Hotel is by the interstate highway so in a good location. It is not noisy despite this. They offer amenities such as Internet WiFi, gym n breakfast. They also have an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. It provides a safe and secure location. I'm able to get a comfortable sleep. It provides efficient check in and out. The staff here is amazing, each one of them. Good value for your money. I always come back to this BW location and tell my friends about it.
Nice hotel located in convenient location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean and breakfast was nice.
Hotel is in a great location with good amenities such as complimentary Internet WiFi, gym n breakfast. It provides a safe and secure location and accessibility since it's near the highway. I'm able to get a comfortable sleep. It provides efficient check in and out. Staff is all very friendly. Good value for your money. I definitely come back to this BW location
This was our third hotel stay out of four during a weeklong trip. However, it had both the best breakfast and best value for money spent of our whole trip. I highly recommend this hotel! This was also the only time during our trip when we could have used the pool. However, a windstorm prevented our ability to do so. The room was clean and the environment quiet. We booked this hotel for its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. I would book this hotel again for the breakfast alone! Great job Best Western!
As many frequent travelers realize, Best Western plus can be a hit or miss situation. While, I would never stay in a Best Western regular due to “lower” quality, every now and then I will stay at a Best Western plus. This Best Western plus however, is just as new and modern as any other chain and is clean. The staff is wonderful and there is EV charging for free which is a perfect amenity and all hotels should have this. Very much recommend this you will feel like you're in any major brand hotel. It is brand new and modern and is definitely recommended.
Room were big, clean and spacious! You could tell this hotel was relatively new Pool area and hot tub were a huge plus Breakfast was good also We only stayed here bc it was close to freeway to get to Joshua tree approx 45min, but def glad we stayed here would 100% stay again
This is a great hotel for business travel. Full breakfast is included, and the fitness center is among the best I have seen in a hotel. Full dumbbell weight set and multiple cardio machines. The rooms all have desk and room to work, as well as a separate sitting area. The hotel room is always clean, with a choice of daily housekeeping. The rooms are quiet, with little to noise from adjoining areas or rooms, including the pool area. The lobby staff is truly great and accommodating. They always remember me from previous trips and remember my preferences and confirm they still apply. Overall, it is a great location and atmosphere, with easy access to major travel connections. Numerous food choices nearby. A great hotel for business travel, a great value for business travel .
We had the best stay a hotel has offered us in a really long time! All of the staff was friendly and helpful, we were greeted with smiles and sometimes the staff went above and beyond to help make our stay more comfortable. The rooms were pristine, and while most hotel carpets feel dirty, our room's carpet and the hallway carpets felt and looked clean. My favorite part was the location of the pool on the side of the building so it was not facing guest windows and was surrounded by a brick privacy wall. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from and there was plenty of parking. 10/10 will stay here again!
Best Western Plus ciachella is one of the best best Western locations I've ever been to. We go back there so often because of its great location, awesome staff who's always waiting to help and very accommodating, very good hearty breakfast,. It also provides complimentary fitness room and Internet.
Coffee!!! Went to the lobby to get a cup of coffee in the morning at 6:40 am. No coffee!!! A staff person was kind of working on it, but no estimate when it might be available. A sign in our room said that FRESH coffee is available in the lobby 24 hours a day. Tough to get up and get going without coffee. If you don't have it, don't advertise it!
The hotel itself is nice, clean and well maintained. Upon arriving at our room on the 3rd night the door was left ajar by the housekeeping stuff. This left all our things available for theft.
The hotel is relatively new, everything was clean and in it's place, and it's conveniently located near the 10 to quickly get around the valley.
Room was large and shower pressure was very good. Nice options for provided wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and soap. All the staff we encountered were friendly. No coffee Keurig-style pot in room but you can request one (we did). Nice 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby with gourmet options. We like that the area was "down to earth" and not so posh as other hotel options. About 5 minute drive to the casino if that's your thing. Right off the freeway, clean, quiet and big enough to spread out. AC worked great and I like that we could turn it off. The fridge and microwave were convenient. Our room was on the freeway side but the noise was decently muffled. Next time, we'll ask for the non-freeway side. The price was excellent for our stay (and we didn't stay in the room long). We didn't use the pool or gym so we can't comment on that.
Best western plus desert view Inn and suites is in a great location because it is very near the highway. It can be windy at times. But the great thing is, they have a great staff, good selection for breakfast, pool, Fitness center, Wi-Fi, Electric car charger.
Arrival was easy, (parking, check in a as folks at front desk were very helpful and efficient) 24hr coffee maker in lobby for regular decaf latte cappuccino hot choc etc. rooms are will lit and very clean, fridge (with freezer top) and microwave in rooms... bath stocked with Pharmacopia both bar soaps and wall dispensers, beds on medium side of softness and pillows I liked but wife said too small lol. Breakfast was your average free style but not crowded at least on this day. Bagels/toast, oranges apples, scrambled, bacon, waffle maker, cereals, yogurt and juice dispensers, pre-made oatmeal, etc. All n all a nice value centrally located for Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and many fast-food or better restaurants nearby.
One of the best experiences we've ever had in a hotel. Very clean. Spacious rooms. Comfortable Beds. Great customer service. Hot, delicious breakfast. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
This is my go-to hotel when traveling from AZ to CA. It is right off the freeway near Palm Springs but quiet inside the gleaming clean hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The king suite is huge, with an adjacent living area and kitchen area (no kitchen stuff like silverware or bowls) but large fridge and microwave). Breakfast is great with oatmeal, eggs, bacon/sausage, gluten free Udi muffins etc. as well as a latte/coffee machine. The reason I return here is the convenience, the outdoor pool and hot tub to dip in…nothing fancy…the cleanliness… but most of all the extremely friendly and inviting staff, including front desk and the cleaning staff on the floors. Very reasonably priced.
The staff was courteous and helpful with a very late arrival. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Electric car charging in the parking lot. Freeway adjacent which was convenient, but the room was quiet. Perfect hotel for business trip.
we booked a room last minute and arrived late. I think it might have been 2AM and the front desk girl was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. and very helpful. A lot of times when you check into a hotel that late they act annoyed. I loved that it was so easy to find and right off the freeway. When I pulled in a noticed that the EV chargers were all blocked. Well 2 used and 2 non ev parked there and not charging. I needed to charge so I asked the girl. She informed me that there was another charger in the back. Sure enough I found it and it had a nice long cord so if it was blocked you could park 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 spots over and charge no problem. Free charging was great. The rooms are nice and big. I didn't shower so I can't comment on that. But the TV worked great and the bed was comfortable enough. I found it slightly firmer than I like. But I slept great. We woke up at 9 so we missed the breakfast I can't comment about that. Luckily, the Starbucks across the parking lot was very convenient. The only thing I would say is that I found the hotel slightly smelly. Not only our room but the hall and lobby. Seems like an easy fix. The next night we got to our room in Santa monica which was an expensive upscale hotel. The valet gave me a hard time charging. Kind of the opposite experience from Best western which was supper easy. This hotel smelled good. The rooms were really clean. And of course the staff was nice or snobby. My point is this best western gets 5 stars because I felt more comfortable here than the fancy restaurant. And at the end of the day getting a good night sleep and charging my EV were the 2 most important things. I can live with cleanish. And the value for me was great. When I checked out the guy was again super helpful and friendly. Kind of opposite of the fancy hotel in Santa Monica.
Staff extremely friendly. Location is fantastic, next to a gas station, McDonalds and Starbucks. Across the road from the Aqua Caliente Casino and literally minutes from Costco etc. Room was really comfy, huge bathroom, great TV and the HVAC worked properly. Parking was easy, right next to the property. Would stay again if needed and night or two while in the area.
From check in to check out staff was informative and room very nice! Breakfast was good! We were impressed with night security, as we returned late from concert but felt comfortable when we saw him! Great choice if your looking for a fun at casino or shopping just down the way, this is a great place and not far from Palm Springs 😀
This hotel is on the border of Thousand Palms and Cathedral city. It's freeway close. Excellent full breakfast. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean and quiet. The front desk is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
First, the address is confusing. This site says the hotel is in Thousand Palms, but the hotel's own publicity says it's in Cathedral City. This contradiction confused our GPS, which was unable to locate the hotel at all. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere (except that it's convenient to I-10), and there's nothing within walking distance except MacDonalds and Taco Bell. Second, we arrived with an email receipt from Best Western saying we had paid in advance, in full, and owed nothing to the hotel when we checked in. At the front desk, we were told that we had to pay in full, then and there. They couldn't explain the email we'd received. This was disconcerting. Third, they were unable to provide a map of the area, a list of local restaurants, or any literature about local attractions, such as Joshua Tree National Park or the Living Desert Zoo. I've never experienced this total lack before. They did have a flyer from a sushi restaurant (Joyce's), which proved to be better than average. But nothing else. They had to be reminded that we're Best Western members and so we're entitled to bottled water. The room was very spacious, and they accommodated our request for a quiet room by putting us on the top floor (4), facing away from I-10 freeway traffic noise. The beds were ok, but mine sloped to my left as I lay face-up. Mattresses need to be rotated from time to time. This hadn't been done. Like most hotels today, the beds come with duvets. These are always too hot for me, so I carry my own light blanket with me when I travel. The breakfast was typical of such places--minimal. The gym was ok. All in all, a slightly less-than-average experience.
Nice location, well kept, clean rooms. Easy access and we priced. As usual, the price you get when you call directly is better than the online options. Also, very close to a local brewery which we have enjoyed several times. This is our 2nd time staying here on the way to So.Cal.
The hotel was spotlessly clean. We left our diabetes medications in the fridge, and the housekeeper found it. The friendly front-desk attendant called us and we were able to retrieve the medications without spoiling our vacation. It is the BEST Best Western anywhere!
This was are first time staying here. Good value for the money. Nice welcoming staff and clean and well maintained. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was well organized and reasonable selection. We would stay there again.
Great newer hotel. The room was great and everything was new and fresh, the pool and hot tub were great . The evening clerk was very helpful and answered all my questions. It is nice and peaceful and not too far from Costco and great restaurants. While you can't really enjoy the mountains from the pool area, it was nice and peaceful to enjoy with a cocktail.
I stay at Best Westerns all throughout the country and this has to be the best one from what I can recall. The cleanliness, ample parking and being located a 2 minute walk to a gas station really helped when my kids needed some PeptoBismal. Highest value from any hotel I think in probably 20 years.
I keep coming back to this hotel because of its staff. The location is great, it is near the highway. Breakfast is good, has a lot of variety. The staff is amazing, they are very respectful. Hotel has EV chargers which makes it even better. There is a fitness center, swimming pool and jacuzzi
This hotel stay was a late evening arrival and an early morning departure. It's conveniently located. The parking lot was nicely lit with plenty of space. It's right by a McDonalds restaurant. If highway noise is of particular concern to you, ask for a room on the back side of the building. The noise did not bother my sleep. Our rooms were clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable. I appreciated the room darkening curtains. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The potatoes were delicious and above average from my experience at many BW hotels. My daughter appreciated them offering packaged gluten free muffins. If you're in the area. I recommend this hotel.
This is a very clean hotel with helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious. The pool is clean. We needed change for the washing machine and the desk didn't have it at first. They called later to let us know they had gotten change. The breakfast area is also clean and offers many choices. If you like to stay at Best Westerns, try this one. It was a great stay.
The staff here were excellent and welcoming. The manager was pleasant and he acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. The area is super clean and spacious. The beds are as comfortable as expected at these hotels. Some of the best beds in the hotel industry.
We enjoyed our stay here. It's clean, comfortable, and has everything you need here on site. The breakfast is better than other hotels and has more options. There's coffee and tea available 24/7. There's a gym and washer/dryer here. The pool is clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. And there's a security guard patrolling the parking lot at night so I feel safer. I have no reason to try another hotel. I love it here.
Very quiet and clean, even though next to I-10. Nice hot breakfast. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Felt very safe parking and in room.
Had a great night and will definitely stay there again in the future. My family and I enjoyed the night and had a great breakfast. Friendly staff.
I stay at Best Western frequently but will think twice after this stay. Understaffed, bed was uncomfortable, felt like I had to hang on or slide off to the floor.
Excellent Front Desk Service for arrivals. A beautiful modern facility with clean rooms and excellent breakfast area with an array of items. If you are travelling I would recommend this Best Western Plus. Located near Interstate 10. Great internet service.
Room was clean with all amenities. Staff was nice and accommodating. Continental breakfast was basic (just as expected). The coffee was less appealing.
Nice rooms and friendly front counter staff. Full breakfast needs more options eggs and sausage only, no potato's or other hot options. Waffles take too long and created long line and wait. Everything else was great.
This is a nice hotel and very convenient location. It would be nice if there was covered parking at the hotel.
Great place to use as gateway to Joshua Tree NP from the Cottonwood side. The hotel has the new feel and proximity to Aqua Calientes Casino is a plus. The Casino gas station offers great prices.
Our stay for 2 nights was perfect, everything we expected for what we paid. Room was clean with all amenities working within and plenty of room too which was great, with hot drinks machine in reception area available 24/7. Breakfast was great with hot options (bagel/toast/waffle/eggs/bacon) & cereal/yoghurts. Made use of the laundry room which was easy to use (machine takes quarters which I was able to change up at the desk). All staff were very friendly & welcoming. We did use the pool outside which was dirty (bugs & dirt in) however given the strong winds day before and overnight it's understandable. Would stay again!
I always stay here when I come to the desert. The staff are the best. Very cautious, kind thoughtful, and hard-working. They have become my second family. Breakfast has a lot of variety. Room is spacious. There's a gym in house. They have an EV charger, which is an additional bonus.
This hotel is a good choice for a business stay. Clean, comfortable, good location and hot breakfast included for a good value. I will be staying here again
We paid around $300 a night for seven nights at this hotel. The room was fine, but we will never understand how hotels like this embrace such a "disposable" culture.. Disposable everything at breakfast and in the room. Other brands like Staybridge Suites do this so much better and often at less cost. We will always choose a brand that offers a more comfortable experience overall. We thought that the "Plus" in Best Western Plus would count for something, but it really doesn't. Stay somewhere else if you value the customer experience.
Great place to stay, very convenient!! I have stayed here before and will again. a lot of places to eat nearby and great freeway access! very comfortable rooms and the employees are the best!! you won't regret staying here.
I had a great stay at this hotel. It's right off the freeway so very easy to locate and to get to both Palm Springs and Palm Desert. The room was very clean and spacious. Complimentary breakfast had a variety of options including gluten-free muffins, chobani yogurt and a coffee machine that quickly made lattes, espressos and more. I recommend staying here!
Newer hotel. Very nice. Only thing is they didn't have quarters for our laundry. Had to drive around to different gas stations and convenience stores finally got enough to do our laundry. There was no public laundromat outside of this Best Western.
Stayed at the hotel for 1 night instead of 2 nights -disappointing stay staff was nice ,when we entered the room it was not cleaned well hairs found in sink -countertop, toilet and shower , room not dusted on nightstands did not feel comfortable , Too close to the freeway and could hear loud trucks cars all night long -hard to sleep so we checked out a day earlier than planned
Had an amazing stay and the staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we felt very safe in the hotel. I am definitely looking forward to staying here very soon.
I stayed at 5 BW's in a couple of months and this would rate #2. The overall condition of the property was good. It is by the freeway, but quiet. They have a full, hot breakfast. I enjoyed the small but adequate workout room, which most of the BW's do not have.
The hotel accommodations are pleasant and comfortable. The surrounding area is quiet. There is also a gas station, McDonald's and Starbucks next to the hotel. Right over the bridge less than a mile away is the casino. Freeway access on and off is easy. Definitely will stay there again!
Very clean hotel. Spacious rooms. Breakfast was decent. The best thing was the price. Very affordable and within driving distance from downtown Palm Springs. We stayed there to visit Joshua Tree National park. It was a about a 50 minute drive to the park.
This hotel was amazing, gigantic suite room, super clean, super quiet and great free breakfast! Also free parking and located in safe location. Will definitely stay here again!! Best Best Western we have ever stayed at!! And we've stayed at many
This was a very nice hotel. It was just a stop over for us. Our room was VERY large, with 2 TVs and a living room. The breakfast was OK, I've had better. The big issue was the lack of sound proofing - you could hear people next door, upstairs and in the hall, and it was just normal conversations and walking around. Luckily, I always travel with ear plugs so it wasn't an issue for me.
I got the room to lodge family who were visiting for Thanksgiving as I don't have enough room for several houseguests. Since I always go BW, it was a natural for me to go with my local BW. They reported everything was great (as I expected it would be). If you're getting accommodations for a room you're not going to use yourself, be aware you have to go through some extra steps so that payment and identities are all verifiable which is totally understanable. Maybe I turned my family into BW fans? Hope so...
This Hotel is brand new. It's very clean and modern. Lots of room space. The walk in shower is awesome. It's next to the I-10 freeway…so very convenient and no freeway noise. Staff is fantastic. Breakfast was very well prepared. Highly recommend this property. If staying in the Palm Springs area you will need a car. There are some fast food options within walking distance. We will be back.

Everything was wonderful! Hotel is conveniently located, and even though it's close to the freeway, there was very little traffic noise. The rooms are large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. There's plenty of seating in the breakfast area, and they have a machine available all day for coffees, hot chocolate, and tea. Would definitely stay again!
Thank you for your kind comments regarding your recent stay with us. They will be shared with our team for acknowledgement and encouragement. We look forward to serving your lodging needs in the future.
I would come back to this hotel again in the future. The location is great, it is near the highway. Breakfast is good, has a lot of variety. The staff is amazing, they are very respectful. Hotel has EV chargers which makes it even better.

Applied $50 BW promo credit at reservation time, which was reflected in the total amount ... but upon check-in and check-out ... NO CREDIT! Clerk at check-in said it would be applied at check-out ... but at check-out, still no credit! This is the 3rd time encountering problems utilizing Best Western promotions.
Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us, and our apologies that things didn't go as smoothly as either one of us would have preferred. There have been a few bugs with the gift card program, but our records showed that we resolved your issue 9/10/23. Please let us know if that is not the case.
Flew in the day before Hillary came through, so as to avoid any issues. On the Sunday it hit, the staff went to great lengths to make sure their guests and staff were well taken care of. Attended a 5-day school that week, and there aren't enough words to describe how grateful we are for David and the entire staff. They navigated the challenges with excellence, and were available for whatever we needed. The breakfast was great. The room (4th floor) was perfect for what I needed. This place is a gem. Highly recommended.
Thank you so much for your kind words regarding your recent stay with us. You described the kind of guest experience we endeavor to create for all of our guests, and we're glad to see that we hit the mark for you. BTW, your group was a big hit with our team. Thank you for your patience as we hustled to make all the pieces fall into place for you. We're all looking forward to your return. Best to you in the meantime. Take care and be joyful.
Stayed here first time. Usually stay at Best Western in downtown Palm Springs when in this area but it was a little pricey this time so we found this. Much better pricing. We actually loved everything about it. Nothing to complain about. We will be staying here again the next time in Palm Springs area. Our room was on the top floor (4th). Very comfortable with well working A/C. We had microwave and good size refrigerator. It was very clean and seemed recently renovated. Much nicer looking than some BW's we have stayed at recently. The front desk employees were all very friendly and helpful, even allowing up to checkout 1 hour later at noon as I was up most of the night in Joshua Tree watching the Perseid Meteor Shower so was very tired in the morning. The breakfast buffet was great (I would say 9 out of 10). It had all the things you expect or at least hope for from a BW breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, packs of Quaker Oat oatmeal (and already made oatmeal), yogert, 3 different dry cereals with non-fat and 2% milk, bagels, english muffins, bread for sandwiches, mini muffins, peanut butter, butter, jelly, cream cheese, 3 different choices of juices: Apple, Orange, and a combo Passion-mango-orange which I loved. When we were there, plenty of tables to accommodate those there. I think it was 7am - 10am. Really nice, the lobby had a 24/7 automated coffee machine that you just press a button to choose Latte, Cappuccino, decaf black coffee, Mocha, hot chocolate, etc). Although we didn't use the pool (open until 10pm), I did check it out and the pool and hot tub look very nice and clean. I tested the water jets on hot tub and they were fine. The water temperature on both seemed about right to me. Plenty of clean towels available at the pool as well as a restroom you could use. Parking seemed adequate, there were parking spots right next store for any overflow needs. Convenient access to Hwy 10. I don't think we really checked the hotel wifi because there was 4 bars for our T-mobile service so we just used that. This really was what I hope for when I stay at a Best Western and was not disappointed with anything there. I had a $50 BW travel voucher which I showed at checkin and he made copy of which was correctly applied to our room in the morning. Also there is a McDonalds walking distance from hotel and I think a Starbucks
Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. You mentioned issues that we try to do our best at all the time. If we ever fall short of your expectations don't hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you, again. Happy travelling days to you!
Everything was perfect for me here. Great location to move about the area, very clean room, great breakfast, good internet access, incredibly nice front desk folks. All the boxes checked! Will be back whenever I am in the area!
We wanted to book a room close to the freeway. So glad we booked here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again as we are driving through. We highly recommend!
It was very quiet and not busy which was great. Both check in and out was a breeze. The size and cleanliness of room was great for my 2 friends. I wish I utilized the amenities like pool and breakfast. It was a perfect distance from the Acrisure Arena which was where I attended a concert.
Thank for your kind words. Hope to see you back soon.
This place checks all the boxes: clean, attractive, comfortable, and good service. Spacious rooms with modern shower-only bathrooms. Fast WiFi, and cold a/c. The mattress was ready for replacement, but not terrible. Breakfast was good with lots of seating and even a cappuccino maker.
This hotel provides all night J1772 car charging for free which is reliable. I am not sure why it is not listed in there information but 4 car electric car charger spots are there. Not sure how many kilawatts but I think it is 7kw.
Thank you. We will contact our web manager and make sure the charging stations are listed.
Located next to the interstate junction. There is nothing wrong with the hotel, but OMG the wind constantly blowing would drive you crazy. Maybe on the entrance side there could be less wind. Breakfast is good, rooms good, staff friendly. There is a small pool for cooling down.
Using my rewards we decided to stay a night as it was free with the rewards we had dinner, walked along the river had ice cream all and all a nice time we don't get to be alone much so we decided to stay there since it wasn't to far from home.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to our survey regarding your recent stay with us. We strive to provide an enjoyable experience for our guests, and your comments will be shared with our team for acknowledgement and encouragement. We look forward to serving your lodging needs in the future
The room was very clean and spacious. The carpet looked new and clean, and the room smelled nice. The staff was friendly and made check in easy and fast. The complimentary breakfast was good and the coffee was great.
I selected this hotel after reviewing several others in the area (reviews, cost, & ammenities considered). I'm so glad I decided on this hotel! I was attending a show at Agua Caliente, which is less than 3 min from the hotel; super easy to get to. I was kindly greeted upon my arrival, while the front desk verfied all my requests (ie extra pillows) prior to confirming my room, & giving me the keys. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the lobby has a machine for tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available 24/7 for your access.--all rooms also include a coffee maker, microwave, & mini fridge (fairly large). The front desk was so kind to also provide bottled water at check in. I am a little picky, and a bit of a clean freak when it comes to hotels, but this one definitely met my standards. Everything was clean upon my arrival, and the room was inspected by Dave (the manager?) prior to me entering. He also kindly checked in to ask if I needed anything before settling in. What a professional, who goes above & beyond! At night, I returned to the hotel & saw the security guard walking the premises, and physically inspecting the car stalls with a flashlight to make sure that the area was secure. I have never seen this before! Kudos to the hotel for hiring people who care about their jobs & exceed the minimum standard. I will not hesitate to return here on a future visit to the area. What a pleasant experience. My only request is, if possible, to make the tv's smart somehow, or enable screen mirroring (from your phone) so that apps (like Netflix) could be streamed. Since most people visiting are likely attending shows/concerts, it's not a make or break. They have a fitness center & pool/hot tub too, and generously provide complimentary breakfast. Plenty to keep you occupied. Thanks for a great experience!!
Husband and I visited Palm Springs for a concert event. I booked the rooms at Best Western, two reasons, I'm a member, and second the hotel was close to the event. We were very happy with our stay. We arrived one hour before check-in, delighted to find out that our room was ready and we were upgraded. Andrew checked us in, he was very pleasant and professional. We did have an issue with the floor our first room was on. I went back to speak to Andrew about my concern and he quickly moved us to another floor. The rooms were very clean, spacious, comfortable and they have coffee Keurig in the room. They pool and outside spa was in great shape. Spa was very clean and at a good temperature. Breakfast was great, lots of choices, waffle maker, fruit, bagels, eggs, sausage, etc. Check-out is at 11am. We requested a later check out, the gave us until noon. Staff was very nice. Overall stay was great!!!
It was a little bit pricey but overall, it was clean, safe and the staff was really kind. My aunt was so happy with the coffee service too. That was unexpected and again, my aunt complains about everything and this was the first time she didn't complain.
From check in to check out this hotel is much to be desired. I have never stayed at a hotel where they made you feel like you were a criminal and watching your every move. From the front desk (Andrew) to security as well as maintenance, this hotel treats its customers with no dignity. I am a diamond status member at another hotel chain where customer service is recognized. Where they treat their customers with respect. Unfortunately this particular property is not, at least most, has any clue on how to treat their well paying clients. I guess that's what you get when dealing with a hotel chain that's on the lower end of the spectrum.
This was our second time staying here in three months. We would definitely stay again if passing through the area. Michele who checked us in was very helpful. I had just bought a new cell phone and didn't know how to make the sound louder when getting directions. We could barely hear it. I asked her if she knew how to make it louder and she helped us old people out. She went well beyond what her job reuired. Also...the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.
This hotel had a great cleaning staff beautiful location close to the fields yet the front desk staff was very rude and singled out our soccer players. This hotel is mainly for working people in the area and not for youth soccer players.
great hotel with plenty to offer, I've been here before and will be back again. great hotel and staff! plenty in the area for meals. hotel room was comfortable and clean and in great working order. love that they have a Keurig coffee maker in the room :)
Comfortable and clean rooms. The location was convenient for our one night stay. Would stay here again. Staff was friendly and rooms were very clean. Coffee and mini refrigerator in room. Breakfast was average- but nice that it was offered. Newer hotel so everything was in excellent condition.
This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel. I really like it. My only complaint remains a lack of shaded parking since this hotel is in the desert and even though the outside temperature only reached about 80 degrees during this stay, the car got very hot sitting in the sun. The people who work there are wonderful and go out of their way to accommodate you however they can.
Good location for traveling. Check in and check out was quick. Breakfast was ok, not too much of a variety but eggs and sausage were good.Worker kept area clean and replenished. Would stay there again if in the area.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was too high, too soft and the frame had a Sweek. Also the shower head was so high I couldn't reach it without standing on my toes. Location was convenient but we had a concern about homeless people living in their truck in the parking lot near the hotel.
VERY clean, AC works fast, outlets and USB in abundance, wifi and direct connection. They could honestly charge much more but choose to be affordable, I love it. This has become my go to spot when I travel.
I spent my stay there just after a retreat in Palm Springs. It's a nice hotel that gives the traveller what they need and offers a lot in terms of relaxation and pleasure. Its pool is very good for relaxing, it has a good amount of exercise equipment, and it has a great continental breakfast. A no-nonsense hotel in the Palm Desert area.
I stayed on a weekday during the very hot summer. My room had 2 queen beds and was on the 2nd floor. The elevators were fast. The room was a little better than average. Nice TV and the internet worked well. Good bathroom with a tub. The free breakfast was nice. I had scrambled eggs and bacon and orange juice. The bacon was not crispy, which I don't care for. The eggs were fine. The orange juice was not great, but the next morning, I had apple juice and it was better. There are no danishes or anything like that. Overall, it was a little better than an average hotel breakfast. The front desk agent gave me a different remote for the TV to allow me to plug in the Firestick I had brought with me. That was great and very much appreciated. This is a new hotel. I think it opened in late 2020. It is in the desert where temperatures are above 105 degrees for 8 months of the year. There is not one bit of shaded parking at this hotel. It makes absolutely no sense. Shaded parking is not a luxury in this area, it is a necessity. Vehicles get extremely hot there, too hot to get into to drive, until letting the vehicle cool of with the AC running for several minutes. They need to seriously consider adding shade to the parking areas. It should have been included when the hotel was being built so that it would not disturb guests. This is a serious oversight and might keep me from staying there again during hot months.
Hotel itself is nice (clean room, good location, good hot breakfast), but on the day we went, the pool was exceptionally dirty (dirt at the bottom of the pool and swirls of dirt when you moved the water with your hands) from the weather being really windy. This is not the hotel's fault, but when we informed the clerk, he said it was clean the day before. He tried to contact the pool guy, but it was a Sunday afternoon, so I didn't expect it to be cleaned. At night, there was a traveling high school football team that checked in and they swam in the pool anyway -- so it's really up to you. Also, I learned my lesson and now request top floor rooms if possible -- some of those football players were in the room above us and it sounded like they were stomping until they went to bed.
The hotel is very nice. It is in a bad location. That area gets really bad sandstorms. My shower in my room had no hot water. I wanted a relaxing hot shower and I wanted to get the sand out of my hair.
Room was clean and staff is friendly. Staff was happy to provide clean towels as we needed. Breakfast was good. Location is close to shopping if you need anything. Parking lot is safe, and the loading area was well lighted.
I booked 1 night for our family after a long and fun day at Joshua Tree in December 2021. It's a Best Western, and I wasn't expecting much. Our room (a standard 2-queen room) was massive and clean. I don't think it's been stayed in more than 20 times, honestly. The bathroom had ok water pressure, but was clean and had plenty of towels. We ended up getting dinner from a local fast food place and we had lots of space to eat in the room, between the armchair, desk chair, and the little ottoman. We likely could have taken our food down to the lobby, but opted not to. The parking lot was well-lit and quiet, even with several large trucks parked around it. In addition to the eggs, sausages, hash browns, and breads, they have a waffle maker, yogurt, and oatmeal at their free breakfast, which was a nice surprise. The service was fine-- I do wish the check-in desk staff made more of an effort to wear their masks because the mandates were still in place then, but I wore mine and mostly felt safe. The housekeeping staff all wore theirs.
Seems like a new property. Spacious rooms, solid Doors, fast elevators and nice breakfast space. Didn‘t clearly communicate that rooms are only cleaned after checkout. You have to pickup towels, tissues and paper at frontdesk. Had to reconnect business center pc and printer to wifi by myself. Wifi was reset daily. Soundproofing is pretty good, nearby traffic not disturbing sleep. Caution: Pool is extremly hot !
For this visit, the location was perfect for all our activities. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. We used the pool - it was warm even in the morning. Breakfast was satisfactory. The bed was very comfortable.
Wonderful place to recharge after the coast, heading towards Joshua Tree. Starbucks next door if you do coffee. Clean! Comfortable beds. Fitness center had what we needed. Friendly, accommodating staff.
the room was larger then most, and spotless clean. the little counter area with coffee pot, micro wave and refr, was nice to have. The closet had mirror sliding doors and electric plug so I could do hair and makeup there, freeing up the bathroom.
When we arrived at check in time at 4:00pm, we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes since the room was not ready. I prepaid and my confirmation stated a 4pm check in. The manage at the desk would not offer us any compensation. We had been travelling all day and were exhausted. This is unacceptable.
Newer hotel, easy checkin and nice comfortable rooms. Only negative was trying to go for breakfast at 8:55 am (was told it stops at 9:00 am) and entire area closed down, lights off, no ability to even grab a yogurt. We specifically chose a hotel with free breakfast as we have 3 young kids. Luckily a Starbucks is across the parking lot.
Great place to stay if you coming to the tennis tournament. Easy access to the freeway and local businesses. Will do it all over again next year or later on this year.Check out Sherman's Deli in Palm Desert!
This is a newer, clean, budget hotel on the outskirts of Palm Desert and Rancho Mirage. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and a decent choice if you are looking to save money. Within the same parking lot, there is a Starbucks, McDonald's, Taco Bell. Agua caliente casino Is less than a mile and walkable, as long as it's not summer. However, it is not a particularly scenic or ideal trek over the freeway bridge and feel sketchy at night. Adjacent to the hotel is also a large truckstop. Although this Area does have some nice desert views, it is isolated from the rest of the Coachella valley. So this is not a location you would want to stay if you want to experience The restaurants, shopping, and other attractions in the desert with your family. You need a vehicle and will be driving everywhere except the casino.
No offense, but I don't choose Best Westerns very often. I usually stay at higher star hotels. That being said, I had to make a trip to Palm Desert, and my hotel choices were slim because they were either sold out, or the prices were sky high! I saw the Best Western Plus had rooms available, and the hotel has pretty good reviews, so I took a chance and booked a king room. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was! The hotel is in a good location, the staff was really friendly, the hot breakfast bar was great (for a hotel breakfast), and the room was big, nice, and clean! My only complaint is the shower. It has a low flow shower head, and the water doesn't get hot enough. Other than that, the hotel is great!
My overnight experience at this Best Western was superb. My room was well decorated and comfortable. The breakfast that was available offered a wide variety of choices including hot breakfast items. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice clean, quiet room. Wholesome, filling, complimentary breakfast, with nice dining area. Good strong Wi-Fi. Really comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with modern, sliding-glass, shower. Large shower head.
Understandable, possibility of covid related. But breakfast was cancelled last minute. Throw out some prepackaged muffins at least. I know they would of had those on hand. It just felt like they couldn't do anything for the multiple hotel guests. Not a very clear reason why.
I stay here quite often and the rooms are always clean services excellent and I enjoy the breakfast the staff treated me very well at every visit. You cannot find a better hotel for the money in this area.
My sons & I were very pleased with the beautiful Suite we stayed in for one night. The front desk accommodated me to the fullest & were very courteous. Everything about the hotel was nicely decorated & clean. (we did miss having a vending machine on our floor though) We will be back...thank you so much. 5 stars *****
We stayed here for our trip to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park. It's about 30-40 minutes away from both attraction sites. I was a little worried about this hotel at first since there were not a lot of reviews, but later found out it was a new hotel built in the past year that's why there were few reviews. The hotel was very clean, rooms were modern, and staff were very friendly. It's very simple/not fancy, but provides everything we needed. Breakfast is included, saves time and money for the trip. We were very pleasantly surprised that there were 4 free EV charging stations in the parking lot. We will definitely visit again if going to the area.
Nice very clean rooms! Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice spot off the freeway, next to Starbucks and plenty of food places around the area. Not too noisy at all too, def stay again and recommend even though far from downtown PS.
The room was nice and spacious. However, as we were unpacking we opened the coat closet door and found a full size garbage bag full of stinky trash as well as dirty towels. The cleaning staff somehow completely missed it. The rest of the room was pretty clean. The front desk sent someone up to clean it up right away. The other main complaint was that we didn't get a warm breakfast one morning due to staffing shortages.
We've stayed at a lot of BW's and BW Plus's. I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but it was very nice and I'd definitely stay again. Nice shower and great lighting in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. We also had a beautiful view of the mountains which was nice to wake up to! The staff at this hotel were all very nice & professional.
Best motel of our long road trip. Highly recommend this clean, modern facility. Lovely decor, very comfortable bed, worth every penny. Wireless phone charger, delicious breakfast. Plan to stay here again.
I booked a room as part of a gift for Xmas over the phone directly with the hotel. The hotel took my card info over the phone then insisted I fill out a paper Authorization to use my card when my guests checked in. I emailed it to them complete with all my credit card info. It looks like someone used my credit card to buy almost $200 of food at the McDonalds next to the hotel. The Manager has not returned my calls. I had to cancel my credit card. Be very careful with your credit card.
From Sofia to James to Jasmine to Krisma and Antonio, everyone was soooo nice, friendly, accomodating to my family needs, understood my son's disability, it made our 2 day stay great. I wish we were there longer. When I head back to Palm Springs for a getaway, I am staying there! Thanks to the staff for making it the best. It was even Thanksgiving weekend and some of the staff stayed longer than their shift and then arrived early the very next day to help or cover another coworker. The names I listed need recognition and compensation for their true hardwork, especially during these times when people do not want to work.
There's nothing I didn't like and look forward to staring at the BWP the next time we are in Cathedral City, CA! It was VERY clean, the breakfast buffet was FABULOUS, the standard king room was more spacious than any other hotel we've stayed at. From the moment we checked-in the customer service was TOP NOTCH & with all that has been going on, it's not something you see all the time. If I could give this review 10 stars, I would!
Excellent service. Immaculate room and very comfortable. It was easy to adjust the temperature, which is not always the case in some hotels. The person who helped me check in at the front desk was wonderful. Friendly, and vey helpful. All around a wonderful stay.
I stayed overnight at this newer hotel. The room was well appointed and the breakfast was quite good (with scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, etc.). When I checked in, I provided my credit card as requested, but reiterated to the male agent that I had pre-paid the bill through my travel agent. At check-out the next morning I was told the room would be charged to my credit card. I told the very personable agent, Sophia, about the issue and she said she would take care of it. When I saw a pending charge on my credit card later that day, I called Sophia and she apologized and assured me that it had been a check-in error and that it would take a few business days, but that the charge would be reversed. All in all, a clean and comfortable hotel.
We had lots to do and we needed a plce to stay. This Best Western Plus Desert View did the job Especially attentive to us was Sophia at the Front Desk. She was incredibly helpful, pleasant and informative. And gave me her 'favorite color' to try my luck at the slot machines....and I won!!! She is great at what she does and it was important that I recognize her for her stellar service to us both. We will be back!
We popped in around 10:30 p.m. for a quick overnight stay. Michelle at the front desk was wonderful, amazing customer service. We got keys to our room within minutes. THE BED: The hotel is new, which is always a benefit. The beds were so new and comfortable. Two years on our tempurpedic at home. This was the first morning to wake up with no body ache. I may come back for another good night stay. Nice pillows too. Room was clean, had everything you needed for a nights stay or I would stay longer if in the area again. Wonderful breakfast with the make your own waffle, bacon, sausage. Good coffee as well. Everything you need to refresh and hit the road again. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. You have to get past that it's right off the freeway location. It was clean and quiet.
If you are not planning a “Palm Springs Vacation”, but just a night stay while traveling, I highly recommend this Best Western. It is just off the 10 Highway at Bob Hope Drive. For dinner, drive a few blocks to Taqueria San Miguel for fantastic Mexican food. The Best Western is new, and therefore clean. The front desk staff as very friendly and helpful. Can't beat the rates also. This will be our overnight stay on our travels to Nor Cal from Arizona…
As mentioned, Luis is a pro and very accommodating. Michelle finds a way... Anything she could do she does. Extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept. There's even aloe vera plants out front. Not to say one should harvest them, but very pretty to look at... Hotel is new (2020) with interior hallways and interior elevators. Rooms are nicely decorated. To me this is a 5 star property at rates that rival Motel 6 just down I 10. Will always stay here when in the Palm Springs area.. BTW Trip Advisor lists as 1000 Palms. It is not. It's really Cathedral City and very handy off I 10... Bob Hope Drive...
The hotel is very new, clean and spacious. The walls are pretty thing and had next door folks that were partying from 1130pm until after 4am. We just kept turning the air up to drown out the noise. The staff was very accommodating and extremely friendly. To the folks that stayed next to us, hope their hangovers were worth it! :(
i like this hotel, friendly staff, big rooms.close to a casino.i will stay here again, and i will recommend it to my friends and family.,the room was very clean, and the girl at the front dest was very sweet
I had a last minute stay and the customer service was amazing. They got me a great room, very clean and nice. Helped with the pricing as well. After a few hours right before bed I needed medication stored in the mini frig. The frig wasn't working correctly so I went down to the front desk and she was so great, I got a new room that was even upgraded and everything. I recommend this hotel to all.
Great desert view in the room, newly renovated inn. To go breakfast is a joke, artificial color and flavor muffins provided, Treetop apple juice if you got luck. Low shower water pressure (room 326). Garbage and fire lighter on the floor of the room when check in. Next morning of our stay, we asked the front desk regarding room cleaning, she gave us a hanging card to put outside the room door. In the afternoon, our room was not cleaned, a male staff (wear glasses) said now Covid, no housekeeping unless upon request and on the list, our room was not cleaned. The staff are inconsistent in practices. I tried to check out around 7:40 am, the staff Sophia said she can't apply my gift cards, as only the management can do, who will be in the office by 8 am, so I left my printed gift cards paper to Sophia, who called me afterwards and said that the printed paper was missing so I have to send to her again. How organized is this hotel!
I had made a reservation at this hotel and subsequently cancelled the reservation 48 hours before the check-in date (within the non-penalty cancellation timeframe). My credit card was still charged for this reservation. I have been contacting the hotel several times for the past 10 days. Was told the charges would be reversed, which never happened, and the hotel manager has not returned several messages. I now need to go through my credit card company to reverse these charges.
Despite being a new hotel, there are still a number of significant bugs to work out. Don't believe the advertising about the full breakfast. There is no breakfast. It doesn't look like the dining area has ever been used for anything. It is currently being used for laundry. We stayed at for other Best Western properties on our trip. Three offered full cooked breakfast with appropriate Covid precautions. One offered sack breakfast with a variety of choices. This property advertises breakfast but offers nothing at all. Watch your step in the first floor hallway. The brand new carpet has waves in it and you may trip on them. The most obnoxious thing about the hotel was that the bright ceiling light came on 30 or 40 times during the night all by itself. They advertise “energy-efficient“ rooms in which one must place a key in a slot for the electricity to work. We tried everything, turning the light off and on, removing the key from the slot. Every time we drifted off to sleep, boom, like a flashbulb going off.
This hotel opened in May 2020, during covid and yet continues to advertise that it offers a full breakfast. We were shocked to discover upon checking in there is no breakfast what so ever, not even a to go bag. Every other BW we have stayed in offered at least something and many were creative in how they offered full breakfast during covid. For them to list breakfast as part of their amenities is simply lying, and they rate themselves a BW Plus. More like a BW Minus. On the plus side it is a newer hotel and the room was clean.
My friend and I were unexpectantly needing accomodations in the Palm Springs area for 3 days while our car was repaired. We reserved rooms elsewhere in the area. The customer service was horrible... the only desk person could not tell us if the sheets were fragrance free and then said we could not have our room on time because of our special request. We walked and called Best Western to cancel that reservation and try to find another place for us. They directed us to this new property just off of I-10 and Bob Hope Blvd. Mary and Michelle on the desk were super helpful when texting us pictures of the cleaning products. When we arrived they treated us with friendly help and respect. This service continued throughout our stay. Although this site does not yet serve breakfast there was a coffee maker and refrigerator in the room and a Starbucks across the parking lot. The beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning divine. I met Manual, the manager, walking the property and praised Michelle and Mary to him. All three made us feel welcome and offered answers to our many questions. Next time we stop in Palm Springs, this will be our spot! By the way, they are very close to the Casino in North Palm Springs.
