The room was clean and the staff was amazing. The breakfast was better than your normal hotel hot breakfast with a good variety of things to choose from. Perfect location if you are there for a visit to BGSU!! Go Falcons!!

People are the most important aspect of any experience. The staff here went above and beyond. Breakfast was hot and the area was kept clean and the food replenished Nicely close to BGSU and the great historic downtown area.

This hotel is my first choice when I stay near BGSU. The location is convenient. The breakfast and service is outstanding. Also, the bed is so comfortable that I slept all night. I highly recommend this hotel.

Plenty of restaurants close by, easy access to the highway but construction means you must watch your signage very carefully. McDonalds is a short walk across the parking lot. Friendly and courteous staff, great breakfast.

Great price, service, and breakfasts. My one quibble: hotels need lighting sources for business travelers and book readers! Diffuse light is hard to work by when non-screen reading and writing is involved.

This is the second time I have stayed here since 2015 visiting family, friends, coworkers, and classmates when I fly up from Florida. They have the best breakfast and everyone is so helpful! I wouldn't stay anywhere else because their staff treats me like family.

Nice, clean, reasonably priced place to stay. Very friendly staff. Easy in and out to the interstate and surrounding. Great breakfast. What is not to like? We always stay here when visiting family in the area. We have a favorite room and have had it every time we called except one. I called at 4 pm for that evening and they couldn't quite pull that off. Had a funeral to attend and they graciously let us stay just a bit past checkout time before departure.

The manager was wonderful and immediately helped and had a plan for us when the A/C wasn't working in our room at first. She later offered us plates and utensils when we had food delivered, which we hadn't even thought of yet! And the BREAKFAST! Amazing. Lots of delicious hot and cold breakfast options, including biscuits and gravy, which I've never seen at another hotel! I was very satisfied with our experience.

Excellent stay. Highly recommend! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Room was clean. Staff was very responsive. Breakfast was really good with many options. Very convenient location near food, coffee, downtown and we were able to walk to the campus from the hotel. No elevator but was not an issue for us. Should take that into consideration if you have a hard time with stairs.

The staff here are the friendliest, most responsive, and the most polite I have ever met. the minor problem we had with our shower the first morning was fixed that day. the breakfast staff is extremely helpful (we even got a whole canister of decaf made for us 10 minutes before breakfast closing), and the front desk staff was wonderful and happy to offer us bottled water while we were waiting to check in and when we were leaving.

This hotel is convenient to everything in Bowling Green. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave you free bottles of water. We only had the coffee for breakfast; it was very good.

My husband and I met at BGSU (Falcon Flames) and haven't been back together for fun in over 30 years. We wanted to spend the evening in BG so we booked this hotel because the price was right and it was within walking distance of campus. We went to dinner and wandered around campus. The hotel was perfectly equipped for our stay, the service staff were very friendly and attentive, and the free breakfast was delightful--plenty of options and everything was delicious!

The physical appearance and ammenities at this hotel are top notch. What really makes it a great place to stay are the people. They are all so friendly and welcoming. From housekeeping to front desk everyone is there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They will all go the extra mile!

You won't find a better managed, clean,comfortable place to stay. The front counter staff, housekeeping, and breakfast quality all exceed expectations for a small hotel. If you are visiting Bowling Green you should always try to book here first.

Wonderful. Upon arrival we were greeted by Tony, a polite, pleasant, and professional gentleman. This encounter set the bar really high for everyone else at this property! The hotel itself is meticulously clean and debris free from parking lot to rooms. Our housekeeper Alyssa (I think) was very nice and set aside her duties to fulfill our requests for additional pillows. Very kind and helpful. This place is so quiet that I required a fan to sleep. Tony gave us a fan that I thought was named “Janet”; perfect. However, upon returning it the following morning, Janet was not the fan's name, but the lovely front desk attendant… maybe they were both named Janet though. Great place. Far exceeded my expectations for a hotel 3 times this price point! Seriously. Parenthetically, the breakfast area was tidy, well stocked, and maintained by a very nice woman. Fantastic.

My son and I were visiting the BGSU campus and this was a natural choice because it was only a few minutes away. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!

This Best Western is located right by BGSU. It is central to the main area of the campus which is very convenient. The hotel is typically very quiet. I was placed in a room right by the pool and the exercise room so at times it was a little loud, and above us it sounded as if it may have been a heavily travelled space, but other than that the hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. The internet is free, but I don't recommend using it to game or bringing your own roku stick or similar device as it buffered on me a lot. For work, it may be just fine! There are several entrances to the hotel, and there is parking throughout. There are a few handicap parking spaces on the right side next to the main entrance but I did not find others with correct signage and blue lines around the entire building. At times I had to walk a bit to the door closest to my room which as a disabled person was a bit frustrating!

Our family loves this hotel! We've stayed here every time there's a swim meet in town. It may be the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed at. It's budget friendly, and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!

I came in very late at night after driving all day. The front desk staff was so wonderful with accommodating my needs for a 1st floor room and accepting my 2 cats. They even offered me a cold bottle of water!

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel and friendly staff who work here. The room was spotless and our king size bed was super comfortable. When it comes to breakfast this hotel knows how to cook bacon properly meaning that it was crisp and well done. Can't wait to come back here again soon. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and kind. We were there for our daughter who was in hospice and her funeral. Even though hotel was full, they made sure we did not need to change rooms. The staff was very respectful of our time at the hotel.

Stayed one night recently on our way back from a trip to the Smokey Mountains. Conveniently located off the expressway. SUPURB breakfast and helpful friendly staff. Offered to let us park motercycle under the awning for added security. Beds are comfortable. Hotel was a little warm but the rooms were kept cold for sleeping. Would recommend.

staying here for a 6 day holiday in NW Ohio was just so very pleasant. Located right off the highway, close to shoping and restaurants made it ever so handy. The facilities were new and well maintained. I was traveling with a friend with mobility issues so the accessible room that had 2 beds was a HUGE win. THe breakfast on offer was a super start for the morning. good variety of choices and plenty of room to walk around. I'd stay here again

The hotel check in was great and very friendly , breakfast selection they had a lot to choose from. The only thing missing is laundry room but for the prize we spent 4 days there it was great will be back again.

We had reservations at a competitor down the road until they canceled on us the night of. The Best Western had one room available and was great to work with. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff opened early for us due to having a soccer tournament early. Amazing team!

Standard chain hotel king room. I wish I had been told when I made the reservation that since there was no elevator, did I want to request a first floor room. This is an important piece of information for seniors and others with mobility issues.

Great location s it relates to Bowling Green State University. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Better than many Marriott or Hilton hotels that I've stayed in. Staff was extremely helpful, professional, and polite.

Overall my stay was good. Room was clean, everything functioned as it should. My only issue was the beds. The beds in my room were not great. To me they felt like they needed replaced. They were very hard and rolling over it felt like i was rolling uphill out over a large bump in the middle of the bed. Aside from that, staff was great, fitness room and hot tub was great. Breakfast was good and always plenty there and plenty to pick from.

I was on a business trip that required me to be close to the customers house. There were a few choices but this place had some better reviews. Booked the room here and it was perfect for what i needed. Quiet, clean and everything in my room worked.

I had low expectations going in. The front desk personnel were fabulous and the room was great. We were there with a baseball team, therefore we wished there was a pool and more waffle mix ready for breakfast, but overall for the price, this was a great choice.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly. They even hooked me up with a room with a jacuzzi. The staff was very helpful in helping me replace my key three times. (I really don't know how I lost it that many times). The room was clean except the dresser had crumbs on top. Breakfast had a lot of choices between hot food and cold. They had a nice workout room and a public jacuzzi. Easy check in and out process.

The bed too hard and too high to get into. I had to crawl up onto the bed. Four pillows on each bed was way too many and the pillows were to big and uncomfortable to sleep on. I was nice to have a frig in the room to hold snacks and left over meals. The breakfast was very good, large variety and well stocked and served by gracious staff members.

We've stayed here many times while visiting our daughter at BGSU, have always had a great experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the breakfast is one of the better ones I've been to at a hotel, the rooms are always clean. My only complaint is that the beds are a little bit firm for me but the rest of my family do not complain. The thing that really makes this hotel stand out are the people who work there.

Traveling cross country and stayed at many hotels. This one was top notch! Staff were more than helpful and selection at breakfast was phenomenal! I was even offered a bottle of water for the road when I checked out.

We have been coming here for 10 years. Staff is friendly attentive and goes out of their way to make sure everything is satisfactory from setting up the meeting room, to offering restaurant recommendations. We have NEVER been disappointed:)

Look for another hotel or stay in another room. The room was clean and the cleaning and breakfast staff were great even the upon check the young man who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. But upon checkout the person knew of the existing problem and that really was disappointing.

This really was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at. Every area we used was pristine hallways, our room, spa, front desk and breakfast area. They have several choices for breakfast, waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, several types of juice, milk, coffee, tea and many more choices. The spa was nice and relaxing after a long drive. We had dinner at a restaurant just a few blocks away. It was delicious Mexican food.

When visiting Bowling Green, this hotel the best location BY FAR!! It is located directly across the street from campus and walkable to downtown area. Check in was very easy and the room we had was clean and well stocked with essentials. Stay Here when in BG!!

I had every thing as I have expected in a motel stay. I spent two nights, every one was very cheerful, breakfast was very excellent, check-in-out procedures are very easy and simple. This one of the best motel experiences in my life.

From Tony, who assisted us with checking in on Saturday, to the cleaning staff that provided us with an extremely clean and sanitized room, to the breakfast server on Sunday morning. and concluding on Sunday with our checkout by a wonderful staff person, we had a great experience at the Best Western Falcon Plaza hotel in Bowiling Green, Ohio. It is certainly apparent that the work ethic and personality of General Manager Todd McGee has been contagious throughout this Best Western facility. Its hard to find this committment to hotel guests in 2022, but its here and visable...in Bowling Green, Ohio!

Falcon Plaza is a comfortable, very affordable hotel, across the street from BGSU and within walking distance of the ice and basketball arenas, and the football stadium. Rooms are comfy and extremely clean. The breakfast has fresh brewed coffee, a rarity in hotels of late, as well as a good variety of other foods.

I would definitely recommend this hotel! Exceptionally clean and nice rooms and friendly staff! Very comfortable accommodations! We were there to move our son to the area for work, and everyone was so welcoming and helpful!

Stayed one night coming from football game in Cleveland,Staff was extremely helpful at check in and room was the cleanest I have ever stayed in! I was told about fitness room and other resources that th e hotel has to offer.

Upon arrival I was informed that guy was upgraded from an outside room to an inside room with a king bed and a Jacuzzi hot tub in the room. This was a very nice surprise. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The staff was extremely pleasant. I will definitely stay here again

When we visit family in the area this is our 'home away from home'. it is always up to standard. We have never had a problem here and they always try to get us our favorite room. Breakfast is great. We were in Bowling Green this past weekend and stayed at the Best Western. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by an incredibly kind and courteous front desk. Check-in was swift, our room was spotless, breakfast was hot and delish, beds were comfortable, tons of channel options on the TV (several options for kids!) It was a really great experience and budget friendly! Total win and will be our go to hotel anytime we're in the area.

Located directly across from BGSU campus, this Best Western is very clean, quiet, convenient and has a very friendly staff. Breakfast is included and they offer a nice variety and small seating area. We were offered waters, coffee or tea at check in and check out and had a pleasant experience. We will return!

Great hotel. I was here for one night for the Solheim Cup. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was nice. Staff gave me a muffin and granola bar since I was leaving too early for the breakfast that begins at 7:00 on the weekend. Would stay here again if I am ever in the area!

My experience at this hotel was excellent I have no complaints the staff was all nice and polite, the room we had was clean, our room was nice size and Roomy ,beds were comfortable excellent pillows ,the breakfast was good ,location was OK for what we wanted to do,not far from shopping if we wanted to do so.

Maybe the title of this review sounds like hyperbole- I promise you, it isn't. My husband and I are both Bowling Green grads, so we get back to the area at least once most every year. We always check for avails at the Falcon Plaza before we look anywhere else; BG is no longer a two-motel town (hardly!) and there are many, very nice options available thanks to well-known national brands. But for the extra $ you're going to spend with those "Hil" and "Mar"-branded hotels, unless you're desperate for a hotel with a pool or you simply can't tolerate solidly '80's decor, you're wasting your money to stay anywhere else. Seriously. (Plus, their free breakfast was amazing!)

The BGSU decor makes you feel that you are still part of the campus! But what's better is the staff they make you feel like you are family! Janet is the best and I will be back in the future! Go falcons

I just received a very warm welcome upon entering this hotel today. I had traveled for many hours from the East Coast and was extremely tired when I approach the front desk. Janet introduced herself to me and was able to get me into a room sooner than the normal check in time which made me very grateful. The hotel room is extremely clean and comfortable with many good amenities. I would highly recommend staying here and when you do please make sure to come in and ask for Janet. Her kindness really made the difference in my stay. Theresa

We traveled to Bowling Green to move our daughter onto campus At BGSU. We rented the family room and really enjoyed having all of the extra space. The staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was what you would expect from a typical motel breakfast bar. If you are visiting Bowling Green State University The location of this motel is perfect, just across the street from the sports facilities, several campus dorms and buildings. Nothing fancy but clean, well kept and good service.

I frequent the Best Western Falcon Plaza in Bowling Green Ohio for business a few times a month. The customer service I have been receiving needs much improvement. Primary issues are with the front desk and front desk management. Multiple occasions where they are slow to help and extremely rude when they do. The staff lacks the customer service and hospitality aspect of their job. I highly recommend further training for the front desk staff. I will no longer indorse this Hotel to any of my close family and/or friends. I myself will no longer stay at this Hotel or any Best Westerns or their respective brands.

Stayed 2 nights and would stay again when in the area. Overall a clean, quiet place to stay for us. Very nice staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Breakfast had several options and was pretty good.

The Falcon Plaza is a very clean hotel with great staff who took care of any issues we had (key card quite working). Only thing against this hotel is no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, request a first floor room. Otherwise, you can get your exercise in while there going up and down stairs. the room was clean and staff came in and refreshed our towels, and made the beds even though we didn't expect them to do to COVID protocols and requesting services.

I truly expected for the price I paid that we would get some kind of relaxation. Negative! We heard every conversation that was held in the hallway and outside in the parking lot. Not to mention the heavy walkers in the room above us. I didnt even have to bother with an alarm clock to wake up due to everyone coming down for breakfast.

Will definitely stay again! Tony, Nicole & the front desk am gal (sorry didn't get her name!) we're super friendly, helpful! Explained amenities of hotel. Internet worked great no issues. Room was very nice beds, showers, chairs, tv etc. only thing we missed was a view! Good breakfast! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage for us. Even packaged danish was fresh! We were traveling I 80W but we'll take the 12-15min drive down I 75 to go to this hotel! Our new stopping point if we're going this way!

Staff was very nice and helpful! Room was very clean and comfortable and hotel is located close to food choices and campus! I only stayed for one night but everything was smooth sailing with check in and check out. Will be staying here again in September!

It was nice to finally stay in an inexpensive hotel that was staffed with professionals, had a great breakfast and was kept in a very high standard! Found a great price on Priceline and was not disappointed.

Everything you need to enjoy a one night stay. Comfy bed, hot shower, excellent breakfast, and cheerful staff. Although the whirlpool was only working at half speed, at least it was operating and staff said the part needed to get if fully running was in shipment.

Jacuzzi was a nice extra. Comfortable bed and great amenities. Quiet area. TV could have been bigger. Great channel selection. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. A little bit far from Route 80 though worth the extra miles.

We stayed here when my daughter had a swim meet at BGSU. The hotel was really nice and close to the pool. Very convenient to everything. Within walking distance to many restaurants etc.. Staff was excellent and made you feel welcome.

The hotel was very well maintained and filled with a nice and courteous staff. I noticed their efforts to make improvements to the decor in both the lobby and in my room at least. The options for carry out “grab and go” breakfast won't please everyone BUT we were very happy. The experience was very positive.

Our team stayed here for 1 night during our conference tournament. The team did a great job of meeting our group's needs. We didn't utilize the complimentary breakfast other than for coffee but that limited experience was good. There aren't any elevators in the building but other than that everything was great for our short trip. Rooms were clean and the rest of the spaces were well-taken care of.

I was there for an overnight stay for a swim meet. From the moment my daughter and I walked in we were treated with kindness. They offered us coffee and water while we were checked in. We asked for a late check out and was granted that. I had no where to go while the meet was going on. The staff graciously allowed me to stay in the lobby, work on the computer, charge my phone and watch TV. I was offered coffee and was treated with kindness. The staff made me feel so welcome! I will come back and stay here again.

This hotel is top rate, and exceeded my expectations. The room was fantastic, nice bed, sheets and pillows were soft and cozy. The hotel had by far the cleanest parking lot, and surrounding area, I have ever seen, no trash, or debris ANYWHERE... There is no elevator so pack light....Enjoy your self in the spa, and workout room. I will stay there again when I'm back in the area. .

Not the cheapest hotel in Bowling Green, but it is fairly priced for all of the amenities they offer. Was a much better destination before COVID-19. But it is exceptionally clean. Stay away during graduation season...

This hotel was a steal for the price. Normally with prices like that you'd expect a sort of run down hotel but this hotel felt like a luxury hotel. I vacationed here at the town I actually live in but it felt like I was hours away. The room was excellent as well as the staff. They offered us a free hour with checkout so we didn't have to rush around in the morning to leave. The room felt luxurious. We had two sinks which is perfect for couples. They really pay attention to the small details here.

The Staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. We stayed for 2 nights as we visited 5 colleges in the area. When you are out of town and eating carry out for every meal, it's really important for our family to have a refrigerator and microwave come standard in hotel room for leftovers. Best Western has become my new number one choice for hotels thanks to the great Staff at Bowling Green, Ohio!

We stayed here based on TA reviews, and when checking in noted that this place had been named a top 5% in quality for all Best Westerns. Easy checking, parking near the room, outside door secure with entry via keycard. Location near downtown, and mile or so off the interstate, near the University. Room was nice, bed was good, nice and quiet, good older bathroom....towels and hot water were plentiful. Typical "free" breakfast, with a very nice woman doing the serving. Perfectly OK stay.....would recommend for a budget lodging.

I booked a suite-style room at this hotel so that I could enjoy my weekend with my family and a couple friends. When I went to check-in, the front desk staff woman was VERY unprofessional and rude to me, simply because she had noticed that I had just recently turned 21. She automatically assumed that we would be loud and unruly in the room, when this was not any of our intentions at all. I tried to explain this and she continued to be very rude to me. I can not justify ever staying at this place again when the front desk staff treated me so poorly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is okay. A bit shabby and overpriced but what can you do in a small town? I've stayed here twice before with no problem. This time, I awoke at 3 am to the chirping of a dying battery. It was not the fire alarm. Couldn't figure what it was so called the front desk. After seven or so rings, the phone was answered by an overly-friendly, chatty person who finally agreed he would come to my room to investigate. He showed up and started chatting about what he was doing. I tried to stay disinterested and sleepy. His narration concluded that there was a hidden CO2 detector whose battery was dying. He left the battery in, chirping, because it was “Illegal” to remove the device from the room. I removed the batteries after he left to fetch new batteries because it was so obnoxious. He returned to continue his animated discussion while he replaced the batteries. I just wanted to get back to sleep. The clerk was a jerk and wanted to discuss the whole situation while I just wanted him to fix it, shut up and leave. He finally left at 3:44 am. Of course I could not get back to sleep. I said the honorable thing was to comp the room and give me a full refund. When I checked out I was told I would get a minuscule discount. I will never stay at this place again. I encourage everyone else to avoid this place as well.

Check in was speedy, Desk clerk friendly and congenial. Overall a very good hotel experience. conviently located near many food establishments. Would highly recommend this hotel to others traveling to the Bowling Green area.

Traveling on a motorcycle, having a comfortable place to stay is a definite plus. A firm mattress meant no sore back in the morning. Friendly staff who gave an excellent recommendation on where to get dinner. Very clean and well appointed room. Even had a coffee bar in the room. (Too bad I don't drink coffee.)

3 weeks ago on Google 3/5 Spent the night of March 1 2020. Got home and realized we had left behind a item. Called the hotel and they told me that the maid had found the item. They offered to mail it. I gave them my credit card number to cover shipping costs. Assured the item would go out the next day. When it didn't arrive after two weeks, I called. Told to leave my number and the person responsible (I have her name) would fall me back. It is now two months later and I have neither the item or the courtesy of a phone call from anyone in management. This silence in spite of my calling four times, leaving my name and number, and hearing nothing. I regret taking to a public forum to air my grievances but the more conventional process is not working. Trip typeBusiness

I can't speak to the quality of the hotel (although, it looks nice online), but the hotel staff is amazing. They went above and beyond in canceling a nonrefundable reservation that was in less than 24 hours without hassle. I will definitely be staying here when I visit Bowling Green next!

Everything was clean, new and in working order. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The front desk people were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It was very quiet in our room. We would stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and saw how upgraded the lobby was and hoped the rooms were also up to par. I called hoping that I could check in early and was able to. When I got up stairs prior to leaving to explore my old college stomping grounds, I was impressed with the renovations made, the room was spacious for a typical room and the bed was comfortable. I also liked that there was a mini microwave and fridge in the room as well. Additionally, food always makes me happy lol and to see the variety offered for breakfast coupled with the cleanliness of the overall dining space, I know that I will be back! If I had to be picky, I would say it would've been nice to have an elevator but I was not that mad as I actually enjoy getting my steps in. Definitely a great experience!

This was a very wonderful hotel. It was very clean, our room was very nice (2 queen beds) and the bathroom had two sinks as well. It had a microwave and a nice mini fridge tucked into the furniture so you wouldn't even notice them if you were just looking at the room. The staff were very friendly and knew a lot about the restaurants and entertainment that were available to us. It was a great pleasure staying here and we will be coming back in the future. This is a great place to stay! The employees are helpful, especially Janet. Cookies and mints provided at the front desk, along with complimentary drinks. There is an area with guest computers. The breakfast is hot - eggs, sausage and bacon, plus many other items.

As hotels go, and I've stayed in a few! There's really nice hotel's all the way to poop hole! This hotel is in the middle, meaning that it is an older hotel, that has been remodeled. It's ok, now its clean! They offer a great complementary breakfast! It's actually good . The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are spacious. Not sure about the price ? So if you're just passing through and need clean, but nothing fancy, this is not a bad place to start.

The staff was amazing. Very friendly and quick to help when you asked for anything. They did mix up my room and gave me a smaller room, I used the hotel to get ready for my wedding. The manager opened the conference room for my bridal party and I to use since we were spread out in different rooms. Clean, quiet, up to date. Hot breakfast with a big variety to choose from.

We stay here every time we are in town to visit family. This is the best we have found in the area. It is a good value and breakfast puts it solidly at #1. They will have to work to run us off. We even have a favorite room and they always try to accommodate us when we make reservations. Two thumbs up!

We drove up without a reservation and got a great king-size room, that was the size of a suite. Very comfortable room, very quiet. We had the best night's sleep that we've had in a long time. The breakfast was the customary fare, but it was adequate to sustain us for the entire day. The front office people were very friendly and pleansant. There aren't too many eating places in the neighbourhood. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Great BGSU location. Big rooms with fridge and microwave. Most rooms have doors that can close off bathroom area from beds, an old charm that was kept when remodeled. Nice. When others still sleeping. Safe area so even rooms with outdoor entry are just as good and actually more quiet.

We requested our room online. I asked for first floor near the hot tub. That's exactly what we got - our room was right across from the hot tub! YAY! Convenient locatiion to the hwy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Quiet. Near an exit door where we were parked. Breakfast was very nice with lots of variety. We will definitely stay there again if in the area!

This is a very Nice hotel to stay at. Lots of eating establishments close by and some within easy walking distance. This is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

King suite was beautiful, plenty of outlets (rare!), and you could actually see things because the light bulbs were strong enough (again, rare!). I told the lady as we checked out that I wanted to move in!

I don't think I've ever stayed at a better maintained hotel. I could find nothing to complain about. Nothing. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean. There were lots of places to eat nearby, and it is located within a mile of I-75.

We stay here twice a year when dropping or picking up our kids at BGSU. The facility is always clean and the staff always welcoming. Campus is easily accessible as are all of the popular businesses of Bowling Green. Easy access to the highway makes this a convenient stop. The rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. The BGSU spirit is alive throughout the property.

The staff was friendly and efficient. Everyone seemed to know their job well. The room was very clean and the bathroom had plenty of towels. We greatly enjoyed the free breakfast. The breakfast area was kept clean and filled with many choices of food to eat. And, the coffee was piping hot! The location was near everything we needed. I appreciated the fact that our room had an exterior door so that we could take our dogs outside as needed. The hotel also did not expect a pay in advance fee for the dogs. Great experience

From beginning to end, wonderful stay. Breakfast was so good. All staff especially front desk, were professional and accommodating. The room was clean,well furnished, and comfy beds. We stayes for 6 nights for my daughter to be at STEM camp. Had a suite which was great. Great breakfast with so much variety and the best customer service experience I have ever had at a hotel! Shower issue was fixed immediately!

I visited BGSU recently on a trip to see family in Ohio and do some genealogical research. As an alumnus I wanted to stay close to campus but at a clean, comfortable and quiet place. This was perfect! The room was immaculate, the staff like family, especially Mr. Bishop, the hands-on owner who makes the place so inviting. His staff is large for a small hotel, but the result is a clean, well run, efficient and enjoyable place to stay that is several notches above a normal chain hotel and takes you back to the type of service that has been lost along the way at most other places. I enjoyed the best free breakfast of any stay on my trip, which has been mostly at Hampton Inns. I will look for a Best Western again that is family owned like this one in the future. What a great place! And it's right across the street from the Alumni Center and the open field where Harshman Hall used to stand. Harshman and Rogers Hall both are gone (boo!) so I hope this place hangs on for a long time.

We had a pleasant experience at Falcon Plaza Best Western! The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful. Our room was right down the hall from the whirlpool room. We made many trips to it and enjoyed the location! It was a quick stay to see family, one night. We really enjoyed the hot breakfast with many options! And they offered grab and go snacks! Wonderful hotel; Awesome experience!

Loved the Best Western Falcon Plaza. Our room was very clean and tidy. I appreciated the shower, especially since you never know what to expect; I've been to some other hotels where the shower is just lame and the water trickles out but the shower here was perfect and I just wanted to stay in it!!

This hotel is just OK. The check in was fine and the staff courteous. The room was OK but nothing to write home about. The price I got was more than I wanted to spend and certainly more than I am used to posting at a Best Western but it seemed comparable to others in the area. For a 1 night stay on the way to another destination this was fine.

Wow - interstate traveling & thought going to this hotel would be out of the way & it was only one star. But, only place we could find a room. What a great surprise. This place is awesome!! It is one star because there is no pool or elevator. It is immaculate, breakfast was tasty and the staff (specifically Clark) could teach grand hotels how to treat a guest. My bike buddies and i loved this place.

Newly renovated. Especially good location off I75. Across the street from BGSU. Many good restaurants nearby. The breakfast was above average with the best scrambled eggs ever at a motel breakfast buffet. Clean and comfortable accommodations

The staff was extremely helpful. The key didn't work at first, so the gentleman at the desk walked with us to ensure it worked properly after he reactivated the card. Every time we passed the front desk, we were greeted by whomever was there. The room was very clean and cool when we arrived. We had plenty of towels. The bed are very firm. The pillows were fluffy. We appreciated having two sinks so that we could get ready arty the same time. The shower was wonderful. The water pressure felt great to help wake us up for an early, full day at BGSU. Because there were many of us that were attending BGSU SOAR, they started breakfast early for us on a Saturday. Thank you so much for that. It was really great to be able to get some protein in our bellies to start the day. The whirlpool was nice. We will stay here again!

Just stayed here on our way to Williamsburg, VA, it is a short walk away from anything you want to do, the room was very clean and the breakfast was great. Have stayed at a lot of BW over the years, this one would rate one of the Best. Will stay there again if the chance takes us close to Bowling Green

Best Western has done a great job renovating this hotel! We stayed here overnight for a swim meet on campus and could not be happier. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and a good breakfast in the morning which was complementary! We lucked out with a queen suite so we had a kitchen and a separate living area and separate bedroom. All for a little over $100! Great hotel, and we will stay here again

Great location across street from Bowling Green State University short walk to Stroh Center walking distance to restaurants. Next to McDonald's open 24 hours very quiet 5 minute drive to Main Street bars and restaurants. Most rooms have outside entrances some have inside entrances clean and quiet.

Although I have stayed at several good Best Western outlets, this is, by far, the best. Everything, from the staff to the mattresses, is top notch. There are several choices in lodging when visiting Bowling Green, Ohio. BE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE BEST WESTERN FALCON PLAZA. You won't be disappointed.

Overall: great place if visiting the university, especially on a budget. The university is directly across the street, and this hotel is half the price of the hilton and marriott options. Positives: clean rooms/no smoke smell rooms have microwave an fridge nice shampoo and conditioner and lotion (small thing but it was unusually good quality) pretty quiet as long as you don't get one of only a few rooms right next to the road easy free parking staff and cleaning crew is helpful and friendly there is free breakfast pool and spa a few restaurants within walking distance Negatives Rooms are on the smaller side, not terrible but not spacious lots of the rooms have doors facing the outside, which just is never as nice or quiet.

This is an older hotel that has some internal and some external rooms. There have been upgrades which does help the property. We had a standard queen internal room. It was larger than a typical standard and had a sleeper sofa and desk area. The room was older, but clean and had a newer bathroom. We liked having the extra space to stretch out. There is no pool, but there is a large indoor whirlpool that appears to be relatively new. It is very nice for stiff muscles after a long drive. At the check in desk were some cookies. There is also a coffee/hot water station. Staff members were very friendly. Breakfast was nice. There was a Waffle iron, Scrambled eggs, Bacon and sausage patties, Whole wrapped pastries, Breads for toasting, and cereals. In the small fridge were Hard boiled eggs, Cheese slices, milk, and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches you could microwave if you needed something on the go. Please note: The hotel consists of two floors, but there are no elevators. If anyone in your party has mobility issues or you have lots of luggage with you, you may need to request a first floor room. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would return.

We go here twice a year for a soccer tournament and LOVE the staff and hotel. They go out of their way to help us every time including reserving the meeting room for us before we even ask. I think they can read minds:). Clark, Kimberly, Nichole, Kayla you all ROCK!

The hotel is an older one but definitely needs to be remodelled completely. No pool and has a spa. Nothing to do for kids in the area. Bfast was plain and boring. Expect more when paying $150 a night.

My family and I stayed here each way to/from Spring Break. Clark checked us in both times and was a fountain of information for us to find food and a playground for the kids to burn off the back-seat energy they had stored up. Janet checked us out the second time and was so personable that I felt like we were leaving a relatives house. Great employees make for a great stay in my book! Breakfast was fine for us, but I could eat a BW waffle every day of my life and be happy. You'll see us again if we ever find ourselves in that neck of the woods again.

This is the second time I stayed at this property. It appears to be a little older property but is well maintained and clean. Breakfast lacks diversity, a host and a bigger room. Parking is a bit scary

We stayed at this Best Western just for an overnight stay. What a nice hotel! We did use our points but this is our choice now for the Toledo area. From Check in to Check out it was wonderful. Breakfast was nice, rooms clean. There is no pool which would have made it nicer. There is a hot tub/jacuzzi . It was very small and we stayed away in case anyone else came in

The Best Western Falcon Plaza is my choice when in BG. This is not the newest and fanciest hotel, but the associates are friendly and make me feel welcome. It is located close to campus and has both inside and outside room options. The free breakfast is always quality with many options.

I was surprised by how affordable our stay was. The high-speed internet, breakfast bar, coffee bar, and staff was great! Next time we plan on bringing our swim suits to enjoy the hot tub. The location is within walking distance to the amazing BG downtown nightlife.

I stay here when weather would block my work commute. They are very accommodating. The rooms are clean, the desk people are helpful and the breakfast is terrific. There is a microwave and a fridge in the room--helpful if you're cheap and snowbound . . .

Check in was very fast and super friendly. Kimberly was most gracious and helpful. The room itself was well appointed, very clean and spacious. The room includes a desk, refrigerator, microwave and free wifi. A good deal for the money.

The hotel was very clean and all of the staff were very helpful and gracious. It was convenient to the university as well as numerous restaraunts. The breakfast that is included in the price is very good with a lot of options to choose from.

Because this is the oldest property in town, it is the most competitively priced. That said, it continues to be renovated, updated, and is overall very well-appointed. Compared to the other properties in town, it is very good vlaue for money. It is also most conveniently located to the university.

After a horrible night previously in Georgia at a competition we wanted a clean comfortable night. We got that and so much more. Clark was at the desk and so helpful cheery and informative. He was great. Clean and comfortable was evident everywhere. I highly recommend this and will return if I am going by. Thanks Clark!

Probably the best BW we have stayed in. Everything was perfect helped by the complementary upgrade to a suite. Great service, breakfast. Decent fitness centre. I broke a bottle on the way to my room and the cheerful staff had it cleared up before I reached the room

Nice hotel. Pricey I thought but it was a college town on a Saturday night with hockey games and Halloween coming up. I just needed somewhere to sleep and didn't want to look any further. Room was nice, lots of sports channels on the TV and a good breakfast. And it was only a mile to my destination.

I stay at this Best Western for work and I have had nothing bad to say about the hotel what so ever. I checked in on 10/30/18 with my co-worker who had never been here. The desk clerk Barry was very accommodating to my co-worker making sure he knew were everything was and what time Breakfast started and ended. Made sure he knew where the vending machine was and the exercise room and hot tub. He exceeded my expectation and it was very nice to see someone go out of their way to make him feel comfortable. Great job Barry

Another enjoyable family visit w/ my boyfriend, sister, aunt & uncle & their dog all visiting my uncle who liver in a nursing home in bg. we all stayed at bw - it was great! we will always stay at bw in bg.

We were in town for an all day/night event at the University. We arrived hungry, with not a lot of time to spare, and we knew we were going to have a late night. The staff offered a late check out, and was quick to check us in and recommend a neighboring burger place (BG Burgers) which was fast and very tasty! On check out the next day, they were so friendly, making sure we had enough time to do what we needed before our road trip home. Even offered us water bottles to stay hydrated!! Excellent service. Nice and comfortable hotel, in easy walking distance to the University. If we are in Bowling Green again, this is where we will stay!

We spent comfortable night here. We had 2 rooms both were spacious and clean. Nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable as well as the pillows all 4 of slept very well. The bathroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels. We also had a breakfast with the room which had a wonderful selections of things to eat and drink that were hot and cold. I will stay at this Best Western and try others now.

This hotel is closer to Wooster Ave. than the other hotels. The bed was super comfortable. The room had ample space and I love the sink area separate from the shower/commode area. The breakfast offered a wide variety and the attendant was very helpful.

If you are visiting someone at BGSU, this is the place to stay. Rooms might be a little dated, but clean, big, and with very comfortable beds. Breakfast is a huge plus. Good parking and very friendly staff.

I have stayed in many Best Western hotels and considering I only stay in 4 star+ properties, I was quite disappointed at the cleanliness of this room. It was filthy! Could not sleep in dirty sheets. Didn't appearto have been cleaned at all.

This hotel is closest to the campus and we've stayed here several times. The staff is always very professional and accomodating. The rooms are clean and the parking lot is secure. Be sure to ask for the BGSU Parent Discount!

We were here for our father's memorial service. My sisters and I were able to spend time in the lobby with our family using the computers and printers, our own computers and devices to finalize details for the gathering. We each had comfortable rooms, breakfast and coffee and water avaiable all day. When we forgot something the staff assisted us with anything we asked for with a smile. The mark down on value was only because the rates were higher this week due to the Tractor Pull. We understand during special events rates are going to be higher. We would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to come to town. It's very convenient to the university and nothing in BG is very far away. Thanks to the friendly staff who helped make a difficult time easier for us.

I travel fairly often for business and in the last 12 months have been in most sections of the US. If I possibly can, I try to stay at BWs. My stays at the Best Western Falcon Plaza are, by far, the best experiences I have had at a BW or any other comparable hotel/motel. I have been staying at this specific BW on and off for two years now and have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff is the best thing about this place!

My boyfriend and I received the best quality service by Larry. We called around 3 am wanting a room for the night and he really helped us out! Super great guy and clean rooms as well. Price for the night was amazing! Hotel staff was awesome. They gave us complimentary waters upon checking out! 10/10 would recommend!

This was a clean hotel and rooms were nice. The free breakfast was perfect before going to the amusement park cedar point. The location is grand with children your right beside mc Donald's there is no pool but hot tub.

If you ever want a room that is always fresh and clean with all the amenities, a friendly staff and excellent breakfast, this is the place! It is close to many restaurants, two major highways and, of course, my family who we travel home at least once a year to see. We can always count on getting the best service and a friendly hello!

Bed was a bit too firm for me. The room was clean and up-to-date. The bathroom was in good condition and clean. Counter in the bathroom was low. Kids should have no trouble brushing their teeth. McDonalds next to the hotel so popping over for a quick coffee was easy in the AM.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were larger than expected especially after staying at a different Best Western the night before. No pool, but the hit tub was wonderful. Pool area clean. Breakfast was delicious, and in a large area with room to walk, not everyone on top of each other. Farther away then expected from where we were going, but well worth it.

Best Western has been recently updated. So everything is nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. I felt safe in this hotel. The lobby and breakfast area were modern and clean as well. Best Western at BGSU is as good as offerings as the other name brands in the area and at a greater value. The only thing it is missing is a laundry facility, but Bowling Green does have a nice clean one down the street.

We were so impressed with this Best Western location. The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Upon us asking if a free upgrade was possible, she gave us a family suite. We've never stayed in a Best Western family suite so we didn't know what to expect, but I can assure you that this room surpassed any we may have formed. The room was huge, really two full size rooms together, with one converted to a living room/kitchenette and the other large enough for two queen beds, a large bathroom and tons of slope space. Even the little things were great: like an AC unit that ran continuously and quietly and curtains that actually blocked out the morning light. Furthermore, we were shocked to discover when we left the next morning that at least 6 pieces of excavating equipment had been working across the street for hours...we hadn't heard a thing in our room. We would highly recommend checking out this Best Western location.

The hotel was beautiful inside. Very modern and tastefully decorated. There is a huge water feature in the lobby. Our room was very large, the bed was very comfortable, the sheets 100% cotton, and the bathroom was nice. There was even a sink and well lit mirror outside of the bathroom which was useful for putting on makeup while my husband was in the shower. The breakfast was great - waffle station, bacon, sausage, eggs, cereal, bagels, muffins, yogurt, and a choice of breakfast beverages. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Really great hotel. We slept very well.

All the staff were kind and courteous. The room was beyond what I expected. It was very roomy. The breakfast, while typical, was fresh and delicious. Again, 5 stars and keep up the great customer service.

My husband noticed every time we walked in the hallway, if a staff member was there, they stepped to the side to allow us to pass. Simply respectful and you were noticed! Thank you!

Nice hotel! In the middle of a two day trip home after vacation, we found ourselves kinda stranded at our normal 1/2 way point. Did a little search, and found this gem. We called from the road, and they were able to accommodate us. Stayed for five days. Staff was great, room was affordable and comfortable. Sheets were amazing. The only problem was the fitness area. It faced the hot tub. As you worked out you were staring right at the people enjoying a soak.

We've stayed here off and on for several years as our big kids attended the University. This was our last students graduation. There's free breakfast, walking distance to everything worth seeing, updated rooms, over the top staff, free cable, clean, clean, clean! Would recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Falcon Plaza recently. The decor has obviously been recently updated, and it was comfortable and welcoming. The room was quite adequate. Breakfast was a real treat - hot and fresh, with a variety of items available. It is about a mile from downtown (but a very easy drive) and right across from the Bowling Green State University. I'll stay again!

This marked the 4th time my family has stayed at the Best Western Falcon Plaza. Our son is a student at BGSU and the hotel's proximity to campus makes it one of the most convenient places to stay. The interior of the hotel was recently upgraded and looks great. The front desk staff has always been welcoming and helpful. The continental breakfast can't be beat. There is plenty to do all within walking distance. We usually park and don't use the car again until we leave.

Well maintained facility across from Bowling Green State University and next to McDonalds. Lots of parking for RVs or tow vehicles. (Note- no elevator). Our pleasant check-in was worth noting. Kimberly was efficient, especially friendly and very accommodating. Our Dbl Q was mid sized, clean, attractive and updated. Small split bathroom with a second vanity sink and good rainhead shower. Flat screen TV, good WiFi, comfy side chair and a desk with lots of plugins. Beds were medium firm. Breakfast was the best we've had in a Best Western. Lots of options, really clean and plenty of pleasant seating. Hope this was helpful.

We stay here twice a year and are always satisfied. The staff is wonderful, helpful and always looks out for us. The weekend is extremely busy and they are always calm, friendly and have a sense of humor. We could not be more satisfied.

We always stay at a Hilton or Drury inn. This place was dfntly a good alternative and we would stay at this location again. It was within walking distance of bgsu for the tournament this weekend. Next to a McDonald's and other restaurants. Breakfast was fine and had non generic options which was surprising for a “free”breakfast. The beds were comfortable. Pillows were big and not cheap. I would dfntly recommend this place to anyone.

I was very pleased with this hotel. Very well-maintained, helpful staff, located directly across from Bowling Green State U. A bit less expensive than competing hotels in the area--a good value. I enjoyed my stay there.

Two days of golf to get away from the snow in Canada. Great service at this BW. Breakfast was typically good BW quality. The large hot tub/ spa was great, Not super hot like some which made it enjoyable for all. Fresh cookies and coffee is always great.

We loved the enclosed hot tub room, and the hot breakfast was much better than most hotel continental breakfasts. The room was very clean and stylish, with 4 pillows per bed. A premium hotel at a great price.

We had a very satisfying stay at this hotel - that was pet friendly ( for a fee). It was a bit pricy but well appointed and a lovely breakfast - best in its class. Staff were friendly, helpful and expedient. We look forward to a return visit.

Love this hotel. It will be the only hotel I stay in in BG from now on. Asked for extra towels, got it. The room was extremely clean, smelled great. Beds were outstanding and the pillows were to die for. Breakfast was okay, the juice machine was broken, but other than that it was fantastic.

I stopped at the Falcon Plaza as a quick getaway/overnight. The reception area has been upgraded and looks great. I was warmly greeted by Kayla and upgraded to a suite. Nice room decor. Fitness room small but utile. The breakfast was pretty standard and starchy. Great value just off I-75 across from BGSU.

Room was clean and comfortable. Price reasonable, $99 American, tax included, for King room with all amenities (except a pool) and a very good continental breakfast. The place was quiet and the staff helpful, suggesting where we might find dinner. Their suggestion was right on.

There are two parts to the hotel. One which is connected one that is not. This time had was put in the unconnected part and just did not feel comfortable. Room was cold. took a while to get it cleaned the next day. Breakfast was good.

We checked in late at night and the overnight person was "in training" but proved to be more helpful and accommodating than many front office staff we've experienced in past. The breakfast at this location was unforgettable because the quality of their bagels and "egg Mcmuffin" - so much more wholesome tasting than the typical unsatisfying free breakfasts offered at other hotels in the chain. This hotel was older building that was recently renovated. We find ourselves in a room with a heater that was not yet replaced and intermittently noisy. Management apologized that this was an isolated instance and refunded a portion of the rate. The manager's personal involvement and apology helped soothe us.Hopefully all room heaters will soon be replaced making this location a place to return to when travelling down I-75.

The room was well appointed with quality furnishings. Would love a room like this every place we stay. Courteous staff, good food, safe environment, quiet. Park close to door. All around convenience. Eating spots close by. Just a short drive to town centre .

We were traveling through and spent the night here. Had never driven through Bowling Green, only past it. It has a cute downtown. The hotel is close to the University if anyone is heading there for that. The staff there was very friendly and helpful !

Came to see Falcons play Western Michigan. Great Hotel, have stayed before and will surely stay again. Great Staff, Great Location and a Great Value! If you haven't been at a BW in a while, especially this one, you need to make it your business to stay at one. This property in particular has undergone quite a transformation in the past few years. I stay at different chains throughout the year, and I was pleased with every aspect of my stay. The rate--multiple-day discount--was a great value. The room was clean, everything was in working order. The bathroom floor was even heated. They were quick to remove snow from the parking lot and to treat the sidewalks for ice. Breakfast was fine by my standards; coffee was even very good.

We have stayed here many times. Staff is always friendly and professional. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast options are better than most hotels that provide free breakfast. We will continue to utilize this hotel.

When we go to BG we like to walk around campus and the Falcon plaza is nicely located. The rooms were updated this year. Small rooms but nice drive up capability. The staff got overzealous in knocking on doors. The housekeeping police... a little woman troll from the front desk was obnoxious. check out was at 11 and she was banging doors at 10am

I went to school at BGSU and I just didn't have a place to stay this time around and I had noticed this place while going to school there but hadn't really paid much attention. It is really nice and clean on the inside and outside, very quiet and our hotel room was remote. It's a little far from the main bars but not too bad during the summer... during the winter it's a different story. I had issues going through expedia and the lady that helped us at the front desk was very understanding and gave us a full refund. I would definitely stay here again.

This is an older property but it is clean and very comfortable and the personal working there are very nice and friendly. I stay every time I am heading from home to Michigan. Perfect stop point. There is a Myers not far away to get any items you might need. It is quiet and the breakfast is good too. Highly recommend it.

This hotel has had a complete facelift and is very nice! Comfortable and clean! The entire hotel has a new look and it's nice to stay here again! We will stay here when we come to Bowling Green again.

Hotel was clean, rooms were redone very pleasant. First night was great, second night the uncontrolled party until 2a.m. Not good. Yes it's a college town- I know but at some point when the hotel guests throw a party that the very kind front desk employee could not get under control the police should have been notified.

Room 133 you could hear every footstep and floors creaked with every step. Couldn't sleep.Very nice clean pet friendly hotel BUT get the Bozo contractor who just renovated the floor above and screw down the plywood and get better carpet.

I stayed here for one night for a business trip to Bowling Green State University. The location is excellent with several restaurants and the downtown area nearby, the price is quite reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and my room was great. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean with nice amenities, the shower worked great, and it was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. The wifi worked well, and I especially appreciated that it was quiet with none of the usual hotel noise. I couldn't even tell if there was anyone in the rooms around me. I would definitely stay here again!

The lobby was beautiful with a unique water feature that covered the wall. The entire hotel looks to have recently undergone a complete remodel with fresh paint and wall coverings and nice floor coverings as well. We will definitely be back!

As has been stated, we welcome our trip to BG to meet up with family & to visit a family member who now lives in a BG nursing home. We know we can count on a comfortable, pleasant, & quiet stay, where we can also attend BGSU sporting events & walk the beautiful area gardens.

We visited Bowling Green for a college visit for my oldest daughter. When looking for lodging, this Best Western popped up. We already stay at a BW in Macon, Georgia every year during our family vacations to Florida and we love that one so we decided to try this one out. Great decision. Once again, Best Western delivers. The hotel is clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. The staff was outstanding with everyone we talked too very friendly and helpful. We got a room with two Queen sized beds on the first floor. Even though the hotel was packed we didn't hear any hallway traffic or any other noise when in our room. There are plenty places to eat right next to the hotel and it is literally right across the street from Bowling Green State University so it is perfect when visiting the college. It is about 1 mile from I-75 so access to the highway is easy. This hotel also offers a very nice breakfast area with hot and cold options. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast sandwiches as well as cereal, muffins, and fruit. Give them a shot, you won't be disappointed.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Falcon Plaza and this was a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and the decor was up-to-date. The internet worked very well and the continental breakfast had many items, both hot and cold. Falcon Plaza has wonderfully clean rooms and a friendly, attentive staff. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The location is convenient, as it is right next to campus and a close drive to downtown BG. We also enjoyed a hot breakfast in the morning before we checked out.

The check in and check out process was very fast & easy. The staff was very helpful. Our room had everything we could want. Very clean. We used the exercise equipment & hot tub. Very nice. Breakfast has all you could want. Eggs, bacon, sausage cooked fresh. You can make a fresh cooked waffle with all the toppings. They had fruit cups, several kinds of juice, coffee, tea, water, milk & almond milk, bacon egg & cheese biscuits, several breads & bagels, Sunday we had ham & cheese omelets. No need to go out for breakfast. They have it all.

We stayed her overnight after a long day at Cedar Point. An adorable little hotel, very close to downtown Bowling Green. And within walking distance to a Cold Stone Creamery! Customer service was very professional. Our room and bathroom was clean. Our room was not in a noisy area, we all slept well that night. The breakfast was stocked full and we had multiple options to choose from. The lobby bathroom was super clean and even displayed fresh flowers on the countertop. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay. It was very clean, smelled fresh & was modern. I just wish they had a larger wheelchair accessible room, they said they didn't have 1. It was kind of difficult to get around, I needed a bit more room. We had a room with 2 beds, I'm sure a room with a single bed would be much easier & more room to get around. A nice bonus was they had freshly baked cookies @ the front desk to take when you'd like, we ate quite a few :) I'd definitely stay here again when I come to town next.

This is the second time that we stayed in this Hotel. It's one of the nicest hotel in the area. We want up to see our daughter at BGSU and stayed at the Best Western Falcon Plaza, Bowling Green Ohio. Stopped on our through and although it seems to be a. It older than most best westerns I've stayed at it was a good comfortable place. The staff at checking was awesome and cheerful and made a good recommendation for a place for supper.

We liked this hotel a lot and enjoyed our two night stay. The price was affordable for us. The beds are queen sized and are quiet comfortable. The shower is nice with a great shower head. The service was super and the staff was attentive and friendly. The cookies at night were an awesome treat. We loved the smell of the soaps, shampoo and lotion in the bathroom. Breakfast is included and our teenagers loved the toppings for the waffles. The interior was all recently nicely renovated and was very clean. The hot tub was nice to use too; even though the jets didn't seem to be working right.

All of the quality you'd expect from a Best Western. Everything was fine. Not much to eat in walking distance but otherwise everything was fine. Lots of working men staying there but the place was very quiet. Breakfast was fine.

My spouse and I chose this hotel because we were looking for a nice, affordable overnight stay on our way home from our joint business-pleasure trip. We decided to try BW properties because the chain we had previously used regularly has raised prices a bit too much. BW is proving itself to be a good option. By definition, BW doesn't mean cookie-cutter properties. This one is quite nice. Someone left a message for us at the hotel before our arrival which, I think she was the manager was diligent about catching us as soon as we arrived. The young woman who looks as if she's 14 (She'll be happy about those genes in 30-40 years.) was the most pleasant person I've ever encountered at a front desk. No pool, but a large whirlpool which we didn't use and an arrangement with the university for guests to use some of their facilities for a small fee. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel was very easy to find. It's on a main road among lots of nearby restaurants and gas stations. If I'd have to mark anything down, it would be the quality of breakfast. Fried eggs were our option; the yolks were as set as the whites. No English muffins. The set-up is a bit confusing. For example, there's no water available at the juice machine; a pitcher is on the counter away from that area. Nothing major. After staying at a few BW properties, I joined the incentive program. This property reinforces our decision to look for BW properties when we're on the road.

This hotel is definitely not a 3-star location. Decor and exterior appear dated. The bathroom in my room was tight. The A/C was loud. However, everything was spotless and the staff were friendly. A SOLID 2.5 stars.

we were very pleased with our stay . the staff was friendly and very helpfull.The appearance of the hotel was aesthetically pleasing. the rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable.,,,and they had one of those tv remotes that are of a smooth surface which you know are clean, and it had a sleep timer.another good point was that the temp regulator was on the wall, rather than on the unit itself,,which was very conducive to a good nights sleep. be assured , you won't be sorry that you stayed in this hotel.

Spent several days in BG for swim meet and stayed at the closest and most convenient hotel for BGSU campus and pool. Was amazed by recent renovation. Our room was spacious, quiet, clean, relaxing. Hotel staff was marvelous and welcoming, and very helpful, as always, especially Nichole. Our team was able to use the hotel meeting room for a group dinner one night which was a tremendous help. There are more options for hotels in BG now than there were even several years ago, but the Best Western still stands out.

We needed a hotel close to Bowling Green State University. The hotel was recently remodeled. I needed to add people to my room last minute, and the hotel staff was excellent in assisting me. They upgraded my room, asked where I would like to be located and even offered to assist my family with directions around campus. The hotel is centrally located near shopping, dining, etc. Thanks to the staff for making our stay comfortable and relaxing.

A super convenient location to BGSU campus. Very clean and friendly. Comfortable rooms. The sinks and shower in the bathroom area are noticeably lower than normal. Yummy breakfast and friendly staff. Easy walk to campus and food places.

Room was fantastic. King Room and could have fit a whole other King bed in there. Very clean and staff was excellent! Breakfast was offered and a nice dining area to do so. Front desk let us check in early after a long trip which was much appreciated.

Don't sell this hotel short. It is not new and flashy...but it has been given a great face lift and looks all new on the inside! It was so convenient to everything in town and the staff was very polite, cheerful, and helpful. We stayed four nights and have no complaints. This was a great value for the price and we highly suggest that you give it a try...you will not be disappointed!

Bowling Green is a very small college town and the hotel was better than I expected. The hotel was updated, clean and had a spacious room for our family of five. Room entrances were outside and we parked our car right outside the door - very convenient.

We stayed at the Best Western across from Bowling Green State University. Very good value. Superb staff- welcoming and helpful. We received good info on things to do downtown and got a great pizza from an establishment the front desk recommended. The room was exemplary- neat, clean and updated- everything we were looking for at a fair price.

Our stay was quiet, comfortable, and convenient to restaurants, college campus, and area attractions. Parking was a little tight for my big truck, and there was no pool for the kids, but an overall great stay.

My wife and I went up the night before orientation for bg and it was great. nice size bed, clean fast internet. not much else i could ask for from a hotel.i would recommend it to anyone for the price and distance to the campus

Stayed here when we visited Bowling Green State University and had a great experience. The room was very clean, smelled nice and was quiet. I was worried at first as it was right next to the exit door on the 1st floor but we didn't hear anyone outside of the room. We will stay here more within the next 4 years!

Very clean hotel, nice rooms, even clean bath tub. Good complimentary breakfast and reasonable fitness center. This is the first hotel where my wife said she would consider using the bath tub (because of its cleanliness). Glad to see that Best Western rewards points do not expire.

Originally we asked for a ground floor room due to handicap necessities. That requirement changed and we asked for a 2nd floor room upon arrival; the check-in host was able to get us the 2nd floor room with a sofa bed! The room was clean and beds comfortable even though we were used to a slightly softer mattress. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was great! Plus we were within easy walking distance of the Bowling Green State University campus!

This hotel was clean, and had all essentials. The front desk personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. The breakfast that was offered was great. Hot and cold beverages and food was available and all was clean and well taken care of. Loved staying here and will be returning for sure!

The outside is very outdated and looks something like a bad movie set. But the inside was pleasantly updated and modern and impeccably clean. The property was well maintained and I would stay here again.

Room smelled awful noise from upstairs at all hours of the night started first day at 5:00am then that night started again at midnight and continued past 1:00 when we called front desk for a second time. Was given can of air freshener for smell

This is very quaint hotel to stay at . It looked to be freshly renovated with new carpet upgraded bath and new furniture . The breakfast buffet was very nice with eggs meats and super good coffee. The hotel has a great location and it is directly across from the bowling green state university. I would definitely stay here again next time through.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. It was beautiful, very clean, with a super nice staff. The air conditioner was loud, but I've never stayed in a hotel when it wasn't. Great breakfast and an overall enjoyable stay.

We arrived for my son's college orientation on a Friday. The hotel looks like it has been recently remodeled. It is across the street from the BGSU Main Campus. Check in was quick. Our room was very clean. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. There are USB ports on the alarm clock to charge your electronic devices. I did use the fitness room, which is a standard hotel fitness room. There are 3 cardio machines, free weights, medicine balls and one multi-use weight machine. There is also a hot tub, which we didn't have time to use. There are warmed towels in the fitness room for that if you need it. Breakfast the day we were there had sausage, eggs, a waffle maker, danish, muffins, bread for toast, croissants, fruit, yogurt, microwavable breakfast sandwiches and more. We were a little short on time to have breakfast, so I didn't pay attention to all of the choices. Overall a good stay and it was the cleanest motel I have stayed at in a long time!

Lovely room, easy parking, good price and helpful staff. Lots of towels and they have a fairly large fridge. Breakfast area was very clean and well-stocked. My only negative is the very thin walls. But I tend to expect that in hotels.

Wasn't expecting much. Was in the area visiting family and attending a wedding. Picked the Falcon Plaza because my family is from the area and we had always stayed here when I was a kid. Even though the outside is very similar to how it was in the early 90's, the inside was redone. There was an inviting sitting area, a well equipped computer area with a printer and two nice computers. There was free tea and beverage service and everything was clean. The room was as you would expect in any decent Best Western. And very, very clean. It was perfect for my husband, I and our two 7 yr olds. The breakfast was the best "free" breakfast we had on our very long road trip. I will stay here again and highly recommend it as a great inexpensive stop over hotel.

I stayed five nights as part of a group with the Popular Culture Association and was delighted at the quality of the hotel. The rooms and lobby have been renovated and all areas are modern, spacious and clean. The proximity to BGSU is terrific and the 24/7 coffee in the lobby and included breakfast are so convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful and I plan to stay again.

I'm told the hotel was recently remodeled, and my room was very nice - spacious, clean and comfortable. There were a couple of odd things that the staff had already figured out were confusing (thermostat across the room from the heat/AC, the unusual shower control) and there were helpful signs pointing me to what to do. The hotel has that curved shower curtain that I like, although it would have been even more effective positioned a little further out. Where they had it made the curve ineffective and they could have just gone with a straight bar. Water pressure was ok. Water from the sink was lukewarm at all times and took a l o n g time to be cold enough to make drinking a glass of water pleasant. The room has a fridge and microwave. There is no elevator, so if you have mobility issues, ask for a room on the ground floor. Breakfast was generous if not luxurious. There are computers with printers if you need to get your boarding pass. Parking is fine. My room had a beautiful view of the McDonalds next door, but there was no problem or extra noise with that. The wireless was free and fast. good tv service. Would stay here again if I return to Bowling Green. The staff were friendly and helpful and made me feel most welcome!

The room was extremely clean and everything looked really nice. The bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was very good. They had egg and cheese omelets, sausage, waffles and many other items. All in all the stay was excellent.

After driving all day from Iowa, we were exhausted by the time we reached Bowling Green. Check in at the Best Western Falcon Plaza was quick and easy. In addition, we were upgraded to a 2 room family suite. It had a full counter and sink with a microwave, spacious waist high fridge, and lots of storage cabinets. This is a great room to book if you are staying an extended period in the Bowling Green area. Though we were there only overnight (less than 12 hours), we took advantage of the kitchenette from the moment we checked in. The decor in the room was very modern which I really liked. The bedroom was separate from the living room, so there were two TVs (which is great when traveling with kids!) and a pullout sleeper sofa. The room was clean and comfortable and I would have liked to have spent more time there. The continental breakfast was also a plus with many options to choose from - breakfast sandwiches, muffins, yogurt, waffles, fruit, juices, coffee, etc. The hotel is directly across from Bowling Green State University so I imagine it gets quite booked up during the school year.

I spend a great deal of time on the road each year and nothing feels better at the end of a segment of travel than being greeted by a warm staff, super clean/inviting hotel room, and reliable internet. Great option in Bowling Green.

Our soccer team stayed here for a tournament several weeks ago. It is right up the street from the soccer fields and if it wasn't raining and cold we may have even walked. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fine. Nothing spectacular. Waffle machine, egg and meat, cereals, coffee, oatmeal packets, hard boiled eggs, etc. They did not have a washer/dryer and luckily we didn't need them as the rain held off during the games. We would definitely stay here again.

Remodel on this hotel is very nice. Although breakfast dining area is very small and crowded, the food was very good to start the morning. Great place to stay for visiting Bowling Green State University students.

I travel on business regularly and when I am in Bowling Green, Ohio I would not think of staying anywhere else. The service is impeccable; the staff always goes out of their way to make your stay the greatest-- from Todd the general manager and Nicole the front end manager to all of the front desk staff,--everyone bends over backwards to make the place a real "home away from home." The rooms are meticulous and the lobby warm and inviting. Stop at the front desk and enjoy a fresh cookie after a long, hard day. Stay here and you will never be disappointed!!!!!!

We stayed here for our daughter's soccer tournament. The hotel was clean, accommodating, and communicative. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very kind to the team. The facilities met our basic needs, the beds quite comfortable and the homemade cookies were an added bonus. I really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very helpful and having the meeting room was a huge perk for our team to be able to meet, hang and eat together! Will look into using again next year for the tourney and will recommend to other teams

I was impressed with the newly remodeled rooms. My room was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed the location - close to the university, and access to the highway. Breakfast was good, and while there was coffee to go, I love McDonald's coffee, which was right next door. The shower was a challenge - pull down on the water faucet. (It would be helpful to have a small sign on the bathroom mirror perhaps, as this is a hassle while buck naked, to figure out. Quite the challenge). I will be back.

Clean comfortable friendly staff. Great value for what you get. We were in BG to visit the BGSU. Location was perfect. In room microwave ans refrigerator was nice. We didn't use the fitness center but from what I saw it was more than adequate. We couldn't ask for more.

We visited family and stayed here. Nice place and recently remodeled. No bed bugs and staff was great. Breakfast is decent. Our TV did not work. Overall a good stay though. Would stay there again. Parking was ample.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The price was fair. Breakfast was nice but the eggs were mediocre and there were no English muffins.Overall we were pleased with our choice. We definantly got our money's worth.

Previous stay in 2015 was somewhat disappointing as the hotel was in desparate need of some updating and we ended up changing rooms because of some issues with the condition of our the initial room we were assigned. However the service was excellent and the price made it a good bargain. Flip to 2017 and the service is still excellent, the price still beats similar hotels in the area. But now updates like new furnishings and carpet seemed to have given the hotel a fresh look that compares well to what younger hotels are offering. It still seems not a given that you would get a fridge and microwave. Our room this time had a fridge but no microwave. So you probably have to make sure you request those things at checkin if you really need them. And we seemed to be able to hear quite a bit of noise coming through the walls from adjoining rooms; both voices and plumbing noise. Again, you can probably request a quiet room at checkin if that is important. But this met all of our needs for this time and at a decent price. Great breakfast. Bananas were a bit soft, but the sausage was great and the coffee good and strong. Overall, we give it a thumbs up. Thanks for a nice stay.

This is now the oldest property in the Bowling Green market, but excellent upkeep, and recent renovations to the guest rooms and the common areas, have made it very competitive against its newer neighbors. It is also closest (walking distance to the university campus and retail amenities.

If visiting BGSU, best location...right across the street. Very clean, flat screen tv, hot showers, breakfast, close to freeway. Due to an accident, I have a temporary walker. When I reserved a room online, I asked if it was possible, I would like an exterior entrance room with a handicap shower. The exterior rooms don't have the handicap showers so an employee called me about 4 days before hand to ask me which would be more important. I was very surprised and thankful. Upon arriving, the young man and woman running the front desk were very friendly, helpful and the young man had us laughing before we left for our room. I would highly recommend this hotel and when we go to visit our son's friend again in the fall, we will be staying there.

Room was gorgeous. Just wish the mattresses were a little more comfy or the pillows being a tiny bit wider (because I move a lot and fell off my pillow often). The luxury had 2.5 rooms. One had the mini kitchen with a microwave, sink, coffee maker, and refrigerator. The sofa was a pull out bed. There was 2 tv total. Internet was annoying to try and figure out. We were too lazy to call front desk for password.

I chose this hotel due to lack of options the weekend that I went to Bowling Green. There was a sporting event and conference in town that weekend, and it was one of the few hotels with rooms left at a reasonable price. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel lobby was clean and well maintained. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. I got a king room, which had plenty of room for my daughter's pack and play. They had a free continental breakfast, which was nice. Eggs, sausage, several sandwiches and fruits, and of course cereals, coffee, and juices. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, and I'd recommend it.

This hotel had some great updates to the lobby and rooms. My stay was great I was in the D wing of the hotel for a swim meet.. Floor was very quiet and relaxing. Didn't know there was anyone on my floor, it was that quiet!

I was impressed with the size and quality of the room! I stayed for a week and, every day, was provided with fresh towels and toiletries! The furniture was well maintained. The quality of the room made my stay very enjoyable!

I have stayed here several times over the years as I visit my alma mater for football games. Always a pleasant stay. Front Desk always seems glad to see us and they always let us check in a little early. This last weekend, I realized about 2 hours after checking out that I left my pillow in the room. I called right away and the lady said she'd have housekeeping retrieve my pillow and alert the front desk manager, Nicole, who would be back on duty Monday. I called Nicole today and she has my pillow and will ship it either today or tomorrow. Big deal, it's just a pillow, right? Well I have used this pillow for over 30 years and sleep like poo poo without it. Other than the pillow thing, the hotel overall is kind of average, rooms are OK, lobby redecorated which looks nice. Room heating needs revamped as we couldn't get the temperature under 79 the entire night even with running the AC.

We stayed the nights of November 23rd & 24th, 2016 and had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean, the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They responded quickly to every request we had with such kindness. The breakfast was awesome! We will definitely use this Hotel again!!!

Niki at the front desk was super welcoming and friendly. Room was very big and very clean. Shower was extremely clean and worked great. Need one like that at home! Pricing was very competitive. Loved everything about this place. Also perfect location if you would like to walk downtown or to the college.

The hotel was clean and comfy and the breakfast was yummy. The lady at the desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. She suggested your rewards program and I signed up. We liked that it was close to BGSU. We will keep this hotel in mind for the next four years that my grandson will be at BGSU.

I had an accident earlier that day. Stayed at this hotel 5 years prior it was horrible and vowed to never stay again. I was so exhausted and distraut that I felt compelled to try this hotel no matter what because I could drive no farther. Arelene and Meghan were at the desk and could not have been nicer. Because of them, the cleanliness of the hotel and great breakfast, I will again book this as my go to hotel on travels. This hotel has been completely transformed to a great and one of the best BW's I have experienced. I have been to many and this one is tops! What a Great Stay! So many breakfast items included in the stay, and the evening staff of Arelene and Meghan, makes this stay PRICELESS!!!!!

My daughter and I stayed here for her Middle School Honors Band program at BGSU. It was our first time on the BGSU campus. I'm generally not a big fan of hotels in college towns (usually overpriced, surly staff tired of dealing with pushy parents, obnoxious kids, etc.). Our stay was one of the best for a hotel in any college town (or non-college town). Clark, the front desk receptionist, was genuinely so nice and pleasant to deal with for all our requests. He located a campus map for us and marked it up in relation to the hotel so that we knew where we were going the next day. He located all kinds of misc. items for us, and gave advice on where to eat. Best of all, he helped a tired parent like me at the end of the day. My daughter wanted an apple at 10 pm (long band day), and he located one in the breakfast room and delivered it to our room. Wow, what service! The other staff were very friendly too. In getting advice on eating places, I could tell that they genuinely liked the town of Bowling Green. Rooms were clean. Overall excellent value for being directly across the street from campus and minutes from downtown Bowling Green. Highly recommend this hotel.

I was extremely impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and the cleanliness of my room. I know that the BW is renovating currently, and some of the rooms are a little dated, but they are extremely clean and very well maintained and the price point is in line with this. The size of the rooms is awesome as well. I book a room here every time I travel on business and wouldn't stay anywhere else. The breakfast is awesome and the cookies are as well. The staff are always quick and anticipated my needs before I even voiced them....not to mention, it is right across from the University and near a ton of great places to eat (which the staff recommended after asking what I preferred).

Todd and the rest of his staff are legitimately some of the best staff I have ever encountered at a hotel, period. The staff were overly helpful in allowing us to check in early, and telling us where to go in town during our stay for great food and drinks. This was my second time staying at this location, and I will 100% stay here every time I am in BG. You should too.

I thought the hotel was clean, the staff very professional, the breakfast good. For my need to be close to campus, it was very agood location and there were good restaurants nearby. The workout room was nice as was the small pool. I had no problems

We've had the pleasure of staying at this hotel over the past 4 years as our son attends the local university. Best Western is Best Value and with the recent renovations, is perfect for what we need! Its conveniently located, has nice large clean rooms, comfortable beds and at a very good rate! Best of all has been the staff that we've gotten to know over the years! Always a cheerful greeting, always accommodating and not only at the front desk but at breakfast and with the housekeeping staff. I wish all the hotels we stay at showed they cared even half as much as they do here! Thanks for everything over the past 4 years!!

I have a great history with this family owned property. 50 year owners of the same property deliver all of the features of more expensive properties in the area for a great value. Whether personal or business, I would not consider another hotel in Bowling Green. 65 nights and counting, no timeouts, excuses or substitutions, 1st class lodging experience.

This hotel was just as expected, even better was the value. Less expensive than others, very nice no problems. The staff was well trained and efficient. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. We did not need to request anything, we had 2 rooms.

Outstanding visit at the Falcon Plaza. The hotel was clean the staff was friendly everything was bright and shiny and brand brand-new. The breakfast on a Sunday morning was constantly refilled the food was good the area was kept very clean. Highly recommend anyone in need of a hotel in Bowling Green to use this Best Western.

I came into town for a 40th high school reunion. I did not book a room in advance and as a result I am glad that I did not.. I found the front clerk very accommodating and professional. When I entered the room I found it Very clean and neat, but spending the night I was awaken by horrible sounds coming from the a/c unit. I finally had to turn it off just to get back to sleep. The next morning I went to take a shower and there was no hot water.. I do have to say my stay was pretty disappointing. Date stayed 9/15 Room 103.

I explained earlier that my room had had a smoker in it prior to my stay. I smelled it as soon as I entered the room -- not over powering but bad enough. And when you bring a towel to your face to dry after a shower, cigarette smoke is not real pleasant. I knew the hotel was booked, and I don't like to complain, so I left it go until checkout. Nothing was done about it. And I booked a block of 7-8 rooms for our 40 year BGSU reunion for some old friends and roommates, so the hotel did OK with our group, too. Was just disappointed. Our son attends BGSU, so we stay here several times a year. We were pleasantly surprised by the remodel of the hotel lobby. It looks great. And the price is right. The rooms are the same--spacious and comfy. Air is a bit noisy, but the showers are hot and the staff is friendly and helpful!

We stopped here on our way up north. Room was large. Amenities were what we expect from a best western. Breakfast was better than most comparable chains. Mattress was in need of updating. Very firm mattress made for a rough sleep. Check in was was nice. Both people were very friendly,

Old school, hands on approach to meeting the needs of business and leisure guest. Very functional, everything you need to be productive in business or relaxing for pleasure. Simple, safe and clean property. I stay 150 nights a year in a hotel for almost 30 years and you are kidding yourself if you need more than this property has to offer. My daughter goes to BGSU, and we visit throughout the school year and for the BGSU family events. First time we were able to get a room at this hotel in Bowling Green. Now I see why they are always booked full for these events. Newly remodeled, great complimentary breakfast selections, clean and spacious rooms and welcoming staff. I will make my reservations earlier from now on, so I can get a room there again!

I love this hotel. They recently did some renovations and it's better than it ever was (But I still loved it before the renovations). THIS hotel is the most convenient to BGSU campus and is nice, friendly, clean and an excellent value.

Very nice quiet stay and close easy walk to the Stroh center for Graduation. The rooms were really clean, you can definitely tell they take good care of the hotel. I will definitely be staying at this Best Western again.

The desk staff was very friendly and answered my questions. The breakfast was excellent and there were many choices. It is a little older hotel, but clean. Very convenient if looking to have a stay close to the university. It's right across the street.

Very welcoming staff and an all-around nice hotel! The room was nice and large and all amenities worked perfectly. The area is quiet with many restaurants in walking distance. We actually had to cancel our first night's stay because of delayed airline flights and had no problem working things out with hotel staff and there were no penalties. We will be staying here when we return to Bowling Green.

Nice facility other than an incredibly loud window A/C unit that woke me up repeatedly as it kicked on during the night. Staff were nice, room was clean, breakfast was very good but if you cannot sleep... Well, I've ruled this place out in the future. When I told the desk attendant about the problem as I checked out, She acknowledged the problem and told me all the units were going to be replaced. If they know... Why haven't they fixed it already?

We have been in Bowling Green many times for swim meets - but have never stayed at this hotel. I will definitely try to book again next time. It was convenient to the pool - nice and quiet - and a great breakfast!

Stayed recently for the second time and was just as impressed as the first time. Some areas have been updated and look great and have heard that rooms will be next. Bathroom looked updated, with great shower and nice fluffy towels. Everything in the hotel was very clean and rooms are reasonably priced. Quite a variety of items for breakfast, including a make-your-own waffle maker and some cooked eggs with either sausage or bacon. All staff were friendly and helpful. Will stay there again.

The hotel was clean. The biggest down side of the hotel was the fact that the first morning I was there I had no hot water. They apologized at the front desk but that was it. Told me it was fixed but by that time I had already showered. I would have thought that it would have been more appropriate to offer even a small discount for the huge inconvenience! Also, the hotel is 2 floors with NO elevator. It is rather difficulty when traveling solo to have to carry all your luggage up a flight of stairs!

This is one of the cleanest, friendliest motels I have seen in a long time - and since it was in a university town it surprised me. Wonderful experience. Thank you for the fresh, clean and peaceful experience.

This was a quiet, clean hotel. Good breakfast. Convenient to I-75. We have stayed there before and will stay again. We had an inside room this time. We have stayed in room with an outside entrance. They had a "no pets" policy which we like.

When the front desk manager: Nichole Carpenter, found out that i wasn't happy with the bed size for my room, she not only offered to change rooms to a bigger bed size, but she left us a gift bag of water and snacks. you don't see service like that often. The room was very confortable and well furnished. We were on a sports vacation for my son's baseball team.

Very helpful and quick at check in. Nice breakfast selection. Pool had a nice looking hotter area and fitness room. Very close to the highway, but far enough away that is was very quiet. Ample parking. Plenty of dining options available nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located. It looks a bit run down on the outside and did not improve upon entering our room (253). It was a sizeable room, but the lighting was distinctly dim. All the furniture was worn, the fixtures tarnished and a lamp socket completely dangling under the shade (not repaired during out stay). The outside stair railing to our room was broken off at ground level on the left side (this was repaired the next day when we reported it to the front desk.) Housekeeping skipped us the first day and the front desk apologized. The second day our room was cleaned, but housekeeping left the door ajar all day, which we discovered at 10:00 pm when we returned from a family wedding. Breakfast was average - make your own waffles, powdered eggs, toast, cereal, juice, etc. Biggest disappointment: The management told us that they would have discounted our stay, EXCEPT, we had booked through Expedia and "their hands were tied" in areas of payment. So while they all apologized very sweetly and were quite pleasant, all of the problems made it a disappointing stay. Book the Hampton Inn right next door - we would have, had it not been sold out.

We were there for my son's graduation from Buckeye Boys State, but I hear it is being moved to Miami University next year. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I was ever in Bowling Green again, I would stay here again. It's very convenient to Bowling Green University.

Just hoping for a nice, comfortable room in an older motel, but turned out the motel was really nice and modernized. Very comfortable room and bed, great TV (with HBO), clean, updated bathroom and free WIFI. The description said "continental breakfast", but it was much more than that (eggs, sausage, and bacon, to make egg sandwich; waffle maker; cereal; yogurt, fruit cups, and more). Very nice. Whirlpool and exercise room looked very nice (and clean), but did not have time to use it. Wished I did have time. Great experience and stay, for very reasonable price.

We reserved a block of rooms here for a baseball tournament based purely on the location and ended up walking away disappointed. The hotel is clean, efficient, and has a great location to the fields but the customer service or lack thereof overshadowed our stay. Re: Not all rooms given the guaranteed rate resulting in the clerk having to call the manager at home on a Sunday to get permission to waive a $10-20 charge.

First stay was this May. I would go back. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, reasonable rates, better than average complimentary breakfast. Recommended and I do plan to lodge there agin when through lovely Bowling Green.

WE had a last minute client needing my assistance in Perrysburg, and the staff at this hotel was very helpful with making my reservation. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food was fresh and the Dining area was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed here because it was reserved for a nearby family reunion. Very clean hotel and friendly staff. Good quality breakfast and reasonably priced. It is located near a large State University, but the room was very quiet and I would stay here again!

I was very satisfied with my stay at Best Western. It was very clean, staff was friendly, and it was in walking distance to a lot of places to eat/have a drink after a long day on the road. I'd def stay there again.

On my recent business trip to Bowling Green I had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Falcon Plaza. This fantastic hotel is the perfect combination of value and high quality service. The staff was beyond accommodating, and even upgraded my room to a suite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in BG. It is across the street from BGSU's campus, and a short walk from the city center. The room was extremely clean, as were the hotel facilities. 5 out of 5 stars without question!

Cost of room was over double the amount from a Thursday night to Friday night. We came to BG to watch our daughter graduate from college and BW took advantage of us and other parents. Bill went from $70.00 a night to $160.00 a night. This will be last time we stay there or any other BW.

We stay at the Falcon Best Western when we visit our child at BGSU because of it's convenience, friendly and efficient staff, and room rates. But, when I looked to stay there again this May for one night I was shocked by the rates. It doubled from our first visit (August 2015) They did some renovations but the rooms were basically the same (some cosmetic changes) but in comparison of other nice hotels in the area with the same rates, the Best Western should re-evaluate their costs.

We always stay here when my husband and I come and visit our daughter at BGSU. We usually book a standard room but this last visit we booked a Jacuzzi suite that was great!. It was huge and spacious! For an older hotel, impressed on how clean and well maintained the property is. When we've eaten breakfast, it's been a good selection.

I needed somewhere to stay for the night after a long day's drive, and, given the positive reviews, I chose the Falcon Plaza. The staff on checkin and checkout duty were both friendly and professional. The decor in the bedroom was a little weird and not in keeping with the building. The TV sat on a very heavy ornate chest of drawers. The tub was lined with marble - or was it faux marble? But the building itself is plain, a kind of 60s or 70s motel. But the bed was comfortable and I slept well and really that's what matters. My room was clean, the wifi worked and the iron, fridge and microwave were welcome. Breakfast, with eggs and waffles, was better than the buffet available at many places. I have to say though, that, had I known that my room had an external door, I probably would not have stayed there, but it was already late when I arrived, and I had pre-paid on line.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now, the hotel is in a perfect location. The hotel has potential to be great but the rooms located on the outside of the building are very different then the rooms inside. The first room I was assigned was terrible and had a beer can left over in the room. The sheets were also multiple colors and dirty. I do however give the staff the utmost amount of credit. When I brought the issue to their attention they upgraded me to a room that was perfect. The second room that I was moved to was so much nicer and cleaner then the first room. In fact the second room was so much cleaner and up to date that it was hard to believe that the quality of rooms and cleanliness could be so different between two rooms at the same property. I would tell anyone who stays here to make sure they have a room inside the building, and not in one of the outdoor inn style rooms. This hotel is excellent as long as you have a room inside of the main building.

Great desk personnel, what a pleasure to be accommodated by their professionalism. Bravo Falcon Hotel staff on a job well done. The management of this hotel has trained all the personnel to near perfection.

The staff at the Best Western were very accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable, the spa was relaxing, the breakfast was wholesome with a great variety to choose from. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends!

Best Western Falcon Plaza - off of I-75 far enough so you cannot hear it, convenient to restaurants and downtown Bowling Green - rooms are clean and comfortable - staff is helpful...and there's a McD's next door for convenient breakfast...all right across from BGSU campus.

From the first moment in the door it was a great start. I noticed the Lobby had a RE-Doo, plus the breakfast room! Wonderful upgrades. Our room was spotless and crisp! We had a great supply of fluffy towels, as the weather turned quite cold the heater worked great and kept us toasty.

People in the room above us came in at 3:00am and we could hear them talking and walking around their room until 4:30am. Room have very poor noise insulation. Stayed at 5 BW during trip. This location was worst and most expensive.

Amongst the nicest staff we've ever encountered! From the front desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning ladies, couldn't be more hospitable and accommodating! We've been coming here for years to visit our son at university and have never experienced a problem in all our visits here! Its not the Waldorf or Plaza, but then neither is the price! Its good value and comfortable even if its a bit dated, but with all the new renovations in progress, its only going to get better! Thanks again!

I needed to visit Bowling Green State University so I selected this hotel. I was not disappointed. The location, staff, cleanliness, and cost of the room were all outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for the best place to stay when visiting BGSU!

Clean enough although dated. Very friendly staff and efficient. Quick check in. Average breakfast, waffles, eggs (not very good), cereal, fresh fruit. In good area with many restaurants around and a large grocery store.

I have stayed here 4 times and never had any bad service. Always greeted with a smile. Price is good. Bed is comfortable. The breakfast is simple but good. They also are very informed of local things to do and see.

Friendly, helpful service, super comfy beds, clean rooms, great location! Would highly recommend if in BG area! Walking distance to downtown, Campus Quarters right out front with reasonably priced drinks and great atmosphere.

I was at this property for nights. Everyone was very friendly, and the hotel was very clean. The fitness center is great, and had everything I needed. The breakfast was average, but it did the job. It is located right off the expressway for easy access and it is close to the campus.

Volunteer business took me to town; and this hotel was arranged for me. It's convenience to a quick meal - any meal - was appreciated. The remodel of the front lobby will be handsome. Absence of an elevator was a challenge and nuisance. Be sure to ask for a shower cap!

Very friendly front desk staff. Check in and out was quick. Breakfast was adequate with enough choices. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean and set up well. No elevators though so make sure to ask for ground floor room if needed.

This hotel has been around a long time but it has been updated very nicely over the years. Currently it is a very nice place to stay when visiting BG or BGSU. I would highly recommend it. I used to stay at the HIE when in town but now as long as the rates are fair think I will make this my BG hotel of choice.

The inside and outside of this hotel was very clean, no odors, and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast was delicious, lots of variety to chose from, would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Everything was at or above expectations except failure of wake-up call on Sunday morning. Location picked because of convenience. No pool but exercise room has free weights and good elliptical and stationary bike.

Very clean,convenient and the price is right. Great location. Will stay again. It is very convenient to BGSU. The remodeling of the hotel is great. Even with the large crowd for the Presidents Day open house they were able to keep up with the breakfast demands.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times when I visit BG. This is a fantastic location and a fantastic staff. I would not consider staying anywhere else. The hotel will always allow me to check in early if I need to and is alway very accommodating. For the price of what you get in BG I would not stay at any other hotel.

Making a cross country life-chainging trip, our travel team was looking for places to visit with old friends and find a comfortable stay. With our cute pup in toe, options for crossing the country are limited to a few hotels and B&Bs, especially in smaller communities. Best Western offered us great comfort and was pet friendly. The service was excellent with great energy.

This Best Western is located very close to the I75 Highway, across the street from a major University and only a short distance from quality eating and drinking establishments. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful in securing a luggage dolly for our use. This hotel, although in the middle of renovations was very clean, tidy and completely dust free. Our room was very clean and everything worked as they should. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and will be sure to recommend this Best Western Falcon Plaza in Bowling Green, Ohio. Great hotel! The service was nice. All the employees were helpful and kind. The price was nice and the location was perfect to visit the University. The internet signal in my room was weak but nothing terrible. If I had the choice I would stay here again!

I can't say how satisfied I am with my stay at the Best Western in Bowling Green Ohio. From the time I arrived to when I left we were treaty EXCEPTIONALLY WELL! It has been awhile since I have felt compelled to write a review about a hotel, but due to the GREAT experience I thought it is deserved. Thank you again, and I'll be back!

I slept well at this hotel, however, the carpet and a few other things definitely need updated. Staff was very helpful and friendly, but I did not receive the quality of room I expected for the price. I have stayed at updated hotels for less money.

Lovely hotel, under some renovations, but did not interfere with our stay. Gentlemen at the dest Todd and Clark were wonderful hosts, always pleasing and going out of their way to make sure our stay was easy and perfect. Breakfast was excellent as well. The room was warm and clean and inviting. And quiet.

Great service, quiet room and convenient location. I was minutes away from Bowling Green State University, where I had a grad school interview and audition. I was able to sleep well and check in and out in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the university, especially if car access is limited or not an option.
