Access on and off the interstate is fairly easy. There are a number of gas stations and eating places (both fast food and sit-down) within a short distance of the hotel. The front desk clerk was very welcoming and helpful. The room was quite satisfactory.
This is very misleading. The hotel advertised in the booking is not the same building as the one you stay at. The building advertised is closed down and theres a brand new building next to it but it looks completely different. There was a beautiful indoor pool advertised but there is only an outdoor pool at the new building and it was closed. Absolutely zero notification/communication about this drastic change. We cancelled our reservation and left. Front desk lady was really kind at least.
Very nice place to stay very friendly staff recommend staying there anytime you're in that area I stay there all the time when I go there the staff is very friendly walking distance to food, quiet hotel never have any problems with anybody. All the amenities are great.
Clean room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. . Andi was very courteous and helpful at check in. We travelled from Ontario, Canada to North Carolina for a wedding and Bentleyville is about half way so perfect for an overnight stop. Only one EV charger but we were the only EV there so that was ok. We would stay here again.
This Resort truly is a resort. The guest room we had which was just a basic suite was unbelievable. The room was large. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was ideal. The staff was extremely courteous. They greated you with chocolates. This is a MUST stay.
We stopped here for a night on our way back from Canada to get much needed rest and it did the trick. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable and hot breakfast options were plentiful. Initially the TV was not working but the attendant gave some tips to check the wires which solved the problem.
A bit dated but room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Good options at the free breakfast. Restaurant options are limited to fast food only. Only 15 minutes off I79 on I70
We were on the road all day making deliveries we called to se if they had truck parking…Andi answered and was very helpful and friendly…the property is very clean as well as the rooms…
Very nice Best Western. Convenient to get to. Very clean rooms. Breakfast was good. All staff were very nice. Highly recommend.
Room was very clean especially for a pet room. Love it when they have no carpeting in the pet rooms. Also loved the high toilet makes it much easier for us older folks. Would stay here again.
The beds are VERY comfortable, which is so welcome after a long day in the car. The water pressure is strong in the showers. The staff are very helpful. Hot breakfast a plus. This hotel has become our favorite stop when traveling to see family. We have never used the pool. We are waving to the cowboy as we go.
Their breakfast is always exceptional! It's consistent and it's delicious. The staff is on top of it and it's very clean. The rooms are also extremely clean and it's nice and quiet. The cleaning staff makes sure you have everything you need on a daily basis. You never have to go searching for things. The staff in general are just friendly, helpful people.
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. They even gave me a pointer for avoiding rush hour the next day (and it worked). As a big fan of good hotel breakfasts, this hot breakfast buffet ranked right up there. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked spacious and we will if we stay there again in the future. If I'm ever in the area is stay here again.
Unbelievably this hotel allows (irresponsible and unworthy) dog owners to leave their animals in the room unattended. As a result, we were kept awake until approximately 1:00 a.m. by the obnoxious barking dogs in the room(s) beside ours.
They lack room accomodations for your furry friends, but there is a very nice, and safe walking area. If they would fence in the front area, it would be perfect to let the hyper ones burn off that energy and play fetch.
Friendly and informative staff. Everybody was super friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast food was fresh. The coffee nook though is in a corner of the breakfast area which I sometimes had to wait in a small line while Jones-in for my coffee. Bentleyville PA though is a small town with limited stores and restaurants.
The place was nice and clean. The staff was amazing and friendly. The room was nice and comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom light and the toilet. But we were only there for 2 nights so it was no big deal.
This motel is located in Bentleyville, PA, east, outside of Pittsburg. We hate to travel through Pittsburg to get to our daughter's house. When we found this Best Western, we can travel around the east side and away from Pittsburg traffic to get to her home. The Best Western Garden Inn is very clean, accommodating. Staff is friendly, the breakfast area is very clean and host is excellent.
Great experience! Clean, comfortable room. Easy access to the outside areas. Lots of room for pups to stretch their legs in grassy areas. Great breakfast. Pleasant, helpful Staff. Convenient on/off HWY.
We loved staying at this location with our family and friends. We brought young children and they loved playing in the pool and all the great breakfast options. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The location was great for traveling into Pittsburg for the day but affordable and out of the busy city. We will be back again!
An enjoyable stay at a fine establishment. Friendly and professional staff who show genuine interest in making sure you have an enjoyable stay. I plan to stay at this property again when I am in the area.
Friendly, efficient, reliable, workers. Breakfast area clean and inviting. Yummy and different food selections each morning. Coffee and tea available 24/7. Desk associates very helpful and knowledgeable. Safes available in the room. Newspapers offered daily.
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great experience from start to finish. Check in was seamless. Andi was friendly and helpful. We were happy to find our room included a sofa. The tv had nearly 200 channels available and the WiFi service was better than we've experienced in other hotels. We made good use of the coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The king size bed was beyond comfortable, especially for a hotel! Breakfast was available until 10:00 every morning and it was great. Lots of variety and an excellent coffee machine! The gentleman looking after the breakfast bar did an amazing job. The place is spotlessly clean and he kept everything well stocked and hot. The housekeeping staff were also amazing. Even the stairwells were kept clean. I saw an electric vehicle charging station in the parking lot. And there are plenty of options within a very short walking distance for food. McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, a Pilot Travel Centre with a Cinnabon inside and a Dollar General, where we bought paper plates and plastic cutlery for our Pizza Hut pizza and Cinnabons! It was a 20 minute drive to Washington and a 45 minute drive to Pittsburg. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for somewhere quiet, clean and friendly to stay. We will be back.
The location was very convenient, just off the interstate with a dollar store and gas station in walkable distance. It was pretty clean, but they don't provide conditioner for your hair. We stayed in a King/Queen room. The King bed was ok, but the Queen was stiff as a board. The breakfast was fantastic and the dining area was kept neat and stocked. The price was reasonable.
Front desk staff friendly, breakfast crew awesome. The rooms were clean but everything is so dated and dirty. The carpeting is old, dirty and torn. The couch the same and wouldn't sit on it without a towel. The over use every electric outlet with plugs which is a safety concern for our stay. It's sad to see them in this way, they have been our favorite place to stay on our travels East
Still on vacation visiting family and friends. This hotel is easy access on and off major highway. Large room with exceptional shower and towels. Friendly staff and a few restaurants within walking distance.
While this area does not have any restaurants other than fast food, if your just need to stay overnight, it is clean and nice for the price. The TV in the room is dated should that be something that is an issue, it was not for me. The breakfast, while prepared, was absolutely the best continental breakfast and the gentleman who runs it is amazing and keeps everything clean and stocked Everything stays fresh and the variety is great.
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was fresh and tasted delicious. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels in area. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Checking in greeting and welcome was outstanding. Electronic bathroom lights were new and great. Never have seen those before. Breakfast was truly outstanding. Gentleman always working and cleaned everything immediately. Left a tip for him.
We booked the Garden Inn in Bentleyville for both the outbound and return trip from Oklahoma to Philadelphia, Manhattan, Cape Cod, and Boston. We had already canceled one return hotel based on our first stay. The BW Garden Inn was a nice, quiet, clean stay. The breakfast solid and fresh. The room was comfortable with no problems with the AC or fixtures. All in all a nice, convenient to the highway, comfortable place to stay for a day or two!
I decided to stay here because I've been working in the area. This was the best hotel I've stayed at so far. Nicole was great while I was there. She was very pleasant and helpful. I had a few issues while I was there. Jessica was one of the best managers I've dealt with in a while. I had a points stay and there was an issue with the hold. She went a step above to make sure the hold was released in a timely manner. She also apologized for some of the minor issues that the room had. She showed me that she legitimately cares and the guests are important to her. I would definitely stay here again based on how I was treated.
Everything was better than we expected. Friendly staff. Breakfast area very clean and well stocked. Swimming pool was refreshing and clean. Shower curtain had a dirty handprint in the middle and should've been noticed by housekeeping. Bottom of toilet needed to be wiped. Rollaways need to be replaced. Main beds were great.
Always a great stay at this location. Staff is friendly, professional and always prepared for check in and check out. I make it a point to stay at this best western whenever I'm traveling through western PA.
This place is no good at all. The problem is if you Have to go to Bentleyville this is all you have. We had to go for a funeral so we're stuck essentially. The room was disgusting. Dirty, stained, old and musty. I laid towels on the floor just to walk because my socks got dirty. It was not Covid friendly either. The furniture was stained and so were the walls. The drain in our tub didn't drain. Talk about gross. Next time I'll stay in Pittsburgh and commute there if there is a next time.
My father and I spent one night during February 2022. I would have happily rated this hotel as one of the best I have experienced in this price range had it not been for the actions of one member of the staff. Upon checking in (approx 5 pm) I was greeted by a desk attendant, Andi, who asked my name for my reservation. I answered her and quickly spelled it, which I often do due to my accent. Her attitude at that moment became demeaning and quite hostile as she responded that she "had taught school for over 20 years and there was no need to spell" for her. While registering me for my room she continued to speak under her breath that she "was a teacher and spoke 5 languages". At that point, I attempted to apologize to her even though I felt I had done nothing but try to be polite. My attempts were met with a glare. By this time, I was considering leaving and giving up my reservation but I was concerned about my ability to find another hotel and any possible difficulties I would encounter when requesting a refund. So despite my uneasiness, I continued the process. The encounter became even more unpleasant when I inadvertently attempted to fill out an unneeded space on the vehicle identification form. My desk clerk snapped at me that she "had not highlighted that area" and I did not need to fill it out. The room itself was very clean and pleasant, our morning breakfast was hot and filling, and check-out was fast and efficient. But despite these positives, the encounter with Andi was so bothersome that it colored my entire experience with this business. I do not think I can bring myself to return to an establishment that would allow a person such as Andi to treat weary guests in this manner.
We were welcomed and treated royally but the evening staff. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Our only issue is the lack of quality restaurants near by. But the one recommended to us was great!
I was in the area to attend baseball and football games in Pittsburgh. I generally look for something affordable since I travel into the area alone and don't wish to spend huge sums for a place to stay for leisure. This place was quiet and within a reasonable driving distance to Pittsburgh to suit my needs. I am also a Best Western Rewards member, so I got points for the stay that can be redeemed in the future. Best Western is currently offering another promotion on top of this as well--a bonus. The main complaint would be the breakfast. The people working the breakfast the first morning after I arrived seemed more intent on annoying me rather than having fresh eggs on the buffet. I mentioned something to the assistant GM on my way out the door several hours later. Anyway, the breakfast was nothing great. Everything else was fine, though. I will definitely put this on my list of places to return to and I will consider staying here again!
Check in was quick staff was friendly, the room was clean and tidy. We use the pool and had a really good breakfast, the hotel is very quiet and well-maintained I would highly recommend using this location if you happen to be in that area.
Spent four nights at this hotel and could not be more impressed. Very clean, updated rooms, staff friendly, full breakfast each day and price outstanding. My sister and I grew up in this area and try to make it back yearly. I will never stay anywhere else! Kudos to all and thank you for a great stay.
Not only did this hotel meet our overnight sleep requirements, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Andi greeted us at check in and insured us that our stay would be restful and entertaining. It was. We hope to return soon.
The hotel was nice and our room was beautiful. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Unfortunately our room was next to the mechanical room. I rated this place as 5 star bec I think only 1 room in the whole place is affected by the noise. But it is significant in this room. Keeping the fan on instead of auto on/off would help.
We have stayed here often but unfortunately we encountered several incidents from a poof staff member there this time. I believe his name was Craig, a large, loud man from Jamaica. While having breakfast there he came up to my adult daughter screaming at her that she cannot rest her foot in the edge of an old table. When asked if he worked there he created a scene and started getting louder and louder being very confrontational. We complained about him to the manager Jessica. I have never had to complain about a hotel employee in my life and do a lot of traveling. Then I find out that the morning before he was very rude with my 86 year old mother who was stirring her coffee and cream with a straw because she could not find the little plastic coffee stirrers. My sister in law also had a problem when she took a non breakable thermos to the pool with ice water in it. She was told that it could clog the pool filter. This makes no sense at all. She had no food or glass containers. Anyway that employee has no business dealing with the public and hopefully will not be there long as it make guests want to never return. We heard other guests complain about him also.
theis place is really good from time we got to front desk and met Joe to leaving in morning. everyone was so pleasant to talk with and helpful made you feel like at home. very clean and decor was above par for motel. good job really enjoyed our stay wish others would take some lessons from this place
Newer hotel. Very nice lobby/lounge area. Room very clean & spacious. Big counter & sink in bathroom, TV had no sound the first night. Repaired the next morning. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was very good. Nice seating area. A/C was just OK. Cooled the room but not enough for sleeping. Hotel discounted our room for the TV issue. Actual visit in May 2019.
We chose this hotel for its convenience to the highway, halfway point in travels, and because it was pet friendly. We would definitely return. Clean room and linens; well lit outside so no issue taking dog out at 3am to pee; and best water pressure of any hotel shower I have ever experienced. I think the WiFi might have been slow, but wasn't an issue fir us. I especially liked that our room had new flooring, no ugly, smelly carpet!!
My boyfriend and I recently stayed overnight at this hotel. We checked in and the front desk associate Andi was very friendly and had her mask on properly. When we went to our room we had a small issue with the TV. Andi came and fixed it in a timely manner. When we went to check out NO ONE had their masks on right. We both have compromised health issues. It isn't like it's the first time having to wear one. I am very disappointed with this company.
I stayed at this hotel 4 times for multiple nights and we like this hotel. We had to cut our last day short because they would not let me in the hotel thru the lobby without a face mask. They said on the door it was under Governor Wolf's orders. Governor Wolf plainly said on Tv that masks are not mandated by him. My wife and I have medical conditions that make it not safe for us to wear the masks. Also the hotel should not say it's by governors order when the Governor clearly said it was not. I am a Best Western Premiere member and because of this hotel we got displaced to Ohio.
We arrived Friday night, when we got to our room it was covered in white powder (pesticide). The perimeter of the room, the dresser drawers and all furniture was covered. The lady at the front desk looked surprised and said usually if there was a bug issue the room would be out of service but admitted this was bed bug treatment.( she said she was unaware of bugs though of course) she did switch our room but after the 1st rooms appearance the entire weekend was spent praying my family wouldn't get bed bugs from this place rather then enjoying our weekend away. The front desk staff on Friday and Sat night was not very personable but she was ok. The Sunday morning desk staff snapped at my husband when he went to check out and rudely said “The receipt was under you door for a reason” We never received any receipt under the door and her customer service skills were unprofessional, she then whipped our receipt at him. After our stay I will most like stay clear of any Best Western and 100% will stay away from this one. Usually I don't base my hotel choice off of the negative reviews but I should have this time.
It was workable. Not much in the way of amenities or close by dinner options. The room was clean and quiet. Elevator was slow. Breakfast was standard free breakfast fare. The yogurt machine did not work very well. Not too far off I-70.
This property has taken a bad turn in how they take care of the facility and guests the lobby hallways and elevator were tracked with mud from construction crews that were staying at the hotel no one cleaned up this mess construction workers sitting in the breakfast area drinking a case of beer and being loud and using fowl language while families are trying to have breakfast. the breakfast area not being kept clean. Time to look for a new hotel in the area
oveall it was a very nice and comfortable. the breakfast wasn't to bad. better then most. the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. i would recommend it highly. i would stay there again when i return to the area
Since this was my first stay at Best Western in over 20 years ago, I am now a new member and not sure why I left this property. I'll definitely be back...so far besides the Bentleyville property, I have stayed at the BW at Stateside NC and currently I'm writing this from my room in Starky Fl...tomorrow I'll be in the BW in Venice Fl for 2 nights...they spoiled me....thanks BW.
The lady at this hotel was rude from the start. As I received a look and no welcome to Best Western. I gave her my information, my wife was with me and gave her information with her credit card. The lady at the front desk scroll through the screens still saying nothing. She never mentioned my Diamond member status. In fact I asked asked her if the screen says I am a diamond member. She says "I don't see that here?" So I wait for her to finish her rude and yes borderline racist undertones which ill fill in later because what we witnessed. Back to the 1st problem. After she began making our keys I said "ill take my points and not gift" she said ok. Now if screen didn't say I was the status I was then why is she agreeing to my points? Which leads to later. Going to ask her for change to use laundry at hotel. A white man is at desk with the same lady that checked us in. Was very friendly explaining his benefits for his member status flirting saying to him " Here is your member# so should you make reservations at another best western. But you better not" etc. I was utterly disgusted. The lady was extremely rude. Or racist. Either way that's probably NOT who I would want representing BW. Its not acceptable.
Clean and typical moderately priced hotel-- front desk was welcoming and accommodating. Beds were the squishy foam type-- in this type of stay we prefer the Comfort Inn firm mattresses, but ok for a night. Had to move from first room because other rooms were filled with barking dogs. Second room's heat did not work on first night temps dropped-- we didn't want to move again after checkout the bill was reduced by half, though we did not ask for this. Breakfast was mediocre version of standard buffet fare-- stale bread, old fruit-- as was the diner in the same parking lot. If you have to stay in Bentleyville for any reason, this isn't terrible-- not a place to recommend for anything except for the staff friendliness of both the hotel and diner.
This is a beautiful property. It's clean and the staff is friendly. They provide a great hot breakfast. The bed and room were comfortable. There's adequate parking and it's close to stores and restaurants and the highway.
I love Best Western in general! But this one was VERY pretty! Very clean and made me feel great that we were staying there! Believe me, I'm super picky about cleanliness! Beds and bathroom were clean and smelled nice!
We stayed here for one night on a road trip. It is easy to find and the front desk staff is wonderful. They are very friendly with great recommendations for dinner. This is an older hotel but it was still clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was perhaps my best nights sleep of the whole trip. The breakfast in the morning was very good.
Good location just off I70. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a king bed with a whirlpool bath in the room. Indoor swimming pool, free wi-fi, free breakfast. We had a problem with the A/C leaking and it was fixed when we returned. Rooms are very clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly. Entire hotel is very nice for such a small town.
Room was spacious and comfy. All staff was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Breakfast every day was easy at least an hour before advertised. Felt very safe being here alone. Everything was clean and well kept. Great water pressure and deep tub for soaking!! Will definitely return.
Older hotel.. Staff was nice..Mostly fast food near by.. Beds were good, mix of pillows.,good pressure in shower..Carpet had stains.. Walls needed a paint job. Breakfast ok,not much of healthy choices..
I left my prescription eye glasses in the room and the cleaning person either took them or threw them away!! Why wouldn't a hotel employee turn in someone's glasses?! I obviously need them and would be back for them! The desk personnel were not helpful or concerned at all about this, they acted like this was not a big deal. The staff were unpleasant and the rooms were not very clean. There is a holiday inn right next door. I would never stay at this hotel again.
Conveniently located near the interstate exit. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and the high speed internet and television worked well. Lobby and breakfast area were clean and there was an adequate selection of food. Friendly staff. All of our needs were met.
Very comfy and cozy easy to get to. The Staff is very nice and helpful, its just a nice hotel I wish they had a hot tub but they don't thats really the only downfall to the place. it has a very nice looking lobby
We would stay here for a day or 2 to just get away. Last stay everything was good. This stay, got in our room trash was in room and i noticed a bug crawling.. looked on google which was a split imagine of a bed bug. My friend called the desk and the lady was very sweet and helped us out but i was already laying on the bed and noticed out the corner of my eye a bug. I was disgusted. She came up and not only one, but 2. I stripped down and threw my clothes out. I wanted them no where coming home with me. Thank god our stuff we didn't have a lot and it was on chair and desk but still was disgusting. We switched rooms after the lady said she was going too because of trash in room and the second room was ok, still a smoking room but burn holes were in mattress and black smear spots of which i'm assuming were ashes. We tore everything apart to make sure there was no bugs. This was ok for the night, my brother was coming home from the army so we stayed pretty close. I go to college about 2 hours away and this is where my stop was before going home. It's sad because this was our “free night voucher” after multiple previous stays and it's NOT what we wanted to have a free night as. I am very furious and i don't complain unless their is an issue. I understand completely considering I work in a hotel myself. Like i said me and a few friends like to just come and stay for a night or 2 and relax. It's a great hotel, but i definitely don't appreciate or like the fact that this was wasted on a free night when I could've gotten better. Something does need done though considering I am not happy about this. This was definitely a bed bug and not another type of bug considering i know what they look like working in a hotel myself. Gross. I was so sketched out i was itching all night/next morning.
We were surprised! Great value! We had a pet friendly room right near the side entrance. indoor pool, in-house guest laundry room (though some of the machines were out of order). We had a great hot breakfast daily. It really worked out well.
Easy to get to from highway. Seemed to be recently updated. Nice, large indoor pool that was heated. Andi at the front desk was very nice. About a 50 minute drive from Pittsburgh and not a lot around except for a McDonald's, Burger King, Subway, and grocery store. King's Restaurant is within walking distance of hotel and offers 10 percent discount for hotel guests. Free breakfast was very good. Remote control for the TV was in a clean bag so you know it's been cleaned, which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay again.
Hotel is clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was awesome. Making a 22 hour straight drive it was a huge relief to check in and get a good hot breakfast and sleep. My son loved the pool and we can't wait to go back
While the rooms appeared nice, we woke up covered in bites the next morning after I killed a huge spider we found in the bed. The hallway had a foul odor as well (skunk). It was gone the next morning.
This was our second stay at this Best Western. Quiet but very close to Toll road. Nice accomodations, great breakfast, and great service. We will definately stay here again if traveling this way! We stay in Best Westerns 90% of our travels and this place was one of the best!
I found the hotel was very easy to get to the staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean the amenities or exactly what I needed for the two nights that I stayed. The breakfast bar was excellent the check-in and check-out process was as easy as I thought it would be.
Trucking company put me in a room for the weekend. My trainer came in to make sure everything went smoothly. No problem there until she wanted my ID. No smile whatsoever very stern looking woman and never made eye contact with me. The next day went to check on truck and when I came back I said good morning as I walked by her she never looked up or said anything. I then stopped and said it louder and she continued to ignore me. They also don't have any vending machines, they do have a small room connected to the front desk that has a few bags of chips candy and sodas. Next time I hit this town i'll stay at the hotel next door.
We like staying at Best Western hotels because they are clean and have nice rooms. This one did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. The breakfast was good, and they had popcorn in the lobby!! It was convenient to Pittsburgh. Very nice place.
Not too far from Pittsburgh, easy on, easy off, I-70, clean rooms, friendly staff, offers coin laundry, plenty of parking. Breakfast had Make-Your-Own waffle option which is always a plus for me. This location doesn't offer a whole lot of choices for dinner..so we chose to drive over to Scenery Hill, PA for a fine dining experience.
Family members live in the area, which is 4 hr away for us. This is a nice, cheap, dog friendly place to stay for the rest of our family to go and visit. We are very satisfied, it's our second time staying here and we will be back I'm sure. We appreciate for the low price as well.
Arrived late Wednesday after driving 10 hours in the rain. We didn't want any difficulties checking in and we didn't have any. Everything went smoothly. We were even given a recommendation for dinner at a nearby restaurant that suited us to a “t”
The staff are always friendly. I stay here about 7 times a year on business and I'll drive a half hour out of my way so I can stay here because I don't have to worry about any nasty surprises like I do at other hotels. The breakfast is free, hot, great selections. The pool is very nice and clean. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable. Great for families and business trips.
This was a very relaxing atmosphere. The matresses at Best Western are always to my satisfaction.I slept peacefully. My husband enjoyed the popcorn machine and I enjoyed the coffee,at anytime.Having the Big Jim statue made it easier to find.
This is a very nice Best Western with all sorts of extra features like self service laundry machines, wall safes in the rooms, deluxe reception and breakfast areas, an indoor pool, an interesting outdoor statue and above average TV quality reception (picture was clear and not fuzzy like in a lot of motels). We were amazed to find all these features at the total of $93 including tax. Our room had every amenity you would expect in this price range plus the added feature of a wall safe. Everything was in good condition and the common areas were a great deal nicer and more complete than most would be in this price class. Service was top notch, professional and friendly. If we are ever in this area again, will be sure to stay here because these are above average accommodations at an average price so value is superior here. This place has way more features for its price than almost any other place I can recently recall.
Stopped here for an overnight stay while moving my daughter. Easy access off of Route 70 and it was pet friendly which was needed. Area is under a bit of construction so feels a little remote, but parking lot was full. Room was clean and comfortable, great water pressure in shower. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, but area was clean, food was hot and it was perfect for what we needed.
This hotel was absolutely wonderful. We called the day if to see about reserving a room that was pet friendly and the woman at the front desk was exceptional. Very few hotels allow large breed dogs, but this one welcomed us with open arms. We checked in around midnight, and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was great. The gentleman in charge was excellent at his job. Everything was fresh and well stocked. They had waffles and chocolate milk which was a plus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
We chose this motel because we were going to a Shania Twain concert in Pittsburgh and wanted a motel within a reasonable distance, that offered 2 queen sz beds. Our room had 1 king and 1 double. There were 3 of us so it was ok, just the point that it wasn't what my reservation said. We were on the 3rd floor and we could hear the truckers starting up their big rigs. The sheets were EXTREMELY noisy. We could hear each other moving in the beds. The carpet wasn't thoroughly vacuumed because there was stuff left on the floor nearest the window AC. The tv remote wouldn't change channels sometimes unless we moved it around, while holding down the channel changing button. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. If someone was in the bathroom and someone wanted to get ready and use a mirror, there wasn't one in the room itself and there is plenty of room on the wall above the desk to put one. Breakfast was ehhhh. The scrambled eggs were soggy so the kitchen person had to dump them out and make more. Also, the bacon was also laying in water because of the steam it shared with the scrambled eggs. There should have been sausage as an option too. No fresh fruit either. There were biscuits but they were cold and even though I waited until last to put the scrambled eggs on my plante, by the time I sat down, sprinkled some salt on them, they were ice cold. The kitchen person was kind enough to heat my plate in the microwave and wow, what a difference to be eating HOT food! I think there should be a microwave in the area where patrons could use it. There are several gas stations in very close proximity of the motel and almost directly across from the motel, there's a King's Family Restaurant and it was excellent! There's an indoor pool and we could also use the pool at the Holiday Inn that was next door, but we didn't use either, so I can't comment on them. The highlight of staying was the statue of Big Jim!
We were unfamiliar with this area and chose the hotel bc it was a bit of a deal on the internet. It's right off Rt 70 so it's very handy. Check in was a bit long but ok. Our room initially smelled of mildew from the AC. I used nasal cortisone spray and survived. The hotel is really quiet except for the AC. And it's not too bad. The rooms are comfortable. We had some issues with the TV remote but it was exchanged by the cheerful clerk. The hours of the cleaning crew were bizarre. Cleaning people came around at 8 PM or later. They were helpful and pleasant. The free breakfast was awesome unless you're allergic to cows milk products and wheat. I ate the pretty awful scrambled eggs almost everyday. One morning there was turkey deli meat floating in water next to the eggs. Looked like a bacterial nightmare. There was a different that advised that they had GF options. When I inquired I was told the GF option was Cheerios. That was a first. The eating area is clean and if you like waffles, bagels, muffins- you'll be fine.
Room was clean, comfortable. Breakfast is good. Only negative was wet carpet under in-room air conditioner that had not been noticed by staff. When this was brought to their attention, they addressed the problem.
Beds here are SO comfy and the pressure of the shower is fantastic! Room was clean & breakfast was delicious. Only reason I didn't rate 5 circles was because of Marie at the front desk. She made eye contact maybe twice and I'm sure her face would have cracked if she smiled. Didn't make us feel welcome at all.
Overall, neat, and clean. We had a reservation so all of our paperwork work was printed and ready for us to sign. Easy, fast check in. Our room was large, and updated. Bed was comfortable, and everything worked. I highly recommend this property as you get real value for your money!
Check in was a mess. Brown foam came from inside the hot tub drain. Staff was discouraging. Elevator was broken as well as the high speed internet being down. It's is a disaster trying to get to the location. Anything we needed from front desk we had to get ourselves. The pool operational time and rules were ridiculous, not to mention a film on top of pool water. We choose that location specificalloy for the pool and hot tub room.
I stayed here with my wife and son, it was quiet (even though it is close to highway and close to a construction site where they are rebuilding the highway off ramp) and we didn't hear any road noise. comfy beds, nice free breakfast and the wifi worked well. Exercise room had elliptical, treadmill, and bike, but not much for weight machines, only a leg extension and pec fly machine with no free weights.
My wife and I had a pleasant stay here this weekend. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. It has a really convenient access from the highway. Delicious breakfast! The indoor pool looked inviting, but wet didn't get a chance to try it out.
Clean, comfortable rooms in a good location. The water pressure in the shower was truly the best I've ever experienced at any hotel around the world. Wish I had it that good at home. Felt wonderful after a long day.
Located right off I70, but road construction makes it difficult at present. plenty of fast food outlets. The king size bed was very comfortable. Everything was very new. Pool area looked excellent. The breakfast area was large and modern.
Take the time to get past the construction (go through the rotary, down the road, turn left into the gas station and family restaurant area, and find your way back to the hotel). You'll be glad you did, as the front desk staff is very helpful, the place is beautiful, and the room was perfect.
Stressful week, and met my boyfriend here for a night in a jacuzzi room. the room had an odd set up with the couch being right next to the jacuzzi and the bathroom only had a small corner shower which was awkward to use. staff was very nice and room was clean.
Quite decent hotel .... should stay here ... best location ... rooms were also perfect and the hotel is in a very superb location .... the staff here are very good and impressive .... the best part of this hotel is that Walmart is just opposite .... you should visit here
The staff was very polite and was able to add a second pet room at the last minute. Rooms are nice but carpets could stand to be replaced in the near future. The breakfast area was clean and there was a nice selection of items to choose from. We are very familiar with the area so finding the hotel was not difficult since we have stayed here often. However, for a first time guest the extensive road construction in the area might prove to be a challenge.
We stayed 2 nights here (on Nov 24, 2017 & Dec 15, 2017). The staff members were friendly & helpful both times. The rooms were very clean & the beds were comfortable. We loved their breakfast! The bacon was thin & crispy. The ham was lean & nicely cooked. Of all the BW locations we have been to, I think this hotel served the best breakfast!
My daughter and I stayed at your hotel after a concert we saw that night at the PPG Paints Arena. We weren't sure about the 45 min drive to get there but we were certainly glad we did as our room was held for our late arrival. The beds were extremely comfy, coffee was delicious and breakfast in the morning was abundant and fresh! Very happy with our short but wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
Excellent hotel. Very clean and friendly. Good rates. Free breakfast. Has a pool and computers. Good heat. I enjoyed my stay with my family. I recommend Best Western. Best Western is the best. My first Time staying in a Best Western hotel.
I've stayed here twice now in six months as a dog-friendly overnight mid-travel stop. Pros: this hotel is very convenient as it is literally on the side of I-70 and next to several gas stations, convenience stores and restaurants. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and up to date. The showers and showerheads are a step up from most in this price range, although the bathrooms themselves are a little cramped. You get a few extra amenities like a shower cap and lotion, although they rely on the shampoo/conditioner combo which is disappointing. The tv has plenty of channels, pillows are a nice size, and I didn't feel that the heater was loud. The breakfast is very good--it's your standard BW eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereal, sausage, and juice, but it is executed well, stocked and served hot until 10:00 a.m. The eggs were delicious, not rubbery patties like some of the hotels, and the white coffee cup lids actually stayed on securely, unlike the black lids most of BW hotels have used, which have a tendency to pop-off or leak. They have an indoor pool, but if you want an outdoor pool during warm weather, you can use the one at the hotel literally across the parking lot. Their workout room is nicely appointed for a smaller hotel. They have a little concessions area in case of late night munchies that is a bit nicer than vending machines. The front desk clerk was pleasant. The central reservation line didn't notify her that I requested a dog-friendly room, so she waived the fee since she had already printed out the form. Cons: If you are sensitive to smoke, be careful to get a room close to the center of the hotel and only use the lobby entrance. The stairwells were incredibly warm and reeked of smoke. Once you proceeded to the hallway, it was fine, and my non-smoking room didn't smell of smoke at all either stay. But unless you use the lobby, you must enter/exit through the stairwell to get to the hallway and your room, and it was really bad. The grass and parking lot on the sides of the hotel had plenty of cigarette butts, and there were guests smoking literally in front of my car. Make sure you park away from the stairwell doors and only use the lobby during cold months. I don't remember the smell being as bad when I stayed during warmer weather, but there were still many stray cigarette butts. My bigger compliant is that neither of my stays were posted to the BW Rewards system. Both stays (with advance registrations, once directly with the Garden Inn, both times notified post-midnight check in) were listed as cancelled on the system. I called corporate and got the stays credited. They investigated and said I was reported as a no-show for both stays, cancelled in the corporate system, then never posted correctly when I arrived. Again, I was clear about my anticipated check-in time, I had email confirmation of the reservations, the staff had the rooms ready for me when I arrived, and there was no delay processing my payments. Because it's happened twice now at this hotel, while other BW's have handled the same issue without my intervention, I have to question why.
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 10 years as we visit relatives in the Bentleyville area. The relatives are in Roscoe and Belle Vernon so when we stay here we are in between. The hotel is always clean and comfortable with good service.
I brought my 77 year old mother up to PA for a family funeral. The staff was extremely patient and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Due to her health, I doubt we will ever get up there again but if we do, we will definitely stay there again! Great hotel and great price. I only give a "very good" for sleep quality because there's no place like your own bed! lol!! Thank you for your hospitality and all of your help!
Very nice and the location is right off the highway. The hotel offers drinks 24 x 7 in the break room where the tables are, Breakfast is really nice. The lady at the front desk will give you a nicer room if available.
Very nice accommodations and hotel staff. Beds were comfortable and room was well maintained. Early check-in was requested and granted. Breakfast bar was good. Reasonably priced. Will stay here again in the future.
Rooms are clean. Amenities (gym, pool) are in good repair and accessible. Opportunity to hang out after hours in lobby. Road construction leading to the hotel should be completed soon. Noise level was not noticed in our room.
10/10! The staff were friendly and greeted me as we came and went, the hotel and room and pool and breakfast area were always clean, the beds were warm and comfortable, the room is extremely well insulated, and the AC/Heating unit worked great. Even the conditioning shampoo was top notch at making my hair look great after a dip in the pool. My group and I never felt unwelcome, even though we stayed up in the breakfast area until 2am. I will say this has been my best hotel experience ever and I will probably be choosing Best Western from now on!
I stay here all the time when I pass through SW Pennsylvania on my way to and from Indiana & New York. It's right along I-70 and in close enough to the National Parks I visit and it is pet friendly. The hotel just underwent a remodel on the interior. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The amenities suite my needs.
Our stay at the Best Western in Bentleyville was very enjoyable, The hotel was clean, the service was very good, the bed was excellent, breakfast was very good with an excellent selection, and the staff was attentive to out needs.
The hotel has a "Home Sweet Home" feel, I stayed for a few nights and was treated with kindness, my stays were mostly for taking my Dad for hospital visits and surgery, the employees remembered us every time we would show up for a night or more.
We had a family event that we drove up for and staying at this BW just added to our short adventure. Staff was great, enjoyed use of the indoor pool and everything was clean and appealing. Recommend this hotel very highly for business or pleasure.
We checked in and then went to visit friends. It was a short stay but it was nice. The hotel was clean and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Looking forward to returning someday to visit our friends again.
For the most part the hotel is an excellent place to stay. The hotel staff were very friendly courteous and attentive to our needs. Only problems for anyone traveling with a disability the disability rooms in this facility are cramped but accessible for the most part. The rooms need to be a little bit larger for adequate spacing of the furniture in the room environment for mobility purposes.. Hotel staff was eager to share stories and history of the surrounding areas and also their life stories and for those that came to this country to seek a better life.
clean nice large room breakfast what you would expect from bw the wife asked for gravy for her biscuits which wasn't on the menu the gentleman on duty went and got her gravy she was so happy small town
So my stay at this disaster they bill as a 2.5 star hotel has just begun. I am returning from attending my cousins funeral. All in all over the past three days I have been on the road for nearly 30 hours. I chose this hotel because it was pretty highly rated by reviewers, and I just need d a clean place to sleep before driving the rest of the way to Philadelphia. Alas, my dreams of a clean room were just dreams. . First, although I hadn't seen anything on Hotwire or the hotel mobile website about them allowing smoking inside, they did and they stuck me in a smoking room. And anyone who has made we had the misfortune of staying in a smoking room knows how horrible the odor. Not even ozone or the fancy all natural spray that works like ozone can take away that smell. But I figure, I'll tough it out. I've been known to smoke, although I do not smoke inside houses or rooms because it's gross. Then, being exhausted from a trip that began early this morning, I start getting ready for bed only to discover that it did not seem that housekeeping had changed any of the bedsheets. I found hairs on pillows on both beds (took picture evidence) and also one of the decorative throw pillows had a disgusting spit stain on it (also took picture). So I go down and ask if I can be moved or get new bed sheets. Unfortunately it seems they are all booked up. So the front desk lady just gives me sheets and pillow cases so I can go change the sheets on the bed myself. She didn't offer anything else, except to talk to the manager about it. So then I, who am beyond irritated and tired, have to ask for gloves since it appears I have to change the sheets myself. I will say it wasn't the front desk lady's fault the room wasn't clean. Nor was it her fault that it appears upper management is too cheap to have a housekeeper on for night duty. However, she did not really offer any help other than to give me gloves and sheets. I was expected to just take care of it myself. I paid to stay in a clean room which essentially means I am contributing to this lady's earnings while she just sits behind the desk and also the house keepers', who were apparently too lazy to actually clean this room or at the very least put new bedsheets on even one of the beds. earnings. But they didn't have to do anything. I will be contacting the manager because I will be requesting a refund. I shouldn't have to do the employees work when I pay to stay there
Clean, up to date and friendly employees. The only thing I haven't experienced is the pool due to lack of time. I've stayed here several times before and have never had a bad experience! It's close to Rt 70 for easy access and also has easy access to a couple of restaurants, but country roads are close too.
Hotel staff very friendly when we checked in. In the middle of the night I felt a bite. Checked under the covers to discover a flea on my leg. I flushed it down the toilet then inspected the rest of the king size bed. I found 6 more on top of the blanket. Pulled the blanket off bed and away from bed and inspected bed. Did not find anymore so tried to rest as it was 2am. Got up to use the bathroom and had 3 more fleas jump on me on to the way to the bathroom. Put them in cup with water to show receptionist. She seemed very uninterested and I asked when a manager would be in. She said maybe 10. I asked if room 124 was a pet friendly room she said she didn't think so. She wrote down fleas in room 124 and said she would give to manager. Hung around until after 10 hoping to speak with a manager but no one showed up to the room. I advised the young lady that perhaps housekeeping should wash the blanket that I have pictures of fleas on. Very disappointed with nonchalant attitude of front desk and apparently the manager. Would've been nice to actually speak to someone in charge or at least be made to feel like they cared or would rectify the situation for future guests. They sure were quick to slip the bill stating my credit card would be charged under my door!
I have been staying at this Best Western for the past several years as it's the only hotel in the area that is pet friendly. Hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Also offers a buffet breakfast.
Disappointed in housekeeping and weak breakfast selection. Beds were not made after first nights stay and tissues were empty upon arrival and not replaced the next day even after putting empty box on sink. Bed sheets and pillow cases were not changed during three night stay and possibly not changed after previous guest checked out.
Hotel is nicely maintained. Clean, comfortable rooms. Clean, modern decor in the lobby and public areas. Exterior of hotel is nicely maintained and inviting. Friendly, helpful staff. I recommend this hotel.
Best Western is by far the best value and nice stay for the price of the room. I've stayed at various other chains for my business twice a month and other than a few small things, I've always enjoyed quality stays, especially at this hotel In Bentleyville, Pa. The breakfast is well stocked, thoroughly cooked and an enjoyable meal. The rooms are updated and the bed sleeps even better than my bed at home. The Internet is a bit slow and sometimes the HD channels will lag, but I've had worse experiences at the high price chains when the area I was working did not have a Best Western.
I enjoyed my stay at this clean, comfortable and professionally run property. The price was very fair for what I received in return. I will consider staying at this property on any upcoming trips I have to the area.
I was enjoying my stay, the employees were great, they were very helpful. They knew customer service. They listened to your concerns and ready serve. It was a great pleasure for my friends and myself to stay there.
This hotel was tremendous. I recommend it highly. The hotel is very clean. Parking is good. The staff works like a team. They are connected and work in concert. We will stay at this hotel again when we are traveling to the East Coast. It is that good.
Second time we have used this Best Western hotel at Bentleyville, PA. Both times have been pleasant stays, with clean rooms, courteous staff, and quality breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Pittsburgh area or just traveling through.
We stayed in Room 128 for the cost of 94.96, to include tax. We chose this location before getting onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike as finding lodging on the turnpike can be a challenge sometimes. The woman at the front desk checked us in faster than I had ever checked-in anywhere. If you see the number of reviews that I have posted, you can see that I get to a lot of hotels. The fast check-in is quite a feat. Upon arrival, we could see that this Best Western is a newer property and not a convert from a previous hotel chain. Parking was a bit of a challenge since we arrived later in the evening. The room was clean and well-maintained. The shower has great water pressure and had a light for more illuminated cleansing. The property had a nice swimming pool – though we did not have time to use it. I did use the exercise room that had a couple of specific weight machines, but not enough to do any serious weight training. The breakfast area was spacious and the food was well-stocked. Overall, the stay was good and we would certainly stay here again.
I stayed one night at this property and was satisfied. It is a good example of a better highway hotel, with large, clean, plain room, good king bed and a sofa also. Everything worked and was in good condition; I believe it is only a couple years old. Breakfast was what you expect: the usual waffle maker, basic breads, powdered eggs, etc. Edible, but definitely unexciting. I would stay there again for a night or two and was not in any way disappointed. I would suggest the hotel provide shampoo in the room, and that a grab bar for getting into and out of the shower would be a smart addition.
For not being a PLUS level property, this hotel was a very nice place to spend a night on the road. Used TA reviews and was not disappointed. Lobby is clean and well furnished. Staff were professional and quick checking us in. Room was clean, with a jacuzzi and very nice shower. Although there was a wedding party staying here, I heard nothing. However, early in he morning (5 ish), the shower was used in the room above me. It sounded like it was next to my bed. There is a very nice restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. We got 10% off by showing our room card. Diner food but good quality. Currently, there is lots of construction at the Bentleyville exit so follow the signs closely to get to the property. I would definitely stay here again.
loved the fact that our yorkie Savanna was welcome, The pool was nice .area was clean It was great to see my family have such a great time laughing and having fun! The staff was professional and friendly. The rooms were clean . We will definitely stay there a 3rd time if we return to the area.
Very clean and comfortable. Not a meat option at breakfast other than gravy but nice buffet and eating area. Very nice shower/tub with good temperature control. Beds were comfortable and the extra roll-away we needed was delivered promptly with no extra charge.
Wonderful hotel. Check in and check out were nice and easy. Great service and clean rooms! There was a nice variety for breakfast, and it looked like they were painting some of the rooms so only getting better! Would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in the area.
Stay here yearly to visit family and never disappointed. Good breakfast at the hotel and a good restaurant nearby, Kings, along with gas and grocery store. Very convenient. Also as a guest you receive 10% off when you show your room key at Kings.
Great Place... would stay again. Rooms were clean and tidy. Lots of room. We stayed one night but if need be would stay longer. If we are in the area, we would stay here for sure. Breakfast was excellent and plenty to choose from.
A good hotel but a long way from the international airport without any public transport. Comfortable rooms. You cannot change or cancel an advanced booking so check the location carefully. Average breakfast.
This Best Western is much nicer than any other BW we've stayed at. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. This was our second stay here as we have family in the area. There is a nice hotel next door but we prefer BW. We have found several nice places to eat within the area. Everything in this hotel is spotless. The indoor pool is beautiful, but you are able to use the outdoor one next door also. Complimentary breakfast is very good. The price is reasonable for sure.
First time staying at this hotel, very well satisfied!! The location was good, right off the interstate!! The staff was very pleasant & went out of their way to make our stay nice!! We will go back again!!
We were impressed by the spotless facility, spacious room, and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was the perfect start to our day. Saw many traveling families and indoor pool was being utilized. We definitely would stay there again!
I have stayed at this Best Western many times over the years and it is consistently excellent. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The grounds are very well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is also a very pet friendly property. The price is especially impressive and reflects an extremely good value. Highly recommended.
The room was dirty (bugs crawling everywhere. The shower took forever to heat up, the bathroom was dirty you...the TV didn't work and some of the lights didn't work. I reported to the front desk and she said there was nothing she can do! She said the manager would reach out to me and I'm still waiting for a call!
bed great for a great night slep very comfortable breakfast big choice clean area for sitting good stay woke up refreshed and ready for the rest of day good places to eat at the place next and close to best western too much road work all tore up exits great lady at check in very helpful
I recently signed up with BW, I have enjoyed my stay here everytime, the staff is very helpful, and professional the breakfest is also very nice, I would recomend to anyone it has truck parking which is nice for my husband, they care about your comfort, i did have to make a complaint one time becuse of noisey rooms on both sides, they quickly moved me to another room.
When I'm in this area on Business, this is now my Hotel of choice. From the great staff/reception to the comfortable bed, clean bathroom/tub/sink. Good Wifi and TV service. Hot eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, drinks, cereal... a very nice breakfast. Clean pool. For all of this I expected my first time there to pay quite a bit more than what I did. I've stayed at "elite" high priced hotels on my business and did not receive this level of service and comfort. If you plan on a trip through or around Bentleyville, I suggest staying at Best Western... it really is a great place to stay for business or with the family. I've been traveling for well over 20 years in business and I've seen far worse places, but not many as good as this Hotel is.
Spent one night there when traveling across PA. The decor was appealing, the room exceptional clean including the bathroom. We were traveling with our dog and although we were in a pet friendly room there was no indication that other animals had stayed in the room before. We were a late arrival and greeted by name by Andi who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Breakfast is the typical hotel offering. Will definitely stay here again.
We always stay at Garden Inn in Bentleyville if we are in the SW PA area. Half way between home & my parents house. Pet friendly with microwave & fridge so I can heat something up in the room. Right off the interstate but still very quiet. Friendly and accomodating staff.
Good food., nice place except 2 things. First of all the bathroom was rather small. you sat on the toilet and you knees were even with the door! If u were over weight your tummy would probably be in the way. Secondly, the vacuuming of the room was not complete there was dust close to the walls!
Great hotel. Excellent service. Nice breakfast...waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, OJ...not too mention the things i didnt eat...cereal, yogurt, fruit, danish, pancakes, oatmeal...I'm sure im forgetting something. Laura at the front desk was great! She even recognized me at the store across the street the next day and informed me that i had left a book in the room. Will stay here every time I am in the area.
Great Experience! This was our second stay, and we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest, both times! The breakfast is delicious, and the venue is clean! The beds, and sleeping accommodations are a dream come true!! My husband and I will definitely stay here, again!
Stopped there for overnight stay, Nov 12th, Front desk lady super nice! Arrived late afternoon, All staff there super nice, room was clean and nice, was on the 3rd floor nice and quiet, bathroom spotless. Breakfast was excellent, All the staff was great! If passing up this way again will stay there for sure!
One of the best in that valley. There is no here else in this valley i would stay,Very Very Very clean and the evening staff and night audit are the best. The breakfast was great and the beds are very comfy. The area is very safe and quiet, shopping near a very good and safe place for a family stay.
The desk clerk at check in was super. The clerks at check out could care less. One smile might have made it a higher rating. A better place to eat would also help. Not that the place was bad, it is just that the choices are very limited.
Very clean, friendly staff. The beds are comfy. Pretty quiet. Breakfast was pretty good, biscuits were a little hard but still good. The only thing I was disappointed about was the vending area down stairs, no great options and no frozen entrées as stated on website.
I will definitely stay here again if I come through the area. The hotel and room were very clean and nice. It was off the main road so it's not noisy. There is plenty of parking. I also enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning. That however could be a little better. The scrambled eggs were a little gooey and the bagel was kind of hard. But, overall.. I enjoyed this location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I believe it's an older hotel, but it's had extremely good care. No complaints at all. We had a king suite, which was roomy, clean, & comfy. We left before breakfast, but the food smelled good cooking! They have a large dining area compared to most hotels of this size. The staff is very friendly & helpful. At this time they accept the CLC card & have parking for larger trucks (18-wheelers). King's Restaurant, McDonald's & Subway/Cinnabon (across the road at Pilot) are within walking distance. King's offers a variety of choices & the food is very good. Meals are about $10.
I've stayed at many hotels in my line of work. This hotel offered me more for less than even the expensive chains offer. I've paid more for less at other places. The FREE breakfast had hotcakes, other hot foods, plenty of choices in drinks. The area was clean and a staff member was present. The room was very spacious, the beds and linens clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels and complimentary items, it was very clean and well lit. The tv was of normal size, the only thing I didn't like and I don't even see this at other hotels is a tv guide. They tell you what the channels are, but not what's on. Overall, this hotel was very, very nice, clean and comfortable. I will definitely be staying there every time I go to that area.
We had reserved a King room on a trip to the East Coast from Ohio because it was listed on a pet friendly website. Hotel website also indicated pet friendly. Upon arrival we noted our room had 2 queens; when we inquired, front desk informed us they saw on our reservation that we were traveling with our 2 dogs so they took it upon themselves to "switch" us to a queen double because those are the only rooms that are "pet friendly" in the hotel. We had not been informed of the change upon reservation or arrival. The next morning, a housekeeper unlocked and walked into the room without knocking, and I had just stepped out of the shower, so I was very embarrassed. Then after we got breakfast, another housekeeping guy knocked and wanted to come in saying he was told we had checked out. It was around 9:30 and checkout was 11:00. The hallway smelled like gasoline in the morning too. When I went to check out no one was at the desk, and finally someone came out, acted annoyed, and asked "didn't they leave a copy of your bill under your door?" I said "no, they didn't." So she gave me a copy. Also, they added $20 pet fee on the bill that we were not informed about in advance. Since we didn't get the King size room, I wish they would have waived the pet fee. If I'd known we were being charged the fee in advance, I would have requested that. We won't stay there again.
We stayed 2 nights at this Best Western. This was a clean hotel with friendly staff. Basic rooms, nothing fancy but our room was a nice size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small but the water pressure in the shower was great.
Traveling East across the country I had been staying at Motel 8's. I wanted to treat myself on my last night before getting home. So glad I found this joint. It was extremely reasonbly priced, especially for the quality. The entire hotel and room was aesthetically pleasing and spotless. Haven't had the breakfast yet, but saw the area. It looks like it's going to be extensive, ie. eggs, waffle maker etc.
The Best Western Inn at Bentleyville, PA is an excellent place to stay when you are in in that area of the state. The Inn is spotless in appearance and has all the amenities that one could need. There is a fitness room and lovely pool. The breakfast room with its tasty breakfast treats was excellent. We had the scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits but there were many more choices. Our room was very comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep.
I was very surprised that BW accepts pets. I was impressed that this hotel was very nice and large. The staff was very helpful in getting us enrolled in the BW rewards. The room was very clean and updated with decor. Breakfast ok but wasn't a fan of the waffles but love the yogurt offered.
Excellent accommodation. We spent the day at nearby Kennywood. Spent the night there so the kids could swim and wind down. Staff was friendly and eager to assist. We were treated to lemonade and ice tea and popcorn on our arrival. Breakfast was fantastic for hotel fare. All in all a great experience.
This hotel was a delight! Front desk staff was great the room was clean and breakfast was very good. It was also well priced. We would definitely stay again if we came to the area. If I had to make any suggestions I would say having someone help with breakfast instead of the front desk person on a busy day would help things run smoother. However the person who was doing both jobs did wonderful.
...rather than normal hotel decor trying to make an impact. Very quiet, including A/C. Rooms are spacious with all usual amenities. Check in was quick, on the spot ready, sweet but more "agreements" to initial than usual. Management seems very attuned to assure all is going well. WiFi is strong enough but required signing in once again from time to time. Breakfast good, clean lovely dining room with all the normal treats but no meat (sausage, or bacon, or) but walnuts are a more healthy substitute. If your objective is good, uncomplicated sleep in a pleasant place, this is for you!
This Best Western is outstanding. The front desk staff are always helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very clean and well appointed. The grounds are attractive and well kept. I have a small dog and find the hotel to be very pet friendly. The hotel is located right off of I-70 and so is very easy to access. A Kings Family restaurant is a short distance away and provides good food at a fair price. Highly recommended.
Clean. I like the easy access right off the highway. Nice big tv. Bed was firm. good water pressure. Good customer service. Outdoor pool. It was nice to have 2 doors, one went outside and the other into the hallway.
Everyone very helpful and Kind from the front Desk to the porter to the housekeepers to the overall experience. What else can I say we had a good stay always do from Penn to San Diego Calif.meeting place t o pick up our 12 year old Grand daughter.
Enjoyed a brief stay at this hotel. Pool was warm & inviting. Breakfast food choices were great. Popcorn & lemonade available after lunch. Comfy beds, quiet hotel. Limited food choices in surrounding restaurants, but did find a decent place for dinner.
lovely facility, with great staff beautiful room and perfectly located close to a the casino without paying an arm and a leg.. Breakfast was free, with eggs, sausage gravy, pastrys, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal waffles, fresh fruit, coffee and tea. one could also get lemonade, iced tea and popcorn all day. very nice place to relax.
Recently had the pleasure of staying at the Garden Inn. Wanted some place close to Pittsburgh and yet close to Falling Water and Kentuck Knob. Facility was very clean and well cared for. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Loved the indoor heated pool and internet. Also was so very quiet even with the road near by. A pleasurable place to stay.
best western garden inn,,was not planning to stay in area but choose this hotel for some fun and relaxation,,,glad i did very nice would stay again lot off fun on weekend,,BW clean anand comfortable staff was wlonderfull,,,no problems at all
This was a very nice, comfortable, and roomy room. The only thing I would note is that the plumbing was noisy. Whenever the neighbors flushed or ran their bath, it was annoying. Also, the bathroom was not cleaned very well by housekeeping.
It was a lovely hotel. We were just passing through so we didn't have much choice in hotels. Everything looked new and fresh. A little pricey for the area I would assume. I wasn't sure what else was really in the area. Staff was nice.
We have stayed at this hotel before. The last time it was in the midst of a remodel. The main areas of the hotel were nicely redone and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The room had a very high ceiling which gave the room a larger feel. The beds were comfortable and I slept well, no noise from outside the room bothered me. We had some slight trouble with the tv but the front desk fixed it quickly for us (someone had changed the settings on the cable box). Breakfast was well stocked and we had a nice stay.
No smoking rooms, smelled awful like someone had been smoking in it. The hallway doesn't smell at all. We were told all smoking rooms were on top floor, we were 1st floor, room 121 by front office. Told woman at desk on way out why we were leaving early, she said she'd make note of it and went back to what she was doing. We have had many stays where non-smoking rooms do not stink, this was honestly awful.
We booked this room about 15 minutes before arriving. Hotel was clean, our room was clean, person checking us in was courteous, and room rate for seniors was fair. Quiet atmosphere, felt safe. Enjoyed our stay. Not that crazy about the Breakfast of eggs, sausage, normal rolls and Danish, but it the norm for most Best westerns..
The hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. The road to the hotel and the surrounding construction almost deterred us from staying, but we had a good night in a clean room. Glad we decided to stay.
$107/night charge for what I would expect from a $50/night hotel... Clean, but uncomfortable. Breakfast edible, but not tasty, and presented sloppily. A few renovations (new carpet and a few wall decorations) in the room would go a LONG way in making the room inviting and comfortable!
We had a nice overnight stay. Everything was clean. The room was more spacious, probably due to the high ceilings The staff service was commendable. The free morning breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable, making for a restful night sleep. There was no loud outside noises that distracted one from sleeping well.
If you want to stay at a nice clean hotel with friendly help that is right of the interstate this is the place. As soon as you walk in the entrance is clean and inviting, a pleasant greeting, a clean room, a good breakfast, fast check out what more could you want. Oh yea good internet service also.
Very nice Best Western! Rooms were very clean, employees were so helpful. Hotel was clean and pretty. Room was stocked with microwave, fridge, and a wall safe, and very nice bathroom. Indoor pool was clean and very pretty. Breakfast was hot and nice variety. Was very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel was very, very clean! The pool area was lovely, the breakfast was adequate, decor was interesting, and also very clean. It was bright and cheerful oasis in a construction zone! The work being done all the way around it makes it look like an area that you wouldn't want to stay in, but It was actually quite nice. There were just weird little things that seemed out of place....the poor annual plants in the pots outside hadn't been watered in at least 3 days (I know plants....even the spikes in the center were laying down dehydrated and that takes a long time). The woman manning the front desk was very keen to let us know every minute detail about everything......VERY enthusiastic about her job and employers. I was beginning to doubt that we were worthy. The bathroom door hit the toilet when you opened it! Weird, but a different shape of bowl would fix that properly. Like I said, the stay was really nice, there were just little things that were odd. Every other detail seemed to be well done and the management seems to be trying very hard to provide a great experience. For what we needed, this was a great hotel. When you're tired, hungry, and looking forward to another long ride the next day all you want is a clean, comfortable room.
This hotel is quite new and very easy to see and get to from I-70. We had a very large and exceptionally comfortable room 214. The air conditioning unit was easy to operate and probably the most quiet we have ever experienced in a hotel or motel. Go to the restaurant across the driveway, Kings; it is excellent family, home-style and generous for the price.
The exit feels like it's going to be a middle-of-nowhere low-rent place, but this hotel is very nice and clean, the breakfast is good, and the staff is very professional. As of the date of our stay in June 2016, there is a 24-hour Subway restaurant across the street, and a family restaurant right in front of the hotel. A good location and a good hotel.
This hotel is tucked into a small town. It was quiet, clean...a great place to relax and rest prior to the drive the next day. I wish I had brought my bathing suit. The pool was clean and looked so refreshing!
A very clean, beautiful, friendly hotel in a small town. We ate at Kings (as suggested by the hotel)...just a very short walk from the hotel...as a guest at the hotel...you get a 10% discount...AWESOME! The food was GREAT! I was sorry I did not bring my swimsuit...the pool looked refreshing.
we always stay here when we come to town. it is always clean and the staff is always pleasant. the only thing i would change is the breakfast sauage was old and not able to eat it. But over all the hotel is a very nice place to stay.
I was traveling with my dog--and even the pet room was clean and comfortable. So nice to get off the highway after a long day of traveling to find this place. Desk folks were on-the-ball, courteous and professional.
This hotel is excellent. I often travel with my dog which they allow. The room was clean, neat and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is right off the interstate which make it very accessible.
Not sure you can stay at a BETTER place for the price. Beds, Pillows, TV, shower / water pressure, Parking my trailer, and Breakfast made my stay affordable and relaxing with no issues. Oh and the staff was very welcoming.
This hotel is by far, one of the nicest, clean chain properties. I highly recommend Bentleyville, Pa Best Western to anyone traveling in the area. Clean rooms, pool, breakfast area and the staff are awesome.
We stayed here for a few days while our truck was being worked on, and we had a very pleasant stay. The lobby is a great area to relax in, as it was warmly inviting. Laura both checked us in and checked us out and she was efficient, friendly and very nice. We have a small dog and this B.W. charged only one $20 pet fee for our entire 3-night stay, instead of the $20 per night some other places charge. We appreciated that. The room was well-equipped, especially for a budget chain, and the sound-proofing seemed to be better in this property than the many other hotels/motels where we've stayed. Breakfast was a variety of hot and cold items, and they kept the coffee on in the lobby throughout the day and evening. Their WIFI was pretty solid and strong, also. I told my DH that I wish we could shrink this B.W. so that it would fit into my purse, and then I would have it anytime we needed it. Highly recommend.
The staff was very friendly and professional. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Rooms were exceptionally clean. The king size bed was perfect. It was very comfortable. The single bed, not so much. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Staff were very helpful with advice for dinner. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Although there is a lot of construction going on near the hotel our nights were restful. Would come here again if in this area.
I have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. Always wonderful staff, and great care. The breakfast is fantastic. If its available I will always stay at this hotel when visiting my family in Pa.
My family was in town for a funeral and this place was perfect! It's easy to access of the highway with plenty of parking. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast bar was delicious and plentiful. The front desk clerk Andi was stellar! She was kind, professional, helpful and so friendly. This was the first time we had stayed at a Best Western and we were impressed. We stayed two days and will stay again if in the Mon Valley area. Also, the prices were reasonable too!
I have stayed at two different locations with my 84 year old mother. The staff in both cases went above and beyond to make mobility for her easy. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Staff is so friendly and helpful. The rate is reasonable. Terrific breakfast. It would take a lot for me to stay at another chain now.
While traveling to NY we chose to find hotels along the route that were easy to access and affordable. My husband just needs and bed and shower and I prefer nicer accommodations. As a compromise we found this hotel right off the interstate and when we walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the lobby's overall appearance and ambiance. Not much to do around town but a great place to stay the night traveling.
I thought this Best Western was pretty good for the price on a Thursday. Liked that it was a true hotel with entries on the inside and even the rooms looked like they had just be redone recently. Breakfast was pretty good, greek yogurt. Only complaint would be that I prefer sausage for breakfast instead of ham but at that point it's being pretty picky. Wifi was great. The entrance is a little further down the road and after the gas station, and it kind of through me off but it's next to a large sign and should be easy to follow. I just happened to be pretty tired from the drive. I would definitely recommend.
My wife and I stay at the Bentleyville, PA Best Western whenever we are traveling in that direction. The hotel is very pet friendly and the rooms are clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The best part of the stay is the superb staff who go out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us out. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Bentleyville, PA is NOT the most "happening" place to say the most. However......., it is less than an hour from Pittsburgh and if you want a great stay at a great price, then you absolutely cannot beat the value of the Best Western.
This was a very clean hotel with an awesome shower (hot water) and awesome water pressure! Wonderful breakfast and snacks at night! We will for sure stay at this hotel again if ever in the area...the price was just awesome for what you get!
needed a place to breakup long drive. room was very comfortable and quiet. only drawback was the breakfast was a little lacking in terms of hot items. diner right next door was a convenient alternative for both dinner and breakfast.
nice rooms for the price, easy check a had a problem when check out. the price quoted was not what I was charged. still not corrected. Will check my credit card to see if they adjusted to correct price.other then that was quite happy
We wish we had more than 14 hours to spend at this fine hotel! We find Best Western facilities to be our best choice, but the Best Western Garden Inn was exceptional. (At the superb hot breakfast, there were even "to go" bags for those who were short on time.) If we have reason to be back in this area of western PA, we will definitely stay there again.
Lovely new property just off the I-70. Beautiful décor, comfortable and clean rooms, excellent amenities (pool, fitness room, lounge space) that I just didn't have the time to take advantage of. Would definitely stay here again for business or pleasure and highly recommend to others.
This hotel was lovely, inside and out. It was a perfect stay for our last night on a cross country trip! The hotel had a clean and modern fitness center. The hotel also provided a good breakfast. The guest rooms, as well as the entire hotel, were very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were large and very clean. It was great that they also accept pets.
We enjoyed our stay. Swimming pool water was clean and comfortable. Warm breakfast was tasty. Good check-in and check-out service. Room and bed were comfortable. Pleasant help. We will stay here again next trip.
We have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and have set up for family to stay. The hotel staff there are excellent. We have no complaints. The room are spacious and very clean. The beds are amazingly comfortable ! The staff go out of their way to help you. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who might be in the area. They have a breakfast bar that is just as amazing as any restaurant and the pool is wonderful. Just an FYI we do have hotels closer but in my opinion this specific one is 100 times better in so many ways. If your looking for a clean, affordable very nice place to stay this is it. I give them 5 *****. Awesome experience and can't wait to visit again ! When your there look up Jessica Brovey she is truly amazing. Excellent at her job and will bend over backwards to assist you in any way she can. Thank you Bentlyville Best Western.
I recommend this motel to anyone going to the area. Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Great selection for breakfast, hot and cold items. Easy access to I-70 and restaurants are close by. I slept like a baby on the very comfy bed.
Holiday Inn Express next door, allows use of their outdoor pool for Best Western guests. 2 inches of snow today, the Best Western indoor heated pool is a better choice this time of year. Easy access to the interstate freeway.
Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was good fully stocked . My children loved the popcorn at check in . Pool area was clean. Overall it was comfortable and quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. Special thanks to Andi she was very helpful & sweet!
staying at the BW in Bentleyville was very comfortable and the staff couldn't be nicer. We will consider staying at this property on our next visit to that area. Kings restaurant is nearby. They have an excellent breakfast. Stay on rt 70 and get a treat shopping at Gabes!
In town for a month or so on business, company put us here, not bad , Rooms big and clean, facility clean, staff very friendly, and helpful. Close to places to eat.....good place to stay ....would deffently stay hete again .....
Traveling across country with dog, and the Best Westerns that accept dogs have been the best hotels I've stayed in. Friendly, clean, comfortable, attractive, affordable, and accommodating. Chose them based on recommendations from Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer). Sadly, not every Best Western accepts dogs. If they did it would be my only choice in every city. One minor (temporary) complaint about this location (Bentleyville) is the whole area seems to going under major infrastructure repair, so getting to hotel and driving around is a little confusing with all the detours and road closures.
We have been staying here for many years and will continue to do so as this Best Western has all the amenities that we need. The breakfast buffet is very tasty and that comfort of the bed is unbeatable.
We needed a dog friendly stopover on our way to Cincinnati. We've been using Best Western before and never had any issues. We were late for the check in. Hotel location is good, close to the I-70 highway. However, when we arrived we saw not even quarter of a mile from the hotel location, a huge burning flame with a roaring sound, which really stood out as it was lighting up almost the whole neighborhood. Since we were so tired we didn't pay much attention and decided to get our room. The front desk girl was very friendly and accommodating. Since we had our pooch with us she gave us a nice room, close to an exit at the first floor. What started OK quickly took a turn when our dog completely refused to touch the water we poured into his bowl (water we got from the faucet.) We didn't observe this first, but when my wife started to brush her teeth she got an absolute awful taste and immediately stopped using the water. Only then we realized that our dog simply didn't touch his water, even though we knew very well that he's thirsty. My wife immediately decided to go front and talk to the receptionist. When asked about the water and the flame overall, she replied "Oh, it's a new fracking mine location, here in our close neighborhood and they are burning the excess chemicals in the air." Needless to say we went nuts when we heard this. If any of you want to learn more about fracking and the health hazard it poses, just look it up. We immediately decided to cancel our stay and take off. With utmost sincerity I encourage all to avoid ALL hotels in Bentleyville, PA area as there are several fracking sites around. This hotel should be simply taken off the map and the list of offerings. Again, book at your own risk. If you do, pay attention to the water quality, taste and if you have a pet with you, TRUST THEM (their keen senses at least!)
I needed a dog friendly stopover on our way to Cincinnati. This place fit the bill. It was close to the intestate, was very clean and quiet and had a restaurant that we could walk to. They had popcorn and ice tea and lemonade in the breakfast area when we checked in which was a nice touch. We had a good breakfast to start us on our journey in the am. There is an indoor pool and gym but we didn't use either.
The friendly helpful staff was a plus for us which countered the problems which we had with the heating and telephone. The hotel is in great need of an update. We were very satisfied with the value which includes the room, and dinners. Breakfast was very good and again we had very helpful staff there to meet any requests.
Very pleasant check-in at this dog-friendly hotel. Room was spacious and clean with a decent view. Did not hear any traffic noise even tho freeway is somewhat close. Had two nice meals at the nearby restaurant. Did not partake of hotel breakfast just because of my own personal dietary restrictions but it smelled good! Felt safe and comfortable.
Excellent hotel, clean, quiet, good breakfast, excellent service, check in and check out was easy. breakfast feature I had not seen before was an automatic pancake maker. Put your plate on the right side, press a button, and out pops a pancake. cannot comment on the quality as we did not eat any. Only negative; the room was too sterile, (no artwork or pictures on the walls)
What a great hotel. The breakfast was fantastic I slept well and an all-around great hotel. Andi who works at the desk late at night is exceptional. I need to have some paperwork copied and the copier wasn't working she got the hotel next-door to do it for me. What an amazing woman and she went way out of her way to accommodate me. I think this is excellent service and I would highly recommend this hotel
This was a great hotel, quiet and comfortable. It is just off the freeway and easy access to the hotel and fuel. The receptionist directed us to a nearby eatery where we enjoyed a nice meal. The breakfast area was large and the layout and food were excellent
I am a truck driver by trade and usually am out one night a week but this is not an area I usually deliver in that I can't get done in a days time.I was with an other driver on this load and this is where he spends the night most weeks and said it was a really nice hotel and it was. Every thing was top notch and if I have a chance I will use Best Western again.Being a truck driver I am limited to hotel/motels with truck parking and there aren't a lot to choose from some times depending on where you have to end your day
A very nice place to stay quiet, clean, breakfast. all room have what you expect. such as microwave, frig,When you check in you get a cold drink tea or lemon. You can walk to places to eat. Kings restaurant . Pilot across the street, subway. Its located only haft mile from interstate 70.
I have stayed here while traveling through Pennsylvania for nine years. This hotel has never disappointed me. It's as nice now as it was the first time I stayed. I will stay here again! Marci, at the front desk, is an asset to this place! She was so nice when I was checking in (at almost 2am). She had the room key on the counter waiting for me. The rooms are nice and spacious and clean. They put the remote for the tv in a nice bag that reads, "fresh remote"! That is for some of us germ o phobs! I love it! Bathrooms are always nice and clean. They offered soup and popcorn, along with tea and lemonade for the guests. Such a nice, homey place.
Clean rooms and Comfortable beds. Not only breakfast but popcorn and lemonade at 1PM and hot soup at 5PM. Nice indoor pool. Staff was very nice and helpful. The access to the hotel was somewhat confusing due to road construction. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.
The Hotel is very nice , there is a little construction in the area but it was no big deal . It is very clean and the staff is wonderful. We only spent the one night there but enjoyed our sstay. The breakfast was tasty and hot.
Checked on Trip Advisor for hotels to stay in this area on a trip to Ohio. Found the Best Western to be an excellent place to stop. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room and bathroom were both clean and well laid out. Nice breakfast in the morning. Would recommend this hotel as a great place to stop when traveling in the area.
