location along our vacation route in Cheyenne Wyoming,. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was nice and clean and per request, was in a quiet part of the hotel.. Nice, well lit bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed. Will definitely stay with Best Western again the next time we travel.
My sister and I have stayed in 3 Best Western Plus on our way from Houston to Waitsburg. We found them all to be very good value - safe, clean, comfortable, good service, with a good hot breakfast at around $100 a night. But the breakfast manager here (Chris) was outstanding. I've never seen a hot breakfast bar handled better anywhere - everything topped off with smiling, gracious service. This was on a par with 4 and 5 star hotel food service. Kudos to you, Chris!
We stopped here on the way to Texas. The lady at the front was really nice. The room was very clean. I enjoyed all the toys they had in the pool for my daughter to play with. The water and cookies at the front were an added bonus but I will say that there were not many restaurants in the area to eat.
Great value, great comfort. Traveled at an off-time of the year, so hotel was basically empty. Enjoyed the pool, the room and the breakfast. Would definitely recommend BW for the casual traveler anytime.
All staff went above And beyond to make our stay wonderful. We will stay again when in the area. They recommended local places to go too that were excellent! Other family stayed at a different property. It was nice, but this best western was far better!!
Good place off 80. Clean hotel and nice staff. Breakfast (excellent) included. Has coin op laundry too. Many, like us, had dogs. Gotta love a dog friendly hotel. But of a schlep to downtown Cheyenne, though.
This is a very nice hotel. Really like the lobby and breakfast area layout. It's on the far end of town but it's still a quick drive to all the local stores. It's also very clean. I would stay here again the next time I am in Cheyenne.
Wonderful place to stay...within walking distance of many places to eat and cabelas...highly suggest..internet was fast, free cookies and look aid at check inn..nice pool and fitness center..looks like a huge log cabin
Nice and clean. Rooms were small and crowded. Would not want 4 people with the 2 queens. We had 2 dogs and the floor space was limited. A little small compared to the other BW rooms we had on our travels.
Great hotel and great staff, good value for the money. we really felt welcome the moment we arrived to nice hotel. The location of the hotel could not be better. The room was clean and comfortable. The Internet connection was perfect. we didn´t experience any difficulties during our stay. I totally recommend this hotel.
A very nice, clean quiet hotel with super beds. The location is far enough off the freeway to be quiet. My only complaint was I thought the price at over $110 with tax was a little high given the out of the city location. Would be nice if someone who do a business model where they could offer a quality hotel for less than $75 a night - I'm not buying the room, only renting it!
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and were very impressed by the staff friendliness. Our room was neat, clean and spacious. Breakfast was great. We recommend this hotel for a stop if you are in Cheyanne!
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Came in late at night and the woman behind the desk was friendly and helpful. I needed a car mechanic and she gave me the name of her mechanic! A very simple and elegant Best Western. Nice breakfast too!
This was the second time we've stayed at this Best Western because we were so please on our 1st visit. Everything was perfect again and will definitely stay here again next year when we pass through Cheyenne.
Moving across the country with pets this is a great place for an overnight stay. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is easily accessible to the highway.
Stayed with my family for two nights here. Very clean room and a friendly front desk staff checking in and out! Free breakfast was also good! Would stay here again if I was going through Cheyenne. Convenient to interstate.
This is a nice facility and looks brand new. It was a little pricier than other BW's we have stayed in but only $10 or so. Our room was really nice and it had a gorgeous bathroom with a walk-in shower. The shower is a nice plus for larger-than-average and/or handicapped folks. Breakfast area was a little cramped... Meal was a pretty standard B/W day starter. Sharon at front desk was really super and directed us to "T Joe's" for dinner, (see separate review).
Loved the room and the amenities. The room was clean, comfortable, affordable and peaceful. Got a very good nice rest and recoup from my long rode trip and was ready for the rest of the journey! Thank You so much.... DCA
When traveling from Jackson to Omaha twice a year we always stay here because of the service, cleanliness and all around pleasant atmosphere. Sharon is welcoming and over the top helpful, the super nice guy (sorry, can't remember his name) that works the continental breakfast really seems to care about you and your happiness. It's always the same so we look forward to our stay each time. Kudos to you!!! Thanks.
Clean and comfortable. No free breakfast. First floor has cigarette smell from casino. Great Value. I would certainly check this place out again and if I could get less than $100 I would definitely stay there again.
This hotel seems to be out of downtown but is actually very close to shopping, dining etc. It is extremely clean and well appointed. Staff is helpful and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome! Breakfast is complimentary and there was really good variety. Highly recommended at a great price.
We spent 6 nights recently at Best Western hotels and this one was the best. From check-in to check-out it was a great experience. Hotel is pretty new and in great shape and appearance. Breakfast was great, just what was needed to start the day.
Hi! My wife of 26 years and I are in the process of moving from Portland, Oregon to New York with a 20 ft UHaul, car carrier, 1 black Lab, and 2 cats. We love staying at Hampton Inn, but they don't accept animals. We stayed at this Best Western, and it ranks right up there with Hampton Inn! We experienced: Excellent customer service, a very nice, comfortable room/bed, awesome breakfast provided by Chris (great guy); a lot of parking in a good area, and all for a reasonable price. I highly recommend! Last, they are located next to a Pilot gas station with the best gas prices I've seen in a long time ($1.87 compared to $2.54 in Portland). If in/passing thru Cheyenne, Wy---stay here! ????
I didn't have a plan on where I'd be staying on my way to South Dakota...but had been thinking about Cheyenne and so when I got close I googled a Best Western near me and this place popped up. I walked in without a reservation and the staff was great and friendly and quickly had me checked into a room. They also gladly provided recommendations for local places to grab some dinner. The only down-side was and relatively limited TV channel options.
Excellent hotel, close to Interstate 80. Clean hotel and room, courteous staff. Accepts dogs. Very helpful in providing advice on local activities. Close to Interstate intersection but far enough away to be quiet. Truly one of few good places to stay between Salt Lake and Omaha. Like a Desert Oasis.
Drove from Salt Lake. Decided to stop and get a room for the night. I am a platinum member and the gal at the front desk updated us to a suite. Was very big with a couch and table. Very clean and comfortable. A little noisy because it was on the interstate. Would recommend.
It's been a long trip. This was one of the better nights sleep I've had all trip. The staff here is very nice. Chris was very helpful with presenting breakfast and even gave us some travel toys for our boys to travel with today. He even cam over to our table and talked with us asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything to let him know. He even reassured our son that everything was ok when he spilled his drink and was helping us clean it up. Thank you for having a great staff member like Chris.
Wonderful sheets, beds, and clean room/bathroom. The complementary breakfast was unbelievably great. Attendant kept everything clean, and fresh, and was wonderfully cheerful. I will definitely stay here again. I would even adjust the trip to make sure I stayed there!
I believe this is a new BW, but it is located 2 to 3 miles east of Cheyenne without any restaurants, stores, sites, etc within walking distance. So a great hotel with a good breakfast, but if you don't mind travelling 2 to 3 miles to a restaurant, this is a good place to stay. So we stayed 2 nights and got used to the drive.
Loved this Best Western as it had an old school wild west feel. The lobby was decorated with taxidermied bears and other wild animals.Really a treat. The room was our favorite at a BW.An older oldschool feel but very comfortable.large.and pretty too.Breakfast at the restaurant was included as long as you picked from the menu provided for free.Parking was right in front of your door and it was very quiet.Hope they don't ever remodel this one.It has it all
I enjoyed my time there. The employees were so friendly and made my solo trip feel not quite so solo. The breakfast was great, I had a good night's sleep, I enjoyed some of the amenities while there, such as the hot tub & pool. It rained VERY hard the night I checked in. The gal at the front desk was trying to help figure out a way to take my little dog out to go potty. I thought that was so sweet of her...not to mention that she remembered my dog from the previous year! : )
The checkin staff was extremely helpful after a long and hard day of motorcycle riding, mostly in the rain. Sidney was personable, friendly and caring. She directed me to the place I should park my motorcycle out of the rain and out of the way. She gave a list of places to get food and recommended the best to be delivered. Two thumbs up for Sidney and her service!
The hotel was clean and quiet. The building was pretty and convenient to get to. Rooms were attractively decorated. The desk staff was most helpful. Breakfast bar had excellent choices and was kept refreshed.
Suited us well as it was out of town but very convenient for the Interstate. We had already eaten but did not notice too many restaurants nearby. Reception staff were welcoming. Room was fine and everything worked. Breakfast was adequate. No complaints and would happily stay there again.
For the money, sub-par hotel. Very clean and very comfortable beds. Cramped and out of date. Television Channels very limited which sucked. No choices of restaurants. Breakfast was OK but very limited in choices. In an industrial area which is ok I suppose since it was close to our satellite office. I felt the room was too small and the price was about $30 too high. I've stayed in better Best Westerns.
Located on the east end of town right off the main highway, this was easy to find. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and the staff were all very pleasant, The room was very nice, and clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a problem with the air conditioning in the room, which I didn't report until we checked out the next morning. But, the management offered us a discount on the room and points on our Best Western account which I thought was fair.
This hotel is very convenient from the highway just outside of downtown Cheyenne. There is also a gas station right across the street. Checking into the hotel was efficient. Overall the rooms were quiet and clean. The mattress on the bed was very worn & uncomfortable. The air conditioning wasn't working well. There wasn't central air in the hotel & it was very hot outside so the in-wall units were clearly struggling to keep up. The heat was unbearable in the hallways but the room was marginally cooler. The included breakfast was good and included omlettes, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, juices, coffee etc. Very similar to other Best Westerns I've stayed at. Overall not a bad experience just not great.
Hotel was great food bed services Building has digital cc cameras certainly did not stop thieves from breaking into our trailer and removing entire contents even though he was clearly seen, nor does the police dept. seem care.
Hotel was quite nice, good service. Be aware Cheyenne has a problem with cars being cleaned out in the parking lots at hotels along 80. Cameras don't mean a thing. Our vehicle was broken into in the middle of the night right in front of the camera. Police and the hotel are aware there are robberies happening in multiple hotel parking lots along 80.
Good location off I-80 yet quiet. Out away from downtown, but just 10 minutes to get anywhere. Polite, helpful staff. Nice pool. Clean room and bath. Slow elevator. Leave Cheyenne with a full tank if you are going north.
It is a fairly new hotel a bit away from town, but not a bad location. The rooms are a bit small, but functional. The breakfast is better then expected. For some reason, and it think it has to do with their light up light switch, the florescent light by the entry was flickering all night.
When I booked the room I didn't realize the exact location & wasn't very familiar with Cheyenne. We were passing through Labor Day weekend and many hotels were full. This area has many factories, warehouses, etc. With that being said, this seems to be the only hotel in the immediate area so it ended up getting full throughout the night with out of town workers. They upgraded us to a suite for free since we had kids which was really nice. The only complaints I have are the A/C didn't work very efficiently bc it was blowing into the curtain and giving a false temp reading, and therefore shutting off. We had to open the curtains for it to work effectively. Also, in the large but very clean shower, there was only single soap dish with nowhere to put shampoo or rags or anything else. I had to put things on the shower floor which was pretty gross. However, the floor did appear clean and the shower and bathroom were very large. Comfy beds, pillows & linens, clean room and a great but busy breakfast area.
The hotel is a little way out of town overlooking what seemed to be a lorry parking area but very close to the I-80 so ideally located for an overnight stay on our road trip. We received a very warm welcome - we were greeted as if we were old friends and offered lots of tips for our journey. We weren't travelling with pets but noticed doggie treats on the counter for those who were. Clean, comfortable room, the decor a little dated but with everything we needed - fridge, microwave, good wifi and plenty of sockets to recharge phones and iPads. There was a complimentary breakfast with a reasonable selection of hot food, waffles, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, bagels etc. The staff worked very hard to keep each section clean and fully stocked. Despite being so close to the main road, we didn't have any problems with road noise.
Two night stay, with a day in Cheyenne. Hotel is in an industrial area, so not pretty area, but close to Sierra Trading Post and convenient to drive into town. Hotel was clean, quiet; breakfast was very good. Bed was not the best but was adequate. Breakfast staff was very helpful and friendly. Filled my thermos with hot water for tea and got me some almond milk.
A standard best western! Staff kind and friendly! You pay for what you get, the pool was rather green didn't really want to get in, the spa wasn't that warm but the pool room was really hot! Breakfast was a standard breakfast not much variety, but a good hotel for a passing by stop over.
This was a nice place to stay. It is very convenient to interstate 80. There was free continental breakfast. They have mini fridges and microwaves in the room. They also have elevators and high speed internet access.
They were terrible they didn't listen to me and got the dates wrong, and was charged a different price then was told on the phone. Then was accused of smoking in the room. Bad place to stay. Over priced
Excellent place & dog friendly. The breakfast was fine, and the hot tub was operational. The room was very comfortable for my wife & I and our two Shihtzu's. The concrete walk way around the Hotel makes it easy to walk the dogs.
Just outstanding comfort and room amenities! Clean, comfortable, quiet, quality, good service and, best of all, everything seemed new. Only drawback was there wasn't much around the hotel in terms of eats, shopping, etc. But it you are only looking for a place to stay, this is the place!
Staff was supper friendly, hotel was very clean and nice. The free breakfast was delicious and the service was second to none. My only complaint was the AC was not working in our room, being late we sector live with it rather then have to deal with moving or having someone in our room working on it. I mentioned it to the front desk on check out but there was no discount.
It was a nice hotel. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, especially when I thought we lost my son's phone( which was in the car. It was a few miles from downtown and the ride wasn't bad. Room was clean and suitable for an overnight stop. Breakfast was pretty good in the morning also.
great staff everyone went out of way to make your stay great, if you asked for something they tried to make it happen, there during Cheyenne Frontier Days, hotel crazy busy yet staff remained professional and cheerful ,really great stay
Chris was very cordial and efficient in the dining room. Made us feel welcome and checked on his guests to insure their satisfaction. This is a pet- friendly hotel. A barking dog woke us this morning but it was quieted by the hotel staff when it was reported. The staff is friendly and helpful.
We booked this hotel for our first visit to Frontier Days in Cheyenne. We decided about a month prior to attend, so finding a hotel was not easy as most were booked up for the first weekend of Frontier Days. It seems that most hotels hike up their price during Frontier Days, so we did pay more than I wanted to but the hotel and service were very good. This looks to be a newer hotel on the east edge of town. Cheyenne isn't that big, so it wasn't a big deal to drive to the west side of town for Frontier Days or even to the center of town to the downtown area. The outside of the hotel is pleasing to the eye and clean. The lobby was clean and well decorated, with a plate of cookies awaiting guests at check in, along with water (with lemon) and coffee. The lady who checked us in was very helpful about places to eat, how to get around, and gave us a map and brochures about Frontier Days. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. There was a 1-cup coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. WiFi was free and easy to use and worked well. The continental breakfast was abundant and well stocked. The gal was diligent in keeping food replenished, along with plates, utensils, and drinks. Items included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cold cereals, juices, muffins, bagels, toast, yogurt, coffee and tea...one of the better continental breakfasts we've seen. There was a free shuttle than ran three times a night, I think, to take people to and from the evening show at Frontier Days.
This is a nice Best Western. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast area is great with a large selection. Hotel is a little bit out of town, but still worth the drive. I would stay again if I was in town.
Service, cleanliness, staff from check in to breakfast the next day were above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again. I appreciated the shuttle service to and from cheyenne frontier days. Carrie was great. Thank you all for make our stay great and stress free.
At check-in Sharon was very helpful. This is a nice hotel and it also accommodates pets. Sharon put us on the top floor at the end of the hall away from kids and pets. Maybe we had the 'harried ' look of tired travelers. Everything was clean and well maintained. We slept well and enjoyed the large well lit bathroom. In the morning Chris was exceptionally helpful and attentive in the breakfast room. Breakfast was good! We enjoyed our overnight stay here and would do it again.
Location seems a little [visually] unappealing as you approach on Interstate from the W. However, the property itself is in good shape, and while it seems remote, it's actually just a quick drive away from downtown Cheyenne. The room had a blown circuit but front desk staff member fixed promptly. She seemed a bit harried - as if lots of things were going wrong at the same time and there weren't enough staff on hand to handle it. One issue we had is that this property refused to honor the corporate rate my employer had negotiated. Both by phone and in person they simply said they would not agree to offer the negotiated rate. A little odd. Apart from rate issues, a good stay overall.
The hotel was nice and clean. Best western has come a long way. I was very pleased with my stay. The breakfast extremely was over the top. Chris works the breakfast area and he was so attentive to everyone. Made sure everyone had what they needed. The breakfast area was the cleanest I have seen and he kept it full. Constantly wiping counters to make sure everything was sanitary. He kept a smile on his face and very friendly. I was already having a great stay and he over exceeded my expectations. Thank you!
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and have never been disappointed. We stayed there again this month and were again pleased. Our stay was very pleasant. The room was pleasant, comfortable, and very well appointed. The breakfast was very good with a tremendous selection. The employees were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
We had a long day of traveling and stopped in Cheyenne for the night. It was dark when we arrived, so not sure what the surrounding area is like. We did have a reservation, so check-in was quick and easy. In the morning we jumped back on the highway, so again not sure about the surrounding area as far as restaurants, etc. The hotel itself is very nice - clean rooms, comfortable beds, and good internet connection. Not sure if they have a pool, exercise room, etc. Would definitely recommend.
We stayed one night. We were happy with the whole hotel. We enjoyed warm cookies in the evening, and good breakfast in the morning.(eggs, waffles, ham, potatoes, cold cereal) The vanity in the bathroom was big, which is nice to place all the stuff a family needs on vacation.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The front desk was friendly and helped us find a place for supper. Breakfast offered many choices, including some hot options like bacon and eggs. The room was a bit more expensive than I would expect for the area and type of hotel.
The beds were comfortable, clean, and safe. The breakfast addition of the chili was great. The breakfast guy was the best we saw in 9 days of all Best Westerns. Re-booked this hotel on the return trip because it was so good. Good I-80 stopover but a little pricey for a stopover.
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. The room was clean, the bathroom had a tub as well as a shower. The bed was comfortable. There was a guest laundry which I find invaluable. The free breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. Chris who overseen the breakfast, made sure everything was kept topped up. He was very helpful and had lots of ideas of what to do and where to go in the area. Thanks, keep up the good work Chris ??. In fact all the staff were very friendly and helpful??. We would recommend this hotel??.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was traveling with my two dogs and they were very attentive to our every need. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. The breakfast was an average breakfast. Decor was pleasant, good location right off the highway.
This is a nice, clean hotel. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the gentleman who was working in the breakfast area was exceptional. He was one of the most helpful and professional hotel employees I have encountered. A great stay for our family!
When we arrived we were greeted by one of the most friendly, conscientious front desk operator that exemplifies what you really need when you have been driving uphill all day. Smiling, offering hot baked cookies, asking if we needed anything else. She always greeted us, no matter how many times we came in and out. This is a new Best Western Plus hotel that really has the emphasis on plus. One of the best rooms we have seen, the housekeeping service had every detail in place - the staging of the room maximized the walk around room, crisp bedding, the bathroom was fresh and ready. Easy access from I-80 at exit on the east side, but easy to get downtown quickly without being downtown. Have you ever had the staff invite you to come back? Sure that quick insincere thing thrown out. Not this one, looked us right in the face and it was genuine. We will be back!
My husband and I visit Cheyenne often. We've stayed here the last few times in the area. This is now our favorite hotel in the area. Very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff and pet friendly. Located off of Highway 80 and easy access to Highway 25.
Enjoyed our stay, very nice hotel. Places to eat close by so liked staying on the edge of town. Very good breakfast. Lady at front desk very pleasant as was the gentleman in the breakfast area. Room clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Located East of Cheyenne about 10 miles. Hotel is very nice and has plenty of parking. There a truck stop across the street and we didn't hear any noise from there or the highway. If you want a good nights rest with no worries then I would stay here.
Super clean, new looking hotel just off the interstate. Convenient truck stop across the road. Very nice front desk lady could tell I was worn out from traveling all day and after my inquiry about laundry facilities offered to move me closer to them IF I wanted to, which I did. Nice, comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
Enjoyed our stay. Clean hotel with a friendly staff. It is a pet friendly hotel. With that said, there were some obvious pet stains on carpet. But the rim didn't smell and overall was very clean. The hotel staff recommended a local dinner spot and were extremely friendly.
We were just finishing up a very long motorcycle trip across the western states. This motel was the last leg of our journey and we were exhausted! The motel staff were very nice and even upgraded our motel room to a suite, which was very comfortable for us to relax in. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was nice, with clean rooms along with a nice breakfast area. We enjoyed the stay, but watch out for too many dogs in the hotel. Our room was fine, but while getting onto the elevator near the breakfast area, we encountered a lady with three dogs. Really!! We love our dogs as well, but where I sleep and eat.
This hotel is on the outskirts of Cheyenne next to the interstate but the hotel was very quiet. The room was very nice and clean and updated. The bathroom was spacious and Kia in the breakfast room was extremely friendly and helpful! We made sure to leave her a tip in her tip jar. She was always making sure everyone found everything they were looking for and even softened our butter for our waffles for us! She was amazing, the best breakfast that we had during our whole trip. The fresh cookies and ice water at the front desk were also an added plus. The pillow top beds were extremelyMy only complaint about this hotel was that the pool water smelled merky and looked dirty. There was a bandaid on the bottom of the pool. We just made sure we took nice long showers :) Other than that the hotel was great!
Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The property seemed fairly new and well taken care of. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to our needs. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was very nice and plenty of food to choose from. If we are ever back in Cheyenne, we would not hesitate to stay here again.
The room was comfortable, spacious and laid out well. Breakfast was quite good, but the space was a bit crowded. Breakfast selection was great as well. I did not try the pool, but it looked inviting. The Guest Laundry was a nice feature and priced below local Laundromats (thank you!). An overall great experience and recommend the property to anyone traveling through Cheyenne. It is located a good distance from the City, but that is not important enough to stop me from choosing it.
Located on outskirts of town. Very clean. Excellent staff--very helpful. Suggested things to do in the area. We were headed to Yellowstone. Staff member loaned us a book about Yellowstone Breakfast was great. I wish I could remember persons name that was working (Carlos??). He was so upbeat and on top of things. Great way to start a morning.
The staff was extreme friendly and helpful in giving us direction in places we wanted to see and things we wanted to do. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. the breakfast was good but all hotel breakfasts seem to be about the same. The main advantage was the quality of the rooms and the staff.
My wife and I stayed at your hotel during our drive to the East Coast. Upon entering the facility we were welcomed by the friendly hostess at the front desk. We were amazed by the cleanliness of the hotel and overall demeanor of the staff that was present during our stay. We were pleasantly satisfied with the comfort of our bed, and presentation of breakfast the following morning. The chili verde in addition to the omelets for breakfast was delicious. The breakfast host was also friendly and presented well. We will recommend this hotel to all friends and family, and plan on staying here during trips in the future.
Great stay! This was our first visit to this location and very much enjoyed it! The staff made us feel at home from the time we walked it. This location is also one of the few in town that is not next to the train tracks.
We rented the King suite for $149.00. Room was beautiful clean, large, huge bathroom, great place to stay. Check A/C - ours was set at 65! Wish it were closer to downtown, but I'm sure the drive-thru customers are glad it's not. Tisha at the desk was very helpful and friendly as was the gentleman who was also at the desk. Breakfasts was standard hotel fare; breakfast room was airy and clean.
I have stayed at this hotel three times before as I was crossing Wyoming on my way west, or to return. I will continue to stay here and would recommend it to anyone traveling this way. The staff are caring and efficient, especially the breakfast staff, but generally everyone we have met. The rooms are clean and modern and reasonably priced. The breakfasts have been excellent with a full array of items like omelets, bacon or sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal and so on. And their coffee is well above the average for most any hotel I have stayed in.
We used this hotel during our road trip, on arrival the front desk were very helpful & friendly, BUT we discovered that there is nowhere to eat without at least a 3 mile drive. The rooms were comfortable and we nearly slept well, apart from a fire alarm at 6.15am - minimal explanation from the staff, and only an apology from the breakfast waitress - could do better - so this BW loses a mark for these negatives.
We stayed a little further out of town than I had hoped but it turned out to be what was needed at this point of our trip. The room was clean and new providing an adequate night's rest. The morning breakfast was expected to be the usual free fare but were given that extra attention by Chris which made the food a little tastier. Staff with his personality are needed for weary travelers.
This was a very clean and quiet place and it was packed. The room and barrooms were bigger then normal. The breakfast was likely the best hotel breakfast we've ever had. Chris and Kia were hopping and they keep everything full and clean and there was bacon :). Kia asked the kids if she could clear the plates and they just looked at her, no ones ever done that in a hotel before. Seemed to be a safe area and there is a truck stop close for gas.
Friendly, professional staff. Clean, bright, spacious lobby and overall decor. Ample parking and room for oversize vehicles and trailers. Very comfy beds for a great night's sleep. Wish every hotel could be such a pleasant experience.
Very clean rooms, quiet and reasonably priced. Breakfast area was clean and had plenty to choose from. Friendly staff. Little out of the way but we were spending only 1 night as we traveled to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Would stay here again.
Enjoyed our stay overall. Friendly front desk, kitchen and cleaning staff. Hotel is clean and has a nice breakfast with great pork green chile. Fairly close drive to restaurants and downtown Cheyenne. The pool & hot tub are currently undergoing maintenance which we were not aware of prior to our arrival.
I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews regarding breakfast here. It is the best selection I've experienced at a Best Western and certainly the best service. This hotel IS secluded so if you're looking for nightlife or restaurant selection this isn't for you. But great for an overnight escape from an I-80 roadtrip. We called about this in advance and the helpful night auditor directed us to a great chop house in town before we checked in. Breakfast attendant and auditor were AWESOME! Our only minor complaint would be the service provided at check out. Agent didn't seem to understand how a 3rd party last minute booking works and reluctantly gave us a receipt for our credit card which THEY had charged. She rolled her eyes and did so "even though she isn't supposed to". Oh well, wasn't enough to keep us from returning, just kind of a bummer after a great stay.
I have stayed here several times and every time the staff are awesome. The beds are very welcoming after a long day of driving or a long day of work. Thanks everyone for making my stay great. The breakfast has lots to offer. Something for everyone.
great staff good complimentary breakfast. the location suited us for sightseeing around the area. it is near a truck stop, but even though our room faced the front we were not disturbed at all. it has a swimming pool which although not to big was very clean.
It was a long day of driving and looking forward to unwind. This Best Western was a nice hotel (nice staff, complimentary breakfast and easy check out - Pet friendly!). Unfortunately, not located next to any restaurants or such amenities for a weary traveler. So, good hotel for a quick sleep and early check out but nothing around the hotel to unwind.
As good as it gets in the area. Inconveniently located however next to a truck stop. Asked at the front desk about the closest restaurant. They recommended T Joes Steaks, 3 miles away. That was a very good recommendation. Hotel is newer, rooms clean, beds comfortable and staff is friendly. It it's late and your hungry, frozen food selection and microwave in your room.
Staff was magnificent except breakfast lacked We were given great rooms. The staff did a good job of keeping our rooms ready for us each night. The only problem was the tractor trailer truck parking was a mud hole and breakfast lacked
I never thought I would pay more than 100.00 for 1 nights stay at a Best Western in a non destiny TOWN like Cheyenne, WY, or any state like the following NE, KS, OK, SD, ND, IA, MO, AL,MS, LA, ID, MN , AK. All I wanted was a quality sleep for a reasonable price I guess next time I will shop around more.
We stopped at the Best Western in Cheyenne on our way to California from Nebraska and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel! The staff was great, the rooms were clean and big and best of all, they are pet friendly! We saw a lot of uhauls in the parking lot, so this must be a popular spot for people driving across the country via I80.
My son and I stayed at this hotel and both of us had bites on our bodies the next day. The bites appeared to be in clusters located on our backs, shoulders, and legs. I'm guessing there were some sort of bed bugs in the sheets. I won't ever book this hotel again because of that reason. Also our room was on the interstate side of the hotel and we heard truck traffic all night. Not an enjoyable stay for sure!
I got stuck in Cheyenne driving through due to a storm. Best Western was super easy to work with when we decided to stay an extra night and continued to be easy to work with when we decided to trek out instead of staying another night. They were willing to give discounts and un-charge us for a second night. The room was clean and the hotel smelled good.
Staff was exceptional and Chris in the dining room was very helpful with information on our next stop and very helpful with our food needs. Day staff person Christina was also very kind and helpful. The women on at the time we registered was a 1st class worker and she is a keeper. Forgot to write her name down, but one of a kind. I was very impressed over the phone and when we arrived at the motel. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Patricia and Steve Frymire
The Continental Breakfast is the best I've ever experienced. The cook go out of his way to accommodate and cook the best breakfast of any I have stayed at. The internet was fast and rooms clean with fridge and microwave. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
I absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Chris Munoz, was amazing and helped us with everything we needed and showed amazing customer service skills. I will defiantly recommend this hotel to others traveling through this way. Thanks so much to all the staff for all the smiles and friendly services. Room was great also! Comfy beds and very clean. :)
A little off the beaten path, but very clean and a decent price! Definitely a great find in the Cheyenne Wyoming area! Will definitely use again when I'm working in the area again. Very friendly staff as well!
Clean convenient and quiet motel. Friendly courteous staff. Clean well cared for and appointed rooms. Just off Interstate. Close to Walmart for microwave dinners. If you are on Interstate for a stop along the route, this is a good convenient stop two days out of San Francisco. We stayed the night before at Best Western Elko NV--550 miles out of San Francisco.
Amazing friendly front desk when checking in and when checking out! Room was very nice, and very clean! We have two dogs, they made sure we got a room on The first floor by a door to make it easy to walk the girls. Breakfast was just ok. The biscuits and breads weren't as fresh as they could have been, but the pork chile gravy was great! They also had a waffle maker, eggs, potatoes and Canadian bacon. Staff was super friendly and came out to pet the dogs. I was extremely pleased with the hotel and service and would highly recommend!
This motel is east of town just off I-80. It's in a non-congested area and is very quiet. We had a room on the back, so we didn't have to deal with any interstate noise. Had a small but very interesting breakfast bar with items you don't often see, such as green chili sauce. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside on the location is that there aren't walking distance restaurants.
This hotel offers great service, staff is courteous and kind, very quiet place to rest ,the rooms are very clean, internet connection is good, convenient laundry room and fitness room. The breakfast choices are awesome! This is a good place to stay. Very clean and outgoing staff.
I can't say enough about the staff at this location. They're all warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely clean. The rooms are quiet, well appointed with comfortable beds and great pillows. The location is a bit outside of Cheyenne but perfect for getting back onto the interstate.
The main thing this hotel has going for it is a wonderful staff. If it wasn't for that you kinda have to wonder why it's even there. The closest thing to it is a truck stop that has a Subway and a Cinnabon. Other than that you say that this hotel is in Cheyenne is a stretch. There are other restaurants the closest being about 3 miles away to the East and the rest in town about six miles to the West by the time you're done with the drive. The rooms are clean but small and the bathrooms have just been redone so they are quite up-to-date. No tubs tho. Very European. I can't say much for the HVAC. While mine wasn't noisy it certainly did not seem to want to obey the temperature settings. The in-room lighting is very dark. If you're going to use CFC bulbs at least use hundred watters. The breakfast was adequate if not inspired. The breakfast bar is small and cramped especially when there are lots of people there. The gentleman who serves breakfast is very pleasant and accommodating as was the entire staff that I met. These people are what make the place. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained. One thing that really turned me off is that the room rate changed three times in the five nights that I was there, increasing thirty dollars for three of the nights. To me that is gouging and I'm not very pleased with any accommodation that does that. Pick a rate and stay with it! Would I stay there again? Only if there was no other place available. I wish I could transplant the staff to some hotel that was closer to town and didn't give me the idea they were out for every buck they could make. These people deserve a better venue!
Room was not spacious but did have two beds. Would not call it cramped though. All was good. The only downside was that the hotel says they are green pushers but it does take a lot of gallons of water to get the shower warm.
I travelled on a vacation with my family and we planned to stay the night in Cheyenne for our last leg of that day's trip. We pulled in to Cheyenne at about 9:30 PM. We searched online for an affordable, yet decent hotel. A double occupancy, 2 queen bed room cost around $107 per night. The price was comparable to other similar hotels in Cheyenne. The breakfast was good. They actually have bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc. The biggest downside we found was the location. For a nighttime stay, there were no restaurants or fast food places close. We had to drive across town just to find a McDonald's. But all in all, it was a decent hotel.
We were in Cheyenne, on our way home from a month in Phoenix, to see our nephew at the Air Force base. We had booked 2 nights (Fri and Sat) because we didn't know what time of day we could see him on Sat. To our surprise we were able to see him in the morning, have lunch and tour the base all before 2pm. I called the hotel right away as we left base to see if we could get a late checkout and be on our way home to Wisconsin. They were understanding and helpful and had our bill ready for us when we arrived there to pack up our stuff.
We had planned to stay 2 nights but were able to visit with our Air Man nephew earlier than planned. We were anxious to return home to Wisconsin (we had been on the road for over 5 weeks alreay) and staff were very accommodating about a late check-out after our 1 night stay.
Staff truly care about their guests! Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Internet service very reliable and quick. Great breakfast served. Would recommend this motel to anybody - easy to get to. Had originally planned to spend 2 nights, but due to a winter storm, needed to stay a third night - no problems in extending our stay. Can't say enough good things about their staff!!!
My wife and i hit this place on our move form KC to SLC. The property is very nice and clean and well maintained. Easy access to I80 and to the shopping (food) areas. they are a little bit of a drive away but nothing to bad. Our room was clean and comfortable. I will say we were not a fan of the pillows but that's a personal preference thing. We'd stay again if we were traveling through.
We stayed one night on our way to Colorado and was very pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was really big, clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked great and the kids loved the pool. The breakfast was awesome, the area was very clean and Chris made sure we had everything we needed and was very nice to us. We'll be back next year!
My three athletic teenage daughters were very impressed with the exercise room. All of us agreed that the breakfast assortment was delicious and unique, we had never had green chile before. The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. The maintenance man went above and beyond to help guests clean snow from on and around their cars after an unexpected blizzard arrived during the night.
We stopped for the night during a Spring Break trip and woke to to a Wyoming style blizzard the next morning. By 9am we knew the storm was going to last through the day and we kept our room for a second night. Staff members were not able to leave and worked 2 or 3 shifts to take care of the guests and the hotel. To the hotel owner & managers; your staff working on March 22nd & 23rd were awesome! They were kind and helpful and certainly tired but a staff to be proud of. Thank-you to all of them!
Was very surprised with this hotel! Rooms are huge with a big sitting area. Bed is wonderful, slept like a rock! Bathroom is big with a walk in shower, though the curtain doesn't work too well, needs a door instead but no big deal. Very clean with a nice breakfast! Price reasonable around 90 bucks, definitely recommend and will stay here again!
I waited until our return trip to write this review because I wanted to see if the excellent service we received the first time on our way west was consistent over time. I am pleased to say that it was. The rooms were clean and very comfortable (great nights' sleep) and the staff was superb. Chris in the kitchen served a great breakfast both times we stayed at Frontier. The check in was efficient and the staff were friendly and very helpful. On the second stay we had a bit of a computer glitch with our reservation and the front desk staff member was extremely helpful in getting it resolved quickly and getting us into our room. Any time I am going west or coming home I will stay at this hotel. I would recommend it over most Best Westerns and similar hotels.
Stayed here one night traveling on I80 to head down south from Salt Lake. Very nice room, updated, clean, comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, room a little smaller but worth it to have a bigger bathroom. Nice for our cat to put the litter box in than in the sleeping area on the carpet. Super friendly staff, Chris, thank you for the great breakfast. Had a nice chat with the lady front desk too, didn't get her name. FYI, Pool was out of order. Not a big issue for us as we were wiped out from traveling anyway. Will be stopping and staying here on the way back home in a couple of weeks.
This is the best Best Western I've ever stayed in. It's new, clean, modern and has great amenities. The breakfast is wonderful, even had a green chile stew which was a nice surprise for a New Mexico native. The guy who runs the breakfast room (didn't get his name) should be given a huge raise. He always checked on us to make sure we were getting everything we needed and offered to help in any way possible. Our last morning there (after a family funeral) we had a late checkout and got back to the hotel just as they were putting the food away. The guy offered to bring food back out and even cook us something before we hit the road. When we got about 500 miles away we realized we'd left our son's treasured pillow pet in the room. I called the front desk and the woman who answered was as helpful as could be (again, really wish I'd gotten her name). She boxed our items up and mailed them to us. Everyone there was super helpful. We will definitely stay there again if we need to go back to Cheyenne.
Our family of 4 just spent 4 nights in Cheyenne. The Best Western Frontier Inn did not disappoint. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast attendant Chris was super nice and helpful. You can tell that he loves his job. The hotel is super clean, and our room was always perfect. We enjoyed the Cheyenne area so much that we are returning in the fall, and staying at this Best Western. Thanks guys for superior service.
We had a great two day stay at the Best Western Frontier Inn. The rooms are updated and nicely decorated. The room was clean and spacious. We had a walk-in shower. The beds are comfortable pillow top beds with soft updated linens. The breakfast was very good. They had scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, Canadian bacon, fixings for breakfast burritos (including very good pork green chili), biscuits and gravy as well as all the usual fare of the cold cereals, pastries, toast, etc. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and attentive. Location seems to be the problem with most reviews I read on this hotel. Yes the hotel is on the eastern edge of Cheyenne. Perhaps this is difficult for some travelers but it did not bother us at all. College Drive exit is 3 minutes away on the I-80 with a Wal-Mart right there. Central exit only took us 5 minutes on the Interstate. Turn left and there are a half dozen or more restaurants/fast food places. Turn Right and drive 2 minutes and you are in the heart of Cheyenne. There is a Pilot truck stop right across the road from the hotel. So look at a map and check out the location if you are unsure. Perhaps if you need a amenities within a very short walking distance this hotel will be a problem for you. Otherwise this is a very friendly, comfortable, updated hotel at which I would definitely stay again.
Nice stop clean rooms . Plenty of parking The breakfast fresh biskuit's gravy, eggs, homefries , fresh bacon and all the usual A little of the path but nice quite. Try T-Joes steak house near by for a great steak and a real Wyoming experience.
It's okay if you need a quick place to stop and sleep. Breakfast good, Gym is poor and hopefully your room keys and refrigerator work. Its not close to Cheyenne but it is next to Walmart and a truck stop.
Even though the hotel is right next to a busy high way, they have done a very good job at keeping it clean and up to date. We used it as a stop-over between Denver and Mount Rushmore and it did the trick to get a decent night sleep. It's not walking distance to anywhere, so need to drive out for dinner. Nothing wrong with it, next time in Cheyenne we will look for something more central
Nice breakfast. Hotel clean. Staff at front desk need more training. They were not very attentive to our check-in. Breakfast bar was excellent and breakfast staff person was excellent. Rooms nice and have updated bedding. Room was very quiet.
Our hand towel was dirty, the sheets were inside out on the bed and worst of all There was no heat in the bathroom. Not very nice at -10 Very noisy with people slamming doors at all hours. The semi trucks parked across the street were a problem as well
We loved the hotel but my daughter's asthma kicked in, when we got into our room, because the hotel didn't have a pet free room. Instead of getting a restful sleep we were up most of the night trying to get her asthma under control. When did fall asleep then the dog in the next room started barking and woke us up. After traveling for 12 hours it would have been nice to have slept for a few hours before we started on our long trip again. Other than that breakfast was ok but loved the way the hotel was kept clean and beautiful.
I stayed at this hotel on Christmas night as an emergency stop. I couldn't get home to Nebraska due to bad weather. The staff were very courteous and accommodating and the room was extremely comfortable. It was easily accessible from the interstate and the grounds staff had the parking lot plowed and ready for customers.
there was nothing really wrong with this hotel except that it is 6 miles east of I25 off of I80. Way out of town. We ordered in Pizza because we couldn't face getting into the car again. The room was small and either too hot or too cold but that is a personal preference. The breakfast was fine but the pool was small and overcrowded so not worth getting wet over.
Visited Cheyenne for some nearby ice fishing. We arrived and I asked for a 1st floor room which the attendant said was not available and I wouldn't want it anyway, thats where most if the pet rooms are. Okay, I guess- not sure if that was a reflection of the housekeeping staff effort. I then had a choice between second and third floor and he recommended second floor because the third floor room made noises out of the heater. At that point I was a little nervous about what I might find. Turns out the room was clean and fine with a couple notable exceptions the room was hot- I ended up cracking the window open (-8 outside) and the sink leaked over the countertop. The positive points included friendly staff and a well stocked good breakfast.
We stayed for several nights during the Christmas holiday. The staff are very nice and the hotel is very clean, the room was nice and spacious. They had given their staff Christmas Day off, which I thought was amazing! I gladly went without housekeeping and other services so those folks could spend time with their families! Good job BW!! We would stay again for sure.
The hot tub was cold and no one let us know it was out of service. There was some mold on the tub that we noticed. We all thought the sausage patty tasted like cardboard. Also the weight machine needs to be fixed. Other than that everything was pretty good.
We stayed at this motel during a snowstorm and were unable to get to our destination , all the employees were just so friendly and helpful that they made the delay worthwhile . The breakfast was very good and the gentleman working there was so careful to see if we needed anything and kept all the food fresh and well stocked . Everything was very clean . All in all ,I would stay there again just due to their wonderful employees
helpful staff and nice clean rooms with a large bathroom. breakfast was delicious with many different items to choose from ... cookies & coffee were offered in the lobby at night. very nice place to stay !
very nice hotel. BW+ has stepped up its game in the mid-tier category. very conv location to I80, fuel, etc. stayed with our pup and had no issues. bfast was better than expected. very nice surroundings/decor.
Great experience. Great facility. Great staff. Standard breakfast. Chris at the front desk helped us immensely with his attitude and helpfulness. Although it's on the eastern edge of town, it's location didn't affect our stay.
The hotel is nice and it is in a great location(right next to I-80). There were some hiccups, such as the hot tub not working and the wifi which is mediocre at best. This was a pretty good hotel though. It's nicely appointed and clean. I wasn't a fan of the heating/cooing system as it didn't work with the curtains. We had to Jerry rig a fix so the hot air wasn't blowing the curtains up and warming up the windows. The breakfast is above average and although quite busy in the morning, there was ample seating. They have a large amount of luggage carriers so unpacking is a piece of cake. The Staff was nice and was able to direct us to some restaurants about ten minutes away.
this is going to be our get away place for shopping trips to Cheyenne. Easy to find with a great access. The pool and spa were great , as the water quality was the best i have seen for a long time. Very nice.
We'll stay here from now on. We travel through Cheyenne about twice a year - this will be our hotel! The staff was friendly and courteous. Very good breakfast, even good coffee! The room was very clean; very comfortable hotel!
On our way to Las Vegas to spend thanksgiving with relatives. Very nice Best Western. Has been updated and is very clean. This is a definite stay again and for anyone traveling. It is on eastern side of Cheyenne easy access off I80 Evening gentleman at desk was very helpful. Morning staff was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman in charge of breakfast went out of his way to help me. Both he and lady at front desk looked up the weather and radar for us for our day of travel to Salt Lake City. We like the personal touch.
Great stay. Very helpful staff. Super breakfast which is very well supervised. Front desk personnel was very well informed about restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable and the beds were conducive to a good nights sleep.
Newly acquired and renovated by Best Western; quality construction made it feel like it was brand new; great bed and pillows; thick towels and hot water; clean, quiet and comfortable in spite of being in a busy truck traffic area on the outskirts of Cheyenne. Breakfast was standard fare - not great but OK.
Stopped for the night while driving to NC and was very impressed with Brian, the desk clerk. He was very professional and receptive. The hotel was clean and updated. The room was well equipped, spacious, and comfortable.
Found this hotel on an overnight stop. Beautiful hotel and very, very clean. Staff was excellent to deal with. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Found this to be one of the nicest Best Western Plus hotels we stayed at during our two week trip to Colorado. Very good breakfast also. A little pricey but worth the money. Not in congested area but convenient for the town of Cheyenne.
Bedding was great. The mattress was a bit like a La Quinta mattress, though. Breakfast area pretty small. No oatmeal. Friendly staff. They interacted with the guests very well. Rooms were quiet, even though close to an interstate.
This hotel is in very good condition and the rooms are clean, neat, and very comfortable. The breakfast is very good with good selections. If traveling through Cheyenne I would recommend staying here.
After a very long day of driving, this Best Western Plus was a welcome respite. Located just off I-80 east of Cheyenne, it was convenient & easy to locate. Our room was very quiet, roomy and comfortable. The bed was great with plenty of pillows & made for a restful night. The staff were friendly & efficient; even the customer service rep who helped me when I called that afternoon to plan for a late arrival was excellent! The breakfast is above-average in choices & taste; the staff person attending to this area was super-efficient & very friendly. There is a large gas station & Subway just across the road; numerous other restaurants were a short drive away. The Subway was adequate for us since it was already late and we just wanted something quick & light. Overall we had a great experience - thanks!
The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet (top floor), the bathroom was spacious with a ring for a hand towel (!!!!) and a spare hand towel hung on it. The linens and toiletries were good quality and we enjoyed a fine night's sleep. We wish the air conditioner had been more cooperative -- it would run briefly, then shut off for 10 or 15 minutes, then run again very briefly, and we couldn't set the fan to run continuously. Fortunately, the night was cool and we were able to open the window a few inches, so our room remained comfortable overnight. Breakfast astonished us! There were omelets in a chafing dish, and they were excellent -- filled with cheese and pimento and very, very tasty. The gravy that accompanied the biscuits was delicious and well-seasoned, much better than what one often finds in restaurants. There was pork green-chile sauce for those who like huevos rancheros. We've paid more and received less for breakfast in any number of restaurants, and this breakfast was included as part of our stay. Don't miss it!
I'm traveling on a long road trip, so a great stay at night with all the comforts one needs after a long day of driving is so important. This BW Plus was wonderful in every way! All the staff I interacted with were as helpful as humanly possible, Chris K. the front office manager went way beyond the call of duty.
Great breakfast and nice rooms. Right by highway but rooms are really quiet. Across from good gas station. Good for walking around the hotel area. Near Cheyenne East side. Takes pets and they have a place for them to be walked. Ice available nearby the room. Internet could be better, has some problems. The waiter at breakfast was very good and conscientious. The air conditioner in the room was acting sporadic and I did report it to the person at the desk when checking out. I had to trade rooms with my daughter who needed it more than I did. I am a member of the Best Western Rewards Club and I have stayed at this hotel before when visiting Cheyenne. I like the fact that it is a little out of town especially when Frontier Days are going on. It's only two exits to get into the center of town. It was easy to book my two rooms here by calling.
The staff was very friendly & helpful. It was just off I-80 convenient. The room was clean and in good order. We would stay again. There was a variety of breakfast items that covered all of my families needs.
We had a very good stay at this facility. The room was great and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast had many items and they were very good. We have stayed at this facility before and have always had a pleasant experience. We would highly recommend it.
Out of 13 Best Westerns and 1 other motel where Best Western was not available, this was the BEST motel overall. Very comfortable in bed and room, extra large bathroom, everything worked including the elevator, very clean, exceptionably quiet and by far the best breakfast we had on our 15 days vacation for choices, taste, cleanliness, presentation and a breakfast employee that actually greet and talk to people.
I originally wondered about booking in this close to a large city. I prefer to stay close to the Interstate and away from downtown. This turned out to be a surprising delight. From the moment when Mary started checking me in, through the comfort of the room, and the great breakfast the next morning, you couldn't want more. On checking out, I remembered some last minute things I needed done and Chris took over to make sure they were done.
