Ole Bull, BW Signature Collection

Me and my friend stayed here in April, and we were so happy we did! The location was perfect, right in the sentrum of Bergen, with walking-distance to everything. We stayed in a studio-room, and that was so nice! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, we had a big bathroom, and a spacious livingroom with a couch, tv and diningtable. The kitchen had a big fridge, oven, microwawe, you name it! It also had the equipments we needed, with cutlery and cleaning products. And the view was so nice. The window was facing a not so busy road, with green space, it wasnt as noisy as one could think. The staff was also very nice.

Superb location in the heart of the city with a stones throw from all the happening areas . Many restaurants and an on sight nightclub . The latter was however too noisy on the weekend we stayed and rooms on the lower floors were really impossible from the sleep angle . We had a larger apartment on the 6 th floor which was fine being street facing as well . The property has no restaurant to serve breakfast and Bergen is a laid back town . Many places open only at 11 and one ought to be well prepared for that . The reception too has limited working hours and almost all access is key controlled .

Did not realize I had booked an apartment and not a hotel room but for the price I was pleasantly surprised. The location was decent, not super close to the train station but quite close to the local tram stop. They had two elevators which was nice but one did malfunction once, sending me up and down several times before I finally got down. The staff were not the friendliest and the room although spacious looked very cheaply put together and had many flaws. The room was clean despite poorly laid floor and a gap in the door that often let in cigarette smoke. It was nice having a full kitchen and large fridge although I did only cook once. Downsides were the staff was rather unfriendly and there was no possibility of late checkout without paying a princely sum. I would probably stay somewhere different my next time in Bergen.

Stayed for 3 nights in a superior room for 3 people. Loads of space, sofa bed was big and comfortable and easily folded to make sofa. TV with Netflix. Bathroom with underfloor heating was superb and powerful shower. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and location could not be better. We stayed Tuesday-Friday and no issue with noise at all.

Wonderful location, room, service, and restaurant on top. I wish I could have stayed longer, I will definitely stay there on my next trip.

I should have read the reviews before hand. i would have known how loud it was going to be till 3am and we were on the 6th floor. The accommodation itself was ok, self contained but we were there on a Saturday night and the streets around the Hotel were party central and the hotel itself has a nightclub till 3am. So, we were not expecting that, but should have done our homework. The area itself was good for us to be based to walk around the city and there were lots of places to eat. But if you were heading into the city centre for fun then go ahead and book it. But if you have just got a boat and was staying there a couple of days and it included the weekend, I would say don't. The positive, all staff were wonderful, even the security officer stationed in the foyer on the Saturday night.

The location is very rate - especially closeness to the wharves where our ship was departing and arriving from. Great restaurants are just outside the door, as are all the sights and sounds you expect to be part of in Bergen. We traveled to and from the airport by tram - very easy to use, and only a 5 minute walk from the Ole Bull front door. Apartment rooms were spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. There was some noise early in the evening, but by midnight is was lovely and quiet - we had a room at the front. The shared laundry facilities are great for us - we had been on the move for some time, so it was great to catch up with washing a suitcase full of stuff. Staff were great - Olrick a stand out, but all were very helpful and interested in us.

Very good location, beautiful landscape surrounding the hotel, staffs highly professional and friendly; the rooms are quite clean and the cooking wares are available.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ole Bull Apartments. The location couldn't be better – right in the centre of Bergen, with everything within walking distance. The apartment concept is unique and practical, with a small kitchen corner that makes it easy to prepare breakfast or a simple dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I missed was a microwave, but overall it was a great and pleasant stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bergen!

Only a one night stay but I was very impressed by this accommodation. Really well equipped apartment which was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for transport links and as a base for exploring Bergen. On checking out the lovely lady on reception was very helpful with storing our bags til later and giving advice on the city. Well worth using when in Bergen.

Stayed here for one night for a family event in Bergen. I did not like it. Something about the cleanliness that really bothered me. We did not get enough towels. The view of the room in the backyard with windows all towards us. Felt no privacy. Wont recommend it. Loud music from the bar at 1st floor was really bothering.

As a couple with an 18 month old toddler we had a good 2 night stay at the Ole Bull. It's in such a great location, with many points of interest within walking distance. We requested a cot when booking and it was ready in our room upon arrival. Our room was a good size and the main living area was modern. There were good amenities in the kitchen and having the ability to screencast on the TV was ideal. There are also self-serve laundry facilities for a small fee which was fantastic to have as we had a short stop on a long trip. We found the staff at the hotel to be friendly and helpful. However, we found the apartment to be incredibly dark and was not as clean as we would have liked it to have been, with a lot of dust and crumbs in the fridge. The sofa was incredibly uncomfortable - definitely more style over substance. We had seen other reviews about noise levels of the nightclub over the weekend and although we did not experience this (Sunday and Monday stay) we experienced a lot of noise from other guests with children running around our floor screaming and shouting for long periods of time after 9pm both nights - a real issue when you have a little one in bed.

What a great hotel! Very reasonably priced compared to other Bergen hotels. Fantastic location close to tourist sites, restaurants, shops, and pedestrian walkway. Our suite had a private bedroom and separate sofa bed sleeping place for kids with a small kitchen. The staff went above and beyond. This was an A+ experience that exceeded our expectations!

Great centralized location, a short walk to everywhere Staff polite and helpful Apartment had oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher. Apartment was large with lots of storage Sofa bed was very comfortable. Room temperature was perfect Shower hot and good pressure Apartment clean Lift activated via room key adding extra safety Apartment perfect to make your own breakfast if you have to be up really early for trips , before most breakfast option open. No breakfast offering onsite is not a problem as there are plenty of other options near by inc hotel next door On a few night you could hear music from somewhere nearby , but that didn't go on too late

Convenient location only 5 minute walk from the light rail, bus station, and train station. Very clean rooms and comfy bed. No breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes nearby. No major loud noises (stayed Monday through Wednesday). Very friendly staff.

I stayed there for one night in a studio, and I must say it was amazed. First of all the location is great, as it is in the middle of the center close to everything, and also a short walk to Bryggen. The studio appartment was clean, spacious and had a really good athmosphere. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microvawe, and even a dishwasher, there was absolutely nothing missing there! Big flatscreen-tv, dining-table, sofa, and a very comfertable bed with Nice pillows and sheets. The bathroom was spacious, spotlessly clean and the shower(rainshower) was amazing. Also, there is room for late checkout with a small fee, and there is also possible to do your laundry in the building for 35kr with detergent inkluded, which is great. When you are busy as I am, this place was really good for relaxation in between. I must also give Credit to a very helpful and Nice personel. This Will be the only hotel I choose in the future. Highly reccomended!

The place is in a great location and the staff were all very friendly. The room was clean but the shower was lukewarm at best when we showered upon arrival after travelling. Every shower after was fine though. The real issue is that you should definitely not stay here on a Friday or Saturday night unless you're going to be out until 3:30am anyway. There's a nightclub in the building and the bass from the music kept us awake until 3:15am on our first night visiting Bergen. We were on the fourth floor but we might as well have been in the entrance to the nightclub. No idea what the hotel could even do to fix this without having the nightclub stop so if you're going to stay here, just don't stay here on a Friday or Saturday night. Other than that it was fine.

Had the pleasure of staying here with my partner and 3 year old child. Firstly, check in is at 3 however I requested an early check in and were very happy to have had it arranged for us. Room is a decent size with a small child's bed added for us. Room also had a decent sized kitchen with all amenities you'd require for a short stay. Location is excellent, right in the middle of the city centre and a short walk from the Bergen light rail system. Only slight criticism was the sofa and the bathroom. Firstly the sofa in the room despite being a bit trendy, was very uncomfortable and made it hard to chill out in the room in front of the TV. The bathroom had an excellent heated floor however was not to the same standard as the rest of the room and could have been updated. There was also a lot of drilling/construction noise during the day which is probably unavoidable.
