Best Western Plus Media Center Inn & Suites

Great place to stay. Lovely area plenty of food choices and easy access to all major attractions. Clean, quiet, friendly, and comfy beds. FREE PARKING The only downside was NO water pressure. Seriously had to use a plastic cup to wash my hair!

My room had no view to speak of, Vey dark. The first floor was even darker. I asked to be switched. They were willing accommodate me which I greatly appreciated. The room itself was nice but still lacking any view to speak of..

I was able to stay on the 3rd floor, with no noise or disturbance from other guests and I had a relaxing stay, in spite of the holiday travel rush. I use the Fitness center every day, have breakfast until 9 am. Thank you.

Every time I wanted to take a shower it would not turn on . I had to call the front desk for assistance, it would be fixed and the next time ,I went to shower it would not work . It was pretty annoying to keep calling to have it fixed . Location is close to universal studios.

Perfect location, walking distance from the amusement park. Attentive staff, clean & spacious rooms. Plus underground parking for guests. Highly recommended for a peaceful and neat stay away from the hectic LA traffic It was a pleasant experience.

This location is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room are wonderfully kept up and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Also, the rooms are very quiet. I never heard any noise during the course of the night. The location is amazing. Warner Brothers Studio is a block away. The original Bob's Big Boy is within walking distance away (about two blocks). Universal Studios is about 3 miles away and downtown Burbank is a few miles down the road. I have been staying at this location for about 12 years and I truly enjoy everything about it. Staying here makes me feel like I am home.

We stayed at the BW Plus Media Center at the end of August 2023. The staff was nice & welcoming, and the location was great. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance, and a Trader Joes & Whole Foods close by the hotel. The hotel has underground parking, which was nice. We would stay there again. The pool was small and had minimal room around the edges for sitting. There were racks for pool towels outside the gated pool area, but the racks were empty the day we went to check the pool out. I have teens and they looked at the pool, but didn't have any interest in swimming. Younger kids would probably enjoy it. Our room was clean and the regular beds were comfortable. One of my boys slept on the hide-a-bed and that was not comfortable at all. He is around 90lbs, so definitely would not recommend for an adult. Overall we didn't spend a lot of time in the room and only stayed a couple of days. Our family was in Burbank to visit Universal Studios and other activities in the area, so the location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The breakfast offered was sufficient and the breakfast room was a bit small. During our stay the breakfast offerings were cereal & milk, packets of oatmeal, powdered (or premixed) scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles & syrup, bananas, muffins, yogurt, bread, bagels, and a toaster, premade refrigerated breakfast burritos, and condiments like peanut butter, jelly, cream cheese, etc. There was a juice machine and another machine that you could select hot chocolate, coffee, and hot water for tea. I may have missed something, but that is the gist. We ate at a couple restaurants that were within walking distance from the hotel and they were really good. Even my very pick teens enjoyed their meals.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We were booked for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom suite to go to Universal Studios. The hotel is extremely dated and the room felt like we were in a basement. We figured we would be fine as we were really only sleeping there and spending out day out of the hotel. The first night I noticed 1 or 2 dead bugs in the washroom. As my kids were already in bed for the night, I wiped down the whole counter and decides to leave it til morning. The next morning, more dead bugs in the sink and a bunch crawling around the counter. When I went into the 2nd bedroom there were a bunch of bugs crawling all over the dresser. We began videoing and photographing to show staff. We piled all of our belongings away from the bugs and talked to gentleman at the front desk, showing him the video. He apologized and said they would check it out but probably would need to move us rooms. We let him know that we'd be out for the day so he said he'd call and update us. About an hour later, they left a voice mail telling us that we'd be moved to 2 adjoining rooms as there were no other family suites available. When we called back, he suddenly changed his mind and said the room was fine and they had it all cleaned. 12 hours later...we returned exhausted from Universal to find bugs crawling everywhere yet again. We packed up all of our belongings and demanded a refund. They refused to refund us or move us rooms. We declined and said we already had made a reservation elsewhere. As we were walking out the door, they suddenly offered us a pair of adjoining rooms upstairs. When we questioned why had they removed this option after offering it to us this morning, they made random excuses and we said we were done and left. We are out $600 from their bug infested hotel room. I wish I could add videos to this review as the pictures don't do it justice.

The ice machine on the 2nd floor was not working & we were not told this at check in. The dryer did not dry clothes the 1st time around, even though it was listed as industrial size. The lint trap has not been cleaned. The shower pressure in the shower was not very good. The size of the room was adequate. We booked a suite & it only had one bathroom. Suites should have two bathrooms.

If you are planning on staying here to drive to Universal I suggest you book a cheaper hotel that is a bit farther away from the park. The $350 plus fee was outrageous for a BW. This one in particular had very few food items, internet doesn't work well, the AC is either you freeze or you get sweaty ( needs fixing). Yes the location is close but having a room that the window is really not a window but there is a wall where the window is …. It's truly outrageous. The staff was nice. The hotel not really.

Only a few maintenance issues with the stay. Elevator remained a HUGE issue for me. The AC worked perfectly, but seemed to have something wrong with sensor to adjust the degrees. Minor tweaks to the building itself, but would stay again as long as I don't have time constraints. In my opinion Best Western has always had the best complimentary breakfast.

Stayed 5 days and the room was only cleaned twice, had to complain to get room service. The sheets were torn and never changed, since the torn sheet was there for the whole stay. Front desk staff doubled as breakfast bar attendants, so the service was lacking. Tables and trash cans were not cleaned regularly. I do not recommend this property.

Pretty good location ,nice rooms . However,you may as well bring your own cleaning supplies because you'll be the only person cleaning your room .For a three night stay ,the room was not attended to at all . Upon talking to the front desk staff about about the cleanliness of the room ,we were offered a whopping $15 discount off of an almost $1,000 bill. There was a mild apology about staffing shortages . Well done Best Western ! You've just lost a customer and you deserve to lose a lot more

We stayed here to visit universal studios Hollywood. I read they had a shuttle bus they don't. But had free parking. We missed breakfast as we were leaving to get to the attractions but an earlier breakfast would've been nice.

Front desk really friendly & helpful.Problems we had A/C didn't work day we checked in,front desk did fix.Room clean the day we checked in but sheets had holes. The following day room didn't get cleaned at all & when wanted to upgrade room,we would pay difference,front desk called owner & he said no.After all problems I feel upgrading shouldn't have been a problem.

Breakfast made us ill. Room was unclean. Maid service was never present (in fact, I don't believe they had any on staff). Staff were rude and dismissive. Food at breakfast was out of date and unhygienic. Please spend your money anywhere else.

Pretty rubbish, rude staff, broken gym equipment rubbish left all over the place, and no one cleaned the rooms. Still using covid as an excuse the breakfast room was poor and packed full of people so no room to sit down. V disappointing and the staff didnt even listen when I spoke to them about the issues

Nice attentive caring staff, clean rooms, clean common areas, accommodated for early checkin, parking and breakfast included. I think they also had a pool but I was only there for one night and couldn't get to use it. A little pricey but I booked last minute and it's in a very good area

Clean room. Nice staff. Convenient location. Lots of restaurants located nearby. Continental breakfast was provided. Bed was comfortable.10 minute walk to WB studios tour. 10 minute drive from Universal Studios. 10 minute drive from Burbank airport.

Definitely one of the best experiences we've had at a hotel. The owner personally made sure we were satisfied. The room was like new, and I actually asked what kind of mattresses they use because it was so comfortable. The Wifi was fast, and the internet also had a physical plug-in which I prefer with my laptop. The location was perfect and included secure parking at no extra cost, and the breakfast was way better than expected with a great selection and large very clean dining room. We couldn't ask for more and will definitely be back whenever we're in the north Los Angeles area.

The lobby and rooms were clean, they had good breakfast with a variety of either cold or warm foods and also had great and very friendly guest service. It is close to the airport and I stayed one night, went to another hotel closer to some other attractions and then came back here for 5 more nights. I would stay here again!

Stayed here on our trip to Universal. Great location to a lot of things! We could walk to Warner brother's studio, 10 min drive to universal, and 10 min drive to the airport. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the breakfast had good selection (and good coffee!), but the pool was hard to find (2nd floor) and was a bit dirty.

Great location for my business needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast! Loved trying all the local restaurants. There was an excellent variety of choices to eat, and I enjoyed them. Definitely coming back.

I want to make this a fair and accurate review. The condition of the hotel is very good. Everything was in working order and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower head is extremely low. I am 5'4 and this is the first time I have ever been taller than a shower head. Not a huge deal for me, but if you are tall this may really bother you. The free breakfast was clean and adequate, although at 8:30 it was pretty decimated and when I asked a staff person in the room if there was any more fruit she literally WAVED ME OFF like I was annoying her. That was very typical of the total lack of hospitality at this hotel. We had a reservation for 2 rooms/2 nights made directly at bestwestern.com. At check in, I was told by the manager (maybe owners?) the reservation was for 1 room/2 nights and 1room/1 night. I attempted to show the gentleman my confirmation email, but he REFUSED to look at it, and kept repeating "No, you don't have 2 nights on the second room." He them charged me the RACK RATE for that 2nd night not the rate I had on my reservation. He was very agitated and told me if I had a problem to "Take it up with Best Western." In the middle of this conversation the phone rang and he held up his palm to me - basically STOP TALKING - while he took the call. No "excuse me," no "would you mind holding on a minute?" Then the person on the phone asked if they could check in early and instead of saying "I'm so sorry, we are full and can't accommodate that" he said "Check in is at 3:00pm - NO EXCEPTIONS." Truly I was stunned at his rudeness and when I told him I thought he was being rude he said - "This is just how I talk." I was blown away. And it wasn't just me - I observed very curt and direct conversations with several others. So sadly, even though I liked the hotel I couldn't bring myself to stay here again based on how I was treated. I wasn't looking for anything out of the ordinary, just for my reservation to be honored and for at least an ACKNOWLEDGMENT that there had been a mistake with the reservation. I will indeed "take this up with Best Western" and I hope someone kinder and more caring takes over the desk duties. I think this guy may have been the owner/manager, and he should stick to behind-the-scenes tasks.

Great place, next to many good restaurants. Don Cuco, Mexican restaurant across the street was great. Friendly, clean, comfortable. Front desk staff was great. Overall, excellent place close to many attractions.

I stayed here in 2019 and decided to come back based on its location to Universal (10-15 min drive). Both experiences were great. The hotel itself appears to be up to date and clean. The room itself was also very clean. Parking is free and I like how it is in an underground garage. Staff was friendly at check in. Breakfast is free, which we only tried on one of the days. It was really crowded so we hurried to grab and go what we could….can't speak to the quality since we only had fruit. There are many restaurants within walking distance which is also very convenient. I had asked for a quiet room, if possible, which they let me know they were able to accommodate at check in. Our room had windows looking out on I think homes? View wasn't great but that didn't bother me. The first morning (Friday) it was extremely loud starting at 7am and continued until after we left (9:30ish). It looked like a tree cutting company who were working on the homes nearby. It was honestly really loud and annoying but I know it wasn't the hotels fault and they likely didn't know that would happen. There were no problems the following morning. I'd definitely recommend to others and will return in the future!

Stayed at this location because it was close to Warner Brother studios. A 10 minute walk between the BWP and Warner Brothers studios. Lots of great places to eat. Walking for fun let's you see cute local businesses. It's a center point for outward attractions. Easy to catch ride shares and go anywhere for $20. Safe, quiet, clean, friendly. It's a multimillion dollar neighborhood.

We were in the area for Universal Studios, it was a 5 minute drive. The rooms were very clean and had lots of space in the bathroom and desk area. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was very nice. No noise issues or parking concerns. There was an underground garage for parking. Good food spots close by as well!

Took a day trip to go to Universal Studios and decided to rent a hotel to beat rush hour traffic in L.A. This hotel is walking distance from Warner Brothers Studios and 2 miles from Universal Studios. There are a couple dozen restaurants near this hotel. Nice area. Hotel has underground parking.

Loved this hotel. The hotel was quiet and clean. There was ample onsite parking. Due to covid, currently, the hotel provides breakfasts in a bag.The area felt safe, with a number of restaurants available nearby. I will defintely stay here on my next trip.

Overall a fine place. Loved having the free parking garage. Great location with restaurants nearby and easy access to the interstate. My daughter and I felt very safe. Easy access to the attractions we wanted to see. Breakfast was brown bag--could've been much better--tired of covid being used as an excuse to not provide full guest services. The upsetting part was the coffee (we hope!) stains on the sheets and the food someone had left in the microwave. Obviously cleanliness was not their priority because when we reported it to the front desk, we didn't even receive an apology!! Very unhappy with that aspect of guest treatment.

For anyone with business in downtown Burbank, or with business at any of the major movie studios, the hotel is extremely convenient. It is also remarkably quiet. Plus, there are many great eating establishments all within walking distance. The room I was in was large and the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

The Check in guy was amazing, we had a couple of things that we noticed when we went to our room, but he was there very quickly to make them right. The morning guy, when we went to pick up our sack breakfast, limited us to 1 cup of coffee per person. I understand you are on a limited breakfast because of covid, but really only 1 cup of coffee?? And the breakfast wasn't the greatest, a burrito that wasn't even a breakfast burrito.

While the service of the staff at this location was professional and polite, the hotel itself is pretty minimal in what it provides to guests. Being one of the closer properties to Universal Studios, it's pretty annoying that it costed nearly $300 USD to stay here for a night. This is especially true considering that there's only a tiny bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion and 2 body bars for toiletries. I've been to BW locations that were regular properties (not plus) that throw in a makeup remover wipe, a shower cap, or has more than a nickel's sized amount of cleaning products via a pump on the wall. The breakfast is hardly a breakfast, just a microwave has station burrito, basic fruit and a drink of your choice. Again, I've been to less expensive BWs that had a buffet that was still sanitized by the way of staff serving guests hot fresh food in a fast-food-order system kind of way. On top of that, I couldn't do work because the wifi isn't secure and even when you consent to getting internet, it doesn't load. This hotel is merely convenient in location. The staff are great, but not enough to offset such an underwhelming amount of amenities. I would recommend different arrangements if you were looking for something that made sense given the price.

Great location to stay for Universal Studios. This is a nice and quite area. Very Quick and easy drive to get to the theme park. The Very large and clean rooms are well appointed and have a refrigerator.

The area around the hotel is great. There is also a great selection of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel parking was adequate. The room was spacious. The water pressure from the sink and shower were very weak! The shower head was poorly placed.

This hotel offers everything a traveler could want. The place is exceptional and the staff couldn't be more attentive. When I am in the San Francisco area I love staying at this facility. A great value for your dollar and a comfortable place to stay!

We send our technicians all over Southern California and we use this particular hotel only once a year for a job close by it. This time our technician didn't have enough money on his personal card ($200) for incidentals and although the room was already paid for they refused to check him in. In the past they've allowed our company card to be processed with authorization but the rude guy Kevin who's not only rude but refused to give his last name (who knows if this is even his real name) just would not extend any flexibility "because everything changed since January 2019". Kudos to hotels.com for their help on refunding us the money we paid and we promise to NEVER USE THIS HOTEL again.

The staff are masking indoors. The owners do not. They consider themselves above all rules. They work the desk, ride the elevator, wander the halls, and enter guest rooms mask free. So if you want to stay in a place that doesn't care about your health, this one is a good bet.

This hotel is by far the best, Best Western close to the San Fernando valley, really clean and secure. The rooms are big and new. Parking lot its secure. Also great location close to Universal Studios.

Stayed here to go to the Warner Brother's tour but due to a certain virus issue the tour was cancelled, no biggie as it's an excuse to come back to what might become my favorite BW in California! I make every attempt to stay at one whenever I travel so I've seen a few. We had a king room (209) that looked out to an alley but if you looked to the left you saw the WB tower - pretty cool! We arrived in Burbank around 1230 and wasn't sure if the room would be ready yet - thankfully we got to check in and listened to the rain hitting the window. This room opens to the pop and ice machines so I was concerned for noise, only one rather loud male voice was all we heard...nice! For me I am all about a good shower, this was the only fail honestly. I'm 5'10” and the shower head hit me at my collarbone. I'm ok with that but I would have liked more pressure. There are plenty of places to eat, fairly priced for the location. There's Subway to Novo Cafe and Claimm Jumpers Down the road, so there's a good mix. They have parking underground that is terrific since parking is a premium in the area so you're all set to Uber or Lyft anywhere. All in all, great location and a good nights sleep. Thanks a lot BW!!!

Nice hotel becuse of how close to Warner Brothers Studios. We stayed here with friends and spent one day on Warner Brothers Tour and next day at Ellen. Easy walk to both from hotel. Nice free breakfast with both hot and cold options. No restaurant or bar on site but plenty of options in surrounding neighborhood. Rooms were nice except neither TV worked properly. Shower heads are a little low as I am 6'2" and it hit me mid chest.

Loved everything about this hotel it was clean spacious room i got the 2 queen beds they had a lot of variety of breakfast very delicious. Front desk employees were nice check it was fast check out was fast as well free parking free wifi free breakfast. The only problem i had was i called front desk from my hotel room and asked for more towels i never did receive them. Thats why i rated them 4 stars in the service. Either than that it was great.

No sink water pressure. Sink didn't drain. Hotel staff could really care less - if you can understand their broken English. They screwed up our reservations but wanted to blame us on top of everything else. Worst BestWestern experience ever. May just switch exclusively to HolidayInn - have yet to have a bad experience there yet.

Best Western Plus Media Center is in Burbank and walking distance to Warner Brothers Studios. It is also walking distance to at least 12 restaurants. Parking is safe and free. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The only down side was being on the second floor and listening to the lead footed guests on the third floor walk about day and night. I highly recommend asking for a third floor room to avoid this. Breakfast was very good the first day, scrambled eggs and sausage. It was repeated every day, but there was also a waffle maker, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. It was only about $12 to uber in to Hollywood to take celebrity tours and see the Walk of Fame and other sites. I highly recommend looking into staying in Burbank and the Best Western.

Booked this room for less than an hour before realizing we needed to cancel. (Same Day Reservation) Never stepped foot on this property. Called and spoke to the manager. I explained our situation and he absolutely did not care. Would not refund the stay. Terrible Management! It felt like the manager was enjoying our discomfort. Stay away!

Nice, clean, quiet hotel room in nice area to visit Universal Studios and surrounding area. So glad to have selected this hotel. Great value for the lovely accommodations. Parking on the premises was included along with a satisfying breakfast for the family. The hotel staff were exceptional.

My team flies into Burbank regularly for business meetings and typically stays at the Hotel Amarano, but it was under construction. While the Best Western is basic, it is brand new, so it's clean and the rooms are large. We also liked the free parking. The downside to this hotel, though, is the staff. The front desk manager is incredibly rude. We arrived around Noon and checked in early. At most hotels, they see if any rooms are available, or at least offer to store your bags at the bare minimum. We were given a lot of attitude that we were checking in early, despite the fact the hotel was clearly not full. We were also given attitude when we asked to store our bags and when we asked to use the lobby restroom (which required a key). The manager treated us like a nuisance, as is if we were doing something wrong, despite us being PAYING CUSTOMERS. Not sure if we'll be returning.

This was my first stay here, and I did not know what to expect from a Best Western "Plus." I was pleasantly surprised. I booked a small suite to give myself more room to spread out. The room was indeed spacious with a separate bedroom and living room, both with a large TV (the remote volume and channel changer did not seem to work on the living room TV). I appreciated that the room was very quiet at night, although I have read other reviews saying that rooms that front on Riverside Drive can be noisy from traffic. The air conditioning was very good, and quiet, which I appreciated. As might be expected from a Best Western, the rooms are no frills, yet everything I needed was there, and I slept very well. There is free parking in convenient underground garage that had very few cars in it when I was there. They have a small outdoor pool, although I did not use it (November). The only minus I can think of is that yes, the breakfast is included, but it is pretty minimal. I discovered the Red Maple Cafe across the street that serves a pleasant breakfast. Considering everything, I would stay here again.

Stayed here with my family ona Trip to universal studios hollywood. Was only about 2 miles from the park. A little pricey but maybe cause it was booked so last minute. Hotel is located in a nice quiet area. At check in i was recommended a nice restaurant walking distance from the hotel to celebrate my sons birthday. Around 2 am was awoken by loud noise coming from the hallway maybe a loud party/crowd but overall great stay and great breakfast options too!

Desk clerks great, room was very big & clean, A very nice hotel, great location restaurants within walking distance breakfast had a lot to choose from only problem with room is try not to be on the street side as it can get noisy at night with the cars

We stayed in this area for WB tour and Hollywood/LA visit. Very nicely located and close to a quiet strip where there are a few restaurants, cafes, etc. We ate at Bob's Big Boy first night there. Did Hollywood, Price is Right taping, and Griffith at night for photos. Next day, we walked to WB tour and enjoyed not having to find and pay for parking. Even though hotel is a bit expensive, it evens out when you consider parking fees everywhere and free breakfast. Staff at reception very friendly. No safe in room which was bizarre but we could store our passports and few items in safety deposit box at reception. We stored luggage on departure day when we visited WB. Everything easy peasy and actually liked our stay here. Was nice “hub” for our needs while visiting this area.

We stayed here as a family of four for three nights, it was the best hotels we stayed in during our trip to the U.S.A. We arrived at 4am with no booking and the night manager got us a room straight away and even offered to get us some milk for the kids. Room was newly refurbished with new carpet and lovely bathroom room with a bath. Beds were big and comfortable. Breakfast was included and had a great selection which was regularly replenished (set us up for the day) Parking was also included (it took about ten minutes to drive to universal car park). The laundry was the perfect and cost the least of all the laundries in all the hotels we have stayed in. The gym equipment was like brand new. We didn't have time to use the pool, it was small and not very deep, but adequate for a cool down after a day at Universal. Location was great no noise, lots of cafes and restaurants around and easy for us to drive ourselves to everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a rough stay for my family. We had to move rooms because the first room we were given had a mattress that was soaked in what smelled like urine. Dry, clean sheets had been put over the mattress, apparently to cover it up, so at first it just felt like the fitted sheet was damp. The employee at the front desk seemed reasonably confused, but then peeled the sheets back to discover the mattress pad was even more damp, and the mattress itself saturated and reeking once uncovered. We were moved to another room with a clogged sink, and then the elevator stopped working for the remainder of the weekend. The breakfast options were fine and the staff somewhat helpful, but overall an unacceptable experience.

We checked in to room 211 just to get bombarded by termites ambushing us in bed. The floor was wet too. They moved us to a different room. No bugs. The management is in denial that there is a problem although other employees said it was an out of service room. The new room was fine. Unfortunately the elevator was broken at departure time. I was then on the 3rd floor with my car 2 floors below the lobby. So 5 flights of stairs to get out. It was 4 weeks after my knee surgery, so this was almost impossible. The management was weirdly in denial of the whole situation. The stay was around $600 and I was hoping for more.

The hotel I found to very nice as a Best Western Diamond Member - I have stayed at many hotels in the area and avoided this one because of location but I was pleasantly surprised. I would stay here again as I had business in the area West Hollywood and Beverly Hills - Nice hotel, parking garage is a plus. Room clean-comfy bed, breakfast and coffee. I'd rate this hotel a good B

This place was less than my expectations. I think the hotel should do better during a slow reason No apology was given to me when I complained that the clerk woke me up after 11 pm regarding billing. Just to tell me I will charge you $20.

Booked this as thinking it was handy for Universal and Warners Bros studios. Location was great for Warners Bros but not so good for Universal, and there was nothing else in the area really. We ended up parking the car up and taking Ubers everywhere. Rooms were large and a good size for a family of 4. AC was noisy and had to be switched off for sleeping. Breakfast was poor, no service and cold sausages and eggs, no one cleaning up until the doors shut and someone would appear to tidy. Lemon cake was lovely though. Our room over looked the pool so could be noisy I felt this was way over priced for what we got though, stayed in much better places on our trip for far less. Free parking was a bonus for the location. But guess added onto the room rate.

Easy check in. Very friendly. Made sure to accomodate my family by putting us in rooms next to each other. Within walking distance to a few restuarants and salons. Only 10 minutes to Universal Studios. Pool is small but kids had a good time so all worked out.

I've seen pics on Trip Advisor before, and... the property looks quite a bit different when I arrive. This Best Western exceeds the photos. The rooms are spacious, and fairly stylish. I don't know the age of this hotel, but it either has been recently updated, or still looks new. The lobby is simple, but airy, with no questions about where you need to go. The staff is pleasant and helpful at check-in, and the housekeeping staff is swift, efficient and invisible--kudos. The rooms feature (most anyway) a sofa which I wasn't terrified to touch, and surprisingly comfortable, a small coffee table and a desk with reasonably comfy chair. The bed was really nice, with a choice of pillow firmness. The shower has a built in shelfette, to handle soap and shampoo (if you don't like real poo), which are designer toiletries, of course. Even the ice machine didn't make me think of gastrointestinal revenge if I dared to use a cube. I also really like the euro-style shades on the windows. They truly darken the room. Minor carps: The TV doesn't swivel enough to see well while at the desk, and the bathroom has a fixture-placement problem which I won't go into, but have seen at other Best Western properties. Two nice perks: A latte machine available during the free breakfast. I didn't have time to eat, but did grab a latte and espresso--which were as good as you would find at a convenience store, and brought no extra charge. Here is the best perk--parking IS FREAKING FREE! NO CHARGE! NADA! IN L.A., FREE PARKING! I hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend this property, simply because I don't want a mad rush of guests, who will make it tough for me to get a room in the future. In the interest of fairness though, this would be in the top TWO places I would stay in L.A., the decision based on proximity to business and friends. Oh yeah, and the parking IS FREE!

This place was horrible, employees were rude and the free breakfast was garbage. For the price they charged us, we could have stay at a much nicer place around the same area. I used to think best Western was a great place to stay till I visited this place, never coming back.

Family with 2 teenagers, room spacious, clean and tidy, cleaners did good job every day. Overall stay was ok. Free parking. Bad points: Bit out the way so be prepared to spend $20-25 a day on Uber's to get around (don't drive, best way) Shower was poor, no power. A/C was in wall type and very noisy, couldn't turn down to low cool so couldn't have on at night, too noisy. Breakfast was terrible, no staff around cleaning up. Serve to 9.30am but whatever is out at 9am does not get replenished. Hot food (sausages and egg) you be lucky after 9am. It was OK but would look hard for another place before booking again

Very comfortable hotel. Andrew and Nick at the front desk are amazing and remember their customers that stay year after year!! These two make the stay worthwhile. They always have a smile on their face. They are very helpful when it comes to local attractions and places to eat. The lobby is very attractive and clean. A nice place to sit and relax if need be. The rooms are very spacious. They are also very clean and comfortable. Air conditioner worked without an issue. Bathroom is a good size based on what you need it for. Housekeeping was amazing and very accommodating. My husband was ill during our stay and they went out of their way to make sure that he had what he needed and they were very quiet outside of our room during the day when he needed to rest. The free underground parking at the hotel is a huge bonus. There is always a place to park your vehicle without any issues. The hotel is located very close to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour (about a five minute walk) and only one and a half miles from Universal Studios Park and City Walk. It has become our "go to" hotel whenever we are in the Burbank area. It has a very "safe" feeling to it. There are quite a few restaurants you can walk to from the hotel - all within a five to ten minute walk. I highly recommend the Best Western Media Suites for your next stay in Burbank or Hollywood!!

I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The location is right next to the WB studios and well out of the way of all the Hollywood hustle and bustle. It has underground FREE parking and FREE internet. They also did not charge me a percentage fee for each night I stayed in the hotel. The breakfast was nice there were; waffles, muffins, eggs, sausage, an espresso machine, orange juice, yogurt, and much more. The only complaint I have is how easily noise can be heard in your room during the night.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. It really depends on the location of the rooms at this hotel and who you get at the front desk that makes or breaks the stay. When I arrived, the gentleman at the desk was less than pleasant. He was really short with the woman checking in who was ahead of me and He was short with me. This man had a very thick accent and there was definitely a communication issue. It was very difficult to understand him. I don't usually care about who checks me in, but if you run a hotel like this, you need to be able to have people who can communicate with the clients and not get offended when they can't understand you. We had the Oversized 2 Queen room. It had a Microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The Oversized 2 Queen rooms face the street on the Second Floor. The street can be noisy at times and the view is not like the rooms that face the mountains in the back. The last time I stayed here, I was on the third floor and it was quiet with a lovely view. I highly recommend asking where the room that you are booking is located. The nice thing about this hotel is that there are no hidden charges. Free Underground Parking and free continental breakfast is also included in your stay.

Spacious king size bed room with a tiny bathroom. Quiet. The hotel pool is small, photo on the website is deceptive. Free parking in on-site garage. Breakfast was standard and the choice average at best. We were the first to have breakfast, and when I opened the lid of the waffle iron, there was dough left on it. The biggest drawback and actually unacceptable were the dirty trash bins. Remnants of dried liquids stuck to the edge. Since the mechanism didn't work properly, I had to lift the lid, which disgusted me. There is room for improvement here. Price is on the higher end. Honestly I would have expected more for that price. However, the hotel is ideally located for visiting Warner Studios, and that was actually why I booked it, and would book again, if ever in the area. We walked 7 minutes to the Warner Studio Tour. We also walked to Smokehouse Restaurant. Bob's Big Boy Burger (classic 24 hour diner) is a 5 minute‘s walk away. I realized the Mexican Restaurant on the other side of the street had constant lines, so it appears to be a popular place. The best espresso coffee and most delicious pumpkin bread we had during our 3 weeks-trip was at Priscilla's Gourmet Coffee Tea & Gifts. 4150 W Riverside Drive, a 3 minute's walk away.

Stayed one week on business. Location is excellent and includes underground parking. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants in the evening and includes reasonable complimentary breakfast fare to start the day. Breakfast options included eggs, sausage links, DIY waffles, baked goods, yogurt, cereal, fruit and a nicely capable coffee maker (black, lattes, cappucinos and so on). There is a small refrigerator in the room that housed leftovers at least once, as well as a microwave to re-heat and small coffee maker (which we didn't use). Staff were friendly from front desk to cleaning team which kept our room in nice order. Noise level is not bad with the occasional loud car or hallway conversation. Using the room A/C kept intermittent loud noises at bay for the most part. TV set top box in our particular case was mounted behind the dresser, making remote function impossible unless standing by the TV pointing downward from above. Not a big deal for a business trip, but would be irritating if one expects to try to enjoy a few shows. Didn't get to enjoy the fitness center (has nice equipment), nor the pool on 2nd Floor (small pool for relaxing, not lap swimming). Shower head in our room was at a height of about 5' 4" with a bit lighter than desired water pressure (maybe a SoCal thing). Made showering slightly cumbersome for a 6' person. Don't know if it was unique to our room. Business center is a surprisingly small 6'x7' room with 2 computers and 1 printer. Virtually impossible to use if bringing your own laptop -- we had to sit in the lobby just outside the business center to have room to work (when not wanting to disturb sleeping companion). Overall a nice experience for us and would be a top choice for return travel to LA/Burbank whether for business or pleasure.

Very clean and comfortable room. Quiet, chill environment. Nice people at the desk. Breakfast with one of the best coffee machines ever. Awesome location near lovely coffee shops and such. I'm picky but this one worked for me.

The hotel is located in a good area convenient to everything in LA. Recently renovated lobby and rooms are welcoming and very clean. Most comfortable beds of any hotel we used. Staff was attentive and helpful during our stay, a total of three days, and made us feel at home there. We will definitely stay again.

We booked this hotel for its location. It is pretty close to Universal Studios, a quick ride by Uber/Lyft. The Universal Studio subway station is convenient to visit Hollywood and other parts of LA. It's proximity to the freeway makes it easy to get to this hotel. Clean room/bathroom. The room was big. Free underground parking. Breakfast was ok, seemed cheap for a $300/night hotel.

If you need a well functioning, clean, convenient, and affordable place to stay in Burbank near Warner Brothers, look no further. This is not the Best Western of days gone by. It's not the Ritz, but it is more than expected. It has a nice free breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffles, and yogurt. It is also very conveniently near several restaurants and other establishments. It's not an overly flashy or loud part of town either, and this was pleasant.

We shopped around for hotels close to Universal Studios and based on my AAA discount we decided to go with the Best Western Plus Media Center Inn and Suites. I booked a king bed online for my wife, 7-year old son, and I, but was bumped up to two queen beds upon arrival due to having 3-persons in the room. The cost was a bit high at $272 for a Best Western. The room was clean with a view of some HVAC units from our window. The pool was extremely small and chlorinated heavily. My son received a rash from the pool, and my eyes were burning just from standing next to the pool for ten minutes. Once I realized the problem we immediately went to the room and rinsed off, but not in time to avoid my son's skin rash. The front desk staff were friendly, and except for the pool and pricing, the hotel was acceptable.

We needed a place to stay for an event the next day. This was not a destination hotel. Hotel was fine, but nothing special. Other than a $260 price tag. Breakfast was included. Usual scrambled eggs and sausage. Couple cereal choices and a toaster. The espresso coffee machine was a nice touch. We arrived right before two large groups. Can't argue with hotel having a lot of guests, but they to plan better.

I expected more for the price paid. The location is great for access to the studios and St. Josephs Hospital with nearby nearby restaurants. Outside pool (no hot tub), single washer/dryer in laundry room, dated bathroom features with leaky shower head and very low water pressure.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now for spring break and both times were excellent. Definitely would recommend for larger families that need a suite. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Having a full continental breakfast is a plus with a large family. Definitely will not be disappointed with a stay here.

Many years ago we were BW fans, almost exclusively. Then we started staying at Hamptons, which were more updated, newer and offered good breakfast array, so we dropped BW hotels. The reason we stayed at this one was because it was within walking distance to Warner Bros Studios. We weren't expecting it to be nearly as good as it was! WOW! The lobby, and more importantly, our room, was completely updated, sleek, new, roomy, clean, etc. We were so happy here! Really liked the room. a lot. The only negative (and it wasn't a big deal) was the noise of trucks early in the morning and noise of traffic when window was open in evening because we were on the front of the hotel. If that is a concern to you, just ask for a room not on front of hotel. Bonus: The breakfast included Peet's coffee (of which we are fans, but never get it in hotels) and even lattes and cappuccinos. Also, the cafe on the right (practically next store to hotel, on corner) was very good and so convenient.. We will stay here again when we are visiting that area in the future.

I rarely get so happy about a chain hotel experience but this place was totally delightful! The room was large and very clean with two full queen beds (many places use a double bed and call it Queen sized). Some of the most hipster toiletries I've EVER seen that smelled great (I'd totally sneak some home if we'd stayed longer) and a great tv selection of channels. Extensive breakfast and easy parking just made it perfect Location was fantastic and we were able to walk to several restaurants, a grocery store, and studios. Given the level of amenities and location, the price was excellent. Wish we'd stayed here for our entire Los Angeles stay. Don't get the strawberry flavored waffles...those tasted strange. :)

Hotel lobby was in the middle of renovations, but check-in was still relatively quick. Free underground parking was wonderful and convenient with an elevator to move luggage from the car to our room easily. Really comfortable beds, and the room was SO QUIET! Price was average for the area, and it was close enough to Universal that it was cheaper to Uber than to drive over and park. Lots of restaurants in the area and it felt very safe for our little family. Front desk staff was VERY accomodating when had a small problem after we had checked out. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, nice room, modern styling. We stayed early Jan 2019 and had a King room. Hotel was mostly finished in remodel. Comfy bed, clean room and stylish. Large room with overall good layout but a little inconvenient that the closet was by the window and not near the bathroom or door. Only thing lacking-the bathroom could use a small shelf over toilet or a towel rack or two. Manager said that was coming soon. Bathroom was otherwise nice with good shower tub. Still some remodeling finishing going on in the lobby but not too disruptive. Breakfast was average at best. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as Warner Bros. Studio, all within easy walking distance. We had a great stay, would recommend.

The lobby is under re model. Price is too high for a basic hotel. I would expect more from a BW Plus. Breakfast was decent, had to re microwave the food. The middle eastern gentleman was very nice, he gave me toothpaste and a tooth brush! :D

I stayed at this hotel with a business associate in November. The room we shared was spacious, quiet, and clean. The hotel staff was friendly and available to answer questions or to assist in any way all times of day. The bonuses were: vey comfortable beds; walking distance to cafe's, restaurants, and shops (including Trader Joe's and attractions); free parking with elevator access to the hotel; a business center with a printer; Inexpensive laundry facilities, a small gym and free breakfast. The only minuses were: no weight bench or water cooler in the fitness room; and the wireless internet could have been faster and have had better password protection. (The last comment is NOT due to a negative incident. It is just an observation.) I will stay at this hotel the next time I am in Burbank.

One of the worst customer service..air condition did not work..no food in breakfast even @7.45 am ..manager seems like he dont care..location is only good part about the stay..they should refund my 36000 points ..it not wort even 10000 points ...its a disgrace for best western plus hotels

Hotel is close to many of area attractions. Found it clean and accomodating. Appreciated the breakfast included in my stay. Hotel was walkable to Warner Bros studio. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would stay there again.

Clean, modern rooms; located near lovely Toluca Lake residential area; within walking distance of all kinds of restaurants, coffee shops including 24 hour diner; only about a mile or so from Universal Studios/Universal City Walk (we walked there and back twice!)

We stayed at this hotel for three nights- first room door lock broken, second room had a foul sewer smell in the bathroom . Tried to use the small workout room, but the Air conditioner didn't cool the room properly. Location was good- but for the money spent we expected more. We have stayed at other best westerns in other states and have been satisfied previously.

Updated and spotless, this hotel is located within walking distance of Warner Bros and offers free, underground parking, which is a huge bonus. Other amenities include free WiFi and a well-stocked complimentary breakfast of cereals, pastries, eggs, sausage, waffles, fruits, yogurt and various beverages. The stylish, freshly renovated rooms are newly carpeted and impeccably kept with a two-night supply of towels, organic Pharmacopia toiletries, a mini fridge and single-cup coffee maker. And for those inclined to channel surf, the hotel's DirectTV package offers an extensive lineup. The only downside for some families might be the small pool. But during our stay, all of the kids seemed much more interested in the Harry Potter attraction at Universal. Considering the cleanliness, location (quiet neighborhood, steps from Warner Bros., super quick drive to Universal Studios) and amenities, this hotel is a great value and will definitely be our choice on every return visit. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night and have stayed here in the past. The hotel has recently been renovated and everything was clean and attractive. Free wifi, free parking (underground) and free breakfast - there is really nothing to complain about. None of the nicer hotels in the area are cheap and many hotels charge significantly for parking. Some even have a "resort" fee. If you plan to be in the Universal City/Burbank/Hollywood area, I would recommend you look at this hotel. When you factor in the costs of wifi, parking and breakfast at other places, it's really not bad. Also, unlike some hotels (especially in the Hollywood area), this hotel is in a very nice location with several restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel was recently updated for a very modern look. The location is very convenient to Universal Studios in a quiet, safe neighborhood. With parking and breakfast included, this is a great value for the area.

Stayed August 6-10, 2018 Newly refurbished hotel. Rooms were very nice and beds have new mattress that are very comfortable. Free underground parking, Nice free breakfast. Fridge and microwave in room. Walking distance to Warner Brothers and several nice places to eat. 10 minute drive to Universal Studios, 10 minute drive to Hollywood Hills, 15 minute drive to Hollywood Walk of Fame, 25 minutes to Santa Monica Pier, and about 50 minutes to LAX (just to name a few points of interest). I have stayed here several times and really enjoy the location and convenience to so many attractions. It is near everything L.A., but a nice quiet oasis from the hustle and bustle of all those same tourist attractions. Not the cheapest place in the area, but not the most expensive either. Decent price for the area when you factor in free parking and breakfast. Room for improvement- Hotel front desk staff are not overall customer service oriented. Not rude, but just seem to be doing the minimum expected for their job. The rooms need to be stocked with more bath towels. Two towels provided for three guests. Also, ran out of bathroom tissue at one point, and front desk forgot to bring more up. Staff need to make sure the bathrooms are stocked properly. Slow elevator. Despite these issues, it is a quality place especially now that it has been refurbished. Definitely would recommend to others.

It is a very good hotel , but I think they have issues with the staff at the time of offering customer service is look not any one there care about to offer good customer service to their guest but other than that it is a very good hotel , the room I been was really pretty and clean and big room.

Stayed here 4 nights 7/28 - 7/31/18. The good: small, relatively quiet hotel with free underground parking and very close and convenient to Universal Studios (note: uber cheaper and easier than parking there). Completely refurnished rooms. The bad: completely refurnished rooms! Temporary issues: the underground parking was loaded with old mattresses, piles of carpet and desks and lamps. Our room numbers and artwork were stacked in the hallway. A bit more inconvenient was the room reeked of new carpet smell and the towel bars were not yet installed in the tiny bathroom, no place to hang towels :( The ugly: the appearances of being understaffed and disorganized... there was no one in the tiny rooftop pool in the morning but still the garbage can overflowed there. We had to take a stairway covered in drop cloths and painting equipment everywhere (but no one working). EVERY morning the undersized breakfast area garbage overflowed and there was only one can. Our (not updated) showerhead leaked badly spraying the wall and ceiling but they were unable to get anyone to fix or replace it before we left. We had to ask for more towels as we had three occupants (but sadly nowhere to put towels... management missed an opportunity here to install vanities with shelves and bars.). There were three old voicemails left on our phone from the previous occupants. We appreciate energy conservation but have never stayed at a place that turns the AC completely OFF each day, so we'd return to a hot stuffy room. (We started leaving notes asking them to leave it on, that worked.). Not a cheap date here or anywhere in SOCal... BW you can do better.

I stayed here in July with family. We had a room with 2 queen beds, a chair with ottoman and a desk. There was also a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. This hotel is perfectly located in a very quiet part of town. Parking is in an underground garage with both stairs and an elevator. There are a handful of great places to eat within a few minutes walk. If you stay, be sure and have a coffee and pastry (almond croissant - yum) at Lou, the French on the Block, which on the opposite side of the street from the hotel. Olive and Thyme is delicious as well. All of the nearby restaurants we tried were excellent. The hotel is within a 40 minute drive of many LA attractions. It's 10 min to Universal Studios, 30 min to the La Brea Tar Pits, 15 min to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 35 min to Santa Monica Pier. It's just an all around great location if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. There was very little traffic as it is a business area with tall buildings and some apartments. So, walking, crossing streets and getting around was stress free for us. The only real downside is the pool, which is very tiny and only 4 feet deep. So if you have kids who love to swim and want to make that a significant part of your vacation experience, this is probably not the place for you. Breakfast was included in our stay and was typical of all the Best Western breakfasts I've had. Waffles, Eggs, Bread, Yogurt, etc. We experienced one problem while we were there. The building's electricity went off and on throughout our first night. It was a terribly hot night and the room became sweltering and uncomfortable. We found out the next morning that a part had worn out and needed replacing, which the owner took care of that day. He also more than made up for the discomfort by comping us the first night. All in all, we felt well cared for. This hotel will be our go to place in the area from now on.

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights in late July 2018; the hotel is mid-renovation and it will be a nice makeover when it's completed... but for now, it was a mess. Our room was on the first floor next to the breakfast room, and the AC was extremely loud and sounded like a water fountain. When we asked for a different room due to the AC noise, they sent someone to "take a look" but we were told they couldn't fix it, and there were no other available rooms. For the price we were paying, this made us very upset. On the plus side: The pool, located on the 2nd floor, is small but adequate. Breakfast was well presented and there were good food choices.There are restaurants within walking distance and underground parking.

There was no power all night, it was really hot ac not working, my baby's milk spoiled, it was terrible they didn't seem to worry about the situation, for the price they charge the least they could've done was offer a discount,

Nice overnight spot. It is in close walking distance to the Al's Big Boy. The hotel was torn apart for refacing and new wallpaper. Service was good pleasant staff and nice spread for complementary breakfast.

The service we received from the staff was the best - even compared to a luxury hotel. The staff was responsive, quick and friendly. The room (king bed) was large and comfortable to work in. Loved the location as one who is from the east and prefers to be able to walk to restaurants, etc. Great part of town - just around the corner from Warner Brothers Studio. Lovely residential neighborhood.

The hotel is nice - good location. We found the staff to be fairly OK, but not very helpful. We did find the room very comfortable with appropriate amenities. The location is very good. The breakfast is adequate. They do have underground parking and was good. Eventually, it will need a little upgrading (carpets, paint). Would stay again because of the location.

Updated rooms and good location, but our first room was dirty. Housecleaning came and cleaned the bathroom floor and then used the same rag to clean the countertops. Also had an attitude like we shouldn't even have worried about the dust and hair.

Having stayed in various hotels in the area, we were very happy with the Best Western Plus in Burbank, CA. A full breakfast is included in the daily rate as well as free parking. It was a very relaxed stay and the front desk service, breakfast room attendant and housekeeping staff were great.

A very nice room, with free breakfast and free parking. Comfortable beds and a very nice shower. Breakfast was amazingly better tasting than the typical free hotel breakfast. The scrambled eggs and sausage were quite good, and there was a variety of other items available. Hotel was 8 minutes from Universal Studios on surface streets.

Didn't realize it was All Star weekend when we booked the hotel. Only about 10-15mins from Burbank airport and the same for Universal Studios. Cheap uber/lyft ride to Hollywood Blvd too. Clean rooms customer service is good, breakfast is free(I'd give it a 5 out of 10). But overall great place to stay when in town.

The room was big, nice and clean, but for a Best Western Plus, I expected a Keurig coffee maker in our room, all we got was a little one cup coffee maker, very disappointed. There was two of us and we only received 1 little bottle of shampoo, conditioner and lotion, not enough for two people.

Stayed at the media center hotel for 2 nights while visiting universal studios. It was just 2 miles from the hotel and very convenient. Wished there was hotel shuttle available, but, ah well!! Good hot breakfast and great service. Loved their hot chocolate :)

the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The overall condition of the hotel was clean but very dated interior. The breakfast was ok at best. We had a room facing the main street it kind of noisy. If I was to stay in Burbank again this hotel would not be one of my first choice.

We had to find a hotel as we were evacuated due to fires near our homes. This hotel was very nice, finding a room for us and not price gouging. Other hotels in the area charge for parking and since we did not know how long we would be staying, this was important. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection, the internet was free and the room was very nice. There are several places to eat within walking distance. We would stay here again.

The Best Western Plus Media Center Inn & Suites is located so close to so much that you really need two to three weeks to see everything. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are so comfortable. After a long day of sight seeing, it is nice to come back to my "home away from home" and know that I will have a nice relaxing nights sleep in a comfortable bed. This Best Western is location across the street from the Warner Brothers Studio and only just under 2 miles from Universal Studios. You can also call this place home if you are visiting Disneyland for a day. All of the greatest Hollywood attractions are within a few miles of this location. The rooms are always immaculate and very large. There is a sitting area in most of the rooms and a microwave and refrigerator. The front desk employees always go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and have everything that you need. There are many restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. The free parking is a true bonus. It is nice to know that you will have somewhere to put your vehicle when you are finished sightseeing. I highly recommend this location to anyone that will be in the Burbank area sightseeing or on business!!!

All employees are helpful and courteous, Beds are the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel, underground parking is free and secure, breakfast is above "continental" with made to order fresh waffles and eggs/sausage. Great coffee machine for variety of coffee drinks

I suppose the hotel was decent for the area. I'm basing my experience and review on the fact that I used my points for a free night. My room cost approximately 35,000 points, and I've stayed in much better hotels for the equivalent and somewhat better for less. I did not like that we requested a late checkout and were given 30 extra minutes. I was also disappointed by the fact that there is no coffee or tea available throughout the day in the lobby. Last, my boyfriend and I were disturbed by what sounded like furniture being built in adjacent/nearby rooms. The noise that we suspect must have been hammering was so loud that we thought someone was knocking at the door. It lasted for about an hour the morning we checked out.

Hotel is spotless! The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to help. The breakfast is really good and parking is free and convenient. The rooms are a little outdated, but very clean and the bed is very comfortable! The area is very quiet and safe and only about a block away from Warner Brothers Studio?? I would recommend this hotel to families, couples.

Good location hotel in need of a lot of work to replace wore and damaged materials. The hotel doesn't need to be gold plated but holes in sheets and drapes and torn wall paper does not present well and leads one to question the quality of the hotel. The sheets slept very hot and felt heavy and synthetic.

Stayed here for a few days as a birthday getaway. Rooms are nice. The continental breakfast was okay. A couple food places in walking distance. Universal Studios is a quick uber/lyft ride away. Enjoyed the stay would stay here again in the future. I usually have good experiences with Best Westerns.

If you are here for a short stay and want a large, clean room with comfy bed, this is the place. The shower stall in my room was very short -- I fit but my husband would not have. Super close to Universal Studios, and the corporate offices for Disney, Warner Brothers and NBC. A great place for business travelers. Awesome food in walking distance and FedEx office 1 block away. Cons: anyone can get into the hotel via the garage which does not have a gate, just take the elevator up to any floor, no keycard needed. That made me a bit nervous. Pros: free hot breakfast (very simple but eggs and sausage, oatmeal and waffles, plus yogurt, toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs and juice and coffee). Convenient location. Large rooms.

Just 5 minutes pleasant walk from the Warner Brother Studio tour, this hotel is located in a lovely street with a great choice of restaurants. The is also ready access to Universal Studios by either bus 155 for $1.75 per person or $7.00 approx using uber. Once at Universal you can use the LA metro for just $7.00 per day and get to most places in LA. This was a third visit and in my opinion the most laid back location. We have stayed in central Hollywood and Anaheim and this felt the safest location to walk around in the evening. As long as you are happy to use the metro to get around during the day, there is no downside to this location. If you have not stayed in LA, it is sprawling and choice of location for your hotel is important. Also driving around is confusing and can be very slow as the roads are very busy.

Quiet possibly the worst experience at a hotel and we didn't even make inside a room, when we got there the guy at the front desk told us that "somehow" our reservations were cancelled and offered no explanation or solution to our problem that was caused by them, he quickly became frustrated because we demanded he correct the situation, he just kept telling us to speak to the manager tomorrow !!! He got so angry in his melt down, he tried to kick us out of the lobby, he even CALLED THE POLICE ON US !! Lying to them he said we where blocking other guests from leaving the hotel, I swear I almost heard him start to cry on the phone, while we where just standing there watching this "man" loose his mind in front of our eyes. I waited for the police to arrive and told them our side of the story, unfortunately pathetic customer service is not a crime.

Had everything that I was looking for: FREE parking, FREE Wi-Fi, FREE continental breakfast and a pool. Even though we did not have an opportunity to use the pool the hotel was easy to find right off the freeway, near several eating establishments within walking distance AND only 10 minutes from Universal Studios. Definitely coming back!

This was a pretty nice, clean and quiet hotel. Staff was great in helping us with or needs. For us it was nearby many of the places we wanted to go especially universal studios down the street and Bob's Big Boy which was a block away. I recommend this place.

We wanted to be at walking distance from Warner studios and this was perfect location. The hotel is clean and functional, nearby are several nice restaurants and the universal studios and Hollywood is a short drive. We drove to all sites and museums, traffic was fluid and it was very easy to find parking slots. So we were very happy with the hotel and the service offered.

great location, bed, breakfast & friendly staff. Would have liked it to be about $50 cheaper since it was a Tuesday stay rather than a weekend stay. I liked that they did not charge extra for parking. I HATE when hotels do that. Especially if you are a member of their hotel club. The breakfast was a FULL choice of breakfast foods instead of just toast, coffee & juice.

The hotel is in a convenient location. It is close to the freeway, several restaurants, and Warner Brothers Studio. They are in the process of doing some remodeling. Fortunately, our room was clean and quiet. The pool is quite small and the water was very cold. They could do guests a favor by replacing all the towels. It took about 4 or 5 pool towels per person to dry off and a few of our bathroom towels had holes in them.

Best hotel breakfast we ever had! Easy in&out parking under hotel. Staff was friendly,and room was clean. The location was just a few minutes drive to many attractions. The surrounding area felt safe. Walking distance to many of the restaurants and Warner Brothers studios. We didn't get to a taping of any shows, but they would be something to do as well.

Close to warner brothers studio and universal.Free underground parking.First floor with room in back was very quiet. Enjoyed waffles for breakfast and a lot of great restaurants to walk to. First floor was a lot cooler during the 106 heat wave.

Stayed here for a week to visit a friend and go to studios. We had a room on the first floor in the back. Large beautiful room with king bed , couch and chair. Very quiet. Best waffles had at any Best Western I have been at. Loved the mini waffle maker. Just no dedicated breakfast worker. Front desk had to handle, which meant not restocking of items. Small pool, but refreshing. Gate lock didn't work, hotel had to leave it unlatched, so could get in. With temps in 100's couldn't use pool much since it didn't have much shade. So many restaurants near by to walk to. Can walk to Warner Brother's studio and a 10-15 minute drive(depending on traffic) to Universal. Plenty of underground free parking which was great. Close to Ventura freeway entrance. Felt safe walking in evening down to Starbucks or Bob's Big Boy. Finally a bathroom that doesn't have the door hitting the toilet, just shower head low, if was any taller would have been a problem. Closet was small, but never used, liked that they had 2 luggage racks. Mini fridge was large, but uneven cooling, some items froze in different areas.

Termites were found in my room which I could of taken home and infested my home. No compensation was offered for instance a comped room for a night or two.i will probably not recommend family or friends to stay her

It was a great stay at this hotel. We went to universal studios and chose this hotel, it was great and only 8-10 minute drive to the studios. I'd recommend this hotel. Breakfast and parking are included in the price. Overall a great hotel.

Looking for a place nearby Universal Studios, Good Parking, quiet, clean, Only one small note, The Breakfast was crowded and poor.....Only the coffee was great.. Convenient gym and common laundry. I'll stay again.,when my next movie reach out to Hollywood.

Our stay was fine -- big, clean room -- but the decor is a bit dark, tacky and outdated. The pool is tiny and there is no hot tub, which was disappointing. The breakfast room is small and crowded, but the food is okay. The overall feel of the hotel is a little depressing. A facelift in the lobby and common areas (including the elevator and stairwells) would make it so much nicer.

good BW + hotel with free parking (rare in LA) and at 10 minutes at max from Univerdsal studios. Few restaurants in the area (some are closed on Sunday but still you cab eat without taking you car again). Room was on the back street on 3rd floor very quiet. Free Wifi working OK, beds are OK, airco a bit Noisy as usual. Breakfast in standard what you can expect in a Best Western. We missed the bacon in all of them (we visited 7 in total).

The location can not be beat if going to Universal Studios or some place like that. As far as the amenities, it depends on the purpose of your trip. Again, if to go to Universal Studios and stay there for 2-4 days...this would be a perfect location to stay. For business, just do not bring the person you are doing business with to your hotel. There is really no place to meet with them there and I was told a suite was sold out and not available.

5 minutes away from Universal Studios which was great! 15 minutes from the Burbank airport and about 25 minutes from Sunset Boulevard. So overall a good location for a family holidaying. The room had 2 double beds and a decent size bathroom. The first day they forgot to clean our room so it was not a nice feeling coming back after a long tiring day out. I had to ask for fresh towels which they gave. When we checked in, the grumpy receptionist could not find our booking for some reason so he made a new one but the rate was much higher. So we had to call Booking,com to inquire and next day they told us that the initial rate would be given to us. Breakfast was very basic. Few restaurants nearby and walking distance.

Close to Universal studios, convenient after a full day at Universal Studios. Close in, easy to get to, comfortable hotel and good rates. Lots of room for the entire family include children, enjoyed the amenities and check in/check out process.

The location is very good if you plan a trip to universal studios. The staff is helpful and always willing to help. The breakfast is great for all family members. The rooms are clean and our family room was big and clean.

My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here during a short getaway. It was clean and nice. They forgot to leave soap in our room so we had to ask for it and go to the front desk to get it. The pool was teeny tiny. We did not use it. It is VERY close to Warner Brother's Studios and quite close to Universal Studios. There is free breakfast which included make-your-own waffles, various breads, coffee and cocoa, eggs and sausage and bacon. Also, cereals and fruit. Not bad. We only ate their breakfast once and grabbed it to go. All in all it was a decent facility.

We always enjoy staying at the Best Western Media Center because of its great location near freeways and attractions such as Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Studios. Free underground parking, free WiFi, and free breakfast are terrific perks. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is friendly. We love walking to neighborhood restaurants and cafes. It's a great value for the money.

We stayed at this Best Western as a family of 7 for 5 nights in July, with 2 room reservations, a standard room and a suite. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Every single member of staff was polite, courteous and helpful. Our rooms were incredibly quiet, and the complementary breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. We were able to walk to Warner Brothers and took a 7 minute drive to Universal Studios. It was the perfect base for our family and we will absolutely return!

Used this hotel as a base for a 3 day trip to universal and downtown LA. It is a mid priced BW property located about 1.5 miles from universal in a primarily residential area. Location to local restaurants is excellent as is the free parking, great breakfast and free wi-fi. The staff, especially the guy on the night shift front desk were extremely helpful and full of local knowledge which made our stay even better.

Compared to other beat westerns I've stayed at this is the best one the room was perfect the staff were very friendly at check in and the breakfast was awesome, so many options. I expected a free breakfast would consist of stale donuts but the variety they gave shocked me. It was close to everything we did, universal studios, wb studios etc. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was within walking distance to Warner Bros. We had a studio tour and walked to the tour. Parking at this hotel is covered and free. The breakfast was really good. Staff was very nice and rooms were clean.

After a sub-par visit last year, the BW+ Media Center still seemed to be the best option to visit Universal Studios based on location, price, and breakfast & parking included. I'm happy that we gave it another shot; had a very nice 2nd visit. After explaining to the check-in guy our experience last year, he put us in a quieter location. The breakfast was great with waffles, yogurt, hard-boiled & scrambled eggs, pastries, bread options, sausage, cereal, & juices. Both of our rooms were spacious with a large bathroom with tub/shower, microwave & refrigerator. We were very happy to find a great dinner restaurant, Novo, next door with lots of family-friendly options and did take-out for our family BOTH nights; highly recommended. I would love to come back to BW+ Media again.

We stayed in a double room suite. It had 2 bedrooms, 3 beds and a couch that opened up to a bed. One bathroom. There was 7 people in our party and it was only a 5 minute drive to Universal Studios. Very comfortable but the pool area was very small. Continental breakfast was pretty decent. Perfect for a larger family who just needs a clean, comfortable place to crash and will be out and about most of the day.

We booked our room at $300 a night for our family of 4. We arrived and we were told the pull out bed we requested was not possible- they never offer that at the hotel. When we entered our room, it was missing some furniture and had no pillows or comforters for the kids bed. When we called to request the pillows and bedding, we were told they could not provide them even though we had paid for a room for 4 people. They could change our room for a $150 upgrade fee, but would not provide enough pillows or bedding for us. I asked to talk to a manager and was told I could not. The front desk would not even call him - he said that we would have to wait for him to arrive tomorrow to see if anything could be done, but we could get no pillows. He said he was done arguing with me and hung up. Nothing done for us. We would never stay here again. It is revolting. I will try to get our money back but would warn anyone against staying in this hotel.

Everything worked out great. Good (free) parking, friendly service, very clean. Above average WB hotel. Location is good for WB Studio and Universal Studio visits. One block from the original Big Boys Restaurant.

We booked this Best Western hotel based on proximity to Universal Studios and it's Trip Advisor rating. This was the cleanest, most up to date Best Western I have had the pleasure to stay in. It seemed quite new and staff were very accommodating. This was located in a nice neighborhood rather than in a busy commercial area. There were great restaurants less than a block away. I would chose to stay here again.

Convenient location for us since our granddaughter lives around the corner. When we're in town we always stay at the Burbank Best Western. It is a clean hotel and the rooms are clean. The bed was not comfortable and it probably needs to be replaced. The breakfast is good and we noticed the breakfast room has been remolded. I was surprised that the attendant scolded me for overfilling the waffle machine. Other than that, this BW fits our needs.

Convenient and a great stay. Helpful staff, underground parking, perfect internet speed, comfy and neat room. It is all what you need for a decent overnight stay in California. You might find a cheaper hotel in the vicinity, but definitely won't find a better value for money. Location is perfect, a walking distance form WB Studios and couple of miles from the universal studios.

We always stay here when we are in the L.A. area. Centrally located to the freeways and Hollywood etc. You will not be disappointed. The owner and staff are always professional and accommodating to their guests.

We stayed here for a visit to Universal Studios. Only a few minute drive to the park. Our room was spacious, quiet and very clean. Nice area around the hotel. We would definitely stay there again. The Mexican restaurant across the street was a bit pricey, but the Pizza place a block over was very good and reasonable. Very good included breakfast.

If you plan to go Universal studio and hollywood boulevard , it's very good location. But the behavior of the employees in frony offfice is very rude. I struggled for 2 days to get my orders for hotel address. The rooms are large and clean but very dark. Breakfast is free and good.

The room and everything else was fine but I had just arrived and was in a bit of a terrifying situation monetarily (lack of funds and information given to me). The hotel informed me that the internet was down, AFTER I had already booked into the room, and was told that there was also no way to phone long distance. I do not own a cell phone, so was unable to tell my job nor my loved ones of the situation and that i was safe.

They made our stay easy. And they were helpful with our touristy things, good things to do close by, close to airport and universal studios,. walking distance to Warner Brothers studio..I would recommend this hotel for most anyone. Parking was easy and secured being under hotel

I'll cut to the chase, the room is expensive, but you're in a GREAT area, and parking is free and that's about where the good part ends. The concierge was not polite at all, they didn't acknowledge me, they just asked for my name and credit card. The ONLY time I seen someone behind that desk was at check in, after that there was never ever anyone there. EVER!!! The worst part is THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF- which is fine, at least it works- the WORST part is, it just went off, and no one called to say it was an accident, or come to our room to reassure there was NO emergency, instead my whole family panicked the entire time, and when we woke up in the morning, our room smelled of smoke. I guess an employee burned breakfast she was making...but it was one of the scariest experiences of my life, and if you have ever been woken up to a fire alarm!!!! GEEZ the worst way to wake up...Really horrible for how much i spent.

The hotel was quiet. The amenities were from Bath and Body Works. Within walking distance of Warner Brother Studio Tour. The prices seemed very high for what you got. The pool was tiny and unheated. The pool area needed a good cleaning. The room was showing wear, from the very thin sheets,(needed replacing because of to much wear) to the frost covered fridge, broken marble counter and slightly grungy carpets. The tub/shower were set up for people under 5 feet tall. Slippery as well. Hallway carpets could use at good cleaning. The breakfast was standard Best Western. I wish they had water available. Some people don't drink coffee or overly sweet fruit juice. The Fire Alarm going off at 6:30 am was not pleasant. Thank goodness it went shut off quickly. They didn't overcharge you at the vending machines for beverages and that is all they offered. Taxi's ran about $10 to get to Universal Studios. Which was cheaper then parking there. We stayed at the Crown Plaza in Seattle for cheaper then this Best Western. Location, I guess is what you paid for. Best little Pasta place next door. Homemade pasta and baked goods Yum!

Good location, short drive to Universal, LA Zoo, and can walk to Warner Brothers (count on more than the 5 minutes others will tell you though, because of waiting for lights/ crosswalks). The Hotel staff that we interacted with were nice, breakfast was standard hotel continental (waffle maker, cereal, toast, muffins, etc). Under hotel parking (free, can come and go as you please) had plenty of spaces, but we were there Sun-Thurs, in the Fall. A little noise, but not the hotel's fault. Had a noisy family next door one night, and people who walked like elephants on the next floor the other nights. Room did not have a clock, which was a surprise. Most do nowadays. If you want a view, ask for a 2nd or 3rd story room. Our view was a brick privacy wall on the first floor. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to/from Universal Studios. Plenty of small restaurants/ quick serve places within an easy walking distance. Beds/ pillows were comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is close to everything, walking distance. The front desk seemed to be short staffed but was friendly & helpful. Our room was a 2 room suite & it had plenty of space. Big living area, table & chairs, kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is pretty close to Universal and Hollywood, which is why we chose it. Traffic getting to both of those places makes the hotel seem much further away though, so keep that in mind when booking. The room is decently sized, but the decor is very dated. Carpet is bubbling and needs to be replaced for sure. Shower head is so low than I had to duck to wash my hair (and I'm only 5'8"). Also pretty low water pressure. Was told there are no extra blankets at all when I asked because my wife was breaking out (we thought it could be something with the bedding). Staff weren't even concerned or anything other than saying no. The breakfast isn't anything special, and the breakfast area definitely needs more seating. Overall, this isn't somewhere we'd come back to in the future at all.

Our room was nice, good size, comfortable beds. Not enough pillows or towels - we were told "No" none extra they could bring us (seriously?). Had a table and two chairs, good size for our board game, but since there was 4 of us, we also used the desk chair, and then asked to borrow another chair for our room - we were told "No" that there were not any other chairs in the whole hotel (although the breakfast room had dozens!). Asked at breakfast (very minimal items for a light breakfast) for water - were told "No" there is not any except from the bathroom faucet that we could have. Two icemakers in the hotel were broken. I just expected that paying over $250 per night, that the place would be a little better put together, and that the paying customers would not so often get "No" for an answer. Chosen for it's location, but I think I'll look a little further away next time we're in the area.

LA is huge, so we decided to stay here because it is close to the Warner Brothers Studios as we wanted to go there. The hotel is ideally situated for that, only a 5-10 minute walk to the tour location. It is also very well located for Universial too. The hotel is set in a pleasant surbudan street with a range of restaurants within one block. The hotel itself is good, free underground parking, a decent hot free breakfast and free wifi with good speed. The room was huge with both a king bed and seating area with two sofas. The bathroom was good and large, a great range of cable TV, no complaints about the room at all. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

We stayed for 3 nights. 10 minutes drive to universal studios, plenty of places to eat around the hotel and walking distance to Warner Bros studios. Basic breakfast,nothing special but adequate. Staff friendly, room is good size and it's quiet. Will stay here again.

Had a very nice stay at the Best Western. It was very convenient for the Warner Brothers Studio Tour. I also felt it was in a safe location. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Underground parking was nice and easy.

This was the closest hotel to the New York Film Academy. Everything was in walking distance. Nice hotel, clean room, clean hotel, friendly staff. Even took pictures for us, of our family and our relatives that welcomed us. We would stay there again. It was a little expensive in comparison to Holiday Inn. But it is in the heart of the film industry, where everything is more expensive.

I have stayed at the BW Burbank several times. It is a clean quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Close to Universal Studios and easy to get to. I will stay again. Don't accidentally leave anything in the room - you might not get it back.

The location was great, walking distance to some good restaurants. Freeway was only about 1/4 mile from the hotel so easy access there. About 20 minutes to Dodger Stadium. Clean hotel, plenty of underground parking. Prices were a bit high for the rooms but overall experience was good!

It's a nice little hotel.The rooms were good. We liked it better as the rooms given to us were attached and both the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms were also up to standards. It is a ten minutes drive to Universal studios and few minutes drive to Burbank town centre. All in all it was a nice place.

The hotel is more modern than other close-in to WB tour hotels. It has indoor entrances to the rooms, for starters. Many room configurations from which to choose. The breakfast bar is quite nice with a variety of choices. The staff is warm and friendly.

Highly recommended!! We had connecting rooms - one with 2 queens, the other 1 king. The night staff guy- 7 pm to 7 am was very efficient, friendly, informative. The rooms were clean, good shape, maid service great! Very quiet. Easy to control room temp.

Really convenient to WB Tour and Universal. The property is easy to find and very importantly has loads of free parking. The hotel is priced to compare with other hotels in the area but if budget is a concern then shift over to Glendale where the price per night drops about $50 across most hotels. The rooms are spacious and clean with usual BW facilities including microwave and fridge. A VONS is 3 minutes away by car so you can get a convenience meal and nuke it in your room. There are plenty of fast food places to eat (a subway next door) or other sit down restaurants offering a range of cuisines. There is a tiny pool to cool down after a day at the parks. Walking to WB is about 9 minutes at a casual pace and is literally down the road (about 4 blocks). Breakfast is included consisting of make-it-yourself waffles, scrambled egg, sausage, mini Danish pastries, yoghurt and other usual BW breakfast offerings. Not the hugest selection but certainly will kickstart your day nicely. The only downside is that there is only one lift servicing all floors including the double parade built under the hotel. and it is slow during peak times. The stairs are built away from the lift so not convenient to use. The manager on duty, Andrew was very pleasant and helpful in getting to know the local area. Finally there is a small guest laundry (1 drier and 1 washing machine). Four quarters will operate each and are large enough to do laundry for the whole family. Soap powder is available from reception also for $1. Great stay and would easily recommend.

Burbank is a good spot in northern LA if you want to go to Universal. It is only 5 miles away, same distance from the hotel to Hollywood bd. Our room for 4 - parents with 2 kids was very clean and large. The breakfast quite ok compared to the 3 other Inns we experienced in California this year. 2 things we didn't like about this hotel: beds are too soft and AC too noisy. Otherwise, a good hotel.

It was a very nice hotel and very convenient for Universal Park. I thought it a bit pricey but it was comparable to other hotels in the area. Breakfast food was okay nothing great. Standard breakfast food for all hotels.

Very convenient for universal studios. Easy drive to knots berry and Disney as well. Would definately stay again, pricey but guess that's the area. Great hotel near to everything without feeling like everyone's on top of you. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at this hotel for our trip to Universal Studios. While the rooms need updating, the beds were extremely comfortable and it was spacious. The a/c however does need to be worked on. It worked very well but was extremely noisy and would wake us up during the night. The pool is also really small, I was expecting a bigger pool given the area. There are several small neighborhood restaurants nearby which is nice and the breakfast in the morning was good, there were a lot of options for a "free" breakfast. Overall this hotel satisfied our needs for the stay.

Stayed 3 nights on a mid-July trip to LA and Universal Studios. Hotel is a short drive from Burbank Airport (I think the walk to the rental car at the airport was longer than the drive to the hotel). Property is located near a couple of freeways and on a commercial street with several restaurants walking distance or a very short drive (or longer'ish walk). The hotel itself seemed well maintained (though just a little dated when it came to carpet and wallpaper – BUT that did not have any bearing on our stay. There is 2 levels of complimentary parking, a small swimming pool (did not use), exercise room (did not see), and a breakfast room. All the public areas appeared to be neat and tidy. Even though hotel is near freeways and a semi busy road (during the week), the hotel inside and out was very quiet – we were not disturbed by noises from the street or the hall/other rooms. The suite was a king bed room with a sitting area (chair/sofa/desk/couple of tables), a small kitchenette (microwave and a good sized compact fridge) with a single cup coffee/hot water brewer and a huge 42 inch television that can be swiveled to watch either in the sitting area or from the bed. The bathroom was roomy with full size tub and large sink/vanity area. There was a closet that was on the smallish side, but was sufficient for our short stay. Room also had an iron and ironing board as well as a “very good at cooling the room” air conditioner. There were three “cons” to the room (again, not a big deal…but...): 1) only one outlet by desk and desk lamp was plugged into one receptacle (had adapters plugged in all around the room for phones/iPods/e-readers) – there were others but they were not convenient for good use. 2) water pressure in shower was poor (again – not a big deal, just took longer to shower). 3) shower head was level with my chin (I'm 5'8”) – really had to hunch over to rinse hair. Even with those three things, room was clean and comfortable. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning (cannot remember the times but it was not too early/not too late). There is a separate room off the lobby the provided a coffee service, hot water, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, waffle batter, some mini pastries, bread/bagels/English muffins, variety of cold cereals, and yogurts. Just the right amount to get the day started (there were a couple of restaurants close by that offered sit down service and more food options). Overall our stay was great – clean, moderately priced, friendly staff, good location (Universal Studios, WB Studios, Hollywood Hills, Griffith Park). Would definitely stay again on next visit to that area and recommend.

We booked a room with a whirlpool bath and paid a higher rate. We got a larger room with no whirlpool. The lobby, garage and hallways are climate controlled at 80 degrees. The room air conditioner only has a high setting which freezes you after 10 minutes and does not shut off after reaching 68. It's useless trying to sleep with it running. The pool is really only for children. It has a 4ft maximum depth. We didn't even attempt to eat the breakfast. It was boxed eggs and old stale sausage. And, it was uncomfortably warm in the dining area. The hotel is centrally located, clean and quiet. At $250/night for a king bed I'd say it's overpriced. The management really needs to lower the temperature in the common areas...very uncomfortable.

2016 Universal Studios Visit; the location of the hotel was very convenient. The quality of the hotel was average. The breakfast was horrible (the eggs were runny). The toaster wasn't working because the breaker had tripped. Coffee should be available all day not just during breakfast hours.

Whenever we go to the Hollywood Bowl we try to find a hotel near the bus shuttle pickup location. Parking at the Bowl is a horrendous or near impossible. We also don't like driving long distances at night to get home. This was my second visit to this hotel. This hotel is quiet and very clean. The beds are comfortable with clean high quality bedding. The breakfast was mediocre at best, the powdered eggs was not very good, the turkey sausage was cold and tasteless. The coffee was good and the parking was great. This hotel is also close to the 134 Freeway which is a plus.

This was my second time staying here as my Burbank office is within walking distance. Staff was great, breakfast was OK. My only issue is that the shower heads are too low and I had to stoop to wash my hair.

IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE CA, OR OUTSIDE US, READ NOTE AT BOTTOM. I have stayed here many days since my last review, so I thought appropriate to review again. As before, I highly recommend this hotel. Hotel is spotless. Bed is so comfortable. All the beds are pillow tops. Shower always has hot water, although like most hotels in California have water saving shower heads. They have Directv on TV which I love with about 10 Premium stations. My preference, style wise is Contemporary.. this hotel is Traditional design, but that is just personal preference,,, no reason not to give highest rating. Free Breakfast is average, but I have no complaints. You must be in breakfast room by 930 though... you can stay as late as you want if you get in by 930. About 10 Block walk to Warner Brothers Studio Tour. Paramount Studios about 15 minutes away. Great Mexican & Thai / Japanese Restaurant across street. Also historic Barbecue/Steak place about 10 blocks away, SmokeHouse Restaurant. NOTE TO THOSE LIVING OUTSIDE CA OR USA Burbank is a suburb of Los Angeles. PARKING in general is a major issue, in entire LA area. Most of the hotels, do not actually have their own parking. Some have just a few spaces. Many have third party agreements, where parking can cost $40 US per day. Many of these limit you to entry of once per day. This hotel is different. They have 2 levels of parking, right under the hotel. Parking is never an issue. It is secure. It is on hotel property and secure. You can enter and exit as often as you wish. This alone, sets this hotel, apart from others. If you are visiting, trust me, this attribute is invaluable. Before you book another hotel, ask them detailed questions about parking. Bottom line, I come here about 20+ days a year to visit family in the area and to is it sites. I highly recommend.

very average mid range hotel, but clean and easy location. staff helpful, walking distance to restaurants including for breakfast. I do not eat the breakfast offered at the hotel. Bed average, shower has good pressure but is short, AC good to have!

I booked this hotel through Universal Studios website for vacation packages. I traveled with my family of 5 and was very pleased with our 2 room suite. It was very spacious with a wet bar, mini fridge, and microwave. There was two private rooms with king and queen beds. There's also a pull out couch. We visited the pool on the second floor. It was a little small but clean and fun. Breakfast was also provided. The kids enjoyed the make your own waffles.

We had a good stay. The rate is high but breakfast is included. We think the reason the breakfast bar is not always filled is that the same person is also checking people out. Maybe more employees would help. However, the rooms are large and vey clean.

Nice hotel - claim location, clean, comfortable, ample free parking, friendly helpful staff. Let down only by the poor quality of the breakfast which is not at all in line with the standing of the hotel - shame !

Probably not fair to review a hotel after you stay at another hotel in another city, which I would have given 6 stars, and at half the price. This hotel was expensive, yes I realise it was in Burbank. Not a very welcoming counter staff.....seemed as if they would rather be elsewhere. The hotel itself was at a good standard. BUT as per a previous BW hotel at LAX...they have a under window airconditioner mounted....good if you like to sleep next to an aeroplane....we had to turn it off at night. Breakfast was average.... ran out of coffee ...I had to go and find someone to fill it up. Free Wifi was ok, free parking was good. I had to use a PC in their "business room".....tiny room ...hot.....2 PCs .... printer not working...I had to wedge the door open to allow some ventilation ! Room was clean and comfortable, king bed was good. A few eateries in walking distance. Would I stay here again....maybe being close to Universal...but not at that price.

I do not recommend this place as the pool is small and cold, the bed is lumpy and saggy, and the price is exorbitant. No milk available for cereal in the morning and I could not use my points, but that does not matter as I doubt I will stay at a Best Western again.

We stayed here 1 night in April 2016 as we had arranged for a WB studio tour in the morning. It was a very short walk in the morning. The hotel is nice, as nice as you can expect from a best western. Clean hotel, comfortable bed, easy check-in/check-out and a very nice cafe next door with great food. You cannot beat free parking in their underground garage!! It is not the most stylish, rooms are a bit dark and outdated, but spacious. For our purposes, we did not care. Would definitely recommend for a short stay based on location for the tour.

This hotel is in a very convenient location. # block to Warner Brothers and less than 3 miles to Universal Studios. The parking is safe and free. The room was clean and quiet. There are many restaurants within walking distance.

This was our second stay at the hotel as we are caring for a senior relative. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are very caring and supportive of our needs and situation. (My only negative is that I would like to see an alternative to the turkey sausage for breakfast.) We will definitely return.

So I am conflicted about our 2-night stay here. On the one-hand the staff, in particular the caring man at the front desk, elevates my review overall. On the other-hand, having full trash cans at breakfast, no orange juice, no syrup, little coffee left, just after a staff member lady walked through the breakfast area as if she was making sure everything was OK, was a severe disappointment, especially for the myriad of travelers on a schedule here.. .. And this was the second day of breakfast after the first day my Mom's milk curdled when it was put in her coffee. Both days we reported our concerns to the front desk man who was sincerely apologetic and rectified the situations immediately. The first night stay I listened to loud bass music in some nearby room for 30 minutes until it was too much for son to fall asleep to, called the front desk, and was told a noise complaint would be delivered. Son and I finally fell asleep an hour later with no noise being turned down. And the view of our room .. a brick wall of an adjoining building about 3 feet from my window. Second morning a housekeeper came by at 8:00 AM to see if we'd checked out. We were just on our way to breakfast, it seemed mighty early on checkout day to see if we were gone. The price during a weekday stay, $225 each night. The underground parking was nice and easy. While I wanted to like this stay there were just too many negatives about the experience (though again the front desk guy gets all the credit this stay). Oh, and an Uber ride to Universal Studios from this location was only $5 each way, that was a positive :)

Stayed 2 nights with family for Universal Studios visit. All decent hotels in the area were expensive, but this one offered a good blend of amenities vs. price. Free parking, good breakfast, good location, very clean rooms.

Everyone at the front desk was both friendly and helpful. If you are visiting Warner Brothers Studios this location is in easy walking distance. If you are visiting Universal Studios it is a short drive from this motel. There is parking in the lower levels for no added charge. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The king size bed was comfortable. The TV had the largest selection of channels I have seen in any Best Western. My only complaint, and it is a minor one, is that the shower head requires any one who is six feet tall or taller to contort their body to wash their hair and upper torso.

This is a typical Best Western. Nice clean rooms, very nice staff, and plenty of (free onsite) parking. Amazing location. Just a few minutes drive to Universal Studios. Steps from Warner Bros. Barely 10 minutes from Burbank Airport. The pool is the size of a postage stamp, and cold, but we didn't go there to swim. It was the perfect choice for our Universal Studios visit, and we'd gladly stay there again. I'd pass on the free hot breakfast (the eggs and sausage were terrible) but the cold options were very nice. We had plenty to eat to start our day. We will be back.

the location was close to universal Hollywood and the area was real nice and quiet. Warren Brothers studio was one block away. The hotel was very nice and the breakfast wasn't too bad. The laundry room was small one washer and one dryer but we managed to get our laundry done after a few hours. The price for the stay was the most I've ever payed for from best western, really pricy just to sleep in the rooms. But it's California and close to universal and warren brothers studio.

Our only gripe is the room could of been cleaner, but that should be easy to fix. No one is perfect! :) This location was extremely quiet and fit our needs perfectly. The location is minutes away from Universal Studios and Shuttle parking for the Hollywood Bowl. Would definitely consider this hotel again for future trips to LA. The attached Novocafe is an excellent place to eat for breakfast ,lunch and dinner.

Stayed 4 days here and it was a nice clean and tidy place to relax after long days of studio tours and sightseeing. Very quiet at the back of the hotel on the third floor and a great location for access to the freeways and L.A.

You can't beat the location of this hotel- we walked to the Warner Brothers studio tour in 5 minutes, drove to universal studios in 10 minutes, and were surrounded by all kinds of fun restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and spacious, staff was friendly (even when we checked in at 2:30 AM after a delayed flight) and breakfast was good, if a bit simple. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in LA next

The room was clean and good size for my daughter and I. Comfortable beds. Small fridge in room was helpful. Had microwave but did not use. Stayed four nights while on vacation to see a couple tapings of our favorite shows. Easy walk to Warner Bros. Studio for the tour as well as Gate 3 for check in of Big Bang and/or Ellen. Short drive to CBS studios in Studio City. Would stay again if doing studios in and around the Burbank area. FREE parking!!!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellent. However, when we asked for an extra blanket, they were out, and the printer in the business area did not work which presented a problem when we needed to print our airline tickets.

Excellent Hotel in a great location! Very clean, spacious and nice hotel. The free breakfast was nice. You could make your own waffles. We were very impressed with the size of the rooms. Parking was excellent too. There is a parking garage under the hotel. We felt very safe in parking there. There were several restaurants within walking distance too.

The hotel was a no frills, good place to stay overnight. The room was on the slightly smaller size but clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was not great but had enough options to tide you over. The only issue I had was that the pillows were very perfumy, almost to the point of un-useable.

This makes the second time I stayed here and will not hesitate to stay again the next time I am in Burbank. Courteous staff and the property is clean. Visiting Disney Studios so the proximity is excellent to both Disney and Warner Brothers. I definitely recommend.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine as well. Staff very accommodating and polite. We will stay here again and have already made reservations for our next visit. It's close to all the attractions the area has to offer. We recommend this hotel,

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Media Center on January 23rd and 24th (room 302). Being the weekend, it was not full so there was plenty of parking underground (no cost) and the room was very quiet so slept well on the great bed. The room was large and comfortable as was the bathroom. My only negative comment has to do with lighting. The lamps were nice but did not illuminate the room enough and did not work well for reading. The hotel is across the street from a good Mexican restaurant and fairly close to other dining establishments. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

We stayed in the 'Suite-1 King Bed with a sofa-bed'. The room was large and had a microwave and mini fridge. Having two rooms and two televisions was handy for all of the family. The bathroom had plenty of room and the shower had the brilliant shower head. It's located near major roads for easy access to other suburbs (i.e. Down-town Burbank, Pasadena & Hollywood) but has a residential area behind the hotel. The Warner Bros. Studio Tour, VONS supermarket, restaurants including Bob's Big Boy are all close and within a short walking distance. The coin operated laundry on the premises was $1 per load. The free onsite parking is underneath the Hotel. I would stay there again.

A trip to the Rose Bowl game and parade was a once in a life time trip. Rooms were high priced and at a premium but we found one at the Media Center. This is a nice clean hotel with a great location to many fun places. The beds were comfortable and a good size room. Breakfast was a buffet that hotels offer, the Mexican restaurant right across the street is really good for lunch or dinner. Also parking is underground and free.

It's a nice peaceful place to stay. We were five members. So booked a suite. Spacious comfortable rooms. Breakfast is complimentary. But spread is not impressive. Another issue is only one restroom for such a big suite which accommodated 5 persons. Lot of dining options available in the vicinity. Location was very convenient for our visits to Universal Studio and Hollywood Boulevard. Overall enjoyed the stay.

We came here to celebrate our daughter's Sweet 16th Birthday! We enjoyed the back roads to get to the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Blvd thanks to excellent directions by the front staff. Both Andrew and Theresa were very accommodating. We then enjoyed a full day at Universal Studios, which is also only a 10 minute drive from here. The Mexican restaurant across the street is excellent and reasonably priced. Finally, Mulholland Drive is just a five minute drive away and we saw the HOLLYWOOD sign. We will definitely be back to this quiet, nice motel. Thank you!

Great property with excellent staff. When we got home we realized something important had been left behind in our room and it was immediately reported. Was told by staff (twice) the item was not located. Hard to believe as we did not bring it home. The item contained prescription drugs and I have to believe it was located.........and kept. Very disappointing!

We have stayed here a few times now. Beautiful rooms, a decent continental breakfast, a small but nice pool, and underground parking. If there was one drawback is the price. It has to be high because of the area, and if you look hard you could find a cheaper hotel, without all the niceties this hotel has.

The room was very spacious and there was a refrigerator and microwave along with coffee maker. The fitness room needs to be bigger very clean and breakfast was okay. There are a lot of restaurants nearby which makes it very nice to go to and have dinner or drinks and then be close by the hotel.

We stayed here during Thanks Giving. Place was quiet and we had choice of room, easy car parking, great access to breakfast. Breakfast included a couple of hot items such as eggs and sausages, cereals, juice, coffee, yogurt etc Pro's - nice rooms, close to Universal Studios and Warner Studios, Media Room (to print out those Universal PDF tickets for free. Con's - Its mainly a business hotel, we used it as a family hotel, so you may need to drive (rather than walk) to find meals. Don't expect views (you'll get this from Universal Studios!). We were there during Thanks Giving, so things were quiet anyway. Its a nicely maintained and safe feeling property - enjoy!

Close to VONS supermarket where we can grab some fruits, about 15-min walk. Impossible to walk to any shopping areas - too far. We had to uber to downtown Burbank and Glendale for some shopping. I must say it is a 20-min walk to Warner Brothers Studio where we had a 2-hr exciting tour. Wifi sucks in the room, most of the time we cannot send text messages out. This hotel is by far the worst connection compared to other Best Western hotels we have stayed in the last 2 months. Thanks to the housekeepers who cleaned our room, she certainly did a good job!

Excellent Best Western Plus Property. Rooms were clean & extra roomy. the facility was very clean and the business center was convenient in the front lobby and private, The Best Western was convenient to the local freeway but away from the noise of a freeway.

Run by a Mr Patel - who was very kind to us when we finally figured out that he was the owner and spoke to him on our last day in LA - this hotel's USP is definitely its location - practically next door to the Warner Brothers Studio and a quick drive away from Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kodak Theatre, Universal Studios and a host of other attractions. For a no-fuss, no-frills establishment, the rooms are large, well-lit and adequately appointed with most things that one would need for a short stay spent mostly sightseeing. The skeletal staff (literally...you barely see anybody but everything works!) keeps the place spotless and the person at the front desk, who pops up whenever you are anywhere near the lobby, tries his best to help even though he couldn't do much about a leaky faucet on our first night. But that was a very small hitch in an otherwise comfortable stay. Several reviews have commented on the tiny closet in the room, but it serves its purpose for a two-night vacation. The complimentary breakfast is simple, limited but efficient enough for people like us who can manage with nothing more elaborate than cereal, bread, fruits, yoghurt, juices and beverages to start the day. You can also make your own waffles in the dining room. For a more filling breakfast - and all other meals - there are plenty of good eateries within walking distance. The icing on the cake? Free parking and free internet! What more can you ask for?

This hotel was in a great location for my business trip, the internet and complimentary continental breakfast was key to my stay. I left every morning for work and by 4 pm when i got back my room was clean, bed made and new towels every time. While i was there i had to do some laundry and even left all my quarters out on the desk and never i missed a single one. There was a back order on their breakfast scrambled eggs but was nothing crazy.

The location for close-in Valley, near Hollywood, and easy on and off the 134 Freeway, couldn't be better and still be in a relatively quiet, less frantic neighborhood. The underground parking has at least 2 levels, is easy to get into and navigate and has large spaces--a major plus. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. Breakfast is ample and fresh. One negative are the finishing touches--wallpaper, molding, fixtures,etc.--which are cheap and poorly done. Another is the pool which is on the second floor, totally unshaded, and postage stamp in size. But for a good stay within walking distance of good restaurants and Warner Brothers Studios, that's not too bad.

This Best Western Plus Media Center Inn and Suites is a very clean, customer friendly place to stay. The room was great with all the right amenities and very clean. The Continental breakfast had a variety of choices. I recommend this hotel for your Burbank stay.

Perfect quiet hotel. Room oversized and very clean. Free parking. Andrew at front desk was wonderful!. Breakfast continental..the usual. No restaurant on site but awesome mexican restaurant across street called Don Cuco.

A quiet hotel that has a free parking. Self laundry is a plus. Vending machines in each floor is convenient. Express check in & out. Large rooms with comfortable beds. Felt like guests are under authoritarian power of hotel's management. Breakfast hall closes the door at 9:30 sharp. Don't dream to have extra pillows because it's not allowed. It is considered a taboo to ask for a weighing scale. Poor breakfast items with very limited tables (8 tables only) and a very narrow food display area that makes it very crowded. The pool is very small and not well maintained.
