Best Western Hotel Nettuno

Decent hotel, nicely decorated on maritime theme, with large parking lot and very kind staff. The breakfast is not bad. Unfortunately, the hotel is located right in the middle of nowhere, next to the ferry boats embarkation area, about 25-30 minutes walk from city center. Not a good choice for those who want to explore the city.

If you are looking for a great hotel for a business trip in the area, this is the ideal location. The hotel is very clean and well presented, Wifi included with good signal, the staff are fantastic throughout the hotel, in particular reception, which by the way is manned 24 hours a day and very pleasent and welcoming, they go the extra mile to provide anything you maye need in the hotel or information regarding the town of Brindisi and places to eat. The hotel has its own restaurant which provides a great choice of food via set menus each evening =, although closed on a Sunday its only a 25min walk into the town or 5 min taxi ride at reasonable rates and hotel will even book for you. Rstaruant staff are attentive and after a few days will recognise your preferences and are always very welcoming in particular Maria, Angela and Antonio I have attached pictures of the food I had recently, which was fantastic. This is my 5th week here for business with zero complaints, only positive things to say. Wouldn't recommend for family holiday, more towards business travel hotel, although that said the rates are very good and its only short hop to the town in a taxi and if you have a hire car theres plenty of free parking available.

Restaurant food is set meal with plenty of choice,staff are very pleasant and caring in particular Maria, Angela and Antonio service with a smile and always helpful and remember your favourites. Very nice and comfortable hotel convenient for ferries. Good size rooms and air conditioning was excellent. Everything was spotless. All the staff were charming and helpful. The buffet breakfast was exceptionally good value for 5 euros. As an added bonus one of the staff (Damiano) gave us a lift to the airport as he was coming off shift even though it was out of his way. This was way beyond the call of duty

The hotel is a bit old but the attention of the staff makes it worth a visit. Special mention to Maria, very nice and really helpful. As I don't know what else to say but I have to put more text I will say that the location is not the most appropriate for sightseeing but ideal for business visits.

We chose this his hotel because it had parking, unlike a lot of other accommodations in the area which only have on street parking. I did not realise it was on the other side of Brindisi and more in the port area. The drive to the hotel was a bit run down and the hotel was at the end of the road, past the shabby area. The hotel looked really lovely. Palm trees and nice landscaped areas around it. Actually, a great base to explore the local region. The staff have been excellent and the restaurant is a hidden gem. The breakfast is delicious and dinner was superb. A very relaxed eating environment with the most helpful staff. They speak English very well also. Reception staff were great as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Great service - both at the reception and at the breakfast. Maria was an outstanding breakfafast host who attented to all of our needs and was so so sweet. I am vegan and she made sure I had everything I needed fir a great breakfast (there were many vegan options availible and a really great fruit salad!).

This was a nice hotel but there were a few issues. The air conditioning did not work and the controller is hidden behind the bathroom door. There was a radiator in the corridor that was very hot and appeared to be on 24 hours a day. I had to open the window but not for long due to the noise from the nearby industrial area. The hotel itself was very smart and located very close to where I was working. The food was good both for evening meals and breakfast. The staff all work extremely hard. The room was spotless and serviced every day. Despite the minor issues mentioned above I would still stay again.

Desperate for a Covid test to return home the staff arranged for a pharmacy and a taxicab to allow me to get the test and return home. The rooms are nice with good views of the harbor. The room was spotless and the linen crisp. I had a little problem with the shower but all else was wonderful.

The mosquitos enjoyed my stay, as I was bitten to pieces. The air conditioning was disabled for all rooms (due to Coronavirus) so each day was a delicate balance of trying to apply the zeroth law of thermodynamics between the volume of air contained in the room with the atmosphere at large, whilst simultaneously not presenting biting insects with an ingress. Food was basic.

The hotel is not at Brindisi center (half an hour walk or 15€ taxi), since it is located on the other side of the shore, but it was a nice surprise. It has clean and decent rooms. What impressed most was the generosity and sympathy of the concierge on duty. Always available to help he suggested places to see and to eat which were very nice. And although the restaurant of the hotel isn't open for lunch at this Covid time he actually went to the garden to pick up some fruit for us at lunch time. Five stars treatment!

I chose this hotel as I believed the description saying the downtown area was 600 meters away. Well - it is but only if you are Jesus Christ and can walk on water to cross the harbour. Our room was at the end of a corridor that was not lit until you walked down it (saving electricity i guess). The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the room had non-functioning light bulbs, and only two available electrical outlets to re-charge phones and plug in a laptop. Breakfast was the usual collection of cold meats, cheese, breads and pastries. Ask the waiter for a real cappuccino rather than using the machine. The worst feature of the hotel was the internet. Previous reviewers have mentioned this, and it appears nothing has been done to improve it. It was impossible to connect to the hotel wi-if in my room (perhaps because we were so far down the corridor from the single router on the floor). I ended up having to use my phone and cellular data so that my wife could take care of her email. Overall - not up to Best Western's standards

I stayed here on two separate nights, the breakfast is included, and air conditioning in rooms worked well. The hotel is located on a quite waterfront but be advised you GPS may mislead you to exact location. My only complaint I had is the WiFi is horrible. Then again throughout most of Italy any advertised “free WiFi” is about as good as dial up was 20 years ago. Anyway, WiFi didn't work in the room. When I stayed on first floor the best signal was in the stairwell, when staying on second floor it's best to bring chair out in the hallway and sit underneath the two antennas from the router poking through the ceiling tiles.
