We were very happy to stay in this hotel. It was clean, and the internet worked great. It was next door to good places to eat and easily accessible to Montreal. We will stay at the Best Western again.

"Nicely Renovated Rooms"

I have stayed here many times traveling on business but it had been a while since my last visit so I was pleasantly surprised to see the wonderful, fully renovated rooms. Free breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking; friendly staff, good location, reasonable rates, and now the nicely renovated rooms make this hotel an excellent choice.

I have only stayed at 2 other Best Western hotels before, both of which were quite poor overall. The BW Brossard was nicely renovated, it had a nice staff and the usual satisfying complimentary breakfast. For a deluxe room I thought it was rather small, it was nice to have a door to the outdoors from our guestroom. The bathroom was also small and I would prefer a glass shower than the tub-shower combo offered. For a Best Western it was a nice choice, but this is no upscale hotel. If you have Best Western expectations and you are a usual BW customer, you should be happy. Enjoy!

we spend the night since our flight was the next day .the room was super clean, quiet and big. the morning breakfast included was great ! hot breakfast with eggs, waffles , all the food was good. The staff at breakfast were very friendly and caring . great place !

Clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast area is much better than average. Good location as it near restaurants, shopping mall, and good access to bridge to Montreal. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, spacious, comfortable beds, pleasant staff, free parking and wifi, great hot breakfast! Great value for the price. Easy access to highway, restaurants and shopping nearby. Approx 10 miles to downtown and old Montreal.

"Visiting family - wedding weekend"

My wife and I stayed here for just one night while we visited family after a family wedding. Staff were very helpful and the room was clean and the included breakfast was amazing, you are actually served breakfast and given various options, both hot and cold meals.

Terrible check in, the person never greeted us, looked at us while asking information to check in. She was first talking on the phone a full ten minutes, never looked at us, we were right there in her face. We were still in a good mood, hoping to enjoy the pool but we never got in the water, freezing temperature. Check out was just as "not-friendly" as the check in. Won't be returning, it's was a regreatable 180$.

Our first impression was not that great, but once inside the place was fine. The lady at the front counter was perfect. The breakfast was excellent and our room was clean. The breakfast lady was very helpful and cheerful. Thank you.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights September 12-15, 2018. We are from Winnipeg Canada and came to visit Old Town. There was Unbelievable construction on the bridges from Brossard to downtown Montreal. When we checked in the staff was fantastic. Gave us a map how to navigate construction to Old Town. Once we did it once not a problem. so don't let the construction keep you away. The staff was fantastic to us and could not do enough to help us. French/English was absolutely NOT an issue. (We are English) The hotel is very quiet and clean. The room was very good. The bathroom a bit small though, with not much counter space. Compared to Hotel prices close to Old Town, this was very reasonable for a hotel of great quality. Close to any kind of shopping you would need.. Old town was fantastic, lots of parking, best is at the old port. Easy access if you have your own vehicle. If we ever return we would definitely stay here again.

"Need to fix the hot water deficiency!"

I checked in late at 10:30PM on Wednesday, October 3. I decided to take a shower right after getting into my room after a long day in the road as I frohad comingflown in from Vancouver, BC and there was barely any hot water for my shower. Same thing the following morning for shaving. The hotel was obviously full with one large groug ofAmericans from Pennsylvania and another one from France. The current hot water capacity of the hotel is obviously not sufficient, even deficient when the hotel is very busy as I know the group from Pennsylvania arrived at the hotel past 8:30PM per guests I talked to. In the end, I am very dissatisfied and will not stay there again not recommend the hotel to anyone. The front desk attendant in the morning said to me this was not her responsibility, knew nothing about the problem and did not even apologize. I was not impressed to say the least. The hotel needs to get this fixed. Breakfast was good and the overall experience would have been fine without this lack of hot water...

The desk staff we encountered were not very friendly, just doing a job but not really enjoying it. The faciltiy was a bit tough to find because the signage isn't very big & the hotel is on a very busy street. All of the areas of the hotel were very clean & quiet. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. Breakfast was very well done with lots of choices of both hot & cold foods. The lady tending the breakfast area tried very hard to keep the selections available. Lots of room to sit for breakfast & the selection area was very open & easy to navigate.

We decided to stay outside of Montreal during our visit. We prefer to visit the busy cities then leave to quiet suburbs for the evening. You might not want to do this if you love the nightlife or like being in the center of it all. Pros: Clean and spacious rooms Fridge and coffee maker Very friendly hotel staff Hot American breakfast included Nice location on main highway. Easy bus trip to Centre-Ville Montreal Restaurants within walking distance Cons: The wifi would cut out once per night and I would have to log back in. Not a big deal for me as my phone alerts me when I am no longer on wifi. If you are taking the bus to downtown Montreal then using the metro, you need to go to a grocery store to buy a bus pass from Brossard to Montreal. $6.50 each round trip. Once you are at Terminus Centre-Ville in Montreal, you can buy a day pass for the metro.

Great staff, clean hotel, parking internet and breakfast included. The pool area was clean, the sitting area for outside was upkept. The breakfast had several choices, the girl working was helping all the guests. Thumbs up for everything

Very nice hotel with great people running it. The rooms were quite nice and comfortable beds. Breakfast was the typical Best Western quality with very helpful staff. We did not use the pool, however, it did look very inviting.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast, good service. However, one drawback was noise. We could hear other guests most of the night, whether that was because of thin walls and not great soundproofing, or simply inconsiderate guests partying in the hall is hard to say. We have used this hotel previously with no issues- disappointed this visit.

Hotel has been renovated, very nice good staff. Couple of issues we booked a room with a tub but got a very small shower. Other issue was we were over hotel laundry which ran 24/7 so the water cut in and out through the night.

Almost everything here exceeded expectations. The front desk staff, I don't know how to describe, seemed like they belonged in a world-class hotel. They were very good. Full hot breakfast - waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, toast, yogurt, etc. The room was perfect in every way, absolute cleanliness and attention to detail. Very comfy beds and everything. In-room fridge. The exercise room is full of modern well maintained equipment. The only thing about our stay that was less than great was the pool: The pool is basically a kiddie pool, 1.2M deep all around, cold, cloudy. There's a tiny sauna at the pool, which would probably be nice except kids at the pool keep going in and out, so it barely gets warm with the door constantly opening and closing.

Clean room, friendly staff. Mini fridge and Keurig maker in the room. The hotel was sold out and we never heard a peep from another room. Typical breakfast you'd get anywhere that is inclusive (bagels, toast, muffins, sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles, etc.) My only complaint is that the front desk advised at check in there was going to be a deposit on my credit card. No problem, that's the norm. $460.00 they held onto. That's a tad excessive. The hotel is starting to become slightly outdated, but not to the point where they must renovate right away. Overall not a bad hotel.

The hotel itself is fine and the room was fine except: - there was no reading light on one side of the bed and no night stand. - we had a second floor room and th elevator was out of service - we were never able to have breakfast as the three bus tours had filled ever table and the line of waiting guest stretched out into the hall. On the upside the room was basic but clean and staff were polite.

We always try to stay at Best Western & it totally paid off tonight as we got upgraded and had the most beautiful king suite. Lots of space. Separate bedroom & tv room. There was also a kitchenette with a fridge. The pool was a bit cool but kids loved it. Great place

We checked in Saturday August 4. Room and staff at the reception at the time were good. Since, we had an event Sunday we requested for late check out and was granted extension to 1:00 PM by the staff on duty on evening of August 4 ( We are best rewards member as well). However, to reconfirm the arrangement when we approached the staff on duty on August 5 morning around 8:00 A.M. to ensure the arrangements are in order as previously agreed with the hotel staff however it was flatly denied by the new staff on duty. I explained that the staff on duty the previous evening have accorded that consent and even noted this request in the diary, he still refused to oblige. I went further that I will be sharing my "displeasure" and lack of communication and customer care in my feedback yet this gentleman didn't changed his position. We had no option to re-scheduled our plans and do the early checkout.

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western Brossard. Because of a change in our plans, we ended up checking in for a second night after checking out earlier in the day, so we were in two different double queen rooms. Both were comfortable, quiet and clean, with air conditioning that worked well (though the controls were not as easy to use as some hotels—in one room the temperature was controlled through a non-digital wall thermostat so it was difficult to know what temperature we were setting it at; in the other room the controls were on the air conditioning unit, and we could not get the fan to stay on continuously). The breakfast was adequate and included both hot and cold choices. The front desk and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the front desk manager Pitchou (sp?) who was very supportive of our car troubles and gave a generous late check-out time.

1st time at this Hotel. Was a bit anxious as I was stayed in a lot of different BW across the Country. It can be unpredictable. This BW in Brassard QC was an excellent choice. Was OK'd for a late check out, I would highly recomend this Hotel.

Just took a chance with this Best Western after so many unfortunate experiences in run-down establishments of yesteryears. This newly renovated hotel (work in progress) feels fresh, clean with modern design, furnitures, amenities and very pleasant staff. What a difference!! Strongly recommend this hotel besides the very affordable rates. One minor hiccup: the sole & newly refurbished elevator in the hotel just jumps out from the 1950-60's department store era: you need to hold on pushing the UP button to keep the elevator going up; if you stop holding the button, the elevator will stop at once between floors. A bit unnerving experience. Reception desk staff confirmed there is no intention to replace the elevator. That's the reason only 4-star is given

We stayed here one night during a trip to Montreal. The hotel is a great value. Room was clean, comfortable and we had a door directly to the parking lot which was super convenient. Breakfast was nice and available in a lovely and bright sunroom. The location is great - just 15-20 minutes into the city depending on traffic. Parking on the premises is free. We much preferred our stay here compared to the Marriott downtown.

Ideal location - many restaurants within walking distance, some right beside the hotel. Close to convenience stores etc.. Very large room and bathroom (the standard room), extremely clean, comfy bed. Great value all around. Very pleasant and professional staff. They went out of their way to accommodate our early check-in request. We arrived after a long-drive and due at a function at 1:30 p.m. - they had our room ready at Noon which helped a lot. We've had good experiences with Best Western before and this one was no exception.

I had a room in the back of the hotel on the second floor. It was a walk to the room but it had no noise from the road and I did not hear the cars in the parking lot behind the hotel. Only thing I heard was people letting their door slam shut. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was included and was very good. Lots of options. Staff was helpful. I wanted to take the bus into Montreal and they gave me directions there. (Bus fare was $3.50. Exact change needed, which the staff was able to break my bills for change). It was a 15 minute walk to the Terminus Panama bus station but for me it's a better option than sitting in traffic in the road construction on Autoroute 10, then finding parking in the city. The subway is where you get dropped off of the bus. I would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel as a sports team. I found the staff and all the hotel policies to be extremely unaccommodating and unreasonable. I called and asked for a new pillow case and they asked me to come get it at the front. I normally wouldn't mind at all but there was and abrasive tone and not even a "please". I called 2-3 times for the water bottle in the gym to be filled. I asked for a key for our "party room" to have the kids eat in there before their game and I was told no (only 1 person was allowed to have the key ?!? - we are a hockey team, not sure how that makes sense, maybe 3 keys) We asked to use the breakfast area for our team pizza party (the room provided was way too small for all the families) and we were told no. We are always given access to these common areas at other hotel chains with no issues. We asked to extend our check out to from 11 AM to 12 or 12:30 in order to get to our morning game and then have time to come back and pack up and we were also told no.

This hotel was used for a business stay in the area for 4 nights and again for a 1 night stay the following week. The check in was great and the staff was very attentive, even recognizing me for my second stay. The room had adequate amenities and was very clean. all functions worked properly and the in room internet works perfectly. Breakfast was adequate with sausage eggs and french toast every morning, lack of variety was a downside but with breakfast included in the cost it was good.

Very pleased with our one night stay. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast exceeded my expectations. If I could offer up one suggestion...it would be nice to have a variety of pillows. There were 4 per bed (we had a room with 2 queen beds) but all 4 pillows were the same. It would be great to offer 2 soft and 2 hard.

So my stay is a little different than most, I stayed for 3 weeks in March. I started out at the ALT but it didn't suit my need, From the day I stopped in to check out the hotel to see if it better met my needs I couldn't have asked for better. From services provided to every staff member I encountered from the front desk to the maintenance employees. All had smiles on their faces and would help with anything you needed. I certainly can't remember everyone's name so the list won't be complete but Cudos and Thanks to Marissa, Shakira, Sabina, and last but not least Pitchu, and a shout out to everyone else. Standard best western located on major street and near the hockey rink.room was god size and very clean. Good and comfortable beds pool is small but fine for younger kids. Walls are a little thin and skip the breakfast as there are a couple of good places near by, or bring your own

Check in was slow, rooms not ready on time Line ups were 10 people to check in. Great location for our activities, which were in Brossard. Beds, rooms, amenities were all good, pool etc was good for kids. Internet so-so.

This was a last minute trip out to the city. I surprised my fiancé and told her that we would be spending the day out in Brossard and then spending the night with our daughter and cousin. The location is right on the main Street for Brossard. You can walk up and down the road but the mall is a little bit further down. We checked in with no error, and parked my car in front of the door and unloaded our stuff. The room came with two beds and was very clean. We put our bath suits on and went over the pool. While we were there was the only negative part of our stay. There were multiple kids with parents, jumping into the pool while the parents drank in and around the pool. Lets just say we didn't stay there long. The morning after there is a continental breakfast that was very good, it was very packed. But they offered everything from; Bagel, Cereal, Make your waffles, Orange juice, bacon, eggs and such. We chose to eat in our room but it was tasty. Would we stay here again? The answer is yes great price, pool, location and breakfast the day after. ? Tips: book on Price for a good deal Big Tip: free continental breakfast offered here!

"It's a room"

Title says it all. You get a room, nothing else. The room is average, no complaints. The pool area has so much echo that you can't even have a conversation with someone sitting right next to you. Especially if anyone is swimming. There is absolutely nothing else to do in this hotel. The lobby is one sofa and a chair. When we tried to have a glass of wine there around 10pm so as not to disturb our children, we were told we could not drink there. There were several hockey teams booked into this hotel and they were partying in the hallways .. since there is no where else to be. Makes it hard to sleep. Breakfast was nice, but that area is only open in the morning. Don't bother suggesting they open that area in the evening as they are not open to this idea. We cancelled our second night and went elsewhere.

This Best Western is located on Boulevard Taschereau. At first, I was hesitant to book my stay at this hotel but I was surprisingly happy with my choice. My room had a full size mini-fridge which was very useful as I had prepared my own meals. The room was very nice and had everything you need. It has a great selection of TV channels. Breakfast and wifi were complimentary. Breakfast could've been better, it was lacking fruits, I would say typical mid-range price hotel breakfast. The gym only had cardio machines and cables, not enough for me to do a good workout, I'm glad I had a membership at a gym not too far from there. Overall experience was great, super friendly staff and my room was always neat. Great for family or on business trips, affordable prices. Down sides: no complete gym, breakfast could be better and the AC/heat unit wasn't properly installed therefore there was fresh cold winter air coming in the room, nothing alarming tho. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room assigned to us with our online booking was too small. When we spoke to Marisa (the manager) and Victoria (front desk clerk), they quickly reassigned us to another more suitable room. They ensured we were satisfied with our new room and were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean, the breakfast area was well maintained, and the staff very pleasant.

I enjoyed my stay, since the room was very quiet, clean and the bed very comfortable. A few annoyances: The front desk staff was rather aloof... Sitting in the corner, I had to look for them to find them. They didn't always stand up to answer my questions. The elevator is quite difficult to use with a luggage cart. The water in the pool was way too cold.

That location is newly renovated, comfortable and you end up close to everything that you can possibly mean. You can walk if you are tempted or if there's no snow to stop you. The breakfast and internet are a nice touch. Personnel is friendly and glad to assist you in any way. Highly suggest it for those having to travel to that area.Wish we had time to take advantage of the pool but we were busy with family commitments.

We stayed for one night on our way home to Rhode Island. We were in Montreal for the day and evening and rather than fight the traffic out of Montreal the next morning, we decided to stay in Brossard to get a quick getaway. The Best Western is clean and comfortable. The free hot breakfast was good and included eggs, sausage, waffles and pretty much any continental type breakfast food. One unusual but well appreciated item is that even though access to the rooms is by an inside hallway, there is an additional outside door directly to the parking lot from your room. Since our car was backed up and parked next to our outside door, our bags only had to be carried a couple feet into and out of our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. One recommendation - ask for a room that is on the side wing. That is where we were and it was quiet. The street wing is fairly close to the busy road so I expect the noise level to be higher.

We needed a place to stay for a sporting competition in St-Philippe. This hotel was close to the venue and was easy to find. The staff were great and the rooms were very clean. WiFi worked great and it was nice to have a pool and a gym. Would definitely go back.

We checked in late, but were accommodated quickly to our room. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel area is convenient to the highways, not too far from Downtown Montreal, shopping centers/Costco, bus stations and restaurants are within walking distance, while some are a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to those interested in staying on the outskirt of the city of Montreal. Parking is free, only about 15-20 minutes drive to downtown. Parking may be a bit of a challenge so I recommend taking Uber.

Indoor pool wasn't heated. Ice cold. Didn't get the use out of it due to the temperature. Our room had a strong cleaner smell and we discovered a glade plugin in our room giving off a very strong smell.

we have been coming to this best western for over ten years.... . we had an issue once couple of summers ago,the manager was very responsive and we were compensated. it is located within 10 minute drive to downtown.LaRonde and major highways. This hotel is clean, provides a complimentary cold and warm breakfast and is very good value for the cost of the stay. They have a nice pool and gym for those wanting these extra amenities too. When looking for this hotel it has the appearance of a motel with doors on the interior and exterior, this would have been helpful to know when trying to find it while traveling late at night and in the dark as the signage wasn't illuminated due to a recent power outage, but this is a minor detail. The hotel is very well kept and updated and most importantly very clean and comfortable.

Stayed for 1 night. Check in in staff very friendly. Rooms were ok. A little bit of musty door in the hallways. Bed was comfortable. Fairly loud air system needed to turn it off. Faucets in washroom a little awkward but great water pressure in shower. All in all you get what you pay for. A basic room for a basic price.

I needed a stop between returning from Quebec and entering US. This was a perfect place to stop and conveniently located to many restaurants and shopping center. The rooms in the hotel looked recently been upgraded and is very comfortable. There is a quirkiness with the service elevator which added to the charm. You have to keep pressing the destination button (floor 1 or 2) for it to keep going. Cute.

I booked my room on the BW website. I was confused because they had so many room categories. I called the hotel and was told that "deluxe" meant that the room was recently renovated. I decided it was worth paying extra for a recently renovated room. I should have asked them to define "recently". When we arrived, I called the front desk thinking they did not put us in a deluxe room as we had booked. The room itself was okay and to be expected for a 3*, but I'd be surprised if it was renovated within the last 5 years. If the bathroom was renovated within the last 10 years, it was just a partial renovation. Tiles, sink, faucets etc. were all dated and did not look "recently renovated". We stayed in this room because we were attending a family celebration and did not want to impose on family by staying with them. We also thought it would be easier to get ready if we had our own room, showers etc. The problem with this is that the ventilation in the bathroom is poor, so that no one can use the bathroom/mirrors if someone is in the shower. the only other mirror is on the outside of the bathroom door. So while someone is standing outside the bathroom door trying to put on makeup, they get hit with a burst of hot steam, as soon as someone finishes their shower and wants to leave the room. There are NO other mirrors in this room and the lighting is extremely poor. I do not recommend this hotel if you have more than one female who needs mirrors and lighting to get ready. For all other needs, it's a typical 3* chain hotel. My only other complaint is that hotel staff were VERY slow in fulfilling requests for additional towels. On our first day, it took 4 requests before we finally got extra towels. The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and a grocery store and walking distance to the SAQ (wine and specialty beer). Getting out the hotel can be challenging because of a median in front of the hotel making it impossible to make a left turn. This is to be experienced staying anywhere on Taschereau Blvd. and not a fault of the hotel.

"Nice hotel close to montreal"

My family and I decided to stay at the Best Western while visiting Montreal. The hotel is close enough to Montreal and there is plenty in the area as well. However you don't have to pay the expensive price of the city. The lobby is nice and clean and everyone who worked there was helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was clean as well and the included breakfast although not huge is nice for something quick to eat to start your day. There is an indoor pool which my kids used and enjoyed, computers in the lobby which we did not use and a laundry area which we did not use as well. The hotel itself is walking distance to a few restaurants and a mini mart/ gas station on the corner. It is about 10 minutes from a shopping area and 15 from Montreal. This hotel is a great choice if you are in the area.

Hotel has been recently renewed with new carpets, decor and a chic looking breakfast area. Looks clean but ac system in room are still old with manual controlled thermostat. AC system can be loud at night. Hotel is far from main Montreal attractions (30 mind with traffic) but 10 minutes away from a brand new plaza Quartier dix 30. Good stay if you don't mind driving to all Montreal attractions.

Very practical location for a short visit to Montreal especially when you come by car. The City is easy to reach via the bridge. It is also very well situated for a visit to the Fort of Chambly which is only 10 minutes away. We also enjoyed the pool and fitness center. Can highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel in early August 2017 for 9 nights. Convenient location. Rooms on the ground floor open directly to the parking area - convenient for loading and unloading. Fridge and microwave provided. Rooms are small / compact - very limited space for more than 2 people. Beds are very firm. Musty smell in the room that seemed to be stronger in the mornings. Pool was not clean - appeared to be cloudy with an oily film - was not usable during our entire stay. One washer and one dryer for each floor - cost was $2 for a load - bring your own liquid soap. Limited amenities provided in room - bar of soap, mini shampoo and mini conditioner - no lotion or shower cap.

We stayed at your Brossard location as we had family living in the St. Hubert, and Beloiel Area, so this was very handy for us with plenty of parking and several Restaurants very close by, the rates are reasonable, the Hotel is aging and needs some up-grading, it does have Landry service which is required when travelling for several days.

We stayed at this hotel two years in a row. The first year the rooms ac was malfunctioning. I literally had to swap rooms at 2:00AM it was sooo hot. The next year, this past July, the same thing happened. When I told the manager, I think his name was Jay, he told me one of the two rooms we rented would be comped. I was upset because the vacation was terrible having 1/3 of the party tired and miserable from lack of sleep. I wanted a full refund. When I called the corporate number at home to complain I received a call from the hotel manager, the same guy. This time he claimed I left pee in the tub and blood on the floor. He told me he was doing me a favor by comping one room and not charging me damages. Mind you, this is a full week later. So I called him some expletives for lying and hung up. Sure enough, seconds later the full balance of the room is changed. Apparently the damages were the exact cost of the second room which was originally comped. So basically the manager was angry I called the main office and black mailed me with reports of damages and since he was mad he charged me for the full price of both rooms when they both should have been comped. I had to cancel my card and dispute the charges. The manager was such a jerk even the main office at best western could not convince him to work with me. Stay away from these jerks.

Great and clean location. Staffs are very friendly and professional. Rooms are bit small than other locations. Swimming pool is very clean. Break fast is unlimited. Prefer to have some cheese and chicken sausages mix instead of pork only. Some of our community don't eat red meat.

My dog and I had a great experience at the Best Western Brossard. We had asked for early check-in, but our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived and they endeavoured to get it sorted out ASAP. The rooms are clean and cool in the summer, though they are a bit dark. The wifi works well. I travel solo with my dog so needed help from staff to put together a breakfast plate for us to take back to my room and they were delighted to do so. Everyone at the front desk and the breakfast staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay here again when passing through Brossard. Note: if your dog travels with you there is a great "dog café that allows dogs in the restaurant and on their outside patio just down the street from this hotel called Hot Dog et Cie. That makes it a really easy and fun journey rather than having to stay in your room and order in all the time! Thanks to all the staff!

This hotel is near downtown Montreal and beside it are a number of stores and restaurants. The location is quite favorable if you are visiting Montreal, its not too far from the main centre of the city. The rooms are average in size and the beds are quite comfortable. The room can even accommodate a small breakfast table with two chairs. The only missing from the room is a microwave. We were assigned a room on the first floor with a door that leads directly outside the parking area.The price is quite reasonable for the location and wifi is free.

Great location to stay if you are visiting in the Montreal area. You avoid a lot of the downtown traffic and have all the amenities of the city Close to you. This is the first time I've stayed in Broussard and I will visit there again. The rooms were suitable but We stayed in the suite and it was excellent. I would recommend you take a suite if it is available.

Hotel staff was very personable and friendly. The room furnishing was dated but very clean. The mattress was very very comfortable. Only area where i felt improvement may be warranted was in the breakfast which was very fast food like, with plastic utensils and paper dishes. Otherwise, good hotel.

My brother and I stayed here during our visit to the area for the Formula 1 race. We expected a decent hotel but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised how nice this place was. Our room was in the building at the back of the property so it was pretty private. There is an entrance to the room from the hallway and from outside for the ground level rooms. We were able to back right up to our door to unload and load our belongings. We were happy that we had our portable chairs with us for the race because we were able to set them up right outside our room and enjoy the fresh air. The room was updated, clean and smelled nice. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. The pool area and outside sitting area were both very nice. This hotel is walking distance to the liquor store, grocery store, gas stations, and restaurants. We have no complaints and we would stay here again.

I enjoyed a small, clean, quiet and tidy hotel with very friendly and professional staff, nice breakfast and a little nice pool (but a bit cold). You will have the possibility to park your car just in front of your own room for free.The hotel is a bit far from downtown but there are lots of fast foods and restaurants next to the hotel. The weird thing was that I found no fridge in the room. There was also no slippers in the room.

Whole place under construction rentals in hallways, refrigerator didn't work all her food we bought the night before was rotten in the morning. Front desk didn't care when I told them. Breakfast was not very well well I'll processed food disgusting fake eggs.the breakfast area not set up right.you had to back track to get other things you needed and tooo crowded of and area. The rooms are actually pretty clean. Air conditioner is right beside bed which you can't run because you freeze everybody.huge black bug.doing renos at 7am making noise and all carpets riped out of hallways and not a great time to host a national event at.

"Under construction, but still good"

This place had a large section of rooms closed off for construction. Some noise, dirt, construction debris around, and lot of materials stored here and there. The regular breakfast room was in the construction zone so they served breakfast in a couple empty rooms at the end of the hallway, which was interesting, but seemed to work. The pool didn't seem to be working well as our son said it was too cold.

"Good value for just place to sleep"

We stay for 2 nights at this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Omar, night manager. I called the reception inquiring if they were able to store my 2 ice packs, Omar was exceptional helpful and came up to our room to retrieve them even though I told him that I will come down to give to him. What service!! Their complimentary breakfast was good enough to start your day. Our room was clean and a view overlooking the parking lot where we can view our car. Location of this hotel is well positioned where you can access Montreal quite easily and there is some shopping around the area.

"Money talks"

First the good bits. The hotel and the rooms within are an excellent example of modern and comfortable accommodations. Despite the "terrible" rating on service and value noted below, be aware it is not due to the front desk staff, the troops on the front line. They are exceptionally polite and skilled at their jobs. The "terrible" rating is due completely to the management team. That's where the good stuff stops. The management team is focussed solely on their own welfare and convenience. Understandably (as the title suggests, money talks), they booked in a large group of adolescent hockey players (at least 4 busloads). However, in anticipation of their weekend off they abandoned their least experienced, newest front desk member to the inevitable results. The Best Western Brossard became the "House of the Slamming Doors" and fire alarms were being pulled well beyond midnight on both nights we stayed there. I'm not saying don't stay here ... I am saying do your due diligence and ask plenty of questions before you book through this management team.

"Place to stay when going to visit family"

We like the location as it is close to family and where I grew-up. The location is very convenient as well for restaurants and shopping and access to Montreal and the Eastern Townships. The price includes breakfast and the have a fitness room and pool.

Convenient location close to many restaurants and shopping. Ample parking, easy check-in, front desk staff were pleasant, room was clean, wifi was also included. To clarify the hotel has a "lift" and not an elevator for the floors higher than ground.

The hotel was under major renovation. The breakfast room wasn't open, so they served an okay breakfast on the second floor in an emptied out room. All the kids said the pool was rather cold and there was no hot tub. The gym was okay, but only one treadmill, one elliptical, and one bike.

Great place excellent service and close to quartier 10/30. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast selection is good although they were renovating the eating area they were able to set up temporary quarters for breakfast which was fine. Would go back to this hotel.

What a great place to stay! Very courteous staff and a friendly atmosphere. They even let us check in early as we came from our long drive from Northern Ontario. My boy loved the pool and it was close to all amenities. Perfectly bilingual staff which is a must for me because I am not French speaking. The only downside was not having a microwave in my room and the playpen given was dirty looking. Other than that it was a perfect stay. Thanks so much for your hospitality.

"Great staff, clean older hotel"

All the staff I encountered were bilingual and very knowledgeable of the area, helpful. Bed was very comfy, all dressed in brilliant white linen; equipped with the usual amenities. Vanity, tiles, lamps a bit dated and although they are doing renos I felt the price was at the maximum I would pay for its condition. Oh yes you still have to hold the button in while waiting for the elevator.

This was our last night of a 5 night road trip that took us from Brampton, ON to Sydney, NS. We decided to stay in Brossard, as it would be just outside Montreal and lodging would be fairly affordable compared to downtown Montreal. We were simply passing through, so basically just looking for a comfortable bed and a pool for our son. When we checked in we discovered that we had been upgraded to a one-bedroom suite! Fantastic! Particularly since we have a little one, having all the extra space for him to crawl around was great. We lovingly referred to our room as the Liberace suite; a nod to the mirroring around the massive jacuzzi tub adjacent to our king sized bed. But down to what matters... the bed was comfortable and big enough for the three of us, the room was very clean and the kitchenette had everything we needed for our ordered in dinner from St. Hubert. The pool is salt water and a nice change from the chlorinated option in many hotels. I've seen some people complain about the elevator and that you have to hold the button down to get to where you need to go. This is an older building and there are only two floors. To be perfectly honest, for the price paid (which includes breakfast) suck it up. Holding the button isn't the end of the world. This isn't a boutique hotel in the heart of Montreal, it is a Best Western on the outskirts of the city. As such, I rate it for what it is. I truly don't have any complaints, but I also wasn't expecting a fancy hotel in the heart of it all nor the prices that would accompany such lodging. Our visit was booked through CAA and I had no issues booking online and would do this again.

"I wouldnt go back unless I cant find another hotel"

I stayed there for 2 night, I had luggage's and the elevator wasn't working or it works but you have to keep your finger on the button till it comes, and keep pressing inside button till you arrive, if you remove your finger the elevator stops in the middle, the first morning I went for breakfast which was almost nothing, if they had boiled eggs and cereal would have been better, the had the food in disposable plates pieces of a hand cut cheddar cheese, cereal and frozen juice I saw the lady mixing it in the sink. I believe their restaurant is under renovation. I went the next day to MacDonald's tato eat breakfast, The location is really good and close to everything. Staff are bilingual which is amazing and they are helpful. Also they didn't give me a receipt and for some reason I forgot to ask.

It was a long day after flying in and presenting my products to a group of 20 prospects. Then driving in Montreal, which I don't know well, and where there is a lot of construction meant I was looking forward to relaxing and getting a good sleep. The hotel was inviting, the staff friendly and lots of choices for dinner within walking distance. Parking was excellent and the upgrade to a suite was especially appreciated!

We booked last minute and were limited with hotel choices. Location is good if you have a car, which we did. Breakfast wasn't the best and it was really annoying having a waffle maker and a bagel toaster as it took forever to go through the line. More ready things would have been better and more options. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. Our air conditioning stopped working and so we were moved to a new room and that was good. The hotel receptionists were welcoming. Overall, it was an ok stay.

"Enjoyable Stay"

We stopped in Montreal for two nights on the way to Quebec City. The hotel was comfortable and suited our plans. Rooms were clean and staff friendly and accommodating. After studying different modes of transportation into the city we decided to drive, Mid morning we encountered no more traffic then we do in the Washington, DC area(frankly far less). There are parking garages all over the city and for $20 Canadian we parked in a garage all day. We took a Greyhound tour of the city and covered all the sites we wanted to see. After the tour we found a local brewery on Rue St Catherine where we had a very good meal. The hotel location made leaving the Montreal area for Quebec simple.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and found it to be comfortable and had good beds, pillows and good sized rooms. I would have given it an even higher rating, but we found they had 2 bus groups staying overnight and had not prepared for the continental breakfast for that many. The sausages were gone, juice was gone, seating was difficult to find and the help could not keep up with the amount of people coming through. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for one night after a Spartan race. When we checked in we had to wait a very short time for the room to finish being cleaned and when we went up to the room was very surprised to see that they had upgraded our room. We enjoyed the two nights we stayed here. The beds were really comfy and the hotel was pretty quiet. The pool was great after a long hot day of touring around Montreal. Breakfast is included - it's just average, however it's enough to get you going in the morning. All in all this hotel was perfect for our stop in Montreal.

Booked here to get out of DT Mtl and it was a good choice. Great staff at check in. Pool was good for the kid. Everything was as it should be- clean and tidy. I would recommend staying here as an alternative to DT Montreal any day. Only thing funky was the elevator/lift - not a full standard one.

Beautiful hotel, very clean and updated, modern bathroom, nice balcony in a lovely area accessible to the historic area by car or bus. They also offer a free shuttle to the historic area. Stayed while visiting the historic area and the Ste. Anne/Beaupre area.

Located in close proximity to supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations, the Best Western Hotel Brossard offered a comfortable stay although situated away from the city center. Loved the lobby area where the green apples on offer offsets the white interior beautifully.The staff were friendly and we had a smooth check-in. Breakfast was the usual Best Western spread and value for money. Tooms were spacious and comfortable. Would recommend for business travel as well.

this is our family hotel whenever we visit montreal.... . it is a ten minute drive to laronde 6 flag park. and to major shopping outlets... . parking is free (unlike downtown hotels) close to casino. essy access in and out of montreal (no downtown traffic yet it will take 5-10 min to get there).

This hotel was on our way home from the maritimes. We stopped for the night. Hotel room was clean and fully stocked. Room had a mini fridge and a single cup coffee maker. Bathroom could use an update but was clean. We ate at the breakfast buffet and although we went late it was fully stocked and had everything we could have wanted. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

"Mildew/Unclean Rooms"

Booked stay through BW Points - We've stayed in other BW's over 30 times this past year. Upon entering first room immediately smelled a mildew/mouldy door, looked in the outdated A/C unit and found source of issue. Requested a room change and was placed on upper floor. Still had faint smell. - Old candy wrappers by bedside table and beside couch, if that wasn't enough taking our first shower noticed the shampoo bottle previously used and the drain completely clogged with hair. Reported and was just given a new shampoo. Made 2 noise complaints second night due to children running up and down hallways past midnight. The staff was always kind and "understanding". All in all, not our first choice.

Nice pool for kids, room very clean and good size super comfortable, keurig coffee maker absolutely great in the room. IF I need to be back in Brossard I will stay there again for sure. The staff is nice, polite and courteous. The breakfast area is lovely including plenty of food choice. Do not hesitated to stop by !

It was not the best but not the worst you can tell they are trying to make it better. The biggest complaint I have is they have swimming lessons in the pool where the instructor leave their stuff laying around and their clients eat on the pool deck and leave their garbage. The pool could use a more regular clean.

"Solid hotel, should be the standard for all BW+'s"

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Bed and linens clean and comfortable. Bathroom and shower in order, good shower pressure, hot water. Huge bar fridge for snacks and drinks. Pool area small, but good for young families.Breakfast was plentiful with eggs and sausage. Waffle machine needs to be fixed though. Great location if you're in Brossard or need quicker access to SE Montreal. BW+'s have been hit and misses for us. This location however, should be a model example for the rest out there. We are happy and will return.

"Not to BW standards"

The room was fine, quite spacious actually. The bed was great as was the WiFi. The common areas were clean and appear to have been upgraded. The bathroom in our room was in terrible shape. Neither the sink nor the bath tub drains worked properly and this is bothersome. The faucet sets were really old and difficult to use. The breakfast area was poorly stocked at 08:30 and the dinning area area was a mess. Most unacceptable and not to BW standards. The hotel is well located so that is a selling feature. Also, I hope my experiences are the exception and not the standard for this property.

"Visiting Montreal for the weekend"

We made short notice plans to go to Montreal for the Canada Day/4th of July weekend. We Americans didn't know it was Canada day and had trouble finding relatively reasonable accommodations in Montreal proper. But Brossard ended up being a nice option just across the bridge. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was highly chlorinated!! But our kids had fun. This site ended up being a perfect place to stay as viewing the fireworks from the south side of the Saint Lawrence was easier! The breakfast was typical fare and well stocked.

"Really nice!!!"

We are staying here for part of our family road trip and we have no complaints!!! It has outside accessible rooms which makes is so easy to bring things into the room because you can park right outside your door. They have a little pool that is perfect for kids and a little laundromat right around the corner from the pool. The roomwas veryclean and updated with comfortable beds and pillows. There is a little kuerig in the room too!!! This is definitely a great hotel that isn't too far from away from everything!

"Nice clean rooms and well upgraded hotel...BUT...."

I really only have 1 negative thing to say about this well upgraded hotel, but let me start with the positives. - The rooms are clean, very clean. - Sheets and bedding are extremely comfortable and clean. - Bathrooms are free of mould and smell and have nice towels. - Swimming pool is a total bonus and it SALT instead of chlorine, which is amazing. - Has a great work out room, although small. - Liked the staff and everyone was nice. - The elevator was a bit scary, but it worked. So here is my criticism - The BREAKFAST... ugh...at first glance it looks amazing with lots of options but once you start everything is plastic and EVERYTHING is disposable. Plastic cutlery, plastic plates, paper cups and plastic jams. The berries that were remarkably not in a plastic, but were frozen. The waffle maker, was jammed with left over waffle, when it was pointed out to the server, she just shrugged. The eggs were rubbery and I'm not sure they were even eggs. We made so much garbage from our meal that I was embarrassed and shocked. There is absolutely no reason for such waste and they should immediately fix this problem. Recycling is everyones problem and a hotel that doesn't even use plates and cutlery is a serious problem. There is also a Keurig in the room rather than a coffee maker...which also promotes bad environmental practices. This would be a great hotel if they can start caring about the environment as much as they care about the rest of it.

"Avoid if other options are available"

Spent one night at CA$181 on business travel, and hardly slept all night. Squeaky bed, and worst of all is the fan coil HVAC unit. When I tried to turn on AC at night, the unit was so loud that I had to turn it off in a minute because I was afraid it would wake up the entire floor. Never heard so noisy HVAC unit before, and I travel regularly due to business reasons. The room floor was dirty. When I was working on my computer at a table, did not even notice there was a potato chip on the floor (and I did not have chips at the hotel that day) until I stepped onto it. And was surprised not to have an express check-out bill under the door in the morning. I guess certain amenities are taken for granted over time. Bottom line - avoid this hotel if you have other options.

"Close but needs work"

Paid full price online for King size bed and was upgraded to a suite which was very nice, didnt get any sleep unfortunately as the back parking lot was full of tour buses and some sort of maintenance vehicles running all night, one tour bus didn't have enough room to turn around and hit a parked Ram truck,, he left the parking lot promptly without admitting it...I do not recommend this hotel if you have a car you do not want dinged or scratched.

"Mediocrity at its worse"

Arrived Friday afternoon to a room that wasn't what had been booked. My confirmation says King bed with pullout and we had two double beds. Not that big a deal but I paid more for the King. Our room smelled horrible from start to finish. At first we thought it would dissipate and, to be honest, the longer you were in the room the more you became accustomed to the odor. But as soon as you left and came back in it was terrible and seemed to get progressively worse as the weekend rolled by. We would have changed rooms but didn't get back to our hotel until late each day (midnight the first night and 9-10 pm the second.) The Sunday morning when we checked out I told the staff at reception that our room needed to be looked at because it smelled so bad and their response was "your room is already paid in full, go write a review." Really? First of all I was not asking for a refund or compensation of any kind, I was informing them that there was a problem with a room that they should look after so that other guests don't experience the same displeasure I had. The breakfast wasn't very good at all. The advertised sausage was not available and when I asked was told they never have sausage. Basically the breakfast consisted of wet scrambled eggs, dry french toast or stale doughnuts and a few fruit. We skipped it day 2. Our bathroom was clean and the shower worked very well. <-- the only positive. Would not recommend, nor would I return.

"Just what we needed"

We drove eight hours en route to a funeral, stopping for the night in Brossard before completing our trip the next day. We wanted a very comfortable bed, a quiet night and a good breakfast before we got on our way again. That is exactly what we got. Although there were sports tournament participants throughout the hotel, they must also have been tired because there was no noise in the hallways. The hallways looked a bit dated but the rooms were clean and fresh. And did I mention comfortable?

"Lovely hotel"

Reception staff was welcoming in both languages. Even though I showed up ahead of check-in time, they were very accommodating in ensuring that my room was clean and ready for me to check in early. Room was immaculate. Nice, restful stay. Weather was horrible but they had the parking lots cleaned bright and early.

"Dated and slow to react"

We stayed the week end of Feb 12, 2016 for a nearby hockey tournament. Check was quick and painless. We booked the room on Expedia several month prior to arrival. The room was typical in size, the furniture in our room was very dated and on a couple occasions had to be reassembled after use. The carpeted baseboards had pulled away from the wall,not a big deal but was concerned that it would get worse and possibly a trip hazard given that it was at the entrance area of the room. I asked the front desk to have it repaired but was told the maintenance person finished at 4 pm and someone would repair it the next day. We returned to our room the following day after 4 pm and noticed that the baseboard still wasn't repaired and also that housekeeping had not cleaned the room. After informing the front desk of the issues they sort of nodded in unison and stated that it would be sorted out. After about an hour or so someone from the cleaning staff knocked on our door to provide us with fresh towels and told us to place something against the baseboard to keep it from falling in the pathway, which is what we had been doing over the last two days... Breakfast was less than desirable, eggs were still frozen in the center at 7:30 am, we chose the coffee which was fine and opted to visit the restaurant next door for a hot breakfast instead. We were approx. 12 families travelling together and I was surprised when it appeared that all the other families had renovated rooms and were placed on the second floor and they stated they had booked directly through the hotel website or by phone and our room was on the first floor across from the (small) elevator and adjacent to the lobby and was not renovated in fact was looking very dated but was functional. Will probably consider choosing another location next time we are in the area, taxes in the room was 150.00 per night and lacked some of the attention and service one would expect from this chain. The kids however enjoyed their stay (exception was the frozen breakfast).

"Decent Hotel - Good Value"

We stayed at this hotel in July 2015. The rooms were pretty standard. They were clean, spacious, and had comfortable beds. The breakfast however was quite cramped and very disorganized. The front desk staff were a bit unfriendly but they could have just been less comfortable speaking English despite them being quite articulate. The hotel is close the Champlain Bridge which is the gateway to Montreal.

"Nice clean and friendly"

Stayed at this hotel/motel for a hockey tournament with my son. The staff was friendly and accomodating. We had some schedule changes which forced us to cancel with little notice. The management was accomodating and understanding...they did'nt try to gouge us for an extra night like so many other places do. The room was impeccably clean, linen brisk white, beds very comfortable. Rooms a little tight with twin queen-sizes, but was fine for us. Enjoyed the first level-outside-access and tasty warm/full/buffet breakfast. A very good BW if that's what you are looking for. 15 mins from downtown MTL by car (must however cross the bridge).

"Good value for the money"

Great hotel and really good value for the money. We enjoyed the patio door on main level to unload our luggage. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Very friendly staff and great location with restaurants nearby. The negative is the furniture is dated and the pillows are a bit hard but overall the hotel is really nice. We didn't get the opportunity to use the pool but the complimentary breakfast was really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Good value for a really nice hotel in a great area, about 15 min. from Old Montreal"

This was a very nice, very clean hotel. The breakfast included was great, lots of choices and tasted good. The front desk staff are outstanding. They are knowledgeable and very willing to help with restaurant and sightseeing tips; Terrence, Anthony and Guancarlo made our stay much more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again. The pool is large, salt-water, the only very small drawback is that it is only 1.3M deep everywhere.

The room was clean and quiet. There was a strong smell of deodorant after every clean. They could a little easier on this. Breakfast was very good. Service was very pleasant. Would stay there again. Location was very good for our stay.

"Cozy and very clean"

Our office books this chain quite a bit and I decided to use it for a leisure trip this time round with friends. This place was great VERY clean and especially warm and cozy. The most amazing thing though was the bed. It had to be the MOST comfortable bed we've EVER slept in. This is one of the reason I stay there as often as I do. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with the continental breakfast. But other than that we had a wonderful stay.

"Amazing Value"

The breakfast had great selection, staff was amazing. The hotel is situated near many different restaurants and entertainment. Truly enjoyed our stay! We were able to check in early, room was clean and we stayed on the ground floor so had the option to exit/ enter directly to your room. Pool was warm and clean.

"Good Hotel for the Location"

If staying in the Yonge-Eglington area in Toronto, this hotel is a good choice. It may be 2-3 blocks from Yonge St. but it is an easy walking distance to the TTC subway station to go where you want in Toronto. The only thing that can be improved is having a dinner service at the hotel.

This hotel has great staff. The MAJOR disappointment was with the breakfast fare and its quality. The room first assigned was not ready and had to return to front desk. However, the staff was able to relocate me to another room. Since I was there only to sleep as I was visiting family, my stay was for one purpose - SLEEP (beds were fantastic.

"Take the "Best" out of Best Western! at this location"

I have stayed often at this location for business, when needing to be on the South Shore, convenient location. Unfortunately, that is where it ends! It seems that this location is going downhill. Rooms smell of smoke, internet WIFI unreliable, Breakfast inedible - shall i stop at this point. No longer worth the BW points i am earning. On the plus side, the staff try to be accommodating but for some reason, over the years, this location seems less well managed.

"Very happy in all respects"

we had a couple of good nights with this hotel and had no complaints. The hallways were a maze though, with a good distance to walk to the front reception. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast room was exceptional with the decor, design, with plenty of sunshine coming in through the beautiful windows.

"Comfortable stay"

Pros: Friendly staff Room is clean. Good breakfast. Food is refilled quickly even when there is a "group tour". Room has direct access to parking lot. This makes loading/unloading very easy. Cons: Pool is a bit cold Room is a bit small

"Move to our new home"

While waiting for my new home to be ready to move in, we stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The room was very clean although the smell of product "frabreese" used in the room was a little overwhelming, but after a few hours of venting it was fine. The beds were very confortable. The location of the hotel was excellent. not far from malls Boston Pizza (accross the boulevard) and what became our new "go to" Italian restaurant (Pasta Tutti Giomi). They are pet friendly, which is good with 2 large cats and a Boxer dog. Good stay overall.

"Close but not too far from Montreal"

We purposely chose a hotel that was not in downtown Montreal. The main reason was price but we also didn't want to be driving and trying to park downtown. This hotel fit the bill. As someone else said, it is not as nice as some Best Westerns but the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and the parking was free. It did not have a mini fridge. We definitely missed that. It was convenient to restaurants. The staff was very helpful with suggestions on how to see Montreal. It was about a 15 min. walk to the bus station. There we took the express #45 bus into the city. It costs CAN$ 3.25 and they want exact change. We didn't know that so we ended up paying $5 each on the way there. We made sure we had the exact change on the way back. From the main bus station it was another 15 min. walk to the old city and Notre Dame Cathedral. The next day we got right on the highway and headed toward the US border without having to deal with the city traffic.
