Chryssi Akti, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western, Andros Island

The hotel is perfectly located right in front of the beach where the hotel provides an outdoor lounge and multiple sunbeds. The free Wifi works great and it even covers part of beach area. There are plenty of restaurants and tavernas within short walking distance, so lunch and dinner are not going to be a problem. The most striking thing about the Batsi Chryssi Akti hotel is in our opinion the staff. Everyone including the housekeeping, the tenders of the beach/pool bar, the reception staff and the hotel manager George, seem all to truly like their jobs. They always greeted us with a genuine smile and a desire to help whenever needed.

This hotel is set right on the beach and has complimentary sunbeds for residents which in itself is a great bonus these days. Rooms are quiet and well insulated with excellent double glazing and external shutters along with blackout blinds. The staff are fabulous. The location is only a few minutes walk into Batsi harbour and all the restaurants. The only negative point was the wardrobe space. The wardrobe was just above single size but had a boxed in section taking up 1/3 of the space. Daiy room cleaning and bedding/towel changing. Really cannot praise this place enough.

This is an Hotel, with Bar, swimming pool, reception, with friendly staff open to help you at any time for any need. Room is ok for two people, we were three, bit stretched, but for the time we spent inside it overall ok. Lateral sea view, small pool and in 10 meters the nice beach with umbrella and towels included. Excellent breakfast, just at the beginning of Batsi (lovely village) but still in a quite location despite the huge parking just aside. I had a great time, recommended, definitively worth the price

I can't praise the staff enough for their kindness. From the very first moment, I felt very welcome. At this place they really understand what hospitlity is, they care. The manager is clearly leading by example: always visible on the workfloor, hands on, exchanging some friendly words with staff and guests. Every guest is a VIP and gets full attention from all. The location is top, the beach is right outside the door. Hotelguests may use the beach beds free of charge and can ask for a beach towel at reception. There is also a pool for those who prefer. Rooms totally adequate for such a location. Breakfast in a nice setting: one can sit inside or outside, feel the family atmosphere and see the town wake up. Last but not least: the housekeeping team is working hard to keep the hotel spotlessly clean at all times.

We booked this hotel due to bwh brand The building is quite old the rooms partly refurbished but very clean with a nice veranda The beach just in front of the hotel serving great snacks plus excellent breakfast at the restaurant Staff in the bar and beach was very nice and professional but can't say the same with the front desk that forgot to book a taxi as promised and almost lost our flight to Australia. In addition nobody was attending the front desk in 6 00 am Thanks to a young and helpful lady in the kitchen that called a taxi for us and saved our trip

It's our third time that we visited this hotel (2016 - 2018 and now) and were extremely surprised with the number of changes. We noticed a lot of renovations but most important for us, a renovated lovely friendly and professional ambiance. The smiling and perfect housekeepers, the smiling young people in the beach and restaurant, an excellent rich and tasteful breakfast and a helpful front desk At last, it's a must, to mention the smiling and professional manager present almost all day in all areas and not desapearing in a ventilated office So many smiling people can only make smiling guests to return in the future

We are currently staying at this pleasant hotel but are finding breakfast a bit disappointing!! There's no toaster and for the last 5 days the food put out has been exactly the same each morning! It would be nice if they mixed it up a bit ! Plenty of bread but no toaster to put the scrambled eggs or cold boiled eggs on? Also Don't they eat mushrooms in Greece ? Veggie brekkie a bit bland

Dear "Day Trip" First of all, we believe that your comment is malicious and directed for unknown reasons Its well known, that in all hotels of the world breakfast is the same daily with few extra daily plates. In our hotel we serve an assortment of beverages, juices, fresh and preserved fruit, marmelades, honey, choco cream, 3-4 different cakes, local sweets, charcuterie, cheeses, fresh vegetables, eggs and more. All these fresh made using the best quality

We loved every minute of our stay at the Chryssi Akti. It really is a fantastic place. Great location opp. the beach. We had a family room which was large and practical. Beds were large and very comfy and we slept well every night. We visited at the start of June and it was becoming busy but was very quiet and there was no noise or disturbance at night. Air con was effective. As other reviews have said, the receptionists (and particularly Sophia) are superb and they really try to make your stay special. They organised a hire car for a few days (cheap as chips at 35 Euro a day) via a local company, which was delivered to the hotel. There are many beautiful restaurants nearby to try out. We didn't have a bad meal anywhere. If you sit on the beach out the front of the hotel, there is a small supermarket within a two minute walk where you load up with snacks and drinks. All in all, we loved our stay at the hotel and we would certainly love to come back again.

The hotel was so clean and tidy and the staff were amazing and helpful especially the reception staff, the location right on the beach was amazing and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The sea view rooms are fantastic and worth the small extra. The shower was great and the air conditioning worked really well too, cant wait to stay again. The beach was so close and so clean, the hotel also supplied plenty of free sun beds and also offered a drinks waiter service at no extra cost.

The location is spectacular right by a beautiful family friendly gently sloping beach. Within 10 minutes walk there are some of the nicest restaurants I have eaten in. The rooms are modern, clean and have stunning views. The staff are amazing so helpful. The reception area for breakfast is really nice as was breakfast.
