The Agrarian Hotel, BW Signature Collection

The Agrarian Hotel in Arroyo Grande is welcoming, well maintained, and a great value. We had car trouble on a long road trip and needed somewhere to stay with our family, including our dog. I found this hotel on Expedia, thought the price was good, and decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad we did. After a stressful couple of days and a trip that had pretty much gone off the rails, the Agrarian was a very welcome change. The hotel is extremely well maintained and feels surprisingly nice and ornate for a limited-service hotel. The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. The hotel also has a really cool creekside walkway that was perfect for walking our dog. The rooms seemed to all have nice balconies, which was a great amenity. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly nice. The free breakfast was also excellent, with a lot of options including make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, cereal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, and yogurt. They even had a nice coffee machine that made a fresh cup on demand. The neighborhood is cute and has a lot of cool-looking bars and restaurants, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the 101 freeway. Would highly recommend this hotel. It was a very pleasant surprise, especially after the kind of trip we had been having!

I have stayed at the Agrarian several times for work and for leisure. Love the location to old Arroyo Grande, easy access to the northbound or southbound 101. You are centrally located between Santa Maria and SLO. 10 minutes to Pismo or Shell beach. Lots of good restaurants with in easy walking distance. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I already have my reservations for my next visit to A.G.

I was in town to attend a funeral, so my stay was brief as needed. The hotel was pleasant to the eye as it is situated in the charming town of Arroyo Grande. The lobby was clean and comfortable. I checked in late (9:30 pm) but was greeted with courtesy and patience. They offer a Happy Hour Mon - Thur which I enjoyed the next day - first glass of wine complementary, wine/beer for purchase thereafter. A very nice option after an emotionally draining day. Although I did not have time to explore, the hotel is walking distance to town, which is beautifully decorated with lights this time of year. My room was clean, big, bed extremely comfortable, bathroom a good size. My only issue (for me) - I am not a fan of softened water, but I got over it. There was a Kurig coffee machine, microwave and fridge in the room. I was on the bottom floor - very quiet. No issues with outside noise. Would definitely come back.

Great staff, large comfy room, well-located. Feel like it should cost more. Only downside is typical Best Western breakfast - quite basic.

Check in was fast & friendly. There is a large parking lot and parking is included. Our room (122) was spacious with a comfortable bed, mini-refrigerator, microwave, Keurig and a small sitting area. There is no desk. The bathroom is large for a hotel, with a walk-in shower and plenty of bright lighting. The negatives are the lighting in bed is dim, making it hard to read. The easy chair in the room has seen better days and the round table wobbles. The location of the hotel is perfect for local dining. We have stayed here before and will again.

The staff was wonderful. Very, very helpful. The room was clean, neat, very comfortable and quiet. When I say clean and neat, I mean it was like new. The walk-in shower almost made me miss check out. The bed (a king with six pillows and a body pillow) was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. I'm not a frequent traveler but I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We recently stayed at the Agrarian Hotel BW during a basketball tournament in Arroyo Grande. Its proximity to the tournament venues was a major plus, but the hotel itself exceeded our expectations. While Best Western is known for its value and comfortable accommodations, the Agrarian Hotel felt more upscale. The quality and amenities truly elevated the experience. The location is also fantastic, being within walking distance of the Village, where we enjoyed delicious pizza at Klondike Pizza and sweet treats at Hubbalicious Sweet Shoppe. We want to give a special shout-out to Aireck a the front desk. He provided exceptional service, assisting us with extending our stay and patiently answering all our questions. I particularly appreciated how he warmly greeted every guest and wished those departing a wonderful outing. We highly recommend the Agrarian Hotel BW and plan to stay there again in the future.

This isn't your typical Best Western—this place truly shines thanks to its amazing staff! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! The rooms are huge, the beds super comfy, and the service is exceptional. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Airrick at the front desk, who delivered Ritz Carlton-level hospitality and even offered extra towels for the hot tub! As a discerning pool and hot tub owner, I'm usually skeptical of public facilities, but not here. The hot tub sparkled, the pool was crystal clear, and the deck area was impeccably maintained. The room was flawless—spacious, spotless, well-lit, with blackout drapes, a large TV, and a wonderful shower with fantastic water pressure. I travel 25-32 days a year, and discovering this gem was a delightful surprise in a fantastic location! The amazing staff made all the difference

This is a very comfortable, clean and well run hotel. Staff are very pleasant & welcoming. The hotel is fairly new and the rooms spacious and very clean. Perfect spot for a stay on the Central Coast that is reasonable & located in the Village of Arroyo Grande where there are several restaurants for dinner and a few coffee places. I would check to see if you can make dinner reservations ahead of time as the Village seemed busy this past weekend. Very reasonably priced and won't disappoint. Breakfast is standard fare but easy for traveling. I highly recommend this hotel as it's very easy & new. Beds & pillows very comfortable!! I'll use again. Thank you!
