"Location"

11/10/2018

We chose this hotel based on its location to Branson Landing. This was our first trip to Branson and we went with the suggestion from someone. We weren't impressed with the Landing-high end boutique type stores. This hotel was the most affordable one for this location. Be wary that it is on a hill if you choose to walk. However, there is a shuttle that will take to the Landing if you choose.

Jeff K, General Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm sorry that the Branson Landing wasn't your cup of tea. Even if folks don't like the stores, it's a pretty walk down by the water of Lake Taneycomo. We understand that individual tastes vary, but Branson has been able to diversify greatly in it's choices for entertainment. So whether you are into live music shows, inspirational theater, hiking, fishing, boating, golfing, shopping, and eateries of all kinds, Branson really does have something for everyone. Thanks for mentioning our great value for the Downtown area. If we can be of help targeting your entertainment selections please let us know when you return to see us.

Hotel is in a great location, with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are clean with any amenities that you need. Lots of parking spaces. Breakfast food is wonderful. We recommend this hotel for your stay in Branson.

"Close to downtown Branson"

19/09/2018

The hotel room was clean. You are within walking distance of downtown Branson. You are also close to the strip that has all sorts of things to do. Close to all sorts of good restaurants. The hotel has a continental breakfast.

Jeff K, General Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
So glad you liked our location and had a great stay with us. Please come back again very soon!

"Great Stay at Best Western"

18/09/2018

We were able to check in early, which was great. The room was clear and at a great AARP rate. I would highly recommend. Plus, the towels were of thick and quality. The location was close to the Landing, which is what we wanted. Thank you!

Jeff K, General Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the great review. I'm so glad we treated you right and that you enjoyed your stay! Come back and see us.

"Great stay!"

17/09/2018

We stayed here recently for a mother/daughter mutual birthday weekend. The employees were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast had a variety of foods and was very good. The pool was clean, though cool for a heated pool. But on the hot day we had, was a nice break in the day. Also very close to many of Bransons must see places, bloke the Landing, Dicks 5 and Dime, and all the greatblically owned stores and restaurants downtown. The free trolley also stops at the hotel,so you can leave your car and enjoy the ride. Because let's face it, Branson traffic is HORRIBLE! Would recommend this hotel highly. It helped make our birthday weekend a great one!

"Great Place to Stay"

Staff and accommodations along with conference room were great. Slow elevator but that was good too. Staff provided support and encouragement along with assistance with anything that was asked of them. Awesome job. Thanks

"A place to lay your head"

03/09/2018

The location was good for shopping the strip and getting to and from the conference center. The price was great for what you got. The person staying in the room above me was a walker and I could hear them walking all the time. That was a little annoying. Room itself was clean, and I felt safe by myself. The staff was pleasant and greeted me with a hello. Overall I would stay again but not on the bottom floor.

"Very Nice Place to Stay"

02/09/2018

These people have been very Accommodating each time we stayed. The rooms were nice and clean--updated. The best part was--we were able to have our dog stay with us. While there is a small fee for your dog (to be expected) they openly welcomed our pet. They rooms set aside for pets. They do not smell like pets have been there. We love staying here and will be back again.

"Excellent Best Western"

5
26/08/2018

We enjoyed our breakfast with the variety of foods, staff took care of our towels and trash as asked, we had good parking and could get it as late as needed from a variety of shows, and if we needed anything we could ask and they would answer.

"Very nice motel"

18/08/2018

We always enjoy staying at the Best Western Plus Landing View. It's quite clean and has easy access from Highway 65. Some upgrades had taken place since our last visit. Contemporary art in room as well as cool headboards and wonderful lighting. The complimentary breakfast offers a wide range of items from yogurt to waffles and biscuits and gravy with sausage and potatoes. Our choice for a moderate priced hotel in Branson.

"Great Stay!"

17/08/2018

My daughter loved the swan towel on her bed. However she also wanted to swim right away but the pool was freezing so we didn't get in. Housekeeping does a wonderful job here, the water pressure in the shower is awesome, breakfast was good, beds are comfortable and the location is great. Close to everything but not noisy. Thanks for another great stay Best Western!

"Great stay!"

06/08/2018

This is a great place to stay!! We were upgraded to a suite and it was nice. The only downfall of this property is that the doors open up to outside. I prefer inside corridors but I will make an exception for that

"Nice Room, Nice Location"

5
06/08/2018

The people at the check-in desk were really nice. My wife and I really enjoyed our room. It was a king size bed, business suite. It was really nice and my wife really liked it. It was roomy and the bed was comfortable. We really liked the location. It's in the Historic Downtown District of Branson. It's a short walk to the Landing and shopping in downtown Branson. It's also a short walk to our favorite breakfast restaurant, the Farmhouse Restaurant.

"False advertisement"

03/08/2018

The picture when booking online is not the hotel it is some kind of sports complex but it makes you believe it is the entrance to the hotel. The hotel is outdoor entrance not indoor like projected. The whole hotel is uphill. The rooms are dark and you can here the cleaning carts all day which sounds like a thunder storm. The pool is only 3 foot deep all around. The grounds are horrible and the area to see the landing is a joke. You can't see the landing and were you are to go to see it has fake grass and looks like something from a horror movie; the only thing you could see was the Hilton, in which all you thought was

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Some third party web-sites have pictures of some of the attractions that are in the area. I'm sorry if it's misleading, we've attempted to contact all of them but some have not been cooperative. If it helps, please book directly with Bestwestern.com, for accurate information.

"Nice Hotel close to downtown"

4
01/08/2018

This hotel is nice place to stay close to the down town landing and the trolley stops at the front door. The hotel is on a very hilly location and if you have trouble walking it is not that easy to get around the hotel. The Breakfast was good but area seating was very small.

"Great room and service!"

4
27/07/2018

9-12 July 2018. Stayed in the Penthouse—great room with large balcony overlooking downtown and the landing/Taneycomo lake. Front desk staff was superb! Helped us find the best room/value for my wife and I and our daughter and grandkids (6 and 2 years old). Parking lot—like most in the Ozarks—is not perfectly flat though there is a flat area for those with trouble walking. Close proximity to the theater district, dining, shopping and lake. Quiet! Recommend this hotel for anyone. Isiting the Branson, MO area.

"GREAT place to stay!!!"

22/07/2018

We always stay here when we visit Branson and LOVE it! Great location! The free trolley makes it easy to get back and forth to downtown. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Breakfast and 24 hour pool are an awesome added benefit.

"Horrible stay"

1
22/07/2018

Beds were HORRIBLE and we could feel every move the other person made. Toilets are tiny. Vanity is tiny. Noise level is LOUD because of the proximity to the street and the hill so every car was at its loudest at this point. Updated decor and nice staff. Will not be back.

Jeff K, General Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We apologize that you were disappointed in your stay

"Horrible"

2
21/07/2018

This was our first stay at this hotel in Branson and it will be our last. I thought it would be nicer and more up to date with it being near the landing. I was wrong! The room seemed like it was made for short people. The toilet was tiny, the vanity was tiny and the walkway was tiny. The beds were HORRIBLE. My husband and I barely slept because we could feel every move the other made. Also, I realize this is out of the hotels control, but we heard every car that drove by the entire night because the hotel is so close to the road. The best thing about the hotel was the air conditioning and the staff.

"Clean but loud"

3
21/07/2018

The front seat staff was friendly and the room was clean. The layout was very odd and this is a Motel, not a hotel. It was extremely noisy. It sounded like cars were driving through our room. It is only 2 blocks from the Landing. I won't stay here again because of the noise.

"Good location, clean rooms"

4
18/07/2018

We stayed at the Best Western Plus for a dance competition. I appreciated the low room rates as we were there for a whole week and it didn't break the bake. The rooms are small but very clean. The staff was more than accommodating even preparing breakfast for dancers early on Saturday. Located just blocks from the Landing with a shuttle service that leaves from the hotel.

"Branson Getaway"

3
18/07/2018

We were not thrilled with the customer service due to having a leak in our room dripping onto our children's bed late at night. We called the front desk and he said he would call us back, only to find out he penned a note for the next rotation of staff and we weren't moved to a new room till 45 minutes later. When having to have a young child wake up and wait to go back to bed and get riled up due to having to repack everything made for quite a sleepless night. The manager did discount our room in the morning, which was appreciated.

"Wonderful"

5
18/07/2018

Wonderful staff, great location 24hr pool, solid breakfast, trolley pickup at motel, free water bottles in dining room that help keep hydrated for daily excursions, some 2nd floors are actually ground level due to hills...hills are unavoidable in this area of Branson. Traffic was not bad at all considering the close proximity to the downtown area. Will only stay at this motel in the future!

"Nice hotel"

5
17/07/2018

We were kindly upgraded to a King Jacuzzi suite when they realized that the room descriptions on Entertainment.com weren't accurate with the room types. We wanted a separate bedroom and they gave it to us without us asking at the regular room rate. Besides the clean room and wonderfully comfy bed, we thought it was a great location and quite clean. The nicely folded towel swan was a nice touch on our bed. Would definitely stay again!

"Vacation"

4
15/07/2018

Nice room, clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable! The staff that checked us in was very helpful. The breakfast was about a 2/10. Rude guests made it difficult to obtain food and to sit and eat. Another guest actually sat at the table I was using with my husband. It was awkward! I was barked at and followed by a dog with other guests (children). I was a little worried. I would stay here again!

"good value"

4
05/07/2018

Very clean and easy to get around from the Landing to the Strip. Nice place but not fancy. A very good value and location to get around Branson. I will stay there again. Has trolley service to the Landing or you can walk the three blocks.

"Weekend Trip"

4
01/07/2018

The rooms are nice. Our air conditioner was not working very good, but we are thankful that they left a box fan in the room on for us. I would stay here again but make sure I get a room with a fully running air conditioner. Staff was friendly and we were able to walk down to the landing for some shopping. If your looking for a less expensive hotel and want to walk to the little shops on Main St. this is probably your best bet.

Jeff K, General Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Anna M., Thank you so much for staying with us and commenting on our value. We have a great staff and I believe people do appreciate the location so close to Historic Downtown Branson, the Branson Landing and the Branson Convention Center. Please come back to see us very soon.

"One night stay"

3
16/06/2018

This was just OK for one night, not up to what we would usually expect from a BW Plus but clean and reasonably priced. We had a King suite, which was very dark with no windows. Air conditioning was very loud. The layout of the rooms and parking was very difficult to work out even with the mud map provided. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the usual very basic offerings but nothing wrong. Location was good for walking into the main part of town and the Landing, but it is a good uphill walk back on a very busy road. We were only here one night for a show, so it suited our purposes and the price was good.

"Thanks ??"

5
11/06/2018

Booked our room, for this past weekend. Great stay!!! Had been upgraded to a king suite, thankful they allow pets as we travel with our small dog. Upon check in they gave him a treat, don't see that often. The room was so nice! Within walking distance of downtown Branson, parking was not a problem for the hotel, great employees!!!! I just wish we were able to stay & enjoy the pool! The breakfast was very good, a plenty to go around. Thank you for the great stay best western!!!!

"This is a motel more than a hotel"

3
01/06/2018

So we arrived and checked in, when we start heading to the room we realize the doors are on the outside of the room, which to me means motel, not hotel. rooms are small, but clean. If you dont mind the door on the outside, you will be okay. I am not a fan.

"Good value"

4
31/05/2018

We had 3 nights here during our driving tour. We picked up a voucher from one of the magazines and got a very good rate. We were able to check in early which was helpful. Very convenient for Interstate and Branson Landing. Room clean, tidy and comfortable although a little cramped and dark. Nice breakfast and pool. Building is on a hill so easy access to all floors but maybe not the best if you have mobility problems.

"Good position in Branson"

5
24/05/2018

Well placed for downtown with a local free trolley bus into town. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast . The room was clean and the bathroom large. Branson is a nice town with small interesting shops and an old fashioned railway

"Exceptional Service "

5
23/05/2018

On our cross country trip, this has been by far the nicest Best Western we've stayed in. The Manager even walked around the breakfast area chatting with everyone in the morning asking how our stay had been. All Best Westerns should model them selves after this one.

"Close to Action"

5
21/05/2018

This hotel wad within walking distance to the Historical Downtown and the Landing. It was clean, the staff was helpful and it was an enjoyable experience. The breakfast items were good and plentiful. We would stay there again

"King Penthouse Suite is OVER PRICED! Heated Indoor Pool is COLD! Separate Buildings on STEEP Hill."

3
19/05/2018

We stayed in the Overpriced King Penthouse Suite @ $200 a night. While it had 2 rooms; living room with comfy couch that makes into a queen bed with additional club chair, desk and nice rolling office chair, and cabinet with plenty of storage for food, etc., also a nice sized wall mounted TV, and small refrigerator and microwave...then the bedroom had a club chair, a VERY comfy bed, night stands on both sides of the bed, a nice dresser with good sized TV, and a 2 person Jacuzzi bathtub... and a covered patio that can be entered via French doors from the bedroom and living room... the patio furniture was really dirty; not just lime green pollen build-up, but also plain old dirt! We had to change our clothes after sitting on the bar height chairs. The bathroom is set-up with the shower/tub and toilet in a tiny room, with the pretty sink/vanity outside the bathroom with little room around the sink to set out a flat iron/blow dryer, and a very dim light; making it extremely hard for a woman to do her make-up and fix her hair...ended up doing make-up in the car. Then there was the quite small "Indoor Heated Pool"...the pool is NOT heated! While we were there, several people came and attempted to swim, but left quickly as it was just too cold! My husband and son tried to "tough it out" for a while as we purposely chose this hotel due in part to the indoor pool. Additionally, you need to be aware of the fact that this is a multiple building set-up. The Penthouse suites are in a totally different building from the pool and breakfast area. You must walk outside with no walkway coverage (if it's raining, etc.), AND the buildings are on a seriously STEEP hill! The hotel will say that this is typical of Branson, but that is NOT true! There are plenty of other hotels that do not require paying customers to walk on extremely steep hills from building to building; including your parking area. I'm not exaggerating...seriously! Additionally, the Penthouse suites are on the 3rd floor. When we checked in we were told to use the elevator, etc. Yet when we got to the building, a housekeeper informed us that the elevator was not working! No signs were ever put on the elevator, but it never worked that weekend. While stuff happens and elevators have issues from time to time, it was disappointing that the staff didn't communicate with each other so that customers would be warned in advance...I am recovering from a bad back injury so this was a difficult situation; the only thing that helped was that you can park (on the side of the hill! LOL) so that you actually enter on the 2nd floor, so that we only had to carry luggage up 1 flight of stairs. The breakfast buffet is pretty good :) Biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles, donuts and bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit. With a nice area with many tables and chairs. So to recap: 1. The Penthouse at $200 a night is overpriced. Really only worth about $125 due to location and overall hotel ammenities. A regular room is only worth aroun $75 in my opinion. 2. VERY Steep hill to park and walk from building to building. 3. No walkway and no covering when walking from building to building...so if it's raining bring an umbrella and pray your shoes won't slip on the steep hill! 4. Indoor Pool is very small and is NOT heated! Management will say it is, but don't be fooled, or you WILL be dissapointed. 5. Free Breakfast is good. 6. Location to Branson Landing is good (note that you can't see the fountains display on the Landing from the hotel). 7. Hotel is on the Free Trolley route stoping at various places in the downtown area and Branson Landing. Note the Trolley stops running at 6pm each day. 8. The price of the Penthouse Suite is not a good deal! You can pay around the same rate and stay at the Hilton on the Branson Landing and NOT be on a Steep hill, and have a nicer, larger pool....or there are MANY other hotels throughout Branson that have better set-ups for the price.

"Great value"

Nice little get away from the city to enjoy a weekend of quiet and relaxation. Even though there is the typical tourist items to do in Branson, it was a relaxing get away with none of the tourism items.

30/04/2018

Best western used to be a fairly good chain but it is hit and miss now. This hotel has lots of use and you can tell. Not as clean as you would expect and a little behind on repairs. The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbling a little due to water vapor. Breakfast was average but well stocked and very clean. Pool was great and grounds well kept. Polite staff.

Mike W, General Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Many of our guests have commented favorably about the remodeling we've done recently. We are part of Historical Downtown Branson, so the property reflects the charm and nostalgia of Branson. However, we are proud of all new carpet and furnishings in all rooms and new exterior structures that make it more convenient for our guests. I'm sorry your experience was not exceptionable. We do feel that we are an outstanding value for the Downtown/Branson Landing Area.

"OK Place To Stay"

3
30/04/2018

The BW hotel was adequate only. The mattress was saggy in the middle and the outside noise was very bad. The whole parking lot was very much slanted downhill making it difficult to walk on. The hotel was OK but not my favorite.

"Good location"

4
12/04/2018

We enjoyed staying in the Landing area of Branson. We loved walking around the old town section. We shopped in old 5 and 10 stores and modern name brand stores. Great restaurants like the Farmhouse country cooking to Greek gyros are all within walking distance. Walking back to the hotel was up hill. We had to take it slow but you can take the free trolley. The rooms are newly redone and comfortable . It was a good price for the location.

"Mother daughter road trip"

10/04/2018

We did not book reservations when we came to Branson. We showed up unsure of where we wanted to stay. When we drove by this hotel we agreed it was a beautiful location. We were happy that the rates were reasonable for such a gorgeous hotel. The staff was super friendly. I told them it was my moms bday and they really made her day. They put flowers and cupcakes in our room while we were out the first day. My mom was so happy about that. ??. The complimentary breakfast was great. The coffee was great. Their was a trolley that picked us up right from this hotel to take us to the historical district.... best of all trolley is free!! The hotel is 5 minutes to the historical district which was really great. Super convenient. Rooms were clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. Rooms had microwave and fridge in the room. We loved that. This was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay here when we return.

My wife and I stayed here on a Friday night a few weeks ago. We were very pleased with how clean the rooms are. The rooms appeared to be recently renovated also. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were nice. The hotel had Direct TV which was a plus. About a 5 minute walk to Branson Landing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A very good hotel, would stay here again.

We are so glad that you and your wife had a good stay with us! Please come back and enjoy Branson with us again this year.

25/03/2018

Pretty average hotel that is very close to the landing and walking from many stores. The room served its purpose. Breakfast was good and attendants were friendly at breakfast. The downside was cleanliness. It seems every hotel in Branson is hiring maids, this place needs some help as well. Not the cleanest place and the pictures are from our beds being “made” the next day.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We've renovated both inside and out. Please come back and see our new look, it is refreshing!

"Clean"

24/03/2018

My room was very very clean. I work hotel business so I know how important that is. I am very impressed by the presentation of the rooms well maintained. This is a older property and on a hill which I know some guest may not like but it's such a great place to stay close to landing also. I absolutely loved it.

"Earned the good 4 C's"

13/03/2018

First, I needed a Convenient location, next I needed Comfort and a Clean room that would be pet friendly. My family had to travel to Missouri for my grandmother's funeral. Arriving on Friday, Kellie earned the 4th C for her Compassion. She went above and beyond and I couldn't be more grateful.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us and for your positive feedback. We wish we could have had you with us under more pleasant circumstances, but we're so glad we may have been a bright spot in your travels. Please do come back and see us again very soon.

"Tired and dated even though the rooms are somewhat updated."

2
03/03/2018

The décor is updated in the rooms but the hotel is old and tired. There was mold in my bathtub. I stayed here due to a conference I was attending and needed to be close to the conference center. I checked out a day early and went to another hotel. The rate was reasonable but I would not stay there again. No sour grapes, just not my kind of place. The did have a hot breakfast in the morning (I didn't eat but got coffee). Seems more of a family kind of place, not a business trip kind of place for me.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm sorry about the things that we can control and should improve upon. I know from a separate review that you left us, that you expressed some concerns about Best Western International's Corporate stance regarding the NRA. Here at the local level we would likely agree with you, but we can't always control policies at the Corporate Office. In fairness, we have installed new carpet and furniture this year and will continue to upgrade our hotel both inside and outside. I encourage folks to come and checkout our new look and experience the great service from our hard-working staff.

"Wonderful hotel!"

My husband and recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and it was a perfect location to the downtown area for us to explore! Our children loved spending our off time swimming in the indoor pool. We have stayed at a few other hotels in the area over the years, and so far this has been the best quality. I highly recommend this Best Western!

Mike W, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Mthornhill, We are so pleased that your family enjoyed a recent stay with us. We do feel we are an excellent value in the Downtown Area. Thank you for the wonderful feedback, we appreciate serving great folks like you!

First room put in was dirty, trash behind dresser. The jacuzzi, tv did not work. The heat was off in the room and it was cold outside. Was placed in another room but no real apology. Definetely not Best Western Standards by far.

"Good Location near Historic Downtown Branson"

This is our favorite place to stay when we go to Branson. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus. Our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were both comfortable. The breakfast room was also clean and spacious and had many choices for a hot or cold breakfast. We really like the location and that it is within walking distance of Downtown Branson and also Branson Landing, if you don't mind a little bit of a hike. Depending on what time of the year you visit, the rates are reasonable.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are thrilled that we are your favorite hotel in Branson. We've been busy upgrading our rooms with new carpet, furniture and lighting this Winter. Please come back to see our fresh look. It is a pleasure serving you JayLou!

The hotel was a convenient location off the freeway and near The Landing. We had a very nice spacious room. We did have to put on our jackets to go to the breakfast room or pool. The fitness center was not available as it is being remodeled; however, the hotel discounted us for that, which was very nice. Breakfast had a nice variety of food. They also offered complimentary laundry which was great for us as we had been traveling for a week already.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for posting so many positives about your stay with us. We are consistently updating rooms and improving our guest experience. Please come back and see us very soon!

This hotel was close to everything but not as nice as I hope. Breakfast was fine. Carpet in room was still damp from them cleaning from the people before having a pet there. We had a room that you had to walk to down a dark outside are....just weird set up.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are finishing up with new carpeting, furniture and lighting in all of our guest rooms. As a result, we've had to re-arrange our pet rooms and have had to adjust room assignments throughout the process. I'm so sorry that you were not happy with your room. From now on, the pet rooms will have a hardwood laminate floor and I believe this will be a tremendous advantage for our pet lovers. Please contact us and we hope you will try us again now that we've finished up with the new flooring.

"Disappointed in Best Western Plus rating"

Room 119 - I always felt confident selecting the BW PLUS brand but this shouldn't even be a BW. It is a cracker box of a room, the walls are paper thin and even with this room being on the back of the hotel we could hear road noise. The room was dirty and needs a deep cleaning. The refrigerator didn't work. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The property is 7 blocks from The Landing on a hill. Misleading that the use The Landing in their name. Shame on me for not doing my homework. The woman at the front desk, Sandy, was very friendly, informative and helpful. This is OFF season in Branson. I should have stayed at a less expensive hotel. I will never trust the BW Plus brand again.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Our hotel is 4 blocks from the Branson Landing and equally as close to the Branson Convention Center. We have an ideal location for the Downtown Branson Area and we are the only hotel downtown that includes free breakfast, free parking, free wi-fi and an indoor pool. We have a number of room types that vary in size. For a small upgrade we have a King Suite that is quite roomy and has a seating area with couch and chair. We are remodeling all of our rooms currently and will have a fresh look going into 2018 that we are excited about. We apologize that you were not happy with your stay. Please do try us again and if you contact me directly, we could fix you up with a larger room that I believe would meet your needs better.

"Don't stay in downtown Branson Best Western"

04/01/2018

Bed was uncomfortable, children were screaming and running down the hall after midnight. The room was next to the road and I'm not sure what time the trucks and traffic stopped, but it was hard to get some sleep in that hotel.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your stay at our hotel. During the Holidays we did have a full house and many families with excited children. Our location Downtown is great for access to the Branson Landing and Convention Center. We do have a solution for folks that may be light sleepers to request a room on the back side of our main building. During the next few months we will be renovating rooms and will have new furniture and beds. Please come back to see us very soon as we will have a fresh new look!

"Disappointing room and amenities"

In room hot tub either didn't work at all or didn't function properly. Indoor pool was cold and we only used a few minutes..Told staff. Just as cold second night so we skipped it. Outdoor hot tub is no longer there. Workout room was closed. Most of the areas with ice machines were closed. Exterior of building a bit dirty/rundown. Breakfast and location are very good.Had a two room suite. One room was freezing and the other room was burning up. Was given $15.00 off total bill for the issues. Not much consolation. Loved this hotel last time we stayed. Probably wouldn't book again after this stay.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so sorry that you were disappointed with your stay recently. We had some sub-zero temperatures over the New Year's Weekend and although our indoor pool water temperature is about 85 degrees, it may have felt cooler in the pool room. We checked the Jacuzzi suite you were in and it seemed to be operating properly. Please contact our front office if you have any issues with our amenities. It is important to us that we address any problems immediately. Our staff is on-site 24/7 to help in any way that we can. Please come back to see us.

"Wanted a nice New Year 2018"

31/12/2017

Well, first of all , I'm a Platinum Best Western Rewards Member, I was expecting something so much nicer. This is the Worst, but far Best Western I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy. It's supposed to be pet friendly, but there is no place to walk your dog safely without a police escort. December 30th there was some type of convict running loose and police all over the place asking my husband and myself if we'd seen anyone running. To top off the nasty room and police all over the place, we couldn't sleep because of the noise all night and morning. I'm never one to diss a place, but I'll NEVER stay in this hotel again. We weren't even treated like reward members. It was actually more like we were being punished.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We're so sorry that you were disappointed in your stay with us. We are toward the end of a major remodel on our exterior and in the guest rooms. We are downtown, so there is limited green-space, but when we've completed the project there will be a nice new, convenient parking lot with a grassy area to walk the dogs. We're also very excited about the upgrades to our rooms and enclosed stairwells and lighting that should make our guests more comfortable both inside and out. Please come back again and check out our new look!

Nice people and location. The room I stayed in was in need of some real cleaning. The room needs some maintenance as well, the toilet ran off and on, the sink stopper was stuck. The breakfast was good. I think this is more of cleaning staff issue and could change with some supervision.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for acknowledging our great staff. We apologize for the issues you pointed out. We've had a stable cleaning crew and strong supervision this year, so I'm surprised to get your feedback. However, we appreciate knowing where we may need to gain more consistency. Please do come back and see us again!

"NICE STAY"

29/12/2017

Our son lives in Branson, MO so need to stay in a hotel we visit him. This was our first stay at Best Western, Landings. We were well pleased with our room the pool area is a nice size. We liked the location because it was close to shopping and the interstates. Our over all experience was good. The price was a fair price.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us. We're so pleased you had a nice stay. Please come back again to see us in 2018!

"Pet friendly, and nice location near historic downtown Branson"

28/12/2017

Spent a weekend here with our springer spaniel. Check in was friendly, the room was comfortable, and it was a great location. Easy walk to the downtown area where you can experience some old Branson favorites like the 5 & 10 store, as well as the nice mall shops down by the river. Breakfast was typical, but appreciated how the staff kept an eye on things. Nice indoor pool, but we didn't have time to use it. If you like a more quaint location, absent the traffic on the main drag up by the theaters, etc. this is a great place! Would definitely recommend, especially being pet friendly.

"Landing in Branson"

Pet friendly and close to the goings on at Branson Landing four and a half blocks away (downhill). Breakfast was good and there are numerous restaurants close by for evening meals. I'd stay here again.

We had a nice stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The room was clean, the breakfast area was clean and there were many items to choose from, and the hotel staff who we interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us and for leaving a nice review on tripadvisor. We are so glad your family had a nice stay and that you would recommend us to friends. We are also in the midst of guestroom upgrades so we look forward to having you come back and see us very soon!

"Nothing Worked"

1
24/12/2017

We reserved 2 rooms, neither of the rooms had lamps that worked, the TV didn't work, just said poor signal, there were no toiletries in the room, soap, shampoo etc. There were no towels in the pool area and when requested it took 30 minutes for them to bring towels.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Lindsay, I'm so sorry we did not meet your expectations during your stay with us. We are remodeling rooms during the Winter slow-down, but our basic amenities should be working. We hope that folks would contact us if anything is not right. We do care very much that you and your family have an exceptional stay at our hotel. Please contact me and we would love to have you come back very soon, as our upgrades are nearly complete. We would love to see you again and have you experience our normal outstanding customer service.

This hotel was clean, the people were friendly and had very good knowledge of the area, short cuts to get around. The place has a shuttle stop at the front door to enjoy the town with out the problems of parking.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and for a great review. We have been a great value for the Convention Area. We are 4 blocks from the Branson Landing and Branson Convention Center. We provide free Breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking and indoor pool all year-round! Please come back to see us soon.

"Great Location and Friendly Staff"

5
13/12/2017

Our room is a little dated but the beds are comfortable and the room has everything that we need. The breakfast is just great - two kinds of scrambled eggs and sausage along with waffles and everything else these places offer. The wifi is quick and reliable. The pool is indoor and nice, but we didn't try it. The front desk is staffed with knowledgeable, friendly people who helped us spend our one day in Branson well. The Trolley downtown picks up at the hotel until 6:00 and that was really great!

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us. We are so glad you had a great visit to Branson and that we could be a part of the success. We are updating all of our rooms and we would love to have you visit us and see the new look in 2018!

"Great if you want a place to Bronson's Landing that's walkable"

13/12/2017

Stayed at Best Western's traveling from LA to Michigan. This was in a good spot where you can walk to new and old shops in old town and Bronson's Landing. Room was very small. Good breakfast. Only real complaint was the room had an older place smell. Like the carpet needs to be replaced. Oh and the WiFi was spotty.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and thank you for the feedback. We appreciate all of the positives you've mentioned about our location. We feel that we are a great value for the Downtown/Convention Center Area in Branson. With our room rate we include free breakfast, wifi, parking and a nice in-door pool. I'm pleased to say that our entire property is getting renovated both inside and out. Please come back to see the new, fresh look in 2018.

"Nice but not clean "

04/12/2017

My father and I stayed here for a father and son trip. Over all this hotel was nice, it has been updated recently and it's very close to the landing(without paying the Hilton price) however it wasn't clean. I watch Hotels impossible so I imagine what the host looks for and that is dirt and it wasn't hard to find. We had hair on our bathroom door, hair on our shower walls, what looked like to be urine stain on our toilet, dust on the lamp shades and dust along all the crevices where the carpet meets the wall just not clean it's a shame to bec it really was a nice room just dirty. That being said the hotel has some nice qualitys, the breakfast was very good and the staff was nice, when I first stayed there i had these god awful pillows they were so lumpy not the kind of pillows you expect at a hotel, however I called the desk and asked if they can be replaced and I was told that was no problem, came back that evening with new pillows. Would I stay here again? Yes because it's so close to the landing, but management needs to have a serious talk with their cleaning team, a hotel room should feel as if no one has stayed in it before, I definitely did not get that vibe.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Garrett S., Thank you very much for the feedback you gave us regarding your recent stay at our hotel. Thank you for mentioning the good value that we bring to the Downtown Branson Market. We are addressing the cleanliness issues you encountered and apologize for any inconvenience. As part of a recent full renovation of the exterior, there have been cases of dust build-up from the work outside. We need to stay on top of this and so we do appreciate your feedback. Please come back to see us and we will provide the product and service that has made us an award winning Best Western Plus Hotel.

I have no complaints about this hotel. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was typical of other hotels. Great location out of the turmoil of the strip in Branson. It was a great value for the price.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so pleased that you stayed with us and that you felt we were a great value. Compared to other Downtown Branson Hotels we do provide many amenities at no charge. This includes free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking and a 24 hr indoor pool. Plus, we are only 4 blocks from the Convention Center. Thank you so much for staying with us and for the great feedback.

we stayed at Best Western whenever there was one at a location we stopped. Always knew that the rooms would be clean and a hot breakfast was served each morning before we started traveling again. Many times you could get coupons from hotel books in the area which even made the stay a even better deal. We have found we like staying at Best Western hotels and do so as often as it works out that we can do so.

We chose this Motel for it's location. It turned out to be a very good decision on our part. We were offered a room upgrade as we are Platinum members. We were given a suite with a GREAT bed. Very quiet. Very well appointed room. Very convenient for our short getaway. Wonderful breakfast. Safe parking lot. Everything was ship-shape. Will stay here again.

This was a very convenient hotel in a quiet neighborhood, but close to many shops and restaurants. Branson Landing is a few short blocks away, but you have to climb the hill to get back to the hotel. Trolley stop was right outside the door. Unfortunately we were there for Thanksgiving and there was no service. We would definitely stay here again!!

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and for the nice review. I'm sorry the Trolley was not running on the Holiday. this free shuttle is a great way to get from our hotel to the Landing and Convention Center. Please come back and visit us very soon.

20/11/2017

THE quality of the room was really good. it is the nicest out of the Best Westerns in the area. The breakfast had a lot of options and was good. The staff was friendly. Location was great. Close to historic downtown (walking distance or a trolley ride is available) and not to far from the main highway 76. I prefer to not stay on the main strip.

15/11/2017

was not told this was not handicapped accessible. The rooms are down a hill and you have to walk several hundred feet to bottom of hill to get to your room. Its almost impossible to get back up the hill to go to resteraunt or any guest services so we stayed in room and did not eat breakfast cause unable to walk up the hill. Will never ever stay here again and the prices are way to high for a room like this. I am a veteran so will let all my friends know not to stay hereif disabled or handicapped

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so sorry that the geography of our hotel was so unpleasant for you. As is the case in much of the Branson Area, we sit on a hill and so there are nice views of the Downtown, but there is also a walk up to the Lobby. If we get a request in advance, we can place our guests near the lobby area and we also have bought an eight passenger golf cart to help transport anyone who wants a ride to breakfast in the morning. I truly apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and wish that you could have called our front desk to take advantage of these services.

Location was excellent, centrally located to the attractions we went to see, many were within walking distance. For being located on a major roadway, the noise level was surprisingly minimal. Breakfast area was neat and well stocked, during their hours of operation. The only problem I had, was the fitness center was out of order during our visit. A small inconvenience considering all the walking we got in.

"Not bad for the price"

06/11/2017

This is a very old hotel so did not expect perfection. It did appear to have been updated and was very clean with all the amenities needed for overnight stay. The staff was friendly and attentive to refreshing the room. If any complaint at all, it was the frequent loss of internet connection and the strong odor when first arriving in the room. I'm guessing it has to do more with the hotel age than anything. Overall, I would be okay to stay there again.

"Girls night"

06/11/2017

I thought the hotel itself was somewhat average. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The hotel sits on the top of a hill so a little difficult walking rooms and breakfast. The beds were wonderful! We all slept great! Beds and pillows very comfy! I would have given the review a good but that was not an option.

"Enjoyable Stay"

04/11/2017

We enjoyed the 24 hour indoor pool after traveling all day. The complimentary hot breakfast was a great way to start the next morning. We were glad the hotel honored our request for a room close to the pool and breakfast area. The parking area was able to accommodate our truck with a small trailer attached. There was a coffeemaker, microwave, and refrigerator in the room. We will stay here again on future trips.

Weather muted brilliance of fall colors, enjoyed the area and downtown Branson. Nice plus that the free shuttle stop was at the hotel front door! Hotel was a good value for the price. Location was convenient to town and main attractions, would not recommend for handicapped due to steep hillside.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the eloquent review of our property. We are so pleased that you were able to enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks while staying with us. The hotel it's self was great. The location was perfect. Staff was very friendly, the only complaint we have is the inside pool was not heated and should have been. We picked this hotel because it had an indoor pool, but couldn't use it because it was too cold.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so pleased that your stay with us was great, overall. We are getting to that time of year where the daytime ambient temperatures are much greater than nighttime. Thank you for your feedback as we may need to adjust the pool temperature at night.

After this experience I'm not sure if I will ever use Third Party bookings over calling the hotel directly. I have never had problems like this before when using third party. Not happy with this experience.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Carl A., I wasn't sure, from your feedback, exactly what happened to make you unhappy with your stay. In general, we do suggest that if someone has specific needs, that they contact us directly. We try very hard to make each guest feel at home and want to provide exceptional service. Please do contact us directly the next time you come to Branson. We would love to provide a great experience for you.

"Very bad experience."

20/10/2017

I asked upon arriving if construction would be an issue as I did not want to stay if it was going to be noisy etc, They put us at the very back of the motel and we were showered with Styrofoam as the workers were cutting foam insulation above us. I went to the desk to tell them I was not happy. I was told they make a refund, and " I could hit the road. "Rude." Had everything moved in so that was not an option. Room was not satisfactory as bathroom door would not close, carpet was coming loose by shower. Sheet was on inside out, and the remote would not operate the television. I called the front desk about the TV and was told I would have to wait as she was the only one there. High price for low quality.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Dick K., We do apologize for the inconvenience of the construction that is coming to a conclusion. We are investing a great deal into updating the look and comfort of our hotel. It sounds as though we did compensate you for your inconvenience but we are truly sorry that you had a bad experience. As I mentioned, we are just days away from the outside work being completed. I hope you will consider coming back to see us soon.

Overall, the hotel was clean, but lacked the features that I was looking for in my hotel. Some pieces of trim were falling apart and the shower head was extremely low. Most of the light switches didn't work either. I was in the penthouse suite and was not impressed for the amount of money that I spent. Tub worked good though.

Rooms are a bit smaller than many other Best Western motels but was very nice, all the same. Could be somewhat difficult for seniors to access their rooms and carry luggage. Easy to get in and out of, although located at a busy spot near The Landing.

The hotel is being remodel on the outside our room was done so the room was fine. It is on a very steep incline so going to and from parts of the hotel was difficult. The staff was very nice and helpful. Their is a free shuttle service from the hotel with 13 stops around downtown

We can locate guests close to the lobby and breakfast area if they have any issues with our scenic hill. Just let us know in advance. We look forward to seeing you again!

Hotel location near The Landing, spent a lot of time here and loved White River Rest.(alligator tails!) and Famous Dave's(all good-loved the brisket salad). Loved the dedication to ALL our military everywhere-SUPER! Loved Silver D. city-beautiful fall décor and Friendly-birthday treasure hunt-very nice touch-ask at guest relations. Must ride The Runaway mtn. coaster-WOW-a blast!

Excellent vacation destination for Branson Missouri. We were able to catch the shuttle right on the side of the property. Nice place to spend a vacation or business destination. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was excellent.

Mike W, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us and for pointing to all of the positives you experienced during your visit with us. I'm curious, with all of the good things you mentioned why we didn't rate a "10". Seriously, we appreciate your feedback and strive to deliver outstanding service to all of our guests.

We were very comfortable at this hotel. The traffic on that end of Hwy 76 is much better and to get around town we took some of the other routes. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was great and in a great setting. Would recommend this hotel for a great stay.

Mike W, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
So glad you had a good stay with us. Our location is perfect for being near the Landing, Convention Center and Historic Downtown, while guests are able to get to all the shows with less traffic problems. We're so glad you will recommend us to your friends and we hope you will come back to see us soon.

The room was older, but updated. The beds are very comfortable with bedding that can be washed! Not that old bedspread that is the first thing that I rip off of the bed in hotels. The location was excellent! just .5 miles from Branson Landing, a nice walk. The complimentary breakfast is just ok. Very typical. This is the 4th time that I have stayed at this particular Best Western, and will stay again.

Mike W, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for coming back to see us. We appreciate our repeat guests so much and hope you will enjoy the improvements that we are making at the hotel. One of the things we are focused on is bringing more variety to our breakfast offering. We are currently trying a variety of meat and egg variations that we'd love your feedback on. Please come back and visit us soon!

I usually have luck staying at this motel. Great location, close to downtown. This time when I got up to take a shower, I had no warm water, let alone hot. When I checked out, the staff really didn't seem to care.

Mike W, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so sorry about the hot water. We're upgrading the hotel this year in several areas, and we are fortunately near the end. Please come back to see us very soon and I believe you will receive the great service you've always been accustomed to from our staff.

"We'd Stay Here Again"

02/10/2017

The location is so steep that all 3 floors are at ground level (!), but it is the nicest and most affordable place to stay downtown (to my limited knowledge). When our TV would not turn on, the desk had it fixed for us within minutes. We were comfortable overnight, and well-fed at breakfast.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your wonderful feedback regarding a recent stay with us. We do hear from guests that we are a tremendous value for Downtown. (Your knowledge on this is accurate, by the way!) Thank you for staying with us and please return very soon. It was a pleasure serving you.

"Staff try to make this hotel work"

02/10/2017

We spent one night in room B301 located on Main Street. This is a separate building under construction. The hotel itself is on the main street at the top of a steep hill. The price and location were the reasons we chose this hotel but after the experience it would have been worth the much higher price to have stayed at the Hilton on the river. The room was dark in that it faced a roofline which blocked a high percentage of outside sunlight from entering the room. On the plus side the room was new and clean, had 2 full size beds, free wifi in the room, a small fridge and microwave, small flat screen TV, closet, iron, 3 drawer chest and closet. There was a standing sink and all the bath fixtures had been updated. The carpet and walls were new and there was a coffee maker. Breakfast was disappointing. The price was right and parking was more than adequate. The Inn is within walking distance of a few fast food restaurants and easy access to the main highway 65 and you can also walk into town without any trouble. Traffic can be awful on Main Street and it was preferable to hike down the hill and back up rather than get stuck in a long line of cars just to go 4 or 5 blocks. The staff are very helpful and try to make things work out, including quickly fixing our tv remote.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so sorry that your room position was not ideal during your recent visit. Our property is unique in the Downtown Branson Area. Depending on your priorities we can usually locate our guests in an ideal spot to give them a view of the Downtown or a position on the quieter backside of the buildings. Most of our guests do feel we are a good value compared to the other Downtown Hotel you mentioned. Whereas they charge for all of their amenities, in contrast, we provide complimentary breakfast, wi-fi, parking and the daily shuttle trolley downtown. We are finishing the exterior remodel of our buildings and will refresh the guestrooms with new interior design very soon. I highly recommend that you check us out again soon. If you contact us in advance, I believe we could find a room that would suit your needs. Thank you for staying with us and for your valuable feedback

We stayed 2 nights. Upon arriving I discovered my sheets had obviously not been changed. Night clerk and I changed them. The next day the room was not vacuumed and the sink remained dirty with toothpaste, etc.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Guest, I apologize that you found your room to be less clean than our normal standards. We have had a relatively stable housekeeping crew and this sort of results has been rare. We have addressed the situation and feel we have everyone on board to give all guests the great service they deserve. Thank you for your feedback and we hope you will give us another try.

Trip was great, I mentioned to staff that we were surprising my best friend with this trip for her birthday. I never expected they'd have a special gift just for her in the room when we checked in. The service was fantastic, the beds were super comfy, and within easy walking distance of Branson Landing

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for celebrating with us! And thank you for taking the time to post about the gift we left in the room for the birthday girl. We enjoy those special opportunities to assist friends and families with making lasting memories. Please come back to see us when you are in Branson!

This hotel is located near the Branson Historic Area. I think that if we return there, we would probably stay at the BW nearer the theaters. Also, it sits in a hilly area. So walking to the shops and restaurants can be pretty strenuous.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us. Our guests comment that we are a great value in the Downtown/Branson Landing Area. We are 4 blocks from the Landing and the Branson Convention Center and provide complimentary Breakfast, wi-fi and parking. I hope you will consider coming back to see us.

The rooms were clean and well maintained I have stayed at other hotels that were pet friendly and been very unhappy with the condition of the rooms but not at the Best Western Plus Landing view. The breakfast was hot and had many choices including having fresh fruit and waffles! Yum.

Friendly checkin. King suites are big with sofa and desk and chair. The rooms was cool and clean. Had nice beds and pillows. Cookies and drinks were available during check in time. Not far from Branson landing but is all uphill on the way back. Suggest driving to all the attractions. Recommended staying here. Good breakfast.

If you stay at BW Plus Landing View Inn and Suites be sure your room is NOT facing the street. The street noise is terrible way into early morning! Location makes for any easy (hilly) walk to many Branson attractions!

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm very sorry that your room location did not meet your expectations. We do have rooms on the back of our building that may not have as good a view, but are quieter. We have room types and location that will likely please all of our guests. Please come try us again very soon.

"So many positive things and Employees."

08/09/2017

We have never stayed at any Hotel where we had so many positive interaction with so many employees: House Keeping- Supervisor Jessica O., Rebecca B., Esther. Maintenance worker C. Bowman. Desk personnel, especially Mary Kate. All were pleasant and had the attitude that they liked their jobs. Happy employees are definitely better for customers to deal with. Our room was great, the bed was comfortable and we had plenty of room and hot water. Branson has a free Trolley that has 13 stops and 1 of the stops is at the Best Western Plus, extremely convenient, but it stops at 6:00 pm. The free Breakfast was very good, just no bacon.Clean Inn, highly recommend it. Still some construction going on, some was right next to our room, but it didn't bother us and during the day we were out seeing the sights. We had a Happy and Relaxing 5 days and nights.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Ronald J, Thank you so much for the glowing review. It is such a pleasure to host wonderful folks like you. We enjoy nothing more than helping families make lasting memories. Please come back to see us soon!

My wife and I had a very pleasing visit. The entire staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is renovating but that never became a problem. Once the renovations are done, this will be a wonderful hotel. I would recommend even though the construction is being done. Great service.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review

Great location, helpful staff. The shower was the highlight of this stay!!! The absolute BEST hotel shower I have ever had!!! I will stay here anytime we go to Branson!!! They are doing some construction but it honestly wasn't a bother. I actually left some clothes there and they shipped them to me :)

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for showering us with praise. We are upgrading our property but still providing the same great amenities and service that we always have. Thank you for staying with us.

"Good but could be improved"

3
05/09/2017

The staff were excellent and the free breakfast was good. The property was in acceptable but built on a hill with steep access to everything. The toilet kept shutting off and on all night requiring us to close the door. The sheets in the bed had a strong odor of bleach to which my wife has a high sensitivity.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and for giving us some valuable feedback. Our location near Downtown is ideal for access to the Branson Landing and the Convention Center. We are on a hill, but this provides a nice view of Downtown. We are staffed 24X7 and are eager to assist our guests with anything that will improve their stay. Thank you for staying with us and I hope you will return very soon.

"Close to shopping and meeting place"

Although I had to carry my own luggage and no carts are available due to possibly losing them on the hill, an employee saw me unloading and approached to help. I appreciated his time and help. The room was clean and quiet at night, beds were comfortable.

"Playing Baseball Visit"

3
31/08/2017

We came to Branson to play high school baseball against three MO teams. Nice hotel and coveniently located. Twin beds are small for two adults. Pricey rates considering it was a slow weekend for tourism in August between school starting and Labor Day weekend and also since they are in the middle of a remodel.

"A little family vacation"

24/08/2017

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good. The Breakfast people were awesome they kept refilling everything before it was empty. Hotel staff was nice. We had a couple of lights out in our room and we told our housekeeper and fixed it for us. We loved that the pool was open 24 hours. Thank you for that. We appreciate everyone that works there and helped us. We enjoyed the trolley as well.

"A little R&R"

22/08/2017

Always love Branson but did not like this trip as much as I do the landing area. Decided to stay close to the landing so I could walk to and from where I wanted to go. Chose this Best Western because it was down in the landing area and look like you was a good Motel according to the reviews. I was not disappointed with the motel and or the staff that work there. Motel is going through some Renovations but that's to be expected. Motels been there for quite a few years and time for an update. Nothing is ever perfect and I don't ever expect for it to be. Overall had a great time great experience with this Motel.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
So glad you could come to stay with us and that you had a relaxing trip to Branson. Folks love our location and appreciate the free daytime shuttle to the Branson Landing. Please come back to see us soon. We are improving the property and would love to show you the our new look.

"Wish we had been informed of the construction!"

4
17/08/2017

OK so this is a hotel, I get it. Sleep, freshen up, and go again. My wife stays here all the time and loves the location, nearby to downtown and The Landing. We were not, however, informed of the ongoing construction until we arrived. When we drove around to our room location, it looked like it had rained Styrofoam (looks like they are going to stucco the building). It was a mess, and in spite of the staff's best effort, almost impossible to keep cleaned up. On our first morning, we did get a bit of construction noise, but not an unbearable amount. The staff is friendly, the room was clean and the A/C made it frosty. So all in all it was an OK visit.

"Just fell short"

3
14/08/2017

The positives always first. The buildings and our room was clean. Nothing had that yuck factor. The night staff was very friendly. Now, the not so positive. Parking was limited at best. My first night there we had a hike to our room. The room even with all the lights on are dim. It's the first time I've ever had a double room with double beds. and it probably has everything to do with the room being too small to fit 2 queens. Space was very limited. There was NO closet so I had suitcases stacked in the bathroom. The indoor pool, while 24 hours is a big plus, but it was cold. Teeth chattering cold. Apparently it's not heated. My view from my room was a tree.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Jen G., Thanks for staying with us and for your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate that you mentioned several positives and enjoyed the efforts of our hard-working staff. I might take a moment to point out that all of our rooms have a nice closet with mirrored doors that slide open. Also, we do have a heated, salt water pool. During the Summer months we don't heat the water too high because it can be uncomfortable with temperatures outside in the 90's. Overall, we try very hard to please our guests with any request they might have. When you come back to see us please let us know if one of our spacious King Suites would afford you more space. Also, we can locate your room so that you are able to have a better view of the Downtown/Landing Area. We have many options and can usually accommodate our guest's desires. Please do come back and see us soon.

"Very Comfy Beds, Great Cleaning Staff, Otherwise...YUCK!"

2
13/08/2017

The Good: Beds are amazingly comfortable and I slept like a baby. The cleaning staff is also very friendly and does their job well. The Bad: Whole hotel is under renovations and they neglected to tell us this even though I booked months in advance. Rooms are in different buildings up and down steep hills, so travelling is very tiring and terrible for disabled residents. We selected this hotel because it was pet friendly, but it is DEFINITELY NOT. They allow them in the rooms yes, but that's it. There is NOWHERE for them to use the restroom, just tiny medians in the parking lots, with no green space. They gave us keycards that didn't work, so we had to walk all the way back to the front office for new ones. The TV in my mother's room didn't even work! You'd turn it on and it would just shut itself off. The stoppers in the sinks and tubs didn't work properly. One just came unhooked as soon as I touched it, and the other didn't stop the tub from constantly draining when you tried to bathe. The construction made everything look messy, with some nails and wood bits all over some of the stairs making them dangerous. There was also part of a railing that was weak and broken with no warning signs. I wouldn't stay if you have a pet, and I would wait until all of the renovations are done before you book here.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for acknowledging our great staff. The renovation has been a challenge but, be we are very close to it's conclusion. In fact there are large areas of the property now that are not directly impacted by the work. When completed, we will have some convenient green area for pets and many other pleasing improvements. We hope you will come back to see us very soon.

"Super friendly staff"

4
12/08/2017

The staff was amazing and our room was very clean and comfortable, although the bathroom area was a little small. The location was perfect. We didn't have to deal with a lot of the super congested traffic, and we were within walking distance of the landing. The pool area wasn't the most ideal (3ft deep everywhere and slightly odd smell), but it didn't seem to bother my kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Brandi W120, Thank you so much for staying with us and for the nice review. We are so glad that your family had a great stay with us. I might mention that the reason we made the pool 3ft. deep is so that we could safely keep it open all night. Many of our guests really appreciate that they can still take a dip after a Branson Show or a late night supper. Please do come back and see us very soon.

"No hot water"

1
06/08/2017

Two days without hot water is unacceptable. Someone should have let me know how long there would be no hot water. I would have gone to another hotel. I received an apology from a desk clerk twice but that was it.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are so sorry about the hot water situation. We quickly installed new equipment and our impression was that it was only down for a few hours in the middle of the day. But we do apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused you.

"Hotel room"

4
05/08/2017

Hotel was clean, the 2nd building was a little noisy it was near the street of an apartment building. But the front building was quieter. They let me change rooms with no problems. The breakfast was good. Didn't get a chance to use the pool.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Vida C., Thank you for staying with us and for posting on tripadvisor. Our staff is committed to a high level of customer service. If an issue is brought to our attention we will do what we can to address it right away. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to move you to the front building while we finish up our remodel in the back. Sorry you couldn't check out our indoor pool. We are unique in that the pool stays open 24 hours. Please come back to see us very soon.

"Branson Get-A-Way"

5
04/08/2017

The hotel is in great proximity to the Landing area considered the newest attraction with shops and restaurant's. Also great access to all shows and recreation events. The room was comfortable and clean. You can see the pr9ide in the facility as it is going through construction and updating of the landscape around the hotel. Should note it is built on side of hill and parking lot is on side of hill, but it can be managed nicely.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and for the positive review of our property on tripadvisor. We appreciate serving fine folks like you and hope you will come to see us again, very soon!

"Exterior Renovation"

3
02/08/2017

The hotel exterior is undergoing renovation. There is construction debris scattered thru out the hotel complex. The construction noise early in the morning was annoying. We would not have booked this hotel had we known that there was construction activity.

"Location, Location, Location "

4
31/07/2017

Just about a 5 minute walk to the Branson Landing and Starbucks. Small construction going on, but did not affect the experience. Walk downtown, there are some fun shops. Don't miss Dicks 5 & 10. It's a fantastic shopping experience. Room was roomy. TV quality was good. Bathroom was good. Sink/counter was a little small. Blackout curtains were good. Breakfast was decent, but don't be late. Beds were average. 24 hour pool. Housekeeping was about average, but in destination cities it's not always the best anyway.

Jeff K, Manager at Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us bobo1880. Many folks find our location to be perfect as we are a great value for the Downtown/Branson Landing Area. Also, if you are coming to Branson for a Convention, we have a shuttle that runs during the daytime hours from our hotel to the Convention Center. Please come back to see us very soon.

"BED SMELT OF BODY ODOR"

1
31/07/2017

The pillow sham on my bed smelt of body odor so bad that it gagged me when I put my head on it. The front desk explained that they do no change the pillow shams each time. That is just not acceptable at $150 a night.

"Great location,trouble with amenities"

Good location and comfortable bed. Had trouble with tv, slow internet. Breakfast was decent. Would have liked more variety. Had eggs, waffles, yogurt. Coffee was delicious. "Just be warned under full construction"

2
26/07/2017

Location is good to the landing, the breakfast buffet is good. However this is an old style motel with very small rooms and full sized beds not queen. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just is way behind on today's standards of travel. I would avoid until the renovation is complete. The pool is ok. And we will never stay there again. Just doesn't accommodate a family of 4 in a double room.

Good location. 2 block walk to Branson Landing or free trolley service. 2 blocks from hwy 65, avoid the sunday traffic jam to get out of town. Close to the other colored routes around town to also avoid the traffic on 76/the strip.

"Excellent service!"

The hotel is very nice. The staff is what makes it even better! The beds are very comfortable, and I love the decor! Excellent location, too! Just a little bit away from Branson Landing. I recommend staying at this location.

"The Worst Best Western Ever"

2
20/07/2017

When we checked in the staff was great, friendly and helpful, the lobby was fine and it looked okay. When we got to our room it was a different story. The carpet was Dirty, the A/C was freezing us out and the decor was from the 80's or earlier. They did plug in a Glade Air Freshener for us, but other than that, it was the pits. The tub drained very slowly and the sink didn't hold water. Neither problem was fixed for us. We didn't have a car but were told that there was a Trolley that would take us everywhere and it was free. The Trolley traveled about One Mile from the hotel and made a loop every 30 minutes. We were miles away from the Branson strip and needed to get a Cab every time we left the hotel It cost us $24. for each round trip so we ended up spending $48./Day on taxi cabs. Even if you have a car, pick a hotel on the Branson Strip and save yourself a lot of headaches.

"Nice place, but no elevator"

18/07/2017

Nice place but no elevator and they didn't tell me that when the reservation was made. Parking no too desirable but nice that it has a 24 hour pool. Nice staff. Good breakfast area. Close to re landing so it is a great location.

Great staff, close to everything, great price! Enjoyed our stay and will return to that same hotel in the future. Staff is caring and its walking distance to so many things it makes it easy to select this place.

"Wait until later this year to stay here."

17/07/2017

They are currently doing construction on the hotel. the construction was right outside our room. We got woken up every day at 7 am to the sound of equipment and hammers. When we complained the employee just said sorry and that they couldn't do anything about it. They could have at least told me that construction was going to be going on.

"An average hotel but great location"

3
12/07/2017

Rooms were OK with rooms facing the outside. Very steep grade drop off in the parking lot. Breakfast was average with waffles but no meat. Great location within walking distance to downtown Branson and the Landing.

"average, some issues"

10/07/2017

The room in this hotel was very musty smelling. The carpet was dirty and needs to be clean. The beds squeaked when you moved around in them and you could hear people talking in the Next Room very clearly. Could not get the TV to produce any channels even though the lady press the reset button behind the TV. The breakfast buffet was great though. I would not stay here again unless they replaced the beds and the carpet.

"Fabulous location"

09/07/2017

Overall this property was fabulous. If you stay on the front of the hotel the parking is not that easy. They should put in angled parking to make it easier. The street traffic can be a tad noisy. If I stay here again I would request a room in a different building. Super fabulous location when it comes to walking down to Branson Landing.

"Satisfied once again"

04/07/2017

I keep coming back. We've tried other hotels in Branson and we keep coming back here. The location is wonderful. Walking distance to the Landing. Located close to the strip. Wonderful staff and the pool is always open.

"Good location"

04/07/2017

Me and my kids enjoyed the stay for one at this motel. However the room was having an old carpet and the entire building looks old. Breakfast was good. The location of this hotel is great just a short 2 min drive to Branson Landing downtown and this is the best advantage.

"View of the Landing--not"

3
04/07/2017

The name of the motel (View of the Landing) was highly misleading there was no view and with that expected location caused me to presume nicer accommodations. However, got a very good night's sleep. Very steep uphill walk to the lobby and breakfast room. Turns out they are on the third floor at ground level.

We like the location of this hotel..close to The Landing. Staff is friend my and courteous. Hot breakfast has variety and supplies maintained. Hotel is in renovation mode...currently working on exterior. They offer a discount for the inconvenience.

"What does "Plus" mean?"

2
28/06/2017

What does Best Western Plus stand for? This property is under construction, inadequate parking, and even though listed as pet friendly, has no grassy area to walk an animal. We had a broken toilet and no one was available to fix it until the next day. Motel was sold out and no other room to move to. Steep slope of property is not appropriate for people with disabilities. If this is Best Western Plus it is difficult to understand what the designation stands for.

"The absolute best"

Hosted a group of almost 100 people (Vietnam Combat Tracker Team Vets & families) Had wonderful meeting room the entire time and a huge banquet room large enough to accommodate the entire group. Close to all attractions and trolley to Old Downtown Branson. Had folks from Long Island NY to Seattle WA...everyone at the hotel took care of anything we needed! Great staff!!

"Great Hotel!"

"Branson"

22/06/2017

This was our first trip to Branson. We normally like staying at Best Westerns, so that is where we made our reservation. Because of the terrain in Branson, the hotel was arranged a little different than normal. Our room looked out onto a wall, and it felt like we were in a basement. Other than that, the room was very comfortable.

20/06/2017

Major construction going on. Parking limited due to construction vehicles and materials. Room was not clean when we had returned by late afternoon (4:00) was told by desk they did not have enough help. We had to get towels and empty trash. Extremely small room, probably 12x15. Reserved a queen room and got a full bed. Have tried to reach BW by phone for several days and have not been able to get thru although calling at different times of the day.

"Our Stay in Branson"

2
19/06/2017

Our accommodations at this motel were very poor and certainly not what we expected from a Best Western. It is a very old motel and in need of major remodeling and updating in every area. We would not recommend this motel to anyone going to Branson.

"Very nice"

5
14/06/2017

The hotel was a great value. Our stay was very pleasant even with the ongoing construction. I appreciated the bottled water sinc I was riding a motorcycle. The room was clean and in working order. Missed the fact that there was no hot tub

"Better than expectation"

4
13/06/2017

Clean, comfortable bed, decent room with minor renovation, microwave + mini-fridge in room, free wifi, and free breakfast for less than $100? It's much better than my expectation FOR SURE!! Well done Best Western!

"Antiquing"

13/06/2017

Hotel is very clean. It was under remodeling when we stayed there. It is on a hill so you may experience some uphill parking. You are within walking distance of the Landing and shopping. Would stay again.

This motel had a very good government rate. The outside grounds were somewhat littered, and room service each day was late in day. The room was fine overall, but lighting was bad. Opening the drapes helped.

"Close to Branson Landing"

3
11/06/2017

Cheap and clean rooms. However, they are doing major remodeling and it was very noisy early one morning. There is a free trolley stop right outside. Good hot breakfast buffet and they met the Priceline price. Only a few blocks from downtown.

"Pleasantly Impressed"

06/06/2017

I have never stayed at a Best Western before that I can remember. My husband and I have a small 3 lb dog, so we have to find a hotel that is pet friendly. Most motel "pet" rooms are quite shabby, unless you spend big bucks at an upscale hotel. We had the BEST experience ever at this motel. The "pet" room was neat, clean & upgraded. I was very pleased with the price of the room, the pet policy, the room itself, the breakfast, the pool hours, everything. I can't say enough good things about this motel. They are in the process of renovating the outside, so it's going to be even nicer in the future. The only negative thing is the parking lot, which is on quite a steep hill, but it is the Ozarks :-)

"Great Branson location"

5
04/06/2017

This hotel with inside pool is located close to downtown Branson. The convient location makes this an ideal Branson location and offers free morning breakfast. The staff attends to your every need. Free Branson transportation at hotel is available.

03/06/2017

We highly recommend Best Western Plus Landing View Inn. Our stay there was amazing. From the room....to the breakfast.....the location.....the roof top patio. The property was under renovation but it was a great time for us. Friendly staff. The manager was awesome. We received a complimentary ticket for zip lining. Our stay was fabulous. We highly recommend checking them out.

Very comfortable room. The property was being upgraded, but it was not noisy or dirty. I saw the staff making every effort to assist others, also. The location is right off the highway 76. It has a good entrance and exit area . The wifi was good.

"Good Hotel Close to Down Town"

4
30/05/2017

Hotel itself says its a landing view hotel and not flat. Close to downtown and easy to navigate the town. Everything was to my expectation. So many restaurants close by for food and do not need to go away to dine.

"Great place to stay"

The motel is close to the downtown area - within walking distance. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast items were fresh. Employees were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely pick this motel again.

22/05/2017

My wife and I just stayed here for a one night in a standard room. The front desk employee (we didn't catch her name) was AMAZING. It's always nice to run into someone who doesn't do their job sarcastically. The room was very clean, and had been updated recently. You get a coffee maker and a mini fridge, but also: a microwave! Because why do you save left over in a fridge? To hear them up and eat them later! That was a nice touch. The only complaint was the parking lot, as it is narrow and steep, but that's not the hotels fault. This hotel is a good find, and it is a good value. You won't regret a stay here.

"enjoyed our stay"

19/05/2017

Arrived early and our room was ready nice surprise.. The room was just what we requested Thanks Beth... The hotel was in stages of remodeling but we didn't hear any construction the five days we were there.. The breakfast buffet was always stocked with great items.. we never had to ask for anything to be refilled..The rooms were cleaned and compliments were refreshed daily..If in Branson we will return to this location again...Just remember it's very hilly we are in the Ozarks..Good vacation

"Good location for the theatres and restaurants"

16/05/2017

Some fellow travellers in Oklahoma City advised us to call in at Branson on our way to Kentucky and take in one of the several shows in town and we were so glad we did. The hotel is ideally situated for all the main attractions, restaurants and the old town, a free trolley bus stops outside the hotel and drops off and picks up at twelve points in the town.

"Excellent customer service"

15/05/2017

My husband and I arrived in Branson a day early so our timeshare unit wasn't ready for us. We were lucky to find the Best Western on Main Street which was very close to the main tourist area in Historic Branson. You could walk down the waterfront (several blocks) but the walk back would be a killer because of the slope of the road. Our room was very spacious and included everything we needed for the night. Staying longer than one night could easily be done here because the standard room had a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. Although the décor was a little bit older, the room was comfortable and clean. If it wasn't for the occasional sirens during the early part of the evening, the room was very quiet which equals a good night's sleep. The free breakfast in the morning was quite tasty and being able to get free bottled water was a bonus for those of us who were doing some sightseeing in the heat. We also wanted to mentioned the staff at the front desk, particularly Sandy and Ashley, who not only made a lot of good suggestions for dinner and tours but helped us navigate our way to our timeshare (first time using it). They greeted us every time they saw us and were always smiling. When we checked out, the other lady at the front desk was equally pleasant (sorry but I didn't get her name). It was a shame that we only got to stay one night because it sure was a good first impression of Branson for us. If these ladies are typical of the service at this Best Western, we don't see how there could be any complaints. Thank you.

"Branson experience"

10/05/2017

Best Western was located just a block from town. Hotel was clean and had a very friendly staff and easy drive to all the entertainment. When the construction finishes I would say "great place to stay"! Overall it was a great place and well located.

"A great place to stay in Branson."

"Great Location!"

5
07/05/2017

Our room was warm and inviting, updated décor. The staff was excellent, taking the time to help us with questions about where to eat, etc. You can't beat the location in the heart of downtown. We will return.

28/04/2017

Beautiful updated room with handicap parking. Full breakfast including sausage links, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, hot oatmeal, muffins, toast, fruit, juice and coffee. Close to The Landing for shopping.

"The best staff ever but not the best place for handicapped guests."

4
23/04/2017

Due to construction, we were unable to stay in the "handicapped" room, and that presented us with several problems -- navigating up and down the halls and hills. I will tell you that the staff did everything in their power to make it up to us. Good service goes a very long way in making up for other problems.

Wonderful stay at a hotel with one of the best breakfasts and near everything you could want to do in Branson. You can walk to the landing shops and the historic downtown or drive a few blocks or take the trolley to the strip. The staff was very nice and the rooms were decorated with nice furniture.

29/03/2017

I have stayed at this location several times and this BW is a little gem. Reasonably priced; great location; comfortable, clean rooms. Also, did a good job of minimizing the impact of the remodeling work being done. Will come back when in Branson!

Thank you so much! We hope on your next visit with us we have finished the outside and breakfast area and started on the rooms so you can see the progress! Thank you for coming back!

"old hotel, street access, great staff"

3
25/03/2017

The hotel was dated and the rooms were small with the doors facing noisy Main Street. The location can't be beat right next to Branson Landing. Staff was great and very helpful for all our inquiries/needs (we did have a few). We were particularly impressed with how our rooms were cleaned while we were away. The indoor pool is open 24 hours. Parking was very easy. Did seem to be a little expensive for what we were paying for but so is everything else in Branson.

LindseyW_Manager, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am glad you found our staff helpful! We are working on renovating the hotel, starting with the outside (as you saw) with a facelift and adding an elevator to the back building so all rooms can be accessed without stairs and then we will go inside the rooms to renovate them as well (all within this year). Then, our location will not feel so dated. We do face the street, however we do offer the white noise machines and foam ear plugs for the people that are not used to the noise but love our location, as we understand the noise can be bothersome. Thank you so much for your feedback and we hope to see you again soon.

"Nice staff, unheated pool..."

4
21/03/2017

We stayed three nights here and really can only complain about the swimming pool not being heated despite being in a very humid room and that the bathroom vent was very loud. This is a pet-friendly hotel and although we heard the dog next door barking when we passed the door, we barely heard it through the wall. Great selection at breakfast; never had the same thing twice.

LindseyW_Manager, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your recent stay and for your compliments. I am so sorry the pool was too chilly for you, the heated pool can only be heated to a certain degree before becoming a hot tub and breeding bacteria, we are changing the sites to only advertise an indoor pool to change the misconception. We are so very sorry for the inconvenience and do hope you come back to stay with us again soon! Take care.

"Poor"

1
20/03/2017

The breakfast was poor! Housekeeping was poor! The attitude of of the staff was poor! Management should have known based on booking that this was a busy week but no effort was obvious! The pool was cold, room staff didn't make the the bed due to an empty paper sack, breakfast was almost nonexistent, parking was problematic, and the the staff, while friendly, gave only the barest effort!

LindseyW_Manager, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I am so sorry to hear your stay did not come close to meeting your expectations. That is never good to hear from a management stand point. I am aware of how busy Branson is getting and that Spring Breaks are happening, I am so sorry you feel there was no effort. We have a full hot breakfast of Eggs, Sausage, Potatoes, Biscuits, Gravy, Waffles, Oatmeal, Bagels, English Muffins, Danish, Muffins, Toast, Hard Boiled Eggs, Fresh Fruit, Fruit Cups and Yogurt. I am so sorry if things were not stocked fast enough or if that was not enough variety. We do our best to provide a range of choices to our guests. We hope you will consider staying with us again so we can try to change your mind. Thank you for staying with us.

"Spring Break trip"

20/03/2017

rooms and beds were comfortable, staff was very nice. Breakfast area was kind of small so we had to carry our food to our room to eat. could use some more gluten free options for breakfast, but the food was good. Great location for shopping at the Landing.

LindseyW_Manager, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Oh no! We have quite a few gluten free options! I am sorry you missed the sign saying we have them available upon request! There is really no good place for that sign. I am gluten free myself and I try to think, "where would I be looking for a sign like this if I was a guest?" but I can't think of a good place. We finally placed it next to the TV yesterday to see if that will help. Next time you are in, please ask! We have gluten free bars, oatmeal and cereal options. Thanks for staying with us and providing your feedback.

"Very Clean Hotel, near the Landing, Indoor Pool, Pet Friendly"

4
26/11/2016

We just returned from this hotel and it is technically a motel, as the rooms are on the outside, but for someone with pets, this is best. Apparently, if you book your room from Expedia, it gives everyone a "pet room" according to the desk staff. So, even though I actually needed a pet room, they didn't have me down for one because of this... even though I booked a pet room. After a little re-arranging at the front desk, we were given another room and everything was fine. After check in, we immediately left for Silver Dollar City. We had just parked at SDC and received a call from the front desk that a woman in the neighboring room complained that our dog was scratching at the door. I won't go into great detail here, but I think we just had "one of those neighbors". The lady that called from the hotel was super nice about it and explained that maybe we should lock our dog in the bathroom when we leave and that we would be charged an extra $150 if he did any damage while we were out. I explained that we were at Silver Dollar City but would be back by 10 pm to take care of it and she was extremely nice and understanding about it. The doors are metal and he didn't do any damage to the room at all. My guess is that he cried at the door for 15-20 minutes, gave up and went to sleep. When we returned, we couldn't hear anything coming from inside the room and didn't receive any complaints for the rest of our stay. I really commend this place for allowing pets. It's hard to find nice places that allow you to bring your dog. Aside from that, the free breakfast is better than most. Sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereals, pastries, toast, muffins, bagels, waffles and a fridge with fruit cups, yogurt, boiled eggs and water. We didn't get in the pool but the kids did and had a blast. They no longer have a hot tub outside like in the past, but we were told they would be replacing it soon. It's near the landing and has a trolley stop at the lobby entrance. All of the staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean. We will stay here again for sure.

"Great Stay!"

20/11/2016

My daughter and I took my grandson to Branson to ride the Polar Express. WE wanted a hotel at The Landing to be close to the Polar EXpress Depot. The hotel was NEAR the Landing, but truly not at the LAnding. It was a great place, with an indoor pool,a very clean room and very friendly employees. WE really enjoyed our stay; however, if you are planning to be "at" the Branson Landing, this is truly not there. We were allowed to check into our room early and the lobby had fresh chocolate chip cookies and hot apple cider. WE were greeted upon entering and the check-in went smoothly. Parking at the hotel is very easy. The indoor pool is open 24 hours, which is great! We had difficulty with our TV and I called the front desk. Someone was there within 5 minutes and took care of the issue. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We were close to our venue and enjoyed our Branson weekend. Breaksfast is provided free! It is a hot breaksfast with lots of options. There was a coffee maker and a microwave in the room.

"DONT STAY HERE NO HOT WATER TO BATH"

1
20/11/2016

All rooms have exterior entrance and along walk from parking area. Room looked fairly new and clean, BUT went to front desk this morning to complain no hot water to shower. GET THIS He says to many people are showering at same time try later. I tried to get hot even lukewarm water in shower from 5:30 am to 10:15 am when we left, nothing but freezing cold water. So called heated pool had no heat running last night kids teeth were chattering, Have stayed in Branson 4 or 5 times this year and by fair this is the worst hotel experience ever. Free breakfast just so so. Kinda of pricey to be terrible. The 3rd floor was above us and someone was bragging something heavy from about 1 am to about 2am. Back road was noisy.

"Good location for downtown Branson"

3
19/11/2016

We were in a Suite with a balcony (I think only one of two available). The balcony was great with a view of downtown Branson and spacious (like an apartment). The room however, in my opinion, needs remodeling so I only rated the hotel as average. Only ate once at breakfast since it was the same both mornings (biscuits & gravy, etc.). Unless getting a good deal, I would suggest shopping around. Not a luxury hotel, and $179 a night can be better spent elsewhere in Branson (I stayed on points).

"Not a bad place to stay"

4
14/11/2016

The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. But I didn't think it was worth the money we paid. We stayed in Suite 202. This hotel could use some updating. The night stand by the bed had the finish coming off the top of it. The walls are pretty thin as we could hear them it the bathroom next door to us. These are all outside facing doors. you can hear everyone that goes by. If this is what Best Western calls a PLUS hotel I am not impressed.

"Ok but we won't stay there again"

3
09/11/2016

My wife and I wanted to see the beauty of the change of colors this time of year so we decided to take a day trip down to Branson and take in a show. We love the 5 and 10 cents store as well; it's like taking a trip back in time (more about that in a separate post). Back to the Best Western. We have had the pleasure staying at other Best Westerns several times and was at a great rate on the room. We were skeptical when we first saw the place but what the heck it was only for the one night. The place was built into the hills and the rooms were exposed to the outside. It was very clean and comfortable i.e. Great..no complaints at all. A couple of decades ago I would rate this higher. The breakfast was cold and tasteless. To get to the eating area we had walk up a very steep hill (I'm handicapped and have trouble walking up ramps and stairs). Had we wanted use the hot tub we would have had to do the same thing.

"Short vacation"

3
09/11/2016

Good location close to the downtown of Branson. It is on a steep incline. Rates were reasonable when booked on travel site. Easy check in and good staff. Free wifi and breakfast. Food quality reasonable. Rooms have odd layout. Large bathrooms that have very little space to hang towels. Also considerable road noise, so ask for rooms in the back if possible.

"OK motel"

3
07/11/2016

Location is on the main road and you can walk to Branson Landing with their shops and restaurants which is great. Staff is great, front desk is helpful, breakfast staff kept foods replenished for a sold out weekend, and people who clean the rooms were very helpful. Old style motel with room doors that lead to the exterior and since motel is on the main road, the motel is built on a hill and no elevators so make sure you are in OK shape for walking uphill to go to breakfast. Rooms were quiet for sleeping. Rooms have the older style with sink on the outside of the small bathroom, so you wake someone at night if you use the sink. The one thing I don't like here or anywhere is when hotels put pillow shams that do not get washed regularly on top of the clean pillowcases and clean bed linens. Everyone knows that the shams get thrown on the dirty rug and these shams had stains on them. So why do some motels insist putting dingy, dirty shams on the clean bed linens to make the room look like what exactly? Price is reasonable for the location so not a bad motel but not a great motel either. If you plan to be out of the room most of the time like we did, it was OK.

"Branson weekend "

This was the first time we had stayed in the old part of Branson. It was nice to not have to mess with all the traffic of 76. The rooms were nice & the the staff were friendly & helpful. Also close to the river front

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip. We wanted to stay at the landing but the hotels there were too pricey, so we opted for the cheaper option-here. Needless to say, you get what you pay for. The hotel, or motel I should say, was booked when we arrived late that night, but it was very quiet, which was nice. Our room was hard to find. It was in a separate building at the bottom of a VERY steep hill that was facing a construction site. If we were older or had children this would have been horrible. Since we are young and sprite, that didn't bother us too much. However, we were sore from walking up and down that hill after the weekend. Also our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. I'm very allergic and I suffered all weekend. That was horrible. I had a few yellow stains on the duvet cover of my bed as well. Not to pleased with our trip. Not very clean, in a bad location, and smelly rooms. Will not stay again.

"One good place"

I have stayed here a couple times. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The outside is old but the inside is updated. I read some of the other reviews and they need to realize there is only so much you can do in a limited space and they did the best the could with what they had to start with. It is clean and very comfortable. I had a squeaky bath door and the maintenance guy almost beat me back to the room to fix it. I will be staying here every time I visit Branson.

"Just an ok small hotel, nothing special, actually disappointing."

29/10/2016

This is a small hotel. While the room was nice the hotel is old, and built like many motels in the old days where the entrance to the room is from the outside, so there are no internal hallways. There are also no elevators. The room was nice and spacious. The bathroom was small, but you should know that the room doesn't have a work desk but only a table and 2 chairs, which is fine; it's just that it's been years since we've seen that in chain hotels. The breakfast in the morning was very disappointing. It reminded us of the old days where motels offered a very basic continental breakfast. Between the lack of variety of food options and the attendant that didn't bother to re-fill items, or to even notice that the fridge where she kept bottled water as well as yogurt was not keeping things cold, in fact it was as if the fridge was off; that is in addition to a waffle machine that the waffles come out soggy, which we read a review that stated just that, but still we decided to check for ourselves and saw a person in front of us taking the waffle out after it was ready and it looked soggy which was a complete turn off and we just walked away. Additionally, the hotel didn't try to keep its guests quiet, so when we arrive very late at night there were many people outside in the lot making a lot of noise which makes one feel very uncomfortable and uneasy. So while in the room it was quiet, we felt uneasy being outside at night just going to the car to bring things in and also in the morning walking to the breakfast room and later to the car to leave, it felt uncomfortable to be in a place with people being loud in the parking lot as if they owned the place and the hotel management did nothing to make sure All guests are comfortable. The location was convenient as we were close to the highway to drive to where we wanted to go. Sometimes you stay at a hotel that feels so great you want to stay a little longer, but this one didn't make us want to linger, we just wanted to get ready after breakfast and leave immediately.

"Room Need Remodeling"

Rooms dark, Poor bathroom arrangement. Small and crowded sink area, open to rest of bedroom - so no privacy. Breakfast OK but not enough tables on weekend. Internet service poor, often not working. Location is excellent.

"So so"

25/10/2016

It is an easy walk to Branson Landing and the room was clean and not very expensive. The breakfast was crowded and not much variety to offer. We spent the day at Silver Dollar City and were looking forward to some time in the hot tub - it was removed. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. So we thought we would relax and watch some TV, needed to have the person from the desk come down and replace the remote. Over all it was just so so, not sure I would stay here again.

Was in a good location in Branson. Parking was sometimes an issue. Overall, stay was good. Had an issue getting the hot tub to work at one point simply because it had not been used in a long time it seemed.

"Branson Bound"

21/10/2016

While the majority of my stays at this location have been related to business, each time I have found the staff to be very friendly and willing to help, the property to be clean and fairly well maintained, and rooms to be generally clean and comfortable. They feature free wireless internet that is sufficiently robust to support most routine computing needs (I haven't tried streaming videos or games.) The suites are of a nice size, while the other rooms tend to be on the small side of "regular" sized. Being on the Branson Main St. means the facility is built on a hill and may require walking and stairs, the staff is great with attempting to accommodate those visitors who need to be on a ground or grade level floor (just ask.) Enjoy your visit to the beautiful Ozarks and Branson's many attractions.

"Comfort for business trip"

17/10/2016

Stayed the week for business trip. Nice hotel, comfortable room and nice breakfast buffet. Hope to work in the area again so I can book here. The area was nice and nice places to have dinner. There are several attractions but with being there to work there was no time for site seeing.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us during your recent business trip. We are ideally located near City Hall, Downtown and the Landing area. Also, it's easy to get all around town via the side roads where traveler's can avoid the busy 76 "strip". Please come see us again soon.

"Excellent Location"

17/10/2016

This hotel is within walking distance to Dick's 5 & 10, the train ride, and lots of shopping. Our room was GREAT and comfortable--everything worked, the bed was great, TV worked fine, A/C worked nicely--we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days there. Breakfast offered the usual foods--plan on your waffle immediately because the ONE waffle iron takes forever to make a waffle--not the best waffle I've ever had either--kinda soggy. ONE WORD OF WARNING--this hotel sits on some hilly slopes. If you are unstable on your feet or in a wheelchair, be careful because it's very hilly and steep--ask for a room near the front desk. Otherwise, it's a great hotel and we would stay there again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the great review on tripadvisor. Our guests do love the location. I'm also very proud of our staff that makes sure everything is working properly and that our guests are comfortable. Please come back to see us very soon.

"Relaxing night stay"

4
17/10/2016

Other than the musty odor emanating from the room, the bed was comfortable and can't best the free wifi. The room is gorgeous in rich dark colors. Loved the vanity with gold plated sink and antique faucets. Breakfast was your average, nothing special.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
So glad you had a relaxing night with us. I might address a couple concerns. Please let us know immediately if you encounter a musty odor in the future. We try to set our thermostats to save energy when the rooms are not occupied. So we hope that it only takes a few minutes of setting the AC unit on, when you arrive, to make it comfortable. Also, I might mention that our complimentary breakfast has 4 hot Items. Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, biscuits and gravy and fresh waffles. Many of our guests feel we are a tremendous value for the Downtown/Landing Area. Please come back and visit us soon.

"Very helpful staff"

4
13/10/2016

We were unfamiliar with the city and its offerings. Ashley, Kramer and Beth were very helpful, especially Ashley. She walked us through the setup and the schedules. We only had one day in town and because of her we were able to see everything we wanted to see that was available. Very nice rooms, no icky smells to annoy my husband. Great breakfast. Nice pool. Only comment was why they made the closet door mirror reflect into the bathroom??? Overall, excellent for a family vacation.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us and for commenting so favorably about our staff. We do try to make all of our guests feel like they are at home with us. Please come back to see us when you are in Branson again.

"Convenient hotel, but with flaws"

4
12/10/2016

We chose this hotel because of location. Clean facility with attentive staff, excellent breakfast. Complaints: cramped vanity area, a/c hard to regulate, slight bleach odor (room close to pool). Nearby hotels have much lower prices, so you may be paying a premium for the brand. But it was better-than-average.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for commenting favorably about our many pluses. We do have many larger room types and alternate locations throughout the property. We feel we are a great value in the Landing Area in that our rate includes complimentary Breakfast, free wi-fi, parking and a 24 hour indoor pool.

"Nice and affordable"

4
11/10/2016

Very clean, great pool, breakfast was wonderful. Not so great internet and not a good hotel because of its location(on a steep hill) for people with disabilities or elderly persons. Other than that it is located in a very convenient location to the landing and tons of shopping. There is a free trolley that stops at the hotel and travels throughout the area which is really nice.

"It Was Fine"

10/10/2016

Although this particular Best Western claims to be a Plus,I didn't see it,but them I'm not sure what defines a Plus. This is an older hotel that is built on a hill, but then so is most of Branson.Because of this, there is a unique layout of, I guess you'd say, ramps to get to your room instead of an elevator. The room was clean and comfortable, but on the small side.No complaints except for the lighting.Even with all the lights on,it was very dim. Breakfast was included and it was the standard free breakfast you'd get at any Best Western, scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc.Coffee was very good as was what they provided in the room. There is an indoor pool, which we didn't use but looked to be very nice. Location was good and within walking distance of the Landing but it is VERY steep in places! I would not mind staying here again, but my husband has mobility issues and for that reason, probably won't.

"Staff was great. Close to everything. great rate with AAA. Great breakfast."

3
05/10/2016

Rooms here are clean, staff great,Great breakfast and close to everything on main street. The Hotel is built in an odd way with everything up hill or down hill. Trolley picks you up at this location and brings you back. The staff here will do all they can for you! rate was 80.99 per night for us. Go see the Johnny Cash tribute while your in town. Its free and you will enjoy it!!!!!!

"Birthday Stay"

4
22/09/2016

My Husband took me to Branson for my 60th Birthday. this was near the Landing-where we wanted to be. All of the staff was polite and helpful. Would've liked and afternoon snack such as cookie or something-as other hotels do this. Otherwise the room was clean, and nicely decorated. My husband did not care for the coffee at all-and he is a huge coffee drinker. I wished that there was a bigger variety of muffins and yogurt in the morning.

"Weekend getaway "

21/09/2016

This hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful. We were able to walk down to The shops and restaurants at the Landing within 5 min. Historic down town was on the way. We will be skipping the free breakfast but will be staying here next time we visit Branson.

"Where does the "Plus" come from?"

2
20/09/2016

This hotel is definitely not a Plus hotel. We originally booked a King room business only to find that even though it had a window, it looked out to a blank wall in a hallway. We were then offered a single queen (for the same price?). This room was extremely small. It did appear clean, however, the blanket had a very sour smell as if it had not been laundered for a long time. Once I completed the check in, I asked where the spa tub was located. The clerk stated it was being replaced. I stated that I was disappointed but certainly understand maintenance. I found out later there were rooms available with jetted tubs. Hmmmm...I don't understand why that wasn't offered to me. The breakfast is very bland...sausages were rubbery, powdered eggs probably. The waffles were good but even in that the batter was watered down and runny....really?? Is Best Western that strapped that they have to do that? The juice was very watered down, no decaf coffee and so on. We were just passing through this time for the night but having relatives in the area, we come to Branson quite often but will never stay here again. Their customer service was just not up to what I have come to expect at a BW and especially not a Plus hotel.

"Nice, quiet place to stay in Branson"

4
18/09/2016

We stayed at this property as we are Platinum members of Best Western and thought it was well located. We were there 5 nights and it was the quietest place we have ever stayed in. I can't explain why it was so quiet, but it was. It was well located to downtown and the Landing Shopping center (where we had lunch one day) and easy to get to for the shows in Branson. The staff was courteous and friendly and very helpful. The only problem we had was that when we moved in, the bathtub was not entirely clean with long black hair at the far end of the bathtub. I mentioned it to the front desk manager and she took care of it right away. (I was told there would be some consideration on our bill for the oversight, but i didn't see any). That was the only thing we were disturbed about. Otherwise I would give this place high marks.

"Good quiet place"

3
18/09/2016

We thought this was a good hotel for quietness and location. Had a cleaning issue when we first got there, but we got that fixed and we enjoyed our stay. Very close to downtown and also to most of the shows in the area. The traffic can be a bit stressful, but give yourself plenty of time to go from one place to another and you will be fine. Especially in the fall time.

"A Branson, MO go to place for a good, clean, reasonably priced place to stay :)"

5
17/09/2016

This is our 2nd time to stay here. Both times were good experiences. As before our room this time was clean, good comfortable bed with a clean feeling in the whole room. The rooms have been remodeled and are very appealing with nice décor. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a seasonal shuttle that will pick you up and take you down to Branson Landing for shopping and restaurants. We caught the shuttle down, had supper and then walked back, its that close to downtown. We would stay here again :)

"Good experience overall"

13/09/2016

For the cost, these hotels are a good option. Outer maintenance on all of them seems somewhat lacking. Seems shabby. NEED ELEVATORS even to rooms accessed from outside. For safety put an ice machine on every floor. No accommodations for elderly or handicapped people in terms of access to rooms on ground level.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the many positive aspects you mentioned in your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. All of our floors are on a walk-on level, as we are on a hill that makes everything "ground level"! Please let us know your specific needs and we are very happy to try to place your room near an ice machine or any other amenity that is important during you stay.

"Branson, MO trip"

13/09/2016

This is a very clean hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with our check-in and check-out. Also the front desk staff were very knowledgeable regarding questions we had about Branson and all there is to do while there. Hotel is located in a great area, so close to Main Street downtown and the landing shops, also Bass Pro Shop. We had stayed here before and recommended it to our family to stay there during this trip,

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your nice review of our property. We are passionate about everyone having a great experience in Branson. I'm so glad that our staff treated you well and we look forward to seeing you again very soon.

"Nice but ......"

12/09/2016

Clean and spacious rooms. Bed was too soft. My biggest complaint was handicap accessibility. I will not stay again due to this hotel being on a hill and our handicap accessibility room was at the end of the building and we had to climb a hill to get to the breakfast room. The handicap parking spaces are also on the decline of the hill and hard to get in and out because of that. Staff were courteous and friendly. If you don't have handicap issues I recommend this hotel.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Part of the beauty of the Ozarks are the rolling hills, but at times the terrain can also pose some challenges. We do have handicap rooms, depending on your specific needs, where the parking is relatively flat and convenient to the room entrance. Please do check with us on your options the next time you come to Branson.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel on a recent mini vacation to Branson, Mo. The hotel rooms were clean and everything was in excellent working order. The staff of the hotel were all very kind, considerate, and professonial. Everyone was very helpful and prompt with their service and attention to needs. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us and for leaving such a nice posting regarding our hotel. We are most pleased that you and your wife had a great stay with us and that you felt we treated you right! But most of all we are so glad that you will be coming back to see us. It is a pleasure working with great folks like you.

"Great AC"

31/08/2016

Great staff, delicious breakfast, pool open 24 hours, best Air conditioner ever. Big fridge. Little weird that the ice machine and vending machines were in the fitness center and locked at 8:00. But the cleaning staff left us towels when we didnt want to be disturbed and not enough hotels do that.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for so many positive comments about our hotel. We're thrilled that you loved the Staff and the Hotel Amenities. I might mention that we do lock the Fitness Room at 8:00pm but there is a side entrance that is accessible to guests only. It was a pleasure serving you. Please come and see us again very soon.

"disappointed"

3
29/08/2016

Disappointed. Pool was only 3 feet deep all over. Appeared to be filled in on what should have been deep end. When I ask at checkin about pool hours, they did not mention. I reserved this motel especially for pool. My late night swim was a bust and too late to go elsewhere. Front desk could only say sorry. Not worth the price!

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
So sorry you were disappointed. We hear from guests that one of the great things we do over any other Branson Hotel is keep the indoor pool open 24 hrs. But as a trade-off for the health Dept., we don't have a dangerous Deep End to the pool. Parents with smaller children love this because they can take their eyes off the kids for a few seconds and not worry. It can be "lame" to some teenagers. But, my teenagers think everything I do is lame anyway. Please do come back and see us.

"Family friendly"

14/08/2016

The hotel has been updated and the lobby and breakfast area was pleasing to the eye and very clean. The checkin day Friday were greeted by a friendly staff/manger . The lobby had cold lemonade and cookies, due to a warm day obviously. That was the last time that was seen. The entire site is on a fairly steep hill, but within walking distance of the landing and area restaurants and shops. Not recommended for those challenged to walking up steep inclines. Didn't see much of the free trolley rides, during our walks in the shopping areas. The room, a suite was apparently recently remodeled. However the room with a king bed and hideaway, failed in that a very small bathroom and wash basin in the foyer outside the bathroom with the shower and commode. Anything more than two people would be cramped and difficult for bathroom facilities. The wash basin cabinetry was very nice, but very inefficient , two small and considering the area on either side a larger vanity and bowl would have avoided water being splashed all over the vanity top. Looking good and being efficient given the room expectations is important. The shower curtain did not prevent the floor from being a puddle no matter how we tried to keep the water in the tub. The TV and remote were either not compatible or just didn't like each other??!! The desk clerk said it was the TV! The was the extent of the answer or solution. The breakfast was nothing better than average. Bland scrambled powdered eggs , Pork sausage patties looked poached!? Very unappetizing! There was fruit loop type cereal, a waffle maker with a varsity if toppings. The staff was begging keeping up with supplying after first wave of diners. Having a 7-10 on weekends, should be 7:00 am to 10:30 am to accommodate late risers, especially with the 11am checkout. Given room service did not get around until after 3:30 pm. The whirlpool was out of service, not mentioned during the making of reservations. The indoor pool was rather small, looked more like a lap pool. The beds were comfortable and the hideaway and chair appeared a good cleaning was necessary or replacement. Not a hotel for wheelchair or walker users given the steepness of the lots. The buildings should be marked on exterior with A and B respectively, having to look at the room doors from the parking lot is difficult to determine correct building.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review

It was ok for tourist town hotel. Some of the energy to make it a plus seemed lacking in the upkeep and maintenance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great to walk to downtown Branson only two blocks away. Breakfast was average.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Summers in Branson are very busy and it sometimes takes a few days to catch up on needed maintenance. But please do come back to see us as we are making some exciting improvements.

07/08/2016

This visit was a mini vacation. For a BW Plus this motel was not up to standards. We booked a king suite and it was sub par compared to the BW Plus. Everything needs to be upgraded. Breakfast was not well attended by staff. Parking is not being kept clean. The only bonus is that it's 1 block from downtown and the free downtown shuttle stops at the motel.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and for your feedback. After the very busy Summer Season here in Branson, we are thrilled to have some time to upgrade and improve our already great property. Please come back and visit to enjoy our superior service again.

05/08/2016

This hotel is walking distance to the old town area. Problem; it is on an extremely steep hill. Walking into town really no problem...coming back...good news; there is a free trolley that you can get back to the hotel on! Concerning above mentioned hill; parking and just navigating the parking lot can be a problem. Room was older, but we'll appointed and clean. We did experience trouble with the television in our room. Eventually moved to another room. The staff was very pleasant. Didn't receive our fee bottle of water at check in...:(

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for mentioning so many of the great aspects of our hotel. We are just 4 blocks from the Branson Landing, the Convention Center and Historic Down town Branson. So many of our guests appreciate the great value we provide for the Downtown Area. If you compare other hotels nearby, that charge almost twice our rate, and charge for parking, breakfast and wifi, we are a great option! And now with the free shuttle to these destinations people love coming to see us. Please let us know if you need a room near the lobby where you would not be troubled by the hill. We would love to serve you again.

"Bulit on a steep hill!"

02/08/2016

Stay at BW on strip as this one is old, smelly, dangerous to park, drive or walk around and more expensive. Not good for folks on walkers or wheelchairs. Built on a steep hill. the parking in front is very limited and remainder of parking is a steep grade behind main building. Must drive downhill then uphill in short distance to exit parking lot.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
It sounds like we did not meet your expectations and for that I am truly sorry. The Branson hills are part of the beauty in the Ozark Mountain Country. But it does create some challenges when there are special needs. I might mention that we do have several locations on the property where the parking is flat and there is easier access to the main building. Please let us know in advance and we are happy to accommodate your needs.

"Loved the hotel"

01/08/2016

We had a wonderful time at this Best Western and the location was wonderful. Within walking distance to Branson Landing and many nice restaurants and shopping centers. We really didn't have to drive much on this trip and that was wonderful. We plan to stay here every visit to Branson. Loved it!

"Comfy and kind!"

30/07/2016

I highly recommend this hotel! When we went to our room and opened the door it smelled so clean and the towels were made into a bird! It is right on the strip within walking distance of shops and ice cream! The facilities were comfortable and the staff was kind! If you have laundry you would like to do, it is free!

"Steep hill"

29/07/2016

This is a very nice motel in a centrally located area of Branson, close to theaters and the landing. There is a good breakfast buffet, nothing fancy, and a free shuttle stop outside front desk. My only problem with the location is that it is at the top of a steep hill so the parking lot is on an incline. This could be a problem for people with disabilities. Make sure you ask for a room towards the front desk.

"Nice hotel"

29/07/2016

Stayed Sunday the 24-tues the 26th. On Monday we got up late to breakfast at 840 and there was not much left. Monday-friday breakfast is 6-9 and weekend 7-10. My family used the pool 2 of 3 days and enjoyed it both days. The rooms are very nice and they take pets for 10 dollars a day!!

"Great staff"

3
26/07/2016

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and this was close distance to where we needed to be. We were surprised to see be greeted in the room with a towel swan on the bed and beautifully fan-folded towels in the bath and sink area. That being said, the room was cramped (no need for a huge round table!) and the free breakfast was possibly the worst we've ever had. The coffee was absolutely the worst. We booked on a group rate of $97/night, otherwise it would have been overpriced.

"The vacationer2017 had fun in Branson"

26/07/2016

We enjoyed staying in Branson for our yearly vacation. The Best Western Plus Landing View Inn & Suites is a great place to stay at. We just had to walk down the hill and we were in Downtown Branson. Hop in the car and up the hill to the strip on hwy 76 for shows and other fun attractions. We plan on coming back to Branson soon! My parents and my friends had a great time too.

"Great hotel."

"Not my favorite Best Western"

3
24/07/2016

Stayed here on a quick stop in Branson, MO. Location was great and easy to get back and forth to historic downtown and Branson landing by using the back entrance. The hotel is trying hard, but could use some updating. Our room was very small with large, old furniture, but It was clean and the staff was upbeat. This was one of the only BW hotels with an outside patio where we sat and watched the sun come up over Lake Taneycomo.

"Very enjoyable stay"

4
21/07/2016

We had a single room, nicely decorated and very clean. I really like the old time vanity sink. Bedding was very nice and bed was comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave and in-room coffee. Everything we needed! Breakfast was the usual fare, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal. Staff was friendly. This location is close to downtown and the Landing. Since traffic in Branson is so heavy I would highly recommend this location. We enjoyed our stay and if I had to find fault, there was some street noise from the very busy highway in front of the hotel. But if you weren't on the street side I am sure you would not notice it at all.

"Value for the Money"

4
20/07/2016

I feel the price seemed about right for the accommodations we had. The only thing is, my husband and I are used to a King Bed and he had a hard time sharing the queen bed. Our grandson had the other bed. The bathrooms are really small and you can barely sit down on the toilet and close the door without getting closterphopic.

"By the landing"

18/07/2016

Very nice location 4 blocks from the Branson Landing which has a large variety of shopping and dining. Hotel room average and quiet. Breakfast area has indoor and outdoor tables and was very clean but should offer more fresh fruit varieties.

"A little dated motel but convenient"

3
18/07/2016

The only reason we have stayed in this motel is that it is close to Camp Kanukuk and convenient to dropping off kids and picking them back up the next weekend. Also close to Branson Landing for shopping. It is located in the back of a hill, so lots of ups and downs. The rooms are a little small especially in the bathroom area. There is a little tiny sink outside the toilet area about as big as an airline toilet one. Very little counter space. When you turn on the bathroom light, the exhaust fan also comes on which is very annoying especially at night. The pillows are little tiny squares, not regulation and the outlets on the lamps to charge your phones were dead. Be sure to check before you plug them in and don't just assume your phone is charging! It is the old-fashioned type of motel with the parking outside of your room. I guess they do the best they can with the space they have. If you happen to get a room by a tree, there are some very noisy birds or insects that wake you up around 5.

"Hillside"

Lot of uphill walking. No elevators,. Not disability friendly. Customer service and room excellent. Nice indoor pool. Small exercise room. Good simple breakfast. Easy check in and out. Excellent help with transportation and attractions providing good information. Helped with routes getting around town and knowing where to go for meals and entertainment.

"Nice place"

The motel was centrally located along 76 and therefore easy access to all the shows and places to eat. They had the info needed to get what we wanted and where it was. We were in walking distance to many shops and the riverfront.

"Not worth the price"

3
15/07/2016

We thought that adding the Plus to the Best Western would mean it is upgraded, not the truth. We booked for a conference on the Landing because of location. For the price of our rooms, I was highly disappointed. The rooms were old and worn out. Our refrigerator door fell off! The knob to the AC was broken off as well as many light fixtures. The breakfast staff couldn't keep up so often there was no breakfast. We will book down the street next time.

"Best Western Landing"

14/07/2016

This is always a great location for us because we have grandchildren in a nearby camp. Also, we love Dick's 5 & 10 and you can walk there from this hotel. You can also walk to the Landing, easily. It is not a difficult drive to any of the shows or to Silver Dollar City. The pool is a nice size and covered--so no more sun after day at SDC, but there are windows which are open so you don't get that nasty indoor pool smell. The staff were very professional and friendly and the rooms clean. We always stay here if possible.

"A little disappointed"

3
07/07/2016

First, the personnel at the motel were great. I would not give the motel a Best Western PLUS. Bathrooms need to be upgraded. Room had no bad odor. Comfortable mattress. Close to the Branson Landing. If you are a goat, Steak and Shake, and Chick-fil-A are close. Breakfast buffet, I would give a C.

"Friendly, Family Hotel"

05/07/2016

This hotel is well located with quiet & comfortable rooms. The many "extras" makes this Best Western Plus hotel stand out. The breakfasts are delicious with many choices to suit most peoples preferences. The breakfast room is beautiful and well appointed. The rooms are clean, well decorated with comfortable beds. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We have returned to this hotel twice which says a lot as it is located in a town with hundreds of nice places to stay.

"Short visit"

03/07/2016

The hotel was clean and reasonably priced but the space did not suit our family of six. We had a good time playing in the pool together. Most likely will not return because of the very small room which was a King Suite. The free breakfast and location was an attraction for my reasoning for choosing this hotel and of course the ratings on Trip Advisor.

"Great Location"

3
29/06/2016

This hotel has great location and very friendly staff, so that's what you are paying for in the price. Otherwise the rooms are fair in size, decor and comfort, the breakfast is fair and often the dining room is overcrowded because the hotel size is large compared to the dining room size and the hosts have a hard time keeping up with the demand on keeping the food stocked appropriately. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool it was refreshing at the end of a hot day.

"Very nice room for the money"

5
27/06/2016

This time we got the King Suite. Very nice room, very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. I had to work there and the desk/work area was great. This hotel is close to the Branson Landing within walking distance. It is also easy to drive down to the Landing where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Only downside is the hill coming back if you are walking.

"Amazing stay"

20/06/2016

We wish we had been in Beanson longer if only to stay here longer. The room decor was very classy and clean. We came into the room and we greeted with a towel swan. The breakfast was fairly crowded but it seemed there was a wedding and a church group so it was slightly expected. There is a back(2nd) separate building that does not connect to the main building. So if the weather was poor you might have issues getting to breakfast/pool/outdoor hot tub. This would be further hindered if it was icy due to a steep incline in the parking lots, but that is the terrain of the town and nothing controllable by the hotel. Extremely happy

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We sure wish you could have stayed longer too! We enjoy meeting great folks like you and hope you will come back very soon to see us. Thank you so much for coming to stay with us and giving us such a nice review on tripadvisor.

"Some Problems"

20/06/2016

Phone didn't work, Door wouldn't lock didn't work for 2 different days. Damaged my Car in the front parking lot on the light pole. Towels and bed were nice. Room cooled off easy, but the air conditioner made some noise at night. Breakfast had the same things everyday, but the lady kept it well stocked for everyone.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so sorry about the problems you encountered. Extreme weather impacted our doors and we had some issues with them swelling and not latching properly. We are staffed 24 hours and do try very hard to fix any issue or find a room that will work for our guests. Please do come back, contact me directly and we will try to show you our normal great service.

"Start out not so good ended GREAT"

18/06/2016

We were put in a room that wasn't cleaned by error. We were moved to another room right away on the street side which was noisy from the street. BW can't help that. The breakfast room was ALWAYS busy so we couldn't sit in that area had to eat in our rooms. Since it was busy breakfast foods were limited, but the lady did her best to keep the food up and the tables clean. I even saw the manager helped her out. BW addressed my issue and offered EXCELLENT customer service.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so glad we finished on a strong note. We are certainly not perfect, but we try very hard to rectify any bad situation. Please come back to see us and I would like to personally hear from you and make sure we treat you right.

17/06/2016

From the check-in to the check-out all of the staff were very helpful and courteous. Our room was very spacious (Queen Suite) and comfortable. Location to the old downtown area was a plus especially since the trolley stopped right in front. However this service ended at 6pm

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so glad you had an excellent stay! Please let all of your friends and family know about us here, just a few blocks away from the Branson Landing, and Historic Downtown. Our staff is great and we look forward to serving great folks like you again!!

"Friendly & Clean"

13/06/2016

We had exceptional service and everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We were with a large group and everyone seemed to feel the same. Loved having the Free trolley service stop at the hotel every 20 minutes. It was also just a short walk to the landing with great places to eat, shop or take in all kinds of recreation.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are blessed with a great location only four blocks from the Branson Landing, Historic Downtown and the Convention Center. But I am most proud of our staff that has a real heart for serving our guests. Thank you for acknowledging them and please come back to see us very soon.

"Very Good Hotel by the Landing"

4
10/06/2016

Excellent location, clean, and a good night's sleep. I am not a fan of any hotel breakfast, so it is nice there is a sit-down restaurant and McDonald's within walking distance. A bit more of of a stretch if you have children, but we walked to the Landing outlet as well to avoid traffic and parking frustration.

"Great Location and Updated rooms"

5
10/06/2016

Location is great, very close to Branson Landing with access to free downtown Trolley. Rooms have been updated and ours was very comfortable and clean. This is obviously at older property but is very well maintained; updated interior, fresh paint on exterior, parking lot maintained and property was very clean. All of our staff interactions were pleasant and all were friendly and offered help at every chance. Great place for a downtown stay and to avoid the traffic on the Strip. We will definitely be back!!!.

"Good competitive hotel"

5
07/06/2016

This Best Western is in a very convenient location to many theaters which, at the same time, means people staying here have to contend with traffic on Highway 76/Country Music Boulvard (a.k.a. "the Strip"). The excellent desk staff can offer suggestions on how to avoid some traffic issues. Rooms are clean, the provided breakfast is "continental plus" (with a few hot item), and the indoor pool is as fine as that at much more expensive hotels. The hotel consists of several room blocks laid on on a slope. The back blocks are almost invisible from the highway because of the grade and are surprisingly quiet. The rates here are competitive with similar and even a few better equipped hotels in Branson.

"Pros and cons"

3
07/06/2016

Pros - Within walking distance of downtown and Branson Landing, if you don't mind walking several blocks. (We were fine with it.) Decent breakfast. King suite had nice living room. Great shower. Ceiling fans in living area and another in the bedroom. Staff was very helpful - we had booked a couple of rooms, and my elderly mother-in-law wasn't happy with hers. The staff got her switched to a different room that worked much better for her. Plenty of free parking, and a shuttle stop for going downtown. Cons - The décor is somewhat dated, but so is my house, so that's not a deal breaker. :-) Light switches are confusing - the bedroom alone had 6 different switches. Nothing was labeled and it took lots of trial and error to figure out what switch worked which light or ceiling fan. The mattress in our room was extremely soft (worn out). I was tired, so I slept, but it was not very comfortable. No outlets available in the bedroom - it would be nice to have one near the bed for plugging in your phone to charge overnight. The bedroom wasn't much wider than the bed. It included a dresser and chair in one corner and a Jacuzzi in the other, so the only place to set up the luggage rack was next to the bed. I was constantly bumping into the chair or luggage rack when trying to get into my side of the bed at night. (The light switches were all next to the door, so I was in complete darkness trying to find the bed.) Didn't use the Jacuzzi, so I can't say if it was good or not. The hotel is built into a steep hillside, so parking along the sides is very steep. (There are parking areas at the top of the hill that are more level if you don't mind walking farther.) All entrances are outside - no interior hallways. Overall, it was OK, but personally, I would probably try somewhere else next time.

06/06/2016

Very good place to stay. Breakfast was very good and the bed was comfortable.. It was close to shopping and the landing. It was in walking distance to shopping store. It was kind of in the old part of town. Also had some food places too.

"Oversight Stay Branson,Mo"

27/05/2016

Overall the hotel was ok,but the parking lot is steep and the rooms have an outside entrance, especially if your traveling with a pet you stay at the back of the main building! It is good location for sight seeing. The buffet breakfast could have been better and the eating area, lobby was warm like there was no air conditioning.

"Happy return"

26/05/2016

We are so glad that we were able to get rooms again at this Best Western location in Branson, Missouri. It is close to everything without being too busy, noisy, or flashing lights to bother us. We look forward to staying here again next year and many years to come.

"Good location"

18/05/2016

Clean, nicely located hotel. Great free breakfast and free parking. Don't judge the outside or you might not like the place. Had a free shuttle outside and easy access to walking to old downtown Branson

"Another great stay!"

5
16/05/2016

This is about the fourth or fifth time we've stayed at this hotel and we were not dissappointed! The staff couldn't be friendlier (and professional)! We always get a king suite which gives us enough room to spread out! The room was very clean and well appointed. We have absolutely no complaints!

"Branson business meeting"

5
16/05/2016

This was a great hotel, very clean, comfortable and great staff! Hope to be able to stay here again! The location was good. Always went out the back side to get on main street because it was easier. The breakfast was very good! The staff was so easy to work with and our room was cleaned every day. Nice patio to sit on and over look Branson Landing and easy to get to the shops and shows from the hotel!

"Niagara was above us."

3
16/05/2016

ANY time the water above was turned on (or flushed) the noise level in our room was way way above acceptable levels. AT about 1 am the people above us took a shower. The noise in our room was so loud I thought a tornado was headed our way. Sleep was difficult under the noise conditions. BUT otherwise the room smelled great. The room was clean, all except waters in the refrigerator form the last occupants, and the toilet paper was low.

"Best Western Again"

4
10/05/2016

Still a good economical place to stay and downtown is readily accessible. The free trolley stops in front of the hotel about every twenty minutes and makes about 13 stops. (Be sure and tip the driver a buck or two). The only problem we had is we booked a non-smoking room and the room smelled of cigarette smoke. I advised the front desk and they sprayed something in it to make it smell better! Breakfast is pretty good with make it yourself waffles and usual fruit, etc. Parking can get a little "iffy" sometimes because of the hotel being on the side of a hill.

"Great Stay"

5
10/05/2016

Great value. Clean and very friendly and helpful staff and great location. Liked the fact the pool is open 24 hours. It is walking distance to the Branson Landing and Old down town, great place for the family to stay at or just yourself. Highly recommend it.

"Very Satisfied! Let's plan the next trip!"

09/05/2016

What a fantastic stay! The 24 hour pool and hot tub made this stay amazing! The bed was so comfortable and the water pressure for the showers rock! The staff were all so pleasant! I am definitely already planning my next trip with this hotel in the plans!

"Did they forget something?"

07/05/2016

Hotel was not too professional about cleaning rooms. We requested softer pillows on our way out for the day. When we returned in evening, pillows were sitting on chair but nothing else had been touched. Asked front desk why they did not make bed, empty trash, replace towels etc. front desk said they are gone for day, they got their paperwork wrong and checked off the room as clean. Offered to bring clean towels but ...said she would compensate us but we booked on line so she couldn't do anything.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm truly sorry about the mis-communication with our staff. When you requested different pillows our housekeeper thought that you only wanted limited intrusion into your room. However, our front desk staff is normally willing to tidy up a room even late into the night. I regret that we fell short of meeting your expectations. Please contact me directly if you return so that we can make certain that you are treated right.

Very nice accomodations, pleasant staff from the gen. mgr, to front desk, to cleaning staff. This was our 3rd stay here, and will do it again, if back in Branson, MO. Staff helpfull in giving directions to shows, restaurants, ect. This was Not the case in our stay in Memphis, TN. I will NOT go there again, But Branson, I definitely WILL.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Bruce M., Thank you for staying with us and i twas a pleasure meeting you. I remember that you told me about your unpleasant experience in Memphis and I hope you we give them your feedback with the hope that they would use it to improve. I'm so glad that you've come back to see us on 3 occasions now and will return on your next visit to Branson.

"Great Location and Customer Service"

02/05/2016

Beth and Sandy are awesome employees at this inn. They helped us get reservations and made sure everything was as the advertisement said was offered. I can't remember anymore which one checked us into our accommodations, but she did an awesome job getting us settled into the right rooms (have a mother with special needs). The waffles are the best that we've EVER tasted. No kidding! The rest of the breakfast was nice, too. The only thing we will be careful to do when we come back will be to get rooms away from the street. It's pretty loud because it sits on a hill and the vehicles have to give extra gas to get up the street. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be so noticeable on the back side of the hotel. Location is super. Downtown is within walking distance so you don't have parking issues. We'll be back.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear hrp1776 - Thank you so much for your kind review in TripAdvisor. Our staff works hard to make sure each guest is treated like family and I'm thrilled that we were able to accommodate your needs and the special needs of your mother. Our hotel offers so many room choices and so on your next visit, we would be happy to find you a room in a quieter location. Thank you also for pointing out that our location is perfect for those wanting to take advantage of beautiful Historic Downtown Branson as well as Branson Landing. We look forward to seeing you again soon and we'll make sure to have plenty of waffles ready!

"Second visit"

01/05/2016

The rooms and breakfast were good , although breakfast was the same for three days. Way too far to walk for ice machine. TV in breakfast area was broken all 3 days. Nice staff in breakfast area. Privacy signs on door handles need replaced. Kept falling off. We would stay again. Slow internet

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear David - So glad to hear that you will be visiting us again. I appreciate your feedback on some areas where we can improve. We recently upgraded the wifi to fiber optics so perhaps we're still needing to make adjustments with the new equipment. We look forward to exceeding your expectations the next time you visit us in Branson.

"Nice Rooms"

24/04/2016

We had two rooms here for two nights. The rooms are nice and clean. I bit on the small side but it worked for us. The breakfast was average. There was to be many people there the lady would hardly keep. The wifi is very spotty at best. would recommend this location

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
So glad that you would recommend our location. I might mention that we have a variety of room types and some are quite spacious. Also, we've recently had the opportunity to upgrade our wifi to fiber optics, making it significantly faster and more reliable. We hope you give us the opportunity to exceed your expectations at your next visit.

"2 night stay first time in Branson "

5
17/04/2016

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and from the get-go the staff was extremely accommodating; giving us complimentary waters as we checked in, basically walking us to our room door & making sure we didn't get lost along the way, and always trying to please. Room bed was super cozy and had soft sheets. An extra blanket, sheet, and pillow were in the closet. Maid staff was awesome at keeping the room clean and we even saw a maid on her hands and knees scrubbing down the floorboards as we were packing up to leave today. Can't say anything bad about this place really. If you can...well you're a negative Nancy.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Kriste M - Thank you for being such a strong advocate of our hotel and staff. Your detailed information is sure to help other guests choose our property and we're thrilled that you were treated like family as we aspire to do for all. 10/04/2016

Stayed at this hotel because it was within walking distance to the convention center and the shopping district at The Landing. The room was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Every staff member I encountered was friendly. Already booked rooms for next year's conference!

"A 'Plus' experience"

5
09/04/2016

We just spent 5 enjoyable nights in Branson at Best Western Plus. The staff are friendly and excellent. They dealt with a concern we had in a professional and satisfying manner. The location also placed us close to Branson Landing and the attractions in that area. Room was clean and pleasant.

"Great place to stay"

5
07/04/2016

We travel to Branson several times a year and have stayed in many hotels there. Their AAA rates beat the advertised rates from online discount sites. We had a king size suite. It was very large with new furnishings and nicely decorated. There was a living room area, separate bathroom and bedroom with a two person jacuzzi tub. It smelled fresh and clean. We did not hear any outside noises. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, waffles, multiple types of bread, mini muffins, yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cold cereals, coffee, hot tea, bottled water, milk and juice. It was kept very well stocked. A manager was walking around greeting guest and addressing any concerns they may have had. Trolley stop is located on site. However, it is within walking distance to old downtown if you can handle hills. They can also order tickets at the front desk to area attractions. Worth the money!

"Very impressed "

02/04/2016

Great nights sleep! The beds are extremely comfortable. We stayed in a king bed business suite. When we arrived I asked about the rooms available for the TripAdvisor pricing. we were given a larger room for the same price as listed! The staff is very polite and friendly. The room was beautiful. It looked as though it was recently updated. We will definitely stay there again.

I travel alot for business and pleasure, and must say this property met all my expectations. It was in line with everything and minutes away from anything. The staff went out of there way to greet us each and everytime. Must stay when in Branson, MO!!!!! We will be back.

"Always Outstanding"

30/03/2016

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Branson Landing many times and they never fail in their hospitality, service and quality of the room. The GM Jeff is always accommodating and his staff is wonderful. Would recommend this location to any visitor.

"Branson Landing View"

5
27/03/2016

Great location only one block from downtown Branson, and three blocks from the Branson Landing shopping. Nice to be able to walk to downtown shops due to the traffic and limited parking. If you stay at the hotel, request a room away from the street as traffic noise can be a bit much.

"Too much car noise!"

3
24/03/2016

Friendly staff, nicely decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Everything was great except for the road noise that I heard all night long. The hotel is on a steep hill and i heard car engines all night long. I asked for a quiet room and was put right on the main road, so if that is quiet, I hate to think of what a noisy room sounds like. Except for the noise, it was a great location, very affordable and I would have given this property 5 stars.

"One Night Stay"

3
23/03/2016

It was fine for a night. Wouldn't stay for too long. The location was great and the staff was very friendly. It was what I expected and the room rate was certainly very reasonable compared to the convention center rates.

"our 2 night family getaway"

23/03/2016

perfect location. affordable price, nice breakfast. 24 hr. pool. everything was with in 15 minutes of us. only bad thing was the control batteries went dead the night before we left. parking is free and right in front of the rooms. plenty of places to eat nearby. all the shows are right off the freeway a little pricey but over all a family friendly place to be.

"Awesome"

"Best Western Branson"

21/03/2016

Could have went much smoother. Reservations were mixed up and spent a lot of time and energy going back in forth with luggage to get things straightened out. Exterior of hotel needs updated, not very pleasing at first sight.

"Amazing find in a city full of hotels"

5
19/03/2016

Was I ever impressed to find this gem of a hotel that accepted a discount coupon that I found in a roadside magazine rack. The check-in staff was very pleasant and the hotel manager was quite accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a good water flow. The best feature of this hotel was it's free, open all-night laundry where I could wash and dry 4 loads of laundry. Only cost was the laundry soap. I felt safe and secure in the laundry that was equipped with a flat screen TV and 2 washer/dryer units. I was able to lock myself in the room and be safe from intruders. The breakfast buffet was nice with eggs and waffles. I suggested to the manager to consider offering a turkey sausage or bacon to the more health-conscious traveler. He stated that he would consider doing so. At present all meats are pork.

"The best stay"

5
18/03/2016

The friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Everyone from the GM to the breakfast staff to the housekeepers are willing to go the extra mile to assure there is nothing wrong during your stay. An excellent breakfast hot clean and never run out of anything no matter how busy they get. If you need a hotel in Branson stay here.

"Great Place, shallow pool"

5
16/03/2016

Everything was great! Good breakfast which is just standard fare plus eggs and sausage. The pool is shallow - only 3 feet deep. That is great for younger children but my older kids found it boring. I will stay there again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Bryan J., We are so glad you stayed with us and that your younger kids enjoyed the pool so much. We are one of the few hotels where the pool is open 24-hours so our guests can relax and have a swim after a Branson Show and late supper. Parents love the fact that their kids can frolic in the 3-foot waters while the adults read a book or socialize with friends, knowing that the kids are safe. We look forward to having you stay with us again very soon.

"Dried puke on the floor"

1
13/03/2016

This Best Western house keeping sucks. Found dried puke on the floor. It was late by the time we found the puke and we were exhausted, so we just covered it up and went to sleep. We mentioned the puke when we checked out .

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. But I need to be fair to my hard working staff at this point. It was quite early when you checked out so we could not immediately investigate what you saw on your carpet. So out of courtesy to you we refunded the full amount of your stay with us for the one night. When I came in that morning, I personally checked your room and found that there was a Peanut M&M broken into pieces stepped on into the carpet. There was also an empty Peanut M&M bag in your trash can near the bed. We took pictures to document. In fairness, I believe you may have mis-identified the debris on the carpet. Our staff is very caring, conscientious, and accommodating and thus you received a free night stay with no questions asked.

"A great place!"

5
10/03/2016

Very convenient to the Landing area. The hotel staff is beyond compare. With the Spring season upon us, this hotel is a wise choice for anyone. With the Branson Trolley at the door, getting around downtown is a simple, quick, affair.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Michael B., Thank you so much for staying with us. I am so pleased that you had a great time and enjoyed the convenience of our location and our great staff. We are looking forward to beautiful Spring weather and we invite you to come back and enjoy relaxing on our 3rd floor deck overlooking Downtown and the Branson Landing. We appreciate folks like you so very much.

"Very Friendly Staff, Clean, Cute"

5
29/02/2016

I highly recommend this hotel. Great location by cute cafes and shops. Right by the landing. Very nice hotel for the price. I stay at many places at this price point and rarely get something this cute and nice. The staff is very friendly and treat you like family. Flat screen TV, very clean, easy to get to. Breakfast was hot and well attended to. I had no problems with this hotel. I will stay here again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Toleka K, It was such a pleasure having you stay with us! Thank you so much for the positive comments about our updated rooms, location and great staff. It is families like you that make our work such a joy. Please come back and see us very soon.

"Better than I expected at first glance"

4
22/02/2016

At first glance I was not sure how the room was going to look, since it is an older hotel and the doors are on the outside. When we walked into our room it was very nice! It looked nothing like the outside, very updated! The card to open the door was like a fob, you just placed it near the sensor and it unlocked. We had the jacuzzi room, it was very nice, there was a living room space with a t.v., then the jacuzzi was in the bedroom separate from living room and it also had a t.v.! Overall I was very pleased! The room was also ready for us a little after 1p.m.! The negative for us was you could hear people upstairs in the room above us. You could also hear them walking around. Kinda ruins the romantic setting that you are going for when you get a jacuzzi room.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Michael G., We often have folks comment that even though our building flits nicely with our surrounding Historic Downtown Branson, the rooms and amenities are surprisingly up-to-date. I'm so pleased that you had a great stay with us. Please come back and see us again.

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this location."

We came here on a business trip but ended up having a really good time. The room was clean, well stocked daily and had everything we needed and more: refrigerator, microwave, WiFi, breakfast and an all night swimming pool. We stayed in room 301 which we believe is the best location there! You are steps away from the door that enters the pool and dining area, ground floor to the parking lot and no steps!

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Roni K., I'm so glad that we could add a little pleasure to your business trip. With the product, service and amenities we provide, we feel we are a tremendous value for the Downtown Branson Area. We're so glad you had a really good time. Please come back again and stay longer!

I booked a Jacuzzi room and everything was great except that whenever a room above or next door used any water(bath, shower, toilet) it was SO loud. Everything else was wonderful. The king bed was comfortable but my kids hated the sofa bed. They said it was very springy. The room had 2 Tv's which was nice.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so glad that your family had fun in one of our upgraded Jacuzzi Suites. With the two-room suite the kids can travel with you and parents can still have privacy in the bedroom with the Hit Tub. We look forward to your family coming back to see us again.

"Great except for the beds"

15/02/2016

I've stayed at many Best Western's and never had an issue with the beds until this last stay. The bed was like a rock. I could feel the springs when moving around. Otherwise, everything else was nice.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Jena32, I'm pleased that your visit overall was pleasant. I am sorry you didn't care for the bed in your room. We do have new mattresses and we get positive feedback a majority of the time. But I do apologize, please come back and we can try a different room type that might be more to your liking.

Great location with easy access to main through fare. The day began with a continental breakfast that would have been worth paying for. And then the wait staff assisted with coordinating our shopping trip and golf outing. They went above and beyond their normal duties in seeing that our stay was the best one we could have had.

"We like it, 2nd stay. "

06/02/2016

We like it but we have a room on the back side and the noise from the neghbors above us was horrible. Did not call it in as I think there is probably nothing the hotel staff could do about it. Great breakfast. Enjoy and we will be back.

"Excellent place to stay"

04/02/2016

I will stay at your hotel the next time I come through Branson. It is situated close to Highway 65S and is enroute to my destination in Arkansas. Your hotel is very clean and well managed. I even asked directions to HWY 65S and the hotel staff knew exactly how to get there. I found that excellent as well. My whole experience was excellent. I thank you also for offering a very clean and professionally managed environment.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Ronald M., We are so trilled that you had a great stay with us and that you are planning to come back. Thank you so much for acknowledging our great staff and the many positives at our hotel. It is such an honor to host wonderful guests like you. Please do come back to see us soon!

"Ticks the boxes"

03/01/2016

For a rate of around $80 + tax I would say its a good deal. Rooms are clean and comfortable. WYFI & TV certainly adequate and breakfasat is included. Its a 5 minute walk to the landing, so for us, it ticked all the boxes.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so glad we met all of your expectations and that you had a good visit at our hotel. We are are great value for the Downtown Branson Area. Just 4 blocks from the Convention Center, Historic Downtown and the Branson Landing. We do provide a full breakfast bar, free wi-fi and a 24 hour, indoor pool. Please come back to see us again this year. We are a great spot to enjoy Branson at a reasonable price.

28/12/2015

We reserved the room on line, check in was easy, the room was great, the employees were courteous and helpful. WE would stay there again when we go to Branson. It is easy to access all attractions from the motel.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you Calico Rock! We're so glad you came to see us and I'm thrilled that all went smoothly and our staff treated you right. We are in a great location where our guests are within walking distance of the Convention Center, the Branson Landing and Historic Downtown Branson. Most of all, I'm so glad that you will return to visit us again.

26/12/2015

Rooms are not user friendly if you use cell phones, tablets or anything you want to charge. Room 503 had no outlets near my bed. Had to move the bed to get to an outlet. Looks beautiful & clean at first glance. The only real positive is the beds were VERY comfortable. I would stay again for a good nights sleep. Front desk gals were very friendly & helpful. Thank you.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear 816mig, At first read, I wasn't sure if you meant this posting for our hotel as we don't have a room 503. But assuming it was a different room number at our hotel, I will respond that we have placed a 3-outlet charging station on all of the desks and tables in the rooms. However, folks are wanting to charge phones and tablets near their bed and that is something we must address as we make improvements. Please do come back to see us as we are constantly making positive changes at our hotel. We would love to see you back again soon.

"Nice Place to Stay"

21/12/2015

Extremely nice and very Professional Employees. The bed was so comfortable the decor was outstanding and the hotel was very quiet. I would recommend to anyone for business or pleasure and pet friendly as well.

Dear Rhonda M., Thank you so much for staying with us and posting such a nice review of your stay. We are so glad that you enjoyed every aspect of your visit including our friendly, professional staff, the decor and our comfy beds. We love hosting great folks like you and hope you will come back very soon to see us again.

"Noisy"

2
16/12/2015

The facility is nice, but rooms a long highway are extremely noisy. If you stay at this hotel, insist on a room that is on the back side of the property. It is impossible to sleep in the rooms along the highway.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are very pleased to position folks on the back side of our building if they are light sleepers. Please check back with us on your next visit and we will do our best to satisfy your needs.

"Rooms are dirty and many smell of smoke, mold and other things."

2
15/12/2015

Many of the rooms smell of various things- smoke, mold, plug in air fresheners that must have been used to cover up other odors. The rooms aren't clean and have caked on dust on furniture. Carpeting in rooms is musty and needs to be replaced. Location is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel; however, the location isn't worth having a smelly, dirty room.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
It breaks our hearts when a guest is not satisfied at our hotel. In this case we felt like we did everything possible to rectify a bad situation and nothing seemed to help. We believe a previous guest did smoke in a non-smoking room and we used our "ozone" equipment and deodorizer to correct the problem as we were facing a sold-out night ahead. We offered several other room choices and gave a free upgrade to try to make up for the problem in first room. However, in fairness, the comments made here about our room cleanliness do not reflect the effort our staff puts in everyday. In fact, we were pleased that the other two families traveling with you chose to stay longer and seemed satisfied. But we are sorry you were not pleased. We do try to go above and beyond to satisfy our guests.

"ask for a room not facing the street"

3
11/12/2015

older building but well maintained, our room was small but clean and orderly, however, our room was on the side of the building that faces the main street. As a result, we were unable to sleep due to the loud noise of cars and trucks driving by pretty much all night long. Hotel is located walking distance to the Landing and many shops.

"First place I check"

5
08/12/2015

We have stayed here several times with a group and just the 2 of us. I like the fact it is close enough to downtown and the Landing it is an easy walk. If the girls want to go shop the guys can hang out at the hotel or we can all go to the Landing for dinner.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Patti C., Thank you so much for being a repeat guest. We are honored that we are your "go-to hotel". We do have a great location within walking distance of the Branson Landing, Convention Center and Historic Downtown. And now with the Free Shuttle, it is even more convenient for members of the family to shop while others enjoy different aspects of Branson. Please come back again very soon. It is great hosting wonderful guests like you.

"Great Place to stay Downtown"

5
08/12/2015

I booked three nights at the Best Western Landing due to the location of being downtown. It is a few blocks from downtown, easy walking distance and is a charm among hotels in Branson. The room was impeccable with amazing decor and great service. The breakfast was hot and fresh, amazing waffles and the service was very attentive. Overall, the stay was amazing and would definitely stay here each time I come to Branson.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Michael D., Thank you so much for the very nice review. We are very pleased that are location worked well for you. Our rooms are nicely appointed and the staff works hard to make every guest experience great. The amazing part of our job is meeting wonderful people like you. Please come back and see us very soon.

"Fantastic Hotel and staff!"

06/12/2015

This Best Western is located in downtown Branson and is very convenient to the Branson Landing and all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The staff was incredibly hospitable and willing to do anything for me during my stay. The trolley has a stop at the hotel to make it easy to get around the area, or if you want the exercise, the hotel is close to a lot of things you can walk to.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and took advantage of our great location just a few blocks from the Branson Landing, Historic Downtown and the Branson Convention Center. I'm so glad our staff met your needs. It is a pleasure hosting great folks like you and we hope to see you again very soon.

We had a great time at Best Western Plus Landing View. We had the Jacuzzi suite at a great price. All went well. Go for the Jacuzzi suite. You'll enjoy it, especially if you have children and do not want to get an extra room.

"Nice motel, good location, and great staff"

30/11/2015

This was our second time to stay at this motel within the past year. The first time it was just my wife and I. This time however, it was the whole family (6 of our 8 kids) so we had three rooms. The best testimonial I can give is to state we had actually picked a different hotel to stay at on this trip. Not because of any previous experience but just because we like to try new things and it put us closer to a specific attraction. We arrived at the other hotel a few hours before check-in time. But after my wife an 15 year old son contacted the lobby staff about checking in early, they decided it would be best to look for another place (without canceling this reservation in case we didn't find one) We stopped at two others before my wife told me to just head to this Best Western. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and very courteously. We were able to get the one thing we required - three adjoining rooms with two of them having a connecting door. Thank goodness the only room issue was in OUR (the adults) room. There was a wall light between the beds that had a short and tripped the breaker. A call to re front desk had maintenance there within two mins. After a few trial and error breaker resets (the breaker is located away from the room). The short was located and even though I saw the employee get shocked he maintained a happy and enjoyable mood. We were offered a different room but could not accept as it would have not allowed the room set up we desired or the family. We were fine with not having a lamp between the beds (we were only going to use one anyway) however a short time after we thought the situation was resolved the maintenance man was at our door with a new free standing lamp which he placed between the beds The Branson Trolly stops in the hotel parking lot, which made it easy for our two 17 year olds and the 15 year old to ride it down to the landing and shop by themselves. Later my wife and some of the kids rode it just to give the kids the experience and look at the decorations/lights. The kids age 6,3,1 all loved it and talked about it with me at length that night. The motel is clean the pool was refreshing, clean, and not busy at all. The best part is that it was located separate from the rooms so it was allowed to be used 24 hours a day The two teen boys said the workout facilities were nice as well. The staff member at breakfast was as friendly as all the others and very accommodating not just to us but to the whole room full of people. We were pleased with our families stay and will no longer look to stay at any other place in Branson

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Schwenn, Thank you for coming back to stay with us and for the great review. We are so glad that you brought your family and that we could accommodate all of you in adjoining rooms. Our staff works hard to make our guests feel like family and to help provide lasting memories. Thank you for your patience regarding the light. Sometimes we have minor issues and we will do anything we can to not let problems get in the way of your relaxation and family time. Please come back to see us very soon, we so much enjoyed seeing you again.

"Noise"

3
29/11/2015

This motel is on a busy street. Some of the cars and motorcycles going by are very loud all times of the day and night. The motel is old and very well used, the staff was unfriendly, and not very helpful for a tourist town. The rate was ok

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Guest, I'm so sorry we didn't provide the experience that we all feel you deserve here at our hotel. We are located conveniently on Main Street in Branson which puts our guests within walking distance of the Branson Landing, Historic Downtown and the Convention Center. But if you are a light sleeper, we suggest a room location on the back side of our main building where the road noise is not a problem. Our customer service is normally our strength and so it pains me to hear that you felt we were not helpful. We usually take the time to explain everything we can to help our guests enjoy Branson. We have hundreds of resources including maps, brochures and a service for ordering show tickets. We are staffed 24 hours a day and are eager to meet our guests' every need. I hope you will contact me and that we might have a chance to provide a great experience next time you are in town.

"handicap people"

3
25/11/2015

This motel is not recommended for handicap people. Difficult to get around parking lot on walker or wheelchair. Branson is not a handicap friendly town. Gilleys had no handicap parking. Dollys had alot but you had to get there 2 hrs early.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Guests, I'm sorry that you had some challenges getting around town while in Branson recently. Part of the beauty of the Ozark Mountains are the hills, but they do also present some problems. Here at our hotel, we do have some rooms that are situated next to relatively flat parking. And the great thing about our location is that we are next door to Historic Downtown Branson, the Branson Landing with the Polar Express Train-ride! But please do let us know if we can select a location that would better suit you next time you are in town to visit us.

"Breakfast was AWEFUL, Everything was ice cold."

1
20/11/2015

Hotel and staff were fine. Rooms were good as well. The only complaint was that the breakfast was the worst we have ever had. Food was all cold, eggs were ice cold and like rubber. Gravy was terrible and very cold. Told the front desk and all they had to say was hope you give us a try again. NEVER !!! To many other hotels in area that provides a good breakfast, that is warm and tasty.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
I'm so sorry about the cold food. Our complimentary breakfast is usually a strong area for our guests. We provide 4 hot items: Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and fresh waffles. I'm not sure which morning you were referring to, but we did have an usual morning where our normal breakfast person had an emergency and was unable to perform our normal set-up. Our staff pitched in and helped, but the food may have been set out later than you expected. I am so sorry if this was the day in question. Please contact me and we would love to have you stay with us again and enjoy our many free amenities the way they are generally provided.

"Downtown Branson hotel"

4
17/11/2015

We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Downtown Branson. The hotel it on the Main street and divided in two. We were in the Suites. The rooms have been updated and were relatively quiet. Breakfast was good. We were there during Veterans Day and the morning of Veterans Day - at 8 a.m. - a sweet gentlemen in full dress Marine uniform - played revelery! The hotel was full of veterans so it was extra special! Close to shopping!

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for staying with us during Veteran's Week. We have an ideal location for shopping just 4 blocks from the Branson Landing and Historic Downtown. However, it is Branson's commitment to honoring our veterans that makes that time of year special. And sharing the time with wonderful folks like you is special indeed!

"Not too shabby."

16/11/2015

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday. The location was amazing!!!! The parking was difficult. The road noise was terrible and the wall are really thin, so you can hear everything. I don't think I would have enjoyed this hotel if I had had my children. However, the staff was really really friendly and I enjoyed our stay. It was clean and our bed was comfortable and sometimes that's all a girl needs. :)

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thanks for staying with us and posting a nice review on tripadvisor. We do have rooms that are on level ground and convenient to the breakfast area and pool. When you come back to see us please let me know and we will try to set-up a location that would suit you better. Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback.

"Down town Branson"

4
12/11/2015

Hotel easy to find. Did not like room door enterance to outside. Hard walk up hill and outside from the room to breakfast room & pool. Room was small but clean and comfortable. a lamp in the room had a broken switch. had to plug in to use.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us. Part of the beauty of the Ozarks are the hills and vivid fall colors. But this does create some challenges to some folks on our hilly property. We do have level parking and easy access to rooms that are near the lobby, for your next trip. Please do come back to see us soon.

"Not the Hilton but nice"

3
10/11/2015

The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. We were there for the Polar Express on the landing, this hotel is close enough that we walked down the hill, coming back up was a little more difficult with little kids but we made it. There is a free trolly that can take you down but it quits running at 6 p.m.. It's convenient to everything. Breakfast was good they had biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal and yogurt.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We're so glad you could stay with us when taking your family to enjoy the Polar Express. We are just 4 blocks from the train, Branson Landing, Convention Center and Dick's Five and Ten. The free shuttle does run from 9am to 6pm and the cab services are very reasonable from the downtown area back to us. Please come back to see us again soon, we have the perfect location for anything folks want to do in Branson.

"Solid Hotel"

4
08/11/2015

We stayed here overnight when in town to bring our kiddo to the polar express train ride. It is located about 3 blocks from Branson landing- a super easy walk. Has a big pool for that is 3 ft deep the whole way across- so good for younger kids. Rooms are clean and spacious. Free breakfast in morning was very good with lots of different options. The staff at front desk were very nice. They were not very helpful in picking out local places to eat though. When we asked, they pointed us toward chain restaurants vs local places. Overall, solid hotel. We would stay again. Much cheaper than Hilton options 2 blocks away.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you so much for the nice review of our hotel. We have a stable staff that is dedicated to providing top notch cleanliness and service. Many families appreciate the pool as they can read a book while the kids swim and it is still safe. Plus we keep the pool open 24 hours so you can still enjoy a dip after a show or late supper. Please come back to see us, we so appreciated having your family stay with us.

We were so please with the location and things available for the guests. We love the breakfast and appreciated that bottled water was available for breakfast and the apples and bananas were available too. The work out room was sufficient for my workout.

Dear Karen L., We are so pleased that you found us on your recent trip to Branson. Our guests do appreciate our location, our staff and the many complimentary amenities we offer. We so enjoyed having you stay with us. Please do return soon as we love hosting such wonderful folks from the Northwest!

"First Time in Branson, MO"

25/10/2015

First time in Branson, Mo and the stay at Best Western Branson Landing was an enjoyable experience. General location of the facility was great in getting around Branson. Even the Free City Trolley bus stops in front of the hotel. Breakfast Menu was great and the coffee is always good at Best Western. Helpful and Professional staff assisted us several times. Highly Recommend

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear ErnestC, Thank you so much for your strong recommendation of our hotel. I'm so glad your first visit to Branson was a great experience. Our staff works hard to make sure all of our guests' needs are met. We do have the perfect location 4 blocks from the Landing, historic downtown and the convention center. And as you stated, we are situated away from the busy 76 traffic so our guests can access the theaters from the convenient side road system in Branson. Please do come back to see us, it was such a pleasure meeting you.

"Different but great stay"

4
23/10/2015

Had a coupon for this place so we stopped in to get a room. It is located almost in the middle of a hill. Front desk service was great, Chris was very friendly and answered questions we had about some attractions. Our room was in a separate building as the main hotel. Was a little leery of being there and exterior entrance room on the 3rd floor but had no problems the 2 nights we stayed. Room was clean and since that is major thing I want it suited us fine. Walked to some downtown stores to look around and had dinner at Farmhouse restaurant while there. Breakfast was usual hotel food, it was very busy but everything was kept filled and clean! Didn't use the pool but was told since it was a 3ft pool, it was open 24 hrs. If we travel to Branson again we would stay here again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
We're so glad you had a great stay with us! We are unique, but in a good way. Our location can't be beat, within walking distance of the Branson Landing, Convention Center and Historic Downtown Branson. We are a great value for the Downtown Area with a complimentary breakfast buffet that features 4 hot items, free wi-fi and a 24-hour indoor pool. Please come back to see us over the Christmas Break, we are just 4 Blocks from the Polar Express Train ride and host to great family Christmas fun.

"Misleading BW Plus, I think NOT!"

1
23/10/2015

Bldg sits on a hill, parking or navigating the lot difficult. You have to go outside to access the indoor pool. Toilet didn't work. Double room very small. Vanity no space. Needs a serious update. Carpet has cigarette burns. I appreciate all the towels but how about more than one hook to hang them on. Truly disappointed. I would not stay here again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Keyschick, As Branson is part of the Ozark Mountains almost every building is on a hillside. This is part of the beauty of the Ozarks, but it can create some challenges navigating at times. I also like to explain to folks that we have a wide variety of room types and we would love for you to try one of our spacious King Suites if you would care to contact me and arrange another visit. In any busy hotel, occasionally, toilets can malfunction, but we are staffed 24 hours and we are eager to resolve any issues to make your visit more pleasant with us. I hope you might consider calling me and coming back to see us. We serve thousands of guests every year that rave about our helpful staff and nice amenities.

"Great location, A+ staff!"

21/10/2015

This hotel was a great addition to our lovely time in Branson. The staff was very friendly, and the hot breakfast that was offered in the morning had a great variety. We loved the location, as it was very close to a great shopping area and local restaurants. Rooms were very clean as well. We will definitely be back!

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you Mary G. I am so glad that you and your family had a great trip to Branson and that we could be part of the experience. We do have a great staff from Housekeeping, to Maintenance, to the Front Desk folks. We are all dedicated to providing a relaxing and fun stay for our guests. We hope you will come back to see us very soon.

"Clean but Noisy"

4
13/10/2015

The hotel room was very clean and spacious. The concierge was kind and helpful and the continental breakfast was good. Waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, ect. Unfortunately we were placed in a room facing the highway. The cars were loud racing up and down the road so we didn't get much peace and quiet. I would stay here again if I was on the other side of the building.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Denali F., I'm so glad that you enjoyed so many aspects of our hotel. We have a great cleaning staff, generous complimentary breakfast, and our wide variety of rooms allows us to find something to suite most everyone. We do have many rooms on the other side of our main building that are nice and quiet. Please do come back to see us and let us know which room location would be best for you.

"There were bedbugs!"

1
12/10/2015

Do not stay at this hotel. I arrived late after an 18-hour day and just wanted to go to sleep. My room ended up being in one of the "out-buildings" at the back of the property, a veritable warren of rooms next to a burned-out building and some questionable neighbors that hung out their windows and watched me cross the parking lot. Already a little freaked out, I got to my room and looked around, mostly checking for cleanliness in the bathroom and getting a lay of the land. I pulled back the covers on the bed, and there were two BEDBUGS crawling across the sheets. I high-tailed it out of there and went to the front desk, and the response from the person at the front desk was "I've never had that happen before..." Well, it happened. Immediately when I got home, I threw away my suitcase and washed all of my clothes on high heat just in case I brought something home with me. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

jeffkeen, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Dear Lina S., I'm so sorry you didn't enjoy your visit with us. We're looking forward to the improvements we have planned regarding the building next door to us. We recently had the opportunity to purchase that property which had become a bit of an eye sore. We removed the ugly part of the property and will construct a nicer, useful area to enhance the experience for our guests. Regarding the bugs, we take this very seriously. We immediately had our trained staff strip that room down to "bare bones" and inspect for infestation. We held the room down and had a licensed epidemiologist inspect the next day and no infestation was found. In fairness, here in the Ozark Mountains, there are many other small critters around, but we have a monthly pest control program that does keep issues to a minimum. In any case, we do apologize that you had a bad experience and that you didn't stay with us in a different area of the property. Please let me know if we can ever be of assistance in the future.

"On a Hill"

We stayed there for 2 nights recently. The room was nice but bathroom small. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with any arrangements that I needed and I cannot say enough good about them. It is built on the side of a hill like many of the places in Branson so be ready to walk up hill at least one way if you venture out without a vehicle. The Wi-Fi did not work well for me at all but there are 3 computers in the lobby that are free and worked great. The breakfast was good but would have been better with grits.

Thank you for the very nice review and for your praise of our wonderful staff. So glad you enjoyed our generous complimentary breakfast and the great things to do within walking distance of our hotel. We have a free trolley that will now take our guests to the Branson Landing, Historic Downtown and the Convention Center. Please come back and see us if you are ever in Branson again.

Have stayed at this hotel several times. the rooms and beds are super comfortable and the staff is wonderful! The general manager is very involved with the property and does a great job of keeping things organized and up to date. Short walk to downtown Branson, Branson Landing, etc. If you don't want to walk, you can catch the free downtown trolley to get you around!

"Best Value for Area"

The convenience to the river and downtown area was an outstanding value. The access would be a bit challenging for anyone needing assistance. Street side rooms were a bit noisy because of traffic climbing a fairly steep hill a shot distance away.

Thank you for visiting us all the way from Silicon Valley. I'm glad you felt we were a good value for the Downtown Area. We are within walking distance of Historic Downtown, Branson Landing and the Convention Center, but provide complimentary Breakfast, free Wi-Fi, parking and a 24-hour pool. We do have rooms that help avoid the challenges of the hill and are on the quieter side of the building. Please let us know next time you stay with us and we can set-up exactly what you need.

The hotel is clean & comfortable. It is conveniently located close to the historic downtown and is a Trolly stop for transportation to area entertainment venues. 24-hour open pool is a nice feature. Rooms on street side are quite noisy due to traffic until late at night, rooms on parking lot side are muck quieter.

Thank you for the nice review. Because of the high praise you gave our hotel, I assume the "question marks" indicate that perhaps you couldn't remember our name. The BEST WESTERN Plus Landing View Inn and Suites is certainly a long title. I'm glad that you remembered our great staff, location and the 24-hour pool. We also have a great breakfast, free Wi-Fi and many other amenities. Please come back and see us again.

"Good Place to Stay"

This Best Western is in a good location and made it very easy to access everything in Branson. Was close to the river end of Branson and "old Branson" but the town contains lots of old and new shopping and dining. The "other" end of Branson was also easy to access but during peak season I think the traffic can be pretty horrific ~ it is a two way road. The room needed more electrical outlets for charging purposes.

So glad you found us to be a good place to stay. Many of our guests find our location to be just right. We are next door to Historic Downtown Branson, the Branson Landing and the Branson Convention Center. And now there is a free shuttle to all of these locations. At the same time, visitors can access the Entertainment District without getting caught in the bumper-to-bumper traffic. Thanks for coming to see us and I hope you can return soon.

"Above average"

Above average experience. 2 problems, wifi terrible. When I made the reservations asked for a convenient room as my wife is handicapped. We were given a room 8 doors from the opening to our level. Food was good, rooms clean but small. Parking lot sloped a lot

Thank you so much for visiting us all the way from Moscow! I'm glad your accommodations were above average and we hope you enjoyed Branson as you toured our country. One of the unique features of the Ozark Mountains are our beautiful Hills. This creates some challenges, however, we do have rooms that are easy to get to from the lobby and parking area. Please let us know when you may return and we will set up a locations perfect for you.
