Best Western Hotel Executive Inn, Battle Creek

The motel is in the middle of remodeling and did not specify that, or offer any warnings about it. Windows were covered with plastic, the drywall was unstable around the windows, tons of linens sitting around in the main commons area where you get coffee, but the worst part was the plumbing was not in working order. During showers in the morning there was standing water because nothing would drain. It was reported, But no discount or service was offered or made. Bad service on that part!

Dirty bathroom floors bed very uncomfortable and door had a big enough gap Tht u could see right in the whole room. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It is the worse Best Western I've ever been in.

The hotel is in a good location to downtown, Battle Creek Airport and easy access to expressway. The breakfast was alright. Hot and area was clean, housekeeper greeted and kept area clean and disinfected. The furniture needed to be updated. Room was clean and updated. Towels needed updating. Front desk personnel was friendly and personable. We didn't incur any problems.

As a Best Western, this location is outstanding. Very clean, comfortable, with every standard amenity you'd expect including a solid breakfast and good staff. (The only shortcoming is undersized bath towels.) Maybe it's just me, but "Executive Inn" implies a business class hotel. A computer desk, small fitness room, and concessions refrigerator are a step up, but don't quite qualify for "executive," and that's the ONLY reason this review isn't a five.

Outdated beds, linens, towels, and breakfast area. Dirty office chair, ill-fitting privacy curtain, hair in bed, powdered eggs for breakfast, rust on shower head, torn upholstery in breakfast area, lumpy bed.

My family of four stayed here for three nights recently. Our son had a competition at the Kellogg's Arena. We were very pleasantly surprised. The location was very convenient. Breakfast was simple and repetitive, but good. The woman managing the breakfast area was sweet. All of the staff were very pleasant. We got to talking to what I believe was the general manager one afternoon and he was a very personable young man. My husband and I noticed how positively he interacted with his staff. He clearly does a nice job managing the hotel. Our room had vinyl flooring vs. carpet which I was very pleased with. It has to be easier to truly clean this type of surface vs. carpet. The pool area was very nice with great seating options. We were very happy with the cost of our stay too. We would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

This is really a 4.5 star review, it doesn't really deserve a 5, but it definitely does not deserve a 4 or lower. First, the bad. Yes, I saw two ants in my room, but this is April in Michigan and that is pretty much inevitable because they are coming out of winter dormancy. Second, I had a room in the back of the hotel and there was quite a bit of leftover winter trash on the ground back there. Okay, that's it for the bad. Now for the good. First of all, the room was very nice, very clean and had, for a hotel, a comfortable bed. I didn't have time to use the pool or the workout room, but both looked pretty impressive. They have a washer and dryer available at a reasonable price of $1.50 for the washer and $1.00 for the dryer. They do not gouge on their vending machines as a can of pop (soda for non-midwesterners) was only $1.00. I've paid up to $2.00 for a can at other hotels. The breakfast bar was one of the best I have ever seen at a hotel. I got a discount because I am a veteran, which not all hotels give. The location is really good, right off the I-94 freeway with several restaurants, gas stations and shopping locations nearby. It is also in a good neighborhood. I have stayed at three other hotels in Battle Creek and this was far and away the best! Last, I want to particularly note two of their employees. Dominique at the front desk was EXTREMELY helpful and went above and beyond for me on a few things. Second, Anna, the lady who runs the breakfast room is an absolute sweetheart! If you need somewhere to stay in Battle Creek, I think this is your best bet. The price was reasonable compared to prices I paid at a couple of hotels that were real dives!

There was dirt caked on the floor, flakes of black stuff all over the sheets, wall had chipped paint everywhere. Room hadn't been swept in who knows how long. The TV Remove was sticky with hair on it. This hotel was extremely dirty and should not have the Best Western name. Worst Best Western I'd ever stayed in.

It is located at a freeway exit. There are several shopping malls and restaurants within 1/2 mile. Culver's right next door. All this makes it a very convenient location. One of the 2 beds had a squeaky frame but the room otherwise was spotless and comfortable. The "hot" breakfast was uninteresting but the cereal and waffles were ok. The employees though understaffed are congenial and eager to please.

Stayed here with the family for a wrestling tournament. I am super disappointed after multiple complaints of ants to the front desk and they did try to take care of them but they always came back. I asked for a call from the manger and have not received a callback. I keep getting told he is not in and will call me.

My husband and I had to make a sudden trip to Michigan from Florida. We checked on line and Best Western seemed the best option. We had stayed there before and were satisfied. It was a perfect location. The owner is busy making updates and were we pleased with the friendly environment.

10 families here for a Middle School State Swim Meet. The staff was incredibly gracious allowing the parents to spend the evening socializing in the common lobby area. Tia at the front desk was amazing. She helped us with clean-up after and made sure our group billing was accurate. Thank you for a great stay!

Musty smell in the room, came from the shower curtain. (seems like not changed fora while.) Also saw hair in the tub. Also why is the pillow is small ?? the room looks clean except for that musty smell. Micro working small fridge working.

I stayed for one night while traveling. Close to interstate and several dining options. No elevator and pool was closed. Common areas seemed unkempt, lots of trash on the carpet, stairway was dirty. Room was alright, seemed cleaner than the common areas. Water pressure was lousy. Breakfast was adequate eggs, sausage, cereal, coffee, and juice. If I were staying in the area again, I would look elsewhere, especially if staying several nights.

When I got into my Jacuzzi room in room 217, it said that it was a king size bed and it was a full-size. Also it took four hours for my whirlpool tub to fill up because of the water pressure. Then once it was filled up there was a nasty green foam everywhere from the Jets not being cleaned in I don't know how long and I brought it up to the front desk lady who decided to say to me that she wouldn't tell her supervisor because she didn't want to “bug her”. Then to top it off after that, the manager said that she couldn't do anything about it because I didn't tell them right away. So because I had to wait four hours for the tub and I couldn't tell her about the green phone because I didn't see it it was my fault. I will never stay here ever again and I don't recommend anyone else either

Decent overnight stop. Nothing special. Culver's next door tho! Room clean, beds were okay. Breakfast great with eggs, sausage, etc. Front desk hotel staff helped us with printing some documents which was awesome. Cold in room a/c. Not bad.

One of the nicer hotels in the area. Staff was great and helpful. Rooms were clean. I would definitelyrecommend this hotel above others in the area in the lower price range. I will be stay there again.

We were required to sign a $150 vandalism form on check in. The room was clean; however, there was damage to the room when we arrived. I made sure to take pictures and to tell the front desk. They noted the damage we found upon arrival. Everyone was nice.

Stayed 4 night, room was clean. I did like the hardwood floors instead of carpet. There was some mol in the bathroom. It wasn't there when we checked in but there was by the time we left. My granddaughter was with me and she had dyed her hair the day before arriving. Some dye ended up on the towels and I was charged 100.00 for that, so beware. I wish now I had just stolen them, at least I would have a couple towels for my money. Those towels were not worth 100.00. Staff I came into contact with were nice enough and very professional. Lobby and rooms were nice (other than the mold). Would I stay here again, maybe. I would just be careful about the towels and the mold.

Very clean hotel. Newly remodeled it appears. The inside is much nicer than the exterior of the building first lets on. Breakfast was hot with continental breakfast options. One of the better hotels we stayed on during our vacation. I would recommend his hotel because of its proximity to the interstate and it's very nice rooms

This hotel needs some TLC. We booked two rooms, both 'King Bed Jacuzzi Suite'. Both rooms had very old FULL sized mattresses. There were some questionable electricity choices in the room. There was extension cord to jacuzzi.

Staff was very friendly. Beds were too hard. I did have one issue. After my stay my credit card was charged 40.00 when I called I was told it was for a stained hand towel. I did spill coffee and use the hand towel to clean it up off the floor. I didn't want to leave a mess for housekeeping. I don't think it is right to charge me for it but oh well. But 40.00 for one hand towel is ridiculous!! I called and they said I should have left the coffee or called the front desk for clean up? I was taught to clean up after myself not leave a mess for others. Email corporate and never received any response at all.

Stay in hotels all over the United States traveling doing live shows of all kinds I stay in many different kinds of hotels five star to two star this staff at Best Western I promise you no lie was the greatest staff that I've ever had at a hotel in all of my travels over the years all shifts were amazing but third shift went above and beyond and made sure that my fiance had a key when she came from work as I was visiting while I was sleeping they remembered her name without her saying anything they always remembered my name they were always helpful and got anything I needed and we're so courteous and nice there's so much more to be said but I'm not going to go on Best Western in Battle Creek Michigan was honestly the greatest hotel experience that I've had and I stay in hotels 52 plus days a year . Front desk clerk very efficient & polite. Parking lot near lobby entrance is shared with neighboring hotel and difficult to navigate. Room is spacious and clean. No carpeting. Refrigerator has freezer. Comfortable and quiet. Many food options and shopping nearby.

Checked in for a 4 njght stay with a very easy-going, friendly desk clerk. Rooms are all well cleaned and inside hallways. We had a king with a large screen TV, fridge, microwave. Bath towels were big and full. Bed was very comfy. Good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was excellent. All bread types (slices, muffins, bagels, donuts, pastries) were individually wrapped. Along with individually wrapped hard boiled eggs. Also had make your own waffles, eggs, sausage and hash browns daily. 4 different types of cereals and 3 types of juice. No housekeeping unless you request it, which we did not. We did request clean towels after day 2 and they were delivered in less than 5 minutes. We throughly enjoyed our stay here ad will definitely be back.

Super clean and super friendly people. Great hotel. We will stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Battle Creek. Very close to the Interstate and a lot of restaurants. All three shifts at the front desk were knowledgeable and friendly.

The rooms were clean. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was fresh and yummy (it is not their fault that it has to be pre-packaged). The hotel was quiet at night. The pictures of Battle Creek on the room walls were a nice touch.

Great location plently of food options. My experience was amazing super relaxing an friendly an professional staff. Pricey but worth the stay. Jacuzzi room was spacey an the bed was the most comfortable bed ive ever slept on. Wish the tub was bigger but i enjoyed every mintue of it.

We only had 2 pillows and they were flat but we were informed on arrival that this was due to covid-19 so that's why the rating is low cuz the pillows we had made sleeping terrible but everything else was as expected

We have to go to Battle Creek on a regular basis and we often spend the night at the Best Western Executive Inn. The Staff is always very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable. Even with Covid restrictions they go above and beyond.

Stayed so we could enjoy Christmas visits with family in MI. Desk staff was super friendly. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. Rate was great. We will definitely stay here again when visiting MI in the future!

Every time i travel for business or leisure i stay at best Western, even in town this hotel is hands down the best between price, amenities, staff, and luxury feel. Hands down will visit again soon and many times in the future

Then hotels is just minutes from 94 and has one added benefits- many entrances and exits. The room I had was on the first floor and had hard wood floor with no messy rugs. It was clean with little to problems except the lack of good sleeping pillows. For a quick night - it's was fine!

We were late checking in but the staff was excellent. The beds could have a better mattress because they were hard but the stay was pleasurable. We were checking out when we were offered the last of breakfast. Tasty.

We have stayed at this particular hotel several times and we are satisfied with it all around. It's clean and affordable. They usually have a nice breakfast but because of the COVID it was limited. Other than that everything was great. We will be back.

My husband and I booked two nights in the king jacuzzi room. The decor in the room looked updated and overall it was clean. The problem with the room is the bed was EXTREMELY hard and sagged a bit in the middle. It was also really, really squeaky. Every time we moved even slightly it made a ton of noise. The jacuzzi- not exaggerating - took 30 minutes to fill. We wound up checking out after one night and booking a room elsewhere. As I said, it was clean and updated. The staff were friendly.

After leaving Kalamazoo, went to Bradford, IL and then to Battle Creek as other hotels have weekend pricing. there were snacks (yogurt, juice, cold cereal and almond milk) so that we could take our meds and have a late snack (grandparents and grandchild), after a 14 hour day. It was nice to see those as most hotels lock or strip those items when the breakfast time is over, as happened here the next day upon our checkout-juice on the way home would have been a nice treat. They provided a full crib-set up and ready to go-apologized for time to get it ready, aged steel, but functional vs other hotels who give you a folded up play pen. After 14 hours on the road, just want to check in and crash, not build beds. We knew the pool was out of commission when we booked, just needed warm bed and hearty breakfast, which the person I talked to a couple of days before we got there, said no problem, and he was correct. Breakfast had egg patties, potato patties and sausage patties, four kinds of cold cereal, two types of milk, fresh fruit in a bowl in the fridge besides oranges, apples and bananas. Had individually wrapped pastries, waffles, toppings for breakfast items, etc. Some envelopes of add ons were hard to read as I could not discern any English on the package (dried onion and spinach in a hot cup of water was a nice touch). When in the area again would definitely stay hear again, only try to get there to use pool and exercise room -both accessed through the same door. If we had got there and the pool was operational, it would have been a five star review. Upon leaving to go to Port Huron, make a left and then a quick right and you are on the freeway-no need to go through lights or commercial area.

My 3 night stay at the Best Western was absolutely fantastic. They have remodeled and it looks very nice. The room and lobby were really nice. Everything was exceptional. I will definitely be planning a return trip to the Best Western

It was a good comfortable stay. the room was clean and updated. Only negative was the heat vent which clicked nonstop. Had to have the TV on and earplugs in all night. Front desk staff was very friendly.

My twin sister and I would come here every year when she gets her taxes back. I love their breakfast and it's right next to Culver's too. Best Western always has friendly employees too. I suggest Best Western.

The night clerk was very professional, kind, and compassionate; as was the morning clerk at check out. The room was awesome. The refrigerator was a little bigger than normal, which is great. Plus, there was a night stand on both sides of the bed, which is wonderful when there are two people who both have c-pap machines.

Overall It's a good place overall for whatever trip you are on, everything you need is exactly within walk-in distance or less than 5 minutes of drive really convenient. i hope this helps in your decision making.

Not bad. The pool is not heated, but warmer then others I have stayed at. The staff is very friendly. Some of the furniture in lobby needs repacked. It was fine for a one or two night stay. All in all not bad for the price.

Well situated, good parking, and secure. The hotel is a bit older, but rooms were adequate. The thermostat was out of service , but other than that it was a good stay.Full size pillows that were comfy!

Both attendants at the check-in/out desk were friendly & helpful. The pool temperature was just right. The attendant at the Continental Breakfast Buffet was fastidious about keeping the area spotless.

Was a very newly updated hotel loved the pool area except no hot tubs.Also hotel is really wierd parking lot shares with a run down hotel right next door witnessed drug deals and prostitution in parking lot

With driving across the US, stayed and a few budget hotels and this one was one of the better ones. Breakfast was standard, cereal, coffee, juice, muffins, etc. What was great was we checked up and then my husband wasn't feeling so great so we were lucky enough they let us have the room back to rest. Great service. Would I recommend staying here? Yes, clean and friendly staff.

Very clean rooms. The staff is by far some of the best people I've dealt with. Good selection for breakfast and Clint kept everything fresh and available. Definitely a good value at a reasonable rate. We stayed at the main junction of hallways but it still was very quiet. We will be back!

Friendly staff, good breakfast, And clean room made this a good choice. Best of all was the “fix-it”man who had our shower head replaced as soon as I mentioned it to the manager. Everything he did was with a smile. Motel was very quiet and in a good location. Beds and pillows are comfortable.

I was over very happy with my stay at this hotel. The hotel was updated and clean. The pool was very nice. We stayed in a king size room with hot tub. My husband is tall and the bed actually fit. Breakfast was ok but I'm not a big fan of breakfast. Only down side was the tv was out the first night due to weather. They need some rails or stickers in tubs. Slick and unsafe.

This was a great place to stay. Inside doors made me feel safe. The room was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The pool was perfect. The wifi worked great, we streamed a movie on our tablet. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Place was modern inside but it wasn't really the best work. You can see how the new paint just slap over old plastered walls. You can see how some old stuff was just covered up with sloppy paint job. Breakfast was okay. Got hot items and pastries. Staffs during breakfast hours were really hyper, the lobby staff was talking to the maintenance guy really loud yelling across the breakfast room having their conversation like it's a great party day and doesn't realize their happy loud laughing conversation isn't really what guests want early in the morning. It's okay to joke at work but to me loud and in front of guests across the room isn't the way to do it. You can stand next to each other and keep it to yourself.

Older property that has been remodeled but they need to either do some maintenance on air conditioning unit or replace them. My room blew musty air, smelled like damp basement air. Entire motel including rooms is hard flooring, no carpet anywhere so sound travels. And of course as usual with so many motels, in the early morning hours some inconsiderate patron or staff closed a door twice as if it were middle of the afternoon and they were late for the pool party. Do you wake up in the middle of the night and close doors like you do during the day or are you quiet and think about the rest of the house sleeping? This is a common problem at motels but due to this type of flooring, you are going to hear a lot more than in a carpeted property. As far as it being more sanitary, it's debatable. When you first walk into the room it's got a distinct chemical smell. I don't know if it's from off-gassing of the laminate flooring or some other source. Breakfast is teetering on edge of not good. Bed was comfortable and the decoration of the room is tasteful. Normally I'm not too picky but this motel is ranked just under much nicer properties for the same rate. Staff is friendly. Bottom line, the next night I ended up getting an airbnb much farther out of town for 1/3 the price all-in.

I don't ever remember staying anywhere where the staff was as friendly as the employees we encountered here. Every single person went out of their way to greet and talk with us. It didn't seem put on and that was wonderful. The rooms and lobby were immaculate and updated. Beds did creak when you move, but once you were asleep you didn't even notice!

I usually don't provide reviews but this time I felt I need to. If you really want a great hotel to stay during your time in Battle Creek I would definitely stay here. Ricky and his staff were exceptional during our stay. The entire staff took care of all of needs and beyond. They truly went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I will stay here again when I travel to Battle Creek, Thank YOU!

When we arrived at the BW for a one night stay, the staff were very friendly, courteous & helpful. The entry area was neat & clean. We located our room which was easily accessible. Upon entering our room, we were surprised to see the floor was a laminate. I really liked that since there would be no nasties in it. We were very please with the view on the first level. That evening, after removing our shoes, we noticed that the floor was sticky and our feet were dirty. The floor seemed to have not been washed! At breakfast the next morning, the selection was minimal, and they served some very strange items. (ie; rice and Asian items). Needless to say, we left hungry; but being that it was a holiday, maybe the staff was short handed. Our stay was ok, but could have been alot better.

Haven't stayed at a Best western in a long time. This place was great. Large rooms with fridge and freezer. Veeery comfortable bed. Easy on/off to the interstate. Breakfast was surprisingly good too. Would stay here again.

we have stayed at other hotels in the area and they were awful. So bad we almost did not visit family this year. We decided to try BW. So happy we did. beds had zipped cover on mattress. Beautiful white coverlet on top of the sheets. So clean. Housekeeping was very good .Breakfast was better than most. For me the CLEAN was great!. Pool area was clean. by the end of the week the pool may have needed shocked but it was only slightly cloudy. There were always clean towels. The staff and management must care. Great mattresses.

Had a great stay at this hotel! Staff was very firendly! Rooms were clean as was the hotel and the pool! Great location! Breakfast had quite a few options. Loved the added touch of cookies at night for the kids! Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good! The staff was pleasant and helpful-They printed out directions for us and recommended nearby restaurants. The rooms are a little on the small side, but the amenities and staff make up for it!

Very pleasant staff. Smaller than normal rooms, very tight maneuvering a luggage cart. Slow internet according to speedtest.net, only 6Mbps. Too much light from security lighting coming in from outdoors. Used the A/C as white noise to mask highway noise, which was no longer a problem after about 11:00 p.m. Shower head was almost out of reach because the tub/shower appeared to have been renovated recently. Only two sets of towels/wash cloths. No carpet, but bare floor throughout the room which we found unusual.

Our only daughter got married and many family members stayed in various hotels for the weekend ( Best Western was full but my husband & I already had a reservation there) Our families were highly disappointed with their hotels, we couldn't have been happier. Will only choose this hotel for our future stays.

Me and my family arrived took them for a day away to swim and just kick back well that wasn't the case at we were getting ready to go swimming and next thing I know the police were knocking at my door the police stated the manager had us on video running threw the halls messing with people and when I ask to see video he showed me and it was none of us it was kids that didn't look like any of us and even the police said the same thing and I ask for my money back and didn't receive anything don't ever stay there oh yeah I looked on there web site soon as I left that dump and they already had the room I was staying in rented out hmmmm what a joke ! Don't give them the time or day they will steal your money and leave your family going no where especially if your from out of town

We stayed at Best Western because our son was competing at the wings event center. It was about a 20 minute drive from the hotel to tbe center. The room was very nice. It had vinyl flooring instead of carpet. We did not find the beds to be very comfortable. They were hard in our opinion. My son had fun swimming in their pool. The pool was very clean. The breakfast was okay. It would have been nice to have a little bit more hot breakfast. Over all, I would recommend this hotel. It was a great price!!!!

Very clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was really good with variety of things to choose. I found that staff is always ready to help and with a smile! Price is ok for what you get. The pool was ok but a little bit cold for the time when I was there. I will come back!

My family had to go to BC recently for a funeral and we booked three rooms. We arrived during the polar vortex so I won't comment on the exterior as everything was covered in snow, but the interior had been recently remodeled. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast offered a lot more options that I thought it would. The indoor pool area is great and if you have kids you will love it. The value here was high I mean, where you can get all of that for $100?

I always find the staff at a Best Western to go out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms are clean and have everything we need. There is a Culvers restaurant right in the parking lot, so during the snowstorm we were in, i appreciated not having to drive anywhere else for dinner.

we have had our family Christmas party here for the last 7 years . we get 10 to 12 rooms so each family has their own roon . Always clean and friendly staff ! We will be back next year ! everyone is so helpful and kind

We had a very noisy fan on the heater in one of the two rooms we stayed in. We did not address it because we didn't want to be moved, as we wanted two rooms together as we were a family of 8. They do not having adjoining rooms at this hotel. The rooms themselves were clean. Smelled clean. We were dissapointed in the indoor pool. It said there was a hot tub,..there is not. The pool was very warm and had a” salty” odd taste. I know you don't go drinking pool water, but on your lips, it was unpleasant.

I have stayed at this property for over two years mainly due to the price, but I was thrilled when the rooms were updated. Firm mattresses are essential to me, and they were extremely overdue. The lobby is sharp and inviting; the property is quiet at night, close to shopping and the interstate. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. I was even allowed to check in early recently since I arrived earlier than planned. Internet is important to me, also, and it was a great connection. Also had an excellent selection of TV channels. I used the Grab & Go breakfast, which was very handy if you want to sleep in.

While it looks like the hotel was recently remodeled it is only window dressing. We stayed here 3 nights. For the last night we asked that our room be changed due to a constant noisy fan coming through the wall. They said that they would be able to accommodate us in the morning but at the time no rooms were cleaned for us to move. Since it was early morning we understood. When we came back that evening they could not move us due to being oversold. Another thing is that the beds are hard and the metal rack that the bed is on creaks when you move. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

we have stayey at BW in Battle Creek for Seven years.Have never had a bad stay or any problems. Employees are friendly..helpful..and soon become like family.The motel is located close to many resturants and shopping areas.

We were travelling in a group from one major destination to another. We called ahead to let the hotel know of our late arrival, and the staff member was very pleasant about it and asked about our credit card information in case we arrived after the night's audit. When we arrived, the clerk was quick and efficient. The room had modern décor and was very clean. Breakfast consisted of cereal, eggs, yogurt, and the most unusual offering of steamed rice with Asian condiments such as miso and tofu. That was a welcome change of pace. We had a early departure, so this hotel was perfect for our needs as a short stopover.

I was traveling and I made an emergency stop at this hotel, due to fatigue. I had no reservation, and I was down to my last $100.00. The MANAGER accommodated me and by dog. It was an ENORMOUS blessing:) The rooms are more beautiful and cleaner than most 5 star hotels. The staff took care of me in my hour of need. They brought me the things I asked for. Very quiet, and a PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE. The breakfast was great. You pick from a great Healthy breakfast, or the regular breakfasts with donuts, and cereal. They has rice, Sushi, Almond Milk...and much more. ThiS Hotel was a BREATH OF FRESH AIR. I will absolutely stay again in the future. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a memorable nice place to stay.

This facility was very clean and it had a microwave and frig. The rooms and the lobby were nicely decorated. The room was somewhat small, but it had a comfortable bed and pillows. The free breakfast was better than most motels and there are lots of places to eat nearby.

after a day on the road we arrived later than expected. Got a warm welcome from the desk clerk Shawn who was friendly and helpful. We were only passing through this time but will put this hotel on our list to stay again. Rooms were clean as were bathrooms. Good hot water and pressure. Quiet considering we were close to the interstate. Good breakfast presentation and food.

This hotel has been recently updated and the rooms are carpet-free. I feel this is cleaner and I always wear flip flops or slippers in the room anyway. The staff is friendly. We had a pre-check with arrival time set 12-2. We arrived around 1:30 and they had to see if our room was ready. Not sure why the pre-check is sent? But, the clerk got us in to a room on the second floor. We have no problem carrying luggage up one flight of stairs, but others may not like that there is no elevator. The room was nice with refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Nice air conditioner with wall controls that actually worked! The only minor issues were the bed was a little firm, the shower could have a little more pressure and the toilet made strange random noises. Overall the room was quiet. Breakfast was average hotel meal. The area apparently allows fireworks year-around and a couple were set off the first night we were there. Fortunately, it rained the next night so no fireworks. The hotel is near the expressway so it's easy on and off for travel. This hotel has a contract with the C&N railroad, so rooms fill up fast. If you don't mind climbing stairs, go for the second floor.

Recently updated and friendly staff with easy on/off the interstate in Michigan , I will definitely stay there again with the family. The pool was nice and welcoming, the HOT breakfast was well stocked.

Brand new beds, very quiet hotel, and my 4yr Grandson slept all night he didn't wake up at all :) Whirlpool tub in our rooms was amazing on the back, pool was good. Big variety at Breakfast :) We were even able to plug the PS4 up to the TV with no problems. We will stay here again

I don't give a review unless it is well deserved. The hotel manager Nick Patel was very nice as well as professional. I had an issue with my reservations due the fact I booked through another service, long story he fixed the problem which made my trip less stressful. I also forgotten a few items "tooth paste" etc. which they kindly provided. I have family & friends who live there and will be back again & again. Breakfast was great, a lot to choose from. I slept like a baby.

We had to attempt a family weeding. After a long flight from Sydney it was a pleasure to be greeted warmly and find a clean room. The indoor pool was great for such a small place and the breakfast was better than some restaurants offer. Should I have to see my family again I would definitely stay at this hotel as to the location, cleanliness and friendliness of the place. The burger place across the street (Culver's) is outstanding and a must to visit.

My stay was well worth it. The rooms were spotless. The staff was quite jovial and helpful. I had booked a room with a queen bed but upon my arrival, they were taken. So I was accomodated with a bigger room that came with a hot tub.

We stay at this hotel regularly; this was after an 18 month absence. A great stay, as ever. The dining and reception area improvements are finished and are good. The breakfast is better with the addition of fresh fruit salad. The biggest improvement is an excellent upgrade of the rooms. Perhaps they were slightly tired, but now with new furnishings and an excellent and very hygienic wooden effect floor they are very up to date. The welcome is always good and the staff seem to stay on longtime. Must be a good working environment!

We recently stayed here on a trip to Fire Keepers Casino and we had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is located conveniently off of 94 with easy access however traffic was a little heavy in this area. There are several restaurants close by. Front desk staff at check in was very friendly and hospitable. She really made us feel welcome. So was the front desk person the next day who also had the responsibility of keeping up the breakfast bar. She handled both jobs well. Breakfast was basic but very adequate and tasty. We stayed in a recently remodeled room. Room was very clean. The floor was laminate instead of carpet which was different then we are use to but in a way better as I am sure it is easier to keep clean. The bed was a little hard for our taste but maybe not to others. HVAC was just fine. TV had many channels to choose from. Bathroom was clean but the shower was a little hard to use as the shower head did not swivel down, or at least not far enough, so it sprayed over our head. Overall this was a very comfortable stay and well worth the reasonable price paid.

A newly renovated motel with fresh paint, flooring (not carpet), furniture and fixtures. The room was clean and well appointed, including USB charging ports, mini-fridge, and microwave. I found the room a little noisy due to outside car radios and talking in the hallway.

I must say that I really enjoyed my stay for the most part. From the very beginning I was greeted by the front counter. My room was decent, the internet worked well for me. My only complaint is the pillows. I know that may sound like no big deal, but they are very little square pillows and they were very hard. It made it very difficult to sleep. I don't see any other reviews with such complaints, but some full size softer pillows would definitely improve overall sleep. Not sure if you can request them, but I wouldn't probably stay there again without a better pillow option because I wasn't able to sleep well. Breakfast options were good, but the liquid type coffee dispenser is less than desirable so I stopped for coffee before starting my day.

Having a job that requires me to travel 5 days a week I know a thing or two about motels. I stayed here recently because I had a great experience when I stayed there last year. This time however I seen that the quality has reduced. From a nasty note left in my room from the housekeeping staff to the quality of the breakfast from what it once was. My room smelled like dirty socks. The guest in the adjoining room must have needed a hearing aid as his TV was loud enough for me to hear. I will say that the staff at the front desk were very polite and professional. I will be moving to another motel for the next two months that I am in Battle Creek.

I have been staying at this hotel for about eight years now on our semi annual golf trip. It is nice to arrive at a hotel and to know exactly what your experience is going to be like. Nice clean rooms, quite nights sleep and nice friendly staff to look after your needs. I think we have had the same chamber made on each and every one of our trips. She always welcomes us back and again ensures that our room is extremely clean. prior to selecting this hotel, we had stayed at some of the surrounding hotels, but found this hotel to be exactly what we needed. It is also nice to be less than 30 seconds from the highway and within a mile of all of our shopping needs. I would highly recommend this hotel if cleanliness, good nights sleep, being close to the highway and having excellently managed hotel is a high priority to you.

Used my points and got a free night, upon arrival I was upgraded to a 2 queen room instead of a 1 king room at no additional charge. Room was great, front desk clerk was great. Breakfast featured great selections more then expected, pool was down but that was ok, didn't go for that anyways but maybe next time. I would recommend this location 100%.

Needed a place to stay while attending the state volleyball tournament. This Best Western was within minutes to the Kellogg Arena and the price was right. They are also within minutes of many restaurants and shopping (if that is what you're looking for) and easy off/on of I94 expressway. The room was clean and everything worked (no maintenance calls). It was quiet, we were on the first floor near the entry and did not hear people coming and going. Internet worked fine as the teen had to complete a film project that she was working on. We did not use the fitness equipment or even check for a pool. They offer hot breakfast which was great in regards to saving time Saturday morning. Only complaint was that the bed was too hard for my mother. Overall we had a great short stay and will stay here again if in the area.

Very average hotel in Battle Creek. Well located with easy access to the interstate and nearby restaurants and shopping. Room was not exceptionally clean - a used facecloth had been left in the bathroom when we arrived. TV was not initially working but the front desk person was quick to rectify. My bed was quite lumpy though my wife was satisfied with her bed. Breakfast was very basic.

This hotel is easy to access from the Interstate, quiet, clean and reasonably priced. It has a good breakfast included. Beds are comfortable; staff is pleasant and helpful. It isn't a fancy hotel, but good for the price.

Hotel was older than I expected and there was a funny odor in my room. Also, make sure to validate the email reservation confirmation is correct. We thought we had three nights but had to pack up on the second morning and find a different hotel for our final night because the reservation was incorrect and the hotel did not have any vacancies.

I needed a hotel for a visit home. I read the good reviews and gave it a try. Wonderful! Clean, quiet, safe, and the staff is wonderful! Rooms are new with lots of space in the bathroom. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Will be staying again on a regular basis.

Great staff, clean hotel. The front desk employee actually called our room to make sure it was adequate. Housekeeping left us a welcoming note on the desk. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Breakfast was mediocre.

Your suggestions are certainly going to be taken into consideration as we are always seeking ways to improve upon the guest experience.

The owner's wife was horrid and ultra unfriendly nor did she even try to be helpful. She was condescending to us as the guests (who were treated more as pests than anything else) and she was demeaning to the staff we witnessed her interacting with. Fortunately, the staff members including Kiley (sp?) and the housekeeping staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and willing to help. I made the reservation via phone for 2 double queen rooms a week before our arrival. I had a nice conversation with Nick (who I later learned was the owner). Unfortunately, he only reserved us one of the two rooms I originally asked for. The day before arrival, I called to reserve a third room because we had more family coming in for a funeral and I talked to Kylie that time. She was very helpful and did get the reservation in but didn't realize that we were supposed have three rooms and not just two. When we checked in, we had the completely unpleasant experience of being checked in by the owners wife. She was totally unwilling to be helpful, told me it was my fault and that we would have to pay $50 more per night for a 3rd room and there was nothing she was willing to do. I understand that miscommunications happen so let's work together to get something figured out. There was no way she was going to be willing to do anything helpful, even after we discovered the mistake was made by her husband. We had just driven 18 hours straight to get there for a funeral and I did not have the mental capacity to handle her rudeness and utter lack of compassion at that point. We got keys for the 2 rooms that were reserved for us and took showers and naps and waited for her to leave. Luckily, Kiely got there a few hours later and was able to get things sorted out and apologized profusely for what we encountered when we arrived. Had it not been for her, we would have left and taken our business elsewhere. The hotel was ok, the breakfast was decent, but I can assure you I would never stay here again based solely on how awful we were treated by the owner's wife. I overheard several employees complaining about her and talking about job searching because she was so difficult to work for. This experience has completely marred my perception of Best Western. My husband travels regularly for work and commented that he had never been tested so badly at a hotel check-in.

Very nice place for the price. Unfortunately it's immediately next door to a seedy Red Roof Inn and kind of share a parking lot. Close to highway, gas stations and restaurants. It's clean, remodeled and great staff. My only complaint are the mattresses are absolutely horrible. Probably the cheapest mattress you can buy. I stay in hotels all over the Midwest three to four nights a week and these were the worst by far.

I Was quite disappointed with the quality of this Best western the rooms were in dire need of updating the beds were broken down and very uncomfortable. The pillows were very small and again not comfortable at all. the arms on the chair fell of when we pulled it out from the table. The hot breakfast was at best luke warm and the eggs were quite rubbery. The pool area did not look very inviting with stringy stuff floating in the water and the weight room smelled horrible. With multiple hotels on this same road I will not be going here again.

Breakfast & pool / fitness area better than expected for value type motel. I was surprised by 2nd floor with luggage but no elevator. Those with physical difficulties should confirm they have a 1st floor room when making reservations. The shower head was annoyingly, but not horribly limited in flow. Room was clean with mini refrig. Staff was kind enough to save some fruit we left behind & came back for the same afternoon.

This motel was neat and clean, the desk clerks were very friendly, and the breakfast was great (even had omelets!). The location is good for travelers passing by Battle Creek, near the interstate, near a shopping mall, and near many restaurants.

I like Best Western. Good Value for the money. Somewhat updated rooms, good breakfast with a nice variety of food, nice pool and friendly service. We used two rooms for a family birthday celebration and visiting area attractions for three adults and three children. They kept the pool open late for us - a nice surprise and definite plus!

Our experience with this hotel was very good. I only had 2 minor complaints: UV light showed body fluids in 2 spots, and the pillows are small and flimsy. Otherwise, the room was very clean, not cramped. Fridge and freezer both work great. Direct TV was REALLY nice. Fast wi-fi. Right off the highway. All around good stay!!

Good Service A Bit Outdated. The front desk service was very good. The condition of the hotel was ok but for the price I would have expected a little more. I just think they need to do a little updating to make this a better quality stay. Bigger fluffier pillows would be nice as well. I think the pillows were the worst part of our stay.

Nice stay though being right next to the Red Roof Inn made for loud night. Recommend getting a room at the back of the hotel. There are plenty of eateries near by with a Carvers right next door. Pool was nice but could use a hot tub for the adults. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here on our last night before heading home and we were not disappointed. The room was clean, close to highway, good breakfast. The girl who checked us in (Kylie Jo?) was very friendly as was the man who was running the breakfast area. We would definitely stay here again.

I was impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. It was a very good experince. Our room was cheefrully upgraded when the clerk realied thaat our room ahd not been booked properly. She suggestd a wonderful restaurant which we enjoyed immensely. I was pleased with our stay here.

Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast better than other comparable hotels. Easy to find. Good location. Very clean room, Lobby and hallways. Did not use pool. AC worked well on hot day. Quiet. King room a little small but our room with two queens very large. Loved fridge with large separate freezer! Worked great to re-freeze our cooler packs! Will definitely stay here again.

We put guests in this hotel for our organization. They do a super job with customer service and the place is super clean. It looks great and the price is right. Would recommend. It is a super easy on and off the express way. Lots of food choices near by and places to shop. Quick trip into the downtown area as well.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Executive Inn in Battle Creek, MI. We were in town to visit a friend. I thought all the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a very slight glitch initially with them only booking us for one night when we were staying for two, but it was quickly corrected the next day with minimal effort. We used the workout room and I found the equipment easy to figure out even though I am new to the workout room. The rooms were clean and comfortable. But, I have to say, what I most appreciated was that staff from management to maids all seemed to have hospitality as a focus and were very responsive to our needs.

My husband and I found this hotel when they were still in construction updating it. We go to Battle Creek frequently to see friends. We ended up here the 1st time because our "old favorite hotel" was full. We haven't been back to the old hotel since. The housekeeping dept., breakfast folks, front desk, everyone seems to really like their job and it shows. Never had any problem with noise and this is right down the street from the mall. Rooms are spotless, prices are fair. The President and CEO, David Kong, is there a lot and is always super nice. Good job!

Our room was haunted, the words GET OUT appeared on the bathroom mirror during my daughter's shower. We were unable to switch rooms due to it being sold out. Felt very creeped out. The hot breakfast food was cold The pool was ok The layout of the hotel has way too many doors, needs to be updated.

we stay here about every 4 months. we meet friends, 6-10 of them.it is a decent hotel for the price. The staff is excellent.The hotel is convenient to the expressway. Call ahead and see if they are hosting any sports teams as your stay will be more enjoyable if they are not.

It was a fine hotel where there seems to be some sketchy hotels. The staff was very nice and pleasant and accommodating. They addressed keys not working and allowed me to stay past the checkout time while waiting for the funeral service I was there to attend so I didn't have to just be out and about.

The beds and pillows were hard it was cold the heat was not on when we got in our room. Also we could here the toilet flush from above us. The breakfast was cold and they did not have any creamer for my coffee.

This is not an executive inn hotel. This was a terrible night of sleep. First thing is we were on 2nd floor and no elevator. Walked in room and it was freezing. Turned thermostat up but this wall unit heater turned on all night and was very loud. Hard to sleep. The shower was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. No pressure and hanging very high. The breakfast was a disaster. We should of skipped and went to a restaurant. It just seemed like a bunch of fake food done as cheap as possible. I don't normally complain in this fashion but this place is bad and I am not sure how it stays in business.

This Best Western Hotel in Battle Creek, MI is great for the price. They give a hot breakfast and swimming pool for under $80 a night. Nowadays, I had been spending $l50 or $l00 a night and no pool and a continental breakfast at different hotels. I will always try to stay at Best Western Hotels across the nation from now on.

We stayed here because the hotel was rated highly and the cost was under $100. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast area is also beautiful and clean. Lobby had a fresh clean fragrance each time we came in. No elevator, so we had to carry all of our bags to the 2nd floor. Stairwell was always clean. Hallways are a bit dark. Rooms were clean and good size for a family of 4. Nice to have a refrigerator/freezer and microwave! All granite in bathroom on sink and in shower! Carpet seemed clean. Beds were comfortable. Hotel was extremely quiet at night and we couldn't hear neighbors. We used the pool, it was really nice, a little on the cold side, but kids enjoyed it! Breakfast was hot and plentiful with eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, cereals, yogurts, coffee and fresh fruit. Staff was always friendly and welcoming no matter who was working. Would definitely stay here again!

All around great place to stay. Clean and comfortable rooms. Internet works great throughout. I wish they had a better selection at breakfast but hey, its free. What they do have is good, just did't seem to change the menu up.

Good and nice hotel with reasonable price. Stay with conform, able to arrange the continuous stay and keep the beverage stuff for next visit in near 2 weeks time. surrounding have a good restaurant and easy to access to store.

Hotel had a decent location near freeway & dining. The room was quiet, dated and very small with a small ill placed window. The staff was nice. The breakfast basic with packaged pastry, bagel, toast, what tasted like powered eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee & juice. Good for a night stay but I thought it was a bit over priced.

I had to stop for the night. This was an average stay at best. The first thing that happened was I went to call the front desk after check in and the phone did not work. The room was clean but outdated and was overpriced.

Good location, convenient to restaurants, shopping and gas stations.Battle Creek offers a lot for tourists. Beckley road is a very easy access to I-94.Plenty of restaurnts, shopping centers and Gas stations nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very nice, clean, no problems. I thought the breakfast was superb. There were a number of choices for all kinds of diets, from cereal and toast, to eggs, potatoes, waffles, and even rice in the rice cooker! I didn't use the fitness area, so can't comment on that. But what I did use was very nice. I recommend the hotel. It was very conveniently located right off the highway

Had a difficult time in the traffic getting to Battle Creek, but once there very friendly staff, nice clean room with lots of amenities. Across the parking lot was Culvers with a great variety of foods that were not overly expensive...but busy!

Best Western points program unreliable. Stay was great except Pool was cloudy and Carpets dirtied your socks. Hope that Clarification from Best Western will come. Great Breakfast here and close to good shopping

I was going to drive the 3.5 hrs back home but just felt too tiered. I did a fast review on trip adviser to see what was in Battle Creek. I picked BW because of price, location and reviews. It was very clean and I would stay here again. I did not go into the pool area. Breakfast was good for being free. It was a nice big room. No complaints here.

Great location for casino. April at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Good coffee available all day. Breakfast was just okay. Nice updated lobby but rooms were dated. never got to use pool or workout room.

This is obviously an older hotel, but updates have been made. The lobby and breakfast area are very nice, but beyond that things get a little rough. I felt that cleanliness throughout could be improved-especially the pool area, which was surrounded by visibly dirty puddles. There was a strange smell throughout also. The staff were all great though! I'd choose a different hotel next time.

We had trepidations about our room as we walked down a carpet in dire need of cleaning. Entering the room, we were happy to find a good sized room outfitted with comfortable beds and plenty of tables, chairs and a flat-screened TV. What we didn't like was no hot water, a tub that wouldn't drain and only two washcloths. But, I don't hold that against them as they immediately came and fixed a broken flapper on the tub drain and turned the water temp control higher so we would have hotter water. I have to say I was put off by the walls that needed painting and the worn look of the overall appearance. The breakfast was fresh, good and inviting, although I would have liked some gravy for the biscuits. This was not a $99 room which is what it cost (add about $10 for taxes). We did ask for, and got, a senior discount which amounted to about $9 off. This room is more like a $70 room, so we won't be coming back here again.

Very clean Hotel staff was very content with giving us a deal to stay the night I would extremely recommend Heard from night staff that the owners are very involved....and you can tell. If I am ever in the area, would definitely stay there again!!

My husband and I stayed here last night. I was worried by some recent reviews I read. There was no need to be concerned. There was construction being done on the hotel next to Best Western but nothing at our hotel. We were greeted well and even received a phone call once we settled in to make sure all was to our satisfaction. It was. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area had plenty of seating, was clean and had hot and cold selections. We were warmly greeted by the gentleman who attended to the area. He wanted to make sure we had all we wanted and made pleasant conversation when we spoke with him. We have become Best Western platinum members because of our positive experiences with our stays at Best Western properties. This hotel did not disappoint us.

We stayed July 31st for one night. There are many updates happening here. The lobby and breakfast area are really nice. The staff was very friendly-even checked on us in the pool to be sure we had enough towels. Our room was clean. Having a microwave and fridge is very convenient. I would recommend staying here when passing through. The price was great too!

I put in a order for 6 room they goofed that all up, we had one room without a shower curtain, and in my room we had to fix the commode so it would flush, and we could not pay for our rooms until check out and that was all messed up

A group of us visited June 27-29. The hotel was under construction and wreaked of cigarettes! Plastic bags and tape covered the Windows and the overall look of the property was very Tacky and unprofessional! The air did not work in my room and I was given a "house fan" - if we had not pre paid we would've left immediately! Finally - there is no elevator. My group was a mix of youth and elderly - I regret choosing this property. Several of us had the worst hotel experience we've ever had. I will never stay at another Best Western!

On June 30, 2016 we checked into the hotel and given room 115. Upon trying to enter the room, we discovered someone had attached the chain from the inside. It was occupied. We went back to the lobby and given the key for room 124. Upon entering the bed had been used, and urine in the toilet! We demanded a refund, and will never go to this hotel again.

Been staying at Best Western properties for some time and have not been disappointed so when the best I could do at the local Casino was $169 a night I called Nick Patel at the Best Western Executive Inn and I'm glad I did. Got a very nice prepared room for me and my wife at half the price. I was told before I checked in Best Western was remodeling the outside of the hotel; although there was no negative effects to our visit. However it was good to see a staff let you know and give you an opportunity to go elsewhere before checking in! No need however our stay was very nice and we had easy access to all the local attractions being right off Interstate 94 between exits 97 -98 A. All the national restaurant chains as well as local restaurants and the Lake View Square Mall is located on the same road. The signature characteristic of Best Western is cleanliness and.service and Executive Inn Battle Creek , Michigan was no different! As always the included breakfast was rock solid quality I always figure is worth at least $20 for two and much more for a family and must be taken into account at any property. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality, be sure to put this hotel at the top of your list when visiting the Battle Creek area.

Was very clean, breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly. I stayed 1 night and was very satisfied. We were 3 adults and 2 children in a queen bed room. I will stay again when I come back to Battle Creek

The outside was very plain. The personnel were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel like we really mattered. The site manager stiffed us by not calling like we had been promised. I would probably not stay here again.

The location is very convenience, wal-mart, target, shopping mall all very close by. The front desk is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is awesome with many items. The amazing part is they have miso soup and rice for the breakfast. There are many restaurant close-by

Staff was friendly and helpful, but room was not quite up to my expectations for that price point. It was a bit small and looked over a roof. Breakfast was fine and we were able to get a parking space near the door.

Normally I stay at this hotel during our semi-annual golf trip which we ended up having to cancel this spring. This time I decided to make a short trip to Michigan with my wife. It was her first stay at the Best Western Executive Inn. She really enjoyed her short stay at this hotel and now she could understand why we have stayed here so many times. It is an extremely well run hotel with friendly courteous staff that want to make your stay enjoyable. She found our room to be very clean, quiet and comfortable. Our location was excellent for access to shopping, restaurants and the highway. She totally enjoyed her stay and would welcome another stay there soon.

We stayed at this hotel to attend our nephew's high school graduation party. It was easily accessible to the highway and to shopping, restaurants and my brother's home. The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating. For the type of hotel, it was clean, beds were comfortable and it was quiet. We were on the first floor so were concerned about noise, but did not experience any. My main complaint is, as in most hotels (even higher quality hotels) the lighting and ventilation in the bathroom. There were no vents and as such the room was steamy after a shower. Additionally, the lighting made it very difficult to apply makeup. My suggestion to hotel room designers is to have a woman design the bathroom vanity area. Otherwise, we were pleasantly surprised and would stay here again if need be.

We stopped by the Best Western on our way to Grand Rapids. The location was a good with a favorite donut shop, Panera Bread, and other restaurants near by. There are no sidewalks so you will jaywalk. The room was adequate and the hotel was two levels with 40 rooms? The pool was cool and our major issue was the tub. The drain wouldn't stay open when you showered so we took it out. The shower head wasn't flexible and sprayed the back wall leaving a wet bathroom floor. We told the desk attendant that this was a real hazard and liability issue. For one night this worked for us.

Arrived in Battle Creek in readiness for visiting Gilmore Car Museum in nearby Hickory Corners. From the initial booking in to the final booking out, everything was superb. The staff here are first class and everyone did their utmost to ensure our needs were catered for. The breakfast was one of the best we've enjoyed and the selection, both hot and cold, was excellent. Our room on the second floor was simply furnished but of good quality and in very good shape. The bed was particularly comfortable and very large! Staff advice was invaluable and everyone was very friendly. I particularly enjoyed chatting to Nick amongst others on local matters and for advice. The hotel is having some work done in the coming years, although I beleive it is good enough as it is. Don't be put off by the appearance of the hotel next door which does detract from the Executive Inn. Once inside, the hotels' real character shines through. Overall, a very pleasant stay and well recommended.

We stay in this hotel every year for a two week golf holiday. The hotel is ideally situated for both golf courses and restaurants, and has it's own swimming pool. The hotel is very well decorated and presented and the rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. We particularly appreciate the courtesy of the staff. The fact that there is a minimal staff changeover indicates a happy team. We look forward to our next stay.

Staff is efficient and congenial; breakfast is not extensive, but there's enough variety and it's satisfactory, rooms are clean and comfortable, and location is great if you want to be close to the Interstate in a quiet location.

This was the trip that almost didn't happen. Our Girl Scout troop chose a hotel stay with a pool for their cookie reward money prize. That choice was prior to us knowing it would cost almost $800 for four rooms and a room for them to sit together for dinner. We specifically wanted a pool and a space we could serve the girls pizza and veggies (we brought with us) in the evening. In most hotels, we would have been charged for a banquet room. Here, we were able to use the breakfast dining tables and chairs. It worked great and heck 11 girls and three moms got free breakfast, and it was all under $400t! The pool was a great size for the girls and staff very helpful and friendly. They offered us extra towels without us asking, longer pool hours if desired, and made sure the breakfast bar was stocked for a group as large as ours. The only two comments with any hint at of something we didn't like was the in-room microwave overheated after our third bag of popcorn, but did start working in about 30 mins. Also we wanted rooms connected, but they were not available. Neither one of these had an adverse effect on our enjoyment. We're pretty confident the girls are going to pick this reward again next year and us moms are looking forward to it too!

We needed a place to sleep, as we were to visit the Binder Park Zoo the next day. Super convenient location for that, and lots of places to eat/shop in the area. Very clean and nice. Breakfast is nothing to sneeze at, but with Sweetwater Donut Mill and Culver's next door, you have options.

I enjoyed my stay here. The front desk clerks I dealt with over my stay were all very friendly and helpful. They provided helpful information about the local area when asked. The hotel breakfast was always ready on time and was enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable. As a person who hasn't traveled in years, I'm still getting used to these new little square bed pillows vs. the standard rectangular pillows I'm used to. The channel availability was expansive, though I didn't watch too much t.v., but based on a previous hotel that only had 20 measly channels, this hotel had about 150, with premium hbo's and cinimax channels. My only complaint is two pronged. The little table at the far side of the room where one would usually sit and use a laptop had no outlet beneath it on the wall. The closest outlet was in the back right corner, one of the two outlet plugs was being used by a stand-up lamp. So if you needed more than one plug, you had to unplug the lamp. And if you sat on the far side of the table, it was clear that your power cord for your laptop would not reach the outlet. Secondarily, the chairs were the most horribly uncomfortable torture devices I've ever sat in. The top, back rail of the chair dug into my back due to lack of cushion support on the high-back part of the chair. With this single exception, I had a very pleasant stay. P.S. One nice perk, was that the a/c-heating unit is actually ran by a wall mounted thermostat rather than the clunky dial settings that are most prevalent in most hotels.

The staff was attentive and polite, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was attended to throughout the morning. We stayed a week, just my son and I, and grew more fond of our "home away from home" each day. You could pay more for a newer hotel... But why would you? If we ever wind up in battle creek area again will definitely return!

The night clerk wasn't at the desk when I arrived to check in, and didn't respond to the bell. I literally had to phone the hotel I was standing in just to check in. The room was cramped, e.g. there was not nearly enough room to sit at the table. Bed squeaked loudly and literally rocked back and forth. Phone is on the opposite side of the room from the bed. Carpets are drab. Breakfast was well presented but cheap and boring.

Entire facility appeared clean and well-kept. Room was comfortable. I liked the fact the climate was controlled by an electronic thermostat and not a dial on the heat/air unit. Mattress seemed a little old. The pillows provided were tiny and uncomfortable. Overall, I was satisfied with the service.

2nd time I've stayed here at this best Western and I find it comfortable and a good price. Nothing really special but clean so it worked for us. The pool was empty almost the entire time we used it so all and all a good stay.

We arrived in the early evening during a snow storm. Alicia checked us in, when she notice I had a mobility issue, she personally shoveled a path to our van to make things easier for us, later in the evening, she shoveled a path all around the van, so when we checked out there were no issues, she was obviously concerned that I might fall. She also recommended Culvert's next door for dinner, not only was it close, but the food was good. We enjoyed our dinner, fish and chips were excellent, and the frozen custard was as good as she said it would be. Hotel close to highway, clean comfortable bed.

It was a great stay. Hotel staff were all fantastic and helpful. The room was clean and nice. Had breakfast in the hotel and it was great and a lot of choices. Didn't use any other facilities, but the pool area looked nice

This hotel is great if you are looking for a reasonable rate, with NO extras. If you are looking for fancy, this is NOT the hotel for you. But it serves its purpose as a low-end, cheaper option to the nearby expensive hotels. Rooms were clean, staff was ok, breakfast was pretty terrible. I've stayed at worse places, and I've stayed at better.

Hotel is fair. Too expensive for the service I got. I stayed there one night, checking in around 1 AM. Room was cold as heater was not on. I turned on and stayed on the entire night, overheating the room. Breakfast was the usual at this class of hotels.

We had a business conference and a family event to attend. I was looking for a reasonably priced place with a kitchenette nearby our events. Although BW did not have kitchenettes, they did have a microwave and coffee maker in our room. Along with their full complimentary breakfast, they had a cooked rice bar! That was exciting. We used the gym everyday. We would stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel as a stop over - parking was a bit cramped as the hotel shares lot with another motel/hotel. Entrance to hotel parking lot was a bit tricky as a Culver's is right next door. Got into my room a few doors down from the pool entrance when a loud disturbance/argument erupted in the hall. I was afraid that this was going to be recurring through out the night and it would be difficult to sleep. The management was telling a guest to leave as their group of 20+ was exceeding hotel rules on the number of people allowed in one room. Police were called and the guests were politely removed from the premises. The night was quiet.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and attractive, and the pool and hot tub are great, all at a very good price. The one disappointment was at breakfast; what would have been a decent spread of options was provided, but everything except the waffles was stone cold. This may have been a one-time fluke, but we were just staying the one night.

Rooms need more light. Check in host not friendly nor unfriendly, just kind of blah. Could use some customer service training. Hot breakfast was not very good and sausage made me ill. Think you should not have to have a minimum of two hundred words to complete this review. It is exasperating to try to fill this space.

A hotel is a hotel....but this one I came to realize you are more like family. I stayed here for a week during my mothers funeral. Upon checking in a nice young gentleman was very accommodating...I for the life of me cannot remember his name but was the only male front desk staff that week. Make check in so pleasant quick and easy. Giving me directions to the funeral home and anything I needed. Called my room about 20 minutes later just to make sure I had everything I needed. Upon waking from my first night, I could hear the housekeeping staff in the hallways greeting other guests...wishing them a great day. It was so pleasant to hear them being so outgoing & personable. You don't get that at a lot of hotels & it was just pleasant to hear. Courtney & Megan were their names. My daughter left her pillows in her room when she checked out and they placed a note in my room to tell me they were at the front desk. The next couple of nights, Alicia at the front desk was so pleasant to talk to...this entire staff needs to be commended for doing such a great job. This is what makes it a place I would want to stay again. The rooms were pleasantly clean, updated and in need of no repairs. The doors did have a larger gap than normal for light to shine through at the bottom but that is the least of the worries when all of the above made up for it. I will stay here again & again and I hope the staff stays the same :) See you soon....Yooper family

This was a clean hotel. It has been recently redecorated into a modern decor. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. The staff was efficient. The continental breakfast had a big selection to choose from. The heating/cooling unit in the hotel was very noisy. There was kids running in the hallway and you could hear everything people were saying. About ten it got quiet - or I fell asleep.

I was here for business. The hotel itself was very clean! The beds were uncomfortable and were as hard as a rock. Breakfast was very good and they offered a lot of options. Hotel staff was very nice. No elevator, which made it difficult to to carry 6 days worth of luggage up and down the stairs. Staff did offer to help upon arrival.

When deciding on booking this hotel, I read the reviews from others. One of the reviews use this title, "Don't Judge a Book by its Cover." Well pleased with our stay, I am in agreement, you can not judge this establishment by its outer appearrance. The lobby is modern. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. While the water in the pool was warm, the room itself was a little nippy. The wifi was not that great, but just walk across the way to the Culver's for a good wifi signal. The staff was very friendly. We had a large group, but the staff was able to keep the continental breakfast area fully stacked with items. It had something for everyone. I would highly recommend this establishment and would come back. The location is also great- right off the expressway,close to a shopping mall and many restaurants. As a side note- it might be worth the investment to consider working with the other hotels to establish a Casino shuttle.

We spent one night here recently on our way to Chicago. Our room was quiet, clean, spacious with 2 queen comfortable beds, high speed wifi was excellent and free. The location was great, close to shopping and several restaurants. The breakfast was good and was included in the price, good value overall. We will stay here again.

Good value, clean, good size rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, high speed internet, breakfast included was good. Good location, close to restaurants and shopping. Walked to mall which included department stores Sears, Macy's, JC Penny and Target across street from mall.

Great place to stay. The room was new, bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet. They had a pot of rice, with all of the condiments, included with breakfast. It was a nice surprise to have a healthy choice at a hotel breakfast. Safe parking for motorcycles. Staff is very helpful.

If you are looking for an excellent location close to town, easy highway access, friendly helpful staff in a well managed hotel, quite sleep, clean rooms, comfortable bed, close to many restaurants and shopping then this is the place for you. I have stayed here for our semi-annual golf trip for the past 7 years and have not looked back. We use to stay at other local hotels prior to finding this hotel. Each trip we get two rooms for four nights.

really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was quiet with no issues parking. Room was nice, with free wifi. I did not have any issues with the connection or speed. I liked that they had a laundry room, which we did use during our stay with no issues.

There are not many reasonable hotel options in this area. But this hotel is the exception. Very reasonable rates for a basic amenity hotel. We were in the area for a funeral so were not in the room much, so this hotel suited our needs. Benefits: right off the interstate, great price, excellent breakfast, pool & fitness area in good condition, free wifi. Cons: bed was very very uncomfortable and did not make for a great sleep.
