    « Mother's Day »

We very much enjoyed our stay in Bandon, Oregon. Staff was helpful and courteous. They not only provided information regarding places to eat but things to do. The room was very clean and pleased with the amenities. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices.

« Best western inn at face rock review »

Excellent service!!! Larry at the front desk started our stay with humor and laughter and Liz one of the house keeping managers made us feel right at home and took extra good care of us. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Bandon

    « Excellent in everything »

Awesome customer service; excellent room and just all around EXCELLENT! I will recommend to all. My pets were welcomed with doggy treats and we were given a first floor room for easy ?in and out? as we requested.

« Great place to stay in Bandon Oregon »

Best Western Inn at Face Rock Bandon A day at Bandon Oregon 578798011 At first look not what we expected as we did not realize the size of the Inn from the front entrance and location was a little further out of town. Staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful. We had reserved a regular room but the offer made by the staff for a suite was too good to pass up. Room was very nice and had a partial view of the ocean. Easy walk down to the beach which was one of the best beaches we had ever been on. Happy we stayed out of town as it was very nice area and easy drive into downtown Bandon. A very pleasant stay.

« Clean and Decent Location - No Ocean View »

It is a typical Best Western hotel, though our room was quite spacious. The hotel is across the street from the beach, with a very easy walk to beautiful Face Rock beach, but there are no rooms with an ocean view. We had a pet friendly room (at $25 extra a night), but did not receive any provisions for our dog, no dog treats, towels, toys, etc., which most other pet friendly hotels provide. Service was fine, front desk friendly but not knowledgeable of the area. I asked about hiking trails close by, but the man at the front desk said he doesn't know the area. I wouldn't necessarily stay here if we don't have our dog with us, but it is appropriate for anyone looking for a pet friendly hotel here.

    « Golfing Trip »

Great hotel for the price. The service was friendly, with a nice room and great breakfast. This is the second time staying at the hotel and will do it again. Also, it has a nice view that is a short walk to the Pacific ocean beach.

« Wonderful Location, Great Breakfast »

Not ON the ocean but within a short walking distance, this Best Western has a good location, in the great little city of Bandon. I was also very impressed with their breakfast which was not just a typical hotel breakfast. They had homemade pancakes (not those that come out of a machine), a couple kinds of yogurts, and plenty of tables. The room was also large and the bed was comfy. But there were a lot of little things, I think they need to improve. In the whole room I found 4 outlets - none of which were located in a convenient space. And one of the outlet wouldn't hold a plug. They need a couple of power strips so electronic devices can be easily accommodated. The hair dryer was stuck in low. There was a pad of paper but no pens. My coffee wasn't replaced on the second day, there were no lids for the coffee cups (though you could get them in the breakfast hall) and the ironing board is a miniature and my back hurt bending over to use it. Little things that would be easily fixed. I'd return again.

« Beautiful Hotel inn a beautiful location »

The newly remodeled suites are off the charts, the price is a bargain, and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Seriously, you'll love it here. I stay in 175 hotels a year and this is one of my favorites.

« Great place to stay! »

I came here with my parents and aunt to catch up and hang out. I wasn't expecting too much, but the staff really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as they could. I had forgotten my toothbrush and they gave me disposable toothbrushes, which was great. We went to the free breakfast in the morning and I wasn't expecting much, as it's a hotel free breakfast. But it was actually really good! Everything was hot and full and seemed freshly made. And there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was on top of making sure there was fresh coffee and that we had everything we needed. I work in customer service so it's one of the first things I notice and they really were great. I would absolutely stay here again!

    « Good Stay »

I stayed here for four nights. This hotel is clean and functional in a good location. It does not have beach views but you can hear the waves and access the beach across the street. The rooms are updated in some ways ways but dated in others. In particular the blow dryer was horrible!?loud and hot but with no airflow. But everything works. There's hot, strong water in the shower and everything is clean. Above all, the staff was ultra friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and hot. I would definitely stay here again.

« Nice rooms, bright, great breakfast and pet friendly »

Stayed here on business but my wife and two small dogs came too. Allowed an early Checkin. Room was very light. Private and quiet. Staff loved the dogs. Very close to the beach and bluff. What I really loved was the breakfast. It came with the room but is probably the most extensive I have ever seen. Too much to list but really well made. Be sure to have the hash browns.

    5
    « Great facility »

Clean, quiet and large motel. Short walk to a private beach. We went in mid April so it was not crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offered lots of choices. We will definitely return!

    4
« Not as clean as other sites »

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall appearance grounds was fine. Carpet in room in need of cleaning. Rest of room was very clean. Location is across the street from beach with private access trail. .

    5
    « Excellent Resort »

We only stayed one night but the resort was kept in excellent condition. The breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel. It was restaurant quality and plenty of seating. The room we had was very quiet and had a second door to the patio.

    5
« blustery day at face rock »

The staff and food at this location were both the best at any BW that my wife and I have experienced. we will stay here again when ever we are in the area. As seniors we enjoy quietness and this location offered that as it was far from the highway. The only noise was the Oceans roar.

    1
« not worth the money »

plastic cover on mattress, very difficult to sleep, cold room, maid did not vacuum carpet and clean table tops, had to pressure front desk to clean room (was told all that could be done is bring me more towels)

    5
« Great place to stay »

This is a great place to stay. The staff is amazing. The kids loved the pool. Kids enjoyed the internet and TV. The rooms were clean and beds were great. Short distance from the beach. An breakfast was amazing. I will be back.

    « Don't Leave Anything Behind »

Hotel room was nice. Guest services was pleasant. Quick walk to the beach. But when I left a book there and drove back home 5 and a half hours away I called to inquire about having it shipped back. When they said they would send it back to me and asked for my card number I thought they would send it from the post office in a 5 dollar priority shipping box like many hotels I had no problem paying to get my book back. When it came in today I was happy until I opened it and found my bookmark (a dollar bill) had been taken from my book and that I had been charged 13 dollars to have it shipped back to me when I could have just replaced it through Amazon for 10. Very displeased with the manner in which this was handled.

« Verynice hoteleitha great design the rooms have excellent amenities »

Very close to face rock state park and dining in old town Bandon. Has convenient beach access The breakfast is superb with sausages, pancakes and scrambled eggs. The staff are great They paid close attention to my disability requirements and had a great room fo rme. The location looks more like a resort than a motel.

    5
    « High-End Best Western »

We had just come from the BW Humboldt in Eureka, which also had good reviews, and the two properties can't be compared. The Bandon BWP is across the street from beachfront properties, with its own beach access that takes you down to a gorgeous long, wide beach bookended by magestic outcroppings. The place feels like it's on a golf course. The rooms are great, and the breakfast area is large and features a generous buffet.

« Overnight at Bandon, OR »

Great hotel with amenities. Clean, comfortable, friendly and a very good breakfast. Beautiful location with beach access. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Good value for the cost. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

« good hotel with amenities »

difficult to find but we had a newly renovated suite which was very nice, large with good kitchen. hotel has nice indoor pool and a good hot buffet breakfast. Friendly helpful staff and lovely view of ocean across the road.

    4
« Nice stay at Inn at Face Rock »

We had a king sized unit with desk and ample seating area. In addition, we had a double sink outer bathroom. A refrigerator, coffee maker, etc. made it even more comfortable. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast included in the room rate is the best we have ever had in a hotel which includes breakfast.

    4
« Best Hotel in Bandon »

My wife & I stayed here recently. Very Attentive & friendly staff with Great Customer service skills.. The rooms are nice, but could use an update. Breakfast was very good. Best place to stay if your in Bandon..

    5
    « Great Environment »

Our family decided to do a road trip from Scappoose Oregon. We decided to stop at the second day after doing research on what place had things we all wanted. 5 of us our kiddos 13,12,4. Tessa was the woman at the hotel counter. We had the greatest time. All of our needs were met and we were minutes from the Ocean Beaches. We went horse back riding and enjoyed the small antique shops. We stayed an extra day because we felt so welcome.

    5
« Best place to stay ever! »

Very clean, affordable and the queen suites are amazing. The employees where super great and the view in room 101 was amazing as well. Loved the pool and fitness center. The bath in the bathrooms where so nice and huge and the housekeepers where so amazing. Thank u best western at face rock.

« Relaxing weekend at Bandon »

Beautiful place for a nice relaxing weekend. Weather didn't cooperate much but we got to walk the beach on Saturday and enjoy a wonderful meal at a local restaurant recommended by the front desk. Great staff, great location, great breakfast, great rooms!

    4
    « Peaceful night sleep »

After a long day on the road, this was a lovely place to stop. We asked for a quiet room, no one overhead, it was quiet. Comfortable beds, clean room, friendly & efficient check in. Complimentary breakfast was great, one of best we have enjoyed. Will stay again.

    5
    « Over the Top »

We arrived early at 1 p.m. And after a joke about not checking in people from Washington State early, we were very pleasantly checked in and given our choice of rooms. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are clustered in groups of four with no next door walls and we elected the second floor. Nice rooms--well maintained and seem a little older. Barely can see the beach, but there is a path right down to the beach through the dunes and there you are. Be warned if you are wearing shoes that there is a stream that might limit access to the south. Full breakfast and a decent dining area.

    5
« A great place to stay in Bandon »

This is probably the best place to stay in this town. Not on the ocean...but there is a short path, very pretty....that takes you to the beach. The inn and grounds are meticulously cared for, staff is friendly and helpful. This is far better than some of the dated and well worn hotels on the beach. Buildings surround a large park like grassy area with gazebo. Very quiet part of town and yet only about 5 or 10 minuets from restaurants and town.

« Nice room , great breakfast with a cheerful host! »

Had a good room , no problem best western stay - Had no complaints! Breakfast was ready at the announced time , hosted by a nice , cheerful young lady , and as a bonus , the weather has been great , sunny and 55 to 60 degrees!

    « Okay »

The tv system is awful and frustrating but then that the stay was pretty great, fun pool and gym!! Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean and pretty. Just please make your tv's better I couldn't even connect my laptop to it with an hdmi because the remote doesn't have and option. ):

    « Never disappoints »

It was an impromptu visit to the coast. Bandon was the agreed upon destination. The weather was cold, wet, windy. We decided to stay. BW at Face Rock was my choice last time because access to the beach was easy. I was met at the front desk by Eileen and Larry. They were super friendly. Extremely personable. Eileen set me up with a great room, ocean view, more than fair price. Breakfast was awesome. Room was clean, quiet, cozy, comfortable. The entire staff was super friendly. Larry checked us out and was genuinely appreciative for our business. This will always be my choice when going to Bandon. You should make it yours too!

« Clean, good size rooms, need additional outlets at nightstands »

This hotel is relatively new, the rooms are spacious with a front and back door that goes out to a small patio. It's about a mile from the Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint and about two-three miles from downtown Bandon. It's across the street from the ocean, but there is easy access the street and to the beach from the hotel. The weather is so nice in this area, the banana belt of Oregon, warmer than most other parts in January, when we visited. The people who live in town confirmed the nicer weather year round and claimed that's why they live in the area, less rain and more sunshine and warm than inland and further north. They could use more electrical outlets in the rooms, as it was hard to get to them behind the night stands...hope they install lamps with outlets soon. The breakfast was really good, while prepared for a lot of people and not customized meals, the food was better than most hotels which include breakfast. They had hot eggs, meat, pancakes, waffles, potatoes, cereals, muffins. Will stay here again!

    4
« Great location, nice room(but stinky), great breakfast. »

Room was large and well kept, almost a suite with two entrances. They used that nasty disinfecting deodorizer stuff which took a couple of hours to air out. You are about a five minute drive from the seaside area of town, and there is a private path to the beach right across the road. The beach is fabulous and should not be missed. The complimentary breakfast was possibly the best free hotel breakfast I have ever had. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    3
    « Facerock »

The hotel had a good outside appearance, the staff was very good. Chick you're literally the housekeeping staff did everything extra I asked them to do. Maintenance couldn't seem to fix the couple of problems we had to our satisfaction. The toilet, the lighting, the door locks. The inside was well worn and used and needs to be updated drastically.

    4
« Comfortable room - clean and well maintained property »

Clean and comfortable room close to the beach. We looked for a pet friendly motel in Bandon. Room was clean and good sized. Heat worked well. Beds super comfortable. Beach access via a small path. Beach area was outstanding.

    5
« Nice place, good value »

Great location. Fun town. Hotel is down by the beach and has great views. I couldn't believe how little we paid for such a good hotel. We had a great stay there with no problems. And the complimentary breakfast is excellent.

    5
« Bandon by the sea »

We have stayed at Inn at Face Rock several times. It is a family favorite. The private beach access is wonderful. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool is comfortable, not too cold like many other hotels. Recommend the 2nd floor for ability to see the ocean. Look forward to next visit!

    4
    « Great service »

Wonderful staff, nice location. We enjoyed our stay, we had a last minute issue with a Christmas Eve reservation at another hotel and Larry, the front desk manager rescued us with a lovely room and early check in.

  • 5
« Clean comfortable rooms with friendly staff »

The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The continental breakfast was probably the most impressive I have seen for basic free breakfasts. They had a wide spread of food (biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, fruit, pasteries, oatmeal, etc.) Room was comfortable. They were a bit worn, but still clean and presented well. The way the hotel is set up, for NON suite rooms, you have very limited wall sharing with other rooms, so that cuts down on neighbor noise. Suites used to be Condos and from previous stays were nice.

    2
« Lame service at BW at facerock »

I have stayed here every year for five years but I was totally disappointed with my stay this time, seemed more like a $ 79.00 a night place not a $ 130.00 a night place. It was the night before my wedding and I felt totally harassed to leave the room, even though I requested late check out at booking and confirmed it at check in.

    5
« Great location, super clean »

We stayed here for one night. The host was so friendly and gave us heaps of information. The room was amazingly clean and well appointed and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was good and the hostess was lovely and friendly.

    5
« Loving the Oregon Coast »

The Inn at Face Rock is a motel my wife & I have stayed at numerous times and are looking forward to our next stay there. Great and friendly staff, clean rooms, nice facilities make it our go to place as we travel the Oregon Coast. It's close to the small seaside town of Bandon where there are numerous shops and restaurants.

    5
    « Great property »

Traveling Hwy 101 decided to make Bandon Oregon a stop. Stayed in a King Suite, pleasantly surprised at the size of the unit.. All the King Suite units have 2 bathrooms. Very spacious. Nice small kitchenette. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Will plan to return for a longer stay.

    5
    « Happy traveler »

Great place to stay! It's not on the beach but across the street. The value and service and quality of the hot breakfast makes it worth staying here. I have stayed across the street and the room quality especially the beds make this hotel far superior not to mention the friendliness of the staff

    4
« Great place to stay »

We had a lovely stay with a clean room, great breakfast and fantastic beach access. Staff was very friendly. The only downfall was a lack of recycling. Paper was thrown directly into the garbage and there weren't any options for cans or glass either. This was the only disappointment, and its a big one in 2017.

    5
« Quick Jaunt to Bandon »

Got a suite, quiet, clean, and great beach access. We booked online for a pet friendly motel, when we arrived, they informed us that they normally didn't allow pets in the suites. But, since we booked it online they would honor it. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Will stay again

    5
    « Hotel Stay »

Clean, Friendly, and great amenities. We love this place! I highly recommend staying here, and I think it is the best hotel in Bandon. It has everything to offer for visitors and families alike. Fantastic place with a wonderful and inviting staff.

    5
« We loved it here »

My husband, 7 year old daughter, and I loved this hotel! Everyone was so friendly from the minute we checked in. We specifically picked this place because of the heated indoor pool, which was so nice! The man at the front desk even found my daughter some pool toys to play with. Our room was clean and roomy, we loved the private balcony. My husband and I both usually have a hard time sleeping in hotel beds but we were both so glad the beds here were very comfy. Maybe the very best part... THE BREAKFAST!! I read that there was a full breakfast included with our stay but I didn't imagine it would be what it was! They had everything! It was like being in a restaurant. We will be back!

  • 5
« No Stair Climbing Needed for Beach Access »

In a nutshell, this is probably where we would stay on any return trip. The room was immaculate with a western viewing patio door. Staff was efficient and friendly. Breakfast fresh. Easy access to restaurants and Bandon pier. 5 minute drive to Bandon Old Town and Pier. Price for location and quality very good. A path leads to the beach that was pleasant to walk, no stair climbing or descending. In spite of hip and back problems, we were able to reach the beach using a cane. Approaching the water, there is a short distance through the sand dunes that would very difficult if not impossible for a wheel chair, but the main beach near the water is wide firm packed sand and beautiful. No rocks or driftwood to negotiate over or around.

    5
    « Great Stay! »

The Inn at Face Rock is a beautiful place to stay on the beautiful Oregon Coast. The amenities are clean with the most helpful staff anywhere. Breakfast has a delicious variety of items. Even Ice Cream in the Lobby!

    5
    « extremely nice »

Love the room and the view. It was quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again anytime we are in the area. The front desk personnel was so very helpful and courteous . Breakfast was good especially since I eat gluten free and and have a limited menu at most places, this was still good.

    1
    « Couldn't Sleep »

Dingy room decor, lumpy bed, and a poorly sealed balcony door that let every gust of wind into the room in the form of an insanely shrill whistle that kept us awake all night. We spent several hours trying to stuff the crack with towels and that didn't work either. Don't stay in room 238! The staff was not at all concerned that we didn't get any sleep and we checked out a day early. Ruined our weekend.

    5
    « Love this place »

It was at a beautiful location. I love that they had a close entrance to the beach. Rooms were very clean and nice. Fast internet. Very helpful. Staff. Breakfast and breakfast lady were great! Definitely will stay here again.

    4
« Awesome place to watch the sunset »

This is not your typical hotel. It is a made up of several small two story buildings. I would recommend a ground floor room that includes small patios. If you get a room with a view of the ocean will have a great place to watch the sun set. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Each has a sofa, table and chair for relaxing. Check in was quick and front desk staff gave good recommendations for places to dine. Breakfast offered a large variety of choices. Pool and hot tub area were great also.

    5
« Great jacuzzi tub in suite !! »

Great place very spacious suite my husband and I stayed in . Great jacuzzi tub pressure of the jets were awesome . Two bathroom suite which was very cool . Our view from room 203 was beautiful views of the ocean and our own private balcony . My only complaint was the cleanliness was average. Over all great stay !!! Will recommend to others

    « Bandon's Face Rock Best Western »

All employees were kind and caring. They really made us feel welcome. We had won a free nights stay from a benefit we participated in. It was comforting knowing that our families stay in this hotel often and now we got to see that they were being well taken care of. Love the website that is provided. It has great graphics and lots of actual Bandon photos, with great tourist information. Very impressive. Thank you!

    « Extremely Nice Stay »

My wife and I had a very positive experience at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock. I'm a "Platinum Member" of Best Western Rewards, and Tessa (I think that's the right spelling) at the front desk took note of this and (1) signed me up for a "double points" promotion and (2) offered to upgrade us to a suite. Wow! The suite had a very nice view of the ocean, which we enjoyed very much; a fireplace and a "firelog," which made it very easy for us to have a pleasant fire; TWO complete and very clean bathrooms; a well-equipped kitchenette and a nice place to eat, which allowed us to have supper and breakfast in our suite; and a quite comfortable bed. Since my wife prepared food for us in the morning, we didn't take advantage of the breakfast offered by the inn. However, we checked out the breakfast area before leaving, and it was a very pleasant space, and the food offered was varied and looked quite appetizing.

« My husband and I were traveling down the coast of Oregon and were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful hotel. »

The only rooms left were jacuzzi suites. Our room was BEAUTIFUL and the rates had just dropped. We had a separate bedroom, jacuzzi in the living room, a fireplace and a balcany with a view of the ocean. LOVED IT!!!

    4
« Great property across from the beach »

We had never stayed in Bandon before - just always drove through. What a pleasant surprise to find this beautiful beach! And this hotel is just across the street with some ocean view rooms (which we had). Our room was more like an apartment: separate bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, large living area c/w fireplace, a balcony facing the water, and an adequate kitchenette, although somewhat dated. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of options. Staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

    5
« Awesome, Great place to stay »

I love this place, it is quiet and clean. The property is large and it feels like a retreat. The breakfast is wonderful. I travel a lot for business and now starting to for personal, because I am getting close to retirement. I will stay at this hotel anytime I am close, what a wonderful place

    4
« Well-card for property across the highway from the beach. »

Clean, adequate rooms with a balcony on the 2nd floor, in need of a little updating. Extraordinarily helpful staff. Would return. Beach access is very convenient. The wine selection in the lobby was surprising--very adequate.

    2
    « BAD BEDS »

beds were horrible springy, would have been better as a trampoline, head board creaked everytime the pillows moved, bathroom was dingy, looked moldy in the windows and on the roof pool was basic. breakfast area was clean and well stocked with good selevtion of items

    5
« Great staff. Quiet clean rooms. »

The room was as expected, but what set our stay here apart from comparable hotels were two things: the helpful young man at the front desk at check-in and the hot breakfast. At check-in, when the young man saw they I am a BW Rewards member, he asked if I had signed up for the fall double points offer. I didn't know about that, so he kindly signed me up, so I could get the double points. He was informative in answering questions I had about local sights and restaurants, as well. As luck would have it, we stayed at two other BW hotels on this trip. The hot breakfasts should have been identical, but this one was excellent vs. mediocre and disappointing at the other two. The scrambled eggs were fluffy. The sausage links were the best I've had in ages. The coffee was good. Everyone else in the breakfast room looked pleased with their selections, as well. My only complaint, if you could call it that, was the lack of a program guide on the TV. Good thing we brought something to read.

    5
« Great location, with friendly staff »

A great place to enjoy the qualities of the Oregon coast. Staff were friendly, attentive and courteous. We recommend this Best Western facility to anyone traveling away from home for a leisure trip. We checked in via the phone, arrived at about 8:00pm and the room was perfect.

« Inn at Face Rock never disappoints! »

We always stay at this hotel when in Bandon. As always, the room were fresh and clean. The staff was also top notch as always. Larry the Front Desk Manager was fantastic and took time to show us the suites and answered all of our questions. His customer service the best I have seen in a hotel. The breakfast is also very good with many tasty choices. Way better than the typical hotel breakfast! We will be back for sure!

« Short walk to the beach. »

This hotel is within walking distance to the Face Rock beach. The grounds of the hotel were lush and wellkept. The mattresses were comfortable but our room had 2 queen size beds and it didn't leave much room for us to get around each other. It was hard to find a place to even set up the ironing board. The area was quiet and we weren't disturbed when we were sleeping. We had a refrigerator and microwave in our room which is always handy. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. Check in was slow but it wasn't their fault....just people with LOTS of questions. The breakfast buffet was very nice and was served in a separate building that was like a restaurant. The pancakes were delicious. The servers were super friendly and accommodating. On the other hand, our hotel room was steaming hot yet there were no fans or a/c. The floor of the tub looked dirty and was kind of brown. That turned us off. Our room was clean in general but not sparkling. One day our housekeeper came to our room at 5 pm to clean but we were taking naps so we didn't get anything done for us that day. We had hoped the cleaning would be done when we were out all day long. We will probably still stay here again the next time we are in Bandon. The price of the room was fair for what we got.

    « A great place to relax »

Inn at Face Rock is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy one of the best beaches around. The staff does a great job to make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. My wife and I are planning to go back there soon.

    « Predictably comfortable. »

Friendly reception, who among other thinghs pointed us unerringly to a good restaurant and accomodated our "quiet-room" preference. Room clean and wi-fi access straight/simple. Solid breakfast offering. Close to the beach, with access.

    « Great customer service »

They got everything just about perfect. Excellent customer service , good breakfast selections. Breakfast Hostess had a great attitude. The only downside of that was we were there for 6 days and the same breakfast items were served everyday. Would have preferred to have a little bit of alteration such as bacon instead of sausage for 6 days but it was still good nonetheless. Also the sheets were really thin on about the 3rd or 4th day we were there that they ripped at the top and the comforter was also ripped at the bottom and just tucked under by the maid service. However we were given the option to have them replaced but chose not to because at that point we only had a couple of days left. None of this would deter us from staying at this hotel again because everything was made up for by the great customer service of the staff!

    « Wonderful staff »

The rooms were large and clean. I got sick so we needed to stay an extra night. The hotel staff was very accommodating. I made the reservation through Expedia. When we got to hotel, we learned we would have gotten a lower rate by calling the hotel directly. We did get the lower rate the second night.

    5
    « Fist time »

Very nice hotel very nice rooms the breakfast is amazing and has a crap ton of extra food than normal hotels and the distance to the beach is literally probably less than a mile and you're literally probably about 2 to 3 miles away from the Bandon for the city and everything and only thing that kind of sucks is that the pool is not really the biggest it's only like about five feet deep hot tubs okay just be ready for a lot of people

    4
« Ok place to lay your head »

Hotel location was awesome, a short walk to a great beach. Room layout was weird! Our room had a jetted tub, but it appeared that they took 2 rooms, left one as a bedroom & converted the other into a spa with a jetted tub, tv, loveseat & fireplace???

« Great Location and Respite »

We stayed five nights here when our reservations for a cabin near Crater Lake were canceled and the smoke drove us to the Coast in early September. Larry at the check-in desk deserves kudos for his welcoming and working out the details in changing what was a one-night reservation to five nights. We loved the Inn's location close to Face Rock and less than five minutes from downtown. Although a bit dated and in need of some refurbishment, our room was clean, large, and functional. We loved the indoor hot tub and pool. And the spacious grounds. We saw deer and one elk close by the Inn just after sunset. All in all, a wonderful stay, especially since Bandon is within a short drive of the great state parks and sights along this section of the coast from Coos Bay to Golden Beach.

    5
    « Great stay »

This room was rather pricey, but I guess you are paying for the location. The motel has private beach access with great views. The room was very big and well equipped. My only complaint was the size of the counter around the sink was teeny, too small to put your toiletries, etc. The desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast, in a separate building, was standard and met our needs. I would recommend this motel.

    5
« Friendly Hotel near the Best Overlooks »

This was the second year we brought our group to Best Western Inn at Face Rock. The staff was again friendly and accommodating, the breakfasts way above the norm for "breakfast included" hotels, the rooms attractive, and the location perfect. Larry Cunningham, Kelly, and all the staff were terrific. And the laundry facilities are wonderful. For those of us travelling for an extended period, this is really important.

    « Loved this place! »

This hotel was the quietest and coziest hotel. The staff was very friendly. It is a wonderful place for kids, the pool is nice and the hotel has a private walkway to the beach which was beautiful. The town of Bandon is just a quick drive up tge highway. I highly recommend tnis hotel.

    « Nice »

The BWI had nice views and was just a short walk from the beach. The room seemed a little old but was still nice. The only drawback was the bed seemed old. Not the most comfortable. It was quiet and the bathroom was nice... We did not eat there or use any of the other benefits.

    « Beautiful and clean! »

People are friendly, the pool was sparkling, the room was immaculate, beds very comfortable. Breakfast included but I am not much of a breakfast person--biscuits and gravy, juices, coffee, cereal, scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes, yogurt, etc. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I would love to go back and stay longer. I will definitely refer friends to this hotel.

    4
    « fast and friendly »

the room was a little costly but considering the location it actually worked out well, the breakfast the next morning was better than expected and the staff was eager to please. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy the beach

    « 10 PM »

We were given an upgrade to a suite with a Jacuzzi and fireplace. We were quite pleased, to say the least. The king size bed was most comfortable. We opened the windows and could hear the ocean. that was the best.

« Outstanding hotel facility in a very cool Oregon Beach Town »

The team at Inn at Standing Rock deserves an ovation for the exceptional guest experience! Every person on the team smiled, was helpful, and did their job with energy. The breakfast area was well moitored, dishes continuously replenished, and the food was delicious. Front desk team members had great tips for local site and eats. Do not smill sthe Circles in the Sandy artist Denny, starting around 7:30 am.

« Great spot to relax. »

This Best Western is excellent! Great rooms and lovely grounds. Breakfast was amazing. Staff went beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. Bandon is a great little coast town with great restaurants, and a great quilt shop.

« Saved by Best Western! »

My sister & I had booked a room at another Bandon location & it was a disaster. We quickly called around & found that the Best Western had a lovely suite available. Staying there made our trip. Great views, great breakfast buffet & the room was like a small apartment. Very comfortable. Thank you!!

    « Family Trip »

The hotel is good kept, the staff is very accommodating ad professional, the people in charge of breakfast are amazing, they did a great job, they are fast and always taking care of the guests and with a smile on their faces. the only inconvenience we had when we check in, the room was not clean, but I came back to front desk and they immediately took care of the situation and we were relocated in other room and the guy went to see if we were happy with the new room and offered to help with the luggage. Next time I will probably try to reserve a 2 floor because of the noise, but overall very satisfied with the time we spent there.

« The Inn at Face Rock has been our choice for 12 years »

When staying in Bandon, Oregon, the Inn at Face Rock has been our choice for 12 straight years. The location offers easy beach access, has a friendly staff, and s quiet and clean. The rooms are comfortable, especially the Queen and King suites which have a compact kitchen, fireplace and deck with ocean views.

    5
    « Lovely Property »

This Best Western was very impressive! The grounds are beautifully laid out and most importantly, it is very peaceful and quiet. We were lucky to get one of the last two rooms and when I heard how much (almost $200 on a holiday weekend), I was worried, but the price was completely worth it! The room was huge! Beds were soft. Internet worked great. The breakfast was good, but what you would expect for a Best Western. There is a trail out to the beach across the street. The hotel is very recommended!

« Lousy overpriced room, good breakfast »

    1. The mattress was miserably way too soft and very uncomfortable. 2. There was literally 2 inches of counter space on the bathroom sink for your personal items.. 2 inches! 3. There are no convenience outlets. Even older hotels can install multiple outlet units to plug in our various electronic gadgets. I had to scavenge around the room for wall outlets. 4. The rod to open and close the curtains fell off in my hands. 5. The swinging security hook on the door broke off when I was opening it. The only redeeming part of my stay was breakfast. It was very good and the staff manning the breakfast area did an excellent job of keeping everything fully stocked. Otherwise, this hotel is way over priced and very outdated and inadequate.

    « Good location »

Nice location near beach. Had an upstairs king bed room - very noisy wooden stair cases if you are a light sleeper. Nice grounds to enjoy. Room was average size - clearly an old hotel that needs some updating but clean and comfortable room. Breakfast area way too small. Horrific coffee - truly awful with no coffee taste. Quite limited options and cramped given number of people trying to get food. Staff pleasant on check in and check out. Made good restaurant recommendations. If in the the area we would stay again

    « Love this hotel! »

Everything about our stay in this hotel was great. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are well maintained. There is a dedicated walkway to the beach from the hotel which was perfect. I would love to go here again.

« Beautiful Setting on the Oregon Coast »

I've stayed a couple of times at this Best Western in Bandon, Or. This time I stayed in the Queen Suite which is very nice. It has a separate bedroom with its own private full bathroom, the living area also has another full bathroom. There is a love seat that folds out into a bed, plus a roll away bed they keep in the room. The only negative is the steep cement stairs going down to the Suite. They are very narrow. The front desk is very willing to help take your luggage to the room if you need help. They serve a nice breakfast with scramble eggs, waffles, hotcakes, sausage, yogurt , muffins and cereal. While this is not right on the beach, it is across the street with a private trail to the beach. The hotel has a helpful and friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay.

    5
« Excellant hotel in Bandon »

If you are staying in Bandon for the evening or the weekend, this hotel is great. The free breakfast has options for all, the pool and hot tub are awesome and it is a very short walk to the beach. The staff is so accommodating and they even allow pets.

    4
« Enjoyed our stay very much »

Spent a week at the Inn at Face Rock. The location is very good, just a couple minutes to town. You can walk to the beach, although it is a bit strenuous. The staff were outstanding. We had a ground floor room, designated for disabled as we had some mobility problems. The room was well designed and comfortable, vaulted ceiling made it seem more spacious. Property has large lawn area and gazebo, pool, breakfast included. Can't go wrong here. Plenty of parking too.

    5
    « On point! »

We decided on this trip last minute due to forest fires and needed to find a place that would accommodate a 2 yr old and 6 month old. I had a million questions about room layout, location, and the possibility of checking in and out early. The staff was so helpful and pleasant from beginning to end. The size of the rooms were more than expected and proximity to the beach was perfect. We will absolutely be back to Bandon and will only stay here. Thank you Stephen, Nikki, and Larry!

« One of the best places to say. »

My wife and I were on our way up the coastline to enjoy the upcoming solar eclipse in central Oregon. I am so happy that I booked an evening at this wonderful and beautiful hotel. The room was spotless and huge, with views of the ocean and a nice little balcony with a couple of chairs to sit on and relax. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We asked about some good restaurants and were given some awesome choices. The restaurant that we visited per front desk staff suggestion was so awesome. Had excellent view of the harbor and lighthouse while enjoying a delicious meal. Will definitely be staying here again next time we travel through the area.

    « Perfect »

Room and property were clean and beautiful. The hotel is off the main road a bit, which made it nice and quiet. Checked in quite late with no issues after a long day. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

« Not so Pet firendly »

the place was clean although if your travel with pets bring your own trash can! we were put in back up stairs the beds were awful...old mattress no place to put your pet's poo...had to walk up to the front to find a trash can..

    « Great layover »

« Not oceanfront, no Face Rock view, few are even ocean view »

Few rooms are actually 'ocean view'. Our 'partial view' was through a breezeway across a parking lot & a row of homes [read 3'x3']. Motel is NOT oceanfront. On arrival: there was an unwrapped burrito in freezer, dog kibble under desk, very dusty headboard, stains on both coverlets (we had a double queen room). Microwave on its last legs, door sticks. No way to turn off exterior porch light so room wasn't very dark. TV had few channels, no guide and couldn't find any 'locals'. Vanity area is small, cramped with no towel rack. Recommend that housekeeping supervisor spot check randomly and deep clean 1-2 rooms per day to 'catch-up' corners, baseboards, defrost refridges, clean curtains, wash walls, etc. Two entry doors were fantastic, with full glass storm door on one. Parking at door is a plus. Full breakfast was well stocked, staffed & delicious. Beach access is OK but deep sand. Waysides in area have better access. Didn't use pool but accessible only through lobby when there was also a direct entry door. Bottom line: poor value to cost ratio.

« 4+ Stars, but pick your room carefully »

Overall, one of the best equipped Best Westerns I have ever stayed in, but shy of 5 stars due to its location on the ?wrong side? of Beach Loop Rd ? do your homework and decide whether the nice (not plush) accommodations is worth more to you that the proximity to those great looking/sounding waves. Beach access via a 500-yd well maintained path across from the hotel down the side of the Windermere. Location detail. The hotel is laid out in clumps of rooms (see photo), 101-110/201-210 faces southwest overlooking a neatly trimmed grassy field and Beach Loop Rd, 111-118/212-218 facing west, Beach Loop and the Windermere (which is on the bluff overlooking the ocean, see photo) over a large parking lot, 119-126/220-225 faces SW overlooking, well, the reception/pool building, 128-140/228-238 faces south and well-trimmed green lawns and another large parking lot, and I believe there's another section way in the back 701-807/721-824 that must have some mountain/? views, not sure. Summary, although technically most of the 101-210 section all have a sliver of ocean view, the only rooms with real breakers-in-the-distance view would be 201, 202, 203 and maybe 101, 102 *the I's being at the bottom, and the 2's being at the top. BEWARE of the gradient-steeper-than-hell steps down to the 100 series (101/102/103..), not for the elderly and really hard for any large heavy bags, great for zip-lining and mountain goats. Once in the room, things lighten up considerably and you're greeted by well-above-average Best Western space and comforts, period. Large bedroom(s), large granite-and-tile bathrooms, good water pressure and drainage (an old pet-peeve of mine), new-looking everything and small-but-pretty-good-looking kitchenette. Individual-thermostat-controlled heating in each room and bathroom, no fans or A/C (being OR, you prolly only need that 6 days a year, ours was not one of the 6). Room detail. Ours was a 1-bedroom unit with a queen bed and pull-out crunchy-but-sleepable mattress 2.5-seater couch in the living area, a small round 3-ft breakfast/games/dinner table with 2 dining chairs, a coffee table, and NO other chairs. Odd, like they really don't expect more than 2 people in those 100-series rooms. Bedroom had a nice chair so we relocated that, and a full en-suite bathroom. Good vanity and closet storage, lots of mirrors. Gripe: Nice balcony but not a single chair in sight ? feel free to stand out there as long as you can stand the cold breeze. ¾ Size stove, bar fridge (100-series room), a $20 toaster and a SINGLE-cup coffee maker and those dreadful micro-pouches. Really? Come-on, BW, you can afford to put in a regular coffee-maker with a filter or two for us NW folks. Stone-laid fireplace high off the ground with a single Duraflame. I would also subtract some portion of a star for the distinct lack of kitchen utensils ? literally 3 knives, 3 forks, 3 spoons, 4 large plastic utensils and a $1 bottle opener, 2 pots and a pan - no cutting knife, no cutting board, whisk, grater, etc. Generally not geared for cooking, please support our local restaurants in Bandon's historic block by the sea 2 miles up the road. Last but not least, to compensate for the absence of master-chef in-room utilities, they offer a more-than-decent, above-best-western-standard breakfast in the cozy breakfast hall ? again with super friendly staff running around like bees and making sure everything is fully stocked and fresh ? from the reasonable coffee to the fluffy eggs and excellent bangers (sausages), tides-of-the-day on blackboard (I was hoping for Specials-of-the-day, but afraid it was identical on all days). Only thing missing was Bacon (?) and sunny-side-up or omelet-to-order! We did not partake in the pool or hot tub, but both looked super-clean and freshly painted. Recommended.

« Quiet. So very quiet. »

Clean, well appointed retirement home, I mean hotel. Very nice but nowhere near shops, restaurants or live people. It's nice and if you want quiet, stay here. The front desk staffperson was lovely and wine is sold in the lobby.

    « August 3 and 4th stay »

This hotel was wonderful to stay in! Even though I won the night stay, we were still treated like normal paying guests. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. The breakfast was pretty good. The staff was friendly and inviting.

    3
« Hmm, what to write? »

Great location, great big rooms (suites) but badly in need of update. To me, a suite with a full stove and oven should have a full size fridge and freezer not a bar size one. If all the rooms are refurbished I would not hesitate to pay an extra $50 to $100 more per night. All the staff, no exception, we unbelievably accommodating, cannot say enough praises here. The breakfasts were okay but wish they would mix things up a liitle bit so that everyday is not 100% the same, get really boring by day 3.

    4
    « Great Experience »

This hotel is a very nice place to stay. Laid out like townhouses, the rooms are very clean and spacious. We had a balcony with a great ocean view. Staff is very friendly. Located just off the beach and about a mile from Main Street. My only complaint is the lack of participation in recycling. No recycling cans in the rooms or dining area. Best Western must get up to date on this issue.

    5
« Best Western- Face Rock Bandon Oregon »

Close to all of the sights with Beach Access. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Staff offered maps and suggestions for the area which was very helpful. Bed was a little soft for my liking but slept well. Traveled with a small dog.

« One of my favorites anywhere! »

We've been coming to the Best Western at Face Rock for a few years now and I can't say enough about what a great place this is. It has it all--location, lovely grounds, great breakfast and very nice rooms. For us, though, the best part is the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Without exception, the staff is terrific but we always feel especially welcomed by the always smiling and friendly Larry behind the desk and Kelly's smile and enthusiasm at breakfast. They make this hotel feel like another home to us!

    5
    « I would stay here again »

Clean and comfortable rooms. Room were quite, beds comfy with a nice little back patio, pool and hot tub were very nice. No Breakfast was satisfactory, good typical breakfast bar food. No real view of the ocean but the walk to the beach was fairly short.

    2
    « No A/C. No view. »

We would not have booked a room at this motel, had we known there was no A/C. The staff did give us a fan, but it's unnerving knowing some stranger could look in the window while you sleep. Very poorly designed bathroom and no view of the ocean. There is a long sandy path to a beach.

« Peaceful beauty on the Bandon Beach. »

Situated above the spectacular Bandon beachfront, the Inn at Face Rock greets you with clean, modern and spacious accommodations. The beach access is just across the road. The neighborhood is quiet and the scenery is gorgeous!

    4
    « Make sure »

This hotel was great as far as looks and place, somewhat. It was off the path of travel even though I was going to the coast for a couple of days. The Hotel was too far off the downtown area, a nd the check in time of 4 p.m was way of base. I would never stay there again.

    5
    « Excellent customer service »

We've stayed several times at the Face Rock BW, and we love it. The suites are exceptionally clean, the location is great--right across the street from the beach, and the staff has always been friendly. This last time, Steven got us situated in our room quick and painless, and Tessa at the front desk went above and beyond to show us hospitality, ensure our stay was special and that our needs were taken care of. We were so grateful for her kindness, and highly recommend staying here. Thank you again, Tessa!!

    5
    « Very comfortable »

This is an excellent place to stay on the Oregon Coast. The staff is caring and courteous, the rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was one of the best on the coast, the property layout is unique and gives each room a sense of privacy. The large lawn area is well-maintained and makes this hotel the perfect place for family gatherings. The only negative is there is no ocean view.

    1
    « Don't Stay Here...Stay in Your Car Instead! »

The place is dump. It needs work outside and inside! It is filthy - carpets, paint, mattresses, furniture falling apart, smell....everything!! The only good thing were the people and the breakfast. I WOULD DEFINATELY TELL PEOPLE NOT TO STAY HERE. Going down the narrow concrete steps to the 100 level is dangerous, especially for older people, I am almost 70 with a bad knee. The guy that too my reservation told me they had an ocean view room....NOT!!!! The ladies at the front desk were nice and were the breakfast staff. The people forgot the cleaning in relation to housekeeping. There were 8 fingernails on the carpet along with other trash when we checked in - it was still there the next day when we came back!!!!! The owner needs to put some money into this place!

    5
« Beautiful grounds and great access to ocean »

This place is wonderful!! The staff is friendly and very helpful! We found this place by "chance" while traveling down the coast. So happy we found it!! We are already planning our return. Love the rooms and the ammenities!! It is the best Best Western breakfast we have had to date!! Plenty of food always and delicious!! Thank you for the hospitality!!

    5
    « Traveling the 101 »

Just an overall positive +++++. location was perfect for a "get away". Tremendous place for the "pacific coast traveler". The room was meticulous and felt like it was newly built. Beach was truly a short walk with a 5 star view.

    3
« Good hotel but not ocean view »

This is a Good hotel They offer Great service It is Comfortable and the rooms are clean But the rooms are not ocean view nor are they ocean front unless from what I understand - you have a suite. There is beach access across the street and it's a beautiful beach.

« Clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast »

Stayed in huge jacuzzi studio suite with king sized bed that provided the best sleep of our trip. Clean room but a little worn in places. No view but we got enough of that at previous places we stayed along coast. Staff was very nice and helped us with restaurant recommendations and directions when it was time to leave. Fireplace with supplied Duraflame log was a nice touch. Living room area not made for TV viewing comfort, with screen too high on wall to get comfortable on couch, but bedroom has a TV as well. Nice complimentary breakfast in morning.

« A Motel near the beach in Oregon »

Stayed at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock with our Grand Daughter who had never been to Oregon Coast previously. Several choices in rooms, some very expensive, but worth it if you can afford. Pool & Hot Tub Wonderful, Breakfast good with hostesses that were friendly & knowledgeable about what to do.

    « Ok not great. »

Decent basic motel, nothing special, especially for the pricel. The name is deceptive, since it's not actually at Face Rock. The structure is odd with two doors in the room, one of which makes no sense. Good news it was clean, and the desk staff was pleasant. The breakfast is decent, but healthy options hard to find (eg unsweetened yogurt, good quality fresh fruit). The bed was comfortable, but pillows on the hard side.

    2
« Not worth the money »

Rooms were crowded, unclean, smelly and in desperate need of remodeling. Workout/fitness room was very limited, small, crowded and equipment was dated. There was a miscalculation in my bill which they corrected, but it took extra time which was an inconvenience since I am disabled. Handicapped parking is very limited and I question whether it meets ADA codes and regulations.

    4
« Clean, well situated and helpful staff »

We stayed here two nights on a road trip. It's a nice location to get the the beach, but no beach views - at least not from the ground floor. The staff was helpful and the pool clean and nice. Their breakfast was quite good. I would stay here again. The town of Bandon is very cute and the creamery quite good. Face Rock State Park is beautiful!

    5
« A great and safe place to stay. »

The Best Western staff went out of their way to make our stay safe and convenient . After a long drive, the were patient, understanding and professional. They made sure we fully understood the location of our room and directions to the nearest restaurants.

« Great time at Face Rock »

Always stay at Best Western at Face Rock. Bandon lacks in excellent dining but BW sure makes the stay more than worthwhile. The rooms are all comfortable, clean and have excellent views. We have stayed here several times and enjoy the dining room and the complimentary breakfast. Front desk personnel can't be beat.

    « Good location »

Clean, small room. Nice beach across the street we had to ourselves. Very safe location in the middle of a nice residential area, no tweakers or homeless folks. Pet friendly. Exceptional hot breakfast with eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausages, biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereals, fruit, breads and muffins, yogurt, juices, milk, coffee and I'm site in forgetting things. All really good quality food well prepared.

« Great Place to Stay »

We recently stayed two nights at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock in Bandon in order to do some photography. The quality of the accommodations is excellent. It is located in a quiet location with easy access to the beach and the beautiful rock formations. Highly recommend.

« Would stay here every time I am in Bandon »

Clean Cheerful Short Walk to Beach Staff super friendly to kids and dogs as well as adults The breakfast went later into the morning so didn't miss it Pool was very full would have been nice to be able to go once kids went to bed but there are not very many hotels that keep their pools open 24 7

    « Popular Bandon Inn »

Nice location away from wind but five minute walk to beach. Stayed in the queen suite which was very spacious in this age of tiny rooms. Had a small kitchen, balcony, two baths, and separate bedroom. Rooms were very clean; kitchen has newer appliances; some older furniture, but not junk. Very quiet at night. Staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel has two hot tubs, one outside which I enjoyed after a day of hiking Humbug Mountain! The included breakfast is better than most of the free hotel ones, with good juice and very good coffee (Stumptown I think). Walking distance to Face Rock wayside, but about a mile from Old Town. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo/ hotel has nice access to the beach, a great pool and hot tub and cozy rooms with a sitting area and kitchenette. It is a 4 minute drive from Old town and is on a well kept and roomy property. The staff were superb in all areas from check in to check out.

« Oasis on the Coast »

Fantastic stop on our trip down the coast!! From the amazing pool oasis with hottub and fire pit to the limo shuttle for dinner, and friendly, knowledgeable staff our stay was top notch. Comfy, clean rooms, and great location to Old Town Eureka.

    « Great place. »

Great Place. Wish I had been on vacation instead of business a business trip. Would be a great "just off the beach" place for a vacation stay. Just a short walk to the beach. Nice individual almost condo-like units.

    « Comfortable stay »

Nice stay at our stop in Bandon, along the Oregon coast. We traveled the 101 to San Fran. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was VERY good! Easy access to the beach as well!!

    « Superb property »

Larry and his staff run a quality hotel! The property is 1 of the finest best westerns we have stayed at. They go above and beyond with integrity and professionalism as well as making you feel welcome.Everything was top notch ! Thank you Inn at Face rock for making a bday weekend excellent!

    « Couldn't sleep »

I would have given it more stars but we were downstairs and when the people that were staying above us came in at 9:30 at night we heard everything. From 9:30 to midnight we heard every time they walked, talked and when they ran the water. I have kids who couldn't sleep because of it. There must not be any padding on the floors so it was very loud.

    « Wonderful experience »

Wonderful staff, very helpful from phone reservations to check-in, lovely area. Recommend a great place to eat near by. Lovely property. Larry at front Desk especially friendly and helpful! If every in area would stay there again.

« Lovely Property on the Beach »

Highly recommend this pretty property with beautiful views of the beach. Stayed in a king unit with sofa bed, kitchenette & fireplace. King bedroom was separate & roomy. Entire space was immaculate. There was a deck off the kitchen/living area which has beautiful views of the beach & ocean & the stunning big rocks which dot this stretch of the Oregon coast. We checked in at 9:15 and never heard a peep from anyplace. Breakfast was extensive. Excellent value for cost of the room.

« Good location near the beach. »

I enjoyed my stay in Bandon very much. There is much to be done on the Southern Oregon Coast. It was an easy walk to the beach. The breakfast was very good. What a nice place to stay. This is a nice place place to visit.

« Nice place near the beach »

The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice but hot (75 degrees). I couldn't get the AC or even the fan to work so I called the front desk and they informed me that the rooms don't have AV. Luckily, we had a door to a balcony and were able to get cool air into the room with the door open. They have a path directly to the beach. The breakfast was very complete. Except for the AC issue, it was a pleasant stay. Would go back.

« Stay at Face Rock in, Bandon Oregon »

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I called the hotel to book the room and they matched the internet price. Hotel was very clean, and had very friendly people working there. Their customer service was amazing. I will defiantly stay there again.

Rooms and grounds were very appealing. Beach access is across the street. Especially nice and interesting beach with little or no general public so was very private. Staff is helpful, friendly and curtious.

    « a hidden treasure »

This hotel is a little off the beaten path, but it is a lovely treat. Nice and quiet, and the most comfortable beds. The units are like little condos, and it is very near the beach at Bandon, and very near the downtown too.

    « Traveling with Dogs? »

This is the very best motel to stay with your dog(s) there is an amazing amount of wonderful grass to walk around, the set up gives the feeling of a duplex condo type, very quiet, nice deck to sit outside, very close beach access.

« Great stay in Bandon »

Very clean and quiet property. Easy walking access to beach. Excellent front desk staff. Very thoughtful and helpful. We had to leave early in the morning before the complimentary breakfast started. When the front desk staff realized we had to leave early each morning they offered a 'grab and go' bag for us to pick up in the morning. Great Service!!

« Super friendly staff, great breakfast »

Larry and his staff made our experience that much better. His suggestions lead us to places that we would not have seen otherwise. Great breakfast with lots of items to choose from including scrambles eggs and sausages.

« It doesn't get better than this!! »

My family and I stayed there over memorial weekend and hated to go back home. The office staff down to the housekeeping staff treated us like family, sometimes even better! The rooms were quite large for a double queen, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was huge with pancakes, sausage, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, cereal, breads, juice and coffee. The office staff were very helpful when we asked about things to do or see. They definitely knew the area. Their private beach access is right across the street They even have a pool and 2 spas, one outside. My suggestion is call the motel for reservations. Better deal!!! Do not go through tripadvisor or Cancelon!!

    « Beautiful Stay »

Great Room, service, friendly helpful staff, beautiful location. The breakfast was outstanding. Never had the selection and quality of food that was included in room charge from a hotel. Beautiful beach across street

    « Great stay »

This was an excellent place to stay with our students. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! One of the best amenities was the swimming pool. It was warm, warm, warm! There was also a huge lawn behind the rooms for playing and running around.

    « Great location...incredible breakfast! »

This Best Western gets top scores for location, free breakfast, and staff service. Our hope is that it be renovated soon for faulty-inadequate outlets and some pet odor/carpet spots in the pet friendly room. Great place to exercise pets on leash.

« Ocean View Resort With Beach Access and Things To Do Nearby »

We enjoyed the ocean view suite, with balcony, bedroom, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and nearby pathway to walk to the beach. Everything was clean, convenient, and special. Breakfast was plentiful and in a welcoming setting. Staff were friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful in seeing that we had a great visit. Bed was comfortable with good support. We enjoyed 2 meals in Bandon at Tony's Crab Shack. Night lighting outside the hotel was fine, and very much of a resort feeling. We have recommended the hotel to friends and plan to return.

Fun, professional stall, great location with beach access. Property well maintained and managed. Comfortable rooms with excellent beds. Full hot breakfast that was delicious. Easy drive to old town Bandon and shopping. Fantastic picturesque beaches just up the street from this hotel.

    « Great service »

Extremely friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool and spa were great. We enjoyed having plenty of space in the room for our young daughter to explore near the end of a long road trip.

    « excellent Hotel »

Great place to stay in Bandon. Steps from the beach, which is very quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. No restaurant, but downtown Bandon is 10 minutes away. Hotel is pet friendly, and they'll help you out with a towel for the dog coming back from the ocean.

    4
« Good value beach accommodation »

This is a well-maintained 80s-style property. It has manicured gardens and is close to, but not on, the beach. It's a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to town. The rooms are spacious and meticulously clean and tidy. It's a good family resort-type property with separate 2 level buildings.

    5
« Great quiet place across the street from the ocean. »

Off the Hwy. The rooms are well appointed and staff is very helpful and friendly. That should be enough, I do not have 200 words I want to use about any Hotel and think you make big mistake by requiring this number of words.

    « Nice Weekend Stay »

Great location, great staff. Very pleased with the view and access to the beach The hotel staff did a really good job of helping us find the best local eateries and beaches while we were here. We stayed in the King Suite and were very pleased at the level of amenities it had.

« Face Rock BW stay »

Love the labyrinth on the beach, casino close by in North Bend and the neighborhood where BW is located, it's nice and flat for walking. The shopping and restaurants in Bandon are wonderful. BW provides a nice breakfast and friendly service...I'll be back soon!

    « A favorite hotel »

This hotel was a pleasant surprise on our trip. The room itself was huge! It had a whole separate bedroom from living room, full kitchen, hot tub and fireplace. The balcony looked out toward the ocean. It was quiet and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and just what we needed to begin another travel day. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Hotel has a beach access just across the street. Already planning another trip just to stay here.

    5
« Great place to stay »

I have been t0 the South Oregon coast twice in the last month, house hunting and exploring. I stayed in a local motel the first trip, and was not highly impressed. Best Western Face Rock is another story. For about $30.00 more per night, you are across the street from an open water beach. The property is stunning. Great service and clean, well-appointed rooms. A definite yes.

    3
« Never judge a book by its cover »

Best Western Inn at Face Rock is beautiful to look at over all.....but, it is a little deceiving. The rooms were a bit neglected, i.e., plenty of dust and ? by the furniture and behind, meaning it hasn't been moved in a long time ( I know, I'm picky). The establishment was also doing some construction work, replacing siding on the outside of the rooms, which they were in full "swing" by 9:00 am....Lucky we were up !! Breakfast was good and tasty, breakfast room very clean. If I ever find myself in Bandon, OR again....yes, I would stay here again. I know, it sounds contradictive, but I usually give second chances.

    « Friendliest staff yet »

extremely friendly staff. The best we have ever encountered. They were all concerned how our stay was, were we comfortable, etc. I would strongly recommend the hotel to other travelers. I have used Best Western many times but this was the best we have encountered yet

« Great location and view. »

We stay at Best Western because of their pet friendly rooms. This is the second time we've stayed at Face Rock. We love the views and really enjoyed the location of the room we had this time. We'll stay here again next year.

« The Suite was sweet! »

My wife, her friend, and myself stayed at Best Western over the weekend. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful front desk lady. She gave us a map of the hotel, which included directions to the room, and all times for the pool, 2 hot tubs, laundry, and most importantly, the breakfast. The breakfast is cooked daily, and there is a lot to chose from. You couldn't go to out and eat for less than $15.00. The room was clean, included a fireplace, kitchenette, and 2 bathrooms. It was advertised as a partial ocean view, but, you could see the ocean, and had a nice sunset. The staff made our stay complete, as everyone was will to help, if needed.

    4
    « One night stay »

Staff friendly...room was nice. Located close to Bandon Dunes golf course which was purpose of stay. Breakfast was adequate. Room was clean. Had a small issue with the room which was fixed very quickly.

    « Nice hotel »

Even though the rooms need some renovation and it was damp in the rooms, due to the sea I guess, I would definitely stay here again due to the really nice staff and location!! Indoor pool was fresh, the kids loved it. Breakfast was OK.

« Awesome place where you are like family! »

We have been coming for over 50 years and will continue to stay with the Inn at Face Rock. The people on staff understand the value of friendly, personal care, and they really make us feel like family. That is so important to us! Fabulous rooms, great breakfast, and warm, encouraging people. Thank you all! Blessings to you.

    « Excellant staff. »

While my wife and I were on an anniversary drive along the west coast we just happened to stumble on the, Best Western Inn at Face Rock. We were met by the front desk manager, Mr. Larry Cunnington and the General Manager, Mr. Nate Boshart. I will say that these gentleman are two of the friendliest proprietors in the business. They could not have been more helpful. We found the hotel clean and very comfortable. And the complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have had on the entire trip. We arrived as guest and left feeling like family. Well done to the entire staff.

    5
« Service was above and beyond!! »

This establishment is doing a remodel at the time. They are making good improvements throughout the property. We were accommodated very well and the staff was very helpful. Beautiful property with nice rooms and good views. The breakfast they provide is different than most establishments. They actually have more than just your normal pastries and fruits on toast. They have a chef that actually prepares the food. A wide selection of breakfast items to choose from. From waffles and pancakes two eggs Meats and sausage and gravy along with all cereals that you would want. This stuff is some of the most courteous and helpful people you will ever find. Also was told they have a new owner and that is why they're doing the remodel. All the employees spoke very highly of their new boss. They also say they feel like they're a little family and everyone gets along with one another. And that was evident in their overall customer service.

    « Most well-lit motel room ever! »

We stayed one night on our way home from the redwoods. The staff was very helpful and friendly when we checked in. They have a unique layout, with several separate buildings that each hold 4 rooms (2 up, 2 down). I was amazed by how much lighting was in our room. Most motel rooms seem to be dark, poorly lit, 40-watt light bulbs, etc. Not here! The room was painted a light color, and then recessed lighting in the bedroom and bath area really brightened it all up even more. Plenty of table lamps and another ceiling light as well. I loved it! Bed was comfy, pillows were great wi-fi was consistent, and the whole facility was quiet. They are a block back from the beach, but you can glimpse the ocean and certainly hear it, especially from the upstairs balcony. You can also drive a back road along the beach to get to Old Town Bandon for restaurants, shopping, etc without having to go back to the highway.

    « GREAT STAY »

« Would stay here again »

Older property that is well maintained. It's across the street from the beach, close enough to hear the surf pounding. The property has a huge, beautiful lawn in the center. We liked that parking lot was configured so that we could park right in front of our room.

    5
    « Great stay! »

We stayed here when we were visiting the Wildlife park and it was great. Beach access, breakfast, and pizza close by. Definitely worth looking into. The staff was great and helpful with any needs or questions we had. The rooms and beds were great!

    « Winter get-away »

The hotel was clean and pleasantly decorated. Great beds! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is great! Breakfast area was bright and cheery and food was top notch. We had a problem with a heater not working, so we were given a discount and moved to another room.

« Gorgeous hotel across from a beautiful beach »

This hotel is on a huge expanse of land with massive lawns. The accommodations are more like little townhouses which really keeps things quiet. The staff is one of the best I have encountered and if you're having a bad day Larry will make you laugh and put a smile on your face. (We were not having a bad day) Wonderful breakfast with hot items. They are right across the street from a gorgeous beach which was a plus. Highly recommend, and will return for certain. Oh yeah, and lovely night desk guy, Stephen, came out in the rain to make sure we got into our room o.k. It was so nice we stayed an extra day.

    5
« Loved the quiet location near the beach »

This is truly a hidden gem. The rooms aren't spectacular but they are comfortable. The real selling feature for me was the proximity to the beach ... a gorgeous spot only steps away from the property!

    5
« nice and quiet, beautiful well keep grounds »

excellent location, across the street from beach. Large easy turn around parking lot. Lots of green green and dog friendly. Staff was friendly and easy to find. Breakfast was pretty good, hot food and decent coffee.

    5
    « Convenient to beach. »

This was a great location, just a few minutes' walk to beach. The hotel is set up like small townhouses, which is very private, and was very clean. Hotel staff gave me change for the laundry, as well as detergent and fabric softener, very nice breakfast as well. Would definitely stay again.

« Pleasant place at the beach »

Once or twice a year I need to travel the 363 Extraordinary Miles of the Oregon Coast for my Association meeting with folks in each of the incorporated cities and counties. This is a good place 3/4 of the way down the coast. I needed to start the next day in Bandon and the Best Western has good beach access and a pleasant open layout with large grassy areas rather the the single bid structure of many properties. The breakfast area is quick and well stocked so that I can get a quick meal before starting a day of interviews in Coos County. They drive along the beach drive to old town may be slower than the highway but it has great views.

« When It's Right, You Know It »

This is old stuff, another review of Best Western Inn at Face Rock. However, this time I'll hand Kudos to Kelly, the breakfast gal who makes your visit special. She greeted every single person who came into the breakfast area with a cheerful hello and smiles. What a bright addition to this motel. They've always been friendly, but her presence just adds sunshine to a coastal town that sees Mr. Sun infrequently. A couple shared that they had seen whales near Cape Blanco off 101. Kelly was enthused about their story and added that the whales are migrating south. We always stay here when we visit Bandon, and this time is another positive experience

    4
    « Great customer service »

We were impressed with the personal customer service locating appropriate rooms, check in, check out and during breakfast which was fantastic. Because there was a slight issue at check in regarding out reservation (quickly resolved), we were given a gift certificate to a local eatery which was awesome! Thank you!

    « Romantic Get-a-way »

Wonderful surprise. Picked hotel on our way home from Seattle. Staff went out of their way to get us a great room on the ground floor as we have difficulty with stairs. Everything was impressive, especially the log and matches in the fireplace. Would like to return sometime for a few days and just enjoy the ambiance.

    « Hotel Review »

An older hotel with outside rooms. I would not rate it as highly as other Best Westerns I have stayed in. Overall it was clean, but it was a pain having to walk outside to get to the reception area and to breakfast. Especially since the weather was rainy.

    5
    « Quiet and Comfy »

We arrived earlier than expected, but the found us a room and let us come in early. Great staff, friendly, helpful, accommodating. They serve a full breakfast, as part of the room rate. Our room was clean, quiet, very comfortable though a little bit dated in décor. Still, we'd come here again.

    « Best Choice!! »

My husband and I were on our first vacation in 11 years. Living on the east coast I wasn't sure where to stay so my brother recommended this hotel since he had stayed there on business and he knew that it would meet all our expectations. Having the ocean across the street and having access to it was wonderful plus our own private balcony to relax on. The bed was cozy as was the room. We will stay here again in a heart beat.

    3
    « Snug as a bug... »

We stopped in and got a room with out a reservation. The front desk guy gave us a great rate that matched the AAA rate we usually get. The room was clean and smelled fresh (no mildew). We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but helped ourselves to the generous breakfast and took a walk down to the beach in the fog. The only noise we heard was the crashing of ocean waves which lulled me into a very peaceful sleep. We'll be back.

« Staying on the Oregon coast »

My mother, sister and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the real fire place a pleasant surprise. The staff were very helpful with making sure we had a room with no stairs as my mom has a hard time with them. The breakfast is nice and has a good selection of items. I would stay here again. Thank you Best Western for making a rainy vacation enjoyable.

    5
« Excellent Best Western, staff included »

I will stay here again, especially in the summer.. This hotel was the best hotel i stayed at other than not being right on the beach. I still could see the ocean from my room, and to the left a little forestry area. Actually I am thinking about cancelling my Thanksgivning reservations and booking here. was nice retreat out of office..

« Updates appreciated, but age still shows. »

The garden-style rooms are nice, and having beach access is great, but you do have to cross the road to get there and peek between the building of the hotel across the road to get a glimpse of the ocean from your room. They have made efforts to update the property - the painted wood furniture is nice, and the bathroom finishes are pretty - but our room smelled very musty, and while it was a bonus to have a seating area, the furniture wasn't comfortable. The bed, however, was comfortable, and the room seemed very clean. The cable service is quite basic, but it works for when you're not at the beach. The mini fridge was convenient, but it made noise 24/7. We were downstairs, and when we had upstairs neighbors the second night of our stay, you could hear the ceiling joists creaking whenever they walked across the floor. The shower head was nice, and we loved having a tub for our child, but the water temperature seemed to fluctuate a lot. More signs of the age of the complex, I believe. The included breakfast is, of course, a nice option.

    « Super place »

Got upgraded to a king suite (platinum member) facing the ocean (in the distance). What a great room. Super quiet and had a fireplace (wax logs), Jacuzzi, mini-kitchen, 2 full bathrooms. Breakfast was better than usual for a BW and ALL staff were great. Front desk very friendly and we actually had somebody in housekeeping greet us and ask us how we were when we were walking by them - we were shocked as we are usually ignored by housekeeping staff - keep up the great work. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Quick little walk across the street to the ocean.

    5
« Quiet, Comfortable, Close to Ocean »

Stayed upstairs in room 723 (two queen beds) at back of property. Had to carry our things up stairs but better for privacy. Don't know if the units downstairs or next door were occupied but we heard no noise. Nice outdoor balcony. Bed was very comfortable, large refrigerator was nice. Plenty of desk and table space to spread out, with a dining table for two that was handy for our takeout dinner. Everything was clean and worked fine. Liked clothing rod near sink area instead of a closet - harder to forget your clothes. Easy walk to beach. Nice quiet street/area. Breakfast area was kept tidy and stocked. They didn't have skim milk, but otherwise there were enough healthy, filling breakfast items. Efficient check-in and check-out. We arrived very late so did not use pool, jacuzzi or the nice living-room type area near the front desk.

« Avoid the outragious prices of Bandon Dunes. Stay Here! »

This is a very nice facility employing great people manning the check in desk. Steven was excellent! The rooms were clean and had 2 full baths, perhaps it could be differently configured based on number in the party. There was a full sized refrigerator, a microwave and a huge hot tub in the living room. The rooms were clean, the beds/pillows were comfortable and it was quiet. The breakfast room was large with very well attended to hot breakfast. I would recommend BW Face Rock.

    5
« Lovely Pet Friendly Hotel »

In traveling with our two golden retrievers it's always so nice to come across a pet friendly hotel that is clean, friendly and doesn't overcharge for your pets. We spent one night here and everyone was friendly and welcoming of all of us. Bandon is a charming town and this was a perfect place to stay. Room is clean, beds super comfortable and we opted for the second floor which had a balcony for the dogs and a nice breeze.

    « Staff is amazing! »

Tessa at the front registration desk is amazing, and went above and beyond to help my two year old little girl try and find her lost stuffed monkey :) She was also a wealth of good local information. Kelly at the breakfast room was fabulous, and greeted us every morning with the most sincere smile and cheerful attitude. What a great way to start our day! Super beach access, even with four little kids!

« Love staying at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock »

    « Nice quiet get-away »

We have stayed at this motel in the past & liked it, consequently we chose to revisit this year. Each time we have secured a ground floor unit which is to my liking for health reasons. The rooms are quiet even if you happen to be in a unit with an upstairs apartment. The location is very peaceful & close to the shore, however very few units can boast a sea view. The furnishings are comfortable & clean & while the units do have heating if the weather is cold they do not have Air Conditioning. This is not too unusual for coastal facilities, most lack Air Conditioning. The Best Western here does offer a fan if the weather gets a little hot. My wife & I find that in the mornings with the hot shower steam & the heat from hair dryers Air Conditioning can be a boon. The units do also have a microwave oven & a refrigerator/freezer that we find a must. All the staff we interfaced with were very helpful & accommodating, & the included full hot breakfast is very good, with a good range of selections. We would recommend staying here to anyone.

« Clean hotel close to the beach with unique layout. »

We loved this hotel. The staff was extremely kind and having the beach so close was a big win for us. The continental breakfast was very satisfying as well. If you're in the lower level rooms, the upstairs floorboards are a bit creaky, but all of the good about the hotel outweighs that fact.

    5
« BWI in Bandon, and Gold Beach OR »

Both facilities were very clean, well maintained, and the staff at both were knowledgeable, friendly, and made excellent referrals to other businesses in town for various other sights, restaurants, services, and attractions (such as good coffee facilities). They were always quick to ask if we needed anything extra. The Gold Beach facility add to go out of there way to make additional accommodations for us. Thank you.

« Hotel is like an apartment complex »

Standard Room with two queen beds. First floor with a small patio. Large room with two queen beds and two bathroom sinks. The showerhead was really high and hard to reach and the water hit me in the ear. The sinks had squeaky handles no matter which one you used. No standard dresser in the room, just two drawers underneath the microwave. A little small closet area by the sinks to hang your clothes. The outdoor lights shined in my room at night, which made it more difficult to fall asleep. The refrigerator seem to make noise at night as it turned on for a while and made noise. Two doors in this unit with one for the patio and the main door. The beach access point is across the road on a long trail to the beach. Breakfast was included and there was a nice selection of hot and cold items such as sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, fruit, cold cereal, etc. The menu seemed to change a little each as the served French toast on the second day of my stay. The hotel was designed like an apartment complex and was located in a mostly residential area. There was an exercise room, swimming pool and a Jacuzzi tub, vending and ice machines. A laundry room required two dollars in quarters to use. A nice hotel, but would recommend a upper floor room, which is a little more quiet. No elevators in any of the residential buildings.

« Best ever if you travel with your dog(s)! VERY dog friendly. »

Everything was truly fine with our stay. Love how we parked immediately outside our room.. WHEN THEY SAY DOG FRIENDLY, THEY MEAN IT! Breakfast was fantastic! It was a total, complete breakfast, eggs, sausage, breads (raisin toast!), eggs, waffles, hashed browns, country gravy, juices.. all excellent and.. you could take breakfast to your room on a tray - fantastic. Do something about the Daddy Long Legs and the icky rubber drapes. Beds were very comfortable! Give instructions out at check in re how to operate thermostat! It was a challenge until someone taught us the PROCESS.

    « Great Location »

This Best Western is in a fantastic location. It has access to the beach and dunes. Walking on this beach is delightful. The rock formations are what we expected to see from a distance, but here they are up close. The buildings are a little outdated and they could use a facelift, but the room was clean. The included breakfast was a plus as we didn't have to go out to eat. But within hours of eating breakfast I did get sick and can only assume that it was the sausages. The rest of the food was fine.

    « WEIRD LAYOUT »

We got the last room available after a long day on the road/sight seeing. The room was a suite with separate queen bedroom, 2 bathrooms, small kitchenette, fireplace, table and chairs. The room and baths were clean, beds comfy, well stocked baths with shampoo, etc. The sitting area had a jacuzzi in the corner which was weird since to watch TV you had to practically sit in the tub to see it. TV reception was terrible, very snowy, WiFi spotty as well. The biggest negative was our room was on the first floor which you had to walk down to. The steps down were 2 flights of very steep stairs. Felt like we were going into a cave. Needless to say we only carried down the essentials for an overnight stay. The next morning was a beautiful sunny day and the breakfast room and food were great. Not sure I would stay here again given the high price and quirky layout.

    « Bandon Golf Trip »

We had 10 guys sharing five rooms for our stay. The review of excellent is based on expectations of this level of hotel...it is clearly a mid-level hotel. But we would all call it best in class and is a great example of a nice small town hotel. The owners clearly are invested in their property. We have stayed here before, and will again.

    3
    « Nice comfortable place »

The stay was comfortable and convenient. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was similar to other hotels of this caliber. The biggest item on my mind was the value. It seemed overpriced in comparison to similar options. I almost canceled my reservation and booked with another but did not due to unfamiliarity with the other options until we arrived in Bandon.

    4
    « Exceptional Breakfast »

The room was nice and clean. But, the complimentary breakfast remarkable. I like Hampton's breakfast, but this was good. Kelly, Leatrice were attendants that were obviously proud of food and service. And, chef Jeff as listed on the marquee was no joke. The food was outstanding particularly in the hot food department. All things being equal as far rooms go in Bandon, Ore., go for the breakfast. AND, tip them in the jar, they certainly deserve it.

« Nice Best Western with a budget priced stay »

We stayed here in Bandon while visiting the area. This is a motel not hotel that was moderate in price compared to the other local hotels. This is a small town with limited hotels/motels. The hotel is older and has had updates done. It is in a nice area with limited view of the ocean.

    5
    « Coastal Road Trip »

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, including a private walkway to the beach, where we were able to see the Face Rock up close. My friend and I were taking a road trip along the Oregon Coast and this is one of the spots we selected as a place to spend the night.

    5
« Well worth the cost »

We stayed at the Face Rock Best Western in Bandon Oregon. The room was great, as was the free breakfast. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. We would stay there again, if we ever visit Bandon again.

    « Awesome hot breakfast! :-) »

Best hot breakfast of any hotel we have visited! More options than we could even eat and it was all fresh and hot! The staff throughout the hotel were all so helpful and friendly and especially Kelly and Kayla did such a great job with the breakfast buffet! :-)

One of the best bestwestern hotels we have stayed in. Free breakfast gets high marks for being fresh. Clean, nice large rooms well appointed. Right across from the beach. Very friendly helpful staff. Very good stay

« Great Staff and property »

I travel a lot and stay all levels of hotels. Rarely do I find a staff as friendly and helpful as the folks at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this property!

    5
« Great value and comfortable »

This property is located near the ocean and is a great value for the location. The room we stayed in was more like a separate studio then a hotel room. It had two entrances and was off of the main part of the building. There were laundry facilities, which we needed after 5 days on the road, a great free breakfast and the pool area was very clean and comfortable.

    4
« Think more beach house, less hotel room. »

Pleasantly surprised on arrival. Was expecting a regular hotel and found a series of quadplexes scattered around a campus environment. Rooms were large and more like apartments than rooms. Would stay here again for a few days instead of a single night. Good dining options near by.

    4
    « Get away »

Nice quiet place across the street from the beach. The facility is out of town but not too far. The rooms are nice and roomy. The suites have fireplaces and jacuzzi tubes with partial ocean view. Nice to open window at night and hear the ocean.

    5
    « Wonderful property »

Wonderful low-rise property! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and just a short walk to the beach. The hot breakfast they provide is amazing! The hotel staff is willing to do whatever they can to make sure your stay is pleasant.

    4
« Near beach, but little ocean view »

The property is marketed and priced as beach front but isn't. Motel/houses between it and the ocean. Only a few rooms have pocket views. There is a shared path to beach. Fewer breakfast options. Room and amenities were excellent. Quiet location.

    5
« Service with a Smile and Yummys!! »

Every time I have stayed in this hotel, it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is always friendly, well mannered and eager to help in any and all ways possible. The rooms are comfortable and family friendly. You walk in and it already feels like home.

    « Highly Recommend »

WOW- Spent 2 nights here at Best Western Inn at Face Rock. What a fabulous Motel. Staff was very good and professional. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the pool and room. Very clean and was worth the price. I highly recommend this Motel if you are ever in Bandon. Will be glad when they have their new convention building done.

« Good location and nice accommodations. »

Staff was especially nice and the location was right off Rt 101. No views or frills, but value was good and would recommend this hotel based on the nice staff. We were travelling down the coast and leaving at 6am and they packed us a nice to-go pack since we were too early for breakfast.

« Wonderful location, comfy bed & great service »

We love this location. The staff, every single one we encountered, was friendly, helpful and professional. The king bed was by far one of the most comfortable yet, and that is saying something because we are picky! The kids loved the pool. It was refreshing, clean and not over-chlorinated. The breakfast was delicious! The coffee outstanding (really!-again, this from an admitted coffee snob). We loved being able to have such close access to the beach. It was our second stay at this property, we are already looking forward to our next!

    3
    « Only Ok »

This hotel is laid out like a series of duplex units. There is no air conditioning so the unit was stuffy and hot. We slept with the windows open so it did cool down, but there are light poles outside most of the units that have 5 lights on each pole. They shine directly into the open windows. You can either have it dark or have it cool, but not both. About 11 p.m. the hotel across the street started a fireworks display that went on until past midnight. All in all, not a very restful night. I wouldn't stay here again.

    2
    « Coast Trip »

Location is under rated, facilities over rated for value. Not the best Best Western we have stayed at. Kitchenete had two knifes and one fork, carpet was coming up, spider webs in place of screens on sliding glass door, sofa bed had sign Not Operable, etc, Has great potential if updated. Probably best suited for young families.

    5
« Affordable during busy weekend. Awesome value. »

It was a record hot weekend in the valley and pretty close to the weekend, I was able to book this hotel at half the price of anywhere else I looked on the coast. Which means they don't price gauge. The rooms were pretty darn amazing - 2 bathrooms, separate bedroom, view, hot tub in room, fireplace, and lots of extras for $200. You just can't beat that. Plus quick access to the most amazing beaches on Oregon's coast. We've stayed here a few times and I'm always pleased.

    3
    « Disappointed »

My fiancé and I got married on the beach nearby and we were excited for our stay here in a suite. Not only could we not check in on time but had to wait nearly an hour which caused a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration on our special day. Would love to recommend because the location but service was not quite what I had hoped. I don't understand why on a fully booked Saturday night the most expensive suites are left until after 4pm to start cleaning!

    5
« Great Place in Bandon, OR »

This is a Top 10 Best Western. Location close enough to the ocean to walk. Breakfast was great. An older review said the breakfast area is too small, but if it was then, it is NOT too small now. Lots of room, tables, a variety of food items. This is a great place to stay in Bandon!

    4
    « Excellent Customer Service! »

Very nice complimentary breakfast. Very quiet with great amenities (pool, spa, business center, laundry). They allowed us to check in early and provided information on where to eat and things to do while in Bandon. Very nice grounds and EXCELLENT customer service. Everyone greeted us and employees seemed happy.

    5
« First time traveler to Bandon »

We were very pleasantly surprised by our room in Bandon! It's always hard to know what place to stay when you are trying to choose a room on-line, but we loved the fireplace and the hot tub that was provided in this suite. Everything was clean and exactly as described when I booked. It would have been great to have an oceanfront room, but there is a view from the balcony and plenty of places to explore the beach if you choose.

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

Excellent hotel situated on the edge of Bandon. Lovely room and excellent breakfast couldn't ask for more. Good restaurants available in the old town. The beach is just across the road. The Face Rock area is great for rock pooling at low tide.

    5
    « Superb! »

Pros: Super friendly staff. Great location to what seemed like a private beach!! Pet friendly. Delicious free hot breakfast. Great wifi. Cons: hairball in pool - gross! If I could rate this a 4.75 I would. I don't think it deserves a 4 but not quite a perfect 5 either.

  • 5
« Walking distance to a beach access »

The accommodations exceeded our expectations! Dog Friendly and located across the street from the beach. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of foods in a private dinning room for hotel guests. We would definitely return and stay longer.

    4
« Perfect for a night or two stopover. »

My two children, the family dog and I all landed here at the last minute as a respite from the fog while camping on the coast and visiting family. This is a great dog-friendly, family-oriented hotel that is close to the beach and downtown Bandon. Though the hotel shows signs of wear and tear, the room was clean and comfortable, the pool and spa were spotless, and the full breakfast was served in a big cozy wood paneled room with a fireplace that made us feel at home. The staff were friendly and helpful and they even had treats for the dog at check in. I would definitely stay here again.

    5
« Nice hotel passing through Bandon »

We are so glad we selected this hotel in Bandon for just one night as we traveled up the Oregon Coast. The hotel rooms are very large and roomy. We were on the second floor so we even had vaulted ceilings and a deck. The bed was one of the most comfortable out of all the hotels we stayed in on our road trip. There is a short path across the street to the beach. The breakfast is served in a nice spacious room offering everything from waffles to oatmeal, eggs, sausage, etc. Consider this hotel if staying in Bandon!

    5
« Great hotel in Bandon, OR »

I gave you a very good review for your company even though I did not use Trip Advisor. You might have better luck getting people to do these reviews if you reduced the required number of characters needed.

    « Across the beach »

We stayed one night - less than 12 hours - on our way down the coast. We booked the last King suite and the last room they had. We didn't have a need for the suite and wouldn't pay $240+ for one at this location, but we didn't want to drive any further that night. The carpet was stained and the unit as a whole needs updating. But it was relatively clean and in a good location. The breakfast was ok - we've had better at other BW's. The beach is across the street and is beautiful.

    1
« Better choices in town! Don't stay here. »

Our check in was friendly enough. The room smelled horrible ...like years of pet never cleaned up after. Carpets were stained. Thought windows would air out room....no such luck. Front desk response was that it is tough for housekeepers to keep up. ? Pet owners pay an extra fee for having a pet. We, like all guests expect and deserve a clean room, free of odors and free of stains. Breakfast staff was rude. Management had no reaction to complaints given. Perhaps some of the rooms are ok. But the staff alone makes me suggest you go else where.

    5
« Wonderful, caring, helpful desk staff! »

I didn't get to actually stay at the Best Western, but I called in a sheer panic in tears because of a horrible experience with a crappy Motel 6 in Gold Beach who took our money and turned us away due to a reservation process problem. I had driven for hours and was exhausted. Tessa at the front desk didn't have any vacancies but she tried very hard to help us find last minute lodging. She was so sweet and kind to me, understanding that I had kids with me and we were exhausted. Her sheer presence was so reassuring. She deserves the utmost kudos and respect for going above and beyond in customer service!!! Great job, Tessa!

    4
    « Very Nice »

The rooms were quiet - good insulation. Near a really nice beach though not right on the beach. We had booked a really awful hotel in Coos Bay and were really happy to find this Best Western as an alternative.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Very nice place to stay for the family with the friendly staff, great amenities. Awesome breakfast, short walk to the beach. Pet friendly rooms are a must and they even greet your dog with treats. Which is why we stay here every time we come to Bandon.

    5
« Kudos to the Staff! »

We stay at Best Westerns when we travel once per month and additional times for leisure. The Face Rock staff came to the rescue when we needed lodging at the last minute. We have never been treated so well and with such a caring and genuine attitude. Check in staff and kitchen staff went over the top to ensure we had what we needed as weary travelers. What a comforting experience.

    « Perfect for a little RR »

We are staying in the jacuzzi suit with a kitchenette. A master bedroom with bathroom tv, desk. The room includes a fold out couch and fire place. This is a great room with a beautiful view. We love the short walk to the beach and location many interesting rock formations close to check out. The rooms show a little beach wear and tear but nothing serious. Love the staff friendly happy and helpful.

    4
    « Very Nice Value »

Across from the water with a walk to beach access.Very good full complimentary breakfast.Amazing view if you drive your car to old town just a few minutes away via shore road.Quite far away from Bandon Dunes golf courses. The Inn is situated in a very quiet area and has a lot of free parking and nice lobby

    5
« Away from the madding crowd »

Our recent stay at the BW Inn at Face Rock has only served to make us want to return. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff could not have been more gracious and made us feel right at home. The morning breakfast was one of the best we've had in some time. We hope to get back there in the Spring.

    5
    « Awesome Location »

We stayed at the Best Western Inn at Face Rock, Bandon, Oregon. It was like no other BW property we had stayed. It was like a coastal lodging property. It was very clean and staff was great and knowledgeable about the area. We loved the path walk down to the ocean.

    5
« Comfortable, clean spacious rooms »

Think that this BW is a step above some of their other facilities. We arrived early evening on a very foggy day in November very challenging drive as visibility was almost nil. However it was evident the area was lovely and across the street from the ocean. The grounds were very nice and well kept. The room had good facilities.

    4
« A quiet, peaceful setting on the coast. »

What a good choice this was for our "hotel night" during a camping trip. Perched on a bluff our room had a partial view of the ocean from its very private balcony. The hotel is surrounded by fields and is especially well suited for pets. Our queen suite had two full baths and a comfortable bed. It would greatly benefit from the skills of an interior decorator but oh well, the view out the window more than made up for the interior lack of charm.

    5
« Great hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfast »

My husband and I stay at this hotel when visiting the local wildlife park. We just love this hotel. Breakfast is wonderful and the staff is amazing. Bed is comfortable. This is probably our favorite Best Western hotel.

    5
    « Family Memorial »

Both the owner and the manager went out of their way to make our family memorial visit extra special, and each were right there helping with breakfast each morning, even! Their care and attention were top notch, and All the staff gets high marks for great customer service. We had people in from across the country, and we would definitely stay here again!

    5
« Lovely hotel with an easy short walk to the beautiful beach. »

Front desk staff was warm and welcoming. Very nice room with front and back door! Decor was nice. Parking near our room. Nice amenities. Great breakfast. We enjoyed a quiet and worry-free stay. Highly recommend!

    2
« Traveling thru oregon coast »

Unfortunately I would not recommend this place. There is no real ocean view from most rooms, no screens so Flys can come in, dirty carpets and entrys...the front office area upon arrival is clean organized so its misleading. The rooms maybe just need updating or a good clean but for the price (over 200.00 ) not worth it. If just passing thru and was 100.00 maybe , but definitely need to make improvements.

  • 4
    « Quiet location. »

Clean quiet hotel steps from the beach. "Suite" room a bit of overkill unless you want a large jacuzzi tub in your living room. Very helpful, friendly staff. Beach provides miles of walking, beachcombing. Ask for upper floor room and skip the jacuzzi suite.

    4
« Best Western Face Rock, Oregon »

Lovely property and comfortable room. We did arrive late, but we were unable to reach the front desk to tell them that the air conditioning wasn't working. It was a warm evening. Very near Face Rock if you are interested in photography. Great breakfast--really good sausages.

    4
« Good place to stay, beach access. »

Room was a food size. Upstairs in the units accessed from side street parking in evening can be an issue during popular peak season. Our units bathroom was not clean enough first night (ick long black hairs on floor) but management willing to make amends. Everything was very clean after that. TV with couch to sit and watch if you wish.... Nice little balcony with chairs available to sit outside. Handy for dog to get some air as only access was from second door of room. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, meats, biscuits and gravey plus the other usual items. Staff was very friendly and willing to chat. Anything needed was provided quickly! There is an easy private walkway down to the beach to enjoy the surf. All in all a pleasant three days in Bandon.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

We stayed in a pet friendly room because we were traveling with our little Shi Tziu and it was very clean, couldn't even tell it was a pet friendly room it was so clean! Our whole experience there was great, from the room, the full breakfast and the availability to the beach. Will be staying there again.

    5
    « Excellent »

This hotel is wonderful. I do wish they had more king suites for dog owners, they only have 2. We stayed in a queen room, with 2 queen beds, upstairs with a balcony. The balcony was nice because we could open the balcony door and the dogs could walk in and out and see what was going on. Downstairs rooms do not have an enclosed balcony. The grounds are very well kept. The walk to the beach, very easy - no stairs thank goodness! The breakfast was very good. Fresh, and hot. The ladies in the breakfast area were very friendly. There are no DVD players in the room, but you can borrow one from the front office. The beds are very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    5
    « Beautiful at a great price »

The staff is so helpful. Our room was great with a separate living room and a real fire. You will be glad you stay here. I love having hotel beach access. They even had almond milk. It is thoughtful for people who have milk allergies.

    5
    « Beautiful Bandon »

The hotel is not ocean front but is in an excellent setting with easy access to the beach. The hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly and we'd stay here again. The town itself is wonderful, we ate at Edgewaters and had a great meal looking over the river.

« One of the better Best Westerns we've found »

My family stayed at BW Face Rock last week, and it was perfect for our needs. The room was clean, plenty big enough for two adults and two kids, within walking distance to the beach and provided a pool and breakfast. The beds were comfortable, and we didn't hear any noise from surrounding rooms, which is very high on my list for a hotel. It was one of the best nights of sleep I've had at a hotel. There's a pool and "spa pool" (Jacuzzi) in the main area of the hotel, and it was open until 11 pm. After a long, wonderful day exploring Bandon, we had a nice swim before bed. Breakfast the next morning was good too - lots of different options, and it looked like the waffles and sausages were being cooked fresh as people came in to the dining area. There was a waffle maker and plenty of the usual breakfast fare as well. The path to the beach is right across the street, an easy walk. My only complaint was with the bathroom. The tub had a bit of a drainage issue (not bad, but definitely noticeable after two showers) and you had to really turn the sink handle hard to get water. Apart from that, I'd highly recommend this hotel.

    4
    « Great Service »

The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was fantastic tons of options and fresh. We stayed in a suite and it was clean and tidy and even had a small view of the sea. Just a really nice place.

    4
« good value, great service »

clean, quiet, comfortable, relaxing. There is not an oceanview from most rooms, but the beach is a 5 minute walk across the road. It was very windy when we were there, so a room towards the back with a protected patio was nice. indoor pool and spa and full breakfast.

« Walking distance to beach!! »

Wonderful hotel off the beaten path and within walking distance to the beach. Next time we visit the Oregon coast this will be our destination town! Loved Bandon, Oregon. Staff was very friendly and helpful with information about Old Town Bandon!

« Very Nice Place to Stay »

Above all else the employees really understand customer service! They went above and beyond to help us many times. The place was clean and VERY nice. The pool and hot tub were super clean. The grounds were well kept. Would stay there again.

    5
    « Love this place »

We loved the grounds and the rooms were so nice and comfortable! It was nice to walk out the door to a lawn, and to see and hear the ocean waves! Breakfast was fresh and very yummy! We would definitely stay here again when we vacation the Oregon Coast!

    « Vacation »

Very nice place to stay. Close to downtown Bandon Oregon. Room was very comfortable. Great dinner restaurants nearby. The breakfast offered at the Inn was very good. Plenty of food for everyone. I would definitely stay there again. The coast line was beautiful. Recommend the Edgewater Restaurant for dinner.

    5
    « Beautiful location! »

Staff is top notch and amenities are great! View was awesome and walk down to the beach was short and sweet! Parking was close to room and the bungalow style rooms made it all the worthwhile. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Bandon.

    3
    « Nice Location »

Great location and buildings are apartment style; good location with beach access to Bandon Beach; Excellent service as far as staff being cordial and nice; although the property is old and dated, it's sufficient for enjoying the town of Bandon; no clear view of the ocean; outlets are old as I tried to plug in my charger and it just fell out; very strict with check out time as I had a conf. call to take between 10:30 am and noon and they did not allow a late check out without a $40 charge; I ran across the same issue with another Best Western and I had no issue with the late checkout with no charge

    5
    « Anniversary stay »

Spoke to Sean over the phone upon making reservations. He was very helpful and shared his area knowledge. Upon checking in we met Larry, and he was very friendly, courteous and ensured we had the best stay. Nice room beautiful view, great amenities. If you ever have the chance, stay in #201! Dinner suggestions, scenic points of interest were very helpful. We will make this our annual, if not more frequent, stay.

    5
« The best staff I have had the pleasure to stay with!! »

I am a Diamond member through another chain but the hotel they had in the area was not what we needed. I took a chance and stayed at a place I have never stayed before and was over joyed from our stay. The staff was by far the best I have ever seen. The private access to the beach was incredible. On top of all that the roses out front had a great smell. So needless to say we stopped and smelled the roses!!

    4
    « A nice place to stay »

Both check-in and check-out were quite effortless. All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We were given a number of choices of rooms which we appreciated. We were assigned to room 216, which was an upstairs room with a peekaboo ocean view. (Mind you, rooms on this side do face the parking lot, so if you are in a downstairs room you're not going to enjoy the view.) The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor is sadly dated. (I haven't seen white furniture in a room in a long time.) The major problem we had with the room was ventilation. The weekend we were there it was up into the low 70's in Bandon - which is actually warm for Bandon. Between the heat and western orientation of the building; our room was hot and stuffy. Even with both the bedroom and bathroom windows open, the room never really cooled off. Individual room heat pumps that provided both heating and air conditioning would be a better choice than the electric wall heater provided. The Best Western is probably the most expensive hotel in Bandon, so it may not seem like the best value. However, they do have more amenities than other hotels such a year-round indoor pool, whirlpool tub, and included breakfast.

    4
« Great Location, Very Nice Surprise »

This is probably one of the nicest Best Westerns I've been to. The location is great, right across the street from the beach. The rooms were nicer than the average Best Western, very good looking hotel overall. Service was excellent, couldn't ask for anything more. Breakfast was good too. We had a very nice stay here, would stay here again without question.

    « Very nice Hotel »

Coming from Portland , driving south, got tired of driving, saw the sign for this Hotel and I went for it. Very nice reception, Steven in the front desk told me how to save some money and that was very nice. Loved the room and bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels for an small family. Didn't like the fact that doesn't have a restaurant or bar but the problem was solved , again by Steven, by printing a little paper with all the available restaurants in the area with phone numbers and some of them have delivery. Excellent I hope I have the receptionist's name right. Nice free breakfast too.

    « Love this hotel »

The hotel has great beach access. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to give me a great experience. It is pet friendly. It has suites with in room hot tubs. All in all it was a great place to stay, and I will return.

« Pleasant property in a nice location with some partial sea views »

This property is a little dated but otherwise quite pleasant. We had both rooms upgraded to "suites" as a Best Western Diamond member. More like semi self catering units with bedroom and sitting room with kitchenette and fridge and two bathrooms (sitting room could be a second bedroom with sofa bed) A slightly obscured balcony view of the sea. The hotel has a private beach access through the sand dunes but pretty difficult to walk through the deep sand. Nice beach walk beyond once you get to wet sand. The rooms furnishings are somewhat dated but OK for three star experience and price. Our room smelt a bit musty but other room OK. Able to park outside room (most are set away from the main reception. Good laundry room available (take plenty of quarters). Breakfast following day completely self service on paper plates but decent selection of hot dishes such as scrambled eggs, hash browns and sausages and all HOT for a change

« nice motel with everything »

I am not normally a motel person but wanted to be by the ocean. this is not on the ocean but across the street. There is a path and private access. We had a second story room and could sort of see the water. The room had a huge double granite sink outside the toilet/shower area. there was a fridge and microwave plus a balcony. Typical continental BW breakfast which is more than adequate. The staff was excellent!

We recently stayed at Face Rock in Bandon, Or. We were met with a fantastic receptionist who immediately noticed that our rate was over charging us and adjusted it without us asking. She was friendly and genuinely cared about how our stay was going. The hotel was clean, quiet, and steps away from the ocean. The "country breakfast" was amazing. You won't find a better one. I highly recommend Face Rock.

« Great place to stay »

It's an amazing location with quick access to the beach and downtown. The room was clean and spacious - wifi was good. The people working here are nice and helpful with lots of local knowledge. Breakfast is okay - nice that it is included and will fill you up, but check out others in town as well on your stay.

« Beautiful Setting Quiet and Close to the Ocean. »

A five minute walk to the beach. Clean and pet friendly. Full breakfast in dinning room. Service was friendly. Family friendly and reasonable price. Free parking and lots of areas for dogs. Very quiet setting. The grounds are spacious. Wild turkeys are on the property. Lots of wild life in area.

« Great location and wonderful rooms! »

We drove from Napa to Portland on vacation and stayed at a different hotel/motel room every night so we had quite a variety over the 7 nights. My husband and I both agreed that this place was our favorite! The front desk lady (forgot her name) was so helpful in finding a restaurant for us pretty late at night and gave us tons of local info to help us navigate as much as we could in the area for a limited stay. The breakfast staff was very accommodating and friendly. To get to the beach, you just walk out from the entrance onto a well maintained path and it is a very short walk to the beach. I had it all to myself at 7:42 in the morning (low tide) and walked all the way out to the water and put my feet in---it was incredibly cold but clear. I truly enjoyed the experience of being by myself on a beach (I am from New Jersey!). It is one of the prettiest beaches I have ever seen. It is funny, but I too was 'dive-bombed' by two black birds near the crossing to the path!! I saw the review from someone else who had the same experience. Bandon would be a town we could come back to and still find much more to do. The Best Western had great prices, perfect location (right next to Face Rock) and roomy, well appointed rooms. OH!! I forgot to mention that the bed was so comfortable that I tried finding the tag on the mattress so I could buy one---I am going to call the hotel because we both agreed it was perfect!!!

« Inn at Face Rock »

Excellent staff and clean rooms. The woman at check in was very helpful in getting us exactly what kind of room we asked for. The breakfast in the morning had a good choice of warm and cold foods. We really appreciated their private beach access directly across the road and there were no stairs.

    « Best in Bandon »

Great stay! The property is beautiful and very welcoming. The proximity to the beach is very nice, except for a dive-bombing, nesting black bird that terrorized my sister! Shades of The Birds movie! The room was very clean and the bed and pillows a bsolutely divine. No AC, but the ocean breeze kept the room comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee good. The staff was very helpful in directing us to shops and a marvelous dinner on the bay. I look forward to visiting again and have fond memries of Bandon as a whole,. It is a lovely, clean resort town.

    « Wonderful Staff »

While the Inn at Face Rock is both comfortable and clean, the real standout is the wonderful staff. They were warm and very helpful when we were checking us in and out. The complementary breakfast was surprisingly good too.

« Great Hotel and Staff »

This hotel is located across the street from the beach in the idyllic town of Bandon. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The facility is well maintained with spacious rooms. The suites with the fireplaces and Jacuzzi are great for that romantic weekend or when you just want to pamper yourself after a long day.

    5
« Predictably Comfortable and Nice »

We have stayed here twice and like the easy access to the beach and accommodations for our two small dogs. The property is well cared for and the breakfast is the best I've had in years. Good variety and great quality.

    5
    « Comfortable! »

The beds were wonderful and we had plenty of quality pillows. Plenty of easily accessible electric outlets for all our devices. The rooms are neat and spacious - not overcrowded with furniture. Breakfast was terrific! I would recommend staying here.

« Clean room, nice grounds, good location »

Our room was nice and clean, although it was a little dated. The location was superb, though. It is off the busy street, on a quiet road just across from a beautiful beach. We loved it and hated to leave. Breakfast was excellent, including sausages, eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit and bread. Staff was very nice. I would stay there again.

« Great duet, face rock and Best Western »

Good accomodations, smiling and courteous reception and every hotel employee we Faced during our stay gave us a smile and welcome us to Bandon. Hot breakfast is really hot. Down town attractions are really close and are worth experiencing

    « Exceeded my expectations... »

The staff at this hotel were wonderful at every touch point from check in at the front desk with Sean, check out with Nikki to the ladies who ran the very tasty breakfast buffet--all very welcoming! Even the female maintenance staff who answered our questions about the out door hot tub and other property options, was so friendly, patient and customer focused. We stayed in one of the suites which was very spacious, had a very comfortable bed and sleeper sofa. Nice bath amenities and a good shower. Good location to beach & very accessible with a few hundred yard walk on a nice path right outside hotel front entrance. I would definitely stay at this property if I return to Bandon.

« Best of Best Westerns »

Gorgeous manicured grounds with spacious villa type accommodations scattered around the property. We had a pet friendly room which was super clean and comfortable. Loads of grassy areas for throwing the ball for Fido to catch. Breakfast room was super, everything available and lots of choices including 4/5 hot dishes. Lovely staff, and clean clean tables and surfaces, The beach is spectacular and after a lazy breaks fat....walked our doc for hours. Have no hesitation in recommending this gem of a hideaway.

Great motel very clean and spacious enjoyed the short walk on the beach trail and complimentary breakfast was also very good! Staff was pleasant and helpful I will recommend and be back to stay again! ??????????????????????????????????

    « Great suite.. »

My husband requested a suite and we were both pleasantly surprised with the room. We had two full size bathrooms with separate closets and the enormous spa was in the living room with a fireplace. The kitchen had a full four burner stove as well. This is right across the street from the beach. And what an awesome beach it was!! We spent hours walking the beach and enjoying all the sights we had never seen before. Even came upon a baby seal. It was an amazing experience... Full breakfast was included. Staff was very friendly.

    « never disappoints »

Great quiet location away from the highway, always clean and good value for the money, across the street from the beach at Face Rock. Always love our stay here, and Bandon is a great little town to explore. Near the beach horseback riding, too, which is a real bonus for us.

    « Peaceful, very quiet »

We spent 3 nights at BW Inn at Face Rock, the quiet at night was wonderful! Beds were comfortable, staff helpful and breakfast area was clean and food tasty. The shower head was hard to reach to change settings for me at 5ft 4in, but hot water plentiful. The only thing we would change was the curtains covering door to parking lot. First night, outside lights were TOO much! Five large led type glass bulbs at each door and many in parking lot...felt like an airport runway! Second and third night we used the end of bed cover and clothes pins to cover door completely and slept well.

    « Bandon--Nice restaurants and expansive beaches »

The grounds are well-kept and lots of lawn area, which is especially nice if traveling with a pet. I chose this inn as it is off the main highway and has easy walking access to the beach. The room was comfortable and quiet. Had free wi-fi, refrigerator and microwave so bringing food back to the room was convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast offered more than I was expecting with a hostess and breakfast staff on duty greeting the guests.

    5
    « Lovely hotel & location »

Bandon is a sleepy town and this was a stop on our road trip down the 101. I can't fault this hotel. The grounds are stunning as for the beach its pure Oregon coast just stunning. The area was quiet which was great as we needed rest. Check in was quick and simple and the room was huge! The free breakfast offered food for all tastes with a large cosy dining area. We arrived on a Sunday please note many of the restaurants in the area are closed on a Sunday! We grabbed a sandwich and headed back to the room which was fine as it is such a nice place. Okay this isn't the Ritz but I just can't fault anything we loved our stay so 5 stars.

    5
    « Lovely »

A lovely quiet and beautiful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of 101. Room was spacious and clean and the bed was one of the best I've slept in. The staff all very friendly, outgoing, helpful and professional. I actually am very impressed with the Best Western chain, as it seems to be very consistent and weary traveler friendly. The complimentary breakfast was actually very good, and had a number of selections.

    « Stay in Bandon »

This hotel is quite, away from the road traffic, across from the beach but not beachfront. The staff is excellent, however the rooms a bit worn and the walls are Very thin...The pool was nice,a typical Best Western. They could use some new beds.I really did like the layout as it looks like townhouses instead of a multi floored building, however once there was someone upstairs I heard there every move.

    5
« The only place we stay when in Bandon »

This is a beautiful property. The rooms are first rate. While the ocean view is limited there is private access to the beach. We saw wild turkeys from our balcony on our first morning there. We hope to return several times this year

    5
    « Great location »

we spent 2 nights here, wish we had more time. Welcome was excellent and although we arrived early our room was ready and we were able to check in. Room was spotless. Ground floor with parking right outside the door. Pool and hot tub were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Ideal location for photographing the coast. Coin laundry was great.

« Fantastic Place To Stay »

We sold our home & were moving from California to Bandon, Oregon we needed a hotel that would accommodate our two Labradors we needed to stay for 10 days. We preferred bottom floor. The reviews were excellent for this place so we called. Larry Cunningham answered the phone he was extremely nice & accommodating we knew we made the right choice. Upon arriving the room was clean & perfect. A back door from room opened upon a green space perfect for taking the dogs out. Hotel had dog bags to use to pick up after them. Buffet Breakfast cooked by Jeff or Sandra who were just wonderful along with Patti getting anything you need. Housekeepers & maintenance staff were great. Everyone was extremely nice & friendly and they loved dogs. I can't say enough how great they are. There was a path to the beach. I would definitely recommend this place. Glad we stayed here.

    « Absolutely perfect »

Absolutely loved both times staying in the suite!! And the staff is wonderful!!! Bandon is a great place to travel and the best western the place to stay. And get great views every time we've stayed there. Deffinately going back and getting another room soon!

    5
« Perfect, inside and out »

Everything was perfect - from the staff to the queen suite to the free breakfast and of course having the ocean just a (very) short walk away, I had a amazing time! I picked up a nice bottle of wine and soaked my worries away in the outdoor hot tub which was a great end to a long day. I definitely will stay there again, hopefully sooner than later!

    5
« Great staff, facility, and location »

I can't say enough about the great service. Everyone from check-in to checkout works to make your stay exceptional. The suites with the fireplace and hot tubs are a great way to relax after a long day. I recommend this place to all my friends.

« Nice room nice staff good breakfast lame manager »

I stayed here for about a month. The staff was very helpful. The room was nice, but a little dank initially (but it is the Oregon coast), however after I aired it out it was fine. Room and area is much nicer than BW in Coos Bay. It is more of a resort. I would like to make a special note of the fact that when I initially checked in I tried several times to contact the manager about possibly honoring my BW Rewards privileges, but she was far too busy to ever return my calls. Thankfully the helpful staff made amends where she fell short. I will stay there again if I am in there area.

    5
    « Nice property »

This property is laid out in a series of cottages. The grounds are lovely and the front desk personnel were all wonderful. The breakfast area is very pleasant with a cozy fire in the corner. The beach is accessed by a footpath thru some beautiful vegetation. Had a great night's sleep in the king sized bed.

    5
    « Inn at FaceRock »

We had an awesome stay, the weather was perfect, the beach was perfect, as well. Really miss the restaurant, Bandon Bill's, and the golf course. Old town, Bandon is great to visit, shop and great food.

    5
« Relaxed in the king suite »

Bandon is one of the better places we've found to enjoy the Oregon coast. There are scenic walks and a quaint downtown with some good restaurants. The combination of an unexpectedly full night, our Best Western Rewards status, and Sean at the front desk's helpfulness gave us an upgrade to a king suite room. It was spacious, quiet, and convenient to take advantage of two bathrooms for my wife and I to get ready in parallel. Breakfast was standard with a plus being real eggs and a minus of no bananas. It was a short walk to the beach. We had a tasty dinner at the nearby Lord Bennett's while watching the sun set behind the sea stacks.

    2
« Small Cramped Room & Uncomfortable Bed »

Room with two queen beds was extremely cramped, had to move a chair every time to pass by the foot of the beds or to enter/exit the room. One of the beds needed to be replaced as it had a dip in it. Very uncomfortable night. Free breakfast was disappointing for us...eggs that don't taste like egg, and sub par coffee. Had we stayed another night we would not have eaten there again. Staff was very unhelpful and rather dismissive when we tried to switch to a different room, so we decided to take our business elsewhere and checked out. There were plenty of other rooms available at the BW, so we know that was not the issue.

    4
« Good breakfast, comfortable room. »

Our preference is to be beach side, but no availability, so this was next best. Tiny view of the ocean between the cars at the motel across the road. However, there is great beach access an easy walk across the street. Breakfast was good, shower head great, bed comfortable.

« Home away from Home!! »

I don't travel for work much; however, this time I was away for 3 weeks straight. The staff at this establishment in addition to the level of professionalism, welcoming attitude and level cleanliness made my 3 weeks much more manageable. The location is great for both business and fun; it is secluded yet exposed to all the beauty that Bandon has to offer. My wife and family joined me for week 3 and we had some pretty awesome memories that will last a life time. The staff is truly incredible. I can't say enough about how friendly and attentive they were to our family. Its almost like they take a happy pill and it lasts the whole time of their shift, lol. (Management and the Owners are doing it right at this Hotel) I truly enjoyed them and called them my friends at the end of the 3 weeks. I only hope they think of me the same way. If you want Great service, clean room and an overall great experience look no further!!!

« A favorite on the southern Oregon Coast »

The Inn at Face Rock is one of our favorite places to stay when we visit the southern Oregon Coast. It's quiet, comfortable, and across the street from the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The last time we stayed here, the hot water stopped working in our building, and they immediately moved us to another equally comfortable room. They even discounted the bill because of the "inconvenience." I didn't ask; they just did it. This is the only time that we have encountered any issues with our room here during our many stays. The hotel serves a hot breakfast every day, which is included in the room rate. The Internet access is fast and reliable.

« Does not live up to Best Western reputation »

Our check in time was 4 pm. We tried to check in early at 3:15 but were told we were not able to. That is understandable. However we were further informed that our room would not be ready on time either. We were told to call around 4 to see if the room was ready. We tried calling at 4:05 and there was no answer. We had to wait until 5 pm to finally get into our room, NOTE: while we were waiting other reservations were housed on time. Since we had to wait for the room to cleaned, I expected a clean room. Overall it was clean but the toilet still has TP in the bowl. As if someone used the toilet and did not flush or used TP to wipe it down. Advised staff of issue on departure. We did not mention anything at the time because we did not want to have to wait longer for another room. Mentioned the issue upon check out. Said they were sorry. I called Best Western Customer Service on Monday. They gave me rewards points. This is a moot effort since I do not want to return to their hotels. Talked with General Manager Claudia [--] on Wednesday. She said she did not know about issue then suddenly remembers she had a message about my complaint. I asked about some compensation for the poor performance of the staff and my reservation not being on time. She gave a polite too bad so sad. Said since I already received the Government rate there would be nothing more to be done. This place seems to not care about efficiency and a proper welcoming to the hotel. This is not eh Best Western I recall from prior stays at their hotels.

    5
« Very nice quiet place »

We have stayed here before a few times over the last 10 years. Always a nice clean and quiet place to stay at that is a ways off the main road. The surrounding area is very relaxing. Very nice fine dinning restaurant that is an easy 1 mile (or less) drive away.

« Cottage style pet friendly hotel with great beach access »

Loved staying at this hotel. The hotel is laid out in little cottages of about 6 units each with I thought made it feel more like being at the coast. Dog friendly and great outdoor grass area for dogs. Complimentary hot breakfast was excellent. Pool was clean and good temperature. Nice beach access path as well (no beach views from the hotel fyi). Great wifi (we were even able to stream Netflix for our ipads). Wish we were still there...

    5
    « Always a great hotel »

We are regular guests at this hotel and are always pleased. The property is always clean and fresh. Eileen at check-in was wonderful and is the epitome of Best Western service. Larry at check-out was also very nice. We remember him from previous visit and he still upholds fantastic customer service. We can't wait to return!

    « great staff »

    « Spring Break »

Had a terrific stay at the Best Western in Bandon. However, upon our first night stay, the hide abed had gross stuff in the sheets so we had to strip it and change it ourselves. It was also very uncomfortable. The overall amenities of our hotel room were very nice though. I was quite impressed with the room for the great price we paid. We will definitely stay here again.

    « Best Stay EVER »

Spring break mini-vacation at Bandon, Oregon. What a wonderful surprise. Best Western Inn at Face Rock had all the amenities that we were looking for. The staff was AWESOME, the rooms very very nice, the breakfast was incredible. A short walk to the beach, a swimming pool and spa, internet in the room, cable tv for those times when you wear yourself out and, for those so inclined, wine and ice cream available for purchase. Who could ask for more?

« Make this your choice »

There are so many choices out there, you will be happy if you make this Hotel your choice. The customer service from Liz, Larry, Eileen and Claudia was excellent. The hotel was clean and quaint, the location is beautiful. I have not slept that well in a very long time. The staff was so gracious and accommodating, they probably would have tucked me in and read a story if I had asked. Sweet dreams...

    « Great Stay »

Excellent Hotel and friendly staff! Breakfast is outstanding! We used the swimming pool and hot tub and found both to be very clean and convenient to use. Very close to the beach with beach access just across the street! Highly recommend this hotel for those staying in Bandon who want a quality experience.l

    « Beautiful location »

This is a lovely hotel right on the ocean. The rooms are very comfortable and you can see the ocean from the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and as the weather was not good- there were 70 mph winds, we were not able to enjoy the surroundings. However, we would certainly stay ere again.

    4
« Comfortable room - great location across the road from the beach »

Friendly staff and very comfortable room, even without advance reservations. We were here in early spring but I'm sure it's wonderful in the summer with the beach just across the road. Good breakfast and quiet rooms.

    5
    « Great location »

I stayed at this hotel the first I moved to Bandon and have been so busy I am just now writing a review. The staff was exceptionally friendly and I was given a great rate on a Queen Suite, the breakfast was pretty good with pleanty of options, the room I stayed in was down some stairs but was clean and decently decorated with a simple monochromatic color pallet so it didn't appear too terribly dated. I still can't believe this site is only a 2 star Hotel. With pleanty of acreage for pets and a campus style lay out the whole stay was pleasantly quiet.

    5
« THANK YOU-great staff and pet friendly »

Such a great experience. Truly pet friendly place to stay. Our dog got lots of loving from an amazing staff. They put a new meaning to pet friendly. Special thanks to Colleen, Liz and Larry for making our first stay memorable. After dropping the boys off to golf, they let me stay past official checkout. We will be back. Highly recommend.

« Friendliest staff in Bandon!! »

Love this hotel! I have been to Bandon several times on business. I was scheduled by my office to work at a different hotel, but I stayed at Inn at Face Rock instead because my past stays have been so great! Great staff and very clean rooms!

    2
« VIEW TO SEE ALL NIGHT »

See the beautiful view all night long because you will not be able to sleep in the horrible bed with the panoramic vistas. The beach is fantastic the room was down in the depths of the dungeon. The bell man told us the unit was privately owned as a condominium. Seems like the bed would have been perfect if that were the case.

    5
« Awesome place to stay! »

Passing thru Bandon and needed a place to stay. Saw the signs from the highway and followed them a few miles to the hotel and I am so glad I did! Great rate, friendly staff, very clean large rooms. And the breakfast is a real breakfast with everything home made, no frozen waffles or microwave eggs here! Indoor pool and hot tube too! We will definitely be back!

    « Loved this place! »

Stayed here in November on our way to Portland. Best Best Western Hotel ever! The gentleman at check in was wonderful, made you feel like they really wanted your business, and gave me directions to the beach access across the street. The room was so cute, and very clean. I can't wait to come back again!

These are 4-plexes, two tops, two bottoms. Very comfy. Private access to beach across the street. Nice full breakfast included. An indoor pool and hot tub (great for kids) and another OUTSIDE hot tub that the kids don't know about!! Great for adults!! This place was great.

    « One Night stay »

First stay, the weather was terrible, the room was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond to make the stay perfect and it was. Everything was clean and worked! We plan to stay here each time we travel the coast. Breakfast was really good with great choices.

    « Beautiful Place »

I have stayed in fancier places but none that was more accommodating and with beautiful scenery than this one. Our trip to the coast was made perfect by staying in a really nice motel. From the young lady at check-in to the complentary breakfast made our stay a great sucess. Will stay again.

« Clean and good hotel, great breakfast, no sea view »

Have stayed here twice in the last two months. The hotel is very clean and the suites are excellent for around $120-$130. Book from AAA website if you are a member. The hotel is across the road from the beach (private beach) but most rooms don't have a sea view (the queen suite definitely doesn't have one). There is a hotel across the street which is right at the beach. The breakfast spread is really good and the view from the beach is excellent.

« Great Location for Business or Pleasure »

The location of the Best Western Bandon is exceptional. We could have stayed at several other motels but previous positive results with this chain resulted with us staying at this location. All was good and the staff was extra helpful in satisfying our individual needs and wants.

    5
« Exceptional stay for guests with dogs »

Sprawling lawns provided an excellent locale to exercise our dog. All guests with dogs are assigned rooms in one area, so non-dog guests are spared our comings and goings. Very, very pleasant grounds; nice hot breakfast; very comfortable room.

We're "locals", & frugal, but wanted a special place for our anniversary. Highly recommended.

    « NOVEMBER STAY »

My yearly November road trip was planned for Bandon, Oregon. This hotel is quite quiet and relaxing. Pet friendly too! Room I had had grass surrounding building, perfect for the dog. Beach access is not immediate by nearby. Also, restaurants aren't nearby but what the town has to offer is worth it.

    5
« Great location and very clean »

The hotel was wonderfully located and is maintained well. The room was clean and nice , the bed was adequately comfortable but had plenty of pillows and amenities. The breakfast area was comfortable and presented well.

« An Excellant place to stay »

Very friendly staff. very clean inside and outside, and nice roomy rooms! Beautiful views. The breakfast is your better than average hot breakfast from any hotel I have ever been too. They served everything from waffles(both large and small) to biscuits and gravy! Plus fruits and cereals, juices and muffins. I would recommend this place to anyone taking a trip to Bandon or up the Oregon coast.

    « A nice place to stay »

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not fancy but very clean. Good slection of breakfast items, nicely presented. Suggested Cranberry juice be offered, Bandon is the center of Cranberry production in Oregon. Walking distance to the beach. Pet friendly. Would stay here again.

« Good Hotel, Great staff in Bandon »

Via Google/TripAdvisor we found this Best Western and it turned out to be a good choice. We arrived in the evening and the front desk person was wonderful, very welcoming and delightful, so nice after a long day of traveling up the 101. (We saw her again in the AM helping in the Breakfast area, I think her name was Karoline, she was the best!!) We had our small dog and took a pet friendly room and it was located by the dog area, which was convenient. Rooms were so clean, comfortable beds, good pillows, clean bathrooms, a great place to stay for the evening. I'm sure it would be nice for a longer stay to explore this beach side town. We enjoyed the breakfast before we left in the morning and it was a lot better than some other places that offer breakfast. So thank you for a nice stay!

« Nice hotel, with view, poor manager skills »

We did enjoy our stay while there, the staff was very friendly, really liked the assistant manager. Unfortunately, 4 days after we left, the manager called and hit us with a $250.00 damage charge. When my wife called to find out the details, the manager would not take the call, but let the employee deal with it even when my wife repeatedly asked to talk to the manager. There were no pictures shown us or details on how she came up with the $250.00 charge. We have a small hotel and cabin rental place ourselves and certainly would not have handled a situation like this so poorly. We expect a lot more from a hotel manager.

« Nice place to stay in Bandon, Oregon »

Very friendly and competent staff and very comfortable and clean rooms with short walk to access beach. Breakfast also better than most.Room was extremely clean with microwave, refrigerater, and two doors, (front and side). Roomy vehicle parking areas and we really appreciated the private beach access which made it easy to see beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The only thing we could think of to complain about was the lack of more TV channels but that was not the hotel's fault but rather what was available in this area. All in all would recommend to anyone visiting this part of the Oregon Coast.

    « Unexpected delight »

When doing a fly-drive you know that some hotels are not going to be all that fantastic and so it was with some trepidation that we headed onto the Best Western Inn at Bandon. Well, I have to eat my words and say what a really nice hotel. Rather than having lot's of rooms in one big building, the site is spread out across multiple little clusters of apartment style properties giving a sense of space and quiet. The room we had - a king room - was of a good size and had a balcony. The breakfast included in the price was of a good standard and had plenty of choice. The location is also ideal, just on the outskirts of Bandon so you have to drive past the Face Rock that the hotel takes it's name from. Bandon itself is really nice - old town america - and whilst we there they had their annual Cranberry Hop. This was great fun with lot's of classic car's, farmers market, craft stalls, live music and a parade. A great hotel to stay at in a great place to visit.

« Face Rock -- Bando, Oregon SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL STAY »

From the moment we walked thru the doors until we departed our stay was magical. Ilene and Larry at the reception desk, the wonderful young lady at the breakfast room and each of the guests and staff were all so fully pleasant. The photo online does not do justice to the beauty of this lovely lodging facility. The rooms are perfectly appointed and every detail met. Our 47th wedding anniversary stay with the wonderful folks serving BEST WESTERN at FACE ROCK, Bandon, Oregon was simply perfect. WARNING -- BEWARE OF SPEED TRAPS IN EVERY TINY TOWN ALONG THE WAY, INCLUDING BANDON, BOTH COMING IN FROM THE NORTHEAST, AND DEPARTING TO THE SOUTH. We were very lucky as we observed aggressive traffic stops both day and night in just about every small town in Oregon and California stopping and ticketing holiday tourists for VERY MINOR speed infractions and other moving violations.

    « fantastic staff »

king suite w/view of ocean - large, comfortable, clean with tremendously friendly staff and very good breakfast. If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely stay at this hotel! my daughter loved the pool and we saved a little bit of money using the kitchenette facilities. It was great to have the door wall open and to listen to the sounds of the ocean and forget about work.

    « Nice Stay »

There was nothing special about our room and it really needed updating, but we still had a nice stay. It was very nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach. We enjoyed both sunset and an early morning walk with the birds singing and mist in the air.

« Favorite place on Southern Oregon Coast »

Whenever we are in the Bandon area, this is our go-to spot to stay. Wonderful service from the staff. Always comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is much better than that offered in other comparable cost motels.

« Bandon Face Rock Inn »

We stayed here over a weekend to meet with family for an early Christmas. We were able to get a "deal" rate so we didn't pay the regular full price so it was well worth the stay. we were disappointed that the indoor swimming pool and hot tub were closed for construction and we didn't know it until we got there.

« Great rooms with excellent service »

I stay here on business several times each month. I am always impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. It is across the street from the beach in a very peaceful part of town. Great location for sunset beach walks.

« High Point on Oregon Coast »

Rooms are very comfortable at this BW in Bandon on the Southern Oregon coast. Though not on the beach, the proximity to the roaring surf is close enough to hear it, and there is easy beach access. Breakfast is among the best. I've stayed there before, and I'll stay there again. Next time I hope its not for business so I can stay longer and enjoy the environs a bit more.

    « A lovely spot in a lovely location »

If you're looking for a coastal getaway, Bandon, OR is a great choice. And this Best Western is a great place to stay. We stayed in a King Suite. It included a front room with pull out couch, kitchenette, hot tub, and wood burning fireplace. Our room had an ocean view, but from the layout of the buildings, most do not. However, the hotel has private beach access. The breakfast was free and filling with hot foods in addition to standard continental fare. The staff were gracious. The front desk area sold, wine, beer, and some gift items.

    « Wonderful stay »

Super relaxing, wonderful stay. Indoor pool, big breakfast, and beach access across the street. Staff was extremely knowledgable about the area and very helpful. Great place to stay for families. Will definitely return!

    « We will return »

What an amazingly wonderful property: the staff ? courteous, kind and professional; the property ? beautifully maintained. It's always so nice to come into a comfortable, clean room with very comfortable bedding; the venue ? one of the most magnificent locations on earth. We will be back. We will book a suite in the far south buildings. We will look forward to seeing familiar, friendly faces when we return because I'm sure this property must have a great employee retention rate ? the management is clearly very good. Highly recommended.

    « Great Location »

Friendly staff with a great location. They are located across from the ocean. The view is partially blocked but they have access to the beach through a walking path.Property is attractive and well maintained. Also very quiet. The only draw back is amenities are in separate buildings.

    « you can expect quality - ! »

we stayed in best westerns for 19 out of 21 days in traveling across the country - we loved the comfy beds, extra pillows, free wifi, hot breakfast and staff of every Best Western we stayed at! 20 states in 21 days is a fair amount of Best Westerns!

    « Keep looking »

This hotel was not impressive at all. Our room smelled when we got in it and it was like it was back in the 70's. When we pulled up at the hotel it looked very nice and thought it will be a nice place to stop for the night it did kinda look like apartment buildings behind the office though. It was late and it was dark so we booked and got our room and low and behold open the door and it was awful! I honestly didn't want any of there blankets or sheets on me I had my own thank goodness to lay on. It was gross and would not stay ever again

« Great Visit and Great View »

The king suite was fabulous! It had the best view of the ocean! Fireplace, flat screen tv, two bathrooms, kitchenette to make our own dinner, balcony and great jacuzzi that I loved. Tons of amenities.

    « Face Rock Rocks »

We always stay at Face Rock while in the Bandon area. It is clean, quiet and has a friendly staff. The breakfast is the best we have had. We have two dogs that are accepted and seem to be liked by the guests. We love the setting and the weather. We always feel at home at Face Rock and will continue to stay there.

« One night is not enough »

We stayed in a room facing the ocean. It was July but the weather was cool in the evening so after swimming and spending some time in the hot tub, we enjoyed a nice fire in the fireplace that was in our room. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. So many options to choose from!

« Nice stay in Bandon »

Only negative to this hotel is that it is across the street from the beach so no views from the hotel or any room. There is beach access to get to the beach. Bandon is so beautiful if I returned I would get a hotel, even if of less quality, and have a view of the beach especially at sunset.

    « Happy Customer »

We were very happy to see the upgraded Best Westerns. Will definitely use them more in the future. The rooms were very nice at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was varied and we appreciated the choices. Internet worked well and the rooms were very comfortable.

« Wish I could have stayed more than one night! »

Perfect location across from a scenic beach in Bandon, OR. Delightful property, great restaurant right down the street. Accommodations were fabulous. Never realized a Best Western was so plush and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

    « Easy beach access! »

We loved this hotel. The friendly desk agent was very helpful when we realized I had booked the wrong date. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, pretty good breakfast. You can walk to the beach, and the views there are breath-taking. Totally recommend.

« Great place to visit- wonderful hospitality »

Great place to visit. I wish we could have stayed longer. The swimming pool is just beautiful! During check-in we received the best hospitality!!! I love that that they are pet friendly and offered cookies and water for our fur baby.

« Off the beaten track, but worth finding »

We had a lovely private "cottage" that was just a short walk from the beach. The hotel is very dog friendly with lots of places for your pet to run. Great price for a very nice stay. Comfy bed and a nice breakfast.

« Friendliest staff and great location! »

I have had to work in Bandon 3 times in the past 2 months and this was the location they chose to hold the meeting. The staff was super friendly every time, remembering me from the few weeks prior. It is right across from beach with an easy trail to access, so after a long day I could go for a relaxing walk on the beach!

    « Bandon amenities »

The staff at this hotel were absolutely wonderful. This is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in that catered so well to service dogs. Great grounds for the dog to get out in and easy access to the beach. The staff were very helpful in assisting me to find places I wanted to go to and were extremely courteous. I will definitely stay again. Thank you for a delightful stay.

« We loved our stay »

From check in to check out, we were very happy... Larry checked us in. He took excellent care of us. Nickie was also very helpful.. As a matter of face, everyone, including the window washer was a great help. We use the pool and the hot tub.. Very nice and indoors. We went across the the street to the beach and loved it. Our room was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great!! We would stay here again..

« Both my granddaughter and I liked it »

I was on a weekend roadtrip with my nine year old granddaughter and chose this property primarily because it had an indoor pool. But once we arrived, it offered so much more. Check was easy, friendly and made her feel important by addressing her as well as me. I appreciated that. The room was large and comfy as well as quite clean. Sleeping was very comfortable. The wifi was flawless. And my grandaughter loved both the pool and the hot tub. Breakfast was adequate. This was my first visit to this property and I would definitely return.

« Perfect Location Next to the Ocean »

Although it is across the street from the ocean and our room did not have an oceanview, it is steps from the ocean and a wonderful beach to walk, run or simply enjoy the scenery. Staff was exceptional and attentive. The local artwork in the lobby is stunning photography and the availability of purchasing items such as art cards, and local wine a plus! The guestroom was comfortable and quiet. A nice asset is laundry facilities on site.

    « Just Perfect »

This hotel is more like little condos than a hotel. There are several different sections on the property with several units within each. Our room was beautifully decorated, large and with all the necessary amenities. There was a front door as well as a back door, convenient parking and a sense of security. The beach was directly across a non-busy street and it is beautiful! Wide, soft sand with some grassy dunes and beautiful, unusual stones scattered on the sand. A full, free breakfast was included in a separate building in a lovely room. We would definitely return.

    « Great Hotel »

We are 4 senior ladies traveling the Oregon coast. Since we were pleased with the Best Western we stayed at in Eureka, we decided to seek one out at our next stop. This hotel is single level, not in "hotel style", located across the street from the beach on attractive grounds. The rooms and bathrooms are large, very nice and comfortable with refrigerator and microwave. Everything was very clean and neat. Warm bedding. They offer a beautiful full breakfast. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Eileen at the registration counter kept searching until she found a very good rate and even got us adjoining rooms. A delightful experience. Highly recommend this hotel.

« Nice gem in the rough »

I spent 2 nights and 3 days here in early October 2015. When I was looking for the hotel I thought I was lost. When I finally found it I was pleasantly surprised. What a quant and nice place. The hotel was quite, calm and neat. The grounds were spotless, my room was huge and well appointed and the customer service was A+++++. The location is so close to the beach and Bandon Beach that you only need to step out of your room and hear the ways crashing. If you're looking for a great value and pleasant surprise in a nice hotel this is the place. Highly recommended.

    « INCREDIBLE! »

Location is unbelievable, just a short walk to the beach and if you've ever been to the Oregon Coast you know the beach fronts are incredible. Huge haystacks and rock faces on the beach to look for treasures all day long. The hotel has a cottage feel and is quaint, quiet and immaculate all topped off with incredible friendly staff. This hotel is ideal for anyone.

    « Excellence! »

This was by far the best place I have ever stayed at! The staff is super friendly and accommodating; the rooms are clean, comfortable, and very elegant. The breakfast was spectacular--restaurant quality!!! Absolutely loved the layout of the hotel. Did not have a "hotel" feel to it. Was more like a resort. The best part was they happily greeted and accepted our dog. In fact, when we told the front desk clerk we boarded two of our three dogs, he said next time to bring them all because they love dogs!! Perfect, perfect, perfect!!!!

« Nice location just off the beated path »

This hotel is just off the beaten path. Has a trail to the beach a nice pool and inviting hot tub. The breakfast is typical and the staff is welcoming. We've stayed here multiple times and will continue to stay whenever we pass through Bandon. (now I just have to finish typing 200 characters to satisfy the comment section of this review...

    « Great stay »

We stayed 3 nights in a suite here in the middle of a 2 week Oregon road trip. After a series of one and 2 night stays elsewhere, we needed a break of a longer stay to recharge. This is an excellent property outside of town with beach access across the road. Our suite was more than I expected, more like a one bedroom apartment, extremely clean and comfortable. It had a balcony from which we could see the beach and watch the sunset. The hot breakfast buffet that is included was varied and very good. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful. We also made use of their guest laundry. I would definitely stay here again.

« Don't get excited by the view »

The ocean view is nothing to get excited about and it isn't worth the extra money. Rooms were nice but again I think they are overpriced especially for the shoulder season. Breakfast was included and it was okay.

    « very nice »

Great breakfast, great location, great value, great beach access! We come here on business and my wife is able to come along with me. She can walk the beach and enjoy herself while I am at work and in the evenings I am able to spend time with my wife and walk on the beach with her. This was the second time we choice this Best Western, We stayed here many years ago before Best Western took over this motel and they have really improved it with all the remodeling and made it a very nice medium price motel. We will come back here every time we have work in this area. It is a short 30 minute commute into Coos Bay and the Bandon Beach is one of the best beaches on the Oregon coast.

    « A Disappointment »

Travelling with our grandaughter, we felt a need to book ahead. This hotel cost a bit more than we'd wanted to pay, but we looked forward to a bit more comfort than we had gotten accustomed to. What a disappointment! We arrived at appointed hour and had to wait another 11/4hr. until our room was available. After settling in we began discovering things that were faulty, beginning with the toilet. We were told there was no maintenence man on site and were told to come to the main desk and were given a plunger. Later we discovered the bathtub plug didn't work, an activity our young grandaughter (whose birthday it was) had been looking forward to all day. I wearily trudged to the main desk and after relaying our list of mishaps to the woman at the desk, it was decided to give us a different room, an 'upgrade'. So we moved late in the p.m. to a suite which we expected to be comfortable in. It was large, roomy, but so late already that we didn't have much time to enjoy it. The room I stayed in with my grandaughter had a smell of mold!

I will be back. I loved our room. it was like a little apartment. The view of the beach was nice, it is only a short walk away. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was yummy for being free. I was very pleased.
