Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel, Bryce Canyon City

We visited Bryce Canyon at the end of December 2021 as part of a long road trip through the southwest, spending two nights at the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel. There is a lodge in Bryce Canyon National Park itself, but it is closed in winter, reducing the options for lodging, with the nearest being the mostly commercial settlement just north of the park entrance. It includes a few hotels, some stores and services. We stayed at the Best Western Plus, a large modern motel/lodge. It is nothing very special but it is nice with some nice decor, an attractive, large lobby. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the prices reasonable. Since there were three of us and we like plenty of room, we got a large family room which was very spacious and attractive. The rate was particularly good since it included a good breakfast buffet. This was simple but good, with eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc., along with cereal, pancakes, and toast and fruit. This was convenient given the limited options in the area. it is just outside the entrance to the park and next to most of the other services.

Check in was smooth, the concierge explained everything clearly. The property is well maintained. The room was spacious and housekeeping had done a perfect job. Breakfast was okay too. The only regret is that I stayed for only one day due to an adjustment in my itinerary.

The hotel is located just at the entrance of the park and has a big parking with plenty of space. The lobby, used also for the breakfast, is clean and very well furbished. A fireplace makes the atmosphere very pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean; breakfast is served with real dishes and cutlery, this is a very nice change in comparison with many other hotels of the same class. The staff (roomkeeping, reception and breakfast) is very friendly and helpful. Well done Best Western! A place to recommend and where to return.

Our group of photographers appreciated the location and great service. We came to photograph Bryce Canyon national Park and the hotel was the perfect place to stay. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the overall experience couldn't have been better!

I found this hotel to be friendly, clean and comfortable. A generous hot buffet breakfast was included. Less than 10 minutes from the park gate was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Bryce Canyon.

The room was great. Loved the suite with double sinks and sitting area. The breakfast included was huge compared to other hotels we've stayed at. Best laundry facilities of anywhere. Great location right outside Bryce Canyon National Park.

We stayed there several nights while visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. The location, about 10 minutes to the park entrance, was fantastic. This area has only a few lodging options and this one was the best. There is a small store at the other Best Western across the street which is handy. We loved the location because we were able to go back into the park in the late evening to take pictures of the absolutely stunning night sky. The hotel room and the hotel itself and the breakfast area were all very clean. The staff are all fairly pleasant. The room was a decent size. The separate bathroom was definitely large enough and also had a separate shower and toilet area which is very convenient. The hotel is definitely a bit dated but was OK for the location and price. The breakfast that was included had decent options. I don't know if we will visit Bryce Canyon again but if we do this would be our hotel of choice because of the convenient location.

Nice hotel good staff My only complaint was the number and location of the elevators and laundry rooms. Long walk for the disabled. Breakfast was adequate and same as any other chain hotel. easy access to Bryce Canyon.

We initially wanted to stay at the Lodge within Bryce but it was full. We settled on BWPlus and are soooo happy! We would choose this hotel next time for sure! The room was clean and equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The hotel is walking distance to a couple of restaurants. The breakfast was hearty and perfect to start our day hiking. AND the price is right compared to other hotels in the area. Not that is matters but the lobby is beautiful!!

Very convenient to the National Park. Just a short trip down the road to the entrance. Hotel only has self serve breakfast and no restaurant. Breakfast was a great assortment of foods and drinks.. Other 'resort' dining choices are very limited and expensive for the quality and taste. Ruby's apparently owns and runs everything around there. The fast food grill menu is sandwiches and burgers; and just barely edible. Lunch buffet was limited and mediocre. Evening cowboy buffet expensive, but diners always seemed to be lined out the door. Best lunch/dinner we had was at Subways a few miles down the road. Choose that over the Ruby's grill.

Very good location to visit Bryce Canyon. Staff very kind. Rooms are confortable. Breakfast can be improved . Cooked meals are too fat. Pancakes and bread are not very tasty. Hot chocolat smells all except chocolat...

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights while on a sightseeing trip to Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. The hotel actually called my friend (who booked the room) twice before we arrived to make sure we were coming, which neither of us had ever had happen before We were given an ADA room on the 3rd floor because our original room had some kind of problem from the freezing weather earlier. Our room was spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel clerk who checked us in was very polite and thoroughly explained everything, even drawing on the map to show us where things were. One thing that was different, though, was that they do not have housekeeping clean the rooms during your stay; they said if you needed anything supplied to just call and let them know and they would take care of it. The most amazing thing was the breakfast buffet. They had practically anything you would have wanted for breakfast available! The only 2 things I didn't see were sausage patties and grits, but they had link sausage and oatmeal, which was fine. They had folks coming around to remove dishes as we were eating and bustling around to keep the coffee and food items filled, just like a real restaurant. Even though the price of the room was a little more expensive, the breakfast buffet made up for the difference in price. I'd definitely recommend this for a stay near Bryce Canyon!

Hoodoos in Bryce, snow, and country music in Ebenezers barn.. great Bryce experience and a great place to return after a day in the park. Dinner at Rubys across the Highway was great, good service and tasty food, not gourmet or fancy.

There were so many issues with this hotel. First, we tried to check in at 4 pm, and was told the room was almost ready. The desk clerk gave us our keys, and fifteen minutes later, after retrieving our luggage, we headed to our room. Noticing the door was ajar, I looked in the room. The housekeeper was sitting on the couch with her feet underneath her while looking at her phone. We waited outside while she finished cleaning the room. I complained to the supervisor on duty who said she would report it to housekeeping. The next day while we were watching tv in the living room, a women opened our door and started to come in our room. She didn't knock or say housekeeping. If all of that wasn't bad enough, the sheets were badly pilled and felt like sandpaper. No one wants to hike all day and then sleep on rough worn out sheets. The coffee maker didn't work, the carpet had holes and the furniture was warped. The breakfast buffet's hot foods were cold and tasteless. On a positive note, the property is close to Bryce Canyon NP. The suite we stayed in was spacious and the room was clean.

Stayed here two nights as part of a Vermont Bike Tours trip. Perfect location with a Bryce Canyon shuttle stop right in front. Walking distance to Ebeneezers and Ruby's. Enormous buffet breakfast included. Clean, comfortable room.

Our family stayed at Best Western Plus in Bryce Canyon City, UT to spend time at Bryce Canyon National Park. The staff, breakfast, room and facility were excellent. I would recommend staying there. The location is very close to the park entrance of Bryce Canyon which is a beautiful and unique park to visit.

I chose Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel on the reviews that it had received. Indeed the room was clean and spacious, and close to the park. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and good. The only problem is that the door to the adjoining room wasn't insulated enough, so the sound travel from the neighboring guest. They might have been off clock and chatting in the middle of the night. If I was told that it was an adjoining room, I would have asked for another room. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel itself. But it's just a short walk to Ruby's. If you ate too much buffet, you could "walk it off" on your way home!

Fair Warning. I booked a Deluxe Suite - 1 King bed. When we arrived in the suite it was an ADA room. When I questioned it at the front desk, they tell me that all of the Deluxe Suites have an ADA bathroom. If they are telling the truth, then the pictures on the web-site are not accurate. It specifically shows a separate water closet with a toilet. My toilet is sitting out in the open ADA bathroom. Not impressed.

This hotel has the main building and then additional buildings that are of the motel style (exterior doors, two floors, all outside entrances). We were fortunate to have gotten a room in the main building (a double queen suite). Huge room, VERY comfy beds and pillows, clean linens, AC that actually worked like it should, large flat screen TV, plentiful coffee (and maker), excellent Wifi and nice hotel staff. There is a large buffet breakfast (though no other food served) and a well appointed an stylish entry and eating area. The only faux pas were: 1) When we entered our room, there was a suit case in the room. A hotel employee was in the hallway, apparently with the owner of the suit case, trying to figure out where it was. Thankfully, owner and suit case were quickly reunited, though we were very curious as to what it was doing in our room, on arrival. 2) There was a dust cloth left on the TV stand. Oddly out of place, though the room was otherwise immaculate.

The common areas are very inviting. The staff is very nice. And the location is terrific. But the room was a different story. Really loud air conditioning, very bad water pressure. It was just an OK chain hotel room. But the price was crazy. Not at all worth the price. They clearly have a corner on the market as the only hotels adjacent to the park.

Very nice property for Best Western. The hotel is fairly new so it's in really good condition. There aren't many choices when staying near Bryce Canyon, but this hotel is definitely the best there is near the park. We had a suite through Expedia, so our room was very large. It was definitely nice having all that room. The only misgiving with staying here is the price for a Best Western, very expensive and overpriced. It's hard to figure how long these hotels can keep charging exorbitant prices, but this hotel can get away with it because it offers value for the money: location, good breakfast, nice staff, amenities.

Really loved this. It is not a tpyical BW motel but a true hotel. very pretty lodge like feel. Rooms were large and super comfortable and the breakfast was huge and outstanding, again, different than the typical BW. WOuld stay here again

Beautiful facility. One of the very few places to stay near Bryce Canyon. Everything was excellent, however it is very expensive. One of the most expensive that I have stayed at. They have a captive audience.

This hotel has it all together. Please stay here and experience it. I can't believe the breakfast spread. WOW. I definately will stay here if I ever get back in this area. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was excellent.

Adequate hotel room that we were charged DOUBLE the walk-in rate because we booked in advance via Booking.com, and hotel would make no accomodation or intercede with Booking.com. Breakfast only restaurant, no lunch, dinner, or bar/lounge, quite a surprise at our room rate. Very nice staff, but it takes more than staff to make a hotel stay enjoyable.

I apologize for we were not able to make a change in the rate during your recent stay. We cannot cancel reservations made through an online booking agency. Most hotel brands including Best Western offer a low rate guarantee when you book through them. I always suggest booking directly with the hotel for the best rate and better chance of making changes.

Opposite the original Ruby's Inn this hotel is really the only other show in town - a small town! We had a mix up at check in when we were told that our Travel Agent had made a mistake when booking our room. We were given another and as we were only here for one night it turned out not to be a problem. Breakfast was included. It's not always possible to have this but it was most welcome. Room was clean and suited our needs perfectly. Other than the mix up when the front desk insisted that the booking was not their fault I. Oils recommend this hotel. Certainly not “Grand” though.

We recently stayed here for one night during a weekend visit to Bryce Canyon National Park and surrounding attractions; its location was ideal for our purposes. We were so pleased to find a room available for a Saturday night in August (at an affordable rate) with just a few weeks' advance booking. Our fourth-floor suite was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Our bathroom had double sinks, a huge counterspace area, and plentiful towels. Our beds were very comfortable, with nice linens and firm mattresses (my preference). Our closet was extra-large, and the microwave and mini-fridge were appreciated. Our a/c worked great but was quite loud, even on the low setting (this was the only negative of our whole stay). This hotel complex is large enough to accommodate a crowd, yet it was very quiet. There was a Sweet Shop in the lobby, and the staff members we encountered were pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed the beautiful western-themed artwork in the hallways. The breakfast room here was quite large and contained plenty of tables and chairs for hotel guests. We enjoyed a very complete complementary buffet—they offered a full variety of breakfast food items, from pastries and other carbs to eggs and breakfast meats. The hot food items were not fancy but were well prepared and plentiful in selection; you could definitely fuel up for your day here. Best of all, there were multiple staff members attending to the breakfast area, from clearing tables to refilling food dishes. All in all, this was an excellent hotel choice in Bryce. We only wished we were staying more than one night!

This hotel was clean, had large rooms, great breakfast buffet, and professional staff. It is right outside the park, so great for late nights or early mornings in the parks. Or for a quick rest or dip in the pool in the afternoon after a morning hike, before heading out for your evening hike.

Stayed at Bryce Canyon best western in room 3452 and had Emerson as our house steward he kept our room in amazing clean and was very helpful with any thing we needed… outstanding customers service and everything was well kept up

Rooms were super clean and hospitality was efficient and so helpful! Special thanks to Emerson for making this single female traveler feel safe. Food was delicious, too. Great location! Entertainment at Ebenezeers across the street made for an even more fun location!

Location is fantastic. At the entrance of the park, with the Bryce Canyon shuttle bus stopping in front of the hotel. Staff is ok. Some of them are friendly, others are clearly just doing their job. Rooms are spacious. We slept with a family of 5 in one room. The queen beds were ok, nothing special, but the sofa bed is horrendous. You literally feel every bed spring in your back.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and near the park. That said, I thought the 90s interior and front of house customer service could do with some improvement. Accommodation options for Bryce are limited, so this isn't a bad option - just don't expect too much. All of the hotels, shops, bars, restaurants and gas stations outside the park in Bryce felt affiliated and franchised, which is a shame in my opinion, as the park/canyon boasts some of the finest scenery in the US. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly on the occasion we made it, but if you like to hit the hiking trails early you might be disappointed. Would be good if the hotel offered some snack boxes for hikers that want to leave before breakfast starts.

My husband and I stayed here one night during our 30-day National Park Road trip. There is another Best Western Plus across the street. We are glad we stayed at Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel instead. The hotel across the street looked like more of a motel. The hotel is within minutes of Bryce Canyon National Park. We enjoyed the outdoor pool & hot tub after a long day hiking at the park. Breakfast was great. Honestly, one of the best hotel breakfasts we encountered during our trip. Lots of options and better-quality food than most hotel breakfasts. Rooms are updated and spacious. Very clean. A nice stay overall.

Clean room and comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Easy drive to park entrance, other eateries, and shopping. Amazing breakfast with tons to choose from. Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

Nice and quite but close to everything. This was one of the better breakfasts that we have had at a Best Western. It is like a little city at this location. Ella at the front desk was great and always there to help.

This hotel was very comfortable. The people were extremely nice and helpful. The Bryce Canyon bus stop was right outside the door, no need to drive into and find parking so convenient. Good place to stay!

There are a few different choices but this by far exceeds all expectations. A little more expensive but worth the extra luxury if you have the money to spend! I highly recommend to anyone to walk over to the Ebeneezer's dinner theater as well. There's so much to see and Bryce you need to stay a few days or more.

Was a great hotel, the pool and hot tub was great! Definitely would recommend. The beds are comfortable, great restaurants with in walking distance! The hotel was very pretty inside and clean , service was great!

This is a perfectly fine property. Rooms are large and clean. The pool is small and not what you'd expect at this price. It's very busy. The service is sub-par. The same family owns all the hotels, resturants, shops, and gas stations in town. So they know you don't really have any choice of where to stay if you can't get a place in the park.

It's been a long time since I've stayed at a Best Western so I wasn't sure what to expect but was very impressed with this one! Our room was huge—2 beds and a fold out sofa, big bathroom with 2 sinks and a separate shower and toilet room. Hotel was quiet and beds were comfortable. Huge breakfast buffet with great selection. Friendly staff, too.

Quite impressed by this one. Reception experience good but be aware that if you arrive early your room will not likely be ready. Room nice size and well fitted out - air con a little noisy and room does get hot if you turn it off regardless of outside temp - we had a hot day 31C/88F but by evening it was only 15C/59F and I chilled the room down but within 30 mins of turning it off the fan was on again at 21C/70F so best to leave it on constant fan. A little noisy as everyone gets up early - breakfast will be busy even at 7:15. Probably the best included breakfast we have had on our trip (of 6 so far) with good food and wide selection. They also score much better on eco scale - yes there is a lot of plastic but it is not single use and they have real cutlery!

This was a wonderful experience and very friendly staff. They had plenty of staff to support breakfast so it went smoothly and they always had enough food of what my kids wanted. We will be coming here again in the future.

We recently (late June 2022) spent two nights at this hotel to visit Bryce Canyon NP. Our Family Suite with 2 queen beds worked out very well for our 2 teenage boys and parents. As others have stated, the room was nice and big with a pull out couch/sitting area in addition to the queen beds. They have a slightly larger refrigerator in the room as well, which helped as we were on the start of a road trip. Lots of room for all of our luggage, cooler, bike, etc.... The rooms are bit dated, but sparkly clean. Some areas that I would like to mention, that I haven't seen mentioned on recent posts that could be helpful: 1. They have a water bottle refill station on site, so no need to bring lots of plastic bottles. 2. There is a shuttle into the park right in the hotel's parking lot, which was a great way to get around the park. You buy your park pass using a QR code ahead of time. They have the QR code at the front desk or at the shuttle stop. 3. The breakfast was one of the best included hotel breakfasts I have seen/eaten. They have it down to a science. It's very substantial with everything already made (pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, etc...). 4. They will do a daily tidy in your room if wanted. 5. There is some nice outdoor seating for take out meals. 6. The laundry facility is huge, which doesn't surprise me because if you do any hiking in Bryce, you will get dirty. 7. The gym is dated. Don't hesitate to book this location.

It was a nice surprise to be upgraded to a bigger room. Great feel to hotel. Good mix of outdoorsy and modern. Front desk staff were helpful. My kids enjoyed the continental breakfast. Great service Great location to park entrance. Enjoyed the resort pool area.

Absolutely a great hotel. Extremely friendly front desk and the same with any employee my family encountered. 8 of us in 3 rooms and all feel the same way. Great pool, wonderful breakfast and very close to Bryce Canyon.

We arrived after a long drive from Moab and was greeted with a very friendly receptionist, very helpful in explaining everything we needed to do and know and soon we were in our room. Nice room, not really a great view, but I've had worse, great bed and lovely bathroom, but, noticed the carpet was getting a bit threadbare, now, it may just be that room, but presuming there are more rooms like this, then I think it may need a bit of a touch up. Great nights sleep and the following morning off for breakfast, buffet style, great choice, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, pastries, toast and hot foods, bacon, sausage etc, personally the one thing missing was fried eggs or omellete, but that was only one small thing. Staff were very good in keeping the food stocked up, plates taken away etc and the food was warm-hot rather than the usual warm, so that was a bonus. The shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel, which is great, the hotel is in a beautiful, no, stunning part of the country what more do you need, it may need a bit of TLC but who cares when you have that on your doorstep?

Front desk friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice and being September hot tub was nice on the cool nights. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Cereal to hot eggs, sausage,bacon, home fries set up on buffet, friuts , yogurt, ect!! We stayed here on our way to Vegas and stayed a 2nd night on our way back to Moab. Gas fire pit was broken both times we stayed , but, hot tub made up for it.. would recommend highly.

Clean, spacious rooms, great customer service, close proximity to the National Park. Comprehensive breakfast- something to accommodate just about every diet or preference. Nice pool. They don't have a restaurant on-site for dinner but provide a list of nearby options with directions at check-in. Rates were a little high, but we were there during peak season. The hotel is listed as a pick-up site for the National Park shuttle, which is a super convenient way to enter the park and access trails/destinations within it.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The room for 5 of us (parents, 20, 19, and 16 yr old kids) was spacious and clean. Hotel was beautiful and conveniently located near Bryce Canyon National Park with a convenient shuttle. Staff was friendly, and the breakfast was amazing!

Stayed here as an overnight for hiking Bryce Canyon-the hotel is very large and clean. We had a king room on the fourth floor of the main building and it was comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was hectic and average. Good for an overnight

Our room was spacious and had 2 sinks. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is right across the road from Ruby's Inn which has a Cowboy buffet for dinner. This hotel is an easy drive to Bryce Canyon National Park. It also has a laundry room for guests. It would be helpful to have placards to clearly indicate which machines are washers and which are dryers, since several people put soap and coins in a machine only to find out it was a dryer and not a washer! They look very similar. There is no door to the bathroom sink area so light spills out into the room at night. It would be nice to have the option to keep the AC fan on so that it does not keep shutting off. The pool was not open. This hotel is the best of those available in Bryce Canyon.

This is a very nice, clean hotel with comfortable rooms and an above average breakfast - a perfect way to prepare for a day of hiking. This hotel is super close to the park and there is a shuttle stop you can walk to if you prefer not to drive. We would stay here again.

We arrived a little early but the front desk staff was friendly and was able to get us checked in early. Our room was clean and spacious. They had a terrific breakfast. I would recommend this location.

This hotel is set back away from the main street of Bryce Canyon and close to the Canyon itself. Checkin was quick and our room was lovely except for a nosiy fridge which didn't cause us any problem. This hotel provides a complimentary buffet breakfast which was very extensive. We were given plastic gloves to use when getting food from the buffet which wa a good idea.

The room was spacious and clean; gloves were handed out so no one's hands touched the buffet ladles; staff offered to light up the fireplace in the lobby because it had gotten chilly outside - a very enjoyable sitting place then.

We stayed at the Best Western in May 2022. We originally had planned a two night stay, but when another reservation was canceled, we called and requested an additional night at Best Western. They were able to add the additional night. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and met all our needs. The breakfast buffet was very good with many options to choose from. Restaurant staff wore masks and handed out disposable gloves for guests to use at the buffet. I would return and stay at this Best Western Plus.

They gave us a room with guests staying above us and adjacent to us. The guests adjacent to us had their t.v blasting. Above us, the guests sounded like elephants walking around-boom, boom, boom, with each step. I thought the ceiling might cave in!? My husband told the front desk about the situation. They said they could ask the other guests to keep the noise down or we could move to another room. We decided to move to another room. The next room was better-no guests above or adjacent to us. The problem was that we had to move all of our luggage and belongings at 11pm. No one lifted a finger to help us. I have knee problems so my 64 year old husband had to move everything himself. Then, we realized the refrigerator did not work in the new room. My husband called the front desk again. They sent up a repair man 10 minutes later. He adjusted a sensor on the back. Unfortunately, because of all of this, we did not go to bed until 1am. Neither one of us slept well. The room was newer and clean, with a double sink in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and not worn out. The next morning, we ate the breakfast buffet included with our stay located near the lobby. We were required to provide our room number to the elderly man who acted like he was the breakfast police. Also, he gave everyone a plastic glove to place on their hand for handling the serving spoons on the buffet?! Was this for covid? Covid is airborne and is not spread this way. The food on the breakfast buffet was good-eggs, bacon, diced potatoes, yogurt, muffins, danish, bagel, juice, coffee, etc. We stayed there 2 nights. During our stay, the hotel offered no housekeeping. The checkout time was 11:00am. On the morning of our checkout, we had the do not disturb sign on our door. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:00am! Then, they knocked again at 10:00am. After getting disturbed twice, I decided to use the hotel lobby restroom. Finally, I could finish getting ready without getting disturbed. This place was ridiculous!!!

Very basic rooms but the location makes up for it. Lots of eating places within walking distance or you can take the shuttle that I think is free. There is also a large gift shop that is close by too that is fun to shop at. Great breakfast buffet too! Tons of options.

There are very few options near Bryce. This appears to be the best. Room was comfortable, breakfast buffet is included and is adequate. Lobby area is nice, and a good place to relax. Location is ideal—very close to the park & convenient to highways.

It would have been nice to be inside Bryce Canyon at the Lodge but for much less money and more availability, this was great. Ruby's Inn and this Best Western are across the street from each other in Bryce Canyon City and Ruby's General store supplied the food we needed to cook dinner in the room and pack a lunch. The hotel supplied a very ample breakfast. Nice lobby; nice hot tub.

Offers breakfast buffet only. Lunch and dinner are available across the street at Ruby's which is owned by the same family. A shuttle is available between these two properties. The Bryce Canyon NP shuttle does pick up and drop off at this hotel.

First the good. Excellent hot buffet breakfast and staff. Everyone was extremely nice. Nice facility and grounds. The bad. HVAC was poor. Extremely dry heat and difficult to adjust for satisfactory ventilation Bed was terrible and the worst I recently slept in. My bed was soft and saggy, with depression in center. I still gave 4 stars because of staff and breakfast.

Would stay here again. Everything was just right, friendly staff, nice big room with all the amenities, big bathroom, clean, quiet and comfortable. Very good buffet breakfast. Not far from the Park's entrance.

We wanted to stay near Bryce Canyon and there weren't too many hotel choices. This turned out to be a great choice. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. The water pressure was terrible. The breakfast was a highlight of the stay. They were strictly enforcing mask wearing and they handed out gloves to use at the self serve buffet. The options for food were really tasty. They had staff around to clean and sanitize the tables when people left. Staff were also wearing masks. It was really appreciated.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms are enormous and have nice amenities. The hotel is also very nice inside and it has a great breakfast buffet. It was the largest complimentary hotel buffet I have ever seen. I would definitely stay here again.

All motels near the park are pricey; this one provides some value. Facilities are excellent, location is great, just outside the park - looks like the park shuttle stops there. Staff are helpful, AWESOME breakfast - don't miss it. Recommend it.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. the interior is dated. Our room had an odor that smell like someone had fried food in it previous to us. ( it bugged me but not my husband) It was ok…. but didn't add to our trip. The breakfast buffet was good, and included.

Ignore all the bad reviews. It was a great stay. (other than the queen bed, instead of King, but our fault for booking late) Wish we would have planned to stay here 2 nights instead of just one. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were close to elevator but it was no problem. Breakfast was chaotic--but it's a buffet in a huge hotel, so I think it went as well as planned. Get down there early to avoid the crowds. We were late because we had stayed late in the park. Front Desk was fully staffed, so check in was fairly fast. I would definitely stay here again.

I'm totally satisfied with the service that I received with the price I paid. The room is spacious. Breakfast provided is above expectation. The location of the hotel is also convenient and is only 10 mins drive to the sunset point of the Bryce Canyon NP.

We booked a King room but to our surprise all King rooms are located near the elevator and noisy ice/vending machines per the front desk. You can upgrade to a Double Queen, really? It was about the upgrade, why are all King room in the least desirable location?

Clean, great breakfast, close to park and local stores. We came when there was still snow on the ground in places and the park lodge wasn't yet open - but this hotel was. Great location, close to shops for postcards, water, wine, food.

Our family stayed here for 2 nights to visit BCNP. The hotel is amazing. Our room was enormous, 2 double beds with a separate sitting area, desk, mini fridge and microwave. The lobby is gorgeous. Let's talk about breakfast! It was probably the best free hotel breakfast we've had…ever. And definitely the best one we've had since COVID. The location is literally right outside the park gates - less than 5 minutes. The town is small and was pretty dead during our late March visit. The pool was closed (snow) but we were able to use the pool at Rubys across the street because they are sister hotels. Definitely a great stay and no complaints. Would stay again.

We stayed one night at this location while visiting Bryce Canyon. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The rooms were a bit dated but that seemed standard for the area. We were able to venture across the street to visit Ruby's and use their amenities (pool/jacuzzi). That was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and you could tell cleanliness was a top priority as there was plenty of staff tending to tables and keeping the areas sanitized.

What a great surprise! Room was huge (we had 2 queens), breakfast was really good for a buffet. They handed out gloves so you could keep your hands covered while using the serving utensils. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Bryce Canyon.

Very good breakfast and OK service. Unfortunately, we got a sofa bed with strong urine small, even with new bed set provided. Some little kids must be peed on the bed. They should have changed the whole sofa, before new guests coming in.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Best Western Plus. The hotel was very clean and our teenage boys appreciated the extra couch that turned into a bed. We all slept great. The breakfast was well organized. The hotel was full but they had overflow seating for those who needed it. Breakfast was good - a little better than what you'd expect for a free breakfast.

Predictable quality is why we picked Best Western. Clean room and hardy breakfast. My husband loved the unsweetened almond milk at breakfast. I loved the fruit salad. The biggest surprise / disappointment was that the “indoor” pool was at the Sister property. It wasn't far away… but that detail didn't come to our attention until we checked in. Had we known this I may have booked with them instead. The outdoor hot tub was good enough to satisfy my kids the first night. My daughter didn't find the pullout comfortable. But that is to be expected, I think.

The place looks great but don't be fooled. Unfortunately, the construction of this property is so poor that it has a huge negative impact on using the rooms/enjoying the property. However, I am not sure there are any better choices given the location. Try to get a room on the top floor and if not, bring earplugs. My sleep the first night was interrupted in the wee hours of the morning as the guests above us were walking from around 3 AM to 7 AM. They were packing as they had an early departure scheduled. Housekeeping came in after they left and the noise from them was horrible. The next guests that arrived above us had a young child that ran around the room for hours and hours and our room being below shook. I have never experienced this before. My husband was sitting on the couch and it was vibrating and you could see things in the room shaking. I called the front desk numerous time and it was obvious that they are well aware of the property's shortcomings. I have a feeling they are not going to do anything to fix the problem as most guests visit this area once, no repeat business so no incentive to make things better and where else are you going to stay if you want to visit Bryce National Park? On a positive note, our room was nice and clean. Be careful if you decide to do laundry, most of the machines are broken whether indicated or not. One member of my group was stuck with a load of soaking wet clothes as the machine did not drain and that was one of the machines that did not have a broken sign on it. This was strange considering we were at the property before their busy season.

Located two miles from BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK was a plus! My family enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Lots of gluten free options! Hotel was very quiet and clean. We had a room with two queen beds and there were double sinks outside the room with the toilet and shower. Rooms also have a microwave and refrigerator.

Location is great to Bryce Kanyon. Service is outstanding! Plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast is included and wonderful! Room is clean and spacious. My family really enjoyed staying in this wonderful hotel! We will come back again!

Just outside the park. Very quiet. Clean rooms and huge breakfast buffet with many hot options including French toast, pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, etc along with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads and pastries. No gluten free bread unfortunately.

There is a reason they're rated number one by TA. This is a newer hotel, nice rooms nice common areas. Excellent staff. I'm sorry the previous reviewer had problems, we did not have any at all. Soft but firm bed, thick towels. Lots of hot water. Good water pressure. Very clean. Hot breakfast a plus. Very good WIFI Internet. Good TV of lots of channels. Big refrigerator. True, no restaurant on site but many nearby. We recommend the Bryce Canyon Pines 5 miles down the road--#2 by TA for fresh homemade American food and Pies! BBQ and pizza in nearby Tropic town also.

I didn't like this hotel based on my experience & values etc. The Pros: the hot items in the buffet included breakfast were good, scrambled eggs, gravy & bacon, however the pre-made waffles were terrible as in not edible, imo. They passed out gloves at breakfast & we ate in our room which is what I (as a senior) personally was comfortable with. The room did have a microwave & refrigerator. The proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park is very close (2.9 miles) The Cons: When we were there the hotel did not appear to be full at all yet they put us in the back of the hotel where I did not feel safe. We were there during the off season in Feb of 2022. Even with the hotel appearing to be empty they put people in the adjoining rooms next to us on both sides. The people on the right were very loud, I could hear them talking & slamming doors. The people on the left had what sounded like a small dog which we heard barking a lot even though it's my understanding this is not a pet friendly hotel...? Due to the covid pandemic I did not ask to be moved because I had carefully cleaned my room before the “neighbors/guests” arrived and were assigned to the rooms directly next to us. I feel with covid on-going & to thus increase the safety & comfort of the guests they should space people out if they have the room which it appeared they did. They told us there was a back entrance which we could use to unload our suitcases but that the key may or “may not” work. The separate room for the toilet & tub/shower was quite small, poorly designed given the area where the sinks were was quite large. The TV display was very dark and we were unable to adjust the settings to view it properly. The hotel is somewhat older. While they offered breakfast, there were no options for dinner at this hotel & there were “very” limited options nearby. I would not stay at this hotel or in this town again, there simply are not enough options of places to dine or places to stay. Bryce Canyon National Park is of course beautiful to see but maybe as a day trip. Bryce Canyon City is simply not a good home base point in my opinion. It's population as of 2018 was 224 which may be why the city does not have very many amenities at all, something I should have more carefully looked into prior to booking. Given Zion is only approximately 75 miles away you may want to use that as your home base if traveling to Bryce Canyon National Park.

Very loud! I was so tired after driving and just wanted to go to sleep when I got to my room around 8:45 pm. First, the lady checking me in was very rude. When I would ask questions, she would give me one word answers with an attitude. I started to ask, if we were to want to stay tomorrow night as well...." She cut me off to say rudely, "You can't!" It was the tone more than anything. And it continued through the check in process. It was uncomfortable. The worst part though is that it was so loud!! I could hear the conversations of a family in the room next to me. they were having skittle competitions and yelling, etc. The teenage kids were in and out of the room with the door slamming and yelling in the hallways. The noise above me may have even been worse. It sounded as though our room was located directly below the hallway from the floor above us. The walking (and running!) was constant! there was no break in the noise which I found odd. Usually when someone is walking above you, you can hear the footsteps move from one side of the room to the other, with breaks. But this noise was constant until about 11 pm. Door closing loudly, etc. It was very frustrating. The breakfast was great however!! I will not be going back to this hotel.

There were very few guests staying at the hotel in this season so we had plenty of room and attention. The room had some damage to the bathroom floor but it did not diminish the overall experience. Overall it was a very nice stay.

This hotel is one of the best I've every stayed at! It was so clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying there to my closest friends or family members. The rooms are lovely and very roomy! They are clean, and well thought out. They offer a free breakfast each morning, and it is lovely. Tons of variety and always yummy! You won't regret staying at this beautiful hotel!!!!

Very nice and courteous staff, clean rooms , close to the entrance! Rooms were clean and check-in and check-out was super quick. Breakfast had lot of options and good quality ones. 5min drive to park entrance, highly recommend it!

After road-tripping all the way through Utah to get here, this was our planned stop for the night before visiting Bryce Canyon NP. What a great place! Friendly and courteous check-in. Clean and comfortable room. Great night of sleep. Great breakfast as well. The only reason we didn't give this place 5-stars was the price. It is definitely expensive. There are less expensive options nearby, but not sure they can compare to this Best Western Plus. We would recommend to friends and family.

This is a great place to stay in Bryce Canyon City. The hotel is just outside the park entrance. I had a peaceful stay, good breakfast and plenty of hot water for a post hike shower. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! One the best hotel stays we've ever had. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff here were AMAZING! Free breakfast is served hot every morning with super helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We only spent one night but the hotel was very nice and comfortable for our family. And very close to Bryce Canyon Park entrance. It was clean and we were able to have adjoining rooms which made the sty more convenient.

Very nice decor, lobby, breakfast, and amenities. The hotel is taking precautions for Covid which is reassuring, but still offering a great breakfast with lots of options. Location couldn't be more convenient to Bryce Canyon. Very helpful staff. Good value for the money.

Staying here was a great experience. We stayed for 4 nights. Our initial plan was for 2 nights. But since we could cover Capitol Reef in 1.5 days, we decided to move here 1 day before to enjoy the snow at Bryce. On our last day, we met with an accident (someone lost control of his car on icy roads and hit our car) - so, we had to extend by another night. Despite staying for so many days without any housekeeping (as per hotel management, it's due to shortage of staff), we enjoyed the stay. Whatever we needed was available when we called the guest service. Breakfast was great. And the hotel is nicely located. For dinner, we used to go to Ruby's Inn which is around 0.3 mile away. Only thing we didn't like as there were no separate trash bin for recyclable ones.

this room is giant and plenty of space for family of 5. Just outside entance to Bryce Canyon so can't beat the location. It's expensive for a Best Western but the location is golden. Sink area outside bathroom which is nice for traveling with 3 kids and vanity has 2 sinks, which we really appreciated. The breakfast is enormous and my kids loved it.

Post Christmas trip to Bryce Canyon. Hotel close to park entrance. Perhaps service is better during summer, but this location is at best “okay” in the winter. No restaurant service, inattentive staff.

Normally we try to stay inside any national park we visit, but sadly Bryce's lodge was closed when we wanted to visit in early December. But Best Western Plus (across the street from Ruby's) was a great alternative. It was very clean and quiet (much better than what I think we'd find at the park lodge) and the buffet breakfast had many choices and was perfect way to start the day. The park is a 5 minute drive away and fortunately with an Eagle Pass we didn't have to pay to enter the three times we visited. The downside to the hotel--at least in early December--is there's not much to choose from for restaurants. Ruby's across the street is passable but not great. But we fortunately discovered a great BBQ place in Tropic, about 10 minutes away that was worth the nighttime drive for dinner. As for covid policies, this hotel seemed far more careful than a Best Western Plus we stayed in in St. George. Most staff wore masks and at breakfast, an employee stood at the ready handing out plastic gloves to guests before they could enter the buffet.

We got to the hotel early and they were able to check us in early which was great. The hotel is a short drive to the Bryce Canyon entrance which was very convenient. It was also close to the town store. Although there seemed to be a good amount of people at the hotel, when in our room, you couldn't really notice any noise from the hallways or other rooms.

Nice hotel and staff. Good Hot breakfast, coffee, teas. We had mostly potatoes/ketchup, eggs and bagels as vegetarian options. Room: Heater was not working upon arrival and maint. guy tried hard but was unable to resolve whatever issue in our presence so they had us to switch rooms. Since property was pretty much booked we were moved to accessible room which i generally dislike as comfort is usually not same. Still it wasn't too bad so did not make an issue out of it.

The motel is clean and we requested a room away from the elevator , ice machine and no pet. The motel provided a quiet room and we slept well. The Breakfast was great and the price is O.K. Bed is soft and pillow is comfortable

I lost my airpod pros at the hotel. Lost and found were able to locate them and ship to me, I appreciate their honesty. This is the second time we stayed there and it's a great…close to Bryce and staff are very friendly.

This was my first stay in Best Western property and had amazing experience in many aspects, for ex. Check in , Lobby, Breakfast, Spacious Room, etc. Location is perfect for anyone, who is visiting Bryce Canyon NP.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Clean with Covid protocols, especially for the complimentary breakfast where you are given a disposable glove to wear. Tables are a bit closer than I would have like to have seen. Huge assortment at breakfast. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Well worth it!

My family stayed here recently and our last day we (with our 3 year old) past an employee of the hotel that yelled loudly and with a lot of anger "Go back to California. As@holes". Although we were within 10 feet of him he never looked us in the eye or would know that we were actually from California. He seemed to have some pent up anger and hostility toward Californians. We noticed a more international clientele at the hotel, but my guess is that people from California or visiting from California also visit that hotel and spend a lot of money at Ruby's and keeps him employed. We will not stay at this Best Western or others in the future.

This is very disturbing and I apologize that this happened. Could you contact the hotel? We would need more information to address the employee (area of the hotel where this happened, name of the individual if you have it, any employees that may a have witnessed this).

An hotel is not only the quality of the bed. Why I put 2 stars only : The Plus : - Large rooms, comfortable, bed of good quality (decoration really bleak) The Minus : - No sound insulation, very noisy : you hear the neighbor from above, from the side and from the corridor. - No Covid consideration : they cut expenses by not cleaning the rooms , but in the same time they don't offer a room service for the breakfast : this could be a good balance no ? to be honest I don't mind not to have the room done this was just to point out that Covid can be just an excuse if you read the following. The worse is that at the breakfast buffet you are not obliged to wear the mask while going to serve yourself, you have to wear a glove (hahaha), and the table are cleaned by the employee with a piece of cloth going around all tables without being washed in between. Of course, you can take the food and bring it to your room, but this doesn't avoid the other people to have cough on the food while serving themselves. Their argument is that it is not compulsory in the Utah…. Do you need to be obliged to have common sense and to respect your customers and their health ?

Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast, helpful staff. The room was very spacious, clean, and well decorated. The only complaint I can come up with (and this is being very picky), is that the bathroom door is blocked if someone is using the toilet.

I found some of the staff to be extremely rude. We were on our way out and I approached the breakfast area about 15 minutes before breakfast was set to start. I saw two people serving themselves breakfast and was simply looking for a plastic spoon. You would have thought I was trying to run past airport security! Before I could even get my question out this woman was yelling at me saying I couldn't come back there (never did I try to cross the barricade, simply said "excuse me, do you work here?" as didn't see a nametag or anything indicating they were staff). I did not appreciate being yelled at for asking a simple question. Would not recommend this location, other BW-Plus locations have been lovely.

Super nice hotel after a long day of hiking!! Breakfast had a HUGE selection with French toast, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, fruit, cereal, etc. Staff was friendly. It was a beautiful property and everything was extremely clean!! Highly recommended.

we were there for 3 days and this hotel is the best to stay close to bryce canyons. spacious rooms very clean hotel. staff very courteous smiling helpful. breakfast very good spread. they also gave each a box to fill whatever u wanted from breakfast spread. this is a very good thing. lovely ambience of the lobby. staff of front desk are just very good . theres a microwave refrigerator coffee maker all in the room. excellent location.. just the perfect place to stay in bryce. dont even think of anywhere else. best western has its class and stardard maintined at al, its locations even in sedona its very good. they keep all areas clean and feel fresh .

We had a beautiful ,new spacious room. Gracious staff manned the front desk. A wonderful breakfast was provided with careful pandemic precautions. The elegant hotel was a quiet, comfortable environment that was very convenient to the park and very affordable.

HUGE room with plenty of space for all your stuff! Beds, chair, desk, fridge, sofa, large closet, tons of lights, coffee maker. The morning breakfast buffet is GREAT (especially in Covid times) with eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, cereal, pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee etc…lots of restaurants in close proximity and super close to Bryce entrance.

Found the Hotel to be warm and inviting. Everything you want to see and expect to be in place was. fantastic staff and awesome breakfast buffet. Very happy with the stay and would highly recommend. Loved the lobby and overall appearance of the "open areas".

Facility was modern, room was large, and hotel was very convenient to town restaurants. Room very clean, despite limited maid service. Parking great. Lobby attractive and spacious. Heater/AC loud when cycling.

Booked Best Western Grand Hotel when a member of our party couldn't climb stairs. (We were going to stay in Bryce Canyon Sunset hotel, but no elevator for 2nd story). I am so glad we stayed at the Best Western. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. They have outlets by night stands for chargers. Bathroom setup so 2 people can use it and still have privacy. Free breakfast was awesome. It's buffet style and the food was very good. Plenty of comfortable seating too. Lobby is fabulous with large fireplace and comfortable seating. Check in and out flawless. This is a GREAT hotel.

We were told that our room would not have maid service during our 3-day stay due to COVID protocols, but we saw no other protocols in place. Staff was either unmasked or with only their mouth covered, not their nose. Breakfast room was very crowded. We were among the very few to wear masks.

The room is spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. So many places no longer offer hot food but they have a full spread. They provide gloves to serve yourself so everyone is not touching the utensils with there bare hands.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and offered a great breakfast! It was near the park but seemed quieter than other hotels in the area. The front desk people gave us a good recommendation for dinner. Everyone was kind and helpful.

We were thrilled with the location of the Bryce Canyon Best Western Grand Hotel, with such easy access to Bryce Canyon! The check-in went smoothly, and all staff were friendly and efficient. The complimentary breakfast had standard offerings, but everything was tasty and organized very well, and breakfast staff was great. The guestroom/bathroom setup were nice, and the soaps were awesome. We did have a few issues with our room - the bed was not at all comfortable, and the ac/heating unit didn't work properly. On a 55° day we had to turn our ac on to cool the room down. Even setting the heat at 68° our room was too hot. We would definitely stay at the BW Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel on any subsequent travels in the area.

We were very happy with this hotel. The rooms were very nice; and although they did not serve lunch or dinner in the dining room, a shuttle to Ruby's Restaurant across the highway was provided upon request. Also, the breakfast buffet was outstanding; and to boot, the hotel had washers and dryers which were very helpful since were at the end of this tour and had to fly in order to pick up another one.

Located right outside Bryce entrance, hotel is great but front desk clerk got several bits of information incorrect including days/times of restaurants in the area, location of nearby store and information about the park.

We arrived late - at midnight. The lady at reception had three different customers waiting on the couch for about 15 minutes to check in - although we were the only people in the lobby and they clearly were not busy. Once in the room, a couple of lights were not working, and the room looked "well worn". We changed from BW Ruby across the street and paid more for our room thinking this hotel would be much nicer. Maybe it was? The morning breakfast was good.

Great location, reasonable price. Breakfast was key as there are not a lot of places to eat around Bryce. Staff did an excellent job Hot tub and pool were clean and very appreciated after our long days hiking. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for a couple of nights while on a cycling tour of Southern Utah. While selection seems limited, the hotel was clean, well kept, and the breakfast buffet offered a great selection. There's not much to do in the evening...but it's less than a mile to Bryce Canyon National Park.

Our family spent one night here during our visit to Bryce Canyon. The hotel lobby was extremely inviting. Our guest room was spacious and we loved that the bathroom offered double sinks and a separate space for the shower and toilet. Our only criticism is that we found the decor in the room to feel dated and dark.

This was the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed at. It seemed to be a relatively new hotel and the lobby and breakfast area were very nice. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast quality was very good. Very good Covid protection measures.

We only stayed here one night on our road trip across Utah but we were very pleased with the experience. The hotel is walking distance to shops, food and ice cream which was a major plus. Also only a mere few minutes away from the national park which made getting an early start very easy! Plenty of parking. Only downside is breakfast didn't start until 6:30 which was too late for us getting an early start to our day of hiking. Very comfortable bed, plenty of plug-ins near the bedside table to recharge all the electronics before another day on the road.

The hotel takes advantage of its location, with not many choices in the area. The rooms need a refresh, particularly the bathroom tiled floor is dark tile with black grout that doesn't look clean. The breakfast buffet is good and gloves given to guests are a good idea. The breakfast staff were good.

Anyone who has ever visited Bryce Canyon will know that the choice of accommodations in the area is lacking. I can only imagine that is how this hotel manages to charge over $400/night for a two-star quality hotel. My room was not ready until after 4 pm. The front desk staff refused to send anyone for shampoo. The room has not been updated since probably the last century. The hotel walls are thin. On the plus side, the breakfast is good.

The rooms and facilities of this hotel are generally fine, but.... It clearly caters to big tour groups, so prepare to wait in line. Breakfast is mass humanity, not socially distanced...although the buffet food is good. Also, since they do not have freight elevators, when the buses arrive they commandeer the elevators so not one else can use them for a half hour or so while they deliver baggage....very annoying if you're on the 3rd or 4th floor! The staff trying to do their normal laundry service causes the same conflict.

Great place to stay. Room was clean. Staff responded to my inquiries immediately. They had daily warm breakfast. It included healthy and vegetarian options. They have shuttle option but we did not use it. Highly recommend to stay here.

There are 2 Best Western Plus hotels in Bryce - this one also has "Grand" in the name. The rooms are what you would expect - very nice, mini-frig, microwave. What makes it stand out is the incredible breakfast!! It would qualify as best breakfast ever even before Covid. Everyone is given plastic gloves to wear while helping themselves to a huge buffet; everyone has on a mask. Tables are spaced and cleaning is on-going. The food selections were many, varied, and covered every aspect of what might be served for breakfast. Staff was all very helpful and polite.

If you want to be close to Bryce Canyon, feel like you are in the west, and enjoy an excellent night sleep, then this is it!! We stayed here on our visit to Bryce Canyon and loved everything about our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the lobby and breakfast area is large and with a great western decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. This is definitely where we will stay next time. Thank you Best Western Plus!!

The Bryce Canyon entrance area is not a particularly nice one, with mediocre hotels/motels and fairly poor restaurants. Fortunately, this new hotel from Best Western raises the bar on the hotel side considerably, with clean spacious rooms, nice amenities, and a breakfast buffet that allows you to go into the park each day not needing to go elsewhere for a breakfast meal to start the day. You still have to deal with some other restaurant for dinner, though. The only complaint we had was a very loud air conditioner, but that's a small price to pay for having a good hotel in this area.

It's a relatively new hotel, built in the style of the National Park lodges with a towering lobby. The rooms are pleasant and well-kept. The hotel is right next to the Bryce Canyon entrance. There is a paved bike trail that goes right by the hotel, extending for miles within Red Canyon then on into the park to canyon overlooks. The staff were efficient and friendly. The room air conditioner was a bit loud.

"Featured amenities include ...A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours)." (from the hotel website) My wife and I took advantage of the free shuttle when we flew into Bryce Canyon airport. The next morning, we checked at the desk to get a shuttle back to the airport and the clerk told us the shuttle driver wouldn't arrive until 4pm!! We told him about the hotel's "24 hour" shuttle service, but he knew nothing about that, but he would see what he could do while we had breakfast. When we checked back, he said he would find a van and someone to mind the desk in his absence. 10 minutes later, he returned with a van and delivered us to the airport. Great service and initiative on the part of the clerk, but what poor training and communication on the part of management to advertise 24 hour shuttles, but not inform the employees of the service!

Likely the best hotel in the area. Could have been better, but the AC unit was rather loud when it kicks on (similar to other hotels with in unit systems) and there is a slight hum from the refrigerator. The hotel is newer than most in the area and the front desk staff was helpful. Good location.

Didn't disappoint, continued to meet my expectations of convenience, cleanliness, and great assistance with a terrific breakfast buffet. Restaurant for dining nearby plus easy access into park is a bonus.

Overall, the hotel was good, but not great. Pros: Very close to the entrance to Bryce Canyon. In the early morning, we were able to enter the park quickly and enjoy the morning sunlight on the Bryce Canyon spires. So beautiful! Also, make not mistake, this is a good hotel; Clean, a good bed, and comfortable. Cons: The seating in the dining room at breakfast did not seem arranged for Covid times. We were all too close to each other in line and while seated. While clean, the room and halls were a bit dated looking. The cons would not have bothered me very much except this hotel was kind of expensive. I expected more.

This hotel is the best in area, outside of staying in park at a cabin. Well maintained and fresh compared to Ruby's across the street and the one Bryce lodge next door. Breakfast was decent given covid times. They had potatoes with skins, eggs, two different meats a day, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, french toast then some cereals and pastries. Nice and quiet at hotel. Wish they had some type of beverage bar in the evenings to buy from other than the cold pepsi display type of thing. It would have been nice to have a drink(even hot chocolate, tea etc) after a long day of hiking in a common area by the fire place. My only issue, not a real issue is the bed was a little hard for my taste, but not horrible. Would totally stay again, so please don't let that dissuade you. We ate lunch in the park, and went to the town of Tropic for a dinner as well; don't feel limited to eating at Ruby's. We did have one fast food meal there, not the best but does the job.

Last minute decision to head to Bryce Canyon from Zion National Park and selected BW for our one night stay because we have grown to rely upon the consistent quality at BW sites. We made the right choice from the limited number of options in the Bruce Canyon area. Note that their are two BW hotels across the street from each other. Select the Grand Hotel - maybe a few dollars more but more like a Hotel as opposed to a Motel. Both facilities appear to be operated by same family.

We were choosing between the two Best Western hotels at Bryce, and glad we picked the “grand” one. Can't speak for the Rubys hotel, but this hotel was excellent. Very clean. Check in professional and efficient. Breakfast was the best we had the entire Utah trip. Many hot and cold options. They hand out disposable gloves to wear when going through buffet…love that! Large spacious room to eat in. Very pleased with choice.

It was hard to just give one rating because it was a nice place to stay but really it should be considering how much I had to pay. The good- The hotel is new and clean, the suites with 2 queens and sofa bed are large. There is a large laundry facility with 4+ W/D. It is close to Bryce Canyon everything else. The breakfast was delicious. Lots of choices snd everything fresh. The bad- there is only one elevator for each wing. There was always a line even when the hotel didn't seem busy because everyone wants to stay 6 feet apart. The room really needed a wall between the beds and sofa so younger kids can be put to bed earlier. And the vanity part of the bathroom needs a door so the light doesn't wake everyone up in the morning, the hotel staff made everyone put on cafeteria style plastic gloves at breakfast, it was weird and unnecessary, and actually gross. People can wash their hands. I'd rather a hotel person serve me if it's that big of an issue. The worst thing was the bill. One night was $320+ for my family of 6. The most expensive place we stayed during our 2 week vacation because Ruby's seems to have a monopoly on everything in town - even the restaurants.

Great hotel experience!!!! Amazing rooms, superb breakfast and friendly staff. We really liked the dual vanity in the room. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Our room had a nice view as well. The hotel overall was just really good. Super modern. Outstanding location to Bryce Canyon and the shuttle picks you up very conveniently. Easy access to everything in Bryce City. 10/10 would recommend and will stay again if we're ever back in the area.

It was easy to stay here. Convenient to Bryce. Nice complimentary breakfast. Felt safe in the era of COVID. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Big laundry room. Pool and hot tub were nice (although pool is smaller than appears in pictures).

I'm all for taking all the covid precautions. Vaccinations, masks, social distance, whatever we need to do. But I also believe in a fair price for for what you get. I just paid a premium price to stay here but, no housekeeping. Yes, I can make my own bed, but that's part of what I'm paying for and did they discount the price, no. Are they taking all the other covid precautions? No. No masks required. Breakfast will be served with no masks and no social distancing. Employees are walking around with no masks. Pool and hot tub is open.. To me, this is all to save a buck and it really makes me angry. At least give the guests the option of having housekeeping if they want it. Other hotels do.

My daughter and I stayed here to visit Bryce Canyon. The staff was so nice, the rooms were great and we really enjoyed our stay. It was so much better than the place we stayed in Zion. And Bryce itself is stunning.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Pretty pricey in my opinion but it was the nicest thing closest to Bryce Canyon. We had the suite which had a small sitting area which was nice. Otherwise, everything else was pretty standard. Room felt pretty dim when the drapes were drawn. We slept well on the beds, mostly because we were exhausted. They had quite a bounce to them and I was always worried I'd wake my spouse. The rooms weren't the most immaculate nor the best in cleanliness. We found hair in the usual suspected places (bathroom, sink, tub, etc..). However I have yet to come across a hotel spotlessly clean. The daily morning hot breakfast was nice and was served buffet style. With Covid I was worried, but they gave out plastic disposable gloves before you grabbed plates and went at it. For the most part, everyone adhered to it. Seating fell quite crowded at times and i found myself wishing I was seated further away from everyone. The fitness center consisted of two treadmills, an elliptical, a recumbent bike, dumbbells to 50lbs, workout bench, and a three station cable machine. I never used the swimming pool but it was frequently occupied. This hotel seemed more calm compared to the Best Western Ruby Inn across the street. We were definitely happy with our decision to stay here. Was I hoping for a little more? Yes. I was hoping for a little more niceness and luxury for the money. However, it wasn't horrible and I'd return if I visited Bryce again.

This best Western was one of the nicest hotels that we stayed in during our road trip. The breakfast was delicious the service was excellent and for an added bonus they had a laundry room which was very nice. The next time we're in this area we would definitely stay there again.

New, clean and great hotel. Pool was wonderful, staff was professional and friendly and we had a great time. At breakfast a staff memeber welcomed us warmly every morning, and when I needed something a staff memeber was able to help me. Recommend it strongly!!

We only stayed here one night and greatly enjoyed our stay. The hot breakfast option was great and the gloves that all guests were required to wear while getting food gave us some peace of mind. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The lobby is gorgeous. The hotel is much "quieter" than all the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants across the street at Ruby's Inn, but everything at Ruby's Inn is easily accessible for either groceries, dining, or shopping. Being really close to the park entrance was great too. Only downside was a group of teenagers being loud in the hallway around 11:00pm when we were trying to wake up at 5:00am to catch sunrise --- but that isn't really the hotel's fault and I can only imagine how loud things would be at Ruby's Inn based on our impressions after grabbing dinner there.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The free shuttle into the National Park stops in front of the door. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The common areas were spacious and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast buffet was really good. All in all this hotel is a really good choice .

Still a great hotel. Very short drive to the park. I was at the trailheads in 15 minutes. The rooms have a fridge and a microwave. Staff is very friendly. The pool area is perfect - there is also an outdoor hot tub. The general store across the street has many food options but is pricey. I brought a cooler with my own food. tip - pillows are pretty hard so if you like a soft flat pillow, bring your own. No big deal though - still slept well. I plan to return to Bryce and this hotel.

This property is above exceptional. The rooms were clean and up to date. The overall property was fantastic. The representatives were friendly and very helpful. Overall, this property sets the standards for all hotels. A standard that is never met as well as this property has met. Stay here when at Bryce Canyon area, you will not be disappointed.

Clean and big spacious rooms, good wifi, rooms have cofee tea, shampoo conditioner soap, mini refrigerator, breakfast is buffer and it's ok food, not the best, breakfast food is very cold though, pancakes were sooooo cold. Stayed here to explore the National park.

Hotel was right at the entrance to Bryce Canyon. Room was sparkling clean and Service was outstanding. Roomy, complimentary Breakfast was delicious and help went far beyond. Would highly recommend your stay here.

From everything I can tell, this is likely the nicest hotel in the area. We stayed in a Queen suite which was very large, modern, clean, and comfortable. The beds were just right, with some of the best pillows I've ever put my head on. Pool is typical for a mid-range hotel. The free breakfast here is among the best you'll find at any hotel. It's so good that apparently people try to sneak in from other hotels, because they check every guest that tries to enter the area. The only thing missing is a made to order omelette station. Other than that, they have every breakfast item imaginable. They also have a large seating area and plenty of staff busting their tails to keep the area clean and stocked. Location wise, it's back off the road a bit, so street noise is not a concern. The rodeo is across from the parking lot making it very convenient if you're there on one of the days it is open. Plenty of restaurants are close, and it's a very short, straight drive right into Bryce Canyon National Park. Negatives? Check-in could be more efficient. It's also priced fairly high, but with few lodging options this close to BCNP, that's supply and demand at work. That said, the hotel is very nice so it's hard to complain too much about the price. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Great spot right in the middle of Bryce Canyon, Utah. Breakfast buffet is plentyful & rooms are adequate, although pricing is a bit high for a Best Western. Location is perfect for the go-getters wanting to see all the nearby tourist attractions. All in all, a decent quick layover hotel. GetSome!!

Rooms spacious and functional but for price expected more comforts and amenities. No restaurant or lounge. Could have more areas to kick back and meet up and dated decor. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

There are not a lot of hotels in the area so I guess this hotel can get away with avoiding updating and maintenance. The rooms are dark. The bed was worn out and felt lumpy. The air conditioner struggled to keep a steady temperature. During the night, the room would get very hot before it would kick on again. Overall, the hallways and room just look dingy and feel stuffy. If returning to Bryce, I would try another option.

Bed was comfortable and room had all the required items, but a bit dated and dirty around the edges. But great location and on the shuttle stop to the park, so no driving needed, just show your park pass and hop on the shuttle. Breakfast was excellent. Could use a few more accessible outlets in the room.

This is generally a nice hotel located close to the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park. We stayed here for three nights. We initially arrived around an hour prior to check-in time so we thought we would stop by to see if we could check-in. Reception advised that our room was not ready and advised us to come back in one hour. We did just that only to find the room still not ready. We were told it would be ready shortly, so we waited in the lobby, but we ended up waiting for over an hour. Had we known it was going to take that long, we would have left and done something else in the meantime. When we finally reached the room, it was fine. The bed was very comfortable and featured a huge bathroom. The room was also larger than most hotel rooms, so we had room to spread out. There is no daily housekeeping service due to COVID. We understood and were fine with that. However, reception told us that any needed items for the room (towels, toiletries, etc.) could be requested, and these would be delivered to the room. When we made our first request, we only received some of the items we asked for, so I went to the lobby to get the rest of it. After making another request the following day, we discovered that nothing was delivered at all when returned to the room late in the afternoon. I then went downstairs to reception to report this. The items we requested were finally delivered but it took a bit of time for that to happen. My wife and I were both sweaty after being in Bryce Canyon but neither of us were able to shower as the towels we requested were not delivered while we were out. So, we had to sit in the room and wait for our towels. There is a full breakfast served each day. There were many items to choose from and these did not change. Guests are required to wear plastic gloves which are provided upon entry. However, no masks were required which we thought was a bit odd considering how COVID is spread. The breakfast room was quite large with plenty of seating. The buffet was kept well stocked. The hotel is a short drive from places to eat. There was ample parking here. We noticed that the hotel is used by bus tours for overnight stays. That sometimes made reception and the breakfast area quite crowded. Overall, a good stay but attention to detail by the staff would have made the stay that much better. I understand that COVID caused the issues we encountered here. But a Best Western we stayed at nearby prior to this visit, had no restrictions at all. Despite our issues, I would recommend staying here. Hopefully, the COVID restrictions will be removed soon.

Not a lot of options in Bruce canyon, so a five star here is not a five star in a big city. None the less, room was clean, nice breakfast, pool area etc. just what you need after hiking in the canyons. And located right outside the park entrance. Good location.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus. It was close to the park, had a good included breakfast and was nicely maintained. The on-site laundry facility was helpful when you're doing so much hiking. The location was good for both getting to the park and for going to Tropic for restaurants. Would very much recommend this hotel.

We will stay here again! Friendly staff, large rooms, breakfast included, shuttle stop to Bryce NP. Our room was huge and we loved the huge bathroom. The double sink vanity is separate from the shower and toilet. The breakfast buffet offered many choices. The pool courtyard is quaint and offers a nice outdoor area to relax.

The room was super clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I've ever enjoyed. Perfect location to visit the park. Shuttle stops right at hotel! Restaurant and shops within walking distance. Great pool and hot tub, in a comfortable settings.

We spent a night at this hotel when visiting Bryce Canyon, and it was a big disappointment. The hotel has nice deco and front desk staff was professional. I was glad I picked the right hotel until it was bed time. The sheets had cookie crumbs and sands on it. Obviously someone made the bed without changing sheets after the previous guest. After calling front desk they offered to move us into a vacant room across the hallway. We were on a 12 day road trip so had a lot of luggage. We got dressed, packed our stuff into suitcases, and moved into the new room. Well, this room had no cookie crumbs but it had sands and hair on sheet. The hotel management has serious work to do to fix their housekeeping. When I spent $200+ for one night I should at least get clean bed sheets. I reported this to the hotel management.

A very nice , modern and comfortable hotel close to the Park's entrance. The lobby was spacious and uncrowded. We stayed on the fourth floor. The rooms were nice and up-to-date, frig and coffee machine. Beds were comfortable and good a/c and heat. The staff was pleasant and efficient when we ordered extra blankets. There is a gym and an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Included in the price was a full breakfast buffet which was ample and very good. We stocked up for our hikes and were given carry out containers - nice. The one drawback was the lack of dining facilities (other than the morning buffet). For that, we had to drive to its sister hotel, the Best western Ruby's Inn. (Pls note that we stayed at the BW Plus Grand). The cost of our stay was expensive and not the greatest value but that was the market price in May 2021 but it was well worth it for us. Highly recommended.

Best Western Hotels have a very basic reputation but this one is exceptional. I guess the BW Plus line of hotels is the upscale version. This hotel was the best in the Bryce Canyon area and conveniently located next to Ruby's Restaurant - great buffet! The only thing that bothered us was that the breakfast buffet is only open until 9:30am and we almost missed it. (The night front desk told us 10am). Wifi is wonderful- nice change to non-existent in national parks-especially Zion Lodge. Room and bathroom were very large and clean.

Really enjoyed the quality of the hotel. Breakfast exceptional. Close to Bryce Canyon. Great laundry facility. Very clean. Parking was easy and convenient. Staff were friendly. It's literally a 5 min drive to Bryce Canyon National Park.

We paid $350+ just for an overnight stay and we were VERY DISAPPOINTED with the NOISE THE AIRCONDITIONING and WITH THEIR HALF PILLOWS. We were not able to rest after hiking at BCNP. If you plan to stay in this hotel, bring your own pillow because they will just provide you throw pillows.

By far our favorite hotel while visiting the mighty 5. Friendly staff, clean room, and we loved the buffet. Full of choices. Hotel was close to the visitor center, restaurants and gas station. Bryce was a short drive away.

This hotel is spacious, clean, and convenient to Bryce. We received a good hot breakfast at a buffet, with excellent staff. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our tour of the Utah National Parks, this was our favorite. Parking is ample and about 5 minutes to the Bryce entrance. Across the street is Ruby's Inn, with restaurants and shops. There you will find a variety of food and large general store with upscale souvenirs and even groceries.I highly recommend a stay here!

Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Included a microwave and a mini fridge. Great location just outside of Bryce Canyon National Park. Full breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise, and appropriate Covid precautions were taken.

We stayed at the BW Plus Bryce Canyon Grand for two nights - Saturday and Sunday - and were very happy with this hotel. Check-in was easy, and they provided us with a list of local restaurants. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, although the bed was a little too soft for me. I liked that the bathroom had a separate room for the toilet and bathtub/shower, and a double sink in the other part of the bathroom. There was pool area and hot tub in the middle of the building, but we didn't use it. Overall, the hotel felt very new and updated - the lobby was gorgeous with comfortable seating and a large brick fireplace. Breakfast was a small hot buffet - they gave you plastic gloves to wear when getting the food, which was a great idea. You could eat in the dining room, or they had take-out containers to bring your food back to your room, which we did. The staff all wore masks, and the guests pretty much did but not always. The hotel is only a few miles from the entrance to Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again!

I understand that the hotel industry has had a difficult time over this past year, haven't we all; so I was quite surprised at the room rate of $225/night during the week, but went ahead and booked 2 months in advance and had great expectations as to what we would experience at $225 per night. Upon Arrival I was greeted as if I was an off the street customer, and not a frequent user of BW, no free $0.50 water or $0.25 cookie. Nonetheless, we went to our $225/night room and found our room air-conditioned was a leftover WWII fighter engine that rumbled all the while it was on trying to cool the top floor room. Next we discovered that we had been assigned a connecting room with a total stranger, which would not be much of a problem, but the hotel was at best 60% capacity. Why would we stuff everyone to the same floor and room to room just coming out of a year of covid-19 confinement? Positive comments goes to their Breakfast, which contained of a will controlled buffet of food and drinks in their dining room, the staff, other that the front desk were very respectful and helpful, thus keeping their rating from me above 3 out of 5. Location is excellent and close to all your needs.

I stay stay at a lot of BW. I am not nit picky. There are limited accommodations in the area so the rates are high. Front desk staff were not very welcoming. One provided misinformation and another was outright rude. Best part of the stay was the full buffet breakfast. Guests had to wear masks and gloves due to COVID. It was strange that breakfast could be served, but not lunch or dinner?? I would check other accomodations in the area.

Hotel was very lovely and the staff were exceptional. Room was everything that we expected. The area around Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel is beautiful. With our next trip into this area we will be returning to this hotel.

Our spacious room was clean, quiet and comfortable. They were able to put us in a room even though it was before normal check in. The breakfast was very good and everyone was supplied with gloves so the buffet was safe. They also had containers for take out.

Great location very close to Bryce Canyon National Park. The junction of Hwy's 12 & 63 (the entrance road to Bryce Canyon) is under construction, it's one way so depending on traffic you will wait 20 - 45 min (we turned the car off waiting). We were very glad we stayed close to the park. The downside is that restaurant choices are very limited. We had dinner at Ruby's (ok) and breakfast at the hotel (the buffet is back with a scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, yogurt, bananas, cereal, etc). Overall we found the hotel quiet, clean and comfortable.

Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel offers an excellent location for your stay at Bryce Canyon! Either take the shuttle from the hotel or drive your own car in to the park. The hotel also offers a great huge breakfast buffet included with your stay!

The room was very clean. The lobby and staff were inviting. The breakfast was delicious. The country show at The Ebenezer restaurant next door was a nice treat with great food! I would definitely stay here again if I'm headed to Bryce Canyon!

There aren't a lot of nice hotel options in the area, so I was really happy with our choice to stay here. Great location - only a few miles down the road from the park. We loved the outdoor jacuzzi in the evening (the pool was closed). The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We were pretty impressed with the hot breakfast in the morning. Buffet style with gloves, and staff providing your drinks including bottled water we took for the road. Great food selection and quality, lots of seating. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel is either new or newly renovated. They had made an effort with an attractive lobby and nice artwork on the walls. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff at check in were very helpful. Excellent breakfast, buffet style but requiring masks, distancing and plastic gloves. A reasonable price, considering that there was not much choice close to Bryce Canyon. I would stay there again!

....if you don't mind the constant sound of flushing toilets and draining water. . Look, the people who work there did a great job in a friendly way: reception, kitchen, housecleaning. So no complaints But the place is so ugly and cheaply built it quickly gets on your nerves. Paper thin walls. Grounds are almost completely asphalt. No places to sit outside and enjoy the views or the fresh air. It's an ok place for one night max.

Our room was clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed (many convenient details were a plus). The hotel was clean and BW took great care to implement safe COVID practices. The full buffet was good (had to wear masks, use disposable gloves while going thru the line, all beverages were dispensed by employees, and tables were spaced apart and kept clean.

there are 2 best westerns right across each other at this location. i chose this as reviews suggested this was newer and cleaner. I was happy with the space in the rooms, rooms were clean. all the amenities were available. no complaints at all and i would stay here again. just down the street from byrce canyon. the main advantage with staying at bryce canyon lodge is the ability to walk to the rim to see sunrise/sunset . however teh drive to sunrise/sunset point etc is very easy. the park is 5 min down the street. we had all our breakfast /lunch supplies as we had a campervan. however, the breakfast was much better handled during covid. they offered the ability to do a "take out".

We stayed here while visiting Bryce Canyon. Perfect hotel! Very clean and nice rooms. Excellent breakfast and employees! A shoutout to Christian Coleman who is an outstanding employee! There is a shuttle to the park that stops directly in front of hotel. Will stay here again.

My family of four (kids age 13 and 10) booked a double queen suite for one night visiting Bryce Canyon. It was nice to have the extra room, although the sofa sleeper was pretty uncomfortable for my 10 year old - although that's our typical experience. The decor of the rooms is basic but fine. Beds are somewhat comfortable. I wish they would enforce mask wearing in public areas. We were impressed by the breakfast. They did require masks and gloves at breakfast and it's a really decent breakfast for one included in our stay.

Stayed at this hotel for one night in two 2-queen connecting rooms on the top floor. Those were our specific requests and after calling the hotel the morning we were checking in, they were happy to accommodate them. The rooms were enormous. There are double sinks in the bathroom and the shower and toilet is in its own separate room. Microwave and refrigerator were nice. Rooms were quiet; did not hear anyone on either side of me even though the hotel was sold out.The breakfast buffet was really great, particularly in the time of coronavirus. A huge selection including eggs, potatoes, fruit, pastries, etc. The outdoor pool was closed being April but the hot tub was open and many people were using it. The laundry facilities were excellent. Bring lots of quarters so you don't have to stand in line to ask for a change from the front desk. Having a change machine in the laundry room would help that situation. Go across the street to the Ruby‘s Inn General Store to buy groceries or an expensive meal to heat up in your microwave. The hotel is a short drive to Bryce Canyon which was absolutely spectacular and a highlight of our Utah trip. Do the mule ride if you can. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Only minutes away from Bryce Canyon national park, it's the one if the largest lodging facility that outside Bryce. Guest room is spacious and clean. We especially like the breakfast, it has a lot of protein choices which fills us up until later afternoon.

I expected to like this hotel. We were coming from an excellent experience with a Best Western in Springdale. Issues with the hotel and with it's COVID safety protocols earned this location a low ranking. From check in on there was a clear lack of concern or adherence to COVID safety protocols. There were guests entering and checking in without masks. There were guests walking the halls without masks. At the BW affiliated shop at Ruby's across the street there was almost no mask usage. Staff masks were pulled down and noses were on full display. At the breakfast the staff had masks mostly properly worn, but large numbers of guests were sitting and eating at tables in close quarters in the breakfast area. We ate in our room, but still had to face this potential exposure to get our food. If I got COVID on my travels I'll give even odds that it happened at this hotel. The room itself was clean, but unattractive. The shower did not drain well. The heating/cooling system did not work well. The room was always too warm. The beds were not comfortable. One more note on breakfast - the buffet line had multiple tip jars leading me to believe that the hotel does not pay its employees well. The only plus the hotel offers is location. It's a short easy drive to Bryce Canyon NP.

Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We are making efforts to continue to make every effort to follow current guidelines. Utah rescinded the mask mandate on the 10th and we are still requiring masks but some guests have been confused. We have added more signage with reminders to distance and that masks are still required. I apologize that we did not meet your expectations during your stay.

We spent 3 nights here, nice clean king room, comfortable bed, great bath/shower, quiet room on 3rd floor, all the tv channels you need. COVID has made all food service less than optimal but they did it well, buffet but with mandatory mask/vinyl gloves, basic, decent hot breakfast sit down or take out. Mid April pool not open but we could have used the pool at Ruby's,(same owner) across the highway. Dining options are poor in this immediate area, Ruby's or Ruby's none of which appealed. Several miles up the highway we dined at The Pines, much better choice.

The property is well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite, the room was a comfortable size for two adults and two children, with plenty of seating in the room. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the towels were nice. The bathroom had double sinks which made getting ready in the morning less hectic than one sink. The room was clean and the water was hot, we had no complaints. The hot breakfast was good and had a fair variety of items. The juice tasted watered down, I think it was fruit punch. I Will definitely stay here again next time we visit Bryce Canyon.

The hotel looks great from the outside but then you get to the room no hot water terrible water pressure can't turn the heat off the remote isn't work the room smelled strange the beds where very uncomfortable and the night staff couldn't care less

We were extremely happy with our stay. Our room was very clean, the staff was kind and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from, and our kids were thrilled that the hot tub was open. Thank you for a great getaway Best Western Plus!

Breakfast was top notch. The Location was perfect for park access. Rooms were clean and accommodating. Beware there is an older BW across the street with a nice restaurant. The flat iron steak is a great choice

This hotel initially surpassed my expectations. Newer property that gives a very good impression initially upon walking in. Staff was friendly and it seemed like all Covid precautions were in place. Room was a very good size and clean. I loved the large double sinks in the bathroom. Everything would have been perfect until it came to breakfast. The buffet breakfast was set up perfectly to be Covid safe with plexiglass covering the food and employees serving it. The problem was that two of their employees were not wearing their masks properly. One young woman had her mask completely off and a young man had his completely below his nose. I later saw them walking around the hotel with their masks the same way. I did inform the front desk and they said they would talk to them. Otherwise, I would have given this hotel a perfect score. There were also guests that did not wear masks in the halls but the hotel staff can't be everywhere to enforce this.

I gave it a 4 star because weren't able to use the outdoor pool because it was closed. The room was a little outdated. I was expecting more for the price I paid than Ruby's Inn (they are sister co of Best Western and they are located across the street). The staff was very accommodating to our requests and friendly. Overall the stay was great, the hotel could be better. The location was excellent, very close to Bryce Canyon Park about 5 min drive.

We chose this hotel based on its proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park. I did not know what to expect given the limited options and previous negative experiences with Best Westerns. However, this was a great hotel, and I could have stayed longer. Starting with the positives: 1. Location: This hotel is only about 5 minutes from the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park and is located on the main road. In the off-season, most restaurants are closed, but there was one open at the Ruby's Inn across the street. Since there were no delivery options available, we ordered takeout from the restaurant across the road, one of the only options in this area. 2. Service: The staff were friendly, and check-in was painless. 3. Room: We reserved a two-queen suite on the ground floor, and despite the location of the room (which is convenient for many), the accommodations were impeccable. The suite had a small seating area with a sofabed, two armchairs, desk, microwave and mini-fridge, and a bathroom with two sinks outside (extremely rare in a hotel of this class). It was also immaculate and aced the "white sock" test. Typically, rooms on the main level near the lobby can be noisy, but that wasn't the case here. We did not hear any commotion from the room, and I could hardly tell it was on the first floor. 4. Breakfast: Many hotels' free breakfasts leave a bit to be desired with COVID, offering a limited to-go bag or only one hot item. The Best Western Plus, in contrast, provided a huge hot breakfast with multiple hot foods -- a nicer spread than many properties had before the pandemic. The employees served scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, French toast, cereal, and fruit. Everything tasted great. 5. Other Facilities: The outdoor pool was closed for the season when we stayed, but their hot tub was open. They also have a fitness center and a large guest laundry room. Normally, I have a list of drawbacks, but I could not think of any. The decor here is modern and beautiful, and the property has the feel of an upper-class hotel. I cannot emphasize this enough: if you need lodging here, look no further than this hotel.

The hotel offered free breakfast. It has a gym with all of the necessary equipment. There was a water station to fill up your water bottles before your hike, which was a nice touch. The hotel staff was friendly.

The hotel itself and room was very nice and clean. The reason for only 3 stars is the noise. We were on the bottom floor and heard everything in the room. Every footstep in the room above us was heard. You could hear every time someone flushes the toilet in any room nearby and even the water running through the pipes. You even hear the footsteps of people walking normally in front of the room. If someone burped in their room across the hall guess what? We heard it. With no sound proofing whatsoever, we were awoken many times throughout the night.

Very beautiful and clean establishment. Very impressed with all aspects of the hotel. I would certainly stay there again. The proximity to everything is fantastic. The staff was very nice and ready to assist in any needs.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was well executed and good. I appreciated the staff and the overall experience here. With Covid precautions in place they were fantastic. I highly recommend.

I had an issue with my reservation and the hotel staff were so kind and made everything got set straight. The hotel it's self is a very nice stay with good wifi and right outside the National Park making it super convenient to be in the park for sunrise and stargazing!

In the winter, the lodge is closed and you can't stay inside the park, but this hotel is less than a five minute drive away. It's mid-range motel-style accommodations, but rooms are in good shape and spacious. Service is very helpful and informative, front desk staff know the area and gave good recommendations. What's different during COVID: No room cleaning (this is everywhere, not just here). Breakfast is still a buffet, but staffed by attendants who plate food for you. Given what American hotel breakfasts are like (usually pre-made and starchy) this one is pretty good.

Hotel location is great for visiting Bryce Canyon. Breakfast was very good considering Covid limitations. Very good service and good internet connection. The room was little bit loud due to the refrigerator operation, but it should be possible to switch it off.

Location, location, location. Only reason to stay at this Best Western is that it is so close to the entrance of the park. We arrived in the afternoon, and were able to do the scenic drive through the park (then returned the following day for hiking in to the park). It is pricey, there is nothing else around either. Restaurants are scarce (they own Ruby's so are pushing that restaurant but we went to next town, a ways away for dinner). Rooms were clean; breakfast was provided.

We've stayed at the BCGH several times over the years because the price is right for everything that is included and the staff have always been pleasant to work with......especially Chrisette. Rooms are clean and everything works as it should. Bryce Canyon is the most amazing place on Earth, so staying at a nice hotel just makes sense!

This is one of the single worst hotels in the country, it is absolutely terrible. Where to begin. The staff is completely unpleasant and unfriendly. A check-in and check-out process that should take minutes will set you back 15 minutes minimum... the lay-out of this hotel is a disaster... the elevator banks are not located near any entrance and the hotel staff is just unavailable to guide you to the proper entrance. Now to the rooms. The rooms are decorated in early 1980s crap.... the beds are garbage, the rooms are given a once over but are simply not clean, especially for the COVID-19 era standards. Its just not a quality hotel by any sense of the word. The breakfast is an absolute social distancing disaster. What should be a grab and go set-up is actually nightmare scenario where the staff is ENCOURAGING guests to sit down and interact with other guests... the servers scoff at proving to-go containers of food saying "you should sit down here and eat." The lack of awareness of the Global Pandemic is just mind blowing. Calling this place grand is a joke. Ruby's Inn across the street has always been known as one of the worst hotels in the nation, but this Best Western is giving it a run for it's money. Please avoid this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel during the President's Day weekend. The hotel was in a perfect location and extremely clean. The staff went above and beyond and were very helpful and curteous. We were nervous to travel because of COVID but all of our fears were relieved. The breakfast was delicious and served cafetieria style (you pick the food and staff put it in a container) and you could take it to go to your room or out of the hotel. It was a great food load up before a day of hiking. I highly recommend this hotel at Bryce.

My hubs and I spent 3 nights here on our first trip to Bryce. We stayed in a suite, and it was beautiful and spacious! Loved having a table in the room at which we could eat our meals. Also appreciated the manner in which breakfast was modified for Covid - still available, but served instead of self serve, and available to go if that was your preference (we did to go).

Do not stay at this hotel if you have any concerns about contracting Covid. The employees walk around with masks under their chins. I contacted Best Western who said they would have the manager call me. That never happened. A couple of hours after making he call, I went downstairs to purchase a coke from the front desk staff. There were two clerks sitting between a woman who appeared to be a manager. Both clerks had their masks under their chins. When I pointed out that they should have their masks over their mouths, the manager pointed to the 2 1/2 foot high sheet of plastic between us. Really? It appears that she thinks that will stop transmission of the virus.

The hotel was the best motel outside a national park that I have stayed at. There is a hot breakfast (served cafeteria style by the staff). The breakfast was superior than what I ate at a Marriott and Comfort Inn pre-COVID era. I was able to exchange towels and empty the trash by checking in with the cleaning staff (wearing mask) during COVID. There is a "huge" hot tub open during the winter. The pool was closed in January. There is a patio with a gas fire heater. You will find their outdoor store renting ice skates, hiking gear, and bicycles. I recommend you rent the devices you attach to your boots/shoes. You will need to grip the muddy/rocky soil when you walk the trails. There is a cafe and restaurant across the street.

This is the second time I have been to this hotel and was very pleased both times. The rooms are spacious, updated and comfortable. The hotel gets an A for being COVID friendly. The breakfast was buffet style, but servers served you what you requested. Of course, the downside to a buffet is old/cold food from being in the bins. But, the eggs were always warm. There was no variety, the same food choices every day. Staff was very friendly. One thing I found odd was their lack of garbage removal and recycling. We had a bunch of bottles for recycling and there was no options to recycle (we asked and was told there wasn't any). Also, the garbage can outside the side door, where we went in and out, had not been emptied the three days we were there. So, we and other people left garbage in bags/boxes alongside the can. It was still there when we left. But, this would not stop me from staying here again. I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel located just minutes from Bryce Canyon! The lobby is nice and cozy with a fireplace and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is super good. Best breakfast I've seen since Covid. It was a buffet but they served you. The food way great! I would stay here again in a second! I highly recommend this hotel.

Good for value type of hotel with comfy rooms. It has a bit of a dated feel to it, but the rooms, lobby and breakfast area are big. It was nice to have a hot breakfast with a lot of choices in these times.

This hotel is very close to Bryce. We had a large suite room which was nice. This hotel needs to be updated. The carpet in our room was ripped in several places and the decor needs a refresh. In addition, this room bothered my husbands allergies greatly. Breakfast was excellent and followed COVID guidelines well. I chose this hotel over the Ruby's Inn BW because I thought it would be the nicer pick. I'm not certain I was right. I would not stay here again unless they do some updating.

I stayed here twice in December for 2 nights each time. Once early Dec and then again the last week of Dec. Both times I was on the top floor and found my room very quiet - never heard others. The beds in both rooms were comfortable, the room and bathroom was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. When the heater in my first room didn't work, I called the front desk and a maintenance guy came and diagnosed the issue immediately and returned less than 5 minutes later with the wire to fix it - can't ask for better response than that! The coffee and breakfast were also very good which I honestly wasn't expecting! Lastly, the location is wonderful, just outside Bryce Canyon National Park - super convenient for sunrise and sunset photography, which was my purpose. We also liked that they had a filtered water bottle refill station near the lobby, though I also thought the water in the room was very tasty and that says a lot because I normally think water out of the sink tap tastes bad.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. Stayed here on our visit to Bryce Canyon NP. This is perfectly located just a few minutes from the park. We were there in the midst of the pandemic and the hotel was so clean and sanitary. Even in difficult times, the staff always had a smile on their faces, while doing their best to ensure everyone's safety. We had a 2 queen bed suite with sofa bed and it was large and comfortable enough to accommodate our family of 4. Would absolutely stay here again!

There is nothing crazy or special about this place, but this hotel is clean, quite and has everything you need to enjoy and relax. Friendly stuff will help you to have good experience. And breakfasts are very good

We stayed at this hotel during a trip to Bryce. The amenitites at this hotel far exceeded our expectations and made the stay that much nicer. We stayed in a King Suite which was so large and had everything we needed (large bathroom, living space, table for four, frig, etc). They had a good laundry room, a really large hot tub so two families could enjoy at the same time, and the hot breakfast buffet was both tasty and very safely prepared. They had so many employees on hand that the process was super smooth and efficient. All in all, the hotel made a great stay at Bryce really nice and comfortable.

A great experience. Hotel is fairly new, in very good shape, nice furnishings. Breakfast was good during the odd Covid times. Room was a VERY large suite. Plenty of parking and easily accessible just outside of Bryce Canyon National Park Totally recommend.

Everything was perfect. I was especially happy that it was a real breakfast. Due to COVID, or so they say, most other hotels offer very cheap breakfast, but this hotel had a delicious, full breakfast.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay in a hotel that exceeded our expectations. Rustic decor is perfect for the location, yet hotel is modern with all the amenities one would expect. Definitely would come back again and consider BW for future stays.

This hotel is the best option at Bryce but it is beginning to show its age with some tattered furniture. Room lighting was very poor. Breakfast good even in the pandemic. Billing error was fixed promptly.

This is a really nice hotel, and the lobby is particularly impressive. Our room was huge - we had a separate sitting area, and I really liked that we had a mini-fridge. I also appreciated how the hotel handled COVID in terms of breakfast. They still served hot breakfast but instead of everyone serving themselves they had staff serving guests as everyone moved through the line. It all felt very safe and hygienic (and the breakfast spread was really good). On the downside, this isn't a comment on the hotel but its setting - be aware that while the town of Bryce is just minutes from the park entrance there isn't much there in terms of restaurants. We were there in October 2020 and only found one restaurant in town with a dine-in service (during COVID at least). The only other open restaurant was take-out only, and this hotel does not allow you to bring food into your room. Your options if you get take-out are thus to either eat in your car or the lobby.

We stayed a BWP for two nights while visiting Bryce Canyon NP. The property seems dated and the elevators were very slow, so we used the stairs most of the time. Also the layout of the property is quite strange and confusing, took a little bit to figure it out. Breakfast was just okay but can't really expect much during the pandemic. The best part is the hotel location is very convenient- only 5 minute drive to the park entrance.

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice our room was. It was very large, clean, comfortable and up to date. Big bathroom with double sinks! The breakfast, even during covid, was good with a nice variety. I would highly recommend staying here.

Despite COVID, the breakfast buffet at this hotel was awesome! Hotel patrons social distanced in line and were served by hotel employees. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast, pancakes, Waffles, muffins, yogurt, juice and more!! Lots of table space available. We had a very large room with 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The bathroom area had 2 sinks separate from the toilet and shower. This was very convenient for our family of 5. Could still have multiple people get ready at the same time, lots of counter space.

We don't usually stay at Best Western's because I think of them as an older chain, so I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. HUGE room, double sinks/vanity located outside the bathroom. Requested top floor when I booked, but was told none available at check-in so, of course, we could hear people walking above but otherwise the room was very nice. Breakfast was a hot buffet served to you by employees. Better than many free continental breakfasts. We only stayed one night so didn't spend much time at the hotel or interacting with staff. Bryce Canyon City is VERY small and is right outside Bryce Canyon National Park making this hotel's location great if you're visiting the Park.

Absolutely unacceptable! Front desk clerk not wearing a mask while reception hall full of guests all wearing masks. Absolutely unacceptable and goi g against Best Western's pledge. 11/25/2020 Stay away!

Spacious rooms, friendly staff, fine amenities, good breakfast. Certainly recommend this hotel for a stay near Bryce Canyon. Good restaurants nearby. If we will come back to this area, we'll definitely stay here again

Wife and I stayed there two nights while we went to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. Room was very nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Very good hot breakfast. Large parking lot. If you're going to Bryce Canyon, I highly recommend staying here.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Beautiful hotel, comfy bed. Due to Corona virus, they wouldn't clean our room on the second day, which was fine with us. They left us clean towels by our door in case we needed them. Loved the huge stone fireplace in the lobby. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and having a glass of wine after a long cold day of hiking. The staff was very friendly, We didn't see any guests or staff without masks. It was nice having a hot buffet breakfast included. We were served by waiters behind a plastic barrier. Be careful if you stay during the off-season. Most restaurants are closed. Hotel is a short drive to the Bryce Canyon NP. Highly recommend this property.

The hotel is a 4 minute drive from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National park. It's not on a busy road so in a good location. We selected the BW because it had a refrigerator and microwave so we could feed ourselves. Upon entering the huge lobby there was a sign on the door that said masks were required. Over to our right was a couple playing games without masks on. I thought to mention it to the staff, but then was greeted by a staff member not wearing a mask. Two other staff members were wearing masks. Utah was in the middle of the big fall spike of Covid cases, it didn't make sense. We hurried to our suite which required riding an elevator and walking down a hallway. In general most guests and staff did wear masks during our stay and were good about only entering an elevator if it was empty. Our suite was clean, roomy, and comfortable and served our purposes. For a BW it was pretty good, they just need to take their own policies seriously.

The hotel is close to the park. Not sure the room was completely cleaned, as there was some liquid all over the ceiling. Towels not where they should have been placed. Hand towels in the room by the shower. The bath towels in the room by the sinks. Staff upon check in was in a bad mood. Breakfast was ok and staff was friendly.

I went on vacation with my friends to Bruce canyon. We stayed a total of two nights. The lobby was gorgeous and had a cabin feel to it. The room was decently sized with separate sinks from toilet and shower. That was very convenient. Overall good experience.

When you live on the east coast it is hard to get used to the expanse of Utah! This hotel is near the park and near a few other hotels, restaurants and shops. We came in November so many shops and restaurants were closed. The front desk had a listing of restaurants open and nearby! This hotel was very clean...warm and inviting!!! It was very Covid prepared!!! We had never stayed at a Best Western Plus and were Extremely surprised and delighted!!! Clean. Comfortable, decorated nicely! Would definitely stay again!!!

We stayed at the newer Best Western Plus. There is also a Ruby's Best Western in town. Nice sized room which was very clean. The bed was on the firmer side. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly.

We spent two nights in the Best Western Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel. It was very nice stay. The hotel was spacious, comfortable, and the location was very convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park. The hotel has interesting decor with western theming and a nicely decorated lobby. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good especially given the current covid-19. There were fresh eggs available each morning along with a variety of other common breakfast items. We did experience some noise from the people in the room above us at night. That was a bit annoying but not terrible. The hotel would benefit from better room insulation. Overall, the Best Western Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel is a good choice for anyone looking for a place to stay at Bryce Canyon National Park.

This hotel exceeds all others in the cleanliness category. The staff were always busy wiping surfaces, disinfecting and cleaning floors. The free hot breakfast with the takeout option was a bonus as well. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Every expectation of perfection was pleasantly achieved. REAL breakfast (not yogurt and twigs). Staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Facility was new and updated. Great exercise facility. Wife broke ankle on first hike after check in. Sort of locked in room after that but was able to experience a level of service that most people do not know exists. I would go out of my way just to stay here again. Thank you

Located a mile or so from the Bryce Canyon Park entrance and right across the street from Ruby's restaurant and a couple other little stores. The hotel is nothing special but the breakfast was pretty good- much more than the typical covid prepackaged junk you see these days. Hot cakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, cereal, pastries, coffee, tea, water, etc. All in all, great value for the location.

The staff here was great. Didnt deal personally with to many other than the receptionist due to Covid. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast was great considering all of the covid restrictions. Not a much as far as lunch and dinner goes around the town. If only they served dinner at the hotel we would have done that.

We stayed here due to location and price. It was a great location to get to Bryce Canyon NP in just minutes. We did not take advantage of the buffet breakfast in order to stay distanced from people though it looked like the tables were spaced out. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

I completely recommend staying at this location! It was not only welcoming and warm, but it was also very accessible to Bryce Canyon, with ample parking and good amenities. In particular, I appreciated the full breakfast.. it was excellent to get a day started at Bryce! The room was very comfortable, the internet reliable, good water pressure, clean hallways... all in all... excellent!!!!

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff. Highly recommend. Large, comfortable rooms with double vanities separate from the shower/toilet room. Full breakfast buffet served by staff during COVID when most hotels have suspended breakfast service. Beautiful lobby with fireplace greets you upon arrival.

The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the close proximity to Bryce Canyon. Food was within walking distance. Their breakfast buffet was great! Even with COVID the staff were able to serve us food. We loved that social distancing signs were every where and stickers to mark for 6 feet. Felt very safe here.

Since March 2020, When we first enter a room we take sanitizer wipes and wipe every surface. Usually the wipes are like new when we finish. Here they came up dirty after wiping just a few lamp switches. Same with the microwave panel. Doesn't inspire confidence. But nice big rooms and the best hotel breakfast we have had since March. Hats off to the breakfast crew! Line moved fast. Safe practices observed. Checkin was likewise fast in spite of a line.

I have to admit that I avoided the Best Western brand for years due to what I felt was just a totally outdated brand and old hotels. This place changed my opinion of the entire brand. Multiple people at checkin. Everyone wearing masks and lost of plastic barriers. Very nice rooms and OMG, people serving hot food at the breakfast buffet. Seriously this place changed my opinion on the brand.

Hotel was comfortable and reasonable. Staff was friendly, We were thrilled to get a hot breakfast- something not many hotels are offering during these covid times. I was concerned that condiments were left out for anyone to use- not cleaned after use. Otherwise I felt the covid regulations were in place. Some guests in lobby were not wearing masks, but I guess it was not required.

We are very pleased with this hotel. It feels more like a lodge with spacious, comfortable room. I highly recommend. Covid safety precautions are in place. Only 3 miles from Bryce Canyon. I can't really embellish this review but Trip Advisor won't publish unless it contains 200 characters.

The hotel was very well organized and clean. The breakfast was fine and they had a lot of staff in place to keep it clean and everyone healthy. It was greatly appreciated. They have a shuttle pick up to Bryce park which is perfect. Their lobby is very nice. The desk staff provided paper plates for our use as we forgot ours. That was most kind. When we left we received our bill via email and had to call in to have a movie charge of $26 removed. We did not watch a movie. They removed it without a problem. The room decor was very nice. No problem hooking up to internet, but at times it was a little slow. To be expected as it is fairly remote out by the park.

We traveled here as a family of 5 (3 kids ages 9,11,13) and the suite was very spacious to accommodate us. There were 2 queen beds plus a pull out sofa which was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a major plus, especially while I did threw in loads of laundry in the guest laundry, located next to the pool. Rooms were clean and tidy, although daily service was not provided due to covid?? There was breakfast in the morning although it was served to us instead of buffett. It's all good, though. Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable, clean, great location and kind staff. The hotel lobby was beautiful with high beams and touch of western feel. It doesn't provide unique accommodations like other places we stayed in Utah (covered wagons, ranches) but it was perfect for this location.

Our suite here was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. We got a great hot breakfast both days we stayed here, and our daughter loved both the pool and the hot tub. We'd definitely stay here again.

It seems there are only two hotels in Bryce Canyon City, Best Western Plus and Best Western Ruby's Inn. I am quite glad we stayed here as opposed to Ruby's Inn as it seems to be a bit more COVID cautious than the other (we visited the other hotel and it seemed like most people weren't wearing masks and it was pretty packed). The staff here seemed friendly enough and the rooms were HUGE! However, the AC was extremely loud and I could hear our next door neighbor's TV blasting the News all night. So, if you're a light sleeper, i'm not sure this is the place for you. Also, I will say that it was nice to have a breakfast - even though it was a buffet, the staff all wore masks and gave you the option to dine in or take back to your room. We took back to our room in order to avoid unnecessary extra COVID exposure. Overall, this hotel is fine for a night.

This hotel is really nice inside and the front desk was very helpful. For the price of this hotel, there were quite a few things to be disappointed about. After check in, we noticed the air conditioning in the room wasn't working well and we decided to go across the street and give it time. When we returned it was still hot, I called once to see if it was going to eventually get cold and the front desk said give it 30 minutes but by that time it had been 2 hours since we had checked in. I don't want to move rooms after cleaning everything with Lysol wipes and getting our stuff settled in. The repair man came within about 10 minutes and did some diagnostics and said the motherboard was bad. It took him another 15 minutes to repair the unit and then the cold air was pumping. Beside that problem, there was a problem with the toilet not filling correctly. Both of these issues would be easy catches for the person who came in and disinfected the room prior to our stay. I was excited for the breakfast buffet in the morning but it was disappointing. It was good in the sense that it wasn't a grab and go but the quality was disappointing. The scrambled eggs were undercooked, the bacon was microwavable bacon, the pancakes and waffles were frozen that they just heated up and place on the buffet bar. However the breakfast sausage was decent and there were some yogurts along with apples and bananas. There was also a selection of Danishes, donuts and they had juice and coffee. One other thing that bothered me was at check-in there was a woman sitting on the sofa reading. She had removed a pillow from the sofa and took off her shoes and place her bare feet on top of the pillow and rested both on the table in front of her. She was in this position at check-in and then still there a couple of hours later as well. That's just nasty and even if she doesn't know better, she was in clear view of the front desk for hours and they should have said something to her.

Overall the property is just fine. Pool looked nice, I did see a few people enjoying it on the beautiful day we were staying there. Service at the front desk is ok, although I had a very difficult time understanding the desk clerk with her mask and the barrier between us. I actually had no idea what she was saying assuming she was just explaining where our room was located. The room itself was very nice. Seemed relatively new or recently upgraded. Problems did not occur (hence the 3 stars) until night time. The a/c unit is extremely noisy. The walls are paper thin. I could hear the couple next door "doing it" and on the other side, two gals discussing their latest makeup and perfume acquisitions as well as young kids arguing which tv show to watch. I finally feel asleep about 2am only to be awakened by the a/c unit kicking on which then shut off again and of course the couple next door were now on round two. So if you are a light sleeper exercise caution. I tried using my noise cancelling headphones which helped somewhat. In the morning the line to get breakfast was clear down the hall thanks to CCP virus rules about distancing. As stated the property is fine overall, unless you need quiet.......

nice up to date hotel. comfy bed , relatively quiet, except in the morning, when people mobilizing to go to bryce canyon. breakfast was buffet , but with servers providing the food. It was average for this level of hotel. Very close to park entrance.

We usually economize on lodging, and plan our stays in advance. This place is way too nice for me to have booked. Luxurious entry and check in. Large spacious comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and eating area. Everything I can't afford. But somehow I could because I booked this place. A little away from the hubbub across the street, but close enough. Stay here if you can.

First trip to Bryce Canyon. This is clearly the best place to stay while there. A hop, skip, and jump into the park. The facility is nice, room was large and well-laid out. There was a problem with the room when we checked in, but management took care of it immediately, apologized profusely, and made amends. You can't ask for more. Breakfast was ample and tasty. A great way to start the day of exploring. So why four stars instead of five? There was no oversight of the pool area which meant lots of wet towels lying around for hours, kids jumping in an out of the spa as if it was a kiddie pool - despite signs requiring adult supervision - and even two instances of couples bringing babies (<1 year old) into the spa with them. Clearly forbidden. But no one in management was EVER out there to ask that people obey the signs. So...I guess this is great if you want to let your kids run wild. Less so if you are an adult trying to get a little R&R in after a day of hiking.

I made a spur of the moment trip to Bryce Canyon and was lucky to get one night at the Grand Hotel - upon checkin I asked if I could extend a night but was told the hotel was booked and to check again in the morning. I did check in the morning - no luck - but later in the day I was able to book a room at the same hotel through a third party app and the hotel then linked my reservations so I didn't have to change rooms. I did ask if the hotel was operating at reduced capacity due to COVID but was told it was operating at full capacity. Just FYI if you're concerned. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a pool and hot tub which I didn't use but looked clean and welcoming. There is a laundry area on site too. The restaurant is only available for breakfast (which was included). Due to COVID, the staff serves breakfast to you - you can choose to eat in the restaurant (on paper plates) or get it to go (styrofoam to go container). The selection included eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast & french toast sticks, pancakes, pastries, juice, coffee and cereal. The hotel is a short distance from the park. There are a couple of restaurants in the area. The hotel does have a small convenience shop which had some basic snacks, beverages (non-alcoholic) and toiletries.

We had a great stay. Beckie was fantastic in setting us up with backup reservation across the road at Ruby's BW, if they could not extend our 1st night through all the nights we ended up wanting to stay. She could not have been nicer and more helpful. Juana(sp?) followed through the next morning and got us set. Room was great. Breakfast was very good, served hot , cafeteria style. Nightly rate was very good, for value for the money, compared with other places in Utah we stayed. Staff was all very gracious and helpful.. This is what a hotel stay experience should be like.. They are a model for service and execution. Highly recommend.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds but these are definitely smaller. Front desk stated this is queen size for them. Never experienced this in any BW before. Front desk could use some customer service and politeness training. They were not helpful at all.

Guests are not required to wear masks. Staff don't wear masks or do so with their nose out. It's a culture issue here. Not a safe place to stay for those observing COVID-19 prevention protocols. Staff is friendly and the facility is fine. Does not adhere to Best Western's promises mask policy.

This hotel is the more luxurious sister of its across the street BW Ruby's Inn. We stayed in a ground floor king. Plusses: Staff is customer oriented with attention to the diversity of its customers, Large room and well stocked bath area clean, Comfy mattress, Hot breakfast buffet with servers, Quieter than it's sister across the street. It's a safe and comfortable place to stay Minuses: Maybe too quiet, breakfast better than OK but nothing special, $1 donation to National Park was charged to my account on check out without being informed in advance about it

Most beautiful Hotel to stay in. Breakfast buffet was most delicious and was handled very well with Covid -19 restrictions. The Hotel is close to everything in the area that you want to see and do. The area of Bryce Canton is all most breath taking. Truly one of the wonders of the world... Our visit was truly exceptional. -thnx-

This is a great hotel for its proximity to Bryce Canyon National Park. Our stay was very comfortable. The kids loved swimming and the staff was attentive to public health guidelines for the pandemic. Thank you!

Ruby's Inn has three hotels with their name in it. Good, Better and Best is the best way to describe them. One is a motel (Good), the other is a normal hotel (Better) and this one is the Best. It shares parking lot with the Motel, so don't get them confused! The Grand Hotel was as nice as any normal Marriott. Super clean, helpful employees, and HUGE rooms! Two sinks in the bathroom even! Hot buffet breakfast still going, even during Covid. It's a little more to stay here, but book direct - they often have specials on their website. It's worth it! Nice pool and hot tub too!

The hotel is just outside of Bryce Canyon National Park and very convenient to shops, restaurants, and souvenirs. It's also located in some very beautiful country so bring your camera and an extra battery for snapping all the scenes in Bryce! Hotel was extremely clean and Covid aware! I was surprised they still served the hot buffet style breakfast. You couldn't serve yourself. They served you but the breakfast was fabulous! Employees are helpful, friendly, and professional. Best Western beds are just heaven and I always sleep well (except when there are elephants in the room above me that insist on stomping around until midnight and start again at 4 AM!!!! Grrrrrrr) I loved this hotel and will definitely stay again.

This Best Western is of a caliber of the majority of four-star business hotels across the nation. Limited service property with no bell staff, but with business center, mini-market and free parking. VERY large rooms with size-able baths. Baths have double-sink vanity separate from shower/toilet area. Breakfast is basic - but as expected for an included-in-the-rate offering. Similarly, secured pool and jacuzzi area is comfortable - and towels provided. Just from visual review - would recommend the BW Plus Grand vs. BW Ruby's Inn in a more high traffic spot with shops and grocery. Easy to in-and-out from the Park with pass - so did visit in the morning and came back to BW - relaxed ... and then back into the park for sunset and night experiences.

There are two Best Western Plus's in Bryce. The Grand is first hotel on left as you enter (only a few motels in town). There were a fair amount of guests staying at hotel, but certainly didn't feel crowded. Very happy with stay. Nice pool and jacuzzi (although closes promptly at 10pm), Lobby had mountain feel. Breakfast was served until 9:30am. Was hot breakfast (buffet style, but staff dished food out) Could seat inside (took half the tables out) or outside. I believe all guests get breakfast and if the case by far one of the better free breakfasts at any motel I have stayed at in the US (where all get free breakfast). Room was ok, felt clean and I never worried about cleanliness. Refrigerator in the room. TV nice sized. Air worked fine. Internet was better connection then most motels I have stayed. In addition, there are 2 computers in small business center near lobby. Restaurant only serves breakfast. If I were to return to Bryce (and I will - park is stunning) I will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Wonderful got breakfast big outdoor pool and patio. Also close to Bryce canyon. Perfect. There were restaurants close by as well as a grocery store. Just great!

This hotel is minutes away from the park entrance, so it is a perfect place to stay if you like to go out at sunrise or sunset to view the hoodoos in the park. I did both of those with ease due to the location of this hotel. The front desk personnel were friendly and quick to answer any questions I had. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The bed provided an excellent night of sleep. The shower was really nice as well. Those are the two main things I look for in a hotel room. They served a hot and cold take out breakfast in the lobby. It really hit the spot after getting up early to go to the park. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights here. There is a restaurant, a grocery store, ice cream, entertainment..so much to do! Best thing is that its just minutes from the entrance to Bryce Canyon and so much hiking. Beds are comfy! We were pulling a tent trailer and they had plenty of room for parking too. The smaller restaurant outside of the facility looks like it sells hot dogs, but THAT is the place to eat....best rueben ever.

Hotel was fine, but masks were either not required or not being enforced. Had I known that prior to booking I wouldn't have stayed here. Breakfast was modified (employers served to go containers from buffet style with protected glass and servers were wearing masks and gloves) due to covid, which was good, but people were still able to congregate in shared spaces without masks and they could walk around inside without masks. I did see employees wearing masks. Good location (5 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park). We finished late at Bryce and we stopped across the street at Ruby's Inn for food, masks were not required there either. MANY people inside did not have masks on and their restaurant was open for dine in, no masks required.

Only place I have had a hot breakfast served in the last 6 months. Many options for food and the service by employees was friendly and quick. Rooms and pool was clean. Extra towels delivered to room instantly when called to front desk. Family will look to stay here again!

We stayed one night and got a great deal. Fresh hot breakfast was still served in a socially distant manner, and the business center and laundry facilities were a godsend for us. The surrounding village seems to have sprouted up for tourism purposes near the canyon, so all conveniences are close by: shops, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and of course the park entrance and shuttles.

We were torn whether to stay here or at the sister property BW Ruby's Inn across the street. I'm so glad we stayed here instead. It's further away from the Main Street so its quieter. They also offer a hot buffet breakfast that they serve you. Offerings were eggs, mini pancakes, French toast, bacon, cereal, muffins. It was okay, not spectacular but I didn't expect it to be. Bottled water was nice. We checked in early around 1pm and were able to get a room. They upgraded us to a 2 bd suite which we appreciated but it was on the 1st floor. We usually request a high floor. Room was great, so spacious. We were happy with everything until about 5pm when the people above us checked in. I thought a dance party was happening with the crazy thumping, jumping, running. It was off the hook loud! “Quiet time was at 10pm” so staff couldn't do anything about it. The thumping stopped around 9pm. Seriously! It started back up around 7:30am!!! This time I asked the front desk if we could change rooms since we couldn't take another night of this. They were gracious and obliged. In about an hour we were notified our new room was ready, on the top floor. It was identical, 2 bd suite. It was actually even better. We were so much happier. Our stay was great, would definitely stay here again. If staying in Bryce this is one of the best options to stay. Room had everything we needed.

The staff is very friendly. I felt their cleanliness was very good during Covid. Breakfast was quite good with lots of options. Pool was great with a nice hot tub. Loved the easy access to the park for hiking with we did daily. Rooms have a refrigerator and microwave which we found helpful. Dining options are limits but there is a small grocery store across the street which allowed more freedom. Right off route 12 so you can do the scenic drive up to Boulder, too. I would absolutely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights and the hotel was a great price and in excellent condition. It had a nice breakfast and they took precautions serving it safely with the coronavirus. The public areas were very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself seemed a little run down. The AC was very loud at night, switched on and off every 15 minutes. We got in line for a to- go breakfast which was just ok. The waffles and French toast were dried out and hard. Not much of a selection either. Plan on getting in line early, because of social distancing, makes for a very long line. Coffee is at the end, so you have to wait in the line just for a cup. The great thing is you're just minutes from Bryce Canyon, very convenient.

Stayed there during epic COVID-19 pandemic. Basically it's an old overpriced hotel named "Grand" for unknown reason. Here are a few pros and cons: PROS - good location, close to the park - friendly people CONS (basically almost all are related to the new COVID-19 environment) - dirty rooms (cleaning allowed only between move-in/out, but apparently not being done at all) - limited breakfast menu and long lines, have to wear masks, can't take anything by themselves - Room issues: loud, old A/C. I couldn't sleep at all until I turned it off. - very soft mattress

Check in was easy and quick. The front desk employee was friendly. The location is great! It is a quick walk to the general store, gas station, food and ice cream shop. You can get breakfast to go or eat in the dining area. They had a great selection of breakfast items. The room was OK. It was really clean. The bathroom fan rattled whenever it was on. The fridge hummed really loud, but the fridge and freezer worked. The air conditioner did not work properly and you could only open your window an inch, so it was really hard to get air flow in the room. The beds are really firm (I didn't like them, but my husband and son were comfortable). We could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around. The hot tub timer was broken, so it was just like sitting in a warm bath with no jets. The outdoor pool is heated. There is a water filling station on the drinking fountain. Overall it was a good hotel and we would stay again.

The hotel itself was okay. Bryce is a small area, so location really isn't the problem because the hotel sits near the entrance to the amazing park. I encountered two younger (20s) women during my check in process. The younger lady with an accent couldn't have been less helpful or less welcoming. She worked with another girl of Asian descent that was reasonable, but that's about it. It is amazing to me that these women would be the front line workers of a hotel. It is hard to overcome such a rude demeanor when just trying to check into a hotel. The rest of the hotel's amenities were fine.

Just spent weekend at Bryce Canyon> I have to leave a poor review for one reason, the price gouging that took place at the store there at Ruby's Inn. I needed a battery because the one in our smoke detector went out, it was $7.89 for a battery. Didn't have a choice, so I had to suck it up. The next morning we needed additional bacon for our party, and it was $14.00 for a thing of bacon. Come on guys, that is crazy. negative review earned.

We only stayed there one night but the double vanities separate from the bathroom were sooooo perfect for a family of 6. There are two best western hotels across the street from each other so I had to double check my reservation. They are owned by the same group. Great COVID friendly breakfast buffet.

Great location, just a couple minutes from the park. Plenty of bathroom and closet space for a few days' stay. Breakfast buffet served by the staff was excellent. Bryce reminds me a lot of the little cruise line-controlled towns. It feels like somebody owns the whole place, restaurants, etc. Just an FYI.

The hotel looks brand new, the rooms had adequate space and the staff was friendly. We had an issue with guests making too much noise above us and the front desk was happy to contact them at 12am. The breakfast was good but the line was long as we were there during COVID, but they did a good job with it.

I was initially a little hesitant about booking at a Best Western - it seems like it's either decent or a total miss with this brand of hotel. After we pulled up and got inside, my perception totally changed of Best Western. This was one of the cleanest hotels I've ever seen. The staff handled the breakfast very well through COVID precautions and we highly enjoyed our visit. You are only about a 10 minute drive from the Bryce Canyon visitor center and I would absolutely book this hotel again if we were in the area.

The Good Stuff - Parking and check in were super fast and easy. Impressive main dining area that is large and open. Rooms are spacious. Really liked their water filing station to cut down on plastic and provide fresh, filtered water for their guests (so bring your water bottles). Great hot shower with excellent water pressure. Liked the double sinks in the bathroom. The Not-So-Good Stuff - The bathroom fan was loud and rattled whenever the bathroom light was on. Our TV only had a few channels that worked. We wanted to purchase a movie but couldn't do so because the TV wasn't working properly. The floors are thin and we could hear every step the guests above us were taking (we were on the 1st floor).

I walked in to this hotel without a reservation and was able to get a room. As a BW Rewards member with diamond select status, I was somewhat disappointed that I the desk clerk did not acknowledge my membership after I requested her of my membership. I was not provided any free bottled water nor the 500 points welcome bonus. I politely asked if this hotel provided any perks for the diamond select status. I was upgraded to a 2 bed suite. A week later I checked my BW Rewards account and noticed I did not receive any points for my stay. I ended up calling BW Customer Service and waited on hold for approximately 15 minutes. The representative was not very nice but he did add my hotel stay to my BW Rewards account but did not add my 500 welcome bonus points so I ended up having to call back the next day to get this corrected. While not a deal breaker, I should not have had to waste my time to get this corrected. Okay, getting back to my hotel stay, the hotel public areas and hotel room were very nice. My room on the fourth floor was very comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed the swimming pool in the evening before it was closed. It was very crowded and did not seem like the hotel was enforcing any sort of CoVid-19 capacity restrictions which made it difficult to be socially distant from other guests in the swimming pool area. I really appreciated the effort this hotel made to provide a hot breakfast during these trying times. I took my food outside because it was too crowded inside for my comfort level. The hotel served its purpose but not sure I would stay again. I might try the BW Ruby's Inn across the street for my next visit to the area. They seem to offer more on-site amenities and a lower room rate.

I don't really know where to start. We've stayed at a few other hotels since the Covid-19 outbreak and many,many prior to it, without question this property is at the top of our list when it comes to quality, cleanliness and bang for the buck! The staff were absolutely fantastic from the front desk to housekeeping they ALL went above and beyond. The property looks and smells like it was just opened for business. The breakfast...... Well, in most hotels it's down to a bag with a piece of fruit, a packaged pastry and a breakfast bar, aka "grab and go". NOT HERE! They still put on a FULL buffet with everything from Eggs and Sausage to Waffles and Pancakes. The difference is they follow Covid-19 precautions to the letter in everything they do. They serve everything from Coffee to forks wearing gloves and masks either in to-go containers or on plates. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed, nice beds, lots of pillows, soft and large bath towels. We can't say enough about this hotel! What a great surprise!!! ***One thing I do suggest, join the Best Western loyalty club as members get decent discount on this property.***

The location of the hotel is great- very close to the park, and the hotel is clean. Our room was very small for our family of 4, but we booked last minute and there were no bigger rooms available. The rate was very good for the room. The best part was the breakfast- we understand we are living in a Covid world, but please keep things as normal as possible! BW still had their regular buffet, but rather than self-serve, staff was serving it. The food was very good, and you could still have as much as you want! We need to fill our kids up in the morning to keep them energized for the many hikes we do a day- they eat a lot! Way to go Best Western! We also stayed at a Marriott in Moab, and the breakfast was awful- a preordered bag of bad food, not enough to keep anyone full. We will stay here again when we return!

Requested a top floor away from elevator and vending. End room, 4th floor and opposite elevator! Very quiet. Double room with a welcome double vanity separate from the shower/toilet area. Perfect for time management and privacy. Loved the sheers and black out drapes. Fridge/freezer worked very well. Ample lighting and comfortable beds too.

COVID responsible. Outstanding view, friendly staff, good location. Nice rooms. Excellent hot COVID breakfast. The pool area was very nice, complete with a cabana area, wadding pool (closed right now), hot tub, and fun noodles. Several nice fire pit areas as well.

Great location. Shuttle stops right at the hotel. Food and (ATV, UTV, Bike) rentals are right next door. There is an awesome bike trail through most of the park. I would definitely stay here again. Make sure you stop by Bryce point and the Navajo trail while you are there with kids.

Just want to say hotel was great. Very clean & comfortable. Great job of social distancing signs on floor for hot breakfast buffet which was served by employees. Breakfast was free with eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, fruit, waffles, juice, bottled water and coffee. Lots of employees serving so line moved quickly. Pool & hot tub open. First hotel with pool open since we started traveling cross country from Florida. Hotel right outside Bryce National Park and they have shuttles you can take to and catch from different stops in park.

The pluses: easy access to the park, good facilities, easy parking. They had a full breakfast so it was easy to get the day started. The negatives: odd square shaped pillows, there can be noise from upstairs room if not on the top floor. The thing about this area of bryce, is the fact that the best dining in the area is unfortunately the subway, as all the restaurants are uninspired.

Best Covid-era hotel breakfast we've seen yet. A long line of friendly servers waiting to pile your plate with eggs, meat, pancakes, fruit, French toast, potatoes and more. Coffee and juices in abundance; servers pass it to you. Plenty of parking. Walk to Ruby's Inn shops and restaurants. Entrance to Bryce is very nearby. Friendly staff, clean property. Avoid rooms on each floor ending with -42, -62, -22. These rooms share thin walls with noisy stairwells. Apart from these rooms, reasonably quiet. One of the better options in this area. Full of families enjoying travel and nature.

We stayed here in June 2020. While the front desk staff were wearing masks, they did not encourage or mandate customers to wear masks. And there were a lot, more than half, of the guests we saw were not wearing masks. We used the elevator to come down for breakfast and a couple walked in not wearing a mask. We decided to take the stairs for the rest of our stay. Breakfast did offer a variety but basic quality: bacon, eggs, french toast, fruit, cereal. They had staff serving us food which helped prevent the spread of covid. But again, many guests standing in line were not wearing a mask. Would I stay here again? Any other time but NOT during the covid pandemic.

We stayed with our immediate family (including Grandma) for a long weekend at Bryce Canyon. The location is perfect and within minutes of Bryce Canyon. The rooms were clean and well cared for. The staff were great, and made us feel safe and cared for during the Covid-19 pandemic. Everyone wore masks and things were being cleaned constantly. Hand sanitizer was available throughout the hotel. Our rooms were not cleaned daily due to Covid-19 restrictions but any need we had for towels or help were immediately met. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was better than most and we loved the to-go option offered during Covid. We had rooms facing away from the pool which was perfect for us since we like to go to bed early. Each room has a microwave and fridge too which is really handy given the lack of affordable/good food options in Bryce City. The pool was small but the kids had a blast.

Normally I wouldn't write a bad review while I'm still at the hotel, but I'm so frustrated. I wrote several paragraphs and calmed down enough to delete and rewrite. After a 10 hour drive from Yellowstone, I arrived around 10:00 pm. I got into my room and noticed that it only had 2 queen beds. I checked my confirmation and it indicated 3 adults 2 children and 2 queen standard room. I vaguely remember a pullout sofa when I booked my room at the beginning of the month. I don't know how, but I must have made a mistake with the booking. I called the front desk and indicated I should have a sofa bed since I have a family of 5, and that is what I remembered reserving. The girl told me that is not an option, but there is a roll away bed I could get for an additional $25 per night. Maybe I got this reservation mixed up with another hotel, it was late, I needed another bed, so I agreed and started wiping down the room due to COVID-19 and unpacking and my family started showering. The main issue, when I entered the room and called to ask I should have been told there was a sofa bed option. It felt like I was the one taking advantage, asking to comp the roll away bed because I didn't want to repack, move, and wipe down the new room. Of course, they didn't comp the roll away and I ended up moving to the suite with the sofa bed that I researched myself that originally wasn't an option. To be clear, it wasn't about the cost. The suite was only a a few dollars more. When I got into the new room and I saw the bed cover. I called the front desk and the tone was like, what do you want now? I had to ask for a new bed cover. Look at the pictures. Would you have slept on the first cover? 2 hours later I finally was able to settle down and sleep.

Based on the other reviews we must've stayed in the worse room!! Next to a loud pool and fitness room!! Every noise heard! Screaming kids and families in the hall with trampling from above!! The pool area was overrun (during covid) and soggy food on the ground, flies everywhere! If you'd like to be well rested for a full day at the parks, DO NOT STAY HERE!! You won't get rest in this dated motel!

This was a somewhat last minute find for us - we had booked to stay at the Bryce Canyon Lodge, which then, due to COVID-19 was not going to open until the day we were scheduled to check out. We scrambled and found that there really aren't many options in the area, so we chose this BW, based on other TripAdvisor reviews. We were very pleasantly surprised! Check in was quick and easy and we were given the a room based on our request through a 3rd party booking site. The room was a double queen, spacious with a nice view out of the northern side of the property. Everything was very clean, which is my biggest concern normally - even moreso now. Maid service has been suspended during your stay, but if you need anything, they are more than happy to supply it. The building is set well back from the main streets so there is no noise from the nearby highway or the road into Bryce Canyon National Park. The pool was open during our stay and a few people were using it, but staying socially distanced. It seemed the hotel definitely was not at capacity, but had a good number of people there. We had no issues with room noise on the top floor. Breakfast, as others have noted, is buffet style but served by employees from behind Plexiglas. They were allowing some tables to be seated, but we opted to take ours back to our room. The location is fantastic for the National Park - only a few minutes to the main gate, straight down the road. The other Best Western across the street has a lot of peripheral entertainment and shopping and seemed busier. We preferred our quiet side of the road. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would without hesitation recommend it for anyone going to Bryce!

We had an excellent time staying at Best Western Plus Brice Canyon Grand Hotel. The hotel is relatively new and well maintained. A hot breakfast is offered, though staff serves it due to Covid-19. We especially appreciated the front desk personnel - Oana, Amina and Andrea - who welcomed us and recognized us throughout our stay. Andrea, a trail runner, gave us some good advice regarding hiking in nearby Brice Canyon. The hotel is located near the entrance of Brice Canyon National Park. We found it a convenient place to explore the national park and other nearby recreation areas. One thing to note - the hotel is not providing daily room cleaning due to Covid-19. That didn't bother us, but just wanted to let the readers know that is the status as of June 2020. We look forward to returning here!

If you want to be right outside the entrance to Bryce NP you should stay in this area. It's not really that important though because it's so easy getting into the park. Bryce Canyon City hotels, stores and restaurants are all owned by the same people so it's all the same stuff and seems like there's no need for them to really make an effort. It's not terrible and most of the staff was friendly.

We stayed here while visiting Bryce National Park. We stayed in a 2 queen suite and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms that we stayed in. Plenty of room for all of the stuff that we lugged around during our 11 day vacation. The breakfast was very good and the staff at breakfast was great and worked very hard to make sure everyone received their food and everything that we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

Probably the best hotel choice in Bryce. My only complaint is that I booked a suite mostly based on the photo advertised. The photo shows two rooms. One with beds and bath, the other separated by a door with couch, TV, table, and sink. But they only have three rooms that actually look like that. The other thirty-two suites are basically just larger versions of already large rooms. If you want a suite like the photo, chances are you won't get it, so don't pay the extra $. The exercise room is nice and well equipped. The pool isn't very large and gets crowded easily. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The line for breakfast was really long at 6:40 am, so we went over to Ruby's. The shower was really nice with strong water pressure (that's kind of rare these days). The bath area had two sinks which was nice. Check-in is at 4 so don't arrive early. It wasn't especially quiet for a newish hotel. Lots of noise from the hallway and we could hear kids jumping around and screaming from other rooms. We've stayed across the street at Ruby's and the rooms here are much newer and better.

They advertise queen beds, but they dont have queen beds. Their beds are full beds. The staff claimed they were queens but they are not. Dont stay here if you need a queen bed so your feet dont hang off the edge of the bed. Otherwise it was a pretty good stay.

This was the perfect hotel for our family while visiting Bryce Canyon. Our kids loved the pool, complimentary breakfast and proximity to the fun little shops and tours. We booked the king suite and it was plenty of room to spread out. We loved the complimentary breakfast to start our day. We could walk to restaurants, horseback riding, shopping, ice cream and fun souvenir shops. It was very clean and the staff was awesome. It is conveniently located right outside Bryce Canyon National Park! We will be back again!

My adult sons and I visited Bryce Canyon earlier this week. Our stay at the Best Western was excellent. A full breakfast was provided and the servers worked extremely quickly to make everyone was pleased with their options and service. The Best Western was extremely clean and the lobby is beautiful. The location is perfect for a visit to Bryce Canyon. I will definitely stay her when I visit next time.

This is an excellent property within close driving distance to Bryce Canyon. They also run shuttles back-and-forth to the national Park. The property is excellent. The staff is helpful and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a weekend trip the hotel is fairly new and very nice. Room was clean and comfortable large fridge and small microwave. It was cool so we did not use the pool. Staff was very attentive and helpful. They do not clean your room daily due to the pandemic but that is fine. They still offer a very nice hot breakfast served by the staff. We ate both mornings around nine and the line was long but moved efficiently once they had enough staff to serve. They are doing a great job of trying to work through this new normal and accomadate the needs of their guests. I would stay here again.

Well kept property & friendly helpful front desk. Pillows were uncomfortable. Is the only hotel ever I've found no parking under entry cover, mad motorcycles park out in the lot during T-storms. Breakfast was the worst I've had as it was cold both days.

The mattress and pillows were very hard. The pillows are also so large it's hard to sleep on them. Neither of us got a good nights sleep. We had problems with the toilet flushing in room 3348 and twice had to take the tank lid off to flush it. Also, the iron is attached to the ironing board with a cord. I have NEVER seen this done anywhere and I have traveled extensively. It makes it very difficult to iron and when you add water to the iron then it's difficult to remove unused water to put the board away.

We stayed 2 nts while visiting Bryce Canyon NP. Great location only minutes from entrance, NP shuttle stops outside hotel entrance also. Large room, clean and quiet. Breakfast is included with room. Pool and jacuzzi very nice. Definitely would stay here again.

We stayed two nights to enjoy Bryce Canyon. The hotel is nicer than we expected. They have taken many steps to ensure guest and staff health. Everything was clean, signs were posted to keep social distancing. The pool is large with many chairs and tables. They have adjusted a great breakfast—staff serves the food and offers a dine in or takeout option. There were ample choices and they were really efficient and prepared. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We would for sure stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here for one night. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was nice and clean with comfortable bed. The location was good, close to a lot of restaurants even if most were closed due to corona virus issues. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was buffet style but people were spread out and the hotel staff asked what you wanted and the dished it up for each guest. I would stay here again and recommend it to all.

We were able to get a great deal on this room because of the COVID-19 ordeal. Definetely worth it as this hotel was great. The room was nicely furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was great for my kids and the staff did an outstanding job serving breakfast and getting everyone through the lines quickly. I probably wouldn't ever pay their standard summer rates but definitely a great place if you get a good price on it.

Located just across the street from historic Ruby's Inn, this is a newer option with the same location. We stayed here just after they reopened with Covid-19 restrictions. They've got plenty of sanitizer and are making all the needed efforts to keep everyone safe. Our room showed a little wear, but it was clean. The mattress was comfortable and the shower was good. Glad we brought our own pillows though. Room is spacious and has a small fridge. Bathroom had double sinks. Breakfast was excellent and served by staff. All in all, an excellent option for Bryce.

Very nice place and very sensitive and compliant to the Covid issues. First they take every step possible to make you safe. They have a buffet breakfast setup served by the staff and tables spaced properly. The rooms are very nice and the pool is already open

This place is amazing. Staff was very helpful, even singing happy birthday to my wife as we entered the hotel. They made our stay so much more enjoyable as all were engaged, concerned for our safety and well-being during these crazy C-19 times and this is the only place you should stay if going to Bryce Canyon.

I enjoyed my stay here. You will do also. I used to do the survey. Frankly, I seldom do the survey these days. The reason, I am doing now is that “I was SATISFIED.” The rate was high enough when I made reservation. I know the reason. I used the other person's contribution and I would like to give back my writing this. The distance to the points (including sunrise and sunset) is ten-minute drive. The location is good. You do not have to be closer to the points. The staffs are very friendly. The room is big enough. Have a enjoyable stay.

really nice hotel, great breakfast. reasonable for the area and a great stay at a great price in the winter. I assume they charge a lot more in the summer as it is a very nice hotel and worth more than they had charged in our february vacation

We had a great stay at this place. It is a fairly new motel, so the exterior and grounds are tidy and well maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The interior decor was warm and charming (we were there at the beginning of March) with lots of beautiful paintings of the Utah area. Are room was perfect and had a nice view. Although it was closed, the pool is fairly large. The jacuzzi is also a decent size and was very soothing in the cold March Utah evening. We were there during the low season, so the motel was not too crowded. I would definitely stay there again. It was excellent value for the money.

Overall it could be called a very basic hotel to stay at in a pinch, but there were a few MAJOR problems when I had to stay there in a pinch for my work trip. There was a sports competition in town so all other places were fully booked and they charged $180.00!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a JOKE! Typically I would say you get what you pay for........ not in this case. Room was ok, smelled funny and had some drainage problems, but other than that would have been totally fine. The treadmil was a joke. It kept stopping unexpectedly and the speed dials were completely off. (For $180 you would think they could upgrade to a working treadmil). Breakfast was ok- just your typical hotel stuff. The one problem I had was there lack of selection for hot drinks. They had coffee, and lipton tea. That is it. You would think (especially in utah) that they could invest in I dunno a hot chocolate or herbal tea. All of this would have been fine and I would have been ok if it were not for one last thing that pushed me over the edge: The thing that REALLY ticked me off though was that the hotel smelled like incense and drugs! I had hoped to be able to come back from my work and relax and enjoy a night to myself, but I had such a bad headache from the smell that my night was terrible. It was blaringly obvious in the lobby, but the smell also permeated into my room and kept me up all night. Typically I would say that a place like this will work in a pinch, but for whatever reason this time it severely disappointed me. In my pinch it was a complete and total let down.

We were on a multi stop tour of southern Utah and chose this BW Plus location due to the proximity to Bryce Canyon, the breakfast included in the room rate. The property exceeded expectation based on the reasonable cost. The staff in all areas were tops...I will look for another opportunity to visit this location, and will seek out other BW properties as I plan future trips.

This is an excellent option for visiting Bryce Canyon. Rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is excellent. Pool was closed but looks excellent. Hot tub was great! Service was excellent. This is best value in the area.

This best western double charged me and added the $75 hold fee as well. I paid cash except the last $20 that I put on a card. When I got home i discovered that they put the whole amount plus the 75 on my debit card.

The check in process was smooth, the rooms were clean, and the hot tub was hot. I would say that if your looking for a nice clean hotel near Bryce Canyon, you can count on this place. The breakfast had many options and my girlfriend really like how crisp the waffles were.

Nice big rooms. Price was great for off season. Staff was friendly. rooms were clean. Lobby was pretty. Hot tub closes at 10 and we were kicked out nicely, but still would have liked to enjoyed that longer. Got to use for about 15 minutes.

We made a quick decision to spend the night here and take two days to go to Bryce National Park rather than a quick one day visit. We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade on a very reasonably priced reservation. I guess because we went in the off season, we got this nice large 1 bedroom suite with a Jacuzzi tub and beautiful views. The room was so comfortable that I wish we had been spending more time here. The bed was very comfortable and we got a view of the outdoor snow from both, the living room area and the bedroom. There was even a kitchenette and large dining room table in the main living area. The bathroom had a separate large walk in shower and a soaking Jacuzzi tub with two sinks and plenty of storage space. The breakfast that was included had a nice selection. The dining room was spacious and comfortable. I would totally recommend this place and will stay here again sometime.

We enjoyed our stay here, we found the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms well set out and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and the wifi was strong and reliable. There was nothing that stood out to make it special but there was certainly nothing that made us regret our stay. We would stay here again for sure.

Great location just a few miles outside the entrance to the Bryce and walk-able to most local attractions. We came in winter, but could still walk to meals across the street and to rent skis / ice skate. Its a big hotel and impersonal staff reflected that. But really no complaints.

We stayed here for one night on a winter trip to Bryce. The room was comfortable, quiet and warm. The breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel at this price point. Lots of selections. The only shortcoming of the stay is the choice of dinner locations in the area this time of year. Only the Ruby Inn restaurant across the street is open this time of year. So-so at best. We survived and had a great time on our winter visit.

Great hotel. Very clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast was large with a ton of options and lots of food available. Very impressed with this hotel! Located close to the Bryce Canyon National Park entrance, very easy to get to.

Rudy's was a pleasant surprise! We wanted to stop on our way to Vegas to see the Bryce Canyon park . The hotel was very nicely decorated and felt very homey. The location is great just outside the park entrance . The restaurant breakfast buffet was great ! The staff was friendly. Pool and hot tub looked nice but I didn't get a chance to use it . The room in the main building that we stayed in had a great tub with jets . There was many things to look at in the hotel , such as a general store and other areas with local i formation. I would definitely come again !

We stayed for few nights in the hotel. It is in a good location, restaurants nearby and is very close to visitor center. The room is basic but bigger than the average hotel room. AC in the room is loud so we did not use it. There is a self-laundry facility in the hotel with coin-operated washer/dryer. There was hot breakfast available. Everyone was very nice at the hotel. Overall, a great stay at the hotel.

This is our first experience with a Best Western and we were highly pleased. Friendly and efficient staff and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Great selection of items at breakfast buffet. Convenient location to Bryce National Park. Dinner option available across the street at Ruby's BW.

It was a pleasant stay for a snowy winter night. We arrived on Christmas eve and we enjoyed the festive setup of the hotel very much. The lobby was stylish and beautiful. The rooms were clean. beds were comfortable. also it's right outside of the national park. It also offered complimentary breakfast buffet which was very nice.

We stayed here one night while visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. It is a lodge motif and looks fairly new. Rooms are very nice.,modern clean, and quiet. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to explore the park for a few days.

We spent one night at this location after visiting Bryce Canyon. The hotel is just off the highway in a quiet location. The lobby and rooms are beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the outdoor hot tub after a day of hiking the hoodoos. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only thing I found was that the pillows were on the small side (minor detail!). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the complimentary breakfast. WOW!!

We were visiting Bryce Canyon over Thanksgiving Break when a blizzard struck. Thankfully we checked in without a problem and were assigned a nice, cozy room on an upper floor, per our request. The room had everything we needed, and the bathtub was very nice after a winter hike in Bryce Canyon. We also came back in the middle of our second day to eat lunch in the lobby. We had brought sandwiches, fruit and granola bars for our lunch but there was no place to eat in the park. So we ate in front of the large fireplace and even had coffee that was set out. I also have to say that the breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations. There was bacon, eggs, pancakes, french toast, cold cereal, fruit, muffins and also soy and almond milk. It was very impressive and we ate well both mornings. All in all, we had a terrific stay at Best Western Plus and would stay there again!

Very clean and well maintained keeping up the standard of the best western chain . I Like the family room the most as it can accomodate 5 of us and most importantly good WIFI. There is a Gym and big laundry room with 4 washers and 4 dryers. We reached the hotel around 11.30 am but can only check in after 12 . Since it was low season the front desk could have been more helpful and allow us to check in . Overall good hotel .

Really nice hotel with all the higher end amenities, this property is worth the price. Nice breakfast but you need to go over to the old Ruby"s Inn for dinner. The hotel's location could not be better, right outside the entrance to the National Park.

We stayed here for two nights. We really enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet was very good. I like the fact that we could get hot water/coffee/tea 24 hours. The water dispenser was a great bonus so we're not having to buy water during our hike in Bryce Canyon. Plus the room came with a microwave and fridge. We had a room with two queen beds and the room came with two sinks. What a difference that makes with kids. We really enjoyed our stay here. After our trip to Bryce Canyon we headed to Vegas and stayed at the Mirage. I have to say that I wish we had gotten a hotel at the Best Western across the street from the Mirage. I think our stay would've been so much better.

One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in and at a great off-season rate. The property is located right in town. The lobby is comfortable and inviting. Our room was equally comfortable and super-clean. The shower was one of the best hotel showers we've ever experienced. Only one downside--lighting wasn't great for reading. (This seems to be pretty standard in hotels these days. Maybe nobody else reads anymore?) The breakfast room was roomier than any other hotel breakfast room we recently experienced. Breakfast selection was adequate. And being able to checkout from our room was a real plus. As an aside, visiting Bryce in early November is highly recommended. The number of visitors was way down while the weather was still perfect for hiking. Of course, if you're into touristy stuff like buffets with "cowboy" singing or ATV tours, etc., much of that was closed for the season.

Stayed here while visiting Bryce NP which is very close. I was recommended by a friend and he was totally spot on. Place was very clean, room was in excellent condition. Hotel employees were very helpful at all times. The breakfast had a large assortment of things and was very good. Highly recommend this Best Western. Totally worth it.

This was our first encounter with a Best Western Plus and visit to Bryce Canyon. We were greeted by the front desk staff upon arrival and were on our way in no time thanks to the web based pre check-in. Beautiful lobby with a roaring fire to greet you. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast area is much larger than many other hotels we've stayed at and the food choices were plenty and breakfast staff friendly. The location was super convenient to the park and highway. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were surprised when we entered the lobby of the hotel. It has the look and feel of a mountain lodge. The rooms were typical of most hotels. They were clean and roomy. The breakfast area was spacious and the variety of food offered was good. Staff was friendly. This is a very convenient place to stay as it is very near the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park.

We enjoyed the clean and spacious room. It was a corner room on the fourth floor inside the hotel. There are many rooms in buildings not attached to the lobby and breakfast area. Try to get a room in the main building. The hotel is just a few miles from the Bryce Canyon visitor's center. The breakfast was available at 6:30 am and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the fresh fruit salad. They did not have any green tea. Most of the staff was friendly and informative. However, we did have a bad encounter. We asked to check in early. And the staff member just said no and gave no explanation. No smile, no offer of a call when a room would be available, etc. Very unwelcoming! Areas for improvement. They need to provide a safe in the room and a night light. And they need to teach all their staff to be more welcoming to their customers. I may stay here again. Not sure. My wife did not like the bad staff member.

We stayed here one night in November 2019. The hotel was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast buffet comes with the room and it was one of the best breakfast buffets we have seen in a long time! We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Decent hotel in a tiny town. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. I wouldn't say anything about our stay was excellent or noteworthy although nothing was very disappointing. Tv service was incredibly outdated although not a big issue for me. Overall our stay here was nice.

So we were running late into a blizzard, and finally to this beautiful and fantastic hotel with humongous fireplace, what a place, the rooms were very, clean and very confortable, , good hot breakfast before going to see the majestic Brice Canyon under the snow.....what a day we love it.

We traveled with another couple and took two rooms at the Best Western Plus in Bryce. Obviously the attraction is Bryce Canyon NP. The hotel was clean and very roomy. We enjoyed the large size room with lots of space and had a great nights sleep. We were very pleased with the overall quality of the hotel and the included breakfast was great, too.

Stayed two nights while at Bryce. Staff was friendly, the room, while somewhat dated, was quite large including a sofa which was nice, bed very comfy. The walls are a bit thin, fortunately our neighbors weren't too loud. The breakfast buffet was a lot more varied and extensive than I expected, it is crowded but there is extra seating in a different room, so don't panic. Other than breakfast there is no restaurant so you have to walk across to best western Ruby's. While not too far, about 2-3 blocks down the driveway, keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Also, there was an Arctic cold snap while we were there so the walk when it was ZERO degrees with windchill after dinner was painful. Too cold to use the pool but I'm sure nice in the summer. The shuttle had stopped when we were there but the hotel is super close to the park entrance so no problems.

We haven't stayed in a Best Western in years. In the Bryce Canyon area there are not many "chain hotels like Hilton or Marriott group hotels) so we continued to search.The location of Best Western Plus prompted us to look into this property more closely and we ended up staying here. It was new and clean and quite large.

Nice place but need to fix the internet and wi-fi service the phones had problems and the tv was hard to use and the shower valve needed to be fixed the food was removed to soon and some guest did not get to have breakfast but a nice place and clean the room was very clean and quiet just need some help to get up to BW level

On our tour through the various parks in the southwest this was one of the rare hotels where proper tableware is used: NO CARDBOARD PLATES, NO PLASTIC CUPS and therefore no heap of trash after the breakfast (like at several other Best Western). So also from the environmental point of view this hotel is a recommendation!

This was a great location, right down the street from the park entrance. I thought it was a bit overpriced, but given the other lodging options I saw in the area, it was probably way nicer, so worth the extra $. Breakfast was good, not great - Eggs could have been better. Bed was comfortable, Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very nice. We would stay there again.

I ready several reviews before i stayed here. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I travel for business and this is one of the best Free Breakfasts that i have had. Great lactation good stall and clean rooms.

Just outside of Bryce Canyon and in front of a Bus stop that loops around Bryce. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was included and served early so it allowed us to go into the park much earlier. There is a lot of parking. The beds were comfortable but we were suffering a bit from altitude sickness as we drove in from a much lower altitude and can't fully gauge it's comfort. Do keep in mind that this hotel is at 7.6k feet of elevation if you have issues with altitude. We were willing to live with that as the proximity to Bryce was worth it.

We wanted a hotel near the National Park and wow this was great. Enormous, well equipped room including bath robes. Nice front desk staff. No restaurant on premises although they offer full buffet breakfast. Clean, new, nice

The location is good, just a mile or so from the entrance to Bryce Canyon. The Front Desk staff were always helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were thrilled they had washers and dryers on site ($2.50 a load). The complimentary breakfast had a very good good selection of items.

Hotel is very nice inside and outside. Room was clean and spacious. Shower had awesome warm water and pressure that felt amazing after a long hike. Beds were comfortable pillows are a little small than I'm used to but slept good. Has basic amenities needed for avid hikers or family to use like an empty fridge to put things in and microwave. Came with buffet breakfast which had all the basics nothing grand. No lunch or dinner inside but across the street was Ruby's Buffet and Steakhouse. Coffee and tea was always available in the lobby which was a nice touch. Was surprised to see the bath amenities were very tiny and housekeeping didnt make up room next day. I came back from a long hike at 3pm and nothing was done. A guy came saying housekeeping but told him its 3pm I just got back and unfortunately needed to rest. I didnt mind though since my room didnt require attention so didnt bring up to Front Desk. Overall it was a great stay and would definitely stay here again during Bryce visits.

We had two very pleasant nights here - a new, smart and clean hotel with free breakfast and excellent attentive staff. The hot tub was lovely and the entrance just a few minutes from Bryce Canyon. Shame it doesn't have a bar or restaurant.

This hotel is very servicable. The rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast is OK. There are not many options at Bryce Canyon and the Best Western lacks charm but it certainly provided what we needed for a three day hiking trip in the area.

The hotel was nice but the price was not. We booked with Expedia and Hotel.com paying $329 for one night. While others who walked in that day paid only $180. No one was able to help. Best Western said it was Expedia and Expedia said that was what they were charged by Best Western.

we had a really nice king suite at this hotel. plenty of parking and the breakfast was very convenient. The hotel is very close to the National park. We did not take the shuttle to the hotel, but that is a nice feature to have. Plenty of markets nearby to stock up on provisions for hiking.

Great hotel in a wonderful location. We opted for this over Ruby's, though they are sister properties, because this property has all ‘inside' rooms. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning and it was more than filling. Our room had a couch and chair which was a very nice treat for relaxing. There is no dinner option on site, so you do have to go across the street to Ruby's, but it's a very easy option. Dinner over there was great!

The Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel has beautiful facilities and one of the most spacious rooms I've ever stayed at. However, it is still a pretentious motel with a $323. price tag. No lunch, dinner, bar, bellman, laundry service, although there is a laundry room. Breakfast buffet is OK, but not great. It's open from 6:30-9:30. We arrived at 9:00 only to have the lights turned off at 9:30 WHILE PEOPLE ARE STILL EATING. Yes, lights turned off. I could not believe it. I asked the two employees sitting outside the breakfast area about it and one replied, “Well, we close at 9:30,” like letting guest eat in darkness was a normal occurrence. Instead of sitting he should've been standing by the entrance and telling anyone who arrived after 9:30 that it was closed. Every morning dirty bags of laundry are placed outside every door. What the heck? I've never, ever seen that done in the hundreds of hotels I've stayed all over the world. For some unbeknownst reason Best Western has a monopoly at Bryce. And it shows. Ruby's BW across the street is nightmarish at best. Nothing plus about this motel,except the layout. Time for some competition Utah.

I don't think I've ever paid so much for so little!! Breakfast was barely edible. The room had poor ventilation and smelled. The pool was closed despite the fact I was promised it would remain open when I originally made the reservation just a few weeks prior. They did give me 10% off because of the pool closure but I still paid over $300 a night for what? I feel completely ripped off. There is no benefit to paying more and staying at this hotel. Please save your money and stay at any other lower-priced facility. To be clear, this review is regarding the Best Western located across the street from Ruby's. If I had to do over, I would have stayed at Ruby'a Best Western and saved hundreds.

Arrived on a tour late in the day. Staff was friendly and were very helpful. The room was well designed with double sinks and comfortable mattresses. The room was quiet. We were warned that a line developed at the morning buffet. We went a few minutes before it opened and were able to walk right in. The Buffet did fill up fast as multiple tour busses were there. Our stay was short but we would recommend this hotel if you need a place close to the park.

I think our room number was 3143. It was an "accessible" room, and I chose that type because of the lower price (never again). It was right by the elevators and ice machine. I don't know if there is actually a room above it or a hallway, but the footsteps pounding late into the night and starting at 0500 gave us a poor night's sleep. The room itself was huge, as was the bathroom. Two sinks with their own counters were great. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was amazingly well done, given the huge crowd there early. The fresh fruit available (grapefruit sections) was very welcome, and all the other usual offerings were there. The seating area was very large, and there was a good amount of space between counters for everyone to move around freely. Staff were immediately available to take trash and clear tables. Well done!

This hotel is effectively a dormitory for visitors to Bryce Canyon National Park. It is a very nice dormitory in that the rooms are spacious and well equipped but the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar so you are forced to visit the sister establishment some 600 yards away for the nearest options. Breakfast was frantic with staff overwhelmed by the number of guests rushing to join early morning park tours. Having said all that it is in a great location which means it warrants 3 stars!

They feature this hotel on their website as the only option fro Bryce to get you there. But the real hotel is acorss the street a block away. This where you get food and drink. Also it build cheaply, such that you can hear the people in the room above simply walking around their room.

Please accept our apology for not meeting your expectations during your recent stay. I will be reviewing our website to see how you may have been led to believe that there are no options available in the Bryce Canyon area besides the Bryce Canyon Grand.

At Bryce Canyon Park, you either stay in the park at the lodge, or at one of the hotels a few miles away. I think for ambiance, I would choose the lodge next time. Or if you want western cowboy/tourist you can stay across the street at Ruby's Best Western. But this one was nice, clean, and we slept well- which is all we did here. There is a nice breakfast area, and a pool, but we just slept here! We had 2 queens and a sofabed.

This is a large modern hotel located right outside the park and adjacent to a park shuttle stop. I would have given an excellent rating if not for the coffee and breakfast. The coffee at breakfast was empty when we came down for food and because a tour bus crowd had all arrived at the same time there was no room to sit. We carried our breakfast back to the room to eat and used the in room coffee maker. The hot food was good but the in room coffee was of very poor quality. When we finally got coffee in the dining area it was also of very poor quality. Water maybe, who knows but surprising and disappointing for an otherwise great hotel.

Top class hotel. One of the shuttle stops is at this hotel. Shuttle bus runs from 8am to 8pm, depending on season. They say a shuttle comes every 10 minutes but we never waited over 7-8 minutes. Why drive your car into the park when the shuttles are great and the drivers help explain things. Super breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub, after a day of hiking. Besides the fantastic Bryce NP, we drove 20 minutes to Red Canyon in national forest. Entrance is free. Trails are challenging and really needed walking sticks.

We were fortunate in not needing to use the shuttle but it would have been very convenient. The breakfast buffet was well laid out and had several good options including a hot chocolate machine. However, the TV remote control was very awkward and the video selections left a lot to be desired.

Don't be confused. There's another Best Western property across the road, but that's for those who want a lot of extra options (like horse or helicopter rides, a huge buffet, a pseudo Western town with operating shops, etc.). This is truly a Grand Hotel with a more refined atmosphere. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Loved that they have reusable plates and utensils in the (complimentary) Breakfast Room. There's even a free shuttle that stops right in front that takes you into Bryce Canyon Park (why else would you come here?). It comes at a cost, though; a night's lodging isn't cheap (I guess that's to be expected when there's not much competition of any kind).

We stayed here one night in a King Room in September 2019. The hotel has an excellent location, a few miles from Bryce Canyon National Park. The hotel is very expensive but we enjoyed the stay. Staff in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a good bed, a refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave. The shower and lighting could be better. The room and bathroom were nicely clean. Breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel has a small pool. Initially they assigned us a room next to where the ice machine and vending machine are located but the noise both machines created was enormous. Our new room was better but still very noisy: we could hear voices coming from other rooms and the corridor and we could hear every step from the room above us. I guess the walls and ceilings are very thin. So if you are a light sleeper: bring your earplugs!

This is a really nice place to stay when visiting Bryce Canyon, it is close to the park entrance. The room I had was clean and spacious. Ample parking plus continental breakfast made for a great stay.

After staying at Springhill suites outside Zion, this was a long way down. We arrived to smell of cheap perfume throughout the motel. Rooms were clean but cheaply decorated. Walls were thin, one lamp did mot work and air woke you whenever it went on. Breakfast was the cheapest packaged food you could buy. For health conscious outdoors people, real turnoff. Coffee and oatmeal was watery. The town badly needs a Marriott or Hilton to bring standard up. The price of room was similar to Marriott in Zion.

We sprung for one of the suites here and it really was worth it! The rooms were nicely sized for a suite and gave us all a bit of space since we'd been staying at in park lodges at some of the National Parks around Utah for most of the rest of our trip. The pool was great, kids had a blast. The grounds were clean and kept up. The breakfast was actually very good considering how many people happened to be staying there when we were there (several German and French tour groups). The breakfast staff knocked it out though and never let anything get too low. I had great experiences with the front desk staff, checking in, buying something from the little convenience store and checking out, they were very polite and competent. Do not feel like you are missing something by not staying at the lodge in Bryce Canyon National Park, it is LITERALLY 2 minutes from this hotel. Would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel provided easy access to Bryce Canyon. The hotel is new, provides outstanding service, had an excellent breakfast, and good internet service. I would highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a hotel near the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park.

The hotel is lovely, the rooms fantastic but the people at the front desk were just awful. My luggage was mis delivered to someone else's room. The people who realized the luggage was not theirs took it down to the front desk and asked them to call me, the name on the tag. They said the would deliver the bags to the right place but they did not. I called the desk about my luggage and was told it was not their problem and they didn't know about it while my bags sat right there at The front desk for over an hour. It was only when our group leader intervened that they gave him the bags and he delivered them to my room. An hour and a half wondering if i could retrieve my wallet, medicines and clothes when i did not need to . They acted like real jerks. Our tour guide said they always act this way and it is only due to few hotels in this area that they get away with this terrible service. The owner should get better staff!

This location is just perfect while visiting Bryce Canyon with family. We had 2 kids and 2 adults and we felt the rooms were just the perfect size for us. We liked having the swimming pool and the hotel tub and having wifi was great. My beef with the hotel and the city is the food options. There's just not good food options in the facility at night and all the restaurants and the general store in the area close just in case you're having a late-night or are hungry at night... I would highly recommend with families with kids to plan ahead for it. We ended up getting some frozen food and fruits from the general store and my stomach was in pain for several days during our trip after going the frozen food route but thats just me.

Best Western Plus is by far the BEST!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing information about the area. The rooms are huge and stocked with everything a traveler would need, including microwave, fridge, hairdryer, iron/ironing board and coffee maker with all the trimmings. The food was delicious and we also enjoyed using the pool and spa after busy days of planned activities. We'll be back!!

Lucky to stay in this wonderful lodge-like hotel during our Trafalgar Tour Western Frontiers. We felt like we were out in the middle of nowhere, but had all the conveniences needed. They offer a wonderful buffet breakfast and we really wished we had more than 1 night in this comfy place.

We originally wanted to stay within the NP at the Bryce Canyon Lodge, but this was fully booked unfortunately. So we opted for the Best Western Plus which appears to be the best option accommodation wise within the town of Bryce with a plus point being a Bryce Canyon shuttle bus stop just outside the hotel. The room we had appeared a little dated with a very noisy fridge that whirred on and off throughout the night. We were also in the first room outside the lift and close by to a very noisy ice machine, which didn't really lend itself to a good nights sleep. If you find yourself being given a similar room I would ask to be moved. The town of Bryce is basically run as a monopoly by the same family and appears to cater more for mass tourism than for individuals with a row of shops decorated in the style of an old west town and restaurants offering dinner with a country & western show. Compared to the resort feel of Springdale adjacent to Zion NP, Bryce town appears all a bit tacky. Bryce Canyon itself is stunning and well worth the visit. Though next time we would look at options elsewhere if we were unable to get into the Bryce Canyon Lodge again.

This hotel is excellent. But it is part of a "company town" (with another Best Western close by -- owned by the same family- which is likely to be noisy). You are sort of in a "captive" situation in regarding to eating, which is grossly overcrowded, so it is best to find someplace else to eat before arriving at Bryce Canyon. An opportunity missed.

Excellent hotel with the lobby shaped like an all inclusive resort! The pool and the Spa temperatures are just right. The receptionists are very fast at checking people in and out, but our only problem (small problem) was that our room was hard to find. Our room is 3113, and we thought it was on the 3rd floor, lol, but it is on the first floor. It was a great stay in this hotel near Bryce Canyon National Park, and I highly recommend this hotel for people that is travelling to Bryce Canyon.

Great location and a nice, clean room. A very large hotel which caused large queues at breakfast, so you have to time it right. Just to clear up the confusion about gluten-free bread - I asked for some and they do have it!

When we finally got into our room it had an absolutely terrible perfume chemical smell. I called down and they said they would send up an ion machine but we had to be out of the room for an hour. They didn't even hesitate so I'm guessing this is not an isolated incident. We could not open the window more than an inch to get air because there was a metal piece stopping it. When we asked to have the piece removed, we were told it was a Utah safety law to keep people from jumping out. First of all, we've been in several hotels in utah so far and this is the first that restricted the window opening. And if people want to jump from something in Utah there are plenty of peaks. The air conditioning did not work very well. Nor did the fridge. Breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of choices, including soy milk and gluten free for people who need this. And very good coffee. Also they do not recycle anything anywhere in town. Not a plus in my book. Since everything here is called Ruby something I decided to read about this town. Reuben (Ruby) Syrett homesteaded the land here (160acres) and now his family and neighbors (all 137 as of 2007) live on land he owns And all except for children, work for him/his family. His family worked in the mills in Panguitch and in 1916 he decided providing rooms and food for people who wanted to see Bryce was better. So he started a guest house, restaurant, etc. Back when the state wanted to build a road to the only entrance in Bryce he donated the land so that he owns the only land and business on the road leading into Bryce. His grandson is now the mayor and his relatives basically run the town. I write this to tell you that the people in the hotel did not seem to care what we thought about the place. They own the town. When we checked in, for example, it seems that I signed something authorizing them add $1 a day to my bill as a donation to the park. I did remember the clerk saying, initial here, here and here and sign here. My mistake was not reading the paper. I would have donated to the park (we did it every place else) but here I felt I was not asked. Also when I got my bill it was about $10 higher than on my reservation. When I questioned it they at first argued with me that that was the price. My husband went down to the desk and showed them the email and that is when they told us that the tax had gone up to 10%. When I heard the couple next to us arguing about the same thing I suggested that they should suggest to Best Western that a batch email to people who had reservations would have been free and customer friendly. I was told “We're not Best Western. We only use their name.” On the plus size, for dinner we went across the road to Ruby's restaurant and had delicious local trout dinner. The next day we had their buffet for a late lunch. Also good. The building is also another hotel by Ruby, and a General store with a small supermarket and a small camping store, and a huge souvenir store and art store. Oh, and clothing. And I'm sure we missed something.

The room was clean and fine. We did get a chuckle about the pool; they have top notch marketing team because we were expecting much larger beautiful pool area. We could not even use the pool and there were not enough chair for the guests.

Excellent position just outside the Park, the shuttle stops right in front, opposite the restaurant. Big rooms spotless clean, fully provided with complimentary comforts. Buffet breakfast. Pool with hot tub too, only few deckchairs. A very pleasant place to recover your strenghts after a long day in the Park.

The hotel is grand. Lobby and dining room look impressive. During our visit, the hotel was full with European families. Room was spacious & clean with enough amenities that were in good working order. Coffee & apples were available in the lobby but not tea.

Stayed one night in room 3105. Room was clean and comfortable. Standard buffet breakfast. Bathroom was split between the sinks in one area and was separate from toilet facilities. Walked from hotel to dinner which was close by.

Our room was beautiful (great view of the plain), service on point, nice up-to-date techno,rodeo accessible and a really superior breakfast buffet. Shuttle to Bryce every 15 min or so. Our suite was beautifully appointed with many comfy options for hanging out

This is a nice clean hotel and the rooms are pleasant and plenty of room in the rooms.They have a pool, but it was not working when we were there. They have a nice laundry room. This is a perfect place if you are going to visit Bryce. It is well located and gives you good access to visit all of the park.

The BW Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel is located in the Bryce Canyon Village, a tacky cluster of hotels/motels and very average restaurants just outside the park entrance. Five minutes (with no line up at park gates) to get into the park. The hotel is a very busy spot. It has a pleasant lobby and a very busy, but efficient front desk. Rooms are a decent size and comfortable, but a bit on the dark side decor wise. Don't come here for peace and quiet (tons of families and kids) or views of nature. The breakfast is a frenetic buffet, which if you hit it at the wrong time is not well stocked and makes finding a table a chore. Staff here work hard and do their best, but it is a tough job. The hotel is over priced for what it is, but is also in what is pretty much a sellers market at peak summer season in Bryce Canyon.

This was an excellent stay. I had a blast with the family and the accommodation was far above what I expected. Great room and the food was amazing. Nice store to shop in and many thing to do locally. Will be definitely be going back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Plus Grand hotel. It is convenient to Bryce Canyon and the free shuttle to the park even stops right in front. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff very helpful.

This hotel offers good services for the price. Rooms have large space, well equiped. People at the reception are not so friendly (not so important but they can improve). Swimming pool is small but it is refreshing after a whole day of walking in the National Park, which is so close from the hotel (very convenient). Breakfast offers large variety of items in a spacious room nearby the pool.

Great hotel and atmosphere. Designed like a lodge but with the essentials to be a luxury hotel.would definitely recommend this place if visiting Bryce. The shuttle is accross the street, and if it rains it can be I convinient.

We drove yo Bryce Canyon from Las Vegas. and after exploring the park, we spent the night here. The room was ready when we arrived (as I had requested). The room was clean, well-appointed and well located. The bathroom and shower were clean, with the basic necessities supplied. The front desk people were welcoming a friendly

Beautiful, clean hotel with a fabulous breakfast and a very nice outdoor pool/hot tub. Made use of that hot tub after days of hiking, it was terrific and helped relieve those sore muscles that we used!

This best western is across the street from Rubys In another best western. But this one is much newer. The room was real nice and clean with 2 beds and a sofa bed mini fridge and microwave. They had a very good breakfast in the morning. They are located just outside of Bryce Canyon.

I would highly recommend this hotel if going to Bryce Canyon, beautiful hotel, great pool and hot tub, breakfast was delicious, beds very comfortable, staff friendly and so helpful. Groceries, restaurants nearby in walking distance and a rodeo also walking distance, wish we had time to see that! 7 minute drive to entrance to the park.

My family & I are on a month long road trip & we are so glad we stayed here! I researched all the hotels in the area & this place got the best reviews and we saw why! The staff was friendly & helpful. This hotel is the cleanest hotel I've ever seen! We stayed 2 nights and there was staff constantly cleaning everywhere. The pool area was great, my kids loved it. The laundry room was large & clean! The breakfast had lots of options, complimentary, yummy, & well staffed! What we really enjoyed as well is the fact that the hotel was quiet & not overwhelming with guests like the Best Western across the street. Best Place to Stay!!!

Really good location close to the "city" and Bryce Canyon NP entrance. Everything seems new and weel kept. Really good price for the room and breakfast. Would chose this hotel again. Kids loved the heated pool

Arrived after a long drive and were quickly checked in. Hotel has roomy foyer with comfortable seating. Room was very comfortable. Pool area is private but seemed small .Hotel is a great place to stay to visit Bryce Canyon park - there's a shuttle bus every half hour. It;s also a short walk to the resort shops and restaurants (Ruby's and Ebeneezers) We opted for a country show which was great. There's also a rodeo show! Great fun. Breakfast was buffet style and ok.

The hotel is very close to Bryce Canyon, and although it was pricey, we decided this location was best. We drove from Las Vegas, and there were numerous hotels about 45 min. before Bryce, but we'd have had to back track to them. Check-in was friendly & efficient. They gave us a map of the hotel and grounds - a plus! The entrance to the park was minutes away. Bryce Canyon itself is awesome and not to be missed! Later in the evening, we used the hotel laundromat. It's huge, with many coin-operated washers and dryers. The front desk changed money into quarters and also sold detergent in their store. The free breakfast buffet in the morning was large and exceptionally good. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel while touring Bryce Canyon National Park. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. I got a good night's sleep every night I was there. The hotel is within walking distance or a short drive to the bus terminal where you take a bus into the park.

The hotel is clean, the people are very nice and Bryce Canyon National Park is very close. There is a park shuttle right outside the hotel that comes by every half hour. The breakfast at the hotel is fine, limited selection of pre packaged foods. There is not a restaurant at the hotel and only a few in the area. You can walk to the rodeo grounds (Thursday-Saturday nights in the summer) and it is a completely tourist rodeo. Best part of the rodeo is the children riding the sheep for fun!

Beds were clean which is very important. Sticky bathroom floors were unfortunate. Double sink very helpful, yet the room for the tub and toilet is pretty tight with the door position. Best breakfast variety during our trip. Ate dinner at Ruby's across the street (off the menu not the buffet ) and it was good. We drove to the park but the shuttle stop was in a good location.

This is our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, very unique decor and an awesome staff. We made a mistake in our reservations and they quickly fixed it with no problems at all. The breakfast buffet was fresh and had real scrambled eggs as well as many other selections. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bryce Canyon.

This was a very nice hotel, right in the middle of everything which was great. We got the queen suite which was great to have some space for our family. The biggest bummer was there was no attached restaurant and the restaurants in town were pretty bad. No coffee shops that offer espresso, etc. The staff was "OK," but we were greeted by 3 people with their heads in their phones which was not a good first impression. They have a great laundromat and pool. Their free breakfast was better than average in that they had a large selection but their bacon and eggs were pretty bad- I didn't even eat them. The TVs were a bit dark and the sofa bed was broken - not so bad where my son couldn't sleep on it, however. Overall I was fairly happy with this place, though I was super bummed about the quality of food in it/around town.

Stayed as family of four in two connecting rooms. Each room had two queen beds. I was impressed with this Best Western Plus. It was probably one of the nicest Best Westerns I have seen. The hotel is set back from the highway and very quiet. Staff was efficient and friendly. There is an outdoor pool and laundry facilities (4 washers and 4 dryers). The rooms are very large with large counter tops with two sinks. The wi-fi was fast and a/c worked well. There was a large breakfast buffet which was a little hectic in the morning. Highly recommended for visiting Bryce Canyon.

This is a new hotel and we're glad we chose it for our post July 4th trip. The hotel staff (Oana) was very friendly & helpful, the place was very clean, room was comfortable especially with TWO sinks in bathroom, breakfast was a feast and hot fresh coffee available in lobby early AM. The dinner show at Ebeneezer's Barn & Grill next door is a nice option if you want to add something extra special to your trip. We will definitely return with family & friends in tow.

We were very impressed with the location and they provided excellent breakfast. There were no issues with our stay there. Staff was friendly and provided quality service. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel is located right outside the national park. Great outdoor pool and hot tub, nice room, friendly people, nice breakfast buffet. This is a great place to stay. We met several other nice travelers from all over while resting our weary muscles in the hot tub.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to recommend this hotel to anyone, ever. Upon check-in, one of our group guests was unable to use his room keys. Next, another guest entered their room to find defecation in their toilet. Then, another couple checked in and found that their room was trashed with the beds unmade and garbage all over the room. As you can imagine, our guides were distraught about this, as were the guests, and one of our guests ran to the front desk upset about the destroyed room. The front desk agent named Crystal proceeded to argue with our guest and call her a F*(&%ng B%. Our guide informed her that it was unprofessional and she proceeded to tell our guide that our guest was a B%^$h. The level of unprofessionalism and unsanitary conditions was beyond unacceptable for a hotel on this level, or any hotel for that matter. I would never ever stay here, if I was you, or your group.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel for 3 night while visiting Bryce Canyon and then driving one day down to Zion Canyon. I had tried to get into Bryce Canyon Lodge in the National Park, starting the reservation process 7 months out, but was unable to secure a room. The Best Western Plus Grand Hotel is part of several in the area, including the Lodge within the National Park, that the National Park reservation system controls so they offered me this property as a next option. I am glad they did. It is only 5 minutes outside the main entrance to Bryce Canyon and is a very nice, up to date property with a large room, excellent bed and great shower AND a huge breakfast buffet that is much larger then the normal complimentary cereal, packaged oatmeal and waffles. Since it is so close to the National Park, in the summer this property services a great deal of bus tour business. This is not an issue as the travelers are not loud and do not stay up late, BUT be aware, they are on a schedule and typically most of the time they tend to pack up and leave at 8 AM or 8:30 AM so plan your breakfast time accordingly. The breakfast area tends to be very crowded between 7 AM and 8 AM so it is best to go down at 6:30 AM when they open or wait till 8 AM or later. Since the sun comes up early in the summer, that is usually not a problem. The property is well maintained, cleaned and they run a very organized hotel. They are used to handling traffic and are ready for it. Very good place to stay while in Bryce Canyon at a good price when you factor in the location, quality of the room and breakfast. Especially compared to the Lodge with the smaller, older rooms and no breakfast as part of the room price.

Lovely hotel with large clean rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel setting was very nice. The included breakfast was a great buffet with many items to chose from, something for everyone.

Did a visit without a reservation and arrived around 11:00 pm in the middle of June. Luckily, we got a room with a fair rate. Surprisedly, the room is very clean and has a huge space. The complimentary breakfast (buffet) was fantastic and friendly. We like this hotel very much and will definitively visit it again.

The location is great. The shuttle stops right outside the hotel. The little town of Bryce is an easy walk from the hotel with a few restaurants, shops and a grocery store. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful with the high vaulted ceilings. The room itself was rather large with two queen beds and a good size closet. The bathroom had two separate sections. The first section was a double sink with a lot of counter space. The second section contains the toilet and tub and has a separate door. The good thing about this is that several people can get ready at the same time and there is plenty of room to do so. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and spa which was rather nice after a full day of hiking and an exercise room and laundry room. The morning breakfast buffet was pretty good with plenty of hot and cold items and plenty of seating.

No real complaints, floor was soft in some spots but I don't guess it's gonna fall in any tome soon. The pictures make the pool look like a lot more than it really is, but the kids enjoyed either way. Breakfast was awesome and included. I'd stay again for sure.

Lovely location just as you turn of highway 12 and a mile or two from park entrance. Lobby and room visually very nice and I loved the paintings in the hallways. Staff on the most part were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast buffet, said continental but had bacon, egg, etc. Good but not wide choice They don't serve dinner onsite but easy to go over the road to Ruby's inn There is a small onsite pool but it was a bit cold when we where there to use. Two minor negatives, no in room safe and heating/aircon unit was very noisy in room. Overall a good choice though and would use again.

Great hotel near Bryce Canyon. Newer and nicer than the sister Ruby property across street. Nice decor that fits the locality. Rooms were very nice size. Very roomy for a standard hotel room. The free breakfast was very good. Lots of options and high quality. Only complaint there was that it stops at 9:30AM. That's a bit early. I know the location would have most guests out and enjoying the national park by then, but for example, we were out until past midnight one night doing the astronomy tour in Bryce Canyon NP. Getting back late as we did made it difficult to make the breakfast by 9:30 the next morning. Very limited dining options in this area around the National Park. The rates here are higher than they should be for such a property but it is due to the locations and very limited options for lodging this close to the national park. Having said that, we became familiar with most of the options nearby and this is definitely the place to stay outside of Bryce Canyon if you are not RVing or camping.

I love the rustic feel of this hotel. Really spacious rooms with two separate sinks from the shower/toilet area. Super clean everywhere and not crowed even though sold out. The breakfast was great -- best "free" breakfast I have ever had at a hotel!

There are limited options for hotels near Bryce Canyon and I do not typically stay at best western hotels BUT after this stay I would absolutely consider it in the future! The accommodations were very roomy, clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful. I thought I left my iPad in the room and the front desk and housekeeping staff could not have been more helpful! What I was really impressed with was their accommodation for special dietary needs. Being gluten free it is typically very challenging to get a good gluten free breakfast at a hotel especially a buffet but the best western really went above and beyond. And the staff helping at breakfast could not have been nicer or more efficient. Overall a really great experience would definitely book again

We had no issues with our one night stay at this hotel. The hotel was large, as first experienced in the lobby. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and with the expected amenities. We enjoyed their breakfast buffet which was much larger than other chain hotels. The room was packed with an attendant standing guard to insure it's only for the patrons. We checked out then left our car in the lot. We took the convenient Bryce National Park bus, located in the parking lot, into the park.

Very friendly reception staff. Huge car park. Free coffee in lobby and free hot buffet breakfast. Good sized rooms. Easy to take shuttle bus into Bryce Canyon. Ate dinner in restaurant but nothing special. Large clean rooms.

First time at a Best Western and we were not disappointed!! Right in "heart" of the touristy area before entering Bryce Canyon Park. It sits far enough away from the road so I would believe in the height of touring season it will still be very quiet. Our first encounter at check in did not go so well. They claim I did not put any room preference (ie., upper floor, away from elevator, vending and public areas) which I am a little disappointed about - these are areas that I would definitely put on a hotel request. They did their best to suit me so it went well. Within walking distance of some of the tourist trap places but worth it for a quick walk, a quick bite, some shopping.

This is a very nice hotel located extremely close to Bryce Canyon. Breakfast & breakfast area are excellent. Beautiful rooms. One thing that surprised me - Bryce Canyon City isn't really a city. It is several hotels, restaurants, and guest services. Don't expect supermarkets or drug stores.

First time at a Best Western Plus and it easily stacks up as a high-quality hotel, with a classy staff, spacious, clean, comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast. Easy access to Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park.

Very friendly service from the staff, large rooms, and a large buffet for breakfast. The bathrooms were large. I would recommend that the hotel provide better bedding and maybe replace the soft mattresses. It would be nice too if the hotel added additional seating in their large lobby for people to relax and chat.

This is an OK hotel in a great location to explore Bruce and the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the air con was ridiculously noisy but the room too hot to do without (and this was only April) Staff were OK - helpful enough but no-one that really gave any stand out service. The pool was allegedly open but had a huge piece of blue plastic floating in it (about the size of 5-6 air beds), so we gave going for a dip a miss! Don't expect anything fancy - this is a functional hotel. But if you are looking for someone close to Bryce canyon then it's probably one of the better options.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel but had a few issues that would not prevent us from staying here again. The lobby area is grand and appealing when you enter it, and there is complimentary coffee, although we found it empty (alerted staff member who refilled it). Check-in was quite easy, but the staff member forgot to mention an important point which will be addressed in this review shortly. Had a junior suite with two comfortable queen beds and a sitting area with sofa and chair and coffee table. There was a corner table with a lamp on it, but the lighting from it was so poor, it was almost nonexistent. In fact, the entire room's lighting wasn't that great, and this was enhanced by the dark furniture. The bathroom delightfully had two sinks which was quite useful, plus the counter space was adequate. There is no door to this area. The adjoining toilet/shower room was quite small, and the door kept closing on its own (good for when someone is in there, bad if no one is in). When we checked in to the room, housekeeping had wrapped the shower curtain around the doorknob in order to keep the door open. The breakfast buffet looked grand and delicious when you approached it. However, the food actually was quite bland and just adequate. Plenty of choices but nothing exceptionally tasty. Can't complain too much, though, as it is "complimentary." Upon checkout, we asked for a printed bill. There was an option to look at in online but we were too busy packing and prepping to leave. Our mistake was not looking in depth at the printed bill when we exited as we were rushed to hit the road. After getting home a few days later, we noticed the bill had a $1/day donation to the National Park added. We did some research and saw that Ruby's has been doing this Dollar Check-Off Program for over 15 years. The monies raised go to the Bryce Canyon National History Association. Detailed info about this is available on the internet. Just so the reader knows, this is NOT about whether this is a beneficial program or not. It is about the hotel failing to highlight for the customer at check-in that this amount will be added to the bill each day. There were a few items that we had to initial at check-in and the form was hurriedly given to us with no further explanations about the program. Yes, it is our fault for not standing there and reading line-by-line each sentence on this check-in form, but the hotel should also assume responsibility for pointing out to each customer the additional charges that will appear on their bill. From now on, we will take our time and read quite carefully all the extra charges that will show up---charges not shown when the reservations were made. The hotel was contacted and these additional daily charges were reversed with no issues.

The service in this hotel is about good. The rooms are tidied up well there is a coffee machine available in the room. And pre-made coffee is also available within the lobby. The breakfast had scrambled eggs based on a mixture with cream and wheats and bacon. The hotel offered fruit salad and a lot of sweet things, but there was no vegetables, no ham, no salami, no cheese and the butter offered was not real butter but a mix with oleo. I asked for a fried egg, but the overall friendly employees had to reject because they were not allowed to do extra service. In fact, I recommend for everyone eating healthy or gluten-free to bring your own stuff. The employees had always ask there supervisor. Some of those managers should take part in a training with Horst Schulze from Atlanta... in my experience, “excellence wins” on every level!

The value, the location, the breakfast... all great reasons to stay here. My husband couldn't believe that the breakfast was included because it is so extensive. The rooms are large and well-appointed. We had double sinks! It is great to be so close to the park. There is a great big fire place in the lobby that makes it very cozy. My one gripe is that no one at the front desk would help us. My car battery was dead and the gas station didn't open for and hour and a half. We finally found a maintenance worker from the neghboring hotel to give us a jump.

Obviously nearly all guests were there to visit Bryce Canyon, which is magnificent. This hotel (and the adjacent Ruby Inn BW) are owned by the same company, which is a family company that began catering to Park visitors long before it was a Park. The family company owns virtually everything that provide serve to tourists in the community. The hotel was very nice, but the price was way out of the range for a hotel of this quality (which was very nice.) With a discount, of which there is only one (10%) we paid well over $230 fo one night - and this was before the summer tourist season. The family company has a virtual monopoly on hotels, camping and RV sites, restaurants, and other such services - and prices reflect that. Not many other facilities to offer competition, so come prepared to pay more than what you would expect elsewhere.

It's right next to the entrance to Bryce, and it's probably the best of the few options there. There's a hot breakfast buffet that's included. Totally functional -- a big hotel behind an even bigger parking lot. The room is clean. Remember -- you're here to see Bryce not to lounge at the hotel. The area could benefit from a little competition considering the millions of tourists who visit Bryce each year.

So this review is written with a little side note: On the way to Bryce I got severe altitude sickness. We arrived hours too early at the hotel, because I felt too sick to go to the Canyon. The woman at reception was super friendly and accommodating, not sure if she saw how miserable I felt. They did not have a King bed room ready but she said she could upgrade us to a double queen size suite which was available immediately. This room was much larger than all other rooms on the plan and i was so grateful! I immediately went to the bed, and was quite happy that i didnt have to be with my partner in the same bed. As I said the room was probably twice as big as a normal big hotel room, the bathroom could maybe do with an upgrade, but the rest of the room: TV, sitting corner, microwave & fridge corner were all great. As it was still very cold when we visited the pool was still closed so we didnt use that. We did have breakfast the next morning and this was so very nice. Lots of choice, lots of tables, nice cosy area. Would really recommend a stay here!

Love this hotel! Overall decor of the hotel and the room were lovely. The room was very spacious and clean. We slept like babies, the hotel was so quiet. Staff very professional and nice. Breakfast was outstanding. By far the best complementary breakfast I believe I have ever had! We checked out a day early because the weather just was not conducive to hiking in the canyon and I wish I could have packed up this hotel and took it to our next stop!

Nice clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with modern amenities just minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park. Beds and pillows were very comfortable for a restful night. There was free wi-if, a hot/cold breakfast buffet, a lovely rustic lobby and also an exercise room! Would highly recommend staying here when visiting Bryce!

Great location in close proximity to Bryce Canyon NP. Clean Spacious rooms; excellent breakfast fare. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Bryce Canyon. Our only disappointment was that the pool and jacuzzi were being resurfaced during our stay.

Hotel is located minutes away from Bryce Canyon making it very convenient to entering as often as necessary. Staff (Oana) was excellent with suggestions as to how to get around the park both by car and shuttle. We took her advice and had an excellent time in park and saw everything there was to see and hikes we wanted to take. Lovely lobby with beautiful fireplace. Breakfast dining area is very large and never had to wait for seating. Very good variety of breakfast foods.

We were visiting Bryce Canyon and couldn't find a better location for this hotel. The service and the area is mesmerizing and oh so peaceful. We ate across the street and the food was wonderful. I can't imagine a better vacation.

We spend a couple of days at Bryce and this was a great place to stay - I will get to that We booked through Travelocity, who reserved our room across the street, at Best Western Plus Ruby's Inn. When we arrived, I looked over and saw the Grand and asked my wife, "why aren't we staying there"? We checked in to Ruby's plus and drove around back to our room. I was not aware that plus was mainly motel rooms...where you entered from the outside. No elevators, and a very small room. Again,wonderful place, just not the accommodations that we are used to. Since we booked through Travelocity, we had to call them to get us moved over. When I called they could not do that. My wife and son ate at the buffet restaurant while I spoke to the front desk Manager Aurora S. I was determined to move across the street. Aurora totally blew me away!!!! She totally made our trip!!!! I explained to Aurora that we made a mistake in booking at preferred to stay at the GRAND across the street. She went into her office, called and spoke with her Travelocity contact, then called the Grand to get us a room. She came back out an informed me that they moved us across the street and provided me with our reservation confirmation. The Grand is more $$ but due to our mistake, they provided us with the same rate. I was blown away!!!! In a society where people are becoming more and more demanding, I felt terrible asking for this but Aurora S made me feel better about it. Thanks Best Western and thanks Aurora!!!!

Wafer thin walls in the external buildings, so you feel the full impact pf the noisy guests. The restaurant staff were SHOCKINGLY BAD. You can forget service with a smile from these guys. The food was average buffet style

We were coming off a big day at Zion National Park, we were late getting into the area, and Bryce View Lodge's door said to check in over at the Best Western. To our surprise, our reservation had been moved to them. And boy were we excited. This place is gorgeous, the room was lovely and clean, and we had a fantastic night's sleep before our next big hiking (and driving) day. The breakfast was definitely the largest production of any of the places that we stayed. It still wasn't great quality (are vats of eggs ever actually good?), but you have far more options. I'm not sure if we would shell out the money to actually stay here in the future, as it looks like it's usually substantially more than what I paid for Bryce View, but it was a wonderful surprise and I'm thrilled about our experience.

Nice common areas and breakfast,,But, the room was so noisy I got no sleep. My headboard leaned on the wall of the stairwell shaft. I heard every footstep on that staircase and every door slam. I heard every conversation outside the door. I also heard toilet flush and footsteps coming from the upstairs room, The TV hardly any channels. The remote did not work. Maintenance came to check and literally told me to stand right in front of the tv to change the channels. But, laundry was a nice option to have on a week long trip

I would like to apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. I have had an opportunity to speak with our head of maintenance about the retraining the staff on taking care of issues.

My wife and I stayed here one night while visiting Bryce NP. I was expecting a LOT more from a hotel charging $200+ per night even with an AARP discount. The room's AC/heating system was so loud I had to turn it off in the middle of the night in order to sleep. There were no blackout drapes in the room which was illuminated by the hotel's exterior lights. And the rooms were poorly sound-proofed. On the positive side, the hotel served a very good hot breakfast, but the breakfast room itself couldn't accommodate all the guests so some people just stood around waiting for others to finish and vacate their tables. If the hotel had charged $125 per night, I think I would have simply thought that all these issues were just part of the normal travel experience. But for $225? The next night my wife and I stayed at a small hotel a few miles from Capitol Reef NP for just over $100 and had a nicer stay there than at the Best Western Bryce Grand Hotel.

I stayed here for three nights this April. The rooms are nice, it's not the Rits but it's most likely the nicest hotel in Bryce. Excellent buffet, I might of clogged an artery after all the bacon I ate. Great location too. I would definitely stay here again, even my wife who is quite possibly the fussiest traveler worldwide liked it.....and that's saying a lot, my wife turns into a real crab if she doesn't like her room......

This hotel is maybe 3 minutes from the gate to Bryce Canyon NP. The Rainbow Point Shuttle Tour stops here. So very convenient. Our king bed was a little firm for me. But that's probably just me. Very clean large modern room with double sinks! Hard to find. Desk clerks are efficient but could use some warmth training. A smile is not going to hurt you. Breakfast tastes better than it looks. Classic steam table fare, nothing special but not horrible. Dining room was packed and we had to scramble for a table at 7:40 am on a Thursday in April. All in all would recommend.

When you need to start from a beautiful location, and need to rest your head before a whirlwind trip through Utah's best parks this is the place to start. And they serve breakfast. We could not have been happier with our service, its not the Ritz, but we weren't looking for it either.

We stayed here for 2 nights so we could have a full day inside Bryce Canyon national park. The location of this hotel is perfect for that, it's 5 minutes from the visitor center. Our check in was fast and efficient. Our room had good space for a family of 4, and was immaculately clean. Beds could have been firmer for us. Breakfast was OK, since it was the Easter break it was very busy at breakfast but we were able to find a table, and there was plenty of food (warm and cold options) to go around. The pool was closed (too cold) but you were able to use the indoor pool at Ruby's Inn if you wanted to. We picked this hotel for it's cleanliness and it's good location and we were not disappointed. I can recommend this place.

The hotel is warm and friendly, despite its size with plenty of public space. The rooms are very comfortable and the option of not having your room serviced each day, respecting the environment, is a welcome innovation. All you have to do is hang the tag on the door and feel good about doing your bit for Mother Earth.

After a long day of driving to get to Bryce we arrived at the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon Grand Hotel at around 9pm. Check in was ok. Once we checked in and got our luggage to our room and unpacked it was time to go get something to eat. At around 10pm I drove to a couple restaurants around town to get dinner and bring back to the room but soon discovered nothing was open after 10pm in Bryce. I went back to the room to let my wife and 3 year old know that we were out of luck for food, no problem my wife said, I will go down the lobby and get something from the concession area next to the front desk. She went down and came back and said it looked like it was locked up or closed, but she said she didn't ask anybody about it. So I went down with my 3 year to double check since we were all starving and would have been happy with a bag of chips. When we got to the lobby there was absolutely no one in the lobby except the clerk, and there was some kind of plastic door or something over the door tot he little concession area. I asked the clerk if we could get in the concession stand and she said no. I very politely asked why, as I thought it was some kind of hotel policy or rule, she very rudely, and I mean very rudely stated that she didn't have time be a shop keeper. I said what?? She said she was too busy doing her paperwork to sell us any chips or drinks, I said you have to be kidding me, she said no I'm not kidding, you try checking 100 people in and see if you have time to sell chips and soda. I said you should have better customer service and left and with my 3 year old and all went to bed hungry. I would highly suggest staying at a hotel with better customer service, and plan on bringing food with you if you get in late. (I will update this when I remember the name of the rude clerk)

Lovely property. Park is accessible by shuttle. Location is a bit remote. Service needs improvement. The lobby is beautiful. We visited in April, so our experience may have been a bit off season explaining the uninformed front desk staff. They couldn't recommend restaurants. They rec places that were closed. Overall, very nice property.

We spent one night at this hotel as part of our 40-person tour of the American Southwest. Our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Service in the hotel was good. and the breakfast room was clean and well-stocked. We ate dinner and lunch at the nearby Ruby's cowboy buffet and Steak Room (reviewed separately). If you are doing Bryce Canyon and do not want to pay the prices for the lodge in the park, this is a good choice.

Stayed the night on our way to Park City to see Bryce Canyon, went on April during the spring break, the bus system to Bryce Park is not yet available, otherwise we were told that the bus stops the hotel. Breakfast was good and complete with hot breakfast. Rooms sizes were big, hotel was very clean and close to restaurants and shops. the only thing we wish was there was a restaurant on the hotel especially when we were too tired to go out for dinner and it was cold outside. There were restaurants in the area but it was a walk. Service was excellent and the hotel was very clean.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The reception area is very grand like an old wood lodge, service was good. The rooms are big and spacious. The location is very convenient to Bryce Canyon National Park (5 minutes) as well as shopping and restaurants. The breakfast spread was good (except the scrambled eggs that had a weird oil smell).

This hotel is better than the Ruby's Inn across the street. This hotel provided a great experience for us. It was walking from the Ruby's Inn General Store and the restaurants next to the Ruby's Inn. We got upgraded from a standard double queen room to a double queen suite. And plus, in the morning they provided a complimentary breakfast.

Stayed here for one night while visiting Bryce Canyon. Very clean and comfortable lodge style property. Great location to Bryce Canyon National Park, restaurants and shops. Large extensive breakfast. Liked everything about this BW except the fact that we had an adjoining room. The door adjoining the rooms are outside of the doorless bathroom. The fellow in the room next to us started hacking and gagging at 4:30am and continued for another three hours. Not only was the sound loud through the paper thin door, it was disgusting and it woke us at 4:30am. We explained this to the front desk personnel and they just said "we're sorry". Do not under any circumstance get a room at this place with an adjoining door.

This was a great Best Western hotel, the best we've stayed at. Welcoming lobby area, comfortable rooms, nice beds and an outdoor hot tub. The outdoor pool was closed as still early in the season. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Bryce Canyon National Park.

The room was Clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The lobby is very nice and breakfast was good! All it was missing is a bar!!! But there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. And the hotel is very close to the park entrance.

Beautiful Hotel with wonderful staff! Our first visit to Bryce Canyon and we picked the perfect hotel. Close to the park entrance, restaurants within walking distance and very helpful checkin staff. We were given a map of the area with lots of information right at arrival. The park was breathtaking, so glad we chose this adventure on our way back north to Canada.

Great hotel. Customer service is first rate. Wonderful breakfast included. Location is perfect for Bryce Canyon (and Grand Staircase Escalante). Probably better to visit late April or into May. Still a lot of snow on ground in early April.

Really enjoyed the stay. Excellent location just outside the main entrance to the park. The rooms were comfortable. The main building itself was how we imagined a lodge in Utah would be. Dinner and breakfast had an excellent selection of meat, salad and deserts. Friendly staff

This was an excellent choice for hotel at Bryce Canyon. Our beds were comfortable and the decor was very nice. Staying at the Grand allows you access to indoor pool at Best Western right across the street. Breakfast was good, hot and with a wide variety. Staff was very friendly and kind.

I will definitely stay here again. Hotel was nice, clean and cozy, rooms big, clean and well maintained. Breakfast above average but the one thing that I liked was the excellent service we received from the moment we checked in, we were greeted with smiles and felt welcome. Ulysses (not sure I got the spelling right) was very friendly and helpful. The staff looked and were very professional and friendly. It was a pleasure to spend my money at a place that appreciates my business.

Nice and spacious hotel, inviting fire in the lobby. Suite was huge and spotlessly clean, but kitchenette poorly equipped- had a microwave, sink and fridge, coffee making facilities, a dining table with four chairs but only disposable paper cups and disposable plastic flimsy glasses. Would have been nice to have a couple of wine glasses, etc. Also, noise insulation was poor; could hear conversation in room next door and someone walking around in room above woke me during the night. The included breakfast was very good, but very crowded.

Room was large, comfortable, and clean. Pool was closed due to ice/winter but hot tub was nice. The entry way is much nicer than an average best western. The free continental breakfast was the standout of this hotel. It was huge and of great quality! Best free breakfast buffet of any hotel we have ever stayed in. My one complaint was the noise of the people above us. When we checked in, someone had requested a top floor room and I soon found out why. It sounded like a stampede of elephants above us and kept me up for quite awhile.

Hotel is really nice and looks pretty new, we had a wonderful suite. We had planned to stay 3 nights but since the park was mostly closed and the gal at the front desk was less than friendly we moved on after one night. We did a two week vacation staying in BW and this was the nicest room but least welcoming staff. We ate at Ruby's the only restaurant open in town, which was a great meal and the waitress was so friendly and helpful she had worked for them for 40 years. I would recommend this location if you can't get a room in Lodge hotel and hopefully Becky was just having a bad day. Breakfast was standard BW with all the offerings and breakfast hostess was helpful and friendly.

We just enjoyed a three night stay at the Best Western Plus Grand Hotel and found this to be a very comfortable place near the park. Rooms were spacious, clean, and everything worked (AC, wifi, tv etc). Room had coffee maker and fridge which was a great help for us. Double sinks apart from the shower/toilet made it convenient. Queen beds were very comfy and we had very restful evenings after full days of hiking in Bryce and Kodachrome Basin. Daily hot buffet breakfast was very well stocked with above average breakfast foods (eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, pancakes/waffles, cereals, fruit, breads, etc. and this was included in our room rate. Ample room for parking. I have to commend the staff for ensuring such a quality place near Bryce NP.

Pleasant staff at check-in. Rooms are fairly new, big, bright and very well furnished. Our first time in a Best Western and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it is. Great location to the park. Lots of activities for kids.

Booked with the assumption they had an indoor pool for my family as was listed on Expedia show up and there is not one on site but instead one at a different hotel you can drive to. Would have picked a different hotel if this would have been clear on the booking.

We stayed at the best Western plus Bryce Canyon hotel in March 2019. When we checked out we accidentally left a bag of laundry at the registration desk. We contacted the hotel and a lady named Laurie offered to help us find it. It took her two days but she located it. She was just wonderful helping us locate the bag and offering to send it back for us.We highly recommend this hotel for your travels to Bryce Canyon. The staff is great!

We were on a driving trip through Utah and stayed. I was very pleased with the accommodations. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was good. I would not hesitate to recommend. I hope to return sometime.

Must see!! It looks surreal. Hiked down to bottom and across to the other side and walked back along the rim back to the car. Easiest is Victoria trail, almost anyone can do this even kids. Drove to nearby lookouts to fully enjoy the scenery.

My wife and I stayed one night. We would have extended if the weather hadn't turned too cold and windy/snowy for much sightseeing. The hotel was easily the nicest BW I have been to and the nicest hotel I have been in for a while. Seems quite new and is thoughtfully laid out. Being greeted by the fireplace was a good start on a windy, snowy evening. The room was large, and the double sink with separate toilet/tub shower was convenient and roomy. The beds were comfy and kept us in them until just before late check out. I would certainly stay here again next time I come to Bryce. We did not try the restaurant... slept through breakfast. I believe there is a detached restaurant for lunch/dinner but we went about 20 minutes to the Stone Hearth Grill and had a really memorable dinner.

There are not a lot of better options for a full service hotel in Bryce Canyon area. There is no restaurant at this hotel, but there are a few places to eat nearby. A breakfast buffet is served daily, but we did not take the time to visit so not sure of the quality. Coffee was available all day long in the lobby though.

Bryce Canyon was still very snowy and most of the hiking trails were closed in March, but we made the trip down to see what we could from the overlooks without the high season crowds. After we finished our sightseeing, we were very impressed with the Bryce Canyon Grand Best Western when we checked in. I've been to many National Park-adjacent hotels and villages where the lack of competition and remoteness leads to extremely dated, overpriced and mediocre accommodations. Not so at Bryce Canyon! We had a very nice queen suite room (free upgrade) with plenty of space and updated furniture and amenities. The free breakfast had a good number of hot options and there was coffee available in the lobby all day. It was very quiet due to it being the off-season which suited us just fine. There aren't many places to choose from near Bryce Canyon but I'd certainly stay here again!

This hotel is very clean and well serviced. The staff were friendly and they provided a nice welcome. The room quite large and had all the necessary facilities. Breakfast buffet was well stocked, with plenty of variety. We have stayed at this hotel on two occasions, two years apart and I would recommend it to family and friends.
