The bed was very comfortable and we had everyrhing we needed. The lady rose at the front desk was very sweet and talked with us alot. I used to be a housekeeper and work front desk at a hotel in corpus so we had that in common. She made the experience wonderful since we first got to the hotel no one talked to us at all but as soon as she got to work she was very pleasant and welcoming. Thank you for making the day better rose.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful with so many delicious choices loved the yogurt, and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The water pressure was awesome and perfect for these sweaty Texas days. It was quiet and the staff were so nice. Would highly recommend to anyone.
We were hot and tired. The room AC was cold and the beds were comfy. We slept very well. I gave it a 4 star bc there was no lock on the bathroom door. The closet door handle was loose & hung and didn't work. The bathroom tub faucet was tilted and the hot/cold circle was loose & spun. I put very hot water in the tub instead of warm water. They did not clean the room. I reported all of this. No maintenance or house keeping were called. Apparently they only clean every 4th day for extended stays. We stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was clean, well stocked and adequate. They offered fruit, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy. The pool is in the rear and private. I like that. Pool towels were offered after we asked. The Fitness center is small but has one of everything. Besides the evening guy eating chips, wiping his mouth and handing me back my credit card, the staff were nice and helpful. We would probably stay here again. Getting in and around Boerne was very easy.
Even though I didn't get the room on the floor that I reserved, the room that I had was clean and comfortable. However, traveling with a dog, I was placed in the middle of the second floor! Rather inconvient for traveling with a pet and making the reservation a week ahead of arrival. The freezer did need defrosting and the sink faucet was loose. There was no designeated dog potty area, no potty bags or handy trash can. The man at the desk when I arrived could barely drag himself from his cell phone to register me. He was disrespectful of another staff member and most unwelcoming. He hardly had time to answer a few questions I had. There were two staff, Averie and an Oriental lady, that were very nice and welcoming; otherwise, everyone else just ignored me the 5+ times I walked through the lobby. Very unfriendly location. Breakfast was mostly gone by 7am and not replaced. Don't know if it was replaced later, as I needed to get on the road. Lighting outside was good in the parking lot; important to a female traveling alone. However, the area where I was told I could potty my dog, wasn't lit. Doubt I'll return to this hotel, even with a nice, comfortable room. Cooler worked fine too.
Mold on ceiling in bathroom, door was so messed up to bathroom, dresser drawer wouldn't stay closed, and sad hot breakfast choices and didn't refill when empty. Have to request for room to be cleaned or for fresh towels.
Excellent Accomodation, friendly staff, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was sufficient with a good selection
Every time we go to Boerne we've stayed at the Best Western. It is a great location, clean, friendly and price can't be beat.
I've never had this great of check in service as I did at this hotel. I was immediately recognized as a Diamond member and was directed to here the cold drinks were to get one - not just a water bottle but an of the sodas that they offered. I got my fee drink , walked back to the counter, he immediately handed my my keys. I was like "WOW"! I didn't partake of the breakfast, so I am not aware of how it was, but the dining room is grand with a lot of seating.
good place, nice and easy to get to, lots of parking, nice outside pool, good breakfast, really nice place to stay with friendly people. i will be back
Great stay and quality of rooms are paramount. Front desk is friendly and courteous wanting to assist in anything needed to better your stay.
Maynard went out of his way to make sure we had a great room and peace and quiet. He acknowledged our diamond status too. Thank you for helping us out with the door issue. It shows that you enjoy your job. We will definitely be back when in town. Very clean. Thanks!
This hotel is clean, the rooms are just what you'd expect, the breakfast is yummy and the location is close to downtown. Don't check in before 3 (which we often do when we roll into a town). There is an extra charge.
When we checked in the room wasn't exactly what we needed. The clerk upgraded our reservation to accommodate the special needs. I have stayed at this BW several times now and found it always a nice stay.
Such welcoming desk staff, immediately offered a chilled water bottle. Disappointed only by lack of vending machines (only beverage machine was available; no snack machines). Breakfast was very good; so many choices. Coffee, tea, cocoa always available, 24-7.
The BW Boerne Inn & Suites is located off I 10 in a small town, outside of San Antonio, TX; however, GPS directions to the hotel were odd, as we had to drive through an apartment complex to get to the entrance of the hotel. Once my family arrived at 1:30am, from a long-distance drive in a moving truck, we encountered men sitting in a car in the parking lot. I immediately felt unsafe and rushed into the lobby for assistance. There was no hotel staff visible at the desk as expected, as I called earlier that evening to notify the hotel in advance of our late check-in between 12midnight and 1am. After ringing the front desk bell repeatedly, a young lady with purple hair and black eyeglasses emerged from the curtain behind the desk. She looked out of it, her hair a mess, her pants unbuttoned and fully unzipped, and her underwear showing. I asked the young lady if Security was present at the hotel, and she said no. I informed her of the men sitting in a car outside. She was not aware. I felt a sense of unease and in no way would feel comfortable staying the night, and therefore decided it was time to go. I told the young lady that we did not feel safe staying the night and would be calling back for a full refund. Once I reached the General Manager, he would only give me a partial refund, because he said he is losing money for the 2 rooms I booked. True story.
We have stayed here several times over the last few months. The rooms are consistent and clean. The staff was helpful and enthusiastic. We will use it again. Requested the same room and was accommodated.
Perfect location! This hotel is clean and the rooms are confortable. The hotel is peaceful. Our family enjoyed the pool. Wheelchair accessible. Convenient location near restaurants and shopping. Also close enough to go to Fredericksburg or San Antonio for peaches or nightlife. Highly recommend! Parking lot is well lit.
Decent stay, VERY clean, ,room stayed cool in the horrible heat wave, had to leave early due to a VERY VISIBLE allergic reaction, a refund for the last night would have been appropriate. However we were not offered one and I was in no mood to pursue as I was miserable and itchy. Reaction NOT caused by hotel.
Iam a traveling certified nursing assistant and was working in Boerne for four days. Best Western was quiet at night and I slept really good. I recommend staying there. They also have trave nurses discounts
Very nice facility. Room was clean and beds were decent. Staff was very pleasant. The breakfasts were very good with a variety of choices. Very good value. Short drive to the town center but that was no problem. Definitely recommend for a pleasant stay.
Were driving back to Texas from Tucson AZ. After a day of driving 800 miles it's not easy to settle down for a great night's rest, but that's what happened. The property is conveniently located right off of I-10, and the energy of the place was welcoming.
easy to get to, good parking and lights at night, good breakfast in morning, like the waffles in the morning. clean place, seen they had a pool but did not use it, never enough time for everything, good beds, be back again one day.
This Inn in Boerne, Texas was very clean and in order. Mr. Tony provided excellent service at check in. In the morning he also kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked. Several people other than me commented that he was ontop of things!!!
The internet is so slow, my data plan is faster. There were 3 cars vandalized in the parking lot, one being ours! There is no signs posted about no responsibilities for damage in the parking lot. The manager was off-site and would not come in while there was a police situation going on at his facility.
We enjoyed our large comfortable pet friendly room on the ground floor. There was plenty of area to walk the dog as well. The hotel was clean and nice. It had good amenities. (larger mini fridge with freezer option. microwave, large TV, nice desk and living room area & mellow yellow bulb lighting) Definitely would stay there again.
We came to Boerne for a family emergency and stayed here for two nights. The hotel is easy to reach from the hiighway, check-in worked well. The room was comfortable, although not large. It was surprisingly quiet despite the location at the highway. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The hotel has no other amenities. The breakfast was "plastic-style" as usual for this hotel category.. Unfortunately the breakfast was not well taken care of. Eggs and sausages were lukewarm at best, and we did not come late. No refill of the eggs until we requested it at the reception desk. Limited selection of foods (no yogurt, for instance). This was a btt disappointing given the price of the hotel night. Other than that it was ok. The staff was responsive and helpful.
You can tell this hotel was actually a better grade at some point, but the maintenance has not been done. The bathroom door would not catch and stay closed, there were multiple broken/loose titles in there, the AC unit was utterly worthless, even in mild outdoor temperatures, and the beds were hard as a rock. The location was good, the outside was clean and felt safe, the staff were nice, but the rooms just left so much to be desired. Additionally, tried breakfast first day, about an hour into it being available. The gravy was cold despite being in a warming pot, and the egg omlette things were still runny in the middle somehow.
The room smelled of mildew and the AC was super loud, which kept us up at night. The carpet was disgusting. It felt oily and not very clean. The food at breakfast was stale. The hot items seemed to be okay, but everything else was stale, hard, and hadn't been checked for freshness in a while. All the toppings for the oatmeal were bad. The raisins were dried out, the brown sugar was just one big rock that you had to chip little pieces from and the granola was stale. Muffins were hard as bricks, along with the cinnamon buns. I have some reservations with BW in the future that I might cancel if this is going to be the kind of quality I have to look forward to. Maybe this was a one off, but I would not recommend this hotel.
The room was clean and well presented. The AC seemed to struggle to keep the room cool and part of the problem is that the curtains kept most of the cool air from going into the room. The curtains also showed sign of previously having mold on them. Didn't get to see the breakfast because of doctor's appointments and will stay here in the future
Excellent hotel, friendly, laid back and quiet. The staff are helpful. Rooms were excellent size and had everything we needed, comfortable beds, tv, fridge, microwave, coffee machine. The best was the breakfast- great selection. I would just say I would prefer plates and cutlery rather than paper plate and plastic forks etc. I will definitely return.
Mold in the room. Very hard to breathe. Mold coming from bathroom sink. Carpets dirty in the room. Keys did not open side doors. Very hard to get to from south bound side of Interstate 10. No sign to show the way to go. One way is one way from north bound I 10, then you have to find a way to get there from south bound side of interstate. Needs to be a sign at the entrance.
stayed for a week it was great! had the room for 7 days always had coffee room was clean everyone was so nice. will stay again for sure lots of room, lots to do and close to everything. staff was amazing
We were very happy to stumble across here at Best Western Hotel in Boerne Texas. We had reservations at another hotel I won't mention with a 3.8 rating and was so disappointed because of the appearance of the hotel and the fact the free breakfast they advertised was something short of a muffin and some coffee. This hotel is very clean and they keep the grounds looking nice too. I highly recommend this to anyone in Boerne to stay. By the way, hotel cost here is pretty high but for the cost here, it was worth it.
The rooms are tiny and not well cleaned. If you have any physical issues, please be aware that the toilets are so low you might need help getting up. Also, there is highway noise, so be sure to ask for a quieter room if you don't want to hear trucks on the interstate all night. Further, there is no signage to the back road to the hotel. If you are not coming off the interstate exit ramp and are just on a local street, you will have trouble finding the hotel.
This hotel is conveniently located off I-10 West. It was very quiet and clean. There were multiple breakfast choices and all were excellent. The room was very clean. It is a great choice for travelers.
Their room layout is pretty spartan, which suits me just fine. I don't feel like I have to go through an obstacle course to get to the bed. I stayed in a Sonesta Hotel, when I was in San Francisco, and I fell, and really hurt myself. When I told the staff, they totally ignored me. Then I found a Best Western Hotel in another California city, and I was thrilled. It was the most perfect stay ever!!!!
Good and bad The front desk personnel was terrific…happy and helpful! The room was a nice size and layout with a king size bed and couch/sitting area. Unfortunately it was not very clean. The bathroom floor had not been swept well (much less mopped)-for that matter I don't think the bathroom was cleaned at all. There were whiskers in the soap dish, hair in the shower and the toilet was not clean. This is a nice property and the check-in process was a breeze, but the housekeepers either need to be retrained or replaced. We travel with Clorox wipes (because of Covid) and I wiped everything down…otherwise, we wouldn't have stayed.
Perfect for a one night stay. Hotel was clean, our room was comfortable, and the hotel staff was super friendly. I'm glad they were serving a full hot breakfast....really tired of hotels doing sack breakfast cause of covid. I will definitely stay here again!
Nice clean hotel, for a quick nights stay. Front desk personnel was so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a king suite which was perfect with the bedroom in a separate room and the bathroom with two entries. Gave the kids the living room to themselves, it was a great setup for us.
We booked a 3 night stay in Boerne. It was clean, quiet and the breakfast was great. Our kids live in Boerne, so we will be staying often. It's worth becoming a Best Western Rewards member. This was by far better than other places we've stayed in Boerne.
You will be surprised at what you will find. There was evidence of stains which the blacklight found that were invisible to the naked eye on the walls, furniture and carpet. The now visible stains were disgusting. The manager did not care about what I found.
I was so appreciative as all my calls prior to check in happened to be with the same gentleman, Tony, which made me realize they lacked staffing but he was doing everything he could! I was impressed with the efforts he made, to ensure I was happy before even checking in. When I got there, Tony was working front desk, and once again he was just so pleasantly kind, not only to me, but to everyone in the check in lobby. As I called from my room, I didn't get ahold of anyone my first two times, to go down to the lobby and no one was there, being in hospitality I knew it was shift change, so I tried to be patient but neeed to head out to a wedding asap. While I was staying, I needed to have Wifi access but for some reason it wasn't conne ting which made me have to run off of my hotspot for the night. In the morning at checkout, no one was there, no one was available and it seemed as if it was purely due to staffing again. If you feel you will need staffs assistance with anything, Id just remember to be patient Also, I had a 2 queen room, which usually is what I get, but this room was very squished together compared to the average rooms I use. Which didn't bother me as much as was unusual and was something worth noting for families traveling.
Good customer service, room cleanliness could use improvement. Bathroom look like it was half way wiped down, and with a dirty rag. Floors were dirty and sticky. With covid this should not have happened cleanliness should be very well token care of before guest arrival.
Property was beautiful, room was clean, everything was open - pool, exercise room, and full breakfast bar every morning. The staff was excellent - very helpful, accommodating, and KIND. Great stay!!!!
Cassidy at the front desk rescued our holiday weekend when our nearby VRBO was unacceptable. She was able to book one of the last rooms for us, and treated us and all the guests with such professionalism and care that we had a great weekend after all. The remodeled hotel fit our needs perfectly, and the full hot breakfast buffet was a plus. There's even plenty of room to walk the dogs in the nearby grassy fields. The hotel is close to all the downtown attractions at a fraction of the price of other accommodations.
Very attentive and friendly staff, clean property. I had questions regarding my charges when I checked in and they handled it professionally and without argument. We appreciate the full hot breakfast and no mask requirements when walking to our room.
I was charged twice for literally a four hour stay. The manager argued with me when I questioned my bill. Argued with me when I asked for one of the charges to be credited back. Finally at the end of our conversation he said he would, but I still have not seen the credit with my bank.
Booked a stay online, a handicap room, room 314. It was the only availability for a double bed as we checked in late around 1 am. Was told at check in that it was no problem to occupied a handicap room. Walked into the room with our two small children and used the restroom. As we were taking turns using the restroom I looked down and all of our legs had fleas stuck to our feet and legs. I have never been so disgusted and disappointed at the same time. We immediately checked out of the room and advised the front desk. She apologized and refunded the room and offered another room but that was not an option for us after this experience. She advised I contact management in the morning for a complaint. Being exhausted and it being very late we camped in our travel trailer with the windows opened and roughed the heat and highway noise for the night. This stay was suppose to be our break from hooking up at campgrounds and a break after a long full days travel. The fact that we had to strip our clothes and shoes before we entered our trailer so we didn't possibly get fleas is outrageous. In the morning I spoke with the manager Tony, he advised he already called an exterminator and asked if I was a rewards member and offered me enough points to equal a free nights stay at any best western. He also mentioned that I was offered another room and that other rooms do not have fleas. The infestation was so bad in the room carpet that it has to be everywhere in the hotel since it is entirely carpeted except for the lobby. The room is also located directly across from an elevator on the third floor. While I was talking with the receptionist I felt and seen some more fleas on me even after I shook them all off in the room prior to walking down. Another inconvenience that occurred was the parking, parking lot was full and a sign was posted in the lobby no parking in field. We had no choice but to park in the field. This location needs to resolve the flea issue and check the rooms better and figure out a parking solution.
It was ok. No coffee in the morning for our entire stay. Kind of noisy late at night. The room was ok. The swimming pool wasn't that clean or appealing. I'll consider staying there again in the future if the need arises. Hope to have a better experience there in Texas.
My mother and I stayed in May 8th in Room 204 for one night. We noticed the bed bugs in the morning. Both my mom and I have over 20 bites on different parts of our bodies. We got a $20 discount for the inconvenience which does not compensate for the amount of discomfort we are suffering. I am waiting for a call from the general manager.
The Best Western in Boerne was filthy. I spilled water on the carpet and cleaned it up with a towel and the towel was dark brown with the filth from the carpet. We couldn't control the temperature in the room, it automatically went to 76 degrees. Our lamp didn't work and the front desk employee did come to replace bulbs, but one of the bulbs was broken. The lamp in the front lobby was just hanging with the shade setting sideways. The night receptionist was very nice, but the morning receptionist was just uninterested in even speaking. The grounds were overgrown and the pots in the front of the entrance were filled with cigarette butts. There was trash all over the grounds. We will never go back.
None of the staff wore masks I understand that Texas has re-opened but as a business it is crucial that they keep their clients safe and by not wearing masks that is not ushering that they are doing their best to make sure everything is sanitized at the end of every visit
Shortly after checking in at the Best Western Boerne Inn & Suites, I asked to get a different room due to a noisy air conditioner, and the best response by the receptionist at the Best Western Boerne Inn & Suites was to “Get the <
Like most places, this one was very clean and well maintained. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The complimentary breakfast was very good and offerd plenty of options. The location provided easy on and off access to the Interstate. I highly recommend this location. I hope you find this review helpful in making your next travel plans.
I stayed a night and well they're was people next door yelling, tv up loud, slamming doors in 12:27 AM and the lady up front was sleeping alone and when we woke her up she was typing something and left and was stubbing like she was drunk and she said are you checking in and we said no we were giving her a complaint we told her but she didn't do nothing about the guys next door. What a lousy lady this is horrible me and my family and baby can't sleep. I'm scared because they sound bad and slamming the hotel door and we found a water roach in our restroom
I used to clean for a living and appreciate cleanliness in general. Housekeeping was perfect. They cleaned well while managing to leave my personal items in the order I placed them. The atmosphere of the hotel was great too. It was quiet and breakfast was set up well for "to go" due to COVID.
Booked 2 rooms for my family. On arrival we found blood in the elevator. Once we got into our rooms is where we had huge problems. The rooms smelled musty, and the bed linens were dirty and stained. We pulled back the sheets to reveal long black hairs all over the bed sheets in both beds in both rooms. When we looked in the bathroom we found live roaches in the tub! We had our rooms changed. We were in our new room for about an hour then we saw roaches crawling on the wall and under the mini-fridge. That was it for us and we left without spending the night. I'm currently fighting with the less than helpful GM while he “considers” giving me a refund. He was rude and argued that we were wrong and even suggested we slept there because the beds were unmade when he got there in the morning. Avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere
It is a cheap building. I wouldn't stay there unless driving thru and don't want to mess with finding another. The light in the bath has the fan that goes on LOUD. No separate switches. Other annoying things for not a good nights rest.
If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a reservation at the Best Western in Boerne and arrived around 9pm at night to be given a room that hadn't been cleaned. We went back to the front desk to be told they didnt have another room and they were incapable of cleaning the room. She recommended we try other hotels in town. There were NO other rooms in town. She didnt try to call other hotels or give suggestions on other Best Western Hotels. We finally called the Best Western Hill Country Suites and they said they had a room available. The front desk lady at the Boerne Hotel called the other hotel and agreed to give us 2 rooms for the price of our initial room in Boerne which was $115 because of the inconvenience of the whole situation. When we arrived at the second best western, a 30 minute drive away, we found out that the 2 hotels were not AFFILIATED because they're different franchises and he couldn't match the price of 2 rooms for $115. At this point it's 10:30pm. He made ZERO effort to call management or corporate to resolve the issue. We called several Best Western corporate customer service phone numbers and nobody was able to do ANYTHING to help. Never will be returning to any best western. This company is incapable of resolving their own problems.
Room was dirty. Staff was disinterested. In the COVID environment, there should not be mold int he tub, staff without masks, unkept floors, service equipment left unattended for over 12 hours, night auditor outside smoking when I tried to check out, entered building and approached me without distancing or having a mask on.
First off the original room we where assigned smelled so badly of mildew we had to request another room. Second the 4 nights we stayed we never received room service to clean our room even though we requested it 3 times in one day and ever other day. There was ripped furniture in our suite. A shower curtain rod that was coming out of the wall. Torn and stained curtains in the room that were too long for the windows and cover the AC units. Every time we left our room we had to get a new hotel room key because the lock would not recognize it and we were told it was our fault. I recommend avoiding this hotel at all cost as it is a rip off. It just seems like the management staff doesn't care even to the point they would not stand up to greet people as they came in.
Stayed one night and never again! Not "pet friendly" more like "pet nightmare" Pet designated room #108 was EXTREMELY DIRTY AND DISGUSTING! The carpet was filthy with stains, bits of food, and who knows what else! There was an underlying stench to the room too. Pet fee $20/pet, why? The room was unacceptable and since it was late, I could not look for another hotel. The AC unit made it even worse. Waking up to damp shoes and clothes made me regret even more staying here. Pet owners take your precious pets elsewhere!
Convenient location by the freeway with eateries nearby. Lobby, kitchen and rooms were very clean. Had an issue with my A/C on day 2 and was immediately offered a fan. The A/C eventually kicked on. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. YES I would definitely stay here again.
Traveling for a quick weekend getaway we landed at this establishment. Its important to be aware that if you miss the exit from I-10, you're going to be driving in circles due to the physical location of the building. Arriving late at night, we were greeted in a friendly manner by the desk attendant. We were provided with a room on the 2nd floor. Upon entering the room, it was pleasing to the eye. Please excuse the baby in the picture he passed out after some shots of Enfamil. The room had only one block by the bed incase you had more than one phone or electric item that needs to be charged.. The beds were kind of small for queen size beds yet comfortable. The sleeve on top of the box spring was severely stained making us pause and think...do they truly clean these rooms. Not a comfortable thought in a COVID world. The room temperature was controlled by a wall unit and it was set for 60 degrees. Not knowing we fell asleep and froze that night. The bathroom was presentable yet the shampoo & conditioner portions were small for 2 adults. The door wouldnt stay in place, you needed to control it with the shower curtain. The room television wouldn't turn on yet i guess it was good so we could all fall asleep. The overall aesthetics were nice to include eating and computer area. I'd say a neutral evaluation on this establishment.
We have stayed at this hotel twice ...Comfy beds, warm showers, good breakfast selection. Easy to find and easy highway access. The only reason the hotel doesn't get a full 5 stars is upon entering the room after Check-In the a/c was off (which was fine, I understand being energy conscious), but when we turned the a/c on the air smelled moldy and the screen that the air blew through was pretty dirty. The smell went away and the room cooled down by the evening. It wasn't a huge deal, just a bit unpleasant at 1st. We will still return.
Property was well up to Best Western standards and didn't dissapoint in service, comfort, cleanliness or amenities. They did, however have some construction going on and, I think they are becoming part of a different chain. Location is poor. Not unsafe, ugly, or anything like that. But, NOTHING near by - no eateries, pubs, stores - and challenging to get to. Overall experience here was . . . . I'm . . . . Meh. Just OK.
This a typical Best Western property...friendly, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The only minor drawback is figuring out how to get there from the Interstate, but once you have mastered finding the way in, subsequent entry and exit is really easy. Over all, this was an excellent experience, and we will definately stay here again.
I have always been a loyal Best Western customer. I just have trouble redeeming my rewards points. I do really well at collecting them. I have a lot of points. I have redeemed them before. More often than not, I fail for one reason or another.
Check in process was very fast and easy after making reservations on line while we were driving. We were given a large room like a mini suite, and the king bed was soooooo comfortable we slept soundly. Everything was clean and neat. The fitness room was adequate, nothing great, but good enough. They have a very nice indoor pool and hot tub too. Breakfast added to the value. Nicer in every way than the Hampton Inn we stayed in a few nights ago, better value for the price, which was a surprise!
I was most impressed, clean, comfortable, I was able to do laundry, 2 washers & 2 dryers, and very reasonable !! limited parking for a BIG TRUCK though, nothing close by (walking distance ) to eat. I would stay there again .
Just a quick stop for the night. Overall just an ok stay. Motel is starting to need maintenance. Had to look for desk person at check in not sure ware she was I stood there about 10 minutes. The room had some blemishes on the walls that needed paint and a bad place on the ceiling that someone had repaired badly. The curtains kept catching the ac preventing it from working properly
was a great place to say and would stay there again. Boerne is a beautiful place to stay. Would visit there again for sure.Tapito Springs is absolutely beautiful. Town is full of great places to eat and explore.
This past Friday we stayed at this hotel. Surprisingly, it was one of the nicer rather nicest Best Westerns that I have stayed at. The property was clean and well kept. We had a king suite on the second floor. The room was spacious. It took the ac unit along time to cool down the room. The massage shower head and extremely hot water felt great. The bed was comfy too. The only reason I did not give them a 4 star rating was because breakfast was meh and the service was horrible. The lady working the breakfast area was horrible and unprofessional. The hotel was sold out on Friday night, so why she would not properly stock the breakfast area was beyond me. I had told her there were no more eggs and she said she was working on it. When they were done she only brought out a sliver of eggs and the room was full of people that were waiting on them. They ran out of sausage, actually they were running out at the same time as the eggs. She left the pan empty for at least 15 minutes. A patron told her they were out of sausage and she said yeah I'll get to it when I get to it. We waited about 30 minutes for more sausage. Oh and the biscuits and gravy were straight garbage and that is exactly where they were tossed. How she managed to screw that up, I don't know. They was so thick you could barely stir it or get it off the spoon. She just acted so overwhelmed and under prepared like she was running late for work and/or hated her job. Maybe she should've asked for help, I don't know. But she definitely should have been more friendly to the guest. I did like the blueberry waffles. Minus the breakfast fiasco this is a nice hotel to stay at. Like I said they were sold out and it was still very quiet.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There was as good as if it had been a Plus. The egg for breakfast was tasty and with other items. There were enough towels for each of us. There is an elevator so you not have to climb stairs.
Staff did not seem to care if I being the guest were happy with the basic guest experience. The staff never got out of their chair when I was at the desk literally did not care.Same with the breakfast attendants three people in the kitchen it would not help me with getting ice
Great hotel, close to our destination. Good breakfast, clean rooms and kind helpful staff! Wish they had the evening reception with wine, crackers and cheese. Missed that. Liked the daily flavored water and our kids loved the cookies!
I put my family there and they loved the room. I had them in a suite and there was plenty of room for them and they said it was clean and very comfortable. They did say, the breakfast lacked somewhat. One morning, there was hardly and food left and they were up early.
Passing through, found online with a good rate & room was very clean. One thing though, i wish room could get a little cooler.AC just wouldn't cool enough. Location right off interstate.Hot breakfast was good too.
Last minute stay on our trip. Room and hotel were clean. Staff was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good, but no sausage gravy for the biscuits. Check out was easy. Bathroom had soap dispensers in the shower, but the shampoo one was empty. A very pleasant stay.
It was a great, clean, quiet place with quick access to all main street has to offer. The breakfast was good and hot and of course they offered 2 flavors of batter for the famous Texas shaped waffle. We will stay again.
After traveling 12 hours we still had 5 hours to drive home and were exhausted so we decided to find a hotel. The reviews for this hotel were good so I booked it. Many times reviews are not true and pictures are not what you get when you get to the property. However, that was not the case here. Check in was quick, room was clean, bed was comfortable, the best put of all the hotels we had stayed in recently so we got plenty of good rest before we made our way home the next day.
We arrived and the hotel was nice and clean, front desk staff was great upon check in. We requested extra towels and pillows which we did not receive. We stayed in a suite with king size bedroom and pull out couch in the living area. I went to the front desk to request bedding for the pull out couch. After returning to the room I realized they gave me only one pillow. My husband went down and requested another one. The woman at the front desk was rude and said didn't I just give you one? My husband explained that our two daughters can not share a pillow. She huffed about it and came back with a pillow and said you can only have one more. We got the bed made up and the children went to bed, when we realized the toilet was not working properly. The toilet would not flush waste, only water then the water would come back up. We explained to the gentleman at the front desk the situation he handed me a plunger and told me he wasn't a plumber. When we went out the next morning I stopped at the front desk to inform them the plunger was not fixing the situation. The woman at the desk was really nice and said she would send someone to take a a look at it. We went to the river walk which isn't too far from the hotel, and returned later that night. The plunger was gone so we assumed the situation with the toilet had been resolved. Not only was the issue not fixed, now the toilet was leaking water also. I threw a towel down to avoid slipping and on our way out the next morning I informed the worker at the front desk about the toilet now leaking. We returned a few hours later and the plunger was back the toilet was working fine problem resolved. Now my only issue was house keeping had not stopped in to clean, empty trash or refresh the towels. Thankfully we brought our own towels for the pool or we wouldn't have had any. The do not disturb sign was not out at all so that wasn't not the reason for them not to clean. The pool is nice but cold, it was great to hang out at night after a long day out. Breakfast was good I was a little disappointed to they didn't have a lactose free option like other Best Western locations. The orange juice was amazing, and I am a picky person when it comes to orange juice. The fitness room looked great but I didn't have a chance to use it, they have a laundry room also which is good if you need to use it. Over all it was a nice place, 2 employees came across as rude or irritated but the rest were great. The hotel is in a great location for our needs, we were able to visit friends in Boerne and take several trips to San Antonio easy on and off for I-10
The room was very clean when we go there and it was very quiet in our room. The breakfast was excellent and had a good variety to choose from. Front Desk personnel where very hospitable and gave us good information when we asked questions. Overall I would recommend this Best Western to anyone who is traveling in this area and needs a place to stay,
3rd floor rooms were clean, well stocked, quiet & comfy. Abundant materials in Lobby about places 2 go with great maps provided. At the desk DIANA & YASMINE were great.. cordial & full of suggestions . YASMINE often visited the floors to check the service personnel & breakfast room.
We chose this hotel over another on for price. The hotel recommended for the Wedding family members was twice as much and has same amenities. We got an efficient and early check in allowed so we could get ready for a wedding in an hour after a 6 hour drive. Breakfast was prompt and good the next morning, except the later it got, the more overwhelmed the staff member was. She was unable to keep everything stocked due to number of guests in the last hour. Beds, linens and towels all comfy.
My family recently spent three nights here. It is clean. The first night we arrived the lights in our room wouldn't turn on. Within minutes we were attended to and the problem was fixed. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We will definitely stay again. It is located right off the interstate so it is easy to get to.
Stopped in and booked our room on the fly. Researched prices through Expedia and hotel tonight but got a better room at same rate others offered. Diana was especially friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable with a good breakfast.
We had a comfortable night. All accessories were in good working order. The breakfast was served on time and had a good hot meal. They have plenty to choose from and we expect to stay at Best Western again. Management is doing good job.
Very disappointed with service when tv equipment didn't work after checking in. Pricey rooms need working equipment. The night desk attendant did not follow through on promises to contact manager. The day attendant was better. But by then we were soured on our expensive experience.
This hotel is clean with no odd odors. The windows in the rooms need some repairs. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There were no bad odors.
Our room was clean (except for the carpet which like the hallway carpets were in need of a good cleaning). The bedding was fresh and the bathroom very clean. The a/c was a window unit and the curtains were too long and covered the vents which made the whole concept self-defeating - the air was blowing up into the window. The unit was also loud and kept us up all night. This was disappointing as we had a long trip ahead of us upon our departure. the property is located just Northwest of San Antonio, it was a good location to launch from as we headed to West Texas. We had arrived around 7pm and were pleased to see that the hotel had a very nice exterior appearance. Unfortunately, this made the less than pristine inside condition more apparent. The hallway tile needed a good mopping and the carpets needed cleaning. There was also a putrid smell in the hallway to our room on the second floor. Our checkout experience was frustrating as we tried to use gift cards that unbeknownst to us had been deactivated because they were purchased before BW changed their software. The clerk couldn't figure out why they wouldn't process the, so I wound up calling the toll free number on the the back of card. I was told that the cards were still good but could not be used until I sent them photos of the front and back along with the case number they assigned. It would be at least 3 business days before they would be reactivated. Breakfast was included, and was typical Best Western fare. As the title indicates - the place is acceptable but wouldn't be my first choice.
In town to be with mother in nursing home grieving loss of my father and her husband of 63 years. My room was clean, spacious and quiet. Front office staff was attentive and polite. I have had lesser rooms with bad experiences at far greater expensive hotels. Hands down, BW of Boerne does a phenomenal job. Location was ideal, two miles from my mother's nursing home and one mile from Main St. Thank you for bringing me comfort during a difficult time.
We stayed there Christmas week, so that kind of explains it. The staff, room, & motel are very nice. Clean room. BUT,,, someone walked mud into the hallway, all the way into the elevator..??? The staff in charge of ordering provisions missed the whole "days off" for deliveries that week, sooo, they ran out of a lot of the breakfast supplies during the week.
We recently stayed here for one night for a family event. Customer service was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, but the walls here are EXTREMELY thin. There was a family staying in the room next to ours that had small children who were jumping up and down and (I swear!) beating on the walls. This went on until after 11:00 pm. Not great if you're looking for a good night's sleep . . .
Checked in and spoke with the front desk clerk Chandler. She was very kind and handled all of our needs. Our room was clean and very quiet. After a long drive coming from Alabama, we were exhausted so it was nice to see a smiling face with quick service. Thank you for a great stay!!
Stayed only one night at this Best Western. Check in was quick and easy with very helpful staff. This hotel is right off IH 10 and was worried about the traffic noise as the previous night we stayed at a hotel in this same area and the noise was TERRIBLE. The room was pleasant and the breakfast suited our needs perfectly.
There are other lodging options in Boerne that might be better than this hotel. While the ladies at the front were friendly, the hotel was not clean and it just generally seemed mismanaged and understaffed. I would not stay here again.
They need better maids to clean the rooms.First room was Dirty old candy wrappers, dirty sheets smelled like poop yellow stains, old condom on the floor in room,Mold in the shower. The second room was kinda clean room it had Asian biting beetles in it the window was open when we came in. The wallpaper in around the window was full of bugs.Mold in the shower hair in the bathtub. The refrigerator had brown liquid in it.The bed was hard as a rock. Asian lady beetles are typically somewhat more aggressive than native varieties and may bite if they land on the skin. Though the bite is not very painful, some people can have allergic reactions, ranging from eye problems like conjunctivitis ("pink eye") to hay fever, cough, asthma, or hives.
Our friends had arranged Texas sightseeing for us. They had some unusual tastes. It did involve a night here. We had to ask to move from the room we were allocated as it was just too noisy. Even with the windows closed you could here the traffic on the interstate. We were eventually moved to an executive room which was on the opposite side of the hotel and this was excellent. Room was large, bed was very comfortable and it was much quieter. The breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about but served it's purpose. The facilities were good, having a gym and an outdoor pool though as it was December we weren't tempted by the pool. It was good value for money.
Rose was awesome on check in she was very friendly and helpful. After we got to the room we found the TV was not working at all. I went down to ask her if she could fix it for us and she came up to the room looked at it and said she would rather upgrade us to a room down the hall. Thanks for the great service Rose!
Rose was one of the nicest young ladies we have meant in a long time. We highly recommend her in your future plans she would be a great asset to you. We generally do not do surveys but because of Rose we feel we wanted too. The room was nice and clean but it was to pricey. Thank you
My family and I had a very satisfying stay at this Inn. We were there for about 3m give or take for business purposes and honestly if we get to go back out there we will definitely be staying here again. The staff was excellent all very welcoming and friendly. Tony the general manager was always very kind, second manager she was also very nice. Erin worked the graveyard shift, very pleasant individual he regularly made sure we were ok. Breakfast was great and the gym area has all the basics needed really enjoyed. We only experienced one little issue with the heater/ac unit and although it wasn't their fault (electrical) we were gladly moved to another room right away. Overall very pleased, and thankful.
This was the Host Hotel for a spyder rally. The price is high for the ssize and amenities of the hotel. Old style air conditioning. Old worn carpet.Mold around the tub. Upside is they allow pets with an additional 15 dollars a night. They accomadated us for a 1st flfloor room
The room was quite comfortable. It could have used 1 more chair. Since the weather was rather nasty it would have been nice if the floor could have been vacuumed to get up the little mud clods that we left when we would return to the room every evening.
A lot of our family members stayed at the Inn as it was close to the venue for a family wedding. The room was comfortable, the service was great, and the included breakfast was very good. There were a couple of very good areas for our entire family to hang out and visit. We really enjoyed talking to Rose in the dining room. She was the most friendly of all the employees we met. Thank you Rose for making our stay so comfortable.
Staff, especially Erika, is the Best! Good breakfast. Really the quietest rooms I've ever been in. Stayed in 3 different rooms during my visit do to check-in check-out for traveling. Every bathroom the same.... No water pressure in shower. Come on... Fix that!!
Great hotel. Poor maid services. Need a little touch up in rooms. Odd lighting. Good breakfast. Large lounge. Staff nice but unusually quiet for hotel. No smiling greeting or offers of advice etc. We asked questions not knowing area. Bland short answers. Could of been a better visit with just a few changes in touching up paint and poor lighting.
My husband and I were visiting friends in the San Antonio area and were looking for an alternative to the heavily trafficked areas inside the loops of the city. We found it in the Best Western Boerne Inn & Suites. It's a quiet, clean hotel that's new and appealing. It's very convenient to I-10, located on the westbound frontage road, but has surface street access toward the east. It's convenient to San Antonio (about 30 minutes away) and the rooms are a lower rate. Ours was a nice size and came with a fridge and microwave. There's a great outdoor pool, very clean, good temperature, and big enough to swim laps in. There's also a nice fitness room with aerobic exercise equipment and a weight machine. They offer a complimentary standard hot breakfast with good choices and the breakfast room is spacious and sunny. They have a full laundry room (and it's only $1.00 per load for each washer and dryer), which we took advantage of during our stay. Our room was on the side fronting I-10 (despite a prior request for the quiet side) and it was noisy at night. Thankfully, the A/C fan helped cover the noise, and we had the option to select “Constant Fan” when we wanted to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and we had good choices for firmness in the pillows. Boerne itself is a nice town, and a welcome place to decompress after the busy-ness of the big city. The hotel is just a short drive from Main Street, where there are charming shops and many restaurant options. It's also one mile/one freeway exit from the local HEB, which is a great supermarket chain where you can find just about anything you need. Kudos to Anna at the front desk who helped us not only with check-in but with dinner recommendations and local directions. She was always friendly and pleasant and seemed genuinely glad to see us whenever we returned to the hotel. Overall, it was a great stay, and had our room been away from the highway noise, it would have been excellent. The hotel backs up to a residential area, so the rest of the surroundings are very quiet and, indeed, tranquil. We would definitely return here on our next visit to the Alamo City.
Very clean place from the lobby to the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a nice swimming area. They are not far from the town, the caverns we were going to see were right up the road. Wold stay here again for sure.
The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly!! Very clean hotel which is a MUST for us!! Breakfast was good and the staff there were so nice, sweet!! Our highest praise for this location! Thank you to all of the staff!!
This Hotel was excellent .From the staff friendliness and fast check in to the rooms which are very very comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were big and had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The buffet breakfast was great sausage ,eggs and waffles also you hurt and cereal. The beds were so comfortable I slept like a baby in mamas arms haha. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this one.
Thankfully we only needed 1 night here as we were passing through. The room was very small, the bathroom door couldn't close at all (literally the door did not fit the space it should close into!) and the staff could not be less interested in guests. Upon check-in the person at the desk audibly sighed as we arrived, seemingly displeased to have to check someone in.
Everything was great! My pets were welcome. Beautiful decor. Clean comfort! Our experience made our move to Texas very positive! We plan to return to the Boerne location again, whenever we pass through San Antonio!
Desk service was excellent, also breakfast and laundry facility. I have stayed at this hotel previously and liked it very much, as I have other Best Western Plus locations. Some change needs to be made at some Best Western Plus Motels regarding appearance of bed sheets, as one other location I had the same impression that the sheets had not been changed, That time the desk clerk changed them herself, as maid staff was gone for the day.
Very comfort bed Very clean room Plenty of electrical outlets Great breakfast friendly staff quiet away from highway noise and restful would recommend without hesitation. Called up for directions they were given precisely and I was then able to find it easily
Great, super friendly staff here. Easy location off the highway. They had free coffee, water in lobby. The place was super modern, clean and refreshing. Definitely recommend this place. Great breakfast also
This hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate. Staff was warm and inviting, always greeting you with a smile and asking if they could assist you in any way. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Complimentary breakfast was fresh and a nice perk to an already pleasant stay! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area!
We rented a large number of rooms for a wedding. Service from the manager was great. The hospitality room offered a great place for people to gather. Breakfast offerings were outstanding. Overall our visit was great. Rooms were well maintained, maid service well done and all of the wedding party were very satisfied. The pool isn't heated, so we could not enjoy that, but it is clean and well maintained, I'm sure it is great in the summer. Road noise is inevitable so close to the Interstate, but not too bad, do recommend you request a room away from the road. Overall, very well done and highly recommended!
Close to the highway and easy highway access, surprisingly really quiet. Really liked the fact that they had security cameras in their parking lot ...The beds were really comfortable, warm shower. Nice hot breakfast, friendly staff. Will definitely consider staying again next time we are in the area.
We were very happy with our stay. We were upgraded to a very nice room. They had some great cookies when we checked in!!! Our room was clean and very comfortable. WiFi was great. Breakfast was very good. They even had bananas which we like! We would stay here again!
Great stay at the Best Western Boerne & Suites!! Caring staff and recently relocated, will definitely return!! Easy access on and off of I-10 and an easy drive to San Antonio, Fredericksburg and Kerrville!!
Overall review is excellent. Suites were large, clean, and contained all the necessary amenities Housekeeping was attentive and responsive to our requests. Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful, professional, and responsive to all our needs.
Great place to stay. Very comfortable, clean, good breakfast. Very personable staff. Convient location. Making a long trip so being right on I - 10 outside of San Antonio was perfect. Would stay here again.
The staff is very personable. One gentleman in particular (don't recall his name) was very compassionate and helpful when my son was sick and vomited in the breakfast area (no reflection on the food!!) Also, the following day, my son spilled the milk pitcher all over the breakfast counter and the same gentleman jumped right in to clean it up and was so kind about it all. He even tried to make my son feel better by telling him about an incident when he spilled something on the counter, too.
I enjoyed my stay here and had no problems whatsoever. I ate dinner from the restaurant and had a few cocktails at the bar. The room was clean, comfortable and priced right. Big useful truck parking is always a huge plus to me and the parking here was top shelf.
Easy on/off interstate, Best in the area. The only negative was the morning breakfast food was not hot. Room was exceptionally clean and pool looked inviting had it been a warmer day! Staff was smiling and most efficient. We will be returning.
Very easy access to I-10. The building design did not seem to take in to account of the freeway noise. The room had an AC fan which could run continually but it still failed to cover the freeway sounds. There was a ground level door which could not be closed/locked which created a security issue. Employee said that it had been reported but nothing seemed to be done about it.
Customer service was terrible. Concierge didn't even greet us upon arrival. He took forever to handle our request, gave us the wrong room and wasn't apologetic about it. Our microwave didn't work which was essential for us for it to have worked as we have a child and we needed to warm up her milk. Breakfast the only thing that was great.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and dining area was very clean. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Conveniently located to where our activities were taking place and easy to get to.
We saw the hotel sign on the highway and decided we would check it out. The Best Western was right beside the highway but could not hear any of the traffic from our room. We were given a map of the town but unfortunately we were too tired to venture out once settled in. The have a really good hot breakfast.
The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Rooms were very clean and services were fast. The location was near a lot of restaurants & antiques shop. It was not hard to find the way back once we were sight seeing and watching a night rodeo.
A great place to stay. Right along side of I10 and close to shopping. Highly recommend this hotel. Friendly and courteous personnel. Rooms are clean and housekeeping does a great job cleaning. Great breakfast in a comfortable setting.
Wedding party review. The hotel was clean but smelled like mold. Rooms also smelled like mold and the AC was as strong as an asthmatic blowing thru a straw. In short not the place I would like to be at again. The breakfast was also small and unsatisfactory.
I had a great stay when I visited family in the area. The price was perfect for the night stayed and the overall experience the Best Western was amazing. I would suggest that they put out signs leaving directly to the hotel so that's easier to find the correct road to travel. Other than that, I enjoyed staying at this Best Western.
Very nice hotel! Great hotel staff! Breakfast was great! I love the biscuits and gravy and bacon and eggs...and waffles. Lol! The decor is fantastic and the room was very nice! My kids really enjoyed the pool. I would DEFINITELY recommend and stay here again!
My family and I stayed here for a total of 8 days, and had a fantastic time. Staff was always friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was clean and orderly. Pet friendly Hotel! Breakfast was good and convenient, always well laid out and thoroughly cooked where needed. The pool is great, fitness room has actual weights and a weight machine instead of just an elliptical and a treadmill like you will find at many hotels "fitness rooms". Only a few minor dings, the circuit breaker would pop in the breakfast area nearly every morning when it was busy and people would use several appliances at once. The weight machine in the fitness center needs some attention, seems to be missing some pins. We had a minor misunderstanding with billing which was rectified very easily. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will choose it again should I need one in the area.
AC, WIFI, TV and other amenities did not work or were terrible. Complained to staff and basically was told that the manager was not there. when got to room was late in evening and they would have not taken care of anything. Terrible
Staff were very friendly, room was nice and shower was good. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again. There isn't much right by the hotel but a drive mins away will you get you places.
Bugs crawling all over the floor in the bathroom. If you stay here in June I would advise you to bring bug killer or spend your time trying to keep from stepping on bugs in your bare feet. I have an exterminator come and spray for bugs at my house.
The rooms have quality furniture and fixtures. The breakfast is decent as well. Bacon was thin, but tasty. The waffles were better than those available in many motels. The only problem was bugs in the pool.
I will start by saying this hotel was okay for us to crash at night,it needs to be upgraded. The room smelled musty and the curtains need to be replaced or cleaned.Breakfast was fair.It was quiet at night so we got some sleep.I would recommend for a place to stay but it is not 4 star
Landscaping was overgrown, beer cans by the pool for three days, overflowing outdoor trash can, gross urine smell in our room, and air conditioner did not cool properly. Disappointed because the hotel was rated so highly on TripAdvisor.
I stayed here in for three nights in March and the room (double queen) was very clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. They do a good job on the complimentary breakfast with a nice variety of foods. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is right off of the freeway so access in and out is convenient.
We ( family of 4) stayed one night for a wedding at The Springs in Boerne, Texas. This is the closest hotel to this venue. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was adequate and the breakfast was good. There is a back road that is great to take to get to downtown if you want to avoid getting on the highway. The hotel allows dogs but I never saw any sign of dog hair or loud barking in the hotel. My child and husband are allergic to dogs and they never had any problems. My mother rented a handicap accessible room and it was very large with adequate room to move a wheel chair around. Bathroom was very easy for her to use also. I would recommend to stay here while visiting Boerne. Check out the Hungry Horse Cafe if you like great burgers. They have a huge menu to please everyone. Enjoy your stay!
Wow!!!! I was so amazed when I checked in at Best Western Boerne, this hotel is so beautiful they let me know that this hotel has been remodeled from a La Quinta. The room that I reserved was a suite it was so clean and spacious. When we stayed on Sunday at check in the front desk was so professional, very quick check in. I did notice that when I checked there were some guest that were very obnoxious and rude to the front desk, but she handled it very well, I have never seen a person act so rude to an employee. Other than this I loved my stay the pool was so refreshing. I will stay here again when we come back from California.
This is an easy on-off highway hotel when traveling I-10 north of San Antonio. Clean, comfortable up-to-date facility with all the basics (wifi, free parking, breakfast included) for a single value price. Found no reason to be unhappy.
My family and I went for vacation- this hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly and know the places to send you to. Enjoyed this! There are plenty of places to go within walking distance which makes the stay even more relaxing.
The room was very nice and had plenty of space. It's not located close to any restaurants bot there are plenty one exit away. We went with a large group of people and they let us use the hospitality room to get together. All in all a great stay
Check in/out simple was a simple process. The room was clean and a/c worked well. The only complaint is that the shower was not so great. The water pressure was low. Other than that, I'd stay here again.
Stayed here to attend a wedding. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Got to use hospitality room because we had more then 10 rooms blocked for the wedding. Close to restaurants and shopping in Boerne.
The hotel is new. Everything was in good working order. Hotel is just off the freeway (Highway 10), yet is only 3 minutes from the downtown area. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable. The breakfast items available more than met our needs. We have recommended this hotel to others, and would stay here again.
This hotel is so well managed, great staff, nice complimentary breakfast, lovely and very comfortable rooms, tasteful decor, great gym room...will definitely be back given half a chance. Super find! Zero complaints and I am, admittedly, a bit of a fuss pot. Why stay anywhere else? Better, IMHO, than more costly competition. Nice distance from town and not far from airport. Modestly priced. A real winner!
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is very professional and friendly. The breakfast was amazing, you can build your own yogurt and oatmeal. The room was great very clean and the bed was great. I will definitely stay here again.
Stayed for a wedding that was blocked at this location and they accommodate weddings very well. They have a hospitality room with couches that they allow us all to gather in. Very nice, respectful, helpful staff!!!
My stay at Best Western in Boerne was fantastic. The hotel is newly renovated and is super clean. The staff is very professional, and welcoming. I will definitely recommend Best Western and we are looking foward to our next stay!!!
Located near many Hill Country sites, cities, venues, and ranches. Recently renovated with rich, cheerful colors and very clean. Pleasant, courteous, and professional staff. Complimentary (20 item) breakfast in a large yet relaxing dining room, an inviting and attractive sitting area, and a cozy hospitality room. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Pet friendly and plenty of parking. Highly recommended for leisure, business, or wedding block!
especially helpful was Ashley,at the front desk. she ensured that i was able to connect with wifi , that we had closed captions on tv and had a quiet room on 3 rd floor. Bed was was very comfy . no problems whatsoever with our stay.. A newer hotel too.
We stayed at this hotel for one night because we wanted to visit the Tejas Rodeo in Bulverde, and it's just a 30 minues drive from here. This is also a good starting point to visit some of the major attractions of the hill country: Fredericksburg, Bandera, Kerrville, San Antonio, they are all within a 1-hour drive. The hotel is recently renovated, pur GPS did not find it so we had to rely on maps. There's a lot of paring space, the rooms are big and clean. The bathroom is also clean, with lots of towels and a nice courtesy kit. The hall is decorated with modern furniture and colorful armchairs. Breakfast room is just beside the reception, and offers the classic stuff such as waffles, yogurt, cereals, eggs and so on. we spent 100 USD with refundable rate
Clean Hotel, Friendly and Helpful Staff, Safe and nice location . Here for a wedding. We had everything we needed and BW made it easy to relax during down time. I would recommend for a wedding block in Boerne!
Very nice, recently remodeled motel close to various attractions. Breakfast is a typical motel assortment of items. Offered cookies and ice tea in the afternoons. Our room was very comfortable, nice beds and linens. Internet was adequate if somewhat slow on the third floor. If in th area we would stay again.
This Best Western was a very good Best Western it was fairly new and the property was very clean. The staff was very nice and I liked the fact that there was an hospitality room available for our usage.
Boerne is one of our favorite layovers when we pass through the hill country. This BW has apparently undergone a recent, major refresh and they have done a great job. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, the AC works and was running when we checked in at 2:30PM and there was a large number of channels available on the flat screen TV. The pet fee for our dog was only $15, and there was a large grassy field, adjacent to the motel, making it easy to give her an outing. The breakfast service is one of the better I have seen - in addition to the usual beverages, there was scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereals, and muffins. The counter and breakfast service staff was friendly. I guess I should say something critical for those of you waiting for it. The only thing that I can think of is that the cable box was mounted behind the TV, and I had to point the remote behind the TV to change channels - maybe I am a digitally impaired geezer who missed something. Anyway this is a great place to stay with reasonable week day rates. If you need a pleasant stretch of the legs, check out Boerne's River Road Park, only 2.5 miles from the BW.
Very clean, modern hotel. In the top 10% of all the Best Western hotels that I have used. Beds are very comfortable. I'd give the shower and 8 (not bad) out of 10. Staff is friendly and helpful. The nearest restaurant is a few miles from the hotel.
Our visit at the Boerne Best Western was top shelf. Room was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I'm not sure what their secret is, but the breakfast was beyond good!! Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly.
Nice clean rooms the breakfast was good , the girls at the front desk was more interested in her cell phone conversation then checking us in , I had to ask how to get to my room , what Internet pass word was,and as a ride rewards member we didn't get towels to wipe down our bikes or a bottle of water, I think people should leave their cell phones alone until break time
I am the producer for the Daytripper on PBS and we stayed here when we were filming our Boerne episode. They recently had a renovation and it looks great. The lobby, the rooms and amenities were wonderful. Rooms were clean and in great order.
It was a pleasant stay and the rooms are nice as well as the decor. The only problem we had were some guests that had their dogs running around in the hotel and hotel staff saw them and did nothing, that is the only reason we will not stay here again ...
Lovely hotel that has been renovated within this year. Rooms spacious and comfortable. We usually stay at LaQuinta's because they take pets and we travel with two small dogs. BW Boerne accepts pets for a small fee.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and staff very friendly. The breakfast was nice. The only thing that could have been improved was the pressure in the shower and it could be hotter. It was an attractive hotel and convenient to get to.
Good hot breakfast (way better than that nasty Holiday Inn Express crap). Comfortable bed and pillow. Quiet toilet. Quiet door. Very clean. Very nice staff. No faults I could find. Heading west on I-10, just pull off and turn in, then pull out and drive off.
Great place to stay for the money! I will use BW every chance I get. The staff is exceptional, the room was extremely comfortable and the amenities were second to none. I also liked the location which weas close to everything in the city. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
We stayed here on our way to San Antonio from Dallas. It was very easy to find off the interstate and it looked very new and modern. The night clerk was so nice and friendly and even offered to come help us with our luggage. We were on the second floor and I was happy to see that they had an elevator. The room was very comfortable with two queen beds. It was very quiet and we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast area is very spacious with plenty of tables, and the breakfast was very good with the usual continental breakfast type offerings. I was very pleased with this hotel and would stay there again.
All in all it was ok for the price, the Air Conditioning system seemed to struggle to keep up, the Air Conditioning was inconsistent with its cooling, and could not keep the thermostat at a constant temperature
The Boerne location is a great place to stay for a re-charge mini vacation. It is very convenient to all places of interest in the area. The hotel has a good feel. We will definitely consider another visit.
I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The complementary breakfast was tasty and healthy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent workout room and really fabulous decor throughout the hotel. Rooms were spacious with a very nice layout and conveniences to make for a comfortable stay. Good internet connectivity and speed. Strategic location close to highway and downtown. Nothing found lacking.
Everything was great and the location was perfect, the venue was the Springs and it was less than 10 miles from us right off of I10. The hotel let us check in early which was a great help since my husband was in the wedding! . The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful!
Excellent location for travelling on I-10. Superb service - check-in is smooth and the staff is extremely polite. Rooms and all facilities are extremely clean. The breakfast area is the best we've had for a long time. All in all, excellent price value ratio and would truly recommend for anybody - San Antonio downtown can be reached in 20 minutes or so.
The room was amazing. I loved the suite we were in. It was very clean and included a fridge and microwave. We had free wifi. The couches were so comfy that I am now looking for one for my house. I have never been to a nicer city with nicer people; and this hotel was the icing on the cake.
Very good for price and location. We were there on business with family members due to wife's mother being in a nursing home in Boerne. The location was close to Care Choice nursing home and very convenient to I-10. We felt safe and loved being near restaurants and with-in 2 miles of downtown Boerne. We will stay again as the need arises. We live in Ft. Worth,Texas and the trip takes us 5 hours.
Me and my husband had a last minute trip to Boerne to visit a friend. The hotel was very nice and clean upon arrival. It is a little further out than we thought but it made for a nice quiet nice which was unexpected on fourth of July weekend. Breakfast was standard but good. Overall was a nice updated hotel for a nice quiet getaway.
My family and I stayed there for our family vacation, we were very impressed with the rooms. At check in the front desk manager Maritza was very helpful and quick at checking us in to our room. When we arrived to the rooms we were so delighted to find the room so clean.( WE ARE VERY PEEKY PPL) Breakfast was amazing with so much variety. We will be stopping by next family vacation.
The kids and I are here for a couple of days. We decided we'd review today. Thus far we have only thumbs up. Breakfast was delicious. The pool excellent and we really enjoyed the fitness room. The room was very comfortable. Will be letting all know if in the Boerne, TX. area book a stay here.
The desk clerk was very helpful recommending local tourist attractions, and great dine in restaurants. The room was very spacious and clean. My children and I absolutely loved the location of the pool, which was shaded by the sun. The breakfast was filled with variety of fruits and cereals.
For the price, the hotel could have provided a better quality of toilet paper. a hot tub would have been nice, I felt the price was still high for a hotel on the highway, nothing to do near by, but the bed and room was nice.
Was very impressed with everything overall. Very clean rooms and beautiful pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Was convenient to golfing, shopping and restaurants Breakfast was excellent with many choices. We will stay there again when traveling to San Antonio area..
The staff was exceptional. Hotel has been recently renovated. It is beautiful and has modern furniture that is really nice. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Had no problems at all. Rooms were so clean and neat. I would recommend staying here to anyone! Thank you for your fabulous hotel.
this best western is very fresh and clean hotel very convenient location for my trip.i love the room well decorated very comfortable bed clean bathroom great high speed internet the breakfast is great a lot of variety .
the entire staff at this hotel was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were more than comfortable and the decor was very nice, I always judge a hotel by the bathroom and this one was very acceptable,
I will not recommend that you stay at this hotel right now until the managers upgrade the AC and refrigerators. If loud AC noises awake you and you desire a good night of sleep and rest, don't stay here right now. BW has put a lot of work into renovating this hotel, but I don't know why they are slow on upgrading the AC and refrigerators. Also, the key card has to be reactivated often. I found myself locked out of my room twice. It was a bit of a hindrance to have to catch up with someone to reactivate my key more than once. On night time staff member was very helpful and caring, but the morning staff was uncaring and disinterested.
I stayed at Best Western in Boerne Texas and I was well satisfied. Hotel was clean, and the service was fantastic. It was recently remodeled and they did an amazing job. They have the best complimentary breakfast and tons of items to choose from. Will definitely be returning!!
It's a brand new hotel that's been remolded with new furniture. I was very impressed with the hotel and especially the amazing staff. So helpful and friendly and willing to go out of their way. I will definitely be staying there again and recommending it to everyone I know!!
I love this new best western. It's new just opened in March. Very clean. Front desk clerk Maritza is very professional. Will definitely return to best western when we are back in town. Love the out door pool. They have new items in breakfast witch is nice compared to traditional breakfast.
Brand-new beautiful hotel. I think we were the first visitors to our room. Might be a little hard to find without mapping devices if you're coming from the Texas wine country, but it's directly off one of I-10 exits for Boerne. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean. Plenty of easy parking. Standard breakfast fare.
I chose this Best Western due to its proximity to a wedding venue that I was attending. I knew that it was Spring Break weekend and the rates were going to be higher, but for what I paid the quality of the room was terrible. I walked in and none of the wall light switches worked, there was a cleaning towel/rag left on the foot of my bed, curtains were missing from the window and the toilet ran every 10-15 minutes. Again I was really only in the room when I checked in at 4 and returned from the wedding which was around 11:30 that night and fell asleep as fast as I could. When I finally left the associate asked me how my stay was and I unfortunately did not tell her then how bad it was, I was just ready to get out of there and back on the road. I know this property is under renovations, but some of the basic things were not addressed from the start. I probably would wait on staying here until it is finished with their renovations.
We stayed at the La Quinta 2 1/2 weeks ago and paid $83 with a military discount and our 2 dogs. Came through this past weekend and it was changed to Best Western and was charged $215! OUTRAGEOUS! There was no changes to the hotel except for the name. Definitely will be looking for a new hotel next time we come through. Oh and they told my husband at checkout it was $160 and we checked our account today and they charged us $215
This is the second time staying here for us. The property has been going through a major overhaul and is almost complete. The rooms are nice and clean. Beds are comfortable, didn't care for the pillows but we aren't the "princess and the pea". Have not stayed at any other properties in Boerne so can't compare. The rate was $35 cheaper than a (LQ) few miles south at the Dominion. Worth a ten minute drive in my opinion. I have mentioned being a breakfast snob. Prefer egg whites which are not possible unless boiled eggs are available, they were not. Typical "free breakfast" for a hotel. The stay was fine, nothing special but we will likely stay again if the rate is better than neighboring properties.
We were out for a weekend in the hill country of Texas and Boerne is a great place to stay for that. We chose the La Quinta because they are pet friendly and we take our dog with us everywhere. They are having problems with their TVs but other than that we were very pleased and would stay again if in Boerne. The staff was very friendly and helpful also.
We stayed here on our way to Arizona from florida. The hotel looks and feels great, clean, fresh, like new. The rooms are the same, beds comfortable. Sandy did a great job finding a room and getting us checked in and giving us directions etc. The TV did not work so we were moved quickly a couple doors away. The hotel does not have much near it, so eat before. Quick on and off the I10. Breakfast is the usual Laquinta, but the area clean and well presented. Get a room rear non parking side to avoid some road noise. Good internet,
Currently remodeling but the carpet wasn't trimmed. Refrigerator made a loud noise. No extra linens for the pull out bed so daughter had to sleep on the couch. There was one extra pillow but no pillow case, so could not use. Bathroom had huge nail holes still in the wall. But the biggest complaint was the tub didn't drain. I hate that!!! Nasty. Very unprofessional remodel. Not impressed.
