Excellent location. Easy access. Wonderful breakfast. Great choices, hot coffee, something for everyone. We stayed in second Bldg. Less street noise. We had level access which we requested. No stairs. Close to downtown Branson. Located on hill. Might need to drive if walking is an issue.
Had to give up 6-day trip to Branson. Called each hotel and cancelled, including this one. Each told me it was cancelled, including this one. None charged me BUT this one. Then had the nerve to send me a survey!!! Tip: if you have to cancel insist on cancellation confirmation number/code. Do not accept their word "it has been taken care of".
This hotel is newly updated, very clean & within walking distance to the Landing. At the price we paid with free parking and free breakfast, it was a great value. Staff was friendly, we've stayed here a number of the past prior to the renovations and will stay here again.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. All amenities were available. The room was previously a smoking room so our allergies did flare up. I think motel chains should be required to let guests know ahead of time that the room had been smoked in before. The exit from the parking lot requires watching traffic come over a hill so that was a little stressful.
Five fresh fruit choices, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with at least 5 different toppings, yogurt, cereal, pastries, and a coffee bar for breakfast. Clean, comfortable room with comfortable bed. Near downtown and The Landing shopping and entertainment area within walking distance, free trolley stop at hotel meant we didn't have to get into lots of traffic.
We really enjoyed our visit at this hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. Perks were a Great bed, fluffy towels, and an awesome hot shower with great water pressure. Surprised how cold the refrigerator kept my drinks. Located between Branson Landing and the highway which made it easy to get around to the attractions.
The rooms I thought were small. No carts to bring things to room. Beds were comfortable. Great location. Even has a trolly stop out front.
Had a great time staying at the Best Western Landing View Inn in Branson. Big room with 2 double beds, plus microwave and refrigerator. 24 hour pool is lots of fun. Free breakfast is delicious, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Nice safe neighborhood close to attractions but not in the high traffic zone. This was our second stay there and we loved it.
Hotel is at a good location for Branson Landing and also has easy access to the Branson many shows, shopping and attractions. We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always had a good experience. It has an above average well maintained breakfast. Also, has very good comfortable beds.
While I was at dinner they rented my room to two adult males - they did not advise me of this mistake, I only noticed my bag had been moved and went and had to find out at counter - ANYTHING could of gone wrong if those men hadn't went back to counter and told the room was occupied! Our bags and everything were in there. I'm so glad the men were honest but the hotel should have called me immediately & let us know what they did.
Just a quick visit to SDC with a morning of shopping, needed a clean place to stay and sleep. The room was clean A little noisy with room location being so close to ramp with people walking by and pool was closed entire stay which was disappointing overall would likely stay again for a quick one night trip due to value and cleanliness of room
Staff was very friendly, breakfast had good variety and hit the spot and the rooms were very clean! Mattress we slept on I wanted to take home!!
Where we always stay in Branson, great hotel in a great location. Everybody is so nice. Keep up the good work!
I recently took a group of teens to Branson. We stayed at the Landing View Inn & Suites. Staff was friendly, rooms were adequately clean.
My wife and myself went to Branson for our 14 years anniversary. The breakfast was good had a variety of choices to start the day out right, hotel staff was very friendly,Room was clean, hot tub was very enjoyable.
If you like vintage you'll like this hotel. I can only review our room in the “A” building. The room was cramped and musty smelling. We should have moved but it was a long day and decided to stick it out. There are no luggage carts on the property however staff offered to help us. About the only thing I can say positive is that its location to downtown Branson and the Branson Landing is very walkable and saves the parking headaches. We will not stay here again.
This is my go to hotel. I love the location! We normally go to Branson just for a little one or two night get away as we are both bartenders in our little podunk town and want to see new faces lol I always request the room next to the indoor pool. Staff is always accommodating my request I love that they leave you bottled water for your coffee in the morning. I've stayed here multiple times in the past and I've never had a bad stay I highly recommend this hotel. The location is everything if you're just going to Branson to eat, and have some drinks with your friends. Also wonderful for families these rooms are very large and very very clean thanks Best Western landingHope to see you again soon!!!
Front desk clerk was the absolute worst. This hotel has such a great location, the trolly stops right by the door. Generic, basic pool was still a nice amenity to have. The most PHENOMENAL coffee bar. This truly takes the cake and is what made this property special.
Our experience with Best Western Plus Landing View was a extremely bad experience and would not reccomend this hotel. The first night we were there did not get any sleep due to traffic all night and they even give you ear plugs during your stay now we see why they do.My husband went to the office explaining our first night of this their reply was well that happens then they moved us to another room in the back of the hotel which was not even cleaned from another person staying in that room again my husband went back to the office and explained that room wasn't cleaned so then they send us to another room which had been cleaned so we went into that room, but when we left to go visit family then came back to our room we couldn't even get back into our room because they had closed off the key which opens the door..so the again my husband went back to the office explaining we can't even get in our room because they had locked that card for our room..there reply was if you don't like it then go somewhere else and stay...We said no because we had paid reservations to this hotel just make it right for our stay.. Talking about being stressful through all this bs.we will not reccomend or ever stay at this hotel again...If it was possible to rate this a 0 I would but in this review I do rate this a 0. Not a happy customer worth this hotel.
We have stayed here a number of times for local tournaments or weekend getaways. It is easy to get where you need to go. The pool isn't anything to scream about but it is year-round other than one month in winter when they do maintenance. Good breakfast. Family freindly. Clean. Super nice staff.
The only good thing about this hotel was the man who checked us in. The rest of the hotel is unacceptable for the following reasons: 1) Breakfast is only served from 7-9am. People on vacation usually don't wake up early, and most hotels in Branson serve breakfast from 6:30-10AM. We had to pay to eat breakfast because we were not going to wake up early on vacation. 2) Room 308-we had the hardest time trying to find it (another guy was trying how to get to the 3rd floor when we left for dinner), and you have to have 20/20 vision to see the small numbers outside. Plus, we went around the entire front building and we only found 1 way to get to room 308. If there is only one way to get there, what happens of there is a fire and the one way is blocked? Also, the room is mostly outdated. The carpet needs to be replaced or deep cleaned, some parts are coming up, and the lamp shade by one of the beds has stains. I am sorry to point out so many concerns, but we go to Branson 3-4 times a year and we usually stay at Lodge of the Ozarks or Branson Best, but I chose Best Western, and it won't happen again.
The accommodations were wonderful. The trolley stopped right in front of the lobby. The pool was very clean and accessible. The room was updated with a large TV, plenty of towels and comfortable beds. The bathroom was outfitted with nice hardware not found in standard rooms. Even a handicap bar to mishaps. Special touches like a night light beside the vanity. Great breakfast!!
Great service.. Nice clean clean room.. Quiet and comfortable beds. Easy to park..great location.. Easy to get to your room.. Dark curtains!!! Very nice towel folding and nice water pressure in the shower.. All in all...great experience for us
Went to our room to rest after a long day, wife took a shower I laid on the bed and watched TV. When I got up I saw a black thing on the bed, touched it with the TV remote and to my surprise it moved. I then took the spoon and things out of the plastic bag by the coffee make to put the black thing in. The black thing was a BUG, I got dressed and went to the office. Clerk apologized and ask if we wanted a different room, I told her it would be a different room or different motel. She gave us a different room, when we got to the new room turned the bed down and found very small black spots on the sheet. We were too exhausted to move again.
Had a bad experience at another hotel (Docker's Inn), and called them late at night on 8/31/23, they had openings and took us in. We left on 9/3/23. They had a new gal working with an uncommon name, but wow did she save us! Kudos to her! We stayed in A121 and it was real decent! A couple things I can talk about that were not great at this place and why I didnt give a 5-star was that its extremely hilly, but not a huge deal for us, we are walkers, just have an old dog. The other couple of things is the noise level, felt like the walls were paper thin, but they did accommodate by leaving ear plugs at the night stand. Lastly, the smoke from outside of our room seeped into our room. The breakfast the whole time we were there was absolutely ABOVE mediocre every day. They have a fun automatic pancake machine (parents should run so it doesnt get broken), but fun for the kids to watch, and other hot food items. Its worth a stay here, and if your in good walking shape, you can walk downtown. Its not a far drive to the strip either. No pictures for me means no problems. The one suggestion I would have for the hotel would be to make designated smoking areas away from the rooms, as the smokers near us , filled our room inside with smoke smell and our son has asthma.
This hotel is so disappointing. Mainly because it is in such a great area and I felt safe but it's like they know they don't have to try to stay in business. The bed was clean and bug free, but the general cleanliness was lacking. I walked around for 10 mins barefoot, and my feet were completely black. No one is cleaning the floors. The rooms are depressing, but have the things you need. A staff member drives around on an extremely loud motorcycle. I mean very, very loud, intentionally loud. I recommend paying the extra $100 and staying at the competition down the street at Branson Landing.
Stayed one night. Polite and friendly check in. Very helpful. Nice clean area. Good parking. Standard breakfast in a nice clean area. Convenient to local attractions. Rooms were easy to access and very clean and quiet.
We were given a dirty room at check-in. They promised us a $50 refund but only gave us $25. The rooms are very small and the walls are thin. You could hear people walking by all night. Very disappointing stay.
This hotel is a great value for the price. Nice rooms in a great location close to old Branson. Zero noise other than crickets and tree frogs. We would definitely stay here again. It does have exterior doors which I normally would shy away from but we felt very safe.
I stayed at this hotel because it advertises that it has "Tesla Destination Chargers." Plural. When I arrived, I discovered that there was only ONE charger for the entire hotel and it was across the street in an unlit area. Even worse, it was NOT a destination charger as it was only providing my car 6 miles an hour of charge whereas a Tesla Destination Charger typically gives at least 25 miles of charge per hour. Thank goodness that I arrived with some charge left or I don't know how I would have reached my next stop the following morning. When I pointed out to the desk clerk that it was not a Tesla Destination Charger, she told me, basically, that beggars couldn't be choosers. Imagine telling a guest who was hoping to use the swimming pool and finding out that the only swimming pool available was a kiddie pool, that beggars couldn't be choosers. This is the first time I've stayed at a Best Western property in a long time and it will most likely be my last.
Staff was excellent-immediately addresses issues with AC in room. The bed and pillows were super comfy and soft. Short walk to convention center. Breakfast changed daily- a lot of choices. I would stay here again.
Make sure if your military that you find some other place because you'll not be treated well at this hotel. I don't know what this hotel does when the Purple Heart Association has it convention here. Find some other place that at least appreciates your time in the military.
We stayed in the back building, 3rd floor in a king suite. It was quite even though they were totally booked. The bed was very comfortable which means so much! The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
Staff was very welcoming and informative when we arrived. The room was clean, beds were comfy, rooms were a tad small but this might be normal on the Brandon strip. I like the location in between the landing and a little bit from all the action of museums and entertainment. Breakfast was good, and the washer and dryer is free!
The staff genuinely make you feel like a welcome guest. They were friendly and helpful in all encounters we had. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The breakfast was pretty good. It was fresh and the ladies worked hard to keep it filled and fresh.
The Best Western Landing View is the best of the Best Westerns in Branson. Right up the hill from the downtown shops and only minutes away from the Landing. Its right on the Main strip you just have to drive up the hill a ways and you'll see the lights! When we stay we usually walk down to see the downtown shops but we usually drive down and park if we go to the landing. We could easily walk the whole way but one thing to know about Branson is to be prepared to walk. There are also Trolleys but we either walked or drove. the breakfast was great. the Jacuzzi in room was fantastic to soak in after a long day shopping. The King sized bed was fantastic and the rooms are clean and well cared for. My family and I always enjoy our stay! We will always come back!!!!! :)
I've stayed at this hotel twice. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is really pretty amazing! Several hot items plus fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels, cereal, and danish. There is also a specialty coffee bar with about nine choices of coffee and hot chocolate. The area of the hotel is also very convenient and is close to historic downtown Branson! It's also a trolley stop as well.
Clean and comfortable room, good amenities, reasonably priced. Easy to find and good parking spaces close to room. Bed was comfortable, Friendly staff. Room had enough space for three people without feeling cramped.
The hotel is right in the historic district and right by the river. Great walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. The hotel is older, but lots of character. Location was close to 65 so took no time to drive to other destinations.
Compared to other hotels/motels in the Branson Landing area, this one is more affordable. It offers a nice breakfast with great variety, clean facility, could use a little updating. If you are wanting a hotel near the Branson Landing area of Branson, know that it is about a 3-block walk up a very steep hill, but the free trolley stops right in the parking lot. It is also not walkable to the main entertainment area of Branson. Free parking and breakfast also make it more affordable than the other Branson Landing hotels.
This was an older hotel but very nice overall. Close to old downtown where we walked from the hotel so didn't have to worry about parking. If you want to stay in the old Branson area and be walking distance to the shops, I would recommend staying here.
Excellent service and very accommodating! Great location. Amazing staff and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back to this hotel on our next trip to Branson. Branson is such a lovely town with so many things to do.
We opted for the king suite with jacuzzi for a night of relaxation. The overall facility was clean and seemed great for a family stay! I did not see the purpose of additional money spent on the room we had when the view was of power lines and the jacuzzi had awful hot water pressure and it took a long while to fill the tub. Overall I would stay there again just in a regular room.
Clean, quite and a good little place to stay. Close to the landing!! I highly recommend staying here especially if you want to be close to everything. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff was very sweet and friendly. Quick to get us checked. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.
Great location within walking distance to downtown shops and the Landing. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. Staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
The TV service stopped working while we were there. Then when the service was restored there were on only 48 channels consisting of mostly junk channels. The hotel was in an area of high traffic. This resulted in complete gridlock most of the time.
I was not greeted as a BW member, nor did they ask if I wanted points or snack. The rooms and pool area are dark, and the pool lights were not operating. Also, we were in 201 and oh my goodness, we heard everything taking place above us, so if you want quiet, do not stay in 201. I do appreciate they gave us a room close to the pool as requested. Breakfast was not bad, but the sausage/turkey links were unacceptable. The location is fantastic and easy assess to the Landing.
Looked at hotel on website. Looked great and a good place to stay. Not! Old hotel that is not taken care of. Shower leaked. walls are swollen. problems with door. problems with tv and cable. Maintenance people were accommodating and nice with problems. Breakfast was good. but!
Clean property, great breakfast. A no drama stay which is what we like. This hotel is also a stop on the Branson Trolley so it's handy to take to the Landing. Because of the layout it's a challenge for them to map their site, but it's not hard to figure out.
The location was great. We were able to walk to historic downtown Branson, and Branson Landing. The train was fun. Really like the convenient location. Was located easy to reach the Yellow Route, Blue and Red.
Nice accommodations and staff. We are RVers so the cozy room worked for two people. Downtown Branson is very hilly, use “Sparky” the trolley service as much as possible for shopping on the Landing. It's already Christmas in Branson, you will come away in the spirit of the season!
Jessica and Judy have horrible customer service. Hotel is very nice but they made the reservation process extremely painful. They suggested I am free to stay somewhere else, that's after I was disconnected 4 times. This was an upsetting experience. Trying to make a block reservation for 3 days....
Cons: Heat/air was hard to adjust...either too cool or hot. Couldn't seem to get the "in between" temp. Not a big deal, while we weren't there, but a bit challenging for bedtime. Also, we found a couple of dead bugs, that hadn't been swept up in the cleaning of the floor (otherwise the room was clean) The vanity area, though pretty (it was in an orate cabinet) didn't have much room to put your toiletries out on. Pros: GREAT front desk staff. Very accommodating! FANTASTIC mattresses (best 2 nights of sleep I've had in a LONG time) Fast and tasty breakfast. PERFECT location...easy to get onto the main Branson "strip" and just a couple of blocks from Branson Landing. Very quiet, well kept grounds (outdoor maintenance men were very nice) and plenty of parking. Overall, would definitely stay there again.
Rooms are spacious, clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast, hot and ready to go. Didn't use the pool -- a hot tub would be nice! Located close to the landing/downtown area -- had a lovely early morning walk next to the lake.
This hotel is right at the edge of downtown Branson on Main, so you are near a lot of great shopping and eating within walking distance. The rooms are cute and quaint, very clean. WIFI works well, plenty of TV stations. Breakfast is great. It is a little noisy on the front side of this property because it is right next to the main street where you enter "Branson Shopping Land"...so they do provide some ear plugs on the bedside table. The level of noise depends on the time of year and time of day. I still love it here.
Great location for shopping, eating, and walking. Clean facility with nice breakfast. Nice indoor pool facility too. Close to some unique shops and restaurants in Branson and Hollister. Level 2 Steakhouse a must..located in Hilton Convention Center.
We stay at Best Westerns all the time, and this one did not disappoint us. As usual the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were superb, and the room clean and comfy. It was centrally located to everything in Branson, from the activities on the “Strip”, to Branson Landing.
This is a nice hotel in a good location within walking distance to the Branson Landing.. Our room was nice, comfortable bed and lots of cable.channels. The breakfast was good and all of the staff were super nice. It was our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary goodie bag as a gift. On the downside, the pool really needs a good cleaning and the steps into the pool are unsafe. We would stay here again when we are in Branson.
Hotel was conveniently located. Great breakfast. Loud noises at night. Parking on a slope. Bathroom is very small. The beds were pretty comfortable. Could not connect to the internet. Would not stay here again.
The rooms at the Best Western Plus were small, but had clean bedding and towels. Good breakfast selection. Didn't swim, but pool was available. Only one ladder to get in the pool and no real steps for small children. Great location, within walking distance to downtown Branson.
Pool: needs a good scrub. Green scum around the inside of pool edge. Wheelchair lift not in working condition. No steps into pool only ladder. Pool is 3ft deep. Looks like they are trying to update the hotel. I have never had such good shower pressure in a hotel before. The minus to this is you cannot change the setting on the shower head. It felt like tiny needles. The AC unit for the room was not the greatest. I am hot natured so this was not good when you been out all day and come back to a room thats 82 degrees. I am going to say we were in a heat advisory while we were there. So maybe it couldn't keep up. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. My son said the pull out bed was comfortable as well. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, and biscuits and gravy. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay in Branson. The motel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast included items like scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, make your own waffle, yogurt bar, and better than average coffee. I would stay here again.
Breakfast wasn't ready, too many people, not enough food. Pool had scum on the sides, room was dark, broken faucets in the bathtub/shower. For almost $600, it should have been better. We arrived and were upgraded to a king suite but we wonder what the other room was like.
Room was nice, clean. Breakfast was adequate husband said. Was absolutely affordable compared to a few other places we considered & checked on in that area. Close to main street & Branson Landing which was really nice!
The hotel is nice and within walking distance to the Branson Landing. They have a menu posted in the breakfast room so you know what there will be each day. The pool is also open 24hrs which is really nice. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
We booked this hotel not realizing there would be a hot breakfast everyday (menu posted for the week). Excellent price for the amenities. 24/7 pool, which was great with late evenings and kids still wanting to swim (most pools close by 10pm). Awesome location if you like the landing and the old strip, very close (walking distance). Wish beds had been bigger, a full bed is just not big enough for two adults to sleep well, but beds were comfy. I loved the non smoking facility (rooms smelt clean). All in all a great experience, will book here again if we return to Branson.
I stay at a lot of Best Western hotels and this one is at the top of the list for worst ones I have stayed at. I will be choosing a different hotel next time we go to Branson. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.
Great clean rooms close to the Landing. They have a wonderful breakfast bar with bonus for me waffles. The rooms were clean the beds were very comfortable.I would most definitely book a room here again in the future
I'm a BW platinum user. The breakfast was sad & bad. No coffee?. Serious?? Beds were very soft. It was close to the entertainment. Very disappointed in the quality of the breakfast and bed. Did not sleep well. Moved to different hotel after two nights.
We loved staying here. Great price. Walking distance from the Landing. Free breakfast, Pool open 24hrs. Workout room. Clean rooms with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. We will be back and stay longer.
So friendly and clean ! Beds are soo comfortable! The room was home like with ceiling fans and beautiful decor. Stayed in the king deluxe with hot tub for two. Loved the lighting around the floor made it romantic! Staff was so welcoming and helpful sharing information we needed to make our anniversary amazing ! Loved how close we were to the landing and being able to walk around and not have to fight the traffic.
I can't say enough about this hotel. We arrived quite early, hours before check-in. We wanted to go explore but had our bag on the back of the motorcycle. The front desk safely stored our bag for us and gave us plenty of good advice. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. It was 95 degrees and they made sure water was available at no cost. The side street where the hotel entrance is has a covered overpass. It was the perfect place to park our motorcycle, out of the heat and the elements. Check-in was a breeze. Our room was a decent size, with a king bed and a couch. Everything was clean and functional. We were easy walking distance to the Landing, which was perfect. When it was too hot, we caught the free trolley down. The stop is right outside our hotel. Nick, who worked the front desk, was kind enough to hold the trolley while my husband changed his shoes. Nick is a definite asset to this establishment. He was so welcoming and helpful. When I went to buy cold water, I was offered a free bottle. Anything I asked was answered with patience and insight. The breakfast was delicious. The menu changes daily. We had eggs, ham, waffles, biscuits and gravy. There was yogurt and fruit cups as well as fresh fruit. The laundry was free and so appreciated as being on a bike, we travel light. We came to see the fireworks and they were the best we have ever seen. Spectacular. You can't beat this location or the price and most importantly, the service. It felt like you were welcomed home, even if you was your first visit. The parking lot is on a hill but there is plenty of parking spaces that are more than adequate. Parking the bike on the flat road across from the lobby was helpful! Don't hesitate to book here if you want value and location and great service.
5 rooms booked for 11 people from 3 different cities and it could not have gone smoother. Manager Jessica was ready to help with anything we needed as well as the Room Cleaners who were kind nice ladies. The 24 hours pool was enjoyed by all the breakfast menu and helpers were the best. Enjoyed the outside areas for family time. Close to Downtown and Close to the shows. Perfect Best Western in Branson for our needs.
The room we were given was in a corridor so there was no natural light. The room was shabby and dated. The carpet was worn and dirty, the small copper sink in an old vanity was hopelessly stained, the room smelled musty and of stale smoke. The bedding was clean and the bed itself was okay. Good location a few miles from the strip, but we would not stay there again!
This is a really nice hotel. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a lot of little extras to make your stay more comfortable. The Branson trolley makes a stop there as well. The breakfast was REALLY nice with a very ample selection of hot or cold food. I even noticed gummi bears for kids to put in their oatmeal which I thought was a nice touch. As I said, lots of little extras. I plan on staying here again!
Usually traveling with a pet, I have found BW's to be purr-fect. I generally also appreciate their jacuzzi suites for my aches and again, the cleanliness and amenities are welcomed after hours of driving. Even during COVID, the take-away breakfasts were good, but now that they are back to the normal hot breakfasts, the choices and quality of food choices cannot be beat. BW is a 10 in my book!!
The layout of this hotel is very dangerous is you have difficulty walking it if you require use of a wheelchair or any assistive device. The handicap spaces on very hilly and even entry ramps to room hallways (which are outside) are very steep. Any where you park in parking lot, including handicap spaces, are located on high hill type, uneven surfaces. My mother almost fell twice just trying to get to her room and the parking lot. Very dangerous layout
When I called weeks in advance to ask for a quiet drive up- walk-in room I was told no problem. Check in was 3pm and they had a nice room in back that we could park in front of. When we checked in at 3:05 , the place was virtually empty and we were told we got one of their nicest rooms. We should have checked it out immediately but were in a hurry to meet friends at the Landing by 3:30. When we got back around 8:30 we couldn't find our room but we were in back of the hotel which has 3 separate buildings. The problem was our room wasn't in the rear…it was in front on a busy main road. It wasn't close to parking or walk in. Here's what was laying on the nightstand between the beds! There was no switching rooms at this time and very little sleep at all. Worst hotel ever! Excuse given was the person entered the wrong room in my reservations and in the morning told my wife noise was due to boat show? Never again!
I love that the hotel is close walking distance to Old Town Branson & Branson Landing. The pool is great for kids. The breakfast was clean and tasted good. The hotel room provided cleanliness and comfort.
My review is based on our specific room on the lowest level (a king suite with jacuzzi), so may not apply to other rooms. I would rate other areas average. The room was very damp with a strong musty scent, but I did not want to get my trip with my 6- and 9-year-old off to a negative start by requesting a different room. In hindsight, not such a good idea. My son and I developed sinus issues/cough after a few days, which resolved quickly after leaving (and, yes, COVID tests were negative). The door to the room and the closet would not close properly, to the extent my kids couldn't get the door to latch properly. It took days for swimsuits to dry out. I noticed black mold/mildew dots all around the bedroom vent. Luckily, the kiddos stayed happily unaware. The broader pros and cons based on our stay: Pros: -K cup coffee in room -Convenient location for walking plus trolley stop -Great water pressure -Friendly staff -Many breakfast options with chilled bottled water -Jacuzzi and separate TVs were highlights for kids Cons: -Inconsistent room servicing (may have to call/get things yourself) -Overall, a bit outdated -Beds and pillows were lumpy -May have an uphill hike to get to the lobby/pool/breakfast In summary, I think this hotel could be a decent choice if you're going to be out and about visiting Branson attractions, assuming other rooms don't have the dampness issues. If you'll be spending quite a bit of downtime in your room or prefer shiny and new, I would look elsewhere.
My kids and I stayed for 2 nights, everyone was nice and pleasant, Breakfast was good, pool area clean but no towels, and not fair from a few fast food restaurants and/or Branson attractions so that a plus!!
This Best Western Plus was not in the middle of the "strip" but was very accessible to all the events we attended. When we checked in the desk attendant on duty was extremely helpful. She gave directions to restaurants and also gave a listing of the shows available and their prices for the week.
If you are looking for a hotel near The Landing that doesn't completely break the bank, this is the place to go. Great location, nicely updated rooms with super comfy beds. Staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.
Our room wasn't cleaned the day between a two night stay. No fresh towels. Trash left in room. Michelle at the front desk blamed us. We were in the room. We were gone from 1:30 pm until 10:00 pm. But it's my fault
I'd reserved this hotel primarily because of its excellent location, my group was on a tight budget and the hotel seemed to have all the things we needed. Check in was super welcoming, fast, friendly and professional. Our room was easily accessible and much nicer in size and comfort than we'd expected for the money. Everything was decorated very tastefully and spotlessly clean and it was apparent that the staff took great care in maintaining very high standards. Breakfast the next morning was hot and delicious and served in a modern, clean and comfortable dining room. We were all very impressed.
Extremely overpriced for such a small uncomfortable room. Pool had no stairs only a ladder on the side so my little ones couldn't even begin to try to swim. They said the hot tub hadn't been in service in years. Way to pricey compared to the quality and comfort of other hotels.
Stayed two nights because we took the train ride - Older hotel , but very well maintained! Bed was comfy , parked right outside the door - Pretty reasonable price for where we're from too! Couple hundred a night for jacuzzi suite! Breakfast was a little lite , though - First off , coffee machine ran out of coffee about 5 minutes to 7 , and breakfast was at 7 .. Eggs , biscuits & gravy with sausage links were served by the attendant .. it was OK , but nothing to cheer about!
The staff was very friendly. The pool was clean. The map and directions to different areas were confusing. The heat and A/C were not quite working properly and the outside noise was very obvious. I think that for the price it did not quite deserved the stars it was given.
For the price I could have stayed at a 1 star hotel with better rooms. We had flashing lights, water not draining good, and then housekeeping knocking the next morning to clean room when we not only told them the day before NO but also had the, 'DO NOT DISTURB" sign up and they kept knocking about 5 to 6 times until I got up and said do you not know what your own sign means.
Very nice hotel, it is close to the Hilton Conference Center. this hotel has a very nice heated in door pool. they have an excellent breakfast. the staff are friendly, helpful and helpful. the trolley come right to the door to take you around town.
The hotel is a few blocks from the landing area. All doors are on outside of the hotel. Bed was just ok. Breakfast was very good . Walking distance but hilly in area. Hotel is a bit dated rooms were fairly clean. Restaurants in area. Parking free and easy.
Room was clean and ready when I arrived. Staff were fantastic, breakfast great, and afternoon cookies in the lobby were awesome!! It was within walking distance of the historic Branson Downtown and close enough to walk to the Hilton Convention Center where our AQS QuiltWeek was held. Jeannie B.
The website did not show that this was a motel style room. There were dirty smudges on multiple things around the room, the covers had stains. Beds and pillows were comfortable, pools was heated and open 24 hours. Friendly staff. Dirty coffee maker, but they brought a new one right away when requested.
Me and my family of 5 stayed here for vacation on Branson,mo.if your looking for a hotel in Branson for vacation this is we're you would want to stay 1 block from downtown and maybe a 5min walk to the landing and if you don't want to walk the trolley you can ride for free has a stop at the hotel I never had a problem with my stay everything was great
Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Fun pool. A little noisy due to location on a busy street. They did provide earplugs. The pool was nice for my 7 year old daughter. Close to downtown Landing area.
The Best Western Landing is one of Branson's premier Woke properties! By woke I mean prepare to be awakened every fifteen minutes between midnight and three am by every cowboy and street racer in Branson if you stay in any room on the south side of the building. This is a great property, but make sure you request a room on the north side facing away from Main Street!
Definitely will stay here anytime we are in Branson! Nice rooms, very clean, fast internet, great breakfast, awesome staff! The price of the room was very reasonable. Plus side we were able to travel with our furbabies!
We stayed at this Best Western for three nights in late December. This was our first time at this hotel, and it worked very well for us. The location was great for us. It was within walking distance of Branson Landing. It's also very nice just to walk along the river, even if you don't want to shop. This hotel is not luxury by any means, but it was clean, had adequate water pressure and decent towels, and was not noisy. Actually there was some traffic noise, but it didn't bother us at all. They could improve the internet - I ended up using my phone as a hotspot in order to stream Netflix, and that really shouldn't be necessary anymore. Also, the mattress managed to be both way too soft and kind of lumpy, so that could be improved as well. The rooms do open to the outside, with all exterior corridors, but I don't mind that at all. Breakfast offerings were fairly average.
Stayed one night and was very satisfied with hotel. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. No issues at all. Parking was nice as was able to park close to room. Check in was a breeze with very friendly staff.
Enjoy a nice walkdown to Branson Landing past local shops (Dick's 5 & Dime) and ice cream parlors. It is close to many restaurants & shopping (Bass Pro). There are activities near by-boating, zip lining, etc. Clean rooms & friendly staff.
We enjoyed our stay here. Close to everything. We were surprised at check in that we had been upgraded to penthouse suite-it was great. Though the property may need updating overall it was a great experience.
This hotel is a great location and good parking if you are going to The Landing. A great perk is the indoor pool that is open 24 hours. Included breakfast was very good. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here.
The staff was warm and friendly, the rooms clean and breakfast filling, tasty and hot. The mattresses were absolutely terrible. I have no other words to describe it but I can't submit it unless I have written out 200 words.
I stayed here with my 80 year old mom. I asked for a handicap room and they were able to provide us wirha ground level floor. The bathroom had rails in the bathtub and next to the toilet. There was also a shower chair that also was provided if needed to use. Refrigerator was nice and cold. Lighted bathroom light. Super soft beds if you like soft with lots of pillows. USB ports next to bed. Friendly staff. Pool looked nice. Did not use. I did notice that it looked like it had a wheelchair lift in it. Hotel is on a hill, as is Branson. I just held onto my mom and we made it just fine. Trolly makes a stop there,, did not use it. Great place to stay and would stay again.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Denise at the breakfast area was so personable. Front desk agents were great as well at every aspect of my stay. Location of my room was perfect. While I expected noise being on the main road it truly was not bothersome at all. I slept great.
Great place to stay in Branson. Have stayed there before and always had a good experience. Taken grandkids and had a good time. Breakfast was better than expected because of COVID restrictions. Helpful staff. Breakfast ladies work very hard to take care of your needs..
Best Western Plus Landing View inn and Suites was the perfect place to stay in Branson. Just a few blocks from Branson Landing, Branson Train Station and Branson Conference Center. A tourist shuttle serves the hotel hourly so that you can avoid hard to find parking in historic downtown, and the steep hill that takes you a few blacks downtown. The breakfast at the Best Western was excellent and the pool was warm! A great hotel in Branson.
Rundown rooms, lack of cleaning, items broken in rooms, beds falling apart. Dresser/tv stand ready to snap in half due to weight from mini fridge. No housekeeping for 4 days. New mattresses neede in the room as they were sagging and slanted badly.
Front desk staff was very helpful and went out of her way to find the accommodations we were needing. Our room was clean and comfortable. We really liked the location, we parked our car once we arrived and didn't need to move it until checkout.
The room was comfy and cozy and clean but way to small for 4 of us in a room! The sink vanity area is very small. Breakfast was great. Before making reservations, I called to speak about getting adjoining rooms and as close to the breakfast area as possible due to my 86 yr old mom! I don't know who I talked to, but said that would not be a problem to accommodate us. I was asked to call again the week we would arrive. I made reservations after being told we would be accommodated. Made reservations July 8th. In the memo part of the reservation, I again wrote what I needed. I called Nov. 1st to confirm our needs. I was told should not be a problem! I get there on the 4th, and there was a problem! I did not get the adjoining rooms and I could not be promised adjoining rooms due to the fact the computers select the rooms! UGH!!! I'd think this day and time, computer choices could be over rided! OR maybe it was just this hotel! We finally get 2 rooms and realize my mom would not be able to walk to the breakfast area because of the steep hill down and up! So, she wasn't allowed to go to breakfast with us, one of us got it and took it to her in the room. Had she gone with us to breakfast, she'd been so tired already for the rest of the day! This was so upsetting to me –(I'm from Texas and she is from Arkansas, this time is so precious to us!) after I did everything to pre-arrange for her convenience! SO, I check out w/ Nick after being in 2 rooms for 3 nights. When Nick asked, I told him! He told me I should have been accommodated. When he said that, I started crying! My sister told me, never again, here!!! I DO NOT want a generic reply to this either! It's all BLAH BLAH to me!
Located within walking distance to the landing. Lots of great shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again when traveling to branson. Great place to visit any time of year. The rooms here are great
I stayed there a few days. The Staff was friendly on checking in. The rooms were a little small and furniture dated. They had USB charging plugs in the lamps. Close to some fast food places and downtown. It rained most of the time I was there so didn't get to walk around. There is a Trolley stop at the Hotel that will take you some places. I would stay again.
Parking sucks you are parked at an angle when you open your door it wants to come back on you and it is not handicap accessible when you have to walk so far to your room on the other side of the building
I walked into the lobby and there was a sewer smell. The lady was not overly friendly, there wasn't a thank you offered. I felt like the room was overpriced for the quality. The refrigerator had leftover food and drink left inside. Bed was hard. I will not return.
Good hotel. Great location. The room was comfortable and it was very clean. Always a plus. With a trolley stop on location it made getting around very easy. The breakfast was very good, and the serving area was well laid out.
The staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean! Only issue was that the jacuzzi tub was hard to turn on. However, it worked. Breakfast was also great! We will definitely be staying here again.
Pleasant accommodations close to historic downtown Branson. Clean comfortable room and nice breakfast. Nicely decorated rooms. I always stay at this hotel when traveling to Branson. Would highly recommend.
I have traveled from Indiana to Branson 2 times this year, and stayed at this hotel both times. The staff is friendly & accommodating, and the rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable. I stay in the back building, and it's pretty quiet considering all the traffic on the Main Street in town. Nice hot breakfast is served and I liked the staff serving the food so you didn't have to touch the utensil handles. I also didn't mind the to go containers that it was served In. More sanitary this way. Lighting in room is a bit dim, but other than that, the only complaint I have is having to walk on a slanted parking lot, and my car door got dinged because of it. Other than that, it's a nice place to stay. I'd recommend it, plus it's within walking distance of a lot of shops. If you have a handicap, you will need to drive. Oh, and also if you're handicap, you have to drive around to the back of the building to get to the dining room, unless they allow you to use the little elevator, but I only saw the staff use it to bring breakfast from kitchen and clean up. Overall, good place!
A nice property, well maintained and cared for. The stay was made extremely nice by the very courteous and helpful staff...every individual I came across had the same enthusiasm to help. Just catch the cob webs on the windows. I know Halloween is upcoming, but yeah.
Rooms are beautiful! Shower head is awesome. Beds are comfy. Staff is wonderful. Even little things like the soaps and shampoo are of high quality! Wife says the towels are rough but I didn't notice that .
The accommodations at this place are very good. The rooms are generously sized and well appointed. Our room had no shower mat, which is an issue for us oldsters. The breakfast is served by a very helpful and friendly employee, and has all of the expected options. You will not find much missing overall (except for the shower mat, of course). The bath vanity is "different." Limited counter space, and a small bowl. Of course that is a matter of taste. Some guests mentioned the street noise, but it was not an issue for us. They furnish ear plugs even, but were not needed. The only significant issue is that there is no flat place to walk anywhere on the property. The rooms (and there are plenty) are scattered on a steep hillside. You cannot even walk on flat ground to check in. The Branson Train is a very short distance away.
I was very pleased with he people that I met and interacted with at this hotel. I do think that the survey took a turn for the worst when one of the options for who did I stay with wasn't "wife". come on man!
The staff and rooms was nice and conveniently located. However, it was located on a steep hill and as such difficult to navigate for my 86 year old mother who literally tumbled outside her door down the parking lot ultimately requiring us to go to the emergency room. This is definitely not the place to stay if you need a cane, walker, wheelchair, etc.
Our room was in sad shape. Door did not latch properly. Sagging furniture. Stains on carpet. clogged sink. I believe when you stay here you are paying for the location. I would not recommend staying here until they upgrade and renovate the rooms.
The front staff was very good and helpful. The room was well below average and small especially for the price paid. The room was facing the main street that was extremely noisy throughout the night with loud cars and trucks accelerating up the big hill there.... There was also noisy folks right above our room. We got really no sleep at all that night. Getting luggage from car to room on the lower level was a pain given the slope of the parking lot hill and cave like access to the room itself down a few steps to front door. Breakfast was OK for free but long lines and long wait for waffle makers, etc... Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else for around the same price point with better quality and better opportunity to actually sleep.....
One of the best places that I have stayed at.location was walking distance to every thing in town.the personal we're very helpful in explaining where and how to park. Will give you a detailed map of how to go.
What an amazing hotel. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. I actually had messed up the reservation but the gentleman at the desk got us a room, was very polite and very helpful, as well as the other two ladies at the desk. The room was very clean, comfortable and updated. Not only do I recommend this place, if I come back to Branson I'm staying here again.
do not stay in the front row section close to the main road, or you wont be able to rest due to noise. Place is located nicely close to the main attractions, within walking distance of the Landing and all shops.
The room was smaller than expected. There was a lot of outside noise!! The staff was nice but will definitely find a different hotel to stay in next time. I think a earlier check in time would work out better for many.
Awesome people, great place, breakfast was great. Conveinent to all that Branson offers. Easy on off the highway. Making it easy to maneuver around the Branson area. Easy to find Paula Dean's restaurant.
My husband has always wanted to stay here, so we tried it this time. Here is our honest opinion. Rooms are WAY overpriced. We could have stayed at a 4/5 star hotel. What we got was a tiny motel room without the amenities of a pricey hotel. The 24/7 pool is not 24/7. We got ready and went down around 9 to start our day with swimming and it was closed for cleaning for 1.5 hrs. They had just closed it. When I asked about the pool, the lady at the front desk chimed in when I asked another lady about it and was so rude. Our kids were so disappointed. The beds seem tiny and are not comfortable. The bedding is thin and not the usual hotel soft. It was so cold in the room and the bedding did not help. The rooms are pretty clean, so that is good.
Our stay at the Best Wedtern on Branson Landing was very enjoyable due to the accommodations and personnel. The location is great. Having a buffet breakfast is good. Getting in early was a real bonus. We were very happy and think you will be too.
Great location, friendly staff and and an overall great place to stay. When traveling to Branson and you want a location that's close to downtown this is it. The bed was very comfortable and we were pleased with the price. Great service, rooms were updated, vanity a little small, but worked for us.
Great location with easy walking distance to the Landing. There is a semi-steep hill incline, so it will require an ok level of physical stamina. Otherwise, it's no problem and its really so convenient to be able to walk and avoid the traffic and parking at the Landing. For those who prefer, the free trolley stops right outside of the hotel. The room itself was very clean and they even offered housekeeping services which are extremely rare in July 2021 in hotels of any caliber due to staff shortages. Easy check in, park near room, free hot breakfast. In-room fridge and a CVS you can drive or walk to to stock up in snacks and beverages (or plan ahead and bring your own). The only comparable hotel that we saw was the Hilton which was soooo much more expensive. We almost opted for that but were so happy we didn't and instead used the hundreds we saved on show tickets and other activities. This hotel is just fine, especially in Branson where you won't be spending a lot of time in your room.
Very clean rooms, nice soaps and amenities in room. Rooms are small and doors are facing outside. Ear plugs provided for noise but we didn't need them. Breakfast is the same food choices every day and staff must spoon out hot food for you and into styrofoam containers. However, you can gather rest of your food on your own. Housecleaning will provide a card to fill out. We requested to have clean towels, coffee and shampoo replenished but didn't need to clean our room while there. They removed our towels and replenished half quantity towels. No coffee or shampoo supplied. When looking at our bill each day they up charged us for additional days. Seems like they could have provided a fresh supply of coffee and shampoo for that cost and normal set of towels…
Great hotel! Everything was wonderful ! Staff was very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be staying here again!! We especially liked being able to be within walking distance to the landing. Although it was walking up and down hills,.it was great exercise!!
Dirty room, jacuzzi wouldn't drain, key wouldn't function, and they couldn't give me a new key, light for step into bedroom fell off several times, smelled like cigarettes. Really negative experience.
Easy to enter city from interstate. Easy parking to check in. Plenty free parking. The hill going down to landing is very steep. Stores are super. Handicapped access is not good at some place. nice location in the landing area, right on river. Crabby Joes was great, and the two bartenders were very customer service, with lots of city info
Nice room, excellent location. The THREE foot deep pool was a BIG disappointment. How can you swim in a three foot deep pool? No deeper than a wading pool really. I was looking forward to swimming. But location was one block from some of the downtown shops and cafes so that was great. Bed was comfy, room clean.
Overall this is a good hotel. It's tired. Needs a facelift. It's clean and in a very good location. Parking is free. It has wifi (I did not use it). Channels on the TV are good. There is no safe. It has a small frig, microwave, and couch.
We have stayed here many times and not been disappointed. The location is perfect for walking to the Landing and easy drive to the Strip. There is a trolly stop right at the front desk of the hotel. The rooms are clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Wifi was great. We really enjoyed the 24 hr pool with teens who don't mind swimming late after playing in Branson all day. Earplugs were provided but not needed.
The stay was great! Even though breakfast was modified a little it was still a full hot breakfast unlike alot of places that do a bag breakfast. The pool is open 24 hours which was nice since we were in town for an event and got back to our rooms late.
Last minute weekend getaway to Branson. Booked a king suite as we arrived in town. Checkin was smooth with a friendly front desk staff. The king suites are separated from the main building. The room was nice snd comfortable. The hotel was quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.
Rooms way too small and dark. Would not stay there again. Very disappointing. Could not turn around in bathroom. About one foot between beds and furniture. Not up to other best westerns we stay at. Needs major overhaul.
When I checked in around 1830 the WiFi did not work. I talked to a front desk person and they told me to try another WiFi network. That did not work either. They said they would work on it. I called again a little before midnight. The employee said her Internet connection wasn't working either and there was nothing she could do. The next morning at 600 the WiFi still did I not work. I could not get my work done and lost out on money due to submission deadlines. The employee who checked me out in the morning said the manager wasn't there and there was nothing she could do. She took my name and number and said the manager would call me. I am still waiting for a call and will update when I hear from them. The room was tiny and a little dirty. For instance, there was a bare lollipop stick stuck to the carpet and lots of dust behind the easily movable furniture. If you don't need WIFI and don't mind being cramped in a dingy room for a while, Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites In Branson is your kind of place. Also the phone did not work which made reaching the front desk more difficult as my cell had almost no signal inside the cramped hotel room.
This is an old hotel. Our room was not updated. It clearly used to be a smoking room, smelled like stale smoke, which would be a deal breakerif I had seen reviews stating that. Bathroom needed paint, bed was noisy, springy, no support. We were on the front which was super noisy. We didn't ask for a different room because the whole hotel looks like it's old inside and out. I'm not sure how it gets such high reviews. It was the worst room and hotel that I've had in years and I travel fairly frequently. I would not stay here again and would not recommend. I paid twice as much as it was worth.
Great place to stay, close to the conference. Great value, clean rooms. Hotel is close to shopping and food places. The breakfast was very good. Hotel is the bus stop also, great if you want to ride around and see the area.
After a disaster with a booking website (and not calling) we ended up coming here. The woman on the phone was very understanding (and said it had happened before) and welcomed us to stay with them. They even honored our booking room rate we had made with the first hotel. We got into our room, the bed was *very* comfortable, which we loved. The fridge made a bit of noise but it wasn't much. Earplus were courteously provided but we didn't need them. We only spent one night but I think we have found our 'go to' hotel when we come to Branson. I was very much impressed and happy!
For being a budget type stay- let me state: rooms are clean, breakfast was hot (not bagged) and having an open pool for 24 hours - couldn't be better ! So many people go enjoy their outings during the day and when you return with children in tow and their itching to jump in the pool - (it's generally closed) but here it is 24 hours open- this is a wonderful idea. This allows parents to still accommodate their children and wear them out and exhaust their energy and then they can sleep well. I love that I hardly had to deal with echoes in hallways (corridors) and had open exterior so sound wasn't contained to a hallway. Door slamming wasn't an issue. This was wonderful! Some bigger chains we have stayed at, do have constant slamming doors and the noise has no where to go but to stay within the hallways. Their staff was super friendly and nice, they offer free laundry service use. Cookies in the evenings, vending machines everywhere and at a reasonable cost for items. Drink machines and operating ice machines. Their inside room fridges are larger than normal tiny mini fridges. Plus, they are already cold upon arrival. They even place swan folded towels and nicely manicured touches to towels and Kleenex and toilet paper. You can tell they take the extra steps to make “budget friendly” appear as if your paying higher at fancier “grand” hotels.. I like that! Your getting more than what you pay for and yet not getting cut short of any other services. Parking lots are fully lit up, surrounding areas are clean and exterior grounds are well kept.
The hotel has a great location close to the Landing. The employees were very helpful and polite. The room was very clean. We had a very relaxing getaway and were sad our three days were over. We will be staying here again in the future.
The staff here is super friendly. The rooms are clean and cozy. The location of the hotel is perfect. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Branson. The property is very clean.
We had an one night for a quick trip. The room was dirty to the point you could feel it on your feet. Out children's feet were black on the bottoms from it and we ending up wearing shoes the entire time. There was dust and coffee grounds by the dresser and fridge. There was gunked up old urine on the bathroom floor. It had clearly not been swept, vacuumed, or mopped in a long time. The drain in the shower was slow to drain and we ended up just quickly wiping off the kiddos. Luckily we brought cleaning supplies.
Rooms are noisy because of being right on mail street with traffic. Room is pretty small. Bed uncomfortable and too soft. Felt like mattress needed to be replaced. Too soft. Tv reception was poor. Will not be staying here again.
We booked this hotel for 2 nights via Priceline. However, after weeks of traveling the road... I messed up the dates and booked it for 7-9(meant to do it for 8-10th). Upon check in on the 8th, this mistake was discovered and the lady at the front desk encouraged me to call Priceline. After talking to Priceline, things seemed to work out... and I was assured by both parties that my reservation would be fixed for the 8-10th.The next morning we got a call from the front desk telling us to checkout. We were extremely confused since we were under the impression that this was fixed. Upon “check out”, they offered us another room for the night but we had to pay. Basically I paid for 2 nights and only slept there 1. Another huge problem... was a hidden stair leading to the bedroom from the bathroom. My husband tripped over it multiple times and once during the middle of the night, I tripped over it and fell pretty hard. I am 6 months pregnant. It was painful and so far I just have a scraped knee but this could have been tragic. The light they normally have under the stair was out in our particular room. I cringe to think of what could have happened to our baby girl. This was the last day of our baby moon and not at all how we wanted to spend it.
This is the first time staying at this hotel. I really enjoyed the stay. I was reminded when I entered the room of the toiletries the hotel provides and how much I loved them from a previous stay at Best Western. The room was clean and updated. The room faced the street which had road noise. However, the hotel provided ear plugs as they were aware of the issue. The road noise lessened later in the evening and really didn't affect sleep. There are outside entrances to your room. It was easy to get from the car to the room. Very nice place and I will be returning soon!
We have stayed here several times while both on business and family visits to Branson and brought family this time. We love the atmosphere of The Best Western Plus and being in walking distance to The Landing while enjoying the unique shops of downtown. Thank you so much for another great visit. Merry Christmas, God Bless and Happy New Year.
Perfect location to walk historic downtown and to The Landing! The queen room we had faced the main highway so very noisy, which they forewarned us and gave us earplugs! Ha! We didn't use them. The room was newly remodeled. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, lots of pillows. Had hot breakfast buffet. We didn't use the indoor pool or go to the rooftop seating. Definitely recommend if you want to leave your car parked and just walk.
I was pleased that my mobility issues were taken care of easily...smooth to roll right in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The price for a downtown pretty motel in Branson was very reasonable. It allows a walk around the remodeled downtown and Bass Pro thrown in.
The noisiest hotel ever. Beds were so hard and uncomfortable No movie or sports channels Basic TV channels The staff were very friendly, rooms are very clean. For the price, not worth it. It was the loudest hotel I've ever stayed at. Road noise outside, kids running outside, people yelling, raising hell. No movie channels, HBO, Showtime, etc.
The rooms and facilities were clean and fresh considering the age of the building. The staff was amazing and took excellent COVID-19 precautions. Super pleased with everything and would definitely stay there again.
Everything good except for missing breakfast and very bad sack food that was lacking. Rooms are clean and well used. Scooter wouldn't fit down outside walkway. Unavailable handicap room so was challenged. Great housekeeper
The rooms were nice and clean and the employees were all friendly! We did not use the inside pool but it looked extremely nice. With COVID their breakfast was minimum but they gave you choices. All in all we would stay there again
The hotel was close to everything. Made it very easy to go to many activities in one day. I think that's what you pay for. The pool needed to be heated for the price. That is why I booked there with a indoor pool for my daughter. Besides that I have no complaints about the staff or cleaniness. We loved our room and location.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The service there was friendly and exceptional. Also, very close walk to the landing which had its perks. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyway who visits Branson!
The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The property is in a great location whether you're going to the Landing, the strip, or Silver Dollar City. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We asked for a first floor, and had only reserved the room online 2 hours earlier. The clerk was wonderful and booked us in an area where we didn't need to climb stairs or use an elevator! The room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable!
Our room was very noisy! Hard to sleep with all of the stuff going on above us. Rooms are not very sound proof! The front desk never even bothered to pick up the phone when I tried to call about this problem. The room was nice other than the noise. Not worth the money I paid for this suite!
The breakfast lady is pleasant and helpful, wearing disposable gloves and a mask, a joy in the mornings. The people who clean are over the top! The check in, checkout desk people are helpful. It is a great place to stay.
This hotel is excellent. The room was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to downtown and not far from the entertainment area. We were also close to the scenic railway
Super clean and family friendly hotel. Nice people, rooms and awesome service. Also it's pet friendly which makes it 100 percent better. Not to mention the pool is 24 hours. I definitely give this hotel a 5 star rating we will be back for sure.
Good hotel for the price and location. Friendly staff from front desk to housekeeping. Conveniently located near restaurants and convention center but far enought that there isn't tooo much traffic. Only down side is that we weren't able to use the indoor pool because it is located near the front desk and would have had to walk through the outside to get to it. It was cold and raining so that didn't work out.
The people who work at the Best Western near the Branson, MO Landing, were very helpful. The breakfast lady was pleasant, her kind voice made us feel comfortable. I hope to return. The Branson Landing area has good food, shops, and a Train ride!
Close to downtown, easy access to everything and a 24/hr pool. Great place to stay. Friendly staff and great views. I stayed in the penthouse suite with a private balcony. Definitely worth the money I spent.
Location was convenient to freeway and easy to find. Room was clean however the telephone did not work. We requested a room away from Main Street, so the noise was not a problem. Parking was convenient to the room. Front desk personnel were helpful when we asked about food/eating options in the area.
The staff at this hotel was so Great! The room was very clean and nice, Cathrine did a wonderful job of servicing our room; she left extra towels as requested. It is in a great location you can walk into town or caught the Free Trolley which passes by approximately every 45 minutes. We plan to stay there again when we return!! Thank You!! ❤️❤️
We had a great stay at Landing view, close to all shops, staff was very friendly, and helpful, rooms were clean and very fresh! There is a lot of traffic on weekend nights so it was a bit noisy on Saturday night, but overall it was a great place to stay!!
Very easy check in/out. Room was very quiet and clean. Walking distance to shopping. Had a variety of options for breakfast. We brought our small dog. She was accepted invitingly. Staff was eager to help with all questions we had about events going on. I would definitely stay here again.
they claimed it was a Best Western Plus but the only thing plus about it was the sign. Everything about this hotel is old and rundown I was very disappointed, I have stayed in several Best Western plus hotels and this one was NOT!!
Hote! was like most hotels....but what makes this hotel amazing is the staff! From the time we arrived til the time we checked out, the staff was wonderful; need extra towel?s you got them, a recommendation for eats...they ask you what you want. Even saw the assistant manager cleaning rooms....so very nice! Staff knows what southern hospitality is!! Clean room, clean pool, heart of the city and great breakfast. Reasonable Prices....high!y recommend
Great hotel within walking distance to the Landing in Branson. THe rooms are little on the small side, but the beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Can be a little noisy on the highway side of the building, but they do provide earplugs.
Room was clean, Hotel was within walking distance from historic downtown and branson landing. (hills) Lots of shops, free parking with hotel stay(bonus) Staff was super friendly and definitely know the town and the activities. Would definitely stay again.
We travel to Branson many times during the year and have stayed at many different places. We have been so happy with this facility. Staff is super friendly, clean rooms, nice pool, hot breakfast and a great location.
Great place to stay, very comfortable, has gym and a indoor swimming pool with more hours to swim than most hotels, and they treat you as if they would like to have you to return, also pet friendly and close to stores and eating establishments.
I loved the location of this Hotel . Price was OK and the staff was realy nice and did a great job . rooms very clean , outside of hotel a bit dated but still very functinal .with everything going on due to the Cina virus they realy did a great job making us feel safe there.
Chose this hotel due to 24 hour HEATED pool extremely disappointed pool was so cold to swim. Given 2 different explanations as to why. Told front desk the smoke free room smelled heavily of smoke and was given a bottle of spray that did not help. When checking out apologies were given for issues and extra points.
The room was somewhat dated but was sufficient for our needs. Very good water pressure in the shower. The only concern was the parking lot was on a hill and my suitcase was on wheels and got away from us.
Wonderful hotel. The rooms are really nice, spacious and cute. We had a late addition to our travel and we added another room before check in and they gave us adjoining rooms. There was a snack bag in our room with a Thank you note. The front desk staff at check in was so friendly. Check out was easy. Breakfast was well stocked and good selection. Only complaint I could make was the pool wasn't heated.
The staff and this adorable hotel went above and beyond to make our girls feel welcome during their stay for their cheer competition. We entered our room and my daughter immediately saw the little bag of goodies and good luck letter that the staff put together for each girl in their rooms. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the wonderful people who work here. It must have been a good luck charm because our girls won first place and got the bid to the D2 Summit at Disney World!!
wonderful best western. great staff and VERY well managed. Great Breakfast and location. Had a few very minor problems occur that were rectified beyond satisfaction. Thank you for making my Superbowl weekend memorable.
The hotel staff were very courteous. The facilities were well maintained. The rooms were clean. The amenities were good. The hotel was located close to restaurants and shops. The hot breakfast was a good addition for travelers.
Loved that the pool was open 24 hours. Unfortunately the entire pool is only 3 feet deep. I wish they had a hot tub. My son loved the pool, and had a great time. A clock in the pool area would be a nice addition.
1 bdrm suite with Jacuzzi / ADA toilet. Pull out bed wasn't all that comfortable. Had some issues with the tv remote the first night and had to call for sheets and blankets for the pullout couch. The pull out wasn't all that comfortable for our 19 year old. Note, the hotel is ADA accessible, but is still hard to get around since the hotel is on a slight steep incline. Breakfast is just ok, don't expect a lot and you will be okay. Overall, For the 2 days, we didn't break the bank and the staff are real nice and mean to please! We would come back and being close to all the shops is a bonus and they have a golf cart to take you where you need to go.
Can improve on their breakfast. Had variety but not very well stocked. Nobody there, for at least the 30 minutes I was there, to replenish the breakfast items and clean tables, and cleanup after messy patronage. Of course, the very noisy location to the so busy road is something they can't change, but I wouldn't stay again because of that!
We have stayed here multiple times now over the past year or two and have had an enjoyable stay each time! The rooms are well kept, clean, and the beds and nice and comfy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Downtown Branson is just a stones throw away. If you are going to go on a trip on the Branson Scenic Railway I suggest staying here as it is just a couple of blocks away.
We stayed at Best Western due to the proximity to Branson Landing. The food was bland. We were locked out of our room for over 2 hours because our key card did not work and the staff was slow to respond.
The stay was great! It has great breakfast. The pool was nice and warm! The hotel is in walking distance to the Downtown shopping area! There is also a trolley if you prefer that. Very nice and comfortable stay!
We stayed here with family while attending a show and seeing the christmas lights after Thanksgiving. Overall the room was ok sink outside of bathroom not my favorite. The hotel had all the service including standard hotel breakfast. Everyone seemed fine with our stay.
Parking is on a serious incline, ear plugs are issued in the welcome pack ... there is a serious noise issue, bathroom sink looks great, but is so tall and small it takes a little preplanning to use. Pool is location is inconvenient for most of the complex.
My wife and I have stayed here several times and have had a quality experience every time and that is why we return. The location of hotel close to Branson Landing and old town Branson for shopping and other activities. It is on 76 strip and can easily go to 76 strip shows and shopping, too.
I gave it a 4 out of five because to me it takes a lot to get a 5. But the place was awesome. We stayed in the Penthouse suite and got an awesome military/last minute rate! So that was sweet. The room was Huge!!! We had our own balcony that was very large( enough for a table and 8 chairs). Bed was clean and comfortable. The shampoo smelled great, had keurig in room. We had a large living room too. Lots of seating. Only downside for me was that is that the doors were outside and did not have interior hallways. But it was still really nice. Kind of felt like a condo.
The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk down Main St & to Branson Landing. It's technically an upscale motel (outward facing doors). My room faced the road which made it loud. Service was friendly, room was clean, bathroom is small, price was good
We were down for a convention and chose best Western Plus Landing due to location. Short walk to convention center, free parking, and a free breakfast. The in room refrigerator, microwave, and extra toiletries provided added to our trip. Clean room and comfortable beds.
Excellent location for the price. The hotel was downhill from the Branson Landing and the downtown shops and restaurants. Nice hot breakfast, clean comfortable and quiet room. There was an indoor pool and fitness center but no sauna. Overall, a very good hotel for the price.
I came to town to stay the weekend for a wedding, and wanted somewhere close to the Landing, and this hotel was perfect! Within walking distance to the landing, close to the outlet stores, and was very clean. Road noise is noticeable but tolerable, and the bed was comfy! I stayed in a standard room, and it was great. Would definitely stay again!
I would give this Best Western in Branson close to down town Branson one of the best. It was super clean and the staff was so kind and helpful l. They get a 100+ in my books. And I will be going back there when I am in Branson.
Wonderful hotel and the location was great! The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed for 4 nights and the breakfast bar had a different variety of food every day. The hotel staff was friendly, and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and we will be back again!
Friendly staff, nice hotel and breakfast and close to the Landing and my favorite shop the Victorian House and close to other food places, You are on a steep hill but the view to the Landing is pretty in the evening. Farmhouse Rest. was good and Dick's 5 & 10 is a store to bring back your childhood memories. The Whiteriver fish resturant is on the lake and even better food-the alligator bites-Awesome and with the sauce and sweet potato tots-Yum. They offer free trolly ride around the Downtown Branson area up to 6pm, that's nice. Nice pool and open 24/7. Ask for a room on the 300# side near pool and breakfast room-it's a level walk-not a hill. We had a nice stay and will be back here again. Be sure to get coupons from the wall of brochures, they help. SilverD.City was, as always, beautiful and with all the fall and pumpkin decorations was spectecular! We went for Pumpkin Nights spent the day and the evening was awesome and so much fun for the family and the pumpkin funnel cake delicious, get there early for parking-they do have buses but you will wait about 20 min. to get one and get you to the park, really wasn't to bad, thou. Traffic wasn't to bad either but maybe because the time of the year. Presley's Jubilee is a must show to see.Rode on the Ferris wheel at night was really cold but so pretty from the top. Had a blessed time with my family.
Stayed here for 7 nites in oct. of 2019. Staff very good , breakfast well presented and good, rooms clean and comfortable, pool was very clean and well maintained. Manager would stop in at breakfast to meet his guest and enquire if there were any needs from the guests. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good clean place to stay. Some street noise on the one side but overall my experience was great.
Amazing hotel. What a Jem in Branson this was our 4th time in Branson and I wish we would have found your location before This trip was just a over night stop over. But all the extra touches in the the room way cool. The room was nice and clean all the extra touches in the room for us amazing. Next time in town will for sure stay here. Sfaff was wonderful, friendly. Hotel Cute kept up nice. Well done great job.
Loved this place...we have a dog and needed a pet friendly hotel. Our dog was given a bone at check-in! Our room was convenient to the outside to take her out. There was no carpet which was great. Would highly recommend. Very clean. Don't look anywhere else!
It's definitely better than the last time I stayed there several years ago but just the fact that to access the rooms you have to be outside, is a negative for me. No woman likes wondering around outside a building at night. Also the rooms are nice and probably the only thing I would add would be heavy comforters. The lightweight bedspread is not very warm and with people having so many different temp preferences it can be very cool for one person and hot for another if you adjust the temp low.
We had a small group of 12 and stayed 2 nights at the Best Western in October 2019. The manager, Jeff Keen, and all of the staff could not have been anymore attentive to us. The breakfast was wonderful complete with the local newspaper as well as USA Today (some of the members of my group really loved this). The location is fantastic for downtown and Branson Landing. We walked easily and spent some time in town. If you don't want to walk, the free Branson shuttle has a stop at this hotel! Some of our group walked down the hill and then took the trolley back to avoid walking the hill. Plenty of parking and close to everything. Definitely would recommend and will stay again!
This Best Western is in a great location to Branson's Landing and the downtown strip, The staff was super friendly especially Jeff and Kellie the front desk manager. The parking lot was well lit and everything was clean. There seemed to be a lot of noise outside both traffic and loud buzzing and humming sounds but the staff did provide earplugs on the nightstand so I assume they are aware of the issue.
Hotel was right in old down town. All the old shops are within walking distance. Shows and highlights were easy to access. Restaurants are within walking distance. Getting around town and other attractions from this location was pretty simple.
We stayed Oct 2019. Everything was great, room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Outdoors was quiet. One good thing is that the pool is open 24 hours which is great for families. I didn't like the fact that I was made to wait until 3:00 p,m. to check in. We had driven all day and got in there about 1:30 and had to wait. This seemed to be the case for alot of people so don't plan on arriving early unless you have something you can go do while you wait. I really enjoyed the stay and would definately consider this hotel for future vacations in Branson.
wonderful breakfast and excellent help, comfortable beds! Got a good nights sleep. close to the landing where we wanted to go! we could come and go as we wished and it was close to excellent shopping.
We loved our stay! Friendly staff members, good breakfast, clean hotel and rooms, and pet-friendly rooms. My husband is a disabled Vietnam veteran and the manager showed him, in person, how to navigate the hotel without using the stairs. Very caring.
This motel is centrally located, but closer to the original Branson downtown. It is ready for some updates, but for the money, it's a nice quiet place to stay. The breakfast was good and regularly replenished as needed.
If you are travelling on a motorcycle , which we were the hotel is on a hill and the parking was not good for that. Made it difficult for loading. Rooms were clean and it was on the trolley schedule . Location was great. I just wish the breakfast hours were later during the week. It is a bit early to end when one is on vacation.
We were in Branson to see Samson at Sights and Sounds. We enjoyed our room. It is an uphill walk from our room to the front office, pool, and breakfast area. Though we did not take advantage of the beautiful indoor pool we were told that it is open 24 hours a day. The out side areas of this inn is well lit at night and we felt safe. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again and will recommend BWP Landing View Inn & Suites to friends and family.
The hotel was built in the seventies but is well kept. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. The staff made our stay pleasant and was always there to help. The hotel is on a huge incline and that is my only complaint. They did however help my handicapped father get to and from breakfast.
Recent weekends stay. Stayed in a king suite. My first disappointment was to see that all the doors faced outside. There were no elevators. I think hotels need to indicate that in their advertising. The hitel has several building but not all the lights were out in the stairwell and on the entire floor area encompassing 6 rooms - felt rather scary at night. I will say I ran into a maintenance man on Saturday morning and told him of the lighting issue and they were corrected by Saturday night The rooms have attempted to be upgraded but still feel very cheap - you could see daylight coming through the door when it was closed, the bed sheets had stains, the shower curtain had visible stain, the furniture was cheep to the point i didn't even want to even lay my clothes on it. The breakfast area is small but the variety offered was adequate. Was hoping this would be an upgrade to the Baymont - needless to say i wont be returning to either place. My recommendation- pay the extra 30 dollars per night and stay at the La Quinta in Hollister!
My wife and I were very pleased with the cleanliness, breakfast and management experience here, everyone was very polite and friendly. The breakfast had the most selection of any we have experienced. We definitely plan to stay here next time we visit Branson.
room had not been cleaned, poop in toilet, bed had been slept in - phone not working; they moved us to another room which had spider webs covering outside lights (with spiders in them), spiders & bugs on door and in room (should have carried my spray with me); we have always stayed there for years & had great experience, but will not stay there again - staff was great - do not recommend it unless you can live with the bugs & spiders
Stayed 2 nights in the king suite. Clean, comfortable but a bit pricey considering time of year...$150 a night. For that $, would have liked to see a more updated decor and better breakfast. Overall ok
Five girlfriends were meeting up for one night so booked two suites at this location. The rooms were clean and well stocked. There was an elevator easily accessed for two of the group that would have had an issue with the stairs. we didn't use the pool or fitness room, but they looked nice. This location is so convenient to downtown Branson and The Landing that it was easy for us to get where we wanted to go. There is a trolley stop at the hotel so if you want to access that, it is great also. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of seating and food choices.
The motel is has been remodeled and in a good location, within walking distance of Old Branson. The pool is inside next to the breakfast area and is a consistent 3'. The breakfast is good and the rooms clean. Our room had some kind of laminated hardwood floor. We were in a room in the B section and had to walk up a steep incline to get to the breakfast area. Next time we plan on getting a room closet to the office 2nd or 3rd floor. The staff took care of all our needs and we're very professional.
On a whim I booked a visit here for my mother's birthday. Upon check in was pleasant. We had a pet room, they went above and beyond! A bottle of white grape juice & flowers. Thank you so much. She enjoyed it so much!
We could walk to the historic downtown, and access the Landing area along with the train. There is a trolley pick up right at the hotel. Room decor was upscale compared to the average Best Western. Refrigerator and microwave came in handy. Complimentary earplugs were appreciated.
Check in was easy, the staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. We stayed in room B208 and enjoyed the close parking. It was nice after a long day of walking to pull right up to our room. This motel is close to the landing and has dinning and shopping nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the fall. Overall great experience!
The hotel was easy to find and just 4 blocks from Branson Landing. My friends and I were in town for a race that began at the Landing and this hotel was the perfect location for us. At check in we had trouble with our key working and were quickly placed in a different room (we were upgraded from two full size beds to a king bed and pull out.). The staff was courteous and the breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay there again.
Did not seem as nice as pictures made it seem. We got to our room and the bed had hairs and spots on made up bed. I called and asked for new sheets. I was grossed out. Started to leave and the door was broke. We could not go out so packed back up and they were sold out so we ended up leaving the hotel. Not happy. Oh lucky me they didn't charge us for canceling. Um ok. Since it was the room and hotels issues. So be weary of your stays.
We were in Branson for a quick overnight stop. This hotel is easy to get in and out of. The rate was very reasonable. The room was very clean. The staff made check in quick and easy. We were given a welcome gift at check in. The next morning, breakfast bar was well stocked. There was a variety of hot and cold offerings. The attendant offered us water for later in the day to take with us. We will stay there again, nice value.
After having a room issue caused by front-counter staff at check-In. We were promised the total removal of pet fees but after seeing the billing & charge to my card the counter staff LIED. Also, sink in the king suite appears to be partially clogged as it drains extremely slow and leaks from the beautiful antique cabinet. Last, as we were leaving we were asked by another guest why her room door wouldn't lock for her. We called maintenance for her & again was astonished, but this time by their reply. "That happens all the time around here.. Just keep jiggling the handle and it will eventually lock. WOW WHAT GREAT SECURITY !!!
Enjoyed this motel. The room was very efficient, functional, and nicely decorated. The most comfortable beds and pillows from heaven. Large variety of breakfast items, and everything we ate was tasty. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely look to stay here again.
Front desk was exceptional in helping to get our reservation at last minute. Brandy was her name. We have a dog that was on crate rest and needed a room and an early check in that would allow us to go out that day and experience some Branson attractions with our 2 year old daughter. Thank you so much you are wonderful. The place was a great value, very clean and we will return from Springfield again in the future for a stay.
This property is close to Branson Landing and other attractions in the area and is easy for access from Main Street. We use it for overnight stay coming to town for one day to shop or go to a show. Staff are very friendly.
This hotel is in the perfect location. It is near the Landing and Downtown, while also being close to a way to get to SDC, etc by bypassing the traffic in the center of town. You can also take advantage of using the free trolley that picks up at the hotel.
This had everything we needed, starting with acceptance of our pet for only $10 more! The room was clean. Loved the vinyl floors (no yucky old carpet)! Walked 1 block to downtown shopping and fun. Just a few more blocks to Branson Landing, but we drove for fear of rain. Speaking of rain, the indoor pool was great. Was nice to know we'd have swim time even if it was raining outside. Added benefit: pool is open 24/7. The breakfast was decent; would have been great to have a lactose-free milk option like almond milk or something. Breakfast area was clean and well-stocked with the usual pastries and hot foods, too. Front desk was helpful at check in, check out and when we needed some help after swimming. We will be back!
Just returned home after spending three days at this motel. The motel is very nice. The staff is friendly, the room was updated and clean, the breakfasts were great. This motel is located within easy walking to Downtown Branson, Branson Railway, Branson Landing Mall, Bass Pro Shop, watersports, and many great places to eat. Upon entering our room, we were surprised to find two pair of earplugs on the nightstand with a note explaining the traffic can be noisy at times. I knew this from other reviews but our room was on the backside of the building. Traffic noise was not that loud. But we spent three MISERABLE nights due to noise from other guests. There was a busload of young boys and their parents that was in town for a Cal Ripkin baseball series. The boys kept going back and forth between the pool and their rooms, running and hollering right outside our door. We do not blame boys being boys - we were tolerant of this each night. But each night until 11:30 or so, grown men were outside in front of their rooms and in the parking lot, talking loudly, and hollering at the boys and each other. I opened my door one night they got quiet for a few minutes then started back. No respect for other guests. The motel was packed so we didn't ask for another room but they were all over the motel so another room wouldn't have helped. We had already paid for the 3 nights so we just didn't go to bed until midnight each night. Can't really blame the motel but I will never stay in another motel with doors on the outside. Now you know why you might need the earplugs (although they didn't drown out the noise). If the pool closed earlier it might help but I know that won't happen.
This is a good hotel that's in a great location. Not a brand new place but in good shape. I stayed in a king suite in the B building out back. It is conveniently located 2 blocks from Branson Landing.
After staying in a bad motel for one night we were looking at the last minute for a motel for the rest of our stay. From the moment we entered the lobby the front desk helped us secure a room and was extremely helpful with our plight. All service staff was friendly and competent.
After reading some of the reviews, I was prepared for it to not be great. When we checked in, there was a lady checking out early and stating "it was not what they expected at all". I was a little worried, but room was okay, room looked good and smelled fine, was spacious. I do not like how far you have to walk to get to pool or breakfast if you are in different building, but I do like that we were not right next to the pool as people do not control their kids. Someone needs to do some pest maintenance and get rid of the spider webs. The shower head leaves a little to be desired as the spray is very wide, but at least it works. Parking to get near an elevator is difficult.
Got bed bugs !!! Management not willing to compensate for contaminated luggage. When notified front desk their reaction was not of surprise!!! I will tell everyone I can about this establishment and how they handled this. Danger!
excellent service with plenty of things to do inside the hotel as well as outside. The pool looked wonderful, but I forgot my trunks lol...who needs to see my big old fat body in the pool anyway? It was really nice and the earplugs were a plus.
The hotel is located within walking distance of the downtown area. The “Strip” where all of the shows are you have to drive to. Hotel is nice. It's on many levels, so if you have trouble walking hills this is not the hotel for you. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was usual Bestwestern breakfast.
Our room was excellant. Very clean and spacious. The front desk was very helpful in suggestions of things to do and see. Hotel is located within walking of the"landing" however the uphill walk is tough on hot days, but everything was still very good. You can always take the trolley.
Ease of reservations. Staff took note of preference on room location. Bed had lots of pillows. Rooms were pristine clean. Very tastefully updated and upgraded room decore. TV remote had special attention to sanitation. Room included ref, microwave, iron and ironing board with extra pillows and blankets in closet.
Needed a last minute place to stay on the 4th of July and found this place within easy walking distance to restaurants and the river. Room was super clean and updated recently. Easy parking, delicious breakfast and an excellent value.
Rooms are out of date...dark and dreary. Noisy too when guests go up and down the stairs outside of your room. Won't spend another night here. Also being a mountain goat would be helpful as everything is on a steep hill going down to the Branson Landing.
This was a girls' trip to Branson to take in some shows and do some hiking. The location suited us really well- within walking distance of The Landing. The front desk service was exceptionally friendly. The hotel is older but has been updated. My main issue was with the lack of cleanliness- stains and dead bugs. The other issue was with a broken elevator and a vending machine that would not work.
Room was clean, everything as expected. Morning hot breakfast was refilled and hot. Good location to landing and Branson Main st...not much you can do about it, but if on roadside, side of motel very loud.
My family and I stayed here one night in Branson. The location is amazing as its close to the landing. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. However, the hotel is actually a motel where you enter your room from the outside. The motel is very old but has been updated. The breakfast in the morning is delicious with several options. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is simply average-nothing over and above.
When we say that we will conserve water by reusing towels and bedding that does NOT mean that we want to forgo emptying waste cans and restocking coffee, etc. Although the front desk staff was GREAT at correcting the problems, house keeping needs some training. The cute towel swan does not make up for lack of service. Having a pool open 24/7 is ridiculous because of the noise. At one in the morning when calling the desk, the gal did go down and quiet the kids. Since there is no lifeguard, a parent should be required to supervise.
We booked this hotel as a cost friendly hotel in Branson for our daughter's dance competition held at the Branson Landing Convention Center. Here are some things to know about this hotel: 1) it's not new so don't expect luxurious accommodations - but for the price and location I was pleased overall. 2) if you want to be near the Landing but not pay the higher Hilton prices, this BW was extremely convenient. 3) some rooms have carpet and some have hard surfaces- you may be able to request at time of booking if you have a preference. 4) this is an exterior entrance hotel - while Branson overall is pretty safe - be aware it's not an internal only entrance hotel. 5) they have ample parking although the lot is pretty tight and in places very sloped. 6) some buildings are across a parking lot so you may have to walk outside to access the breakfast area which is adjacent the 24 hour pool. 7) the complementary breakfast was on par with other hotels with a few warm items along with breads, pastries, cereals, waffles, etc. - the staff taking care of the breakfast was outstanding with great service and very courteous and friendly. 8) with the traffic and the exterior entrances, the outside noise activity from cars and people can be heard and the hotel actually leaves several new packages of earplugs by the bedside table. We didn't need them but it was an interesting amenity. 9) room size was pretty spacious with a mini fridge and microwave as well as small round table and 2 chairs. We had 2 double beds and we split opinions on the beds where I thought they were ok but wife and daughter didn't like them. 10) the soaps and shampoos they leave are pretty small so you may need to ask for extra if you have several in your party but the shower itself was FANTASTIC- very powerful shower head. Branson traffic can be a pain depending on where you are going and what road you travel, so pay attention when you book. However, if you are looking for a decent priced hotel near the landing, this hotel should be considered.
We were extremely satisfied with our stay! The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The hotel was conveniently located so we could walk in the nearby area rather than drive (the traffic in the area is ridiculous) and the room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay again in the future!
For $120 (plus) a night I expect the hotel to meets some basic requirements. 1) I expect the tv, lights and ac outlets to work. The first room we were put in the TV didn't work. The second room, the AC outlets by the bed were loose. 2) I expect it to be clean. While I travel with a dog, I do have allergies. I need a room that doesn't smell like a cross between an ashtray and an armpit, even when traveling with my dog. 3) I expect the room to be in good condition. This room has chipping curled paint, mold, patchwork painting where repairs were attempted and a weird smoker's house smell in the bathroom. 4) Lastly, I expect clean comfortable beds and pillows. We had the worst bed I've ever slept in, accessorized with pillows that can barely be called pillows. One pillow even had blood stains on it. If I would have had a choice, I would have simply left this hotel. Oh, and I took pictures.
Great breakfast hot food and a violinist came for awhile and played which was beautiful, it was clean, great views, near all attractions. The bed wasnt to comfortable but overall I enjoyed my stay here.
Was accommodated very well and received the best service possible. Our room smelled fresh and everything about it met our every expectation. The staff met our every need and seemed very please to do so.
24 hour pool access is awesome, but if you are hoping to take a quick late night dip hoping the kids have all been cleared out, don't bother. Complete chaos with no adult supervision. We went over to try taking a quick dip at 10:45 PM and we could hear the loud screaming before we even got up there. Opened the door, no adults, just kids running around out of control. Having a fut off time for kids under 18 would be reasonable I think.
Good clean, quiet hotel. Great at front desk. Pool open 24 hours was great. When you are on vacation it' hard to get to pool before 9 at night . We were glad it didn't close so we could stay a little later. Was peaceful late in the evening.
The staff was very friendly and courteous! I felt that the price was very reasonable for all the amenities. The breakfast was very delicious and had a lot of variety. The location was very near to the Branson Landing, which has several places to eat or shop! Our dog was able to stay at a nominal price. The laundry facility was free! The bed was nice and soft! I enjoyed my stay!
We had such a wonderful experience at this best Western. It is close to downtown Branson and the Branson landing, so the location is wonderful. The staff and the rooms are wonderful and amazing. Everyone is so helpful. The beds are so comfortable, slept like a baby. The breakfast buffet is amazing.Would definitely stay here again.
Hotel staff is very friendly and capable. Rooms are clean. Internet is good. Breakfast is excellent and varies from day to day. Location is convenient to both the "Branson Strip" and old down town. We've stayed there before and consider this a keeper.
We liked our 2 night stay at this hotel. There are many choices in the area and it was difficult to select. We were happy with our choice. The room was clean, comfortable. There are several buildings and we liked our location. Quiet and there were several trees by our building. I used the free laundry to get some clothes washed since we had been on the road awhile. Breakfast was good. We walked to the landing area for dinner and walked along the river. The only thing worth mentioning is the hotel is set on an incline. Be prepared to walk up and down an incline.
This was our second time staying with Best Western Plus Landing View and both times they treated us so kind. We stayed two nights and three days which makes this place just right for that time staying. The location was perfect. I love that they have variety for breakfast which includes fresh fruits, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, cereals, bagels, toast. Waffles which you can top with whip cream, chocolate chips, nuts, strawberry jam like and of course syrup either sugar free or regular. They also carry all the condiments including peanut butter. Swimming and workout areas are so clean. The whole staff were friendly. Rooms are comfortable.
Our Room was was right on the corner. Lots of foot traffic and stairs behind the goal was open 24 hours so we had lots of noise our door was facing the highway and because it was not a hotel but a motel you got quite a bit of traffic noise and light noise from the traffic going by
They "forgot" to clean my room 2 different nights while I was there. Also asked them 2 days in a row to change light bulb and batteries to TV remote. Neither were ever done. Breakfast was hot and fresh but not enough room to eat. Had to carry food to room and eat 2 days.
My husband is a wood carver and took some classes at Peter Englers shop in town. We decided after his course we would continue our trip to see Mt Rushmore. I am so happy we stayed at the Best Western Plus in Branson. Very good hotel, clean, in walking distance to town. And the free trolley stops right out front of the hotel if you've had enough of walking for one day. I always felt safe. Breakfast was hit and always good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Good location, its an ok hotel to stay, the room its fine, the bed its not that comfy though, but its close to the main area where the stores are, close to restaurants, coffee shops, a trolley stop, etc. The breakfast is very good but the front desk needs better people in there. I had a hard time to check in and tho,no,g that the person who was helping me was new , I asked for the manager and "she" was the manager!!! I can't believe it!, That almost ruined my time in there!
We only got to stay one night, but we really enjoyed this hotel. Check in was easy, the room is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had lots of choices and lots of room to sit. All of the staff seems friendly and happy to be at work - which indicates good management.
the lady at check in was so pleasant and helpful, room had towel animal and mints on bed, clean, big room, we walked to downtown, hot breakfast was wonderful, large nice pool, weight room, I will stay there when I go to Branson.
We are a retired couple and wanted to experience old time Branson, country music, crafts stores etc. We traveled in the Spring so the town was somewhat empty but this location was perfect because we could walk to the landing area and see the water fountain light show and eat dinner with the other 10 people down there on a cold TH night in April. If you want to be near the big production shows and theme parks this location won't be ideal (2-3 miles away), but it was for us. The hill is really not bad, less than 1/3 mile (we are from San Francisco though so used to hills.) Plus the pool is open 24 hours, and very well taken care of. Breakfast was adequate, staff was friendly, room was clean and well-appointed for a mid-range hotel. We stay at Best Westerns often and my consistent complaint is that as motels, there is very little natural light in the rooms and walls can be thin. This one had the foresight to leave earplugs on the bedside table. When the price, location and amenities are all great, we can live with these downsides.
Close to downtown, even walked to the stores. Also one day walked to steak and shake. Breakfast good and the help is always so pleasant. No far from 76 so going to the shows were easy. Had a shuttle to take you places, we did not use.
Great place to stay! Close to Branson Landing and downtown area, within walking distance and there is a trolley that comes right to the hotel. Friendly staff. The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet!
There was a lot of road noise, the room had some sort of slime on the tray that holds the cups and ice bucket. Slime like kids play with. Really gross. Breakfast was good, price was reasonable and it was close to the Landing and the theater we were going to.
Location is great at less than a mile to the landing restaurants and shops. Comfortable clean rooms. Free guest laundry (bring your own laundry soap) and the staff is terrific. I've stayed here 6-8 times over the years and it's been good every time. Indoor pool is open 24 hours. The do a good job with the free breakfast. Well priced. I would recommend this place to anyone anytime.
Very clean, loved that the pool was open 24 hours!! Very close to the branson landing making the shopping experience great! Also it was very close to hotels so we didnt have to drive very far. My kids slept on the pullout which was also very comfy for them.
Our stay was for one night but one of the best places we have stayed. Room, bed, bedding, bathroom were top grade.. Breakfast was terrific. Staff was friendly. Location was perfect, about 15 minute (interesting) walk to the river and fountains and restaurants galore!
Hotel was clean and staff was nice. Indoor pool was a little to cold for my kids to use. Location is great for getting to Branson Landing. Since my room door was facing main road. Road noise could get a little loud.
I have stayed here several years when attending a conference. I have never had any problems with the room, amenities, or the staff. The staff has always been very courteous and friendly. I will certainly continue to use this motel.
Jeff was very kind and offered an excellent stay and the room was awesome, The internet service was lightning fast and the Breakfast was very hot and tasty. Excellent, nights sleep with quiet rooms. Big Thumbs up
Staff was very friendly and accommodating, we loved the breakfast. The bed was comfortable, our room was really small but that's ok since we were only there to sleep. I do wish there had been enough space to set up our babies pack n play. They need to get the room cleaning staff in check. We found a pocket knife and a hat in the room when checking to make sure we had all our stuff before we left. The decor was nice and modern. It's located about 2 minutes away from Cox medical center which was great since we were there to see my grandmother in the hospital, and they gave us a discount when we let them know that.
we stayed here years ago and were not quite as happy. This stay was great and will stay again, room was very nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. we stayed in the king suite with jucuzzi very nice and spacious 2 tv's private bedroom mini fridg. we will stay again
I would not recommend staying here. I chose this hotel because the reviews I read were all good and the price was very tempting considering those reviews. The entire place is very old looking on the outside; poor lighting outside the rooms; our room was dirty - crumbs had been swept underneath things up against the wall and there was a coffee spill right beside the bed so it was clear to see the floors had not been mopped. The tub was clean, but the bathroom smelled of urine (I would say the tile and grout need a good bleach cleaning); bed sheets were old and had fabric balls all over them which feel very uncomfortable; breakfast was ok...waffle maker didn't work very well - time to invest in a new one, management. Positives: Good location, fairly close to the Landing and staff was very friendly.
Though we didn't realize Branson shuts down essentially from January - March, we truly enjoyed our stay. We treated ourselves to a suite. Well worth it. Clean Spacious Friendly staff Excellent breakfast, more than we were expecting. Not sure why other negative reviews. May not be brand spanking new but I am not living there, just enjoying some time away, and enjoy we did!
Best service will definitely be back very clean rooms staff was very friendly and helpful we was there to celebrate are wedding and had a great time will be using this motel more and more we enjoyed are stay
We enjoyed our stay at the best western, great location near the landing and nice rooms! This was our 2nd time staying here and we will continue to stay here when visiting Branson in the future. Absolutely no complaints!
Great location by the landing, great full breakfast, friendly staff that made great dining recommendations. Rooms were super clean and staff did an awesome job each day. I will definitely stay here again!!!
Location is perfect. Just off 65 and quick to head to Hollister or north to the Sheperd of Hills expressway. On the street in front of motel you can head west to see all the shows. 1 block away to the east is the old downtown and just pass that is the Landing.
We go to Branson every year for the Polar Express, we picked this hotel for the location. It is very close and convenient! We booked the room with the jacuzzi. The room was clean and plenty of room for our family of 4. The only complaint would be when you turn on the bathroom light, the fan that comes on was so loud it scared our 3 and 6 year old. Anytime they went in there they had to keep the light out because of the loud noise. We didnt like that to get to the pool you have to go outside. I probably wouldnt have booked this hotel if I had noticed that before. The pool was cooler than expected. When we asked if it could be warmer the gentleman checked the heaters and said they were already as high as they could go. I wish there was a hot tub here but it was ok, we just went to the room to enjoy the jacuzzi. The breakfast was really great with a good variety. Each day was something different. We really enjoyed this visit and definitely recommend as long as having to go outside to get to the pool isnt a big deal to you.
We first got a room on the B side of the building. When we discovered there was no hot tub spa they immediately upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi in our bedroom. Room was on a bottom floor..had to walk up two flights of stairs for ice and the parking area was covered in dead leaves. We were tracking the leaves in the room. Those are the only two things I didn't like. Breakfast was great.. very hot and changed up daily. They are remodeling so there is noise in the daytime. Glad they moved us or we would have had to listen to that. Definitely will stay here again when we come back. Starting to feel like family.
It is an older property and the rooms are a little small but for just the two of us it was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with a big variety. There was a different menu each day. Staff was very helpful and helped me connect to wifi when I had trouble.
The facilities and staff were really nice. We got an excellent price for the room. The pool was clean and not crowded. Breakfast was good with a decent variety of food, The location was awesome for us. It was near the Branson Landing. We had a fun time!
Great location. The usual hot and continental breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Safe location. Room was very clean. Indoor pool. Hotel is built on a hill but parking and access is very easy. My senior mom had no troble getting around. Rooms open outside. You will not go wrong staying here.
We rarely have any issues with Best Western, but we did have a broken bed. But it was taken care of. The wooden structure below was broken probably from some kid jumping. The dining area was very nice and the food was excellent.
This property is located just blocks from the original part of Branson, Main Street, and just a couple more blocks to reach the Landing shopping, restaurant, and entertainment venues along the water. You can walk to these location, it is all downhill from the hotel, but note, Branson is in the Ozarks, which means hills. So if you walk down, you walk up to get back to your starting point! The hotel staff is friendly, breakfast just fine, and the ladies work hard to keep up with the demand of customers. Branson is a popular tourist destination, so expect a lot of people and cars in the area and the hotel. This hotel is an older property with small rooms that have been remodeled. Our room was fine, not large, but clean, working properly, and comfortable beds. Effort has been made at this property to bring it up to date with remodeling in and out, maintenance, and painting. We thought this hotel was a good value - there are certainly newer, fancier, more expensive lodging properties, but for the price, convenience, and location in old downtown Branson, it was right for us.
Great location, easy to find. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The dancing fountains down by the river are a must-see, they go off every hour and at 7 p.m. they have a more extended show.
Easy access to the historic downtown area of Branson. Large comfortable room. Excellent breakfast serving hot and cold food. Friendly and helpful staff. Hillside location so there are some inclines to navigate. Definitely recommend this place.
room was a dungeon in the basement...a suite!. Air worked terrible, toilet seat broken, bed old and lumpy, dreary view of a wall 6' away. False advertising to use the word "landing" as close but no cigar. Way too high priced for ancient hotel that has been there for the 40 years we have been coming to Branson. 40 years...worst stay ever!!! Checked out first thing in morning after one night...suppose to stay 3 days. Went down the road to bright nice hotel for same price.
We have stayed at this hotel over 10 nites in the last several years and have recommended it to others. This month we stayed there 3 nites. The wife left a book and called. They took her credit card number to pay to ship the book. $2.99 bubblewrap(unneeded) $4.63 media mail, and the kicker, $3.00 hotel processing fee. We have spent over $1000.00 in the past few year. We will not be back!!!!!
We have stayed at a number of hotels, including a variety of Best Western facilities, this one is in a good location and, while dated, a great choice because of the locale, services, and some great employees. The hotel's high service standard is clearly set by the GM Jeff Keen. He personally greeted up upon arrival and, as we were too early for check-in, offered a cold drink, assistance with getting to work or ticket office, etc. No more than 15 minutes after we arrived he gave us a room which had just been cleaned. We saw him around the facility most days during our stay and he always greeted us warmly and ensured things were going well with our stay. The breakfast hostess Denise was friendly and helpful to guests and made sure the busy breakfast room ran smoothly. We made use of the two free washers and dryers and, when there was a small operating issue with one, met the head housekeeper Jessica who is southern itself and resolved the problem instead of referring it on. The desk lamp bulb burned out and was replaced in under 10 minutes after we called. It's quick access to the tourist venues and perfect for walking to the historic downtown and Branson's Landing. We'll be back soon and recommend it to anyone who can cope with some slope in their walk (remember - the Ozark are hilly).
We chose this hotel based on its location to Branson Landing. This was our first trip to Branson and we went with the suggestion from someone. We weren't impressed with the Landing-high end boutique type stores. This hotel was the most affordable one for this location. Be wary that it is on a hill if you choose to walk. However, there is a shuttle that will take to the Landing if you choose.
Hotel is in a great location, with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are clean with any amenities that you need. Lots of parking spaces. Breakfast food is wonderful. We recommend this hotel for your stay in Branson.
great location for surronding tourist attracions. very handy to branson landing and the scenic branson train trip.car parking very good, with parking close to your room ussually available.comfortable suite rooms for more than a single night stay. breakfast ok and could be upgraded with more options. great vale for money in a popular tourist destination
The hotel room was clean. You are within walking distance of downtown Branson. You are also close to the strip that has all sorts of things to do. Close to all sorts of good restaurants. The hotel has a continental breakfast.
We were able to check in early, which was great. The room was clear and at a great AARP rate. I would highly recommend. Plus, the towels were of thick and quality. The location was close to the Landing, which is what we wanted. Thank you!
We stayed here recently for a mother/daughter mutual birthday weekend. The employees were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast had a variety of foods and was very good. The pool was clean, though cool for a heated pool. But on the hot day we had, was a nice break in the day. Also very close to many of Bransons must see places, bloke the Landing, Dicks 5 and Dime, and all the greatblically owned stores and restaurants downtown. The free trolley also stops at the hotel,so you can leave your car and enjoy the ride. Because let's face it, Branson traffic is HORRIBLE! Would recommend this hotel highly. It helped make our birthday weekend a great one!
Staff and accommodations along with conference room were great. Slow elevator but that was good too. Staff provided support and encouragement along with assistance with anything that was asked of them. Awesome job. Thanks
The location was good for shopping the strip and getting to and from the conference center. The price was great for what you got. The person staying in the room above me was a walker and I could hear them walking all the time. That was a little annoying. Room itself was clean, and I felt safe by myself. The staff was pleasant and greeted me with a hello. Overall I would stay again but not on the bottom floor.
These people have been very Accommodating each time we stayed. The rooms were nice and clean--updated. The best part was--we were able to have our dog stay with us. While there is a small fee for your dog (to be expected) they openly welcomed our pet. They rooms set aside for pets. They do not smell like pets have been there. We love staying here and will be back again.
We enjoyed our breakfast with the variety of foods, staff took care of our towels and trash as asked, we had good parking and could get it as late as needed from a variety of shows, and if we needed anything we could ask and they would answer.
We always enjoy staying at the Best Western Plus Landing View. It's quite clean and has easy access from Highway 65. Some upgrades had taken place since our last visit. Contemporary art in room as well as cool headboards and wonderful lighting. The complimentary breakfast offers a wide range of items from yogurt to waffles and biscuits and gravy with sausage and potatoes. Our choice for a moderate priced hotel in Branson.
My daughter loved the swan towel on her bed. However she also wanted to swim right away but the pool was freezing so we didn't get in. Housekeeping does a wonderful job here, the water pressure in the shower is awesome, breakfast was good, beds are comfortable and the location is great. Close to everything but not noisy. Thanks for another great stay Best Western!
This is a great place to stay!! We were upgraded to a suite and it was nice. The only downfall of this property is that the doors open up to outside. I prefer inside corridors but I will make an exception for that
The people at the check-in desk were really nice. My wife and I really enjoyed our room. It was a king size bed, business suite. It was really nice and my wife really liked it. It was roomy and the bed was comfortable. We really liked the location. It's in the Historic Downtown District of Branson. It's a short walk to the Landing and shopping in downtown Branson. It's also a short walk to our favorite breakfast restaurant, the Farmhouse Restaurant.
The picture when booking online is not the hotel it is some kind of sports complex but it makes you believe it is the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is outdoor entrance not indoor like projected. The whole hotel is uphill. The rooms are dark and you can here the cleaning carts all day which sounds like a thunder storm. The pool is only 3 foot deep all around. The grounds are horrible and the area to see the landing is a joke. You can't see the landing and were you are to go to see it has fake grass and looks like something from a horror movie; the only thing you could see was the Hilton, in which all you thought was
This hotel is nice place to stay close to the down town landing and the trolley stops at the front door. The hotel is on a very hilly location and if you have trouble walking it is not that easy to get around the hotel. The Breakfast was good but area seating was very small.
9-12 July 2018. Stayed in the Penthouse—great room with large balcony overlooking downtown and the landing/Taneycomo lake. Front desk staff was superb! Helped us find the best room/value for my wife and I and our daughter and grandkids (6 and 2 years old). Parking lot—like most in the Ozarks—is not perfectly flat though there is a flat area for those with trouble walking. Close proximity to the theater district, dining, shopping and lake. Quiet! Recommend this hotel for anyone. Isiting the Branson, MO area.
We always stay here when we visit Branson and LOVE it! Great location! The free trolley makes it easy to get back and forth to downtown. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Breakfast and 24 hour pool are an awesome added benefit.
Beds were HORRIBLE and we could feel every move the other person made. Toilets are tiny. Vanity is tiny. Noise level is LOUD because of the proximity to the street and the hill so every car was at its loudest at this point. Updated decor and nice staff. Will not be back.
This was our first stay at this hotel in Branson and it will be our last. I thought it would be nicer and more up to date with it being near the landing. I was wrong! The room seemed like it was made for short people. The toilet was tiny, the vanity was tiny and the walkway was tiny. The beds were HORRIBLE. My husband and I barely slept because we could feel every move the other made. Also, I realize this is out of the hotels control, but we heard every car that drove by the entire night because the hotel is so close to the road. The best thing about the hotel was the air conditioning and the staff.
The front seat staff was friendly and the room was clean. The layout was very odd and this is a Motel, not a hotel. It was extremely noisy. It sounded like cars were driving through our room. It is only 2 blocks from the Landing. I won't stay here again because of the noise.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus for a dance competition. I appreciated the low room rates as we were there for a whole week and it didn't break the bake. The rooms are small but very clean. The staff was more than accommodating even preparing breakfast for dancers early on Saturday. Located just blocks from the Landing with a shuttle service that leaves from the hotel.
We were not thrilled with the customer service due to having a leak in our room dripping onto our children's bed late at night. We called the front desk and he said he would call us back, only to find out he penned a note for the next rotation of staff and we weren't moved to a new room till 45 minutes later. When having to have a young child wake up and wait to go back to bed and get riled up due to having to repack everything made for quite a sleepless night. The manager did discount our room in the morning, which was appreciated.
Wonderful staff, great location 24hr pool, solid breakfast, trolley pickup at motel, free water bottles in dining room that help keep hydrated for daily excursions, some 2nd floors are actually ground level due to hills...hills are unavoidable in this area of Branson. Traffic was not bad at all considering the close proximity to the downtown area. Will only stay at this motel in the future!
We were kindly upgraded to a King Jacuzzi suite when they realized that the room descriptions on Entertainment.com weren't accurate with the room types. We wanted a separate bedroom and they gave it to us without us asking at the regular room rate. Besides the clean room and wonderfully comfy bed, we thought it was a great location and quite clean. The nicely folded towel swan was a nice touch on our bed. Would definitely stay again!
Nice room, clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable! The staff that checked us in was very helpful. The breakfast was about a 2/10. Rude guests made it difficult to obtain food and to sit and eat. Another guest actually sat at the table I was using with my husband. It was awkward! I was barked at and followed by a dog with other guests (children). I was a little worried. I would stay here again!
Very clean and easy to get around from the Landing to the Strip. Nice place but not fancy. A very good value and location to get around Branson. I will stay there again. Has trolley service to the Landing or you can walk the three blocks.
The rooms are nice. Our air conditioner was not working very good, but we are thankful that they left a box fan in the room on for us. I would stay here again but make sure I get a room with a fully running air conditioner. Staff was friendly and we were able to walk down to the landing for some shopping. If your looking for a less expensive hotel and want to walk to the little shops on Main St. this is probably your best bet.
This was just OK for one night, not up to what we would usually expect from a BW Plus but clean and reasonably priced. We had a King suite, which was very dark with no windows. Air conditioning was very loud. The layout of the rooms and parking was very difficult to work out even with the mud map provided. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual very basic offerings but nothing wrong. Location was good for walking into the main part of town and the Landing, but it is a good uphill walk back on a very busy road. We were only here one night for a show, so it suited our purposes and the price was good.
Booked our room, for this past weekend. Great stay!!! Had been upgraded to a king suite, thankful they allow pets as we travel with our small dog. Upon check in they gave him a treat, don't see that often. The room was so nice! Within walking distance of downtown Branson, parking was not a problem for the hotel, great employees!!!! I just wish we were able to stay & enjoy the pool! The breakfast was very good, a plenty to go around. Thank you for the great stay best western!!!!
So we arrived and checked in, when we start heading to the room we realize the doors are on the outside of the room, which to me means motel, not hotel. rooms are small, but clean. If you dont mind the door on the outside, you will be okay. I am not a fan.
We had 3 nights here during our driving tour. We picked up a voucher from one of the magazines and got a very good rate. We were able to check in early which was helpful. Very convenient for Interstate and Branson Landing. Room clean, tidy and comfortable although a little cramped and dark. Nice breakfast and pool. Building is on a hill so easy access to all floors but maybe not the best if you have mobility problems.
Well placed for downtown with a local free trolley bus into town. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast . The room was clean and the bathroom large. Branson is a nice town with small interesting shops and an old fashioned railway
On our cross country trip, this has been by far the nicest Best Western we've stayed in. The Manager even walked around the breakfast area chatting with everyone in the morning asking how our stay had been. All Best Westerns should model them selves after this one.
This hotel wad within walking distance to the Historical Downtown and the Landing. It was clean, the staff was helpful and it was an enjoyable experience. The breakfast items were good and plentiful. We would stay there again
We stayed in the Overpriced King Penthouse Suite @ $200 a night. While it had 2 rooms; living room with comfy couch that makes into a queen bed with additional club chair, desk and nice rolling office chair, and cabinet with plenty of storage for food, etc., also a nice sized wall mounted TV, and small refrigerator and microwave...then the bedroom had a club chair, a VERY comfy bed, night stands on both sides of the bed, a nice dresser with good sized TV, and a 2 person Jacuzzi bathtub... and a covered patio that can be entered via French doors from the bedroom and living room... the patio furniture was really dirty; not just lime green pollen build-up, but also plain old dirt! We had to change our clothes after sitting on the bar height chairs. The bathroom is set-up with the shower/tub and toilet in a tiny room, with the pretty sink/vanity outside the bathroom with little room around the sink to set out a flat iron/blow dryer, and a very dim light; making it extremely hard for a woman to do her make-up and fix her hair...ended up doing make-up in the car. Then there was the quite small "Indoor Heated Pool"...the pool is NOT heated! While we were there, several people came and attempted to swim, but left quickly as it was just too cold! My husband and son tried to "tough it out" for a while as we purposely chose this hotel due in part to the indoor pool. Additionally, you need to be aware of the fact that this is a multiple building set-up. The Penthouse suites are in a totally different building from the pool and breakfast area. You must walk outside with no walkway coverage (if it's raining, etc.), AND the buildings are on a seriously STEEP hill! The hotel will say that this is typical of Branson, but that is NOT true! There are plenty of other hotels that do not require paying customers to walk on extremely steep hills from building to building; including your parking area. I'm not exaggerating...seriously! Additionally, the Penthouse suites are on the 3rd floor. When we checked in we were told to use the elevator, etc. Yet when we got to the building, a housekeeper informed us that the elevator was not working! No signs were ever put on the elevator, but it never worked that weekend. While stuff happens and elevators have issues from time to time, it was disappointing that the staff didn't communicate with each other so that customers would be warned in advance...I am recovering from a bad back injury so this was a difficult situation; the only thing that helped was that you can park (on the side of the hill! LOL) so that you actually enter on the 2nd floor, so that we only had to carry luggage up 1 flight of stairs. The breakfast buffet is pretty good :) Biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, donuts and bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit. With a nice area with many tables and chairs. So to recap: 1. The Penthouse at $200 a night is overpriced. Really only worth about $125 due to location and overall hotel ammenities. A regular room is only worth aroun $75 in my opinion. 2. VERY Steep hill to park and walk from building to building. 3. No walkway and no covering when walking from building to building...so if it's raining bring an umbrella and pray your shoes won't slip on the steep hill! 4. Indoor Pool is very small and is NOT heated! Management will say it is, but don't be fooled, or you WILL be dissapointed. 5. Free Breakfast is good. 6. Location to Branson Landing is good (note that you can't see the fountains display on the Landing from the hotel). 7. Hotel is on the Free Trolley route stoping at various places in the downtown area and Branson Landing. Note the Trolley stops running at 6pm each day. 8. The price of the Penthouse Suite is not a good deal! You can pay around the same rate and stay at the Hilton on the Branson Landing and NOT be on a Steep hill, and have a nicer, larger pool....or there are MANY other hotels throughout Branson that have better set-ups for the price.
Nice little get away from the city to enjoy a weekend of quiet and relaxation. Even though there is the typical tourist items to do in Branson, it was a relaxing get away with none of the tourism items.
This hotel is in a great location, very clean rooms, close to the landing, downtown, shopping and restaurants, would stay again, friendly and professional staff, and good continental breakfast included
Best western used to be a fairly good chain but it is hit and miss now. This hotel has lots of use and you can tell. Not as clean as you would expect and a little behind on repairs. The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbling a little due to water vapor. Breakfast was average but well stocked and very clean. Pool was great and grounds well kept. Polite staff.
The BW hotel was adequate only. The mattress was saggy in the middle and the outside noise was very bad. The whole parking lot was very much slanted downhill making it difficult to walk on. The hotel was OK but not my favorite.
We enjoyed staying in the Landing area of Branson. We loved walking around the old town section. We shopped in old 5 and 10 stores and modern name brand stores. Great restaurants like the Farmhouse country cooking to Greek gyros are all within walking distance. Walking back to the hotel was up hill. We had to take it slow but you can take the free trolley. The rooms are newly redone and comfortable . It was a good price for the location.
We did not book reservations when we came to Branson. We showed up unsure of where we wanted to stay. When we drove by this hotel we agreed it was a beautiful location. We were happy that the rates were reasonable for such a gorgeous hotel. The staff was super friendly. I told them it was my moms bday and they really made her day. They put flowers and cupcakes in our room while we were out the first day. My mom was so happy about that. ??. The complimentary breakfast was great. The coffee was great. Their was a trolley that picked us up right from this hotel to take us to the historical district.... best of all trolley is free!! The hotel is 5 minutes to the historical district which was really great. Super convenient. Rooms were clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. Rooms had microwave and fridge in the room. We loved that. This was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay here when we return.
What a wonderful stay and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and met my personal needs. It rained all day during my stay but this hotel had direct tv with premium channels and we watch movies all day. i loved it!
My wife and I stayed here on a Friday night a few weeks ago. We were very pleased with how clean the rooms are. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated also. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were nice. The hotel had Direct TV which was a plus. About a 5 minute walk to Branson Landing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A very good hotel, would stay here again.
Pretty average hotel that is very close to the landing and walking from many stores. The room served its purpose. Breakfast was good and attendants were friendly at breakfast. The downside was cleanliness. It seems every hotel in Branson is hiring maids, this place needs some help as well. Not the cleanest place and the pictures are from our beds being “made” the next day.
My room was very very clean. I work hotel business so I know how important that is. I am very impressed by the presentation of the rooms well maintained. This is a older property and on a hill which I know some guest may not like but it's such a great place to stay close to landing also. I absolutely loved it.
Such a good night stay. Wonderful beds!! Staff was very friendly. My room was well stocked and very clean. Each employee we seen had a smile on there face even tho they were working. Great atmosphere and nice property right next to landing.
What a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast had plenty of options. Cozy and super clean rooms. each employee we passed always said hi and i really loved the fact they were so friendly and always smiling.
We had such a wonderful stay, we really enjoyed this motel. We got a great nights sleep, a great breakfast, the front desk and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. Everyone wore a smile and greeting us. They all made us feel welcomed. We will be returning again.
First, I needed a Convenient location, next I needed Comfort and a Clean room that would be pet friendly. My family had to travel to Missouri for my grandmother's funeral. Arriving on Friday, Kellie earned the 4th C for her Compassion. She went above and beyond and I couldn't be more grateful.
The décor is updated in the rooms but the hotel is old and tired. There was mold in my bathtub. I stayed here due to a conference I was attending and needed to be close to the conference center. I checked out a day early and went to another hotel. The rate was reasonable but I would not stay there again. No sour grapes, just not my kind of place. The did have a hot breakfast in the morning (I didn't eat but got coffee). Seems more of a family kind of place, not a business trip kind of place for me.
My husband and recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and it was a perfect location to the downtown area for us to explore! Our children loved spending our off time swimming in the indoor pool. We have stayed at a few other hotels in the area over the years, and so far this has been the best quality. I highly recommend this Best Western!
First room put in was dirty, trash behind dresser. The jacuzzi, tv did not work. The heat was off in the room and it was cold outside. Was placed in another room but no real apology. Definetely not Best Western Standards by far.
This is our favorite place to stay when we go to Branson. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were both comfortable. The breakfast room was also clean and spacious and had many choices for a hot or cold breakfast. We really like the location and that it is within walking distance of Downtown Branson and also Branson Landing, if you don't mind a little bit of a hike. Depending on what time of the year you visit, the rates are reasonable.
The hotel was a convenient location off the freeway and near The Landing. We had a very nice spacious room. We did have to put on our jackets to go to the breakfast room or pool. The fitness center was not available as it is being remodeled; however, the hotel discounted us for that, which was very nice. Breakfast had a nice variety of food. They also offered complimentary laundry which was great for us as we had been traveling for a week already.
This hotel was close to everything but not as nice as I hope. Breakfast was fine. Carpet in room was still damp from them cleaning from the people before having a pet there. We had a room that you had to walk to down a dark outside are....just weird set up.
Room 119 - I always felt confident selecting the BW PLUS brand but this shouldn't even be a BW. It is a cracker box of a room, the walls are paper thin and even with this room being on the back of the hotel we could hear road noise. The room was dirty and needs a deep cleaning. The refrigerator didn't work. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The property is 7 blocks from The Landing on a hill. Misleading that the use The Landing in their name. Shame on me for not doing my homework. The woman at the front desk, Sandy, was very friendly, informative and helpful. This is OFF season in Branson. I should have stayed at a less expensive hotel. I will never trust the BW Plus brand again.
Bed was uncomfortable, children were screaming and running down the hall after midnight. The room was next to the road and I'm not sure what time the trucks and traffic stopped, but it was hard to get some sleep in that hotel.
In room hot tub either didn't work at all or didn't function properly. Indoor pool was cold and we only used a few minutes..Told staff. Just as cold second night so we skipped it. Outdoor hot tub is no longer there. Workout room was closed. Most of the areas with ice machines were closed. Exterior of building a bit dirty/rundown. Breakfast and location are very good.Had a two room suite. One room was freezing and the other room was burning up. Was given $15.00 off total bill for the issues. Not much consolation. Loved this hotel last time we stayed. Probably wouldn't book again after this stay.
Well, first of all , I'm a Platinum Best Western Rewards Member, I was expecting something so much nicer. This is the Worst, but far Best Western I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy. It's supposed to be pet friendly, but there is no place to walk your dog safely without a police escort. December 30th there was some type of convict running loose and police all over the place asking my husband and myself if we'd seen anyone running. To top off the nasty room and police all over the place, we couldn't sleep because of the noise all night and morning. I'm never one to diss a place, but I'll NEVER stay in this hotel again. We weren't even treated like reward members. It was actually more like we were being punished.
Nice people and location. The room I stayed in was in need of some real cleaning. The room needs some maintenance as well, the toilet ran off and on, the sink stopper was stuck. The breakfast was good. I think this is more of cleaning staff issue and could change with some supervision.
Our son lives in Branson, MO so need to stay in a hotel we visit him. This was our first stay at Best Western, Landings. We were well pleased with our room the pool area is a nice size. We liked the location because it was close to shopping and the interstates. Our over all experience was good. The price was a fair price.
Spent a weekend here with our springer spaniel. Check in was friendly, the room was comfortable, and it was a great location. Easy walk to the downtown area where you can experience some old Branson favorites like the 5 & 10 store, as well as the nice mall shops down by the river. Breakfast was typical, but appreciated how the staff kept an eye on things. Nice indoor pool, but we didn't have time to use it. If you like a more quaint location, absent the traffic on the main drag up by the theaters, etc. this is a great place! Would definitely recommend, especially being pet friendly.
Pet friendly and close to the goings on at Branson Landing four and a half blocks away (downhill). Breakfast was good and there are numerous restaurants close by for evening meals. I'd stay here again.
Visiting Branson this past holiday weekend was made extra enjoyable by the care and attention we receiving by the Best Western staff and the extreme value savings of our room. We will return and use these accommodations again - Guaranteed!
We had a nice stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The room was clean, the breakfast area was clean and there were many items to choose from, and the hotel staff who we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
We reserved 2 rooms, neither of the rooms had lamps that worked, the TV didn't work, just said poor signal, there were no toiletries in the room, soap, shampoo etc. There were no towels in the pool area and when requested it took 30 minutes for them to bring towels.
This hotel was clean, the people were friendly and had very good knowledge of the area, short cuts to get around. The place has a shuttle stop at the front door to enjoy the town with out the problems of parking.
Our room is a little dated but the beds are comfortable and the room has everything that we need. The breakfast is just great - two kinds of scrambled eggs and sausage along with waffles and everything else these places offer. The wifi is quick and reliable. The pool is indoor and nice, but we didn't try it. The front desk is staffed with knowledgeable, friendly people who helped us spend our one day in Branson well. The Trolley downtown picks up at the hotel until 6:00 and that was really great!
Stayed at Best Western's traveling from LA to Michigan. This was in a good spot where you can walk to new and old shops in old town and Bronson's Landing. Room was very small. Good breakfast. Only real complaint was the room had an older place smell. Like the carpet needs to be replaced. Oh and the WiFi was spotty.
My father and I stayed here for a father and son trip. Over all this hotel was nice, it has been updated recently and it's very close to the landing(without paying the Hilton price) however it wasn't clean. I watch Hotels impossible so I imagine what the host looks for and that is dirt and it wasn't hard to find. We had hair on our bathroom door, hair on our shower walls, what looked like to be urine stain on our toilet, dust on the lamp shades and dust along all the crevices where the carpet meets the wall just not clean it's a shame to bec it really was a nice room just dirty. That being said the hotel has some nice qualitys, the breakfast was very good and the staff was nice, when I first stayed there i had these god awful pillows they were so lumpy not the kind of pillows you expect at a hotel, however I called the desk and asked if they can be replaced and I was told that was no problem, came back that evening with new pillows. Would I stay here again? Yes because it's so close to the landing, but management needs to have a serious talk with their cleaning team, a hotel room should feel as if no one has stayed in it before, I definitely did not get that vibe.
I have no complaints about this hotel. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was typical of other hotels. Great location out of the turmoil of the strip in Branson. It was a great value for the price.
we stayed at Best Western whenever there was one at a location we stopped. Always knew that the rooms would be clean and a hot breakfast was served each morning before we started traveling again. Many times you could get coupons from hotel books in the area which even made the stay a even better deal. We have found we like staying at Best Western hotels and do so as often as it works out that we can do so.
We chose this Motel for it's location. It turned out to be a very good decision on our part. We were offered a room upgrade as we are Platinum members. We were given a suite with a GREAT bed. Very quiet. Very well appointed room. Very convenient for our short getaway. Wonderful breakfast. Safe parking lot. Everything was ship-shape. Will stay here again.
This was a very convenient hotel in a quiet neighborhood, but close to many shops and restaurants. Branson Landing is a few short blocks away, but you have to climb the hill to get back to the hotel. Trolley stop was right outside the door. Unfortunately we were there for Thanksgiving and there was no service. We would definitely stay here again!!
THE quality of the room was really good. it is the nicest out of the Best Westerns in the area. The breakfast had a lot of options and was good. The staff was friendly. Location was great. Close to historic downtown (walking distance or a trolley ride is available) and not to far from the main highway 76. I prefer to not stay on the main strip.
Our room was very clean and the beds were wonderful! Check in was very pleasant with smiling and efficient people. The breakfast was very good and plentiful even though one morning we were eating a little late.
was not told this was not handicapped accessible. The rooms are down a hill and you have to walk several hundred feet to bottom of hill to get to your room. Its almost impossible to get back up the hill to go to resteraunt or any guest services so we stayed in room and did not eat breakfast cause unable to walk up the hill. Will never ever stay here again and the prices are way to high for a room like this. I am a veteran so will let all my friends know not to stay hereif disabled or handicapped
Great hotel stay. Friendly staff. Clean room. Central location to all attractions. Free breakfast was good. Would have been a 5 but outside was being remodeled and it was a tad noisy otherwise great. Would stay again.
Great price, super clean rooms, great service, quick and easy breakfast. We have stayed at this location a couple times yearly and it has always been great. The kids enjoy the pool room, location to shopping is excellent
This is centrally located. Has a trolley stop. Our suite was nice, staff was friendly. Full breakfast included. Was going through renovation when we were there. They recognize discounts, AARP, military, senior. Would stay again
Location was excellent, centrally located to the attractions we went to see, many were within walking distance. For being located on a major roadway, the noise level was surprisingly minimal. Breakfast area was neat and well stocked, during their hours of operation. The only problem I had, was the fitness center was out of order during our visit. A small inconvenience considering all the walking we got in.
This is a very old hotel so did not expect perfection. It did appear to have been updated and was very clean with all the amenities needed for overnight stay. The staff was friendly and attentive to refreshing the room. If any complaint at all, it was the frequent loss of internet connection and the strong odor when first arriving in the room. I'm guessing it has to do more with the hotel age than anything. Overall, I would be okay to stay there again.
I thought the hotel itself was somewhat average. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The hotel sits on the top of a hill so a little difficult walking rooms and breakfast. The beds were wonderful! We all slept great! Beds and pillows very comfy! I would have given the review a good but that was not an option.
We enjoyed the 24 hour indoor pool after traveling all day. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great way to start the next morning. We were glad the hotel honored our request for a room close to the pool and breakfast area. The parking area was able to accommodate our truck with a small trailer attached. There was a coffeemaker, microwave, and refrigerator in the room. We will stay here again on future trips.
Weather muted brilliance of fall colors, enjoyed the area and downtown Branson. Nice plus that the free shuttle stop was at the hotel front door! Hotel was a good value for the price. Location was convenient to town and main attractions, would not recommend for handicapped due to steep hillside.
The hotel it's self was great. The location was perfect. Staff was very friendly, the only complaint we have is the inside pool was not heated and should have been. We picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool, but couldn't use it because it was too cold.
After this experience I'm not sure if I will ever use Third Party bookings over calling the hotel directly. I have never had problems like this before when using third party. Not happy with this experience.
I asked upon arriving if construction would be an issue as I did not want to stay if it was going to be noisy etc, They put us at the very back of the motel and we were showered with Styrofoam as the workers were cutting foam insulation above us. I went to the desk to tell them I was not happy. I was told they make a refund, and " I could hit the road. "Rude." Had everything moved in so that was not an option. Room was not satisfactory as bathroom door would not close, carpet was coming loose by shower. Sheet was on inside out, and the remote would not operate the television. I called the front desk about the TV and was told I would have to wait as she was the only one there. High price for low quality.
The staff was helpful, my room was immaculately clean, and the breakfast buffet was better than most hotel breakfasts. They do allow pets if you need that accommodation, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location, attention to details, friendly. I will definitely stay again the next time I'm in Branson!
Overall, the hotel was clean, but lacked the features that I was looking for in my hotel. Some pieces of trim were falling apart and the shower head was extremely low. Most of the light switches didn't work either. I was in the penthouse suite and was not impressed for the amount of money that I spent. Tub worked good though.
Easy access from highway, renovated rooms, hot breakfast + fridge and microwave in the room. Ask for room towards the neighborhood. Staff were unusually friendly. Branson Trolley stops right at the door This location is close to Branson Landing (there is a 2nd BW in town, so check the address)
Rooms are a bit smaller than many other Best Western motels but was very nice, all the same. Could be somewhat difficult for seniors to access their rooms and carry luggage. Easy to get in and out of, although located at a busy spot near The Landing.
The hotel is being remodel on the outside our room was done so the room was fine. It is on a very steep incline so going to and from parts of the hotel was difficult. The staff was very nice and helpful. Their is a free shuttle service from the hotel with 13 stops around downtown
Hotel location near The Landing, spent a lot of time here and loved White River Rest.(alligator tails!) and Famous Dave's(all good-loved the brisket salad). Loved the dedication to ALL our military everywhere-SUPER! Loved Silver D. city-beautiful fall décor and Friendly-birthday treasure hunt-very nice touch-ask at guest relations. Must ride The Runaway mtn. coaster-WOW-a blast!
Excellent vacation destination for Branson Missouri. We were able to catch the shuttle right on the side of the property. Nice place to spend a vacation or business destination. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was excellent.
We were very comfortable at this hotel. The traffic on that end of Hwy 76 is much better and to get around town we took some of the other routes. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was great and in a great setting. Would recommend this hotel for a great stay.
The room was older, but updated. The beds are very comfortable with bedding that can be washed! Not that old bedspread that is the first thing that I rip off of the bed in hotels. The location was excellent! just .5 miles from Branson Landing, a nice walk. The complimentary breakfast is just ok. Very typical. This is the 4th time that I have stayed at this particular Best Western, and will stay again.
I usually have luck staying at this motel. Great location, close to downtown. This time when I got up to take a shower, I had no warm water, let alone hot. When I checked out, the staff really didn't seem to care.
The location is so steep that all 3 floors are at ground level (!), but it is the nicest and most affordable place to stay downtown (to my limited knowledge). When our TV would not turn on, the desk had it fixed for us within minutes. We were comfortable overnight, and well-fed at breakfast.
I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was perfect! We were close to most of the Branson amenities. Great get away for a couple, family, or business.
We spent one night in room B301 located on Main Street. This is a separate building under construction. The hotel itself is on the main street at the top of a steep hill. The price and location were the reasons we chose this hotel but after the experience it would have been worth the much higher price to have stayed at the Hilton on the river. The room was dark in that it faced a roofline which blocked a high percentage of outside sunlight from entering the room. On the plus side the room was new and clean, had 2 full size beds, free wifi in the room, a small fridge and microwave, small flat screen TV, closet, iron, 3 drawer chest and closet. There was a standing sink and all the bath fixtures had been updated. The carpet and walls were new and there was a coffee maker. Breakfast was disappointing. The price was right and parking was more than adequate. The Inn is within walking distance of a few fast food restaurants and easy access to the main highway 65 and you can also walk into town without any trouble. Traffic can be awful on Main Street and it was preferable to hike down the hill and back up rather than get stuck in a long line of cars just to go 4 or 5 blocks. The staff are very helpful and try to make things work out, including quickly fixing our tv remote.
We stayed 2 nights. Upon arriving I discovered my sheets had obviously not been changed. Night clerk and I changed them. The next day the room was not vacuumed and the sink remained dirty with toothpaste, etc.
Trip was great, I mentioned to staff that we were surprising my best friend with this trip for her birthday. I never expected they'd have a special gift just for her in the room when we checked in. The service was fantastic, the beds were super comfy, and within easy walking distance of Branson Landing
This hotel is located near the Branson Historic Area. I think that if we return there, we would probably stay at the BW nearer the theaters. Also, it sits in a hilly area. So walking to the shops and restaurants can be pretty strenuous.
Always stay at my condo at Branson but pick this hotel for a one night stay and it was just as good as our condo was. very clean, Roomy, nice beds, good breakfast, fast check in and check out. Will be back for more weekend get away.
The rooms were clean and well maintained I have stayed at other hotels that were pet friendly and been very unhappy with the condition of the rooms but not at the Best Western Plus Landing view. The breakfast was hot and had many choices including having fresh fruit and waffles! Yum.
Friendly checkin. King suites are big with sofa and desk and chair. The rooms was cool and clean. Had nice beds and pillows. Cookies and drinks were available during check in time. Not far from Branson landing but is all uphill on the way back. Suggest driving to all the attractions. Recommended staying here. Good breakfast.
If you stay at BW Plus Landing View Inn and Suites be sure your room is NOT facing the street. The street noise is terrible way into early morning! Location makes for any easy (hilly) walk to many Branson attractions!
Stayed 4 nights and enjoyed everything. Room was excellent, breakfast was very nice. Employees went out of their way to help with questions and service. Our room was beautiful, quiet and convenient. We will be staying here again.
friendly professional staff. the hotel is doing renovations on the outside and we saw some if it when it was done. the colors look great. great value and very close to shopping and Branson nightlife. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Branson
Why do you need 200 characters for a review...ridiculous! It was a great hotel, location good, staff amazing. They were doing construction but didn't affect our stay! Ok need more comments..crazy! Breakfast was good but needs to be changed every couple days, especially if you are there for a week!
We have never stayed at any Hotel where we had so many positive interaction with so many employees: House Keeping- Supervisor Jessica O., Rebecca B., Esther. Maintenance worker C. Bowman. Desk personnel, especially Mary Kate. All were pleasant and had the attitude that they liked their jobs. Happy employees are definitely better for customers to deal with. Our room was great, the bed was comfortable and we had plenty of room and hot water. Branson has a free Trolley that has 13 stops and 1 of the stops is at the Best Western Plus, extremely convenient, but it stops at 6:00 pm. The free Breakfast was very good, just no bacon.Clean Inn, highly recommend it. Still some construction going on, some was right next to our room, but it didn't bother us and during the day we were out seeing the sights. We had a Happy and Relaxing 5 days and nights.
My wife and I had a very pleasing visit. The entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is renovating but that never became a problem. Once the renovations are done, this will be a wonderful hotel. I would recommend even though the construction is being done. Great service.
Great location, helpful staff. The shower was the highlight of this stay!!! The absolute BEST hotel shower I have ever had!!! I will stay here anytime we go to Branson!!! They are doing some construction but it honestly wasn't a bother. I actually left some clothes there and they shipped them to me :)
The staff were excellent and the free breakfast was good. The property was in acceptable but built on a hill with steep access to everything. The toilet kept shutting off and on all night requiring us to close the door. The sheets in the bed had a strong odor of bleach to which my wife has a high sensitivity.
Although I had to carry my own luggage and no carts are available due to possibly losing them on the hill, an employee saw me unloading and approached to help. I appreciated his time and help. The room was clean and quiet at night, beds were comfortable.
Enjoyed our stay here, hotel right on main route to downtown & the Strip. A bit hilly right here, but great location. Liked the covered porches to rooms, and nice lobby & breakfast room. Would stay here again!
We came to Branson to play high school baseball against three MO teams. Nice hotel and coveniently located. Twin beds are small for two adults. Pricey rates considering it was a slow weekend for tourism in August between school starting and Labor Day weekend and also since they are in the middle of a remodel.
We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. The Breakfast people were awesome they kept refilling everything before it was empty. Hotel staff was nice. We had a couple of lights out in our room and we told our housekeeper and fixed it for us. We loved that the pool was open 24 hours. Thank you for that. We appreciate everyone that works there and helped us. We enjoyed the trolley as well.
Great room at a Great price. Nice size suite, well appointed. Convenient to The Landing. Wonderful staff. Breakfast is what you can expect for a free hotel breakfast, but its free. plenty of cafes within walking distance for a cooked to order breakfast if you choose.
Always love Branson but did not like this trip as much as I do the landing area. Decided to stay close to the landing so I could walk to and from where I wanted to go. Chose this Best Western because it was down in the landing area and look like you was a good Motel according to the reviews. I was not disappointed with the motel and or the staff that work there. Motel is going through some Renovations but that's to be expected. Motels been there for quite a few years and time for an update. Nothing is ever perfect and I don't ever expect for it to be. Overall had a great time great experience with this Motel.
Went here for relaxing end of summer trip. Jacuzzi tub that we paid extra for was broken. Pointless!! Sheets were dirty when we went to bed. We checked in a such a later hour, we didn't feel like calling the front desk n waiting for repairs.
Sandy at Front Desk was awesome! It was a very hot muggy evening and when we walked in our room it was a cool 72 degrees!! Thank you!! Breakfast was great and the area was so clean and accommodating!!
OK so this is a hotel, I get it. Sleep, freshen up, and go again. My wife stays here all the time and loves the location, nearby to downtown and The Landing. We were not, however, informed of the ongoing construction until we arrived. When we drove around to our room location, it looked like it had rained Styrofoam (looks like they are going to stucco the building). It was a mess, and in spite of the staff's best effort, almost impossible to keep cleaned up. On our first morning, we did get a bit of construction noise, but not an unbearable amount. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and the A/C made it frosty. So all in all it was an OK visit.
The positives always first. The buildings and our room was clean. Nothing had that yuck factor. The night staff was very friendly. Now, the not so positive. Parking was limited at best. My first night there we had a hike to our room. The room even with all the lights on are dim. It's the first time I've ever had a double room with double beds. and it probably has everything to do with the room being too small to fit 2 queens. Space was very limited. There was NO closet so I had suitcases stacked in the bathroom. The indoor pool, while 24 hours is a big plus, but it was cold. Teeth chattering cold. Apparently it's not heated. My view from my room was a tree.
The Good: Beds are amazingly comfortable and I slept like a baby. The cleaning staff is also very friendly and does their job well. The Bad: Whole hotel is under renovations and they neglected to tell us this even though I booked months in advance. Rooms are in different buildings up and down steep hills, so travelling is very tiring and terrible for disabled residents. We selected this hotel because it was pet friendly, but it is DEFINITELY NOT. They allow them in the rooms yes, but that's it. There is NOWHERE for them to use the restroom, just tiny medians in the parking lots, with no green space. They gave us keycards that didn't work, so we had to walk all the way back to the front office for new ones. The TV in my mother's room didn't even work! You'd turn it on and it would just shut itself off. The stoppers in the sinks and tubs didn't work properly. One just came unhooked as soon as I touched it, and the other didn't stop the tub from constantly draining when you tried to bathe. The construction made everything look messy, with some nails and wood bits all over some of the stairs making them dangerous. There was also part of a railing that was weak and broken with no warning signs. I wouldn't stay if you have a pet, and I would wait until all of the renovations are done before you book here.
The staff was amazing and our room was very clean and comfortable, although the bathroom area was a little small. The location was perfect. We didn't have to deal with a lot of the super congested traffic, and we were within walking distance of the landing. The pool area wasn't the most ideal (3ft deep everywhere and slightly odd smell), but it didn't seem to bother my kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Two days without hot water is unacceptable. Someone should have let me know how long there would be no hot water. I would have gone to another hotel. I received an apology from a desk clerk twice but that was it.
Hotel was clean, the 2nd building was a little noisy it was near the street of an apartment building. But the front building was quieter. They let me change rooms with no problems. The breakfast was good. Didn't get a chance to use the pool.
The hotel is in great proximity to the Landing area considered the newest attraction with shops and restaurant's. Also great access to all shows and recreation events. The room was comfortable and clean. You can see the pr9ide in the facility as it is going through construction and updating of the landscape around the hotel. Should note it is built on side of hill and parking lot is on side of hill, but it can be managed nicely.
The hotel exterior is undergoing renovation. There is construction debris scattered thru out the hotel complex. The construction noise early in the morning was annoying. We would not have booked this hotel had we known that there was construction activity.
Just about a 5 minute walk to the Branson Landing and Starbucks. Small construction going on, but did not affect the experience. Walk downtown, there are some fun shops. Don't miss Dicks 5 & 10. It's a fantastic shopping experience. Room was roomy. TV quality was good. Bathroom was good. Sink/counter was a little small. Blackout curtains were good. Breakfast was decent, but don't be late. Beds were average. 24 hour pool. Housekeeping was about average, but in destination cities it's not always the best anyway.
The pillow sham on my bed smelt of body odor so bad that it gagged me when I put my head on it. The front desk explained that they do no change the pillow shams each time. That is just not acceptable at $150 a night.
Good location and comfortable bed. Had trouble with tv, slow internet. Breakfast was decent. Would have liked more variety. Had eggs, waffles, yogurt. Coffee was delicious. Close to Landing and downtown area. Good price. Hotel was in midst of renovations. Hope things are better. Would be willing to try again.
We were very satisfied with the hotel, price, service, location to all activities....will stay there again. we choose Best Western when we can, because we ride with a bike group and enjoy the motorcycle reward points we receive...we've stayed in many Best Westerns and have never stayed in a bad one...
Location is good to the landing, the breakfast buffet is good. However this is an old style motel with very small rooms and full sized beds not queen. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just is way behind on today's standards of travel. I would avoid until the renovation is complete. The pool is ok. And we will never stay there again. Just doesn't accommodate a family of 4 in a double room.
Interestingly, no carts available to transport luggage... all had to be carried to room w/desk stating couldn't get insurance for carts because hotel on hill. sheets not changed upon request. Amenities not working tv, refrigerator,
Good location. 2 block walk to Branson Landing or free trolley service. 2 blocks from hwy 65, avoid the sunday traffic jam to get out of town. Close to the other colored routes around town to also avoid the traffic on 76/the strip.
The hotel is very nice. The staff is what makes it even better! The beds are very comfortable, and I love the decor! Excellent location, too! Just a little bit away from Branson Landing. I recommend staying at this location.
When we checked in the staff was great, friendly and helpful, the lobby was fine and it looked okay. When we got to our room it was a different story. The carpet was Dirty, the A/C was freezing us out and the decor was from the 80's or earlier. They did plug in a Glade Air Freshener for us, but other than that, it was the pits. The tub drained very slowly and the sink didn't hold water. Neither problem was fixed for us. We didn't have a car but were told that there was a Trolley that would take us everywhere and it was free. The Trolley traveled about One Mile from the hotel and made a loop every 30 minutes. We were miles away from the Branson strip and needed to get a Cab every time we left the hotel It cost us $24. for each round trip so we ended up spending $48./Day on taxi cabs. Even if you have a car, pick a hotel on the Branson Strip and save yourself a lot of headaches.
Nice place but no elevator and they didn't tell me that when the reservation was made. Parking no too desirable but nice that it has a 24 hour pool. Nice staff. Good breakfast area. Close to re landing so it is a great location.
Great staff, close to everything, great price! Enjoyed our stay and will return to that same hotel in the future. Staff is caring and its walking distance to so many things it makes it easy to select this place.
They are currently doing construction on the hotel. the construction was right outside our room. We got woken up every day at 7 am to the sound of equipment and hammers. When we complained the employee just said sorry and that they couldn't do anything about it. They could have at least told me that construction was going to be going on.
Rooms were OK with rooms facing the outside. Very steep grade drop off in the parking lot. Breakfast was average with waffles but no meat. Great location within walking distance to downtown Branson and the Landing.
The room in this hotel was very musty smelling. The carpet was dirty and needs to be clean. The beds squeaked when you moved around in them and you could hear people talking in the Next Room very clearly. Could not get the TV to produce any channels even though the lady press the reset button behind the TV. The breakfast buffet was great though. I would not stay here again unless they replaced the beds and the carpet.
Overall this property was fabulous. If you stay on the front of the hotel the parking is not that easy. They should put in angled parking to make it easier. The street traffic can be a tad noisy. If I stay here again I would request a room in a different building. Super fabulous location when it comes to walking down to Branson Landing.
I keep coming back. We've tried other hotels in Branson and we keep coming back here. The location is wonderful. Walking distance to the Landing. Located close to the strip. Wonderful staff and the pool is always open.
Me and my kids enjoyed the stay for one at this motel. However the room was having an old carpet and the entire building looks old. Breakfast was good. The location of this hotel is great just a short 2 min drive to Branson Landing downtown and this is the best advantage.
The name of the motel (View of the Landing) was highly misleading there was no view and with that expected location caused me to presume nicer accommodations. However, got a very good night's sleep. Very steep uphill walk to the lobby and breakfast room. Turns out they are on the third floor at ground level.
We like the location of this hotel..close to The Landing. Staff is friend my and courteous. Hot breakfast has variety and supplies maintained. Hotel is in renovation mode...currently working on exterior. They offer a discount for the inconvenience.
What does Best Western Plus stand for? This property is under construction, inadequate parking, and even though listed as pet friendly, has no grassy area to walk an animal. We had a broken toilet and no one was available to fix it until the next day. Motel was sold out and no other room to move to. Steep slope of property is not appropriate for people with disabilities. If this is Best Western Plus it is difficult to understand what the designation stands for.
I stayed 6 days then had an army reunion over 90 people stayed there everyone had the most fantastic time the staff is the best I have ever worked with. Any need is addressed and handled with the best results
Hosted a group of almost 100 people (Vietnam Combat Tracker Team Vets & families) Had wonderful meeting room the entire time and a huge banquet room large enough to accommodate the entire group. Close to all attractions and trolley to Old Downtown Branson. Had folks from Long Island NY to Seattle WA...everyone at the hotel took care of anything we needed! Great staff!!
Even though this hotel is undergoing a rennovation, the rooms were very clean and the beds super comfortable. I have stayed here several times; the staff is always courteous and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone.
All staff members were very helpful and friendly. This facility has limited ADA accommodations and is not recommended if full accommodations are required. There is a free trolley available for transportation to landing shopping.
This was our first trip to Branson. We normally like staying at Best Westerns, so that is where we made our reservation. Because of the terrain in Branson, the hotel was arranged a little different than normal. Our room looked out onto a wall, and it felt like we were in a basement. Other than that, the room was very comfortable.
Major construction going on. Parking limited due to construction vehicles and materials. Room was not clean when we had returned by late afternoon (4:00) was told by desk they did not have enough help. We had to get towels and empty trash. Extremely small room, probably 12x15. Reserved a queen room and got a full bed. Have tried to reach BW by phone for several days and have not been able to get thru although calling at different times of the day.
Our accommodations at this motel were very poor and certainly not what we expected from a Best Western. It is a very old motel and in need of major remodeling and updating in every area. We would not recommend this motel to anyone going to Branson.
The hotel was a great value. Our stay was very pleasant even with the ongoing construction. I appreciated the bottled water sinc I was riding a motorcycle. The room was clean and in working order. Missed the fact that there was no hot tub
Clean, comfortable bed, decent room with minor renovation, microwave + mini-fridge in room, free wifi, and free breakfast for less than $100? It's much better than my expectation FOR SURE!! Well done Best Western!
Hotel is very clean. It was under remodeling when we stayed there. It is on a hill so you may experience some uphill parking. You are within walking distance of the Landing and shopping. Would stay again.
This motel had a very good government rate. The outside grounds were somewhat littered, and room service each day was late in day. The room was fine overall, but lighting was bad. Opening the drapes helped.
Cheap and clean rooms. However, they are doing major remodeling and it was very noisy early one morning. There is a free trolley stop right outside. Good hot breakfast buffet and they met the Priceline price. Only a few blocks from downtown.
I have never stayed at a Best Western before that I can remember. My husband and I have a small 3 lb dog, so we have to find a hotel that is pet friendly. Most motel "pet" rooms are quite shabby, unless you spend big bucks at an upscale hotel. We had the BEST experience ever at this motel. The "pet" room was neat, clean & upgraded. I was very pleased with the price of the room, the pet policy, the room itself, the breakfast, the pool hours, everything. I can't say enough good things about this motel. They are in the process of renovating the outside, so it's going to be even nicer in the future. The only negative thing is the parking lot, which is on quite a steep hill, but it is the Ozarks :-)
This hotel with inside pool is located close to downtown Branson. The convient location makes this an ideal Branson location and offers free morning breakfast. The staff attends to your every need. Free Branson transportation at hotel is available.
We highly recommend Best Western Plus Landing View Inn. Our stay there was amazing. From the room....to the breakfast.....the location.....the roof top patio. The property was under renovation but it was a great time for us. Friendly staff. The manager was awesome. We received a complimentary ticket for zip lining. Our stay was fabulous. We highly recommend checking them out.
Very comfortable room. The property was being upgraded, but it was not noisy or dirty. I saw the staff making every effort to assist others, also. The location is right off the highway 76. It has a good entrance and exit area . The wifi was good.
Hotel itself says its a landing view hotel and not flat. Close to downtown and easy to navigate the town. Everything was to my expectation. So many restaurants close by for food and do not need to go away to dine.
The motel is close to the downtown area - within walking distance. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast items were fresh. Employees were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely pick this motel again.
My wife and I just stayed here for a one night in a standard room. The front desk employee (we didn't catch her name) was AMAZING. It's always nice to run into someone who doesn't do their job sarcastically. The room was very clean, and had been updated recently. You get a coffee maker and a mini fridge, but also: a microwave! Because why do you save left over in a fridge? To hear them up and eat them later! That was a nice touch. The only complaint was the parking lot, as it is narrow and steep, but that's not the hotels fault. This hotel is a good find, and it is a good value. You won't regret a stay here.
Arrived early and our room was ready nice surprise.. The room was just what we requested Thanks Beth... The hotel was in stages of remodeling but we didn't hear any construction the five days we were there.. The breakfast buffet was always stocked with great items.. we never had to ask for anything to be refilled..The rooms were cleaned and compliments were refreshed daily..If in Branson we will return to this location again...Just remember it's very hilly we are in the Ozarks..Good vacation
Some fellow travellers in Oklahoma City advised us to call in at Branson on our way to Kentucky and take in one of the several shows in town and we were so glad we did. The hotel is ideally situated for all the main attractions, restaurants and the old town, a free trolley bus stops outside the hotel and drops off and picks up at twelve points in the town.
My husband and I arrived in Branson a day early so our timeshare unit wasn't ready for us. We were lucky to find the Best Western on Main Street which was very close to the main tourist area in Historic Branson. You could walk down the waterfront (several blocks) but the walk back would be a killer because of the slope of the road. Our room was very spacious and included everything we needed for the night. Staying longer than one night could easily be done here because the standard room had a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. Although the décor was a little bit older, the room was comfortable and clean. If it wasn't for the occasional sirens during the early part of the evening, the room was very quiet which equals a good night's sleep. The free breakfast in the morning was quite tasty and being able to get free bottled water was a bonus for those of us who were doing some sightseeing in the heat. We also wanted to mentioned the staff at the front desk, particularly Sandy and Ashley, who not only made a lot of good suggestions for dinner and tours but helped us navigate our way to our timeshare (first time using it). They greeted us every time they saw us and were always smiling. When we checked out, the other lady at the front desk was equally pleasant (sorry but I didn't get her name). It was a shame that we only got to stay one night because it sure was a good first impression of Branson for us. If these ladies are typical of the service at this Best Western, we don't see how there could be any complaints. Thank you.
Best Western was located just a block from town. Hotel was clean and had a very friendly staff and easy drive to all the entertainment. When the construction finishes I would say "great place to stay"! Overall it was a great place and well located.
We have stayed in many hotels in Branson, but this is the best one so far. It is easy to get to and has a free trolley stop by the lobby. They have many options available at breakfast, both for kids and adults.
Great hotel and location but next time I would request a room on the back side of the property. Street side is too noisy. Breakfast offered is not the best but hotel is within walking distance of many wonderful family friendly cafes.
Our room was warm and inviting, updated décor. The staff was excellent, taking the time to help us with questions about where to eat, etc. You can't beat the location in the heart of downtown. We will return.
Beautiful updated room with handicap parking. Full breakfast including sausage links, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, hot oatmeal, muffins, toast, fruit, juice and coffee. Close to The Landing for shopping.
Due to construction, we were unable to stay in the "handicapped" room, and that presented us with several problems -- navigating up and down the halls and hills. I will tell you that the staff did everything in their power to make it up to us. Good service goes a very long way in making up for other problems.
very nice place to stay, clean, friendly and right by the landing so you can shop and eat. We love it here and will return. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The front staff was very nice and made you feel at home.
Wonderful stay at a hotel with one of the best breakfasts and near everything you could want to do in Branson. You can walk to the landing shops and the historic downtown or drive a few blocks or take the trolley to the strip. The staff was very nice and the rooms were decorated with nice furniture.
I have stayed at this location several times and this BW is a little gem. Reasonably priced; great location; comfortable, clean rooms. Also, did a good job of minimizing the impact of the remodeling work being done. Will come back when in Branson!
The hotel was dated and the rooms were small with the doors facing noisy Main Street. The location can't be beat right next to Branson Landing. Staff was great and very helpful for all our inquiries/needs (we did have a few). We were particularly impressed with how our rooms were cleaned while we were away. The indoor pool is open 24 hours. Parking was very easy. Did seem to be a little expensive for what we were paying for but so is everything else in Branson.
We stayed three nights here and really can only complain about the swimming pool not being heated despite being in a very humid room and that the bathroom vent was very loud. This is a pet-friendly hotel and although we heard the dog next door barking when we passed the door, we barely heard it through the wall. Great selection at breakfast; never had the same thing twice.
The breakfast was poor! Housekeeping was poor! The attitude of of the staff was poor! Management should have known based on booking that this was a busy week but no effort was obvious! The pool was cold, room staff didn't make the the bed due to an empty paper sack, breakfast was almost nonexistent, parking was problematic, and the the staff, while friendly, gave only the barest effort!
rooms and beds were comfortable, staff was very nice. Breakfast area was kind of small so we had to carry our food to our room to eat. could use some more gluten free options for breakfast, but the food was good. Great location for shopping at the Landing.
We just returned from this hotel and it is technically a motel, as the rooms are on the outside, but for someone with pets, this is best. Apparently, if you book your room from Expedia, it gives everyone a "pet room" according to the desk staff. So, even though I actually needed a pet room, they didn't have me down for one because of this... even though I booked a pet room. After a little re-arranging at the front desk, we were given another room and everything was fine. After check in, we immediately left for Silver Dollar City. We had just parked at SDC and received a call from the front desk that a woman in the neighboring room complained that our dog was scratching at the door. I won't go into great detail here, but I think we just had "one of those neighbors". The lady that called from the hotel was super nice about it and explained that maybe we should lock our dog in the bathroom when we leave and that we would be charged an extra $150 if he did any damage while we were out. I explained that we were at Silver Dollar City but would be back by 10 pm to take care of it and she was extremely nice and understanding about it. The doors are metal and he didn't do any damage to the room at all. My guess is that he cried at the door for 15-20 minutes, gave up and went to sleep. When we returned, we couldn't hear anything coming from inside the room and didn't receive any complaints for the rest of our stay. I really commend this place for allowing pets. It's hard to find nice places that allow you to bring your dog. Aside from that, the free breakfast is better than most. Sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, pastries, toast, muffins, bagels, waffles and a fridge with fruit cups, yogurt, boiled eggs and water. We didn't get in the pool but the kids did and had a blast. They no longer have a hot tub outside like in the past, but we were told they would be replacing it soon. It's near the landing and has a trolley stop at the lobby entrance. All of the staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean. We will stay here again for sure.
My daughter and I took my grandson to Branson to ride the Polar Express. WE wanted a hotel at The Landing to be close to the Polar EXpress Depot. The hotel was NEAR the Landing, but truly not at the LAnding. It was a great place, with an indoor pool,a very clean room and very friendly employees. WE really enjoyed our stay; however, if you are planning to be "at" the Branson Landing, this is truly not there. We were allowed to check into our room early and the lobby had fresh chocolate chip cookies and hot apple cider. WE were greeted upon entering and the check-in went smoothly. Parking at the hotel is very easy. The indoor pool is open 24 hours, which is great! We had difficulty with our TV and I called the front desk. Someone was there within 5 minutes and took care of the issue. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were close to our venue and enjoyed our Branson weekend. Breaksfast is provided free! It is a hot breaksfast with lots of options. There was a coffee maker and a microwave in the room.
All rooms have exterior entrance and along walk from parking area. Room looked fairly new and clean, BUT went to front desk this morning to complain no hot water to shower. GET THIS He says to many people are showering at same time try later. I tried to get hot even lukewarm water in shower from 5:30 am to 10:15 am when we left, nothing but freezing cold water. So called heated pool had no heat running last night kids teeth were chattering, Have stayed in Branson 4 or 5 times this year and by fair this is the worst hotel experience ever. Free breakfast just so so. Kinda of pricey to be terrible. The 3rd floor was above us and someone was bragging something heavy from about 1 am to about 2am. Back road was noisy.
We were in a Suite with a balcony (I think only one of two available). The balcony was great with a view of downtown Branson and spacious (like an apartment). The room however, in my opinion, needs remodeling so I only rated the hotel as average. Only ate once at breakfast since it was the same both mornings (biscuits & gravy, etc.). Unless getting a good deal, I would suggest shopping around. Not a luxury hotel, and $179 a night can be better spent elsewhere in Branson (I stayed on points).
The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. But I didn't think it was worth the money we paid. We stayed in Suite 202. This hotel could use some updating. The night stand by the bed had the finish coming off the top of it. The walls are pretty thin as we could hear them it the bathroom next door to us. These are all outside facing doors. you can hear everyone that goes by. If this is what Best Western calls a PLUS hotel I am not impressed.
My wife and I wanted to see the beauty of the change of colors this time of year so we decided to take a day trip down to Branson and take in a show. We love the 5 and 10 cents store as well; it's like taking a trip back in time (more about that in a separate post). Back to the Best Western. We have had the pleasure staying at other Best Westerns several times and was at a great rate on the room. We were skeptical when we first saw the place but what the heck it was only for the one night. The place was built into the hills and the rooms were exposed to the outside. It was very clean and comfortable i.e. Great..no complaints at all. A couple of decades ago I would rate this higher. The breakfast was cold and tasteless. To get to the eating area we had walk up a very steep hill (I'm handicapped and have trouble walking up ramps and stairs). Had we wanted use the hot tub we would have had to do the same thing.
Good location close to the downtown of Branson. It is on a steep incline. Rates were reasonable when booked on travel site. Easy check in and good staff. Free wifi and breakfast. Food quality reasonable. Rooms have odd layout. Large bathrooms that have very little space to hang towels. Also considerable road noise, so ask for rooms in the back if possible.
Location is on the main road and you can walk to Branson Landing with their shops and restaurants which is great. Staff is great, front desk is helpful, breakfast staff kept foods replenished for a sold out weekend, and people who clean the rooms were very helpful. Old style motel with room doors that lead to the exterior and since motel is on the main road, the motel is built on a hill and no elevators so make sure you are in OK shape for walking uphill to go to breakfast. Rooms were quiet for sleeping. Rooms have the older style with sink on the outside of the small bathroom, so you wake someone at night if you use the sink. The one thing I don't like here or anywhere is when hotels put pillow shams that do not get washed regularly on top of the clean pillowcases and clean bed linens. Everyone knows that the shams get thrown on the dirty rug and these shams had stains on them. So why do some motels insist putting dingy, dirty shams on the clean bed linens to make the room look like what exactly? Price is reasonable for the location so not a bad motel but not a great motel either. If you plan to be out of the room most of the time like we did, it was OK.
Had a pet friendly room for weekend at Branson. Room was clean. Smelled nice. Beds were hard. Breakfast was normal breakfast. No fresh fruit. Good location to downtown. Would stay here again for a pet friendly hotel.
This was the first time we had stayed in the old part of Branson. It was nice to not have to mess with all the traffic of 76. The rooms were nice & the the staff were friendly & helpful. Also close to the river front
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip. We wanted to stay at the landing but the hotels there were too pricey, so we opted for the cheaper option-here. Needless to say, you get what you pay for. The hotel, or motel I should say, was booked when we arrived late that night, but it was very quiet, which was nice. Our room was hard to find. It was in a separate building at the bottom of a VERY steep hill that was facing a construction site. If we were older or had children this would have been horrible. Since we are young and sprite, that didn't bother us too much. However, we were sore from walking up and down that hill after the weekend. Also our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I'm very allergic and I suffered all weekend. That was horrible. I had a few yellow stains on the duvet cover of my bed as well. Not to pleased with our trip. Not very clean, in a bad location, and smelly rooms. Will not stay again.
I have stayed here a couple times. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The outside is old but the inside is updated. I read some of the other reviews and they need to realize there is only so much you can do in a limited space and they did the best the could with what they had to start with. It is clean and very comfortable. I had a squeaky bath door and the maintenance guy almost beat me back to the room to fix it. I will be staying here every time I visit Branson.
This is a small hotel. While the room was nice the hotel is old, and built like many motels in the old days where the entrance to the room is from the outside, so there are no internal hallways. There are also no elevators. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was small, but you should know that the room doesn't have a work desk but only a table and 2 chairs, which is fine; it's just that it's been years since we've seen that in chain hotels. The breakfast in the morning was very disappointing. It reminded us of the old days where motels offered a very basic continental breakfast. Between the lack of variety of food options and the attendant that didn't bother to re-fill items, or to even notice that the fridge where she kept bottled water as well as yogurt was not keeping things cold, in fact it was as if the fridge was off; that is in addition to a waffle machine that the waffles come out soggy, which we read a review that stated just that, but still we decided to check for ourselves and saw a person in front of us taking the waffle out after it was ready and it looked soggy which was a complete turn off and we just walked away. Additionally, the hotel didn't try to keep its guests quiet, so when we arrive very late at night there were many people outside in the lot making a lot of noise which makes one feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. So while in the room it was quiet, we felt uneasy being outside at night just going to the car to bring things in and also in the morning walking to the breakfast room and later to the car to leave, it felt uncomfortable to be in a place with people being loud in the parking lot as if they owned the place and the hotel management did nothing to make sure All guests are comfortable. The location was convenient as we were close to the highway to drive to where we wanted to go. Sometimes you stay at a hotel that feels so great you want to stay a little longer, but this one didn't make us want to linger, we just wanted to get ready after breakfast and leave immediately.
Rooms dark, Poor bathroom arrangement. Small and crowded sink area, open to rest of bedroom - so no privacy. Breakfast OK but not enough tables on weekend. Internet service poor, often not working. Location is excellent.
It is an easy walk to Branson Landing and the room was clean and not very expensive. The breakfast was crowded and not much variety to offer. We spent the day at Silver Dollar City and were looking forward to some time in the hot tub - it was removed. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. So we thought we would relax and watch some TV, needed to have the person from the desk come down and replace the remote. Over all it was just so so, not sure I would stay here again.
Was in a good location in Branson. Parking was sometimes an issue. Overall, stay was good. Had an issue getting the hot tub to work at one point simply because it had not been used in a long time it seemed.
While the majority of my stays at this location have been related to business, each time I have found the staff to be very friendly and willing to help, the property to be clean and fairly well maintained, and rooms to be generally clean and comfortable. They feature free wireless internet that is sufficiently robust to support most routine computing needs (I haven't tried streaming videos or games.) The suites are of a nice size, while the other rooms tend to be on the small side of "regular" sized. Being on the Branson Main St. means the facility is built on a hill and may require walking and stairs, the staff is great with attempting to accommodate those visitors who need to be on a ground or grade level floor (just ask.) Enjoy your visit to the beautiful Ozarks and Branson's many attractions.
Stayed the week for business trip. Nice hotel, comfortable room and nice breakfast buffet. Hope to work in the area again so I can book here. The area was nice and nice places to have dinner. There are several attractions but with being there to work there was no time for site seeing.
This hotel is within walking distance to Dick's 5 & 10, the train ride, and lots of shopping. Our room was GREAT and comfortable--everything worked, the bed was great, TV worked fine, A/C worked nicely--we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days there. Breakfast offered the usual foods--plan on your waffle immediately because the ONE waffle iron takes forever to make a waffle--not the best waffle I've ever had either--kinda soggy. ONE WORD OF WARNING--this hotel sits on some hilly slopes. If you are unstable on your feet or in a wheelchair, be careful because it's very hilly and steep--ask for a room near the front desk. Otherwise, it's a great hotel and we would stay there again.
Other than the musty odor emanating from the room, the bed was comfortable and can't best the free wifi. The room is gorgeous in rich dark colors. Loved the vanity with gold plated sink and antique faucets. Breakfast was your average, nothing special.
We were unfamiliar with the city and its offerings. Ashley, Kramer and Beth were very helpful, especially Ashley. She walked us through the setup and the schedules. We only had one day in town and because of her we were able to see everything we wanted to see that was available. Very nice rooms, no icky smells to annoy my husband. Great breakfast. Nice pool. Only comment was why they made the closet door mirror reflect into the bathroom??? Overall, excellent for a family vacation.
We chose this hotel because of location. Clean facility with attentive staff, excellent breakfast. Complaints: cramped vanity area, a/c hard to regulate, slight bleach odor (room close to pool). Nearby hotels have much lower prices, so you may be paying a premium for the brand. But it was better-than-average.
Very clean, great pool, breakfast was wonderful. Not so great internet and not a good hotel because of its location(on a steep hill) for people with disabilities or elderly persons. Other than that it is located in a very convenient location to the landing and tons of shopping. There is a free trolley that stops at the hotel and travels throughout the area which is really nice.
Although this particular Best Western claims to be a Plus,I didn't see it,but them I'm not sure what defines a Plus. This is an older hotel that is built on a hill, but then so is most of Branson.Because of this, there is a unique layout of, I guess you'd say, ramps to get to your room instead of an elevator. The room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side.No complaints except for the lighting.Even with all the lights on,it was very dim. Breakfast was included and it was the standard free breakfast you'd get at any Best Western, scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc.Coffee was very good as was what they provided in the room. There is an indoor pool, which we didn't use but looked to be very nice. Location was good and within walking distance of the Landing but it is VERY steep in places! I would not mind staying here again, but my husband has mobility issues and for that reason, probably won't.
Rooms here are clean, staff great,Great breakfast and close to everything on main street. The Hotel is built in an odd way with everything up hill or down hill. Trolley picks you up at this location and brings you back. The staff here will do all they can for you! rate was 80.99 per night for us. Go see the Johnny Cash tribute while your in town. Its free and you will enjoy it!!!!!!
My Husband took me to Branson for my 60th Birthday. this was near the Landing-where we wanted to be. All of the staff was polite and helpful. Would've liked and afternoon snack such as cookie or something-as other hotels do this. Otherwise the room was clean, and nicely decorated. My husband did not care for the coffee at all-and he is a huge coffee drinker. I wished that there was a bigger variety of muffins and yogurt in the morning.
This hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful. We were able to walk down to The shops and restaurants at the Landing within 5 min. Historic down town was on the way. We will be skipping the free breakfast but will be staying here next time we visit Branson.
This hotel is definitely not a Plus hotel. We originally booked a King room business only to find that even though it had a window, it looked out to a blank wall in a hallway. We were then offered a single queen (for the same price?). This room was extremely small. It did appear clean, however, the blanket had a very sour smell as if it had not been laundered for a long time. Once I completed the check in, I asked where the spa tub was located. The clerk stated it was being replaced. I stated that I was disappointed but certainly understand maintenance. I found out later there were rooms available with jetted tubs. Hmmmm...I don't understand why that wasn't offered to me. The breakfast is very bland...sausages were rubbery, powdered eggs probably. The waffles were good but even in that the batter was watered down and runny....really?? Is Best Western that strapped that they have to do that? The juice was very watered down, no decaf coffee and so on. We were just passing through this time for the night but having relatives in the area, we come to Branson quite often but will never stay here again. Their customer service was just not up to what I have come to expect at a BW and especially not a Plus hotel.
We stayed at this property as we are Platinum members of Best Western and thought it was well located. We were there 5 nights and it was the quietest place we have ever stayed in. I can't explain why it was so quiet, but it was. It was well located to downtown and the Landing Shopping center (where we had lunch one day) and easy to get to for the shows in Branson. The staff was courteous and friendly and very helpful. The only problem we had was that when we moved in, the bathtub was not entirely clean with long black hair at the far end of the bathtub. I mentioned it to the front desk manager and she took care of it right away. (I was told there would be some consideration on our bill for the oversight, but i didn't see any). That was the only thing we were disturbed about. Otherwise I would give this place high marks.
We thought this was a good hotel for quietness and location. Had a cleaning issue when we first got there, but we got that fixed and we enjoyed our stay. Very close to downtown and also to most of the shows in the area. The traffic can be a bit stressful, but give yourself plenty of time to go from one place to another and you will be fine. Especially in the fall time.
This is our 2nd time to stay here. Both times were good experiences. As before our room this time was clean, good comfortable bed with a clean feeling in the whole room. The rooms have been remodeled and are very appealing with nice décor. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a seasonal shuttle that will pick you up and take you down to Branson Landing for shopping and restaurants. We caught the shuttle down, had supper and then walked back, its that close to downtown. We would stay here again :)
For the cost, these hotels are a good option. Outer maintenance on all of them seems somewhat lacking. Seems shabby. NEED ELEVATORS even to rooms accessed from outside. For safety put an ice machine on every floor. No accommodations for elderly or handicapped people in terms of access to rooms on ground level.
This is a very clean hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with our check-in and check-out. Also the front desk staff were very knowledgeable regarding questions we had about Branson and all there is to do while there. Hotel is located in a great area, so close to Main Street downtown and the landing shops, also Bass Pro Shop. We had stayed here before and recommended it to our family to stay there during this trip,
Clean and spacious rooms. Bed was too soft. My biggest complaint was handicap accessibility. I will not stay again due to this hotel being on a hill and our handicap accessibility room was at the end of the building and we had to climb a hill to get to the breakfast room. The handicap parking spaces are also on the decline of the hill and hard to get in and out because of that. Staff were courteous and friendly. If you don't have handicap issues I recommend this hotel.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a recent mini vacation to Branson, Mo. The hotel rooms were clean and everything was in excellent working order. The staff of the hotel were all very kind, considerate, and professonial. Everyone was very helpful and prompt with their service and attention to needs. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again.
Great staff, delicious breakfast, pool open 24 hours, best Air conditioner ever. Big fridge. Little weird that the ice machine and vending machines were in the fitness center and locked at 8:00. But the cleaning staff left us towels when we didnt want to be disturbed and not enough hotels do that.
Disappointed. Pool was only 3 feet deep all over. Appeared to be filled in on what should have been deep end. When I ask at checkin about pool hours, they did not mention. I reserved this motel especially for pool. My late night swim was a bust and too late to go elsewhere. Front desk could only say sorry. Not worth the price!
The hotel has been updated and the lobby and breakfast area was pleasing to the eye and very clean. The checkin day Friday were greeted by a friendly staff/manger . The lobby had cold lemonade and cookies, due to a warm day obviously. That was the last time that was seen. The entire site is on a fairly steep hill, but within walking distance of the landing and area restaurants and shops. Not recommended for those challenged to walking up steep inclines. Didn't see much of the free trolley rides, during our walks in the shopping areas. The room, a suite was apparently recently remodeled. However the room with a king bed and hideaway, failed in that a very small bathroom and wash basin in the foyer outside the bathroom with the shower and commode. Anything more than two people would be cramped and difficult for bathroom facilities. The wash basin cabinetry was very nice, but very inefficient , two small and considering the area on either side a larger vanity and bowl would have avoided water being splashed all over the vanity top. Looking good and being efficient given the room expectations is important. The shower curtain did not prevent the floor from being a puddle no matter how we tried to keep the water in the tub. The TV and remote were either not compatible or just didn't like each other??!! The desk clerk said it was the TV! The was the extent of the answer or solution. The breakfast was nothing better than average. Bland scrambled powdered eggs , Pork sausage patties looked poached!? Very unappetizing! There was fruit loop type cereal, a waffle maker with a varsity if toppings. The staff was begging keeping up with supplying after first wave of diners. Having a 7-10 on weekends, should be 7:00 am to 10:30 am to accommodate late risers, especially with the 11am checkout. Given room service did not get around until after 3:30 pm. The whirlpool was out of service, not mentioned during the making of reservations. The indoor pool was rather small, looked more like a lap pool. The beds were comfortable and the hideaway and chair appeared a good cleaning was necessary or replacement. Not a hotel for wheelchair or walker users given the steepness of the lots. The buildings should be marked on exterior with A and B respectively, having to look at the room doors from the parking lot is difficult to determine correct building.
It was ok for tourist town hotel. Some of the energy to make it a plus seemed lacking in the upkeep and maintenance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great to walk to downtown Branson only two blocks away. Breakfast was average.
This visit was a mini vacation. For a BW Plus this motel was not up to standards. We booked a king suite and it was sub par compared to the BW Plus. Everything needs to be upgraded. Breakfast was not well attended by staff. Parking is not being kept clean. The only bonus is that it's 1 block from downtown and the free downtown shuttle stops at the motel.
This hotel is walking distance to the old town area. Problem; it is on an extremely steep hill. Walking into town really no problem...coming back...good news; there is a free trolley that you can get back to the hotel on! Concerning above mentioned hill; parking and just navigating the parking lot can be a problem. Room was older, but we'll appointed and clean. We did experience trouble with the television in our room. Eventually moved to another room. The staff was very pleasant. Didn't receive our fee bottle of water at check in...:(
Stay at BW on strip as this one is old, smelly, dangerous to park, drive or walk around and more expensive. Not good for folks on walkers or wheelchairs. Built on a steep hill. the parking in front is very limited and remainder of parking is a steep grade behind main building. Must drive downhill then uphill in short distance to exit parking lot.
We had a wonderful time at this Best Western and the location was wonderful. Within walking distance to Branson Landing and many nice restaurants and shopping centers. We really didn't have to drive much on this trip and that was wonderful. We plan to stay here every visit to Branson. Loved it!
I highly recommend this hotel! When we went to our room and opened the door it smelled so clean and the towels were made into a bird! It is right on the strip within walking distance of shops and ice cream! The facilities were comfortable and the staff was kind! If you have laundry you would like to do, it is free!
This is a very nice motel in a centrally located area of Branson, close to theaters and the landing. There is a good breakfast buffet, nothing fancy, and a free shuttle stop outside front desk. My only problem with the location is that it is at the top of a steep hill so the parking lot is on an incline. This could be a problem for people with disabilities. Make sure you ask for a room towards the front desk.
Stayed Sunday the 24-tues the 26th. On Monday we got up late to breakfast at 840 and there was not much left. Monday-friday breakfast is 6-9 and weekend 7-10. My family used the pool 2 of 3 days and enjoyed it both days. The rooms are very nice and they take pets for 10 dollars a day!!
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and this was close distance to where we needed to be. We were surprised to see be greeted in the room with a towel swan on the bed and beautifully fan-folded towels in the bath and sink area. That being said, the room was cramped (no need for a huge round table!) and the free breakfast was possibly the worst we've ever had. The coffee was absolutely the worst. We booked on a group rate of $97/night, otherwise it would have been overpriced.
We enjoyed staying in Branson for our yearly vacation. The Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites is a great place to stay at. We just had to walk down the hill and we were in Downtown Branson. Hop in the car and up the hill to the strip on hwy 76 for shows and other fun attractions. We plan on coming back to Branson soon! My parents and my friends had a great time too.
Friendly staff, great amenities. Nice decor in rooms. Comfortable beds and fridge in every room. Breakfast was good. Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub under a pergola. Free washer and dryer was nice to have.
Stayed here on a quick stop in Branson, MO. Location was great and easy to get back and forth to historic downtown and Branson landing by using the back entrance. The hotel is trying hard, but could use some updating. Our room was very small with large, old furniture, but It was clean and the staff was upbeat. This was one of the only BW hotels with an outside patio where we sat and watched the sun come up over Lake Taneycomo.
We had a single room, nicely decorated and very clean. I really like the old time vanity sink. Bedding was very nice and bed was comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave and in-room coffee. Everything we needed! Breakfast was the usual fare, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal. Staff was friendly. This location is close to downtown and the Landing. Since traffic in Branson is so heavy I would highly recommend this location. We enjoyed our stay and if I had to find fault, there was some street noise from the very busy highway in front of the hotel. But if you weren't on the street side I am sure you would not notice it at all.
I feel the price seemed about right for the accommodations we had. The only thing is, my husband and I are used to a King Bed and he had a hard time sharing the queen bed. Our grandson had the other bed. The bathrooms are really small and you can barely sit down on the toilet and close the door without getting closterphopic.
Very nice location 4 blocks from the Branson Landing which has a large variety of shopping and dining. Hotel room average and quiet. Breakfast area has indoor and outdoor tables and was very clean but should offer more fresh fruit varieties.
The only reason we have stayed in this motel is that it is close to Camp Kanukuk and convenient to dropping off kids and picking them back up the next weekend. Also close to Branson Landing for shopping. It is located in the back of a hill, so lots of ups and downs. The rooms are a little small especially in the bathroom area. There is a little tiny sink outside the toilet area about as big as an airline toilet one. Very little counter space. When you turn on the bathroom light, the exhaust fan also comes on which is very annoying especially at night. The pillows are little tiny squares, not regulation and the outlets on the lamps to charge your phones were dead. Be sure to check before you plug them in and don't just assume your phone is charging! It is the old-fashioned type of motel with the parking outside of your room. I guess they do the best they can with the space they have. If you happen to get a room by a tree, there are some very noisy birds or insects that wake you up around 5.
Lot of uphill walking. No elevators,. Not disability friendly. Customer service and room excellent. Nice indoor pool. Small exercise room. Good simple breakfast. Easy check in and out. Excellent help with transportation and attractions providing good information. Helped with routes getting around town and knowing where to go for meals and entertainment.
The motel was centrally located along 76 and therefore easy access to all the shows and places to eat. They had the info needed to get what we wanted and where it was. We were in walking distance to many shops and the riverfront.
We thought that adding the Plus to the Best Western would mean it is upgraded, not the truth. We booked for a conference on the Landing because of location. For the price of our rooms, I was highly disappointed. The rooms were old and worn out. Our refrigerator door fell off! The knob to the AC was broken off as well as many light fixtures. The breakfast staff couldn't keep up so often there was no breakfast. We will book down the street next time.
This is always a great location for us because we have grandchildren in a nearby camp. Also, we love Dick's 5 & 10 and you can walk there from this hotel. You can also walk to the Landing, easily. It is not a difficult drive to any of the shows or to Silver Dollar City. The pool is a nice size and covered--so no more sun after day at SDC, but there are windows which are open so you don't get that nasty indoor pool smell. The staff were very professional and friendly and the rooms clean. We always stay here if possible.
First, the personnel at the motel were great. I would not give the motel a Best Western PLUS. Bathrooms need to be upgraded. Room had no bad odor. Comfortable mattress. Close to the Branson Landing. If you are a goat, Steak and Shake, and Chick-fil-A are close. Breakfast buffet, I would give a C.
This hotel is well located with quiet & comfortable rooms. The many "extras" makes this Best Western Plus hotel stand out. The breakfasts are delicious with many choices to suit most peoples preferences. The breakfast room is beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are clean, well decorated with comfortable beds. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We have returned to this hotel twice which says a lot as it is located in a town with hundreds of nice places to stay.
The hotel was clean and reasonably priced but the space did not suit our family of six. We had a good time playing in the pool together. Most likely will not return because of the very small room which was a King Suite. The free breakfast and location was an attraction for my reasoning for choosing this hotel and of course the ratings on Trip Advisor.
This hotel has great location and very friendly staff, so that's what you are paying for in the price. Otherwise the rooms are fair in size, decor and comfort, the breakfast is fair and often the dining room is overcrowded because the hotel size is large compared to the dining room size and the hosts have a hard time keeping up with the demand on keeping the food stocked appropriately. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool it was refreshing at the end of a hot day.
This time we got the King Suite. Very nice room, very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. I had to work there and the desk/work area was great. This hotel is close to the Branson Landing within walking distance. It is also easy to drive down to the Landing where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Only downside is the hill coming back if you are walking.
We wish we had been in Beanson longer if only to stay here longer. The room decor was very classy and clean. We came into the room and we greeted with a towel swan. The breakfast was fairly crowded but it seemed there was a wedding and a church group so it was slightly expected. There is a back(2nd) separate building that does not connect to the main building. So if the weather was poor you might have issues getting to breakfast/pool/outdoor hot tub. This would be further hindered if it was icy due to a steep incline in the parking lots, but that is the terrain of the town and nothing controllable by the hotel. Extremely happy
Phone didn't work, Door wouldn't lock didn't work for 2 different days. Damaged my Car in the front parking lot on the light pole. Towels and bed were nice. Room cooled off easy, but the air conditioner made some noise at night. Breakfast had the same things everyday, but the lady kept it well stocked for everyone.
We were put in a room that wasn't cleaned by error. We were moved to another room right away on the street side which was noisy from the street. BW can't help that. The breakfast room was ALWAYS busy so we couldn't sit in that area had to eat in our rooms. Since it was busy breakfast foods were limited, but the lady did her best to keep the food up and the tables clean. I even saw the manager helped her out. BW addressed my issue and offered EXCELLENT customer service.
From the check-in to the check-out all of the staff were very helpful and courteous. Our room was very spacious (Queen Suite) and comfortable. Location to the old downtown area was a plus especially since the trolley stopped right in front. However this service ended at 6pm
We had exceptional service and everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We were with a large group and everyone seemed to feel the same. Loved having the Free trolley service stop at the hotel every 20 minutes. It was also just a short walk to the landing with great places to eat, shop or take in all kinds of recreation.
Excellent location, clean, and a good night's sleep. I am not a fan of any hotel breakfast, so it is nice there is a sit-down restaurant and McDonald's within walking distance. A bit more of of a stretch if you have children, but we walked to the Landing outlet as well to avoid traffic and parking frustration.
Location is great, very close to Branson Landing with access to free downtown Trolley. Rooms have been updated and ours was very comfortable and clean. This is obviously at older property but is very well maintained; updated interior, fresh paint on exterior, parking lot maintained and property was very clean. All of our staff interactions were pleasant and all were friendly and offered help at every chance. Great place for a downtown stay and to avoid the traffic on the Strip. We will definitely be back!!!.
This Best Western is in a very convenient location to many theaters which, at the same time, means people staying here have to contend with traffic on Highway 76/Country Music Boulvard (a.k.a. "the Strip"). The excellent desk staff can offer suggestions on how to avoid some traffic issues. Rooms are clean, the provided breakfast is "continental plus" (with a few hot item), and the indoor pool is as fine as that at much more expensive hotels. The hotel consists of several room blocks laid on on a slope. The back blocks are almost invisible from the highway because of the grade and are surprisingly quiet. The rates here are competitive with similar and even a few better equipped hotels in Branson.
Pros - Within walking distance of downtown and Branson Landing, if you don't mind walking several blocks. (We were fine with it.) Decent breakfast. King suite had nice living room. Great shower. Ceiling fans in living area and another in the bedroom. Staff was very helpful - we had booked a couple of rooms, and my elderly mother-in-law wasn't happy with hers. The staff got her switched to a different room that worked much better for her. Plenty of free parking, and a shuttle stop for going downtown. Cons - The décor is somewhat dated, but so is my house, so that's not a deal breaker. :-) Light switches are confusing - the bedroom alone had 6 different switches. Nothing was labeled and it took lots of trial and error to figure out what switch worked which light or ceiling fan. The mattress in our room was extremely soft (worn out). I was tired, so I slept, but it was not very comfortable. No outlets available in the bedroom - it would be nice to have one near the bed for plugging in your phone to charge overnight. The bedroom wasn't much wider than the bed. It included a dresser and chair in one corner and a Jacuzzi in the other, so the only place to set up the luggage rack was next to the bed. I was constantly bumping into the chair or luggage rack when trying to get into my side of the bed at night. (The light switches were all next to the door, so I was in complete darkness trying to find the bed.) Didn't use the Jacuzzi, so I can't say if it was good or not. The hotel is built into a steep hillside, so parking along the sides is very steep. (There are parking areas at the top of the hill that are more level if you don't mind walking farther.) All entrances are outside - no interior hallways. Overall, it was OK, but personally, I would probably try somewhere else next time.
Very good place to stay. Breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable.. It was close to shopping and the landing. It was in walking distance to shopping store. It was kind of in the old part of town. Also had some food places too.
Overall the hotel was ok,but the parking lot is steep and the rooms have an outside entrance, especially if your traveling with a pet you stay at the back of the main building! It is good location for sight seeing. The buffet breakfast could have been better and the eating area, lobby was warm like there was no air conditioning.
We are so glad that we were able to get rooms again at this Best Western location in Branson, Missouri. It is close to everything without being too busy, noisy, or flashing lights to bother us. We look forward to staying here again next year and many years to come.
Clean, nicely located hotel. Great free breakfast and free parking. Don't judge the outside or you might not like the place. Had a free shuttle outside and easy access to walking to old downtown Branson
This is about the fourth or fifth time we've stayed at this hotel and we were not dissappointed! The staff couldn't be friendlier (and professional)! We always get a king suite which gives us enough room to spread out! The room was very clean and well appointed. We have absolutely no complaints!
This was a great hotel, very clean, comfortable and great staff! Hope to be able to stay here again! The location was good. Always went out the back side to get on main street because it was easier. The breakfast was very good! The staff was so easy to work with and our room was cleaned every day. Nice patio to sit on and over look Branson Landing and easy to get to the shops and shows from the hotel!
ANY time the water above was turned on (or flushed) the noise level in our room was way way above acceptable levels. AT about 1 am the people above us took a shower. The noise in our room was so loud I thought a tornado was headed our way. Sleep was difficult under the noise conditions. BUT otherwise the room smelled great. The room was clean, all except waters in the refrigerator form the last occupants, and the toilet paper was low.
Still a good economical place to stay and downtown is readily accessible. The free trolley stops in front of the hotel about every twenty minutes and makes about 13 stops. (Be sure and tip the driver a buck or two). The only problem we had is we booked a non-smoking room and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. I advised the front desk and they sprayed something in it to make it smell better! Breakfast is pretty good with make it yourself waffles and usual fruit, etc. Parking can get a little "iffy" sometimes because of the hotel being on the side of a hill.
Great value. Clean and very friendly and helpful staff and great location. Liked the fact the pool is open 24 hours. It is walking distance to the Branson Landing and Old down town, great place for the family to stay at or just yourself. Highly recommend it.
What a fantastic stay! The 24 hour pool and hot tub made this stay amazing! The bed was so comfortable and the water pressure for the showers rock! The staff were all so pleasant! I am definitely already planning my next trip with this hotel in the plans!
Hotel was not too professional about cleaning rooms. We requested softer pillows on our way out for the day. When we returned in evening, pillows were sitting on chair but nothing else had been touched. Asked front desk why they did not make bed, empty trash, replace towels etc. front desk said they are gone for day, they got their paperwork wrong and checked off the room as clean. Offered to bring clean towels but ...said she would compensate us but we booked on line so she couldn't do anything.
Very nice accomodations, pleasant staff from the gen. mgr, to front desk, to cleaning staff. This was our 3rd stay here, and will do it again, if back in Branson, MO. Staff helpfull in giving directions to shows, restaurants, ect. This was Not the case in our stay in Memphis, TN. I will NOT go there again, But Branson, I definitely WILL.
Beth and Sandy are awesome employees at this inn. They helped us get reservations and made sure everything was as the advertisement said was offered. I can't remember anymore which one checked us into our accommodations, but she did an awesome job getting us settled into the right rooms (have a mother with special needs). The waffles are the best that we've EVER tasted. No kidding! The rest of the breakfast was nice, too. The only thing we will be careful to do when we come back will be to get rooms away from the street. It's pretty loud because it sits on a hill and the vehicles have to give extra gas to get up the street. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be so noticeable on the back side of the hotel. Location is super. Downtown is within walking distance so you don't have parking issues. We'll be back.
The rooms and breakfast were good , although breakfast was the same for three days. Way too far to walk for ice machine. TV in breakfast area was broken all 3 days. Nice staff in breakfast area. Privacy signs on door handles need replaced. Kept falling off. We would stay again. Slow internet
We had two rooms here for two nights. The rooms are nice and clean. I bit on the small side but it worked for us. The breakfast was average. There was to be many people there the lady would hardly keep. The wifi is very spotty at best. would recommend this location
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and from the get-go the staff was extremely accommodating; giving us complimentary waters as we checked in, basically walking us to our room door & making sure we didn't get lost along the way, and always trying to please. Room bed was super cozy and had soft sheets. An extra blanket, sheet, and pillow were in the closet. Maid staff was awesome at keeping the room clean and we even saw a maid on her hands and knees scrubbing down the floorboards as we were packing up to leave today. Can't say anything bad about this place really. If you can...well you're a negative Nancy.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and will again. The bed are very comfortable and the breakfast bar has good options. It is easy walking to the Landing and historic downtown shopping. I've already made my reservations for my next stay.
Stayed at this hotel because it was within walking distance to the convention center and the shopping district at The Landing. The room was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Every staff member I encountered was friendly. Already booked rooms for next year's conference!
We just spent 5 enjoyable nights in Branson at Best Western Plus. The staff are friendly and excellent. They dealt with a concern we had in a professional and satisfying manner. The location also placed us close to Branson Landing and the attractions in that area. Room was clean and pleasant.
We travel to Branson several times a year and have stayed in many hotels there. Their AAA rates beat the advertised rates from online discount sites. We had a king size suite. It was very large with new furnishings and nicely decorated. There was a living room area, separate bathroom and bedroom with a two person jacuzzi tub. It smelled fresh and clean. We did not hear any outside noises. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, waffles, multiple types of bread, mini muffins, yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cold cereals, coffee, hot tea, bottled water, milk and juice. It was kept very well stocked. A manager was walking around greeting guest and addressing any concerns they may have had. Trolley stop is located on site. However, it is within walking distance to old downtown if you can handle hills. They can also order tickets at the front desk to area attractions. Worth the money!
Great nights sleep! The beds are extremely comfortable. We stayed in a king bed business suite. When we arrived I asked about the rooms available for the TripAdvisor pricing. we were given a larger room for the same price as listed! The staff is very polite and friendly. The room was beautiful. It looked as though it was recently updated. We will definitely stay there again.
I travel alot for business and pleasure, and must say this property met all my expectations. It was in line with everything and minutes away from anything. The staff went out of there way to greet us each and everytime. Must stay when in Branson, MO!!!!! We will be back.
I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Branson Landing many times and they never fail in their hospitality, service and quality of the room. The GM Jeff is always accommodating and his staff is wonderful. Would recommend this location to any visitor.
Great location only one block from downtown Branson, and three blocks from the Branson Landing shopping. Nice to be able to walk to downtown shops due to the traffic and limited parking. If you stay at the hotel, request a room away from the street as traffic noise can be a bit much.
Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Everything was great except for the road noise that I heard all night long. The hotel is on a steep hill and i heard car engines all night long. I asked for a quiet room and was put right on the main road, so if that is quiet, I hate to think of what a noisy room sounds like. Except for the noise, it was a great location, very affordable and I would have given this property 5 stars.
It was fine for a night. Wouldn't stay for too long. The location was great and the staff was very friendly. It was what I expected and the room rate was certainly very reasonable compared to the convention center rates.
perfect location. affordable price, nice breakfast. 24 hr. pool. everything was with in 15 minutes of us. only bad thing was the control batteries went dead the night before we left. parking is free and right in front of the rooms. plenty of places to eat nearby. all the shows are right off the freeway a little pricey but over all a family friendly place to be.
Love it, enjoyed our stay. Great staff . Great Breakfast. We loved the hot tub. Rooms are very nice and comfy. We highly recommend this as a stay when you are visiting branson. I know this will be our go to place.
Could have went much smoother. Reservations were mixed up and spent a lot of time and energy going back in forth with luggage to get things straightened out. Exterior of hotel needs updated, not very pleasing at first sight.
Was I ever impressed to find this gem of a hotel that accepted a discount coupon that I found in a roadside magazine rack. The check-in staff was very pleasant and the hotel manager was quite accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a good water flow. The best feature of this hotel was it's free, open all-night laundry where I could wash and dry 4 loads of laundry. Only cost was the laundry soap. I felt safe and secure in the laundry that was equipped with a flat screen TV and 2 washer/dryer units. I was able to lock myself in the room and be safe from intruders. The breakfast buffet was nice with eggs and waffles. I suggested to the manager to consider offering a turkey sausage or bacon to the more health-conscious traveler. He stated that he would consider doing so. At present all meats are pork.
The friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Everyone from the GM to the breakfast staff to the housekeepers are willing to go the extra mile to assure there is nothing wrong during your stay. An excellent breakfast hot clean and never run out of anything no matter how busy they get. If you need a hotel in Branson stay here.
Everything was great! Good breakfast which is just standard fare plus eggs and sausage. The pool is shallow - only 3 feet deep. That is great for younger children but my older kids found it boring. I will stay there again.
This Best Western house keeping sucks. Found dried puke on the floor. It was late by the time we found the puke and we were exhausted, so we just covered it up and went to sleep. We mentioned the puke when we checked out .
Very convenient to the Landing area. The hotel staff is beyond compare. With the Spring season upon us, this hotel is a wise choice for anyone. With the Branson Trolley at the door, getting around downtown is a simple, quick, affair.
I highly recommend this hotel. Great location by cute cafes and shops. Right by the landing. Very nice hotel for the price. I stay at many places at this price point and rarely get something this cute and nice. The staff is very friendly and treat you like family. Flat screen TV, very clean, easy to get to. Breakfast was hot and well attended to. I had no problems with this hotel. I will stay here again.
At first glance I was not sure how the room was going to look, since it is an older hotel and the doors are on the outside. When we walked into our room it was very nice! It looked nothing like the outside, very updated! The card to open the door was like a fob, you just placed it near the sensor and it unlocked. We had the jacuzzi room, it was very nice, there was a living room space with a t.v., then the jacuzzi was in the bedroom separate from living room and it also had a t.v.! Overall I was very pleased! The room was also ready for us a little after 1p.m.! The negative for us was you could hear people upstairs in the room above us. You could also hear them walking around. Kinda ruins the romantic setting that you are going for when you get a jacuzzi room.
We came here on a business trip but ended up having a really good time. The room was clean, well stocked daily and had everything we needed and more: refrigerator, microwave, WiFi, breakfast and an all night swimming pool. We stayed in room 301 which we believe is the best location there! You are steps away from the door that enters the pool and dining area, ground floor to the parking lot and no steps!
I booked a Jacuzzi room and everything was great except that whenever a room above or next door used any water(bath, shower, toilet) it was SO loud. Everything else was wonderful. The king bed was comfortable but my kids hated the sofa bed. They said it was very springy. The room had 2 Tv's which was nice.
I've stayed at many Best Western's and never had an issue with the beds until this last stay. The bed was like a rock. I could feel the springs when moving around. Otherwise, everything else was nice.
Great location with easy access to main through fare. The day began with a continental breakfast that would have been worth paying for. And then the wait staff assisted with coordinating our shopping trip and golf outing. They went above and beyond their normal duties in seeing that our stay was the best one we could have had.
We like it but we have a room on the back side and the noise from the neghbors above us was horrible. Did not call it in as I think there is probably nothing the hotel staff could do about it. Great breakfast. Enjoy and we will be back.
I will stay at your hotel the next time I come through Branson. It is situated close to Highway 65S and is enroute to my destination in Arkansas. Your hotel is very clean and well managed. I even asked directions to HWY 65S and the hotel staff knew exactly how to get there. I found that excellent as well. My whole experience was excellent. I thank you also for offering a very clean and professionally managed environment.
I am Highly Recommend this Place ,Very Friendly Staff, Clean Rooms Free Breakfast is Fantastic Plan on Comming Back in the Summer and won't stay anywhere else there also is a Free Shuttle that stops here for trips down town
For a rate of around $80 + tax I would say its a good deal. Rooms are clean and comfortable. WYFI & TV certainly adequate and breakfasat is included. Its a 5 minute walk to the landing, so for us, it ticked all the boxes.
We reserved the room on line, check in was easy, the room was great, the employees were courteous and helpful. WE would stay there again when we go to Branson. It is easy to access all attractions from the motel.
Rooms are not user friendly if you use cell phones, tablets or anything you want to charge. Room 503 had no outlets near my bed. Had to move the bed to get to an outlet. Looks beautiful & clean at first glance. The only real positive is the beds were VERY comfortable. I would stay again for a good nights sleep. Front desk gals were very friendly & helpful. Thank you.
Extremely nice and very Professional Employees. The bed was so comfortable the decor was outstanding and the hotel was very quiet. I would recommend to anyone for business or pleasure and pet friendly as well.
The facility is nice, but rooms a long highway are extremely noisy. If you stay at this hotel, insist on a room that is on the back side of the property. It is impossible to sleep in the rooms along the highway.
Many of the rooms smell of various things- smoke, mold, plug in air fresheners that must have been used to cover up other odors. The rooms aren't clean and have caked on dust on furniture. Carpeting in rooms is musty and needs to be replaced. Location is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel; however, the location isn't worth having a smelly, dirty room.
older building but well maintained, our room was small but clean and orderly, however, our room was on the side of the building that faces the main street. As a result, we were unable to sleep due to the loud noise of cars and trucks driving by pretty much all night long. Hotel is located walking distance to the Landing and many shops.
We have stayed here several times with a group and just the 2 of us. I like the fact it is close enough to downtown and the Landing it is an easy walk. If the girls want to go shop the guys can hang out at the hotel or we can all go to the Landing for dinner.
I booked three nights at the Best Western Landing due to the location of being downtown. It is a few blocks from downtown, easy walking distance and is a charm among hotels in Branson. The room was impeccable with amazing decor and great service. The breakfast was hot and fresh, amazing waffles and the service was very attentive. Overall, the stay was amazing and would definitely stay here each time I come to Branson.
This Best Western is located in downtown Branson and is very convenient to the Branson Landing and all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The staff was incredibly hospitable and willing to do anything for me during my stay. The trolley has a stop at the hotel to make it easy to get around the area, or if you want the exercise, the hotel is close to a lot of things you can walk to.
Clean rooms, friendly staff and breakfast was good. Many options for food close by and walking distance to the landing. Nice spacious patio. Parking may be a challenge to those who have trouble walking.
We had a great time at Best Western Plus Landing View. We had the Jacuzzi suite at a great price. All went well. Go for the Jacuzzi suite. You'll enjoy it, especially if you have children and do not want to get an extra room.
This was our second time to stay at this motel within the past year. The first time it was just my wife and I. This time however, it was the whole family (6 of our 8 kids) so we had three rooms. The best testimonial I can give is to state we had actually picked a different hotel to stay at on this trip. Not because of any previous experience but just because we like to try new things and it put us closer to a specific attraction. We arrived at the other hotel a few hours before check-in time. But after my wife an 15 year old son contacted the lobby staff about checking in early, they decided it would be best to look for another place (without canceling this reservation in case we didn't find one) We stopped at two others before my wife told me to just head to this Best Western. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and very courteously. We were able to get the one thing we required - three adjoining rooms with two of them having a connecting door. Thank goodness the only room issue was in OUR (the adults) room. There was a wall light between the beds that had a short and tripped the breaker. A call to re front desk had maintenance there within two mins. After a few trial and error breaker resets (the breaker is located away from the room). The short was located and even though I saw the employee get shocked he maintained a happy and enjoyable mood. We were offered a different room but could not accept as it would have not allowed the room set up we desired or the family. We were fine with not having a lamp between the beds (we were only going to use one anyway) however a short time after we thought the situation was resolved the maintenance man was at our door with a new free standing lamp which he placed between the beds The Branson Trolly stops in the hotel parking lot, which made it easy for our two 17 year olds and the 15 year old to ride it down to the landing and shop by themselves. Later my wife and some of the kids rode it just to give the kids the experience and look at the decorations/lights. The kids age 6,3,1 all loved it and talked about it with me at length that night. The motel is clean the pool was refreshing, clean, and not busy at all. The best part is that it was located separate from the rooms so it was allowed to be used 24 hours a day The two teen boys said the workout facilities were nice as well. The staff member at breakfast was as friendly as all the others and very accommodating not just to us but to the whole room full of people. We were pleased with our families stay and will no longer look to stay at any other place in Branson
This motel is on a busy street. Some of the cars and motorcycles going by are very loud all times of the day and night. The motel is old and very well used, the staff was unfriendly, and not very helpful for a tourist town. The rate was ok
This motel is not recommended for handicap people. Difficult to get around parking lot on walker or wheelchair. Branson is not a handicap friendly town. Gilleys had no handicap parking. Dollys had alot but you had to get there 2 hrs early.
Hotel and staff were fine. Rooms were good as well. The only complaint was that the breakfast was the worst we have ever had. Food was all cold, eggs were ice cold and like rubber. Gravy was terrible and very cold. Told the front desk and all they had to say was hope you give us a try again. NEVER !!! To many other hotels in area that provides a good breakfast, that is warm and tasty.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Downtown Branson. The hotel it on the Main street and divided in two. We were in the Suites. The rooms have been updated and were relatively quiet. Breakfast was good. We were there during Veterans Day and the morning of Veterans Day - at 8 a.m. - a sweet gentlemen in full dress Marine uniform - played revelery! The hotel was full of veterans so it was extra special! Close to shopping!
My husband and I stayed here for my birthday. The location was amazing!!!! The parking was difficult. The road noise was terrible and the wall are really thin, so you can hear everything. I don't think I would have enjoyed this hotel if I had had my children. However, the staff was really really friendly and I enjoyed our stay. It was clean and our bed was comfortable and sometimes that's all a girl needs. :)
Hotel easy to find. Did not like room door enterance to outside. Hard walk up hill and outside from the room to breakfast room & pool. Room was small but clean and comfortable. a lamp in the room had a broken switch. had to plug in to use.
The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. We were there for the Polar Express on the landing, this hotel is close enough that we walked down the hill, coming back up was a little more difficult with little kids but we made it. There is a free trolly that can take you down but it quits running at 6 p.m.. It's convenient to everything. Breakfast was good they had biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal and yogurt.
We stayed here overnight when in town to bring our kiddo to the polar express train ride. It is located about 3 blocks from Branson landing- a super easy walk. Has a big pool for that is 3 ft deep the whole way across- so good for younger kids. Rooms are clean and spacious. Free breakfast in morning was very good with lots of different options. The staff at front desk were very nice. They were not very helpful in picking out local places to eat though. When we asked, they pointed us toward chain restaurants vs local places. Overall, solid hotel. We would stay again. Much cheaper than Hilton options 2 blocks away.
We were so please with the location and things available for the guests. We love the breakfast and appreciated that bottled water was available for breakfast and the apples and bananas were available too. The work out room was sufficient for my workout.
First time in Branson, Mo and the stay at Best Western Branson Landing was an enjoyable experience. General location of the facility was great in getting around Branson. Even the Free City Trolley bus stops in front of the hotel. Breakfast Menu was great and the coffee is always good at Best Western. Helpful and Professional staff assisted us several times. Highly Recommend
Had a coupon for this place so we stopped in to get a room. It is located almost in the middle of a hill. Front desk service was great, Chris was very friendly and answered questions we had about some attractions. Our room was in a separate building as the main hotel. Was a little leery of being there and exterior entrance room on the 3rd floor but had no problems the 2 nights we stayed. Room was clean and since that is major thing I want it suited us fine. Walked to some downtown stores to look around and had dinner at Farmhouse restaurant while there. Breakfast was usual hotel food, it was very busy but everything was kept filled and clean! Didn't use the pool but was told since it was a 3ft pool, it was open 24 hrs. If we travel to Branson again we would stay here again.
Bldg sits on a hill, parking or navigating the lot difficult. You have to go outside to access the indoor pool. Toilet didn't work. Double room very small. Vanity no space. Needs a serious update. Carpet has cigarette burns. I appreciate all the towels but how about more than one hook to hang them on. Truly disappointed. I would not stay here again.
This hotel was a great addition to our lovely time in Branson. The staff was very friendly, and the hot breakfast that was offered in the morning had a great variety. We loved the location, as it was very close to a great shopping area and local restaurants. Rooms were very clean as well. We will definitely be back!
The hotel room was very clean and spacious. The concierge was kind and helpful and the continental breakfast was good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, ect. Unfortunately we were placed in a room facing the highway. The cars were loud racing up and down the road so we didn't get much peace and quiet. I would stay here again if I was on the other side of the building.
Do not stay at this hotel. I arrived late after an 18-hour day and just wanted to go to sleep. My room ended up being in one of the "out-buildings" at the back of the property, a veritable warren of rooms next to a burned-out building and some questionable neighbors that hung out their windows and watched me cross the parking lot. Already a little freaked out, I got to my room and looked around, mostly checking for cleanliness in the bathroom and getting a lay of the land. I pulled back the covers on the bed, and there were two BEDBUGS crawling across the sheets. I high-tailed it out of there and went to the front desk, and the response from the person at the front desk was "I've never had that happen before..." Well, it happened. Immediately when I got home, I threw away my suitcase and washed all of my clothes on high heat just in case I brought something home with me. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
We stayed there for 2 nights recently. The room was nice but bathroom small. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with any arrangements that I needed and I cannot say enough good about them. It is built on the side of a hill like many of the places in Branson so be ready to walk up hill at least one way if you venture out without a vehicle. The Wi-Fi did not work well for me at all but there are 3 computers in the lobby that are free and worked great. The breakfast was good but would have been better with grits.
Have stayed at this hotel several times. the rooms and beds are super comfortable and the staff is wonderful! The general manager is very involved with the property and does a great job of keeping things organized and up to date. Short walk to downtown Branson, Branson Landing, etc. If you don't want to walk, you can catch the free downtown trolley to get you around!
The convenience to the river and downtown area was an outstanding value. The access would be a bit challenging for anyone needing assistance. Street side rooms were a bit noisy because of traffic climbing a fairly steep hill a shot distance away.
The hotel is clean & comfortable. It is conveniently located close to the historic downtown and is a Trolly stop for transportation to area entertainment venues. 24-hour open pool is a nice feature. Rooms on street side are quite noisy due to traffic until late at night, rooms on parking lot side are muck quieter.
This Best Western is in a good location and made it very easy to access everything in Branson. Was close to the river end of Branson and "old Branson" but the town contains lots of old and new shopping and dining. The "other" end of Branson was also easy to access but during peak season I think the traffic can be pretty horrific ~ it is a two way road. The room needed more electrical outlets for charging purposes.
Above average experience. 2 problems, wifi terrible. When I made the reservations asked for a convenient room as my wife is handicapped. We were given a room 8 doors from the opening to our level. Food was good, rooms clean but small. Parking lot sloped a lot
