Clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated rooms. Loved the in room Keurig and amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable bed and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a very relaxing stay. Thank you everyone for creating such a pleasant experience. I felt a tremendous sense of order about the place. Like coming home after a busy day.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our trip to celebrate our Anniversary and to Bring in the New Year 2024. The Excellent Customer Service with a Smile made this trip enjoyable! Enjoyed our accommodations and the atmosphere.

All the hotel stuff was very attentive and helpful, easy check in and great location with a bowling and a bar attached to the hotel , breakfast was delicious and is the cleanest hotel we have stayed at !

The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are updated and very clean. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The only negative issue is it was a bit noisy. Our room was near the laundry/vending machines/housekeeping office. The breakfast was decent.

Great stay, was very nicely greeted when we checked in in the evening, and got to our room immediately. Had a problem with the door lock that required a physical key to get it solved. We were immediately accommodated and were able to move to another same type room without any issues, and not one bit of hassle, they got it done! The Lock battery died and would not open at all so it got fixed the next morning immediately by their maintenance staff. The rooms were very nice and clean, and lived up to my expectations nicely. In all it was a great stay and this is one of my top Best westerns to stay and and will most definitely stay here again.

We had a very unfortunate experience with an Airbnb and needed last-minute accommodations. We found the best Western in Canoga Park. It was conveniently located near where the rest of our family was staying. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, and the complementary breakfast was very good. The best Western is located next to a bowling alley, which was our first concerning, but turned out to provide us with great evenings entertainment. Although unassuming on the outside, the best Western was an excellent choice if you're staying in the Canoga Park area!

Nice location. Clean room. Clean bathroom. Quite room.Small fridge and microwave that all work.Comfortable bed. The breakfast is good too. Multiple restaurants are located close by. They are walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.

Glad to see us, late night arrival .. offered water & snack. Our room was prepared with everything in place. Morning breakfast had a variety and helpful to our needs. Checking out appreciation and joyful goodbye. Felt so welcome and to come back again.

The carpet is stained and needs to be replaced, and the fan in the bathroom did not work at all, but the people who work there are all very nice. The front desk staff is nice, and one of them even charged my phone for me because I lost my cord, and I needed it until I could buy a new one the following day. The employees in the dining room are equally friendly. Ping and the other woman who works there were terrific. The waffles were really good, and I ate enough of them to last me until my next stay there.

I highly recommend this hotel. Overall, i had great experiences. Staff especially the manager were all incredibly helpful, friendly and makes customers feel welcome. Room was spacious, clean and perfect to stay.

Everything from checking in to checking out was perfect. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and have everything one could need. Breakfast was definitely a plus! I highly recommend them for your stay!!

Room had hairs in bed sheets, smelled like a old water in the room. Too much bleach in bed linen's and towels got a rash. The rooms are older and need to be remodeled. Breakfast was ok and had fresh options available. Not worth the price but the Best Western in Valencia was sold out which is a newer property and worth the price.

All the staff at this hotel were exceptionally pleasant, helpful, polite and knowledgeable. They saver every a full breakfast and the food was very tasty. Great location for all the things I needed to do in and around Los Angeles.

This year I had the opportunity to travel few different times and this hotel is been far better than many others. The fact that they are bringing back the complementary breakfast, that just set them apart from the rest.

One of the BEST run hotels I have EVER stayed in! Warm, friendly, responsive, interested staff at EVERY level. The facilities are ALL top performing and kept spotless; and the BEDS are an absolute CLOUD of comfort! Located just off the Freeway, on one of the most conveniently central roads in the Valley, but very well sound insulated rooms. Also an amazing breakfast buffet! I stayed 3 weeks and it truly was home from home.

This hotel was very close to the venue I was attending and not too far from the 101 freeway. Overall had a great experience. Friendly staff at the front desk! Breakfast was very great! Did not have the opportunity to use the pool or jacuzzi but maybe next time!

Stayed for 6 nights, so we became quite familiar with the staff, area; truly, a home away from home - Where to start - we checked in at 1 am due to a 12 hour delay from NYC, safe, quiet area, close to stores on a popular street, yet very quiet at night. We had a room facing the swimming pool on the second floor. Plenty of parking, next to a bowling alley, safe, and the adjoining restaurant - Next morning, we had the hot breakfast, served safely during covid times, buffet bar was behind a large vertical plexiglass shiel. Theressa and Sushi were our hostesses. Freshly made Waffles, yogurt, parfaits, breakfast burritos, sausages, juice, in a large clean space with TV and comfy chairs, booths, very very clean. Theressa and Sushi wiped the tables as soon as customers left. Assortment of teas, juices, coffee. - Two queen beds for my teen and myself. Large TV, we didn't use, microwave, mini fridge, desk, spacious bathroom, luggage racks, closet for jackets, ihome for charging, but bring your own just in case - Housekeeping on the second floor - so kind, accomodating when I needed clean towels and toiletries as we didn't need major cleaning each day. Greeted warmly each day - Other staff would greet us with Good Morning as well, a truly cheerful hello. My teen daughter: the people working here are so kind! She noticed, despite being a teen - Very safe inside the hotel. AT the front desk, could view the cameras watching all corridors. - Other staff we became familiar with during our week long stay - Manager Eddie, Assistant Manager Mireya, our hostesses in the breakfast room - Saved time, $$. to eat a warm breakfast. Incredible hotel rate as well - Mostly saw adults, teens as customers - didn't see any little children, probably as it was winter and the kiddies in school - Quiet hotel, inside - I'm a particular person, keen on cleanliness and prefer good service - the Best Western in Canoga Park checks all these boxes Cons - Corridors a bit old, altho very clean and tastefully decorated, olive green colors,, was perfectly fine for me. Conclusion I have stayed in the famous Chateau in Montreal, and Hiltons.. Marriots for business. In the Chateaus, altho a gorgeous castle, my room faced a turret and brick side of the building. I'd choose this hotel for the personal touch, amenities, breakfast and value and value! A gem

Really enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable beds and the breakfast buffet was so good. Glad I was able to sit in the breakfast room and just enjoy it. Definitely coming back here. And tell my friends!

The hotel offered nice clean rooms, gym, laundry, breakfast, pool and more. Bowling ally with a bar, and restaurant attracted. Most staff was very helpful a few of the late shift staff were less than helpful or made me feel like I was a burden for asking for assistance. House keeping was great! The only issues were a huge gash acrossed the TV, burnt out light bulbs and a day without water.

We had a great stay at this hotel. All of the staff were amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was great-so many choices and the ladies working it were so kind. We stay in a lot of hotels (particularly Best Westerns) and this one was top notch.

Our stay was highlighted by the staff's friendliness. Accommodations were clean. Ask for a room on the second floor on the backside of the hotel to reduce road noise. Be sure to enjoy your breakfast which had a variety of hot and cold foods to select from.

A very good hotel, their breakfast is great, nice fitness gym, and the staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are very nice, and the computer room is also very good for a business person, they have computers, and printers, and you can do your work in a nice and quite room.

Who would have thought right here in the middle of the valley the Best service and Breakfast to put some high end hotels to shame. We are in Los Angeles every month for our business coaching business. And every month we stay at this hotel. If you are a business owner who spends any time on the road, you know what a pleasure it is to find a location like this hotel that makes you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is incredible. The breakfast is varied and tasty. And if you need a meeting room for 20-60, they have one that is excellent. Stop looking for other hotels in the area. Stay at our home away from home.

I needed a good place to stay while attending a workshop in Tarzana. I found this hotel through a recommendation and I am super happy I did. The hotel is newly remodel and everything is new and clean. My room was large with a comfortable king size bed , a reading chair and ottoman and even a small eating table. It had a microwave , fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom was good size , plenty of counter space and more ammenities then expected from this type of hotel. The breakfast was very good with lots of options including fresh waffles . Free parking and internet which was speedy were both a plus. Everyone in the staff was super friendly and helpful and always smiling . I will be back in May for a other workshop.

This Best Western in Canoga Park is amazing. The breakfast is incredible and the staff is so helpful and friendly. We had two reservations and they anticipated us wanting to stay in the same room and not have to move to a new room. Completely customer service driven and NOW my favorite place to stay. Well done Best Western!!!

Very reasonable for a Calif trip. All categories were excellent. Unfortunately I didnt have time to check out the adjoining restaurant, outdoor pool or bowling alley. Breakfast was outstanding. Room was clean and attractive. Microwave and coffee machine. Clerk immediately helped when the Keurig wouldn't work. Everyone pleasant and helpful.

From the beginning to end and after I left The receptionist was was great. I was great with a great smile and a good since of humor. She promised my room was clean an not low budget and she was right the room was nice. I took pictures and sent to friends. I've stay at Hotels from the Ritz to Fairmont and my best experience was with Best Western I end with this. My plan after was to go to yelp and write a good review because of the experience I had. Four hour after I checked out I got a phone call from the Hotel informing me that I left all my jewelry Two diamond rings a white gold braclet and a Bolova watch all value about $11,0000 Honesty and Integrity

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great amenities like cafe, lounge, bowling alley, and great breakfast. Worth trip from freeway interchange and you will not be disappointed. Coupons for free drink, free game of bowling, and free breakfast.

A brief overnight stay allowed us to experience the clean room, comfortable bed and linens. Great hot breakfast with many good selections. Convenient location. Very friendly staff. I would definitely return!

Noisy, poverty level experience. Should I leave this area has very trashy people who live around and work there low standards low education low customer service all around low level of awareness really annoyed with my stay there.

Our room was a little stuffy, even with the air on it never smelled good. Bathroom was a little small, toiletries were nice. The king bed was comfortable, instead of king pillows there were four small ones, which was ok. There was a nice chair with ottoman. We were there for about a week. The breakfast was pretty nice. Lots to choose from. We had issues with the eggs, they weren't really scrambled seemed like fake eggs or poured out of a carton. There was hot chocolate, bagels, rolls, yogurt toast, sausage and bacon sometimes. Waffles, juices...a nice variety. We ate everyday at the diner over at the bowling alley. It was pretty retro, but the food was actually great. All in all it was a decent stay. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Stayed here for one night for business. Pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the room and amenities. It's within walking distance of the Orange Line, if coming on public transportation. I was tired and in need of a simple meal. The friendly, welcoming staff directed me to the bowling alley where there is a bar and a diner cafe. It was like going into a time warp to another era - in a good way. There was Paint Nite in the bar, the bowling alley was hopping, and the diner was quiet but busy. They offer All Day breakfast in addition to regular diner fare. I was coming down with a cold, so found their comfort food and a hot drink appealing. The staff was very welcoming, and the food was fresh and clearly made to order on the spot. Breakfast at the Best Western the next morning was great. A good range of food from freshly made waffles to European-style cold cuts and cheese. At this point I had lost my voice, so the staff in the breakfast room were very helpful in putting together tea with honey for me. This experience has made me want to seek out Best Western hotels going forward.

Our stay was great! The room was clean and comfortable! We will be staying here again! The room had a fridge, coffeee machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and some pretty cool toiletry items. All rooms are non-smoking. It was perfect for our needs.

Stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Immediately noted how clean and nice it looked inside. The bed was ridiculously comfortable. The curtains keep the light out nicely. Breakfast was better than most hotels. There was a nice selection of foods. Check in and check out was a breeze.

I am disabled and Trevor, the desk manager when I arrived, went out of his way to make me comfortable. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. I will definitely go there again on my next trip to L.A.

We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one stands out from the rest because of the great customer service. The breakfast is the best that we have ever had in a hotel,, and from Monday to Thursday, they offer a free happy hour with snacks and a limit of two drinks. This hotel is a great value when visiting LA!

Very clean and up to date rooms with extra toiletry items you don't always see at other hotels. Would stay here again. Excellent breakfast to include Stevia sweetener which I usually bring myself. Almond milk is available as well.

This place had exactly what I needed: clean, nicely appointed room, reliable Internet, spa in which to boil away road fatigue, fast or casual eateries in walking distance, free coffee and breakfast, and an very attentive staff. There's even a bowling alley next door if you need a diversion other than the TV or the pool. If you're a public transit kind of person, you can pick up a city bus in any direction from the corner on which the property sits, or it's a short walk to the Metro Orange Line which taps you into the Metro Rail system which will take you all over Greater L.A.; I found that VERY convenient. If you know L.A., rush hour gridlock on surface streets is very typical, and Winnetka feeds onto the nearby freeway which makes this property convenient for driving anywhere in the valleys, but at the same time makes it hard to get in or out of the parking lot in times of heavy commute. But hey, welcome to L.A.

Though the hotel faces a large parking lot shared by bowling alley and looks the property somewhat appealing. Also, the lobby is small. But once you are there, checked in (staff very accomodating), and into your room, everything is very good. I room, though not the most modern, is comfortable, maintained well, and spacious. Bathroom products are very nice. The hotel has a 5-6pm happy hour. Have a free beer or wine (or two) and snacks. Nice touch and enjoyable. Staff there very helpful. All in all, a very nice stay. Will be back.

I love this hotel...I've stayed 3 different times now...will stay there again. The hotel staff is friendly, the place is clean and looks nice. The have a great breakfast and great breakfast staff, they make little delicious waffles upon request and keep everything well stocked and clean, so don't forget to leave a tip! The beds are very comfortable, the a/c works great, the cable actually works really well too! Oftentimes, the cable doesn't work like it should or the channels don't match the guide...not here; it all works like it should...I took along my dvd player, easy peasy hook up, watched one of my movies since I was on a weekend getaway from responsibilities...but the HBO and Showtime was good watching too!! There is a shopping mall within 5 miles of this hotel and other little places, even a Costco! Baskin Robbins, Starbucks...I like the location, even if the streets are busy, you can't hear it inside the hotel. This place it connected to a bowling alley...I don't bowl, but there is also a restaurant and lounge I believe...oh, and a game room..it is noisy so little ones may not like being in there (my granddaughter did not like that part)....the noise does not carry over to the hotel though and that is nice...

We spent four nights at this hotel and were very happy with everything. The breakfasts were wonderful. The breakfast staff was always so friendly and the selection of food was excellent. Our hairdryer was broken in our room and they had a new one to me within minutes. The hotel was clean and the desk attendants were friendly and always asked if they could help.

We have stayed in many Best Western and this is by far the best. They have really kicked things up a notch thinking of every possible ammenity a guest might need in their room. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and the location quiet at night. The complimentary happy hour with wine, beer, soft drinks and appetizers (hot and cold) was great. Nice wine choices which was impressive. This is a hotel I would go out of my way by driving a extra miles to stay there.

When, I travel to California, especially the Los Angeles area, I expect to pay more for for less. So, when I saw the cost per night, I was hesitant. However, after seeing the reviews, I just had to try. I am so glad I did. Looks as though it's been newly remodeled. The decor, fresh, modern, and nice. The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. Made me feel very welcome. I was completely surprised by the breakfast area. There were SO MANY choices and fresh options! My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I asked for a room on the back side away from the road and traffic noise. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend you stay here too!

I asked for a quite room, my husband and I were there for business. We were told this was a quite room??? Hardly qualifies as that! There were people running up and down the hall , slamming door, laughing until late at night. The road noise felt as if was coming right through our room! This was by far the loudest room I've ever stayed in! Never again! I will let all my friends!

The rooms were very nice and updated. Such a pleasant surprise. My only complaint was noise level from other guests. My bad for not calling front desk to complain. When I came down at 6:00 am and spoke with front desk, she was so nice and sorry. She told me that if I had called down she could have done something.

This hotel chain has really stepped it up! This location offers a Managers Reception Monday through Thursday from 5-6 PM where guests get 2 free drinks and snacks/ finger foods are offered. Breakfast, they have staff to make your waffle! Very clean, decor is contemporary, furniture is clean and modern, friendly staff, and functioning pool/ hot tub. I am very impressed with Best Western. My 7 year old only likes to stay at Best Western which says a lot. This one is also connected to a bowling alley which was a major plus.

Let me say it took me a couple of passes to find it... it's really a bowling alley with an attached motel. When I pulled up The was a security vehicle parked in front. This is not really a bad neighborhood, but working class at best. So I'm thinking ok, I'm here for three nights but maybe I ll just stay the on and move on. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the property was. The Fairmont it's not, but I found it very clean and the TV and it's connection the the local cable company was the best, even had a dvr so I could pause and then skip commercials! Also, the Internet was very robust. None of this “free WiFi” but you can pay extra for the real deal nonsense. As many others have commented, the free breakfast was probably the best of any like properties in this class I've stayed in. Great assortment and some decent options to the the usual powered scrambled eggs, but even those were better than most. The were hard boiled eggs, humus, assorted cheeses, the fruit assortment was very decent, and the breads actually fresh. While I did use it the pool and jacuzzi seemed to be clean and well maintained. Yes, the property is a bit dated, the mattresses a bit too soft, the hallways a bit narrow, but I have to say all things considered I was very satisfied for my recent three nights.

Great place to stay and always friendly. They know me there and have always been very nice to me. You can be assured that they will do ll and anything they can to make the stay great. I stay here every time in town.

This location has the best breakfast around, hands down! Dee at the front desk at night is awesome. She always makes my check in smooth and stress free, she always makes sure all my needs are met so I can get the much needed breather and relaxation during my stay!

This hotel is cute and conveniently located. I stayed here with my teen while visiting colleges in the area and I felt safe and secure. It was a great price and the amenities were plentiful. I wish we had stayed longer to benefit from the discounts given at the attached bowling alley. The breakfast was yummy and was definitely one of the best of the hotels I have stayed in over the years. There were some very minor things that I would have preferred to have been different, such as I found a couple hairs in the shower and no one wiped the light switches that had food smears on them but honestly, everything felt and looked fairly clean so I think these were just one-offs. I am a big germaphobe and although it made me cringe slightly, I did not feel it was worth reporting to the front desk. I just used some disinfecting wipes that I purchased to clean it up. I am sure the front desk would have helped me out if I had asked. Overall, don't let that scare you away. I would stay here again. It was a good experience.

This hotel had a very comfortable bed, great pillows and the BEST hot breakfast of all the hotels I've stayed at( I've stayed at a LOT!) When I am back in the area, I'll stay here again, for sure. Check it out next time YOU are in the area

Overall a good place to stay, wide variety of breakfast items, all quite good. Friendly staff. Fast internet. Close to restaurants, stores, gas stations, COSTCO & Westfeld Mall close by. There was a wide variety of amenities in the bathroom.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We were very impressed with the improvements made to an already wonderful place. The lobby is clean and welcoming. The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best of any other Best Western we have ever stayed at. Having the bowling alley on campus is really nice also.

Great clean hotel with excellent amenities. The bowling ally, lounge and cafe were great to have right next door. The one odd thing was that there was not a fan in the bathroom, made it interesting to share a room. Overall though this is a great place to stay in the area.

I stay here often while traveling for business. It is my favorite hotel in the area. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The cafe next door delivers room service. They have a free continental breakfast and free happy hour in the evening. It's just a few minutes from Woodland Hills and some great restaurants!

Completely satisfied with this location. It looks newly remodeled/updated. Very modern decor. Comfortable bed. Hot showers! Very pleasant front desk staff!! I had stayed at a different BW the same weekend which was a complete 180. This one was nice.

The hotel is ok to stay at if you are not planning on walking around the area as there is nothing to do or see outside of the hotel and attached bowling alley. The surrounding area is mainly industrial and you have to drive to go to a restaurant that is not in the bowling alley. With that said, the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Good for an overnight stay.

We arrived late weary from travel and the check in was nice. We ended up with a very nice room next to the pool, but unfortunately the pool (and weather) was way too cold for us to use while we stayed there, serious bummer for our youngest son. We did get to use the hot tub though. Breakfast was very nice with a very attentive staff member around while it was served. Only downfall besides the pool would be the confusing layout that caused us to get yelled at in the bar for our kids being in there, because we thought we were walking into a restaurant.

We just wanted a note away from the kids but it turned out very nice,nice accommodations very updated and modern,very nice staff,pool,hot tub,room was very nice,decent parking,a nice bar and bowling alley. It was very nice.

All employees are extremely friendly and helpful, management is on top of everything and breakfast is out of this world. Fast wifi, comfy bed, poolside rooms, overall a great place to get away for the weekend.

I was At the hotel for a 2 night stay with a group of friends. My whole experience was positive from a painless checkin to a good pool and a fantastic breakfast. The bowling on site was good fun. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I have stayed 4 times in the last year visiting family. At first I was hesitant because it was next to a bowling alley but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are modern and bigger than average. We enjoy the pool, spa, and free hot breakfast. It is totally quiet and has comfortable beds. I have suggested this hotel to friends and family. Because I stay with my daughter, I want a place that is safe and I feel totally safe here. My tip is to ask for a second floor room, so that no one is above you.

Searching the Los Angeles area for a quality hotel at an affordable price is a challenge. I was initially concerned about this hotel being adjacent to the bowling alley but those fears were unwarranted. This hotel has a terrific & friendly staff, nice large rooms (although becoming a bit dated), a solid hot breakfast, good security practices, free WiFi, and a co-located restaurant (more like a diner) at the bowling alley. The bowling alley is adjacent via a hallway but none of the rooms are near this area. Quiet residential area, not too far north of hwy 101.

The hotel has recently been renovated and it looks very charming. The area has a few problems but felt safe at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating and polite. The cafe next door had excellent food and good service.

This place will charge you an additional fee for checking in early. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere that does this and makes extra effort to enforce this policy.Not very customer friendly. The maid service seemed quite frightened or maybe I should say intimidated by the overbearing controlling manager.

When I pulled up , I was a little hesitant but as soon as I stepped in the door, I was impressed. The Customer Service was Exceptional, very courteous, friendly, and informative. She even helped with directions to the Mall. When I stepped in my room, it smelled fresh, the room was Super Duper clean and the Beds are so Comfy. There was more than enough towels and the hygiene and products were on point. Then Internet Service is super Fast! The Bowling Alley/Restaurant was so much Fun! We came as a big group and we got a chance to do Karokee Night with our Family...creating memories. The next day on Mother's Day, the Restaurant blocked off an area for our Family to dine together right before my Nephew's College Graduation which made it super easy for Everyone to dine right there and travel to somewhere else. The Food was so good...I ordered Rib Eye Steak and it was the best juicy Well Done Steak I ever had.

Retainer left on dresser during checkout. Called staff and they stated that housekeeping never turned it in. Room was already occupied by new guests. No apology received from the staff whatsoever. So....if you mistakenly leave something behind, you will surely not see it again.

Was a great place. Staff was awesome. Restaurant was good. A couple of gas station across the street. There's a few different places to eat. The bed a little to soft for my liking. Very nice place to stay.

The hotel is attached to a bowling alley in an ok area...nothing worthwhile within walking distance. The surprise was the room. It looked brand new and clean. There is a large flat screen tv, modern furniture and bathroom. The bed was a pillow top with the worst pillows you will ever sleep on. The room appears expensive while the pillows are synthetic blobs that strain your neck to sleep. Not sure why they don't do what Hampton Inn does with a choice of feather and synthetic pillows. Too bad since everything else was really nice. The hotel has a free happy hour between 5-6pm with free cocktails. If you miss it they still give you a coupon for a buy one get one free plus another coupon for bowling. Parking is free which is rare in LA. I will go back.

As always this place is my number one choice when i visit sfv and i do frequently EVERY single staff member from the front desk to the maids to the maintenance ppl are amazing! Rooms and hotel extremely clean and comfortable I LOVE this place !

Charged me an extra 100 dollars cause of an accident happened that no women should have to feel like we did a crime. I mean they were acting like I did it on purpose and I should be ashamed of what happened. And then they sat there giving me attitude and yelling at me like I was trash. Never again will I go to this hotel again

This hotel has many pluses. Helpful and pleasant staff, quite large and well furnished rooms with comfortable beds. Fridge, microwave, good toiletries. Clean and quiet. A nice hot complimentary breakfast and an evening complimentary drinks and snacks social (Mondays to Thursdays). A gym with free weights and a combo exercise machine in addition to the aerobic machines. Quiet, with internal corridors. Free parking. Free coffee and tea most hours near the reception desk.Outdoor pool (unusable in winter). We received(but didn't avail of) discount coupons for the bowling alley next door. Stragglers beware - breakfast items were removed promptly at 10 am and they like the breakfast area cleared out by 10:15 am, The complimentary WiFi in room worked but seemed a bit patchy at times. There are no special handicapped accessible rooms / bathrooms and the bathroom door is not wide. So getting my Dad's walker into and out of the modest sized bathroom required a little manipulation every time. Housekeeping replaced and removed the barely used soaps in bathroom instead of leaving them be and simply adding new toiletries. Slightly surprising in this CA drought time to see that toilet flushes were still the old 4 gallon variety instead of the new water efficient ones. But overall we had a very pleasing stay.

For the cost, this was a really great hotel ! Staff was friendly, big rooms, and a great buffet, free with your room. hotel was close to most of the points of interest like Hollywood, and LA. We even managed a trip to the LLa Brea tar pits !

We stayed at BW for our daughter's audition with CSUN. The location of the hotel is ok, but the staff are very nice and helpful and the deco of the room is great compared to other BW hotels. The breakfast is great and two staff who work in the breakfast area are very nice.

This property continues to make improvements. The reception area has been upgraded now and is beautiful. The management is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. I love coming back here. It's like coming home.

I do not normally stay at Best Western but due to very last minute that is where I found a room. Exceptional service! From front desk, to housekeeping and even better for breakfast service. Presently surprised by free breakfast but the servers on the 2nd morning remembered I had asked for something and made it before I even asked. Comfy beds, plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. Only thing I would change is pillows, they were really nice and great quality but for me too fat, my daughter loved them so it's just a personal preference.

Best hotel in the San Fernando Valley. Rooms are reasonable and clean, beds comfortable. They provide breakfast with many selections as well therein a restaurant with good food. The staff are all very efficient and friendly. We have stayed other hotels in the valley and not pleased. Will always choose Best Western.

This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. The parking space is very spacious, the front staff, cleaning staff, and the breakfast room staff are all very kind and cheerful, with nice smiles. They try to take care of their guests nicely. The room equipment is very well designed to make the stay very convenient and efficient.

Staff were very accommodating; décor was very good. Breakfast was very tasty and numerous items to choose from. Plenty of parking. I thought about using the pool, but the weather cooled so did not get a chance.

Who would have thought such an excellent hotel would be next to the bowling alley in Canoga Park? But it is! This hotel is an amazing value and has one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at any hotel. The beds are more comfortable than most hotel beds and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We love it here and this is our go-to hotel in the LA area. We stay here several times a year and have never once had anything to complain about! Even when they lost power (which was area-wide, so not their fault) the staff went above and beyond to make sure no one was inconvenienced due to the outage.

This was probably my 4th visit to this little jewel but it will definitely not be my last! The staff is so kind and accommodating each and every time I stay here. They really go out of their way to see to the comfort of their guests. The manager Eddie Shook took time from his incredibly busy day Just to sit and chat with me. He was genuinely concerned and wanted to ensure that everything was perfect. He made me feel very special. Alex, Jeff, Jenny and Sud are all valuable employees that I had the good fortune to meet during my stay. This is my “Go To” place to stay whenever I am in town. We were tired from traveling and this was the perfect place to rest. The staff were great, the room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfy! It was easy to find and the heated pool was a hit! The breakfast in the morning was a perfect way to start our day.

This establishment is a wonderful place to stay. You might not think that at first glance, but it is everything you want in a hotel. It is clean, has a caring staff, and the amenities are well worth the price. I highly recommend staying here and will do so again if I have occasion to be in the area. Well done, BW Canoga Park!

The staff went above and beyond their way to make my stay comfortable. The hotel is so nice and clean and the price for my night was fair. I've been to other hotels that can't compare to this one. I want find a Best Western everywhere I go now!

Everything was great except they would not refill the gravy at the breakfast bar even though it was only 9:20. Other than that, nice room and staff (other than the lady at the breakfast room). Comfortable bed! My kids loved it

We stayed here in late September 2017, on a weekend night. One week advance booking requesting (in writing and verbally via telephone) to be in a quiet room, preferably on the 2nd floor away from high traffic areas (e.g. pool, ice machines, etc.), and was given assurances that there would be "no problem" in accommodating the request. About 4 hours before checking in, we called to confirm our reservation and reiterated our request for a "quiet room on the 2nd floor". Was told all 2nd room floors had already been given out, and only ground floor rooms were available. Disappointed, I reluctantly agreed, but stipulated that it be in a quiet area of the hotel, away from the lobby area and pool. Was assured that ground floor room would be a quiet one. Arrived to find that we had initially been given Room 103, practically next to the high-traffic, Lobby area--hardly quiet. After considerable discussion with the Evening Manager/Clerk, was reassigned to Room 116, which was farther away from the Lobby. Room 116 looked tired/dated, had a cracked vanity, cracked floor tile and furniture that looked like a woodpecker got at it. The worse part was at around 3:30 a.m. two women decided to have a very loud conversation right outside my door in the hallway. In fact, they were so loud I wondered how the Front Desk didn't hear them or the other occupants in the place. I could have called the Front Desk, but doing so would have required turning on the lights, walking across the room to the writing table (because the phone is not on the nightstand) and calling the Front Desk. Doing so would have guaranteed that my husband and child would have been woken up for good--no thanks. Unfortunately, I found out the next morning that my husband and child were awoken too and had to endured the protracted disturbance. The pictures of the room on the website do not necessarily match reality. While the room was clean, there were significant maintenance issues (as previously mentioned) and the ceiling was very low, even for me, and I'm a short person. Sleeping on the pillows were like resting your head on medium sized boulders. The pillows were very hard, stiff and non-conforming. No sound insulation--we could hear every single, heavy, stomping footstep above us, and the muffled conversations of the occupants in the rooms next to us. The only good thing about this place is their breakfasts which are substantial and extensive, offering a variety of foods to choose from. While the Morning Manager was willing to offer a slight discount for the inconveniences, all of the noise and comfort issues were sufficiently significant that I would not return.

I have been staying here for years when I come into town for a visit! The new upgrades they have made are just wonderful! Everything looks beautiful and best of all the staff is just wonderful! I would totally recommend this place to everyone. Added bonus they now have an elevator!!

To start, the hotel was easy to find and located just off the 101. Staff upon arrival was very friendly, and got us checked in pretty fast. Room was nice and met our needs for the few days we were there. The only thing I didn't like, which is true for almost all hotels, is the soft bed. Other than that, everything was good. The area around the hotel was quiet, even though it is right next to a bowling alley. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Lots to choose from. Some of the items included were fresh cut up fruit (cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple & grapes), apples, cereal, muffins & other pastries, oatmeal & grits (instant packs), waffles, sliced meats & cheeses, eggs, bacon or sausage. Even had little cheese omelets the first morning.

I loved the room very clean and nice, I had a problem with the tv but the staff fixed it right away. My only issue is that I paid extra for staying at a room next to the pool but the pool and jacuzzi were out of service other than that I had a great stay at this hotel.

You can always depend on a Best Western in the USA to deliver and certain standard and the BW Canoga Park Motor Inn lived up to that expectation. My King Room was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced (US$182 a night including taxes is good for the LA area!). I can recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

All staff were friendly and nice. My bed was very confortabel and clean. About breakfast I can tell you: food Variety and good quality. Room was clean but quality of Bathroom and the products could be better but overall was good.

Great stay, very clean, excellent customer service and location is convenient. The breakfast room is excellent, many choices to choose from. Restaurant has very good food and reasonable pricing. There is ample parking as well as handicap parking.

Prior to staying at the Best Western in Canoga Park, we read reviews which were so consistently positive that they raised our curiosity. We have stayed there twice this week while traveling and the positive reviews were correct - this hotel is a gem. The staff is wonderful, from the desk to breakfast, and the breakfast is simply the most varied of any hotel we have stayed at in the U.S. Food and beverages were in a compact area, which was initially deceiving. In addition to the items you would expect at a small hotel with free breakfast, there were containers of soy milk and almond milk (a big win for my spouse!), a high protein Greek yogurt, a selection of sliced meats and cheeses which reminded me of breakfasts at European hotels and resorts, dried fruit and more. While we were there, I realized that I had a letter that had to be printed and sent quickly (this particular letter would not be accepted as an email attachment). The desk staff quickly got it printed for me, and a short visit to a FedEx office got the letter on its way. While the hotel is situated on a street and near an intersection, we did not notice any issues with noise. A great experience which we would recommend to everyone!

Nice staff, clean room, east access to bar. Poolanf hot tub on the small side. Was charged for a towel that I had used to clean up make up it could have been washed out but they say it was stained wasn't too happy about that but overall the hotel was worth the money

We have visited relatives in this area for many years but always had trouble finding a good, clean, quite place with good service and a convenient location. This place checked all of the boxes. Never mind the bowling alley image. There was absolutely no negative issues with the alley next door. The staff was terrific at all times. An evening time "welcome room" with refreshments was great and the breakfast was among the best of many Best Western's. Very clean and quiet throughout. We will definitely check availability here first for future trips.

the location was great for the night before i moved closer into the city.. the room was clean and very quite. the bowling alley was nice and next door, which would have been cool if i had the kids with me but i enjoyed watching the others.

Everything was very clean - nice staff. They put out a very good breakfast and clean breakfast room, and even gave us fun passes to the bar/bowling next door We will make this our go-to place in this area.

I travel a LOT and i absolutely love this hotel! everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are happy and comfortable during your stay! I won't ever stay anywhere else when I am in LA I wish every hotel in the US could be trained by the staff at this place!

They really try hard here -- and succeed. I laughed, at first, when I saw the connected Bowling Alley and Restaurant and Arcade and Bar. There are so many jokes I could make about that scenario! In fact, I could not hardly find the hotel, itself -- being distracted by all the other attachments within the same complex. First, my "Downsides"... 1) UNAPPEALING carpeting in the hallways was an unfortunate choice. Lines of brown with ugly green "stains" that really aren't stains -- it's the design. Looks kind of like a large dog leaving butt-trails throughout the hallways. BUTT, if you don't care about esthetics, this place has a LOT to offer. Read on. 2) The bathroom is noisey. The room is completely silent, but you can hear every unappealing gurgle and bodily-created sound coming from adjoining rooms because of the vents. Even hallway banter. And the toilet seat creaked like an old door every time it was moved. Just weird! 3) There is no Change Machine in the Laundry. Just beware -- you'll need $2.50 worth of Quarters for each wash load, plus $2 worth for each dryer load. 4) WiFi Speed was not the best. I switched over to my Company Phone's mobile hotspot -- not that a lot of people have that option. On to the "Highlights"! a) Staff. The Staff is really wonderful here. And very earnest, as well as polite. b) They have a clean facility. Except for the room carpet, which looked like it could use a good scrub in Room 213, everything was very clean. Even the Laundry area. The Staff was constantly cleaning the hallways, etc. c) They offer amenities I've not noticed at many places. Such as a pool (although a bit spartan) with a lift chair for the disabled or elderly. The toiletries were very decent, and not necessarily under-sized. Plenty of towels -- big, fluffy towels. GREAT WATER PRESSURE from the shower! Nice-sized TV. A/C that works well. Free coffee and water in the Lobby. Free coffee in your room. d) Breakfast Bar -- I really tried to hate this. Okay, the typical buffet with those awful eggs exists here -- but they do try very hard. It's well-stocked. Lots of variety. You can make your own poured-batter waffles. Multiple choices in fruit, danish, yogurts -- even a cheese and boiled-egg bar! Plenty of beverage options. Free USA Today (unless they run out). Warning: They serve different meats and potatoes each day. One day is bacon. The next might be patty sausage. Not all on the same day. Probably 12 different toppings for cereal and waffles -- real walnuts, almonds and strawberries, as an example. e) Adjacent Bowling Alley, Arcade and Bar are all icing on the cake! Especially if you are traveling with children. And the rooms are far enough away that you never hear any of that noise. f) That attached Restaurant serves some of the best food! Real roasted turkey-breast sandwiches were a surprise. Not from a turkey roll. And the cost for Room Service does NOT change the cost if you are sitting in the restaurant. $9.50 for that sandwich? As Room Service? Unheard of, today! The portions are large, too. g) Finally -- something I did not partake of -- a Manager's Welcome on certain nights. Free munchies and beverages in their meeting space. They did call the room to invite me, but I was simply too tired. But like I said, the Management and Staff really try hard here. And it shows.

Great room and esthetics. Newly remodeled. Excellent service from all staff. Nice pool and spa area. Good full breakfast and great welcome spread that even had Rodney Strong wine! The restaurant had great home style food. Never had a chance to use bowling alley but would like to next time.

I was looking for a hotel in this area that had ample parking. I happened to be pulling a trailer and needed space. While Canoga Park is mostly residential this Best Western fit the bill. The hotel itself was quite nice, very clean and the complimentary foods were unexpectedly amazing and diverse. There was an afternoon manager's reception, which at most BW and other similar hotels means...chips, salsa and a beer and wine choice. This hotel had hot foods, cold snacks, choices of wines and beers and even some exotic foreign dishes. Again, unexpected and very appreciated. The place is quiet and there is a nice cafe attached, also.

Although the location may leave a bit to be desired, the staff and cleanliness of the hotel made it all worthwhile! The attached bowling alley/bar/diner were an extra perk! especially after a long drive... Overall I am very happy with my stay and again the entire staff was amazingly kind, friendly, and helpful!

Stayed here to try to split the distance between universal studios and the beaches. Not a bad drive to universal, brutal drive on the 405 to the beaches. Took topanga canyon route to Zumba beach per staff recommendation and that wasn't too bad. The hotel is newly remodeled and looks nice. The breakfast was very nice! Healthy choices and a good variety.

Will go back on our family trip next year. It would of been nice if the jazzucci would of been heated and they had a working ventilation system in the bathrooms. Besides that everyone was outstanding with us. Thanks again

This bestwestern is stunning. The staff is helpful, the breakfast delicious, and the room was stylish as well as comfortable. We are new to LA and had a ton of questions. I don't know what we would have done without the staff. The room was so comfortable and had so many great amenities that helped us relax after a 7hr drive

This place has a Free Breakfast Room, Restaurant, Bar-Lounge, Arcade, Bowling, Billiards, Swimming Pool,and Fitness room, and a Business center all together in one place. Great place if you have kids.

Despite being in a weird location. And having tight parking (I have none the less always found a great parking spot)... it is easy to get to and is one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in in the area! Fair price as well!

The place to stay when in the valley. The Best Western in Canoga Park has just recently completed their renovation. The hotel is first class and full value for the money. The free breakfast is first class with a huge outdoor pool and attached bowling ally and restaurant as well.

The staff and rooms were more than expected during our stays. I guess because of graduations (in the college) everything went up in prices. We found BW and that was th best decision ever. Their rooms are comparable to where I stayed last time(starts with an M and is in warner center). The checkout and check in were a breeze and the whole staff group, including the breakfast/hordevours ladies to the maids all did an exceptional job. They are all caring and make sure you have everything you need. I'm recommending you to all my friends and family now. I was very surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel itself. THANK you for making our stay a wonderful one.

Last year when I went to LA area, my wife happened to book Best Western in Canoga Park. When we got there after dinner, I felt a little weird about its location since it was located in a shopping plaza right next to a bowling alley. So I asked the front desk staff if it was safe to park there. He said it is very safe - he was professional and very nice. Since we were just staying one night there we just went to bed. But after a while I started hearing some sound (like water dropping every few second). I tried to find where it was coming from but couldn't see anything. After a while, I figured that it was from the condensation from 2nd floor AC unit dropping on AC unit in my room (on top of the unit sticking outside of the room). So i went to the front desk and talked to a staff - he didn't believe my theory, but when we went outside together and checked it out, that was the case. So I placed a hand towel on top of the AC unit so that when to dampen the sound of water drop hitting the metal casing of AC unit. After that it was all quiet. The next morning when I looked outside the window, I saw additional towel placed on top of AC - obviously the staff came back there to place another, which was very nice. So 5 stars for the service.

We were very happy with the accommodations here. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was very well maintained and clean. There was a vast assortment of breakfast items, and they even provided a "To Go" bag with a few items in it, if you had to check out early.

I got in very late after attending a funeral, all I wanted to do was to sleep. At 7 o'clock in the morning and employee walked into the room at 8 o'clock in the morning with the same employee came knocking on the door very annoying when all I wanted to do was get a good nights sleep because I had a long drive back home.

Staff was friendly, caring and helpful. Great amenities Facility and room were clean and comfortable. Mattress was very comfy. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional! I will stay here again when I am in the area.

Not far from my office I found this affordable place with clean rooms and a friendly staff. Not an ideal location but it was work related so I had to stay close by. Will definitely come back again and recommend this location to others, as well, if they need to be in this area.

The rooms are clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Don't be put off by the fact that it's attached to a bowling alley/bar. We loved having a bar available and we would've bowled if we had more time. Upon check in they provided us with two for one bowling passes and drink coupons. The breakfast had great variety and was well stocked even when I ran down 15 min before it was over. Parking or noise was never an issue for us. There is a Westfield shopping mall, off Saks 5th Ave, Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls, TJMaxx, and Target within 10 min driving or less for your shopping needs. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family except for those looking for the spa resort retreat.

We needed two rooms for our son's graduation from CSUN. Despite being at a busy intersection it was quiet in our room and it felt very comfortable inside. We forgot we were in the middle of a city. The room is nicely decorated, seemed recently redone and their papaya scented bathroom amenities were outstanding. The service was great as was the breakfast. We never got a chance to use the pool or hot tub but maybe next time! I would definitely stay there again as our son is staying in the area for a while.

No doubt I would stay at this particular Best Western again! The remodel is a success. The room was cleaned and restocked on time every day. The breakfast bar is fantastic and the staff is top notch friendly! Plus they have a bowling center on site to give kids something fun to do that is convenient. A nice touch was a Paige Mackenzie mystery book loan in the lobby. Great reading for all ages with a pre-paid return envelope if you need to take it when you check out.

Excellent rooms and there was great sound proofing. The breakfast was the best I've had and had the largest selection I have seen. The desk clerk answered all of our questions about the area. He called us about a half hour after we went to our rooms to see if everything was OK.

Its located next door to a bowling alley. doesn't immediately 'appear' to be that great on the outside. As you walk into the front reception area (smaller than most), the NIGHT & DAY staff that greeted me (and i was LATE checking in) were very friendly, informative, co-operative & helpful. WELL DONE! to the owner/manager of this establishment.

The personnel were friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and the location for us was perfect. (We were in back). No problem with parking even though there is a bowling alley on site. Convenient for meals and cocktails without driving around.

We went to Universal Studios Hollywood with family and we booked this hotel from home and we thought is was going to be far but it was not. this hotel is better than the hotels near Universal and not that expensive, it was a 20 min drive. Its not expensive and very clean with awesome breakfast choices.(if you get there early)

I stayed at this Best Western while visiting a relative at a nearby hospital. I was surprised when I drove up and saw a bowling alley next door. I was welcomed by friendly staff who shared some information about the hotel and invited to their breakfast, two-for-one drinks and bowling. My room was impeccable containing everything I needed and more than I expected. Facial towelettes to clean off makeup, a wipe to clean and polish my shoes, in addition to the usual shampoos and more. The gym had newer equipment and I was able to get in two great workouts: elliptical, treadmill, bike, weight bench, free weights, and an all purpose weight machine. They also offered filtered water, towels, and a rest room. There's a pool and jacuzzi. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the Keurig offered good coffee. Mostly, the staff was thoughtful and attentive. One in particular, Mireya, picked up on my grief and gave me a hug. Everyone was attentive offering to assist with directions to local places, toothpaste, or conversation. The breakfast had both American and European options, fresh and good quality. I had a positive overall experience and recommend it.

Wonderful breakfast. Tons of options, including hot options. Only thing in the room was the bathroom had no working ventilation so got very hot in there after a shower. Front desk staff when checked in was very helpful & friendly. Let me check in early. Only had issue when trying to book with a group rate, didn't seem to be on their books. Associate did offer me a manager's special that was only a couple dollars more so that was good but not sure why didn't know about our group rate.

It was a comfortable and cozy place to stay with a competitive rate. The breakfast offered slightly more variety than the typical of a motel. Breakfast was included. It fits budget-minded travelers. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although it is a little out of the way, it is still at a very convenient location within a few miles of I-405 and Rt. 101.

This hotel went beyond my expectations! I was very comfortable and the rooms were clean and homey. The amenities were great. I loved the pool and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It was close to everywhere I wanted to go and the free on site parking was great. I would definitely stay there again!

WOW....even though the hotel was re-doing the lobby when we stayed, it didn't detract from the fantastic bedroom product they have nor the outstanding breakfast offering. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, with amenities I have never seen in a hotel - a black face cloth for women to remove their make up. How thoughtful is that! I have often, to my shame, ruined a white face cloth with mascara etc. The lotions, shampoo & conditioner and mouth wash were all of really good quality as were the towels and bedlinen.....and the sanitized TV remote was a nice touch. Fridge and microwave...really well equipped and planned bedroom. Breakfast was outstanding, never before have I seen as much attention to detail with regards to a breakfast offering. There was something for everyone, covering All American breakfast, Eastern European, Mediterranean, healthy, veggie, vegan.....just too many items to mention....fresh, delicious, hot, cold...thank you so much for a really fantastic experience. We will be back!

This is a great property great customer service worked so hard to get me a room at checkout so that I could get some rest before getting back on the highway the bed and pillows are so soft I look forward to staying here again if I'am in the area.

The outside appearance looks rather scary(right next to a bowling alley) but don't let that deter you. One of the nicest hotels we stayed at, the staff was very nice and service was exceptional ( we stayed here twice during our stay) and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a very good choice. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Although this is not close to universal , I would still highly recommend it as its not easy to find a place where you feel at home.There is a restaurant next door which serves decent food but there is a better choice at Topanga mall (10 mins cab drive ) but most of all this is great value for money.

Stayed one night while attending my aunts birthday. At first appearance you find yourself kind of wondering how this place will be when attached to a bowling alley. Upon checking in my worries faded as we were greeted by a very nice man who was very polite and willing to answer any questions I had. My first question was security of my truck. I looked behind the check in desk to probably a dozen security cameras being monitored at all times. Upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. It had obviously been upgraded and all bed linens looked new. The room was clean with no obvious problems. My only complaint is a personal one where it seems like all hotels are going to the large puffy pillows which I don't care for...again, just a personal problem of mine. The room came with a breakfast and for a hotel breakfast it wasn't bad. Much more to choose from than other breakfasts I have had before. Eggs, sausage,cereals, breads, muffins, fruit, waffles....quite a selection. Check out was just as easy with absolutely no issues. Overall a good stay

Had to be at hospital at 6 am for breast cancer surgery . Since we live out of town we went down the night before and stayed at this hotel down the street from the hospital it was a very nice the staff was nice and attentive when needed left too early for the full breakfast but the grab-and-go bags they offered was convenient . Forgot our toothbrushes. The front desk had some and toothpaste also . The bowling alley's cafe had a good Reuben sandwich

Every couple of months of I need to stay overnight in the area and I have tried a number of budget hotels. Most of them I find them a little creepy and as a single woman staying alone, somewhat scary. Unlike the other places I've stayed, this hotel was a great find! The man at the desk was friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, large, very clean. It had good lighting, a reasonably quiet air conditioner and an extremely comfortable bed. I liked that the remote control was in a little bag indicating it had been cleaned, too. There was a little fridge and a microwave. The reservation included a free breakfast and it was so far above what I expected. It included scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, freshly made waffles, cereals, fruits, yogurts, cheese, hummus and pita and much more that I'm probably forgetting. And it was good! I will definitely stay here again. And about the bowling alley -- I was a little leery about it when I pulled in but the clientele didn't look scary. On the other side of the parking lot was a pumpkin patch for kids so that put me at ease as well.

I stayed one night on the way to LA and was looking for a place before the city as I drove on Friday night. The stay very pleasant - clean room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. The building looked a bit old but inside was nicely remodeled. The staffs were very friendly. Very good value for $$.

I can't tell you how much it means to me to feel comfortable and relaxed when checking into a hotel. From the moment I checked in to the end of my stay I was very satisfied with every aspect of this hotel and its staff. To start when i checked in the blond girl at the desk (i think the name was miriah?) that morning was welcoming, very informative and truly kind. Breakfast was outstanding!!! Great variety of foods to choose from. Clean and orderly! Room was clean and everything was working perfectly. I was not disturbed at all. I will reserving here again on my next trip. THANKS :)

This hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable. It had recently been updated. The breakfast area was nice and presented very well. We had a comfortable bed. The parking lot was a bit challenging, especially with the bowling alley right next door, but we managed. We did not use the pool, and the jacuzzi looked like it had some sort of green slime or fungus in it. It needed to be cleaned. We would stay here again in the future.

Provided everything we expected and more. All staff courteous from front desk, breakfast, and room attendants. Renovation well done from furniture, beds, to the excellent bath room towels. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

I usually don't rate on Trip Advisor. Although it doesn't seem great from the outside looking in, once you get inside the hotel was really nice. The rooms were comfortable, clean and felt like a higher ranked hotel. I have stayed twice now and will continue to stay here when in the area. A bonus is the attached bowling alley for late night fun.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Complimentary breakfast which has lot of options. They have a business center where I could take Universal tickets print which was convenient. It is some distance from the city but on a good day it doesnt matter much.

Great hotel, competitive price, nice amenities, courteous staff and the breakfast buffet was amazing for a family with teenagers who can't always agree on eating at the same restaurant. We will come back to this Best Western on our next trip to LA.

This hotel has been completely renovated and is very nice and comfortable. The cost is a excellent considering the alternatives in this area. An excellent complimentary breakfast buffet was served. Upon arriving we were directed to the complimentary happy hour, which was very much appreciated after our stressful day. Overall it was a pleasant surprise.

On our way to a wedding weekend in Ojai, we wanted to see an old friend in Woodland Hills. We found a lovely 'mid-century/retro' motel in Canoga Park and was pleasantly surprised. This property was delightful and a good value by L.A. standards.

I like getting good customer service and get quality for what I pay for. That's exactly what I got here. It's unfortunate I didn't have time to use everything they had to offer. The pool, room, and fitness center were great though. And the full breakfast and service was awesome.

This was our first time at Best Western. This property was excellent; very comfortable bed, nice room, quiet, really nice breakfast - nice variety and quantity offered. Friendly staff. Overall, a very good value. We will stay there again.

Bad neiborhood,very noisey streets outside,bad service,we arrived got our room cards went to room already had someone's bags inside we called front desk they came and got bags said it must have been left behind from last renter but we said wouldn't the maid have found it, then about an hour later someone tryed to get in are door good thing they issued us new cards it was the people that were renting the same room and they were not happy I told them sorry and to see the manager for there luggage! Also if your using room points this outdated hotel in a bad neiborhood wants 20,000 point for a free night not 8,000 like most come on it's an old outdated hotel it's not a new hotel on the ocean!

Okay, get a load of this. If you want to check in early at this place they will charge you a fee. Would you believe it? Kinda reminds you of the airlines doesn't it. This place was built around 1950 and the plumbing is pretty bad, the shower would barely drain. I got the feeling that employees have more right to be here than a paying customer. The rooms are over priced and definitely not worth it. The manager seems to berate the cleaning girls. The wifi is really bad, practically non-existent. There is no way this place compares to a Marriot on any level.

Had a great time relaxing and enjoying the great amendities this Hotel had to offer. I did not have to leave the Hotel because there was much to do there from enjoying the clean pool, workout center to bowling and pool tables/arcade. The breakfast was also very good!

Very good hotel in terms of staff and cleanliness. Upgraded rooms now on part with Hilton or Marriott Courtyard. Internet is fast and the flat panel TV is high definition. Didn't try the pool but it looks good.

We needed a one night stay on our way to meetings at my daughter's new college. Even though the outside parking area seemed was sketchy, once inside we were pleasantly surprised. As we arrived at 10pm, we weren't able to bowl, but perhaps next time. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and that's what we needed for an overnight after a long drive. The staff were friendly and courteous. We will stay again.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking in this area. Friendly staff, great customer service. Clean, neat, well maintained and modern. Breakfast was extensive. Highly recommend and would go back. Bowling alley next door was great too. We went for drinks, food, and to bowl one night.

stayed here past weekend , I would recommend staying here . very nice updated rooms and hotel nice pool even have hot tub and fitness room .Hotel attached to bowling center and bar and restaurant .. you don't even have to go anywhere for food or fun .. Nice bar with band on Friday night and karaoke on Saturday night ..was fun for us bowling pool table area even a acarde and bowling until 2 am

Upon arrival at this hotel, I was a little disappointed. It has the renovated motel look and it was attached to a bowling alley. But, once inside, it was nice. My room was very nice--modern and upgraded. It looked brand new. Everything was very clean. I am usually very loyal to Hilton properties, but there wasn't one close to where I needed to stay. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and helpful. If in this area, I would stay here again.

Great place to stay. This was our third time staying...gets better each time. Rooms are updated & roomy. Bowling alley next door has a great coffee shop within a very short walk or you can order room service. Highly recommended. Staff was courteous and friendly.

The Motor Inn was more than expected. Rooms clean, renovated and roomy. Breakfast was 5 star. Employees top notch. This will be our go to hotel when we are in the area. An excellent grill is located right next to the hotel, as well as a bowling alley. Wonderful accomodations.

The rooms were really nice and modern. All the amenities in the room worked without a hitch. The bed was very comfortable. Amazing staff, very nice people that were very easy to talk to and made the process a whole lot easier. Breakfast was great.

This hotel continues to improve its looks and rooms. A safe and quiet place to stay. Great Cafe next door in Bowling Alley. Friendly staff to make your stay comforable. Once they know you it feels like family.

We stayed three nights at the BEST WESTERN Canoga Park Motor Inn and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is being renovated. That said, our room was already updated and the hallways, and common areas were clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was quite good. We will be returning to this hotel in the future, as we have family near this location and would recommend it both families and business travelers. We used the pool and hot tub; both were in good condition and quite welcome after long days site seeing.

Hotel is being renovated and painted inside and out. There has been much improvement since our last stay here, especially in the rooms. Breakfast is now in a separate room instead of hotel lobby area.

So i am staying in many motels and hotels recently I came to this place looking for fair price and nice and clean place This inn maybe not too big or in the middle of nature nor 5 stars hotel But room very clean and comfortable and stuff are so friendly and make you feel like home Definitely recommended Guys keep the good work , don't change to warm feeling Other and more luxury places need to learn from them

it was under construction. lobby is small. People are very nice and it is in a convenient location. breakfast is really good and the lady working there is super nice. In fact everybody i talked to there is super nice. But it's attached to a huge parking lot with bowling and billiards or something. I didn't get it!

Everyone at this hotel is invested in making your stay pleasant. The staff is very friendly, even if you casually pass them in the hall. The breakfast buffet has a variety of selections to accommodate every dietary preference. The manager went beyond the call of duty to welcome and greet us each time he saw us. He is very proud of his hotel. While remodeling is ongoing, every effort is made to make the experience as seamless as possible. No noticeable construction noise at our end of the property.

Really comfortable room. Security guard looks like he should work at a Theme park (doubt he could handle an incident.) Hotel was being remodeled while I was staying there...but room was VERY comfortable, fitness center was nice. I bit pricey, but overall a nice stay.

Los Angeles is a big, noisy urban jungle. This hotel was my sanctuary. I watched television, took shower and called friends. Morning breakfast was sumptuous and generous.I was famished, so I ate quite a bit. I requested a noon checkout which was granted with a smile.Although close to a busy street, the room was deliciously serene.

Although I found the hotel online, I called and booked my room personally. In the meantime, my plans changed and I needed to stay an additional night. This was no problem and they accommodated me with no problem. The free breakfast was very very well-balanced in nutrition and the staff were neat and very helpful. I recommend this place and I would stay there again.

We highly recommend this Best Western! First, the staff and General Manager (Eddie) were very professional and accommodating. Even though they were "under construction," our room was excellent. Very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was the nicest we have experienced. There was something for every diet and taste, even pita and hummus! We will stay here again, while visiting family.

Elevator is not operational and won't be until April 2016 at least according to staff. Breakfast was very good and service there was exceptional. Once construction is completed we would give them another try. Hotel is next to Bowling alley, which could be good or bad depending if you bowl.

When I first arrived I was put off by all the construction and dust, but after entering the room I was amazed. Clean in every respect and I am fussy. The next morning breakfast was great as we did not have hot chocolate and the girl over heard. She went out of her way to make us one. When I arrived home I found I left my schedule book there. YUK! It had everything I needed to work the following days. I called them; they found it and sent it right out to me. Service with a smile I believe. Wonderful people, great place to stay.

This location is under remodeling that is not suitable for customer to stay. The hall way tiles were totally removed with bad smell. Paint was wet on the wall. Ceiling lights were hanging in the middle of air.

The outside is under construction. But the rooms are fantastic. So comfortable. So clean. Very homey. Love the coffee makers in the room and the comfy beds. I stayed there one time and fell in love with the place. It's now my go to place to stay.

The site is under construction. The vending machines were unplugged and there were no working elevators. The water coming from the tap & toilet was yellow-brown. The only positive that I can say was that the bed was comfortable. I will not return.

This place was the best place that I have prob ever stayed, everything was great especially their breakfast! When I go back to the area I will definitely be staying here again. They are also doing some expansion to it to make it an even better place to stay.

The inside of the hotel rooms are gorgeous. I was worried when I first pulled up with the construction going on, but I had no reason to worry. The decor is gorgeous and the rooms are comfortable. If I have to return to the area, that's where I'd want to stay.

This must have been an interesting concept when it was built. The bowling alley came first, 1958. The hotel was attached in 1962. It's a hidden gem. The hotel is clean, well run, very nice rooms, reasonably priced with free breakfast. The bowling alley is adjacent, has a restaurant and bar. They are here to stay. The hotel shows signs of recent upgrades and they were building an elevator when I stated there in early October 2015. (Elevator wasn't required in 1962). I'd definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay, safe, Cafe next door, clean place with friendly service. I like using the Cafe so I do not have to drive while I am there. Rooms have been upgrading for several years and the comfort level is very nice for a relaxing stay.

I am glad I read the reviews before booking. Perfect hotel sitting on a suburban street corner attached to a bowling alley. Room quality is that of a more expensive hotel. Very polite and helpful staff. Free WiFi with strong signal in the rooms. Tv has all the major cable channels. Free hot breakfast - waffles and such. Check in is 3pm. No complaints.

We have stayed at this hotel before and they have made some nice improvements since we were last there. They are still making upgrades, but it will be a good addition. The Staff is very helpful. They have a nice touch of providing drink coupons to the adjacent Lounge / Bar.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it is even better than before. Don't be taken back by the fact it is connected to a bowling alley. I gave it 4 stars because it is clean, extremely comfortable, well updated, quiet rooms, and friendly, helpful staff. Their breakfast is the best I have had anywhere. The pool, while a tight space, is clean and pleasant. It is by far and away the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend this hotel/motor Inn. You won't be disappointed! And next time I visit the elevator will be finished!

We stayed here with our 2 kids (8 year old twins) for a couple of nights because we were attending a wedding nearby. It is a nice motel that has been updated fairly well (except for the common hallways which are very 1970s). We had an updated room with two queens and it was clean and comfortable. It was not huge, but had enough space for the 4 of us, and a closet in which to hang our dressy clothes for the wedding as well as an iron and ironing board which were important given the occasion. There is a small pool and hot tub, which our kids loved. I used the gym and it was very small, but perfectly serviceable. It seemed newly updated with new carpet and paint. There was a good breakfast buffet with a fairly large spread for a motel like this. Lots of fruit options (which seems to be rare), eggs, toast, muffins, waffles, yogurt, etc. What we really liked was that the hotel is connected to a bowling alley, with an arcade. And, it is very close to a lot of well reviewed (on yelp) restaurants. Given our short stay, and along with the pool and jacuzzi, this provided fun options for activities for our kids, and it was easy to go out to lunch and dinner very close by. It was also a very good value at only about $116/night. I would definitely stay here again if in the area, and would recommend it as long as you aren't expecting a 5 star luxury property and want a simple motel.
