We travel a lot for our business and are Diamond members with BW so we've seen lots of different properties and had a lot of different experiences. I realize and expect that some will be better than others, but this was by far the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with BW. I can get past the fact they didn't acknowledge my Diamond status, much less offer me the complimentary water we normally receive, but what I can't get past is the filth in the room. The carpet had obviously not been vacuumed for the last few guests as evidenced by the chunks of food on the floor all around and the used pink glitter press on nails that were on the floor beside the bed. Then there was the blood on the carpet in front of the vanity that had not even been attempted to be cleaned up and the broken sink with the mold in the crack of the break. The front of the mini fridge had something spilt all down the front. I will say, for all of the filth around, the sheets at least appeared to be clean. At breakfast, a fellow guest was horrified when she took a bite of her cereal just to realize the milk was soured. I understand the free breakfast is not meant to be a gourmet meal but everyone there was unhappy the eggs and sausage were cold and the sausage itself didn't look like it had been cooked very good to begin with as it had a boiled, grey look. The juice machine was out of order but they did give us pouches of Capri Sun to drink. Overall, it had a definite rent by the hour no tell motel vibe and I can absolutely assure you that if it were my only option for accommodations in that area, I either wouldn't make the trip or would sleep in my car. Don't bother leaving a review when requested by BW either. All you will get is a very standard form letter response from the owner or manager that they appreciate your review, are sorry they fell short of your expectations and will use your comments to improve their property for future guests. The only way to improve this place is with a bulldozer.
Was a lot uncertain when pulling up to this older 2 story building. Hotels without elevators make me nervous with my bad knees but I asked for a handicap friendly room and got a room on the first floor, and my friend got a room 2 doors down. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Mattresses were comfortable enough. It was quiet and bonus points for the electric extension with usb outlets. Pool looked well kept but we did not take advantage of it. Great location. 1431 Cafe nearby for breakfast.
Dirty room. Had to ask for extra bedding for the sleeper sofa that was requested at booking. Was told there was no help available and to come to the front desk to get bedding and make it myself! Lack of light bulbs in lamps and room. Pool needs resurfacing.
My recent stay at the Best Western Cedar Park Inn was a delightful experience from start to finish. Situated in a convenient location with easy access to local attractions, this hotel offered both comfort and convenience for travelers like myself. Room: The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the linens were of high quality. The room also featured a work desk, which was convenient for catching up on emails or planning the day's activities. Additionally, the in-room coffee maker was a nice touch, providing a quick caffeine fix to start the day off right.
I really enjoy useing the Best Western in Cedar Park. I'm visiting from Rockport Texas to see my Grandson in Leander. Perfect Atmosphere and Location. The crew is Super Nice and Curdious. Also the location is located to all kinds of entertainment.
The phone in the room did not work to call the front desk to alert them to all the issues. There was food and dog toys (tennis balls) under the couch. The couch itself was very dirty. The beds had dried on food? There were what appeared to be boogers on the wall next to the bed. There was some material splattered on the wall in the bathroom and what looked like mold. The toilet wobbled badly when sat on and felt as though you might go through the floor. The floor itself was extremely dirty. The shower when turned on began spraying out of the tub onto the floor of the bathroom. Our blinds were unable to be brought down fully. We had the front desk staff address it and when we came back in there was a crack between the sill and the blinds. There were no curtains so we felt uncomfortable staying where people pass often could look into our room. The lamp was listing to the side and looked worse by the minute. The lamp base was also disintegrating with concrete all around it. The room had a very heavy damp odor with a stagnant cigarette smell. The front desk was closed so we left our key at the counter.
I've stayed here twice and I will stay here again. The bedding is good. The rooms and hotel are clean. The staff is friendly. There are good dining options in the surrounding area. If you're looking for good tex-mex, there is a Lupe tortilla just a few miles away. I also recommend Amys ice creams for dessert.
There were two queen beds that were made up nicely. However, several blood stains on the sheets, and pillow of one of the beds. Fortunately the other bed seemed clean enough to sleep on. The air conditioning worked, as well as the TV, and microwave. I did not test the coffee maker.
Negatives: Insufficient parking lot. Fitness room out of order. Outside Trash receptacles full occasionally. Bathroom mirror had large crack in it. Positives: staff friendly and helpful, good size mini fridge that worked great, sinks, shower and toilet all worked well. No slow drains! HVAC cooled room nicely and comstant on fan was good for white noise to help us sleep. TV with guide channel made it quick to find something to watch.
The rooms were very nice and spacious. It was nice to have a refrigerator, microwave, tables, sofa and chair. For the price of the room it was excellent and staff was very nice. The pool was right outside our door and our room was ground level leading right outside with was really handy for my husband who uses a cane and is handicapped.
Quiet hotel, good for a quick night, close enough to the airport; breakfast was OK but lacked quantity of items (just a few pieces of eggs/sausage). Same lady doing both desk and breakfast, she did her best.
We were able to park right outside of our room (when parking was available). The walls are thin, but the room has more amenities than we expected - microwave, fridge, iron/board, toiletries, couch, desk, tv. We originally booked for the breakfast, but never woke up early enough. Our key cards stopped working every day, so we had to have them fixed each time. The staff was friendly every time we talked to them, no matter the time of day. For the price we paid, it was a pretty good room and in a decent area of town. Right by HEB and a few nightclubs/restaurants.
Needed something last minute and this was an affordable option with nice amenities, except for the fitness room being out of order. The staff was helpful, the grounds were nice, and its a short walk to the grocery store. I will probably book there again when I need a place to stay.
This Best Western feel more like a motel. If you're looking for amenities, they are very limited here. But, if you're looking for a really good clean room, fast internet, comfortable, and convenient. It's close to a lot of restaurants, bars, grocery, etc.. Overall a very good place to stay for the price. Felt like I got my money's worth.
Nice place to stay at in the area. if you book a month in advance the rates on the room are better. $89.00 in advance compared to $149.00. The staff is great and verry polite. I would stay in the B.W. hotel again when in the area but will book in advance.
Great motel with outside entrance to the rooms, Motel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Motel reminded me of all the motels we used to stay in when I was much younger. It was a very nice place to stay
The keys are not working and no elevator and you have to walk every time back and forth to key a new key and even the new keys they won't work and I needed to do the walk and stairs couple times every single day. Such a bizarre place It seems they don't care about the custom experience because every time I talk to them about it and still seeing the same issue
I have nothing but positive things to say about the Best Western Cedar Inn. It's an older hotel, but it has been revamped to the point where it's very up-to-date for the 2022 traveler. This is particularly evident in the lovely resort-style bedding, soft beds and the high level of cleanliness that is maintained in the rooms. Even the rooms smell clean upon arriving. Breakfast has a wide variety of options like most Best Westerns. I loved staying here so much when I came by myself for the first time that when I came back to the Austin area for a family trip I wanted to show my parents how lovely this hotel was and they agreed with me. Thank you Best Western Cedar Inn for providing a very comfortable stay! I will for sure be back.
Comfortable stay at an affordable price. The hotel is a little older, but the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with options and the pool was clean. The staff was helpful and professional. Would stay here again.
Overall nothing special, terrible parking less spaces then rooms. Staff friendly the lady working the night shift was very accommodating she's gets 10 stars! Breakfast was disappointing little selection. Rooms large but could use some tlc
We were in town for our granddaughters graduation and choose this hotel because it was close by and moderately priced. We got more for our money than we expected. Although this is a small hotel, it is very clean, modern and well maintained. Our king size bed was as luxurious as any upscale hotel and our room was large with all the amenities we could want. The hot breakfast which included eggs, sausage, biscuits and waffles was a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
The Best Western was just what we needed....affordable, clean and centrally located lodging for a quick visit to Austin/Cedar Park. While the hotel offered a basic breakfast, the food was hot and there was plenty of coffee 24/7.
Least favorite of three Best Westerns we stayed at on our tour of central Texas. very good location with lots of coffee and restaurants nearby. Very limited breakfast even for a Best Western but many options available. Had to carry an arm full of wet towels to the office for exchange on Easter morning.
Haven't stayed in a Best Western in years. Probably won't again. No plug in tub. Front desk acted like they didn't know what a plug was. Called twice to get a plug but never got one. We stayed two nights. Had to stuff a plastic coffee bag in drain to fill up the tub. Remote control had no batteries. Ice machine was broken and the management acted like they didn't understand when I told them no ice was coming out. Looks like it's been broken for awhile. Room was all dark brown and drab. In desperate need of an update. They only gave us two very small towels for a two night stay. Still using COVID as an excuse not to clean the rooms. Despite all that, the breakfast was decent. Definitely not a place to stay if you want romance or any luxury. Go somewhere else. But if you just want a place to sleep, then it will do.
After reading previous reviews, I thot ok, lets give it a try as it was near our daughter in Cedar Park. What a disaster! No food or coffee in the what I guess is the lobby. A family staying here would get to the food early eat everything possible and take extra plates full to their room! How rude! The second day I went to the back to find attendant to ask for coffee, she then showed quite an attitude as several guests sat there waiting for coffee. No creamer. The heating. cooling unit sprayed black oily crap all over my clothes and one of the beds. I could not use internet, I reported it, they just shrugged it off. Smelled cigarette smoke during the nite. Got charged $30 more for second nite. Restaurant next door closed for lack of help! Pretty much a disaster.
the three days we spent there was kept clean and enjoyable. The staff were courteous and friendly. The breakfast was continually refreshed ad item ran out and our requests promptly provided. Thank you.
If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would. I do not usually post reviews, but it is necessary for this hotel. The hotel is super clean, beds are comfortable and the rooms have everything you need. The breakfast is a nice variety of healthy, yummy choices and yes, the Texas shaped waffles are real and well worth the stay. There are plenty of good restaurants near by, plenty of places to shop. But what is really awesome about this hotel is the staff. I have traveled a lot in my life, for work and for leisure. I have never stayed at a hotel where every single staffer, and I mean EVERYONE, is kind, hard working, and welcoming. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is as good as it can be. I can not say enough positive things about this hotel. Make sure this is the hotel you choose if you are staying in the area. I will not stay anywhere else. Thank you to the staff for making my mom and me so comfortable and welcome.
This is one of the Best Westerns that is a renovated old motel. The rooms open to the outdoors and the building is old. That said, the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good.
The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. We had our room serviced and it was great! Everything was clean and smelled fresh! The only downside was the breakfast. It is a great option, however the hot options didn't hit the mark. Despite that, the stay was wonderful and we enjoyed it.
The room was clean and well maintained. All amenities promised were available. Bed was comfortable with clean quality linens. Hot breakfast was available. Front desk staff was friendly and professional. The only negative was hearing footsteps from the upstairs room. A minor inconvenience that did not last long.
The room was clean. It was large enough for a person with mobility issues. Even though there is a bar next door that played very loud music you could barely hear it and they stopped at a reasonable hour.
This was a nice, clean hotel with good service. I usually do not stay at hotels with exterior halls due to safety reasons, but I had a room next to the office and felt very secure. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water and pressure. The staff was very hospitable. Good fresh coffee at breakfast and yummy waffles. Not a great selection of protein though. For the reasonable price I I would definitely stay again.
It's probably ok for a night or two. But don't stay longer. The bed was uncomfortable after a few days and causes sore backs for both of us. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and caused excess moisture.
To start, the area where the property is located is nice. The room was clean, the water pressure was good and the bed was comfortable. Everything one needs for an overnight stay, right? Wrong! Hotel management was awful. Hopefully, you won't have a large group in the rooms upstairs that are less than considerate to their downstairs neighbors. But if you do, management will be of absolutely no assistance. The running and jumping children (not their fault, kids will be kids) started around 11pm. By midnight, we felt we had waited long enough for the noise to subside. Okay, I get it. Not all guests are aware of their noise level. Forgivable. The actions and attitude of the motel manager, Suhag Chauhan, were not. We called and asked for assistance in getting the guests to quiet down. 15 minutes later we called again. 15 minutes later still, we got dressed and went down to the office in an effort to gain some assistance. What assistance were we provided? Nothing. This manager said that he had informed the upstairs guests of a noise complaint and those guests said they weren't making any noise. We invited him to come to our room to hear for himself and he declined. He reminded us that we were not in private accommodations. Instead, we should remember that we were in a “shared space.” In a condescending tone, he then asked why we were the only people complaining. Yep. Now we are just liars. We asked for a room change and were told that was impossible because the motel was full. His solution was to tell us to stay elsewhere. Please listen to this manager, save your sanity, and actually get some sleep at a different motel!
The pictures of this Motel on the app don't match what's there. From the lobby to the rooms. It showed a weight room but there's not one, it shows a big breakfast room, there's not one, it showed the rooms really nice, the furniture is really dirty and stained
Good price for a well kept hotel. Warning this is an austin area hotel so no west texas sized parking lots. Overall, the staff did all they could to accommodate and took cleanliness very seriously. Good hotel and a good stay, simple as that.
Friendly staff, very limited breakfast options for vegetarians in covid time so you better buy stuff outside not available e.g. milk, cereals, fruits, yogurt etc. Convenient location next to 183. Many restaurants nearby.
I'd like to start off by saying the pros: the room size was perfect and the water pressure in the shower was great. That being said, unfortunately that's where the pros stopped. The cons: there was no house keeping for the entire 4 day stay, there were no amenities available. The governor opened the state 100% weeks before my travel. Yet the pool remained closed, the gym remained closed, and there was no breakfast. All of the furniture in the breakfast area was stacked in a corner. There was no in room safe. The door didn't seal closed so bugs were in my room everyday. The power went out for 3.5 hours. They have no back up generator. They kicked my room off of the WiFi because there was no room purchased for my nights that I stayed there, according to their WiFi. I paid over $145/night and this room was a $60 budget room at best. I would like a partial refund/compensation for the room.
Convenient location, very clean room. Bathroom sink leaked, but everything else in working order and shower had very good pressure. Parking was a little inadequate, might have to park farther from room if you get there later in evening. Being a budget motel, some of the guests were a little trashy (smelled pot outside). But noise was not an issue after hours (I also requested a room on the end). Would stay there again.
This hotel is a 3 min walk from the train station. We did not hear any train nosie at all. The room was quiet and clean, beds were comfortable. On site safe parking. Centrally located with a great seafood restaurant next door. We spent two nights as we had booked for a train journey. Manger and front desk are very friendly and the manager went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.
Great location and wonderful facilities and friendly staff! The check-in experience was warm and friendly. The room was very well done with modern furnishings and a very clean appearance. The accommodation exceeded our expectations! All the Covid rules were followed during my stay. I will definitely be staying at this location on my future visits.
This is more of a motel style BUT the people who work here are absolutely the sweetest and super kind. They are truly the reason I come back to this particular location. It's always clean and comfortable. They even gave me some extra time to check-out because my son had woken up a little later than expected and I didn't want to rush him. You won't regret your stay!
Friendliest team and best location in town, affordably priced and always clean rooms. Its always quite and feel safe even on the weekends unlike several other places in town where it's loud all night long with slamming doors or the inconsiderate people who need everyone to hear that they can talk..
I was disappointed to see upon arrival that it's a motel with doors opening from the outside. It kind of looks like a Scottish or Palace Inn (those janky motels). The staff were very friendly however and it was a comfort stay.
I try to read reviews before a make a reservation. After reading the Best Western reviews, I decided this was the hotel to use. Glad I did! The room was a king suite. It was room and the price was fantastic! Due to the covid situation, the breakfast was closed, however the cafe down the street had great food and service!
The motel is a little older but the price was great and the owner was very nice. The lobby and pool was closed due to Covid but the room was spotlessly clean, as well as the bathroom, and it had all of the amenities. If you're a "pillow person," bring additional pillows if you can (the bed only had two). Fantastic restaurant within walking distance to the Railyard called Surf and Turf for dinner, and 1431 Cafe for a great breakfast.
The staff at this hotel is unfailingly courteous and they are doing a great job of making check in and check out safe during the pandemic. Room are clean and comfortable and the A/C is cold! Won't say anywhere else.
Friendly staff, comfy bed, OK breakfast with the usual suspects of eggs, breakfast meats, the TEXAS waffle etc, but did not meet the usual cleanliness standard of other Best Western Inns. The carpet really needed attention.
I am a Best Western Rewards member and only stay at Best Westerns and when I was in Austin on a job and found I would have to stay over night, I chose this particular Best Western cause it was just 8 miles from where I needed to be instead of staying at the Best Western on I35 in Round Rock where I normally stay, a quick glance on Trip Advisor with good reviews I booked the room online. Don't get me wrong the Hotel is Super Clean, the Staff is is very friendly, the bed is comfy, the internet is fast but my Average rating for this stay is based on the Breakfast portion of our stay. It was beyond bland and offered nothing but a very busy waffle maker, that we did not have time to stick around to use. We stay at Best Westerns based on the awesome Breakfasts they are famous for but this one did not make the grade in my book. But if that is not priority for you this Hotel is a great place to lay your head for the night. Quiet, Clean and Comfy and a pretty good rate for the Austin area. Lots of Food and Shopping in walking distance of the Hotel is a Big Plus
The hotel was in a great location, central to many things. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Beds were great! Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was exceptional. They were kind and welcoming and always ready to help.
Best hotel to stay at when in Cedar Park. Awesome seafood/steak house next door, plus a new Chinese Buffet. Rooms are perfect,,bed is awesome. Shower is great, plenty of water pressure and soft water. It's the only place I stay when in North Austin area. Breakfast is great also.
I stayed only one night during November 2019. The original room they gave me had a problem toilet and also a problem coffeemaker. It took two calls and more than an hour for someone to come and look at the toilet (from five doors away) and they decided to give me a different room (which was OK). The next morning a very mediocre breakfast did not start until 7:00 even though it was supposed to start at 6:30. By the way, I did not see any of these problems when I stayed here a year earlier. The rooms, however, were extremely clean and the a/c was terrific.
Greeted at entrance. Staff was courteous, Friendly, Knowledgeable and very Helpful. Room was large, Clean, well lite and accommodating. King Size Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of items. Tables in lounge were strategically placed to allow ample room to navigate throughout the dinning area. Price was reasonable with wide parking spaces. From check in to checkout everything and every body very professional.
The whole motel was clean! The staff was very friendly! It was close to many things of interest in that area! I will stay ther again! I would like to see all the carpet replaced with wood or tile. I personally don't care for carpet. Overall our experience was excellent!
We stayed 3 nights in this Best Western and was very pleased with every aspect! A clean room, every day, a great breakfast, a very helpful owner, and an excellent location for restaurants and a Walmart. The only negative is Whitestone Blvd. which is very busy and difficult to exit left out of the parking lot because of a medium barrier. Despite this, we will stay there again next year when we visit our son and grandkids.
Pleasant stay at this little tucked away family owned older BW. Convenient location within walking distance of several restaurants as well as the Austin Steam Train. Room was clean and cool. The staff was quite accommodating, helpful and nice. We would stay at this BW again.
So the Negative first: we stayed in room 120. The first thing we noticed as we walked in was the over dominating smell of mold in the air so we thought by putting the air conditioning on it would help lower it in some way it never did in fact the mold smell got so bad that we literally had to leave the hotel at 1:30 in the morning because it was making us sick. There were also small beetles in the room probably because it was on the bottom floor but still not very comforting. The positive: management was very nice with us and they said they had tried cleaning the air conditioner that was spreading the mold. They were also nice enough to let us check out and they gave us a full refund. The room was nice big and technically clean except for the stated above. The rooms are cheap and in an excellent location near Austin but buyer beware!
Good place to stay if you are going to attend a concert at the HEB Center Cedar Park. Very convenient. Also offered breakfast though we didn't make it there in time because we slept in. Will stay there again if we are in town for a concert.
Best coffee, good people, great value! Room was very clean, attention to detail. Only knock is rooms enter from the parking lot so no hallway to knock the dust and grime off shoes. Takes a toll on carpet in the room. Other than that, an excellently run hotel by very committed people. Enjoyed!
The Hotel is in a excellent location, The main Lobby and The Breakfast area is very small, The Breakfast had a few different choices, not excellent but okay. The furniture need to be upgraded in the room. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. Would I stay there again, probably not, because I do not like outside hotel rooms. but the hotel was clean.
What makes this hotel about others is their staff and the cleanliness of the rooms and place. The hotel is close to Katy Mills and close to restaurants and Walmart. They have high speed internet which works very well. The bed was very comfortable and the restroom was clean, nice shower.
Perfect small reasonable hotel! Everyone was welcoming and helpful! Room is standard room, but clean and well maintained and updated. Breakfast was OK with usual fare of waffles, eggs, sausage. Was in cedar park for medical procedure and the facility was within walking distance as well as food options! Noticed many other medical facilities as well as my own! All in all it was a very nice couple of nights!! Will stay again if need be.
We had three rooms booked with friends and it worked out great for us. Beds were nice and rooms are good size. Breakfast was decent also. Would book here again. Rooms were clean and staff nice. Has a small pool
I'm very short notice I was able to get a handicapped room and they were very accommodating I stayed I believe four nights there breakfast area and assortments were very nice it's very clean and I have been back
Selected this Best Western primarily for location. Compared to other BW's I have stayed at, this one showed some signs of age. Carpet was dated and had some wear. Housekeeping was fine and all the basics functioned fine although the shower must have designed for very short guests! Breakfast was the usual fare but fine for our needs. Walking distance for some local restaurants. Front desk staff were friendly. All in all an acceptable adventure.
Simple and quiet. Great location as there are plenty of choices for food, bar, or even shopping very close by. There was a bar and train in the area and surprisingly we did not hear either one during the night. The rooms were clean and it was quiet all night. No drama in these parts. There was even a good old fashion Bible in the drawer!! The internet service was easy to use also. I did not get a chance to have breakfast or use the fitness room or pool, but I would definitely go here again if I needed to stay close to Austin without paying a fortune. They also had information about what was in the area if you needed anything from food to shopping to whatever...this was very helpful.
Stopped at Best Western Cedar Inn for the night. A nice place with a clean room. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The pool wasn't open, but to me that didn't matter. I would recommend going to this hotel.
A very nice stay in this northern suburb of Austin. Near Round Rock and Georgetown. Easy proximity to I-35, 183 and toll roads 130 and 45. Near shopping and restaurants and within walking distance of H-E-B. Staff was very friendly upon our check in and the room was spotless, May be the cleanest hotel room we have ever enjoyed. Microwave and fridge in room and the beds are very comfortable. There is a free breakfast, the usual fare but very welcome and well appointed. There is an outdoor pool and an exercise room so you can get in some miles on a bike or treadmill if you like. This was our first stay in this area, and we will be happy to come back to this hotel.
We spend a couple of weeks. They had a simple but effective breakfast. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. They have a swimming pool but we've been there in the winter time. There is a gym very close to the hotel (walking distance).
Room was clean. Staff very friendly and professional. Beds were extremely comfortable with the best pillows I've had in a motel in a long time. I slept extremely well, as did my wife. Staff went out of their way to see you were well served. e.g.... many motels try to close down breakfast area as soon as they can, These guys even served people a bit late, and made sure there were plenty of the breakfast items, and the breakfast was robust and delicious. Tina was a particularly gracious hostess. I will not only recommend this inn to anyone interested in visiting Cedar Park, TX, I will be sure to book future trips here to this inn if rooms are available as my first choice. At this price point, you just aren't going to do better!
Clean and quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning, water pressure will knock you over. Black out shades makes it nice for sleeping. Would definately return. Breakfast doesnt start until 630 am.
I usually don't like staying at hotels that have outside entrance to rooms but this location was VERY clean. The room had modern decor and it looked like they had renovated everything! Don't judge a book by its cover.
We arrived early with 3 kids ready to unwind after 3hrs on the road. Expecting for our rooms not to be ready we were ready just to jump in the pool! But our rooms were ready which made the trip even better! The pool is nice, clean and relaxing! This BW is located in a great location! Walking distance to the HEB, Starbuck's, 7/11, and restaurants! I would highly recommend staying at this BW!
We spent 6 days at this motel over the recent Memorial Day weekend. The motel is an older model with all rooms with outdoor access. It has been updated and remodeled. The beds were extremely comfy as well as the pillows. The air conditioning was put to the test and performed well. There was a small pool which was a welcome relief on the hot afternoons and evenings. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and adequate for our needs. This motel is close to anything that you would want or need. You can walk next door to a complex of restaurants and businesses.
The rooms are motel style. However, the parking was a pain because it was full most of the time with what appeared to be non-guest cars The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. . The breakfast was horrible. Fake eggs and bacon and stodgy sweet treats. The area to sit to eat is really small but you can take food to your room. The price was more than we usually pay but was close to a function we were attending.
A friend and I wanted to visit the national wildlife refuge and needed a place to stay overnight. This Best Western fit the bill! Comfy beds, breakfast included. A note on the breakfast-/the scrambled eggs were overdone, but this may not be an everyday event. Reception staff were very friendly
I planned to stay in Hill Country and just roam around. This hotel was perfectly located to do just that. The front desk was friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was always clean and neat when I returned from my daily travels. Breakfast was hot and good quality. I would stay here again if I come back to Hill Country Jim
Hotel was very convenient place to stay when riding the train to Brunet. We walked to the train station to board the train. It is close to restaurants and major retailers. Rooms and hotel appear to be recently remolded. Rooms still appear to be new and clean. Complementary breakfast and coffee are good.
I was just in Cedar Park for a wedding and I stayed at the BW Cedar Inn for two nights. The room was clean, beds were comfy enough, the bathroom had the sink outside of where the toilet/shower are which is always nice, and the showerhead/water pressure/water temp was good. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. There were some minor issues with the reservation. I had booked through Expedia and the hotel for some reason had me down for one more night than I had reserved but we worked it out at checkout. Also, the blinds in the room were broken which I notified them of at checkout. The rooms open up to the outside so one night some people in the room next to mine were standing outside drinking and being a little loud so keep that in mind when booking. The location is good and the price was lower than some in that area. It's a basic hotel which was fine for a short stay.
we stayed in a king size room for 2 nights. the room was spacious and clean. i will be returning to this hotel if we travel here again. hotel staff was kind and courtious. This hotel had free wifi that worked great.
For the past few years we have traveled quite frequently to Cedar Park, and prefer by far staying here at Best Western Cedar Inn for so many reasons. Price is very reasonable for the hotels accommodations, cleanliness, and comfort. A free, delicious, satisfying breakfast any day of the week, large clean rooms equipped with cable, WiFi, mini-fridge and micro, comfy beds, excellent water pressure in shower, nice swimming pool, and great location in proximity to many businesses for shopping and restaurants. The manager and staff are always so welcoming, they make you feel right at home, and strive for customer satisfaction! You will NOT be disappointed with this hotel.
Great water pressure for an indulgent shower, and comfy bed with plenty of pillow options. Chose for proximity to my sister's place so convenient. Coffee maker in room was better than lobby, but fruit was fresh.
Everything was excellent but we were on the second floor and arrived late so no parking was available....an elevator would have been great since we were toting a pack n play and baby! Otherwise wonderful stay
This is a small hotel. It has been remodeled. It has a small pool and it has a fitness center. Free breakfast is served 6:30-9:30am. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Our room 113 had a noisy fridge and we reported it. Also I suggest you request a room upstairs as you can hear footsteps and bathroom flushes. The staff on duty was very friendly.
The hotel was conveniently located near major intersections, good restaurants and other amenities needed when traveling. The checkin was quick and easy, as was the checkout. Room was clean, pleasant, and comfortable. I will stay here again when in this area.
This is a great hotel. The price for how nice the area is, is unbelievable, also the manager will make sure you are taken care of if there are any problems. There are some good places to eat and have a drink or 10 at as well!
This was the second time staying here. Really a nice place with clean rooms and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and room was a good size for the two of us, it has a love seat and desk. The breakfast was good. The location is great, surrounded by plenty of places to eat and shop. Close to freeways and easy to get in and out of.
Motel could not give accurate directions even after we called three times. Water was cut-off for an hour when we arrived. Noisy guests outside kept us awake all night. Hotel needs to hire night watchman to confront noisy guests so that we do not have to risk retaliation.
Overall great place to stay for leisure or business. Housekeeping staff very nice and the manager Mr. Patel great guy. Parking a little tight at night but rooms very clean, bed very comfortable. I'd recommend.
I stayed here while on an overnight visit to a family event. This was a clean and comfortable room at a reasonable price. It was exactly as I expected. I was impressed by how spotless the room was. It was also convenient, with a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a microwave. (I used only the coffeemaker.) The king bed and air conditioning were nice, which I appreciated since I only rested there and it was over 105 degrees F high that day. There was even a small swimming pool as well as complimentary breakfast (both of which I did not use). The only blemish was a missing bulb in one of the bedside lamps. I would stay there again if I needed to revisit Cedar Park.
Was pleasantly surprised! Tucked in on a busy growing street! This town is growing leaps and bounds, but the hotel is located just about in the middle so that you can go any direction and find food and shopping!
Room was huge, had flat screen tv, microwave and fridge. Very comfortable. Toilet got plugged up second day and was repaired by the time I got back. Pool tile was very dirty. Black mold on molding around water filter exits.
We did not want to be disturbed during the early morning of our stay. When we left for the day, at 11am, we returned late evening to find that our room had not been touched. Bed not made, trash not taken out, and no clean towels. The Housekeeper left a note at the front desk saying that she could not clean because of "Do Not Disturb" sign on door. Yes, it was there between 9 and 10am while we had our breakfast, showered and got dressed. There was no sign on the outside door handle from 11am-8:30pm. Housekeeping leaves at 4pm. What gives? Do they not check back?
We were traveling for business. It was getting late and we had not found a room yet. I called over to best Western the staff is very nice and courteous the prices of the hotel reasonable. So we decided to stay there. The overall experience was better than what I expected. We would definitely choose best western again.
The staff here is very helpful. They "bend over backwards" to help you and have the room that you want. Room was very clean. Bed very comfortable. Everyone was enjoying the pool although I did not have time for that! Blessings to each of them and you!
Best Western Cedar Park is a nice place to stay. The atmosphere is good. The staff is awesome. Kids and adults were thoroughly enjoying the pool. It is rather quiet to be in a city. If you look for the green roof buildings next door, it is easy to find. My GPS was out of order.
Good service, excellent attentive staff, breakfast better than expected. Signage could be better was hard to find at first. All in all I would stay here again if I come back to the area. Recommend if on a budget.
Haven't stayed in a Best Western in a while, but I will definitely consider it again the next time I need to book a hotel. Very clean, exceptionally comfortable. Friendly, courteous and professional staff that always had a kind word and asked after my comfort. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Cedar Park/Leander/Round Rock area!
Top notch. Beautiful rooms and pool. Yummy breakfast. The most helpful and friendly staff we have ever encountered. 200 steps to the Austin Steam Train station. Easy highway access. Just the very best.
We were in town for a high school graduation. This BW was very convenient to the HEB Center where the graduation ceremony was held. Our room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. The staff was courteous and professional. Will stay here again next time we are in this area.
I will start my review by saying that I HATE travelling. It causes me great stress and anxiety, but my daughter graduated from college and then got married so I actually stayed here twice, once in April and again in May. Both of my experiences were great. I am a single older lady and felt completely safe. The staff is very pleasant, polite and helpful. The thing I appreciated most was the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire property. There are also 4 very good restaurants within easy walking distance which was extremely helpful in my situation. I highly recommend this hotel.
Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was good sized with a microwave & fridge. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. Breakfast was good too. My only negative comment was the very strong cigarette smoke smell in the room. Despite the no smoking policy, clearly someone had been smoking heavily in my room. It was terrible! Ruined a very positive experience otherwise.
Staff was very friendly , courteous and helpful. Room were clean, updated, nice size flatscreen TV, bed was very comfortable, rooms and facilities very well maintained. Bathroom was spotless, very pleased with my stay there. Plenty of places near by to eat and shop.
The Best Western in Cedar Park is a delightful spot to stay when you have to be in the Austin area. It is also a perfect jumping off location to visit the Texas wine trail. Especially, check out Flat Creek Estates between Cedar Park and Marble Falls if you are in the area. Great wine and great Bistro and beautiful location.
Perfect location. The hotel was close to the venue and it was easy access to highway. Did like the check out time @ 11AM. would be nice to extend to 12 noon. Well highly recommend this hotel to everyone and family.
This hotel is great!!!! The room was very spacious, beds so comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. I know some people might say its not 5 stars, but for my family it was just the right amount. It had a variety of everything...love the waffle maker and coffee/orange juice machine, etc !!! Great staff, very helpful since the time we checked in to checkout..I have stayed at the hamptons and Hyatt before, but i am switching to best westerns hotel....thanks cederpark/best Western for a great easter weekend
It sounded like there was a drug war upstairs half the night. No sleep and there was no parking. We worried that our vehicle would be vandalized. If it had been warm enough to swim, I wouldn't put my alligator in that pool.
Hotel was very clean and tidy. Room very quiet. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Great location, easy walk to restaurants. Employees were friendly and helpful. Been in alit of Best Westerns and this is one of the best
The room was clean, service was good. Wish they had sample or travel toothpaste available in the rooms. The AC was very good at keeping cool. Nice and roomy rooms! Very quiet and I liked that the rooms were dark for better sleep.
Went to stay here due to the location and that it served breakfast. It was pretty quiet considering you are right next to the parking lot, bed was good, air/heater was good and overall pretty darn clean. Next morning went to breakfast and I was the only one there which felt a little strange, but they had set me back some eggs and overall it was a pretty good breakfast. I wont stay here again only due to the fact I felt a little unsafe by myself walking through the parking lot. It needs to be a little more lit, lots of truckers choose this place, it was fairly busy for a week day. If it was hubby and I, I would definitely stay there again.
Very clean room and property, good and complete breakfast, helpful staff, big room size, excellent seafood cafe next door, and in but walking steps of several shops. This BW is but steps to the daytrip train station and at/on major highways to the lakes, hill country excursions and ready access to Austin stuff. Room had "plus" level bath and coffee bar things as well as the microwave, refrigerator, and bedding. Looks newly redecorated. Generally, a smaller place building, but nicer than five of the other upperscale motels I typically stay at or have stayed in within Cedar Park. Very safe location too it seems, has a large pool, an exercise room, and is at a good, bargain price.
Tired to over charge me at checking them tried to get me to reserve the higher amount on my card despiteshowing the asian man my booking reciept. Pool was filthy with unbelievably huge amounts of rubbish / dirt in the pool and the room was really noisy with a bar / restaurant next door and a railway directly behind the rooms
I stayed at this hotel with a friend for about a week. The service was excellent and friendly. We loved the breakfast bar, especially the Texas-shaped waffles. The beds were very comfortable. There are gazillions of restaurants within walking distance. Overall this hotel is excellent for the price. The only downside to this hotel is that it's a little out of the way if you're visiting Austin, but if you have a car and a lick of patience that's not a problem.
Room was clean. Property was quiet. Room was more updated than we expected. However, this is a motel and it looks and feels like one. Therefore, it meets expectations. When we stayed, it was around $90 a night and I can see today, as I write this review, it is $120 a night, and I would not, would NOT pay a penny more than what I paid for this place. Not a chance I would pay over $100 for this place with other options nearby. The AC unit smelled funky. It cooled the room yes, but I woke up with awful congestion both mornings. The pool is not something I would go in, but I'm kind of a snob.
I stayed one night only. It's not an easy place to find -even with Sat Nav and we drove past 3 times before spotting it off the road. They really should look into some road front signage as its in the middle of a chunk of retail. The greeting on arrival was friendly enough -the lobby is small. The motel basically comprises 2 storeys of rooms facing onto the car park and small (and uninviting) outdoor pool. At the back there is a rail line which may be part of the rail museum but there is also a live rail line running close by and some train whistles (although not early morning or late at night). The room was clean enough and of a generous size. The free breakfast was ok. I can see this a good place for passing thru the area.
We were in town for a family gathering and stayed three days. The service was impeccable and the room was large enough for a family of four to be comfortable. The kids used the pool and enjoyed that as well.
Due to location and convenience my friend booked me at this hotel. I was apprehensive but once I checked in I had a great experience. The motel is impeccably kept and rooms have a fridge and microwave and the rooms are updated. There are many services right by this hotel as well as bars and places to eat. There is also a grocery story just down the street. I would stay here again based on my experience.
Clean. First word to describe this place. There were none of the issues that tend to bug me at a motel. This place is nestled in a shopping center so it was a bit hard to find so look for an old fashion train water tower. The clerks are friendly and helpful. This is a small motel and seems quiet and secure. My visit is 4 days and I will stay here again when I visit again
We arrived early but was allowed to check in within an hour when the room was ready. It was clean and the staff very friendly. We will definitely stay here again. The location made it easy to walk for additional meals, (breakfast was delicious) and to walk to our destination, the Austin Steam Train.
I was super pleased with this hotel! My wife & I are on a long 25 day trip across the US. We have stayed in some La Quinta's & Quality Inn's along the way that were horrible! This hotel was spacious, clean, well kept & the staff was very courteous & helpful! They seem to care about bringing people in. There was some construction but it did not effect our stay at all. The wi-fi was great and the pool was clean. We will be back when we visit our friends in Austin!!!!!
The big plus of this hotel, and why we stayed, was the pool. Most everything else was adequate to fine. On the minus side the carpet was so dirty that walking barefoot I had greyish marks on the soles of my feet, the jacuzzi didn't work, and the coffeemaker quit after making 1 cup of coffee.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, but the area where breakfast was served could have been improved upon. The tables and chairs were very close together and people were stepping around each other. The food was warm, not hot and the eggs were in little patties. We have stayed in Best Western a lot over the years and the breakfast is usually pretty good. I will probably return to this hotel but I will eat breakfast somewhere else.
Our only prlolem was people outside our door talking to loud late at night. We did have a lower room on the first floor and I appreciate that and the room was clean, comfortable. TV worked excellent. The brand of coffee in the room was tasty, and the selection of soap for bath was good. Breakfast was warm and good.
Excellent location, except for access to opposite side of a very busy boulevard. The swimming pool was very clean and handy. Close to very good restaurants, especially the one next door, "THE SURF AND TURF".
My family and I visited Cedar Park for a graduation and stayed at BW for one night. I am super picky but was completely satisfied- actually beyond satisfied. The room was modern, spacious, and most important- CLEAN!!!! Front desk staff members were very polite as well...the hotel was also very quiet....and had many, many, restaurants in walking distance... would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was in a great location, easy to get to all of our destinations. Very clean and friendly staff. Our remote did not work upon arrival and it was late but they took care of that immediately. Very good sized room and comfortable.
The owners of this lovely hotel were very kind. Friendly staff, easy check in and easy check out, reasonable price. The room was clean, comfortable and very nice. The hotel location was great. Overall, it was the perfect place to stop for the evening.
On May 11, 2016 we stayed here for one night. Room 108 was very comfortable. Gentleman at check in was very helpful. Lady at check out was friendly. She also set out breakfast items. Breakfast had a nice selection of items. We did not go hungry. Room was nicely appointed but a bit stuffy when we walked in. AC unit worked very well. Glad we travel with air plugs since the unit kept cycling on. When "off", the room got stuffy quickly. It was muggy outside. Plenty of parking. We had a nice one night stay.
The room was clean and quiet. We have family in this area and our experience with the other hotels in the area has not bee great. Most of them are overpriced. But this hotel was great. The room was affordable, and the staff even checked in us to make sure the room suited our needs and to see if we needed anything additional in the room. Very courteous staff, they were quick to address our needs.
I got free breakfast, friendly staff, a clean room, modern fixtures, nice pool, perfect hotel and an excellent value. There restaurants and shopping nearby with easy access to the 183A toll road. I'll be back next year!
The room was spacious and clean. They have a super nice staff, a good breakfast, and comfortable beds. The best place to stay if your are taking the steam train trip, the station is next door. The restaurant next door was also good. Next trip to Austin I will stay there.
We booked this hotel because it was located close to the concert venue. Super friendly check in, very nice maid who brought us extra towels, extremely clean room with both a microwave and mini-fridge. Landscaping is beautiful and grounds and pool are well kept. We definitely recommend this hotel - great value for your money.
This was a great place to stay at! Better than 2 previous higher dollar hotels I stayed at. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff, quiet, eateries close by. Excellent shower and water pressure. Spacious rooms and exterior well lit. Good hot breakfast! Would definitely stay here again if in area!
This was just for an overnight stay. The check-in was easy, friendly staff, very professional, the room was very clean and spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the shower was awesome (great water pressure). The breakfast was good with many options to choose. Only downside was that my room was right next to the pool (room 109). There were kids playing in the pool and they were pretty noisy. The hotel was full so I did not have a choice of changing rooms. Luckily it was late afternoon and it started to rain so the kids left. The pool stays open till 10:00. It would not have been a pleasant situation had the kids stayed in the pool till closing. But other than that, i enjoyed my stay very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.
I came in with pain because I had surgery 3 weeks ago. This was a very busy week. All the hotels were filled. The Best Western had 2 rooms but they were not cleaned and they had call ins. So the owner allowed me to occupy a room that was Internet arranged because she was concerned with my condition. So she made other arrangements to have the other room for the Internet folks cleaned and ready. This was at 9:30 in the evening. I did appreciate it so much.
Traveled with my husband and my daughter and her family. We had 2 king size rooms. The rooms were great: comfy beds, nice TVs, great bathrooms, very good facilities. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. It was close to the Cedar Park Center, which was the purpose of the trip. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
Our room (120) was great...quiet, comfy & inviting. Modern decor - looks new. Bed was huge & extremely comfy, had a great nights sleep. In a good location, lots of restaurants etc nearby. Cedar Park Center very close which was the main reason we picked this hotel. Defiantly recommend & would stay here again if ever in Cedar Park again. Only downside was that the jacuzzi was not working in our room but we were informed of this upon check-in.
This hotel turned out to be the perfect choice for my needs. The staff was courteous, competent and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked! The location could not have been better with a supermarket nearby and a very good restaurant next door. The variety of selections at breakfast was a nice surprise as well.
I chose this hotel due to price and I've stayed at a number of Best Western hotels. The staff was very kind and really seemed to want to go out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave oven in the room.
The staff were very curteous and very efficient. The room was so nice and clean and kept that way during out stay. Coming back to the room each night was so nice to find a clean room. And check out was done efficiently and quickly too.
This hotel is very clean, the owners are really friendly and connected to visitors needs. The breakfast was really a full breakfast in the lobby but was quite pleasant while eating. The rooms were quite clean and everything was in order. I would recommend it and there is also a very nice restaurant next door so we didn't have to drive off the premises.
The rooms were clean but simple. The Toto is wedged between a strip mall and office buildings on a busy street. It is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants in the area. The pool is a bit of a joke being outdoor in the middle of the parking lot with no privacy. The rooms are accessed from outside which, personal preference, makes me uneasy about security. Check in was fast and friendly. If you are looking for a budget hotel, this one will do fine.
Yes, this is an older style property, but sometimes older is better. The rooms are larger, and very well maintained. The lobby is small but it easily handled the breakfast crowd. The breakfast buffet was well presented and kept well stocked by a very friendly and helpful staff person. Check in was very fast, but the information about breakfast was omitted. That was easily corrected by consulting the in room hotel information sheet. As is the case in many older hotels, there is no elevator, so if that is important to you, remember to request a first floor room. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend that you give them a try if your travels take you to Cedar Park, Texas.
This was the second time this year that we stayed at a Best Western hotels in the Cedar Park and George Town areas. The Staff were extremely friendly and the beds are very comfortable. So long La Quinta and hello Best Western. A great value.
Clean spacious room, quiet, very friendly and accommodating staff all for a really good price. I needed to ammend my reservation and add a guest which they did quickly and with no extra charges. Nice clean breakfast included. Exactly what I was looking for and will definitely go back on my next visit.
We drove down to Cedar Park to see our two older grandkids for dinner. First time to stay at Best Western there. Clean and staff nice and breakfast was really good. Near lots of places to eat and shop. Was quiet.
On entrance we were met with very pleasant employees. Everyone we met during our stay was the same & exceptionally efficient. Made you feel at home. The rooms were very nice & updated & clean. The breakfast had a nice variety & very tasty.Checking out-the next morning was very easy. Definitely recommended.
i was surprised at the size of the bathroom..very large, very nice. The room was very clean. There was at least 2 restaurants that you could walk to(next door). The breakfast had good choices and the wonderful waffles that i love.
For an older building, The building and facilities were very up to date. I am very seldom impressed and this room did. I was not expecting the quality nor the service. I had picked the motel due to the location. Most everything I needed was in walking distance.
We were in Austin for our Granddaughter's wedding and stayed at the Best Western Cedar Park two nights. The staff is wonderful there, the hotel is clean, beds are good and it is quiet. We always stay at this hotel when in the Austin area.
Excellent Again this year while in Austin area for UT game. Asked for quiet area and received it. Check in and out was speedy. Staff was very pleasant and the cleaning lady was as swift and efficient as I've ever seen. Easy access to expessway to campus/capitol area and hill country to the northwest. Not the managers' fault but motel was squeezed in to small space that makes parking unavailable on full night. We always stay two nights.
First time to stay here, but will definitely return- spacious, clean rooms with refrigerator & microwave. Bath/Shower got hot water in seconds, not minutes. Great breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, toast/biscuits, juices& hot coffee ( regular or decaf). Have a relative that works for Marriott and get good pricing there, but price and amenities were Great here. Will Be Back
Stayed for one night, room was spotless but the overall quality was more that of a cheaper brand hotel, not a Best Western. We were disappointed also in the breakfast. We paid a fairly high price, we had just stayed in a Comfort Suites at a much lower price which was of a much higher standard, so would not stay again here.
This is the second time we have stayed here. The rooms are very clean and everything worked well. There are sufficient electric outlets for charging. Breakfast is reasonable. ...your usual eggs, sausage, biscuits, yougurt, fruit, cereals, breads, etc. Everything was refreshed as it ran low. Wify works well. Nice little outside pool. Desk clerks were friendly. Only negative was I had to look for and wait for someone to check me out.
What a nice surprise. We were greeted by a very nice man and we we given a lovely room. The room was spic and span. The bed was very comfortable, the TV worked well, our drinks were kept cold in a very clean refrigerator and we were not bothered by noise. Breakfast was very nice and coffee was especially good. The food was fresh and a very nice woman made sure that we did not run out of breakfast items. She also made sure that the eating section was kept spotless. The motel was located fairly close to our family and we considered it a very lucky find.
A clean and well decorated hotel, with clean rooms, good carpets and clean toilets. Loved the microwave and coffee maker. A good western breakfast and most importantly friendly staff with a workout gym and pool.
Booked through Priceline. It was easy to check in and check out. Very quiet with large rooms. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to family/friends We stayed only one night to be in Austin area for a family get together.
