Pet fee is too high. Room was clean but there was mold in the shower but other than that, it's a nice hotel. Linens were crisp and clean, lobby was nice and hallways clean. We left too early to get breakfast but it looked like a nice area with a nice variety.
Would highly recommend for anyone needing to stay in the Springfield area. Was actually blown away by how nice this place was at this price point! Hotel was very clean, check in and check out were quick, beds were comfortable, and the shower got nice and hot! Very happy with this stay!
This is my go to Bolivar hotel! It is conveniently located by SBU and close to a nice coffee shop. I'm sad when the hotel is sold out and I have to stay elsewhere. This is definitely the nicest one in Bolivar. The people have always been very friendly and I've enjoyed my stay.
We have always enjoyed the comfort of BW's beds. We haven't been disappointed yet! The rooms are always clean and inviting. This BW is close to shopping & restaurants, but it's far enough off of the main highway to not have the traffic noise. When we are visiting family in the area, this is our "go to" place to stay.
The hotel was spotless - very clean rooms and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and responsive tonrequests. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, especially the eggs. The pool area was also a lovely treat.
The Bolivar Best Western Hotel and Suites is the Best hotel to stay in Bolivar!!! Everything is beautiful, comfortable and delicious and they accept pets!!! The suite, the pool, gym, breakfast, the hospitality, everything!!! Family in town visiting and everyone enjoyed their stay immensely!!!
The pillows were flat and very uncomfortable. The heavy curtains didn't close all the way and the light kept shining in your eyes while trying to sleep. They billed me four times for the same room. The hotel was clean but the staff was not very knowledgeable about your job.
Excellent property clean, comfortable room, great free breakfast, well presented, clean and fresh. The staff was excellent plus. One staff person had such excellent customer service skills she should be a lead trainer in the industry. This is a classic example how all hotels should be. Unfortunately it is not.
My sons are students at nearby Southwest Baptist University, and this is by far the best hotel in town. I've stayed there probably 8-10 times in the last 4 years. The rooms are basic, but nice, and roomy enough for a family. The beds are comfy and there are plenty of USB and plugs around the room. The breakfast is substantial and generally good, with plenty of options. The pool is a good size and the exercise room has a good selection of equipment. In all my stays, I have had only have one complaint: I stayed in a room that had obviously sustained water damage as it was humid and mildewy, and the bathroom floor was warped to the point you could barely close the door. Staff were a bit unconcerned, offering to spray the room to eliminate the smell. We switched rooms. If it hasn't yet been fixed, they need to invest in it. I won't stay in that room.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Bolivar Hotel & Suites . The staff was friendly, our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best, fresh and hot. We would stay here again whenever we travel through this area of Missouri.
Stayed for business. Internet didn't connect from my room. My phone did not work for outside calls. The outdoor trash overflowing and there was very noisy guests around my room. The hotel was overbooked and I was unable to extend my stay. Would not stay here again.
We had an issue with our room (housekeeping forgot to pickup a pile of towels when cleaning the room). I immediately went to the front desk. They apologized and quickly put us in a different room. New room was very clean. All the staff were super nice and helpful all times of day! Breakfast was good !
The people that work, there are the absolute best. Each one went above and beyond to accommodate any need that I had. The rooms were very well taken care of and the breakfast was delicious. They now offer soup on certain days in the afternoon, which is wonderful. They are close to shopping and restaurants and even offer a discount to some of the restaurants
Excellent experience and will stay here again. Came for a family gathering and gathered in both pool area and breakfast. Child friendly as well as great for adults. Close to shopping and center of town. No doubt we'll be in town again and will stay here.
We were in the area for a funeral. I had never been to Bolivar so I really did not know what to expect. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! immaculately clean, and the employees were uniformly nice and helpful, they actually seemed to enjoy working there! Just a lovely experience during a sad time.
1) when I arrived to check in there was no one at the desk and no bell for me to announce my arrival. I waited a few mins for someone to check me in. During the check in process I explained that my last name has changed from what is on the reservation and offered ID but she didn't want to see it. I also explained that I was there to relax and that I would prefer a room on the third floor and at the end of the hall if possible. She told me the hotel was currently not very full so all rooms would be quiet. When I went to my room, I was right above the lobby on the 2nd floor. From the room I could hear other guests talking in the lobby , the door opening and closing as well as music. If the hotel was not full and plenty of rooms available, why was my request not granted? 2) my reservation was for 2 nights. The second day of my stay I had left the hotel and when I returned, my key would not work. I went down to the front desk where a young lady was sitting and looking at her phone. She didn't look up to even acknowledge that I was there until I said something to her. I then explained my key didn't work. Without saying anything to me at all, she took my key and fixed it and then handed it back to me. No communication from her at all. There should have been "I'm sorry about that, let me fix that for you. How's your stay? Anything you need?" 3) at checkout the same young lady was at the desk and again looking down at her phone. This time I stood in front of her for a few seconds before I said "excuse me" and then she looked up and said "I thought you were walking by". Even if I had just been walking by there should have been some acknowledgement of me being in the lobby. A simple "have a good day" or "good morning" or something when a customer comes to the lobby. I then asked for a copy of my receipt and left. These ladies are in a CUSTOMER SERVICE position. If they don't want to serve customers then they need to find another position that better suits them. And Best Western in Bolivar needs to do better job when hiring individuals for customer service positions. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have recommended it to many people. This might have been the last time. It's extremely sad that customer service doesn't seem to be a priority with businesses these days.
Everything in and around the hotel including their services was prompt, and handled immediately with the upmost professionalism. The location was very convenient equip with stores close to the location as well as restaurants. I would definitely not only stay in this hotel again but highly recommend it.
Rented conference room for daughter post graduation party. Lori was simply amazing and very attentive. Excellent location for arriving guests. The holiday decor was so warm and cozy. I couldn't have received a more pleasant experience.
Everything was great! Clean, comfortable rooms and great service! We really were impressed. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great experience. The free breakfast was the best we have ever had anywhere!!!
Hotel is always clean and check in/out is a breeze. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay feel like you are at home. The hotel is located next to some great restaurants and the sushi across the street is amazing
The girl at the desk when we arrived was very helpful and friendly. She acted like she enjoyed her job! Nice to see someone put effort into their work! Rooms were very clean and breakfast was very good! A lot of variety and choices !
My inlaws live in the area & this has become our "go to" place to stay. Comfortable & off the main drag so as to afford quiet. We always enjoy our stay here. If staying in town, I would always recommend this hotel.
Staff was great the room was very clean. The pool was closed and the kids were not thrilled but overall a good experience I have to say. Breakfast was good and the hotel appears to be maintained very well.
Our final night stay on our Missouri vacation, and was really the best . We ha no complaints about our room , clean, beds were comfortable and staff was super. I say this because we encountered some interesting previous encounters on this vacation. One suggesting the stairs were right there to lug up heavy bags? when a elevator was available... So I sure recommend this hotel and give it 5 stars.
We paid over $200 and had to sleep with ants on both beds and the nightstand. Reported to front desk and nothing was done other than I was told they'll put it in the log. That's it. Probably won't be back.
My last trip to a Best Western was not exactly spectacular, and quite frankly I wasn't really looking forward to having to stay at one for work this time. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the facility and the staff at the Best Western in Bolivar. To start with, those working at the facility were absolutely lovely. They were helpful, cheerful, and willing to go above and beyond. I forgot to pack a shower cap, I typically forget to pack one, and the lady working the evening of May 24th was more than willing to search for them, even when I let her know it was fine and if they weren't readily available to not worry about it. It wasn't an, "oh, I don't know that we have them," and done, instead she was truly willing to search for them, and did in fact search for them and found one for me. The breakfast staff was just as pleasant. Very quick to let me know if there was anything that was running low or out that I wanted to just let them know. They were quick about making sure things were full, the food was hot, and it was just over all pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. It has the same problem every room does, too many lights that you can't turn out to truly make it dark (red light on tv, green light on smoke detector) and the curtains don't quite overlap enough to keep all outside ambient light at bay, but otherwise it was comfortable and quiet. It is perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in in the past twelve or so hotel stays, which is nice because I very seldom get enough rest while on a business trip. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel and it is one that I would put on my list to stay at again if I found myself in the area, even if I were just traveling on my own and not on business. I am truly appreciative of this facility and its staff for my stay.
We found this place to be extremely overpriced on weekends. However, as roadside hotels go, it is very nice. It is very clean and fairly new. The employees we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bathroom had a nice wallk-in shower. The breakfast was slightly better than standard motel fare, but the attendant was not effective at maintaining supplies. Best Western can be very "hit and miss", but this is a good one. They even have chargers for those who have been tricked into electric cars.
Great value for a clean and new facility. They are located in a safe location with quick access to food and services in Bolivar. Rooms were spacious for what I needed and had a great breakfast ready in the morning with everything you need to get your day going.
Met and exceeded expectations. Staff at desk was very helpful and tolerated all of my questions with ease. If I am ever in the area again I will make a point to stay in this motel again. I would highly recommend.
Great value very clean and a friendly and helpful staff … we will stay here again for sure! Check in was easy and fast , we enjoyed the breakfast both mornings we stayed , location was great stores close by and not far off the highway
I stayed at this property during a cross country trip to the east coast. This was my third Best Western Plus location and by far my favorite. Hotel is in great shape and even has covered EV charging spaces. My check-in was smooth, and they had me on the way up to my room in less than two minutes. Would definitely stay again!
I've been staying at the Bolivar Best Western more than my home for the last month. It has been a pleasure. All of the staff has been great. They make me feel welcome everyday and are always available for help when needed.
Originally booked a motel in Buffalo MO and ended up leaving there at midnight and drove to Bolivar. Terrible experience in Buffalo. Shyanne was friendly, and accommodating. Had us in a room quickly. Thank you Shyanne!
Best Western is a wonderfully nice, comfortable hotel very near the college campus making it super convenient, too. Dependable on check in, amenities, and service throughout the stay. We stay here anytime we're visiting our children who are students there!
We came to Bolivar to see family and friends that we haven't seen for at least 10 years. The hotel was amazing! The lobby was a perfect meeting area and the staff was so friendly and kind. The hot breakfast every morning was perfect! We loved all of the different choices! The pool was perfect for the kids while us adults relaxed in the chairs. The kids loved going into the gym to “work out” together. Our room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pillows were great and had no stains (like other hotels we have stayed in). The shower was huge and the soaps that are provided were great! Thank you Best Western Plus for a fabulous place to stay!
Warm, comfortable, clean and friendly! The experience was very nice and breakfast was hot and ready. Exercise room is small, but clean. Don't forget your swim suit for the pool. Great location and Bolivar is easy to navigate to local restaurants and shops downtown.
Coming in for the Christmas holidays to spend with family, we once again choose BW of Bolivar. As with the last time we were well taken care of by a extremely friendly and dedicated staff. We brought along our newest family member (our14 month old standard poodle) and found the clean well maintained pet area useful . Don't worry about finding breakfast anywhere else except the dining area. Dining indoor or outdoor the quality and variety of this bountifulbreakfast is only second to the professionalismof the staff. Three quarters of my military career were spent in the Resreves, so motel stays are nothing new to me. What is new is how much this BW impressed me. Yes its a newer facility, howeverit has been well maintained and cared for. I can't say enough about the staff!
I was giving a rate on the second day of stay and they didn't In force it in tell the 7th day.they are not willing to change it for the first week. I also had a bloody nose and they charged me $25.00 for the sheets for damaged property.!
The hotel was clean and comfortable during our six night stay. It is conveniently located to shopping and the city square. The lack of communication and poorly equipped kitchen in our king bedroom suite prevents an excellent rating for this trip.
The Bolivar BW was quiet, clean, and had a great breakfast! Breakfast options included biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, waffles, and you could make your own breakfast burritos! Cold breakfast options were there as well.
I gave to admit, that I've always thought BWs were slightly unclean, low-end motels. The location in Bolivar MO completely changed my opinion. During the past 2 weeks, we've stayed at a Sonesta Extended Stay, Holiday Inn's, and Hampton Inn's. This BW location literally blew them out of the water. The staff was the friendliest. The room was exceptionally clean. The nightly rate was extremely affordable. We rented 2 pet friendly rooms, and they were superior than non-pet rooms at any of the hotels we stayed. Best night's sleep out of every night of our 2 week trip. I'm booking Best Western from now on!
This hotel was so clean. The employees where extremely helpful and friendly. Great customer service. The beds are comfortable, rooms clean. OMG the shower was wonderful. Can't wait to book my next stay.
After the company owner booked the hotel the prior week we arrived with printed confirmation in hand and they had sold our rooms. Manager arrived and her arrogance and attitude was appalling. Needless to say our week say of multiple rooms was canceled by our company owner and there will be no future bookings
This hotel is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly, and professional. My family couldn't stop talking about how nice the room was. Plenty of space in the room for a family of five! The lobby and eat in area was gorgeous. Even had a very nice outdoor lounge area, with a fire going.
I want a refund on our stay. Our room had no toilet paper. My hair turned green from the pool. Couldn't get it out. Ruined a wedding. Manager was very mean to us about it. Need refund from our stay. TY
Kim Arpaolipomi was the young lady who checked us in! She remembered us from three months ago! The room was clean and a hot breakfast was available and good too! The entrance was clean and looked very well maintained and up to date! The only thing that would make this a better trip was tempurpedic mattress (wishful thinking)!!!!!!
We enjoyed staying here. It was very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again. The staff was kind and accommodating to our needs. The pool is small but we still enjoyed it with our grandchildren.
Very nice, clean hotel. Front desk clerk was very pleasant. We checked in at 1:30am and it would have been nice to get a discounted price since we weren't staying a full night Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
My job as an nurse practitioner got me a room here. Clean. Friendly. Quiet. Attractive. Standard free breakfast. Always felt safe. Comfy bed.. Good sleep.Stayed there during July, 2021 during the height of COVID-19. Vaccinated people not required to wear masks. About 1/2 of people wearing masks, including staff. Signs requiring masks in public areas everywhere. No trouble avoiding being close to others. Bring your own hand sanitizer and sanitation wipes.
While the signs on the doors of this hotel required masks NO one including staff and guests were wearing them inside the hotel. No soap (or sanitizer) was provided in the guest rooms so I couldn't even was my hands and there was only one sanitizer stand in the lobby. I was warned that the ladder in the pool was dangerous but I discovered that the handrail by the steps leading into the pool was also really wobbly. The mattress is hard and the drapes don't close all the way so not a restful sleep.
I've stayed at this hotel several times since it first opened and have always been very pleased, until our most recent visit for 3 nights. The AC in our first room was extremely loud and failed during the second night. The noise from the AC was extremely obvious and the room should not have been issued in the 1st place. I notified the front desk and we were relocated to a new room around noon on the 3rd day. All was great until another guest was issued a key to our room and tried to enter our room around 1AM, only stopped because we had engaged the metal security latch on the door prior to going to bed. A hotel staff member then tried to access the room twice around 1:15AM, again prevented by the secondary security latch on the door. When I challenged them, they asked who I was and said the room was supposed to be empty. This failure to maintain their records resulted in a very unsafe situation, disruption of our sleep in the middle of the night and a restless sleep afterward. I mentioned the issue when checking out and how upset my wife and I were about the situation. There was an acknowledgement that it should not have happened, but no apology. No one (staff or manager) reached out to me prior to this discussion to acknowledge the issue, to explain what happened, or to apologize in any manner. Due to COVID, the hotel has "grab and go" packaged breakfasts on weekdays that must be reserved the previous day. Per instructions on their web site, I entered separate orders for me and my wife, but only received confirmation for one of them. I asked the receptionist at 9PM if she could confirm the second order and she said she would check and call me back. I received no call by ~10:30PM, so I went back to the lobby to check. The receptionist was outside sitting in a car and chatting with another employee. When she saw me, she quickly informed me that she had confirmed that the second order was received. I didn't ask why she did not contact me as promised. The hotel is also beginning to show its age even though it is relatively new. Besides the noisy and failing AC unit mentioned above, numerous ceiling tiles were missing or water stained in the hallway area in front of the elevators near the lobby. The condition of this hotel, attention to detail and customer service appear to have deteriorated since my last visit. Hopefully management will pay attention and take corrective actions to prevent these types of issues in the future.
Traveled with my sister and my daughter, who both stay in hotels more often than I have lately. Both commented on the cleanliness, overall ammenities, staff friendliness of this Best Western Plus Bolivar Hotel & Suites.
Nice staff, very clean, needed maintenance in bathroom(no hot water pressure, damaged towel rack) Expected more for the price. Location was great. Close to everything needed. Pet friendly option was great even though the charge was a little too much.
Of primary importance, if you say you are COVID compliant, If you say masks are required then you should enforce this! Not one guest other than my sister and myself wore masks in the public areas I never saw a staff person address this with any guest. Then there were the four housekeeping staff witnessed not wearing masks cleaning the room next to ours and then placing the sticker on the outside of the door saying you are committed to our wellness and safety is a lie. These staff people didn't even have a mask on their person, many non-compliant people may have one under their chin, but these girls clearly did not have one at all. So, your sticker is a lie and you got caught. Additionally, when my sister was the on the elevator the rear door opened, and a staff person stepped on with a stack of towels and no mask. My sister asked her if she had a mask to put on and she said no but my sister still had time to step off the elevator! You got caught! This was all addressed with Anita but again I am going to say this is clearly an ongoing practice and you got caught! Your wellness and safety concern is nothing but smoke and mirrors. The absence of enforcement of guests wearing masks in public areas also demonstrates you are not committed to the signage you have posted!
This is the only hotel we stay in when we travel to Bolivar. It is always clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. It is adjacent to many amenities for shopping, etc. We have never had a problem with this hotel.
We were going to spend the day in Springfield, Mo, but all family size rooms were taken or super expensive. Bolivar was an hour closer to us, so figured it might work. The hotel was clean and new and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! It was a great stay! Felt like we were working with friends, not hotel staff! Personal service is a lost art! Thanks for bringing it back!
Shower was not clean, no soap shampoo or conditioner in the dispenser, floors were not vacuumed, previous guest fluids all over the rolling chair, hair dryer didn't work. It was a mess. I would never recommend this hotel at this price.
The hotel is beautiful. Staff was very accommodating and very friendly. Rooms were very clean and well decorated with local pictures from local artist. The pool was warm and the area was well kept. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Beds are on the stiff to hard side.
I loved staying at this BW+. Everyone at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean with a good sized fridge, and the bed was clean and comfy. Having to work as well, the internet was fast and reliable. Would definitely pick this hotel again!
This facility is not one where the ownership simply checked off the boxes "for each area required" to be a "Best Western Plus" This facility is above and beyond what one would expect. Every area has a higher end appearance. The inside dining area is warm and inviting-almost exquisite, and abuts a comfortable patio area. The rooms are nicer than you would expect for the price. Restaurants are nearby and a grocery store is across the street. Save your money and get into the pool 25 minutes earlier than driving on to Springfield..
Very nice, clean room. In a quiet area so no road noise to interrupt your stay. Modern decor and a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again while traveling. The front desk staff member was very friendly and accommodating.
Stayed one night on our way to Arkansas. Hotel looks new, it's beautiful inside and out. Both girls we encountered at front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. All employees we saw were wearing masks. Would definitely recommend.
We were in town for granddaughter's move into dorm at SBU. The location was perfect. We really liked how convenient the location was to "everything" especially the school. I was alarmed when I walked into our room and smelled insecticide. (strong). I asked for another room and was accommodated without difficulty. When going in the second room, it had same odor but not as strong. In the night when going to bathroom, I encountered a small roach when I turned the light on. Needless to say, I understood " the insecticide odor" I do believe the staff will remedy this quickly since this seems otherwise a really nice hotel.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable. Definitely suggest anyone visiting Bolivar Missouri to choose them as where to stay. Looking forward to when breakfast is available again, once CV19 restrictions allows it.
The hotel was very nice and clean. There's a nice outdoor seating area to gather or just relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided sack breakfast (orange, breakfast bar, and pastry) during this time (Covid-19).
Due to the conditions of the hotels in Bolivar I would normally stay 30 minutes away in Springfield. Now that this great hotel is open in Bolivar I will save a lot of time traveling back and forth. The staff was very friendly.
We had an issue with our room but the clerk at the front desk accommodated our needs right away. Their service and friendliness was exceptional. At checkout their computer system was having issues and it charged us twice but the manager was able to take care of it the following business day without any hassles at all and she was friendly and helpful the entire time.
Great hotel and staff. I was nervous about the room being clean and so came with disinfecting supplies. To my pleasant surprise the white disinfectant cloth came up white, even on bathroom floor & john
A very nice hotel that I am planning on coming to again if I can get around the extra 200 for the deposit for the night but I feel like I have been stereotyped to get some more money from me while I djd not make it a mess or take anything out of the 6
Great hotel to stay in really nice staff great location everything in great proximity walmart in walking distance and grocery store in walking distance with everything going on they did a great job with everything
The hotel is nice and new, and the staff is good to work with. When I'm back in Bolivar, this is where I'll stay. As with any hotel, it seems, minor things could use some improvement, but those things are not something that can be easily addressed. It was a good place to stay the week I was in Bolivar.
It was my grandsons' first stay in a hotel and he loved it. We played tic tak toe in the lobby with their board and he was given an extra blanket when I asked for it because he gets really cold sometimes. I enjoyed our stay'
High quality hotel with comfortable beds, heavy glass shower doors, solar panel parking shade with EV charging stations. Very nice, new hotel. Even the clothing iron was a good model and not a budget iron that dumps water on your clothes. The pool and fitness center are clean, and the equipment in fitness center is Matrix brand - very high quality.
Clean, nice decor, new building. Breakfast was good, pool was nice. Staff was friendly. They did lose the guest internet from about 10am- noon, I think they turn it off. Most people dont really stick around til noon but we did. Other than that a really good stay!
Stayed at this hotel while in Bolivar on Business. Exterior and interior appearances were very attractive and welcoming. Staff was pleasant and efficient (front desk and breakfast). Room was neat, clean, and comfortably furnished. Enjoyed the 24-hour fitness center accessibility.
This is the most expensive hotel in Bolivar. The facility is clean and nice and breakfast was good but the checkin process and room service were subpar to another hotel we have used there in Bolivar. We will go back to the other hotel the next time we visit family there.
Very nice new hotel with very good amenities. I did not use the exercise area or the swimming pool. Breakfast items were real good but no hot oatmeal available. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with very good beds.
Very clean, modern hotel that was an excellent place to stay when we were in Bolivar for events at SBU. The staff is very friendly and there was an excellent variety at breakfast. The pool is also a plus.
This hotel was so new, clean, and fresh! The bed was super comfortable. Our breakfast choices were varied and delicious. The lady who prepared the breakfast was so friendly and she continued worked making sure everything was tidy and ready for guests! Our stay was above expectations! We will pursue other Best Western Plus hotels in the future.
Close to SBU college and shopping / resturants. nice views from my room, within walking distance to major chain grocery store. Large well lighted parking lot with charging station for electric vehicles.
The staff here is incredible all away from the front desk to the breakfast Room. An excellent price for the stay. And a great location close to everything you need. It has an indoor pool a workout Room in a beautiful lobby.
Enjoyable stay, very clean, breakfasts lots of choices and very clean rooms and baths.close to stores, churches , resturants, gas stations and everything you would need for a stay away from home Thank you
New or the appearance of New Tesla Charging station, Breakfast was as good as most hotels. Easy to find and good parking. I was here for business and it worked out very good. Now I am just trying to make it to 200 letters.
We had an extended stay while our house was being completed. We couldn't have made a better choice. Anita, the General Manager, knows how to run a hotel! Top notch in every regard. From the lobby to the rooms, to the grounds and everything in between the hotel reflects great management. Her business acumen carries through to her staff, very competent and courteous. Would highly recommend.
Great place to stay when I'm visiting family in my hometown. Breakfast has a lot of options, and is tasty too. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is quiet and the beds are so comfortable. I will stay here again!!
Wonderful staff, good location, large comfortable rooms & very clean. Nice indoor pool & 24 hr work out center. Good space in the reception area for family gathering during Christmas stay. Will stay here again.
We were satisfied with our suite and would stay here again. There is a grocery store across the street making it convenient for meals in suite. The television in our bedroom would only play on on channel.
The lobby was beautiful from the forplace to the Christmas tree. Staff was friendly. I loved seeing all of the local ( Bolivar) art/pictures thru-out the hotel including my suite. The bed, one of the most comfortable I've slept on.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was well prepared. The hotel is centered to the community of Bolivar. excellent hotel to stay at for a reasonable price.
First stay at this new Hotel, we visit family about every 45 days and normally stay at the Comfort Inn(also nice) but got this place for just $7 a night more so thought we'd try it. Still has the new look inside and out, room has 2 double beds which are comfortable as well as chair w/ ottoman and a desk. also has mini fridge & microwave. bathroom has large shower stall(not a tub) which I prefer and I don't believe this is a handicap room, so might be the norm. Lobby and breakfast area decent size and looked to be normal hotel breakfast food, didn't eat but coffee was good. Using indoor pool with kids as I do this review and very nice area, standard size indoor pool but temperature in the area is great, not too hot or muggy. Next door looks to be decent exercise area also. Overall very nice place with friendly front desk staff. Only 2 night stay but they did not clean room when we returned tonight which was disappointing , I believe BW has a sign in the room that states if they don't do the room we will get an extra 500 reward points so hopefully this will hold true since we come to town so often. Parking does have 3-4 parking spots with electric plug in's. I Would recommend this Hotel as long as the pricing stays good.
Excellent property! Would not stay anywhere else in Bolivar. Clean, quiet room, excellent service and great amenities. Highly recommended. Will definitely look for BW suites like this in other locations, had no idea they are so nice.
So clean and quite with a terrific hot breakfast! I loved the eggs and potatoes. Waffle maker one of my favorite options. We had to shorten our stay and the staff made the change easily. Our room was large with plenty of room.
We have stayed at the Best Western Plus in Bolivar, twice and will definitely stay again. Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff! Good choices for breakfast. Gym area is small, but the equipment was very nice and was able to get in my workout.
We have stayed at this hotel a few times now and we book their King suite which has a full kitchen in it so we can make our own meals while we're there. We love that the bedroom is separate from the living so we can put our kids to bed and stay up in the living area and sleep on the pull out couch. The table and chairs is great for eating breakfast and it makes traveling very comfortable. The room has always been spotless with clean bedding.
Nice new hotel, everyone was very friendly and courteous. They have a great hot breakfast with ample seating for everyone and the parking is well lighted at night.. It's in a easy to access area with near by shopping available.
We stayed over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It was our first time staying here. The staff was very helpful, especially with information about local spots. We definitely plan to stay at this hotel on our next visit to the area!!!!!
I enjoyed staying at best Western plus. .the staff was great. the rooms were real clean.the breakfast was a good start to our day. It's in a great location close to every you would ever need, within a mile of the hotel.
We typically stay in Springfield ... love the classic route 66 motels ... but we may have found our new SW Missouri destination! Thirty minutes in any direction and you can find great scenery or action packed entertainment.
When you are wanting to stay in Bolivar, Mo. my suggestion is definitely The Best Western Plus Bolivar Hotel and Suites. I had a wonderful stay there. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful, they have a great breakfast in the mornings, the rooms are spacious and modern. You won't regret your choice to stay here.
Clean, Excellant place to stay! Close to family. Within a short drive of Springfield, MO. Good Breakfast. It makes a nice go to place for family time. With Aldi's across the street, we can get plenty of snacks to enjoy in our room if we decide to just relax.
Very nice, new hotel. Lots of parking. Nice staff. Will stay here again. Hot breakfast-No fruit. I don't have anything else to say. This review site requires 200 characters which makes me regret agreeing to do a review.
By far my favorite hotel when i visit, i even go out of my way to stay there. Smiling, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff, great rooms that are very clean and the lots of choices for breakfast plus the hot menu items change from day to day to keep things interresting
This was my second stay within 4 months. Shortage of cleaning staff resulted in me waiting for a requested room upon check in time. Bathroom floor did not look like it had been swept. Breakfast sausage and eggs were overcooked. Would still recommend this hotel and I will stay again. I hope to see improvements next time. The staff is very friendly
I have stayed in this facility a few times since it opened. I have always been satisfied. It is esthetically pleasing, and the staff is wonderful. There are a variety of breakfast items, something to please everyone. We always enjoy our stay.
Keep this gem up over the coming years it is a great place to get away if you and your significant other would like some alone time or if your from the city or states away this is a good place to come and stay it is nice good clean well serviced breakfast food is good and ppl are professional.
We stopped in Bolivar on our way back to Nebraska. Reviews were good on Trip Advisor. We were very pleased. A new hotel. Very convenient. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Quiet room. Nice breakfast area with the usual breakfast foods, hot dishes, cereal, oatmeal, waffle maker. Very clean. Would highly recommend.
This hotel looks brand new, the staff was very nice, the bed SO comfortable. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the lack of water pressure in my shower. The lobby has games set up and is very welcoming. Also, right across from an Aldi store, which you can't beat!
We travel to this hotel to see our college student, and highly recommend this property!! The location is great, it is newer, so everything still feels fresh! The reservationist was patient with me as I phoned in late at night to check availability. The lobby is very spacious, the staff helped us with a few business issues as well, and the breakfast is hot and filling!
We really enjoyed our stay here, even if it was for one night. We were fortunate a room opened up right before Homecoming weekend at SBU. We would definitely come back again the next time we come to Bolivar.
This quaint little College town located in the just in the upper Ozarks....has always lacked a true businessman or frequent traveler hotel. They hit a home run on this build..... enough power out lets no matter USB or old fashion plug-in to meet anyone's needs. The location is perfect wither you are on a college visit or business close to everything that make this town great. From fuel to dinning out or grabbing something form either ALDI's or WAL-MART. Big hit in the "pantry" some cold adult refreshments hit the spot. Best part of all the staff trained properly and have that Ozark charm.. On my go to list from now on.
Our room was very comfortable, and I got an excellent night's sleep. The breakfast surprised me with all the options - eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, hot and cold cereal, lots of toppings, plus waffles, and a coffee bar.
Good place to stay. A little hard to find as their advertising is extremely limited. Not even identified on road signs on some of the major roads. Very clean. Very presentable. Staff was nice. Would stay there again. Now that I can find it.
Our son plays football at SBU so we make several visits a year to attend his games. This hotel is new, clean, and nice. Breakfast is good, the fitness room is well equipped, and the staff is really very kind and helpful. The rooms are larger than you would expect with big tv's and the hotel is literally right around the corner from the campus. We like to get a suite which has a great kitchenette including full size refrigerator and a sitting area so we can all hang out as a family. This is an excellent place to stay when we visit our son.
When we come to visit our daughter we make sure to make reservations to stay. They have a pool, exercise equipment , and even a washer and dryer if needed by the vending machines. The breakfast is always great.
small town, but modern, clean hotel with big rooms, excellent service. better than average work out room as well as indoor pool. perfect for those traveling to the area for business or vacation. there is also a very large outdoor seating area out back which is quiet and comfortable.
Although I was a bit disappointed with this hotel, it is still the best in Bolivar by far so if you are looking for a place to stay in town, stay here. Very clean room and hotel. Still looked brand new. Super cool to see several car charging stations. Shower was roomy and the bed was pretty comfortable. The front desk staff at all hours seemed indifferent. None of them made us feel welcome. The young lady who checked me in took a long time and was obviously confused by something. I also greatly prefer the thermostats that allow you to set a temperature and it uses the heat or A/C accordingly. It doesn't usually matter in the winter or summer but during spring and autumn (like now in October), the evening temps drop quite a bit and you have to choose whether to have it set on COOL or HEAT before going to bed. WiFi stayed connected but the speed was sometimes slow. There was a strange scraping noise coming from the cupboards in the kitchen. Really bizarre. Made it difficult for my friend trying to sleep in that area on the sofa bed. (Although we had fun joking about the place being haunted). Also, the pantry next to the front desk was woefully understocked Best Western Plus Bolivar gives you a clean, comfortable room at a fair price but doesn't really provide anything to elevate it above the level of your average hotel. A friendlier staff, better WiFi and more user friendly thermostat would definitely make this a solid 4 stars.
My wife and I were in the area visiting her parents and chose to stay here. We were very happy with the staff and were blown away by the quality of the breakfast when Virgil was cooking! That man knows how to make some real good food and always focuses to make it the best that it can be!
My family visited Bolivar for the first time this weekend, and Best Western Plus exceeded expectations plus some! Our late check in was a breeze, the room upon arrival was extremely clean, already cooled down, and ready for us to enjoy a great nights sleep. The beds and the pillows were absolutely wonderful! The shower area was very clean and the bathroom amenities were fabulous. My sister attends school at SBU, so we will be back soon and THIS hotel will Always be our go to! We upgraded to the King Suite also when we booked, and it was very, very reasonably priced. We traveled with our 1 year old, and everything was very toddler friendly. Highly recommend this hotel for your next stay.
This is a nice new hotel. It's convenient to stores, gasoline, and restaurants in the area. We found rooms to be very nice and comfortable. The staff helped us and accommodated our every. Family visited us at Best Western and commented how they would also like to stay there.
Very clean hotel and staff was awesome. My niece goes to SBU so we come to see her everyone in a while. Super close and affordable. Would definitely would stay there again the next time we drive down.
Nice comfortable bed, by far the best choice if staying in Bolivar. Housekeeping needs to pick up their game though, rooms were clean, but needed to be more thorough. Staff was super friendly. Note, rates are cheaper online and staff will match online rates.
We are on a 2 week motorcycle trip. We have stayed at multiple hotels and this hotel was, by far, my favorite. It was reasonably priced, clean, internet was fast, fitness room was good and the breakfast was fantastic! Totally recommend it!
Went for a family reunion over Labor day Weekend. Staff was very friendly and accommoidating to all. Would go back next time we are in Bolivar. We were able to access the outdoor patio and fire pit area each evening allowing us to all be together.
The rooms we very nice quiet and clean. And breakfast was better than some other hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Bolivar area. Staff was friendly and timely. No complaints
Stayed three nights over a holiday weekend. New and clean, adequate and fresh breakfast. The first morning they didn't change or refresh my room. The elevator locations on floor three were noisy at night.
We had a family reunion in town and we received excellent service and rate with a block booking. Everyone commented on the great staff and how nice the rooms and hotel were. The breakfast also received great reviews by our family
My mom lives in Bolivar, so I visit often and stay at this hotel. Every stay has been the same. Excellent! The staff has always been so helpful and friendly. It is clean and very comfortable. When my mom became ill, they were so helpful to make sure I had a room even when they were almost fully booked. I can't say enough good things about helpful they have been each time.
Quiet area, nice staff. The breakfast was passable but hearty. The breakfast area gets super full so had to eat in my room. Be sure to hang the clean room hanger on your door or you won't get your room freshened. I had no idea of this so after the first night we came back to a smelly room from the trash of leftover food from the dinner before. Not good!
You can never go wrong with a Best Western, but the only thing that was awful was the fact that there were crickets EVERYWHERE. They were only outside but they would get in your cars and on me and it was gross! But if you like that kind of thing then this place was a nice place to stay at.
I had a great stay I have a grandson out there in Brighton at the good samariton boys ranch that I will be visiting twice a month. I will be staying here each time. its easy to get in and out of. lots of places to eat near by. close to the main road to springfield. just a pleasant place to stay.
Wonderful property that is new, fresh, clean and was surely more that we expected. The staff made us feel very comfortable and every member was very hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and the options were amazing.
Hotel nice & quiet. Clean & staff very friendly & helpful. Location very convenient. Breakfast fair but rest of amenities make up for it. Pool & workout room nice. Loved the mini suite with couch area.
We have enjoyed our hotel stay at this location until this last visit, please get hotel back to cleanliness shape it was in a year ago. I am a parent of an SBU Student, which I plan to stay at this hotel again. I hope our stay is better than the last visit.
Would definitely stay at Best Western Plus! Reasonable price, great location, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Front desk staff super accomdating and went above and beyond to help me out. Hotel is roughly a year old so everyone is new, tastefully decorated, free WiFi and wine/beer onsite.
I'm a widower; you made my little families visit very comfortable. Thank you. The room was so decorative, comfortable, and warm. The breakfast assortment was tempting and pleasant; pleasing and satisfying.
Fantastic hotel! Clean, friendly and very welcoming! We will definitely stay there again. We absolutely loved the staff. The pool and pool area was clean and water temp was perfect. Breakfast was very good and the best part for me was the bed! So comfortable!
We stayed while we were visiting family in the area. The staff were very friendly, pool was perfect temperature and the breakfast was well presented and delicious. We will stay again the next time we are in town.
I stayed at Best Western Plus Bolivar Hotel & Suites for a night in early August, 2019. I arrived late (around midnight) and left early (around 6:30), so didn't have opportunity to sit around the fire pit or use the pool. But, the night clerk was very gracious and helpful as I dealt with a package I needed for work the next day not having been received. The room was comfortable and clean, with plenty of space. There was a good variety of options for breakfast, and all that I had was delicious.
The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast offered a variety of selections from dry cereal, eggs, biscuits and gravy to waffles.
we were there to drop our son off for college and everything was in good condition and they welcomed us very nicely.. its always clean and friendly staff. the location is great and plenty of parking. the bathroom are always clean. Breakfast is very good and great coffee.
Great experience, very busy the night we stayed. The staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, dining area is large. Will stay here again in the future. Convenient location near the college.
Hotel is in a great location, a block away from Southwest Baptist University. Great service, staff was very helpful. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was also very good too, they had a great variety to choose from.
If you are a by where near the Bolivar/Springfield area this is a great place to stay. It's new, modern, clean, quiet, at a good price. The location is near hwy 13 and is an easy drive to a variety of restaurants.
We stayed at the Bolivar Best Western Plus during our Annual Family Reunion. The Hotel is new and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the staff is friendly, they have an indoor pool, and their hot complimentary breakfast is one of the best I've had anywhere, especially for a hotel!
I was in town for a course and was so happy this hotel was available. The staff is phenomenal, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself has a modern feel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Bolivar.
Came down for a wedding and very pleasantly surprised. Seemingly brand new and very comfortable. Nice breakfast as well. Had a nice "double" suite. Very reasonably priced as well. Would highly recommend.
While visiting Missouri on business, I booked a room at the Best Western Plus. The day of my stay, someone called from the hotel to confirm the reservation. I liked having that peace of mind that my room would be available when I arrived. The lobby area was very clean, and the front desk clerk friendly and helpful, even helping with suggestions for dinner. She was busy on the phone trying to help another guest with a reservation when I arrived; I think she probably could have done with some help, but she was efficient. My room was very nice! I booked a King room. It was clean, and very roomy! The bed was comfortable, as well. I did have a concern since I was right next to the elevator, but it was fine. The breakfast area is quite large, with the normal selections for a free hotel breakfast. The best part was the coffee! Normally I don't enjoy hotel coffee, but theirs was very tasty. This is a quality hotel at a great price; I would stay again!
Everything about this hotel was exceptional. Beautiful and clean. Spacious rooms. Modern design. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Breakfast was great. Will definitely stay here again while visiting the area.
In all my travels thru 21 years of Military. Staying in motels and hotels from Coco Beach FL to Anchorage AK and Vandenberg AFB CA to Wilkes-Bourg PA this is, by far, the best Hotel I've stayed in. Being a newly constructed building may have some bearing on my grading system, however, you can have the fastest race car on the track, but without a great pit crew you won't win many races. Every employee here always greeted my family and I with a genuine smile and a pleasant "Hello". I have not met the manager here, but whomever they are, they should be a proud coach of their team. WIFI, cable TV, free breakfast, and a pool are some of the amenities we Americans have come to expect. Those electing to stay here will not be disappointed.
This hotel is clean, quiet, and accepts dogs. We were very pleased with the room, pet area outside, and breakfast My pillow was too hard, but that's what I get for not bringing my own, as I usually do.
Great place for the price. Very clean and modern. The stair areas had a bit of a musty smell. Continental breakfast was about average but sufficient. Staff was very cordial and helpful. My top pick next time I'm in the area.
Spotless, large room and large bathroom too! Friendly staff, beautiful facility, yummy breakfast, everything you want in a place to stay while visiting in Bolivar. Located close to restaurants and shopping, lots within an easy walking distance, yet a quiet location set back from the highway.
I stayed here for business and it is the best hotel in town, I like how convenient it is to things I needed. Also nice place outside to sit and relax. I used the laundry room too while staying, it is very new and clean.
Phenomenal hotel, especially considering the price. Came here on business and was pleasantly surprised by the Best Western. The rooms, fitness center, and dining area were first rate and would mandate a much higher price in most places in the country. The bathroom is so tastefully done that it resembles the spa more so than a standard hotel restroom. The gym was furnished with absolutely the best equipment I've ever seen in a hotel. Breakfast was delicious and fresh with an extensive range of choices. The staff at the front desk as well as in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful. What struck me the most, however, was the cleanliness of the place. I was convinced that the hotel had just been opened and was surprised to learn that it had been operating for over a year. Overall, a most impressive stay. Would welcome the opportunity to stay there again
room and facilities clean as expected. we had problems with the breakfast service and the front desk giving us inaccurate weekday breakfast times. would have been nice of the staff to at least try to correct this. no effort was made.
Host hotel for my motorcycle group-Women On Wheels--held our Missouri state rally here. Room was clean, staff friendly. Being on motorcycle, the covered parking was nice. The only drawback I found was that the shampoo/soap wall containers were empty, otherwise the room was great.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Bolivar MO on May 20th..We were in town celebrating our two kiddos birthdays with friends and family.. Staff went above and beyond for us. Jo is amazingly friendly and helpful and made our check in a breeze! She and and other staff made sure we had space in the breakfast area to have cake and punch and for our kiddos to open gifts.. We had 9 kiddos that had an amazing time in the pool.. It was clean, comfortable and they made sure we had plenty of towels for everyone to dry off with. There is a shower to rise off with and bathroom to change clothes if needed, located right in the pool area. So nobody had to run back and forth to our room which was awesome! It was a great time had by all! And we are so appreciative of them for everything! Our room was beautiful, clean and had comfortable beds and lots of cozy pillows on the beds ( which I wish they sold ) The bathroom was a bit snug but the showers are roomy and amazing! We had plenty of water pressure and hot water even after 4 kiddos had taken shower's. We actually had some really bad storms that evening and the tornado sirens went off and staff handled everything with great professional care and kept everyone calm after calling everyone from their rooms to come down to the lobby area and into where there safe area is. Breakfast was amazing.. Fresh, hot foods, including biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs and you could even make breakfast burritos which my kids loved! Waffle's, create your own yogurt, muffins and all the normal stuff.. but it was all very tasty! And the coffee was yummy! We have already reserved a room on the Fourth Of July, to watch the fireworks at SBU and let the kids enjoy the pool again.. Thank you all for everything ❤️
Very nice hotel and the staff could not be beat. They were very friendly, they even came out and helped take pictures of my mom and her sister who we were visiting. The weather was terrible, but staff kept us safe from the tornados.
The staff was very helpful and attentive to all guests. Check in was easy, check out was just as easy. Sleeping arrangements worked well for my golf team and the hotel was very quiet. Location to the tournament was perfect!
We stayed on a Sunday night, and it met or exceeded all expectations. The clerk was top notch, the room clean and comfortable - and best of all quiet. There are less expensive places to stay in Bolivar, and they are probably fine. But I would likely stay here at the Best Western.
First time at this hotel for a family visit. The hotel is new, so as expected the building was clean and nice. Pluses: continental breakfast was hot and tasty, all the usual ammenities were available. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and the air conditioner was NOT loud. Negatives: The shower head was a low flow water saver--AWFUL. The water just trickled out and there was no way to adjust it. If you like a normal spray to get clean this shower was NOT it. I can appreciate the desire to save resources (lower the water use) but come on, if I need a little more pressure give me the option of turning it up--I am paying over a $100 a night! Soap/Shampoo/Conditioner dispenser in the shower was a nice idea, save trash by not having to throw away a little bottle, HOWEVER, the dispenser was AWFUL. I pressed to have some shampoo come out and a tiny drop no bigger than a water drop falls into my hand. You can't wash yourself with a speck of soap. Nice idea (dispenser) but terrible execution. Maids knocked on my door before we had left for the day and they asked what was needed. Gave us towels and we told them to come back in a little bit after we were gone to make up the room....well, they didn't. And they didn't make up our room the whole 3 nights we were there. All they did was dump the trash. Petty complaints, but these are the reasons why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars.
We were moving across country and needed a hotel that accepted pets. The staff here was very friendly. The hotel is almost new and spotless. The breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts. The town pretty much has only fast food restaurants, but there are a couple of pizza deliveries there.
If you're in the Bolivar area, the newly-constructed Best Western Plus is a great reason to stay for a little while. Right across the street from the new Aldi grocery store, Best Western Plus is also located near several other businesses--including the Jasmine Chinese Restaurant and other restaurants and fast food favorites. Southwest Baptist University is located a few convenient miles north. Alumni will find comfy spots to sit, converse, and reminisce, as the Best Western Plus provides a spacious lobby and a patio area (complete with fire pit!). And don't forget to pack a swimsuit and workout clothes, as a gym and swimming pool are located on the premises. Other reasons to stay at Best Western include a fresh continental breakfast each morning with hot items, pastries, and well-stocked beverage and coffee stations; clean and comfortable rooms; pet-friendly accommodations; and discounts for SBU alumni and visitors.
Great breakfast. Hotel is very nice as it's new. Had one problem which the manager Anita addressed which was awesome of her to do. We will be staying here in the future as well as recommending other family to stay when visiting. Only 30 mins from Springfield attractions. Walmart and Aldi are right next door for any needs.
Great new BW+. Clean, inviting, modern, new in ‘18. Good free breakfast, nice pool/workout center. Very friendly staff. Very homey and inviting lobby. Even has electric car charging stations and some covered parking. We will definitely stay here when in the area next year.
The hotel is great - clean, nice, beautiful lobby, good breakfast, and so very close to the college campus. It is extremely convenient for us. Rooms are very comfortable and available in a variety of options. This is our Bolivar hotel!
Super clean and very nice staff . Breakfast area very clean . Rooms were clean and had extra pillows waiting in the room . Made my reservations over the phone so were all checked in when we arrived .. The kids all liked the wifi and I liked the 2 tvs Roll out sofa was very confy too!
The staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are spacious and very clean. I recommend this hotel very highly. Excellent experience and will return in the future. High quality hotel with qualified staff.
This is a fairly new property and our first time to stay here. Everything is top notch. The staff were all over the top trying to be sure that everything was perfect. We were so impressed. We visited Bolivar for a 50th Anniversary Celebration, and since several guests were staying at this hotel, we asked if it would be okay to gather in the common area off the lobby after our dinner. No problem. It was lovely. We brought our own refreshments and happily extended our celebration with about 15 people. Room was large and comfortable. Good value for the price.
The service was great, right from the get go. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The lobby was very inviting and clean. The rooms were beautiful with plenty of room for our son's pack n play with space to spare. Overall a great experience.
This is a quality built hotel with several perks. There are several covered parking spots and even ones with plug-ins for electric cars. The staff were unusually friendly; I even received a smile from the receptionist before I came through the glass entry doors! Check in and check out was very professional and helpful. The decor is very nice and attractive. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a full-sized shower. We only stayed for one night as we were traveling through. The rate was very reasonable. We most certainly would stay there again if the opportunity presents itself!!
As of October 2018, this facility is less than 6 months old. As one would expect in a new facility, everything is in good working order. The hotel is very nice, furnishings are more upscale than other hotels I have stayed at. Staff is very friendly and make you feel as if you are at home.
This was a very nice place to stay, especially in a small town. The staff was especially friendly. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Everything was new, clean and fresh. The only negative was the staff was having trouble keeping food items replenished during breakfast, and the pancake machine was broken both mornings that I ate breakfast. Even so, there were many selections to choose from, so this wasn't a hardship.
Staff is friendly and outgoing. Very clean and comfortable hotel!!! The breakfast was ok so if you have a large group make sure you notify the staff. The patio is awesome and the lobby is a great sopt to hang out.
Great, brand new hotel. Nicely decorated, very polite staff, lovely lobby area, professional service staff and plenty of parking. The location was wonderful. Very close to the college campus. Comfortable room.
I stayed here while my son stayed in a dorm during a college tour. Location could not be closer. Room and building very new, clean and up to date. Breakfast was wonderful and numerous excellent amenities. Would highly recommend if you're visiting SBU.
It's new & fresh. Whole motel was very clean. Staff was nice & helpful. I was place n a room with a nice view. Location was good. Gym had some nice equipment. Highly recommend to anyone who is in the Bolivar area.
New Best Western is a welcome addition to the Bolivar area. Staff and management are very friendly, and property is clean. Rooms are well appointed, although water pressure in shower is a little low and the air conditioning is extremely loud. Staff also like to turn that off during cleaning, so the room took some time to cool down every night. Otherwise, a good new hotel.
Nice room that was clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds, wifi, microwave and refrigerator and breakfast not to mention the friendly staff. Good location in the center of Bolivar. Would definitely stay here again.
Spouse and I were part of a conference group that stayed 2 nights. This hotel is immaculate from the lobby to the bathrooms. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and all of the TV channels were digital, no elongated fuzzy local news. Breakfast is above adequate, tasty and well managed and kept clean. Very nice exercise equipment at on end away from the busy parts of the hotel. Staff was incredible, helpful, personable and responsive. Can't imagine staying anywhere else.
We had to change hotels at the last minute and chose Best Western Plus. The staff was very fast and efficient. They knew we were on our way to work and took amazing care of us. The hotel is beautiful. Clean, modern, and conviently located.
Very nice visit: Newer, Clean, Nice Room, and a courteous staff. There is an onsite pool and fitness center and a very nice patio common area. Very nicely appointed building would recommend staying here and will afaon if I return.
Liked the location of the hotel. Close to walmart, food, and the highway. The service was great from check in to check out. We only stayed one evening, so did not use the pool or gym. The pool was open until 11pm. ( my kids were disappointed we did not have suits). The beds were comfortable
Great place to stay, priced right, free quality breakfast, nice pool and workout room. Super clean and new! Directv satellite so all our channels were familiar just like at home. Big walk in shower was great. The beds and pillows were super comfortable as well. The pool was great for kids ranged from 3 to 5 feet so it was easy to keep an eye on little ones swimming. by Kelly Chapman, Rolla, MO
The overall experience exceeded our expectations for a Best Western property. It is new, clean, spacious, staffed with friendly employees, and better appointed than many lodging options with higher prices. The check in clerk was outgoing, took an interest in us, and was helpful recommending dining options. Likewise, the check out clerk was personable, engaged, and invited us back. We did not use the pool, work out room or outdoor patio sitting areas during our stay, but they were they all appeared inviting. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and provided a good night's sleep. The only reason I did not give the hotel a five star rating is the complimentary breakfast. The variety was sufficient, but refills were slow in coming, and we found none of the hot items stocked in the middle of the service period. That one issue aside, this hotel offered great value for the price, and if we are ever in Bolivar again, will stay here without hesitation.
Top of the line Hotel, by far the BEST Best Western Plus I've ever stayed at. This seems more like a resort type Hotel! Rooms were very plush and overall hotel was very beautiful. A nice patio out back with a fire pit made it that much better
This hotel was just built a month or so ago and it is awesome!!! This is the place to stay! Clean clean clean rooms and friendly staff! Free breakfast! If we are ever in the area again, we will stay here!
Stayed here while visiting family in July. We were able to snag a suite, which was well appointed and much like a Homewood Suites. Breakfast was comparable to any budget chain like a Hampton or HIE. Like most new hotels, everything was very nice and the staff were great too. Will definitely stay again.
Every aspect of our stay was top notch! The hotel, which had only been open a month at the time of our stay, was immaculate and gorgeously appointed. The bed was perfect...not too soft, and not too firm. The shower was a thing of beauty with the spotless shower doors in place of the traditional disgusting shower curtains normally used in other hotels. If I absolutely HAD to find something wrong with the hotel, and I really would rather not, it would be that the oatmeal on both mornings was a solid mass of oats in the warming pot. See? Trivial. Literally everything else was amazing!
Very new, modern hotel. Great amenities, professional staff. Checked in very late without making a reservation, staff was happy to help. Check in was fast, parking lot was well lit and had plenty of space for our truck and trailer. Location was nice, right across the street from a gas station and close to the highway. The mini store was well stocked.
Hotel was very nice and very clean. The room was large with a very spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of channels provided with the TV. The internet and room workstation was good and made my work easier to complete. I enjoyed the breakfast.
