Best Western Plus Hotel Belfort Centre Gare

The rooms are so small with small washroom as it looks like you are in a jail room. Only the plus point is the location just in front of train station.Breakfast has minimum options no choice for vegetarian people. Should be 2-3 star hotel only.

This was a one night stop over in what turned out to be a charming place. Although this hotel is a little tired, the staff could not have been more helpful and recommended a great place to eat in the evening - Bistrot de Moines (see my review). The breakfast was good and there was free parking.

hotel not as advertised. only the reception seems renovated, certainly not hallways and not our room.. hotel management won't activate aircondition to save money, carpets old and filthy in the whole building, stayed in "executive" room, recommend choose other establishment

It was a great location right across the street from the train station with private parking. We enjoyed the smallness of the area. Breakfast was phenomenal but a bit pricy. The only issue we had was no hot water for a shower. It was warm at most and freezing mostly

Only stayed the one night, but all was very good. The check in service was good and when I stayed they had some free drinks in the bar and some food, which was very nice. The room was big if not with an odd layout. Would certainly stay there again

I stayed one night at the Belfort Best Western. The location is easy to get to from the train station, and a short walk to the center of town. Staff were all incredibly friendly. The room was clean everywhere you would touch, but a look under the sheets wasn't spotless. My room was comfortable enough and parking is limited, but available behind the building. Overall, just average.

The hotel is centrally located near the railway station. The reception area is small with an adjoining breakfast area. Staff is pleasant and efficient. Although the hotel is in an old building, the room was very nice, and the bed was very good. Choice of restaurants in the area is limited on a Sunday evening which gave rise to a nice walkabout. Hotel parking is free, but not a lot of spaces. Car park entrance is to the left just before the hotel in the one-way street. If you stop in front of the hotel entrance, then you need to circle a couple of blocks and try again.

Easy to find and great for a night. Takes you about 15 min to walk to the center of the old town. Very stylish reception makes a good first impression. Very nice staff in the reception. Their own parking was full, but they got us a space just next door. The rooms are nice, even though they're quite small. The bed was very comfortable and the AC functioned very well. Coffe/tea facilities and well functioning WIFI. A small problem that the drainage in the bathroom needed cleaning - the water did not exit the shower well.

Spotlessly clean, air conditioned, lift, free parking, great breakfast, great location with two good restaurants in walking distance and an absolute bargain. That first paragraph was 157 characters but I have to complete 200 for a review!

Very handy for the train station and the center of town but not center of town prices. Nice clean refurbished hotel pleasant and knowable staff. Stayed Herron a stopover on route to Switzerland whilst touring in motorcycles. They have undercover parking which is a bug bonus.

Nice hotel and breakfast. Jacob the receptionist done some nice early evening twists for eg.wine tasting/ cheese treats, small finger foods...all for free twice during the week. Take a room right on the top floor , can be if on lower floor some guests heavy footed above. Rooms to the back are pretty quite , car parking is good. The town its self is interesting , has a great fortress and the Belfort lion carving. Lots of bars and restaurants. I was their March '17 so weather not great.

The hotel is located just opposite to the railway station and bus stop in this small town. Very pleasant stay in Best western hotel for 20 days. During my previous visit to Belfort i stayed in other hotels, I feel this is the best stay with Clean room and comfortable beds. Very friendly staff at reception who can speak good English. Special thanks to receptionist Jacobo & Elise. Reception service is extended till midnight. Wifi connection is good in the room. However no safe deposit box in the room and only available at reception. Adapters / umbrellas are available upon request.

This hotel is rightly located just next to the Railway station of this vibrant industrial city. The hotel is small but it fits to the need of a business traveler. The lobby is small but nice.. The amenities provided in room are good. The breakfast is OK and hall for dining is very small.

one night stay for business, room was nice and cozy, i liked the view from my window on a cold snowy night. location is good at the city canter, staff were helpful and friendly. parking is available but you can easily miss the entrance.

During a business trip to France I stayed a few nights in this hotel. The place is quite good and nice with nice and polite stuff. There is only one thing I would like to mention. There's no restaurant in the hotel. It's not an disadvantage but interesting. Worth to stay here. Nice restaurants around this area.

Very comfortable and clean room. Plenty of space. Opposite the railway station, but double glazing cut out the noise. We were up in the 4th floor, there is a lift. Nice to watch the coming and goings at the station. Good restaurants nearby. Pleasant staff.

Situated opposite main train station, small and clean hotel, friendly reception staff. 20 mins walk to Citadel and famous Lion de Bartholdi. Parking at the back. 30 mins drive to Ronchamp and Norte Dame du Haut. Downside - slightly overpriced breakfast - but it is optional.

The hotel shows some wear due to age, and that is just about all I could find on the negative side. Service is friendly and indeed this hotels is clearly of higher quality than other with similar prices. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Indeed,there was no space in the hotel parking and one of the hotel's employees told me to wait 5 minutes; she was leaving and I could take her place. Well done!

Spacious, clean, comfortable, well-appointed room. It had an annexe with desk, chair and lamp. All reception staff were very warm, friendly and most helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Also included was secure, under-cover parking.

The hotel is good choice if you want to be in a walking distance from the City Center. It is also located right in front of the main railway station. it is a very mall hotel, with pretty small rooms (the whole city is small anyway). room was a little bit smelly, The staff is very friendly (despite during my 3 days stay i only saw two girls and one man working :) In conclusion, the hotel is not fancy, however you shouldn't expect more in such a small town

I stayed in this hotel numerous times and it is excellent. Restaurants nearby are really good and it is just opposite the train station so it is easy to get anywhere. Also very good to do some jogging in the area as it is close to the lakes and hills.

Good hotel in the Belfort center. Bus stop, train station is just opposite to the hotel it takes 1 min to reach there only to cross the road. Near by good restaurants are available you can get the items of your choice.

The staff was not very good, not really friendly, no smiling. I don't know who trained them. The staff is always in the office in the back, out of sight. When you need somebody you have to stand there knocking and coughing for 5 minutes before someone comes out. On check-in we got a room appointed to us that wasn't cleaned yet! No problem, I got a new room. When I barged in a couple was still getting dressed in there!!!! They hadn't even checked out yet! What a shock! The third room was finally ok and empty. Breakfast was nice, good to have international newspapers too. The hotel looks nicely renovated, rooms look fresh, but are relatively small, even having paid for an already bigger room. I'm curious what the smaller room will be like. Bathroom is nice and clean, rooms are well isolated.

this is a great choice for a downtown Belfort business hotel or for a short stay in the town. perfectly located at the railway station, nicely lit in the evening. Rooms are not big, but quite okay for a shorter stay, so no issues. bathroom is nice and clean, nothing over fancy, but feels good to take a shower. If you are in Belfort and look for a decent hotel at a reasonable price (not the list price, but some deal/company price), this is the place for you.

This has been my favorite place to stay in Belfort. Stayed more than 48 days. In front of Belfort Gare station. Restaurants are on walking distance. Bus to Alstom and GE available every 10 mins in front of the hotel.

Motorbiking around France and Germany. Lucked out here on a Sunday night through booking.com for 57 euros. Clement the man behind the desk gets an A+ for all his help and info. Room was beautiful and quiet as was the lovely city of Belfort on a Sunday afternoon. Ate lunch at a fast food vegan place near the hotel. This was a perfect place to stroll around. I stayed for one night for business at this hotel. Central location next to train station and walking distance to all sights/activities in Belfort. Service at reception was friendly and helpful. Room was small and struggled to move around with my large suitcase and the need to work on laptop. The room was modernly furnished and everything looked fresh and new. Room was quiet and all standard amenities. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was top notch and as it was included in room price excellent value. Full spread of cold meats, eggs, bacon, sausage etc. plus cheeses, cereals, yogurt, fruit, breads, everything and anything you want for breakfast. Excellent little hotel.

My room was upgraded free of charge to the front of the hotel. Excellent room, quiet and with all the trimmings you'd expect. Very friendly lady at reception with a wealth of experience. The buffet breakfast was good value for money .

We visit Belfort frequently and usually stay at the Ibis. This time we chose the Best Western which proved to be a good decision. Its in a convenient, central location - opposite the Railway Station but nonetheless quiet due to good noise insulation. Free covered, private parking is provided and very useful in the absence of many alternatives in the area. Our room was small but more than adequate for a short stay. The staff are super-friendly and professional which greatly enhanced our stay. Best of all, the superb buffet breakfast, not cheap at €11 but fantastic value for money with a very wide, high quality selection. Definitely a hotel to recommend and one we look forward to re-visiting.

It may not be an Excellent as it does not have anything amazing or magnificent but for what you pay its an EXCELLENT choice. Quick check inn, very nice front desk ladies. There is a parking which is free inside the hotel premises. Rooms are very clean, BIG, comfortable and heating Works very well. Bathroom is big, bath is fantastic, amenities are very good too; no complaints whatsoever. Breakfast is really good and usually included in the Price. Free Wifi. It cannot get much better, and for 75€ its a very good option when in Belfort.

The service and assistance of the staff was great, especially as we had some urgent legal documents to get printed and sign. Breakfast was also very good. We were told we had been upgraded to an executive room but it was very small. You could only get in the bed from one side and it was really only suitable for one person.
