"Don't know what the Plus is for"

Near highway exit. 30 minutes away from the Falls. Cannot use pool, only old dirty water waiting to evaporate. Breakfast is so-so. Weird layout. The front corridor from front desk is a deadend. You have to use the back corridor to get to the upper floor. Fixed glass window is adjacent to front door. It feels like the building used to be a motel with open corridor and renovated later to enclose corridor in glass. Excellent shower water pressure.

Booked this after leaving Poland Ohio and heading up to Niagara Falls. Wanted something on route, and nice. However upon arrival at Reception it was a young gentleman whom looked a little flustered. We were eventually given a room, however when we got to it, it looked like the bed was slept in, and had a half eaten muffin on the table. We went back and complained and was moved to another room, it was better so we stayed. However, after being up all day, we wanted an early night so was bedded for 11 pm. We were awakened by someone trying the key in the door, Got up and it was a couple, no luggage or anything. We asked how they had a key, they said reception gave them it. after 20 mins on the phone to reception, they resolved the issue. Basically the young guy never sorted the rooms out after we were moved, hence the room still showed up empty!! Not happy at all, we complained and I sent an email to Best Western and yet to receive a reply. Dont let this put you of though as most Best Western Hotels are decent and well run.

This is Dakota Vaneglov, @buffalo_soldier7 he is currently the General Manger of Best Western Plus of Cheektowaga, NY he is racist as well as very disrespectful in the manner referring to the military as “crap!” Do not stay at this location as he kicked myself as well as my three kids and husband out of the hotel solely based on him not feeling comfortable with us being there! He even falsified a police report claiming there was a domestic dispute between my husband and I to try to have us arrested! Please share my experience as this has been an unbelievable experience for my family. We are currently relocating from NY to TX and this was our first resting stop. Kids bathed and in bed for the night only woken to be placed in the car until 3 am as the cops helped us find another hotel to stay at. #bestwesternplus #rascist #disrespectfultooursoldiers

The staff and service is excellent. If you need anything like menus for delivery places late at night they will give it to you. I was there during their sold out nights and they made sure that breakfast never ran out. In conclusion I got an excellent service.

Bets hospitality. Breakfast was healthy. Room was quite and clean and hospitality is best by the name BW Plus. Staff were friendly and wifi was high speed. Hotel location is very close to My business trip which was the best.

I live in Buffalo, but I love the place next door - Buffalo Pizza & Ale House and ROCKSTARZ. Every Wednesday is Open Mic night and I decided to have a blast and now worry about driving. I booked a room last minute with April, and she was so sweet giving me directions and was THE nicest and most helpful. The room was really clean, bed was very comfortable, and it was beyond my expectation. I'd definitely stay again!

We recently stayed at the Best Western on 601 Dingens St. We were well received at the front desk and all the attributes of the hotel were clearly explained. We stayed in a KIng Suite and it was a very large room, clean, and quiet. We were in the area to shop, so this location was central to other shopping areas 20 minutes either way whether you were hitting Transit, or Hamburg. The Galleria was a 7 minute drive, and this mall is huge. There is a continental breakfast available in the morning. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

"Quiet Location Near the Interstate"

Visited here as we needed a place to stay. A few blocks to many local restaurants and seems to be off on its own. Need a car to get around but we enjoyed the adventure. Rooms were clean and warm. The staff were kind and helpful. Grateful they let me into my room early as I was extremely tired from the road.

"Suffocating in Buffalo"

Stayed at this hotel on 12/16/17 for one night. Room 133. At 9pm when my family and I settled in to sleep, there was a distinct smoke smell. I looked outside the door and saw no one smoking. It's suppose to be a 100% smoke free hotel. Mild smell so chucked it up to someone walking by that must of been smoking outdoors. Then at 4:30am we were all awoken by a heavy smell of smoke that make it difficult to breathe. I went to report this to the desk clerk, who walked over and was in disbelief of the smell also. She said she would investigate it. And? What do we do in the mean time, choke? She did not offer to move us to another room...We asked to be moved....She did oblige and we were thankful. The staff was very helpful, but the next day when we were checking out, no one apologized or updated us about what would happen next. We were given our bill and sent on our way. Not what we were expecting.

overall nice stay for the price. Hot water not working at first, called desk, fixed. A bit noisy from hallways. Clean bathroom/room. Breakfast typical but nice it comes with the stay. Location good, right off highway and close to many shopping choices/restaurants

Staff were good. In room heating/air conditioning noisy. Had to shut it off. Bathroom door did not open all the way. Noise from persons passing room were clearly audible Could have just been position of room. Not serious but not PLUS.

I was visiting Buffalo & Niagara Fall during weekend and stay at BW @ Cheektowage. Room is Clean and good deal. I have family of 4 stay in a 2 Full size beds room for $120.00 with breakfast, WIFI & parking included. Hotel is 20 minutes away from Canada border and Fall, it is very convenience.

I can't pinpoint it. Even though it is decent enough, there is something that makes it less comfortable. I did not realize that Best Western hotels are individually owned. I have been to some that have been really great and very comfortable. I think they give good value in general but something about this location makes it less comfortable, like only the minimum is offered.

Dirty sheets/room upon checkin during multiple stays. The problems have always been reported, but never fixed. I only stay here because my company has us stay at this hotel. A lot needs to change before I would ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

"A tale of two stays!"

We booked for two nights. The first night, the bathroom was so small you had to turn sideways to fit through the door and wall. The light fixture in the shower was hanging by its wires. The smoke alarm is placed right outside the bathroom door so after a shower it goes off and you have to disconnect it. The bed was comfy though. The next morning we brought all this to the front desk. The apologized and relocated us to a different room. What a difference. It had a nice sized bathroom, the smoke alarm was installed in a proper location and no lights hanging down. Here also the bed was quite comfy. It was like staying at two different hotels. I will say that the front desk was very accommodating, oh and the morning breakfasts where quite tasty with a very good selection.

I stayed at this hotel about five years ago and it was fine. This time the carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in 5 years. The room smelled. The closet door was not on its runner. The bathroom faucet was not anchored. The outer backdoor safety swipe was just a box of wires so anyone can enter the building. We were supposed to stay a week. We checked out the next morning. She said we had been 'upgraded' to that room. I told her I had never left a hotel early before. I barely got an apology. I was charged a higher rate for the 1 night! Disgusting.

"Not going back there again"

All employees who work there are not professional at all (so far I have only seen 1 person working all shifts. I feel very bad for her). No dress code, no recognition to my membership, have to wait at front desk for someone to come asssist after ringing a bell. Rooms was outdated not maintained at all. Room bed sheets were ripped and hair all over bad sheets and pillows. Taken pictures and videos as well. In morning I went down to room move and agent told me to come back later?... She literally help someone else even though we were their first and talking to her.It sure looked like she didn't know what she was doing and didn't care about us at all. I/we usually stay at this Best Western but no more. I almost forgot to mentioned that, there were charge in my credit card that I was not aware of. I called that Best Western and try to ask what this charges for? Person who answer the phone said I can't look it up please call tomorrow morning and speak with manager. I called next morning said same thing call back afternoon. Called back afternoon told me to call back in morning... finally I got hold of Manager and was explaining to him and he put me hold before I can even finish. Then he picked phon after few min and said sorry very busy today i will refund your money. While I try to ask him what's going on with your Angets he said very busy and disconnect the phone.

Looks like a modified motel from the past. Staff is great. Shower is really old style but has been modernized as best they can. It appears to be well maintained. It met our needs as we were traveling on I90. Close to highway and Buffalo.

Would stay again if we are in the area. Great breakfast as long as the weekend girl replenishes the items. The front desk manager, Dakota, was very helpful and made our stay a joy. Parking was good and the hotel was clean and well appointed. Hot tub was out of order the two days we were there. Missed that.

Greeted by a receptionist that literally burped apples... I expected the worse. Room smelled like marijuana, aside from that bed and bathroom were clean. I stayed one night, and probably wouldn't want to stay any longer. Air conditioning in room was not very effective which made it an uncomfortable stay. Staff in the morning were pleasant and helpful and despite how the girl working before them greeted me.. they did not burp at me (I thought it was Buffalos official greeting). Breakfast was eh.

We realize New York hotels are more expensive, but the value for the money of this hotel was not comparable. The hotel was clean, but it was older and definitely needs to be remodeled. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet and the hotel itself was run down. The outside was not kept up or clean.

convenient location, shopping malls are not far away. average, acceptable, service fine, quiet place, booking easy, facilities adequate, price a bit high, breakfast included but not great. staff fine, wifi a little weak.

First of all, there were evidently multiple events happening in the Buffalo NY, Niagra Falls area because hotel prices were more than doubled. I traveled with a group of friends for a weekend away being that were all caregivers and work full time jobs,etc and were in need of "me time". Between the group, we paid over $400 for a two night stay and the Best Western Galleria Inn & Suites and certainly did NOT get our moneys worth! The room and hotel was newly renovated and looks rather nice. The guest rooms are so small we felt like salmon in a fish tank! It's cool if you are alone or you and one guest, that's it ! Once we were in our room, we noticed the commode didn't flush. We reported it to front desk and Sasha who was very kind, nice and helpful moved us to another guest room where the commode worked fine. Hilarious because housekeeping would only give us one roll of extra bathroom tissue and a half roll was in the room already. Whaaaaat ! Now we are winding down for the evening, all women mind you, sitting/lounging around and low and behold a man unlocks our door and proceeds to come in our room, we scream, his eyes bulge and he apologizes over and over while trying to shut the door and run with his luggage. OMG. Breakfast was that of a 2 star. Yes, the hotel is about ten minutes from the mall which was great and area restaurants/shopping plaza's , etc. But, it's a shame you dread returning to your room after a great day out and about. We reported all of our issues and of course there was very little staff available and no management on duty the entire weekend. What the hay! The few/two staff persons on duty were not empowered to make any executive decisions to please guests like us and many others believe me who paid a lot of money to stay there. So needless to say, this hotel is off my list and I'm calling corporate office to complain. Sasha was great. Sorry everything else wasn't.

Hotel was very clean and staff that was there were excellent. Unfortunately they are very understaffed, in fact on one day there was no staff for more than 5 hours. Room was clean but air didn't work.

Decent amenities Hot tub was out of order Breakfast needs improvement There was no window in the hotel rooms that opened. Only window is to the hallway which was not air conditioned and people walking by.

It felt gross compared to the other best westerns I've stayed in. Staff was nice. The bathroom was falling apart. Couch was old and gross, I didn't want to sit on it. We stayed in a suite and the dishwasher and stove were really old, they didn't have any plates or silverware in the room, not sure why there was a stove or dishwasher. Room smelled like smoke.

We stayed for one night over the August long weekend. It feels like a basic hotel and it could certainly use some décor upgrades in the rooms but it felt safe and clean. I was really pleased to see that guests could get coffee, tea and hot water at any time in the breakfast area. This is a nice touch.

Excellent Inn. We did have a minor issue with a room above us but the front desk took care of it right way. Not their fault! Nice location not far from Buffalo airport. Friendly staff and easy free parking.

Did not sleep well due to the air conditioning not working. They had to reset the air handler to get it to work at all. Hard to find your self around the hotel. And no micro wave in the rooms. Desk help was good.

We just stayed here this past Friday and Saturday and our room was smokey. This is a "non-smoking hotel". They moved us to a king suite and that was also a smokey room. This is unacceptable for non-smokers to have to deal with this!! That was nice they moved us, but this room was even worse. Management is aware of the problem and are trying to fix it. It's still unnaceptable! A refund would have been appreciated! Instead, they offered us Febreeze and reward points. No thanks. They do not care about the customer!

The hotel is in a convenient location. The room was comfortable with a good breakfast. We always try to stay here when we're in the Buffalo area. While the bed was comfortable ,there was too much light in the room for us to get a good night's sleep. We like total darkness.

I checked into this Hotel based on the usage of my Best Western Card and the closeness of where I had to be, I looked at there web site and rooms and looked decent. When I got there and went to my room I was astonished what I got, very small room facing I90, so a lot of noise, no pictures on the wall, very sparse, no chair, no hair dryer. I booked for $89.09 and when received bill saw that each night the charge went up and was told is based on availability, so buyer beware.So for 4 nights in a little dumpy room I paid $500, I could have stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Buffalo for that.

Stayed at the hotel for the weekend to drop our daughter at college. The reception from the front desk clerk was stoic and unfriendly and gave me a hard time using my friends and family discount. I had to call for verification. SMH! The bathroom had a mildew stench and the beds were too hard. The staff member on duty at checkout was very pleasant. Breakfast area was nice and hotel exterior was clean. Hot tub was out of order.

I'm pretty easy going about hotels, but this stay wasn't good.they are obviously in the middle of remodeling each room and we were in a remodeled room but it just wasn't clean. Like there was a smear on the wall of something. We arrived after 5pm and our room wasn't ready. Which wasn't the biggest deal as it was ready by the time we parked and unloaded stuff. Very shortly after after arriving in the room, our daughter threw up (assuming car sickness). I was super apologetic to the front desk and just asked for some cleaning supplies and said that we'd clean up. We had used what we could already to get as much up as we could. I specifically asked if we could use a carpet cleaner. We took the kids to the lobby to wait and eat dinner. After like 45 minutes I asked the front desk staff again if they were able to get supplies. I was told that housekeeping had already been to our room and cleaned it up for us. We headed back to our room. The throw up was still there on the floor. I went back to the desk and told them it wasn't cleaned and I was really happy to do it myself but I wools need a carpet cleaner (and again was very apologetic that this had happened). After another 30-40 minutes a housekeeping person came to the room. She said the hotel didn't have a carpet cleaner. She vacuumed the area a bit and that was it. We had a big vomit wet area in the room and no way to clean it? She said it was ok bc the carpet was new (?). We stayed 3 nights. Day 2 we returned to the room to find our door open....like the cleaning staff had left it open. We were gone all day from the room. Day 3 we returned to the room to find that they had just missed cleaning our room completely. The breakfast was below average. Like weird egg discs. The pancake making machine was fun though. They don't leave the water or beverage machine on through the day though--turns off right after breakfast. The pool seemed a bit gross. Like foamy brown stuff floating in it. We were in it for a short time before deciding it didn't seem safe to swim. Big tour groups seem to stay there. Each morning at breakfast there was another large group w a tour bus out front. Made it hard to find seating to eat each morning. The room was size was good. I don't think I'd stay again though.

This hotel has a TERRIBLE layout. It was difficult to get around, and not many exits; nothing near your vehicle for sure and very confusing. We stayed two days and they didn't even clean our room in between. The door to re-enter the pool was broken. There was stuff all over in the halls (vacuums with cords strung out, old and new furniture stacked up, a phone book propping up a 2x4?). Room smelled like smoke. Hot tub was broke down. The people at the front desk aren't very knowledgeable or helpful; they don't really care about all the things that are wrong. Breakfast was a joke. They have a pancake machine that doesn't work (didn't put a sign or care that it didn't either), opened a can of fruit cocktail, the attendant was just listening to her music didn't stock up on things or clean any tables. Overall, very unimpressed.

The hotel has gone way down hill in over the last year. The rooms are dirty, you cannot walk on the carpets with bare feet. Housekeeping banged on door at 8am when check out is 11am REALLY!!! Breakfast was empty, room did not have towels for showers and no blow dryer, when we asked for a blow dryer the front desk acted as if we stole their blow dryer, and sent someone to look for it in the room when we told them we looked everywhere. They stated they are remodeling (What)?? we DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Stay away!!

The rooms smelled bad. Felt a lot of humidity in the room. The bathroom tile was broken. The staff did not refill the breakfast and people were waiting for someone to refill breakfast. I could even see the staff sitting and eating in pantry but would not respond to serving breakfast. Poorly planned. Also internet kept on getting disconnected with very poor speed. Completely useless.

15 minutes from the airport and from downtown and 30 minutes to the falls. Great location and great hotel. Tonya at the front desk was very helpful and nice! We enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the breakfast and not being well stocked

This property advertises as being refurbished and when I was told I would have a suite I actually looked forward to my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel's marketing ploys are grossly misleading! The hotel is filthy and in total disrepair except for the lobby. My room had food encrusted on the tables, the phone did not work, cigarette burns permeated the comforter, there was only a stand up shower and none of the exercise equipment worked properly. The ceilings and walls throughout the hallways were crumbling and there was a rancid smell throughout the building.

Overall quality fine. Breakfast too dry. Internet sign in difficult and complicated. Location fine. Eatery places far away. Value not excellent. Quality average. Services not bad. Internet is disappointing; very difficult to sign in. Either the signal coverage is inferior or weak. Perhaps the sign in procedure is made complicated.

Casual birthday trip. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Centrally located in a nice quiet area. Hotel Staff were kind, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great, multiple choices and options, and different both days. Overall the experience was great.

Stayed there for a week end at the end of March. Prices jump depending if the hotel is booked full or not? (Price gouging) Stayed in a double room, felt dirty and dusty. Refrigerator won't work, found out it was unplugged from outlet behind the dresser? There were tiny mold spots in the fridge, probably due to not using it. I pulled the dresser away from the wall to plug in the fridge. Noise from room next door when anyone used the bath room, loud water noise. Small room and very out dated. Continental breakfast not much, there pancakes machine was out of order, and the hotel was full booked because of a basketball tournament. Wont stay there again, do yourself a favor a few block away check out the Hampton Inn or the Holiday Express. This hotel had ice machines leaking and hallway ceilings torn apart and contractors equipment sitting in the hall, waiting for some child to trip over!!! Stay away.

Overall looked clean until we went to our room. Hallways were dirty, and the ceiling tiles were down due to leaks. Bathroom had multiple areas of mold. When we were unable to get the television working, the hostess stated that there were several not working due to the cable company. Would have liked to know this when we arrived. The breakfast was decent, with fresh pancakes and waffles, omelets, bacon and sausage, along with the standard pastries and cereals. The price of the one night stay was too high (nearly $200) Will stay somewhere else next time

loved the staff for sure amazing, but room was dirty we felt, and gross air coming from vents, we all woke up sick the next morning, check in and check out was great. won't stay again. we were given an hour late check-out which was nice.

We stayed here in the summer and really enjoyed the location and the facility. The staff has always been very helpful and courteous. We came to do a little post Black Friday shopping, so the location was perfect ! We would definitely stay here again.

thanks for the points earned to use towards a free night. I hope to earn more points towards another free room. I hope I win on the spin the wheel game online. I love the breakfast in the morning. We enjoy waking up in the morning and having breakfast already for us. It was really nice drinking fresh hot coffee with breakfast. The bathroom and shower were really nice too. I hope to stay over in New York State before Christmas to enjoy the shopping, music and decorations. We love shopping in New York State and walking around the nice parks. Thanks.

Always great deals and the indoor spa is a delight! It is clean and reliable plus located in a central area so travel is quite easy. I am a long time customer there. Rooms are large and added items if needed are available. Staff treat you like family and are very accommodating to your requests.

I have stayed twice in this hotel with my family. Very good accommodation, convenient driving distance location to shopping mall and Niagara Falls. Easy access to Canadian border (I visited from Toronto). Very good value for the money. I really did not have any complaints. It was an issue with the bathroom door- not locking, but did not bother me.

"Not what it seemed to be"

Good location. Easy check-in. Nice looking room. Beds were softer than I would have liked, but that was the least of our issues. We could not control the heat in our room. It was too hot and uncomfortable to sleep. At one point we all considered going out to sleep in the car. And then there were the ants. Little tiny ants everywhere. Definitely will not be returning to this Best Western.

Elena was awesome. What great initiative. I arrived using a crutch & went to check-in & she immediately told me she was switching our room to ensure we were on the 1st floor & close by to prevent excess walking. Now that is great customer service all with a great smile on her face!!! Friendly staff who use initiative - wish more places were like this. Great work Elena!!

as above. breakfast isnt the strongest quality of this hotel. Otherwise, very clean, very professional, large rooms. Nice value too. The hotel staff was courteous. I was staying with the fmaily of two young kids and wife.

"Nice property but needs some work"

This property is located off the freeway in a more residential area. It is a short drive to nice shopping in the Walden Road area. It's about a 20 minute drive to Niagara Falls as well. The restaurant/bar that is in the front of the property appears to be closed. I would not recommend this property to anyone that doesn't drive or have a rental car as there are no businesses nearby. Pros - Rooms were big and included a fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable. Air worked well and kept us comfortable. Breakfast was nice and offered good choices for a hotel breakfast (eggs, sausage, pancakes - made my a cool machine), cereal, toast, danishes). Outdoor Pool looked really nice. Hot Tub had it's own room indoors and was nice. Small workout room onsite as well. Cons - Biggest problem is plumbing issues. I knew there was a problem when there was a plunger left in the bathroom. The toilet seat looked really cracked and broken. The shower had great water pressure but the tub barely drained. I took a super quick shower and there was probably 2-3 inches of water that hadn't drained. My husband tried plunging the drain to make it move faster but it wasn't making much of a difference. The caulking around the tub had mold around it. The TV channels had really poor reception and were fuzzy. Overall it did the job, but there probably could have been better options.

I'm a platinum member of Best Western and I was not impressed with my room #101. The rug wasn't vacuumed with potato chip crumbs, long hair and plastic cap found on the floor, air-conditioner was noisy and made the room feel damp. I would down grade this hotel and remove it from the Best Western franchise..... Totally not acceptable!!!

Our experience was a bit different than the rest. We travel a lot with our kid's hockey teams and this is not the worst hotel we've stayed in, by any means. Our room was small, but there was only two of us. It appeared clean, but not spotless. I guess you have to take the good with the bad. The bed was small, but comfy. The breakfast was pretty good (and I'm choosy). Location of the hotel to what we were doing there was good. Overall, a good value. Just don't have 4 star expectations for a 2 star hotel and you will be fine.

"Very poor hotel"

This hotel is not up to best western plus standards. It is very tired and needs many repair. The outside security doors either don't lock or if they lock they won't unlock. Several people tried their keys on the door when we were there and none worked. In our room, the fridge didn't work, the light in the shower was burned out and the toilet didn't flush properly. My husband went to the breakfast and had a couple of bites and threw it away, said it was terrible. Also way over priced for what you get. Will not stay there again as there are many other options in the area that look much better. The only positive was that it had a good bed.

Nice location and great staff. Very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and ready upon our arrival. Didn't get to use the pool due to the weather. The breakfast buffet which was included was something to make sure you woke up for. Will stay again.

What a smelly unclean seedy place. From the price I expected something else. Tv was 1990s that didn't work to boot. Ice machine broken. This place was purchased as a green card investment. Now it's being run into the ground. It fits the neighborhood frankly.

This was our second time to stay at the same place because our first stay was good for the value we paid. We booked the suite with the king-sized bed since we have 2 kids with us this time. However, we requested for a room change because the AC is not working, and the telephone to call the front desk is broken. We were told to wait for 30 mins for the room change. However, it took an hour and a couple of follow-ups for us to be transferred to another room. It seems like they were understaffed and the lady who we talked to was rude. And in the new room that we transferred to, we had to request for new linens/sheets for the sofa bed. The soiled/used linen were still crumpled up in the sofa bed when we set it up..

I stayed here for a trip to Canada and it was a pretty decent place. I usually stay at Best Westerns and this was an average hotel. The staff was nice and there's a lot of stuff nearby. The rooms are older and you can see the deterioration. But for the most part, I had no issues. I will probably give this place another chance

Very disappointed. It's not the standard Best Western quality. Staff is friendly but really doesn't "put themselves out" - minimal customer service. Rooms are cramped and bathroom ceiling leaked so bad we had to put a wastebasket out to catch the water. Hope it's fixed for the next visitors!

Old, tired, worn out, carpets dirty, a/c blowing over the beds and is very loud. Very basic. But cheap. Thou bathroom and linens were clean. Around there is nothing to do. There is a bar. Drinks and snacks from vending machines. Pass if you can! Breakfast basic in the lobby area.

"A very dissapointing experience"

This hotel was our 4th experience with Best Western. Unfortunately this was a very bad hotel. The other experiences were good. This hotel was not clean. When we walked to our room the hallways were dirty. When we entered the room this was not cleaned on the floor. There were hairs in the bathroom and stuff on the floor. I went to the reception to tell them about it and they gave me another room. When we went to our second room we noticed that the beds were not the same size as the first room. They were smaller. Again I went to the reception and there I was told that this was not true. I did not wanted this discussion and asked if there was another room. They told me that there were no rooms available anymore. The manager was called and when she came to the reception she talked to me with hands in her pockets. Totally not willing to treat me as a guest. I asked her if I could cancel my reservation. For her this was no problem, she did not try to think of solutions or be guest friendly. She told me to call booking.com and ask them to sent a fax to her with a confirmation of the cancellation. And I should do it myself. There I was standing at the reception counter for over an hour trying to cancel my reservation. Kids were waiting after a long day drive. Booking.com helped me in a good way and cancelled my reservation. At last I could go to a more guest friendly hotel were a feel like I am treated like a guest.

"Stay Away If You Have A Family Of Four With Teenage Kids."

I've stay at many Hotels and Motels before with my family of four. But I guess Best Western is getting cheaper and can't afford two real beds. I was given a room with 1 king bed and a sofa couch. They can't use the excuse that the hotel was busy and that's all they have left. Because it was a Sunday night and there was hardly anybody staying. (Now I know why). The Room we stayed in was on the second floor. Both pop machine and ice machine were out of service so we had to go to the first floor. My wife wanted to take a hot bath and soak her feet from walking all day. Well we found out there was No bath tub only a shower. When the kids pulled the bed out we found food and other stuff inside. Also the sheets had some holes in it. I would not stay here again and this place is a disgrace to the Best Western name.

Agreed to $152/nite room on a friday and when i checked in they said my room was for sat and $205/Nite. Lady at desk offered my less of a room than I reserved at a higher price. I am diamond level with best western, stay at many for work and they didn't even acknowledge the loyalty.

"Updated looking outside but not rooms"

The outside looked nice and even the lobby. It was deceiving once we got to the room. It was room with two double beds and very little room to walk. The bathroom ceiling needed repair. Overall the room just felt old and didn't seem clean. The beds were not comfortable. The bedfast next morning was not bad but the pancake machine was not working which disappointed my teenager.

Not what I expected from a Best Western. Rooms were tiny and beds were small. There was a cigarette butt in the hallway (the hotel is supposedly nonsmoking). The A/C did not work in the middle of July. We went down to the front desk to report it and the staff member reported that the entire 2nd floor was apparently having trouble. They reset it and it did finally cool off enough to go to sleep for a few hours, but it kicked off again around 4 AM and became miserably hot and stuffy. I calmly reported the next morning that we were not satisfied due to the A/C and the staff member gave me $20 of the rate. He did not apologize and seemed annoyed that I was reporting my dissatisfaction. Definitely NOT worth over $100/night. The very basics were okay but I would not have payed more than $60-$70 for this room if I had known ahead of time how lacking it was.

"Charge complaint"

This is in reference to my complaint reference number 160708-4785. I booked a one day stay in this hotel on the phone around for my very early 2 A.M. July 03 arrival and checking out July 04, early morning. Said reservation was made towards the end of June this year 2016. The lady whom I spoke to on the phone from this Hotel told me my room rate is $102.36 since I am a Western Rewards member, on that day when I booked I also double checked with the hotel's website that the rate she gave me was right. To my surprise on July 05, I was following up with how much Western has charged me on my debit card, I was aghast they charged me $327.57, I was asking myself, had I been ripped off????.I am asking Best Western to be standing for their word of guaranty about the rate they gave me prior to my checking in. Even if they think I stayed for 2 nights which is untrue, for $102.36 per day it would still come out $204.72. And with this complaint, I demand Best Western to return some of my money back to my debit card.

I have three kids and spent one night at Buffalo area. They provided a convenient and plenty space room Everything was OK with low price. If possible, I would love to consider Best Western plus as my first choice in my future trip.

Not the best on the road. It was clean. The staff was friendly. The room door didn't fit the frame properly. It was loud, and had to be slammed to shut and lock. Breakfast was ok. Continental. Price was decent. I've stayed in better, and worse..

This hotel was very clean and welcoming. I love how the breakfast area is in the bright and large lobby area. They have the new fresh pancake machine which is great. My first time using. Staff very friendly and room and areas very clean. Nice outdoor pool and indoor spa next to it. I would return.

Great Hotel for the Dollar . Lady at front desk Ishani was amazing . We had a problem she handle it quickly . The Breakfast in the morning was so good , Bacon , Sausage Yum!! Cleaning staff very friendly .Place very clean , and they have this amazing large pool . You will not go wrong staying here.

I was very happy with the location and close it was to the American/Canadian border. It was very close to all the restaurants and bars that I went to that night, and easy to find. I would recommend anyone to stay there who doesn't want to go to deep into Buffalo and there is a great liquor store just up the road from it which is very handy as well.

Stayed here for our family trip to Niagara Falls. It is about a 40 min drive to Niagara Falls from here. This hotel is one of the cheapest that we found in the area. The staff was very Friendly during our 2 night stay. The rooms were very clean. There is a little bit of lack of lighting in the rooms but didnt bother us. The breakfast was ok, nothing to brag about. But it was food and i didint have to find somewhere to eat for breakfast. The pool is outdoors and looked really nice, wish i would have been able to use it. I would stay here again and recommend others to stay here.

This is a nice place to stay. My wife, 2 children, and I stayed here for two nights. We were sightseeing around Niagara Falls. It is about 40 min drive to Niagara Falls but is one of the cheapest hotels I found in the area. The room was clean. Everything looked in good shape. The breakfast was ok, nothing to brag about but it was food. The pool is outdoors and looked really nice, wish i would have been able to use it. Staff was very friendly from the front desk, the lady setting up breakfast, to the people cleaning the rooms and washing the bedding. I would stay here in a heart beat again if I ever come back out to visit.

Hotel had bus tours every night. Guests were rude and dirty and completely took over the breakfast area. Hotel is worn out and needs an upgrade. We would never return. The location is fair...nothing really close for restaurants etc. Our first room had a hole in the carpet about twelve inches in diameter. The breakfast area had cheap canned fruit...sweet rolls seemed old but the coffee machine was great.

Flying out of buffalo and needed a place to stay so we chose this hotel because of its convenient location. Super close to the airport. The free doggy bag lunches (for early flights) was super sweet and free cookies in the lobby.. how can you really go wrong with that. Staff was super friendly and despite the hallways looking a bit dated the rooms were comfy and very quiet. Super convenient if you're flying out

We rented the King Suite w/Jacuzzi bathtub. Pros - spacious suite and clean. Cons - outdated décor & couch uncomfortable. But considering our AAA discount and the "off season" price of $116.99 the room was worth the price. Important Note: The Jacuzzi tub is the bathroom tub, not a stand alone unit as you will find in some Best Western Plus suites. Two people can still fit in it but...it's not a 2-man tub. :)

This hotel is a little weird. First the good points. The staff is excellent. The hotel was very clean. My room was quiet. The breakfast was good and served in a nice room. Now for the weird. I don't know how they call themselves the Galleria Inn as the hotel is 5 miles away from the mall. The hotel is right on the side of the I-190 kinda with nothing else around. The hotel is obviously a very old building as my so called "Business Executive room was really too very small hotel rooms joined together. With two bathrooms. Both rooms were very small. I do give them credit for doing the best they could with this old property. However, I would not stay here again.

The staff here is always helpful and welcoming. This hotel is close to restaurants and shopping malls and if you don't feel like venturing out there is a bar and grill on the property and you also have the free breakfast at the hotel to start your day.

Stayed at this location for special occasion. Platinum card holder Redeemed points for travel card to stay at a "Plus" facility. Poor decision as bedside carpet had toe nail clippings, no bathtub for my spouse only shower and a window that faces the outside hall covered by curtains-this room was to be an upgrade due to my request. Not what I expected from the BW Brand.

For the price I paid for the 2 rooms I had to stay in, my room was for the handicapped and overall was in poor condition. Ants were living in my bather room and even though they wee killed by an insecticide, they were never cleaned up and did come back at a later date.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. I stay at this hotel at least 12 nights a month for business. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The staff are always there to help you out with anything that you may need. They also have a pretty great breakfast in the morning.

Hotel staff was friendly, I would have liked more information on parking IE. I parked in the front, however my room was on the right side on 2nd floor. If I was told to park around the correct side entrance, that would have saved me from hauling my bags, which was not smart.

We stayed one night at the Best Western Plus Galleria in December while attending a nearby party. Our check-in was fast and efficient with very pleasant front desk staff. Parking was conveniently close by our guest room, which was clean and looked as though it had a considerable amount of recent upgraded items and fixtures. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The included self-serve hot and cold continental breakfast is available right off the main floor near the lobby. Dingens St. is very close to the highway, making driving to any location (Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, etc.) quite convenient. Our stay was comfortable, quiet and pleasant. We'll keep this hotel in mind when returning to the area.

Close to shopping area and location is easy to access. The price is pretty reasonable and seems it's been renovated not long ago. Though you can tell the hotel is there for a long time. The guest room is a bit small but the furniture is new. The bed is comfortable and washroom is big. Pretty good for a short stay when you need rest for a long day.

Exactelly 39 min to Niagra falls. The hotel has big rooms and big bathrooms. It has a very affordable prices. Free wifi & free breakfast. I would recommend it if you gonna stay for transitional period only. Wendeys is near by and longhorn steakhouse is 10 min driving away.

Easy access to Rt. 90 NY but if you need to be on the road early be aware you will be caught in rush hour traffic. This is near Buffalo, NY. We were checking in late and leaving early so we did not use any of the facilities. What we needed was clean, quiet, comfortable, and a breakfast. They had all that. Our room was an economy room, it was small and no outside window. The bathroom was very small, long and narrow. The air conditioner was noisy and we were not so sure it was working. The room was a bit stuffy.I would not recommend the place If it had been very cold or very hot outside. The shower made up for any shortcomings. BEST shower ever, hot, powerful with adjustable settings. Mattress was reasonably comfortable but the pillows were way to flat. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare. They did try to upgrade it with sausage and omelet but it was a steamed omelet and brown and serve sausage, very salty.

"Clean but a little odd"

The layout of the rooms and hallways are odd. It almost feels like they put glass on an old motel. The common areas seem newer and are clean and the breakfast is about as good as you can expect from this type of self-serve continenta set-up. The rooms are nothing special but they decent sized. The furniture is pretty beat up and a little old looking. There did not seem to be a way to control the heat so we slept with the door open because the hallways were cold. The pool looked nice but being in Buffalo an outdoor pool seems strange. We were in town for the Buffalo Bills game and our room rate was $209 for what should have been about $129.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this hotel which offers a convenient location to find various shopping locations. Lots of parking and free Continental breakfasts. Lots of parking, free wi-fi, in-room fridge, computer/printer use for guests and friendly staff. Room 112: check first to see if they've fixed the bathroom ceiling as it appears there may be a water leak from 2nd floor. We told the desk staff about this when we checked out. There are no fans or windows in the bathroom for ventilation.

I had seen decent reviews for this hotel given my price range. I found myself paying $135 for a room that had many ants, didn't smell good, and a pool/hot tub that was out of service. The staff were very nice but it certainly was not worth the price. I would have expected this for a $50/$60 a night hotel. Additionally, the bedsheets were not big enough for the bed and the sheets kept pulling up off the bed leaving a completely exposed mattress - ew. They should atleast cover that with something!!

Overall, an acceptable mid-priced motel. We were there for a family wedding. Main disappointment was that TV was not as "advertised." No ESPN or ESPN2. Had to watch Ohio State football on ESPN3 on my laptop. They had ESPN News and ESPNU. Ugh. Thank goodness the free wi-fi was fast. Also, the pool and spa were "closed for maintenance." Since it was cool, could understand the pool, but not the indoor spa. No one had acceptable answers. Breakfast was okay. Adjacent pub was good.

This past weekend me and my boyfriend stayed with our friends for a concert on Saturday night. Room only costed the four of us like $45 each which isn't bad for what we got. There was a small fridge in the room and the beds were SUPER comfortable. Bathroom is really big and was more than enough room for four adults. This hotel is close to a Dollar General and gas stations so you don't have to travel too far if you forgot to pack something. The pub next door was a little sketchy, I didn't go because that isn't my scene but my friends mentioned it wasn't all that great. The front desk was AWESOME (3pm-11pm staff& 11pm-7am staff). They were very friendly and helped us a lot during our stay. From recommending our taxi service to supplying snacks for us later in the evening, they were just great! Also, this hotel is like 35 miles from Niagara Falls so that's something to definitely do before heading home. All and all my friends and I had a great time and if we're ever in the Buffalo area we will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here because other relatives were already booked at this hotel for a family wedding and the pictures online looked great. The rate is too high for the quality of hotel it is on the inside. We are a family of four (two adults and two 16 year old sons) and our room was very small for the four of us. The quality of the bedding (cigarette burns) and overall appearance of the room was not worth the money we were charged. The hotel looks great on the outside but the inside needs a lot of work.
